One might ask: why is it so easy to put over narratives on at least half the people in this country? Here’s the answer: because we are living in a time when nothing adds up and there are no consequences — but especially no consequences for the folks in charge of things that don’t add up.

For instance, the January 6 riot at the US Capitol building. The Deep State axis of interests — politicians, permanent bureaucrats, Beltway contractors, K-Street influencers, shady international NGOs, and most of the news media — needed something that would overrule objections to certifying the election. They got what they needed in just the right place for it to happen, the very house of Congress. The objection procedure was neatly sabotaged.

The riot launched Donald Trump back into civilian life under a cloud of odium, labeled an “insurrectionist.” It enabled the Democrats to paint their opponents as “domestic terrorists” and manufacture a narrative that America was under attack by “white supremacists.” Troops occupying the center of Washington since Joe Biden’s inauguration are there to reinforce the story that the government is “under siege.”  The tech companies de-platform anyone who writes about or speaks of “election fraud.” Next, the new regime cooks up legislation to intensify surveillance of US citizens. Worked out perfectly for the Party of Orwell.

Have we gotten a satisfactory accounting of exactly who led the incursion inside the building? I don’t think so, though after three weeks you’d think the FBI could have ID’d many of the characters captured on thousands of videos posted online. Everybody knows the guy in the horned helmet now, one Jacob Chansley (a.k.a Jake Angeli), but he was a very conspicuous street agitator in Phoenix, AZ, well-known to the FBI before January 6, and there’s reason to believe he has been playing more than one side in this game. The DC federal attorney, Michael Sherwin, says they have a list of 400 suspects. Any hints about their actual affiliations? Of course not. By the way, the authorities still haven’t identified the Capitol Police officer who shot Ashli Babbitt dead. Is it a state secret, or what?

Any chance that Antifa or BLM were involved on the scene that day? How is it possible that they would forego the opportunity to mix in with the MAGA crowd and make some trouble happen on Capitol Hill? What could have been easier, or more obvious? All they had to do was put on a red hat. One we know for sure is John Sullivan, the founder of Insurgence USA, a BLM spinoff, but mainly because he also happened to be an attention-whore who went on CNN afterward where Anderson Cooper introduced him to the nation as “a left-wing activist.”  Was he the only left-wing activist on duty at the Capitol that day? Somehow, I doubt it.

The New York Times, mouthpiece of Wokery, is working triple overtime to sell the narrative of white supremacists on the loose. Anyone to the right of Woke is now an enemy of the state. Last time I looked, it was Antifa and BLM tearing up the streets, setting federal courthouses and police stations on fire, looting stores, destroying businesses, and injuring policemen — in the case of Portland, OR, and Seattle, WA, all summer long. Democrats somehow omitted to label them as any kind of threat to the public interest. Vice-president Kamala Harris (then-senator), led a campaign to raise bail money for Antifas and BLMs arrested during last year’s riots. Woke District Attorneys dropped charges against hundreds of them. Governors and mayors sat on their hands. There were no consequences for any of that.

If anything, the political right-wing of the USA has shown miraculous self-restraint through four years of FBI / DOJ / CIA sedition, tech company tyranny, impeachment chicanery, and the rage-fueled calumnies of Pelosi and Company, all aggravated by questionable Covid-19 lockdowns, and climaxing in a fraud-inflected election that has not been subject to any adequate judicial audit.

How much of the current artificial hysteria these first weeks of the “Biden” regime is designed to divert attention from the question of who is actually running Joe Biden? My guess would be Barack Obama via Susan Rice, Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council and formerly Mr. Obama’s National Security Advisor. I would suppose that Ms. Rice is on the phone with Mr. Obama bright and early every morning, and for more than casual conversation. She is surely plugged into the rest of the Obama network, too, in effect a shadow government, which may explain the seeming flimsiness of the crew assembled around Joe Biden. Seems to work for now. But how many weeks will go by before the whole country realizes that Mr. Biden is not actually functioning as president?

Right! It is all nicely tied together, isn’t it? And, so far, the system is wildly successful. However, there is such a thing as backlash and the new regime is stepping on some toes. But it may be too late for a backlash. The forces of social control are massive these days and they all seem to be on the side of the power elites.

    • Pete January 29, 2021 at 10:40 am #

The left has been wildly successful in their machinations. They literally pulled it off. Years of planning and actively gaining control at the township level has paid off for them.

Those of us who are “right of woke” have been pre-emptively neutralized, by the insurrectionist, racist and terrorist labels applied for that purpose.

Our “right of woke” congressional delegation has been neutralized by their own normalcy bias, demonstrated by their belief they must work with the actual usurpers, in some way, biding their time before they can vote the communists away.

But for all the fouls being committed, we have to accept that the left has thrown us overboard. When they call us terrorists, they are not making bluster. We are a threat to their agenda. We want them gone, as much as we want them gone. They do not consider us citizens in their ‘democracy.’ They have seceded from the ‘republic’ and they are in control.

If we ALL weren’t actually circling the drain, there might be something worth fighting for. For now, adapt in order to survive. The tools employed by the left to effect their coup were doomsday tools. Once unleashed they don’t stop. The democrat regime sowed the seeds of their own undoing in BLM and Antifa expressing their identity grievances. They will ultimately cannibalize themselves and deliver the United States over to the Globalists.

I would not want to be a cop these days.

The body of 2020 Presidential Election discrepancies and illicit activities, including off-shore electronic manipulations, must be preserved, complete & in several locations.

One or more of the US Military training academies comes to mind, inasmuch as the selection of United States military Commanders-In-Chief gives 2020 Presidential Election material dealing with extraordinary anomalies standing for preservation in a/the US Forces academies’ library archives.

General Michael Flynn may be liaison person for arranging these placements, assuring secure chain of custody and formal arrangements to guarantee material preservation and integrity of ALL pertinent materials,” paper & electronic.

Putting this intact collection into the category of military history in context of US Commanders-In-Chief selection history is an important requirement for assuring integrity of the separate yet symbiotic Civilian/Military ethic in American Constitutional governance.

Most certainly the respective military services merit an honest selection process for their CIC.

“The body of 2020 Presidential Election discrepancies and illicit activities, including off-shore electronic manipulations, must be preserved, complete & in several locations.”

Who is going to do all this collecting, selecting, protecting, copying and storing? Michael Flynn is retired and has no authority at all in terms of anything military, and I expect the Biden Administration would not appoint him.

Each state stores the material and results of its elections.

      • MaryV January 29, 2021 at 1:53 pm #

Two cops have been ‘suicided’ because they were unfortunate enough to be on the scene at the capitol so-called ‘riot’ (I call it a false flag). And a third was killed on-site, hit with a fire extinguisher. You’re right: It is not a good time to be a cop.

        • Bytes January 29, 2021 at 8:05 pm #

And, of course, AOC blamed Ted Cruz et al for the cop suicides. The lies and hypocrisy are incredible.

  2. hmuller January 29, 2021 at 10:07 am #

I completely agree, Jim. The lies, hypocrisy, distortions, censorship, and oppression deepen every day. Those who rule us should be imprisoned as traitors against the American people and the Constitution..

“Next, the new regime cooks up legislation to intensify surveillance of US citizens. Worked out perfectly for the Party of Orwell.

The problem with both Huxley and Orwell is that humans have already totally submitted to the civilisation since WW I – Huxleinism and Orwellianisim have turned the civilisation playing chess with itself pretending it is a fair game, and demands the commons to applause hard, and shout loud with every move it makes.

The civlisation cannot overkill an already dead body another one thousand time – it is a waste of Energy – humans have already and totally submitted.

Humans and their civilisation are worried today this has to come to an end, one day.

  3. Disaffected January 29, 2021 at 10:07 am #

Excellent! A whole lot of conjecture this morning, to be sure, but all of it entirely plausible, if not downright likely, as well. You’re barking up the right tree here, Mr. K!

    • oroyrodajes January 29, 2021 at 12:14 pm #

Yes, he is barking up the right tree. An ominous dictatorship is plausible now.

The Left has gone All Inn, having pushed all of their chips into the pot since November (with the plot long in making). This is all very scary. Perhaps the only consolation would be the general .gov incompetence. But, dictators learn by doing.

      * * *

The other thing that’s scary for me is observing the rather severe wobbles lately in our financial markets:

      — r/wallstreetbets kicked off an interesting round of attacks on hedge funds (short squeezing GME), which may lead to various problems in the liquidity/financial infrastructure. That would be BAD. Yet, the grossly-leveraged hedge funds are primarily responsible for this…

      — Remember last May, when the price of WTIC was at minus $37.00 per barrel? Eek.

      — Negative interest rates turn everything upside down in the financial world (eg, you WANT to pay your bills faster). NIRP is still ill-understood among the public.

      — Deflation also causes unexpected topsy-turvy-ness, also not well understood.

Do the wankers in the Xiden Administration care about any of the above? Do they even understand?

      • MaryV January 29, 2021 at 1:56 pm #

Not yet they don’t. But I find it sorta odd that my coworkers, all liberal blue-no-matter-who’s, who were SOOOOO happy that pedo Joe “won”, don’t seem so satisfied. It’s strange. Not one of them have expressed how glad they are that Biden is in office. Maybe it’s because he attacked TItle IX on Day 1? (I work in higher ed; Title IX is a big deal). I think the buyer’s remorse has been creeping in for awhile….

        • Night Owl January 29, 2021 at 5:15 pm #

It is most interesting. The hate has only intensified.

          • MaryV January 29, 2021 at 6:37 pm #

Indeed. Today the 2-minutes-hate is for Marjorie Greene, a ‘rebel’ patriot GOP rep who said some eccentric stuff.

They are frothing at the mouth on Twitter. These people are literally psychologically unhinged.

          • Wizard of the Saddle January 31, 2021 at 11:45 am #

The Marjorie Greene brouhaha is an orchestrated hit. Ms. Greene is a Ruby-Red MAGA supporter and she has been the focus of liberal outrage since she launched her bid for office.

Winning her seat in Congress only heightened the “outrage” from the oh-so-easily triggered wokesters.

The object of the present hate campaign against her is no different than the one waged against Trump for the past 5 years: A Purge.

Just as Trump has been purged from public office, by hook or by crook, so must Ms. Greene be purged, and all others who are to the right of Vladimir Lenin.

A secondary purpose is to make EXAMPLES of MAGA leaders and of their supporters. One does not even have to wear a MAGA hat or say anything supportive of the Donald and his movement. Guilt by association is good enough, as in the case of the poor woman featured on Tucker Carlson’s show earlier this week who was fired from her job at a literary media company this week. Her crime? She had the apps Parler and Gab installed on her smartphone. No bill.

So, to the unemployment line with her!

If this keeps up, in a couple of years it’ll be to PRISON with her.

In a decade it may mean DEATH to offend the new woke regime.

The time to push back against all of this is now. Stop waiting for a “champion” to appear to lead us all to our salvation. That is just cowardice. Cowards end up in gulags and death camps.

        • Rain Waters January 30, 2021 at 12:32 pm #

One hella description of a crock of ?

        • Redneck Liberal January 31, 2021 at 8:16 pm #

Maybe it’s because he attacked TItle IX on Day 1?

Do you mean reversing the insanity of the softening of these regulations on sexual assault that occurred under Über Amway Salesperson, Betsy De Vos? How is that an “attack”?

I’d really like to (sincerely) understand where you’re coming from in this one, MaryV. It’s your bailiwick, after all.

      • bluedog January 31, 2021 at 12:58 pm #

You didn’t want it the government that is, so they simply took it and now everyone complains about something they didn’t want. When Reagan was gutting the labor force no one stood up just like they never stood up when they murdered JFK in Dallas or his brother Robert, King and the rest, and now they cry its someone else’s fault, as the old saying goes you broke it you own it and its up to you to fix it not your neighbor.!!!

They will cover it all up. You will never know who is on those tapes. They won’t bite the hand that feeds them.

      • Sean Coleman January 29, 2021 at 6:28 pm #

I never heard of the tapes. I expect there is nothing on them if it is in line with every other element of the affair. As for the Capitol ‘insurgency’, however, that was definitely left wing agitators.

All seems pretty logical. Pre-approved vaccine, rushed through in a staggeringly short period of time — all for a virus with phony case numbers (as the WHO recently admitted) and that has a death rate so low for 99 percent of the population, it may as well be the flu.

Add in the context with the Great Reset and other prepackaged slogans for societal remodeling coming from Schwab and his Purple Revolutionaires and you have more than enough red flags to stay away from this poison.

      • Night Owl January 29, 2021 at 10:33 am #

By the way, notice her comments on the effectiveness of HCQ and “Lysosomotrophic agents.”

Think back to the media and social media claims about Trump and “Lysol.”

Just another example of how insideous this moronic snark-based propaganda is.

        • Uncle Bob January 29, 2021 at 11:12 am #

Not just Lysol, but also the use of UV light and “drinking bleach.” Twisting Trump’s words and getting millions of people to believe the lies, all in the name of getting rid of an interloper and restoring “normalcy”, aka the march toward globalism and the end of America. If you love autocratic oligarchies — and who doesn’t? — you’re gonna love what’s being implemented now.

          • Night Owl January 29, 2021 at 11:25 am #

The Lysol example is very deliberate. That is my point. It is an anchor word. They were laying the groundwork in the event that HCQ and related items were able to overcome the initial media blackout.

The use of Lysol (the cleaner) designed to illicit a negative/dismissive response when Lysomotropic agents are brought up as a cheap way to deal with people suscepitible to or infected with COVID.

            Insidious propaganda.

          • Jeremy January 29, 2021 at 11:41 am #

“In a recent study, researchers found that UV light-emitting diodes (LEDs) can quickly and effectively kill the human coronavirus HCoV-OC43. If future research finds that they are also effective against SARS-CoV-2, this technology could be an inexpensive way to disinfect surfaces, ventilation systems, and water systems in hospitals and industrial settings.”

        • MaryV January 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm #

Yes that ‘Trump told us to drink bleach’ campaign launched by the mainstream media was insidious. I had to correct a friend who repeated it. I asked if she saw what he actually said, and she confessed she hadn’t.

The mainstream media has been speaking for Trump for 4 years.

Also, as you know, the claim that he incited a riot is completely from Opposite Land. I read the transcript of the entire speech and saw the deleted Tweet. Neither called for anything but peace.

          • Veritas January 29, 2021 at 2:27 pm #

Someone I know insisted back in the spring that Trump had told us to “drink bleach” and “inject Lysol” to prevent or treat covid. I provided him with abundant evidence that Trump had not uttered those words, only the word “disinfectant” which is a very broad term, and sent him this article: https://www.conservativedailynews.com/2020/04/fake-news-strikes-again-trump-never-said-to-inject-lysol-or-drink-bleach/
Silence…then two weeks ago the same person again told me that Trump had advocated bleach and Lysol for covid. We are watching this same robotic acquiescence to the “narrative” on the part of a huge swath of the population, on so many issues. Very disheartening and very scary.

