What “the Resistance” really fears more than anything is General Michael Flynn’s mouth. He’s been under a judicial gag order since his case went before Judge Emmet Sullivan’s federal district court. Understandably, Gen. Flynn wasn’t eager to complicate his unjust plight with a contempt citation. Judge Sullivan’s recent shenanigans have one object: to keep that gag order in force as long as possible. The moment Judge Sullivan confirms the DOJ’s move to dismiss the charges, as he is duty-bound to do, General Flynn will be free to offer his views to the public. That might be inconvenient in an election season.

I’m sure he has a lot to say. Gen. Flynn was head of the Defense Intelligence Agency for two years (2012 – 2014) under Barack Obama, and he knows a ton about every crooked operation Mr. Obama presided over, including the Benghazi fiasco, the Ukraine regime change op, and especially Mr. Obama’s hijacking of the NSA supercomputer surveillance database known as “the Hammer,” which was set up originally to track terrorists and then used by DNI James Clapper and CIA chief John Brennan to spy on Americans, most particularly Mr. Obama’s political adversaries. It’s rumored that Mr. Obama took the database with him when he left the White House, and it is said to contain great gouts of usefully damning information about just about everyone in government, including senators, congressmen, and Supreme Court justices.

Gen. Flynn became an antagonist to Obama & Co. when he objected to the nuclear deal they were cooking up with Iran and when he spoke out against the CIA’s 2013 Timber Sycamore op to arm and give money to Isis terrorists opposing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Mr. Obama canned Gen. Flynn in 2014. What really sealed Gen. Flynn’s fate was when he started publicly complaining about the politicization of John Brennan’s CIA. The New York Times quoted him saying, “They’ve lost sight of who they actually work for. They work for the American people. They don’t work for the president of the United States. Frankly, it’s become a very political organization.”

And a few months later, he jumped on Donald Trump’s campaign bandwagon. When he led the cheer “Lock her up” at the Republican convention, you can imagine how that gave the heebie-jeebies to a whole lot of other Deep State denizens besides She-Whose-Turn-Was-Foiled. And then, Lord have mercy, he was appointed to sit at Mr. Trump’s very elbow in the West Wing as National Security Advisor! Well, you can imagine the tremors that provoked. Gen. Flynn had declared his intention to completely reorganize, partially dismantle, and audit the intel community monster that had spread like a slime mold through the government. Mr. Brennan especially feared the audit part of the deal, since his agency regarded the billions of dollars that flowed in and out of it as just another one of its sacred secrets. Flynn had to be stopped.

So, John Brennan concocted the RussiaGate scam to put over the idea that General Flynn was an errand boy of Vladimir Putin —lock him up! — and for good measure, Mr. Trump probably was, too. Once they embarked on that grand misadventure, and enlisted the foolish James Comey and his FBI zealots to assist, the gang found themselves involved in a dangerous game of sedition, poorly thought out and executed desperately. And finally, by all that’s holy, the improbable Mr. Trump actually won the election, ensuring that he would be privy to every dark secret moldering in the vaults of the US government.

For three years, the whole wicked scheme has been slowly but steadily unspooling. The hapless (and perhaps senile) Robert Mueller was brought in to cap what threatened to become a political nuclear meltdown. We must suppose that Mr. Mueller was just a figurehead, and yet the supposedly brightest gang of Lawfare attorneys he enlisted — Weissmann, Van Grack, Rhee, Zebley, et. al. — absolutely blew it. They came up with zilch on Russian collusion, they muffed the attempt to nail Mr. Trump on an obstruction of justice rap (and watched helplessly as the inept Schiff & Nadler flopped fecklessly at impeachment), and now, having been exposed in the malicious prosecution of Gen. Flynn, they were forced to drop the case against him.

Finally, Judge Sullivan was recruited by The Resistance in a last-ditch effort to keep Gen. Flynn silent for a couple months more by ginning up an amicus circus that would invite a zillion bogus filings of briefs to be meticulously examined and argued, a pointless exercise in sound and fury. In doing so, he contradicted 25 of his own previous rulings against amicus filings by the defendant, and also moved in violation of a Supreme Court decision (Sineneng-Smith, 2020) and a DC Circuit case (Fokker Services 2016), as well as federal court rules against the use of amicus filings in criminal proceedings.

Now he has a few days to answer a mandamus motion from the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit to cut the shit and do his bound duty in the case. I won’t rehearse the separation-of-powers argument, except to say that Judge Sullivan doesn’t have a leg to stand on, and will be lucky if he is not reprimanded by the higher court. He’s been played by the Lawfare gang and exposed as a useful idiot. They’ve tossed aside his personal honor like a banana skin. Gawd knows what else prompted him to lawyer-up.

The colossal melodrama of a sedition conspiracy is unspooling swiftly now. Before much longer, US Attorney John Durham will weigh in with something, whether it’s a mere report detailing gross abuses of power, or perhaps a string of hard indictments against the seditionists. With bales of evidence of their misdeeds now in the public domain, the various players must be turning on each other viciously now. There’s probably not enough room under the proverbial bus to throw anybody else. They’ll need a train.

Also, comically, FBI Director Christopher Wray opened an “internal investigation” last week to ascertain whether any current members of his agency engaged in any misconduct around the Flynn case. That’s cute. It only took him three years. Of course, most of the major perps have already been fired, Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page. Why is Mr. Wray even still in that job, where his main occupation has been obstructing the release of court-ordered and congressionally subpoenaed documents?

You know what would be really a great move? Fire Chris Wray’s ass and replace him with outgoing Acting DNI Richard Grenell. Let Mr. Grenell just be Acting FBI Director for the statutory six months moving toward the election. Don’t even bother to nominate him and go through a senate confirmation. I bet a lot remaining information would get unstuck fast.

Oh, and get ready for Gen. Michael Flynn to speak. He might have a few interesting things to say. Not all of the news media will ignore him, and then those who do will have a lot to answer for about their long-running complicity in the criminal conspiracy to overthrow a president.

If the Flynn case was all a conspiracy to thwart any serious challenge to the surveillance community under Trump, it seems to have brilliantly been successful. We are now only a few months from Trump’s term ending, and the show is continuing; surveillance empire still firmly in control.
By the way, where is Trump’s appointment, Gina Haspel at the CIA, in all of this?

    • Walter B May 25, 2020 at 2:14 pm #

For those who deny conspiracy shotho my friend there is always deception:

      https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/craigsilverman/coronavirus-information-apocalypse?utm_source=pocket-newtab

Who wooda-thunk-it that as information became easier and easier to spread and share that truth would become harder and harder to find. For some of us out here it is apparent that The Master of Deception has ramped up his game and is apparently holding just about ALL of the cards. It is gonna get a lot darker before it gets any lighter.

      • Matt Holbert May 26, 2020 at 11:32 am #

Walter B- I was more disturbed by the buzzfeed article than I was by the Plandemic trailer. I start to get concerned when an author cites “specialist” after “specialist.”

    This is circulating,

The CDC just confirmed a .2% death rate for COVID-19. That’s TWO TENTHS of a percent, not two percent.
    For that, we have:
    * Added nearly 6 trillion to national debt
    * Laid-off or furloughed 50 million workers
    * 60 million on food stamps
    * Gone from 5% to 13% unemployment or 50% unemployment
    * Crippled the petroleum industry
    * Ruined the tourism industry
    * Bankrupted the service industry
    * Caused an impending meat and protein crisis
    * Threatened, fined, and arrested church leaders
    * Exacerbated mental health problems
    * Shut down schools and colleges
    * Given unbridled power to unelected officials
    * Increased suicides higher than COVID deaths
    * Delayed surgeries and treatments for profound illnesses
    * Infringed upon countless important civil liberties
    * Placed 350 million Americans on house arrest

And the people who bitch the most don’t even make $100K a year. You would think those left out of the party would scream the most but instead they enjoy their abuse. All the people in flyover-lands for the most part were left out of the globalization party.

Their economy was destroyed years ago in a slow decline which lasted decades and is ongoing. Now the people who destroyed their economy don’t like that their piece of action and pound of flesh is taken away and they will KILL to get it back. The people who get a percentage are the only ones complaining. Everybody else knows this thing could mutate and start taking people in the prime of their life. They want to stay alive.

But those rich enough to sequester while you build up the herd immunity for them. They want your ass back to work and are getting sneaky about making it happen.

      K-Dog For President

      There is a solution.

      • DrTomSchmidt May 25, 2020 at 10:48 am #

There’s bad news: now COVID has shown we can outsource the economy of the non-flyover lands.

        https://www.zerohedge.com/economics/post-covid-capitalism

I have now run a few companies. Over time, I have experienced a repeated epiphany; which is that you never realize which employees are useless until they go on a vacation and nothing bad happens. Now, this isn’t a dig at good employees; good ones find ways to delegate their responsibilities and still check their emails – great ones work harder while on vacation. However, the bad ones often vacation themselves out of a job – oddly, those are usually the ones who keep reminding me about how valuable they are. Ironic right?

        I bring this up because most employees just went on a 3-month forced vacation. As I speak with my friends, they’re all saying the same things;

-For 80% of employees, work from home went better than expected and my friends are now wondering why they need an office building and the associated expenses.

For 20% of employees, it has been chaos and it seems silly to retain office space just to micro-manage these weaker employees.

If they are going to run the business through Zoom meetings, why do they need expensive Americans when there’s some guy in Poland who will work harder for 10% of the price? …

Rewinding a few decades; America outsourced its blue-collar manufacturing workforce and hobbled the middle class. The white-collar guys have sort of ignored this as everything at Costco got cheaper. However, there were big consequences along the way. Now I wonder if we are about to outsource a lot of the white-collar jobs too. That would be crippling for the economy.

It’s coming, and soon. NYC is going to see an unbelievable collapse in property values, which is going to cause a budget crisis that makes the 1970s look like a picnic.

        • stelmosfire May 25, 2020 at 11:58 am #

Also Tom, I read that many of the tech company employees in Silicon Valley are going to be working from home from now on. Because of this they are not required to be in the area and will probably be planning to leave CA for lower cost living areas. I hope they don’t plan to keep getting SF wages at an Idaho cost of living. If I was their employer I would cut their pay if possible and pass the savings down the line. Like that is going to happen. They will surely ruin any area they move to.

        • hortonz May 25, 2020 at 12:06 pm #

They why is CIBC building two 50 storey towers in the heart of Toronto to act as its new head office.

          • DrTomSchmidt May 25, 2020 at 12:22 pm #

Why did they continue to build and then try to rent the Empire State Building in the teeth of the depression? It opened in 1933.

Things continue on their own momentum for a while. One reason we didn’t have work from home was the inability ofAmericanmanagers to not hover over people at work. It was projection: they expect that without constant supervision no one would work. Because they wouldn’t.

I VERY much want the dense urban economy to offer economic benefits above their costs. I suspect that the avaricious managerial elite (the most overpaid elite in history) will use the lessons of COVID lockdowns to unemploy the upper middle class the way they impoverished the lower middle class and the working class.

The good news is that Manhattan real estate will be on sale soon. The bad news is that there will be little reason to buy it, from an economic standpoint.

          • elysianfield May 25, 2020 at 6:58 pm #

“The good news is that Manhattan real estate will be on sale soon.”

            Dr. Tom,
Well, there goes the neighborhood. What manner of riff raff will now be able to afford to live next door?

        • Janos Skorenzy May 25, 2020 at 1:46 pm #

There goes office real estate. The owl and bittern will be heard in the street.

America for Americans, meaning people who work, live, and keep their money and business, here. All the rest to the back of the bus in terms of contracts.

          • bluedog May 26, 2020 at 10:55 am #

Well I guess its bye-bye for the top 5%,but wait that’s not going to happen anymore then the anti-China garbage that keeps flowing out of the oval office..

The business sector simply won’t permit it, and as business has along with their banking buddies have always controlled the government,so what to do perhaps bring back a little of part time low paying jobs then, they can say well look at I have done vote for me again.!!!

        • Exscotticus May 26, 2020 at 2:18 am #

Outsourcing white collar is nothing new. In fact it’s cyclical. Every so often a new MBA comes up with a brilliant plan to earn himself a huge bonus: send it overseas! He’s long gone before the unfavorable consequences are re-remembered by the institution (that will forget them again before the decade is out).

        • UN OUT OF USA May 27, 2020 at 9:34 pm #

DrTom, a lot of white collar jobs have been outsourced for decades now. When was the last time you spoke to a “help desk” person who was American? The vast majority are Indian or Mexican or Costa Rican….we have difficulty understanding them much of the time. Also, many, many tech jobs (white collar ones) have also been outsourced to less expensive, non-American workers (Indians, Chinese, Japanese, etc.). While working at HP many years ago, I project managed an entirely Chinese software team for a big project at Joanne Stores in Ohio. We had fired all of our American staff with the requisite technical skills and replaced them with “HP China” resources at 1/3 the cost. My point is that white collar jobs (by the millions) have already been outsourced quite extensively, hence the lobbying by US corporations to increase the number of annual H1B visas for foreign workers.

