The Senate bill also includes a provision intended to avert surprise tax bills for people who lost jobs, waiving federal income taxes for the first $10,200 of unemployment benefits received in 2020 for households earning under $150,000.”
The New York Times

Isn’t that a curious concept from the front page of Re-set Central? How does a couple with no jobs and no income earn $150,000 in a year that they were not working? And if they somehow brought in $150,000 anyway, why do they need the support of the US government? Such are the many mysteries of the Coronavirus 2021 stimulus bill.

What’s actually going on with this monster of legislation? Kind of looks like an attempt to replace what used to be a national economy with something that pretends to be money conjured from a system pretending to tax itself on wealth that was never generated in the first place. In other words: politicians have achieved the final divorce of wealth from production, and thus economy from reality. The USA has become the Big Rock Candy Mountain.

Whatever else the Soviet experiment was, it was at least predicated on producing stuff, however defective the incentives turned out to be, or how shoddy the stuff was that got produced — and the system finally crashed anyway, because it was based on fantasies of human social behavior that just didn’t comport with reality. Now, the USA, in its own existential climax phase, seeks to re-do the Soviet experiment, only minus that feature of industrial production. Instead, our “wealth” gets generated from the banking system alone, and its subsidiary activities, such as hedge funds, arbitrages, dividends from companies with no earnings, and the fees for swapping digitized bundles of this-and-that. You understand that it’s all an illusion, right?

Bitcoin is the exemplar of that divorce of wealth from production. Its value appears to be derived from two features: the mathematically elegant blockchain code, which is a distributed accounting system supposedly impervious to government meddling. And “mining” Bitcoin using colossal amounts of electricity to churn the blockchain code, a simple dissipation of energy. What is actually produced by these operations? A promise that a set of digits residing on countless flash drives around the world equal X-amount denominated in national currencies, which are themselves spun out of nothing by a process far less complex than the exertions that produce Bitcoin.

It may be true that Bitcoin’s distributed “ledger” is difficult for governments to crack, but governments can just abolish Bitcoin in a few keystrokes by criminalizing the trade of it and confiscating any theoretical profits from it. They have probably refrained so far because the traffic in Bitcoin is still relatively tiny compared to the trade in stocks, bonds, and their derivatives, and because they prefer to keep the Bitcoin model running as a demonstration project in preparation for their own entry into national cryptocurrencies, with all its advantages for tracking individual transactions and targeting tax liabilities.

Let’s spell out the more blatant shortcomings of Bitcoin: The blockchain may be theoretically bomb-proof, but the exchanges that Bitcoin trades on can be fiddled, hijacked, and erased from the universe, and Bitcoins with them. Remember Mt. Gox? When it went tits-up in 2014, 850,000 Bitcoins vanished (out of the 21 million that can ever be “mined” under the system as designed). Bitcoins were worth under $1000 when that happened. Also, keep in mind that Bitcoin is meaningless without reliable electric service and the Internet that runs on it. How many Bitcoins were bought-and-sold in Texas those dark days a couple of weeks ago when a blue norther rolled in and the lights went out? Of course, trading Bitcoin might be the least of your problems when the pipes freeze and all the sheetrock in your house gets prepped for a black mold experiment. But just sayin’….

The Schumer-Pelosi gang looks exorbitantly proud of their legislative coup in the stim bill (and Mitch McConnell’s gang, too, which had to play along, or get tagged and cancelled as Dr. Seuss-like creatures of Grinchified parsimony). Obtuse, desperate, and stupid as these grandstanding politicians are, they all overlook the workings of entropy in these foolish expedients to keep the plates spinning in this performance-art economy. Namely: disorder. Everything is groaning and cracking out there.

One-time $1,400 handouts and even regular $300 unemployment subsidies won’t pay the mortgages or feed families very long, and every day there are fewer families bringing in anything close to that mythical $150,000. For many, it’s more like… nothing. The one-time bailouts of recklessly insolvent city and state governments and pension funds will only postpone their collapse. The varying guaranteed basic income schemes, enhanced child credits, advances on tax refunds, and other gimmicks would turn the former working class into sub-lumpenproles with nothing to occupy them but crime and vice. In fact, we already have a sizable underclass demonstrating exactly what you’ll get from enlarging the social group dependent on government support.

The only other question for now is when do the different population groups in this land explode in violence? The group loosely bundled as “Red” is angry enough with the ongoing insults of Wokery, failed rule-of-law, and abridgments of basic constitutional rights. The states where they dominate are likely to resist any more fiats by the federal government, like the imminent attempt to confiscate firearms. The “Blue” auxiliary armies are beyond their creators’ control. Antifa will be ready to rock-and-roll in the streets with good weather because so many young people have absolutely no prospects to thrive in the collapsing economy, and the streets have become their social space, with so little money for lattes and beers. And BLM need look no further than the Derek Chauvin trial in Minnesota, starting today, for an excuse to resume its characteristic activities.

Does anyone seriously believe that the husk of Joe Biden will remain in office more than another few weeks? It’s obvious that he doesn’t have the mental mojo to work an authentic press conference, and surely not the customary address to a joint session of Congress. Even the news media may seek to know who is actually in charge of the executive branch before much longer. Pay close attention to events unspooling. Get ready for trouble. It’s coming every which way, from money to public order to rollicking spring weather.

See the US bond markets over the past month, foreigners are not buying US bonds.

Bond dealers have been stuck with up to 40% of the unsold bonds.
The Fed Reserve can only buy so much.

If the Treasury can’t raise money, due to lack of bond purchases, where is the $1.9 trillion going to come from ?

Will the Fed Reserve be forced to purchase all the bonds?

If so, then the US more than likely sees hyperinflation.

    • hmuller March 8, 2021 at 10:20 am #

“The Fed Reserve can only buy so much.”

I beg to differ. The Federal Reserve can buy every Treasury debt instrument, every corporate bond, every student loan, every commercial and consumer debt instrument, every car loan, every stock, every house, every farm, every collectible. In short everything the seller will sell for US dollars, the FED can buy it.

For purposes of dollar credibility they may restrain themselves, but less and less so as time goes by.

Why when old sleepy Joe steps down the same ones will run it than when Reagan who was in outer space stepped out of it and corporate American along with the bankers stepped in, even going as far as going up on the hill and writing their own bills which has tanked the country, so you can expect the same to happen allover again. Goodbye, America it sure was nice knowing you hello banana republic move over we are now joining you damn if I could only speak Russian or Chinese I would be joining you.!!

            Sleepy Joe never stepped up.

Somebody else has been pulling his strings since before the “keep the record player on at night” crack he blurted out at the debate.

The obvious questions are, Who is Mr. Big? Obama’s third term? And how much longer will the MSM keep up this charade of legitimacy?

Any average sixth grader could see that the Emperor is wearing no clothes and is ten apples short of a peck.

I wonder which intrepid reporter will be the first to state the obvious and risk being permanently canceled by The Wokester DNC tribe?

Dan Bongino, former Secret Service agent and radio host claims he has talked to scores of people associated with The White House and he says “Everyone knows Biden is cognitively gone.”

Who is really in charge? The Malignant Overlords of course.
But who are their front men?

Follow the money all the way to the dry husk of President Obiden blowing in the wind.

As any sixth grader who could tear themselves away from their Phone long enough to comment would tell you, emperor Obiden has no clothes. He cannot be let out in public least he forget where the White House is as well as forgetting that there is a Pentagon and a War Machine under his command.

His sidekick the HO was so unpopular as a presidential candidate that she couldn’t raise a penny of support and was the first of the Midget 12 to flee the scene. And then along came Barack Obama, still nurturing the indignity of having his entire “legacy” canceled by the interloper Trump. Suddenly the back rooms where bribes are distributed had enough digital coin flowing into offshore accounts to carry the HO all the way to the vice presidency where she could exercise her talent for subservience.

        • EnterpriseSpaceship March 8, 2021 at 10:07 pm #

Sinking the dollar is no longer in the hand of anybody in the US, but rather in the hands of those billions keeping their savings under the bed in dollars outside the US.

This is exactly why the introduction of crypto currencies is essential, as the dollar has practically become almost an untouchable solid ‘brick’ of value, hardly any American policy maker can do anything about it.

Nations wish their currencies become recognised, the US suffers now its currency too much recognised!

This far, the US dollar today is effectively hardly under any control of the US.

Crypto needs a shift to replace the dollar, and that is related to oil.

It is all an Energy Musical Chairs Game, likely.

Yeah, Bitcoin has so far played its role well for me over the past 9 weeks or so. Been selling, poco-a-poco, the spike. Keep BTC at 1% or under of your net, not much pain of it goes down to zero.

BTC has been very good to me, but I have just been lucky. That train may run off the rails though, so I’ve been gittin while the gittins good.

Metals, almost any of them, look good. Especially if Harris/Biden hyperinflate.

            GLTA

          • EnterpriseSpaceship March 9, 2021 at 1:49 am #

            @oroyrodajes

Crypto currencies can do nothing until the oil goes into the hands that are unable to sell the oil for dollars – being outlawed militias and warlords, etc.

This is the scenario that no matter how much we run various computer models, it comes first.

So, somebody helps warlords controlling oil, mainly in fields in the Middle East, deny the warlords selling the oil for dollars, and force them to use crypto, instead.

In this hypothetical scenario, the Energy put behind the dollar all the last 50 years will hold, yet the price of oil itself will be ‘virtualised’ – so nobody knows who paid what for what – effectively looting it.

            God forbid.

But Yellen assured me that a little rise in interest rates just means the economy is recovering. Ya know, because of the vaccine and stuff… Would you doubt grandma Yellen?

      • Ron Anselmo March 8, 2021 at 11:56 am #

I’d doubt grandma Yellen a little less, if she’d just get a shave. She recently takes $850K, or thereabouts, for a speech, and can’t afford a decent razor? What gives?

    • Disaffected March 8, 2021 at 11:07 am #

The key to the whole scam is targeting the hyper-inflation to the desired asset classes (stocks, bonds, real estate, collectibles, etc.). So far, that’s been tremendously successful. In order to do that, the ether money needs to be targeted at the banks and the wealthy, and assiduously kept from the masses, where it would cause inflation in basic commodities. So far, that’s been tremendously successful as well. In the case of the masses, it comes down to whether you would prefer to have a whole lot of worthless money that won’t buy anything, or would you like to just have none and still not be able to buy anything? Quite a dilemma, the catch being hyper-inflation/worthless money is more likely to be blamed on the issuer, the government, while no money is far easier to blame on the person who’s not earning it in the first place. Therefore, it’s likely to be be door #2 all the way down.

      • bluekayak March 8, 2021 at 12:58 pm #

You make some very good points – so I guess I can put away the Weimar wheelbarrow and just keep stacking “junk” silver?

        • oroyrodajes March 9, 2021 at 1:41 am #

Junk silver is a pretty good bet. Basic commodities, especially non-perishable, are a good hedge against a horrid economy, My preference is metals, almost any of them.

Yep, Disaffected made some great points.

          • cleanearth March 9, 2021 at 1:23 pm #

“Basic commodities” include storable food such as canned goods, grains, pastas, dried foods, and, most especially, your own food gardens in your yard or window sill or roof top…….this is so much more important than silver or gold or kryptonite – and it’s already becoming in short supply….become a survivor so you’re more self-sufficient and you will need very little money or gold or silver….live with like-minder person(s) to save even more money and don’t dump your excess goods because others will need them in the coming times…..Please remember the grid is going to go down more and more often and then it will stay down – – have alternative means of heating your living space in winter – buy wood and put it under cover so theft does not take place……these are not hippy or “survivalist” thoughts – this from a former computer coder/teacher of database
management systems who now lives in Maine.

The story goes a professor had his graduate students read the draft of his new book as it was being prepared for publication. He paid 5-cents (gosh, how old is this story?) per error found on the first read, He upped it to 10 cents on the second read, 25 cents on the third… on and on. At the $5 mark there was still an error (though possibly more obscure) to be found.

      • michael March 8, 2021 at 4:26 pm #

On first reading the student identified 3-4 words per page while enrolling in reading class. On second reading 20% of words identified but interdependencies not yet interpreted. Finally he got Grammarly and his career was set.

    Greetings,

Every penny I can get my hands on gets funneled into preps though I do admit to one guilty pleasure – buying the treasures of the “woke” for pennies on the dollar.

I need to be honest here, I despise the woke and as I see them suffer and flail about, I make sure I am right there to pick up their assets for next to nothing. I make sure that I’m in MAGA garb when I do so.

They are going to get what they wanted and they will get it good and hard too.

I no longer consider them my fellow countrymen and I will not lift a finger to protect them from the consequences of their own decisions.

    • ThorsHammer March 9, 2021 at 2:25 pm #

Walked into the local ski specialty shop looking for a few ski binding screws. Cowering behind a counter protected with plastic shields was a store manager wearing two custom cloth masks as per last week’s suggestion by Dr. Fasschi- AKA “America’s Doctor. Before I got through the front door the gnome ordered Stop! —put on you mask. I reached into my pocket for my sample screws, and seeing his extreme agitation, proceeded toward the thick plastic barriers he was hiding behind. He nearly had a mental breakdown and began screaming at me to leave the store immediately. I did so, but only after I expressed my pity for the state of his mental illness.

As even the CDC has recently concluded, mask wearing has little or no benefit in preventing the transmission of Corvid19. Never fear, the Malignant Overlords are hard at work censoring even reports from Official Sources that might allow the citizenry to think for themselves.

Frankly I believe that the mental illness resulting from Universal Muzzling has reached the state where it is incurable. Maskholes are caught in a religious Rapture which is impenetrable by logic or fact.

The only workable solution for the sixteen states who have developed the courage to reject Official Dogma is for them to secede from the collapsing Empire (AKA) the United States and begin constructing a new nation that reflects the will of a free people. That task would be greatly facilitated if a border wall were constructed and all citizens of the new country were required to pass a psychological profile certifying that they were free of the Woke disease. Those who failed to pass could emigrate to Calinifornicatia or other remnants of the old order.

If I may interject an item regarding the ongoing culture wars.
    **********************************************************

“As the [woke] mob continues to look for stuff to burn figuratively, cartoon characters like Pepé Le Pew, a character from the Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons from the 1940s, is the next target.

