The Solemn Stillness Before Winter

“Ultimately, the Democratic Party is a criminal organization; and to support it is to be a criminal. And since it is the ruling party, unless you oppose it, you support it.” —Curtis Yarvin, The Gray Mirror

Here in New England now, the landscape is putting itself to bed, preparing for winter’s long sleep. The grass in the cow pastures never looks greener than in contrast to the barren trees, but that lingering color, too, will soon fade. We did not get smacked here by the deep snows of far-off Buffalo, not a flake, so a sweetly solemn stillness settles over these tender hills as we give vague thanks at Thursday’s gala of gluttony, certain to induce terrors of indigestion in the restless night to come.

I am thankful to still be here after all these years — more than that, grateful! And with the prospect of seeing what comes next: the beginning of a great correction for a country gone off the rails in greed, bad faith, and treachery. Everything rooted in lies and fakery is primed to blow down in the political storms ahead.

It’s fitting that the last straw on this beast’s back was the phoniest scam of all, and saturated with every known sort of millennial Woke posturing: the FTX swindle. Its avatar, Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), proved to be a special species of villain, the idiot-savant slob, clever enough to somehow winkle a physics degree out of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, but not very good with the basic math of money — for instance, the equation that margin must equal collateral — and really really bad at covering his oafish tracks.

In the dramatic demise of FTX, the self-styled crypto-currency-exchange, all the nefarious connections between the great ills of our time stand out starkly in a sudden, glaring light, namely: the dubious Covid-19 pandemic and all the punitive measures cooked up by officialdom, with help from FTX’s money, to supposedly combat the virus, especially the deadly mRNA “vaccines” still being pushed on a credulous public; the sinister operations of so-called hedge funds and their role in magically levitating the financial markets of an economy foundering on necrotizing malinvestments and debt that can never be paid; and the Satanic endeavors of a political faction, the Democratic Party of Chaos, in subverting every institution from sea to shining sea from schools, to courts, to elections while shoving the US into a land war in Europe.

A few weeks after the FTX breakdown, and the extrinsic cascading failures around the crypto-currency netherworld, spreading wildly through pension funds, banks, and insurance companies, the great stillness of November also blankets the regulatory apparatus supposedly guarding the public from financial fraud — most conspicuously the head of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Gary Gensler, a Dutch uncle in the Bankman-Fried extended clan.

The FBI is too busy chasing down evangelicals and Attorney General Merrick Garland remains fixated on nailing former president Trump on any kind of confected felony, despite six years of fervent investigations from the US Attorney’s Southern District of New York, to New York’s AG Letitia James — who ran for office promising to persecute citizen D.J. Trump — to Robert Mueller’s two-year intimidation campaign that came up with exactly nothing.

Now Mr. Garland has activated one particular federal attorney, Jack Smith, with a long record as a partisan attack dog, as special counsel to finally get the job done against Mr. Trump, the proverbial indictment-worthy ham sandwich awaiting a DC District grand jury. Any cockamamie charge will do as long as it’s a felony. Mr. Garland’s strategy is two-fold: 1) to negate Mr. Trump’s remaining political career; and 2) set up a situation that will permit all DOJ attorneys and FBI officers to demur from questioning before Republican majority congressional committees about everything-under-the-sun on the grounds that the questions are germane to “ongoing investigations” that can’t be compromised. That’s the game.

By the time that game kicks-off, early January 2023, the country is liable to be punch-drunk and stumbling from a financial market crash that signals the start of an economic depression more consequential than the calamity of the 1930s. Meanwhile, Russia’s cleanup of the US-instigated mess in Ukraine will be nearly complete, to the ignominy of “Joe Biden,” at the same time that the putative president’s crimes of bribery and treason — should he still be among the living — get aired in Congress without any help required from Mr. Garland’s Justice Department — the evidence from Hunter’s laptop having already been well-perused and catalogued by an army of outside independent investigators. FTX will be in that mix somewhere.

This shakeout will all occur against the background of the now-unraveled Covid-19 story. By early 2023 the evidence of excess all-causes deaths and disabilities resulting from Pfizer and Moderna shots will be overwhelming and the nation will know it got played by a scheme between the corrupt public health authorities, the pharma companies, and the corporate medical establishment, including its discredited journals. Nobody in America will ever trust a doctor again.

We’ll also probably know a good deal more about the dark and dirty deeds around the 2022 midterm election as the FTX scandal spools out and the probably hundreds of millions of FTX investors’ dollars that were express-delivered into Democratic Party coffers for ballot harvesting operations are revealed, along with the exact methods used to accomplish the mega-fraud.

So, enjoy the still moments of this Thanksgiving before the cacophony of mid-winter commences to roar and rage across this hapless land. Say a prayer for the heroes-in-waiting aiming to rescue the republic from the depredations of the vicious Woke-Jacobin Left. And, along with your other preps, lay in some sodium bicarbonate for the awful heartburn to follow.

We “westerners” now live in Orwells’ 1984 sadly. His book was a warning.

Not exactly. A combination of 1984, Brave New World, and Idiocracy.

Both wrong. Try “They Live”, since around 1947 I’m guessing. Why else geo engineer our planet, put fluoride in our water, change our DNA to make us sterile, etc., etc. Now comes the great culling or harvest or whatever. Better put on Gods Armor…..

I believe we are in Grasshopper Lies Heavy the metastatic story-as-a-character inside of The Man in the High Castle (PDick 1962).

THX1138 (Lucas 1971) or The Road (McCarthy 2006) are the diverging paths that remain.

BNW and MCMLXXXIV were mindfully inserted into culture to nudge but the effectiveness was buried in pulp.

Gotta hand it to Mike Judge, Idiocracy shows both sides their reflection clearer than Black Mirror and both sides reject that insight in order to deride their ideological nemeses.

Our host has always done a bang-up job of bringing us the unadulterated facts and pretty much all of us here appreciate the hard work and effort that he puts into that. When it comes to prognosticating about what will happen or what will be done by a corrupt sellout government, he and I are at opposite ends of the opinion spectrum. Having served in elected and appointed government positions I assure you all that our government today, at ALL levels does as little as possible except for getting elected, getting re-elected, and helping their cohorts do the same. It is a 24/7 full-time job and leaves no time at all for doing anything else. And there is a huge problem with doing anything productive because if you do, you are going to piss someone off and it will be used to replace you with one of their sellout do-nothings.

This FTX gig is a real winner-winner-chicken-dinner and will be a blank check for those promoting the evil agenda. To me it is too blatant and too obvious to not be anything but a well-executed plan. The demented children who ran the scam were clearly set up by those who had the power to set them up and would profit from the theft. I cannot see these patsies being tried or brought to any form of justice because clearly, they know too much. They will either be disappeared or found hanging from doorknobs, period. Certainly, the crisis will not be wasted, but will be used to advance the plan initiated by Executive Order #14067 to create a digital USD and put enough controls on all other cryptocurrencies to make them all pretty much useless. Bringing about an AI monitored facial-recognition system facilitated by 5G will top off the shit-cream sundae nicely and the general public will quickly fall to its knees and beg to be made safe, just don’t turn off my dinglebox, please!

Thank you, James, once again for your insightful work. Authors and artists are a blessing to humanity as they help keep us grounded and give us all hope that things will work out fine in the end. Prophets and engineers however, are a different breed. They view where we are with an eye on where we have been and when they analyze all of the variables using as little emotion as possible, where we are going can be seen as clearly as if they’d already been there.

Yes, it IS a Long Emergency and it is going to continue to degrade and the pace is going to pick up until the giant sledge hammer in the sky comes crashing down upon the systems of corruption that have failed us all and everything grinds to a halt. The only question is how long it takes.

There’s a website called “The Mad Monarchist” where an anonymous person/historian presents the other side of the issues regarding monarchies vs republics. The Mad Monarchist claims that a republic is the most inefficient form of government possible because the people running the gov’t spend most of their energy and time in getting re-elected – not in doing work to actually manage the country. They aren’t focused at all on the nation’s future or how to prepare the public for any changes that are coming. These people should be talking bluntly and frankly to us, instead they *really* don’t care. It’s not in the nature of sociopaths to care about their friends, neighbors, and countrymen to the point of engaging in self sacrificing activity. It’s not in the nature of the parasite to worry much about the health of the host.

      • K-Chien November 21, 2022 at 11:30 am #

There is no other side. Monarchy is every bit as bad as a republic. It is only a different kind of bad.

Monarchy is the epitome of unearned riches.

You remind me of the current psychopathic, paranoid monarch ostensibly ruling Thailand (swollen, corrupt military the actual power).

He prefers to “rule” from a 5-star hotel in Bavaria, surrounded by a harem and terrified toadies.

Flies back’n’forth to Bangkok in his own 737…I wouldn’t want to be aboard that aircraft, considering how many crimes this bad-boy king has racked up.

Things happen to airplanes, occasionally mysterious & inexplicable ones.

      • Jarek November 21, 2022 at 12:39 pm #

To say the same thing another way: The skill set involved in clawing one’s way to the top is totally different from that required to rule.

        • Walter B November 21, 2022 at 2:22 pm #

Your comment on facial recognition is already in place. We went through customs coming home and it was comprised of a camera checking our faces and a cursory look at our passports.

Very unlike Mexico’s tortuous method which gave us a really nice gift.

I think the thing that galls me the most is the endless parade of Democrats telling us that they are protecting democracy. Yeah, right, by putting people in a permanent state of dependency on this very corrupt government.

What is the most disgusting is the gullibility of the American people, now identified as really, really stupid after their vote last week. The Leftist Deep State has, over the past two years, launched its programs of population impoverishment and the American curs response is to tuck their tails and vote the bastards back in. FTX is just one entity feeding on the gullible people using the Deep State.

We may have to go through a deep depression to finally make this population rebel against the endless chain of grifters. Gen Z is toast, not because of Boomers or Xers but due to their own gullibility, laziness and dependency. FTX just took out a big chunk of the Z capital pool and they are just the first to go.

I am interested to watch the Flight of the Pelosi’s as they try to escape the USAs decline they were largely responsible for.

      • Beryl of Oyl November 21, 2022 at 11:02 am #

The globalist agenda marches on unimpeded, and zero people running for office even acknowledged that there is such an agenda.

President Trump was doing a fine job opposing that agenda, until he got turned around and started scoring own goals.

He remains a lone voice on the national political stage in the United States. And now they are going to try and put him in jail again.

      • SW November 21, 2022 at 11:30 am #

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see another covid-pandemic hustle on the way this winter. Our host has greater faith in people connecting the dots that the shots didn’t work, masks, distancing, lockdowns etc than I do. I talked to an old friend yesterday and she told me she had a very bad case of covid in September even though she double-masked with an N-95 and surgical mask and all the rest. When I said, well — it sure seems none of that worked! — she said it had kept her from getting it earlier. She has had about 30 years experience as a nurse.

Remember back in the early 2000s when the Pentagon was audited and trillions of dollars were missing? Who answered for that? No one. And the crooks standing on the shoulders of the crooks that went before them will answer to nobody either. Anything goes and nothing matters.

        • C.O.Jones November 21, 2022 at 12:36 pm #

@SW – The clip of Biden promising another pandemic is on youtube. It’s about the only believable thing he’s said.

It sounds like you were talking to my sister who has been a nurse all her life. I’m not bashing nurses because in my multiple hospital stays, I’ve observed them doing the lion’s share of the work but – they are not known for their critical thinking skills. Nurses and increasingly so doctors just spew whatever the AMA tells them to say, no matter how absurd it may be. It’s very frustrating to try to have a logical conversation with a nurse because they will quote the CDC/AMA and KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are in the right. Smug self-satisfaction may enter into the equation, your mileage may vary.

When Trump gets 250 million votes in 2024, it won’t matter because the communists will say “Nice try but Biden got 350 million votes!” Anyone who points out the fact that there are not 600 million voters in the US will be locked up for being an election denier and yet, there are the Alex Jones listeners who insist we can vote our way out of this. We’re toast.

          • SW November 21, 2022 at 2:12 pm #

@C.O. — I was a nurse for a long time before I retired a couple of years ago and what I’ve seen with my fellow nurses is pretty discouraging, even though many were friends and good people. You’re right there’s a lot of reliance on official departments like the CDC and FDA even when they’ve been exposed as corrupt and we’re taught in nursing school they’re the final word.

People like easy answers. They hate having to use their minds on demand. Maybe for their hobby or favorite sport – like fantasy football, lol. But having some smarty pants ask them to think about something important? They will hate them.

        • abbybwood November 21, 2022 at 1:21 pm #

I am a retired R.N. and I refused the Covid jabs. Got Covid this past May so now I am putting my “natural immunity” to the test.

Our LA County fake doctor (a “Dr.” Jill type) is now STRONGLY recommending everyone wear masks inside public places (NOT a mandate).

I will continue to only wear a mask when I am FORCED to.

          • malthuss November 21, 2022 at 2:00 pm #

            workers in grocery are masked.

          • SW November 21, 2022 at 4:45 pm #

abbybwood — I took the two Moderna shots in April of 2021 b/c I had to have proof of vaccination to fly or else I would not have been able to see my youngest daughter. I didn’t want to, but certainly at that time it looked like it was going to be a permanent requirement. Six months later, I got covid and was sick with flu-like symptoms for 3 days, weak and tired for a week. I had no illusions this was going to “protect” me from covid but would get me past security and on the plane.

I have nothing but sympathy with the people who had to choose between losing their jobs or taking the shot. I have nothing but contempt for the people who have put others in a near impossible situation b/c it means compromising the welfare of your family members if you lose that job or are restrained from seeing them.

My eyes have been opened to how easy it is to completely and quickly create a pool of True Believers who help enforce the rules — masks, agreeing people who didn’t have the shots should be denied medical care, and banning together with other TBs to ridicule and censor nonconformists.

“Remember back in the early 2000s when the Pentagon was audited and trillions of dollars were missing?”

I certainly DO remember that. And isn’t it a real co-inky-dink that building 7 of the WTC was where many pentagon and FBI papers were stored? And let’s not forget the Pentagon. Guess what was stored exactly where the “jet” hit the place? And how come there has never been a video capture of that “jet” hitting, or even flying over the ‘hood? Hmmm…

          • Mick November 21, 2022 at 2:19 pm #

We’ve been played so much since 2000 I feel like Willie Nelson’s very beat up guitar.

          • SW November 21, 2022 at 2:22 pm #

All the focus was on the Twin Towers and no pictures were released of the Pentagon or the plane in Pennsylvania (that I remember). Where did all that money go? It sure wasn’t used to improve the country. With the Biden crowd still firmly in control, there might be a few hearings that go nowhere and I don’t expect anything else anymore.

This war in Ukraine is going to decide if the west can keep control of the monetary system or the BRICS will get it. We’re playing for keeps and so is Russia and China backs them up, no matter how much handshaking there is at these conferences.

          • Walter B November 21, 2022 at 2:27 pm #

Well, there IS a security camera video still on You Tube that clearly shows that it warn’t no damn plane and you can still Google “Pentagon Hole” and see many images of the 10′ diameter hole at the base of the wall with no disturbances on the lawn underneath it, no baggage, no wing marks, and no wreckage at all.

Heck, they never even tried to hide it, they know that the American public is far too distracted, uncaring, or simply too stupid to put two and two together and come up with four.

          • DaveO907 November 21, 2022 at 4:54 pm #

            @Cactus Grrrl
The Enron court documents/evidence at their timeliest too. A significant tonnage of gold was stored in the basements and I’ll be darned, rumor had it the searchers in the ruins found the vault doors were open! Ain’t that special? No more so than a Bush family (Marvin, if memory serves,) company/concern was in charge of security thereabouts.

U.S. 20th-21st century history: ain’t it a wondrous, perplexing thing?

          • Not_GeorgeT November 22, 2022 at 11:45 am #

The immediate story re: Pentagon went right down the memory hole. The f-b-i was reported to have taken all the security video.

I think they are safely stored with Hunter’s laptop.

        • UN OUT OF USA November 21, 2022 at 3:55 pm #

Similar experience here SW. My cousin was a critical care nurse for 40+ years. She has been fully vaxx’d and boosted (not me!!) and still got covid. BUT, she really believes the shots kept her from becoming sicker! Still, to this day, with ALL the evidence out there of how these shots are killing people. All the “died suddenly” cases, etc. still won’t get the people, like my cousin, to admit they were wrong. I think they’re too afraid to admit they were lied to because then they’ll have to face the fact that they’ve been poisoned and their lives shortened. It’s simply easier for them to deny the facts.

          • SW November 21, 2022 at 4:56 pm #

You’re right. I knew it was bs but I also knew I wanted proof to fly and was willing to risk it. I think what happened in a lot of cases was there was so much fear propaganda pounded into our heads that even well educated, smart people went directly to panic mode and stayed there. And then the media with all these doctors, pictures of people in ICU, distortion of the # of deaths, and demonizing of people who attempted to discuss the virus reasonably took hold. Remember how viciously Robert Kennedy Jr. was attacked for researching children’s vaccines? He was treated like he was Jack the Child Ripper for exposing the corruption in the CDC.

          • Not_GeorgeT November 22, 2022 at 11:47 am #

‘ It’s simply easier for them to deny the facts.’

Sums up a lot of it.

I agree. Also, many people dug themselves into a VERY deep hole with friends and family arguing for the jabs and viciously condemning those who refused the jabs. To reverse course in the face of the now overwhelming evidence is to admit that they lack common sense, are gullible, possibly stupid, and….most of all…. That they were just fucking WRONG.

Too devastating to their fragile, narcissistic pea-brains. They will never confess.

What galls me is that they are pushing democracy in the first place. (Putting people in a permanent state of dependency is a major goal of demonocracy. And they, the Dems, do it well!).

Democracy – Democratic Party – get it? Find the word in our Constitution. The Founders hated that system.

We’re a Republic – nothing to do with the Republican Party.

          • Mick November 21, 2022 at 12:52 pm #

In the 19th century the Democrat party was the more conservative state’s rights party. And then along came FDR.

Yes, the founders wanted nothing to do with a full democracy. We need to go back to Senators being selected by the state legislatures. And I don’t think the Presidency should be selected by popular vote either. Fat chance of course.

          • Uncle Bob November 21, 2022 at 6:43 pm #

Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft gave us Progressivism. Thomas Woodrow Wilson, arrogant racist bastard, ran as a “conservative,” then imposed Progressivism, the Federal Reserve, segregation in federal jobs, fanxy-sounding claptrap, and involvement in the Great War on America despite most people’s wishes. FDR merely took advantage of another big crisis to remake the US into another country fill of scared people willing to do anything if it meant they’d get money and/or food from somewhere, just as happened with Germany, Italy, the USSR, etc.

