I’m sure you can see exactly where all this is going. By all this, I refer to the cortège of disasters orchestrated by “Joe Biden” and associates — with help from a power-crazed globalist cabal — hauling our country at a gallop now to the graveyard of empires. Is there any question that they are out to wreck Western Civ? And speeding up the action because too many actual citizens are rising to oppose their degenerate wickedness?

Most particularly, the people who have not surrendered their reason to the Woke-Marxist mind-fuck that calls itself “progressivism” have had enough of the purposeful inflow of something like ten-thousand fake asylum-seekers a day across the border, mostly men, a lot of them from China, and many more of them mutts from faraway lands where Jihad is the order of the day — meaning the crusade to exterminate the people of Western Civ. We’re supposed to be okay with that.

This deliberate, treasonous policy was rightfully declared an “invasion” last week by the Governor of Texas, requiring the human wave to be met with real force, not the welcome wagon that the federal border patrol has been turned into. The result so far is a real-live Mexican stand-off between the regime in Washington and the state of Texas, joined by twenty-five other sympathetic US states willing to send men and matériel to seal the border.

None of this is reported in Monday morning’s New York Times, by the way, though you can read Is Dying Your Hair Bad for Your Health there. Nor will you read about the caravan of American truckers striking out from all points around the country to “peacefully protest and pray” at the border while Texas attempts to settle its hash with “Joe Biden.” Nor will you read about the uprising of European farmers blocking highways to protest ruinous EU rules on food imports, diesel fuel prices, carbon emissions inanity, and, of course, the officially-enabled tide of Africans and jihadists flooding into EU member states.

“Joe Biden’s” response so far is to say he’ll attend to the border situation only if Congress green-lights another massive aid package for Ukraine, a dishonest proffer from any angle. Ukraine is a lost cause that should never have been a cause of ours in the first place. Yet securing the US border is a principal duty of the executive branch, not some optional fringe benefit to be used as leverage for other projects. Congress has already got impeachment articles ready for Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas, who has lied repeatedly under oath about the border being “secure.” But it’s obviously not enough. The failure is entirely “Joe Biden’s” and warrants his impeachment on its face, aside from all the evidence of bribery and racketeering among him and his family.

The best move would be to impeach both the president and his proclaimed “border czar” Veep Kamala Harris — which would put Speaker Mike Johnson in the oval office. But the impeachment process is too slow and awkward for that. So, now I will tell you where all this is actually going: “Joe Biden” will seize an excuse to declare a national emergency and subject the US to some manner of martial law.

The excuse could be an outbreak of violence in the quarrel between the states and the feds over the border. Or it could be a widening of the war in the Middle East, a direct confrontation with Iran that would draw in Russia and Turkey and kickoff World War Three, a war we would have an excellent shot at losing, considering our DEI-ravaged, over-vaxxed army, our obsolete naval carrier groups that can be sunk by hypersonic missiles, and our depleted reserves of armaments already fobbed off by Ukraine and, lately, given to Israel in the Gaza campaign to destroy Hamas. If such a war didn’t set off a world-ending exchange of nukes, it would at least collapse the economies of Europe and America and, with that, many governments, including possibly ours. And what role might all those recently-arrived illegal aliens play in such a fiasco? Any way you cut it, we’d be in for chaos and hardship.

Or, if we somehow avert major war, “Joe Biden” can try the national emergency ploy when the much-heralded (by the WHO) “Disease X” trots onstage. (And we must ask whether that will just be a delayed side-effect of the mRNA vaccine deaths?) Ultimately, the purpose of any national emergency at this moment in history, whatever prompts it, will be to suspend the 2024 elections. The Democratic Party has gone so completely off-the-rails psychologically that it will do anything to avert losing control of the government.

The Lawfare cases aimed at knocking Donald Trump off the game-board were assigned to corrupt and stupid prosecutors who are botching their jobs in perfect sequence. They are already baking the cake for Fani Willis’s farewell office party in Georgia, and Jack Smith is being undermined daily by the emergent truth about government’s role in fomenting the J6 riot. The ridiculous judgment rendered last week in the E. Jean Carroll defamation charade, is certain to be reversed on appeal. Note the assembled tweets below attributed to Ms. Carroll’s “X” account and draw your own conclusions about her character, especially her sexual proclivities. (By the way, Judge Lewis Kaplan ruled them inadmissible as evidence for Mr. Trump’s defense.)

Now, where the next national emergency or some kind of martial law is concerned, the catch is that at least half of America will refuse to comply with diktats coming out of Blob Central. They’ve had enough trips laid on them. The government has been flirting dangerously with the loss of legitimacy as the disastrous “Joe Biden” term grinds on, but this would really ice it. Whatever other tragic consequences follow, it would be the end of our constitutional republic, and history will install “Joe Biden” in the Hall of Infamy as the man who killed it.

Good morning Jim. Thanks for the blog this morning.

“The government has been flirting dangerously with the loss of legitimacy as the disastrous “Joe Biden” term grinds on, but this would really ice it.”

Yes. I think we are witnessing a further “drifting away” of liberty minded states in lieu of the actions of a federal government.

“a war we would have an excellent shot at losing, considering our DEI-ravaged, over-vaxxed army, our obsolete naval carrier groups that can be sunk by hypersonic missiles, and our depleted reserves of armaments already fobbed off by Ukraine and, lately, given to Israel in the Gaza campaign to destroy Hamas.”

Yes. I was reading this morning that the US Navy is off by 6,000 recruits for 2023. Their new change in recruiting is to accept people without a GED or high school diploma, and who score a 50 (our of 99) on their qualification test.

This is mirrored by the rest of the US military.

“The Democratic Party has gone so completely off-the-rails psychologically that it will do anything to avert losing control of the government.”

The democrat party is simply an arm of the Deep State. This permanent security state in the US will not lose control of power humbly. There will be a terrible reckoning in the US before this occurs. It may take the form of a real domestic pro-liberty movement, a bloody and losing foreign war, or perhaps both.

    • Ron Anselmo January 29, 2024 at 9:46 am #

Pete – nice observations – all true. How about a mixing of adjectives? A bloody pro-liberty movement? Can’t really see it being meaningful any other way.

I don’t think it will take much to push the West into an all-out war with Iran. The mullahs in Tehran look like they have a death wish and are doing everything they can to provoke a wider war in the Middle East The latest news that Iranian proxies have launched drone attacks on an American military base in Jordan which killed 3 and injured 25 are a good example of the kind of terror Iran has planned for the West, I agree with Alan Dershowitz that America has been too timid in its’ dealings with Iran. They’ve been using their proxies to provoke America and its’ allies beginning with the October 7 attacks on Israel. They are counting on our reluctance to engage them directly and the backing of their masters in Moscow because they have nothing to lose at this point. Iran’s economy is a disaster, the regime’s heavy-handedness has given way to backlash from its’ own citizens and Joe Biden’s lack of leadership are all good reasons to turn up the heat on us.

Yes, but the mandate issued by Sec. Granholm & Sec. Austin a few years ago that all military & combat vehicles — including ships, aircraft, Panzers and self propelled artilley — be powered by electric motors for the purpose of ‘lowering the DoD carbon footprint’ has not been met.

General Milley’s Tranny Battalions have not been fully trained and all ‘White Supremacists’ (ordinary White kids from small towns) have not been rooted out, either discharged or put in Leavenworth.

IOW, despite what the DoD ladies & gay Air Force generals who run the Armed Forces claim we are not ready for any war with Iran.

          • Vegan Shark January 29, 2024 at 12:38 pm #

There are too many electricity-hesitant operators in our armed services, and besides, the mandate does not go far enough.

I hope somewhere in the Great Pentagonal Palace a new mandate is gestating. It must require that all moving military vehicles starting last week be treadle-powered, supplemented if needed by spinning wheels built to the highest specifications. Go, little hamsters!

Iran has already said it’s not going to play this game with us. They make no distinction between Israel and the United States. Israel is closer and the return blow will be terrible. We over here can expect widespread terrorism.

But yes, Israel/America will prevail over Iran and its militias. But what if Russia enters?

          • AreC January 29, 2024 at 1:50 pm #

“They make no distinction between Israel & the United States.” Well, why should they? Nancy Pelosi doesn’t.

        • FGB3 January 29, 2024 at 1:07 pm #

Iran and all that other foreign stuff is a side-show compared with what has been going on right here at home. But if Iran bombing our installations calls for their removal, bringing them home, then that would be good. They shouldn’t be there anyway. Naturally I do not like to see our troops hurt in any way, but something has to give somewhere.

          • TruthSeeker1986 January 29, 2024 at 3:31 pm #

To bad, they signed up for it so they are going to get hurt. It’s different if there were a draft and people were forced against their will to fight. But signing up and knowing what to expect, well tough. America is a war mongering country, half of the wars that happen is because the U.S. started them.

“They’ve been using their proxies to provoke America and its’ allies beginning with the October 7 attacks on Israel. ”

And we have been provoking Iran since at least 1953.

Ding, ding! We have a winner. Absolutely correct and most American people have no clue about that.

          • Uncle Bob January 29, 2024 at 10:39 pm #

So this animosity between the US and Israel against the Persians is because the CIA overthrew a Soviet puppet government and installed its own puppet, in the form of the Shah?

          • Blackbird January 30, 2024 at 5:42 pm #

Uncle Bob, I’d say a lot of Iran’s animosity against the US is due to the fact that we overthrew Mossadegh and installed the oppressive Shah, who held power for the next 26 years, and then, once Khomeini took power in ’79, we resumed fucking with Iran and have never stopped. The US also unquestioningly supports Israel, a major thorn in the side of the Muslim world.

The US’ animosity toward Iran is due to the fact that they resist becoming one of our puppets.

Iran and Israel’s hostility toward each other is – or should be – their problem, but of course we have to make everyone else’s problems ours.

          • benr January 31, 2024 at 9:54 am #

Iran is a sponsor for terrorism pushing Shiite religion all over.

Reagen used Iran to get rid of Jimmy Carter.

Joe Biden and Obama have been paying Iran to be naughty.

Installing the Shah was a huge boondoggle at the time Iran was very western and should have been left alone.

Now we have a situation that really needs to be cleaned up for the good of the region and the rest of humanity.

England messed up the middle east when they drew the maps and the US has been busy doing the same ever since.

These people are barbaric and tribal left to their own devices would still be living in tents hacking each other to death with swords over rights of succession from when mad Moe died.

A nuclear armed Iran will spark an arms race in a region of crazy people baked in 130 degree heat.

    • Miss Demeanor January 29, 2024 at 10:02 am #

In 1968 the US Department of Defense at the request of the government drafted a civil disturbance plan called ‘Operation Garden Plot’ which outlined what was essentially a martial law response to large scale social breakdown.

One of the main factors listed in the plan as a trigger for martial law was the uncontrolled mass migration of minorities into the US, as well as riots by minorities in light of economic uncertainty.

Garden Plot has provisions designed to install a long lasting domestic military presence in the US if deemed necessary, and was even tied to programs like REX 84 which planned out the installation of “FEMA camps” or detention facilities meant to hold large numbers refugees during a mass migration crisis. These programs were accidentally exposed during the Iran/Contra hearings of 1987 and were kept secret from a majority of representatives in Congress.

In other words, political elites designed a set of operations to swiftly impose martial law if a migrant disaster occurred. But were these measures meant to solve the crisis? Or were they meant to use the crisis as an excuse to put boots on the ground in the US and permanently end whatever constitutional protections we have left? That is to say, it may very well be the plan of the establishment to keep the borders open until illegals overwhelm the system and the public is willing to accept martial law.

      • Beryl of Oyl January 29, 2024 at 10:15 am #

I was yelling about the president invoking FEMA over a cold virus. That agency should not exist and it isn’t what people think it is.

If you look closely, you can see how President Trump was led by the MSM into an overblown response to a “crisis”, by labeling each and every storm or what have you as a test of his mettle, his “Katrina”.

        • Cankerpuss January 29, 2024 at 10:35 am #

98% of the Federal Government should not exist.

But hey, the “commerce clause” and the “welfare clause.”

The Constitution can exist only with a moral people. Boy did our forefathers screw that over.

          • Beryl of Oyl January 29, 2024 at 10:38 am #

Right now they aren’t just ignoring the Constitution, they are ignoring laws that they had a hand in passing.

          • Jarek January 29, 2024 at 12:46 pm #

How so? There are better and worse system, but even the good ones won’t work without some basic human quality, morality included.

          • Wizard of the Saddle January 29, 2024 at 2:54 pm #

Democrats used the Commerce Clause and the Welfare Clause to procreate – which led to the creation of the Santa Claus – the government that can give you everything, but only after they TAKE everything.

Miss Demeanor – excellent post. Thanks.

“But were these measures meant to solve the crisis? Or were they meant to use the crisis as an excuse to put boots on the ground in the US and permanently end whatever constitutional protections we have left?” ~ Miss Demeanor

        Only comment:

Solving the crisis? The intent would be for the common good.

End constitutional protections? Intent would benefit them and enslave us.

Not hard to figure out – just my opinion.

      • Paula D January 29, 2024 at 12:06 pm #

I was watching the Iran-Contra cover-up hearings when Jack Brooks brought up Rex 84.
I got the Mercury News, a Knight Ridder paper, so I had already read their expose of the criminal Oliver North and his plans. But the rest of the country that didn’t get those papers obviously didn’t know about it, and back then we had no social media to spread the news horizontally.

Daniel Inouye, the chair, slammed down his gavel and yelled that the topic must not be brought up in open session. Then he dismissed the hearing. This was a Friday afternoon.

On Monday they reopened the sham hearings with nothing mentioned about the FEMA camps.

But sure, Congress cared deeply about the lawlessness of the Reagan administration.

That is also when I developed a deep hatred of Mitch McConnell, by the way. It has lasted all this time.

        • loosethedogs January 29, 2024 at 1:40 pm #

Point of order per lawfare media.com and I quote:

“As of today, 28 emergencies remain in effect. The list still includes the first emergency authorized under the act—President Jimmy Carter’s 1979 emergency, declared ten days after Iranian students took American diplomats hostage in Tehran. Earlier this month, President Donald Trump renewed the emergency for the 38th time”

So to be perfectly clear, since 1979 eight presidents have signed orders that keep the U.S. in a PERPETUAL State of Emergency, thus, in my understanding overriding the laws as set forth in the Constitution. It is a Jedi Mind F*ck by the D.S and is NEVER discussed in public except when RENEWED by each president for a “different emergency” such as FJB’s Covid Emergency Act. Prove me wrong

          • Paula D January 29, 2024 at 1:58 pm #

            I can’t, you’re right.

          • Ron Anselmo January 29, 2024 at 2:20 pm #

Yes, along with all the special executive powers granted by virtue of the existing “States of Emergency”, once legally declared.

