The Unmasking

O Canada, the Great White North, hovering ominously above Niagara Falls somewhere, is a winter wonderland, and one of the great pleasures of the season there, apparently, for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, is skating on thin ice. Why is that? Perhaps in all the hollering you have forgotten how Mr. T has kicked off a civil war: by forcing government-mandated shots on his country’s working class of an alleged “vaccine” that doesn’t work and harms people, at the dwindling end of a worldwide disease scare that scientists in Canadian labs may have helped to create.

The great truckers’ convoy that converged on Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, has exposed the ugly truth at the heart of this historic moment for Western Civ: that governments have declared war on their own citizens. It happens that PM Trudeau represents his country’s Liberal Party, which is suddenly the party of unchecked government power to interfere in the lives of citizens, the party of speech suppression, news management, forced unsafe vaccinations, and the seizure of citizens’ property outside due process of law.

Under the Emergencies Act, Mr. Trudeau’s police have now arrested the leaders of the trucker’s revolt, Tamara Lich and Chris Barber, on charges of “counseling to commit mischief” (O, dear…!), and seized their bank accounts, while also freezing the bank accounts of anyone who donated money to the truckers’ cause. That action led, naturally, to runs on Canada’s major banks, leading to bank shut-downs on Wednesday — d’uh… what do you expect when the authorities send the message: your money is not safe in Canada’s banks, and might not even be your money if we say it’s not?

And now everybody — including alert citizens watching from many other countries — waits to see what the next moves are. Let’s also note that it’s not just the truckers in revolt against insane government mandates; it’s also at least half the population of Canada who stand behind the truckers and against the new fashion for tyranny in what used to be called the Free West. I’d venture to guess that the next move will be a general strike that paralyzes Canada and forces its parliament to overrule the Emergency Act and get rid of PM Trudeau.

Meanwhile, like a coronavirus itself, the trucker protest movement has infected America. A “People’s Convoy” is assembling around Barstow, California (the capital of the Mojave Desert, where there’s plenty of room to assemble), with a launch date of February 23, next Wednesday, destination: Washington DC. Won’t that be… interesting? What will the government of “Joe Biden” do? Likewise invoke some sort of emergency powers? Declare yet another “insurrection” as with January 6, 2021? Mess with the truckers’ bank accounts, and those of the people who support them? Do they want to inspire a run on US banks at a juncture where the extreme fragility of the global banking system threatens to blow up financial markets? Standing by on that.

The US government, like Canada’s, has likewise been at war with its citizens. At least half the country has awakened to this unappetizing reality — even while somewhat less than half the country still catatonically follows whatever idiotic diktat the despotic bureaucracy spews out. Why, for instance, do so many still go about in face masks even where local regulations are lifted? (And especially in light of the overwhelming evidence that masks don’t work?) Answer: to signify that they are still against Trump, the evil leviathan said to be responsible for all the woes and injustices in the world and who threatens their ”safety”— meaning, their status as oppressed victims of “white supremacy,” including the guilty-and-penitent self-oppressed white people of the Left themselves. Yeah, it’s just that simple because we are in an epic episode of human social hysteria.

Except that the hysteria is dissipating for all except the most psychotic or the most politically cornered due to their record of perfidy and bad faith — the David Frums, Max Boots, and Rachel Maddows of our world, the cable news outfits, the Democratic Party hierarchy, the criminally psychopathic swine running the US public health agencies, and the craven doctors who have fecklessly murdered patients at the behest of Dr. Anthony Fauci & Company. Despite the sedulous efforts to suppress the data (O, the sacred data!) about the failure of their “vaccines,” the real news is getting out: the “vaccines” don’t prevent transmission or infection of Covid-19, and they pose lethal side-effects for the vaxxed. There it is, in plain English. And yet, “Joe Biden,” putative president of the US, is still telling the country to “go out and get vaccinated, get boosted” — ???

The companies who produced the “vaccines’ are even on the run. Pfizer withdrew its application for an emergency use authorization in India, where the public health agency insisted on seeing the safety records Pfizer was obliged to furnish — and refused to. India is a big market for pharmaceuticals, some 1.39 billion. Pfizer’s stock has crashed nearly 10 percent the past two weeks. By the way, some of the states of India are notable for having battled Covid-19 with the mass distribution of early treatment kits containing cheap anti-virals such as ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, Vitamin D, etc. The program was famously successful in reducing deaths there.

The CEO of Moderna, Stéphane Bancel, has sold off $400-million of his own stock in the company and deleted his Twitter account on rumors that all-causes deaths reported by US life insurance companies show a shocking and mysterious rise in mortality that just may be attributed to the “vaccines” causing strokes, heart attacks, cancer cases, and immune system failures. (Moderna’s stock is also sinking.) Neither the mainstream news media nor the US public health agencies are making any effort to investigate this now well-documented occurrence.

We’re in the midst of a tremendous shift of public opinion. Winter is not over but the truth is budding now in a thousand places. The people are done kneeling docilly to be silenced and killed. They will not let this country, and many other nations in the Western Civ club, be destroyed without a fight. The unmasked are unmasking their masked antagonists. Stand by, now, to find out who has been behind all this deadly mischief. We will rip off their masks and the rule of law will be restored.

“Edward Dowd is a member of the global investment community. He’s worked at and grown some of the finest firms on Wall Street, and is a former Blackrock Portfolio Manager.

He joined me today to expose the clear Pfizer & FDA fraud that is taking place. Edward discusses how COVID-19 may have been used to cover global debt, and how he predicts a financial collapse is ahead of us.”

Ed Dowd, a Wall Street financial expert and former BlackRock stock picker, shows that Wall Street is catching on to the deaths from vaccines and they are pulling their money from the vaccine manufacturers.

He says COVID was created to deflect attention away from the enormous debt crisis created by bankers. But the bodies are piling up and it can no longer be hidden. If the stocks take a huge dive, then it will awaken more people. Scotland is hiding the data because there are too many bodies.

But the financial data cannot be hidden. Insurance companies increased their pay-outs in 2021 after vaccines were introduced — this is hard data. He also said mortician stocks went up in 2021. Anyway, I think he is right — Wall Street may be able to get thru to the vaccine believers.

i agree that the Ukraine “war” is being used as a diversion. Ukraine could go hot except Russia is preventing that right now.

/ Will Ed be a suicide?

      • malthuss February 18, 2022 at 10:42 am #

side note, I know someone who knows morticians, and they are finding big clots in the dead.

        • megabeth February 18, 2022 at 11:28 am #

I’d believe a pathology report over a second-hand mortician report. Blood coagulation. Pre-mortem clotting would look different, histologically, than post-mortem coagulation. Are there credible pathology reports and reviews being published or leaked?

DVTs can be frighteningly long . . . Richard Nixon’s was a regular snake, and got written up anonymously in some journal in 1974 or 1975.

          • Mac February 20, 2022 at 7:32 am #

Autopsies cost about 3K and are not covered by insurance. Isn’t it interesting that during this whole pandemic there has been little interest in autopsy data, both in the vaxxed and unvaxxed? Autopsies are very inconvenient for doctors, and now pharmaceutical companies.

      • justanotherguy February 18, 2022 at 11:19 am #

in the middle of one of the worst days i’ve had in a while this past wednesday, i had the paranoid reallization that another war would serve those powers just fine.

the elephant in the living room is that virtually every country’s military is stocked to a significant proportion with that nation’s patriots, and that every time those militaries are misused and those people meet their ends – especially if they die fighting other westerners, those banker wars serve 2 purposes.

first, they select against the warrior gene, and they punish the entire patriot population with failure after failure.

since WW1 and WW2, we have male population turning into tofu, and the west’s % of world population has fallen to ~10%.

1849: Gutele Schnaper, Mayer Amschel Rothschild’s wife dies. Before her death she would state, “If my sons did not want wars, there would be none.”

        • megabeth February 18, 2022 at 11:30 am #

She did not sound terribly thrilled with her sons. Or was that some weird flex as she gasped her last?

          • justanotherguy February 18, 2022 at 11:42 am #

that family has notoriously lent to both sides of every conflict since then, and made money hand over fist regardless of who won or lost.

big time flex, still is, now their influence is from further in the shadows.

scales came of my eyes when i read “The Creature from Jekyll Island” by G. Edward Griffin.

          • justanotherguy February 18, 2022 at 11:45 am #

must add that my bad day was realizing this mess is just in time to entangle my beloved son, who is almost 16. he behaves as a patriot and warrior, and i am having flashbacks to my youth watching the vietnam meatgrinder eat some of our country’s finest young people.

i do not want to see my son sacrifices to moloch.

          • megabeth February 18, 2022 at 11:59 am #

justanotherguy: I feel that with you. My son is 19, but he was a babe in arms the last time we were all railroaded into a cha-ching! war. I wish them all nooses and pitchforks.

          • Ron Anselmo February 19, 2022 at 12:37 am #

            @just & beth –

Place liens on your sons – perfectly legal. Cost from birth to emancipation (18)? Maybe $250K? Document the costs and place a lien on your sons (for the amount of money they *owe* you).

When the time comes for conscription, the government can only draft them and put them in service – provided they have paid you to satisfy the outstanding liens.

Your sons will only serve at their choice, if they (you) choose to legally “release the liens”. Trust me, the government will move to the next available conscript. The choice of a *body* for $250K or zero, is a no-brainer (suitable for our government).

James Kunstler and ee cummings have a lot in common. I think this was his most concisely well-aimed attack on statism yet- and cummings, in one of his finest poems, “i sing of Olaf glad and big,” writes: “I will not kiss your f*cking flag. There is some sh*t I will not eat.”
In the spirit of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade, I feel like having some shoulder patches made to wear on my fatigues: “James Kunstler Brigade,” or “e e cummings brigade- there is some sh*t I will not eat.”

        • Nigel Tufnel February 18, 2022 at 12:37 pm #

justano- wishing you and your son well, and power to the warrior genes!

Like so much of this orchestrated attack against us, the attack on the warriors began long ago with the advent of estrogen mimics and endocrine disruptors. Everyone, but especially men and pregnant women – Stay away from glyphosates, fragrances, foods microwaved in plastic, gmo crops, and all non-organic grain as it has been drenched with roundup at harvest to promote drying.

Interesting that the companies manufacturing these products are big donors to the LGBT groups, most likely in hopes to avoid future class action lawsuits.

Wars cause public opinion to swing towards patriotism and “we’re all in this together!” sloganeering. The conventional wisdom is that a war in Ukraine would help lift “Joe’s” approval from the bottom of the latrine hole, thereby helping him, his despotic party, and the plutocrats who’ve funded them so they can impose “Build Back Better” on us in the same way Imperial Japan foisted the Southest Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere on Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, and eastern China. The big difference is, of course, that if the bastards complete their takeover of the West, there’ll be no United States standing by to bail out the rest of the world..

        • hilton33 February 18, 2022 at 8:36 pm #

We’re all in this together! Where have I heard that slogan before? Nothing can lift Joe’s approval, not even a war!

We’re all in this together! Where have I heard that quote before? Not even a war can lift Joe’s approval.

It’s notable Dowd’s secondary educational background is totally based in the state of Indiana rather than typical the Ivy League-UChicago-Stanford swamp.

That probably helped him retain some of his conscience, which led him to speak out.

The interviewer, Maria Zeee is also interesting. She seemingly popped up out of nowhere in late 2021. Very pleasant, but she seems quite polished for someone that just began doing this.

Also, Fidel may be Trudeau’s biological father, but according to this clip Klaus Schwab seems to be his adopted father. Joined at the hip:

      • Islander February 18, 2022 at 12:59 pm #

I don’t know who is more disgusting, Schwab or that cringe-worthy little twirp, Trudeau.

Note that Schwab emphasizes that the world after the Fourth Industrial Revolution will be young. ???

Note also that he speaks of a WEF “constituency.” WhereTF did this “constitutency” come from?

I thought constituencies (in a political context) were voters and citizens of a COUNTRY from an electoral district/state/country.

Not a cross-national grouping of members of interest groups who have their own agendas apart from those of leglitimate political constituencies.

Quite apart from those details, the unctuousness is stomach-churning. .

        .

        • Uncle Bob February 18, 2022 at 4:58 pm #

You have to remember that they, as our betters, are the most important constituency of all because only they have the answers and the will to give the world perfect government. If you oppose their initiatives, you’re a lunatic, and possibly a terrorist too. Ergo, truckers. Trump, alternative media people and their readers/listeners, etc., are all The Enemy, and they need to be destroyed. (How ironic these same people complain about how society treats The Other.)

