Reality has become so elastic in America now that it stretches to a cosmic event horizon deep in the Twilight Zone where everything is magically transformed into its opposite. Note The New York Times report on Thursday saying that the House Oversight Committee showed “no proof” in its disclosures of the Biden Family’s international money laundering and racketeering operations.

In fact, the committee outlined a shit-ton of documentation in the form of bank records detailing exactly how gobs of money from foreign lands were washed and rinsed through a dozen shell companies and disbursed to everyone in the immediate Biden family down to the president’s grandchildren. The committee’s preliminary report was precise as to the money’s exact origins, its journey through the laundering apparatus, and the owners of the bank accounts it landed in. Thus: No evidence of wrongdoing.

Meanwhile, another whistleblower from the FBI emerged claiming that an unclassified FBI document called an FD-1023 report exists detailing the Biden Family moneygrubbing scheme. Rep James Comer (R-KY) formally requested it from FBI Director Chris Wray, who has declined to furnish it on the grounds that the doc contains info from a “confidential human source” (CHS), and the bureau can’t compromise an investigation, blah blah….

Here’s an interesting take from a reader of this blog for your consideration:

I have had a theory that the FBI made Hunter Biden a Confidential Human Source.
They can pretend that they were monitoring CCP figures in the US and that Hunter
was in a position to provide them with counter intelligence. As with Whitey Bulger,
the whole business was just a scam to keep him out of jail on legitimate charges.
This would explain why the FBI’s Wray is claiming national secrets now that Comer
is closing in on Biden family corruption and influence peddling.

It would also help to explain why Hunter Biden has been untouchable despite clear evidence of firearms felonies, money laundering and influence peddling crimes. All in plain sight for years. This CHS bullshit has been used repeatedly by the FBI and DOJ to shield Democrats and their henchmen from legal jeopardy. Stefan ‘Hamburger’ Halper, Christopher Steele and various other foreign election meddlers have been shielded by the FBI under the pretense of protecting sensitive intelligence, methods and foreign sources.

Would they dare pull this one with Hunter? Why not? The DOJ and the FBI spent years sitting on his laptop stuffed with incriminating docs and videos, obviously shielding him. The people running these agencies must be liable now for a range of crimes running from obstruction of justice to interfering in a presidential election, to acting as accomplices in the Biden Family bribery crimes. Mr. Comer’s Oversight Committee has only just started. Soon, they will be hauling in witnesses, and even if the cable news networks and the big newspapers don’t report about them, there are too many alt-news outlets that can only be stifled by a Carrington Event.

Does the Party of Chaos actually suppose they can keep pretending “Joe Biden” will run for a second term? Articles of impeachment await for bribery, at least, and perhaps treason. At this point, the case couldn’t be more clear-cut. The House is solely in-charge of the impeachment process. The hearings will be brutal. A bill of impeachment would then go to the Senate for trial, as we’ve seen twice before recently. Do you think the mainstream media can avoid covering that?

You must conclude that there is no way that “Joe Biden” will run for president again. He may resign rather than face impeachment. And then what? I’ll tell you what: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. starts making-over the Democratic Party the way that Donald Trump transformed the Republican Party in 2016. Bobby Kennedy has the tremendous advantage of standing completely outside the matrix of corruption, lying, and Woke mental illness that the Dems have made of themselves, and the voters are going to notice, even if The New York Times doesn’t.

The people of this land are also going to notice how much damage “Joe Biden” and those running this fake president have done to our country. A federal judge in Florida temporarily stayed the lifting of Title 42 — the rule put in during the Covid-19 emergency that allowed border officials to turn away migrants on the grounds of preventing the spread of the virus. (Of course, they should be turned away for entering the US illegally, in the first place.) Do you think those tens of thousands waiting now on the Mexican side care about the legal niceties of all that? Watch them bum-rush the border starting today and keep coming for weeks on end, whatever our government says it’s doing.

Beyond that “Joe Biden” induced fiasco loom the ongoing banking collapse, the cratering on-the-ground economy, the humiliation of the failing Ukraine project, and the exposure of the vast harms done by the Covid vaccine crusade.

“The people of this land are also going to notice how much damage “Joe Biden,” and those running this fake president have done to our country.”

I don’t hold such an optimistic view. The brain cells of most Americans are so addled by drugs and brainwashed fake news, that I think most people haven’t a clue. According to the White House, the economy is going great, there is no inflation, and we are winning the war in the Ukraine.

    • MaryQueen May 12, 2023 at 9:44 am #

I don’t hold that optimistic view, either. Jim has continually predicted hearings and exposure by these top officials for years, it doesn’t happen.

I’m also not in the Kennedy camp. Anyone who runs for the Democrat party is just bolstering its coffers. And Kennedy is mainstream Dem as it gets. He’s the new populist sheepdog – because Bernie’s too old. He will rale against corporations without talking about how woke gnosticism has taken over their workforces. He’ll talk about the greed but not the indoctrination. I have no use for that.

      • Disaffected May 12, 2023 at 9:55 am #

He’s the new populist sheepdog – because Bernie’s too old.

Bingo! Plus Bernie pretty much shot his credibility wad in 2020. Even the youngsters see through his bullshit now.

Bernie made millions for the DNC. If that doesn’t turn one cynical, I don’t know what would.

Kennedy believes carbon dioxide, aka plant food, is a dangerous gas and is destroying the planet. That alone tells me the guy is not worthy of leadership nor is he grounded in reality.

        • Amman May 12, 2023 at 12:11 pm #

Kennedy has partial Climate Derangement Syndrome. Easily curable.

          • Beryl of Oyl May 12, 2023 at 1:54 pm #

            I hope so.

          • Night Owl May 12, 2023 at 4:53 pm #

He has made some measured statements about some of these topics of late.

I (an ex-Green) am about as certain as I can be that climate change and the concept of critical resource depletion are false narratives used for control. I think Kennedy is also heading down this route.

He has also made some strong statements against globalism, WEF, etc.

And he has pointed out on live TV that the CIA killed his uncle.

Far too early to make a concrete statement one way or the other in terms of his motives and his worthiness as a pro-freedom candidate.

          • Islander May 12, 2023 at 6:44 pm #

“Far too early to make a concrete statement one way or the other in terms of his motives and his worthiness as a pro-freedom candidate.”

            I second that.

He has seen through a lot of BS already.

        • megabeth May 12, 2023 at 3:43 pm #

Maybe Kennedy, you, I, and Joe Blow are just wasting energy entertaining the thought that humans can change the climate.

        • BackRowHeckler May 12, 2023 at 6:05 pm #

Kennedy is an environmentalist, but I don’t think he’s gone balls-to-wall for Climate Lunacy. He make appearances around here, talks mostly about clean water & protecting LI Sound, both worthy causes.

Limiting pollution, limiting waste, and a balanced approach to conservation are things most can get behind.

The thing that infuriates me right now is the destruction of quality greenspaces for the useless solar and wind scams that serve to enrich China.

      • megabeth May 12, 2023 at 1:11 pm #

Agree that Kunstler and his hearings are just a set-up for heartbreak.

RFK, on the other hand, is a sharp reminder to older apostate Dems like me of why they used to vote Dem. He may not make it through the primaries, but he *will* remind people with long memories about what fair governance used to look like. He could be a Gray Leader. That’s not nothing . . . and you know that monopoly as usual is not nothing. Even Zoomers and Millennials know that the huge trusts need busting. That, my friend, is Kennedy’s core message.

        • megabeth May 12, 2023 at 1:19 pm #

Monopoly as usual is no longer an option, I meant.

        • megabeth May 12, 2023 at 1:24 pm #

Gray Champion, as explained in the Fourth Turning.

Geez. I’m not even sixty and I’m getting senile. Maybe last year’s little omicrons are still nibbling at my brain.

        • BJ May 12, 2023 at 2:09 pm #

          I agree . . . .

I beleive the table is being set for RFK. Everything is in his favor. The greatest weapon
in his arsenal will be continuing to call and label him an anti-vaxer! When millions upon millions of people begin dying from these injections (in addition to those who’ve already passed) EVERYONE WILL BECOME AN ANTI-VAXER! More people have already become anti-vax. And that was in addition to those who already existed! That’s just one enormous and tremendous asset! There is no way to hide this anymore!

Secondly, they can’t stand Biden and would never – ever vote for Trump! I think Hillary knows this as well which is why she has the knives out! She was probably planning on exploiting it! A few weeks ago she got her buddy Seymour Hirsh to write a hit piece on RFK and JFK (Substack) and Bobby Jr responded by saying there are no “deplorables”
in his announcement speech! If there’s one word synonymous with Hillary – it’s certainly deplorables!!! This now solidifies he is a tremendous threat! Very thinly veiled fighting!

During the next 6 months the bottom will fall out of the economy – does and will anyone put their trust in either Biden or Trump? Never happen! We are entering very precarious times and people will be desperate for a savior – one that can actually accomplish and implement what he says – unlike Trump & Obama who both exploited the voters to serve themselves.

The Democratic party is desperate to return to the old party and not what it has since become – hence why so many of them switched parties and or voted for Trump. Give them what they want and they’ll come back! Put in simpler terms, anyone BUT Biden
          or Trump.

Trump won by exploiting the anger and hatred of Government – the pot has now boiled over! Every day Trump digs his own grave – he has always been his own worst enemy – people like what he “says” but can’t stand him! He has the intellectual fortitude of a teenager

ENTER Bobby Kennedy Jr. He has everything going for him – and even if the media
tries to censor silence and besmirch him – there are now other outlets! He started his campaign at 20% – that inarguable fact alone guarantee’s he has more than an ample chance!! Keep in mind how bad things will be a year from now? That will catapult him
          into office!

            The Debt Ceiling Charade

What exactly is that 30 trillion in “Debt” that We the People supposedly owe? The few billions in gold we stole from Venezuela, a few 500 ft. yachts stolen from Russian oligarchs. clear back to the Nazi gold and art we kept as spoils for victory in WWII are mere grains of salt in a figure so monumental.

The reality behind the US of A’s gigantic debt is that it is the sum total of profits from it’s position of Global Hegemon and owner of the reserve currency in the period since WW II. It can never be paid back, certainly not by the US Government. It can only be debased by dilution until it has no value by continuing the charade to its end point, or defaulted upon.

Who exactly is the owner of this debt? Countries outside of the reach of our military and financial coercion like Russia and China have been divesting themselves of US of A’s debt certificates as rapidly as possible over a period of several years and converting it to gold– not just paper gold but real bars of the stuff. The Western financial system has recycled government debt into assets on the books of banks and hedge funds where it is re-hypthocated into the mortgage on your home or loan on your car.

There is only one solution. Declare all loans denominated in US Dollars invalid. from the 30 trillion of Federal debt to the mortgage on your house. The value of the US Dollar will immediately drop to zero which is where it will eventually be once the full implication of the US of A not being able to print digital dollars to skim it’s “10%” from the wealth of the rest of the planet. Issue a new replacement currency— let’s call it the Greenback— and distribute $10,000 in actual bills to every Citizen of the Nation. $10,000 in Greenbacks for me, $10.000 in Greenbacks for Bill Gates and $10,000 for Jeff Bezos.

All hell will break loose in the US of A and the parts of the world still within the Exceptional Empire. But life will go on as it has in Argentina, commerce will return in some form, and people will create a new reality. It will not feature 800 US military bases all around the world. endless wars for profit and political dominance, and useless bureaucracies that indirectly absorb 25% of the nation’s activity.

            Bring it on!

            The Elections Circus

Anybody who still thinks that the American Electoral System represents a process for expressing the Will of the People needs to undertake a search for the missing brain cell that once rubbed up against its mate when they needed to produce something that once was called a thought.

            Let’s start with Number One.

Voting shall be the duty and privilege solely of documented Citizens of the Nation.

What kind of crazy country values it’s citizenship so poorly that it allows anybody with a fake driver’s license to choose its leadership?

—- Suddenly there would be no motivation for George Soros, the DNC, (or whoever is paying for it) to bus illegal migrants from the Darian Gap in Colombia to the US border and supply them with cell phone tracers and Democratic Party registration cards.

          • Islander May 12, 2023 at 6:51 pm #

BJ, I sure hope you are right.
And I sure hope that Bobby is even now putting together a very strong and thick-skinned Kitchen Cabinet of advisors and genuine experts on all facets of the valid activities of the Executive Branch.

So that he indicate to supporters who is part of his cadre.

Not like Obama—as soon as he won the election he named the Same Old Same Old Geithner and Summers and Gates etc. to cabinet posts. Penny dropped.

BTW, Michael Hudson in his newest (that I have seen) puts the blame squarely on Obama and Geithner for creating the “second shoe dropping” bank scenario we are now “enjoying” as paying customers shanghai’d to the show.

          • mrs_saj May 12, 2023 at 9:37 pm #

I’m trying to figure out your strategy to address the debasement of the US dollar. You have written that the US debt cannot be repaid, the dollar will go to zero, and some other currency will have to be issued.

But you didn’t seem wild about my gold comment, writing:

And if you cannot use it to buy things of utility (food, water, physical security) it has no value regardless of how many Inca kings and Spanish conquistadors worshiped it.

So what do you suggest? I’m not a crypo currency fan. But I do believe in owning land, specifically land that has access to fresh water, fish, livestock, etc. I believe in barter. I believe in precious metals as well as other currencies that are not situated as poorly as the US dollar.

Love him or hate him, understand that RFK Jr. is a Dead Man Walking. The likelihood that he will ever become President of the US of A is exactly Zero for a multitude of reasons.

My solution to the financilization of Western society and it’s product—endless war— has historical precedent. It’s called Debt Jubilee. It was a regular feature in some societies. Read economist Steve Keen for his analysis of the concept. It will cause all hell to break loose, but not to the extent that global nuclear war or kicking the can down the road to eventual collapse will. And the end result, be it Jim’s Long Emergency or the breakup of the Dis-United States of A has a chance of leading to a better world.

Mrs-saj, if you are looking for investment advice there are all sorts of individuals who will sell it to you for a price. Not me! Which doesn’t prevent me from pointing out that gold is no different than other items people choose to attach symbolic value to. Like a roll of $100 US dollar bills. Right now a big brick of solid gold hidden under the bed will buy you a nice farm in a place where water runs in the creeks and the soil is deep loam. If the marauding hordes from the Big City reach your doorstep a magazine full of .222 NATO cartridges for the AR15 is far more valuable than shiny yellow metal.

Thanks for the kind comment. I’ve been trying to stimulate some of the followers of this blog to engage in real issues rather than merely whining about their current frustrations or political fantasies. It is a shame to waste a forum with such a wide readership. Not much interest– I can’t even get anybody to disagree with me.

Why do you still identify as a Democrat? You will be held accountable by proxy. You realize that, right?

          • megabeth May 12, 2023 at 3:52 pm #

I really do not identify as a Democrat, but I was one up until I voted against Hillary in 2016. Right now, I’m an independent who votes for the least worst candidate, which tends to be a populist Republican. That will probably change with time, or I may just turn my back on voting for national candidates altogether if they don’t quit stealing elections. I live in Wisconsin, and I ampissed at how dirty its voting has gotten.

            Re: Election Circus

Read John Funds books on election fraud to learn how truly rampant it is. There are dozens upon dozens of ways to manipulate and corrupt the results. The image they conjure up is a joke. Dead people voting (true) but not nearly as profitable as the machines themselves.

Take for instance the Motor Voter Act which also happens to be Bill Clintons very first piece of legislation he signed upon entering office! That mere fact alone should’ve set off massive alarm bells. Obama was stated as saying we need to make it “easier” for people to vote – not harder.

It stipulates no proof of citizenship required when registering to vote! So unless someone turns the person in (your voting record is public) or the election is contested (less than 1%) millions upon millions upon million of people are voting. The epic lie and rallying cry to get them TO THE POLLS is that no one has ever been prosecuted for voter fraud not that it isn’t in fact rampant. Tantamount to saying no such thing as drunk driving if no one is ever prosecuted for that either.

It’s not the Presidential election that means anything but rather the small low turnout elections (congress and senate) where they really reap the rewards of the illegal’s voting. Your school board elections as well.

No one STOLE the 2020 election – it wasn’t rigged – they didn’t steal or cheat – all juvenile terms deliberately used to degrade the truth. It was in fact the most corrupt election in the history of this country that will also continue.

        • Phineas May 12, 2023 at 5:35 pm #

The fact that the Democrats will not allow him to debate during their primaries is reason enough to support his candidacy.

Much like President Trump evokes the visceral hatred of the left; more than enough reason to support him.

