The abiding mystery of the 2020 election is how come the Democratic Party, wishing so zealously to win back power, took pains to nominate a candidate weaker than the ghost of Millard Fillmore. Resorting to Occam’s Razor, one might have to conclude that Joe Biden was simply the best they had — a surefire case for the party’s necessary extinction.

The Labor Day starting-gun kicks off the high campaign season and Ol’ White Joe wobbles forth from his lair under a rock somewhere to dazzle audiences of six or eight sympathetic journos posed in “social distancing” formation while the party’s Antifa and BLM shock troops soften up voters elsewhere across the land with vote-winning riots, arson, and looting. There’s a recipe for political success!

You have to wonder how the claque of DC deep state players behind this fiasco could come up with a game-plan so stupidly inept… but there it is! Apparently, they’re laying further plans now to bum-rush Ol’ Joe into the White House by main force with a “color revolution” — that is, an orchestrated fake popular revolt as in the Ukraine Maidan regime change operation of 2014. In fact, as Revolver News reports, the same wrecking crew of US State Department officials, intel spooks, contract insurrectionists, and George Soros-sponsored NGO intriguers is behind the US 2020 “Transition Integrity Project” aimed at launching a US post-election coup against Mr. Trump, no matter how the election actually goes.

The plan was all over the web wires this holiday weekend. Everybody knows exactly what to expect now: a November 3 Trump election victory followed by a king-tide of post-election write-in votes for Ol’ Joe… a long, drawn-out, and surely inconclusive battle trying to validate scores of millions of postmarks and signatures… and a skein of Lawfare-managed shenanigans conducted in battleground state legislatures to change-out electoral college slates. And any objections by Mr. Trump and his party will be labeled as Putin-backed fascist treason.

Will that result in Mr. Biden actually gliding into the oval office? No, it will bring on a years’ long quasi civil war sure to finish off the institutions of a federal republic and also whatever remains of the US economy. Is that what y’all really want, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary & Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Adam Schiff, Bill Kristol, David Frum, Dean Baquet, and five hundred other seditious political degenerates out there?

A centerpiece of the operation is the planned 50-day protest beginning mid-month in Lafayette Square, across the way from the White House. We’re supposed to expect the usual Hieronymus Bosch spectacle of Antifa / BLM antics: fireworks, bullhorns, lasers, flying water bottles, tranny dances, toppled statues, smashed fences. That ragtag mob and their Democratic Party “allies” have been trying their goshdarndest for half a year to produce a crop of Kent State style martyrs at the hands of police to horrify the conscience of the nation…but so far, no luck.

Instead they have to settle for a succession of thugs-on-drugs resisting arrest violently, and getting themselves shot or killed in the process. The latest ringer, one Daniel Prude of Rochester, New York, is actually a catch-up case from last March, sort of a bench player for “the Resistance,” put into the game to counter the bad publicity from the Sept. 3 murder in Portland, OR, of Aaron Danielson by “100-percent Antifa” Michael Forest Reinoehl.

In the Rochester case, the police were initially contacted by the victim’s brother after Mr. Prude “acted erratically,” including diving down a flight of stairs head-first. After an evaluation in a Rochester hospital, Mr. Prude came home, freaked out again, and took off his clothing in the street. Police returned to the scene. During his arrest, Mr. Prude raved, “Give me that gun,” and spat at the officers. Since the Covid-19 outbreak had started weeks earlier, the cops put a hood on Mr. Prude to avoid his projected body fluids and physically subdued him. In the process, he went unconscious and eight days later was pronounced dead. Of course, his death was declared “a homicide,” with “excited delirium and acute intoxication by phencyclidine, or PCP (aka “angel dust”) listed as “a contributing factor.” Now, months later, BLM and Antifa forces are mobilized and procede to riot, trashing another Democratic Party-governed city.

Quite a clever election strategy: to wreak as much destruction as possible in cities they control so that voters naturally will blame it on the other party, led by its candidate, the wicked president Trump. Is it possible that plan is not working? That voters are perhaps drawing different conclusions — like maybe they’re getting wise to the seditious hustle being run on them, and maybe a little sick and tired of it?

The upcoming Lafayette Square “protest” will be interesting. The US government transferred management of Washington DC to a chartered city council and mayor with the District of Columbia Home Rule Act of 1973. The US retains certain prerogatives for safeguarding federal buildings, monuments, and other installations. DC Mayor Muriel Bowser demonstrated a lack of initiative for controlling mob violence during the June riots. Will she let it happen again during the election season?

So far this year, Mr. Trump has allowed the Democratic Party to disgrace itself in acquiescing to mobs and riots around the country. In DC, they’ll be daring him to draw the line, perhaps hoping for federal peace officers to step in and finally produce that crop of useful martyrs “the Resistance” longs for. Personally, I don’t think the voters are liable to blame the president for taking action against additional violent anarchy in the nation’s capital. Do you remember those words from the oath of office, by any chance: preserve, protect and defend? Meanwhile, Ol’ White Joe will be standing by, doing as much for his country as the ghost of Millard Fillmore.

Sick, disgusting, useless, tyrannical, Democrats. Can they not be hung for sedition?

No, but many may be hunted during the upcoming CW2.

The woke nazis have the upper hand in a civil war. They’ll control telecommunications. And the criminal justice system. And the armed forces. And they’ll have unfettered access to munitions.

        • benr September 7, 2020 at 1:56 pm #

No most of the military is still right of center.
Most gun toting people are also right of center.

        • Daddyotis September 7, 2020 at 2:17 pm #

The woke nazis are most certainly NOT in control in a civil war. In CW2, the criminal justice system will be kaput, telecom will revert from Facebook to GMRS radios, And the armed forces (the ones with the tactical training, anyways) will overwhelmingly be on the non-deep-state side.

Regarding The soy boy antifa’s access to “munitions”, there’s an ammo shortage happening right now, and if you weren’t locked and loaded some time ago, those new guns all the libs just bought are going to have to be used as clubs

Went to a gun show last Saturday, most ammo for sale was outrageously overpriced $60 For a box of 50 357 magnum 125 gr jpg. The good news Is that the coming national shitshow will look more like Chicago on a Saturday night- 60 wounded, 2 dead. There isn’t enough ammo for them to learn how to shoot straight.

I agree with Paulo in general here — Kunstler is sounding more off the rails every week.

Our blog host, and many of his fanboys here in the comments, perceive a world where a nefarious DNC pulls all the strings in some grand scheme. He of all people should know there’s no one capable of pulling off such a grand scheme, and in fact, the world as we know it today is the result of millions of people making zillions of decisions that add up to this: plain Jane Democratic primary voters picked Biden because they all saw him as the most moderate “normal” candidate, whom the greatest number of other voters could also get behind, and who is preferable to Trump. It’s not rocket science.

But all your conspiracies and excessively complex theories are fun to ponder over a beer & a bong load, I’m sure.

As for the people out in the streets, protesting police violence and American racism, well, they’re just driven by idealism and dissatisfaction with the old guard, of which Kunstler is at least generationally a part of. They also have a lot of time on their hands, given the collapse of the pre-pandemic debt & carbon bubble economy.

(Meanwhile, the looters & burners aren’t really worth mentioning — they’re hyped up vandals, as unfortunate as ever, and hopefully will be brought to bear soon enough by law authorities).

I’m over the hill, and it’s obvious that younger generations are going to set the agenda going forward, and the best I can do is step out of the way while offering some wise words to those youngsters I personally know.

        • shotho September 7, 2020 at 7:35 pm #

Biden is rising in the polls again. It’s hard to see what can stop him now. The country has Trump fatigue and think that things will settle down under Biden. We want a slow, bumbling guy who won’t upset people and let them go back to sleep. But, I think you’re wrong to believe that we’re just going back to some kind of ‘normal’. The damaged financial system won’t allow that; in fact, as it becomes apparent that the fake money of the last 25 years is sinking into a black hole is when the stuff really hits the fan.

        • Sredni Vashtar September 7, 2020 at 7:45 pm #

Yes, Whites need to be put on trial as a group. This is real idealism.

        • cbeard September 7, 2020 at 8:35 pm #

I’ve been busy, so I’m late to the party. Those who thinks Bide is preferable to anyone, are either sick, stupid or plain evil. As of yet, rocket science ain’t what it’s cracked up to be, as they still use glorified bottle rockets.

        • Zoltar September 7, 2020 at 8:45 pm #

76: Those who can’t escape the tractor beam of binary thinking try to insist that if Jim is criticizing the DNC then he must love the Republicans – an assumption based on precisely zero evidence.

Yes, there is nefarious control of our system, by the puppet masters who own both parties. Controlling both makes such things possible.

If your thinking ever evolves to the point at which you can wrap your head around that painfully obvious fact, then all will become reasonably clear.

          • Uncle Bob September 8, 2020 at 10:26 pm #

Trump, as flawed as he is, is the only national figure who stands between the Establishment and the end of the Constitution. The Dems want it gone because they want us to be another socialist utopia, where they get to enslave everyone for the benefit of the few. The Republican Establishment kind of wants the same thing, except which plutocrats get to call the shots. They both want to use Modern Monetary Theory to fund every idiotic idea with worthless paper that they think has value because Wall Street, the Fed, and some dumb TA they blinked for extra credit say so. So, if Trump loses to arguably the most corrupt politician in American history ( hundreds of millions of dollars in bribes from Ukraine, a billion and a half from China, etc.), we’ll get exactly what we deserve.

        • alandaviddoane September 8, 2020 at 9:46 am #

        • Exscotticus September 10, 2020 at 12:48 am #

So are you denying that there was a soft coup against Trump? That the FBI tampered with evidence? That they obtained a warrant to spy on Trump with evidence they knew was bogus? That Biden flat out lied about his involvement in Flynn’s prosecution? That nearly all of the mainstream media engage in double standards to support Biden, while continously attacking Trump? That they ask Biden softball questions, avoid his obvious mental issues, and collude in staged pressers where even the order of questioning is known in advance? That Dems and their media allies pretended for months that riots were not happening? And suddenly flipped when polls showed the three wise monkey strategy of not seeing, hearing, or speaking of Lefty mob violence wasn’t working?

November will be interesting, to say the least. A couple of things to add interest:

What will the weather be like in November? It is one thing to riot in the summer when the weather is fine, another to risk frostbite. It would be an ideal time to use fire hoses to break up “demonstrations”.

Look for insurance companies to start suing cities that have refused to suppress riots. Also, a lot of downtown commercial space will be red-lined, i.e. not insurable. This has apparently already happened in Minneapolis

  3. snagglepuss September 7, 2020 at 10:17 am #

So glad to see David Frum’s name included in the list of creeps. He’s a major league A-hole. A parasite who writes negatively about Trump but is happy to make money off him by writing shitty books.
I have never forgotten his ridiculous ‘Axis of Evil’ bullshit which included little Cuba, a country struggling to keep its head above water for the sin of pulling down the pants of those who elected to challenge its integrity at Playa de Giron. David Frum is my idea of nothing. We need to pull his Canadian citizenship. He’s pathetic.

Federal Justice policy is to not make any political indictments 60 days before an election. 60 days before the election was Friday, September 4. There were no indictments.

Now the incentive for the Democrats is to defeat Trump so they can fire the special prosecutor and prevent any indictments, ever.

However, I suspect you’re going to experience the same letdown that JHK experienced withObama, who prosecuted NO ONE (well, one guy) for the fraud on Wall Street. If Trump wins, don’t expect indictments. If he loses, maybe the indictments go out on 11/4.

Trump is like one of those late Byzantine emperors, a weak, narcissistic fellow who may really mean well at some level, but is powerless and surrounded by scheming court eunuchs and ambitious generals, all while the Ottoman hordes mass at the gates…

  6. joejoepelligrino September 7, 2020 at 10:25 am #

Terms like “liberal” or “conservative” are kind of meaningless at this point, but there was a good post I read awhile back about something called “The Opposite Rule of Liberalism.” In brief, one can figure out what the progs/Deep State/Intelligence Community/Dem party apparatus are doing based on what they’re accusing the other side of doing. #Metoo was supposed to unearth a mountain of dirt against republicans and instead showed how screwed up a lot of progressive “male feminist” types and mega-donors were; the “foreign collusion” thing turned out to be true, only it was a farmed/clover-leaf sourced sham dossier cooked up by an English intelligence agent to stop Trump from becoming president. Now we’re hearing a cacophony of “What’s going to happen if Trump loses and he refuses to leave?” and the natural question anyone with a functioning brain needs to ask themselves is: what’s going to happen if Trump wins again? There are too many unbalanced/unhinged progressives out there to accept that reality. Or, as Peter Strzok of the FBI might say, they no doubt have an insurance policy ready.

    • tlauria September 7, 2020 at 11:56 am #

I’ll go further. What happens if Trump wins 35 or more states and the mandate is crystal clear? What will the demented hang their hats on then?

It’s a helluva fix we’re in with a tragic dearth of leadership at almost every level. The failure of the current rickety configuration of the good old US of A seems a forgone conclusion. Makes one wonder what the next iteration is. In “The Nine Nations of North America” Joel Garreau describes the irrelevance of our geopolitical boundaries and the importance of what we have in common with others in our localities. I can see us breaking up into something governable.

    • tlauria September 7, 2020 at 11:50 am #

There’s a lesson of sorts in this. If the US of A as currently configured is too large to govern, what does that say about the viability of that insane idea known as Globalism or NWO? It’s no wonder the UN is such a sick joke.

      • JohnAZ September 7, 2020 at 12:32 pm #

Absolutely correct. Add the EU to your thought.

Bureaucracies need to have a maximum size limit before they collapse.

        • DrTomSchmidt September 7, 2020 at 12:42 pm #

Dunbar’s number: about 150 people is as large as you can go before yo need bureaucracy in place of trust.

Expect any organization larger than that to collapse back to that size, excepting bureaucracies able to tax outsiders to support them, like the military. There will be few others.

      • Ungaro September 8, 2020 at 2:38 am #

@tlauria: To know what the NWO would look like, take a look at how well the EU is working. Unelected supra-national bureaucracies always bring out the best in people and nations, don’t they?

Sage words from a drugged out vestige of the 60’s. Let us sing a verse from “Imagine”. Why can’t Liberals come up with concrete action plan about problems? Instead of rolling out another useless celebrity loaded concert or protest.

Easy! They do not have a single rational idea of what to do. So throw out the celebrities and lie, lie, lie.

Somehow, I’m imagining a helicopter landing on the roof of the White House with a desperate bunch scrambling up into the machine to be whisked away to an aircraft carrier off the coast. Shades of Saigon. The “orcs” are inside the wire or will be. The Pentagon said, “nothing doing. We ain’t coming.” When the Orc leadership is banging away in the Lincoln bedroom, folks in the hinterlands will find their few greenbacks are the equivalent of the Sears Catalog in grandma’s outhouse. Sooooooo…may I have more ammo sir? In the the space of a relative few weeks, the city of New York has gone under. If that alone doesn’t send up the signal flare that the shit has hit the fan, I don’t know what will. I have to admit though, having been unwillingly taken into the service of my country via the US Army and made into a “sucker” for going to Vietnam instead of Canada, I find the whole thing humorous in the sense of George Carlin. When the orcs are raping your neighborhood and burning your house down, remember to mail in your ballot before that.

    • JohnAZ September 7, 2020 at 11:42 am #

I am fascinated by the takeover of just about everything related to government in the country by the Democratic Party. Even 50% of the GOP has been taken over. The judiciary, the media, the House, the bureaucracy, most of Trump’s cabinet over the last four years, local governments everywhere, Silicon Valley, esp. the social media, California, New York and Chicago. The conservative folks seem to be constrained to two areas, the majority of the fly over states and Trump.

Wha’ happened? I think I know. GOP members of the Deep State typically get elected and stay for a few years then leave. Dems are lifetime electees, they accumulate with time. In DC, seniority is everything. The Dems are wise, they put their money into making these old timers permanent fixtures in DC. The GOP just leaves, the majority of just about every institution has become Democrat.

The only thing the Dems cannot overwhelm is the public vote of the fly over states, what elected Trump. So if that happens again, the Deep State is going to revolt and try to drive Trump out. Trump is the key, get him out and the coup is fait Accompli. Then the progression to a Liberal utopia can continue, in spite of what the majority of the US wants. Marx is smiling down on the USA right now, even after his rejection by Russia and China.

“Then the progression to a Liberal utopia can continue, in spite of what the majority of the US wants. Marx is smiling down on the USA right now, even after his rejection by Russia and China.”