Another excellent blog by the esteemed JHK. Together with its’ northern cousin, the Liberal Party, the governments of both Canada and the United States are well on the way to fulfilling George Orwell’s vision of dystopia in 2022. The deep state and agents of lawfare are working overtime on both sides of the border to implement a permanent woke inquisition to make sure the WEF puppets remain in power forever. Case in point: after being unable to make a solid case for invoking martial law against mostly peaceful protesters who occupied Ottawa in February, the Trudeau government has roped in both the RCMP and CSIS to justify its’ draconian use of the Emergency Powers Act. It had to be done! Trudeau’s life was in danger! The trucker convoy had been infiltrated by the Russians, Chinese Communists and White Nationalists, along with other nefarious actors whose purpose was to bring down the democratically elected government of Canada! The country is under attack from morally impure elements and the end justifies the means. “They” are out there and pose a grave threat to everyone’s liberty so we must ignore the rule of law and not let technicalities like due process get in the way of the left’s program of moral purification. It’s too bad there aren’t more brave souls like JHK out there who will risk cancellation and public vilification to get the truth out.

Why are you so sure that we didn’t vote to kick the bastards out, but the machines flipped our votes?
Do you really think that everybody who expected a red tsunami was simply deluded?
How could all the pre-election polls have been so wrong?
Why is it so hard to believe that the Democrats stole the 2022 election, after they stole the 2020 election?
Why did Texas and Florida have a red wave, but the battleground states didn’t?
Did the Democrats finally tell a lie so enormous that everyone thinks it must be true?

While I also absolutely love James’ scenarios of what could be, I lean more towards what you are putting forward, Walter. After all, you’ve been in the hot seat and have had to deal with the do-nothings.

Agree, Sam Fried-Bankman is a mere pawn. One wonders why these powerful people have no problem putting their children in harm’s way by backing these ponzi schemes and using them as front men, but then again look at what the moneyed/professional class is doing to their own (death jab, transing, etc.). I guess it is the era of child-sacrifice.

The Aztecs had nothing on us!

The Long Emergency is in its initial stages (at least the visible ones). I am coincidentally working my way through that very book and am always amazed at how James can juxtaposition what he knows on that level with his somewhat-positive semi-weekly essays.

In any case, I appreciate it all, and am thankful for it.

What is the poor Democrat Party to do? They created the perfect vehicle (FTX) for laundering the billions pouring into the Ukraine Black Hole and diverting it to worthwhile causes like the DNC ballot stuffing program, the personal accounts of deserving Democrat and Republican supporters, and the Mansion Acquisition program of Zelensky. Only to have it collapse at the hands of a bushy headed coke sniffing kid even more incompetent than the “lost laptop” spawn of the OBiden Crime Family.

The problem was that too many “investors” spotted the Ponzi and piled on in hopes of riding the bubble to the last profitable exit point.

Now the Democrat/Republican War Party finds itself in a bit of a quandary. Of course they could just cut checks directly to the benefactors of the FTX laundry scheme, but that actually might raise objections among the 40% of the American public who don’t think things are going just peachy. If they would just send the money directly to Zelensky he might not distribute it back to the proper benefactors. As a matter of fact I predict that he would use it as leverage to demand that the US military follow their first strike doctrine by launching a nuclear strike on Moscow.

Why should Pedo Biden fear the consequences of nuclear annihilation? After all, even in his state of advanced senility he must know that he hasn’t much time left in his life. Wouldn’t it be better to go out in a glorious fireball than continue as an object of ridicule every time he emerges into the public view?

Is the EFF BEE EYE director exempt from contempt of Congress charge?
They could hold a closed-door session and he should be forced to answer unless doing so would violate his own 4th amendment rights.
Funny since they don’t seem to be concerned with anyone else’s rights to unlawful search and seizure.

    I will post the 4th:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things

Who do we all know that appears to have had his fourth abused?

I am watching the GOP’s relationship with the DOJ and especially Wray. The state of the Uniparty depends on their ability to cover up the liberalization of the federal government since 2008. I notice the Dems are not too concerned right now. With a potential majority of only four of five House members, the Dems are actually smiling as they count the numbers of RINOs in their pocket.

The Deep State promotes the dissemination and growth of itself only. The tiny blip you saw last Tuesday is proof positive.

2024. Uh huh! Trump announces very early. DeSantis is non reactive, other GOPers are waiting to see what happens. I wonder if there might not be other plans in the works, separation! I know I believe that the USA population, plus two more years of 10 million or so immigrants, is going to rubber stamp the Deep State again.

Then what!!! Self motivated independent folks will have to find an alternative to the Deep State before it gives away all their capital.

      • Mick November 21, 2022 at 11:43 am #

I know some are hopeful about the House investigating the Biden’s next year.

But, the House can only refer a case to the DOJ for prosecution. It doesn’t have prosecutorial powers.

So, they’ll possible refer an indictment of Hunter Biden, or maybe even Joe. And Merrick Garland will say, “Yeah sure, I’ll get right on that.” And then either roll his eyes or laugh. Or both.

I have been saying for twenty-plus years now “Surely, surely, this is open evidence enough. Surely they will see the the corruption now.” As the Clintons oozed their way out of two terms in the White House, as the Bush 43 administration slid off the rails and into a Middle Eastern quagmire, as everything went wrong in the financial debacle of 2008, I have kept thinking “Yes, this is enough, the voters will clean house next fall.” But the press buried it, and many voters simply did not want to look

All the while the foreign policy and economic disasters-from-theft keep happening. The elections are now so cooked now that the corrupt will never be voted out. Where this goes next I shudder to speculate. At this point, the jokes about “Sweet Meteor of Death 2016” are seeming like the good old days.

JFK and RFK saw it coming. America is now married to the mob, and we are the abused and molested children of that unholy matrimony. How fitting it is that they have installed a brain-dead, career criminal, child molesting dotard to leer over us in our despair.

We would have been far better off had the Grandmaster been Vito Corleone for though he was harsh, he was yet fair and not really as evil as the new boss, psychotic mass murderer, Herr Schwabenklaus. • mrs_saj November 21, 2022 at 10:33 am #

There is no “evidence enough”; there is no red line; there is no point of no return. Not when millions of parents have been hypnotized into “protecting” their own children from a virus that had almost no chance of harming them by repeatedly injecting them with an experimental drug that has a decent chance of ruining their health. This is the reckoning. This will play out over the next twenty years with six sigma level all cause death rates as well as astronomical rates of disability and infertility,

The media will only cover it when it serves their purpose of drumming up fear or distracting from our imploding economy.

You should not be surprised. The Deep State, both sides, have been filling this country with ignorant, undereducated, indoctrinated people programmed to give their hearts to a dictatorship and ignore the loss of their Liberty.

When the majority back the “Massa”, Liberty dies and slavery begins.

How do you fight back against an impending dictatorship when they hold all the cards.

As 2024 will make no difference, I would say the shenanigans of the Deep State will occur starting now

In a mad max scenario, which isn’t so far fetched, the cities will become isolated pockets of warring factions for scarce resources.

They can war among themselves all they want. When they start eying the green pastures of the more rural areas it will become a problem for those of us who already made the move.

Defending Ukraine is not allowed under our Constitution. Impeachment anyone?

Ahh yes…..the Constitution. I believe Gee Dubya Bush referred to it at least once as “just a GD piece of paper”.

You are correct… but incomplete. Ukraine? How about Libya, Iraq, Yugoslavia, Kuwait, Vietnam… not to mention about 250 OTHER invasions or coups just since 1991? Why, as “Mick” astutely observes below, would we be surprised since the (alleged) Constitution has been ignored by, not only the “Democratic Party” end of the single crime family that runs America, but also the incompetent, election-cheating, plutocratic “Republican Party” end (&, yes, all those accusations are just as applicable to both ends).

    • mrJones November 21, 2022 at 10:29 am #

I showed this to a handful of people, and they all started coming up with their own very good ideas on this topic.

      The NEW Political Party

My own contribution? No “emergency” exceptions to our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. What part of “inalienable” do the dunderheads on the Supreme Court not understand?

I wish I can link it, so I’ll just advise to find the ‘TFI Global’ channel on YT, and then find the video posted very recently titled “Sweden’s New PM Plans a Crackdown on Biden”.

It appears that the evidence of who really blew up Nordstream is becoming too obvious for the US and Britain to cover up.

Another good video they just released today shows that Russia’s withdraw from Kherson is bad for the Ukraine. Not Russia. And it shows why.

Curse of the Demon. (“Mother, it’s easier to start some things than to stop them”, says the Demonologist Karswell)

“Mr. President, let us come to an agreement quickly on this matter, before it spins out of control and anything the politicians do or say becomes irrelevant” (Ambassador Dobrynin to John F. Kennedy, at the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis)

Reading your interesting appraisal, I thought of the bankers, all mother hens clucking over their nest eggs and not wanting to suffer any loss of control over The Narrative – as that could pose an existential threat.

Quite an amazing case study in hubris, to imagine that any cabal, no matter how well-armed, can effectively and predictably exert control over global twists and turns. History is a good (bitter) guide to such arrogance.

Welcome to the other side jim. Yes, life is worth living because what’s coming down the pike will provide enough excitement for all.

A real tell when you’ve moved past hope, anger, or sadness is a return to expectation and alertness. A certain quick step and interest in life.

Advanced forms of awareness include a sense of mourning for things that still yet exist; gas stations, grocery stores, all to be severely disrupted.

Walter, it all comes crashing down because reality can only be faked for so long. Every civilization and empire has failed due to some combination of overshoot, depletion and degradation. In the past these constraints were localized, even if the regions were Europe or the Middle East.

Now? Ha! And the worst part for us in the west is that we tried to steal the last great stores that might have been used to engineer a controlled decline, only to lose the war and create an adversary determined to exercise a hard cut and see us crash.

Oh yes, it’s gonna get interesting.

As a descriptor of our time, “The Long Emergency” will remain long after JHK is gone. What I don’t think our host adequately captured is that this is an exponential death spiral, like the coin spinning in the carnival funnel and the coin is now blurred in its relentless spin to the bottom.

    • Night Owl November 21, 2022 at 1:57 pm #

The death spiral has been artificially initiated, particularly over the past three years.

There is no long emergency, there is a fight for normality and the ability to continue on as a species focused on progress, or we can succumb to the digital plantation our would-be masters have planned for us.

How one cannot understand it even as it is happening is beyond me.

As always, my only objection to characterizing the “Democratic [sic] Party” as a crime organization is it implies a difference with the Republican Party. Like the Cosa Nostra would’ve been OK if they’d just gotten rid of Lucky Luciano! Who, I wonder, are the referenced “heroes-in-waiting aiming to rescue the republic”? The GOP is ALSO backing the Uki-Nazis, keeping the crooked bankers safe, violating international law, etc. We Americans are like (and many are ACTUALLY) children in an alcoholic family… desperate to believe ONE of these 2 losers is a real parent! We’re in the backseat watching 2 incompetents bicker over whose driving is worse, as we are being driven somewhere NONE of us wants to go to. A Third party (or, an ACTUAL SECOND party) is needed, but, is there time? Think LOCAL. Resilient local communities are (IMHO) your only real chance.

    • JohnAZ November 21, 2022 at 11:42 am #

IMHO, the only way out of CW3, is the implementation of a third party led by an enigmatic leader and set 180 degrees from the Deep State. A leader of the caliber of GW, who took the power long enough to set things right, then abdicated.

Guess who, supply any other names that might fill the bill here.

The GOP was the third party before CW1 and failed to stop secession. At the time Fremont and Lincoln failed to gain the trust of the South. The rest is history.

We are so close to the situation presaging CW1, the Fourth Turning emerges.

Sorry, Jim. It’s just not going to happen. The official story, should it come to it, will be that (Long) Covid itself is responsible and the excess deaths would have been much worse without the vaccines. This will be sufficient for 90%+ of the population to keep their absolute faith in the medical professionals and keep you and I sidelined as “conspiracy theorists”.

Showing premeditated release of a dangerous vaccine is the way to go…? I think “Depraved-indifference Murder” or “Depraved-heart Murder is the charge that sticks and nails them all – not a focus on the “virus.”

        • Night Owl November 21, 2022 at 1:38 pm #

I agree, Amman. I have said the same many times.

The virus story works to their advantage, regardless of whether they ever show a shred of proof for its supposed existence.

          • Amman November 22, 2022 at 2:46 am #

This charge puts them on the defensive. They have to prove they are not depraved – an impossible task.

      • JohnAZ November 21, 2022 at 11:51 am #

        Night Owl

        Big problem.

Bacteria, the infectious disease causers of the 1800 and early 1900s, were able to e isolated and grown giving it nutrition. It can live and reproduce outside of living cells.

Viruses cannot, cannot live or reproduce without living cells to feed on.

You will never see a virus by itself, but lots of viruses inside and outside living cells have had their picture taken.

Enough. Even if their was no such thing as a virus, something comes into play in the fall and winter that makes people get respiratory diseases of one form or another. How to avoid whatever this is is still legitimate.

Unless one is a masochist and enjoys getting sick.

      • Mick November 21, 2022 at 12:30 pm #

It’s a big like that it came from bats, or wombats, or panguilins, or whatever. It’s a bio weapon.

I know you’re hung up on this “isolate” thing probably because you’ve been listening to Dr. Icke. (He sounds smart on this stuff, but he doesn’t know shit from shinola. He needs to stick to the reptiles).

Let me ask you this…..why would they spend so much effort and money on creating a weaponized virus if it is “not real”? Remember what Rand Paul kept confronting Fauci over? Gain of function research. COVID was a product of that research, and yes there was American collusion at the Wuhan Lab. As in Fauci himself through the NIH. Among others. This research was being done at Fort Detrick too. In Jan or Feb of 2020 a professor at Boston University was arrested for “colluding” with China on virus research. (The real reason he was probably arrested was because they had reason to believe he was a security risk). MSM barely reported the story. A Chinese scientist was “expelled” from BU too. Allegedly.

Some say, “Well if it’s a bioweapon how come it wasn’t more deadly?” Because that wasn’t the immediate goal. They wanted to roll out the MRNA vaxx and make a killing off of it. Then when the dying really sets in from the vaxxes, well…..meh. Oh, but they want the dying all right. Just in the correct timing. The funding of the vaxx roll out was another swindle to steal multiple billions and billions of dollars from governments. Meaning….us.

And believe me, the MRNA vaxxes were already there and ready to go in 2019. They just “took a year” to fully “develop” them for show. Plus, they needed a year of old people dying on ventilators to get the public good and scared for the rollout.

        • Jarek November 21, 2022 at 1:08 pm #

Easy. You almost said it yourself: The vax isn’t for the virus. The virus was an excuse for the vax. And they did much of it by trickery, with no new disease required at all.

There is evidence that the vax was created many years ago, actually.

          • Mick November 21, 2022 at 1:32 pm #

Yes it was created years ago. And the virus was an excuse for the vax. Absolutely. The main goal was always the vax.

Now it appears that the vax is responsible for these “variants”. It makes both the vaxxed and the non-vaxxed sick due to shedding of the vaxxed.

I do think there was a real original virus that they released in order to get the ball rolling. A virus that made the vulnerable and elderly quite ill so they’d have to be hospitalized. Then they would be killed by the “treatment”. Ventilators at first. Then with Remdesivir. All inducing fear. “This could be you!”

Quite a well thought out scam. Make tons of money, and then a mass die-off. And of course, the requisite psyop of getting the masses to give up freedoms via fear.

          • JohnAZ November 21, 2022 at 2:34 pm #

Yes, mRNA technology was developed twenty years ago with its target, DNA manipulation of cancer.

Covid was their opportunity to use the technology to deliver genetic material to cells. It worked, but it did not follow their model, causing excessive inflammation damage than anticipated.

BTW, I read an article saying a new approach is being developed for Coronaviruses and other viruses that have s proteins on post morphology. The antigen sensed is not the s protein, which caught my attention. The post supporting the s proteins is the antigen, it does not change with mutation and this potential vaccine, yes vaccine will sense all similar viruses. No mRNA, no s proteins. Worth watching.

          • JohnAZ November 21, 2022 at 2:39 pm #

Absolutely, the vaxx causes variants. Just like antibiotics cause super bugs. Survivors, which there always are, become the newest variant.

A good question, why do variants happen? How come so many survivors? Or are they being seeded?

        • Night Owl November 21, 2022 at 1:52 pm #

          Too many people don’t.

        • Paula D November 21, 2022 at 1:58 pm #

Yeah, they had the vax ready, but I don’t think that the disease wasn’t meant to kill people.

It was. But the immune system is pretty awesome. It has evolved over millions of years and it takes on pretty much anything throw at it.

So: millions of years of evolution vs mad scientists funded by evil billionaires. The struggle continues.

I realize that humans have not been around for millions of years, but all life forms deal with pathogens and all life forms have immune systems.

Even plants have to deal with fungus, viruses and bacteria, as well as insects. We all have immune systems.

The problem for our overlords is how to overcome that.

Coen Vermeeren, of Bayer, is on video stating that the the jabs are actually gene therapy, but the public would never have accepted “gene therapy,” so they labeled them “vaccines.” Of course he doesn’t state it quite that way, but the implication is quite clear. Watch it yourself and decide what this fellow actually said.

I was referring to vax induced problems that lead to heart attacks, cardiac arrest, strokes, and several other things that don’t usually strike the youth.

All you zero in on is COVID. I’ve been blaming the vaxx for most of the issues since they rolled out. I’ve been clear that the lab created viral weapon has been for the purpose of getting the vaxx inside of as many people as they possibly can.

Now the vaxx is causing the infections, which was the plan. Or part of the plan. Those that survive are on the way to being ‘transhumanized’. It’s all a part of Reset. Humankind is being Reset.

The FDA says they only “recommended” that it not be used.

The fact that these entities are playing hot potato with various aspects of the scam perpetrated on the world, gives me a flicker of hope that there will be retribution, because why else would they fear it?

      • Mister Roboto November 21, 2022 at 11:15 am #

What the FDA claims it “recommended” is of little consequence given the full-court press against these medications. The range of the conspiracy against them even went to the extent of pharmacists refusing to fill prescriptions for Ivermectin even in those very rare instances when a doctor was willing to write one!

Nurse Claire Sends: “FDA Says Telling People Not to Take Ivermectin for COVID-19 Was Just a Recommendation”

This is quite possibly the most egregious public example of “I’m going to lie to your face and then get off on watching you let me get away with it” demonic gaslighting I have yet seen.

People begged for Ivermectin. Families begged for Ivermectin. Doctors lost their licenses for attempting to prescribe and/or administer it. Pharmacists were threatened with loss of licensure if they filled prescriptions for it.

“Horse dewormer” propaganda against a drug that had been dispensed to humans over 3.5 billion times since the late 1980s with statistically zero side effects and was the “I” in the P.I.A. Triumvirate of the three most important HUMAN drugs in HISTORY (Penicillin, Ivermectin, Aspirin), was ubiquitous. The NewWorldOrder/WEF FTX money laundering cabal paid for a fake study indicating – falsely – that Ivermectin was ineffective.

Now, the FDA has the demonic, shameless gall to claim that all of their war of attrition against Ivermectin was “just a recommendation.”

As in, if you or your loved one didn’t get it or take it, that was YOUR fault.

Even I am taken aback at the brazen evil, the cocksure confidence that there will be no consequences, ever.

        • pranah November 22, 2022 at 3:38 am #

In yet another twist, Ivermectin was made unavailable to dispense even if a pharmacy was willing to do so. I inquired at a compounding pharmacy in my area and the staff person told me they’d have no problem with filling a prescription for Ivermectin, but the problem was that they couldn’t obtain it.

