You might not know it these lazy, hazy, muggy days of midsummer, but things are getting pretty wildly out-of-hand in our republic. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. blew up the Democratic Party yesterday in the House Subcommittee on Weaponization of Government hearing, acting like a normal human while being set upon by a flock of harpies desperately screeching “Russia, Russia, Russia,” as if that means anything anymore. He branded them as worse than the McCarthyites of the 1950s, rebuked their insane scurrilities supporting censorship, and left them in a state of exhausted disgrace.

It happens that he is running for the nomination of that very party knocking itself out to destroy him. To win that prize he would have to put a thousand top Democrats through some grueling act of repentance and contrition — and then you’ve got to ask yourself: who would even want to win the support of such vile creatures as Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Jerrold Nadler, and Adam Schiff, let alone be associated with them in the same club?

Elsewhere around the scene this week, we have the ever more degenerate antics of the FBI on view as whistleblowers pour out of the woodwork disclosing the rot behind Director Chris Wray and his boss AG Merrick Garland. This Deep State Blob of turpitude has been growing and festering with so many overlapping cover-ups that they’ve run out of rugs to sweep their crimes under. The massive moneygrubbing misdeeds of Hillary Clinton from Skolkovo and Uranium One beat a direct path through the Ukraine coup of 2014, to RussiaGate, to the Biden Family’s global influence-peddling operation and every mendacious act in-between including the FISA falsehoods, the J-6 entrapment caper, hundreds of malicious and deceitful prosecutions, the Covid-19 fraud, the censorship and medical tyranny, and God-knows how many ensuing deaths from a poisonous vaccine… and now, a brain-dead government trifling with nuclear war.

And whose brilliant idea was it, anyway, to install this disgusting and incompetent grifter, “Joe Biden,” as our head-of-state? They surely knew well before 2019 that his bag-man son was rooting out bribes in Ukraine, China, and elsewhere, at the same time he was consorting with whores and trafficked children while destroying his brain with crack and downing a fifth of vodka a day. And you’re telling me that the CIA and FBI did not know about any of this, even before October 2019 when Hunter’s laptop stuffed with graphic evidence fell into their hands? If they didn’t know any of this, then what’s the point of having an intel community?

My guess is that it was Barack Obama’s idea to stick “Joe Biden” in the White House in the vain effort to use this captive criminal to stave off any accounting for the aforesaid villainies that occurred during Mr. Obama’s two terms. The mission was originally Hillary Clinton’s — she had plenty at stake herself — but she botched the job in 2016 and allowed the Golden Golem of Greatness to slip into power. It is amazing to look back and see how the mighty Blob congealed after that election — like a giant rogue macrophage — to surround and eliminate Mr. Trump, who apparently did not know for many months what he was up against: the entire permanent bureaucracy. Obviously, the Blob only partly succeeded in deactivating Mr. Trump, who has worked sedulously since 2021 to marshal about half the country militantly against the Blob and Blobism, while he still suffers one rear-guard legal affront after another.

Trouble is, the Blob itself has become an immune disorder for the polity known as the USA, and now threatens to destroy everything the country stands for and all the stuff deployed on the landscape from sea to shining sea, if the hypersonic nukes fly. These are dangerous weeks ahead. The pedal’s on the metal… the rubber’s meeting the road, and we seem to be watching a Thelma and Louise type denouement writ large.

The Blob itself, with the Democratic Party at its nucleus, and evil organelles Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, and their like floating in the endoplasmic reticulum, has gone insane trying to protect its Precious, liberalism’s sacred bowling trophy, Barack Obama, from scrutiny. To call Mr. Obama to account, of course, would be viewed as the ultimate act of American “racism,” a place too many will not go. So, he may evade responsibility until he (and the rest of us) are gone and history catches up with him.

But is there any doubt now that “Joe Biden” must go, and as soon as possible? Surely there is enough evidence to mount an impeachment in the House, and rev it up as expeditiously as the Democrats revved up their two Trump impeachments. An impeachment would, of course, force a trial in the Senate. It is probably the one news event that The New York Times, The Washington Post, and CNN can’t run and hide from — as they have been hiding from this week’s whistleblower hearings and Mr. Kennedy’s sturdy performance against the House censorship activists. In a Senate trial, the rot will finally be laid out before the people to judge, whether the Senate can bring itself to convict “JB” or not. Anyway, it will end this president’s pretense of running for reelection, and on the off-chance he’s convicted, his pardon powers do not extend to that particular extraordinary Senate proceeding. And then we can see about Ms. Harris.

In April, 2023, Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Kathie Breault was indicted in the Eastern States District Federal Court for “Conspiracy to Defraud the United States” for giving vaccination cards to people who did not receive Covid-19 vaccinations. Her defense is that the vaccinations were ineffective and harmful, and to administer them would violate the Hippocratic oath of health professionals (First do no harm). Her legal battle against a dishonest and vindictive federal government will require lawyer’s fees that exceed her ability to pay — a reminder that “the process is the punishment.”

Kathie has also been accused of “professional misconduct” by the New York State Licensing Board for prescribing Ivermectin via telehealth visits in July 2021. Many other medical practitioners across the United States have been similarly persecuted and some have lost their licenses to practice. Kathie has been under investigation by New York’s Office of Professional Discipline since March 2022. No decision has been reached as of May 2023.

I always thought Harris would go first. Biden can then pick a VP – does not have to be Speaker of the house. All that is required is Senate confirmation. That VP would be someone the (D) expect to run and win in 2024 as president.

Once that’s done, Biden can resign, get impeached, or die of old age. The stage will have been set.

My last month’s paycheck was 11000 dollars. All I did was simple 0nline work from comfort at home for 6-8 hours/day that I got from this agency I discovered over the internet and they paid me 45 dollars every hour.

All I’ve got to say at 2:41 AM because of insomnia is last year I paid $830,000 income tax and I work my ass off and I’m 67 years old and I know that everything I’ve been told my whole life most of it’s been a lie Almost everything is been a lie. Remember Jimmy Carter with the gas guzzlers and no oil l in the 70s and we got to drive 55 to conserve petroleum. Remember that whole line of bullshit and all the bullshit that has come from Washington all these years later and now it’s impossibly horrible. Impossibly horrible. They usurped all of us. It’s been a lie after lie after lie since I don’t know win maybe JFK maybe before JFK but it’s been a lie after lie after lie constantly and we are the victims and we get to pay for it like tax cows.

  2. Mountain gal July 21, 2023 at 9:37 am #

But what about Ms Harris indeed? Are we going to be any better off?

    • SangPur July 21, 2023 at 10:09 am #

Paul: Got to admit it’s getting better, a little better all the time…

      John: Can’t get no worse!

      • MrMangoOnMyShoulder July 21, 2023 at 11:32 am #

Harris would easily (somehow) be worse.

The last thing we need is an uninformed, very bad 1st grade teacher cackling down at us and the world during story time, explaining that oil is what we use to power cars, the border is where our country meets another country, and very helpfully educating us that A.I. is very complicated and stands for Artificial Intelligence.

The Supreme Court already has one affirmative action hire who says she can’t define what a woman is (because she’s not a certified biologist).

Yeah, Kamala – last of the renaissance women – will fit in well.

        • hmuller July 21, 2023 at 12:13 pm #

Or were you imagining her as President? Either way she would be in over her head, like all those times Willie Brown’s desk was the mahogany ceiling she bumped her head upon.

            top of things…

    • Amman July 21, 2023 at 10:14 am #

Answer depends I guess on who exactly is “we” and what is meant by “better off.”

    • Uncle Bob July 21, 2023 at 10:36 am #

Ideally, Willy Bown’s former mistress won’t be nominated for any office, so she’ll be gone after 1/20/25. Of course, with the Wokesters’ inherently racist worldview and access to trillions of dollars from people such as Schwab, Soros, Buffett, Zuckerberg, Bezos, Xi, etc., getting rid of these subversives will be exceedingly difficult.

    • Yirgach July 21, 2023 at 12:53 pm #

Yes, indeedy do! The first woman president can NOT be Kackles, it (and I do mean it) will be that ultimate example of affirmative action, Michelle Obama. After appointing Mike as VP, Heels up Harris will leave quietly, stage left and the spotlight will move center stage on Big Mike.

I guess RFK Jr is trying to play the ball where it lies, rather than predict what’s coming and adapt too soon. Or do we think he doesn’t see it coming? Questions I have:
      1. What US states will likely form alliances/smaller country blocs within the former USA?
      2. If RFK doesn’t win the DNC primary nomination, does the US constitution allow for candidates to switch to an independent candidacy?

      • Nathan July 21, 2023 at 9:52 am #

        3. Is that “The Long Emergency” or “Too Much Magic” sitting on the shelf behind Russell Brand? If so, when will Jim chat with Russell?

        • John001 July 21, 2023 at 2:15 pm #

J.H.K. could seek an opportunity to talk to any of the UK’s ex-MSM journalists or presenters turned ‘resistance’. Three examples include: James Delingpole, Neil Oliver, Maajid Nawaz.

He might enlighten them on peak oil and the long emergency. All these people seem energy-blind, to use Nate Hagens’s phrase. Yet they fully ‘get’ the rest of it, i,e, the 2020 top-down global coup, pharma fascism, etc.

      • Uncle Bob July 21, 2023 at 9:59 am #

Parties are separate from government and the Constitution. Therefore, even parties that want to subvert the United States such as the Communists and the Democrats can’t be punished for their activities because of the First Amendment’s protection of free political speech.

        • Amman July 22, 2023 at 1:04 am #

The question of Punishment is for the criminal justice system which is in turn owned by the party…

Say what you want about RFK, jr, the man’s got balls. I’ve known him merely as a clean water advocate for the Connecticut River & LI Sound (which is admirable); turns out he’s a lot more than that.

        • Nathan July 21, 2023 at 10:16 am #

I wish him all the best, I just think things are about to become a whole lot more externally manipulated than his campaign focus in draining the domestic swamp. RFJ Jr seems to be a fairly admirable man and certainly presents as an entirely suitable candidate for your top job. If the top job is still there next November.

          • Nigel Tufnel July 21, 2023 at 1:21 pm #

          • Nathan July 22, 2023 at 10:26 am #

Yes, a “fairly” admirable man. *If* he is like most professing Catholic Democrats in office, then he would be in support of abortion. I don’t find that admirable. I don’t know if his Christian profession is genuine. So I think some caution is warranted.

        • Beryl of Oyl July 21, 2023 at 10:41 am #

Yes, his work with Riverkeeper really leant that organization some clout.

Contrast that with the other Kennedys who, if they don’t go into public office. tend to form a redundant charity with the main purpose of paying themselves the kind of salary their skills would never merit in private industry.

That doesn’t stop them from lining up to bash the only Kennedy who has actually made something of himself through hard work, over the phony JOO issie.

        • Islander July 21, 2023 at 11:25 am #

          Yep, balls with brains.

Or, make that brains with balls.

        • Jarek July 21, 2023 at 11:47 am #

Yeah Ber, the group that controls media, banking, and foreign policy can’t be talked about, but it’s a “phony issue”.

Face it, people like you are a big part of the problem.

They don’t like to be talked about – except occasionally, in the most glowing of terms. So we’re faced with an existential choice: Do we succumb to this gag order and sacrifice our future?

It’s a no brainer for most: Yeah, keep mum. It’s the “moral” thing to do!

          • Beryl of Oyl July 21, 2023 at 12:28 pm #

Jarek, the phony issue is that RFK Jr. DID NOT SAY what they said he did.

          • Jarek July 21, 2023 at 1:04 pm #

Yes, he did. We already showed you that. And yes, he said “possibly” giving himself room to backtrack, which he did.

My question: Why is speaking about the Jews verboten? No, I know why. The real question is why do we accept the ban?

He said Ashkenazi and Chinese. You adroitly switched to only talking about the Chinese. The old Neo-Con trick. Shame on you for ducking the existential question.

          • Beryl of Oyl July 21, 2023 at 1:37 pm #

Jarek no you didn’t show me. The claim was that he said the Jews were spared, and the implication was that the Jews were behind it.

He did not say that or anything like that.

          • Jarek July 21, 2023 at 2:14 pm #

He said that the disease was “possibly” geared to go easier on Ashkenazi Jews AND Chinese.

Now you are ignoring the Chinese because I made a point of how you previously ignored the Jews. So utterly convoluted. So reactionary. So feminine.

          • Beryl of Oyl July 21, 2023 at 2:19 pm #

No Jarek he didn’t say that either.

        • Mick July 21, 2023 at 12:59 pm #

Apparently both you and Jim have forgotten, or perhaps didn’t know that RFK, Jr has called for people who deny anthropomorphic climate change to be put in prison.

I do believe that the climate is changing catastrophically. I don’t know exactly why, but I would never call for people who disagree to be put in prison.

But, he has absolutely no chance of ever becoming president. No matter how much money Jim raises for him. Lol…

          • Jarek July 21, 2023 at 1:06 pm #

The Sun is angry with us. Why? No sacrifices. That can be remedied. Thus the Church is bringing back the old gods, gods who can deliver what is needed.

          • Beryl of Oyl July 21, 2023 at 1:43 pm #

Some people took it that he was talking about throwing polluters in prison.

He seems to mix up the carbon scam with the air pollution issue, so it’s his own fault if people get confused.

anyway, his most recent statement is that climate has been used as an excuse for totalitarianism, as covid has been, and we need to allow the free market to find solutions.

            Whatever that means.

Find me a candidate who knows thay climate and covid are both scams, and will say so, and will do something about it.

          • U R IntheVillage July 21, 2023 at 2:36 pm #

            Mick: Bullshit. Provide the reference.

          • tuco22 July 21, 2023 at 2:42 pm #

The climate is changing because the earth is dead. It died at the Fall. It’s just so huge that it took this long for the resultant changes to catch up with us.

          • Beryl of Oyl July 21, 2023 at 3:10 pm #

UR, here is an interview where RFK addresses that clip everyone has been talking about (God he is hard to listen to):

He didn’t come out and call for throwing climate deniers in jail. What he did say, and he insists on giving the context, isn’t a whole lot better. He’s weak on the issue.

I like what he says when the second questioner brings up covid. It shows, as mentioned above, that he can think on his feet. It also shows that he can learn, and admit where he could have done better.

RFK Jr. wanted to prosecute ‘climate deniers.’ Has he changed?

“They should be enjoying three hots and a cot at The Hague,” Robert Kennedy Jr. said of the Koch brothers in 2014. Does he still want to imprison opponents of his environmental views?

Watch the full replay of Kennedy’s interview with ReasonTV’s Nick Gillespie and Zach Weissmueller

          • WadeWaters July 21, 2023 at 3:15 pm #

What makes you believe the climate is changing

catastrophically? Bogus media report?. Studies that are data

and conclusion selective? I mean, I know the weather in Texas

can really suck, but is it that different than 10, 20, or 30 years

          • Yirgach July 21, 2023 at 3:30 pm #

” I do believe that the climate is changing catastrophically”

Why is that? The climate has been changing for the last 4 billion years over which it was much colder and hotter, the CO2 was much higher and lower, and notice that we weren’t around driving our suvs and private jets for most of that 4 billion years.

There is an enormous amount of disinformation flying around about “climate change” . For starters check out wattsupwiththat.com/failed-prediction-timeline.

Remember in the ’70’s it was “Global Cooling”, that didn’t happen, so they changed it to “Global Warming” that didn’t happen, so now we have “Climate Change”. Can’t lose.

