For now, the public seems to want nothing more than to breathe a little easier — that is without masks on our faces after a year of Covid-19 paranoia — and attempt to return to something like normal life. It’s like an “all-clear” siren went off the past week and a consensus swept the land that can be summed up as we’re done with that. There were zero cases of Covid-19 in my upstate New York county the past week and now the few people going around still-masked begin to look a little like whack-jobs acting out a stupid morality play.

The official Covid-19 narrative took quite a beating last month, but the bottom line of it all is hardly reassuring. The main theme of the narrative was the insistence by public health authorities at the highest level, staunchly supported by the compliant news media, that the disease did not originate in the Wuhan, China, virology lab. They kept the story going all year. Then, just days ago, the narrative flipped and is suddenly accepted as self-evident: of course, the virus came out of the Wuhan lab! (Jon Stewart shouted this out right in Stephen Colbert’s contorted face on TV.) Dr. Fauci’s email trail says as much, along with videos of his colleague Peter Daszak bragging on it as far back as 2012, with plenty of supporting evidence from various Chinese scientists.

But the flip-flop on Wuhan leaves some extremely uncomfortable questions that the nation is too distracted (or dishonest) to debate in the public forum, the public forum these days being mostly social media: Twitter and Facebook. And it’s not altogether clear whether they will continue to suppress discussion about the origin of the virus, and issues arising out of that — though they risk looking tyrannically obtuse if they keep up the gaslighting. And in these sorry years of anything goes and nothing matters, Zuck and Jack may never have to answer for their craven deeds.

The biggest question that the authorities want to evade is: if the virus did originate from the Wuhan lab, was it released by accident… or on purpose? The “Joe Biden” government is now forced to, at least, pretend that it will investigate. My guess is: they don’t want to know. It would raise enough subsidiary questions to leave a normal person panting with nausea. For instance: was China trying to soften-up the USA by disabling our economy? And soften us up… for what? Some observers who are hardly dumb or crazy think that China wants to reduce the USA to a vassal nation that can only supply China with food, oil, and other resources.

Sound far-fetched? Maybe. After all, we still have that fleet of submarines armed with multiple-warhead nuclear missiles circulating around the oceans as a kind of insurance policy. But Americans have to do something to make a living, and it sure isn’t going to be mass production of consumer goods, like in the old days. Meanwhile, the infrastructure of the service economy got gutted during the lockdowns — millions of businesses bankrupted, restaurants, yoga studios, concert venues, dog groomers, shops of all kinds, you name it — gone, and a lot of the people who took livelihoods from all that are financially ruined for good.

What’s left? Health care and pharma, two odious rackets preying on the psychological weakness of people so beaten down by adversity that they can only console themselves with junk food, liquor, sexual debauchery, and drugs, and then must beg the health care system to fix them — after which it squashes them to death with outlandish charges for services rendered? Or government, another reprehensible racket, seeking desperately now to control its citizens’ every move while everything it does is not only running wildly out of control, but via the most idiotic, suicidal policies — such as throwing the border with Mexico wide open to all comers, while it pays Americans to not work.

The leading government policy just now is to hector, browbeat, and coerce Americans to get vaxed-up with vaccines that appear to be pretty hazardous. The Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines so far (which is not very far) have produced more deaths and adverse events than all the other vaccines for all other diseases developed in the past thirty years, and we have no idea what the long-term effects will be of a spike protein that likes to damage blood vessels, brains, and reproductive organs. That’s another thing the news and social media don’t want the public to inform themselves about, not to mention the scientifically-based opinion that vaccinating a populace in the middle of an epidemic is pretty certain to provoke the evolution of new and more dangerous variants of the disease agent.

For now, all these mighty issues stand aside while Americans enjoy some early summer days of liberation from a long nightmare. Coincidentally, the Democratic Party has just now engineered two separate-but-equal Independence Days for America: Juneteenth, for People of Color, and the familiar old Fourth of July for everybody else. Isn’t that a fine way to reinforce the idea that we are irreconcilably so far apart?

They could have come out with all this on January 21, but the reason for the prior gaslighting would have been far too obvious even for their delusional minds….

Juneteenth is beyond irony. The Democrats celebrating the time that the Republicans made them free their slaves.. …

Politics makes strange bedfellows. Emancipation Day actually took place on Jan. 1, 1863, not on June 19 of 1863 or 1865. But this way, the worker bees at the Federal government get an extra day off. In the next few years, pressure will be put on state and local governments throughout the country to give their workers a day off with pay on June 19, to be followed up by large businesses in the private sector.

In the meantime, the nation’s crime wave in its black ghettos continues. On June 15, there were 8 homicides in Chicago and 4 in Baltimore. For those of you who were never good in math, be aware that Baltimore’s murder rate is well above Chicago’s, when adjusted for population differences. Year to date, Chicago’s homicides count is running well above 2020, 2017 and 2016. Each of those three years got a boost from major urban unrest.

If anyone started a movement to make Juneteenth a crime free day “in the community”, they would be denounced as racist.

They can’t even have Christmas day crime free ffs.

I couldn’t agree more with you. If there was ever an ASININE FEDERAL HOLIDAY, This is it. Just the name alone is asinine.
And it definitely goes to motive pertaining to the barely discernible English that the “garden variety” black male & female can speak. And my God, look at the 1st names that so many unwed, uneducated, “shit-for-brains” socially dangerous black female names their offspring.

The vast majority of the names hardly any white person can pronounce. The boomer generation by the way it looks is going to be the last generation for sometime that a black person was given a name that was normal.

Like “Ruth, Brenda, Virginia. George, Gerald, Howard.” and I have seen well-known conservative black men point this out to black women time and again. And sure enough, they throw it `right up in their face about how it’s in support of them having a Afri-Kun Hair-Teg!

And the black conservative male is trying to be patient with them and points it out to them that they are American. Period. Not African American. But American. But, it always seems as if it’s a waste of time.

            MontanaMan,
I agree the name is asinine. Virginia Governor Northam was all over Juneteenth. That man makes me sick. I followed a car this afternoon with a sticker in the window that says “My Governor is an idiot”. Where can I get one?

Is it a moveable feast, like Easter, so they don’t have to close up and pay government workers an extra holiday? The very name of it repels me. It sounds like something made up by a child or someone of few intellectual means. I’m mortified that we now have a holiday using such an abysmally substandard word. It’s even more humiliating than the time we elected an actor as president, or when Minnesota elected Jesse Ventura for governor. I had a fit on Facebook about it last year, when I still had a Facebook page, but the replies were mostly pitying. Apparently, it’s beyond my comprehension.

      • hmuller June 18, 2021 at 2:24 pm #

I’m not surprised the mob drove you off Facebook. You manage to insult conservatives, blacks – their intelligence and dialect, and wrestling fans, all in one brief post. LOL

      • Uncle Bob June 20, 2021 at 12:31 am #

Ventura is a horse’s ass who thinks he knows more than he does. Reagan (former governor of California before crushing Carter and Mondull) beat the USSR (no thanks to the Democrats or much of the Republican Establishment), only to have his successors not only breathe life back into it but bring its thought police and jackbooted thuggery here. If you helped with this effort to overthrow America’s traditional worldview in favor of some Alinskyite masturbatory fantasy, you’re a freedom-hating asshole.

        • draupnir June 20, 2021 at 12:57 pm #

I was young. My opinion has changed radically over the years, though not my opinion of Ronald Regan. I hope they cut off his head, put a rose in his mouth, and hammered a mountain ash stake into his heart before they put him in the ground.

How about Democrats rooting to tear down statues that connected the nation to its past? The Democrat is a different animal today.

    • Pete June 19, 2021 at 1:24 pm #

I would have to come out in support of Juneteenth.

As pointed out, Emancipation Day was January 1, 1863. The Union Army however hadn’t liberated slaves in the farther reaches of the nation. They got to Texas on June 19th, which was thereafter celebrated by those who were set free.

I support Juneteenth because this is an organic celebration. It isn’t contrived, or made up to placate anyone. It’s a real, honest to God event, and it marks a point in time when abolitionists righted a wrong, when America acted true to it’s character as expressed through the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. It is indeed an event to celebrate by all Americans.

Having said that, however, this should also serve as notice to race hustlers everywhere, that this event could not have been possible without the tireless and selfless efforts of the abolitionist movement brought about mostly by White people, and that puts the lie to the claim of systemic racism.

      • hmuller June 19, 2021 at 4:45 pm #

Well said, Pete. But you know the usual suspects will turn the holiday into another occasion for bashing white people (perhaps literally).

I was just thinking today: what culture outside of Western European Civilization has ever felt and expressed moral guilt and regret over past injustices? I can’t think of any.

        • Pete June 20, 2021 at 2:05 pm #

The irony I find (unless it isn’t) in our race discussion at present, is that white Christians, recognized that chattel slavery was outside the providence of God, for the slavers. Amazing Grace anyone?

Once recognized, the meme was taken up, and followed through to completion. The eradication of the practice. The price to right that wrong was paid in blood by white people. Blood being the currency of social justice. People who are inherently racist don’t do that.

          The race hustlers lie.

Democrats trot out their brick throwers and race hustlers to get mostly peaceful people stepping backwards off-balance. In previous election cycles they would cure racism in America by going back to ignoring the black lives. Today, Democrats got their hands full of communists and can’t get back into the rhythm of ignoring black lives. They unleashed a meme they can’t reign in.

America is not a racist country. Trump was not a racist President. Trump supporters are by and large not racist people, and many themselves people of color.

People, can be racist. And since we’re all people, we got some racism. Racists are present among all races. If white people were suddenly quimmed off to mars. Racism would live on, on planet earth.

Hutus can pick a Tutsi out in a room full of crowed people.

Forgive me if I strayed off-topic. These were my thoughts today while I did yard work…

          Happy Father’s Day.

The Emancipation Proclamation freed slaves in areas in rebellion against the federal government — in other words, in areas controlled by another country, however illegitimate was may believe it to have been. Technically, Freedom Day should be December 18, which is the anniversary of the 13th Amendment’s adoption and proclamation as part of the Constitution.

        Yup.

      • Tekapo June 18, 2021 at 1:38 pm #

The major (intellectual-logical) problem with a Grand United conspiracy theory is – just like those who believe in an omnipotent god – it explains everything, but winds up explaining nothing.

There is absolutely no way anyone can demonstrate (a) that a Great Reset is a planned program that is underway, and (b) that the Great Reset required, and therefore instigated, a mild pandemic via a lab in China.

Just saying it repeatedly gets us nowhere … some evidence and dot-joining is required, but it’s never forthcoming.

I don’t believe the virus was released deliberately, but I have no proof that it was not. You just have to think through the logistics and ask who benefits.

I don’t think there is a Schwab-WEF-Davos-Rothchild plot to depopulate and rule the world … and there is never any evidence provided to make me change my mind.

Honestly, I’m getting tired of going over this with you Tekapo. You don’t see the lines connecting the dots. Other people do. Just leave it at that. Agree to disagree instead of constantly proclaiming yourself “rational” and others nut cases.

          • JohnAZ June 18, 2021 at 3:45 pm #

Fine, better than reading your insane fairy tales about Covid. The idea that a disease that is ten times more transmittable than the flu and therefore that much more dangerous is claimed by you to not exist shows how worthless the rest of your claims are.

I consider it a privilege that you scroll past my posts. Keep it up.

Mary’s exactly right, as soon as you return a robust argument he just falls silent and starts again somewhere else. It was the same “tell” that his alter-ego Enough Already had. No useful contribution to the blog at all.

          • Slugoon June 18, 2021 at 3:50 pm #

We absolutely shouldn’t tar JohnAZ with Tekapo. Not even close. JAZ makes some honest and rational arguments, whether you agree or not, and engages in useful dialogue.

Tekapo is more like a bot or troll.

          • hmuller June 18, 2021 at 4:10 pm #

I agree Slugoon, JohnAz has a lot to offer. I agree with him on about 19 out of 20 issues. If I disagree on one thing, I’ll just let that sleeping dog lie, rather than start a war.

          • Night Owl June 18, 2021 at 6:03 pm #

            I agree, Slug.

Aside from his take on the Coroneau, JohnAZ is generally a pretty level-headed and agreeable guy.

          • Tekapo June 18, 2021 at 7:16 pm #

Honestly, I’m getting tired of going over this with you Tekapo.

What does this mean? You’re not going “over this” with anyone! It’s not a Philosophy 101 tutorial, or a debate in the university union.

And nor do I initiate it, so it’s a bit rough blaming me.

I am simply requesting that those claiming there is a Grand United Theory to explain the whole messy world that leads to mass die-offs, have to do better than just assert it. Some evidence, some dot-joining please.

And the inadequate response – they use the “Build Back Better” slogan – my goodness you need to come up with something better than that.

And it is fairly straightforward to analyse and explain the whole pandemic, based on information we have. Just like you don’t need a god to explain the human condition, you don’t need a Davos Great Reset to explain 2020-2021 at all.

          • zizzybalooba June 18, 2021 at 9:41 pm #

Shall I explain an entire world view to you in 100 words or less including all evidence, Tekapo? There’s plenty of reading material out there, plenty of YouTube videos. As you said this isn’t a tutorial.

          • Uncle Bob June 20, 2021 at 12:59 am #

“What does this mean? You’re not going “over this” with anyone! It’s not a Philosophy 101 tutorial, or a debate in the university union.”
100-level classes are introductory courses, not tutorials. If you’d gone to college and spent more time in class and less time fucking around with communist subversives, you’d know this. Are you on the Van Wilder plan for college, letting Mommy and Daddy pay for a decade of undergrad asshattery while you go around feeling superior to the society that allows you to engage in such frivolity?

        • DrTomSchmidt June 18, 2021 at 2:48 pm #

the Great Reset required, and therefore instigated, a mild pandemic via a lab in China.

The Great Reset required that the populace be panicked into accepting outrageous restrictions on freedoms long held. There are those who insist the whole COVID thing was fake. I don’t agree; I spoke with people who had the virus who described how exhausting it was, beyond a normal flu. But it was not, and never was, anything like the Spanish Flu, or even as bad as the 69-69 Flu, in terms of deaths. Combine a new disease with a whipped up media storm (and every year there’s a new disease, some more deadly than others) and you get the conditions needed for the Great Reset.

          • MontanaMan June 18, 2021 at 6:12 pm #

“ I spoke with people who had the virus who described how exhausting it was, beyond a normal flu. But it was not, and never was, anything like the Spanish Flu, or even as bad as the 69-69 Flu, in terms of deaths.”

Hear Hear!! I couldn’t agree more with you my friend. I myself along with my wife also new people that caught the virus and some of them barely made it. I do mean just that. Barely. And by that I mean 2 individuals.

And then we know of 5 that caught it and it didn’t bother them a whole lot except for 4 to 5 days. And during that time all of them said it was just some “discomfort.”

