The NFAC warriors on the march, led by Grand Master Jay.

On our way to becoming a nation of hobos, the Democratic Party’s Antifa shock troops brought out the lethal weapons this weekend, hoping to provoke a Kent State 2.0 type bloodbath that would clinch the election for the mummified remains of Joe Biden, currently reposing in his basement sepulcher. How’d that work out?

In Louisville, Saturday, just after lunchtime, the self-styled Not Fucking Around Coalition (NFAC) was mustering for action and “inspecting firearms” (according to NFAC comandante Grand Master Jay) when one of said weapons accidently discharged and mowed down three NFAC warriors — nicely demonstrating the hazards of fucking around with loaded weapons.

In Austin Saturday night, one feckless BLM mob marcher name of Garrett Foster brought his AK-47 to the street party. When he pointed it at a motorist trapped by the crowd, he got blown away to that great struggle session in the sky, the surprise of his life, I’m sure.

In Portland, OR, police found a bag of loaded rifle magazines and Molotov cocktails in the nearby park that serves as the rioters’ marshaling yard. Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler did not attend the evening’s frolics at the sore beset federal courthouse, having successfully subjected himself to ritual humiliation himself a few nights earlier. After midnight Sunday, police declared the Antifa actions “a riot” and made a few arrests.

Up Seattle way, a federal judge struck down the city council’s order against police using tear gas and pepper spray on rioters just in time for another weekend of rioting. SPD Chief Carmen Best declared, “In the spirit of offering trust and full transparency, I want to advise you that SPD officers will be carrying pepper spray and blast balls today, as would be typical for events that carry potential to include violence.” Hours later, after Antifas smashed the windows of ground-floor businesses, set fire to a construction site, and trashed the SPD’s East Precinct building, pepper spray and blast balls were deployed and forty-five of the mob were arrested (on rioting, assault, and other charges), while twenty-one SPD officers were injured.

Down in LA, Antifas broke into the federal Bureau of Prisons Detention Center. In Richmond, VA, rioters set fire to a city dump truck used as a barrier to protect a police station.

So it goes in the insurrection summer of 2020. The nation’s attention is averted from the real action taking place as the economy continues to implode and the US dollar slides on the Forex market — meaning that not only is business failing everywhere, and livelihoods extinguished, but the medium-of-exchange that represents all transactions by any remaining business is accelerating its decline toward the target value: zero. This is unfortunately what comes of the fiscal profligacy prompted by the corona virus crisis, with the Senate poised to introduce another $1 trillion in an emergency assistance spending bill that would reimburse 70 percent of unemployed workers’ lost wages. Over on the House side, Speaker Nancy Pelosi upped the ante to $3 trillion in emergency spending, designed to crater the dollar even faster and, theoretically, assure a Democratic Party victory on November 3 (to govern the smoldering cinder that will be left of the USA).

The counterforce to that lethal inflation is the choking off of capital flows from the tens of millions of mortgages, car loans, and myriad other obligations that can’t possibly be paid in August, September, and October. These tributaries flow into the larger rivers of capital, and when they dry up the entire global banking order may keel over, with those fabled financial weapons of mass destruction, the derivatives, triggering an orgy of counterparty insolvency. When capital stops flowing, you see, money doesn’t just sit there, it vanishes. The question is: can it disappear faster than fiscal policy-gone-wild can summon fresh money into existence? I guess we’ll find out.

The world has gone broke before — the Dark Ages, the Plague Years, the Thirty Years’ War, the Great Depression — but never broke like this, or this badly, or had so many people in it who were going to suffer from being broke. The Antifas on the streets of Portland, Seattle, and elsewhere probably don’t have collateralized loan obligations and other financial esoterica on their minds, but these things lurk somewhere in the collective subconscious behind the nihilism they’ve fallen into these brutal dog days of summer as the insane lead the blind.

In the early days of the New Deal, it was a “Given” among even the architects of the New Deal that if the government was to provide support to the unemployed during the Great Depression, then the government support must come in the form of temporary in kind support and jobs rather than giving people cash as this would bankrupt people morally. Many of the New Deal government jobs were frowned upon as “Make Work” jobs, but still much better than giving people a cash dole. Strangely, with Lend-Lease and later WWII, factory jobs making weapons were not viewed as “Make Work”, and these jobs were viewed as “Real Jobs”. I wonder how the superfluous administration jobs and “Diversity” jobs in government and universities today are now viewed? Many jobs will be replaced by AI algorithms and robots in the next 5 to 10 years, with the function of people relegated to being producers of “data” to be harvested by the AI algorithms. Another function of people heretofore has been to consume shit produced by the industrial society, but with everyone impoverished I don’t know if this is sustainable without UBI? I think that Warren Buffet wants the government to given people a UBI which people would use to pay their rents on their trailers in Warren Buffet’s dystopian mass franchise White Trash nationwide trailer parks?

I wonder if the armed mobs stalking the streets of our cities are going to help bring about weapon confiscation for the rest of us, or will the cowards who rule bow down before the armed mobs? I am beginning to think that arming the general public, (and mindless idiots) is the best choice and let them shoot it our in the streets. Afterwards it would be much easier to clean up the mess, don’t you think? We could replace the police forces with armies of morticians and probably save a lot of expenses.

      • NickelthroweR July 27, 2020 at 10:34 am #

        Greetings,

Our current grid and infrastructure is not designed to withstand urban warfare. That, alone, will take us to a very bad place. Allow me to explain.

I was an officer in the US Army. You’d think my job would be that of lead murderer or war party cheerleader but you’d be wrong. My job was that of a sanitation engineer. After all, lack of sanitation has killed far more soldiers throughout history than any fighting and did so right up to WWII.

Once someone figures out that electrical substations and water treatment plants and not police stations are the real targets then it is on for real. As soon as people start crapping all over the place it will bring on the biblical plagues that will knock the population in the cities back by 90% regardless of a person’s political affiliation.

NickelthroweR, Please don’t give the idiots any ideas. Power down when the temp is 99 in the shade will turn the Megalopolis into a nitemare. I was out at the range the other day and couldn’t believe I was the only person there. I believe people aren’t there because they can’t replace their ammo.

I too have been perplexed that there hasn’t been a surge of newbies at the range (or at least an increase in the usual clientele). My guess would be that, although a lot of newbies may be making first firearm purchases, they don’t believe it’s necessary to train with said purchases.

“I’ll just pull it out of the box and follow the instructions when I need it. How hard can it be?“. (Does not bode well for the initiation of conflict)

I was lucky someone suggested to me to get into reloading a couple years ago, and I took their advice. As a reloader of 9mm, I was mercilessly mocked. However, now I’m seen as a visionary since 9mm is essentially unavailable. Go figure.

I live out in the sticks. Since we are not on the sewer system, septic tank and line maintenance are part of our homeowner responsibility. I can tell you that it is not a job for the faint hearted. I have often joked, over the course of 31 years of residency, that maybe it would have been easier to build a nice outhouse. Even outhouses need maintenance, though. I can’t imagine the sophisticated urbanites even contemplating taking care of an outhouse.

          • Doc Holliday July 27, 2020 at 12:57 pm #

Rainmaker, I live in a semi-rural area near Richmond, VA. You are correct, Sir. Maintenance can never rest nor does rust. And, invariably, it seems to raise its head on Christmas Eve or the 3 day weekend of July 4th particularly the ‘self watering or self septic systems’. But look at it this way, it keeps you ‘off the streets’ or as one of my favorite but, now, past icons would say “Stay (ing) Away From Crowds”…

          • BackRowHeckler July 27, 2020 at 5:42 pm #

Doc Holliday, do you ever find any Civil War relics laying around?

        • Walter B July 27, 2020 at 10:53 am #

Yes indeed NickelthroweR, that is exactly how it ends. Read the Book if you have not already. Delaying the inevitable only builds frustration in those who know.

        • rainmaker July 27, 2020 at 2:39 pm #

Hey Doc Holliday, I’m more of a ma’am than a sir. However, that has not exempted me from getting knee deep in it, so to speak. There’s nothing more fun than having to pee behind the house at night while worrying about scurrying skunks because tree roots have invaded your septic line and you flushed too much T.P. We own a line snaking system, and know how to use it. Country people have to do things the “country way”, sometimes.

Walter wants to arm the public with weapons so that they can engage in civil war rather than going to his house to disarm him in his zealotry for violence towards his fellow countrymen & women.
This is a guy that does not want to legalize weed for public sales and taxation purposes that would assist his political and financial enclave of supporters/neighbours in the area he supposedly serves as a statesman of public affairs.

Mayor Walter B. is not a good hippie IMHO.

        • Sredni Vashtar July 27, 2020 at 11:41 am #

I don’t think he ever claimed to be a hippy. I don’t remember him ever opining on weed. He probably wouldn’t be interested personally but he might be alright with others using it responsibly.

You seem to envy his attaining to public office. Why? Lots of disagree with you but you don’t hate us like this.

          • Robert White July 27, 2020 at 11:55 am #

Walter is a narrow minded politician that fails to understand his clients as he morphed from being a simple Casino Capitalist to becoming a feudal lord espousing right-wing fanaticism to a point of inciting violence towards his political opposition on the left.

Walter is an opportunist politician that constantly virtue signals to his base constituency, Janos. He is such a right-wing partisan zealot that it makes me wonder if he even reads books at all?

Every week he announces his virtuous right-wing partisan zealotry as a paragon of virtue unparalleled by contemporary events dismissed in his narcissism and delusions of grandeur.

I don’t engage in hate, Janos.

Ordinary people hate. Are you putting yourselves above us by saying you don’t?

Walter is a Libertarian type Christian. I don’t think the two go together that well, nor do I think that early Americans would have bought into Libertarianism. They knew that they all had to hang together or they would hang separately. In short, I hold no brief for Walter per se, but I detect something distinctly personal in your attacks.

          • Robert White July 27, 2020 at 12:27 pm #

Walter’s persona is distinctly personal to you, Janos. I, on the other hand, am a Social Scientist formally trained to think systematically via anti-social virtue signaling uttered by municipal statesmen on the US side of the political ledger.

I’m a Grumpy Marxist, Janos. I am extreme left-of-center Marxist due to my experience with Wall Street, US Federal Reserve, SEC, and Maestro Greenspan.

I was indoctrinated into Finance Capitalism via my Senior Rulings National Revenue CANADA Chartered Accountant civil servant father, and my father’s lecture on Macroeconomic Finance as I watched Richard Nixon close the convertibility of the gold exchange to replace it with Keynesian deficit spending that would allow outsized profits for everyone closest to the Fed Reserve money spigot in opposition to everyone else.

STEM careers were engineered via Finance to reap the largest outsized profits in opposition to all other domains of tertiary education, Janos.

Back in the 60s & 70s governments were forced to balance their budgets. Post-Nixon governments used deficits to beat us into submission to their totalitarian finance regime that always keeps them on top and us on the bottom of the food chain.

Back in the 60s Jeff Bezos was just a regular guy like me, Janos.

            RW

          • Sredni Vashtar July 27, 2020 at 2:34 pm #

Did I say your hatred was without any justification? I hate them too. But hatred per se is unproductive. One must channel it towards worthy ends – not the mass genocide of Whites or Marxist Globalism, but real Nationalism.

          • Robert White July 27, 2020 at 2:47 pm #

Hate is never a part of my vocabulary, Janos. You are the divisive one not moi. I’m the social science guy and you are the fringe hatemonger that can’t go one week without denigrating African Americans.

Don’t presume to lecture me on Social Science, Janos.

            Robert White

I can’t agree with you re: Walter B. You have extrapolated a truckload of conclusions from what have become quite infrequent comments this last year or so.

Prior to his recent relative reclusion, Walter has explained his position quite clearly. His frustration with self-serving local body politicians (what the English & Kiwis might refer to as “little Hitlers”) has grown to cynicism, and more lately, despair. It’s that frustration & despair that ends up expressed through negative ideas, such as in this instance.

Walter once described himself as a “Kennedy Democrat”. Those days are long gone from the Democratic. Party, and with them, the likes of Walter & JHK. It’s a crying shame to me they and like-minded socially conscious people of good faith have no political “home” anymore – to the point where JHK can even say, without compunction, that he will vote for the Idiot in Chief in November.

        • Robert White July 27, 2020 at 5:09 pm #

Walter is hoisted upon his petards in hopes that his stench blows in the winds of hostility and division from his own entrenched views of a world past, and long forgotten too.