      • BJ May 12, 2023 at 1:26 pm #

When you refer to him as mainstream – who are you comparing him to – I personally don’t see it but am certainly open others opinions. On the other hand – I don’t think it’s fair to compare him to Bernie or many others because unlike the rest – he actually possesses the capability of enacting what he says. Who else has been suing the government to the extent he has?

Bernie was not an attorney but more importantly, who BUT the Kennedy’s know more about Washington AND how the game is played? WHICH IS IMPERATIVE! Precisely why Trump was eaten alive. There are no such thing as friends and or TRUST in Washington!

Bernie may’ve had good intentions and what became of it? Like all the rest – he was a brand and a gimmick. I also beleive the fame and fortune clearly affected him! They all wind up enriching themselves – Kennedy however already has fame and fortune – why would he ever put his life and his families at stake? In others words – there is NOTHING in this for him.

        • megabeth May 12, 2023 at 4:01 pm #

They did eat Trump alive. I’d still vote for him, but I would rather vote for the son of the man who kicked the mob in the shins. He *does* know how D.C. works, and he grew up in the heart of it. He’s unbundled, like Trump, a cut-throat, like Trump, but also connected in important ways for a reformer, unlike Trump.

          • megabeth May 12, 2023 at 4:03 pm #

“Unbundled” should read, “unbuyable,” but unbundled kind of works, too.

BobJun has already shown his true colors, I’m afraid.

The other day he came out against illegal immigration (so brave!), immediately adding that we should have more legal immigration.

Very Bill Clinton-esque. As if he doesn’t know that an illegal can be transformed into a legal by a show of hands in Congress. Or maybe by a stroke of the presidential pen.

      • SW May 12, 2023 at 3:14 pm #

I don’t know how much Kennedy says he believes. I had faith in Obama and voted for him the first time b/c he said specific things about fixing health care and did not follow thru on even one. Is Kennedy the same? Knows what to say and why everyone’s fed up? You may be right — he’s just luring the strays back to the reservation.

The DNC has already announced there’ll be no debates. I guess they’re worried Biden can’t stand on his feet much less think on his feet.

        • megabeth May 12, 2023 at 4:11 pm #

To answer your question, take a look at Kennedy’s record as an attorney who fought regulatory capture, then compare it with Obama’s record.

I fell for Obama, too, but probably should have known better, given his meager record of accomplishment in politics or in the real world.

Obama is a classic empty suit who just wants to smoke weed and play Halo. Obama is your boss’ shiftless nephew who landed a no-show job. Obama is so full of himself that he wrote a memoir when he was only 30. Obama accepted a Nobel Peace Prize for, I don’t know, hanging the toilet paper roll the right way, or something.

Kennedy and Obama are cheese and chalk.

          • BJ May 12, 2023 at 5:35 pm #

Bill Clinton said it best: Obama is the greatest fairy tale ever told!

His entire existence is a complete and total charade and farce.

          • Phineas May 12, 2023 at 5:45 pm #

obama is running the federal government along with Susan Rice and Valerie Jarrett. Dare I say these three are hell bent on destroying America.

        • BJ May 12, 2023 at 5:33 pm #

          Dear SW:

For starters, I consider myself a good judge of character – I pay more attention to what
a person doesn’t say, rather than what they do say. I don’t read what’s on the lines – but rather, what’s between them. I don’t listen to what they’re telling you – I always listen to what they’re NOT telling you! Truth, now ceases to exist. It’s exhausting having to behave with total skepticism and no longer being able to trust or take anyone at their word.

That being said and strictly thus far, I find RFK Jr to be a man of enormous intelligence, knowledge, honor, integrity and certainly courage. Unlike all the others he doesn’t repeat himself and is certainly NOT scripted. ‘Like Kucinch said, he cannot be bought or bullied.

I have watched him intently for the past 2-3 years and sensed he was going to run for POTUS about a year ago.

For the record I am neither Republican nor Democrat I do not vote nor ever have because I refuse to support and enable the corruption, cronyism and malfeasance. I do however follow politics religiously but merely to stay informed of the extent of the lies and subterfuge. For the first time in my life (thus far) I have hope he may be the very one and only person to actually save this Country!

Trump never had a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of hence the extent he has gone to to keep his tax records private. It was nothing more than a shell game – robbing Peter to pay Paul – bankruptcies etc. For the first time in many many many years Trump is now actually in the black because of the money he “earned” while being in office (same with the Clinton’s and Obama) which is why he too is so every desperate to get back in. It’s been reported he already amassed a billion dollars. He never drained the swamp and actually made it even worse – hence now doing everything possible to return him to the WH.

          • Phineas May 12, 2023 at 5:53 pm #

Donald Trump put together a real estate empire valued at 10 billion dollars. What have you accomplished in life? Do tell. I am breathlessly waiting…

          • SW May 12, 2023 at 6:28 pm #

BJ — I hope you’re right but for me, I’ll wait for more information. I don’t like that he appears to be neck deep in the climate hoax and have heard nothing about his views on transgenderism. I’ve always considered my political views liberal until they went into LaLa land and refused to participate in rational discussion.

I’m not an accountant but I do know that private business owners play a shell game with banks and some gambles pay off, some don’t. It doesn’t appear to me Biden’s finances could bear close scrutiny. I am, as are most Americans, sick of the corruption, lies, distortions, cover-ups, leaks and drama and would like someone who acts with integrity to be the President and set the example for other public servants (who act like movie stars rather than legislators). Is RFK this man? I hope so — someone needs to be.

        • BJ May 12, 2023 at 11:37 pm #

I beleive (thus far) RFK2 truly does believe most of what he asserts – name one president that hasn’t suffered from addiction – although RFK2 and his entire family certainly has – there seems to be (thus far) something very genuine and sincere about him – I think it derives from coming to terms with and educating himself – unlike all the rest he doesn’t appear to be manipulative (Clinton wrote the book on that) or completely and totally full
of shit (Obama). Two massive tell tale signs. There’s a certain honesty he conveys – as though he truly does feel our pain. If you read up on Obama and go back to his days in Chicago you’ll discover what a massive ruse he was. Same holds true for Trumps wealth!

Name one President/politician that was also not a sociopath? Again and thus far I don’t see these characteristics either!

I do however think he needs to tweak a few things – the story he tells about becoming a staunch advocate for SAFE vaccines needs to be made more concise and concentrated. Because of the misfortunate sound of his voice he’s better off doing written interviews. At times you can see he gets nervous which takes away from his message. I totally agree with everyone regarding his stance on climate change but not sure he needs to delve into transhumanism with so many other pressing issues. He needs to sell himself and drive home the point that he is truly a candidate for the people and not about enriching others. Trump can no longer say that.

          • D from OR May 13, 2023 at 11:53 am #

            Wake up.

RFK jr. is running as a Democrat to pull disaffected voters that may be inclined to vote for Trump back to the center.

He’s doing a Bernie Sanders – get it?

He has no chance of winning at all but makes people like you believe and participate in this sham.

They want your energy and belief that the system works. Go ahead and play but you’re Charlie and they’re Lucy with the football.

So true, cowbell. Ask a Trump hater about Russiagate. They will tell you it’s a proven fact, rather than a debunked fraud. The MSM has never set the record straight or admitted their lies and bullshit.

      • SW May 12, 2023 at 3:19 pm #

It’s amazing how many people think (still) that Trump was colluding with Russia. No amount of factual reporting will ever change their minds. And the same people believe despite reams of evidence (including Biden on camera talking about firing the public prosecutor in Ukraine) that it’s all “Russian disinformation.”

    • Cankerpuss May 12, 2023 at 10:34 am #

Same as you, Cowbell, I don’t hold much optimism. I’ve been reading JHK for a couple of years and I’ve read a lot of articles about how the shit is going to hit the fan one day but it doesn’t happen. The can keeps getting kicked down the road and nothing big ever really happens.

Now, I believe we are witnessing a controlled demolition of America. Slow and deliberate. So much so that the average person doesn’t really notice.

You state that the brain cells of most Americans are addled by drugs and brainwashed by fake news as the reason most Americans don’t give a rat’s ass about any of this. Although I don’t disagree that many Americans are dumber than a box or rocks, I do argue that there are still many Americans, who, like me, want to do something but we don’t know what to do about it. I’m just one guy with no voice. Do I take up my guns and bum rush the State Capitol? I end up in prison with out a trial or charges like the J6 people. Contacting our representatives does no good. The voting system is corrupted and everyone knows it. I think many Americans have incorporated a state of despair and are doing the only thing they know how to do. Keep their heads down and try to live out their lives in peace, unnoticed.

What else can we do? What do we do when our Constitution is nothing more than ass fodder to the people who swore an oath to uphold and defend it from the President down to the janitors at the FBI? When the whole system is rotten but powerful, what recourse do we the people have?

      I don’t know.

      • Wizard of the Saddle May 12, 2023 at 11:06 am #

Good analysis of the problem. I sorta fall into the category of keeping my head down and trying to just live well. I follow events and I give a shit, but I also despair over the lack of effective representative government to rein-in all of the corruption and insanity.

I stay black-pilled when I’m calm and lurch into being red-pilled when I am agitated. I think that describes a lot of folks these days.

I truly do hope our host is one day vindicated and that our national chickens truly do come home to roost – but I’m not about to hold my breath while waiting on that glorious day to arrive.

Come June 1, Canada will be a country in name only. That’s when Quebec’s notorious Bill 96, whose sole purpose is to force the francization of Quebec and ethnically cleanse the province of linguistic minorities, becomes law. That is a fact none of Canada’s mainstream political parties want to address. They’re too interested in winning votes in voter-rich Quebec to challenge the crypto-fascist government in Quebec City to defend the rights of anybody in that province who doesn’t have French as their primary language. And immigrants are getting the message. They’re avoiding Quebec altogether rather than risk getting fined or having personal possessions like cell phones and laptops that they use for work confiscated by the language police. i would urge Americans to take note because the very same thing will happen in large blue states through “diversity and equity” programs that are designed to stifle criticism of woke culture or require them to attend “re-education” or lose their livelihood.

      • cowbell81 May 12, 2023 at 12:53 pm #

Got to hand it to Quebec, at least they are trying to get rid of the minorities that do not speak the language. They should secede from Canada and form their own independent country. I wish parts of the USA would do this, mandate that you speak, read, write English and that you are not a pagan. Diversity is not a strength; it is a weakness used to divide.

      • Islander May 12, 2023 at 7:08 pm #

Wow, this is the first I have heard of this.

My grandson has spent quite a lot of time in Montreal, and he wants to study and live there.

I keep urging him to learn French, for various reasons, not only practical.

He says that EVERYONE speaks English, and they hardly let you speak French even if you want to practice your French. This may be because French speakers cannot bear to hear mangled French. Since Quebecois are all bilingual they might just spare their own ears by speaking English.

A website about Quebec City says this:

“Many Quebecois switch to English right away, not only if you don’t speak French fluently, but also if they detect the tiniest English accent. It is not rude to speak English in Quebec. You’ll always be able to find information translated into English, and citizens will be happy to share their gorgeous city with you.”

There are a lot of Americans and others at Concordia University (75,000 students) in Montreal. “English is the main language of instruction at Concordia University.”

        • Wizard of the Saddle May 12, 2023 at 11:21 am #

Well, having worked there, I’m sorta inclined to agree with that statement. Most people seemed like normal Americans with no real agenda’s beyond raising their families, serving their country, and enjoying an interesting and fulfilling career.

Of course, things have changed a lot since I left in 1992. When I was working in OS (Office of Security) it was an automatic denial of security clearance if an applicant was discovered to be one of the LGBTQ people. Now it’s a diversity hiring criteria. How times have changed.

But even back in the halcyon days of the Reagan Administration and DCI Casey my 25 year-old self was shocked, as a fresh new hire, to discover that the CIA was not, like the military, a portion of the federal government where folks of conservative views were in the majority.

I had wrongly assumed it would be right-of-center because Liberals in the 1970’s hated the Agency with a purple passion and so I just assumed that mostly conservatives would be applying for employment. I was quite wrong about that and I found way more liberals sitting behind desks in Langley than conservatives. I suspect it’s far worse today and I’m so very glad I bailed-out of there 31 years ago. It was a great early life experience, but not the anti-communist engine of freedom that I had naively had thought it was when the recruiters pitched me during my senior year in college.

    • Cankerpuss May 12, 2023 at 10:38 am #

Bobby Kennedy may have some good views on many things. I too like his stance on medical tyranny. However, Mr. Kennedy believes man can change the climate of earth. Mr. Kennedy believes that millions of windmills and solar panels will have no ill effect on the planet. Mr. Kennedy believes that a gas human expel and that plants absorb is bad for the planet. Mr. Kennedy is not grounded in reality and that makes the man a dangerous individual. Not fit for leadership.

      • D from OR May 12, 2023 at 11:17 am #

So completely agree on all the comments regarding RFK Jr appeal as a candidate. His climate change B.S. is just one of the points where he loses me.

He has passion and charisma but is not a leader.

In the late 80’s and early 90’s I lived near him in Bedford NY and would often see him at a little bistro my friend and I would go to because they had a smoking section (!). He would often be there but it was always with another guy or two having a pow-wow about something “important”. He had that air of knowing you knew who he was but in an area where the famous are common it stood out.

Back then we thought it was weird he was never with his wife and we knew he had kids. We were working as high-end nannies so we thought about these things.

Of course we know now during that time he was a serial cheater on his first wife and actual proposed to the second while still married. The one who later committed suicide.

The third wife, Cheryl Hines, doesn’t align with his stance on vaccines. Not sure how that works.

I like his disruption potential to the Democratic party but I have no hopes or wishes for him to be president.

Kennedy’s first wife was literally a boxing champion who used to batter him. She was so nucking futs that when they broke up, she hanged herself as a form of revenge, it is written. If I were married to such a harpies, I’d have cheated on her, too.

Also, men work. They derive a lot more from their careers than women do, as evidenced by the sheer numbers of older career women who end up lavishing misplaced maternal love on pets and causes.”

Re RFK’s first wife, let’s get down to it right now, ahead of the media blitz to try to destroy him as a candidate via his personal life.

She committed suicide two years after the breakup.
Option 1: The breakup caused the suicide.
Option 2: The suicide resulted from issues that preexisted and possibly led to the breakup.

[I left a plant here for Q, just to give him something to do. Sort of like finding the “Ninas” in the Hirshfeld cartoons.]

Whoa. Suicide as revenge? Yeah, that’s what happened….

By all accounts his first wife and second wife spent their time raising kids. The first had two and the second had four.

His personal life from the heroin addiction through current day is an open book.

Lol. You should have seen his Instagram before it was taken down. He doesn’t know the word “privacy.”

Do you know how many stories were done on Mary Kennedy’s suicide? I read one very in-depth one at the time in Vanity Fair.

You do know there was a wife before Mary though don’t you?

He’s on number 3. Get it right.

I see RFK, Jr. as an earnest man who has sensible views on some subjects and less than sensible views on others.

This alone renders him superior to 99.999999% of all other Democrats likely to run for that die party’s presidential nomination.

I do not get an “evil” vibe from the dude, but I do agree that anytime the Democrat Party is in power, evil is in the driver’s seat. The Democrat Party – as a whole – has morphed into an engine of evil. RFK, Jr.’s candidacy is a good step away from the extremism of the Wokies…,but that is also precisely why he won’t win the nomination. He is unacceptable to Wokesters who now dominate the party.

For this reason, I will be voting for the GOP nominee, and I fully expect Trump to be that nominee. It would be nice if DeSantis were the veep choice for 2024.

The DNC is a grifter organization. Any one who claims allegiance to that Mob is an enemy of America. Democrats violate the oath they take to oppose all enemies foreign and domestic. They are the enemy domestic. RFK, Jr. declared himself a Democrat.

I’ve received phone calls from two California leftists in the past week asking me if they should buy gold. Both men told me they heard that “some banks are in trouble” and thought their crazy prepper friend out in fly-over-land might have some insight.

If these half insane rabid leftists smell blood in the water then the jig really is up. After all, these people laughed at me when I abandoned my home in SoCal for the Rustbelt.

I forget who said it but an investor doing his thing during the Roaring ’20s said he knew the jig was up when taxicab drivers and shoeshine boys were dishing out stock tips.

Long story short, I told both men to take whatever money they had and buy something to enjoy because living in a large urban area with no access to clean water was untenable. After all, gold will do no one any good in an area of 20 million people without access to drinking water.

    • cowbell81 May 12, 2023 at 9:53 am #

Gold is a good asset to hold in order to diversify your portfolio. When the shit really hits the fan, it will give you some cache. It has been sitting right at the $2020/oz mark the past few days, after taking a tumble last week at a high of $2050/oz.

