The mind-numbing weirdness of Joe Biden’s insertion into the election of 2020 — like the furtive groping of an intern in a cloakroom — only signals the Democratic Party’s reckless drive to self-destruction, dragging the republic over the edge of an abyss with it. How did this hollowed-out figure of a grifting old pol find himself pretending to national leadership, and in an historic moment of crisis that goes far beyond the mere wrecking of an election? Who wanted him there so badly, and why?

My guess would be Barack Obama, Hillary and Bill Clinton, and John Brennan anxious to stay out of prison, heading a long list of officials present and former who committed crimes trying desperately to protect them, with accessories aplenty across the aisle. That’s what this four-year coup has been about, snowballing criminality, culminating in an orgy of blatant ballot fraud. At this fraught stage of the drama, they’re hiding behind the pretense that all the old rituals of torch-passing must be observed for the sake of decorum, and they’re mistaken.

The Biden family’s moneygrubbing exploits in foreign lands had already been revealed in the previous act of sedition, the ridiculous impeachment attempt. In that episode, it was well-established in the public record that Hunter Biden grifted more than a million dollars out of the Ukrainian gas company, Burisma, and that his father had stupidly bragged on tape about covering for him. Yet William Barr’s DOJ was already in the possession of Hunter’s laptop, chock full of evidence that Hunter was raking in way more millions from other countries, and that the loot was being distributed to his relatives. Why did they keep that from the president’s lawyers with Mr. Trump in jeopardy of being railroaded for asking Ukraine’s president to have a look at it? Would Mr. Barr say they were protecting an ongoing investigation by keeping it all secret? What a lame excuse, under the circumstances.

Just as impeachment concluded in failure, Mr. Biden got smoked in the early primaries, only to triumph mysteriously in the March Super Tuesday voting. After all, a primary is the party’s own election, and they can engineer it however they want. So, they contrived to elevate someone already criminally culpable in the mind of any citizen paying attention and capable of adding two-and-two to get four. Weird, a little bit?

But then Super Tuesday segued right into the Covid-19 virus crisis, with all the destruction to livelihoods and interruptions of normal life that ensued, and the lingering odor of the Hunter Biden story wafted away in the bleak spring zephyrs. Only to return in the fall, because the fellow who ran the computer shop where Hunter B foolishly abandoned his laptop — one John Paul Mac Isaac — became annoyed that the FBI seemed to be ignoring it, and gave a copy of the hard-drive to Rudy Giuliani, who examined its contents closely and went public with it — quite a trove of evidence, with an added frosting of selfie porn photographs showing Hunter enjoying sex and drugs. You know the rest, with the news and social media striving to bury all of it for two weeks before the election.

So, the Biden family must be strongly motivated to finish the burial by getting into the White House, installing an attorney general who will lower that casket of turpitude into a grave, and whistle the back-hoes to fill it in. And while they’re at it, dig a few more holes in the ground to bury the treasonous activities of the Clintons and Barack Obama in matters that might be labeled “Uranium One,” “Skolkovo,” “Hillary’s Emails,” “the Iran Deal,” “Fusion GPS,” “John Brennan’s 2017 IC Report,” “the Mueller Investigation,” and more. Donald Trump had to be prevented from winning a second term at all costs, lest that burden of rot get spewed into any actual courtrooms like so much spoiled lunchmeat.

The trouble is, Mr. Trump actually does have the evidence, and he intends to use it after four years of being remorselessly fucked around by his antagonists. So, the nation is at the point in this long, winding drama that has become a fight to the death and there will be no rituals of torch-passing just to keep up appearances that everything is functioning normally. Mr. Trump has the evidence of widespread, yes widespread, ballot fraud. He is the president, after all, and he has all the information. As he’s said more than once, he’s caught them all. And they know it.

Of course, the CIA and the FBI, those pillars of the Intel Community, are still trying to withhold what they can, but the president is not having it. He’s taking away the CIA’s most precious asset: its resources for making mischief on-the-ground — its airplane fleet and its armaments, handing them over to the Pentagon — reducing the CIA to the simple task of analyzing signals from the world scene. And so, the CIA has been refusing to cooperate with the Director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, as a last gasp to preserve its long-running illicit prerogatives. That will eventually trigger the president’s invocation of the 2018 Executive order 13848, allowing, at long last, the arrest and prosecution of many desperate characters who tried to run away with the US Government.

But probably not before the last legal avenues have been traveled: Sidney Powell’s case against the Dominion vote system in the Supreme Court, a long-shot like all the other cases that the court is loath to touch; and the business of the alternate electoral college slates to be hashed out in the House on January 6, Vice-President Mike Pence, presiding. Democrats and their coastal elite supporters are not going to like it. If they call out their Antifa troops, those feckless weenies with their hoisted cell phones and stupid umbrellas are going to be crushed this time, not indulged like three-year-olds.

The wild-card all of a sudden is what the nation will also do about the foreign actors reportedly messing around with the government’s most critical computer systems. China? Iran? Russia? They’re a match for America’s own domestic enemies, who must be neutralized first before we’re capable of dealing with outsiders. The gyre widens.

Yeah Ben, but I’ll bet in the course of the day a few surfers will show up. They are a hardy bunch.

Friendly too. We’d stop there to watch them sometimes, me and my little nephew. It was a cool vibe all around.

It’s in kind of a rural area, RI South Shore — Matunuck was once an artist colony. You just park on the side of the road and walk up over a dune; suddenly, there’s the cold Atlantic.

benr, speaking of clueless, I came across this young man’s tweet:

NY has 25% more current Covid hospitalizations per capita than FL and NY is worse than FL in every other cumulative and current Covid-related metric

FL is almost completely open and normal

NY is very much closed and irrational

Nobody I talk to in NYC knows that data, nobody
      https://twitter.com/TheEliKlein/status/1338649408943108096?s=20

From looking at the rest of his Twitter feed, it does not appear to me that he could be construed as a “denier” or “anti-vaxxer” anything, just someone honestly looking at the best way to handle a pandemic.

From what I’m seeing and hearing personally, this lack of information is quite common. Can people be blamed for not knowing the facts, when they believe they are learning the facts?

Governor DeSantis is being badgered by the MSM over a White House report which is critical of his handling of the virus, yet he is doing better than the people praised by those who generate those reports.

I cannot understand why the president is allowing this.

      • rainmaker December 18, 2020 at 10:00 am #

People don’t want any facts. Thinking is too hard.

            “yup public education does that”

Trading fossil fuels on the basis of what’s called ‘supply and demand‘, not on the basis they are one-off and finite – is what to blame for this mess.

Shame, humans worked out mass extraction of finite fossil fuels before they develop ethically, morally and rationally-enough to not burn fossil fuels to waste.

Now, we understand that whatever junk-education was built with fossil fuels – will never produce a fraction of useful energy compared to all the energy burned.

            Wailing.

        • Ron Anselmo December 18, 2020 at 1:16 pm #

Right on Rainmaker. Their reasoning, and the fact is, thinking is hard. So, they’d rather just let others do it for them.

      • benr December 18, 2020 at 10:23 am #

There is a scientific reason New York is worse than Florida.
Less UV light reaches the sidewalks as a result of building shadows and now with winter in the sun does not reach higher points in the sky.
Florida will still fry you without sunscreen and will deactivate the virus.
Really has nothing to do with anything governors are doing or not doing.
Plus New York sucks and Florida is pretty cool!

        • Beryl of Oyl December 18, 2020 at 10:27 am #

What DeSantis is not doing is ordering “restrictions” and masks.

        • Sean Coleman December 18, 2020 at 11:36 am #

If NY is worse than FL it is almost certainly down to testing and manipulation of statistics. In some places they give a patient a test and then put it down as an admission when he was in hospital all along. Generous financial incentives are also available in various countries for have corona patients. The test is meaningless anyway for a long list of reasons.

I think NY was one of the states and countries that had a short but sharp spike in overall mortality in Mid-April. (Others include France, GB, Belgium, French and It. speaking Switzerland and Brazil.) That would have been caused mainly by the treatment: anti-virals, respirators and above all HCQ. WHO ran a study around the world in three versions: Discovery, Recovery and Solidarity. The Recovery trial took in the countries I mentioned and patients were given lethal doses of HCQ, probably through WHO mixing it up with another drug called hydroyquinoline, which is prescribed in larger quantities.

Doctors quickly realized they were killing their patients and stopped. A couple of studies appeared in the New England Journal and The Lancet showing that those treated with HCQ were twice as likely to die. They were withdrawn amid claims over the unavailability of the raw data. Many in France, where flamboyant long-haired Prof Didier Raoult promoted it as a cheap wonder drug, claim there was a conspiracy: Big Pharma had come up with hoax papers in order to discredit the cheap and effective HCQ because it threatened their profits. The stuff of course is lethal over limited doses and has been advocated for use in euthanasia.

The whole ‘Covid’ thing is a tragi-comedy. it has everything: a virus that has not been isolated and even if it ever is it is unlikely to be the cause of Covid19 (because the disease itself is not distinctive in any way and likely imaginary): a useless test (not standardized, is not based on an isolated virus but just on guesswork); misdiagnosis; official deceit; media frenzy and deceit; and conspiracy (from French patriots to David Icke to those who blame China).

          • Sean Coleman December 18, 2020 at 12:12 pm #

Oh, let’s just add the following.

Not only do many who are positive for the test not have the disease but many of those who had the disease in China and Italy showed negative in the test (I heard 30 and 50%).

About 70% of the tests are based on Prof Christian Drosten’s group’s test which was rushed out on 21 January 2020, a couple of days before the first clinical information about ‘Covid19’ was released by China. This test is based on an educated guess about what SARS1 was (assuming that the new Covid2 virus was similar). Drosten was honoured by the German govt for being the joint discoverer of the SARS1 virus. He holds not one but two professorial chairs, not having fulfilled the usual teaching requirement and these are funded by a giant trust associated with BMW. I has been reckoned that he was at the front of the queue, or very close, in the discovery of nine killer viruses. The paperwork for the Covid test shows all the signs of being a rush job.

the story of Drosten’s missing dpctoral thesis is a comedy gem. It turned up after 17 years under suspicious circumstances. There had been a flood, you see, and all the copies were too damaged to be lent out, and so on and so forth.

An EU report in April reported more than a hundred antibody tests and 78 PCRs, none standardized, practically none saying what exactly they were based on, They can use varying degrees of cycling. Over 35 or so and it is meaningless. Some were in the 50s. Kary Mullis, PCR inventor, said that it was not suitable for mass testing but rather should just be a diangoistic tool. (I am put in mind of 7th C Muslim hordes brandishing the Koran.)

Even if the test were 99% specific (unlikely) then at low rates of infection half the positives must be false. And large numbers of tests will throw up large numbers of ‘cases’ for the moronic media to trumpet.

I hear the new vaccine has not been properly tested. Very few vaccines are but this is going far beyond that. From listening to the Germans it appears that the drug companies are being careful to distance themselves from liability for any side-effects and govts may be insisting they will not be mandatory for the same reason (although life will be made very difficult fort hose who do not want to be guinea pigs, seeing as the guinea pig stage has been skipped this time “because of the emergency”).

The comparison with AIDS is striking. Here a wonder drug, AZT, was rushed into service because the disease was so terrible. It was their only hope. Those who refused to take it survived but those who took it died. Well, it seemed to work well in vitreo. Not so good in vivo.

I forgot Muillis’s story about the time he was renewing a funding application for one of his labs. First sentence: HIV is the probably cause of AIDS. Now where do I find a paper to support this. After months asking anyone who was an authority in the illness and getting shoulder shrugs and evasive replies he reaches the conclusion: Nobody knows! They don’t know! I’d hate to be out on the end of the branch with those guys! Thee is an excellent video on Bitchute where he tells the story.

Sean Coleman, it is my understanding that these injections cannot be forced on you, according to the Nuremberg Code. We cannot be forced to take any medical procedure, nor can we be penalized for refusal. This was reinforced by the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights of 2005. Please sue your employers if they try this bullshit. Sue the airlines and anyone else who denies you service. You may not be penalized for refusing to act as a human guinea pig.

          • Yohannon December 18, 2020 at 5:46 pm #

Brazil just ruled that it can be forced on its people. And if it isn’t? Well the “American Way” would not be to force it, just forbid you from going into any public building or private establishment. And if said establishment allowed you to come in, they’d lose their license. So you are free – to die. Ain’t America great?

Elysian Field, the no shirt, no shoes, no service is not quite the same thing as forcing you to take an experimental vaccine. Experimenting on humans is exactly the thing that the Nuremberg code was written to address, and they can’t say it isn’t experimental when long term effects are unknown. Even effects on a fetus in utero is completely unknown, as no pregnant women were included in their trials. This vaccine doesn’t even work in the same fashion as previous vaccines, but is a totally new technology. I read that as many as 40% of health care workers are refusing it.

Trump was savaged for not doing enough about the Corona virus early on – even as his opponents were still in favor of direct flights for Wuhan to New York. Wanting to get reelected and feeling unable to fight the media about something so fundamental, Trump gave in and went with it – even as he retweeted sceptics from the medical community. So he knew better, but in the end he bowed to them, remaining quiet as Fauci took the platform and Birx rolled her eyes at him on national TV. Then he tried to surpass them with “Project Warp Speed – a hysterical and shameful exercise in coercion and duplicity. Again, he knew better. He should have fought this tooth and nail. This is a very black mark against him.

I just got blamed via Facebook for killing someone’s relative, who died in December, due to the president’s “slow response” in March.
The president was on this in January, but even if he had not been, I don’t know how you make that leap.

I actually wanted to call out this person for her hateful stupidity. This is what we’ve become.

          • Yohannon December 18, 2020 at 12:18 pm #

He said, Stop the testing. And then when faced with a savage response, backed off, said he was joking. He’s almost always right when goes with his gut. But when can he do now? He gave them a huge head start. If he says anything now, people will then ask why he kept silent all this time.

Glen Beck used to have a show where he would teach about the Conspiracy in front of a board using a marker. There’s a place for that. I can’t see Trump doing it. The other night he seemed uncomfortable with the chart he had, and his camera man wouldn’t even zoom in on it. But Beck did a good job, though he doesn’t do this anymore. Jimmy Carter used to do it a bit as well. Nixon could too.

Not the ones who die from the vaccine…. looks like it’s having lots of adverse affects. Trump must know this because the Pentagon announced that it would not make vaccines mandatory for military personnel. That’s pretty huge, but barely got a nod in the media (natch). So they are willing to sacrifice medical personnel but not military….

      • abbybwood December 19, 2020 at 12:51 am #

Why is the President allowing an experimental mRNA bioengineered “vaccine” to be rolled out onto an unsuspecting public? When 99% of the public can catch Covid-19 and survive, especially with now known therapeutics like Ivermectin, Zinc, D3, erythromycin and C as, for all intents and purposes is a CURE especially with early diagnosis?? And Ivermectin is known to be SAFE after decades and is cheap!?

These vaccines have bioengineered patents which means that once the mRNA proteins invade the persons DNA genomes they will likely remain forever and the body’s own “natural” immune system may turn on those proteins causing severe auto-immune disorders, cancers, nervous disorders etc. And once the persons own DNA genomes have done an uptake on the mRNA patented “vaccine”, will the patent holder then “own” that person like so many Monsanto fields of corn fought over in courts with local “organic” farmers who want to keep their corn “old school” and private?!