      • MaryQueen November 21, 2022 at 2:36 pm #

Yeah that’s complete hogwash, as we know. They made it illegal for doctors to prescribe it. I remember it well.

The best way to describe this Nation’s behavior is to call it what it is. Our government has become a “Crime Syndicate”. It’s rules for thee and not for us. In America the word “Justice” has become to mean “Just Us”.

Sometimes it is better to get out of the way of a large object that’s on the verge of tipping over rather than trying to hold it up. My little nugget for this morning. The United States is on the verge of imploding with all the shenanigans taking place. It really has become rather blatant/obvious at this point.

We may witness the breakup of the US in our lifetime.

I fear that no matter what the excess death toll, the general public won’t catch on because the MSM simply doesn’t cover the issue. It doesn’t matter that alt.media folks are swinging from the chandeliers screaming the facts. I know many people who just will =not= look at an alt.media site. Rachel Maddow has to say it, or it ain’t so.

BTW, I finally know someone who had an undeniable reaction to the vaxxx. She had her booster and shook violently for the better part of the day afterward. Then that subsided. No lightbulb moment, regardless. I still don’t know anyone who had a stroke, heart attack, seizures, weird lasting neuro effects, etc., or anyone who dropped dead after the vaxxx. Nor have I heard tell of anyone, other that what I read in the alt.media. It’s all surreal.

    Happy Thanksgiving, Jim and everyone!

        Night Owl

How about three personally witnessed reaction to the vaxx

First, my daughter had Covid in 2020 and then due to her job, got the two vaxxes,

My wife and I, before the deluge of data started coming in got vaxxed and 1 booster in 2020. No excuse, the risk assessment said get the shot at the time.

        Scene set.

My daughter has had autoimmune indications show up. Not serious yet, but there. She also has developed calcifications in her left breast, the same side as her shots. Hmmmm?

Myself, soreness in the deltoid in my left arm since the shots. Also periodic inflammation in my right elbow. Right arm just got the quad flu shot, no problem at all.

My wife has an autoimmune disorder for 15 years.

We both got Covid in Mexico. It has just about run its course.

Surprise, it appears that her autoimmune condition may be starting to resolve.

All three indications that something is messing with our immune systems. IMHO, vaxxes are just mini COVID’s and the s protein present in both damage our immune systems. If it is proven by further study that the vaxx, via reverse transcriptase, can alter the DNA of any cells to make s protein generators, how do we punish the promoters of the vaxx?

Wait, now you DID get covid19 in Mexico?

You told us you tested negative.

The mind boggles at so many of your posts.

You never do read posts accurately, do you!!!

Boggles huh, how about your ability to read!

We got the symptoms in Mexico, but tested when we got home.

Positive, about three days in for me. Yes, I caught in in an overly crowded airport, during extensive customs inspection, standing in line with about 2000 other people, the perfect setup. I got first symptoms one and a half days later. My wife followed two days later.

Now Mary, Get off my back!

We agree on the shots, John.

I don’t agree that a virus called Covid-19 exists, as no one can sequence or isolate it for us.

All that exists is a computer mockup (in silico).

And there is no test for Covid-19.

Two facts. No one can answer these questions. And until they are answered sufficiently, Covid-19 cannot be shown to exist.

You have no idea what you have or had.

I think (ha ha)—make that, I speculate—that such people can think but they stop themselves from doing so.

The implications and conclusions are too terrible to contemplate. And then, some kind of action would be required by the terrible knowledge.

As we know, “knowledge” always been dangerous. Shoulda just stayed in the Garden!

        This is (I speculate) why we *can’t*, we *mustn’t* know . . .what happened in Dallas . . . what happened on 9/11 . . . what happened during the covid psy-op . . .

If people allowed themselves to “go there” either the cognitive dissonance would be unbearable or people would act. “Action” gets you get Jan. 6 type situs and your life is really effed. .

Bottom line: The brazenness of the gaslighting at this point in time (“Pandemic Amnesty”; “We just recommended against ivermectin . . .”) is truly breath-robbing.

Letting most people vote? It’s insane.

Jarek, starting to come around to your viewpoint on this. Here in MN we literally just re-elected all of the people who made our lives difficult for the last two plus years. The city folk voted for them because their friends needed them to, in order to be “in the right” and keep their cush jobs and reputations. And they actually believe voting against their own interests is somehow noble.

Again, fuck Keith Ellison. He prosecuted about 3 of the hundreds that lit Uptown on fire for fun during the St. George riots, errr, sorry, “peaceful protests”. The rest got off because they’d never done anything like that before, and deserved a second chance.

Ellison’s personal M.O., as he needs a second chance (or fifth chance, in this case), and the people keep giving it to him. They should not be voting. But, them’s the rules, so…

    • MrMangoOnMyShoulder November 24, 2022 at 8:34 am #

Pranah, I had not really had anyone drop either…for a while. But we’ve lost a handful of 40-somethings in the last few months. I think we’re up to four in our extended circle. Always the heart. Also have some friends who are chronically sick with colds now, and one friend’s wife who is 43 yrs-old w/cancer, though her treatment and recovery is going well, thank God.

From my 45 years’ experience on this here Earth, I would suggest that 42 is not a normal age for a heart attack. And 43 is a little early for cancer. I mean, it does happen. But sadly, as you said, Rachel Maddow didn’t cover it, so it “would have been worse” if they didn’t get the shot.

They will likely not wake up from the wool forced over their eyes, out of sheer shame.

Several cornered me in early 2021 and told me they were concerned for me and my family because we hadn’t gotten the shot. I told them I didn’t want to talk about it, but since they brought it up, I just told them my wife is allergic (was hospitalized back in the day at age 19 due to reactions to a Hep B booster), my son therefore could also have inherited that susceptibility, and I just “didn’t want the damn thing.”

They reiterated that they were just worried for me. No, they weren’t. They were worried that they were playing for the wrong team. Unfortunately, one of them is the friend whose wife has cancer now (a nurse who went full-on with the program of covid shot and boosts). Their kids have all been jabbed and boosted. Sigh.

Our host is at his best of late, and his best is something to be reckoned with. He still believes that the poison in this loathesome kettle of corruption can be boiled away, and the substance reduced to its savory essence – or, at least, something not outright toxic. I don’t think that’s hopium; things get worse, things get better, but there’s undoubtedly some nastiness coming our way first.

We seem to have developed and cultivated a system (with most smaller sub-systems having the same characteristics) that effectively weeds out anyone with a conscience while elevating at every step those who are willing to do anything at all, no matter how despicable, to their fellow beings.

If you look at any operating entity in our culture, you can see this process at work. It’s the reason why investigative journalists like Glenn Greenwald have been ejected from the media where they used to work. You have only to look at the way he was attacked by supposed fellow journalists and removed from the Intercept. It happens everywhere – in schools, universities, hospitals, corporations, local government, publishing, half-assed little health clinics in the middle of nowhere. There’s no getting away from it. Speak up and tell the truth, as some brave doctors have done, and find yourself being investigated and your license to practice at risk. Comply, or you soon won’t be a doctor. Take the corporate anti-whiteness training, shut your mouth and crawl on your belly, apologize, affirm, promise to debase yourself even more – or become unemployed and unemployable.

I don’t think there is any way to fight this as individuals or as a group, though I’d like to be persuaded that there is. That’s not to say I think we shouldn’t bother. But I do think every element of it has to collapse, and so much that we value will go along with it. I never thought I’d live in such times, and the thought of the immediate future is daunting beyond belief. When I comment here, I feel that I’m huddled in a little room with (mostly) like minded spirits, waiting for the bombs to fall.

That being said, I’m still looking forward to Thanksgiving, and wishing all of you, even Mitchellc, a turkey and all the trimmings.

      • Jarek November 21, 2022 at 1:36 pm #

Well said. It is the Beast system that values only technics for the power that it can bring. Conscience only gets in the way of that. Do that shit on your own time. And soon not even then…..

      • MaryQueen November 21, 2022 at 2:41 pm #

Yes. Psychopaths, sociopaths and especially narcissists have become the way to be in our society if you want to succeed.

That is the backbone of a lot of our problems. We have a society and culture that rewards narcissism and elevates narcissists over others.

The drive in Sept/Oct from NYC Upstate is no joke either.

    • Beryl of Oyl November 21, 2022 at 12:25 pm #

I drove from upstate to NYC that time of year, once.

I was dumb enough to drive on route 9 for a large part of my trip, because it looked okay to go that way on a map.

Driving in Yonkers, I was forced to take a detour through what I guess is the downtown or something, which I did not like having to do.

My annoyance turned to astonishment when I looked up and saw the Manhattan skyline, shimmering like a mirage in the golden autumn light.

I wasn’t expecting that. It took my breath away. For some reason, I burst into tears at the sight.

After that year, that skyline, at that season, would never be seen again.

I know next to nothing about high finance & macro economics, so I’ll ask, where did the $39 billion valuation in this FTX fund lie? Cornelius Vanderbilt had the NYCRR & transatlantic shipping lines, Andrew Carnegie had massive steel mills, Rockefeller owned Standard Oil (for example); this FTX, what did it produce, what service did it provide, where are it’s real, tangible, practical, useful assets? WHAT GOOD WAS IT?

GA I have to say the is something to that list of potentially fatal practices. As far as young people go, physically, the ones I see appear anemic & pathetic. We had some HS kids come around here recently for some fundraiser, the boys were effeminate, the girls dumpy. On beautiful days of summer & fall I drive thru town, the ballfields are empty, no kids out on the river in boats, no kids fishing off the bridge, no young guys hunting squirrels in the woods with .22s, in short, no outdoor activity detected whatsoever. They all must be indoors, looking at video screens — as opposed to us, in the summer, sunrise to sunset, out running around and raising hell.

That is how we grew up.

Running around outside. Finding and making our own amusement.

Jumping into huge piles of leaves.
Messing round in an old boat in a willow swamp at the bottom of the valley. Messing around in the hay mow, staying clear of the spot where the floor was punky.

Getting on our bikes and visiting—dropping in unannounced at the home of a young stay-at-home mom with toddlers, to get a cookie. That kind of thing. No supervision.

My mother called us inside at dinnertime.

No wonder the kids nowadays are so messed up, having been plopped down in front of screens at nearly day 1. Yuck.

Grossly over – stated , and deliberately misleading ?

      STILL ….

Tobacco companies used to sponsor athletic events .

As far as I know , alcoholic beverage manufacturers still sponsor athletic events.

Perhaps this is hypocritical and / or schizoid,

Or maybe it is actually entirely consistent.

In professional sports , and in this country increasingly in college level sports ,

      The trade – off an athlete makes is roughly the same sort of trade – off a smoker or drinker makes ;

You are trading a hypothetical longevity for an in the present positive benefit.

In several sports you will be a millionaire by age 30 , but you might be barely able to walk , or even in a wheelchair , by age 60 given the absolute pounding your knees and hips took to earn the big bucks.

Sports heroes generally are not true poster boys for clean living.

More accurately, they are poster boys for trade – offs.

      My favorite example ;

I CANNOT PROVE IT , but if you look at pictures of Martina Navratilova at 20 , and at 35 , I think it highly likely she drank a river of Steroids .

So there was no real dichotomy in Virginia Slims sponsoring women’s tennis.

The mid-terms have come and well… are still hanging around, like your cough and shakes after having COVID.

Sadly, the results were what I feared but too heavily discounted. And electoral politics in the US will never recover.

The younger generations spoke clearly with their low-information, zero-skin-in-the-game take.

And it's now put the US on the path to first civil unrest and then permanent political division.

Why? To end the hydrocarbon world and usher in a more perfect globalist technocratic union.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that's the outlook.

Nothing "Biden" does will alter that trajectory, and even the CHIPS Act is a tool for expanding our war footing… this time with China.

This month's Gold Goats 'n Guns Investment Newsletter focuses on this the big energy grift and the mindset of those that would play dice with the world.

"this issue of Gold Goats ‘n Guns …

What the implications of the mid-terms are

    Why the Red Wave failed

How "Biden" is leveraging our Semiconductor prowess for military advantage

What stocks of ours will do well in a 2023 deflationary/war environment

Why the Millennials' need for being heroes will be our downfall "

“I am thankful to still be here after all these years — more than that, grateful!”

And we who gather here a couple times a week are also thankful for that. And that we ourselves have not yet been done in by something to be able to commune in this manner.

“And with the prospect of seeing what comes next: the beginning of a great correction for a country gone off the rails in greed, bad faith, and treachery… So, enjoy the still moments of this Thanksgiving before the cacophony of mid-winter commences to roar and rage across this hapless land.”

Yes, here we are in the Thanksgiving Season. A time to express special appreciation for the good things in our lives.

And then… it’s time to appreciate the big things as well. Things like having the best Government money can buy. Things like not having to bother with such pesky old outdated notions like freedom of expression and freedom to defend yourself and freedom from unreasonable intrusions and freedom to follow all orders as dictated by the Dark State and their various fetch-boys-and-girls and lackeys. And special thanks to State Media who happily peddles the Company Line all day every day to the delight of Wokesters and Deep State fans everywhere.

And having a Resident in the White House who shows the World how he and his family are above the law and can do anything they damn well please and if you don’t like that you are some kind of Russian disinfo agent destined for Gitmo.

Things like out-of-control prices on everything thanks to the conjuring of fake money by a small private group of Dark State Bankers who are not Federal and have no Reserves and which are not a Bank. Truth in advertising, you know.

And giving thanks that it is legal for Government to lie to you and propagandize you and gaslight you. And — said again – ‘It’s all Legal!’.

And thanks to all those drawing paychecks from Big Pharma who work tirelessly to concoct new ways to harm and kill us.

And thanks to Pro Sports to give us all a diversion from all the Wokeness and problems of the World to that we can spend a few hours enjoying the Wokeness and problems that exist in Professional Sports.

And thanks to all the Religious Leaders in our Nation who say nothing about all the evils going on right in front of their pudgy faces as they follow the Biblical imperative to Never Rock The Boat. There IS such a Biblical imperative, right?

And thanks to all those Cultural Observers out there who have identified that all the problems of World are caused by people of lighter skin tones. Gosh… if we had only know that years ago we could have all been so much more Woke today and we’d all be living in a Paradise of Such Rich Color.

Now that the WEF and Wokesters are in full World control… we should all soon be living in that Promised Paradise. At least those of us whom the Wokesters decide should still be around.

And that means that next Thanksgiving we’ll all have SO much more to be thankful for.

Innocent does not imply consciousness of the problem.

And, no-one’s innocent anymore hardly. Everyone has jumped on the tech bandwagon almost, from Guinea to Guatemala to Grover beach, CA.

Collapse of a brutal kind will follow this solemn Stillness before winter.

Debt rules the world. The civilian economy is a sucking chest wound. Military conflict paid for money printed from thin air is the global future. Billions soon to be displaced will discover the power of NIMBY.

Forty billion for Twitter really? That is five bucks for every man and woman on the earth and most of us don’t do Twitter. The real economy of goods and services pales next to the pile of debt and speculative money that runs the world. This can’t go on.

Billions are locked out of the global economy and can’t get work. This while the ruling class makes ever more money.

People think that oil comes from crushing rock and that oil will last forever because we will always have rock to crush.

This will not end well, and it will not end well soon.

Thoughts of trans-humanism fill Star Wars addled minds while most of us don’t have health care.

I hope everybody is having a good day.

Yer thinking in broad strokes, Dawg.

Back in the real world, it’s possible to get good things done under any scenario. Jibes with a world made by hand.

In a world made by hand most people have already died.

It is not possible to get good things done under any scenario. That is the most ridiculous statement made all day. You should get a prize.

Broad strokes will be the fate of billions, in the real world.

Good dog. Am I am does this kind of thing quite a bit.

He and ani were savaging me about what I said was in Mr Kunstler’s book, The Long Emergency. Racist, of course! Turn out neither had even read it. She apologized. He didn’t.

Don’t assume he has read The World Made by Hand books – which is no rose colored view of the future. Most of the town died of a plague. But no war in the early years – unlike much of the rest of the America. Brother Job told them how lucky they were and how easy they had had it.

I think I’m probably the last person in the UK who hasn’t seen Star Wars.

But I’ve seen this page on DARPA’s website about their research into the brain-computer interface.

And I’ve seen Midazolam Matt’s speech on the UK Government website praising the 4th Industrial Revolution.

“And I’m delighted to speak alongside so many impressive colleagues who really understand this, and alongside Professor Klaus Schwab who literally ‘wrote the book’ on the 4th Industrial Revolution. Your work, bringing together as you do all the best minds on the planet, has informed what we are doing, and I’m delighted to work with you.”

So no real need for Star Wars. Perhaps my mind is government-website-addled.

And I’ve just seen this, while looking for the gov.uk speech:

“In 2018 Matt Hancock of the UK Government attends Davos and commits the UK Government to fully embracing the FIR through regulation and Government mandates.

      Government mandates. Can’t wait.

Well, indeed. Everything will be instaneous, including that red cross that says your pass has run out because you’re 30 days past your mandated jab date.

Macron had the French getting jabbed every 4 months while the vaxx pass was in operation.

Imagine if they are keeping careful track of what kind of shot every person – everyone of the billions – has gotten so they can track the progress of the implanted nano-bots at some point in the future.

What would be the purpose of putting death spikes and nano-bots in the same shot? Is it random as to who gets which? Or is there some criteria?

        • Night Owl November 21, 2022 at 2:01 pm #

There was a very interesting discussion on this over a year ago at the Corona Ausschuss.

There is some good evidence (from Peter McCulloch, too, IIRC) that Moderna, Pfizer, and AZ worked together to release batches of shots that were more and less deadly, and that they did so in alternating cycles between all three companies.

          • Islander November 21, 2022 at 4:07 pm #

Yes, Dr. Michael Yeadon also discussed this in some detail, showing graphs that showed the spikes at regular intervals.

He contended that there was no way such a pattern could be random. There had to have been collusion between the three producers.

A stitched-up deal; no real competition.

          • Mike G November 22, 2022 at 9:28 am #

Can you imagine being so stupid as to going to walgreens to get a shot for anything. But here is the next stupid thing going to your local pill pusher, doctor, and have them give you the same. The medical profession is kaput. Break out the leeches.

        • GreenAlba November 21, 2022 at 2:17 pm #

This is a whole area where we just don’t know. As you suggest, the people left surviving longest will be largely nano-bot free (hopefully) which spoils their plan for control of the ‘remnant’. That suggests that either the remnant will be force-jabbed in some fashion or that graphene will get to them some other way (graphene molecules have been found in rain droplets after spraying). Or the whole thing will fall apart and the lucky ones will be left alone, if possibly impoverished.

So much is conjecture. I read in a couple of places that the transmission capability of the nano-thingies doesn’t last, hence the endless boosters. That kind of makes sense – why (apart from money) would they bother doing it more than once if an injection gives you a permanent transmitter? They can be disabled, apparently (according toTodd Callender). Dr Lee Merritt has a page on her website with detailed instructions to make Chlorine Dioxide, which apparently does the trick and has other health benefits as well. Todd C and his family are apparently taking it and seemingly have never felt better.

Possibly worth having some (the ingredients anyway) put aside even if you’re not jabbed, given shedding and spraying issues. I keep meaning to get on to it but haven’t got beyond looking for it online.

