Do you marvel, as I do, at this malignant hive organism — arguably worse than the Covid-19 chimera virus — that calls itself “Joe Biden”? The personage of that name is a mere effigy, of course, like one of those grotesque mummies hoisted above the mob in a religious procession from some primitive cannibal kingdom. It’s the mob itself that actually matters, though, the twerking parade of Woke-Progressive Democrats, because it is bent absolutely on rooting out, punishing, and torturing its perceived enemies, which in this case are about half the people in the country. That’s really all it seeks to do. It has never been about anything else, because, get this: the Woke mob is insane.

But now this other half of the country has raised a war cry, “Let’s go Brandon,” in objection. In case anyone does not know what the phrase means, peruse the actual lyrics from one of four rap chants topping the Apple music charts right now: this ditty by entertainer Loza Alexander:

Let’s go, Brandon (fuck Joe Biden)
(Let’s go, Brandon, fuck Joe Biden) you know what they sayin’, hoe
Let’s go, Brandon (fuck Joe Biden)
(Let’s go, Brandon, fuck Joe Biden) you know what they sayin’, hoe

Is that too subtle for anyone? Do you catch the drift? (Know what they sayin’?) The sentiment is timelier and apparently more popular than “I Want to Hold Your Hand” was in 1963. America has had enough of the Woke religious cult and its cavalcade of depravities. America is about to bum-rush the darn thing, seize the ghastly mummy from its skull-bedecked palanquin, and knock the living sawdust out of it.

Doings in the Loudoun County, VA, school board lately became the rectified essence of the wild, irresponsible, Woke derangement overtaking the land. The board authorized a sex education booklet that instructed teenage boys how to perform oral sex on each other — with explicit illustrations of one boy on his knees servicing another boy standing — while the board backed the sowing of maximum gender confusion among high schoolers who, under the best conditions, have a tough time adjusting to the hormonal storms of adolescence… all in the name of promoting a Woke brownie-point-collecting exercise called “Pride Week.”

And guess what? The parents of Loudoun County began to object to this… meshugas. And then the school board proceeded to squash and evade their objections, and even enlisted that degenerate troll Attorney General Merrick Garland to intimidate objecting parents with the FBI and federal writs against “domestic terrorism.” For his trouble, Mr. Garland was unmasked as a prevaricating tool in a US Senate hearing this week, nicely captured by the TV cameras so the citizenry could see him in weaselly operation.

It also came out that twice this fall a teenage boy wearing a skirt — ostensibly gender-confused in exactly the way promoted by the school board — committed two rapes of teenage girls in the girls’ bathrooms of two Loudoun County schools, to which he was granted access as someone pretending to bethink himself a girl — though it turned out he knew quite well how to deploy his male generative organ. The crimes were reported to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and shared with the County School Superintendent, who covered it up… not a smooth move, as things turned out, because now the country can see exactly how criminally dishonest the Wokesters are.

And as all this rolled out, Woke-Progressive Democratic candidate for Governor of Virginia, Terry McAuliffe, made the supernaturally doltish utterance that “parents shouldn’t tell schools what to teach.” His campaign even put out roadside signs under his name repeating the statement-of-principle, in case anyone missed it. The result: McAuliffe dropped about eight points almost overnight in the polls. The voters are about to pop him out of the political universe like a watermelon seed between their fingers.

Meanwhile, the mummy known as “Joe Biden” has ventured abroad, first to Rome to be feted, his handlers thought, by the Pope. But his excellency Pope Francis ordered the TV cameras turned off, apparently unwilling to be seen consorting with the inanimate, disintegrating graven image of a US president — anymore than he would want to be caught conversing with a statue of the Medici Pope Leo X in his Vatican garden.

Also meanwhile, the stage managers back at the White House, Chief of Staff Ron Klain and Susan Rice, shadowy Director of the Domestic Policy Council, floated an initiative to give half-a-million dollars to each family member of children and parents who had gotten separated while attempting to enter the US illegally. That ought to warm the hearts of US citizens thrown out of their jobs and their livelihoods for demurring to take a vaccine that doesn’t work and which causes havoc in the organs, blood vessels, and immune systems of many who have taken it — against a disease the engineering of which was paid for by their own tax dollars.

Now, cue the Mother of all Migrant Caravans marching north to the wide-open US / Mexican border — because “Joe Biden” wants it that way — just what millions of broke, thrown-out-of-work, soon to freeze and starve US citizens will be treated to watch on their flat-screens before the cable service is switched off for non-payment. “Joe Biden” just wants to rub their faces in it, or rather the folks behind him pulling his strings want to do that. Maybe the time has come to cut “Joe Biden’s” strings. And just maybe it’s time to put an end to the Woke march through our history.

“T Mac” running for governor of VA. Does anyone, truely, believe he actually wants to be governor, again?? Or is this, allegedly, his ‘pre-ticket’ to the White House if he wins? He wasn’t that good the first time, but he, certainly, can tell a “Tall Tale”…

    • Beryl of Oyl October 29, 2021 at 10:02 am #

That’s what we see nowadays. Someone who wants to hold the position, but not perform the actual job that comes with the position.

No doubt he looks forward to his own Martha’s Vineyard manse . . .

You mean like Pete Buttgieg, who took 2 months maternity leave in one of the most critical times in the DOTs history?

Now he’s off to Glasgow, with a portfolio to take down the oil companies, and help dismantle the national grid. The dude is worthless, but media isn’t asking any hard questions like ” why the f#kk aren’t you doing your job?” I wonder why that is.

        • abbybwood October 31, 2021 at 9:31 pm #

Now Pete is saying the supply chain crisis will not end until everyone is jabbed and the pandemic is over!

Will someone PLEASE step up and tell the truth (like a bunch of top doctors and scientists at the National Press Club in D.C.)??

The American public’s heads must be spinning with so much bullshit being pumped out at them!

Politicians are parasites who suck off of the system.
        THAT is their job!
The problem lies with the suckers who vote those parasites in.

        • C.O.Jones October 31, 2021 at 9:15 am #

I realize I am dating myself by quoting one of (okay, in my opinion THE) greatest voice(s) in rock and roll history – John Kay: “YOUR VOTE IS A MEANINGLESS JOKE”

The song Monster was written 50 odd years ago but has never been more relevant. Use your search engine to find Monster by Steppenwolf. Listen carefully and keep in mind it was written by a man who, as a boy, escaped communism quite literally thru a hole in the fence. We are there.

If there is anything to be learned by the last pantomime, excuse me, “election” it’s that we cannot vote our way out of this. We go thru the motions but our voices are not heard.

What was that JHK said 2 posts ago? Something about decorating lamp posts. Yeah, overdue. Way overdue.

          • Alfred October 31, 2021 at 12:35 pm #

And though the past has it’s share of injustice
Kind was the spirit in many a way
But it’s protectors and friends have been sleeping
Now it’s a monster and will not obey

            ——- John K

Yeah, that about sums it up. Acknowledging your sins, moving beyond them by learning. That is the spirt of my American experience. Asleep while corruption took root. And now, the corruption is so pervasive we cannot vote it away. There’s nobody to vote for!

This was a pearl of history and rock -n- roll. Thank you.

I’m just finishing a book, “The Rape of the Mind, The Psychology of Thought Control, Menticide, and Brainwashing,” by Joost Meerloo. It is 65 years old, and also extremely relevant today. Those that bring this insanity to our lives have learned much in those 65 years. Next up; Kaczynski. I’ve read a few comments here and there that say’s he nailed it in is manifesto. I am of the strong opinion that if technology can be used to control people, it will be used to control people.

The issue with the lamp post party is related to nails that pop up. They generally get hammered. The flow of all electronic information, even these words I key now, are monitored by machines that parse every nuance, and assess risk. They know, we know, they don’t care about that. They care about adhesion and cohesion among the masses, and do their best to prevent that.

If McCaullife wins Tuesday no one will believe it.

Especially since education is polling #1 and today he told Chuckie Todd that no parents should have a say in what the curriculum is.

“That should be left to the EXPERTS!”

Right. Like Tony Fauci demanding five year olds be jabbed with a gene therapy that could kill or injure them with zero liability to the pharm Corp that made it or to those who “mandated” it or to doctors or nurses who participated in injecting it with the threat of not being able to attend public or private schools?

        “Experts” like these?!

  2. Beryl of Oyl October 29, 2021 at 10:00 am #

    Good morning.

“Woke is a four letter word. Just saying…”

Maybe people are sick of it.

    • ThorsHammer October 29, 2021 at 3:30 pm #

“Woke is a four letter word” So is Fuck, the act usually preceding conception.

Studies show that male fertility has fallen 300% from it’s level in the 70’s. With the Woke mission to castrate the remaining males and turn them into fake women that tendency has radically accelerated in the past few years. Add the female miscarriages induced as part of the Bill Gates population reduction Pogrom (AKA known as Pfizer/Moderna “vaccines”), and you can see where Woke is going from the standpoint of population demographics.

      Enough of this insanity!

In the triangle of states defined by Florida, Texas, and Montana there are at least the glimmerings of resistance. Most of its citizens (AKA Deplorables) just want what humans have always wanted— be part part of a community, form a family unit with a partner who will help them raise children, and teach their children to grow up to believe in similar values as their community. None of these basic needs are possible in Wokeland. So it is time to cut the cancer loose and form a new Nation of Heartland where men can behave as men, women as women, and sheep produce wool instead of being passive servants of the State. . .

  3. lizharmon October 29, 2021 at 10:02 am #

Thinking back to Super Tuesday, Obama and Rice chose the old white guy to be the face of the party because everyone knows that Grandpa Grifter worked the system and wouldn’t dare tear it down. Seems obvious now in hindsight. That said, Fuck Merrick Garland, too. Most of all, though, fuck BHO and the pronoun crowd.

    • Beryl of Oyl October 29, 2021 at 10:04 am #

Plus the old white guy gets the blame if people do wake up and decide enough is enough.

  4. Walter B October 29, 2021 at 10:07 am #

If anyone is going to be giving demonstrations on how to perform oral sex on schoolboys, I would think that Jerky Joe Biden should be the teacher on his knees. Oh wait, he might like that, but then so would the rest of the sellouts in DC these days.

All kidding aside, as our once mighty society crumbles into degeneracy as we sit here and accept it because “there’s nothing we can do”, I hope that we can all accept the consequences when the degradation turns violent at either the hand of the corrupt government or maybe even the new owners of this nation, our Chinese “friends” once they take over officially. I am not exactly sure why they would want to take over this clusterfuck of a country, (sorry Jim), but then the food and resources are certainly some hard assets that the CCP would value highly, even if we don’t.

In the end I am not so sure that I have a lot of problems accepting the CCP as our new government because THEY will solve these bullshit problem and they will do it quickly. Maybe, just maybe there will be some solace found in “I told you so”.

If anything close to a CW2 scenario materializes I fully expect Team Woke to invite the PLA/PLAN/PLAAF to, “help,” so fast our heads will be spinning at light speed.

And, just so our host knows we are reading, my favorite line of today’s contribution:

“The voters are about to pop him out of the political universe like a watermelon seed between their fingers.”

Ha ha ha! Let’s hope so.

          Duck & Cover is correct.

          Those are the Chinese:

People’s Liberation Army, Navy, and Air Force.

    • Beryl of Oyl October 29, 2021 at 10:18 am #

I’m wondering if it’s because we did do something, start to push back on the degeneracy in our schools, that they came up with the most outrageous gambit so far- claiming to be “in talks” to hand over serious loot to foreigners as a reward for the inconveniences they faced when they broke our laws, but only during the Trump administration.

I’m not saying they wouldn’t love to be able to actual do this, but I doubt they believe it’ll fly and meanwhile it takes the heat off of Garland and the FBI.

No sooner did the conservative internet start talking about fighting at the local level, our DOJ decided parents were terrorists.

They seem to understand they went too far. Notice Obama poked his head out to claim the outrage was fake? He had to defend his legacy of boys in girls’ bathrooms.

      • Walter B October 29, 2021 at 10:24 am #

They certainly don’t like pushback and I’ll bet they can’t really handle much of it. The question is whether or not they will actually take the first step in violence by deploying firearm confiscation, of re-education camps for those not so easily coerced into taking suicide by injection. I don’t believe that there are many of the oppressed that will resort to violence under the present forms of assault upon US(A), so it leaves me thinking that they first strike will have to be by the demented piece of human garbage, Jerky Joe. After all, he IS fucked up enough to do it, IMHO.

        • D from OR October 29, 2021 at 11:13 am #

“whether or not they will actually take the first step in violence by deploying firearm confiscation, of re-education camps…”

These are fantasies that the Woke political class hope scare you. Simplistic scenarios with no basis in reality. Who does the violence? Who is the army? How are they vetted? Who feeds them? Who directs them? Where are the camps? How many do they care for? Who does the reeducation? How are they paid? And on and on.

Don’t grant these psychotic politicians super human abilities to control chaos. They can unleash it but not control it. Look around.

Also do you really believe Joe animates original ideas and has power of decision?

          • Walter B October 29, 2021 at 8:22 pm #

They clearly appear to be pushing for the other sides to make the first bad move, no doubt. It seems to me that their biggest weapon is their attempts to drive us crazy with their fingernails down the chalkboard bitching and whining that, at least IMHO appears to be aimed at driving us all to the point where we throw up our hands and say, “STFU, we will do whatever you say, just SHUT UP!

I think a lot of people are there already and I assure you that they are going to have to drag me out and beat me to death with clubs but I will NOT kiss their hairy asses. Screw ’em, whine all you want. You want to start something, then do it!

          • thirdcoastlegend October 29, 2021 at 9:22 pm #

            Outstanding points, D from OR!

As a real world example, I would point to Xiden’s door-to-door jab squads.

Look at how quickly those vanished like a fart in the wind.

        • abbybwood October 29, 2021 at 2:42 pm #

I guess I am the only person who noticed that the Loudoun County school board disease has migrated to Los Angeles:

Just imagine that. You are a mom protesting Newsom’s mandated clot jab to 5-11 year olds or “no school for you!” The masks too.

Then you hear the idiot school board President! say, “Oh God! Here we go!” Then in another potential rap song lyric say, “Fuck you!” to the mom. (The ol’ hot mic problem).

Just waiting for Tucker to cover this one.

And to think that all the mom said was is, “the risks of the jabs are greater than the benefits”.

          True that!

Maybe we’re over-thinking this. These people are insane Jacobins. They have no reverse gears. They are so blinded by their psychopathic ideologies that they have no option but to push on regardless. That will be their downfall. At present, the crazier they get, the more opposition they will face. Bring it to the boil, Bolshies!