I have now heard several bioethicists explaining that it makes zero sense to roll out these “experimental” (because they are) “vaccines” within eight months, to millions world-wide without the prerequisite animal testing and a 10-15 year period studying the “long term side effects” of these mRNA “vaccines”. 10-15 years plus animal testing is the gold standard for proving any vaccine to be “safe”.

These are clearly “experimental vaccines” and now Big Pharma and The Bill And Melinda Gates Foundation believes all of humanity ARE the “animal testing” they, oops! skipped.

Zero liability for Big Pharma has been baked into this mRNA experimental cake.

        No. Thank. You.

It is no wonder 40% of nurses are refusing the jabs (2).

        Me included.

Hey Jim. I think you’re not giving the ‘Democratic Party’ enough credit — They’re almost certainly backed by the larger Deep State infrastructure. And I don’t think that larger infrastructure will allow itself to be taken down by the mere legal means you’re hoping for. They’ll just change the game with another virus or internet pandemic. …I know you’re ‘allergic to conspiracies’ but there definitely seems to be something larger than these Democratic Party vs Trump issues going on here.

This country is divided in half right now. The Deep State wants the power to run the country from the Potomac, exclusively from DC. They believe in central control. Their worst enemy is the US Constitution and you better believe they will be attacking it and trying to replace it with something allowing federal control by a Uniparty system. They want their useless jobs to continue and eventually take away the last challenge, the efficacy of the vote. The very obvious cheating of the last election and its coverup is indicative of how far they will go.

BTW, The RINOS have destroyed their own party by joining the Dems.

        • abbybwood December 19, 2020 at 2:15 am #

Here is a funny thing about The D.C. Deep State “Swamp”.

There IS a way to effectively drain a swamp. Takes some big time engineers etc.

They would have to have some great high-tech equipment to analyze the depth, width and the various dangerous creatures lurking within it.

But there IS a definite way to drain that swamp and to remove the scum currently ruling it.

Once a swamp is drained, a miraculous thing can happen though!

New life that is fruitful can be cultivated in that rich, boggy area with the best farmers we have chiming in.

          There. Is. Hope.

    • JohnAZ December 18, 2020 at 11:35 am #

      Agree 100%.

The Deep State has absorbed probably 50% of the former GOP. Their motivation is simple to explain, preservation of the DC oligarchy, in other words, their jobs and social order.

Saying it is the Democratic Party alone minimizes the problem. Trump was against the Swamp, the Deep State. His worst enemies were the RINO jerks that cheated, lied, and conveyed info to the Democrats to destroy Trump. And there were hundreds of them including most of his cabinet and advisors. He needed folks he could trust and instead inherited all the snakes in the Deep State.

I believe that is the problem with bringing an outsider, non-politician into the presidency. He looks around for staff and the only thing available are Deep Staters. When he gets advice on manning, it comes from Deep Staters. Talk about having a Fox in the henhouse! Everyone of his appointments stabbed him in the back when they found out they could not dissuade his desire to rip down their evil empire. They eventually have outnumbered him, both with election fraud cover-ups and just plain numbers. One mistake he made, Yohannon, was to count on the Black population to support him because of his improvement of their lot. The Blacks turned out to be the same group of gimmes protecting their welfare state. Too bad, they are going to lose the advances they made under Trump to the tax and spend folks. The gimme class is going to expand, we need to get those food stamps back up to 70 million.

Jimmy Carter was another outsider who instead of using the Deep State folks, brought in the Georgia mafia. He was badly treated by the Deep State, being booted in favor of Reagan, an anathema to the Deep State.

Heard an interview today with a journalist who is studying the current upheaval in the organization because some woman who founded BLM in 2011? has declared herself to be The Executive Director overseeing the hundreds of millions of dollars that have flown in without consulting with all the local chapters who organized all the looting, burning, death and general mayhem since George Floyd died from Covid 19, an overdose of Fentanyl with an assist from a cops knee on his upper back/neck for ten minutes.

These chapters are now demanding their piece of the action.

IMHO, the most important fact that Mr. Kunstler notes is the removal of air fleets and armaments from the CIA by Trump. That is one of the big reasons why they killed JFK, he was going to bring down the CIA (and get us out of Vietnam and remove the Federal Reserve, he had the Treasury Dept issuing silver certificates). Now notice that the Pentagon has abruptly stoped briefing Biden ( https://www.zerohedge.com/political/abrupt-halt-bidens-pentagon-transition-briefings-leaves-officials-stunned )

This tells me that the SHTF in the very near future. Hope Trump has some seriously good protection. Can you imagine the reaction across the US from the Democratic Party/BLM/Deep State if mass arrests are about to ensue under martial law? Not sure if this would qualify as Civil War, but COVID fatalities could quickly become secondary to gunshot wounds.

          • SW December 18, 2020 at 12:19 pm #

I’m not sure where you’re getting your statistics but that number seems highly inflated. The problem from the beginning has been how deaths are recorded — if a person tests positive to covid (and there’s no way to know if they’re false positive) and then die within 28 days, it’s recorded as a covid death.

            https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/deaths

And there’s nothing new about ICUs being full. I started as a nurse in ICU and we were always full but there were no TV cameras or cries of impending doom.

          • UN OUT OF USA December 18, 2020 at 5:08 pm #

My local hospitals are doing fine. They are NOT anywhere near being at capacity. That is fake news. And yet, TOTAL DEATHS in the US have not increased over past years. Care to explain why? How about because the fraudsters are now counting gunshot deaths and and traffic accident deaths and cancer deaths, etc. as covid “deaths”. That lowers the death rates from all those other categories when they are fraudulently added into the covid death column. Net net, zero change in total deaths. Get a clue and stop the MSM nonsense of this hoax. Also stop fretting about “cases” of covid increasing. So what?!? A case isn’t the same as having a deadly disease. A case simply means a person tested “positive”. That doesn’t mean they have the deadly virus. It simply means the test revealed they have some anti-bodies. BFD if the person doesn’t get sick!

          • draupnir December 18, 2020 at 5:35 pm #

This is the busy season for hospitals, and ICUs are not built to sit about unused. Full occupancy is encouraged and preferred. Looking at actuarial tables, the rate of death has not changed dramatically. Most of those people dying of COVID were expected to die of something or another in any case.

          • MaryV December 20, 2020 at 11:35 am #

Not true at all. Friend who’s wife works in the ER in a Los Angeles county hospital says it’s empty. Saw 20+ posts where I live saying same… ‘we went in for a cut finger, no one was there, nurses dithered when asked how many people have been admitted… etc.” and if you want non-anecdotal info, just go here: https://protect-public.hhs.gov/pages/hospital-capacity

Covid19 – if it even ever existed – flattened in June, just like it did everywhere else. Propaganda and fake ‘tests’ that return a 97% false positive, have been used to keep the fear and hysteria and stupidity alive.

Speaking of the Covid-19 pandemic, I happened to see an article today on the Daily Mail about a United Airlines flight starting in Orlando, FL destined for Los Angeles this past Monday.

Seems a man boarding the flight (with his wife), was having serious symptoms of shortness of breath and was profusely sweating. He, according to the eyewitness testimonies of many other passengers, looked like death warmed over.

But because he had filled out a questionnaire saying he was in good health and had no Covid-19 symptoms the MORONS at United Airlines allowed him to board the flight with 179! other passengers.

A few minutes into the flight he was obviously in some state of cardiac arrest so the “medics” on the flight tried to do CPR on him and the flight was diverted to New Orleans where he was taken to a local hospital and was pronounced dead. I am SURE those “medics” had full PPE protection! Want to talk about a Clusterfuck?!

So, did United Airlines, in the middle of a pandemic take all the passengers off and put them up in swank hotels with room service for 10 days for quarantine and testing (they quickly knew the man was Covid positive)??

No! The SAME CONTAMINATED plane left New Orleans and flew to Los Angeles for these passengers to go on their merry ways to God only knows where! Hollywood? Paris? Munich? Barcelona? Who the ef knows!

THIS is how seriously this pandemic is being treated.

NONE of the passengers had temperature checks prior to boarding. This alone would have stopped the critically ill man (his wife said he had been sick for a week!) from boarding!

One would assume (ass of u and me, right?) that Congress would have implemented national standards for passing a Covid check before even ENTERING an airport let alone before boarding a sardine can with 179 people, with useless masks on, for a five hour flight!

This story reeks and United Airlines better be lawyering up right about five days ago:

More and more people I know, who were previously of the “Snowden is a traitor” mindset, have changed their minds in light of new evidence.

The president has already stated that he talked with his staff about this man, and whether they thought a pardon was warranted.

Sometimes his (President Trump’s) seemingly offhand remarks have much deeper meaning than appears on the surface.

shotho, you are so wrong its embarrassing. Trump’s biggest option is the military. Specifically SpecOps which now report to Chris Miller (ex-SpecOps himself) instead of going thru the Pentagon DS hacks. There is a very good reason why Trump fired Esper as SecDef with less than 2 months to go in his current term. Why would he do that? He knew the election was going to be (temporarily) stolen. He knew the courts, including SCOTUS, are corrupt and would not make things right. Hence his Dec 2018 EO and his more recent ones….along with making the SecDef change. He wouldn’t do that if it wasn’t a serious backup plan. Buckle up cupcake, its going to get “real” pretty soon (early January is my guess, but it could be sooner). The patriots, the Oath Keepers, the silent majority have simply had enough. We are NOT going to roll over and allow this sham election to end our Republic. We are NOT RINO’s. Remember the mob in Judea at the time was comprised of many different ethnic groups that Jews were only part of. The common poor Hebrew saw Christ’s message as the answer to the corruption of the Jewish leadership. The mob calling for his execution was comprised of folks of all types, with typical mob blood lust. The Sanhedrin had to kill Jesus to stop the revolution going on inside the religious corruption of the Jews at the time. The Romans were a means to the end. Boy, did they really screw up.

My priest made an interesting point yesterday at mass: If you look at His genealogy, a number of the women were Non-Jews like Ruth and Rahab. And to your point, Galilee especially was an ethnic potpourri.

Well, the MSM has moved way beyond the election, which according to them, is indisputable, and beyond reproach. For example, this morning on GMAC, George Stephanopolous was put out and extremely indignant that a WSJ writer would have the audacity to question the 1st Lady elect — Jill Biden — credentials as a doctor. Well, the nerve! George sprang to her defense. All the sudden, the first lady must be treated with respect. Stepanopolous and the other ABC hosts would not stand for this vicious, unprecedented and wholly mean spirited and unfair attack on DOCTOR Jill Biden, First Lady Elect!

So there it is CFNers, Dem politicians with their sycophant MSM promoters, supporters, and mouthpieces. Is anybody surprised?

jimbo, are you a paid troll or just someone propagandized by the MSM (change channels, Bro!)? Total deaths in the U.S. (and I suspect other countries too) have NOT increased from historic trends. If covid is such a killer, why aren’t our total death counts going up?? If we really have 300,000 new deaths from covid, why didn’t our 2020 total deaths increase by roughly 300,000 from last year? Why is our total death count the same as prior years?? Its because the fraudsters count every death as a covid death. Its a fraud to get you worried and trained to listen to their “advice (mask, social distance, lockdowns, close businesses and now vaccine….but even with the vaccine, they still want you to stay and wear a mask). Open your eyes. Seek other sources for real news. The MSM are lying to all of us. BTW, how many times has Fauci and the WHO change their opinions are the effectiveness of masks???

    “ . . . he’s caught them all. And they know it.”

What could be Trump’s strategy for laying low with so little time until the January 6 election validation in Congress? If he’s got the goods, and they can be irrefutably proven, one would think he would want to get them out there now. I don’t see how time is his friend. He’ll have to mount a vigorous defense of the fraud charges. Unless he has a plan for a big reveal on January 5. That would be in keeping with his mastery of showmanship, but does it help his cause?

Not that it will happen, but if somehow Trump was able to get a do over election the Trump would lose by a much wider margin than he lost the actual election. We all see that right? Do you really think the majority of people would support his use of the military against his own people?

Not to mention just how pathetic and ineffectual Trump has acted since losing the election. If anything the vast majority of the country only sees the petty vindictive buffoon who has put his own personal interests ahead of his country.

The results of a re do election would not be pretty for The Donald. I kinda hope it happens.

If a few [ nay -all ] RINOs are decapitated along with obvious traitors it will serve as a lesson for centuries that Americans will not put up with this. We must set an example to all that follow.

“So the king and Haman went to dine with Queen Esther. And on the second day, at the banquet of wine, the king again said to Esther, “What is your petition, Queen Esther? It shall be granted you. And what is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!”

Then Queen Esther answered and said, “If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request.

For we have been sold, my people and I, to be destroyed, to be killed, and to be annihilated. Had we been sold as male and female slaves, I would have held my tongue, although the enemy could never compensate for the king’s loss.”

So King Ahasuerus answered and said to Queen Esther, “Who is he, and where is he, who would dare presume in his heart to do such a thing?”

And Esther said, “The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!” So Haman was terrified before the king and queen.

Then the king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine and went into the palace garden; but Haman stood before Queen Esther, pleading for his life, for he saw that evil was determined against him by the king. When the king returned from the palace garden to the place of the banquet of wine, Haman had fallen across the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, “Will he also assault the queen while I am in the house?”

As the word left the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face. Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king, “Look! The gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king’s behalf, is standing at the house of Haman.”

Then the king said, “Hang him on it!” So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s wrath subsided.”

            Mordecai, the deplorable.

Forget it! Trump has nothing to counter the fix. There are no trump cards to play. He is a one man show, and in politics this is a dumbass strategic position. He got away with it once because of the witch who split the Dems. No such luck this time. Fox’es Maria Bartimoro supposedly dropped “the mother of all bombshells (according to Andrea Widburg in American Thinker) when she announced that her intel source told her that the deep state knows Trump won the election and something is cooking for the joint session of Congress on the 6th Jan. So, keep on dreaming up new Trump’s masterstrokes. The reality will soon knock, and send Trump travelling to some tax haven that does not have extradition treaty with the U.S. He might lose his Twitter account too, although I think Jack will keep him on because of the huge following and the money it brings. So he might just go on “fact crapping” on Trump’s tweets or banning some of them to keep his hard-core supporters foaming at the mouth.

Here is a major problem of the way things stand now.

We cannot trust our own Intel community, they are pawns of the Deep State. The DS has to have an enemy to support their demands for more and more capital and more taxes.

They say Russia is the source, even using them as the attack on Trump?

Why do the Dems love the Chinese and hate Russia? When the USSR, a legitimate threat, dissolved we promised them help to rebuild their economy. One president later and we reneged on that promise. They are still enemy number one of the MIC sector of the Deep State, mostly because of American distrust from the 1900s.

My statement now is who should be trusted, our compromised Intel community or Russia? Hard question.

Who is the greater threat, Russia or China? Remember who has given the Chinese the know how to contest us militarily, we did.! Dumb!

I wish for once, our “esteemed” Intel group would present data showing exactly were the hackers are operating from. No more just take our word for it.