Walter is a log cabin Abe Lincoln politician without the log cabin. He is all hat and no cattle. He is a man that blows with the wind of opportunity only. Substance is not a hallmark of his character or persona.

Like I said, Walter’s ilk always retires to the Elk’s Club in ignorance. I see it happening to right-wing politicians in CANADA too.

The poor sot doesn’t realize he serves both the lefties & righties when it comes to his mandate to be a municipal politician that represents his client base equitably.

Mayor of Dog Shit is not the station in life that I aspire to.

He is a man that blows with the wind of opportunity only. Substance is not a hallmark of his character or persona.”

That is actually slanderous, Robert White. You owe Walter an apology for this tripe.

          • Robert White July 27, 2020 at 7:58 pm #

Walter’s commentary warrants lambasting as he advocates enabling the ‘mindless’ to ‘shoot it out in the streets’ so that as a bureaucrat he can allocate cleanup costs to cleaning up ‘the mess in the streets’ as the cost of doing business from his cold calculated vindictive predatory text book Psychopathy run amok towards irrationalism.

Any politician that advocates violence as solution to sociopolitical conundrum can get in line to lick my balls in deference to my superior intellect.

Walter and his litigator can stick it where the sun don’t shine on the misapplied slander accusation as Mayor of Dog Shit Jersey actually did advocate violence towards his opposition critics in his own electoral district.

Walter is an abomination to democracy proper.

Tell his litigator I said bite me.

Why is the PC Left and its’ fellow travelers over at BLM, Antifa and the Woke Mob still infatuated with Marxist ideology after every other thinking person has concluded that its’ time has come and gone? The unique set of circumstances that created the hypertrophic, hyper-complex and hyper-connected global economy we live in are coming to an end and won’t be replaced by an ideology that was dreamed up to address the worst excesses of 19th century industrial capitalism. Heck, we’ll be lucky if we can grow enough food to feed our communities and keep civilization from degenerating into a Lord Of The Flies scenario. Great post JHK and looking forward to hearing more from you.

          • Robert White July 27, 2020 at 7:07 pm #

Yeah, but I’m on the pinko Commie bastard side of the equation, benr. You erroneously think that my Comrades on the left are acting out of hate when they merely want to take the pedestal white supremacist statues down to replace them with an appropriate statue like that of Martin Luther King instead.

And we in turn would like to end the white supremacy of the Federal Reserve, U.S. Treasury, Securities & Exchange Commission, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and throw in Congress for good measure along with the supremacist White House.

Actually, we burned down the White House in the 1812 war, but it’s high time the lefties painted the town red again with what’shisname’s replenishment of the tree of Liberty where the blood of patriots & tyrants is intermixed to form new governance and a way forward that is qualitatively better than the present systemic fraud worldwide.

      • fugeguy July 27, 2020 at 12:34 pm #

JHK-Admin how so? Basic economics is that when you give money to the poor it tends to end up in the pockets of the rich. That’s how they got rich in the first place.

Simple formula to get ahead in life is to spend less than you make, save the difference. Works whether you make $15/ hr or $50/hr. The rich take those savings and invest them in productive activities.

Now it is true that some start life so poor it is very tough to get ahead, especially as the economy has been degraded. However, most people deny any responsibility for their circumstances which amplifies the current problems.

Yep. Warren B. and the rest of the billionaires and millionaires too want the government to just bail them out and give them money directly. Choice B is to give the people money. Just adds a step in the end. If a few people get food and a little enjoyment out of life from the extra step I guess that is worth something.

Above link is an interview with journalist Andy Ngo who was beaten up in late June 2019 by Antifa protesters. Interview is from August 2019.
He is the son of Vietnam refugees and lives/grew up in Portland. Writes for WSJ, NYpost among others. Interviewer is British. An excellent interview, especially the bit about Portland being one of the whitest cities in USA and what is behind the rise of Antifa there.

    • sophia July 27, 2020 at 11:43 am #

I’m listening now and it is obvious that the rot in Portland is of longstanding. He was beaten (he’s a gay Vietnamese) into a brain bleed right in front of the police, who did not interfere. Which means that the current riots won’t be particularly shocking to the average residents there. They are used to it. Antifa acts up there regularly.

    • JustSaying July 27, 2020 at 11:53 am #

Yes, I believe Portlandia is 1.8 percent black. So it’s Antifa Lives Matter.

      • Sredni Vashtar July 27, 2020 at 12:07 pm #

Conflict between these two groups may be inevitable since Blacks can’t stand seeing Whites take the lead in BLM demonstrations. Blacks think they are fit to lead us in all things!

It must have rankled some of the Antifa when Black thugs ended up being the leaders of CHAZ and made a dog’s breakfast of it.

      https://www.dallasnews.com/news/texas/2020/07/26/man-fatally-shot-at-protest-in-austin/

AUSTIN — Police have released the driver who allegedly killed an armed protester Saturday night in downtown Austin, while they investigate what led to the fatal shooting.

Austin Police Chief Brian Manley identified the man who was shot as Garrett Foster (white man).

Foster was attending the protest against police violence and had been pushing the wheelchair of his fiancée, Whitney Mitchell, 28, (black woman) who is a quadruple amputee, their mothers told The Dallas Morning News. The couple, who met in North Texas as teenagers, moved to Austin a couple of years ago and had attended protests in recent weeks.

Austin police are investigating what occurred between Foster, who they said was carrying an AK-47-style rifle during the protest, and the driver, who called police to report that he’d shot someone.

Accounts of what happened that night vary, police said.

Witnesses reported that just before 10 p.m. Saturday, a car turned down the street toward the protesters and the driver started honking its horn. The vehicle stopped in the roadway, police said, and Foster approached the driver’s side window as others began striking the car. The driver then opened fire, striking Foster.

Manley said at a news conference Sunday that the driver reported Foster pointed his weapon at them before the shooting. KVUE-TV reported that police have said Foster did not discharge his weapon, but the chief did say someone else in the crowd did return fire as the car left the scene.

I’m not an especially churlish grammar Nazi (although according to the current dispensation of the ruling class, being white and holding the same views as Senator Sonny Bono would probably make me technically a Nazi), but I think the plural of Antifa may be “antifa.” To the substance of the article: I have been praying to God that the threats to “storm the suburbs” are hollow; not so much out of sympathy with my fellow suburbanites, but because it would be a turkey shoot similar to the American military against the Ba’athist Guard, or maybe even what the Germans did to the English Oxford dons trying to cross No Man’s land with their swagger sticks in hand. “Badwhites” as John Derbyshire calls the sort who do things like watch Nascar and read Breitbart, have hardware that shoots much farther than the pageantry players from the ‘hood playing dress-up.

    • Ishabaka July 27, 2020 at 10:40 am #

But yes, they can do better than they do now – but they don’t want to cuz that’s acting White. In other words, the Choice has been made. Now they have to live with their decision. Policy is made by the average, not the anomalies and outliers. Separation is the answer now, given their Choice. As Buddha said, if a, then b.

If you deny their choice, their answer, their a, you are denying them moral agency (humanity) and you are doing what you just condemned. It’s a done deal, Sophia.

The problem isn’t really grammar as such, it is the entire edifice of education, which relies on being able to read and write in discipline-specific ways.

Students need to learn how to write things like theses, survey papers, lit reviews, all kinds of reports and so on. The clowns at Rutgers are, well, clowns.

        • Nightowl July 28, 2020 at 4:32 pm #

Really good point. This is, in fact, the case for a large segment of the population (in my experience).

At this point, I have worked with too many professional writers to count, and I can recall only a handful who had “good” grammar and who could spell somewhat uncommon words (and even some common ones) without a dictionary.

Learning the ropes of how to write properly for specific disciplines or scenarios is a much more critical skill in the grand scheme of things.

Anfifa/BLM showed up yesterday at the Plaza de la Constitucion, the oldest public square in the country, in downtown St. Augustine, FL.

They were promptly stood down by the Proud Boys, Bikers for Trump, the 3%’ers, the 1%’ers and other Patriots, before they could start any of their trademark intimidation of the elderly, families, or anyone else they vastly outnumber.

They were escorted off the Plaza in no uncertain terms, prior to any of their typical disturbances and criminal mischief. We’re not under the illusion, like many, thinking that “It’ll never happen here”. We say “it’ll never happen here”, and then back it up.

Not here baby, we’re not having any of it. Welcome to St. Augustine, the oldest continuously occupied city in North America, where we still retain & cherish America’s values & ideals.

      • Ron Anselmo July 28, 2020 at 11:23 pm #

        Janos,

The Hispanics in St. Augustine, far North Florida, largely date back to the founding of the City in 1565, by Pedro Menendez de Aviles of Spain, so long ago assimilated – better said, we assimilated long ago.

South Florida, where I was born & raised, yes, overrun gradually until the tipping point of 125,000 Marielitos arriving from Cuba in a 6-month period in 1980, during the Mariel Boatlift crisis. That influx alone changed the complexion of South Florida – no pun intended – my reason for migrating to North Florida to raise my family.

Central Florida, yes, largely overrun as hundreds of thousands of Hispanics are largely employed (were) in the service industry of restaurants, hotels, leisure & entertainment venues that make up Orlando & Disney.

So, yes, all three illustrate that demography is destiny indeed.

I suspect there are a lot of false positives going around. The spaces between threads in the weave of a cotton fabric mask are the equivalent of the Holland Tunnel to viruses and the use of such is simply the equivalent of rubbing your lucky rabbit’s foot, a magical talisman. The requirement to use them appears to be more along the lines of forcing a religious obligation. Something very odd is going on.

As macrofinance becomes adjunct to political and cultural war as guides to the next electoral outcome we can rest assured knowing that the finances of G-7 and G-20 will disappear once the latest rounds of quantitative easing are absorbed by the FIRE sector arbitrage that is certain to be the last financial hurrah of western civilization.

The collective unconscious of civilization is well aware of the elephant of finance in the room, but the escapism of theater, and public spectacle is merely the latest media led event to disguise that fact for individual awareness that would fold under the weight of fear that a world with no money will bring to all of our lives near term, and long term.

Financially, the most apt historical parallel would be the run-up to the Great Depression where everyone and their brother was betting long on stocks to a point of irrational exuberance and blue sky predictions of the future where none existed in reality.

Tesla and Musk are wholly based upon blue sky investment in silicone valley that is now forced to empty out due to the pandemic.

Unconsciously, we all know that the future will be one with no money.

The Richmond, VA mayor and his lap-dog Police Chief claim that out-of-town rioters who are white supremacists are posing as BLM folks and causing the riots in Richmond. Of course, absolutely no evidence is given. I knew at the end of the day, it would be whitey’s fault. Really makes me want to go into Richmond.

    • BackRowHeckler July 27, 2020 at 12:08 pm #

Yeah, that’s what the Mayors of Portland and Seattle are saying too.

White Supremacists sent by President Trump are the ones creating havoc in their cities, not Antifa or BLM. Some people might believe it and why not, the media never pushes back and asks any probing questions; they just seem to accept it at face value.

James Howard: Very trenchant review of current idiocy which passes as civil discourse. The democratic cities are surging towards the “smoldering cinder” outcome, whereas the majority of America is standing firm. Case in point; Long Island had a blue lives matter rally over the weekend, which attracted over 1000 souls ( I do not know the breakdown but would hope for multiracial). The “rebellion” is composed of mostly bored, brainwashed whites, who have yet to taste real violence visited upon themselves nor focused opposition of the verbal garbage they espouse. We survived the riots of anti- Vietnam protestors and we will emerge from this bruised but very unbowed and united in thought and action.

    • Sredni Vashtar July 27, 2020 at 12:39 pm #

Michelle Malkin, one of our greatest living Americans, recently went to a blue lives matter rally. The police stood down and let the Leftists pummel them. I can only hope that some of the officers loathed themselves and their position, and considered early retirement. And I can only hope that they decide to stay on despite their guilt or shame.

The Police are absolutely necessary. But as individuals, they often aren’t praiseworthy. They do what they are told. If they don’t, they’ll get fired. Just like truck drivers or construction workers or anyone else. They’re brick in the wall, nothing more. They System is too big to allow for much individuality and therein lies a very deep, existential problem for another day. So –

      Blue Lives Matter!

I’ve told you before: I’m a racist not a bigot. I put mine first. That’s different than hating others or believing nothing great or good is ever done by non-Whites.

