The USA has gone so batshit crazy in these months of the corona virus freak-out that an orgy of looting, arson, and murder, on top of epic job loss and business failure, propelled the stock markets up-up-and-away back to near-record highs — until it finally puked yesterday in a rare moment of self-revulsion, like a sot who has been drinking after-shave. The news media barely mentioned it, though, so fraught are they by the toils of systemic racism, a morbid condition not unlike “the vapors” of Sigmund Freud’s early days, curiously lacking specificity.
Which raises the question: how much of the response to the public killing of one George Floyd has been an engineered operation by the Democratic Party and its allies in the propaganda industry? I’d say, an awful lot, considering the presentation of events in The New York Times and other organs of the perpetual Resistance that have been luxuriating in existential woe surrounding the indecencies of whiteness, culminating in the fake abject ritual of contrition put on by Ms. Pelosi and Chuck Schumer taking-a-knee in their Kente cloth prayer shawls. Within a few more days, at least four cops around the country were ambushed and shot in the head, but there were no public displays of mourning for them.

Meanwhile, the country has watched countless scenes captured on smartphone video of young people in flash mobs looting, trashing, and burning one city business district after another — but don’t believe your lying eyes, these were “mostly peaceful protest demonstrations” (Ali Velshi, MSNBC). The police mostly stood by and watched, under instructions to avoid producing a batch of fresh martyrs to feed the flames of rage stoked by the talking heads of cable news. By some miracle, the cops’ restraint prevailed, but many of the trashed and looted businesses will not come back, and the cities themselves will be permanently diminished by the losses suffered.
The Democratic Party Resistance apparently believes that all this mayhem, and the false sanctimony excusing it, works to their advantage in the coming national election. They may be disappointed about how that works out, as they’ve been disappointed in three years of previous gambits to overthrow the government and seize power by any means necessary. The picture of them is resolving into the party of bad faith, foul play, coercion, and tyranny. Even the corona virus scare carries a taint of Resistance manipulation. One moment the populace is hustled into an economically devastating lockdown; and then suddenly, on a fine spring day, they’re incited to mix in moiling mobs of street protests with the predictable result of a fresh spike in virus contagion and the possibility of a second lockdown. Like many activities in our national life lately, it’s another hostage racket, and, guess what, you’re the hostage.
Their most transparent artifice is the utterly false elevation of Joe Biden as their candidate for president. Everybody knows he’s incapable of performing the job, and probably even of functioning through a campaign. His inchoate utterances on events and policy make Donald Trump sound like Ralph Waldo Emerson. He’s left behind himself an evidence trail of financial crimes running to at least nine digits of grift. And, of course, if you believe all women, he’s a sexual molester. Everything about his public presentation is false, including his hair, teeth, and soul.
This past week, his handlers posed him as Grief Counselor-in-Chief (via video from his basement) at the state funeral for George Floyd, accompanied by an inspirational music soundtrack to shore up the sham sentimentality. (Click here for video.) Never have so many hollow platitudes been woven into such a garment of alternative reality for public consumption. Most pathetically of all, the audience of mourners, mere props, as black America has long been employed by the cynical party, went along with the charade that George Floyd was a model citizen and father, now soaring on golden wings to the place on high where you don’t need methedrine and fentanyl to feel happy. A couple of days later, Democratic Party bigwig and Clinton henchperson Terry McAuliffe told a meeting of the faithful that Joe Biden should remain confined to his basement. In a matter of weeks, you may be sure, we’ll learn that the party is compelled to draft Hillary Clinton as poor Joe’s replacement. It can’t be helped. Her turn will not be denied, even if she has to destroy the country to take it.

