After two double rounds of Democratic Party debates, one thing is for sure: the characters onstage are followers, not leaders, and they’re following each other off a cliff like so many Wile E. Coyotes, while the Golden Golem of Greatness streaks, beeps, and tweets across the buzzard flats below like the fabled Roadrunner.

In an epic and bizarre case of mimesis, the Democratic Party is mau-mauing itself into America’s political slum, complete with a rank-and-file demographic dependent on government largesse and an infestation of bad ideas, like the scurrying rats and cockroaches of the ghettos they pander to so relentlessly. The candidates themselves are so terrified of being a few syllables away from getting branded with the scarlet “R” on their foreheads — according to the rules of Wokesterism — that they blindly submit to any idiotic Simon Says command, such as raising their hands in support of free medical services for illegal immigrants, to signal their racial uprightness and sensitivity.

How are the actual city ghettos and their denizens doing after half a century of Democratic Party rescue operations? Not so well, the Golden Golem averred last week about Baltimore, igniting a firestorm of grievance and objurgation from the political ghetto. Isn’t the point exactly that the people, and the place where they live, are not doing any better despite decades of federal programs, household assistance, affirmative action, and every other attempt to (theoretically) improve their existence? And isn’t the heart of the matter the desperate shame and chagrin of Democrats that none of this has worked?

It hasn’t worked… so, do more of it! That’s the Democratic Party’s neurotic strategy for winning the hearts and minds of this republic. Driving men out of households via the welfare rules that don’t allow “a man in the house,” and destroying family formation wasn’t bad enough. The Democratic party has spent the past three years vilifying and demonizing men and their “toxic masculinity,” and retailing the insane multiplication of “genders’ in a bad faith attempt to manufacture sexual “diversity” — with the net effect of negating all previous understandings of the relations between men and women. Newsflash: that’s not going to work, either.

The shriekings of “racism” aren’t helping much anymore. Few observers have missed the fact that the city of Baltimore has been run by an African American city hall (Mayor, Police Chief, District Attorney) for many years, with over a billion dollars in additional federal assistance. So, if political power is the answer, how’s that working out? Add some extra shrieking about “white privilege” to explain the situation? How does “white privilege” explain the fact that 86 percent of kids in Baltimore primary schools can’t read and 89 percent can’t do arithmetic to grade level? This, despite the fact that at $15,564 per pupil, Baltimore is fourth highest-spending per student of the 100 largest school districts in the nation, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Maybe becoming the party of a national race hustle isn’t such a good idea. The race hustle is wearing out its welcome in American politics, and the more the Democratic Party resorts to race hustling as its chief strategy, the sooner the party will go extinct. That is, if it doesn’t incite some kind of civil war first. Cue the cry, “That’s racist!”

Maybe there is a whole range of human values and human behaviors that have nothing to do with race — like reading to small children and helping them learn the English language so they don’t grow into adults who have to say “know what I mean?” every other sentence because they’ve barely acquired enough language skill themselves to know what they mean. Maybe there’s something called an American common culture that contains values and behaviors worth emulating rather than opposing. Maybe “multiculturalism” wasn’t such a good idea after all. Maybe ghetto culture is not such a precious foundation for a successful life. Maybe the Democratic Party should move out of the ghetto it’s built for itself.

    I recommend each Dem candidate says the above often at each debate. Try to “out ghetto” one another.

      Here in Detroit, even the rich keep it real, or at least appreciate those who do.

      I had a different reaction to the debates, which was to find drinks for the candidates who didn’t make the stage. The first one was suggested by reader SoftStarLight, who suggested Everclear jello shots, which I assigned to Mike Gravel. I think that’s better than the alternative. Did anyone here know that the unofficial cocktail of Alaska is called the duck fart?

          Understand that the true brilliance of this idiomatic usage comes when you’re making a statement of fact, yet still add yo at the end to form a question. Like this…

          I’ll pop a cap in yo ass!, yo?

          It’s almost like the Islamic tradition of adding inshallah to everything.

            I had a visiting teacher of Arabic as an ESL student some years back – a Saudi sent to Indonesia to better enable the locals to read their holy Sears’ catalog of DOs and DON’Ts in the original language (as though the Qur’an, any less than the Old Testicle, is anything more than a thieving magpie – I’ve even read that Islam is in fact an offshoot of Judaism). This Saudi – quite a sweet guy, in fact, in spite of where he came from – opined ‘There are two versions of “In Sha Allah”: the original, which means “Only God knows and He will decide” and the Indonesian “In Sha Allah” which means “Forget it – never happen”.

            I suspect that it is often used to wiggle out of making a statement of belief or a decision.

    The real problem with the Democratic Party is that it’s the party of urban coastal “top twenty-percenters” of the professional and managerial classes. The past thirty years have a been a s’mores and grape soda party for them, and they expect people who weren’t invited to that little party to be enthusiastic about keeping them in s’mores and grape soda indefinitely. All that other stuff is just a chiffon-thin veneer designed to conceal the party’s abject abandonment of the working class. I don’t expect any of this to end well at all, which is why I don’t get hot and bothered anymore about whatever flavor of Kool-Aid people on the Internet choose to drink these days.

      Their abandonment of blue-collar workers is due to a calculation several years ago to sacrifice a large part of their traditional base in favor of pursuing an ever-larger pool of Hispanics, blacks, gays, and other “oppressed” people. This led to Trump’s election. Trump is an abrasive, lying blowhard, but his schtick is exposing the lies and corruption in both parties. For all of us who have wanted someone to get into office and show us how we’re getting screwed, we finally have our guy — even if he swears, lies, and can’t keep his pants up. But is that actually worse than someone with a gleaming public image and a way of speaking down to people in a way that makes them think he’s a great orator, or who points to years of service as a legislator as evidence he’d be any kind of leader? For better or worse, it’s GGG vs. 25 or so nimrods who have as much business being President as I have trying to fly a fully-loaded 747.

    I find it amusing how JHK lights into the Democrats which by the way is spot on. How is it he is still a Democrat is beyond me? I personally have no party affiliation and have never voted as I can’t stand politicians and centralized Government.

    One of your best ever Jim. I was forced to listen to Rap Music ( it’s not really music, more like monotone rhymes) for about 3 hours one day because I rode in a co-workers car to visit a job site. Here was the gist of message in every “tune”: I’ve overcome all the naysayers. I will be seriously violent if you mess with me. I have material things I acquired from rapping, now I’m somebody. Women are trouble but can serve a quick purpose with no emotional connection, the “b” word is used frequently occasionally the word ‘Ho’. Then there is the “n” word used throughout. This is mainstream entertainment, the co-worker age 30 and hispanic is seemingly happily married. I asked if we could switch to a classic rock station he obliged but seemed completely devoid of comprehension of actual melody…etc.

            The volume increases as you center in to VCU or Gilpin Court (little Baltimore), an interesting paradox. However, out here in Ashland, sounds more like crickets and tree frogs, at least this time of year. I am thankful for that.

      Often when I’m in a very upper class white area I’ll hear gangsta rap booming from a car. I’ll look over and it’s some lily white spoiled rotten teen, or car full of lily white spoiled rotten teens. I know “they think they down wid it. Keepin it real in da hood.”

      A buddy of mine has a 17 year old son who has actually recorded some rap with two of his friends. I have to hand it to these honkies, it sounds very authentic. Typical gangsta rap beat and groove. They have it down. Of course there’s an F word ever other word. Bitches….ho’s all throughout.

      Of course my buddy, the father, is an idiot. He’s actually proud of them, even though rap is not his kind of “music”. I told him what I think of it. Not that it matters.

      Stick a fork in ‘Murica. It’s done.

        I’ve run a lot of higher end pick up basketball with boyz from da hood. That is when you begin to understand race and figuring out how to get along and deliver respect, not driving around in your parents car a gangsta wannabee. Wrong move or words in a mostly african american pick-up game and I am Caucasian, 6’4” and 210 lbs, lot of trouble on your hands.