Why is this so hard for you to understand? Are you a bigot? Don’t project that shit on me, ok?

Malkin actually said once when addressing the Groypers, America is great because it’s White and it’s greatness will depart with them. She’s extraordinary in many ways.

          • Rupert July 27, 2020 at 1:46 pm #

Malkin understands these things better than most and it doesn’t surprise me. Among all peoples there are foolish and wise and part of wisdom is understanding the differences among peoples.

America, as America, is and only can be an extension of the folkways of the British Isles transplanted into a continent conquered, once it becomes otherwise it ceases to be America and becomes something else entire. The same way that the cultures that comprised the Eastern Roman Empire ceased to define Anatolia once the Turk came to town, America is swiftly becoming something alien to itself and weirdness ensues.

One can note these things without being baleful and hating other peoples. I will never be Japanese, but I quite like Japan and the people were rather lovely when I spent a few years among them.

Also noted- a person alien to a people can become a friend or even adopted member of that people via family ties, adopting culture, etc. One of the signs someone has successfully done so, beyond marrying into the tribe, is being willing to close the door to other newcomers if the will of the rest of that people desire it.

Any who are unwilling to close the door has not been grafted into the people in truth, but remains loyal to the outsider.

          • Sredni Vashtar July 27, 2020 at 3:55 pm #

Very well said. In his book on Japan, Jared Taylor relates a story related to him. An American girl lived with a Japanese family for half a year or so. Saying goodbye, they told her how much they enjoyed having her and how she was almost like a daughter to them. Then the woman said, Please don’t use your knowledge of the Japanese language to snag a Japanese boy. We would view that as a betrayal.

    Hello James,

YES, the CREDIT CARTEL teeters on the rim of the deflationary volcano – SO WHAT?????

Denny the gun-smith in the mountains of Catron county New Mexico called me onto his portch one fine 1996 winters morn and pointing at the rising sun said:

“Do yah see it? Right there! Do yah see it? The idiot federal gubbermint is close and the fooking sun still rose!!!!!”

John Sperdutti [Numismatic coin guru] told me in 1997 there is enough gold & silver coins & medalions in American homes to cover the ‘liquidity-needs’ of the economy if the M-1 money supply collapsed.

JIM, who cares what the YDS, FED, Carnivore Capitalists and gubbermint sock-puppets do? The whole circus will collapse when we stop paying attention.

Tend your household economy [oikos nomos – household norms] and interpersonal relationships and the rest will take care of itself.

One of the great accomplishments of the American Left is the creation of the new white underclass that composes these peaceful rioters.

And most of the insanity we see is the new white underclass acting up so as to maybe get out of the left’s intersectional basement. Does anyone like the new white underclass? No.

You know, antifa are not a bunch of stumble bums. They are a very well-funded and professionally run trans-national organization – with offices and secretaries and board rooms and international coordination and everything – with lots of experience of global color revolutions over many years.

The USA is now getting the full benefit of that professionalism. So don’t let the grubby appearance of the dead-eyed front-idiots fool you.

There are some, striving to be tolerant, open minded and non-racist I suppose, who insist that this display of weaponry by the NFAC and others is just a display of their 2A rights and should be supported. I however find that “display” threatening and don’t see it as just a group wanting to exercise their 2A rights. Especially when it is accompanied by threats. And loaded guns that they’re not all that sure of safely using. Why are they carrying loaded guns anyway just to march around the city?

It’s a show of force in preparation for US Civil War 2020 election in November 2020. These are just the warm up games before showdown in November.

Left-wing militias vs. right-wing militias coast-to-coast summer of the guns USA 2020.

The theater is blatantly obvious as each side goads the other into direct combat and confrontation.

The jockeying for position to declare federally imposed martial law and mass arrest is being manufactured via media ahead of the election so that the US Deep State can wrest control away from the political parties for regime change so that war with China is averted.

The new puppet government will actually look quite different from what you are being led to believe it will look like in November.

As a corporation the Government of the United States of America is on the precipice of Chapter 11 bankruptcy due to the fact that China and the Russian Federation will most assuredly dump their Treasury Securities in the beginning of November ahead of the official bankruptcy and global WW3 hot kinetic thermonuclear conflagration.

      • JustSaying July 27, 2020 at 12:06 pm #

Historically right-wing dictatorships assume power during civil wars since the military and police are conservative. What is the real size of the left-wing militia? We only know Antifa and this group is very small in size, about 100 people. I think the Deep State is more interested in war WITH China.

        • Rupert July 27, 2020 at 12:25 pm #

There’s the question, though. Is the US military actually right-leaning at this point? The officer corps seems extremely Woke in its own way, Wokeism is just an acceleration of the elite culture of the imperial capital, etc.

I’m curious how it all shakes out, I’m hopeful I’m far enough into the hinterlands to avoid conflagration.

          • cbeard July 27, 2020 at 1:23 pm #

I would think the military isn’t so right leaning as the all volunteer forces usually draw in the dregs of society. Ones who have no other option. I’m sure there are some very good people in the military these days, but not sure how many in relation to their not so illustrious peers. I would hate to see a draft reinstated, but that is the only way to get quality people. As things are today, I would recommend friends and family of eligible age to refuse the draft. I saw a photo somewhere a few weeks ago showing some soldiers kneeling to some antifa types. My old job took me to many military bases and I did meet many exceptional young people. I also met many not of the exceptional stripe.

          • butter56 July 27, 2020 at 4:17 pm #

The ethnic make up of the military makes you wonder wether it would reliable in a domestic conflict. Forty percent of of the military is non white. They are likely to turn on one another in a domestic situation. They are great at making sure we can drive our F-150”s for a reasonable price, but this not the same force which put down civil disturbances in the 60’s.

        • Kim July 27, 2020 at 8:37 pm #

Historically right-wing dictatorships assume power during civil wars since the military and police are conservative.

Not a true generalization as far as I can tell: Soviet Union, China, the Communist takeover in Bavaria after WW1, the Bela Kun takeover in Hungary,…

In Spain, the right won after a civil war. So there is one example.

Besids, how do we differentiate revolution from civil war?

Overall, much too hard to generalize about these kinds of things. And as for the police and army being conservative, I can’t see that either. I would not call the PLA conservative. Most people in the paramilitary forces just want to get paid regularly. I would not rely on their politics in troubled times.

Add to your scenario Barr and Durham “slow-walking” the findings into the two year investigation into the Democrats and FBI/Intel spying on the Trump campaign and his presidency.

It is almost August and no report. Early voting is creeping up and if the report is an “October Surprise” it will have little effect since many millions will have already voted and that bell cannot be un-rung.

My guess is that the Democrats, Obama, Susan Rice and Hillary have so much power that they can politically force Barr into NOT releasing his findings prior to the election because it might appear to be politically motivated. If that happens and the Democrats take the presidency and the Senate we will NEVER see the report.

I hope I am wrong and that the Barr/Durham report comes out PRIOR to any early voting. If so it had better be released PDQ.

Feds should dust off and implement again Phoenix program against those punks who destroy property, tear down our cherished monuments and desecrate sacred places.

Because what they are doing now is catching and releasing the Sheep with zero effect.Meanwhile Shepherds keep financing this mayhem.

    Let me refresh your memory:

    =======

“The problem was, how do you find the people on the blacklist? It’s not like you had their address and telephone number. The normal procedure would be to go into a village and just grab someone and say, “Where’s Nguyen so-and-so?” Half the time the people were so afraid they would not say anything.

Then a Phoenix team would take the informant, put a sandbag over his head, poke out two holes so he could see, put commo wire around his neck like a long leash, and walk him through the village and say, “When we go by Nguyen’s house scratch your head.” Then that night Phoenix would come back, knock on the door, and say, “April Fool, motherfucker.”

Whoever answered the door would get wasted. As far as they were concerned whoever answered was a Communist, including family members. Sometimes they’d come back to camp with ears to prove that they killed people. ”

    =====

When Robert McNamara visited Vietnam in the late 90’s his bosom pal General Vo Nguen Giap reluctantly admitted that Phoenix was highly efficient and damaging to VCI (Viet Cong Infrastructure) and 25000 of his best VC cadre were killed.

Is not is wonderful, folks,to pay a visit to one of those anonymous Shepherds, smile and say “April Fool,Motherfucker !!!”

Phew, the 30 Years War, I’ve read up on it, that was a bad one.

For example, we read with great indignation of the few dozen ‘Witches’ burned at the stake in Salem, Mass in the 1690s. Well, during the Thirty Years War 1618-1648, in central Europe, over 40,000 human beings were burned at the stake after being convicted of practicing witchcraft. They didn’t f##k around in those days.

One of my wife’s ancestors was a Quaker in Massachusetts and the Puritan theocracy ordered him covered with stones and was crushed to death. Acts like this probably contributed to the founders advocating separation of church and state.

Yeah I stand corrected about New Englanders burning their neighbors at the stake. Hanging sounds more like it; by the 1690s executing people by fire was not done any longer, at least in England and the eastern seaboard of America.

“In Austin Saturday night, one feckless BLM mob marcher name of Garrett Foster brought his AK-47 to the street party. When he pointed it at a motorist trapped by the crowd, he got blown away to that great struggle session in the sky, the surprise of his life, I’m sure.” JFK

You can tell Mr. Foster was looking for trouble, as he was pushing his quadriplegic wife in a wheel chair at the time.

Witnesses differ as to what started the incident, but a car was driven into the protesters.

“You could hear the wheels squealing from hitting the accelerator so fast,” said Mr. Capochiano, 53, a restaurant accountant. “I’m a little surprised that nobody got hit.”

The car came to a stop after turning from Fourth Street onto Congress Avenue and appeared to strike a traffic pylon. As people shouted angrily at the driver, Mr. Foster walked toward the car, with the muzzle of his rifle pointed downward, he said.

“He was not aiming the gun or doing anything aggressive with the gun,” Mr. Capochiano said. “I’m not sure if there was much of an exchange of words. It wasn’t like there was any sort of verbal altercations. He wasn’t charging at the car.”

A live filming by a reporter on the scene showed that it all unfolded in a matter of seconds.

But I’m sure Mr. Foster got what he deserved, as JHK has pronounced it so. Of course, his cause was not as righteous as the right-wing boys taking their AK-47’s into the Michigan legislature to protest the outrage of being asked to wear masks or stay out of bars for a while. Did JHK opine much about them?

And if JHK has any evidence linking the amorphous antifa groups to any Democratic party organization, then perhaps, he should present it.
(I am not a defender of that party – just interested in actual evidence, rather than rabble-rousing.)

This is the way that the Chinese think, generally…. Some types of political systems seem to operate according to a dynamic of struggle-to-the-death and extermination or absorption of an opponent (the “Enemy”).

“ HITLER DIDN’T SHARE much with Roosevelt, but he accepted the president’s conclusion that the struggle between fascism and democracy was a fight to the death. And on December 11 he did precisely what Roosevelt wanted him to do. He notified the American embassy that Germany was declaring war on the United States. “Our patience is ended,” Hitler told the Reichstag, by way of explanation. “The American president and his plutocratic clique have always in the past considered us a poor people. They were right! But this poor people wishes to live…. It wishes to ensure that it will never again be robbed by the rich nations of the earth, who refuse it its rightful place in the sun.”

Absolutely. Last night Fosters Facebook page was still up, it may still be. There wasn’t a lot of sympathy on there given his past comments.

      https://www.brighteon.com/13eb50ef-4181-4c48-9116-c11212012b90

This video contains footage that the media has not shown, and of course will not show. The car in question was not trying to speed up and endanger protesters. It was simply making a right hand turn when the white wanna-be black BLM loser opened fire on it. (In the 90s they were called “Wiggers”. Actually they proudly called themselves that too.)

The good news is that yet another BLM loser proves that he can’t shoot straight with even a rifle. Fired five rounds from close range and none of the rounds hit anyone in the car. While the non-Wigger white guy in the car killed that POS with only three rounds from a handgun, probably just holding it with one hand too.

      • SW July 28, 2020 at 9:17 am #

I have zero sympathy for someone who brings a rifle to what is supposed to be a peaceful demonstration for police reform. He was looking for trouble & found it. My guess too is he was hoping for a scenario where he would be prominently featured as some kind of “hero” defending his handicapped GF.

