Who imagined that in the climactic scene of the blockbuster RussiaGate fantasy, when the curtain was ripped away, the Wizard at the controls would turn out to be… Captain Queeg! We need not rehearse all the depressing particulars of Robert Mueller’s six-hour public humiliation in two House committee hearings in order to reach a set of conclusions about the conduct of his rogue investigation and the perfidious report issued in his name.

One is that Robert Mueller could not have run his investigation. There is even reason to question that he was briefed on the day-to-day developments by the people who did run it — since, for instance, he apparently never heard the phrase “Fusion GPS,” that is, the swarm of flying monkeys who delivered the whole shebang’s predicate documents known as the Steele Dossier simultaneously to the FBI, The Washington Post, and The New York Times beginning in 2016. By his testimony Wednesday, Mr. Mueller gives fresh and tragic meaning to the term useful idiot.

The two-year inquisition was run by attorneys Andrew Weissmann and Jeanie Rhee, two arch Hillary Clinton partisans (the latter a lawyer for the Clinton Foundation), leading now to the conclusion that the Mueller Investigation itself was no less a Clinton operation than the Steele Dossier. I wonder if it will become known whether Mrs. Clinton herself was in regular communication with Weissmann and Rhee during these years, or who were the intermediaries between them. Surely federal attorney John Durham has the mojo to seize phone records of the Mueller Team and find out exactly who was checking in with whom.

I, for one, even doubt that the lingering assertion of Russian “interference” in the 2016 election — taken as dictum by too many dupes — has any merit at all. Rather it was just a foggy byproduct of the mighty gaslighting effort by experienced Intel Community specialists working the zealously biased and credulous news media into a lather of bad faith. All of the Russians and “Russian agents” lassoed into narrative appear to have professional connections to either the CIA, the FBI, the US State department, or Mrs. Clinton’s various networks of myrmidons in the DNC, the Obama administration, and Fusion GPS. These relationships were all sedulously ignored by the Special Counsel’s office — and now they can’t be.

Hence, it is easy to imagine that Attorney General Barr and his lead investigator, Mr. Durham, must now entertain the unappetizing prospect of examining the roles of Mrs. Clinton and the foregoing cast of characters in this melodrama for the purpose of discovering whether this was actually the seditious conspiracy that it appears to have been — with rather horrific possible consequences of grave charges and severe punishments.

In all this long and excruciating public playing-out of dark schemes, Mr. Trump, first candidate and now president, seems to have acted as little more than a tackling dummy for the Mueller Team and its backstage Clinton confederates. He tweeted childishly about the deeply partisan composition of the Mueller Team when he should have mounted a forceful legal opposition to the effrontery of their selection in the first place.

It’s interesting to follow the pronouncements of the bit-players in this spectacle, now that Mr. Mueller has inadvertently destroyed the basis of the sacred narrative. Rep. Jerold Nadler turned up yakking with Anderson Cooper on CNN last night, looking every inch like the Mayor of Munchkin Land, bloviating against the supposed imminent Russian takeover of America (read: by witches) and for the now-receding fool’s errand of impeachment, which would only further expose the criminal culpability of his own Democratic Party in this sordid misadventure. Mr. Cooper looked deeply pained by the chore, and yet his own professional credibility is on the line after two years of allowing himself to be played like a flugelhorn by the folks who matter in this country, and he contested nothing in Mr. Nadler’s mendacious pratings.

And now a fretful silence will descend around this colossal goddamned mess as the momentum of history shifts against the perpetrators of it, and the true machinery of American justice is brought to bear upon them. The playing-out of Act Three will probably coincide with epic global financial disorder in the months ahead, further obscuring what people and nations can do to arrest the collapse of Modernity and its sidekick Human Progress.

Ha! There might be an opportunity to “lock her up” after all.

Yes I agree that after watching around an hour of that performance I came to the conclusion that Mueller probably didn’t even write one whole paragraph in that report. The befuddled look on his face as his “own words” were read to him was a huge tell. He didn’t even remember the names of some very key individuals in the investigation. Jimmy Dore thinks Mueller was bald faced lying. And I’m sure that is in part true, but I also think that he just truly didn’t know much of what is in the report, or much about the 2 plus year investigation.

Well, he deserves to go out as a fool and disgraced before the world. He’s a life long deep state playa. That’s how all those DC, Inc. assholes should go out. Totally discredited.

    • Nightowl July 26, 2019 at 10:17 am #

Based on what I have read about Trump’s approach to business and life in general, I would say he is going to try and lock her up.

The fact that he has exposed something as large as the Russiagate network is huge (just think about how many high level players are involved in govt., media, etc.). Never mind what he’s been busy accomplishing on the side (NK, mass arrests of traffickers, international pushback vs. globalism).

But he’s orange, has bad hair, and distracts his enemies with childish tweets, so clearly this is all just wishful thinking.

      • goldpen July 26, 2019 at 10:30 am #

Yeah if anyone can mess up a perfect opportunity to lock her and her fellow playas up it is the GGG. What Barr needs to do is somehow convince His Golemness to quit tweeting about Russiagate, Mueller, Hillary, etc… He needs to tell the Orange One to let him do his job as AG for the American people and prosecute the real traitors and felonious actors from 2016 to now. But Trump can’t stop looking at this as personal though. Barr, or someone needs to convince him that this was truly treasonous against the country and needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

        • Nightowl July 26, 2019 at 10:47 am #

Question: How do you think Trump graduated from Wharton; became a billionaire in the most competitive real estate market in the world; starred in a hit TV show; became President of the United States; thrived with the entire mulit-billion-dollar MSM in assault mode 24/7; and beat a cabal invoving an ex-president that tried to use the FBI, 5EYES, US DOJ, and SDNY take him out over the course of two years?

At this stage, the mental gymnastics required to think Trump is an idiot are just off the charts.

          • goldpen July 26, 2019 at 10:54 am #

I don’t give a shit what school he went to, or how high is IQ might be. His EQ is very low. He acts like an impetuous brat who has very thin skin.

And his business cred isn’t nearly as great as you think either. He’s filed for bankruptcy many, many times. Often as a way to get out from paying the people who did the work for him.

But if you want to suck him off….well….have at it cult boy.

          • Nightowl July 26, 2019 at 10:59 am #

The fact that you don’t give a shit about his history was clear. I don’t personally care for many of his personal habits and mannerisms, but my point was that idiots don’t usually get far in life. His list of accomplishments is incredible.

I would also suggest reading up on bankruptcy.

          • elysianfield July 26, 2019 at 12:30 pm #

            Nightowl,
I agree with your assessment. It is very easy to be dismissive and label someone stupid when you dislike the individual and do not take the time to understand what might be an unorthodox method. I do not necessarily understand much of what he does, but I certainly recognize genius in how he neutered the powerful mainstream media and defeated the demon sow….

          • goldpen July 26, 2019 at 1:31 pm #

The context of my original post on Trump blowing a chance to truly “lock her up” really had nothing to do with the success he’s had so far in flummoxing the MSM and Dem Party. The context was about shifting into a new gear going forward with regards to Barr going after the real treasonous players legally. This isn’t about scoring political points anymore. Barr would need Trump to stop his tweet storm about the case. Now he can go ahead and go after “the squad”, or the MSM, or Pelosi, etc…. I’m talking solely about the case. I’m betting Barr would agree with this. But he isn’t a worshiper of Trump like Nightowl and many others here are. I have no use for worshipers of political figures. Whether its Obama, Clinton, Reagan, or Trump. Political cult followers are losers. Pathetic losers.

Nightowl I could present tons of evidence that Trump’s business career is a lot of BS. You know why he REALLY doesn’t want his tax returns seen? Because it would show what a fraud he is. He is NOT a billionaire. It has nothing to do with hiding crimes. Only that he is full of shit about his real net worth.

But it wouldn’t matter if I showed you evidence until the end of the year. You worship the GGG. You are in his cult. You are a loser.

          • Nightowl July 26, 2019 at 2:03 pm #

You think I am a cultist for merely posting a list of rather incredible accomplishments from a man you think is an idiot, despite the fact that the average joe (you) has never even come close to achieving any of those.

            Have that TDS checked out.

It is easy to be rich when you start out life rich. Even easier when Daddy gives you millions and puts you on his payroll when you are still a toddler. Easy to get into an Ivy League School when daddy has $$$$ to influence the selection process. Trump has to be a borderline retard to lose money in the casino business and file for bankruptcy. Then again maybe there was nothing left after the Mob took their cut. He has the vocabulary of a 5th grader and the temperament of a toddler. He is fat, old and bald yet he looks in the mirror and sees Brad Pitt. The only redeeming quality is that he does have balls….something Obama was lacking. Could you see Trump sitting on his hands if McConnell withheld a hearing for his nomination for a Supreme Court Justice? The Republicans and most Democrats are scared shitless of him and maybe that is a good thing. Regardless…..he will win re-election easily considering the pathetic gang the democrats are marching out…..and I admit I lean left…..but OMG….the democrats might as well just give up now before they lose the House. The Senate and Executive branches are gone for a generation now……

          • goldpen July 28, 2019 at 7:20 pm #

You know Nightowl, the fact of the matter is I never called Trump an idiot as you claim. In fact I used the same basic words that JHK has used for a few years now when talking about Trump.

So do you also accuse the proprietor of this site as having TDS?

Look, I know you revere Trump. Probably have a few MAGA hats and a life size cut out of The Donald. Whatever floats your boat.

I myself am a habitual GOP primary voter. I come from a GOP family in Texas and am a conservative. I’ve made it clear that I think Mueller and his ilk should be prosecuted. But I do not revere anyone in political office. I don’t have any political heroes. But I’ll compliment one every now and then if worthy of a complement. And Trump does deserve kudos from me for winning over Hillary. That is his greatest achievement. But he does have some very definite negatives which I am not going to gloss over. If you want to only see the good, well more power too you. That’s exactly what cult members do to cult leaders. That is just a fact. Have that checked out Sunshine.

          • goldpen July 26, 2019 at 11:02 am #

It’s okay to privately take it personal. I would. But for Barr to go about prosecuting the real bad actors the President needs to publicly act…..oh I don’t know….Presidential.

            Key word “publicly”. Get it?

          • Nightowl July 26, 2019 at 11:11 am #

            Standards move.
            What is acceptable behavior now?
The bar has fallen so low public discourse is ridiculous at best so what is Presidential anymore?
Insulting the supreme court at a state of the union?
How about telling the other party they can come along for the ride as long as the sit in the back with their mouth shut.

it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations

Maybe calling half the country deplorable?
Call all opponents of same-sex marriage bigots
Call the Pro-Life movement a “War on Women”
Call all immigration enforcement advocates racists
Call the GOP the enemy of Hispanics
Where does one draw that line on acceptable language?
Talk about sewing the seeds of discord and then complaining when one of the seeds germinates into a brash loud mouth orange man bad plant.

          • montsegur July 27, 2019 at 2:04 am #

The bar has fallen so low public discourse is ridiculous at best so what is Presidential anymore?

benr, that is an excellent topic to bring up.

            Just what is “presidential”?

I’ll take a stab. It is a very flexible notion of how the POTUS should deport himself, based solely on public perceptions of presidents since World War II ended.

And that’s it — nothing more. As far as I know, nothing formally defines how the POTUS should conduct himself in terms of personal behavior.

The problem with “presidential” as it is understood today is that it is a defective definition when one considers ALL of the presidents of the USA. Andrew Jackson and Theodore Roosevelt would certainly not have met the definition; yet, they are not viewed as failures by either historians or (what is left of) popular memory.

So Donald Trump does not stick to the ‘script’ followed by the postwar presidents. I really don’t care. What I care about are issues, and, seeing if our government is up to formulating realistic policy to address those issues.

            Cheers

After watching Netflix’s The Great Hack it looks like the “patriots” favorite term “Lock her up” was devised by a Brit from Cambridge Analytics. It shows how they could change the opinion of the “persuadables” vote(not deplorable) to win The Brexit vote, Trump and the Cruz voting. I would think it would make Trump voters feel kind of used but HK’s 400 blogs on the subject say different.

Cambridge Analytics invented “Lock her up”? What else did they invent? The Internet?

It’s not “manufacturing consent” to suggest something a target group has wanted to do for decades.

Shite documentary that manages, ironically, to lead viewers to believe that some caricature of a programmer that quit years before the election, and some self-aggrandizing skank are whistleblowers from a company that amplified memes. Not vernacular memes, Dawkins/Dennett memes.
Because nobody believed the Clintons to be corrupt.
Nobody believed that Clinton needed to be held accountable for Benghazi and her server emails. Because nobody had suspicions about the corrupt DNC that collided with Clinton to give her the nomination, because nobody that used Facecrook had any idea that they are the product and that the silly promoted questionnaires are there to get you to provide more personal information.
This documentary wants you to believe that the 2016 voters were all ignorant and victimized.
By a British social media amplifier.
Only people that believe this are the imbecilic liberals and progressives that believe life takes place on f*****g social media.

The late night comedians had very different takes on Mueller’s testimony from our host. The most neutral was Trevor Noah, who made fun of both sides and admitted that Mueller wasn’t going to help the Democrats like they thought. The most partisan was Samantha Bee, who outright called for impeachment, although Jimmy Kimmel was close behind followed by Seth Meyers.

As for “epic global financial disorder in the months ahead,” the most likely cause for that would be if the U.S. defaults on its debts. I doubt that will happen, as the Republicans and Democrats in Congress have agreed on a deal to suspend the debt ceiling until after the 2020 election. All that needs to be done is for Our Cartoon President to sign it. That’s not guaranteed. Just the same, there will be economic hardship, as 12,000 stores are predicted to close in the U.S. this year, 5,000 more than have already been announced. The Retail Apocalypse rolls on.

“As for “epic global financial disorder in the months ahead,” the most likely cause for that would be if the U.S. defaults on its debts.”

        Neon,
I do not think this will be the case, because default is politically abhorrent. They will monetize the debt by destroying the value of the dollar and paying off the debts with dollars that are almost worthless.

How do I know this? Because they are currently doing it.

When the rest of the world throws off the yoke of the dollar’s hegemony…this is when you will see financial disorder, and the effects will immediately become apparent.

The countries holding debt denominated in dollars have no choice but to accept them in payment. They will not, however, have to sell oil, food, or other products to the United States…they will demand hard currency for their products, and this is when the vast inflation in the US will become apparent at street level.