War on Drugs, War on Poverty, War on Fill-in-the-Blank – not all declared wars are of a military nature, but all afford special executive powers.

      • FGB3 January 29, 2024 at 1:09 pm #

I was afraid of that. They are usually one step ahead of events because they planned them.

      • mrJones January 29, 2024 at 5:07 pm #

Miss Demeanor, sounds like “Operation Garden Plot” is just the implementation of the Cloward-Piven strategy, which first appeared around 1966.

      • Sadiethecat January 31, 2024 at 10:57 pm #

Thanks Ms D, good info. I’m surprised that “Operation Garden Plot” was hatched as early as 1968, but don’t doubt it.

You write: these “[measures are] meant to use the crisis as an excuse to put boots on the ground in the US and permanently end whatever constitutional protections we have left?

Yep, they gutted our country, stripped the wealth, and now turn us against each other so we (the 99%) don’t come after them w 300 million+ guns. They’re scared for their lives, rightfully, and have militarized local police and ushered in foreigners who hate us. Plan B is the disease option.

Does anybody see us winning this? Look what happened to the Jan6 protesters.

The Mexican Army is about 300,000 strong. The U.S. Army 450,000. If recruiting continues the way it has, the U.S. Army slogan will finally begin to make sense.

      “an Army of One”

      • Cankerpuss January 29, 2024 at 10:34 am #

The Mexican army is already here. Invasion occurred without a single military bullet.

Interesting tidbit, my son currently resides in Cancun Mexico. He indicated to me that the Mexican government has slashed the number of annual residency visas they grant to Americans in half. Are the Mexicans preparing for something?

        • JohnAZ January 29, 2024 at 10:44 am #

The Mexicans smell the odor of death.

The Southwest may join Mexico with its new majority of Hispanics. The area is being prepared, Spanish everywhere.

It may be a good thing. Just acknowledge the cartels as the real power in the USA. Here they are known as the Deep State.

I’ve heard of radicals speaking of THEIR country as Atzland, to include NM, Az, parts of Southern Tx, and Southern Cali. What might they do with the non hispanics living there? I suspect they may have a little bit of trouble with Southern Tx, but probably not with the others.

Yes, I live in Utah in the Rocky Mountains and I am amazed at the number of brown spanish speaking people. I am fluent in Spanish so I am not threatened by that language but I find myself asking myself more and more “where are all the white people?”

The invasion has already happened. California already has a new name assigned to it by the Mexicans….”Azetlan.”

A nation is its people. As go the people, so go the nation. Whatever is coming won’t be America as we knew it at all.

Right now we’re a “country” – all things to all people and thus nothing much to anyone except the profiteers.

Has anyone here actually DRIVEN through the American desert southwest? I have. While some of the scenery is spectacular the region is sports some of the poorest land in the country and water scarcity out there just gets worse all of the time. If NM, AZ, NV, and Southern Cali all go back to Mexico we will have gotten the best part of that deal.

The funniest part will be the tens of millions of bewildered and dismayed illegal aliens who will – quite suddenly – find themselves BACK in Mexico again!

          • Cankerpuss January 29, 2024 at 5:56 pm #

Wizard, I am a native of Arizona now residing in Utah. I am very familiar with what you speak. The truth is, Utah, Colorado and Wyoming produce nearly all of the water that feeds the Colorado River which Arizona, southern Nevada and southern California thrive off. Pheonix is a City that, by all common sense should not exist. Too many people living in a place that can sustain that many people. Same goes for Las Vegas and Tucson.

Why would any White teenager enlist in the US Army` He’s heard since Day 1 in public schools what a lousy, imperialist, unfair, racist, homophobic country this is, and due to his white skin privilege ~ it’s his fault! Fine, this time around let them recruit the trannys, Strong Women, homosexuals & POCs they seem to be so fond of. Didn’t General Milley tell us transsexuals living their best life make the best soldiers? After all, they can stop a bullet just as well as we can. Besides how long have we been hearing that concepts like love of country & patriotism is for losers?

My company’s clinics have done contract work with the US Army Medical Command for about a dozen+ years, doing fitness for duty exams (mental and physical) for recruits and questionable GIs. They would send in kids who had 10 or 15 traffic tickets, those with a history of being on psychotropic agents, etc. For the past year, the MEPs recruiting office now tells my office manager that they are letting in anyone they can get, without evaluations, and regardless of psychiatric status and even some physical issues. WHEN we go to war, image a bunch of ADD or schizoaffective blue hairs with ACDC tattoos doing the battle.

Well, the bright side of this development is that the next useless foreign war will rid out society of some pretty sketchy characters instead of killing and maiming thousands of clean-cut, intelligent, patriotic, God-fearing kids from the rural areas of Red State America.

There is a lot to be said for that.

The more blue hair and tats and piercings and drug use the faster they should take them in and give them just enough training to make them deployable and then off they go to a beautiful garden spot like Syria or Somalia to spread the good news about DEI and gender fluidity!

I always pictured the end of Western Civilization somehow having more gravitas. Instead, it’s turning out to be more like something produced from the mind of Larry David – oops the elites poisoned billions of people with a highly profitable “vaccine,” and must go to ever more absurd lengths to find a way to cover it up. How awkward. And turns out the entire economy is a Ponzi scheme running on fumes. You won’t believe what those rascals will resort to to get out from under this mess! Hilarity insues.

        Clownworld Dissipation indeed.

“Is there any question that they are out to wreck Western Civ?”

It’s so hard to get your head around it, but yes, it IS intentional. Do we have the courage to believe our own eyes?

And yet…and YET!! The masters of the Imperial City somehow believe that their lofty perches are immune to the chaos and collapse. That their positions, holdings and estates are safe.

Perhaps they truly are surprised by the indignities they have suffered in Afghanistan, Syria, the Ukraine, the Red Sea…and now, most tellingly, in Texas and Texas-aligned states.

    • Cankerpuss January 29, 2024 at 10:32 am #

I agree with JHK on this one. Once the government loses the confidence of the governed it no longer has any authority. It becomes an illegitimate government. The government derives it authority from the governed and once the governed lose confidence in the government it no longer has any authority to govern. We are at this stage. Half of America (I believe it is more) no longer put any credence into what the federal government requires. When this happens the federal government, in order to gain compliance by the governed, resorts to coercion and force to obtain obedience from the governed. This of course creates more discord and anger in the governed and results in open rebellion against the government.

We are witnessing a death spiral of the American government system. We are in the coercion phase of its death. This is an incredibly dangerous time for us. Like a cornered raccoon this dying federal government, desperate to maintain its authority and legitimacy but unwilling to listen to its people, will fight tooth and nail to maintain all of its power.

I truly fear what is coming. I’m as prepares as I can be but I am a slave to this system that was foisted upon me by my parents and their parents and their parents. All I can do at this point is load my guns and wait for the inevitable.

God, if there is a God, help us.

‘All I can do at this point is load my guns and wait for the inevitable.’

It is also very dangerous when people begin to conclude that they have nothing left to lose, so…why not? Why not just go down fighting? Why not take with them as many members of the Cabal as they can? Besides it would be a patriotic thing. “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants”. Tyrants!

FGB3 “very dangerous when people begin to conclude that they have nothing left to lose”

And that’s what I’ve been preaching regarding the wait for “having nothing left to lose”. We always hear “someone” has to do something. But never hear “I’m” gonna do something. All those assholes looting and burning cities down have nothing to lose because they have neither skin in the game nor dog in the fight. So why not, tear it all down. Besides it’s fun. We, those that DO have something still to lose, still have pensions to realize, employment, property, debt, bills, retirement accounts we’ve responsibly scrapped together, etc. When our side has had the preponderance of what we have taken from us then maybe you’ll hear more of “I’m gonna do something”. And regarding any kind of a shooting civil war?…please. Ain’t gonna happin. Aside from some “Army of One” nut cases with an armory and 100k rounds of ammo, the rest of us have a pistol and or AR with enough rounds to get someone’s attention. But when the call goes out, like in video games, to !RELOAD! good luck with that. Any and all sources of resupply will have been shut down tight. And unlike Viet Nam, there will be no Russia or China supplying us and there also will be no Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Was talking to several young sailors that it was so bad on the ship they were offering $35,000 bonus to go there and when people started offing themselves people decided to get out rather than go there.
The NAVY then started sending people straight from A school to this ship since they had no choice in order picking.

Throw your drugs in there and there would be no penalties. They were scared to death of the inspection that would be done. Result, two full trash cans of just about everything and no problem with the inspection. They even raised grates in the bilges, a favorite hiding place.

Well, Rome initially was a republic and had a governing Senate. Eventually it was converted to a dictatorship with a supreme emperor. They existed for 400 years with that form of Government.

Is that where we are heading? Our Congress has become irrelevant. I’m waiting for our new dictator, whoever it may be, to declare the Congress disbanded due to its inability to accomplish anything.

      • JohnAZ January 29, 2024 at 11:39 am #

Lincoln was given god status years later for saving the Union and abolishing slavery. He was a dictator during the war, as was FDR during WW2. War time presidents are that, dictators. Which is exactly why this president is trying to find a war to get into. The difference will be that the Deep State will not go back to a republic after the war is over.

Remember, please, that Lincoln was the leader of the GOPers then that wanted a gentle Reconstruction but with his assassination, the Radical Republicans in Congress got control and punished the South severely. Booth really screwed the pooch with the assassination.

Sic Semper Tyrannis, the blow struck the wrong guy.

        • RD3 January 29, 2024 at 11:43 am #

You make the mistake of believing Lincoln’s rhetoric. He would have been even harsher. Lee is supposed to have said, years later, that if he had understood the true character of the Yankees at the time, he would have fought to the last man.

        • Cankerpuss January 29, 2024 at 1:40 pm #

I was raised believing Lincoln to be a God anointed President who saved this great union. However, as I have studied the Constitution of the past and the compromises between the Federalists and the States’ Rights people it has become very clear to me that Lincoln was a fascist who overthrew the Constitution of 1788. He destroyed the original compromises that existed and changed the nature of our Country. No longer was the USA a union of sovereign states. It was now a sovereign union with multiple administrative jurisdictions. Lincoln created the leviathan.

Lincoln also abrogated many war time agreements and authorized his generals, namely Sherman, to terrorize, rape, kill, plunder and rob innocent civilians. Lincoln didn’t wage war on the southern states because of slavery. He didn’t wage war on them because the seceded. The real reason he waged war on the southern states was because of money. Half the federal budget was going away when the southern states left. War is always about money. ALWAYS!

Lincoln got the justice he deserved and I anticipate that he is still rotting in hell somewhere in the eternal darkness.

          • Cavepainter January 29, 2024 at 2:06 pm #

I’ve posted this before but see it appropriate again re the discussion at hand:

My first philosophy professor was a PhD from the Sorbonne in Paris (also member of the French Underground fighting the occupying Germans). He never stopped inveighing against American’s self-exalting editing (re-writing essentially) of the issues that led to our Civil War, pointing out that Tolstoy in Russia — like all European noble folks who’d been “titled” land— was essentially no different from the US’s plantation owners in the period before our so called “War to End Slavery”.

For all of us students who’d read Upton Sinclair’s 1905 published novel “The Jungle”, Keller had to lead us to connect how Harriot Beecher Stow’s 1852 published “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” was really a virtue signal (not his label) of its time that gave cover to the fact that in the industrializing north the land-dispossessed poor and uneducated flood of immigrants out of Europe suffered conditions often worse than what Negros suffered in the south because in the South (as characterized by Margarette Mitchell’s “Gone With the Wind” and Samuel Clemmen’s writings) the 3-4 generations relationship between owner/slave families was commonly more similar to kindred, explaining why “chattel” were often better clothed, housed and fed than poor White’s off the plantation.

Tolstoy (who liked to dress up theatrically as proletariat to work in the fields with them), as with all of titled families in Europe, could expel commoners who’d occupied the acreage for centuries.

A century without plague resulted in swelled European population crowding into cities like described by Dickens in his 1847 book “A Christmas Carol” (the last paragraph of the book describes the transformed Scrooge “….as good a master as one could want”).

In the 1938 British movie of JB Shaw’s 1913 play “Pygmalion” (Hollywood’s 1956 “My Fair Lady”) Liza Dolittle’s father addresses Dr. Higgins and Colonel Pickering as “Governor’s both”, acknowledging that his commoner lot in 20th Century England remained less than “equal”, though legally a “freed man”.

Sinclair’s book had more to do with actually ending conditions of slavery; eventuating legislation that ended child labor, legalization of labor unions, agencies to enforce workplace safety and, finally (not until the 1940s) enacting laws which criminalized companies hiring goons to brutalize striking workers.

In other words, effecting legal balance against hegemonic economic, political and class power. The book’s public impact compelled President Teddy Roosevelt’s administration to nudge forward the four decades legal slog toward true worker class emancipation.

Emphatically, a clarion rebuke to Lincoln’s meretricious excuse for invading and destroying the South’s agricultural culture, an atrocity carried out with an army of which a great proportion comprised newly arrived European poor who’d been lured {recruited} by issue of desperately needed clothes (uniform) and avoidance of starvation. If Lincoln hadn’t opted for war to prevent the South’s secession there’d likely be no Lincoln Memorial.

Stowe’s book was written and first published in her hometown of Cincinnati, terminus of the “underground railroad”. A little understanding of how the owner/manager class of the industrializing North was using the flood of Negros from the South to break unionizing efforts lends understanding of why two of the largest pre-Civil War riots against the “Road to Freedom” occurred in Cincinnati.

The expression “Wage Slave” is credited to the American writer and associate of Sinclair, Jack London, but in actuality it was coined by Southern Plantation owners pre-Civil War, horrified in witness to the horrible working conditions that Sinclair was decrying in the next century.

As history repeatedly shows, selective strands pulled from the dense fabric of history allow demagogues to build a “narrative” justifying concentration of power. The French and Russian revolutions most particularly illustrate how the wobble can stabilize to extreme of “left” or “right” — even alternatively if history’s lessons aren’t headed or get “Cancelled”.

          • Uncle Bob January 29, 2024 at 11:13 pm #

As I wrote here several months ago, Lincoln got us into the Late Unpleasantness in order to save the asses of the northern bankers and industrialists who put him into office. If the Confederate State of America had succeeded, northern businesses would’ve held a ton of worthless paper against southerners and their property (including slaves).

One of my favorite undergrad profs marvelled at how masterfully Lincoln maneuvered the South into firing on US assets, first with the Star of the West incident, then with the bombardment of Fort Sumter. However, if Reagan had done similar things to what Lincoln did, that prof most likely would’ve led protests against Reagan’s warmongering.