BRICS is a small part of the coilition forming against the US and Europe. The end of Anglo-American world leadership is quickly coming to an end. The joke that is the WEF dies with America. The saddest part will be the realization that Britain, since the U.S. took over after WW2, will join the BRICS coilition down the road.

        BRICS is now BRICS ++.

Wow, Scandinavia has joined NATO!!! Just as the Middle East and the rest of OPECis joining the BRICS crowd. I am not impressed. Turkey and Hungary are both having a tough time trying to decide who is going to win here. I wonder if Vegas is displaying the odds on the winner.

The stupidity of the West is really showing now. Just put Biden and Macron in charge, and the fate of the Blob and the rest of Europe is obvious.

Just think, the balance of world power depends on Ukraine and its current comedian of a president.

Looking at the events of the past several weeks in France, I had to wonder — if a full scale war broke out in Europe, would the immigrants in France and Germany fight or sit on the side lines? I would have to think both Russia and China look at all the diversity in these countries and ours and see a divided people.

I watched a long clip on RFK, Jr.’s testimony and the IRS whistleblower’s too — what a peevish, angry bunch of self-righteous of “public servants” (cue the laugh track) these people are. And why is that attack dog Stacey Plaskett allowed on ANY committee? She’s a delegate from the Virgin Islands and she gets to vote?!

          • Beryl of Oyl July 21, 2023 at 10:42 am #

Peevish is a good word choice. They show up pre-angry for these things.

Well, the Democrats have to do *something* with her. Besides, they’re mostly just like her now: self-righteous, angry, hating their country, mentally ill, and vindictive. Oh, so very vindictive. Several of them have guzzled so much PLO Kool-Aid, in fact, that they walked out of an address by Israel’s President Herzog earlier this week — but they then turn around and call pro-Israel Americans anti semites.

The MIC has used Russia, Russia, Russia as their rallying call for seventy years. Number one on their propaganda list is that Russia will re-establish the USSR and roll over Eastern Europe.

Ask yourself, why would they do that? They are currently successfully recovering from the 1991 debacle that sent Russia spinning out of control. Why would they take on again the fiscal deadbeats they jettisoned in 1991. Ukraine is self defense, thanks to the Biden Mob. Putin has allowed a total takeover of Eastern Europe by NATO, why would he want these countries back?

I don’t think he does want any of the Eastern European countries back. From what I have understood, he took a stand on Ukraine joining NATO and completely encircling Russia. I don’t think Europe wants a war either — why would they? — I was wondering out loud if all the immigrants from Syria, Iraq, etc would actually line up to fight if this devolves into a world war.

After the Wall fell, Russia said Ok, but not one more foot. The West agreed, but they were lying. Poland should have been a buffer state, but Poland has always looked to the West, and wanted in. Ok, so Ukraine became the buffer. Russia has a real and historical stake there. NATO decided to take Ukraine years ago. So it’s game on.

At one point, perhaps just to see what he would say, Putin asked if Russia could join NATO. Clinton didn’t even deign to answer and just laughed in his face.

        • PeteAtomic July 21, 2023 at 11:58 am #

          Yup, good points John.

“The stupidity of the West is really showing now. Just put Biden and Macron in charge, and the fate of the Blob and the rest of Europe is obvious.

Just think, the balance of world power depends on Ukraine and its current comedian of a president.”

Ukraine has depended on a propaganda war, or “media war” for the last 1 1/2 years, run by a CIA friendly (or outright owned) mainstream media.

What does a “media war” mean? It means a war based on lies, completely. It means fake battles, fake victories, fake casualty numbers, fake everything.

We’ve started to see the reality of the situation in the past few months. Ukraine is out of everything. It is running out of small arms ammunition, spare parts for its vehicles, anti-aircraft systems, manpower, fuel, artillery, artillery ammunition, and vehicles of all types.

So, the end isn’t here for Ukraine, but the beginning of the end, is.

The Spring/Summer counteroffensive is a disaster. Ukraine has conservatively lost at least 30% of the Western vehicles it has been given and is out of artillery ammunition. It is attacking without air support. It is suffering grievous, irreplaceable infantry losses.

How long can Ukraine keep this up? Maybe another 6 months? Maybe less.

My prediction is a battlefield collapse, reminiscent of Operation Bagration in 1944.

Russian forces will open up massive holes in the Ukrainian lines, and the situation will become very desperate, as Ukraine throws in whatever it may have at hand, like their stay behind police units (which are in place to monitor for deserters).

Ukraine will become a rump state, cut off from the Black Sea, and wholly dependent on the EU for survival.

For the Russian Federation, this strategy would be the best solution: Give Europe a largely unproductive part of Ukraine, festering with Nazis.

That’s normally how things fall apart for evil rulers. It makes absolutely no difference what we do at the ballot box. They’ve got that all cornered. They don’t even have to kill another Kennedy, the other two sufficed. Since they have the bullhorn, consolidated during Clinton the Bill’s reign with the Telecommunications Act of 1996, they can claim with complete plausibility that Dominion’s choice was really what most Americans wanted. So what if they didn’t show up at his rallies?
Lobaczewski explained it’s always sheer incompetence that brings them down as they pat each other on the back. That doesn’t mean that Americans are not in for a really miserable time for quite a while, however. We get to see up close in Technicolor what evil really looks like.

There might be enough evidence to mount an impeachment, but I doubt there’s the will. There are just too many people, both in government and our country at large, who benefit from the “Joe Biden” presidency to ever allow something to get rid of him, no matter how incompetent or nonfunctional he becomes. Most who voted for him the first time will definitely vote for him the next time, especially with Trump running. And I don’t think anybody wants Harris at the helm. So there it is.

More than that. The fiscal connections between the WEF with the Blob and the government protected open border with its cash producing illicit trades are keeping the world of the dollar afloat. As long as the Blob controls the country, and oh yes it does, the border will stand open.

Trump wanted to close down their little game. He will be destroyed by the Blob, eventually, as they cannot and will not be allowed to have enough power to close the border, the WEF’s lifeline. Electing Trump will not change things, it will take a Tea Party total control of DC to even start the process. GOP + Dem, DC level equals the Blob, the Deep State.

I do not see even one of the GOP, except Ramaswamy maybe that is standing against the Deep State. Most of them have been a part of it and it owns them.

Third Party? RFK Jr? Manchin? Sinema? Trump? The only hope, as in 1856.

The Blob! There are Blobs on other planets. I’m serious!

Way back in ’59 we sent a secret team of astronauts to visit mars. They ventured out in a raft on a huge lake and were traveling towards a red city on an island way back in the distance. It featured skyscrapers that towered up into the skies, into the clouds. But terror suddenly ruined their plans. A Blob had detected their presence and it rose up out of the sea like leviathan. The Blob chased them back to the lakeshore to their rocket ship. Before they could close the main hatch the Blob managed to grab one astronaut and yanked him out just before the door closed. You could see the poor fellow slowly drifting and dissolving inside the semi-transparent Blob. Then there are only 3 astronauts left and they’ve had enough of the angry red planet and it’s time to leave the Blob behind.

Buchanan obeyed the constitution. Lincoln did not.

Lincoln’s actions in the 1860’s paved the way for the BLOB and Biden who afflict us today.

Think more deeply next time before you open your big mouth.

          • JohnAZ July 21, 2023 at 2:27 pm #

Dust off your history book, Wiz.

When the South seceded, the Constitution became North only, the South rejected it.

Like today, the populace became a menace to the rule of law, so Lincoln suspended habeas corpus as a protective measure, temporarily. Chaos would have occurred if he hadn’t.

I agree that his actions to stop the divisions then did unionize the states and grew the federal government. However, that effort has been spurred on by the Deep State mentality by both parties for 150 years. Government is evil and unless curtailed, the evil of power will grow.

Buchanan was a bum, provided little leadership at a time when it was paramount to stop the division of the states.

BTW, the loser was John C. Fremont in 1856. Big time Westerner. His supporters along with the failures of Buchanan paved the way for the Lincoln win in 1860.

Does that sound familiar, by any chance? IMHO, we are ripe for a party split right now.

My big mouth is done. Yours is next.

Silent Cals son lived right in the village here and I spoke with him a few times, a distinguished old guy who would dress formally when he left his house for the market or post office etc. Silent Cal himself spent quite a bit of time here after he left the Presidency for the few years he had remaining. Old timers here would tell stories about him. He seems to have been a humble, unprepossessing man. One story is early Broadway & Hollywood producer Winchell Smith was also a neighbor; he’d come back here after he retired from showbiz and bought & restored a 17th century flour mill. He actually went into business grinding up wheat & shipping the product up & down the east coast. It seems like it was more of a hobby than a serious businessman but he invested a lot of money in the project. Anyway, Cal and Winchell became friends and Cal would often walk over & lend a hand at the mill, dressed in his 1920s suit. Alas, the project failed when the RR reached North Dakota & wheat shipped out of there became plentiful & cheap.

Despite western media’s practice of “Accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative” it looks like the actual situation in Ukraine can no longer be covered up: the ‘Spring Counteroffensive’ is a disaster. Who really believed that the Russian Army could be dislodged from Crimea & the Donbas, anyway? CNN headline: “Ukraine destroys 5 Russian missiles”. But then you read the full article & learn 50 missiles got thru. The City of Odessa is being destroyed as I type this. We read Ukraine is running out of armaments, then we hear rumors of weaponry provided to Ukraine is turning up at hotspots all over the world, including Mexico. Biden committed another $1 billion to Kiev this week, which brings the total to over $150 billion; where’d all the money go, Joe?

The real deal though is the MIC and it’s affiliate, the US main stream media. The cherry picking is unbelievable about Ukraine. Even the “generals of Fox” have their heads up their asses.

I really wonder what is going to bring down the Leftist House of Cards in this country.

        If it is possible.

It is criminal that in this country, the patriotic half is rooting against the perceived. Number one enemy, the Deep State and the WEF, and for the decades long “enemies” of the USA. How corrupted this government has become.

        • SpeedyBB July 21, 2023 at 10:13 pm #

I suspect that it boils down to the fact that many Americans either do not travel, or if they do they are not ‘traveling’ in their heads: all perceived is filtered through a mental framework set in steel.

Look at the detestable but fortunately extinct Steve Jobs. After all that travel to India and hob-nobbing with gurus and saints (reportedly anyway) he turns into the most repellant kind of user and greedy baron. Or rather, the underpinnings for that were always there and were unaffected by any experience or impression he received along the way, even as he was able to add Oriental polish to his résumé.

Having had dealings with such worthies as entitled assholes Gary Snyder, Charles Henri Ford, Winston Leyland and Spalding Gray (the last member not so much an asshole as simply culturally blinkered beyond salvation) I have been impressed by their very Imperial Roman attitude to the lesser races.

We were raised that way. Dad was in SAC: ‘Peace is our Profession.’ I was lucky to have been brought up in places like Occupied Germany, Japan and Spain, where I learned to attune myself to a markedly different appreciation of reality (eventually alienating myself from the East Texas milieu I had pooped into in 1940).

As the USA falls apart like a wet cardboard box it will be fearfully stressful to the brainwashed masses traveling or moving abroad – particularly when their funny-money dollars stop talking.

Back home of course the media will have a ready unguent for the wounded psyches: the rest of the planet is too dumb and ungrateful to appreciate the powerful benevolence of Uncle.

      • BackRowHeckler July 21, 2023 at 10:22 am #

Tuco I suspect it will be similar to the disaster in Afghanistan: a story for about a week when it happens, then ignored. That will die down too, and Z will maintain a low profile as he lives a life of luxury amongst International Arms dealers, Cartel honchos, Mob Captains, big Dem billionaires, & narcotics smugglers “On the Beach.”

This is factual. Bankman-Fried was already a busy little DNC beaver in Ukraine as soon as Biden was… Perhaps even before as the evidence of Obama corruption there becomes available.
Obama’s top diplomatic guy there Adam Hochstein resigned from the Obama administration and took a job with Burisma along with CIA exxie Cofer Black, joining the already anointed-by-Biden-extortion, Hunter B.
Pelosi’s scion kid, Kerry’s stepkid, even Mitt’s kid, it was a quickie repeat of how high-up US government employees stiffed Russia back in the early 90s, a story that has been a stellar example of how U.S. citizens don’t get their news. On purpose.

And oh does it work as “Russia! Russia! Russia!” remains the Dems’ cheer. A Bill & Hillary hummer (no, not that kind,) going back to the Uranium One deal goes “…after you took from him everything, you could steeeaaal….” And that was far from the first. They already had the ‘Foundation’ and ‘Initiative’ by then stoking their philanthro-capitalism.

The Fibbies had this evidence going way back, as in 2018, back even when Trump was getting hysterically roasted and even twice impeached. They had solid evidence that Joe—even called ‘the Big Guy” by Burisma head Zylochevsky—was extorting Burisma to get $10 million + Hunter’s monthly stipend.
Zylochevsky had to hire an extra board member to make up for Hunter’s incompetence, someone he described as “stupider than my dog” in the FBI report of 2020. He also has some 19 very telling, stealthily recorded conversations with Hunter, and several with the “Big Guy.” Again: the FBI has known since before the election that broke the Republic’s back—again.
Several Ukrainian whistleblowers besides had opened up in 2016 about their brand of nefariousness after Joe bragged “So they fired the sonofabitch.”
Sen Grassley released that unclassified FBI report yesterday.

@ Dave — if there was any intention of prosecuting either of the Biden’s or the kids of the powerful, they already have all the evidence they need. But it will never happen just like a documentary on the Russia-Trump hoax on PBS (or a Ken Burns special) will never happen.

@SW. Under this form of free-for-all end times (“Partay like there’s no tomorrow, spend $$ the same way) government, I agree.
Nothing is moving forward to hold anybody to account. It’s like “woke” (Big Brother)says “Feelings might get hurt if the Biden’s are prosecuted, let alone impeached. Potential ageism, middle age wastrel youthful indiscretions owwees, the possibility of Hunter getting erectile dysfunction is a distinct possibility as dysfunction already runs in the Biden “Take your daughter to work, but only after showing her the ropes in the shower!” family.
They would have us believe this is normal human behavior. Traditional even.

The US public has been saturated with official depravity from the Democrats since the Clinton presidency ran “Open for business—Monkey business too!” up the White House flagpole. Discretion? Fugeddaboudit! Degeneracy was to become the Dem-endorsed way of life in D.C. in the new “Don’t Stop,Thinking About Tomorrow” normal. Up until the Clinton circus came to town, many of their eyebrow-raising actions were not only unacceptable, but considered quite reprehensible in the White House as a minimal national standard for presidencies.

Why I can’t breathe for seeing where we are heading as a nation, hell, we’re so close to arrival at our final destination in so many facets of society.
People are finally going to notice when the economy goes T.U. in the coming crash in the West because it’s one thing when it’s only a country or two that goes off the rails, but when it’s an entire former majority trade bloc that has earned zero sympathy with the rest of the world, I not only see a bad moon rising, I see ‘interesting’ times ahead along with a heap of dread.
The fact is the majority of the West is already bankrupt or will be there shortly.
No more “It can’t happen here” after the first couple of years of deprivation and CBDC Spy World. Things are going to break and a nation some overall $200 trillion in debt is not about to elicit much sympathy from the world it chose to exploit and whip with its tenure in possession of the world’s sole reserve currency.
And certain things that break are going to stay broken for a long, long time. Take supply chains and “just in time” deliveries. We just got a glimpse of our future, folks. There’s nobody riding to our rescue either.
We’ve been done-in by elitist institutionalized conceit. I do hope our $ billionaires will be OK. Because they more than anyone will “feel our pain,” ain’t that right, Bill Clinton? Show me that cute lil’ lip bite thang agin’ when you say those sweet-nothings, Mr Bill, please.
And maybe have the missus do that Gadaffi death-cackle for old time’s sake.