Does our discussion of remedials somehow confirm the existance of a nothingburger ?

            Bored people can be dangerous.

          • Uncle Abraham January 30, 2021 at 12:52 pm #

I was there, among hundreds of thousands of people who had no inkling or thought of storming the Capitol because zero incitement was given by the President or anyone else in his camp.

Also, while approaching the front steps of the Capitol, no word yet was circulating about a verdict on the alternative slate of electors or the Cruz proposal. As far as anyone knew, there was still hope. Storming the Capitol made no sense, but outside agitators were trying to stir up violence.

Given the amount of violence done to the truth by those hiding in the basement of the Capitol in the years leading up to the election fiasco, now empowered and propelled forward in a legislative agenda of scorched-earth political witch hunting, a full-blown insurrection with appropriate tools was entirely in order.

          • Yohannon January 30, 2021 at 12:59 pm #

I’ve experienced this on many things over the years with many people. This is psychology of normal people. It has nothing to do with TDS per se, the latter only being an example of it. They believe what they want to believe and/or what has been drummed into them. Once “drummed” they like to “express themselves” – prate their programming.

The trick is to program them with good things that help them and society. Our Elite have programmed them to hate all that would save America.

Let people like this – the majority – vote? People who don’t care about Truth? That would be crazy. If you believe that, that is your own unconscious bias for “democracy” that has been drummed into you. It can’t be defended. Try and I’ll show you.

          • Uncle Bob January 30, 2021 at 5:49 pm #

I lost a friend of 35 years over that goddamned lie about drinking bleach, along with his continually belittling anyone who supported Trump. The final straw was when he refused to say it’s wrong for Democrats to imply or flat-out endorse the idea of hunting down Trump supporters. As far as I’m concerned, he can go fuck himself.

Another horse’s ass I know trolls a college friend of mine, constantly talking about Trump’s attempted overthrow of the legitimate government and other bullshit talking points. I’ve taken to quoting his bullshit back to him, which he then says are lies about him so I can win an argument. Sure. Of course, he has a PhD from Harvard after getting a BS as a TV-R major in college, so his nonsense is to be expected. Still, it bothers me that people can be such ruthless, devious, and just plain nasty.

          • ThorsHammer January 30, 2021 at 6:24 pm #

In this age of overwhelming propaganda we have almost forgotten what actual science demonstrates. In 1962 a Harvard researcher named Stanley Milgram conducted an experiment designed to determine to what extent ordinary American citizens would acquiesce to demands by “authority figures and torture the subjects of the experiment. As it turns out there is very little difference between average Americans and the guards at Auschwitz or Abu Ghraib prison.

Sheep have a rather unusual set of behavioral traits. They are strongly socially conditioned to behave as a flock when threatened or coerced, but individually are highly competitive. When a sheep sees his neighbor munching on a choice bit of grass he will immediately abandon an equal morsel to rush ahead to shoulder his neighbor aside.

The derogatory term “sheeple” is indeed appropriate in describing the American national character.

Well, they have certainly turned it into a huge marketing campaign. Here in San Diego when you get the vaccine, you get a sticker that says something like “I got my COVID 19 vaccine!” Reminds me of those “I voted” stickers. You can wear it a like a badge of honor. The pressure to get the vaccine is enormous and if you say you are waiting for awhile, people literally become unhinged.

A bit of bright new regarding the crud. J&J is going to release its vaccine next week. Trials with 44000 folks set its effectiveness of keeping the crud mild and folks out of the hospital and dying

It is a flu shot equivalent. Not mRNA. Uses an adenovirus engineered to have the coronavirus spike proteins on them to provoke the immune response. That is like the smallpox or the flu shots, sorta. No genetic deviations.

          Might be worth the wait.

          • stelmosfire January 29, 2021 at 11:27 am #

I might take that shot. J&J has been powderin’ my ass for like forever. I’ve gotten a flu shot for the past 27 years since the real “flu” knocked me on my ass as a young buck. If I was an ol’ timer it would have killed me . In my mind there is no doubt. Took me 2-3 months to get back up to speed.

          • GreenAlba January 29, 2021 at 12:42 pm #

mRNA vaccines are a small proportion of the Covid vaccines in the pipeline. The Astra Zenica ‘Oxford’ vaccine isn’t an mRNA vaccine (and is approved in the US I believe?). Neither is another UK vaccine just shown to be effective against the new British variant (and manufactured in my old home town, which sure needs the work).

The Johnson and Johnson, which is a single-shot shot, appears to be 66% effective.

Which is comparable with one shot of the others, I think.

            66.6% percent effective.

          • Jo-G January 29, 2021 at 7:46 pm #

I can’t say I understand what the effectiveness percentages mean but a recent book I read about the flu says they feel lucky to reach 50% for the normal flue vaccine. Many years it is much less. Primarily because of mutations. Maybe these high numbers are because the vaccines are for this specific strain.

Here they asked us to “Volunteer” for the experimental Moderna variety. We are allowed to get our regular vaccinations in ROK hospitals so if that is true for the COVID one we’ll wait to see what our choices are. The local English language paper reported that they’re buying from a variety of vendors so if we can get the normal non-mRNA style we’ll go that route.

My concern with this mRNA vaccine is the unpredictable side effects that happened with some of them. I worry that if we train our immune system to attack something made by our own cells it will facilitate the development of something like auto-immune disorders years later. If our immune system recognizes cells exuding stuff it has been trained to attack it might attack those cells. The auto-immune like response might not occur until after a person has had several types of mRNA vaccine some 10 years in the future.

I haven’t seen a description of which cells they train to produce the synthetic proteins. All , blood cells( white or red), neurons, muscle, bone marrow, liver?

          • ThorsHammer January 30, 2021 at 9:17 am #

‘#1– The mRNA shots are not really vaccines. They are genetic interventions designed to produce an altered immune response from the body. They have the potential for deadly unanticipated immune responses many years in the future. And they are totally untested beyond their immediate side effects.
            # 2– The early results from the J & J conventional vaccine indicate a 66% success ratio with no firm time span.
#3– Or you could just flip a coin with a 50% success ratio. LOL
#4— The Russian and Chinese vaccines are conventional vaccines with millions of shots administered already. They are on track to vaccinate half the world. Will they be more than 66% effective?
            # 5— Ivermectin has decades of proven safety and multiple examples of success as a treatment protocol against the Covid19 virus. Clinical success rations are reported as between 99.5 and 100% . But it is unacceptable as a treatment —- too cheap.

          • GreenAlba January 30, 2021 at 11:15 am #

I have no problem with Ivermectin if it works. I’d take anything that works. It just happens not to be a licensed medication in this country (UK), except in certain well defined situations, so it’s not really that well known (by the public, I mean).

I’d also prefer the Oxford (Astra Zenica) vaccine, or the new UK one, Novavax, which is in the pipeline, as both are traditional vaccines.

But I’m always confused about the oft-repeated argument that nobody wants cheap drugs. One of the first drugs to be found effective in RCTs was dexamethasone, which is cheap as chips.

It was given to your former President in hospital by his presumably very knowledgeable doctors.

          • GreenAlba January 30, 2021 at 11:20 am #

Although flu vaccines never have 100% cover, evidence suggests that even if vaccinated people get flu, they tend to get a milder form of it. So it isn’t pointless.

Uptake of flu vaccinations among vulnerable demographics is variable – very low in some cases. It may be the same with Covid vaccinations. We know that certain ethnic groups are more vulnerable to Covid – and more likely to die of it (even if they’re a medical professional, so not just poor people) – but they are also more ‘vaccine-hesitant’.

Each to his/her own choice and risk assessment.

Give me a break. You state: “I’m always confused about the oft-repeated argument that nobody wants cheap drugs.” That nobody certainly does not include any of the Pharma giants in the US who pulled out all the stops to prevent the use of HCQ for an entire year in order to create the climate wherein their vaccines could be mandated as the only approved treatment in spite of inadequate safety and unproven results.

If there was indeed a system of justice at work in world the executives of Pfizer and Moderna would face a Nuremberg trial accused of mass murder.

          • GreenAlba January 31, 2021 at 7:10 am #

You haven’t responded to my point about dexamethasone, which is dirt cheap.

Aspirin is also included in trials currently under way and looks promising. Cheap as chips. Mostly things seem to be tried in combination in actual wards.

The results of CQ/HCQ trials can be found here, with a list of current trials below the completed ones. Maybe something positive will come up at some point, but you’ll just have to wait.

It’s part of a long list of ALL medications currently being tested.

I have no love of Big Pharma or Big Anything Else, but I abhor sensationalism generally.

And that includes TV channels telling me every day how many people died. I suggested to my husband way back in April that they should quit doing that and have a modest rolling banner at the bottom of the screen with a URL for those who are curious about statistics.

I just want to know that if people need to go to hospital there’s a bed for them. Whether they’re suffocating with Covid, unconscious with a cardiac arrest, or awaiting a cancer operation. But I realise there will be situations where we can’t ensure that, and we should decide on priorities and strategies in times of less stress so that we’re not caught on the hop. This will have been a learning experience – it certainly has over here.

      • Yohannon January 29, 2021 at 1:33 pm #

And beyond that, a spiritual disease. People can’t accept that they’re going to die. Their desperate acceptance of masks as a magical tool indicate that they’ve never really thought about death before. The Achilles Heel of secular society was exposed and savaged.

No, we didn’t sign up to be ruled by doctors. It is the job of doctors (and public health specialists) to do their best to advise on likely consequences of any particular course of action, including likely hospitalisation numbers.

If we are not to be ruled by doctors, then citizens need to decide which kind of patients they want prioritised and who should be left untreated, if it comes to that.

Oh, Good Lord. There is no way millions of people will start double and triple masking up.

Here in Alabama folks already walk around my local Walmart with their masks pulled down beneath their noses because they have so much difficulty breathing through the damn things. Plus older folks do it because the masks fog up their eyeglasses making it impossible for them to see where they are walking or to read product and price labels.

The only reason they don’t rip the entire mask off of their face is concern that some COVID Karen will accost them and try to have them ousted from the store before they are done purchasing their groceries and other necessities. So they wear it correctly to get past the Mask Nazi door monitors and then jerk the thing down off their faces once they get inside so they can get their business done.

The whole mask mandate is a very, very bad joke.

Final! Somebody in the punditry has the balls to state the obvious. Hidin Biden is not physically capable of managing or even conceiving of the wave of policy initiatives rolling out of the Presidency and attributed to him. The common theme of most of them is to overthrow Trump’s overthrow of most of the Obama policy “accomplishments.” In other words, to restore Saint Obama in the annals of history and get the third administration underway.

The insurance policy is already in place in the form of Queen Kalama, the candidate so hated that she couldn’t raise a penny of support— except from her faithful sponsors at Team Obama.

He could not even find a decent cabinet and staff to support his anti-woke programs. Even the state level governments continuously under mined him. IMHO, this entire country should now descend into hell. It deserves it.

If there is not a right wing reaction to all of this, our goose is cooked. The Elite know this. All their grandiosity over the Left will be so much BS, as they pack their bags and move to New Zealand et al. For us guys in the middle class, better prepare to pull up roots and move elsewhere, AND protect your wrath from these parasites. This is my backyard. I’m way out in the burbs, but close enough to care.

The Mpls City Council won’t be able to pull this off. There is not one person I know that agrees with their stated goal. Granted, many nod and pretend in public to save face. I think it’s the dumbest thing any person in “power” can do is strip away basic public police services (the level of which is mandated by the city charter…btw the charter commission essentially told the council to go sit on it and spin in regards to trying to amend that detail).

They essentially want to create multiple new agencies to handle most of the “lesser” 911 calls. So basically spend three times as much money to have hordes of new “peace officers” who will not be prepared to handle an escalated situaion when it happens. And let’s face it…most of the crazy shit cops into get is because some unfortunat twat is drunk or high and does something stupid. A social worker on the scene would just call the cops in that situation. It’s absolutely ridiculous, and **they know it**.

Sometimes people put themselves in the worst of situations with awful behavior and choices…and if they have to be subdued and thrown in jail…bully for those of us who just want to raise our families and travel the streets without worrying about a car jacking at every intersection (which are up several multiples here from a year ago).

On top of it all, there are (I believe) 14 members on the city council…each only had to garner a few thousand votes to be elected. Minneapolis proper has over 400,000 residents. They just need to show up and vote these jackwads out. But…many are so woke they think they’re doing the Lord’s woke work.

I think your idea about not participating in the way we do things is the best and most simple solution. Many of our systems operate on a very slim margin, so it wouldn’t take much to bring everything down. Imagine a trucker strike with only 20% participation. That alone would seriously shake up the whole country, if not lead to a collapse. Another 20% strike in some other area of operations would definitely do it. Targeted, peaceful responses would be more effective than rioting, which would provoke a violent response from the government. After all, how can the authorities punish people for not participating?

Yes, and the CIA and KGB just appeared out of nowhere. Funny how the script is always written beforehand. The plan always exists prior to its execution. But who is dictating the plan, and why? Why is it its agents always lead to the same source.

So it goes beyond the Bourbons?! King Juan Carlos abdicated his throne to undergo intense training (he is an accomplished canned big-game hunter after all) a few years back. His mission: with the Saudi money he had tied up in Swiss accounts he was to initiate COVID virus transmission in Iberian hogs and Basque river eels to ensure the Pope would have a revitalized army of followers that would allow him infiltration into various strategic swiss cantons where families built upon wealth from confectionary companies are vying for more control of traditional mediterranean populations.

Red squirrels are a protected species in the UK (included in Schedules 5 and 6 of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981).

Now I know why. It has Beijing and, by extension, Ignatius of Loyola, written all over it.

Apparently the reason Beijing has incarcerated the Uyghers is a secret project to convert them all to Jesuit sleepers.

        • akmofo January 29, 2021 at 12:47 pm #

The plan is to convert people into cynical unbelievers, aka Satanists, like yourself. The Uyghurs believe in God. It’s not my God, but that’s ok. They have a moral compass. The Commies/Fascists/Socialists/Nazis/Progressives/Satanists have no such moral compass. As JHK always comments, it’s an infectious Satanic nihilism where everything goes and nothing matters, and it has taken its grip on the US and the world.

          • GreenAlba January 29, 2021 at 12:56 pm #

I’m no more cynical than healthy scepticism requires, and my moral compass is fine, thanks very much, but then I’m not a commie, fascist, socialist, nazi, progressive or satanist, so there’s that.

One should be wary of people who think they are the only ones to know the truth.

You still have a memory in you, and it has provided you with some light, Mrs Green. The generations after you will not have that memory. There will be no guiding light for them, only schooled ignorance. The lizards will rule them as they ruled ROME.

They will use them as slaves. They will use them as sex toys. They will use them as entertainment massacred by wild beasts, human or not. They will use them as fodder for war and conquest. They will use them as fertilizer for their garden, as the Nazis did with their Jewish victims. They’ll use them as soap. Them Vatican lizards will not allow anything go to waste.