And waiting in the wings is the self-righteous shrew, Hillruh herself. Yay.

        • Paul February 19, 2022 at 8:49 am #

Islander, check your disgust. That ‘cringe-worthy little twerp’ is just another trust fund kid who simply cannot understand why so many people are angry at him. Poor bast!

Thanks for reminding me of the existence of the word ‘unctious’. I’ll be over-using it, henceforth.

Go check out https://ninetymilesfromtyranny.blogspot.com/2022/02/fda-exec-says-on-hidden-camera-that.html where Christopher Cole, Executive Officer of Countermeasures Initiative for the FDA, said: If they [Big Pharma] can get every person required [to get] an annual vaccine, that is a recurring return of money going into their company,” Cole explained.

And there it is. Right out in the open.

    • Night Owl February 18, 2022 at 9:54 am #

That is only one component of it. The larger component is the use of the scam to force the WEF digital passports/ID scheme for the Great Reset smartgrid.

And then there are all the deaths and injuries from the mysterious, unapproved, and untested MRNA gene therapy shots. If the info. uncovered on coordination on the release of deadly batches is unquestionably what is going on between the three criminal pharmacos, then this is genocide on a global scale.

      • Beryl of Oyl February 18, 2022 at 10:15 am #

That is why Castreau of Canada will not back off. He has one job to do, this is what he was put in place for.

Without the vaxxpass, there is no cover for phasing in the digital ID.

The world is rising up against the covid tyranny, there isn’t much time left. If he doesn’t hold the line, what happens to everyone else in on this global ID movement, when the people all realize what’s been done to them under cover of a virus?

          • C.O.Jones February 18, 2022 at 12:05 pm #

@Hereward – Agree 100%. It is Trudeau’s job to get as many of his subjects death-shotted as possible. I’m sure like “Joe Biden” and other so called leaders, there is a percentage figure they must make or else be deemed a failure.

That should disabuse even the dimwitted of the notion that so called leaders work for the citizenry and raise the question among the borderline sentient “Well, then who are they working for?”

If they come up with the correct answer, employees such as Trudeau, Biden, Merkel, Macron etc. and their employers – Soros, Schwab, Gates etc MUST share the same fate: trial under the Nuremberg protocols and subsequent execution.

          • Jarek February 18, 2022 at 1:02 pm #

Or Churchill. Is anyone who holds a line bad? Or are all lines bad, such as borders? Or are some lines good, and thus the line holders too?

Correct. It’s not about money – although more money is always nice – it’s about control, absolute control. Probably also about pulling your plug when deemed necessary – “just another anti-vaxxer falling dead from Covid as they run down the street” – because there are too damned many of us to efficiently manage.

Mostly agreed, but I believe the Green Smart power grid already has the seeds of failure sewn into it.

There is no way a green grid can support the masses of mining, semiconductor fabs + their suppliers, data centers, and server farms required to run their global control network and upload their consciousnesses to permanent digital storage.

You need stable power sources like coal, natural gas, and nuclear to run that sort of energy-hungry network.

Even if they do manage to reduce the human population to 500 million I’m not convinced a green grid could support the electrical and data infrastructure required for their control project.

I’m certainly willing to hear counter-arguments. I’m not sure there is any good research on this topic, as it is quite dark.

        • justanotherguy February 18, 2022 at 12:21 pm #

just calculating the block chain on crypto currencies for all transactions would take more energy than the grid can supply, by a factor of multiples

Maybe this is part of why the hurry.
Because they know that real fuel is running out and they have to use the fuel that remains to run their new system.

          That would explain why Russia.

Why do people (want to) attack Russia? Because that is where the land and resources are.

According to William Catton, Overshoot, once Homo sapiens/collosus starts perceiving that the carrying capacity is tanking they end up wasting a lot of the resources left in fighting and warring over who will get to the head of the queue. Per Cattton, this is how the die-off plays out—not via starvation per se. People killing each other off after realizing that they are expendable to some other group, so that other group has to go.

If only we could extend that analysis to our enemies in Davos and their metastatic cells across the globe.

Of course the clot shots are a new factor in Catton’s “laws-of-ecology” framework (interestingly enough, though, he does mention vaccines, but in a context of the many small steps that people take not realizing that they end up leading the species to overshoot and then, inevitably, die-off). .

            +1.
This is the basis for what can only be described as the genocidal madness of the globalist elites, imho.
They must surely be aware that their technocratic goal is scarcely within reach, likely due to energy constraints.
Gail Tverberg has identified some of the problems at Our Finite World, and written cogently about them, replete with data and facts.
Arguably, socio-political and economic forces, scaled up to geopolitical tensions, may tear civilization down before any ecological or trophic collapse. Even without a major global conflict.
The real tragedy is that, contrary to what neo-Malthusians believe, the planet can likely easily sustain 11 billion people in terms of calories, protein and micronutrients, if farming was practiced intelligently, and uncoupled from financial capitalism. There is a caveat: certain locales which are highly populated but with limited agricultural potential represent weak links. A good example is the dependence of the Levant and North Africa on wheat supplies from the Ukraine. Hence, projections of – at the least – bread lines, in the event of a war there. A research group in Finland has published extensively on this issue – the broader issue of food security – and (contrary to what I’ve written above) modelled (yes, I know, I know….those damn modellers) that 64% of the global population can not be nutritionally supported with staple crops from within a 1,000km radius from their home.
Searching for a quote, I found it:
“Kinnunen et al. (2020) reported that only 11–28% of the global population can fulfil their demand for specific crops within a 100-km radius, while for 26–64% of the population, that distance is greater than 1,000?km.” (note the bounds inherent there, that is notable – that’s scenario modelling for you)
            Meanwhile, from dieoff.com:
““Economic analyses often overlook the biological and physical constraints that exist in all food production systems. The assumption is that market mechanisms and international trade are effective insurances against future food shortages. A rich economy is expected to guarantee a food supply adequate to meet a country’s demand despite existing local ecological constraints. In fact, the contrary is true. When global biological and physical limits to domestic food production are reached, food importation will no longer be a viable option for any country. At that point, food importation for the rich can only be sustained by starvation of the powerless poor.

These concerns about the future are supported by two observations. First, most of the 183 nations of the world are now, to some extent, dependent on food imports. Most of these imports are cereal surpluses produced only in those countries that have relatively low population densities and practice intensive agriculture. For instance, the United States, Canada, Australia, Oceania, and Argentina provide 81 percent of net cereal exports on the world market. If, as projected, the U.S. population doubles in the next 60 years (Pimentel et al., 1994), then its cereal and other food resources would have to be used domestically to feed 520 million hungry Americans. Then the U.S. would cease to be a food exporting country.”
Pimentel, D. et al. (2021). The impact of population growth on food supplies and the environment. Available at, https://dieoff.com/page57.htm [Accessed April 18, 2021]”

Islander, yes. The age of rationing is here.

SHVillain, indeed. Read 1491 & 1493, the years before and after the start of the Columbian Exchange. Turns out the population of the Americas was way higher than previously estimated. While some cultures declined and fell from hubris, overpopulation and resource depletion (the Maya), others were able to maintain pops of many millions over thousands of years by a wise use of agriculture. The Amazon basin used permaculture practices: the original peoples spread the seed of thousands of useful plants over thousands of years. You still see the results in what’s left of the Amazon, which is less every year.

Of course, they had no Bidenistas & Trumpistas agreeing on McMansions, pallets of single use plastic beverage containers, gorging themselves on bleach, hormone & antibiotic industrially produced chicken products at the local Olive Garden, etc.

I get laughed out of the room every time, but dig this: I believe our Earth is generous enough for all 8B of us AS LONG AS we embrace a Stoic, simple, willingly poor & wise lifestyle.

It’s not how many; it’s how much they consume.

            Smokey hill

I read your post and instead of attacking the 11 billion number I decided to look at how long it will take to get there at current growth rates. I was surprised but not really.

First, folks keep saying the growth rate is decreasing. True, from about 1.08% down to 1.02% over about forty years.

However, as each number is bigger than the last the increase is pretty constant in spite of the decline.

That increase is about 81 million a year or 810 million per decade, and fairly constant there.

2020 population was 7.8 billion people.

So, 11 minus 7.8 billion is 3.2 billion.

3.2 billion divided by .8 billion per decade is four decades.

Uh oh. 2060. The world will be at max capacity mid century and that assumes that things remain the same. Like no big die off, no declining agrarian productivity, no Peak oil, no major war etc.

JHK says we are going to be in trouble by 2100 due to Peak Oil. JHK may be an optimist. For one, productivity of agrarian land will not be increasing, it will be decreasing. Marginal land is what is left to develop and the ability of fertilizers to keep existent land producing at the same level will be severely impacted by Peak oil and gas.

Keep reproducing everyone, your kids and their kids are going to starve in increasing numbers.

            Smokie:

Catton calls this reliance on external sources of food “ghost acreage.”

There is no way the earth can support 11 billion humans. There won’t be enough fossil fuel to provide the inputs that make agribusiness possible (both fertilizers and machinery).

I am no fan of agribusiness, but I don’t see calculations that the world can be fed without it. To me “vertical agriculture” looks like a mirage requiring enormous inputs. The practical expressoin of this line of thinking will be on disiplay at Floriade 2022, in Almere, the Netherlands.

            https://floriade.com/en/about-floriade/growing-green-cities/

Somewhere at their website, which I find very jumpy and hard to use, is a link to experiments in bugs as food.

I am def;initely still educating myself on this and would definitely plan a trip to the Netherlands to see this expo if circumstances (covid nonsense) permit.

The problem is not just food in feeding 11 billion. There is a basic problem of oxygen and water.

I also findn somewhat noxious the idea of “feeding 11 billion”—the implicit idea that they are not feeding themselves but that TPTB are making decisions as to how to feed these billions. As if they were infants. If one had left them on their land instead of creating conditions whereby they fled the land to cities, a lot of them would be feeding themselves.

The trivial number of increased deaths so far from the disease and its vaccine is a small dent in the increase of 80 million per year of global population. As a population control option, this attempt is a total failure.

To all the covidians in masked filled rooms at any given school board meeting I would love to ask,

“What would happen if nobody was wearing their mask right now, for the entirety of this meeting?” And see what their response would be.

Whatever it would be, I would respond with, “We just had a superbowl where nobody was wearing masks and interacting more closely than we are at this meeting.” To which they may respond that everyone at the superbowl was either vaxxed or had to show proof of negative test. To which I would respond…

“Let’s say half the crowd was vaccinated and half was not. The half the isn’t vaccinated show up with absolute proof that they did not have the virus in the last 48 hours. However, the vaccinated half, which can catch and transmit the virus are not vetted for recent positive status at all. So how is that policy in anyway a logical safeguard more than safety theater? Furthermore, we just had a season of college sports where thousands of fans gathered in close, maskless quarters for thousands of football games. Should there not have been a massive spike in deaths and cases during the football season? And what about the counties, states and entire countries that either have never had mask mandates, or dropped them last year? How do you explain their miraculous survival or the fact that they are experiencing no difference in case or mortality rates as the masked counties, state and countries?”

I would follow up with, “If you as board members or school staff feel you are safer with a mask on, then feel free to protect yourselves, but let the rest of the world take the same risk that doesn’t seem to be harming the rest of the world”

Not everyone fits into these boxes. I have a friend who’s 78 and a strong Trump supporter. She’s not vaxxed and says she’ll never be. But she wears a mask when shopping in crowded stores because she says these studies about mask efficacy could well be flawed and thinks masks could offer some protection. She’s mentioned that the Frontline doctor’s website recommends mask wearing in some instances. Says she’s not concerned about what others do, but she enjoys faking people out. So, I don’t think you can know someone’s politics based on whether they’re wearing a mask.

This puts me out in the public where I have brief, chance encounters with the people I’ve described above, and there is something simple that I do when I see masked toddlers, stopped Prius cars, and people waiting for the bus:

There is a distinction to made in Oregon.
        Notably, natives vs. transplants.

        True generationally native Oregonians.
Not the Portlanders who made their way from (mostly) the Bay Area and New York City in the last 1 or 2 generations.

I would say the Portland transplant and replacement influx and conquest took place in the late 90’s and early 00’s.

There exists a prototype native Oregonian who respects nature and guns (and knives: Kershaw, Gerber, Benchmade, etc.)

A pro-environment AND pro individual rights people.