          • GreenAlba November 21, 2022 at 2:18 pm #

When I say ‘a page’ I mean literally – it is a PDF that you can print off and keep.

          • Jarek November 21, 2022 at 2:22 pm #

No, the opposite: Of the jabbed, those who survive will be altered by the nano-bots. assuming they themselves aren’t deadly. Again, why experiment with nano-bots and give the same people the spiked shots – which we know to be more or less deadly in the short or long term.

Of course the non-Jabbed are likely to be the Darwinian winners – assuming they don’t just come for us at some point in a more overt genocide.

          • GreenAlba November 21, 2022 at 2:25 pm #

When I said ‘survivors’ I meant the totally unjabbed, in the first instance. If the story is that all the injected will have a limited lifespan, then that speaks for itself.

There is also speculation that the nano-tech can be used to literally switch people off as required.

          • Alzaebo November 21, 2022 at 3:42 pm #

I must find that page, asap.

Green Alba, do you realize how many lives, how many of the Remnant, you may have saved just now, with this information?

          • Islander November 21, 2022 at 4:09 pm #

Well, the jabbed who survive will of course also be part of the evolutionary picture.

That is the point of a “cull.” The weakest go first.

          • GreenAlba November 21, 2022 at 5:18 pm #

          • Jarek November 21, 2022 at 5:57 pm #

Well, they don’t plan to kill off all of humanity, just the large majority. Most of the rest will be altered – perhaps thus the nano-bots to induce docility and perhaps specialization a la Brave New World.

They won’t be altered in this way. Instead they will see how it goes and then perhaps transform themselves as they see fit. Enhancement or replacement of parts, not docility or forced specialization.

If they are wise, they will leave a remnant of natural humans in case it all goes bad. Of course that assumes they care and/or have wisdom.

Do you really think the planners have not gamed out what to do in order to get whatever substances they want in all our bodies?

They were looking at getting an HIV vaccine into our food supply and growing it in plants.

This was being reported by Alex Jones over twenty years ago.
Imagine what they are doing now?

The push to grow meat in a test tube will I am sure also include getting all sorts of vaccine into your body and most certainly the meatless meat is already doing something along those lines.

Fellow CFNers, I am as dismayed as you are (well, most you you anyway) at how the American “culture” has devolved over the past years, especially the last 20 years or so. Pretty awful, I would say. Our host. JHK, has said many times we now live in a country where “anything goes and nothing matters.” To me, this phrase says it all. And if we recognize the verity therein, we should not be surprised at anything; at this point, we should certainly be fully jaded. FTX for example. Should we be any more surprised at this than we were at both cameras not working in the federal jail where Jeffrey Epstein met his maker? Of course I could go on and on, citing examples of events that strain the credulity of a reasonable person. But, that characteristic is in the nature of a “culture” where anything goes and nothing matters.

It seems to me America has split into two economic factions.

A recent analysis of visas given to H-1B workers in 2022 Twitter salaries ranged from $122,000 to $332,000, spanning roles between IT engineers to senior software engineers.

The domestic unwashed are lucky to get 20 an hour with no benefits, $40K a year.

Obviously the two groups see money differently. One group values it more, and that is not the group who has it.

America becomes a gated community from a financial point of view. Behind new financial gates, money becomes Monopoly game money, to be played with. Distribution of goodies to some not at all according to need, or the surplus value they produce. Others reap goodies according to mere wants, desire and whim.

For fun, name the American oligarch who is king of whim and desire.

This is not new. Every job offer or job I have had with one of the Beast System’s devoted servants has paid about 3x what I made in the public sector or with small publishers with no connections to said system.

The only difference these days is that ideologically there is almost no difference between most of the public sector entities I worked at and the hydra head that I currently work for.

You aren’t asking me about my medical history are you? You have to ask me what my date of birth is to make sure I am me to ask that question. I don’t want to give my DOB out here. I am sure you understand.

I will admit that I am a Bayesian and it colors my attitude.

The Covid Hoax is driving the push to a digital plantation.

One would think that a future of slavery for you and any children you might have would outweigh concern about disputed climate and resource-related claims.

            We all have our priorities.

          • K-Chien November 21, 2022 at 3:34 pm #

We already are on a digital plantation. You just have not noticed. Americans gave up freedom decades ago. What is the point of defending a simulacrum. None.

The flaw in your argument is assuming we live in system worth defending. A system where we are free. That is delusion. we live in corporate oligarchy. Any freedom you have is in narrow confined limits. Money controls all of us. This is not freedom.

Already this is so. You imagine a future of slavery that is already here. Grandchildren if any will be slaves because we already are.

The cherry on the top is being worked up about side issues that don’t really matter in the bigger picture. You are the perfect slave, because then you don’t know that you are. Humans are imitation machines and we dance to the slavers tune.

As far as I can tell, I do not have a digital ID that is connected with a digitized currency that is programmable and can be shut off the minute I lose too much social credit.

There are no scanners outside of the grocery store blocking me from feeding my family for not being “vaccinated” like you, Dog. (Though France did this for about a month, during the Hoax).

The 2G signs blocking me from entering stores have come down over the past two months here in Germany, but they will certainly be back if we take your path, Dog.

The surveillance state is here and people like you are here to say it ain’t so.

‘On October 31, journalists Lee Fang and Ken Klippenstein released a trove of leaked documents exposing how, in recent years, the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) desire – and ability – to curb speech in both online and offline realms has ramped up significantly.’

The FBI is interested in anyone who threatens operational security.

‘Along the way, a government department ostensibly founded to defend Americans from terrorist violence has become the single biggest threat to free speech in the U.S. What is more, the DHS is being actively abetted in this malign mission by major tech firms.

These papers show that officials at the highest levels of the Department are maneuvering to establish a decisive stranglehold over the flow of information in news outlets and on social media platforms, while covertly co-opting and infiltrating civil society groups as “clearing houses” for government propaganda, and consistently deceiving Americans as to their true intentions.’

Call me a silly dog and I’ll point out the current Ukrainian propaganda campaign dominating ALL major media in America demonstrates what I was, and am talking about.

My quotes come from news that is not mainstream.

Tracking my every move, no that would be crazy Mick. You typed that not me. That was an asshole thing to do.

          • K-Chien November 21, 2022 at 4:04 pm #

Night Owl. You don’t have ‘a digital ID that is connected with a digitized currency that is programmable and can be shut off the minute you lose too much social credit you say.

And when all your credit cards are cancelled at once and your bank card does not work you won’t be saying that.

Make this more interesting. Your digital ID is referenced by your social security number. Your digital ID exists in databases you don’t even know about. If you try to say we are not embedded in digital fabric already you lose. Take away their digital fabric and you will be homeless and hungry in a fortnight. You don’t have enough green paper to last longer than that.

That said people living ordinary compliant lives have nothing to worry about. Being ordinary and compliant gives you freedom.

But, I dare anyone to stand up for something they really believe in that is out of the ordinary and see what happens. See how free you really are.

          • Mick November 21, 2022 at 4:14 pm #

True. No one is truly free in this worldly set-up.

There are very few in some parts of the world who are not in the ‘worldly set up’. But not in the West. Unless you’re talking about Big Foot. I suppose he or she is free.

          • Night Owl November 21, 2022 at 4:17 pm #

It is interesting enough when we focus on the truth, Dog.

I do not have a digital ID that is connected with a digitized currency that is programmable and can be shut off the minute I lose too much social credit.

I can currently enter a grocery store. I can currently ride a bus, though I could not a few months ago.

            I can verify this easily.

You don’t even have a basic argument on offer for anything I just said.

The tyranny we are dealing with, given the scale, is unlike anything seen in history. Slavery that once implemented will be nearly if not entirely irreversible.

We all make our choices, Dog.

          • Mick November 21, 2022 at 4:22 pm #

….oh, and yes I am an asshole. I’ve tried to overcome it. I’m successful sometimes for hours. I think one time I went a few days.

But, I’m afraid it is a congenital problem.

I can joke about it, and sometimes do. I’m not really happy about it though.

I come from a line of assholes on the paternal side of my diseased family tree.

          • K-Chien November 21, 2022 at 4:34 pm #

I live in the land of Bigfoot but have never seen one. I can’t imagine hiding from people all the time is freedom. No time to be free.

In the last two weeks I have seen deer five times. One was as big as a horse with a huge rack. I live in a burb that has wildlife corridor along creeks into the Cascade foothills.

Why so many deer in the suburbs? It got me thinking and I looked up deer season. It started last month. Now it is bow and arrow, and in a while it will be ‘muskets’ only. The deer have moved in because they are hunted. Fast cars are easier to avoid than bullets.

Apparently Bigfeet don’t fear guns and deer can’t hide as well.

Also, I noticed the ads stop once you scroll further down in the comments. They probably figure no one bothers with the deep comments. Well then, they have grossly underestimated the dedication of the CFN commenters then!

I’m back on my Brave browser. No ads at all.

But just to help Jim make some coin, I will login with my more established commercial friendly browser once per day, and will use until the ads start to annoy me. Well, they annoy me right away, but I’ll use discipline. Yes. Discipline.

Just so everyone understands the ads are all different depending on what your computer and or phone hears and looks at your cached search options.
If you look up a new computer and or car you might get targeted advertising for that.
Amazon is terrible for advertising stuff you have already bought.

I’m not getting this NWO BS, My limited circle of friends in Blue MA. have not taken the vax. Why would they? Healthy folks with nothing to fear. My family of ultra wokesters have been 4-5 times vaxxed. Lib Dems, and all school teachers the bunch of them. I’m a pariah in my family. Ask me if I care. Nope. Where I live is a red stronghold surrounded by blue. It hasn’t changed in years. Same with NW CT. where BRH is holding the line.

Since our government, culture, and institutions have been completely infiltrated and taken over by “Globalist Elites and their sub-groups or minions” (for lack of a better term). And since they control everything, and since the Repub “majority” in the house is minimal (especially with the Uni-Party, RINOs, and other Globalist or Leftist or clueless idiots). I don’t see that any of these House “investigations”, “committees”, “task forces” will ever come into being, gain traction, or be effective.

These are desperate criminals (whose ethics and integrity have been replaced by: self-serving agendas, non-survival and insane ideologies, threats of blackmail, character assassination threats, and death threats) who will stop at NOTHING to maintain control and cover up their crimes and manipulations.

Fight them within “the system” that they own and control is a waste of time and total folly.

The only way this will be stopped is by a massive uprising and retaking of our government, culture and country. You can only stop this with a massive and forceful implementation of RULE OF LAW AND JUSTICE… forcefully driving them from their offices and DC, forceful imprisonment, and most likely the street justice of hangings and other executions.

Sorry, I’m not the optimist that JHK is. I’m a realist that is painfully aware of history… and human behaviour.

You either take care of business or you don’t. You stop talking about your concern for you children, grand children, and future of your country… and, you TAKE ACTION.

At this point, it is either “kill, or be killed”. I’d prefer this to be in the figurative rather than the literal sense. I’m not one for violence and force, yet, sometimes and sadly, it might be the only solution.

Q, are you able to get to the scene of the crime and check this out for us? Is it possible this driver was simply angry for the long wait time on getting his Apple products serviced? Or maybe it was retribution for the high prices Apple charges or the slave labor they use in manufacturing?

    Report as follows:

First responders arrived to the scene after a vehicle crashed through the front of an Apple store in Massachusetts on Monday.

At least one person was killed in the incident, and 14 people have been taken to local hospitals with four of them in critical condition, according to local media. The vehicle was still lodged against the back wall of the store as of early afternoon, and Hingham Police called for a tow truck to remove it.

Several people were trapped inside the store until the vehicle could be moved. The store is reportedly nearing collapse after the incident.

Police have not stated whether the crash was intentional or an accident.

Every single day, insanity strikes at society somewhere, lately more than once daily.

      WTF is going on?

Are there more insane people? Is it the fact that people with no hope are just giving in to their whims? Are they homeless? Are they hate crimes generated from a violently divided society?

A common denominator may be the increasing disregard for human life.

I wonder what could be causing that?

      • gustafson.robert.22 November 21, 2022 at 3:22 pm #

Supply and demand. The more individual human lives on offer, the lower the value and price.

This occurred at the Derby Street Shoppes in Hingham, Mass. Maybe the driver was simply following his Apple GPS map prompts to the nearest store, and the car kept going? Probably a malfunction with all the computer software in cares these days.

Remember that old lady a few months back that drove right along a mall hallway at some mall concourse out east? Who do these people think they are?

Remember that old lady a few months back that drove right along a mall hallway at some mall concourse out east?

This was this past August at a mall in Braintree, Mass. Must be something in the water out there….

        • beantownbill. November 21, 2022 at 3:54 pm #

Yes, the local water is laced with drugs. Why, just last night I saw a pink elephant outside my condo. It was shouting Billy, Billy out of its trunk.

Seriously, though, true story: We try to go food shopping at our local Whole Foods on Mondays. It happens to be in the Derby Shops in Hingham, MA. We got up late today, so we were about an hour later than usual. We were just getting dressed to go to Whole Foods when we got a phone call from our daughter saying not to go there; she explained why. If we weren’t late, we probably would’ve been there when the incident occurred. The Derby Shops are laid out like an upside-down rectangular U. Whole Foods is on one end and the Apple store is on the same leg, but at the other end, so we wouldn’t have been hurt if we had been there.

          Speaking about black swans!

LOL! No, it wasn’t nearly that bad. As I said, I was half way in between, so I couldn’t figure out why the harder I pressed on the brake the more it seemed to fight me. It was winter time and I had on clod-hopper shoes, for what it’s worth. Still, it was pretty disconcerting.

“The Biden administration is a humbug when it comes to its stance on China. On one hand, Biden shows the world that the USA is standing up against China, but, on the other, the old senile never fails to please his master in Beijing. If one can recollect, the Biden administration had strongly advised Japan and Netherlands to disconnect their semiconductor supply chain from China, even though, the US and China are covertly shipping boxes of semiconductors between each other.
This hypocritical behaviour by Mr. President needed to be debunked and the Netherlands has just done it. Amsterdam has once more reminded Biden that the world is not his puppet.”

Somali pirates? They were small potatoes, mostly trying to stop those commercial fisherman that vacuum the ocean floor from stealing their fish.

The problem with “truth” and “facts” and “justice” in something like a human collective, for example, is even if what truth is is somehow agreed upon unanimously (which is…impossible) it is still relative and subjugated as a vague back drop rather than a direct informer of collective decision making.
Usually irregardless of how much a juxtaposition between.
Obviously the depth and severity of the contrast comes in waves of historical intensities.

Truth indeed sets you free. However as a world changer it is of small stature. “Truth” is decided upon and used as seen fit by the user. Or whomever may be informing the user.

Will the government hold itself accountable for the misdeed’s of the government…

America is way over 330 million people you are forgetting the millions and millions of people who came here illegally and never went back.
They have been saying 10 million since Reagan got conned into amnesty and now li Schmuck Schumer wants it all over again without the promised fix.
We fell for it once will they fall for it twice?
My guess is 20-40 million people hiding in the shadows and it has become very noticeable since they installed Joe Biden.
I see obvious illegal aliens running amuck all over.

    • Islander November 21, 2022 at 10:25 pm #

It is some weird kind of ironic that the CCTV footage of so many of the :(allegedly) vaccine deaths resemble but are more eary and weird—and credible—than the sudden covid deaths on the streets of China that we were treated to in the early phase of this thing showing people just keeling over inertly.

In these video passages (in the new film) it looks like something has “grabbed” the victims both physically and mentally and twisted the life out of them. .

      • GreenAlba November 22, 2022 at 5:32 am #

I’ve seen thoe ones in other compilations. Others just drop rigid. Dr Rima Laibow calls it ‘planking’ – she says people never died like that before now, as people having heart attacks would ‘fold’ as they fell. The ones you mention look as if they’ve seen something over their shoulder that’s attacking them. It’s really weird. A couple look as if they’re fighting something off. Dr Laibow thinks those are caused by a signal to their phone. You can find her interview by searching ‘Dr Rima Laibow – a new way to die’.

        • Jarek November 22, 2022 at 12:03 pm #

Yes, chilling footage. Or the woman on the platform who twisted around, rolling under the train as she fell.

The much loved (raised in a zoo from cubhood) Polar Bear, Canute, died as an adolescent. He span around a few times and then dropped.

      • MaryQueen November 22, 2022 at 12:36 pm #

My issue with the film in that regard is that I really doubt they vetted to make sure those people collapsed or died as a result of the vaccine(s). This is so important and yet so many of these small documentary filmmakers don’t do their homework. The last guy they showed died from gas poisoning in his place of work.

Also, BOTH sides (pro and anti-vax) were showing footage from a gas leak incident in India where many people died for their propaganda a year or 2 ago. I easily vetted it. It was from 2017.

I’ve also got some other bones to pick with the film after having time to think about it (and as someone studying and working on film editing and documentary film-making).

One thing is, did they consider their audience? Because all of the references to so-called ‘conspiracy theories’ at the beginning (big foot, really?) aren’t doing them any favors as far as hooking in people who already think it’s nuts to question the quacksines. This movie seems to be targeted towards people who already know that the clotshots are bad news. That’s for starters.

I’m glad someone took the time to make this, I think it could have been done better. I am guessing the filmmakers stayed in somewhat of an echo-chamber. I get it, that happens when doing this stuff.

        • GreenAlba November 22, 2022 at 5:08 pm #

That’s a shame about the erroneous footage, because there’s so much available that’s genuine – athletes and celebs collapsing live etc. And the horrific stuff on the clots, as well as the obs/gynae/fertility evidence is so incontrovertible that they didn’t need footage that wasn’t checked.

Watched it. Thought some of it jumped around too much, but FINALLY there was footage of an embalmer (thank you, Richard Hirschman) pulling the white stringy stuff out of an actual dead body. And that bit with the doctor fishing the huge clots out of the heart during open heart surgery–I almost hurled. Graphic shit that should be rolling at Times Square. Horrible. This is what people need to see and I hope they can gut their way through the rest of the film to get to the awful visuals.

Anyone else want to weigh in?

      • GreenAlba November 23, 2022 at 9:19 pm #

Mark Crispin Miller has just put out a piece highlighting a BBC hit job on the film.

So they are worried (the BBC, that is). There’s also an article in the Guardian about Twitter’s difficulties in ‘policing’ content, which mentions the film.

It’s unfortunate that, as Mary pointed out, there are some small inaccuracies in the film, which are a gift to disinformation organisations like the Beeb and the Guardian. For every one error in the film, there are 10 lies in the BBC’s article.

‘The Big Reset’ film is more polished, reflecting the time that was spent on it (18 months) and I’d really recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it. I’ve posted the link before, so apologies for the repetition.

          Thanks, GA.

I will give that one a watch as well.

And yeah, it is unfortunate that they didn’t vet some of their most compelling footage, but let’s hope it opens a few eyes regardless.

If it’s been seen millions of times in the first few days, that says a lot!

Nothing to see here move along!
These are not the droids you are looking for.