The 2 that caught it and barely made it has several common denominators.

            A. Both, live in Florida.
            B. Both, are retired, and over 65.
            C. Both, are not over-weight.
            D. Both, stay healthy and work out on a regular basis.
            E. Both, have the right BMI=Body Mass Index.
            F. Both, are retired in the higher tax bracket.
            G.Both, are related to me.
H.Both, do not drink or smoke. 1did do both. Over 25 years ago.
            I. Both, do not have high or low, blood pressure.

We haven’t had it and chances are, we won’t catch it. When you take into consideration whereabouts we live. NW Montana. 5 miles from the Canadian border, and 11 3/4 of a mile from the Idaho state line.

Outside of our little town of Yaak. We didn’t lock down nor did we mask-up. Both of us are born & raised here. I’m from Yaak and my wife is from right down the road in Eureka. And I thank God, so much that neither one of us had parents in some large city and had to go to school with blacks.

And thank God none of our 4 boys had to either. All 4 are grown now and they know what’s going on in the world and they are so glad none of their kids will grow up like so many are having to do. And it’s not only pitiful it’s downright disgusting and evil what so many children are having to go through in places like California, NY State, etc etc.

Combine a new disease with a whipped up media storm (and every year there’s a new disease, some more deadly than others) and you get the conditions needed for the Great Reset.

I agree that the public-health response to the pandemic (which has been nasty, highly transmissible, but luckily not super-lethal), has generally been appalling – particularly in the wealthiest Western nations.

It has been a bizarre combination of criminal inaction (including lack of preparedness and then response) AND some very questionable lockdowns and restrictions that were often disproportionate in their severity, and doubtful in their effectiveness.

But I can’t make any leap at all to the notion that there is a Great Rest conspiracy that required, instigated, and exploited the pandemic. No credible evidence for that.

I think much of the population are snowflakes, are very easily scared, and that politicians | bureaucrats know this … and therefore always err on the side of going over-the-top.

Plus, in the US at least, the whole process was grossly politicised, rather than being treated sanely as a public-health drama that required broad social co-operation. No Great Reset dark forces required to reach an understanding of all this.

          • Tekapo June 19, 2021 at 5:27 am #

Because now that the globalist drone is in power so that the Jacobin Left and the banksters who fund and are allied to them can move to finish off America without serious opposition from the mean, crude, old orange bastard, some actual truth can leak in around the edges because nobody can do anything to ever undo what the revolutionaries are doing.

I wonder what people in Russia were telling each other prior to the Bolshevik Revolution, or in China prior to the Cultural Revolution. When resource constraints become an issue in massive nations, it seems to me that grand social engineering schemes are thought up by great thinkers (gracious) to try to deal with them, and the result is massive suffering among the experimentees.
I used to hang out in the circles where very concerned international intellectuals who go jetting around everywhere hatch these schemes, just to watch them get rejected by the people they sincerely want to help, with a growing sense of desperation. These folks are not “red” this time, nor Catholic, they’re “green.” I’m still “green” too (there’s quite a spectrum of it), but if you don’t stand with the people even when their vision of the future they want differs from yours, you wind up fighting them. My God we were an arrogant bunch! (Nature always has the last say, and we obey Nature’s dictates. And Schwab and them will play their role in the drama. Stand aside as far as you can.)

So the fact that these groups have endlessly pontificated on eliminating world population and even gone into detail on how it will be done does not constitute evidence? Far from a conspiracy, it is openly discussed. It is a huge disinformation campaign and well coordinated. There is evidence that has come that covid-19 has been talked about years prior. That said I believe that covid-19 is a scam and non existent. What was worked on in these bio weapons labs is the vaccine. The vaccine is the bio weapon and no such virus called covid-19 exists. Yhe story of a lab release of a virus was just another way to get a different segment of the population to buy in. It also provides cover for the deadly vaccine that has not been fastracked by any means. It has been in the making for years. It does everything it was designed to do and woks perfectly. It puts an expiration date on everyone who takes it and sterilizes and dumbs down at the same time. There is no virus but endless speculation about a lab leak lends credibility to the fact and as yet unisolated virus as well as provide cover for the true bio weapon the vaccine. If you look closely everything that is said to be a symptom of the virus has been seen in people who have been injected.

Do you think that a transition to a future where almost everybody “will own nothing” is going to come naturally or might this necessitate plans, conspiracies, false flags and disinformation on a scale that dwarfs everything currently believed by “fringe elements”.

Not a “Great Reset” as such. But the idea that our debt will eventually reach the point where it can’t be managed seems reasonable. And this doesn’t require any conspiratorial planning, just politicians of all stripes doing what they do naturally.

When the time comes, then what? Well then there’s a great reset in the currency. You get a week or so to trade in 1000 classic dollars for one Biden Buck. Or— knowing Dems—the ratio will be based on your race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc.

If I were to move to Germany (I have the legal right), can you recommend an area that is relatively sane?

        I love the sea. Cuxhaven?

        The Harz?

I would certainly consider it a plus if the new party of Wodarg is active in the area.

        Thanks for any ideas.

        • Bob12065 June 18, 2021 at 3:08 pm #

Cuxhaven? I don’t think that you will like it there. It’s a relatively cold region, the seas are very rough, it’s windy, and the weather changes every ten minutes. I am familiar with the area, having been stationed in Bremerhaven for a year (1967).

          • MontanaMan June 18, 2021 at 6:46 pm #

I used to go to Bremerhaven so many times. I worked for MSC.
Military Sealift Command. Lant Division. (Atlantic, Division.)
Went to the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Kings Point New York. Retired as a relief Captain. I was a member of
the AMO, Union. American Maritime Officers.

If I remember correctly, the short is we ever stayed bumping the dock in good old Bremmie was right about, oh, 4 to 5 days. On average we stayed 2 weeks. There was not a crewmember that I can think of that didn’t like it. Even in winter.

Because just about any port is better then the North Sea or the North Atlantic or the Northern Pacific. Except in Africa or the Middle East and several of the port-a-calls in South America.
All of them are absolute shit holes.

Especially in Africa. And it doesn’t matter which port. From the Northern part all the way down to Johannesburg. Africa in general is one big shit hole. And the stevedores will steal you blind, and try like mad to do what we call, “double bill of lading manifest.”

I am very familiar with South Africa before during and after apartheid. And it was 100% better before, apartheid. It used to be such a safe country and so deeply prosperous. Now? Ha. Flat ass broke.

And everything is falling apart all because of the black population. They have flat out stolen, ripped off, grafted people, businesses, locales slap to death. It’s so bad, the hardly any international bank wants to loan them any money.

And China has moved in, in so many places in Africa. And when they get done sucking every bit of the mineral resources out, they will own the vast majority of Africa. But I digress.

            https://www.amo-union.org/ MSC is, https://sealiftcommand.com/

MSC has been trying to hire like crazy the last 10 to 15 years. Like so many other careers, so many young guys really don’t want to work hard to start off with. And I am not stereotyping.
I’m very good friends with the oldest staffing member of the
            SIU Union. Seafarers International Union.

https://www.seafarers.org/ He’s retiring anytime after September and we talk quite often. As he has said to many several times over the last 5 to 10 years, “ back when me and you was coming up the books was closed for so long.

Regardless if a young guy wanted to go blue water or brown. Now? The books have been open for the last 15 years no matter how much money we throw at it we can’t get that many that will stick it out to amount to anything.

Garland, very seldom does a ship report in to any hall that isn’t sailing shorthanded. I shit you not. Back in our days every ship was always fully manned and we carried 2, remember that?? 2, 3rd mates for Christ sakes.”

(Blue water = deep-sea. Brown water= the Great Lakes and the Inland Rivers and all Intracoastal Waterways.)

Lord I vividly remember when a deckhand only made $45 to $55 a day. Depending upon what company you went to work for.
Out in the Gulf. On supply boats.

Running out to the rigs and back. Today? Try $185 to $200 dollars a day. For a greenhorn. Experienced man is getting $260 to $280 a day and, absolutely outstanding health benefits.

Just last year 3 men invaded, shot the father (he survived) and his son was able to wound 2 of the men and chase them off. He said it was incredibly dangerous there and wants all his family to leave.

Talk about a memory. We landed in Bremerhaven in 1947, after an excruiciating 17-day trip across the Atlantic on the S.S. Huddleston.

My father was in the Occupation Forces, stationed (as I recall) in Fürstenfeldbruck, a Luftwaffe base taken over the the Allies.

My father, a victim of the Reduction In Forces (RIF), knocked down from Captain to Master Sergeant, was awarded a huge rural villa in Kempten that a Nazi colonel had been kicked out of. RIF = “Thanks for winning the war, now we’re either going to discharge you or let you stick around at a very inferior rank.”

It was a wonder for a six-year-old, except for the part where the Catholic nun broke a wooden ruler over the back of my hands for some forgotten transgression (nothing to do with their creaky religion). We had us a live-wire Hitlerjugend houseboy named Helmut, who had not quite got the picture that it was GAME OVER and he better shape up or ship out.

            Fun times.

Check out Schleswig Holstein. Beautiful landscape, close to the sea.

However I can think of no reason to move from the US to Germany. Population density in Germany is much higher, taxes higher, Government overbearing and intrusive (like parents forced to bring their kids to a doctor regularly to check on the progress of their vocabulary), population overwhelmingly has a serf mentality,
leadership idiotic (exiting form coal, nuclear despite the highest electricity prices in Europe — in a manufacturing country!), the completely insane Greens on the ascendancy, Financial situation precarious (the rest of Europe owes Germany almost 1 trillion via the Target II system, a debt that cannot be collected).

The place like much of the rest of Europe is on a downward trajectory and it will be quite dramatic within 20 years.

John – too many cling to the hope that the answer is political. It’s not. Make of that what you will.

Revolutions are violent, blood is shed and people die. They haven’t erased enough history – yet – to bury that truth.

The sooner people accept this truth, the better – nothing changes until then – except things proceed apace & we’re pushed further down.

I’m not condoning nor promoting violence – it’s just the truth – sometimes it’s required. We are at a crossroads of one of these times.

        • King of Comedy June 18, 2021 at 5:53 pm #

          RA

People tend to forget that, historically speaking, the human race has been living in a relative sweet spot since the end of WWII. Advances in medicine, plentiful energy, mass production and the relative peace engendered by the concept of mutually-assured destruction have created pretty cushy times (as measured against the (almost universal) nasty, brutish and short nature of much of human existence pre-20th century). This phenomenon is particularly pronounced in the West.

The cushy times have created whiners so insulated from the knife-edge of survival that has been the norm for the vast majority of human history that they have to create offenses and injustices almost out of whole cloth. I think it’s pretty clear that we are moving out of this time into a more chaotic period.

George Orwell reviewed Mein Kampf in 1940 before Hitler was “Hitler”, the synonym for absolute evil. There is the following remarkable passage in the review:

“Whereas Socialism, and even capitalism in a more grudging way, have said to people ‘I offer you a good time,’ Hitler has said to them ‘I offer you struggle, danger and death,’ and as a result a whole nation flings itself at his feet.”

Orwell understood “that human beings don’t only want comfort, safety, short working-hours, hygiene, birth-control and, in general, common sense; they also, at least intermittently, want struggle and self-sacrifice, not to mention drums, flags and loyalty-parades.”

To your point and as much as it may seem unlikely in our fat and bored society, there undoubtedly lies an inflection point somewhere on the horizon where a large part of the population that now passively endures the nonsense going on will embrace that “struggle, danger and death” that Orwell cites and then all bets will most definitely be off.

          History is a pendulum…

Americans and West/north Europeans were living in a relative sweet spot since the end of WWII. Other “sweet spots” in history were known as “Golden Ages” where life for ruler and ruled was relatively good if not utopian and humans made great achievements. Today’s world is different in that it was set up by 1. The sharp rise of Europe/UK (and their bankers) in the 19th century, 2. The emergence of the New World in 1900, namely the US and the inventions like the light bulb, and 3. by the supine position of Islam (Turkey) in contrast to these 2 new power poles. Anyway, I personally do not know what kind of human beings this guy Orwell hang out with on this planet when you claim he says “they don’t want comfort, safety, hygiene, and common sense and that they want “sacrifice and struggle.” Orwell perhaps has a romantic notion of what it means to embrace “struggle, danger and death.”

Jefferson wrote it. To paraphrase: The tree of liberty occasionally must be bathed in the blood of revolution. Tyrants must be ousted.

This is one of those times that he predicted would come upon us. Politics, committees, voting, etc. will not give us the results that we need. Constant vigilance and the willingness to use force and fight back is the correct course of action. We need to rip these people out of office and out of the influential institutions that are destroying America. These destructive, anti-American politicians, gov agencies and private sector institutions must be purged from our society. Every time you use force that is too light for the problem the enemy gets larger and you get smaller, and your survival-potential goes down another peg.

I see Wikipedia has decided again that JHK is a “conspiracy theorist.”

“James Howard Kunstler (born October 19, 1948) is an American author, social critic, public speaker, conspiracy theorist, and blogger. He is best known for his books The Geography of Nowhere (1994), a history of American suburbia and urban development, The Long Emergency (2005), and Too Much Magic (2012). In The Long Emergency he imagines peak oil and oil depletion resulting in the end of industrialized society, forcing Americans to live in smaller-scale, localized, agrarian (or semi-agrarian) communities. In World Made by Hand he branches into a science fiction depiction of this future world.”

Perhaps one of our media agents is involved. LOL.

Every issue has two sides to it, two sets of zealots who are narcissistic enough to think they are always right and everyone else is full of it (are you listening MQ).

Your mention of history being changed reminded me of a recent story I saw.

As you can well imagine, Colonial Williamsburg has been getting more and more infused with critical race theory lately.

Now they’re researching the LGBT etc community of that time period to incorporate it into the Colonial Williamsburg experience.

Any such community anywhere in Western Civilization was pretty much closeted until very recent times. (unless they were rich and of the ruling class and could get away with flaunting it). Let them look. They’ll be surprised when they see the condition of women at the time, too. That will definitely need to be retroactively improved.

Sean, I frequently ask Google questions like:

How tall is Tom Cruise? Or, how old is Joe Biden?

Prior to the 2016 election I asked “How tall is Donald Trump?” The answer was 6’2″. Shortly after Trump won I asked the same question and the answer came back 6’3″. Men in the limelight want to be perceived as taller than they actually are.

Just now I asked “How tall is Barron Trump?” The answer was not definitive but said that some people claim he is about 6’6″. They showed a picture of Barron with his parents and he towered over them and he is only 15 years old. I wonder if he plays basket ball.

Q, I always thought Trump was small because that was the impression I got. I do not watch the telly, except for sport, read the papers or watch films (like a lot of people). I also thought Hitler was tiny. I understand that Americans did not realize Roossevelt used a wheelchair and Robert Redford (who really was small) appeared taller than he was by using photographic tricks.