They have been replaced by pro-government tribalist sheep who believe their uniformed “weirdness” (it’s not weird) and hyper-focus on individualist counter-culture markers makes them independent (it does not).

It is sad what has become of that place, but not surprising.

Oregon is my birth state, although I have moved on to taller mountains and fewer people (Wyoming).

The demise of Oregon as a land of loggers and dirt farmers that I grew up in was finalized with the legalization of marijuana. The rural areas (especially in the SW parts of the state) had made a successful transition from logging to growing weed as the primary economic base. Thousands of rural Oregonians had developed a lifestyle geared to small farm cultivation, a bit of clandestine concealment, and friendship with old high school mates who had joined the sheriff’s department. Along with a beach shack in Costa Rica it wasn’t a bad life.

With legalization came money from the big tobacco companies along with mass marketing and distribution. From the production end big Tobacco’s partnership with Mexican cartels soon changed growing weed from a family business among friends to a cutthroat business where carrying an AK47 was more vital to success than cultivating the most desirable product.

That’s the way it goes when Community meets Capital.

And if I am in a sitiuation where I have to make a show of wearing the mask (in grocery store, where most people have under nose), I lower the mask a few times so that the child can see my face.

I observed an entertaining incident in McCall, ID yesterday morning when out for breakfast. The 40-something healthy, fit couple in the booth next to us were unmasked just as everyone else in the diner was, including the employees. As they got up TO GO OUTSIDE, both donned a designer mask. They seemed VERY happy to do this (despite no sign or ordinance here in ID), and looked very proud of themselves. Everyone watching them looked like they were about to roll their eyes or even bust out laughing.

Went to a diner today down the road apiece from McCall, and not one mask or on waitstaff or anyone in the VERY crowded diner, it being Sunday and all.

Bottom line: Most of the US is not wearing masks and pretending there is a pandemic, and those wearing designer masks outside look like virtue-signaling idiots.

I tested negative for the Gaack yesterday, again. So the heavy cold-symptoms I’ve been having for the past three days indicate that I probably have . . . a cold. On Thursday afternoon, while teaching my class of 7 and 8 year olds, I a sneeze coming on — a big one. Fortunately my mask caught it, so a minimum of virus was diffused into the room.

I wear a mask mainly to protect others from exposure to the germs I breath out. That’s it.

I take off my mask when direct-teaching letter/sound relationships, sight words and irregular pronunciations to the kids. It helps their understanding when they can see as well as hear the words being pronounced by their teacher.

Since January, classroom attendance has held at over 95 % despite encouragement from TPTB for kids to ‘Stay home if you’re sick’.

The kids are all determined to learn how to read and they’re working like centurions to make that happen.

      • MaryQueen February 20, 2022 at 7:41 pm #

It’s too bad you’re teaching kids to be afraid of a fucking sneeze.

I saw that Homeland Security has been put on notice to keep an eye on the US convoy. I assume that means if I join any social media groups in support of that cause I will be on a watch list, possibly causing me to lose my air travel privileges, be doxxed, and if I dared to donate any money, have my donation confiscated and bank account frozen. Also, if there’s any doubt that Canada has declared war on its own citizens, this should remove all doubt. Coming to a Western nation near you…

      • David Webb February 18, 2022 at 10:04 am #

I wouldn’t be surprised if reading columnists like Matt Taibbi and Glenn Greenwald or watching videos by Joe Rogan and Russell Brand will get you on a watch list now. For that matter, since I’ve heard the MSM refer to any of the alternative social media sites that were started to evade censorship as “right wing extremist” sites, even setting up an account on any one of those might draw the attention of the US Protective Echelon.

      The loophole serves two purposes:

      1) A dogwhistle to everyone regarding which group is to be removed.

      2) Cover for renewed Antifa/BLM riots.

      • Jo-G February 18, 2022 at 11:15 am #

It isn’t a loophole, it gives specific exemptions to special groups of people.

Just like the U.S. lockdowns forced people at risk for severe covid reactions to still report to work if their jobs provided for the laptop class’ comfort. I know people with heart disease who were told to continue working during the lockdowns or be fired.

It would be fun to see the people in the exempt classes come out on the streets in support of the truckers. The truckers should apply for political asylum and enter that exempt class.

Canada’s Emergency Measures Regulations: SOR/2022-21 (prohibiting protests and such) does not apply to “any person in a class of persons whose presence in Canada… is in the national interest.”

We will rip off their masks—

If I felt I needed a mask in a potentially contaminated area, whether Covid or flu or TB, nobody better try to rip off my mask. As much as it is to not be wearing a mask, it is my right to wear one if I deem it necessary, which is almost never.

Reporting from our last AM in Las Vegas. Mask laws removed in all casinos, restaurants and most retail places. About 80% of people are not wearing masks, with a majority of the 20% Asian. Las Vegas following national trends with Omicron plunging. Heading back to Phoenix in an hour, sans mask.

Will definitely be watching progress of the Barstow March, the people’s March. Lord, what a mess the Liberal world is creating.

I call them left-wingers, John. Authentic Liberals have a respect for human rights, rule of law, freedom of speech, etc.
These born again Toadies of the globalist corporate fascists have come a long way from their 1960’s selves. Old man Neil Young, old woman Joni Mitchell, et al should look at themselves. When did the Nazi body snatchers invade and take over?

      • Unperson37854 February 18, 2022 at 11:14 am #

Labels. I sometimes think they exist to aid in censoring speech/ideas, and to discourage people from being exposed to inconvenient truths via threats of association.

Left. Right. Conservative. Liberal. Progressive. Libertarian. Give me a label that the mainstream hasn’t attached a wedge issue to. All of these labels have some sort of deal-breaker for me, and perhaps that’s by design. I used to say a “classic liberal” is the closest thing I resemble, which, since the overton window has shifted has more trappings of a modern day conservative than liberal.

I prefer to say I belong to no established group, that I am an individual with a unique set of beliefs that sometimes aligns or overlaps with some of the beliefs under the mainstream labels.

I found this screed against “pious liberals” in an article about Rush Limbaugh, on the anniversary of his passing.

There was a time when I would have considered myself fairly liberal. My most Leftist friend was staunchly in favor of the Second Amendment and the Bill of Rights.

“This is precisely why every pious liberal is miserable and spreads his liberal misery wherever he goes: because for the pious liberal there is nothing beyond politics. Everything is about power and is reducible to power. As the world has seen with shocking clarity these past two years, the pious liberal will not rest until he controls your every thought, word, and deed. He wants to tell you how to worship God, manage your personal health, and raise your children. In fact, as the enforcer for a brutish state, he will close down your church, force needles into your arm, and take your children from you. He won’t let you play football, baseball, or tiddlywinks unless you pervert your sport into a ghastly hosannah to liberal nihilism. And this is also (here I permit myself a moment of Rush-like optimism) why the pious liberals will always fail—after they have spread as much of their liberal misery as they can: because human beings by nature pursue happiness, and they always will.”

Aristotle said some people were natural slaves. I assume he meant the irresponsible, but the folks you’re talking about are often very responsible and rule abiding. They’re conformists – one of Laurence Kohlberg’s moral stages. And they fit into Totalitarianism, be it right or left, like a hand in a glove.

This is what I prepped for. Can’t work? No problem, I’m prepped for that. Grocery store won’t allow me in? No problem, I’m prepped for that. Security, medication, utilities, and entertainment? No problem, I’m prepped for that.

The people that didn’t prepare are the ones being jabbed and if what I believe to be true is true then they’ve thrown their lives away. Sad but true.

Just yesterday, another friend of mine living in California passed away. He wasn’t yet 30 and had a massive stroke, went into a coma, was pronounced “brain dead” with the decision to be removed from life support made by his mother.

Heart attacks, strokes and rare cancers have already taken half a dozen young adults that I know. I suspect that it is going to get a lot worse as time goes on.

The reason the ticket holder can’t attend is that someone in her family just had a fatal heart attack. He was 45 years old.

Firsthand. Not a young person, but had been successfully keeping the onset of a rare leukemia at bay with meds. Got their third booster, then, ironically contracted covid (and recovered like a normal flu), but now their white blood cell count is through the roof and they’re starting chemo next week in preparation for a bone marrow transplant. This person was playing botchy ball and golfing this week. Next week they begin the fight for their lives. No one will even entertain whether the vaccine or covid has anything to do with anything.

        Interesting. CW2.

The South tried to peacefully leave the USA concerning their bad economic situation, namely most of their capital was in slaves.

That did not work out so well for Davis, Lee and company.

The Red vs. Blue situation is the same. The exception being the demographic separation is no geographical, ie North vs, South. The Blue city vs. Red everywhere else will make the borders of this revolution interesting. Think about this. The war is over before it begins, depending if the truckers just stop deliveries.

        I don’t think so—“odd,” that is.

She leaves it for you to start connecting the dots.
The fact is, none of us knows just what the plan is —they have not shown us their play book, and will not do so. We have to infer the play book from WHO these “members” are. Frankly, I didn’t know that this actually is a club. Would be great to find out how much each member pays, and what the private communications are

Since the WEF openly (per Schwab) aspires to run the world, I do think the public has a right to see all communications between members that could probably be established in a court of law. What are the rights of UN staff and appointees to privacy? Are all of their communications on official govt servers, as in the USA? No private emails? Or what? The same should go for the WEF.

As for the video, it is just a 12-minute video.
I think she does a very good job.

    Thanks JHK

From the Great White North: we are at one of those interesting points in history. JT may succeed in sending the truckers home, but whatever happens he has burnt his own credibility and extinguished his political capital. The Conservative Party recently dumped their leader by a vote of siting members of parliament, the same could happen to JT. This drama has a long way to go before it’s over.

    • Billy Hill February 18, 2022 at 1:03 pm #

Is there any betting action on whether The Turd (JT) is a Dead Man Walking?

    • Paul February 19, 2022 at 10:02 am #

Interesting that it was Conservative Party leader Kevin O’Toole whose head rolled during the truckers’ occupation and not JT’s. While I agree you the same thing could happen to JT, the continuing successful application of the Emergencies Act seems likely to result in an enhancement of the government’s position, not a weakening of it.

We need to gather all the evidence, after the jabs are suspended. Any data that has been corrupted, we need to find out who was responsible for that data. Those people need to be stripped of all medical credentials and assets just before they are put in prison for at least 20 years. This needs to be done by an independent board with experienced researchers and medical personnel that have been dissenters of all of this. If the WHO is responsible for some of this, they need to be banished from the country and funding from the taxpayer cut off. All monetary gains from the stock of these individuals who were pushing the jab need to be clawed back and they also need to go to prison. The CEO’s of these medical companies who knew about the dangers of the jab (I will not use their terminology by calling it a vaccine), need their assets stripped and they need to go to prison also.

If it is discovered, and I believe it will, that influential people, like certain CEOs and senior government bureaucrats were responsible for deliberately causing deaths of people, then they need to be punished accordingly. The gallows, or perhaps lethal injection would be more fitting. In addition to being the time-tested proper punishment, it would also send a nice, chilling message to other budding sociopaths.

FDA document admits “Covid” PCR test was developed without isolated samples for test calibration, effectively admitting it’s testing something else.

Maybe that’s why I tested positive when I had a mild cold that lasted all of three days last month.

      • Unperson37854 February 18, 2022 at 11:30 am #

        David Webb

Those are the typical symptoms of what they’re calling covid. I know two vaccinated people recently who tested positive for covid and couldn’t believe it, because all they had was flu-like symptoms.

Which leads me to believe that these people who are racing to get the latest boosters while wearing their masks have this perception that covid has unique, extreme symptoms – which then leads me to believe that half the vaccinated people who came down with covid and had a mild flu never went to get tested, which means the ineffectiveness of the vaccines is underreported.

BTW, anecdotally, the people I know who got the vaccine, especially the younger ones had worse “flu-like” symptoms FROM the vaccine than most of the people I know vaccinated or unvaccinated who came down with covid.

        • ThorsHammer February 19, 2022 at 11:08 pm #

The PCR test was never intended, nor was it ever useful in determining if the person being tested has or ever had transmittable COVID.

It was chosen as the “gold standard” for identifying COVID by the PharmaFraud industry because (according to Kory Mullis, its Nobel Prize winning inventor, “it can be used to prove anything about anything.”)

The COVID fraud was enabled by re-defining a “case” of COVID from “diagnosed by a medical professional” to “testing positive on a PCR test” The result was that the amplitude or existence of a COVID pandemic has always been a purely political construct, subject to being ramped up or down to achieve political ends.