      • LagingRunatic October 29, 2021 at 11:28 am #

Meanwhile, Beryl, most of my friends voted for Biden (which is most of them, since I’m a former progressive who now feels that conservatism is the last bulwark left to protect liberal values like free speech, free religion, etc.) My friends are celebrating the demonization of these parents as domestic terrorists, because the parents are reaping the harvest the Republicans sowed with their War on Terror hyperbole and attack on civil rights.

My response to these friends is (1) be mindful, because you’re now celebrating that which you deplored, because of who it’s being used on (which means you’re a creature of tribe over principle which ain’t great) and (2) be wary, because those anti-terrorism tools and language will be even more effective when they’re deployed on you the next time around as you try to use your civil rights.

But it all comes back to peaking natural wealth (i.e., natural resources), the Long Emergency, catabolic collapse, and those pesky models from the early 1970s matching the data nearly perfectly a half-century later: https://paulkingsnorth.substack.com/p/intermission-the-machine-stops

If any citizen is on the moderate-Right to Hard-Right end of the political spectrum and is still shrugging his or her shoulders while meekly muttering “there’s nothing we can do” then you have some soul searching to do.

Where would America be if the founders had meekly turned over their muskets to the British Redcoats who came to confiscate them at Lexington and Concorde, saying “There’s nothing we can do.”

Where would the world be today if America has continued to sit on the sidelines in World War 2 and allowed the Nazis and the Japanese to conquer the globe because “there’s nothing we can do.”

Here’s the truth: Anyone who sits on their hands while criminals, both in an out of government, roam our country committing crimes against Americans and the rule of law with impugnity, is a part of the problem.

When a citizen who detests what is happening says “There’s nothing we can do.” He or she is copping out. They are being cowards. They are unworthy of Liberty.

What that person is really saying is “There is nothing that I’m WILLING to do, because it is RISKY, and I’m not willing to risk a damn thing to preserve Liberty in America.”

      Think about that.

Does anyone here truly believe that Liberty is free? Has it EVER been free? Or will it be extinguished in a heartbeat if Americans prove that they no longer have the grit and sand that their ancestors displayed for at least the first 200 years or so of this republic’s life?

Everyone knows the answer to this.

If you are not willing to fight to preserve your freedom, then you do not deserve to remain free.

So, to everyone who keeps saying “There’s nothing we can do.” You need to re-arrange your thinking because you are not just selling your own freedom down the road, you are condemning your kids, your relatives, your neighbors, your friends, your countrymen…….to slavery and tyranny.

Can you sleep soundly at night knowing you have done this? What kind of person are you if you can?

It is hight time for real patriots in this country to Cowboy Up. If you don’t own firearms, but some…..and learn how to use them to defend yourself, your family, your neighbors, your country.

Here’s the attitude that needs to replace the “There’s nothing we can do” bullshit mantra:

      * If I can shoot, I will join the battle line.

      * If I can’t shoot, I’ll load.

      * If I can’t load, I’ll bring ammo.

      * If I can’t bring ammo, I’ll help with the wounded.

      * If I can’t help with the wounded, I’ll give blood.

      * If I can’t give blood, then I’m probably dead…..so strip my body of what you need and KEEP FIGHTING.

Typo correction: If you don’t own guns BUY some.

        • neurodoc October 29, 2021 at 1:39 pm #

If one doesn’t own guns now, then it probably too late to do the training it takes to safely use them against the enemy. Then again, a 12 gauge pump with #4 buckshot is pretty easy to learn to use safely and accurately (and it is the ultimate for home protection). Remington 870 would be my #1 recommendation IF you can find one. Know your range limit, which is about 50 yards with reasonable accuracy. If you need more range, get a 308 rifle and get ready to do some heavy training and practice. Pistols should be a last resort due to need for very heavy practice for safe use and even more practice for accuracy; some say their purpose is to fight your way back to your rifle. 🙂

          • Bilejones October 29, 2021 at 2:01 pm #

‘ Pistols should be a last resort due to need for very heavy practice for safe use and even more practice for accuracy”.

Yup. you have to be good to get to Baldwin’s
            One shot, One Kill” level.

          • neurodoc October 29, 2021 at 2:07 pm #

Best recommendations for 308 rifles are: #1 FN-FAL by far,
and a distant #2, AR -10. Both semi-auto’s. For democrats, that means one trigger pull =one shot (not like full auto or machine guns with one trigger pull=many many shots) with a magazine that ‘auto’ loads (with a capacity of 20 usually).
Bolt action 308s are more accurate but are really for pro’s and highly experienced hunters, IMO.

The ubiquitous AR-15 shoots a smaller and less powerful 5.56mm (.22inch) round (basically a souped up 22) and their advantage is light weight and a much larger mag capacity (usually 30) . Their problem, found in the early days in the sandbox, is that you may have to shoot the enemy multiple times for a take down (unless you are proficient at head shots) and he can get very close to you or shoot you in that interval. This is due to low energy (muzzle energy is typically 1100 foot-lbs and at 100 yards its dropped to pistol level energy). Not so with the 308 with typical muzzle energy of 2800 foot-lbs; one shot, even at 100-200 yds in a vascularized area (torso, neck, head, fem artery) and enemy goes into both neurogenic and vascular shock and goes down hard.

Hope this is helpful for upcoming events. I suspect that most on this board already know much of this stuff, unless they are trapped in shit hole blue states. But you never know.

So I’m just offering my opinion as an avid shooter since I was seven years old (my grandfather taught me to shoot crows attacking his pecan trees, w/ a 22 single shot rifle) and i’m 68 now, so I have decent experience.

One final recommendation: focus on just a very few calibers (one shotgun, one rifle) and get as much ammo as you can afford. It will be worth it’s weight in gold very soon.

“Best recommendations for 308 rifles are: #1 FN-FAL by far,”

I…know a guy that has both…the FAL is, by far, the preferred.

Neurodoc’s elaboration reminds me of the stories I heard of grunts in Vietnam who threw away their M-16s when they had the opportunity to take AK-47s off dead VCs.

            “Where’s your weapon?”

“Lost it in the firefight, Sarge.”

The M-16. That is a metaphor for much that is wrong in society, and an excellent of example of why the government is untruthful.

I have great respect for Neurodoc in this space, but I respectully disagree with him on the M-16 in Vietnam.

When I was in college, James Fallows wrote a book called “National Defense”. What I am about to rehash is essentially what I got from his book.

During/after WWII, the Army identified a need for rifle for infantrymen that could be fired on full-automatic–like a portable M60.

The Army took a rifle (the M-1 I think), and modified it to fire on full automatic to create the M-14. The recoil (kick) was so intense is could give the shooter a nosebleed. It was hard to handle–for Americans, let alone smaller allied soldiers.

The founder (I think) of Armalite (I think name was Gene Stoner), on his own came up with an innovative, lightweight rifle, called the….AR-15 that seemed to fit the fill.

The AR-15 used innovative materials, including some plastic, to make it lighter, but the real brilliance was using smaller bullets (5.56, close to a 22) that used gunpowder that fired the bullets faster.

A smaller bullet is inherently more unstable, and wants to “tumble” vs go straight.

With a faster velocity, when this bullet hits a person (or animal) it will tumble more and create a much worse wound. It’s for shooting people, not tanks or armored cars.

The smaller bullet required a less massive (lighter) gun, which was less tiring to tote. A GI could carry more smaller bullets too. Some potentially valuable attributes when mixing it up with opposing soldiers 50 to 150 yards out.

However, the AR-15 was developed outside the Army’s acquisition bureaucracy. As such, it had a snowball’s chance of being adopted.

But wait–at some get together of some type, some gun enthusiasts showed this AIR FORCE General who was also a gun enthusiast, this gun. They set up some watermelons and let him shoot them.

The General was Curtis LeMay. Curtis LeMay orchestrated the mass bombings of WWII and created the Strategic Air Force Command. In the USAF, he was “the man”. Whatever he wanted, he got

He was so excited with his watermelon shooting he decided he wanted THIS weapon for his men! He ordered it issued to his AF troops in Vietnam (around 1961-62), and it was.

Well, word got out, this AR-15 was really slick. And since LeMay liked it and wanted more, the US Army, the service responsible for small arms, had to consider it and could not ignore it.

The US Army “studied it” and found deficiencies. It was not accurate at longer ranges and did not meet Army standards. The gunpowder was not standardized with the M1, M14, and regular Army issue.

To the Army “corrected” these issues. Primarily, they specified standard Army power, which changed the firing rate of the gun on full auto, which made the gun break down, which required other changes to make it operate, and made tweaks to make it more marksmanlike, which further adversely affected the gun, though this was conceived as a lightweight weapon for close combat, not a multi-purpose gun that your sniper could use from 2 miles out..

The Army’s mods made the weapon less reliable and prone to jamming. As you can imagine, it must be pretty terrifying when you’re in a fire fight, you pull the trigger, and not only does nothing happen, but you have to stop what you’re doing and unjam your gun…..

And that POS M-16 is what the United States government issued to Army troops (and probably Marines) it sent to Vietnam.

The oversensitive M-16 had to contend with the rain and grime of the jungle. It required constant cleaning–and it still jammed.

There was a Senate inquiry, as family members started writing their representatives and complaining that their boys’ guns were jamming.

The Communists won very few battles outright. But when they did, they always stripped the dead GIs of everything they could use–and they always left the M-16s.

Yet the US Army dragged it’s a$$. Over time, it modified the modifications, and 40 years later, the M-16 was much better.

The US Army never conceded there was a problem with the weapon, even with ample accounts of US troops found dead next to their jammed M16s, so bad that the public was aware.

            Any of this sound familiar?

So, the problem in Vietnam was, the the guns jammed, not their lack of lethality.

On the other hand, the Soviets, the Communists, who were focused on the task at hand, which is efficiently killing those they wished dead (in this case US/NATO soldiers), rather than fulfilling some inane US Army regulation, came up with the AK-47, which is renowned for it’s ruggedness and reliability in the worse environments, even if it is crude, and not marksman grade. The AK-47 is very effective. Combined with motivated, intelligent, trained men to use it, quite a lethal combination, in the Vietnam in 1965, or in Kandahar in 2005.

I know too many people who were sick in Dec 2019, went to the doctor and were tested negative for flu, to believe that covid is the flu.
It is not the flu, it is a bioweapon, engineered to attack humans through their ACE receptors, which means multiple organs attacked.
Luckily the human immune system is hard to overcome and over 99% of humans were able to fight it off.

      • JohnAZ October 29, 2021 at 12:13 pm #

        Covid is not flu.

Flu attacks respiratory receptors and is self limited.

Covid attacks ACE receptors which allows it to attack everywhere.

The novel effect of Covid last year made it virulent in comparison for a while, the media had a blast scaring everyone in their quest to dethrone Trump. In reality, its ability to get ahead of the immune systems of a very few folks made it a tremendous fear factor.

The reality is, older folks had good reason to fear Covid, but also the flu. Other than that, Covid has a few outliers that the media can use as fear factors but now has about the same impact as the flu.

Interesting point, the flu up to now seems to have taken a hiatus. Could it be that large scale social distancing changes, not shaking hands as much, knowing who you are touching, having an increase in social spacing, might be having a deleterious affect on the flu which is droplet mediated instead of airborne. Hope so!

It might mean that airborne transmission of Covid is what remains.

        • Alfred October 29, 2021 at 1:24 pm #

Yes, influenza is not a corona virus. They are zoologically distinct organisms.

On the other hand, COVID is the flu, the common cold, and COVID is an aerosolized, lab produced, bio-weapon.

COVID is when the PCR coin flip returns heads.

The COVID pogrom required more fear than actual deaths.

The confusion over COVID, sewn from the onset is one of the characteristics of totalitarian brainwashing. They have overwhelmed the population with misinformation and outright bullshit where COVID is concerned. The contradictions are too numerous to recount, and too annoying to suffer… again and again.

The COVID operation is the opening salvo of the Globalist’s war with China, as both parties aspire to rule the world. China was attacked with the weapon, and framed for it’s release.

I agree with you. SARS 2 was released in the US around July 2019 and was taken to China by US soldiers during the Wuhan Military Games in Nov 2019.
China identified it as a new virus in late Dec 2019, notified the WHO and responded extremely strongly, shutting down Chinese New Year travel, building new hospitals in a week, quarantining the sick, etc.
I have a friend who does business with high level Chinese officials and they thought it escaped from the Wuhan lab at first, just as Dr. Francis Boyle said at the time.
But I don’t think they think that anymore. I see that Ron Unz pegged it as an attack on China fairly quickly and I agree, you agree, and it seems that China now agrees with that assessment.

Remember the spate of young men dying in the summer of 2019 with an unusual lung problem that made their lungs have a ”ground glass appearance”?
That is the same way that covid presents, and that is how China diagnosed the victims, unlike the US, which uses the faulty PCR test.

            RE: Alfred and JohnAZ

*As used*, our word “flu” has never specifically meant some unwell feeling caused specifically by a virus of the influenza family. It meant that unwell feeling, period (or “full stop,” as some render it).

Colds, or flus, or “under the weather” feelings, they all come from any number of viruses, virus families, including Coronas at a certain baseline rate. This has been studied somewhat. That’s why some medical academic coined “FLI” or “flu-like illness.”

In other words, saying “Covid is not the flu” is not a useful point, rather like saying “the word ‘excellent’ is not English” because its base-form derives from Latin and not Old English.

          • Alfred October 30, 2021 at 7:12 am #

My point being, because the PCR test is essentially the official test for the ‘case-demic’ and it is neither reliable nor consistent and actually configured to produce false positives. Whatever is troubling the patient when they get the positive result is COVID.

COVID is the Flu, it’s the common cold, it’s even broken legs and motor cycle crashes.

MOST OF ALL – COVID is loneliness and isolation, which to an elderly loved one is an accelerated death sentence.

This is the bullshit vector of COVID.

COVID is also a bio-weapon. It can be deployed locally, where ever and when ever they want. Like a sheep dog herding the sheep into the pens to await their fate.

Consider the never ending argument of what COVID is or isn’t. How many times have you walked away from a discussion, or put down an article and questioned your sanity, or the sanity of the person you’re talking to? Recall the feeling you get… It’s like hitting the top of the roller coaster before the descent. That feeling is you teetering on the edge of saying, ‘fuck-it.’

That is the feeling the totalitarians are intentionally trying to evoke with the MASS CONFUSION I’m referring to.