Just like the open border is likely from bribes by the cartels to the Biden’s in the 10’s of millions of $, since China/cartel Joe does nothing unless paid for it. The Biden’s may be among the richest family in the U.S., but they have too much cover from our corrupted FBI, CIA, IRS, and State Department. I enjoy watching Jim rise to the challenge – perhaps his last great effort – using gifted abilities to force former fellow political allies to confront the hard reality of what the war party has created. (Recall his travel essay about the funeral and interaction with classic liberal Jewish family members – now scale that to 10s of millions.)

That’s an awesome use of talent to speak to those who still might yet believe in some kind of redemption arc. The problem is, we in the USA have two different audiences: some who still yet might believe in some kind of restoratoin, and those of us who know the gig is up and are watching and preparing.

Let’s assume Bobby Jr is elecrted in a historical landslide, winning both chambers and claiming an undeniable mandate. OK, then what? Does he fire/arrest literally thousands of traitors in the miltary, IC, state, health and so on? OK, then what?

How does that change the fundamental facts on the ground that Russia now possess the greatest land army on earth? That all other branches – space, air and navy – are now essentially obsolete in terms of technical threats and defensible capabilities, leaving traditional land based control as the sole aribiter of present military outcomes.

Taking this into consideration, how then does that reality impact the fact that this same Russian army now has the ability to control the last great stores of earth’s natural resources, and thus forms the ultimate bank of real wealth to back international trade and currencies?

Now, coming back to the USA, how does a vaunted multi-culture respond and rally to such challenges? Or, does it finally demonstrate the intentional destruction of a unified polity as the true, below the water line kill shot?

And if all the above comes to pass, as it surely will because at the end of the day it’s all just boring old physics, how does one play it?

    • Nathan July 21, 2023 at 10:42 am #

Exactly! Tales from Inside the Collapse, episode 3043 is entertaining, but there are epic world power shifts occurring right now. I think Russia and China are planning the economic disarming very very carefully because who wants to tackle head-on an insane person who has a loaded gun?

Will US hegemony fade quietly into the night or start gnashing the teeth, frothing at the mouth and bustin’ caps every which way before it’s contained?

    • SW July 21, 2023 at 10:43 am #

      I predict:

RFK, Jr. will have a solid following by 2024 and will announce the formation of a third party. The Democrats will never support him as he’s a class traitor and they have long, bitter memories. The Democrats have no choice but to renominate Biden to avoid a televised debate among candidates that they want silenced.

Kamala will be replaced on the ticket by pharmaceutical rep, Gavin Newsome and Joe will either really die or resign before the election. One thing all Democrats seem to agree on is Kamala needs to be paid off and go away.

But no matter who is President, he won’t be able to stop the Long Emergency.

      • observex July 21, 2023 at 11:12 am #

The most plausible Kamala payoff would be to put her on the Supreme Court. That is one role that, for some people, is more prestigious than any save President. Howard Taft was on the Court after the Presidency.

What a horrible thought. Can’t they just make her mayor of San Francisco instead?

          • Not_GeorgeT July 21, 2023 at 11:51 am #

I’m still waiting for her to be ‘Agnewed’. There has to be bucket-loads of dirt with her name on them in CA.

Willie told her not to take the job, certainly he is one skilled at surviving. She ignored his apparent intimate knowledge of her and her capabilities which likely influenced his advice to her.

It remains to play out, I’m so far figuring Willie could imagine how it could go.

          • hmuller July 21, 2023 at 11:58 am #

Now there’s an image. A drunken, insane, cackling Kamala, (safe in her bunker) ruling over a post apocalyptic San Francisco covered in homeless tents and human feces.

We haven’t seen anything like it since Hitler’s final days in the bunker.

I read where 47% of Dems are now open to a 3rd party. For Republicans, it’s probably 90%, so this may be an election where an outsider has a legitimate shot (notwithstanding Dominion brogrammers).

There’s no way that the Dem leaders will allow RFK to take the nomination, so this may be one of the more interesting elections in a very long time. Trump/RFK, while extremely implausible, would make for an overwhelming combination.

        • hmuller July 21, 2023 at 4:30 pm #

I think Trump should squash all those unfounded rumors of having a big ego by running as Kennedy’s VP. Those two leading a new party might be a welcome dose of hope.

Sound like we’re talkin’ PURGE here!!
Same problem in Germany post-WW2. how to run the place?

A workaround: Make every federal civil servant and employee or appointee of the Executive Branch (which includes a hell of a lot of people, including the US military) and federal government swear an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of the United State. Basically a version of the presidential oath of office. And challenge every state governor to do the same and mandate the same for state employees.

Make the state chief executives show their true colors.

All of these people are paid by the taxpayers. They need to be reminded of who is boss.

Economics is war. And actual war is an extension of economics/politics by other means.

The Anglo-Zionists know this. They didn’t get rich by playing nice. Fascist Russia knows it too. So does National Socialist China.

Eurasia and East Asia are allied against a utterly degenerate, insane Oceania. The latter can’t win, but it can destroy the world.

Btw, shame on you for thinking things can never be better for ordinary people. As if the Magna Carta never happened. You’re almost Chestertonian in your medievalism.

Double down with China as Russia’s steadfast ally. Their survival is buttressed by their unity of existential proportions. The CIA telegraphed the West’s ultimate intentions when they fomented (with Saudi Arabia) the Chechen Wars of the 1990s and the Uyghur uprisings/terror attacks of the earlier 2000s.

As much as we love to root for our team, “no impeachment,” to me says there’s too much dirt among the would be presiders over this to risk exposure. Isn’t Chuck Schumer leading the senate?

I want it to happen, but I don’t think it will.

As to the democrats election dilemma… there is a center, and RFK represents that center. If he isn’t on the ballot, my vote goes to Trump.

Disclaimer – I know, AS IF voting mattered.

I understand. Seems like a heck of a lot of responsibility, on the one hand, and on the other it seems pointless. I struggle as well.

I’ve reckoned that its really the only thing we CAN do.

        What else is there?

Besides, the act of not voting, which we would want to be seen as a protest of sorts, won’t actually be seen at all. Apathy runs as a close finisher every election, but always loses.

        • JohnAZ July 21, 2023 at 10:24 am #

The act of not voting is a protest?

I do not think so, the act of voting against is a protest.

Not voting is insanity at times like now. It is theRight giving up that is allowing the Left to take over everything, including the voting booth.

I had never heard Kissinger speak until I heard a PSA he did, many years ago. It shocked me to hear it said with that thick German accent.

“Ve don’t care who you vote for. Ve only care that you vote”.

That is when I decided that voting was only encouraging them.
          But I did it anyway.
I’m not going to do it any more.

          • Beryl of Oyl July 21, 2023 at 10:47 am #

It’s funny how Kissinger held on to that accent so long, even as we started hearing Germans in Germany starting to speak unaccented English.

          • Islander July 21, 2023 at 11:50 am #

I have heard very few Germans speaking unaccented English.

Many people can speak perfect English, lexically and grammatically, but zey cannot acquire ze accent.

Many English sounds are quite difficult to form, such as “th.”

Also, the distinction between voiced and unvoiced consonants is a challenge to Germans, especially voiced consonants at the ends of words. This is one of the giveaways with people who have mastered “th.”

          • Jarek July 21, 2023 at 12:03 pm #

The article by the Forward (formerly the Jewish Forward) says that Kissinger’s brother has no accent at all.

Is he faking it? Or did he keep by some ultimate act of the Vill or Vril? Did he want to “other” himself, despising Americans as he does; to stay “in tune” with the aristocratic traditions of old Europe?

I’ve never looked at another presidential election the same.

I’ve never considered not voting – until now. If somehow the Republican nominee was Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, or the like, I will not vote for any of them. I would write in DJT, whether he’s dead or alive, incarcerated, or dropped out of the race.

For many, many years, long after he had passed, I wrote in George Wallace’s name for president. My only reason in doing so was the heartwarming feeling that overtook me at the thought of some progressive League of Woman Voters type tallying the votes and having a stroke while trying to imagine the type of toothless Neanderthal that would do such a thing.

The questions aren’t all that hard hitting (I’m not all the way through the 31 minutes), but there are no interruptions and RFK is given ample opportunity to speak and articulate his views. And this is so important. He should not be muzzled just because the dems are pissed he’s running. He is a viable, serious candidate, whom I agree with on some things and I disagree with on others.

Whooooa! That TDS is strong with this one. Wonder if ATZ mis-clicked and though he was in his fave communist antifa chat room. JHK’s writings are so far beyond the “our side vs your side” paradigm that you’re expousing, the earthquake you’re currently feeling is the hundreds of eyerolls happening simultaneously as CFN’ers are reading your sophomoric TDS drivel.

My advice: go back to your leftist, tranny-worshipping, BLM-seduced, censorship-loving, death vax-promoting, feminist safe space and remain deluded. When the Long Emergency initiates, don’t come knocking on my bunker door asking for a handout. Im sure your TDS will keep you warm and fed :-).

    • DaveO907 July 21, 2023 at 4:10 pm #

I commend you forthwith. A classic case of TDS, nicely presented. But… that dog won’t hunt no more.

I’m no fan of Trump as a person, and his war-monger appointments had me shaking my head, but he did not fall for the uniparty mantra of “Moar War!” beyond his Syria silliness—that grand exhibition of Russian air defense superiority vs Tomahawk missiles.

The exploits of smarmy Jared and begins with an ‘I’ what’s her name bring me no joy either. But with a legal system so biased against, and supremely antithetical to conservatism of seemingly all stripes, especially those in the Southern District of New York and the D.C. environs, are you kidding me?
Where’s the money? Show me a case made that has been adjudicated successfully, let alone brought. Even as I take zero pleasure in defending these people.
Chelsea Clinton married into the same family operating legal principles as did Trump’s daughter, two ex-con fathers-in-law; where is your ire for her extended family with its formerly-jailed father?

Where were Bill and Hillary’s protective embraces when their daughter wanted to marry into a financial fraudster family?
According to the Law, and the public record, during Trump’s reign the Kushners played within the Establishment rules, and though we like it or not, that is the ultimate defining paradigm in U.S. American civil society, especially if the desired outcome is opprobrium and condemnatory in nature. The buck stops there, whether we think they got away with something or not.
That said, I don’t like the antecedent administration and now this one for further persecuting Julian Assange due to choices made in deference to the American Empire. So yeah, both parties suck in their ideological servitude to actual fistic Power.

I conclude you are really missing the big picture. The existential one. By not looking. In fact you are condoning the severe and grotesque moral depravity of what the Democrats have become, conflating their current actions with the puny in relative scale by resorting to “Whataboutism.”

It’s all bad, but you are only making it worse in your denial. I have little anger left in me, but that has only opened the door to the profound sadness replacing it when I see far too many comments like yours. Such is the human condition. So goes the Republic.
Yet Diogenes lives on in many of your fellow citizens. Stock up on lamp oil, fellow countrymen. Because we’re gonna need a shit-ton of it.

I submit that RFK Jr. is just finding out what he is up against.

A while back I said that I thought he was somewhat naive. Someone just yesterday used that same descriptor when we were talking about the ridiculous anti-semitism charge they were throwing out against him.

I know he knew the Democrats had gotten bad, but listening to that stupid, stupid woman attacking his right to free speech as if it were something Republicans were trying to pull (against whom?) he must be having to reconsider some of his previous views in a hurry.

    • Alfred July 21, 2023 at 10:22 am #

      I disagree.

Even though Trump was treated very badly and has every reason to want revenge and justice, running again for President should not happen. Even if elected it would be four more years of drama and our country needs someone who will put their personal grievances last and the good of the country first. This isn’t Trump.

Ramaswami is the GOP’s Obama. A totem. A Sunak.

          • C.O.Jones July 22, 2023 at 2:37 pm #

Edge Lord – he’s doing it on purpose. I have been accused of TDS in this very forum and I voted for the man twice.

If a court in a state you no longer lived in “indicted” you on charges for which the statute of limitations had long expired, would you give them the finger and laugh? Or would you rush to the nearest camera and claim you were the victim of a witch hunt before surrendering to cops while the cameras roll?

I’m not denying that Trump was the victim of a deep-state initiated witch hunt – Russian collusion. I’m asking why he appoint a deep-state attorney general to investigate the origins of the witch hunt?

Q: How can you employ an attorney general – Barr – who appointed an “investigator” – Durham – to spend millions running out the clock and find bupkis?
            A: Because you’re a distraction.

I have no doubt Trump encouraged the FBI to go thru Melania’s underwear drawer. Makes a great headline and great distraction.

            This is not TDS.

Trump appointed one deep-state swamp rat after another and when they betrayed him, he ran to the nearest camera, cried foul and appointed another deep-state swamp rat to do the same thing. He is serving as a distraction and he is fooling a lot of people.

How can those people think that if he was re-elected anything would be different? Because he really means it this time? That would imply he was only kidding about MAGA the first time. If he managed to get re-elected, he would be impeached immediately and spend all his time posting social media messages about how great the economy is.

He does NOT mean well. His death shot and lockdown are prosecutable. He would rather be prosecuted than ignored.

        • Alfred July 21, 2023 at 11:16 am #

          Yes, I do.

I think RFK would more effective at draining the swamp and restoring sanity to our national discourse.

But if RFK isn’t on the ballot, Trump gets my vote – assuming that he’s on the ballot. If neither is on the ballot. I’m staying home.

          • Beryl of Oyl July 21, 2023 at 11:25 am #

RFK seemed to believe he could selectively remove some of the bad guys at some of these corrupt agencies.

“RFK seemed to believe he could selectively remove some of the bad guys at some of these corrupt agencies.”

What is the basis for this statement?

          • Beryl of Oyl July 22, 2023 at 12:24 pm #

Islander, the basis is him using the term “laser focus”. That’s what I took it to mean.

He could have meant something else by it, of course. I don’t have him here to ask him.

That’s why I used the word “seemed”.

    • Frank Buttitch July 21, 2023 at 10:56 am #

RFK Jr. knows exactly what he is up against.
He is up against the same forces that murdered his father and his uncle. He is daring them to do the same to himself.

      • Beryl of Oyl July 21, 2023 at 11:05 am #

He knew that, but I believe he is just finding out how bad the media and the legislative, executive, and judicial branches, as well as the Democrats and Republicans really are.

Before he sounded the alarm on the mendacious practices of pharmaceutical companies in regard to vaccines, he was a much admired advocate for the environment. He’s proven he can withstand the abrupt loss of status with the press and how deadly their attacks can be but he’s experiencing a whole new level of warfare.

          • jgalt July 21, 2023 at 12:33 pm #

The Pharmaceutical Industry owns the Demoncrap Party lock, stock, and barrel. They not only pay them many millions in campaign funds, but also pay most of the FDA and CDC budgets. Up until about 10, or less, years ago the drug pushers could not advertise on TV, and now they are literally on every program multiple times. They also furnish stipends to doctors and pay them to appear at medical conferences where their mostly cutie females push their products. Drug companies are as corrupt as any politician and spread their wealth far and wide for control. Our FDA and CDC do not represent the consumer, as they are bought and paid for. As much as I love this country, we have been taken down to the level of Rome when its glory came to an abrupt end. The second amendment is the only difference that can forestall what is here and now.

People who think, and talk, in paragraphs, effortlessly.

Facts and figures off the top of their head, deep insights, broad vision, and the ability to express all of that smoothly and understandably.