No telling whether it will keep going even higher or fall below the $2k threshold again. I have learned that the immediate moment is always the right time to buy, because no matter what you won’t be able to get the metal in hand when you actually need it or want it.

I still like silver as an every day metal for basic transactions, and think it is highly undervalued. Gold will go further for the bigger ticket items in the future world made by hand when there in no longer a functioning economy as we currently know it.

      • Cankerpuss May 12, 2023 at 10:47 am #

Gold is the currency of the future and a few States have seen the writing on the wall. In Utah, Nevada, Wyoming and New Hampshire there are being used as a legal currency a form of money called Goldbacks. Goldbacks are basically small amounts of gold infused between two layers of polymer. Using vacuum technology they can infuse small amounts of gold between these polymer layers. 1/1000th, 1/200th, 1/100th, and 1/25th of an ounce of gold. Right now 1/1000th ounce Goldback is going for about $4.25. it’s a good way to buy gold if you don’t have large reserves of cash.

I believe as the fiat currency continues to slide into worthless paper that the Goldback and other similar currencies will fill the void. It’s out there.

Humans by and large are stupid creatures, subject to herd mentality and group think. However, humans are also very creative and ingenious and once the age of the fiat currency has met its death humans will come up with something new and better. The Goldback may be the solution. It’s a way to have a precioius metals backed currency in even small amounts for smaller transactions. Pretty cool if you ask me.

        • mrs_saj May 12, 2023 at 3:40 pm #

Canker, my gold broker says there are 10 states and he cannot ship gold to me. Nevada us on that list of ten states. The gold grab is starting. If it can’t be delivered, you don’t own it.

And if you cannot use it to by things of utility (food, water, physical security) it has no value regardless of how many Inca kings and Spanish conquistadors worshiped it.

      • The Man They Call Zazelle May 12, 2023 at 11:22 am #

        Leviathan-Pegged Currencies

The apparent problem with gold is that it’s pegged to goverment. They have most of it. Once government is ‘gone’, then maybe gold can still be used independently… but even so, it’s still pegged to those who have more of it… like government.

        • cowbell81 May 12, 2023 at 12:01 pm #

Can you imagine what will happen to all of this gold when the government goes bust? I would love for the doors of Fort Knox to simply fly open, and the unwashed masses are allowed in to help themselves to the gold that is rightfully theirs.

          • The Man They Call Zazelle May 12, 2023 at 12:11 pm #

If or when any States cede it is possible that Fort Knox’s stash will be proportionally parcelled out to each State official setups. But that’s just a guess. I’d have to look it up and see what sorts of processes might be involved in secession. It’s an interesting question.

          • Paula D May 12, 2023 at 12:51 pm #

You actually think there is gold in Fort Knox?

          • SpeedyBB May 12, 2023 at 1:40 pm #

Yes Paula, I believe that the fact that Ft. Knox has allowed no inventory of its bullion in ages came out during the awkward admission by the Bank of New York that they did not exactly have the tons of German metal left for “safekeeping” against a sweep through Europa by Warsaw Pact tanks.

Or they had it but the Germans were not to be allowed access to their bullion.

“Can we take a peek at it? Just a little look from a distance?”

“Well … for a couple of seconds maybe …”

Then, the story goes, when Deutschland finally got their metal back across the water, they found the bars had been melted down and recast (don’t know if that was some or all). Vexed, they were thus obliged to melt away once more to ascertain the purity of the gold.

Not that the trustworthy Americans would do anything to debase the purity of the bullion. Or something. But still.

Fort Knox, it is assumed, is all but cleaned out. Ingots resting safely in Beijing. Poor Auric Goldfinger, standing there perplexed, with his dick in his hand.

          • cowbell81 May 12, 2023 at 1:41 pm #

I am on good terms with someone that went to Fort Knox in the 1970s when it was opened for inspection to a select group. I have no reason to believe he would not tell the truth on what he saw. Granted, who knows what has transpired there since then.

          • mrs_saj May 12, 2023 at 3:42 pm #

My instinct says Fort Knox is empty. Check it out. Do a little research. I’ve watched some documentaries on it. The auditing is suspect.

          • ThorsHammer May 12, 2023 at 8:37 pm #

And the doors to Fort Knox fly open, the hordes rush in and break into the lock boxes, and in each one is a note— IOU— Boeing, Google, Elon Musk.

      • Wizard of the Saddle May 12, 2023 at 11:42 am #

I am a PM kind of guy, so I endorse these views. I think we are seeing a new “floor” forming above $2,000 an ounce for gold. I cannot recall a time when it has remained above $2,000 closing price for so many days. The economic drivers of this are mostly long-term mega-trends that have everything to do with reckless spending, the national debt, and the continued devaluation of our fiat currency FRN USD’s.

More and more people sense that the end is near and when this musical cakewalk ends the American people will be left without a chair to sit in.

I am convinced that gold and silver will re-assert their status as the only real money. It isn’t for no reason that every central bank in the world is a gold buyer these days. Without sound money, most commerce collapses once the fiat money collapses. Holding gold and silver is always a smart play because a total, Mad Max, apocalyptic total destruction of civilization is not the most likely scenario. The most likely thing we face is a global depression and a collapse of globalist trade and unsustainable debt loads after a century of fiat money and central bank buffoonery. If civilization is otherwise intact, folks will revert to a gold standard and silver coinage will come back into vogue as well.

        • Jarek May 12, 2023 at 12:36 pm #

Many things can be used as money or “currency” – a way of transmitting value as a wire transmits electrical current.

In a high trust Civilization, the currency itself doesn’t have to have value. The National Socialists didn’t have any gold since it all had been stolen by the victorious Allies. But they had faith in their Leader and his Party. But what “backing” did they have? Their own strong backs and minds. Thus empowered, they enacted the economic miracle of Nazi Germany.

After all is said and done, we are the Gold – or we are not.

My favorite form of physical “money” was the Queen Charlotte Island shells the North Coast Indians used. Every bit as scarce as gold. It could only be harvested at certain times of the year in water three meters deep by using a special cedar rake. It found its way out to the Plains buffalo tribes as chest armor and was used to gamble and buy brides in the annual salmon fest at Celilo Falls on the Colombia river.

        • SpeedyBB May 12, 2023 at 1:46 pm #

Wiz, do you remember a time – not so long ago, perhaps the early 1980s, when central banks all over the map were belly-aching about having to store, inventory and guard tons of “useless metal”?

“What is this, the Roman Empire? Why are we spending good money to squirrel away gold ingots? Can’t we somehow save the trouble and expense and turn this bullion into real money?”

Ya sure don’t hear that lament these uneasy days…

      • megabeth May 12, 2023 at 4:55 pm #

Physical gold and silver, with gold divided by the gram, is liquid enough to bail a person out of a few tight spots.

    • hmuller May 12, 2023 at 10:00 am #

I disagree, Nickel. If anyone among those 20 million people gets clean water, it will be the people who have the gold. Alternatively, gold will fund their journey to a better place for survival.

      • hmuller May 12, 2023 at 10:03 am #

Not that I’m saying leftist Californians are worthy of survival.

      • NickelthroweR May 12, 2023 at 10:21 am #

        I think you are wrong.

The collapse of fiat will most certainly bring with it civil unrest and since cities were not designed for low-intensity conflict, they will lose sanitation as a consequence of a panicked public.

20,000,000 people that lose access to clean water and working sewers will immediately find themselves on the front line of an all vs all war for survival. After all, you can only live for a few days without water. Gold means nothing to a person dying of thirst.

Things are different where I live as there is no shortage of water and my land is large enough that I can bury my waste. I wont see hysterical thirst dying mobs but a slow trickle of people burning through their preps.

Everyone has this fantasy that they are going to run into the forest and live off the land when it all goes down but that is just a fantasy. The elements can kill you even faster than thirst.

        • Woodchuck May 12, 2023 at 10:35 am #

You can bury waste but burning the stuff is easier if you have access to a running wood heater. Depending on how squeamish you are of course. I’ve had situations on a farm in winter during bad weather when I was working in the farm shop. Traveling 200 yards to a flush toilet in cold rain was an unecessary hassle. It was easiest to poop in a five gallon bucket lined with a used plastic grocery bag. There was a fire roaring in the shop’s huge wood heater. I just tossed the poop in there and 15 minutes later it magically turned to a wad of dust with some minerals in it. Wood ashes are good for tossing into garden soil to sweeten it up a bit and add potassium and other minerals. The only other natural way to render poop harmless is with some rather messy and complicated poop composting systems.

          • The Man They Call Zazelle May 12, 2023 at 11:31 am #

            The Keepsake Turds

You can poop in a large composting bin situated underneath, maybe even on a floor directly underneath, maybe the basement, and with some sawdust, soil, and/or leaves and similar organics sprinkly-added to it, maybe per poop, once the bin is filled, you replace it with another bin and you leave it for a year or two to compost into a smell-free compost you can then add to your garden or soil. Maybe be sure to aerate and/or mix it. That’s how our outdoor gardens do general compost too. The microflora and fauna do the job of breaking down your turds into fantastic stuff.

Just don’t put any inorganics in it, and make sure it’s not too wet or dry. If you are doing it in a small bucket, don’t use a plastic bag for example, Maybe line it with paper/paper bag, but it, alone should also be compostable, depending on how it’s managed. It can also be dumped in a larger main composting container nearby.

As I’ve liked to say since my early 20’s, ‘Turds are for keeps.’.

I hereby raise a toast to everyone’s turds on here and a happy crap to all.

          • The Man They Call Zazelle May 12, 2023 at 11:34 am #

…When I wrote on a floor below, I didn’t mean directly on the floor, but rather in a bin situated directly below on a lower floor of the one you would be above.

          • The Man They Call Zazelle May 12, 2023 at 11:41 am #

Goldilocks-Approved Compost: Not Too Wet & Not Too Dry

…Oh ya, there are systems that split your peen at the source into a separate container, but it may be possible to do it all in the same bin if there’s some sort of drainage from the bin to a separate container (maybe look up, ‘compost tea’) or if very dry organics are added to absorb the added liquid. Again, compost shouldn’t be too dry or wet– Goldilocks-approved I guess.

          • Jarek May 12, 2023 at 12:40 pm #

Yes, the Law of Gravity really comes in handy here. Imagine if things fell up? Then you’d have to put the bin above your head and “duck” as the poop rose up into it. Or poop while standing on your head.

          • hmuller May 12, 2023 at 3:42 pm #

Yes Jarek, gravity is underappreciated in the waste disposal business
I’ve heard that without gravity men must deal with enormous long lasting boners. But if so, the folks on the orbiting space station are not talking.

Outhouses were legal in Massachusetts until fairly recently.

My family lived for two summers in a house with no inside plumbing. It was not a shack. It was a lovely old large, comfortable house with numerous bedrooms and a pump in the large ironstone kitchen sink. It was the parsonage of the Congregational Church, sited next to the church. (I guess they didn’t have their own pastor at the time.)

Anyhow, the Jaguar (“two-seater out back”) had two very nicely fashioned holes in a wide wooden board, one of them a small one for children so they would be safe when using the facilities.

In those days (I think we lived there in 1959 and 1960) a lot of houses, especially camps, still had outhouses. I assume the poop just quietly composted in the pit. I never heard of a public health emergency arising from outhouses. Our guests loved the Jaguar.

I was unable to locate the date when outhouses were made illegal in Mass., but here is a list of their status in all states:

Interesting! Might affect some prepper’s decision-making.

lyrics to an old popular country song “Ode the the Little Brown Shack Out Back”. The music part is great and is on you tube. When I was in Catholic School somebody managed to bring a 45 vinyl recording of it to class and got it playing on the class record player we had acess to after school. Us boyz loved the song and the nuns got pissed about it and told us not to play it anymore – that the song was “unrefined”. We’re talkin’ way back in the early 60’s here.

They passed an ordinance in the town
They said we’d have to tear it down
That little old shack out back
            So dear to me
            Though the Health department said
It’s day was over and dead
It will stand forever in my memory
            Don’t let ’em tear that
            Little brown building down
            Don’t let ’em tear that
            Precious building down
            Don’t let ’em tear that
            Little brown building down
For there’s not another like it
In the country or the town
It was not so long ago that
I went tripping through the snow
            Out to that house behind
            My old hound dog
Where I’d sit me down to rest
Like a snowbird on his nest
And read the Sears and Roebuck catalog
I would hum a happy tune
            Peeping through the quarter moon
As my daddy’s kin had done before
It was in that quiet spot
            Daily cares could be forgot
            It gave the same relief
            To rich and poor
Now it was not a castle fair
But I could dream my future there
            And build my castles to
            The yellowjacket’s drone
I could orbit around the sun
            Fight with General Washington
Or be a King upon a golden throne
It wasn’t fancy built at all
It had newspapers on the wall
            It was air-conditioned
            In the wintertime
It was just a humble hut
But it’s door was never shut
And a man could get inside
            Without a dime

          • Islander May 13, 2023 at 9:33 am #

            What a fine little ditty.

I love the suggestion that going to little hut was an opportunity to commune with nature, and muse . . . about one’s place in the Universe??
            Seems appropriate, somehow.

In that vein it is interesting that the ideal middle class “bathroom” is as close a possible to a walled-off cell where the only intrusoin of “nature” is the water, and the poop.

Not to mention that the whole “bathroom” concept is anathema to most cultures, who carefully separate the water closet from the bath.

I have a dim recollection of the period when the expression “go to the bathroom” became standard US-ian English for you know what.

Cute, Woodchuck, thanks for sharing. I doubt I could ever have written that sort of thing about that because I was just happy to get in and then out as fast as possible, especially in the middle of the night and Canadian winter.

@Islander sounds nice and as for the outhouses, I guess that’s how it was done…

Summers growing up were spent at many of my family’s, friends of family’s and friends’ country cabins/cottages/homes by or near lakes, sometimes with no electricity, no indoor plumbing or even road around the lakes (only accessible by boat). Never wanted to return home and absolutely hated when school was about to recommence.

The dystopian future you are describing is why I will always keep the last round in my gun’s chamber for myself. I’m not afraid of death and I certainly won’t force myself to live through what you are describing.

I try to hold a slightly more optimistic view. I try to believe that there are more good people out there than bad people. The bad people have the bull horn, they are the ones making the noise that we hear the most. However, many people have good hearts and just want to live in peace and help others. In the event that you describe, I would like to hold to the hope that good people help one another and will help the less fortunate. I may be wrong, but I can’t believe that out of 20 million people in a city that at least half of them would be willing to help others and work out solutions to the problems before they start eating their neighbor.

But then again, what do I know?

          • Woodchuck May 12, 2023 at 11:38 am #

” I may be wrong, but I can’t believe that out of 20 million people in a city that at least half of them would be willing to help others and work out solutions to the problems before they start eating their neighbor.”

This one is also for Jarek. How about a city in Senegal, Africa – filled with black people who instead do much better in being both helpful and non racist?. On the you tube channel “Itchy Boots”, Noraly in the latest episode is in a crowded 3rd world ramshackle city in Senegal looking for a boat to take her and her motorcycle across a body of water to the Saloum Delta. She is literally surrounded by hundreds of young black adult males and teenagers. They are very friendly and she has no trouble finding people who speak English or French. She is directed to a boatman who gets a bunch of guys together who load her luggage and her motorcycle on the relatively small boat. Such scenes of friendly and civil behavior don’t occur in most of the USA. We are a bunch of barbarians. Right Jarek?

          • NickelthroweR May 12, 2023 at 12:39 pm #

Of course, there will be plenty of people that would like to help – at least at first. Providing clean water to 20 million people in an area that doesn’t naturally produce that water is insurmountable. It doesn’t matter how much you might want to help especially in a world where most do not know their neighbors.

Maybe you can enlighten me. Fiat has collapsed which has caused civil unrest and has trashed the grid. Clean water isn’t coming out of the taps and you can’t flush the turds away. You live in an apartment in a dense urban area and all the social services (police, fire, ambulance) have ceased.

            How do you help?

          • Jarek May 12, 2023 at 12:45 pm #

Woody: You can’t see the police that have been arranged to be there so she isn’t robbed and raped. It doesn’t fit the plot, so the camera doesn’t show them.

Some years ago a plane crashed in Lagos, Nigeria. The fire and rescue couldn’t get to the plane because of the huge crowd robbing the bodies and taking the luggage.

Let’s face it: You haven’t been around much. Not really. Wherever you went, it was always with the same kinds of people or to place with the same kinds of people. You just don’t know any better.