            I had a dream. It turned into a nightmare. I saw this giant melting pot, and it became a rotten stew and it boiled over. I tried to flush it, but the toilet backed up and it spilled all over the floor, then ran thru the cracks and into the basement where it festers. My optimistic scenario of the future is that the military steps in and declares indefinite martial law at some point out of sheer necessity.         Very hard when the ‘constituents’ think the world is their ashtray and trash can’. There is a ‘mentality’ that says if you place trash in the proper receptacle you are ‘stealing’ a job from a trash picker-upper.
        Hence, no end to ‘trashing the site’.

            Do the documents you speak of have the power to deal with the current population or are they, as Adams said, “wholly inadequate” and there is an Emergency in our future?

      1. Tell the cops to enforce “quality of life issues” and be prepared for the consequences.

      2.)Treat consequences of #1 in a manner harsh.

      3)Insofar as is possible, always team up a white officer with a black one.

      4)Repeal or not enforce truancy laws…work towards making the schools a privilege , not an obligation. Require school uniforms, provide the uniforms, if necessary. Reinstate corporal punishment, to be administered by the football/basketball coaches. Require grades and test scores to be publicly posted. Shame the mediocre.

      5)Expand or develop work farms for the indolent youth who will invariably fall into the hands of the system.

      You will note that everything above is doable at the local level…if the pols have the balls to do so…fight the court orders with the city coffers…hire more city lawyers…ty ’em up in court for years….

    Instead of focusing on the brown subset of the lower classes (divide and conquer the biggest group of voters), it would be smarter to restore the jobs those classes used to depend on – manufacturing. Globalization was just a tactic the financial elite used to do an end run around hard won protections for workers and the environment. Forget tariffs, we need to halt trade with China as quickly and completely as possible, otherwise we are just helping arm an authoritarian regime that wants to project it’s will globally. If China becomes the next hyper power, despite all our sins, the time of US dominance will seem like the good old days in retrospect.     The real problem is that in the cities the small businesses that used to be everywhere have been driven out of business by the big boxes. There is no ownership to a neighborhood.

    To rehabilitate the cities, the people in the cities, the men have to rebuild the small business base. The government does not have a clue. One huge problem is that with liberal give away programs and lousy schools, the folks involved have a tough time making it happen.

    When I visited Rome, I was surprised at the dominance of the small businesses everywhere.

    The US needs to rebuild the center cities from the bottom up, giving these areas a purpose. Otherwise, the cancers will keep spreading. What will happen when the retail collapse continues and the suburban malls start closing? Will suburbia start to rot from within too.

    Dems, take the money you are wasting, and create enterprise zones, teach folks how to run local businesses, give them start up tax breaks, convince them that big box stores are an anathema in their neighborhoods, get the parents to get involved in the schools and get the Feds out, stop your damn “the government will take care of you” routine. When you do it, you lie! Dependence is the problem.

    GOP, this is supposed to be part of your credo, but you lie too.

    City folks, you have to do it yourself because the elites that run both parties do no care. Trump is correct about Baltimore and the Feds, but I do not see him doing one single thing about it. The Dems are there to rip you off. It will take generations to pull yourself up, but you really have no choice, The alternative is oblivion.

    This is not unique to democrats. It is actually the standard reaction of idéologues who need to face the failure of their dogma when put in practice in the real world. Say you have an ideology that states that all evil comes from the oppression of the working class by capitalists and private property of the means of production. So you remove evil from the world by ending private property of the means of production and… fairly soon, things start to turn sour. People start to mumble among themselves. A pragmatic would assess and backtrack but you are too completely involved in the dogma and its implementation to admit failure. So you try to paper over the failure with propaganda campaigns in all media, and blaming the problems on saboteurs, agents of the bourgeois order on pay of foreign forces, and incomplete implementation of the dogma. You double down on policy, encourage witch hunts of the ennemies of mankind and put the population into mandatory political training. But the more you appply the dogma, the worse things get and soon enough things start to really crumble and people to flee the utopian paradise. Things only get darker and darker, at that point the revolution can only be saved by the iron fist of a security apparatus, the skeptics are put into reeducation camps…

      I think you brought up the point a while back that the “decision loops” of these parties aren’t tight enough. Even if the long emergency is by definition long, it’s comprised of day-to-day events that overwhelm the capacity of traditional, national parties to react. And they can’t stay on top of discussions that go on given the widespread use of social media. No more will we have main evening news shows dictating the flow of news and the pace of water-cooler talk. At least until the internet or parts of it go dark.

      Entropy works on human organizations just like it works on other things in this matrix we call reality. Disaggregation will take its toll on the two parties. Time? It’s always against us and it manifests itself by an arrow – past to future. The nature of time may be slippery but in my mind it is two things, the distance between events (as opposed to space which is the distance between objects). And it is a “direction” (sometimes called a dimension) in which we travel whether we like it or not at a speed determined by the laws of physics.

      The two parties failed to understand the nature of time or give in any heed. Like everyone else and every other object in this universe they are propelled along the time-line. They think they have forever? They don’t. And by the looks of it, they will be bug-splat on the wind-shield of oncoming events. Bye-bye.

        I don’t see the internet lasting beyond a situation in which energy delivery is intermittent. The server farms will become too expensive and difficult to operate and maintain. So one of the first things to go will be weapons of mass distraction like Twitter, FB, and the rest of the (anti-)social media.

        Consider. When the big question of the day is “how do I avoid the bad temper of the psycho local boss”, how many people are really going to be interested in BS-ing with a faceless entity on the other side of what used to be the USA? When one’s “work” consists of pulling 12- or 16-hour sentry duty for the local town or whatever, the sheer overwhelming reality of such activity will of nature push thoughts of discussion with distant strangers out of mind. Given enough time and disturbing events, one will come to think of anything ‘strange’ or ‘foreign’ as a likely opponent or threat of some kind.

        I think the dilemma with decision loops will right itself once the instantaneous feedback of social media and 24/7 (supposed) “news” disappears for lack of resources. The “news” at that point will be mostly local, maybe for big events, something occurring within beyond the borders of the county. At that pace, the local ruler(s) will have more time to think and adapt.

        Of course, under such circumstances, a national entity might survive (unlikely IMO) or re-emerge from a collapse. We had a functional federal government before railroads or automobiles existed. My guess, though, is any re-emergence will be shaped by a long period of conflict, and whatever forms thereafter will bear only passing resemblance to what was once the USA.

        The Dems and Repubs will IMO disappear. At the local level, there will only be party politics in areas where power is diffuse enough between different groups to motivate the formation of political parties. Many areas will simply have a “boss of bosses” and his rules will be what passes for governance.

        What I think is the real question is how long it will take for such a degradation of government and society to occur. Notable as well that not all areas will experience decay at the same rate. Raiders, looters, and plunderers … oh my!

    In particular, state aid to the underprivileged, under Roosevelt designed to create a system of social elevators and a middle class expansion mechanism, under Truman began to turn into a Welfare State system that blocks social elevators and turns poor people into lifelong clients of social security.

    First of all, it should be noted that those segments of American society that were hardest hit by Senator McCarthy’s activities were historically linked to the education and culture system – the main engines of social elevators – and the United States has not yet recovered from this blow, despite all the efforts of the following Presidents.

    But the most difficult consequence of this confrontation was the bureaucratization of urban development programs. In addition, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, which were the inevitable consequence of the Cold War, devastated the Treasury and cut the budgets of these projects, practically disrupting the Roosevelt development programs for American cities, overcrowded with black workers who had moved to military factories during the World War Two.

    In particular, in order to save money, the Federal Housing Administration has cut down the infrastructure of children’s institutions and educational programs, as well as places for recreation and sports in places like Pruitt-Igoe project.

    Buildings of different heights were thrown out of the project, and only standardized eleven-story buildings were left, creating a prison, psyche-destroying landscape.

    The number of stairs and elevators was reduced by making the number of apartments for one corridor more than 30, which precludes the formation of a community of neighbors, or at least knowing the neighbors on the landing in person, allowing distinguishing strangers from residents of the building.

    In addition, the elevators did not stop on each floor, which, combined with the drug culture of youth groups, led to the fact that the journey from the elevator doors to the apartment doors began to demand courage comparable to the courage of the heroic pilot of the Second World African American Wendell O. Pruitt, after whom the project received its name.