After two years we are left with nearly four billion people on the planet having been “tested” for COVID, their ability to travel arbitrarily restricted, their permission to travel to visit a dying mother denied, and the practices of totalitarianism embedded in laws and social belief systems.

In the USA the COVID “pandemic” claimed somewhere between 17,000 lives (according to the VAERS voluntary reporting system) or 900,000 (according to the CDC).

    • Not_GeorgeT February 18, 2022 at 10:54 am #

Keep in mind PCR was never a test to diagnose anything, it was developed as a research lab tool.

    • thirdcoastlegend February 18, 2022 at 11:01 am #

Didn’t they also admit that the PCR diagnostic procedure and criteria are looking for genetic fragments that are non-specific to Covid, and may show up in the sequences of many, many other viruses?

      • Blackbird February 18, 2022 at 11:22 am #

I doubt that they admitted it, but the evidence is out there for anyone interested.

I read a very informative article about Drosten’s development of the PCR test for “Covid” – and if I can even find it again, I might try to post a link.

In the article, it is stated that the 2 genetic sequences (a PCR “diagnostic test” usually requires 3 sequences, but “Covid”) selected for confirming the presence of “Covid” also match 100+ other genetic sequences in the human genome as well as 100+ bacterial sequences. What the “test” is looking for, you have. Look hard enough (crank up the cycles) and you will find what you want to find.

        • Amman February 18, 2022 at 12:57 pm #

Same as with with the HIV-AIDS test kit. If y ou recall, they said the virus could hide in the brain and you would test positive one day and negative the next. How f-cking convenient.

It is always about the money .People think that money is wealth instead of just a claim on wealth. Just like people in the US think we live in a democracy. What, nobody read the constitution, where it clearly states we live in a constitutional republic based on the rule of law. LOL. So, with more claims on wealth being printed everyday, does the value of the wealth go up ? What THEY can’t confiscate from you is gold they know nothing about. Gold not in your possession is just a pipe dream. Personally I would invest in all 4 precious metals equally; gold, silver, brass and lead. Ask anyone in Cyprus whether it was worth having some physical silver around? Or anyone in Zimbabwe about physical gold ??? “I’d venture to guess that the next move will be a general strike that paralyzes Canada and forces its parliament to overrule the Emergency Act and get rid of PM Trudeau.”

If the people of Canada want to prevail in this showdown, that should be the next move. The trucker’s convoy, with its siege of Ottawa and shutdown of border crossings, is certainly a dramatic action which gets noticed, but it puts the participants in a vulnerable position. It has become a waiting game, with Jussie warm in his hot tub at the gay bathhouse and the truckers freezing in their trucks. As time goes on, more citizens will become annoyed with the disruption of traffic and the honking of horns and public opinion will against the truckers will build.

If the goal is to end the mandates, and maybe even force Jussie from office, it will take more than a handful of hard-ass truckers. Those who support the truckers need to stay home and do nothing. Shut the whole damned country down – well, except maybe heat and electricity, the government will deprive you of those. Easy to blame “the truckers” for your inconvenience, harder to point your finger at half the country.

If the nascent US “People’s Convoy” wants to do more than go to prison and have their assets seized, the rest of us will also need to stand up – by sitting down. But will that work? A general strike could cripple our already grievously-wounded economy, and may simply be playing into the hands of the architects of the “Great Reset”.

In the end, I expect that dissent will be dealt with harshly. Protests will only lead to more oppression and not a return of our stolen rights. Anybody remember January 6th?

    • Rain Waters February 18, 2022 at 11:57 am #

For conversation purpose, how do you respond to those who say choking ourselves with a general strike is precisely the suicidal corner psychopath has herded us into?

exactly as the 6 jan crowd was expertly herded to Wa DC.

      • Blackbird February 18, 2022 at 12:30 pm #

I think for the trucker’s convoy to be effective, it needs to evolve into a general strike.

However, that level of non-violent disobedience may be just what our masters are attempting to provoke in order to launch a wave of mass repression.

They have been strategizing for years. We have been strategizing for weeks. They are several moves ahead.

        • JohnAZ February 18, 2022 at 9:13 pm #

Do you think the overall reaction to Covid has not had the same effect as a general strike in the service sector, maybe all sectors.

The government has exposed its tit, and the American gimmes have latched on.

How to fixit? Let them starve.

          • Blackbird February 19, 2022 at 11:22 am #

“Do you think the overall reaction to Covid has not had the same effect as a general strike in the service sector, maybe all sectors.”

No, “Covid” was a shut-down managed by the government. They chose what and when to shut down in order to enrich and empower themselves while immiserating us. I think that with the economy as damaged as it is by the “Covid” lockdown, that a general strike by the public could be crippling.

But if we pull down the Jenga tower, who are the sticks gonna fall on?

Until such fraud and fabrication is proven against the C-suite occupants, and their fraudulently acquires assets are stripped as they do serious jail time somewhere not a version of club med, it will be business as usual.

Pfizer is a known criminal enterprise with convictions to prove it. No one went to jail. The company was fined for criminal activity, that’s all. The cost of doing business.

They’ve been making about $1,000 per second during this (there is a link, I don’t have it handy)
Thats $86,400,000 per day. What’s $2 billion? Walking around money.

Hi Elysianfield…the Congress claims it has authority to confer special and extraordinary powers on the President in that Act. But actually it doesn’t. The powers of the Congress and the President and the Judicial are only described in the constitution

What Yankees call “Canadian Bacon” is actually just thinly-sliced ham. It’s just that you can sell ham for more money when you market it as any kind of ‘bacon’, that’s all.

If the government can confiscate its critics’ bank accounts it can also cancel their cell phone and internet services and jam their CB radios (if Canadian trucker use CB). How do the protesters communicate then? I knew a woman who said she worked the anti – Vietnam protests as a messenger. She said she was pregnant at the time so the organizers gave her a messenger job. The logic was the cops would be less likely to frisk her. She just inconspicuously walked back and forth around the protest sites delivering notes among the leaders at various sites. The truckers may have to communicate low tech at some point.

“We’re in the midst of a tremendous shift of public opinion. We will rip off their masks and the rule of law will be restored.”

    Beeeeyoooooteeful prose.

I remember writing similar sentiments, though not nearly as eloquent an probably laced with profanity helper words, back in 2017 when it became apparent that the left had usurped the DOJ and the INTEL services. It was heart felt, and I had such confidence in the American People.

Since then, they’ve burned a lot of things, putatively released COVID and ran a COUP on the American Presidency. Essentially, they really defied my wildest imagination.

As I was reading today’s column, I had the thought that while I still miss Hunter S. Thompson, I’m very glad we have James Howard Kunstler.

        • Blackbird February 18, 2022 at 6:49 pm #

My opinion on Mr. Thompson: good writer, bad person. Killing himself – or being assassinated – it was the end he was always headed toward, pedal to the floor, bottle in hand, gun at the ready.

Good writer, is where he parts company with our host, in my opinion.

          • C.O.Jones February 19, 2022 at 9:57 am #

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, Blackbird.

I’ve met neither Mr. Thompson nor Mr. Kunstler but I admire their work.

I have a bookshelf dedicated to Mr. Thompson’s works and have read him since I was in my early teens. Reading Hell’s Angels when I was 14 was an eye-opener.

I cannot say if either Mr. Thompson or Mr. Kunstler was/is a good or bad person – that’s not my call. I will say that Thompson lived the ethos he espoused, sliding into his own funeral sideways, used up, worn out and exclaiming “what a ride!”

I hope Mr. Kunstler outlives me so I can continue reading his insightful, witty and extremely well written work twice a week. My point was Thompson is gone – long live JHK. Both excellent writers.

          • Blackbird February 19, 2022 at 3:46 pm #

I’ve never met either either, I’m just basing my opinion (and that’s all it is) on their writing.

Good? Bad? It’s a judgement call – just as I make when sorting through apples at the farmer’s market.

But I don’t assume that because someone creates something that appeals to me that they are on my side. Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones: good music? (at least some times…) – sure. Good people? Probably not.

    MURDER:

The news, as they say, is murder. Seizing peoples banks accounts, arrests, runs on banks and very possibly a general strike directed a Le “Idi-Yo” Trudeau. How to make it plain? “Hey, people! Government is seizing Bank accounts!” Murder.

Kudos to Mr. Kunstler on a paragraph which outlines with a scalpels precision the last 2 “anno horribilis” years that has changed peoples lives so much and, for many, forever. Murder.

“The great truckers’ convoy that converged on Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, has exposed the ugly truth at the heart of this historic moment for Western Civ: that governments have declared war on their own citizens. It happens that PM Trudeau represents his country’s Liberal Party, which is suddenly the party of unchecked government power to interfere in the lives of citizens, the party of speech suppression, news management, forced unsafe vaccinations, and the seizure of citizens’ property outside due process of law.”

There are many other gems but this in the interests of brevity, here is: “Stand by, now, to find out who has been behind all this deadly mischief. We will rip off their masks and the rule of law will be restored.”

Is is an OBAMA Clique? Is it WEF? Inquiring minds want to know.

Thank you, Mr K. Your optimism is inspiring and comforting somehow. I hope it’s not too late to turn this around. The masks are off on many levels – the lines are drawn. I’s Klaus, Soros, Hillary, and their minions vs the rest of us.

The big problem is that they started this war against us years ago – before we even knew it. They gained control of the media, they gained control of the voting machines, the social media. They funded election of their own ‘people’ to key posts in .gov — presidents, mayors, judges and district attorneys…. a considerable head start.

My mind works … define a problem, make a list of possible solutions, prioritize those solutions based on feasability, break it down into do-able doses, and then get the fuck started. Kiss your cheezo comfort zone goodbye. Read up on the jewish resistance during WW2.

We need to strategize, figure out what and where are our strengths, and where to go from here. A bank run seems like a good start. Withdraw your life’s energy from Turdo’s (or Biden’s) corrupt regime. Withdraw your consent of the governed. Be unruly, be difficult to govern, ask a lot of questions, stop paying taxes. And use the power of prayer to support your brothers and sisters.

it’s also at least half the population of Canada who stand behind the truckers and against the new fashion for tyranny in what used to be called the Free West.

I hate to break it to you, and I wish it weren’t so, but the highest conceivable amount of support the trucker-protest may enjoy in Canada is about a third of the population. If a poll I saw is to be believed, two-thirds of the population support Trudeau’s “emergency measures” for cracking down on the protests.

    • Paul February 19, 2022 at 10:25 am #

I wouldn’t be surprised at the 2/3’s support for the Emergency Measures, and that will probably rise once the occupiers are dispersed.

The legislation being applied right now was enacted by a previous Conservative Government led by Brian Mulroney. It contains a lot of checks and balances that its precursor, The War Measures Act did not.

      It’s worth reading:

      https://www.canlii.org/en/ca/laws/stat/rsc-1985-c-22-4th-supp/latest/rsc-1985-c-22-4th-supp.html?searchUrlHash=AAAAAQANRW1lcmdlbmN5IEFjdAAAAAAB&resultIndex=6

The Constitution defines the provision of “Peace, Order and Good Government” as the broad purpose of the Canadian State.

This purpose is supported by the vast majority of Canadians.

What it boils down to is this: “Nobody gets to block the street.”

“A document just released by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) openly admits that the infamous PCR test for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) was developed not with actual samples of the Chinese Virus, but rather what appears to be genetic material from a common cold virus.

Since the Fauci Flu in any of its ‘variant’ forms has yet to be properly isolated, the FDA instead used regular cold/flu viruses to produce PCR tests – meaning everyone who tests “positive” for Chinese Germs is actually just testing positive for the seasonal flu.”

      Night Owl

You may have something very important here.

What if the whole Covid situation is a enhanced cold virus, not flu, developed by Fauci et al in China that by mischance , or not, escaped and clobbered Wuhan before it spread all over.

Is it the old cold coronavirus that was used as a template for the test and the vaccine? If I remember right, they discovered and charted the s protein pretty quickly and the vaxx showed up very fast. Could it be? Could all the above been in existence already when the alarm went of in Dec 2019?

Who would have been behind the enhanced development, ie who was Fauci’s financial source.

China? USA? WEF? Again, who is the boss here?

      • Night Owl February 19, 2022 at 4:42 pm #

I’ve said it a few times, John. I have yet to see any convincing evidence that a virus exists. I think the illegal research they were doing into gain of function was for the shots. The shots are killing and maiming, and the virus and an unending stream of variants were supposed to be the cover, but that is falling apart.