And on top of all that, a president needs one other thing: PASSIONATE love of his country. (Is that too damn much to ask?)

Putin and RFK, Jr., fit the bill.

They tried to censor RFK, Jr. from speaking, at the hearing on censorship.

    They have no shame.
    NPR didn’t mention it today.

I forget where I got this, or if I posted it already. It’s two months old, but still informative.

And I think that Dave posted Aaron Mate’s interview of a Ukrainian whistleblower.

    • justanotherguy July 21, 2023 at 11:00 am #

paula, the durham effort was never anything more than an effort to run out the clock, a limited hangout, a complex distraction for anyone naive enough to still believe in a just system of law.

it was intended to do nothing, while appealing to patriots with some hope. hope is the bait.

we can now easily learn when a fast one is going to be pulled, when it appears the system is savable.

the simple test is: “does this (news, investigation, hearing, event) give us hope?” if so, it is another football, held by Lucy, waiting for the ever earnest Charlie Brown, us, to waste another hopeful sprint, while nothing for us changes, and the blob continues to drag us all downstream to brave new 1984.

      • Paula D July 21, 2023 at 12:01 pm #

Yes, I just thought the article was a good explanation of how they do it. Not just giving false hope, but covering up their crimes internally.
There aren’t that many truly evil people, so they have to set up the system so that regular people don’t know what’s going on, even when they work in the system. The silo concept. Only the people at the top know what’s going on.

And then they also do the “We can’t talk about that because of the ongoing investigation”, which lasts for years, until people forget about the outrages.

They did that with 9-11,when they refused to release any official information, because “There is an ongoing trial of Zacarias Moussaoui, so we can’t release information, because that would somehow interfere with his trial”. (I paraphrase.)

As if they care about a fair trial!!!!

        • SW July 21, 2023 at 4:21 pm #

@Paula — The official investigation into 9/11 was put off as the WH “negotiated” terms for the President to testify. Remember that? Bush demanded Cheney be with him and after his testimony said — “it wasn’t that bad.” The families of the 9/11 victims had to fight to get a hearing. This system of cover-up and the excuse of “ongoing investigation” keeps the wheels turning and the people who participate in it, in their jobs.

          • Paula D July 21, 2023 at 5:09 pm #

Yes, I remember. It took about 19 months for the families to get an investigation, and then they put in one of the chief suspects to run it.

            Mind-blowingly corrupt and evil.

And yeah, Bush needed his puppet master with him, although I don’t know why, since the whole thing was kept secret and behind closed doors.

They got away with 9-11 at the SAME time they were using it to destroy liberty and the Bill of Rights at home, and the lives of millions of people in other countries.

No wonder they think they’re invincible.

          • Ron Anselmo July 22, 2023 at 12:14 am #

“They got away with 9-11 at the SAME time they were using it to destroy liberty and the Bill of Rights at home, and the lives of millions of people in other countries.” ~ Paula D

Exactly Paula. Upon closer examination, most of our government’s operations, successfully kill two birds with one stone, sometimes – count ’em – three or four.

As you infer, add the immediate rolling out of the “Patriot” Act. Also, the WTC-7 “pull”, I mean collapse, eliminated a lot of, as Jim would say. janky financial records.

They are very good at it, there’s always a lot more going on than meets the eye. Always think onion, and start peeling.

Also, if memory serves, Dubya & Cheney refused to be sworn, as in not under oath – for obvious reasons. The ground rules, however, did not allow them to play footsie under the table.

Here we have the so-called american “exceptionalism” – right in our faces. And that “exceptionalism” is very ugly, and makes the rest of the world want to puke! And this is something that MOST americans do not understand, comprehend or even grasp.
All those wars that USA had instigated, where numerous countries were destroyed and looted, millions killed, injured or displaced, were for one purpose only – to enrich the fat cats that control everything in your US of A. It wasn’t about bringing “freedom” or “democracy” to these unfortunate countries – it was ALL about GREED!
Karma is a bitch – and now you are paying for all of that. You looked away, you were OK with your so-called “elite’s” global criminality as long as that did not affect your lives. Well, guess what? There is a price to pay for everything, and was ALWAYS a reckoning coming for the crimes that you, as a country, had commited and continue to do so – right now by feeding hapless, brainwashed ukranians into the massive meat grinder. Your proxy army. Again, greed..
And on top of that, you are not only stealing oil from Syria, Libya and Iraq – countries that were devastated by your US of f*cking A, countries that need every cent to recover and to rebuild – you have also imposed on them crippling illegal sanctions. And now you have embarked on a suicidal confrontation with Russia – one country that can wipe you off the map in an instant! And who is driving this madness? That’s right, the neocons, the ones with the dual nationality that have taken total control of your country and had been running it into the ground. The ghastly Global Parasites that want to rule the world! But first they want to depopulate the planet, by culling as many of us, “useless eaters” as they can, leaving just enough slaves to serve on them. First attempt at depopulation has been made already and so far for them, very succesfully. Shipple was quite willing to be culled.
It was really easy for them to take you over, considering that you, “en masse”, are a bunch of dumb, ignorant twats, that are easily manipulated and brainwashed. Not enough adequate IQ. Well, look at your original roots – a collection of criminals and misfits from all over Europe, who could not make it there. Or simply escaping from justice.. That was your beginning. You were never a nation. For that you need centures and a homogenous, uniting culture. Like Russia and China and Iran have. And guess who is slapping this upstart back in it’s place. That’s right – the three greatest empires that ever existed – Persian, Chinese and Russian – they simply had enough of this uncouth, arrogant, entitled display of bad manners, combined with mass murders and destruction. Let’s not forget genocide of the indigenous population, followed by slavery. US of A should never been brought into existence in this our world. It creates only hell on earth for all the others. Victim of the botched abortion, as they say.
Unfortunately, most of you are still not seeing that you have been taken over. If you do not have the courage or the brains to even acknowledge WHO your mortal enemy is, that is systematically destroying you from within, how the hell are you going to defeat it?!
Here you are, arguing as to who you should be voting for in the next election – as if that gonna make ANY sodding DIFFERENCE!! Two wings of the same bird! Duh! Not fast learners, are you?
Only revolution could save your USA, but you cannot do even that – it requres organisation and a TEAM work, something that americans are simply incapable of. And that only leaves dissolution.
This is my last comment on this blog. I simply cannot deal anymore with the glaring ignorance and stupidity, I have given up before but then returned hoping that some flicker of knowledge, understanding or some intelligence might have found it’s way here, but, no, same inane garbage as before, same navel-gazing. No visible improvement. My sympathy to those few here who have functioning brains and can clearly see the full picture. Paula, you are awesome! Thank God, there are still some smart, intelligent people left in the USA that are totally switched on!
Good luck to you. You are the light in the darkness.

First step to redemption – make friends with Russia, they may even help you to save yourselves. They have been there before, courtesy of this Cabal, twice… in 1917 and 1991. They know exactly what you are dealing with. Russia is not your enemy.
        Your enemy is within..

        • Jarek July 22, 2023 at 12:49 pm #

Paula adores the Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin – in short, the Cabal who murdered the Czar and his family.

She is no friend of the real Russian nation or nations in general.

        • Woodchuck July 23, 2023 at 2:34 am #

Very good rant. Jarek won’t like what you have written concerning the genocide of the North American indigenous population. Jarek seems to regard such civilizations as primitive and disorganized and not good – not good at all.

Jarek’s in good company. Hitler used to read cheap dime store type novels about the old American West. In these tales the cowboys always won and the Indians always lost. Native Americans were of inferior genetic stock and it was Darwinian fate that they lost most all of the their lands and were finalluy placed in reservations. Those reservations were among history’s first concentration camps. That’s what happens if you are a “primitive” society in North America. You will be made free by the US gov’t and they will introduce you to how our freedom works when you live like good Indians in the reservations.

It’s true that the USA has never been a nation. There have been real sovereign nations existing once upon a time on North American soil. One of the larger and more successful nations is/was the Cherokee nation. There was the Iroquois nation. A case could be made that the USA was a loosely organized nation until 1865. After that we became an empire held together not by votes but by military force. We became roach trap USA. Once inside you could never get out.

Empires did appear in Central and South America, but those were all in states of decay and collapse when white Europeans appeared on the scene. It was easy to make them into new European colonies. It was not easy or even possible to make South America into a federation of centrally controlled states. The US empire came about only because it had been beaten into existence in the 1860’s by shedding vast amounts of blood during our civil war.

That makes us exceptional, yes indeed! Maybe we are so exceptional because Abe Lincoln wrote that we have “mystic cords of brotherhood” that make us an exceptional nation. Without these “mystic cords” all that sacrifice at Gettysburg would have been in vain. Let’s hear it for these cords! New Age psychobabble gobbeldygookery to justfify placing all of the Southeast USA into a giant roach hotel that they can never check out of. That’s how freedom works! And the rest of the world hates us for these great freedoms we have. For example, we are free to live in a society that sends armed men to our homes if our kids don’t show up in public schools. That’s just one example of our freedoms. In the 1960’s we were free to be drafted to go fight against Asians in Vietnam who didn’t appreciate our freedoms and were somehow threatening our democracy in Souteast Asia. Our white man’s burden has always been to spread democracy and freedom all over the globe so everybody can be just as exceptional as we are. Ain’t that right Jarek?

        • Jarek July 23, 2023 at 12:27 pm #

Dilbert loves foreigners insulting his own people. Dil, why are you still here if you’re for Indian rights? Why are you “living on stolen land”? Why haven’t you sold all that you have, given it some alcoholic Indians, and gone back to Europe to become a Muslim? Then you could follow Itchy Boots around and ty to convert her and her Black boyfriends.

        Another act.
These people are merely performers, why are so many of you not there yet?
Go re-listen to Inouye’s shadow government speech.

“There exists a shadowy government with its own Air Force, its own Navy, its own fundraising mechanism, and the ability to pursue its own ideas of national interest, free from all checks and balances, and free from the law itself”

        • Paula D July 21, 2023 at 12:03 pm #

          Wow. Inouye said that?

I thought he was part of the cover-up. I was watching the Iran-Contra hearings when Jack Brooks from Texas brought up the FEMA concentration camps that Oliver North was involved in setting up.

BAM! Inouye slammed down the gavel and told Brooks to shut up, and then dismissed the hearing.

They started back up Monday as if nothing had happened, and it was never mentioned again.

Delaware is the home of a lot of corporate grift. Biden has always protected the usurious credit card companies located in Delaware.

Usury . . . could that be a missing link?

  19. JohnAZ July 21, 2023 at 10:44 am #

You know, RFK Jr, Manchin, Sinema etc, show that the Democratic Party may no be the total bad guy here. The Deep State is owned by a group, the Blob, the Mob that is above the Dems and GOP and is comprised of both parties. The Uniparty must be destroyed to make necessary change in the country. A daunting task, to be sure as it currently controls just about everything.

I believe only the ascent of a viable third party can break the criminal government DC is now. The GOP started as a third party in 1856 in times just as perilous as today.

All you need to do is look at how some republicans vote to see that it basically is just one party with two faces. There is only the desire for personal enrichment and career climbing until a cushy retirement with their house on the lake living la dolce vita. To hell with the country and with their constituency, for that matter, once they’re retired. The constituency never seems to get it, though.

RFKjr correctly states the NH primary is retail politics. The candidates have to get out and meet the people where they live and work. It can’t all be scripted, which is why the Uniparty doesn’t like the NH primary and its position in the order of primaries.

The Iowa caususes have a lot of similarity to NH.

Retail politics: The candidate has to get out and mingle with the electorate and deal with what unscripted questions and circumstances arise during such campaigning.

i know hope springs eternal, and in our esteemed host’s eyes is far preferable to hopeless. but in the face of all the affronts, the double standard ‘law’, the limited hangouts, the uniparty blob, the woke feminism end game making ever one of us the enemy of each other, the continued “this cannot go any further” moments, it all continues.

rather than hopeless, it is time to shrug – to quit hoping, to finally let them mat the pedal with not a single hand interfering, to understand that this madness will continue until disaster.

there is no fixing this, it has to run its course. hope is in fact the only thing that restrains us, that and still having something to lose.

A decent life cannot be had until the technology/surveillance state is smashed into a million pieces. Unless and until there is a rival group of elites whose mission is to destroy technology/surveillance apparatus, nothing else matters.

    • mitchellc July 21, 2023 at 11:21 am #

Exactly. And when you pass that stage, then you re-enter the universe of world affairs with excitement and anticipation.

Which is why I might be sensing that Dissaffected, et al may be coming around? No longer moping, but re-engaged and energized by the variables and potential outcomes of the great game.

So, when you write off the USA as a spent force, another in a long train of failed and collapsed empires, what next? Well, of course priority #1 is self survival, the ability to see clearly what is occurring and prepare accordingly, but then what?

That’s why I said above that there are two audiences, one that still has yet to come up to speed – albeit, they are probably gaining nicely, what with Jr’s own force of personality allied with writers and communicators of Jim’s skill level.

But what of those who know what’s really going on, like a doctor seeing a terminal patient and no longer providing any happy talk? How does the break-up and death of the USA play out?

It’s probably way beyond the scope of CFN, which Jim needs to manage and focus on the 2024 election, but that’s ok as there are a handful of other sites that are already providing that kind of insight and analysis.

      • Edge Lord July 21, 2023 at 12:10 pm #

This blog has twisted and turned over the years, but let’s get back to one of its themes:

The US militarizes its currency as the world trades it for Energy.

We know that Energy is not the “cause” or “root” problem.

        Overpopulation is.

It is impossible that the world’s population will enjoy equal access to energy. This is why most do not have it. Instead burning brush, trash, charcoal, oil to prepare food, water, and.or stay warm. This causes environmental degradation.

        Yet back to Energy.
What is an even greater threat to the US than an alternative currency used in trading the world’s Energy?

        Am alternative…. should be E asy…

        • mitchellc July 21, 2023 at 12:46 pm #

Well, that’s the true underlying issue, but where’s the audience?

Let’s say you inherit an old house. You have a couple of options: tear it down or restore it either as a personal residence or maybe some kind of B&B.

This is basically Jim’s last hurrah; He started as a political writer and maybe will end as one. He’s got this very nice web site and a foundation of creative, intellectual property.

If he wants to be relevant in 2024, to really have ability to say “I told you so” to the thousands upon thousands of liberal Jews who essentially drove him from the party, he’s got to stay on message with the promise of hope and redemption.

That means the real issues have to be subsumed for the greater good. Maybe filed under “we’ll cross that bridge when we get there”.

          • Edge Lord July 21, 2023 at 12:59 pm #

We are being led to that bridge.
“Climate change”, central bank digital currency, total surveillance and identification, are mere precursors to the unveiling of an alternative energy. They simply can’t let everyone access it without total control. They can’t have the presently sized population with access to it. Your plate is being overburdened. Too much on it. War, weather, disease, corruption. When the new energy comes you will submit.
Solar arrays, giant table fans, etc. were never a threat. As they can never provide. But the hidden energy? That cannot be disseminated. Yet

          • justanotherguy July 21, 2023 at 2:06 pm #

edge and mitch – energy has been, since the beginning of the 20th century, the real lever of power.

my take of energy as a component of the “great game”, is like chess – the player making the second to the last mistake wins.

i arrived at this conclusion by reading, several times, a book by william engdahl called ‘A Century of War” – oil geopolitics.

the insights are at least as relevant to the 20th and 21st century as mackinder’s 19th century geopolitical formulation based on possession of central asia’s ‘world island’ as a basis of strategic options.

the world island is still relevant, but not the central driver at the moment – oil is.