New York Times liberal columnist Charles Blow recently argued in an op-ed and in a series of tweets how Pepé Le Pew “normalized rape culture.” He tweeted Saturday a scene from the cartoon: “Let’s see, he grabs/kisses a girl/stranger repeatedly, without consent and against her will. She struggles mightily to get away from him, but he won’t release her. He locks a door to prevent her from escaping.”
    https://www.zerohedge.com/political/cancel-culture-mob-goes-after-cartoon-skunk-pepe-le-pe-normalizing-rape-culture

    *************************************************************

“Pepe Le Pew is especially known for his unwelcomed sniffing of female fur. Who does that remind you of?” stated Minnie Mouse at a press conference. At her side Daisy Duck and Betty Boop nodded in agreement; all three sporting #metoo buttons. “And what he did to Tweety Bird has scarred that character’s gender identity with permanent confusion and ambiguity.”

    • Beryl of Oyl March 8, 2021 at 10:24 am #

Never understood hype about skunk smell. I mean compared to that of rotten corpse it is rather pleasant. Summer evening drive, open windows and brief whiff of a smell is almost no different than that of weed that is being legalized and openly consumed.

My dad invented a brilliant skunk trap. He filled a metal garbage can half full of water and floated a tasty salad of the skunk’s favorite delicacies on top with a plank for access. When the skunk jumped in he found himself too busy swimming to lift his tail and didn’t notice the garbage lid with a hose through it being put in place.

Cartoons are parody and satire – is this escaping the wokies’ over-educated minds?

Pepe is a type – that exists. We laugh at him. He’s a loser in the end, isn’t he?

Wokies forgot how to laugh. I guess it has been programmed out of them.

      • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 8, 2021 at 8:14 pm #

        Wokies. I like it.

Perhaps we should just take the classification full circle and go with “Wookiees” from now on? I’m sure Lucas would have a fit, but he can deal.

If you go into a Whole Foods and see the long line for the only register that “accepts” cash, while the others stand empty; and you’ve seen the claims of the coin shortage that do not appear to be true, you begin to see the connection between the COVID con and the goal of a UBI and and a cashless society.

The “tech giants” who support this will also label any science that doesn’t fit the narrative as “misinformation”, and it can get you banned.

It was a bunch of corporate bigwigs, not scientists or doctors, who came up wit the idea that we really all should be wearing masks to stop a virus or something. Then the tech titans set about having as much of the existing science as possible removed or edited.

As far as the curiosities mentioned in the first paragraph go, a society which still believes wearing a wet rag or two over your face is doing something against disease, despite glaring evidence to the contrary, is not a thinking bunch of people.

My guess is much of that stimulus money will be used as bribes to the states considering opening up, not to do so.

    • Night Owl March 8, 2021 at 10:24 am #

Indeed. Covid is a big step toward the digitization of everything.

More and more control is being handed over with each day that this fraud continues.

      • Beryl of Oyl March 8, 2021 at 10:27 am #

I am starting to really, really dislike those who are refusing to see this.

Not the ones who are just innocently not paying attention, the ones who adamantly uphold their newfound religion and bash those of us who remain unbelievers.

The abusive pattern was there from the start. If you have spent any time around highly manipulative people, you recognize the tactics instantly.

The aim is control, and they hide behind warm fuzzies. Essentially, when they tell you something, it is usually safe to assume that the exact opposite is true.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 8, 2021 at 8:18 pm #

kelly – “they said “no way we will require vaccine certificates ” Now- they are thinking about it………..”

The very fact that they said there’s no way that will happen was actually an admission that that was their plan. Media is vicious.

I am also sick of the Covid cargo cult.

This is because livestock are docile and don’t have a religion to deny.

Covid cultists become enraged and possibly violent when one denies their moronic death cult.

It’s often hard to know what these people think. I have a face diaper stuck on the rear window of my car with the word “merde!” on it (I live in a French speaking nation). Today, as I got out of my car, a young couple in another car pulled up in the space behind me. They both wore masks, and I was expecting a bit of pushback. However, they got out and raved enthusiastically about how wonderful my messaged diaper was. What gives? Have we always been this crazy but it was hidden?

      • Bilejones@hotmail.com March 8, 2021 at 2:34 pm #

The Branch Covidians are clearly winning.
Resistance to the vaccine is probably too little, too late.
I got a spam call from Johns Hopkins a couple of days ago telling me to get in line. These are the same guys who, when I had finger surgery last June insisted on a covid test three days prior but couldn’t tell me the Threshold Cycle limit that the PCR test would use. I spoke to two people at the “Covid Maryland” office and they didn’t have a clue.

I got tested again over new year as the wife was ailing and mine too was positive, I had spent $5 on horse dewormer (Ivermectin) back in April took a dose of that for two days and was fine- sympton free- within 4 days of getting the result.
It is all about the money- I spent $5 at Amazon and could have got it at the local Tractor Supply Store for $3.
        I was robbed.

        • ThorsHammer March 9, 2021 at 4:55 pm #

I’m betting that 95% of the doctors who prescribe and administer the PCR tests couldn’t tell you what Cr is used by the lab they send their samples off to –even under threat of losing their medical license.

Actually that is not a bad idea.

After I had educated him as to the meaning of random Cr amplitudes being used as a basis for “cases” and comparative
data, my ex-doctor still didn’t know the Cr being used by Abbot Laboratories that he was sending his patients swabs off to for analysis. . And by the way he had all the symptoms of being in severe respiratory distress after taking the Moderna nRNA gene therapy shot that I warned him about.

So why am I not being paid $900 per day like he is?

Meanwhile, we have many actual disasters hanging over our heads. Both the New Madrid and the Cascadia faults are due or overdue for a good rip. That’s not to even mention that monster that naps uneasily under Yellow Stone, along with several other volcanos set to blow (one in Iceland is immanent), screw with our weather, and spoil our picnics with cold, rainy, summers. Then there’s Cuba Vieja, ready to dump half its mass into the Atlantic at any time, and set off a tsunami estimated by displacement to be 100 feet high. That would arrive at the eastern seaboard of the US within eight hours. It would take out much of coastal Europe and parts of Africa too. We may get a Carrington event to accompany the inclement weather of the Grand Solar Minimum we are entering. They haven’t bothered to protect our electric grid from such a danger. Mother Nature always bats last. We might as well eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we shall die–advice of an Egyptian poet, and also recommended in the Old Testament.

      • Rulo Deschamps March 8, 2021 at 2:02 pm #

draupnir, you must mean Cumbre Vieja? “The island of La Palma in the Canary Islands is at risk of undergoing a large landslide, which could cause a tsunami in the Atlantic Ocean. ”
If I were Earth, I’d be at war with the race of evolved apes that has hijacked her body like a malignant cancer.
Perhaps she is, but we don’t see it because the pace is glacially slow.

        • ThorsHammer March 9, 2021 at 5:03 pm #

The interesting thing about that monster underwater landslide in the Canaries is that the tsunami it will cause will travel throughout the Atlantic basin, causing waves in the shallow offshore areas of the Eastern seaboard that could be measured in the hundreds of feet.

Yes, Covid was only ever a massive live exercise/false flag, mass engineering component to hide or distract from the Great Reset and also the exposing that is going on of the elites’ child trafficking industry.

Just today, Prince Charles in pics with Jimmy Saville was trending on Twitter, with #AbolishTheMonarchy – don’t know why Twitter allowed that!

It’s whack-a-mole with information now. They can’t put the genie back in the bottle, and they can’t keep us all from sharing information horizontally, although they are trying mightily.

      • Tekapo March 8, 2021 at 1:31 pm #

Yes, Covid was only ever a massive live exercise/false flag, mass engineering component to hide or distract from the Great Reset and also the exposing that is going on of the elites’ child trafficking industry.

I find this kind of paranoia astonishing … mostly because (a) the forces of darkness you claim as the active agents are simply not that coordinated, intelligent, or confidential, and (b) no-one ever explains why anyone would go to all this trouble … distraction is simply not that big a payoff.

The less said about the QAnon lunacies of elite child trafficking the better … it deserves no more oxygen.

JHK yet again this week wants America to focus on real issues in the real world … there is no need to drift off to lala-land of false flags and SMERSH style masterminds.

Overall, I go along with the Keynesian policy-strategy of providing fiscal stimulus to the economy in times of trouble, but this bill has some very weird thinking wrapped up in it.

So $1400 pp for households up to $150 K is nuts … $2800 pp for households up to $75 K would have been twice as good, but still a drop in the bucket in the long run.

Equally troubling – as JHK points out – what is “America” going to DO with the tens of millions of people (mostly under 30) who can’t or won’t find meaningful work and income – essentially in perpetuity?

Let alone those people (and many more) not attaining a meaningful vocation, a genuine career that engages their mind and passion, and allows for advancement, promotion, a secure salary, and retirement pension – maybe even status and recognition. Huh!

And when I see the endless stories about doctors and nurses and paramedics working hugely long hours in tough, dangerous, crowded Covid-19 wards … valiantly saving critical patients – or all too often losing them – I shake my head in wonder at the Q-nuts on here who call it a scam or false flag operation.

Tekapo, “I find this kind of paranoia astonishing … mostly because (a) the forces of darkness you claim as the active agents are simply not that coordinated, intelligent, or confidential, and (b) no-one ever explains why anyone would go to all this trouble … distraction is simply not that big a payoff.”

a- A few humans rise to the very top in terms of wealth and power. Do you agree? If you agree, we could call them the global elite, yes? You claim they are too sloppy and dumb to successfully manage a massive psy-ops. What kind of access do you have to them in order to soothe us that “there’s nothing to see here”? What corporate boards, intelligence agencies, mafia and triad summits do you attend to form your judgement? If you say “none”, then I ask you, how do you know this? That the wealthy and powerful want the best for every last one of us, and even if they didn’t, we’re safe because they’re too incompetent to do us harm? If you say “I read it in news organization x, y or z”, I point to you that those same organizations, over the decades, came to some very strange conclusions over a range of unpleasant episodes that required public explanations. So I assume that you accepted those explanations as satisfactory, from Kennedy’s murder to the Gulf of Tonkin to Epstein’s suicide. Most do.
In truth, I’m as small, even smaller potatoes than you are, assuming you admit you don’t attend the Davos forum, say. If you do, then my whole train of thought here is worthless, but I suspect you’re just like me: we can read or watch a screen and so form our opinions, but we both should be humble about what we “know”. I am humble. I don’t know. However, I put a lot of value on my own experience and observations. I’m willing to think for myself and lean towards an explanation that makes sense, without the hubris of thinking I know something and lecturing others.
For a year I’ve been witness to what’s been happening. A furious, determined call to arms from high up to confront a global disaster on the scale of the medieval Black Death that B. Tuchman wrote so well about. Media breathlessly, for a year now, painting a bleak picture of massive death, imminent disaster. Look around you. Where is the disaster? Some people die. Very few, compared to dozens of other causes.

This has gone long enough. You get my point.

b- a few consequences of the covid mania come to mind, all very beneficial to the elite I tried to describe in the first part of my answer: siphoning of wealth from the bottom to the top. More gov’t control and more corporate control. More surveillance, more concentration of every area of human interaction into a digital matrix. Increasingly deranged orders in order to “combat the pandemic” – Anal swabs! One, no, two masks! No Thanksgiving! Censorship to dissenters! Social justice crowds don’t spread the virus, attending church does! If you don’t accept a vaccine, you can’t be part of society! Close down small business, let corporate behemoths feast and gorge! No more school or office! Everybody inside watching screens and being afraid!

Total control is not an insignificant payoff, Tekapo. When the patterns revealed are scary, pattern recognition can seem a curse. But you need it in order to get out of the path of Moloch. Face the fear and think of ways to keep your liberty and dignity. Or think what they want you to think, conform, be free of fear but not free.

          • hmuller March 8, 2021 at 4:20 pm #

Excellent response, Rulo. Maybe some people like Tekapo look at the buffoonish puppets TPTB install in the offices of power and think ‘those people aren’t so smart’. Correct.

I think it’s people you rarely or never see who are pulling the strings of power and making the big decisions. I’m sure it’s complicated with various factions and conflicts.

But if the mafia families occasionally have a kerfuffle, does that mean there is no mafia?

Will the Tekapo’s of the world deride and mock someone as a “conspiracy theorist” because he believes rich and powerful people meet behind closed doors and make policy for the rest of us? Wake up, it happens all the time.

          • MaryV March 8, 2021 at 4:58 pm #

            Well said.

What’s funny is, there has always been a global control, and nations are more like corporations than they are separate countries. Bankers connected, corporations connected, but somehow it’s too incomprehnsible that they’d get together to run a global marketing scheme.

I visited the WE Forum’s site over a year ago and they already had a plan in place – there’s an interactive infographic that is so incredibly involved that each topic drills down 100s of times… something like that – as a designer on front and back ends of these things so I know – takes months or years to create. So, how did they have it in place last February? I mean Feb 2020. Not last month.

It’s impossible. That’s how I knew it was bullshit. Since then, I have refused to wear a mask or play their idiotic game. And I don’t know even one person who died from this supposed ‘virus’. I also learned, because I listen to epidemiologists from Stanford and the like (which Tekapo types like to call “YouTube doctors”) and hundreds of other people in the medical and scientific fields, explain that we have naturally occurring coronaviruses every year. All they had to do was hype this one and roll out marketing campaigns.

Our college went from nothing to creating a massive campaign and platform in a couple of months. That’s how this goes global. The word gets handed down.

And yes, during this, small businesses were wiped out and Bezos & Gates & the other billionaires made more billions off of us.

And let’s add that the tactics they’ve used are the opposite of what professional and award-winning epidemiologists said they should do. So they messed it up ON PURPOSE. By locking down the healthy, that creates a bigger problem. By forcing people to do unhealthy things like stay in side listening to the idiot box, they’ve actually damaged people psychologically. Suicide rates soared.

Why anyone can be in denial of this is beyond me.