          • SpeedyBB May 12, 2023 at 2:00 pm #

Not just Africa either, Vlad. When the thrust reverser on an engine popped open soon after takeoff on a Lauda Air 767, tearing the aircraft apart and sprinkling bits all over Mae Sot, near the Thai border with Burma (Myanmar today), authorities were beat to the crash scene by hordes of eager locals in pickups, scouting for swag among the bits of bodies – poor folks don’t ride airplanes to Europe.

Anything that looked expensive was snapped up and spirited off before the Thai military and police had a chance to cordon off the are. In the event, they had to ransom the flight recorder off some enterprising citizen who’d snatched it up.

I found this curiously puzzling, as practically all Thais are obsessed by spirits – particularly angry ones – and there must have been a couple of hundred whirling around that smoky scene of carnage that day.

          • hmuller May 12, 2023 at 3:50 pm #

Speedy, how horrible. It’s like being victimized by a whole tribe of asiatic Sam Brintons who aren’t too picky about what they wear – so they’ll steal all the luggage.

“Woody: You can’t see the police that have been arranged to be there so she isn’t robbed and raped. It doesn’t fit the plot, so the camera doesn’t show them.”

Nope, try again. Noraly goes on all these motorcycle trips solo. The only reason her video is so good is she’s got all the latest ultralight drones and cameras that can produce amazing images. She’s also very skilled at video editing and even has online courses available on just how she does it.

Your problem is you can’t believe that black people in Senegal behave a lot better and are more civilized than most people in the USA. Not only that, but there are young black males around her that can speak French and English. Go to a typical US white neighborhood and see for yourself how many people you meet that can speak French, Dutch, German, etc. These people you think are savages are actually in many ways better educated and with better manners than we are in the US. Go watch this video and some others on her channel. She has no police or camera crews following her around. She was smart when she rode through the Western part of the USA on route to Alaska. She stayed on the gravel backroads and dirt trails where she was safe. She wouldn’t have been safe in some city like LA

          • Suburban_elk May 13, 2023 at 7:26 am #

Yeah Woodchuck, people are generally happier in their homelands, such as those blacks in Senegal. No disagreement on that. It’s when different groups of people are forced together, and then eventually the abundance is gone, and then what?

My vision of the future of the US is a bit different. In my opinion, after the dollar dies and is rejected for use in international trade such giant projects like 1000 mile long canals, high speed rail, giant wind and solar energy farms etc. – will no longer be possible. For one, the diesel fuel, concrete, and other basic resources for conducting giant infrastructure projects won’t exist. Concrete is made from nat gas and we import most of our diesel. “Giant drinking straws” will never be anything more than a fantasy for people with life styles that will be mostly third world. Poor people will be moving away from Ca in the opposite direction under conditions similar to those described in “The Grapes of Wrath” – one assigned high school reading book that I enjoyed.

Nonsense. Gold has been money for 5000 years and will always be. You make the same mistake so many low-IQ “conservative” Trump haters do… failing to realize there is always a choice between two alternatives, even if you think they both are sub-optimal.
Trump’s America vs Biden’s America… which is better?
Gold… or un-backed fiat paper? Which will hold value better?
When the SHTF, a lot of things will move into a “barter” type of economy… think your fiat will be better then than gold or silver?
      “Come ON, man!!”

      • elysianfield May 12, 2023 at 11:17 am #

The fallacy of your argument discounts other options… other trade goods. Gold is but a commodity that is relatively liquid…it’s general acceptance provides for liquidity at some point, and a general recognition of value…at some level. In times of…stress, what would you rather have, a gold 1/10th round, or a 50 round box of 22lr ammo?

The box of 22lr ammunition will have great interest among people bent on survival…who you gonna sell the gold to? What will be the mechanism of transfer? Expect change from the transaction? In what form? There might be a local gold buyer, with an armed escort visible, that might give you a take it or leave it price.

You may not like the price.

Gold can be a store of value, but requires the rule of law to be an orderly, equitable transaction.

I owned a large pawn shop. Owned pounds of gold. Kept none of it.

Pre 1965 US silver coinage is more useful than gold for barter. Try getting change for your Krugerrand at a farmer’s market and you’ll see my point. Lots of silver dimes work better.

The precious metals versus guns and ammo argument seems faulty to me. You can have both. Indeed, you need both. And of course, you have to be careful who you deal with, where, when, judge the safety of the situation

          • elysianfield May 12, 2023 at 8:33 pm #

Silver coinage…in this you are absolutely correct. Value established, universal recognition, small enough value to make sense.

About a year ago, I was in the market for a $1000 bag of Mercury Dimes. EVEN THEN they were demanding a 30% premium. If I need to be raped, I can commit a felony crime, or hire a good lawyer…or both.

Well, had no barrel of milsurps. In 1985, when I sold the place, the number of guns on the racks and for sale was…950+. This number did not reflect the hundreds still in the vault pledged on loan.

It was a hobby with me. I expect I had, by far, the largest inventory of guns for sale in Oregon. I was an enthusiast.

Oh, haggle we did! The name of the business was “The Traders” and I always preferred to trade than to sell.

        • Anthea May 12, 2023 at 6:10 pm #

          @ elysianfield:

First of all, you would only transact in gold–and maybe silver too–with a few trusted people. You shouldn’t have to worry about them trying to stick you up, as you would have a relationship with them, probably a trade relationship as well as a friendship. E.g., I have friends who are farmers and market gardeners. I could buy food, including meat, from them. Some denomination of gold would probably buy me a hog or a side of beef.

I’ll bet that there are quite a few people around me who have some gold and silver stashed away. (I would never ask them, at present.) I think they’d be very happy to accept gold or silver for purchases of food and other necessities–and so would I. I think the Pakistani guy down at the gas station would accept silver for gas–though both he and I would prefer that no one saw this transaction. (We would pretend we had some other business we needed to talk about in private.)

I think I would find that most people would prefer not to use their PMs for purchases from me or anyone else at first, but once they saw that they could be paid in PMs, as well as buying with them, PMs would start to circulate as money in a small way.

And, speaking of ammo, I think the guy down at the gun shop would be happy to accept PMs.

            @ elysianfield:

Much depends on where you are. My area is quite rural–though we are still a little too close to the city.

I guess the scenario I’m describing is one where no one has any money or any way to get any–and leaves out possible violent intruders, which are a certainty. What the local people will do about that, I don’t know.

        • Suburban_elk May 13, 2023 at 7:36 am #

Anyone transacting in gold and silver, will be marked by bad actors for raiding, if it comes to that. I don’t see how to get around this, except to throw it all in the river. There is a story of some guy in Germany, post-War, who did this, threw his precious metals in the river; couldn’t deal with the stress of it.

The Scythians were the best of the best, and they owned two things and two things only, their horse and their chalice. This whole culture of having to accumulate as much things, or stores of value, is the wrong way. It’s really a sign that we DON’T live in a society. If we lived in a society, you could place your stores of value in society.

I adhere to the Michael Hudson petrodollar explanation..

As long as oil is sold only in dollars, every country in the world has to obtain dollars in order to buy oil, which, obviously, every country needs.

That gives the US the power to create money at will (not “print money”, that is outdated).

When the petrodollar goes, the US power and control goes.

That is why they kill anyone who tries to leave the petrodollar. But now, it’s getting to be out of their control.

          Expect a major escalation soon.

          • SW May 12, 2023 at 3:49 pm #

Saudi Arabia several months ago agreed to take other currenties for oil so it’s hard to say when this house of cards will fold. We don’t have the military power anymore to force countries to toe the line — or else. Libyan dictator Gaddafi was murdered b/c he was trying to set up a system of payments that decreased US influence and we know what happened to him. I like Michael Hudson’s explanations on economics too.

I don’t see any way out of this abyss other than through revolution. That we can vote ourselves out of this morass of terminal moral decay, financial collapse, imminent war, and the piecemeal destruction of the rule of law is a canard. Those who seek the death of our Constitutional Republic are too firmly entrenched at this point. The corpus of the American political system, nay, American society itself, is too diseased at this point.

One can always hope for a miracle, but I think it fair to say that God ceased shedding his grace upon us some time ago. Time to ride the whirlwind.

I would add that I am not advocating revolution; rather, I am merely making an observation as to what may occur should this train wreck continue at the current pace. As I had mentioned in a comment a week or two ago, we wish to live our lives peacefully and without persecution and/or the infringement of our rights.

      • Cankerpuss May 12, 2023 at 11:04 am #

Revolution won’t work. We don’t have a George Washington to lead us through the war and then when the war is one retire to his farm to live out his life in quiet peace. Revolution today would be like France. People killing each other for entertainment purposes without really knowing why. Most people have anger, hate and violence in their souls. Just look at the movies they make today. It’s all violence, horror and slasher movies. Rarely do they make a movie about families loving each other or doing good for their neighbors.

I predict the country breaks down into pockets of tribes. Each migrating to his own tribe. Some tribes are better than others. Then we end up in tribal wars.

I wonder what’s going to happen to all those pools of spent nuclear rods.

          • badberries May 12, 2023 at 12:41 pm #

Zaz, you’re singing to the choir on that.

I’m certain that many, many squads of well trained, diligent, reactor savvy technicians will show up.

They will maintain a safe monitoring of the Fuel Rod pools as well as the reactor core.

All accomplished without the benefit of electricity.

Oh ok, thank goodness. I was worried about that.

At least we don’t have to buy uniforms. Skin color will do. The bad Whites will be masked and/or wearing skinny pants, and/or nose rings, and colored hair.

          We’ll be the naturals.

The “bad” whites will get no mercy from the other team…atomic noogies all around!

      • Ron Anselmo May 12, 2023 at 11:06 am #

SEC – you are right. Agreed, for all the reasons you mention, there is no way out of the abyss other than through revolution. Why not advocate for revolution then? I do – it’s all they will understand.

All over the world, since the beginning of time, it’s been the answer to shedding the yoke of tyranny. Some things just must be done – the Founders (revolutionaries) saw the need.

Are we too old now? Ben Franklin signed to Declaration of Independence at 70 years old. He, as well as every other signatory, knew exactly what awaited them, should they fail – a rope.

We talk but lack the will. If we don’t fight for our way of life – we deserve what we get. The last American man was Eustace Conway.

        • Cankerpuss May 12, 2023 at 11:11 am #

Yes, but who will lead? Where are the Statesmen? Donald Trump? Let’s face it, we have no leadership. There are no George Washingtons anymore.

          • Ron Anselmo May 12, 2023 at 11:17 am #

Plenty of leaders out there. That’s no excuse. We lack the will. Why? We think we have too much to lose. We fail to think about what we (our children) have to lose if we don’t. The Revolutionary War was fought with 3%.

If I line up 100 men and ask who will give up everything, who will fight? There won’t be three hands. We lack the will.

          • Second Earl of Rochester May 12, 2023 at 11:53 am #

You will lead, and I shall lead. A thousand hands will rise, and a chorus of “I shall lead” will boom. We are the light against the growing darkness. We shall shine brightly in the day to come when evil is stricken from this great land.

          • Ron Anselmo May 12, 2023 at 3:39 pm #

            I like it!

“If I line up 100 men and ask who will give up everything, who will fight? There won’t be three hands. We lack the will.”

You should at least have ten or twelve hands raised…should be at least a half a dozen Fed and local law enforcement agents in a group of that size….

          • Ron Anselmo May 13, 2023 at 12:34 pm #

E – you’re probably right on the numbers, 10-12% in some form of law enforcement. A thought-provoking eye-opener in itself.

The (or my) question then becomes – fight on whose side?

Every single one has been sworn to uphold the Constitution – not much of that going on these days – especially the Feds. Unless they are personally known to me, I don’t trust them until they prove whose side they’re on.

Many fail to realize that a County Sheriff is the highest constitutional officer in the land – over the Feds even. That’s why, if any vote is crucial – make your vote for county sheriff count.

Our Sheriff has stated more than once, if federal law enforcement officers try to enforce certain federal laws on gun rights in our county, they’ll be spending the night in HIS jail.

Many fail to realize also, that the local police chiefs & officers serve at the will of city commissions – they are beholden to them for their jobs. Think about that. Ever wonder why many seem to be standing around in times of obvious need?

They are standing down as dictated by their “bosses” – following orders of the vast majority of leftist city “leaders” – in violation of their sworn oaths. Unless they are personally known to me, I don’t trust them until they prove whose side they’re on.

Fortunately, I live in a county where there are only two municipalities – so, a Sheriff and two Chief’s of Police. At their request – after having seen me speak at public meetings – I’ve had lunch with each of them. To say they are each impressive men, each with staunch character is an understatement.

At the risk of losing their jobs, the Chiefs have held firm to their oaths in defiance of some city “leaders” and of course, the Sheriff has no boss.

During the George Floyd nonsense, Antifa/BLM show up at the downtown college campus, and locals show up too in order to push back. The Chief of Police is told to stand down – policing only the locals.

The next day, he resigns his $150K position and starts work the same day as a code enforcement officer for $60K per year. Who does that? A man with a conscience and incredible self-respect, that’s who.

Rural NE Florida is an incredible place to live. Our officers uphold their oaths. Many around our country have violated their oaths over and over – poisoned by leftists. They’ll be the ones rounding us up. No matter where one lives – it’s imperative to know your LEO’s.

Call or email them and ask them to lunch, you’d be surprised how receptive they are. There’s a person behind the badge – get to know them. Your life may depend on it someday soon, one way or the other.

If they are on our side, I agree with you 100%. If not, when push comes to shove, heaven help them too.

          • Second Earl of Rochester May 12, 2023 at 11:49 am #

I always thought myself a prudent and above all, a cautious man. This said, when one is left with no choice (forced into a corner with no avenue of retreat), it is amazing to behold what one is capable of. One day soon many of us will find ourselves in a position where the absence of action will be out of the question – a position where action is a necessity. Most, if not all, major events in human history are the result of time and pressure. Then what follows is inevitable. Trust in the Lord and remember that this life is transitory and that what follows is not the end, but the beginning.

          • Ron Anselmo May 12, 2023 at 12:28 pm #

SER – Your comments are very wise & well-noted. I think we’re already in that corner though, but many fail to realize it. Better said, I think many realize it, but still choose inaction, hoping it will sort itself out. It won’t.

Action is needed – meaningful action – and I don’t mean letter-writing, subpoenas, investigations, hearings, perjurious testimony or even voting – in short, the continued dog & pony shows.

As you say, we may fight when we have no choice, or nothing left to lose. However, my 20-year-old son, with the wisdom of ages, says that if we wait until we have nothing left to lose – it’ll be too late – we need to fight now.

He gives me faith that some in his generation see with clarity and further, see what is needed to preserve our way of life.

If it comes to a fight tho, the problem is that it’s gonna be We, the Lowly Nobodies, fighting against the other lowly nobodies.

I don’t wanna live around blacks, I don’t hate them personally, but they are already doing sorties, to the tune of dozens or hundreds per day. Despite the denials of bien pensants such as Woodchuck, the evidence is all over the internet, not to mention our own lying lies. I had a gun pointed at me at the gas station, this here in a “good suburb,” for disputing access to a pump, by an American ghetto black. Believe me, he was in the wrong, but he saw me as not ceding to his black prerogative.

Some old timers, who are not still in the thick of it, and retired from the bullshit of striving power mad male interaction, don’t know how it is. They would ask that we “just be nice” — it doesn’t work that way, the real world.

Males gotta compete for females, and you have to be dominant to get any success, and group dynamics favor those who work together.

Welcome to the New Age, as goes the pretty good techno pop song from a few years ago.

          • Ron Anselmo May 13, 2023 at 1:16 pm #

Elk – I hear ya, and I agree. Don’t call yourself a lowly nobody though – I’m certain it’s not true.

Funny, but I had an almost exact same experience at a gas station pump, but it was some crazed meth head on a rural country road.

His problem was that when he threatened me with a bat, he ended up on the wrong end of my gun. Like American Express – “don’t leave home without it”.

“Males gotta compete for females, and you have to be dominant to get any success, and group dynamics favor those who work together.” ~ Suburban_elk

If anyone should know this – you should! The dominant bull elk in the rut is the only one who gets to mate – keeping his bloodline going.

One of the Creator’s lessons that has been lost on humans. We ignore or dismiss nature at our own peril.

      • Cankerpuss May 12, 2023 at 11:06 am #

      • Cankerpuss May 12, 2023 at 11:07 am #

I mean, the states can’t even come together long enough to hold a “Convention of States” and correct some of these problems. The States still have the power under that old, derelict Constitution but they are so polarized they can’t come together to do anything with that power.