So we are on to the next phase, which was laid out in the Lockstep scenario. All that matters is if they can get the ID system in place, and that will depend on our continued resistance, which, particularly over the past few weeks, appears to be rather effective.

      • Dr_Wellington_Yueh February 18, 2022 at 3:46 pm #

Yes, and I’m quite sure it’s already happening. This is why Windsor was such a hot issue. Fleet vehicle parts. They don’t give a shit if John Q Public can’t fix his 1998 F-150. They certainly do care if there are no parts for the many F-150s that drive around Edwards AFB, for instance.

We (mostly) don’t hear about it yet. Just a simple matter like maintenance on diesel infrastructure is worrisome. If that goes unmet, there are many critical backups that will be rendered ‘fishnet loincloth’ useless. Last decade, there was a nuke plant (near St Louis?) that got a wee bit submerged in the spring floods. Backup gens for nuke plants gotta have fuel and parts. Will fuel be available? How about bearings? Can we even mass-produce bearing quality steel in this country anymore? Flood season starts in 40 days?

          • stelmosfire February 18, 2022 at 4:59 pm #

Transformers are still made in USA. My city just bought a large one from Pocatello, Idaho. Virginia-Georgia Transformer Co. They kept the old one which still works fine just for a back-up which is good to have. I was looking at their web page and discovered that Crypto Mining power use jumped to 19.4 TWh in April 2021 up from 2.6 TWh in August 2020. A 645% increase in just 8 months. Hoover Dam puts out on average 4.2 TWh annually. Five Hoover dams worth of power for bitcoins this year. Of course the dam puts out less now with the drought and Bitcoin mining is increasing exponentially so it sounds like a good use of energy and a well thought out plan to me.

I bet your friend is trying to figure out how to make CBDCs function as ‘proof of stake’ rather than ‘proof of work’ crypto since stake coins do consume less energy than work coins like Bitcoin.

Stake coins also disproportionately benefit large stakeholders, which would also serve the central bank agenda.

America assumed the role of World Power with a railway based economy. In the early 20th Century, America began a road-building binge largely manned by impressed labor. Male Negroes falsely arrested off the street without “Proof Of Employment” were cited for “Vagrancy”, good for a 30 (usually longer) day job with pick/shovel/wheelbarrow. County road departments were the managers, metropolitan city judiciary officials made sure the manpower was supplied. Wilson & Sloane & Ford & Edison & Chrysler were amenable & multiple Chambers of Commerce complicit. From before WWI until fully mechanized roadbuilding after WWII, massive de facto negro slavery was practiced to assure rubber tire freedom! The ugly existed alongside some good: Early on, along with but not because of, systemic abuse of colored people, America was in the greatest position of a prosperous nation:

“A Lending Not A Borrowing Nation” See Deuteronomy Chapter 15 verse 6. While in Deuteronomy, flip over to Chapter 28 and note vv14/15 transition. America is sliding across the Dt 28 verse 14-15 divide. Fasten your seatbelts…

In the Book of Daniel Chapter 4, a Great Kingdom is analogous to a “Great Tree”, giving good fruit and sheltering many… As the Kingdom gets rotten, it is destroyed. Chapter 4 v-15, in the New International Version, encouragement to a degree is seen: The tree analogy is used to show the roots being bound by straps of iron & brass, preserving the tree for a renewal, a chance to grow again.

This writer, albeit a scoundrel for quoting Scripture; sees America pounded near destruction, yet at least a portion of the Union Of States physically preserved through the Dt 28 v 15 period. What can we make of the bans of Iron & brass other than remnants of the railway matrix? Abraham Lincoln, our Railway president, was Scripture savvy…

Mike Walker publishing in Great Britain offers all time compendium of US railway lines: “SPV Comprehensive Railroad Atlas Of North America” in 15 regional volumes. Some here with an eagle eye over the horizon might consider providing their County OES Office with copy for their respective region? There are about 3000 County Government entities in the USA, and 99% are railway ignorant. For Daniel 4 v-15 to be fulfilled in America truly shall be a Supernatural Event! But the basic trunk rail lines still function, so 100,000+ miles of branch lines are the missing element. Of course, dormant food basket rail links should be Job #1.

Our right honorable web page proprietor knows how to access the comprehensive outline of steps needed for North American railway renaissance if he choses. Give us some hope, Jimbo…

“… Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, is skating on thin ice.”

The Canadian Truckers have body checked the Un-True Doe right into the boards and left him reeling.

The Un-Just One (who is nothing like Prime) thought he could just skate right into the Canadian People’s Zone so he could be Offensive without any hindrance. But the courageous Truckers – who have played a damn good lot of hockey if they are real Canadians – knew just what to do when he swept in with his Cuban-inspired hair locks flying outside his loose helmet to protect what little brain matter might be hidden under there.

So what does UnPrime Unjust UnTrue Mr. DoeFace do then? He sends what used to be called goons in hockey – the guys that are all muscle and no brains or skill – do punch and try to knock down the courageous Truckers.

In a fair game, this would be called a major match penalty and the Mr. Doe would be sent to the showers — perhaps even being assessed a multi-game suspension. But it seems like we’ve all been involved in a Big Game that hasn’t been fair for a long time. So the Goons – and He who sent those rabid dogs into the fray — may go unpunished which seems to be a divine right for anyone who has been initiated into the Dark Cabal of Elitists with delusions of godhood who lust to control everything today and in the future.

“Under the Emergencies Act, Mr. Trudeau’s police have now arrested the leaders of the trucker’s revolt…”

We need a new ‘Emergencies Act’ in which We the People can promptly dispatch to the Penalty Box and then permanently to the showers any of these false gods who encroach in any way upon our Sacred Freedoms.

“Winter is not over but the truth is budding now in a thousand places.”

Like the first green sprouts who dare to appear above the cold and snowy ground of Winter, Truth and our innate right of Freedom is peaking up above the cold snow line.

This has two possible outcomes. The Predator Class will use their Orwellian Boot to stamp the life out of the courageous green sprigs and crush them back into the ground. Or, the Greens of Life will gain enough strength and momentum to withstand the cowardly and nasty attacks upon them by those Predators who fear Truth… who fear Freedom… who fear We the People… and who live only to serve themselves and abuse We the People by slamming us into the boards and stomping on our green sprouts of Spring and Freedom.

And where are the damn Referees in all this? Is there no one left to bring order this Game of Chaos and Abuse? Blow your damn whistles and call some penalties already!

Just when nobody liked or needed the police, look who offers them a lifeline?
      The irony.
      The ruling elites.

And boy did they jump for it.

Now, you can fool yourself and believe that most of these people are not the type of people who get off on a gun and a badge and a power trip, but you would be sorely mistaking.

That is exactly who 90% of these people are.
Now they have their gun, their badge, and a mission to prove their value… to those who pay them.

      By design.
      Once
      and again.

They actually used draft horses to stomp down the resistors.
      Pretty brutal.
You have to wonder what kind of person would do such a thing. It’s not like the police are making big bucks off Big Pharma, so there is no monetary reward.
It has to be pure sadism.

The way I see it, there is not enough popular outrage in Canada.

Hence, Trudeau is getting away with this. He got around 32% of the popular vote, a tad less than the Conservatives. About the same percent of votes Adolf Hitler got in 1933.

The styles may be very different, the parallels are interesting and disturbing.

Let’s see how long this clip of the horses trampling people
        stays up:

In NYC, this Mayor Adams chap is proving somewhat of a disappointment. He billed himself as a consummate crime fighter, a mayor for all people, a man who would bring law and order to the streets of the city. But then he swore in his new Police Commissioner in front of a mural showing Angela Davis and some woman who gunned down a NJ state trooper back in the day. On day 1 his chief prosecutor released a long list of CRIMES HIS OFFICE WOULD NOT PROSECUTE, and the list was long. Then a recording was released (after the election) where Mayor Adams calls his fellow white NYPD officers “crackers”, and states “I just want to smoke weed all day”. Last week when a pretty young Asian girl had her throat slit in an assault in Manhattan by an African American man, the mayor blew up at a press conference, accusing the assembled reporters of racism. Now, today, as a way to deal with attempted rapes, assaults, and subway riders pushed into tracks in front of moving trains, Hizzoner announced a plan to dispatch school nurses and city social workers into the bloody and grimy subterranean labyrinth, leaving people scratching their heads. 6 weeks in and it’s already falling apart. On the other hand, in NYC (and Chicago, LA and dozens of other cities), this is what they vote for, time and again.

Brandon’s ultimate goal is to “punish Russia” by turning of NS2 to Europe. More like punish the EU by making them dependent on US LNG, which is a long way out from delivery either way. The stupid lapdog Euros are caught in the middle, trying to appease their masters in DC, while knowing that their best interests actually lie with Russia. It’s funny watching all this play out, as Russia actually holds all the cards in this little preschool level psycho-drama. (Jimmy Joe says he’s gonna beat you up after school! Oh yeah, well I’ve got some tough friends who’ll be there too, so we’ll just see about that!)

Evidently Brandon’s “address” was just more of the same ol’, same ol’. No surprise there. But it had been a while since I watched FOX. Wasn’t the US also trying arrange LNG supply from Qatar to Europe?

        • Disaffected February 18, 2022 at 7:18 pm #

I think they’d pretty much have to, as the EU doesn’t have the port facilities to receive large amounts of LNG yet. Trouble is, the whole middle east is in play now too. Bingo on the grifting!

Don’t know if you mean Alba the ‘character’ or Alba the country, but we’re both still here, and the weather, which was getting quite wild, has settled down, at least here in the mini-metropolis. 🙂

We’ve seen hardly any snow this year, but there was a light sprinkling on the garden this morning, not even enough to last till lunch time. Two mornings ago there was one lonely old slate blown off the roof and sticking menacingly into the grass at a slight angle, looking like a mini version of an ancient gravestone in an old churchyard, and giving an insight into what it would have done had it sliced into someone’s head instead.

But now we have a lovely blue sky, although it is nippy.

I think Putin is in on it too. I think they all are. The Russian people (like the Chinese) are already poor, no need to reduce them further. Russia is already wedded to the New Hegemon – China – so no need to beat them into submission.

Mexico? No, I think the cartels are in business with Schwab and Co. They have done the job of reducing Mexico to a chicken with its head cut off.

          • Blackbird February 19, 2022 at 3:11 pm #

            Islander,

I don’t have any evidence that Putin is in on it. You don’t have any evidence that he isn’t. All we have are our opinions.

But I’ll summarize the reasons for my opinion:

“Covid” is the tool to usher in “the Great Reset”.

The Great Reset is all about destroying the rich states of the west, and reducing the remaining population to servitude (a la China) to serve our new Chinese masters.

Russia is already poor – but resource rich. Russia is already wedded to China. No need to break Russia.

The U$ and our toadies are an existential threat to Russia.

Russia can have normal, mutually-beneficial relations with the west once the U$ is dethroned.

No reason for Russia not to support the Plandemic and the Great Reset – well except that the Russian people will be serfs once again. When has a Russian government not found that beneficial?

          • Islander February 19, 2022 at 8:23 pm #

“When has a Russian government not found that beneficial?”

I have been following Putin’s leadership fo years. I also have a good and well-placed friend in Russia.

He would not agree with your snarky, ingorant assessment, and neither do I.

Your “evidence” is hypothetical, based mainly on projections. This is the MO of our MSM.

          • Islander February 19, 2022 at 8:29 pm #

            Re “I have been following Putin’s leadership . . .”

IOW, I have watched him in multiple press conferences, I have seen how he responds to questions in marathon sessions with both journalists and average Russian citizens and ensures follow-up from his aides, I have watched videos of him as he inspects both military and major civilian projects such as the Kerch Strait Bridge, I have watched him walking among regular citizens of St. Petersburg on Victory Day, carrying a portrait of his father, who died in in the Great War, I have seen the people he chooses to surround himself such as Sergei Lavrov and Shoigu, etc., and I have witnessed his consistency in presenting the long-term interests of the Russian state and the Russian people.

So, IMO your comments about Putin and where he has led and is leading Russia are pi pi d’un chat.

          • Blackbird February 20, 2022 at 2:46 pm #

Islander, apparently you are not familiar with my previous comments about Putin and Russia. My opinions are about as far from the MSM as they can be while still inhabiting the same universe.

I think Russia, in its current incarnation, is less oppressive to the Russian people, less of a threat to its neighbors, and less of a danger to “world peace” than any government Russia has had in its history. I think Putin is one of the most skilled – if not the most skilled – statesmen on the world stage today.