If you want accuracy on anything, even non-controversial, you have to ditch Wikipedia and Google. Google Earth will not even give you accurate coordinates.

Pat, that is an interesting subject and an important one. I do not think it is at all easy to find accuracy. It never was but it is still very hard in spite of the internet. I think you need ever ounce of your intelligence, skill and education to reach an opinion in many, or most, cases when it comes to simply establishing the facts. Thee can be strong psychological barriers when the subject threatens to challenge your world view. For those in the grip of collective fantasy (most people) this is far beyond their ability or will power.

      • macnucc11 June 19, 2021 at 7:44 am #

        Coinkiedinkist, coinkidinker or just dinker.

Definition, one who believes information is never shared events are never planned, people never get together to discuss or plan. It is completely impossible for two people to plan anything much less more than two people. A dinker is a strange creature that will always and everywhere deny the possibility of a conspiracy no matter how obvious and how much evidence may exist. The dinker at the same time believes in highly coordinated and well financed influential networks of white supremacists plotting to reinstate slavery. This figment of their addled minds also works tirelessly to oppress something a bltqzx community whatever that may be.

    • draupnir June 18, 2021 at 2:34 pm #

Worse. It’s been verified that a high-ranking CCP member who worked as Vice Minister of State Security has defected to the US bringing absolutely terabits of information including names of all the Chinese Nationals, mostly students, who are working for the PLA. About a third of all Chinese students are here under pseudonyms, as they are the children of high-ranking military and government officials. Also included are the names of high-ranking American citizens, including government officials, business executives, scientists, and media personalities who are working with the CCP, and as you can imagine, this goes to the very top. His information included the highly inconvenient Hunter Biden laptop, detailing his unfortunate penchant for porn, drugs, underage girls, and willingness to sell out his country in partnership with his dad, and so much more. This information must be really setting the cat among the pigeons. What to do? What to do? In the hands of the DIA, he is being kept away from the FBI and other agencies at this time. Are people sweating bullets? I kind of doubt it.

Yeah, the whole meme was already fading.

They needed something to buck it up, but the essence of the matter has not changed at all. For example, 100 club members will be shot in Chi on the 4th of July week, no matter how many bogus holidays are declared.

It is a direct attack on the unity of a common culture in this country. It was passed unanimously in the Senate.

      Deep State cowardice.

A question, when are we going to have a Latino Independence Day, there are more Latinos here than Blacks. Then how about China Independence Day, etc.

We have 365 days per year, I guess we cannot have more than 365 independence days.

I thought MLK day plus black month of January was the celebration of the Blacks in America.

      • Yohannon June 18, 2021 at 5:07 pm #

That never existed. The only way it could exist would be for us to come down to their level – which started a few decades ago. This was Jefferson’s nightmare. The Founders never considered them prospective citizens. Conservatives are lying about that, including Tucker.

        • JohnAZ June 18, 2021 at 5:28 pm #

Lincoln did not have a clue. He did the Emancipation Proclamation to save the Union, to give flagging enlistments in the North something to fight for.

He would have sent them back to Africa if he could’ve.

The vast majority of the Black labor pool that was freed have never really fit into the European common culture here. Like the Latinos, they are not Americans, they are Africans living in America in their hearts.

Ask the BLM folks, would you like to take a chunk of land and secede from America? I think I know the answer.

How many months and days do the European Whites have to commemorate?

Let’s see? Columbus Day, nah, too White and anti Red, tear down those statues.

Fourth of July. Not a good idea to celebrate this one. Or make sure you fly a rainbow flag. Lots of Founding Fathers statues under threat.

President’s Day. Both are under attack for Woke BS.

Memorial Day. Even the Woke do not dare defile this day, besides, the dead do not care.

Labor Day. Ha, who labors any more. Should be renamed gimme day.

          Veterans Day, ditto Memorial Day.

Halloween, a celebration of the US true personality.

Thanksgiving. Under attack from Native Americans

Easter and Christmas, well you name it, some one hates it.

      • JohnAZ June 18, 2021 at 5:30 pm #

        Probably the only way.

One of the BLMs problems is there are Blacks who are Americans and have prospered.

        • Blackbird June 18, 2021 at 7:08 pm #

I’m sure the number of prosperous black Americans is far lower than the number of whites actively supporting Burn, Loot ‘n’ Murder. From what I’ve seen, more than half or BLM’s rank and file is white.

I don’t think separation is possible as long as the central command and control is intact – and it’s reach grows every day. The hand-off to China and the globalists will go smoothly. A few unavoidable embarrassments will be quietly buried beneath our golden fields of genetically-modified grain.

We built a tower that is far too high and it’s coming down. It was going to collapse anyway, but this is a controlled demolition – to ensure our Masters consolidate their grasp of wealth and power.

The solution to surviving the collapse of the fossil fuel financialized world should be A World Made by Hand, (and we should have started building it awhile ago) but I don’t think that will be permitted to build that world. As I squint into the future the World I see looks “Brave” and “New”.

President Trump finally came out and said the vaccines are not a good idea for “young people”.

This is absolutely true, and Bernie Sanders has already come out and said this too.

I see that the MSM can’t help but tell a bunch of lies while criticizing him:

Trump rails against Covid vaccines for ‘very young people’
With shots protecting older Americans, younger people now make up the majority of Covid patients in hospitals — something the former president didn’t mention in a Fox News interview.

Another reason the MSM and social media have been burying/torpedoing IVM info. Big Pharma has been beavering away on their own early intervention treatments that will cost a whole more and make them big bucks. Hard to make those bucks if IVM gains strong evidence of effectiveness.

Just another huge part of the scam. Outrageous.

    • Socrates-Detroit June 19, 2021 at 12:03 am #

I missed these comments by former Pres Trump and Senator Sanders regarding the vaccines.

I remember during the 2004 elections, USA today’s electoral college map showed Republican in RED and Democrat in BLUE.

I thought this was backward–RED is the color of the communism in particular and the left in general, BLUE tends to be the established order and tradition. Should be RED=Dem, BLUE=GOP.

I see now that I maybe used the wrong, “classical” reference.

To the extent that, until that disaster W Bush, came in, Republicans were generally the party of some (often feigned, but still) responsibility concerning deficit spending and the debasement of our money. So they were RED, as you will see shortly.

WE are living in the “Matrix” (please see the movie). For those of you who have not seen it:

In the Matrix, Neo (the hero) is offered the RED pill, which represents reality–and it is grim and grey, or the BLUE pill, which is a machine-generated facade, which appears normal and comfortable (the baby boomers and generation X of the USA lived in an era of unmatched prosperity and convenience), but is an illusion, where the “machine” controls everything and everyone, to squeeze the energy out of them…

Forty years ago, by pure luck, a friend of my father’s, took an interest in my high school curiosity and opened my eyes by making me think outside the box on various topics.

Until then, I viewed politics then as the traditional left/right–Communism at one extreme, then Socialism/US Liberals, then ‘moderates’, then Conservative/Capitalists, then Fascist.

But that’s not linear–the differences between Fascism and Communism are superficial–in both, the few overtly control the many. (The Fascist regime is better at allowing the country to fulfill it’s economic potential). It’s a circle.

No, the linear is like this: on one end, totalitarianism (Communism/Fascism/many dictatorships), then major government control (from Singapore to most democracies today) , limited government (the USA from 1789 to 1861) , and anarchy at the other end. I realized this forty years ago.

But that’s all STILL the BLUE pill. It doesn’t address physical limitations and the fact that nothing can expand forever.

Then twenty-five years ago, I ran across “The Long Emergency”. That’s the RED pill. Cheap energy, probably not sustainable. And that’s the enabler, but we are confronted with other resource constraints, not to mention climate change, which has happened before modernity and is happening again. The 20th century, for Americans who were not maimed mentally or physically, or killed, in wars, was like an Eagle in golf–everything lined up, 3 strokes on a par 5! NOT the norm of human history….

In the context of the BLUE pill, where 99% of all Americans who don’t read this blog exist (or think they do), most of them know things don’t add up. This is why the two most popular presidential candidates of 2016 were those who spoke many of the inconvenient truths: Donald Trump, and Bernie Sanders. The former won the primary and the election, the latter was robbed of a fair contest in the primary by the Democratic party machine (aka Clinton/Obama).

It’s interesting that both of these pariahs (to the the deep state, aks “the machine”) would adopt the logical, albeit very tentative, position that vaccinating minors with experimental vaccines is not a good idea.

Even more interesting for Mr. Trump, since he is to a large extent invested in the “epic effort to get these vaccines out ASAP”. He thought the vaccine help him keep his seat–it was not enough.

Do we have any mask manufacturers or wholesalers reading?

I’ve seen some with the message “My governor is an idiot”.

That’s good, for some of us, but I want to find some masks that say:

“NOT WILLING to be a GUINEA PIG for EXPERIMENTAL VACCINES” with a smile at the bottom.

I waive all copyrights to the above.

I think that Trump and Sanders tentatively perching on the kiddie bandwagon is a pose to maintain their populist credibility.

Fool me once. Fool me twice. Fool me once again…

Those “My Governor is an Idiot” stickers are very popular in Michigan too. (Also available as flags and hats.) She faces re-election next year. She’ll win in a landslide – “Even the deer and bears (apparently…) voted for her”.

  13. Beryl of Oyl June 18, 2021 at 1:06 pm #

I think putting off that “emergency” meeting of the CDC, and then delaying it yet again was so they could figure out a way to either pin the problems on Trump, or find some new thing to distract and make it all go away.

Why would you drag out having an online meeting for something so important?

There is no good reason, so it has to be a bad one.

    • O.G. Hawkins June 18, 2021 at 2:11 pm #

Hi BofO. Here is some logic to consider:

      1) Trump told his most adament followers to be in DC Jan. 6 as it will be “wild.”
      2) He shows up. Speaks. And says [paraphrased], “Meet me at the Capital Bldg!”
      3) He does not show up there himself
      4) They are then herded into the Capital Bldg
      5) They now languish in dungeons sans Justice
      6) Trump tries to build his own blog network but never once mentions these saps

Therefore, Trump is merely playing his role. DC is Pro Rasslin’ and the Good Guys and the Bad Guys all drink beer and laugh and profit together while the sheeple gobble it down and baaa.

Now you have to show how it personally harmed you, and in order to do that you have to have “standing”, and evidently no one has any standing.

Remember in 1976 when the Swine Flu killed 56 people and it was brought to a roaring halt?:

        https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/long-shadow-1976-swine-flu-vaccine-fiasco-180961994/

5,000 Americans have died from all the Covid-19 vaccines so far. Why are they not stopping the jabs?

Hundreds of mostly young men developing potentially life-changing myocarditis after the jabs, so the answer is to continue to play Pfizer/Moderna/J&J Roulette with the American people?

Is there ONE person who is in Congress demanding a halt to this insanity?

        • Blackbird June 18, 2021 at 7:43 pm #

You mean the vaccine killed 56 people. “Swine flu” only killed 1 and hospitalized 13 – and for that we got a massive vaccination program.

1976 was also the year of “Legionnaire’s Disease” – caused by a “previously unknown” strain of bacteria – which broke out ironically in July in Philadelphia, among members of the American Legion. Sweet sweet irony…

We all laughed it off as more of bobble-head Gerald Ford’s incompetence. That’s what ya get for playing football without a helmet. (Gerald Ford, born Leslie King, of the Warren Commission, the first appointed president).

As a kid steeped in the history of this country, I looked forward to celebrating the two hundredth anniversary of the birth of the US. I followed the events of two centuries earlier as close as those of the days in which I was living. By the time the fireworks started going off, I had developed the sneaking suspicion that our government is a cabal of scoundrels.

The US turns 250 in 5 years. It will be interesting to see how we mark the occasion.

          • Blackbird June 18, 2021 at 10:20 pm #

Abby, that wasn’t a correction, I thought you meant that the vaccine killed 56 people and that because of that the drive to vaccinate was halted. I don’t know of any deaths linked to the swine flu vaccine, but according to the linked article it caused 450 cases of Guillain-Barré syndrome. The vaccine manufacturers received indemnity and a guaranteed profit.

  15. Anthea June 18, 2021 at 1:21 pm #

I never paid much attention to the dispute about whether the virus originated in the Wuhan lab, since it always seemed self-evident to me that it did.

As for the “why,” it also seems self-evident to me that China was not exactly a lone wolf acting solely in their own interests in this matter. This was a hoax that was perpetrated world-wide, by people who have the power to do such things by virtue of their control of almost all world governments. Hence, it was banking/financial-system actors.

Their motives are rather obviously further centralization of economic power, economic destruction of the middle class, the abrogation of virtually all civil rights, and creating a precedent for virtual martial law under the pretext of protecting public health.

All this is to prepare the way for the “great reset.” This will probably involve the destruction of all world currencies and their replacement with their own brand of digital currency, controlled by a single central bank.

This scenario will require near-total economic collapse, with most of the world’s population reduced to desperate straits.

Now, what I am about to say is pure speculation, but I suspect that both the virus and the vaccination were ready years in advance, to be rolled out at a time of their (the banking sector’s) own choosing.

I further suspect that they have yet another truly deadly virus sitting on the shelf, ready to be rolled out at a time of their own choosing. The time for that would be after most of the world’s population has been made destitute and desperate (and potentially dangerous). I don’t know whether this speculative deadly virus will attack only the vaccinated or also all those who have come in contact with the vaccinated. (Seems to be designed to shed.)

Everything is now in place, and they will pull the trigger when the time is ripe.

This rather smacks of a “conspiracy theory,” of course. But you’d be nuts to think that the whole thing wasn’t gamed out every step of the way. It is also reasonable to assume that there are a few more steps that have not yet been executed.

Remember, back at the beginning, when some Chinese said they thought the virus was released on purpose, to get rid of excess old people?

People said a virus as a weapon isn’t much good because it kills indiscriminately, but this one doesn’t. It affects mainly the very elderly, which the Chinese don’t want, and the obese, which China doesn’t have, but America does.

The story of Ivermectin being a safe, effective, and inexpensive treatment for the Wuhan flu is still being suppressed.

The vaccines are illegal if there is a treatment available that works.

And “boomers” who weren’t ready to keel over and die and had the strange idea of being treated by doctors were accused of being selfish dogs in the manger.

I put “boomer” in quos because most people who rant about boomers have no idea what the actual baby boom cohort is. The oldest baby boomers are now 74.

These horrid people ranting against the elderly apparently never stopped to think that actually elderly people (in the UK) had paid into the National Health and/or Social Security/Medicare all their lives, and now they have a right to access the services.

You just nailed the big crime which not one person in the MSM is discussing. Not even Tucker Carlson.