This ignores one thing: funding. They’ve already looted the wealth of first the working class, and next the middle classes below the Professional/Managerial level. They’re able to fund their works by use of the Triffin Paradox, and the issuance of the global reserve currency which allows them to get stuff for free by issuing globally-accepted dollars to pay for it. To reinforce the global currency, they construct a military industrial complex that eats 850bln, with much of the moola from that going to connected skimmers.

The country is broke. We have issued 4trln in bonds on the credit of the USA, bonds supposedly to be paid off by those impoverished working and middle class workers whose jobs were eliminated by COVID lockdowns, as one last hit on the global reserve currency bank. Next is inflation, stealing value from the upper middle class in the form of devaluation of their financial assets, and from the white retired class by robbing the value of Social Security benefits.

After that, the utter and final collapse of the liberal utopia. It would be nice if we had built the railroads JHK wanted when we had the money (but blew it on Iraq) but we will have to get by with whatever physical assets we have.

        • JohnAZ September 7, 2020 at 12:38 pm #

The great weakness for all the markets is when the retirees want their bucks. They do not exist. This most obvious example is the current panic over SS and Medicare/Medicaid. Just the beginning.

Tons of bills to pay and no money to do it with. The inflation rate is curving upwards with the continued printing of useless dollars.

        • draupnir September 7, 2020 at 12:45 pm #

The funding for this is coming from Rothchild through George Soros and probably wont’ be drying up anytime soon, or at least not until the objective has been accomplished. When they have ruined us beyond redemption, only then will they leave us to twist in the wind. I have actually been hoping for a military intervention. Better that then a Maoist Cultural Revolution. The Joint Chiefs of Staff have disappointed the Democrats by stating they will not be dragging Trump out of the Oval Office by force in case of a contested election, but I’m not entirely certain I believe them.

        • shotho September 8, 2020 at 8:42 am #

Dr. Tom, I think you spelled it out very nicely. We talk endlessly about riots, scandals and media, when the only real problem facing us is the financial collapse. This collapse happened back in March and is only papered over with more paper. The collapse is still working and has only scratched the surface. It will become more and more apparent as we enter debt default, whichever idiot is elected in Nov. As the dollar becomes increasingly worthless is when we see massive civil unrest. And we ain’t seen nothing yet.

      • RB September 7, 2020 at 12:40 pm #

I have been surprised at the number of local governments mayored by blacks and also police chiefs. There is no question that many major cities are run by blacks who are making fantastic salaries. We are also seeing blacks, females especially, taking over district attorney positions which will never be relinquished. Living in suburbs will not shield people from the turmoil in the inner cities. So, we must assume that what we see now will only get worse. The “orcs” have found out they can go into the suburban areas and threaten an entire population. The banished law enforcement will not be a wall against such. Anyone defending their property and life will be prosecuted if you are white. The “orcs” will gain more power through simple intimidation. They see success. Republicans are feckless and emasculated. They have been for a long time actually. When they had the congress and white house they did nothing of substance. They are owned by lobbyists.

        Several observations and predictions:

        1. if the dems take over completely, a white person, especially males, will never get a federal govt job.

        2. the US military will be run by liberal generals and admirals

        3. meritocracy will totally disappear and whites need not apply at the best universities. Stanford dropped the MCAT as part of admissions.

        4. American research and development will shrink as Orcs run the various shows.

        5. What you see in Chicago and San Francisco in the way of public unions dominating the budgets you will see across the fruited, denuded plains. Taxes will skyrocket to pay for government pensions and salaries. Check out San Francisco government salaries: firemen paid high, high six figures.

        6. more debt will accumulate until the ponzi scheme finally collapses. there will be means testing for benefits. many white folks will see their SS diminished or completely cut off.

        7. immigration will be out of control exponentially. the dems will invite everyone to the trough.

        8. the fossil fuel industry will be crushed. forget heating and a/c in your future and expect 7 dollar a gallon gasoline.

        9. there will be national health insurance. if you are over 70, plan to die and get out of the way. no hip replacement for you.

          • UN OUT OF USA September 8, 2020 at 5:38 pm #

You guys are forgetting that “whitey” is still the majority of the US population, is well armed and will defend themselves if/when the government/LEO’s don’t. At that point, what does “whitey” have to lose? Whitey will NOT be going to re-education camps. Whitey at some point is going to rebel and say enough is enough and that’s when REAL SHTF.

Rioting works as a system of redistribution. And then – amazingly – the looted stores offer huge reparations on top of that. Why would they stop? Kamala Harris joyfully exclaimed that they wouldn’t.

Of course small businesses that get trashed might not recover. But who cares? They don’t typically have enough to offer reparations checks.

Live not by lies. We lied to them about how beautiful and smart they were – and that they had built America. So naturally why wouldn’t they want what they had built? See how smart they are?

Although you get a lot right, it is annoying that you continue, as far as I can tell just for your personal emotional satisfaction, to pretend that these riots and these destructive plans are run by blacks.

          • Sredni Vashtar September 8, 2020 at 11:51 am #

A liberal mentality, Sophia. The real Old Americans thought very little of them. Like the rest of the liberals (and conservatives are liberals), you only focus on Portland and ignore the massive destruction wrought by Blacks in every major city and many medium sized ones as well. And the Whites who are the most committed, in Portland, Seattle and elsewhere, do so on behalf of Blacks. Thus theirs is just a more extreme form of your own mentality.

We exist for ourselves, not to serve them. They are ages behind us in evolution as all Occultists (but you) know. Not of the Soul which is eternal and unchanging, but of the “bodies” which Occultists study, in contrast to devotional mystics and of course, exoteric religionists.

Several have died as a result of the issues of the day…little sympathy engendered. No sympathy forthcoming.

    A quiet satisfaction, maybe….

I saw a video today, where a guy was forcibly pulled from his car, forcibly handcuffed and forcibly thrown into a police car during a BLM protest where they had blocked the freeway with cars. It took three cops to subdue him and a couple others to keep his sisters-in-arms from intervening. One guy was absolutely incensed at the use of force. I imagine he had every opportunity to go with them quietly.

“So far this year, Mr. Trump has allowed the Democratic Party to disgrace itself in acquiescing to mobs and riots around the country.”

Has this party been held in much esteem previous to this?

A preemptive soft coup initiated by the superficially black totem.

The DNC’s success in ensuring Clinton Inc. at the top of the ticket.

Party loyalist bureaucrats firmly entrenched/positioned at the top posts throughout the leviathan, along with their symbiotic brethren at the MSM, push the “Russia” collusion narrative.

A post election coup movement in line with the never trump/resist Trump everywhere stratagem that includes many RINO factions that are perfectly happy with the hitherto status quo of American politics.

Now, as 4 years ago, in a cynical attempt to push blacks to the polls, BLM is at the forefront. Not enough, the Anti-fa useful idiot brigades are there to take it up a notch. Violence baiting.

Yet who is getting scared, and tired of it all: the boomers watching their idiot boxes 24/7. The same people responsible for this disaster, the same demographic at the heart of this disaster: Clinton, Pelosi, Schumer, Soros, Trump, et al.

The geezers, still reading newspapers, and watching TV news, swallow the programming. Normalcy will return after Trump. You’ll get your pills, your SSA checks, your mornings with Hoda and whomever not struggling to fill your day with positive stories before your day spent in the garden, and the CVS.

    • neurodoc September 7, 2020 at 11:09 am #

Many boomers are getting progressively more pissed off, and those who live in Red states are heavily armed and many actually know how to use weapons (not all boomers are decrepit tv watchers!). Some scared, many pissed and armed, is a recipe for strong reaction to the insurrections IF THEY PERSIST. The latter is the key. You seem to think things will ‘return to normal’ after Trump is re-elected. But what if………..

The Silent Majority is notorious for ignoring the Liberal takeover. They are too busy working and making money. They will no do much until someone tries to take their money away from them.

If Trump wins by a small margin, the Liberal revolution will continue. The SM will stand by and watch what happens. If Utopia happens, the SM will either fight back, war, or leave.

There is a surprise in store for them, no one else wants them and other places, all of them are more Liberal than the USA.

SM, you only sane game plan is to vote Trump to slow down the globalist idiocy.

        • neurodoc September 7, 2020 at 11:55 am #

The ‘silent majority’ will not do much until someone tries to take their money OR their guns. I live in a south midwest state; 50% of homes have weapons and they will not part with them without a major fight. Recent survey showed the average US state had about 40% gun ownership (that average is screwed by all the soy states that have less then 15%; BTW that’s where most of the crime occurs, just as predicted).

Guns? What are they going to solve? In your suburbs? Your patio home maintenance-free communities? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. You’re right where they want you.

When you venture out of your Netflix comfort zone to confront those taking your money, your rights, your privileges, they will take your guns. Easily. You are trapped, clinging to your useless $1800 Daniel Defense woobie blanket.

“they will take your guns. Easily”

you know about collecting guns. that culture? you know about capitulating to that false sense of comfort having a safe full of them brings you. But there are far more intelligent people at work out there that you can’t put holes in with your 14th century tech.

They will continue to take from you, to force you to conform, and not by marching down your street, or by coming to your door, or by presenting a target for your blunderbuss.

The dimwits clinging to the belief that guns, putting holes in paper on the weekend, will save them, are the imbeciles that will suffer most, that ironically, doom this country to more despotism. Because the intelligent people are easily outmaneuvering them.

The levers of power don’t have a 4Lb trigger pull.
            Keystrokes win. Every time.

“The dimwits clinging to the belief that guns, putting holes in paper on the weekend, will save them,”

Avatar, fair enough, but I never said anything about saving themselves. The weapons and relative ability to use them can and do provide a sense of comfort on a micro level. On a level you subscribe to, they are a speed bump.

            Resistance is troublesome.

            Armed resistance even more so

Weapons do not provide for independence, but rather a sense of independence. Our betters fear the 2nd Amendment, it is…troublesome.

            Another variable.

        • DrTomSchmidt September 7, 2020 at 12:01 pm #

Good point; inflation is so insidious that few even know it’s happening. If you’re old enough, think about what home prices were in, say 1977 (I bought a 4br nice split level for 40K). Same house last year (I sold it in 1979 for 43K) sold for $210K. But few people if think about that. Inflation if theft!!!!

What is likely to happen, is that the insurrectionist lunatics will continue attacking the legitimacy of trump, who will likely win by a landslide (due in part to the violence from dems and their brown shirts). Then, a Fort Sumter analogue event will occur with lots of prominent democrat communists meeting their maker; followed by the dems trying to call in the so called ‘un,’ and then game on. Red vs Blue, not based on locations but on ideology and alliances. (Isn’t it a hoot that the ‘un’ has blue piss poor helmets. Fitting. I think you are right. The interesting question is how? How to divide up the pie that is the US? Who in the power structure gets what?

One thing I believe is if a section of the country inherits the Gimme State that is currently rioting, within five years, after they suck their capital pool dry, they will be begging the other side of the US for capital outlays. I hope once the users are expelled, the Conservative side never lets them back in.

      • neurodoc September 7, 2020 at 12:04 pm #

The divide up WILL be a mess, just like in Yugoslavia; boundaries of ‘nations’ moved around for years until the present situation ‘appeared’ to become relatively stable boundary wise. People who were analogues to the reds were left in blue areas and vice versa, only they had more divides than red v blue (which we also have, just not discussed much). My fear is that after the gimme states blow their money and completely fail, they will attempt to invade or re-kindle more warfare. Gerald Celente once said that when the PTB fail they will then take you to war.

I suspect they’ll start broadcasting deep fakes, or falsified recordings and pictures of Trump and his allies, in order to “prove” the blades are true. If none of of this works, I fully expect the financial backers of the anti-Trump forces to crash the stock market, as it’s better to destroy the economy (and the Fed, which is underwriting Wall Street) than it is to let that philistine from Queens to further stymie their plans for galactic domination.

Put most of this on the White Liberals and their White professional conservative stooges who set themselves us as the elite deep state looters. I think they have correctly figured out the POCs of the D-party are going to elbow them out of the way. If the D-party attains the exec level in 2020 they can continue the looting for a few more years and pay off the POCs for a little while longer, especially the dependent black political looters who set themselves up as First POCs of Privilege.

As for the street thugs this is what they have to work with, mentally and emotionally broken white kids indoctrinated into their little cults by those grannies the Left has as minders. If you are a “liberal” you know who these people are and what they are like and what they incite.

    • JohnAZ September 7, 2020 at 12:03 pm #

I disagree with your idea that the Dems will pay off the POC after electoral success.

I think the Predominately White power structure of the Dems will consolidate their power hold on the Deep State then start globalize good the structure of the US. The POC will be left hung out to dry by a power structure that could care less about them.

Wise POC are trying to put this message out now. The real divide and conquer racists are White and Democrat.

      • SoftStarLight September 7, 2020 at 3:42 pm #

So in other words it is ok for pocs to work to further the advancement of their own people and “communities” but Whites are racist if they do the same. Oh well lol better to be racist than suicidally niave.

I think you missed his meaning. He’s not saying it is wrong, he is simply saying that they have no intention of truly moving over and sharing power, and that they are racists, which they are.

      • Kim September 7, 2020 at 7:07 pm #

“Predominantly White power structure” is a strange description.

        1. A massive section of politics, mass media and big business/ finance is Jewish and notably does not identify as “white”, but operates out of an explicit Jewish consciousness and is actively hostile in word and deed to the interests of non-jewish white America.

        2. Whites who are in positions of power worldwide do not identify as whites and even less with the Christian traditions of the West.

If they did identify and act as whites, and if Jewish groups were not influentially anti-white and anti-Western, it is hardly possible that traditionally white countries would have followed the culturally and racially suicidal policies which they have these last 70 years.

If it were true, it is hardly possible that we could read today that the cabin crew of AA and other airlines are to be wearing BLM lapel pins.

“Welcome aboard, whitey. Now instead of a safety demonstration, you will take a knee, give a power salute, and hand over your wallets, jewelery and electronics to the POC flight attendant as she comes along the aisle.”

There is no “predominantly white power structure” in the USA, despite whatever some Hindu columnist at the Washington Post tells you every day with breakfast.

It is an anti-white hobgoblin. It doesn’t exist.

        • Majella September 7, 2020 at 9:35 pm #

“There is no “predominantly white power structure” in the USA” – Kimmy

I guess it comes down to your definition of ‘predominantly”:

“Whites who are in positions of power worldwide do not identify as whites”

          We – white people – don’t HAVE to ‘identify’ – we’re white.

And that’s a bad thing right? No getting away from the albatross, thus our only identity can be that of a moral leper, about the equivalent of a cowering albino in equatorial Africa, tormented by both the sun and all the people around him.

White people don’t have to self-identify? You mean they can’t; it’s not permitted. Meanwhile, every other racial and ethnic group is encouraged to form associations and promote their identity.

That is the “systemic racism” in the USA. Even the term, POC, which we use in all contexts without hesitation, literally means everyone but white people.

When an Empire is in decline, nothing should surprise anyone including Joe Biden becoming POTUS including getting booted out before he gets into Office. The Democratic primaries were a joke. There were better choices than Joe Biden including the Hot Hawaiian Babe running for Office.

Joe Biden is not fit for Office and will be a laughing stock if he does beat Trump by hook or crook. When you are trying to appear you are not reading from a Teleprompter but end your speech with “End Quote”, that usually says you’ve lost your marbles. But again the US is such a fucked up nations the Democrats don’t care because they see this as normal.

*** Speaking of normal or the new normal, the CDC released their Covid 19 numbers to this scam plandemic. According to the CDC total Covid 19 deaths that were “FROM” Covid 19 was 6% out of a 154K cases or in laymen terms roughly 9,200 died from this BULLSHIT pandemic.

“Whoops, sorry; we had to destroy the country (-ies) to save it..”

      • JohnAZ September 7, 2020 at 12:30 pm #

        Cherry picking time.

6% of the cause of death info was Covid ALONE.

The rest had co-morbidities that allowed the virus to destroy critical functions to cause death.

In the general population with lots of co-morbidities, if Covid was allowed to run open loop, it would kill the big number of folks, not the 6%. Covid only is meaningless.

I try to picture what would have happened if mitigation was not put in during March. What if the fiascos in New York and New Jersey had been allowed to spread exponentially across the country, like it did later in the sunbelt when mitigation was partially lifted.

Your, then a miracle happens attitude, that will stop the epidemic so that there will be no impact by opening the economy is a pipe dream.

Removing mitigation restraints will surge everywhere. The obviously insufficient health care system will overload quickly, like it almost did in New York. More folks will have to quarantine at home, not get the remedial care, and die. Even bigger is the crippling effects of the virus as it causes permanent damage, just now being discovered trying to open the schools.