Just exactly what would you do in Trump’s place to control the spread of the virus. You are so full of BS. Come on, how about a few ideas.

It is scofflaws who ignore the preventive actions put out by a bipartisan group in the spring led by the Veep that have been the cause of the three surges since the spring. It is the people ignoring obvious restrictions to the spread. It is 400 people weddings indoors in NYC. It is super crowded beaches. It is indoor family gatherings with one asymptomatic member showing up. Unfortunately, it is classrooms with kids spreading it around and not even knowing it. We have no clue how much virus in society originates in the schools. We have always acknowledged that schools are hotbeds for flu epidemics, so what makes Covid different. Tell me exactly how Trump could have changed scofflaws?

It is droplet and airborne, both transmitted with different mechanisms. Masks only protect against droplets and airborne indoors contributes the majority of cases. The virulence of the disease seems to follow droplet infection. So common sense about indoor concentrations of folks is a large part of the equation. Tell me exactly how Trump could have affected the reduction of droplet transmission?

I am a proponent of keeping as much open as possible which is just about everything. Call the big three appropriate hygiene, social distancing, masks when distancing is not possible, and washing hands. People need to protect their “safe zones”, their home and maybe car, from fomite contamination.

That is it. If people had just followed these common sense rules in the spring all three surges would have been avoided. Tell me how Trump could have affected people’s attitudes about the rules?

Blaming Trump for this is a sign of your total ignorance of the problem, and of your unmitigated bias regarding the president. Trump cut off the China invasion of the virus, then the European, and was roundly criticized for doing it. He understood from the health care group he assembled that encouraging hygiene rules was the only way to protect the hospital capacities from the explosion of cases as now evidenced in California. He also got from them, primarily Fauci, that the only solution was to expedite the development of a vaccine. He did it. If you listen to the idiots on MSNBC and CNN at the time, it was”just plain impossible” to develop a vaccine in less than five years. Quote, unquote.

Trump has not caused one single new case, or death from any virus.

      People have caused it. Period.

    • MaryV December 20, 2020 at 11:44 am #

So in addition to the other ignorant claims you make, you did not realize that Trump handed the responsibility for dealing with the virus to the individual states – back in March? Why do you even bother?

  15. Charcoal Milkshake December 18, 2020 at 10:57 am #

Man really did hack Trump’s Twitter account by guessing password, ‘maga2020!,’ Dutch prosecutors say

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2020/12/17/dutch-trump-twitter-password-hack/

“Dutch hacker Victor Gevers claims to have logged in to President Trump’s Twitter account six years ago by guessing the password: ‘yourefired.’

“Then he did it again. On Oct. 16, Gevers, 44, made an accurate guess, ‘maga2020!,’ on his fifth try, according to Dutch prosecutors.

“Hacking is a crime in the Netherlands. But on Wednesday, Dutch officials said they would not press charges because Gevers had met the bar for ‘responsible disclosure,’ demonstrating how easy it could be to gain access to the U.S. president’s handle: @realdonaldtrump.

“‘We believe the hacker has actually penetrated Trump’s Twitter account, but has met the criteria that have been developed in case law to go free as an ethical hacker,’ the public prosecutor’s office said in a statement, the Guardian reported.”

I’m not saying the Democrats stole the election.

In fact, no matter what Mr. Kunstler says, there’s no meaningful evidence that they did. Just supposition piled on suspicion, because the modern Republican party rejects the very idea of anyone legitimately opposing them.

I’m just saying, I mean, come on. He has the world’s most visible Twitter account by miles and miles. And he gets hacked twice, by using the two most obvious passwords this side of abc123?

Even if they did steal the election (which they didn’t), aren’t they kind of doing the world a favor on this score alone?

One thing I will agree with you on however. Cyber hacking is entering a new phase. The hacking agencies are driving through for walls Kiev’s hot knife through butter. It is getting serious when the nuclear agencies are getting hacked.

Cyber warfare due to people’s stupid dependence on computers makes regular warfare obsolete. A few keystrokes can destroy a nation’s defense.

No one seems concerned for some reason, at least not enough to do anything about it. As a precursor to out and out war, cyber is critical.

    Code Monkey Z:

Trump is about to make the biggest decision of his presidency. Let me explain.

Julius Caesar was enormously popular and commanding an army of fiercely loyal soldiers. The Roman swamp wanted nothing to do with him and in January 49BC the Roman Senate ordered Julius Caesar to disband his army and return home or become an “Enemy of the State”. Julius Caesar, with the popular support of the Roman populace, and the loyalty of the military, marched his army over the Rubicon river in the North of Italy and became a LEGEND in history.

Donald Trump is enormously popular and commanding an army of fiercely loyal soldiers. The US swamp wants nothing to do with him. Election infrastructure was allegedly attacked and he now has his back to the wall. The courts have failed him. His own political party has failed him.

Trump still has immensely popular support within the US populace, and the fierce loyalty of the military. Trump has EO13848 which allows him to take drastic measures and could potentially be used to restore the Republic.

Does Trump utilize EO13848 and become a LEGEND in history?

    OR

Does Trump submit his family to the mercy of the incoming administration who will be hellbent on making an example of them?

Yoho: Someone said the people writing the report EO13848 report are bickering about whether is foreign interference or not. Why not? Everyone else has failed Trump, why shouldn’t they fail him too? As if there is any question about this anymore to anyone of good will and a modicum of intelligence. Or if failing this, the domestic enemies aren’t more than enough to doom America. He is alone and must decide whether he wants to keep his Oath or not. Caesar decided to go Bigly and make History rather than be a victim of it – and Trump has a much stronger moral position than Caesar ever had. But does he have the same iron nerve? The same sense of destiny? A few short days will tell. Caesar crossed the Rubicon on January 10. I would advise Trump to use the same day, report or no report, and regardless of what the report says.

    • SoftStarLight December 18, 2020 at 12:36 pm #

I saw a report out this morning that the DOD is no longer cooperating with the Biden crime syndicate, I mean “transition team”. His (DJT) enemies have said that he and his family will be jailed. And they (JB) plan on massive gun confiscation under a health emergency order should the usurper be installed. Those who keep oaths have said a usurper can never be legitimate. So..it is going to be quite a time.

        =========

He’s better off that he doesn’t measure up.

I learned on Jeopardy that Caesar underwent the first autopsy. He was stabbed 23 times but only one stab wound was considered fatal.

I also watched a Netflix documentary series about the Roman Empire that begins with Caesar as a 19 year old ordinary soldier around the year 81 BC. Much is made of his crossing of the Rubicon with his army. The Rubicon was considered a border which must not be violated. Yoha has made several mentions of this and I suspect he may have watched this Netflix docu.

Kunstler is mischaracterized by people bound by binary thinking. His disdain for the perfidy of the Democratic party does not make him a right-wing extremist. His recognition that BLM is used as an excuse for criminal mischief does not mean he is a bigot. His concerns about illegal immigration are not xenophobic. His contention that gender fluidity is a recent social construct that flies in the face of biological principles is not homophobic.

      • James Kuehl December 18, 2020 at 2:36 pm #

I don’t get that from Kunstler’s writing, Jimbo. He doesn’t cast dispersions on people based on skin color but speaks harshly of those who would use a cause as cover for committing crimes and having fun causing mayhem. He has decried the weaknesses of our immigration laws, but I do not recall him disparaging immigrants as a group. I have not read anything from him about LGBT people, but he has pointed out the unintended consequences of upending long established social constructs involving gender. There is a lot of daylight between condemning individuals and pointing out the ramifications of their behavior.

I don’t think he’s collapsed mentally, he’s just taken a rational disdain for left-wing politics and adopted it into a unrelenting fanaticism for Donald Trump, and a non-skeptical adherence to everything Trump says.

I’ve read several of Kunstler’s books – excellently written, with a great command of the English language, and unafraid to share his opinions that would be considered taboo within the architecture and planning professions. His podcasts were always good, and still are. And until the past few years, he’s been pretty apolitical, taking shots at both sides when he did talk about politics. But his blog posts (and parts of his podcasts) are now straight out of Alex Jones’ territory. JHK takes Trump’s unfounded assertions and presents them as facts.

The comments to his blog posts, well, I guess they speak for themselves, they just don’t speak very well. Thanks for your comment though, it’s one of the few rational ones.

History seems to be the recurring saga of the big eating the small, and then the big dying out when no smalls remain to be eaten. Humans just can’t maintain a sound social ecology for very long. Russell Kirk’s “imperfectibility of man”. Real conservatism always seemed to me to be this necessary humility, to keep things small, so that things could continue on, peacefully, without these wild social and political upheavals. Maintaining a stable ecology. When things get too big, bad things happen. Maybe that’s why Jefferson stayed away from cities.

          ============

Back in the day when Woody Allen had the “creepy” relationship with Soon-Yi he expressed to the media by way of explanation that “the heart wants what the heart wants” if I remember correctly.

He fathered some children with her and I believe is still married to her. So, contrary to Yo’s opinion, it was not simply a matter of Woody thinking with his ‘small head.’

  27. Yohannon December 18, 2020 at 12:52 pm #

Instead of casting away all our old prejudices, we cherish them to a very considerable degree, and, to take more shame to ourselves, we cherish them because they are prejudices; and the longer they have lasted and the more generally they have prevailed, the more we cherish them. We are afraid to put men to live and trade each on his own private stock of reason; because we suspect that this stock in each man is small, and that the individuals would do better to avail themselves of the general bank and capital of nations and of ages.

    Edmund Burke

Yoho: People who gave up their prejudices against other races simply transferred them to Whites of a different class or party. An improvement? Hardly. Ok then, a lateral or neutral action? Uh no, not if you want to maintain the Nation which by definition consists of related people or at least peoples.

    • J. Dean December 18, 2020 at 1:05 pm #

It is thought that the progressives are the ones tied to utopianism. But sometimes I wonder whether it’s the conservatives that are the real utopians. If the unfortunate undeniable march of history (the “status quo”) is to crush individual people’s customs and freedoms via a mass multiculture or complete cultural leveling, then those who oppose this march must be labeled the idealists, the utopians.

      • Yohannon December 18, 2020 at 1:22 pm #

Oh you don’t like where I took it, I see. What you describe isn’t Conservatism, but merely “conservatism” or regular ol’ rinoism. They are the loyal token resistance, trailing the Liberals by a generation at most, now less. They are Liberals in the larger sense; certainly they accept the Liberals as their moral authorities, without admitting it or even realizing it.

Conservatives believe Man is fallen and cannot perfect himself without grace. And that is an individual matter, between a man (not Man) and his God. As for Man, he must be governed as he is, not as any idealist dreams that he is or can be. And by “governed”, I mean culture first and foremost. No government can do what family, faith, and custom have neglected to do.

        • J. Dean December 18, 2020 at 1:43 pm #

If the bent of history is the thirst for power and control, especially “over the minds of men”, then the remedy to this is people who insist on limitations to power, fueled by their moral convictions. And these people and their culture will always be in the minority because they will always be going against the grain of the world.

      • SoftStarLight December 18, 2020 at 1:41 pm #

A lot of that march of crushing customs and freedoms is also dependent upon the mass technologically based society we have at the moment it would appear. For instance, the social media platforms and big tech are determining what appears to be reality and what doesn’t. If their power is fragmented or destroyed their unstoppable march is slowed or even derailed. The status quo works till it doesn’t.

        • JohnAZ December 18, 2020 at 2:11 pm #

There is very little difference between Goebbel’s propaganda media and Stalin’s Pravda and the current state of information systems in the US. When social media was given the right to censor content, a Rubicon was crossed.

      Wow!

      Good stuff today, Yohannon.

JHK has been calling for a common culture in the US to unify the folks. For a long time, the Deep State has wagged the dog, found a common enemy to unify with.

Big problem, when there is no war, there is no unity.

Ethnocentrism arises, destroying the union. There never has been a common culture.

Heck of a choice, either war every generation, or dissolution.

Think of Yugoslavia. Tito kept it unified by creating common enemies. When they ran out and Tito died, time ran out and Balkanization happened.

Same thing is going to happen here!

This might be the kill shot for what this past Year Of The Damn Virus was really all about. The virus was to soften us up first for Their big finish. And few of us will enjoy the plot line that’s been pre-written for how all that turns out.

Utter disgust with all this has finally filtered down to the Man and Woman On The Street. I am hopeful that I am very wrong.

      • Wizard of the Saddle December 19, 2020 at 12:45 am #

This is precisely my own thinking. Trump would require a small army of ultra-loyal supporters that had been carefully selected and diligently embedded in key positions throughout the government in order to carry off such a bold decapitation of the entire Deep State apparatus.

But all evidence of the past four years tells us that Trump stands isolated and almost totally alone. Surrounded by disloyal GOP RINO and establishment retreads from prior Republican administrations who are wholly unreliable and certainly NOT on-board for such an audacious plan.

I sadly must conclude that this scenario will not materialize.

At best, Trump will refuse to confer legitimacy on Biden the usurper by opting NOT to attend the inaugural ceremony. I think that would be a wholly appropriate action on his part. There is precedent. Three prior presidents did this. John Adams. John Quincy Adams. Andrew Johnson. So no one can say Trump is an outlier.

That’s pretty damn good! The AMC show Mad Men had a story line like that a few years back. To confound the whole mess, it caused a rift between the two sons who were charged with finally cleaning the mess up which spilled over to a rift between them and old mom, who by that time was a complete neurotic mess living in utter and complete denial. Just watched it last night.
        Bill Holden was pretty good.
The crazy silent film star reminded me of My dads second marriage mother in law who was an opera star of some note for a bit.
She was of money and married the guy who ran one of the big movie studios for over a decade.
She seemed almost as crazy and was into some weird gig about spiritualism.
Same out of touch weirdness and big fantasy type everything was a huge production.
When you meet someone like that it tends to leave a mark.

Being that he married into a a hollyweird mover and shaker family I was exposed to all sorts of hollywood weirdness and personalities.
My step mom was a makeup artist for the entire time they were married and used to take me along while she was working.
There is nothing weirder than going onto some of the sets while they are not in production and then seeing them lit up while in production.

Smoke and mirrors does not even do it justice.

      I didn’t watch the video.

      But one of the comments caught my eye ;

” The problem with all the anti-trump crowd is that they believe there was a republican party and it had a base. In fact for the last 30 years the republican party has had to partner with other interests to get elected and have power. First it was the religious right (90’s) that they had to cow tow to then the tea party ( 00’s not a grass roots group but a group whose strings were pulled by the rich) and now the far extreme right nationalists. ”

      Mostly true I think.

      But then he says ;

” The party died years ago because it failed to present ideas…. ”

      Ugh .

What is this Cultic fetishized fixation on ideas and solutions ?

There was Hitler’s Final Solution .

In 1977 a guy named Jim Jones came up with this bright idea he called , ” Revolutionary Suicide. ”

Even if you love automobiles , if you gaze out over mile after mile of strip malls , the endless sea of blacktop ,

stand at a gas station and watch all the gas being pumped out and burned up even on an average day ,

how can you still not agree that the effect of the automobile culture on the American landscape has been , in a word , CATASTROPHIC ?

In 1920 or 1940 , the automobile was the great white hope of the future.

Volkswagens and the Autobahn , Henry Ford and Howard Jonnson’s.