        • cc rider July 28, 2020 at 10:53 am #

Yes, even though it is legal, it is a very dumb idea to bring a rifle, especially an AK-47 to a highly charged environment such as a protest that can break out into a riot at any second. It does appear now that Foster himself never did fire any rounds. BTW I live here in Austin and there has been more information coming out that the first five shots heard on the video was from the person inside of the car. Then after about 3 to 5 seconds there was a burst of three rounds which was fired by a third party bystander who fired at the car as it drove off. But, I understand that the police have a still photo of Foster with his AK-47 raised to his shoulder as he approached the car. If this is the case then there probably won’t be any charges filed against the person in the car. It also helps the car shooter’s case that he stopped several blocks away and called the police and told them that he had just been involved in a shooting and was very cooperative.

So yes, bottom line Garret Foster was a fool for bringing his AK downtown to the protest. Now his quadriplegic fiance doesn’t have him to take care of him anymore. Of course she should’ve told him not to bring the damn gun herself. So……It’s a tragic shame, but I find it hard to have sympathy for such stupidity.

Eons ago, in early 1950’s, a callow youth was informed, duck and cover not withstanding, respect the China/PDRK/Russia alliance; fear the day Mohammedanism gains nuclear technology.

Along the way in early 1960’s we see Islam insinuate the prison system, organizing black inmates who form Black Muslim organizations in metro areas. Of course this black “cause” behind bars effects enhanced organization of the white supremacists in the prison system as countermeasure. No Duh. About this time the Militant Black Muslims appears at the State Capitol Building in Sacramento, well armed with latest brand new civilian AR-15 rifles in hand.

Suppression of blacks has been an evil component in this evolution, and we are tramping thru the rotten residue nowadays. In China, it should be noted, the government has developed some effective crowd control techniques after Tiananmen Square events. The inscrutable ones have lately employed large mobile “waste incineration units”, helpful to shave Covid-19 mortality numbers.

If that’s a question for the gallery, my take is that the whole world will gravitate towards “authoritarian” rule, most claiming to be some sort of “peoples” or socialist government.

Trading blocs will form with the US/Canada/Mexico being the nexus of one (US in driver’s seat). The danger will be avoiding being dragged into someone else’s war.

Candidates for war are China with Japan/Taiwan/India, India with Pakistan/China, and Israel with whoever comes out on top in the Muslim world. Russia will be stirring the pot but trying to stay out unless a loony gets control after Putin (who is ruthless and hard-nosed, but not loony).

Russia’s ambitions are for regional security and dominance, but no longer world revolution/conquest. China wants oil and other resources, like Japan in the 1930s – which makes them dangerous.

I once knew a bloke who said that when he was working at the fried chicken joint that he used to urinate in the big sink in the back of the kitchen that they used to mix the cole slaw. He said that if one wanted to screw up the urban infrastructure and wreak havoc that you’d get a big tanker of excrement collected presumably from septic tanks or elsewhere and then late one night pull up to the local public water source and then dump it into the public drinking water. Fear not. This will all dissipate after Susan Rice/Kamala Harris/Duckworth, et al. rides in on the Trojan Horse known as the Weekend at Biden’s Regime.

Just as 4 years ago, in the run-up to the 2016 election, it was all coverage of police shootings of black people and the rise of the revolutionary plants AKA useful idiots likeTalcum X/Rosé Parks/WEB DuBlanc/Shawn King and others, until it was too late. Then the killings suddenly stopped happening, the coverage suddenly disappeared, the funding of BLM not so inexplicably dried up.

But who is against taking money? What rights hustler out there is too good for $? So it’s that time again, when useful idiots get a cash infusion and a call to bring themselves and the dregs they associate with out into the streets.

The larger question is when is this a place not worth caring about? A place not worth defending? With countrymen you couldn’t give a rat’s *ss about. The answer is “now”.

The best you can hope for is a Balkanized group of states, and why not?

There is nothing worth preserving en masse, and that is worth noting, because nothing of this country will be preserved en masse going forward.

The farce of a Biden presidency looms as a very real possibility, as suburban voters impotently search for “normalcy” in some kind of magical experiment in pre-Trump time reversal.

It took a while for the RMS Titanic to sink, and when it did there were still a thousand people on board. The US economy too, has hit its iceberg, and things are flooding heavily from the collision. In contrast to the Titanic, there are much fewer life boats. Most of us will be stuck on the ship to the end, forced to choose as to what point we will jump– with the most desperate trying to mimic Leonardo diCaprio & ride the ship down at the stern.

Joe Biden and the vampires who run the DNC have all been reduced to their most practical role as this point in history– as the maestro & violin players on the ship’s deck.

“On our way to becoming a nation of hobos…”
    .
America used to have a healthy and robust hobo culture. If you can’t get a job or find a way to get by in one place, you just hopped a freight and went somewhere else. Along the way you met lots of other nice folks just like you hoping to get by. Get a meal here or there. Sleep in a barn. Swing a broom a bit. Then move on.
    .
Today, the rail lines have been decimated and the freights that do run carry what’s left of that cheap labor crap from that Land of the East. Today’s freight trains have been militarized and they run too fast to catch up to when you’re running on foot. That destroyed an entire successfully-working American culture.
    .
If we’re really going to Make American Great Again, we’ve got to bring back the rail lines and hobo culture. Soon, we’ll ALL be hobos without jobs and places to live. Millions of us will need a way to beg a meal somewhere and to move about after our homes have been foreclosed on, our cars repossessed, our bank accounts seized, our credit cards cancelled, and our smartphone battery goes dead and we throw the damn thing into the ditch along the tracks.
    .
Hobo Culture is America’s 21st Century Future. Get out those old hobo and railroad songs. Find your old harmonica and brush up. Tear some holes in your shirt and pants and socks if they don’t yet have any. Who says we don’t have a future?! We are Woke And We Are Broke™! Happy days are here again!

Well, another fantasy that crops up in CFN every now and then is “High Speed Rail”. If only we had High Speed Trains that would zip us across the continent at 300 mph … like they have in France and Japan. Instead were stuck with Amtrak locomotives chugging along at a measley 79 tops. I doubt if there will ever be any High Speed Rail. A choice had to be made in the mid 1950s, fix up the RRs or build a concrete interstate highway system. We built to roads. Existing rail passenger trains share rights of way with Conrail; the track we have now was built for low speed freight and will not accommodate high speed trains. High Speed Rail ain’t going to happen.

I was reading about Crystal Magnums BOOK,
          review at bezos ville,

be treated to a thoughtful recounting of the horrific saga of the Duke rape hoax.
We will revisit the night when a drug-addled stripper with a lengthy criminal record and a set of morals that, comparatively speaking, would entitle an alley cat to canonization, drifted into and out of a stag party, the details of which she can’t even remember.
We will review the sordid spectacle of 88 cowardly Duke professors who rushed to stoke racial hatred and bigotry when only the sketchiest of details about perjured accusations had been surfaced. We will recall the pitiful cowardice of Duke President Richard Brodhead who secured his place in infamy by firing the coach of the Duke lacrosse team within days of the false allegations being made public, an act for which he has yet to apologize or be held fully to account. We will avidly recount how an out-of-control Durham county prosecutor intent of winning reelection in a largely black voting district sought to enflame racial tensions by deliberately misrepresenting the truth and undertaking a consistent pattern of falsification, perjury, evidence tampering, subornation of perjury and obstruction of justice in order to sustain indictments against three Duke students he knew to be innocent.

We will learn about how media outlets like The New York Times made enormous efforts to stoke racial resentments and keep a crumbling criminal case alive by filing sloppily researched or even willfully false stories about the case. And we will learn how, even with all of the institutional machinery aligned against the defendants, the case eventually unraveled under the weight of so much falsehood, evidence tampering and obstruction of justice.

Needless to say, this book is not that book the reading public eagerly awaits. Instead, this book is a very valuable addition to the supply of material suitable for wrapping fish, lining bird cages or as sanitary wipe in the restroom.

Trump has Reagan to thank for the “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan that will be remembered as one of the most effective in political history. It was Reagan whose 1980 campaign against Jimmy Carter successfully reached out to voters with posters and pins reading “Let’s Make America Great Again.”

Reagan, at the time, was the challenger, not the incumbent.

Reagan also famously asked voters during that race to simply ask themselves, “Are you better off now than you were four years ago?” The Harvard Kennedy School called that “one of the most important campaign questions of all time.”

He stole the first line. He can’t steal the second.

Dump Covid and Chinese complicity by not controlling flights out of Wuhan while banning flights from there in country and Covid would never be used to shut down the economy ala never let a crisis go to waste types on both sides. Without that the economy would be booming and help wanted signs would still be everywhere.

    Hi Mr. Kunstler,
Let us get to it: What evidence do you have for the series of claims concerning Mr. Foster? Catharsis politely pointed out how much demagoguery went into that paragraph you wrote. You and Mr. Trump seem pretty tightly aligned on this. You can look at this as a call to “law and order”as you have done, but you could also look at this as a call to provoke bad outcomes by a President who is deathly afraid of losing in November, and badly needs a win. 1968 worked because Nixon was the law and order candidate and a democrat was in charge sending in the troops, showing he couldn’t govern the country. So, you want to turn this on is head and argue that our President has a handle on this because he is using the same playbook? Quite gnostic. Inquiring minds want to know how that works!

Nice picture of African-American folks with guns. Yeah, its pretty scary, but I don’t see all the pictures of scary white people with firearms who want to MAGA and dislike these demonstrators, including the person who shot Mr. Foster.

As for the combined tsunami of inflation and depression. You have been predicting this for years–the inflation that would happen after 2008-9 never materialised. You have to explain the failure of your own prediction. I know that shadow stats, http://www.shadowstats.com, has been manfully telling us that inflation for the average person has been exploding, but–it has not. the average individual has seen stagnation in real wages and the necessity of two income households. I will grant that asset prices have been inflated–yes, but the question you need to ask yourself is whether that is important in itself or whether the institutional responses we have seen (or not seen to it) since the 2008-9 recession to this have been adequate (Answer: No). It is possible that one lacunae in your thinking is that you discount Keynes’ General Theory (not the popularised bastardizations of it), especially when he was describing what was later became known as liquidity traps and the power of long term expectations. Predicting imminent collapse that always requires the ever receding future to make it potentially true is not very helpful, Mr. Kunstler. And just for the record–definitionally, you can’t have a depression with lower prices and price inflation at the same time. You could have stagflation, but that is a different creature.

The reality is that no one really has a clear idea of what is going on at the moment and how it is playing out. We are in trouble, but money and debt are zeros and ones, important in the virtual world, but in the real world? The main path of influence is supposed to be through interest rates, and we are at the zero bound here. Interest rates are having little influence right now. Are you seeing inflationary expectations rising? Here, check it out …. https://www.clevelandfed.org/our-research/indicators-and-data/inflation-expectations.aspx. Who does the US government owe its debt to? Its own people for the most part. How will it pay for it? It could ask rich folks who have made out like bandits with mind-boggling increases in wealth to give it back to help those in need (so higher taxes and lower subsidies for the rich). And guess what? I think they will give it back if those rich folks are stymied in their efforts to say that it is “Unamerican” to tax the wealthy. Tax the rents!!! Tax the extra money those rich folks made over and above what was needed to bring those resources they are using initially into economic activity. It is because we all agree that money does, and sorry, the lack of inflation tells us so–and it has been like that for years.

Finally, the government can print bonds which people are willing to hold onto at near zero or occasionally sub zero rates of return! Please understand that I am very sympathetic with your ideas, but fixation on debt and oil is not helpful if you refuse to look at dynamic elements like changing economic trade-offs and how they affect economic decision making. The fundamental question is what is happening in the real world–we are raping the planet a little less, now producing less goods than we used to with heavier unemployment, and our lives are simpler; in fact, many of the things you predicted are coming to pass, though not in the way you expected, and it is very unclear that this is the beginning of the end, the end of the beginning, or another challenge that this country will rise to meet.

    • SoftStarLight July 28, 2020 at 2:19 am #

Hmmm, I searched desperately for that series of claims regarding Garrett Foster but I only came up with two sentences.

“In Austin Saturday night, one feckless BLM mob marcher name of Garrett Foster brought his AK-47 to the street party. When he pointed it at a motorist trapped by the crowd, he got blown away to that great struggle session in the sky, the surprise of his life, I’m sure.”