Comparing this virus to the flu, another cherry picking exercise, is meaningless. It is much more contagious than the flu, it causes more damage than the flu in the body. We have ignored the flu over the years armed with flu shots trying to keep it a bay. We still lose appreciable folks to the flu, because of co-morbidities. Flu has run open loop with a vaccine. This crud has been mitigated against, preventing the large scale surges that WILL happen, so we really do not have any idea what would happen if we would just stop mitigating

Me, it scares me. We have had less than 10% infected and MDs say that 85% must be infected to have herd immunity without a vaccine.

Unless an effective vaccine is discovered, or a way of killing the virus is forthcoming, this virus is going to change the way humans conduct business permanently.

        • neurodoc September 7, 2020 at 12:40 pm #

The people at the Pasteur Institute in Paris are saying that there are too many mutations to make an effective vax. Very scary, indeed.

Also, I must have been writing my note below while you put the above on line. Sorry, I’m wasn’t trying to shout over you.

Then again, great minds think alike. 🙂

        • DrTomSchmidt September 7, 2020 at 12:53 pm #

Use DuckDuckGo to search, not filtered Google. Here’s an unoptimistic article:

Mathematicians at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom and Stockholm University in Sweden realized that different groups of people within a population spread infections at different rates.

When they updated the classical model to take into account rates of transmission in different age groups and among people with varying levels of social activity, the threshold for herd immunity fell to 43%.

Other estimates are even lower. For example:
“We have now proven that, in some people, preexisting T-cell memory against common cold coronaviruses can cross-recognize SARS-CoV-2, down to the exact molecular structures,” study co-lead author Daniela Weiskopf, assistant professor at La Jolla Institute for Immunology in La Jolla, California, said in a statement. …

Previous studies have shown that upwards of 50% of people never exposed to COVID-19 have T cells that recognize SARS-CoV-2. This ability has been seen in people around the world, in the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom and Singapore. Scientists hypothesized that this existing immunity could be due to previous infections with other coronaviruses, specifically those that cause common cold infections.

So, 70% for herd immunity is absurdly high, and used to justify selling doses of vaccine to healthy people who do not need it. My suspicion: the infection rates were SO bad in and around NYC that the city has hit herd immunity between the people who are not susceptible (that 50%) and the over 20% of people in the city shown in random testing to have had the virus.

Hope this allays your fears a bit.

          • neurodoc September 7, 2020 at 1:39 pm #

43% herd immunity threshold is certainly good news. BUT, that doesn’t negate the high rates (40-50%) of permanent damage in post infection surviving patients. Chronic COPD and CHF in one’s 30’s and 40’s is still something to be concerned about until herd immunity is attained. I do agree that the BigVax groups make claims that sell their vax.

          • elysianfield September 7, 2020 at 7:48 pm #

            “So, 70% for herd immunity”

Herd Immunity is great! I can’t wait for it to kick in for the common cold…the seasonal flu…Aids and Herpes…Uterine Cancer…erectile dysfunction….

            Thank God for modern medicine.

Thank God for entire populations of diseased and walking petri dishes, roiling masses suffering for my benefit.

            Get it.

Tom: 40-50 percent of what? All people? All people who have had it? You forgot your numerator.

The people with long term symptoms are an exceedingly small group.

          • DrTomSchmidt September 8, 2020 at 7:42 pm #

Thanks, Janos. I was unaware of 40-50% of “post-infection surviving patients” having troubles. Like you, I thought it was lower.

Maybe only cases that were severe enough to require hospitalization? Thus my followup to Neurodoc.

The point with the 6% stat (which I also posted last week) is that it shows that COVID by itself is not dangerous to most of the population.

The 5% stat for the UK is just as comical, showing that approx 2,000 people died out of supposedly hundreds of thousands of positive tests. 2000. LOL.

          This is a massive hoax.

Indeed, Rod. On the CDC site, suicide due to a psychological condition was also included.

You could not make this shit up.

        • Kim September 7, 2020 at 7:43 pm #

          @john AZ

The significance of the point about co-morbidities is that 94% of the deaths attributed to covid would very possibly have not occurred in the short term if it were not for the pre-existing condition.

If I have a severe medical condition, say I am 84 years old and have an age-related cancer. I am weak and within a year of death.

I get covid or some other flu. It finishes me off. So I have died around July 4th instead of around Christmas.

The vast majority of covid deaths are of this type. Society is not losing bonny babies, energetic teens, young adults, the middle-aged or even the recently retired. Those who are dying are decrepit and on their last legs,

Societies have not responded this way to other such chronic and at least annualizable social problems. The opioid epidemic kills 60,000 of the young in the US, year in year out. If you want to consider the matter Iin terms of life years, in opioid deaths, the USA is losing, say, 60,000 × 50 years every single year.

To date, covid may have taken – at most, given all of the fraudulent counting – 150,000 × 1 or 2 years or even just six months.

So 12 trillion (how much the fed will print to cover this farce) divided by (generously) 300,000 man-life years = $40 million per death if each victim has died two years ahead of schedule. And note that the person in question was not saved to live another healthy 50 years. He or she simply lay gasping for breath in a nursing home.

I don’t see why all of this requires the USA to put 50 million people out of work, let millions have their homes go into foreclosure, use all of their savings, close all schools, churches, social events, suspend international travel, implement a swathe of civil liberties and draconian policing actions including totalitarian surveillance, declare a national quarantine of the healthy and spend what will eventually amount to, as I have said, around $12 trillion.

What, in the name of sanity, is the justification?

      • neurodoc September 7, 2020 at 12:35 pm #

Sorry but you have an incorrect analysis of what the report said and MEANT.

There is a lot of confusion about the CDC data among non medical people (and some MDs from the bottom 1/5 of their class ;)). I reviewed the report in detail. The 6% number represents Covid cases that did not have any accompanying problems which is highly unusual since COVID causes pneumonia in most patients, to some degree, and RDS in many. It also causes hypercoagulation states in some, resulting in myocardial and renal infarcts, strokes, etc). These are all effects of the COV virus. (underlying problems like COPD make things even worse).

The conspiracy people on the internet have spewed a lot of delusion and mis-interpretation about the CDC report thinking that the 6% of cases, that had no pneumonia, RSD, hypercoagulation (MIs), etc, are the ONLY Covid deaths. It represents deaths with ONLY Covid. See the difference?
Here’s what a typical main part of a COVID death certificate reads like:

Death due to: Respiratory distress syndrome
        Due to: pneumonia
        Due to Covid
(I just saw this one as I had a long time patient die of COVID complications last week).

The above is a typical Covid death. The COV causes pneumonia which then causes RDS. Most people have no idea how to read a death cert.
But the 6% number cases would look like this:

        Death Due to: COVID .
Period, nothing else and very rare.
Comprende? Most covid deaths are from pulmonary or cardiac
EFFECTS of the COV virus. The virus itself is just a virus; what it DOES is the important part medically.

Lesson: don’t get critical medical information off the internet unless you have medical training and then, only from a few select sites. There is lots of bullshit on the internet, esp about health care. And most non medical people simply can’t tell the difference from BS and real data. Further, the CDC always does a piss poor job of communicating to the non medical public, causing lots of problems.

My question is: why did the CDC pick this time to put out info that all medical people would expect to be confusing to the public?

        • JohnAZ September 7, 2020 at 12:56 pm #

Much more eloquently put than me.

Enough bullshit has been published about the Covid to sink a thousand Titanics.

          • neurodoc September 7, 2020 at 1:10 pm #

I hope it makes sense to others. I worry about the mis-interpretations suggesting COVID is a nothing burger. Death rate is on the low site (vis-a-vis, plague, ebola, etc), but the often permanent aftereffects in normal people post infection are very worrisome. Most people don’t get that having COPD or CHF in your 30’s or 40’s is a real nightmare.

FYI: I actually first heard about the CDC report from a questionably schooled business office person in one of our clinics. She was saying that the CDC report (which she had not read but had ‘heard’ about on the net) showed that the virus was bullshit and we shut down for nothing. So I went to the CDC site and read it……..

          • Sredni Vashtar September 7, 2020 at 1:37 pm #

So what would a pure Covid death look like? What would be the symptoms? What would finally kill them – just general organ failure, such as a heart attack?

Usually the lungs fail in other words. In six percent of the cases, something else fails?

        • Nightowl September 7, 2020 at 1:38 pm #

The CDC posted a list of PRE-EXISTING conditions for the other deaths.

Do you know what PRE-EXISTING means?

          • neurodoc September 7, 2020 at 1:45 pm #

We’re talking about CAUSES of death in COVID patients. Pre-existing is NOT a cause, it is an epiphenomenon. Look at what I showed as an example of death certs. Have you ever even seen a death cert before?

Obviously you’re not a medically trained person.
The CDC report posts LOTS of data that the average person does NOT know how to interpret.

Perhaps you could take an online statistics course?

          • neurodoc September 7, 2020 at 1:50 pm #

To Vashtar: the COVID only deaths had only COVID on the death cert. The CDC report was about data on death certs.
The example I showed above was a good example of a death cert from a local hospital. No all are that complete. Some just say; Death due to: respiratory distress. (Doctor was in a hurry). This makes thing complicated and difficult to interpret. Regarding a COVID only death, what that means to mean is that the Doc didn’t add sequential effects as causes. or the patient simply had cough, fever, loss of smell and DIED (from what, is not specified), as one usually doesn’t die from cough and fever or loss of smell.). Too bad this is such an emotional issue for people making them irrational.

          • neurodoc September 7, 2020 at 1:55 pm #

Are you asking ME what a pre-existing condition means? Surely not. I don’t think you have the education to even ask ME that question. I’ve been an MD academic and practicing PHysician since the late 80’s. What are YOU?

I’m having a lovely week’s staycation in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

Bit too much of the showers in the ‘sunshine and showers’, but lovely nevertheless and, judging by the number of other holidaymakers here, milling around in the normal way, but obligingly putting on a mask before patronising the local businesses, I’m far from being the only one not living in utter fear as both the Narc-troll and the Non-Apologiser would have you believe is the norm on these isles.

Where do these people get their information, one wonders?

Well, the Non-Apologiser-who-Demands-Apologies gets his ‘statistics’ on Scottish opinions from people who deliberately misinterpret a poll of …

            … wait for it …

            83 people!!

Eighty-three people who include a non-specified number of ‘don’t knows’.

And from that he concludes that:

“[…] a full 29% of the population would actually put the death rate at higher than 8-10%!!!!

Should I be blaming this idiocy on the American education system or on someone else’s?

Anyway, even that stupidity wasn’t enough to disturb my holiday enough to make me get my laptop out.

That took the Narc-troll’s display of his idiocy.

          • Nightowl September 7, 2020 at 4:41 pm #

We are talking about the CDC stats, which provide numbers for COVID deaths with and without pre-existing conditions. The deaths without pre-existing conditions are comically low, which is the entire point.

It seems rather clear to me. In fact, the CDC even provides a handy list of pre-existing conditions.

By all means, tell us what we are missing.

            ?  Severe/critical cases and deaths:
            ? 336 deaths total (cumulative)
? 326 (97%) had underlying medical condition(s) such as hypertension or diabetes

? 25 deaths during the last two weeks (23 August – 5 September)
              – 4 aged 90-99
              – 12 aged 80-89
              – 8 aged 70-79
              – 1 aged 60-69
              – 24 had underlying medical condition(s)

They’re saying only 3% of their COVID deaths had no underlying medical conditions.

NO it wasn’t. Other countries did a better job, with masks, social distancing. We are a stubborn people. Too many Scots. 🙂

Do you think it was artificially created or at least “played with” as Dr Mikovits believes?

I don’t think they’ll every let us take off the masks again. It’s part of the slave culture they’re creating. This is irrespective of whether it helps or not against Covid.

The latter would depend on the size and “behavior” of water droplets on which the virus rides. How big are such droplets? And what happens when they dry out, say on the exterior of the mask one is wearing? I assume the virus is then either sucked in or blown out.

          • JohnAZ September 7, 2020 at 7:15 pm #

The unemployment rate is 11% and falling, the economy is far from dead.

The presence of the virus however is going to change what the economy of the future is. If you want things to go back to the way they were, nope. We are in a new world.

I have always noticed people in the Orient wearing masks for a long time. Why do the viruses always start there? Their maintenance of a safe distance during greeting is an indication that close contact is not a great idea where disease is prevalent.

        • Rodster September 7, 2020 at 2:25 pm #

And I call your reasoning bullshit whether you are a real doctor or not. Those are the CDC numbers they published. If this Scamdemic was really as serious a threat as we are being told by the fraudster Anthony Fauci who by the way should have his medical license revoked. This same Anthony Fauci who’s doing his two bit fear mongering act scaring the public with Covid 19 was seeing not too long ago at a Washington Nationals baseball game sitting next to his wife and a close friend with his mask down.

Hey Anthony, what happened to your social distancing and everyone must wear a mask routine? This same Anthony Fauci is the same person who has been hanging out with Bill Gates who wants to implement “FORCED INJECTIONS”. And lets call them just that, they are FORCED INJECTIONS whether the so called vaccine is effective, safe or proven to work.

But hey Neurodoc just keep peddling the fear, hysteria and doom. Because NOW there are more and more individuals who will gladly take those “FORCED INJECTIONS”.

You are completely mis-understanding what I am saying. The death rate is low, as low as influenza, but the problem, based on about 25 well done studies in US, Europe and Hong Kong, showing serious sequelae for survivors, as noted previously. I have had four patients die of covid (I was not their Internal medicine doc, I do neuro-rehab) and none had so called pre-existing conditions other than pain and neurological peripheral deficits. But they all died of pneumonia due to COVID.

There is low mortality but high morbidity and that is a fact. READ the medical journals if you can.

And despite your being a non medically educated moron, I agree that COVID is being overplayed by bigpharma re deaths, to push vaccines.

          • neurodoc September 7, 2020 at 2:54 pm #

            Night owl

So does the flu, it takes co-morbidities caused by age for the flu to kill.

Why? Glad you asked. The flu attacks receptors that are primarily in the upper to mid respiratory. The ACE2 receptor the crud attacks is everywhere so this virus can destroy tissue in many organs.

If you haven’t read the bradykinin report I noted previously, new good news items are being figured out about why the crud tears folks up so much and potential weaknesses of the virus that may lead to cures and prophylaxis. I believe you were a proponent of vitamin D as a preventative measure at one time. Guess what, you were right. Read the article to find out why.

Google Covid 19 bradykinin to get the article.

You are also simply reinforcing my point:

COVID kills very few people, and most deaths are among senior citizens with pre-existing conditions/compromised immune systems.

The CDC report and stats out of Britain have put an end to the game.

I do not understand what you have written here. Not because it is hard to understand but because you write/explain very poorly.

Here is what close reading of your comment leaves me with, with the main points you make in order of emphasis:

          1. I am very clever and you are not

          2. I am a doctor

          3. I am very clever and you are not

          4. The 6% figure represents death certificates that were filled in only scantily, in that they could have more thoroughly listed the medical conditions that led to death but did not, and listed only covid alone, which is not very useful as covid alone is a virus, not a cause of death.

          Okay, so what?

If point 4 does in fact represent what you wished to say, I cannot see how your comment has added much to this discussion.

In fact, it tends to emphasize the fact that covid alone is less likely to kill anyone than it is to be one contributing factor among a number…uh, duh.

Again, so what? Apart from you for the 100th time telling us you are a doctor, what does your comment add to our understanding of the covid fraud?

          • Majella September 7, 2020 at 9:27 pm #

Lots of games being played to save egos sucked in by fear porn.

The deaths are attributed to COVID either with pre-existing conditions or without.

        • SW September 8, 2020 at 12:50 am #

Dr. John Lee who writes for the Spectator magazine is a pathologist who has questioned the way Covid deaths are counted from the beginning. I don’t read opinion pieces about the virus & check the credentials of the doctors writing the articles because I know interpreting statistics can be tricky. He’s a pathologist with years of experience & makes the argument that many doctors unknowingly have upped the numbers.

Two Oxford professors— Carl Heneghan & Tom Jefferson who head the Evidence Based Medicine Dept. — are not convinced face masks are effective & that the measures taken to reduce/control the virus have been excessive.

I’m not trying to be argumentative. This is a serious concern & it’s been politicized instead of both parties seeking common ground to make rational, responsible decisions.

I wonder about the three debates Biden has already agreed to do.

I think the first one is the 29th of September.

If Biden debates he will lose the election within five minutes because Trump will know exactly which “lose your cool” buttons to push.

No one in their right mind would chose a candidate who offers to take Trump outside and kick his ass while yelling, “You’re a dog-faced pony soldier Korn Pop!…..Stop! Stop! Stop WHAT??! What is that voice in my head telling me to stop??!”

In the meantime, go to commercial as Trump just stands there and sadly shakes his head.