That said, I also think that Russia stands to benefit from the Great Reset, unlike the U$ or the west.

          • MaryQueen February 20, 2022 at 9:17 pm #

Blackbird, Islander believes in leaders (still).

Sorry, Islander – I find that to be your biggest weakness.

Says the person who thinks 667 athletes having heart attacks on the field, and 414 of them dying, in one year (against a normal standard of about half a dozen), is nothing to see.

Probaby best to go back to sleep.

As with ‘ianw’, one has to wonder why you bother reading a blog full of hysterical posters. Any idea why your mate went AWOL? He disappeared before his booster (22 Jan, a Saturday, yeah, right), so we can presume he wasn’t one of those unlucky folks who have died of a ‘coincidence’.

It is astounding that anyone would believe the known liars at the government and media when they announce that ”Russia” blew up a pipeline in Ukraine.
It was only TWO days ago that they were shown to be lying about the Feb. 16th invasion. American memories can’t last 2 days?
It seemed obvious to me that when the US failed to provoke Russia into invading Ukraine they would up the ante.
First, a hole in a kindergarten, followed immediately by the Mighty Wurlitzer press, who took photos and spread it all over the world within hours. Because, you know, the “news” comes from fearless journalists traipsing through a war zone and then filing their reports without fear or favor.
How could anyone be dim enough to believe this bull?
The beatings will continue until Russia responds and then Nordstream 2 will be cancelled, throwing Germany into a cold depression.
    But yeah, “Russians”.

One post reads: “Kissinger Quote from a speech to the WHO Council on Eugenics, February 25, 2009: ‘Once the herd accepts mandatory vaccinations, it’s game over. They will accept anything – forcible blood or organ donation – ‘for the greater good’. We can genetically modify children and sterilize them — ‘for the greater good’. Control sheep minds and you control the herd. Vaccine makers stand to make billions. And many of you in this room are investors. It’s a big win-win. We thin out the herd and the herd pays us for extermination services….’”

Jarek: All fact checkers deny that this was ever said or that this even ever happened. I must say that a “WHO council on eugenics” sounds a bit off. The Elite believe in eugenics, of course. All sane people do. But they’re far too clever to talk about it openly. That would go against what their other hand is doing, leveling humanity a la Communism and Equity.

    • Paula D February 19, 2022 at 8:29 pm #

I would think that you of all people would know what ”eugenics” is, Jarek.
It means improvement of the human species with selective breeding, the way we do with other animal species.
Most people use “eugenics” to mean “mass murder”, but obviously indiscriminate mass murder does nothing to improve the species.
      I expected more from you.

      • Islander February 19, 2022 at 8:32 pm #

Well, assuming the smarties are the ones who refuse the jabs, the results of the current eugenics experiment should be interesting.

Problem is, they won’t be published, and the refuseniks are probably mostly long in the tooth and won’t be around to interpret the results.

        • Paula D February 20, 2022 at 4:06 pm #

That’s assuming that the goal is to create smarter people.

      • Jarek February 20, 2022 at 12:50 am #

Yeah, that’s the pop connotation (which they encourage), so obviously I doubt that they actually used it in the title of a conference.

A dumb post, Paula. I don’t like your name btw.

FYI, there is positive and negative eugenics. The positive is – oh never mind. You’re hopeless.

You support abortion, right? That’s eugenics! If you can’t understand that much, what’s the point of giving you more.

        • Paula D February 20, 2022 at 3:16 pm #

Abortion is not eugenics. Women don’t abort because they are trying to improve the species.

Last week Tesla lost 40 of his 49 Starlink satellites, knocked from the sky by a solar flare. (Of course, no mention of this on main stream media)

I fear once the Starlink 5G Global Network is complete, this will allow Klaus and the boys to deploy their digital passport.

Yes, the real goal of Starlink is rapid expansion of the global control grid.

It will be particularly valuable for quickly expanding the grid to rural areas that would otherwise require huge efforts to install miles of icky telephone lines strung from telephone poles.

MURDERED UBER DRIVER & MOTHER OF FOUR BEGGED PASSENGER NOT TO KILL HER

To no avail. This happened in Allegheny County, outside of Pittsburgh. The UBER driver was Christi Spicuzzo, age 38, the killer was Club Member and Gangsta Calvin Hill, age 22. Motive? Well it was a robbery, and as Calvin stated to his girlfriend in a text ” I don’t want to go back to prison.” What more motive do you need? I know that citing all these Asian and White woman being pushed onto RR tracks (NYC) stabbed to death while at work (LA) and shot in the back of the head (Pittsburgh) is getting tedious and redundant. Ladies, take steps to protect yourselves. Don’t expect any help or protection from official circles; quite the contrary, MSM won’t even acknowledge the problem, as any acknowledgement would be racist. You’re on your own. Indeed, a local news org. has announced they will be extending Black History Month an extra 2 weeks as a single month is not enough time to report on all the wonderful accomplishments going on in de hood. Yet, except for the NY Post they routinely skip over these daily atrocities, which seem to happen EVERY SINGLE DAY.

        Another, thankfully rare criminal type:

Wiki: Males with XYY syndrome have 47 chromosomes because of the extra Y chromosome. This condition is also sometimes called Jacob’s syndrome, XYY karyotype, or YY syndrome. According to the National Institutes of Health, XYY syndrome occurs in 1 out of every 1,000 boys.

Civilization. Ha! C’mon man! Really? Seriously?

Four centuries ago, the French began in earnest to create an empire in North America. They were far more cooperative with the indigenous people than were the Brits or the Spaniards. Many Jesuits and other intellectuals actually listened to some great native thought leaders, aka philosophers, and found their ideas and analyses quite cogent, committing their wisdom to the pages of history. Now, it seems a substantial and growing number of historians think The Enlightenment was heavily influenced by, or even kicked off by their ideas and critiques of “Western Civilization.”

The French were appalled by the natives’ occasional torture of captured enemy warriors, for example. Some changed their tunes, however, when a Wendat wise man reminded them of the Europeans’ own appalling treatment of their very own soldiers on the regular. It was shocking to the wise man, and seemed sickeningly perverse. He couldn’t fathom how the Europeans could disgrace themselves by such hideous treatment of their own people. It was blatantly uncivilized. How could the people of Europe allow themselves to be mistreated by only a handful of powerful men? Why had they not brought them low by now? He deemed it insane.

That’s us. That’s Western Civ for ya!

“As the Quebecois historian Denys Delâge points out, Wendat who visited France were equally appalled by the tortures exhibited during public punishments and executions, but what struck them as most remarkable is that ‘the French whipped, hanged, and put to death men from among themselves ’, rather than external enemies. The point is telling, as in seventeenth-century Europe, Delâge notes,

… almost all punishment, including the death penalty, involved severe physical suffering: wearing an iron collar, being whipped, having a hand cut off, or being branded … It was a ritual that manifested power in a conspicuous way, thereby revealing the existence of an internal war. The sovereign incarnated a superior power that transcended his subjects, one that they were compelled to recognise … While Amerindian cannibal rituals showed the desire to take over the strength and courage of the alien so as to combat him better, the European ritual revealed the existence of a dissymmetry, an irrevocable imbalance of power”

I’m not even sure which one it was that blew the single slate off the roof, St E (that appears to be the only damage!), as I haven’t been following closely enough. But I agree wtih those who thiink that this new fashion of naming storms, as has always been done with hurricanes over your way, is deliberately aimed at frightening people, as is the practice with everything these days.

I don’t like going out when it’s really windy, as the surrounding buildings are four storeys and there are rows of chimneys. Years ago there was an Australian girl killed in town when one came down outside the bar whe was working in. After that they tightened up the regulations about having roofs inspected regularly. About half the households in Edinburgh live in Victorian or Georgian tenements, so there are a lot of chimneys that could fall a long way down, and we’re known as the windy city.

      https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/b/view-medieval-city-scottish-edinburgh-rooftops-132352403.jpg

That’s actually the Old Town. The New Town is Georgian and less higgledy piggledly, like the Victorian additions, but I love the chimneys (when it’s not windy!)

      • stelmosfire February 19, 2022 at 12:37 pm #

Wow, that’s quite a picture. I imagine those chimney’s all lead down inside to coal burning fireplaces/stoves? No wonder Burt the sweep was always covered in black soot. I have a couple coal burning fireplaces in my Victorians and the steam boiler in my house is an old coal burner converted to fuel oil.

        • GreenAlba February 19, 2022 at 2:45 pm #

Edinburgh’s nickname is Auld Reekie, from the smoke and smells of days gone by, but it’s been a long time since the fires burned coal. Cities and towns were made ‘smokeless zones’ after thousands of people died in ‘pea soupers’ in London. We had a coke fire in our 50s house in England when was a kid.

In the tenements here most of the fires are converted, with reproduction Victorian tiled inserts in the old fireplaces, and gas fires with pretend coal, or the recently fashionable stoves. Others are just closed off and not used, except for decoration.

      • SoftStarLight February 19, 2022 at 1:22 pm #

higgledy piggledly lol I had to look that one up! And even though the tenements are very close together the Victorian style has a charm and quaintness. Georgian seems a little more austere and minimalist?

        • GreenAlba February 19, 2022 at 3:06 pm #

The New Town, which is Georgian, is a World Heritage Site. Some of the posh streets are majestic. Victorian is a step down, but still elegant (although, like anywhere, there are poor streets – think Trainspotting!)

The Old Town, part of which is in that picture, is what’s left of the medieval city, although the buildings have obviously been upgraded over time. Shame you can’t visit and we could have had that scone and tea!

It’s a shame what they did to Princes St in the 60s, so best to keep your eyes on the Castle/Gardens side of the street! And a lot of the businesses have, of course, suffered hugely from lockdown and may not recover. So goodness knows what it will become.

But they can’t take that castle view away, or the views from the top of Charlotte St, Castle St and Hanover St etc. across the Forth to Fife.

I only heard about the spooky stories maybe a decade ago, from a tourist booklet I bought for a friend. But I think I remember my daughter saying she worked in a local nursery/kindergarten one time and no-one would go down to the undercroft on their own, because there were strange chills and weird stuff. I couldn’t possibly comment!

I’ve always been one of those people who ‘doesn’t believe in ghosts’ but would be terrified by unexplained things going bump in the night. So I have no opinion. 🙂

Heels Up to Europe while Brandon cowers at home for the cameras. Boy, that’ll show them damn Russkies! Maybe Ze wants to get a load of that jiggle too?

According to Saker the Ukronazis are already moving on Donbass. Looks like they’re going to force Putin’s hand. It was always going to come to this. Latest proposed US sanctions allegedly will NOT include disruptions to Russian energy exports or disconnect from SWIFT. Smart move, since those two measures would exhaust every sanction arrow in the quiver. The US would then have to put up or shut up militarily, a move the Pentagon certainly knows would be disastrous for them. Bullies don’t generally like to get their ass kicked, especially after little old Afghanistan essentially just did that. Some serious butt-hurt coming DC’s way. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch of scoundrels. Gallows or guillotines? Fuck it! Let’s use BOTH!

Justin Trudeau goes into hiding to protect himself from truckers and kids with bouncy castles and that is just fine with our ruling overlords, but Zelensky is roundly excoriated by the US for ”abandoning Kiev” when he was EXPLICITLY ordered to stay right there for the newest Russian Invasion!
The rest of the west got the hell out of there already, burning files and destroying computers and fleeing to Lviv, but Zelensky was told to stay there.
But he dint want to miss the big party! He was a scheduled speaker!
Why should he stay in Kiev to be assassinated by the “Russians”?
      Doh! Curses, foiled again!
The US kicks and mutters about ungrateful Slavs.
The whole “Feb. 16th invasion” didn’t work out so the back-up plan was to have Zelensky killed by the Evil Russians.
And then he goes and flies to Munich.

NEW – Bill Gates: “Sadly the virus itself – particularly the variant called Omicron – is a type of vaccine, creates both B cell and T cell immunity and it’s done a better job of getting out to the world population than we have with vaccines.”

Lazy fuckers. Too lazy, stupid, or scared to develop a really new disease, they had hoped force and fraud would take them all the way.

Some of the comments are good. As in “Why sadly”? Or “I have the same medical degree as Bill Gates.”

Anglin says they admit that the common cold give immunity to covid, so none of this ever made any sense anyway. But people being the sheep that they are, countless millions have damned themselves by believing these monsters. We owe them Justice in their lifetimes, their shortened lifetimes….