Second Earl, well said. I feel the same way. JHK is always hopeful that that the system will heal itself. I don’t share the same hope. Not going to happen. The rot exists from the top to the bottom, from the President to the janitors. Nothing will fix it other than divine intervention.

Not to get religious on you but are we not living in times that have been prophesied about in the holy scriptures for millennia? is this not the time that will precede the second coming of the Lord God Jesus Christ? The current order of things is dying. It is in its final throes of death. We all know it. We all can sense it deep down in our guts. We all know that we are not meant to live this way. Most people are living lives of lies and deception. They don’t own their homes or their cars, buried by debt and addiction, wearing too much make up to hide their flaws, hiding behind curtains of perfection on social media. The current order is collapsing and I hope will ultimately terminate in the second coming of one Jesus Christ who will restore order, peace and finally bring judgment and justice to those who truly deserve it.

Just my thoughts and hopes. No man knoweth the hour of his coming but the signs will tell us we are getting close.

      • Anthea May 12, 2023 at 7:03 pm #

        @ Cankerpuss:

There have been times and places in history that have been far worse than this, and the old order of things has passed away hundreds of times before–though in a localized way.

The present is unique in that we are looking at the collapse of a worldwide order. In the past, empires could collapse and for most of the rest of the world, it was a distant rumor, if they heard about it at all.

The thing about the Second Coming is, Jesus Himself said that “no man knoweth” the time, only the Father. So he didn’t know, Himself. If I were to guess, I would say that the time of the Last Judgement is delayed due to God’s mercy, to give people time to repent. Thus, I would suppose it would come about when evil has reached a point where no forgiveness is possible–and it’s plain that the evil people will never repent.

Another thing to remember is that the Second Coming is to be preceded by terrible tribulations–of a kind which, “had not the time been shortened, no flesh should be saved.” We haven’t seen anything like that yet.

      • Phineas May 12, 2023 at 9:57 pm #

If they have, and evidence supports that contention, then it has been allowed. It’s another operation. The machinery behind the curtain is an amalgamation of multiple ideologies with fascism as the dominate force. Communism, at this point in history, is just a tool. What is collapsing now is over centralization, fiat money, and too big to bail, i.e. Communism 2.0.

      That’s not all.

All corporations have been grabbed as well. And they are more indoctrinated than even the universities.

Case in point, they all have rainbow logos. I work for one, and it’s got a huge DEI department. They all do.

Most major companies (if not all at this point) are required to fund DEI to the tune of millions of dollars per month.

The DEI employees and the youth they coddle now can boss around the CEOs and the CEOs can’t say shit.

On one hand, it’s kinda funny. On the other, welcome to communism.

When I read this, the hair stood up on the back of my neck and I got gooseflesh all up and down my arms.

This isn’t relevant to the conversation (or perhaps it is) but I often pray for people. In fact, whenever anyone asks for a prayer – on Twitter, for instance – I pray for them, even if I don’t follow or know them. There are so few things we can do for each other in these awful times, it’s little enough and may help just to know someone cares enough to bother.

Anyway, to get to the point, every single time I offer up such a prayer now, the hair stands up on the back of my neck, I get gooseflesh and a shudder goes through my entire body. What the heck does this portend, if anything? Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I find it baffling, disturbing, and . . . creepy.

          • Paula D May 14, 2023 at 1:10 pm #

No. Capitalism is the system we live under and profit is what motivates it.

Woke Marxism is an invented term describing Identity Politics.

Identity Politics has nothing to do with the economic system, except that it is used to divide-and-conquer the 99%.

Meanwhile, our ruling overlords are doing business with the capitalists of China.
            Nothing personal, it’s just business.

I remember in the 80s, when vulture capitalism was made legal, and profitable corporations were targeted for takeover.

I used to go to a store called Gemco, which was owned by a targeted corporation called Lucky’s.
Lucky’s sold off Gemco to stop the hostile takeover of their main corporation.

They had a Going Out Of Business sale, which I attended.

The clueless employees had made signs showing a target crossed out.

They were screwed by the vulture capitalists, but they blamed the side corporation, which had nothing to do with the hostile takeover. They were absolutely furious with Target instead of Michael Miliken! I thought they were stupid.

That is the clueless Americans of today who are being screwed over by their own ruling overlords, in concert with foreign overlords, but blame an invented conspiracy instead.

          • Amman May 14, 2023 at 3:00 pm #

            @Paula D

I get it but what is this particular invented conspiracy that clueless Americans are blaming?

By the way, very cool that you mentioned the 80s and Milken. Reminded me of the fall guy/patsy Ivan Boesky. Also of Farm Aid which is still going on. Rock on, PD.

Good on ya, Jim! You remain ever optimistic. Me? Let’s just say that absolutely NONE of the professional class that I associate with up here are aware of or care about any of this stuff. If I didn’t read it here, I wouldn’t be either. Sadly, absolutely nothing will change in DC until the cozy comfy salaried classes start to feel the pinch, and we’re nowhere close to that yet. How can so many otherwise smart and ambitious people be so willingly obtuse, you might ask? Same as it ever was in every other openly corrupt kleptocracy this kind of thing occurs. When their inflated salaries and their esteemed social standing depends on it.

    • MaryQueen May 12, 2023 at 10:38 am #

So the prof class folks you know don’t have DEI shoved down their throats? How are they managing to avoid it?

      • Disaffected May 12, 2023 at 10:59 am #

For the most part, they’re actually embracing it. Like I said, as long as the gravy keeps flowing, they’re pretty much good with anything. Strange bunch. The laboring classes up here grumble here and there, but they’ve mostly been conditioned to shut up and color as well. They know they can be and are replaced easily. Turnover is monumental now.

The man who proclaimed those unable to afford his rocket to Mars can join the endeavor in steerage and pay-off their debt as indentured labor.

Yes, this man, who has fooled the world with tunnels, batteries, plug-ins, and crashing rockets is appointing an NBC and WEF alumnus to head up his gossip & snark app while offering Don Lemon a channel.

The achilles heel of this narcissist is that he wants everyone to like his plaything and him.

This is why he is so fond of speaking from both side of his mouth.

This is why he consistently takes up irreconcilable positions (fear AI, but here’s a brain chip!)

Like Jobs he has drive and a vision. Like Jobs he cannot create the things he wants, but is able to lure those who can.

Like Jobs, he is very wealthy and people, particularly Americans, tend to dismiss the toxic attributes once you have passed a certain barometer of success:

        you’re very rich

        • Cankerpuss May 12, 2023 at 11:15 am #

Yes, Americans view the wealthy as Gods who, because of their wealth, are suddenly knowledgeable on everything. When, in reality, people are Bill Gates are leaches. The suck the profits from a company they started but hired others to build and spend their days sitting on boards. I mean, why does anybody with a sane mind consider Bill Gates, a computer dude, as an expert on demographics and immunizations? Because he has a lot of money and a lot of money makes people experts on………EVERYTHING! Wealthy people are the new Gods in our world. Don’t cha know?

Wow. That’s some serious jealousy right there.

I’ve noticed that very few people have the ability to size people up no matter how much they observe the person.

To condemn Musk as some narcissistic conman shows a complete lack of understanding of your fellow humans. He’s clearly a decent, fun loving, and loving person who is trying to advance civilization, and though you may not agree with his methods, to label him as you have is simply idiotic.

Getting down to it the Kennedy dynasty was started as a crew of drug smugglers. Old Joe made his dough running illegal drugs, alcohol, during prohibition . Not that booze is bad ( it is one of the worst drugs though) but it was illegal so it was all a felonious endeavor. Also The
1960 election which ushered in JFK,probably was more crooked than the 2020 election, especially in IL. Teddy was blatantly guilty of manslaughter and just an asshole booze-hound all around. I’m from western MA. and these eastern Massholes can eat shit as far as I am concerned. They never did me or the folks around me much good. except perhaps sending men to the moon. Which is a fact by the way!

Can you imagine the black market for ICE vehicles?

Does anyone remember prohibition? The government tried to eliminate booze from the American scene. This is going to be just as big a fiasco. Just imagine Carvana towers full of illegal ICE cars. No more ICEs?

Just like no more slavery, no more cigarettes, no more drugs, no more gambling, etc.,

Hmmm? Just wondering? Could it be that the DC Mob is setting up to push ICEs across the southern border into the Black Market, like drugs and slaves today?

        • Disaffected May 12, 2023 at 10:54 am #

The cars themselves won’t be the limiting factor. Cost of ownership (fees & taxes, gas, oil, maintenance, tolls, parking, etc.) will be.

Stelmosfire, In the early days of smuggling Whiskey from Canada, (no prohibition there). The smugglers accepted the fact that some would be caught and the shipment would go undelivered.

Then a stroke of genius! The cases of hootch were loaded into a burlap sack and the sack was filled with salt, enough salt weight to sink the sack.

If the “revenuers” were close, the smugglers would note their own approx. position and heave the sacks over board. The sacks full of hootch would sink, the salt would dissolve and a day or two later the sacks would “bob” to the surface, waiting to be picked up.

Dasn’t know whereby this particular lore surfaced in my life, but I think it’s a good tale.

I see that RFK Jr. has been bringing himself up to speed on the Ukraine himself up to speed on the Ukraine situation situation, and has been writing about it extensively on Twitter.

The media comes in for a good share of the blame, and he also dishes some out to some people you would not expect.

He gives President Trump his share:

“In 2017, President Donald J. Trump began selling lethal weapons to Ukraine.”

That’s fine; but speaking of Trump, he was very late to the scene and the damage had already been done for the most part, by people who did not even get mentioned.

Nancy Pelosi, for one. The Kennedys think highly of this woman. Bobby Jr. didn’t mention anything about her impeachment of President Trump over something that this guy actually did:

How can anybody look at this and not get what was going on?

In fact, I don’t believe Bobby has mentioned the man he is ostensibly running against for the nomination, at all.

  13. Beryl of Oyl May 12, 2023 at 10:25 am #

Bobby Jr. is calling the situation at the border, the invasion by military age grown men, a humanitarian crisis.

Oh come on now! He sounds like that weirdo RFK totem, Beto, when he says things like that.

    This is not 1980.

The humanitarian crisis is for the Americans they are being dumped amongst.

The border should be number one, number two and number three. Everything that is deteriorating in this country can be tied back to the hordes invading this country. RFK, Jr. should be dismissed if he supports the vote stealing policies of the Dems, by patriotic Americans.

If the unimaginable were to happen, and somehow RFK, Jr. was actually elected, I would be worried but not necessarily terrified. There are far worse possibilities. I think he’s misguided on several issues, but not malevolent.

If you ask me, more a NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUE.

  14. JohnAZ May 12, 2023 at 10:30 am #

We seem not to get what is happening here.

Biden represents the changing of the voting demographics of this country. His dogma is based on globalism. He deals, his family deals with foreign lands because they believe it is their right to do so. Joe Average is a different critter than he used to be. It will be very difficult to get the old demented soul out of the White House as the electorate fear the bad Ol’ GOP more than the Mob destroying their country. That is a direct effect of the propagandizing of the MSM.

Treason is the aiding and abetting of a designated enemy of the Republic in wartime. What Biden is doing is fully acceptable to the Deep State right now. The Mob wants full access to capital from abroad. National security means nothing, they will sell their country’s soul for a trifle.

If the bias of the media is not neutralized by direct action, this will be the end of the Republic as it was designed. No one will care because the majority of the electorate are Mobsters and do not understand what America is about anyway.

    • Beryl of Oyl May 12, 2023 at 10:47 am #

Ticker Guy agrees with you that Biden is not committing treason.

“C’mon folks. This looks like wild-eyed bribery by foreign entities buying influence from the Vice President of the United States.

Calling that “Treason” is factually wrong; Treason is defined in the Constitution and in fact is the only crime that is. However, it is evidence of a series of serious felonies and every member of the Biden family that received any of the funds is implicated AND MUST BE INDICTED. In addition the foreign entities forced to divulge what they were attempting to obtain from the United States Government in exchange for those funds.”

      • JohnAZ May 12, 2023 at 11:08 am #

        And must be indicted?

        By whom?

        Not anyone in this country!

        • cowbell81 May 12, 2023 at 11:11 am #

Putin should bring charges against the USA and “President” Biden. I think he would have more than enough claims to make. Then again maybe he should lie low and just keep trying to destroy the west from afar in other ways. They have that arrest warrant out for Putin after all, wonder how they will ever be able to enforce that document? lol

      • Paula D May 12, 2023 at 2:19 pm #

Treason may be the only one defined, but bribery is also grounds for impeachment.

Treason, bribery, and other high crimes and misdeamors.

High crimes are crimes that can only be carried out by people in high positions, which allow them access to commit crimes that ordinary citizens cannot possibly carry out.

Like handing out contracts to favored clients.
Or selling off public land to robber barons.
Or withholding a billion dollar loan unless an honest prosecutor is fired.

We, the people, cannot commit such crimes, only people in high places.

    • Disaffected May 12, 2023 at 10:51 am #

Treason is the aiding and abetting of a designated enemy of the Republic in wartime.

As Ol’ BillyJeff himself might say, “Depends on what the meaning of ‘Republic’ and who owns it is.”

“- Joseph Palmi: Let me ask you something… we Italians, we got our families, and we got the church; the Irish, they have the homeland, Jews their tradition; even the niggers, they got their music. What about your people, Mr. Wilson, what do you have?
      – Edward Wilson: The United States of America. The rest of you are just visiting.”

China is up for a huge demographic stumble and fall in the near future. There are not enough Women in that country. Men outnumber women 16 to 1 (age group 15yo to 19yo). China will be forced to start a war to siphon off all of that extra testosterone. There is no way they will have a chance here in the states, not that that would stop them, the purpose is to divest the country of extra population. I don’t think they will do that though. They may invade Taiwan, but the main gig will be on the continent. Ataturk is now in place (as of 2008) and they can now cross the Euphrates. Maybe Israel attacks Iran and then chine comes in to attack Israel to fulfill as yet unknown treaty obligations?

What a strange and interesting turn of events in opposition to the government forced illegal immigration housing fiasco:

Chicago residents condemned local leadership last week for plans to house illegal immigrants in a shuttered high school in the neighborhood.

Chicago is one of many cities overwhelmed by illegal immigrants seeking asylum amid crisis at America’s southern border.

During a May 4 community meeting at South Shore International College Preparatory High School, local residents expressed their outrage at the proposal of housing hundreds of migrants in an already struggling area.

“What’s important is that we really establish this is humanitarian crisis, and we are here,” Chicago chief engagement officer Nubia William said as the crowd jeered in opposition.

“While this crisis may constitute an emergency for the city of Chicago, it does not constitute an emergency for the South Shore community,” Alderman Michelle A. Harris said.

“When it comes to the total number of people at South Shore at any given point in time, it is fluid,” A local leader told the audience. “We would start with 250-500.” The audience could be heard yelling in response.

“How could you do that without consulting us?” One visibly outraged resident responded.

“I am concerned with safety in the area,” another could be seen telling the local council.

ABC7’s footage showed executive director of constitutional policing Tina Stagg announcing that police will be stationed to oversee the migrants at this facility 24 hours a day. ABC7 itself observed however that “Those are exactly the kind of services South Side residents say they have begged for and been denied.”

South Shore High School, is planned to be made into a respite center for migrants seeking shelter in Chicago.WTTW
One resident could be seen demanding that for “every homeless immigrant you bring in,” that they also administer to “one of the homeless individuals in our community,” arguing, “I think that would be fair.”

WTTW News also quoted residents expressing their concern at the meeting.

“Why would you do that without asking us about our input to the people who leave right in front of the South Shore school? Two-hundred and fifty people, give me a break,” one local Chicago resident said.

“Where is the money coming from?” another attendee reportedly asked. “Migrants don’t pay taxes. I understand helping people, but you have to start with your own home. Why don’t we have those resources with what’s happening here.”

One resident even shouted, “Build the wall. Make a border.”

Could also modify this statement to read if Joey B died (he is already pretty much brain dead), or was convicted of sniffing a young girl’s hair or fondling her in her no-no zone. The media would not make a peep about any of it.

      • Paula D May 12, 2023 at 2:27 pm #

There are plenty of videos (now scrubbed) that showed Pedo Pete fondling and sniffing young girls.

He will never be indicted, let alone convicted.

And when you show such videos to Dems, they say “He’s just friendly”.

        • hmuller May 13, 2023 at 10:05 am #

There’s one very telling video from a few years back. There’s some big photo op gathering, and Biden starts fondling a little girl who’s the granddaughter of Jeff Sessions. He violently slaps away Joe’s hand and pulls the girl out of reach. This all happens very fast and it’s probably the most “real moment” of that occasion.