This has been an exposure of how corrupted the Deep State really is.

I would love to see Clinton and her cronies clobbered over this debacle. But you know, if the investigations that will continue start hitting all the conspiratorial cast of characters, a lot of GOPers are going to go to jail also. Between this debacle and Jeffrey Epstein, the Elite in DC are a little shakier today. Someone tried to throttle Epstein yesterday, and already the Deep State is trying to pass it off as a suicide attempt. BS, someone like Epstein has no remorse, no desire to end it all. Just another Vince Foster or Seth Rich!

The real culprits of the whole thing is us, the American people, who elect in the scum that fabricate all this tripe. Our government is a reflection of us, and that really scares me to death.

I think you are correct. With the “rank” of the people involved, the amount of evidence may not be relevant. Too many of these people have mutual obligations, even if those obligations are simply kompromat. Then there is the government employee love of staking out turf, and so the hundreds of bureaucratic fiefdoms involved will all have to get their piece of the action, or there will be delay upon delay. None of them really want to see notions like transparency and accountability enforced because they know their own performance will be scrutinized.

This national psychodrama has been a wasteful and potentially fatal distraction for the Republic. As JHK and others here have pointed out many times, the USA has much bigger fish to fry. If the Dems are to be damned for anything, it should be for this monumental waste of time, focus, money, and emotional energy.

        Cheers

Last night Tucker Carlson interviewed Terry Turchie, a former FBI Deputy Assistant Director with twenty years of experience in Russian counter-intelligence:

      https://video.foxnews.com/v/6064081171001/#sp=show-clips

Turchie claims that he and his former colleagues he has spoken with since the recent Mueller fiasco all have come to the conclusion that since 2016 the FBI and its DNC handlers within the agency and outside the agency have been acting as “a hostile intelligence service” to remove Trump with the FBI having been compromised by the DNC.

He mentions the Trump Tower meeting with Don Jr. and Eric and others from the Trump campaign with “the Russian lawyer”. SHE called Don Jr. to have the meeting. She met with Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS prior to and after the meeting. Then Glenn Simpson met with Perkins Coie, the DNC’s law firm that hired Steele to do the “dossier” which was leaked hither and yon. And it was the DNC’s law firm, Perkins Coie that would NOT allow the FBI to investigate the server allegedly “hacked” by Russia and then leaked to Wikileaks. Instead the FBI allowed Crowdstrike to investigate the server and make a “report”.

Turchie’s main concern is that the DNC, through their “friends” at the highest levels of the FBI, simply weaponized intelligence to bring down Trump as an antidote to their collective TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) they all “caught” the night their queen got her political ass handed to her.

Supposedly Attorney General Barr has US attorney Durham doing an investigation into all this, hopefully going back to Obama, Rice and Power’s “unmasking” of Carter Page etc. and obtaining the phony FISA order to spy on Page using the phony DNC generated “Steele Dossier” to obtain the warrant.

I think the Democrats know a legal shit storm is brewing of the highest order that will blow them all out of the swamp. The best they have to keep the MSM busy is to keep bleating about Trump’s impending “impeachment”.

Turchie’s statement to Carlson is worth watching a few times just to let the REAL timeline of the deep corruption on the part of the DNC and FBI that occurred during the 2016 election really sink in.

The irrepressible JHK has managed to bamboozle the highly bamboozable into believing master Trump is completely innocent of any and all charges. Trump surely did attempt to obstruct justice by asking Don McGahn to have Mueller fired. Then pressuring McGahn to lie about the demand to do so. The White house counsel resigned over the matter. Trump himself decared he was f*cked after learning a special counsel would look into obstruction and collusion. Trump admitted that if approached by a foreign gov’t with info on an opponent he would invite the interference. Another shout out to Russia’s Putin I suppose.
JHK is a senile old fool that despises tolerance and any sort of social progressive change. He is the past in the manner of a Joe Biden. JHK is doing his part in helping America swallow Trump pathology. I’m going to assume JHK, like Trump, is not a godly man.

He wasn’t asking permission, he was telling his WH counsel to fire Mueller. In that way the little rat bastard could distance himself from his own stink. I know that represents too much reason and logic for you, but it’s the truth just the same.

I second your emotion regarding the possibility of Madame Secretary running for President. It ain’t happening. It would be like liberals still being afraid of Sarah Palin running for President. We’re not, because we know that’s not happening, either. Who needs Palin while Our Cartoon President is in office?

The fear of Madame President reminds me of our host comparing Representative Nadler to the Mayor of Munchkin Land warning about being taken over by witches. If I want to see that, I’ll watch television, where there are plenty of witches in fantasy and horror shows, although the latter are still infested with zombies.

I hope that cackling bitch is truly dead politically, but as we’ve seen in too many movies and political campaigns, bad people often return from the dead.

It’s possible the 24 or so corrupt dumbasses currently vying for the Dem nomination are so incompetent and openly socialist-friendly that the Donkeys may try and get either Mrs. Obama or The Oprah to run. That would make it approximately 26 candidates I’d never vote for unless I’m dead and someone else casts my ballot, but I know a lot of people would vote for them.

Meanwhile a lot of Republicans are running around thinking Mueller’s boffo performance guarantees Trump’s reelection. George H.W. Bush was a juggernaut in 1991, but a year later he lost.

Hillary’s husband, former president Bill Clinton, has become an even larger and more embarrassing liability recently with his brazen lying regarding his relationship with the pedophile, Jeffery Epstein.

Poor Bill claims he only flew 4 times on The Lolita Express. Perhaps he is referring to the 4 times without his Secret Service detail. But it turns out he was logged on the manifest for 26 flights!

And he claims he dropped the relationship in the early 2000’s and they were never good friends. But truth be told, Epstein visited Bill at The White House in the early 1990’s when Bill was President. Several times.

For just these reasons, I think Hillary knows she is done politically.

        ============

Unfortunately, Walter (and other true believers) there will be no fitting reward or punishment. It has taken me many years of life to realize that there is no, nor will there be, any ultimate justice.

As each day passes I see the truth of this with my b-i-l, Peter. He is down in Naples, FL stiffing his many creditors and the collection agencies they have deployed fruitlessly to haunt him. Peter is living rent free in the home of a friend, a ‘snowbird’ who lives in FL during the cooler months then flies northward and spends 6 months in Illinois, which Peter pronounces as Ill-uh-noyz. Somehow in all his nearly 73 years he has never picked up on the fact that the s is silent……..nor does he give a shit. But I digress…….. Peter has serious heart problems and my greatest fear is that he is going to drop dead in his friend’s house and decompose until someone in the neighborhood begins to notice a foul odor.

This is a highly possible outcome and Peter will go off into oblivion without suffering the justice he so richly deserves. And so it shall be with Hillary and the rest of the nefarious characters we read and comment about here every day.

The Dems best chance at winning in 2020 is to run someone who looks steady and reassuring to the public. While HRC may have a chance, I think Biden is their most likely choice.

The more important fact about the Democratic slate will be the #2 spot, i.e. who is going to succeed if the new POTUS croaks (which is quite possible if either HRC or Biden is elected). The #2 slot is where the danger lies. I think the Dems will try to throw the left a bone with that slot.

They must continue the onslaught to try to offset the counter investigations coming. If the IG and Dunham are allowed full rein, the demise of the Clinton cast of characters may occur, plus a whole lot of other folks. You can bet that the delay tactics are aimed at Barr, trying to slow him down until 2020.

Re-election of Trump will destroy the Democrats as these new investigations will be allowed to unfold. If a Dem is elected, the investigations will be locked up and thrown into the Potomac River. The Dems are getting cornered, and will come out swinging, you can bet on it.

I have never, nor do I now advocate murder as a means to any end, period! However, when you consider that so many of those in our government utilize it frequently to solve their dilemmas, I am left wondering why HRC is allowed to live by those who are now in jeopardy. I can think of two reasons, the first being that they are far more afraid of her than of any legal/social consequences. The second is that Mrs. Clinton may indeed have the full backing of the most vile and evil being ever Cast Out of the Pearly Gates. Watch out if the second is true for it will certainly get ugly if this is the case.

I was going to write in that I am suspicious Mueller was senile going into their debacle and was chosen for his reputation and the ease of manipulation by the evil cast of characters that he appointed. My gosh, when they asked him if he knew that the investigators were all rabid Clintonites, he denied prior knowledge. The investigation should have been terminated in 2017 when the identities of these folks was exposed. Where were the cowardly GOPers to shut this BS down. Probably watching Mitt Romney or John Kasich for President propaganda. Down with the Deep State!

If so, it has been that way for some time. Watch the video I posted of him getting roasted about Obama’s IRS targeting people over politics. His performance was nearly identical to the one yesterday.

Yes, I doubt Epstein has very many days left on planet Earth. Assange may survive to tell his tale but that is questionable as well.

We are witnessing history. Great wars with millions of deaths have been fought for the same thing we are witnessing today. A few “suicides” mean nothing to these people.

The civility of the American form of government is what is at stake here. And the main reason why I hope they can cull out all the scum in the Deep State.

        Wishful thinking?

“true machinery of American justice”? Hoo boy.

What could that possibly portend, or even be, at this dark perigee in our national history? And, as noted, the really intractable problems are fast piling up, while The Greatest Show On Earth keeps so many glued to their sets and devices. Another collective blind spot is being fully exploited. Mutterings about Russian meddling are still everywhere, and the spirit of the Cold War is back for a rerun. There could hardly be anything less useful now.

The playing-out of Act Three will probably coincide with epic global financial disorder

Just like Hillary provoked the 2008 crash by denying the money to conservative Lehman Brothers while bailing out the hooligan Bear Sterns?

Hopefully, this time Barr and Durham will pour a bucket of water on that Witch.

P.S. According to yesterday’s interview with Sean Hannity, President Trump had already declassified FISA application based on the Steele Dossier.

    • hmuller July 26, 2019 at 11:04 am #

      Fin,

I think you’re confused. Goldman Sachs, AIG, and others were bailed out after the financial crisis manifested itself in September 2008, following the Lehman collapse.

But Bear Stearns went out of business a little earlier and was sold on May 29, 2008 to JPMorgan Chase at the $10-per-share price.

    • benr July 26, 2019 at 11:14 am #

There were many reasons why 2008 happened.

Barney franks was sleeping with someone high up in the Freddie mac organizationso he lied about the solvency of the institute for years.

      http://archive.boston.com/bostonglobe/editorial_opinion/oped/articles/2008/09/28/franks_fingerprints_are_all_over_the_financial_fiasco/

Since he was slipping his frank in the other guy so to speak he ignored the problems and lied about them!

      https://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/topic/383571-barney-frank-finally-admits-he-got-his-boyfriend-a-job-at-fannie-mae/

We also have the huge crackdown and multi hundred million dollar fines for laundering cartel money in the banks! This really started in 2007- 2008.

      https://www.reuters.com/article/us-hsbc-probe/hsbc-became-bank-to-drug-cartels-pays-big-for-lapses-idUSBRE8BA05M20121212

    • FincaInTheMountains July 26, 2019 at 1:16 pm #

But the most interesting thing is that statements about the inevitability of the collapse of the United States, precisely because it is the issuer of world money, occur long before the global financial crisis of 2008, but soon after the start of President Bush’s second term, when he stabilized the American stock market and cleaned the Fed from Alan Greenspan, along with his “Creative Financial Instruments”, began to reorganize the US financial system, which was thwarted by the notorious refusal of assistance to the bank “Lehman brothers”.

And we should consider the role the all-powerful female US Senator from New York and the candidate for 2008 Presidential elections played in that refusal, having in mind that the Bank “Lehman brothers” was used by the Bush Clan to finance the 2008 Presidential campaign of Barack Obama.

Of course it didn’t sit well with investors who realized that instead of stabilizing the financial system, certain US politicians are eager to use the Financial Crisis to settle political scores.

  14. Exscotticus July 26, 2019 at 10:54 am #

Sorry, TDSters, if you thought impeachment was elusive before, it’s not even a remote possibility after Mueller’s performance.

It was a miscalculated risk that failed spectacularly. If Mueller was the prosecution’s star witness, then they should have declared him a hostile one. Mueller’s inability to answer the most basic questions about his own report could only be attributed to ignorance, dementia, or deceitfulness. None of those possibilities advance the TDS agenda, and were in fact bombshells that support Trump’s narrative of a witch hunt.

The Dems thought Mueller was going to read his report out loud and captivate the nation. What they got instead was more like a convicted sex offender reading to kids at some Drag Queen Story Hour.

    • JohnAZ July 26, 2019 at 11:09 am #

Impeachment has become a political ploy. The Dems foolishly picked up on the Russiagate narrative for two reasons, to trap Trump and to block investigation of the Obama/Clinton collusion with Russia that was going on at the same time. Well, it has rum the gamut, Trump did not collude and now the Dems are in the hot seat.

      May they burn in Hell!

      • Nightowl July 26, 2019 at 11:24 am #

The Russia narrative was developed back in the primaries. They tried smearing Jill Stein and a few others with it too. I remember this well as I liked Stein for a while.

There were leaked DNC mails over at Wiki where the Mook, Podesta, and others are discussing using Hillary’s Russian achilles on others.

  15. JohnAZ July 26, 2019 at 11:19 am #

What really bugs me is the arrogance of the Democratic Party.

They felt they were owed the 2016 election, like there is no competition from the conservative side. The recount states, they run dossiers, all the BS we have witnessed is caused by one thing, the Democrats feeling they were betrayed by the Deplorables and how could we have lost with Hillary?

The number one reason, HRC is one of the most disgusting power driven people we have ever had in national politics, number two the Dems had no ideas on the issues, and three, the folks out there have figured out how much they have been played by the Dems.

Now their issue is self-preservation as the boomerang and on its way back. I wonder who has financed all this BS over the last twenty years or so. I have a pretty good idea.

I hope their down slide continues! And I hope CNN and MSNBC both fade out of relevance.

The best thing Dems could do right now would be to stop doing anything. They started off the 2020 election season with yet another episode of a collusion sitcom that should have been cancelled two seasons ago. The public is nauseated. Well, you really should keep in mind what a very narrow EC victory Trump won in 2016. And regardless of what the Russians may or may not have done, I maintain that the lion’s share of the credit for Trump being president goes to the DNC for their arrogance in taking it for granted that trying to force Hillary Clinton down the country’s throat wouldn’t blow up in their faces. If they would have run Joe Biden or anybody else in their party against Trump, Orange Man would not be leading our country right now.