Now here we are 80 years later.

The very best you can say about the automobile culture is that it is a double – edged sword.

The worst you can say is it is a tyranny disguised as a convenience , or even as a liberty.

Ideas and solutions are grossly over – rated .

About 9 million bpd of gasoline in the US alone.

Governor Newsom claims to be phasing out the internal combustion engine by 2030. I’ll believe it when I see it.

And I think there may be a loss of faith in EVs, because hydrogen powered autos — all of a sudden — are being touted as the next big thing in personal transportation.

But from what I know, hydrogen is problematic for a whole host of reasons, not the least of which it is highly explosive, which is never mentioned in glowing articles in the Guardian.

If you could see twelve lane freeways in California filled with cars, miles and miles of backups, every single day. It is amazing. California’s economy is based on the automobile. The idea that it will all be changed by 2030 is such a joke. No one takes Newsom seriously. Hey, let’s pretend that all those millions of cars are electric by 2030. How many more forests are going to be burned down by PG&E trying to keep up with demand? Oh, yeah, nuclear. We are going to shift to nuclear by 2030. Wait a minute, it takes 20 years to build a nuclear plant due to regulations.

Believe it or not, I thought that Andrew Yang was the most reasonable and sane choice amongst the Democratic candidates. But maybe I’m just manifesting “Asian Supremacy”. This is a new term recently coined in San Francisco to protest Asian parents who protest the institutionalization of lotteries as the means of selecting students for school admission.

Who is the CFNer who wants to bar code all pussies and dicks to track-the-hellouta them? Put some radioactive isotopes in the pussies to track ‘em from outer space using that new low orbit satellite Internet that that California pot head Elon Musk is building.

“ Former presidential candidate Andrew Yang has called for people to be required to prove they’ve been vaccinated before entering venues by showing a bar code on their phones.
“Is there a way for someone to easily show that they have been vaccinated – like a bar code they can download to their phone? There ought to be,” tweeted Yang.

Andrew Yang was the Deep Stater who advocated for Dem voters to capitalize on the illegal ‘law’ rushed into effect by GA Sec of State Raffensperger just before the election whereby those living in other States could visit Georgia, file a ‘change of address’ form (phony P.O. boxes, hotels, etc), deposit it to one of the drop boxes or official outlets, enjoy a day or two or week there, then fly back home.

He’s corruption with a mild face. More deceptive, and therefore more dangerous.

  39. beantownbill. December 18, 2020 at 5:41 pm #

Seems to me many CFNers are grasping at straws, thinking Trump will pull off some extreme strategy to remain president. IMO, he will not put any EOs into play, and he won’t declare martial law. Believe me, you do not want to be under martial law – it’s a very big, tough step.

Now, I’m on your side, people, I wish he would enact the relevant EO, but I just don’t think he will. Sorry for being so pessimistic. I will gladly make a public apology if I’m proven wrong.

What I’ve done is create a new currency: the CFN dollar. I’m willing to bet CFN$1,000 at 2 to 1 odds that Trump will not serve a second term.

For various reasons , one of them being my parents are real control – freaks , I didn’t get a drivers license until I was 25.

And then , as now , I lived in a very rural area.

So I did a great deal of walking in my younger days.

I never hitch – hiked , but occasionally people pulled over of their own volition and offered me a ride.

        That happened , maybe 30 to 40 times ?

Only twice was I propositioned , and in both cases it went no further than that.

That leaves 29 or 39 people who were just trying to be nice.

So , yeah , this animus against hitch – hiking drives me up the fucking wall.

” My grandmother told me that they supported Mussolini and the fascists right up to the moment they ran out of flour and could no longer make bread. Then no one supported the fascists. ”

I’m afraid it depends on the Fascists in question.

There were major crop failures in North Korea in the 1990’s. Pair that with punishing economic sanctions , and the result was famine.

Bad news for the North Korean regime ?

Nope , it was good news.

The regime used the famine to kill off ( albeit naturally you might say ) whatever opposition to the regime as did exist .

If you don’t support the regime , you don’t eat.

The North Koreans were using an old playbook too.

Lenin and Stalin employed the same strategy.

As Alexsandyr Solzhenitsyn said ; ” The genius of our Soviet gas chamber was that it didn’t have any gas ! ”

Dare I venture to speculate that perhaps the problem with Mussolini was that he was not — quite — as bad as Western propaganda paints him ?

It appears Covid is re-manifesting as a real problem. Mexico shutting down large swaths of the country; Sweden stating it erred in its strategy and will mirror the more viable course of action. My, My. I just divided 3238 by 241620 to get 1.4%. Current death rate for Covid. Now subtract deaths from heart disease, flu, AIDS and your actual rate is probably the same (0.3) as the yearly influenza virus. Yet bidet, eh, Biden must now contend with this manufactured panic. Oh wait, the untested serum consisting of MRNA to take over our protein production and save us! IF we see a dramatic drop off in “infections” come feb/mar, you’ll know we were scammed (hint: WE ARE). No longer do we get an attenuated viral particle to produce antibodies (protein based) for protection. We now allow a vaccine that takes over production of certain proteins supposedly to suppress this virus.
Working at a rural hospital, I was asked as to if I wanted the shot. Being selfless, I replied “negative”. See that you also reply in the negative. Nuff Said.

      Getsome

There is a weird thing going on right now. I watch the states new cases and deaths frequently. Remember that a couple of months ago, the third surge started in the northern tier and the Midwest. Then the sunbelt started up about three weeks later. Blame it on going inside.

Well, right now, all the Midwest and northern tier new case surges are subsiding considerably while California, Arizona and the sun belt are on the rise, California hugely.

      ???

Where is the CDC right now? Are the more northern states mitigating successfully? Or is something else at play? What are we paying the CDC for anyway? To get answers! Why are the most susceptible zones declining? Exceptions to the rule provide answers, get to work, CDC! Not understanding allows politicians to put the hammer down and destroy the economy. California proves right now that let ‘er rip does not work, it creates too many cases. Herd immunity must be achieved slowly and hopefully with the vaccine.

      • Disaffected December 19, 2020 at 10:51 am #

The CDC can’t really mitigate a purely statistical “pandemic,” that’s the IT guys’ job. Vaccines are pure subterfuge, although of course they’ll be an excellent revenue source for big pharma and thus stock prices. So there’s that at least… No telling what trojan horse goodies will be along for the ride as well.

Perhaps they’ll inject all the true believers first so the rest of us can monitor the results? One can only hope. Of course if the injections themselves turn those people radioactive to everyone around them then we’re all still fooked, so what’s a poor boy to do? Nothing a nitrogen bottle and a CPAP mask won’t fix, I reckon.

The good news for the true believers is that lock downs, virtue signaling masks, and Bill Gates only knows what else will be with us for the foreseeable future now, so that’s something to be thankful for this holiday season.

All sorts of vaccines cause chaos that haunts people for their entire lives.
            Just read the insert.
Most vaccines are not safe in the current form they are given and in some cases they might be as dangerous as what they are trying to prevent.
While in the military they gave me an Anthrax vaccine course twice and it has caused me some pretty serious joint issues ever since.

Just after I got out they started pushing Anthrax and small pox at the same time which caused a number of peoples pancreas to simply melt.
Some diseases are worth fighting off like small pox, some just seem like profit is the motivation like Chicken pox.
Miserable but hardly lethal if young when you catch it.

        ==========

Yesterday I had an appointment with an ophthalmologist. In the midst of our banter he said “I’m getting the Covid vaccination tomorrow.” I asked if he was among the first to get it because he is “on the front lines.” He said, “yeah, a Doctor.” I asked if he had any qualms or concerns about getting it. He said, very convincingly, “no, not at all.”

        This is anecdotal, I realize.

The thing that amazes me is the denial shown by people about the capability of a group to form a conspiracy of enormous proportions. This is the age of computer, social media and the internet. IT experts can do anything to coordinate the activities of enormous groups of people. Why is it that the conspirators always use the excuse that “It is just a conspiracy theory”? Because silence is a conspiracy’s best ally.

Something is weird about Dominion. I hope that if they did manipulate the election, they find it out. If it is true, the voters no longer control the outcomes, IT does. If the Dems did it, jail is too good for them.

    @ Yohannon

” “Pagan” is a Abrahamic smear word. ”

It seems to me that you have to do quite a bit of looking the other way not to notice that the Old Testament Jews smeared EVERYBODY.

Like , even the Philistines are painted as the bad guys.

    The Philistines ?

In World War II you can maybe paint the Germans and the Japanese as the bad guys. Maybe you can paint the Italians as the bad guys.

But Painting the Philistines as the bad guys is like painting the Bulgarians as the bad guys in World War II , and painting King Boris of Bulgaria as equivalent to Hitler.

” But you prefer the idea that you have the Truth and no one else does. ”

I call myself a Christian because I believe that the claims Jesus Christ made , or rather , what the writers of the New Testament claimed that he claimed , are true.

Why I think that is a long story , so I will skip it.

I am not a cradle Catholic , but a convert.

To join the club , I necessarily had to know WHY I was joining.

I became Catholic because I DO NOT subscribe to Sola Scriptura.

For those not familiar with the term , Sola Scriptura is the concept that the Bible is the sole source and summit of Christian authority,

500 years after Martin Luther , and with the Catholic Church lately totally buying into the , ” Me Too ” Movement ,

it might strike a modern as bizarre or contradictory a Christian who questions the Bible.

Fact Check ; For the better part of 2,000 years Sola Scriptura was rejected in the Christian world as HERESY.

And Martin Luther was , and is , a HERETIC.

As I have mentioned elsewhere , we have known for 2,000 years that the Bible can be interpreted any way you please.

You CAN read into the Bible anything you like.

Or you CAN read out of the Bible anything you like.

You don’t like a particular line in the Bible ? You CAN re – interpret it into insignificance , or you can even simply ignore it .

You really , really like a certain line in the Bible ?

The original point may in fact have been trivial , but you can blow it up into colossal significance.

For example , ” Thou Shalt not suffer a witch to live . ”

For the better part of a thousand years , witchcraft prosecutions averaged about 5 or 10 PER CENTURY.

Then someone hit on the — primarily secular — idea of , ” Get tough on crime ” and suddenly you saw 100 witchcraft prosecutions in ONE MONTH.

That’s the old Bolshevik / Jacobin / British / American tactic of putting out a story that your clusterfuck was actually carried out by someone else , someone else who , not uncommonly , wasn’t even fucking on the scene.

I believe in Church tradition , and Apostolic succession .

And THAT IS ALL I believe.

    Period.

    Full stop .

As regards Apostolic succession for example , it is the concept and the office I respect , period , full stop.

The guy who currently occupies Peter’s Chair may very well be the Devil incarnate.

But then , I’m not the one who cooked up this cultic ” Great Leader ” business , I’m not surprised it has turned around and bitten people on the ass , and I don’t think myself responsible for it.

Again , it’s the old tactic of ascribing your own clusterfuck to another.

Maybe Pope John Paul II walked on water ?

Maybe , but I always thought it was a good bet that he would not live forever , and believe it or not , I always thought it was a very bad deal to make so much of him.

ONE THING we CAN be SURE of is that Popes will come and they will go.

Maybe it is nice to have a great leader , but it is foolish to depend on that.

” As I said (quoting Hirshi Ali), this is problematic. And it craps on the doctrine of Providence, that God is taking care of Humanity – all of Humanity. ”

    I agree 100% .

God only cared about this little group of Jews , and this little plot of land in the Levant , and the Japanese and the Picts , and the Inca’s , etc , can just go hang ?

    No , I don’t think so.

” Impersonal means no afterlife? Huh? ”

I said IF THAT IS WHAT YOU MEAN.

Over the years I have met quite a few people who claimed to be religious , but at the same time claimed they did not subscribe to the idea of an afterlife.

I trust you already have some good idea of what I think of that idea .

    But to again sum up ;

    No afterlife ?

Then I’m not interested in anything else you have to say.

    • Yohannon December 18, 2020 at 9:13 pm #

You hold no brief for the Pope? Maybe Orthodoxy would have fit you better.

Other than that suggestion, I think we agree 100%. A miracle!

Alas, you are no doubt a Novus Ordo-er. The coming Antichrist will have two seats: Rome and Jerusalem. Barnhardt relates how Rome was already a nest of Sodomites before Covid closed it down. We may be in the End Times, at least approaching the Chastisement. The current fellow simply isn’t the Pope – otherwise not be able to preach heresy. According to Barnhardt, the Papacy has been supernaturally protected for the last two millenia, despite the many bad actors who have sat on the throne. This isn’t a small thing. Call it supernatural legalism.

    • Yohannon December 18, 2020 at 9:23 pm #

Of course there is life after death. The real mystery is why some cultures like the Greeks and the Jews were so hazy about it. Was it their excessive focus on the physical alone? Or in consequence of that, did someone(s) play around with their religions, snipping here and there to “make it so”?

Not all the Greeks or Jews fell for it in any case. Ditto the early Romans. Didn’t seem to have much interest. Too busy having a hoe in one hand and a sword in the other.

Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Health, a certain Dr. Rachel Levine (who had a Bar Mitzvah before & after successive “clippings”), has issued guidelines for attending an orgy in the shadow of Covid-19.

“Large gatherings are not safe during COVID19, but if you attend a large gathering where you might end up having sex, below are tips to reduce your risk of spreading or getting COVID-19 through sex:

    Limit the number of partners.

Try to identify a consistent sex partner.

    Wear a face covering,

    avoid kissing,

and do not touch your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.

Wash your hands with soap and water often, and especially before and after sex. If soap and water are not available use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

If you usually meet your sex partners online, consider taking a break from in-person dates.

Video dates, sexting, subscription-based fan platforms, or chat rooms may be options for you.

    • Yohannon December 18, 2020 at 9:26 pm #

Try to identify! Not easy I suppose if the darkened room is a seething mass of serpentine corruption, arms and legs so many tentacles and pseudopods. What matter the gender of the extender! And if you do so identify, how can you extricate your beloved from the greater mass?

The neat thing about conspiracy theories is that they are always safe…they can infinitely change to meet the needs of their conspirees.
    Easy peasy.

They can’t be argued with, so don’t even try.

People who are in denial of their emotional issues are free to blame all their troubles on others, like the Clintons, Obama, MSM or me.

The neat thing about denying so-called conspiracy theories is that you can just call people kooks who subscribe to them. No investigation necessary! Easy peasy.

These smug assholes can’t be argued with, so don’t even try.

People who are in denial of the insidious realities that used to be hidden, but (since there’s no pushback) are now out in the open, are now free to blame all their troubles on hard-working data analysts, hundreds of people who’ve signed sworn affidavits, noted constitutional lawyers, a trucker who’d like to know where his trailer went with the (up to) 288,000 ballots, Repub officials locked out of observing vote verification, various experts who document illegalities of State legislators, reporters documenting the troubled history of Dominion voting machines and the Democrats who until last year expressed their fears about them, and others who just wonder what the various anti-Trumpers have to be so afraid of that they can’t even get States, judges, MSM ‘reporters’, and voting officials to take a look at the overwhelming evidence, while social media simultaneously blocks and censors all these legit issues and more.

It’s all inside the playbook from their dysfunctional game.