      Hey Finc I recently watched this short vid and thought of you. This guy, Thomas Le Roy, his the originator of this group called ‘Sect of the Horned God’. He is an old Anton LaVey satanist, but left that organization because it became to “liberal and social justice warrior-y” for him. Not kidding. That’s what he says.

      Anyway, LaVeyan satanists are in actuality atheists. They don’t believe in an actual deity Satan. It’s all metaphor and such. But I digress.

    A common treatise of JHK is the lack of a common culture to unify the US.

    Think about it, is there a common culture.

    There is a legal one, bound together by the rule of law and the Constitution. This tie that binds is weakening rapidly as various entities are abusing the sanctity of both.

    The US started as a Caucasian culture, specifically an English one. Even today, the core of our culture is English, with our judicial system based on English Common Law. For a long colonial period, this set of colonies were English. An influx of Black slaves were introduced which affected the culture slightly but the domination of slavery left the country English

    Then the revolution happened, The US was not beholden to the English any more.

    Then the National Road was done, the Erie Canal was done and the Louisiana Purchase was done and the US was three times the area it was. How are we going to get population to these wilderness areas.

    Obvious answer. Immigration, at first from Europe then everywhere. During the early 1800s, it was predominantly Caucasian, what ever that means. English are different from Italian who are different from Spanish that are different from Germans that are different from Russians etc. The culture started to become multi-dimensional but still European.

    The Civil War brought in the Black culture more and more. All aspects of the American Culture were affected by Black trends.

    Then Texas and the Mexican war brought in the rich contributions from the Latin cultures.

    Wow, what a blend of cultures. So what is the Common Culture? It is all of them.

    So what is the problem? The problem is that none of the contributors want to enjoy the broad spectrum of or Common Culture. Each group wants their culture installed as the Dominant Common Culture. Blacks want Black, Latinos want Latino, Asians want Asian etc.

    In the 1800s the Italians fought for Italian control, the Irish for Irish etc.

    So what about a Common Culture. What is it going to take?

    Number one is acceptance by all of Rule By Law and the Constitution.

    Number two is the acceptance of the basic core of Caucasian trends. Whites still outnumber everyone else and the ambition of their culture is what has made this country exceptional.

    Number three is the English language.

    Number four is the acknowledgement as US civics as the law of the land. If people come to the US they assimilate into American culture, and definitely do not try to subvert it. Subversion is grounds for deporting.

    Think about what is happening now and yes, encouraged by the Deep State.

    Everyone is trying to become King Tut. The division of the country is being encouraged by the Deep State, yes both sides, in order to maintain power. In the US, King Tut is our Constitution, our American identity, our Flag, the National Anthem, The pledge of Allegiance.

    If you belittle these sumbols you are belittling America thus you are belittling everyone else who is not you and who believes what you believe.

    Ethnocentrism is what is tearing the US apart as the Deep State negates everything that ties us together.

    We are Americans, number one, not Afro-Americans, or Mexican- Americans, not Chinese Americans. What is it going to take to knock the separation down? The key question for the future of the country.

      The Class Tyrants of Capitalism substituted race for class – and the Left went along with it completely thus negating themselves. Anyway, even if you could overcome the racial divide (you can’t because it’s vast and real), the fundamental problem of the Class Tyrants would still be there.

      As Marx (he was right sometimes you know) said, Modern Capitalism centralizes Capital and therefore power and influence. You constantly conflate early, middle, and late Capitalism. Kunstler is for early or thinks it inevitable. Are you for middle and want to use Big Government (because that’s what it will take) to control the late (Corporations)? Only that would make sense. As to whether it can be done at this “late” hour is another story. The Unions sole out as well. Ditto the Churches. Ditto the Big Environmentalists like Wendell Berry – who really should know better. They support open borders too.

    Language evolves. It would be just as easy for an Anglo-Saxon to make fun of modern white American English. Old English, spoken between the 5th and 12th century in areas of what is now England and Southern Scotland, is a precursor of the Modern English language.

The majority of white Americans would probably not understand even proper King’s English, but the misunderstanding of older forms, or of newer emerging forms, is not a reason to make fun of white Americans or Black Americans. Americans are doing the best they can. So I cut white Americans some slack when it comes to their language deficiencies.

    The MSM is at it again, including Fox. There is a count up on the number of Democrats in the House are going to vote for an impeachment inquiry. Two by three on a daily report. They just passed 50% today. Huh? Only 50% of Democrats. Gee, maybe they are watching the debates and wondering if they are going to endanger their chances of re-election. Most of the increase in the House were Moderates.

    I wish they would just get it over with. The chances of removal are zero. There is no evidence for impeachment in the first place. It will give the Dems another chance to demonstrate how foolish a group of clowns they are.

    Bring on 2020. My only question is who are the Dems going to nominate when the current crop self ignite.

    Christian literacy: Orthodoxy, Judaism, Gnosticism and Satanism

    In Russia, a very interesting situation has developed at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries: a group was formed in the Orthodox Church that declared Judaism the main anti-Christian force, after which it was the group that played the most important role in defeating Russian Athos, the organization of the February Revolution and the collapse of the Orthodox Russian Empire.

    And couple of months back I had a good laugh when I accidentally tuned in on some talk show where they talked about Lenin’s role in the history of the 20th century, and Lenin’s supporters quite reasonably noticed that Lenin had nothing to do with the February revolution and the collapse of Russian Empire, and his opponents, without denying this undeniable fact, answered that it did not matter and Lenin was to blame for everything, because after the death of his brother he always wanted the collapse of the empire and even took 50 million marks from the German Emperor.

    However, this is indeed a very difficult issue and it is impossible to consider it within the framework of the educational post, and I mentioned these facts because the state that Lenin built was certainly atheistic and denied all religions, including Satanism, and paganism and Judaism, but after his death Satanism in the form of Marcionism nevertheless penetrated the USSR through the people surrounding Lev Davidovich Trotsky (Yes, Janos, he was also Bronstein).

    Marcion, born 50 years after the foundation of the Church, founded his church on the basis of opposing the Gd of the Old Testament (I specifically wrote in accordance with Marcion, who considered Gd the Creator of the lower, fallen world) to Jesus Christ as the God of the New Testament and the creator of the upper world. This church was subsequently split into two sects – those who began to worship Jesus Christ, or better to say Yeshua Ga-Notsri and began to call themselves true Christians or simply good people, and those who began to worship the God of the Old Testament as the Demiurge of the lower world, but in fact God, invented by Marcion, later became known as satanists – I specifically write this word with a small letter to emphasize that in the Old Testament Satan is not a name, it is an occupation.

    As a result of all this confusion, modern Americans who have not received Church education do not completely distinguish these concepts of Satanism and anti-Christianity, and then, having mixed them well, equate this mixture with modern Judaism, and all this becomes an instrument of destruction not of Judaism, but of the Christian Church in the West.

    Altho, Curtis Jackson — aka 50 cent — lived in the neighborhood for a few years, I talked to him a few times. He was low key, well spoken, polite, a good neighbor. Better than Tyson. Which makes me think the whole gangsta, hip hop schtik is a scam devised by recording company executives to seperate the ignorant and gullible from what little money thay have. Of course some of them really are gangstas — Tupac, Biggy Smalls — but they usually end up in an early grave.

    Bottom line is that you want a free enterprise system with very few supports for the disenfranchised ghetto bound flotsam & jetsam of society whilst the Democrats are rightfully arguing that the job of government is to provide the social programming that they are indeed providing.

    Now lets look at the Hobbesian Brutes in the Republican Party that would promote a no-FREE shit paradigm where the average American citizen would be livid at the disenfranchisement levied upon their indentured into servitude existence as Feudal Serfs forced to walk in lockstep with knuckle-draggers in the Republican Party that don’t give a rat’s arse about the lower echelons of society that you seem to not want to assist with living whilst you know damn well that they live hand-to-mouth as most do at the lower levels of indentured servitude.

      Baltimore is a black-majority city with a black mayor and mostly black leadership—just as you’d expect from a black-majority electorate voting for blacks. So what is this disenfranchisement you speak of? Are you talking about the minority whites in Baltimore?