    Immigration? walls?

of walls and wetbacks, cabbages and kabbalas>

Gadi Taub’s essay about how Israel is struggling to cope with a rising tide of illegal immigration.
The “struggle” is made much easier by the big fences along Israel’s borders, which Israel somehow managed to build despite all the left-wing opposition to them. And somehow, despite being such a big, bad, un-Jewish racist and xenophobe, Benjamin Netanyahu keeps getting elected as prime minister. And Israel grants v. v. few asylum requests and has tough rules on citizenship.
All in all, I don’t think Israel has much of a problem with illegal immigration compared to the US, UK, France and other goy nations. Or with legal immigration.

The Great One ought to have known that Witches are women tasked as purveyors of supernatural powers. The correct terminology for a man engaged in the black arts is a Warlock. It is a new phase; a ‘Warlock Hunt’, which ( no pun intended ) he could have conjured up and scored popularity points with the proletariat.

    • venuspluto67 July 26, 2019 at 12:58 pm #

I wonder why this whole affair has become such a festering sore. Sure, crimes were committed by the Obama administration and the DOJ/CIA complex, but still, the whole thing should have never gotten beyond the inner sanctum of DC. Does this mean the deep state is unraveling?

What if this really means the “powers” simply don’t care at this point … they know the entire system is about to collapse, and it simply doesn’t matter … in fact … it might act as a smoke screen as they all crawl onto their Lear jets and make their way to the antarctic safe zone.

I wish I could share Mr. Kunstler’s optimism that any of this was going to result in any prosecutions of anyone of consequence.
The “zealously biased and credulous” news media – it goes way beyond bias, what some of them did.
Witness Scott Pelley’s “reporting” on Inauguration Day. He even interrupted the coverage of the event (which Americans had a right to see) to sit and chat with some “expert” on Russia.
I just cannot fathom what drives a decent, intelligent man to do such a thing.
He either did it for money, fame, or thought he was in service to a higher power of some sort.
He can’t have been that stupid, he just can’t.
    Or could he?
He’s not the only one, he’s just one glaring example of someone I would have thought was better than that.

    • goldpen July 26, 2019 at 1:16 pm #

Scott Pelley did what he was told to do. He never had an original thought, at least not one that he acted on, during his entire “journalistic” career.

      Beryl

None of them are better than that. The MSM is filled with the obedient mouthpieces of globalist propaganda – overpaid and perhaps blackmailed to all repeat the same narrative with the same buzzwords.

NBC’s mendacious Lester Holt is perhaps the lowest of the low. Example. The other night he reported Bill Clinton’s claim to have taken only 4 trips on Epstein’s jet; and left it at that. No mention of the documentary evidence showing Clinton is a liar and there were well over 20 trips. Then he shows footage of Trump talking to Epstein at a party in 1992 (27 years ago) to “prove their close connection”. So Trump is portrayed as closer to Epstein than Clinton.

This is the same Lester Holt who as moderator became Hillary’s tag team debate partner in 2016, “correcting” statements Trump made, and arguing the facts with Trump at length. Maybe, I misunderstand the role of “moderator”.

As I mentioned a week or so ago, Anthony and Huma still aren’t divorced.
I saw a claim in the media that no one knows the status of their marriage, but yes they do. If Huma had re-filed her divorce petition it would be something the media could check up on.
Anthony was also spotted moving into the building Huma has been living in.

I don’t care about their domestic arrangements, I just thing the whole business with Anthony and the “shared laptop” and some unusual teenage girl who writes open letter to the FBI director, and a tabled divorce, bears more scrutiny.
Why was Anthony charged under the statute he was?
Where did the girl come from?
Where would someone find an underage girl quickly, when they needed one?

We just blew through the $22 trillion debt mark earlier this year. This year, we are looking at a roughly $900 billion deficit. A deal that has been reached that will only increase our deficit by $2 trillion over the next two years pushing our debt up to $22 trillion.

    SUMMER IS HERE

I remember a few summers back coming across a story out of Florida of 3 black teen girls, between the ages of 13 and 15, who were out at 1am and stole a car, got in a high speed car chase, and ended up crashing into a pond and drowning.

And they had something like 7 prior convictions for auto theft between them.

Just think about that for a minute: imagine being 15 years old and you already have a criminal record for grand theft auto!
Huh…the worst thing my 15 year old ever did was being tardy for school once.

Must be a “black thing” that I wouldn’t understand. Not to mention, my “white privilege” prevents me from seeing that the fact that my children don’t have criminal records, and many black youths do, is actually MY fault!

      wow, nice segway?????

    • BackRowHeckler July 26, 2019 at 2:28 pm #

Car thefts are big in these parts, Big. They come at night from the housing projects, into small towns and suburbs. They look for unsecured cars, cars with keys left inside them, cars they can hotwire. They were here in December, all thru our neighborhood, and got 2 cars up the mountain from here, in an area we call Mafia Hill (for obvious reasons) We got extra attention from LE because there are also judges and DAs living around here; the next day there was a shootout in Hartford, and it was with the ‘Youths’ that were here the previous nite, in one of the cars they stole.

Some homeowners have defended their property with firearms, and have gotten in trouble. Some of the ‘Youths’ have been killed in the stolen cars, in horrific wrecks.

I liken it to indian raids in the days of the old west. Our lefty legislature has attempted to deal with the problem by decriminalizing auto theft for anyone under 21 years of age. As there are no consquences, car thefts continue.

“Must be a “black thing” that I wouldn’t understand. “

You clearly haven’t visited Derry or Newcastle or Liverpool.

It has special touches in Northern Ireland, as you’d almost expect:

In Northern Ireland, joyriding is a common crime and many people have campaigned against it. Since the 1980s a number of youth gangs have been in existence, particularly in nationalist areas of Belfast, dedicated to joyriding and other criminal activities.

During The Troubles, paramilitaries such as the Provisional IRA administered to suspected joyriders extralegal punishment usually consisting of breaking their fingers or kneecaps in order to temporarily or permanently incapacitate them from operating most motor vehicles. These punishments are still given today by the Continuity IRA, a breakaway organization from the Provisional IRA..

New IRA, Continuity IRA, WTF-do-you-think-you’re-doing IRA… This border hoo-hah’s going to be fun.

NI’s got some of the best orthopaedic surgeons in the country, though, not surprisingly. They can’t treat acute cases of shoehorning, though.

In 5 seperate rub out attempts between 1914 and 1930, Legs Diamond took at least 20 rounds, and survived. Legs was tough.

Dutch Schultz, behind at least 3 of the assassination attempts, exclaimed, “Aint there nobody here who can take out Legs so he stays taken out?”

Legs Diamond was on Arnold Rothstein’s security detail, and a member of ‘Murder Inc’. He was no stranger to the in and outs of mob hits, Legs (such as they were in the 1920s. In those days Sicilians did not dominate organized crime in NY. Irish and Jewish gangsters were big players too) They finally got to Legs in a boarding house in Albany, where he was standing trial for tax evasion. Its an unsolved murder, but the Albany PD, operating as a crime syndicate itself, (the Chief was gunned down by a detective a few years later) was suspected.

Jimmy Walker was mayor when all this was going on, The Roaring 20s, The Jazz Age, morphing into the desperate years of the Great Depression. Oh what a time!

Exactly right Jim, Andrew Weissmann and Jeannie Rhee running the show for Hillary, with Huma Abedin maybe giving her moral support. “Don’t worry we’ll get him, sweetie”. Comey and Strzok etc., lending a hand.

Did Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller, have a hand in this? They picked a supposedly upright, Republican FBI guy and an ex Marine to boot. What could go wrong?

What just happened boggles the mind. A deep seated, all out coup attempt against the President somehow morphing into Mueller’s morass. Thank God it did.

But they’ve already succeeded in part by getting the House in 2018.

I’d like to believe that something worthwhile comes out of all this, like a cleaning out of the Augean corruption in Deep State agencies, misconduct they didn’t even try to hide so confident were they of their positions, so confident that there would be no adverse repercussions, because lo and behold, what have we been talking about these many months in connection with the Mueller investigation?

No matter what I’d LIKE to believe, my true inclination is otherwise. If the Deep State can manage to overlook truly awesome Clinton piles of crap, and they really were elephantine, I think they’ll manage to do the same with the many malefactors involved in this complete fucking debacle. What they came up with for Clinton was childish in its simplicity, no criminal intent, for an issue where “intent” wasn’t even relevant. Yet it flew.

What will they say this time? Insufficient evidence? Two words, easy to understand, and a huge swathe of the American populace will be willing to close their eyes to the obvious lie.

Does federal attorney John Durham have the mojo? Do any of them? My question is whether Trump has anybody in the DOJ and other government departments willing to go to bat for him and whether they’re willing to suffer the personal hits coming their way because they are surely coming. As sure as we sit here they’ll lose friends, maybe family associations, they’ll suffer professionally and financially and maybe put themselves in legal jeopardy. Look at what they did to Flynn. That’s what to expect, all kinds of legal booby traps strewn in their path, even if they’ve done nothing wrong or even questionable.

One cause for hope is that so self-assured were these many Deep State actors, that they didn’t do even a half-assed job in trying to oust Trump. They had nothing but sloppy innuendo, crude bluffs, and they figured that it was enough. You know, repeat and repeat and repeat and use your minions in the main-stream media to create a frenzy and Trump would just go away.

How many dozens of times did they say “bombshell”, how many times did they say “this is it”, “this is the end”, “the walls are closing in”, “this is the turning point”. They literally could not be bothered to properly construct fraudulent narratives, backed up by convincingly faked documents, make-believe investigations, false testimony, you know, a well put together frame-up. I’d like to play poker against these idiots.

The cause for hope is in the self confidence of these clowns, that even if they get their way with this Russia-gate calamity, that their over-estimation of themselves leads to their collapse and removal, ie an American version of the Fall of the Berlin Wall. But that takes a society at odds with them the way that the Czechs and East Germans and Poles had had enough of their own regimes. I don’t see it yet.

It’s hard to cleanse the system when half the judges are working for the enemy. Maybe martial law and summary executions are the only way to wash away the filth when it’s at the top, clinging to power.

How about a new brand of dog food called “Globalist in a Can”.

    • tucsonspur July 26, 2019 at 3:40 pm #

Who can even navigate this sticky web? For example, John Huber was nominated by Barack Obama. He then offered his resignation at the request of the current administration, but was then brought back by Sessions and Trump. He is supposed to be investigating the FBI and the Clinton Foundation. Where is his allegiance, and how much grit will he have squaring off against the Clintons?

Call it what you will, mojo, moxie, sense of duty, stamina, whatever. It certainly will be required in large amounts.

But we must finally go on the offensive. In our case the evidence IS there. Whatever it takes, we must use it. We don’t have as much media to rally as do the Dems, but my sense is that the mental undercurrent of the people is simply that ‘they done him wrong’ and that they want to see justice. People feel sorry for a beaten dog.

      I don’t see it yet.

The USA is in for decades of social conflict and outbursts of violence. What was wounded for fifty years won’t be healed in eight.

The Dem-Media frenzy of the last three years struck me as remarkably similar to the use of polemics by the Bolsheviks to disempower the Mensheviks.

The system that preceded had the advantage of bridging the Mason-Dixon Line with segregationist Democrats in the same party with liberal Democrats and conservative Republicans cohabiting with liberal Republicans. All this meant that a modus vivendi had to be found within for the sake of party solidarity and, as a fortunate by-product, national solidarity.

No more. All that went away with the political realignment. Nationalist impulses within America’s two founding ethnicities, North and South, prevailed with the assist of politicians. Now Democrats are the ostensible representative of the North and the Republicans the party of the South. No matter that both parties in reality serve monied interests to the great disadvantage of the country as a whole and especially the interests of America’s industrial working class. Which, of course, brings us to the situation we find today.

Like you say, fifty years of strife. I agree as to what’s coming, more of the same with outbursts of violence, with a North-South ethnic divide greatly aggravated by trade and investment policies that ruined huge swathes of the interior.

hmuller and Tusconspur, both you guys reference “sticky webs” ie never mind the merits of the case, the real question is one of loyalties and who’s working for who.

hmuller gave us one potential method of clearing the way, one that’s time tested and reliable. Someone said that change comes one funeral at a time but this was in reference to how old ideas give way to new ideas in the academic world. The problem with this method is that outside those ivy-covered buildings the exigencies of life are somewhat more urgent and so what hmuller is talking about is a somewhat speeded up version. We saw this in practice with Hitler and Stalin and their fellas and also with Mao and Pol Pot. You want to get to where you’re going in a hurry so you don’t abide the least opposition. Fart in the wrong direction and you’re in the gulag or you meet your end in a grotty basement room with a drain-pipe in the floor.

Not surprisingly, given the bloody nature of the civil conflicts that preceded the regimes of Stalin and Mao, the body count from their purges was gigantic including a huge number of people whose talents could have been useful. Hitler, idiotically, legitimized the extermination of European Jewry, as destructive an act for western civilization as there’s ever been. Given the monstrosity of it all Germany’s been living with a guilt complex ever since and I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that it took the wind out of the sails of the West in general and as a civilizational idea. Why? It’s like my now deceased uncle said, there were more fascists outside of Germany than inside it ie it wasn’t just the einsatzgruppen doing the killing.

Sometimes, depending on the situation, it comes down to bullets in foreheads. How else would the Nazis have been dealt with? Sometimes asking nicely doesn’t work as Chamberlain found out. But, as we’ve seen repeatedly in other situations, once the killing frenzy starts it’s hard to stop.

Ok, this is where I’m going: we’ve been here before with the end of the Roman Republic and the start of the Empire. The institutions of the Republic were dysfunctional and so were the people running them. Sound familiar? It wasn’t inevitable that Augustus assumed the mantle, and it wasn’t peaceful, rather the opposite, but his assumption solved a lot of problems. It paved the way for two hundred years of relative peace in the empire but also sowed the seeds of its demise, at least in the West. Will we learn from that era? I doubt it. Is this the way forward for us? It’s possible but not necessarily. In parts of Europe? IMO much more likely.