Wow Tom. This is one of your more substantive posts. Not your typically laid back tenor. Though it really feels like you are creating reasons to be dismissive and condescending. But just to be sure not to leave any lingering doubts or any potential confusion for the audience I see you have endorsed and promoted delegitimizing and marginalizing those who commit the crime of thoughts, ideations, and theories outside of the perimeters and purview you have arbitrarily set around that which you consider reality. Therefore it is you who have created a safe space and bubble for yourself. So yeah, that is apparently easy peasy now isn’t it. And just as you suggest that conspiracy theories can be infintely changed to meet the needs of the conspirees so does it appear that you so shamelessly indulge in the same strategy. Just dismiss whatevs the deemed “conspiracy” when it doesn’t meet your needs easy peasy! So when it comes to the assertion of rule making it would seem your post is presented as a rule of thumb no. I would venture to say a conspiracy to you is anything that you find disagreeable. Thus the whole excuse not to even argue. Hear no evil, see no evil, say no evil. And cast aspersions on those who break the so called peace.

BTW, you mention that you use “command f” for “Kim” in order to bypass the usual boring old chat. I use “ctrl f” to do a search in Google Chrome. In what browser is “command f” used? What key constitutes the word “command”?

        • NZRico December 20, 2020 at 5:36 pm #

Not the browser but the OS (Mac). The somewhat universal symbol for “command” is a square with loops at each corner; but my keyboard actually has the word printed below it–both keys immediately left and right of the space bar. You can draw the symbol by drawing a square in a clockwise direction; but at each corner loop in an anticlockwise direction before going on to the next side. Voila! “Command f” btw is also useful to search “JHK Admin” so see who’s getting chewed out this week 🙂

” Are you equating the “Christian world” to the Roman Catholics?

“Then SOMEONE hit on the — primarily secular — idea of ” meaning SOMEONE got away from scripture, adding a private interpretation – and messed things up. ”

    ( emphasis added )

Funny thing ; I ‘ll use here your own statement .

For 2,000 years the idea that every Tom , Dick , and Harry SOMEONE would serve as their own magisterium and seminary was , yes , considered a bogus idea in the Christian world , in general.

The Catholics and the Orthodox and the Marianites may , yes , have even fought knock – down – drag – out wars with each other ,

BUT they ALL AGREED ON THAT.

And when the Protestants came along ?

They , too , set up magisteriums and seminaries , because while they talked Sola Scriptura , they acted otherwise.

You don’t drop millions into building and staffing seminaries because you take Sola Scriptura to any degree seriously.

Otherwise , now we are getting into hair – splitting shit.

You had , like , the Gnostics .

Near as we can tell — because the reality is there is far more about the Gnostics that we do NOT know , than that we DO know —

They pretty much believed you needed a ph.d to get into heaven.

If you were stupid ? Tough shit.

Except even being a genius apparently wasn’t enough.

You NEEDED SECRET KNOWLEDGE , only accessible via the secret Ivy League handshake – type thing.

    What secret knowledge ?

    Who the fuck knows ?

I would GUESS though , that it was a bit like Masonic ritual and dogma.

Nowadays , you can look up Masonic ritual and dogma on the internet , or at the public library .

And what you learn may disappoint you.

You may learn that there is nothing to be learned by joining the Masons that you could not just as well have learned with a library card.

They don’t have the secret of turning lead into gold , or the fountain of youth , or any master plan for conquering the world .

On the contrary , nearly their every idea is a borrowing from another religion , and arguably the original idea was the better.

    You had the Cathars .

We know even less about them.

One thing we do know about them is that their ideas were so provocative that the secular power structure at the time proposed EXTERMINATING EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM.

Inquisitorial courts were notoriously regarded then ( and often would be considered NOW ) as too bleeding heart.

Go before an Inquisitorial court ? You at least have a chance.

Go before a secular court ? You are totally fucked pal , and with a literal red hot poker too.

( Like , notice Martin Luther was NOT tortured and drawn and quartered and his ashes thrown on a dung heep , and that was when he gave the church a big , ” Fuck you ! ” ? )

So , by calling a crusade against the Cathars , the Church probably saved lives.

After that , well , we are getting into Peoples Temple , Flip Wilson’s Church of What’s Happening Now , hair – splitting shit , like I said.

    • messianicdruid December 18, 2020 at 10:55 pm #

“On the contrary , nearly their every idea is a borrowing from another religion , and arguably the original idea was the better.”

Is the better. The teachings of the Apostles still guide the faithful. Anything contradicting them should be avoided.

“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.”

      • messianicdruid December 19, 2020 at 12:00 pm #

“So , by calling a crusade against the Cathars , the Church probably saved lives.”

It wasn’t about saving lives, it was about saving their usurped authority.

You seem to be arguing against Nicolaitanism, but then you turn around and defend it.

Augustine brought in the pagan concept of eternal punishment.

Jerome changed times and seasons, as well as the law.

Boniface said it didnt matter what you believed as long as you accepted the papacy.

Smorgasbord Religion. Take what you want, eat all you take.

    • Yohannon December 19, 2020 at 10:46 am #

The enemies of the Church had a habit of disappearing. Luther was invited to a debate in a strong Catholic city and felt he had to attend. His disciples begged him not to go. He insisted. So they went with him – 200 in full suits are armor, armed with swords and maces. The Catholic authorities were caught flat footed and could do nothing.

That being said, Luther held some appalling ideas. And thought a good debater, many feel the Catholic (forget his name) more than held his own.

      • elysianfield December 19, 2020 at 12:03 pm #

        “And thought a good debater…”

        Yo,
Good? Luther was great! He was a master debater. He used to destroy his opponents, taunt, bait them…

        A master taunter…yes.

      • messianicdruid December 19, 2020 at 12:30 pm #

One thing people overlook about Luther, he asked people NOT to start a denomination named after him. Martin knew that teaching the doctrines and commandments of men was wrong.

“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name [ authority ].

It’s not an uncommon occurence here, ‘specially in our cities, for cars to crash into storefronts, historical monuments, even private houses. For the most part its stolen autos fleeing police, but also cars driven recklessly by illegals. Some of our most distinguished statues have been destroyed or damaged in this manner, statues erected by a proud people in a previous age when our urban areas were still part of the first world, before they became dystopic Welfare Colonies. What a surprise it was then when I read that an Audi in Greenwich which crashed into an electronics store was driven by the 42 yo son of Ray Dalio, billionaire, founder of Blackwater Capital, one of the richest men in America. He was killed. No reason given for the crash which occurred in the middle of the afternoon, but one suspects he wasn’t driving home from Bible Study.

My money is on Trump sloping out the back door of the White House and spending the rest of his life whingeing on his new TV channel about how he was betrayed in between ads for extra cash to fund his comeback. A Michigan Court has decided in favor of a man who had his massive, and valuable, porn collection seized and destroyed by…his parents. The parents are now on the hook for 25 Grand…more or less.

    This strikes a blow in favor of those 40+ year old men (and women) living in their parent’s basements. To paraphrase the judge;

Sort of reminds me of the massive comic book collection I had as a kid.
It was inherited from an uncle via marriage.
We are talking several first run issues that are now worth a small fortune.
Around the age of twelve my mother decided I was to old for them and tossed them in the trash or so she says because even back them some of them were worth a couple of hundred dollars.
I have over the years looked at the prices of some of them and could have bought a house with that collection.

“The establishment likes to make people think there are only ever two choices during any crisis, and both choices involve giving up more freedom or giving government more power. What they don’t want you to consider is the third option – The people taking power for themselves and removing power from those that would abuse it.

Why should we rely on a middleman to enact such measures? Why are we always being told that we need to wait for a president or a government to do the job we can do ourselves? The liberty movement doesn’t revolve around Trump or the election, and it should NEVER rely on martial law as a means to secure our safety. We can do this on our own without asking permission or waiting to be led by a mascot.”

The word “midget”, among many other words, frequently offends SJWs, and, also like many words, has a connotative meaning. I thought this wouldn’t have to be explained.

You have many problems with typos and grammar, but this is a board where swift, informal social commentary is more important than editorial strictness. For example, I enjoy posts by KesAnna and benr, but I would never read anything by them in the guise of a formal essay.

Mygawd, man, you still don’t get it? Did you not read in my short post that “midget”, along with many words, has a connotative meaning? Do you want me to do all your work for you?

“Midget” is often used as a pejorative, i.e., “mental midget”. At your age, I’m very surprised you wouldn’t have heard of this before.

“Soul, what I wrote about Christie’s height has absolutely NOTHING to do with being a “language scold.” — Q Shtik

Correct. But, once again, you’re zeroing in on the minutiae of an issue without recognizing its wider import.

This challenging of “midget” is an example of you, as you did with me before, calling me out for a language ‘indiscretion’ that was assumptive and faulty. It’s of a piece with your grammatical ‘corrections’, which are either wrong, out of context, or (when correct) unbelievably nitpicky and arbitrarily highlighted.

  75. Sean Coleman December 19, 2020 at 5:47 pm #

Like other things understanding the wretched virus takes knowledge and reasoning. Here I am thinking about the question as to whether it exists or not.

    First reasoning.

“Brothers and sisters have I none. This man’s father is my father’s son.”

I would say that most people cannot work it out. It reminds me of Daniel Everett’s excellent book about a primitive Amazon tribe called the Parahas, Don’t Sleep There Are Snakes. He learns their language to be able to teach them the Bible (he goes native and ends up as a Liberal atheist) and gets into a discussion in his book about Chomsky’s linguistic rule (as I understand it) that languages are recursive, that is, they refer back to other things. Everett argues that the Paraha language only let them discuss immediate experience and only so far back as living memory at best. So he found it impossible to talk to them about a historical figures from two thousand years ago. They could only really talk about the here and now, about what was right there in front of them. (Actually, many people I know, including my in-laws, are like this)

Philosophy bores me as does formal logic but one principle at least from them is useful: a thing cannot be and not be something, or cannot be both true and false. Or whatever. So, a virus cannot be both lethal and comparatively mild.

Knowledge. This is tricky. Trying to learn from the media is like reading between the lines of Pravda or the old speciality of deciphering what the Soviet leadership was up to which was called Kremlinology. I ignore the media almost completely but have listened to a lot of scientists and independent journalists, nearly all in foreign languages, German in particular since they have set about it in the most intelligent and methodical manner. Dutch and Italian too, to a lesser degree. France and Sweden have been pretty useless as far as I can make out and forget about the rest: smaller European countries tend to be utterly provincial and mimic the leaders. Ireland is typical.

No single person ssems quite to get the full picture. How could he? There is simply too much information out there. Matthew Johnson is as good as it gets and in a recent podcast he said in passing about the virus something like “even if it has been isolated”. Thanking his sponsors, whose financial support allows him to dedicate himself full time to his work, albeit under straitened circumstances, he often says that you need to do an awful lot of reading to be able to make any meaningful comment on important matters. He himself reads widely and always reads the documents themselves, in recent weeks the constitutional law applying to govt imposition of emergency rules. He is entitled to his opinion and I really am grateful for his endeavours.

The question as to whether the virus exists must be one of the most pressing issues of all and it is interesting to speculate why the truth has not been established nine months on since this nonsense began.

German doctor Wolfgang Wodarg raised serious doubts back in March but you cannot just take one man’s word for something and in the subsequent period other doctors, scientists and journalists have chipped in with their views and the results of their own investigations. From what I can see the virus has not been isolated and Koch’s Postulates have not been fulfilled, by which a pathogen is isolated, concentrated, and injected into a guinea pig thereby bringing abou the symptoms in quesiont. This is easier with bacteria than with viruses, for which an adapted set of ‘postulates’ (Grey’s I think) were developed.

The thing about this is that it is logical. But what we have now is a new disease which does not have anything distinctive about it. A virus has not been isolated, notwithstanding insinuations and outright claims to the contrary, which themselves probably cover a variety of different microbes. Moreover, even if a virus were isolated it has to be able to produce the symptoms. Experiments were carried out with mice where an isolated liquid (from centrifuge I expect), containing the virus among lots of other dross, was injected into mice. They were not affected significantly.

I have heard it estimated that 70% of the worlds PCR tests for the virus (an uncontrolled, unregulated wild west by the way) are based on Drosten’s German test. (Drosten is the poster boy for all things virological in Germany, and it is he whose doctoral thesis went missing for a full seventeen years before something purporting to be it surfaced during the summer and then it turned out that he had not really needed to write one (actually that regulation had not exsited at the time) because he had written three published papers (one of which, I hear, he did not write: as I cannot know any of this first ahdn I am basing all of this on what I have myself learnt. to the best of my judgment).

Drosten’s test was based on educated guesswork about the construction of the (alleged) new virus. It was announced on 21 January, two or three days before the first clinical information came out of China. Not that that matters very much because that information, like everything else since, has not included a photograph and analyiss of the isolated virus.

As I said in an earlier comment above, the test has been known to have been useless from the start because many who displayed (alleged) symptoms of the virus gave a negative test result while many others gave a positive result but showed no symptoms whatsoever.

That is my own judgment and view. How should I know? Well, if the virus has been properly isolated we would have surely heard all about it on the media, over and over again.

Finally, is it possible that such a hullabaloo could be made over a thing that did not exist? Well, yes. This happens regularly. The example that springs to mind is AIDS and HIV. I wrote above about Kary Mullis (he invented the PCR test) and his account of the time he was filling in a grant form for a lab in California and began by saying that HIV was the probable cause of AIDS. (YT extinguished the video but you can find it on Bitchute.) He went to get a source reference but nobody could give it to him. There must be a study somewhere. But no luck. Finally he got the chance to ask Nobel prize winner Luc Montaignet in person, who made a couple of useless suggestions (including: Take the CRC’s recent statement on the matter!) before walking off. Montaignet’s junior colleagues stood around open-mouthed. They clearly thought he shoudl have been able to come up with something. They don’t know! Nobody knows! thought Mullis. Those guys are sitting out on a limbe. I’d hate to be sitting there with them!

    • beantownbill. December 19, 2020 at 6:35 pm #

Sean, you seem to have done a lot of reading on the subject. I haven’t. I must be more naive than I thought I was. I could question the severity of the virus, or the quality of the testing, but it didn’t occur to me to question the existence of the virus itself.

I read from some posts that the virus hasn’t been isolated, but I just discounted them as rumor or exaggeration. What I don’t understand is why do we see drawings of the virus with all the spikes? If covid hasn’t been isolated, how do they know what it looks like, other than just guessing? If they are just guessing, then the public has been sorely and criminally mislead. Something is causing a lot of people to become sick, though. How does one parse through all the news without being absurdly cynical? I just want to read about something, not have to weigh judgment about it’s truthfulness. Personally, I’m plain tired of it all.

      • Sean Coleman December 20, 2020 at 11:10 am #

        Beantownbill

It is quite possible that it is a new virus but there is limited evidence. The pictures are computer generated models of viruses, probably run of the milll ones. Articles were published in scientific journals purporting to show photos of isolated viruses. Of those I saw one claimed to show virus budding or emerging, another showed viruses which were far too small (according to wHO standard measurements) to be corona while a third sowed virus that was far too big. A fourht showed what was claimed to be virus within tissue. On questioning by independent journalists (such as Torsten Engelbrecht) it emerged that Koch Postulates were not fulfilled in any of them. So even if a virus has been isolated (this has not happened satisfactorily to my knowledge) there is nothing to show that it causes the disease Covid19, about which there are serious doubts it exists as a separate new disease since it has nothing distinctive. I think they call this new virus SARCov2 (Drosten was joint discoverer of SARSCov1 in 2002 or 03, and this fact alone now raises doubt about that virus’s existence also).