      • Janos Skorenzy May 25, 2020 at 12:35 pm #

I notice you don’t even dispute the statistics. It’s not very dangerous yet your Party has been vociferous in keeping American shut down. You know that Trump is going to win again barring massive fraud – the fraud you all planning to engineer via the online election.

The Rich? Don’t pull that shit – you people are the rich now. Or you work for them.

Sooner or later, everyone is going to be exposed. Even the Elite are part of the herd. You’re making a false distinction there.

        • shotho May 25, 2020 at 1:15 pm #

Nobody knows who is going to win the presidential election, nobody.

Especially when it involves letting condescending communist idiots like you destroy what’s left of this country because — holy shit! — someone from outside the Club of Rome currently resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Washington, DC.

        • K-Dog May 25, 2020 at 6:39 pm #

And you know I am a communist idiot how?

The day someone from the Club of Rome resides at the White House it will be as my guest.

You are in deep do-do. My big dog ears want to hear this.

What do you have against the Club of Rome.

Or do you just know that is a button you could push.

You god sum really good them-there propaganda going on there Uncle Bob. Franklin Roosevelt was the closest thing to the Club of Rome the White House Has ever seen. You are a downright funny uncle.

        • bluedog May 26, 2020 at 11:15 am #

Ah now we are back to that old commie shit that went out years ago, some simply were left behind in that by-gone era and never came up to the present.

I grew up during the cold war years and heard all I need about the commie shit, as they terrorized little children with get in under you desk children the Russians are coming,(they learned that trick from the Nazi’s) while they picked the pocket of the people, and watched thousands die as the MIC became richer and richer while American blood was running in Korea and Nam,both wars lost, thousands killed, thousands who commit suicide after returning who failed to erase what they had seen ,thousands wounded lives shattered for ever, an for what. You can have your line as no sane person would want it.!!

    • ladros May 25, 2020 at 12:19 pm #

CFR (Case Fatality Rates) can only be calculated after the epidemic has passed. @malthuss you never posted your CDC reference. Here is a hard data link: https://www.cebm.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/CFR_analysis2020-05-19part2.png

Please note the CFR for New Zealand 1.4%. That is the most accurate number we have because, for the most part, the epidemic appears to be over there.

      • Janos Skorenzy May 25, 2020 at 12:43 pm #

That seems to exclude mass testing of the public. Countless people have had it with little or no symptoms. They never became “cases” because they didn’t get sick enough to go in. It just isn’t that dangerous and therefore there must be other reasons for murdering the middle class.

        • Nightowl May 25, 2020 at 3:58 pm #

          The asymptomatic superspreader! Beware!

        • ladros May 25, 2020 at 10:12 pm #

@Janos, Can you post me a link to a paper or relevant study that supports your claim, that would be great!

Sweden thought the same thing, but a statically relevant survey shows that it was not the case:

          https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/may/21/just-7-per-cent-of-stockholm-had-covid-19-antibodies-by-end-of-april-study-sweden-coronavirus

Even the skeptics thought 20% infected but only 7.3% actually had the antigen.

        • Majella May 28, 2020 at 9:45 pm #

          “it just isn’t that dangerous”

Regardless of however many asymptomatic infected there are or have been, and regardless of whether they infect more susceptible people, the fact remains that, to date, the US sees an average of 20,000+ new infections daily; 1,500 death per day, 103,330 to date, a backload of cases amounting to 1.16 million and a miserable ‘recovered’ count of less than 500,000.

If this is the ‘steady-state’, then the 200,000 deaths will be reached in 80 days, or about the end of August. Enjoy your summer.

What’s the possibility of a second wave? Who knows, but with all the nutjobs & CT spinners (which includes most GOP Governors and, of course, President Pee Tapes) telling everyone “it’s okay to just forget about it”, cannot help in containing it.

    • Raindogs May 26, 2020 at 7:00 am #

I agree that the overreaction is clearly evident now.

What would you have done with a novel virus that was looking devastating in hot spots in those early stages?

There was no perfect response but surely to err on the side of non-action would have shown a disregard for human life that we haven’t thankfully reached yet in this country.

    • Sean Coleman May 27, 2020 at 11:25 am #

Statistics are abstract things and in the case of epidemics (or “pandemics” if you really must) even more so. However, on the assumption that 0.2% is a fairly serious flu I suspect that the present virus (in so far as it even exists as a new, separate thing) will be closer to 0.1%. I think it may be too early yet to tell.

  3. K-Dog May 25, 2020 at 10:28 am #

A slime mold. Otherwise known as the defense budget. Which if spent on defense would be fine but everybody knows America has enough defense to smoke the planet ten times over.

The F.B.I. was created in 1917, and we sure did get some treats in those years didn’t we. Spanish flu, the Federal Reserve and the F.B.I.. Who’s purpose is and was is to suppress dissent. Johnny G-Man the nemesis of bank robbers came later and that role was built as the F.B.I.’s image when in fact they were established as dogcatcher of socialist dogs.

The F.B.I. destroyed socialism in the U.S.. Mission accomplished! In the 70’s they did their COINTELPRO thing and have a well funded equivalent operation going on right now. It is much bigger.

The F.B.I. exists to protect the empire. Catching baddies who cross state lines is a sideline that makes them look good.

As far as anyone having a lot to say if it isn’t talking dirt about China Russia or the Resistance it can be said true. But it won’t be repeated and it might even get deleted.

    • K-Dog May 25, 2020 at 10:30 am #

    So true K-Dog
The economic was on the ropes before Covid-19 it was just a convenient fall guy for the powers that be. Dmitry Orlov nails it on his site. It was a brilliant move by the 1%.

    • K-Dog May 25, 2020 at 10:44 am #

Orlov throws enough mud at the wall something always sticks. As to the 1% being brilliant I think it is as easy for them to do as taking a shit.

    Great metaphor. Great blog.

I am amazed when I recall that, prior to about June 2016, I watched CNN. Now my news station is Fox; I record Tucker and Hannity. Their pronouncements have the ring of truth. As does CFN.

    • benr May 25, 2020 at 10:51 am #

To some degree Fox has been right all along both politically and news wise which stood diametrically opposed to what the rest of the mcnoos media brought to the table.
They have how ever been slowly sliding left for the last several years.
My wife has it on in the back ground a lot and I find most of it to be painfully tabloidized as of late.

    • michics May 25, 2020 at 11:07 am #

Oh yes, now you will get highly educated. Fox is a mouth piece for the right just as much as the others are for the left. If you believe any of it you have accepted the cool-aid. I appear to be one of the few left leaning people that have been reading Jim’s blog since the beginning when he was on the left. He has now turned into a apparent Fox addict since he has been doing a lot of bloviating himself the last couple years without any facts. There now this should set your hair on fire!!

      • DrTomSchmidt May 25, 2020 at 11:13 am #

Tucker isn’t an obvious Republican Party shill like some of the others. Notable was his almost advocacy of Bernie against the corporatists. He backs Trump against the Deep State, sure: but he is consistent with complaining about the fact that the elites in this country hate most of the populace.

You seem to think this is true of the Republican elite, with their unneeded 2017 tax cut. Now it’s time to accept the same about the Democratic elite.

        • SoftStarLight May 25, 2020 at 12:16 pm #

I agree. From what I see Tucker is much more speaking on principle and not necessarily party. In some ways he is very conservative and then also quite liberal on other things. He should consider political office at some point. He has more of a chance of being a genuine civil servant than most anyone in office today in my opinion.

        • Janos Skorenzy May 25, 2020 at 12:51 pm #

A Nation must partake of both the left and right. It must have two hands. These old, cracked glasses and stilted metrics cannot understand what a real Nation is and needs. Tucker gets it but he can’t say it. He’d be put off the air if he did.

Both parties are Globalist, neither of them gives a fig for the historical America and its people. To the extent there is real conflict, it’s because they represent different factions of the elite. Trump is backing Glaxoklinesmith for example. Fauci would want another big Pharma cabal to have access to our bodies. But they both want the same thing.

          • SoftStarLight May 25, 2020 at 3:06 pm #

Oh is that the company that is attempting to make the vaccine? I can’t believe he would ever really support forced vaccinations. But he has proven to be shifty so now I just feel anything is possible and its not reassuring.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 25, 2020 at 6:23 pm #

There’s a bunch of them. The competition for our bodies (and later our souls) is very fierce. Real Capitalism! Fauci and Gates have their own projects going and others as well. I think Glaxo is the one Akmo said is big in Israel so it would fit with his general alliances and of course, with the Kushners.

Wait, I’ll go ask Akmo down below.

          • K-Dog May 25, 2020 at 7:00 pm #

There is one good thing Trump is doing for America in this crisis.

Trump still walks. This proves a person can be exposed to multiple experimental vaccines and still be just fine. His orange glow of health could be yours too. If you had the connections.

          • SoftStarLight May 26, 2020 at 12:44 am #

It’s interesting because it seems like they are concerned that the virus may disappear before they can develop a vaccine. As if they prefer the virus to remain a problem until they can create a solution. But in the meanwhile maybe it will be similar to the first SARS and just vanish.

          • K-Dog May 26, 2020 at 12:54 am #

Leftists only recognize two ideologies. Woke identitarianism is theirs. Everyone else in their eyes is a nazi. Ironic since nazism is a form of identity politics, thus, the flip side of the same coin as woke progressivism. Most people don’t adhere to either of these psychopathic ideologies, but adherents of these two ideologies live in a parallel world in which most people do not exist.

      • lbs May 28, 2020 at 11:26 am #

Kunstler has remained faithful to liberal values while the left is now reactionary authoritarian. That’s why he’s not in sync with the left.

    • DrTomSchmidt May 25, 2020 at 11:08 am #

I still can’t take Hannity, but Tucker is now a nightly watch. He does something I see few pundits do: admits error, and even apologizes for his part in pumping up the scare. He has turned my wife into an anti-Democratic voter.

Of course, it didn’t help hat in 2016 Trump bragged about what women would let you do if you were famous. Then the Democrats nominate someone credibly accused of doing exactly that.

      • Nightowl May 25, 2020 at 11:36 am #

I said this well over a year ago, but Tucker has done a complete 180. He openly admitted he was a fool during the Shrub years, was taken in by the ruse that America was attacked and that we needed to root out those no good terr’sts.

He has been spot on every step of the way where SpyGate, The RussiaHoax, UkraineGate, and The Coup goes. And, he brings on marginalized voices from the left (true classical liberals and indies) on regularly. He is also an excellent debater and focuses on details others gloss over.

He is on Fox purely because it is profitable for Fox to play the whole field. I still largely despise Fox as a network, but I have to admit, they are now the most balanced MSM outlet — for whatever it is worth.

      • sophia May 25, 2020 at 6:41 pm #

We heard about it in 2016, but my understanding is he said it many years ago, and privately. And, you know, it is quite true. If you’re a famous rock band, for example, women will pull off their underpants and throw them up on the stage. But woe betide the man who voices that reality.

That a narcissistic, lackadaisical, thin-skinned man like the GGG might be the sword the Lord chooses is one of those things that religious people claim all the time. If Hillary had been elected, all this would have been swept under the rug, and the Deep State would have learned how to do it better for the next time.

Well, there’s sensing, and then there’s knowing. It’s obvious now that the 800bln we spend on “defense” plus the about $100bln on intelligence is wasted. That wasn’t always obvious to me.

We need to pay for trillions in COVID bailouts. I know where I would get the money.

        • SpeedyBB May 30, 2020 at 7:13 am #

          Dr. Tom,

The eight hundred billion clams will count for nothing when disclosure of alien incursions is finally forced out of them.

“Hey thanks for the big budget – and all the black money – but we have to ‘fess up: we can’t do anything about the coming and going of those pesky things from somewhere else. We can’t explain the abductions or stop the mutilations. You’ll understand if we continue to ignore, belittle or ridicule the possibility.

“Or maybe if you give us another couple of trillion we can set up a ‘special project’ to defend against the universe.”

Pretty pathetic situation. Even if you think alien incursions are a hoax I suggest you look at the 2010 National Press Club “Disclosure” conference video. It’s on YouTube.

Half a dozen elderly, retired Air Force officers responsible for security around ICBMs or nuclear weapons bunkers come clean with events they couldn’t reveal when they were in uniform. (Fort Leavenworth was threatened.)

Why do I bring this up now? Simply to add another reason why the so-called “defense budget” (not to mention a “Space Force”) is a very expensive swindle.

    • DrTomSchmidt May 25, 2020 at 12:35 pm #

Sure you’re religious, JHK. You believe things that you cannot offer concrete proof for. We all do; that’s the nature of having a brain whose System 1 has a lot more processing power than its “rational” system 2. That you don’t adhere to a major belief system doesn’t undermine this point.

I’ve not read you imply that Trump is the “God-emperor,” and I doubt you’d believe it. I have heard “conventional” religious people make The claim. If the Lord does indeed work in mysterious ways, we have a near-Trinity level mystery on this one.

Dr TS, that phrase caught my eye too. It reminded me of a quote I used as a history undergraduate. Who is Hopkins, and, in the name of all that is good and holy,, who is Tugwell, and where did he blow from?”