The night the DNC and the Democrat Party dies.

The other option is for the Biden team to refuse to debate. They’ll come up with some doozie of an excuse that will never fly, not even in Maddow-land.

In either scenario the DNC and Biden/Harris lose.

      • SW September 7, 2020 at 4:12 pm #

They’ve already come up with an excuse —- “debating Trump is beneath Biden’s dignity”. We’ll see if they have the nerve to go through with it.

You’d be amazed at the number of people who actually do blame Trump for the riots. I’ve heard them say that “Trump is a divisive figure & a racist & must be stopped by any means!” When I’ve pointed out that these cities are all run by Democrats & have been Democratic strongholds for decades, I’ve been told that proves their point because Republicans suppress free speech. There you have it.

  18. Bill7 September 7, 2020 at 11:48 am #

The Corporate Democrats *already* won: they stopped Bernie Sanders and any hint of people-benefiting policy, which was their real job in 2020. Biden is the CorpDems’ version of Bob Dole ’96; a sacrificial lamb for a Party that works only for its big-money constituency.

Their only job left for this year is creating full-scale Civil War, rather than the limited one they’ve been stoking so far, again benefiting the
    Big Money.

Yes, and Bernie’s surrender to the corporatist oligarchs was true treachery. The Republicans are essentially bootlickers for the globalist elites too but at least that wing is somewhat in check at the moment. Years ago you had advocated for rebuilding the rail infrastructure in the USA. We didn’t do this, preferring to take $4trln to Iraq and blow it to smithereens.

Meanwhile, an interesting change was underway: many of those rail rights of way have been converted to bike paths, preserving the protected, non-road right of way. New York State will soon complete the Empire State Path, over 700 miles of bike path with a lot of it on former rail beds. Right now there is an almost-complete path on top of rail beds (so no steep grades) that goes from the bottom of VanCortland Park in the Bronx all the way up through Westchester,Putnam, and Dutchess counties, over the Hudson at Poughkeepsie, and continuing on an asphalt path to NewPaltz, a journey of about 100 miles.

Getting around by bike will certainly be possible in the long emergency, and one can imagine small electric powered bikes hauling limited cargo along these paths, if they can be recharged, because of the lack of steep grades. Ought we, perhaps, get behind this to save as much as can be saved, and relatively cheaply compared to road construction?

And, any reports from you on the path nearby Saratoga Springs, which unfortunately seems to be mostly on roads, not former rail beds or canal paths?

The Vietcong traveled on just such bike paths. You may have to blow them. Or at least block them with Trees. From NYC right up into the hinterlands? That’s a disaster.

      • elysianfield September 7, 2020 at 8:00 pm #

“You may have to blow them…”

Could we first try just asking them nicely?

      • DrTomSchmidt September 7, 2020 at 8:02 pm #

We already have that issue with people driving cars up to steal from neighborhoods near the major roadways. It would be interesting to see literal bike(r) gangs in a post-collapse world.

My assumption is that the long emergency is now unequivocally here. We will not have the money in NY state to build new things, and we won’t have the money to repair most older things. It struck me that for little money NY state had built the longest bike path in the country, a surprisingly effective use of taxpayer’smoney. And preserved irreplaceable rail rights of way at the same time.

That’s interesting. Also how the erruption of violence in the streets favors Trump, democrats possibly losing the house. On the dark side that would give Trump impetus to send in more DHS troops to exacerbate the violence. The dems are pure unadultered shit and the republicans remain the party of pure evil. While I don’t believe that republicans are pure evil, your note is a into my personal view that there is one party in the US: The Big Corporate/Big Government interface party; it has two factions, the dems and repubs. The dems appear to have become psychotic, and the repubs appear to be like scared deer in headlights in the face of that psychosis. Both parties support BigGov which supports BigBiz, and vice versa, with a revolving door between the two: just look at the Treasury Dept and the BigBanks. The Left seems to have turned traditional morality on its head in making the criminal morality superior (as long as he’s black) and his criminality as morally justifiable as reparations for Slavery. According to their moral paradigm, the sole litmus test of Good or Bad in history is whether the person in question owned Slaves, which is bizarre. Slavery was a system of labor peculiar to a largely pre-industrial society without fossil fuels and without machines to do the work. If you owned a big piece of land in early 19th century Louisiana, you basically didn’t have any option but to travel down to New Orleans to buy some workers to work the land. It’s just the way that it was. Slavery existed in Africa for over 1,000 years before the Portuguese first started to import slaves bought in Africa from African-Arab slave traders to Brazil. Barak Obama’s ancestors were Kenyan Muslim slave traders, hence his name Barak Hussein Obama. Yes, many of the Founding Fathers owned slaves, but they were also very intelligent, philosophical, brilliant, hardworking, courageous, moral, upright Christian men. They were stellar individuals. In contrast, most people today who don’t own slaves are obese, ignorant, slothful, dishonest, weak-minded, cowardly, hedonistic, degenerate people.

    • Pucker September 7, 2020 at 12:26 pm #

      But what can you do?

      • SoftStarLight September 7, 2020 at 3:20 pm #

Keep highlighting how much slavery is an African phenomenon. All the way from the days of Pharaoh’s slaves to today. That’s why black revisionists want to establish 1619 . Because slavery determines everything to them and is far more important than the realities of abolition and emancipation.

        • abbybwood September 7, 2020 at 3:38 pm #

The biggest group of slave traders historically were Arabs.

          • SoftStarLight September 7, 2020 at 4:16 pm #

  23. getsome September 7, 2020 at 12:35 pm #

Biden’s continued exhibition of cognitive decline will, I feel, cause non TDS dems to really question their ability to vote for a creatin being pushed by their party. The majority of Americans want law/order, the ability to improve their lot in life and feel safe. This does not template well over dem controlled areas, hence Trump landslide. To Trump supporters, this may NOT work out well for the country as Trump’s personal flaws seem to track too close to cohen’s depiction. The lesser of two evils is STILL evil. Keep training, assess your perimeter to include the neighbors area and have a very flexible plan (Semper Gumby).

Jim, you described what would happen if Trump wins, and the election contested with the resultant chaos. I do agree with that. But you didn’t describe what happens if Biden clearly wins on election night. What will the Republicans do? Will they claim the election was rigged, and not concede? Would the same chaos occur as described by you above? I’d be interested in reading your thoughts about this possibility.

    • GoLightRail September 7, 2020 at 1:03 pm #

Yeah, I’m interested too. This article, and JHK’s article from last week, are full of Republican/Democrat “pot meet kettle” accusations and theories.

    • SoftStarLight September 7, 2020 at 3:13 pm #

Well since Democrats have made it clear that Biden will not concede no matter what the outcome of the election is I can’t see why the Republicans should concede anything either. The outcome of all of the races should be contested in totality.

      • Majella September 7, 2020 at 8:05 pm #

Twisting of words for your own purposes.

The position taken is that Biden should not concede UNTIL ALL VOTES HAVE BEEN TALLIED.

          • Majella September 7, 2020 at 10:29 pm #

My remark goes entirely to the oft’ demonstrated ability of SLL and others to take a few words from a statement and leave out the actual qualifiers, by which they utterly change the meaning.

The “no concession” strategy is exactly the same as Trump has espoused, but with the added zinger of basically saying he intends NOT TO ACCEPT a loss at the polls, even AFTER they’ve all bee counted.

Which is worse? You CTNJs just cannot see past the end of your stuck-up noses/

          • SoftStarLight September 8, 2020 at 2:02 am #

I’m not twisting words at all. HRC recently stated that Biden should not concede the election under any circumstance. Are you suggesting Biden has spoken to the matter? As far as I am aware he has not so then it must be assumed that’s the Dem strategy.

          • Majella September 8, 2020 at 2:42 am #

I’m know HRC said it, but if you QUOTE her, you’ll find she QUALIFIED it with ‘until the last vote is counted” or some such wording.

I agree, I’m not aware that Biden has ever said anything like that.

            My point, made above, stands.

I see nothing in JHKs writing that suggests right wing (you have no idea what right wing really is) and certainly not conspiracy theory; everything I’ve heard him say or write (other than his fiction) over the past decade is based in fact, not conspiracy). But now he carries his criticism of the Democrats to a new degree – OK, fair game – but at the same time he makes Trump out to be some kind of hero of the people. The thing is, Trump and the GOP are, so much more than the Democrats, supporters, cheerleaders and apologists for so many of the things JHK has criticized in years past: the grift and bad behavior of the financial industry, the cheap oil fiesta, the shale oil boondoggle, suburban sprawl and the “freedom” it gives people, etc. If JHK wants to knock down the Democrats/the left, fine (as Democrats have their own boondoggles and fantasies), but don’t give me this B.S. about how Trump and the GOP are the good guys.

It has only been a few years since many of the comments on this site and other pro-Trump sites were warning us of the imminent takeover of American cities by Muslim terrorists. According to you all during the final years of the Obama presidency we were only weeks away from Sharia law being declared in Detroit, Chicago and Pleasantville. Islamic law was about to supersede English Common law all through the formerly great USA. Obama was a stealth Muslim who had secretly agreed to sign over the country to the Imams.

I can also remember that Jack Kennedy was secretly running the country for the Vatican.

Substitute Antifa for Muslim and many of the comments are identical. Hysterical venting rather than coherent argument. Fear and loathing rather than rational discourse.

Indeed, the country is in bad shape. However, I am old enough to remember 1968. It was worse then. Scores were killed in riots all over the country. Entire neighborhoods burned. MLK, Bobby, the DNC and, perhaps most important, the Tet offensive all took their toll.

Millions, MILLIONS, marched and demonstrated against the war. Only a very small percentage of those folks were members of SDS or similar groups. An even tinier subset were members of The Weathermen or affiliates who took actions such as bombing labs, burning draft offices or, like the Berrigans poured their own blood on the draft files. The right wing was convinced then that the commies would be raising the hammer and sickle over the Washington mall any day.

Antifa is tiny. They need to keep shipping their people around the country because they do not have enough local troops in any of the demonstrations to carry off the violence. Many of these folks spend their day in Mom’s suburban basement and then hit the streets in the city after dark.

I’m amazed at the right wing going wobbly at the thought of these folks taking over your cities. They are a very small faction of the weird. They have managed to temporarily control minuscule blocks of real estate. You have them vastly outnumbered. You have them outgunned by millions of firearms and billions of rounds of ammo. Yet you are terrified of them. Grow a pair.

At least JHK is not still promoting H. Clinton as the last minute Biden stealth substitute. Please.

And still no mention of the Trump graft, ineptitude, greed or narcissism. Jim, why not just put the Q banner at the top of your page?

The attack on voting by mail is just dumb. In this state we have been voting by exclusively by mail for several election cycles. The level of fraudulent voting is LOWER than in-person voting. Sometimes, in a close race, it takes a few days to call the results. So? You are justifying armed insurrection because the results of an election take a few days? 1968 worse than now. I was in high school then in a major city. The 68 riots were nothing compared to what’s happening now. We didn’t burn buildings and attack police, with the exception of the chicago convention, and chicago has always been a shit hole city since the 30’s.

You need to get back on your anti-psychotic meds before making another post like the above. You make yourself look more like a moron than a psychotic, and I assume you don’t want to look like a moron.

I have to agree with you. I lived in a major city in a mostly Black neighborhood when the ‘60’s riots occurred, and I can state they were not as bad as the present day ones. In fact, my apartment was the only one in our building that had white occupants (myself and my roommate).

And what of the Postal Service? I know they have their problems but does anyone on either side think hiring Stuttering Lou was a smart move? Or destroying millions of dollars of processing machines this close to election? We don”t hear much from HJK on that front. I agree Biden is not a good candidate or a healthy one. Is the Trump pick still the better of the two Bozos? Wouldn’t it be something if they both suffered a stroke during the debate. School districts, SS, USPS, restaurants all set to implode and stocks are up! As for voting I loved the early votiing at most polling places this past June and I suggest that would be your best bet this Nov.

      • abbybwood September 7, 2020 at 3:58 pm #

Best to watch all the debates THEN vote.

Plus wait until a few days before the election for any juicy October Surprises.

Fill out your ballot THEN drop it directly off at a local Registrar of Voters place on Election Day, no need to “mail” a ballot that could be “lost”.

      • BackRowHeckler September 7, 2020 at 4:07 pm #

Well, the Postal Service set to implode because 1st class mail volume about 50% of what it was in 2006. Those mail sorting machines you refer to are not needed. Consequently the USPS is losing about $10 billion per year on average.

        • earltwitty September 7, 2020 at 7:42 pm #

lost much volume but also lost a lot of volume due to the Pandemic. Why destroy their most efficient machines this close to election? Of course the machines are needed. They sort 30,000 letters a minute. Bush’s Postal Accountability Act ruined them.

The rioting and looting has been massive on the part of Blacks. Every major city. Obviously the media and people like you are focusing on Whites hoping we forget about the Blacks. Antifa are few, yes, but Blacks who like to riot and pillage are many. No official BLM membership needed.

From another angle, “Kill one, terrify a thousand” – Sun Tzu. A tiny group of well organized and funded people organized larger groups and succeeded in overthrowing the old Russian Empire. How small is a virus? Yet it can grow and bring down a body millions of times its size.

So, a. It has been much larger than you admit. And b. size doesn’t matter as much as you aver. Thus you are refuted.

Where does Antifa gets its credo? Who inspires the young Black and White males to rebel like they are?

What percentage of the Black element of BLM Black Muslims? How many resources and inspiration come from CAIR? How come nobody is wondering about this connection?

For a little comic relief check out events in Portland last night, 101st straight night of riots.

A distinguished street agitator sets himself on fire with a Molotov Cocktail, running around in flames, doing what is being called ‘The Portland Shuffle’.

Molotov Cocktails apparently are tricky devices, like a cheap Saturday Night Special pistol can do as much damage to the user as the intended victim (in this case the cops)

Needless to say it was a Hot Time in the Old Town (tonite) ahahahahaha!!!

      @ BRH

As architects, you would think that this woman’s parents had already done enough damage to NYC.

Wealthy NYC woman busted in BLM rampage

      That’s rich.

One of the Black Lives Matter protesters facing felony rioting and misdemeanor graffiti charges — after a window-smashing free-for-all in Manhattan — is a wealthy Upper East Sider whose mother is an architect and whose father is a child psychiatrist.

Clara Kraebber, 20, is one of eight people arrested Friday night after a roiling, three-hour rampage that police say caused at least $100,000 in damage from Foley Square up to 24th Street.

“Every city, every town, burn the precinct to the ground!” the group chanted as it moved up Lafayette Street while busting the plate glass facades of banks, Starbucks and Duane-Reades.

The protest was organized by groups calling themselves the “New Afrikan Black Panther Party” and the “Revolutionary Abolitionist Movement.”

Given her privileged upbringing, Kraebber might seem an unlikely alleged revolutionary in those ranks.

Kraebber’s mother, Virginia Kindred, runs Kindred Arch.Works, a Manhattan architect firm that has designed spaces for Columbia University and NYU, and worked on numerous school and business spaces throughout the city.

But oh, what a price they paid for their mistakes and for allowing themselves to get caught up in those events. Patricia Krenwinkle will never get out of jail. If people like Kraebber are fortunate they will be killed before they are publicly executed for sedition or otherwise laid to waste in a ditch by the looming right wing backlash.

Could there be a Deeper Agenda? I mean Why Now? The Democrats were on course towards complete victory and dominance in the United States as were their fellow Liberal or Labor parties in the rest of the West. Four more years of Trump? What could he have done? Indeed, what would this basic liberal (small l) Civic Nationalist even want to do? As he said, “I want these people here because the economy is so good”.

A general amnesty of all illegals or another decade of mass immigration – either one would have put them over the top. But they would do both. After Trump, the deluge as many have said. So why risk it all by provoking the dying White Bear of Old America?

And of course why the Covid Hoax? Could they want the economy destroyed – with the independent middle class never to recover? And any general recovery to be based upon quite different lines than before? A new culture of high tech peasants, with Blacks on top? Why? Because the resource shortage ultimately demands it – and the depopulation agenda that will be put into place – one they could only enforce if everyone was dependent on them for work or just to live via Universal Basic Income.

I definitely think they want the destruction of the middle class. That is standard marxism. Perhaps covid wasn’t their hoax though. Double standards and a tiered justice system have been a thing for a long time now. the covid hoax is exacerbating these realities making them visible to people who would probably be braindead to such matters in a more normal time. Have you heard about the hairstylists hanging hairdryers from trees around Nancy Pelosi’s mansion lol?

The goal is always the same: Centralize power

The strategy is always the same: Make things worse then promise to make them better (via centralized power)

The vehicle is always the same: “The public good”.