    When Prophecy Fails

In 1954 Leon Festinger, a brilliant young experimental social psychologist in the process of outlining a new theory of human behavior – the theory of cognitive dissonance – and his colleagues infiltrated a cult who believed the end of the world was only months away. How would these people feel when their prophecy remained unfulfilled? Would they admit the error of their prediction, or would they readjust their reality to make sense of the new circumstances?

“We’ve all experienced the futility of trying to change a strong conviction, especially if the convinced person has some investment in his belief. We’re familiar with the variety of ingenious defenses with which people protect their convictions, managing to keep them unscathed thru the most devastating attacks. But human resourcefulness goes beyond simply protecting a belief. Suppose an individual believes something with a whole heart; suppose further a commitment to this belief, suppose irrevocable actions have been taken because of it; finally, suppose evidence, unequivocal and undeniable evidence, that the belief is wrong: what will happen? The individual will frequently emerge, not only unshaken, but even more convinced of the truth of such beliefs than ever before. Indeed, s/he may even show a new fervor about convincing and converting others to this view. How and why does such a response to contradictory evidence come about? This is the question on which this book focuses. We hope that, by the end of the volume, we will have provided an adequate answer to the question, an answer documented by data.”

When Prophecy Fails is a classic text in social psychology authored by L. Festinger, H. Riecken and S. Schachter. It chronicles the experience of a UFO cult that believed the end of the world was at hand. In effect, it’s a sociopsychological study of a modern group that predicted the destruction of the world & the adjustments made when the prediction failed to materialize.

“The authors have done something as laudable as it is unusual for social psychologists. They espied a fleeting social movement important to a line of research they were interested in and took after it. They recruited a team of observers, joined the movement & watched it from within under great difficulties until its crisis came and went. Their report is of interest as much for the method as for the substance.”–Everett C. Hughes, The American Journal of Sociology.

Jarek: A study in cognitive dissonance. To deny the Truth of the Cult is to deny yourself since you have invested all of yourself into it. A bad investment? It can’t be! As at the gaming tables of Las Vegas, one attempt to win back the lost money (or trust) by doubling down.

Another example: One young man lost his father, brother and fiance to the insane sport of “wing walking” (much as it sounds). So he gave it up, right? Wrong. How could he? That would be to betray the memories of those he loved the most. His very virtue defends the madness.

Lots of frills, lace, and all that sort of thing. Of course the women would have the option of the flowing long dresses with corsets and bustiers underneath. Little lace fans and extravagant hats, of course. Make for a nice multi-cultural look that you love to see in your blatantly corrupt pompous ass “civil servants.” It would say, “We’re ridiculous and we don’t care. Suck on it little people! Jaros, I have pretty much ignored Bitcoin since I’m not in a position to participate. But my opinion? I always have an opinion!

I think Bitcoin is a good opportunity for those with the means (spare cash) to make a quick buck. Get in, make some money, pull your original investment out, make some more money, keep withdrawing your dividends. With your newly-gained fake money buy land, silver, and lead – real assets.

Ultimately Bitcoin will collapse and/or be seized and everyone still riding that carousel will be fucked. Also, Bitcoin is to lull us into accepting digital cash – at which point we will all be fucked.

Bit coin is not for the average Joe. In addition, it’s another step away from reality, just a playground for the rich and the tech savvy, even though it is becoming more mainstream day by day, sadly enough.

Corporations and banks will use it when they need to camouflage their questionable undertakings.

Go back about 12 years to the likes of Ross Ulbricht and the Silk Road, Ross who wanted a different, new kind of online market to sell what you couldn’t sell in regular markets. First it was psychedelic mushrooms. Then LSD and ecstasy.

He needed Tor to hide identity and location, and he needed bitcoin to anonymize the buyers.

‘Digital Gold, Bitcoin And The Inside Story Of The Misfits and Millionaires Trying to Reinvent Money’ by Popper is a good place to get a sense of the ‘noble’ aspirations behind bitcoin and its subsequent growth, hacking, and banking industry reaction.

Even JP Morgan had a Bitcoin Working Group. From the book:

“This JP Morgan group began secretly working with the other major banks in the country, all of which are part of an organization known as The Clearing House, on a bold experimental effort to create a new blockchain that would be jointly run by the computers of the largest banks and serve as the backbone for a new, instant payment system that might replace Visa, MasterCard, and wire transfers.

“Such a blockchain would not need to rely on the anonymous miners powering the bitcoin blockchain. But it could ensure there would no longer be a single point of failure in the payment network. If Visa’s systems came under attack, all the stores using Visas were screwed. But if one bank maintaining a blockchain came under attack, all the other banks could keep the blockchain going.”

All that notwithstanding, Bitcoin should be blown to bits. Our money has nothing to support it except our faith in it. Bitcoin lessens that faith and is the beginning of the installation of a detestable digital currency.

Interesting points. The alternative is simply where they want us to go anyway.

I put my money in metals – the dealers as a group are the most dishonest people I’ve ever dealt with. And of course the metals never did anything but go up and down within very definite limits. Someday an ounce of gold may against buy a first class suit or rifle. But it may not be in this cycle or civilization. The Economy will rebalance itself eventually – but with fewer people each time it goes down.

      • elysianfield February 19, 2022 at 6:34 pm #

        Jarek,
Metals…you think the bastards you had to deal with were dishonest?

Fun fact…wait until you try to sell them.

The Old Pawnbroker? He put his money into machine tools.

        • Jarek February 19, 2022 at 7:42 pm #

I think I’ve found a good one. I offended him by walking out and later realized I was in the wrong and that he was a good man, perhaps the last honest dealer.

        • BackRowHeckler February 20, 2022 at 9:06 am #

There’s some honest dealers out there, E.

A few summers ago we took a drive down to the Sound, had a seafood dinner at a little place outside Mystic. There was a municipal beach nearby, actually I was just F’ ing around with a metal detector killing time when I found a ring with a stone in it. My wife thought it was junk jewelry, I figured at the very least it was silver. I brought it to an antique and precious metals dealer I knew of to see what I had. He said this is not silver but platinum, and the stone is a diamond! He could have told me anything; I was impressed with his honesty. Needless to say this is where I go now to get my stuff appraised and sometimes sell.

          • elysianfield February 20, 2022 at 11:53 am #

            BRH, Jerek, et al;

Of course there are honest people in the trade…many, when they can afford to be.

In times of stress, things will change, and usually not for the better..

      • Blackbird February 19, 2022 at 8:13 pm #

“Someday an ounce of gold may against (that’s ye old for ‘again’, right?) buy a first class suit or rifle.”

Either you have expensive tastes in suits and rifles, or you are expecting gold to plummet in value someday.

I recommend silver. How ya gonna buy a loaf of bread with gold?

And lead – to get more silver, gold, and bread.

          • BackRowHeckler February 20, 2022 at 7:53 am #

Lead is laying around everywhere. We used to go into a nearby junkyard and remove wheel weights from old cars — pure lead.

CFNers, save a few Ozs. of silver to melt down and fashion into bullets — for when the Night of the Vampire arrives.

Save the silver for Werewolves. A simple wooden stick works for the blood sucker/bankers. Silver works for Vampires but usually just slows them down and gives you enough time for the wooden stake trick.

‘it’s also at least half the population of Canada who stand behind the truckers and against the new fashion for tyranny in what used to be called the Free West.’ JHK

This simply isn’t accurate. Find out for yourself, look it up folks.

The truck stops with Trudeau. He’s the national leader so what did these truckers expect? This outcome was inevitable, and it will be the same thing here, however much you wish it were otherwise.

The truckers didn’t have union support. They had a legitimate complaint that a lot of Canadians were sympathetic to, but most didn’t support their methods.

The ‘Free West’ never did like disruptive, harmful, mob rule. Strong or supine, you can’t have it both ways. Don’t think for a second that liberals are weak.

That only sounds impressive if, like the Graun, and other globalist shills, you neglect to mention that there are were 50,000 trucks in the convoy..

Q, Rutgers is ranked 75th nationally; that won’t get you into the NCAAs.

        From the Taoist canon:

Some one asked a centipede how he managed his hundred legs. He thought about it and said, he didn’t know. And then he couldn’t walk any more either.

Similarly, freshmen have been asked how do they know they’re not gay for years now. I assume soon they’ll be asked how do they know they’re not female if male or not male if female. Being unable to answer will be proof that they have it wrong.

If the sun were to doubt, it would immediately go out as Blake said. Fools rushing in were angels fear to tread – on the psyches of the young? Or Destroyers who know well what they’re about?

Freedom? To destroy the delicate machinery of the mind? To ruin social morale and lower public morality? Crushing destroyers like this is an important part of the providence of the warrior caste. Thus are gay pride parades broken up in Holy Russia.

    Breitbart

A new advertising campaign by the New York Times is embracing the transgender community’s ongoing attacks on author J.K. Rowling by spotlighting a subscriber named “Lianna” who would like to see Rowling erased from the Harry Potter canon.

The ad campaign, which launched this week, promotes the newspaper’s so-called “independent journalism” while also promoting the Gray Lady as a lifestyle brand. The ads profile four different subscribers from different demographics, each of whom has apparently made the newspaper an integral part of their lives.

In one of the ads, “Lianna” — who appears to be transgender or gender non-binary — engages in a free association of thoughts and ideas, which include “breaking the [gender] binary,” spending a “week in crossword land,” and “imagining Harry Potter without its creator.”

The Times is reportedly running the ads in major cities, including Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Atlanta. A version of the “Lianna” ad appeared in the D.C. Metro system, including the attack on Rowling.

Rowling has come under vicious attack by transgender activists who object to her belief that gender is biological. The author has also expressed her concern that women are being degraded by terms like “people who menstruate.”

“I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth,” she tweeted.

Jarek: I’m afraid she’s in love with her oppressors. Thought to be fair, there are some trans people who hate the mass movement and drive to power they have been enabled in.

Rowling is a self made woman, not only a very successful novelist, but a fine essayist. And of course, a mother. Lianna is a whole lot of nothing.

How long before they just stop putting her name on her books? Or stop paying royalties….

You still think you have rights? Quaint. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but they’re going to change all of those customs.

We have a Bill of Rights, but it’s meaningless too, ultimately. Even the 2nd Amendment doesn’t protect us – the guns do. And they don’t do anything of their own accord. Failing the Will to Power, we have nothing either.

Swiss men used to take their rifles along when they went to vote. They still have rifles at home, but without ammunition. They’ve been defanged and declawed. Taking a rifle now would just be an exercise in self mockery, not pride.

        • GreenAlba February 20, 2022 at 4:31 pm #

I meant now. Once everything changes, no-one is going to be worrying about Harry Potter novels. Probably not even Jo Rowling.

    • Soul Forensics February 20, 2022 at 2:14 pm #

“imagining Harry Potter without its creator.”

This is the logical conclusion to the pernicious 1960s ideas of deconstructionist Roland Barthes’ The Death of the Author.

In this insane postulation, the author is just the “suggesting” force, the spur, to which any reader has just as much authority as the ‘author’ as to the novel’s meaning and relevance. No ordering power, no authority, all horizontal. The curse of democratic conversation.

I haven’t read any Potter books, but, (e.g.) if Rowling thought, say, that witches represented evil or at least mischievous spirits that needed to be watched, and Dayglo Viper transpersonhood thought that the witches in the book represented transformative righteousness, then the latter idea would have just as much sway, in fact more, since it wasn’t ‘contaminated’ by authorial manipulation.

      • Jarek February 20, 2022 at 2:36 pm #

Novels as “text”, eh? We are co-creators with Beethoven, Shakespeare, nay God herself!

        • Soul Forensics February 20, 2022 at 3:38 pm #

Derrida emphasized the “signifier” and the “signified”. More highfalutin than Barthes, this other French asshole constructed (rather ironic procedure, what?, in a deconstructionist frenzy) a shell-and-pea game in which the aforesaid witches would represent some other symbol — in fact, a tortured metaphor — to parallel whatever fetish or self-asserting inanity the (in this case) trannies desired.

    • SoftStarLight February 20, 2022 at 2:56 pm #

Wow! I’m a little surprised you missed it but there is an additional and extremely important layer to Lianna’s intersectionality. Lianna is a person of color. Perhaps the question needs to be redirected as to why an apparently supreme being such as Lianna needs to appropriate the creations of a lower order cis white woman?

Taking Up Space: The Unprecedented AOC

A stunning four-color biography of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the bestselling tradition of Notorious RBG and Pelosi that explores her explosive rise and impact on the future of American culture and politics.

