How do you like the party you supposedly voted into power so far? Or is it perhaps too much to say they were actually voted into anything? And if so — if there was something, let’s say, a little irregular with the ballot tabulation, maybe even more than a little — have they not succeeded splendidly in pissing-off more than half the people across the land? And then attempted to rub that half’s faces into the squishy, fetid loam of the DC Swamp?

I’d say that every move they make, every breath they take, seems calculated to spark a new civil war. Yesterday’s spiteful exercise in cognitive dissonance was a humdinger: Mr. Biden threatened to cut off travel to Florida for flouting his regime’s policy on Covid-19 lockdowns, while over in Texas (and several other states), he ordered a general unlocking-down of the border with Mexico, permitting the unchecked illegal ingress of thousands of possible Covid-19 carriers a day. Ron DeSantis, Florida’s governor, responded, saying — if I may paraphrase — see you in court, asshole.

Meanwhile, the cancellation reign-of-terror among the regime’s self-appointed guardians of Wokeness rages on. In the name of diversity and inclusion, no one in the USA is allowed to publicly question the Woke narrative of the moment, or else be deprived of your livelihood. The New York Times fired forty-year veteran science reporter Donald G. McNeil, Jr., for using the freighted word “n*gg*r” while answering a student’s question about the history of the word’s usage, just as I am explaining his use of it in the incident at issue — that is, academically.

Though Mr. McNeil’s intent was incontrovertibly innocent as viewed by persons not insane — including, only briefly, the paper’s executive editor Dean Baquet — the decision to not sack Mr. McNeil provoked a reflexive uproar among the Times’s staff, as something in the wind might provoke a flight of grasshoppers transforming into a swarm of locusts, and Mr. Baquet reversed himself, forcing Mr. McNeil to choose demotion or resignation. Then, to make matters worse, the Times’s publisher, AG Sulzberger, spiked a column by nominally “conservative” op-ed writer Bret Stephens that attempted to argue some legalistic points about intent in the conduct of a witch hunt, an apparent affront to the Times’s witch-hunters, who seem to prefer their witch-hunting as a straight-up blood sport.

How strange it is to see the group formerly so avid for social and sexual transgression, and the artistic subversion of norms, turn into the most viciously censorious species of bluenose. But, of course, you must understand that Wokery is not about principle, not even a teeny-weeny bit. It’s simply about coercion and punishment, which is exactly why apologizing for supposed counter-Woke errors never avails. In other words, you are not dealing with a mere extreme type of moralist, but rather dedicated sadists. They’re not in it to correct injustice, but for the pleasures of vengeance alone, the torturing of their quarry, and the glow of power it confers.

And the motive is no different among the Democratic Party’s Wokesters in government. How else explain the idiotic impeachment of former president Trump, like the trial of the cadaver of Pope Formosus in the year 897, seven months after his death, for provoking the Carolingian Duke Arnolf to cross the Alps into Italy and seize the throne of the Holy Roman Empire. That episode took place in the heart of the Dark Ages, of course, but have we perhaps not entered a new Dark Age with the Woke Inquisition against — let’s just face it — Western Civ, and all its (for some) difficult-to-comprehend achievements?

Like the trial of Formosus, the trial of Mr. Trump is strictly in the service of laying out a story, a narrative, for validating the continued persecution of Woke heretics — that is, “insurrectionists,” indeed anyone not ardently on-board with transforming the USA into a Woke tyranny of race-and-gender hustling and the endless extortion of cash penalties for the crime of whiteness. What cat-turd box of Satan’s own law school are the leaders of this despotic hysteria hatched from: Pelosi, Swalwell, Adam Schiff, Schumer, and their accessories in media and tech, Jack, Zuck, Cook, and Bezos, and their numberless priests in higher ed? How much longer will it be before the substantial and obdurately not-insane of this country refuse to roll over for these rampaging maniacs?

I, being of sound mind and gifted with a small slice of logic, refuse to capitulate to the insanity rampant in the liberal minds of today. As the great philosopher Kung Fu once said, “go fuck yourself whining morons”.

Crying and whining fails to change a thing the American people let this happen because they are to lazy to get their big lazy ass’s off the couch to do anything, yes its easy to sit and type some words on a keyboard and say yes I did my share, but that won’t change a thing. A start would be simply quit buying, buying nothing except to survive no new cars T.V. or anything else and bring this government down, starve the beast until it dies will be a damn good start.!!!

I’m under the impression that people, in particular the Deplorables, in the States are being forced not to buy anything. The economy among the elites, if we measure it by the stock market, is completely divorced from that of the rest of society. Everyone else is forced to stay home and do nothing, not even Tweet if they have the wrong opinion.
Edward Snowden warned us that the US had a “turn-key tyranny” waiting for the right moment. This was in the planning for quite a long time. The folks that voted for Biden (and we will neve know what the actual percentage was but I know a lot of people who did) still seem to believe in the good intentions of these criminal elite, not realizing that they will be cast into the same pit as the rest as soon as their services are no longer needed.
The only hope as I see it is in what The Saker calls “Zone B.” In terms of surveillance, TPTB have too much control over everyone else. Same thing happening in Australia, UK, New Zealand and most of Europe. Japan, sitting on the fence, has been spared so far. You’re getting the top-down control of the CCP without the bothersome Confucian concern for the welfare of the lower classes. The Confucian aspects of Japanese society, with a well-defined social contract, may be what’s keeping the fraudsters from implementing terror here, but The Saker still classifies Japan as “Zone A” because of its appearance of going along with the West. Japan, where I am, may succumb eventually (the now-empowered tyrants in the US were very very sneaky), but the government still seems to think they need to care what the citizens think, and it will become increasingly hard to hide the cruelty, as Jim aptly called it, occurring in Zone A countries.

A Japanese Patriarch involved in the Olympics was forced to apologize and resign after saying women talked too much. A very bad sign of a the coming shift.

          • Pat Ormsby February 13, 2021 at 1:19 am #

Yes, and it really looks a lot like color revolution tactics, where you conscript a bunch of young people to get all upset over a few issues of vague import and demand “de-mockeracy,” as someone downthread put it. Part of the background here is former Prime Minister Mori has been favorable toward Russia. I think what is going on is the Mad Resetters want to exclude Russia from the Olympics again and humiliate any of their athletes who do show up. I’m wondering why they think bitch-slapping Russia again is going to help them. Probably something to rally the clueless around again like the hapless Navalny in a new attempt at a color revolution.
The Japanese are very good at lip service, having endured prolonged tyrannies in the past. Because America is the bigger bully at this time, on the surface they’ll comply, but there will be considerable resistance beneath that.
Tomorrow they will approve Pfizer’s so-called “vaccine” for use in Japan. It will be interesting to see how that goes, and how the public here responds to it. The news cheerleads vaccines, but I don’t see the public clamoring for them.

Crying and whining fails to change a thing with the people, worldwide

          Humans follow their instinct, too;

As long as they are able to fill their cars with fuel, lubricants, and light on their places – they prefer to keep that organisation going over demolishing it, unconsciously appreciating how difficult securing all those Energy supplies.

The problem is that “Energy, like time, flows from past to future“, though.

That is we needed more Ghawars (a giant oil field in production since 1947), and we needed them to start production a decade or two ago.

          That didn’t happen, unfortunately.

It might be that implies we would be playing a silly, very stupid and self-destructing musical-chairs game between ourselves – god forbid.

    Nice piece.

One of the more cruel and unfathomable of “Biden’s” edicts was to cancel the Trump decision to allow most physicians to prescribe a drug which is extremely effective in treating heroin addiction.

Biden Fumbles Early on Opioid Addiction
He rolls back a Trump reform to increase access to treatment.

It’s as if they want to erase every last vestige of the Trump era, no matter who it kills.

This was not a partisan issue, Hillary Clinton also listened to the affected families back in 2016 and promised to do whatever she could to help.

    • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 11:49 am #

I’m predicting there will be a lot of headlines with the same first two words in coming months (Biden Fumbles).

I recall Bush doing the same with Clinton’s policies. Reminds me of dogs marking their territory.

JHK is correct, they are sadists.

“But never just Biden” Ask a speaker of Mandarin if they know who “Buy Dung?” is, they will most likely recognize exactly who you are referring to. This term pronounced in conventional English matches the Mandarin pronunciation of “Biden”

          • Pat Ormsby February 12, 2021 at 7:13 pm #

Biden transliterates into Japanese as “sell the rice fields.” You can ponder the significance.

” One of the more cruel and unfathomable of “Biden’s” edicts was to cancel the Trump decision to allow most physicians to prescribe a drug which is extremely effective in treating heroin addiction.”

Along those lines, A topic That JHK has written extensively about, namely the insane degree of price obfuscation and secret deal making that takes place between health insurance companies and hospitals, In today’s Wall Street Journal, an article highlights a Trump administration rule that took effect in January that forces hospitals to disclose the prices of different procedures. Typically, the industry sued to prevent this rule from ever seeing the light of day. You can be sure that the Harris / Biden administration will quickly act to quash this reform.

        • Uncle Bob February 13, 2021 at 8:59 am #

Glenn Beck told a story several weeks ago that many of the doorknobs in the White House were showing wear, so they were supposed to be replaced. Trump said he’d take care of it. Out of his own pocket, Trump paid for new gold doorknobs for the entire White House. During the transition, it came out that Beijing/Kyiv Joe was going to get rid of the new doorknobs during the few hours between when the Trumps left and the Buy-dens moved in. In his opinion, they’re trying to erase everything Trump did and restore the old ways, as you said — sort of like how the Egyptians, starting with his immediate successor King Tut, tried to erase Akhenaten after his death, including restoring the old religion Akhenaten had scrapped. Kind of sounds like what’s going on in Washington these days, doesn’t it? And like Tut, Biden is infirm, has a fucked-up family, and has ambitious people who can’t wait to get rid of him so they can impose their will on the country, including making damn sure we can’t try anything different than the Woke way and marginalizing anyone who’d want to.

          • Blackbird February 13, 2021 at 12:25 pm #

And like Tut, the Big Guy will be much more popular 3,000 years from now.

    • SW February 12, 2021 at 1:07 pm #

And while he was robo-signing executive orders, he also rolled back reducing the cost of insulin and the epipen stating “there were numerous lawsuits pending” (no doubt by the drug companies that saw their profits drop) so back to full price, folks, until the lawsuits are “resolved.”

And every person that facial recognition can identify, or their kids turn in, will be prosecuted for desecrating the Capitol. Here’s a great example:

“Two-time Olympic gold medal swimmer Klete Keller was indicted on seven different charges on Thursday in connection with his alleged involvement in the riots at the U.S. Capitol last month, according to USA Today. Keller, per the Washington Post, could face more than 15 years in prison.”

Obviously, a dangerous man and AOC will be safer with him in prison.

      • Uncle Bob February 13, 2021 at 9:02 am #

AOC would be safer if she were to see an orthodontist, and if she were to get a good seized cucumber. Might calm her down while making her mouth less terrifying (though neither does anything about her voice, her soul, or her dead, hate-filled eyes).

Bobby Jr. got himself kicked off Instagram. I thought Instagram was about pictures.

Why does a site to post pictures have a position on vaccines, and how would they know?

        • Bilejones@hotmail.com February 12, 2021 at 3:50 pm #

Bobby jr has actually done some excellent work in the vaccine field. The first of the first of his ilk to do so.
I think Kunstler here has it backwards
” leaders of this despotic hysteria hatched from: Pelosi, Swalwell, Adam Schiff, Schumer, and their accessories in media and tech, Jack, Zuck, Cook, and Bezos”

          He’s confusing cause and effect.

    • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 11:13 am #

Especially odd given that RFK, Jr. is very pro-vaccine.

It’s almost as if he is operating as controlled opposition.

Kicking people off social media gives them more street cred.

      • Bull Gator February 12, 2021 at 11:36 am #

Don’t know what planet you are on but RFK Jr. is most definitely not pro-vaccine. Perhaps you have been reading to much anti-vaxer literature.

        • Beryl of Oyl February 12, 2021 at 11:51 am #

          Oh but he is.
He is also very pro-vaccine safety.

I don’t know how you can be pro-vaccine without caring about safety.

        • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 12:06 pm #

He said it in a video I watched. Emphatically. Said he’s vaxxed his kids, etc. He only questions the number of them.

          • Beryl of Oyl February 12, 2021 at 12:17 pm #

I’m finding out that many people aren’t aware of the massive increase in the number of vaccinations given to children, even in infancy.

            I know I wasn’t.

Bobby also questions the commitment to safety of some of the manufacturers, based on their track records.

I checked out some of his claims myself, and they are confirmed by other sources.

          • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 12:37 pm #

I also listen sometimes to Dr. Shiva, and he and RFK, Jr. are at war… suing and libeling each other.

Dr. Shiva revealed RJK, Jr.’s two-times endorsement of Hillary Clinton, as well as his emphatic belief in the efficacy of vaccines.

I have also been a fan of RFK, Jr.’s work; however, I am seeing that he does run in the same circles as the people he’s opposing. But he’s really not opposing them, only on the COVID19 vaxx. Which I find odd.

Shiva refers to RFK, Jr. and those like him as the ‘not so obvious establishment’. I see his point. So I will be watching the Children’s Defense Fund with a more critical eye.

But not fight for it, right? Cuz that would be wrong. American history clearly shows the Indians just surrendered peacefully to their new status as underlings.

All Nations are established by Force. All. And maintained? By Force. All.

The Indians fought. They lost. We’re the Indians now. Will we fight – at all?

          • Tate February 12, 2021 at 1:04 pm #

If it’s wrong to fight for a smaller piece of real estate, then why not go all in & fight for the whole enchilada?

Hint: both are fantasies. Whites aren’t going to fight for ‘their’ survival because ‘they’ don’t even recognize themselves as a people (for the most part).

          • Ron Anselmo February 12, 2021 at 3:34 pm #

Very well said Janos. Hopefully we’ll fight.

Without question, some will, myself included, but there needs to be a sufficient numbers to turn the tide.

Witness the Battle of the Little Bighorn – outgunned and under equipped, but the overwhelming number of Sioux prevailed.

The beauty was that the Sioux had taken so much up to that point, that they took no prisoners. I’d suggest the same.

OK, I’m on the “extremist” list. So what.

JHK – “In other words, you are not dealing with a mere extreme type of moralist, but rather dedicated sadists. They’re not in it to correct injustice, but for the pleasures of vengeance alone, the torturing of their quarry, and the glow of power it confers.”

The sentences above accurately describe Antifa, BLM, the dem leadership in their handling of all affairs Trumpian (and by extension, those who may have ever associated with or supported him).

Now that they have the upper hand they are wasting no time in showing us their true feelings for the population, and running a victory lap with paddles, spanking the “enemy” gleefully as they pass. Talk about kicking someone when they’re down…which, by the way, Antifa and BLM are on video being experts in this category, literally.

This seems to be the truth with a lot of people, as harsh as it sounds. Some of my friends in the proverbial intelligentsia are rational in almost all fields of thought, fun, humorous and easy to get along with. Unless politics is mentioned, in which case they are basically angry parrots, quick to absolutely (and smugly) trash any other viewpoint or anyone who may hold said viewpoint.