The place to focus your intention is NOT what they’re saying about it, but rather what they are doing, and what they are doing is text book totalitarianism. We are all prisoners in the same NAZI POW camp, or work camp.

        • neurodoc October 29, 2021 at 2:22 pm #

FYI; the pulmonary system has the most ACE receptors in the body with renal and cardiac systems next. COVID enters via ACE receptors and thus attacks the pulmonary system first, and then the vascular system via S1 glycoprotein spikes that are toxic and inflammatory.

RE the flu hiatus: the CDC has admitted that the COVID swab test cannot differentiate between the COV and flu, and maybe even the common cold (which is a corona virus strain). Thus its uselessness due to too many false positives and false negatives. The flu was likely out there but was called COVID due to test problems. ALso, hospitals had an incentive to diagnose COV rather than flu due to billing advantages for COV cases. And hospitals are where 99% of the epidemiologic data come from. (private clinic MDs, myself included, don’t sit around filling out bullshit fed data sheets that they know will be kept or discarded based on agendas).

Strangely, the FDA ‘pulled’ the COV swab test several months ago, but allows its use until the end of dec 2021. This is highly unusual; could it have to do with the fact that the head of the FDA sat on the board of several companies making the BS ‘tests?’ Nah!

          • Paula D October 29, 2021 at 4:26 pm #

Interesting. So the flu tests were negative for covid, but the PCR picked up flu as covid? And the monetary incentive kicked in so they tested for covid instead using the flu swabs?
            That would explain a lot.

          • Paula D October 29, 2021 at 4:27 pm #

I remember the book House of God.
If you don’t look for something you won’t find it.
So they quit using flu swabs and started using PCR, instead.

I watched a video yesterday of Russian President Putin calmly and intently listening to a professor ask 2 long and complex questions and then spontaneously answer both of them in detail.
And, thought ‘what an embarrassment it is for the United States to be nominally represented by a man who can’t even answer prepared questions using a teleprompter.

    • Hereward the Woke October 29, 2021 at 10:18 am #

Oyaji: Love or hate him, Putin is that anachronistic oddity in politics: a leader who actually gives a damn about his own country. He’s also totally outplayed the Wokes of the West and beaten them at every turn. The EU is in the front row of globalism and WEF nastiness. To achieve their aims they need to destroy independent minded nations like Russia. Yet as we speak, they are totally dependent on Russian natural gas to avoid freezing this winte. Maybe the globalists are just stupid and out of touch after all.

Absolutely, and to top it off he told the globalist douches at Cop26 GFY, I ain’t comin’! I mean, right now, Russia is deploying two massive barges in the Arctic, each carrying dual nuclear reactors, scouring the north seas for mineral resources. 4 more of these barges are on the way,

I read an article this morning about American troops landing in Taiwan. I was trying to reconcile why China Joe would do that, him being China Joe and all. So my next thought was, they’re going to have a fake war and give Taiwan back. Fake war, real death…

But, China Joe is more Globalist than Chinese Communist (though there’s not a lot of difference) and it occurred to me that maybe the Globalists really want to defend Taiwan, against China. And then it occurred to me that the Globalists and China BOTH want to rule the world, so it makes sense they would square off.

Russia is being coy. They’ve signaled their not with the Globalists, they’ll sell them natural gas, but they’re not interested in fighting the Chinese. They are having a relationship with the Chinese instead. This kind of explains the Globalist response to Trump, who appeared to be pivoting towards the Russians.

I’m pretty damn sure I’m a couple of moves behind reality.

“I read an article this morning about American troops landing in Taiwan. ” The article I read a few days earlier said those troops have been in Taiwan for months. One of Taiwan’s leaders spilled the beans the other day. Up until about 1979 the US regularly kept some troops on Taiwan, but around that time withdrew them in a conciliatory gesture to Red China.

I am nearly 60 years old and I remember the Cold War well, having been a participant towards the end of it in the 1980’s. If you had told me 30 years ago that I’d one day think more highly of the leader of RUSSIA than I do of any sitting POTUS, I’d have laughed hysterically.

        Well…..Hell has finally frozen over.

I’ve said for some time now that I find Putin to be far more admirable as a political leader than most of our own politicians, and certainly more so than Joe Biden.

It is plainly obvious that Putin is a Russian nationalist and a patriot. He actually gives a shit about his own country and acts to defend its interests.

Is he a western-style democrat (with a small D)? No. He is a democratically elected leader with a strong authoritarian streak. So, yeah, not exactly up to our constitutional stadards.

But here is why Putin does NOT do that I approve of:

        1) He does fling open his country’s borders and invite a worldwide foreign invasion.

        2) He does not allow mentally ill people who cannot even figure out what sex they are to have a meaningful and influential role in running his country.

        3) He does not encourage mass lawlessness on the streets where no citizen’s life or property is safe.

        4) He does not weaken his police and military forces with idiotic woke ideology.

        5) He does not abandon Russian citizens who find themselves in peril abroad.

        6) He does not denigrate his own country’s language, culture, history, and traditions.

        7) He does not cripple his own country’s energy industry to appease “climate change” extremists and alarmists.

        8) He does not deliberately sabotage his country’s economy.

        9) He does not fritter way his country’s treasury on idiotic “programs” that his country cannot afford.

        10) He does not appoint mentally deranged trannies to be 4-Star “admirals.”

        11) He does not govern while mentally crippled with dementia.

I could probably go on and on, but I’ll let others add to the list, if so inclined.

Re natural gas, my Moscow friend (financial/economic analyst specializing in energy issues) writes this a.m.:

“P[utin] announced this week about the increase of natural gas supply to European consumers in order to fill their underground gas storages. For some [in Russia] it looked as a gesture of unbelievable generosity that does not make sense with regard to our European “partners”. They blamed Russia many times in creating the current gas market crisis, although Gazprom had completely fulfilled its contractual obligations. It is surprising that they did not blame the U.S. shale gas suppliers or Qatar (plus Norwegian, Algerian, etc. ) gas producers that had redirected their LNG supply flows to the lucrative gas markets in Asia.
Actually, a rational reason for the P’s decision was that the prices of European imports of goods would otherwise have grown up and contributed to the consumer price inflation in Russia. In my view, this is a good example of a cooperative solution in the sense of game-theoretic reasoning. A one-sided solution beneficial for Gazprom would be to continue exercising its monopoly position and to limit gas supply to the European spot market.
The European spot price for gas fell immediately after P made this announcement by 300 hundred dollars per thousand cubic meters (that is roughly by a quarter)! Nevertheless, I am sure that the anti-Russian EC politicians will continue to blame Russia and P in the current energy crisis.
They all are indeed tinfoil hat crazies!”

Indeed they are. As are their US counerparts who are the ones actually driving this energy insanity. As Gail Tverberg writes in her latest post on energy (www.ourfiniteworld.com):

“”European economists should have told European citizens, “There is no way you can get along using renewables alone for many, many years. Treat the countries that are exporting fossil fuels to you very well. Sign long term contracts with them. If they want to use a new pipeline, raise no objection. Your bargaining power is very low.” Instead, European economists talked about saving the planet from carbon dioxide. It is an interesting idea, but the sad truth is that if Europe takes itself out of the contest for energy imports, it mostly leaves more fossil fuels for exporters to sell to others. “

      • JohnAZ October 29, 2021 at 12:28 pm #

Russia is no.2 on the target list, right after the US.

        Putin knows it.

It is ironic that with all the brouhaha about climate change, the countries that will retain power are the ones with fossil fuels. That is why the globalists want climate power to drive down these superpowers.

Ain’t gonna happen. Until the climate idiots come up with an economically feasible, effective substitute for oil and gas, things will remain as it is.

Want proof? What happens to the EU if Russia says no? Or China?
The worst scenario for the globalists is if Russia and the US diversify their economies to the point they do not have to depend of FF exports any more. That means the US starts building itself again.

That is why Obama and Biden have tried to destroy our manufacturing sector, to force us, and Russia to keep shipping oil.

I wonder how much of a charade the anti oil climate folks really are. I have a feeling that we shall soon see as the prices just keep climbing. Could be the US, Russia and the Middle East may have the world by the gonads in a few years.

Rothschilds, Soros, Rockefeller stick that one away.

        • BackRowHeckler October 29, 2021 at 2:44 pm #

As Jim points out in TLE, there is no effective substitute for fossil fuels. It doesn’t exist, which is the reason the “Transition to Renewables” is such a joke. Yet they present it to us with a straight face.

That video must be coming from a long speech Putin recently made at the Valdai club, apparently something like a russian version of Davos. Here is an english translation of the transcript:

I was reading this and it was a shock. What, other countried have grown ups as leaders? And he wasn’t just adequate. He seemed not just competent, in command of issues down to details like the price of natural gas, but also loving and caring about his nation, and its place among nations and in history. A De Gaulle for Russia.

As you said, his speech was followed by a long Q&A, and he was able to make long, sensible answers to every possible topic raised, from the pandemic to Afghanistan to freedom of the press to China to energy to Ukraine etc. I try to picture a Biden, a Trudeau doing something like this and the absurdity hurt, I felt like I wanted to weep, why oh why, what went wrong how come we are stuck with this clown or that clown?

      On immigration:
“People in [lagging] countries have a growing sense of unfulfilled and failed expectations and the lack of any opportunities not only for themselves, but for their children, as well. This is what makes them look for better lives and results in uncontrolled migration, which, in turn, creates fertile ground for social discontent in more prosperous countries. I do not need to explain anything to you, since you can see everything with your own eyes and are, probably, versed on these matters even better than I.”

      On woke historical revisionism:
“We look in amazement at the processes underway in the countries which have been traditionally looked at as the standard-bearers of progress. Of course, the social and cultural shocks that are taking place in the United States and Western Europe are none of our business; we are keeping out of this. Some people in the West believe that an aggressive elimination of entire pages from their own history, “reverse discrimination” against the majority in the interests of a minority, and the demand to give up the traditional notions of mother, father, family and even gender, they believe that all of these are the mileposts on the path towards social renewal.

The advocates of so-called ‘social progress’ believe they are introducing humanity to some kind of a new and better consciousness. Godspeed, hoist the flags as we say, go right ahead. The only thing that I want to say now is that their prescriptions are not new at all. It may come as a surprise to some people, but Russia has been there already. After the 1917 revolution, the Bolsheviks, relying on the dogmas of Marx and Engels, also said that they would change existing ways and customs and not just political and economic ones, but the very notion of human morality and the foundations of a healthy society. The destruction of age-old values, religion and relations between people, up to and including the total rejection of family (we had that, too), encouragement to inform on loved ones – all this was proclaimed progress and, by the way, was widely supported around the world back then and was quite fashionable, same as today. By the way, the Bolsheviks were absolutely intolerant of opinions other than theirs.”

There you have it, Putin calling the wokes bolsheviks. Or regarding the new sexual mores in Loudon county schools Mr. Kunstle condemned:

“In a number of Western countries, the debate over men’s and women’s rights has turned into a perfect phantasmagoria. Look, beware of going where the Bolsheviks once planned to go – not only communalising chickens, but also communalising women. One more step and you will be there.

[] Not to mention some truly monstrous things when children are taught from an early age that a boy can easily become a girl and vice versa. That is, the teachers actually impose on them a choice we all supposedly have. They do so while shutting the parents out of the process and forcing the child to make decisions that can upend their entire life. They do not even bother to consult with child psychologists – is a child at this age even capable of making a decision of this kind? Calling a spade a spade, this verges on a crime against humanity, and it is being done in the name and under the banner of progress.”

I could go on and on, pretty much every paragraph I just wanted to cheer. Tell it like it is, preach on, brother!

I’d invite you to read all of it. And ponder: this is the man almost systematically depicted in the western media as the greatest force for evil in the world today.

What sort of repudiation are you expecting?

Just in the quotes I had, you can read: “the Bolsheviks destroyed the very notion of human morality and the foundations of a healthy society.” “beware of going where the Bolsheviks planned to go” “they were absolutely intolerant”

And if you go to the full transcript, you could find he goes on and on. On 1917: “revolutionary shocks led to the collapse and disintegration of a great power” “revolutions are not a way to settle a crisis but a way to aggravate it. No revolution was worth the damage it did”

The guy is a full-stack Burkean conservative!
“This conservative approach is not about a fear of change or a restraining game, much less about withdrawing into our own shell. It is primarily about reliance on a time-tested tradition, the preservation and growth of the population, a realistic assessment of oneself and others, a precise alignment of priorities, a correlation of necessity and possibility, a prudent formulation of goals, and a fundamental rejection of extremism as a method. And frankly, in the impending period of global reconstruction,[] moderate conservatism is the most reasonable line of conduct, as far as I see it.”

“The cost of ill-conceived social experiments is sometimes beyond estimation. Such actions can destroy not only the material, but also the spiritual foundations of human existence, leaving behind moral wreckage where nothing can be built to replace it for a long time.”

“’Conservatism is not something preventing upward, forward movement, but something preventing you from sliding back into chaos.’ If we treat conservatism this way, it provides an effective foundation for further progress.”

Perhaps I was wrong. But he has spoken of the fall of the Soviet Union as the greatest tragedy of the 20th century. And many of the nations of Eastern Europe continue to fear Russia – which is a tragedy since these nations and Russia are the only hope of Western Civilization.

The Russians as presently the Russian Federation are a large land mass with huge resources but not a very large population. They have at present the technologic advantage over much of the countries on the planet with their weapons systems.

Since they are not seeking to be aggressors they can concentrate on defensive systems with offensive capability as deterrence.

It remains to be seen what occurs in the Donbass. It is possible events will unfold which will bring those “break-away republics” who speak Russian, being ethnic Russians, either into the Federation or result in the formation of a quasi-independent country with close ties to Russia.

I would not call this empire expansion, rather a rejoining of a population group to the larger entity, as was the case with Crimea.

What will happen to the rest of the Ukraine is unclear. The Bandera neonazis will seek to dominate the remaining territory. Will they have a sponsor? Will they succumb to tenuous assurances from entities represented by “Joe Biden” and seek to disrupt whatever balance might exist in the area up to and including direct military action in Eastern Ukraine?

Will they instigate a conflict they can only lose?

It doesn’t look good. Major conflict has been avoided so far, but now the Minsk agreement seems to have been relegated to the toilet.

The Russians can bide their time, at least for a while longer, and see how it plays out.

I have long watched Putin—literally, I mean, when I have been able to see videos of him in situations of public discourse. For instance, if he was a guest of the Sunday program host, Soloviev (I think).