          • Tekapo March 8, 2021 at 6:52 pm #

Will the Tekapo’s of the world deride and mock someone as a “conspiracy theorist” because he believes rich and powerful people meet behind closed doors and make policy for the rest of us? Wake up, it happens all the time.

I certainly don’t deny that there are global cartels in many industries (plus regional and national ones – the NFL franchise owners, for example). Some of these global cartels are pretty obvious (OPEC plus its associates), while others work primarily through opaque monopoly practices, and essentially the elimination of all or most local competition.

            It’s called transnational capitalism.

There are a million nefarious ways (including control of dictators, governments, and banking systems) whereby the already rich channel huge amounts of unaccounted wealth from the mass of people to a very small elite.

The Global Financial Crisis of 2008 is a good example – the key power nodes (President, Congress, the Fed, Wall Street, etc) combined to ensure that the guilty went totally unpunished – in fact they were rewarded for their rackets.

To make it worse, they control much of the “reality space” – where they can blatantly set tax rules (or no rules) to benefit only themselves, shift the tax burden to the lower 90%, and also deny welfare and support to huge numbers of people who really need it – people who are poor and unemployed, not morally or personally defective.

Where I part company is when these global realities is when the “elites” are cited as the cause of a wide range of global ills. There is no way – to my mind – that the Covid-19 pandemic or the various responses to it are false flags or nefarious steps on the way to the Great Reset or the New World Order.

You wear a mask for rational public health reasons … not because George Soros or Bill Gates or the Illuminati want to control the mass of people from here to eternity.

          • hmuller March 8, 2021 at 8:52 pm #

Well Tekapo, believe what you will about Covid. At least you understand why so many deplorables of all races feel like we have been royally butt fucked by those who rule the country and the earth.

Whether Trump was a sincere opponent to such forces or playing the role of controlled opposition can be endlessly debated. In any case he was barely a speed bump on their road to a New World Order.

I hope you recognize the deep state, intell community, central banking cartel, and corporate globalists et al. as tentacles of the same beast. And it is this creature which is the common enemy of mankind. This enemy and its growing control matrix should be the focus of our attention. Absurd and divisive cultural, sexual, and race issues are being nourished to divide and conquer us.

The only good thing about the new administration is how the vile monster is now openly on display for all to see.

Tek: Read Klaus Schwab’s book on the great Reset. He admits that Covid is much ado about little and that they are using it as pretext. Is it really much of a stretch to imagine they engineered it and/or planned for this moment, with this pretext or another handy one that came along?

Ummmm no, wearing a mask is unhealthy. Why did they direct the world to do something that causes self-harm, physically and mentally? Still haven’t even pondered that, have you?

The richest five Oligarchs in the USA have added 290 billion dollars to their already immense fortunes during the Year of Corvid 2020. How much have the bottom 60% seen disappear from their savings and businesses in the same year?

          • Tekapo March 10, 2021 at 4:49 am #

I hope you recognize the deep state, intel community, central banking cartel, and corporate globalists et al. as tentacles of the same beast. And it is this creature which is the common enemy of mankind. This enemy and its growing control matrix should be the focus of our attention. Absurd and divisive cultural, sexual, and race issues are being nourished to divide and conquer us.

I certainly do recognise the reality of corporate capitalism, and the governments and bureaucracy that have been in place for decades or even centuries, to support and protect the wealth and privileges of the ruling class.

What I don’t buy are the more unhinged conspiracy theories blaming the elites for all sorts of things that actually have far more conventional causes, and nor do I agree that the Democratic Party is the handmaiden of the “Deep State” – I think they’re a distant second place to the GOP.

Did you believe in the Russiagate conspiracy theory? Or the Capital insurrection conspiracy theory? I’m guessing yes.

No and no, in fact, but with caveats.

I think it was proved beyond doubt that the Trump family colluded with Russia to get oppo research dirt, and also milked the Wikileaks emails for what they could – but meanwhile the Democrats also played political games.

Trump very nearly cooked his own goose during Mueller etc, by lying and obstructing … he was very dumb, believing in his own invulnerability as president. He also employed a lot of genuine nutters (Bannon, Miller, Giuliani, etc), and a lot of yes-men.

I don’t think Trump ever believed that having his “stand down & stand by” boys storm the US Capitol was going to save his bacon, and I don’t think he called directly for the mob to go do it. He nearly did – but not quite.

But he had stirred up the deplorables for months over the election – and maybe he really believed that at the end of the day “his” Supreme Court or “his” Vice President would turn over the result.

And it was a MAGA riot – not an Antifa-BLM false-flag or agent-provocateur event … that it is a ridiculous (and cowardly) claim.

I don’t think the election was stolen btw – Biden won it. Trump was not a successful or popular president, but I don’t think he should have been impeached the second time.

The case for impeachment was much stronger the year before … standing over Ukraine leaders to get fake dirt on the Bidens … Trump was a real grub in that and deserved to be hit for it.

            Blue Anon rules 🙂

Paranoia? I’ve never had one ounce of paranoia in me. I do my homework, and have for 20 years.

“How could the whole world be in on it?”

Easy: WHO/Gates/WE Forum/Davos. It’s published on all their sites. Schwab was on the cover of Time selling it. Even when these people get on a stage and tell you what they are doing you don’t believe it. That’s a special kind of denial and Truman Show world you’re living in.

Enjoy Bill Gates’ “Final Solution” yes he said that.

42 hospitals closed last year due to lack of business. There is a hospital use tracker for the entire country and no one has been above 29% capacity.

Like I said: Do your homework instead of instantly ingesting and accepting mainstream media lies.

There may be more utter horseshit contained in these few sentences than anything I’ve ever seen.

ICU RN here; we were at full capacity several times this winter, losing people to Covid up and down the unit’s hallways.

Your rightful suspicion of the world’s generalized widespread corruption has led you to dismiss the Covid death toll as fraud. It’s not, you know not of what you speak.

It’s bullshit that hospitals close? Use the google. You’ll see.

I know just as many ICU nurses who agree with me covid is bullshit.

How come everyone who disagrees with me uses invective, platitudes and anecdotal examples, rather than any factual data?

SMH. The trolls can’t be bothered to even try.

The funniest thread I’ve seen lately was where someone posted an article by CNN or the like, with the headline screaming about the full hospital. A bunch of people replied that they had just coincidentally been at the hospital, and it was so empty your footsteps echoed. Including in ‘busy’ LA county.

            The lies abound.

The last sentence/paragraph sums it up.

The concept of the United States is a fiction, much like the concept of Yugoslavia and its predecessor, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, were fictions. And a society without a common culture has zero prospects for long-term survival. A house dived against itself indeed…

The only question is whether the break-up is peaceful, a la the Czech Republic and Slovakia, or violent like the aforementioned Yugoslavia.

The kind people with differing points of view used to be able to have.

Love and Marriage, Love and Marriage
Implicit gender roles won’t be disparaged

“When it comes to the feminist movement’s impact on social bonds, intersexual relationships tend to be the primary focus of discussion, and for good reason: marriage is the primary human institution, the one from which all others flow and toward which all others are directed. How one man and one woman once related to one another reverberates concentrically throughout the lives of all people. It’s everything.”

The only thing that has held the US together is wag the dog. We have fought wars every twenty years at the behest of out benevolent government and created millions of national heroes.

Trump broke the train of wars. Without the focus of a war to “unite” us in a cause, the split has continued, much to the chagrin of the MIC.

We will engage in a foreign war soon. If we do not, the whole gravy train is going to collapse. We really do not have a legitimate reason to be a union of states. War acquired the Midwest, war acquired Texas, war acquired the Southwest, war acquired California, treaties acquired the Louisiana Purchase, the Northwest and Alaska. A little mini coup finished off the Hawaiian monarchy.

Without war and its brother, Manifest Destiny, the United States would never have happened.

It could be interesting, anybody’s guess. Trump kept up relations with everyone. Biden not so much.

Think about Saudi Arabia, our oil savior over the years. Now fight with Iran’s in town thugs who are starting to attack the oil centers. Is Biden going to back Iran? If he does, he is crazy and should be removed from office. China is outfoxxing the US in so many theaters now, so many. We snub SA, China builds a highway to get the oil from SA and the rest of the ME. Trains are next, then pipelines. We are politically stupid now. Iran vs. Saudi Arabia, no. 1 candidate.

The US’s number one enemy is domestic not foreign. You are already watching the Biden administration trying to alienate the “other fifty%” and creating civil discord in this country. Our enemy is us.

Now, if you believe the (currently discredited) theory that America and Britain are descended from Ephraim and Manasseh and they absorbed the descendants of other Israelite tribes, thereby making the UK, Commonwealth countries, US, and Israel the Israel foretold by scripture, that changes things a lot. Either way, the Russo-Persian forces attack Israel, not the other way around.

    • Wizard of the Saddle March 9, 2021 at 4:33 pm #

King of Comedy: Anyone with a smidgen of common sense should realize the truth of what you posted. Pat Buchanan nailed it back in 1992 in Houston when he declared that we were engaged in a great culture war and he has never backed away from that.

America’s cultural civil war is now several decades old and the big crack-up of the country is racing at us faster than a hypersonic missile because the Libtards have succeeded in undermining the dominant European culture of the founding stock of the country – replacing it with a miniature United Nations culture – a polyglot of competing cultures that all pretty much detest one another. All of these competing imported foreign cultures now compete to see which will become the new dominant culture. Rest assured, when a winner is declared, the losers are not going to just shrug and accept that outcome.

A more likely response will be the metallic sound of millions of bolts slamming home on the rifles of a lot of very pissed off people. I predict that a Yugoslav type meltdown is in our near future and it will be exceedingly violent and destructive. It will also mean the end of this country’s status as the world’s dominant global hegemon. When the smoke finally clears we’ll be fortunate if even one or two fragments of the once mighty USA are still capable of functioning as western style republics with democratically elected governments and viable economies.

For this HAPPY FUTURE, we can all thank our fellow “countrymen (?)” who have been voting for the Democrats since the early 1960’s. They are traitors to the constitution and unworthy of citizenship. If I had my way, they’d be stripped of the same and sent into exile to China, Cuba, North Korea, or Venezuela where they could wallow in socialism forever and ever.

I think your WMBH novels spell out what is “real” money in a crisis. A part of every paycheck of mine is going towards the one asset in the world that is STILL 50% below its all time high. SILVER.

Every other asset in the world is way way over its skis. Sliver is going to be your future when the fictitious assets hit the ground back to reality.

Also, you don’t have silver, unless you can hold it. Just like BTC, a silver share on some exchange is worthless. LETS GET PHYSICAL!

        • Rulo Deschamps March 8, 2021 at 5:20 pm #

Thirdcoast, yes. A side note, his nom de plume is composed of two parts, “fer” is normal diminutive for “fernando”, FAL stands for Fusil Argentino Liviano, the locally produced assault rifle that was standard issue during the guerrilla engagements of the 70’s & the Falklands conflict of the early 80’s.
Also showed up illegally during arms embargoes worldwide, say in Croatia during the 90’s implosion of the former Yugoslavia.
Argentina’s case is incredible. From being the 8th economy in the world, feeding a large chunk of the globe, domestically producing everything from ovens to cars to airplanes, a geography blessed with every resource, fossil, hydro, timber, fisheries, water, maybe the best agricultural land in the world, a Euro-ethnic, hard-working, educated, smart population into… well, into what the rest of Latin America has historically been.

            Rulo,

Have you read any of Juan Filloy’s novels?

Argentina produces more great literature than the rest of South America combined, but still, not many have even heard of him. Brilliant and hilarious romps!

He wrote over fifty novels, but unfortunately, I don’t understand Spanish, and only two of them have been translated into English, Op Oloop and Caterva, both of which I’ve read.

Fascinating guy. It blows me away he could write 50 novels of such accomplishment in his spare time, on top of being a judge and a boxing referee.

Maybe it was his longevity. He died just shy of his 106th birthday, and his life spanned three centuries (born 1894).

          • Rulo Deschamps March 9, 2021 at 5:52 am #

thirdcoast, Mendoza is the heart of wine country down there, as the flat Pampas are cattle country. Combine the two, and you have our comfort of choice: steak and wine. Glad you were able to visit before the end of the era of easy travel.

Soul, I haven’t read Filloy. Seems like a fascinating character and I’m sorry I didn’t buy some of his books when visiting Buenos Aires. As I was telling thirdcoast, travel has gotten so difficult now, who knows when/if I’ll be able to visit again, kiss my mum & grandmother, browse the bookstores & eat the good food.

The number one Argie author is, without question, Jorge Luis Borges, a titan of intellect that will surprise you with his erudite short stories dealing with time, dreams, labyrinths, mirrors, tigers. He’s been translated into every language, so you shouldn’t have a problem finding his work in English.

Other writers from that region I can recommend are Roberto Arlt, Julio Cortazar, Ernesto Sabato, and the Uruguayan Juan Carlos Onetti. Most or some of their work available in English.

            Rulo,

            Yes, Borges is can’t miss.

The cost of two ounces of silver with the premium will purchase a full case of 6 1.75L bottles in several different brands…Oregon has high liquor prices, controlled by the state…and even so, it is a better bet than silver.

CBEARD: Your sentiment is a commonly expressed one in the prepper community, but is by no means a universal one.

My own view is that the utility of bullion stacks is entirely dependent on the nature, severity, and scope of the SHTF scenario. If all descends into absolute chaos and anarchy then, yes, LEAD will be the most precious metal of all. But if the crisis is merely a transitory one, then gold and silver may have a role to play in reconstituting basic trade as local and national economies try to rebuild. When fiat currencies collapse, as they all eventually do, SOMETHING always must fill the void.

Initially, this void is filled by brigandry (armed theft) and barter. The former is very dangerous. Do it for too long and eventually you will return to warm embrace of Mother Earth. The later is safer, but damned inefficient, which is why a medium of exchange will always be sought.

Gold and Silver have proven themselves over thousands of years to be the most practical and durable form of money that can facilitate commerce. To a lesser extent, copper has also served as a monetary metal for very small transactions. These metals are used because they are portable, divisible, durable, and have intrinsic value.