The tactics are always the same: Multiple, overlapping attacks on a wide front + Alinskyism + extortion and blackmail + fear.

The organization is always the same: Start up multiple front organizations with tiny, overlapping staffs but lots of letterheads all claiming to represent millions of people. Get activists as members of already existing groups and take them over.

  29. xxzzy999 September 7, 2020 at 2:40 pm #

The Democrat Party has become the (Socialist Identity Party) and promise Progressive fantasies, which they use as tactics (“The Carrot”), i.e. Bernie’s unsustainable Socialist programs to further their evolving Marxist/Maoist ideology (“The Stick”). They then use Maoist methods (Cancel Culture) to erase America’s Customs, Culture, History, and Established Ideas in their strategy to destroy America’s current form of government based on the Founding Father’s Constitutional blueprint. Their ultimate goal is to install a Totalitarian atheistic government that starts out as a form of corrupt and unworkable Socialism.

America endured 8 years of Obama’s criminal political assault and his failed coup called (RussiaGate) to overthrow President Trump. RussiaGate was a conspiracy to overthrow a sitting president carried out by a coordinated effort of high-ranking government employees across many agencies, who knew exactly what they were doing. Americans are starting to understand how the Obama administration weaponized the DOJ, FBI, CIA and IRS to go after his political opponents, and in doing so, he trampled the Constitution and fueled the violent overthrow of cultural norms. America, in her glorious history, has never experienced anything in politics as corrupt as Obama’s RussiaGate. Nixon’s WaterGate political crimes look like an overdue library book by comparison.

Read “The Permanent Coup”, by: Lee Smith to fully understand the scope and depth of Obama’s RussiaGate crimes. Try the “Audible” version.

    Hi Mr. Kunstler,
Thank you for your polemic. I agree with most everyone here–you write beautifully.

    To what end?

You are totally aware of the lopsided nature of your report. You ignore the things you hate in society, when it comes to elements you support. You start by describing what happened to Mr. Prude, in some detail, to set a context. And then, at the moment I would expect some courage from you, you end with ” … the cops put a hood on Mr. Prude to avoid his projected body fluids and physically subdued him. In the process, he went unconscious and eight days later was pronounced dead.”

I agree, “projected body fluids matter,” and police have the right and obligation to protect themselves in the line of duty. But it is not open-ended. The hood was placed to stop the spit, which it did, so what of police subsequent behaviour? You do not say anything. I guess you defer the authority for this type of action to the police in all cases. They know what they are doing. Or so you, and many others here, assume.

As a thought experiment, just substitute the names George Floyd or Breonna Taylor, or any number of BLACK and WHITE people killed in botched no-knock warrant raids. Your statement generalized to the outcome in each case: “In the process they went unconscious and later were pronounced dead.” An awful lot happened in the span of those words, Mr. Kunstler. I wonder, if you have looked at the video of the incident? Do you think everything you saw was OK? Given the bland description you offered, I suspect not. People with moral convictions understand that something WRONG happened. Rather than being forced to do something repugnant, we do something to protect ourselves–we elide the unpleasantness that challenges our view that we are a good person. We can either say “In the process, he went unconscious and eight days later was pronounced dead.” Or we can recognise that there is a legitimate basis for the anger people feel (and still argue it is being expressed in at times inappropriate ways) and perhaps feel some shame as being part of a system that thinks that this kind of enforcement practice is acceptable. That is an uncomfortable thing to do. It is way more comfortable to say: “In the process, he went unconscious and eight days later was pronounced dead.”

Abcdef — The heroic “victims” you cite were all engaging in behaviors that led to their deaths: breanna Taylor, consorting with a drug dealer who was brandishing a gun at police; George Floyd, self dosed with fentanyl; Daniel Prude, ditto on angel dust. And so on with all these pathetic martyrs. You need to face something, these endless “Hi” salutations (especially multiple times to the same person on one day) come across as disingenuous.

The people you are speaking to (via the written word) are anonymous and you should treat them as such, not as old high school chums you haven’t seen for years but happened to run into while walking down the street.

It’s old, man. Give it up.

        • abcdef September 8, 2020 at 11:26 am #

          Hi Mr. Kunstler,
Thank you for your reply. I am not suggesting that all these folks made good decisions. You go too far when you say these behaviours “led to their deaths.” You can say that about a drunk driver who wraps his car against a tree–the causal agency is clear. In this case, causality is more muddled; there is intervening and interacting agency the importance of which you dismiss out of hand.

The question is whether the intervening police behaviour was reasonable and rational. Your use of the word “hustled” is interesting–to be conned, I think is your intent; but it also means ‘to move hurriedly or unceremoniously in a specified direction.” You repeat the claim that Breanna Taylor was consorting with a gun toting drug dealer. Check out https://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/crime/2020/06/16/breonna-taylor-fact-check-7-rumors-wrong/5326938002/.This is more nuanced than a lot of the breathless reporting and Internet commentary that initially came out supporting or condemning police. It is worth an unhurried read. It was updated 2 September 2020.

What is the basis for the claim you made about the drug dealing and could you please share it with me? Or are we talking possible unfortunate correlation here? If you don’t have evidence for it, would you consider withdrawing the claim until you do have evidence to support your claim? As many studies have shown, no knock warrants can lead to deadly misunderstandings in which innocent people are traumatised, maimed or killed. One does not have to consider people to be “pathetic martyrs” in order to also accept that the police make mistakes and can make bad decisions when angry.

I have been trying to post, but it seems spotty, so this might not get through. I apologize, as I feel obligated to respond to the comments that others make to me. Be well.

    • JohnAZ September 7, 2020 at 3:15 pm #

Your whole premise is so full of holes.

Three instances out of thousands where drugs are involved. Drugs that might explain the real cause of death. You do not know squat about what happened other than what you have been told by the MSM which is notoriously BS. Why can’t you wait like the rest of us for the findings before throwing out all your accusations?

BTW, where are all the statistics about Black cops having to kill White perps? Or Black Cops killing Black folks. Or Hispanic cops killing white or black folks.

Why? Because it does not fit the Liberal MSM model.

The BLM premise is totally out to lunch. If they were really trying to solve the problems of the Blacks in the US, they would be in the ghettoes of the Blue cities inspiring growth and development of these zones.

Instead, they burn them down. ABC, you definitely need to re-evaluate your heroes.

      • abcdef September 7, 2020 at 4:38 pm #

        Hi JohnAZ,
“Why can’t you wait like the rest of us for the findings before throwing out all your accusations?” Um, you do know that in defending the police, Mr. Kunstler (and those who follow his views in this) are doing the very thing you think I shouldn’t be doing? He has made the judgement? Or look at George Floyd? This is more than a judgement based on evidence, JohnAZ. It is also a judgement based on ones’ values.

I would be interested to know what you think was amiss in what I said. I said that “People with moral convictions understand that something WRONG happened here.” It is quite possible that your moral convictions are different to mine. You may see nothing wrong here. I do. I think there was something terribly wrong with what happened to George Floyd, for example. That view is a minority view here, as far as I can tell. I do not share the moral viewpoint those folks do. So, what do you believe?

As for your statistical claims: I ask you to read: https://news.northeastern.edu/2020/07/16/the-research-is-clear-white-people-are-not-more-likely-than-black-people-to-be-killed-by-police/. Why, because when the President says that more white people are shot by police than black folks…

“Northeastern professor Matt Miller says that Trump’s response was a “grotesque” misdirection that fails to account for the fact that Black people are killed by police at a higher rate than white people. A recent study by Miller found that Black people are shot and killed by police at twice the rate that white people are.

“He is using the truth to tell a lie,” Miller says of Trump. “Or at the very least to mislead, which in either case shows an indifference to the critical question: Why are Black people still dying at the hands of law enforcement?”

Overall, close to 1,000 people are shot to death by police officers in the U.S. every year, according to a database maintained by The Washington Post. It is true that a majority of those victims are white people.

“That’s only because there are so many more white people than there are Black people in our country,” says Miller, a professor of health sciences and epidemiology who has been researching injury and violence prevention for two decades.”

As for Minority cop shootings of white people, could you share your evidence on that please? I would be very interested to examine what you have found out.

        • JohnAZ September 7, 2020 at 8:09 pm #

Why are Black people still dying at the hands of law enforcement?

My opinion, because they ask for it!

Attitude among young Black men is a challenge to police. Police gird themselves for protection when they deal with Black areas. The Black threat is why militarization of the police forces has happened in the first Place.

It is interesting that almost all of the White cop on Black cases are investigated and the cop is exonerated, even in Blue cities.

If the Blacks would just show a little respect towards the cops, this would not happen near as much

          What gets in the way?

          Attitude plus drugs.

My opinion, use this idiocy as a great experiment. Remove the cops from Black urban areas and see what happens.

Wow – you sound like an ad for the KKK. By the way, I live in an urban area with a large black population where there’s not a lot of cops, and what’s happened is that it’s a very safe and desirable neighborhood.

          @ abcdef

I’d like to address the argument put in your link.

Overall, close to 1,000 people are shot to death by police officers in the U.S. every year, according to a database maintained by The Washington Post. It is true that a majority of those victims are white people.

“That’s only because there are so many more white people than there are Black people in our country,” says Miller, a professor of health sciences and epidemiology who has been researching injury and violence prevention for two decades.

This is partially true. The true part is that part of the reason why whites are more often killed by police is that whites are larger propotion of the US population.

But in saying “That’s only because”, Miller is also attempting to tell a lie. While proportionally more blacks are killed than whites, it is NOT “only because” there are so many more whites than blacks. It is in fact because blacks commit so much more crime than white people, crime of all types, violent, less violent, and even white collar crime.

          To put it simply:

Blacks = much, much, much, more crime, especially violent crime = more contacts with police = more inclined to resist police = proportionally more blacks deaths than whites.

But I am absolutely certain that both you and the equally deceitful Prof. Miller already knew this.

        • cbeard September 8, 2020 at 5:37 pm #

Black people commit crime at twice the rate of Whites. Therefore it should be expected that they have twice the rate of being shot or incarcerated. Actually, I believe it is much higher than double the rate of White people.

Hey Kakadu Man, Breona Taylor was a drug dealer in bed with a drug dealer (literally) Yes there was a no knock warrant because the dude she was with had not answered previously issued warrants. Police were returning fire when Breona Taylor was killed, not a surprise since police win most gunfights, thankfully.

Sack your own museum and purge conservatives as a preemptive strike against yourself? Then maybe you won’t get sacked and you won’t be one of the ones purged? Perhaps. But it’s probably deeper. Things are so far gone now that the Curators are true believers in most cases, probably eager to get rid of all reminders of the past. Wait – isn’t that what a museum is supposed to be? Not any more! The past is malleable and he who controls it controls the present and the future.

We’re already several generations into this after all. The first generations probably thought they were being fair by changing things and letting in Liberals and Minorities. But the latter groups had other ideas and once they attained seniority, they commenced the radical changes they had always dreamed of – the dismantling of the White Man and His World.

But what about the all important water droplets – the carriers or steeds of Covid? Who talks about them? As they float, so floats Covid. As they fall, so falls Covid. As they evaporate, so floats or falls Covid.

But who cares enough to know about them? Or knows enough to care? Not one except this one.

        • JohnAZ September 7, 2020 at 7:31 pm #

Excepting the last data says it is spread airborne, which means its carriers can stay suspended for long periods. It does not just drop on the ground like droplets. That is why ventilation systems are now being looked at, avoiding virus concentration by insufficient air flow seems to be a key.

          • Sredni Vashtar September 7, 2020 at 9:33 pm #

No, the droplets are the steeds on which it rides. By itself, it just drops. That’s why we need to study the droplets more. I think you got it backwards. But it is too humble a subject for big brain nibbas to take seriously. Only I realize the importance of such humble things.

But the data supports our point: COVID has a low death rate, and a comically low death rate for those with no pre-existing conditions, according to the CDC.

The millions that were supposed to be dead are not dead.

Feel free to set us right.

      • JohnAZ September 7, 2020 at 7:45 pm #

Find out how many folks have lost weeks of their lives, find out how many are maimed by the effects of the virus on parts of their anatomies. Flu does not destroy bodies like the crud does.

The death rate for Covid is death caused by the virus whether with co-morbidity or not. Cherry picked data is meaningless.

Remember the stats for obesity in the country being as bad as it is. Well, all those folks are candidates for the bad aspects of the crud.

        • Nightowl September 8, 2020 at 3:14 am #

John, please clarify what you mean by cherrypicked.

The numbers are clear as day. Deaths with or without pre-existing conditions. Both shockingly low. And hundreds of thousands of asymptomatic people who are either entirely or almost entirely unaffected by the virus.

The CDC data is nearly the same as in the UK — at 5% out of some 41k total deaths, deaths marked COVID alone come out to roughly 2,000.

          Those are the numbers.

It is ok to be wrong.

          • Nightowl September 10, 2020 at 5:36 pm #

            No clarification.

As the fossil fuels age fades out, the civilisation will fight tooth and nail against its citizens to keep the social contract extended indefinitely, ignoring the fact that what has enforced the social contract is abundant fossil fuels – in the first place.

The civilisation should be brave, ethical and responsible enough to consider dissolving itself and its fossil fuels-written social contract, peacefully and with dignity – instead.

One of the murdered Kent State students was Wiliam Schroeder, who was on a full-ride ROTC scholarship (his HQ torched by non-student agent provocateurs), a 4.0 student and an Eagle Scout. He was shot through the chest and killed 350 yards away from the rioting by some skittish, scared teenage National Guardsman while on his way to class. He was not a martyr but was instead murdered by the incompetence of Governor Rhodes and the school president who failed to close the campus after the rioting got out of hand. When bullets start flying, innocent people often get caught in the crossfire.

William Schroeder attended the Colorado School of Mines, the year before I did, but transferred to Kent State for his sophomore year.. Many of my fellow, older Miners knew him and held him in high regard. Many of America’s best and brightest didn’t survive the Viet Nam Era.whether at home or abroad.

A lot of talk about the Democrats, but the GOP has been dead since ‘16.

Now, we know opportunistic weasels and RINOS like Romney are waiting in the wings to offer some DNC light rendition of Republicanism: it’s like progressivism but with more war and cronyism.. this time for those afflicted with LDS instead of evangelicals. They’ll be sure to put their feigned interest in christ back into the policies that screw you over.

Clearly. And right under your nose with all the ostensibly “Republicans”, you know? those people pretending to be in another party to maintain some semblance of choice, now publicly stating that they are backing Biden.

How much proof do American voters need that the system is rigged, a Kabuki theater, a two-headed organism that does not pander for your vote for any other reason to maintain the system, a system set-up to ensure you vote, for if it wants to be legitimate it must consume your votes.

What would happen if nobody voted?
If everyone had an epiphany and suddenly realized they are being scammed? That preserving the 2 party control over the government is the real end game?

Well, we’d see it for what it is: bureaucratic despotism.

Here’s something Trump recently said, and I believe that this is what is really behind the “Trump disrespected fallen veterans” story:

President Trump said Monday that he has the support of U.S. troops, if not necessarily their bosses in the Pentagon.

“I’m not saying the military is in love with me, the soldiers are,” Trump said at a Labor Day press conference.

“The top people in the Pentagon probably aren’t,” the commander in chief continued, “because they want to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies — that make the bombs, and make the planes, and make everything else — stay happy. But we’re getting out of the endless wars.”

You think the Military Industrial Intelligence Complex likes that kind of talk from the Commander In Chief?

      Heh. Nope.

      • JohnAZ September 7, 2020 at 7:56 pm #

Would he have been a liberal hero during Vietnam?

        • cc rider September 7, 2020 at 8:32 pm #

If he had been President during Vietnam I think he would’ve ended it, or wouldn’t have gotten involved so heavily in the first place. What is ironic, I suppose, is that the “peace loving libs” today won’t recognize the fact that he truly detests war. I have no doubt that he’d advocate war if he thought it was truly a matter of self defense against an aggressor. But ultimately he hates war. The Democrat Party of today is the aggressive war party. If Hillary Cunton had won we’d probably be having a war with Russia now. Or pretty damn close to having one.

And Majella and Green Alba probably concur and say, “Hell yeah! Kill Evil Putin and them damn Russies”.

I posted on this recently. The Podesta strategy is to get the military brass to force Trump from office when they pull the mail-in voting scam and drag out the election results. When Trump protests, they will claim “dictator.”

That is what the letter was about from Gen. Milley a week ago. The one where he said the military would not get involved, despite the Dems/Uniparty canvassing mil. brass on the subject in advance.

They are simply priming the pump (or rather the tiny brains of their low-IQ followers).