I had Russian in high school but have lost most of it. However, Putin speaks so clearly and concisely when people loft questions at him—he is one who can think in paragraphs, and offer clear explanations. His speaking manner and tone etc. are so clear that with the aid of captions, I can catch quite a lot on the fly. The man is truly impressive.

At one meeting he had last year in which he discussed and answered questions regarding agriculture, a woman described problems providing adequate nutritious school lunches to children in a school somewhere in the Urals. Putin listened to her presentation and responded: We have to take care of that. Then he turned to an aide of his and said, I am directing Mrs. whatever her name was to contact you to take immediate steps to solve this issue. Please meet with her after this session.

You knew that it would be done, and there would be follow-up. He had facts and figures at his fingertips regarding the new agricultural program in the southern part of the country to build self-sufficiency in non-GMO fruits and vegetables and also dairy products. Absolutely incredible. Mind like steel trap. Modest. Determined.

          HtW: “…Men against Boys…”

I rather imagine that the parade of clowns, grifters and stooges that the electorate is presented with every few years is nothing more than a bald expression of the contempt held by those in power for the rest of us. Their contempt is so naked that they dare to prop up a dissolute “dry drunk” playboy like Dubya Bush, or a manufactured Mad Ave player like O-Bomber, and expect the nation to take him as seriously as those earnest presstitutes on TV and in the blats pretend to.

It all started with Bonzo Reagan. When they [amazingly] saw that they could not only get away with that, but that he was considered an august statesman and elegant representative for the USA, they knew they could do as they wished.

Recall the pitiful parade of latter-day Roman emperors, put in place then cut down (often literally so) by the Praetorian Guard – the real power-holders. Even killing them off would change nothing, as the Empire went sliding sideways.

      • scoubidou123 October 29, 2021 at 5:56 pm #

Yeah Putin is known for, once a year, going live for a marathon Q&A on national TV, and people bring up whatever the concerns are…

        – My wife is threatened of being fired by her boss for not taking the vaccine, but she has a medical condition exempting her
        – the city wants to have me pay for connecting my house to the natural gas line
        – what is going on with Ukraine
        – etc

Of course you wonder how much of it is stage-managed, yet Putin seems pretty solid throughout.

Izzy: Great news about Japan. That’s another nation that has wriggled out of the globalist grasp by not pushing the death shots.

    • Wizard of the Saddle October 29, 2021 at 11:56 am #

Thank God the Japanese had the common sense to change course and show others the way.

This was mainly possible because unlike most other Western countries, Japan remains an almost 100% homogenous society. Their minds are not confused by woke multiculturalism and their society still respects science, truth, and logic.

The rest of the Western World would do well to emulate their example and end this rush towards mass national suicide. End open borders. End multiculturalism. End Wokeism.

Enough of the insanity. Only real, authentic, homogenous nations will survive in the long haul.

You think that if the Covid subsided in the next six months that it would make one single difference in the global situation.

The good thing would be that maybe everyone would talk about stuff that makes a difference.

      • Paula D October 29, 2021 at 1:42 pm #

The goal is not the eradication of covid.
The goal is the tracking system they are implementing, using covid as an excuse.
Someone pointed out that the name “covid” is an acronym for
        Certificate Of Vaccination ID.

wow, thanks for that. Makes sense.

I thought that COV was meant to stand for “coronavirus.” But whence the ID part?

Maybe this is it. Maylbe it helps explain why they were already talking about covid 19 back in 2017.

Because they knew they would introduce some kind of coronavirus in 2019 as a cover (hey!) for an ID system that GAVI, Gates, et al. have wanted to “introduce”/impose for years.

Of course they have been developing the vectors for this. Something that can be injected.
          Better than a tattoo.

The Japanese are able to resist, subtly but firmly, when they see a program clearly not in their national interest. They are an eminently practical people; from 1946 onward there was open scorn and contempt for the militarists, the ones who had led the nation into utter devastation – not because they had lost the Pacific War but because they had plunged into it blindly and fervently, when it was clear they were up against a superior power.

Music-hall Prime Minister Tojo shouts “What is the outcome of the Battle of Midway?”

Fearful Navy Admiral: “Absolute disaster! We lost 3 carriers! They snookered us!”

Tojo (triumphantly): “Declare this a great victory for the Empire of Japan.”

[Sad, rich laughter from the audience.]

That the Japanese government would find a way to excuse themselves from the clot-shot-fest is no surprise.

A few years ago a group of Iranians in Kansai proposed to build a mosque in the city of Kobe.

      They were politely turned down.

“Islam is not suitable for Japan.”

      I found that rich.

Sadly, under the current regime, the “arc of history” for America points to social collapse. In this Fourth Turning, America’s leaders have failed it with tragic consequences.

I expect American refugees to turn up at the Canadian border some day before 2025. We’ll welcome those who aren’t “woke”.

Raymond R: The way things are going it’s hard to tell which of the two it’s best to flee to. Maybe in 2025 they’ll be millions of Yanks and Canucks meeting on the border, asking “Your place or mine?”

      • Islander October 29, 2021 at 11:52 am #

Good one! Too true! I certainly wouldn’t be heading for Canada anytime soon.

The USA is probably easier to “disappear” in than Canada, at this point.

    • Wizard of the Saddle October 29, 2021 at 12:00 pm #

While I am totally in-synch with your analysis, I’m confused as to why Americans would look to Canada as a refuge from Wokesterism? Justin Trudeau is one of the most hopelessly woke political leaders on the planet.

Now, if the more conservative western provinces of Canada were to secede and form a sensible country led by sensible people, I would agree that I could see myself moving to, say, Saskatchewan, or Alberta.

Civil War II The Coming Breakup of America

    Thomas W. Chittum

    It won’t be pretty.

    • Freddie October 29, 2021 at 10:50 am #

Have you ever read “War of the World” by Niall Ferguson, Wilburs?

Interesting analysis of what happens when multi-ethnic empires break up into nationalistic units.
Basically, we have all seen this movie before. The entire twentieth century featured the breakup of the empires of; Austro-Hungary, Russia, Japan and Ottomans (not to mention the British Empire).
Everyone got a front row set to to the ghastly, murderous process.

      • Islander October 29, 2021 at 11:58 am #

They didn’t really break up on their own, but got major pushes.

The Brits were salivating over the Ottoman Empire for a long time; in fact, aiding its breakup and scooping up the valuable bits was very likely a cabal of British deep-staters maneuvered the country into the Great War in the first place. Of course they also wanted to eliminate the competition of the swiftly developing German ReichWilhelm sort of finally figure out that he’d been had (the operation went forward full speed ahead once his grandmum, Queen Victoria, died).Which had been helping the Ottomans overcome infrastructure and military weaknesses with technological (railroads) assistance and investment and military assistance (training of officer corps, etc.). So, Germany had to go. (Top British Jews hated Germany already and wanted Palestine.)

And the same goes for the Austrian Empire. There were definitely plenty of ethnic cracks, but there were also outsiders wedging, wedging . . .

        • Hereward the Woke October 29, 2021 at 5:55 pm #

Islander: Yep, we Brits have a lot to answer for. And what did our cunning manoeuvres to bring down Imperial Germany, take over the Ottoman Empire and secure the goodies in the Middle East empire bring us in the end? Victory in 1918 but total exhaustion and over-reach that spelt the end of our top dog status on the world map. Let’s hope that’s a foreshadowing of what the globalists are in for.

      • Jarek October 29, 2021 at 1:07 pm #

Multi-ethnic empires are disasters – even if they’re all of the same race and religion. Now consider multiracial, cultural, and cult America. It’s a fucking nightmare and a joke.

    • Islander October 29, 2021 at 3:51 pm #

      From the book’s blurb:

“He therefore predicts that Brazilianization dooms America to die a violent death, breaking it into three ethnically-based new countries along Mexican/European-American/Black lines from broad regions already predominantly populated by those groups.”

I wonder whether a breakup along racial lines will group the blacks and Hispanics together. I think many Latinos and Hispanics will choose to be “white.” Because many of them already do so, according to a number of studies (sorry, too long ago for me to be able to locate them).

A quick search gives some hits, e.g.:

But I also think it is likely that the real breakup will be along ideological lines. In that case, too, many Hispanics and Latinos, but not all, will go with the white “Patriots.” The question in my mind is how this would break down geographically. Because there are plenty of white “Patriots’ in the Northeast, and I highly doubt that they will abandon this territory. But who knows? Things sure could get messy.

In the Revolutionary period, most of the Loyalists decamped to Canada. It is interesting to contemplate which group of Americans will identify and “loyalists” and which as “rebels.”

It may turn out to be important which group succeeds in grabbing the “loyalist” label.

      • Hereward the Woke October 29, 2021 at 5:57 pm #

Islander: that’s what I thought too about Chittum’s book. There will be some racial overtones in any break up, but it will indeed be more likely to be along ideological lines. I can’t believe that every single non-white in the US (and elsewhere) is happy with all the PC and Woke garbage either.

Why are we not speaking about the proposed billionaire tax?

One advantage to going woke is the ability to see through the propaganda employed by the ultra-rich and the cohort of right-wing news establishments that service their bullshit.

“Is America Socialist?”, the headlines cry out! In time of need, they start pandering to the conservative base with their appeals to capitalism, free markets, and government overreach, ’cause God forbid multi-billionaires be forced to pay up, and yes, pay more.

You don’t get to exploit a broken tax system, a rigged “free market” system, and a wealth protecting off-shoring and unrealized gains (they borrow against assets) system without having to pay for it.

But even Joe “I love Guns and real women” working class righty sees through that. They see how the greediest of society keep getting richer. Moving their business off-shore while profiting from the members-only insider training rackets more commonly referred to as “hedge funds”.

No, nobody feels sorry for the oligarchs. The plutocrats.
You wanted woke, well, you got it: go woke, go broke*

*now applies to the poor multi-billionaires

Ever consider that when you take away capital from the wealthy productive sector and hand it to the indigent, we do not have a clue sector, that you might be damaging the economic strength just a tad.

Look at infrastructure. The productive folks use it more than the non-productive so they should pay more of the freight. Like truckers on the highway. A fair progressive income tax, pay more as you earn more, is in order. Not the 90% crap of the fifties, a fair tax progression that would allow the corporations and other businesses to fire most of their tax lawyers.

Do I think it possible with the idiots in the Deep State? Not on your life.

        • JohnAZ October 29, 2021 at 2:59 pm #

Karen, you forget that these folks started out poor, or their empires. They all started by coming up with something the public wanted or needed.

          Oil. Rockefeller

          Steel Carnegie

          Finance Morgan

          Ford Cars

          Edison Electricity and Light

          Edison Audio

          RCA Transistor

          Intel IC chip and Microprocessor

Gates Microsoft office. Microsoft operating system

Steve Jobs Apple Mac, IPhone wireless

I do not know the name but a failed master’s thesis on distribution became FedEx.

          Musk EV leader space leader

Throughout History, one man or a small group invented things and built dynasties. These are the productive wealthy.

          Brainwashed, my butt.

Your last statement is ignorant. News out today that Biden wants to hand $500000 to each family crossing the southern border who have been separated. All medical care is being provided for these indigent law breakers. Crime levels are building rapidly because these people have nothing else to do. Where do you think the federal government wants to do with its 3.5 trillion dollar package. Even the moderate Dems are choking on this giveaway.

            What a coincidence.

          • Anthea October 30, 2021 at 7:10 am #

While I haven’t looked into this very much, my impression is that billionaire-level wealth is mostly conferred by government through monopolies, subsidies, and market-rigging against smaller competitors through licensing, taxation, and regulations.

You can see this is the dairy industry, which makes it virtually illegal for a small farmer to sell milk, and in agriculture in general, where the corporate farms are subsidized. Small famiy farms also get subsidies, but they are pretty much crumbs, and government has made it virtualy illegal for them to sell many agricultural products, and they can’t compete on price against the subsidized corporate farms.

“Little-guy” start-ups are often made impossible through licensing and regulation. One small example of this is that people in my area often complain that they can’t find and electrician who will do work at their home or business. This is because and independent-contractor type of electrician would have to be licensed in several counties and multiple cities and towns to have a viable business, and the licensing costs alone make this impossible.

Another example: One of my relatives, a retired nurse, started a highly successful business travelling to the homes of elderly people to give pedicures. The licensing and regulatory requirements were not onerous in Kansas, but when she moved a few miles across the state line to Missouri, these requirements were so onerous that she had to give up the business–clearly designed to lock most people out of such a business.

These are just micro-examples, but I suspect the game becomes progressively more rigged in the case of larger businesses. Obamacare is one example of a tax policy designed to destroy small businesses.

        • SvrzoH October 29, 2021 at 3:13 pm #

I do recall JAz confession of inheriting a small oil well from his ancestor who knew how to break some knee caps in order to secure it for himself, as common in those times. That alone made him a “conservative”, “fighter for the cause” and a poster boy in reciting “capitalism in theory” with a gaze and tears in his eyes, but blind to simple fact what is going around him at this moment.
Recent anniversary of Qadhdhafi’s demise there were quite a few of articles about what nationalized oil did to the lives of citizens of Libya prior to destruction by the US lead coalition.
Lost irony in brief moment of cheer to those accolades by the blind sheep baffles me still.

TCL I think many of us suffer from this conundrum. We are ready to do whatever it takes to end this madness but lack direction. Not saying that we need some flamboyant patriot leader, that would be the kiss of death.

I read a blog post recently that the upcoming insurrection will most likely resemble the Irish “Troubles”. Guerilla fighting, quick strikes, bombs and the like. If more of these woke politicos were afraid each they stepped out of their door it would be a start.

I’m thankful that these parents in Virginia are taking a stand. All it takes is one brave act to kindle the flame. Because I live in a like-minded area it’s hard to imagine this type of action, but our sheriff and commissioner have assured us that when the tribes head up our way from Atlanta they and about three other counties will shut all roads down. It’s a start.

The sad fact is that until people become truly uncomfortable, whether it be from hunger or cold, most are willing to stand on the sidelines.

There’s a ‘neuveau riche’ neighborhood (formerly a nice ranch) nearby, on one of my cycling routes, that is at the end of a stretch of baseline road, with retaining walls on the uphill side. One of the retaining walls gets zapped with slogans about once or twice a month now, the latest was “Joe Biden muched my a**!” This was slightly toned down from previous messages. There is an obvious patina of repaint on the wall as the city (paid for by you’n’me) gets repeatedly called to ‘do something!’ about it.