Atty Memo: 62% Of Maricopa County Election Centers Had Voting Machines Problems On Election Day

Problems with voting machines in Arizona on Election Day are found to be more widespread than initially reported. A new report by the Daily Caller found that at least 62% of voting centers in Maricopa County had problems with voting machines on Election Day.

The report discovered that the tabulators and printers at the voting centers were malfunctioning. This resulted in long lines and many delays. Due to this, voters skipped the polls because they did not want to stand in line.

A memo written by Arizona’s Attorney General, Mark Brnovich, was cited in the report. Brnovich is demanding for answers as to why there were so many issues with printers on Election Day in Maricopa County.

In a four page document that was released on Saturday, the Republican criticized the county’s administration of the election.

The report by Brnovich was released days before the county is required to certify the results.

Kari Lake, the gubernatorial candidate of Arizona, has been vocal about the issues that occurred in Maricopa County.

“The 2022 General Election in Arizona was botched and broken beyond repair,” Lake claimed. “Thankfully, Attorney General’s office is demanding answers from Maricopa County. Attorney General Mark Brnovich is taking the first steps to necessary to remedy this assault on our Democracy.”

My message to the People of Arizona & the United States: pic.twitter.com/mtNBl7728S

    — Kari Lake (@KariLake) November 21, 2022
Initial reports claimed that only 20% of voting centers had problems on Election Day. The figure grew to 48% and it now appears that two-out-of-three polling places weren’t working on Election Day.

Update: New – 48% of Maricopa election centers had printer or tabulator malfunctions on election day, not the previously estimated 20%. And no such widespread issues were reported during the early voting period that preceded election day and used the very same equipment.

    • Mick November 21, 2022 at 6:36 pm #

I think there is obvious hanky panky goin’ on there in Maricopa County. That’s an awfully high percentage of machines to have that problem.

I think we here in the People’s Republic of Austin use the same machine. I actually like this particular machine because it does print out your choices on this long, thick stock paper that you then take over and feed into another machine that takes it and stores it.

They’ve been using this machine for 4 or 5 years now, and it is much better than the previous machine that was all electronic. I never cared for those.

This current machine, which again seems like the ones used in Maricopa county, has always seemed to be pretty durable and resilient. But if 62% of them fail to properly print the ballots on voting day? That doesn’t seem possible.

      So yeah…..hanky panky was afoot.

Can’t help but notice that both Russia’s and China’s flags are flying at the G20. Putin didn’t go, but he sent a high level Kremlin representative.

So, just a stab in the dark here regarding the agreed upon agenda of the G20. Or maybe it’s not really a stab in the dark…..

What if Putin is playing a role? You know, the “bad boy”. The “Rebel”. Not going along with the globalist agenda. He “invades” helpless “sovereign Ukraine” unjustifiably. Oh yeah, he’s baaaaaaad. Bad Putin. Bad Putin!

Yet, he and his bad boy friend Xi are both probably on board. Both had vaxxes after all. Both had COVID protocols. Of course China is still locking down.

And, if you give it some deeper thought, look how the “invasion of Ukraine” has contributed to food insecurity. (Problem meet reaction meet solution). Russia and China both already have internet surveillance and censorship down pat. Western world leaders envy them on that. And don’t even get me started on ‘social credit scoring’.

Yeah…..Putin and Xi both are probably not as antagonistic to globalism as we’ve been lead to believe. There will always be spats between criminals. That goes on in the criminal underworld. But, on the whole, big picture……all are on board.

And maybe, just maybe, the PTBs like a little “in fighting” for public dramatic consumption.

Just some things to make you go hmmmmmm…..

Who is to say Putin and Xi are not on the take for their part?

          • Mick November 21, 2022 at 7:52 pm #

Oh you bet there’s some pie slicing going on. These are all criminals after all. All of them.

I posted a story above earlier about the Netherlands getting pissed off when the found out that the US is still trading with China in the semiconductor arena. The US has been forbidding Euro nations from doing this.

And one thing that really seemed odd to me regarding the Nordstream pipeline attack was that Russia really didn’t respond with that much outrage. I mean it was basically a whisper. Of course Putin damn well knows who did it. He new probably five minutes after it happened. Now I’m thinking he knew who it would be well before it happened and expected it.

It was a reaction of a shrugged shoulder. “Eh….what can you do. US does these things.”

          • benr November 21, 2022 at 7:59 pm #

Any reaction might spark WW3 and 100 mini suns lighting off all over Russia,China, Euroland and ‘Murica.

          • Mick November 21, 2022 at 8:03 pm #

I’m not talking about that kind of reaction. I’m not even talking about Putin doing something militarily at all as a reaction. Or say, sending a stuxnet style virus to the US to shut down a power grid or something.

I just figured more “outrage” would be expressed. Like maybe filing a grievance with the UN. His minister of foreign affairs going ballistic. Pounding a show on a lectern Khrushchev style.

But it was just a peep. I thought to myself several days later that it was as though he wasn’t surprised at all. And also maybe kinda ok with it.

          • Islander November 21, 2022 at 10:53 pm #

            Re “reactions” and “outrage”—

I don’t think Putin and Co. let their buttons get pushed. Putin prefers proactive.

Not to mention, that that “reaction” of this sort is totally contrary to the basic premises of judo, aikido, karate, whatever.

Looking at the list of his pieces going back to the beginning of the covid op it is quite striking how far ahead of a whole bunch of curves Engdahl has been.

Just read through the titles and you will see what I mean—from the fertilizer to the diesel crunch to the conspiracy against farmers to the shipping and supply line crisis—Engdahl has gotten there years ahead of the pack.

    Dear JHK Admin,
The stillness of winter–this is the time of the turning. And that turning is happening in the human world, but not quite the way you think.
    1. The collapse of the crypto market–what connections does it have to markets not designed for the use of criminals and others betting casino style? In the absence of evidence that people have SIGNIFICANTLY leveraged themselves from the regular financial markets to the crypto Ponzi scheme, I don’t see this spilling over into the rest of the economy. The Mob loses money, as does Putin, but collapse of the regular economy? I don’t think so.
    2. You continue making predictions about Ukraine. What predictions that you have made have come true? Sorry, none, as far as I can tell. Ukrainians will suffer this winter–because the “civilized” non-Nazi Russians, who act like Nazis funnily enough–will make it so. But if Germans in WWII could survive carper bombing, I don’t think this breaks the will of the Ukrainians–if they are still supported by the West. Now I grant that eventually, you might be right, but as an alternative prediction–check out the ISW–they have a VERY GOOD track record as to predictions about the Ukrainian war as well as an understanding of what has been going on. Meduza offers some nuance as well. Here is a counter-argument for your predictions: What is to stop the Ukrainians from reusing the tactics that they used to free Kherson–using superior firepower to destroy forward supply points to cut Russian effectiveness? Grinding death mincing happening–for both sides. Reading alternative sources to Russian official media provides a picture of a regime under pressure–that will only increase as increasing numbers of Russians come back dead or maimed. For the Ukrainians–a war of survival; for Russia–a war of choice. That asymmetry does not work in Russia’s favour–as evidenced by the splintering of Russia’s information space concerning the poor morale of conscripts. Oh–here is my prediction–Russia and Putin becomes more and more the serf of China and its ambitions.
    3. So, by “early in 2023,” like the New Year perhaps, the Covid vaccine will be shown to be responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands? OK, that is a prediction we can sink our teeth into. And if it doesn’t happen that way–if we see some bad reactions–as we do with most vaccines–at the going rate, what then? Predict that by “the middle of 2023” it will happen? Will you just assert correlation is causality as has been the case so far? Or, will you suggest that the choice to get vaccinated has to way the potential benefits versus the potential costs? That getting vaccinated means that you are way less likely to die from Covid; that has to be offset against the possibility of a bad reaction to the shot?
    4. And as for election stealing? The fact that one cannot point to any causal case–apart from screeching about “theft” and not a single winnable court case in sight–be enough to just let this go? Golly! Republicans got the House. How could that be possible if the claims deniers make were even remotely true? One could look to gerrymandering. Or a whole bunch of other causes including the negative impact of keeping up the theft narrative on Republicans actually voting–for why Republicans did so poorly. If deniers couldn’t prove in court what they asserted after 2020, then, good luck, in 2023. But, hope springs eternal.

      * right place *

      • hustled enough November 22, 2022 at 2:22 am #

        Hi KesaAnna,
Thank you for your implied question. The hustle is in two directions:
First, in purporting to use rational modes of conversation when these are in fact not used. For example, ignoring basic heuristics of historical investigation such as corroboration, sourcing, contextualization, and absence of relevant information. One could add other logical fallacies such as ad hominem attacks that detract from an interlocutor’s argument by showing how intellectually bankrupt it is, or the confusion of correlation and causation or incorrectly applying statistical methods, which happens a lot here. And this is done to fit narratives that would otherwise not make any sense. For example, the claims that only 5000 Russian personnel have died in the Ukraine War is just plainly stupid for a great many reasons (which I have gone into detail about in previous posts), but has not been repudiated here, as far as I can tell solely to support narratives favourable to supporters of Russian involvement in Ukraine. Predictions are often made on this site; I have no problem with that. What I have a problem with is that following the failure of so many predictions to come true in any number of areas (Ukraine, election stealing, etc.) there is no effort made to update obviously flawed models of the world, but rather to instead double down with even more predictions that in turn prove incorrect.

Second, I view the mainstream media as a two edged weapon–one has to weigh claims and statements against a series of heuristics (e.g., Cui Bono?) to work out why something is being offered at this particular point. Which particular corporational interest in being served here? Also, the first reporting on things tend to be subject to wild swings of what actually happened. It becomes clearer with time, using other heuristics like corroboration, etc, and simple statistical tools (e.g., Paul Pelosi as a victim of a bad homosexual hook-up experience as just being R-O-N-G, wrong…). MSM reporters/commentators sometimes(!) lack the capacity to distinguish between causation and correlation, add in their own prejudices (e,g,. a dislike of Donald Trump colours some claim), and add 2 + 2 together and get 3.5 or 4.5. Not good. I get that many folks here dislike the MSM, but many folks–including the bloggers that folks like to mention here and rely on often USE the MSM to back and frame their claims whilst simultaneously deriding it as propaganda. Sorry, I find that view incoherent for the most part, in the absence of some pretty careful work, which is mostly missing from the blog posts folks here ask me to read (and which I do).

Ok so you are saying that the Democrat party is the mob. We can throw some Rinos in there too if you desire bipartisanship. That sounds like a reasonable conclusion

I disagree that this is a war of choice for Russia. In fact, Putin has made it clear that the war is existential for Russia. Russia already possesses 20% of Ukraine and 40% of Ukraine’s critical infrastructure has been blasted into the stone age. This is not good.

Regarding the shots – you need to see the stringy rubbery looking blood clots that are being found in the vaxed. You need to look up died suddenly. The plethora of fact checkers droning that particular search should tell you what the regime wants to hide.

Regarding the elections I see you never mentioned Arizona. Funny that. When you live in a corporation you have no standing when it comes to voting. Unless you are a shareholder. So expecting a court to do something is magical thinking. But the courts work for whom they wish.

      • hustled enough November 23, 2022 at 1:25 am #

        Hi SoftStarLight,
You would have to include a lot more folks who buy into the QAnon conspiracy clams without following basic processes of rational argument or thinking. You can be pissed at a system that threw most of us overboard a long time ago, but Republicans are even more guilty of that bullshit than Dems are. That shit started in the 1980s, and hasn’t let up. Evidence: Check average real GDP per worker versus average real median wage for workers between 1979 to the present.
You will have to explain to me how “This is not a war of choice” is supported by the claim that Russia possesses 20% of it, has blown up 40% of it, and how claiming it is in an existential struggle for it–proves anything? The irony is that this war has become an existential struggle for Putin!
The fact that people die is not good, but what you would need to do is to actually do a double blind study of vaccinated versus non-vaccinated and look at excess deaths for the two groups. Since there are a lot of reasons for excess deaths, this is a more complex issue than the way it is presented by folks on the right.
People mention Arizona–as in–the vote there was well-handled, with no evidence of widespread fraud–as was also the case in 2020. That zip cases made it through the courts (which require EVIDENCE to prove otherwise hearsay claims) should be enough to close the door on those claims.

    • GreenAlba November 22, 2022 at 6:13 am #

“That getting vaccinated means that you are way less likely to die from Covid; that has to be offset against the possibility of a bad reaction to the shot?”

      Hustlers gonna hustle.

      • hustled enough November 23, 2022 at 1:28 am #

        Hi GreenAlba,
If you can’t actually process what I am saying in terms of assessing risk and probabilities, that is on you. As a hint, you have to weigh the benefits of the vaccine against the costs. And that is the case with ALL vaccines. Since so few get bad reactions, as a percentage of shots, we usually assent to getting vaccinations, for things like polio, measles, covid, and a whole bunch of other diseases that used to kill us in large numbers…

It’s all been processed and the risks and probabilities are out there. Well, not the full, long-term risks, obviously, as the final carnage won’t be known for years. And the full carnage won’t ever be published in the MSM, obviously, where the truth is censored and they daren’t allow any dissenting scientist or doctor to speak. Not only daren’t allow them do speak, but one was put in a mental institution for going public with the number of stillbirths in his hospital. Others have been obliged to undergo psychiatric testing, USSR style, for speaking out.
The quacksine is ineffective and unsafe, exactly as designed.

I’m not going to repeat the data again, because you’re a troll and giving data to trolls is one of those pearls to swine situations.

Like I said, hustlers gonna hustle. I guess you deserve pity for whatever it is that makes you need to be a troll, but that’s as far as it goes.

            Hi GreenAlba,
The data disagrees with you. Given the number of shots given, the efficacy is very high. Some people do have bad reactions. The CDC tracks this information. If you shared that information, you would have to actually agree with me about what I am saying to you. But that would detract from your claims, GreenAlba. The anecdotal evidence you speak to is not proof that you are right. That is why scientists do studies. And so far, the horror stories you offer are not indicative of an unfolding disaster. Correlation does not make causality. You seem to ignore that–either deliberately or unintentionally–in support of a claim that you can’t support as much as you would like.

“Like I said, hustlers gonna hustle.” I agree with you, GreenAlba. They do indeed.

          • Paula D November 23, 2022 at 2:34 pm #

The data actually shows that the shots are spectacularly ineffective.

The countries with the highest rate of “vaccination” are also the ones with the highest rate of covid cases.

I don’t know what you think “efficacy” means, but it is clearly not what you think it means.

          • GreenAlba November 23, 2022 at 5:45 pm #

Stop being stupid. The statistics say you are way more likely to get covid if you are vaxxed than if you are not. And to die from it. They don’t stop infection and they don’t stop transmission. And, given that we know only a minute percentage of adverse effects and deaths are ever recorded, we know that millions have died around the world from the shots. And will continue to die from them.
All you can do is continue to bleat ‘correlation is not causation’ like a demented sheep. How loudly did you bleat ‘correlation is not causation’ when they were wrongly attributing millions of deaths to covid?

Quit hustling – you are not just a troll but a tedious troll. Kids are dying from the shots who were at no risk whatever from covid. Yet you don’t do a risk-benefit analysis for them. And many of them have been rendered infertile, as per the huge drop in fertility starting 9 months after the quacksine rollout.

Go debate in public with Steve Kirsch – he’s looking for an opponent. Stop wasting my time.

Honest governments do not need to censor opposing scientists and have their careers destroyed (and put them in mental institutions. End of. No-one not following the government script has been allowed to speak in the mainstream media.

          • hustled enough November 23, 2022 at 10:05 pm #

            Hi Paula D,
You have to look at the relative percentage of people DYING from covid. The shots don’t stop you from getting covid. They are just better at lowering the death rate from covid. Also, you would expect–if that is true–that the more people are vaccinated relative to those not vaccinated, that you would have more vaccinated people getting covid–as a percentage of the population. You would expect that their rate of death would be lower than for non-vacc folks. In the US, that is spectacularly the case.

          • hustled enough November 23, 2022 at 11:07 pm #

            Hi GreenAlba,
I can tell that my arguments are not making you happy. The correlation-causation issue is at the heart of this. You certainly do not disagree with me. Your quote: “when they were wrongly attributing millions of deaths to covid.” Yes. it looks like “they” did attribute deaths to covid that should not have done so and vice versa, for that matter. The difference between you and I is that you clearly ascribe bad motives to doing this–without evidence. You assume that any mistake has to be malevolent–that is a correlation to some other issues you think are important–whatever they may be. I don’t think that way of connecting dots is sensible, rational, or healthy. You want to make your case–bring the evidence forth that supports the causal connections! The fact is, you cannot. And when you act as if it is enough to assert your conclusions, that is a hustle.

          • GreenAlba November 24, 2022 at 6:27 am #

            Keep trolling, troll.

If ‘they’ were not malevolent, ‘they’ would be having multiple OPEN debates with doctors and scientists that oppose government measures. If they were not malevolent, they would not be injecting babies and children who are at no risk of dying of covid. If they were not malevolent, they would not be injecting pregnant women with an experimental drug.
If they were not malevolent they would not be putting a doctor in a mental institution for going public with the unprecedented number of stillbirths ONLY among injected women, in his hospital. If they were not malevolent they would not have taken away Dr Meryl Nass’ licence to practice for giving life-saving medication to her patients. And they would not have instructed her to undergo a psychiatric test, as in the USSR.

And if you were not malevolent, you would quit with the passive-aggressive ‘Hi’. And you would quit trolling.

No ‘vaccine’ was ever necessary. Even with their utterly dishonest ‘test’ , their utterly dishonest statistics and their medical malfeasance in (a) refusing proven early treatments to covid patients (aka medical homicide) and using harmful and inappropriate protocols instead, like Remdesivir and ventilators, covid only managed a death rate of 0.067%. If they had not miscounted the deaths and not refused people appropriate treatment, there would be so many zeros in that figure that even a troll like you would be embarrassed.

Troll away – everyone on here knows what you are.

          • GreenAlba November 24, 2022 at 6:39 am #

“The shots don’t stop you from getting covid. They are just better at lowering the death rate from covid.”

We already have multiple, safe and effective drugs, proven safe over decades, that do that – really do that rather than claim to do that – for very little cost. If ‘they’ were not malevolent, they would have used these.

And if ‘they’ were not malevolent, they would not have mandated experimental injections while knowing perfectly well that said injections do not stop infection or transmission. In fact they would not have mandated an experimental injection AT ALL, since that is against the provisions of the Nuremberg Code.

            Hi GreenAlba,
Let me use your last piece of “evidence” that you posted from the “AFinalWarning” website as retwitted by James Melville. When I read the breathless article, I was struck by the incuriosity of the author: “The only areas of the world seeing mass disease and death are those pushing the “vaccines”” That is a correlation. The conclusion you support is based on that correlation. I have no idea if it is true and the

You and I approach your evidence differently. For you, it is confirmation of your point of view, and you stop there. Nothing I write or cite is going to change your mind. For me, your tweet link is a starting point to explore what I have just read. I read the article your tweet is based on. That is an interesting situation! Is the claim true? Yes, different sites including mainstream ones support the claim made. How interesting! A quick Google, gets me this: nytimes.com/2022/03/23/health/covid-africa-deaths.