The first part of “the emergency use authorization” for the vaccines states that all potential safe and effective “treatments” must be exhausted prior to vaccine rollout to the public.

Early on, clinical trials were happening in different countries for Ivermectin and the results were very good, as Dr. Pierre Kory tried to explain to Sen. Ron Johnson’s committee. (Almost every member walked out on his testimony and the video on YouTube was scrubbed after garnering six million views).

NO clinical trials for Ivermectin have been allowed in the United States because Big Pharma is calling the shots in Congress and at The White House and with the MSM and Big Tech. Ivermectin has become “The ‘I’ Word.

This is a CRIME and everyone involved should be indicted for it as MAJOR harm has been done with the vaccines and the mandatory germ-laden masks people are being forced to wear (especially children):

      • Anthea June 18, 2021 at 4:03 pm #

My guess is that it will be this coming fall and winter only if all else is in readiness. I.e., is it time to collapse the currency? Are all the world’s financial institutions on board and well positioned? Perhaps mask-fatigue has been factored into the strategy. I would look for a major PR campaign celebrating the defeat of covid through both the vaccines and the restrictive measures–to prepare people to embrace a second round, which would be made easier if there really were a high number of deaths to kick it off.

        • Ron Anselmo June 18, 2021 at 4:45 pm #

Agreed – it won’t be until the table is completely set and as you say, “only if all else is in readiness”. A concern is that if they feel like they are losing the narrative on too many fronts, they may go for broke in a “now or never” reactionary gamble.

It sure does smack of conspiracy theory, and it will continue to be derided by rational minds until you put some evidence on the table. But it’s always the same “great reset OWG plot” repeated endlessly, with no evidence, no back-up.

I don’t think it’s “nuts” to reject the theory at all. We have had a mild pandemic that has killed over three million, but it’s not the end of the world – not even a reset.

Mind you, a few things being reset could be attractive: an end to mindless consumerism, reducing profligate energy use, looking after the environment better, having healthier food, national health system … it’s a long list.

And until proven otherwise, I’ll accept that the virus escaped by infecting three workers, just as soon it was pathogenic for humans. And I am deeply intrigued as to why the US medical establishment and the Pentagon funded GOF research so that it did become a human virus.

Dr. John Lee, a pathologist in the UK, said from the very beginning that deaths due to coronavirus were being overcounted. So three million may be correct but in a population of 7+ billion it’s nothing to panic about. The Black Death in the Middle Ages had a death toll of 50%, not 0.00042. And here’s a voice of reason on viruses in general:

“The point is that no cell has ever existed which did not have to live alongside replicating RNA molecules, and, later, RNA viruses. It’s not unusual to have a new virus that’s out to get us. It happens all the time, in more ways than we have been able to measure. Every amoeba, every simple organism composed of a few cells, every fetus in its mother’s womb, every child, every adult, has to make their way in a world rife with independent RNA molecules following their own agenda.”

        https://spectatorworld.com/topic/coronavirus-immunity-riddle/

Because politics and political hatreds have so deformed truth, it’s all but impossible to know who’s lying, who’s not, and who, in spite of everything, has clung to sanity.

        • MaryQueen June 18, 2021 at 2:47 pm #

Yes – it’s interesting, and possibly even correct – but hardly earth-shattering. I think we all know that there is a war going on at the cellular level, and has been going on for 3+ billion years.

However I fail to see its relevance or usefulness. If you follow the logic to its conclusion, then there would be no discipline called “medicine” at all, no germ theory, no vaccinations, no antibiotics, no painkillers, no chemotherapy, no heroic efforts to make food safe, and water safe.

Is that the reason we shouldn’t take Covid-19 seriously?

      HOW?

It seems the inscrutable ones, no friends of the American Experiment, alr4dy partnered with other like-minded groups Asian & the full population of Mohammedanism; shall commence with massive satellite destruction, coupled with Electromagnetic Pulse generators spread thru out North America via container traffic. More than a few Troposphere nuclear detonations for topping off the EMP atmosphere. PDRK; Pakistan; Russian help too. Shares for everyone!

Mainland China and Korea will be pockmarked like Swiss Cheese; the commissars and upper echelon party members betting the tunnels are deep enough. Ace in the hole for the Chinese Communist Party are the 40,000 Boeing transport aircraft, all instrumentation shielded and independent on-board controls, flying through the EMP laden skies to predetermined landing places (Freeways) or parachuting 250 troops, into predetermined sectors where they will secure utilities, warehousing and transportation assets. This commences with an EMP afternoon, runs through the night, and is accomplished in 24 hours. China will absorb her licks.

The EU; they lay low… America has closed hundreds of military bases since Clinton, so ability to stake out perimeters by home forces would be limited. China, having mucho practice in modern era rail based strategics. immediately puts several 100’s of thousands of tech savvy men to control utilities; specifically rail savvy men to appropriating control over all existing North American 1435mm rail network, Honduras to Nova Scotia. Drone surveillance of rail lines commences immediately, in turn surveilled by a flock of new/newly revealed look-down spy satellites. Vegetation and structures not part of the rail plant is burned down or demolished within 100 meters of rail line. These spaces are lethal no-go zones. Try to grasp the fact China has the numbers, the skills, and airlift!

As time passes and North American resource management is perfected, recurrence of Cyber/EMP sabotage prompts delivery of thousands of Chinese manufactured SY class stream locomotives protection against any sort of electrical disruption in total. Chinese/Russian food sharing treaty includes standard Gauge rail link across Bering Strait enabling several day transit for foodstuffs between continents. Not a pleasant prospect for the electronic generation, reduced to forced labor and a Soylent Green retirement program…

This draft was created over breakfast… what can several well financed adversarial nations, hundreds of think tanks and research cadres accomplish working year-on-year. Cyber warfare is ice shavings on some serious ice shelfs!! We have work to do.

      • MaryQueen June 18, 2021 at 3:31 pm #

I think China is far more likely to buy up the US – what they want of it anyway – than to invade. The world will eventually toss out the burst condom formerly known as the US Dollar and take whatever China gives us. At that point our fairy dust economy falls to the bottom of the snow globe. Utilities, infrastructure, for sale to the lowest and only bidder. We will become China’s economic vassal without any shots fired.

It doesn’t stop COVID19, because COVID19 doesn’t exist, not as they claim it does. They just rebranded the regularly existing flu season and pumped up the numbers. When that wasn’t enough, they invented ‘cases’ and ‘variants’. And on and on it goes.

It wouldn’t be the same War Lovers who have been searching for a new pretext to take the place of the Middle Eastern Ragheads who have exhausted their usefulness? China is a much more useful enemy, partly because their economy is an actual threat to Pax America’s ability to control the world economy by printing money out of thin air and using it for the world’s reserve currency. The War Lovers are nothing if not delusional. They have finally come to understand that Putin says what he means —- if the American Empire dares to set foot on Mother Russia’s soil all sorts of hell will rain down upon the West from hypersonic weapons against which the US has no defense. But the War Lovers still think they can have a nice little war in the China Sea or Taiwan which will serve the traditional purpose of jump starting the post Covid economy and putting all the crack heads back on the assembly lines. .

      Bill

Our military was built for the twentieth century and is obsolete as a tool in geopolitics.

Just watched a trio of national security folks discussing with Fox News the new forms of warfare. Their primary concern was a biological agent being used in conjunction with crypto warfare. They consider that what we have seen recently are just thrusts by our enemies to see what they can do and get away with, under guise of supposedly private companies doing the dirty work.

The three said that we better start fighting back, “carrying a big stick”, or we will be overwhelmed.

I am curious, what under the cover stuff is going on between Putin and Xi?

Some observers who are hardly dumb or crazy think that China wants to reduce the USA to a vassal nation that can only supply China with food, oil, and other resources.

That would nicely explain why Bill Gates has become the largest farmland owner in the USA.

I am less sure that the uneconomic harvesting of rock farts (fracking) interests the Chinese much. They’ll probably build the pipeline from “Fort Mac” (norther Alberta) to the BC Pacifc coast. [Yes! Tar Sands glunk running through the frozen, jagged Canadian Rockies – what will they think of next?]

They can then refine & ship or ship then refine. Tar sands glunk takes intensive, custom refining. Sweet Alberta Crude it is not. [You don’t hear of Sweet Alberta Crude or Sweet Texas Crude much any more, do ya? Peak oil as we spend more and more getting less and less in return. Uneconomic.]

    ——

And, they won’t have to worry about fishing boats because the waters will be made bitter (by Fukushima).

    • rube-i-con June 18, 2021 at 2:46 pm #

      • O.G. Hawkins June 18, 2021 at 2:58 pm #

No, rube. While foreseen in the 1970s, Peak Oil was around the turn of the millennium. Oil production / consumption at those peak levels was then extended (in time) as the USA uneconomically harvested rock farts (fracking) and briefly once again produced more than it consumed. Those days are gone.

Now, whenever the World economy heats up the least little bit, Supply / Demand cranks up the price of oil and puts the brakes on the economy. Classic Peak Oil

        It’s a slow train comin’

        We are here.

It looks like oil production peaked at 101 million bpd in about July, 2019. Not to worry, there are articles every day in publications like the Guardian and Forbes declaring that oil is an unnecessary, outdated commodity, easily replaceable by renewables.

        • O.G. Hawkins June 18, 2021 at 4:12 pm #

          Really, Heckler?

Peak oil in July and then a global “pandemic” lockdown by March.

          What a co-inky dink!

        • Slugoon June 18, 2021 at 4:43 pm #

Yep, Airbus sez they’ll be running them iron birds on hydrogen in the future. LOL! I shouldn’t laugh as I’ll be unemployed but I do think most people believe in the idea that you just switch out a coal-fired power plant for a few wind turbines or solar panels and everything will carry on as it is.

      • Slugoon June 18, 2021 at 4:07 pm #

I thought conventional crude peaked for you guys in the early 70s, or am I wrong?

        • O.G. Hawkins June 18, 2021 at 4:16 pm #

Hey Slugger. I Believe that West Texas Crude peaked in the 1970s and that Alberta Crude peaked in the 1980s.

Of course global oil production is the sum of all the regional production.

I’m talking about Global production / consumption.

Heckler sez that that peaked in July 2019 at Just a hair over 100 mbpd.

        • GreenAlba June 18, 2021 at 4:18 pm #

We seem to have crossed in the ether, Slugoon.

          My understanding too.

That’s when they stopped building cars that looked like boats, and briefly took to European-looking vehicles, before the advent of SUVs. Or so it seemed. 🙂

      • GreenAlba June 18, 2021 at 4:16 pm #

“peak oil was in 1970, then 1980, then 1990, and now we have more than ever [..]”

No guarantees re my memory, but my understanding was that it was US conventional oil whose production peaked in the early 1970s, and that the global peak came later (early noughties?).

Peak oil, when it was first a thing, was about conventional oil production. Nobody knew people were going to squeeze oil out of sands and shales, or blast it out of rocks.

I’ve quoted him before, but I always like Rob Hoskins’ analogy of tar sands production as being like when the pub has run out of beer and the punters are so desperate that they start to wring the spilt beer out of the carpet.

What I never understood about tar sands and fracking is that people saw them as something hopeful when they both scream utter desperation.

        • O.G. Hawkins June 18, 2021 at 4:18 pm #

          You’re Right.

        • Slugoon June 18, 2021 at 4:37 pm #

tar sands production as being like when the pub has run out of beer and the punters are so desperate that they start to wring the spilt beer out of the carpet.

          That’s a good analogy!

        • JohnAZ June 18, 2021 at 4:38 pm #

          Utter desperation?

Exactly, Fossil fuels are a necessity to current human life on earth.

Notice that the GND folks do not really have a plan to obsolete oil.

All they have done is try to negate what Trump did to raise the oil output of the US.

We have to have oil, period. We will do whatever it takes to get that last barrel of oil out of the ground. Financially feasible, who cares, some one will pay for it.

Until Peak Oil, the depletion of available oil, really occurs, some where around 2100, per JHK.

I wonder what the reserves of Saudi Arabia are today? According to JHK in 2005, the reserves are a state secret.

          • Slugoon June 18, 2021 at 4:49 pm #

I think they still are a state secret, JAZ, but from my memory of Twilight in the Desert, all the big oil fields in SA were discovered in the 60s and are now using tertiary recovery methods. I’m not sure if any large fields have been found since then.

My dad reckons the USA has got a stash of billions of barrels tucked away underground somewhere.

          • O.G. Hawkins June 18, 2021 at 5:20 pm #

You are correct, Slugger. Saudi Arabia’s oil production has peaked.

Global oil production seemingly has peaked. It is a slow train and the peak can only be identified in the rearview mirror.

When it takes more energy to destroy the Earth’s mantle and its precious ground water than what you get at the other end, you are running an uneconomic sham.

Fracking was an uneconomic racket. It did briefly extend Peak Oil and radically altered the Petro-Dollar as the USA briefly produced more energy than it consumes. Those uneconomic forces have played themselves out and ain’t nobody dumping more money into those uneconomic ventures. Fracking is dead.

Peak Oil does not mean “last barrel.” Peak Oil means that we’ve burnt half – the Good, Easy half.

Your Dad is probably Right, Slugger. When US Sec. Of Def. Donald Rumsfeld announced $2,200,000,000,000 MIA from the Pentagram on 9/10/2001, TPTB were telling us, “We have more wealth than you can possibly imagine.”

The USA has comfortable high-speed rail.

It’s a Big Club and you ain’t in it.

          • Yohannon June 18, 2021 at 5:22 pm #

What about that oil volcano they set off in the Gulf of Mexico some years ago? Maybe we shouldn’t have corked it like that.

Peak Oil does not mean “last barrel.” Peak Oil means that we’ve burnt half – the Good, Easy half.

I think it means peak production (mbpd), which is not necessarily half, but I catch ya. It’s true that all the light, sweet, low-hanging fruit has long gone.

That’s probably why they’re now trying to wean everyone off it, flatten the depletion curve (where have we heard that before) and push the date of EROEI<1 further into the future.

          • O.G. Hawkins June 19, 2021 at 1:49 am #

You’re Right. In a perfect Bell Curve the peak occurs at exactly half. The Real World data of oile depletion may not be a perfect Bell Curve. Of course we will never know as we do not have accurate enough data on total consumption since 1860s and it will be impossible to determine how much we can’t get or is uneconomical to get.

            ——

That’s why they are exterminating us by the Billions.

        • hmuller June 18, 2021 at 4:44 pm #

I like your carpet wringing analogy, GA.

Many years ago when i smoked, I’d sometimes run out late at night. So I’d get a few puffs off the squashed butts in the ash tray. Disgusting addict behavior is what it was.

If our whole society depended on the tar sands for energy, we’d be in serious trouble. It take so much energy to extract the energy; we’d be an impoverished dystopia overall.