          • justanotherguy July 21, 2023 at 2:17 pm #

between 1900 and now, world population has increased 8 fold, entirely on the back of energy resources. eliminate access to energy, and population will revert to something less than 1 billion, probably much less with collapse overshoot.

there are definitely energy technologies that can supplant oil (not replace), is nuclear. my own pet is LFTR, or liquid fluoride thorium reactors. huge potential, all developed at oak ridge tenn. it is being studiously ignored, save for china – a very different case.

han chinese do not see their population as a burden, but as an eventual colonizing force when the west collapses. sounds harsh, but han race superiority is the quiet part of the air they breathe.

china will continue developing LFTR, and roll it out at pace as the west declines.

the west, on the other hand, is governed by many that do not want a savior source of energy – as that would enable the west to perhaps recover. remember – you’ve been reminded enough that wh1tes are cancer…

this is a slow civilizational war.

As Revilio Oliver said long ago, the Tribe has succeeded in introducing a death wish into the Western Psyche.

We hate ourselves now. The Han Chinese do not. We’ve already lost. Whether Russia and Eastern Europe can preserve part of what we were remains to be seen.

I’m not that hopeful. Putin hates White Nationalism and Duginism raves about pan-Asianism. They’ve learned nothing from our travail a la diversity.

Millions of Muslims live in the Moscow area alone. And Russian soldiers are persecuted by Muslim and Central Asian soldiers. This is like America in the late 50’s and 60’s. It will spread to civilian life soon.

    This one leaps out:
” It is amazing to look back and see how the mighty Blob congealed after that election — like a giant rogue macrophage — to surround and eliminate Mr. Trump, ”

I also appreciate JHK’s mention of RFK’s “sturdy” performance under the scurrilous attack of the likes of the mendacious harridan gate-keeper, Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

The US decline will not stop or slow with Biden.

The US is like a drowning man, throwing its arms frantically, attempting to hold on to whoever, or whatever is at hand for its survival.

The Ukraine fiction is at a beginning of an end.

So, we will hear more about Taiwan. More fear mongering, more “media war” strategy.

Follow the money. Follow what is happening in the US domestically: crop failure, energy cost increases, deep financial/bank failure & problems, etc.

Government, or what passes as government, as former VP Pence so ineloquently pointed out recently “isn’t concerned about” these serious internal situations. This was his personal opinion, but it really is the viewpoint of government collectively.

JHK, you have described with great accuracy my internal zeitgeist feelings of the moment with the following comment from your powerful essay:

“The petal’s on the metal…the rubbers’s meeting the road and we seem to be watching a Thelma and Louise type denouement writ large.”

Our country and its leadership seems incapable of turning away from the edge but seem, instead, poised to repeat the ending scene from Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Love the Bomb– by re-enacting the pilot’s commitment to releasing the nuclear device by getting on top of it and happily riding it to oblivion.

Business suggestion: Reinstate DRESS CODES in “fancier” restaurants. Not only will it NOT hurt your traffic, you’ll have people beating your door down to eat in a civilized environment.
I’ve told restaurant owners for years (excepting, of course, the two and a half years that I didn’t step inside any building outside of my home and my parish church because I refuse to ever wear the CoronaScam religious submission burqa – this is not an exaggeration) to institute DRESS CODES.

They always say, “No, we can’t. We’d be crucified on TripAdvisor, etc.”

I truly believe we are at a pivot point. I truly believe that enough people will flock to places where they aren’t being visually assaulted by fat narcissist slobs in pajamas that it will be a financial boon to higher-end restaurants to have a dress code.

Remember, Barnhardt is always ahead of the curve. ?

Folks, suggest to all upper-level restaurants that they should institute a dress code. Collared shirts for men. No sweats, track suits, t-shirts, yoga pants. No fat rolls.

They’ll make MORE money, ESPECIALLY if they publicize it. And if some “People of Wal-Mart” roll in and say, “I’m gonna tell everyone I know to not come here!”

You say… “Yes. Please do. PLEASE.” Because you don’t want their business.

Ticket-taking has many forms, and it isn’t always selling-out to those above, it is frequently capitulating and selling out to those BELOW.
    What do we want?

    Dress codes!

    When do we want them?

Jarek: Capitulation is the order of the day. People live in fear of mice with mics and megaphones.

When something as insidious and socially destructive as what we today bear witness here (in our host’s essay) has had the opportunity to grow so metastasized as we (the ‘can’t unsee’) today find it, and while so many of our fellow citizens refuse to see it—we know it will not go down, be defeated, easily.
The Biden Bidness alone is protected by so many professional and criminally-wrought layers via the smothering-into-unconsciousness in broad daylight even the televised Congressional hearings. Said hearings/exposés have become passé to the 5G-Tik-Tock-addled and rendered paralyzed masses. (I’m just throwing the 5G out as an apogee of postulated analogy, mostly suspicions of it are all I have for forming an opinion currently.)

But we’ve been under assault for so long now, especially since Edward Bernays got his early contracts in mass manipulation. It’s hard to pinpoint the exact moments of preceding eras where technology made impactful leaps. It’s always a delayed reaction for the actual moving of the masses. For this which we bear witness today is the product of a long slow-roll strategy, layered and subtlety-inflected.
But let us first acknowledge, we’ve been playing with fire ever since electricity was “harnessed.” Flip a switch, the light comes on or off. Good enough for Grampa, good enough for me. (If it ain’t broke, don’t presume to fix it.)

And the subtleties of electricity’s and electronica’s capabilities of polluting and subduing the human psyche are approaching a significant culmination now that brain chips are a passion of both capitalism’s Pied Piper-cum-hero Mr Musk, and in a Dark Side comic book story line, his ‘nemesis,’ Yuval Noah Harari. Technocracy for the Win!

A side note here: Elon Musk’s maternal grandfather was a quite famous proponent of 1920’s Technocracy, Inc—only scientists and engineers are rightfully placed on the planet to run everything. That’s e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. Grampa was hounded from pre-totalitarian Canada for barnstorming his views, so he flew off to where freedom’s winds then beckoned. Why, to South Africa, of course.

So you see, a certain familial and cultural collective thread runs through this now-international enterprise from the 1920s to this very day. Included in this connective thread are the likes of Klaus Schwab and Bill “Medicine-Man” Gates, both of whose families share the same fundamental characteristics.
Each has “interests” that complement the names previously mentioned herein. Their minute differences have encountered little friction as their individual fiber strands are woven together electronically across these decades. You know, the ones that now wrap and gird the world. Our world. Our lives.

And today we will find them solidly backing Mr Biden, a man they can (and are) solidly behind. One has to wonder—but not much—how far Bill Gates, et al and civilian natsec/defense private spook agency-operator-types like Peter Thiel and Pierre Omidyar, (not neglecting their special interlocutor-emissary, White House-insider Eric Schmidt,) have plied the conscience pockets (pockets of conscience?) of our ex parta Intel/Top Cop savants. The Comeys, Muellers, Brennans, the Clappers and their manifold minions populating the Beltway.
This is what even—and especially—RFK, Jr would be up against, the Fourth Generation iteration of that Evil that visited Dallas in November of 1963, and Los Angeles in June of 1968. Bonded, cemented with their very married and just-as-deadly Technocrats. It don’t look good, y’all.

It is a tangled web they’ve woven. From here it appears the Twenty First Century Gordian Knot. And in my speculative musings it will take a young Alexander and millions of his (or her) compatriots, likely well-grounded veterans of the application of The Rules-Based Order to “unravel” it. It’s that Big. And it’s ever spinning its web tighter even as these minutes go by. They are of a singular purpose, a solo pursuit, even as they race against public awareness = action. Because that’s what’s truly going on, a race against time. The consequence being the outcome for the ages, human destiny in a neat package of either-or primary possibilities.

    Other than that, Mrs Lincoln….
This Alaskan’s week was a jarring one. I received by email a big in-my-face solicitation from a supremely confident brochure featuring the smiling mug of Adam Schiff for US Senate. While cancelling the unbidden subscription I saw there was an intimation that they weren’t finished with me yet. As if they can message-massage me into subjection. It was quite creepy. Leaving me with a haunting question: should I take my remaining ivermectin now, or await further events?

“Most of us here, are old enough to remember the 9/11 attacks, the Global Financial Crisis, and the Chinavirus. SOMETHING will come around, and it will de-cohere the country. Because, “red” state and county elites won’t just sit around and scratch their groins, next time.

In the next, panicked “state of flux”, these people will remember everything, to include, the Democrat party’s drive for total domination after 2020—the censorship; the drive to pack the Supreme Court with extra judges; the attempt to federalize all elections through HR1/S1; make DC a state; etc.—and they will say, “fuck you”, and they will PUSH THE ENVELOPE, just as happened in the USSR in the late 1980’s through the 1991 collapse.

(Although I expect the Dems to steal it again in 2024, this will happen REGARDLESS of who is President after 2024, because the Dems and their media, institutional, and corporate allies will still be running the country, more or less.)

In this context, Trump, the man, the candidate, the defendant, is now a SIDESHOW, irrelevant.

Trump played his great historical role in catalyzing a systemic reaction against him and his supporters, which constitutes A GIANT, DELAYED FUSE BOMB. That’s it.

His own fate, doesn’t matter anymore.

The entire national Republican party (the central committee and the leadership in Congress) does not matter anymore.

It does not matter who is president in 2024 or thereafter, nothing is getting “fixed” from Washington. If you still don’t get that, you’re hopeless.”

It is amusing for me to watch the “savior” status starting to be applied to RFK, Jr. Lol… (Another cult forming).

Even if they aren’t literally saying, “He can be our savior”, they’re acting like it. Talking like it.

It’s the Obama…then the Trump phenomenon all over again.

        “Hope and Change!”, then “MAGA!”

(Ashley Babbitt voted for Obama twice. Then, disillusioned, jumped on the Trump train, which led to her premature death. But hey, she’s probably better off. I kinda envy her. She’ll miss a lot of pain and agony in the coming months and years).

Let’s get down to the nitty gritty…..Most of you reading this, including myself, have a very high chance of being dead by 2030. And not just because you may be old as dirt right now. Many, if not most, of your kids and grandkids will be dead too. And there isn’t shit RFK, Jr or Trump can do to stop it.

“Turn out the lights, the party’s over”. The can that’s been kicked down the road for decades….yeah, that one. We’re at the end of the road now. No more room to kick it further.

But go ahead many of you…..try another Cult of personality fix. See how it works fer ya.

” — and then you’ve got to ask yourself: who would even want to win the support of such vile creatures as Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Jerrold Nadler, and Adam Schiff, let alone be associated with them in the same club?” ~ JHK

If logic, integrity, and morality were a requirement for those that supposedly represent us, few would qualify.

The spectacle of some members of the House that supposedly represent us will need to be scrubbed clean, if they intend to retain power. Their only hope for relevance and survival is with an authoritarian regime.

“And whose brilliant idea was it, anyway, to install this disgusting and incompetent grifter, ‘Joe Biden’, as our head-of-state?”

A career-long opportunist that has been slopping at the Public Trough his entire confused life – as well as acquiring other lucrative sources of side-hustle income from various places near and far (Ah-Ah-Ah-llegedly). And a lady who acquired her high Government position by her strategic use of… other kinds of ‘Other’ positions

What a showpiece to the World for an Empire in deep decline. This would be hilarious if it was not so injurious and disrespecting of We the People. But we laugh in order to avoid crying.

What all this does is sap our faith and trust in anyone in a position of Public trust. It drags down our spirit (if we let it) and takes away our own hopes and dreams for our own personal lives and those of our loved ones (if we let it).

The old Klingon saying goes, “Only a fool fights in a burning house…”

Well, we may not all be fools… but we find ourselves still hoping for a decent life while in the midst of one of those big burning houses we were warned about. And what was the cause of that original Star Trek ‘Burning House’ notion? It was an evil entity that got off big-time on the pain and misery and conflict that it fostered in others.

Watching and listening to the courageous RFK Jr. and those who seek to destroy him… it doesn’t take long to see who the evil entities are these days in ‘The Indispensable Nation’ that are getting-off on and enriching themselves from all the pain and anguish being suffered by We the People.

And no one has to understand Klingon to know that.

Still having and demonstrating Faith while in the midst of a raging Storm. That is the mark of true courage. And we had all better find that kind of courage if we are going to make it.

RFK Jr. is not a perfect man. But at least he tries to be honest and stays off his knees.

Why are we always in search of leaders? We’re not all followers, right. Right?

        • Roundball Shaman July 22, 2023 at 6:31 pm #

Ron Anselmo: “Why are we always in search of leaders?”

Not everyone is looking for a ‘Leader’. But most people are. Why?

Each and every one of us was subject to heavy pressure to conform to ‘Leaders’ from the instant we were born. We had to follow the numerous and unforgiving edicts of our parents (right there… that is enough of an installed default program to doom someone for life to ‘need a Leader’). And we had to conform to other ‘Leader’ adults in our young lives in our extended family… in our submission to Teachers in school… for the religious folk the Leadership of the Church… etc. Everyone wants a piece of us to rule over us. It’s a miracle any unique part of us ever survives.

But for the independent minded – your true sense of self does survive and flourish (but not without withstanding endless pressures from bosses, peers, friends, The Gov, ‘The Science!’… and all the other legacy soul-sappers we were and are exposed to. All these folks hate the idea of Independence).

So that’s why so many people ‘need’ Leaders and look for political saviors. Which is sad because that dooms one to an empty life of submission to others – most of whom who will never have your best interests at heart.

          • Ron Anselmo July 22, 2023 at 11:53 pm #

Roundball Shaman – truth be told, in skimming Jim’s weekly posts, I always anticipate your usually singular comment – always articulate, interesting and insightful – so I’m flattered to have elicited an unusual second reply.

You are exactly right on the origins of the “need” for leaders. It jibes with my own personal theory of “concentric prisons”, that limit our individual freedoms – self-limiting at the core.

Each of us is surrounded by concentric prison fences – the first & closest, a fence built by our parents, the next, built by other adults, the next, built by our teachers, the next, built by our religions. the next, built by our spouses – never ending fences – someone or something, always building more.

There’s always a way around, over or under these fences, but here’s the key. If we, for whatever reasons, keep ourselves in a prison of our own making, we never even have a chance to dig under, go around or jump the fences to the freedom that awaits beyond. We have to free ourselves first – many don’t.

Thanks again, we’re on the same page – your explanation very well-reasoned and articulate – mine not so much.

          • Roundball Shaman July 23, 2023 at 2:24 pm #

Ron Anselmo: “There’s always a way around, over or under these fences, but here’s the key. If we, for whatever reasons, keep ourselves in a prison of our own making, we never even have a chance to dig under, go around or jump the fences to the freedom that awaits beyond. We have to free ourselves first – many don’t.”

Ron… the sad reality within the Human Family is that many people ENJOY being in those prisons. They like the anonymity of hiding among the clueless, uninspired masses in there. They like the lack of taking responsibility for their own thoughts and actions (‘They’ made me do it!… It’s NOT my fault!). They never want to turn on the ignition key to their own personal agency and freedom and creativity and uniqueness. They do not seek a way out of their self-built prison because they like it in there. It’s just another way of extending their adolescence all the way through adulthood and never having to grow up.

And in short, our Society today is loaded with infants and adolescents who look like grown adults (many of whom having high-leverage social position) but who are anything but true adults of wisdom and maturity. They are the Prison Guard, the Warden, and The Prisoner all rolled into One in the safe hands of ‘Leaders’.