There are so many variables here that it is beyond anyone’s ability to understand exactly what is going on, including (and, one could argue, especially) the scientists.

What is the PCR test showing?

1 The first possibility is that it is indeed detecting SARSCovid2. The labs claim that a number of similar viruses have been excluded so there can be no false positives from these. However, there have only been a limited number of these.

2 A second is that it is al false positives and there is nothing there. In Germany during the summer I heard that the rate of positive results was 1.3% and Drosten’s test claimed to be 98.6 specific, so that was an almost perfect fit.

3 In other countries then (possibly) but certainly since then the rate of positives is higher, perhaps around 10%, but this varies from place to place and in time. See what I mean about variables? A 10% rate would support the theory that what we are experiencing is a return of the old 2003 SARSCov1 virus, which long ago was thought to have disappeared from humans but only to migrate to animals. According to this theory it has now reappeared among humans. If this is true there is no point trying to control its spread as it will already be everywhere already. (By the wya, even if you accept that it came from Wuhan surely it will ahve stpread everywehre by now anyway?)

4 It could just be showing the usual corona viruses which are always there every year in a proportion of 1:10 vis a vis the flu. Nobody bothered with them until now because the flu was always considered far more dangerous, although I think people fall ill and die in a similar proportion. Flu, corona and other viruses are believed to act in concert and indeed (according to some Dutch study a few years ago) when one type (eg flu) is reduced by vaccination or whatever then the others, including corona, take its place.

Whether it exists or not does not, of course. much affect the general argument that this is an absurd over-reaction to a standard virus. The most referenced sicentist in this area, John Ioannides, made this point back in April or so, to no effect. But I am fascinated by the possibility of its non-existence because it would then fit even more perfectly into the pattern of health scares and the wider overall pattern of collective fatnasy.

The media cannot be believed in anything miportant. Some of what they say may well be true but it is impossible to know what bits without checking.

Apart from Spain and Portugual, where there has been alight increase, the death rate in Europe has remained unchan ged this year. In other words the ‘Covid’ deaths are just a re-labelling of deaths from other causes. This was predicted (by me among others) back at the start and so it has come to pass. The short increase in iatrogenic mortality (ie caused by treatment) in Mid-April appears to ahve been compensated for a by a slight reduction in the follwoing period. But this is just supposition on my part. I think it merely brought forward the deaths of a nuimber of eick elderly people who would have died during the summer if their deaths had not been brought on prematruely through HCQ, anti-virals, ventialtors (extremely dangerous for the elderly) or simply shipping them out of hospitals into nursing homes where they could not be kept alive any longer. But this is just supposition.

      • Sean Coleman December 20, 2020 at 11:34 am #

I was irritated when it became clear that iatrogenic mortality had occured in large numbers because I had preferred it if the scare had simply been caused by statistical sleight of hand. It would have been a simpler and more satisfying explanation. Nursing home deaths would then have merely reflected an equal decrease in hospital deaths (in Germany the latter account for 40% of deaths annually) and it should have been able to show this when the figures were available. It was obvious from the start that the only figures worth examining would be total mortality.

If it had all been just statistical manipulation, self delusion and dodgy measurements then it would have been very similar indeed to the global warming scare.

Franz Boas, ‘father of American anthropology,’ & distantly related to Chomsky (see ‘Early Life, Wikipedia), said that all languages were equally advanced, & therefore, all cultures are equal, the denizen of the Ile-de-France equal to the Cape Hottentot. But if one language has the capacity for recursive expression, & another does not, doesn’t one have to naturally conclude, according to Boas’s judgement, that the past is of no consequence? Living in the eternal present is so sweet. “We’ve always been at war with EastAsia,” says the Inner Party. There’s no agenda here.

Remember when they told us we had to quarantine temporarily to “flatten the curve”? I don’t either.

      • Sean Coleman December 20, 2020 at 11:20 am #

Thanks for reminding me about Boas. His pupil Margaret Meade created the myth of a free love paradise in the South Seas. It was all a fraud and that fits the pattern of collective fantasy too. So he was a relative of Chomsky and one of them too. I did not know that and should have suspected.

Everett argued that recursion exists in all languages (or is supposed to exist – my addition) and is a proof of ‘deep grammar’ or whatever. So he claimed that Chomsky was wrong.

The thought of living in the eternal present in a meaningless, relativistc world without ultimate meaning would literally drive me out of my mind. I would be just like the Savage in Brave New World.

One has to wonder who exactly are the people who would like to inflict compulsory equality on everyone (except for themselves).

      • Sean Coleman December 20, 2020 at 11:23 am #

Everett’s book is amazing but I saw him speaking since to an American audience of Liberal atheists and they all loved him. He even described (accurately, from my memory of the book), as the Paraha living a life on the beach, just like Californian surfboard drop-outs I suppose. That is the brave new world they want for us, whether we ask for it or not.

    • Sean Coleman December 21, 2020 at 7:39 am #

I understand that the CDC announced two months ago or so that the virus had not been isolated or cultured. If it had been since then we would definitely have heard.

    Re: Covid deaths in America:

I am of the opinion that there is significant doubt about what is, or should be, or has been, categorized as a Covid death. Accordingly, I am much more inclined to look at data for ALL DEATHS, regardless (notice, I said ‘regardless’, not irregardless) of reason and compare one year’s deaths with the prior year’s deaths.

And so, a few weeks ago a commenter here posted total deaths for the first 47 weeks of 2020 and compared that figure with the first 47 weeks’ deaths in 2019. The 2020 deaths figure was 11.55% greater than the 2019 deaths figure. Note, I am assuming the commenter’s total deaths data was accurate.

If we had no other information I would say 11.55% greater is very significant and could logically be attributed to Covid. But there are other data that might mitigate the significance of that 11.55% greater death rate. I do not possess that data but for example:

    1. What was the total pop. of America in the two years being compared?
    2. Baby Boomers are aging and coming into the range where dying is more likely. I will guess that 2020 had more Boomer deaths than 2019 and 2021 will have more Boomer deaths than 2020.

After adjustment is made for these (and other factors?) I believe the 11.55% factor would shrink yet it still would leave a significantly higher rate of deaths in 2020 vs 2019 that is Covid related.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

    • beantownbill. December 19, 2020 at 6:45 pm #

I researched annual deaths in America since the revolution, believe it or not. I found the number of deaths varied significantly year-to-year. From what I read, this year’s deaths were in line with last year. Actually, who the fuck knows what’s really going on?

      • jimbo December 19, 2020 at 7:24 pm #

Scientists know what is going on . Usually around 8,000 Americans die every day past 10 years . We are at close to 11000 a day since March on average. Now in December pushing 12000 a day . So yea , Covid is A Thing .

        • Sean Coleman December 20, 2020 at 5:40 pm #

“Jimbo”: “Scientists know what is going on .”

Which scientists? The excitable or compliant fools paraded in front of the cameras or the thousands of others who understand?

From what I read, this year’s deaths were in line with last year. – bean

        ==========

I take ^that^ to mean that deaths for all reasons were approximately the same for both 2020 and 2019. This differs from what the other commenter said. Either you or he or both don’t have the correct data.

Maybe he/she will see this discussion and come back with the figures.

    • Soul Forensics December 19, 2020 at 7:19 pm #

There should be a comma after “reason”, and a “to” between “and” and “compare” in your first paragraph.

In your third paragraph, your second sentence is actually a sentence fragment. There should also be a comma after your last “data” entry.

In your penultimate paragraph, you should have a comma after your parenthetical, and another comma after “shrink”. The entire sentence is inapt, especially “that is”, which would achieve somewhat better clarity with “which are”.

Do you see how tedious this is? And how hypocritical you now sound?

    • Yohannon December 19, 2020 at 8:39 pm #

The new CDC concept is “pic” or pneumonia, influenza, and covid. Pneumonia or the lungs filling up with fluid, is a typical symptom and cause of death – not a disease per se.

      • JohnAZ December 19, 2020 at 9:11 pm #

You are right. If you consider young lung as having an air capacity of 100%, we lose lung capacity during our lifetime to old age emphysema, disease destruction, smoking, pollution, and obesity. Consider that each hit lowers the percentage capacity. When the inside surface area gets below a certain percentage, the lungs cannot absorb enough O2 and exhale enough CO2 to keep up with the body’s needs. You die. The O2 sat measurements that folks talk about is a measurement of how much the body can get vs. what it needs.

So if you are compromised below a certain percentage by obesity, old age, smoking, compromised perfusion, etc. taking a hit from this virus and the immune over reaction drops you below the critical percentage,

        You die.

Think about the proverbial straw breaking the camel’s back, that is Covid. Eventually, something comes along, COPD, asthma, allergic reaction, flu or Covid that uses up that last critical lung space and that is it.

Covid is just one of a number of things that can kill by reducing lung capacity. It does have two things that I have heard aggravates the situation, one, the immune over response which floods large volumes of lung space and two, in the severe cases, there is a protein present that gels the secretions, making the lung act like a solid. Hence the inability for ventilators to help much.

Once below criticality, it is over. I do not care what category you want to put it in.

    • Tate December 19, 2020 at 8:53 pm #

Many of the additional deaths, if such there be, can be attributable to a number of deaths inversely related to covid. In other words, only related to covid in the sense that, without the covid hysteria, there would have been fewer deaths from loneliness, despair, & suicide, from medical treatments deferred, from drug overdoses, from DUI deaths, from oxygen deprivation from the wearing of masks. Covid itself is undoubtedly a tiny part of the total additional deaths. So the harm greatly outweighs the benefits? Seems like it.

My humble but educated opinion is that Trump’s presidency was an instance in populism from above gone out of control. Hence the constant Hitler comparisons. The average pundit is only bright enough to know Hitler is the Great Satan and culmination of all evils. But some of these Foundation World analysis dweebs understand enough actual history to know that Hitler was basically a police spy who belonged to the same theosophical occult lodges as Field Marshall Ludendorff, who mentored the young man and lent his name to an attempted regional coup.Trump was very early associated, through his father, with Norman Vincent Peale’s Ministry of Pos-Think. His other high level connections famously include Roy Cohn-who has been closely associated with intelligence honeytrap operations and private intelligence and espionage operations such as the Mary Carter Paint Company.
What I’m saying is Trump is not AGAINST the Deep State- he’s just point man for an upcoming faction of the global mafia that is the US estahlishment. The only way Trump will be allowed to take office for a second term is if we get a situation like the Imperial Way coup in 1930s Japan. This means if some faction in the military officer corps who have been shut out of the CNN/Raytheon endorsement sweeptakes & are unhappy with the rampant corruption and maybe don’t buy into the idea that China somehow wants to destroy its biggest customer- not that that deters Wal-Mart from doing exactly that.

Looks like JHK is close with Trump as he claims, with apparent certainty, that Trump has loads of evidence of widespread fraud. But how can JHK know that? Probably in the same way that Trump knows that he won the election “big”. All of this is nonsense. Maybe Trump has some evidence but we don’t yet know. Maybe it affected the outcome but we don’t yet know, nor does Trump.

Pompeo will probably now be ridiculed here as he’s contradicted Trump on who likely hacked various government servers. Trump loves Russia and won’t hear a word against them. He will gainsay anything that implicates Russia and claim it’s more likely to be China.

One might get the impression, here, that Trump is squeaky clean with not a hint of corruption and no hint of his support for his family members.

Get over it. Trump lost and I can’t see any way that will be overturned. But most here, and JHK, continue to hope against hope.

” No, the other real OLD real churches say the same thing. You people wouldn’t exist but for us, nor would the Bible. ”

I was going to write a whole wall of text.

In fact , I did write a whole wall of text.

But then I saw your comment , thought about it , and erased what I had written.

You said it better , and simpler.

What else is there to say on the historical facts ?

    Those are the historical facts.

    —-

” You hold no brief for the Pope? ”

As I said , I respect Apostolic Succession , which is to say I respect the office and the tradition , not the man.

I do not know any other way to put it.

Frankly the last Pope I respected without reservation , that is , of the Popes I am actually familiar with , was Pius XII .

    — The fellow our enemies deceptively call , ” Hitler’s Pope ” , whom the church tries stupidly and lamely to defend ,

when , at least in my opinion , their response should be instead , ” All else aside , that lies not within your authority , so fuck off. ”

As far as I can tell , WHETHER we are talking about Traditionalists , or Novus Ordo – types ,

I seem to be in a tiny minority which views the Papacy as a full – fledged temporal authority , second to no other.

Indeed , I at least suspect that many , if not all ( ? ) of the things traditionalists bitch about are a direct result of the Church bending over backwards and taking it up the ass from Johnny – come – lately secular authorities , who by all rights should be strictly inferior authorities.

Or , to put it in plain words , for the average Catholic today , like for the average Protestant today , the state , not the church , is first.

The folks who make license plates and issue fishing licenses are the true be all , and end all.

Religion is really just a hobby – type thing , which you can just as well practice in the bathroom or the closet , with the door locked.

Which is to say that the genuine religion is the state. Period.

Why even bother to recite the Nicene Creed ? One might as well save the bother and just recite the Pledge of Allegiance ( to this state they cooked up yesterday )

ROMAN Catholic used to , indirectly , mean we curb – stomped and supplanted the Romans.

Now it apparently means we are back to sucking the Romans knee caps .

    Hail Caesar !

    Sieg Heil ! .

    Liberte , Egalite , Fraternite !

or what the fuck ever .

Fucking pathetic in my eyes , to tell the truth.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out that I am the only layperson in my entire diocese who flies the Papal flag in my front yard.

And I really can’t say why our Diocesan Cathedral does fly the Papal flag in their front yard ?

At least , I have noticed , the Papal flag pole is at least equal in length to the US flag pole. So our flag is not lower.
Gee , thanks at least for small favors , eh ?

As far as I know , I’m the only person I know who would be appalled by the removal of the Papal Tiara from Papal iconography.

And I’m afraid we are headed that way.

I seem to be the only person who recalls the Avignon Exile , and what a fucking catastrophe that was.

” Gee , why must the Papacy be a temporal sovereignty , and isn’t that embarrassing ? ”

Are you out of your fucking mind ? Without that temporal sovereignty we are scarcely more than puppets to next weeks fucking regime change. At the mercy of every , and any , vote !

Maybe all of this at least gives you a general , vague , idea of my thoughts on the matter of the Papacy ?

    —-

” Alas, you are no doubt a Novus Ordo-er. ”

I entered the Church in 2014. ( On the eve of the First World War , one hundred years removed . 🙂 )

So I have never even seen a traditional Mass.

Superficially though , while to hear a Mass in German might be nice ( except I have never seen / heard that either )

I am right out of the starting gate suspicious of the replacement of Latin . What exactly was wrong with a language of our own as a universal language ?

It looks suspiciously like again pandering to the secular powers , and the eccentric individual conceits of the moment ?