Modern prosperity springs from cheap energy. We could live in a world with the latest computer technology running off solar panels. But no petrol and food production depends on a reliable ox pulling a plow. At that level of efficiency about half the population would work as serfs. I wonder if that thought has occurred to anyone?

          • Slugoon June 18, 2021 at 4:55 pm #

In my opinion, this is where it’s all going. Global organisations and governments are not stupid. They know all about resource limits and exponential population growth.

My guess is that instead of nature taking its course, instead of this or that country playing ‘last man standing’, TPTB are trying to manage the decline, which requires coordination and control of things on a global scale.

Whether C19 was part of the plan I don’t know but, if it isn’t, then certain interests are taking advantage of it. I think all this Build Back Better stuff is absolutely coordinated between the advanced nations and is why they’re all so in favour of open borders.

          • hmuller June 18, 2021 at 6:14 pm #

Slugoon, I suspect it doesn’t have to go that way. I think there are technologies involving new energy sources and much else which have been withheld from humanity by malignant forces.

I guess that qualifies me for a tin hat.

      Revelation 9

3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

      • rube-i-con June 18, 2021 at 5:07 pm #

so tell us what the locusts are and what the power is they have, and why that~s similar to scorpions, and what scorpions really are

anyway, the scenario could describe ANY wartime situation

also, tell us what 5 months signifies and why

        • O.G. Hawkins June 18, 2021 at 6:20 pm #

First off, rube, I don’t know. I think that we’d all agree that Revelation is cryptic.

I Believe that the scorpions and the 5 months are to be taken literally. The pain that the marked will endure for these 5 months will be similar to the pain that one feels after the scorpion sting.

I cannot speculate as to the locusts (delivery mechanism). As is often the case, the Lord’s Word is impossible to decipher beforehand but crystal clear once fulfilled.

I don’t know why the scorpion-like pain will be endured, with death an impossible relief, for a period of 5 months other than, “because God said so.”

Lastly, rube, while Revelation 9:3-6 could describe any wartime situation, it is, in fact, describing this coming wartime situation.

      • Yohannon June 18, 2021 at 5:31 pm #

In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, but death will escape them. 7And the locusts looked like horses prepared for battle, with something like crowns of gold on their heads, and faces like the faces of men. 8They had hair like that of women, and teeth like those of lions.…

Yes, Mary. If you really want to cut down to the very core of it, the lab leak narrative and even the fact that Faust and co. were illegally funding deadly research with a foreign power really doesn’t matter in the end.

What matters is what the powers that be have used and will use the “virus” for. The New Normal is Year Zero for a brutal system of control.

The Romanized Britons, out of fear of the wild northern Celts and Irish Celts, invited better warriors in from Germany to protect them, the Saxons – who proceeded to conquer them.

Similarly, in fear of the natural (perhaps) spike protein of covid, people injected themselves with more efficient and dangerous spike proteins to take care of the natural ones – which then proceed to savage their entire bodies.

I never use the term Deep State, JAZ. Americans have a Really Bad habit of thinking everything is all about them when they are Really only 4.3% of Earth.

Agreed! The Deep State however is American and is the group in Washington, DC that believes that the American people work for them instead of vice versa.

Why? Easy, to protect their jobs, starting with the elected ones.

So they great question is, how do you disempower the organization with all the power?

        • Anthea June 18, 2021 at 9:33 pm #

I never used to think this, but it has come to seem to me that life in this world is perhaps primarily a “battlefield” experience of an ongoing war between good and evil–fought with both the exterior world and within ourselves.

I’m not sure what I thought before, probably due to not thinking much about it. But it was something along the lines of assuming that people were generally well meaning, and their lack of well doing was because of ignorance, habit, confusion, weakness of character, and fear.

And I don’t really doubt that many people (including myself) would do quite a bit better if they had received religious training that emphasized the dignity and glory of the human experience (“a little less than the angels”–I’d say greater, myself), an awareness of which would necessarily restrain a person from certain of the coarsest degradations, as enumerated: no lying, cheating, stealing, killing, and so forth.

The degradation of the sexuality of women is a case in point. You are Creatrix, the Divine Mother; you are Mary most Holy–in the microcosm. Will you submit to being treated as less and behaving as if you were less?

This of course goes for everything.

Seems like someone should have taught people this–instead of the opposite. The opposite being that we are mere animals, or cattle, or complex machinery, and that our doings are of little account, except perhaps in terms of appetites satisfied (or not) and our economic utility to our owners.

Seems like we should have been taught to further our awareness of our dignity and glory through prayer, meditation, the regular examination of conscience, and–yes–confession and Holy Communion.

I see religious and churchgoing people all the time who, despite many good qualities and much good-doing, blithely go around lying to and undermining family members, or treating them abusively in other ways. Seems like regular examination of conscience would help, along with the expectation of admitting it out loud, in the form of formal confession.

But to come back to my original point, the battle lines between good and evil seem now to be drawn in a way they never were before. Maybe this is just my impression, or maybe something’s really up.

          • O.G. Hawkins June 19, 2021 at 1:24 am #

When atheistic secularists rule a society, people are no longer the children of God Most High, but walking bags of protoplasm. They are to be managed and exploited; they have no inherent rights from their Creator (seen as a myth).

And that defines the battle between good and evil IMHO.

She’s been an absolute warrior, she did 450 interviews in the first year since you heard the word “covid,” and she’s identified 20 different mechanisms of injury of the jab, she’s amassed a database of 16,000+ studies they moved, hid, or unpublished, documenting the harm, the autism, the deaths, the SIDS, the racism, all of it. The doses in question were produced at the Emergent BioSolutions plant in Baltimore. The facility threw away ingredients for 15 million doses in late April because of contamination with materials from the AstraZeneca vaccine, which was also manufactured at the plant.”

She said she was never diagnosed with covid-19.

She apparently received no treatment for her symptoms.

Did any physician actually diagnose the symptoms she had?
          Do some tests?
Of course, large portions of the medical infrastructure were shut down and people were being told to just stay at home.

Severe pain is extremely debilitating and depressing.

To me this looks like a death that maybe could have been avoided with early diagnosis and treatment by an experienced physician.

If it was covid-19, then a number of physicians, e.g., Dr. Peter McCullough, have stated that *early treatment* in their experience heads off “long covid.”

Patty Duke took a few months to die from it, and so did my friend, Connie Bryson. She got it in December and lasted ’til March. It was a battle the entire time, she never left the hospital.

The “No” was that it is not instant in many cases. in the case of the guy who lost part of his face and limbs, he got sick but didn’t act on it for 3 days and by then he was in horrible shape.

Old Man Biden now bragging about 300M shots given out so far. Even in the post-reality world we live in today, that’s a lot of shots for a land of ~330M or so where a goodly amount of renegades such as myself have refused the Magical Poison Prick. Perhaps they’re manufacturing them digitally now like the Fed’s Funny Bux and depositing them in corporate accounts to pad the books. Vaxx inflation just follows CV19 death count inflation I guess, all fabricated from thin air, which seems entirely appropriate in a land so completely virtually fucked up such as ours, all of which matches our virtual freedoms inflation as well. We the People hold these virtual truths to be virtually self-evident… and all that.

Biden/What’s Her Face: Truth – It’s whatever you want it to be! Humorous anecdote: They begged Burger King to let them use the old “Have it Your Way” jingle, but they demanded payment in yuan and the banks refused to convert worthless Funny Bux.

agree with humuller, Jo Jo Magoo doesn’t know what he’s slurring about. He reads a teleprompter (and wanders off that no doubt much to his handlers’ chagrin).

      • hmuller June 18, 2021 at 6:23 pm #

But I view such ridiculous statements by Biden in a positive light.
TPTB can say 80% or 90% of the population is vaccinated, we have achieved herd immunity and can now resume normal life.

In fact it may be 30% or fewer. But let them get away with their face saving lie if it means the end to all this Covid nonsense – the masks, the lock-downs, the social distancing, etc

        • JohnAZ June 18, 2021 at 7:19 pm #

Remember the asymptomatic and presymptomatic folks?

          Just supposing:

A majority, not just the new cases, of the population got the crud during its three runs, and most never even knew it. IOW, it was even much less of a pandemic than a cold (thank you, MQ).

And what if the up to 50% of folks, the percentage I heard, got at least one jab.

Add the two. 70 to 90% of folks may have immunity to the crud.

No wonder it just tailed off.

We will see, if no further surges, Covid is gone.

This time, why don’t we take a stab at curing viruses instead of vaccines? Get rid of the suckers.

        • MaryQueen June 18, 2021 at 11:40 pm #

          • Night Owl June 19, 2021 at 3:27 am #

Yep. That is the biggest issue. The Vaxx IDs. They are creating the infrastructure, because they plan to use it for everything, as they have already told us in their papers.

Amazing how many people are entirely unaware of what is going on.

They just rolled them out here in Europe. Temp keeps rising in the pot.

          • MaryQueen June 19, 2021 at 3:35 pm #

OK so if you have to have a vaxx pass to fly, how would you even leave Germany if you wanted to?

          • Night Owl June 19, 2021 at 3:58 pm #

To fly one can also have a negative test or proof of “recovery.”

They are crowing about how free it is here because they still allow us proles to drive ourselves to a testing site 48 hours before we want to do anything interesting.

Travelling across any border here also has the same requirements.

If we leave, it will be before the pass is mandatory. There are no questions about where things are going. They don’t roll out infrastructure like this for all member states if they don’t intend to use it.

What they are doing right now is making things as annoying as possible for the Great Unvaxxed. Once the approx. 80 percent tipping point is hit, I have no doubt the pass will be mandatory.

    • tully June 18, 2021 at 7:26 pm #

Given the Pfizer and Moderna are two shots, that would be around 115 million vaxxed, give or take. Some of the shots will be the J&J.
US population is 332 million, so at this point, a little over a third of the populace have gotten their shots.

Got a long ways to go to get to 70%.

“Hubbert’s original predictions for world peak oil production proved premature. The rate of discovery of new petroleum deposits peaked worldwide during the 1960s and has not approached these levels since. OPEC predicts the peak will be in 2040 but everyone else predicts an earlier peak.

sorry guys you were all wrong about ~peak oil~ as well as the end of the whirled

plus, we only have 3,000+ years’ supply of frozen methane on the oceans’ floors

plus nuclear basically without limit when the time comes

you guys are batting .076 in the predictions department

if oil peaked in 2019, why were oil prices so low in 2020 under mr. trump?

    • Trean June 18, 2021 at 5:11 pm #

Oil prices collapsed in 2020 because the world shut down. Hundreds of millions of the largest consumers suddenly stopped consuming any. Hence a massive glut and price collapse. One of the weird side effects is that the cost of producing plastics actually rose because the by products from refining that go to the plastics industry suddenly became scarce.

      • GreenAlba June 18, 2021 at 5:15 pm #

Weird side effects can be fascinating. I remember in the noughties when construction was undergoing a depression, the price of wood chip cat litter went up by about 50%. Not so much sawdust around. (I had a cat then.)

      • O.G. Hawkins June 18, 2021 at 5:45 pm #

Exactly. In a perfectly Free Market, Price is determined by the intersection of Supply & Demand.

If Heckler is correct and oil production did indeed peak in July 2019, that is no guatantee that it cannot surge yet higher before its inevitable downward trajectory.

We can’t Truly identify the Peak until we are a ways below it.

That is, the Peak may be a little jagged.

        • JohnAZ June 18, 2021 at 7:53 pm #

Yeah, OG. JHK predicted that when the peak passes it will exhibit a jagged profile.

“Ever since I began eating, more food has consistently been available on my plate. Based on past data, there is absolutely no logical reason why my plate should ever become empty. So far every single one of your empty-plate predictions have been false! Some of you were screaming “empty plate” literally 7 bites ago, you fools.”

    • JohnAZ June 18, 2021 at 7:32 pm #

Fracking! Easy loans to fracking companies, low % rates.

C’mon Rube. Did you read JHK TLE? 2100, that is the date his book said that oil was going to fail. Not now.

If anything, the fail will happen sooner than that because we have opened the spigot wider. TLE was written before fracking was practical, even JHK says it changed the forecast.

Unless you have a way to obtain oil that creates it, ie a renewable resource, the end is inevitable. Most forecasts come from EIA data on reserves.

You are right about one thing, nuclear is a big partial solution, if we can convince enough people outside of France that it is. How many bills for funding or construction requests have been submitted for new nuclear plants here? How long does it take to build one, let alone 100 nuclear sites? I think they are retiring more plants than building them.

      No solution in sight.

  35. GreenAlba June 18, 2021 at 5:10 pm #

“if oil peaked in 2019, why were oil prices so low in 2020 under mr. trump?”

I think the theory is that the downward curve is not straight. It will bump up and down as the price of oil toggles between being too expensive for economies to afford without pain and too cheap for producers to be able to invest.

Scotland is a little screwed since this effect started to take place in the North Sea.

Re 3000 years of methane, ocean clathrates might be best left exactly where they are, for at least two reasons (I’m not starting a sub-thread, so won’t list them).

The NAACP, The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, was founded in 1909 by certain people concerned with the challenges facing African Americans and this organization has seen fit to keep their Association’s name unchanged ever since.

But today JHK wrote that “the Democratic Party has just now engineered two separate-but-equal Independence Days for America: Juneteenth, for People of Color, and the familiar old Fourth of July for everybody else.”

Now I ask you, would not all hell have broken loose if Jim had used the term Colored People?

Warning: COVID Vaccine ‘Spike Protein Shedding’ Damages Placenta, ‘We Are Being Experimented On’

“Concern started when we saw that individuals who were not vaccinated, who were around vaccinated individuals started having abnormal bleeding. Their periods would be disrupted, or they had a passage of large clots or heavy bleeding or pre-term deliveries, miscarriages even,”  Dr. Shelley Cole, a board-certified OBGYN and Medical Director for America’s Front Line Doctors explained in an exclusive interview with The Gateway Pundit.

Thousands of women have reported disrupted menstrual cycles, hemorrhaging, miscarriages and stillbirth after receiving injections of the vaccines.

The alarming side effects are attributed to receptors in the contagious spike proteins that attach to the placenta and uterus and “cross the blood, brain barrier within 15 minutes of the vaccine injection,” Cole explains.

can someone tell me if this is correct? Its from Microsoft news,

The two suspects, who were in a Volkswagen station wagon,

were cut off by Aiden’s mother Joanna Cloonan, according to prosecutors.

A few miles later, as Cloonan was attempting to merge over to the 91 Freeway, she passed the defendants and was “still angry about being cutoff and she put up her middle finger at the two as she passed,” prosecutors wrote in a bail motion filed Wednesday.

“She then heard a loud bang to the rear of her vehicle and heard her little boy in the backseat say, ‘Ow,’” prosecutors said

[it states she cut them off then was angry about being cut off???