Thanks for bringing up the Jesuits as a hub of Satanism (nestled within what is ostensibly supposed to be a bastion of Christian theology and faith). If you’ve ever read any of Malachi Martin‘s work, he has a strong understanding of the decline of the Jesuits as an organization (most likely because he was one originally). He correctly credited Pope John Paul II with being the only resistance to the corruption of the jesuits in recent memory. It could be reasonably stated that all other popes since JPII have either been an active contributor to Jesuit corruption or at least “going along to get along”.
On a more personal note, I have to say that I always look forward to your very informative and compelling posts here on CFN. Please continue to contribute in the future 🙂

I don’t know what to make of Padre Pio’s endorsement. The Church has not endorsed it I believe. But yes, he is certainly someone to take seriously. But the Virgin told Lucia something different: A bad council leading to a bad mass.
To reconcile these two visions is above my current knowledge so I must withhold judgment. However I recall Christ’s, “By their fruits you shall know them”. And what are the fruits of Vatican Two? The devastated vineyard as Von Hildenbrand said. Or a a little study done a few decades ago, a business type analysis of the American Church titled, “Index of Leading Catholic Indicators”. The conclusion? The same. One of absolute destruction and waste. Endless Churches closing. Orders of Priests and Nuns dying, the remaining, often all elderly. Catholic schools closing. There’s a rush to declare one party or another victors in the November election. Five months is an awfully long time in American politics nowadays. But one thing is for sure, whatever is the apparent outcome on November 4, the aftermath will play out long afterwards and the social fabric will be torn even further. Pity the winner and pity the nation.
The choice is tough. Trump, who makes everyone face the truth and tries to tear down the Deep State takeover of the country. Biden, who cannot speak, cannot think, has no ideas what to do, and whose only claim to electoral fame is appointing his successor, a woman of color. Like him, competence is no issue.
If this was mostly a rational thinking, relatively intelligent society, there would be no question about November.
It is not, as evidenced by what is happening now. The American dupes, the public, is beyond help. Revolution is coming. The rise of CHAZ is upon us. Minneapolis is next.
Trump can save this country but it will cost American lives. We will see if, like Lincoln and Ft. Sumter, Trump has the cojones to preserve and protect this union from the clutches of the Democratic, globalist takeover that is impending.

Lewd rhyme has served a political purpose for centuries. It is best when short and easily remembered, the more offensive the better, and the Limerick form is perfect for this purpose. Ridicule is almost impossible to defend against.

Last fall all the nurses where I worked had to take titer tests to see if we were still immune from measles, chicken pox and whooping cough. I don’t work with children and it seemed illogical and I said so. I was told I either took the tests as it was a new hospital mandate and anyone who refused would not be allowed to work until they submitted. I’m not making this up — and every fall we have to have a flu shot, like it or not. When the Miracle Corona Virus Vaccine comes out there’s no doubt in my mind it will be made mandatory in all health facilities.

At my hospital, I and all of the physicians, nurses, and other employees were required to receive the flu vaccine beginning in 2012. If you did not allow yourself to be vaccinated, you would lose your privileges or be fired if you were an employee. I retired the following year.
I never made a practice of getting or recommending flu vaccines, as they don’t work. Each year the vaccine is raised on all of the prior years flu strains, and when the new season comes along, the virus has mutated and is not affected by the vaccine.
Why the policy? Because if grandma, who was in the hospital for a hip replacement, happened to get the flu and die, her family would likely sue the hospital for not having had everyone vaccinated. The point of the policy was not medical; it was a liability issue, period. A specious one, but a clever ambulance chaser might make it stick. Big Pharma was solidly behind spreading the fear that motivated the policy.

The local news last night announced our local police force would be subject to a 25% drop in funding and no new hires. But I would say that your argument is the equivalent of declaring that the guy who cut down the tree that was made into Einstein’s desk gets credit for the theory of relativity.
From the Revolution to the Civil War, your argument gets even weaker. By the time of Fort Sumpter, the North (where slavery was abolished in every state by 1804 – although post-1804, there were slaves in the Northern states numbering in the low hundreds diminishing to a handful in NJ by 1860 ) had 210 factories to the South’s 21. To argue slavery built that disparity in a region where slaves were under 1% of the population is the logical equivalent trying to put a condom on a fire hydrant.
Lastly the arrival of those whites in their leaky ships happened to coincide with the growth of the US from a minor player on the world stage into an industrial superpower in the 8 decades after the civil war with nary a slave in sight (in real GDP, roughly a twenty-fold increase from 1860-1940).