      • hmuller July 27, 2019 at 11:26 pm #

Sounds like I’m being compared to Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot!

I don’t see the globalists as just some special interest group motivated by selfish greed.

I see them as the demonically led, human hating instigators of a truly evil totalitarian society long in the planning. They want a world of high tech total surveillance and control which enslaves our bodies, minds and souls; breaking everything decent and human within us.

The human race has a right to defend itself, it’s very nature and identity, from such malevolent entities by any means necessary.

No, no, no, I’m not comparing you to those Hitler etc. I guess I’m recounting some historical examples where governance breaks down and descends into mayhem. Governance is breaking down in the US so where is it going? What replaces it? How nasty does the process get?

    Gateway Pundit
    Jim Holt
    7/26/19

On May 17, 2017 Deputy and Acting Attorney General Rod Rosenstein signed the document to appoint former FBI Chief Robert Mueller as Special Counsel to investigate President Trump on collusion with Russia during the 2016 campaign.

Rosenstein knew there was no collusion but ordered the Special Counsel anyway.  Rosenstein then approved controversial far left Democrat Andrew Weissmann to run the Special Counsel.  Rosenstein knew Rosenstein would run the operation because he knew Robert Mueller was suffering from severe dementia.
Weissmann then hired all far left Hillary supporting attorneys and went to work.  Weissmann indicted and jailed Trump associates on process crimes.  He refused to investigate the criminal actions of the Obama administration’s spying on candidate Trump.  Weissmann indicted Russian operatives and companies to appear legitimate.  Weissmann harassed Trump officials for two years in the hope that someone would fabricate a story so he could indict Trump.

Shortly after Rosenstein hijacked the Justice Department from Jeff Sessions and became the de facto Attorney General, he penned his first scope memo on May 17, 2017 authorizing Robert Mueller to investigate the so-called (non-existent) Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, authorized Mueller to investigate three areas: “i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; [and] iii) any other matters within the scope of [obstruction of justice laws].”
In the Spring of 2018, it was revealed that Rosenstein penned his second scope memo on August 2nd, 2017 and from what we have seen in the unredacted portions, he authorized Special Counsel Robert Mueller to investigate allegations that former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort “committed a crime or crimes by colluding with Russian government officials with respect to the Russian government’s efforts to interfere with the 2016 election for President of the United States, in violation of United States law,” as well as allegations that Paul Manafort “committed a crime or crimes arising out of payments he received from the Ukrainian government before and during the tenure of President Viktor Yanukovych.”
It’s important to note that Rosenstein’s scope memo giving Mueller authorization to hunt down Manafort was 2 weeks after the FBI raided Manafort’s home looking for bank records.
To this day, that second ‘scope memo’ is redacted and only a handful of lawmakers have seen it.
Rosenstein, Weissmann and Mueller used the bogus Steele dossier from 2016 to 2019 knowing it was a bogus report.
Rosenstein withheld information that the FBI had opened an obstruction of justice probe o President Trump before the Mueller investigation.
Rod Rosenstein lied to President Trump and said he was not under investigation.

Rod Rosenstein plotted to oust President Trump by wearing a wire to a White House meeting.
And on Wednesday the country found out Rod Rosenstein and Andrew Weissmann used Robert Mueller in their plot to remove President Trump.
It was very clear from Mueller’s testimony that he is suffering from severe dementia.
    Rosenstein and Weissman knew this.
That’s why Mueller was NEVER at the meeting with Trump lawyers.
Rosenstein and Andrew Weissmann knew Robert Mueller was suffering from severe dementia.  They used him anyway to con the American public that their nefarious plot to remove the president was legitimate.
Rod Rosenstein should be arrested immediately.

The overthrow of Trump is not the final goal by any means – the final goal was and still remains to provoke a nuclear war with Russia, and they have almost succeeded on July 1 by arranging a fire on Russian Deep Water Losharik special purpose nuclear submarine, which is also a carrier of Status 1 system, when seven captains of the first rank and a very high-ranking civilian were on board.

Several sources report that the high-ranking civilian on board of Losharik was no other than the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

Russian sailors, at the cost of their lives, managed to save the high-ranking civilian (whoever he was) and according to Vice-Admiral of the Russian Navy to prevent the catastrophe on the planetary scale.

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-07-08/stricken-russian-nuke-sub-crew-prevented-planetary-catastrophe

According to US Media, such catastrophe could be cutting the underwater internet cables, over which Americans download their porn, and hacking the US Electoral System and could not possibly be the retaliation by Russian Strategic Nuclear forces against the targets on continental United States, or 1000-feet high mega tsunami hitting both coasts.

While this Russiagate charade was in progress, Congress passed a two-year budget deal allocating $1.25 trillion per year for the MIIC and a resulting $1.1 trillion deficit for 2020. No pushback and no qustions askedby the MSM which is par for the course.

Russiagate’s, like Zippergate before it, real purpose was to convince us, the unwashed rubes in flyover country, that we still have a two-party system when, in fact, there is only one ruling party, the Wall Street Party. The politicos first serve the ruling elites of Wall Street and then themselves. For example, lifetme politico, Papa Joe Biden, the supposeed champion of the working man, who said he was one of us living paycheck to paycheck, is now worth $50 million. Good work if you can get it!

While watching Mueller’s testimony, I couldn’t help but notice that most of his legislative inquisitioners were at one time prosecuting attorneys of some kind or exDA’s. No wonder nothing gets accomplished or nothing changes in DC. Besides being on the take, they just argue each other senseless. America needs more honest engineers, innovators, visionaries and less legal eagles running things,IMHO of course.

Lastly, Trump won the presidency, because many progressive Democratic voters, disillusioned by the DNC’s deliberate sabotage of Bernie’s campaign, stayed home or voters, who had previously voted twice for Obama, opted for Trump. For the Democrats and MSM to stipulate that voters were swayed by Russian troll farms planting fake news stories is really insulting. GOP, Inc. is a surrogate for the White Man’s (i.e. Traditionalist) party. A highly imperfect surrogate, to be sure. Trump has to justify his tweets & actions by reference to Israel? What’s good for Israel is good for America? Why? Becuz his son-in-law told him so?

Whites are the only peoples who have no direct, blue-checked mark approved advocacy organizations. Some day, that will change. Until that time, we have to make do with ‘Orange Man Bad.’

Do you remember that song, “Living on a Thin Line,” by the Kinks?

“Our eyes see change but inside
We’re the same as we ever were,

Living this way, each day is a dream.
What am I, what are we supposed to do?

    Now another century nearly gone,
What are we gonna leave for the young?
What we couldn’t do, what we wouldn’t do,
It’s a crime, but does it matter?
Does it matter much, does it matter much to you?
    Does it ever really matter?
    Yes, it really, really matters.

    Now another leader says
Break their hearts and break some heads.
Is there nothing we can say or do?”

Yes, “America” in the lyrics could just as easily be a proxy for “England.”

Friends, we are at the crossroads of history. Do you really want your children & grandchildren to “not matter?”

As for me, I will fight this outcome every step of the way.

Have you ever seen the movie “Nightcrawler”?

This is what America is like now. Robert Mueller pretended that he doesn’t know what’s in his Report. They’re all psychotic….

Nightcrawler is a 2014 American thriller filmwritten and directed by Dan Gilroy in his feature directorial debut. It stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Louis Bloom, a stringer who records violent events late at night in Los Angeles and sells the footage to a local television news station. Rene Russo, Riz Ahmed, and Bill Paxton also star. A common theme in the film is the symbiotic relationship between unethical journalism and consumer demand.

“Nightcrawler” is a great movie. Everyone is psychotic, but they can’t see how crazy they are. This is what the US is like now. Bill Paxton plays the “Stringer” who sets up his news company called “Mayhem”.

The movie “Nightcrawler” is set in Los Angeles. Isn’t Kamala Harris from Los Angeles? Didn’t Kamala Harris say during the last debate that during her tenure as the principal law enforcement officer in Los Angeles that she willfully instructed law enforcement officers NOT to enforce immigration laws?

In politics, they know how sociopathic they are. The unprecedented level of outright lying we are subjected to at present is simply the result of a win-at-all-costs mentality.

When I lived in DC, I had a roomate who worked for one of the largest Dem pollsters in the country. He was a full-blown sociopath, and nearly every one of this workmates I met was simlar.

Tucker just had a whistleblower from Google on who stated that Google has the wherewithal to influence elections of the future to create winners and losers. He also stated that the statement uses that impartial algorithms screen inputs is false, that google information is liberally biased. Tulsi Gabbard is suing Google right now for doing exactly that, sending voter inquiries to spam after the first debate. 25 million dollars worth.

Here is the rub. We are now under the control of a very small group of people who control what we see and read. Our own computer companies control with more effectiveness than the Russian hackers ever thought of. Liberal control of this country is being held in place right now by Donald Trump, period. The globalist elites will take control if Trump loses in 2020.

  42. JohnAZ July 26, 2019 at 9:26 pm #

    A very simple question

If every investigation thrown at the Trump group has been nullified and they are still talking impeachment, the Constitutional meaning of impeachment is being ignored. We are close to where if the idea of a differing party controlling the Congress from the executive branch, the president can be politically removed from his elected office for no reason. That is dangerous to our separation of powers. American voters are about to be disenfranchised. The rule of law will be negated.

Remember that the progressives want the Constitution to be negated in every way possible. They want a Communist oligarchy with themselves in charge. And their globalist masters.

The Supreme Court ruled to build the wall today, 2.5 billion worth. The Dems are livid their Federal judges in San Fran were over ruled.
It could be the beginning of the end of Democrat recruitment at the border. It is about time.

Love the title this week: “A Purview of Dust”

There seems to be a little victory party going on this week post-Mueller testimony. Say what you will about the 74 year old Mueller (a life-long Republican), but I give him some credit for his Marine training at Quantico followed by going to the Army’s Ranger School and Airborne School. Those Army assignments are unusual for Marines and, typically, are set aside for just a handful of the best each year.

A reality check on the victory party: The House Ways & Means Committee will get Trump’s tax returns. The Dems may also get Trump’s accountants’ (Mazars) work papers and files. And if the Dems fail to get the federal returns NY State passed legislation that would allow the chairs of the tax-writing committees of Congress to request Trump’s state tax returns. His bloated claims about his supposed worth will be revealed to be lies.

Trump is violating the emoluments clause of the Constitution. House Dems have sued Trump to stop him from receiving payments from foreign governments while serving as president. We’ll see how that goes.

Germany’s Deutsche Bank has loaned Trump’s businesses $2.5 billion over 17 years. Trump sued to prevent access to bank records and Dems won the first round in court when a federal judge dismissed Trump’s suit. The AG of NY is also after bank records. Follow the money.

Then there’s the hush-money payments to women Trump slept with. Those payments were made at the direction of Trump, making him an unindicted co-conspirator, since Cohen is doing time for the crime. Trump also misstated the value of his assets to insurance companies and lying to an insurance broker is a crime: insurance fraud. President Trump cannot be indicted while sitting in front of a TV during his “executive time.” Citizen Trump will be legally liable after leaving office.

The Trump Foundation is still facing a lawsuit by the New York AG’s office that could force a payment of millions in restitution and penalties, and bar Trump and his three oldest adult children from serving on New York charitable boards. Trump dissolved the Foundation but that does not protect him from his illegal use of the Foundation while it existed.

Today Dems filed a new legal request to gain access to Mueller’s underlying evidence, and invoked the possibility of launching impeachment proceedings. They don’t seem to be slowing down at all. Victory dances may be premature.

So, build that wall Mr. President! Take the defense funds from elsewhere, undermine our military readiness, steal from our men and women in uniform, all to waste billions on a wasteful, ineffective wall. We will see how that goes for you in 2020, Mr. President.

    • BackRowHeckler July 27, 2019 at 1:10 am #

      So, Little Jane

What you are saying is that after nearly 3 years of flogging ‘Russia Collusion’ to death, which led nowhere, you are moving on to what you think are greener pastures, i.e., the ‘tax return’ and ’emoluments clause’ hoaxes. Is that about the size of it?

I’ll bet the partisan shill deetrump isn’t bothered by the Clinton Foundation collecting billions from persons, corporations, and foreign nations who had business before the State Dept.requiring a decision by Hillary.

I’ll bet deetrump isn’t bothered by Bill’s rapist activities and his Lolita island vacations with little girls. But in righteous indignation he condemns Trump fornicating with consenting, adult women. Perhaps the distinction is too subtle for deetrump to grasp.

You want financial investigations, deetrump? Careful what you wish for. As with the Russian connection, it will come back to bite your heros in the ass! There’s enough dirty money circulating among the Democratic hierarchy to put the whole gang in prison (if laws were applied equally to everyone).

The real kicker is deetrump’s melodramatic lament:

“So, build that wall Mr. President! Take the defense funds from elsewhere, undermine our military readiness, steal from our men and women in uniform”

It’s touching that deetrump cares so much about our soldiers who must now eat gruel and wear rags because of Trump’s extravagant wall.

But let’s compare $5 billion (spent over multiple years) for a wall to the enormity of the defense budget.

“On March 11, 2019, President Donald J. Trump sent Congress a proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Budget request of $750 billion for national security, $718.3 billion of which is for the Department of Defense”

A wall to defend our border is wasteful. but trillions wasted on Iraq and Afghanistan is OK?

You’re blowing smoke out of your ass, deetrump.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Black rag dolls that came with instructions to “find a wall” and slam the toy against it have been pulled from three stores after customers and a lawmaker said they were offensive.

The “Feel Better Doll” featured instructions to “whack” the doll “whenever things don’t go well and you want to hit the wall and yell.”

The president of One Dollar Zone said roughly 1,000 dolls were pulled this week from its store in Bayonne and two others also in New Jersey.

The dolls were made of black fabric with yarn hair of red, green, black and yellow in the style of dreadlocks, and featured large white eyes and a white smile.

State Assemblywoman Angela McKnight, a Democrat whose district includes Bayonne, called the dolls “offensive” and “inappropriate” after seeing a post on social media.

Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis said in a Facebook post that the dolls were “insensitive” and “can certainly be considered racist.”

One Dollar Zone President Ricky Shah apologized for the dolls’ appearance in the stores and said they were pulled Monday after someone posted images online. The Paterson-based company didn’t adequately check a large lot of items it had received before distributing them to stores, he said.