What galls me is that you can’t explain anything to anyone about the Civil War era now without fear of reprisal. In the ’80s and early ’90s, people would listen as one explained that, for the first two years of the war, it was pitched as a fight to save the Union. After Lincoln came up with the idea to blame southerners for slavery, thereby shifting the blame for some of that atrocity off the shoulders of his financiers, it became the war to free the slaves AND save the union. And of course, now, if you say there was any reason for the war other than slavery, your reputation is ruined by [pick a socialist academic or politician], all the way over the Glenn Beck. How does one speak the truth, when doing so results in ruin? While I deeply regret not getting my PhD in history, there are scads of people with degrees specializing in mid-19th century American history who can’t teach at the collegiate level because there are only so many jobs to go around. Plus, as a non-Jacobin, I likely would’ve been hounded out of the profession years ago. In any case, the Lincoln cult has caused a tremendous amount of damage to America, and the cult of another pol from Illinois may well finish off the country. Thanks, Illini.

John – It would have made no difference if Lincoln had lived to finish out his 2nd term of office. He either would have been pushed into a harder Reconstruction by the Radicals in Congress or impeached and replaced. Even if not impeached he would have been out of office in 1869 and likely replaced with a Radical.

The North did not wage war against the South for 4 long years only to be deprived of the spoils of war by Abe the Ape.

      • beantownbill. January 29, 2024 at 1:38 pm #

I’m a born and bred Northerner from a very liberal state. However, over the last several years I’ve come to realize that America should never had been one country. North and South have always been two different societies. They could have gotten along well, as they have the same heritage and speak the same language.

My guess is that the FF were very afraid of England, which was the number one power at that time, and felt they needed to unite to maintain their own power. A bad decision, it turned out, but understandable – safety in numbers.

After several decades had passed, it was clear that that idea wasn’t working.

I don’t know if Lincoln was evil or not, but when the South wanted to split off, he should have let them. We would have all gotten along much better. There’s nothing wrong with differing lifestyles, but no, like a typical Power, we couldn’t give up our governing authority.

The issue with slavery was never a real issue because it was doomed as a way of life. Yes, slavery is evil, imo, but technological advancement would have obviated the practice.

        • Cankerpuss January 29, 2024 at 1:41 pm #

The problem with the south leaving is they took all those taxes with them. A massive chunk of the Federal budget. That was the true purpose of the North waging war on the southern states.

          • JohnAZ January 29, 2024 at 2:10 pm #

Not mentioned yet is the relationship between England and the North and South.

Mills were starting in the north to make clothing that were competing with the mills in England. Guess who they were buying their cotton from? The South was selling cotton to both competitors, driving up the price. Even during the war, the South wanted an alliance with England who was reluctant to piss off Lincoln and the northern manufacturers. Much support was given to the South by England during the war, they wanted a South separate from the North. Typical economic politics.

We’re about to see a replay of an asymmetric split wherein the blue states will be short on food and energy unlike the red states. Google and Look at any of the recent maps of the, now 25, states that are in support of Texas. A major difference this time is that the red states are highly armed and trained from childhood, and multiple surveys show that the vast majority of army, marines and navy support red state politics (i.e. patriots and constitutionalists). There are multiple reports from several red state AGs that colonels from the military services are contacting them showing support and asking for legal advice about joining the red coalition.

Plus, as I have pointed out in a prior JHK blog, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, recently said publicly that, if needed, they will supply heavy weaponry to Texas and the other red coalition states. SU-500’s will make mince meat out of pedo-biden’s threated F17s and all others in the F series.

The pedophile resident in the white house has fucked up badly this time. But, on the positive side he’s doing all red states a favor, intentionally or not, by pulling the wool from many otherwise dim eyes and brains.

At that time the FG was sustained by tariffs, not taxes. Southern cotton growers would sell cotton in GB and purchase manufactured goods there, returning on the same ship. Not only was Washington deprived of tariffs but northern industries lost market share.
Wars are always about economics. Had it been about abolishing slavery Lincoln would have freed the slaves on day one.

R Montari, if you are referring to the income tax, you are correct. The income tax was not instituted until the early 1900s under the Woodrow Wilson administration I believe. Still, the South was taking with it a lot of federal funding and it had to be stopped to keep Federal coffers flush with revenue.

Wrong. Red States are a net negative on the Federal budget >>> more out than collected.

Beantown: I am truly very concerned about patriots and constitutionalists who are trapped in communist blue shithole states. Having done residency and fellowship training in such shithole states, I have many friends who were very medically intelligent MDs who were too socially/culturally stupid to leave said blue states before they became too entrenched to leave comfortably.

We may well see a situation of balkanization on steroids where places like western MA vs east MA, upstate vs downstate HY, East Penn vs Western Penn divide into separate states. Similar process is going on in Western Oregon and part of northern Cali right now.

We are blessed to live in hyper interesting times, and at a 90 degree curve in history.

Hey Bill I see in Mass. those classic historical markers that were installed all over the State in the 1930s are being removed. I’m sure you’ve seen them. In my wanderings thru the Berkshires & the Pioneer Valley I would always stop and read those signs. Yes, your ‘DEI Commission found them offensive & “out of sync with today’s demographics”, so they had to go.

I could see them being replaced with a few George Floyd statues, & a gigantic David Ortiz monument to mollify the growing Dominican population.

Bean- The Constitution was not necessarily a document created out of a sense of fear of England. It was a coup on the Articles of Confederation by a bunch of land speculators. It was a good way to get rid of a bunch of debt too.

        • Wizard of the Saddle January 30, 2024 at 10:15 am #

Bill – That was a very sensible and correct assessment. The North and South were too different to survive as a single country. If the South had been allowed to go in peace in 1861 it would have benefitted pretty much everyone all around immensely.

Slavery still would have ended – most likely by the 1890’s, if not sooner, in the Confederate States. The United States most likely would have prohibited the immigration of blacks from Dixie, so the South would either have had to repatriate them to Mother Africa or maintain a segregated society for perpetuity to prevent the destruction of the Southern Confederacy’s culture and national strength.

Over time, I think many blacks would have opted to emigrate out of the CSA to any countries who would take them. This would have left both the USA and the CSA far stronger and healthier as nation states once North America was free of Africans who simply never could fully assimilate or compete in white society.

Many, if not most, Caesars weren’t Octavians or Marcus Aureliuses. They were instead Biden-like, in the sense they opposed unpopular leaders and got the Praetorian Guard to install them as the next “divinity.” This worked until somebody else came along — then off with your head, and all hail the new Caesar!

It would be improper to say “shoot at the Blue Helmets.”

That;s how Dad did it in WWII France, and it worked out OK – even though the enemy was sartorially superior.

    • buckeyeman January 29, 2024 at 9:50 am #

Since you (and JHK) brought it up, I believe this topic is ripe for serious thought. If…IF “Joe Biden” advanced some inane pretextual reason to cancel the 2024 election… what would be the appropriate response?

I don’t think armed individuals or even militias would have much effect. Who do you shoot at? There will be no “blue helmets”. A more likely and effective avenue would be to look to our state governments to oppose the Federal Vampire Squid. Would it be another “war of secession” like the last one or a genuine civil war in which the rebellious states sought to wrest control of the central governing apparatus from the true traitors?

      • Ron Anselmo January 29, 2024 at 10:03 am #

If and when they get their intentional collapse, by whatever means, it will not be localized or geographically isolated – think grid or financial – in that instance, armed individuals and militias will be necessary and invaluable locally, and folks should plan accordingly. Yes, larger forces will be required at larger levels of engagement.

        • beantownbill. January 29, 2024 at 1:58 pm #

We never learn. We’re replaying the Civil War. CW1 really didn’t solve anything, and now the government is playing the same game, with the same future result.

I smell blood in the air.

It gets pretty frustrating. Several years ago I lost complete faith in humanity. We’re too stupid to advance.

It’s too bad. We really had a chance to reach the stars. I will continue on in the somewhat hopeless hope that it might not be too late.

            Notice Bill

The opponents are the same, it is Red (South) against Blue (North). Add on western states of Blue versus Red and you have:

            Instant replay?

            Deja vu?

I do not believe that the Feds have enough guts to fight a devil war. You know why? Because their constituents do not give a damn enough about the American character to fight for it.

Let the country split, it is the only way to get out of the mess we are in.

          • Blackbird January 29, 2024 at 6:48 pm #

There is a lot of blue in the red states, a lot of red in the blue states. There is no clear geographical division as there was in the War of Northern Aggression.

I am certain there will be no secession, no organized resistance to the globalist traitors destroying this country. Instead the patriotic blood of this country will spill through thousands of tiny, practically unnoticed cuts. A trucker having his truck confiscated, a farmer having his farm stolen from beneath his feet, a father having a “mostly peaceful’ “demonstrator” crash feet-first through the windshield of his car as he drives his children to school. They will finally say, “Goddamn it, I’ve had enough!” and start fighting back – individually – and go to prison or be shot dead for their resistance.

Then comes the backlash – gun confiscation, further demonization of evil racist whites, more government-sponsored love-fests for criminal scum, more illegal invaders invited into our country, martial law. More patriots pulling the trigger, more patriots being killed. Drone strikes. UN “Peacekeepers”.

I don’t see how we – decent, law-abiding, US citizens – have any chance of winning, of overthrowing our criminal government, of turning back the tide of globalism. But that is no reason to give up. Die on your feet or die on your knees, you’re gonna die one way or another. Be sure to take a few of the enemy with you when you go.

      • JohnAZ January 29, 2024 at 10:09 am #

Biden and his Mob are cowards. If this country needs to split up according to beliefs on socialism, now is a perfect time. If Texas et al continue their Balkan drive, IMHO, the Deep State will do nothing to stop it.

Like you said, who will they shoot at? They only care about issues affecting the East Coast, so that will just continue. To the Biden Mob, with the exception of California the flyover states are the domain of Trump’s MAGA and cutting them off may be a good thing.

Until someone intelligent figures out that that is where the food and the energy comes from.

Hey, maybe there is the problem. There is no one in DC that is that intelligent, and the Biden Mob wants to eliminate fossil fuels and to eat bugs. Texas is just the beginning.

        • Cankerpuss January 29, 2024 at 10:49 am #

“There is no one in DC that is that intelligent”

Correction, JohnAZ. There are intelligent people in Washington.

I believe there aren’t any good, moral, decent, Constitution loving people. Washington is a cesspool of filth, immorality, decay, decadence, sloth and more. It deserves to be destroyed.

          • JohnAZ January 29, 2024 at 11:00 am #

What is your definition of intelligent, CankerPuss? Common sense is a major component and DcC shows very little of that intelligence.

          • C.O.Jones January 29, 2024 at 11:32 am #

Intelligent is a relative term. The “elites” who have stashed non – GMO seeds in Svalbard are the same people who have flooded the world’s food supply with GMO garbage foods creating a plethora of diseases and maladies in the consumers. Notice please: They are not eating that crap. It’s intended for you and me.

The same group is behind the media campaigns and wokeism encouraging miscegenation. Do you think for a minute that they would permit their daughters to marry outside of their tribe? These are some of the most inbred people on the planet. Again, that’s for the proletariat – not for them.

The same can be said for the death shots. The elites view themselves as superior in intellect to anyone stupid enough to take a genetic experiment that ostensibly protects that stupid person from a disease with a 99.76% survival rate. One of the features of the death shot is to wreck a person’s immune system in preparation for the next pandemic the elites have guaranteed us. They didn’t’ take the damned shot – it’s for you and me.

It is way past time that sentient beings come to the conclusion that the elites pushing us into GMO “food”, dilution of the gene pool, death shots and world war 3 are Satanic. They hate mankind made in the image of God. Those elites have backed a loser and their satisfaction with the appearance of superior intelligence will be short-lived.

In previous comments, I have quoted Matthew 24:13 about persevering to the end. That’s my objective.

          • Jarek January 29, 2024 at 12:58 pm #

Yes, they are far more intelligent than regular people. It’s fine to mock their press releases and antics, humor being a weapon. But if people start believing their own jokes, it would have been better not to have started.

          • Cankerpuss January 29, 2024 at 1:45 pm #

JohnAZ, I don’t know. I don’t see incompetence coming out of Washington. I believe everything they do is completely thought out and calculated. They know what they are doing and why they are doing it. They plan this stuff. What is occurring is not happenstance put on by a myriad of dunces. EVERYTHING that is happened has been thoughtfully planned out and executed in perfect timing and action.

This is not stupidity, my friend. This is evil. Nothing more.

          • KappaJoe January 29, 2024 at 6:30 pm #

Evil is inherently stupid because it shits its own bed through its nefarious acts, while stupid is not necessarily evil and usually isn’t, per se — indolent maybe, but not automatically evil.

This is why evil often feigns stupidity. However, the evil apparently can’t help but to parade their evil and rub it in the people’s faces, especially lately. How stupid is that?

          • Blackbird January 29, 2024 at 6:52 pm #

One of the greatest tricks of the criminals in DC has been to convince us that they are incompetent. That all the damage they have done, and continue to do, is an accident.

They – and particularly those who pull their strings – know exactly what they are doing.

        • neurodoc January 29, 2024 at 3:54 pm #

JohnAZ: You are RIGHT ON about both of your above comments. After the split, the red states will grow and thrive, having the right resources, and do friendly trade with the rest of the world, inc., BRICS+. The blue states will turn into even more so huge, starving, lawless ghettoes, with low IQ degenerates running things in their corrupted geographic pockets. And, the red leaning constitutionalists and patriots trapped in the red pockets within blue states might either A) split off and join the red states, or will B) wage war against the retarded degenerates in their capital cities. I predict the former, wherein eventually the red states will need to militarily assist our brethren in the blue states: Think Donbas!!!

DAMN! If I weren’t so busy, for my age, I’d write a novel about the above. 🙂

Yes, The Kelly Turnbull novels by Kurt Schlichter are great. He’s written about 8 of them so far about a future America where Red and Blue have split into two separate countries by the 2030’s.

Great books. Lots of action and plenty of hilarious takes on the insanity of the Blue State “People’s Republic.” I heartily recommend them to the CFN blog members. All are available on Amazon and can be downloaded in affordable Kindle ebook format or ordered as paperbacks.

        Agreed Buckeye.
I’ve always concluded that the only way to oppose the Federal goverrnment was via the States. Which is why I got quite excited by Greg Abbot’s action in Texas; when the other 25 states joined him/Texas that was even more than I had hoped for so soon.

Loose bands of militiamen, vigilantes, etc. have no real legitimacy, whereas the States are actual governments. It takes a government to oppose a government. And, despite Lincoln’s abrogation of the true status of the States, there is still that constitutional basis. Abbot saw this as the lawyer he was, and still is.

        • neurodoc January 29, 2024 at 4:28 pm #

FGB3: And, Constitutionally, states can call up private militias, which are trained and ready in many red states, to assist the state guards and under guard control and direction. That’s different from a bunch of ya hoo’s running amuck.