Seems young and old have lost their bearings in different ways. My father used to be a old school union guy. The farcical CHAZ insurrection reminds me of humorous fictional accounts of revolutions gone astray. Dostoyevsky’s The Possessed (also translated as The Devils), Louis Malle’s film May Fools, Hawthorne’s novel The Blithedale Romance. Each of these fictions demonstrates the three main impetuses of revolutionaries. I thought maybe they were trying to show that they could be ‘fair and balanced.’ I forget who authored that column but it was totally a ‘one off’. I had/have never seen the guy before nor since.
Please read ANY column by Paul Krugman, Maureen Dowd, Charles M. Blow, Frank Bruni, or Gail Collins and show me one kind word for Trump or republicans in general and I’ll eat my hat on national TV.
Even in the non-opinion sections of the paper – Business, Sports, Technology, Arts, etc. – any opportunity to take a political stance is left-leaning.
I have been a 7 day per week subscriber and thorough reader of the entire paper for at least 25 years so I know of what I speak.

This is a complicated argument, and it needs to be nuanced properly to do it justice. And it’s not a cop-out to say that “it all depends on what you mean by ‘left’ and ‘right'”, since it actually does.
And while my readership doesn’t extend to the print version (except when I’m in the US), I have been an online subscriber for quite a few years. I also read The WaPo, and a mate in NYC sends me interesting stuff from the WSJ.
JHK has frequently lambasted the NYT for falling from its pedestal as the “newspaper of record” down to the grubby level of yellow tabloid. I disagree with this rendition – obviously – and not because I think it hasn’t gone leftward, but more that it didn’t hold a high position in the first place.
But my main point is that the NYT is a for-profit business, and if it didn’t have a “flavour”, and didn’t employ certain writers, that meet the needs of the New York middle and upper-middle classes, it would lose its audience and its advertising revenue.
It wouldn’t survive – let alone grow – if it were pro-Trump … mind you I don’t know how a single person could be pro-Trump, unless there salary or power depended on it. The NYT knows that being critical of Trump is essential to retain readers and dollars.
But this makes it far from left-wing … in fact genuine news sites of the left (Politico, AlterNet, Kos, etc) excoriate the NYT for it obsequious deference to the “office” that has been defiled by Trump, and for indulging in rampant bothsiderism.
So from this perspective I think the NYT is quite conservative, in a moderate-liberalish kind of way … but it is ultimately pro-establishment and pro-business, and of course it couldn’t be any other way if it wishes to prosper.

I don’t find it “curious” … more self-evident and obvious. Cities where there is likely to be a large urban under-class are more likely to elect Democrat mayors, and also more likely to have law-enforcement incidents, and then as a consequence, more riots and mayhem.

I was at a dinner party the other night with people I knew. After a socially distanced dinner, the inevitable real menu was passed around. In short, Orange Man Bad. A successful businessman, his psychiatrist wife, and her teacher cousin, all retired. They get their news from CNN (or CBC in Canada), and that’s all they need to know.

I only jumped in once to point out that Trump’s holding up a bible is a non-story. Every U.S. President in the past 70 years has done the same when making an announcement of grave import. Studies in that time have consistently shown that the populace wants their leaders to at least pay lip service to Christian markers. They’re smart enough to know that most of them aren’t serious Christians, excepting the Bushes, Carter, and (maybe?) Reagan. But, again, the blank looks, and the desire to interrupt with “did you hear what Trump said about …?”
Their worlds are comfortable, and some vulgar man is constantly dropping turds in all their punch bowls. Case closed.