“This somehow slipped through the cracks,” he said.

The dolls were included in a shipment of about 35,000 pieces of closeout merchandise, Shah said, mostly with an “I Love NY” theme, including mugs and picture frames.

The supplier that shipped the order offered to credit One Dollar Zone for the cost of the dolls, Shah said.

The dolls’ manufacturer, the Harvey Hutter Co., couldn’t be reached at several phone numbers and email addresses at its location just north of New York City. Shah forwarded an email from supplier Global Souvenir Marketing stating that the company is no longer in business. Global Souvenir Marketing did not respond to an email seeking comment Friday.

One Dollar Zone operates more than two dozen stores in the northeastern U.S. from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania.

What to make of this? What lessons can be learned?

Was it an elaborate stunt? We are approaching what used to be called “the silly season” of journalism, when the headlines are dominated by the absurd. But it seems looking at the headlines that the “silly season” extends throughout the year?

If these dolls had been White, would it have created such a fuss? I think not. When cops are assaulted on the streets of Gotham daily by black hecklers, full onset Clownworld has arrived.

Ricky Shah? Ricky Ticky Tavi. Rudyard Kipling, where are you when we need you?

    New York Rumors

As it is already well known, the First World War began because a group of American geographers, with great respect for theosophy in general and Madame Blavatsky in particular, decided to rid the planet of four Empires: Austro-Hungarian, German, Ottoman, Russian and British. And as a result of these geographical discoveries, only the British Empire survived in the 20th century.

It is not surprising that a hundred years after the start of these discoveries, the British monarchy, standing before the threat of non-existence, according to New York rumors, sanctioned the arrest of one of the members of the royal family, who played in quite indecent games with globalist financiers who are not only associated with Epstein, but with these geographers and philosophers in the most direct way, and after the failure of the sabotage on Losharik, Epstein’s arrest and Muller’s interrogation in the House of Representatives, they simply went batshit crazy

And was it all worth it in the end? For nearly three years a mass psychosis has essentially paralyzed the country politically and instead of moving on after the exposing of the sham the inquisitors are doubling down yet again. Meanwhile the country faces a whole series of crises and yet many of those who are supposed to represent us appear to prefer fake investigations, political theater and virtue signaling. They’re weakness and actual mediocrity have been revealed. Not a good thing for those so eager for battle but such is the curse of pride and the price of arrogance.

One can’t help but wonder what is real and what is not being that the Establishment so shamelessly and brazenly promotes false narratives and realities with media and big tech paving the way and making it all possible. Thus most mainstream narratives should be dismissed outright as products of Corporate Overlords. White Privilege, Diversity, Black Lives Matter, Pride, Open Borders, and on and on and on. Those ideas and people whom the Elite most fear will be those we commoners are taught to despise. So ask yourself. Which ideas and who are the Establishment telling us to despise? Should be easy to figure out given the loud daily drumbeat. And now you know who and what strikes fear into their hearts and keeps them up at night. And therein lies much power.

Well, we got trouble here, in River City.

Last nite the cops shot an esteemed community member who’d engaged them in a high speed chace in a stolen car. There have been dozens of ‘Community Members’ shot in the past month or so, but this is the one to which attention will be paid. Last week the governor and a handfull of mayors issued a statement against ‘Gun Violence’.

In 1928, when the Bootleg wars raged on the streets of Brooklyn and Manhattan, and Dutch Shultz’ ‘Chopper Squads’, were throwing lead with their ‘Chicago Typewriters’, at Arnold Rothsteins Murder Inc., did mayor Jimmy Walker issue a lame statement against “gun violence’? Hell no! He got on the phone to his Chief Bulls asap, “I want these mugs in bracelets by tonite. Give ’em the Big Sleep if you gotta.”

So the mayors and the governor issued that statement with much fanfare, standing at the podium with black police officers as a show of solidarity and to signal there is not a hint of racism in the edict. Which the ‘Community’ took to heart, as the next few days there were no shootings, but 2 stabbings.

‘Gun Violence’, where did that phrase come from? How weasley is it?

We will see what happens. There could be trouble on the streets of Hartford. Community Members in the streets raising hell and blocking traffic, if for nothing else, lack of anything better to do.

Some snippets from yesterday’s Paul Craig Robert’s posting:

“….Among the most crazed elements of the Democrats, Mueller is no longer the hero. Mueller sold out to Trump in order to protect himself, as Trump was going to have Mueller assassinated if Mueller did not clear him. This conspiracy theory comes from those who ridicule skeptics of the official 9/11 story and various of the school shootings. The dastardly Mueller, more concerned with protecting himself than with cleansing the government of the Trump evil, suppressed the evidence of Trump’s guilt in order to save his own ass….”

“….It is enough to drive a person to despair that among the abundant evidence of American election interference, no attention is given by Democrats to interference by the Israel Lobby, the pharmaceutical lobby, the oil lobby, the Wall Street Lobby, the military/security complex lobby. Sheldon Adelson, a single individual with a fortune from casino gambling of $33 billion, 300 million dollars, has more clout on the outcome of US presidential elections than Putin. These few lobbies mentioned above have resources between them in excess of the GDP of Russia. It is totally impossible for Russia to outbid them…”

“…One has to wonder how it serves the image and power of the United States to be portrayed, as it is portrayed, as fighting Israel’s wars for domination of the Middle East. How does the world avoid seeing the US of A as a two-bit vassal of Zionist Israel? Doesn’t Trump’s national security adviser, John Bolton, and Trump’s Jewish son-in-law make this perfectly clear every day? The President of the United States is nothing but the punk two-bit vassal of Zionism…”

Tell me, are the Orthodox Jews who are opposed to Zionism also anti-Semites?

And just exactly what IS a semite?

          • FincaInTheMountains July 27, 2019 at 12:22 pm #

Well, they oppose to Zionism as a concept of returning Jews to their Historical Fatherland in Palestine without the leadership and blessing of the Moshiach (Messia) since it contradicts the will of God.

I, as a Orthodox Christian Jew believe that such Moshiach had already arrived 2000 years ago and there is no more obstacles for Jews to build their own state in Palestine.

          • Janos Skorenzy July 27, 2019 at 2:35 pm #

Orthodox Judaism and Orthodox Christianity are the same: Both Orthodox. That’s what he’s getting at. And of the two, the Judaism is more important. The younger brother must serve the elder.

          • goldpen July 28, 2019 at 9:22 am #

Okay Fincaln and Janos I get that. But neither explained what a Semite actually is. Obviously it is a descendant of Shem, the ‘H’ being silent in Hebrew.

It is a rather recent thing to regard Jews as “semites”. Of course it came about so the term “anti-semite” could shut anyone down who oppose the very much political movement of zionism. It’s like the SJWs will scream “racist” if you point out that there’s a massive problem of un-wed mothers in the inner city. It’s just an epithet designed to shut down debate.

If the Palestinians and most Arabs are themselves descendants of Ishmael then they too are technically “semites”. And many Jews are not literal descendants of Jacob. Don’t know who many, but if semitic is regarding racial or tribal lineage then the whole semite and anti-semite thing should be put to bed. If Jews suspect someone hates Jews because they are Jews then they should just call them anti-Jew, or Jew haters. Most tribes of Israel were not of the tribe of Judah either.

I do wonder how Finc would explain away or justify the “Star of David” on the Israeli flag. I guarantee David never used it. But Aleistar Crowley surely did. Let him who hath ears, let him understand.

And I think the Apostle John would take issue with the label “Orthodox Christian Jew”. I think he’d say, in his own way from his own time….”whatchutalkinbout Finc?”

Mofo was an adept of the conspiracy theory ala “Protocols of the Elders of Zion”, just replacing the Elders of Zion with the Vatican and the Pope.

It seems to me, they are virtually the same religion. How big a deal do you want to make of the “et filii” clause regarding the origins of the Holy Spirit?

It’s ludicrous how some people split hairs over theological points which are:

            1) beyond human understanding and
            2) irrelevant to anyone’s daily life

I never believed it was really doctrine which divided Rome from Constantinople, but hard power politics.

It was pretty sad to see Robert Mueller testifying the other day. Age has brought him down to the point where he was reduced in the words of Matt Taibbi to “a man wandering in traffic.” I hate to see any man who has been reduced by old age, thrust into the spotlight, and shown to be a shell of his former self. It was apparent from the start, when watching him walk to his chair, it was the stiff, brittle walk of an old man, and it did not forbode well. I’m surprised that he was allowed to testify. I still respect him for his deeds in the past. They tried to put him in the harness one last time, and like an old plow horse, he did his best. Thanks for your service, Robert Mueller.

Hamilton et all knew that domination by the majority was as bad as domination by the few. The Constitution was written to prevent domination by the few, the royals in England, but then the Bill of Rights was added to prevent the minorities losing rights to the majority. Two other items were the results of compromises between the small and large states to prevent domination by pockets of uniparty allegiance, like The West Coast right now. The US could be dominated by four states. The small states got two things to slow down these real negatives of pure democracy. The Electoral College and the US Senate both give small states leverage against the high population centers. Thanks to these two items we are not dominated by the insanity of California, Oregon, Washington and New York. The Dems want both of these items repealed because they block their pathway to Federal domination. They also want selective elements of amendments one through ten changed to stop sources of individual power, the 2nd amendment being number one. The Left is insidious, they just keep coming to turn this country into a Communist State. Communism and the Constitution cannot co-exist, so America, if you vote in these Democrats in 2020, you will never get your republic back.

That is what scares me the most, the changing demographic. Our country has been under seige by these Liberals for so long that out individual self respect is almost gone in the majority. The illegal problem and the liberal programmed education system has been very successful at turning the American into sheeple. Ready for socialistic slaughter.

One more. The Deep State is being run by fewer and fewer people. One of the results of socialism is domination by the few. I can count on two hands the number of people that control Washington, DC. This is so contrary to the intent of the Founding Fathers, who wanted a citizen government.

Remember, to the neo-Libs the Founding Fathers are an anathema, to be voided out wherever possible. Just now, if the Liberals have their way with the Electoral College, we might as well change the nation’s name to the United State of California, the second Communist nation in the Western Hemisphere.

    • goldpen July 27, 2019 at 12:06 pm #

Yeah I don’t think the Founders wanted 99% of our political leaders to have law degrees and members of the Bar.

The Bar that is used to beat us upside the head daily.

      • JohnAZ July 27, 2019 at 12:23 pm #

How do you know a lawyer is lying?

        His mouth is moving.

Tell a lie enough times and it becomes the gospel.

Both of these tenets are the basis of the modern day Deep State.

Along with, Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

        Trite but absolutely true.

Another important thing to remember. These Liberals believe in their cause just as much as conservatives do. The real evil folks are the leaders that have no beliefs, just a unquenchable desire for power. Those are the ones to fear.

    • SoftStarLight July 27, 2019 at 2:11 pm #

John, Socialism has not caused the wealth inequality and concentration of power in this country. Those things have been caused by hyper Capitalism supported and bailed out with publicly funded corporate welfare. Uncontrolled Capitalism creates powerful monopolies and billionaire oligarchs who can buy their way into power in Congress. Thus the bought and paid for politicians who faithfully follow scripts. This is one of the downsides of the elevation of profits above everything else.

And in regards to the fear you have of the demographic change. Well, culture doesn’t exist in a vaccum. Culture is dependent upon the people that create it and live in it. People are different. When many different people are forced to live in close proximity do you really expect harmony and peace or a common culture?

Running a rooster with a severed head and prospect for Russian-American relationships

I finished the previous post on this topic I finished the previous post on this topic “Running a rooster with a severed head and the Big Bargain” with the statement that the interrogation of Muller in the House of Representatives, which the Democrats had been seeking for so long, ended in disaster for them.

This disaster occurred when Muller was unable to answer a question about a company called Fusion GPS, which was hired by Hillary Clinton’s election campaign for the so-called opposition research, that is, the detection of compromising materials on Donald Trump.

Moreover, unlike other smaller disasters that the Republican congressmen prepared in advance, this great disaster happened by chance, no one planned for it, not even the congressman whose question led to this disaster salvatory for Trump and for us all. Here it is this moment (knowledge of English is not necessary – you could understand everything without words)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbsPxb_ic9w

The fact is that in fulfillment of the opposition research commitments, the aforementioned Fusion GPS company discovered former MI6 employee Christopher Steele, who, with the help of his agents in Moscow, had put together the Trump dossier, and Hillary Clinton’s supporters who accidentally turned out to be FBI employees carried it into a special court (FISA), which grants permission to wiretap American citizens.

Moreover, they forgot to inform this court that this file was compiled with the money of Hillary Clinton, and thanks to this deception they received this permission to wiretap the election campaign of Donald Trump, which is now being investigated by federal prosecutor John Durham.

Then, in November 2016, Trump unexpectedly won the election, and the results of this wiretap were used to initiate a criminal case against General Flynn – Trump’s first national security adviser, who allegedly concealed his negotiations with Russian Ambassador Kislyak.

And this, through a very complicated intrigue, which once again proved the complete uselessness of any gentlemen’s agreements with Hillary Clinton, was the reason for creating the Mueller Commission, the official task of which was to investigate Russia’s interference in the US electoral process.

And during this interrogation, it became clear that two years after the start of this investigation, Mueller did not know about the existence of the Fusion GPS, whose activities became almost the only reason for the emergence of his commission.

And even though this moment arose by chance, it, as a floodlight, covered many other episodes when Muller could not answer specific questions about the investigation he headed, whose staff announced three times their readiness to arrest the US President, twice put the USA on the brink of a hot Civil War and once put the world on the brink of large-scale nuclear war.

All these episodes together created an unequivocal impression that Mueller was the figurehead of this commission, and over the past two days, more or less sane media have been discussing this impression as an indisputable fact, and irresponsible media carry such a mind-boggling nonsense about this that it is impossible to even comment on it.

One of these episodes plays a key role in Russian-American relations and is likely to determine their development in the next two years, regardless of the attitude of certain statesmen to Russia, including US President Donald Trump.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkGy8dCZzrM&feature=player_embedded

The fact is that Muller, having received a question to which he did not know how to answer, answered that this question was not in the range of questions that his commission should have investigated. This response was his completely defended position, but it also exploded when Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz asked Mueller if he was sure that the aforementioned Christopher Steele dossier was not misinformation specifically introduced by Russian intelligence to undermine the confidence of the Americans in the US elections won by Donald Trump.