The ancient dictum, “He is Chinese who wears the Chinese robe” can only be stretched so far. Some groups won’t put on the robe, some try but can’t make it fit, and for others, it isn’t offered. The Han didn’t want the Hmong either.

Two totalitarian creeds in collision: the CP-PRC and Islam. Neither will give a millimeter. Both are convinced of their righteousness and each fervently believes they will eventually triumph.

The difference in this case is in numbers and firepower. Guess who comes out on top of that one.

So it’s nothing to do with racism.

It is also interesting to see how China’s new bosom buddies Iran and Saudi Arabia conveniently ignore the ruthless persecution of their Islamic brothers in Sinkiang. True Taqqiya in action.

I am a regular reader, but today’s entry is really, entirely speculation about what is supposedly occuring behind the scene. Mr. Kunstler imagines that Gen. Flynn was the man who knew too much about dark secrets, who “they” had to silence so judges were enlisted, but the general is about to be vindicated at last and will tell all! Well, maybe, and I would cheer for it if it is the case, but frankly, I am tired of the cacophony of media being all about conflicting conspiracy theories. I’d prefer if analysts were sticking to commenting actual events instead of writing the political thriller they have in their heads.

No because it being true unbalances a very fragile state of being.
It being true means a sitting President used the power of government to go after a political rival something that has been done many times before and ignored or not reported.
In essence Obama should be in court defending what amounts to treason and all those who helped him and covered it up the same.
It would shred what little faith the American people have in their government.
There is already a low level style of war going on between Democrats/Republican big government stooges and we the people who are tired of business as usual.
You can clearly see it on this blog message board.
This country is all but ungovernable as it is now if this ever gains more traction and days in court where the truth comes all the way out it ill get really ugly.

Which is why when Democrat lefties called for GWBush to be tried for war crimes Barry ignored them. Trump knows this is just how iot is so he squeaks out stuff but never intends to pursue them.
Even if he did intend the power structure won’t let him.

If the situation really gets into a late-Roman Empire death spiral it will be interesting to see whether “Young Turks”* from the Pentagon decided to do something to save the Republic.

From all reports the current crop is composed of careerists and drones – not the type to disturb the status quo, even when it is in a death stall. Tare Reade is a very complicated person, another Ballsy Ford, complete with Deep State connections. Apparently some in the Democratic fold don’t agree with this bizarre running of a dummy and are trying to take him out of the race.

Who is anybody kidding? This sort of sedition, coups, corruption, etc. has been going on for decades and decades. The American people are clueless about so many of the activities that have gone on, and still go on, in their government. When did the corruption begin? Probably the day after the American government was founded. It’s been going on for the past 240+ years. Immorality, ignorance and false information have always been the common denominators of our problems.

    • SoftStarLight May 25, 2020 at 2:45 pm #

Because at the root of it is human nature. A fallen nature easily susceptible to vice. Thus a serious society prioritizes the governing of that nature. That becomes mostly impossible in a society that doesn’t believe that there is truth or reality. And what has our society become?

Imagine worshiping solar panels like the Greens do. No doubt there a Church of the Solar Panel someplace. Not even the Sun, but the Solar Panel.

        • BackRowHeckler May 25, 2020 at 4:35 pm #

That’s one of the conclusions of ‘Planet of the Humans: solar panels and windmills have become religious icons by those who have given up the idea of God.

        • SoftStarLight May 26, 2020 at 12:58 am #

It’s a very strange idol. It would seem more logical if the solar panel was maybe considered like a sacred symbol of appeasement to the nature gods or something. But an object of worship itself? I don’t get it.

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/may/22/lets-stop-clapping-for-the-nhs-says-woman-who-started-the-ritual

More and more men are refusing to clap, aware of the Hoax. Only women and feminized men keep on with this retarded affront to human dignity. Personally, I loathe nurses as a group now because of this manufactured worship. Of course no doubt there are those who watch and record who claps and who doesn’t, how hard, and how long. People feared to be the first ones to stop clapping for Stalin since people in the balcony were watching for this.

Yes that’s true, clapping went on for hours, until audience members dropped from exhaustion.

More than any other group its shills on network and local news whipping up hysteria by hyping the dangers posed by Covid 19. The goal appears to be keeping it going as long as possible.

Stop making up drivel. The woman who started it up said last week it was time to stop because the thing has peaked.

But don’t let facts stop you.

I’ve never clapped myself as I consider the appropriate action to be giving people proper PPE, not clapping them as if they were some kind of fairy godmother and not a professional who needs proper kit to do their job.

      • Janos Skorenzy May 25, 2020 at 1:55 pm #

You revealed that you have trouble giving people money on the street – even though apparently you desire to do so. Can you not see how your self obsession is crippling you?

This is the Victorian “Cult of Respectability” that Dickens wrote so much about. You must devour his works as a possible way out of this morass.

        • Majella May 25, 2020 at 4:40 pm #

I think your understanding of Dickens’ idea of “respectability” is actually arse-about-face.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 25, 2020 at 6:38 pm #

His character Mrs Jellby was a monster, one based on a real Lady whose circle knitted wool sweaters for Black Africans (which they did not need) while her own tenants froze and starved on her Scottish estate.

The essence of such “respectability” is hypocrisy, Jel Gal. Alba seems better than this. But she is too self conscious, too worried about what others think.

Of course giving secretly is enjoined in Christianity as a spiritual discipline. Much of human behavior is predicated about it being seen – thus “virtue display”. Maybe she is trying to avoid this without expressing it quite that way. I’m just saying if somebody asks her for money and the street and she wants to give, she should be psychologically free to do so.

          • K-Dog May 25, 2020 at 6:51 pm #

I remember Ozone quoting that virtue must be its own reward.

“The heroic soul does not sell its justice and its nobleness. It does not ask to dine nicely and to sleep warm. The essence of greatness is the perception that virtue is enough.”

But that was not from Ozone.

            virtus ipsa pretium sui

          • GreenAlba May 26, 2020 at 9:01 am #

“I’m just saying if somebody asks her for money and the street and she wants to give, she should be psychologically free to do so.”

Thank you so much for your permission. She occasionally does, depending on the moment. And if it’s Christmas and the Salvation Army band, for example, collecting for the homeless, everyone’s doing it so it’s fine. Same for most ‘chuggers’ – the bigger the crowd, the less the embarrassment!

But for the terminally tortured there are dilemmas. If I give money to this person who I pretty much know is going to buy booze or drugs with it, am I helping them? If I give to this woman who looks as if she’s from Romania, am I funding a gang? I have been paying monthly for years to Centrepoint, in London, which provides a safe place and encouragement with education to young homeless people – that I know can only do good, so it’s a safer choice. Like ‘Shelter’.

Recently I mentioned a neighbour – don’t know where she actually lives but I see her around and chat with her – we know each other by name and she loves the dog. Her husband is off work long term with an accident. Tough things have happened to her in her life. They rent – don’t own their own place. She’s over retirement age, although he’s only in his 50s. Now she can’t do the freelance cleaning she was doing for a few clients in the old folks’ flats around the corner as she’s not allowed in because of Covid. I’d love to help out, but there’s a 99.9% chance she’d refuse and a 99.9% chance she’d also be offended and would be embarrassed for ever afterwards. Giving which could feel natural is not necessarily unproblematic. I’ve been in a similar position to her and I’d have said no and been embarrassed too. Not offended, but definitely embarrassed.

It is of course possible to over-think things, just as it is possible not to think them through adequately. The Goldilocks spot is not always easy to locate.

        • GreenAlba May 25, 2020 at 5:42 pm #

What you said makes no sense, Janos. If I were worried about respectability I’d be putting money in every beggar’s cap and clapping with the best of them. I prefer my gifts to be discreet – I don’t want an audience. And I show my respect to our health staff by not wasting their time with stupid, self-limiting complaints, which is much more valuable than banging pots and pans.

The clapping thing I just find a bit naff. Once would have been fine as a gesture. But each to their own.

What I was referring to as your usual nonsense is the idea of a Stalinian obligation. That’s utter tripe. One set of neighbours, who happen to be very nice, are a storey above me and on the other side of the road. They can see into my livingroom if they choose to, so they know I’m in (although I usually scarper if I’ve been caught out by the clapping in case people think I’m being churlish). People do what they feel like doing; they clap or they don’t. Nobody”s making a thing of of it, other than in your fevered imagination. You always need to make things into something they’re not.

And I can assure you that anyone going to school when I did was fed a very intense diet of Dickens.

Did you know he described a whole lot of medical conditions that didn’t even have names at that time? Victorian respectability wasn’t the only focus of his forensic observation.

I’ve used to give cash to the people begging but no longer do. A patient I had years ago was a double amputee and Ricky told me himself that when he was low on cash he’d wheel out to an intersection, hold up a cardboard sign that said Disabled Vet God Bless and rake in $400/day. He had never been in the service and had lost his legs (and also had a colostomy) due to gunshot wounds from a drug fight. He had an apartment with his GF and government subsidies but needed the extra cash for drugs for himself and her.

Haters are vile, evil little people that can only tear down and absolutely never build anything. It is quite telling that you as a lifetime liberal, a democrat, and if I remember correctly, a two time Obama supporter, can alter your opinion when the facts are revealed, rather than alter the facts to support your opinion. Only idiots are always right, at least in their own tiny minds, it takes an intelligent, decent human being to admit when they erred. You were not suppose to argue. An idiot who says that only an idiot thinks he is alway right never fails to convince the smart that they are also smart even if that bbe contrary to all facts. And idiots themselves, they only listen to the shape of the words. Not the meanings of words.

Well, said, Walter. Anyone who has followed Jim for a long period of time will know that he calls a spade a spade, even when it might not be socially or politically expedient to do so. He’s remarked strongly and often about his distaste for DJT and has been quite prescient in these declarations. However, he now sees that the left in general and the democrat party in particular has crossed the rubicon into bat sh!t crazy, and is not afraid of making that known as well. Ultimately, the TDS-infected faction (in society and in these comments) are a hopeless cause and will never be satisfied or see reason.

I just really look forward to watching heads explode for a second time whenTrump wins again on Nov 3 🙂

To sleep perchance to dream. Only to awaken in the night with strange phantasms and vague shapes twisting slowly on the blank night wall. That one there – collusion. That one over there – resistance, it gives the feeling of an acid flashback. A taste of pepper, but it is instead the threads of justified anger stoked by institutionalized inequality which the empire must suppress. We live on islands surrounded by vast seas of complexity only the edges of which we can pretend to navigate. Such is our lot.

  25. ricksinger May 25, 2020 at 4:17 pm #

Flynn-Obamagate is a side-show There are many solid reasons why Trump will win a second term:

We don’t know whether Trump’s media manipulation techniques are consciously planned or just intuitive, But the pattern of simply making one statement today, contradicting it tomorrow, coming out with something else the next day is really brilliant. It means he’s going to be vindicated.

Whatever happens, he’ll have said it. You shoot arrows at random, some of them are going to hit the target.

And his technique with the Fox echo chamber and the worshipful base simply tuned to Fox, Limbaugh, etc., they’re just going to pick whatever happened to be right, and say, “Look, our wonderful president, the greatest president we’ve ever had, our savior, knew it all along, and here was his statement.”

    Can’t miss.

It’s very much like the technique of producing constant lies. The assiduous fact-checkers tote them up. I think it’s maybe 20,000 by now or something. And he’s laughing all the way. T

his is perfect. You tell constant lies, what happens is the concept of truth just disappears.

I meant to add this re Covid.
In addition to the ‘usual suspects of cardiac, hypertension, diabetes and obesity ( which opens the door to the aforementioned three), there is a link with Vitamin D.
Those who get very sick and those who die have been found to have low serum levels of Vitamin D. Link at the bottom.
Certain ethnic groups routinely have lower levels for lots of reasons as you read for yourself. Skin colour, where you live, etc. UK & USA both keep records on this, but not my country. I was able to figure it out on my own. Check out the statistics for Montreal North, for example which is a basket case of Covid. It has certain demographics.
If we could just cut the bullshit and open discussions about these things we could save a lot of time, lives, and open the economy back up sooner before we drive off a cliff.

        • Janos Skorenzy May 26, 2020 at 1:05 am #

Whites suffer terribly from the Sun even in the North sometimes. And in the tropics, forget it. The Humidity too. Blacks have the advantage on both counts. So it is only natural that there must be some advantage to this mutation of ours, right?

The suffering only becomes less in the far northern United States, in the cloudier climates and seasons. Northern Europe and Canada are better still.

The Dakota, Montana, Alberta Sun and Summer Temperatures in the 90s and 100’s are very difficult for us too – despite the good latitude.

It’s only in the Clouds, Mists, and Deep Forests of the North do we come into our own. There the Ice Bears and Cave Bears wait. The Black Man fears the Northern Forests and for good reason.

And the typically dark Muslims of Pakistan do poorly in cloudy, far North (on a line with Labrador) Britain.

The Old French Colonial Nation/Empire knew a bit about these things. Having a diverse European population, they would send a relatively dark, Mediterranean type to the tropics instead of a Nordic, all other things being equal. He would fare better, being more adaptable to these climes.