Underwood and another officer were shot at about 9:45 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 12th and Jefferson streets. The guards were on duty patrolling the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building, as a protest was occurring blocks away near City Hall.
Steve Storer, who coached Underwood in high school, first met him when he was a student at Collins Elementary School. Storer remembered Underwood was a soft-spoken and respectful student.
“Never had a problem with him,” said Storer. “He’s the kind of you want to be around, the kind of kid you remember 10, 20, 30 years later. I could see him getting into the law enforcement field and taking care of people — that’s the way he was.
David Dorn’s last moments were caught on video. David Dorn was a retired police captain who died during a night of violent protest. He was was trying to protect his friend’s pawn shop, his widow said.
His death came on a violent night in St. Louis, where four officers were shot, officers were pelted with rocks and fireworks, and 55 businesses were burglarized or damaged, including a convenience store that burned. Police also shot and gravely injured a burglary suspect who they say shot at officers.
St. Louis Police Chief John Hayden remembered Dorn in a Tuesday news conference as he and other St. Louis leaders discussed the chaos that took place downtown after looting.
“David Dorn was exercising law enforcement training that he learned here, so in his honor, we are wearing our mourning badge,” Hayden said.
“… David Dorn was a fine captain. Many of us younger officers looked up to him. So very well-liked and very pleasant. And his wife still works here, so a very sad time for our agency. We will honor him.”

What I was suggesting is that if your innate immune system handles the virus then it never gets into a battle with the adaptive immune system and you might not develop antibodies. And if you are unaware of having been sick at all, that is likely what will have happened if you ever actually got exposed. And it would leave no record in your blood. I’m not positive on this, but that is my understanding.

Some have correctly pointed out that the nationwide urban unrest largely stoked and pursued by the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement is much more about class warfare than racism. Beyond making this observation, it’s important to understand how this is the case. What we may be witnessing is an atavistic return to a pre-Enlightenment class dominated social structure, which resembles nothing so much as India’s historical caste system.
This comparison seems odd, but it’s strangely apt.
Black Americans are being elevated by the media, business and political elites to the country’s virtuous class, based upon a narrative of suffering due to historical and current abuses.
This process has been ongoing for a long time, but has picked up great momentum in the wake of George Floyd’s killing. The evidence of this is multifaceted. Many aspects of black culture have been wildly popular among Americans in general (and internationally) for generations. While this kind of obvious cultural blending has always been a natural consequence of America’s cosmopolitan society, it’s especially evident today in everything from fashion, popular entertainment, music, speech patterns, and much else.
More unusual in recent years is the desire of non-black Americans to be black. The infamous Rachel Dolezal is the most obvious example, but she is hardly alone. It’s generally fair to say that people don’t deliberately try to pass themselves off as a kind of person they regard as inferior. Dolezal not only evidently sought the institutionally favorable benefits that come with being black, but the social ones too — that is status.
Then there are those institutional benefits, which are ingrained within the culture, but also so culturally sensitive that they often are simply not named. The disproportionately favorable consideration given to black people for higher education, state and federal employment (including the military), government contracting and loans, and private employment too, done under the rubric of “diversity” is a firmly entrenched class benefit.
The new phenomenon of white Americans kneeling or genuflecting to BLM members is as plain an example of perceived inferiority as there is. The bow, the curtsey, the kowtow are all historic physical manifestations of class inferiority.
George Floyd’s enormous and heavily lauded funeral is yet another example, generating wall-to-wall coverage on every network. It was the functional equivalent of a State funeral for a man of questionable character in life, but who as black person victimized by a white man has become a national hero to many.
Finally, the widespread societal acceptance of the BLM mantra, by politicians on both sides of the aisle, major corporations, mass and social media, is itself a statement of black class superiority. The unspoken predicate of “black lives matter” that people dare not run afoul of (most recently for example Ellen DeGeneres) is “more than other lives.” It is now considered socially reprehensible in large portions of American society, perhaps most of it, to utter the phrase “all lives matter equally.”
Let’s not address here whether real historical abuse of black people (slavery and Jim Crow) justify yet additional remedies to distant descendants, or whether less legitimate claims of ongoing institutional racism do the same. The fact is for the most part, the mass media, dominating social media, the educational establishment and the political classes believe that they do. And as these “influencers” go, so often does the populace, if not right away, then in a generation.
Since these ideas are being pushed by the nation’s existing elites, and will effectively establish black Americans as a “superior” virtuous class — as against everybody including the existing elites themselves — the question is why?
Obviously black elites benefit from this social restructuring, but why are white elites going along? Because it better ensures their own grip on wealth and power.
It’s important to recognize that social status is not entirely synonymous with wealth and power. Many genuflecting leftist white people are wealthier and have more important jobs than the black people to whom they are being obsequious. But like a well-to-do commoner in the presence of a hard-on-his-luck aristocrat, the curtsey demonstrates relative social position.
By taking a “secondary” social position to their acknowledged black “betters,” white elites reduce lower class pressure on their own wealth and status at little cost. They still get to dominate lower non-black classes, and economically and politically dominate black Americans, despite their own socially “inferior status.”
There is a very apt historical analogy for this, the ancient Indian caste system. In that system most of the power and wealth was not held by the highest class Brahmins but rather by the second-class Kshatriya. It was the Kshatriya that ruled the hundreds of rajas, created empires, accumulated military power and riches, at the expense of two lower classes. The Brahmins’ elevated status was spiritual, based upon perceived virtue, not necessarily wealth or power.
This setup proved incredibly durable, and best served the Kshatriya, as the Brahmin status somewhat insulated the Kshatriya from lower class resentment, while in fact costing the Kshatriya nothing but some occasional deference to their social betters. And in yet another interesting parallel, from the lowest caste developed the “untouchable” subcaste of outcasts, who might be described as a “deplorables,” “bitter clingers,” or “just not very good people.” In other words, a way to completely ostracize opponents.