          • Paula D May 13, 2023 at 12:24 pm #

I remember that one. Jeff Sessions is the only relative I ever saw protecting their child from Biden.

It was a reel from Pedo Joe swearing in new Senators. It was several hours long, IIRC, and contained multiple episodes of groping, sniffing, and inappropriate comments.

There are also the diaries, and of course Hunter’s laptop is full of incest porn with Ashley Biden and one other.

The entire family is positively feral.

She was a flight attendant in the 80s, and Joe Biden was in first class on a flight. He grabbed her and said something he no doubt thought was clever, about the Mile High Club.

At the time, she was used to that sort of behavior, so she brushed it off, but in 2019 she thought she would bring it up to stop the attacks on Tara Reade.

Instead, she was ignored by the media, but had her children threatened by someone who contacted her and gave her their addresses, and told her to shut her mouth.

So yeah, take it to the Times? As if!

I remember RFK Jr.’s rally against the vaxx mandates in Washington DC.

A much larger crowd was expected than showed up.

I can tell you that many who fully supported the cause did not attend because of what happened on January 6 2021.

They did not want to get thrown in a dungeon due to walking into a trap.

I remember Bobby Jr. making an analogy to Anne Frank at the rally. A perfectly appropriate analogy, which the Woke leaped on.

The Woke HATE the Joos, except when they can be used for political purposes.

    Bobby backed down and apologized.

I wonder what Bobby thinks of January 6th? Surely he must be aware of the Tucker tapes controversy.

Does he too believe that this was a bunch of thugs bent on insurrection?

    Is he sure about that?

I saw him explain his apology to someone. Can’t remember who.

When the media piles on a narrative, no matter how false, there is no defense.

      That is true.

Therefore, the best thing to do is apologize and nip it in the bud. At least that is what RFK, Jr. thinks.

I was watching some TV show about an elder woman comedian who hires a young woman as a joke writer.
One of her ongoing gags, for decades, was about how the older woman burnt down her ex-husband’s garage.
She tells the younger woman “Oh, that never actually happened. But the media said it did, and they wouldn’t ever print my denials, so I just make jokes about it”.

Like with Jerry Lee Lewis and the accusation that he was called Killer because he killed his wife.
That actually wasn’t true, he was called Killer for a different reason, but he didn’t bother explaining, he just went with the name.

You can’t fight the Mighty Wurlitzer.

Video shared by the outlet shows Feinstein slowly being guided into a wheelchair.

And this is a person being counted on to make rationale votes and decisions for the American people? The Democrats are just trying to get her back in there, dead or alive, so they can push through their liberal America wrecking agenda.

  28. Creekwood May 12, 2023 at 1:13 pm #

In “Around the Cragged Hill” (1993), George Kennan addressed Tocqueville’s “absorbing interest” in the egalitarian aspects of American society. Tocqueville thought people “were more greatly attracted by the principle of equality than by the principle of liberty; and confronted with a choice between the two, as he thought they eventually would be (for he regarded the two as ultimately incompatible), they would choose equality. He described the taste for equality . . . as a depraved one, which would impel the weak to try to drag the strong down to their level and would induce them to prefer equality in servitude to liberty in inequality.” Tocqueville also thought “that equality would lead to an unfortunate centralization of power in the state and that this centralized power would take the form not of any sort of personal tyranny or dictatorship but rather what he called ‘an anonymous despotism for which no one person would stand as responsible.’ ‘What is to be feared,’ he wrote, ‘is not a perverse individual, and not a maddened mob — it is a bureaucratic tyranny that would make possible the weakness of the individual.'”

This tyranny, he perceived, would not oppress the people in the classical manner but would encourage passivity in them and hold them in submission by pandering to their thirst for the material comforts and for a total social equality.”

The upshot is that great masses of Americans are largely “indifferen[t] to the nature of governmental authority so long as it pander[s] sufficiently to their material interests.”

I don’t think RFK Jr. Erik ever be president and I think Baker will be why, if needed.
I used to think he was gonna be used on Trump to ensure a Desantis nomination, and that may still be the plan
You can confirm most of my claims, I will asterisk the ones I can confirm but cannot be verified in other sources.

      He was in the army.
Then he joined and fought with a group designated as terrorists by the US government.
He was a sniper with the terrorists that supported the goals of the CIA in Syria
He was allowed to reenter the US for no apparent reason in 2019
In 2020 he helped protest police killing blacks by helping establish and defend the CHAZ/CHOP
He was involved in the murder* and cover up of the murder of two black teens. (Ironically while playing commie cop to protest police killing blacks)
He then made the mistake of threatening Trumpers in the land of the GITMO lawyer and was swiftly sentenced to federal prison, no idea why not state prison, which is suspicious.
He was not supposed to be released until after the election, but surprise surprise he will be released this year.
Just in time for the campaign

Something that doesn’t totally fit in with the topic at hand but is something I have been talking about for a while, the deliberate ‘pornification’ of our society as a means to bring America down.

I keep finding out just how much bigger an issue this is than I ever knew.

For instance, I had wondered over the last couple of decades or so about the uptick in young attractive female teachers getting involved with schoolboys. I could never understand why they would even want to.

Now I have learned that this phenomenon has its roots in porn too.

“There are skyrocketing cases of people acting out highly illegal and repulsive sexual fantasies IRL, like older teachers with young students, and no politician I’ve ever heard wants to talk about the fact that they are all mirroring some of the most popular genres of porn.”

Debating about how to save the USA is like debating how to restore Dianne Feinstein to youthful health and vigor.

Ain’t gonna happen. Stick a fork in it, it’s overdone.

Boated, corrupt, perverted, and violent, the US can no longer throw its weight around the world, and loot with impunity. The rest of the world is slowly realizing that it can say “No” and get away with it. More and more will join the rebellion to hegemony.

Like baking bread, and leaving it too long to rise, the US rose beyond its means, and will now collapse upon itself. And it will be a mess.

“However my 20 year old son, with the wisdom of the ages, says that if we wait until we have nothing left to loose–it will be too late–we need to fight now.”

    Couldn’t agree more.

An important issue then becomes what are the potential strategies, tactics and dangers of fighting?

    For example:

What kind of organizational structure would be necessary to recruit individuals who are committed to resistance in its multiplicity of forms?

What type of networks of individuals would be necessary to begin to combat mass censorship?

What type of networks of individuals would be necessary to communicate a different narrative reality than what we are presently told is the truth?

What are the dangerous of such a path–is it possible to organize such networks while maintaining a sense of humility and intellectual modesty?

Is there an organizational structure that can be created in the hear and now to regenerate a system of checks and balances in ourselves as well as in our society?

    • cowbell81 May 12, 2023 at 2:53 pm #

Individual families, smaller cohesive communities, and church-based organizations need to be the core units that band together and fight against the woke hegemony that is trying to ruin this once great nation of ours. There needs to be a clear power structure and levels of authority, but overall, everyone should have a distinct role to play.

Never underestimate the power of a group. Together we can all rise up and destroy the machine. They cannot come after all of us.

Boy, were they mad when the Russkies said No.

What’s the point of fomenting a coup and putting in a puppet government if you can’t have Sevastopol?

“Reality has become so elastic in America now that it stretches to a cosmic event horizon deep in the Twilight Zone where everything is magically transformed into its opposite.”

Reality is never elastic. What IS elastic is how some humans with dark souls twist actual Reality into some self-serving fantasy. And just as bad as that is when billions of people upon the Earth swallow that horse sheet like it was manna from Heaven. A truly sick relationship of mutually addicted mental and spiritual illness dependence.

‘The Twilight Zone’ TV episodes in the ‘60s actually now have more of a grasp on Reality that the horse sheet being peddled 24/7 by State Media and the large legion of Useful Idiots. Eat up, boys and girls! And these days, Rod Serling would reject what he sees on State Media as just too ridiculous to use for his own episodes as plot lines.

“Does the Party of Chaos actually suppose they can keep pretending ‘Joe Biden’ will run for a second term?”

Why not? We are blessed with a political party that has made its fundamental platform a Full Denial of Reality. And Resident Biden is the perfect posterboy for this Campaign of Madness being foisted upon the embattled American People.

Another great ‘60s show was The Outer Limits. They too presented stories that are now more plausible than the horse leavings that Americans get today.

We have gone from ‘The Twilight Zone’ and ‘The Outer Limits’ to ‘The High Noon of Worldwide Insanity’.

And even Rod Serling is shaking his head in disbelief.

This attempt to overthrow objective reality, and rather to embrace–and enforce–some human construct of what reality SHOULD be (as decided by some few humans) is essentially Luciferian.

I highly recommend reading wikipedia’s discussion on Luciferianism–mainly because they seem to be very much in favor of it, and give it a glowing review: httpx://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luciferianism

It’s very much in line with that quote by Karl Rove about how, “We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality….”

At a certain level, it is true that humans are creators of the realities they live within–as in what William Blake said about how love “builds a heaven in hell’s despite,” and the lack of it “build’s a hell in heaven’s despite.” E.g., one may have a peaceful and happy home and family life, even if you’re all sitting around a fire grilling possum snouts–or you can have a hellish home and family life in your McMansion.

So a person will naturally ask themselves what is the difference between “man as creator of his reality” in the negative, Luciferian, sense, and “man as creator of his reality” in the positive sense, in which he acts as co-creator as an agent or surrogate–and really even as a kind of God-in-the-microcosm–of God.

Obviously, the one acts and creates according to the designs of evil (Lucifer), and the other acts and creates according to the designs of good (God). The latter requires Godlike and cease less love and sacrifice, and the former is a matter of wielding power and force. And, clearly, Rove had no compunction at all as to the manner in which the Luciferian ends were achieved, or even whether these ends were a good idea in the first place.

      • Jarek May 13, 2023 at 1:31 pm #

Yes, Feminism is just such a Luciferian rebellion against the Natural Order. Women who divorce their husbands often don’t even let him see his own kids! Utterly demonic.

And you are on record as in favor of this.

        • Anthea May 14, 2023 at 8:37 pm #

          @ Jarek:

Women divorce their husbands to excise–or in some cases to exorcise–evil from the home and family. Thus women create a happy and peaceful home for their children, and thus raise good and Godly children, which can only be done by getting rid of the evil and destructive influence that results from having a man in the home.

Actually, we see the tide of public opinion turning against gay people (and the iterations thereof). This caused me to get to thinking about why most of my friends were gay men, back in my younger days.

Welp, having thought it over, I realized that this was because they were the best people I could find. This should tell you something about the moral degradation of straight men, if one compares them to gay men and finds the straight men morally inferior (by a long shot).

The men in this country are so degraded as to be merely sexual predators upon women–and, frankly, anyone or anything else that will hold still long enough. They do not have honorable intentions towards women, but merely seek to prey upon them. Women are thus contemptuous of them.

It is quite withing the natural order to shun and condemn evil, which is precisely what women do when shunning and condemning men–and divorcing them. Men are Bad People. It would, for example, never even occur to ANY of them that they should have honorable intentions towards women. The suggestion that they have responsibilites towards their children has the fulminating like a basilisk. They are utterly degraded.

      • Roundball Shaman May 13, 2023 at 7:37 pm #

Anthea: “… a person will naturally ask themselves what is the difference between ‘man as creator of his reality’ in the negative… and ‘man as creator of his reality’ in the positive sense, in which he acts as… a kind of God-in-the-microcosm–of God.”

It’s much like the use of a common carpenter’s hammer. A hammer can be used to build a beautiful home for someone… or it can be wielded as a deadly weapon to destroy life.

We cannot help but create our own personal Reality. A person has consciousness which is fundamentally and existentially creative and which is continuously constructing a world that the person lives within. We build our own Heavens and our own Hells to live inside of.

“… Rove had no compunction at all as to the manner in which the Luciferian ends were achieved, or even whether these ends were a good idea in the first place.”

Rove was not interested in describing cutting-edge quantum physics when he made his quote. He utters those words as a bullying political weapon to wield against foes who might dare to question the dominant empire role of US Incorporated around the World.

        • Anthea May 14, 2023 at 10:33 pm #

          @ Roundball Shaman:

“We build our own Heavens and our own Hells to live inside of.”

Much of our problems along those lines are that we don’t know what’s good for us. And, frankly, what’s really good for us is often precisely what we most want to avoid. E.g., no one really wants to suffer or do anything arduous, but avoiding these means going through life as a child; you’ll never mature. What’s worse is that being perennially childish makes for a person who is lazy, ignorant, selfish, self-indulgent, unrealistic, incompetent, and worse. These qualities will usually lead to seriously evil behavior.

Charlize Theron Said She’ll “F*** Up” Anyone Who Messes With Drag Queens

Right now in the United States, drag queens’ right to perform is being endangered by a slew of policies—policies which are part of a larger attack on the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community.

As such, the Drag Isn’t Dangerous campaign held a telethon this past Sunday to help raise money to fight anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation around the U.S.

Charlize Theron was among the personalities to participate in the telethon, when she expressed exactly how she feels about anti-drag policies.

“In all seriousness, there are so many things that are hurting and, really, killing our kids, and we all know what I’m talking about right now and it ain’t no drag queen—because if you’ve ever seen a drag queen lip-sync for her life, it only makes you happier, it only makes you love more, it makes you a better person,” the Mad Max: Fury Road actress said.

“I want to ask everybody out there, please support all the great organizations that are out there helping all of this nonsense go away like it should. All of these incredibly stupid policies. Bye! No more room for hate, only love, and love equals drag queens!”

The drag/tranny illness is infiltrating everywhere. I thought we were safe from it here. How wrong I was! I was horrified to read in my local paper—featured on the front page of their events section—

[Mass Audubon] and Queer Hub MV plan an all-inclusive celebration of nature-inspired drag. Take a Walk on the Wild Side.”

Jesus Effing Christ. The photo shows a (presumably) guy wearing “dinosaur-face” (I’m a triggered dinosaur!), green tights, high heels, carrying a green handbag, out in a field.

      httpX://www.mvtimes.com/2023/05/10/take-walk-wild-side/ [photos]

They are doing this in a Mass Audubon sanctuary.

One of the organizers complains, in the text, that there just aren’t enough places for LGBTQ+ to get together. WTF? There are plenty of restaurants, libraries, bars, people’s homes, senior centers, churches. What the hell is their problem? No one is stoppoing them from getting togehter. They can get together anytime they want without whingeing about some new form of victimization. But, they don’t want to just get together. They want to put on a show. In a place that is generally frequented by families and children. It is sickening.

I cannot wrap my head around the fact that this drag show appears to be spearheaded by Mass Audubon, one of the nation’s oldest conservation organizations. Drag is not “dressing up.” Drag is men dressing up as women, right? Correct me if I am wrong.

None of these “illnesses” are incurable. These illusions and delusions will all go away once the US loses access to its fossil fuel run suburban lifestyles. When our world is made and maintained by hand once again the natural order of things will return. Sure, there will be an extraordinary amount of death and “discomfort” involved in the process of getting back to reality, but everyone dies anyway, that can’t be avoided. The learning process can get very ugly at times, but that’s the only way we learn things. The hard way!

      • MaryQueen May 13, 2023 at 9:26 am #

This has been years in the making and it’s coming to full fruition now. You’re not imagining things. It’s insane, and it’s taking over.

I think also that the drag queen thing is like the gateway drug. Soon, it’ll be full-on Stupor Bowel type extravaganzas starring Lady Brain and the Clownfish, featuring naked-ass twerking, the finest autotuned earbug-styled sexualized lyrics, and dildo fondling as far as the eye can see.

Because, you know, toddlers are such bigots unless you shove depravity in their faces.

I wonder what Lenin and Stalin talked about?

    They were both obviously out-of-their-minds….

Stalin had one leg that was longer than the other which affected Stalin’s gait and probably gave Stalin considerable pain.

Lenin’s Squeeze was a Russian chick named “Inessa”. Stalin liked to have rough sex with women.

They chose their own names. I can’t remember what Stalin’s real name is? What is Putin’s real name? I wonder what Biden’s real name is? Obama’s name? They refer to Michelle Obama as “Big Mike”. I think that porn stars In Hollywood also choose their own names?

“ V.I. Lenin valued Stalin very highly … V.I. used to call him out and would give him the most intimate instructions, instructions of the sort one can only give to someone one particularly trusts, someone one knows as a sincere revolutionary, as a close comrade … In fact, during the entire time of his illness, as long as he had the possibility of seeing his comrades, he most frequently invited Comrade Stalin, and during the most difficult moments of his illness Stalin was the only member of the Central Committee he invited.71”

The Russian Calling Card apparently is poison…probably because of the ubiquitous Vodka?