As it was , it was Latin for the Germans , and Latin for the Americans , and Latin for the Zambians. Fair to all in a sense.

Again though , while traditionalists are so upset about Novus Ordo , I’m still upset that we no longer have our own courts.

Which it seems to me is like you are upset over the barn hardware , while the barn has burned down.

You have said though that I seem fixated on the past.

It seems to me , though , that making compromises with the present is how you wound up neck deep in shit to begin with.

Noo , if it was fucking wrong 300 years ago , it’s still fucking wrong now.

    Pedo priests ?

TO BEGIN WITH I’m upset that I even have to discuss that — WITH ENEMIES.

Never fucking mind who diddled who , or if they did , or how much , or what the fuck ever ,

THAT IS SURRENDERING SOVEREIGNTY IN MY OWN HOUSE to a stranger —- who may not even be a friend , who may even be an enemy , and who is damn certainly not a fucking neutral.

And humility , and turning the other cheek , does not gloss over that , or excuse it.

Good reason , or bad excuse , it’s still letting the wolf in the hen house.

As far as I can tell , Novus Ordo was not the beginning of the rot. The outright poison was already well advanced.

    —-

” Maybe Orthodoxy would have fit you better. ”

The nearest Orthodox Church is a two hour drive.

Ironically though , that doesn’t seem to mean much now with Social Distancing and Masks in the Mass.

Granted , I think Covid is total bullshit.

However , how do I reconcile transubstantiation and Social Distancing and masks ?

    I can’t. 🙁

Believe it or not , I was perfectly prepared to go to Mass even if it were Bubonic Plague. The Mass is not a fucking suggestion , right ?

But this ?! This is slimy , cowardly , waffling , pussy shit !

I haven’t been to Mass since July.

But then , on other fronts , well , I don’t even like the US government , but how far you have fallen , first with 911 and now this ludicrous shit ?

It’s too depressing for even chastisement. 🙁

In any case , Orthodox was out of the question anyway.

Christ called for a unified Church , and a thousand years later , the Orthodox balking at the Papacy strikes me as untoward.

Just as , 200 years later , though I can’t stand the British , and hate the British Empire , never the less the American rejection of the Monarchy strikes me as fundamentally untoward.

Thomas Jefferson supposedly said , ” In matters of fashion , go with the flow , in matters of principle , stand like a rock. ”

I think the son of a bitch should have heeded his own advice.

Nice answers. And flying the Papal flag is very original and cool – like Trump flying a giant American flag in a upper class Florida neighborhood.

See if this works for you. I was a dyed in the wool Sedevacantist until I finally thought about the Barnhardt hypothesis. And sure enough: it fits in with the Petrine Doctrine and explains why previous rotten Popes were unable to bring down the Church. I reviewed some catechisms I had lying around and it fits. Pope Benedict is still the only living Pope – whether he likes it or not. We don’t say he’s a good one, just that he is the One! And since Bergoglio is not valid, the Church is left undefended against Satan since he is NOT the Pope.

      https://www.barnhardt.biz/2020/11/16/barnhardts-bergoglian-antipapacy-video-presentations-on-bitchute/

It’s a bit of a slog (over two hours) but I took it in three segments and I’ve grown to like Anne. No one has taught me more over the last half dozen years than her. There is a part two, but I haven’t gotten it to it yet. Soon. All this may be written down someplace if that works better for you, not sure.

Archbishop Vigano seems to have indirectly said that Bergoglio is not the Pope. But I don’t think he has come out and said that Benedict is.

The Churches by and large threw away their hard fought for rights, ones that our Constitution said they had inalienably. As the goofy but ruthless Governor of NJ said, “They didn’t seem to mind”. I bet he’s right.

        I was going to write an elaboration of my statement ;

” THAT IS SURRENDERING SOVEREIGNTY IN MY OWN HOUSE to a stranger —- who may not even be a friend , who may even be an enemy , and who is damn certainly not a fucking neutral. ”

But it seems to me , I might as well tack it on to your ,

” One thing Trump has given men which I never expected to see in my lifetime: he brought back the Tariff, that builder of Nations. I had never even heard the word pronounced on air before Trump, so deeply was it buried. ”

        and ;

A year ago I read a biography of Howard Hughes. I did not find him to be at all a likeable man . On the contrary , I found him terribly unsavory.

But making his acquaintance I thought did pay off in one case.

        He said once at the end of his life , paraphrasing from memory ;

        People think I am unreasonable.

And I suppose I am TOO THEM , as regards their interests.

But I have consistently found that people think they can make a compromise now , and go back to the way things were later.

        No.

        The compromise is permanent.

You will either play hell getting thing to go back to the way they were , or it will simply be impossible.

        So , no , I never compromise. ”

I’m afraid that as unlikable and as unsavory as Howard Hughes was , he was right.

Off the top of my head I can think of at least 10 authors you’ve quoted, from Robert Penn Warren to Fyodor Dostoevsky to Solzhenitsyn. Vaccine Development, Testing, and Regulation
Paul Offit, MD, describes the general process of making a vaccine.
The College of Physicians of Philadelphia

Offit 5: How to Make a Vaccine Offit 6: Vaccine Safety Monitoring Diphtheria Antitoxin Influenza Research
Vaccine development is a long, complex process, often lasting 10-15 years and involving a combination of public and private involvement.

The current system for developing, testing, and regulating vaccines developed during the 20th century as the groups involved standardized their procedures and regulations.

    Government Oversight
    In the United States
At the end of the 19th century, several vaccines for humans had been developed. They were smallpox, rabies, plague, cholera, and typhoid vaccines. However, no regulation of vaccine production existed.

On July 1, 1902, the U.S. Congress passed “An act to regulate the sale of viruses, serums, toxins, and analogous products,” later referred to as the Biologics Control Act (even though “biologics” appears nowhere in the law). This was the first modern federal legislation to control the quality of drugs. This act emerged in part as a response to 1901 contamination events in St. Louis and Camden involving smallpox vaccine and diphtheria antitoxin.

The Act created the Hygienic Laboratory of the U.S. Public Health Service to oversee manufacture of biological drugs. The Hygienic Laboratory eventually became the National Institutes of Health. The Act established the government’s right to control the establishments where vaccines were made.

The United States Public Service Act of 1944 mandated that the federal government issue licenses for biological products, including vaccines. After a poliovirus vaccine accident in 1954 (known as the Cutter incident), the Division of Biologics Standards was formed to oversee vaccine safety and regulation. Later, the DBS was renamed the Bureau of Biologics, and it became part of the Food and Drug Administration. It is now know as the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research.

    Elsewhere
In the European Union, the European Medicines Agency supervises regulation of vaccines and other drugs. A committee of the World Health Organization makes recommendations for biological products used internationally. Many countries have adopted the WHO standards.

Stages of Vaccine Development and Testing
In the United States, vaccine development and testing follow a standard set of steps. The first stages are exploratory in nature. Regulation and oversight increase as the candidate vaccine makes its way through the process.

First Steps: Laboratory and Animal Studies
    Exploratory Stage
This stage involves basic laboratory research and often lasts 2-4 years. Federally funded academic and governmental scientists identify natural or synthetic antigens that might help prevent or treat a disease. These antigens could include virus-like particles, weakened viruses or bacteria, weakened bacterial toxins, or other substances derived from pathogens.

    Pre-Clinical Stage
Pre-clinical studies use tissue-culture or cell-culture systems and animal testing to assess the safety of the candidate vaccine and its immunogenicity, or ability to provoke an immune response. Animal subjects may include mice and monkeys. These studies give researchers an idea of the cellular responses they might expect in humans. They may also suggest a safe starting dose for the next phase of research as well as a safe method of administering the vaccine.

Researchers may adapt the candidate vaccine during the pre-clinical state to try to make it more effective. They may also do challenge studies with the animals, meaning that they vaccinate the animals and then try to infect them with the target pathogen.

Many candidate vaccines never progress beyond this stage because they fail to produce the desired immune response. The pre-clinical stages often lasts 1-2 years and usually involves researchers in private industry.

    IND Application
A sponsor, usually a private company, submits an application for an Investigational New Drug (IND) to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The sponsor describes the manufacturing and testing processes, summarizes the laboratory reports, and describes the proposed study. An institutional review board, representing an institution where the clinical trial will be conducted, must approve the clinical protocol. The FDA has 30 days to approve the application.

Once the IND application has been approved, the vaccine is subject to three phases of testing.

Next Steps: Clinical Studies with Human Subjects
    Phase I Vaccine Trials
This first attempt to assess the candidate vaccine in humans involves a small group of adults, usually between 20-80 subjects. If the vaccine is intended for children, researchers will first test adults, and then gradually step down the age of the test subjects until they reach their target. Phase I trials may be non-blinded (also known as open-label in that the researchers and perhaps subjects know whether a vaccine or placebo is used).

The goals of Phase 1 testing are to assess the safety of the candidate vaccine and to determine the type and extent of immune response that the vaccine provokes. In a small minority of Phase 1 vaccine trials, researchers may use the challenge model, attempting to infect participants with the pathogen after the experimental group has been vaccinated. The participants in these studies are carefully monitored and conditions are carefully controlled. In some cases, an attenuated, or modified, version of the pathogen is used for the challenge.

A promising Phase 1 trial will progress to the next stage.

    Phase II Vaccine Trials
A larger group of several hundred individuals participates in Phase II testing. Some of the individuals may belong to groups at risk of acquiring the disease. These trials are randomized and well controlled, and include a placebo group.

The goals of Phase II testing are to study the candidate vaccine’s safety, immunogenicity, proposed doses, schedule of immunizations, and method of delivery.

    Phase III Vaccine Trials
Successful Phase II candidate vaccines move on to larger trials, involving thousands to tens of thousands of people. These Phase III tests are randomized and double blind and involve the experimental vaccine being tested against a placebo (the placebo may be a saline solution, a vaccine for another disease, or some other substance).

One Phase III goal is to assess vaccine safety in a large group of people. Certain rare side effects might not surface in the smaller groups of subjects tested in earlier phases. For example, suppose that an adverse event related to a candidate vaccine might occur in 1 of every 10,000 people. To detect a significant difference for a low-frequency event, the trial would have to include 60,000 subjects, half of them in the control, or no vaccine, group (Plotkin SA et al. Vaccines, 5th ed. Philadelphia: Saunders, 2008).

Vaccine efficacy is tested as well. These factors might include 1) Does the candidate vaccine prevent disease? 2) Does it prevent infection with the pathogen? 3) Does it lead to production of antibodies or other types of immune responses related to the pathogen?

    Next Steps: Approval and Licensure
After a successful Phase III trial, the vaccine developer will submit a Biologics License Application to the FDA. Then the FDA will inspect the factory where the vaccine will be made and approve the labeling of the vaccine.

After licensure, the FDA will continue to monitor the production of the vaccine, including inspecting facilities and reviewing the manufacturer’s tests of lots of vaccines for potency, safety and purity. The FDA has the right to conduct its own testing of manufacturers’ vaccines.

    Post-Licensure Monitoring of Vaccines
A variety of systems monitor vaccines after they have been approved. They include Phase IV trials, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, and the Vaccine Safety Datalink.

    Phase IV Trials
Phase IV trial are optional studies that drug companies may conduct after a vaccine is released. The manufacturer may continue to test the vaccine for safety, efficacy, and other potential uses.

    VAERS
The CDC and FDA established The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System in 1990. The goal of VAERS, according to the CDC, is “to detect possible signals of adverse events associated with vaccines.” (A signal in this case is evidence of a possible adverse event that emerges in the data collected.) About 30,000 events are reported each year to VAERS. Between 10% and 15% of these reports describe serious medical events that result in hospitalization, life-threatening illness, disability, or death.

VAERS is a voluntary reporting system. Anyone, such as a parent, a health care provider, or friend of the patient, who suspects an association between a vaccination and an adverse event may report that event and information about it to VAERS. The CDC then investigates the event and tries to find out whether the adverse event was in fact caused by the vaccination.

The CDC states that they monitor VAERS data to

Detect new, unusual, or rare vaccine adverse events
Monitor increases in known adverse events
Identify potential patient risk factors for particular types of adverse events
Identify vaccine lots with increased numbers or types of reported adverse events
Assess the safety of newly licensed vaccines
Not all adverse events reported to VAERS are in fact caused by a vaccination. The two occurrences may be related in time only. And, it is probable that not all adverse events resulting from vaccination are reported to VAERS. The CDC states that many adverse events such as swelling at the injection site are underreported. Serious adverse events, according to the CDC, “are probably more likely to be reported than minor ones, especially when they occur soon after vaccination, even if they may be coincidental and related to other causes.”

VAERS has successfully identified several rare adverse events related to vaccination. Among them are

An intestinal problem after the first vaccine for rotavirus was introduced in 1999
Neurologic and gastrointestinal diseases related to yellow fever vaccine
Additionally, according to Plotkin et al., VAERS identified a need for further investigation of MMR association with a blood clotting disorder, encephalopathy after MMR, and syncope after immunization (Plotkin SA et al. Vaccines, 5th ed. Philadelphia: Saunders, 2008).

    Vaccine Safety Datalink
The CDC established this system in 1990. The VSD is a collection of linked databases containing information from large medical groups. The linked databases allow officials to gather data about vaccination among the populations served by the medical groups. Researchers can access the data by proposing studies to the CDC and having them approved.

The VSD has some drawbacks. For example, few completely unvaccinated children are listed in the database. The medical groups providing information to VSD may have patient populations that are not representative of large populations in general. Additionally, the data come not from randomized, controlled, blinded trials but from actual medical practice. Therefore, it may be difficult to control and evaluate the data.

Rapid Cycle Analysis is a program of the VSD, launched in 2005. It monitors real-time data to compare rates of adverse events in recently vaccinated people with rates among unvaccinated people. The system is used mainly to monitor new vaccines. Among the new vaccines being monitored in Rapid Cycle Analysis are the conjugated meningococcal vaccine, rotavirus vaccine, MMRV vaccine, Tdap vaccine, and the HPV vaccine. Possible associations between adverse events and vaccination are then studied further.

    In Conclusion
Vaccines are developed, tested, and regulated in a very similar manner to other drugs. In general, vaccines are even more thoroughly tested than non-vaccine drugs because the number of human subjects in vaccine clinical trials is usually greater. In addition, post-licensure monitoring of vaccines is closely examined by the Centers for Disease Control and the FDA.

      Janos

How many times do I have to ask you not to (a) misquote me and (b) misinterpret what I’ve said?

The only place I actually mentioned testing being ongoing, in an approved vaccine, was Russia, where the Sputnik vaccine was approved and the vaccination programme started before the stage 3 trials were remotely complete. The stage 2 trials, as far as I’m aware, involved two sets of 38 volunteers in two hospitals. Pfizer’s trials involved 42,000 people – half given the vaccine, half a placebo.

I most certainly said that I shared people’s concerns generally about the speed with which the vaccine(s) are being trialled and approved, which is why I said I was sitting very comfortably on the fence for now monitoring events. The Oxford team insist no corners have been cut, and that the speed has been due to certain parts of the development/testing/production being run concurrently. I’m not in a position to judge that, but I agree (and have said I agree) that it can take years for uncommon side effects – of any vaccine or medication – to be uncovered. But that’s because they’re uncommon.