  39. Sean Coleman June 18, 2021 at 6:28 pm #

I do not believe the China ‘narrative’. Denis Rancourt holds that the Chinese were forced to play along with it in the early weeks, partly because of, ahem, ‘international pressure’ and partly because some of its citizenry (including some of its scientists) have been influenced by all the nonsense. He believes the US is provoking them into a war it will certainly lose since its military is in such poor shape.

As for the ‘manufactured virus’, whoever made it obviously wasted their time and money. A ‘killer’ virus is supposed to make people sick. This one is imaginary.

    • O.G. Hawkins June 18, 2021 at 7:08 pm #

What if the vax is the weapon, Sean? In that case, the virus was merely a means to an end.

That seems far more likely than they goofed the virus and the vax in over 2,000,000,000 souls is unrelated and benign.

    • Tekapo June 19, 2021 at 4:30 am #

The Left always appeal to authority even though they believe themselves rebels and independent thinkers.

      • Sean Coleman June 19, 2021 at 7:53 pm #

Yes, seriously. Why not. From memory, you made a similar comment when I referred to that well-known Jewish American climate sceptic whose name escapes me. Tony Heller, I just remembered. (It may have been someone else who did this.)

Rancourt seems well qualified and quite conservative in his approach. I say that because in a recent interview he was cautious about accepting anecdotal evidence of vaccine injury and he maintains that the (undoubted, he concedes) deaths caused by the ‘vaccines’ are statistically insignificant when looking at all-cause mortality. So far, at any rate.

I also do not think Rancourt sees a lab ‘event’ in Wuhan as being all that important. He may, for all I know or can remember, be like Wolfgang Wodarg (surely you have heard of him) in conceding that there may well have been a laboratory accicent or deliberate event (whcih I have come to the opinoin, albeit recnetly, that they are well capable of of) but that, even if it did happen, it was not very important since a dangerous virus would quickly kill its hosts and would die out quickly as a result.

Rancourt does not even think it is important whether ‘Covid19) actually exists as a distinct, identifiable virus. For myself, while I agree with him I still like the idea that it is entirely fictitious because that way it would fit into the template of other health scares, most notably AIDS.

His arguments as to why the disease is nothing to worry about are clear and distinct and well set out and after watching only two or three of his videos I have memorized them reasonably well. I can sit through an hour long video with him and find practically nothing to disagree with, which is quite rare. For example, I listened to an interview with Swedish commentator Lars Bern this morning and, while he made a lot of sense, he made two or three quite serious blunders (about HCQ among other things) which betrayed an imperfect understanding of things. The closest I have come to this with Rancourt is a careless jibe about the Inquisition, which I can forgive as scientists do not usually have a good grasp o history.

Why do you think Rancourt should not be taken seriously?

        • Sean Coleman June 19, 2021 at 7:58 pm #

He also has a very good grasp of geopolitics, a very difficult subject, and his ideas seem to agree well with those of Matthew Johnson, who I think has the best understanding of it of anyone I have come across. I have learnt a great deal from Johnson, who is also expert in philosophy, political science and (I think) theology 9at least Orthodox theology). E Michael Jones too. If you know of anyone better then tell me and I will let you know what I think of him (if I have the time). When I was a history teacher I could (like all teachers) have a good idea of what a pupil’s mark (you say ‘grade’) would be from the very first sentence. Well I have now reached the stage where it is the same with public commentators.

        • Sean Coleman June 19, 2021 at 8:07 pm #

For those wondering, Dr Wodarg was a very early critic of the ‘Covid’ narrative. He was a senior doctor who reached the position of managing his regoin’s (in Germany) response to annual respiratory epidemics and then became involved in politics (as a left winger in the SPD) where he led an official investigation, on behalf of the European Council, of the 2009 swine flu hoax. So he was ideally placed to see through this one. Few people, still, cannot put the events in sequence that have led up to the present catastrophe. They do not want to do it and they are not capable of it either.

First I heard of “Juneteenth” was back in the seventies. I was attending college in Texas at the time. This was a local celebration by blacks in Texas, nowhere else. Now they’ve made it a national holiday. Great. It will cause further division (as if this sad ‘nation’ could be any more divided.) When do the Republicans put their foot down? My prediction is Never. They’re about as useless as a pig saddle.

The People Who Built This Country will never cease their agitation until we are all at each others throats. Can’t wait.

      • Socrates-Detroit June 19, 2021 at 1:13 pm #

        Yes, Mary, complacency.

In the immortal words of the villainous Dean Wormer, “…fat, dumb, and stupid is no way to thru life…”

And yet, most Americans got too busy with too much and stopped minding the store. Some one else will do it. Life was good! We had that luxury.

1946-63: Peak America for most Americans. Never before in history had so many people enjoyed so much material prosperity so quickly. WOW! Technology (TV, Color TV, the moon, better cars, freeways, etc), consumerism and science displaced the generally shared Christian morality (which was not perfect in reality–I concede racial discrimination being the biggest). The baby boomers didn’t know, or think, there are any limits to anything–yet we all know, nothing grows forever….

That’s why Americans in general are woefully ignorant of politics–and I’m speaking of the “blue pill”, the illusory world we inhabit, where politics play out. Life is good; I don’t have time; I’m busy; let some one else mind the store.

        Not enough minders now.

The early internet era was peak America for those who wanted to delve into history and find out why things are as they are. Peak bookstore era. Libraries still had books.

Now, every day, the internet is increasingly squeezed and censored. At the same time, misinformation and distortion, from random misfits or deliberately planted (Tekapo comes to mind in this space, not sure which of the two categories he is in), so it’s harder to get to the root truth. Makes me think of 1984….the book.

Getting to truth is even harder for those who lack context–and dumbed down Americans do.

In “Bowling Alone” in 2006-7, by Robert Putnam, he cited studies that a US HIGH SCHOOL graduate in 1948 was more proficient in english, math, history, and basic science than the average college grad 50 years later.

Now, as the tide is going out, and more people are seeing all the jagged rocks they didn’t know about, they make wake up, but they will be more easily duped.

After 1963, again, in the blue pill world, America sowed the seeds of it’s economic undermining by living beyond it’s means–Vietnam and the Great Society. The Vietnam War and the raw reality of racial discrimination, followed by the riots, undermined the public’s trust of institutions.

The 1970s were rocky—but we had a lifeline! In 1981, Volcker squeezed inflation, and Reagan and the Democrats doubled down on borrowing–deficit spending led to a faux veneer of prosperity. Foreigners (Japan, Saudi) bought a lot of that debt.

When the USSR imploded, THAT was the focal point in time. The US could have said, “hooray, let’s dismantle this intrusive, expensive military and use those resources to restore our infrastructure, fix education to try to grow some home-grown brains, instead of importing hungry smart students from Asia, and put our finances in order”

        1990 was the inflection point.

America could have declared the Cold War won, come home, and used all those trillions of misallocated resources on defense to fix our infrastructure (roads, bridges, basic R&D for health), support an educational system that would educate, and incentivize/support conventional family units, and pay down our debt.

Didn’t happen. Today, our Dept of Offense is bigger than ever.

But we had a second lifeline. The Chinese government jettisoned Communism and adopted fascism–Deng said something like “profits are beautiful”.

The Chinese in particular, and poor Asia in general started making labor intensive products that were good quality. These imports “saved” American consumers money, while also destroying many manufacturing jobs–that “no one wanted, because we are doing white-collar stuff” (the BS that JHK has called, particularly in FIRE, which adds little real value to society).

As plastic totes and t-shirts got cheaper, the Chinese used the paper dollars they got to buy capital assets (tooling, tech) from the West, so they could make higher-value things, and repeat the cycle. They did. From the early 1990s to about now. NAFTA helped with that also. About 30% of “American” cars are Hecho en Mexico.

Well, now that lifeline is gone. What next life line will carry us, in the blue pill world, going forward? Our epic deficit spending?

In the red pill world, the advance of China and Asia has essentially fast-forwarded the rate of resource use and depletion.

We can only speculate, but many Americans had it pretty good by 1963: heated homes, clean water, HOT water, electricity. The plutocrats drive for MORE wealth for them persuaded America that the city, or the 1100 sf bungalow from 1954 wasn’t good enough–more stuff. We now have suburban sprawl that makes 1990–NINETY, look tidy, with 2500-3500 sf homes, most on what used to be good farmland close to cities. That’s gone.

We have bigger bills than ever, yet the means of servicing those bills and debts are very fragile…. And as almost four decades of mild inflation (it’s always been there, but the lifelines AND the feds’ way of counting concealed it) comes to an end, and we stand at the threshold of what life was like for Italians or Greeks in the 1970s, when prices would go up 10% in a good year, 25% in bad and double ever four-five years or so, the future in the blue pill world is looking kind of shaky.

Klaus and Gates and the Davos crowd know the pie is going to shrink. This ‘great reset’ is a big shell game to conceal the extent of the shrinkage from the hoi polloi, while making sure that the “first among us” get as much as they are used to and more, and we content ourselves with the smaller piece in order to “save the planet”.

And perhaps, to make the smaller piece easier to live with, while they’re at it, maybe, as some of you here contend, quite plausibly, let’s order up a boutique disease or COVID just to thin the herd–after all there is still manual work to be done.

The further away from the event or happening in question, the less sure we can be of the facts. We can watch the news on TV or the internet, and decide.

Even based on that news, there are many disconnects, in my opinion, in the mainstream media. This space is the “marginalized reality”–and our host offers up the red pill.

For example, “Black Lives Matter”. Of course they do–no less than white lives. All lives matter.

And it’s proper for law enforcement to be held to a higher standard, since society has given LE a lot of power–up to and including the use of deadly force.

At the same time, the biggest threat to black lives is violence, which if we believe what we see and hear is perpetrated by overwhelmingly by young black males.

Is that true or not? I have not personally seen any cops shoot an African American, and I have not personally witnessed any African Americans shoot anyone. Does that mean it doesn’t happen?

All I see is that the overwhelming push of the MSM and the government is to say that we “need more training” for police; to ‘defund the police’, for the acts, or perceived acts, of a few police officers. Being a policeman is a very stressful job, especially in a high crime area, especially with unruly suspects…

As for the high number of African American homicide victims–well, the problem is too many guns. NOT the behavior of young black men, but GUNS.

So let’s take away everyone’s guns, and depend on the police for safety. Those most likely to comply with such an edict are those least likely to commit a crime. Is that logical to you?

That’s the narrative–and that does NOT make sense to me–based on what I see, hear, and read.

Perhaps I’m looking at it wrong?

I think a lot of the commentariat here sees other, more complex disconnects, and points them out. The host sure does–thankfully! He’s a trained reporter and a good writer.

Some news accounts note the crime is up. I don’t know–I haven’t noticed that yet in person. Does that mean that crime has not risen?

But I have been a victim of larceny, several times. My family home as a teen, burglarized. My gym locker, broken into–thankfully, the thief was considerate, only took my cash..

The last time in 2015 the perpetrators were caught, proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, I saw how HIGH the bar is set to convict a criminal. And whereas before this incident, I had been (and remain to a significant extent) concerned about cop abuses, like frivolous traffic tickets or excessive use of force, I could not help but admire the patience of these cops to nab these guys; the hours WASTED as they must wait for their turn in court (and they are on the clock, paid by taxes) for some preliminary hearing for the OBVIOUS. As we waited, they said, “you know, these guys are smart. WHy not just use their smarts to get a job?”

The accused were recorded on a security camera during the act of breaking into my car. My brother foolishly left his iphone in the door pocket, where the top was exposed.

The cops had been monitoring these folks for a while. The undercover police LET them break into my car, and steal the phone and my sunglasses (which were out of view in the console, and are prescription–pretty useless). They then followed, chased, and caught the suspects. And then, when we gave them the number of my brother’s phone, on the other end it was…the arresting officer, 5 miles away! Fortunately, the during the car chase, no one was hurt or injured, and I don’t believe the thieves used weapons.

So now, not only do I like at local press reports differently, but I realize it was dumb luck that our stuff was recovered, and absent iron-clad evidence, good luck convicting some one of larceny, at least for small amounts. At the same time, just because the thieves were black, I don’t assume all thieves are black. But the statistics I’ve seen and read seem to show that a disproportionate amount of property/violent crime in the US is caused by African Americans, Latinos, and illegal aliens. Should I dismiss that? At the other end, a disproportionately low amount is caused by Asians it seems.

Tekapo, you like to find small holes in peoples’ arguments and point them out, but seem willing to overlook big disconnects in your arguments.

I’m sure you will find some in my comments, no worries. I’m not a professional writer, or a lawyer. But my comments are closer to reality than yours.

          • hmuller June 19, 2021 at 6:09 pm #

Oh admit it, Tekapo, you love the attention. Haha

As far as “a decent debate about meaty issues”, it always come down to you pontificating about how wrong others are. And they don’t have a “rational mind” like yours. And what they think is paranoid conspiracy theory; while what you think is proven fact. Yadda, yadda, the twisted narcissism is all quite mind numbing.

But if it makes you happy, I’ll call you a “Master Debater”. Or something very similar sounding.

Where is the next lifeline? It’s kind of like the Titanic. There aren’t going to be enough lifeboats, to extend the metaphor. The water is cold, it is death-dealing & the shivering few who will huddle in those lifeboats will be at the beck & call of the remaining powerful nations who will come in & pick up the pieces. They will impose their own rules on the survivors & the lunacy will suddenly end. But we will never be a great nation again. The corrupt elite who are feathering their nests with Chinese money such as the Biden crime family are harbingers of things to come.

Excellent breakdown. This is very much as I see it as well.

I was born in 1963. LOL, 2 months before the JFK assassination. What luck, eh?

I think people my age may be the most confused of all. We had it made as young adults: Plentiful jobs, we could afford to go out every night.

Our parents watched us nervously, as they had lived through the aftermath of the Great Depression. We just went along not worrying about much, until Strike 1 (9/11) when I started questioning things. For 20 years now, that’s what I’ve done. Watch, research, study, and realized we grew up in The Truman Show. As many here have also come to realize (or knew much earlier than me).

Americans have become used to censorship and the erosion of our rights, which is why now if we speak the truth we’re called crazy. You’re correct: It’s straight out of 1984.

Been fun seeing the ny post take over the mantle of real journalism as ny times turns to populist pulp. Post has story about the tide turning against wokeism citing john stewart’s laughing at the natural-origin covid theory on late night and a recent bill maher show pushing back on “defund police” and like messages.

I’m wondering how pendulums might swing next as some of these edifices and dogmas fall apart.

An equally brainless surge of right-leaning practicalism?

Just a more balanced and familiar American confusion?

Will we recognize many of our problems result from giving everyone a voice… too many vocal, dumb voices, and not enough intelligent ones guiding?

Could we somehow turn collectively towards a submission to better informed authorities? Will any real, grounded debates over real macro issues materialize for the first time in probably decades?