  40. Roundball Shaman September 7, 2020 at 5:52 pm #

“The abiding mystery of the 2020 election is how come the Democratic Party, wishing so zealously to win back power, took pains to nominate a candidate weaker than the ghost of Millard Fillmore.”

Democrats do not want to “win back” power. They want it handed to them on a silver platter of ginned-up moral outrage at the current Oval Office Sitter and by positioning themselves well within the latest focus-grouped-socially-Woked-Up story lines posited to appeal to shallow-thinking Americans. Winning back something requires true appeals to the better natures of real people. Dems lost that kind of authenticity right after 1963.

“Everybody knows exactly what to expect now: a November 3 Trump election victory followed by a king-tide of post-election write-in votes for Ol’ Joe… and surely inconclusive battle…”

What fun is it to watch a story when we already know the ending? Lots of Hollywood writers have had nothing to do for most of the year. Can’t they employ a few of these to write a more interesting script?

“A centerpiece of the operation is the planned 50-day protest beginning mid-month in Lafayette Square…”

There are loads of people today who are trying to relive the glory days of the 1960s protest era. What is going today is nothing of that kind. There were truly honest and committed people back then who believed in a cause and went against establish powers and narratives to follow their hearts on true quests to better our world. What goes on today is the worst form of tribalism and self-interest and self-gratification to the highest degree.

“Do you remember those words from the oath of office, by any chance: preserve, protect and defend?”

The Law-And-Order-Routine worked well for Tricky Dick in 1968 during national turmoil. It’s always the go-to position during such times.

Another case where we’ve already seen it all before. Where are those Hollywood writers already?

“Is it possible that plan is not working?”

“That voters are perhaps drawing different conclusions — like maybe they’re getting wise to the seditious hustle being run on them, and maybe a little sick and tired of it?”

    Completely irrelevant

If you think the degenerates you mentioned on the Left side care any more for anyone, you are a sucker for the Liberal movement. There is nothing they will not do for power, nothing. Including destroying the downtowns of cities.

      • cc rider September 7, 2020 at 8:13 pm #

This is more than just the Left working to make sure Trump loses. This is the establishment. I’d say “deep state” but that term has essentially become meaningless due to overuse and misuse, in my opinion. The establishment that make up the CFR, the Trilateral Commission, the EU bureaucrats and oligarchs, the Intelligence apparatus of the entire western world, etc…. They are using the radical Left to do the dirty work. I’m amazed at this tactic because I think it will ultimately backfire.

But, if and when Trump wins that’s where the real “fun” begins. As JHK basically said today.

I think this is ‘throw down the gauntlet time’ for the establishment. They will do whatever it takes to get power back. Whatever-It-Takes. I think they’re ready to burn everything down if they feel that is what it takes.

It’s very interesting that these woke militant SJW types who want to defund law enforcement AND the military are in the same coalition with MIC type warmongers now. When the SJWs say they are protesting and simply fighting for peace and positive change they are lying. They may as well protest directly for the endless wars lobby since they are part of it.

Yep. I have many friends who went from left leaning/centrist on most issues to full-on corprofascist without batting an eye.

That said, most were American or British (emotional and herd-oriented). Most of my German friends have either come to like Trump, or at least admit that there is a lot more going on than many of us understand.

For the latter, having grown up in a society of folks who lived under an actual dictator has a way of improving your critical faculties methinks.

  44. tucsonspur September 7, 2020 at 7:45 pm #

‘Quite a clever election strategy: to wreak as much destruction as possible in cities they control so that voters naturally will blame it on the other party, led by its candidate, the wicked president Trump. Is it possible that plan is not working? That voters are perhaps drawing different conclusions — like maybe they’re getting wise to the seditious hustle being run on them, and maybe a little sick and tired of it?’ JHK

Sure it’s possible, but the polls, whatever their reliability, still have Biden ahead. After all of the violence, you would think that the case would be otherwise, with ‘law and order’ Trump being ahead by far. Taking his mismanagement of the covid and the constant turmoil over the last four years into account, even though largely effectuated by the Democrats, people may be just simply worn out from all the drama, and want to pull the relief lever.

There’s a lot of diversity in the American voting public, so that alone makes election outcomes more difficult to predict. Trump better get a substantial portion of the black and Latino vote if he hopes to win, and he better hope that the actions of a few police officers don’t make him appear to be the racist with his unwavering support of the police.

Then the women’s vote must be taken into account. It’s not just the Republican stance against Planned Parenthood and abortion, but the overall behavior of Trump over the last four years, and how much politically independent women view themselves as objectified or not by him.

I’m now seeing more talk on Fox news in favor of the Democrats than I have before. Saw Biden crush Trump today on Fox news regarding the covid.

Could Trump still bust the Biden ‘ghost’? Sure. Remember, Hillary led in most nationwide and swing state polls in 2016. Bush Jr. lost the popular vote by about half a million in 2000, and Trump lost by three million in 2016. There’s no other way, it will have to be another miracle of the midlands to disarm that army of 3M or more, with the ghosts of the founding fathers coming alive in the hearts and minds of Mid-America.

    • JohnAZ September 7, 2020 at 7:52 pm #

I hear you. I am scratching my head. Why are we seeing such a panicky reaction from the Dems right now if Biden is safely in the lead.

My guess, he isn’t. The DNC knows it. The press is trying to hide it with their BS polls.

And Fox, the hell with them, their leaders are taking them Left fast now. Watch out that the conservative three are removed before the election.

Then there will be very little conservative media, another victory for the Marxist takeover.

I had watched this video a handful of years ago, and I have no doubt that quite a few of you here have seen this before as well. I happened upon it again yesterday and watched it again and was blown away at how prescient this presentation given in 1983 was for us today. As in right now. Yes, the context of this talk was in regards to the cold war. The speaker is a former KGB agent.

The video is about an hour, but well worth it if you have the time. I wish everyone under the age of 40 would watch this. Especially college and high school students….

“About a dozen years after his defection to the West, former KGB-trained subverter Yuri Alexandrovich Bezmenov, under his nom de plume (Tomas David Schuman) lectured in Los Angeles.”

    The Art of Subversion

One of his most powerful lines….”United States is a receptive target for subversion.”

    Yep. Still is.

Yes, a good video. People who are inclined to dismiss it have not read very deeply on the history of the Comintern and the commmunist security services and how front organizations were used to penetrate the west and the universities and bureacracy and control their discourses.

Lots of people – led by the media – still think the Red Scare was bs. They may never have head of the Cambridge Spies or how high they penetrated, of Harry Dexter White and so on.

They think they all went away (to the extent that they ever existed) when the Berlin Wall fell and we had glasnot.

LE has brought down the 5 powerful mafia families in NY, routed out murderous Middle East terror cells, and crushed Columbian drug cartels, but it can’t seem to get a handle on the 500-600 loosely organized vandals and looters operating in Seattle and Portland. Something doesn’t add up.

          Its hard to comprehend …

It’s because they are busy with all of those white supremacist terrorists. And the constant threats of Airport One and Eastasia.

White supremacists present the gravest terror threat to the United States, according to a draft report from the Department of Homeland Security.

Two later draft versions of the same document — all of which were reviewed by POLITICO — describe the threat from white supremacists in slightly different language. But all three drafts describe the threat from white supremacists as the deadliest domestic terror threat facing the U.S., listed above the immediate danger from foreign terrorist groups…

Russia “probably will be the primary covert foreign influence actor and purveyor of disinformation and misinformation in the Homeland,” the documents also say.

In NYC it was actually the Federal LE,primarily US Attorney Rudy Giuliani who busted for good those murderous Wops in 1991.

Local LE was partly on the take or looked the other way or did not give a flying f… for more than 70 years.

I am watching recent developments in Portland.

Can they see thru the spit hoods? If so they could dance around the bonfires so attired. If not, perhaps each could have a “seeing eye person” to help them do so. We wouldn’t want them to step into the flames and have to do a Footloose type dance.

Thanks for posting that article from The Revolver with the info on the Transition Integrity Project. That stuff is amazing. It reads right out of some CIA inspired operation cooked up to supplant a democratically elected leader. This stuff has all types of spookery written all over it.

This passage from the article is very illustrative: “We can start to get a sense that a curiously high percentage of key Trump opposition figures, especially those involved with the impeachment of the President, have or have had some kind of professional role overseeing Color Revolutions in Eastern Europe. The people most viciously and effectively targeting Trump today are regime change professionals of the Color Revolution variety, whose preferred playbook involves a combination of attacking the legitimacy and electoral integrity of their target, mobilizing mass demonstrations of “mostly peaceful protesters,” and using any effort to crack down on said protests to further escalate the offensive against the target regime.”

yep.. and who benefits? multi national corporations? Defense contractors? Always ask yourself rationally & logically with as little emotion in the questioning.. who would benefit from a Trump defeat? Think about the reversal of many decades of neo-con/neo-liberal foreign policy, and who were the winners/losers of those Trump decisions..
what happens when the CIA and other US intel agencies want to depose of foreign governments which they believe are against the interests of those intel agencies? .. propaganda, agitation, CIA funded militia which attack the central government..etc.. much of this is happening right now in the US.

There are two groups which have been granted immunities that put them above the law and which, over time, have allowed them to seize not just national but global control.

First are the banks, which have been granted the power to limitlessly counterfeit.

Second are the security agencies which, under the cover of reasons of state, may commit any crime of any kind, except counterfeiting, and will never be investigated, supervised or censured for any crime.

It is inevitable that with these powers these two groups would end up being the lords of the entire world.

Which is a real national health emergency? Covid or obesity?

Overweight and obesity were associated with nearly 1 in 5 deaths (18.2%) among adults in the United States from 1986 through 2006, according to a study published in the American Journal of Public Health. Previous research has likely underestimated obesity’s impact on US mortality.

Obesity appeared to have a particularly strong effect among black women, with 26. 8% of deaths associated with a BMI of 25 kg/m2 or higher

There were 2,813,503 deaths the USA last year.

So that is around 560,000 annual deaths associated with obesity. And that is not seasonal and happens at this rate every single year, not just this year. Surely that is a national health crisis that is killing and maiming people of all ages and all 28 genders, including POCs (also spelt POX), as we speak!

And then there are the long-term affects of obesity which, while not deadly, are certainly painful and difficult, such as joint pain, sleep apnoea, arthritis, colonitis and cancers, breathing difficulties, and so on. A very long list.

This might be one case where locking down the supermarkets would be the right move.

But government action on this? Zero.

I can’t work out why people might think this covid lockdown is a big fraud.

Eating is to some is like alcohol or drugs to others. A way to handle stress today. Plus the entire food industry has set itself up to stuff as many calories into a serving of processed food, and do not forget the restaurants doing the same thing. Eating for a half hour meal contains 3-5 times the calories as a hundred years ago.

So I say, obesity is number one. Covid piggy backs onto obesity as it seems to be the primary co-morbidity. Considering that obesity affects as many people as it does, Covid’s effect on obesity makes it a equal threat.

Unless you feel Covid is a good way to get rid of all those fat people. Heartless!

    Well, ladies and germs;

The BBC, this PM, reports that California wildfires have set an all-time record for acres having burned in a single fire season.

One of the fires is attributed to what they described as a “gender-reveal” party being illicitly held that used pyrotechnics of some sort.

When I was very young, there were rumors of gender reveal parties…back then, however they were referred to as “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours” parties.

Pyrotechnics? Only if you got caught….

Apparently a gender reveal party has nothing to do with anything untoward contrary to your prurient insinuation.

Boy or Girl in the proverbial oven? Fireworks? What’s the big deal – it was either one or the other. I could understand if a couple had had five girls and wanted a boy or vice versa.

How is your compound? Fireproof? Fire is a terrible weapon, is it not?

        • elysianfield September 8, 2020 at 7:32 pm #

Yes, Sredni, fire is an area denial weapon. Currently I can stare at the sun without filter, as the smoke from fires 60 miles distant is that thick…this is the first day of the year that the Green Fields of Elysium have been so invested.

Usually we have blue sky, the cleanest air found on the continent, and temps that hover around 80F in the day and 50F at night….morning fog in summer is not uncommon.

The compound is not fireproof, but the hills, pastures, and roadsides still have a bit of green in them. Our rated fire danger is “high”, but not “extreme”.

Always very cautious this time of year….

From the NYT article on the hero, Jacob Blake:

“By videoconference from his hospital bed, Mr. Blake pleaded not guilty on Friday to three domestic charges against him, including a sexual assault count. The charges were filed in July. On the day Mr. Blake was shot, the woman who reported the assault called 911, saying that Mr. Blake was at her home. The Kenosha police said they were trying to arrest Mr. Blake when the shooting occurred.

The trial in that case has been scheduled for November, although it could be delayed.

Ben Crump, a civil rights lawyer who is representing Mr. Blake and has represented families of many Black people killed by the police, said Mr. Blake was still coming to terms with the public attention to what had happened to him and what that might mean in the months ahead.

“He hasn’t been able to fully grasp what a symbol he has become,” Mr. Crump said, adding that Mr. Blake was mostly focused on making sure that his young children — three of whom witnessed the shooting — are not traumatized and that they understand that he will emerge from this.

“The way he’s trying to be a strong Black father for his children is the way that he’s taking on the mission of this movement,” Mr. Crump said.

Porche Bennett, an organizer with Black Lives Activists Kenosha, or BLAK, said on Sunday that there would be no pressure on Mr. Blake to publicly take up their cause or to become an outspoken advocate for the movement.

“We know we’ve got his support,” she said.”

    1) Blake’s raping days are most likely over, and 2) beating girlfriends will tougher from now on

so, now he hopefully gets to go to prison for a few years! .. not too many, I don’t rapists in the US do too much time..

    Our future under Uniparty rule.

12 year old boy was attending virtual art class in Widefield, Colorado at home. He started playing with a toy gun while attending the class. The teacher saw him and CALLED the COPS. The cops came over and dressed him down for playing with a gun , told him he could be arrested for taking it to school, and maybe at home. His mother was incensed, asking why didn’t the school call her, not the cops. Good question. The mom said that the teacher knew it was a toy gun.

Just another problem with virtual learning, no control.

    • SoftStarLight September 8, 2020 at 11:34 am #

She should sue the school district for everything they are worth and go on TV and plead for DJT’s help. I think it’s a form of child abuse and it is probably a racial attack.

      • JohnAZ September 8, 2020 at 11:53 am #

It is typical of the liberal takeover of education extended to the virtual theater. The problem with suing anything today is the firewall put up by the Liberal dominated judiciary. The mom would have the same problem as Trump.

    • cc rider September 8, 2020 at 12:10 pm #

But the ongoing problem even before virtual learning is the fact that parents have to worry about teachers either calling the police on a twelve year old boy over toy guns, or sexually molesting him.

I’m betting that this fall the incidents of teachers sexting boy students will increase since they can’t literally get their hands on them as readily right now.

And really, virtual learning or not, there has been no control for some time now. I am actually hoping for public schooling to fail. And perhaps rebuilt with TRUE local control. Feds fuck off.

What seems to be forgotten is that dealing with the Black community by any form of law enforcement is more dangerous than dealing with any other ethnic group. Areas of south Chicago have been basically turned over to the gangs and as BRH reports, it is not a good place to be for a White person. Or a Black person.

Liberals ignore this fact, but is not ironic that every shooting occurrence is with a man with a crime record. Statistics in the ghettoes do not support BLM favorably.

When are the assholes in charge going to react to Black problems by helping the ghettoes develop legitimate economics, instead of just ignoring them, or defunding their law enforcement. The phonies Liberal element in this country are the Blue mayors and especially the Soros picked DAs in the problem cities.

Protestors should remember the story of the little boy that cried wolf. Your fifteen minutes were over a month ago.

If you go to the actual site and read it carefully, it is not saying that these were “COVID19” tests per se in 2017.

I’ve copied and pasted it here….

Medical Test kits (300215) exports by country in 2017
Additional Product information: Diagnostic reagents based on immunological reactions
Category: Medical Test kits/ Instruments, apparatus used in Diagnostic Testing
The data here track previously existing medical devices that are now classified by the World Customs Organization as critical to tackling COVID-19

The key is the last sentence. “PREVIOUSLY existing medical devices that are NOW classified…..as critical to tackling COVID-19.”

This latest BLM/Antifa tactic of mobbing downtown restaurants is particularly reprehensible, specially when you consider 40% of restaurants haven’t reopened and never will, and the ones being targeted are struggling to reestablish themselves. Mobs bursting in shouting slogans, turning over tables, throwing chairs, smashing dishes, driving employees into the streets, surrounding diners and screaming into their faces even little kids and older people, and reaching onto the table and helping themselves to food and drink. A few people trying to get away have been roughed up on the sidewalk. Nobody taught this rabble any manners apparently. No discernable police protection evident, these poor people seem to be on their own. This phenomena is nationwide and coordinated, happened in NYC, Pittsburg, Kenosha, Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle and Portland, which should just about finish off business activity in those downtown districts.