Pretty much everything has side effects. Some people are allergic to penicillin, as I mentioned, but the idea that we should stop using drugs in the penicillin family would be ridiculous, given the lives they save. And there’s no way of knowing who’s allergic to it unless they’re prescribed it (decades now after trials).

About two days ago, we were told 350,000 British people had been given the Pfizer vaccine. Two of them had an anaphylactic reaction (they both had a history of serious allergies) and a third possibly had a lighter reaction.

That might still be the total after 1 million vaccinations. Forgive me for not hyperventilating about that particular risk, especially when it was made clear to the public almost instantly, and people with serious allergies advised not to get it. How many people out of 350,000 or 1 million would die or almost of the actual disease – or, for a more accurate comparison, not even die but just be seriously ill for a day or two? If two babies and a 13-year-old dying of Covid is statistically insignificant, then I expect two people with a history of serious allergy getting a serious reaction – but, significantly, not dying to be treated with the same shrug of the shoulders.

What I said is ongoing is monitoring. That happens anyway. The trial volunteers will be monitored for years and adverse events in the community will also be monitored and documented.

But I won’t wait years – I expect to make up my mind, re my personal choice, some time next year. I’d quite like to have another vaccine or two to choose from, including the Oxford one (which doesn’t happen to be an mRNA vaccine). In fact, just for the hell of it, I quite like the idea of the hypothetical Oxford-Sputnik hybrid. Nothing wrong with a bit of Anglo-Russian scientific co-operation. 🙂

      • Yohannon December 20, 2020 at 1:47 pm #

Well I do hope we get such consumer choice. They are rushing so much that I see no signs of it yet. You get what you get and are supposed to be grateful. I want the Oxford too then, even if it’s just saline solution.

Review my post on vaccine history. The rush is unprecedented. No testing whatsoever since testing comes before mass dissemination. Other vaccines took years to be declared safe. This kind of speed, kills.

        • GreenAlba December 20, 2020 at 3:24 pm #

Saying ‘no testing whatsoever’ is disingenuous. 21,000 vaccinated volunteers is not ‘no testing whatsoever’. But I agree with you – and have before – that nothing like the usual time has passed in the follow-up (of the trial participants) stage.

I don’t know how ‘choice’ will work out, as more vaccines become available. It will be different in different countries. In the UK we will definitely be offered the Oxford vaccine, when it is approved, because it doesn’t need to be kept at an insanely low temperature and it will cost about five times less than the Pfizer one. And it’s ‘ours’ of course.

But any new vaccine is a risk, and life is full of risks, as you keep pointing out. For myself, I am at risk from the disease. You presumably are not. So my choice will be different, and I really fancy getting my life back and being able to do what I choose without worrying and having my kids worrying for me.

        • GreenAlba December 20, 2020 at 4:35 pm #

For the sake of honesty I have to remind you that both the Oxford vaccine and the Sputnik vaccine will be considered ‘tainted’ by those who want nothing to do with medications that have used fetal cell lines in any way, even for testing (that means you can’t have the Regeneron that Trump had either).

I’m not going to get over-exercised about that, despite my lack of enthusiasm for abortion generally, because (a) the connection is utterly tenuous at this stage and (b) both of us have almost certainly already taken other medications in the same category, without knowing it. Not that Big Pharma has deliberately aborted any children anyway, to my knowledge.

It reminds me (although it is clearly not in the same ‘human’ category) of the fuss made by some zealous vegans over here, on the appearance of the new plastic five-pound notes, in whose production tallow was used. They wanted them withdrawn. Nobody had explained to the poor dears that tallow is also used for rolling steel, so if they want to remain pure they’re going to have to stay away from cars, bicycles, ships, trains, buses, and buildings too. Oh dear.

I’ll give you the list again with the annotations regarding the use of fetal cell lines, for your information. Although I don’t know why, really, since you have no intention of taking any vaccine, a choice that is just as valid as mine will be once I’ve made it.

Prevention Access Campaign and Undetectable = Untransmittable

Prevention Access Campaign is a health equity initiative to end the dual epidemics of HIV and HIV-related stigma by empowering people with and vulnerable to HIV with accurate and meaningful information about their social, sexual, and reproductive health.

Prevention Access Campaign’s Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U) is a growing global community of HIV advocates, activists, researchers, and over 1,000 Community Partners from 102 countries uniting to clarify and disseminate the revolutionary but largely unknown fact that people living with HIV who are on treatment and have an undetectable viral load cannot sexually transmit HIV.
    ?
U=U was launched in early 2016 by a group of people living with HIV who created a groundbreaking Consensus Statement with global experts to clear up confusion about the science of U=U. That Statement was the genesis of the U=U movement that is changing the definition of what it means to live with HIV. The movement is sharing the message to dismantle HIV stigma, improve the lives of people living with HIV, and bring us closer to ending the epidemic.

    Why is U=U Important?

A groundswell of research confirms that when a person living with HIV is on effective treatment, it will reduce the level of HIV to “undetectable” levels which protects their health and makes them incapable of transmitting HIV to their sexual partners, or what we call “Undetectable = Untransmittable: U=U”. As a prevention strategy, this is often referred to as Treatment as Prevention.

The U=U message is an unprecedented opportunity to transform the lives of millions of people with and affected by HIV and to radically transform the field:

Well-being of people with HIV: Transforms the social, sexual, and reproductive lives of people with HIV by freeing them from the shame and fear of sexual transmission to their partners.
HIV stigma: Dismantles the HIV stigma that has been destroying lives and impeding progress in the field since the beginning of the epidemic.
Treatment goals: Reduces the anxiety associated with testing, and encourages people living with HIV to stay on treatment to stay healthy and prevent transmission.
Universal access: Offers a public health argument to increase access and remove barriers to treatment, care, and diagnostics to save lives and prevent new transmissions.
    ?
It’s a game changer for people living with HIV and for the field that people on effective treatment cannot transmit HIV, but it’s still widely unknown. U=U and our partners are changing the narrative.
    Our Strategy

The U=U movement aims to ensure the groundbreaking U=U research reaches the people and the field it was intended to benefit. Together, we’re changing the the narrative about people with HIV and HIV prevention.

    preventionaccess.org/about

Yoho: Go there and read down a bit: U=U was endorsed by the CDC in September 2017. They really are all over the place, eh? Is this now rescinded? Or will Gays maintain a special status as per their marginalized virtue just like Blacks?

So go ahead and have sex with that hot drug addict you’ve been eye balling. She or He likes drugs so they are no doubt taking their meds religiously.

        Undectable = Untransmittable

How dare you denigrate “our” CDC!

        • GreenAlba December 20, 2020 at 12:29 pm #

I know what you said – well, sort of – I just don’t understand why you addressed to me, since it’s about HIV and your CDC.

I hope you’re not trying to make the point that if HIV is not transmissible when undetectable, this must be true of Covid19, because to my admittedly non-medical mind that doesn’t necessarily make much sense.

‘Undetectable’ as in no symptoms or ‘undetectable’ as in not detectable using an accurate test? We know that Covid19 is transmissible without symptoms – I presume if it’s undetectable by any test, that means you haven’t got it (any more)?

SARS-CoV-1 wasn’t transmissible asymptomatically, although I don’t know anything about its transmissibility symptomatically but with very low viral loads. But as there was no asymptomatic transmission (unlike SARS-CoV2) it was much easier to contain and was therefore contained, thankfully.

          • Yohannon December 20, 2020 at 12:58 pm #

You still believe our testing is real, lol? Hopeless you are. The World has become obsessed with just such medical intangibles, as all our rights are stripped away, our downtowns are strip mined, and world poverty doubles. Deaths of all sorts are up and tens of millions are going to die in the 3rd World – and here as well as we become 3rd World. But of course none of this is as important as Covid 19 being transmitted (very rarely) without symptoms.

Penny wise, pound foolish to the bitter end. Thankfully, you are not you. You are not who you appear to be, even to yourself. You show symptoms of being a fool, and seek to transmit it. But below that, you are healthy. You just need to find that core of health and stop believing that you are the symptoms.

          • GreenAlba December 20, 2020 at 3:37 pm #

The reason I used the terms ‘accurate test’ and ‘any test was because I know, like everyone else, that the current tests generally used are far from being 100% accurate. They only function as a rough guide, at best. So the point was hypothetical, as you should have realised. It was about definitions.

My personal view is that tests should be mostly limited to hospital and care staff (how else do you propose to help keep care home residents and hospital patients as safe as possible?), and they should get whatever tests have proven themselves to be most accurate. And patients/residents, obviously.

I consider testing ‘in the community’ to be more or less an utter waste of time and resources. But here it’s keeping Boris’ cronies like Baroness Dildo in the manner to which she’s become accustomed.

All that needs to be monitored, for the management of the situation, is hospitalisations, as far as I’m concerned.

Since ‘cases’ in the community are statistically related to hospitalisations, we don’t need both, although the claim may be that we need one to predict the other.

I don’t need to know about deaths either, unless they suddenly increase tenfold. I need to know that, if people have a heart attack or a Covid attack, or need a cancer operation in a Covid-light hospital or hospital department, they can be accommodated. That’s all. Although it would be good to have a test accurate enough to ensure that, if your relative has to go into hospital for a life-saving operation, they are not going to be operated on for 14 hours by surgeons with Covid.

Anybody see Beijing Biden’s speech introducing his ‘Climate Change Team.’

He spent the first 10 minutes lauding the fact there were no ‘White Males’ on the Climate Change Team, another 10 minutes talking about ‘Climate Justice’ which at its core seems to be yet another shakedown of Whitey.

A new ‘Climate Change Corps’ is being created, staffed by enthusiastic young activists. Imagine what they will be like. (think Consomol and Red Guards) Also, “hundreds of thousands” of Climate Friendly public housing units proposed — mostly likely to be built in your neighborhood.

Additionally, Biden looks unwell. He is not speaking clearly, slurring his words, and has a waxy sheen about him. He was coughing up lungers. One has to wonder, what is Biden really all about?

Of course there was the usual bullsh#t about windmills and solar panels, electrifying everything, “taking on and defeating big oil and big coal”, decarbonizing transportation, high speed electric trains … IOW, brace yourself for $6 per gallon gas, brownouts and blackouts, unaffordable utility bills, and driving around in $60,000 POS EVs, which of course will subsidized.

More wildfires, more toxic wastes from old solar panels and windmills, lots more dead birds, hopefully only $6 a gallon, there will never be wide use of EV cars at $60000 a copy, not even $40000 a copy.

JHK talks a lot about the financial debacle of fracking, yet it is still around, because it is a necessity.

How come we have never seen a economic feasibility model for wind, solar, hydrogen, nuclear, etc? Michael Moore gave us a good picture of just the practicality of alternative sources and he was clobbered by his cohorts on the Left. Amazing how that happens when someone approaches the truth.

Trump’s reaction to all this, IMHO, should have been supporting development of France level (80%), of nuclear energy, away from urban centers. Develop one form of plant and get really good at supporting that plant logistically. Let Musk shoot all the waste into space!

      BRH,
$6.00…you are an uncurbable optimist. Remember several years back when it hit $5.00. Those will be considered “the good old days”.

    Invermectin, very interesting. Anti parasite.

One of the things that keeps eating at me about Covid being a weapon is the total denial of any “fixes” for the crud. Everything brought up by domestic or foreign studies is immediately dismissed by our “scientists”. This is two drugs, a anti-malarial and anti-parasite, that have been dismissed for potential side effects. Not just ignored, actively suppressed. Side effects? How come the vaccine is being released joyfully with all kinds of side effects?

Fixit drugs being suppressed to people with serious cases of the crud, yet the vaccines are fully accepted.

Something is not kosher here. Every weapon should have been used to fight the crud during the last year. Many studies supported the quinine drug, and Trump wanted this explored. Oh, no? Shut it down. Shut down every fixit drug! Why? What is the medical field getting out of unnecessarily killing thousands of folks denying them potential cures? What are they getting out of this? If this is nothing but an antiTrump move, these people should be tried and incarcerated. A pandemic such as this should have any potential solution thrown at it. I wonder how many people could have been saved?

I also wonder how much of the economic gap between us and China has been closed.

The UK has detected a new strain that is more communicable than the current, and the vaccines efficacy against it are unknown. Great! We had better stop with vaccines and get a virus killer started up.

Let’s send a few Angloviruses back to China and even the score.

No wait, Biden has told us that China is not a problem for the US. Relax, everything is totally in control.

      JohnAZ:

According to what I have read, the FDA can not legally grant an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for a vaccine if there already exists an effective treatment for the disease. Thus Ivermectin, which is very effective against Covid 19, would stand as a barrier against a new vaccine, if it was an accepted treatment. Therefore it is being suppressed.

Ivermectin is also very cheap. There is little profit ti be made from it.

      j

      • beantownbill. December 20, 2020 at 12:18 pm #

You are so correct. Karl Denninger has lately been railing about the EUA effects regarding Ivermectin. He says that medical groups will sanction doctors if

        • beantownbill. December 20, 2020 at 12:24 pm #

…they prescribe it. According to Denninger, Ivermectin is so effective, if everyone took it, covid would disappear in one week. I researched Ivermectin on-line. It has interactions with several substances, lowering its efficacy. What stood out to me were the interactions with natural supplements, among others.

“Everything brought up by domestic or foreign studies is immediately dismissed by our “scientists”.”

Writing from memory here, but wasn’t DJT given, in addition to Regeneron, Dexamethosone, which proved to be effective (although not 100%, with all patients) in the UK Recovery trial?

And it’s cheap as chips, relatively speaking. So no-one hid it away either because it worked or because it is cheap.

Re the ‘new variant’, I gather that in some place or other than was mentioned, it accounts for 60% of new positives/’cases’ or whatever, so I guess the efficacy of the vaccine in relation to it will soon become clear, although scientific opinion currently seems to be that it is unlikely to be different from other strains in that regard.

    …well….

Do you remember “the dog”? Yes, K-Dog. ‘Bout six months ago he went off the rails…embracing the shit-storm that is now Seattle, Wa.

Well, he is about to get his fondest dreams enabled. A news site, of, lets face it, dubious veracity, has reported that the City Council is considering de-criminalizing ALL misdemeanor charges, if it can be established that they were caused as a result of mental illness, drug abuse, or poverty…THE BULLSHIT TRIFECTA!

    https://www.naturalnews.com/2020-12-19-seattle-considering-bill-legalize-misdemeanor-crimes.html

The Dog, as I recall, is a septugenarian…he should be advised that getting the shit beat out of you on the street is usually a misdemeanor…or your car trashed with a baseball bat…or the spokes from your electric bicycle shoved up…well, you get the picture.

He will get his excitement and diversity…good, hard and plenty of it….

A week ago KOMO released a follow up to last year’s ‘Seattle is Dying’. Its quite lengthy, but worth a look.

Spoiler alert! The city is worse than you can imagine. Levels of political and criminal violence, squalor, vagrants living on the streets and in public parks, boarded up store fronts, closed businesses, vandalism, grafitti and drug addiction is beyond comprehension.

History is replete with abandoned cities, even right here in the Western Hemisphere; don’t be surprised if Seattle (and Portland) join their ranks. I doubt if there is any coming back from what ails Seattle, Washington.
