David Rogers Webb is the author of The Great Taking, which is about the insidious plan by central banks and international financial regulatory institutions to crash the unsustainable system and seize whatever assets the crash doesn’t vaporize — meaning, your savings, your wealth, and your supposedly freely-owned chattels. Much of this mischief was accomplished by surreptitious changes to the Uniform Commercial code and other rules for the transference of property. It’s a spooky story. David is a former investment banker and hedge fund manager. He’s produced his book as a free giveaway in pdf form which you can get here.

The KunstlerCast theme music is the beautiful Two Rivers Waltz written and performed by Larry Unger

Yowzah! Jimbo may have met his match w/ this character. A good interview nonetheless, even if David Rogers Webb is paranoid.

I’d say that the new mic worked really well, Jim! This is the first podcast after several where I did not hear only one speaker or the other through only a single side of the headphone. Maybe your new microphone fixed that problem.

In other words, the podcast this time was broadcast in stereo. Sorry for not being perfectly clear in my first comment.

I wonder if the rather abrupt assessment of Webb by JHK on the Coffee and a Mike podcast had something to do with Webb getting “off the pot” so rapidly?

    Good interview in any case.

DC Jones…You must be an old radio guy…you know what a “pot” is. Alas, this blog is beginning to show its age. Time for the host to retire? Or time for him to live on forever, like the polititions who think they have all the answers and (subconsciously or not) refuse to mentor the next generation? For better or worse, the next generation will mentor itself. Sad…it didn’t used to be that way.

Old radio guy? Time for the host to retire? I’m an old man that reads Kunstler’s blog because he leaves treats for me and people like me that you apparently miss. He writes just not for the general public, but people that have that have lived long enough and earned the ability to appreciate his artistry as a word smith.

I bet he’s the life of the party.

You are over the target Jim. This was one of the best and most useful interviews yet. The normies are not awake yet but I no longer give a shit about their sheep-like behavior. The herd will be pruned like an orchard apple tree.