In short, they turn into the very bullies that they wokely claim to despise. Why people keep voting the petty Pelosis of the country into office is beyond me.

I’ve mentioned before that my solution is to avoid such topics with them and just enjoy our time together on good footing. The problem is that an entire country can’t maintain that type of intentionally balanced relationship.

    • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 11:17 am #

Well said. I wonder if Pelosi et al are even voted in? Elections are all fixed it would seem. If not at the voting booth, then with the blackmailing and bribery and threats to opposition etc. The Dems are especially good at this. Many nobodies who have attempted to run have been ‘taken out’ of the running by coercion or worse, in recent years.

Biden also wants to disinfrancise biological females in sports. Yeah, let’s have the transgenders who are biological males (I could care less what they think their gender is) take over women’s sports. Nothing like some man putting a tie in their hair and proclaiming themselves a female. Being treated fairly doesn’t mean you treat a entire class of folks unfairly. What’s wrong with male, female and trans sports as classifications. Biden, you suck bigly.

    • JohnAZ February 12, 2021 at 10:36 am #

Because if they cannot compete against biological females, they lose their advantage. They use their ability to cheat. So why trans.

Biden just killed a plan initiated by Trump to help opioid addiction. Now I know the scum in,DC are not fighting the drug culture, they are supporting it. Admission of the cartels to DC polity is next. Without the illicit trades, DC is broke. Jeff Epstein’s legacy and the Intel community own this country today.

      And the people want it!

      • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 11:46 am #

Yes. I saw where this one bloke was 200th in his chosen sport, among other men. So he put his hair in pigtails and zoomed to #1 against his fellow females… head-spinning insanity at work these days.

        • Yohannon February 12, 2021 at 1:00 pm #

No, hormones checks or mandatory surgery? Make him sacrifice for “his” sport.

          • tresho February 12, 2021 at 2:42 pm #

The only solution for this sports issue is for DNA-based females to totally boycott competitions which admit DNA-based males to compete with them. There is probably a federal law which prohibits such “collusion” or “conspiracy”, though.

There are a lot of masculine women. Most of them very heavy and though strong, not otherwise athletic. What is their function in Nature? As worker insect types? I assume in the old days most got married though I can’t imagine how any man could consent to such a thing. The desperation of the naturally coarse? But men don’t do such things now for the most part, and thus such women are being bred out of the gene pool.

They are probably happier as Lesbians in any case.

JAZ, heroin and other opioid use has been legalized in Oregon; why would lefties support measures to fight addiction, when they are promoting addiction?

        • Ron Anselmo February 12, 2021 at 4:23 pm #

Yes BRH. They are promoting addiction. That was the real reason we went to Afghanistan. Afghanistan supplies the vast majority of the world’s opium & heroin.

Before we got there, in the early 2000’s, the Taliban, who were against production on religious grounds, had it down to about 800 metric tons. Of course the story went that the drug trade supported their terrorist ambitions. Nothing further from the truth.

Not surprisingly, within a year of American troops in Afghanistan, and under their watchful eye, production soared to 6200 metric tons, after the Taliban was routed.

So the trade was reestablished and used for pocket money for off-the-books funding of CIA and other alphabet organizations to finance & conduct black ops – some probably skimmed to DC also.

        • JohnAZ February 12, 2021 at 6:23 pm #

Not fight addiction, promote addiction. Trump wanted to allow MDs a drug to help counter addiction. That is what Biden killed.

The Dems are really sick puppies.

Think about it though, if you want a nice quiet subservient serf class, might as well get them addicted, they will follow you anywhere for a hit.

One other thing, the Chinese have never forgiven the opium epidemic the Europeans put them into in the 1800s. Hooking the West would be sweet for them.

          • benr February 13, 2021 at 10:23 am #

Yes John the Chinese for sure are in revenge mode for the opium wars.
Hence why they push so much fentanyl
There was a pretty wide margin of countries that made the Chinese eat shit for about 100 years at the top of that list is Japan who warred on them for centuries.

          • Amman February 15, 2021 at 2:05 pm #

The strategy of Chinese state power to US power is formless. Thus it cannot be detected or confronted. In contrast, Opium and dervatives was always a Euro-Triad game. A huge business, yes, but hardly Chinese statecraft.

    • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 11:18 am #

      Agree 100%.

What can we say about a man whose first EO is to destroy women’s sports?

My mom just got her shot this morning. She’s very excited and relieved to be on the path to guaranteed health.

            I hope she’s right.

But I plan to wait as long as is absolutely possible. Pretty soon I’ll have to, unless I want to live isolated with the curtains drawn, all errands delivered to the doorstep, watching netflix on my phone under the bed.

But maybe the current massive beta test on the public will have run its course by then and any ‘troublesome” shots will have been rooted out. I don’t hold out much hope for that though.

          • Yohannon February 12, 2021 at 1:01 pm #

One dim ray of hope is that the dollar becomes worthless thru hyperinflation before the bastards can carry out their satanic agenda. Without functioning money, they can’t pay their minions and the wheels fall off their little red wagon.

But alas, I suspect they’ve got a plan for that – crypto currency, everybody’s new darling.

Admittedly, my understanding of money dates back to trading whiskey for beaver skins with the Indians.

But to my simple mind the crypto’s look like imaginary money created on a computer. They have value only so long as the rubes believe.

          • JohnAZ February 12, 2021 at 6:34 pm #

            Think about this.

Get everyone hooked on crypto currencies, substitute Bitcoins for dollars, sell the public on the goodness of it and the public is financially connected to what the government wants by computer manipulation. If they they can sneak the Dominion Smartmatic election fraud into us and then pull the wool over 150 million eyes, manipulation crypto money should be a snap.

The globalists will love it, they can manipulate nation to nation economies at Davos every year without any local input.

If there is a crypto war, watch out, the wealth of the nation may just disappear.

Stay away from computers where human input is required, and economics is number one on the list.

          • tuco22 February 13, 2021 at 2:05 am #

Yes, I agree. They know there isn’t enough money to fulfill all the promises they made to everyone, so they have to eliminate a whole swath of people. The “vaccine” is the perfect way to do that. Kind of reminds me of I Am Legend, although the premise is different. The Deagle Report predicts greater than a 75 million mortality rate by 2025. That’s just about the time Apophis will become visible in the sky. Apophis is the name NASA gave to this asteroid that’s about 4 football fields wide that’s projected to hit earth in 2029 in the Pacific area. They say that it will become visible in the sky around 2025.

This kind of silliness only works if you play on their field. After all, a man sitting on top of a mountain top has little to fear from a fleet of Dreadnaughts.

If you live in the real world of real world production (producing goods and services) then you have little to fear from these lunatics.

I lived in Chicago on the north side for 10 years. Once I drove the local roads out to Oak Park, which took me through the west side. I couldn’t even believe what I was seeing. It was terrifying. I’m guessing it’s much worse now. Once ended up in a neighborhood on the south side by accident too, they had no sidewalks and a dirt road and people were literally in rags, it was like suddenly transporting into some 3d world country.

          • butter56 February 12, 2021 at 5:14 pm #

We know about the st Valentine’s Day massacre because it was unusual. It happens so often now in Chicago it barely registers. They may pass gum control laws but they will be largely ignored. Local LE will not enforce them at least in red and rural areas. It will be much like prohibition and drug laws, unenforceable. The feds don’t have the manpower to enforce it. The entire US Marine Corps could not have enforced the old 55 MPH speed limit.

During Katrina, the National Guard went to people’s homes confiscating guns even as gangs were shooting up the city. The Establishment wants maximum chaos, and massive crime is part of that. The Masonic “Ordo Ab Chao” or Order out of Chaos is the Plan here. The New Order. The Phoenix from the Ashes of the old world.

          • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 4:41 pm #

          • Ron Anselmo February 12, 2021 at 5:02 pm #

Janos, it was Blackwater, nka XE, in order to remain even more opaque, the private security contractor headed up by Erik Prince, first boots on the ground after Katrina, that were going door-to-door confiscating weapons – Feds prohibited.

In addition the enriching Blackwater, that was a little game-planned exercise, like the entire Katrina response, to see what the response was, to confiscation.

Homeowner’s, outgunned, had little choice other than to surrender their weapons to men dressed in black, armed to the teeth. Not so surprising really.

Here’s the far more ominous observation – they watched the response of people outside the area of operations, to the heavy-handed, unconstitutional seizure of legally-owned weapons. Not a f**king peep. From anyone. A bad omen.

So the observation, so noted, was that we can take weapons from a limited area & population, without worrying about other outsiders interfering.

I remind the NRA of this every time they call looking for money. I’ve asked numerous times to have Wayne LaPierre call me back and explain the NRA’s silence then, but I’m still waiting.

          • butter56 February 12, 2021 at 5:16 pm #

          • Yohannon February 12, 2021 at 10:15 pm #

Amazing. I’ve never heard this before. Some of the gun owners had to go to court to get their property back too.

          • Ron Anselmo February 13, 2021 at 12:06 am #

Janos, there is a site fromthewilderness.net, owned and formerly operated by Mike Ruppert, now deceased, that had real time coverage of the Katrina response. I read his work daily at the time, Ruppert had incredible investigative & analytical abilities, as well as access to some intelligence assets.

The site has been inactive since 11/7/06, but all his (their) work is archived if you’ve any interest in digging into it. Catherine Austin Fitts was instrumental in sourcing a good deal of information and content for the site.

My personal opinion is that the entire response to Katrina was a game-planned exercise on a few levels. The aforementioned gun confiscation was one. Also, the purposefully delayed response to gauge the timeframe for societal breakdown.

Twenty-four hours – people still in shock. Thirty-six hours – people running low on food & water, getting restless. Forty-eight hours – people start looting stores. Seventy-two hours – people preying upon each other for resources.

So, noted that civilized society, left to fend for itself, without resources, has a seventy-two hour tipping point for complete societal breakdown, Good for TPTB to know.

Ruppert also wrote one of the best books I’ve ever read, Crossing the Rubicon, detailing how Peak Oil was identified from the earliest days of the neo-con Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld administration, and we needed an event (problem-reaction-solution) to warrant putting our military footprint in the Middle East to secure oil for the US.

Ruppert’s acute analysis, extensively documented and footnoted, makes an incredibly compelling argument that 9-11 was that event. The book is captivating & an excellent read.

Following JHK forever, it was Peak Oil that turned me on to Crossing the Rubicon in the first place. Read it, it’s an eye-opener and well worth the time spent.

          • Ron Anselmo February 13, 2021 at 12:17 am #

            Another observation on Katrina.

Certain people started to realize that they were on their own, and became responsible and resourceful.

After not too long, wide open, grassy highway medians – easily defendable because of being able to see trouble coming, became sites of encampments of people independently self-organizing for the common good.

Men building shelter, providing security and looking for resources, women cooking and tending to children. Teens helping wherever needed.

Lo and behold, these independent encampments were busted up by the Feds and people splintered and dispersed. Can’t have any of that — people independently self-organizing are a threat to the system — don’t you know?

      • Jigplate February 12, 2021 at 12:40 pm #

“I truly hope this is what will happen. They are now trying to take the guns away… HR 127 I believe? I wonder how that will play out?”

How it will play out, is a massive civil disobedience campaign. Really, what will they do when 25 million gun owners refuse to comply? This has already occurred in New York when Cuomo rammed through the “Safe Act”, which required the registration of semi-automatic rifles. The compliance rate was in the high single digits. How many people in America know that? probably not many.

        • Beryl of Oyl February 12, 2021 at 12:46 pm #

How many people know that Cuomo withheld data on all those old people he killed, because he thought prosecutors would use it to, well, prosecute him?

How many people know that nearly wide-open Florida is doing much better in terms of managing the virus than the state with perhaps the most egregious “restrictions”?

What I think they will do is simply stop any government payments people have coming such as social security, etc, until they turn them in. Everyone who has bought a gun is registered with the feds anyway, so all they’d have to do is cross-check gun owners that haven’t turned in their guns with the social security database or whatever. Obummer sicced the IRS on people and organizations during his administration; Biden probably will do the same. For those not getting government money, there’s always licensure suspension or revocation-driver’s license, professional license, even fishing license. This was brought about by Clinton in the Deadbeat Dad’s law.

You make no sense. You want to give control of this economy to a bunch of nincompoops that have failed at everything in their lives.

Capitalism breeds individualism and non-dependence. Yes, it’s major drawback is survival of the fittest leads to monopoly and corporate domination. Why cannot the government work on controlling this, say with a progressive adaptable income tax to recycle the money supply into small business. The disaster of capitalism happens when the corporations lose competition from up and coming companies. The tax advantages and subsidies given to the too big to fail corporations cause this, ie the government causes the domination of the corporate world.

So why should we give more power to that government.

          • Yohannon February 12, 2021 at 7:53 pm #

The Corporations are the Government. Get rid of “Governments” and they will rule you directly and even more ruthlessly. The only solution would be strong government of OUR OWN. What if it goes bad? Yup, no guarantees about this or getting Covid. LIfe is risk, John.

          • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 7:58 pm #

@Yohannon thanks for clarifying. I agree with that as well. The corporations can’t be allowed to be/run the government and that is exactly why we are where we are.

          • JohnAZ February 12, 2021 at 9:36 pm #

Easy to say, hard to do.

How do you get rid of the government or corporations? We tried Trump to decrease the Deep State in 2016, we now know how that worked. Now we elected a Deep State that is so horrific, I do not believe America will survive it.

So how do we get a government in place and eradicate corporations and encourage the creation of small business.

            Nazi Germany worked from corporations.

Well one must have clarity or you’re on an endless repeat. Go back to the 50’s? Or do you want the 70’s? Both were very corrupt times that lead us to where we are now.

Fascism and National Socialism have no problem with Capitalism and Corporation – they guide them. As does China. As does Japan. It works. It’s the way – along with small and medium sized businesses and of course a healthy dose of Socialism as well.

Politicians take an Oath. At least theoretically they can be made to live up to them or gotten rid of. Owners, managers, stock holders? You won’t even know who they are.

I know it’s a risk. But everything is. What we are doing now isn’t a risk, it’s a certainty – a bad one.

It would behoove red states–especially low/no tax states– to make citizenship conditional on new residents paying taxes at the same rate they did in their former state for three years. This might deter “economic” refugees who bring with them the bad ideas that ruined their former states.

As a retiree who doesn’t much give a damn about what others think, it’s easy for me to defy these people. I don’t stand to be ruined professionally and I’m old enough to be regarded as harmless, rather than risk being fined or imprisoned.

Nonetheless, I offer this observation: the Wokesters have been permitted to put us on the defensive. At the first suggestion that we may have transgressed some redefined new boundary we cower in abject apology, in hopes of defusing their wrath.

Instead, we must defend our rational turf. When accused of taking a position of which they disapprove we must get in their face and stand by our convictions with no apology.

Individually these people are not formidable; they derive their courage from their pack. Before balance can be restored to society we must reassert ourselves with them one-on-one.