    “A real-live Mexican stand-off”.

I do believe Mr. Kunstler is the first to apply that expression to the situation.

    • JohnAZ January 29, 2024 at 10:21 am #

Could a legitimate Mexican war ensue? Biden is all of a sudden trying to get resources from Congress to step up stopping the inflow of migrants.

Bullshit. He will do nothing to the open border, McConnell is really showing his RINO hindquarters now by signing up to this lie. Thank goodness the House GOP conservatives will be able to block this debacle.

War with Mexico? Mexico needs to get rid of the human flood at its border. It does not have the resources to support the flood. The most disgusting thing about the open border is that we do not have the resources either, as the migrants are starting to figure out. Half the states are starting to fight back, will they put enough boots at the border to stop the flow? Will they ignore the silly Dems in New Mexico, Arizona and So Cal to send in boots to block the border, all of it? If the USA Balkanizes, will each section have its own dictates regarding the border? Will walls get erected all around the mid states sector to stop the Blue scum from invading for resources? Big questions?

      • Not_GeorgeT January 29, 2024 at 11:01 am #

Could be the ’15 minute cities’ will become reality, however they won’t emerge as planned.

Instead, as you suggest, they might emerge as walled-off enclaves.

The question might arise asking if they are to keep us deplorables out (who have no deisire to go there) or maintain either

        1- misery likes company

2- further enslavement of the masses who reside there

or both plus a few more consequences added to the perennial simmering pot

      • Cankerpuss January 29, 2024 at 1:49 pm #

I’d like to see a wall along the western borders of Idaho and Utah to keep the California scum from coming. They have devastated the housing market here with all of their money and now they are voting the same policies they did back home.

They’ve already destroyed Arizona and Nevada. Colorado and New Mexico is a lost cause.

        • Wizard of the Saddle January 30, 2024 at 10:45 am #

Cankerpuss – I sympathize, but a wall isn’t the best solution in my view. What is needed is a national divorce between the Red States and the Blue States – which can then be quickly followed by a declaration of war by the Red States on the Blues so that we can invade their rotten enclaves and liquidate these scum – permanently.

In this way we re-take the whole country.

Afterwards, a series of new constitutional amendments could be passed to erect new barriers against any future resurgence of the Leftist/Marxist/Communist/Woke mind virus.

Then we can put all of our desecrated statues back and tear down all of the Woke monuments that replaced them. We will use the confiscated wealth of the Blues as reparations to pay for the restoration of our rape cultural icons. The first thing we restore will be ALL of the Confederate monuments. A strong point needs to be made.

          • Wizard of the Saddle January 30, 2024 at 10:46 am #

Thank You James. Your honest take on The Situation reveals the Decline & Fall of Western Civilization. From MY prospective; the Arab populations of the Middle East have been bombed continuously ~ by Western Civilization ~ since Bush’s First Gulf War in 1990. 34 years of continuous bombing probably created a LOT of those jihadists and refugees, you mentioned, flooding into Europe and America.

To me, it looks like those who have “lived by the sword” are in the process of “dying by the sword.” There are more “sides” to this story than a diamond. I was unpleasantly surprised when RFK Jr and Tulsi revealed their dedication to swordplay. In this case, knowing the future doesn’t change the outcome. Again: thank you for writing.

Propaganda created a lot of those jihadists’ beliefs, and then US training, funding and arming did the rest.

The US backed the Muslim Brotherhood since the 50s,backed the jihadists in Afghanistan in the 80s and in Yugoslavia in the 90s and in Chechnya in the 2000s. Oh, and ISIS in 2014. The University of Nebraska provided jihadist textbooks for the madrassas starting in the 80s. Get ’em while they’re young, doncha know.

Stir up hatred, provide a focus, and hand out weapons and ammo, even drive or fly them to the targeted area. Boom! (so to speak.)

The Jihad is 1500 hundred years old, Paula. Sheesh.

So Jars, are you saying that the US hasn’t backed the Muslim Brotherhood? Didn’t back the jihadis in Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, Chechnya, and elsewhere? Didn’t create ISIS and Al Qaeda?

Jihad, by the way, has yet to reach its 1,400th birthday, Mohammed having ascended to Paradise in AD 632.

Seems someone else needs a little history lesson – math too…

          • Jarek January 30, 2024 at 12:34 pm #

So you admit that the Jihad predates the United States? And that for some reason known only to yourself, you are white knighting for an ignoramus?

Shame on you. She’s the typical fanatic that wants to blame everything on the United States.

The Jihadis will do Jihad whether “we” support them or not. The Globalist are trying to use Islam to destroy Western culture.

          • Blackbird January 30, 2024 at 5:53 pm #

Of course Jihad predates the US – no “admission” necessary. I know a little history JarJar.

I am not “white knighting” for anybody. You often make thought-provoking and intelligent comments. You also often make silly claims, saying that people said something they didn’t say. I’ve been on the receiving end of those silly claims more than once – for example, your comment that I am now responding to. I’m just trying to help you maintain some credibility. So I guess if I am “white knighting” for anyone, it’s you.

So what you are saying is, it’s ok for the US to support the Jihadis – and spread instability and mayhem, as well as advancing the cause of Islam – because Jihadis gotta Jihad.

I didn’t know you were an Islamist Jars. Learn something new every day…

          • Jarek February 1, 2024 at 1:32 pm #

Ok, because Paula said that the Jihad was just part of US policy or something – as if they have no will or autonomy of their own.

As for your question, I’m a White Nationalist. I wouldn’t allow any of them in our countries, no not one. Can you say the same about yourself?

BRH thinks that Hitler was taking orders from the Mufti. It’s amazing how far otherwise intelligent people can deviate from the Truth.

Both sides used them during WW2 – a very bad sign auguring worse to come. Does Putin believe the Chechens are loyal Russians now? What utter folly if so.

The question has gone from whether or not there will be a secession to what said secession might look like. This Texas action feels a little like more like Berlin, 1989 than Ft. Sumpter, 1861. I have no doubt Obama is stupid enough to order federal troops comprised mostly of Texans to shoot on Texans, but I’m pretty sure they’re not gonna do it and then instead of tearing down a wall we’ll start building one up….not only along the Rio Grande, but also along the Red and the Sabine. Do people realize that law that was enacted solely to allow Ms. Carroll’s nutty allegations she made years ago to become a legal case now that one of the men she accused is president, is no longer a law? It had a deadline, so you won’t see any more of these.

If someone wasn’t quick on the draw, not paying attention, they lost their chance.

Not that anybody but Ms. Carroll would be enabled by the courts the way she was.

They would have to provide “evidence”, and the accused would be allowed to present a “defense”, and there would be no 83 million verdict.

    • rainmaker January 29, 2024 at 10:10 am #

Was there any actual proof that Trump assualted the Carroll woman?

      • Bill of Rights January 29, 2024 at 10:20 am #

No proof and no conviction. Why isn’t Carrol the one being charged with defamation?

Friday, the largest and generally conservative swiss newspaper, NZZ, did however report that Trump raped her. Article written by their New York correspondent.

        • benr January 29, 2024 at 10:25 am #

It was deemed that she was not telling the truth about the event.
She couldn’t tell the Jury even what year this happened.
The soiled dress was not manufactured around the time she claimed this happened and she was unable to produce the soiled dress.
This was a fabricated event from top to bottom.
It is far easier to go after someone on a civil matter.

          • benr January 29, 2024 at 10:28 am #

She lost the criminal matter and instantly took it to a civil matter.
This is about damaging Trump and tying him up in court cases nothing more.

          • Mike Sherman January 30, 2024 at 8:47 pm #

What criminal case? Once again, you’re talking outta your ass.

The Adult Survivors Act allowed a 12-month window during which accusers could bring CIVIL cases:

“When New York’s Adult Survivors Act took effect in November 2022, it offered a rare opportunity for survivors of sexual assault. For one year, the state removed its time restrictions on civil lawsuits and allowed adult survivors to sue their abusers and the institutions that protected them no matter when the attacks occurred.

In the months following the law’s passing, only a few dozen civil cases were filed. As the November 24 deadline neared, however, hundreds of suits poured in — nearly 3,000 in total — with allegations against powerful figures in entertainment, politics, law enforcement and beyond.

So, the whole thing was enacted specifically so Carroll could go after Drumpf (known for describing the exact act she accused him of, on tape)? I don’t think so.

        • JohnAZ January 29, 2024 at 10:31 am #

Why didn’t they fight for a change in venue, there was no way a fair trial could be held in NY. Same with the fraud trial.

Every thing that Trump is facing is a made up BS charge that is entirely political by a Deep State that is so corrupt. Everything he is being accused of is standard operating procedure by this lousy federal government and its financier George and Alex Soros.

Whatever happened to those Seattle nuts that “seceded from the US, an actual insurrection?

There is no proof that he ever even met her.

She had previously claimed to have an outfit with DNA on it, but that was not used in court as evidence so Trump could not use DNA to refute that claim and they couldn’t even present the known fact that the dress or whatever it was, was not even made at the time she said she was wearing it.

A friend of hers claims that Carroll called her at the time and told her, and was laughing about it.

        Thats the extent of it.

The award wasn’t for the assault, the award was for defamation because he claimed he didn’t rape her, after a jury in a civil trial had convicted him of sexual abuse.

Even the wall – useful as it is – has its limits as an effective tool for halting illegal migration. As George S. Patton rightly observed, fixed fortifications are monuments to the perpetual stupidity of man.

Obstacles help, but you have to have flesh and blood soldiers and border guards with shoot to kill authority if you want to really seal a 2,000+ mile border. Also, minefields would be an excellent additional deterrent.

Do all of those things and unlawful immigration will drop to such a low level that you’ll be able to count the annual tally of “gotaways” on your fingers and toes.

“Let me ruin the suspense for everyone. Trump doesn’t have an appeal.

I know the talking heads on TV (who have never tried a case or appealed a jury verdict) have to mention it. Here’s why it isn’t going to fly.

To have a meritorious appeal, you have to preserve a reversible error at the trial level. This is why you hire competent counsel. You need someone who actually knows the rules of evidence and procedure.

Alina Habba had no clue what was occurring throughout the trial. She not only failed to preserve any remote grounds for appeal, like a moron, she repeatedly and unintentionally waived them over and over.

For example, she kept saying “no objection” as exhibits were entered into evidence.

It appeared to me that she was saying that because she that’s something she had heard real lawyers say before.

Unfortunately for Mr. Trump, what she was doing over and over was waiving his ability to appeal over those evidentiary issues. Because she is a moron who would rather *play* lawyer than do the research to *be* a lawyer.

There’s no appeal here. And because people have asked me in the past, no, there is no such thing as an incompetent counsel defense in civil cases. That’s for criminal matters.

Take this verdict to the bank.

Police are employed by and maintain allegiance to the city & county commissioners – their bosses – and represent policy. Most are not bad people individually, just part of a corrupted bureaucratic system.

Sheriffs represent the people – answer to the people – elected by the people. One of the most important elections there are, affecting your local, daily life. Choose wisely.

        • elysianfield January 29, 2024 at 5:59 pm #

Maybe in some places…but not all. Many police jobs are civil service, or used to be. I can state with absolute honesty that we did not give a fuck what the mayor or city council wanted. We enforced state law, city ordinances, and Federal Code (If we had nothing better to do).

          • Ron Anselmo January 29, 2024 at 11:09 pm #

E – I know you’re an ex-LEO, so I will defer to you. However, city ordinances are initially the brainchildren, born of the infinite wisdom of mayors and city councils.

            An anecdote:

In St. Johns County, FL, a population of about 270K, we have only two municipalities. One of about 7K, and one of about 15K, so the remaining 258K are under county jurisdiction (Sheriff).

The two municipalities are lefty enclaves with liberal city commissions. Their policy affects most because they are the most “developed” areas – the rest of the county consists of what I call saltwater crackers or rural.

One mayor lording over her fiefdom, unilaterally decided to fly the rainbow flag at City Hall for Pride Month (June). I went on a one-man mission – dragged her through the local paper – went to the next City Commission meeting and had it taken down.

This is how they think – think they can do anything they want. It forced the City Attorney to draft an ordinance specifying only the American or State of Florida flags can be flown at the City Hall flagpole.

We’re small town – she doesn’t like me. Rolls her eyes every time she sees me coming to a meeting. What’s he going to go off about now? I love it.

I used to work for the sheriff’s office in one of our counties. The sheriff is elected but the department gets funding from the county commissioners. The city police are hired by the mayor and the city council and answer to same in my state.

          • Ron Anselmo January 31, 2024 at 3:06 pm #

Same here Linda, in St. Johns County, FL. Fortunately, this county has always been a conservative stronghold. Five County Commission seats – all Republican for the last 20 plus years.

This county runs like a top, productive, efficient, politically & financially conservative – proof of concept on policy.

In the last false real estate run up ~ 2000-2008, all the frothy tax revenues were wisely put into reserves – most other municipalities spent like drunken sailors.

When the market crashed, and most municipalities cried poor or broke, we sailed through the downturn.

In 2007, our Sherriff returned an unspent $5MM to the county, from belt-tightening own his budget – when do you ever see that?

I notice the story that UN workers were fired for “helping” Hamas on October 7 doesn’t seem to be getting a lot of media attention.

Israel had a list of workers who they claimed participated in some way, and the UN terminated their contracts and are now investigating.

If they terminated their contracts, does that make them one of those NGOs?

The Biden Administration cut the funding to the agency the 12 people worked for, UNRWA.

Previously the Trump Administration had cut their funding but Biden restored it.

If these people are suspected of participating in a terrorist attack, shouldn’t they have been arrested, not just let go?

We still have not gotten to the bottom of how and why this attack was allowed to occur, and no one seems to want to find out.

    • Jarek January 29, 2024 at 1:16 pm #

And the media who were embedded with Hamas during the attack.

“…why this attack was allowed to occur…”

      Cui bono?

Gaza cleared of its pesky inhabitants. A quit claim to the massive petroleum deposits off the coast. A wider middle east war sponsored by U$.

      Yup, a real head-scratcher…

    In other news,…

The human creature delays, waits for other moments, waits for other times, but My children, time has shortened, the seas are agitated from the sea floor and coastal countries will suffer, they will suffer and the lamentations of humanity will be great.

My children, the climates will be unpredictable, the rains will be stronger and more intense at every moment, for what has been prophesied will be fulfilled because it is the Word of God. He has sent Me (at this moment) so that you may know in advance the Divine Designs and knowing this, there are still My children who do not believe, who do not feel fear and who mock My Divine Son and this Mother.

Everything that has a taste of Jesus Christ My Divine Son, they despise everything and afterwards they will regret it; then they will cry, prostrate themselves and ask for forgiveness. Why not do it at this time… so that when times will be extremely difficult, the Mercy of My Divine Son will remain in advance with you and My children will maintain the faith necessary to overcome the labor pains that the whole Earth will experience.