It is helpful. You could be right–covid could be a hoax! the vaccines don’t work! I don’t think you are right about that but that is why I look at the evidence. And consider ALTERNATIVE EXPLANATIONS to the favourite one that you have glomed onto as THE answer or to the one I think is right. And when you read that article, it is clear that there a ton of other explanators that can give a different answer to the one that you and many others here have settled upon. So, that becomes the basis for further research. Lack of measures and reporting in some African countries; age differences and differences in chronic disease rates; excess death data; and so on. South Africa which tracks things more carefully than other parts of Africa (more resources spent on this?) has higher death rates from Covid than other parts of Africa. Zimbabwe anecdotally featured in ETHANH’s AFW article you signposted so I thought I should look at that data. Zimbabwe’s data on covid infection rates followed by death rates tracks with my explanation rather than with yours… >40% of Zimbabwe’s population has had at least one shot, and the last infection-death cycle appears to support the CAUSAL idea that vaccination lowers death rates (from the WHO website I just visited). I accept that I should be careful in making that claim as there may be other EXPLANTORS that might account for something that supports my point of view. For example, I couldn’t find data on Zinbabwe’s excess death rates. If you have that and a link, I would appreciate it. But I am not the one using AFinalWarning with its breathless, inflammatory, and emotionally manipulative style as my evidence source. It is just a launching point for delving into the issues a bit deeper.

So, I invite you to do that work, GreenAlba.

If you believe that I am making “inflammatory, insincere, digressive, extraneous, or off-topic messages online, or in real life, with the intent of provoking others into displaying emotional responses, or manipulating others’ perceptions” than you have every right to call me your inflammatory and extraneous term designed to elicit an emotional response from me (of being butt hurt, I guess) or yourself (the relief of the dismissal of an unpleasant–to you–person).

But you might want to also look in a mirror when you do that.

            Hi GreenAlba,
You are an interesting one. You want to call me a troll, but I don’t act like one, and that is scrambling your habitual modes of thinking and feeling in public forums like this. Because I disagree with you using slow thinking techniques; I don’t go around insulting you and I answer your questions–pretty forthrightly, I might add. So, you don’t know what to make of me.

You talked about malevolence and I didn’t engage you explicitly on this and focused instead on the other point YOU raised. You appeared to be annoyed by that. Why? You can probably understand why your reply could feel like a “bait and switch” move. I choose not to consider it so–you might be impatient for any number of reasons: busy cooking, or eating, or entertaining, or having a hard time in some aspect of your life, etc… In other words, I extend charity to you and your behaviour.

In general–to answer you, the issue of malevolence is an issue of ascribing bad faith to the actions of folks. You may be right, but as I have explained in that “wall of text” you disliked, there are many possible explanators for the behaviour we observe. The views of those being “persecuted” may be accurately described as you suggest, but one would have to delve deep into it to determine how likely that was to being true; how widespread, how much actual info one can get hold of in legally shielded proceedings, etc. I did this work with your last stated claim.

As for the Nuremburg Codes? For another time.

Here’s my advice. You’ve given me so much benefit of your time and expertise that you should share it out more fairly. There is no shortage of people here who utterly disagree with your disingenuous explanations of things that have very clearly been done with malevolent intent (because when things are innocent mistakes, apologies and corrections are issued, which they never are in this context).

So, take it up with someone else, since you don’t like my attitude.

            Good luck.

If others wish to engage with me I only ask that they be respectful.
It doesn’t always happen, but I affirm its possibility.

If the players have to get out of crypto, then where does that money flow?

Jim is speculating that “early January 2023, the country is liable to be punch-drunk and stumbling from a financial market crash that signals the start of an economic depression more consequential than the calamity of the 1930s.”.

What qualifies as a “financial market crash”? Five hundred on the S&P?

I’m with you, but not because I believe that the collapse of the crypto market will not impact the general markets, but as MA promotes, that in a world where all currencies need to be devalued, the US$ is (has been) the only viable option to accommodate the money flow.

The crash will happen after the other currencies have been devalued, and the smart money makes a move to get out of the dollar, and then out of the overvalued general US markets.

If you own a US business, and anticipate inflation, how do you avoid a devaluation? If you put your money in inventory, that could dodge the bullet, and add value to your business.

The stock markets go up because of money flow, and a short squeeze; and then the devaluation exit crash (look at the 10 year chart of the MERVAL, and the Peso).

With every government issuing their own crypto, I suspect that they hope to be able to control the money flow. Will it happen in time? Will they be able to control the flow? At what point does the population of the world hold their nose and go for the Chinese digital currency (or perhaps the Russian ruble)?

Is there a US$ liquidity problem, and therefore justification for all the reckless spending?

      • hustled enough November 23, 2022 at 2:10 pm #

        Hi TPTB-USA,
Thank you for your reply. I have no problem with “Jim speculating” apart from the confidence he has for his speculation AND with not providing a mechanism as to why the Crash would be happening over the holiday period. As I said, what is the transmission mechanism from the crypto market to the regular financial markets?

You offer a different approach–though I have some confusion of timings–are you saying that you expect inflation rather than depression? The question I ask you is: Why would people leave the US dollar to invest in their inventories (i.e., produce more when they are not selling what they produce)–if we are heading towards depression or recession? Or are you disagreeing with JHK Admin on that point? Wouldn’t inventories that are not being sold act as a drag on businesses who could be doing something else with their money–getting 0.25% in the bank as opposed to nothing in an inventory that will have to have its prices slashed to get rid of it during a recession, etc? What am I missing here, if I have this wrong?

If there is inflation, what type is it? Monetary? Or supply side constriction based? So, I guess I want to know more concerning what you think are the base conditions for your analysis. HE

        • TPTB-USA November 23, 2022 at 11:31 pm #

          Part 1
“I have no problem with “Jim speculating” apart from the confidence he has for his speculation AND with not providing a mechanism as to why the Crash would be happening over the holiday period. As I said, what is the transmission mechanism from the crypto market to the regular financial markets? ”

I don’t have a problem with “Jim speculating” either, in fact it liven things up when someone sticks their neck in the noose.

It is my opinion that the “transmission mechanism” is money flow, and this is what causes problems.

Within the last month, there was news that China’s digital yuan had gained the title of being the most adopted CBDC in the world.

          For some background:
“… the greater power given to the PBOC by the DCEP would allow it to have more control over the total volume of money supply according to economic conditions.”

“Citic Securities estimated the total size of China’s digital currency could reach 1 trillion yuan (US$140 billion) over the coming years, equivalent to digitalising around one eighth of China’s cash. In comparison, the total market capitalisation of cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, is around US$200 billion.”

I have in mind that when they started their trials, they passed laws that basically banned any competing currency.

China Looking to Regulate Gold & Bitcoin

          Can Cryptocurrencies Survive?

A review of the long term charts of all the major crypto currencies reveals that the whole basket is sick.

If the object is not to get stuck with “The Old Maid”, where does the money flow?

          • hustled enough November 24, 2022 at 4:09 pm #

That is a really interesting observation, TBTP-USA. I especially found the bit “I have in mind that when they started their trials, they passed laws that basically banned any competing currency” really interesting. This would give the Chinese government control over its digital currency, and alleviate one of my main criticisms with bitcoin style currency instruments–the speculative boom-bust behaviour that bedevils this asset class. It also unfortunately allows for greater monitoring of currency transactions which is good to look at criminal activities, but unfortunately is not good for human rights…

The speculative elements are small still, given total capital flows on any given day in the world. So, is your thinking that this might become a problem further down the line as other nations adopt digital currencies in a big way? Wouldn’t the capacity to outlaw unwanted capital flows–as your articles suggest–work against this kind of meltdown?

          • TPTB-USA November 24, 2022 at 10:32 pm #

            Let’s cut to the chase.

If the existing format for life is nothing more than a played-out, silly little game, what should be the rules for the new format for life, and who should be in charge?

        • TPTB-USA November 24, 2022 at 5:35 pm #

          Part 2
“You offer a different approach–though I have some confusion of timings–are you saying that you expect inflation rather than depression?”

My thinking is that there are many moving parts, and prior to a CBDC, money flow was the monkey in the drivers seat.

Would you agree that inflation is a form of devaluation?

If the US government has no intention of paying off its debt, what are it’s options? Default or devaluation? Inflation looks
          inevitable to me.

At this point in US history, I believe that a depression would be crippling, so I expect TPTB to try and avoid it at all costs.

“The question I ask you is: Why would people leave the US dollar to invest in their inventories (i.e., produce more when
they are not selling what they produce)–if we are heading towards depression or recession?

… Wouldn’t inventories that are not being sold act as a drag on businesses who could be doing something else with their
money–getting 0.25% in the bank as opposed to nothing in an inventory that will have to have its prices slashed to get rid of it during a recession, etc?”

Are you aware that over the last 2 years that the DXY has seen a 25% appreciation, and since the beginning of this month, it has seen a 6% decline?

If a currency looses half its value, won’t it cost twice as much to buy the widget? The object is to side-step the devaluation. Prior to a devaluation a company has $1m in buying power; and after $0.5m. If they put all their money into inventory prior to a devaluation they would have no money, and $1m worth of inventory; and after they would potentially have inventory valued at $2m? Sure, a lack of sales is a drag, but if a company is stuffed to the gills with inventory, they could always buy their company stock shares; and for the DOW companies, they could potentially hop to a different currency.

Things are relative in good times and bad times, so isn’t the object of the transition survival?

Why is the DXY declining, and will the decline continue? The yuan is also down during this period, but the ruble is flat. Looks like the money is going back to Europe for some reason. Perhaps the US election outcome? Biden policies stink, so they are taking their money back home? Investigations by a new congress? Currency speculation? Rolling devaluations?

          • hustled enough November 24, 2022 at 8:24 pm #

            Hi TPTB-USA,
“Would you agree that inflation is a form of devaluation?”
Yes; it is a reduction in real purchasing power.
“Are you aware that over the last 2 years that the DXY has seen a 25% appreciation, and since the beginning of this month, it has seen a 6% decline?”
No, I wasn’t aware of this. I checked the dollar index on line, marketwatch.com/investing/index/dxy. From May 2020 to the present the index moved from 99.97 (3May202) to 113.31 (9Oct2022). A change of 13+%?
“If a currency looses half its value, won’t it cost twice as much to buy the widget?”
Check out the index over the last ten years. If what you said was true, then we should have seen a >35+% increase in the pricing of widgets (and I am guessing for all goods in the economy) sometime between May 2001 and June 2008? The reason this did not happen is that there is not a one to one correspondence between prices and exchange rates–lots of things can play a role in mediating these variables.
“Why is the DXY declining, and will the decline continue?”
I don’t know. What I do know is that in these uncertain times, whenever there is instability in the world, overseas investors park their money differentially in the US–it is seen as a “safe haven.” That will tend to be the case with things like the Ukraine War happening–and we saw the US dollar strengthen as a consequence. That can change–especially if Republicans in the House decide to destroy America’s credibility as a “safe haven” and not back US debt as they have suggested they might do.

These days even teenage girls with deep pockets look like guys who are slumming it !

A few months back I was watching a documentary on the troubles in Northern Ireland , and there were shots , for example , of children in low rent sections of Northern Ireland , and what struck me like a hammer was — sure , they were obviously poor , sure , they were a bit shabby — BUT STILL OBVIOUSLY DRESSED UP , and not for the cameras either , the focus of the camera was on the riot or the bombing.

    But that’s just one example.

Up until about 1980 , not just evil politicians , not just blood- sucking lawyers and bankers ,

But pretty much everybody , at least regularly, dressed up to some degree.

Why the fuck did an entire society , an entire civilization , decide looking like the meanest peasant was the best look ?

It strikes me as completely fucking bananas.

Yes, it always seems like when you see old timey photos of like the mid 20th century and past that everyone is dressed nicely or at least neatly. I guess there are variations of the idea of dressed up but I assume we agree that seeing people wearing pajamas to winn dixie is distressing. Wow! This is such a rich and complicated question it is worth perhaps a dissertation. In one sense it is a symptom of a throw away culture that is built around instant convenience that has normalized cruder and cruder manifestations of personal worth and interpersonal interactions. And now things that were once considered unattractive or said to be attractive and good. And also it has been normalized that you can’t criticize others for how they present themselves because you risk becoming an ist of one form or nother. So the feedback loops actually encourage trends of unattractive and shabby fashion and lowered standards generally across the board.

A lot of the old mobsters (and new, I guess) liked to dress to the nines. ‘What, me a criminal with these threads?’ Of course, law enforcement wasn’t fooled for long.

I love film noir from the forties and fifties, and love seeing gangsters and detectives both seeming to compete for the cover of GQ or Esquire magazine with their dapper suits and dandy fedoras.

Dick Powell suited up well. In the “Pope of Greenwich Village” Mickey Roark makes it a point to look sharp before confronting Burt Young in a showdown near the end. Cagney, Bogey, Garfield, Raft, Pesci, de Niro, Nick Nolte and crew in “Mulholland Falls”, etc., etc., all looked good in suits and ties.

The image says a lot. “Miami Vice” on tv was dressy in a loose, louche way. But what about the Wall Street ‘power’ suit, is it really any different from the sharkskin gangster suit?

Make a statement, that’s what a suit can do. Look at the Pachucos and the Zoot suits.

“Fashion is what you adopt when you don’t know who you are.” Maybe all those people Kesa mentions know who they are, but I doubt it.

ZZ Top summed it all up though. “Every Girl Crazy ‘Bout a Sharp Dressed Man”.

Yes, I left out Gotti, the ‘Dapper Don’ and Bugsy Siegel, how could I? Look at Bugsy’s death photo. Goin’ out in style, but without an eye? Uggghh! How unfashionable!

        • BackRowHeckler November 22, 2022 at 6:30 am #

Bugsy was indeed ‘Dressed to the Nines’, even in the early days when he was a member of ‘Murder Incorporated’, and took out Dutch Schutz at a Steak House in Newark. Turns out the Dutchman was making a lot of noise about whacking Prosecuting Attorney Tom Dewey — and who needs that kind of heat? The order was given, and Schultz had to go.

        • Jarek November 22, 2022 at 12:11 pm #

Attorney and White Nationalist, Edgar Steele, always advised young men to dress sharply and give up the skinhead look. But yes, look at all the well dressed scumbags, both “legit” and overtly criminal. Why look like that? Don’t we need a new culture?

Always the either/or. Why not the higher third to create a new line?

        • SoftStarLight November 23, 2022 at 12:36 am #

All snakes wearing different skins lol! And yet do we not marvel at the brilliant patterns, colors and iridescence.

    • MaryQueen November 22, 2022 at 12:25 pm #

      Dressing nicely shows self-worth, IMHO.

Especially when a young adult. Isn’t that when you want to attract a mate? How do people attract others in sweatsuits and sneakers? LOL.

Besides the sloppiness, it sort of wipes out any smidge of uniqueness.

      • benr November 23, 2022 at 10:14 am #

I see many ladies pull those sweats up and then roll the waist so they leave very little to the imagination much like Yoga pants.
I am going to also assume no underwear or bras.
I don’t pay attention to men so I can’t help you there.

      • Anthea November 23, 2022 at 8:53 pm #

        @ MaryQueen:

I agree. The way a person dresses not only shows self-worth but also makes many other kinds of statements–for those who know how to read them. Sometimes the statement is a matter of pure visual pleasure. Other times it may be a statement about how your perceive yourself. E.g., if a person wears an Aran sweater, what are they saying about themselves? What about a skirt with a Chiquita Banana ruffle? Obviously, Birkenstocks make one kind of statement and ankle-straps with five-inch heels make a different kind of statement. Colors tell you things about a person. Are they wearing red? What if they’re wearing beige or tan tones? How ’bout “mossy” tones?

There is a lot to unpack, when it comes to people’s clothing choices.

Then there’s jewelry. Are they wearing a Hand of Fatima necklace, a Celtic-style locket, Indian beads, or a necklace with a squash-blossom motif?

There’s a secret code going on there–and a very interesting one.

        • MaryQueen November 24, 2022 at 3:04 pm #

Nice observance, Anthea. I am always appreciative of women or men who obviously put thought into their outfits.

    • Islander November 22, 2022 at 3:55 pm #

I have similar thoughts on the way people dress these days.
I was about to write “Teenagers have always . . . ” but then I remembered that the concept of the teenager as a special demographic and market niche was, I think, a marketing ploy of the fifties.

Anyhow, I have a photo of my elementary school taken in 1952. Four grades in one room. My sister and two cousins and I all wore plaid woolen pinafores and white cotton blouses underneath, and leather tie-up shoes or Mary Janes. Very neat.

I *remember* those pinafores. Since I was the youngest of three girls, I never had anything new. Same for my same-age cousin, also the youngest of three girls.

Then there is also the topic of mending. My mother had a mending basket. She sewed on missing buttons, fixed open seams, let down dresses, put on patches on elbows and knees, binding on frayed sleeves, even darned a few socks. She was not particularly domesticated and I don’t think she enjoyed mending, but she knew how to do this work, and it was necessary. We simply could not afford to throw things out because they developed holes or the sleeves became frayed.

No one in our school had money, but most were neatly dressed. A few children came from disorderly families and they, too, looked disorderly, sometimes wearing quite odd get-ups that looked dirty.

One pair of girls wore dresses made by their mother from flour sacks. They had pretty flower patterns. I wanted one! I wanted my mother to be the type of mother who sewed me a new dress instead of just mending old ones.

In case anyone is curious about flour-sack dresses, here is a link:

I can’t help wondering whether the creep of sports clothing into the streetwear sphere and also the advent of ubiquitous fleece clothing has led to a lot of people dressing sloppily.

A frightening ((:-)) number of females of all ages and shapes wear tights, instead of skirts or dresses or trousers or even jeans.

As for the intentionally shabby look—Marie Antoinette might understand dressing down, even though her shepherdess outfits did not have holes in them.

I sometimes wonder whether the patched look will become some kind of fashion statement in the Long Emergency—kind of like in Amsterdam in the 1970s, when the hippie look was run up on ancient treadle machines.

      • Anthea November 24, 2022 at 8:06 am #

        @ Islander:

I resented dressing up in the 50s and well into the 60s because almost all clothing during that era was horrendously ugly. By the 60s, my mother’s generation favored polyester double-knit pants suits. Even the shoes were hideous. Jeans were actually a lot better looking than almost anything else you could wear.

Of course, I’m speaking from the perspective of someone who grew up in a relatively poor rural area, where most people ordered their wardrobes from the Sears-Roebuck catalog.

It is very interesting timing too that CBS “realizes” that the laptop is an actual phenomenon. I suppose that is their way of prepping the people still doing masks and zelensky flags for some disheartening revelations about dear leader? There are rumblings that the revelations will unravel the regime. Not so sure it will be that easy but love the idea of that particular mafia getting exposed either way.

  52. SoftStarLight November 22, 2022 at 2:17 am #

So glad you didn’t have to deal with the 6 feet of snow Mr. K. I can’t even wrap my mind around that concept. I mean basically at that point you are living in a glacier. It will be interesting to see what surprises the natural world has in store for us in the coming days, weeks, and months in addition to the social and political dramas.