I’m not grasping what is so objectionable so please do illuminate. Garrett Foster was in fact a BLM supporter and marcher and he was walking around with an AK-47. Feckless means careless and irresponsible. Why walk around with an AK-47? Do you do that on a normal day? Why do that when you are allegedly peacefully protesting systemic oppression and violence? When he decided to point it at a motorist the motorist shot him. BLM marchers have tried to assassinate several motorists around the country at this point. Police will not and have not been present when BLM attempts these assassinations so citizens have to protect themselves. Are you in fact suggesting that everyday citizens do not have the right to defend themselves from BLM? I haven’t seen a photo of Jessica Whitaker’s shooter either. Can you post it? She was shot dead by a BLM supporter simply for saying All Lives Matter. Never got near the attention this one is getting. Of course.

      • abcdef August 1, 2020 at 1:58 am #

        Hi SoftStarLight
I would urge you to read catharsis’ views on this issue. He did it very well.
As for walking around with an AK-47, many here would be completely unfazed if a patriot was carrying an AR-15 at a Tea Party demonstration, or a demonstration of the right to bear arms. If one is OK to do, why is the other not OK to do? And as for defending oneself, doesn’t this work both ways? If catharsis is correct, the driver attacked Mr. Foster whilst Mr Foster was NOT wielding his weapon in a threatening manner. Unless you want to claim that just having a weapon on his person near the driver was enough to allow the driver to shoot Mr. Foster. Is that what you are saying? If so, we have now entered the stage where BLM folks have open license to kill folks approaching them with weapons. That seems a little extreme to me, especially as there is NO evidence that Mr. Foster broke fire discipline.

        ===========

I was at Sheppard on TDY (temporary duty) attending Accounting and Finance Officer School. I didn’t know SAFB was a SAC base. I thought the base’s mission was to run all sorts of schools.

I graduated college in 1962 so your parents are about 1 year younger. While at SAFB I was 22 y/o so JoNan would have been 20 or 21. I do remember that she had a B-Day in the Spring of 1963 and I bought her a jewelry box for a present. She eventually married and had a daughter who I believe would be in her early to mid 50s as we speak. Ask your folks if by any chance they knew JoNan.

I have several little anecdotes about my brief stint at SAFB but I don’t want to bore the other readers here.

        • cc rider July 28, 2020 at 1:55 pm #

SAFB might have become a SAC Base a year or so after you were there. It wasn’t SAC for very long because the Air Force decided to make it a NATO fighter pilot training school in the late 60s or early 70s. I think the AFB in Abilene became the SAC Base at that point. But I don’t know for sure.

Your old girlfriend JoNan’s daughter would be my age, give or take a year or two.

I bet some of your anecdotes take place down on Scott St downtown? Lol… I know that Airmen were warned by the Base to NOT go there in the 70s and 80s.

Have you ever heard tell of “The curate’s egg”?

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curate%27s_egg

A “curate’s egg” is something partly bad, partly good. In its original usage, it referred to something that is obviously and entirely bad, but is described out of politeness as nonetheless having good features that redeem it.[1] This meaning has been largely supplanted by its less ironic modern usage, which refers to something that is in fact an indeterminate mix of good and bad,[2][3] possibly with a preponderance of bad qualities.[4]

Most ironic of all, reading this snip, we learn that (truly) even the term “a curate’s egg” has been debased in its usage.

Before I read the article, I thought getting rid of him could not be a good idea.

I am now entirely in favor of it.

The swell-headed fool is, on one hand, a libertarian (i.e., an incorrigible doofus) yet on the other hand declares himself in favor of reparations.

Surely it is impossible to bring these two positions into agreement.

But this is the nub of it, no?This is the whole problem today. Souless, unashamed, self-serving corruption. Because no one with even just the minimum of intellgence required to advance to such a position could fail to see the contradition. So there is nothing for it but to admit that this man, in fact, like all the rest in power today, believes in nothing except what lines his own pockets.

    • Sredni Vashtar July 28, 2020 at 12:33 pm #

Libertarians should be marching with Anarchists under the black flag, the Jolly Roger of Communism, Islam, and Piracy. Yet instead they are admitted into the ranks of Patriots and it stinks to high heaven. Or conversely, Anarchists should be marching with them. Instead they march with Communists and are destined to be purged in the second revolution (the kill shot) at the latest.

      • Kim July 28, 2020 at 8:35 pm #

Of course. This is exactly what happened to the Anarchists in Spain once the commies no longer had any use for them. Bullets to the head for everyone.

I happen to be reading about it now. I was interested to learn that for the supply of his guns, tanks and planes, Stalin required the Republicans (Abraham Lincoln Brigade and all) to pay in full and to pay in gold. So the Republicans stripped the national savings in a scheme intended to enslave themselves to communism – or, better said, to the clique that runs it.

Maybe Daddy Warbucks wasn’t based on Paul Warburg at all, but on Stalin. They had similar moustaches.

I think that the big new movie in the US is “Greyhound” about a North Atlantic US destroyer battling German u-boats attacking Lend-Lease convoys to Britain in WWII. Meanwhile, in China, they’re showing the Chinese people the 1950’s propaganda classic move Shang Ganling ???about the patriot war (“Resist America Aid Korea” ????) against the Americans during the Korea War.

Hmm. Have they cast any negroes or sub-continentral Indians as members of the U-boat crews? If not, why not? Racism?

I have seen man a modern BBC documentary with things like casting a Pakistani in the role of Henry II.

And modern video games and tv shows recreating anything from the Battle of Hastings to the Charge of the Light Brigade are all now firmly multicultural.

I now look forward to seeing Hollywood casting an Idi Amin look-alike as Mussolini. With the number of sub-Saharans now in Italy, that may not in fact be too far off anyway.

Nadler has started his tirade against Barr at the beginning of the House Judiciary Committee, citing “systemic racism” (?) and using the Justice dept. to “flood cities with federal agents against the wishes of the state and local leaders”.

The locals and states are creating chaos. They want the civil war to dissociate themselves from the Federal government, they are Democrats. Until they are treated like the traitors they are, it will just continue. Start building prisons to house them, or banish them elsewhere. There is no longer compromise possible.

  57. Doc Holliday July 28, 2020 at 11:20 am #

Doc Holliday, do you ever find any Civil War relics laying around?

Question, above, by Back Row Heckler.
Lived in Richmond ‘area’ for over 40 years, and I metal detect, and I take many photos of what I have found. If someone can instruct me how to ‘cut and paste’ or ‘attach’ a photo in the comments section, I could show you some neat stuff.
‘Back in the Day’ when my peers and I were in grade school (60s) in certain areas, after a major thunderstorm (AKA ‘gulley rusher’), one could find bullets, shot, and a rare cannon related shell in the culverts near the major battlefields. Friends told me, when they were kids, that after certain atmospheric events, particularly Hurricanes, they could fill their pockets. “Laying around” is about out of the question these days. Neither the Federal government, Virginia state government, nor the county governments will allow metal detecting on state nor park properties. Of course, currently, no one obeys the law so I supposed I could go where ever I like. However, I am not trespasser. I am, however, not afraid to ask people that I have a ‘connection’ with, to, respectfully, metal detect on their properties. And I am persistant enough to be able to dig a ‘hit’, and replace the surface so no one could tell that I was there. I have always found being respectful goes a long way. As a side note, I have found respect cannot be demanded, it must be earned….

Doc Holliday, do you remember the gentleman in Chester, VA who was known for removing the powder from civil war cannon balls to make them safe? I lived about a half mile from him. Something went wrong on one such endeavor and the resultant explosion killed him. A house a quarter of a mile away had the front door destroyed from a piece of shrapnel. The explosion heard at my house was deafening. It gave me a lot of insight into the Civil War. It was no picnic. A tragic story that shows even if you know what you are doing, sometimes things go wrong. That poor guy was the most recent casualty of the Civil War.

This is a link to a 3+ hour session of front line practicing physicians,
exposing the fear and panic surrounding the scamdemic.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKbQbcInHnA

Many excellent presentations, but I recommend paying particular note to the segment from minute 56:30 to 1:05:00, in its entirety, provided by a practicing child psychiatrist.

    Some excerpts:

“The state of our children is abysmal.”

“The pandemic, in my mind, is not so much a medical pandemic; it’s an emotional pandemic, and this emotional pandemic is based on, and centered around, fear. The fear is real, but it is not based on reality. I have tried to provide facts, data, statistics, information to my
patients and their parents for weeks, and months. Some of them do
listen, some of them do change their minds, because they believe that there is probably more going on than what they’re being told, and that what they’re being told is probably not entirely accurate. A lot of it is lies, a lot of it is misinformation.

But, very many of my parents and children don’t respond to information.

    I’m a big proponent of facts, I’m a big proponent of information, I’m a
big proponent of science. I’m a physician, that’s how I was trained.

But I also know that, unless we deal with this fear, and we take it and
face it, head on…information will not be of use. You cannot use
information, no matter how accurate it is, unless you’re in a calm state of mind.

Anybody who’s worked in the military knows this: when you’re in a state of panic, when you’re terrorized and you’re traumatized, you cannot think clearly. Most of the adults in my practice with children coming in for treatment are in that state; they are not responsive to information. They are allowing fear to drive their decisions.”

“The children are suffering; in my view this is child abuse. We are
training an entire generation of children to live in a state of fear. To
    live in fear of people.”

“Why is this happening? Why are we living in this state of fear, this
pandemic of fear? My belief is that there has been an unholy alliance
made between certain politicians, certain media, and special interest
    groups.”

[Paraphrase: One of the largest special interest groups is the teachers unions and in the state of California it is THE largest…the largest financial contributor to the Governor, to the county, to the city]

“..and they have effectively told parents that if you send your kids
back to school, the moment that they cross the threshold, they will die. And before they die, they will kill all the teachers. This is not an
error, this is not naive, this is a lie. It is a cynical, manipulative
lie, to hold the children hostage, for personal gain. It is evil.

We made a mistake, in March, as a country. The single biggest mistake in my view which was to close our schools. Without schools open, nobody can work. And when nobody can work, we don’t have an economy. And without an economy, we have a country of dependency. We have a country where we do not have the right or the capacity to exercise choice. And this choice can be from whether to work or to go to school, all the way down to what
direction we walk at our local supermarket.”

Pray for this man’s soul. – Sredni

      ===========

Back in the old days (and even today, I guess) suicide was a mortal sin and you would go straight to Hell unless there was a last second act of contrition.

You have asked commenters here to “pray for this man’s soul” presumably because this Prof held beliefs similar to your own. Had his beliefs been the opposite of what they were I’m guessing you would have allowed his soul to go to Hell without a plea to the Almighty that He change his rules temporarily in this special case.

And WHAT, one wonders, is the nature of a prayer for someone’s soul? What are the words that you silently utter to the Creator?

In my own case, when I hear of someone dying ‘before their time’ especially in the case of suicide, I don’t literally PRAY for their soul but rather I do what was requested by the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office: to “Please keep his friends and loved ones in your thoughts.” I do this automatically with no one needing to ask me. Two examples would be the suicide deaths of David Foster Wallace in 2008 and Robin Williams more recently.

Wasn’t it bad enough that they were so depressed and miserable (who knew?) that they would go to the extent of killing themselves? But no. You would assume they were destined for an eternity in the fires of Hell unless the prayers of the living got them a pass.

Or is this ‘prayer’ thing merely metaphorical?

      • Sredni Vashtar July 28, 2020 at 3:58 pm #

Yes, suicide is held to be a mortal sin. Like Messi, I find eternal hell to be incompatible with the idea of a truly loving God. We are not alone. It is a secret, hidden current in Christianity, that bubbled to the surface more in the East.

I’m disappointed you missed out my time with the Co-op, delivering milk to people’s doorsteps during unsocial hours. It was character forming… And paid pretty well compared to the alternatives at the time.

BTW, I just dropped by to mention that I gave you the wrong link to Dr Hernandez’ paper the last time I was here. Right author, wrong paper. The one I linked to was a review of current evidence (which he described as ‘weak and conflicting’). The paper I meant to link to concerned his team’s trials specifically regarding prophylaxis, but it appears the results are not yet published. My apologies for the error. I’m sure you didn’t read the paper anyway (if you had you presumably would have noticed) but I wouldn’t want it on my conscience just the same.