This is a spot where ‘the youts’ now gather in race cars at night and make six metric s#!+-tons of noise. Those PMC-level folks are locked in a ‘gated community,’ have coyotes eating their pets, wild fires jumping the road, and now night races. Having to read “Joe Biden sucks big d***!” from behind the wheel of their Porsches must really chap their sphincters!

        Based: the opposite of de-based.

        Hookups are de-based.

Regarding the vengeance imperative, I have a question to ask the ever-informative Clusters:

Can anyone tell me about how the vaxxpass is affecting trucking and supply chains in Europe?

I heard them making noise about vax mandates here in the US, and I haul cargo from the LA ports to the Northeast weekly.

Are the drivers slowing or striking in the EU?

Thanks, CFers, I don’t trust the official organs and rely on Mr. K and his rowdy stalwarts as a mainstay.

Alzaebo: all I see is my little corner of Switzerland and France, and I see no difference from usual. I’m out on the road a lot with my job and have still dodging in and out of enormous rigs on the main autoroutes from all parts of Europe. Don’t see many shortages on the shelves either. Maybe the big manufacturers are having trouble but I’m not sure. France is screwed anyway, but no by supply chain problems. Just my two cents worth, my friend. Hope it goes well for you and God Bless America!

    • Alzaebo October 29, 2021 at 11:00 am #

With what I’ve been able to gather from the CF Nation, I’d like to predict a probable future:

When you kill the chicken to scare the monkey, you don’t kill ALL the chickens. Just enough.

I surmise we kulaks are going to be squeezed into supply-chain rationing, with a wave of labor Replacement.
Include the Afghan small-arms fighters as enforcer strike units and spoilers to counter the 2A types.
The Holodomor won’t arrive until we discover our girls are sterile about 5 to 10 years down the line.

For now, though, I’d say enough targeted batches were saline shots to get us used to the new normal of an elevated casualty count, enough to make the monkeys take the pandemic marketing seriously, but not the wave of ADE Killshot we were dreading.

Our post-industrial, post-manufacturing economy of such ‘services’ as the legal, education, and compliance sectors has added a new wrinkle: the ‘medical’ services industry of keeping enough people sick and unemployed that a treatment, tracking, and UBI economy will absorb the Federal Reserve inflation.

Government spending is accounted for as a rising GDP. A Treatment economy will appear in Wall Street ledgers as growth, further feeding the asset-stripping class and their media messengers. The Replacements need only keep costs low until the resisters are too old, feeble, and few to demand pensions or rights.

A slo-mo Holodomor for the kulaks of Western civilization.

The water will simmer in a bleed-off like a continuous low-intensity conflict, but the planners aren’t intending a boil…yet.

Now, for those volunteers who still fight in the political arena, I applaud you. Sanctuary states such as Florida and Texas depend on on only one election, yet they still may serve as redoubts for the Untouchables, offering a parallel dissident economy for the unemployed cops, nurses, EMTs, and the shopkeepers who will serve them as happened in the Gold Rush. North America is still the largest pan-Caucasian tribe on the planet.

What you outline is definitely what they have in mind; in fact, they make no secret of it. However, we aren’t docile kulaks or WW2 era Jews. Most successful societal changes and revolutions only involve a small percentage of the population. So it will be this time with the resistance. We are already seeing this: nations refusing the jab, defying the EU; Red states carrying out silent secession from DC, whole areas of the world taking Ivermectin. The great irony of this is that we may indeed end up Building Back Better – not in the way the globalist psychopaths imagine, but more in a localised, downsizing, people-power kind of way. It’s a time of great fear and uncertainty, but also of hope and opportunity. A kind of global scaled SWOT analysis!

One was a fellow who was obviously a recent immigrant from Latin America, which I found interesting. Yeah, this is a good example of the kind of thing I seriously didn’t sign up for. The maximum I would have advocated for school curricula in 1986 is the teaching of tolerance and understanding towards LGBT-kind and the strong discouragement of the sort of bullying that was commonplace back then. This bizarre swinging to the very opposite extreme sounds a like a good way to make things whipsaw back towards the previous extreme in the cultural mindset.

Loudon County School District may be the hill the Wokesters die on. People will put up with quite a bit of stupidity but the cover-up of the rape of two girls by the same boy pretending to be a girl is indefensible and the administrators know it. But they’re doing all they can to cover their ass.

“You have all become obsessed with your own safety over the past few months, doing everything to protect yourselves from ‘domestic terrorists,’ which normal people refer to as ‘moms.’ A $3 million security budget, TSA-style pat-downs just to enter this room — all of this to ‘protect’ you adults from the people you’re supposed to serve,” she said.

That business of the tranny 4-start admiral was like one of the deliberately farcical situations that permeate author Kurt Schlicter’s series of books set in a post-split, Civil War 2 America where a red-state dominated remnant of the United States finds itself permanently in conflict with a blue-state dominated “People’s Republic of North America.”

Even Schlicter says that the antics of the Wokesters keeps fulfilling his prophesies and forcing him to ramp up his game in each subsequent novel in order to ratchet the Wokester looneiness up to new levels of ridiculousness.

That’s kind of like the governors who ban vaccine passports. They aren’t telling private business what they can and cannot do, they are telling the federal government they can’t tell the private businesses to ask for a government pass.

Some Republicans still aren’t clear on this.

Even if parents DID tell the schools what to teach, is that worse than having some quasi-governmental body or evil old barren commie hag Randi Weingarten telling the schools what to teach?

          • Anthea October 30, 2021 at 10:20 am #

            @ Wizard:

I absolutely agree that the entire public education, K-PhD, should be abolished. Been saying this for twenty years.

In my area, the community would immediately step up to the plate, especially the churches, many of which have longed to set up church schools since forever.

I think the best approach would be for kids to be primarily home-schooled using an online curriculum, and for the churches or other community organizations to hold classes, so that each student got 2-4 hours a week in a classroom setting. Most churches already have meeting rooms, or at least a church basement. Classroom time would help students stay motivated and on-track, help them over rough spots, especially in advanced subjects, offer enrichment, and provide social interaction. Part-time teachers should not be too costly, and parents who volunteered to help with teaching could get free tuition–which should be cheap to begin with.

Since my community is very generous and charitable, I think that poor families would be granted scholarships and help with buying laptops. Do away with the portion of property tax that goes to public education, and many people in the area would have a lot more money to be generous with.

DOE, a Carter creation. If, a big if, it actually worked this country would be the best-education place on the planet.

Instead we have this absolute mess of an agenda-driven system which relegates actual fundamental learning and necessary life skills (reading, math, being able to string a few coherent, grammaticaly correct sentences together to form either a written paragraph or intelligible speech) to a back seat in a dead-end corridor.

One huge problem with home schooling folks.

The average set of parents are unable to do it.

Why? Because they have been made stupid by the previous generation of schools.

          • JohnAZ October 29, 2021 at 1:08 pm #

Charter schools sound great, produce good results, right?

No wonder, they segregate out the kids that cannot keep up and send them where? Public schools.

If that ability was removed, charter schools would decline back to the level of public schools.

The real answer is to improve public schools, segregate the kids with problems and do remedial work with them, no more mainstreaming 5% of the kids to the detriment of the vast majority.

That means, get the Deep State out of the classroom. Get the parents back in, tighten down on teacher qualifications, run the schools from the district level with financing from the states. Fire 2/3 of the administrators in place right now. Fire 2/3 of the school psychologists, they won’t be needed. Bring in legitimate learn English as a second language classes before kids are put into school. It is hard enough for kids to absorb what they must without nor understanding what the teacher is saying.

You’re in America, speak English, or go back where you came from.

          • MaryQueen October 29, 2021 at 1:30 pm #

            Hey JAZ,

Don’t be too sure the average parents can’t home school. They just don’t know anything about it.

Peggy Hall at thehealthyamerican.org is teaching seminars and has a whole video series on how doable it is to homeschool. I think what sets parents back is thinking they need a whole school day, 6-8 hours, to school when really all you need is 2-4 hours tops.

Most people can handle that. Also, when they no longer have to shuffle kids about all over town, they will probably get a lot of hours back that they are needlessly expending currently. Also, a lot more parents can work online now, which also saves hours every day.

It can really work for people if they just educate themselves about it.

A huge amount of learning takes place in families before a child ever enters school. A doting grandma sure helps the children get a jump on reading, numbers, general receptivity to learing, music, etc.

The premise of the Head Start program was that poor chidren didn’t get this early head start that middle-class children got.

Not to belabor a point, I think most parents are fully capable of schooling their children, certainly through elementary school.

There are masses of materials now to help them structure the time and lesson content.

I had a neighbor who home-schooled six children. Her husband was in the Army. Their family was very musical (the dad was Irish and played popular music on the piano). Most of their kids were AHEAD of the regularly schooled kids. Their daughter got a music scholarship to the U of Michigan.

The biggie is freeing up one parent to concentrate on the home schooling. It is not reasonable to expect a parent to concentrate on both work and home-schooling the children.

          • Hereward the Woke October 29, 2021 at 6:04 pm #

Indeed. But watch out for private schools. The ones I’m involved with are almost worse than the public schools for PC and Woke. They need their accreditation!

          • Anthea October 30, 2021 at 11:04 am #

            @ JohnAZ:

Most if not all public education is so bad that most kids would be far better off if they never went to school at all. (I say this as a former teacher.)

I also think that most parents (with the probable exception of black parents) are well able to home-school their kids. I think the vast majority could do it, especially with the kind of community support I described above.

There would always be some percentage of parents who would be unable to home-school, of course. There are parents who are alcoholics or drug-addicted, or whose homes are very disordered for other reasons, such as mental illness or disabilities involving the heavy use of opiates. (I have personally known some cases like this.) This is a fairly small group, and I think the community could find ways to help them.

I also think that Hispanic communities would step up to the plate–perhaps even sooner than white communities. And you can bet the Asian community would.

There are special problems with the black community–the chief of which is that about 50% of blacks are ineducable (and hence derive no benefit from public education to begin with). But black schools are so horrendously bad that I can say unequivocally that ALL black kids would be FAR better off with no public schooling at all. I think even the black community would figure something out to educate that percentage of black kids who are educable.

BEST SONG BY FAR FOR TODAY’S ISSUES. This kid gets it and he is truly an American creation. Not some creature pushed forward by the DARK entertainment system.

Cold cold ashes on the ground
    Nothing lost and nothing’s found
Friends and loved ones falling down
Can’t you hear that mournful sound?
    Nothing left but memories
Of things I still can’t stand to see
There’s an empty spot in me
Where my hometown used to be

This old boat is taking water
It won’t be long ’til it goes down
We’ve had enough to push us over
Time to turn the wheel around

    Neighborhoods left to decay
    People died or walked away
Nowhere left for them to stay
While we just look the other way

This old boat is taking water
It won’t be long ’til it goes down
Had enough to push us over
Time to turn the wheel around

Waves keep pounding through the night
Lost without a ray of light
    Going down without a fight
Is there still time to make it right?

This old boat is taking water
It won’t be long ’til it goes down
Had enough to push us over
Time to turn the wheel around

I loved the metaphor comparing the cult of Joe Biden to those ceremonies performed, for example, by Peruvians with the Inti Raymi Festival where the descendants of the Incas parade around with mummies of past noble families to honor the dead once a year.
A jarring yet totally apt metaphor.

You’ve outdone yourself, James! What a fantastic article today. Just about covers the Wokie breakdown in progress.

Even Obama got in on the Loudon county act, on the wrong side of things, of course, being that he’s probably one of the Jo Jo Maghoul puppet string operators.

“Susan Rice, shadowy Director of the Domestic Policy Council, floated an initiative to give half-a-million dollars to each family member of children and parents who had gotten separated while attempting to enter the US illegally. ” I hadn’t heard of this, but I’m sure it will be met with wide approval from the Covid Death Cult Wokies who also believe in open borders (you know, ‘diversity’) and free trans operations, reparations for descendants of slaves, and that the unvaxxed should be put in camps or killed. It would seem that the more absurd and grotesque the administration gets, the more the Wokies cheer in support. That they are openly supporting the rape of 2 high school girls should tell you all you need to know about them.

I am very happy that “Let’s Go, Brandon” organically grew popular among the youth of the country – what a relief. Some obviously have escaped the programming.

I think the Biden cabal wants to kick-off Civil War 2 while they hold power so they can go full Abe Lincoln on the Right.

We should refuse to oblige them until we wrest control of the government back, assuming we can do so.

Texas shows the way. Gov. Abbott was on Tucker last night outlining the latest ways that Texas is engaged in active sovereign state resistance against the open borders lawlessness perpetrated by the Biden Regime.

Like the Spartans at Thermopylae, Texas is standing in the breach, holding back the invasion, buying time, in the tradition of the Alamo.

It’s time for the other Red States to step up and help Texas secure the border and resist Biden and Co. until we can take back Congress and the WH and bring the curtain down on this attempt by the Wokesters to stage a coup de etat against the historic American nation.

      • Jarek October 29, 2021 at 1:19 pm #

God bless Texas. If he doesn’t back down, the Presidency will be his for the taking – of the New America if not the old. Or at least the Republic of Texas.

The Dominion Machines are the Daleks….

      • JohnAZ October 29, 2021 at 1:20 pm #

Not just Biden and co., but the entire Deep State. Liz Cheney and her allies are twice as dangerous as a moderate Democrat.

      • thirdcoastlegend October 29, 2021 at 1:32 pm #

That may be what they want, but it won’t play out the way they think. No one in the current regime has the stature of a Lincoln.

Same goes for their planned chaos. They may get it, but I doubt they will come anywhere close to building back with their ideal techno-tyrannical state.

Since George Soros came to Austin and gave $500k to defeat a proposition that strengthened the police there have been several false flags. One is an “attack” on a synagogue and the other that I know of, is a group of men dressed as Nazis doing fist-bumps with police. My guess is all of them were actors.

I hope inspite of the onslaught of Californians and Soros money, these people will be held at bay. But a loop hole was found in the new law to prohibit CRT that’s being exploited.

“Just try to remember the concepts of [House Bill] 3979,” Gina Peddy, a Carroll administrator, was heard saying in the recording obtained by NBC News. “And make sure that if you have a book on the Holocaust, that you have one that has an opposing, that has other perspectives.”

  19. mitchellc October 29, 2021 at 10:55 am #

Well, as usual, I have a slightly different take on events.

Again, let’s put significant resource constraints front and center. In a straight up competitive scenario, who would prevail? Woke or normals?