    • JohnAZ February 12, 2021 at 10:54 am #

We must learn to ignore the screaming and put the violent ones in jail. Also, everyone should boycott the big corporations and shop small business locally. The corporation are globalist, they want that Chinese market. They owe no allegiance to the US. America First was an anathema to them.

      • tresho February 12, 2021 at 2:46 pm #

Some are forced to use the Chinese market, such as health care facilities that must buy and use N95 masks for their personnel. Totally inadequate and insecure domestic supplies are the rule now.

I wish I could shop locally. I live in a ghost town of boarded up store fronts. At one time, everything you needed could be bought here. Groceries, quality clothing, guns, ammo, jewelry, toys for the kids, literally everything. There was an industrial park with several factories that employed hundreds. Now its just a few warehouses and one factory that makes rolls of stuff used for erosion control that pays next to nothing, all the textile factories that made clothing went first. The biggest employer is a peanut processing mill as it is a small agriculturally based town with most of the jobs left related to farming. Once there were five grocers, now just one that is locally owned through a franchise. Most people with anything resembling a decent paying job must drive 50 to 100 miles a day, out of town. At least the housing here is more affordable. The few nearby towns with a better job market are ridiculously expensive to live in. We are slowly being overwhelmed with immigrants from India, Mexico, Central America, Asians of all stripes. Lots of Haiitians imported for the big factory farms as the small family farms are going extinct. Anyone remember the Steppenwolf song “Monster”.

They tested the waters a few weeks ago on all the McMedia outlets, suggsting two, three, and then four masks by Friday that week.

In Japan, everyone wears masks, and have for several decades due to severe pollinosis for several months a year, poor air quality and keeping their throat moist and nose warm when they have a cold. Very little resistance to masking here. They all see it as a decent way to stop large boogers from flying across the room should you suddenly sneeze or cough, i.e., etiquette during a time when people are still worried about this disease. When you bring up double-masking, though, they point their index finger at their temple and shake their head. They all know a mask is not going to stop transmission by microparticles, not would two or three unless you cut off breathing entirely.
America has been driven stark raving mad.

          • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 8:00 pm #

Yes, froggie is about boiled thru at this point…

        • JohnAZ February 12, 2021 at 7:21 pm #

Double masking is a total political joke. The mask is to block spit! Not to block viruses. Putting two on is stupid. And only wear one when you cannot socially distance.

BTW, social distancing is not only six feet, it is knowing who you need to be apart from.

Also, denying the transmission of the virus in schools is also really dumb. Kids, with their active and adaptable immune systems, see thymus gland, laugh off this virus. Think about what the “experts”are saying right now. You get the vaccine, you still need to do mitigation because you can still catch mild case of the crud and spread it. It can set up residency in your nose or throat for a few days before you kill it and spread in your spit. So why are kids so exempt from this? They are not! In spite of the “studies”. Kids do spread this crud, but not as much as young and middle aged adults. Why? Because their hyperactive immune systems kill it quickly. It hangs on in adults. Mitigate wisely and get the kids back to school.

Right now, the back to school surge, no.3, is now coming under control because herd immunity is approaching due to asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic cases. Thanks kids for getting the 80% estimated asymptomatic cases into the community so that community immunity happens.

          Just like the flu.

Take care of the most sick, and mitigate sensibly, what is behind the Florida success story.

For those of you who actually watch the trends, in almost all states the mini surges from Thanksgiving and Christmas are both evident on the main surge no. 3. Trivial, but remember what a bunch of BS that Fauci and the CDC put out about it.

The CDC and Fauci need to be condemned for the road they took us down and relieved of duty. They and their Deep State sponsors have just about destroyed the small business of the US. Much to the delight of the Democrats.

The key, mitigate wisely and go back to work. And school.

I don’t believe “COVID19” exists, except as a massive co-ordinated global marketing campaign.

They simply rebranded the naturally occurring yearly coronavirus. Easy peasy. Then they started the testing/cases bullshit, after that. But no more people died than in other years.

The numbers were the same for 2019 as 2020… until the CDC started fudging. Now suddenly they’ve found 400K bodies.

Sepsis disappeared. The flu disappeared. Cancer disappeared. Pneumonia disappeared.

I guess we should check the census, that seems to still be accurrate…

          • JohnAZ February 12, 2021 at 9:15 pm #

Covid exists, many around me have gotten it, most lightly, a few seriously. Two relatives of friends have died.

The big question I have is how many of the cases are colds, the flu, or what? Most of the people who died in 1918 died from a bacterial infection causing pneumonia. Do all the folks admitted in the hospitals get correctly diagnosed with Covid?

I do not know about you. I plan on using this experience to try to avoid ever getting viruses. Regardless of which one. Social distancing for example is a staple of Asian cultures, bow instead of shaking hands or hugging. Their societies probably found out long ago that contact spreads disease.

Vaccines for 50% plus to avoid severe disease. Works for the flu, I have had one since I was in the Navy in 1967. It should work for Covid. I would much rather get a post vaccine case of either disease than the real McCoy.

            But that is me.

John, I was sick once a month with a respiratory bug in Tokyo for a while, from riding on the trains. It’s too crowded here even for social distancing to do much good.
After I learned about the role of electromagnetic fields in immune system dysfunction and took control over that in my environment, my cold frequency went back to about once a year, with quick recovery, and now with vitamin D supplementation, practically never, and I teach children, some 40% of whom have a cold at any given time, with no problem.

Separated from family, separated from friends, separated from easy recreation, separated from gatherings of faith, and most importantly, separated from the elderly…who actually have experience and wisdom, and know for damn sure that this isn’t the way the world is supposed to work. Stick ’em in a facility and only allow mintored visits through glass via cell phone.

Their plan is amazingly well thought out. Just can’t believe the majority has fallen for it, and will continue to do so. Fauci could come out tomorrow and reveal all, saying “it was all a big social experiment (which it clearly is), you can go back to your previous normal lives now”, and most wouldn’t believe it. They are invested in the story.

I believe it was Pompeo who came out in January 2020 saying Covid was just an exercise gone live.

The world-wide wearing of masks reminds me of the dystopian writer in 1890 who wrote “The Worker”. All workers had to wear masks and it caused a giant mindfuck to the people to enforce conformity:

“The Worker” would be a good book club recommendation where lively discussions could take place.

        • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 8:04 pm #

I don’t wear a mask, and I’m usually the only one without one. Sometimes they pester me and I say “I’m exempt” and walk away. So far so good.

Cancel culture is unadulterated BS. It is a way to get the minorities to hate the White American culture. It is a product of rage Deep State in its drive to subjugate the American people.

Get it? The American people, the globalists have to subjugate us to remove the US as no. 1. The Dems and RINOs are just their soldiers. Treasonous soldiers.

        • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 8:07 pm #

I know more about cancel culture and the trans agenda and antiracism and critical race theory BS than probably anyone up here, as I’ve been battling its proponents (especially the trans agenda ones) for 3 years now. I tried helping friends in the Green Party fend it off from taking them over, to no avail. It is insidious and if people think it doesn’t ruin lives… they don’t know what’s going on.

The trans agenda is bolstered by big pharma whose goal is patients for life. Trans them young, get those operations and then be dependent on hormone therapy for the rest of their lives. Insidious and horrid.

And yes: The goal of cancel culture is to shut up everyone who counters the authoritarian narrative.

Wow Thanks Mary V. I have been wondering about the transgender agenda for years. I could never find an answer. My friend said it was the deep state’s way of ruining the family. That didn’t make sense. Big Pharma does. Kind of like Big Tobacco did with candy and gum cigarettes for children back in the day. Although this is on a much bigger scale.

    • Yohannon February 12, 2021 at 1:13 pm #

Uh, no. The Revolution has proceeded from the Head downwards. They don’t just have the universities who formed these people, they have the military and the police.

Generations ago, Little Rock schools were desegregated by force after Whites resisted. Army bayonets were used on American citizens. The “radicals” wanted to shut America down in protest. The were correct. That was the time where we could have turned this around.

      • JohnAZ February 12, 2021 at 8:01 pm #

There is a difference between equal opportunity and equal outcome. Our inalienable right is the pursuit of happiness, not happiness. Any American citizen must have equal access to avenues of economic progression. What they do with it is up to them, if they succeed , more power to them, if they fail, so be it. Right now it seems the American culture “favors” the successful regardless of ethnicity. It is the gimmes, the losers, that are trying to steal from those who do succeed. They now have a government to accomplish their criminality.

A man steals from a store or breaks into your house and steals your TV. Not much different is the man who steals from you through government taxation to give to the gimmes.

This country has been unbelievably generous to our people, and people around the world. The government has evolved into the Den of Thieves.

      • Tate February 12, 2021 at 8:48 pm #

The material progress created by Western Civ has caused the entire world’s population to explode, while at the same time the West’s population growth itself has drastically slowed.

        • MrMangoOnMyShoulder February 12, 2021 at 9:16 pm #

          I’ll grant you that.

Okay, I can’t answer for him, only give you my opinion whether you asked for it or not, heh. But the undeveloped world’s population growth has been at its root entirely due to western material progress.

Whether we can stabilize or reverse the population growth curve worldwide seems to come down to sub-Saharan Africa. If you go to undeveloped countries all over the world & talk to the young women, they seem to understand the need of having less children — with one exception, sub-Saharan Africa.

All the Right has to do is boycott the Left, stop the cancel culture by ignoring it, boycott the Leftist corporations, learn from what the Left does to control society.

Remember the Minutemen at the border a few years ago? There is lots of fencing raw materials at the border, go build it. Use Texas to protect the construction. Take the jerks to court, make sanctuary states to protect the Bill of Rights. Do whatever you can to block what the Dems are doing.

Capitalist man is an utter scumbag. The idea of hiring another White man and paying him a living wage is simply unbearable to them.

Some will point to their neighbors and say, He’s doing it. I have to in order to keep up. This is actually a good point. It could be a moral cop out in some cases, but the general Truth remains. This kind of problem must be solved by State policy, not individual moral choice. Because people are in competition, and one who doesn’t have to pay a fair wage gets a decisive advantage.

This is mind blowing stuff to most. You mean there has to be a referee so that the competition is fair and it doesn’t devolve into crime, poverty, ruin, and war? That we’re in a civil polity and our neighbor isn’t our enemy? That we should treat him better than we treat an illegal alien?

Until the border is sealed, and the ingress of labor is metered, this country will go to the lowest bidder. It is the reversal of the working class in the Rust Belt in 2020 that is going to destroy much of what is left of their world. Keystone is just the beginning.

5c chucker @10:36: Totally agree. Make them come out to play to “enforce” their dictums. Last I checked, there approximately 678,000 law enforcement officials on duty (2019). Attrit 10% of a force and any threat evaporates. Will NOT be necessary with law enforcement, as most are conservative, moral Americans, with massive distaste for the socialist tribe. Number is to show how small entire police force is, if anyone wanted to freak out as to they’d be “use” against us.
If necessary, Selective culling of Said tribe will reduce the duration of time in “power” to an “augenblink”, with no stomach for continuation. Without outsiders to enforce their “will” upon us, not possible to continue. Individuals with no dog in the fight (outside force), will NOT proceed if cost-benefits not in their favor. SEE above re: attrit.
Most deliciously, to continue exerting any power, that tribe can only attack blue cities. There, they can visit all manner of evil upon the masses of wokesteres. Put drones up. I’ll pay to view.

White Privilege in Action: President Biden’s ICE Halts Deportation of Criminal African Migrants “Due to Black History Month”.

  18. MaryV February 12, 2021 at 11:31 am #

Yesterday the Wokesters took out a movie actress for making an astute observation, comparing the beginning of the Holocaust and how the Jews’ own neighbors attacked them (with photo of proof of it), with the Karen type snitching Americans are now being instructed to do with regard to Covid19 and daring to defy a Wokester/SJW/Cancel Culture diktat.

She did so eloquently, and lost her job, and was roundly attacked, two-minutes-hate style, by the LibDems/Wokesters.

Come to find out, this woman also had stood up to the Trans Agenda, earlier, so I guess that sealed her fate. She dared to list her pronouns as Beep Bop Boop or somesuch, for which I applaud her. The actress’s name is Gina Carano. In the long run, she will look like the sane voice in a sea of idiots and sadists.

I love JHK’s description of the wokeness scourge. Best one I’ve seen so far.

Getting kicked off the Pirates franchise could be the best thing to happen to Johnny Depp. Since Disney made him a superstar, Depp seems to have forgotten how to act (and I used to consider him quite a talented actor). But I suspect that a raging narcissist with poor impulse control could never even consider the need for self-improvement.

        • NickelthroweR February 12, 2021 at 3:40 pm #

Depp, like the other Hollywood child actors, was passed around like reefer at a Grateful Dead concert. I think it is harder for the men that had to perform on the casting couch because it was a same sex event. Frankly, I can not think of a job that I want badly enough that I’d let some balding old fart have his way with me. Not true of Depp. Let that sink in.

So therefore, since he was abused, he deserves whatever else he gets now, from Amber Heard or outraged Wokies?

Yeah, there’s some real moral poverty going on here. Typical. During the Oscars two years ago (if memory serves), at the height of Me Too performances, they gave an award to a European film about male pedophilia. And what’s his name got an award too hiding over in France. The message from the Satanists? Make all the noise you want, nothing is going to change.

These idiot “woke” actors do not yet realize it but they’ve put themselves out of business.

See, CGI technology has reached a point where the Uncanny Valley (look it up) has been crossed and we can now make TV and Movies entirely inside of the box – 100% computer generated.

Instead of sitting on pins and needles waiting for some loose cannon to spout off something that offends half of your customers, you’ll have nice obedient computer generated characters that will never age, never OD on drugs and never insult the fan base.

This is the last generation of actors (thank God) and I can pretty much guarantee that within 5 years 100% of them will be out of work and no longer able to bother us.

      • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 12:14 pm #

Hmmmm…. what will all the sexual predators in Hwood do then? Half the reason they make the crap they put out now is to get fresh meat on the casting couch (including kids).

JHK asks: How much longer will it be before the substantial and obdurately not-insane of this country refuse to roll over for these rampaging maniacs?

President Trump, WITHIN TWO WEEKS in office reneged on his campaign promise to PUT HER IN JAIL. President Trump hired known swamp turds to be his Chiefs-of-Staff, like Reinhold Priebus, and they in turn hired other known swamp turds as AG and FBI chiefs, people like Sessions, Barr, Wray.

Nothing will change until people en mass insist and loudly protest for the Clinton/Obama criminals to be put in prison. That really should have been President Trump’s rallying cry at every rally he organized. Why he didn’t do that is very much suspect to my eyes.

That and other things are why I suspect he was controlled opposition. But of course I don’t know.

      • akmofo February 12, 2021 at 12:49 pm #

Trump was intimidated by some, persuaded by others, but largely he failed because he didn’t have a thought through organization and a plan. Trump relied mostly on his good instincts. He was shooting from the hip, reacting to situations that others have planned and created, rather than planning and creating winning situations for his agenda and its fait accompli.

        • JohnAZ February 12, 2021 at 9:49 pm #

He, with his ego, figured he could make a deal with everyone. He underestimated the absolute morass of scum the Swamp is and was ineffectual.