So, yes, after a SHTF situation that takes down the USD and all other fiat currencies, if humanity survives the disaster and begins to engage in trade again…..guess what…..gold and silver will re-appear as money because their inherent properties make them the best possible choices to serve in this role. So, no, I cannot agree that people who stack gold and silver are wasting their time. 3,500 years of the history of human civilization says otherwise.

        • elysianfield March 9, 2021 at 5:41 pm #

          Wizard,
Well, 3500 years is impressive, but consider that there are 350 million people in this country alone. Gold and silver bullion/coinage will be a rarity, and not nearly enough to be widespread in commerce. Metals are just another commodity….maybe with a bit more liquidity at some level, maybe not.

In the early blooming of the financial crisis in late 2007, Arianna Huffington said “In America we used to make things, now we just make things up.”

One significant attribute of our collapsing empire is its dithering into abstraction, ungrounded in reality and ruled by blockheads who mistake words for concepts–all of them the product of a clerical oligarchy whose whole existence is derivative: without something to destroy they too collapse. Fitting, then, that our president by fiat shuffles listlessly through his sad days, muttering and grimacing in a simulation of the punchy second-rate car salesman he used to be.

Time and nature are the implacable authorities that check faulty abstraction and crush foolish fantasy.

    • Disaffected March 8, 2021 at 11:27 am #

That’s a classic quote. Peak abstraction indeed! The catch being it’s all enforced at the end of a gun, missile, or bomb.

Speaking of making things, I read an article about China having a good laugh because they can’t keep up with the U.S. demand for needles and syringes!

Imagine that!? Items we need for National Security still being made in China. Tylenol, antibiotics and on and on.

I don’t need another cheap plastic Barbie for my granddaughter, but those syringes and needles and antibiotics etc? That’s another story nobody is talking about.

      • tully March 8, 2021 at 4:03 pm #

I’m old enough to remember glass syringes, IV bottles, and steel needles. Abandoned for the “modern” plastic. More sanitary, labor saving, etc. So everyone thought at the time.

Just out of curiosity, searched for glass syringes. Amazon of all places has some.

We might come come to wish we had a few million glass syringes and metal needles before too long. Something to be said for reusable. Wonder if the hospital sized autoclaves and syringes/needles are still manufactured in the US?

        • hmuller March 8, 2021 at 6:03 pm #

I remember getting my shots in the early 1960’s from something that looked the size of a caulking gun; huge needle too. They once had to chase me around the doctor’s office and hold me down. A scene which will be re-enacted if they make the Covid vaccine mandatory.

As for the Derrick Chauvin trial pertaining to whether or not he murdered a man dying of a fentanyl overdose… the Minnesota authorities should be prepared to just hand out free Nikes and canisters of Afro-Sheen to all the unhappy rioters.

    • King of Comedy March 8, 2021 at 10:45 am #

      @debt

In a world where facts had their millennia-old relation to reality, having 11 ng/ml of fentanyl in one’s system would go a long way toward determining one’s likelihood of exiting the planet (the MN coroner is on record stating that he had seen fatal overdoses with as low as 3 ng/ml) but facts ain’t what they used to be.

The bigger question is where the hell are they going to find an “impartial” jury as well as jurors who are willing to have their lives ruined should they decide to take the actual facts, particularly the one cited above, into consideration. It’s a sarcastic way of looking at it but the jurors in Al Capone’s tax evasion trial probably had less to worry about.

    • abbybwood March 8, 2021 at 2:45 pm #

The geniuses in their City Council had the crackpot idea to pay people to blog about the trial. So-called “influencers”. They canceled the plan.

      • SW March 8, 2021 at 3:59 pm #

But this trial will be televised, just like the one for OJ so it will turn into a media circus. Derrick Chauvin is participating in a show trial whether he realizes it or not. If George Floyd had 11 ng/mg fentanyl in his system, that’s enough to kill anyone but that fact isn’t going to matter. Maybe this is to be another distraction while the looting continues and the voting laws are changed.

The “Blue” auxiliary armies are beyond their creators’ control. Antifa will be ready to rock-and-roll in the streets with good weather because so many young people have absolutely no prospects to thrive in the collapsing economy

This is something to recall, even for people who oppose the AntiFA and other rioters. People who’ve been cut in on the deal do not try to upend the whole table. That so many white youth in Portland and Seattle see so little future for themselves that they riot to overturn the system means it’s not long for this world.

White elites cut black elites (the talented tenth) in on the deal, while leaving most blacks out, and then throwing working class whites under the bus. The Asian meritocrats that the white elite imported to run things are not going to improve the lot of the abandoned. The best hope is to keep poor whites and blacks at each others’ throats, lest they figure to string the elites by their throats.

    • Yohannon March 8, 2021 at 10:43 am #

yeah because otherwise blacks and whites would be completely united, right? Because people are just people. No distinct or valuable cultures, but les genomes. Just generic blank slates, or lumpen proletariat.

They can conjure up this “magic” as long as the petrodollar exists. Iran received a $400 billion USD credit line from China. They’re now China’s marionette. The Iranian missile attack on Dhahran is an attack on the heart of Saudi oil. In effect, China’s war on Saudia has began. With a China foreign agent in the White House as POTUS, things are not looking particularly good for the prospect of the US petrodollar.

Should the Saudis pivot to China for protection of their oil assets, and they may very well do that, it will be the end of the US petrodollar.

The resent run in US interest rates is signaling a serious loss of confidence with the US response to the situation in the ME. If interest rates explode, so will the US debt market.

Overnight, half of the Americans employed will be without a job, and the unemployed will have all their government benefits immediately cut. There will be a total collapse of all government services as well as services by local businesses, as mass looting of goods will force businesses to close shop. All levels of government in the US will be immediately bankrupt.

    Mr. Kunstler,
It occurred to me that the security measures still extant in the DC region (Troops, fences), are not there for responses to current issues, but rather for issues that the “legislators” know will occur in the near future.

My personal belief is that it will involve gun “control”/ confiscation, in whatever form it will be presented.

    • cbeard March 8, 2021 at 2:00 pm #

I think you are correct. They are running scared in DC. In my locale, gun control is a no go. I can only speak for myself, but I think practically everyone will ignore any new gun laws, including any restrictions concerning mag size, caliber, suppression, registration, and certainly confiscation. If they try. It will get interesting quickly.

      • beantownbill. March 8, 2021 at 3:13 pm #

Well, in my locale, people are terrified of anything that uses gunpowder. Gun control would be accepted by most, no problem. As I’ve said many times, I’d move but for my family. Unfortunately, they are very liberal – well most of them – and would never leave. So I’m stuck. Family trumps politics in my case.

It’s extremely ironic that once upon a time my state rebelled against TPTB, and weren’t afraid of using guns.

        • cbeard March 9, 2021 at 11:55 am #

Yes, I understand all too well. I live in a rural southern community, It used to be pretty evenly split between black and white. Now it’s probably majority black. When you factor in all the immigrants, including Hispanics, Asians and others, Whites are probably close to a minority or soon will I be. I have lots of extended family here, with kids and grandchildren. It would be hard for me to leave. For the most part I love the area and people, even some of the minorities, but if things really break down, race will be a huge factor. One of my kids and his family live in Idaho and I had considered moving there, but it’s just too damn cold for me. Damn it, I’m not going to run.

      • MaryV March 8, 2021 at 5:02 pm #

Yep. The window for ending the right to bear arms is closed, they’ve tried ever since 9/11 but it never gained traction. And after this stunt (Covid19) people are 10x more skeptical of the government overreach – so it’s not gonna happen.

        • Wizard of the Saddle March 9, 2021 at 5:08 pm #

@MaryV: I concur. The sheer numbers of firearms sold in just the past year should have given pause to Nancy Pelosi and Chuckie Schumer. It isn’t just good old boys with Southern drawls buying all of those AR’s, shotguns, and sidearms. Gun ownership is expanding rapidly right now because nearly everyone sees that the politicians are no longer capable of maintaining what the Constitution calls “domestic tranquility.” I seriously doubt that any of these proposed so-called “common sense gun control” bills would poll over 50% support with the public.

          • elysianfield March 9, 2021 at 5:34 pm #

“f firearms sold in just the past year should have given pause to Nancy Pelosi and Chuckie Schumer. ..”

            Wizard,
It would be foolish to think that either Pelosi or Schumer are ignorant of the issue. We are the truly ignorant, as we seem not to ascertain what their true agenda is. Perhaps nullification, and non compliance is the goal? What would/could be the governmental response?

My guess is that their response would not be benign.

          • MaryV March 10, 2021 at 9:37 pm #

            Agree.

All my traditionally lefty friends have ditched the Democrat party and bought fire arms.

They really do underestimate how aware many are of what’s really going on.

      • Wizard of the Saddle March 9, 2021 at 5:03 pm #

@cbeard: Any attempt at radical gun control by the Dems will most likely be met with nullification by the Alabama State Legislature in one form or another, with said measure being quickly signed by Gov. “Ma” Ivey.

Alabamians put up with a lot of shit from D.C. and the Libtard masses in general, but touch our GD guns and we will plant you deeper in the ground than one of Elon Musk’s boring machines goes. In the Yellowhammer State a man’s shootin’ irons are nearly as sacred, if not more so, than the Crimson Tide football team.

I simply don’t read corruption in either Harry or William. They were both fine young men and thus Harry’s fall is a Tragedy of Shakespearian proportions.

Remember him as a Commander? He wanted to be with his men and said if too big a deal was made about him being a prince then he would just as soon leave it all. So they let him stay in field, but took pains to hide his identity and rank I believe. Prince William served honorably as well, if less dramatically.

Saville was grotesque. But he wouldn’t lay a hand on the princes I assume, not without Charles’ go ahead which I don’t believe would ever be given. They were meant for bigger things than being mere sacrifices or victims. But I admit letting him have any access at all makes one’s skin crawl. Was he ever alone with the boys?

You’re still relying on ‘official stories’ though, given to you from the BBC and whatnot.

None of us know the real story with these people. What I do know are the stories the trafficking survivors tell us, and the connections that people who have worked on this for decades have figured out.

          • Yohannon March 10, 2021 at 11:53 am #

No. I rely on my psychic read of him and logic. Consider: If he was a debauched abuser, would he ever have been taken in by a ruthless climber like Me Gain?

And do you really think Saville abused him? He wouldn’t dare and there is no evidence. Children of Royalty aren’t much to be victims in any case.

Don’t see evil everywhere – even where it isn’t. There is more than enough real evil to see.

Me Gain is in with the traffickers – she has a high position. I have it on good authority. Make of that what you will, I certainly don’t care. I do not lie about these people. They are who they are.

Typical Truman Show American: “I hate child trafficking! We have to stop the traffickers and put them in prison!”

Me & thousands of others: “Yes, and guess who is in charge? The only people who can. The people who control law enforcement at every level. Guess who that is?”

TTSA: “But I LIKE the royals and my politician idols! So you LIE!!”

She is sexy. Good body, slinky like the hottest of Asian girls, despite not being Asian. Face also good. Very symmetrical. He can’t believe he is banging her. Guaranteed. Money plays no role in his mind. He sees only the prize.

Many men have been there before, and there were warning signs with MeGain. Soft porn pics that the RF had to have removed from the Interwebz, dated a porn star, bedpost with many notches. Appears to have daddy issues.

In short, not marriage material. Harry had the unforunate situation of being a very public figure however, and he is unable to detach due to the sex. Tale old as time.

In short, not marriage material. Harry had the unfortunate situation of being a very public figure however, and he is unable to detach due to the sex. Tale old as time.

I have a somewhat different take.

I think Charles knew as soon as Diana was pregnant that Harry was not his – I’m not certain there was much horizontal dancing going on in the marriage. I’m sure the DNA tests were done to confirm this.

As soon as William reached his majority – and pumped out a kid or two to ensure the Windsor bloodlines – Harry was on the outer, especially as he had hooked up with a POC – will their babies be dark-skinned?? The horror!

And Harry was no angel beguiled by a foxy lady – he’d been around the block once or twice himself. He wouldn’t have seen Meghan’s past as a “warning” – but rather attractive. She is little different to many other beautiful women of her age and style.

As soon as they cemented the marriage, they made plans to get out – there was no real future there … even though Harry (I believe) made efforts to be a good, hard-working junior royal. And his tours of duty in Afghanistan, plus his work for injured and disabled veterans – certainly have given him pretty good cred.

Anyway – they moved to a mansion in Santa Barbara, joined the Hollywood aristocratic class, and presumably will live happily ever after.

The Oprah interview was compelling … but a lot was not talked about. Oprah was a good choice – being the nearest thing to American Royalty.

And there are more genteel ways of netting yourself a prince, like having very aspiring parents who send you to a fancy school, then on to St Andrews University, where you know one is going.

And a bit of soft porn for a charitable cause can catch a prince’s eye too. And did.

But you can rest assured that your fragrant ascent to the monarchy from the middle classes will be judged differently, because you’re an English rose and not a mixed-race American.

Because people are like that. And will talk about claws in one case and fragrance in the other. Even though they both kinda lead to the same outcome. ‘Waity Katy’ was about as bad as it got in our gentle tabloid press. Not this time.

And I’m willing to bet that 95% of English people don’t even know they used to have a black king.

It’s a monster movie. They are all monsters, or their naive playthings. I agree with Vlad about Harry. Is he though still unaware of the role in which he’s been cast?

Or is it not possible, even subliminally, that Bonnie Prince Harry is wielding that jumped-up second-hand TV talent to shame those Krauts in Windsor, echoing the way his mother humiliated Buckingham by laying with that sleazy-greasy Arab slimeball?

            It’s prime soap opera.

        • GreenAlba March 10, 2021 at 8:54 am #

I think that pic of the fragrant Ms Knauss needs a proper look.

This isn’t just a bit of ‘soft porn’. The fact that her tits are almost falling out is neither here nor there. Look at his face.

This is a wealthy man, fully dressed, showing you the age and quality of the meat he can afford.

And as if that weren’t crass enough, she’s been draped over a piano, in front of a probably-expensive picture, just so you know how she fits in with his other belongings and accoutrements of wealth.

It’s so utterly vomit-inducing as a picture, that it makes ‘soft porn’ look like Peppa Pig.