And when Mueller retreated to a previously prepared position, stating that this question is not part of the questions that the DOJ had put to his investigation, Matt Gaetz quite reasonably answered that it was this question that was the main question that the DOJ had put to his commission since such disinformation, if it was, is undoubtedly Russia’s intervention in the US electoral system.

Matt Gaetz, asking this rhetorical question, instantly became the star of the first magnitude of American politicum, when he used Muller’s confusion to show once again that Mueller did not write or read his report, which he presented to Prosecutor General Barr and which Hillary Clinton supporters announced to be a Barr’s report and an attempt to hide President Trump’s crimes.

In fact, with this question, Matt Gaetz finally proved that Mueller did not write or read his report, and that it was written by those members of his commission who in July 2016 prepared Steele’s dossier and, accordingly, the investigation of the Mueller commission as their insurance against hanging in case of Donald Trump’s victory, and the words “we all hang, if Trump wins,” belong to Hillary and the flying monkeys repeated them constantly, preparing the aforementioned insurance papers.

However, during the interrogation of Mueller in the House of Representatives, Trump’s words became known when he was informed about the appointment of Mueller

“Oh my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my presidency. I’m fucked.”

These words were recorded by Hillary Clinton’s eavesdroppers and as a result of a number of leaks they ended up in a Mueller report, which he did not write, but which was edited by his friend Barr to free Muller from responsibility for the coup attempt, which I wrote about as soon as this report appeared in the Internet.

So the threat was quite real and two days ago Matt Gaetz blew it up, deploying Russian intervention in the American elections 180 degrees and turning it into a weapon against Hillary and her flying monkeys.

And since it was precisely this technique that led to success, it will be used further with relevant consequences for Russian-American relations, despite the fact that Matt Gaetz question was rhetorical and he asked it in order to show the absurdity of Trump’s collusion with Russian intelligence.

If the Russians, Europe and the US ever get their s**t together and realize they are cut from the same fabric, it will be the death of the globalist neo-con movement. Georgie Porgie and the boys will have to find another planet to infect with their poison.

  56. JohnAZ July 27, 2019 at 12:09 pm #

I hope that after the DOJ exposes the corruption in the Federal government that they work on the graft in the election process in the country. The Russians may have, again may have invaded our state registration rolls to get data, but that is nothing compared to the potential number of illegal votes that are counted.

I am surprised that the conservatives ever win anything with the potential loading of the ballot box that is occurring. I think it is a measure of how really conservative we are that Trump was ever elected.

    • SoftStarLight July 27, 2019 at 1:50 pm #

It doesn’t seem like the DOJ is doing very much given the circumstances? Some independent groups have said that as many as five million illegals have voted in recent elections. There will never be a way to know for sure though as long as organized efforts to look into the matter are shutdown. And that is what happens every time. They won’t even allow the citizenship question on the census. So its in plain sight really. Just like all their other scams.

    Good News!!!

Arrests made in murder of man found behind HS several weeks ago, body full of lead.

    But there’s a twist.

Suspects are female, ‘refugees’ from Puerto Rico after the hurricane 2017.

Phew, that was a time! Do gooders mobilized and flew into action, church groups, ethnic special pleaders, lefty pols; you never saw anything like it. They couldn’t do enough. The motto was “Our close neighbor, Puerto Rico”.

The Governor, Senators, dignitaries, they all travelled to the airport to personally greet the new arrivals. Thousands came in.

The Dems and their captive news media are already cherry picking “sound bites” from the hearings and trying to go for impeachment. I read they have 100 lined up, which isn’t enough, but even if they succeeded the Senate wouldn’t go for it unless they manage to drag things out until 2021.

They would have done better to drop the whole matter. Mueller may or may not have written the report, but he signed off on it and was responsible for it. I don’t think his forgetfulness was necessarily deliberate, though. He is 74 years old, and looked very unwell when he appeared. I think they need to give the guy a break there. He should never have been forced to come back and testify.

    • BackRowHeckler July 27, 2019 at 2:32 pm #

There won’t be one Republican vote for impeachment in the US Senate, and several Dems — Joe Manchin, Jon Tester — will vote against impeachment too.

I hope the House goes ahead and votes for impeachment. It’ll be one big Dem circle jerk, lead by Gerald Nadler and the woman who wears a do rag wrapped around her head, good for some laughs snd entertainment on our part. I can’t wait.

This whole Mueller Thang is really weird. A lot of people seem to buy the story that the reason why Mueller doesn’t know what’s in “The Report” is that Mueller is “just old” and that “he’s lost his faculties.”

    Not possible….

It’s not possible that Mueller has never heard of the company Fusion GPS, and the Steele Dossier used to initiate an investigation based upon fraudulent representations to a court. Why is it that I’m just some Asshole who is only marginally interested in the subject, and I seem to know more than the Cocksucker Mueller who ran the investigation?

    Not possible…. No Fucking Way….

Mueller was switched on enough to dress himself nicely and to show up for a Congressional hearing. Something is not right. They’re all pretending on both sides. It’s all theater. It’s psychotic… Mueller is lying through his ass….

Living the Elitist International Nomad Style —

“Yet the AirSpace aesthetic that Airbnb has contributed to, and the geography it creates, limits experiences of difference in the service of comforting a particular demographic (“the vanilla tourist”) falsely defined as the norm. It is a “hallucination of the normal,” as Koolhaas writes. This is the harmful illusion that so much technology, and technological culture, perpetuates: if you do not fit within its predefined structures as an effective user, you must be doing something wrong. Says Schwarzmann, “It’s a bubble, a lot of things that are reinforcing our bubble. I’m definitely part of the described problem. White, male, privileged and I travel a lot.”

Among the phenomenon’s consequences is depersonalization, in the psychiatric sense: “a state in which one loses all sense of identity.” I personally like the AirSpace style. I can’t say no to a tasteful, clean, modern life space. But thinking through its roots and negative implications makes me reconsider my attachment. It’s hard to identify with something so empty at its core.

In the advent of AirSpace, our options are limited. The first is finding “the advantages of blankness,” as Koolhaas writes, becoming connoisseurs of “the color variations in the fluorescent lighting of an office building just before sunset, the subtleties of the slightly different whites of an illuminated sign at night.” Kanyi Maqubela, the Roam investor, sees meaning in the generic from an unexpected source. “If you go to Catholic church in most parts of the world, the mass is going to feel like the mass. There is still a sense of unity,” he says. “We’re starting to enter the world where these private companies have some of that magic to them, the notion of feeling at home across time zones in any country.”

Elitism rears its ugly head over all international space now.

      Money talks.

      Bullshit walks.

Don’t you think for a moment that I don’t know that according to official version, “Deep Throat” was FBI Assistant Director Mark Felt.

Mark, however, for 30 years, refused this honor, despite the fact that it was the “Deep Throat” that turned out to be a hero of American Democracy, who showed that in America even the president could be put on his knees in front of a young woman named Hillary Clinton, and not vice versa as in the movie “Deep Throat”, where a young woman looking just like her named Linda Lovelace stood on her knees in front of various men.

True, in 2005, he nevertheless admitted to this “heroism”, which coincided with the start of the election campaign for the presidency of the US of Senator from New York State Hillary Clinton, but then in 1973 he, apparently out of modesty, categorically refused any allusion to Linda Lovelace.

Of course, it is surprising that such a significant official, and not a 27-year-old graduate of Yale University, who began her career with questioning the sitting US president and refusing to allow his lawyers to him during these interrogations, became the victim of such extreme modesty.

Moreover, her former boss Jerry Zeifman, today regrets that he, having dismissed her, did not report to the powerful Bar Association about Hillary Clinton’s insufficiently ethical behavior on the Rodino Committee, and hinted that if the lawyers were admitted to Nixon, the latter most likely would not resign.

Of course, if you have a desire to dig a little deeper, you will find out that Vanguard Films was the main distributor of “Deep Throat” pornographic movie, as well as that the Vanguard Group was the main coordinator of moving American Industry to China.

When was the last time that you pushed your way through a throng? Once in China I pushed my way through a throng in a rural market by following behind a large black hairy 200 lb hog that didn’t take any shit off anybody. Another good strategy is to get behind a forceful, determined Chinese little old lady pushing her way through the throng.

The last time the US got this close to adopting Communism was during the Great Depression. It took a distraction called WW2 with its patriotism and a guy named Joe McCarthy to rid the country of these power parasites. And they were everywhere then too, the most famous in Hollywood. I cannot ever figure why wealthy folks in Hollywood would ever be Communists, what would appeal to be them. Maybe it is their make believe world.

Third, many of them are operating with the family money, those who couldn’t make it in a normal wholesome milieu, rich misfits in other words who got packed off to Hollywood to see if they could stir something up. All of these groups share a hatred for White middle-class America with strong family structures & wish to see it all torn down.

“I do understand the Liberal vitriol against the wall.” –JohnAZ

There will be no wall. There are 1,900 miles. The Dems already appropriated money in 2006 for the fence that exists. Now Trump is having the military paint Obama’s fence (I bet they love Trump!)

There will be no thirty foot high thick concrete wall… and Mexico will not pay a peso. It would take years in court to get imminent domain approved and if successful a lot of Republican land owners on the border would be pissed at the heavy hand of the feds taking their property. Nothing good will come of it. I will be surprised if 1900 feet of new “wall” is built, let alone 1900 miles. Remember every day before the midterms we were bombarded by the dire threat of caravans of poor women and children? Then suddenly silence.

What a monument waste, what a distraction from real problems.

The US and world economy is in a mess due to decades of financial abuse, made worse since 2008 by increasingly manipulated markets. So much bad debt combined with zero and even negative interest rates is not a natural occurrence. There has been much monetization of deficits, bailout loans, and fiat money creation beyond anything reported.

Deetrump wants to blame the whole thing on the current President. Apparently, the biggest crime syndicate in existence, the International Banking Cartel (with its B.I.S. in Switzerland), doesn’t even exist in his little world of Trump-hate Deetrump is either very ignorant or very biased.

But at least now we know what happened to the disingenuous team of shills formerly known as “Janet”. They are back.

      • hmuller July 28, 2019 at 8:32 am #

Oh who can forget the dearly departed Janet? Here’s how i remember her demise.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke about “all three chambers of government—the presidency, the Senate and the House”

Instead of admitting that the immensely brainy AOC made a mistake and moving on, Janet kept arguing that AOC was correct and the US Constitutional was wrong. Of course, in the process Janet completely discredited herself and “shit the bed” worse than an imaginary Russian hooker on a date with Trump.

Her supervisor decided to retire the “Janet avatar” and return the team of shills under a new identity. Is that about right, Deetrump?

America will turn into a third world country if the Browns are allowed to demographically take over. Which is exactly what the neo-Libs want! You are the enemy of the two hundred plus history of the United States. I have always believed that the US stands for equal opportunity but I am starting to realize that because of ethnic population increases, the population of the US must be protected by a border to stop it from being a victim of the illegal onslaught. The Browns will destroy what makes America greats as they fight amongst themselves for the spoils.

A Purview of Dust. Remember when Trump said:

“The economy now has hit 3 percent. Nobody thought we’d be anywhere close. I think we can go to 4, 5, and maybe even 6 percent.” – Donald Trump, Dec. 16, 2017

Dust. The Commerce Department just recently announced that GDP growth slowed to 2.1% in the second quarter.

Trump’s tax cuts did not generate a massive boom of business investment, which was the justification given. Business investment is actually going into reverse.

The economy, to the extent that it’s growing, is doing so thanks to deficit spending, lots of stimulus spending with no offsets, increasing the national debt, imitating Obama economic policies. Republicans used to claim to have economic principles which they now hypocritically and conveniently reject.

As a gesture of appreciation for Mr Kunstler and as well for the many intelligent contributors to the Comments section I offer the following excerpt (out of a FB Group I belong to), which may prove of interest to some readers, inasmuch as it does tie in with the current Punch’n’Judy melodrama.

      ======================
‘If we take neoliberalism seriously not simply as economics but as world theory, then no doubt Jean-Francois Lyotard’s assertion that the epoch of grand or master narratives has passed is wrong. In the very narrow sense that Lyotard’s assertion was made in the midst of neo-liberalism’s ascendency to triumph & hegemony, the fact that he did not perceive it as a master narrative of his own time — the master narrative that his theory against master narratives was unable to defy — raises all kinds of questions. These questions cannot be specifically addressed here, but we are pressed to wonder in what sense neoliberalism is indeed a formation that may be said to perpetuate or to restage — & the question of difference, alteration, or newness would be critical here — master narratives. With regard to economic practice, neoliberalism surely has a long & composite history that includes the “embedded liberalism” it allegedly overcame (both Keynesianism & the neoclassicism liberalism of the Chicago school that opposed it), as well as the most obvious ecomics landmarks since the 1970: Reaganomics, Thatcherism, Milton Friedman’s apotheosis of Hong Kong economics, Japanese privatisation, the incredibly named “Pinochet miracle,” the cornucopia of World Bank & International Monetary Fund shenanigans (first in the underdeveloped world & former Soviet societies, then in Asia & South America, & now in souther Europe), all the way, of course, to the salient disaster of what we have come to call by different names: financial capitalism, economic deregulation, or globalisation.

This is the trajectory of “the Global Minotaur,” as the economist Yanis Varoufakis has aptly named it. In a ground-breaking analysis that serves as a beacon in navigating today’s political-economic mire, Varoufakis traces the trajectory of the current financial crisis from the decision by the United States in 1971 to effectively dismantle the Bretton Woods agreement (1944) that until then had governed an international recirculation of surplus wealth, thereby keeping in check capitalism’s endemic tendency to unbounded expansion at all costs. Richard Nixon’s decision to disengage the U.S. economy from the gold standard unleashed the subsequent determination of all currency by fiat, thus enabling unprecedented & reckless manipulation by all the national players in the international currency market. Emerging as the world’s dominant economy after WW2, the US economy established a new modus operandi of deficit wealth, that is, a national economy model no longer based on producing & circulating one’s own surplus wealth but, as Varoufakis argues, circulating the surplus wealth of others. In this sense, the US economy became a double beneficiary: It configured itself as an unprecedented consumer’s market that absorbed the world’s manufacturing at extraordinary scale & speed &, at the same time, as an all-around investment bank space that multiplied the profit capital of the world’s producers with significant profit margins for itself. Hence the creation of a double society of equally insatiable mass consumers & elite financiers, whose complicity gave new meaning to “the pursuit of happiness” while bolstering the politics of liberal oligarchy that came to be known as neoliberalism.