    • Woodchuck November 22, 2022 at 12:30 pm #

The natural world may have a terrible calamity in store for us. At the moment, humanity has an elite predator cult that claims it alone will reduce human population down to a manageable size, that we cannot support 8 billion people using sustainable methods of agriculture. Once the food supply system collapses, so will the population, the predators plan to do with us as farmers do with their herds. It could be that while this great reset crapola/delusion is going on we are also heading full bore into another scheduled grand solar minimum. They come every 2 or 3 centuries, and grand minimums in the past have always been accompanied by war, pestilence, and famine. Crops fail because the the sun’s solar output diminishes, the solar wind slows down, and incoming cosmic radiation gets a lot stronger due to the lowering of the shielding effect of solar radiation. The jet stream changes shape and gets very wavy and unpredictable during a grand solar minimum, allowing cold polar air to sweep down into southern areas and destroy crops. The climate cools down because there is more cloud cover on earth and reduced energy arriving from the sun. Without enough food due to temporary climate change from intermitent abnormally cold weather, people will die. Not only that, but at the end they’ll figure out that their asses are finally being kicked by a force far greater than anything puny humanity can summon up. This time its the natural world or God – if you will – putting an end to human arrogance and popular delusions. We think we are powerful enough to change the climate, we are not. And we won’t in the end be the ones to take out a large portion of our own species. Mother nature will step in and take over the process.

In the meantime, while home heating prices are becoming unaffordable because of “climate change”, we see news like this:

“A federal disaster has been declared for the north country and western New York after the historic lake effect snowstorm.

Federal aid is arriving in the region which will help state and local authorities clean up from the massive storm that dumped more than 6-feet of mid-November snow to the region.

The emergency declaration authorizes the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to coordinate disaster relief in 11 counties buried by the unprecendetd snow.”

We will be doubtless confronted with more situations like the above, with climate alarmists everywhere worrying that the world is roasting yet at the same time they are out digging tunnels in snow over their heads, trying to get out to the street and to their mailboxes. When confronted with obvious cognitive dissonance on the matter, they’ll simply tell you that the hotter the planet gets the more snow they will be shoveling and the more subfreezing temps they will be experiencing.

This is what happens when sizeable portions of the “educated” population go barking mad and lose all common sense.

      • Rulo Deschamps November 22, 2022 at 7:07 pm #

Well said, Woodchuck. Humility is the lesson ahead. Arrogance and god-complex are drowning us in hubris.

J, the R Frost poem is very good. Desire and hatred are the twin teeth of the vise. Can any of us escape the vise? Some can, the enlightened. It’s very hard for us who live in the world to generate the spiritual practice of the enlightened towards setting us free – but we try every day if we’re real men and women, imperfect yet fighting small battles to offset part of the evil in the world, to not bow to fire or to ice.

        • SoftStarLight November 23, 2022 at 12:19 am #

Yes, that is an observation which connects to the same observation we’ve made in different discussions and contexts. That life itself is a perpetual state of war

        • Jarek November 23, 2022 at 3:00 am #

It takes great strength to hate. We need to relearn what natural people know. Who to love and who to hate. Sir Arthur Keith’s Law of Amity and Enmity. The first for your own people, the second for all others.

How else did a tribe of 1500 control a chunk of the Amazon the size of Rhode Island for 500 yeas? Thru ferocity in war, Rulo, thru ferocity in war.

love and hate are the twin teeth of the vise. Desire? We desire to be with what we love and avoid what we hate. To help those whom we love and hurt those whom we hate.

You can’t have love without hate! To rise above even a little – towards equanimity? That is to begin to die to this life and to move towards Life. People like that aren’t meant for politics which be definition means being for your own people. If you aren’t, then you are there under false pretences and you are a blight and a cancer to your people and nation.

It is said that some of the old Vedic Kings attained unto Life without becoming lost in this way, still able to serve their people in this life – which means favoring them against other peoples – even if it seems like a dream to them. The game must go on for others and it has strict rules.

To switch gears: It’s not how much you put in the barn but rather how much you can keep in it against all comers. Pacifists need not apply to a World Made by Hand…..

          • Rulo Deschamps November 23, 2022 at 3:36 pm #

Well Jarek, I agree w several of your points, but the argument would be “who is my people?” We’d disagree on that.

When you talked about the future Buddha beholding with repulsion the scene after the orgy or feast – that’s him understanding the bane of desire. For fame, riches, debauchery, gluttony, etc.

Love needs no desire. Good needs no desire. They manifest without the primer of desire.

You go to great lengths to equivocate about love and hate, but no need: we all know good and evil. It’s what makes us different to animals. Animals can love, but not hate. No hate when they kill.

For someone who studies and (I suppose) admires lord Gautama and Lord Jesus, you seem radically opposed to both those prophets’ spirituality.

You really should worship Thor, Odin and Loki, like other nazis. Just my 2¢, we’ve argued before and it seems pointless to keep at it.

          • Jarek November 23, 2022 at 8:37 pm #

Buddha was a trained warrior. His language of the spiritual life is militant. Instead of conquering another, one must conquer oneself.

But the ascetic should choose to live in an area controlled by a good King. Controlled how? With what? Violence or the threat of it.

What did Christ say? The Kingdom of Heaven suffers itself to be taken by force and the violence bear it away.

            I have defeated you. Questions?

          • Jarek November 23, 2022 at 8:42 pm #

American tourists to Israelis: How can you treat the Palestinians this way? Doesn’t the Torah say to love your neighbor?

            Israelis: They aren’t our neighbors.

Now I have stuck closer to home, have I not? No doubt you’re even less interested now. See how the mind works? You don’t like it when we quote your own people against you, eh?

          • Rulo Deschamps November 23, 2022 at 10:14 pm #

            Hey Jarek,

“I have defeated you.” – OK, chief. Perhaps you have defeated yourself. Perhaps the goal of conversation is not defeating the other, but thinking, building something, a consensus, an understanding.

“You don’t like it when we quote your own people against you, eh?” Who’s “we”? And who’s “my people?” A while back, you went and did a bit of research, came up with some ancestors of the hated group on my genealogy, got the details wrong but sure, there’s some of the forbidden people in my genetic ID.

Maybe some Arabs too, or circus performers, gypsies, whores, renegade priests, stutterers… who knows? Most of us cannot say for sure where we come from, 2 or 3 generations removed. The same applies to you. The stuff of your nightmares: some long forgotten Irish sailor shacked up with a brown beauty and Jarek’s line was born. The horror…

In any case, your Irishness will always be suspect in Aryan circles, and you know it. Not just the Catholicism that we share (one of “my” peoples, along with Argies, Americans, family men, husbands, fathers, farmers, soccer and rugby players, etc), but the fact that you come from a defeated people, thoroughly subjugated by a “superior” race, the English.

So your ancestors were not able to fight the aggressor and win, unlike mine: my grandpa, father’s side, fought and won, the “superior” race lost against him and his “inferior” country in the Balkans in WW2. He was from a long line of non-religious, productive, industrialist Jews, and I’m very proud of him, miss him terribly. He was a great man, a fighter and a doer, who started another factory in Argie after losing what he had in the old country to the nazis, then the commies, raised a family, played chess… in your book, all irrelevant, because he should have been murdered. You’re such a hateful dork.

You don’t strike me as a fighter or a doer. Just someone who’s very awkward around women, a bit creepy, with a schtick of fomenting and promoting hatred and division, derailing the conversation always towards race, an issue that most of us tackle on a case by case basis and don’t obsess over. Regular folk, you know, not keyboard warriors shooting manifestos of hatred deep into the night, every night.

          • Anthea November 24, 2022 at 10:57 am #

            @ Jarek:

I don’t think the Torah says that. Jesus said that.

          • Jarek November 24, 2022 at 1:14 pm #

Rulo: You identify as Jewish, otherwise you wouldn’t have gone to work on a kibbutz. But alas, you aren’t. Jewish dad, Catholic mom. The same tragedy as Bill Maher and countless others. Obviously you want to identify with the winners, but you aren’t one of them. They really should change that – and there is talk of it.

Cats with full bellies kill for pleasure. Not just our little cats, but natural cats in the wild, both big and small.

At the confluence of great rivers, dolphins will kill fresh water purpoises. They’re not competitors and the purpoises are no threat to them. But they like doing it and so they do it.

So you’re wrong. The higher animals have a capacity for evil, but no capacity to recognize it as such and thus stop themselves. So they are innocent.

My people did throw the English out, for all the good that it did them. The enemy was within – the Marxism of Sin Fein. Wrong again, friendo.

No one is more into us against them than your people, though the East Asians may be up there with them. So you can shove your self righteousness.

      Fire and Ice
Some say the world will end in fire,
      Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
      Is also great
      And would suffice.

Jarek: The bottom of hell isn’t hot, but ice cold. Atlantis went its way in water, we shall go ours in fire. And then many of the survivors will freeze to death.

      • SoftStarLight November 23, 2022 at 12:03 am #

And you know if you think about it we really live in a little sliver of space time between the fire and ice in a physical sense and also a spiritual sense. It’s a beautiful poem but also very heavy. There is no escape in a basic sense and one must face the uncontainable elements.

        • Jarek November 23, 2022 at 3:03 am #

There are so many factors that go into our lives on Earth. The cosmic rays would micro-wave us without the ozone. A little bit hotter or colder, and we’d be burnt toast or bio-icicles.

It should make people open to the idea of God if they aren’t already.

          • Slugoon November 23, 2022 at 9:29 am #

I think you have it back to front, Jar. Humans evolved to suit the conditions of the planet, not the other way around. It should be no surprise that we are precisely adapted to our environment. That’s how natural selection works.

Same goes for the anthropic principle.

          • Jarek November 23, 2022 at 12:53 pm #

Ok, I’ll give you that. But your pov (if it is) of mechanical evolution doesn’t add up. There hasn’t been enough time for mechanical evolution to get us to where we are. And mutations or “leaps” are almost always harmful – unless they are being guided by something or One who knows what they are doing.

As David said in the Psalms, We are fearfully and wonderfully made.

          • SoftStarLight November 23, 2022 at 4:03 pm #

Yes, it just doesn’t make sense that such precise complexity could occur from just random circumstances without the influence of a force of organization.

          • Slugoon November 24, 2022 at 12:26 am #

That’s an argument from incredulity, SSL: “it just doesn’t make sense, therefore X must be true…”

I’m actually agnostic, we can’t really know. But saying there hasn’t been enough time for complexity to emerge from simplicity, Jar? Well, what time should it take? There are plenty of experiments that have been done, such as cichlids in a stream, where genetic change has happened in weeks or months.

You are correct, most mutations are harmful and fatal, which is why they are quickly eliminated. It is precisely because of these myriad failed mutations that we see the fine-tuned “improvements” in the organisms that we do. Nature is a filter.

What I find perplexing is that some people are incredulous to the idea of natural selection because of its supposed complexity (it’s actually incredibly simple) yet will readily accept there is a supernatural force that just designed and magicked everything up. That’s quite a mental duality.

          • Jarek November 24, 2022 at 1:32 pm #

Almost all the intermediate stages between being light sensitive and having a functioning eye would not be advantageous and in fact perhaps harmful. Ditto with wings. It would seem your God of Chance must take very big leaps to get where he is going.

You are intellectually honest, thus your agnosticism. But emotionally, you hate the idea of the supernatural. Kudos for maintaining your stand against that. Most can’t/won’t.

Unspeakably strange of course, as we are to you.

          • Slugoon November 24, 2022 at 5:26 pm #

Richard Dawkins makes the case for both of those adaptions far better than I can in Climbing Mount Improbable. I don’t like his militant atheism but there’s no denying he’s one of the world’s most eminent zoologists. For me there is far more beauty and wonder in the natural theory of things rather than “(a) God did it”.

Why Evolution from the Primates Is Unlikely – John Young

Humans could not possibly have evolved from primates … without substantial intervention.

            The problem is chromosome 2.

Primates have 24 diploid pairs of chromosomes. Humans have 23, with our 2nd chromosome being a combination of two chromosomes that are separate in primates.

A creature with 23 chromosomes can’t create viable offspring capable of reproducing itself with another creature that has 24. For it to make offspring, it has to mate with something that also has 23. (And where the various loci for the genes on those chromosomes line up pretty closely.)

Okay — to avoid inbreeding depression of a population of a human type, you need at least 98 people. But this number is under absolutely perfect conditions where people can’t choose their own mates and instead a geneticist tells them: “Hey you! You can only have sex with THIS one over here.” Under less controlled circumstances, you’d need at least 500.

Now go back to chromosome 2. That’s a seriously odd mutation. Dig into chromosome 2, you’ll find it has suppressed centromeres (without which humans would be non-viable) from combining the two chromosomes. They are arranged perfectly to work.

Suppose some random mutation like this happened to one primate. That one would die with no offspring because all the other primates around it have 24 chromosomes. In order for this mutation to survive without inbreeding depression under relatively random breeding …

this *exact same mutation, done in the exact same way* would have to affect 500 individuals — ALL in the same area, ALL close enough in age to be reasonably breeding with each other.

Such a mutation is insanely rare to start with. In fact, I’ve never even heard of such a thing. Now take something that rare, probably 1 in a billion odds, and then after that, 1 in a million that it would create something that could live — and then have that happen 500 times in close geographic and time proximity with all the genes in individuals with that type of strange combined chromosome mutation miraculously lining up.

That’s as close to “impossible” as you are going to find.

However, a very good genetic engineer with an impressive budget could do it.

Jarek: A bunch of monkeys could bang out Shakespeare – if they had infinite time. But no universe has infinite time. We’ll get about 15 billion years, apparently. Four already gone. “Infinite” is just another word for God.

What are the chances of us coming from the apes given the above? Similar to the monkeys and Shakespeare. It didn’t happen that way.

          • Slugoon November 25, 2022 at 7:50 am #

Plenty of opposing views. One such:

What happened with the ape to human chromosome “loss” is not a loss of genes, but simply a fusion of two chromosomes with no important genetic material lost. This Robertsonian fusion is less common as a mutation, but also less deleterious. Two short chromosomes wind up attached to each other (due to mistakes in crossing over), so that an individual now has 2N= 47 chromosomes. But all the genes are there. The animal is fully functional and develops normally, but there will be some fertility loss at meiosis later in life. The new larger chromosome still pairs with the two old chromosomes during meiosis, but when anaphase separates them, the daughter cells will often have duplications or deficiencies. However, many daughter cells will be just fine.

In a large population the new chromosomal state will lead to enough fertility loss that the original state will outcompete it. In a small population, by chance or by “hitch-hiking” along with a favorable allele, the new chromosomal condition can spread enough to be the majority state. Then the old state is at a fertility disadvantage. For a while there will be fully functional individuals with 2N = 48, 2N = 46 and 2N=47. Only the 2N=47 individuals will have meiotic problems.

The human lineage surely went through at least one and probably more population bottlenecks. We infer this since we have so little genetic variability compared to other primates. The transition from 48 to 46 chromosomes took place during one of these bottlenecks.

“the claims that only 5000 Russian personnel have died in the Ukraine War is just plainly stupid for a great many reasons (which I have gone into detail about in previous posts), but has not been repudiated here, as far as I can tell solely to support narratives favourable to supporters of Russian involvement in Ukraine. ”

    — Hustled Enough

Well , if it makes you feel any better ,

As I have said before , I have supported the Russian military pretty much my entire life ,

But , yes , 5000 sounds suspiciously , ludicrously low to me.

UNLESS , MAYBE , the two sides are not as evenly matched as claimed ?

For example , the famous Vietnam War names memorial is to me annoyingly, misleadingly infamous.

In your TYPICAL Vietnam engagement the Viets would lose 300 , and the U.S. would lose 3.

That wall makes the U.S. casualties look far more impressive than they actually were.

The loss of that war had scarce anything to do with the casualties.

    The one , true , major war the United States had , the American Civil War ;

North or South they would have considered those sorts of casualties to be good news.

One reason I don’t care for war numbers like that , In general , is precisely the overwhelming emphasis on dead and wounded.

In a world where two – thirds of all wealth is in some way inherited , no less so than 500 years ago ,

    Where , ” money makes the world go ’round ” , and , ” money talks ”

There seems to be very little emphasis on how many people are financially ruined by war.

But then I see the same thing in criminal justice.

It’s like everyone blithely assumes that where the use of force is involved , it is all free lunch and gold dropping out of the sky.

And I don’t mean ; The war cost government x – y amount of money.

I mean the parents , siblings , spouses , and children robbed of potential income or potential social safety net who , because they were on the losing side for example , won’t even receive survivor benefits.

Or the homes , farms , small businesses that took ten , twenty , fifty years of blood , sweat , and tears to build , destroyed in an artillery barrage or a straffing run in all of 20 minutes.

Half or more of the world may call themselves Capitalists , but when it comes to the use of force , a full 90% sure seem to think like Communists.

So , yeah , as cold and callous as I may sound , casualty figures don’t do much for me as a rule anyway .

    There again I suspect it’s a weird variation of bread and circuses ;

Get folks to focus on this really stark and morbid shit , so hopefully they won’t pay attention to this other Titanic – sized , but boring and prosaic , really bad shit.

    • Paula D November 22, 2022 at 1:59 pm #

I think that the numbers are creative accounting.

The Russians are not counting the Donbass militias who are doing most of the street fighting nor the Wagner group as official Russian military deaths.

The US will also not count the Donbass militias, because that would interfere with their propaganda narrative: “Russia vs Ukraine”.

If they admitted that it was actually Ukraine vs Ukraine, with Russia providing backup support and artillery help to the eastern Ukrainians (now Russian citizens), some idiots (not hustler, he can’t be reached) might have their eyes opened.
      That cannot be allowed.

Re vietnam, who can forget the infamous “body count”?

      Seems like quite a few . . .

In the end it didn’t mean jack s—.

Of course the USA never had clear military aims in Vietnam. The domino theory excuse was a joke. If there ever was a reason, it was soon forgotten, especially after Dallas. Perhaps the point of it became to funnel $$$ to Johnson’s pals at Kellogg Brown&Root. .

Russia does have clear military aims. Not engraved in stone how the aims are to be accomplished, but basically:

secure the Donbass and the safety of Russian speakers there.

In this case, the body count may be relevant.

that’s not at all a popular method in the modern world .

Dr. David Martin suggests that people will always find a medium of exchange so that they can conduct trade. From barter on up and down.

He suggests that people should be giving seroius thought to this. The self-described Neo-Luddite Kirkpatrick Sale (author of Rebels Against the Future) was a strong advocate for the importance of scrip and I think he got a system going in Vermont . . .??

Oh, yes, the Vermont Republic. Look it up in Wiki.

Actually, Sale is a true founding father of the anti-globalist and techno-skeptic view.

“Kirkpatrick Sale (born June 27, 1937) is an American author who has written prolifically about political decentralism, environmentalism, luddism and technology. He has been described as having a “philosophy unified by decentralism”[1] and as being “a leader of the Neo-Luddites,”[2] an “anti-globalization leftist,”[3] and “the theoretician for a new secessionist movement.”[4]

    Ya know,

Freedom, Liberty and all the buzzwords apply to everyone,

Including the crooks, especially the crooks.

That is why the crooks work hard at getting here, to get power here, it has been that way since this nation was created.