So, contrary to what a poster claimed that no one goes to war thinking they will lose, the woke were facing a similar peril as the Japanese when Roosevelt cut off oil exports.

Hence, the woke were forced into a risky move, much like Pearl, because they really had no alternative. To just sit and let events play out lead to a certain conclusion. So why not roll the dice?

OK, so now that we have a proper war time context, what are the weapons of choice? Normals have traditional arms, whereas woke leadership are initially using 5th generation psyops.

They probably don’t intrinsically care about woke issues more than anyone else; it just provides the mechanism to confuse and confound their enemies.

We can observe their stress points by noting some of their most recent mistakes. Garlands claim of dom ter should help clarify the true state of affairs.

That was stupid, because by now openly declaring their objectives, they move a certain % past the denial or negiotation/anger stage.

Who wants a resigned, don’t give no fucks anymore opposition?

    • D from OR October 29, 2021 at 11:29 am #

Interesting take. The 5th generation psyops are hard to control and they’re piling up in a way that is hard to for Normies to not see.

Woke is nihilistic so it will follow that they will turn against each other to destruction. See the current Congress for example.

    • venuspluto67 October 29, 2021 at 11:32 am #

I think this is a very accurate assessment. The Wokies don’t really have a chance when even from-way-back left-liberals like me are throwing their “Team Blue” t-shirts into the nearest convenient burn-barrel while shaking our heads in utter disgust.

      • Wizard of the Saddle October 29, 2021 at 12:33 pm #

If you were formerly Team Blue, but can no longer stomach the Wokester Bolshevism, you have a lot of countrymen over on the Team Red side here who are always willing to welcome back wayward countrymen who’ve seen the light.

We don’t all have to agree on every little political issue. But we do all have to agree that America, as we used to know it, is worth preserving, and so is freedom and constitutional rule of law, where elections are reasonably honest and every citizen can speak his or her mind without fear of being “cancelled” but the Woke Bolsheviks.

If you are good with this, then cross on over, friend.

      • hmuller October 29, 2021 at 4:36 pm #

The wokies are being used by the globalists like Mao used the Red Guard against his opponents. They will be “defunded” when no longer needed. Most will forget they ever promoted such brain dead ideas.

      • Hereward the Woke October 29, 2021 at 6:12 pm #

Yes: “Who wants a resigned, don’t give no fucks anymore opposition?”

That’s the worst thing they could do, and yet, they are doing it.

D from OR is correct, woke is nihilistic.

    • Jarek October 29, 2021 at 1:21 pm #

Garland was weeping about the Holocaust again the other day. He obviously sees Red Americans as the Germans and wants to do something about that.

  22. The Man They Call Zazelle October 29, 2021 at 11:03 am #

Good North American morning from so-called Nova Scotia, Canada, Jim (HK) and company…

I just finished downloading, from the ‘classic’ Pirate Bay, the entire collection of Midnight Oil (MO) which I mostly missed, given my preoccupation with other stuff back then…

Now, MO’s lead singer, Peter Garrett, ‘got into (State) politics’, despite the spirit of much of MO’s work, and which Garrett has been chastised about. Of course, in any art and life and the universe in general, there is irony and paradox. It’s probably the same as Jim (HK) saying he voted Democrat and still has their card.

So that’s kind of my point I guess. Oh, also, I just found out that David Holmgren of permaculture fame is apparently Jewish. He’s also an anarchist– self-described.

So am I. Not Jewish– although I could become Jewish, FWIW– but anarchist.

Anarchists believe in government, believe it or not, just not the coercive kind, which is illegitimate, but the non-coercive, opt-in/opt-out-leave-us-alone-until/unless-we-want-you kind. It’s about consent.

    Non-consensual sex is rape, yes?

So is the morality behind non-consensual government.

So, Jim, let’s not just fuck Biden. but let’s fuck (and not in a good way) non-consensual government. You are not too old to figure this out, if you haven’t already.

This applies to schooling too. All kids learn differently too. Many learn by being outside under the sky and in the sun and nature, rather than within a walled institution with a prescribed curriculum.

Recommended (so far): ‘Dreamworld’, by Midnight Oil. Still spot-on and with a video on YT to boot.

Boxing Champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. wrote this to his friend Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets who refuses to get vaxxed because apparently he’s been reading too much conspiracy theory stuff on the internet as his accusers like to say.

“America is the land of the free. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and supposedly, freedom to choose. Never be controlled by money. I respect you for having some integrity and being your own man. A free mind makes his own choices and an enslaved mind follows the crowd. Stand for something or fall for anything. One man can lead a revolution to stand up and fight for what’s right. One choice, one word, one action can change the world. It’s crazy how people hate you for being a leader. I hope your actions encourage many others to stand up and say ‘enough is enough.”

I was looking at an article about Florida’s surgeon general, and I was thinking how odd it was, a public health official who was obviously exremely fit and healthy, mentally and physically.

Say we did believe all the propaganda about the virus to end all viruses.

How then, could you explain the choices for those who would handle the response?

Adams, that pick makes sense in that you could hardly leave out the Surgeon General, because most of the public knows what that is.

The other choices though, you had Beelzebub heading the thing, and Bride of Frankenstein, and then there was Pence with his original Ken doll hairdo, except with a fly on top.

Really? that crew was the best theUnited States of America could put forward in a crisis? They didn’t even look competent, because they weren’t. Birx and Fauci had backgrounds of failure, and death and cruelty.

Remember Trump assigned Pence to head up the Covid team and these two were placed at that time. The politicization of Fauci started then. By the time Trump was ousted, he was the main man and fit right in with the Fed control all of the new regime. Then the really dark sides of his connection with China and the bio weapon research that he was doing came to light. Too late, he was a fully fledged Biden team member by then.

“But his excellency Pope Francis ordered the TV cameras turned off, apparently unwilling to be seen consorting with the inanimate, disintegrating graven image of a US president — anymore than he would want to be caught conversing with a statue of the Medici Pope Leo X in his Vatican garden.”

I thought this was quite rich. Conjuring up the image of Leo X, who raped the Vatican treasury, installed his cronies at excellent wages for substandard performance, tried to sell the masses on the idea of purchasing a place in the afterlife (to replenish the depleted coffers), and incensed Martin Luther to the point of initiating a Reformation is so apropos to the goings-on of today.

TBH, this explanation makes little sense to me.

Pope Francis is very much on board with the WEF agenda, and has made many public statements in that direction.

Cardinal Vigano called him out on it several times, including quite recently.

IMO, he doesn’t want to be seen consorting with Biden, because many are starting to figure out that his mission rather seems to be very much in line with what Biden is doing.

Yes, indeed, and when I used to make the blog rounds back in 2005-2009, there were many ‘preppers’ whose blogs I liked. That’s the first place I started to see that things were indeed breaking down. I probably should have followed them even more closely. They were already making moves to live off grid, etc.

What? You are not perfect, Proud Mary?

    • Wizard of the Saddle October 29, 2021 at 12:46 pm #

Speaking a one who has been hard Right for over 40 years, I can confirm that the patriot Right has been prepping for a Second Civil War in this country since about the mid-1990’s. The violent excesses of Bill Clinton and Janet Reno at Ruby Ridge and Waco in 1993 kicked off the concerns of many. The Open Borders B.S. also drove it. Now, after enduring 8 years of Obama’s nonsense and now the Wokester coup being led by the Biden Regime, just about everyone on the Right sees what is coming and has been prepping for it for YEARS.

Does it mean we want such a conflict? For some yes, for many, no. But most all agree that it is almost inevitable now that it is coming. Some are relieved and look at the coming conflict as a time for settling scores and righting the ship. Others dread it, but intend to prevail.

For most all of us, failure is not an option. In a conflict where our Liberties are at stake, this is the hill we will defend to the death. Not because we are Rambos, but because free men and women cannot imagine living as slaves.

      • MaryQueen October 29, 2021 at 1:19 pm #

And yet, I can see that presently, conservatives that I know are way more tolerant of other opinions – even lefties – than the woke so-called ‘left’ is.

I think conservatives have a better grasp too on the fact that this is a top-down war currently, where it’s the PTB against the rest of us. It’s unfortunate that we can’t all band together against the PTB, because then we’d be successful. Instead, we want to go to war with other citizens who have no more power than we do. What good will that serve?

I think the conservatives Achilles’ heel is corporate worship. They are right to criticize big government, but slow to realize that corporations call the shots in our government.

The PTB will be sitting back laughing and drinking martinis together.

You are correct…..up to a point. RINO’s and neocons worship corporate America. They are traitors and fools.

The American Nationalist, or Patriot Right utterly detests corporate America and sees them for the greedy, woke, sellouts that they are.

          • MaryMaryFullOfPride October 29, 2021 at 6:32 pm #

Interesting. I didn’t know there were people on the right in large numbers who also detest corporate America. Thanks for informing me.

Back in the days when I still held out hope for finding “like minded” souls [“it takes a tribe”], I was making occasional contacts with folks preparing for a possible less-than-industrial future.

The landscape held no shortage of militia types – Idaho panhandle was particularly well stocked. What a bunch of bozos with itchy trigger fingers. I found no indication that salt or heirloom seeds or a viable breeding population had ever entered their minds. Buying one more day of existence by killing one’s neighbor with no hope for the species always seemed a little STUPID to me.

      I could be wrong.

      • MaryQueen October 29, 2021 at 1:03 pm #

My lawn guy is an active member of an Idaho militia, and he is also a major gardener and hunter. So, he’s not ignorant at all of what it takes to survive. The network I’m connected to also here is made up of preppers, ham radio experts, and they are huge on natural nutrition/healing/herbs. They shun allopathic medicine. In short, they are on the right track.

        • Hereward the Woke October 29, 2021 at 6:19 pm #

Mary: in short, you friends are doing all the things that I would have called crazy and laughed at even two years ago. How times change!

          • MaryMaryFullOfPride October 29, 2021 at 6:33 pm #

Right? I never thought prepping was crazy, although I used to find it somewhat eccentric.

            Not any more!

        • toktomi October 30, 2021 at 6:27 pm #

This prepping, survivalist, doomer thing is sooooo much bigger than anyone [that includes this old doomer of some 21 years] can imagine.

In my vernacular, the 4 P’s:

Psychology [all things brain related; fear, skills, hopefulness or despair, relationships, etc]
          People [it takes a tribe]
          Possessions [step down, step down]

And in the end, “what’s the point?” What purpose will be served in surviving longer term?

I’ve run into a fair number of survivalist types over the years – mostly idiots to my way of thinking with the militia types being at the top of my idiots list. Oh, and that “Doomsday Preppers” thing was pure colossal silliness.

…or so it seems to me.

        • Anthea October 30, 2021 at 7:49 pm #

A lot of people in my area are preppers, but they make no show of it. They garden and do a lot of canning and so have pantries full of home-canned goods. They raise livestock and hunt, and their freezers are full of meat. They all have firearms, though we have never discussed what kind. Several of my women friends are pretty well versed in herbs and natural medicines.

There is no focus on CWII, secession, or revolution–though the subject has come up from time to time. I was talking about this with one of my lady friends a few years ago when we met for lunch. She said that it would be critical for any secessionist group to immediately take control of the state’s military bases and munitions plants and preferably also militarized police hardware. (Took the words out of my mouth.) I pointed out that the personnel on military bases are not allowed to carry arms. I’ve never had a similar conversation before or since, but I’m sure everyone has thought about this stuff in some depth. It’s sort of taken for granted.

My view is that the main focus should be on building strong communities and strong local economies–basically buiding social and economic structures that can survive and thrive. Defense is an important aspect of this, but not the whole enchilada.

      • Wizard of the Saddle October 29, 2021 at 5:12 pm #

Yes, guns alone are not sufficient preps for hard times, though they are good preps for chaotic times with no rule of law functioning. Some people of evil mindset think guns and ammo are all they will need because they intend to be raisers and marauders – taking what they need from the weak.

IMHO those types will last maybe 6 months after TSHF. They will eventually be exterminated by well-armed and more morally based preppers who do not subscribe to the idea that a Mad Max future is the desireable outcome. Ethical preppers on the right will be keen to see civil society and constitutionally based rule of law restored as rapidly as possible, but with new safeguards against tyranny erected as well.

        • Wizard of the Saddle October 29, 2021 at 5:13 pm #

Yeah, I had another co-worker tell me that he and his brother were not hoarding food, only ammo, for the reason that you state.
I was horrified and he backtracked a little, but…..

        • toktomi October 30, 2021 at 6:39 pm #

The trick for anyone intending to survive longer term is to be able to locate [sooner is better than later] far enough afield of all potentially hostile humans [which includes nearly all humans] as to be able to avoid detection.

A grid down marauder will necessarily need to select his targets judiciously. Any long distance target on an average must yield fuel equal to or greater than that required to get there.

As an aside, I call the N. Idaho area a free fire zone. I trust that all those militia types will be doing each other.

I don’t subscribe to the idea of taunting those whose thinking evolves, as Jarek just did. If a person eventually comes to understand that the Left is not a source of solutions, just a source of socialist misery, then they should be encouraged to continue on their journey of discovery and enlightenment.

Life is a journey. Most folks have to live most of that journey before true wisdom starts to gel in their minds.

          • Jarek October 29, 2021 at 5:39 pm #

Life evolves through conflict. In the mental realm, that means debate. Men trained by women want to be mommy’s little helpers or White Knights riding into defend the princesses. Meanwhile I treat them as equals (at least potentially. Almost all have failed to rise. SSL is the magnificent exception – no doubt largely due to her traditional Southern upbringing). So who is kinder and more respectful? Those who pander or I, Jarek?

  31. observex October 29, 2021 at 12:14 pm #

I was in a certain South American country this week. (Pardon my habit of being vague, I try to share observations here without getting publicly identified and targeted).

I visit that country often and have noticed that MORE people wear masks outside than did a year ago or even six months ago.

Masks while walking alone in the street.

Masks while driving alone in their own cars – I would estimate at least 10% of all drivers are doing this!

A couple walking down a quiet street holding hands wearing masks.

To my eyes, about 80% (!) of people are wearing masks outside in the rich and middle class areas. The amount is less though harder to give a percentage in poorer areas (I drive more than walk by those areas). At best: a man wearing a surgical mask while he rode his horse on a quiet dirt road.

I recently walked a dog in the city around midnight with scarcely a soul on the street. A worker heading to his bus stop yelled at me from across the street in what roughly translates as: “You rich white people! Wear your mask! You’ll kill us all! Fuck you!”

So many people have been conditioned to do something so irrational.