Indeed. Let us return to your highly scientific prognistications and LARPingly authoritative statements on da Covids.

Dat PCR news stung. Almost as much as HCQ.

Soap? So you believe that nonsense? Lampshades too? Truth is the first casualty of war.

          • GreenAlba January 29, 2021 at 1:46 pm #

I pay no attention to either WHO or the CDC – why would I? I’ve known since about April that the PCRs are of limited usefulness.

You still haven’t told us what an up-to 48% false-negative rate will have done to those numbers. So I’m still waiting patiently.

But then you’re a bit behind as we’re still waiting for those Newcount flu death stats. And arithmetic has never been your strong point.

HCQ has still to prove itself in any RCT. Perhaps, if it joins forces with something else it will. But it hasn’t yet. Proved itself, I mean.

I don’t know anything about Ivermectin, on the other hand, other than that it can be used to treat scabies, and the fact that it’s not licensed in the UK anyway, except for named-patient use (something I hadn’t even heard of before). So debates about it in the US are outwith my immediate interest.

Did Mr Trump have a view on Ivermectin? I’ve no idea.

          • Yohannon January 29, 2021 at 1:47 pm #

Yes, by adjusting the PCR cycles they can up or down the “rate of infections” as desired. They control the vertical. They control the horizontal. If they only had an equivalent precision when it came to the stock market! Oh well, they’re working on it.

          • GreenAlba January 29, 2021 at 1:49 pm #

They’re best ignored, mostly. What matters, as I have said till I’m blue in the face, is hospitalisation numbers.

But … you still need the best test you can come up with for medical staff. You don’t want your very sick rellies being operated on for 8 hours by a team of Covid-infected surgeons. Or, may you do – why would I presume?

          • akmofo January 29, 2021 at 2:14 pm #

I’m late to the party but here are some official stats from the UK.
            (Source: ONS)

In the five years preceding 2020 an average of 530,000 Britons died each year from all causes. That’s around 0.76% of the population.

In 2020, deaths from all causes were 600,000, being 0.86% of the population.

According to a research paper published in December by the Department of Health & Social Care, up to 46% of excess deaths could be from non-coronavirus related causes such as missed diagnoses, suicides etc. (Personally, I know of more people who have died from suicide than Covid.)

I guess we’ll all have our opinion on whether what we’ve done to our economy and society has been worth it.

(My personal view, given the demographic of deaths, is that all Covid has done is bring them forward in time and those people will now not appear in future statistics. I’m willing to bet that when we look back at the five-year average from 2020-2025 there won’t be a single excess death.)

“Alba: What did you think of the women in constant spasm after taking the vaccine? Not interested since it’s not the official narrative?”

            You asked me this already.

In response I asked you to provide a link. Obviously I would prefer a trustworthy source, not a dingbat link. But you didn’t give me any kind of link.

I would be interested, if it were true and significant. I’m not aware of an official narrative on eternal spasms.

We had a conversation a few weeks ago where I told you I was monitoring the situation and would make my decision accordingly (and according to my own personal risks. My decision won’t be finally made till the needle is in my arm.

But time goes on, and now we’re at 8 million vaccinated in this country and the adverse effects must be incredibly disappointing. Because, yes, I do believe there are real individuals on this very board (I could give you names) who would be happy to see people suffer adverse consequences, for their own purposes. A level of sick and twisted I can’t identify with, thankfully, but I believe it exists.

But fear not. As with BSE it will be possible to keep shifting the goalposts. If they don’t have an adverse reaction now, they’ll have it in10 years. And if they don’t have it in 10 years, they’ll have it in 20 years. And if they don’t have it in 20 years, their children, and their dogs, cats and hamsters will have it.

@Redneck Liberal, GreenAlba has had ample time to tell me he/she doesn’t live in the US. He/she opted not to. This is what narcissists do, it’s called gaslighting.

You really need to start paying attention.

You may be the only person on the board that didn’t know that, and you’ve been around long enough.

But you narcissists don’t pay any attention to anyone else’s opinions or give a rat’s ass about anything about anyone else but themselves. You’re a living illustration…

          • GreenAlba February 1, 2021 at 5:42 am #

I have to concur with RL about your lack of attention. Endless references have been made to my location, not least in humour by brh (check out his MO – it’s so much more gracious than yours).

Here’s a bit of general knowledge for you, free, gratis and for nothing – Alba is the Gaelic word for Scotland. And green is the English word for green (it rains a fair bit, which makes it beautifully so). And there’s no reason why you couldn’t know that either, since you have an Albany for exactly the same reason.

But your problem isn’t a lack of general knowledge. It’s having hissy fits and flinging childish insults at people who have the temerity to point our alternative sources of information to you and offer explanations where you seem to lack them.

Manners still exist in my world.

Alba, you are fully aware that this designation by royal decree (don’t be preposterous: everyone knows that Charles is all over the W&C act and every order of environmentalism in England) is mere cover for the brigades of gray squirrels unleashed by Opus Dei in the hills and hollows from yorkshire to cornwall.

          • GreenAlba January 29, 2021 at 1:26 pm #

Absolutely, Avatar, but the niggling question is – how many of the greys personally knew Epstein, after being introduced by Prince Andrew? Grey is not a trustworthy colour – it’s neither one thing nor the other.

Waity Katie didn’t know what she was getting into. Rather like poor Kay in The Godfather.

But she has probably gone native, at least on the surface, having seen how the Vatican disposed of her over-talkative mother-in-law.

Back in real-world Edinburgh, the albino squirrels that visited my daughter’s neck of the woods last year have come back – she sent me photos. They are very cute.

Superior? No. Native? Yes. Why shouldn’t the Red squirrels have Britain for their own? What do you have against them?

Btw, when native predators are reestablished, the gray advantage drops since they aren’t cautious enough.

          • GreenAlba January 30, 2021 at 10:47 am #

I think DavidH was referring to the albino squirrel, Yoho, in the picture. It is a cute aberration of the grey, and nothing to do with the reds.

GreenAlba, anyone who believes that magically, now, vaccines can be created in a few months when everyone in the scientific community (the real one, not the liberal “I believe science” cult), knows this is impossible.

Vaccines take 5 years at the very minimum.

You go get your jab. Be a guinea pig for the eugenicists. That’s your choice.

But please don’t condescend to someone who understands the big, global picture. You obviously don’t have a flipping clue.

          • GreenAlba February 1, 2021 at 5:55 am #

Did you even read the links I offered you with explanations of why the vaccines didn’t take 5 years this time?

No, thought not. I can’t help you there – you have to acquire your own self-awareness.

The development of the vaccine was the least of the challenges, and took very little time. Are you even aware how much of a financial risk the financers of this exercise took (certainly in the case of the Oxford vaccine) by starting production well before the vaccine trials were completed? Had the trials not been successful, the vaccines would have had to be destroyed and the investment lost. Everyone knew that in advance. And trials that are normally carried out sequentially were carried out concurrently, specifically because of the gargantuan financing effort.

“You go get your jab. ”

Thank you so much for your permission, Madame Narc. I’ll do exactly as I see fit, just the same as you. The difference, you’ll find, is that I’m not insulting people who don’t make the same choice as I do, whatever that finally turns out to be.

I just expect them not to lie in what they may consider a good cause. And not have a hissy fit when someone answers their questions with actual facts.

I am rather encouraged by all of Sleepy Joe’s EO’s.

        Why? You may ask.

Well, because it betrays the fact that Joe and his handlers know that their chances of passing much legislation of consequence are slim due to the fact that the filibuster remains intact. Yes, they could rescind it, but it appears unlikely. If Manchin and Sinema continue to refuse to support killing the filibuster than the Hard Left agenda is DEAD IN THE WATER and will die in the Senate every time.

So Joe is doing what his former boss did. He’s whipping out his pen and singing EO’s and trying to rule as the Emperor Nero would have, by decree.

But, under our system the beauty of the EO is that he who lives by Executive Orders, dies by Executive Orders. As each party makes it a routine procedure to roll back the EO’s of the other party every time the White House changes hands.

Given the fact that Trump will survive the 2nd impeachment and also will NOT be barred from running for office again, it will be a real HOOT to watch “No. 47,” (DJT) rescinding the hundreds of EO’s by Biden on January 20, 2025 when he begins his second term of office.

The real test for cult followers comes when none of the predicted consequences of their conspiracies come to pass. The true cult follower will soon come up with yet more conspiracy theories to explain why the first predictions turned out to be wrong.

JHK has passed the test and has now passed to the realm of irrelevancy. Truly disappointing, at a time when the world could really use his now defunct intellect.

OK, people, the whole “JHK used to be such an insightful writer back when he wrote about suburban sprawl and my pet topics, but now he’s gone astray and his brain has melted tsk tsk tsk” shtik is getting real stale. What is this, the 20th incarnation puking out the same condescending bullshit? You don’t like it, head back to your NPR / HuffPost / WaPo echo chamber.

      • Beryl of Oyl January 29, 2021 at 11:19 am #

It would be foolish to keep on with the suburban sprawl topic when we can all clearly see that there is a new plan for America’s suburbs.
They want us all crammed in those high-rise welfare towers, along with as many Third World immigrants and “refugees” as they can cram in.

        Things have changed.

        • Rain Waters January 30, 2021 at 1:42 pm #

Suburbs appear as walls surrounding toilets fka cities from 25k ft. All former exits are now plugged by real estate speculation and public entities labeled cul de sac, trailhead, park, open space, dog park etc. Look at your own area. Try to figure out any way to reach open country in any direction on foot, not in your gubmint vehicle.

Note how any remaining access is inevitably a so called “freeway” piled under seeminly endless beaureacratic jurisdictions. Cop, shariff, state police and increasingly federal troops everywhere.

Slowly steadily an entire population has been systematically herded into open air prisons and most of US are like nice warm frogs basking in the glow of AI, soon to be worshiped as god.

If Mr K writes like me and other honest humans, he will end up a disenfranchised nothingbody on libry with his voice censored completely. So he continues here by displaying just enough cautionary bullspeak to fly under its radar guillotine while teaching me to effectively communicate.

As someone who has to be banging on death’s door before I’ll take any oral medication, I suggest that the paucity of “…common sense, clear thinking, and just plain knowledge…” may be in large part traced to the many meds which have become part of the “new norm”. Here’s a little poem I’ve assembled from a set of these delicacies:

Thorazine (chlorpromazine) ~ Trilafon (perphenazine) ~ Stelazine (trifluoperazine) ~ Serentil (mesoridazine) ~ Prolixin (fluphenazine) ~ Navane (thiothixene) ~ Moban (molindone) ~ Mellaril (thiofridazine) ~ Loxitane (loxapine) ~ Haldol (haloperidol) ~ Abilify (aripiprazole) ~ Clozaril (clozapine) ~ Geodon (ziprasidone) ~ Risperdal (risperidone) ~ Seroquel (quetiapine) ~ Zyprexa (olanzapine) ~ Celexa (citalopram) ~ Lexapro (escitalopram) ~ Luvox (fluvoxamine) ~ Paxil (paroxetine) ~ Prozac (fluoxetine) ~ Zoloft (sertraline) ~ Emsam (selegiline) ~ Marplan (isocarboxazid) ~ Nardil (phenelzine) ~ Parnate (tranylcypromine) ~ Anafranil (clomipramine) ~ Asendin (amoxapine) ~ Elavil (amitriptyline) ~ Norpramin (desipramine) ~ Pamelor (nortriptyline) ~ Sinequan (doxepin) ~ Surmontil (trimipramine) ~ Tofranil (imipramine) ~ Vivactil (protiptyline) Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) ~ Effexor (venlafaxine) ~ Cymbalta (duloxetine) ~ Ativan (lorazepam) ~ BuSpar (buspirone) ~ Inderal (propranolol) ~ Klonopin (clonazepam) ~ Librium (chlordiazepoxide) ~ Serax (oxazepam) ~ Tenormin (atenolol) ~ Tranxene (clorazepate) ~ Valium (diazepam) ~ Xanax (alprazolam) ~ Adderall (amphetamine and dextroamphetamine) ~ Dexedrine ~ (dextroamphetamine) ~ Ritalin (methylphenidate) Lamictal (lamotrigine) ~ Lithium ~ Bupropion ~ Tricyclics ~ Tetracyclics ~ Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors ~ Clonazepam ~ Lisdexamfetamine ~ Dimesylate ~ Tramadol

When you’re on this dope I can’t see how you can expect to function mentally at an optimum level. Yet the product is shoveled out like breath mints by the medical “profession”, in many cases to deal with the ambient stresses of most people’s lives.

A nation of placid, high-functioning zombies will pretty much do what it is told to do, believe what it is told to believe, and not trouble itself with energetic study or incisive thought.

There are other factors involved but I simply bring this up as a possibly operative factor in the stupification of the increasingly dismayed masses.

The DNC controlled media all move in unison adopting on the same day whatever new phrase or focus they are told to run with. This is obvious to anyone paying attention. The white supremacist meme is now ndlessly repeated as if it is the only reason why anyone might have supported Trump or be a Republican for that matter.

The fact that some might have liked his stance with China or forcing NATO to pay their share or supporting gun rights or wanting immigration control are ignored as reasons for having supported Trump. White supremacy is the only possibility they say. That, or they see white supremacy behind every position he and Republicans in general take.

I expect dictionaries will soon change the definition of white supremacy to be “anyone who disagrees with a Democrat on anything”.

    • JohnAZ January 29, 2021 at 10:48 am #

I agree, Chippenhook; I fear that the Democrats’ most effective tool will be the use of domestic terror laws to suppress any dissent from the right. The definition of terrorism will be expanded to apply, as you say, to “anyone who disagrees with a Democrat on anything”.

Do you think there will be racial profiling in the search for domestic terrorists? Could anyone tell us the race of all the guardsmen sent home?

Now for the truly paranoid: how many of you think our names are already being collected on “suspicious” sites like this and others?

    • MaryV January 29, 2021 at 3:13 pm #

Pretty sure that’s already the narrative… you disagree with the trans agenda, you’re a transphobe (and racist). You disagree with critical race theory, you’re a racist. You don’t like Dem candidates because they are black/female/hispanic – you’re a racist and a misogynist. You disagree with voting Democrat in general, you’re now a white supremacist.

      They got that narrative down.

    • Wizard of the Saddle January 31, 2021 at 7:35 pm #

The White Supremacy narrative serves a purpose. If one wishes to complete the 150 year old project of wrecking the constitution originally bequeathed to us by those horrid old white dudes in Philly in 1787, then one needs a crisis to exploit to get the job done.

The first attempt was made in the aftermath of the War to Prevent Southern Independence. For 12 years the South groaned under federal military occupation as the “world improvers” sought to twist the Constitution and re-interpret it to suit the ends of the Northern conquerors. They made a lot of progress. The union ceased to be a voluntary one. It was now a life sentence for all of the states, no matter how badly the central government did violence to the constitutional compact between the states who created the federal government.