          Here’s another one instead:

          https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMc2023617?query=recirc_curatedRelated_article

Its limitations are acknowledged by the authors in the paper itself, as well as mentioned by correspondents (whose comments are available beside it), whose responses are then responded to in turn by the author(s). This is how science works, even as we know it certainly doesn’t work perfectly.

There are apparently around 200 trials in progress around the world, concerning HCQ in various formats, dosages and combinations. About 60 of these are specifically looking at potential prophylaxis. So evidence is being collected, which takes time (longer with potential prophylaxis than with treatment). As I’ve already said several times, some of it (done properly, using RCTs), may show something positive. People without agendas can generally wait it out before declaring miracle cures or preventives.

Physicians, in the meantime, may continue to follow their own clinical judgement, based on experience and evidence, which they seem to be doing, from reports of people saying what they’ve done and how they think it’s worked.

It’s in the quiet conversations in places where people give a damn and will vote their conscience. As Captain Renault said in Casablanca…”We musn’t underestimate “American blundering”. I was with them when they “blundered” into Berlin in 1918.”.

Something else too. All this talk about Antifa, BLM, etc. Nobody seems to be paying attention to a demographic that will be very important in the coming months, and they are all about family, security, and prosperity. Here is an old clip from the 1970’s, but quite timely today::

    Good points, my friend.

One question I have … in Portland who’s responsibility is it to protect public property, city, state or, federal? I always thought it would be the PPD, but Mayor Wheeler stated previously he would not deploy his cops to defend the federal CH. So why wouldn’t the Governor step up and send State Troopers into the city? Why is it up to the feds in what should be a state or city matter? It does appear to some of us that the mayor and the Governor, indeed the entire political establishment in Oregon, support the mob, support the rabble in the streets.

A quick google search says ‘The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service’ are responsible for Federal property, but responsiblility and accountability seem to be two different things.

I am not a US citizen and certainly we have our own issues along these lines in Canada, but at some point when are people and institutions held accountable? It seems like the media stands back and does nothing. Hard to believe any american citizen with reasonable intelligence is unable to see that Trump is the only one stepping up and trying to protect these buildings, despite what those same citizens might think about him as a sitting President.
      Just saw this news release:

World Revolution tried this in Argentina and Chile. But each time the Black Block showed up, actual protesters left. They refused to provide cover for the revolutionaries. But Americans are like you: confused and defiant, lacking in real decency. Thus it’s working this time.

    • Rupert July 29, 2020 at 1:19 pm #

Just so. To call the logistics arm of the Antifa black bloc ‘peaceful’ is to call the logistics portions of the military industrial complex ‘peaceful’, or any other logistics or fundraising arm connected to a violent faction.

But we are far beyond the realm of truth or the rule of law. Special exemptions by prosecutors, the corporates, media, etc exist for these groups which makes one wonder what the true purpose could be.

Surely the elite don’t want actual anarcho-communism, so I assume they’re a catspaw for some actual agenda.

SV: Jam’s replies to Briggs. Spot on in my opinion.

Briggs, I’d disagree with you on one point, and I do think it’s important.

“The AP, like our dear leaders, uses the term “cases” as if they were cases, i.e. illness requiring treatment. When what these foolish people mean is infections, symptomatic or not, past or present. It is medical malpractice to mix the two up.”

This is actually partly incorrect. There is no such thing as an asymptomatic infection. Infection means virus replication and cell death which HAS to cause pain (symptoms). If there are mild symptoms, then there could be infection, but no symptoms means no infection. Asymptomatic infection is similar to freezing hot or soaking dry.

This has huge implications. The testing method, RT-PCR has major flaws as a diagnostic tool. There are many ways the test can be compromised and give false positives. Too long to discuss here, but the false positive rate could be as high as 50%. This skews the numbers and inflames the panic even more.

As I saw someone comment in another article, this virus is so bad and so deadly, you have to go and get tested to find out if you even have it.

If the election even happens in November will it be our last one? The outcome of the election either way will likely be disbelieved and discounted by a significant portion of the population. Has the intent, meaning, and purpose of the election already been nullified anyway given that for the most part, the institutional and political Left have openly endorsed and promoted violence and force as appropriate means to their ends? It’s clear after the whole Barr hearing that many members of the House of Representatives don’t even believe any American government should exist at all other than to protect their personal “moral” projects. So why do the same people who hate this country with every fiber of their being even pretend anymore that they are trying to do something decent for the people of this country? Ah, so that is why so many of these people are disavowing that pretense altogether now!? I remember. BLM says it’s ok to burn the system down. That’s what they say too now and that’s what they are doing too. All on time, in schedule, and as planned. So do you really believe there aren’t election “plans”? Google will even beg to differ with you, at least quietly, should you say no. Their plan is in action now and is helping to nullify the meaning and impact of your vote if you happen not to be an ardent supporter of the Corporatist Communst Cancel Crew. If Barr and Trump won’t stop them then they are QUADCs too.

Do Black lives matter? Do Black lives matter even to Blacks? Yes, I know, cops disproportionately pick on young and not so young Black men, Blacks have been subject to outrageous treatment. This isn’t in dispute, it’s well documented, it’s right under everyone’s nose.

But bad behavior doesn’t start and end with White people, especially White men, and it’s like I think Jesse Jackson said many years ago, White racists don’t make fifteen year old Black girls get pregnant.

When will Black kids start doing better in school? And when will predominantly Black schools get their shit together? The answer is simple; when Black parents start giving a shit. It ain’t rocket science.

When young Black men stop gunning one another down, it will look a whole lot more that Black lives matter to Blacks. Speech, dress, deportment, personal behavior and living habits, these are things that matter. How you conduct yourself tells people around you whether your life matters to you, and whether the lives of your compadres matter. So, do Black lives matter? They have it in their power, Blacks have got a full range of intellectual and moral faculties., so when Blacks start acting like their lives matter, they will matter.

Not Fucking Around? Really? These NFAC dickheads are doing precisely what they say they’re not and besides, they’re exerting themselves mightily to entrench the power and wealth of that pernicious coterie of multi-billionaires running things.

And these witless, twinky-dink offspring of well-off White parents out shouting and shaking their fists in this orgy of virtue-signalling make me laugh.Do Black lives matter to them? Do they even know any Blacks? No, Black lives don’t matter to them any more than climate change matters. Will they ever give up any of their comforts for the sake of the environment or for the sake of the afflicted? No, their answer will be their parents’ answer: “but we worked for all this.” No, actions tell the story and the posturing by these White people means exactly this, screw Blacks, screw Hispanics, nuke the whales, we don’t give a shit.

      Good to see you again.

Black Lives Matter is a threat. They do not want equality. They do not want to assimilate and succeed in this country. They want a conversion to their way of thinking, dependency, matriarchy and fatherless family units. Chicago! They want Chicago to be the mores and folkways for this country.

Two, they want what the wealthy folks have. They want their controlled government to give them stuff, they have never felt the need to earn what they have. Since emancipation, they have never worked within the system, always crying to the government to give them stuff. The Black leadership have lived on this forever. The Whites, the Liberals, used the Blacks to be part of their power base since LBJ.

The nanny state whites are the worst. They feel they have to take care of the poor Black folks. Guilt over slavery? Slightly maybe? Power? We help you, we better than you are. Poor little Black folks, we need to take care of you.

      BS!

This is very far afield, but I suspect the increasingly collapsian signs of the times partly explain the growing interest in ‘flat-earth’ theories, simply because such theories allow continued hope for a world that is infinite in extent.

If the world is flat and can extend limitlessly in all directions, there need never be a reckoning where the earth becomes overfull and exhausted, and where mass-bribery-through-growth (really the only route to social order that Modernity understands, besides brute coercion) must suddenly fail. Instead, we simply explore a bit further into flatland, and presto! New land, ready for the colonizing.

Compare this to the round-earth, which features both a stingily restricted land-area to work with, and a vaguely nightmarish mode of confinement where you simply keep returning to where you started no matter how hard you try to get away. What are you supposed to do if things really go sour—head to “space”? (Nice try, Elon.)

There is a hint of *fallenness* about the round-earth also. Tolkien intuited this; in his writings he envisioned the curvature of the present earth as a spatial trick by which the Gods could obscure their own undying realms (Valinor) from jealous, marauding humans, who had proven themselves unworthy. Once the “rounding” of the earth was complete, only Gods and Elves retained the ability to sail the “Straight Way” to reach Valinor.

Even if the flat earth does envision a finite amount of land, with sheer edges at its limits, in a way even the possibility of “falling off” these edges holds a romance & fascination superior to that of space travel. If life becomes too dismal on the flat-earth after powerdown/boogaloo, escape is a simple matter of leaping off the edge and taking one’s chances with the ethereal spaces beyond—whereas a round earth offers only a desperate grind in the mud, caged by gravity with no exit, until the inevitable arrives.

Ah, wishful thinking: the most powerful force in human affairs.

      • Sredni Vashtar July 30, 2020 at 11:52 am #

An interesting meditation. The Numenoreans finally became angered by this occlusion and exclusion, figured out where Valinor was, and set out to conquer it. In response, Valinor called upon the One and the world was changed. And Numenor was no more.

Read the Space Trilogy of C.S Lewis. Outer Space can be an extension of inner space.

        • sevensec August 1, 2020 at 6:17 pm #

Thanks. Having read the Silmarillion practically during another Age of the Earth, my memory of it is beyond dusty. Sadly I doubt I could even tell a Sindar from a Maiar at this point. But the story of how the world became round through a sort of Einsteinian space-warp—itself arguably a kind of geometric fallenness or relativism—that always stayed with me.

Funny that you mention Lewis and the Trilogy, as I am halfway through Screwtape and on a lark had just uploaded “That Hideous Strength”. Of course that will have to wait its turn since I have many other books on the docket.

As an aside, I just noticed that my last post’s URL ends in ‘6666’. I have had a spate of 666’s appear lately, whether getting $6.66 in change at the store on the night the Floyd riots broke out, or finding myself parked next to cars with that particular numeric combination.

Of course it is as dangerous to over-interpret such things as to ignore them. Still it’s safe to say: *Synchronicity never sleeps*.

Did we ever figure out why the Americans and the Chinese had been collaborating on Gain-of-Function bat coronavirus research?

“ Meanwhile scientists in Britain began their own atomic effort. The “Directorate of Tube Alloys” pushed forward along lines that paralleled those of the Americans. The work succeeded well enough that Churchill, at the time of his June 1942 visit to Washington, had to decide whether to move from research to production. It was a big step, one he wasn’t sure Britain could handle—at least not alone. He raised the matter with Roosevelt on June 20 at Hyde Park. “Our talks took place after luncheon, in a tiny little room which juts out on the ground floor,” Churchill remembered. “The room was dark and shaded from the sun,” but it was still, from an English point of view, oppressively warm. “My two American friends”—Hopkins sat in—“did not seem to mind the intense heat.” Churchill explained the progress British scientists had made, and how they were convinced a bomb by war’s end was feasible. Roosevelt responded that American scientists were proceeding well, too. Churchill proposed an Anglo-American collaboration. “I strongly urged that we should at once pool all our information, work together on equal terms, and share the results, if any, equally between us.” Roosevelt accepted Churchill’s offer.”

Meso-American societies sacrificed children, sometimes hundreds at a time, no doubt aimed to placate or propitiate whatever belief held about cosmic spiritual order.

Today, America’s political Left (not “liberal” in Western Enlightenment sense) is conducting similar sacrifice of youth, but rather than with blunt or sharp physical means this slaughter is psycho/social savagery.

Black kids are indoctrinated with BLM dogma that acculturation to 21st Century Western educational/social/political advantages deprives them of ennobling African authenticity. So, rather than compelling reasoned assimilation toward full realization of individual potential they are ruthlessly recruited much like the child soldiers of Rwanda during that nation’s internecine tribal warfare horrors, and now injuncted to repeat that disaster here.

White kids are being damaged not less with constant shaming of their Western Cultural heritage, harangued to atone alleged “white privilege” by deferring to any demand for “reparations”, whether personal or collective?

On personal basis, “Pay back” abuse by Blacks (no matter how heinous would be judged if served by Whites) to be born stoically as auto self-flagellation?

Convenient for the Left’s drive for “proportionality” between Western society’s alleged guilt and demanded atonement, accounting indices for measuring “White privilege” are margins manipulated moment to moment by strategic shifting of its “victimology” narrative.