      • Tate February 12, 2021 at 1:34 pm #

        “controlled opposition.”

Not really. There’s no need for a conspiracy theory to explain it. When you control the culture, you control everything downstream of it, including politics. So Trump was (& is) working within the Left’s frame of reference & thus he unconsciously sabotaged everything he tried to do (with the help of his daughter & son-in-law.)

        • MaryV February 12, 2021 at 8:23 pm #

Controlled opposition is a tactic, not a conspiracy theory.

          • Tate February 12, 2021 at 9:22 pm #

You mean by “controlled opposition” you think he’s closely controlled? I find that unlikely.

But regardless, my point is that someone like Trump doesn’t have to be closely controlled. He’s already bought into the basic assumptions of the enemy, so when he has appealed to the instincts of the Deplorables out of political opportunism, he leaves himself vulnerable against the Left’s attacks that he is a “fascist” & a “racist.” Just like all cucks, he overcompensates to prove he’s not these things, coming up with ridiculous initiatives like the Platinum Plan & his earlier Get Out of Jail Plan. Almost all Republicans do this, which is why the GOP has lost one fight after another in the Culture Wars of the last fifty years.

      • Blackbird February 12, 2021 at 2:10 pm #

Are there any uncorrupted people at that level? Or enough? In other words, who could he have hired?

He had made his fame and fortune working with one branch of globalists, though despised by more sophisticated ones.

MarV: I think he had some sincerity. He got into a huge fight in Florida years ago because he flew a huge American flag above his home. The locals hated it and ordered him to take it down. He told them to stuff it. Don’t know how it turned out, but I suspect it went to court.

He was in an impossible situation: The entire Order had gone Globalist at the higher levels. He was at their level financially, but not psychologically. But in practical terms, he was in with people who were Globalists. They tolerated him as a businessman. Humored him as a person. I assume some of them liked him. But politics? Ok, you’re going to fool the White rubes like the Bushes did? Fine and dandy. But he really believed some of this stuff? That they could not abide.

And of course, maybe they have things on him. Maybe he went to some of those parties or even to the island once. But he seems to have turned away in disgust and is against is now at least. They are loathe to use this on him since they are even more involved. As far as his actual treatment of women, none of allegations have stuck. He’s a gentleman. Of course many hold a strong male libido against a man nowadays. The Insane.

        • Yohannon February 12, 2021 at 4:15 pm #

Well that goes without saying. Great point above though: Trump followed the system for the most part. It was anti-White so he ended up being so as well – even despite his best intentions and better moments.

He had them. One could talk for hours about the good things he did or tried to do. But in general and in congruence with your point: He ran as a populist and governed as a typical Republican.

Kim’s point: He was a narcissist not a psychopath. It’s almost the norm at that level. It helps people endure all kinds of slings, slights, and arrows of hatred. Almost a psychological requirement. Helps them betray their oaths too? Yeah, probably.

It seems like ages ago. When the host warned us all of the nascent censorship AKA “woke” movement.

His lecture gigs. The environment at universities.

It began on the grounds of institutions of thought, “colleges”, extended to anti-social media, and has entered the already disgusting and disjointed world of politics.

I will say it again. The banality of evil.

Someone sees it coming; clear as day, many say it will never come, and most are left asking, ‘where did it come from?’

These are witch-hunts of thought. Of ideas. Of opinion. Of political persuasion.

But it does not end here. Not by any stretch.
    It ends in elimination.
The denouement has yet to arrive.

There are loaded terms for it. Dog whistles as they say. Apparently, since trademarked cliches like “pogrom” and “inquisition”.

But no matter what you are not allowed to call it, it comes next: violence. Forceful elimination.

“How much longer will it be before the substantial and obdurately not-insane of this country refuse to roll over for these rampaging maniacs?”

Let me attempt to answer this concluding question of Jim’s. As someone who grew up in communist Eastern Europe, I am convinced, that barring some as yet unthought-of catastrophe, it will be “quite a while yet”. The woke nonsense flooding the communication channels, and the great political purges it promises, in my reckoning is history’s payback for the “Reagan’s revolution” which in two generations decimated the American middle class and eviscerated the productive sectors of the economy. Wokesterism is a natural product of bureaucratic overgrowth (financial, technocratic, academic, infotainment, governmental), which uses progressive left-wing memes as a smoke-screen to grow its own power and influence and destroy any opposition to itself. It’s the classic Orwellian double-think. The Woke Newspeak serves, as Orwell put it, “to sniff out” one’s orthodox comrades and class enemies. Virtue signalling, anyone who lived under communist rule will tell you, does not imply that one believes the nonsense, only that one is willing to go along.

Based on my experience with political intimidation, people’s first natural defense against it is to fake compliance rather than rebel against it. If the “new normal” promises to maintain at least reasonable level of material security, then most of the “non-insane” will cooperate. They will follow Brecht’s maxim: “Erst kommt das Fressen, dann kommt die Moral”. (First comes the grub, then morality). So, Mark Levine and Judge Janine on Fox News, may wax apoplectic in their invocations of the Constitution or due process, and damning “Socialism” (as if Pol Pot and Helmut Schmidt were the same animal), but it won’t make any difference. Four out of five Proud Boys arrested for the Capitol riot, will make a deal with the prosecutors and say they were misled by Trump, if it means reduced sentence.

So, unless you pray for hyperinflation, food shortages, and North Korean standards in electricity supply, we are in for a long haul, I would say.

But I have my doubts that very many – maybe even including myself – won’t cave when their conveniences and then necessities start disappearing.

The Patriotic Resistance will be wise to publicly eliminate with extreme prejudice the Commie professors in academia. Politics is downstream of Culture. The Economy is downstream of Politics. That means that Culture is really the supreme arbiter and decider of EVERYTHING.

To empower the Patriotic Resistance requires Organization, Money, and a Plan. President Trump had a golden opportunity to put together all three. He didn’t. Why he didn’t is very much suspect in my eyes.

      • Tate February 12, 2021 at 1:47 pm #

“Why he didn’t is very much suspect in my eyes.”

Yeah, we know, the Vatican & the CIA. But you provide the more innocuous answer yourself, contained within the dictum that Politics is downstream of Culture. Trump, like all Civic Nationalists, operates within the framework of Leftist thought. The Left had already firmly implanted itself in Trump’s mind before he ever took office. He was certain to sabotage himself, which he did.

      • Yohannon February 12, 2021 at 2:01 pm #

He didn’t have that level of sacrifice in him. He would have had to sacrifice his empire and his kid’s future, what to speak of their political ambitions. And their was no organization waiting for him to fund or lead. Americans are disorganized. And resistance movements are lead by the Fed, partially in the case of the Oath Keepers, from the Top in the case of the Proud Boys. The Republican Party? That’s a joke. He was in the House of his Enemies there.

As for the What ifs? If had been a more serious person: Start a network years ago. Join the Constitution Party – years ago. Help build it up. Trying to use the Republican Party as a vehicle was a hopeless, foolish task.

So instead of fighting the narrative, he ended up trying to top it and lead it. Be the new Lyndon Johnson with the “Platinum Plan” for Blacks. Put them above Whites EVEN MORE. The vaccine? Operation Warp Speed! Get that shit “into arms” as fast as possible. Mutate the population as per the Globalist plan. That’s Trump for you.

        • Blackbird February 12, 2021 at 2:18 pm #

More division, more impoverishment, and a shiny new “vaccine” on top!

Trump did his job – and I suspect he will continue to do so.

        • akmofo February 12, 2021 at 2:21 pm #

Trump’s main fault is that he’s not a serious thinker. He’s got the right instincts but not the strategic smarts to really put these instincts to work. Bannon was a buffoon.

“If the “new normal” promises to maintain at least reasonable level of material security, then most of the “non-insane” will cooperate.” — soloview

Yes. It’s the slow-boiling frog in the pot. One day they (we) will wake up and discover that our skin has fried, producing a field of malignant melanomas.

Solzhenitsyn, in the Gulag Archipelago, said that the entire multi-decade nightmare of Soviet life could have been prevented if enough people simply refused to go along with the intimidation in the early 1920s, before the malevolent bureaucratic superstructure apparatus was in place.

He referenced a historic case of an 80 year-old feisty, courageous, grandma who kept getting pulled in for questioning by the Cheka, only for her to basically tell them to eff off. They were bemused, but acceded to her, letting her go every time.

But isolated bravery means nothing in the face of complex systems of global alignment. That’s why the testing is always slow, but always ramped up consistently. Last summer’s riots are gonna be a fun times, high-jinks summer barbecue gone a little too boisterous contrasted with what’s coming soon to a street near you.

Stolen elections, open borders, corrupt wall street, family breakdowns, gun control, the wide open open border immigration clusterfuck aforementioned should be enough, but the stolen election really tells the tale. Trouble brewing in Seattle. Bad trouble.

A young Community Member shot 2 women in a parked car outside the NW African American museum on Jimi Hendrix Boulevard. When police responded he unwisely engaged the cops in a gunfight, which he lost and is now dead. Unsurprisingly, Woke Mobs are outraged and threatening to take their outrage to the streets … again! We’ll see what happens.

These censorious Woke Mobs, what power do they really have? Why not just tell them f#kk off? In the Soviet Union, Stalin had the Cheka/NKVD, backed up by the GULAG. A wrong word would — and often did — end in a death sentence, for millions of people. Red Guard in China, Stasi in E Germany, they provided the muscle behind the nebulous and shifting speech codes. Where is the muscle backing these little woke pissants here and now? Twitter? Blacbloc smashing windows in Portland, Seattle and Minneapolis? Let ’em trash those lefty sh#tholes; let them live in the squalor and wreckage they’ve created for themselves. It’s a big country, we still have the wealth and freedom to move elsewhere.

Yes. My personal thoughts on everything is that given the executive orders JoeBama has signed and what they entail, we are no longer a constitutional republic but a quasi-Marxist-type dictatorship with JoeBama as chairman and congress as the central committee. I believe those orders encompass articles contained in the trade agreements in which he has or will entangle us again. Since trade agreement law supersedes a nation’s native laws, it’s a perfect vehicle to meld countries together, which is where I believe all this is ultimately headed. I think all these policies and orders are meant to usher the US into a regional-type government, after which will come digital currency. So ultimately all countries have the same legal, social and economic systems.

    • Blackbird February 12, 2021 at 1:39 pm #

I am old enough to remember when the term “political correctness” first entered the public dialog and can recall having lunch at work one day where we were entertaining ourselves by calling each other out for perceived offenses. At the time it all seemed like innocent fun, and of course we would humor the politically correct by playing along using the newly correct terminologies.

It is no longer innocent fun. Humor itself seems to have been banned. We now have cancel culture on steroids only too eager to destroy people and organizations for the most minor of offenses. This will not end well.

The woke, anything-goes-and-nothing-matters, culture has breached every boundary that I can see. One of the employment criteria for NPR must be no backbone or plans to acquire one. The song of the year and the video that goes with it says it all about where we are:

“NPR determined that the best song of 2020 is Cardi B’s “WAP” (“Wet-ass Pussy”), which came in No. 1 on its 100 Best Songs of 2020 list. According to their pandering blurb, “WAP” was the best because it supposedly “drew the ire” of the Americans whom NPR despises.

To no one’s surprise, a pair of women honoring their own ladyparts and the pleasures they dish out and expect returned in spades drew the ire of the insecure, of zealots and moral grandstanders,” NPR explained.”

I’m not at all sure we haven’t already entered Dark Ages America.

    • Blackbird February 12, 2021 at 1:44 pm #

The same NPR that turned me on to the music of Joaquin Rodrigo?
      It’s called “progress”, I guess…

      • Yohannon February 12, 2021 at 2:31 pm #

Remember, Serbia was defeated on the Field of Blackbirds (Battle of Kosovo), but the Turks suffered so grievously that Europe was saved. Is this music worthy of this theme?

        I thought not.

        • Blackbird February 12, 2021 at 6:29 pm #

Rodrigo’s music? As a Spaniard, I suspect his ancestral memory included the painful peeling-off of an imposed culture and religion – something the Serbs can probably relate to.

When it comes to Rodrigo, the proper question would be: is the theme worthy of his music?

          • Yohannon February 12, 2021 at 7:43 pm #

Oh, you’re not a White or American or a White American? Sorry. You sound like one of us. Dual citizenship? Family here?

Sorry about that – but I’m not changing your grade. Race is the sine qua non, the beating heart, the undefended middle, and the quintessence of any Civilization. Plato warned about how changing the music would change a civilization. But we think it nothing to change the very people? Madness.

Why do you think that Tyrants have always done this? The Romans moving the Jews all over the place? Ditto the Babylonians? Or the Russians putting huge numbers of Russians in every Eastern European country? To weak the nations, weaken them or punish them unto death.

Our Elite are electing a new people. We’re at the bottom of the pile.

You had no need to apologise – I read the phrase as you did, which is to say that we both accepted its meaning according to the grammar used. The ambiguity arose from the dangling participle.

Sometimes dangling participles are just confusing. Other times they can be funny …

Although I’ve seen rather more amusing examples than strolling smoke alarms.

The problem is resolvable in many ways, but I wouldn’t presume to suggest any of them.

    • Yohannon February 12, 2021 at 2:14 pm #

Negro worship is Insanity. First you thought they were Whites with good suntans. Then you reversed the whole thing, making them into moral paragons and Whites as the moral and intellectual inferiors. You told them they were superior and they had built America. And they believed you. Now you have regrets? As Solzhenitsyn said, Live not by lies. We did and now we must pay.

You’re not at all sure? Wow.

      • Blackbird February 12, 2021 at 2:24 pm #

I think that “not at all sure” was a bit of the Ol’ English understatement. The preceding ~3.5 paragraphs seem to imply that SW has maybe more than a little certainty regarding the dark age now dawning across the USA.

        • Yohannon February 12, 2021 at 2:38 pm #

Are you sure? Do you stand behind Serbia? Beside your fellow White Americans? For the West? Against the East? For the global North? Against the global South? For the Southern cause? Against the Yankee cancer of capitalism? For the Nation state? Against the Globalists?

In short, for Whites first and foremost. And against all who would harm us?

          • Blackbird February 12, 2021 at 6:51 pm #

            1) Am I sure of SW’s intended meaning? No, just guessing based on context.
            2) I’ll stand beside Serbia against the Ottomans – should the need arise again, and if I can get over there…
            3) Gotta take that on a case-by-case basis – we have some stupid people doing some stupid things.
            4) The corrupt, capitalist West? Haha! The former bastion of the enlightenment West? Of course.
            5) How far east? Go far enough and you end up where you started. Russia seems to be trying not to get raped by the West again. China is beating us at our own game (after our capitalists gave it to them). For us against no one.
            6) See #4, replace West with North.
            7) See #5, replace East with South.
            8) If you mean states rights, absolutely.
            9) Yes
            10) Yes
            11) Yes
            12) For Truth first and foremost. Against lies and the lying liars that tell them.

Guess I failed the recruitment interview…

Yes, an F. There is no Western Culture without us. You can have as many zeroes as you want – but the 1 gives them meaning.