The second attempt was made in the 1950’s and ‘60’s using the Civil Rights movement. Once more, the plight of Africans was used as the “wedge issue.” This time, the violence was to individual rights instead of to state’s rights. Freedom of association was the greatest casualty. Once more, the Constitution groaned under the strain of the assault from the “world improvers.”

We have now entered the third attempt to overthrow our Constitution. As in the previous two instances, the plight of the Africans in our midst is used. In the age of black vice-presidents, governors, sports starts, business tycoons, etc. we are still supposed to believe that Africans are being oppressed and terrorized by an invisible army of White Supremacists laying waste to the country in ways far more insidious than anything caused by COVID-19 thus far. The goal this time is to permanently subjugate the descendants of the founding stock of the country and to place them on the path to ethnic cleansing, Yugoslav-style.

At some point, you would think that a lot of moderate to liberal white Americans would perceive the coming peril, but they seem not to. They continue to parrot the Woke platitudes and propaganda of the BLM and Antifa radicals thinking that “white allies” will be spared with the New Black Panthers show up at their door to haul away any “Crackers” who voted for Trump.

I’m sorry to say that these people will be among the first to perish with a 7.62 mm bullet from an AK in the back of the skull from these communist tyrants in training. In every communist revolution it is the “useful idiots” who often are liquidated first in the cause of advancing the revolution.

      You fools have been warned.

Quite a list of needs for a conservative Republican-emergence.

An alternative media to counter the Wokesters.

Entrance to every state. Win enough 2022 races to unseat Pelosi and Schumer. Nothing would be sweeter than that.

Absorption of the libertarians. For them, self survival as the Deep State wants to destroy them.

Political pressure to stop the crazies trying to eliminate the police.

  16. Lars January 29, 2021 at 10:50 am #

Jim, what you’re talking about is consistency; you must know by now that we’re never going to get it. The left can loot and burn things all summer, but if the right steps over the line, then it’s time to pass some new domestic terrorism laws and call in the Stasi. Even when we call in the troops, we have to vet them for ideological purity. Will there be commissars assigned to military units now?

I don’t ignore the possibility that the assault on the capitol could have been, at least in part, a false flag operation; there’s certainly not a lot of information coming out of the investigation. Soon, it will all be quietly dropped: do we hear much about Epstein these days? The eventual “official” report, sparse on details and documentation, will prevail.

I also think you’re right about cliques running the Democratic Party: we have been witnessing the fall of the Clinton Clique and the rise of the Obama Clique.

the BLM riots were not incited or egged on by mayors or governors.

      • Night Owl January 29, 2021 at 11:21 am #

Indirectly they were. Cops were told to stand down, and in rare cases where BLM rioters were picked up for serious crimes, they were ordered released the next day.

When the cops are told to stand down, this is a form of incitement and even approval.

        • zetamoose January 29, 2021 at 11:52 am #

while I would be satisfied to see reports of police shooting rioters, i am not convinced this would end the riots.

one solution is to shoot the rioters with rifles, from a safer distance. since rioters are not an imminent threat to life if they are 100 or 200 feet away, police can take their time trying to shoot them in the shins. technology is enough that a camera on the rifle can record the rioter rioting as he is shot. will shooting a few rioters in the shins convince the rest of them to run away? it seems worth a shot!

      • Yohannon January 29, 2021 at 1:59 pm #

Their violence is “speech” and our speech is “violence”. People are not consistent in their minds or personal lives, so if the Government adopts the same stance, it feel perfectly normal. And historically, it is normal. Objective or “blind” justice has been a human rarity. Now we’re back to the hideous norm.

For GENERATIONS the media and academia raved about the dangers from the Right, when the real danger was always from the Left. They influenced generations of people, especially college graduates. They played the long game and now they have triumphed. If they can disarm Americans, they will then perpetrate the genocide against White Christians they so greatly desire, exactly as they did in the old Soviet Union.

Funny, we just don’t hear people like you bring that up or really anything about the passivity of the Dems, and Dem media concerning any of the many “woke” people who threatened violence against the right, who burned our cities and attacked our citizens and police forces.

Always Trump, even though he never advocated violence. But, in your mind, since his followers did, he is guilty. And not only that but have the trained drama queens in the Dem media act as if this were a real, planned insurrection.

It is a lot harder to look the other way when the White House orders Ameritrade, Robinhood and Wells Fargo to lock customers out of their accounts while their property is illegally sold. Best yet, as their property was being stolen they were called NAZI’s and white supremists.

it may make these reddit traders feel good to believe they thwarted predatory short-trading hedgefunds. but they did this by bidding a stock up into bubble territory. so, they are holding stock that is about to collapse. the next short traders will then make money on that collapse.

“Tech giants” censor “misinformation about COVID 1984 with the same zeal as they suppress election fraud discussion.

Curious. Everyone knew Derek Chauvin’s name almost immediately. “Different circumstances”, I guess…

We haven’t even heard very much about Ashli. Doesn’t she have friends and family looking for justice?

      • BackRowHeckler January 29, 2021 at 11:33 am #

        No! Why would she?

Her death cannot be used as a pretense to Burn, Loot, and Murder, so who cares about her?

        • Wizard of the Saddle January 31, 2021 at 7:52 pm #

Ashli was merely one of the *examples* Democrats wanted to make of some folks from our side. Her death will never be seriously investigated. The shooter belongs to a federally protected class of citizens, you see. They are allowed to rob, burn, assault, and kill white Republicans……oh……excuse me…….I think the official approached commie nomenclature is now “white supremacists” without consequences.

          Isn’t that odd?

So, let me get this straight. Black law enforcement officers are now allowed to murder white civilians with impugnity……..sort of like corrupt local yokel white lawmen from bumfuck Missisippi were allowed to do the same to black citizens in times of old.

          I get it, now.

In Joe Biden’s “Woke Amerika” two wrongs DO make a right!

Whew. Glad I got that straight.

Yes. Unlike the George Floyd situation, there’s no video of the police officer’s face who pulled the trigger.

That and, you know, she was pushing through a barricade in front of armed officers and attempting to overthrow an election (instead of passing a bad $20). Otherwise, completely similar! /s

Why do you believe anything? Do you really think Epstein killed himself? Why? Do you really think he’s dead? Have you seen the body? Lin Wood says he’s alive. A crazy? That crazy won Nick Sandman millions of dollars from CNN.

          • Night Owl January 29, 2021 at 2:45 pm #

Lin’s Fireside Chats are on Rumble.

Anytime the system unites to block someone off every possible platform, you know he is saying something worth investigating, at the least.

            Lin is on Telegram, too.

          • Cruizin Suzin January 30, 2021 at 8:50 pm #

One of L. Lin Wood’s last tweets was, on the face of it, both a a little off-beat in terms of accuracy and a little disturbing, to wit:

If Pence is arrested, @SecPompeo will save the election. Pence will be in jail awaiting trial for treason. He will face execution by firing squad. He is a coward & will sing like a bird & confess ALL.

            — Lin Wood (@LLinWood) January 1, 2021

Can anyone provide a legitimate explanation as to why he would think that a) Pence could have done anything else, and b) what he thinks Pence will “confess ALL” about?

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder January 31, 2021 at 8:41 am #

Cruizin Suzin – “Can anyone provide a legitimate explanation as to why he would think that a) Pence could have done anything else, and b) what he thinks Pence will “confess ALL” about?”

Nope. Not me, at least. Lin (and a few others) got very specific and very out of the box for a while there. It was strange.

They either truly knew big things and were gambling that secrets would be revealed from the highest levels…or…they were doing the work of TPTB by being (again, oddly and extremely specific) controlled opposition to give the conservative base unfounded hope that “something was being done” about the election situation. When in reality, nothing was done, nor was anyone actually planning to do so. After all, we all know real consequences are rarely exacted on those above the general peasantry.

          • Cruizin Suzin January 31, 2021 at 3:33 pm #

So, you think this (Lin Wood’s apparent embracing of the QAnon narrative) is yet another ‘false flag’? A ginning-up of we Deplorables to expect something that was never going to happen?

Possible, I guess…but let’s see whether TPTB leave Wood alone or go after his law license (which has, partially, already happened IIRC). If they do, then I’m assuming he genuinely believes this stuff.

Jim, you’ve been concluding many of your blog posts all year long with something to the effect, and with the gist:
“What will happen when the American people find out what crooks the Democrats are, and what despicable tactics and methods they used to attain such and such an outcome?”

Well I’ll tell you: THEY WILL DO NOTHING. Do you know why? Firstly, because they are beleaguered by economic hardships, and don’t have the economic, emotional and psychological wherewithal to fight for their freedoms and individual rights, and for integrity in the judicial system and in the vital organs of law enforcement such as the CIA, FBI and NSA. Americans are currently living off printed fake money. Are they really in a position to revolt against the big government which is bailing them out?

It’s obviously not the 1800’s anymore. Big government has made tens of millions millions dependent on it and therefore incapable of revolt. It also has the monopoly on the real weapons of war, such as tanks, fighter jets, howitzers, cruise missiles, drones and APC’s. No “right-wing” militia group will be able to stand up to this. For years I’ve been hearing of how many guns there are in the US. This does NOT mean there will be an adequate opposition to a military and police force which is now being turned on the population. All those guns are no good really if they are being hoarded by gun-enthusiasts and criminals who have no combat experience.

Moreover, after decades of radical feminism wearing down the masculine spirit, it seems to me that there are no longer enough real men left to wage this battle against America’s internal enemies. I knew this back around June/July when mobs took to the streets and tore down statues of America’s heroes. I remember thinking: “Where are all the men! Who is out there defending America against this vile desecration of her honor and her collective memory?”

Moreover, Americans who are still American and not Woke are up against an awesome new foe: a Marxist/Leninist force of evil which has captured ALL the commanding heights of the economy and of government. It has infiltrated and subverted education, the media, big business, big tech, big government, the mid-level bureaucracy. And judging by how the law-courts treated the cases laid by Giuliani on election fraud, it seems that the judiciary system is now an extended arm of the Democratic Party. How do you fight against an enemy that is everywhere, including in your school, in your workplace, even in your church?

Like in any Marxist/Leninist state, morality and even reality are now inverted. 2+2 now equals 5. If you don’t agree, you need to be re-educated. Criminals and other degenerates must be let out of prison, and decent upstanding people must be prosecuted. Why? Because they are still the standard bearers of old values, values which the Woke HAS to destroy.

The battle is lost. Admit it. The US is ROYALLY F**KED. Born in high ideals in 1776, died in 2020 from cynicism, bad faith and cultural subversion. It was never going to last. It was always going to end, especially now that most of the western world has lost its religious faith and its moral compass. I didn’t expect this kind of ending, with a woke insurrection fueled by lies and hallucinations. But this is what you get when you don’t fight the long and corrosive process of cultural and ideological subversion by Marxism/Leninism.

I lived in Zimbabwe. I know how Marxism/Leninism works. Once they come to power, they NEVER let go. The democracy becomes a fake democracy. Every election is a mere formality and a foregone conclusion. In practice, the one party state will be permanent until it self destructs, which can take decades – decades in which the people’s history, traditions, identity and character are completely destroyed, rendering them a people of no worth whatsoever, a history-less, rootless felaheen. The way to kill the snake is by cutting its head off BEFORE it wraps around you and strangles you to death. That window of opportunity is gone I think.

The ONLY thing that will save America from being fully consumed by this national hallucination and madness is the early arrival of social and economic collapse, which may not be far away given the imminent collapse of the shale fracking industry and the subsequent collapse in oil production. When this collapse finally arrives, big government will begin to fall apart and its grip on the lives of the common people will be loosened. The great parasite or tumor in Washington, now starved of resources, will no longer be able to inflict as much injury on the character and morale of the nation.

    • BackRowHeckler January 29, 2021 at 11:55 am #

Well, we have windmills and solar panels to pick up the slack for any decline in oil and natgas production. In fact earlier in the week the Climate Czar — John Kerry — insinuated fossil fuels are an obsolete commodity, no longer needed, easily replaced by ‘Renewables’. The Climate Czar appeared a little perplexed why this fact so obvious to him isn’t obvious to the plebes living out in Oil Patch, OK. What are they, stupid? Well, we’ll have to educate them! One gets the impression, no matter how bad of an Oil Collapse there is, plenty of oil will still exist to power up John Kerry’s (and his ilk) 6 mansions, and Gulfstream IV.

    • 100th Avatar January 29, 2021 at 11:56 am #

A managed collapse is part of the plan.
What did Macron and others say at Davos this past week?
People need to welcome and accept more state intervention in the markets.
      People need to accept UBI.
People need to accept a decline in quality of life.
Well, they do not say decline, they say a “change in the norm”.

Well said. Mike Pence didn’t want to be someone important and throw a monkey wrench in the works. He wanted to be a good boy and be like by the right people, the good people, the people who determine who the good people are and pat good boys like Mike on the head.

We were in a Caesar race. Trump wasn’t what they said he was. Otherwise he would have punched first. Instead they did and knocked him out. He knew what they were doing and prepared. They knew he knew and also prepared. Their preparations were far more comprehensive, just an iteration of what they’ve been doing for decades. They were ready and America was demoralized. They knew they could pull it off and they have – unless the military is planning something.

I have said before that the storming of the US Capitol on Jan 6 was a personal and political disaster for Donald Trump … he effectively lost everything he had in one hit. He had lost the election anyway by then, but he left office in ignominy, and with his brand greatly tarnished.

But he did not have a lot of advantage anyway – 49 of 50 states had submitted their certified slate of electors by the safe harbor date of 8 December. Wisconsin was just one day late.

His goose was essentially cooked at that point. And not getting to first base with 60+ law suits had already nailed him, pretty much.

I think the comments about Mike Pence are pretty harsh. His role as Chair of the Joint Session of Congress was absolutely constrained by the law, and by the procedural rules.

He had no options other than what he did – despite all commentary to the contrary. He was neither a hero nor a coward, nor a bellhop for dark forces. He behaved according to the law – that’s all that could have been expected from him.

      Excellent summary of our current situation, Shox. It’s ironic that the more technologically advanced we become, the more atomized and helpless. One view of the etymological derivation of the word “religion” points to the Latin “ligare”–to bind. We are no longer a country bound to each other or to an overarching shared consensus about ultimate truth or authority. “Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
      The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
      Are full of passionate intensity.”

Perhaps it is far too early in this post for Godwin’s Law to go into effect, but is there any doubting Arendt’s very misunderstood hypothesis on the banality of evil?

Explanations as to how a one-time seemingly cultured and civilized society deteriorates in a fog of unenlightenment, intellectual laziness, orchestrated agitprop, and moral disconcertment.

What the host is outlining, and what we are witnessing, is a society in jackbooted lockstep marching to the beat of a zeitgeist promulgated by a sinister amalgamation of journalism (infotainment, the 4th estate), political gangs, oligarchs, technocrats, useful idiots (antifa, woke pseudo-intellectuals on the dole at land grant U and endowments Inc.)