        The USA advertises itself as the gold mountain to the third world. If illegal immigrants are filing into the USA it is their right to vote given that they sure as hell ain’t going back to where they came from. Moreover, would you leave the USA if you were escaping the third world?

        Go to an old country town dump some day and you will see the animals that exist off of the accumulated waste. Go to San Fran and you will see the same thing. If the USA Government wanted to make cities less condensed they would have built them that way. American cities are suffering from the Liberal building era of infil & intensification programmes for municipal level building which just makes cities look like a mass of cement.

        Greenspace is where it’s at, baby.

        Cities just plain suck for noise & pollution. I like to think in quiet space so I can concentrate & focus. Cities & city noise is distracting to thought & contemplation. The noise pollution where I live is pretty bad near the main freeway. It’s a constant irritation for me for sure.

      Things got out of control a long time ago, Unions got busted, jobs offshored. I remember, they told us it was coming. The USA would become a service economy. Let the lackeys do the heavy lifting.

      If any real leader had any balls and take a page from FDR, do an NRA and rebuild the infrastructure, a jobs program to put everyone to work. Start in the inner city and train the useless to become usefull.
      Give them a paycheck and teach them to repair the damage.

            But I cannot imagine any story to explain such a seemingly impossible scenario.

            Among the thousands of data points and evidence there are numerous quite simple realities that explicitly explain how industrial human society is living on borrowed time.         I think that the French strategy at the outbreak of WWI was constant “Attack”. In the first month of WWI, the French suffered around 250,000 casualties versus the Germans’ 60,000 casualties.

        It seems like the military planners tend to put in place these bureaucratic military war plans and then somewhat blindly and thoughtlessly implement those plans? It may be basically the same situation today? This could be a huge problem in the context of weak, nincompoop civilian leadership and runaway technology?

            Here is something that is very important regarding this subject
            My family lived thru the block busting back in the the 1950’s, where real estate companies would move in black families into very stable white areas. Once a black family moved in, then there was white flight. I saw it happen over and over again.
            Entire areas would turn over in less than 6 months as the whites ran away from the black onslaught.
            What made that happen?
            And then the whites moved a little further away, and the pattern was repeated. Each time the cost of moving increased. It was driving the real estate boom.
            Why? How benefited from this?
            In the end, there was Section 8 program.
            The blacks got a free house in your white neighborhood.
            How does a hard working white guy feel about that?

    It seems that they tried to do a re-make of the 1970’s TV show, “Soul Train”, but it flopped. The Don Cornelius character and the Soul Train Gang dancers appear awkward, artificial, contrived, and stiff, ironically almost like White People.

    Has the current generation of black people lost their “Soul”? If so, this would be Tragic.

    I liked Ole Don Cornelius. When I was growing up, I always looked forward to riding the “Soul Train” on Saturday mornings. “Soul Train” was a good friend. I think that black people listen to that “Rap Shit” now?

          That was not the point I was trying to make. The USA is riding down the road in bus. We have a driver trying to steer the thing to a destination.     In today’s Houston Chronicle:

    GOP anxiety spikes after retirements, Democratic gains in Texas


    I am a lifelong Texan and have lived in Austin the Capital city for many years. I do think Texas is gradually becoming a blue state, but I don’t think it will in 2020 unless the Dems end up nominating someone very strong. In other words someone who is not in this current field.

    At least on of the GOP congressmen who announced he’s not running has not been very pro-Trump. I think that’s the real reason he’s not running again. He knows he’ll lose mostly for especially siding with “the squad”. A lot of his district is rural. Rural Texas ain’t down with the squad. Believe me.

    Yes Beto did very well last year against Ted Cruz. But the fact of the matter is that Ted Cruz is not very well liked even among conservatives in the state. Beto rode the mid-term wave that was going in the Dem’s favor, and I’ll hand it to him for running a very vigorous and smart campaign. But it was really an outlier that he came so close. If it were someone other than Cruz I don’t think it would’ve been as close. I doubt that John Cornyn will lose his Senate race in 2020 even though it looks like he’s going to have a potentially strong adversary. Cornyn is very good at not pissing folks off and not showboating in a way that’s annoying, which is what Cruz has done a lot. He’s smoother. Plays the game well and unlike Cruz is a native Texan.

    If Trump were to wake up one morning with a wild hair up his ass and start a big trade war with Mexico then that would probably sink him in Texas next year. Texas’ economy relies a great deal on trade with Mexico. Even Republicans here will be pissed if Trump manages to foul that up. It probably won’t happen, but I’m just sayin’. With Trump one never knows what he’s going to do next.

    All in all, if things keep going on a somewhat even keel no current Dem has a chance of beating Trump in Texas next year. But, as James Carville used to say, “It’s the economy stupid”.

    It always pretty much is.

        A High School in Austin called John H. Reagan is about to lose its name because he was supportive of the Confederacy back in the day. Set up a jobs program, draft all the out of work. The drifters, the punks, the inner city and vagrants. Set up a serious training program, hire some of our out of work craftsmen, Carpenters, Plumbers, Electricians and teach our kids how to do a job in a proper way.

    What’s changed over these last 10-15 years? It used to be that ‘politics’ was a bit like sport, at least among mature adults. Someone supported this party or that policy just as they might support a sports team. It was a biographical detail, not a character flaw. But in recent years, politics has becomes poisoned and, as a result it’s now poisonous.

    The first thing infected is a sense of objective truth, the idea that, beyond the usual disagreements over detail, there were facts and these facts mattered.

    This is reflected everyday in all public discourse, and in this particular microcosm here.

    There isn’t going to be any reconciliation. How can there be when there are open calls to abolish and erase Whites and any and all vestiges of White American culture?     In particular, 2008 showed that the worse things were in the global economy the more was the dollar against the euro and until you understand the reasons for this phenomenon, you can only talk about saving the dollar or saving the victims of the dollar system by having a plan to build a different system of economic relations – see the answer to the previous question.

    “Race hustling” is what they do because they’ve got nothing else. If there’s nothing “conservative” about what – cough – “conservatives” inflicted over the past two generations, then there’s nothing in the way of actual “progress” delivered by alleged “progressives”. In fact, in all the ways that matter, you could hardly slip a cigarette paper between the governing practices of “progressive” and “conservative” at the national level when one or the other was in power.

    The progressive intellectual cup-board is bare. And it’s bare because people purporting to be society’s “thinkers”, (regardless of political affiliation to be fair) are, in the best case, mediocrities in the sub-basement of creativity, the ability to discover new things, the ability to reconsider established knowledge, the ability to repackage what’s known in order to shed light on old problems (like Einstein did), to follow logic where logic goes without regard for convention.

    In the worst case, so-called “intellectuals” of the progressive bent are careerists in the service of monied interests and of a societal hierarchy of privilege, concerned first and foremost with their own positions, throttling free-thinking, free discussion, acting to impede the advancement of knowledge, acting to suppress rather than promote the dissemination of understanding, acting to obfuscate rather than illuminate.

    So we get this so-called “thinking class” doing race hustling. They can’t think of anything better, such is their degraded state.     Collapsing California cliff claims 3 lives along beach

    A popular surfing beach was closed Saturday after a cliff collapsed, sending tons of sandstone onto beachgoers and killing three people.

    A 30-foot-long slab of the cliff plunged onto the sand near Grandview Beach north of San Diego. A KNSD-TV helicopter captured footage of beach chairs, towels, surf boards and beach toys strewn about the sand.

    About the Abyss, Which was Revealed to a Historical Witness

    As a friend recently noted, who stopped visiting me, the historical witness is actually a witness of historical events, but I call myself that for so long, when I come across this feature of my fate, that I will not change this name, including that it helps me to cope and it’s very scary to be a historical witness.

    I am still afraid to write about ninety percent of the historical events that I witnessed, but I still wrote about the murder of Suslov in Moscow in 1982, which became the control shot in the head of the USSR, as well as how the client who entered New York limousine service and expressed a desire for $750 plus gasoline to drive him to Texas because he is afraid to fly on airplanes.

    And on April 18, 1993, I ended up in Waco Texas.