I agree. I work with this organization in our city, and it has locations inside and outside the hospital, all free for the parents. Our MSM regional media did not touch it. I saw videos from parents at Chicago house, I wish I had a stronger or elegant adjectives ( like JHK uses) to describe their violent behavior. My city is under 6 days of protest for the latest victim who died in March. They attacked folks eating in the restaurants in our city, it was ignored by media until the Facebook, and YouTube videos went viral.
It is a risk to speak or question, many who think ,ponder, reason live in guarded fear for their jobs. Also, a local asst. Principal attacking the police with violent adjectives is causing a big stir as well. Sad days indeed.

The Conspirators have evolved an interesting philosophy of Conspiracy. Not super secret but everything out in the open. Thus by when the time comes to deny Trump his victory, it will seem utterly natural to their mindless minions despite it being completely new in American History – and quite possibly the end of America as a Nation.

  68. JohnAZ September 8, 2020 at 12:33 pm #

    Hmmm. Could it be?

Is Trumps attitude toward the military aimed against the upper echelons, the admirals and generals that control the MIC and he feel for the lower echelons, especially the enlisted folks?

If his hatred of the Deep State is real, the military elite are a huge part of that Deep State.

Trump always has a favorable response to the military when he is addressing the troops, the grunts in the trenches. Not so much the elite. His initial fascination with those elites was quelled quickly when his Deep State cabinet member turned against him. His disdain for McCain stemmed from a definite Deep Stater deriving life time benefit from being a POW that was given special treatment. My guess though is Trump does not think much of the officer corps. He would not be the first, think Truman.

His support for the grunts has been there from day one, reducing troops overseas, pay raises, improving their equipment, using them as backdrops for rallies. It is interesting that one of the most conservative presidents we have had in a while may be remembered as a Dove by the Deep State MIC.

  71. Q. Shtik September 8, 2020 at 2:49 pm #

Today is the first day of school for my 2 grandsons via virtual learning. They are 8 and 7 years old respectively. My extended family has been getting a blow by blow description and pics from my daughter-in-law of the preparations leading up to this momentous day.

Each boy’s bedroom has been outfitted with a nice desk and chair and an appropriate computer. Some kids were provided a computer while the parents of others had to buy theirs. I don’t know what criteria were used to decide who got theirs for free.

Anyway, my d-i-l reported by text “The last three hours were distasteful with capital D. I don’t even know how to juggle between two kids schedules. I had to lie down for lunch break because it is just too much! Hopefully the afternoon is not bad and tomorrow goes smoother”

And then she adds “Disastrous with a capital D”

I then asked if she thought the teachers were doing a good job. She replied “Yes they are trying so hard. I have to carry a portable charger at all times because I am communicating with their teachers and helping other parents”

I forgot to mention that my d-i-l recently won an election for president of the PTA so she’s very involved. She’s also a substitute teacher.

I then asked “Are the boys able to stay focused for a one-hour class?”

She answered “Sort of. I am taking turns and camping out in their rooms so I can listen to the lesson.”

Then came the best part that had me laughing MAO.

D-i-l reported that “People need to mute themselves. I am hearing kids screaming “I pooped!” “Where is my water?” Screaming kids my head is about to explode”

Then my son Thom chimes in with an anecdote horror story from HIS on-line class. He’s 43 years old and started Nursing School remotely a week ago Saturday.

D-i-l replied: “I hear you Thom! This is horrible! Theo missed math and gym! The whole website crashed on everyone. Poor teachers needed a break and so did the kids. I am sitting here cursing at the laptops and sent the boys on the trampoline to burn some energy. Dear God! I need to run away to a remote island! I am so done”

    • Kim September 8, 2020 at 9:05 pm #

First, what a waste of time.

Second, a guaranteed way to make children hate learning.

Third, how do you miss “gym” remotely?

      • cc rider September 9, 2020 at 1:08 pm #

What makes this so outrageous is how unnecessary this all is with the remote learning horse shit. If a few of the Scandinavian countries never shut down schools and had a death rate less than ours, then WTF? Other Euro countries restarted their schools after shutting them down just temporarily and their death rate is lower than ours. (Of course I’m giving the benefit of the doubt on all the death count bullshit).

So ridiculous. What the pandemic has really exposed is how stupid collectively our country is. And who runs the public school systems? Oh yes, our college edumacated bestest and brightest. WASF.

It looks like we’re headed into a new Dark Age of barbarism? The Americans, particularly the young Americans, are extremely ignorant, particularly of their own Western Civilization, history, and culture. There’s pervasive anomie and economic despair so people find emotional release and meaning in ignorant protest and anarchy. Eventually, it will likely go Authoritarian?

    • malthuss September 8, 2020 at 4:54 pm #

1970–USA almost 90% White and immigration was low [hence assimilation likely].

      2020–the melting not.

    • Kim September 8, 2020 at 10:07 pm #

Barbarism you say? What about “savagery?”

National Rally leader Marine Le Pen has used the term for years and again invoked the problems of lawlessness during a party speech over the weekend in the southern commune of Fréjusin.

Le Pen said the growing violence was “a consequence of the anarchic and uncontrolled immigration imposed on the French for decades”. She added it was from “a multicultural society that was also imposed on the French that this violence has sprouted”.

So you import savges and get savagery? Remarkable.

Better defund those police, end bail, and release more felons.

An 18-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a couple who were shot during a phony car sale that was arranged online, police say.

Joseph Roland, 39, and his wife Jossline Roland, 40, leave behind five children after they were shot dead outside an apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado, while trying to buy an SUV.

The couple were carrying $3,000 in cash to pay for the RAV4 that was advertised by Kyree Brown on app Letgo when he allegedly shot them dead and took the money after meeting them at 11pm on August 14.

And here are some excellent examples of what mental illness looks like. Of course, upstanding citizens like this are released without bail.

It is strange that people like Majella and Green Alba never speak against this culture of violence and mental illness, this, uh, savagery.

      • Kim September 8, 2020 at 10:07 pm #

It’s all probably just a conspiracy theory.

        • Majella September 9, 2020 at 6:23 am #

They don’t look like they’re about to hunt you down & rape you, little Kimmy. But I have to say I’m impressed that your already bulging resume of impressive qualifications now includes diagnosis of mental illness, based on a single photograph! The FBI would snap you up in a hot minute, if only they KNEW!

Before criticizing the “released without bail” photo-objects, can you please itemize the crime (each) was charged with, and clarify whether “released without bail” means anything in terms of their legal/criminal liability? I mean, it can’t just mean they walk, and no-one gives a toss, right? Right?

          • Kim September 9, 2020 at 7:58 am #

Yes, I condemn violence in ANY situation, as I pointed out earlier…sorry – I didn’t realise I need to reiterate it every time you throw a new ‘outrage’ into the mix.

Not a story widely reported in American media, and in local media I suspect certain details obfuscated, covered up, or just simply lied about.

I think its telling that to get an accurate picture of what’s happening inside the USA I need to go to sites like Daily Mail and Sky News, to name just a few.

Apparently many blacks see Whitey as merely prey now, and the media’s lack of honesty about it — something we see every day with our very eyes — is leading to their demise.

  73. Pucker September 8, 2020 at 4:54 pm #

“Are the boys able to stay focused for a one-hour class?”

I recall that in Junior High School that one afternoon I was so horny that I went into the back room of the library where they stored old newspapers and magazines and I whacked off. I was lucky that no one walked into the room at the time. I would have had to report to the “Headmasters Office” to explain myself. The Headmaster was eventually purged after it was disclosed that the Headmaster was pressuring teachers to give his daughter, Jennifer, good grades. I wanted to screw Jennifer, albeit she was much younger than I was. In addition, I’m sure that Jennifer’s dad often maligned me in private conversation in front of Jennifer. Of course, some girls find adolescent male rebellion this alluring. But what can you do?

    • Disaffected September 10, 2020 at 6:26 am #

LOL! Ahh yes, Jr High! I remember many an English class being terrorized by fear of being called to the blackboard to diagram a sentence for Mr. White while in the midst of an 8th grade erotic reverie and its attendant bulge. The hot pants wave was indeed the shiznit while it lasted! Mr. White was openly gay, even back in prehistoric 1972, so I’m sure he enjoyed the show, while torturing us aspiring adolescent horndogs.

Thank you for that glimpse into remote learning, Q. Now for some dialogue of a very different kind.

We all have heard the Dem candidate for vice-president, Kamala Harris, speak. Her voice is nasal and whiney. She always sounds as if she is about to burst into tears. This voice served her well as a prosecutor, when she tried to make defendants feel guilty. It also works well in any setting where she is trying to be a manipulator. Manipulators like to use guilt to control people.
Here we find Kamala (K) in the parking lot of a convenience store, attempting to get money from a victim (V), a white middle-aged, middle-class man.

K: I’m ‘trying to get to work, and my car’s out of gas. Would you please give me five dollars for gas?

    V: No.

K: OK, now be very careful how you answer the following question: Do you have $5?

    V: No.

K: Do you have debit or a credit card?

    V: Yes.

K: Will you go to the ATM in this store and get me $5?

    V: No.

    K: Why won’t you?

V: Because I never give money to panhandlers.

K: Are you calling me a panhandler? I’m just trying to get to work. Why do you want me to get fired?

    V: I don’t believe your story.

K: I think you are prejudiced because I am Black.

V: You don’t look Black to me.

K: You may not know this about me, but when I was in school I had to ride a bus to integrate an all-white high school. How do you feel about me now?

V: I still think you are White.

K: (Whining, nasal.) You won’t give me money, and you have insulted me. Do you know you are a bad person? What do you think of that?

V: What I think is none of your business. Excuse me; I’m leaving. (Gets in car.) (Backs out of parking space.)

K: You sure like your White privilege don’t you? Systemic racism strikes again. (Whining) You’re gonna get me fired!! Are you happy now??

V: (Driving away.) What a world-class manipulator! That whining voice!

Yeah we had a place in Spain my wife inherited; we were advised to sell it for this exact reason.

The advice was get rid of it before local squatters show up and take it over. Squatters have rights in Spain that supersede private property rights, specially if the owners of the private property are absentee owners from the United States, and the squatters are related to the mayor.

Vdare review of the book, “Antifa”.

The mind of a rational person rebels at the suggestion of such an unlimited, existential conflict. After all, reasonable people should always be able to come to a compromise, some settlement which will avoid violence and chaos. But there are some people who cannot be reasoned with, whose objectives are so unlimited and irrational that not only compromise, but even co-existence with them, is impossible.

Americans face such an existential threat in the form of the Leftist vigilante group that calls itself “antifa.” And now Americans have the first examination of the so-called “anti-fascists” from a patriot perspective in a new book Antifa: What Americans Need To Know About The Alt-Left. (Published by the eccentric but basically orthodox conservative website WND, the book oddly lists no author).

Antifa have been plaguing immigration patriots for many years. But it’s only recently that the average American has become aware of their existence. The attacks on Trump supporters during and after the presidential campaign have made Americans aware of what the president eventually termed the “Alt-Left.”

Of course, most Establishment conservatives were using the term “Alt” as simply a synonym for “bad.” And their typical criticism of the black-clad thugs was that they were “the real fascists.” The huckster Dinesh D’Souza has built an entire career in presenting this alternate history to the gullible and well-meaning [America: Imagine A World Without Her, by Gregory Hood, Counter Currents, July 17, 2017].

Structured as a “Special Report,” Antifa rejects this Conservatism Inc. cliché and provides an accurate history of the rise of fascism as well as anti-fascism. It argues the entire debate about fascism and “anti-fascism” is essentially backwards: Fascism arose as a reaction to the Communist revolution in Russia and the attempted Communist revolutions in Hungary, Slovakia and parts of Germany:

“Without communist revolution and without the vanguard leftist parties that launched those revolutions, there would have been no reason for fascism ever to exit,” the anonymous author writes. “Essentially, the communist revolutionaries and their ‘direct action’ tactics had created their own nemesis capable of defeating them in the streets and willing to compete with them for the loyalty of the workers.

Similarly, instead of arising as a response to fascism, the modern antifa movement was “just a brand for already existing communist and anarchist activists”—yet another “front group” in the long line of “front groups” the Reds have cobbled together throughout their bloody history.

In some ways, the brand hasn’t even developed since the 1930s, as contemporary antifa still use the “flags within flags” and “three arrows” logos first created by the German Communists (KPD) and Socialist (SPD) parties.

“Anti-fascism,” as the author details, has been a remarkably consistent slogan of the Totalitarian Left in all its manifestations. From the Berlin Wall (the “Anti Fascist Protection Rampart”) to the British “Anti Nazi League” (a creation of the Socialist Workers Party), this Left (including left-anarchists such as the “autonomists”) always frames itself as the only defense against “fascism.” Of course, by “fascists,” it means everyone else in the world.

Given current events, it’s worth noting most of Orwell’s Homage To Catalonia is about the vicious infighting between various Spanish leftist factions, all ostensibly at war with Francisco Franco. And as Antifa: What Americans Need To Know About The Alt-Left points out, Spanish Republican heroine Dolores Ibárruri, who famously utilized the antifa No Pasarán! (“They shall not pass”) slogan during the Battle for Madrid, was a Stalinist who thoroughly approved of the bloody purges against Trotskyists and anarchists because she claimed they were “fascists.”

Indeed, Antifa: What Americans Need To Know About The Alt-Left is a critical warning to every American, not just conservatives, that they are all being targeted by antifa. Just as every Communist regime has always violently targeted “wreckers” to explain policy failures, so must antifa target an ever increasing number of “fascists” as the impossible (and undesirable) goal of “equality” remains forever over the horizon.

No one can even define “racism” anymore; being “colorblind” has gone from the definition of anti-racism to proof of white supremacy within only a few years. [Colorblindness: the New Racism? By Afi-Odelia E. Scruggs, Teaching Tolerance, Fall 2009]

    As Antifa’s author notes:

[T]he process of continuous social revolution has no limits. Average citizens may say they are opposed to “racism” but… that word is being continuously redefined so that almost everyone who is not actually Antifa is a “racist,” and therefore a target. Words such as “ableism,” “heteronormativity,” or “transphobia” would have drawn confused stares from the vast majority of the population even a few years ago. Today, they are seen as grounds to get someone fired from his or her job or attack him or her in the street.
As “Anti-fascism” quite explicitly defines itself as anti-liberal (in the classical sense of liberalism), it repudiates the right to free speech and takes upon itself the responsibility to enforce through violence a remarkably narrow definition of what people can and cannot say, it is of course quintessentially totalitarian. And, not surprisingly, it is Main Stream Media journalists, who themselves now operate almost entirely as commissars, who enable these terrorists by consistently providing them adoring coverage and spearheading their attack campaigns. Indeed, reporters keep running interference for Antifa even as Antifa itself keeps physically attacking them [Physical assault on journalists’ rap sheet reveal Antifa 10 – Trump Supporters 0, by John Nolte, Breitbart, August 31, 2017].

Of course, many “conservatives” don’t particularly want to hear this either. After all, Conservatism Inc. has a long history of tacitly working with Antifa to police “the movement.” Thus National Review was silent when antifa began closing down American Renaissance conferences, even suppressing a diary item by John Derbyshire—because American Renaissance had made devastating criticisms of National Review’s cuckservatism and its betrayal of immigration patriotism that the NR girlyboys could not answer, especially while pursuing their real careers as MSM token rightists.

And the Beltway Right is hardly interested in a serious discussion of political history anyway. It’s quite content to voice platitudes about Progressives of being “the real fascists.”

But Antifa demonstrates that “anti-fascism” is not merely Left Totalitarianism, but now deeply anti-white. All efforts by well-meaning grassroots conservatives to try to prove they are not “fascist” or “racist” are doomed to failure: “By definition, Antifa must have enemies that can be dehumanized as evil and dangerous; otherwise they lose their entire reason for existence.”

Indeed, many European-Americans are starting to understand the demands for “equality” were never about equality. The goalposts will always be moved; the demands for more concessions and redistribution of wealth always increased. No matter how much conservatives (and whites in general) give, the Establishment Left, following in the train of its antifa vanguard, will always demand more.

Immigration patriots also should pay careful attention to Antifa. Many grassroots Americans continue to show a baffling naivete when it comes to the immigration debate. It’s not uncommon to hear conservatives, or even Trump supporters, say they want to “be fair” to DACA recipients or welcome legal, as opposed to illegal, immigrants. But claims that illegals are “new Americans” are just as dishonest as claims that antifa are simply “opposed to fascism.” In both cases, friendly-sounding propaganda is used to conceal a far more radical agenda.