    Look familiar?
A real trope, but yeah, history reads that way.

    • Sean Coleman January 29, 2021 at 6:49 pm #

I think it might better be called the banality of deceit and self-delusion. I think she was greatly over-rated although I have not heard much of her. It seems she fell for that tallest of stories hook, line and sinker. This reminds me somehow of a young Italian philosopher-inteleectual (whose name escapes me) who, rightly, defended the right to deny the Holocaust while at the same time quoting the Communist lunatic (and Commissar for Culture and Education) against him, the destruction of reason. It is upsdie-down.

The banality of evil. It reminds me of how people used to solemnly intone, after the moon landing, “One small step for Man, one giant leap for Mankind.” As if it meant anything.

Christopher Booker in his 1969 book about the Swinging Sixties, The Neophiliacs, equated evil with fantasy. I have come round to agree with him. The banality of fantasy, then? Yes, I suppose that is true; it is always cliched and stupid, an insult to the intelligence. So I suppose from that point of view, the banality of evil is true after all.

      • 100th Avatar January 29, 2021 at 7:47 pm #

        From an American-centric POV.
Do people believe the liberals, media, Politicians-D, celebridiots are all consumed with evil?
They are speaking of persecuting Trump supporters. Republicans.
White supremacists (whatever that ultimately amounts to).
        Burn them down
Put them in a firing line.

This is what Arendt got right.
How easy, how forcefully people are consumed.
        Force majeure.

There is no secret. No complex plot.
        It’s sickly simple.

She was correct, but people want to believe that some deep evil consumed people. To make them the atrocious.

It’s your nature. And you’re blinded to it.
        Banal indeed.

The NYT, mentioned in the piece above (good writing BTW) is backing off the COVID scam.
I’m not certain what their game is, are they hoping to control the outcome as the narrative crumbles? Who will they leave holding the bag?

The maskholes are pathetic at this point. We all clearly heard Michigan’s governor attempt to shame constituents for being unwilling to wear a “simple piece of cloth” over their airways.

Now they are trying to pretend the reasons masks don’t work (which they DON’T, all you dummies who still believe this) is that we weren’t doing it right, we were wearing snotrags instead of full fledge diapers.
Dr, Redfield was twirling around a paper surgical mask on his fingers, when he stated they were better than vaccines.

Dr, Fauci only ever wore one mask when he even bothered with one, no he says two.
Now three is even being floated as best.

Think of all the people who have died from flu or pneumonia over all the decades when Dr. Fauci knew that all you had to do was suffocate yourself enough, and disease would go away?

Anyway, this is falling apart, and the people still trying to keep it going will be those who were in on it from the start.

It just shocks me how easy it was that they were able to dupe so many people with this malignant nonsense.

Curious how the NYT is beginning to back off (try to avoid it when I can), but it pisses me off and does not surprise me one bit.

These “institutions” get away with all of this disingenuity because these ops are planned well in advance and they know their exit strategy before they begin. The just have to have the stones (or as GA put it, the “bawbag”) to shift gears and then claim they didn’t shift a thing. To literally bang a right while proclaiming a left in progress (in plain sight, too, that’s the only way it works)…and whoever thinks it smells off is a conspiracy theorist.

Many can rightfully claim to have seen through this within a short period of time when things got weird and the chips were stacking up heavily against any and all common sense…I stocked up in early Feb and mentioned (well, ranted) to my wife after about a week of lockdown rules last March that it sure seems like they’re just testing the public to see what we’re willing to put up with. They were. Massive beta test. And as a whole populace we’ve failed miserably.

Some of the smartest people I know are in the narrative up to the knuckle, and always will be until the NYT tells them it’s okay to change their mind.

  25. UrbanHick January 29, 2021 at 12:05 pm #

Or… Maybe it was thousands of Trump supporters, egged on by Trump, that headed to the Capitol to protest. Then an aggressive subset of them stormed the grounds, and an even more violent subset of them invaded the building itself, some with obvious murderous intent.

#notalltrumpers, but some of them, certainly.

Could there have been some antifa in among them? Possible of course. Just like there were alt-right creating havoc among BLM protests. However I’ve noticed that Antifa protesters are smart enough to wear masks when getting their pictures taken, and there wasn’t a lot of those sorts of smarts going around on 1/6.

It’s natural to not want to believe there are bad people among those who share your beliefs. I supported the thousands who came out in support of BLM and hated to see their efforts undemined by a few dipshits throwing things at cops and vandalizing fed buildings. I’d like to believe they were not connected. But I’m not going to weave fantasies for myself to believe in instead.

Most of the time, this time included, the obvious is true: Some few deranged Trumpers thought they were going to kill Pelosi and kill Pence and were going to disrupt the count – and thought they had Trump’s blessing to do so. Also: Biden’s doing his job, a little stammery while he’s doing it, but look at news sources not intent on taking him down and you’ll see he’s doing what his supporters elected him to do. Also: That election was certified in 50 states after dems who blew their chance in ’16 were hell bent on getting rid of Trump this time came out (or stayed in an voted by mail like myself) in droves. And it was upheld in over 50 court cases.

Fantasy is comforting and simple, reality is boring and complicated. Choose reality.

“Fantasy is comforting and simple, reality is boring and complicated.”

Speaking of which, read Yarvin’s latest at substack. “Donald Trump, the Natural Experiment.” Funny how BLM, Antifa were “unorganized” (according to Mumbles) during the summer yet according to the Times, those same unorganized summer rioters were suddenly organized & disciplined enough to not show up for the winter riot. Times article: “How Democrats Planned for Doomsday.”

      Yarvin comment:

“Do you remember the dogs of summer? The riots that did $2 billion in damage? The miniature armies in black clothes and black masks? Those were dogs on a leash. They could be turned on and off in one Zoom call. Anything that can be suppressed with ‘a few key decisions’ is not in any way spontaneous. You just read it in the Times—so it must be true, right? And did the people in black show up on the 6th? They did not.

And just who was pressing that button? Go back to ‘was announced.’ Who set up this Zoom call? Who selected the 900 people? What is this list? Wouldn’t you like to know, you fascist peasant? Go back to Dubuque, smoke some heroin and jack off into your Playstation 5. You! Hayseed! Why are you even reading this story? It’s about your betters—for your betters. We now return you to all the news that’s fit to print.”

When you steal an election, you have to expect some pushback. You want to put them in jail for years? By treating them as Insurrectionists, you are creating the very Insurrection you fear. Charge them with trespass and let it go. Vandalism for vandals. The guy who threw a fire extinguisher? Well, he may have caused a death, so far more serious.

But let’s face it: you all don’t have this kind of Wisdom. You want revenge. You hate Conservative White Americans. You want Camps, etc. So don’t be surprised at even more pushback.

Good advice wasted on a fanatical regime. Common sense, pragmatism, and decency are never the driving impulses of the fanatical.

I greatly fear that nothing will halt the march of these cretins towards a genocidal one-party state other than a kinetic response.

Apparently, millions of Americans agree with my assessment, as is evidenced by the ongoing run on firearms, ammo, and prepping gear by millions of Americans who are damned determined not to end up in hastily dug trenches with thousands of others machine-gunned to death by these “Woke” terrorists.

Normal people don’t want a Civil War. Sadly, these weirdos who have somehow seized control of this country are determined to make one happen.

Lars mentions the Clinton versus Obama cliques.

I’m thinking of another big story that hasn’t yet been mentioned today.

The fact that New York State Attorney General Letitia James has come after Governor Andrew Cuomo over his concealment of the true numbers of people who died in New York’s long term care facilities.

All Andrew’s pandering to the far Left doesn’t seem to be doing him any good.

I guess it has always been true that those in The Party can suddenly find themselves outside The Party.
    The question is, why now?

He was well on his way to getting away with contributing to the premature deaths of tens of thousands of people.
    What happened?

    • bluekayak January 29, 2021 at 1:48 pm #

I expect emperor cuomigula to get “primaried” by AG James next year. 4th terms are a curse in NYS — Mario couldn’t snag one and neither could Pataki. The demographics of NYS now guarantee that we’ll never see another non-Democrat Senator or state-wide officeholder, and the democratic party in the state is lurching leftward. I think she may succeed.

    • SW January 29, 2021 at 2:44 pm #

I noticed that too. On the news last night Cuomo wasn’t shown as an enlightened, wise leader stoically fighting covid but as a weasel who sent covid positive patients back to nursing homes. This was complete with the obligatory snippet from the angry daughter who’s “mother would still be alive and Cuomo needs to be investigated.”

My guess is to show everyone in the Party how quickly the tables can turn no matter how important you think you are or how big of a tool you’ve been in their service. Think : East Germany.

  31. MaryV January 29, 2021 at 1:52 pm #

Very astute observations on the current state of things. The capitol ‘riots’ were obviously a false flag to anyone with functioning eyes, ears & ability to reason.

I am wondering if Trump was controlled opposition. Otherwise, I would assume he would be as dead as the 2 suicided cops who were unfortunate enough to be on the scene of the capitol event.

I also wonder if the cop who was killed with a fire extinguisher by a ‘rioter’ was also an intended target. Note that it’s not patriots who hate the police. We know who does.

    • Yohannon January 29, 2021 at 3:02 pm #

There was real anger from the Patriot Boys against the Police towards the end. Their leader has been reveled to be a Fed, but that certainly doesn’t implicate all of them. Anger against the enforcers of a corrupt regime is inevitable.

The Ghoul told an important truth a week or two ago: You pussies can’t even stand behind your own protest. The Left would NEVER disavow its street soldiers. That we are so willing to give an a very important clue as to why we’ve lost. For generations we’ve been throwing “racists” out of our movement. For generations the Democrats have been loving their extremists, they’re most committed members. No enemies to the Left vs nothing but enemies to the Right – how could it have ever turned out differently?

The Dark Truth is that “we” (our Conservative Leaders) accepted the Left as its moral superiors decades ago, knowingly or unconsciously and implicitly. The Revolution proceeded from the Head, down. Whites created America for themselves. That’s the Truth and it’s is simply not OK anymore. Thus America has to be transformed according to the Left. The “Right” reacts by lying about its Past, or desperately trying to appease the Leftist Truth Tellers with affirmative action, putting a Black in charge of the Heritage Foundation, Black Astronauts, etc, all so America doesn’t get cancelled. This just encourages them. The sharks smell blood in the water and they’re in frenzy now.

That being said, sure I would assume they’re were Antifa trying to insure the Capital was breached, as well as Police ordered to open gates and doors. None of this changes the above. Not standing behind our People is the worst kind of politics, that of capitulation. Do you really think they weren’t going to crack down on us sooner or later, probably sooner? With one false flag or another? That if we had been “good” (or too smart too charge in there) that it wouldn’t have come to this? If so, you are wrong.

      • MaryV January 29, 2021 at 3:28 pm #

No, in fact, I have thought that using Orange Man Bad and the show impeachments, they have been crafting the narrative that all conservatives are white supremacists. I know first hand, because I’ve watched it consume higher education, where I work.

I watched Evergreen College’s demise, and that was the model for them all.

White people have to whip themselves with cat-o-nine tails now, and pay obeisance to people of color, and stop talking, and self-hate, to appease them.

It has been obvious to me where this is all going.

        • Yohannon January 29, 2021 at 3:43 pm #

I painted the extreme: the middle term would be Civic Nationalism, but very few are interested in that. Again, the blood in the water. Whites have bowed so low for so long on cue, that the minorities now expect it and want ever more.

And even if we could recalibrate, Whites would have to accept that their view of existence is wrong and that very few Blacks would be in the better Universities or the Professions – or in college at all. Just as no White is ever likely to be the 100 meter or long jump champion.

Trump pandered with the best of them, preparing to offer Blacks, “the Platinum Plan”, trying to outdo Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society. Us? He mentioned us as little as possible – even when he did some wonderful things at the end (ending critical race theory in government and funding and preparing to overhaul the teaching of US history) he didn’t mention Whites per se. We are the Unmentionables, as well as Deplorables and Irredemiables.

Free men aren’t equal. Equal men aren’t free.

If he says yes, he backs you up, readers may draw their own conclusions about his credibility.

Yours, my dear, is already shot. Doesn’t matter how many sycophantic fans you have who admire a hysterical lie told in a worthy cause.

Nailed it. The narcissist has been aroused. Now, we will see all sorts of non-arguments (the only way he? she? can ‘prove’ that the evil pharma companies even ran trials is because Fauci and the evil pharma companies said so). It would seem that most narcissists are drawn to the negative, ugly and cruel liberal/democrat side of the narrative. Because, narcissists are cruel.

You can’t argue with them. I’ve had to deal with a lot of them in my life. This one is textbook. Green Alba, I mean. Maybe the Green is for envy – narcissists are jealous of just about everyone.

I already explained to it (him? her? they? zhe?) that I have a close friend who runs phara trials for a living and has for decades, and that she explained to me in detail how the trials they are claiming they ran are impossible. That is good enough for me, given I am also of the mind that cuckoovirus doesn’t exist in the first place – except as a naturally recurring coronavirus we get every spring.

But the Dem-think is very strong in GA. Much like others of that ilk, trying to reason with them is like trying to have a conversation with a box of cat litter.

My goodness. The convolutions this lady will go to to try to pretend she isn’t a liar. Or a total fruit loop.

Everyone must believe what you say because your ‘friend’ told you. You keep quoting Fauci – why would I give a tinker’s cuss about your Fauci?

Dozens of countries have rolled out their vaccination programmes and you still think it’s all about Dr Fauci. So the regulators of all these countries have also approved the vaccines after Phase 1 trials only. Is that your story? Did Bill Gates twist their arms? Every country?

Mary, your sycophantic friend won’t back you up in your assertion that the regulators approved the vaccines without Phase 2 and 3 trials being carried out.

            He won’t.

Now, you know he’d just love to attempt a total demolition job by backing you up, but he can’t.

His credibility matters to him and he’s not entirely stupid. This isn’t the hill he’s going to choose to die on.

He knows your credibility is shot on this particular matter. So you’re on your own.

I don’t see anyone else laying their credibility on the line for you either. And I don’t see anyone else confirming your nonsense about the vaccine companies depriving deplorables in the southern states of their vaccine.

Where are we with that one, Mary?

Here’s an up-to-date vaccine tracker, Mary, dear. I’m sure you’re intelligent enough to be able to make sense of it.

Last updated 29th Jan. The list at the top is of the vaccines that have been approved. Approved means that they have completed Phase 1-3 trials to the satisfaction of the regulatory authorities (this has to be done in each country where they are to be licensed).

Below that are the vaccines still at the trial stage or still in development. It tells you which trial phase each is at.

Can I help you or your friend with anything else?

The thing is you are still welcome to not like the vaccines, and to try to influence other people to not like the vaccines.