    • JohnAZ June 18, 2021 at 10:45 pm #

      Nice!

Only 117 today, 114 tomorrow. It actually has been this hot before in June in the past, I posted a picture of a thermometer showing 120 degrees in the past.

I read JHKs description of what was going to happen in the Southwest in the future in 2005, TLE.

Heat and drought will drive folks out of here is the prediction. If you have been reading the news, you know that our area is running out of water and fast. The Colorado River, Green River complex feeds five states, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada and the big momma, California. There is a compact allowing certain outtakes for each state, with California being the biggest. Cities and Agriculture. All based on a minimum fill in Lake Powell, and Lake Mead. Oops, not happening and getting worse and worse. The drought has been going on for at least ten years from here to Colorado. The main outtake for Arizona is a big canal called the CAP, the Central Arizona Project. That runs from Parker, AZ to Tucson, through Phoenix. Much of the recent growth of Phoenix is dependent on the CAP. The extreme condition of the two reservoirs are threatening the CAP. Also, the water for Las Vegas comes from Mead and their outtake is about to be exposed by the falling water level. They are currently boring a new outtake lower. Southern California will be nothing short of a disaster if they lose water of any consequence. And all this area supplies produce and other products for the country, so this affects everybody. Phoenix growth will probably slow and even the Aggie area between here and Tucson will be clobbered if the drought goes on much longer.

The way it works is Arizona gets most of its water during winter and during monsoon season. Seven inches a year. The last two years have had very little rain in either time frame. Monsoon season is July through August and some of September. Big thunder boomers in the late afternoons. If it does not happen this year, number three, we are in deep kaka.

Even if Arizona gets its Monsoon, it does not help the drought, only ameliorates it locally. The real source of water are the snows of Colorado and Utah accumulating in Powell and Mead. Not for a long time. Right now, none of the five states are getting much moisture year to year and it is reaching criticality. It should be a major, major issue for DC and I will bet nothing is being even discussed.

JHK figured that the SW would be the first exit area in the Long Emergency and his prediction is right on unless someone figures out how to make it rain or snow a huge amount and quickly.

Whew, it is hot out there.

      • MaryQueen June 18, 2021 at 11:31 pm #

        Excellent overview, JAZ.

The drought is why I finally exited CA.

It is on the brink of disaster. Not just the water, but the totalitarian bullshit and the fires… it’s a mess.

Someone compared what’s happening to the entire west to the Dust Bowl. Talk about irony. I read a great book about the DUst Bowl (The Worst Hard Time) and it blew my mind. Something they don’t teach in history classes, that’s for sure, and the biggest man-made disaster in US history!

Looks like they made similar mistakes in trying to change desert to farmland in the west.

        Mother nature bats last!

        • JohnAZ June 19, 2021 at 12:03 am #

          Just a comment, irony wise.

The Grapes of Wrath followed a family of sharecroppers forced off their land during the Dust Bowl by the advent of large scale farming with tractors. They went to California and had a really bad time. Steinbeck ended the book with the family having no future.

Now, where are the folks like you going, to get out of that overgrazed, over taxed, overpopulated, underwatered disaster area.

No wait, I forgot, the Dems are going to give everyone UBI.

          Never mind!

          • MaryQueen June 19, 2021 at 8:59 pm #

Yes, the only famous historical novel I know written about it. Stunning. The book I mentioned is really worth a read. I found it beyond fascinating. It follows the histories of some of the people who were in the thick of it. Great read.

The gov’t didn’t want to do anything but eventually they were forced.

What’s going to happen in the west promises to make the Dust Bowl look like small potatoes.

      • Tekapo June 19, 2021 at 3:45 am #

… the water for Las Vegas comes from Mead and their outtake is about to be exposed by the falling water level. They are currently boring a new outtake lower.

Building huge cities in the desert was never a good idea.

I saw Lake Mead and Lake Powell about six times in the 20 years between 1998 and 2018 – the fall in water levels has been dramatic over that time – goodness knows what has happened in the four years since.

And they get naturally shallower anyway – because they silt up.

And for those Americans who live in well-watered areas (essentially all three coasts), it can be hard for them to appreciate how arid parts of the Southwest are.

Is the current drought (and lack of historically regular rain cycles) all down to Global Warming? And does Phoenix have an aquafer that it can “rely” on?

The Chinese are after power. They want personal glory. They want collective aggrandizement. They want the American King at the doorstep of the Chinese Emperor waiting to pay obeisance, rehearsing words of respect.

The Chinese want polished and mannered Chinese specialists in the intricate protocol of the Imperial Court, tugging at the leash of the foreign visitor, leading him or her and the following train of American officials and reporters who will soon witness the abasement of the formerly powerful America.

And the Chinese want money. The ordinary folk want meat everyday, a reasonable income and a decent shot at life. The rich want more riches.

The Chinese are ambitious in other words. They mean to run the show, they mean to be a global shot-caller, they mean to hobble a rival civilization. Their ambition is to make the US a tributary state and its leader a kneeling subordinate.

So, to the point. No matter that they say they’re investigating, does the Biden administration really want to know? No, they don’t. They already know that American Oligarchs, having relocated American corporate assets to China, now have to do the Chinese leader’s bidding. Either that or lose all those billions and trillions they idiotically put within the grasp of those men in Beijing and the massive armies and police forces that those men command.

And it’s those same American Oligarchs that call the shots in the US with the active complicity of American politicians and the American Deep State. And everyone knows, that having sold out the USA and the West for the sake of corporate profits, America is in no position to give orders. The Oligarchs will tell Joe to not rock the boat. America is too weak, America may have a huge military but it no longer has the productive capacity to fight a power like China. People with an eyeball and a braincell know because such people can see that America is economically eviscerated, hollowed out. Collapse isn’t coming, collapse is here, collapse having already happened to a large swathe of the country.

There is no chance the Biden administration will conduct an honest inquiry. Just as they did with Hillary, they will manage to not see mountains of malfeasance, just as they’re doing now with the 2020 election. They will make shit up, they will lie like hell, they will blow billows of distractionary smoke, they will issue fogbanks of disinformation.

They will talk about “science” as if actual science matters. They will use words like “facts” and “evidence”. And they will bury facts. A lack of evidence they’ll say. And, in the end, they will conclude that there is no conclusion to be drawn.

The problem is that there’s too many of us that can see and think and have minds of our own. Where did the Wuhan flu come from? You tell me. What do your eyeballs tell you?

    • MaryQueen June 18, 2021 at 8:49 pm #

Sure, just the marketing of the wuhan flu or some other crisis. Like a terror attack. The handful of people at the tip of the pyramid want control. They want compliant people willing to be told what to think, what to do, living on a miniscule income, happy with next to nothing, no family, no belongings, no nothing. .

    • MrMangoOnMyShoulder June 18, 2021 at 9:09 pm #

The problem with a proposed subversion of America by China is that to most Americans the concept is, well, boring…and unrelatable.

The Russians…now for some reason we could get behind being eternally against them, back in the 50’s-80’s…an interesting and understandable foe. (though the recent attempts at resurrecting that fear have been laughably weak and predictable, like something out of Dan Brown’s worst book that was never even published).

Not so sure most have the same interest in caring about what China might be planning. It’s strange.

But I must admit, I’m not as interested in renting that movie either.

That’s probably not a good thing.

      • Blackbird June 18, 2021 at 9:42 pm #

Maybe that’s what makes China the perfect foe? Even if we decide they did “do it” , we just can’t get riled enough to blow up the world. I don’t think anybody wants a real nuclear war – just the apparent threat of one.

China will be the new boss, cursed by disgruntled deplorables in unheated cabins. Overhead he old boss will still soar over the world in personal jets.

Ok, so they got it wrong in the USSR – but we’ll get it right this time.

Rural living is so inefficient. All those electric lines and roads always needing to be fixed. All those cars and trucks suffocating trees and melting polar bears. Who needs 10 acres on a dirt road when you can live in a pod surrounded by pods filled with people you’ve never met who don’t speak your language?

Just an observation in Denver particularly. Housing prices skyrocketing as few single family homes being built. Apartment buildings are blooming all over the place.

JHK has talked of US suburban sprawl being the great misallocation of resources in history, and while I overwhelmingly agree with that, and the resultant car dependence and spiritually bereft communities, the fact is that a lot of people want their block of dirt, and are prepared to put up with tacky plastic houses, very long commutes, and high land prices.

However apartments – if well designed and built, and ten floors or less – are much more energy efficient per person than individual houses, and moderately higher densities generally mean many more resources and facilities are within reasonable distance.

Apartment-based neighborhoods do not have to look like projects in Newark, or some grim Soviet era new city.

I haven’t been to Denver for 15 years, so I can’t comment on how it’s changed – for better or worse.

Not so sure most have the same interest in caring about what China might be planning. It’s strange. But I must admit, I’m not as interested in renting that movie either.

I think they might be a few reasons, including racial/ethnic difference, lack of deep knowledge of them (“inscrutable”, etc), and history too.

Americans “knew” the Russkis – and there long history of large-scale military sacrifice and success, from well before Napoleon and WWII.

The Chinese OTOH have almost no “recent” military tradition outside a few lesser skirmishes versus Korea, Pakistan, India, and Vietnam. And the Japanese had a big piece of them in the 1930s and 1940s.

So they have never entered the popular psyche as a big military power in a traditional Western sense, despite the size of the PLA.

But really, while people have been able to fill their carts at Walmart or Home Depot, China looked like a big honey pot, and who cares much about slave-labor in sweatshops?

I don’t see China as a military threat with the aim of dominating America – the US is their biggest trading partner and also their biggest debtor. I can’t see how they benefit from the collapse of the US dollar. Who is going to buy all their output, and what about those trillions in US paper they hold?

And they know the US can turn Beijing and Shanghai into ashtrays pretty easily if they cross a line – even without nukes.

    • Tekapo June 18, 2021 at 10:51 pm #

They will talk about “science” as if actual science matters. They will use words like “facts” and “evidence”. And they will bury facts. A lack of evidence they’ll say. And, in the end, they will conclude that there is no conclusion to be drawn.

The problem is that there’s too many of us that can see and think and have minds of our own. Where did the Wuhan flu come from? You tell me. What do your eyeballs tell you?

It seems to me there are some good questions to ask::

      1. Did the virus escape from the lab (probably via infected workers)?

      2. Did they become infected via gain-of-function genetic research?

      3. Did the gain-of-function research to create a human virus involve US funding?

      4. The big one – is there any evidence of deliberate release?

I’m a bit less sceptical about deliberate running-dead on the “investigation”, not because there aren’t political issues and palace intrigue involved, but rather – if there isn’t Chinese co-operation – what can the US authorities discover?

Unless there are communications between the lab and the US, advising of (a) “success” in creating a human pathogen, and (b) oh-oh – it’s escaped.

Well-written piece, volodya, even if I disagree with parts.

      Just an add on, V.

One of the main avenues into the US for all those Chinese oligarchs are the Mexican Cartels through the souther border. Just another example of the Biden mob’s affiliation with China. Ding dong Harris will not even acknowledge the problem, and Biden probably forgot about it.

Also, the PCR test is very suspect if run above 30 amplification cycles which produces a very high percentage of false positives. And it only looks for pieces of the Covid 19 virus which contains various pieces of other common coronaviruses. Finally, the PCR test does not distinguish between live and dead pieces of viruses. The pandemic numbers are all based on the false premise of the highly dubious faulty PRC test.

From Tom Woods, a voice of sanity since day 1 of the plandemic hoax:

“A lot of people are finding themselves facing moral dilemmas at work, in connection with COVID-19 vaccination.

What’s interesting here is that even the often confused director of the CDC, Rochelle Walensky, put it this way to a concerned vaccinated person: since you are protected by the vaccine, you needn’t worry about the unvaccinated.

That point doesn’t seem to have trickled down to every workplace, to put it mildly.

Most recently, I’ve been reading about the new protocols inside the NFL.

Here’s a summary by columnist Judy Battista:

Fully vaccinated players will no longer have to be tested daily, will not have to wear masks at team facilities, will not be subject to quarantine after exposure to a COVID-positive individual, will have no travel restrictions, may eat in the team cafeteria and use the sauna and steam room. They also will not be subject to capacity limits in the weight room and will be allowed to interact with vaccinated family and friends during travel.

Unvaccinated players will still have to be tested daily, must wear a mask at team facilities, are still subject to physical distancing, will have to quarantine after exposure, will have travel restrictions and will not be able to interact with family and friends during travel, and cannot eat in the cafeteria or use the sauna and steam room. They will be subject to capacity limits in the weight room, too.

So unvaccinated players will be subject to the same pointless rules that accomplished pretty much nothing over the past 15 months.

But of all these absurd restrictions, the toughest to deal with is that unvaccinated players would still be subject to quarantine, thereby causing them to miss practice or playing time. As Battista puts it, “For players — especially those battling for jobs — availability is critical.”

    Now:

Remember the awful commencement address you had to sit through in high school or college, in which you were told that you can make a difference?

One person can make a difference, we were told.

Here we truly are faced with a case in which one or a handful of people can actually accomplish something. If even a few of the league’s top players said they would refuse to play unless these crazy rules were lifted, they’d get lifted.

The question is: do we have even a few people with the guts to do it?

    Time will tell.

Most people wind up going with the flow, as 2020 made abundantly clear.

You, dear reader, aren’t most people.

Sometimes it’s hard not being most people. It can involve sacrifice, loss, and ostracism. It can be exhausting.

I am happy to report that the Tom Woods Show Elite, my private group, consists of precisely such people: amiable, intelligent, engaging — but immovable in their principles.

Despite receiving his second vax shot a coule of weeks ago, Ducharme tested positive for the COVIDs.

Sorry, 40 hour a week (sometimes more) working stiff here. So far indications are my employer will not mandate the shots, but time will tell.

We are a hot spot for the so called delta variant with over 100 hospitalized and 49 in ICU. Officials say they are younger and mostly unvaccinated, but no specific breakdowns of ages and shot status offered. Sadly, the health officials have BS’d and exaggerated so much the past 18 months, I take their pronouncements now with a grain of salt. Guess lots of folks locally feel the same. The vaxxed percentage continues to slowly creep up by a few tenths of a percent daily despite the official begging that everyone get shot up. Doesn’t look like we will hit 50% vaxxed rate by July.

It is actually a bit surreal. Given the new “cases” (at PCR tests run at 38 cycles) plus hospitalizations, we should be back to mandatory masking, restrictions on indoor gatherings, and 50% max occupancy for retail and restaurants. Not one word has been uttered by the health poobahs about doing this.

I fully expect to see my county on the national news soon, as the media muppets tsk tsk over us dumb hillbillies and the coastal elite hope we will all just hurry up and die already.