    My little children:

I call you with My Love to enter into the Ark of Salvation. I lead you to My Divine Son. I lead you to serene waters because he who lives of My Divine Son, that creature will not look with the eyes that others of My children who do not believe in the Word that the Most Holy Trinity sends them from Heaven, anticipating events so that they do not falter, but on the contrary, so that faith may increase, not out of fear, but out of love for the Most Holy Trinity.

Little children, water will be scarce, the climate will change, water will be scarce, food will be difficult to acquire and currencies will be so devalued that it will be difficult to acquire what is necessary. I am warning you so that you may have what you need, children.

I HAVE BROUGHT YOU BY DIVINE WILL THE NATURAL MEDICINES SO THAT YOU MAY SURVIVE THE DISEASES THAT ARE APPROACHING AND OTHERS THAT ARE ALREADY ON EARTH. Do not take illnesses lightly, some are manufactured, but others are found on earth as a product of the sin of the human creature and it is urgent that you, My children, possess what is necessary.

Unite My children, pray for each other because what the Devil despises most is unity, love and feeling and seeing that My children receive My Divine Son constantly, because He is the Divine Food, the Food of the Angels and if you can receive Him, do it now; receive My Divine Son now, because later perhaps you will not be able to receive Him.

I bless you, My children, wherever you are, I bless your heart, your mind, your thoughts, your conscious and unconscious. I bless your hands, your feet, I bless your whole body and I bless you the gift of the word so that you may be bearers of love and unity, so that you may be recipients of the Word of eternal life.

I bless you in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Ok, here we go. Get out of here, false spirit, parading as God. So says the One True God (there are not 3). There is no divine mother of God. Jesus said those who do His will are His mother and brothers. Mary believed, but you are not Mary, false spirit. And the Catholic Church is not of God – never was and never will be. Know this, Martin Luther and all protestors. You can’t make His Body or join it through men’s organizations, only be born into it from above.

25 States back Texas in its mission to seal the border. You just need 8 more states to sign on and you could have a Constitutional Convention where the Federal Government could be stripped of much of its power. The Federal government could be forced to give up federal lands to pay off its debts and the federal government could be stripped of its police force and spy agencies. Anything could happen once that process is put in motion.

    • Rain Waters January 29, 2024 at 11:27 am #

They should start by selling off Federal lands in the DC area. Maybe they could get a bunch of money for the MLK monument? Sell off some of those “priceless” possessions sequestered away in the Smithsonian. I am sure some big-name collectors would be happy to form over their millions for something of historic and artistic value. They would do better to own it than the US Government.

    • Cankerpuss January 29, 2024 at 1:56 pm #

      John Lennnon

      Imagine there’s no heaven
      It’s easy if you try
      No hell below us
      Above us, only sky
      Imagine all the people
      Living for todayI

      [Verse 2]
      Imagine there’s no countries
      It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
      And no religion too
      Imagine all the people
      Living life in peace

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

      [Verse 3]
      Imagine no possessions
      I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
      A brotherhood of man
      Imagine all the people
      Sharing all the world

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one

Jarek: The above is both an anthem and a catechism. It says right there in verse 2, no countries. They know what they’re doing. That’s not to say it will work or not result in hell on Earth if it does.

John and Yoko were rich and had many possessions. They made no attempt to live up to this.

I always thought the whining refrain of:

“I hope someday you’ll join us…” was elitist & condescending.

No-talent manipulatress Yoko and bored sex fiend John, living the “high life” in the Dakota (ugh). They had no need of displaying themselves in war-weary glam to the gawking rubes.

        They did, they paid.

        Just “John’s dead.”

Flashing back to that shot of them looking like the American Army had just released the captives of Dachau, I not illogically thought “Suicide?”

On a cosmic scale perhaps not so mistaken.

I just want a nuclear superpower to take out DC already. If it has to come from an inside cell of recent migrants that crossed through Texas, so be it. Just get the job done. We need utter destruction and chaos first, before we can begin the act of rebuilding this country on properly corrected footings. I’m not saying this is my preferred option, but it is the most definitive act that would get the pendulum swinging in the right direction.

Yeah, I can vouch for the fact that you both have Israel Derangement Syndrome.

          • Roundball Shaman January 30, 2024 at 6:54 pm #

Uncle Abraham: “… you both have Israel Derangement Syndrome.”

There most certainly is derangement going on. But here is where it truly originates from:

“With regard to bloodshed, if a gentile murders another gentile, or a gentile murders a Jew, he is liable. If a Jew murders a gentile, he is exempt.” (Sanhedrin 57a:16)

“With regard to robbery, the term permitted is relevant, as it is permitted for a Jew to rob a gentile.” (Sanhedrin 57a:17)

“One who slaps the cheek of a Jew is considered as though he slapped the cheek of the Divine Presence; as it is stated: ‘It is a snare [mokesh] for a man to rashly say [yala]: Holy’”. (Sanhedrin 58b:18)

“A gentile who engages in Torah study is liable to receive the death penalty; as it is stated: ‘Moses commanded us a law [torah], an inheritance of the congregation of Jacob’, indicating that it is an inheritance for us, and not for them.” (Sanhedrin 59a:2)

“From where is it derived that it is permitted to retain the lost item of a gentile?… “With every lost thing of your brother’s”, indicating that it is only to your brother that you return a lost item, but you do not return a lost item to a gentile.” (Bava Kamma 113b:8)

“The Merciful One dispossesses the male gentile of his offspring, as it is written with regard to Egyptians: ‘Whose flesh is the flesh of donkeys, and whose semen is the semen of horses’, i.e., the offspring of a male gentile is considered no more related to him than the offspring of donkeys and horses.” (Yevamot 98a:3)

“A man is obligated to recite three blessings every day praising God for His kindnesses, and these blessings are: Who did not make me a gentile; Who did not make me a woman; and Who did not make me an ignoramus.” (Menachot 43b:17)

My Comment: It’s not derangement to recognize real derangement where you find it. If it were my choice… the above kind of thinking and sentiment would not exist in favor of something more humane.

We are all equal children of Divinity. But not every group chooses to acknowledge that.

Great post Jim! I too fear a lockdown! The big question is how can we avoid it? To date we are trying to fix a corrupt system by using the corrupt system to fix itself. This reminds me of why I always stop banging my head against the wall – it feels so good I stop. And I am feeling good because Abbot has stopped trying to use their system to fix the system and it feels good. Granted when Biden sends F16s to the border to teach Abbot a lesson it won’t feel quite so good, but I will be able to say – “told you so”

  30. socialisthater January 29, 2024 at 3:49 pm #

JHK hits the nail on the head with this blog. Ask this salient question: Why would Joe Biden and the Democrat scumbags in his Administration spend most of his Presidential term enacting Executive Order after Executive Order that, by their very design, are enraging at least 75% of the American electorate in at least one way, usually many more? Well, the answer is that the Democrat Party and Biden DON’T CARE ABOUT THE ELECTION because they don’t plan on having one. Indeed, a major goal of the Administration’s insane policies on the border, energy, the economy, “education”, and sexualization is to enrage enough people to cause a violent reaction to such insanity–ironically a violent reaction being the sane reaction in the face of such blatant tyranny and treason. Then, Biden and the Democrat scum can declare Martial Law, suspend habeas corpus, “postpone” the 2024 election, and begin imprisoning and exterminating any political opposition.

Where would Biden and the Democrat scum elite cabal get such an idea? Well, first and foremost, from one Adolf Hitler. It was Hitler’s Nazi Party (called the National Socialist Workers Party–there is that “Socialism” thing that the Democrat scum elite love) that likely burned the Reichstag in 1933, and then blamed the Communists for it. Hitler used it as the excuse to eliminate all basic human rights in Germany, and to seize total power when Hindenburg died a short time later.

Watch what happens at the border in the coming days. My guess is that the Biden scum will incite some violence, then blame it on Texas for actually attempting to stop an invasion by illegal aliens that Biden et all invited.

Biden et al are too dumb to look at a map, though. Biden and the Democrat scum only hold widespread support in a relatively few large metropolitan areas. Their support is rapidly evaporating every day in nearly all of exurban and rural America–that geographical area of colossal size where most of the food, energy, and even drinking water comes from. As a friend of mine–an emergency preparedness coordinator for many years–said when discussing a full-scale war, civil or otherwise, in the U.S., “Without urban America, the rural areas would not live well; without rural America, the cities wouldn’t live at all.” Biden has nearly lost all of rural America, already.

An Afghan migrant working as a security Guard who allegedly threw Molotov cocktails and opened fire with a long gun at a Canadian city hall is said to have published a wide-ranging video manifesto talking of diverse subjects like “genocide” in Gaza, house prices, and the importance of obeying Canadian law before the attack, reports claim.

A man opened fire at Edmonton City Hall on Tuesday, lighting “several” incendiary devices described as “Molotov cocktails” before shooting rounds from a long gun into the walls and ceiling.
He was subsequently apprehended by security who detained him until the police could arrive and nobody was killed.

A suspect, named as 28-year-old Bezhani Sarvar by Canada’s Globe and Mail has been charged with six counts including reckless use of a weapon, arson, and throwing explosives with intent to cause harm and appeared in court on Thursday.

But I just saw 6.5 minutes of it and the guest is young and seems to be missing many elements of the picture. I won’t bother with the rest.

The US appears increasingly in dire straits as their extreme per capita demand for energy is not meshing, increasingly, with the reality on the ground, or under it (oil).

As for what Tucker’s guest may be suggesting WRT a direct war with Iran, I would be surprised if that happened, since Russia will likely back them. IOW, it’s a losing proposition for USA. It appears USA’s proxies there are getting knocked off too, not just their bases.

The most effective and perhaps one of the only ways out of USA’s predicaments would seem to be to close up shop overseas and deliberately impoverish themselves at home. Not BBQ campfire rat necessarily, but maybe more like a 1900’s lifestyle and/or Cuba’s Special Period thingy.

I found Gonzalo Lira’s discussion to be quite damning for Nuland and others currently in the Biden administration (past administrations as well). He discusses deep state modes of operation.

Wikipedia posts the following about him:
“Gonzalo Ángel Quintilio Lira López was a Chilean-American novelist, filmmaker, commentator and self-styled dating coach. He was involved in the manosphere, posting anti-feminist content under the name of Coach Red Pill. As a resident of Kharkiv, Ukraine, he vlogged about the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine and was described as spreading Russian disinformation and propaganda.”

Speaking of lies, I wonder if lying is a disease, as so many in “Joe Biden’s” administration present the symptoms.

As I recall, Gonzalo Lira made the video near the end of 2022.

Gonzalo Lira describes that “Victoria Nuland’s” agenda is to corrupt a government to the point where the country is “prostrate” and the assets can then be stripped.

He goes on to say that the plan was to take Russia down, and then China. This could fit with the 2030 Agenda, but would imply that Secret Societies are pulling the strings.

      The WEF predicts the following:
“3. US dominance is over. We have a handful of global powers. Nation states will have staged a comeback, writes Robert Muggah, Research Director at the Igarapé Institute. Instead of a single force, a handful of countries — the U.S., Russia, China, Germany, India and Japan chief among them — show semi-imperial tendencies. However, at the same time, the role of the state is threatened by trends including the rise of cities and the spread of online identities, …”

… with the implication that there is no dominant power.

Gonzalo Lira describes how (and why) Putin has fouled-up “Victoria Nuland’s” agenda.

I have been thinking in terms that China will be the center of the world, and basically get to impose their format for life on the world.

I recently read or heard comment that Putin (or Russia) is the dominant force among the BRICS.

I also hear that China is in bad shape economically, and in no position to be the dominant power.

      Some questions:

When Gonzalo Lira made the video, was the US in a position to dominate China? How about today?

Is the war between Secret Societies and those that support the UN 2030 Agenda against China and/or a group like BRICS? If so, do the players like Putin and Xi comprehend this? Are they basically in on it, like a war where Xi and his cohorts are against the Secret Societies?

Are people like Soros and Gates basically members of Secret Societies?

Is Gonzalo Lira description of “Victoria Nuland’s” agenda, to corrupt a government to the point where the country is “prostrate” and the assets can then be stripped, basically that which is happening in the US today?.

        Like this line of thinking.

We now seem to live is some type of anti-culture where, as JHK has described, “anything goes and nothing matters.”

It seems more and more probable that the cause of a potential upcoming national emergency will be a bigger war than the ones we are presently experiencing and it strikes me that war as an institution may now be most powerful dynamic of our present anti-culture.

War is the most transgressive of all social activities and in a society which believes in nothing, the excitement of large-scale murder is the type of subversive act which initially generates great excitement.

      Promote sexual deviance and degeneracy,
      Destroy the US militarily,
Seek the destruction of all human liberty and dignity,
      Promote genocide,
Rejoice in the US suffering two humiliating military defeats,
Welcoming the the invasion of millions of military-age men of
      unknown provenance into the country,
Handing out billions of dollars a year to said military-age invaders
and (in some cases) whole families of them, and sending the bill to US citizens,
Etc. (I know I forgot some stuff),

then you are pretty much certifiable. If your uncontrolled babblings are a cry for help in some sense, I suggest you seek another venue for that. Providing rehabilitation and nursing care for people who have something wrong with them is not in our line.

Universal income ie welfare checks for anyone not willing to work.
Allow illegal aliens to vote in elections which is already happening in New York, Neveda and California.

          • benr January 30, 2024 at 9:44 pm #

Once again, the dim wit misses the simple point.
They are so busy helping people who have not paid into the system, do not belong here and are only here to scam the system while people who were born here and have put into the system are ignored.

We have in San Diego county alone around 1200 people a month losing their homes and being forced to the streets because they can’t compete with people illegally here being given cards with $5,000 a month on them plus in most cases WIC and EBT.

          • Mike Sherman January 31, 2024 at 6:11 pm #

Hmm…I think I’ll move to San Diego County for the tax-free $60,000 a year! Wow!!!

Anyway, what the fuck are you talking about? CAPI?

“Fact Sheet: Immigrants and Public Benefits

Are undocumented immigrants eligible for federal public benefit programs?

Generally no. Undocumented immigrants, including DACA holders, are ineligible to receive most federal public benefits, including means-tested benefits such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, sometimes referred to as food stamps), regular Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

Undocumented immigrants are ineligible for health care subsidies under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and are prohibited from purchasing unsubsidized health coverage on ACA exchanges.
Undocumented immigrants may be eligible for a handful of benefits that are deemed necessary to protect life or guarantee safety in dire situations, such as emergency Medicaid, access to treatment in hospital emergency rooms, or access to healthcare and nutrition programs

So. Please provide proof of this free $5,000 per month to Illegal aliens. I’ll wait (and wait…and wait…)

        • Mike Sherman January 30, 2024 at 5:14 pm #

Once again, little benr jams his size 14 in his slack-jawed mouth:

“Under federal law, any alien who is not a “qualified” alien is ineligible for state and local public benefits. To be qualified one has to be here under asylum, admitted for permanent residence, or fit another limited federal category.