Thank you for playing and for your high level Civic Nationalism, doomed to fail of course. Other groups believe in group ethnic conflict and group rights – which are granted to them. Whites will be lucky to keep their individual rights. Thus we will be overcome again and again since individuals cannot fight against groups with any chance of victory.

Other people in the world see this and would have to wonder — this is what is awarded prizes in the US? To we want to follow them into the sewer?

          Here’s a thought experiment.

Have the lyrics of WAP translated into a little-known language before reading them. Listen to the song. What happens? As in all songs, it’s the sounds that make or break it. And what are you left with? Repetitive, vulgar groans; spoken words with a simple, uninteresting rhythm; high-tech electronics in a boring, 4/4 stressed pulse; a melody that makes an air-raid siren sound appealing.

It ain’t about the “music”. It was never about the “music”.

Is the impeachment trial still going on; if yes, how much longer?

The Moscow show trials 1936-1938 lasted weeks and weeks. Oddly enough, after the pre ordained ‘Guilty’ verdicts were read, the accused — Zinoviev, Yagoda, Bukharnin et al — were executed straight away, unceremoniously, a bullet to the back of the head, in an alley out back.

On the other hand the Red Guard trials in China beginning in 1966, the onset of Cultural Revolution, were strictly drumhead, impromptu mass events which required the accused to debase themselves before the mob. Executions were carried out in the alley too, hundreds and thousands at a time.

This current show trial will have to wrap up at some point. After acquittal I believe it will be forgotten about in a day or two. After all, the world is moving on.

We’re perhaps entering an unrecognizable flowering of evil, to borrow the title of Baudelaire’s famous book of poems.

Elites want to fuse man with machine. Morals not only don’t apply, they’re first irrelevant, and then eliminated from consciousness. We’ve been playing God with DNA for decades. We’re now getting into the guts of the evil science. How long before a specific subset of the population are borgs? And will we know them when we see them? After all, psychologically, most are already passive slaves to whatever idea they choose to force feed us.

And if this continues and is “perfected”, what price humanity? Disposable tech parts, in need of an upgrade.

I was never into SciFi fiction, but I always admired its prophetic reach.

@Soul Forensics — I haven’t read much science fiction but one book was recommended to me that I wanted to pass on for its prophetic reach. The Sheep Look Up by John Brunner. Occasionally you can run across one in a used book store but its also on line.

In an interview he said he had taken every idea from a current newspaper article and extrapolated it into the future. The book was written in 1952.

The story about Donald G. McNeil being forced out of the NYT for using the N-word “in any context” looks pretty outrageous on its face, but there again, 150 other employees signed a letter against him, so there might have been other stuff going on too … maybe he had some history.

Anyway, I pick that example to make my three points:

    1. There are many things about a woke consciousness that are very positive – for dominant white people to understand at least a little how the way they stroll through life with a deeply ingrained sense of entitlement and privilege … is simply not available to the overwhelming majority of black, brown, and poor people.

    2. On a related note, there is a lot of victim blaming, even victim bashing … often by people who have NEVER had to experience one day + one night in the situation, condition, and circumstances that millions of the less privileged have to every day of their lives.

    3. There is a lot of whingeing and claiming of victimhood by the white team … they have had it so good for a millennium or so, and in America for 400 years, that they are angry and pissed off that the other mob are demanding stuff, and challenging their hegemony and their power structures.

Anyway – JHK has raised some complex issues with a lot of meaty arguments on both sides. But as always, I think it’s a good strategy to always have a clear idea where the real enemy dwells: (1) peak everything, and the collapse of economic systems that no longer work, and (2) the corporate state, where society has been taken over by the elites and their handmaidens.

Wokeness has not caused the hollowing out of a thousand cities in the Midwest, and the death of millions of jobs … corporate America has. Nor has it led to the destruction of thousands of family farms and the towns that supported them … big business has.

It’s also not the Democrats, and “their” deep state colleagues – the profound problems of the US pre-date Joe Biden by many decades.

And it’s sadly inevitable that the early decisions of the Biden administration piss off half the population – the same was certainly true of Trump, and we could go back through Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan.

Biden has to focus on the pandemic, illegal immigrants, and economic stimulus … and fuck knows what you do about the black community wrecking cities for months and months.

      hey tekapo troll,

You asked why I was “obsessed” with Robin DiAngelo the other day. That’s a big LOL!, and too rich, coming from you, whose post quotient for “the election was legit, give it a rest” rests at about 99%.

Of my hundreds of posts here, only a handful focus on DiAngelo. The reason I’m pressing you to give me your opinion on it is because you’re hiding it. Why is that? Yet you come back to me with the predictable Woke response of deflection and ad hominem.

So, once again, how about it? What’s your opinion of DiAngelo, in your own words? Remember, according to her, if you’re White, you’re racist. Let ‘er rip!

      • Tekapo February 12, 2021 at 5:42 pm #

Here’s an idea to get used to … I was not aware of the alleged notoriety of Ms Robin DiAngelo – and was only vaguely aware of her very existence – until your obsessive referring to her.

For the record … being white does not make one de facto racist. But it is very easy as a white person to forget to check one’s privilege, and to slip into racist language, tropes, and stereotypes … and to blame victims for their systemic disadvantage.

There’s no need to tie oneself in knots and be smothered by guilt – that’s ridiculous. But never leave home without your WokeCard in your pocket … it works for me!

        • Soul Forensics February 12, 2021 at 5:53 pm #

A curious response. So you come clean and admit you know nothing about Robin DiAngelo except — obviously — a second-hand opinion per Chait’s column.

Why would you base your opinion of DiAngelo on what Chait said, without reading anything else on DiAngelo, and, certainly, not reading DiAngelo herself. Could it be because you’re a Woke sympathizer, and that what Chait said sounded good for your cause, and gave you a brief but undeniable warm and steamy feeling around your heart?

Are you not aware of the Evergreen College race fiasco, a seminal event in contemporary American history, and the prominent part that DiAngelo played in it?

          • Soul Forensics February 12, 2021 at 8:33 pm #

Yes, it’s good, though for a forensic takedown, no one tops James Lindsay. He goes through the book virtually line-by-line to dig up DiAngelo’s circular reasoning, her bad faith, her careerist motivations, her jejune philosophical speculations, her inconsistencies, her post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacies.

And for sheer entertainment and hilarity, Matt Taibbi’s review of White Fragility is top notch. Hopefully, anyone interested can still read it as a non-paying customer on his Substack outlet.

For cultures that haven’t really done anything to advance civilization in centuries (in some cases millennia), resentment toward one that has is natural. I get a real kick though out of “whites” feeling burdened with their “privilege”. You seem to be one of those pathetic souls.

The “privilege” of Whites is being part of the group responsible for 90-95% of the inventions and innovations that created the modern world. It’s no more mysterious than that. I would challenge anyone of any pigment to try to live a week without the inventions of White males and get back to me on that privilege thingie. If you have such a problem with White civilization, either stop using our stuff and whine all you want or keep using the gifts we have shared with the less advanced and shut the fuck up.

      • Soul Forensics February 12, 2021 at 9:08 pm #

        Hear hear!

At a party once with an acquaintance. Guy went on and on about the evils of capitalist civilization that encouraged consumerist behaviour and desires, instead extolling the wonders of Native customs and living off the land.

The guy mooched off his wife, lived in a huge house, and made a pittance towards his lifestyle (car, all modern conveniences, air travel, unnecessary toys) by producing music in a studio adjacent to his wife’s house, stuffed to the gills with all the modern electronic gear.

      • Tekapo February 13, 2021 at 1:23 am #

“If you have such a problem with White civilization, either stop using our stuff and whine all you want or keep using the gifts we have shared with the less advanced and shut the fuck up.”

My goodness … such anger, hate, and vitriol. And also a bit to unpack here. Firstly, I’ve heard all the white-guy arguments many times previously – nothing new here.

However they don’t even remotely address anything that I was talking about. In fact I expressly stated that self-loathing by whites is ridiculous – and is as pathetic and weak as racist and white supremacism are.

And I expect that while you have in your life benefited greatly from being white, I don’t think you personally invented very much – the Ford Mustang, powered flight, perspective in Renaissance art, typesetting, or even the Egg McMuffin. And I will set aside issues about non-white civilizations throughout history – there have been quite a lot as it happens.

But the reality is that white people today (in general, on average) have a much better chance | opportunity for a good and prosperous life, compared to non-whites and other minorities … this is hardly controversial.

And it is still pretty true even in a context where there are a lot of poor and under-employed whites in America today.

So I think it’s reasonable (and moral, and just0 that white people be very conscious of their start, and not trash those who are less fortunate. Being “woke” in a sensible manner is not a disease – and nor is it a sign of weakness or craven self-hate.

It’s just the right thing to do in so many contexts, and it costs you nothing. And who knows? It might even make you feel better, and grow into a better person. There is always that hope!

        • tuco22 February 13, 2021 at 3:09 am #

My observation is that to have a good and prosperous life in the US requires an education beyond high school, or the acquisition of a skill, and from the reading proficiency and math scores of black kids in states like Philadelphia and Wisconsin, to name two, that doesn’t seem to be a high priority with the black population, no matter how much lip service they pay to it. Until that changes, their lot in life will not improve. White people have to work harder because they don’t get a “leg up.” There are no government policies that favor their hiring over anyone else. They are always the lowest of the “quotas” in the private sector, which has to follow Affirmative Action guidelines. Ditto for schools like Yale or Harvard. Everyone else can live with whom they want except for them. When they want that, it’s racist. Black neighborhoods are okay, Hispanic neighborhoods are okay, Jewish neighborhoods are okay. White neighborhoods are not. White privilege is a label born of resentment and envy. You have what I don’t and that’s not fair. And it’s your fault that I don’t have it. That’s pretty much it in a nutshell.

          Are you White?

        • King of Comedy February 13, 2021 at 11:47 am #

          @ Tekapo

It’s funny that pointing out the simple fact that White western civilization has created the modern world is considered “anger, hate, and vitriol.”

It’s really a simple matter of the hierarchy of competence and who has sat at the top of that hierarchy for the last five or six centuries (perhaps even longer). That’s what the perpetual victim class and their white fellow travelers can never seem to grasp. If any other culture out there had the same technological track record over the same timeframe, they would have dominated (I’m sure any minute you’ll namedrop Jared Diamond but his dubious argument, in this reporter’s opinion, is an exemplar of the same pathology on display in your case). We can also “unpack” the fact that any cursory reading of history shows that when non-white civilizations had the upper hand, they hardly refrained from exercising their dominance (see the Muslim conquest of the Iberian peninsula, the Mongol invasion of Eastern Europe, the Ottoman treatment of the Slavic peoples, etc). And as much as we’re supposed to pretend that woke “morality” will inevitably triumph, it always comes down to the law of the jungle and that’s the other curious paradox of the comforts and abundance created by White invention and ingenuity. From a historical perspective, those alive today are among the luckiest who have ever existed on this planet and only in abundance can the hothouse flower of wokeness establish any roots. As our host is wont to point out, the shelf-life on that abundance appears to be expiring. The historically-anomalous condition of a people (or at least a portion of that people) bowing and scraping because of their civilizational dominance will surely follow.

So the “white-guy argument” stands. White people are under no obligation to do anything other than celebrate their civilization and its triumphs. Other cultures can do the same and may the best culture win.

It’s your prerogative to count yourself among the genuflectors if you wish but most White people simply aren’t buying.

Or Brazilian farmers cut them down and burn them to make way for farmland that only lasts a few years because of low fertility of the soil.

    • Tekapo February 13, 2021 at 1:33 am #

“Just read today that here in Germany, the Greens are now calling for banning single-family homes for “the climate.””

Presumably it would not be retrospective. And our host JHK has talked for a long time about suburbia (and exurbia) being the worst investment in human history, and I agree strongly.

Very low density housing, productive farmland paved over and poisoned, houses made out of plastic, complete absence of a main-street community, and the inhabitants condemned to years and years of soul-destroying commuting … in so many ways it could be better – irrespective of the climate arguments.

Medium-density communities (to about 4-10 floors say) tend to be among the most “human-scaled” environments in which to live, work, and shop … in my experience.

      • Night Owl February 13, 2021 at 6:19 am #

“Single-family home” is not a synonym for American suburban sprawl accessible by nothing but the motor vehicle.

While you are at it, look up the term “Enteignung.”

Having lived in both the middle of several large cities both in the US and Europe and, now, a tree-lined street in a metro-area German suburb, I would never return to the city to raise my son.

        • Tekapo February 13, 2021 at 3:20 pm #

“Having lived in both the middle of several large cities both in the US and Europe and, now, a tree-lined street in a metro-area German suburb, I would never return to the city to raise my son.”

You kind of make my point for me. i think medium density (a mix of modest apartment blocks, low-rise housing, neighborhood services, and decent open space for kids) – that is the sweet spot. High density urban jungles and single-dwelling suburban sprawl – neither of those are as good.

I also live in a tree-lined metro street not that far from a city center, and it’s pretty good … however I think it would be better to have a somewhat higher density – so that schools, shopping, and other services were either an easy walk, or public-transport viable.

Plus it’s an older area, and (a) there are a lot of older, often widowed, residents living in big places, and (b) a lot of those places need repairs and maintenance they’re not getting, and they take a lot of resources and energy to run.

But NIMBY often comes into play in such leafy areas – residents with a stake in the existing model resist any increase in density, so we roll over to another generation.

          • Night Owl February 13, 2021 at 4:06 pm #

Nope. Eliminating single-family dwellings simply has the effect of demotivation. Why strive for a tiny apartment in a block?

The fact is, no one wants it. I could sell my house in this leafy neighborhood for double what I paid, just two years ago. The reason? People are desperate for something nice.

And it isn’t about materialism. It is about having a place you feel comfortable, to raise a family. Beauty. Safety.

You can’t change human nature. Particulary when you increase the wealth gap each year, making those at the bottom even more desperate. And that is the model your Purple Revolutionist friends are selling us — except they continue to live however they want.

        • Tekapo February 13, 2021 at 3:47 pm #

We have friends living in Regensdorf, just outside Zurich Switzerland. The place has a good density, and a walkable vibe of the type I prefer – but being full of Swiss people, it wasn’t that exciting.

I have family in Einsiedeln and we have friends in a suburb of Zurich. The friend lived in the sort of building you claim you are a fan of.

This past year, they were finally able to afford a freestanding house and were over the moon. They vacated that 65 sq meter apartment so fast, you would never have known they were there.

The fam. in Einsiedeln has a farm house on a lake with the Alps in the distance. Not nearly as expensive as the suburb I mentioned, but it is heaven.

No one wants to live in your ideal community.

          • Tekapo February 14, 2021 at 8:36 pm #

“No one wants to live in your ideal community.”

Data is not the plural of anecdote.

We know quite a few people – who could afford to live in a wide range of alternatives – and they really prefer low-rise apartment living, for lots of reasons.

Our apartment is 130 square meters plus balcony … we like it.

          • Night Owl February 15, 2021 at 6:16 am #

The demand for single-family housing is what it is. The data does not lie.