But probably not for the hypocrites on here who just want to do some Meghan-bashing. And I don’t even give a toss about her.

          • hmuller March 8, 2021 at 9:05 pm #

Koreans (who traditionally have had a dairy free diet) say Americans smell like over ripe cheese to them. But for olfactory thrills you can’t top riding in a bus full of raw garlic chewers (which they are). If I hadn’t stuck my head out an open window, I would have lost my breakfast.

By the way, I read that in New Guinea it is a very provocative insult to say, “the meat of your mother rots between my teeth.” Them’s fighting words!

Well the low caste Chinese smell like fish to me. So there.

Blacks say we smell like wet dogs….

They often smell bad, worse than wet dogs. There are some tribes in Nigeria who are just abominable, far worse than most Blacks. I got to work with some.

hmuller:” But for olfactory thrills you can’t top riding in a bus full of raw garlic chewers (which they are). If I hadn’t stuck my head out an open window, I would have lost my breakfast.”

I’ve rarely experienced the intense garlic breath when riding crowded busses here. I’d much rather ride public transport here than in the US. I lived car free for many years in DC and took public transport often- I’d rather be squeezed in with Koreans than Wahingtonians. They do love their garlic. In the office they always brush their teeth after lunch and don’t eat the really smelly stuff for lunch. The long distance trains play etiquette announcements and they ask passengers to refrain from smelly food- and any other obnoxious behavior. A normal train car here is quieter than the quiet car on Amtrak. The Koreans mostly take their cell phone conversations in the space between cars. Most every American here says the same thing “The best thing about Korea is the Korean people.” My interactions with the Koreans have been overwhelmingly delightful. Every single commute on DC metro had at least one incident of some totally unnecessary obnoxious behavior on the part of a fellow commuter – part and parcel of life there. I took to bicycling everywhere to avoid it. Here I enjoy taking the bus and train- except the bus from the base crowded with Americans. Even that isn’t as bad as rush hour busses in DC.

OK- two times in my life I’ve seen customers spontaneously give a standing ovation to public servants. Both times it was DC Bus drivers for exhibiting amazing bus driving skills.

          • hmuller March 9, 2021 at 10:38 am #

Jo-G.- Korean society and customs have continued to evolve. I hear there is a lot less raw garlic chewing now than in 1987 – of which I write. In any case I’ll take the garlic chewers over DC ghetto thugs any day.

Yohannon – Just curious. Where do you go to smell low-caste Chinese? Do they mind if you sniff their hair? Just asking for a friend.

Maybe I’ve got brain fog this morning but can someone explain the opening of this post? JHK mentions the bill “waiving federal income taxes for the first $10,200 of unemployment benefits received in 2020 for households earning under $150,000.”

So this benefit targets households earning *under* $150K, yet the issues raised (How does a couple with no jobs and no income earn $150,000 in a year that they were not working? And if they somehow brought in $150,000 anyway, why do they need the support of the US government?) involve households earning *at least* $150K.

    What am I missing here?

    • rube-i-con March 8, 2021 at 1:37 pm #

who knows, maybe the bill means you earnt up to 150K in 2019 & got unemployment in 2020

how many pounds does the US tax code weigh now? over 64 I believe

    • Tekapo March 8, 2021 at 3:23 pm #

I think it’s just legalese – the outcome of legislative drafting that always tries to be bulletproof and leave no loopholes.

Its just possible that a couple (“household”) could have a really good first quarter and take $200K, but then the business stops totally, and they claim unemployment benefits for the rest of the year. It seems they cannot claim the tax break on the first $10,200 of unemployment benefits, at year’s end.

The question of why someone who makes more than $150K requires the support of the federal government is a good one … but it seems human nature that there is no upper limit to how much money you are happy to take in.

    • Anthea March 9, 2021 at 2:01 am #

“..And BLM need look no further than the Derek Chauvin trial in Minnesota, starting today, for an excuse to resume its characteristic activities.”

You gotta love today’s front page of the Wall Street journal, showing two BLM protesters with raised fists. You don’t need a caption on the photo to understand the implied threat “Nice city you have here, Be a shame if something (else) happened to it”. Along those lines, Minnesota Attorney general Keith Ellison is reportedly bringing out the big guns in his prosecution of Chauvin, even going so far as to tap several big name former Obama admin officials who are now in private practice. Can you say drum head court?

    • BackRowHeckler March 8, 2021 at 2:29 pm #

      “BLM with raised fists”

Yeah they were out today in cities all over the country, in the streets, harassing Whitey. In Louisville they shouted at JHS cheerleaders who were in town for some kind of competition.

      “Breonna Taylor, say her name!”

Cops found a dead body inside Breonna’s car for which she had no explanation, that’s why she was no longer an EMT.

Cuba begins forcing people into Covid camps and administering unproven, possibly dangerous medical treatments:

The tragic irony of Covid oppression is that fear is the biggest factor in weakening the immune system, which then weakens protection against viruses and other morbidities, Covid or not.

Fear causes one’s autonomic nervous system to get stuck in sympathetic mode (fight or flight), and, if it stays stuck, worsens to dorsal vagal shutdown mode (freeze).

In other words, Covid “ameliorations” and legal rewrites, in effect, cause Covid, or make Covid worse in those who already have it.

I’m reminded of an old saying: when you think you’ve plumbed the full depth of human evil, you then realize, if you keep going, that, horror of horrors, you’ve barely scratched the surface.

One of our resident LARPs will soon be around to tell you how they once had to get a vaccine to go to Rwanda or something, so forced vaccination of all populations around the globe in order to be able to work, travel, or do just about anything is totally normal. As is continuing to wear an ineffective piece of cloth over your piehole even after getting vaccinated.

            All normal.

“I got the jab, I’m fine.” Famous last words.

In any case, from what I’ve read, the health trouble comes later, down the line a bit, as it wreaks havoc on the immune system.

We shall see. In the meantime, the full court press campaigns to convince the easily duped into getting the jab continues.

I suppose I will be a leper/pariah living on the outskirts of society at some point. I’m prepared for that.

I should add this, too, as I could have written it myself. This is at the core of all of the bullshit we are living through:

“A globally-hegemonic system (e.g., global capitalism) has no external enemies, as there is no territory ‘outside’ the system. Its only enemies are within the system, and thus, by definition, are insurgents, also known as ‘terrorists’ and ‘extremists.’ These terms are utterly meaningless, obviously. They are purely strategic, deployed against anyone who deviates from GloboCap’s official ideology … which, in case you were wondering, is called ‘normality’ (or, in our case, currently, ‘New Normality’) … [t]he new breed of ‘terrorists’ do not just hate us for our freedom … they hate us because they hate ‘reality.’ They are no longer our political or ideological opponents … they are suffering from a psychiatric disorder. They no longer need to be argued with or listened to … they need to be ‘treated,’ ‘reeducated,’ and ‘deprogrammed,’ until they accept ‘Reality.’”

The Chauvin trial started today. I watched the motion to include the 3rd Degree murder charge with the other two charges. There wasn’t any jury selection yet, perhaps tomorrow. From the legalese I was able to gather, the prosecution must sit another jury if these charges are run separately. But I’m no attorney, so I’m not exactly firm on that.

It was interesting on several levels. The State seemed– and maybe I was taking too much into the body language of the prosecution– appeared to be nervous. Again, maybe it was just a bad read of body language, but that’s one thing that I took away from the motion.

Cahill appears to be a competent judge. The collegial nature of the hearing today was interesting. We often don’t get to see what happens in the workings of courtrooms, so to have Cahill get both sides opinions about topics was intriguing. I get the sense that Cahill has some skepticism towards the prosecution. We will see.

Got to hear some good examples of the southern Minnesotan accent, the longer Canadian vowels, mixed with some hard R sound pronouncement, that almost sound like Irish-English. This accent only generally gets stronger & more visible the further north you go. Particularly after alcohol consumption. Southern friends of mine said I sounded like Scotty from Star Trek after a night at the bar LOL

“Pay close attention to events unspooling. Get ready for trouble. It’s coming every which way…”

It’s hard to pay attention to anything when one is oxygen-deprived from wearing pieces of cloth over one’s breathing holes for the last 12 months while looking down at the little black box of joy and ecstasy with mesmerizing pixels while bobbing one’s head to-and-fro to degrading noise and dissonant racket coming from ear buds while masquerading as today’s modern musical soundtrack of personal, moral, and social degradation.

Add to that the contemporary standard of losing our ability of any kind of reasonable attention span beyond seven seconds before one’s cognition begins to fully shut down and dissipate into nothingness.

Close Attention gives way to Ignorant Bliss… the soundtrack of our times.

It’s plain that the US will not be able to avoid hyperinflation. While it’s unlikely tha we will do so, there IS another way to handle hyperinflation. Ancient societies canceled the debts of their citizens about every 50 years, known as a ‘jubilee year.’
How would this work out in the modern US?
Suppose that the US Govt decides to cancel several classes of major debt– Mortgages, School Loans, Car loans and Credit Cards.
Taxpayers submit their loan balances to IRS on their income tax forms.
IRS is empowered to pay off these debts in full based on the information submitted on the forms. IRS can do this, because all US money is made up from thin air at this point anyway.
In addition, everyone including people with no loans or mortgages gets $200,000.00 to do with what they please.

What will be the result of this massive cancellation of debt?
All US Citizen taxpayers will be debt free and own their property.
Trillions of new dollars will flood the monetary system, causing a collapse in the value of the dollar.
New currency will need to be re-issued– Blue-backs for greenbacks, hopefully based on something with intrinsic value–beets, perhaps.
    Bankers will be unhappy.

    How will this help?
It is the same end result we will eventually reach on our current path, but without the insurrections, warfare, businessmen pushed out of high windows, etc.
I doubt the Bank-sters will agree to it, but they should give it some thought, since it leaves them alive at the end of the process….

    • akmofo March 8, 2021 at 8:20 pm #

Bankers are accountants. They own nothing. The people who actually own the debt are you and I. We are both the owners and the ownees of debt. It is created by us, for us.

Without a credit system, everything in the modern world collapses.

The real purpose of the ancient debt jubilee was to free slaves so that they could reproduce and maintain a steady population for the market.

Day one of the Chauvin trial (jury selection began), and we already have our first fatal shooting in “George Floyd Square” already.

Not likely related in any way to the trial per se, but ominously portends of things to come in the approaching weeks.

      LOL. Idiocracy is real.

      • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 9, 2021 at 11:37 am #

        Damn right.

“Activists” have for nine months now literally concrete barricaded the surrounding blocks, just like the CHAZ in Seattle.

Police/fire/rescue essentially have to ask permission to respond to calls inside “The Square”.

The businesses are basically protected prisoners.

Reporters have to ask to be allowed in to interview business owners or residents (and then when denied, must resort to sneaking in through back garages).

The “community leaders” running this alternate government have also demanded (successfully, mind you) city money to “conduct their operations” unimpeded.

I have some woke friends in the area that actually took their kids last fa to “see where it happened”, to try to bring them some community awareness. Like going to The Alamo. Guessing they won’t be repeating that journey to Mecca again, now that it’s devolving into, well, whatever the hell it is now.

I tend to be of the mind that Chauvin is probably a piece of shit. I don’t know, but he fits a profile I am familiar with from my days editing materials for a cop union. Could be wrong tho.

Granted, there are not yet local warlords riding around in jeeps with rifles, extorting businesses in exchange for their protection like happened in CHAZ. But give it time.

        • MaryV March 9, 2021 at 12:19 pm #

CHAZ murders (3 black men) never made the news, strangely enough. Because police weren’t responsible. In fact, they refused to let the police in to help.

” I keep reminding people that everything the petty tyrants are doing to the populace are in direct violation of the Nuremburg Principles. ”

    Ugh , I remember distinctly after 911 people saying , ” Let’s go torture people , yeah !! ”

    And then , the next thing you know , it’s , ” Gee , they’re torturing people at Abu Graib ?? ”

( Playing amateur shrink for a moment , I suspect what really bothered a lot of people was that in many of those infamous photos the star is a woman.

Funny how right – wingers and leftists BOTH don’t really like the notion that a girl could indeed do Joseph Mengele’s job. ……. )

And , now , it’s like Abu Graib never happened.

They say notions of an after life are wishful thinking .

It looks to me like living in the moment , though , can be quite morally and ethically convenient indeed.

Eh , they had it coming ! 😛

Whose bright fucking idea was it to replace pleated miniskirts with straight up and down , un-pleated , form – fitting skirts ?

    ” Gee , do I look fat ? ”

Unless you are a stick girl , you sure do honey , after you made that stupid fucking fashion choice.

That is , you either look fat , or you look kinda like a girl with an excess of testosterone.

The only reason you look the least bit feminine now are the gaudy / cheery colors and the hair bow.

( I gotta make a random fashion comment occasionally. )

” The people who actually own the debt are you and I. We are both the owners and the ownees of debt. It is created by us, for us. ”

    Pfft !

If that’s really true , then how about finally handing over the address, and the house keys , of my McMansion in Liechtenstein.

    * Tap , tap , taps her foot *

Any time now would be nice.

” Without a credit system, everything in the modern world collapses. ”

It looks like a Ponzi scheme to me. Loked like a Ponzi scheme to me in 1985.

    Hasn’t collapsed yet though.

And somehow that thought depresses me , rather than reassuring me.

” The real purpose of the ancient debt jubilee was to free slaves so that they could reproduce and maintain a steady population for the market.”

    Well , granted , I was not around 300 or 500 years ago , so it’s conjecture.

On the other hand , I HAVE lived 50 + years , and I DID experience things , and maybe there ARE parallels to the past ?

Like , it seems to me that it was actually SO MUCH THE BETTER that Marxist – Leninist dogma was so blatantly , unavoidably , undeniably , bullshit , and that outward conformity had to so frankly be maintained by brute force.

It is SO MUCH THE WORSE that Americans and Westerners in general believe their own propaganda.

SO MUCH THE WORSE that — as long as you don’t actually shoot people ( or at least shoot any people that the MSM makes any stink about ) — you can fuck people 500 ways to Sunday , and the victims themselves will call it mercy and restraint.

    Slavery vs freedom ?

Well , in the old days you were called an ” employee ” .