So, let’s clarify what you actually mean by “invaders” shall we? Do you mean ALL immigrants, or just those who aren’t white (like your South African buddies)?

Or do you mean asylum-seekers (which I’d lay odds most of your RSA buddies came in on)?

Or do you JUST mean the poor, the destitute, the ‘huddled masses’ risking everything to cross the Rio Grande? If you mean THOSE people (the ones who pick your vegetables for next to nothing), then please point me at the proof of these freebies you claim they get. I’ll wait.

Take note folks the Marxist scum is getting riled up.
One side says one thing and the other side says another.
Both sides lie but his side has been saying the border is not wide open and then tries to sue Texas for FINALLY doing something about it.

Finally, Republicans are making these marxist scum Democrats live up to their own hype and bullshit by rounding up unwanted illegal aliens and bussing them to sanctuary cities who quickly raised the white flag and screamed uncle almost immediately.

Guess what Majella you can fuck right off.

“Don’t Want the Democratic Party Trying to Run My Life”: Over Five Million Americans Flee the “Blue States”

According to economists, the United States is currently undergoing one of the largest mass migrations in its brief history. Over five million individuals have reportedly moved out of “blue states” like California in search of better opportunities in Texas or Florida.

Yep, Progressives run everything they touch.

LOL. *I’m* getting ‘riled up’? Haha…the one screaming in impotent rage right now is you, benr.

So…you claim 1.5% of Americans are running away from “blue” states? 1.5%?

As usual, you prove beyond any possibility of doubt that you have no idea what you’re talking about.

“In 2021-22, the overall migration rate stood at 8.7%—just modestly higher than the 2020-21 rate of 8.4%, which was the lowest domestic migration rate in three-quarters of a century.

From 20% in the late 1940s to this 8.6% 80 years later. Gee – that’s a lot of dissatisfaction, huh!

And despite the apparently shitty state of California, there’s still people moving there, benr:

“Over that span (2020-2022), 88,165 California residents moved to Florida, while 53,249 Florida residents moved to California—a net gain for Florida of about 35,000 Californians.“.

I guess the other 4,965,000 who moved from Blue to Red all went to…what? South Dakota?

Just keep on making shit up, benr. You feel way better when you hit “SUBMIT” but I bet it doesn’t last long.

Loser. When are you leaving your San Diego trailer park and moving to Louisiana?

Yeah, well, you’re so wrong on all those counts, Anthea.

Being a devotee of an insane cult yourself, Anthea, I guess you know of what you speak.

Your insane cult believes that those who don’t agree with you or worship Diaper Donny hold the above list to be ‘what everyone else thinks’. How fucking stupid. Yes, no doubt there are a few crazy left-wing radicals who might hold with your listed ‘sins’ but it would be a tiny minority.

This is quite unlike your insane cult which has metastasized into a truly deadly cancer. You can catch it by hanging around those who already have it – viz. Green Alba.

But your real problem, in whatever Buttfuck, Texas town you hail from, is that the disease is so widespread that, even if you don’t have it, you have to fake it – you have to fake agreement & support of the fucked-up thinking people get from the MAGAt disease, or you’re likely going to wind up lynched as a ‘lib/commie/fascist/pick-a-name’.

          • RUfuckinKidding? January 30, 2024 at 7:49 pm #

Yes…I try to keep out of the way of those in the crazy camp. You’re living proof that even an intelligent, educated, and articulate person can still fall victim to ‘conspiracy thinking’, which is really a great pity.

          • GreenAlba January 30, 2024 at 8:43 pm #

I like the definition of ‘conspiracy theory’ that Mark Crispin Miller quoted a few times: something that, if it were true, you couldn’t handle it.

Apt, I’d say, for normies like yourself. We just have to humour you, because you’re not ready.

          • RUfuckinKidding? January 30, 2024 at 9:17 pm #

An interesting definition: “if it were true” being the keywords in this strange thinking. I see your mentor in this case is a note conspiracy theorist:

“He has promoted conspiracy theories about U.S. presidential elections, the September 11 attacks and the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting as well as misinformation about COVID-19 and vaccines.”

Enough said, as far as I am concerned, though I need to mention that I find it disturbing that you would CHOOSE to be called a ‘Crazie’ and use the term ‘Normie’ as a pejorative.

          • GreenAlba January 30, 2024 at 9:27 pm #

            Be not disturbed, prithee.

“Enough said, as far as I am concerned […]”.

Like I said, we’ll help you when you’re ready. If you haven’t yet figured out that Wikipedia is a disinformation site, where everyone who rejects any official narrative is designated a ‘conspiracy theorist’, you’ve still a long way to go. No point in trying to take a person from A to Z when they haven’t even made if from A to B.

And I made no comment on YOUR choice to use the word ‘crazy’. Or indeed to misspell it.

I’m wondering if you’re ianw, given the similarity of approach.

          • RUfuckinKidding? January 31, 2024 at 9:13 pm #

“Crazies” & “Normies” (as spelt) were the distinctions between Trump’s two teams of advisers through the insurrection attempt (Nov 8 2020 to Jan 6 2021), so you can drop the faux spelling outrage.

I’ve been accused of several things, but being “ianw” isn’t one of them. Shall I assume he/it is the handle of a past poster?

Thanks for your offer to “help” me – it’s not often someone invites another to go fucking mad with them. It’s a lot like the Zombie Universe where one bite ‘infects’ you and you’re doomed to wander through a sort of half-life, eating brains.

Are you enjoying your half-life, Green Alba? Are you enjoying living under the ever-impending shadow of doom and despair, because everything is made up, no one can be believed, because there’s an unbelievably huge & complex plot, all designed especially to get YOU?

It’s just a tad melodramatic, don’t you think? I trust one day you’ll have an epiphany and figure out how badly misled you’ve allowed yourself to be.

When you do, I’ll be here to help you get your equilibrium back and you can once again see Night Owl for the narcissistic menace he is.

          • GreenAlba February 1, 2024 at 6:31 am #

            Outrage? Just correcting your ignorance.

And now I must correct your logic, because the meaning of ‘crazy/crazies’ is an entirely separate issue from its spelling, rendering your sentence nonsense, using as it does, that ‘so’, to logically connect two entirely disparate points.

“you would CHOOSE to be called a ‘Crazie’ (sic) […]”

Perhaps it wasn’t you who wrote that?

I don’t comment on Trump, so feel free to use the general meaning of normie, rather than one of its secondary applications:

“The term normie is a slang term that refers to a person whose tastes and opinions are influenced by mainstream culture and social standards. Normies are often seen as lacking originality and independent thinking, as they tend to follow popular trends and conform to societal norms.”

            Yeah, that.

“[…] all designed especially to get YOU?”

Why would anyone, including me, think there was a plan that would be aimed at getting ME (your caps) ‘especially’? That would be somewhat narcisstic, especially given that they’re aiming at you too.

I sent it to a bunch of Guardian hacks I periodically harangue.

        • SoftStarLight January 31, 2024 at 2:33 am #

It is an amazing speech. It made me think back about the mask and the symbolism behind the mask. I think it was certainly intended to be a sign of obedience to the narrative and to the government and its proxies, however, I do think there were more sinister designs behind it. Like the conscious and subconscious erasure of individuality brought about by hiding the face and the hive effect where all of these masked people form a collective anonymous mass, as just a few examples. Happy to hear that he was acquitted but it is wild that he was actually on trial for this in the first place.

          • Night Owl January 31, 2024 at 2:56 pm #

The masks were employed to do multiple things. They signaled conformity, made a political statement (odd lefty bug men here are still seen wearing them), and they made you sick.

The latter part is important because inducing actual sickness was critical during the hoax. We get sick when we are in a state of sustained anxiety (via fear, for example), and the mask ensured that lots of harmful bacteria were kept close to the orifices. Heightened O2 in the blood also wreaks havoc on the immune system and basic functions in our nervous system.

But I’ll answer yours, Paul, with a comment I posted here not too long ago:

‘State government, as a sociomaterial technology, is like giving a loaded gun to a baby.’…

…And then add that some babies, perhaps especially the ones who can’t handle loaded guns as well as other babies– maybe the ones that invent the bloody things– especially actively seek out that which they are less likely to invent or be able to handle…

Amerrymecca!!! (they said that at the office!)

I make Mecca to America, I make pilgrimage to the USofA! Hello America!!!

And!! Now! Am finally a citizen!!! (was illegal, but was so easy to become legal!)

And now I can repay and help native Americans get off the couch and internet, stop bombing our brothers and sisters overseas and destabilizing their (our and my) cultures and help them grow their own food and get agricultural. This is because America is running out fast of oil (and they are getting blocked from it too by enemies!) but they use the most energy of any country in the world!!

So this kinds immigration with me and my family in front is really just pre-emptive collapse before real collapse. that is what they say and I believe it! But i grow food all the time, no sweat.

America is a land of immigrants, together we can do anything! And have good life!!

I learn this at home (is so great!!)…

    We Are The World:

There comes a time when we heed a certain call
When the world must come together as one
    There are people dying
Oh, and it’s time to lend a hand to life
    The greatest gift of all

We can’t go on pretending day by day
That someone, somewhere will soon make a change
We are all a part of God’s great big family
    And the truth, you know
    Love is all we need

We are the world, we are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
    So let’s start giving
    There’s a choice we’re making
    We’re saving our own lives
    It’s true, we’ll make a better day
    Just you and me

Well, send them your heart so they’ll know that someone cares
And their lives will be stronger and free
As God has shown us by turning stone to bread
And so we all must lend a helping hand

We are the world, we are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
    So let’s start giving

When you’re down and out, and there seems no hope at all
But if you just believe, there’s no way we can fall
    Well, well, well
Let us realize, oh, that a change can only come
When we stand together as one (Yeah yeah yeah yeah!)

We are the world, we are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
    So let’s start giving

Welcome to our country. And wow you already are aware of the energy crisis and are making a proactive difference in your area and space. That is really neat and awesome. I grew tomatoes successfully one time lol but having a big garden is a lot of work. I don’t really use a whole lot of energy though so my carbon footprint is tiny so that helps in a way.

      • Jarek January 30, 2024 at 12:45 pm #

lol, well I think sweet cherry tomatoes are something. They kick up a plain ole salad to the next level so.

          • Anthea February 1, 2024 at 10:57 am #

People have forgotten what a tomato is supposed to taste like. Every time I give away my garden tomatoes to a friend, they are blown away by the flavor. Grocery store tomatoes are inedible. During the winter, I’d rather do without than try to pretend that the crap from the grocery store is a tomato.

I think that dying your hair is probably super bad for your health. So they make actually a critical point if you think about. At a time where we are being exposed to a constant stream of manufactured information from psychological death star servers, our water, air and food are laced with poisons, deadly nanoparticles and metals are being sprayed on us, and gene altering self replicating hydras are being injected into us – it’s probably a good thing you aren’t dying your hair lol.

      is it dyeing..

      • SoftStarLight January 30, 2024 at 4:02 pm #

yep ding ding ding lol. I haven’t dyed my hair in ages. My favorites were platinum and black. I was never big into the non-naturals. Though raspberry and copper highlights are amazing accents. Especially on an official ghd.

          @ SoftStarLight:

Remember the Clairol no-peroxide toners? Back in the 70s, the drugstore across the street from me carried about thirty shades of toners. The color mostly washed out after a couple of weeks, so–if you wanted–you could choose a new hair color every two weeks.

My favorite was a blonde shade with just a hint of pink, called Baby Blush.

Yeah, in Cali border patrol agents hand out donuts and coffee, hotel vouchers and pre-loaded debit cards.

But I hear they are only hiring illegals for those jobs…

          • benr January 30, 2024 at 7:25 pm #

    • BackRowHeckler January 30, 2024 at 6:32 am #

It’s a little late to be hiring more Border Patrol Agents, isn’t it? It seems at this point anyone who wanted to break into the country has already done so. Besides from what I can see it appears the Mayorkas’ US Border Patrol is nothing more than a Welcoming Committee whose mission it is to ensure that saintly “Migrants” safely cross the border when they arrive, and provide anything they might need I.e. cell phones, EBT cards, voter registration, DL applications, plane tickets etc. to start a successful life in the USA.

      • TruthSeeker1986 January 30, 2024 at 7:06 am #

If that’s how your going to counter my response, then I could say the exact same for Texas putting up a fence or a wall. What’s the point in doing that if there are already millions of these assholes residing here already? Serious leaders would deport them all back. Even Ecuador is planning to do this with all the El Salvadorans. And they already kicked out a lot of Venezuelans. Maybe America is the only country along with Western Europe has no intent on removing the invaders.

        • BackRowHeckler January 30, 2024 at 8:54 am #

No I agree with you’re saying TS my point is that the Border Patrol under Mayorkas/Biden has been neutered and the damage has already been done. No country in the world can survive millions of foreign, poverty stricken people suddenly showing up within its borders. These events, along the deliberate dismantling of the energy grid by climate Change Cranks, are the main sources of the political instability we are experiencing right now.

          • TruthSeeker1986 January 30, 2024 at 9:06 am #

Yeah, you’re right they invaded without even using weapons to do it. When I read about invasions throughout history, they often involved people invading by force of entry with weapons. We have been silently invaded, but still this is Biden’s fault but it’s also idiotic Leftist who pull the SJW card out of their ass and call everything “racist.” When people clearly don’t want all these people flooding in like that. And now you have some of the dipshit leftist running on youtube complaining about how hard their own lives are after they’ve sat up there advocated for open borders. And with some people you get the same tired excuses “they are there to take the jobs nobody wants.” You have no idea how many times I’ve heard people say this in arguments.

First one must secure the border.’
Second one must give all these illegal aliens a reason to leave.
Many that have come have already realized the free ride is not as cushy as they had been told.
Next comes the fines for companies that hire them.
The federal government should be sued for supporting them and any state that is also aiding them in breaking the law by staying here illegally.

        • The Man They Call Zazelle January 30, 2024 at 9:15 am #

benr, in a country in the midst of energy depletion, geopolitical energy snafus, social degradation and decline and sociopolitical instability and uncertainty, etcetera, I have my doubts about what you just wrote and suspect that the millions are more or less here to stay. Maybe some will enter Canada up here until they feel like they’ve found a better life while everyone’s evens out to the kinds of lives others had been living in the shadow that was the fat cat, America.