No one wants to live in your apartment buliding, no matter how much you want to force your situation on others.

James Howard Kunstler theorizes that many young Americans these days endeavor to identify with some victimized minority racial or gender group to try to get “brownie points” and some type of economic, career, status, or power advantage. Do you remember that weird white woman (Rachel Donezal?) in Washington State who was frequently a tanning salon and curling her hair in order to pass herself off as a light skinned black woman? I recall that she had finagled herself into a senior position in the local chapter of the NAACP and was spearheading a movement to oust local white people from power because of their White Privilege. Years earlier, she had applied for a scholarship Howard University as a minority white student, but she was rejected, so she sued the black school for racial discrimination.

Have you ever considered going queer or transitioning to try to get some benefit or media publicity?

“Has anyone written a book yet on the complete backflop and switch Drudge did a year ago?”

Haven’t written a book, but have read him for years … his conversion to anti-Trump was pretty dramatic over a year or three. He was particularly critical over the Trump administration’s (mis)handling of the pandemic.

      • MrMangoOnMyShoulder February 13, 2021 at 8:07 am #

Curious…in regards to the “Trump administration’s (mis)handling of the pandemic.”

What was that, exactly? Didn’t he essentially do everything Fauci suggested to do?

I’m serious, because I keep hearing from the left how badly Trump mismanaged the pandemic. The way I remember it, he issued a travel ban to China before other countries did (I believe last January) and was called a knee-jerk xenophobe for acting to isolate us from the source of the outbreak, by the very same politicians who now say he didn’t do anything right with the pandemic.

Was it that he chose to not wear a mask most of the time (same as every talking head on TV)? Was it that he didn’t do daily fireside chats about health and safety and “we’re all in this together”?

Or was it that he didn’t put us in federal lockdown gulag boxes on day one and weld people into their apartments until quarantine times were up like was done in China?

My take is he did what any other president would have done given the rapidly changing circumstances, but as it went along he let his health advisors advise the public, even if he thought they were dicks (and they him).

Or it was just the fact that it was Trump, and he was boorish and demonized for even doing the right thing (because the “right thing” flip-flopped many times a la Fauci, CDC and WHO guidelines).

      • MrMangoOnMyShoulder February 13, 2021 at 8:20 am #

Don’t get me wrong, I thought the government response was chaotic, slow and one of finger-pointing instead of action.

From what I understand, Canada very quiickly set up recurring stimulus and stuck to it, while we got months of bickering and then weeks/months later received less than a month’s rent or mortgage to “assist” with the fact that our businesses were shut down…then start the months-long bickering and finger-pointing cycle again for five months. Repeat.

Not that I think handing out trillions in free money is a good fiscal idea…but hey- they did take away a large chunk of the country’s livelihoods.

But I’m trying to understand how that translates to “Trump mismanagement”. He could have cured cancer and they would’ve found a way to blame him for something or other.

    Whose Democracy?
Gregory Hood, American Renaissance, February 12, 2021

The Joe Biden/Kamala Harris Administration isn’t just another presidency. Well-meaning conservatives will have to realize that this regime does not represent them. Our nation is inseparable from race and culture, and the government on the Potomac is not our government. We can’t escape “American” politics, but we shouldn’t waste time thinking about Washington, DC. Instead, we must build something new.

The new administration has a foundational myth: that Donald Trump was uniquely dangerous to “Our Democracy,” an aspiring autocrat who tried to steal the election and then incited an “insurrection.” Journalists claim it was all based on a lie.

    “Trump’s Big Lie,” BillMoyers.com, February 3, 2021
“Op-Ed: Trump’s Big Lie is getting him impeached. It adds to a long line of treacherous GOP fibs,” Los Angeles Times, February 9, 2021
“State Republican Leaders Are Rushing To Exploit Trump’s Big Lie,” The New Yorker, February 2, 2021
“The ‘big lie’ exposed: Impeachment trial hears how Trump incited violence over months with ‘stolen election,’ ” UK Independent, February 2

Countless articles use the same words, an obvious references to the “Big Lie” technique supposedly used by the Nazis. Joe Biden said this explicitly. Many people have claimed that Adolf Hitler and/or Joseph Goebbels said that the bigger the lie and the more you repeat it, the more people will believe it. Both men were talking about what they thought their enemies were doing, not what they would do. To quote the “Big Lie” this way is itself a big lie, and it’s effective. What Republican will explain that the Nazis are being misquoted?

I have no doubt that Mr. Trump sincerely believes the election was stolen, so he was not intentionally lying at all, but the “big lie” and the “insurrection” are now supposed to be reasons to impeach Mr. Trump for the second time.

President Trump did many good things. He may not get enough credit; he was constantly thwarted and reviled. However, his administration was hardly revolutionary. Aside from tweets and confrontation with the press, President Trump governed like a standard Republican. He never used his power to hurt the media or his political opponents. It was his own supporters who suffered most. His solution to the Big Tech censorship that silenced so much of his base was “just being good.” Now, he doesn’t have a Twitter or Facebook account. Passivity like that hardly sounds “authoritarian” or “fascist.”

At a deeper level, the election was rigged against him. Time has published a triumphant article about how a “well-funded cabal” “fortified democracy” by changing election laws and controlling speech. If the article had been about a Russian or Chinese election, we’d laugh at the idea that a cabal can “fortify democracy.” Whatever the vote totals were, it wasn’t a fair election.

Democrats charge that protesters thought they were “following orders” when they broke into the Capitol. Some of those arrested will make that claim to defend themselves. But what orders? President Trump told demonstrators to protest “peacefully and patriotically.” If this still counts as “inciting” violence, what are we to do about explicit calls by Democrats for radical protests? The Capitol takeover was not an “insurrection.” Was the Q-Anon Shaman supposed to become the new Speaker of the House?

The main victims of the riot were Trump supporters. An officer shot Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed woman. Kevin Greeson, Benjamin Phillips, and Rosanne Boyland died from medical emergencies. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died of an unknown cause; he may have had a fatal reaction to bear spray. Thus, there were four dead Trump supporters and one policeman. Officer Sicknick was certainly a victim, but the latest press reports say prosecutors are having a hard time charging anyone with homicide. Two other officers later killed themselves. We don’t really know why.

Ironically, both leftists and Q-Anon protesters believed there was a master plan. There was no plan. President Trump was talking big, but he didn’t intend a putsch. Has he ever followed up on his tough talk? His supporters were a leaderless rabble. Most came for a protest and nothing more. Indeed, video from the day shows some Trump supporters calmly walking through the Capitol, careful to stay within the velvet ropes for tourists. Representatives in Congress are a greater danger to those statues than any “insurrectionists.”

Donald Trump had no plan. He was an American version of General Boulanger, someone who had a mass following but lacked the will or vision to accomplish anything. The Capitol Farce is the Reichstag Fire for progressives, an excuse to consolidate power and crush opposition. This includes efforts to expel Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley for supposedly inciting insurrection. The new Administration has also begun a repressive campaign against white advocates.

Among Joe Biden’s first actions were to abolish the 1776 Commission and reimpose critical race theory on the federal government. Progressives are also teaching critical race theory in college and even in elementary school. This causes racial conflict by provoking and rewarding non-white resentment. The state is undermining the nation, whether by intent or ignorance.

The state also can’t defend its own symbols. Progressives wail about the “desecration” of the “temple of democracy,” but the Biden White House is lukewarm on defending the national anthem. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said his team was not going to play the Star Spangled Banner before home games because members of the “community” felt the anthem “did not fully represent them.” He later backpedaled after the NBA said the anthem must be played. The White House waffled.

After saying that President Biden is proud to be American, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said:

[President Biden would] also say that, of course, that part of the pride in our country means recognizing moments where we as a country haven’t lived up to our highest ideals, which is often, and at times, when people are speaking to when they take action at sporting events.

And it means respecting the rights of people, granted to them the Constitution to peacefully protest.

I’m not sure about the President’s support for “peaceful protest;” the Department of Justice arrested “Ricky Vaughn” for posting memes and the FBI raided activists who held pro-Trump rallies.

It is not yet a crime to belong to a “domestic terrorist group” or to hold certain opinions, but that could change. The federal government would have a hard time punishing white advocates and civic nationalists while ignoring antifa and BLM. Canada doesn’t have this problem. It declared the Proud Boys a “terrorist group.” Canada criminalizes membership and imposes penalties on anyone who does business with the group. The First Amendment theoretically prevents the American government from doing this, but I have faith in the creativity of lawyers and judges to work around that little problem, especially after President Biden replaces one or more Supreme Court justices.

One of President Biden’s other early decisions was to allow American embassies to fly the gay pride flag. Burning the American flag is free speech, but burning the gay flag can be a hate crime. It remains to be seen whether embassies will also display Black Lives Matter banners. The last Super Bowl began with the “Black National Anthem,” so white Americans should get used to blacks’ quasi-sovereign status.

While new symbols go up, others come down. The city of Charlottesville won’t just take down Robert E. Lee, but reportedly wants to ditch Lewis and Clark. San Jose will dump a statue of Thomas Fallon because he raised the American flag over the city. The Father of His Country isn’t safe either, but the country he fathered doesn’t exist anymore. Get ready for Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill instead of Andrew Jackson.

During the Civil War, both sides claimed to be fighting for the Founders’ vision. This new America is explicitly built on repudiation. Thomas Fallon raising the flag is no longer an American triumph, but a shameful affront to Mexicans and American Indians. The Founders enshrined white supremacy. The arrival of Christopher Columbus and whites to the New World isn’t a day of celebration, but a day of mourning. Thanksgiving is no longer about gratitude to God but apologies to American Indians. If there’s anything to be saved from the old America, it’s one silly phrase from the Declaration of Independence.

Many conservatives believe there is a limit to the destruction. There isn’t. America imports people like Ilhan Omar, gives them preferential treatment, and rewards them for hating the country. If you subsidize something, you get more of it. Conservatives understand this about economic policy.

Aside from a few tokens hired by the American conservative movement, non-whites have no reason to be patriotic or identify with the historic American nation. Why identify with people who aren’t of your race, especially when you are rewarded by every powerful institution if you claim you’re a victim?

Also, the media should never surprise us. We don’t have a state-run media; we have a media-run state. Media campaigns can determine who and what the state prosecutes. Media also determine who can do business or speak online. Men seek power. Why should we be surprised that journalists use power to shut down others? We should remember what John C. Calhoun taught us: “Power can only be resisted by power.”

For the last half century, the conservative movement has often taught its followers to avoid power. The result was that the Left captured the universities, the media, and the bureaucracy. Progressives even control Big Business. Now, every major institution in America opposes white interests. Therefore, what interest do we have in upholding such a society? It’s absurd to be conservative when there’s little worth conserving.

In an editorial two weeks ago, National Review said that the Capitol should not be a militarized zone but rather symbol of “a free people’s self-representation.” I disagree. The Capitol should remain as it is: the “Green Zone” of an occupying regime as foreign and hostile as anything in Iraq or Afghanistan. It should look the part. MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace implied that the government should consider military strikes against those who “incite terrorism,” meaning the Capitol protests. We aren’t a free people and should stop pretending we are. Conservatives need to grow up or admit they’re just collaborators and phony opposition.

Where does that leave us? Whites are stateless, leaderless, and without representation in “our” government. There is not one figure who defends whites as whites. Every other group has leaders who explicitly defend interests. Like white South Africans in the 1980s and 1990s, we are trapped in an impossible dilemma. Are we part of a larger “American” country that is now at war with its own white past, or are we something different?

I’d say we are something different – but what? Southern nationalism is a dead end as states like Georgia turn brown. Claiming we are the “true” America makes it hard to forge a separate identity. What’s more, our struggle is worldwide. White Americans face the same opponents and the same challenges as white Canadians, French, Germans, British, Irish, and other members of the European brotherhood. I have far more in common with them than I do with someone like Rashida Tlaib. I don’t care what’s on our passports.

I don’t have the final answer or the ultimate path forward. Something will emerge depending on circumstances and the new challenges that will emerge. However, I do know we need at least to ask the right question before we get the right answer. “How do we save America?” is no longer the right question. “America” itself has become an almost meaningless word. “How do we save our people?” is where we need to start. A Western civilization-state is where we need to end.

What we do in between will be the story of the next few years, perhaps the next few decades. They may prove to be the most important in the entire history of our race. There can be no more illusions. The hour of decision is here. Western Civilization – white Civilization – yes or no? We must make our choice.

Yoho: The most existential Existential question: To be or not to be. Ask not what you can do for your country, but whether it is your country (nation) in the first place. It’s all going to go. But will we go with it?

No more lies. Hitler was willing to shake hands with Jessie Owens. He was disappointed that Blacks were faster, but he accepted the Truth of it. The Journalists lied when they said he wasn’t willing to shake his hand – and Jessie Owens talked about their lies later.

A Nation that is an expression of your extended self, your people? Your race? Of course you should serve it! Not to would mean you’re some kind of greedy, selfish Capitalist, an avatism to be shunned.

The Civ Gnats will choose to go down the ship. Heroes of a Lost Cause that deserves to lose.

I definitely agree that the militarized Capital should remain that way. We have lived in a grand delusion. As if there has ever really been a thing such as “our democracy”. The biggest and the most heartless lie of all. This regime is intent on permanently restricting the freedoms of its slaves “citizens” due to covid. And yet the same regime is allowing thousands of aliens to freely cross the southern border into the “country” with no health screenings..of course. Now the regime may target states for domestic travel restrictions while again maintaining no restrictions of the movement of foreign nationals into the “country”. Only an absolute tyranny that both hates its slaves “citizens” and wishes them direct harm acts in these ways. Would a real nation treat its native citizens as disposable and replaceable objects? If so, what is the point of citizenship? Now at least many thoughtful normies realize that indeed, we are homeless in our own home. If the Capital would have kept up the pretenses they could have prevented that mass realization. But naturally, their pride was ahead of them. The show of strength is a facade. The feet of their state are made of clay.

Schumer then stepped in apparently and said they were not going down the path of witness testimony.

The phrase? “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”

This is misogynistic, anti-trans rubbish. It obviously excludes all of the other 57 genders of humans. “men” should be stricken from it & replaced by “persons.” I don’t advocate a constitutional amendment, only a federal law because we cannot exclude even our pets from inclusion in the future when we have progressed to a level of equity for every animate being.

      • JohnAZ February 13, 2021 at 3:02 pm #

In my generation and before, MEN was a generic term to mean humans. Men and persons was synonymous. To today’s cancel culture crowd, I guess that doesn’t convey any more.

In the mid-18th Century, the Americans uniformly considered themselves Britons (subject to the Crown, but not to Parliament). It was the British cultural proclivity of Taking The Piss Out of the Americans, particularly the future leadership, such as George Washington and Benjamin Franklin, that ultimately alienated the Americans and helped to congeal the American identity.

Strange event in DC, and no, not impeachment.

Congress voted to award one of the Federal Poliice Officers from Jan. 6 riots a Gold Medal.