Accordingly, no metric minting individuality is allowed. leaving only generalized blocks redrawn to whatever is convenient to the Left’s Utopian equivalent to the Biblical “Rapture” of heaven on earth.

For White kids, tattooed on their psyche is damaging blame for,…uh, what?: Number of fatherless Black households? The abysmally lower academic performance by Black students — compared to all other ethnicities? The level of Black on Black violence? The disproportionate Black incarcerations and prison population (far beyond any calculus of “bad cops”, etc.)?

Implicit is condescending acceptance of criminal and uncivil behavior by Blacks, including obstreperous disrespect toward figures of institutional authority, whether that of teachers or law enforcement (again, the calculus).

“White guilt” becomes even more nebulous on matters of…well, IQ differences. intellectual inquisitiveness. Incentive toward educational goals. Capability toward reasoned introspection for drawing conclusions re behavior and subsequent outcome.

Oh yeah, I forgot; according to the Leftist calculation individuality is verboten. Its fancied heaven on earth is to be a human perfectibility of angelic uniformity.

Essentially, White youth face an equivalency (though secular) to ancient Catholicism’s “Stigmata”, historically portrayed in art as saintly assumption of Christ’s suffering on the cross?

The resulting onus is to succumb to the pathological notion that all earthly grievances pivot upon “Whiteness”, redeemable only by a weird form of narcissistic self-inflicted suffering?

This “cross” is absent the ecstatic smile and glint of moist eyes rolled beatifically heavenly (common imagery in religious art). Instead, given the stigma of being “White” (apostasy against the prevailing secular “Rapture”) yields more the sense of being pilloried psychologically.

Rogan decries the existence of Israel. He realizes that he was lied to as a kid a la the little ditty: A land without a people for a people without a land.

See how destructive all this ideological morality is to regular people? Fools rush in where angels fear to tread. Would he have his people forced at gunpoint to leave as the Jews did to the Palestinians? With our help – to our eternal shame?

We did the same thing to the Indians. We needed it, we wanted it, we took it. No need, cause, or right to self righteousness over the Jews – or them over us (sorry gang, that’s so over with). We both saw an apple we liked and we did take.

Besides, it they have to leave Israel, where do you think they’ll go? Here most likely. What a disaster that would be all over again.

As St Paul said, the wisdom of the world is foolishness to the wise, and the wisdom of the wise is foolishness to the world. Far easier to be an Orthodox Monk who never bathes and sleeps in a coffin than to try and unscramble these disparate threads and weave something out of it.

I’ve gotten Messianic Druid to try and he makes a mess, saying we had no right to come to America and take it from the Indians – so much for revering his ancestors and nation. And that we should have gone somewhere else – as if all the good land isn’t already taken all over the world.

To have a Theocracy of all one Nation of Believers, that’s been done and it works. But add in Liberalism and non-believers and things get very difficult very quickly. Add in ethnic alien non believers, and things get completely impossible immediately.

We tried to make ammends later, but nothing can ever salve the wound of what we did to the Indians. No amount of flat screen TV’s or welfare. They’re allied with BLM and want us gone. Of course their treaties are with us, not the Blacks or Hispanics. They’re not thinking very clearlly. The Elite behind BLM and Antifa want all pure races blended. The pure bloods are proud of it and won’t want this. Huge conflict for them with us no longer around to protect them.

Obviously you don’t practice diciplined objectivity in sourcing historical material. There was no composit “we” when it came to European settlement (conquest, if you insist) of America. It was a swarm diverse in many other respects pushed and oportunistically migrating out of Europe under period economic forces which is a specialized subject area. The “force come to shove” was a default necessity to curb Native American’s savage resistance to the inevitable Europeanization. I’ll repeat what I asked on another post: Do you believe that had the “Indians” had superior numbers, had been better weaponized, and practiced tactics different from that accustomed in tribal skermishes, there would be today reservations for European settlers?

      • Sredni Vashtar July 29, 2020 at 6:37 pm #

Sorry, I missed that earlier post of yours. I think you’ve got me all wrong: I’m glad we conquered and dispossessed them. Such is the way of the world. You seem to be holding onto some nice guy stuff with your “there was no we”. Shades of Walt’s “get off my lawn” patriotism. That’s all just sophistry. We worked together to crush them. If we hadn’t, they would have won as you indicate, stone age weapons and all.

Jamestown started pushing around the locals, and the locals sent out runners who sent out runner and within a week there were a thousand warriors outside the stockade. There were no Libertarians behind the stockade. They were up against the “Powhattan Cofederacy” and would be many years and lives before they bested them. Disease had not decimated the local Algonquins as it had in New England.

My moral here and above is a cry for honesty in our necessary brutality. Same thing in old Jamestown: endless twaddle about Christianity when it was a settlement devoted to making money for a long time. There were some efforts to convert the Indians but that ended after an attack that killed about one third of the White Men.

Motives, visions, expectations, beliefs, asperations, notions of reality, provintial origen and all other aspects of identity weren’t an amalgom in any sense of a “we” (none of the vague continuity that springs up in twitter post in a single day now). The continuous floods of immigrants sprawling across the continent was more like a hemorrhage without a tuniquet, Bordered inclosure was never proposed as policy simply because of the obvious fact of enforcement impossibility. “Conquest” in milatary sense was the only default option.

Quit ascribing abstract morality as driving history, correct understanding of history derives only from examining it in terms of innate social animal behavior.

“ I’ve gotten Messianic Druid to try and he makes a mess, saying we had no right to come to America and take it from the Indians – so much for revering his ancestors and nation. And that we should have gone somewhere else – as if all the good land isn’t already taken all over the world.”

There is an error contained in your first sentence [ actually eight ] concerning what I have said, believed, thought, defended, so your misrepresentation is forgiven.

As the Owner of what He created, and being responsible for its management, care, profitability and preservation He allocates land according to His will and Law. Earlier Stewards of what some call “ the United States “ have treaties which must be honored, and many of them are prospering.

“This land was made for you and me” – whose song is this?

Of course you aren’t going to tell me what those eight errors are, right?

Those treaties were forced on them, thus they will repudiate them if given the ability and if they think they can get more land.

The Indians had to be defeated and driven off the best land if the United States was to BE. Yet instead of revering the Conquerors who bequeathed to you this legacy, you throw darts at them – and thus by extension, your self. For they gave you all that you have in human terms, did they not?

      • messianicdruid July 29, 2020 at 8:56 pm #

        1. Neither “Messianic”,
        2. nor “Druid” are capitalized,
        3. Its one word – messianicdruid.
        4. I did not “try” before.
        5. I did not make a “mess” before.
        6. I never said we had no right, in fact, I said it was commanded [ be fruitful, multiply, take dominion ].
        7. “Indians” was/is a mistake of geography.
        8. My ancestors are honored, respected and forgiven for far fewer shortcomings than I have.

Compared to many other cultures we were a generous people but now much worn down from a century of economic pillage by our alleged brethren, hidden by accomplices and rightly hated by self-governing freedom lovers.

This land was preserved practically pristine, by excellent stewards to become the home of am-el-ri-ca [ kingdom or rulership of god ], which was promised to Abraham and his children. The “right” to occupy is as real as that given to Joshua and Caleb to occupy the lands of the Amorites, Moabites, Canaanites etc.

All [ whosoever will ] are invited to be grafted into this kingdom when they have the desire to have the Law written on their hearts, becoming citizens with blessings and responsibilities. All my blessings are become yours.

The adversary knows all this and acts according to his nature, sowing discord through lies, fears, greeds and jealousies.

Don’t feel bad. No one does. Satan is the King of the World as Christ said. Perhaps he was the inspiration for parts of the Old Testament as Marcion and many of the Gnostics indicated. Not all of it of course, though Marcion may have thought as much. Christ obviously loved at least parts of the Scripture.

          https://www.sciencealert.com/an-invisible-quantum-dot-tattoo-is-being-suggested-to-id-vaccinated-kids

For the people overseeing nationwide vaccination initiatives in developing countries, keeping track of who had which vaccination and when can be a tough task.

But researchers from MIT might have a solution: they’ve created an ink that can be safely embedded in the skin alongside the vaccine itself, and it’s only visible using a special smartphone camera app and filter.

In other words, they’ve found a covert way to embed the record of a vaccination directly in a patient’s skin rather than documenting it electronically or on paper – and their low-risk tracking system could greatly simplify the process of maintaining accurate vaccine records, especially on a larger scale.

“In areas where paper vaccination cards are often lost or do not exist at all, and electronic databases are unheard of, this technology could enable the rapid and anonymous detection of patient vaccination history to ensure that every child is vaccinated,” researcher Kevin McHugh said in a statement.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded the team’s research, which was published in the journal Science Translational Medicine on Wednesday.

According to a Scientific American story, the project came about following a direct request from Microsoft founder Bill Gates himself, who has been personally involved in efforts to eradicate polio and measles through vaccinations.

Races differ in their psychological profiles. Perhaps life hasn’t told you that, but scientists claims that it is in fact so.

            https://psychology.iresearchnet.com/counseling-psychology/multicultural-counseling/black-psychology/

“Black psychology is an emerging discipline broadly defined as an evolving system of knowledge concerning elements of human nature, specifically study of the experience and behavior of people of African descent (Black populations)…”

So perhaps racial personality differences do exist. Black reseachers claim to think so.

Of course, it would be too much to expect research in the area of personaility studies to always produce flattering results:

            https://www.amren.com/news/2008/08/race_and_psycho/

“During the 65 or so years following its publication, the MMPI [Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory] has been administered to a great many groups. Mean scores have been published by different investigators for a number of samples of blacks, whites, Asian-Americans, Hispanics and American Indians. All of these studies show a consistent pattern: Blacks and Indians have the highest psychopathic scores. Hispanics come next followed by whites. Ethnic Japanese and Chinese have the lowest scores. The same rank order of racial groups is found for all the expressions of psychopathic personality listed by the American Psychiatric Association, and these differences are found in both children and adults.

In Hartford, Peaceful Community Member not happy the day rent was due, beheaded hIs landlord with a machete. The landlord, a white retired insurance executive, had a soft spot apparently for oppressed minorities and was always willing to lend a helping hand. No names need be mentioned; the swordsman is now safely locked up in the Wesson St. jail in the North Meadows. Nobody seems too surprised by this remarkable event — a beheading after all — it only garnered a small article in the local paper … why needlessly frighten whitey in the burbs, specially at a time when a bill in the state legislature was just passed making it harder for police to arrest criminal Community Members, and easier for esteemed Community Members to commit crimes with impunity.

The success of the information suppression-and-distortion is pretty amazing. Despite all we know, he let a black guy into his house as a tenant. That was most likely going to end in 1. loss of money 2. associated costs 3. violence.

      We all know that.

It is like a white woman bringing a black man into her house. Likely outcomes: physical abuse, bills, debts, loss of money (they like the women to pay for them), public fighting, stolen property, abuse of the already-present children, involvement in crimes, drug use, pregnancy and abandonment, possibly even, at the lowest level, sexual slavery.

We might wonder how the victim in this case could think that it would be acceptable to rent to and live in the same house with a black tenant. How could he not have been aware of the dangers?

He appears to have been a square who worked his whole life in a very square and responsible job (insurance) and must have had excellent math skills as he was a professional bridge player. You would expect that he would have a very good understanding of statistics, odds, and risk. However, perhaps

      – he did not normally associate with blacks
      – the news he was exposed to concealed from him the reality of endemic black-on-white violent crime
      – the news had conditioned him to guiltily reject any ideas that might come into his head as a result of noticing and drawing conclusions in his daily life the behavior around him of the few blacks he met or saw in his world
      – no blacks in his work or social circles
      – possibly suffered from the tendency of whites to feel more empathy for others
      – may have been greedy – so perhaps his desire to rent his room killed him – but could that make him so fecklessly switch off his alertness to danger? Perhaps.

Anyway, now that Biden et al are going to bring back Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing, we can expect the 700,000 felonies that blacks currently inflict on whites each year in the USA to rocket even higher.

Maybe once all whites involuntarily have to live with the blacks – as this fool chose to do – they will wake up and start to resist the plan to make them live in black-created dystopias.

Yeah, the white women you see hooked up with black dudes — mostly in Section 8 housing — are invariably overweight, like the flabby, tatted females at Antifa riots. One major diff tho is with the Antifa broads, they’re sporting weird eyeglasses and purple/pink hair, the Section 8 broads are not. Sometimes in the projects white women bring their white children from a previous life … you see them amidst the squalor. You turn away, afraid for the little ones.