But whatever may be the bona fide changes in economic practices in capitalism’s past fifty years, the overarching social imaginary is still very much at work. Hence the scandalous silence about the negligent disregard of neoliberalism’s immanent affinities with the classical origins of liberalism exemplified in the writings of Adam Smith, who, let us not forget, put forth not a theory of economics but a moral philosophy, that is, a world theory. After all, neoliberalism still feeds on the classical liberal notion of self-regulation — always an outrageous misnomer — under the name “deregulation,” which is conducted on the basis of producing, that is, forcibly extracting from the market, greater self-regulation — language here plunging head-on into nonsense. self-regulation is conventionally signified by Smith’s classic metaphor “the invisible hand on the market” — which is perhaps invisible but is nonetheless a hand. The “free’ market depends on its regulation so the norm of its “freedom” can be guaranteed. Deregulation was invented in the name & service of self-regulation, & deficit wealth was its deliberate outcome. Alan Greenspan, its celebrated maestro, justified this explicitly, even when, in utter cynicism, he accepted it as an ideological flaw in the aftermath of the banking collapse in 2008.

“Deregulation” is an outrageously deceptive name. It defines a decision made & backed by political institutions, a brutal market intervention. Even in strict economic terms, deregulation concerns specific (partial & stealth) regulation — that is, invisible rules (in the name of no rules) whose purpose is not only to maximise control of the game by those who gain from it but also to exterminate those who oppose them. In other words, it is elementary monopoly capitalism, but at an unprecedented magnitude & scale — naked capitalism, as the name of a popular blog has it. There is similar newspeak concerning another pillar of neoliberalism: privatisation. What is privatisation but the production of new sorts of publics in the name of allegedly enhancing private/individualist opportunity? “Public” is an inadequate word because of the outrageous scale of population numbers. We are talking about mass enclaves produced by consumer compulsion or mass migration — publics of an altogether other order than the power of constituencies in classic eighteenth-century liberal politics, but nonetheless publics in the name of the same social imaginary of geographic expansion, social mobility, & technical master.

So, whatever the economics of so-called neoliberalism, its politics matter most. And this politics exemplifies the endemic incompatability between democracy & capitalism. What characterises the current situation is what can be named, in full cognisance of the deceptive naming, “the deregulation of the political.” Strictly speaking, deregulation of the political favours those who claim to be beyond the politics &, to their benefit, apply extraordinary political control otherwise invisible to the overt political process. This beyond is occupied by what is an equally occult term: “market forces.” In saying this, I obviously do not wish to revert to some sort of economic determinism. On the contrary, I think that against the inordinate punditry of experts about the market’s difficulties in a debt-driven economy, it is the palpable power of market forces that we are dealing with, a power that is, by definition (as power), political. Perhaps one of the essential slogans by which this power expressed itself in overt political fashion was the famous beacon of the second Bill Clinton presidential campaign: “It’s the economy, stupid!” — a slogan that literally reconfigures the “stupid” political subject as an object of an economic command. Moreover as the drive to disassemble the social democratic state in Europe & the US seems paramount, & thereby the very capacity of society to respond to this power is under question, we can speak, not inaccurately, of a prolonged deregulation of the political, whose tangible outcome is that the electorate now figures as an inchoate body of renegade & uncontrolled self-interest. There are different dimensions of this phenomenon, depending on the sociocultural & historical occasion, from identity politics to ideological clientelism, which I will not discuss here, except to say that they are actually symptoms of this deregulation. Alas, these symptoms of disparate micro-interest that splinters the social body are often taken as safeguards of the political.

The presumption that the inextricable nexus of the economic with the political is disengageable & that the two ought to remain independent of each other has long served the employment experts & media town criers worldwide. Yet no matter how this situation may be expertly spun, not since the Weimar period (speaking in a European time frame) have we seen such a crisis of the political — a crisis of the overt signification of the political, which in democratic societies minimally consists of the active engagement of the public with the law for the purposes of law’s (re)examination & alteration if needed. I emphasise “overt” because otherwise, as a result of the “deregulation” I mentioned, the sphere of the political has never been more cryptically permeated & actualised by other domains — chiefly the economic, but also multiple domains of mass-media technologies. So as not to be misunderstood, in speaking of a crisis, I do not mean retreat of the political or inhabiting the ‘post-political’ or any such nonsense. What I mean concretely is this: No banker, no finance minister, no international CEO, no speculator, no hedge-fund manager, no public relations firm, no mass-media director, no market pundit, no major economist in the university or the public sphere, in thinking, writing, or deciding about the debt crisis today, is engaged in anything but wielding political power.

Stathis Gourgouris ‘Lessons in Secular Criticism’ (2013) (referring to Yanis Varoufakis’ ‘The Global Minotaur: America, the True Origins of the Financial Crisis & the Future of the World Economy’ 2011)

The writing is really dense but that’s par for the course as the writer is a professor of English at Columbia. What I think he’s saying is that the political process is dominated and manipulated by a relative few who use this political power to maintain dominance in the economic realm.

IOW it’s all about money. It’s like this other guy said, the economy will become like the weather to the average citizen, something to be experienced but something you can’t do anything about. Why? Because any public policy that might have some bearing on economic matters is no longer in the ambit of an elected legislature, their freedom to act circumscribed both by international deals on trade and investment but also by an ideology of non-interference ostensibly promoted as being generally beneficial but in reality beneficial to a very few.

Or maybe I’m reading this wrong.

          • tucsonspur July 28, 2019 at 5:14 pm #

First of all, let’s eschew obfuscation. (ha, ha)

No, I think that’s pretty much right on target. More precisely, it’s all about the money And the power. They say knowledge is power but of course so is money. As if you didn’t know.

And yes, also circumscribed by entities like the European Union and its apparatus, Greece being a perfect example of a nation held hostage by the Troika with its ability to withhold credit, demand austerity measures, etc.

I think that it was also the case that Germany had to approve any new actions by the ECB undertaken to help those crisis countries, and approval would only come if certain measures were imposed.

Our legislature can at least cut taxes on the wealthy, raise the debt ceiling, the deficit and the debt, all necessary in large part because of international political and economic entanglements.

          tucsonspur,

Spot on regarding Germany’s role in the EU.

The EU IMO is nothing more than a cat’s-paw for the German elite (note I leave the little people, middle class etc. out of this; they are just trying to make it day to day and hoping their country at some points has end to its nightmare-kel).

Varoufakis just made an interesting prediction that Germany would be the first country to abandon the Euro. I think he is correct. Germany’s foreign policy for the last 25 years has been one sudden lurch after the next, producing plenty of unforeseen consequences for other European countries. Going back, without warning, to the Deutschmark would fit this pattern of behavior, and the German elite will not wait for the Euro to lose its value before they make their move.

Of course, such a move would signal the end of the EU. But Germany could always look to Russia for succor … never a good thing for Europe when her parents are the Fatherland and the Motherland.

          Cheers

Yesterday, Putin submerged on the bathyscaphe C-Explorer 3.11 to the place of the death of Soviet submariners, whose boat exploded on a mine, and then met with the families of the officers who died in the AS-31 Losharik.

    https://tvzvezda.ru/news/vstrane_i_mire/content/20197271431-so31M.html

If we assume that the official recognition of this fact could provoke serious complications for the whole country (and maybe for humanity, if a planetary catastrophe meant a nuclear war after the death of the head of state as a result of sabotage), then Putin could not more clearly say that it was he on “Losharik” on July 1, when this deep-water apparatus was blown up by a mine, and he was saved by the second-rank captain Solovyov, whose wife he met yesterday to express his condolences and gratitude.

The sub base isn’t far away, in New London, and you’d think one family out of a thousand would comment publicly on losing a loved one who was a crewmember on one of these 5 lost boats. So far there hasn’t been anything.

Meanwhile, on the homefront, last nite, gunpowder was being burned and hot lead was flying. 2 dead.

But the elephent in the room is the guy in Hartford who got shot by cops. Turns out he attacked a police officer and went for the officers gun during a traffic stop, similar to the ‘Gentle Giant’ in Ferguson, Mo. a few years back. No matter. There are rumblings. Officials — the mayor, police chief, the gov — are nervous. You see them tap dancing, genuflecting, doing backflips, guaranteeing ‘transparency’, a full investigation no stone left unturned, an official inquiry, anything, anything, to stave off a full fledged race riot. Problem is, forecast for the week is temps in the 90s and high humidity, perfect weather for a civil disturbance.

Drugs are a significant part of our economy, the dark side. The network is a spiderweb from the border, and not only there, into every corner of the country. And especially every city.

The next domestic war will be between the Blacks and the Mexicans contesting the drug trade. In the cities.

Trump administration pulls $929 million in funding for California high-speed rail

The Federal Railroad Administration announced that it terminated a 2010 agreement with the California High-Speed Rail Authority and will pull a nearly $929 million federal grant.

In a release, the FRA said the California agency “repeatedly failed to comply with the terms of the FY10 agreement and has failed to make reasonable progress on the project.”

At the same time, the federal agency said, “California has abandoned its original vision of a high-speed passenger rail service connecting San Francisco and Los Angeles, which was essential to its applications for FRA grant funding.”

Islam in the Middle Ages proved its ability to stop the militancy and the thirst for killing in the peoples who adopted it, and the Koran its ability to be the basis of a civilization that cannot but arouse admiration.

Suffice it to say that Western Europeans learned about the theology of St. Maximus the Confessor not from Eastern Christians, but from Muslims and Jews in Spain, where the latter fled, fleeing persecution in Western Europe.

Thomas Aquinas, restoring not only the connection with antiquity, but also Christianity in the West after the anti-Christian pogrom in Europe in the second half of the 12th and first half of the 13th centuries, was based on the works of Arab commentators of antiquity and the Great Cappadocians (Basil the Great, Gregory of Nyssa and Gregory the Theologian – I advise you to see where the fathers of the Church are located)

It can be said that the Europeans received Western Christian theology from Muslims and this predetermined the closeness to Islam not only of Catholicism, but also and especially Western European Protestantism.

Later, this allowed Protestants who reached the Persian Gulf to come up with a Muslim version of Protestantism, which was easily accepted by Arab tribes plunged into barbarism but not forgotten their past greatness who lived on the Arabian Peninsula.

Thus, the followers of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab at-Tamimi, also known as the Salafis (or Wahhabis), who at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries decided that they were the true Muslims, in fact, were followers of the Swiss, who in the middle of the 16th century imagined that they were the true Christians.

And from an informal point of view, the difference between the Salafis and the Muslims is that they deny all the achievements of the Muslims from the 9th century to our time, for which other peoples and civilizations actually respect Islam.

Moreover, the Salafis themselves, denying these achievements, gladly refer to them, hiding behind these achievements as a shield from the wrath of other nations, outraged by their atrocities, and with no less pleasure direct this anger to traditional Islam.

And from a formal point of view, Islam is unthinkable without Sharia, and Sharia is a system of jurisprudence based on the Koran.

And in all such systems of jurisprudence, the so-called madhhabs, in traditional Islam, 6 are known, and Salafis reject them all.

Thus, the Salafis, also known as Wahhabis and Islamists, from the point of view of traditional Islam are outlaws who interpret the Koran as it fits them to justify their crimes and some fatwas of Salafi “theologians” in the eyes of traditional Muslims are complete blasphemy.

      • Janos Skorenzy July 28, 2019 at 7:13 pm #

Yeah, it’s not like Christianity is anything in and of itself or as if they got their own Revelation or anything. Jesus was just a Rabbi after all. Christians got everything from the Jews and the Muslims, right?

      • SoftStarLight July 28, 2019 at 8:29 pm #

Even when you say Islam had an admirable civilization (built mostly on the accumulated knowledge of the ancients like the Greeks, Romans, Persians, etc) they were still at war with non-Muslims basically at all of their borders. War is a central tenet of Islam (no matter the sect) and there just isn’t any getting around it, even if you want to. And there were many, many slaves laboring intensively to make sure that Islamic Golden Age hummed along too. This was and is Islam and has nothing to do with Christianity. And its a total falsehood to say Europeans learned Christian theology from Muslims being that Christianity was in Europe before Islam ever existed.

Here is what Hilaire Belloc wrote in the 1930s:

“Mohammedanism was a heresy: that is the essential point to grasp before going any further. It began as a heresy, not as a new religion. It was not a pagan contrast with the Church; it was not an alien enemy. It was a perversion of Christian doctrine”

“How did Islam arise? It was not, as our popular historical textbooks would have it, a “new religion”. It was a direct derivative from the Catholic Church. It was essentially, in its origin, a heresy: like Arianism or Albigensianism.”

“Islam advances in herd of mob fashion. It does not proceed, as the Catholic religion does, by individual conversions, but by colonisation and group movement.”

It has come to my attention over the past several years that there is a chumminess between Eastern Orthodoxy and Islam. Quite interesting.

Legal immigrants, you want the goodies, you work for them and assimilate into our culture legally. Any immigrant flying a Mexican flag “higher”than an American goes back. Language unifies, people who do not speak English after a certain period of time go home. Civics 101 on the American government and the benefits of capitalistic thinking is a requirement. Request for citizenship in five years max. Repudiation of former allegiances is part of the swearing in.

And throw in the memorization of the pledge of allegiance and the national anthem along with understanding their meaning for good measure.

We have been giving away citizenship cheap just like welfare.

It seems like banning immigration would have many benefits. One would be decreasing sprawl and the rate at which we are using resources. It seems like there is a constant push for endless growth and endless immigration.

          • JohnAZ July 28, 2019 at 10:59 pm #

Remember that the entry points for the immigrants are in major cities. Major cities are becoming s**tholes because of too many people and not enough jobs. Increasing their population is going to make the situation worse and worse. So why are the city managements encouraging more and more immigrants? That shows evidence that these Liberals running the cities do not give a flip about their folks.

Its pretty hot today, we shall see what tonite brings.

    Probably more gunfire.