    And recently, I again became a historical witness in front of many of my readers, because if I had not woken up at 3 am on July 3, I would not have known anything about the martial law that was announced all over the world after the vice-president’s plane was ordered to turn around in flight and immediately return to Washington due to the state of emergency.

    The fact of the matter is that at 8 a.m. Moscow time all the traces of this global alarm have already been eliminated, and the forums on which David Koresh was recalled in connection with the alleged assassination of President Trump and 7 American submarines with which allegedly was lost contact and which were supposedly those 7 seals of the Apocalypse, about which Koresh wanted to write before his death, were already sunk in conspiracy theories of all kinds and it was already impossible to find anything there.

    While reading these revelations and listening to the sound of heavy Russian bombers flying above my head at high altitude, I recalled that Koresh was the first to call Clinton Amalek, and I became more and more convinced that it was for this that they all were murdered.

    Nevertheless, all this can not be compared with what I saw then in Moscow, during those terrible half a year that began for me with the fact that Kazannik, without consulting anyone, obviously took a sign from Above and gave his mandate to Boris Yeltsin, who gained 90% of the vote in the national territorial district No. 1 (Moscow), received 91.53% of the Muscovites’ votes, with a turnout of almost 90%.

    And for me these half a year ended on December 21, when after 2 hours on the plane I landed in Vienna as a complete anti-Semite, and dragging my suitcases to the bus and from the bus to the third floor of the hotel in a small alpine resort all night and fell asleep exhausted, and in the morning I turned on the short-wave radio and found out that the second of the so-called color revolutions began in Bucharest.

    I think that if you just tap a bloke upside the head with an iron wrench that it basically incapacitates him?       I would like to know why you have ignored my question about the study “Who are Mass Shooters, Mass Shooter Demographics” which you linked to in the last post? From your own linked study at the centerforinquiry.org (which you apparently didn’t bother to read, because it disproves your thesis) it shows that blacks are disproportionately over-represented among mass shooters in each of the three categories of mass shooters, as well as overall. In table 1 of that study, it shows that blacks account for 37% of the total, whereas they make up only 13% of the population.

      Now, as to why whites make up a majority of the most notorious & largest mass shootings, it’s very simple. Whites have this faculty for planning out their actions, months, even years ahead because the white race has on average a larger prefrontal cortex used for executive functions like planning & decision-making than do blacks. Blacks are more impulsive though & commit an inordinate number of mass shootings compared to their proportion of the total population. Therefore, the stereotype of the angry white male mass shooter has some validity but it is statistically untrue.

    Will it ever happen? Nope. But it sure is fun to dream. Do you know when things really started to go – literally – to hell in this country? When women were given the right to vote seperate and apart from their husbands. What a disaster. This is when the war against marriage and the family began in earnest – and it has taken less than 100 years for both institutions to be almost completely destroyed. And it all started with the damn suffrage.

    Here’s the deal. Up until women’s suffrage, a man was the head of his marriage and his household, and his vote represented not just himself but his entire family, including his wife and his children. When men voted, they were conscious of the fact that they were voting not just for themselves and their own personal interests, but they were also charged with the responsibility of discerning and making the ultimate decision about what was in the best interests of their entire family. Wow. Isn’t that nuts? Men being . . . responsible?

    As soon as the 19th amendment was passed, men were effectively castrated, and in many, many cases disenfranchised by their wives. No longer was the man the head of the household. No longer was he responsible for his wife. Now the wife was a “co-husband” at best, or a flat-out adversary at worst. The notion of a man making the final decision about what was best for his wife and family per his God-given vocation as husband and father was now over. Now all he was good for was bringing home the bacon – but even that wouldn’t last.

    Women are made with a healthy, innate desire to be provided for and protected. I know this because I am a woman, despite the pair of enormous brass balls I have to carry around. Those are merely an anomaly. Please ignore them, and no, you may not touch them. I just polished them last night. Back to the point, women want someone or someTHING to take care of them. For this reason, women tend to lean socialist, and are generally in favor of the expansion of government when the government promises to “provide” for them.

    If you have read me for any length of time you could probably write this next paragraph yourself. Satan has used this healthy feminine dynamic, perverted by suffrage, to systematically replace men with the government as the providers in society. A woman no longer has any need of a man. Marriage no longer serves any practical purpose. A woman can whore around and have as many fatherless children as she pleases, and Pimp Daddy Government will always be there to provide. Men have learned well from this, too. Men can also slut it up to their heart’s content knowing that the government will take care of their “women” and raise their children for them. Fathering children no longer binds a man to a woman in any way. Men didn’t vote to societally castrate themselves, and never would have. No – in order for this system to have come about, women’s suffrage was an absolute necessity. Women themselves voted the system into place which objectifies and devalues both them AND their children.

    Next, the issue of disenfranchisement. I believe that the 19th amendment actually DISenfranchised more people than it enfranchised. Many, many married couples quickly found themselves voting against one another. The man would tend to vote for the more conservative platform, and the woman would vote for the more socialist platform. When this happened, the effective result was the nullification of BOTH individuals’ votes. What this did was massively reduce the voting influence of the married household, and magnify the voting influence of the unmarried – and the unmarried tend to be younger, and thus more stupid, and thus vote for big government. It was all part of the plan, kids. All part of the plan.

    I’ve probably ticked even one or two of you conservatives off with this post. Here is the question I would ask you: Why? Why are you ticked off? If you’re a woman, the reason you are ticked off is because you put yourself and your desire to assert your will above the well-being of society in general. I don’t feel that way. I would give up my vote in a HEARTBEAT if it meant that right-ordered marriage, family and sexuality was restored to our culture. I would rather that little girls today grow up in a world where they did not have the so-called “right” (voting is NOT a right) to vote, but was treated with dignity and respect, was addressed as “ma’am”, had doors held for her, and wherein men stood up when she entered the room. I would rather she be courted properly and then marry a man who would never, ever leave her, and would consider it his sacred duty and honor to protect and provide for her and their children because he LOVED them. Oh, HELL yes. I’ll give up my vote in exchange for that any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Why wouldn’t you?

    For you men who don’t like my position, you’re just a slave to political correctness. It’s the same thing as the rap music. No one will criticize rap music because it is forbidden by the P.C. culture to criticize a non-white cultural phenomenon. To do so is “bigoted”. It’s the same with this. The P.C. culture has convinced you that if you criticize anything that has to do with women or the feminine culture that you must be a Taliban. Don’t fall for that garbage. That manipulation is why fifty million babies have been murdered in this country over the last 38 years. Men knew that abortion was murder, but they punted on it and eventually legalized it because they didn’t want to be accused of being “misogynistic”. Cowards.

    So there you go. Print it, save it, PDF it. Because I acknowledge the objective reality and massively disordered consequences of female suffrage, am able to see beyond my own immediate self-interests on the matter, and have the stones to say it all publicly, I am permanently disqualified from . . . pretty much everything outside self-employment.

They need to become mothers while still in their teens and early twenties. Later they can have more freedoms perhaps, once they have earned it. Ditto with Women in Society as a whole. We have to start brand new. Young girls will grow up expecting to be put into Sweet Servitude and fine their freedom there. Unusual and Ugly girls or extremely gifted girls can be guided into special or early careers. The super smart ones who really need to know will be given a history of the current madness and how it almost destroyed us. But only on a need to know basis for kids. Otherwise such material will be only available at a high level in Academia. Some things are best forgotten by the People.

I remember well how you told me that my thinking was too monolithic when it came to men and misogyny during a discussion about Islam. So likewise lets try to keep the monolithic thinking and stereotypes to a minimum here to keep all things equal right? Let’s get real too. A real relationship means there are things you have to give up for yourself because its not just about you anymore. And you yourself have said before that you believe people are free to interact within their relationships as they see fit. So then there should be no issue really if people choose to go back to traditional models for society and marriage.

          There is no issue whatever, SSL, with you, Janos or Tate living the dream in terms of the kind of relationships you choose. You seemed at one time keen to tell us that yours was less than perfect, in ways that I, for one, wouldn’t put up with, so maybe you should have the humility to quit the marriage counselling.