Most often this does not end well.

This is very scary how much absolute power that tech companies are amassing. Did you get a chance to see Tucker interview Jim Jordan regarding the reigning in of big tech? Back in the stone age when the Dems still had labor and the little guy as their core base, before grifters and corporate takeover, the Dems would warn of the pernicious effect of big money on the political process.

They were right about that and about the need to bust up trusts and other such accumulations of power which acquired their own gravity.

Garrett Foster is the guy who was blown away btw. The guy who shot him said that Foster pointed his rifle right at him in his vehicle and so he shot him in self defense. This was happening in the context of the driver’s car being surrounded by protestors. Foster’s mom says the shooter just got out of his car and shot Garrett three times more or less unprovoked. But it looks like he did point the rifle at the driver ulimately and that the driver shot one fatal shot. Apparently several shots were fired at the driver too by other “protestors” as he drove off but they missed.

As often is the case K-Dog speaks as an authority not knowing that he is full of shit. I am in Austin and this whole notion that Foster “had is gun down” is nonsense. Yes, at first it was down. Then he raised it up in a threatening manner as he got up to the car. From what I’m hearing here in town the APD has some evidence of this, but they are keeping it close to the vest right now.

    A calendar:

    Elegant Ladies of Antifa or,

    SJW Sweethearts of Seattle

    Triggly Puff — Miss January!

then, Feb thru Dec, classic photos of 250 lbs heifers in black T shirts, flabby arms, faces full of hate and indignation, weird eyeglasses, purple hair … in various action poses: tossing molotov cocktails at cops, flipping the middle finger to cops, burning buildings, smashing windows in local businesses, posing the revolutionary salute (raised fists), flying the red flag, giving fanatical speeches, stopping traffic on the freeway and sometimes getting mowed down by trucks and so on.

    IOW, real classy broads.

How many copies do you think the Calendar would sell?

It is my opinion that Walter White was based on the real life mensa-member, convicted cartel methamphetamine chemist, and insane thallium posion murderer, George Trepal.

Trepal is still on death row today, I believe, for having attempted to kill his neighbors (succeeded in killing the father) by poisoning because he was annoyed by the music of their teenage children.

Trepal and White are quite similar in apperance in many photos.

There was an episode of “Forensic Files” on this killing.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Two people are dead after a shooting in Lexington.

Police say it happened Tuesday afternoon at the Thorntons at the intersection of Broadway and Loudon.

According to police, an officer was already at the gas station when an argument started between 26-year-old Angel D. Marcum and 54-year-old Antoine James.

When the officer went outside to check it out, shots were fired inside an SUV in the parking lot.

Police say Marcum was in the driver’s seat and James was in the passenger seat. Police say James shot Marcum before turning the gun on himself.

Both were taken to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

She leaves behind two white sons, Jayden (age 10) and Adrian (age 2).

WELLINGTON, Kan. (KAKE) – Police have identified the victim and suspect in a deadly shooting in Wellington earlier this week.

Jail records show Walter Edward Taylor III was booked for first-degree murder in Wednesday’s shooting death of 31-year-old Travis Schneider.

Police Chief Tracy Health said a car and pickup were heading west on 16th Street when the 20-year-old suspect, who was in the car, allegedly shot the victim who was driving the pickup. Schneider died at the scene.

GARDEN RIDGE, Texas – Police are searching for the man who shot and killed a 40-year-old woman early Wednesday at a convenience store.

According to Garden Ridge police, the suspect walked into the EZ Mart in the 19500 block of FM 3009 around 3 a.m., with a gun.

The man, who is described as a black male in his 20s or 30s, was seen wearing a black shirt, dark pants and a red bandanna face covering.

Once inside, police say the man shot the woman and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, along with lottery tickets.

The woman, identified as 40-year-old Pollyanna Smotherman, was pronounced deceased this morning.

      • Kim July 30, 2020 at 9:26 pm #

Just to be clear, the first murder was a black man on white woman murder-suicide. These are common.

The second is a young black man simply randomly shooting a white man driving by in his car. No reason for it at all. Again, not anywhere near as rare as one might hope.

The third is a convenience store robbery “gone wrong”. Why did the black robber shoot the 40 year old white female employee? Was she an evil “Karen”? No, no good reason. He was caught on video as he left the store with his Fauci-mask down.

I could usually produce a list like this twice a week. Sometimes more often. Often with multiple victims. The black-on-white murder rate in the USA is something incredible. But it is never reported on a national level.

It was reported that Koko understood approximately 2,000 words of spoken English, in addition to the signs.[7]”

    • Kim July 30, 2020 at 9:46 pm #

During WW2, the ACLU supported internment for Japanese-Americans.

And the Chinese have been thrown out – bloodily – from many countries. They are a very ethnocentric people and – apparently they can’t help it – will invariably work against the interests of their host nation and in favor of their own people.

I wish whites were more like them in that respect but it can make for bad blood.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sangley_Rebellion

In 1603 – …When Dasmariñas led a force of Spaniards to try to apprehend the Chinese, he and his men were all killed by the Chinese[4] who mounted the Spanish heads they chopped off throughout Manila.[5][self-published source]

The rebellion was then quelled by the Spaniards, together with the support of Filipinos and the Japanese in the settlement of Dilao.[1] The Japanese especially showed no mercy in the repression. Altogether 20,000 Chinese were killed.[2]

In 1639, the Spanish carried out another massacre, killing 24,000 Chinese.

The Chinese have been expelled so many times over centuries – for blatant political and economic subversion – from various places in South East Asia it would take all day to list the cases. In recent times I could mention the Malaya Emergency – begining the in the late 1940s – and the 1965 massacres in Indonesia.

The Chinese are having similar problems now in Africa.

      https://www.rsis.edu.sg/rsis-publication/rsis/co15049-anti-china-sentiment-in-africa-why-are-they-unwelcomed/

And, there is really no irony in it, it is just natural, there has long been plenty of anti-African animosity in China too.

Lucifer was the comet Venus which wrecked havoc on Earth several times, including the time of the Exodus from Egypt. Venus under various names was worshiped as God by various ancient peoples, and in fact when the TaNaKh speaks of the messenger or “angel” Michael it is referring to Venus.

Since then, the orbit of Venus stabilized and no one cares about Venus/Lucifer except ignorant Vatican saps. Your boy Seth Rogan might be one of these Vatican Luciferian anti-Jew saps.

If you don’t give the Devil his due, you won’t survive in this world. Real pacifists can’t call the cops after all – that’s just putting the sin on someone else, a professional warrior of the state in this case. The Amish and the Mennonites admit this and pray for the State. They know they couldn’t make it on their own.

The Shakers were so anti-Satan that they wouldn’t even have sexual intercourse. Strangely enough they died out, leaving some nice furniture and hymns as their legacy.

When you vote, you’re endorsing the State, which only exists by having a visible, credible monopoly on violence. Thus voting is a violent act. If you are voting for a true pacifist – who will defund the police, well ok, You are canceling yourself out and attempting to do so for others as well. Someone you didn’t vote for will step in should your candidate win – and he or they will be the new, real power.

One must somehow work with the means of Satan without becoming a little Satan. Not easily done.

    • akmofo July 30, 2020 at 12:38 pm #

Violence is not evil. Not doing violence to evil people is evil.

What “Satan” did is make people prideful and ignorant to what evil is. Thus people are Satan whether they wish it or not. In your case, you don’t mind it at all. And for that you will pay with extinction.

      • Sredni Vashtar July 30, 2020 at 12:40 pm #

True, but it’s like fire. Anger is a fire that easily get out of control. The Greatest Warriors can fight without anger. It only gets in the way. But ordinary people cannot fight without it – and thus the danger of unrighteousness is very real.

        • Bobby Brown July 30, 2020 at 6:16 pm #

It’s not anger, it’s emotional content. A good fighter does not fight angry, it’s too easy to be manipulated. Anger clouds your judgement. Anger is a false source of power. A good fighter goes to that ancient place and sees through you. He doesn’t react. He intercepts.

Be warned Sneaky Pete’s south of the border…breaking news….

“Canada has announced new restrictions against Americans entering the country in an attempt to crack down on the so-called “Alaska loophole.”

The Canada-U.S. land border has been closed to non-essential traffic since March 21, but Americans have still been allowed through if they are driving through Canada to get to Alaska for an essential purpose such as working or returning home.

This has led to cases where Americans have seemingly told border officers that they will be driving on to Alaska, but then vacationed in Canada instead.
Starting Friday, foreigners entering Canada en route to Alaska must do so at one of five approved border crossings: North Portal in Saskatchewan, Coutts in Alberta, or Abbotsford-Huntingdon, Kingsgate or Osoyoos in B.C.

Additionally, CBSA said, anyone travelling through Canada will only be allowed to stay in the country for a “reasonable period” of time, will be required to take the most direct route possible, and will have to report back to Canadian border officers before entering Alaska. They will not be allowed to visit any leisure or tourism sites, get food from any source other than a drive-thru, or pay for gas in any way other than at the pump.

These pass-through visitors will also be given a “hang tag” to attach to their vehicle’s rear-view mirror, to make them easily identifiable. The tag will include the date by which they must leave Canada.

Hammond is in the Chicago Metro Area, but these casualties will not show up in Chicago stats for the month of July.

In pretty little Oxford, Ct today 16 yo arrested for murdering a 14 yo, dumping his body on the side of the road. Killer and victim appear to be from nearby Bridgeport.

Why do I mention this? Well, the above victims and assailants are black. The country is on fire over racism and ‘specially a nebulous ‘police brutality’ charges but it occurs to me there is a lot more wrong with ‘The Community’ than police brutality.

The entire story is as upside down as can be imagined. There is not a word of truth or a moment of perspective in a single story on the MSM. And there is a hell of a lot of suppression of stories.

Imagine if there were a weekly network tv show, perhaps called “Murder Weekly”, that provided a weekly summary of the murders occurring around the country each week. (Would 40 minutes be enough?)

The video market for True Crime coverage is huge. There are many channels devoted to it. Such a show would rate off the charts.

But it would also be quite a political pickle.

A lot of such shows have recently been cancelled and restricted (some cities no longer allow “First 48” to film in their area), and not because they are unpopular and don’t rate.

      https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/live-pd-host-dan-abrams-show-coming-back-after-pulled-from-air

A&E recently made the decision to stop airing “Live PD,” a reality show following on-duty police officers, in the wake of George Floyd’s death while in police custody. Floyd’s death has sparked protests around the globe in opposition to police brutality against black people.

Similarly, Paramount Network pulled “Cops” from its air and later canceled the show altogether.

And The Guardian doesn’t like those kinds of shows either. I wonder why not.

Reality TV show The First 48 thrives off America’s racist justice system

Apparently, these shows promote too much noticing and conlusion-drawing.

A lot of people are worried about covid. They are so worried that they are keeping all these restrictions in place and keeping businesses and schools closed for safety. Yes, it’s good to be safe. So President Trump is right about delaying the election. If we can’t go back to what used to be normal because its not safe then we can’t safely have an election. And a mail in election will be very dangerous because mail is dirty and germy if you think about it and would probably cause a surge in cases that could again overwhelm the hospitals and put front line workers at risk. Let’s delay the election until there is no covid anymore. What a smart and safe and responsible thing to do to keep us safe and healthy!

If these spoiled brat Democrats were in the white house I very much doubt they and THEIR lying media would be pushing the line that we all have to sit around at home for years until there’s a cure not taking part in any economic activity. Even the desire to keep the schools closed is to punish Trump because they know it hurts the less well to do who now have ABSOLUTELY NO CHILD CARE while they go to work. Without the schools the parents are going to have to fork over a kings ransom every month to send their kids to hang around other kids all day in some child care arrangement with absolutely no pretense at learning where they will just get infected same as if they were still in school. No, we all need to get back to work, the only thing that makes sense is shutting down bars and cinemas. There’s still going to be some job loss, but these venues really are low hanging fruit that are quite infectious spreading and would reduce the spread.

As an aside, after we were all supposed to be sitting at home for a month, why were there still cases by late April? Wouldn’t putting everyone on their own “Gilligan’s Island” in late March have ended this thing? Unless people were just treating this whole thing as one big Spring Break and still “hanging out.” So this crap didn’t even work other than killing the economy.