Odd thing, every gun control scheme known to man has been put in effect in this state. No matter. They have all the guns they need down in the hood. And if guns can’t be had there is always the backup shiv and matches for arson fires. We learn only recently that 95% of funding for the schools, police, welfare, sanctuary city policies and so on in Hartford and New Haven comes from the state treasurey. Ha ha, dumb f#ks that we are, we’re paying for this sh#t. Jokes on us.

As far as arson fires go, don’t think for one minute ambient temps don’t matter. On hot July nights buildings and cars burn better than they do in January. True, in France and Sweden, in January and around the holidays, esteemed Muzzy guests take to the streets and torch cars by the thousands, but can you really compare that to the inferno in Ferguson, Mo when rioters set alight an entire Ford Dealership? Its a global phenonema, apparently.

At any rate all that is about 12 miles east of here, a different world, a different universe. Sometimes I learn, for whatever reason, there are still white kids trapped down in those neighborhoods. I feel afraid for them. I’ve mentioned the handicapped 12 year old boy living with his grandparents on Blue Hills Avenue, a family from days past when it was a white working class area, unable or unwilling to leave their home; the kid was learning disabled and one day after school he got off the bus at the wrong bus stop and was beaten to death by a group of young community members; before he died he was calling out for his grandmother.

No big deal. The story died quick. No use stirring everybody up.

The Commentary on this Post is curiously quiet.

Aside from a few sporadic remarks from capt spaulding & deeTrump, it’s been a pretty much one-sided conversation between the variously mutant strains of ‘white’, ‘conservative’, ‘god-fearing’ and rabid nut-job conspiracy theorists, with many posters ticking several, some even all, the above boxes.

The underlying problem (well, for me at least, and I guess like-minded posters) was the utter pointlessness of arguing against JHK’s particularly personal take on the Mueller investigation & the aftermath.
It gelled with the views of many here who likewise can’t see the imminent danger of Trumpism and his destructive, lying ways.

I saw today he’s STILL tweeting (in all caps, of course) “No collusion, no obstruction, total exoneration. Democrat witch hunt!” What’s the matter with him? Not only are these statements demonstrably not true, but why does he keep ‘shouting’ such lies to his base, which is already 100% invested in his bullshit? It’s just embarrassing all round.

It never ceases to amaze me at how easily triggered you little Trumpers are. Of course Trump himself is the most easily triggered. My god that guy whines and cries if anyone even looks at him cross ways. So ya’ll are taking after your idol.

Another thing that is an undeniable fact, those who revere political heroes in general are all the same. Whether on the right or the left. All I heard in 2008 and then the early years of Obama’s term was how “intelligent” he was. His loyal sycophants, a lot of whom were in the MSM, just kept going on and on about how intellectual and smart he was. It was nauseating. Of course he was one of the biggest dolts who ever lived in the WH. Maybe he had the intellect to be a professor, but otherwise he was and is a dolt.

And now you Trumpers spew the same BS about how smart he is. How he plays 3D or 4D chess. He went to Wharton. On and on and on and on. No different than the Obama ball waxers. Just a different dude.

Why don’t you find rogue agencies and secret plots to be an imminent danger? It seems like secrecy is a bad thing for the Democracy you want. And don’t you favor freedom of speech?

    • JohnAZ July 28, 2019 at 10:50 pm #

You are a mime for every lie the main stream media has invented about Trump. Where do you get off judging anyone for what is truth or lies. Have you sat and watched verification for all the lies that have been stated about Trump and his family? Three years of four investigations of corruption of the administration have turned up nothing but a frustrated innocent individual.

And what Trumpism, what has changed in your life due to Trump? What has he done except try to stabilize a border that is under assault and turn on an economy that was put to sleep by a Deep State over thirty years.

The real lies arise from Left of center and amplified by the MSM.

If someone in DC would enforce the libel laws, Trump could be suing everybody. The bullshit that is on the news everyday is atrocious.

‘Trump aapologist’ is becoming a whole new Felicia of employment!
‘Frustrated innocent individual’… you and butt-buddy hmuller accuse others of TDS but in reality, it’s your perception of reality that’s been deranged by this fool of a man, who accidentally and against his better wishes, became ‘Prez’. He reminds me of Comacho:

Dan Coats on the way out. Coats was the last one. Criminal Trump has now replaced all the Deep State guys.

Criminal Trump is in charge of the Deep State now. In the 2016 election Criminal Trump said the election was “rigged” (because he lost the popular vote).

If Criminal Trump loses the election in 2020, who is he going to blame? His own Deep State guys? Dead people? “Illegals”? Illuminati? Soros? Hillary? AOC? Pelosi? Mueller?

Because it can’t be that people just got tired of his narcissistic reality show crime spree and decided to oust him. We need to start looking now for someone to blame… someone other than Criminal Trump and the Deep State he now owns.

I’m actually glad to see Coats go. Never liked that mofo. But I dislike most everyone.

Only one thing will cause Trump to lose in 2020: A tanking economy. My bet is that it will be tanking. Big time.

Then the “Crips” will take over. Oh joy! Our “saviors”.

Metaphorically the Repubs are the “Bloods”. The Dems are the “Crips”.

That is President Trump, not criminal Trump, jerk. One thing I love about you Liberals is your total lack of respect with anything. Name calling is your forte. You belong on a 6 year old playground. Sick’s and stones. I have seen such a decline in civility in this he country and you and yours are the cause.

Say it. President Trump. Mr. President. Because you are going to be saying for another five years.

      • JohnAZ July 28, 2019 at 10:19 pm #

Dan Coats the last of the Russiagate contingent. Trump will set his own foreign policy course now. The Intelligence corruption is over.

Bravo JohnAZ. The hate-filled, foul mouthed POS known as “deetrump” is too stupid to know his style alienates the people in the middle which his team needs to win over.

This is why they will lose again in 2020. They can’t resist insulting and alienating honest Americans. They can’t resist expressing the ugly contempt which defines them and their morally bankrupt wretched, little lives.

        • Majella July 29, 2019 at 3:40 am #

Yeah, that’s a real intelligent rejoinder, huh, hmuller bot. Your vast intellect astounds me continuously.

I’m so hurt. But you are correct about one thing; there’s no point in arguing. You have your viewpoints and I have the truth. And never the twain shall meet. Looser!

            “(sic) Looser!”

            That’s “Loser”, loser.

Ah, YOU have the “TRUTH”…! Well, I was wondering where it’d got to.

This peacock-esque self-praising self-importance just shows how delusional you’ve become from spending years mired in all the conspiracy theories, demonic possession, shape-shifting alien puppet-masters, “all liberals hate ‘Mer’ca” rabbit holes you’ve been scurrying about in.

            WAKE UP!

Un-indicted Citizen 1 is the best I can do. I can’t be bothered checking, but I’m sure I would be able to count on one hand how many times you two butt-buddies put ‘President’ and ‘Obama’ in the same paragraph, let alone sentence, if ever.

‘Decline in civility’….hahahaaahhhhaaa! I think hillybilly Nurembergs, Crooked Hillary, ‘Low Energy Zeb’, mocking Carli Fiorino as ugly, talking about grabbing pussy and getting away with shooting someone on Fifth Avenue and getting away with it, calling all Mexicans rapists & drug dealers…I could go on, but it’s pointless because your sense of reality has been deranged by Trumpism.

  86. JohnAZ July 28, 2019 at 11:01 pm #

Another shooting in Gilroy, CA. Seems to me that the shootings happen in liberal, gun control zones. Hmmm!

“One thing I love about you Liberals is your total lack of respect with anything.” –JohnAZ

I am a conservative, JohnAZ. I respect the principles of governance the West has followed for 800 years, the principles embodied in the Magna Carta of 1215. I want to conserve those Western principles.

Criminal Trump is the worst president in US history. He has taxed all of us against our will to fund his wall-building, since our elected parliamentary body did not designate funds for that purpose.

The Supreme Court has (temporarily) sided with Criminal Trump, overturning a key principle of the Magna Carta. Let’s be conservatives and conserve what the West created as the wellspring of democracy for the last 800 years.

    • Majella July 29, 2019 at 5:41 am #

      DeeTrump – pointless arguing.

    • JohnAZ July 29, 2019 at 8:18 am #

Does not need Congressional authority to spend military $ for the wall. Keeping folks away from the border and enforcing the border are military options to defend this country.

He has taxed us not one penny for this, just changed direction.

Majella is right. Arguing is pointless.

President Trump the legally elected president of the United States. No matter what you Dems do, you are not going to unelect him.

      • Majella July 29, 2019 at 5:21 pm #

Yes, Un-indicted Citizen 1 is the legally elected president of the USA. but 2020 will see him un-elected and, most likely, indicted for his myriad crimes and grifts.

    The Age of Pornocracy

After it turned out that the Mueller’s Investigation from the very start was ran by the agent “Deep Throat”, at the same time the first female Candidate for US Presidency from the Democratic Party, the political regime in the United States rightfully acquired the name Pornocracy

And this is not the first time in the history of the West when it happened

Following the death of Charlemagne Civilization Christianity started to fall apart, and when in 905 A.D. the last of the Italian Carolingian dynasty died, followed in 911 by the German one, the Holy Roman Empire was conquered by the “Abomination of Desolation”.

This can be best illustrated by the fact that the Papacy was governed by a group of prostitutes for 60 years, so that practically the entire 10th century in Rome came to be known as the “Age of Pornocracy”.

During this period, most of the popes died shortly after being elected, but in-spite of their short terms they still managed to leave behind them long trails of different crimes, including murder.

This tradition was broken only in 963 at the interference of the founder of the Holy Roman Empire Otto I the Great, who forced the election to the Papal throne of a priest famous for his asceticism.

Fight between an army of angels under the command of St. Michael with the seven-headed dragon and U.S. Ambassador to the Soviet Union, William Bullitt

Civilization Christianity was celebrating the arrival of the second millennium under the direction of Pope Sylvester II, also known as Gerbert d’Aurillac, who was the first architect of the first French state.

?? was a Pope of great knowledge, which he had acquired in Barcelona, at the Caliphate of Cordoba and library of Bobbio. He introduced the astrolabe to Western Europe, as well as Hindu–Arabic numerical system and the abacus based on it, the armillary sphere and the sighting tube.

In combination with his furious prosecution of simony and concubinage among clergy, this knowledge fostered his reputation of a magician and an astrologer, who communicated with the Devil.

According to Michael Bulgakov’s book “The Master and Margarita”, Professor Voland came to Moscow in 1935 to study recently discovered manuscripts of Gerbert d’Aurillac and to consult the Soviet government about their political implications.

So it was this discovery that made the U.S. Ambassador to the Soviet Union, William Bullitt, to host a ball on April 24, 1935 in Spaso House, the Embassy of the U.S. in the Soviet Union, which was devoted to the spring full moon when Christ’s fate was sealed by Pontius Pilate.

It is important to note that the stylistic coincidences between Moscow of 1935 and the time of Gerbert d’Aurillac noticed by the famous Russian writer Mikhail Bulgakov indeed reveal the essence of the historical dramas that were taking place in Western Europe in the 11th century and those that were unfolding in the USSR one year before Leon Trotsky left Europe and Adolph Hitler trashed the Treaty of Versailles.

The 1935 ball, held in Moscow which at that moment was the anti-Christian capital of the world, was attended by the heads of all the diplomatic missions to the Soviet Union, as well as leading representatives of the artistic and scientific intelligentsia, leaders of the Comintern and Communist Party, the commanding generals of the Red Army and Stalin’s Brothers of the Sword.

Thus it can be seen how Mikhail Bulgakov’s “Gospel from the slanderer”(Master and Margarita), which described this ball in Moscow in 1935, quite easily could have been written in the 11th century, fitting perfectly as it does to the setting of the Alcuin’s library on Mont Saint Michele, if one ignores such words as “primus”.

The most interesting thing is that the first ambassador of the United States to the USSR, William Christian Bullitt, a descendant of George Washington, had an absolutely uncanny ability to see the future, and the application of this ability to international politics made a big impression not only on President Franklin Delano Roosevelt personally, but also on the United States government, particularly the State Department.

His personality indeed stylistically blends into with the time of Gunnor de Crepon and the Normandic interpretation of the Revelation of John the Theologian, in Rev. 12:7-9, which describes a fight between an army of angels under the command of St. Michael with the seven-headed dragon who was chasing a woman dressed in the sun and hiding a child:

“Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they were defeated and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world – he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.”, and he and his angels acquired a human image so that they couldn’t be found among men. And in the place where the dragon was thrown from heaven to earth appeared an island that was called Mont. St. Michel, and there Archangel Michael came to St. Auber and told him to build a holy place in honor of this victory.

It should not be overlooked that William Bullitt, before the ball, and in spite of his ability to foresee the future, was absolutely infatuated with Lenin, whom he met while on assignment from Colonel Hughes, an adviser of Woodrow Wilson. He wrote in his reports to Col. Hughes that Lenin was an “outstanding leader, straightforward, kind man with a good sense of humor.”

He also reported to the U.S. government that the communist revolution in Russia was a continuation of the great American experiment in freedom, but most of all he was absolutely stunned by and full of admiration for Leon Trotsky, reporting that Trotksy and his followers are way ahead of us (United States) on the way to liberalism.

After the 1935 ball, Bullitt, the great visionary, suddenly saw another nature of the Communist regime, and detailed analysis of his visions as they were reported to President Roosevelt shows that it was precisely at the time of the ball that the U.S. Ambassador to the USSR, the admirer of Lenin and Trotsky, suddenly envisioned another future of Russia, and seemingly spontaneously became a rabid anti-Communist.

He went as far as advising the United States to join the war against the Soviet Union together with fascist Germany. In addition, there is a very sound basis for believing that Mikhail Bulgakov wasn’t joking when he hinted that the papers of Gerbert d’Aurillac discovered in Moscow in 1935 are the same ones that convinced the Archbishop of Reims to crown Hugh Capet, thus bringing to ruin Charlemagne’s Empire, but also are the ones that prevented William Bullit from convincing somebody very powerful among those present at the 1935 ball in Spaso House that his vision of the future was the only one.

As a result, the novel of another famous Russian writer, Ilya Ehrenburg -Trust D.E. (Trust Destruction of Europe) – became just a satire which, while it may have been extremely precise in its detail, failed to foresee the most important factor – the role of France and Normandy in the history of Europe and the role of Egorov and Kantaria in an attempt to restore and expand to the whole world the Holy Roman Empire of Charlemagne.