          You also specifically told me that the men round your way were quick to raise their hands to their wives and that that seemed to be the other side of the coin in relationships where ‘men were men and women were women’. To which a self-respecting person can only say ‘f**k that for a game of soldiers’. But if you think that’s superior to what other people have, that’s your right. But only for you – you don’t have the right to impose it on anyone else through your political aspirations.

          I ‘inserted’ the issue of domestic abuse because there’s an awful lot of it about, and it wasn’t even mentioned. Why do you choose to stick with a one-sided view of marriage?

          Of my friends and acquaintances, only two are divorced. Everyone else lives in a modern, equal marriage that works just fine and have raised happy, achieving children. A couple have had to take over the main breadwinner role because of illness, or, in one case, increasing blindness. In most cases, the men have higher-paying jobs, but their wives still have good ones, often ones that are flexible enough to allow them to combine work and parenthood.

          The two that are divorced both had cheating husbands who were also useless fathers (but both ‘breadwinners’ in good jobs, with wives at home bringing up their young children at that time).

          One went off and started another family and proceeded to ignore his two sons for many years, then expected them to be pleased when he got back in touch in their teens. One of his sons refused to have anything to do with him, and quite rightly, if that’s the way he felt. The other did go to see him but saw him for exactly what he was (he even tried to get back with my friend while he was married to wife no.2). My friend has brought up two delightful, responsible, decent, hardworking young family-oriented men without having them influenced by their useless father.

          Domestic abuse, to get back to that, isn’t a stereotype. It’s a minority activity which destroys people’s lives. They deserve a mention, so please stop being disingenuous and pretending that reminders of things missed out need to be referring to ‘monolithic stereotypes’.

    El Paso shooting leaves 20 dead, 26 injured; investigators probing potential ‘nexus to hate crime’


    “A gunman killed 20 people and injured 26 others Saturday after he opened fire at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, state and city officials said.

    “‘Texas grieves with the people of El Paso today,’ said Gov. Greg Abbott at an evening news conference following the deadliest mass shooting in America since a gunman killed 26 people at a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas on Nov. 5, 2017.

    “‘The scene was a horrific one,’ said El Paso Police Chief Greg Allen, who added that many of the wounded had life-threatening injuries. …

    “Chief Allen said investigators were examining a manifesto that may have been written by the suspect and would indicate a ‘nexus to a hate crime,’ but declined to offer details. The suspect will likely face capital murder charges, Allen said.”

    A more succinct way to describe this ‘nexus to hate crime’ would be a terrorist attack. Police have arrested a suspect. Evidence is mounting that this suspect sympathized with the white supremacist terrorist who live-streamed a mass murder from Christchurch, New Zealand on March 15, and acted from similar motives.

    If America’s race issues are a hustle, then what is this? The lambada?

You know, I am starting to get the feeling that you actually enjoy watching Americans kill each other off in greater numbers in more and more of these senseless murders every year. The only thing that could be better is when the government finally has enough reasons to start mass murdering peaceful American citizens who refuse to give up their weapons once outlawed altogether. Then what will you write, good for you American losers?

      Correct me if I am wrong, but the picture I have formed of you in my mind’s eye is that you are not a person that has ever gotten involved in helping other people, solving problems, or doing anything constructive to make this planet a better place. I see you as a disgruntled pot head that likes to sit back and bitch and moan about your neighbors as you spark up another blunt. Yes I could be totally wrong and if I am please correct me because I cannot stand laboring under a delusion.

      As a man that has spent a professional career being paid to solve problems, deal with people and plan for a better future, I must honestly say that many, many problems can never be solved, especially the people problem. In our nation where popularity contests determine our “leadership”, we are especially screwed here in the US. The government has not been able to solve any problem for decades now and if and when they ever take strategic action in this area, they will solve nothing except perhaps for population reduction. I suppose that there might be some value there.

      America has had a long period of growth, affluence, and then decadence. As the country moves forward into decline, the lower elements of the angry masses will strike out more frequently and increasingly violently. Disarming and murdering the peaceful elements will be the only action that our hapless government will be able to undertake. Perhaps that is why they are now becoming drug pushers, to help ease the pain. How’s that working for you guys?

        Walter, just since I wrote that last night before turning in, there has been yet another copycat mass shooting, this time in Dayton, Ohio.


        This terrorist was wearing body armour and carrying extra magazines. The police acted quickly and shot him dead, or there might be even more dead in Dayton. There was no good-guy-with-a-gun in sight.

        After the El Paso shooting, there were spontaneous outpourings of goodwill.


        So many people lined up to give blood that they had to be turned away. Gives new meaning to the term ‘bleeding heart’, doesn’t it?

        This response by the people of El Paso is generous, humane, well-meaning, and completely useless. It won’t bring back the dead, or make any difference to the treatment of those still fighting to survive. Nothing will change — not until people change the way they think about situations like this, to match the realities. The reality is that nothing changes if nothing changes. The best way to help people who are being murdered is to change the circumstances that brought it about, so the murder doesn’t happen. One change of heart is worth a million well-meaning donations.

        I don’t much care what kind of person you think I am, Walter. My answer will be the same regardless.

            The difference? The plans are not typed up, and the perps and victims are generally black.

            What can we conclude? That the Left prefers style over substance. Given a choice between preventing 20 deaths that involve a white perp with a “manifesto” and 1000 deaths involving gangs, the Left will choose the former. The deaths themselves are not the significant aspect for them; race is.

That does indeed add an additional 30 seconds to my Internet search, as mass shootings are quite rare. Nonetheless…

            A shooting at a dentist office in Colonial Heights, Tennessee was stopped by Larry Seagroves, a concealed handgun permit holder. After the killer, Harry Weaver, fatally shot one person, Kelly Weaver, his wife, he turned his gun on other people in the office. One of them, a dental hygienist, Sabrina Steal, said: “then he raised a gun to shoot me”. Larry Seagroves shot the killer, wounding him before he could shoot these other people. After the attack, Harry Weaver told the police: “You all wouldn’t be dealing with me right now if the hero hadn’t stepped in.”

            Here are many more examples.

            Now let’s hear you deny that you’re wrong, try to split hairs to disqualify all these examples, try to redirect your arguments and move the goalposts somewhere else, or some other typical Elrond bullshit.

    Janos, you seem to think the destruction of the family is a bad thing. What you are describing is a victory. Family is a source of widespread social problems (rampant child abuse, stress/illness, divorce, domestic violence, teenage runaways, alcoholism and drug abuse, etc.)

    The family is the unit which perpetuates divisions of nationalism, race and religions — all of the things that are most ugly. The family does the work of transmitting loyalty to all these things.

    Once the family goes, the destructive “family values” it instills will be gone — patriotism, belief in a fictitious God, reliance upon instilled conscience instead of intelligent consciousness.

    It is not about MY family or my psyche. The family as an institution enforces a divisive identity onto EVERY child.

    Women not being the property of men is a good thing. Women becoming franchised and economically independent is a good thing. Just as Criminal Trump condemning white nationalist violence against innocents as cowardly is a good thing.

          ALL aspects of life were politicized—and that includes family life. There was no family life or family unit outside of the state. There was no limit to the role of government, no way to keep family life and political life separate. Loyalty was ALWAYS to the state first—not the family.

    He was right in much of what he said. These killings are horrific and sad. Should he have directed his gunfire elsewhere? Where? If this is madness, so is what is happening to our nation, and no one else is stopping it.

    At an early press conference in El Paso, an Hispanic Texas Congresswoman prodded the Governor for the mike, and then started talking about HATE. She didn’t mention Trump’s name but you could hear it loud and clear.

    Beto already jumped on board. The rest will sure follow. The HATE card is in play.

    If they haven’t already, Latinos will soon outnumber whites in Texas.

    We’re in big trouble. The Dems just may add to their 3 million vote lead in 2016, going into 2020. And it’s for damn sure they’ll make every effort to swing those three key states. Don’t count on enough people being tired of the race card and counting huge piles of dollars that Trump supposedly put on their table. Hate, Race, Guns and Goodies may just carry the day.