Now you are called an “associate. ” ( As if you are actually now partners , equals , buddies. )

But it sure seems to me that as an ” associate ” you actually get paid less , have shittier benefits , and actually have less general freedom to maneuver , than you had as a poor , benighted , slighted , ” employee “.

So I’m not so sure about the difference between “slave” and “free ” .

    • akmofo March 8, 2021 at 11:32 pm #

I think your difficulty in comprehension is that you’re confusing debt/credit and money. Credit is just an open account in a ledger. Money you have to work for. In the case of the FED Reserve, that work is done by petrodollars, that is, OIL.

Yasser Arafat was famous for doodling little boys and then having them killed. Vatican propaganda tried to hide this, but the truth got out. Yasser Arafat was a genuine Palistani hero according to Vatican propaganda, though he was born and raised in Egypt. A Palistani hero that was on the payroll of the Vatican/KGB to mass murder Jews. Nothing is coincidence. Nothing is by accident. Everything is planned.

        • KesaAnna March 9, 2021 at 12:29 am #

Today , in America , I think it safe to say generally that the boom in private schools , religious schools , and home – schooling is a right – wing or conservative phenomena.

They will tell you , basically , that public schools don’t really give a fuck about teaching Johnny to read , write , do sums , and lift himself up into self – sufficiency.

No , it’s all a social engineering project , where , at best , Johnny is no more than an afterthought.

          So far , so good.

But , now , let’s turn the clock back to 1920.

In the 1920’s right – wing groups , like the KKK for example , in many states , tried to pass laws that would out – right prohibit private schools , religious schools , and home – schooling.

or , to render private schools , religious schools , and home – schooling so hide abound with laws and regulations so as to make them impractical or plain impossible .

Why did they want to do this ?

The assertion was that private schools , religious schools , and home – schooling were anti – American , and a threat to the ( mythological ) common culture .

Again , notice the emphasis was not on teaching Johnny to read , write , do sums , and lift himself up into self – sufficiency.

The emphasis really was on control – freak social engineering in which Johnny is no more than a statistic or an abstraction.

          The track record of a hundred years is clear ;

Left or right , the public ” school” is not about your kid.

          Fuck your kid.

All of which is to say , to me , a much more interesting question is why are heterosexuals still handing their children over to these evil fucks a hundred years later ?

” When did PussyAnna become so bamboozled by Vatican propaganda that she could not properly discern Right from Left? ”

It seems to me that the only thing that confuses me , is that if you want to lobby for Israel , then why don’t you simply do that ?

    For example ;

    I lobby for secession.

    So ;

    Fuck the United States

    See ?

It’s not really particularly complicated or difficult.

My guess would be you are another one of these types who wants to keep on milking the American tax payer milch cow.

So my ” hatred ” of their Star Spangled Banner is actually far less a drain on Americans , or the stuff their shackles are , and would be , made of , than your Tape Worm love.

    But that’s speculation.

    • akmofo March 9, 2021 at 1:55 am #

When did Italian Socialists become right wing? When Mussolini finally managed to get the trains in Italy to run on time? Why do you think this confusion is so wide spread, PussyAnna? Is it because of confused people like you?

But why are you changing the subject? Who cares about your hatred for the Star Spangled Banner? You’re in Germany aren’t you? Your obvious instinctive love is for the master race. Why else would black cow be in Germany? But who’s milking who, PussyAnna?

      • akmofo March 9, 2021 at 2:01 am #

        • akmofo March 9, 2021 at 2:20 am #

Btw, I call you PussyAnna, because as you know, Kesa is German for a Cat. And in common English a Cat is a Pussy. How that relates to a black cow milking the welfare social benefits of white Germans is something PussyAnna you will need to explain.

          • Night Owl March 9, 2021 at 2:53 am #

In what part of Germany is Kesa German for cat? I have been here for a long time and the only word for cat that I have ever heard is Katze, dialects not withstanding.

Be creative. See how many different ways you can spell Nite Oul. Admittedly our Ebonics friend will have the advantage over you.

          • Night Owl March 9, 2021 at 3:30 am #

            It was a simple question.

            Can you answer it?

          • akmofo March 9, 2021 at 6:11 am #

I gave you a simple answer. You refuse to hear it, that’s your problem, isn’t it. What is more, the same word is used in Russian. Russian being a more subtle and elegant language distinguishes between the male and the female, with Kot being the male and Kesa being the female feline.

Btw, how’s your investigation as to how many Jews were hunted down from all over Europe and mass murdered by your saintly countrymen going? You were keen to answer that question the other day. Did you come up with a number yet?

While you’re at it, find out where all the financing of anti-Jewish/anti-Israeli NGOs providing false testimonies is coming from. By my accounting it is mainly from Germany. How come? You think you’ll come out cleaner by making up dirt on Israelis?

          • Night Owl March 9, 2021 at 7:07 am #

            Rude now, too.

            Still no answer.

Show me a source that says Kesa is a German word. I will even accept obscure dialects.

          • akmofo March 9, 2021 at 8:36 am #

How am I rude? Did I say anything that wasn’t so?

            https://www.ngo-monitor.org/funder/germany/

Kesa is just another way to spell Katze. The basic root letters are preserved: K-TZ where the TZ sound is slightly modified to S. When you’re not educated in ignorance and actually understand languages you can immediately see these things.

PussyAnna simply slightly changed the original spelling of the word for her use the way people have done for millennia. Aint dat a hoot!

          • Night Owl March 9, 2021 at 8:42 am #

Yeah, so you have no examples.

        • akmofo March 9, 2021 at 2:45 am #

Some more trivia for you, PussyAnna, while your brain squirms an answer as to why you are in Germany.

The English word Cat/Kat and the German word Katze/Kesa are both derived from the Hebrew word for Cat, Chatul/Khatul. The word Khatul is derived from the Hebrew word Khitul, which means a Wraparound or a Dipper. PussyAnna, you being a confessed grownup social worker, now surely understand where the modern meaning of the word Pussy originates.

          • MaryV March 9, 2021 at 12:29 pm #

PUssy is not accepted as an alternative word for cat in the US any more. It hasn’t been for 20+ years.

It’s solely to represent a certain female sex organ.

            Period.

You will not find any person saying, “My pussy got outside and ate a bird” or putting up “Lost Pussy” signs in the neighborhood.

It isn’t used for cat, it isn’t.

It is also used to describe a wimp or a coward.

          • MaryV March 9, 2021 at 12:30 pm #

            “solely” should be “mostly”

Fascism is both right wing and left wing. We simply don’t think like that. It’s not hard. Israel has both left wing and right wing parties. And typically both are ardent patriots. I think you get it, but you don’t want to lose your weapon of confusion to use against us. In other words, you’re not confused but rather confusing.

        • akmofo March 9, 2021 at 12:11 pm #

          Fascism = Italian Socialism
          Nazism = German Socialism
          Bolshevism = Russian Socialism

They’re all variations on Communism. None of them are even closely Conservative or Libertarian or Right Wing. They are all “Progressive” ideologies, and as I said many times, marketing variants of Vatican Communism.

The Israeli Likud Party is a Nationalist Party with strong Conservative ideals and a Capitalist free market libertarian economic platform. The Israeli Likud Party is actually Right Wing, but not your European Fascist/Nazi/Bolshevik Socialist/Communist pretenders promoted by Vatican propaganda.

          • Yohannon March 9, 2021 at 2:11 pm #

No, wrong. Communism (like late stage Capitalism) is international and seeks to undermine nations by undermining pride in them. Fascism and Nazism were all about nationalism and pride. Wrong as wrong can be.

Likud = Israeli Socialism. Communist Internationalists? Uh, no – as you well know.

          • akmofo March 10, 2021 at 7:43 am #

            No.

It’s about who has control over social political and economic power, the legitimate voting electorate or an illegitimate oligarchic gov mafia. Vatican gov mafia tyrannical central control or the decentralized democratic wishes of the public.

Israeli Socialism died with the Labour Party. Today that Party might not even get enough votes to elect a single MK to the Israeli Knesset. They are finished and completely ideologically bankrupt with the Israeli public.

Is it true that a harbinger of War is often a huge blow out in the Money Supply?

I think that Hitler’s excessive money printing in 1930’s Germany created a huge demand for new investment opportunities to absorb all of the excess money? War became an important investment opportunity? In the US now, there’s a lot of money printing and foreign wars? They may also invest the money in China which may be scared of the US? One can created investment opportunities by pushing “Fear”?

    • Pucker March 9, 2021 at 2:47 am #

The British banks, like JP Morgan, are very clever. To set the stage for the US Civil War and to roll back finally the American Revolution in a revanchist take back of their American colonies, they managed to get the US off the gold standard and for Lincoln to adopt the greenback paper currency. The increase in the money supply made War very attractive to the bankers as a very profitable investment opportunity to soak up the excess money supply. After the US Civil War, the US drops the Greenback and goes back on the gold standard. President Grant pays off the London bankers for the war debt in gold. Pretty sweet….

      • Tekapo March 9, 2021 at 3:29 am #

The British banks, like JP Morgan, are very clever.

You lost me at the first line … JP Morgan is not a British bank, and doesn’t even have a British background. Please try again and re-submit. So far you are a D-.

        • Pucker March 9, 2021 at 5:50 am #

JP Morgan is a British bank, or at least it was in the 19th Century. JP Morgan started out with 2 principal offices: one in New York City and one in London. In the 19th century, the London office was more important and more powerful. In the 20th century, the relative importance and power shifted to the New York office. In the 19th Century, the center of world finance was London. The British financed the US Civil War by buying the war bonds. Lincoln was desperate for a Union victory because all of the Confederate army victories were driving down the price of the war bonds and the London bond holders were freaking out. JP Morgan’s yacht on the Hudson River flew 3 flags: the American flag below the British flag, with the Skull & Cross Bones pirate flag on top of them all. True story.

JP Morgan’s mistress was a Mulatto girl named Belle Green.

          Read “The House of Morgan”.

Yes it’s true. Joe Biden is an empty husk. It seems that he really doesn’t know where he is or what he is doing at any particular time. Kamala is even emptier still but knows where she is and what she is doing making her infinitely more dangerous than the nuclear code carrying (for now?) Husk Pop. The surreal nature of their presence in Wilmington? or 1600 Pennsylvania Ave?, the “secret” shadow Susan Rice/Hussein Obama government pulling the strings in the background, the bizarre brigades of BlueAnons throughout politics and the media spouting whatever mythologies of the day to distract from the first two, and the moralizing and evangelical hedonists are basically flashing beacons telling you that our society just fell off the cliff. Maybe we are rolling down the slope bouncing around or we could just be plummeting right down into the abyss. Either way, we are not bounded by reality. In fact, I would submit that our civilzation’s current psychotic break is 1000 times more profound than any medieval hysteria or witch trial precisely because we have so much more accumulated scientific and technological knowledge at our disposal and still knowingly choose to be blind, deaf, and dumb. It sure does seem like Oprah, Harry, and Meghan are at the top of Big Rock Candy Mountain right about now. How much more substantially racist are they than the dreaded “KKK”? All easily interchangeable with any of the old antebellum plantation owners as they seem to love romanticizing the old caste system and the associated myriad levels of virtue and victimhood that apparently still gives them their purpose for being and existing all these years later. Nothing new under the Sun I guess. But could it all implode by Spring? Well maybe another stimulus will keep it at bay for another season says DC (lol).

Certified proof. 🙂 Really? So the the numerous and easily accessible videos of Mr. B forgetting what he is saying, who he is talking to, and where he is are not convincing enough for you? Or do you really think all such things are just right-wing deep fakes to make Mr. B look bad. Either way he was never the real frontrunner. He is a stepping stone. And he was probably paid lots and lots of moolah (or some other kickback) to do exactly what he is doing. And btw, civilization is contextual. Your civilized and my civilized may be totally different things. Remember diversity and all, or did you already forget your own philosophies and preachings?

Remember when tekapo used to be coolly “objective’ vis-a-vis the Steal, trying to win posters over by his amazing powers of legal scrutiny?

The last week or two, after increasingly embarrassing posts which have produced bare-faced hypocrisy after bare-faced hypocrisy, by simply having his owns words thrown back at him, have produced another level of reactive nastiness.

“Deal with all manner of issues in a civilized way” interspersed with nasty ad feminems and laughable lies (“I am not … pro-Biden”).

        Tekapo

Since we’re nearly at the end of a thread, and I’ve got what is normally that Friday afternoon feeling, perhaps I may point out that all nonsense is errant, by definition. Perhaps you mean ‘arrant nonsense’. 🙂

Although tautology is not a mortal sin, otherwise people would not persist in saying ‘white anglo-saxon protestant’, when they could say ‘wealthy anglo-saxon protestant’, which is actually what they mean, rather than dirt-poor white Scots-Irish, for example, or ASP, which would do just as well.

Putting up those two candidates was a huge insult to the American people, but obviously too many didn’t see it that way. Biden’s condition is evident, and a Harris presidency is more than likely. I guess people just don’t mind a black woman president sneaking in the back door, which was probably the goal to begin with.

Right, with the shadow government it may not matter much, since from the beginning these two were seen as credible and controllable,
      obeisant to Obama.

And Lord help us, look at what’s happening on the border.

The election was stolen. Your three masks are interfering with your brain functioning.

If the election were stolen, why wasn’t there a single state official, state election board, state court, or federal court, that agrees with you? Most of these were Republican as well.

They were all blindsided or anti-Trump, were they?

          • Raindogs March 10, 2021 at 10:15 am #

Yes, they were all in on the steal and Trump is the only thing pure left in this country.

They truly have worms in their brains these clods.

          • Tekapo March 11, 2021 at 1:35 am #

Well … I’m not sure they’re all clods, or that they have worms in their brains, but it seems to me that all the institutions (checks & balances) that conservatives would normally support have not come up with one single sausage.

It’s a very peculiar set of affairs. The Democrats might have stolen the election hook, line & sinker – who really knows – but if they did then it seems definitely odd that they weren’t caught out somewhere.

You do not 300,000 dodgy votes into a county counting station without someone not in the pocket of Team Biden or the Deep State noticing.