          • Ron Anselmo July 24, 2023 at 1:42 am #

Agreed, your reasoning is sound. Many, unfortunately most, will trade security (blanket?) for freedom – as you say, never having to grow up.

  39. jim July 21, 2023 at 3:13 pm #

Is the “Downfall of Blobism,” in the U.S. part of a greater cyclical pattern of a rise and decline dynamic of economic powers that has occurred throughout world history? (Iraq between 500 and 1100, the Italian City States–Florence, Genoa, Milan between, 1000 and 1500, Holland and the Dutch 1100-1800, England 1600-1900, the U.S. 1800 to this moment)

Is JHK now capturing quite accurately the decline and potential collapse portion of this cycle as it is now occurring in the U.S.?

What are the key mechanisms of a rise? Does a tipping point then occur when these mechanisms begin to push us into stagnation, decline, and potentially collapse?

How exactly do markets, climate, energy, decadence, and finance fit into this up/down pattern?

Is recovery ever possible once decline sets in–when social polarization, institutional sclerosis, skewed markets, and an increasingly centralized State all seem to accelerate relative decline?

Does contemporary cooperation between intelligence, tech, and finance make it more likely that a desperate coercive lunge towards total control occurs before collapse?

I have found the writings of Braudel, Van Bavel’s “The Invisible Hand?”, and Arrighi’s “Long Twentieth Century,” extremely insightful in regard to some of these issues.

Ex of mine had a caricature rendition of Obama hanging in her kitchen, Obama sitting on a roast beef sandwich or something like that. Her house one night was broken into, car stolen, electronics lifted, etc. The kids came in through the kitchen window, right in front of where the picture was hanging. I asked her in jest, now why would these upstanding youths continue to burglarize a home after seeing the owner has such a wonderful Obama picture proudly displayed in her kitchen? She told me to shut up and immediately started crying. I will let you draw your own conclusions on this one.

Off topic – but reminded me of a story.

Years ago, maybe a week after the new 100-dollar bills came out, someone broke into my house during the day and stole money off my dresser.

They emptied a bowl of change and took it, but left about $800 in new hundreds, laying on the dresser – not having seen the new hundreds and thinking they were some kind of Monopoly money.

That was of course when I was single and had lots of hundreds – now I’m down to a bowl of change – emptied by my wife on the regular.

Wow! Saved by ignorance. Makes a feller think about them getting a clue and revisiting the scene of the crime hoping for a chance at a thief’s redemption once they actually saw those hundies in their true light for the first time. Double lucky for you. It’s a hindsight thought that they were already in the joint for a tour of duty for a couple of years before discovering “the error of their ways” in not keeping current with the currency of the realm. I DO remember being just as you in my younger days, as a matter of fact. In spite of their plentitude back then, they were also worth considerably more than the new colorized and coded version.
Come to think of it, a likely reason for their expedited bill change was remembering the US State Department-Treasury had left USD printing presses in strategic allies’ safekeeping in places like Iran. Musta been a few too many sleepless nights for the sub-department responsible for the situation.

Here is what to prepare for over the next 1.5 years:

    1) Biden will be forced out of running in 2024 by the DNC due to his age, corruption and unpopularity. “Dr” Jill will kick and scream behind the scenes, until she sees the $100+ million payoff though “book deals” and the glowing tributes to Joe in Left Wing Rags like the WaPo.

    2) He will be replaced by Gavin Newsom with Gretchen Whitmer as his running mate. This will be convenient for the Marxist Democrats as they will force Harris out of the White House, since both Pres. and VP can not be from the same state. Newsom is younger, is a slick liar, middle age Democrat women love the guy and think he is hot (think “The View” crowd), and he is as evil, dirty, sociopathic and feckless as they come.

Whitmer is the female version of Newsom, just not as “pretty” or connected. Newsom was raised by the Getty family. The Getty family made billions in oil, but now they fund Just Stop Oil, the radical eco-communist organization. Newsom is one of the WEF’s Young Leaders and has strong ties to the CCP which has funded some of his business interests in the past.

    3) Newsom / Whitmer will be installed in Jan. 2025 as “President” and “Vice President” via mail in vote fraud, tech and media collusion. Aka “the same ol’ song and dance”. Once they are installed, they will nominate Kamala Harris as their Attorney General. Since the Senate will be Democrat controlled, her confirmation will be easy. After that, they will go to war on the 2nd Amendment and SCOTUS as well as their political dissenters, who will be censored, persecuted and imprisoned and possibly murdered. Unless a Secession happens of some sort, what remains of “America” will not survive the Newsom Administration. Its all lining up perfectly for the Demo-Coms.

Lionel Messi will make his debut with Inter Miami CF on Friday, with all eyes on Fort Lauderdale. Inter Miami takes on Cruz Azul in the opener of Leagues Cup 2023. The two teams meet in a group stage matchup, with the newly expanded competition now including 47 teams and every squad from both Liga MX and MLS. There are no ties in Leagues Cup group stage action, with each team receiving one point if the game is tied after 90 minutes and the winner of the subsequent penalty shootout earning an additional point.

    Hi JHK Admin,
I will make one point about offering an analysis using critical thinking skills and the analysis that right wing sites are offering about the current “scandal” involving Hunter Biden and his father, the current President. First, just because someone says something does not make it true. If you accept that, we have yet to see the evidence back the kinds of claims you have been making.

This is important, because if we use the same standard for the Trump “scandals” as we do for the Biden “scandals,” I would have expected to have seen the torches and pitchforks out for the former President (amongst folks on this site). That is not the case. You do not apply the same standard–and in Trump’s case, pointing out the obvious, he has been criminally indicted more than once, and a third is apparently on the way. Folks here give Trump a pass in a way that they don’t do for Biden.

          Well Paula D,
Your inability to apply the standard in both cases is not open to debate here. You give more slack to your guy because he is your guy. Sorry, but partisanship is partisanship. He is YOUR guy…

      • hustled enough July 21, 2023 at 10:51 pm #

        Well Paula D,
So many different investigations and indictments… hmm.
Well? “Corrupt weaponization” — you might want to then extend that charitable claim to President Biden as well. As I said to JHK Admin … the fact you don’t shows that there is a double standard here.

        • Paula D July 22, 2023 at 5:53 pm #

Are you that obtuse? The weaponization of the criminal justice system only applies to the enemies of the DNC and Deep State.

The other half of it is the obscene sight of the lack of accountability for treason, bribery, and other high crimes and misdemeanors, committed by Biden, and documented by numerous whistleblowers, and Hunter’s laptop, which contains photos and emails confirming it all.

Not to mention run-on-the-mill crimes like sexual assault (on camera), pedophilia, and cocaine use-in the White House, no less.

If Trump had been caught on camera sniffing the hair of unwilling women, or fondling little girls while they tried desperately to escape, or if cocaine had been found in the White House, are you seriously trying to tell me that those crimes would have been ignored, the way Biden’s are?

Double standard? I can’t believe that you can’t see the double standards being applied here. You don’t seem that stupid.

Therefore, I can only assume that you are being paid to post your TDS slop here. Surely you wouldn’t do this for free.

            run-on-the-mill crimes – Paula

          • hustled enough July 23, 2023 at 2:14 am #

            Hi Paula D,
“Obtuse.” I don’t think that word means what you think it does… And as for, “The weaponization of the criminal justice system only applies to the enemies of the DNC and Deep State.” You might as well claim that the “Moon is made of green cheese because it is made of green cheese. You argument is not stupid–it is nonsensical.

Why? Trump has been caught on tape telling people that he liked to assault women (and women who say that he has done this to them) or that he was trying get votes in Georgia before Jab 6; that he was putting a quid pro quo on Ukraine that is not an equivalent? Oh, wait! He did. And he is being INDICTED for his actions; he has been also found LIABLE for sexual abuse. So, yes, Paula D–what you have is a double standard. You think those things prove Biden is bad news–OK–just show a little consistency…

    • MaryQueen July 21, 2023 at 7:26 pm #

Which Trump “scandal” in particular are you referring to?

      • hustled enough July 21, 2023 at 10:53 pm #

        And MaryQueen will MaryQueen.

      • hustled enough July 21, 2023 at 10:56 pm #

Any number–documents, sexual abuse, the incoming one for Jan 6, the one coming in from Georgia, and why not throw in the weak one from NY just for “shits and giggles.” Smith doesn’t appear to be fucking around and appears to have evidence–we will see if what he says is something that can be proven in a court of law to be true. The civil case–he was found liable. So, that is a lot more than anything on President Biden–so far. So as always, let us see what Squirt does. Maybe the Republicans can make their case stick–but not so far, no matter how sensationalized they proclaim their beliefs.

        • JohnAZ July 22, 2023 at 1:20 am #

          • hustled enough July 23, 2023 at 2:26 am #

If you believe your reasoning, JohnAZ, apply the same standard to Biden. You think Biden is guilty–than by the standards you are speaking of–Trump must be guilty using the thinking of many here. When Paula D talks of Deep State machinations as being some kind of defining difference? Seriously? I know that JHK Admin uses this assumption to provide a basis for his blogging claim, but this claim has been used by people on the Left back in the time of Reagan. So, they are wrong? Right? It is just a convenient smoke screen to refuse to rationally engage.

          • hustled enough July 23, 2023 at 2:32 am #

            Hi MaryQueen,
Sorry, but saying it is so does not make it so; that is what a court of law is for.
Remember all that nonsense about stolen elections that Trump knowingly lied about? Well, that was “manufactured.” And none of the key claims Trump advanced were supported in a court of law. FOX was sued and settled for 3/4 of a billion dollars. You don’t do that if you KNOW you are right, MaryQueen. But do you acknowledge any of that?

Nope; you don’t acknowledge it in defense of your claim about Biden. One cannot take such a brazenly partisan (and double standard) position as you hold as anything other than it is–nonsensical.

    • DaveO907 July 21, 2023 at 8:35 pm #

The FBI has documented the aforementioned Biden crimes in Ukraine. It’s in an declassified report completed in 2020 that Wray has done backflips and frog hops in fighting against its release. But Sen Chuck Grassley released the paper file yesterday, so you can read ’em and weep.

I don’t know where you are but I can tell there is some significant street action happening as I write this.. Those thunderheads rolling in will finish the metaphor in a flash. That will be the lightning accompanying the precipitation.

        Well Daveo907,
Let us see you do similar with all of the info on Trump? Maybe President Biden will be the bad guy you say he is–that is for a court of law to decide–but come back to me when President Biden has been indicted–as Donald Trump has been–I wonder how many he will have in total? Until then–why not accept that there may be some fire where these indictment smoke is occurring.

        • DaveO907 July 21, 2023 at 11:29 pm #

You’ll find out sooner than me, hustled enough. You’d find out even more if you would read the FBI document they have kept hidden away for 3 years. But that’s not good enough likely. No, I’ve seen enough regarding Biden. I have disliked Trump since the 1980s, but like I said elsewhere in this thread, he didn’t fall for the “Moar War!” these bastards are both peddling for the MIC. I really, really, more than anything feel violated by this mass murder as a way of life this administration does under such odiously false pretenses.
The lowest expression of hypocrisy is all we’ve gotten from these rabid neocons.

            Well DaveO907,

From an honest and honorable man, Garland Nixon, who describes himself as ‘left,’ a liberal. A former national board member of the ACLU.

I heard about this, DaveO907–again–let us see if this goes anywhere. As Comer’s repeated claims of whistle-blowers have come up with unverified claims (and missing whistleblowers promised to appear)–so shall we see if this will lead to something really bad for Biden. I am open to that possibility. Let us see where the evidence leads–not tea-leaf interpretations of what such claims mean or blind acceptance of something as actually true. After all, Trump FAILED to make the case for widespread election fraud. Let us see where these claims go.

    • SW July 21, 2023 at 9:42 pm #

Did Trump leave a laptop at a computer store in NJ loaded with evidence that’s been verified? Biden and his son, Hunter, certainly have the right to defend themselves from any charges of influence peddling, etc. but first they must be charged and the Attorney General has eyes only for his political opponent. I object to the obvious double standard as do many other citizens.

      • hustled enough July 21, 2023 at 11:01 pm #

        Hey SW,
Dick picks… sure. Why not. We have the human equivalent of computers–witnesses who have sworn under oath that DT has done bad things–to women and to our democracy. Until you accept that the style of argument of your claims apply in principle to your guy as well, we don’t have a lot to discuss.

          • hustled enough July 23, 2023 at 2:44 am #

            Well Anthea,
Given the breakdown of the chain of custody concerning that computer, good luck on verifying contents to eyewitness levels. Also, when you say, “He said, she said,” you better say “He said, THEY said,” as in MANY women, not one. After all, Weinstein went to Gaol because so many women came forward to corroborate what other women were saying.

          • Paula D July 23, 2023 at 1:13 pm #

The computer went to the FBI, which sat on it for years, even while Trump was being impeached for “crimes” of which the computer absolved him.

That means that the FBI was obstructing justice, which is a crime.

AND it interfered with an election, which Democrats insist is a crime, at least when they accuse Trump or the Russians of doing it.

Once again, the blatant hypocrisy and double standards of the Dembots is on display.

          • Paula D July 23, 2023 at 1:21 pm #

The New York legislature passed a Trump-specific law, extending the statue of limitation for accusations of sexual assault, but only for a limited time.

The woman who claimed that Trump sexually assaulted her last millennium in a public department store dressing room (taken straight from a Law and Order episode), was therefore able to file her lawsuit.

They passed a bill of attainder directed specifically at Trump, in other words, which is un-Constitutional.

The case was viewed by honest lawyers as specious. But dumbass TDS dembots hold it up as some sort of “proof” that Trump should be persecuted.

These same people look at the refusal of courts to allow complaints of election fraud to be filed as “proof” that there is no evidence of election fraud.
And yet, the courts refused to hear the proof, simply ruling that they would not listen.

Is it possible that half of the country’s population are really that stupid? Or is it just brainwashing? Either way, it doesn’t give much hope for the future of the country.

        • Paula D July 22, 2023 at 1:07 pm #

My friend was an airline stewardess in the 80s. She was fondled and propositioned by Biden. She blew it off as part of the job back then.

But when Tara Reid started being savaged by the media, she tried to contact them to add her testimony, so that Tara would not be alone.

The media showed no interest, but she was contacted. Someone called her and threatened her children, by giving her their names and addresses, and telling her that if she knew what was good for her, she would back off.

So, of course she did. No sworn testimony was given. No one wants their children to be killed to prove that the president is a swarmy POS who can’t keep his hands to himself.

Anyone with eyes and can already see that.

Only the willfully blind, or NAFO trolls, refuse to acknowledge it.

          • hustled enough July 23, 2023 at 2:47 am #

            Well Paula D,
The difference between you and me is that I do not immediately dismiss such claims. How many women corroborate her claims with their own experiences? Do we have Biden talking about “grabbing women by the pussy” condemning himself out of his own mouth? Well? Because if you do, set the investigation in motion. But, you won’t do this for Trump, so, your “what about-ism” is empty.

          • Paula D July 23, 2023 at 1:23 pm #

            Do we have Biden bragging?

No, but we have numerous videos of him doing so. YouTube scrubs them as fast as people post them, but I have seen them myself.

It is you who are engaging in whataboutism, by the way. Jeez, you are shameless.

          • Paula D July 23, 2023 at 1:24 pm #

I have seen Biden grabbing women AND little girls, on camera.

But you deny it, while talking instead about Trump, in a perfect display of what you shitlibs call whataboutism, when it suits you.

            Rules-based order, indeed.