I will continue taking the vitamins D3, K2, and C I’ve taken for years to aid calcium absorption, plus the zinc, quercetin and ivermectin I’ve added this year. Eating lots and lots of veggies, some fruit, and other healthy fodder, and avoiding junk. I do struggle with a fondness for whole wheat crackers, but there are worse things to eat.

You just proved my point in your first paragraph. Your employer is the hero of the story.

          • tully June 19, 2021 at 2:43 pm #

Yes, for now. Vaccines are currently strongly recommended only. But for how long? Health department will be pressuring for vaccines, and if the FDA approves the vaxxes, that makes it highly likely courts would uphold employers’ rights to require the shots.

Then there is the company health insurance provider. Employees do have half their premiums paid by the company, a goodly sum. If the insurer says premiums will be lower if the company requires the shots, I would expect them to be required as a cost saving measure.

Starting to feel a bit like being stuck on the railroad tracks and hearing the train coming.

Ah—-see what you are saying now. Apologies for being a bit slow on the uptake.

For working people, be they hourly or salaried PMC, I. suspect reports of serious adverse reactions and deaths increasing to the point they can no longer be ignored is the only thing that might stop shot requirements for workplaces and schools. The longer one holds off on the shot, the better the chance of dodging it, as those reports are piling up.

Time for a chuckle, because losing our sense of humor is the worst thing we can do:

“U.S.—With more and more statues across the country being pulled down, pigeons are being forced to redirect their payloads to different targets.

As soon as statues are pulled down, the pigeons turn toward the nearest available target: angry rioters.

“Yes! Down with racism–AHHHHH!!!!” screamed one rioter just after pulling down a statue of Christopher Columbus. The pigeons immediately turned on him, with a squadron of the birds divebombing him to unload hundreds of pounds worth of excrement. “Run!!!”

Rioters frantically tried to put the statues back up as they were attacked by the feral flocks. “Put Christopher back! Quick!” cried one Antifa group as they were swarmed by a whole fleet of pigeon bombers. But try as they might, their weak liberal arms could not lift the statue and they were forced to flee the scene.”

“Some observers who are hardly dumb or crazy think that China wants to reduce the USA to a vassal nation that can only supply China with food, oil, and other resources….”

Jim, this may be the most important comment in today’s essay. Let’s think a bit about how the US Empire has worked– The US controls the global money supply and prints as much of it as they want. Other currencies get devalued, we ship our industry to much poorer nations so that their sweatshops can make goods, which we then buy from them with newly-printed PonziBucks. This sucks wealth from around the globe into the accounts of a few large players on the East and West Coasts, while leaving the Fly-Over residents out of the bargain.

All China has to do is become the new controller of the Global Money Supply. Maybe with Russia as a partner in the venture–for a while…
The US Dollar gets devalued to a worthless 3rd-World currency (probably over night). Then the tycoons come over from China, buying land and assets for pennies on the Renminbi. They buy off the regulators to look the other way while they bulldoze the parklands to put up drab concrete block factories that can reclaim lead from circuit boards, dumping the waste into, oh let’s say, the Mississippi and Shenandoah rivers, just to start. The good stuff gets shipped to China for their profit, and we get left with the mountains of toxic waste.
I suspect that is their exact plan. It will work too. They have learned how to do this from us….

Interesting thing we learned on our tour of the Coliseum in Rome. In 70 AD, I think, the Jewish Temple was sacked by Rome and Jerusalem destroyed. Want to guess where all the wealth, especially gold that was in the Temple went. Voila, a new Coliseum for the folks.

Want another? After the fall of Rome, iron was used more and more for weapons and construction. Guess where some of it came from. The stones of the Coliseum and many other Forum buildings were joined together with iron joiners. If you get a close up of the Coliseum, you will see it looks like Swiss cheese with holes all over it. Those are the bore holes where they scavenged the iron joiners. They also took stones for building.

Lee Penn, Beware the New Age, Inplainsight.com

THE NEW AGE POPULATION SELECTION PROCESS
As part of the imminent global transformation, the radical New Age leaders look forward to a “selection” of the human race. The elect of humanity will survive to enter the New Age. Many others will die – a prospect that these gurus view with cold equanimity.

Alice Bailey described World War II as “the broom of the Father of all, sweeping away obstructions in the path of His returning Son.”[223] Since she saw war and mass murder as part of God’s plan, it’s reasonable to ask whether other Theosophists and New Age leaders who foretell a “selection process” intend to kill their opponents, if they can.

For several decades, in books with titles such as Happy Birth Day, Planet Earth, The Revelation: A Message of Hope for the New Millennium, and The Book of Co-Creation, Barbara Marx Hubbard has predicted “personal extinction”[224] for people who will not get with the New Age program.

“A Quantum Transformation is the time of selection of what evolves from what devolves. The species known as self-centered humanity will become extinct. The species known as whole-centered humanity will evolve.”[225] At the time of the quantum transformation, “humans capable of cooperating to self-transcend will do so”; “elements” who maintain “the illusion of separation will become extinct … just as Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal humans became extinct.”[226]

In referring to undesirable people as “elements,” she follows the example of the Nazis, the Communists, and others who dehumanize their opponents to justify destroying them. Barbara Marx Hubbard warns that if the selection comes, it will be violent: “Either the good will prevail, connect, link, and magnetize the majority of humanity to act with love for life everlasting, or the violent selection of the self-centered will begin.”[227] For her, Satan “is part of the selection process … that will bring forth the self-elected from the self-rejected, so that … only those connected to the whole survive.”[228] Robert Muller says that persons “who hold contrary beliefs” to those favored in the “next phase of evolution” will disappear [229] ; opponents of the UN and other “anti-evolutionary, blind, self-serving people” will have their souls “parked in a special corral of the universe for having been retarding forces, true aberrations in the evolution and ascent of humanity.”[230] David Spangler says that those who do not enter the New Age “will lose, for the time being … the ability to control or influence the developments upon Earth. … They will have moved from an active state to a relatively passive one.”[231] “Relatively passive” – like a corpse?

All the New Age soothsayers say that the extinction of the opposition is for their own good, the beginning of their cosmic re-education.

David Spangler says that those not attuned to New Age energy “have no place in the new world”;[232] they will be sent “where the patterns of the old still hold sway” for their “highest good.”[233]

Barbara Marx Hubbard says that those who are against the New Age “will begin again within a different planetary system which will serve as kindergarten for the transition from self-centered to whole-centered being.”[234]

Nick Bunick, the self-styled reincarnation of the Apostle Paul, sets the date for the selection. Between 2000 and 2010, “those people who are not living according to the laws of God” will be “no longer participating in our world”.[235] The resisters will be sent to “a different vibrational plane”[236] – not as a punishment, but to improve their karma.[237]

Barbara Marx Hubbard says that survivors of the “selection” will go with the flow of evolution, will love “choice, diversity, flexibility, ambiguity, uncertainty, responsibility, and response-ability,” and will be able to “co-create, unite, synergize and love everyone as a member of your body.”[238]

The inheritors of Marx Hubbard’s new kingdom will pass all the current tests for political correctness, and will be highly qualified to serve as bishops in the Episcopal Church.

The leaders of the New Age movement argue that the earth is overpopulated, and that radical measures are needed to defuse the “population bomb.” In the 1940s – when world population was less than half what it is today –

Alice Bailey said, “certain physical restrictions should be imposed, because it is now evident that beyond a certain point the planet cannot support humanity.”[239]

Matthew Fox has said, “Excessive human population is a grave danger … it’s one of the reasons I joined the Episcopal church, because of its open-minded and pragmatic view of birth control.”[240]

In 1997, Gorbachev said, “for a certain transitional period families should limit themselves to one child;” once the world’s population is stabilized, the former Communist premier would consider upping our ration to two children per family.[241 ]

Some of these “forward-thinking” people want to go further, and reduce Earth’s population to 2 billion or less. In a November 1991 interview with The UNESCO Courier, Jacques-Yves Cousteau said: “World population must be stabilized and to do that we must eliminate 350,000 people per day. This is so horrible to contemplate that we shouldn’t even say it. But the general situation in which we are involved is lamentable.”[242] That works out to 127,750,000 people per year, and 1.27 billion people to “eliminate” per decade. Media magnate Ted Turner is more patient; he will allow 80 to 100 years to reduce the population of the Earth from 6 billion to 2 billion by a global “voluntary” one-child policy.[243] In an interview with the environmentalist E Magazine, he added,

“I think the population should be closer to when we had indigenous populations, back before the advent of farming. Fifteen thousand years ago, there was somewhere between 40 and 100 million people. But [population researchers] Paul and Anne Ehrlich have convinced me that if we’re going to have a modern infrastructure, with commercial airlines and interstate highways around the world, we’re going to need about two billion people to support it.”[244]

The eco-feminist theologian Rosemary Radford Ruether has a similarly low view of humanity. She told those who attended a May 1998 ecological conference that “We need to seek the most compassionate way of weeding out people. … In place of the pro-life movement we need to develop the ‘spirituality of recycling’ … a spirituality that includes ourselves in the renewal of earth and self. We need to compost ourselves.”[245] Several months later, Ruether told a national conference of Call To Action, a liberal Catholic organization, how many people must go onto the compost pile: “We must return to the population level of 1930?[246] – about 2 billion people. What the supporters of population reduction leave discreetly unannounced is how to get rid of the 4 billion “surplus” people.

Despite his deep involvement in New Age occultism, David Spangler points out some dangers of the New Age worldview: “a desire for power, the tyranny of the group over the individual,” “an attachment to novelty for its own sake,” destruction of marriages due to pursuit of “self-development,” a misguided pursuit of “limitlessness,” losing awareness of the transcendence of God, and “unwillingness to say that anything is out of place or wrong.”[247] He also warns, “The new age movement in North America has much in common with its counterpart in Europe between the world wars. The ecological spirit and desire for transcendence expressed at that time in Germany became corrupted and channeled into the Nazi movement, which had many roots in occultism.”[248] An orthodox Christian might also offer all of these criticisms. It is unfortunate that Spangler did not use similar discernment in his other work.

Because the radical New Age adepts extol each other’s writings, speak at the same workshops, and share board memberships in the same organizations, it’s fair to assess their teachings as a group. (If this is “guilt by association,” it’s an association that the New Age gurus have created themselves.)

Taken together, the works of Robert Muller, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Neale Donald Walsch, Alice Bailey, David Spangler, and Helena Blavatsky are an anti-Catechism: a revival of the Gnostic heresy, a comprehensive anti-Gospel, and a point-by-point inversion of Christian morality and doctrine. The problem is not a few “smoking gun” quotes pulled from otherwise-innocent writings. The adepts of the New Age have provided an arsenal full of smoking guns, all pointed in the same direction. Those who can stand to read New Age and theosophical books in detail will find that these writers make clear their intentions for us all – just as Hitler did with Mein Kampf and as the Communists have done since Marx and Lenin. This time, let us heed the warning!

Is the New Age movement a conspiracy? No. Conspiracies are usually secretive associations with illegal objectives. New Age leaders and their utopian, globalist allies are open about their aims, and their activities are legal. The goals of the current crop of New Agers and utopians match what radicals have sought since the French Revolution. Their project reveals the permanent vulnerability of mankind to temptation and sin. Consider: God remains forever, and does not change. Human nature does not change, since mankind is created in God’s image. The devil does not change, and the temptations he offers mankind do not change. From the Garden of Eden to the séances of the theosophists, the message is the same: you will not die, and you will be a god. Human response to temptation does not change either; apart from God’s grace, we sin. Therefore, human rebellion against God will follow a consistent pattern. People who wish to rebel against God will find collaborators and mentors to affirm them and to assist them in their plans. (Also, the religious and governmental authorities, by their oft-repeated injustices and abuses, put the same temptations, scandals, and stumbling blocks before their people, again and yet again.) What some fevered observers see as multi-generational, international conspiracies are really just successive groups of fallen men following temptation to its logical conclusion. If New Age and utopian movements show unity and consistent purpose internationally or historically, it arises from the dark spirit they follow, rather than from human conspiratorial skill.

Yoho: Not Jacques Coursteau too! 350,000 a die have to die above the regular death rate to reach the promised land of two billon. This is the Erlich number – what he says is necessary to maintain our civilization. The Georgia Guidestones say only 500 million. I would be this is the chosen number now. They may not even need that many given automation and advanced computing. Given the savagery of the current program, I assume Ted Turner’s gradual program of doing it over 80-100 years is completely out.

Christianity can’t deal with this problem at all. Any attempt to control anything is killing souls for eternity or something. All acorns must become oaks! Sperm cells have rights too, not just eggs. The Gnostics, Occultists, and the East have a far more enlightened view of the cosmos and God. If souls aren’t born here and now, they’ll be born later and/or elsewhere when conditions are right.

What do Christians want? A dying world of ten billion people or more? The author and Barnhardt would grimly assent to this and gamely try to make such a disaster work, claiming God’s Will. There seems to be some Law that serious Christians can’t understand much about the eco-system and the Earth. Father Fahey was interested in organic farming, along with a back to the land school of Catholics back then, Chesterton among them. But they never touched overpopulation to my knowledge, probably not knowing about it.

Og might take a very tack. There’s a Schedule and it’s wrapping it up. Man was never going to solve this problem or any other big problem because we’re too fallen, too flawed. I actually have far more sympathy for this pov than the mainstream orthodoxy of Protestantism, Catholicism, or Orthodoxy. A humble and humane fundamentalism.

The problem with Ted Turner’s voluntary program is that the only people that would participate are the ones who should be exempt from participation. Countries in which the citizens can voluntarily limit population growth should not take on the excess population of those countries that can’t.

It’s the lifeboat game. It’s disappointing to watch the grotesque distortions of reason as otherwise intelligent people refuse to see the sea reaching up to them. Fortunately I’m a good swimmer and not too big on hysterical crowds. If they take me alive I’m kinda hoping they will keep me around for, shall we say, investments in the future…

“Christianity can’t deal with the problem at all.”

It’s not the Christian west that’s over populated, tho.

One of the (former) charms of the US was it’s great landmass, low population density, and homogeneous population. That’s gone now, mostly due to the immigration act of 1965. Do you remember the org. Zero Population Growth, whose mission seems to have been convincing white women in the US not to have children, at the same time opening up our borders to the whole 3rd world?

Clearly a virus is the most practical solution. The wars of the future will be fought by first developing a virus along with a vaccine (mRNA makes this easy enough), then finding a pretext for a vaccination campaign, the unleashing the virus.

      It’s the Green Final Solution.

The technology is at hand, the need clearly proven and he who strikes first will laugh last.

“Dr. Tenpenny is being smeared” (MaryQueen)

They are all crooks, including Dr. Tenpenny. They are getting rich off the virus. The Anti-Vaxx industry is raking in $36 million a year and is worth over a billion to Big Tech.