      • Pucker May 12, 2023 at 8:33 pm #

I wonder what Putin and X…I talk about? Biden and Zelensky? Hurari and Zuckerberg?

“Even when he was seriously ill, Lenin never lost sight of his obsession with ‘cleansing Russia for a long time’, and he continued to give Stalin instructions to carry out his punitive orders through the Cheka.72 Stalin was still following Lenin’s advice in the 1930s, although in his own original way, sending not hundreds, but millions, and not abroad, but to concentration camps at the far ends of the huge country. He had learned much from Lenin. From the moment in May 1918 when Lenin had signed the order appointing Stalin to control food production in the south of Russia, and had vested him with ‘extraordinary powers’,73 Stalin became accustomed to making decisions without regard to justice, to morals, elementary human feelings or mercy.”

It was surmised that Warfarin, only recently invented as a tasteless, odorless, colorless rat poison, was what his intimates used to knock off Uncle Joe.

He died a lengthy and excruciatingly painful death, as everyone looked on, expectantly. After the recent drama of the “doctors’ plot” no one in their right mind would dare touch the great man.

        • stelmosfire May 13, 2023 at 9:11 am #

I was on Warfarin years back as was Dwight Eisenhower. It’s only poison if you take too much. Pretty much like anything, air, water, salt.porn, you name it. The shit sucks. You can’t eat salad.

Last night in the wee hours I finished watching the last episode (#73) of the sixth season of House of Cards which starred Kevin Spacey. I never realized what a terrific actor he is.

The show was 100% about political ambition. If even 5% of what is portrayed reflects reality I feel vindicated in my longstanding disgust with politics, politicians and political pundits.

The story and its scenes were dreamed up by Hollywood writers but struck me as entirely plausible. If you have lots of free time I recommend this series.

I also recently watched some other Netflix series that were all about politics: The Medici, The Diplomat, and even Chimp Empire. Yes, even a large troop of chimps had a political pecking order with an old alpha male named Jackson (by human observers) on top. Troops of chimps defend their territory tenaciously against other chimp troops, even killing members of their own species. They also kill and eat monkeys in their territory although fruit is their primary food. Meat seems to be an occasional special treat.

The Medici series was largely based on the novel The Prince by Machiavelli. The series prompted me to pull the novel from my book shelf and reread it. One of many key questions raised by the author was ” is it better for a Prince to be loved or feared?” Should a Prince make use of military mercenaries? I’m surprised Jarek hasn’t made mention of this short novel by Machiavelli in his frequent political musings. There’s lots of bad shit about the Church and the Popes.

Another interesting Netflix series I watched was Rough Diamond concerning orthodox Jews in the diamond business in Antwerp.

I highly recommend all of these series mentioned above.

    • MaryQueen May 13, 2023 at 9:29 am #

“The story and its scenes were dreamed up by Hollywood writers” hmmm not so much.

It was a British series first.

The Prince is a political treatise.

Hollywood or UK writers may have turned it into a “novel.”

    • Jarek May 13, 2023 at 2:03 pm #

Yes Q, it’s a treatise. Are you sure you have the real thing there?

I’ve read it: Great writing from a great mind. He wrote a lot more btw. Apparently his real love was for Ancient Rome and the Republic. The Prince was written for a young prince if memory serves, and he was paid for it. But there are universal lessons therein, good for all people and all times.

“The show was 100% about political ambition. If even 5% of what is portrayed reflects reality I feel vindicated in my longstanding disgust with politics, politicians and political pundits.”

If you are speaking truthfully about yourself then you should be more of a monarchist than someone who supports republics and democracies. On his website, the Mad Monarchist lists all the reasons monarchies are superior, much more stable, and last longer than republics. Here are a few things snipped and pasted out of his list:

      “Hereditary monarchy just isn’t fair!

Why not? How can any system for determining national leadership be absolutely fair? It hardly seems fair that one person should receive the top job simply because he or she is more popular. Surely the correct criteria should be how qualified a person is rather than if they are good at making speeches, more photogenic or being more gifted at graft and deceit. In a monarchy the top job goes to someone trained from birth to fill that role. In a republic, even under the best circumstances, an elected president will take half their term learning to do the job and the other half campaigning to retain it; hardly a model of efficiency. Hereditary succession seems much more “fair” than granting power to those able to swindle enough money and promise enough favors to the powerful to obtain the highest office in the land.

Royals are too out of touch. They have no idea how regular people live.

Some people believe this, but it simply isn’t true. Queen Elizabeth II was a mechanic and truck driver during World War II, the King of Thailand is a renowned jazz musician and composer, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark has painted illustrations for several books, including the Danish edition of “The Lord of the Rings”. The Emperor of Japan grows his own rice, the King of Cambodia was a practically anonymous dance instructor before coming to the throne and many royal heirs take ordinary jobs, often in obscure places where they are unknown, after finishing school. Despite what people think, royal life is not all champagne and caviar. Compare this to many presidents who have often never worked outside the public sector in their entire lives, never served in the military (as most royals do) or ever known any other life besides making speeches and casting votes.”

      (end of quoted text).

The essential problem with republican forms of government is that the people whose lives are devoted to obtaining power over others in government are the very last people who should be in those positions in the first place. In a monarchy, leadership roles are inherited chores and dreary duties that must be performed. Kingdoms must be cared for because they will be passed down to heirs. Since republican powers can never own a kingdom and can only rent it for a while, their primary incentive is to loot and steal what they can while the getting is good. Republics and democracies are unstable by design and on the average will fail at around 250 years. And the USA is at that point on the time line.

If you are speaking truthfully about yourself – Woodchuck

Of course I’m speaking truthfully, why wouldn’t I? I can’t remember the last time I voted and when I did vote I was young and naive.

The arguments above favoring monarchy sound logical to me.

BTW this comment system puts a squiggly line under naive. I googled it and naive is the correct spelling. Whut’s up wit dat?

The only “change” this nation is headed for will likely come from the outside once the inside has been hollowed and rotted enough. No amount of pine-tar, as good as it is, will keep an already rotted-out shell of a nation from imploding. It’s coming because its demise was long ago scheduled and steered in that direction. Who in their right mind would want to keep alive the national corpse that’s lied and betrayed us since time immemorial? Stick a fork in it and for once do the right thing and start fresh.

One thing that hits me directly in-between the eyes, after reading this thread, is that the USA is absolutely NOT rotting away. Everything works as it should. Stop lights, garbage pick up, schools still in session, etc. It is not the COUNTRY that is rotten and rotting away (allow me to point out the obvious), but the HEAD of the country. The .gov is out of touch and out of control. Joe sixpack and plane Jane will find out, prolly sooner than later. They will start to do CRAZY stuff that we can only make guesses about here. I don’t know how it happens, but once it starts to roll down hill, that boulder will be unstoppable. Nobody will be able to stop it (good guys or otherwise). What we get at the end, when that rolling downhill boulder has completely run it’s course, is anyone’s guess… Oh, BTW, the elites will be flooded out in their bunkers. They think they will emerge in a years time to pick up the pieces after we all kill each other on the outside, but they will be force to make a last ditch effort to grow gills and will fail…ask me how I know.

Genetic study reveals surprising ancestry of many Americans
Some African-Americans, European Americans, and Latinos carry genes that don’t match their self-identified ethnicities

“In the United States, almost no one can trace their ancestry back to just one place. And for many, the past may hold some surprises, according to a new study. Researchers have found that a significant percentage of African-Americans, European Americans, and Latinos carry ancestry from outside their self-identified ethnicity. The average African-American genome, for example, is nearly a quarter European, and almost 4% of European Americans carry African ancestry.

Until recently, ‘human population geneticists have tended to ignore the U.S.’, says Joanna Mountain, a geneticist and senior director of research at 23andMe, a company in Mountain View, California, that offers genetic testing. With its long history of migrations from around the world, she says, the country was ‘considered to be kind of messy in terms of genetics.’

…The fact that so many people in the United States carry a mix of different ancestries could have important medical implications… a person’s self-identified ethnicity—or the ethnicity her doctor assumes she is—doesn’t ‘necessarily correspond to [her] underlying genetics’, Bryc says… In order for personalized medicine to live up to its potential, she says, doctors need to ‘consider the person’ and her or his ancestry in all its complexity, rather than just falling back on reductive census categories.”

“…Millie and Marcia are fraternal twins and best friends. The fact that one is black and the other is white has never been an issue for them.

‘When people see us, they think that we’re just best friends’, Marcia says. ‘When they learn that we’re twins, they’re kind of shocked because one’s black and one’s white.’

Their mother calls them her ‘one in a million’ miracle. But it’s not that rare that a biracial couple would have fraternal twins who each look more like one parent than the other, says statistical geneticist Alicia Martin. The probability would be different for each couple, depending on their genetics, says Martin, a postdoctoral research fellow at the Broad Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts.” ~ National Geographic, article, ‘Black & White’

    • elysianfield May 13, 2023 at 11:51 am #

“…Millie and Marcia are fraternal twins and best friends. The fact that one is black and the other is white has never been an issue for them.”

Might have been an issue for their “father”, however. I can just imagine the conversations between their mother and father….

    • Islander May 13, 2023 at 12:26 pm #

      Hmmm. How does this work?

“Fraternal twins (also called dizygotic twins) result from the fertilization of two separate eggs with two different sperm during the same pregnancy. Fraternal twins may not have the same sex or appearance. They share half their genomes, just like any other siblings”

Doesn’t that assume that both sperm came from the same fellow?

According to the book “sperm Wars,” many females, inlcuding human, mate with multiple males in quick succession—may the strongest sperm win!

In any event, the “discovery” that most Americans carry genes from multiple ethnic/racial groups isn’t a surprise. Americans have always been acutely aware of this fact, although they have responded in different ways. One of them was the “one drop” rule.

The idea that doctors should delve into our individual gene profiles in order to :”help” us with medical issues—excuse me while I spew my coffee.

      • Paula D May 13, 2023 at 12:48 pm #

        So true, Islander.
News flash: Americans are a mixed race population!!!
        Not a news flash.

Indeed, mapping everyone’s genome has absolutely nothing to do with providing medical care.
Especially if the doctors are now taught in medical school that there is no such thing as biological sex.

So medical care cannot be adjusted for sex, but it can be for 4% of a racial genome?

        • Jarek May 13, 2023 at 2:29 pm #

The real America is White. The mixing with Blacks was Jefferson’s nightmare, the reason he wanted them sent out of the United States, beyond all danger of mixture. He knew what you do not: That genotype is destiny.

Race is an intrinsic part of medicine. Some things work on one race and not another. There are race specific conditions, etc.

Don’t get all tangled up or “reactionary” over the sex issue. Obviously men and women have specific concerns, even more than the different races do.

One example of an genetic disease that is race-specific is sickle-cell anemia.

When I was growing up, one of the neighbors was quite ill for many years with leukemia. Later, when I was much older, I saw pictures of her, and also her sister. As an adult, I could recognize that they were both very light-skinned blacks.

I sometimes think that a pretty large percentage of the people in the town where I grew up were people who had been “passing for white” for a generation or two. There were quite a few people who claimed Native American ancestry–I suspect for that reason. They were a bit dusky.

The town was–and, I hear, still is–very racist. There was a “sundowner” law, and, when I was a child, the town hanging tree, reserved for those who broke that law, was still standing.

I think the racism was intended to deflect attention from the probable race of some of the inhabitants.

          • Anthea May 13, 2023 at 5:52 pm #

I guess the actual point of my above post is that the woman who was said to have leukemia may well have had sickle-cell anemia–also probably misdiagnosed, if so.

          • The Man They Call Zazelle May 13, 2023 at 6:19 pm #

Maybe there are also, for examples, wilfully-ignorant, pathetic or psychopathic genes in some people’s cases that help feed yet transcend their own manufactured narratives, or attempts thereof, for others.

          • The Man They Call Zazelle May 13, 2023 at 6:26 pm #

… So I mean why stop with ‘black’ or ‘white’, such as when they can continue with– and place themselves in– a ‘psychopathic race’, a ‘wilfully-ignorant race’ and/or a ‘pathetic race’?

And my neighbor back in a rough neighborhood I lived in, was married, but her husband was in Germany, so she shacked up with someone else.
Her husband came home for a visit. I have facial recognition problems, but I pointed out to my husband that her husband looked just like her boyfriend, except blond, and he agreed.

So then she had twins, one blonde, one brunette.

Neighborhood gossip said that both her men showed up at the hospital nursery and had a fight that required police intervention.

      Not a country.

This is what is happening. We have no reason for unity. The government is removing Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness as a unifying force. Socialistic forces are removing the joy of competitions and winning. Indoctrination in the schools is removing the pride in country that held things together.

I really do not think that the Left is smart enough to run this country. They want huge changes to this bad old country, but they do not have a clue what to put in the place of the Constitution.

The Left is too stupid to run anything on a national level, just look around, the evidence is ubiquitous. One guy, Trump, did a superior job of keeping the country on an even keel than thousands of Dems.

    Well, ladies and germs;

    A note on Reparations.

Reparations have been discussed at length. Committees formed, speeches made, vague promises….

Consider the viewpoint of the supposed recipients…victims all! Visions of plenty. Stolen wealth recovered. Respect. Redress.

What might happen if those reparations are not forthcoming? How will those millions of victims display their disappointment? Big plans have been made. Solutions to life’s problems again denied.

    A promise made is a debt unpaid….

    • BackRowHeckler May 13, 2023 at 12:51 pm #

And it looks like reparations will not be forthcoming due to severe budget deficits in both the State of California & the City of San Francisco. They don’t have the swag to pass out. How will millions of (victims) display their disappointment? They’re gonna be pissed, and on the west coast it might be an interesting summer. Quantavarius in LA already had his gold Caddy picked out and now Gov. Newsom is telling him there ain’t going to be any gold plated caddy after all, which won’t go over well.

      E. I see in Oakland the streets are totally out of control, with gang warfare, street drag racing & assaults & robberies rampant. I was watching a (hair raising) video of street takeovers where cars were set on fire and let loose with no driver like flaming bombs rolling down the streets ~ it looked the end of the world with no police response whatsover.

Those were the bad old days, AND your current video will show none of these egregious acts by competent authority. We were not racist, by and large, and oppression was not a philosophy, nor a conscious activity. There was violence, however…a lot. You might suggest reasons for this. I have only one question?

Race exists, but your definition lacks the elements of culture and ethics…basis of humanity. Are there any black saints in the Catholic Church? Yes, of course. Would you deny them their humanity?

            What would the Pope say?

Elysianfield sez: Content of character. Me and the Pope are in agreement….

          • Jarek May 14, 2023 at 3:36 pm #

Oh, now you’re the philosopher! Ok, but be a good one. Their race is different. A stronger lower nature and less of a higher one to reign it in, thus the vastly higher crime rate.

Culture? Of course it’s cultural – because it’s genetic first.

Saints? Yes, it’s possible. One Orthodox Saint had “the Black” after his personal name. Why? Because they knew how extra-ordinary it was too. What was he before he became a monk? A robber.

          • elysianfield May 14, 2023 at 3:56 pm #

When viewing other races, and their various cultures, it is better to seek quality rather than quantity…if you know what I mean, and I think you do….

I am not an apologist. However, I would make a better Pope than Philosopher. At a young age, I learned to…pontificate.

Back in the 70s, my sister and I were wandering around downtown Oakland and a group of young black men came up to us.
One of them said “Why are you white girls here?”
And I said “We’re looking for the BART station”.
He said “BART doesn’t run on Sundays. You shouldn’t be down here, there are gangs here”.

And I looked at the group and wondered why they weren’t a gang.

Anyway, he pointed us to the bus stop and it all went well.

          • Jarek May 14, 2023 at 3:38 pm #

Yeah, good thing they weren’t White, right Paula?

In other words, I agree with that young Black man. You’re the deluded one – then and now. You never really grew up. Most women don’t, not mentally.

Jar telling a woman who’s raised a family that she’s never grown up mentally is quite the hoot, considering he still lives in mama’s basement and can’t even keep a job, a lifestyle, a girlfriend, etc.

I had a black facebook friend, who went off the deep end on CRT and reparations, so is a friend no more.

Anyway, you should have seen the fights on his threads about reparations back then. This was even before most of the African immigration, but they were already announcing that Jamaicans and Haitians need not apply for the money supposed to go to Americans. And now they’ve added boatloads, (or planeloads), of new African immigrants to the mix.
That is when they changed the acronym to ADOS, American Descendants of Slaves.