It includes a farcical scene where two English colonials get into an argument over exactly who is, and isn’t, allowed to beat the Burmese servants.       I took a long bike ride yesterday (about 175 miles) so I was out of the news loop until much later in the evening when I sat down at my computer. That was when I learned there had been a massacre in El Paso. Next there were blurbs from several of the Dem candidates and in particular Beto I assume because that is his hometown. For some damn reason I was unable to activate the sound so I could only watch Beto. I remembered from the 2018 mid-terms that people poked fun at B.O. for some kind of over-the-top hand and arm gesticulations (I never observed them myself since I try to never give politicians my attention if at all possible) so I waited to see what this shooting would engender gesticulation-wise. The best part was when Beto massaged one hand with the other and then went on to a full-on cracking of the knuckles of both hands. God how I wish the sound on my ‘puter was working.

            The two subsequent replacements had affairs with Trump while he was still married to their respective predecessor.

            I don’t see why I should respect that but look down my nose at someone who is less classily skanky and wearing less posh clothes. If our moral universes collide, so be it.

            Skankiness over here doesn’t suggest the person accused of it doesn’t shower regularly. I have ZERO respect for people who cheat on their spouses. If you don’t want to be with them, leave them first, then do whatever you want to do. People deserve a modicum of dignity, even if you don’t want them any more. Generic ‘you’, obviously.

    Tools, I like tools. Whether it be a hammer or a gun. Perhaps, people are tools, to be worked as needed. Years ago ,as today, everybody had guns. We used and respected them as was taught to us by our Fathers and Grandfathers. Today the breakdown of society and the input of violent movies and video games makes violence seem ho-hum. I drive the speed limit. I can’t count the honks and fingers I get for obeying the law. People are just plain rude and self centered. I was in court recently for a routine housing-tenant issue. During recess I was bored and counted 20 people in the waiting area. 18 with their face buried in their phones. I was no. 19 and went to sit with another old timer(55+). The only one I could talk to. Funny because during court most of the phone people claimed they were indigent and could not pay fines. Seems strange that they had $500 phones and a $100 a month cell bill.

    Did you think that the Liberal elements of this country can give away the economic life blood of the country to overseas countries and everybody was going to sing kumbaya.

    Nope, marijuana legalization, the destruction of family values, male emasculation, opioid abuse, drug usage increases, violence and shootings.

    Our lovely government’s response. Legalizing marijuana more to get more tax money, feeding poverty by giving out more welfare, continue to try to raise corporate tax rates to off shore more companies, raise unemployment to make more families dependent on the government and emasculate more men, open the border for more drugs to cross and allow more impoverished folks in to tear up the employment market place a little more,

    So let the government have more gun control. Talk about feckless effort. No. One gun control is Chicago, Illinois. That works well. With the violent reaction of these people doing the shootings being more encouraged by a worse and worse social situation in the country, we definitely need to enact all the gimme programs of the New Left. Something about pouring gasoline onto a fire.

    Take away the guns, miraculously and knives will be used. Or maybe explosives. Or maybe trucks like in Europe. Take away the guns, and the bad guys will still get them and the population will be defenseless. Take away the guns and make this population even more mean spirited.

    Or just take away hope with the Liberal social programs and watch the country explode. Vote Liberal in 2020 and get ready for the final flush.

        goldpen, try to keep up. Two terrorist mass shootings within 24 hours of each other: first in El Paso, TX, the second in Dayton, OH.

        Meanwhile, the persistent characterization of social welfare programs as ‘gimme’, as JohnAZ does, is one of the factors that brought matters to this point. To put it simply, people without hope lash out. If you don’t want them lashing out, then give them hope and a reason to believe the society they live in gives a shit about them. The way to do that is not with handouts, or with targeted transfers that give bigots fits, but with universal programs that everyone has a stake in.

        For an example of what I mean, think Social Security. For another, think Medicare For All. It’s not a giveaway, because everyone is part of it. Everyone gets sick, everyone gets hurt, everyone gets old and everyone dies. That’s why the correct risk pool for a medical insurance scheme is everyone, which is what M4A achieves. It’s the current, privatized system that is the ‘gimme’ system, because it leverages everyday hurts and illness into an extortion racket that makes some people unbelievably rich while leaving tens of millions to rot.

        If you’re scared the United States is descending into chaos, you should be getting behind this plan. Enacting M4A would be an outstanding way to take the wind out of the sails of people like the El Paso and Dayton terrorists, because it would give people hope that what’s good about the current system can be redeemed. Medicare For All is an investment in social cohesion at a time when the USA sorely needs it.

          I do believe that what you said has happened a number of times. But not every shooting event is a prepared patsy. The one in El Paso apparently wanted to live because he did. He didn’t shoot himself, and he didn’t get bold in the end and put himself in the line of fire of the police. Or, maybe he just ran out of ammo.

          But, IF he is a prepared patsy this is going to present a problem for the preparers because now he can be interrogated.

          I don’t yet know the details on the Dayton shooter, who did die.

            Sure the FBI will, but the local cops, including probably the Texas Rangers will investigate and interrogate as well. If he’s a patsy then this will be a problem for any “handlers” of the guy.

            My bet is that this time this shooter is a disturbed dude who snapped. And of became convinced he’s a “noble warrior” doing a greater good. If I had my way within one month he’d be either hung, sizzled in an electric chair, or shot by a firing squad.

        These shooters are in a social environment that is becoming more and more intolerant and violent. As that trend increases, so does the number of shooters increase floating to the top of the heap. It is just easier for them to justify to themselves doing what they do. They are committing suicide by doing the shooting, and they do not care. They have heroes to model themselves after that are shooters. They copycat. I would imagine having their 15 minutes of fame helps justify what they do.

        The Sect of Pedophiles you refer to is a reflection of what has become normalized in our society. In any society, the people set the rules, so to speak.

        Think about the response to Columbine, then think about the the response to these two. We are getting used to it. There are lots more coming.

        How to stop them? Until our society changes, you can’t. How to change our society? Sorry, I do not have a clue and it seems no one else does other.

        One more comment. Your Sect of Pedophiles, and drugs, and human trafficking and gun running, and and and, identities are starting to be identified. Jeff Epstein is the greatest threat to this group of elites ever. I think a lot of it will end up with the Deep State, my opinion only.             Less desperate may be a good thing Elrond, but probably is nowhere near attainable. Check out our host’s last podcast on the subject technology and then start researching the history of the angst that technologies have added to the daily lives of human beings for centuries now.

            The catchphrase may be that technology makes our lives easier, but I do believe that the hard evidence indicates that it makes lives more complicated and more complex. Besides that it tends to dumb down the individual, make them lazy and distracted or overburdened and overstressed and in many cases creates physical problems too. I have had far better service from my 4 pound engineer’s hammer than I have had from the technologies that I utilize.

            It seems to me your 4-pound engineer’s hammer is also an example of technology, Walter. For that matter, so is a rock, as long as the rock is applied to the right purpose. It’s the purpose that makes the technology; from there, it’s just refinement.

            Speaking for myself, I like technology. I like high-energy civilization in general, and the benefits that come with it. I think our priority in years to come should be to preserve as much of what’s good about today’s society as we can. It didn’t come about by accident, after all. Our forebears envisioned something and worked to build it because they wanted a life that was better than what they had. Can the outcome of all that effort really be nothing but dross, something we should be glad to get rid of, just because consumerism makes us queasy?

            This blog used to be about urbanism; now its subject is, more or less, how we need to reconcile ourselves to reduced expectations. I say, screw reduced expectations. If there’s going to be a crisis, we should be planning how we can come out the other side doing better than we’re doing now, in the ways that matter.

Personally, instead of people like him, I think people like me should get those special privileges instead. Does that strike you as any more fair? I doubt it.             Thank you for working with me here Elrond. I am developing a clearer picture of who and what you are and that is very helpful if our objective is peaceful co-existence. You seem to me to be a dreamer of what can be and how wonderful it would all be if we could only make it so. There is much value in that to be sure.