A gold medal? In Portland last year for 250 straight nights BLM/Antifa mobs assaulted the Federal CH and office building. President Trump dispatched DHS & Border Patrol fed police to protect govt. property, as the distinguished Portland mayor had withdrawn city police. On the ground the feds were attacked with high grade fireworks, lasers (2 officers suffered permanent vision loss) molotov cocktails, clubs, pistols, rocks and other missiles. They were definitely on the defense … in the MSM, and by the Mayor and Oregon Gov, these Federal officers were described as NAZI STORM TROOPERS, SS MEN, FASCISTS, TRUMPS GESTAPO, CONFEDERATE SLAVE CATCHERS, WHITE SUPREMACISTS and so on. As far as I know none of the officers were given gold medals. On the contrary, local prosecutors threatened to charge these men with Crimes against Humanity. This happened just a few short months ago, already down the media memory hole.

All I can say, what a turnaround. What changed?

Now that it’s come out that both the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers were deeply infiltrated by the Feds, I’m giving the False Flag hypothesis much more credence. The Oath Keeper leader was a retired high level FBI man. The Proud Boy guy was just an informant, but he was the top man IN the Proud Boys. Add to that all the Antifas on the ground and some of the Cops opening doors and gates and the case is made. I still think we shouldn’t throw our people under the bus of course. Are they going to serve years and decades for this desperate and ultimately silly act? A profound Injustice.

Martin Armstrong posted a heated exchange between Gov DeSantis and Joe Bidet.

“Florida absolutely will not comply,” DeSantis repeated. “Instituting a travel ban or restriction of movement would be a gross example of federal overreach with no grounding in law or science. We have Covid-19 in check, and you’re trying to exert unlawful authority over our state and its people.”

Biden then tacitly threatened to withhold federal funding and to deny Florida access to Covid-19 vaccinations. DeSantis said: “How much do you stand to earn from these vaccines, Dr. Fauci? And, Joe, if you continue with this course of action, I will authorize the state National Guard to protect the movement of Floridians.” Biden responded: “Address me as Mr. President or President Biden.” DeSantis bluntly said: “I will not, and you can go fuck yourself.” DeSantis then hung up.”

Weird analogy. I doubt the corpse of Pope Formosus was enjoying a nice presidential pension, classified intelligence information, etc. James you really are a great writer but it’s pretty sad to see the decline of this blog. “How much longer will it be before the substantial and obdurately not-insane of this country refuse to roll over for these rampaging maniacs?”

How long? How long, throughout history, have the wealthy and powerful, and I’m not talking about their hired hands in the undignified world of politics, successfully divided and distracted the have-not from the machinations of the haves? The poor and working from the elite? You can see it here. The endless blaming of browns and poor, blah, blah, blah. What are the poor browns and blacks taking from you? Are they planning the reset? Are they silencing you on social media? Are they vulture capitalists funding their newest Palm Beach spread? No.

Yet here you go on, being distracted.
    Walls. Borders. Guns. Language.

Has it occurred to you dimwit yokels that the people taking your wealth, your rights, your access to information, your freedoms, your opinions do not see the aforementioned as barriers to their plans? To their activities?

The issue in this country is a class issue. It is a wealth issue. It is a fractionally small percentage of incredibly wealthy people who control the goods and the information and the $ who control you and the “country” you think exists.

    Wake the **** up

    • Yohannon February 13, 2021 at 1:59 pm #

The Blacks and Browns are used against Whites by the Elite. If allowed to, they would take everything from us. If the Elite suddenly disappeared, you think we’d all get along? There would be a three way War with new borders being drawn. More than three – between White Liberals and Conservatives as well, with the former allied with the Blacks and Browns.

Class is real. So is race and nationality.

    • Tate February 13, 2021 at 2:03 pm #

Yes, it’s a class issue. The managerial/technocratic/professional class in government, business, media, & academia who rule over us are fundamentally different than the rest of us dirt people. They hate & they fear us as noted in their hysterical reactions to Trump. They even look different than the rest of us, as a whole. They mix easily among themselves, black, brown, & white. That’s because their class is formed of a flawed meritocracy, but a meritocracy never the less, & they can’t understand why we can’t “get along” as easily as they. They totally buy into their creed of radical egalitarianism. It will come down to a kinetic conflict eventually, if I’m not mistaken.

      • Tate February 13, 2021 at 2:15 pm #

& because it’s a flawed meritocracy, the best & the brightest are often excluded. IOW, they are stupid. China & Russia, &c, know this. Pray for this country.

I was watching a show last night about cryptids and there was a video that a tourist on an Alaskan cruise took and it was really weird because in the video a part of the glacier fell off into the seawater and seriously like a minute or two later a series of what looked like these ridges or humps surfaced from the water. And it was as if some giant serpentine sea creature was just under the surface of the waters slithering near the ice! It looked like maybe it could have been a massive dragon or dinosaur or something.

31 Reasons Why I Won’t Take the Vaccine, Gates of Vienna

        by Chananya Weissman

        1. It’s not a vaccine. A vaccine by definition provides immunity to a disease. This does not provide immunity to anything. In a best-case scenario, it merely reduces the chance of getting a severe case of a virus if one catches it. Hence, it is a medical treatment, not a vaccine. I do not want to take a medical treatment for an illness I do not have.
        2. The drug companies, politicians, medical establishment, and media have joined forces to universally refer to this as a vaccine when it is not one, with the intention of manipulating people into feeling safer about undergoing a medical treatment. Because they are being deceitful, I do not trust them, and want nothing to do with their medical treatment.
        3. The presumed benefits of this medical treatment are minimal and would not last long in any case. The establishment acknowledges this, and is already talking about additional shots and ever-increasing numbers of new “vaccines” that would be required on a regular basis. I refuse to turn myself into a chronic patient who receives injections of new pharmaceutical products on a regular basis simply to reduce my chances of getting a severe case of a virus that these injections do not even prevent.
        4. I can reduce my chances of getting a severe case of a virus by strengthening my immune system naturally. In the event I catch a virus, there are vitamins and well-established drugs that have had wonderful results in warding off the illness, without the risks and unknowns of this medical treatment.
        5. The establishment insists that this medical treatment is safe. They cannot possibly know this because the long-term effects are entirely unknown, and will not be known for many years. They may speculate that it is safe, but it is disingenuous for them to make such a claim that cannot possibly be known. Because they are being disingenuous, I do not trust them, and I want no part of their treatment.
        6. The drug companies have zero liability if anything goes wrong, and cannot be sued. Same for the politicians who are pushing this treatment. I will not inject myself with a new, experimental medical device when the people behind it accept no liability or responsibility if something goes wrong. I will not risk my health and my life when they refuse to risk anything.
        7. Israel’s Prime Minister has openly admitted that the Israeli people are the world’s laboratory for this experimental treatment. I am not interested in being a guinea pig or donating my body to science.
        8. Israel agreed to share medical data of its citizens with a foreign drug company as a fundamental part of their agreement to receive this treatment. I never consented for my personal medical data to be shared with any such entity, nor was I even asked. I will not contribute to this sleazy enterprise.
        9. The executives and board members at Pfizer are on record that they have not taken their own treatment, despite all the fanfare and assurances. They are claiming that they would consider it unfair to “cut the line”. This is a preposterous excuse, and it takes an unbelievable amount of chutzpah to even say such a thing. Such a “line” is a figment of their own imagination; if they hogged a couple of injections for themselves no one would cry foul. In addition, billionaires with private jets and private islands are not known for waiting in line until hundreds of millions of peasants all over the world go first to receive anything these billionaires want for themselves.
        10. The establishment media have accepted this preposterous excuse without question or concern. Moreover, they laud Pfizer’s executives for their supposed self-sacrifice in not taking their own experimental treatment until we go first. Since they consider us such fools, I do not trust them, and do not want their new treatment. They can have my place in line. I’ll go to the very back of the line.
        11. Three facts that must be put together:
Bill Gates is touting these vaccines as essential to the survival of the human race.
Bill Gates believes the world has too many people and needs to be “depopulated”.
Bill Gates, perhaps the richest man in the world, has also not been injected. No rush.
Uh, no. I’ll pass on any medical treatments he wants me to take.

        12. The establishment has been entirely one-sided in celebrating this treatment. The politicians and media are urging people to take it as both a moral and civic duty. The benefits of the treatment are being greatly exaggerated, the risks are being ignored, and the unknowns are being brushed aside. Because they are being deceitful and manipulative, I will not gamble my personal wellbeing on their integrity.
        13. There is an intense propaganda campaign for people to take this treatment. Politicians and celebrities are taking selfies of themselves getting injected (perhaps in some cases pretending to get injected), the media is hyping this as the coolest, smartest, most happy and fun thing to do. It is the most widespread marketing campaign in history. This is not at all appropriate for any medical treatment, let alone a brand new one, and it makes me recoil.
        14. The masses are following in tow, posting pictures of themselves getting injected with a drug, feeding the mass peer pressure to do the same. There is something very alarming and sick about this, and I want no part of it. I never took drugs just because “everyone’s doing it” and it’s cool. I’m certainly not going to start now.

        15. Those who raise concerns about this medical treatment are being bullied, slandered, mocked, censored, ostracized, threatened, and fired from their jobs. This includes medical professionals who have science-based concerns about the drug and caregivers who have witnessed people under their charge suffering horrible reactions and death shortly after being injected. When the establishment is purging good people who risk everything simply to raise concerns about a new medical treatment — even if they don’t outright oppose it — I will trust these brave people over the establishment every time. I cannot think of a single similar case in history when truth and morality turned out to be on the side of the establishment.
        16. This is the greatest medical experiment in the history of the human race.
        17. It is purposely not being portrayed as the greatest medical experiment in the history of the human race, and the fact that it is a medical experiment at all is being severely downplayed.
        18. Were they up front with the masses, very few would agree to participate in such an experiment. Manipulating the masses to participate in a medical experiment under false pretenses violates the foundations of medical ethics and democratic law. I will not allow unethical people who engage in such conduct to inject me with anything.
        19. The medical establishment is not informing people about any of this. They have become marketing agents for an experimental drug, serving huge companies and politicians who have made deals with them. This is a direct conflict with their mandate to concern themselves exclusively with the wellbeing of the people under their care. Since the medical establishment has become corrupted, and has become nothing more than a corporate and political tool, I do not trust the experimental drug they want so badly to inject me with.
        20. We are being pressured in various ways to get injected, which violates medical ethics and the foundations of democratic society. The best way to get me not to do something is to pressure me to do it.
        21. The government has sealed their protocol related to the virus and treatments for THIRTY YEARS. This is information that the public has a right to know, and the government has a responsibility to share. What are they covering up? Do they really expect me to believe that everything is kosher about all this, and that they are concerned first and foremost with my health? The last time they did this was with the Yemenite Children Affair. If you’re not familiar with it, look it up. Now they’re pulling the same shtick. They didn’t fool me the first time, and they’re definitely not fooling me now.
        22. The government can share our personal medical data with foreign corporations, but they won’t share their own protocol on the matter with us? I’m out.
        23. The establishment has recruited doctors, rabbis, the media, and the masses to harangue people who don’t want to get injected with a new drug. We are being called the worst sort of names. We are being told that we believe in crazy conspiracies, that we are against science, that we are selfish, that we are murderers, that we don’t care about the elderly, that it’s our fault that the government continues to impose draconian restrictions on the public. It’s all because we don’t want to get injected with an experimental treatment, no questions asked. We are even being told that we have a religious obligation to do this, and that we are grave sinners if we do not. They say that if we do not agree to get injected, we should be forced to stay inside our homes forever and be ostracized from public life.
This is horrific, disgusting, a perversion of common sense, morality, and the Torah. It makes me recoil, and only further cements my distrust of these people and my opposition to taking their experimental drug. How dare they?
        24. I know of many people who got injected, but none of them studied the science in depth, carefully weighed the potential benefits against the risks, compared this option to other alternatives, was truly informed, and decided this medical treatment was the best option for them. On the contrary, they got injected because of the hype, the propaganda, the pressure, the fear, blind trust in what “the majority of experts” supposedly believed (assuming THEY all studied everything in depth and were completely objective, which is highly dubious), blind trust in what certain influential rabbis urged them to do (ditto the above), or hysterical fear that the only option was getting injected or getting seriously ill from the virus. When I see mass hysteria and cult-like behavior surrounding a medical treatment, I will be extremely suspicious and avoid it.
        25. The drug companies have a long and glorious history of causing mass carnage with wonder drugs they thrust on unsuspecting populations, even after serious problems had already become known. Instead of pressing the pause button and halting the marketing of these drugs until these issues could be properly investigated, the drug companies did everything in their power to suppress the information and keep pushing their products. When companies and people have demonstrated such gross lack of concern for human life, I will not trust them when they hype a new wonder drug. This isn’t our first rodeo.
        26. Indeed, the horror stories are already coming in at warp speed, but the politicians are not the least bit concerned, the medical establishment is brushing them aside as unrelated or negligible, the media is ignoring it, the drug companies are steaming ahead at full speed, and those who raise a red flag continue to be bullied, censored, and punished. Clearly my life and my wellbeing are not their primary concern. I will not be their next guinea pig in their laboratory. I will not risk being the next “coincidence”.
        27. Although many people have died shortly after getting injected — including perfectly healthy young people — we are not allowed to imply that the injection had anything to do with it. Somehow this is anti-science and will cause more people to die. I believe that denying any possible link, abusing people who speculate that there might be a link, and demonstrating not the slightest curiosity to even explore if there might be a link is what is anti-science and could very well cause more people to die. These same people believe I am obligated to get injected as well. No freaking thanks.
        28. I am repulsed by the religious, cult-like worship of a pharmaceutical product, and will not participate in this ritual.
        29. My “healthcare” provider keeps badgering me to get injected, yet they have provided me no information on this treatment or any possible alternatives. Everything I know I learned from others outside the establishment. Informed consent has become conformed consent. I decline.
        30. I see all the lies, corruption, propaganda, manipulation, censorship, bullying, violation of medical ethics, lack of integrity in the scientific process, suppression of inconvenient adverse reactions, dismissal of legitimate concerns, hysteria, cult-like behavior, ignorance, closed-mindedness, fear, medical and political tyranny, concealment of protocols, lack of true concern for human life, lack of respect for basic human rights and freedoms, perversion of the Torah and common sense, demonization of good people, the greatest medical experiment of all time being conducted by greedy, untrustworthy, godless people, the lack of liability for those who demand I risk everything… I see all this and I have decided they can all have my place in line. I will put my trust in God. I will use the mind He blessed me with and trust my natural instincts. Which leads to the final reason which sums up why I will not get “vaccinated.”
        31. The whole thing stinks.

Yoho: “Ye shall be as Gods”? If they wanted to make humanity more, then they would have to inform us of their wish, and ask for our Individual consent. Some people, many people, want to live out their natural term and go onto their reward. But since they haven’t bothered to inform us, and instead have lied to us, they are obviously not seeking to make as Gods, but rather slaves. Probably sterile slaves since they seek radical depopulation.