Written like a PR directive from Vlady’s mobligarch backers. Flynn lied and then confessed to it and his uncharged crimes have yet to be brought forth, regardless of what happens with Judge Sullivan. Flynn the situational moralist had no trouble sitting at Vlady’s table and being paid to kidnap a Turkish dissident.
If there is grievance to be had it should be directed to Flynn’s mobligarchs with political fronts, only to happy to compensate him for his insider knowledge – if he’s a true patriot, let’s see him sing about his financial backers, and while he’s at it, his son’s activities as well.

“Also, comically, FBI Director Christopher Wray opened an “internal investigation” last week to ascertain whether any current members of his agency engaged in any misconduct around the Flynn case. That’s cute. It only took him three years.”

We are in this bizarre time where the election of DJT & his uniquely & uncontrolled, right wing populist, and anti-war brand– has totally unhinged the Security & Deep State to the point where we are actually seeing how the Machine operates to subvert American democracy. One of the astonishing things in all this is the level of participation of the legacy media in these seditious attempts to ouster a legitimately elected President. CNN & MSNBC, specifically are the Voice of the permanent bureaucracy & Deep State. This has become clear. Simply tune in to them to understand what people like John Brennan or John Bolton believe.

The CIA routinely uses the same types of tactics in foreign countries; the use of assets & proxies in media outlets, and front organizations to fund political movements against politicians or governments the CIA deems against their interests. The only thing missing is a proxy militia or armed anti-Trump insurgency. Will that be next?

I think Russia-gate has also exposed how little powerful elements within the FBI & CIA & “12 intel agencies”, i.e. the Deep State, serve the interests of the American Public. I capitalize the P to distinguish it as the macro interest of the People in a grand sense. I do not believe there is any majority support amongst the People for ongoing neo-imperial wars, an East German style surveillance state, or Cold War 2.0 with Russia. These aims certainly were and are strongly proposed by the Deep State. Any President who does not go along with these aims clearly must go– regardless of political ideology.

November could go either way. It’s going to be chaotic, though. Seriously, Biden is more than “gaffe prone” as the NYT and others describe him. He has in serious mental decline. There will not be anyway to hide this by October or November. He will be a disaster in the debates and all Trump will have to do is smirk and point his hand at Biden and look at the audience and say “Well, there you go, folks”. It will be pathetic and cruel, but that’s all Trump will have to do.

Speaking of Sanders, where do Bernie Bros stand now that their candidate has been taken out? Are they down with Biden, or are they ready to cut Biden off at the knees? Bernie Bros were known as a pretty nasty bunch, which I think hurt Sanders in the primary, especially the way they treated Elizabeth Warren. (Plus the fact Sanders was not a Democrat, and black voters identify closely with the Democratic Party.)

You can’t spend 3 decades promoting identity politics based upon race, religion, sexual deviation and so on, then suddenly try to unite everybody into one big working class proletariat, which is what Sanders tried to do. It didn’t work.

Oh, really? Nasty – how? There’s plenty of RWHJ twitter Trolls out there. If we called them all ‘Trump Trolls’ could we also claim they all believe the EXACT same things (same CTs etc)?

As to Warren, she was a major player in the political knee-capping of Bernie. Now two ways about it. See ya later. The Covid-19 clusterfuck also disturbed the primary process, so we’ll never know for sure how that might have panned out if it had run the full course.

Also, I hold some skepticism about your accusation that Bernie spent “3 decades promoting identity politics”. He’s been consistent – amazingly consistent – in what he believes and promotes. You won’t find anyone in politics so consistent over 30 years.

          Task forces…

those are the words ole Bernie told Biden there while Bernie was endorsing him for the nomination. “Task forces” to look into problems.. Sanders ran on outlining all types of economic problems in particular, and in the end.. he recommends.. task forces..

Reference Jimmy Dore’s great show on youtube for a great critique on Bernie Sanders..

Bernie has been in a unique position to stand up for all of his supposed beliefs in the last couple of months (and tons of opportunity, particularly in regards to the passage of the CARES Act on the floor of the US Senate)…. and he hasn’t done a damn thing. He’s a fraud.

I’m into this sort of thing because I sniff down the Google Earth rabbit hole all the time. There is a whole world out there.

I figured the cruse through the drab red brick apartments could not be hard to find so I looked over Birmingham at about 2000 feet up. Thought I found it for sure and there were two possibilities. But on going to ground level the projects did not match.

It is too flat in Birmingham for the hills to be that close and large. This is another American city.

        Not Birmingham.

Chances of missing it were pretty slim. The two possibles were the right sze.

I was born in Birmingham and go there frequently. It looks like B’ham though it’s not one of my usual haunts. Interestingly, the airport is close to this neighborhood and tricky to land at due to the hills. In the 50’s, when Birmingham was larger than Atlanta, the airlines expanded in Atlanta not only because of the civil rights issues but because of the hills….. My grandparents built their house in 1922 on a little hill in N Birmingham that ended up being close to the end of the runway. As a kid sleeping over in the 50’s the DC-3s would roar overhead uncomfortably close.

I’ve been watching “Planet of Humans” very slowly, a few minutes at a time, shocked at the level of betrayal. I’m mediating on my own internal reactions just as much as the objective material. At the fifty minute mark: a Green Holocaust in the greenest state, Vermont, where Trees are victimized in a “biomass” plant that somehow offers “carbon free emissions”, the huge smoking smokestack not withstanding. Just Fairy Dust, the outraged hippy exclaims. Just another one of Moore’s, Good Men.

By watching it so slowly I’m carefully stoking my own rage as well. Jerry Pournelle agrees with the hippy: Delusion was always the mainspring of this. Wishful thinking and an inability to handle math – at all! Quantity has become Quality (Hegel) – a negative one in this case. It’s just not there folks. Jerry always said the Way to a Green Earth was high tech (nuclear) and ultimately getting our industrial base off the all or almost all entirely.

A Yahoo article said the movie had been taken off Youtube. But luckily that proved not to be true. Perhaps the outcry had been so loud that even they had to back down on this within the same day. I mean to use an overused phrase: Isn’t this a conversation we should be having?

Kdog wrong. Hippy wrong. Jim wrong. Look up not down. Jerry and Janos have the answer: Coal right now, then nuclear, then fusion and/or high tech stuff in orbit. Close the borders. Fortress America and hopefully Europe as we build for the future while the rest of the world flounders and/or dies. Or maybe they can use coal and/or nuclear too. China might save itself, using Africa for resources and lebensraum.

    • K-Dog May 25, 2020 at 11:51 pm #

You have been watching the movie forgetting I have been promoting it on my website. You can see it there and I even have my own bonus material.

Perhaps someday you too will be a Basian Janos. But until then you’d be well served not to say everyone else is wrong. You don’t have the tools to tell the difference.

      >A man can fail many times but he isn’t a failure until he begins to blame someone else.

Banter aside, the Green Revolution is a crock. No way can this culture maintain the lifestyle it wants to have. Mother nature will take everyones ‘freedoms’ away because peole did not clean their room when mother said to clean our room.

            it is Baysian, my bad.

A couple has two children, the older of which is a boy, what are the odds the other child is a boy (A: 50 % oe 1/2).

A couple has two children, one of which is a boy, what are the odds the other child is a boy (A: 33 % or 1/3).

The equation on the T-shirt can be used to solve these sorts of problems but beyond the dry mechanics of math, Bayes theorem, named for the Reverend Thomas Bayes reveals common biases which allows us to reach erronious conclusions. That is theimportant point. We often exclude evidence when we should not. When I found out some of our stinkin thinkin can be overcome by math I got very excited. It is a start.

Bayes theorem helps you evaluate evidence. If you play with the equation enough you can ‘see’ how it works. Brief lashes of deep insight. That makes you a Baysian. In the world or eureka moments it is low hanging fruit and a cheap but satisfying thrill.

From Reddit thread. Kdog spelled it wrong for some reason. Basian is a town in Pakistan.

Frequentists, the usual sort of statistics, define probability as the long-run average of a lot of repetitions of an event.

Bayesians define probability as the degree of belief; a subset of them argue that these beliefs are largely personal, and only asymptotically approach the same value with repeated observations.

There are two sorts of Bayesian applications. First is a whole class of Bayesian statistics, which explicitly incorporate your prior beliefs in something and tell you how to change your beliefs. As an example why this is useful, suppose you want to know if a coin is fair. You strongly believe that the probability of a heads is .5, so if you flip the coin 100 times and get 47 heads, you are likely to believe it is still very close to 0.5, rather than the frequenist estimate of 0.47.

There’s a second kind of Bayesian thinking, however, which is probably what you’re hearing about here. This is Bayes as a philosophy of science or model of reasoning. Bayes’ theorem gives you a good model for how to change your beliefs given new evidence. Being Bayesian in this sense means looking for evidence which would radically change your viewpoint according to Bayes theorem, and valuing multiple lines of evidence appropriately.

To expand on this, frequentists are not limited to long run averages.

To make inferences on an unknown population parameter, a sample is collected from the population and one of a number of estimation techniques are used. The most common one being maximum likelihood estimator, which is the value of the parameter space that maximizes the likelihood- this is not saying the most likely value of the parameter which is important in the Bayesian perspective.

It turns out with distributions such as Poisson, Binomial, Normal distribution that the location parameter maximum likelihood estimate is the mean. If I recall correctly, it’s not the same for beta distribution and certainly the long run average is not for all of them. The typical strategy is to use the central limit theorem when applicable to say the mean is normally distributed and then the delta theorem to find a function of the mean that would lead to a minimum variance unbiased estimator.

The key thing about frequentists is that all estimation is based on the data itself. On the Bayesian perspective, you put a prior density on the unknown parameter space. Maybe your belief of the probability for a coin toss follows a beta density with specific coin parameters. Maybe you have no information about the unknown parameter and want to use an uninformative prior such as the uniform distribution.

Using Bayes theorem, it can be shown that the probability function of the parameter given the data is a combination of the likelihood of the data given the parameter (which is the part only frequentists use) and the prior density. The resulting probability function is often intractable unless using specific prior densities (Monte Carlo or other estimates can be used when not using these specific prior densities) but the key thing is that you get a resulting probability function for the unknown parameter(s) given the data.

From a Bayesian point of view, using the assumed prior, we can actually find the most likely value of the parameter and this is often chosen. You can actually find the probability of the parameter bring within an interval called credibility interval which frequentists often think they are doing when finding a confidence interval.

In terms of null hypothesis testing, we never say we have enough evidence for the null… just whether or not we have evidence for the alternative. In Bayesian approaches, can actually estimate the probability of the null hypothesis.

Just some rambling while I’m out at a bar on my mobile phone.

You find what you are looking for. Someone asked Nasruddin why he was looking for coins he had lost in his house under the street lamp. “Because this is where the light is”. Is Fusion impossible? Maybe, maybe not. It certainly is if we think it is though. How does this “possibility thinking” fit in with his Back to the Earth stuff? Rather poorly, I’d say assuming we’re even talking about the same thing. He did spell it differently. And wikipedia is not all knowing….

It sounds like a super complex way of saying dream big. I noticed you mentioned the Georgia Guidestones. The so called green revolution was never meant to achieve a higher or better living standard or a cleaner world. Its all simply been about deindustrializing and deconstructing society. The last time the world had a population of 500 million was around the 15th century. There is no way to achieve that now without some sort of cataclysm or massive war.

        That’s exactly right, SSL

Going back to Barry Commoner in the 70s, proponents of ‘alt energy’ know full well that windmills and solar panels cannot and will not provide the energy it takes to power up the United States. But that’s the point, they were never meant to. The agenda seems to be to return America to a more pastoral way of life perhaps like Holland in the 17th century, when harnessing the wind was an up to date technology.

I see all these misleading articles in the Guardian with headlines like “Windpower grows by 300% in 2019”, or “The End of Coal”, but if you look into it wind provides about 6% of electrical power in the US, and solar less than 2%. If activists and environmentalist with their divestment and other efforts can cause traditional power plants to shut down across the US the results will be brownouts and blackouts and millions of people living in the cold and dark. Take a look at N Cal right now to see how the alt energy delusion plays out in real life.

      Bingo

Yes, because the actual reality of our natural world the equation describes is simple, in words:

      The probability of something ( a ) knowing something else ( b ) which has already happened written as ( a ) given ( b ) ( a | b ) is the same as the probability of ( b ) given ( a ), written as ( b | a ) times the probability of ( a ) divided by the probability of ( b ).

We can see where common ways of thinking can be in error.

      A hypothetical:

A test for Covid is 85% effective 5% of the time this test says you have Covid wehen you don’t. You get the test and you test positive, what are the chances you have Covid?

      Or what is ( b ) given ( a ) when ( a ) given ( b ) is 85%.

The chance you took the test is 100% the area where the test is given has a known infection rate of 7%.

I worked it out and if I did the math right there is only a 10.65% chance you have Covid evien though the test catches Covid 85% of the time in people know to have it.

Counterintuitive and fascinating. We fall prey to the cases we ignore. In this case those who test positive and who do not have the disease.