A very steady and effective program of eliminating regular economic avenues such as manufacturing and the consequent invasion of the Mobs has been a primary objective of the Deep State. We elect them, it takes one election cycle for the Mob to corrupt them.

Shoot, clear back in the early twentieth, Frank Capra and Jimmy Stewart showed the effects of the early mob on DC. They are so much better at it now. By the way, the white haired Senator who went moral in the movie does not exist today. They are all crooks, have done illicit things and are now trapped by their own deeds.

Civilization is the censoring of the right things. If you can’t tell which are the right things to censor, well you’ve already well down the road to extinction.

Freedom is for free men, not slaves of sin and vice. Error has no rights.

Freedom is for free men, not slaves of sin and vice.

        Yup! Well said.

That is why government is not the answer to any of society’s problems.

Government amplifies the evil that emanates from people, especially power motivated people. Competition within government is the amplifier. Power begets power ad infinitum.

Freedom is for free men, the antithesis of government, and the socialism that the power mongers seek.

There is no good government, no good socialism in a free society. That is why it always fails. And why the US is failing right now.

    Moral bioenhancement pills, anyone?

Lest you think the morality at issue is getting people not to beat their wife, steal from the supermarket or suchlike, er, no, it’s the kind of morality that makes you take your ‘vaccination’ and wear a mask, like the good people.

And it seems that bioethicists think that it would be more freedom loving to covertly put something in the water to make you compliant than to announce it with a loud hailer (and yes, all this comes to you with a very strong connection to the WEF).

As a commenter points out ‘bioethics is to ethics what military intelligence is to intelligence’. Perhaps to become a bioethicist you have to score highly on the psychopathy scale, in alignment with truth as misinformation, facts as conspiracy theories etc.

“New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has partnered with Bill Gates to surreptitiously rollout digital IDs across the country. The country’s Managed Isolation and Quarantine (MIQ) government program that during the pandemic operated by keeping records manually is now switching to JNCTN-produced software tools that will serve as digital ID verification for the MIQ staff.”

Thanks, GA. And thanks for the copy and paste tip…too old I suppose.

Okay, I read the article. It was essentially about an internal staff management system, I think, dumping paper-based records for electronic systems, using an “off the shelf” software system.

But MIQ was shut down in March this year when the borders re-opened, so could it be that this article has mis-read the situation?

          • GreenAlba November 23, 2022 at 9:02 pm #

I don’t know, CS. I don’t trust goverment declarations that things have been shut down. On this side of the pond, Sajiv Javid told the English public in Jan. 22 that vaxx passes were being cancelled. In February he made a speech (not in public, but the transcript is on the UK government website – where nobody looks) that the public had to realise the covid pass was for life and not just for covid.

In June/July, Parliament quizzed him on the fact that a person was being taken on as a director of the covid pass, when it had been cancelled. Javid said he couldn’t envisage any circumstances in which the covid pass would be resurrected (having told said audience in Feb. that it was for life), but claimed that it was nevertheless to carry on with the recruitment of the covid pass manager. None of this makes any sense – they just lie egregiously and they get away with it.

You can be sure that if Ardern is bringing in digital ID for one sector now, it will be eventually be for everyone. It’s happening everywhere, in different ways and at different rates.

    Affective Musical Key Characteristics
The association of musical keys with specific emotional or qualitative characteristic was fairly common prior to the 20th century. It was part of the shared cultural experience of those who made, performed and listened to music. When Mozart or Beethoven or Schubert wrote a piece in a Ab major, for example, they were well aware of this was the ‘key of the grave’ and knew that many in their audiences were as well. We lose a part of the meaning of their music if we are ignorant of their affective choices. Although these characteristics were, of course, subjective, it was possible to conceive of each key as unique because each key actually sounded distinct within unequal temperaments. When equal temperament became the dominant tuning after 1917, the aural quality of every key became the same, and therefore these affective characteristics are mostly lost to us. (See Piano’s Ivory Cage) One of the most influential descriptions of characteristics shared in German-speaking cultures in the late 18th and early 19th century was from from Christian Schubart’s Ideen zu einer Aesthetik der Tonkunst (1806):

    C Major
Completely Pure. Its character is: innocence, simplicity, naïvety, children’s talk.

    C Minor
Declaration of love and at the same time the lament of unhappy love. All languishing, longing, sighing of the love-sick soul lies in this key.

    D? Major
A leering key, degenerating into grief and rapture. It cannot laugh, but it can smile; it cannot howl, but it can at least grimace its crying.–Consequently only unusual characters and feelings can be brought out in this key.

    C# Minor
Penitential lamentation, intimate conversation with God, the friend and help-meet of life; sighs of disappointed friendship and love lie in its radius.

    D Major
The key of triumph, of Hallejuahs, of war-cries, of victory-rejoicing. Thus, the inviting symphonies, the marches, holiday songs and heaven-rejoicing choruses are set in this key.

    D Minor
Melancholy womanliness, the spleen and humours brood.

    E? Major
The key of love, of devotion, of intimate conversation with God.

    D# Minor
Feelings of the anxiety of the soul’s deepest distress, of brooding despair, of blackest depresssion, of the most gloomy condition of the soul. Every fear, every hesitation of the shuddering heart, breathes out of horrible D# minor. If ghosts could speak, their speech would approximate this key.

    E Major
Noisy shouts of joy, laughing pleasure and not yet complete, full delight lies in E Major.

    E minor
Naïve, womanly innocent declaration of love, lament without grumbling; sighs accompanied by few tears; this key speaks of the imminent hope of resolving in the pure happiness of C major.
    F Major
    Complaisance & Calm.

    F Minor
Deep depression, funereal lament, groans of misery and longing for the grave.

    F# Major
Triumph over difficulty, free sigh of relief utered when hurdles are surmounted; echo of a soul which has fiercely struggled and finally conquered lies in all uses of this key.

    F# Minor
A gloomy key: it tugs at passion as a dog biting a dress. Resentment and discontent are its language.

    G Major
Everything rustic, idyllic and lyrical, every calm and satisfied passion, every tender gratitude for true friendship and faithful love,–in a word every gentle and peaceful emotion of the heart is correctly expressed by this key.

    G Minor
Discontent, uneasiness, worry about a failed scheme; bad-tempered gnashing of teeth; in a word: resentment and dislike.

    A? Major
Key of the grave. Death, grave, putrefaction, judgment, eternity lie in its radius.

    A? Minor
Grumbler, heart squeezed until it suffocates; wailing lament, difficult struggle; in a word, the color of this key is everything struggling with difficulty.

    A Major
This key includes declarations of innocent love, satisfaction with one’s state of affairs; hope of seeing one’s beloved again when parting; youthful cheerfulness and trust in God.

    A minor
Pious womanliness and tenderness of character.

    B? Major
Cheerful love, clear conscience, hope aspiration for a better world.

    B? minor
A quaint creature, often dressed in the garment of night. It is somewhat surly and very seldom takes on a pleasant countenance. Mocking God and the world; discontented with itself and with everything; preparation for suicide sounds in this key.

    B Major
Strongly coloured, announcing wild passions, composed from the most glaring coulors. Anger, rage, jealousy, fury, despair and every burden of the heart lies in its sphere.

    B Minor
This is as it were the key of patience, of calm awaiting ones’s fate and of submission to divine dispensation.

Translated by Rita Steblin in A History of Key Characteristics in the 18th and Early 19th Centuries. UMI Research Press (1983).

Jarek: What is your favorite key? And does it accord with keynote of your life?

Obviously as a National Socialist, I love D Major, and as a Christian, A Major.

Wish I could remember what all those keys sound like. I yoosed (Q.) to play Trumpet in high school, so I’ve been watching some trumpet videos on YouTube of late. A relatively new guy – Wayne Bergeron – is pretty damn good, but for my money Doc Severinsen is still the best I’ve ever heard. Not only can he play with infinite presence and clarity in the upper registers up above C4 all day long, but he can employ all the tricks of the trade – lip trills, double and triple tonguing, note slides and slurs, and extended hold at the end of phrases – up there in rarified air too. His lungs had to have have been enormous. To listen to a trumpet player of similar talent live is an opportunity that no should ever miss. They can literally fill a room with their volume, and by volume I don’t just mean decibel level. They have a tone and a presence that fills the room in all registers and decibel levels.

What did I learn from that? Nothing about the majors or the minors, that’s for sure.

I learned only to hate scales, which is why I hate freeform jazz, which sounds to me like scale playing to a drum beat.

Yuk. Get it away from me.

Scales and arpeggios for aspiring trumpet virtuosos. Tough stuff, but it makes you good. I gave up on it at about the time that I first realized that was just scratching the surface. Wish I’d have pursued it now, but that’s how it goes. But I don’t think I had the lung capacity or musicality to be really top notch.

        • Night Owl November 23, 2022 at 5:43 am #

You should have kept at it. Virtuosity is no guarantee that you can write a nice piece of music.

I play guitar and some of the players considered virtuosos in our world make my ears bleed, while some players who barely scratched the surface where theory goes have made some of the most memorable songs in the world.

I remember once that we tried out a keyboard player who could play Bach, etc., but could not come up with a simple accompaniment to a 4-chord acoustic guitar part.

I am mostly a rock guy. I like a lot of classic rock, Zeppelin, Boston, etc., hard rock and metal from the 80s, a lot of Brit pop and postpunk from the 80s and 90s, and a lot of indie rock from the 90s.

I also like classical music, but am not deep enough in to suggest anything you probably have not already heard.

As for stuff that makes my ears bleed: most jazz, Satriani, Vai, Malmsteen, and pretty much any rock virtuoso that had a solo career consisting of instrumentals.

Virtuosity is no guarantee that you can write a nice piece of music.

So true. I got all pumped up by the praise I got at the time and the idea that it had to be all or nothing to make a living at it. Two hours a day practice doing range drills religiously at age 16, the whole bit. And I knew that I wasn’t that good, no matter how much my instructors pinned their misguided hopes on me. Had I to do it over again I’d have put the brakes on and pursued it on my own at a much more leisurely pace and focused much less on technique and more on musicality and variety. There was another kid in band who sat first chair my sophomore year who pursued it that way and he had it all over me in phrasing and overall musicality. Just a really pretty player.

      I relate to

      D minor

A minor is so out of fashion. It is wonderful that you accept it as part of your being.

B minor is crucial since in the end our world is going to crash, at the very least our personal one. People are afraid of “dying alone”. At the very end, we may not be able recognize those around bedside. We will be alone and must just wait on Him to lift us up and out of that failing body.

That’s true. I never really thought about it that way before. But I guess it is also sort of like when they say that someone can be in the midst of a crowd and feel lonely.

From Tucker: The Colorado Springs shooter held his mother hostage last year, threatening to blow up the house. No charges were brought and his record was sealed so he could buy guns. Interesting, eh? Did they work more with this fine young man or did they leave it to fate. If they have enough of them, perhaps they don’t even need to do more, but rather just draw a line around the best stories and make a big deal of them in the media.

    • benr November 23, 2022 at 10:22 am #

No they pumped him full of SSRI’s and watched him break then pointed him where they wanted him to go.

The next question is who are they?

There is alwaya a they involved with this stuff.
They always admit the psychotic fool was on their radar but somehow slipped away or they swoop in when they deliver a faux explosive, or some whacked out plan.
They look for patsies and fools then use them to move political goals.
They are the alphabet feds who also just look at the meta data on your cell phone and store it in a datacenter in Utah so large that the cooling supply has critically affected the ground water in the area.

We sort of know who they are, and they most certainly know who we are.

We are mostly harmless cranks but they still keep tabs on we.

There was a discussion upthread re Ivermectin. My 7 year old granddaughter came home a couple of months ago from her upscale school with lice. My daughter did not want to go the chemical route so she spent $400 to have some nanny/mammy come out and do an olive oil nit comb-through treatment which had to be repeated two more times at home. BTW the school won’t make the whole class get treated because it might shame some minority groups.

The other day she comes home with lice again and the nurse advises her to get an rx from the pediatrician for ivermectin treatment.. Turns out that during the pandemic some aspects of ivermectin were approved for over the counter use so instead of a prescription for $250 it’s now $40 at CVS. Takes 10 minutes no retreatment necessary. Amazing that the CDD continues its BS that i9vermectin is only for horse dewormer.

Zero Hedge has an interesting article called The Truth About Ivermectin (not putting a link because my comment always seems to disappear).

    • JohnAZ November 23, 2022 at 12:17 am #

I would like to add a strawman pro Ivermectin.

Part of this comes from recent experience with Covid.

Covid enters via mouth, nose, eyes some say ears. Okay.

How does the body get rid of it? What does it do while running around inside us? Little data has been generated on either subject, hence this is a strawman only.

IMHO, viruses are eliminated by the body through anything that exits the body. Runny noses, coughs, sneezes exit viruses in the respiratory tract.

Pustules, rashes push viruses through the skin.

One interesting note last week said some work may be showing that long term Covid, the inability to shed the virus, may be because it is hiding, probably in the GI tract. As the GI tract has recently been IDed as an organ of the immune system, hmmm? Another note indicates that people who get observable GI involvement such as nausea or diarrhea have their disease last a few days longer.

      So, here goes.

Something that tends to “clean out “ the GI tract might have a very positive effect on the shedding of the virus through the large intestine, perhaps speeding up the process considerably.

One more, if someone with a nasal swab test tests positive then negative for the crud, yet still has diarrhea and GI upset, could they still be carrying the virus? Could the CDC guidelines of 5 and 10 days with oral nasal infection be covering only a part of the infections.

I hope real work is done with Ivermectin with further investigation of the GI tract as a reservoir for infections of many types.

      • JohnAZ November 23, 2022 at 12:19 am #

Yeah, the subject with the negative nasal test with continuing GI symptoms is me.

      • GreenAlba November 23, 2022 at 6:40 am #

“Covid enters via mouth, nose, eyes some say ears.”

Peter McCullough and others advised the simple tactic of spraying saline solution into the nose immediately you have symptoms. Stop it at the door kind of thing.

        • MaryQueen November 23, 2022 at 11:31 am #

I get a kick out of people saying that the key symptom of Covid is losing your sense of taste.

I have a memory, and so I recall having the flu many times as a youth, or colds, and what annoyed me most was not being able to taste or smell.

That always happens – lol. But now it’s unique to covid. Because having covid’s so special!

    • Anthea November 23, 2022 at 10:27 pm #

      @ farmgal:

If Ivermectin gets rid of head lice, that is indeed cause for rejoicing!

Re the shaming of “certain minorities,” I’ve always been told that blacks don’t get head lice.

The dude that is paid by the keystroke to post western propaganda here is clearly out of tune with reality, but claiming that Americans need to have him step up and lay out the party line, because all we get is pro-Russian propaganda, shows a new depth of psychosis (defined as “Psychosis is an abnormal condition of the mind that results in difficulties determining what is real and what is not real. Symptoms may include delusions and hallucinations, among other features. Additional symptoms are incoherent speech and behavior that is inappropriate for a given situation.”)

Transvestites everywhere should be appalled. Maybe this deer received some kind of federally funded conversion therapy as a fawn?

“Virginia Bowhunter Downs Rare Antlered Doe with Impressive 8-Point Rack”

Earl Phillips was bowhunting his property in Clifton, Virginia when he arrowed an extremely unusual deer—an antlered doe with a fully-formed 8-point rack. When Phillips first saw the deer, he thought it was a whitetail deer buck.

“I’d been seeing the deer on my trail camera for about three weeks,” Phillips tells F&S. On Sunday, November 20, he decided to hunt in the afternoon after a cold front rolled in. “I got in at about 2 p.m. I heard a little rustling, and I saw one buck come he was being pushed away. Then I saw the bigger buck come. He came within 20 yards of me. I double-lung shot him, and tracked him for maybe 30 yards.”

Shortly after Phillips walked up to the “big buck,” he realized something was amiss. The deer had a fully-formed rack—and female external reproductive organs. “I immediately knew I needed to call somebody,” says Phillips. “I’ve heard stories and done a little bit of research on antlered does. I knew this was definitely a rare harvest. It would’ve been my best buck to date, and I’m a pretty avid hunter.”

Is It a True Antlered Doe? Phillips (pictured) thought the deer was a buck when he first spotted it.

Phillips called a federal biologist at Fort Belvoir, who told Phillips the deer did in fact appear to be a doe—and that it may even have been in heat. F&S reached out to the National Deer Association (NDA) for more info about antlered deer. Without being able to examine its internal reproductive organs, the conservation group was unable to definitely say whether the deer was a true antlered doe or a hermaphroditic deer.

“A true doe with antlers that has functioning doe reproductive organs and can actually produce fawns, but also has antlers would be extremely rare,” says Lindsay Thomas, NDA Chief Communications Officer. “More commonly what you see in cases like this is hermaphrodites, which have some mix of both male and female reproductive organs, but none really functional, or cryptorchid bucks…The fact this deer has hard antlers is unusual. If it is a functional doe with functional antlers, it would be the rarest of all the ‘intersex’ conditions seen in deer.”

Phillips says the deer weighed 190 pounds. “I’m a meat hunter. This is the first deer I’ve actually wanted to go after because of the unique antlers, as well as its size. Even not knowing it was a doe, it was a solid 8-pointer. This is the first deer I’m going to get mounted.”

“I deal with PTSD. A lot of times, I’m just in the woods for mental clarity and have time to sit and think,” he adds. “For me, harvesting this deer was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I just want to share it with as many people as possible.”

Maybe the guy has PTSD from constantly murdering beautiful animals in cold blood.

“Cultural pessimism and cynicism constituting the very dark heart of the now overtly Satanic Democratic Party.” – OVERHEARD.

    • BackRowHeckler November 23, 2022 at 4:41 am #

Sounds like a line from Joseph Conrad.

      • Amman November 23, 2022 at 6:07 am #

It the Larouche PAC in DC.

        Conrad’s style was…. Meditative? Reflective?

What he saw, did, and felt in the Congo are largely recorded in “Heart of Darkness,” his most famous, finest, and most enigmatic story, the title of which signifies not only the heart of Africa, the dark continent, but also the heart of evil—everything that is corrupt, nihilistic, malign—and perhaps the heart of man. The story is central to Conrad’s work and vision, and it is difficult not to think of his Congo experiences as traumatic. He may have exaggerated when he said, “Before the Congo I was a mere animal,” but in a real sense the dying Kurtz’s cry, “The horror! The horror!” was Conrad’s. He suffered psychological, spiritual, even metaphysical shock in the Congo, and his physical health was also damaged; for the rest of his life, he was racked by recurrent fever and gout.

        • BackRowHeckler November 23, 2022 at 11:28 am #

          Interesting comments on Conrad, Amman.

Another profound European writer in Central Africa — a few decades later — was Louis Ferdinand Celine, Dr. Destouches.

I recently picked up a copy of ‘King Leopold’s Ghost’ at, of all places, the local Goodwill ($1.00). The book gave me a deeper understanding of Conrad & his ‘The Heart of Darkness.’

          • Paddys Lament November 23, 2022 at 2:08 pm #

Good choice BRH. Hochschild’s book is an excellent treatise on that chapter of history. And to think, it took a shipping clerk named E.D Morel with a sleuth’s eye, of all people, to piece together the sordid doings going on and bring it to the public’s attention.