    • MaryQueen October 29, 2021 at 12:27 pm #

            “Turkeys can.

Haha! I worked insulating birdhouses. I pulled a sprayer scaffold across a solid floor of bird manure like a retarded Conan in reverse. Tiny beetles, that we called “shitbugs”, by the millions.

Shitbugs were streaming up and down a barn column, but one was off by himself, contemplating the Universe.

My lead man slapped that lone bug flat.
I cried, ” You fool! Do you know what you’ve done!?”

“Whaa…?” was the look from the confounded crew.

“He was the Einstein of the shitbugs!”, I yelled.

There are long-ago escaped domestic turkeys living in free flocks in many cities, notably Berkeley, CA and Ashland, OR.

OG, in every birdhouse, each flock will pick one turkey, one only, and all the other birds will peck that one to death. Is that what you’re doing? Pecking?

I was on my bike at an intersection waiting (not that I always do) for the red light to turn green, and a couple of people wearing masks (alas, not the Halloween, Phantom of the Opera, costume party, superhero or Guy Falks kind) were walking across in front of me…

I told them politely that they didn’t need to wear a mask outside (Personally, I don’t do so inside either, but I digress…).

Once I said that, to some surprise, a couple of young women (without masks) walking immediately behind them suddenly clapped and cheered what I said. They also said something I didn’t precisely catch about it being similar about the vax.

So there may be more consensus than we may realize, just that many may be fearful/intimidated about expressing it. And in this sociopolitical climate, can we really blame them? So it can help and be insightful to attempt to break the ice.

I’ve lost track of all the reasons I’ve both thought of and encountered why it’s ok not to wear a mask or get jabbed with a so-called vaccine for this virus.

But at this point, it doesn’t appear exactly about any of that anyway, but, rather, more about an opportunity to break/brake and distract from the global-industrial crony-capitalist plutarchy pseudoeconomy and its ongoing war– as any anarchist understands– against the resident populations, approaching its climax.

Live by the lie; die by the lie.

Live by the projections on the cave wall; die by the projections on the cave wall.

      • Nobody is going to die because they wear a mask when they don’t have to. I’ve gone through the whole pandemic without bothering to try and educate anyone walking on the sidewalk wearing a mask. Seriously…. these are one and all, personal decisions. You have no insight here on what these peoples’ reasons for wearing in public were. You are a jackass. A jackass without momentum. Not vaxxed either? Well then I’m going to predict you ending up in a ventilator in the next couple years. I have a pretty high batting average on predictions- check the record. I’m putting my rep on the line here.

You will suffer from Covid and/or a rear-end experience before the next election cycle. I want to read all about your adventures as you type out your reports from the real world using the eye-blink interface for quadriplegics. It will interesting to hear all about your adventures in Intensive Care.

          @ Debbie:

There probably is little point in talking with people who voluntarily wear masks, since they are in a hypnotic trance. They are also retards, and you don’t talk with retards about serious subjects.

On the other hand, if you talk with an employee who is forced to wear a mask because of their job, they will tell you that the masks are bullshit and that all the covid nonsense is just that–nonsense. Nobody believes that shit.

And re your predictions of death and dire disability for the unvaxxed, most indicationas are that the shoe is on the other foot. And there is no need to predict that; the vaxxed dead are piling up apace, and those suffering from life-threatening adverse reactions are impressive in numbers, as well. There is some uncertainty about how the rest of the vaxxed will fare, but all indications are that they are well and truly fucked.

I was, but got over it and have refused to wear a mask in public anywhere, inside or out. It’s a matter of principle for me.

For one thing, masks are idiotic. They don’t do anything but trap pathogens to rebreathe in and make people sick. For another, they muffle your speech. For another, they are the sign of a willing slave. And that’s what this is all really about.

Notice the ruling class more and more goes about bare-faced and refuse to justify it, while demanding that we mask up.

It should be apparent to people now, the psychological underpinnings of this, but it still is not.

          Yes, MaryQueen…

And if some people have a hard time offering reasonable, sound logical, etc., arguments, there are other tacks that they can employ to help, in their minds at least, level the playing field:

FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt), personal attacks, lies, distortions and deplatforming/disappearing people, etc..

          In short, ‘corruptions’.

But of course corruption is unsustainable because relationships depend on trust and related forms that corruption subverts.

          noun: truthiness

“ERs are now swamped with seriously ill patients — but many don’t even have COVID

    October 26, 20215:00 AM ET”

NPR is reporting a story. But of course, being NPR they can’t really bring themselves to report the whole truth, i.e. emergency rooms are being inundated by patients suffering vaccine side effects.

    Instead NPR says:
“Months of treatment delays have exacerbated chronic conditions and worsened symptoms. Doctors and nurses say the severity of illness ranges widely and includes abdominal pain, respiratory problems, blood clots, heart conditions and suicide attempts, among others.”

Got that? All these people have been putting off going to the emergency room for 18 months with heart attacks, strokes, and blot clot problems. They didn’t want to clog things up for the Covid patients.

The article even admits Covid clogged emergency rooms were a lie and a myth back then.

“It’s a stark contrast to where this emergency department — and thousands others — were at the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Except for initial hot spots like New York City, many ERs across the U.S. were often eerily empty in the spring of 2020.”

The article admits there are staffing shortages. but says that’s because nurses are emotionally worn out and quitting in tears; not that vaccine mandates have thinned their ranks.

I swear, it’s like reading Pravda in the old days. You have to read between the lines, weeding out the bullshit and implausible explanations.

But at least a little truth is seeping through, for those who know what to look for.

    • Whatever dude. You don’t shit from shineola.

Did you actually look at the referenced article, Snack Cake?

Emergency rooms are overflowing now, and you say “aint no big deal”

18 months ago the emergency rooms were empty and you (or people like you) claimed we had a giant pandemic going on, because Lester Holt said so. Never mind what you see.

Looks like you are the one who doesn’t know shit from shinola. It must come from reading that NY Times propaganda rag.

        Less than .07%.

At this level no one cares in the government.

After some real data input, I agree that heart, clotting problems are coming from reactions to over active immune systems in susceptible folks. Just not enough to trigger sympathy from the PTB.

        • hmuller October 29, 2021 at 3:49 pm #

I’m sure a “reliable” government or medical establishment organization provided that .07% number. Trouble is, I don’t trust any of them. If they told me cow farts stink, I’d press my nose up a cow’s ass to make sure.

        • MaryMaryFullOfPride October 29, 2021 at 6:44 pm #

          With less than 1% reported.

I think many of us have said many many times up here. I have been looking at 1000s and 1000s of incidents of injury and death since December.

Most of them do not end up reported in VAERS. Some doctors don’t know VAERS exists. It also requires a very rigorous procedure to get incidents reported, and many people have reported giving up.

Wouldn’t you think that an experiment this size should have a central reporting system? There’s a reason there isn’t one.

          • Paula D October 30, 2021 at 12:14 pm #

I was watching someone (can’t remember who) showing that in the Pfizer application for the EUA they said that the follow-up would be VAERS, which is actually a central reporting system.
So they say that VAERS is the main record, then they make it difficult and time-consuming to use it, get the hospital administrators to discourage it, and then tell the stupid and gullible that “Don’t look at VAERS, anyone can go in there and make up reports, so it’s unreliable”.
And then the shitlibs tell you “You can’t believe VAERS reports. Anyone can go in there and make things up” and from that they conclude that no one has died from the vax, which is what they will tell you.
Too Stupid To Live, but convinced that you should also submit.

That’s right HMULLER. Many of these new hospitalizations are from BLOOD CLOTS! You know, the ones the “vaccine” (that isn’t really a vaccine) gives you. That’s a major reason why these “clot shots” are risky and why some people weigh that risk as higher than what covid might due to them, given their age and medical circumstances. You know, my body, my choice!

I have spent a lot more time on “the streets” than you claim to know. A lot more.

            Love And War

When I sing about love and war
            I don’t really know what I’m saying
I’ve been in love and I’ve seen a lot of war
Seen a lot of people praying

They pray to Allah and they pray to the Lord
But mostly they pray about love and war
            Pray about love and war

I’ve seen a lot of young men go to war
And leave a lot of young brides waiting
I’ve watched them try to explain it to their kids
And seen a lot of them failing

They tried to tell them and they tried to explain
Why daddy won’t ever come home again.
Daddy won’t ever come home again

I said a lot of things that I can’t take back
But I don’t really know if I want to

            There’ve been songs about love
            I sang songs about war

            Since the backstreets of Toronto
I sang for justice and I hit a bad chord
But I still try to sing about love and war
            Sing about love and war

The saddest thing in the whole wide world
Is to break the heart of your lover
I made a mistake and I did it again
            And we struggled to recover

Then I sang in anger, hit another bad chord
But I still try to sing about love and war

I’ve been in love and I’ve seen a lot of war
Seen a lot of people praying
They pray to Allah and they pray to the Lord
But mostly they pray about love and war
            Pray about love and war

With a tested IQ like that, how did you end up so obliterated in your mental capacities otherwise?

Quite simply, that the privileged extent of your education and your supposed natural intelligence has left you with no inkling of the philosophical and physical impossibility of ever knowing the truth of anything, is all that needs to be said of the robustness of your cognitive abilities.

Aren’t you the one that is forever insisting that your personal faith in fairy tales constitutes some form of universal truth? That, my child, is pure dumb.

Your words speak of your intelligence, not the little gold stars on your chart.

You could really impress me with an original credible story, description, definition of the term, “intelligence”. Hint: I’m really impressed by stories that agree with my stories and so, your story would well be served by incorporating the notion that “innovation is error dependent” and also, that most of what we perceive as brilliance is not intelligence but rather is some perfection of performance of trained responses [like one might see in a border collie].

            I could be wrong.

But, never mind, Surely this way over your “intelligent” head. Carry on.

    • JohnAZ October 29, 2021 at 2:02 pm #

      Who made it?

      Depending on who is talking

Bats, wild meat, pigs, God, the CCP, Fauci, and so forth.

Why? Depends on who is talking

Climate change globalists trying to pare down the population, globalists trying to get power, Democrats trying to consolidate power for the Deep State, China, trying to bring down their population to a normal level while destroying other parts of the world to acquire the superpower status, virus scientists trying to enlarge our understanding of the little buggers, heck maybe Mars advocates trying to build pressure to move to Mars, and so forth.

How did it start? Again it depends on who is talking

The Chinese as a bio weapon let out a trial run in Wuhan to see what I would do. It was a failure as it is not lethal enough.

Three bat guano miners invaded a cave where bats with the crud infected them. Al three died. An investigator from THE Wuhan lab took in samples from these episode. It may have been weaponized? It either was purposely leaked or escaped with personnel contamination.

It got into Wuhan, and did a number on the area, well documented. Old containment techniques that did not work failed.

In the meantime, herein the US, once the news was received, Trump wanted to stop air traffic from China to keep it isolated.

There was Joe Biden, calling Trump every name in the book, putting the Stops on any action until hundreds of thousands of travellers got the crud into the US. These were the days when Iran and Italy were bombarded by Chinese carrying the crud, and then passed it around the world.

IMHO, China started it with negligence, the possibly malevolence. In the US, it was seen early on as a way for the Dems to unseat Trump. It worked! Now it is being used by the globalists and their puppets in the Deep State to socialize the world.

      • Paula D October 29, 2021 at 2:11 pm #

Iran and Italy were bombarded by Chinese tourists? Seriously, dude?
Like I say, I thought it was a bioweapon from the beginning, but ESPECIALLY when Iranian legislators started dying from it.
What is the epidemiology of that? How is it that a bat flu from China managed to wipe out the Iranian parliament a few months later?
        Come on, man!
We do know where the Italians got it. Some tourists went to Hawaii and brought it back from there. That went down the Memory Hole because it doesn’t fit in with “Wuhan lab leak”.
And China did contain it, within a couple of months. You’re batting (pun intended) 1000 here with misinformation.

        • JohnAZ October 29, 2021 at 3:26 pm #

Read it again, no mention of tourists.

            Just read your post, Mary.

I agree with you, this government is capable of anything.

One question though, what did they spray if a virus does not exist.

Is this an experiment that got out of control because of its virulence or transmissibility? Virulent in older folks that is.

          • Paula D October 29, 2021 at 4:53 pm #

You are putting out propaganda, not news.
” These were the days when Iran and Italy were bombarded by Chinese carrying the crud, and then passed it around the world.”
If not tourists, what were they? Invaders?

          • MaryMaryFullOfPride October 29, 2021 at 6:46 pm #

JAZ they can spray any kind of poison they want, and when people get sick from it, they call it a pandemic.

            Easy, peasy.

        • Night Owl October 29, 2021 at 3:57 pm #

Where is the evidence that it is a bioweapon? If it cannot be shown to the public that it even exists, then I don’t see how we can move beyond step one.

If we do so in theory, however, why were the stats spiked with people with 4-5 pre-existing conditions? And about those official stats: there was virtually no excess mortality, and flu disappeared in 2020. Most curious.

So again, where is the evidence? Not attacking, just stating the obvious.

          • MaryMaryFullOfPride October 29, 2021 at 4:25 pm #

            These are also my questions.

What Paula describes reminds me more of them spraying a pathogen in certain places to make it look like a pandemic.

Like they did in San Francisco in 1950. Only they did that for the opposite reason, they thought they’d ‘study’ the outcome, and were doing it on the downlow, not trying to exploit it.

          • JohnAZ October 29, 2021 at 4:31 pm #

I gave about four or five possibilities above. If this virus does not exist, then three million deaths did not occur. Those must be explained. Another thing that must be explained is why groups of people together “breed” the symptoms of this disease.

Latest personal anecdote I heard was a friend attending a ship reunion of around 60 guys in Colorado Springs. 27 had Covid upon return home.

Something that is communicable is infecting people with something that is beating their immune systems and making them sick. Call it what you may.

Not only that, something else is infecting people that already had the first disease or were vaxxed against it, what ever it is.

Hmm. If it looks like a duck, smells like a duck and quacks like a duck

            Maybe it is a virus.

How many, many times have they been trying.

  37. Nigel Tufnel October 29, 2021 at 1:13 pm #

    What’s the solution?

1- Take back the vote. Hand counted paper ballots.
2- Take back the media. Repeal Clinton’s 1996 Telecommunications Act which allowed for media monopolies. Re-instate the Fairness Doctrine, which required media to present all sides of an issue.

Beyond that, we could stop paying taxes, but Everyone would have to do it all at once. If your employer deducts taxes beforehand, figure out how to nullify that.