Well, Big Sister/Brother love that and hate the Masculine – except for themselves perhaps.

you know what’s smack in the center of the “feminine value sphere”? The whole industrial/materialist/tech optimist outlook, as well as the desire to support populations by any means necessary just because they’re here. All these typically “right” leaning takes are…effeminate. Lotta “righties” so much more feminized than they think. would be shocked, to realize.

      • Janos Skorenzy May 26, 2020 at 1:27 pm #

The search itself, both scientific and technical, is promethean and thus masculine. But the enjoyment of the fruits is quintisentially feminine.

Thus hard men create good times. Good times create soft, feminine men. Softies and women create hard times (AOC and the free shit army!). Hard times create hard men. Thus the cycle repeats.

I will teach you all things, robert. But you must be willing to learn. Google William James’ MEOW principle or the Moral Equivalent of War to keep from getting soft in good times. Many have thought about this terrible, existential contradiction. Dethenor, the Steward of Gondor, wore his armor under his clothes to stay hard.

        • gustafson.robert.22 May 26, 2020 at 1:47 pm #

The height of masculinity is to establish optimal, balanced, stable forms… to battle entropic, capricious cycles of society and have vision of what is a degradation in society and what is not. Succumbing to the “inevitability” of cycles, the softness of “good times” or the imbalances and extravagances which drive the “good times/devolution” cycle is degradation of the masculine. High-rolling, over-complex civilizational forms are not a supreme masculine achievement but a degradation of higher expressions of the masculine.

After the War, the Morgenthau Plan was to make Germany into an agricultural state – thus consigning tens of millions to death though that part was left out. Uncle Ted and Kdog’s ideas accept the deaths of billions yet they will accuse me of being a monster because I admit such things whereas they do not. The Left is always on the attack, mentally and spiritually if not physically. The form? Unending projection of their worst elements onto “the other”.

          • gustafson.robert.22 May 26, 2020 at 2:22 pm #

in an ideal sense, the left should be arguing for basically an “as-status-quo-as-possible” future powered by nuclear and as much tech as possible, and the right should be holding fast to imperatives of degrowth, lower ideal population sizes, jettisoning of all non-essential tech and first-world extravagance.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 26, 2020 at 4:22 pm #

National Socialism would try for the best of both: keeping people’s food and lifestyle as natural as possible while encouraging high tech.

The Hindu Trinity also helps us to understand. There is Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver, and Shiva the Destroyer. Only the middle one is static, the other two dynamic and masculine. After all, one must destroy in order to create, an old paradigm or an old building.

Women’s focus is on Vishnu the Preserver. But of themselves, they would not be able to maintain a high tech civilization in any case. Of course since they give birth, this is their Brahma or creative aspect.

Many people are comparing the Ahmaud Arbery case to the Trayvon Martin case; but I think a better comparison is with the Freddie Gray case.

    Why?

Because the prosecution in both the Arbery and Gray cases unnecessarily increased the complexity by charging too many people, and therefore generated the paradox of several LEGAL acts done separately and individually somehow being made to constitute a single criminal act when taken together.

In the Freddie Gray case, this meant an acquittal of any single cop pretty much meant an acquittal of all of them.

In addition I suspect the Georgia citizens arrest statute will NOT be used by the McMicheal defense for the same reason the Zimmerman defense refused to use it.

They will claim Arbery was never arrested; and that they were only ASKING him to stop.

It would be different if they pointed guns at him and said “stop or I’ll shoot!”

But it appears that act failed to occur?”

Its sad that Arbery lost his life while attempting to steal a shot gun; but now the white prosecution is just pandering and virtue signaling to black people…

How does that question arise from that article, benr?

As a Kiwi, I’m pretty familiar with Australia, its government & its people.

The govt protects its border extremely vigorously for sure, but it’s against EVERYONE trying to enter illegally. It’s not racist per se, but most who attempt to enter ‘unconventionally’ (boat people) tend to be non-white – mainly South & East Asians. So it can be accused of racism, but in my view, unfairly so.

How it handles non-citizen residents though is a little different, yet still not overtly racist, and highly unfair. For example, Australia & New Zealanders have automatic entry rights to enter and work into each country – no visa required. Over decades, a lot of Kiwis have emigrated permanently ‘across The Ditch’. Many have had families there, but the children remain NZ citizens if their parents have bit naturalized.

In the last few years under this and previous governments (they were changing prime ministers as often as their socks for a while there), any non-citizen resident who the cops don’t like will be deported to their country of citizenship. This has resulted in a significant number (in the 100s) of Australian-born youngsters & adults being deported to a country they’ve never been to before and basically dumped. Is that racist against Kiwis? Shameful, but not racist.

However, the people has just as many racist arseholes as anywhere else, including NZ & USA. Janos Down Under.

Shameful? Why? If parents rob a bank and then before the cops catch them, they give the money to their kids, do the kids get to keep it?

They are under no obligation to let them stay. If they do, it is a mercy since the Law says otherwise. If they deport them, it is just following procedure. This is classic case of the Feminine value sphere and why it simply doesn’t make it on the macro scale. The Law must come first. If Mercy comes first, it become the de facto Law and people no longer feel grateful for being treated mercifully. They just demand more. And once the previous Law is unofficially rescinded in favror of the new normal, the new Mercy setting will begin to succumb to the new demand. Rinse and repeat again and again until the Nation dies.

The Law, Maj, the Law. You must learn to bow before the Law. Mercy always comes afterwards, if it at all.

Last sentence, have not has. You are now completely corrected, until next time.

        • Majella May 26, 2020 at 5:56 pm #

The Law is the creature of politicians. This particular “law” is simply allowing a particular jurisdiction to export its problems on a technicality, enshrined in that law – a technicality that can be removed without destroying its basic and legitimate sense & intention.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 26, 2020 at 6:49 pm #

Ridiculous. Or do you believe the same about all laws and the very idea of law? As if the Maori had no laws!

            > not relevant and
            > flawed in any case.

These are ‘customary protocols’ as opposed to the Western concept of Law.

You also chose a very generalised custom which is that upoko is tapu and it applies to ANY person, in that it is highly disrespectful, if uninvited.

If the te upoko a te ariki was touched in disrespect, it COULD result in a mere cleaving your own upoko but not in recent memory.

Beit Zayit Reservoir was built in the 1950s by placing a dam on the Sorek River. Aimed at helping replenish the Coastal Aquifer, it was pronounced a failure: most of the water it traps instead makes its way towards the Jordan River and the Dead Sea.

But it is being upgraded for fossil fuel fun.

The opening scene of the movie “Idiocracy” – the best primer on IQ and its social consequences in existence, at least for the smart but dumbed down or visually mediated normies.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sP2tUW0HDHA

It’s all here. The Karenated Couples who have few or no children being out bred by the Clevons. The resulting low IQ culture is a mixture of ghetto and hillbilly, with dumb Hispanics around too.

It wouldn’t pan out quite like this, but the movie doesn’t get into race and racially based conflict – just the humorous results of there being no smart people left. Tragicomedy with the focus on the comedy.

This is the basis for my whole outlook. If you can grok this, you have groked the most of me. If you can’t, then you won’t.

The Yahoo statement about Moore’s movie said that You Tube was being pressured by Climate Change organizations to shut it down. When organizations feel threatened they will act this way, trying to censure public information. The world needs all the energy it produces, FF, nuclear, coal, wind, tidal, geothermal, solar, everything. Conversion from one form to another is impossible, because we need all of them. If we try to limit energy availability, people will die. Wise folks in the world realize this and that is why climate change activists are largely ignored.

Janos is right, we need to increase the technology capability of fission, fusion and possible extraterrestrial form of energy production. Just to keep up but also because FF, coal are both based on finite resources that WILL need to be replaced in the future.

In politics, the real challenge we are seeing is the contest between globalists and nationalists everywhere. As the world runs out of necessary resources, choices have to be made. Who is going to get the goodies? Globalists want to distribute Resources evenly for everyone, nationalists want to get the resources their countries want first. The problem for the globalists is that we are already resource limited for their goal. As the amount of resources deplete, this will become more nationalistic.

In reality, this will end up with the elitists trying to maintain their standard of living by hoarding resources for themselves. That is the way of the world. Always has been, always will be.

Climate Change is just an aspect of this. Globalists need CC as a political ploy to redistribute resources. Their problem is that the only real source of resource depletion and climate change is overpopulation, which has no solution with the only real outcome being catastrophe.

God gave us reason to break the instinct mold so that we can avoid natural extinction by “ using our heads”.

Tain’t working very well right now.

Bottom line, all energy sources are needed, all sources must be encouraged. As soda straw oil sources peter out, deep sea and fracking recovery will increase. Until they run out.

    • akmofo May 26, 2020 at 4:11 pm #

Today’s resources are not tomorrow’s resources and visa versa. We don’t know the future, but we do know we will 100% wrong in predicting it.

“Globalists want to distribute Resources evenly for everyone”

No. They want centralization and to create a global plantation of sorts. The middle class will be a sliver of what it was, and the working poor and the poor demographic in general will increase at a rate not seen in modern history.

One can argue that allowing nation states to exist is also “unfair” for a variety of reasons, but life is not fair, and cenralization at the global level is the ultimate in control.

      • akmofo May 26, 2020 at 5:26 pm #

        Exactly.

Most if not all of the political and economic machinations of the last 2000 years, and particularly since The Enlightenment, have all been about centralization and global control. There’s direct relation to the Vatican and its thousands years agenda of global empire. The Vatican is the invisible hand driving and sponsoring these processes through its agents and secret and not so secret affiliated organizations.

I am watching a suit ‘n tie black man being interviewed on CNBC. His name is Kenneth Frazier and he is the Chairman and CEO of Merck. Like the other black executive I mentioned several days ago (John Thompson), his name is NOT Jadeveon Clowney. I have a theory that a black person can go further in a business career if their parents choose a typically white name for their baby. But if they choose Jadeveon, Deshawn or D’Brickashaw their child is only likely to advance in football.

I did note, BTW, that in the course of the interview Mr. Frazier slipped up twice. He verbally clipped the ‘se’ off the word ‘because’ and he said ‘dat’ instead of ‘that.’ The vernacular is VERY deeply ingrained.

Karen was active in Newtown, Ct today. In a Big Y supermarket, Karen encountered a young man walking the wrong direction down the frozen food aisle. Even tho he was properly masked, Karen began screaming at him, ordering him to turn around and walk the correct direction. When he ignored her she took off her own mask and spit in his face. Now she is facing all kinds of criminal charges which could land her in jail for up to 1 year.

Newtown is a strange place. It’s a pretty little town with a broad main street lined by maples. Newtown is where the airline pilot ran his stewardess wife thru a wood chipper. (We call him chip) It is where the Sandy Hook school massacre occurred in 2012, and it is where the maniac is from who right now is the subject of an FBI and multi agency manhunt as a suspect in 2 murders, an assault with a machete, a home invasion, a kidnapping and the theft of 3 cars and numerous firearms. A senior at UCONN, just heard he is still on the lam and at large in NJ.

Valid up to a point, but of course most Jews are agnostic or atheists. And are the Reform Jews even Jews in a religious sense any more? Many of them are agnostics or atheists and go to Synagogue only on the high Holidays as a cultural thing. Weak tea, much like Unitarianism in Christianity. Now this attitude has conquered most of the main sects of Protestantism and made deep inroads in the Catholic Church as well.

      • akmofo May 27, 2020 at 12:11 pm #

“Reform Jews” are Vatican educated communists and the “Orthodox Jews” are Vatican dressed clowns. They are both together inconsequential minorities of less than 10% combined. The only real Jews are the Zionist Jews that live in Israel and those that plan to do so in the near future. That’s what Judaism is. Full stop. It’s not the fake Vatican crap that’s served on the propaganda outlets as “typical” when it is anything but.

It’s not just the Flynn case that’s unspooling. It’s the US. The World.
Society. It’s unravelling, unwinding. The virus has formed the wickedly whirling vortex that we are ever more quickly spiraling into.

“Just when you thought the world has reached a level of peak absurdity, the Nigerian scheme makes a grand reappearance.
Washington state officials admitted losing “hundreds of millions of dollars” to an international fraud scheme, originating out of Nigeria, that robbed the state’s unemployment insurance system and could mean even longer delays for thousands of jobless workers still waiting for legitimate benefits.

As the Seattle Times reported, Suzi LeVine, commissioner of the state Employment Security Department (ESD), disclosed the staggering losses during a news conference Thursday afternoon. LeVine declined to specify how much money was stolen during the scam, which she said appears to be orchestrated out of Nigeria but she conceded that the amount was “orders of magnitude above” the $1.6 million that ESD reported losing to fraudsters in April.

That same day, the Secret Service issued an alert describing Washington as the top target so far of a Nigerian fraud ring ‘exploiting the COVID-19 crisis to commit large-scale fraud against state unemployment insurance programs.’

It remains unclear how the fraudulent benefit payments made their way all the way to Nigeria.”

Wall Street? Not on your life. But I guess you could call these guys the Goldman Blacks.

“Gambling and social distancing? Not quite yet in Las Vegas, which at this point is only gearing up for ‘pre-opening’ procedures, including mass COVID-19 testing of gaming employees as they prepare to get called back to work. The Las Vegas strip began shuttering in mid-March (similar to East coast spots), a devastating blow nearly unprecedented in history, and at a total cost of hundreds of millions per week in revenue lost.