          • hustled enough July 23, 2023 at 5:09 pm #

            Hi Paula D,
“No, but we have numerous videos of him doing so.”
So, one of the things that a court of law would do is to look at the CONTEXT for the videos you describe–was it unwanted attention; etc. You know, we have video of Trump with Epstein–does that make him a human trafficker? No, because CONTEXT matters.

“You deny it.” Paula D, it is pretty clear that you do not read very closely. What do you believe I am denying? Have at it! If Biden is doing wrong, investigate it, but don’t offer the BS that many on the Right offer as definitive proof. You won’t hold that standard for Trump, though, and he is being indicted in multiple cases and also held liable for sexual abuse–hey that sounds like a pattern that would have you screaming for Biden’s head if he was in that situation.

Ergo, you hold different standards for Trump. He is your guy, Paula D. You can have him!

        • Paula D July 22, 2023 at 1:10 pm #

I just had a conversation with a liberal friend a couple of days ago. We usually avoid politics. I made one comment to him that I suppose many here would question, which was that blacks had a better quality of life in 1955 than they do now–which is true by most metrics: They had relatively safe neighborhoods, stable families, high rates of employment, and relatively good schools. Black neighborhoods were not saturated with drugs and drug gangs, the murder rate was low, and there were no drive-by shootings.

My friend immediately went into a rant: “I can’t BELIEVE you would say that,” being his only rebuttal. Well, except for telling me that, as a white person, I had no right to say anything at all about the lives of blacks.

Perhaps even more surprising was his assertion that drugs are not flooding across the Mexican border, and that drug cartels are not coming into the US. When I mentioned human trafficking across our southern border, his reply was, “I dont believe it.”

It’s really extraordinary to listen this stuff. Liberalism seems to reequire an all-encompassing denial of objective reality at pretty much every level.

I did have the imipression that he knew that himself–that he knew that everything I said was true–but simply felt an obligation, as a good liberal, to deny it. This is a guy who taught for five years in an all-black urban school and worked for several years at the city’s welfare office. He thus has no illusions about black lives, their educational attainments, and the state of violence in black culture.

People ignore me when I talk about introversion, inner work, etc. Or mock me.

The above is why I do it. People simply don’t function properly any more. Especially the ones who should, namely the high IQ ones.

Janos – you’re exactly right. Just had this conversation with my wife, not an hour ago.

Whether delusion – a sense of entitlement, thirst for money, power, possessions, or other, alcohol or drug addiction, dishonesty, hubris, narcissism – denial & avoidance for whatever reason, without doing the necessary inner work, leads to that perpetual behavior.

Someone at 95, same as they were at 75, same as they were at 55, same as they were at 35.

All those behaviors can be changed in an instant with the right amount of introversion, introspection & inner work. Alas, we continue to look elsewhere. Look! A chicken!

            @ Jarek:

Perhaps you should provide us with your definition of “inner work.” Your pathological lying would seem to indicate that by “inner work” you mean the relentless pursuit of fantasy, falsehood, and rationalization. Essentially, all your thoughts and opinions are mere rationalizations for your own failures: You refuse to work because that would be “capitalism”; women are evil because you can’t attract a woman. “Inner work,” in your case is no doubt primarily your rationalization for never doing anything at all and never engaging with real life or real people–lest objective reality topple your elaborate fantasy world. In your inability to either be truthful or engage with reality, you are as bad off as my liberal friend.

          • Anthea July 22, 2023 at 8:58 pm #

I think that’s the part that bothered me most–that my friend was saying things that I knew he could not possibly believe.

I mentioned to him the problems caused by immigration, and the recent looting and destruction in France. He said that was because they had been abused and mistreated. I pointed out that these were second-generation, or possibly even third-generation immigrants whom France had been supporting on welfare for generations. Since my friend had worked at the welfare office for years and has been disgusted with welfare-recipients ever since, we found some common ground there.

Still, even if the immigrants in France actually had fled their own countries (where they had been abused and mistreated) to take shelter and be provided with food, housing, education, and medical care, it seems to me that being “abused and mistreated” in North Africa is perhaps not a good reason to burn buildings, set cars on fire, and loot businesses in France.

The seminal idea here is apparently that, if you suffer any kind of misfortune in life, this entitles you to engage in murder and mayhem.

  50. ViceGrip July 21, 2023 at 6:11 pm #

Mick said, “I do believe that the climate is changing catastrophically. I don’t know exactly why,”

… forget the arguing back and forth; Chinese, Ashkenazi; useless bullshit!

He made an important statement of fact, and another one– even more important .

The “climate changing catastrophically”, means that it has now become noticeable to him, within the span of his life; had the span of ones life been even longer than he or she [F the BS pronouns!] might even consider that what they are now noticing seems *abrupt; all a matter of time scale.

When he stated, “I don’t know exactly why”; I do.

Most people do not understand the fact — when it comes to global (read “worldwide) warmng, the following:

    1. 80% of the heat produced by global warming — *whatever* the cause, is stored in the world’s oceans; “latent” heat — if you will; hidden.

    2. Up until relatively recently (your mileage may vary/’scale’ is everything), we had only been witnessing the effects of global warming as it affects the atmosphere; the other “unhidden” 20%.

    3. We are now entering the El Nino’ phase of the ENSO (El Nino’ Southern Oscillation).

    4. As the direct result of this, the 80% latent (hidden) heat of global warming, is being transferred to the atmosphere.

    5. Today [Friday July 21, 2023], the ‘Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) was measured to be in the 90°F range in the Deep South; 94°F in Jacksonville, FL.

    6. When the WBGT hits 95°F (35°C), evaporative cooling stops, and, human beings (and smaller vertabrates) without access to air conditioning perish; this being due to cessation of organ functioning as the body core temperature increases exponentially.

    Prologue . . .

All of the above is ling-established scientific fact — not theory. It can all be readily verified during the course of a brief internet search session. Even real-time CONUS maps indicating the current WBGT (in your atea) are available. The ‘Real-Feel’ Heat Index is one thing; the WBGT is *everything*.

    35°C WBGT = 95°F WBGT

Actually, the northern & southern polar regions have been warming much faster than other regions of the world, and had started to many decades before the rest of the world .

It sounds totally counterintuitive of course. Most would mistakenly think the warming would commence in equatorial regions; simply not true.

This is scientifically known as ‘Arctic Amplification’, which was the sole reason for the initial research pertaining to global warming commening msby decades ago at the poles; North Pole primarily, by climatologists, glaciologists, oceanographers, marine biologists & paleoclimatologists.

There is very litlle established science pertaining to global warming that is not highly counterintuitive.

          • JohnAZ July 22, 2023 at 12:37 am #

Global warming is happening. Mary, I just saw the forecast for August and the above normal temperatures are heading your way.

Take it from someone who is living in the 110 to 120 degree zone. It is hot, native plants are suffering from the heat. Anything above 110 does that.

To me the job of government at this time is the protection of people from the heat. Air conditioning must be available to folks during the heat of the day, when it is above 110. The job of government is not to solve the AGW issue, because they cannot. It is time that humanity adapts to the new climate frontier. Moving north, deserting the deserts, erasing national borders and creating new ones, opening Canada and Siberia to farming as the permafrost melts, researching the climatic effects of the Milanovich cycles, the warming ocean effects on El Niño/Niña cycles, and the North Atlantic gyre will help humanity adjust to the future.

The one thing that will not change is the increasing temps, no matter what wasted effort that the governments do. There is so much that needs to be done, adjusting that the stupid climate changers are just plain ignoring.

The belief seems to be that switching to electricity and Happy Motoring with EVs is going to change everything for the better. People who believe that are ignorant/stupid. There is no answer for the warming, even if it is caused by mankind. What a surprise it will be to the world that after changing a percentage of electrical generation and doing transportation with electricity that it will make very little difference.

            Vice grip

Temperature gradients are increasing equator to pole. Increasing gradients make increasing flux aka wind. The coriolus effect divides the wind into three zones, trades, westerlies and polar. The boundaries between the belts are the jet streams and storm tracks.

Bottom line, the heat of the equator, which faces the sun all the time, moves with the gradient to the poles. The heat arrives at the pole from 360 degrees of longitude. The pole is a very small surface area that receives heat from a large surface area at the equator. It will heat faster compared to its average. The farther north you go, the higher the temp increase. Also, the northern hemisphere has much more land surface to interfere the flow of heat by the oceans and the atmosphere. The Southern Hemisphere is much more oceanic and the ocean protects the land at the pole. That is why the north is warming faster.

Right now, NO ONE knows what is going to happen down the road. So man king better prepare to adapt to the changes.

IMHO, one of the main threats the globalists use is the inundation of the coastal, blue cities by rising storms and tides. Ha, good riddance to bad rubbish.

The MSM is working the heatwave panic 24/7. I am kinda a weather geek so I did my own research. I looked at USA records dating back to 1890 showing record high/low temps. During the period 1910-1940( thirty years) 32 out of 50 states recorded record high temps.Since 1940 until today (82 years) only 19 records set. In fact since 2000 (23 years) only 5 record high temp records have been set (got that Al Gore). In particular the 1930’s set 21 high temperature records The 30’s also set a majority of cold record temps. What happened in the 30’s? who knows? Maybe all the A-bomb tests in the 40 -50’s cooled off the Earth.Yea, Ok. . Seems to me the temps go up and down with no discernible pattern.

          • Beryl of Oyl July 22, 2023 at 12:51 pm #

There is no established science pertaining to man-made global warming due to CO2.

Any heat in the ocean is a geological function.

They couldn’t con people into trading hot water credits on the stock exchange and making energy hogs like Al Gore even richer, so they had to come up with another story, which also just so happens to tie into their depopulation agenda as well.

Reminded me exactly of a recent exchange of mine. I’m not a rule-follower by any stretch, so I’m always at odds with the owner of the gym where I work out because of his never-ending rules and micromanagement.

It’s a 24-hour gym, camera monitored so he is constantly on me about this or that. One day he’d had enough and wrote me a long two-page email – probably took him an hour to write it – thesaurus at the ready – because he fancies himself a big businessman.

The gist was that he’d had enough – this was my last warning, one more rule infraction and my membership would immediately be terminated per the terms of my membership contract.

My reply was “LOL” – wish I’d have been there to see his head explode. I don’t work well with ultimatums either.

Further, the last straw was that I had the human decency to let a homeless black girl in to use the bathroom – a mortal sin.

The irony is, he’s black, liberal and a social media addict, so I told him, “Here’s not a good look on social, ‘White man has gym membership immediately terminated for having the human decency to let homeless black woman use restroom.'”

The dumbass hasn’t said a word to me since.

If understood correctly, it also depends on humidity insofar as, for example, low humidiy (dry air) will increase the wet bulb temps. Is that right?

It was hotter in the 1930s than it is now.

The 1925 & 1935 hurricanes that leveled Florida, the Dust Bowl, 1927 Mississippi River flooding, 1936 flooding in New England, 1938 hurricane that flattened New England … nothing today matches any of those events.

      • JohnAZ July 22, 2023 at 12:53 am #

The interplay between the solar radiation and the heat distribution of the oceans and wind is so little understood that messing with anything can be catastrophic.

We are in a heating cycle and it is similar to the Dust Bowl days of the 1930s. Longer term, the studies of the native folks of the Southwest show an ebb and flow of settlements due to tada, climate change. Long term effects that negate the BS that we are being handed by the alarmists.

        • BackRowHeckler July 22, 2023 at 3:36 am #

There is a whole long lists of destructive 19th century weather events I’ve uncovered too, including the 1860 Yangtze Rivier floods in China that claimed 5 million lives.

Reading about King Philip’s War (1675) in New England, one reads from soldier’s journals descriptions of damage still visible from
a devastating storm that struck eastern Mass. in 1630 — nearly ending English settlement of coastal towns on Cape Cod, including Plymouth.

          • Jarek July 22, 2023 at 1:07 pm #

Philbrick thinks that the weather was much colder back then, with Plymouth having the same weather then as coastal Maine has now.

I’ve been an adherent to our species likely playing a significant part of what change I have witnessed in my 70 odd (and I do mean odd!) years of observing from Alaska, including a good number of years in the Arctic and on the Arctic ocean itself, let alone having watched closely the recession of the glaciers on Alaska’s coasts.

The main problem of the thesis is we only started documenting the weather as climate right at the time (1875) of the coolest the earth had been in hundreds of thousands of years.

Our window of opportunity to get to where we are as a civilization coincides with the time the Earth is rebounding from a lengthy (in human scale) deep freeze.
What is in this 4:10 long video rewrote my way of looking at things.

The American man who did more than anyone to get the U.S. into the British-fomented war.

Yes, it’s said that the “Colonel” (who never served) had the ability to “pump” ideas into people’s head. They’d go to see him utterly opposed to him and leave thinking he was great and wondering what they ever had against him.

Here in Austin, there is still a high school football stadium named after the “good Colonel” It’s called House Park. It was built a long time ago. Probably the 1940s.

He was a piece of work. He was neo-con before neo-cons were cool. So was his boy, Woodrow.

The House will not approve any nominee of the Grifter-in-Chief

Actually, the northern & southern polar regions have been warming much faster than other regions of the world, and had started to many decades before the rest of the world .

It sounds totally counterintuitive of course. Most would mistakenly think the warming would commence in equatorial regions; simply not true.

This is scientifically known as ‘Arctic Amplification’, which was the sole reason for the initial research pertaining to global warming commening many decades ago at the poles; North Pole abd Greenland mostly.

There is very litlle established science pertaining to global warming that is not highly counterintuitive. ‘Arctic Anplification’ is a great example of that.

It has been scientifically proven the poles shift and the ice moves with that shift.
The axis of the planet moves as well.
Last one NASA has very good pictures of ice movements from both poles and the hysteria about ice melt off is in fact…bullshit.

Last the coronal mass ejection off of our sun has been off the charts as of late.
The sun heats our planet, the volcanoes erupting also help cool or warm the planet depending on what type of material is spit out.
Carbon dioxide is only an unproven theory.

True, however the nuts in charge have cherry picked data for thirty years.

        Two questions

What can be done that is effective? So far, the proposed changes will accomplish very little.

Will the changes being proposed by nuts such as Bill Gates have detrimental effects? Kinda like the Vaxx that was going to save us killing as many folks as it was going to save.

Can you imagine us putting seltzer into the atmosphere just in time for a solar minimum? It would be like the Little Ice Age in Europe after the I believe Tambora volcano loading up the atmosphere.

We are messing with things to assuage the egos of some rich nuts that could really back fire on Gaia.

        • MaryQueen July 22, 2023 at 12:56 pm #

They cherry-pick the stats a lot like they did when trying to convince the public that cigarettes were healthy for you. They were able to do that for what, 40-50 years?

The Obama/Hillary/Biden cabal don’t care that they are running the U.S. into the ground. Their whole strategy is not to win in 2024, it is to so destroy the Republic that they will rule by “Emergency Declarations” well before then. Their fervent hope is that disgruntled middle-class Americans finally get tired of the Democrat tyranny and revolt with an adequate level of violence for the Democrat cabal to institute Martial Law and suspend habeas corpus (what is left of habeas corpus that they haven’t de facto destroyed already).

The Democrat cabal’s ace in the hole is that they think that they have enough brainwashed, brainless, or government-dependent parasites who will vote “D” no matter who is on the ticket, no matter how evil, corrupt, criminal, or treasonous the candidate may be. They may be right–there are a lot of Democrat “tools”, sadly including likely half of the under 35-year-old Democrat voters. The minority of sane moderate or “old school” Democrats are leaving the Party in droves, but many hang on to their Democrat leanings in the vain hope that the Democrat Party will right itself–but it won’t.