The candidate was young—twenty-eight years old, a child of Puerto Rico, the Bronx, and Yorktown Heights. She was working as a waitress and bartender. She was completely unknown, and taking on a ten-term incumbent in a city famous for protecting its political institutions. “Women like me aren’t supposed to run for office,” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said in a video launching her campaign, the camera following her as she hastily pulled her hair into a bun. But she did. And in perhaps the most stunning upset in recent memory, she won. At twenty-nine, she was sworn in as the youngest member of the 116th Congress and became the youngest woman to serve as a representative in United States history.

Before long, Ocasio-Cortez had earned her own shorthand title—AOC—and was one of the most talked-about public figures (loved and loathed) in the world. Her natural ability to connect with everyday people through the social media feeds grew her following into the multimillions. Every statement she made, every tweet and Instagram Live, went viral, and her term had barely begun before people were speculating that she could one day be president. The question seemed to be on everyone’s mind: How did this woman come from nowhere to acquire such influence, and so fast?

Now, in Take Up Space, that question is answered through a kaleidoscopic biography by the editors of New York magazine that features the riveting account of her rise by Lisa Miller, an essay by Rebecca Traister that explains why she is an unprecedented figure in American politics, and multiform explorations (reportage, comic, history, analysis, photography) of AOC’s outsize impact on American culture and politics. Throughout, AOC is revealed in all her power and vulnerability, and understood in the context of the fast-changing America that made her possible—and perhaps even inevitable.

Jarek: Cortez, a rich kid who grew up in Westchester county, has her face as the cover of her new “biography”. Her forehead and chin don’t even fit, so the camera must have been only inches away, revealing her heavily made up face, and its foundation of lies.

    • SoftStarLight February 20, 2022 at 3:05 pm #

Ya’ll are relentless lol. Endurance x infinity. It’s some sort of Tucker set up. She is angrily demanding he be deplatformed and she said he was a pendejo essentially for calling her a rich white girl. I see opportunity where she messed up but I’m not in politics. Demanding for an interview on his show would be an appropriate escalation in my political calculation.

      • Jarek February 20, 2022 at 3:09 pm #

She must agree to have the camera inches from her face, even closer than the book cover. Perhaps focused on her lying, crimson lips, drunk of the blood of the saints. Or perhaps a zit on her nose….

        • SoftStarLight February 20, 2022 at 4:36 pm #

That would be awful terms. But then again beggers can’t be choosers. It will be truly interesting to see what Tucker’s response is. You’re criticism may sound exaggerated or what have you but it’s apt. AOC did choose the Whore of Babylon over pure democratic socialism.

I don’t wear lipstick. But I do “paint” my eyes sometimes so hopefully my sins are halved accordingly

I’ve been preaching to Ann too. She’s my teacher, but am I not also hers?

She has this huge fantasy about living in the 1950’s when people dressed better (true). She won’t even go out to put out the trash without wearing a dress, lady gloves, and full makeup.

No response yet. I’m not trying to bug her, just letting her know that’s she gone off on a tangent. The Fathers are against it. She’s trying to live by their Teachings and I respect that, so she should know. So I’ve told her. I’ll leave it at that.

I like dresses and would love it if women dressed up more like that, at least sometimes.

Same old video. This is what drew my attention:

Nations are breaking, Israel’s awaking, The signs that the prophets foretold; The Gentile days numbered with horrors encumbered; Eternity soon will unfold.

Can’t wait to get us out of the way. The curse of Christian Zionism or worship of the enemies of our Lord.

Christians are the Chosen People. God divorced the Jews. It’s not unfair because they can become Christians as individuals. I admit there’s a possibility of a national awakening for them under the tutelage of Elijah (one of the two witnesses) during the Tribulation. Enoch will be preaching to every one else.

But until then, avoid stuff like this like the plague.

          • CrusherMuldoon February 20, 2022 at 7:42 pm #

Yes, I am. For starters, please tell me where in the Bible it says that the Jews are no longer God’s Chosen People. Quote me Chapter and verse.

            Isaiah 14:1
[1] For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

          • Jarek February 20, 2022 at 9:27 pm #

Christ said, Soon they will throw you out of the Synagogues and consider kill you a good deed.

And that the new wine must be put into new skins, or the new wine would split the old skins. So clearly Christianity was not just to be more Judaism, but something different and new. But something different, but just for Jews? No since Paul was sent to the Gentiles.

My interpretation was wrong. Jarek is right. I am wrong. Mea culpa mea maxima culpa

      • Anthea February 24, 2022 at 11:25 am #

        @ Jarek:

I have sometimes speculated that, if the Jews are/were in fact the “chosen people,” perhaps it is because they are the particular objects of the Divine Mercy: kind of like the lost sheep in the parable where the shepherd leaves the ninety-nine to go in search of the lost one.

Christianity affirms over and over that the salvation of “those in most need of thy mercy” gives particular glory to God.

As far as I can tell, Conservative Judaism is basically a highly ritualized and committed version of atheism. It is hence anti-religious, anti-God, and hence arguably Satanic. According to scripture, Jesus remarked on this:

“They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”

So perhaps Jesus being born a Jew was a signal grace, in order that their eventual conversion might give the greatest possible glory to God.

When it comes right down to it, we’ll burn every last stick of furniture if we have to to keep the current arrangements going. “Green energy” be damned.

Speaking of which, NASCAR is officially back at it again with their annual love fest at Daytona. Given all the tech upgrades they’ve made this year (notably 18″ wheels to enable bigger brake rotors and calipers), I’m surprised the tree huggers haven’t made a sufficient stink to make them convert to electric yet. The ICE is definitely on its way out for new street vehicles now, so surely NASCAR can’t holdout much longer either.

      • BackRowHeckler February 20, 2022 at 4:47 pm #

The was an EV race a few years ago at one of the NASCAR tracks; cars ended up running out of juice about 2/3 of the way thru.

Something curious about the EV revolution. Rivian is planning a new plant in Georgia, yet they haven’t sold any trucks from their Indianapolis plant yet. I must be missing something. Disaffected, do you see a demand for what amounts to a compact pick up truck with a range of 300 miles — for $83,000?

The whole goddam thing — Rivian, Lucent ($170,000), the new 9,500 lb.. Hummer ($137,000) et.al. seems like a huge scam.

        • Disaffected February 20, 2022 at 5:55 pm #

Not from me, that’s for sure. But I’m sure the well to do will enjoy some new environmentally correct toys to play with, for the time being anyway. The charging stations – or lack thereof – provide the first significant obstacle. Then there’s the grid’s ability to handle all that juice. Like the internet now, where bandwidth’s beginning to be an issue (I’ve been getting cut off regularly lately, in part I’m sure because I work from home and transmit a lot of data back and forth), the grid was never designed to support millions of wealthy customers charging heavy vehicles constantly. There’s a crunch coming soon when all these expectations finally meet reality.

          • Socrates-Detroit February 21, 2022 at 12:55 am #

Where will they charge the vehicles in the day?

            Where will urban dwellers charge?

EVs are useful as local commercial delivery vans, and even then…

            There is a crunch coming…

While I don’t dispute JHK’s (and many others’) assertion that we are past peak oil, and oil will grow scarcer, it will still be around

UNLESS government bans it (unlike prohibition, it takes billions in capital to turn out even mediocre quality gasoline).

So cars will still be used. But the supply of good cars will diminish because there will be fewer ICE (internal combustion engine) cars, and also the newer one will have more nanny and connectivity features, and in two to three years, “impaired driver detection systems” that will make cars more annoying–especially for most CFNers.

So get the newest and/or best condition used car that you would want if gas was $10-15 a gallon ASAP (if you don’t drive a lot, that may well be a useful pick-up truck that gets 15mpg), because the supply of good new and used ones will not increase.

    Bad news, CFN’rs,

Just saw a report that a Boeing 737 has, again, fallen from the skies. Polish authorities report that the commercial aircraft crashed into a large cemetery on attempting to land in Warsaw…the loss of life extensive. Polish spokesman reports that, so far, over 11,000 bodies have been recovered….*

Of course, I jest. The poles have recorded only 9000 bodies recovered so far, but work progresses.

I saw that report EL, The only survivor was the pilot. He claimed he was blinded by the sun. The crash occurred at 1 AM local time.

Only James can make the coming apocalypse sound even somewhat hopeful. Thanks for this!

I went out of town for 2 days and so much is blowing up. The run on banks in Canada, the general strike planned (as James predicts here), the fake arrests, the real arrests (in Canada), the attack on the protesters there, with one journalist seriously injured. And now the trucker’s strike planned here in the US, and Jo Jo Magoo trying to make that a terrorist offense.

And of course the distraction war they’re trying to start via Ukraine. What a time to be alive!

Yeah it’s totally amazing living in the book of Revelations every day lol! I would be ok with less drama actually if you can imagine but then at the same time then I would probably think it was boring so there’s that. A break is always good and hopefully it was fun! I know and it’s like which ones are psyops and which ones are real? Ukraine doesn’t seem real and too its a bazillion miles away.

    [EXCERPT]

I felt around us, in the majestic nature of the awfulness of the evil around us, the presence of “principalities and powers” — almost awe-inspiring levels of darkness and of inhuman, anti-human forces. In the policies unfolding around us I saw again and again anti-human outcomes being generated: policies aimed at killing children’s joy; at literally suffocating children, restricting their breath, speech and laughter; at killing school; at killing ties between families and extended families; at killing churches and synagogues and mosques; and, from the highest levels, from the President’s own bully pulpit, demands for people to collude in excluding, rejecting, dismissing, shunning, hating their neighbors and loved ones and friends.

I have seen bad politics all of my life and this drama unfolding around us goes beyond bad politics, which is silly and manageable and not that scary. This — this is scary, metaphysically scary. In contrast to hapless human mismanagement, this darkness has the tinge of the pure, elemental evil that underlay and gave such hideous beauty to the theatrics of Nazism; it is the same nasty glamour that surrounds Leni Riefenstahl films.

In short, I don’t think humans are smart or powerful enough to have come up with this horror all alone.

So I told the group in the woods, that the very impressiveness of evil all around us in all of its new majesty, was leading me to believe in a newly literal and immediate way in the presence, the possibility, the necessity of a countervailing force — that of a God. It was almost a negative proof: an evil this large must mean that there is a God at which it is aiming its malevolence.

And that is a huge leap for me to take, as a classical Liberal writer in a postwar world, — to say these things out loud.

Grounded postmodern intellectuals are not supposed to talk about or believe in spiritual matters — at least not in public. We are supposed to be shy about referencing God Himself, and are certainly are not supposed to talk about evil or the forces of darkness.

    [END EXCERPT]

James doesn’t go there, or to the larger conspiracy, but maybe you can.

Common sense in the public sphere is fighting for its life… let alone spirituality.

    • Amman February 21, 2022 at 5:33 am #

There are 2 types of Responses to evil – one response is the type where you ignore it and wait for it to pass as implied in an Islamic verse “But let evil pass.” The other type of response is the one where you are instructed, in very clear terms, “to be armed to the hilt.” This means to be prepared for conflict or a difficulty. Call it what you will – common sense, spirituality, whatever.

I found it amazing that Naomi Wolf, of all people, would go there. Woke in the good sense, I mean.
And by armed, to put on the full spiritual armour, yes.

I was thinking about her essay trying to figure out what she was really trying to say. i.e. the Main point. I figure in life, good common sense is best. Spirituality tho I think should be tackled through art – short stories, film, what ever… not so much formal, tentative essays. Two cents, Anmari-san.

Bizarre goings on in the City of Portland, Oregon.

BLM and Antifa ‘Protesters’ showed up in a neighborhood on account of a police shooting in Minneapolis. Unfortunately for them, some Gypsy Jokers live in the neighborhood and opened up on the Mostly Peaceful Protesters, killing 1 and wounding 5. The next day the PD held a press conference to update the public on that shooting and 3 or 4 other shootings that happened over the weekend; suddenly, an obese white woman stormed the podium and began shouting at the Public Relations Officer, who altho black, she accused of being a White Supremacist. Others in the crowd began shouting about journalist Andy Ngo, a Vietnamese White Supremacist. Apparently anyone not aligned with Antifa is a White Supremacist. What was curious is that the obese woman was complaining that the PD was not “Keeping them Safe”, the same PD that BLM & Antifa has spent the past 2 1/2 years throwing molotov cocktails at and chanting “all cops are bastards”. High strangeness all around. I’ve been to Portland only 1 time and it seemed like a pretty cool place, not so much anymore.