I can tell you that the “Israeli” MSM of today is NOT Israeli. And it wasn’t Israeli for at least the last 20 years, when I was old enough to understand its contents. It is a Copy&Paste of the global Vatican/CIA propaganda outlets, a foreign occupation of foreign agents and foreign agendas. It is completely untrustworthy, and frankly, not I nor the vast majority of Israelis pay much attention to it. We know it is poisonous garbage, kept artificially afloat by foreign sponsorship, because as I said already, no one in Israel buys that shit.

    • Tate February 14, 2021 at 10:44 am #

      17 x 3 = 51 total states (rounded)
      17 x 2 = 34
      34 x 2 = 68 senate supermajority
      68 – 56 = 12 vote deficit to convict

      • MrMangoOnMyShoulder February 14, 2021 at 8:09 pm #

        Still lost. Music degree here.

        • Tate February 14, 2021 at 11:00 pm #

My son has a music degree but I can’t do what he does so no worries.

2/3 of the Senate is a supermajority.
2/3 of the Senate = 68 (rounded up to nearest whole even number)

Don’t be confused by the 17. 17 is 1/3 of the states but there are 2 senators per state. So 17 x 2 x 2 = 68. They only got 56 votes (6 Republicans) so they failed to convict by 12 votes.

          • Tate February 15, 2021 at 1:52 am #

Well, that’s embarassing. There’s no reason it has to be an even number. Two-thirds of 100 is 67. Also, 7 Republicans voted to impeach, not 6. So the impeachment failed by 10 votes, not 12.

Globalist Justin Trudeau says that refusing the jab could have “consequences” for Canadians. His only elaboration (at least that I’ve read) ties it to not being able to work if you’re in the public realm (i.e., most people).

Trudeau went on to say that the jab was “not mandatory, because that’s not how we do things here”.

He’s right about that. It’s not mandatory, unless you want to earn money, eat, have a residence, not be ostracized, etc etc. Luckily, I’ve long been out of the employer/employee dependency conundrum.

It’s the softer version of tyranny. Tyranny with a smiling, pretty-boy face.

How the majority of the populace doesn’t see this as a forced vaccination is beyond me.

Yes, some people die from this bug. People have always diues from bugs. But you would think people are bleeding from the eyeballs in the streets with this kind of response. Most people have no reason to fear (yet). But they are buying in by the handfull.

Well, impeachment proved to be a dud.

Now the Dems can get back to the serious business of choking off our national energy supply, opening up the borders to 3rd world hordes, rooting whitey out of the armed forces, and promoting drag Queen culture.

That about sums up the Dem agenda.

    • Soul Forensics February 13, 2021 at 6:03 pm #

Well, at least the Golden Golum of Greatness, if he survives, can now run again in 2024. He won’t make any headway against the McResistance. In fact, it’ll be even more uphill. I just want to see and hear him troll all the RINOs in the primaries.

      • Tate February 13, 2021 at 6:13 pm #

Not necessarily. There’s the 14th amendment.

        • Soul Forensics February 13, 2021 at 6:27 pm #

Sure. That’s what blaming Trump for the “storming Congress” bullshit was all about.

If it sticks, Trump can troll them by producing a new reality TV show: “The Devil’s Apprentice: Hunter Biden Or Bust”, in which three different contestants compete for the prize of windfall grift residing behind one of three doors. (The two losers will take home shale oil stocks and broken crack pipes.)

    • Tekapo February 13, 2021 at 6:06 pm #

      Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

Mitch McConnell votes not guilty, then gives a speech saying Trump was as guilty as hell. Working both sides of the street it seems, and with a cautious eye … I assume he believes Trump is toxic for the 2022 mid-terms … or something.

You must be heartbroken, Agent Insurrection.

        • Tekapo February 13, 2021 at 11:53 pm #

          “You must be heartbroken”

Not at all … the outcome was preordained, as we all knew. And I don’t care that much about beltway theatre.

Anyway – as I have mentioned previously – I thought this was a pretty weak impeachment charge … the standover of the Ukrainian PM was a more serious matter, in my view.

The real interest now is whether Trumpism survives the fading of Trump from the spotlight and from Twitter … hard to know which way things will go.

          • Night Owl February 14, 2021 at 2:18 am #

Agent Tekapo is heartbroken. He flaccidly tosses out some Ukraininan Foil to keep up the illusion.

          • Tekapo February 14, 2021 at 2:37 am #

Anyway Trump has gone, the impeachment is over, and the normal attention span of modern humans mean it will all be forgotten by next Thursday or so – when the latest piece of dramatic theater comes along.

TBH – I’m far more interested in debates about urban density, the misallocation of vast resources to suburbia (and the automobile), and … well … peak just-about-everything. And how we’re all going to survive and thrive in tough economic times.

Inside the Beltway is corrupt, and if you obsess over it too much, corrupting.

          • Night Owl February 14, 2021 at 3:14 am #

Yes, Agent Po, change the subject.

And of course I stand by everything I’ve said. I also have the distinct advantage that everything I speculated upon or assumed | predicted would happen, did in fact happen.

That is the great upside of not going down rabbit-holes of crazy conspiracy theories. I particularly liked the purported firefight in Frankfurt between the DoD and CIA – over a Dominion server.

McConnell talking out of both sides of his mouth shouldn’t surprise anyone, they all do this crap and go on with their fantasy lives of perceived importance, somehow sleeping at night.

Curious if you remember James Comey standing there for about a half an hour laying out evidence against Hillary five years ago in the press conference concluding his “investigation”. He laid out many illegal acts by Clinton. But that “she didn’t mean to break the law”…and then suggested he couldn’t imagine a prosecutor would be likely take on the case, so hey what the hell, we’re just gonna let it all go.

I was Astra-Zenica’d on Friday, JohnAZ. Bit shivery in the middle of the night for an hour and tired the next day, but fighting fit today. Hubby had Pfizer and experienced nothing at all, like you.

I’m in a small WhatsApp group of old school classmates. One lost her best friend to Covid yesterday and the friend’s daughter is now in hospital too with breathing difficulties. Another has a best friend who’s recovering but her father is dying of it and her husband has gone into kidney failure with it. And that’s out of a group of five people.

So I’m more than fine with my decision. Each to their own.

They are not going to leave him alone. New York is after him for tax and banking fraud charges. Georgia will go after him for meddling in their vote count. Manhattan is going after him for sexual assault and paying off Playboy models and porn stars and for insurance and banking fraud and financial statements that increased asset values for loans and deflated values to get out of paying real estate taxes. He did the same thing for a golf course in Los Angeles. In Chicago they are going after him for financial crimes related to his hotel. He is also in problems with Deutsche Bank/Buffalo Bills soccer team funding. He also paid advisory fees to Ivanka against tax laws (federal taxes) and NY Dept. of Taxation and Finance is also after him for the same thing.

They couldn’t nail him on impeachment as president. But citizen Trump’s problems are just beginning.

      • bigbill February 13, 2021 at 10:08 pm #

Trump’s needed to get a loan from Deutsche Bank to finance his purchase of the Bills, so he inflated his assets. Lying to a financial institution to get a loan constitutes bank fraud. They don’t like being lied to.

Both political parties have been a rolling joke since 2001 no? It was Donald Rumsfield, a Republican, that announced on 9/10/01 that the Pentagon lost somehow 2.3 trillion dollars. Then bam! 9/11 happened and that story disappeared. Those records were at the WTC? You are silly to believe you will ever have a “better polity” with such people “in charge”. Notwithstanding all the hoopla inside the Beltway – and all the discussion over whether the Democrats should have called more witnesses or not – the one huge takeaway, the one that will resonate for years with most thinking Americans – is Mitch McConnell standing there stating absolutely that Donald Trump is morally and practically responsible for the sedition, AFTER having voted to acquit him.

Cynicism and disgust at Washington DC has always been high, but this takes it to new astronomic levels. And the Democrats will play that clip over and over – in any context where Trump or any Republican tries to claim it was a Dem stitch-up.

The Dems win hands-down – even with the acquittal.

    • BackRowHeckler February 14, 2021 at 6:26 am #

The clip we will see over and over is Congressman Steve Scalise getting gunned down in DC by a Bernie Sanders supporter, and AOC cheering on mobs as they torched Minneapolis, Portland and Seattle the 2nd half of 2020 until the smash ups in Manhattan and Portland Saturday night.

Incidentally, are AGs investigating how the Biden’s bought that private island off the coast of the Virgin Islands, near Jeffrey Epstein’s place? All we know so far is that Big credit card company Lobbyists, the Chinese Govt, and Joe’s youngest brother were involved.

Or do AG investigations look only in one direction?

If this keeps up at some point The Party may announce during ‘Reset Hate Week’ that indeed, not only are we at war with East Asia, not Eurasia, but Global Cooling is the real threat we’re fighting, and have been fighting all along, and a new ice age will be upon us if you do not do as we say

Any Comrade Citizen who mentions Global Warming will be subject to arrest and prosecution. And the Party will quote Party Scientists and point to all manner and graphs and charts to bolster their Global Cooling claims.

Who’s the bald German dude talking about The Great Reset and the Fourth Riech? “You will own nothing and you will be happy”. IOW, you and I will own nothing; The Climate Czar — flying around the world selling us out to Global Elitists this very week … rest assured he will still own his private Gulfstream IV, 75′ motoryacht, and 6 mansions.

What? You didn’t grow up Skull & Bones, marry the ketchup lady, run for president despite having no charisma and then get a yacht and Gulfstream funded for by the lumpen?

Choices matter, brh. Maybe next time around?

Forgot “get to publicly pretend you’re saving the world while doing all of that.”

      Oh, and:
      * “funded by”…oops

In Moscow the cold weather spell is so dire that already at 5 in the morning there are traffic jams because the municipality services have not yet cleared the snow off the roads.

The arrogance of the “Global Warming” lies is simply stupefying. But I’m sure that Mrs Green will able to fish out some “scientific” propaganda BS to explain the opposite of what our lying eyes are seeing all around the globe.

      • JohnAZ February 14, 2021 at 11:55 am #

The same thing is happening in the Western Hemisphere. It is cold up north!! Not here!

Akmofo, do not fall into the same mistake being made by the Globalist power mongers. They have promoted AGW on not much data. It has warmed since 1980, BFD. We have a history in the Southwest of repeated 30 to 50 year droughts through the centuries where entire cultures have had to vacate and move. Science does not have a clue what is happening, the data they have says there is correlation between CO2 increasing and increasing temps and ice melt. Statistics 101 says that correlation does not prove causation. There is no proof that any of the AGW claims are true. None.

So we are going to go blow trillions, and possibly quadrillions of capital on a conversion with no proof that it is needed. That really sounds like a platform for the Democratic Party, spend, spend for no reason. Quadrillion. 1000000000000000.

Saying that, here is the rub where I will contradict myself. We have to do a conversion to alternatives. We CFNers mostly believe in Peak oil, thanks to JHK predictions. Peak oil will be complete by 2100. The effects are starting now but will be evident by 2050. We need to do something or a very rude awakening is going to happen.

The Trumpers are wrong, even if AGW is not CO2 caused, we need to start the conversion to do two things, one reduce particulate pollution which is killing people and two, counter Peak oil. We need oil so badly in the world for meds, plastics and agriculture, we need to preserve it. The oil companies will be just fine without oil fired transportation providing for everything else.

The Dems are really wrong. Their primary need is to spend, spend, spend. On whatever they can. They spend 24/7 trying to dream up new stuff they can spend money on. Well, those days are just about over, we are running out of capital, real capital. Running the presses is now going to inflate the dollar faster and faster. Weimar Republic, here we come. Think about a quadrillion dollars, whoa! The second item is really scary as the Dems are our representatives from the Globalists. The globalists are using the top two issues today to further their aims, Covid and AGW. And like the Dems in this country, the Globalists advance their goals by lying and cheating and promoting the illicit trades. We are losing the goodness of the world as the aims of these creepy crawlers advance. As Revelation says, at the end times, evil will seem to be winning until the intercession of God. The Beast will be vanquished eventually.

So, we need to plan to make the conversion to electricity as much as possible. Michael Moore tried to warn his fellow Libs of the folly of unlimited immediate GND thinking. This plan, over fifty years should be taken up by ready for this, Trump and the Deplorables. It needs to be a cooperation between government and the energy companies and just about everyone else. There are too many things that need to be done to make the entire thing possible right now. That is why the Biden plan, starve the supply will be catastrophic.

        We need as a start:

$20000 electric cars that go 500 miles on a charge

Nuclear power plants to provide enough, roughly 3x, electricity to charge all those cars, and at night. Wind and solar are a waste of resources, but have their place in providing a little energy. France figured this out a long time ago.

HVAC systems that provide heat and cooling at the same rates as what FF are providing today.

Clean coal processing, if we can sequester CO2, why can’t we get it out of the coal combustion along with the particulate. China and India would really love this one.

With this as the agenda, it should give the Paris Accord boys something to do. Well, it has been in place for ten years and NOTHING has been done to accomplish any of the above. Pure political theater. Let us see what science and High Tech can do to remove the issues, rather than just shooting off their mouths.

Do I think that global, bigger government can do this? I would not be a conservative if I thought they can. Government is needed to be a focus for solutions and execution but the private sector ALWAYS gets the job done. Think NASA, but not CDC.

Yup, we’re pretty much on the same page, JAZ, though I may be slightly more radical. 😀

ICE cars are a huge waste of resources. We need to see better urban planning and extensive use light rail services. I’m in favor of eliminating the automobile from most of the city altogether, and replacing it with electric scooters and bicycles.

As a source of energy, solar is becoming competitive. The issue with solar is intermittency and storage. Israel is working on the idea of pumped water reservoirs as large storage batteries:

          • JohnAZ February 14, 2021 at 2:46 pm #

            On your first, yes!

On your second, solar may be cost competitive but until batteries are made 100 times better, storage is a pipe dream.

They already do the water pump here, somewhere in California.

            It works.

There is no substitute for nuclear. Build it safe and build it soon.

500 miles on a charge? Where are you getting that number from – it seems wild in the extreme. What are they getting right now from a single charge? Nowhere near that, right? If the problem is not enough charging stations then build more. Or build an outlet right into people’s garages.

Or has there been some breakthrough in battery technology lately that I haven’t heard about? Last I heard, it was pretty stagnant.

          • akmofo February 14, 2021 at 2:39 pm #

The new solid state battery technology will give 1000 km/charge. These are only 3-5 years away from market.

          • Yohannon February 14, 2021 at 2:44 pm #

Damn, that’s incredible. How is it different? I guess I mean what does solid state mean.

These cars will become even more dangerous to Emergency personnel with batteries that powerful. But a great advance to be sure.

500 miles for road trippers. I believe the Tesla long range is over 300 now. People do not like to stop all the time to recharge.

Lots of R& D going into battery storage now, a major breakthrough will change the world. See Akmofo below.

            Cost and weight.

          • Yohannon February 14, 2021 at 7:24 pm #

So how much for a 500 mile charge? How much does it come to per mile compared to the gas of a car of comparable size, year, and make?

“The Climate Czar — flying around the world selling us out to Global Elitists this very week … rest assured he will still own his private Gulfstream IV, 75? motoryacht, and 6 mansions.”

Sounds like a good job…if you can get it….