To be clear, today’s Democrat Party is an ideological cesspool of all of the worst features of Fascist/Socialism and Communist/Socialism. It no longer has any connection to an American ideology–it is evil to the core. I don’t think of JHK as any kind of staunch conservative, but I applaud the fact the he now fully recognizes that we are facing true evil in the Democrat Party and that the U.S. can not survive as any form of Republic unless the Democrat Party is expunged from power and dismembered.

Best quote that I’ve read of late: “Conservatives hate it when their opponents tell lies about them; leftists hate it when their opponents tell the truth about them.”

      The irony there?

Aren’t the professional class libs, the suckers who vote for them and support them, and love to trumpet their “knowledge” & virtue-signaling wherever they go, the ones making themselves extinct?

They took all the jabs. They jabbed (sterilized, killed, maimed) their kids. They bought into the trans agenda and sterilized and maimed (maybe killed) their kids that way, too.

Looks like people of this mindset are locked in the most stupid death cult ever and determined to see it to its logical conclusion. Not only that, but they’ve welcomed the fringe pervs and crazies into their folds as equals, unheard of 20 years ago, to fuck up their childrens’ psyches so that once they reach adulthood they are more likely to be unproductive and stuck in arrested development, e.g., not fit to hold jobs or take care of themselves or maintain long term relationships.

The victim mindset sees to that. They will all be dependent on the whims of government and whatever hand-outs they are given. That will include more forced vaxxing, and shitty diets (bugs, etc.) and we all know the kind of “healthy” diet the government pushes. You’ll die of complications from diabetes if you follow their guidelines. Also, the finally cherry on top is the people from this group are also the biggest substance abusers (for obvious reasons), and sickest, with dependency on Big Pharma chemicals (at a high price) to stay alive or barely functioning.

That leaves more evolutionarily progressive people (with intact common sense) to survive, overall, IMHO.

      • Jarek July 22, 2023 at 1:20 pm #

Yes, extreme liberals, queers, and feminists have very few kids to begin with. With the help of the jab, they are a self correcting problem.

      • MrMangoOnMyShoulder July 23, 2023 at 10:25 am #

That leaves more evolutionarily progressive people (with intact common sense) to survive, overall, IMHO.

That would be a historically-equitable outcome (minus all the suffering and deaths of those we love who decide to play along).

But I guess it comes down to what unholy chimera they release next. If it’s pretty brutal, Bob’s your uncle and smoke ’em if you got ’em. Take that last trip to the lake before you go face down in your corn chowder.

Luckily, Bill Gates is there for us.

He stated in 2021 that “the next pandemic could be 10 times worse,” adding, “Stopping the next pandemic will require spending tens of billions of dollars a year”. Shocker he noted the financial cost, ol’ Bill. And nice perspective, while attempting to forcibly vaccinate the entire world population for its own good.

Some have recently suggested the next one will target children. I pray that is just fearmongering, otherwise a much larger percentage of people will go along with whatever the government (per Uncle Gates) “recommends”. Don’t mess with kids, man. People won’t see straight…considerably less straight than they did during the cold/flu theater of 2020.

        • MaryQueen July 23, 2023 at 10:57 pm #

Like before, they wouldn’t actually release a real virus.

Because that could kill them, and their kids. And we can’t have that.

All they need is a marketing campaign and fearmongering like last time.

People are already primed. Well, the ones that still don’t get it.

After 2 years of intense Khmer Rouge brainwashing and “MindFuckery” (JHK’s term), Hiang S. Ngor eventually came to enjoy the arduous work of planting rice and farming, and he became an accomplished proficient thief who kept his mouth shut because of a deep unabiding terror and fear of death. For the Buddhist Hiang, his Dream was to be reincarnated as a dog in America.

Hiang’s wife’s “American Dream” was to have “lots of babies” which is now at loggerheads with the big push for Population Control.

I wonder where the people are now mentally after all of the brainwashing? They seem afraid to say anything that might be deemed “Offensive”….

I read that in UK public schools now the UK teachers have to recognize the delusions of students who identify as dogs and cats. What happens if the British dogs start chasing the British cats around the classroom?

“ ‘Sweet,’ I said so carefully that even Huoy could barely hear, ‘I want to go to America.’ We turned our heads so her mouth was next to my ear. ‘You’re crazy,’ she said.

We turned our heads again. ‘I know,’ I said into her ear. ‘But we’ve got to go there someday.’ Som’s lessons had started me thinking about America. Plenty of food there. A very developed country. In America, dams were built with real concrete, houses actually had electricity, skyscrapers were real. Heavy work was done with bulldozers and tractors. It was a place as different from Cambodia as heaven is from hell. ‘I’d rather be a dog in America than a human being in Cambodia,’ I added.

Huoy’s fingertips found my temple, pushed gently, and her lips spoke into my ear. ‘How do you know?’ said Huoy. ‘You’ve never even been outside of Cambodia.’ ‘I just know. Let me dream in peace, will you?’

As I closed my eyes, I imagined what it would be like to be an American dog. How wonderful. Human hands would reach down to pat me and brush my fur. They wouldn’t beat me or torture me. My owner would put plenty of food in my dish, and I could eat whenever I wanted. If I got sick they would take me to a veterinarian. I wouldn’t even have to work.

‘Do you want to know my dream?’ Huoy whispered sleepily. ‘To open a pastry shop,’ I said. ‘Well, first I want babies. When the regime is overturned I want to make lots and lots of babies and raise them with you in a nice house, with plenty to eat. But when the children are old enough to go to school I will open a sweet shop. I just want to cook food and have good things to eat and live in a city.’

‘I’d still rather be a dog in America,’ I said.”

I HAD WANTED TO WRITE a lengthy preface to explain my position and
show that this is no wild-eyed dream; that even if the specific action, symbolic
as it is, may seem farfetched, the fact remains that we are inevitably heading for
something of the sort. We need only glance at the awesome population figures
predicted for the year 2000, i.e., twenty-eight years from now: seven billion
people, only nine hundred million of whom will be white.
But what good would it do?
I should at least point out, though, that many of the texts I have put into my
characters’ mouths or pens—editorials, speeches, pastoral letters, laws, news
stories, statements of every description—are, in fact, authentic. Perhaps the
reader will spot them as they go by. In terms of the fictional situation I have
presented, they become all the more revealing.

Phew! just in time did President Biden appoint a new Chief of Naval Operations, Lisa Franchetti, a grandmother with a background in journalism.

Just in time? Russia has announced a blockade of Black Sea Ports, are dropping mines all over the place … increasing the chances of Naval engagement with NATO forces with the intensity not seen since 1944. Additionally China has deployed a fleet in the Taiwan Straits, where it appears a clash with the US Navy is inevitable. Combine this appointment with the new Joint Chief of Staff honcho replacing General Milley whose main concern appears to be implementing ‘Social Justice’ in the US Armed Forces … you might say this isn’t the force that defeated Imperial Japan in 1945.

The high temperatures during the 1930’s in the dust bowl may have been caused by farming practices desiccating the landscape, some ocean temperature abnormalities and just random climate fluctuation.

How was the temperature on a global scale around 1936?

Counting this year, all eight of the top eight hottest years on record will have occurred since 2015, and global records go back to the 1880’s.

        1. There is nothing we can do about it if the same standard of living is to be maintained.

        2. We will not give up that standard of living without a fight.

        3. It may not be humans at all, many other potentials of change may be happening that have been IDed and ignored.

        5. What has been done to help adapt to higher temps. We need more electrical generation for EVs, right? How about for air conditioning? How about letting the rising shoreline drive people away from the heat islands formed on the coast. ( Remember that the northern hemisphere concentration of city heat islands may be a primary cause of the warming of the North Polar region.)

        • Anthea July 22, 2023 at 10:42 pm #

          @ Night Owl:

You are absolutely correct. “Global Warming” is like covid: completely fake and based on falsified data. I’m a little embarrassed that I used to believe in it. That was in the 80s, when we had a series of very hot summers, the summer of 1988 setting records for heat not seen since the 1930s. (The ’30s were a bit hotter for a bit longer.) That was the reason I fell for it, for a time; it was really hot for awhile there.

‘scientists pusing this narrative are identical to those who pushed the covid narrative. They’ve been repeatedly caught falsifying data and apparently have a talent for “losing” the data that supports the narrative–or simply refusing to provide it. Also, as with the people pushing the covid narrative, they’re “on the payroll”–a bunch of government shills. Many scientists believe that we’re entering a period of global cooling.

1815 & 1869 storms estimated to be Cat 4 Hurricanes strike the US east coast. Drought conditions in the 1840s in New England, and massive flooding in Ct in 1853.

What caused all that? In the days before everything was the fault of Climate Change, Systemic Racism, & White Supremacy? Even by the 1630s educated people in New England & Virginia, which was the majority, understood to a certain extent weather patterns, and storms were not caused by making God angry.

Sure, when the stats are cherry-picked and outliers aren’t factored in, or they are, disproportionately, you can really create buy-in for the GND, huh?

Sadly for you, there are plenty of very smart people who see right through it on the right side of science.

I’ve heard though that temperature records are generally skewed warmer because of the urban heat island effect and the fact that most recording stations are located in populated urban areas. I’ve even read in some places that rural recording locations are reporting stable or sometimes even falling temperatures.

Just compare how much area is under blacktop today compared to 1900. Remember too that as the white ice cover retreats from the poles, and it is, it retreats earlier every year from temperate regions, which allows larger darker areas to heat up.

Again, cars and electricity do not do one damn thing to address this.

Phoenix is starting to put in the equivalent of “cool decks” for its sidewalks. Small bit but a positive effect.

Most of humanity is in temperate latitudes in the northern hemisphere. Think about this, if all but 500000000 people died tomorrow there would still be the heat islands to keep melting the ice.

        Eff you, Bill Gates.

Nobel Prize-Winning Physicist Resigns Over Global Warming

    Published January 8, 2015

The global warming theory left him out in the cold.

Dr. Ivar Giaever, a former professor with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the 1973 winner of the Nobel Prize in physics, abruptly announced his resignation Tuesday, Sept. 13, from the premier physics society in disgust over its officially stated policy that “global warming is occurring.”

The official position of the American Physical Society (APS) supports the theory that man’s actions have inexorably led to the warming of the planet, through increased emissions of carbon dioxide.

Giaever does not agree — and put it bluntly and succinctly in the subject line of his email, reprinted at Climate Depot, a website devoted to debunking the theory of man-made climate change.

“I resign from APS,” Giaever wrote.

Giaever was cooled to the statement on warming theory by a line claiming that “the evidence is incontrovertible.”

“In the APS it is ok to discuss whether the mass of the proton changes over time and how a multi-universe behaves, but the evidence of global warming is incontrovertible?” he wrote in an email to Kate Kirby, executive officer of the physics society.

    • MaryQueen July 22, 2023 at 3:07 pm #

Do not cop out by saying you just won’t vote.

          • Ron Anselmo July 22, 2023 at 10:00 pm #

JAZ – with all due respect, help me out. You promote the reality that we live in a Uniparty system, which I agree with you 100%.

But you also promote voting as if it matters and will make a difference, because we have a choice between two different parties. I’m confused.

Personally, I see not two parties, but two opposing groups – them and us, i.e., an evil, hubris-filled, narcissistic elite and you & me. Voting will not change that.

They need to be taken out, top down, simple as that.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder July 23, 2023 at 1:42 pm #

And then they will be replaced with…?

Most coups/revolutions end with the “good guys” taking charge and then immediately becoming the sort of people they fought to overthrow, yes?

We had a lucky hand in our revolution of having a stock of highly educated, principled leaders taking the helm, most of them personally invested in the war operation and the subsequent transition, warts and all.

Who would possibly fill shoes such as theirs today? And more importantly, who would listen to them even if they existed?

          • JohnAZ July 23, 2023 at 2:58 pm #

            Ron Anselmo

            Here goes.

            Yes, Uniparty.

How to break that up, how to tear down the Uniparty, Deep State hold on the country.

Certainly not by putting the Mob behind Biden back in office.

The vote has very little impact right now. Trump’s election was a real blow to the advance of the Clinton Uniparty thrust. Unfortunately, when he tried to shift priorities in a conservative direction, the entire Deep State Uniparty descended on him and “cancelled his stamp”.

So again though! My question is,

Is it better to re elect Biden or put Trump back in, to control the descent into Uniparty totalitarianism?

            IMHO, there is no choice.

Remember when the USSR had elections, China too, and the vote would be 95% for the incumbent? Well, that is where we are headed.

Biden or Trump? On this blog, the choice is obvious, IMO.

          • Ron Anselmo July 23, 2023 at 10:28 pm #

JAZ – thanks. OK, I see the distinction you’re making, and yes, Trump was an unseen disruptor – sand in the Deep State’s gears.

So, would I like to see sand in their gears again? Absolutely. So, Trump over any Democrat or RINO.

However, it’s time to get on with it. I repeat. They need to be taken out, top down, simple as that. Over.

We need our own media. Trump should start his own network perhaps, if only a streaming one. They wouldn’t let him anywhere near the lineage “airwaves”.

        • SoftStarLight July 23, 2023 at 3:15 pm #

He definitely should do that but in reality if it was our media then even that may not represent us completely. For example, I would like an immigration moratorium for the basic foreseeable future. What better way to help the environment, right? Among other things for which I am certain you can argue. But I think Trump will still want some level of immigration. So even if better than the current situation still a concern and not a full solution.

A newbs reaction; I mean, better late than never, amirite?

I have just watched Garland Nixon’s brilliant forensic analysis of the Hunter Biden/Joe Biden monumental corruption where Ukraine is concerned. It is absolutely a must watch. It left me shocked, disgusted and realising that the President of the USA, FBI Agents, Officers of the DOJ, CIA agents and politicians such as Mitt Romney immediately be arrested and remanded in custody. The scale of the corruption is off the charts.

I believe the scandal is just the tip of the Iceberg. The FBI DOJ an other USA Institutions covered up information from the Laptop, evidence visual and audio from a Senior Executive Board Member of Burisma and the shocking way the FBI and CIA covered all this up with the help of Social Media including Twitter before Musk’s day, how they fabricated documents etc.

What is in absolutely no doubt whatsoever though, is that Biden’s increasing escalation in Ukraine and increasing delusional levels of funding for them is completely, thoroughly and comprehensively linked to the corruption, mafia like corruption in fact, which feeds Biden’s obsession with his son and Ukraine. It covers up the most substantial, unequivocal, damning levels of corruption and abuse of power Biden perpetrated.

The Broadcast is shocking. How USA Politicians have not demanded his immediate resignation and arrest is stunning whilst the now exposed totally corrupt FBI DOJ and CIA attempt to charge Trump with ridiculous charges. They should be focussing on the real criminal corruption, and I might add, Organised Crime and Racketeering crimes, that Biden presides over. I hope the good citizens of the USA get out on the streets and demand the arrest and remand into custody of these utterly corrupt, immoral, evil people.

Amen, Paula. Garland is on fire and eviscerating the deserving Fibbies so righteously. In a previous era there would be thousands, if not tens of thousands of protestors in front of the J Edgar Hoover building calling these rotters out.

We’ve let them get away with not only murder(s), but an ongoing corruption scandal now that had its putative genesis in 2015, but has not relented even after a series of exposures of their DNC collusion going back to that date. They are a full service part of the Democratic party. They even had an office nook in Perkins Coie, the DNC’s law firm.
Little lies begetting bigger lies, small scandals not prosecuted have become rapidly the monster which we now see before us today.