One time a Native American said that she thought they should also get reparations, and they all jumped on her. One of them claimed that all Native Americans are rich from casinos, so they don’t deserve anything.

So if they ever do set up a reparations program, get ready for a race war like you’ve never seen, solely within the ”community”.

Somalis, Jamaicans, Haitians, etc., and ADOS, throwing down. It’ll be epic.

In my personal experience, West Indians don’t get along too well with American blacks. Ghetto culture is alien to guys from Jamaica & T&T (Trinidad & Tobago) some of whom I’ve known to work 3 jobs to take care of their families here and their elderly parents back in the Islands.

Urban American life is corrosive & ruins even the best intentioned people.

I worked 2 years once in a Wash. DC night Club. We had many Jamaican’s, African-Americans (including students from Howard University), and Ethiopians from the large community there drop by.

Everyone got along great. The area was not a debilitated ghetto area so that at one point a young Punk Rock group from West Virginia leased the place to play to their fans once a week. .

The manager was a friend of mine, a guy called Elias. He told me a while back that DC has changed. That you could smoke a joint in front of a patrol car. Also, that the Batty boys were now in charge.

They are always asking what is wrong with the American black culture( they mean rap, ghetto worship) here. The one Jamaica work leader is always saying pull up your pants, get to work, go to school and stop complaining.

          • Amman May 14, 2023 at 1:20 am #

It is tempting for some to hate on Black America.

However, you must have an assessment of black people based on the reality of living amongst them in American society and on the long experience with friends, acquaintances at work, neighbors, “strangers”, and so on.

Therefore, I, like a couple of billion folks in Africa and the Islamic-Arab World, respect Black America and consider Black America a part of my positive identity (to say the least.)

The White bourgeois doesn’t know how to handle these demands from black Race hustlers and Marxists so, as far as I’m concerned, they (or we collectively) deserve what we’re going to get. The U.S. was essentially built by Europeans. and we can’t seem to call BLM’s bluff and give them their own nation state in North America which would solve allot of America’s cultural and political issues. Give them free money and no work requirements! What a mediocrity and sick culture.

Why not also force California, excluding San Diego and its naval base, and western Oregon to secede and form their own nation state and let a steady stream of leftists move there and their patriotic non leftists move into the remainder of the USA. Time and money and a vision can get it done. Get creative with your politics and not be so defensive. Old fashioned conservatism doesn’t work anymore. It’s a loser in the medium and long term.

Race is a categorization of humans based on shared physical or social qualities into groups generally viewed as distinct within a given society. The term came into common usage during the 16th century, when it was used to refer to groups of various kinds, including those characterized by close kinship relations. By the 17th century, the term began to refer to physical (phenotypical) traits, and then later to national affiliations. Modern science regards race as a social construct, an identity which is assigned based on rules made by society. While partly based on physical similarities within groups, race does not have an inherent physical or biological meaning. The concept of race is foundational to racism, the belief that humans can be divided based on the superiority of one race over another.” ~ Wikipedia

Is the dominance of West African Blacks in sprinting a social construct?” ~ Jarek

It’s its context that is the social construct…
Sprinting dominance, if we accept that as a fact for the sake of argument, is nevertheless only one characteristic– which characteristics do you choose and why?– that may not necessarily be valid for all people in West Africa nor only for people in West Africa.

        • Jarek May 14, 2023 at 1:40 am #

If one posits a universal principle as you did, one needs only to find one example that contradicts it to blow it to smithereens. That I did. Your principle that race is just a social construct is wrong.

You are refuted. You will subsist in the state of refutation as the Refuted One until you make good your deficit – in other words, reformulate your principle in such a way that it is not contradicted by my example. But be warned: Although I only needed one to refute you, there are many more.

I would suggest another course: Just drop it – because you’re wrong. Race exists and it is important.

            Targeted Dehumanization

Race exists, yes– as a social construct.

What you seem to be talking about is more like eugenics, human breeds, breeding humans and/or creating a false narrative/manufacturing a false perspective.

Monoculturizing of people, if you will, for an ‘anthropological museum of distortions and lies’.

Given your likely ongoing years-long broken-record in this and similar regards, that smacks more of a kind of immutable agenda, which has less to do with ‘race’ per se or any other sort of rational, genuine discourse and mutual discovery and more, simply, about targeted dehumanization.

Historically, State governments engage in that sort of thing as part of the beating of their war drums as we know.

Even if we agree that ‘race exists’ as you write, your notion of it seems to be more as a leverage for dehumanization among other dubious effects.

That’s probably why DA felt the need to call you a shit stain. They saw through you.

          • Jarek May 14, 2023 at 3:46 pm #

Eugenics? Did we make the West African Blacks better sprinters? No, Nature did. Nature is the original and greatest Eugenicist. Perhaps it was positive payoff for interbreeding with Homo Erectus. The skeletons of that hominid reveal long legs and narrow hips. They looked to have been great runners.

And where there is one difference, there are bound to be more – since your Absolute Principle of Absolute sameness is disproven. I wonder what Whites are good at…..!

Another: Some heart meds did wonders for Blacks and nothing for Whites. And vice versa. What a moral quandry! The average Leftist would ban the ones that help Whites. Others would ban both since they believe in your Principles (religion of sameness). What would you do, refuted one?

Aside from my already supporting my posts with other references from elsewhere, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and as such has references, including that article. There are plenty of articles online beyond Wikip. about race.

    • MrMangoOnMyShoulder May 14, 2023 at 6:19 pm #

Zazelle – I see you’ve been reading some Ibram X. Kendi. I did too, before discussing the upcoming bills for MN education incorporating this crap.

The foundation is all literally based on the one assumption that race doesn’t exist…yet it somehow also at the root of all problems. Okay. Huh. The extremely-detailed arguments are all anecdotal to a certain degree, and hold no merit if that one main basis of the theory can’t be proven (which it cannot, or at least has not been, yet, by anyone). Therefore, the wizards at Wikipedia can go drop a deuce in a bucket for all I care.

They say something is, therefore it’s true…to them. Not true to the rest of the world, though. The argument does not hold water, but since it’s been essentially criminalized to question it, most people say nothing.

They’re smart, that’s for sure. But they ain’t right.

    • MrMangoOnMyShoulder May 14, 2023 at 8:00 pm #

(Hint: These are the same people saying gender is a social construct, and declaring it fact as the basis for all other arguments. The theory can be stretched any way they want, just like pizza dough. Brilliant implementation, I must admit, but absolutely worthless circular logic at its core.)

The conclusion to F Roger Devlin’s review of Heather McDonald’s book, When Race Trumps Merit.

Some of the incidents Heather Mac Donald describes, especially within the arts academy, are the kind that might have occurred a generation ago. However, certain novelties suggest that America’s racial revolution has entered a new phase. One such novelty already referred to is the growing impermissibility of mentioning racial gaps in skills and behavior, even when attributing them to “cultural” factors. Another is preemptive self-accusation: In the wake of the George Floyd riots, observers who thought they had lost the capacity to be surprised at America’s racial madness were bewildered to see eminent people and institutions rushing forward to confess their “racism” like the victims of Stalinist show trials. Miss Mac Donald has a noteworthy take on this:

The self-abasement common in the post-George Floyd era is actually a form of self-aggrandizement. Individuals and institutions blame themselves for inequalities for which they have no responsibility in order to claim a current impact they do not possess. [Thus they] position themselves as essential to the anti-racism crusade.

Under a regime of anti-racism, cultural authority can come from only two sources: “the assertion of victimhood or the acknowledgement of oneself as a victimizer.” Whites cannot adopt the first strategy, so “that leaves the vigorous assertion of racial guilt as the second-best means of retaining social capital.”

Frustrated by the failure of white and Asian men to fight back against the diversity juggernaut, the author asked one research scientist, “How much longer would they continue to allow their hard work and accomplishments to be disparaged and sidelined?” His reply:

We need our jobs. Our peers will turn on us. Speak out, lose job forever, be quickly forgotten and abandoned. I admire the bravery of those who speak out but they will be systematically exterminated until they are all gone. The system will have to rot from within and be reinvented, which will take 50-100 years.

Miss Mac Donald suggests a membership organization might be able to mitigate such fears.

[An organization] dedicated to the unapologetic defense of color-blind standards of achievement and behavior would relentlessly provide the data that explain the lack of racial proportionality in meritocratic institutions and the criminal justice system. If one of its members were punished for opposing the latest application of disparate impact analysis, the organization would come to his defense. Ideally, there would be enough strength in numbers to avoid its members being cancelled.

No civilization can long survive without standards, so the current dispensation certainly cannot last. But no one can predict whether it will be followed by a return to color blindness or an evolution toward racial separation.

Jarek: McDonald’s theory that Whites have only two real choices: Keep their dignity and hold their peace or Accuse themselves and maintain their place in the new Order seems correct. The third option of speaking out just leads to cancellation.

At the end she posits a third valid possibility: Forming an organization, or the foundation of an alternate culture. Above ground? It will be savaged, both personally and in terms of its functioning. Does McDonald understand how very different Blacks are? How few can meet our standards? Devlin does, but I don’t know if she does. High level charter schools have almost no Blacks and get accused of racism all the time. Most end up caving, letting in unqualified Blacks, thus lowering standards and driving out high level Whites and Asians. Gresham’s law applied to socioeconomics and race.

I’d say it would have to be secret or below ground. As her anonymous authority says, it will have to crash and die. That will take generations. Much needs to be preserved for the future. Certainly classical music does – and they ARE coming for that now. Read the whole review.

    • BackRowHeckler May 13, 2023 at 5:28 pm #

Like Jim, Heather Macdonald has been run off college campuses. On the rare occasion when Ms. MacDonald has been invited to speak, she gets anything but a warm welcome. I wonder if JHK has ever been rudely treated by a student audience? I think the audience at one of Jim’s presentations would be slightly more sophisticated than your run of the mill campus radicals, say, those students interested in the New Urbanist movement, or in resource depletion.

    • tucsonspur May 14, 2023 at 5:58 am #

Heather MacDonald, in ‘The Diversity Delusion’, mentions intimidating encounters (some violent) on various campuses. One campus paper described these encounters as ‘not acts of violence but of self-defense.’

      She writes about ‘Affirmative Disaster’.

In 1996, 54 percent of California voters favored Proposition 209 which required cutting the use of racial quotas by California’s government. While some state agencies reduced such quotas, Mac Donald states “California’s university system is a different matter entirely . . . through fiendishly clever compliance with the letter of the law, while riding roughshod over its spirit. In doing so, university officials have revealed a fatalism about the low academic achievement of blacks and Hispanics that they would decry as rankest bigotry in a 1950s Southerner.”

She asks the question, ‘Are we all unconscious racists’? That is, is racism deep in the brain, untouched by conscious thought? Could be.

A ‘return’ to color blindness? I guess he means no more special dispensations, no more affirmative action, etc. Complete, ideal color blindness simply can’t exist.

How in this day and age could an organization like this be kept secret, how effective can it be from underground? All ideas are welcome, but this seems almost cowardly, or too much like surrender.

I prefer above ground fight, time for us to savage them. Yes, but where are the soldiers, where are the white generals, where are the white divisions to terminate this deplorable diversity? Nowhere to be seen.

Above ground or below ground, the future looks bleak. As things stand now, it appears that whites will not endure but will rather eventually fall before the demographics of diversity, their once effulgent culture exasperatingly eroded and erased.

The US becomes ‘minority white’ by 2045. What dark nightmare will prevail in say, 2100?

It’s not just the diversity delusion, it’s the diversity decay and the diversity descent.

      • Jarek May 14, 2023 at 1:37 pm #

The great Traditions prophesized of this time: A time of universal decay. Read Julius Evola’s, Men Among the Ruins. It will not be halted or reversed. It cannot be.

But we can prepare, preserve, and wait. And an outer organization can be part of that – martyrs to the lions casting a trail of bread crumbs to young, alienated Whites.

And when they really begin to weaken, perhaps we can fight them. Until then, whatever works – including fleeing over the Bering Straits to Siberia if they will have us. What needs be must be. All of our culture stems from our genotype – the ultimate work of art.

I liked the commentator as he prompts me to put more thought into each section but for some people, yeah, that could probably be annoying. I’ll see if I can find the whole thing uninterrupted.

I am watching a lot of his lectures with an open mind, being as I was someone who earlier in life bought into a lot of what is now the woke cultism and was able to move away from it. And James himself used to reside on the left, and is an atheist, so one can’t accuse him of being some bitter rightwing extremist (which is how many would like to paint him given the uncomfortable truths he is presenting).

Even lefties who say they have left the left still hold up China and Russia as beacons of peace and love and perfection, and this is flawed thinking IMHO. I like how James is not afraid to criticize both and poke holes in lefty revisionist history (lefties like to believe that only the right does that).

He is in good company – Brent Weinsten, Heather Heying, Helen Pluckrose, and Pete Bogosian are on the same page, as far as I can tell. A great group of people to watch/listen to.

  58. Rulo Deschamps May 13, 2023 at 8:10 pm #

The late 20th century thinker and explorer of altered states of consciousness, Terence McKenna, had this position on eschatology: that the eschaton (Greek, “end”) was so powerful, that its ontological essence projected not just towards its future (the future of the eschaton, that is, the universe, or at least our parcel of it, as affected by the end of things), but also towards the past.

The past of the eschaton is our present, of course.

So we see intimations, symbols, reflected sunlight on our mirror, of what’s to come, the vague shape, half intuited, of how things end.

It’s all around us, the chaos. Science and biology erased (vacc, the trans cult). Spirituality erased (the end of religions, the new woke state religion, cult of the self, “away-ness” from Nature and Earth, from starry night skies, from feeling the soil under us and the vast spaces above). Family erased (again, trans state cult, plus the old wizard family the Huxley’s work coming to fruition at long last, both Julian and Aldous, the asexual reproduction, the artificial bliss of drugs, hedonistic half lit worlds, the cult of pedophilia and harvesting of life energies of the innocent, historically a fact from Tiberius to Gilles de Rais but now promoted and normalized in the world’s great museums, luxury items advertising and so on) and… and…

There’s so much to say about this. The reflection of the end also, sadly, in the end of Gaia, Earth, brutally plundered and raped, as a preview of when she, it, us, really cease to exist.

Reaganites’ that long for the “return of the good times” of mindless consumerism can kiss my white Hispanic ass right now and stop reading. The North Sea fields, Alaska, what fueled that era is gone now.

We (well, not me, I farm organically and read the labels of everything I eat I don’t grow myself) eat shite. Geniuses and capitalists imagined incorporating poison in the DNA of living organisms so no living being can eat them and survive, meant for insects, slowly taking a toll on our health, along with pharma shit, screen time shit (a full third of every day for most), along with… and… and…

That’s not what I wanted to say. What I wanted to say is, keep your eyes open to a new outrage, a new hit below the belt, because what McKenna envisioned is the appearance of UFO’s since WW2 as the echo of the eschaton, when “enlightened beings” conjured into existence by a vague Jungian collective consciousness would finally lead us to a New Age.

As a young stoner I endorsed that view, but now I don’t anymore. Enlightened beings, no. Demons, rather. Not from the planets, from the spiritual world. A long time around, now almost fully liberated, fully in control, by alliances with the powerful in the human world.

Look at the UFO hype, the “revelations”, the “leaks” for hints about the next wave of the intended end of things. They’ve really been ramping that up. Nuclear war is one geopolitical mistake away, and then… then that changes everything… then what remains will be led by demons, either real ones, of deep fake, propaganda shadows, because we don’t know anymore what’s real and what’s not, if it’s all on a screen.

This is all one can do about it: look at that female cardinal hunting for beetles in the potato rows from your porch, the sky blue above, the wall of green oaks at the end of the field, and breathe. And not be a jerk and act with kindness towards other unfortunates and towards our ravaged home planet for as long as we’re around.

Thanks, Rulo, for taking the time to write this. I can’t follow all of it—I do not believe in the existence of demons residing outside the human skull. Nature will bat last, and whatever the fate of H. sapiens, Earth will still be here and life will survive on Earth.

      But this resonates with me:
“So we see intimations, symbols, reflected sunlight on our mirror, of what’s to come, the vague shape, half intuited, of how things end.. ”

To me as a woman, what is most disturbing is how women are being canceled. Today, again, Google presents a Mother’s day “doodle” that does not contain any image of a human mother and child.

I recall the utterly freakish images they used last year. This year they are going for “cute” that avoids any specifics of human reproduction.

If women are reduced to a means of production (of the labor force), then they have no further use one reproduction is done by machine.

Finally, the male world can be free of that ball and chain, the mothers whose bodies created them.