        • TruthSeeker1986 January 30, 2024 at 9:21 am #

The only way to give them a reason to leave is to make them realize there’s nothing here for them to be here in the first place. In every country experiencing this problem, it’s mostly war aged men…Now why are all these war aged men here and entering Europe for? Easy access to the vast number of far left females who hate being white and will do whatever it takes to make their own ethnicity a minority in their own country?

I wonder how would these same women react if the open borders was 98% young females instead of war aged men pouring in by the millions. I bet then you’d have less Far left women advocating for open borders knowing a tide of women from foreign lands are about to enter their country.

Someone even said Merkel did it because she was trying to actually get the men to breed with German women…I don’t know if this was false or not. But I remember someone telling me they suspected she was encouraging it and she was the one that started the invasion trend in Europe in 2016, then all the other Western European countries followed by her example. Especially the ones with women leadership like Italy, Sweden, etc.

Yes soon I’ll be like you thinking all of them are virtuous geniuses – like Mary!

          • Night Owl January 31, 2024 at 3:00 pm #

You have no idea how right you are. Much of the advertising of late primarily contains black men with white women.

Occasionally they toss in the odd Asian or Middle Easterner in the pic, but the focus is almost always on that combo.

I tend to find it funny, as in the long run, nature always wins out. Most people don’t want mixed kids. There is nothing wrong with it, ofc, but most of us instictively want to be with our own. We see this play out throughout the animal kingdom.

That is always the best part about these types of forced cultural revolutions.

            Nature never loses.

          • Ron Anselmo February 1, 2024 at 5:20 pm #

Janos – you know full well, my genius comment about Mary was a little bit of a drag, patronizing, but also a little bit supportive.

You were so hard on her; she may have been typing from the ledge at her Boise house and I didn’t want her to jump. Especially since it was probably single-story, and she’d only hurt herself.

She was smart and had some good points to contribute, which I did appreciate. *On balance*, she did sometimes react based upon emotion, as *some* women do.

*Some* women are virtuous geniuses, just not *all* of them. Recognize the ones who are. Don’t be so absolute all the time. That’s all for today.

(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love And Understanding

        Starts at 33:00.

As I walk through this wicked world
Searchin’ for light in the darkness of insanity
I ask myself, “Is all hope lost?
Is there only pain and hatred and misery?”

And each time I feel like this inside
There’s one thing I wanna know
What’s so funny ’bout peace, love and understanding? Oh-oh
What’s so funny ’bout peace, love and understanding?

And as I walk on through troubled times
My spirit gets so downhearted sometimes
So where are the strong, and who are the trusted?
And where is the harmony, sweet harmony?

‘Cause each time I feel it slippin’ away, just makes me wanna cry
What’s so funny ’bout peace, love and understanding? Oh-oh
What’s so funny ’bout peace, love and understanding?
So where are the strong, and who are the trusted?

And where is the harmony, sweet harmony?
‘Cause each time I feel it slippin’ away
        Just makes me wanna cry
What’s so funny ’bout peace, love and understanding? Oh-oh
What’s so funny ’bout peace, love and understanding? Oh-oh
What’s so funny ’bout peace, love and understanding?

        • Blackbird January 30, 2024 at 6:34 pm #

What’s so funny ’bout peace, love and understanding is that those who are most vocal in pretending to promote it, really don’t believe in it. John and Yoko anyone?

Peace, love and understanding throws the borders open.

Peace, love and understanding turns its back when cities are torched in mostly peaceful celebration of the criminal life of the latest POS martyr.

Peace, love and understanding tells us to hate ourselves for not having enough… peace, love and understanding.

          • Jarek January 30, 2024 at 7:14 pm #

Yes. Can’t do a little but you can’t do enough.

Everything we have is because of the Conquest. They want to blame us for this even as they keep what by the ideology says are ill gotten gains.

Thus such Peace is War. Such Love is Hate. And such Understanding is Ignorance.

            Ecclesiastes 3 ?
            King James Bible
To Everything There is a Season

1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

            2A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

            3A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

            4A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

            5A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

            6A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

            7A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Jarek: This is better, is it not? We’re always told to love and work on loving. But it is a time for hate and we have to work on hating.

Truth be told, the two go together. If you love someone, you may well end up hating them if they betray you. They can hurt you far more than someone you never felt anything for.

Above love/hate there is Love, the Love of God. If you want to get into this, then you need to renounce the world, at least to some extend. Because down here, hate is just a necessary as love or even Love. A hard truth but a truth nonetheless.

The very first and most necessary condition for establishing a state sytem of government–where you have a ruling class and landless, dependent class–is expropriation from the land. (This is per Albert Jay Nock and Henry George.)

A couple of years ago, I was chatting with a young black woman from Africa. She had recently watched a documentary about the Amish and was terribly shocked that they didn’t use cars or electricity or indoor plumbing, and had no TVs–among other things. I had the feeling she thought they should be forcibly re-educated into modern ways.

My response was, “They don’t believe in those things.” Later on, I realized that what I should have said was, “They’re prosperous and I’m not.” (And neither was she, as far as that goes.)

Another thing Nock said is that there’s no such thing as a “labor problem.” People will work whenever and wherever they are not actually prevented from working. One of the chief ways in which they are prevented from working is by shutting off their access to land (“land” in the economic sense). I.e., the requirements for producing wealth are land, labor, and capital. If you have land and you can work, you can get capital, which is the surplus produced by your labor, over and above your needs.

My point is, what a lot of them (about half) should be doing is running small family farms. The rest of them should be either tradesmen or small businessmen. While these latter are not usually outright forbidden, government does it’s best to make such occupations extremely difficult to pursue.

So I think that if a majority of people went “back to the land,” they’d find plenty to do. And they’d discover that no one needs any of the jobs OG listed–along with many more.

        • BackRowHeckler January 30, 2024 at 3:56 pm #

“the requirements for producing wealth are land, labor & capital”-Anthea

That’s the old way of thinking, Anthea. In my State, which within living memory was an industrial & innovate powerhouse & provided dairy products for the whole northeast, they have have updated the requirements for producing wealth. Weed shops, gambling casinos, needle exchange centers, abortion clinics, public housing projects, expanded welfare payments, food stamps, EBT cards, lawyers suing everybody & anybody, disability claims, public sector union jobs which pay pensions up to $250,000 per year & School Diversity Coordinater positions that pay $150 grand a year … that’s where the real wealth comes from. Who needs land & labor? Capital, yes, but that comes from the government in DC & Hartford.

          • Anthea January 31, 2024 at 11:09 am #

            @ BackRowHeckler:

I think that what I was partly hinting at is that most of us find ourselves “boxed in,” with no escape from this highly centralized and tyrannical system–and that, in its essence, it is an economic prison of enforced dependency. Economic independence is made very difficult, and would require much sacrifice.

I tend to think that the Amish (and related groups) have judged rightly. It seems to me that their social/cultural/economic strictures are aimed squarely at avoiding economic dependency.

Probably the most important key to this is land, though I think there may be some other avenues. Or maybe community is the most important key. Going it alone is probably not a viable option, long term. Or maybe it’s having a firm and deeply rooted system of religous beliefs and values–and being will to make sacrifies for them.

        • messianicdruid January 30, 2024 at 5:59 pm #

“So I think that if a majority of people went “back to the land, they’d find plenty to do.”

          I found this somewhere:

“Malthus was worried about population growth and the (presumed) inability of the agricultural sector to feed the increased population. Thus, he predicted an overpopulation catastrophe.

Even today, many people are still infected with this strange mind virus. The so-called “World Economic Forum” in Davos appears captured by it, which is no surprise because the intellectual firepower on display there each year is sub-standard, to say the least. A version of it involves the conviction that we will (somehow) run out of energy and, thus, be unable to feed the eight billion people who now live on Planet Earth.

Malthus accurately observed that an increase in a nation’s food production would inevitably lead to population growth. However, he then made the false assumption that population growth would eventually outpace the growth of food production, leading to famine, warfare and disease.

He could not see the importance of innovation. He could not see that new forms of energy would be found. He could not see that further innovation would lead to rapid improvements in the use of energy. He could not see that the number of farm labourers would collapse as innovative machines increased the productivity of each farm worker. He completely missed the contribution that would come from the world of mechanical engineering and energy discovery.”

          Here we go again.

Technology delays the hour of reckoning. Are you conflating that with eliminating it, O brief child of the hour?

You yourself say that it eliminates jobs – and you put that in with the benefits! The longer the reckoning is delayed, the further we will have to climb back from. The worse the soil being one of the main results of high tech farming.

Being a tiresome old person, one of the things that I continually point out when I’m in the car with my daughter, and we’re driving into town from out ex-urban location, is the endless hundreds or thousands of acres of unused land–and worse, the thousands of acres devoted to government-subsidized row crops, mainly corn (often corn for ethanol) and soybeans. Now imagine there are no government ag subsidies. These corporate farms would immediately go bankrupt and be replaced by small family farms or small acreages.

If that happened, imagine the change in the landscape! Five or ten acres, here in Missouri, can produce a staggering amount of food. Every family farm could produce a staggering abundance of vegetables, fruit, nuts, berries, meat (chicken, beef, goat meat, mutton, and pork), eggs, dairy products, and honey. All of it could easily be non-GMO, organic, highly nutritious and healthy. The productivity would probably be increased by tenfold, compared to what we have now.

The only things that prevent this are government subsidies and regulations.

You’d still need growers of grains and animal feed (like corn, soybeans, and hay). I’m not sure, but I think that a lot of corn (besides being grown for ethanol) and soybeans are grown for export, so we probably don’t need to grow nearly as much as we do. If it’s grown as a balance-of-trade issue, we could find something else to export, rather than exporting our biomass. Like, we could manufacture stuff.

“People will work whenever and wherever they are not actually prevented from working.”

Exactly. I always hear that we need to import third worlders to “do the jobs Americans are too proud/lazy/stupid to do”. Well, when you push wages so low, and living costs so high, (partly through importing hordes of third worlders) that a family can’t be supported, what’s the point of going to work, especially if the government is willing to pay you to do nothing? Americans will work if we would just quit crowding them out of the work place.

Small family farms, that is the direction we should go if we want a sustainable future. Not just for full employment, but also for a more sensible balance of trade and a healthy food supply. But that is not what our overlords want. They want us impoverished, starving, and dependent upon them. So that is what we will get.

Too many [ beneficial ] parasites.

          • Anthea January 31, 2024 at 11:55 am #

            @ Blackbird:

Yes, I think the return to the small family farm is the solution to the dependency on “the blob.” Small family farms could be, not just viable, but prosperous (and without the need to turn Amish), if the government did not prevent this.

But the prospects for getting the government out of agriculture are probaby about the same as for getting the government out of education, medicine, and small business. Our government can’t be reformed. Secession is a possible solution, but I’m not sure we have enough honest and honorable leadership at the state level.

          • Anthea January 31, 2024 at 12:06 pm #

            @ messianic druid:

Yes, any reform–even some tiny reform–of our present system would be (and is) fought tooth and nail by a whole range of parasite classes. I often think that secession would ignite a civil war within the seceding state–as the welfare class, among which I would include all government employees/retirees, screamed bloody murder.

My suggestion would be to give them 40 acres and a mule–or, alternatively, to tell them to move somewhere else.

I don’t think you could pull of a highly successful secession, economically, without land reform. Where to get the land to give to the people? Well, I think most of all of Big Ag would go bankrupt and sell the land cheap–though I personally think that some of them should be put on trial for poisoning people, executed, and asset-stripped, anyway. But also, my state (Missouri) has huge areas of state or federally owned land. I don’t know if there’s enough to go around, but there might be.

          • gustafson.robert.22 January 31, 2024 at 12:12 pm #

Not sure where Anthea’s getting all these acres, and neither is she.

@An thea -In simply exploring options sureness is a goal, not a reason to hamper the search.

          • Anthea February 1, 2024 at 10:43 am #

            @ gustafson:

I suppose that providing approximately 50% of US families with at least a small acreage is a formidable problem, though I think the main difficulty is that such a policy is diametrically opposed to the existence of the state. As Nock has observed, the very first article of business in the establishment of any state system is expropriation from the land, thus creating a “landless dependent class” that exists only at the pleasure of the state.

So maybe this is no more likely to happen than your proposed return to hunter-gatherer lifestyles.

In any case, many people do manage to acquire small acreages. I’m surrounded by such people–though most of them are too busy working to give much attention to self-sufficiency. By the looks of things, most of them don’t want to, since you see a lot of lovely vistas surrounding a pond or man-made lake, occupied by a couple of horses. It makes for a pleasing view–which one senses is the whole idea.

On the other hand, a minority of my rural neighbors are engaged in some kind of agricultural production. The people next door to me have chickens, pigs, goats, and cows. The people across the street had some idea about growing lavender commercially, but I don’t think the soil here is suitable for that. We grow a big garden, and my daughter has chickens and goats, and hogs some years. Various other people around the area have various livestock, including sheep. There’s an artisan cheesemaker with a herd of dairy goats. There are quite a few orchards in the county to the north. My daughter buys raw milk and eggs (as their chickens have mostly stopped laying for the winter) from a nearby Amish farmer. There are several market gardeners in the area. I haven’t been to the rural farmers’ markets for a few years, but there were often often Amish ladies (or some similar sect) selling baked goods. We have a growing population of Amish/Mennonites around here–and in Missouri generally.

I think the growing population of Amish/Mennonites is proof that the ownership of farmland, and even of a full-fledged farm (80-120 acres) is do-able–if you really want to do it. But I don’t think our urban hordes want to do it, so there’s that.

Why, yes. Can’t you make those emos any bigger?

Which do you like better, cooking or cleaning?

          • SoftStarLight January 31, 2024 at 2:17 pm #

You know it’s weird but I think the emos are regulated by the format of the page here. So like there are only a limited set of emos you can use and they all do kinda tend to appear smaller. I’ll try to see if I can find code for bigger ones though lol.

Um, I would say I like cooking better because its so creative and plus I love when stuff turns out really good. Cleaning though can sometimes be relaxing believe it or not. Because you don’t need to think about anything like you just know what needs to be done and also it is nice to see the results and you feel like you really did accomplish something.

I guess you are slightly more sophisticated than people who define themselves based on their dislike of broccoli, their minor ailments, or their irritability about road noises. But, like you, such people view individuality as a mere affectation.

The original wedding vows, as printed in The Book of Common Prayer, are:

Groom: I,____, take thee,_____, to be my wedded Wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God’s holy ordinance; and thereto I plight thee my troth.

Bride: I,_____, take thee,_____, to be my wedded Husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love, cherish, and to obey, till death us do part, according to God’s holy ordinance; and thereto I give thee my troth.

Then, as the groom places the ring on the bride’s finger, he says the following:

With this Ring I thee wed, with my body I thee worship, and with all my worldly goods I thee endow: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

Jarek: How many women promise to obey but have no intention of doing so! They take the last part seriously though – the part about the husband giving them everything he has. They’ll make him do so with divorce in any case.