It’s just the lies that are a problem. And your potty mouth of course. But we can live with that. You’re not the first.

I explained my position as well as anyone can, and GA is still taunting and failing to comprehend.

If someone believes that the authoritarian Great Reset monsters like Gates ‘care’ about them, they’ve already lost.

This will be the worst ‘I told you so’ for GA in coming months.

            But… I told you so.

GA has a long record of getting steamrolled here. Particularly where COVID is concerned.

It has more or less reversed all of its positions — and this is easily traceable in the archive.

Note how Herr Professor Doktor Owl will say anything except that he backs you up in your assertion that vaccines have been approved by your regulators without Phase 2 and 3 trials being done (this is the lie that is causing the problem).

If one were that desperate for amusement, it would be hilarious.

“I explained my position as well as anyone can”

Your position is very clear. 🙂

“and GA is still taunting and failing to comprehend.”

GA is not failing to comprehend. She is waiting for some facts, instead of insults and presumptuous nonsense about her interest in Bill Gates or Dr Fauci.

I do not care about Mr Gates, so the idea that he would care about me is somewhat bizarre. If only you would say something relevant.

A simple question requiring a one-word answer. Do it for Mary.

Did the American healthcare regulator approve two Covid vaccines without Phase 2 or 3 trials being completed?

        True words.

Cuckservatives have led us to the National Donnybrook that was 2020.

It started with Bill Buckley and his purge of the JBS people many moons ago.

It’s been all downhill ever since as Conservatism Inc. engaged in endless ideological purges of people on the Right it did not approve of. This is why conservatism has failed.

The only hope left for the descendants of America’s founding stock is to band together in an ethno-nationalist movement that demands separation from this “New Amerika” that none of us are welcome in, nor desire to be a part of.

This country will eventually be partitioned. I’m as convinced of this as I am that this planet orbits around our sun.

Hmmm Pancakes. Where is PETA? Good question, in my area until 4 years ago there was an active Green Party which did some great programs on gardens, being more green. They suddenly disappeared, I asked around and found out that the Democrats were shutting them down at all areas. I found an article in a Conservative Journal, where the National Green Party leaders were complaining that twitter and Facebook was restricting them, and the main press would not cover it. They wanted no distractions in order to get Biden elected, even the Hollywood Greens shut up for Father Biden.

Indeed. From ‘The 5 Minute Forecast’:

“Wall Street On Parade notes this curiosity: Per its most recent 13F SEC filing on Sept. 30, 2020, JPM took a huge long position in GME — “368,196 shares of GameStop versus a put (short position) on a meager 19,300 shares.

“GameStop was a $10.20 stock [on Sep. 30], making JPMorgan’s long position worth $3.8 million. At the intraday high [Thursday], GameStop was a $483 stock. If JPMorgan had sold at the top, it would have made approximately $174 million on its long position.”

‘If anything, the political right-wing of the USA has shown miraculous self-restraint through four years of FBI / DOJ / CIA sedition, tech company tyranny, impeachment chicanery, and the rage-fueled calumnies of Pelosi and Company, all aggravated by questionable Covid-19 lockdowns, and climaxing in a fraud-inflected election that has not been subject to any adequate judicial audit.’ JHK

‘Miraculous self restraint’ was, and is still the problem. Democratic tentacles are now tightly wrapped around all the levers of power, and the anus of the Obama Octopus squirts its black ink into the eyes of its enemies. How formidable, how foul, how dark the day!

Only events and a Great Man to conquer and lead the way through them will change the current situation.

  39. So many liars January 29, 2021 at 4:43 pm #

Monday afternoon of this week I stopped by the local library and picked up four books, World Made by Hand, The Witch of Hebron, History of the Future, and Harrows of Spring.

With the books in the car, I was ready for my next adventure, a Covid test. The virus had been circling around closer and closer. With two close associates confirmed positive, I fully expected to be positive as well. And positive it was. But I had books, so I was prepared for quarantine.

I mentioned to the guy who gathered the testing sample, and later the guy who delivered the test results that I just happened to have some expired HCQ from an old prescription. Each of them expressed disapproval. One of them said, “if you take it, you’re on your own” – whatever that means.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday were a foggy period of alternately sleeping and napping on the couch. Finished book #4 at 11:30 pm, well past my usual bedtime. Interesting series. Some strange stuff too.

My symptoms were mild, some nasal discharge and fatigue, soon followed by loss of appetite and some loss of taste, and a light occasional cough. Then yesterday I began sneezing, with more today and a rougher cough. I feel like my sinuses have become infected. So this morning, I defied the counsel of the men in the lab coats whose names I do not know and I took one 200mg tablet of long-expired HCQ. I think I’ll take another tomorrow.

If I die, my ghost will come back to CFN and blame all of you. Just thought you should know.

      • Night Owl January 29, 2021 at 5:00 pm #

HCQ has been highly effective in treatment and as a prophylactic for decades. Has minor side effects and is cheap.

Thank you for that link. Funny how it’s suddenly very personally interesting now that I have the virus.

    Olympic Rules for Transgender Athletes:

The new guidelines require only that trans woman athletes declare their gender and not change that assertion for four years, as well as demonstrate a testosterone level of less than 10 nanomoles per liter for at least one year prior to competition and throughout the period of eligibility.

Yoho: Did you catch the “only”? Pretty minimal. Full acceptance. The lack of testosterone cannot undo the years that it helped to build the bigger bones and muscles. And what’s to stop them from using T at other times to keep all that up? Or the reverse: taking less of whatever they take to that artificially lowers it?

Not a word about having to go through surgery either. Interesting. Ladies, you have been screwed. Good thing most of you weren’t really (add italics) that interested in all this anyway, only feigning interest for the virtue signal points. But it sure does suck for women who were really interested. And your compassion for them is well founded.

  43. Soul Forensics January 29, 2021 at 5:23 pm #

Someone upthread wondered why so many people get/got duped by the Covid nonsense. That’s easy.

People don’t have the capability, patience, and deductive powers to investigate, dispassionately, the now-extensive information on the nature of this flu variant.

Confirmation bias is easy to come by when TPTB are all aligned to infuse fear into the populace with ever-shifting, and deeper, levels of squirrel shit.

It’s not a problem of ‘confusion’ for otherwise intelligent people, either, in the way of complicated competing narratives.

It’s an emotional and spiritual problem, at root. That is to say, people are scared shitless of dying, thinking it not only an affront to their ego, but a cosmic mistake. Surely, if we can put a few men on the moon and engender a Green Revolution, we can outwit nature!

Well, perhaps in a sick way, we can. Or at least, will be shortly able to. AI is percolating in the background. The uber-rich are financing research to accept their own version of artificial implants — half-borg, half-scumbag — to be able to exist for another 100 years in the same polluted body and mind. But that will necessitate mass death for the vast majority of useless eaters. Ironic, what, that the common personhood puts his or her stock in scientific triumphalism?

The avg lifespan for the U.S. in 1900 was 47 years. In 2000 it was 76. And last year, it was 79. In Canada, the numbers show the identical trajectory, with a longer life of three years in each time frame.

But that’s not enough for the trembling death deniers. Many nowadays express surprise when someone they know kicks off at 82, as if they had their life robbed, that there was some grand malfeasance, God sleeping on the job, or on a more mundane level, hospitals that failed to have enough expensive machines available to ‘save’ them. (Hint: trashed mitochondria don’t care that your heroic exogenous interventions are mildly ameliorative at best, useless or dangerous at worst.)

For older CFNers, remember the Hong Kong Flu of 1968? The lack of fear, even the lack of news about it unless you were in a particularly nasty pocket of an outbreak. And it faded before a vaccine was even ready to go.

I was going to conclude by saying that people will forget about Covid-19 ten years from now, not learning any lessons. But it’s now clear that this is just ‘stage one’ of a number of rolling Covid-like ‘pandemics.’ Covid-panic is just to gauge people’s willingness to cave in to fear and gov’t control. The next iterations will be ramped up more intensely, and most will go along with it, fear, ironically, compromising their immune systems even more for diseases other that Covid-34.

    • Tate January 29, 2021 at 5:49 pm #

“For older CFNers, remember the Hong Kong Flu of 1968?”

Nope, don’t remember it. I was 18 years old then. I heard about it just recently. Back then, people lived. They didn’t exist in protective cocoons.

        “Nope, don’t remember it.”

Same here. I only found out about it after the fact. I was 12. Parents, like all parents then, wanted their kids outside, playing. They didn’t even tell us about it, which I’m grateful for.

Now, kids are conditioned to believe the world is a collection of mausoleums. And soon, pre-schoolers will get the “mind jab.”

And the results of all this political amateurish meddling in the grid are rolling blackouts, brownouts, and raging firest fires.

Trump displayed his usual ‘…just heard a little information about something’ and became an instant expert.

“In Finland, after clear-cutting a forest area, crews use heavy machinery to “rake” or gather tree harvesting residues, tree roots, and other material into huge piles.

Hence, he was actually correct, but of course, really had no idea what he was saying. Actual ‘raking’ between the trees of an existing forest would be ecologically disastrous, affecting all manner of plant, insect & small mammal habitats.

However, that’s not to excuse the clear mismanagement of forests in California, where underutilization of the resource has lead to old, mature & crowded forests.

(…and, it was Finland, benr, not Germany.)

          • Night Owl January 31, 2021 at 5:35 pm #

They do just that in Germany, Maj.

The forest floors here are free of brush and undergrowth. Trump, was correct.

That is an interesting topic. The patterns of destruction from those fires do not appear natural.

I am sure one of our New Normal agents will be along soon enough to provide me with a link to Popular Mechanics to put my concerns to rest.

          • MaryV January 31, 2021 at 5:06 pm #

Hahahahaa! Every crazy conspiracy theory needs a good debunkin’ from Popular Mechanics.

I have no idea if DEW have ever been used or not, but PG&E may as well be considered a DEW for all the death, mayhem, and destruction they’ve caused in the state.

Wasn’t DEW one of the most crackpot theories on the 9/11 WTC destruction, from that nutcase, Dr. Judy Wood? No doubt Night Troll has studied her theory in detail.

I’m Californian and I don’t believe DEW was involved.

I do believe there is a group of people setting them on purpose.
A jihadi manual went into great detail on setting forest fires.
The data of this manual has been scrubbed.
It was captured in the Philippines prior to 9-11 and also included using planes to topple buildings.
It was the Jihadi equivalent of the anarchists cookbook.

          • Night Owl January 30, 2021 at 11:37 am #

Quite possible. Certainly did not appear natural.

          • Yohannon January 30, 2021 at 1:14 pm #

That’s the simplest and most obvious explanation. The Jihadis didn’t have the men on the ground – the Antifa did, being very strong on the West Coast. Nothing just over the border in Canada, same conditions and climate. Political.

But of course, such weapons probably exist now, so it’s not a stupid suggestion, probably just not the right one. I mean they actually caught a couple of the people doing it, though it was hushed up.

          • BackRowHeckler January 30, 2021 at 1:18 pm #

I wouldn’t be in the least surprised if it was Jihadistanis setting fire to them forests. We’ve been dealing with this kind of Jihadistani terrorism inflicted on Israeli forest for decades. The level of hate for the “infidel” by them propagandized Jihadistani fanatics is unbelievable.

    Forest management, ha!

Nature has been taking care of itself very well, thank you for 4 billion years.

Fire is normal! Fire recycles nutrients, Fire takes out dead material, especially old material that cannot handle the droughts.

It is only when stupid human being interpose themselves on nature that problems arise. If you want to live in the woods, you are the same as any tree in those woods, and just as susceptible to fire. If you cannot stand the heat, pun intended, stay away from fire.

Blame PG&E for houses burning, that is a crock. They are spending so much money on BS renewables that they cannot build and maintain adequate reliable power networks into those woods. A product of BS liberal politics in California.

IMHO, the people of these states deserve what they are getting. Hope their insurance is paid up to date.

Something to think about, the old woods, like the Smokies are weakening, with shorter thinner trees. I wonder if the problem isn’t that when we take out all the underbrush and dead material, we are not removing the nutrients for the next generation.

    • benr January 30, 2021 at 10:42 am #

The natural cycle for some Coniferous trees require fire to burst open the cones and spread the pine tree seeds.

      Thus you have been educated.
Note low intensity fires don’t harm the trees but rather help them.
Mans insistence in getting involved has caused damage.

      • JohnAZ January 30, 2021 at 11:03 am #

Man’s insistence in getting involved has just about driven the world into another great extinction. I am not talking about AGW either.

Just look at the declining animal kingdom from top to bottom, declining pollinators, extinctions occurring constantly, forests disappearing and weakening, oceans full of plastic and garbage, overfishing, even declining birth rates and sperm counts in humans. Some people would even say the rise of the LBGTQ populations is nature’s way of dealing with our no. 1 coming disaster

        Overpopulation, and its consequence, pollution.

I notice that there is not one single political proposition in existence to address this problem.

        • JohnAZ January 30, 2021 at 11:08 am #

          I remember,

The only way to control overpopulation is the convince folks that dying is more fun than screwing.

A really scary situation is to let nature take care of it, Nature is not kind at all.

“dying is more fun than screwing.”

‘It’s an emotional and spiritual problem, at root. That is to say, people are scared shitless of dying, thinking it not only an affront to their ego, but a cosmic mistake. Surely, if we can put a few men on the moon and engender a Green Revolution, we can outwit nature!’

‘But that’s not enough for the trembling death deniers. Many nowadays express surprise when someone they know kicks off at 82, as if they had their life robbed, that there was some grand malfeasance, God sleeping on the job, or on a more mundane…..’ SF

Most people accept the inevitability of death quite well, and most people recognize the preciousness of life, even with the issues of old age. I think that you’re inaccurately describing the will to live, the desire to survive, that inborn imperative for life to go on.

Whether one is 42 or 102, the will to live is still there. This does not mean that people are ‘scared shitless of dying’. They are simply following the life force. It would be a spiritual and emotional problem if one did not want to live, but rather wanted to die.

You’re clinging to life. It’s normal, but not good or admirable. In Buddhism it’s called “trishna”. Check out Demi Moore’s attempt at a pout:

Spiritually, this is what old people clinging to life look like. You think death is the end, so of course you’re terrified. This is the end result of materialism.

    • Soul Forensics January 30, 2021 at 2:46 pm #

“Most people accept the inevitability of death quite well.” –tusconspur

This is false, both historically, and from what should be obvious to anyone who experiences the words and deeds of those over sixty.

I urge anyone interested in the topic to read Philippe Aries’ Western Attitudes Towards Death: From the Middle Ages to the Present (1974). In it, Aries describes a series of rituals and emotional reactions to the fact of death for oneself (impending), in the family, and in the community.