However, as the WSJ details, casinos in Louisiana and Mississippi are opening for the first time since ‘stay at home’ orders were issued. All eyes are on gambling in the south — and what greatly altered ‘COVID-safe’ casinos and social distancing protocols will look like in this context — and as a marker for what’s expected later in larger gaming Meccas like Atlantic City, which has seen hotels only begin taking reservations for mid-June.”

Yes, America will be back with its massage parlors, its bars, its tattoo parlors, its gambling halls, its racing circuits and sports arenas, and its drug supply, easing the angst filled Covid void with chemicals and adrenaline shocks and the illusion of fulfillment.

Friday to Monday in Chicago saw 49 people shot, 10 fatally.

In Minneapolis, a dumb cop takes a knee, maybe thinks he’s killing Kaepernick.

Then of course there’s the usual litany of international problems. Israel. Brazil. Venezuela. China. Hong Kong. Iran. NK, etc.

So, go back to what? Watching money appear like some quantum fluctuation, out of nothing? To a nation that can’t even provide its own medicine? To a Trump and Pence or a Biden and Harris? To a scumbag like Kushner? To a country that can’t bring justice to its own traitors? Yes, Trump will take us back, and reopen the void we can all jump back into.

Let the fools run to the churches with their delusions, let the Reaper rip. Let the unmasked go under with those they have taken, let them forever be forsaken.

Space Malcolm X is claiming its going to save all kinds of tax payer money by making significant parts of its rocket reusable; but they said the same thing about the Space Shuttle and it never penciled out.

Pretty much anything can be called “reusable” if you basically rebuild the entire thing?

The Space shuttle was a white elephant; and the Space X rocket is not even as good as Apollo.

    I remain unimpressed.

A business has to have its financial ducks in a row before investing in research and development. The space program is small potatoes but in an economic environment we live in now, is it appropriate?

Trump’s Space Force is being created to protect the many and myriad groups of satellites we have to have now to run everything.

How to protect satellites from attack from the ground so their defense and communication functions are not compromised. The basics of the Space Force have been going on in Colorado since I lived there in the 1980s. It is nothing new.

Good news on State new cases.

Most of states on my 12 State canvass show a slight decline over the past few days? Are we seeing the beginning of a seasonal tendency, time will tell.

Still the bipolar trend lines, New York, New Jersey and Washington show an initial surge followed by a long falling off period tending toward a steady state daily occurrence. The western and southern states are following a slow uprise since the onset with no surge. Many of these states are leveling off since the economic turn on started.

The strange thing that seems to counter the experts is the leveling off. Why do the rates of infection level off instead of declining to low rates predicted by the models? New York, for example, shows a decline since April, but is leveling off with incident rates still in the thousands daily.

The best curves are Michigan and Colorado, both trending down. Michigan is stubbornly trying to hold on to the shutdown and Colorado was one of the first states to start stopping the shutdown.

To me, the number one influence is urbanization, which could point in many directions including small personal spaces but also inadequate and old infrastructure. Small town states like Montana and Wyoming have had very few cases. It is also obvious that this would lead to a Red-Blue split politics wise.

Cuomo is going to have to figure out how to get all those folks that left to come back.

    • SoftStarLight May 27, 2020 at 10:02 am #

It seems like the “experts” are actually worried that the virus will disappear before a vaccine is developed. Check in two weeks if there is a big spike in cases. The mainstream is saying that widespread failures to social distance on Memorial Day could result in superspreading events. I bet this is somehow going to be used in the future like climate change is to increase laws, regulations, and create new taxes.

      • JohnAZ May 27, 2020 at 10:09 am #

        Oh yeah!

That is why a cure to destroy the generic virus in vitro should be the primary goal of R&D.

If the efficacy of vaccines is demonstrated by the common misses of the flu vaccine, 19 , 20, 21 will stop us every year.

Another alleged criminal resists arrest and dies for his efforts and we are all to get worked up about it?
Why is this seem to happen every couple of years or should I say why is it put through the media circuit in this way?
Pretty sure death by cop happens more often that anyone would believe so how is it certain suicides get exposure and others just go away?

If you are approached by a cop comply get his badge and sue the crap out of him if he does something wrong.

Is the solution to just disarm everyone?

Black vs. White is constantly is the forefront of all the cop confrontations. Right now, Black cops kill lots of Black folks and White cops kill lots of White folks. Why don’t these confrontations make the headlines? If we could have White on White and Black on Black community surveillance, would that solve the problem?

Politics and the media make this one a mission impossible.

Here is what I would do.
I would not do the following:
Case neighborhoods late at night to rob them.
I would not wander around a construction zone after dark.
I would not strong arm rob a store and walk down the middle of the street afterwards and then charge a cop.
I would not steal peoples identities and attempt to write bad checks on them.
I would not do most of what gets these idiots in a confrontation.
I don’t attempt to knock random people out just because its fun.
I don’t pick fights with people or shoot at them because they are wearing a stupid colored handkerchief.

Over and over the mcMedia pushes a narrative that turns out to be false and these guys get in over their heads and bam they dead.

Thwack supports the killing of the jogger. I assume he realizes that Martin and Brown brought on their own deaths as well. But this is one of those more unusual cases where the Blacks are right and the Whites are wrong. This one is much like the murder of Eric Garner – the cop simply would not stop choking him even though subdued. The Cop did not have to keep pressing on this man’s neck. Turn him on his stomach and keep your knee on his back would have sufficed.

Think about it – the “neck” is delicate enough but the throat is even more so. The throat isn’t that far away from the neck at all. Windpipe and Cartoid artery

I remember about five years ago here in Louisiana when two black officers shot and killed a six year old white boy in what they called a pursuit of the boy’s father. However it turns out there was no arrest warrant out for the dad and he had no weapons or alcohol or drugs in his truck. But yet the little six year old boy was shot five times in the head. It barely made national news and then disappeared altogether.

No matter how many classes, or exercises that police attend, incidents will still occur.

We need to take individual corrective action on incidents, then go on.

An extraordinary number of White Americans are cop worshipers or badge suckers. A very, very bad sign. Goes along with “My Country right or wrong” and if you get beat up by the cops, you had it coming – or murdered. The Authoritarian Personality is a real thing, but of course the advocates of the idea extended it everyone who believed in any law, order, or borders. Utterly weaponized it. Thus the divide in America was made ever deeper and formalized: the beginning moves of the coming Civil War.

    A question for your opinion.

Why have the Blacks continued to isolate themselves from society? To try to make their own society? Does the Black leadership want to secede from the US and form Liberia inside the country? What is the goal of the Black community in the US.

The facts are Blacks were 12% of the population in the fifties and are 13% and change today. They are never going to control the culture here. The counter hatred and bias by the Blacks are counter productive to getting ahead in society. Why does the reaction to that promote withdrawal and possibly the formation of gangs that separate Blacks from Blacks and from society in general.

Are Blacks their own worst enemy? And oh yeah, define what a Black person is today. I do not see very many “Black” people any more.

      • Janos Skorenzy May 27, 2020 at 12:21 pm #

Except that they do control the culture here. The gap between Blacks and Jews is immense. The Jews used them as a battering ram against White America and many of the Blacks have come to realize this. They resent being used as a tool. On the other hand, they wouldn’t have gotten anywhere without the Jews, so maybe some gratitude is in order? Blacks aren’t big on that to the say the least.

The oldest cemetery in the New World is in Jamaica. Second oldest is in New Mexico. The captains of regular and pirate ships in the new world were all Jews. Many Jamaican blacks have Joo blood. I know this because I met many of them in Canada, and I immediately could tell my own.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 27, 2020 at 12:49 pm #

Yes, thank you. Jews have an incredible nautical tradition that they keep quiet about for obvious reasons. I knew about them dominating the slave trade, but piracy too? That I didn’t know. Thanks bro.

Many Jews don’t want Blacks in Israel. And Black Jews cause a lot of crime as do Blacks everywhere.

The classical image of the Pirate isn’t fair skin, brown hair, and blue eyes. But rather “Black Beard” – rather swarthy, black hair, beard, eyes, and hairy body. It fits.

The problem was not with them being black, the problem was with them not being Jews. The Ethiopians that Israel did not want to repatriate were converted to Christianity about 100 years ago. They were no longer Jews. This was a big dilemma for Israel. The original Ethiopian Jews that were first repatriated, there was no problem with that. The problem was what to do with their cousins and family members who were converted to Christianity by evil and unscrupulous missionaries. Anyhow, the decision is was made to bring them all back to Israel regardless. Hopefully, those who were converted to Christianity will see their way back to their original God and his nation.

JS: Anglin supports the Joggers on this one – as do I. My fellow White Americans, renounce your unrighteous cop worship.

    Anglin:

It was a wild night last night, after the cops killed an innocent jogger in Minneapolis and the people rose up against the oppression. These were some serious riots. I’ve never seen so many cop cars destroyed.

You might not care about some criminal jogger, but remember that the same cops that killed this jogger took all of our freedoms away because the sickening government told them a virus means we don’t have a Constitution. They closed our churches, they closed our gyms, they yelled at us and treated us like slaves.

These cops are traitors to America.

    #IStandWithJoggers

I have zero sympathy for the cops at this point. None. They killed this guy, just like they would kill any of us if their paymasters told them to. They are completely out of control, and anyone out there with this “Blue Lives Matter” crap after they’ve watched all of our rights taken from us by these cops is schizophrenic. Why on earth should we be protesting in favor of people who oppress us?

As we’ve reported, the video does show the jogger, George Floyds, basically being tortured to death. He was in handcuffs and the cop just stood on his neck for no reason.

This entire situation is basically just a massive distraction. It might seem strange that it happened in the middle of this whole lockdown fiasco, but it actually isn’t. The cops have been seriously emboldened, and now they’re just killing people like it’s nothing.

So on that level, it is relevant, as it draws attention to the issue, but most whites are just going to see joggers rioting and think this is yet another jogger hoax, and it’s going to make them sympathetic for the same cops who have destroyed the Constitution in the name of the sickening evil government.

As I wrote the other day with regards to these brutal cops:

I know that in the right-wing, we tend to have positive views of the cops as a symbol of lawful authority, but what we all need to understand is that the authority they represent is no longer lawful. The only authority that the cops ever had came from the United States Constitution, and they are flagrantly violating that, stomping all over it, making an absolute mockery of this country, so they no longer deserve any respect at all and should instead be viewed as an enemy of the people.

Thus far, since this coronavirus hoax started, I’m not aware of even one single cop who’s been in the media for refusing to violate the Constitution. All of them swear an oath to the Constitution, and all of them are now in violation of that oath. We no longer owe them respect. They are no longer enforcers of the peace. They are simply thugs and scum doing the bidding of evil people.

These people are traitors who have taken our freedoms.

People need to not look at the color here, and just understand that you’re next.

Whatever the case, this is a dumb distraction designed to confuse people. We shouldn’t be talking about anything other than the lockdown, and here we are talking about this.

JS: I remember one cop who issued a citation and then just walked away in the NJ Gym case. Don’t know if he still has a job. And some sheriffs have been good as is usually the case. But for the rest – they suck.

As for the Joggers – we will give them a generous swath of the Deep South for their own Nation. They will ruin it of course, but we must let it play out. Maybe reservations are the best long term answer once the Nation idea fails.

    • SoftStarLight May 27, 2020 at 1:55 pm #

It really is a good point. The system is so illegitimate now and doesn’t represent our interests. And I didn’t even think about that before. But it’s true! I haven’t seen any coverage of police saying that they aren’t going to enforce unconstitutional orders. But yes there have been some sheriffs that have.

    • benr May 27, 2020 at 2:14 pm #

      Its all a setup.
People being abused for refusing to wear masks and the media gleefully supporting acts of violence against people for refusing to do so.

Then wham the same media has kittens when force is applied to a protected class who can do no wrong even when they are.

      These cops have been fired,
Will have their day in court and if found guilty will do their time.
      The way it should be.

      Food for thought:
Government Revenue generation is not just taxes, its fees, fines and tariffs,’
Is it so out of bounds that they will be told to enforce minor infractions?
They are looking for reasons to ticket and arrest people as the wheels of government are running out of money to grease the skids.

Scott W. Atlas, a physician and senior fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, writes for The Hill:

Our governmental COVID-19 mitigation policy of broad societal lockdown focuses on containing the spread of the disease at all costs, instead of “flattening the curve” and preventing hospital overcrowding. Although well-intentioned, the lockdown was imposed without consideration of its consequences beyond those directly from the pandemic.

The policies have created the greatest global economic disruption in history, with trillions of dollars of lost economic output. These financial losses have been falsely portrayed as purely economic. To the contrary, using numerous National Institutes of Health Public Access publications, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Bureau of Labor Statistics data, and various actuarial tables, we calculate that these policies will cause devastating non-economic consequences that will total millions of accumulated years of life lost in the United States, far beyond what the virus itself has caused.

Pandemics have afflicted humankind throughout history. They devastated the Roman and Byzantine empires, Medieval Europe, China and India, and they continue to the present day despite medical progress.