          • Anthea February 1, 2024 at 5:28 pm #

            @ Jarek:

I don’t think you have anything to worry about. You appear to have rarely or never have been employed and thus have no assets, unless you have inherited something. Or maybe you are just hoping to inherit something. (This seldom works out as expected.)

Your beefing makes about as much sense as some guy down at the rescue mission complaining that all the women down at the rescue mission are gold diggers, who are angling to get his tarp.

They’ll try to make it sound like it’s something beneficial first, and then con/trick a vast majority of people into going along with it. And guaranteed it’s going to start with all the Western nations first. We’ll see some people refuse to go along with it, but guaranteed they are going to manipulate a lot of people into accepting this. I don’t understand why these billionaires are so obsessed with all this crazy ass sci fi shit. Back when I was a kid growing up, sure I thought a lot of it was cool because of stuff like Total Recall, Blade Runner, The Matrix, etc. But as I got older I’ve come to the realization that the last thing I want is for assholes like Musk and WEF chipping me with devices so they can control me like I’m some kind of goddamn Machine coming off the assembly line.

MSNBC host Joy Reid apologized after she was caught on a hot mic dropping an F-bomb during what she said was meant to be “behind-the-scenes-chatter.”

On Monday, on her program, Reid was discussing the way in which Republicans have been reacting to a bipartisan border agreement that former President Donald Trump has expressed opposition to.

However, When Reid shared a video of President Joe Biden discussing border legislation in South Carolina, she made a slip-up and let her true opinions be known.

“If that bill were the law today, I’d shut down the border right now and fix it quickly… And Congress needs to get it done,” Biden said in the clip.

As Biden spoke, Reid could be heard laughing and saying, “–Starting another f**king war,” before the audio on her microphone was quickly cut.

Her family were quite racist against whites, and I remember discovering that her sisters and mother all used whitening cream and her brothers were regularly dying their hair blond.

      • Anthea February 1, 2024 at 6:00 pm #

        @ Night Owl:

Skin “brightening” preparations are ubiquitous among Asians. They seem to be considered one of the essentials of skincare. What was interesting to me is that, with persistence, they really work. I think the most commonly used skin-lightening substance is shiitake mushrooms, which also have some other skin benefits. You can easily make one of these preparations at home by purchasing dried shiitake mushrooms, powdering them in a blender and mixing with glycerin. After the mushrooms have infused for a few weeks, you can strain this combination through coffee filters to get a clear shiitake mushroom gylcerite that will seriously bleach out your skin.

I tried this one summer, because of the other skin benefits. After about a month, I looked like a ghost. I’m pretty fair-skinned to begin with, and I didn’t expect the “brightening” effect, so I stopped using it.

Our great-great-grandmothers of yore used elderflowers, in the form of elderflower water. I have never tried that, but it was considered an essential for milady’s dressing table, back when pale skin was valued and considered aristocratic (proof you didn’t work in the fields).

These herbal extracts and their uses are quite fascinating–and have become popular cosmetic additives. Nowadays the extracts are made with propanediol. The ease of preparation makes me want to buy some propanediol and make extracts of my yard weeds.

        • Night Owl February 2, 2024 at 7:38 am #

Yes, I saw these products everywhere when in Thailand and Nepal.

My comment has little to do with any beneficial ingredients, however. White skin, for whatever reason, is highly desirable in many Asian countries.

Lessons From the Great Covid Cover-Up.

Imprimis A publication of Hillsdale Colllege

    December 2023

Adapted from a talk delivered on November 1, 2023.

    Rand Paul

“The Covid cover-up began in China. No one should be surprised that a totalitarian government run by the Chinese Communist Party would seek to cover up its responsibility for a worldwide pandemic. What was mind-jarring-and what we should focus our attention on-is the cover-up in our own country spearheaded by Dr. Anthony Fauci and his fellow health bureaucrats. And they might have gotten away with their deception if a federal judge hadn’t ordered their e-mails released.

In brief, these e-mails reveal that at the same time Dr. Fauci and other public health “experts” were publicly disavowing the idea that the Covid virus originated with a leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China, they were in general agreement among themselves that that was likely what had happened. So why hide the fact?”

    A few highlights

“They knew of a paper by Ralph Baric and Shi Zhengli describing gain-of-function research-which involves taking two viruses and combining their genetics to create something more dangerous, more lethal or more contagious-on various coronaviruses at the Wuhan Lab.”

Paul goes on and on to describe the evil conspiracies that ran through all levels of the government, the WH and Congress to cover-up the Wuhan escape. Ready to get pissed and feel validated, read the whole thing.

    • BULLITT January 31, 2024 at 3:20 pm #

The worthless people we have in Congress allowed this to happen just to get a few bucks from big PHARMA to protect their jobs. They lied to us and continue to cover up one of the greatest travesties we have experienced in our lives. There should be investigations and trials.
If a few of these people would hang or be shot, this crap would stop!

Just like they allowed the border to stay open. Treasonous acts aren’t punishable when a nation is owned by a bunch of assholes who are far above the law than anyone who wasn’t above the law such as us ordinary citizens. If any one of us went out and did some shit like this against humanity we would go to prison for life or given the death penalty.

It started at $250m, now bounced to $370m – at what point will OrangeMan admit he’s outta his depth and go for bankruptcy again? When all his judgments add up to north of a billion?

I heard that he may well change the signage on “Trump Tower” to “E. Jean Carroll Tower”.

Leasons from the great second – hand smoke BS.

Second – hand smoke — from people banished to the great outdoors already anyway — is some kind of threat to your health.

But the 500+ automobiles chugging by your front door less than 25 yards away every day are no problem.

I like to point out that I have been putting up with this Covid bullshit for 30 years.

” Covid ” ; except the song and dance was just labelled a little diferently.

And putting up with it from not primarily two – percenters or politicians ,

( Who hangs out with those assholes any appreciable amount of time anyway ? )

but primarily from sadistic , control freak , puritanical Average Joe’s who claim to value liberty and human rights ,

but in fact seem to begrudge their neighbor even the most meager license or privilege.

My reading of the history of the thing is that First Century Christians commonly interpreted Revelations as applying currently , to their own time , and the end was , literally , nigh.

    Then 1,500 years passed.

Then some asshole 500 years ago got the bright idea to pass out a book that is very complicated , and quite opaque , to all and sundry.

And ever since then , for 500 years ,

        • Night Owl February 1, 2024 at 10:52 am #

It has to do with the WEF policies being carried out to destroy farming in Europe and accellerate the creation of WEF food hubs, which will supply largely lab-developed and genetically modified foods in place of natural food.

Here in Germany the WEF-led Green party and SPD are trying to outlaw private vegetable gardens, as well.

“To turn the world into a dependency on staples has nothing to do with feeding the world, it has a lot to do with controlling the food supply. The United States evolved a phrase during the Vietnam war, and the phrase was; ‘Food as a weapon’; the use of food as the ultimate weapon of control. And the tragedy is, the growth of agribusiness in the US has gone hand-in-hand with the US foreign policy to deliberately create hunger locally in order to make the world dependent on food supplies, through which you can then control countries and their decision-making ability. So hunger has become an instrument of war.” ~ Vandana Shiva

          • Night Owl February 1, 2024 at 4:30 pm #

It is far worse than just some GMO products.

There are to be a handful of regional WEF-controlled food hubs where all food is distributed.

Nothing will be allowed to be grown or raised and slaughtered privately. Food will be largely non-natural and only available to those who comply with social credit scores and the medical tyranny unleashed during the Covid hoax.

Joe Biden regime planning to go to East Palestine Ohio and it has only been a year since the derailment and disaster.
The optics in this can’t get worse.
This has to be the most tone deaf Administration in US history.
One resident expressed extreme disappointment in how Biden handled…well everything should be the text.

President Joe Biden is finally set to visit the East Palestine, Ohio, area that was tragically impacted by a toxic train derailment nearly one year ago.

The White House recently announced that Biden will purportedly travel next month to East Palestine, Ohio, to mark the one-year anniversary of the catastrophic train derailment and toxic chemicals that were spilled in the region.

The visit, as announced by the White House, did not include a specific date when Biden will visit.

The tragedy in East Palestine occurred on February 3rd, 2023, in which a Norfolk Southern train carrying hazardous materials derailed and caught fire. The fire spread over several days, releasing toxic fumes, oil, and forcing locals to flee their homes with their pets. It also prompted people in the area to worry about the long-term health and economic impacts of the derailment.

Biden is allegedly visiting East Palestine after an invitation from the mayor of East Palestine had requested him to travel to the site and “observe firsthand’ the progress being made in recovering from the toxic chemical spill and clean up.

Mayor Trent Conaway (R-Ohio), a critic of Biden, announced on Wednesday that he invited the current president to the site since he feels that the visit will better benefit the community.

“I’m as red as they come. I’m as conservative as they come. Sometimes I have to do what’s best for the people so, yes, that’s why I invited him,” Conaway stated in an interview with The Associated Press.

Additionally, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made a statement regarding Biden’s upcoming visit to the area, mentioning that he will be traveling there “in February.”

“He’s looking forward to going to the East Palestine team in February. We’re going to find the day that works best for the folks on the ground,” Jean-Pierre explained to reporters during Wednesday’s meeting. “He’s always said that, when the time was right, when it was the most helpful for him to be there, he was going to be there.”

“It doesn’t matter if it’s in a rural area, urban area, suburban area, red state, blue state, the president has always been there to…assist and be there for the community,” Jean-Pierre added. “So, when it is helpful, he certainly will do that.”

Biden has encountered continuous criticism from Republicans for not traveling to East Palestine sooner.

As time passed and people witnessed Biden travel to the scenes of other tragedies, many locals of East Palestine also asserted that they had “felt forgotten,” regarding the train derailment tragedy.

Joe Bethuy, an East Palestine resident and steelworker, expressed extreme disappointment in the way that the Biden administration handled the derailment and the president’s postponed visit. Bethuy expressed to Associated Press reporters that Biden only needed to “show up just for an hour or something.”

“I don’t know what the point is really,” Smith said regarding Biden’s visit. “It’s kind of a year late.”

The National Transportation Safety Board concluded that “attempts to halt the train by crew members following their discovery of an overheated wheel bearing” led to the derailment.

According to Norfolk Southern, cleanup and recovery expenses along the Ohio–Pennsylvania border are expected to exceed $1.1 billion.

Despite media onslaught and constant negative press, lies, phony lawsuits, fake dossiers, dirty tricks, and women looking for paydays with court cases somehow Trump is way ahead in the polls.

In a hypothetical 2020 rematch in the race to the White House, 45th President Donald J. Trump is a demolishing force against President Joe Biden.

According to a poll from The Morning Consult, Trump leads Biden in “every single swing state.”

The swing states this presidential election cycle are North Carolina, Nevada, Georgia, Wisconsin, Arizona, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Trump has his highest lead against Biden in North Carolina. He is currently winning 49% to 39%.

The Republican is also leading in Nevada 28% to 40%, in Georgia 49% to 41%, in Wisconsin 29% to 44%, and in Michigan 47% to 42%.

The states with the tightest race are in Arizona and in Pennsylvania. Trump has a slight 48% to 45% lead on Biden in the Keystone State. Meanwhile, in Arizona, Trump is leading 47% to 44%.

The poll was conducted from January 16th to January 22nd.

Both Trump and Biden are the front-runners in their respected political parties and are expecting to be the eventual nominees.

I don’t think Biden will be able to run from the basement this time around if he actually runs at all.

    • TruthSeeker1986 February 1, 2024 at 10:14 am #

I don’t understand who the hell would want Biden again, people are stupid as hell. But I know there are people who will vote for him due to the fact they strongly hate the hell out of Trump. I’m not a Trump fan either, but if I had a gun to my head and was forced to choose I’d have no choice but to go with Trump. But since I do have a choice, I won’t vote for either of them because I don’t trust anyone who’s allegiance is to Israel.

      • beantownbill. February 1, 2024 at 12:58 pm #

Well, I’m disappointed as hell. I thought you would vote for me, even though I am a supporter of Israel, notwithstanding I am a Jew who lost relatives in the so-called Holocaust and never met them. But, wtf does that have to do with running the country? I mean, so a few Jews disappeared somewhere and have been hiding out there.

I wonder though, how many “hidden” votes the Deep State has waiting for what is required to defeat Trump, like 2020. How many document mills have generated state ID cards, SSA numbers, voter registrations for our newest “citizens” from everywhere?

One simple question, what is to prevent the large scale harvesting of large blocks of unchallenged ballots from supposed mail in entries. How many ballots, for “expediency” are never looked at for credibility? Worse, how many unsigned or bogus ballots are never challenged or worse, are created to cheat with.

We do not know the answers to any of these questions, no real changes have been made to detect phony ballots, mail in ballots are still all the rage, so expect the same BS election in 2024 as 2020.

The only way to really choose a legitimate candidate is to win by at least 5% as close elections just gather cheaters. Our election systems are unable to tell the difference when less than that. Remember polls saying that results are +/- 3-5%. How can elections be much better?

    • beantownbill. February 1, 2024 at 1:12 pm #

      @ benr:

I rather hope that poll is accurate. The latest Quinnapiac (sp?) poll has ‘Biden’ beating Trump by 3 points. I believe polls are just another tool to bamboozle the public. The only good thing is that this election crap will be over in 10 months – assuming the election even takes place, or the opposition doesn’t go to court for voter fraud, or the people don’t cause unrest, or someone doesn’t die inopportunely.

      • JimInFlorida2.0 February 1, 2024 at 4:57 pm #

I found the poll in question.
Some of the questions were clearly aimed at women and had that touchy-feely vibe.

I’d like to know the distribution of who got polled, where, and what time. Not everybody is at home during the day.

For those aware of the Christchurch shootings in NZ, reknowned podcaster Jeremy Nell of Jerm Warfare interviews Max Igan on the shooter’s own video containing hard evidence that the event did not occur as we were told, and that in fact appears to have potentially been carried out by the government

Lots of eyeballs on this story right now, as the NZ government has demanded that JW remove the episode from his program. JW has refused.

Also interesting is that the Borg is trying to tie European activist Martin Sellner to the shooter in a further attempt to ban anti-WEF/globalist parties such as the AFD here in Germany as they continue to gain traction.

The other day, I got a pack of crumpets at 50% off because they were coming up on their best before date. But what I do with crumpets anyway is I store them in the freezer anyway.

How I like to prepare them is to butter them frozen and stick them in the toaster oven on broil until they are golden and the butter has all melted into them.

Then I eat them like toast, except that, after every bite, I sip a little bit of heated up 100% pure maple syrup from a tiny side-bowl. Of course I have a cold glass of milk with them too.