Death was recognized as a natural act, accepted stoically. People, of course, were closer to the natural life cycles of earth, of life and dying and death. They slaughtered their animals themselves, accepted the necessity of death to allow new life to exist and flourish. When one of their own died, instead of painting lipstick on grandma in a hideous, garish display of current efforts to “defeat” death, to “defang” it, they had their four-year-old daughters attend the funeral, look into the coffin (always open), and observe grandma with mottled grey cheeks, with cuts, dark spots, creased wrinkles, and the pungent odours emanating from the unlined box. “That’s your fate, too,” was the unstated message to the kids. “Better get used to it now.”

Get a disease back then? Accepted. Dealt with. Relatives sitting by the dying family member. Talking factually about new family arrangements right away. Now? Shopping for fifteen different doctors in an attempt to get a better diagnosis, or to undergo untested, experimental therapy which, more often than not, causes a boatload of side effects, including, but not limited to, becoming a zombie and, in many cases, dying with extreme indignity, loved ones separated from the dying physically (look at how many families don’t even attend the grim hospitals where their loved ones deteriorate), and mentally (their loved ones are vegetables).

I mean, Christ, just look at any second commercial on the idiot box: “answers” for erectile dysfunction, hemorrhoids, teeth that are less than brilliant white, dyspepsia, athlete’s foot, sore muscles, constipation. Breast implants, collagen-laced lips, and a million-and-one diets that’ll have you “lose 40 pounds in 40 days.” Think those concerns were even on the radar for those born in 1700? Should they have been?

We have not only a visceral distaste for old people now, but a concealed and not so concealed hatred of them. They’re a constant reminder of our common fate if we also make to 70, 80, 90. So we “disappear” old people. They’re either portrayed, culturally, as nagging, ineffectual old men with early-stage Alzheimer’s, or sassy, whiskey-guzzling women with a raspy cough and a swear word for everyone. In other words, caricatures. Even in the 1930s and 1940s, many old men were portrayed as wise, or at least dignified. Women, too. Now we shuffle them offstage, or make them into cartoons, unreal and to be laughed at.

I could go on in much more detail, but this is already too long.

It’s all about ego. We think we should exist forever. It’ll probably happen, but not for us. Science is on board. A very small cadre of 300 year-old evil semi-cyborgs ruling over a mass of those who slave in fields, without family, and who’ll die at 30 when they’re used up.

      • BackRowHeckler January 30, 2021 at 6:54 pm #

2°F in this valley right now. Must be pretty cold out of the Vineyard too, where part of my family on my mother’s side originated from. The Climate Czar — John Kerry — is probably not at his seaside mansion on Martha’s Vineyard right now as he owns 5 other mansions (and a Gulfstream IV to get to them), each one I’m sure toasty warm and brightly lit. So how is it he could sit in his study scheming to choke off the US natgas and oil supply, and dismantle our national grid, based upon ‘THE CLIMATE EMERGENCY’ when the temp outside his window stands at 0, and a massive snowstorm is blowing in on Monday? And if “sea level rise” is such a pressing threat, why would Kerry and Obama spend $15 million each on mansions on an Island in the NAtlantic, literally, right on the beach?

I’ll go out on a limb and state right here if Kerry’s (The Climate Czar) interference in coal, oil and natgas supplies drives up prices and creates shortages, and his f#kkg around with the grid (shutting down power plants, hooking sh#t up to unreliable windmills) plenty of juice will exist to keep his 6 mansions lit up like Christmas trees, cool in the summer, and warm in the winter. And don’t worry about the 75 ft motoryacht and the Gulfstream IV there will be plenty of fuel to keep those going too.

If Climate Czar, John “Horseface” Kerry, can stop the climate catastrophe on the horizon he’ll be able to keep an extra three feet of sand in front of his 10,000 sq. ft. beach front home.

Commissar of Climate Police — John Kerry — will be sending around his young, enthusiastic ‘Green Enforcers’ to check thermostats, and every other goddam thing you’re doing.

And get ready for “the EV mandate”. RIP, Green Enforcers will be showing up at your place with an electric power tow truck, put the hook to your big 8 cyl energy sucking GM behemoth, drop off a little electric power sh#tbox golfcart for you to drive around Mass. in.

        And you’ll like it.

        6 mansions, SSL,

The Climate Czar is so worried about polar ice melting and the seas rising that two of his manses are seaside, maybe about $40 million invested in waterfront property.

        • SoftStarLight January 30, 2021 at 7:42 pm #

I would guess $40 million is just a bit of change for the czar. That and he probably knows that sea levels are actually falling so his investments will be safe.

I don’t profess to be a low energy user comparatively to most “average” people and as such I never expect people who use less energy than I do. I’d be a hypocrite if i did.

At the same time I do not pay attention to any of the elite who virtue signal the world with their “climate emergency” histrionics when I know they personally consume hundreds of times more energy than the average person. When they reduce their energy usage to my level then I’ll listen to what they say. 10,000 sq. ft home(s), private jets, yachts, green manicured lawns in the desert, and on and on tell me that they do not believe what they preach.

After living in Minnesota for 5 years in the 80s, and keeping in touch with good friends, I can attest:

After digging to a depth of 10 feet last year outside Buffalo, New York, scientists found traces of copper cable dating back 100 years. They came to the conclusion that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years ago.

Not to be outdone by the New Yorkers, in the weeks that followed, a Los Angeles, California, archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet somewhere just outside Oceanside. Shortly afterward, a story in the LA Times read, “California archaeologists, reporting a finding of 200 year old copper cable, have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network a hundred years earlier than the New Yorkers.”

One week later, a local newspaper in St. Paul, Minnesota, reported, “After digging 30 feet in his pasture near the community of Lake City, Minnesota, Ole Olson, a heck of an engineer and a self-taught archaeologist, and his friend Sven, reported that they found absolutely nothing. Ole has therefore concluded that 300 years ago, “Minnesota had already gone wireless.”

“His predictions have all the accuracy of a wishful thinking astrologer.”

I think this is a mis-statement of the reality. A lot of people (some far more rabid than JHK has ever been), including Trump devotees, believed that the general election was either rigged before Nov 3, or stolen after Nov 3 – or at least sufficiently manipulated at the local level to give Biden his win.

And then, many of those people (without having to be QAnon nutters) believed that Trump desperately wanted to win, and that he had both the chutzpah and/or wherewithal to overturn the result with either legal or extra-legal tactics, up to and including military force.

Many people were astonished that the US Supreme Court abandoned Trump at critical points, and that Republican state officials defended their results at critical points.

Then along came the storming of Congress on Jan 6, and basically all talk about – and moves against – the slow-grinding election win for Biden were out the window.

I am not in the school that believes the election was rigged and stolen by the Democrats, but I can understand why those who do are totally frustrated that things just plodded along towards an inevitable swearing-in of the Biden-Harris team.

Look how much VP Mike Pence was vilified just for playing his only lawful role.

Call it the deep state, or control from Beijing, the Illuminati, or even alien laser beams – the reality is that the system won, and the election has been settled. It is not surprising that a lot of people believed it was going to take a different – and far more dramatic – path.

JHK is far from Robinson Crusoe in this … and anyway his bi-weekly posts are always an interesting read, whatever actually happens.

And finally – I don’t like Joe Biden for a lot of reasons, but I think it’s a mistake to write him off as a sock puppet, propped up in a chair with comfy cushions and controlled by others.

Blacks do not get it. The more they push for government subsidy the more the White push back will happen. White Supremacy is the result of Black arrogance. If things keep going in the direction they are now, Reds will soon secede and “politely” ask the Blacks to leave the Red zone. Remember Gandhi and India?

In the 1860s and 70s, the pushing of Black arrogance promoted by White abolitionists caused the rise of Bedford Forrest and his white hooded White Supremacists. The White abolitionists today are called Democrats, using the Blacks to promote their political ambitions.

Blacks are 13% of the population in the US, they are “guests” of the European common culture. Their job is to fit in, use the culture to better themselves and make their kid’s world a better place. Not to change the US to the sorry state that Blacks are in today.

One example, their job is to cooperate with the police especially in Black areas where crime rates deserve tighter police monitoring. ALL of the Black incidents are caused by smart ass men challenging police that are taught to react with deadly force when confronted. Drugs are almost always involved.

Anti-vaxxers have a big problem when enough people listen and stop getting flu shots, or MMR, or polio, or Herpes Zoster. When society drops below herd immunity levels, and the viruses come roaring back, folks will be selling their souls to get vaccines.

Anti vaxx sounds great, as long as herd immunity by everyone else getting the shot is maintained. Thank all the folks getting the vaccines for your ability to not have to.

Being afflicted with polio or any other disease is not a lottery. There’s a reason for it. Nothing happens by chance. The reason is NOT because that someone wasn’t vaxxxed by pharmaco products. That real reason and the real science remains a suppressed mystery to fascist schooled ignoramuses, because all they know and all they can imagine is the garbage and deceit that’s fed to them by the Vatican/CIA mafia.

Mercury has been taken out of vaccines. Well it certainly has over here.

If people can’t reconcile themselves to the debunking of the MMR-autism story, discrete vaccinations exist against the three diseases involved. I’m sure parents in that category don’t mind the extra dollars.

Their children will spend a longer time unprotected, because of the stringing out of the process, but some protection is better than none.

Thimerosal was used to prevent the growth of bacteria in vaccines that contained more than one dose. It was/is easily eliminated from the body very quickly, so had no time to build up to harmful levels. The threat was theoretical, like that from the small number of mercury fillings I’m still chomping on 50 years later (mercury vapour is more of a risk and I daresay I’ve breathed in some of that too when the odd filling was replaced).

          • akmofo January 31, 2021 at 6:37 pm #

            Mrs Green,

I’m pretty sure you’re wrong about this.

Why was mercury with other poisons and carcinogens put in?
Have damages been paid to those that were subjected to this poison bio-weapon? And if not, why not?
Btw, you are aware that these heavy metals are inherited from one generation to the next? It fscks up families for multiple generations.

“Btw, you are aware that these heavy metals are inherited from one generation to the next? ”

“In the US, UK and Europe, thiomersal was removed from vaccines as a precaution. This was in line with the global goal of reducing environmental exposure to mercury from all sources. However, there was no evidence that thiomersal in vaccines caused harm. Thiomersal contains a compound called ethyl mercury, but concern about mercury in the environment has centred on a different compound called methyl mercury, which accumulates in the food chain and in the human body.

“A study from 2008 showed that the ethyl mercury in thiomersal does not appear to accumulate in the bodies of even very small babies. It is cleared from the blood in 30 days, and the evidence suggests that it is passed out in the baby’s stool […]”

‘Spiritually, this is what old people clinging to life look like. You think death is the end, so of course you’re terrified. This is the end result of materialism.’ Y

You hide your fear of death well, hiding behind fantastic religious fabrications, using them like a drug to calm your fears and treat your terror. The abyss frightens you to death, thus you turn to the unreal. Reality is too much for you. You cower before it.

It’s natural to be afraid. Don’t hide from it. The difference between us is that I acknowledge both the reality of death and my fear of it. And then, I seek (and often find) Supernatural aid. As a materialist, you are naturally terrified. Only a fairly rare type of man can be calm at the prospect of approaching non-existence. You are not so chosen!

      • GreenAlba January 31, 2021 at 1:12 pm #

Why would you be freaked out by your non-existence? You were non-existent for billions of years and not freaked out by it.

Now, if someone were to tell you you were going to be tortured for eternity by a ‘loving’ God because he couldn’t forgive you for not being convinced he existed, that would be a different matter, and people not convinced either way might be very justifiably freaked out.

But simple non-existence? What’s scary about that? You’d be no more aware of your non-existence than a dried-out Covid virus dead on that mask you left in a pocket for three weeks and forgot about.

As immortal beings who have somehow gotten involved in mortality, we naturally long for the former and dread the latter. Your argument is an old one. The Epicureans used it in ancient Greece, as have many throughout the ages. It doesn’t satisfy and it doesn’t help many. Maybe you are one of the rare “dry” ones it does help. It is rational of course, makes sense and has some linear sensible truth to it.

I eschew the doctrine of Eternal Hell – as did one of Lewis’ influences, George MacDonald. But Lewis converted and went orthodox, and I assume he came to accept it. Hope I’m wrong since it does mitigate against the doctrine of a supremely good and compassionate God.

It does indeed, as you were honest enough to admit a previous time as well.

What is most appalling is that all you have to do is to not be convinced by a complete lack of evidence and you’re down there with Pol Pot, Genghis Khan and Ted Bundy.

Non-existence sounds very nice by comparison.

Well that’s the Semitic all or nothing, our way or the highway attitude. I rebelled against it by turning to the East. I don’t like it. It’s problematic as Hirsi Ali says.

But Roman Catholicism is the Tradition I was born into – the karma of my birth. And it is “a” (not the) Path to God. Did you ever discern (experience) the real Presence in the Eucharist? By God’s grace, I do on a regular basis. Thank you, Lord.

Maybe the C of E doesn’t have the real Eucharist and thus you never got the chance.

Anyway, it’s amazing. Not everything wonderful is long ago or far to the East. It’s as near as the nearest Catholic Church, every day, not just on Sundays. That’s something. Oh, that’s something indeed.

“Most people accept the inevitability of death quite well.” –tusconspur

‘This is false, both historically, and from what should be obvious to anyone who experiences the words and deeds of those over sixty.’ SF

It is not false. We all succumb to the ravages of age. Some complain about it more than others, which is only natural. It is just the ‘life force’ expressing itself. I guess the people I know are braver than the ones you know.

Civilization itself is a denial of death, says Ernest Becker:

The premise of The Denial of Death is that human civilization is ultimately an elaborate, symbolic defense mechanism against the knowledge of our mortality, which in turn acts as the emotional and intellectual response to our basic survival mechanism. Becker argues that a basic duality in human life exists between the physical world of objects and a symbolic world of human meaning.

Thus, since humanity has a dualistic nature consisting of a physical self and a symbolic self, we are able to transcend the dilemma of mortality through heroism, by focusing our attention mainly on our symbolic selves.

This symbolic self-focus takes the form of an individual’s “immortality project” (or “causa sui project”), which is essentially a symbolic belief-system that ensures one’s self is believed superior to physical reality.

By successfully living under the terms of the immortality project, people feel they can become heroic and, henceforth, part of something eternal: something that will never die as compared to their physical body. This, in turn, gives people the feeling that their lives have meaning, a purpose, and are significant in the grand scheme of things.

Immortality projects are one way that people manage death anxiety. Some people, however, will keep themselves drunk or use drugs (or religion, my words) to escape their anxiety in the face of death.[3] Others will try to manage the terror of death by ignoring the problem and by “tranquilizing oneself with the trivial” (a term Becker borrowed from Kierkegaard). Becker describes the success of the Christian world picture as being able to take “slaves, cripples… the simple and the mighty” and turn them into heroes of their own story by looking beyond this world to the heavenly realm.

“I guess the people I know are braver than the ones you know.” — tusconspur

That’s rather presumptuous, which you even admit to with your “I guess” starter. The reason I concentrated on the historical angle is to take it out of the realm of anecdote — my N=1 experience vs your N=1 experience — which gets us nowhere.