      • SoftStarLight March 9, 2021 at 12:16 pm #

Yes, the election was stolen. But unfortunately there were millions of people who did vote for the Biden/Harris ticket and thus sealed the doom. If they would have gotten very very few votes the cheating could probably not overcome the dearth of votes. And I also agree with you that the shadow state has been working basically unhindered and so the steal was that much easier.

        Border!? What border!? 🙁

        • Tekapo March 11, 2021 at 1:38 am #

Yes, the election was stolen. But unfortunately there were millions of people who did vote for the Biden/Harris ticket and thus sealed the doom.

Not only did millions of people vote for Biden/Harris, but more people voted for them than for Donald Trump … he was not a successful or popular president – might take some time for the true believers to accept that.

We still choose to be ignorant peasants even with so much of the knowledge of the world at large at our fingertips. People gravitate to the candy in the Big Rock Candy mountain, and they don’t care about much else.

Sadly those of us that do enjoy delving into the available information are left aware of what’s going on but pretty much helpless to do anything about it.

Choosing to be deaf, dumb & blind seems to be Stunning and Brave ™ now, to the blue anons and wokies. SOmething to be proud of.

Remember how a few years back, the trend of stupid = good, smart = bad? You weren’t cool if you were smart or a bookworm, etc. Then the smarties fought back, and became popular; but they were fake smarties. Only book smart, but lacking in common sense.

That would be the academics running the show now. Woe is us.

You think we don’t see this? You think we don’t know this? You think we don’t know who’s financing this staged propaganda?

Over half a million Syrians were killed over the last decade, how many times did you see actual war footage presented in the media? What, a dozen times, maybe, in so many years? No Jews, no News!

Camel-aaahhh is reported to be conducting all foreign policy meetings and “the guy who works in that building over there” is running the military so everything is working as planned, The Lumpenproletariat who voted this mess into power has got what they want & is about to, as H.L. Mencken said, get it good and hard.

    • JohnAZ March 9, 2021 at 11:01 am #

      Yup!

The real problem is that the Lumpenproletariat, the gimme gang, have no sense of economics at all. They have no concept of money or where it comes from, that dollars represent goods produced, or manhours. To them, money just shows up, that no one needs to earn anything. The gimme gang is currently the majority of Americans, so get used to the Uniparty, they are going to be around for awhile.

The lack of smarts about money and work is exactly why the US is falling off its cliff. Think about it, the rest of the world has been decades behind us in economic development. So, our answer is to bring the rest of the world here. Then wonder why our work ethics goes down the toilet.

The real enemy of America and its future is not China, Russia or any foreigner. It is the Democratic Party and it legions of dumb asses that are sending this country into a tail spin. Election of a Uniparty Democratic government was a death knell for America. The Lumpenproletariat are in control now and the madness and mayhem are going to increase as jobs disappear and more LP are imported through the border. This country is done, a zombie just lurching along.

A little less than half of the country understand this. Right now, Trump is probably the only man who understands the full impact of what is going on. If the GOP lurches left and re-integrates the RINOs, we are done, the entire purpose of the Trump wing of Patriots will be to either convince the mob that their path is disastrous, which I doubt because that would indicate a presence of intelligence that does not exist. Balkanization should be on the agenda, peaceably I hope.

Extrapolation is scary. Trying to figure out the future using trend lines shows a path that will tear the country asunder. And it will be led by the Deep State being led by the Democratic Party, being led by the globalist financial boys.

Who do you think is financing the caravans and buying all those Biden T shirts?

      • Yohannon March 9, 2021 at 11:56 am #

Once you control everything, especially the printing presses of money, life looks different. Certainly the “economy” or Art of the House. You realize you don’t need all these servants now that you have machines. They’re just using up your resources, eating you out of house and home. They have to be gotten rid of. That’s what the Great Reset is all about, fundamentally.

And you don’t need all these nations for the same reason.

        Etymology of Economy:

late 15th century (in the sense ‘management of material resources’): from French économie, or via Latin from Greek oikonomia ‘household management’, based on oikos ‘house’ + nemein ‘manage’. Current senses date from the 17th century.

      • SoftStarLight March 9, 2021 at 12:35 pm #

John. You may want to consider that the Republicans are actually more guilty than the Democrats in letting the country fall off the cliff. When have the Republicans actually ever done anything to reduce the flow of immigrants into this country? Hmmm. Never really. Trump himself said he wanted more immigrants than ever before to come to the country. Just legally. So the Republicans are extra eager to replace us and they are not going to move off off that position whatsoever. They are racing to demonstrate in fact that they love everybody and want everybody to thrive, but not so much for just regular White Americans. The constant bashing of the gimmes and lack of money know how among the gimmes is a ritualistic beating of a dead horse. The vast “gimme” class has been for a long time engineered. Why don’t they teach kids how to manage money and basic business principles in school? Because they don’t want people generally to understand money. That is their world and they ultimately want to own everything. I will consistently contend that you are attacking the victim and letting the perpetrator go free. Trump is just as much guilty of balkanizing the country as anyone else.

        • JohnAZ March 9, 2021 at 2:13 pm #

          SSL

You will notice that I constantly refer to the Deep State in my discussion. The Deep State is both parties. I rail against the Dems because they are the hook the international crowd has in our country. And you are wrong about Trump, he knows these evil people, he wanted to fight them. But, and a big but, he did not stand a chance as this country pre-Trump, was almost entirely Leftist, due to thirty years of Deep State rule. Trump was wishful thinking by the people who had been hurt by Obama. He was hated by the Elite just like they despise the working folk. They were scared to death of what he might do as a second term, and they did whatever was necessary to make sure it did not happen. What you are seeing with Biden right now is what would have happened in 2017 if HC had won.

You are right about the Deep State GOP, Bush was very pro-immigration. They, both sides, just seem to want the cheap labor to stream in.

I attack the people because they are hoodwinked by these cutthroats and keep putting them into office. The people are trading their independence and liberty for supposed security from the Deep State. The people are getting lazy and want the good life without having to work for it. It is the people that have been duped by these political con artists in DC. I blame the people because they are the source of the problem and have become sheeple in a world of Elitist wolves. I blame the minorities for dividing themselves from the mainstream and allowing the elite to manipulate them. I blame the Liberal Whites for believing the BS that comes out of the Deep State. I really blame the kids for believing the really outrageous stuff they hear from the academic Left.

So yes, I blame the people first and foremost. They have done it to themselves and deserve what is coming.

As for me, I am considering options that have nothing to do with this country, this group of people. They are no longer my fellow Americans, just a group of gimme artists.

          • SoftStarLight March 10, 2021 at 10:00 am #

Well that is just the thing. The problem with the minorities is that they never could or would totally integrate. The model itself is incorrect. It was always a foolish idea to believe that a country could be an ethnic “melting pot”. The whole point of immigration has basically been to break up and dissolve the country and it has worked spectacularly. Also, IMO you are overlooking human nature. Most people are going to go along to get along. That is just the thing about people. Most people are simply naturally sheeple. They require proper guidance which of course isn’t going to happen in a society where corporate profits and material gain are the only measures of whether or not someone is prosperous. And it isn’t like there is any attempt to have an uplifting culture. Rather in most things we see it is always a race to the bottom. So yes, people are responsible for their actions for sure. But I think you are ignoring human nature.

naturally, the vast majority are liberals since they are living a lie of false achievement

there are some very good women pilots on aircraft that don~t require extreme physical ability – thanks to the men who built them and the technology that runs them

In Russian a small kitten is called Kiska, with Kisa for an adolescent feline, and Koshka for the adult feline.

You can see how the root sounds or consonants are basically retained from language to language.

        Hebrew: K-T-L
German: K-TZ or K-S (both T and S are dental consonants and often interchanged)
        Russian: K-S

yes it is easy to see the consonantal coherency throughout various languages

i believe that the Urgermanic words ~father ~ and ~mother~ ultimately derive from protoindoeuropean

          ~pata~
          ~mata~

          pata-pater(noster)-vater-father…

            Yup.

The modern German Katze is likely derived from the medieval German/Yiddish. The Yiddish word is Ketzele and retains the full 3 root letters K-T-L from the original Hebrew KhaTuL

Are you so self-obsessed that you pay attention to nothing?

Kesa lives in Appalachia. She was born in East Germany while her (engineer) parents were working there on post-war rebuilding funded by the West (*I think*, re the funding, although I try to pay attention somewhat better than you).

She was a call girl in her 20s, in the US. A calculated decision to pay off her mortgage faster, she said.

She is around 54. At 48 she became an official Roman Catholic. So she’s been a Catholic for about six years and a call girl for about three. And she will happily use the experience of those nine years – out of 54 – to batter people over the head with her new-found (or latent/dormant) moral probity and her absolute assurance of their lack of it. Quite often me.

She often makes allusions to people called the Brady Bunch, who are a mystery to me, but whom I take to be a souped-up version of The Waltons. Possibly.

Why, if her new truth is so blindingly obvious, she hung about so many decades before properly embracing it is not for me to know.

When she’s not attacking me with her amazing moral probity, I quite like Our Lady of the Appalachians. Some of the time.
          She will hate that. Haha.

I hope you’ve caught up now. You’re welcome.

And don’t dismiss the fact that KesaAnna’s posts are highly entertaining and contain some real pearls of wisdom based in the School of Hard Knocks.

Being born in East Germany and moving to Appalachia as a young girl gives her a unique perspective … true, you can say anything on here, but to me she sounds authentic.

Millennials, also known as Generation Y (or simply Gen Y), are the demographic cohort following Generation X and preceding Generation Z. Researchers and popular media use the early 1980s as starting birth years and the mid-1990s to early 2000s as ending birth years, with 1981 to 1996 being a widely accepted defining range for the generation.[1]

Most millennials are the children of baby boomers and early Gen Xers;[2] millennials are often the parents of Generation Alpha.[3] wiki

That’s so odd – I thought it was going the other way, where students get to demand what they want and get professors fired for the least little infraction (e.g., dissent or disagreement with the current authoritarian dictates; see: Mark Crispin Miller etc.).

Maybe the Pacific NW is doing the opposite of the east coast? Hmmm.

      • Soul Forensics March 9, 2021 at 4:11 pm #

        MaryV,

The students demanding what they want means they get to override any remnants of objective criteria as a pedagogical approach or device in which to assess information. IOW, students are only empowered when they accept the Woke agenda, and either parrot it, or advocate and prosecute for it when needed (which, in this case, you’re right in that they get what they want).

        • MaryV March 9, 2021 at 4:24 pm #

Yes, and when the administrations comply, then they force that crap on the professors. It seems that profs don’t have much choice – they can’t fight the wokie agenda, and so many get on board and actually become antiracism + trans agenda champions. It’s horrifying… (I work at a community college).

Gregory Hood, American Renaissance, March 9, 2021

Weddings are usually cause for celebration, and royal weddings are cause for national rejoicing. Even we colonials are fascinated by the British royal family. In 2014, when King Felipe VI succeeded his father Juan Carlos I of Spain, the crowds were puny compared to the commoners who rejoiced to see Prince William marry Kate Middleton. So many of us are children of the British Empire that when we say “the Crown,” we mean the British crown.

The monarchy is seductive, and there’s a temptation to defend it when leftists attack it. Thus, when Prince Harry married the divorced actress Meghan Markle in 2018, the glee many felt at the monarchy’s humiliation was painful. Al Sharpton called the wedding a blow against white supremacy. Black pundit Melissa Harris-Perry said it was an act of intentional subversion and the true end of the British Empire. The presiding cleric, the black “Episcopalian” Michael Curry, said we should “make of this old world a new world.”

    Bishop Michael Curry
19/05/18 Bishop Michael Curry delivering the sermon at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The Bishop said he felt the presence of slaves during the royal nuptials in St George’s Chapel. (Credit Image: © Owen Humphreys / PA Wire via ZUMA Press)

The perennially hopeful thought is that integrating the royal family would help unite the United Kingdom. However, having ignored Enoch Powell and imported the American race problem, the British are learning that integration doesn’t strengthen an institution. It hollows it out and may even destroy it.

The very existence of an institution can be painful to non-whites, and with enough diversity, it becomes meaningless even to the people who created it. As Joe Sobran wrote in 1997, “Western man towers over the rest of the world in ways so large as to be almost inexpressible.” He added that other races still feel subjugated even after the end of Western imperialism. Furthermore:

The white man presents an image of superiority even when he isn’t conscious of it. Superiority excites envy. Destroying white civilization is the inmost desire of the league of designated victims we call “minorities.”

When Meghan Markle married Prince Harry, the Crown granted the former Suits actress the title “Duchess of Sussex.” This is an almost unimaginable honor for someone of her scandalous background. However, the Duchess now claims she had no idea what she was getting into and claims she hadn’t even looked into what the royal family was about before she agreed to marry Harry. After two years, the couple decided to renounce royal duties and move to America to be celebrities.
We’ve now seen embarrassing footage of Prince Harry negotiating with entertainment executives about his wife’s voiceover skills. The quasi-royal couple never concealed its disdain for Donald Trump. Last summer, the Duchess even supported ridiculous hate crime claims from 18-year-old Althea Bernstein, who said four “classic Wisconsin frat boys” tried to set her on fire. After an exhaustive investigation, the police closed the case, saying “the attack, as Bernstein had described it, had not occurred.” Hers was about as plausible as Jussie Smollett’s tall tale.

In the honor culture that the monarchy emerged from, strength, and duty justify power. In our modern culture, claims of victimhood are the path to power. Today, we’re seeing the conflict between victim culture and honor culture.

Queen Elizabeth II does her duty. She carries herself with quiet dignity. It’s her job. She never did anything to reverse the demographic transformation of her realm, but if she had, it might have meant the end of the monarchy. But if the sovereign can’t fight against the physical replacement of her people, there’s no point in having a sovereign. If she has failed, it’s because she held to her duty — never to take a political position — to the end.

Prince Harry’s approach has been different, but he doesn’t lack admirable qualities. He risked his life as a soldier for his country, and his partying and roguish behavior are modest by historic standards. Besides, it’s his older brother who is heir. Prince Harry had more freedom, but he had just one job: Don’t embarrass the family by talking politics.