In his weird way, and perhaps despite himself, Donald Trump has forced many Republicans into recognizing the antifa threat at last. Antifa: What Americans Need To Know About The Alt-Left is an indication that mainstream conservatives are finally waking up to the terrifying reality of the American Left’s paramilitaries.

And perhaps it is a sign average Americans will no longer allow their declared enemies to tell them what they are allowed to think, say, and hear.

SV: The Truth at last! As Churchill said, We killed the wrong pig. Imagine if we had attacked the Soviet Union in the East as Germany attacked from the West. What joy that Victory would have been! Instead we killed our brothers and now we are under the same assault with none to come to our aid.

Fascism is Nationalism in general. Specifically, as the article states, It is the modern industrial state’s response to Communist attack.

Hans Baur was HItler’s pilot for ten years, 1932-1945, and after the war was interned in the Soviet Union for ten years, 1945-1955.

He recounts in his 1956 memoir that after some years in special interrogation prisons he was finally assigned to a standard internment camp with other German soldiers. At these camps “Twice a week there were meetings of the so-called Antifa, a camp anti-Fascist organization, and we were regaled with political speeches…”

That book was published in 1956. So Antifa has been around as an integral part of international communism for a very long time and in so many contexts, as here it was operating in prison camps.

      • Sredni Vashtar September 8, 2020 at 10:32 pm #

Sounds like a good read. Few ever returned from the Soviet POW Camps. Did they know who he was? If so, even more amazing.

Hans Baur. I got the book here, where over time I have got many hundreds of books. It is not a very detailed book. Just a light memoir.

I regularly trawl the history/military/biography sections of this site. One thing I like about it is that it carries a lot of left-academic books and that forces me to read things that I would not normally look for. For example, not too long ago I read a memoir of a journalist who was involved with Marxists who were trying to radicalize tribesmans in the Indian tribal areas. It was very interesting. If you just stay in your lane, you never learn anything.

        • Kim September 9, 2020 at 12:13 am #

Yes, they certainly knew who he was and they interrogated him fiercely and for a number of years before they put him into the larger internment system. He lost one of his legs through the entire process as he had been injured in the fall of Berlin and the injury was not cared for.

If the Soviet Union had fallen, they might not be harvesting human organs in communist China today. It is in second position in the world for the number of organ transplants it carries out (after the US) but until criticism began to emerge it had no volunteer organ donation program. Now it does have such a program. 37 people had signed up at last count. In Britain, there are 18 million in the donor program.

So where do the organs come from?

The Fa Leuhn Gong is a major source. Ten thousand transpants a year (at at least $50,000 per organ, so it is a nice business) but because of parts-matching requirements, they have to keep 100,000 “donors” on standby.

In the USA, with a huge donor program, you might wait a year or more for a donor. In China, the wait is seven days.

So the horrors of 20th century communism did not end with the Holodomor, or the Great Leap Forward, but continue today.

I am waiting for the WHO to denounce the Chinese organ-theft industry. I may be waiting a while.

Well, no, because, by definition, homosexuals who rape minors are not having “sex” with them.

On the other hand, yes, this is pedophilia (child rape) activism.

So what is being protected here? This?

A 22-year-old Anaheim man pleaded guilty Wednesday to having sex with a 12-year-old girl he met through a dating app and was immediately sentenced to 16 months in jail.

This legislation is about one thing and one thing only: giving pedophiles, including homosexual pedophiles intent on sodomizing children, legally safer access to children.

This kind of thing is reminiscent of the thuggery murder cult that operated in India in the 19th C. There is a fascinating account of them on wikipedia:

The relevance here is that this was an especially brutal, secretive and feared criminal organization and that it was organized as families and had a religious justification for their activities.

How did the British eliminate them? Well, in those days Britain and white people still had some stones.

The Brits appointed William Henry Sleeman to deal with them https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Henry_Sleeman

In 1839 the Brits hanged or transported 1400 of them. I have read elsewhere that they were especially concerned to capture both fathers and sons so as to destroy the generational tradition of thuggery.

I doubt that the Swedes will execute these animals, but natural life spent in supermax, one man, one cell, fathers, sons, uncles, wives, – no outside communication, corruption-free staffing –
would end these gangs inside twenty years.

That is, if TPTB really want them ended.

Been listening to NPR the last couple days to see what the permanent bureaucracy & the Left are worried about nowadays.. lots of talk about higher education funding. A couple of women from ‘think tanks’ were on NPR yesterday talking about how local & state governments “will need” (notice the pronouncement) to fund universities, because higher ed. isn’t getting federal monies like there were in the past. The same with corporate America– it “will have to” (again the pronouncement) fund higher ed.

NPR is really great if you want a window into the minds of CIA analysts & college professors. For example, on the NPR website, under Editor’s Picks regarding “National Security” is the story about how the US is cutting 1/2 of US troops in Iraq by the end of September. Notice how it is under “National Security” LOL! Only a neo-con imperialist would believe that such a story constitutes “National Security”.

Further up, there is another story about how the Oscar’s will now have a diversity purity test to be considered for an award. This won’t improve film– on the contrary, it is going to push any really good, compelling films to where what “art films” used to be– on the edges. Those types of movies used to be cutting edge. Now they are the establishment.

    • SoftStarLight September 9, 2020 at 12:36 pm #

NPR is like critical race theory. It needs to be totally defunded. Progressive domestic terrorists have plenty of support since they are funded by the most wealthy people on Earth so why do they need public funds too? All the NPR pundits and propagandists should be arrested for treason. If we were a real country that is what would happen to people who undermine peace and civilization.

      • Rupert September 9, 2020 at 4:15 pm #

I used to love some of NPR’s programming but as I grew out of the college daze I noticed their news become ever-more grating. The way they fawned over the fracking industry when big money donors demanded it made me feel something was off…

Which makes me wonder who’s funding the Woke apologia. NPR hackery leans left but it leans institutional and follows the lure of the various ‘foundations’, which represent big money and three letter interests.

NPR is currently more or less a wholly owned subsidiary of the DNC.

15 to 20 years ago, that was not the case. It was a good neutral source of information, and they offered interesting cultural programming.

They, like so many other formerly trusted institutions in the US, should be destroyed and scattered on the wind.

In an incredible display of gaslighting, Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden denied his party wants to defund the police, claiming that President Trump is actually the one who wants to defund the police.

Despite the fact Democrats have made “defunding the police” a central policy platform by the likes of Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Ilhan Omar (Minn.), and dozens of others (including Biden himself), Biden incredibly claimed that President Trump is “the only one” who wants to defund the police.

“I not only don’t want to defund the police, I’m the one calling for $300 billio- million more for local police for community policing,” Biden told reporters Tuesday. “The only person calling to defund the police is Donald Trump.”

At least 13 Democrat-run cities have cut funding from police budgets, including Washington D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Portland, New York, and Minneapolis.

You are obviously spiritual. Here is a thought for you.

We should not worry about the state of things because everything is in God’s hands.

Americans better worry about this big time. In the Old Testament , God has a nasty habit of walking away from the Jewish nation when they wander away from the Gilded Pathway too much. Much misery occurs when that happens.

America has wandered away to the extent of Sodom and Gomorrah over the past fifty years or so. We know what happened there. Justification is non-belief in God. We also know what has happened with that one.

Watch out America, God may be looking for a new “Great human experiment”. Without God, we are nothing.

Like what is happening right now.

You assume all tribulations are part of a grand plan, perhaps even a benevolent plan.

Maybe…just maybe, God has a wicked sense of humor? Is this how he amuses himself? Are humans the metaphorical flies that wings are to be torn from?

Excuse me, but I am having a bad day….

You and I disagree on a point. You blame God for bad things happening.

God is not human, He is incomprehensible to us as humans. He is the creator and maintainer of everything. God does not interfere, his order of the universe causes things to happen is systematic ways. Bring hot and cold air masses together and violence happens, tornadoes, hurricanes, derechos.

Humans bring things onto themselves. People insisting on living on the coast of Florida should not blame God for hurricanes. People in Kansas, tornadoes. Evil emanates from Mankind, crime, murder etc. is not God’s fault, it is ours. Look at Seattle, Mt. Rainer, when it blows, God will be blamed, when Vesuvius blows, God will be blamed. Deviation to the norm exists in God’s plan, DNA is modified by the act or procreation, so maybe crooked backs are a part of the plan.

Man creates most of his own devils. I, for one, believe that evil streams from Mankind, whether an entity, Lucifer, is the source

Judging God is ludicrous and stems from goes thinking they are bigger than God. That makes me laugh and a little sad. Man is a tiny, little pipsqueak in the domain of the universe who God for some reason deemed deserving to be given the gift of sentience. Are we worth it? ????

          • elysianfield September 10, 2020 at 12:18 am #

“You and I disagree on a point. You blame God for bad things happening.”

No, I am not being judgmental. I would suggest that believers, however, might consider an alternative to the concept of a benign God. Maybe, if he exists, he is more Old Testament than the current crop of Christians might accept.

There was a lot of “smitin” going on back then, as I understand it.

Have you ever uttered a prayer of thanks when you have benefitted somehow? Avoided an accident…escaped a burning building, a family member recovers from an illness or accident? What about the others killed in an accident, burned up in a building, or died of a disease? Were they less devout? Or was dying in agony part of God’s great plan?

Humans do, indeed, bring tribulations onto their heads…the babies with crooked backs and inoperable cleft palate or some other horror must be guilty of something….

Again, I apologize…I have no business discussing this topic.

Hey E. If you’re looking in,

In LA it looks like the Sheriffs Dept is more willing to take the fight to the street mobs than the LAPD. Is that an accurate assessment, and if so, what would be the reason?

          • elysianfield September 10, 2020 at 11:45 am #

“In LA it looks like the Sheriffs Dept is more willing to take the fight to the street mobs than the LAPD. ”

I can say, without fear of contradiction, that the vast, vast majority of street cops wearing any color uniform, would “take the fight to the street mobs”…would do so with…enthusiasm, and even without pay if necessary.

The stand-down orders are from the political entities. The rank and file on the departments have absolutely zero input in those decisions.

Like a dog on a bone.

Like a chicken on a June bug.

Like Mofo’s excoriation of the Catholic church….

Consider that crowd control, if done properly, is not a give an take event. Much is given…little received, if any.

How ’bout that Kirstie Alley! You go girl! Often I have found her in the past to be quite off-putting, but I’m giving her an ovation right now.

Agreed. She is far more level-headed and down to earth than I would have assumed.

    Kindergartner vs an over-the-hill septuagenarian.

Kindergartners always win on cuteness points. Most can’t spell
    “septuagenarian” correctly, though.

If Trump wins, things will be very positive for the world. At the least, we will set back the effort to create the global plantation for another decade or so.

This election really has nothing to do with the superficial bullshit you are suggesting.

The fishing rods, hooks, lures, ice chests, rubber worms, etc. in the Bass Pro probably belong to Black people as the fruits of slavery?

Paul Singer and Bass Pro hooked Cabela’s and gutted Sidney. Ruthless capitalism at work:

      • BackRowHeckler September 9, 2020 at 9:19 pm #

Cabelas a little low on ammo supply, I figured there was a problem somewhere. Looks like the problem is at the top.

        • benr September 10, 2020 at 7:55 am #

          Ammo shortage everywhere.

      • cc rider September 9, 2020 at 10:49 pm #

Yeah earlier this year, or maybe it was last year, I saw a in depth report on what Bass Pro did to Cabela’s hometown there in Nebraska. Infuriating and tragic. A lot of decent hard working people’s lives were turned upside down. Destroyed in essence.

I was both surprised and stunned to find out the extent to which critical race theory has penetrated our institutions, especially the military. This is from Tucker yesterday:

This three minute segment takes it further:

I’ve just watched Fox news again where Biden is bashing Trump on the covid, using his interviews with Bob Woodward as ammunition. This is CNN, but you hear Trump downplay the virus, and why he gets sucked into this by Woodward I’ll never know:

Trump has something of a defense in saying he wanted to avoid a panic, but there it is again. Defense, almost always on the defensive.
He just went on the offensive against CRT, and now rumors will fly that he’s the Grand Wizard of the new Clan.

    • Sredni Vashtar September 9, 2020 at 8:06 pm #

They want to turn us into a caste of Untouchables. Thank God for White Nationalism. They’ve been right about everything – including who is ultimately behind this monstrousity.

      • tucsonspur September 10, 2020 at 2:58 am #

And they are strong in number and insidious in method. Hillary has said Biden must not concede in any case. I fear the absence of righteous action if Trump should lose. The Day of the Dead approaches.

    • BackRowHeckler September 9, 2020 at 9:26 pm #

Hey TS, do you think Critical Race theory is a priority in the PLA, or the Chinese People’s Navy, or Chinese Elite Marines, or Russian Spetznatz?

I don’t know if it’s a joke or not but I read in Navy Boot Camp along with your Blue Jackets Manual you are also issued an EEOC manual, and a copy of White Fragility.

Systemic racism is real – but only against Whites. This is the proof. No more is needed but there is much, much more.

    • Nightowl September 10, 2020 at 3:28 pm #

It doesn’t matter. As the news clips from the time show all of the MSM stations downplaying it.

From Anderson Vanderbilt to the N”Get a grippe”YT.

      It is all on tape.

The MSM has made a mockery of itself yet again.

  99. Sredni Vashtar September 9, 2020 at 8:29 pm #

“Conservatism starts from a sentiment that all mature people can readily share: the sentiment that good things are easily destroyed, but not easily created. This is especially true of the good things that come to us as collective assets: peace, freedom, law, civility, public spirit, the security of property and family life, in all of which we depend on the cooperation of others while having no means single handedly to obtain it.

“In respect of such things, the work of destruction is quick, easy and exhilarating; the work of creation slow, laborious and dull. That is one of the lessons of the twentieth century.

“It is also one reason why conservatives suffer such a disadvantage when it comes to public opinion. Their position is true but boring, that of their opponents exciting but false.” – Roger Scruton

SV: Diversity is fatal too all the good things enumerated above. Thus Liberalism has robbed from the Volk Gut, and America has been hollowed out both deeply and broadly.

  100. JohnAZ September 9, 2020 at 10:28 pm #

Well, stage two of the Democratic insanity is in the works. Illinois and New York, Cuomo, have decided to tax the wealthy more as their tax bases shrivel up due to folks moving away from the odious tax environments. Further proof of the suicidal spiral of the Dems. Can someone please explain to these idiots that if the tax the wealthy more, the wealthy are going to leave even more. If the Dems retain control over the hearts of the country, they are going to lead this country into oblivion.

    Too late?

Once, I dreamed the world was beautiful. I dreamed the entire Earth was the Garden of Eden, with gorgeous orchards, teeming with pure babbling brooks where lions and sheep drank together. I dreamed mankind lived healthily for hundreds of years, and forgot what hate was. The sun shined most every day and the weather was always temperate.
People sang and danced to heavenly music, and the air was thick with joy.

Then I woke and found that the world was filled with jealousy, hate and avarice. Human life was short and brutal, and killing and violence rampant. The babbling brooks had dried up and the waters and oceans poisoned, the air dark and polluted, the tops of mountains lopped off and black with coal dust, wondrous forests and jungles cut down. Winters were harsh and long. Locusts plagued the land.

I cried. I cried for what could have been, for what God intended and his people spurned. Maybe God was too optimistic. Maybe in his disappointment and anger he will swing his mighty arm and sweep the table clean.

Or maybe things will just continue to go to hell slowly. I’d count more on that. But the good news is that you’re going to die out of this mess sooner or later, so the old maxim “this too shall pass” applies. No telling what comes next.

The UK has been well on its way to a police state long before The Hoax was unleashed.

Every time I was there I was stunned by the groupthink, the cameras covering every square inch of metro areas, and the general tone of security types. Far worse than the US, and things got bad there after 9/11.

Most of the 5EYES countries are already nearly lost.

      • Majella September 10, 2020 at 5:32 pm #

The UK endured 30 years of domestic terrorism from the IRA. ‘Nuff said.

In what way is this article or your gripe referring to anything ‘antipodean’?

      • Sredni Vashtar September 10, 2020 at 9:26 pm #

Because the full horror was first rolled out in New Zealand and Australia.

Trump’s narcissism puts him in hot water… again.

    First Axios, now Woodward’s book.

    Yes Woodward.
    From the Post Woodward.

Why would this imbecile grant interviews to people totally on record as to trying to ruin him?

Because it makes him feel important.
    It boosts his fragile ego.

This own-foot-shooting idiot can’t leave office soon enough, and at least the lunatics coming in in January ’21 know their enemies.