I’m 64, and I believe, from what you’ve stated elsewhere, that you’re older. We’ve both, then, experienced hundreds, and probably thousands, of encounters with elderly people. their fears, their desires, their defenses. Many times, we have, also, to read between the lines. Brave, self-flattering fronts. “Hey, I just want to be happy and slide into my grave sideways instead of fading away!” Then you find out that they freak out about non-organic food or (currently) shoppers without masks.

Actions speak louder than words. I referenced TV ad execs who get paid big bucks by instilling fear into viewers that they need to buy x product to avoid y disease, or to look younger, which, symbolically transparent, is just a wish to avoid aging (death). 97% of North American households have at least one TV. They aren’t sitting in the living room corner, unused, because they’re aesthetically beautiful. Despite the invention and — 20 or so years ago — widespread use of the internet, TV watching has increased from the late 1980s to the present from 3.5 hours per day to 4 hours per day. (I include netflix and related sites in the mix.) Without going into chicken and egg questions — do ads initiate viewers’ behaviour, or do they just tune into already existing fears? (I believe the latter) — there’s no dispute that they work.

There’s also no dispute that our ontological assessments and conclusions, as a species, have been transformed drastically over the past few centuries, so much so that it’s altered our basic concept of death. As already stated, death was simply acknowledged as a reality to take in, like any other. There wasn’t the fear, distaste, wishing to alter its arrival. If I were to indulge in filling in more space, I could’ve provided many more examples. Then there’s the even-now holdover attitudes towards death we see in non-Western countries that accept death on its own terms: burning ghats, rituals of death meditation, and so on.

Your response is basically an abstract theory or philosophy by one person, without historical buttressing. Civilization is a complicated topic, not one amenable to grand theories without getting into messy temporal details. I don’t have a problem with civilization as a “response to our basic survival mechanism.” Who would be so churlish as to not acknowledge, let alone champion, the scientific and technological advances involved in, for example, extending life and health circa 1900 and on?

But I’m talking about spiritual attitudes. What does it matter if we live to be 150, if we do so in defiance and, yes, fear of our collective fate?

      Worm food!

(Or if cremated, a smudge of ash.)

On a happier note, a 20 year old nephew who’s been staying with us for the past 6 months or so is finishing up an 18 month machinist/tool & die maker course in a few weeks; he’s getting multiple job offers from all over the state and surrounding states. A recruiter even came to the house and met with the kid a few days ago. All the manufacturing here is for the DOD, P&W Aircraft, Sikorsky Helicopters, General Dynamics Submarines, Colt to name a few. I’m taking a little credit for this because I talked him out of going to State U when he got out of HS (Do you want to end up like me?), steered him toward vocational school.

Very nice. My dad is tool & die maker. It’s a good job, but doesn’t pay much.

      • elysianfield January 31, 2021 at 12:30 am #

A Journeyman tool and die maker, even today, makes a good living wage in the US…$70K plus. Skilled labor…highly skilled.

Akmofo I know you have skilled machinists in Israel I have a carbine called a Timberwolf’ made by IMI in Tel Aviv. It’s pump action .357 cal., possesses a very high standard of manufacture, fit and finish, and operation.

The one I have was made in the late 80s. I was lucky to get it as this model is no longer being manufactured.

        • akmofo January 31, 2021 at 10:25 am #

My dad too worked for the IMI, making updated new parts for refurbished old weapons systems. He’s now retired from the IMI, but continues working for a private company making parts for the aviation industry. Basically, he’s teaching the young guns at the plant the skill of the trade.

You should check out this sweet Israeli gadget. Never miss a shot again:

Smart. Here, the Germans have an obsession with Ausbildung and degrees, but lots of them never go anywhere, despite being highly educated. Lots of helicopter parents who obsess over grades, progress, and teachers, starting as early as “Kita.”

Reality is, the most consistent work is in trades. Builders and craftsman make a killing over here, and they can fix all of their own shit.

    • Rulo Deschamps January 31, 2021 at 6:24 pm #

Heckler, “Do you want to end up like me?” is blunt, but you made the right call. Much better than college. I wanted my son to try something like that, but he had his own mind, worked hard in HS & got a scholarship. Medicine. One of the few fields I think a U education is worth it.
It’s long and hard to get that degree, and if he can’t, he knows his best bet is to train in a skilled trade. Of course I have my fingers crossed he’ll make it to doc.
Best of luck to your young nephew.

from George Magazine December 1996 pg. 31

Tom Brokaw, Anchor of NBC Nightly News

“The night that Ronald Reagan was elected, we had a large map behind us, and for every state Reagan won, we colored it blue; and every state Jimmie Carter won, we colored it red. Well, there was this kind of inexorable march of blue across the electorial map as Reagan won one state after another…. Brinkly came on late, and we said, ‘David, what do you think?’ He turned around and looked at that map with all the blue. And he turned back and said, ‘America looks like a sea of suburban Californa swimming pools tonight.’ ”

    Who can anticipate my question?

    • Yohannon January 30, 2021 at 7:54 pm #

I have no idea what your question is. I knew they switched the colors but I’m not sure when. Shortly after that, perhaps? Why? To confuse people I assume. Red is naturally the color of Communism. And Blue is naturally a calm, conservative color. So reverse them! The Tavistock Institute in England specialize in this kind of mind fucking.

Here’s a good one: look at all the Presidential photos up to Carter. All serious looks. Carter felt the need to smile hideously. The first!

I offered you a similar factoid to your red/blue conundrum, but with a side helping of mild humour (especially since the sprog in his pink frock looks like a weird little fecker with his riding crop).

Little boys were indeed dressed in pink. Before that they were dressed in white, as were little girls, because nobody had got into colour coding kids before that.

Though I have read much of JHK’s material over the years I am new to this site and as such have just read/skimmed through the hundreds of comments here for the first time. Some good insights and observations and a big heaping of anger at the mess we’re in with little in the way of a path back to some semblance of a sane society.

I don’t see Civil War II happening. It just isn’t, at least not with the current state of affairs. It is nowhere near bad enough for large numbers of people to have reached the point of having nothing left to lose.

I do see a dark cloud descending upon freedom of thought and speech in the near term, and a few other freedoms too. The Dems seem determined to go scorched earth as they act out their anger and frustration at losing in 2016.

The reckoning and rebirth of the country so to speak isn’t going to happen until something really bad happens, bad enough to make people realize that the current differences are unimportant in the face of that new reality. Sort of like people stop bitching about potholes when the town gets hit with a natural disaster of some sort and potholes suddenly become the least of their worries.

Of course that rebirth isn’t likely to look like anything we’d recognize today.

I have no idea what that bad thing will be or when but the current D vs R wars will continue until that point. War with China? The grid is taken down? Collapse of the economy? Some Black Swan event we’ve not even contemplated?

Until then, unhappy as I might be with the direction things are going in, I will live my life and focus on that which I can control.

“Of course that rebirth isn’t likely to look like anything we’d recognize today.”

There is a theory that every 80 years (a “saeculum” cycle) there is a major change in America. The first was 1785 (Revolution-Constitution), the second 1865 (Civil War ends), the third 1945 (WWII ends), and the fourth (2025) is coming due.

It is characterised by existing systems, institutions, economic structures, plus social/cultural relations, proving tired and inadequate, and a new set is born – built on the old but very different. There is a new beginning, and America emerges better for it.

This time however, as JHK has discussed for years, we are facing societal hyper-complexity (and vulnerability), millions of people who cannot be usefully engaged or employed, and resource crises in just about every direction in which you look.

Throw in climate, race, immigration, and Covid-19 as well. Could prove interesting.

And I agree that in the big picture, it matters not very much who won between Trump and Biden, and it might not matter too much who wins in 2024 either – unless someone with a huge mandate and a lot of solutions appears. Could be from either the left or the right.

      • JohnAZ January 31, 2021 at 10:44 am #

In other words, you agree that the social problems are so big, that there is no political system that can help. You have shown that you are listening at least to the impact of this blog. JHK prophesying since 2005 has been right on as we watch our society decay from within, regardless of who is president.

The acute ascent of the gimme state is what is causing the current rapid decline. Illegals and bum education are the direct causes of the increasing gimme population. As every gimme person is a Dem vote, I do not anticipate changes anytime soon. The one Dem proposal that will finally flush America down the toilet is the offering of citizenship to all illegals in a few years. 11 million is probably 30+ million and will permanently change the demographics of the country. The load on the country of supporting 30+ million more gimme folks will be enormous, unsupportable and fatal.

Oh, I have an idea. Let us put the minimum wage up to $1000 a month for every citizen, UBI!! When the corporations shift their headquarters to China to avoid the taxes, where is all this welfare money going to come from? Suggestions trolls?

“Let us put the minimum wage up to $1000 a month for every citizen, UBI!! When the corporations shift their headquarters to China to avoid the taxes, where is all this welfare money going to come from?”

          Exactly, John.

I want to add that small business owners will have to lay off staff down to a skeleton crew just to pay the “minimum” wage to one or two essentials. Many businesses will simply fold.

And of course prices will go up, as well, hurting everyone. McDonald’s, through sheer volume and razor-thin margins (at $30* for a junk burger), might stay alive, but Joe ‘N’ Flo’s down the street will get buried.

The State is coming after Lin Wood now, via “mental health”. Same as in the old Soviet Union.

Nick Sandman has fired him. Can’t blame him of course. Wood said he may have been pressured by the McConnell people since he worked in his reelection campaign. Young Sandman may be ambitious, after having had a taste of fame. But McConnell? Young Sandman has terrible taste – or he is ambitious enough to put aside his scruples, if any. Let’s hope he is just too young to know better. But he did wear the MAGA hat once upon a time…..

    • Redneck Liberal January 31, 2021 at 4:05 am #

      Mental health my butt!

The man was appropriately afraid of the fiasco of Deep State takeover that is currently unfolding.

To be Mentally affected, al one has to do is disagree with the goons in charge right now. Can you imagine idiot Pelosi trying to throw out elected representative only because they have R behind their name.

      These Deep Staters are deadly.

      What if?

What if Trump fires up a new party, a new media conglomeration, and new internet search engines and social media. What do you think the Dems are going to do to try to stop him? It will not be pretty.

Secession, the only peaceful alternative. The reference guide for the Red states will be the US Constitution. The reference guide for the Blues will be The Communist Manifesto.

I would bet on the Blues collapsing within six months under the weight of urban gimmes overwhelming their system. Sorta like Venezuela.

I listened to him on Rumble: Intensely noble, romantic, and religious. This guy is a Confederate general – Stonewall Jackson come again. My admiration is undiminished but my faith in the “Cause”, is. He is by no means crazy. He even has a measure of humility, admitting he was wrong about the timing of the counter-coup. But he has no doubt that it is coming. He needs that to be true – it’s part of who he is. His nobility demands it, as does his faith.

He was wrong about Barr being a patriot as well. He projected onto him. He may be wrong about Trump as well – not that I put Trump in the same category as Barr.

He is a compelling man. Other people (like Mike Adams) listen to him and believe – but with less humility than he himself has perhaps. Adams passes it on, etc. The story grows in the telling.

From Nurse Claire to Ann Barnhardt anent the so called covid vaccine:

    Dearest Ann,

Now that the COVID vaccines have been in use for nearly 6 weeks, I thought I would check in & let you know what I’ve seen and heard.

As you & your readers know, the only two vaccines for COVID on the market (Pfizer & Moderna) utilize the new mRNA technology. Both “jabs” are being administered only under Emergency Use Authorization, not full FDA approval. One can make the argument that these shots are truly experimental. Zero long term studies have been conducted; therefore, no healthcare provider can tell you these are safe because we just don’t know. There’s lots of speculation, though, about effects on fertility as well as the potential for ADE (antibody-dependent enhancement). I cannot speak definitively about those things but what I can report is the side effects I’ve already seen.

Your readers have probably read media reports about the Miami OB/GYN who bled to death after his platelet count dropped precipitously following his first Pfizer vaccine dose. I can report that my colleagues across the country have seen similar scenarios (not necessarily ending in death). Numerous professional acquaintances have reported reduced platelet counts & enlarged spleens secondary to this vaccine, most likely related to a preservative, PEG (polyethylene glycol) present in both the Moderna and Pfizer shots. I predict we will see more of these sorts of reactions as the number of vaccinations increases (as well as anaphylaxis).

The people I personally work with have reported the following: profuse diarrhea, vertigo, facial numbness, facial nerve pain, arm pain, reduced mobility in the arm, extreme fatigue bordering on exhaustion, muscle aches, fever (some as high as 102 & 103 degrees), hives at the injection site (curiously this seems to be a delayed reaction occurring 8 days post-vaccination). I have one coworker whose vomiting was so severe she required hospitalization with IV fluid administration. Another colleague developed atrial fibrillation, and this is not the only incident of that that I have heard of. Several colleagues throughout the U.S have reported cardiac arrhythmias after the vaccine. A family member who is an RN in another city told me 75% of the people she knows who received the Moderna vaccine were very sick the next day and most of them could not work.

Of course, these are anecdotal reports but keep in mind these vaccines have only been in use for 6 weeks so anecdotal reports are all we have. The VAERS website (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) is also a source of information your readers can use. It, too, is anecdotal because it’s a self-reporting tool for patients as well as healthcare providers to report adverse events following vaccine administration. I’ve seen social media trolls trying to discourage people from visiting the VAERS website because it’s a self-reporting website. But remember, it is maintained by both the CDC and FDA to track adverse vaccine-related events. Read thru it and decide for yourself. Thus far, VAERS shows 181 deaths following COVID vaccination and nearly 8,000 occurrences of side effects severe enough to limit one’s activities of daily living.

Vaccine recipients (many of whom are healthcare providers themselves) are being told these side effects are “good” and show “that the immune system is working in response to the shot”. Can we please have some logic? I’ve learned in life that if something defies common sense, almost without exception its rubbish. Vomiting is not good…it’s a defense mechanism, the body’s way of rejecting something. Vomiting in response to this vaccine should not be chalked up to “good” and a positive sign. What stunning buffoonery on the part of those believing this lie! I’m sad to see how far we’ve fallen; the gaslighting of anyone who dares question this narrative is very real.

I don’t want to speculate or put out wild conspiracy theories, but yesterday I received an email from my employer that went out to all patient care providers in our health system. The email detailed an entire set of guidelines and protocols that have been developed to rapidly identify, triage, and treat people who may be suffering an allergic reaction to either of the COVID vaccines. If reactions are as rare as we are being told, then why is this necessary? If the allergic reactions are typical of other medication allergic reactions, why does a different set of standards exist? All things to make you wonder?

Regarding the ADE I mentioned earlier – the antibody dependent enhancement; Many scientists (almost all have been silenced & deplatformed) speculate that this vaccine will cause an enhanced response to the virus, meaning the antibodies produced will respond in a life-threatening manner when one is exposed to the v