The past century has witnessed three pandemics with at least 100,000 U.S. fatalities: The “Spanish Flu,” 1918-1919, with between 20 million and 50 million fatalities worldwide, including 675,000 in the U.S.; the “Asian Flu,” 1957-1958, with about 1.1 million deaths worldwide, 116,000 of those in the U.S.; and the “Hong Kong Flu,” 1968-1972, with about 1 million people worldwide, including 100,000 in the U.S. So far, the current pandemic has produced almost 100,000 U.S. deaths, but the reaction of a near-complete economic shutdown is unprecedented.

The lost economic output in the U.S. alone is estimated to be 5 percent of GDP, or $1.1 trillion for every month of the economic shutdown. This lost income results in lost lives as the stresses of unemployment and providing basic needs increase the incidence of suicide, alcohol or drug abuse, and stress-induced illnesses. These effects are particularly severe on the lower-income populace, as they are more likely to lose their jobs, and mortality rates are much higher for lower-income individuals.

Statistically, every $10 million to $24 million lost in U.S. incomes results in one additional death. One portion of this effect is through unemployment, which leads to an average increase in mortality of at least 60 percent. That translates into 7,200 lives lost per month among the 36 million newly unemployed Americans, over 40 percent of whom are not expected to regain their jobs. In addition, many small business owners are near financial collapse, creating lost wealth that results in mortality increases of 50 percent. With an average estimate of one additional lost life per $17 million income loss, that would translate to 65,000 lives lost in the U.S. for each month because of the economic shutdown.

In addition to lives lost because of lost income, lives also are lost due to delayed or foregone health care imposed by the shutdown and the fear it creates among patients. From personal communications with neurosurgery colleagues, about half of their patients have not appeared for treatment of disease which, left untreated, risks brain hemorrhage, paralysis or death.

Here are the examples of missed health care on which we base our calculations: Emergency stroke evaluations are down 40 percent. Of the 650,000 cancer patients receiving chemotherapy in the United States, an estimated half are missing their treatments. Of the 150,000 new cancer cases typically discovered each month in the U.S., most – as elsewhere in the world – are not being diagnosed, and two-thirds to three-fourths of routine cancer screenings are not happening because of shutdown policies and fear among the population. Nearly 85 percent fewer living-donor transplants are occurring now, compared to the same period last year. In addition, more than half of childhood vaccinations are not being performed, setting up the potential of a massive future health disaster.

The implications of treatment delays for situations other than COVID-19 result in 8,000 U.S. deaths per month of the shutdown, or about 120,000 years of remaining life.

These unintended consequences of missed health care amount to more than 500,000 lost years of life per month, not including all the other known skipped care.

If we only consider unemployment-related fatalities from the economic shutdown, that would total at least an additional 7,200 lives per month. Assuming these deaths occur proportionally across the ages of current U.S. mortality data, and equally among men and women, this amounts to more than 200,000 lost years of life for each month of the economic shutdown.

In comparison, COVID-19 fatalities have fallen disproportionately on the elderly, particularly in nursing homes, and those with co-morbidities. Based on the expected remaining lifetimes of these COVID-19 patients, and given that 40 percent of deaths are in nursing homes, the disease has been responsible for 800,000 lost years of life so far. Considering only the losses of life from missed health care and unemployment due solely to the lockdown policy, we conservatively estimate that the national lockdown is responsible for at least 700,000 lost years of life every month, or about 1.5 million so far — already far surpassing the COVID-19 total.

JS: Well here’s a man who can think and is willing to look at the big picture in so doing. This is rare. By the way, this kind of ability was supposed to be what a Liberal Arts education was all about. But even then it was rare because if even if a person has the ability, they seldom have the motivation or largeness of spirit to look at things from the pov of Truth. As the Ancients said of education, character must come first.

I dispute the 100,000 figure of course. He does not know or at least doesn’t touch the prominent fraud aspect to all this. Nor the malice behind it. But good article. We’ve been penny wise, pound foolish to the nth degree.

Back to the Birder case: If I had a conflict with a woman in a park and she escalated it by the calling the cops for no real reason, I would feel threatened as well.

The Black guy was ready, having been in such situations before apparently.

The woman was probably a Liberal, officially loving the Black Race but terrified (and we hate those who terrify us and are terrified of those we hate) of individual Blacks. The Northern view. The Southern view: Love the individual (if they lovable) but hate the Race.

Now how can you love the Race if you don’t like hardly any of the individuals? But the other way makes sense: Hate the Race as a whole, but make exceptions for those who deserve it. To the extent she was friendly with any individual Blacks, she was being Southern despite her false ideology of “love”.

From another angle: question the questioner (yourself). What is he looking for? And in so looking, what is he leaving out? Is his quest a good one? Is what he is leaving out not worthwhile? How does he know that?

Unfortunately the Supreme Court of BC Judge disagreed. Her extradition hearings will continue.
This is because Canada acted on USA extradition request to nab her at the Vancouver Airport. China then grabbed two Canucks and has been holding them in prison in China as retaliation.

In a future totalitarian state, Romney Wordsworth is put on trial for being obsolete. His professed occupation as a librarian is punishable by death as the State has eliminated books. He believes in God, also proof of obsolescence, as the State claims to have proven God does not exist

. But so is the State, the entity he worshiped. Any state, any entity, any ideology which fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man…that state is obsolete. A case to be filed under “M” for “Mankind” – in The Twilight Zone.

I wonder, do you think this White cop was just too stupid to know what he was doing? If not, he should be put up for manslaughter or even murder.
    ***************************

    Thats a good question JohnAZ.

The look on his face and general disposition of ambivolence was confusing to me because as a 19 year veteran you would think he would know better than to choke someone out; and then maintain that flex knee on the neck for 4 more minutes?

I tend to suspect he just didn’t care; because he never had to care in the past?

Instead of malice, it was probably just a wanton display of disregard for human life. After all, it was just a suspicion of a fake $20.00 bill?

Most departments, in this era of covid pandemic would have probably not even bothered to investigate it?

But regardless, this clown just ruined his pension, probably his marriage, and definitely his entire life; EVEN IF HE GETS AWAY WITH IT?

His wife is Asian (jungle Asian) former 9 year medical tech at a hospital where they met, Im sure she is getting death threats too. Now his entire family is in hiding all because he couldn’t be bothered to care if another human being lived or died; and all over $20.00 fucking dollars?

Man, he’s got to be kicking himself right now, so close to retirement…?

I almost feel sorry for him because Im pretty sure he is now in fear for his life and having the same thoughts as the victim had as he suffocated with a knee on his neck?

Finally, Im pretty sure lots of police officers are pissed at him as well; because just like black people, uniformed police officers are a “visible minorities” too?

If the Karen had just called the cops without threatening to do it, telling him on camera that she was going to tell them that a Afro-American was threatening her (a possible lie and of course a big PC no no). It came off as a threat and gave him the ultimate advantage. Just call the cops and tell them a man (don’t mention race until asked for a description) was threatening her – if she really perceived that to be the case. Cops deal with crap like that all the time. No big deal. But she gave herself away, and he took full advantage.

She got all caught up and confused between defense and offense, between actual act and potential act, and destroyed herself, invoking the destruction she feared, but in a different form. Self defense experts like Animal MacYoung have said that women often make conflicts worse, either for themselves or their boyfriends who are with them.

But what does stealing fryers from Target and burning down stores have to do with the pursuit of justice?

    • BackRowHeckler May 28, 2020 at 6:41 am #

Auto zone got burned down in Minneapolis. Think about auto parts stores, full of combustibles — solvents, oil and rubber based products — phew, that must have been a hot fire I’ll tell you what! Did the FD show up to put the fire out? Why bother? Let it burn, it’s safer that way. Why stick your neck?

      • SoftStarLight May 28, 2020 at 9:19 am #

Well and also the FD would have to be extremely careful not to do anything whatsoever that could be perceived in any way shape or form to be racist. Asking people to move out of the way might be considered violence depending on who feels what.

        • thwack May 28, 2020 at 9:31 am #

well if breathing is considered resisting arrest; the definition of violence should be consider null and void.

BTW, officer Chauvin’s wife is kinda hot:

Well I think what happened was murder. The officer committed murder from what I saw so he should pay the price. But I think burning all these random businesses down and looting is not really helping the cause and it isn’t gonna settle things.

They have voted in their own keepers and set themselves on another style of plantation.
A state that can give you all, can take all away, as we are seeing right now.

Next question why was this man intoxicated in public sitting in his car? Any idiot knows not to sit in your car while bombed out on something!
Any cop in America is going to go for a DUI at this point and you can thank MAD for all that pressure.
You can thank the fact that a DUI is a sacred cash cow to city and state cops!
Now with all this lost tax revenue the city, county, state and federal government need to make up the shortfall somehow.

I promise you his skin color made no difference in his arrest how ever his refusal to comply absolutely set the stage for his own abuse and eventual death. Not sure why black men in particular can’t seem to get this message is it stupidity or a lack of understanding that force is never equally applied?

The message sent after Rodney King and all that rioting was never setup business in a black neighborhood as eventually they will rob you into oblivion. Not a good optic and they are cutting off their noses to spite their faces.

This will not end well and then all these people rioting and thieving will all complain that they can’t go to a grocery store or a target to buy things. The cycle of stupidity never seems to end.

Yes, he was murdered on camera. They usually do things like this more surreptitiously, as in a crowd of them in a feeding frenzy so you can’t see clearly who did what. But this time he just calmly tortured him to death, knowingly unknowingly. I’d say 2nd degree murder is a slam dunk at the very least.

I wonder how they will achieve happiness as a human right? That must be the full lobotomy. It’s weird because they have been peppering in the NWO in so much here and there. It’s another one of their forms of open mocking like the 6666 trace bill. They know they hold most if not all the cards and they can do anything they want and they are actively mocking the people who have some clue as to what they are doing. Normies typically think you must be a tin foiler if you start talking about the NWO. The NWO handlers are happy with that state of affairs just fine. So true! The first thing I thought about that lady was that she was likely a raging democrat communist. She is probably an SJW through and through. It happened in NYC, so perhaps a high probability. She worked at an Investment Firm. Hmmmm….Wall Street maybe?

I had a black male friend many years ago, grew up in PA. He would never go in an elevator alone with a white woman. Said his father told him not to when he was kid, cause you never know when they might scream rape. I am inclined to find that a credible reason.

She was entitled and felt the need to walk her dog off leash, didn’t like the black guy being a Karen and did a power and control move so she would get her way. She got fired from her job. Served her right.

Here’s Why Men Are Pointing Loaded Guns at Their Dicks
Internal fighting among gun owners has led to one of the dumbest memes of all time.

    https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/k7q83v/heres-why-men-are-pointing-loaded-guns-at-their-dicks

“Gun people are taking pictures of themselves aiming weapons at their dicks. The safety is off, their finger hovers on the trigger, and the barrel of the weapon is pointed straight at their genitals. …

“[P]ointing a gun at your penis has nothing to do with owning the libs and everything to do with ironically mocking basic safety in gun culture. The trend is about a year old and it was born in the fires of Facebook’s gun groups. On one side are responsible gun owners, on the other is a group of men aiming a deadly weapon at their dicks to prove a point that they can only vaguely explain. … It is, essentially, shitposting, and internal fighting within the gun ownership community.

“… When you ironically point a gun at your dick, you’re still pointing a gun at your dick.”

    Don’t miss the photos.

Want a good read? Try what I’m reading now, “The Great Siege of Malta 1565” by Ernle Bradford. Some great Jihadis are give their due as fighting men, but towering above all is the Grand Master of the Knights of St John (also known as the Hospitalers). When hearing that Mustapha planned to put all to the sword except him and bring him in chains to Constantinople, he said, I will not allow that to happen. If the Fortress falls, which I do not expect, I will remove my insignia and die with my brothers.

Earlier in the siege, after Christian prisoners were put to death, he beheaded his Turkish prisoners and fired their heads at them with cannons.

JS: Anglin does not support the Birders on this one. From about half way down in his article so as not to be too long. Just the pith not the pitch.

Anglin: That having been said, this is truly an Orwellian situation.

I’m the number one person you will find criticizing white women like that in the video. She’s a used up thirty-something with no kids living in New York City, and I can guarantee you that she is, in any other circumstance, on the front line of fighting against “racism.”

However, there is a reality that every woman knows, and that is that a lone black male is scary, no matter how politically correct you are. Such a figure is scary because of basic pattern recognition. Blacks are responsible for virtually all violent crime, and if you get in a position where you’re alone with one, he might decide to rob you or rape you, or just kill you for no reason. It literally happens every day. There is not a single day that goes by that a black male doesn’t rape and murder a white woman.

Complaining about this Central Park “event,” the New York Times’ house negro Charles M. Blow has a piece up about how white women commit terrorism against black men by inciting white men to lynch them.

He goes back to 1903, talking about a Mississippi politician who said some mean things about black people in order to justify his claims about white women being part of a conspiracy to hurt black men for no reason.