And beyond that, we need to revert back to a world made by hand. It’s hard to say no to the dopamine hits, and the comforts provided, but if we don’t do this willingly, it will happen anyway at some point.

    • JohnAZ October 29, 2021 at 2:06 pm #

      Great ideas!

Now how to convince the power brokers to remove the mechanisms that keep them in power.

I still do not understand how 99% of the media became so far Left.

      • Alzaebo October 29, 2021 at 6:42 pm #

Don’t worry, you don’t want or need to know, but corporate structure- Kapitalism 2.0- is the weapon and means of the old privateer corporations, the East India Companies.

Now, as to the current cavalcade of corporate Wokeness, Larry Fink of Blackrock offered a $7 trillion bailout to the US Treasury during the Mortgage Meltdown. Now, Blackrock is basically the 13th Federal Reserve District.

The social disruption discounts the underlying property that Blackrock/Vanguard can buy up America for pennies.

This is how to achieve a Rollerball world, where 7 Companies own everything. Those ruthless, brilliant devils, they’re going to make the Perfected World of their vision come true.
Can’t help but admire the sweep.

    • rainmaker October 29, 2021 at 3:47 pm #

You don’t want to stop paying taxes, Nigel, that’s a no-no for us peasants. However, you can stop putting yourself deeper in debt. Debt is the only thing keeping this abusive economy afloat now. Do nothing taxable, or as little as possible, buy just the minimum amount of stuff you need.

      • crudgemudgeon October 29, 2021 at 5:07 pm #

The stratosphere class economy and the real-world economy have bifurcated into Cloud and Dirt, virtual and daily, renminbi and yuan.

Sovereign debt and consumer debt are two Titanics passing in the night. Still, you ate correct, zero debt has been the attempt and struggle of this tiny equipment based business for 30 years.

Every small business has two words: “Free me”.
Lawsy, this can be such a trap.

“Beyond that, we could stop paying taxes, but Everyone would have to do it all at once.”

It would be a lot easier for states to decide retain the funds. Some would, some would not. It would be a start.

It could also be the beginning of a return to the pre-Fed days. The country did rather well without a central bank for most of the 19th century. Jefferson warned against the banks. So much for his statue in NYC, says a lot.

  38. MaryQueen October 29, 2021 at 1:14 pm #

    From the Mercola site:

    Who Owns the World?

“A handful of mega corporations — private investment companies — dominate every aspect of our lives; everything we eat, drink, wear or use in one way or another. These investment firms are so enormous, they control the money flow worldwide.

While there appear to be hundreds of competing brands on the market, like Russian nesting dolls, larger parent companies own multiple smaller brands. In reality, all packaged food brands, for example, are owned by a dozen or so larger parent companies.

These parent companies, in turn, are owned by shareholders, and the largest shareholders are the same in all of them: Vanguard and Blackrock.

No matter what industry you look at, the top shareholders, and therefore decision makers, are the same: Vanguard, Blackrock, State Street and/or Berkshire Hathaway. In virtually every major company, you find these names among the top 10 institutional investors.

These major investment firms are in turn owned by their own set of shareholders. One of the most amazing things about this scheme is that the institutional investors also own each other. They’re all shareholders in each other’s companies. At the very top are Vanguard and Blackrock. Blackrock’s largest shareholder is Vanguard, which does not disclose the identity of its shareholders due to its unique structure.”

Read the whole thing here, and if you like it, save it as a .pdf because all Mercola’s articles come down after 48 hours.

  39. So I was reading the NYT the other day and I noticed Nick Kristof resigned to run for Governor of Oregon.

I know I’m talking over ya’lls heads but, in a Strauss & Howe sense this could be the “grey leader” figure predicted. I’m thinking something of an Abe Lincoln, in respect to the “armchair civil war” that is going on.

His pedigree is so far beyond the specification for the generic political actor I’m comfortable making the prediction that he will be president, after a term as governor in OR, and he will lead the biggest coalition of American electorate since maybe- Roosevelt in WWII.

      And I 2nd and 3rd it !!!!!!!!

we will be lucky to get to spring.

      Just came back to me.

    • Okay, I’ll bite, what are talking about? A winter of discontent? Followed by civil war?

Give me a simple “X will happen in Y timeframe”.

      • WilbursHuman October 29, 2021 at 6:53 pm #

        Nope………….Nothing like that

just brief pictures, like 2 or 3 seconds in a silent film

the snow was melting along some highway, a highway that hadn’t been plowed in a long time

The hands and arms of the people beneath…………

        were just starting to show.

        Graphic enough for you ??

        Was for me

  41. mitchellc October 29, 2021 at 1:27 pm #

Well, I will be the first to admire the refreshing change in perspective as the discussion transitions into more abstract strategic analyses and away from personal anecdotal stories.

So, to keep the ball rolling, what are the odds on the numbers of people who will:

    – flee the country
    – leave blue zones and head to the greater south (TX + FL providing twin bulwharks)
    – stay put in blue zones, but concentrate in red holdouts

Just over the border, I was talking to a friend about this very issue. We are both in agreement that the best course of action would be to head home. (Its around about 2 hrs back/forth.) The locals are friendly, and I even speak the language, but I believe the wisest choice is to actually post up among fellow citizen friendlies, even if it is a free fire zone.

Iow, I would pick option #3 above.

        You know that, Liar.

That is hardly “no good reason.”

You can call me seeking Justice “rather nasty and unhinged piece of work” if you like … but please keep in mind, it was her fraggng me that unhinged me.

It was her attack on me that ended Peace. It is her refusal to Justify or retract her horrific, unfounded allegations of me that perpetuates War.

You need look at the Genesis of this War before you start deciding blame, Slugger.

Are the nasty and the unhinged not entitled to Free Speech? If so, do you see how that would only make us worse? Are you a sadist?

Would it be immature of you to defend yourself against such horrific, unfounded allegations?

You see, in this case, it is not Religion that is the problem per se. Rather, it is a measure of Freedom that all men be allowed to defend themselves and to see all evidence held against them.

He wants to go back – that means going back to letting boys fight again and not having some female teacher shrieking about being good. Going back means going back to Masculine Honor.

Mary wants to go back too – so men can protect women. Does she get that means letting boys fight and not having them guilt tripped by an almost 100% female teaching corps at the elementary level?

You can’t change one major thing without changing a lot of other things too. Men can’t/won’t defend feminine honor if they haven’t been allowed any of their own. It just doesn’t work that way.

          @ OG:

My faith and character have been unjustly maligned many times. I don’t really mind unless the perp’s allegations are likely to do me some harm in the real world.

Once one of my neighbors dropped by and told me that one of my other neighbors had pointed out my house and said, “That woman who lives there is a lesbian.” I replied, “I’ve had two marriages, six children and countless lovers. If I were gay, I would tell you.”

I don’t think there’s anything in the cornerstones of Western Law and Civilizaion about “stuff people say.” That falls under the heading of good manners. The normal punishment for bad manners is not being invited the next time you have a dinner party, not sharing your free shipping promo code with them, and not letting them join your country club.

@ Jarek: I think that was the way the ancients did it. At least that’s what the I Ching advises.

      • MaryMaryFullOfPride October 29, 2021 at 2:36 pm #

They both flipped out because I said that men are the ones who start wars, and women are the ones who give birth.

I’ve never seen anyone freak out over an obviously true statement before like these 2 dudes have over that.

        It’s hilarious to watch.

        • O.G. Hawkins October 29, 2021 at 2:52 pm #

That is not what you said, Liar.

You said that women create life.

We said, ‘No, men and women create life.’

You said women are life and men are Death.

Then you changed your tune and switched “create life” to “birth” and ridicule us for this obvious Truth and your completely changed premise.

You are corrupt. You have too much Pride for what we now face, Proud Mary. You are in for a World of hurt you Prideful, corrupt, lying sadist.

I do agree with mitchellc that it makes the most sense (to me) to stay where you are and fight the scourge when it comes your way.

The most important thing right now is having connections and community. And this covid hoax/techno-feudalism takeover is global, meaning, at some point, you will have to resist it no matter where you go.

  46. Kristof does 1 or 0.5 terms in office in Oregon, then, he runs for president.

    I’m doubling-tripling-quadrupling down here: Kristof >WILL BE< the 47th and/or 48th president of the USA.

He will lead the biggest landslide victory in American history.

He will take over 80% of the millennial/GenZ electoral cohort which will dominate over the next several decades.

I will double-triple -quadruple that 45 th and 47th president will be Donald Trump and he will rip apart your beloved Deep State and its banner The New York Times by 2028.

      So there.

My guess hold just as much credibility as yours.

      • MaryQueen October 29, 2021 at 2:29 pm #

True, it does have just as much credibility. Maybe more, as at least Trump has made it to the highest office before.

      • How does it hold as much credibility? John, I read your posts. You have a better grasp of things than most of these fools. You don’t know anything about Kristof, I assume. Why would you, he’s just bee a Pulitzer Prize winning author, writer, columnist, etc., for decades… Christian… literate… knoweldgable… patient…

Kristof is a paragon of respectability… he is capable of converting republicans- capable of leading the millennial/GenZ cohort- they will dominate national election cycles, there is no question about it.

Yes, Trump will mount a vigorous campaign, especially with his new media war chest The demographics are close, but I don’t think he has the numbers to win, as a practical matter. Provably, he doesn’t have the ability to lead. The can spoil- maybe.

The political polarization over the last several decades led to these administrations without broad mandates. I think Kristof can and will do this- have both conservative and liberal majorities.

Go ahead and shake your head… I am merely connecting dots here: the picture is forming. I believe in a natural physics that governs reality, and I am leaping chasms of reason to explicitly make claims about a future that no one can verify.

I did not have these thoughts until 3:00 pm yesterday, when I first saw the headline. It took all of 5 minutes to come to this conclusion. So take it for what it is.

I’m going all-in on Kristof, 2024, or 2028. Not as an advocate, but as a matter futurism: this will come to pass, or else gremlins have gotten into my brain and scrambled my antennae.

Feel free to go all-in against me. Any and all, I’m taking the bets- lets put rep on the line, I’m comfortable.

          • Jarek October 29, 2021 at 10:38 pm #

That’s what I just said. She claimed independence. I said that she is dependent – just like everyone else. She then admitted that she traded – thus not independent. I said “4” and she said 2+2. I know she’d die before saying “4” or explicitly admitting my point. But she did admit it in her own way.

Likewise she is not independent at the level of mind. Nor the spirit. Neither are you. Neither am I. Neither is anybody.

          • Karen October 29, 2021 at 11:22 pm #

Oh my god Jarek, you’re just catching on that people depend on other people!
At this rate, by next week you’ll figure out, all by yourself of course, that people aren’t free persons! Imagine that! Jarek going to deduce that everyone everywhere is a ward of some state!!!
Now, people depend on animals and insects too Jarek, but I don’t remember them telling me what pronouns are acceptable, what stance on LGQTBLMNOP is appropriate or what history I need to acquaint myself with
They too will remind me that I need them more than they need me, and I’ll remind them they don’t have the mind for it
            Great advice, furrshurr

          • Jarek October 30, 2021 at 1:01 am #

So in what sense is your original statement true, now that you really think about it? Your body? It’s a colony of cells, organs, and system – a Commonwealth for the greater good. If any of them get ideas of independence, the soldier cells will try to kill them before they cause a revolution. Such cells are called “cancer”.

Now on this plane of existence, the human realm, are you a good cell or the other? I hear you constantly trashing our Civilization, but of course there is such a thing as healthy criticism. Is that what you are about? Or simply tearing it down, an earlier version of the wokies. If you were twenty years younger, would you have abstained from the BLM/Antifa orgy of destruction?

Slug: You can’t tolerate everything. You can’t tolerate Marxism – because it won’t tolerate non-Marxism. Ditto Islam.

Now as Sartre said, Feminism isn’t a humanism (which might tolerate) but rather a Marxism (which does not). Thus?

    Thus it can’t be tolerated.

The above few lines are an entire semester’s worth of Liberal Arts, boile down for the practical man in a hurry or on the make. Don’t have time to study? We’ll do it for you…..

Voting? Sorry friend, no. Not until you have time to study the issues as Aristotle said in his “Politics”. I have little doubt you will be able to qualify then.

    • MaryMaryFullOfPride October 29, 2021 at 3:02 pm #

I’m a proud feminist. Feminism has a rich history, starting in earnest in the 18th century, France.

You don’t know anything about it. There are different factions or waves, many of which contradict each other.

Feminists are the first line of defense against the trans agenda scourge. Men aren’t doing that. Women are.

      You’re welcome.

154,000,000 IQ says, “Big ole Penis Envy”.

I must confess to a bit of an admiration for your ability to creatively combine words in the most ridiculous and irritating ways and your ability to consistently write [what strikes me as] nothing but nonsense.

      • Jarek October 29, 2021 at 5:13 pm #

So which school or wave are you?

But you admit the different ones sometimes contradict. Thus you don’t speak for all women.

        • MaryMaryFullOfPride October 29, 2021 at 5:50 pm #

I lean toward the radical feminists, although I don’t agree with everything. They are the ones standing up for kids against the trans scourge.

I don’t have much if anything in common with the pussy hat parade ‘3d wave’ corporate feminists.

And, I never said I speak for all women. Yet again, that’s you making shit up I never said, which you do with everyone, and which is tiresome and reveals arrested development.

          • Jarek October 29, 2021 at 6:03 pm #

Ok, not explicitly or in so many words. But you often berate “men” (which?) for not standing up for “women” (which?).

And of course: Women good, Men bad. Life/Death. Nothing subtle or nuanced about your overall philosophy.

          • MaryMaryFullOfPride October 29, 2021 at 6:20 pm #

Nope. Again, that’s your interpretation, and it’s wrong.

As I said, people who do what you do – believe they can read other peoples’ minds, know their intentions, and then twist their words accordingly – are usually trapped in arrested development.

Manipulating people is not a healthy way to go through life, Jarek.

            Also men start all wars.

Also men commit all the genocide.

Also women are the only ones who bring a life into the world, men can’t do that.

            @Jar and Mar

Oh, for crying out loud, you two, how parochial of you.

Of course in the final acts, men are responsible for most of the death and destruction and women are responsible for birth. That’s our job within the human species, it seems.

However, the complexities of the Universe and human relationships, if they could be parsed out, would surely reveal that we are all in this together, sharing responsibilities and authorities in infinity subtle ways for all that is good and evil.

Personally, I like women much better than men; they are much better looking, softer, less hairy, sweeter sounding, and better smelling to me.