Is there some evidence for this? Anyway, the two statements are contradictory – if the Democratic Party didn’t “give the slightest” for blacks, then presumably the BLM wouldn’t be a “front group” for the Democrats at all.
There is no doubt that a lot of people who support the BLM are also Democrat voters, but that doesn’t make one a “front group” for the other. Political parties don’t operate in a vacuum, and all parties seek the support of lots of stakeholders and organisations – nothing mysterious there.
And anyway, there is a far larger range of organisations that are “front groups” for the Republican Party – often with millions, if not billions, of dollars available to secure the power ascendancy of the right.
Perhaps you could discuss and expose those as well. Koch Brothers would be a start.

Tomorrow will mark one month since I went down. The knee is almost fully healed…just a small scab remaining but I am still limping badly. The wife and family members assume it is all due to my persistent arthritis. The bike suffered some damage which anyone with two eyes could see but the wife has no reason to be checking on its condition and she is NOT the annoying busy-body type.
I called the service area of the large motorcycle store I deal with in Metuchen, NJ to see if they’re open for business (what with the Covid and all) and they are but they warned me I’d have to drop the bike off for a possibly extended period before they can even LOOK at the bike (this is their busiest season) and give me an assessment and quote, much less perform the actual repairs. I’ll probably drop it off this coming week.
I have to admit that the fall I took has put a scare into me, especially since I’m coming up on 80 years old this November. I really need to get back on the horse.

I read through this essay Friday. I got to the second paragraph, and, somehow, it reminded me of a Wall Street Journal opinion with the title “See Spot Run–Multiculturally.”
On that note, I’m about to read a black life that matters to me, the life of Malidroma Somé. He grew up in Upper Volta in the days of liberation from the French. The author mentions in passing, slavery, of the African sort, not too politically correct for the white folks who pretend to be “multicultural.” His big dilemma was, because the French Catholics had kidnapped him at age 12 or so, and then having escaped the Catholic school when he was 19 and walking 80 back to his village, whether the tribal elders would consider him a Dagara. He then describes, in quite vivid detail the rite of passage into male adulthood.
He has a few choice things to say about modern young men who haven’t experienced such an event.
That’s 80 miles, he walked. Quite a feat considering the average American considers 600 feet a long walk. The longest i’ve ever done is 51 miles (Cambridge, Massachusetts to Greenville, New Hampshire).