He then married a woman who seems to treat the royal family as an ATM. The Duchess also understands that her (part) black skin privilege has more real power than any claim to nobility. She can call any criticism “racist” and rally journalists and fellow blacks to her defense. Prince Harry is now just some actress’s second husband.

Older forms of power are like the ritual of Trooping the Colour. The newer, more potent form of power was Meghan Markle (and her husband’s) interview with Oprah Winfrey. Miss Winfrey is another master at building power. Once a member of Jeremiah Wright’s radical congregation, she concealed her own racial grievances until her position was unassailable. Now, she lectures whites about unconscious racism and looks forward to generations of whites dying so that racism will finally end. A black billionaire used her massive platform to give a privileged mulatta a chance to claim she was a victim. Media power trumps royal prerogative.

The White House praised the “courage” the Markles showed by talking about their “struggles with mental health.” Well, what about the commoners? About 7 percent of British children have attempted suicide by 17, a rate that will probably increase because of COVID. In 2013, nine-year-old Aaron Dugmore reportedly killed himself because he was bullied for being white. There was no national reckoning. A 2000 study found that blacks have higher self-esteem than whites, but “anti-racism” campaigners said this proves British society is even more racist than they realized. The Duchess’s pleas for sympathy get a much better hearing than cries for help from British whites.

The Duchess made several charges. She said a member of the royal family worried her son Archie might be too “dark.” Who said that? She wouldn’t say. And so what, anyway? She complained that the Palace will no longer provide security to the family. Why should it? The Duchess and her husband have quit their jobs. Meghan Markle said that she had “suicidal thoughts” but was discouraged from seeking mental health. A stiff upper lip was once an admirable British trait. Today, the best way to deal with pressure is to cry about it on television. Prince Harry chimed in to criticize his father, the future king, saying he “let down” his children.

Why would the couple make these charges, especially with elderly Prince Phillip at death’s door? Intentionally or not, they are creating an independent power base. Louis Phillippe II, Duke of Orleans, tried to curry favor with the French Revolution, even changing his name to “Phillippe Egalité.” Mrs. Markle’s strategy is working; #AbolishTheMonarchy was trending on Twitter after the interview. Labour MP and black woman Diane Abbot asked whether the royal family had learned anything in 25 years and demanded “serious reflection.” Thirteen centuries of duty and tradition may not be able to stand up to one hostile news cycle; the debacle will probably spur republican efforts in Australia and Canada.

The true irony is that this story really is about the privilege of a sacred bloodline. That bloodline is Meghan Markle’s black ancestry. A wealthy white woman complaining that the press is mean probably would win no praise. If Prince Harry had married a white woman and then left the royal family, I expect we’d be reading sneering articles about entitled “Karens.” Mrs. Markle’s (light) black skin means that in intersectional politics, she can’t hold real power despite her fame, wealth, and title. The Duchess doesn’t enjoy the “white privilege” of a rag picker in northern England.

You can criticize the Queen even in the most vulgar terms and face no legal sanctions, but don’t criticize non-whites or you may be arrested. This shows what lèse-majesté really means.

If whites complain about dispossession or say they aren’t racist, it’s “white fragility,” but Meghan Markle’s sense of entitlement is heroic. One non-white columnist wrote: “Women of colour don’t owe England’s angry white men a damn thing. There’s barely one of us who didn’t get where she is today in spite of them.” She got it entirely wrong. Mrs. Markle owes her position to a white man who, before her, had an important place in an ancient British institution. After receiving this gift, she is contemptuous and resentful. And so we get the absurd spectacle of a black billionaire asking a half-black actress with a royal title who lives in a $14.5 million mansion about how hard her life has been.

The affirmative-action aristocrat Meghan Markle is simply an example of a larger trend. When the black classicist Dan-el Padilla Peralta achieved a prominent position in his field — full professor at Princeton — he then called for the entire discipline to be abolished because it promotes “white supremacy.” When non-whites joined the International Society of Anglo-Saxonists, they immediately set about “reforming” it and insisted that even its name was “racist” and had to be changed. When composer Nebal Maysaud became prominent in chamber music, he wrote a piece accusing classical music of being about “whiteness” and therefore “it’s time to let classical music die.” Michael Steele became the head of the Republican National Committee because, in the words of an American Conservative Union spokesperson, he was “a black guy.” Today, Michael Steele and other former black Republican “leaders” enjoy a steady rotation on cable news attacking the GOP for not welcoming blacks.

This is what happens when traditional intuitions are “integrated.” Non-whites welcomed with great fanfare turn on their benefactors. Joe Sobran is probably right. Blacks who suddenly “lead” something whites created can’t help thinking it’s foreign. They feel no duty or loyalty towards something their own people could never have built.

The foundations of monarchy are hierarchy and sacral order. Monarchy can’t pursue “equality” without destroying itself. Perhaps Prince Harry fancies himself another Phillippe Egalité, but he should remember that his democratic friends cut off his head in the end. If Harry had set in motion the abolition of the monarchy, there would be no reason to pay attention to Mr. Markle at all.

There is only one way to win the diversity game. Don’t play. You are racist no matter what you do. If you are a racist for keeping your institutions white, at least you still have institutions.

What of the Crown? I join with black Labour MP Diane Abbott in hoping the royals have learned some lessons, though not the same ones. I hope they have learned that affirmative-action aristocrats are poison. Diversity dilutes the Sovereign’s bond with her people. Royalty can’t compete with celebrities at being celebrities. The Sovereign — and everyone in her family — must be something more than celebrities. The Windsors must change, but not in order to “celebrate diversity.” They should rededicate themselves to their original purpose. Start by stripping Prince Harry of his title and letting him stay on as house husband to a voice actor. Don’t take him back when she leaves him — as she surely will.

The way forward is not modernization but Restoration. The Crown could become the unifying symbol of the Anglosphere by defending the Church of England, British culture, and the accomplishments of Anglo-Saxons everywhere. Andrew Fraser proposed such a solution in The WASP Question:

The monarchy must return to its original and still legitimate role as the voice of Anglo-Saxon history and Christian traditions; recovering WASPs [White Anglo-Saxon Protestants] around the world must pray for a Patriot King who, instead of abetting the divisions of his people . . . will endeavor to unite them, and to be himself the center of this union.

A post-Brexit United Kingdom could retain relevance by strengthening ties with the white nations it created, with the monarch as the unifying symbol. All whites, including non-Protestants or even non-Christians could take pride in this vision. Thomas Jefferson wasn’t much of a Christian, but had great pride in his Anglo-Saxon heritage and the founding stock. He even proposed the Germanic warriors Hengist and Horsa as the symbols on our national seal.

The Windsors are incapable of building such a monarchy. The palace will bunker down while the institution decays. I don’t think we have a stake in “saving” a monarchy that won’t save itself and serves no purpose beyond attracting tourists. The current ruling house proved its uselessness by letting the Markle wedding proceed.

If the Windsors are swept away as a result, conservatives, nationalists, and Traditionalists will no longer be blinded by nostalgia. Something new can be built. That’s better than slow-motion collapse presided over by a figurehead with no power or purpose.

Yoho: Mr Hood at the height of his considerable powers. Not an unusual state for him. I saw Londoners being interviewed back when they first became an item. One middle aged White lady said that she was glad to see the Monarchy finally changing with the times. What a complete misunderstanding of their function. They are supposed to be a bulwark Against Time, and the follies of our democratic age.

Great quote from Kesa’s favorite, Joe Sobran: As Joe Sobran wrote in 1997, “Western man towers over the rest of the world in ways so large as to be almost inexpressible.” He added that other races still feel subjugated even after the end of Western imperialism. Furthermore:

The white man presents an image of superiority even when he isn’t conscious of it. Superiority excites envy. Destroying white civilization is the inmost desire of the league of designated victims we call “minorities.”

Does Kesa agree with this? Probably not. Just wasn’t able to integrate it and so she deleted it. Or never heard it all. But now she has! Will she admit that she wants to destroy the White Man and his world even as Sobran says? Let us wait and see. Five to one, she will not. Even Thwack can’t admit his deepest desire.

“A compromise” would be to keep the Monarchy but delete the Windsors, installing Me Gain as Queen and Harry as the Royal Cuck. Imagine his agony when Markle leaves him. This is a great Tragedy in the making. Get ready ye Playwrights. Don’t wait until it happens, start writing now.

More boringly, she was neither pregnant nor murdered.

She’s not the Black Queen and never will be.

She got the spare, not the heir, and he isn’t even needed for that now.

It amazes me how interested you folks are in royal soap operas.

A few years ago, for the mauvaises langues on here, it was all about how she was too old to ‘give’ Harry children, so how very dare she. There’s always something to keep mean minds turning.

But I agree with you in suspecting that both Harry and his brother are decent young men, as their mother, who loved them, tried to bring them up to be.

She wasn’t pregnant because the hospital where she died said she wasn’t pregnant. In republican Paris.

As Hood mentions, envy is the key emotion in all of this. Also, envy is the only one of the Seven Deadly Sins that creates no pleasure in the sinner. That’s why all the shrieking Wokery are not only joyless, but clinically depressed and filled with rage.

      Also,

“There is only one way to win the diversity game. Don’t play. You are racist no matter what you do.”

      Yes indeed.

On the other hand, these Germans have been UKs royal family since Queen Anne Stewart died and George 1 was brought over from Hanover, Germany to be King in 1714. George’s grandmother had been Charles 1 daughter, thus the link to the Royal Family (Plantagenets, Tudors, Yorks, Lancasters, Stewart’s, House of Hanover, they were all related) George 1 didn’t speak English and didn’t like England. What a way to choose a King. When WW1 rolled around these Royal Germans had to change their surname to ‘Windsor’ because Germany was suddenly the enemy.

Maybe it’s time for these Krauts to go, bring back a York, a Lancaster, a Tudor, or a Plantagenet (if there are any still around)

There are two flying Lancasters left. One in England, and one just outside of Hamilton, Ontario.
There is one about 60 kilometers down the road from me in a little town called Nanton. They restored her.
She can’t fly, but they take her out every once in a while and start up the Merlin engines just for the fun of it.

The growth in the Money Supply has gone parabolic during the pandemic.

Blowing out the Money Supply may set in motion certain pathologies amongst the Elites?

Or, perhaps, the opportunity to blow out the Money Supply may set in motion certain pathologies amongst the Elites?

The Elites can’t resist the temptation to blow out the money supply, so they HAVE to blow out the money supply? Which, in turn, means that they HAVE to start wars to soak up the money?

After they blow out the Money Supply the Generals who only care about their military titles and military careers become important.

War is a huge resource to be pathologically exploited? Similarly, the internet and the digital space is a hugely exploitable resource akin to the “New World” that they will insanely, pathologically exploit to what insane end and outcome only God knows?

Do you agree with Benjamin Franklin that screwing around with older women is preferable to screwing around with younger women because more mature women are morally superior, and they are, thus, edifying?

When I was a kid, I had the hots for Vampirella. I guess that at the time when I was 12 years old that Vampirella was an older woman?

” Great quote from Kesa’s favorite, Joe Sobran: As Joe Sobran wrote in 1997, “Western man towers over the rest of the world in ways so large as to be almost inexpressible.” He added that other races still feel subjugated even after the end of Western imperialism. Furthermore:

The white man presents an image of superiority even when he isn’t conscious of it. Superiority excites envy. Destroying white civilization is the inmost desire of the league of designated victims we call “minorities.

Does Kesa agree with this? ”

The words don’t ring a bell.

But , IF I know my Joe Sobran ,

    the punch line was something along the lines of ;

Western civilization towers over all others , not because of gunpowder or battleships , not because of penicillin or Ipods , not because of Chevrolet or McDonald’s , not even because of Charles Darwin and Thomas Jefferson.

All of that , in fact , could just as well have been done by another , and sometimes was , and would be equally trivial too.

So many interesting and colorful anecdotes for history buffs , but not much more.

No , Western Civilization towers over all others because of Christianity.

    I agree.

I have referred to myself as a history buff.

    That’s a gross misnomer.

An ex – slave once described slavery as , ” All night forever. ”

History looks to me like 5,000 years of night ,

    with the only flickering candle in the darkness being this ;

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lczocW9cprw

    ( Gratuitous interjection . 🙂 )

In answer to the question , ” Where do you get your book ideas ? ”

Peter Kreeft replied , paraphrasing , ” I go looking for books on certain topics , but can’t find any. So I have to write them myself. ”

I think the same sort of thing was true of Sobran. His occupation was journalist , not priest.

And , in any case , there are no shortage of folks writing ” Come to Jesus ” tracts.

All well and good , except not one in a thousand of those ” Come to Jesus ” tracts relates it to the cold reality that you have to pay the grocery bill this week , or relates it to foreign policy , or to military expenditure , or to issues like the death penalty , or to the fact that a possible outcome of the next election is that you might be taken out behind the courthouse and shot .

AND attempts to relate these things , working with an audience who may have never set foot in a Catholic Church in their lives ,

or to people whose understanding of ” Conservative ” DOES NOT MEAN 500 year old conservative.

They would have no idea what that might be. They have maybe heard of the Declaration of Independence , but wouldn’t have the faintest clue what a British Loyalist thought of the matter , or indeed that a British Loyalist had any opinion at all.

The bad guys are always supposed to be brain – dead robots , right ?

So one might miss , or not detect , the Catholicism in Sobran’s writings.

But then you have a bowdlerized and rough equivalent here I think.

Pretty much everything I write , with the possible exception of pronouncements on Cheerleading outfits , is about religion.

Whether that is obvious or not.

Yeah cuz I just want power! Seriously Kesa, one can’t do anything without power. Thus Thomas Jefferson’s famous quote, “Survival is the first morality”. Or Adams’, I learn politics and war, so my son will have the leisure to study architecture and mathematics, and his son, poetry and art.

How long have you been studying these things? And you still don’t know the a,b,c’s.

And Christianity didn’t create the West. It was already very well established by Greece and Rome. And the Northern pagans were White men and had the same potential, even if they were lagging behind. Christianity was the perfecting arch, but not the cornerstone I’m afraid. And trying to make it be has undone us. See Gibbon’s Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.