Meanwhile, I don’t have to go back over 100 years to show that black men are a clear and present danger to white people, and that they violently attack us every chance they get. I can just go to last week, when footage of a black supremacist extremist was released, showing him beating up old white people in a nursing home. This event got nowhere near the amount of media coverage that this stupid Central Park non-event is getting, which is truly incredible, and absolute proof that the media has an extreme agenda to hurt white people.

It is utterly bizarre to claim that whites are a violent threat to blacks. It’s something akin to claiming that sheep are a violent threat to wolves. It is literally alternate reality material.

The black male who scared the woman at the park is supposedly a nice person and a professional and wasn’t going to rape or murder her, according to media reports. He was however obviously looking to go viral on social media as the victim of a white person, hence his filming of the event and posting it on social media. So is it impossible that he was indeed purposefully acting in such a way as to make her more afraid than she otherwise would have been?

When the recording starts, the woman is clearly terrified. Single white women in the big city are always unhinged, and often living in a constant state of agitation, so I could believe he didn’t provoke her, but I could also believe he did. What’s more, the condescending and aggressive way he’s speaking to her when the recording is rolling could be considered intimidating. Either way, she was legitimately afraid, which I think is the point here, and the idea of punishing her for that, both by firing her, and now by investigating her for some sort of thought crime, is just really almost unimaginable.

The average American I do not think is aware of just how insane this has all gotten. We are supposed to have freedom in this country. But it’s now illegal for a single woman, scared in a park, to call the cops on a man who is intimidating her? And the claim is that the hysterical white woman was intimidating the black man? That’s the criminal charge? When a man comes up to a woman in a park, if she calls the cops on him for making her afraid, it’s the woman that is doing the intimidating?

I’m very tired of feminism, and I honestly think these women are getting what they deserve, but the idea of any woman intimidating any man is ridiculous. At any point in this interaction, the man had the option to walk away, and yet he chose to stand there filming the woman. And… look, I don’t even know what else to say about this. We are in a mirror world, where apparently a black man can come up to a lone white woman in the park and begin intimidating her and when she calls the cops on him she’s criminally investigated for intimidation.

This is clearly designed to make an example of this woman, but the question is: what is the example? I guess it’s just “black people are sacred in our society, you can’t ever do anything that might offend them, and if you get scared of a black, you’d better not call the cops because you’ll be charged criminally.”

You’d think feminists would be coming out right now and stating the obvious: that this is going to make women afraid to call the cops in situations where a man could be dangerous. But feminists won’t do that. Because the only thing feminists care about is harming white men, meaning they don’t care about this situation.

As the police state being initiated by the coronavirus hoax continues to negate the rule of law in America, you’re going to start seeing increasingly bizarre uses of the state to manipulate the fabric of society for weird purposes.

JS: In the middle of this part he shows a video and tweets about a White Woman in a wheel chair in Minneapolis who tried to stop rampaging Black Lives Matter youfs from ransacking a store. She was sprayed in the face with a fire extinguisher, beaten in the head with it and had her purse robbed. Just a few weeks ago. Anyone here anything about this? I didn’t – not even on Amren that covers such things. There are so many (add italics) that even we can’t cover them all. And the MSM ignores them past the local level if they can get away with it.

    • SoftStarLight May 28, 2020 at 2:17 pm #

I think the example is basically saying that whites are going to get in trouble now if they even attempt to defend themselves in any way. A logical and natural outcome of a system that has finally arrived at a point where they are very clearly able to make it known that white lives do not matter at all.

      • Janos Skorenzy May 28, 2020 at 2:40 pm #

We had an eye opening case this week in uppity New Canaan, Ct … a women jogger noticed a red Honda passing her several times on the leafy streets, then the red Honda ran her down from behind. The driver, an esteemed Central American immigrant, jumped out and tried to subdue her and stuff her into the backseat. When she resisted he dragged her into a nearby river and was attempting to drown her. Some passersby came to her rescue, saving her life. An arrest was made and apparently this was the assailants MO as he ran down another woman jogger in Greenwich last month. They cruise our streets day and night looking for opportunities, an open garage door, an unlocked car, a lone woman jogger …

benr calling me pathetic is like Trump calling a reporter disgraceful. It has no meaning because everyone, including Trump himself, knows he”s the disgrace. He cheats so everybody cheats. He projects everything he does on others. And the whole ccountrry has T.U.R.D. Trump Unbelievably Ripe Douchebag.
douchbag-2 chiefly US slang : an obnoxious, offensive, or disgusting person
In America even scummy douchebags like you should be able to catch a cold.
    — Stephen King
The term “douchebag” generally refers to a male with a certain combination of obnoxious characteristics related to attitude, social ineptitude, public behavior, or outward presentation.

Though the common douchebag thinks he is accepted by the people around him, most of his peers dislike him. He has an inflated sense of self-worth, compounded by a lack of social grace and self-awareness. He behaves inappropriately in public, yet is completely ignorant to how pathetic he appears to others.

He often talks about how cool, successful, and popular he is, yet never catches on to the fact that he comes across as a total loser. Nevertheless, he firmly believes that he is the smartest, most desirable, and most charming person in the room… and will try to bad-rep anyone who would threaten to expose this facade.

He fancies himself a ladies’ man, yet tends to be a joke to all but the most naive of women. He tries to portray himself as part of the in-crowd (a fashionista, an upwardly mobile professional, the life of the party, etc.) but only succeeds in his own mind.

To everyone else, he is an annoying and arrogant phony who comes across as a wannabe overcompensating for his insecurities. He tries to appear like the center of whatever group will tolerate him, but in reality, he is just a tag-along who mooches drinks, women, contacts, social standing, and other benefits from the group… while contributing nothing.

      The irony here is priceless.

The virus is 3 fold smaller than what the masks can filter. Meaning, them masks are useless. Funny that the “lamebrains” know that and partizan hacks like you do not know that, or do not care. Wearing masks is an exercise in stupidity and unquestioned obedience to commie authority. Something that we can always count on commie “dipshits” in doing.

      • tucsonspur May 28, 2020 at 6:22 pm #

Masks aren’t a perfect solution, but they do help a lot. No doubt about that.

        • akmofo May 28, 2020 at 6:30 pm #

The only people they’re helping in this case are commie tyrants with their commie edicts. In all the months of this nonsense and in his million appearances on TV, how many times did you see Fascist Fauci keep 2 meters social distance or wear a mask? Youz being played for the commie idiots youz are.

          • Laundromat Blues May 28, 2020 at 7:00 pm #

That statement presumes every coronavirus droplet is 50 microns or whatever 3X smaller is. The droplet size is a normal distribution, meaning 70 percent are a certain size, 15 % are smaller and 15 % are bigger. I bet a dollar to a donut you are talking -6 sigma here and just 3 % are that small.

          • akmofo May 28, 2020 at 7:35 pm #

There’s NOTHING physical that will protect you from a virus, short of a hazmat suit and a complete biohazard decontamination wash. Your only protection is proper nutrition healthy diet and healthy lifestyle. And that’s not even talked about on the commie menu.

          • Majella May 28, 2020 at 7:49 pm #

As well, LB, how large are the COVID-carrying droplets, on average? On the scale of microbiology, each droplet in a cough or sneeze is simply enormous.

When the mask stops a droplet, are we to believe that the virus-cell continues outwards, out of the droplet, and then through the mask? It may be so, but I doubt it.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 28, 2020 at 11:52 pm #

Well that’s the question. We need this to be tested. Sooner or later the droplet will dry out and the virus is likely to go onwards or back into the person’s mouth. Sands droplet, it will drop down I assume a la gravity.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 28, 2020 at 11:52 pm #

We need this to be tested
            ==

It was. The masks are useless.

          • akmofo May 29, 2020 at 12:30 am #

            Among many such studies..

            https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/02786826.2013.829209

            Conclusions:
“The results suggest that the tested SM may not be able to provide substantial protection against aerosol particles at least up to ?500 nm at any relevant combination of the breathing frequency and flow rate.“
            ==

I guarantee you that Fascist Fauci knows this, and knew this from day one and before. The guy should be shot dead for the economic devastation he has caused.

China should face war sanctions and forced to pay reparations to the world for the damage it has inflicted on it.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 29, 2020 at 1:11 am #

But it is said that the Covid virus has no aerosol capacity of its own sans the droplet. How big are the droplets? Surely the masks stop them. But then what? What happens once the droplet dries out from the heat of the day and/or the breath?

The commie irony of it all

  124. JohnAZ May 28, 2020 at 6:48 pm #

    BRH

A study was done in Hartford and a similar one in Massachusetts. They could have portent for the future.

The sewage sludge was being monitored for the RNA residue of the Coronavirus in both places. The study showed a definite correlation between spikes in the residue quantity and spikes in new cases of 19 seven days later. The article put the blame on non-symptomatic folks passing the virus during the first week and the upsurge being a consequence a week later.

I wonder if the virus has survivors that make it back into drinking water systems. It sure would help explain why the cities seem to be the Centers of the outbreaks. Antiquated systems could be “poisoning” the citizens.

Trump and Cuomo are busily discussing infrastructure problems right now. ???

    • BackRowHeckler May 28, 2020 at 7:20 pm #

Wow. That hasn’t even got a mention here JAZ. The water systems go back to the 1890s, mostly a series of interconnected dams and reservoirs. The engineers who designed it are described as geniuses and visionarys because here it is 120 years later and we’re still using the systems they designed and built. I know a few guys who work for UWC and I’m going to ask them about that. One of the best things about the reservoirs is that the land around them — thousands and thousands of acres — is protected from development and is used for recreation.

Are you suggesting COVID 19 is in feces and urine?????????

      • Majella May 28, 2020 at 8:37 pm #

LB, yes, it is. and is a useful monitoring tool.

      • JohnAZ May 28, 2020 at 9:42 pm #

When the virus propagates it is everywhere there is ACE 2 receptors, which is everywhere. Yes, we shed virus in stool and infected urine. Urine is normally sterile but with UTI it is not.

Think about it. If we shed virus from all expiratory processes.

Sweat, stool, urine, tears, mucus, expiration moisture, body oil, spit, semen.

No wonder we do not really have a handle on the transmission.

    • Majella May 28, 2020 at 8:36 pm #

JohnAZ – you first mentioned this s few threads ago, if I recall correctly?

It was about the same time as the breakdown in new infections in NYC showed that more than 50% among those who had been sheltering at home. It seems to me that indeed there may be a connection between Covid in the sewerage and through inadequate treatment the virus was going into the drinking water. If so – holy hell!

      • akmofo May 28, 2020 at 8:50 pm #

Why the surprise? I said this to you 2 months ago, only back then you were deriding this assertion as another of my “unhinged tinfoil hat conspiracy theories”.

        • Majella May 28, 2020 at 11:35 pm #

Any idea where Ronny Johnson’s office in the West Wing is located?

      • JohnAZ May 28, 2020 at 9:50 pm #

        And not just NYC.

I wish someone would investigate why NYC was so totally different than anywhere else.

        Rapid transit?

        Water system?

        Smaller average personal space?

        Apartment living?

        Taxis and Ubers predominance?

Three airports bringing in the virus at the beginning?

Looking at the State by state variations show that states with much urbanization have the surge profile. The rest are slowly increasing or at steady state. Wisconsin lately has passed an increasing inflection point. Why? Who is investigating the potential outbreak?

Government at all levels is worthless regarding the epidemic.

Trump tweets gasoline onto the Minneapolis fires. Calls out the Leftist mayor Jakob Frey, tells him to get the city under control.

    Donald J. Trump

“I can’t stand back & watch this happen to a great American City, Minneapolis. A total lack of leadership. Either the very weak Radical Left Mayor, Jacob Frey, get his act together and bring the City under control, or I will send in the National Guard & get the job done right…..

….These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!”

Trump did campaign on law and order. He’s bustin’ a take charge move!

“George Floyd was convicted of an armed home invasion robbery in Houston in 2007, and was sentenced to 5 years in state prison.”

Mayor Frey’s platform second only to ‘fighting climate change’, is ‘affordable housing’. What a surprise it must have been then when he found out his signature affordable housing project — half finished — had been burned to the ground, ha!

Auto Zone burned hot, as might be expected. About 50 businesses set on fire in Minneapolis, including the looted Target store. The Police Station set alight last evening — the Police Station for Krissake. Now the only thing left to do is for the top to bottom lefty Farmer/Labor pols who run Minnesota is to blame the chaos on President Trump and Republicans. That’s gonna take some work but I’m confident CNN is up to the job.

Im starting to suspect Officer Chauvin had an “Amber Guyger moment” when he killed George Floyd. He simply forgot to take his knee off George’s neck even after he went limp and silent.

    But,

    but,

Chauvin’s “Amber Guyger moment” could only occur during a 19 year long career “black lives DON’T really matter moment.”

Regardless, I suspect he does now realizes that black lives DO matter because even if he walks, he’s gonna hafta spend the rest of his life hiding from black people; and never really sure he can trust the white people around him.

Like Guyger, Chauvin is probably a simpleton “prole”; he married an Asian retread with a couple of kids, and they had none of their own, so he’s also a cuck.

Lots of “hidden” racism in those white male/Asian female marriages; just ask the male offspring of such unions.