            I, on the other hand, spent a long career making sort of dreams happen. It was one thing to think up wonderful systems where boxes went up and down conveyor lines, had barcodes read by scanning devices and were then sorted out and sent to the correct shipping lane after being checked on in lines scales for weight. Being the one who had to do all of the measuring, engineering, planning ordering, designing of controls systems and making sure that everything got there right and right on time was no place for dreaming. My customers did not sign multi million dollar contracts for such systems that I contracted to design and supply unless I was able to get it all done, and I did and still do.

            For men like you and I to work together smoothly, the dreamer in you needs to accept that dreams may be wonderful but reality always falls far short of the dream. On my end, we who provide the reality must always be mindful of the fact that the dreamers have much insight and that we need to do our best to come as close as we can to providing as much of the dream as possible.

            This all works fairly well with systems, but when it comes to people, all bets are off because human beings have very severe limitations. That is why those of us that worship God always see Him as having Infinite Patience. .

            Thank you, Walter B. I always seek peace with people of good will. The fact is, I’m a very systematic thinker but on a more abstract level. I do my best thinking when there’s a clear principle I can adhere to, and apply rigorously wherever it becomes applicable. I am not the person you want to have dealing with endless administrative details — I’m an architect*, not a manager. (I found that out the hard way, and so did the people I was, er, struggling to manage.)

            Have you read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance? Robert Pirsig built his ideas on the word quality, which he considers to be undefinable but seems to mean, more or less, ‘what things are like’. When you’re dealing with quality, you’re paying attention to the cutting edge of actual experience and not letting pre-existing ideas do your thinking for you. I like to think that I adhere to principles while choosing my direction according to quality, and trust that the arc of my thinking will bend toward the true and the good. For what it’s worth, Walter.

            As for religion, I passed through a period of defiant atheism to end up where I am now, which is tranquil atheism. Unlike many who call themselves atheists, I don’t consider it a virtue to disrespect religion or those who practice it. I simply discovered that I can’t bend myself to fit a master narrative that contradicts what well-instructed reason has discovered about the way the world works. What’s left is the beauty of religious art, and some very useful tools for talking and thinking about how people can live together — tools like love, forgiveness and living in communion.         You’re right, elysianfield, far too little attention is paid to that clause, because it goes to the heart of the material motives of the Founding Fathers and their revolution. Some of Britain’s colonies joined the revolution, while others refused it. As a son of the provinces that remained loyal to the crown, I’m well-placed both to understand the origins of the Declaration of Independence, and to draw my own conclusions about it.

        For all their high-flown rhetoric, Washington and the others revolted against the crown because it was trying to set limits on their own rapaciousness. The men at that table denounced as ‘savages’ the same people whose land they were busy usurping. They also objected to the stirrings of abolition of slavery in the British Empire, which went directly to the bottom line of most if not all of them.

        As it turned out, both the revolutionary and loyalist prongs of the settler-colonial project got where they were going in the end. Both countries stretch from sea to sea, and both ended the abomination of slavery (though one required a second conflict, one even bloodier than the revolution, to achieve that). So was the revolution really necessary? You could say so, but to my mind that could only be true if the cruelty and greed of the means was part of the point.

      With the passage of time, the part of the Declaration of Independence that has held up the best is the opening lines. Most especially, the theory that governments are instituted by men, and that all men are created equal. Eyesore, I remember well that you once dismissed this as ‘one throwaway line’ that has caused endless trouble, which is one of the things I like best about it. It continues inspiring people of good will to this day, long after the occasion that prompted it.

      For all their considerable faults, the Founding Fathers deserve great credit for overturning might-makes-right as a theory of government and showing that kings can be dispensed with. The fact that you despise what’s best in your country is exactly what makes you un-American, and the fact that you despise what’s best in humanity is what makes you a bad person in general.

      As ever, Eyesore feels free to put words in my mouth and to conflate my position with his personal demons. I’m far from alone in being subject to this. Once more, I’ll state for the record: I would be absolutely fine with the USA using reasonable and effective means to secure its southern border. Provided it’s compatible with basic human decency (i.e. no family separation, no treating human beings like cattle or vermin, etc.) you wouldn’t hear a peep from me about it.

      As for the roughly 12 million people now in the USA who entered illegally, you ought to give them a path to citizenship. I don’t care how much you hate it, it’s the right thing to do. You can save your blame for the well-off chamber of commerce types whose desire for a cheap labour force lacking rights enabled them to filter in on a wink-and-a-nod basis in the first place. It’s not just that sending most of them back at this point would expose the bad faith of the original unspoken bargain, although it would. It’s that by this point, it would amount to ethnic cleansing, which is a crime in itself and only liable to provoke worse.

      The ugliest and most racist opinions have held the veto up till now. I say it’s time they got knocked down again so a reasonable settlement can be reached — before the smouldering erupts into open flame.

            Entire SA infrastructure is crumbling into dust. Apparently nobody told ANC leadership that electric power plants, reservoirs, roads, bridges, large urban office buildings and hotels needed regular maintenance and updating; the last maintenance on the main power plant in Jo’ burgh was in the 90s just before Mandela took over and now it is wrecked and there are rolling blackouts in the city weekly. It took only about 25 years for a modern country to grind down to African sh-thole status. Whites are down to about 8% of the total population, hundreds of thousands are leaving yearly but not all 4 million are going to able to get out. These are the unfortunate ones.

        We put a new clutch in this Royal Enfield but now suddenly there’s no spark; I’m thinking when we put it back together we didn’t line something up right and its not timed correctly. But how can an engine with a single cylinder be out of time? I can’t figure it out.

        So if you know anything about ignition systems in old motorcycles swing down here — its only about 35 min — after you pick up your ‘product’ from Stelmos.

    Defence – the old spelling as in the document. Note the word “fence”. But since a fence aint gonna do it, we need a wall. Not slats whereby contraband can be passed and athletic Mestizos enabled to shimmy up.

    Canada pacified the Indians before allowing Settlers to move into a given area. Don’t know all the details but I agree with Elrond that this was a more humane way of doing it. They’re were still all kinds of strike it rich schemes, cattlemen, gun fights, eccentrics, mountain men – all the things BRH loves. But a balance was created. And Indian fighters too. Not Centralized Government can do everything or absolve the People of the need to be responsible. Nor should it try to do so.

    We had a memorable multicultural experience in these parts last week. It doesn’t stack up against mass murder, not that sensational, but very telling indeed. This landscape was once dotted with tidy little farms; even inside town limits people would keep a few head of livestock on their property, every house had a garden. Most of it has been plowed under and paved over to make way for strip malls and housing developments (and most tragically mature maple trees that lined many of our streets and roads have been cut down in efforts to straighten and widen roads) Well, a few of these farms against all odds still exist and last week in a town north of here a calf got loose from one such farm and was walking down the street past one of these grimy strip mall shopping centers from the 1960s. Unfortunately, one of the estsblishments in the mall was a ‘Halal’ butcher shop; when the Halal butcher spottes the calf they rushed out and in plain view of everybody slit its throat where it stood, in plain view of everybody, including a local police officer, who arrested the lot of them for animal cruelty and other crimes. Yes, one of the arrested was named Mustafa, who is complaining of ‘racist’ messages sent to his shop. On a small scale, this is what Samuel P Huntington must have had in mind when he wrote ‘Clash of Civilizations’.

    I think that Timothy McVeigh had his Ryder truck b…om..b on a 2 minute timer. I recall from the book “American Terrorist” that McVeigh carried a .45 caliber pistol to shoot into the device to ignite it in case the crude timer didn’t work. McVeigh walked calmly away, and when it blew up the blast knocked him off his feet and threw him several feet. McVeigh grew up in Upstate New York and had an ignorant out-of-Control working class Feminist Witch mother. A fairly common, plain vanilla scenario.

    Strange that there were so many early reports of multiple shooters. There are the official photos of him that appear to be of different people. His My Life page has been modified multiple times since the shooting. And then his dad Bryan Crusius is a therapist who recently worked at a psychiatric hospital Timberlawn in East Dallas that was shutdown last year for safety violations leading to insinuations of an MK Ultra connection. At any rate its difficult to know what’s real other than this incident will be used to crack down on gun owners and Whites. The behavior and narrative of the media and the politicians salivating to make good use of any crisis seems to be on script. Maybe it is a false flag.
