Historians of the future, boiling acorns over their campfires (a nice accompaniment to cattail tubers and milkweed pods in a squirrel-tail reduction), will marvel that the Democrats back in the woeful year 2020 thought that burning down the country would be a winning election strategy. Has anyone been fooled by the party’s straight-up support, comfort, and incitement of this season’s looting and arson? Now that all the old statues are torn down, beheaded, or drowned, will future statues of statesman Joe Biden portray him at his most heroic, with a face-mask dangling from one ear as he scours the vacant chambers of his prefrontal cortex for a fugitive homily?

No more Cocoa Krispies for you, racist America! Aunt Jemima has served her last pancake, Lord, and is quitting the big house for an endowed chair in critical flatbread studies at Princeton. Every last reel of Gone with the Wind will be melted down for guitar picks. And get this, Whitey: Uncle Ben is no kin to you and never was!

Actually, Huey P. Newton of the Black Panthers said it best fifty years ago: “Marxism is my hustle,” is how he put it. America, do you ever sense that you are being hustled? Importuned by means not altogether above-board? Faked out? Bamboozled? Gulled? You might have reason to suspect as much, under the circumstances. MSNBC’s Ali Velshi caught the spirit of the hustle last week when he stood before a burning liquor store in Minneapolis and declared, “This is mostly a protest. It is not, generally speaking, unruly.  But fires have been started and this crowd is relishing that.” Yes, fire is a crowd-pleaser, all-right, and probably has been for a hundred thousand years or more. That is how we humans roll. This was just an entertainment-grade fire, set to amuse, to tickle that ancient instinct.

Now, the Democratic Party enjoys proud ownership of the phrase “defund the police” — and all the interesting implications of it. Let’s see which Democrat-controlled city will go first with an actual demonstration project of that policy. So far, it has just amounted to impromptu decrees from the mayors’ offices to stand down or standby while mobs do their thing (“shopping,” minus payment for goods received). Wait until it becomes an overt civic management mandate — call it zero law enforcement policy. The thing is, it will be most appreciated by people who don’t vote; for the voters, maybe not so much.

The scenario is playing out in Atlanta now, where one Rayshard Brooks was shot while violently resisting arrest after passing out in a Wendy’s drive-thru and failing a sobriety test. Mr. Brooks had a long rap sheet for activities such as domestic battery and cruelty to children. He was on probation for a previous driving-under-the-influence conviction. A new one would have sent him to jail, knowledge of which, perhaps, prompted him to assault the two arresting officers and attempt to taser them— a saint in-the-making, for sure.

Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard has charged officer Garrett Rolfe with felony murder, which carries the death penalty under Georgia law. The DA decided to forego an official inquiry by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. The DA has made self-contradictory public statements about whether a taser is a deadly weapon or not. The charges may not stick. In which case, does Atlanta burn down next? The Atlanta police have engaged in job walk-offs. Maybe this will be America’s first test of how a major metro area works when there is no law enforcement.

YouTube commentator Scott Adams, creator of the comic-strip Dilbert, raised an interesting question the other day about the re-energized push for “reparations” to black America and the difficulty of actually calculating it. What if it turned out to be something like a negative $11 trillion? That is, if you figure in the accrued costs to non-black America in the century and a half since the civil war. After the past several weeks, with epic looting and burning in many cities, that number may be looming larger in the national consciousness.

A heat-wave is upon us now in the northeast. It tends to depress spirits during the day, only to make them friskier when the sun goes down. There’s little to do in the cities these days, no simple entertainments, no sports, no eating out, in some places (like Manhattan) no more shopping — no place to go but the rooftops and the streets. The Democrats are on a roll with their hustle. But so far, they haven’t succeeded in goading the president into the use of federal troops to put down disorder. Nothing has stopped them yet from upping the ante on fomenting it. And today is Juneteenth, a day to celebrate. But how…?

Cultural marxism, brought to these shores nearly ninety years ago by the Frankfurt School, has won the day, hands down, and it will not be undone anytime soon. It has to be one of the most brilliant campaigns in cultural revolution in world history. The ultimate goal is totalitarianism under the aegis of one party rule, which probably begins in November.

    • hortonz June 19, 2020 at 11:51 am #

Maybe the Left is employing the age-old technique of distraction and denial by focusing everybody’s attention in ancient cultural and ethnic grievances instead of addressing the catastrophic and life-threatening dislocations that are coming as we get deeper into the Long Emergency. This wouldn’t be the first time the Democrats destroyed themselves because they refused to listen to common sense. Jimmy Carter tried to get them to face the music back in 1980 when he warned them America’s energy predicament would put a stake in all their utopian leftist fantasies and how did they reward him? By staging a failed palace coup that came back to bite them on the butt when Teddy Kennedy proved to be an even worse prospect for the Oval Office than Joe Biden in 2020.

      • shotho June 19, 2020 at 12:23 pm #

Yes, I agree with you that the Democrats have a way about them that snatches defeat from the jaws of victory – or is it the other way round. Anyway, they did a number on poor ole Jimmy, who was simply befuddled by the brokers in his own party who wanted him out. The same thing may happen to them this year, but the forces arrayed against Trump are formidable indeed, even among many in his own party.

“The greatest thing that the USA has got going for it is”…the 2nd Amendment which is why the Socialist Democrats are working feverishly to abolish it and with the current crop of “conservative” justices they have a shot.

I don’t get how the cop is being charged with murder for shooting Mr. Brooks. The guy violently resisted arrest, had taken the taser and if he shot the cop with the taser, he could well have then taken the cop’s gun from him. Then he could have either shot one or both cops or used it on others. So to me, the cop did the right thing and truly was fighting for his life and potentially that of civilians. But now because a white cop shot a violent black male, obviously the black male is a saint and the white cop a racist murderer! And the guys who end up getting shot and killed are all felons with long rap sheets. Why do people insist on anointing them as saints? And sad to say, with all the money rolling in for the children of these guys, they’ll be far better supported with their fathers dead!

I suppose I’m now turning into a racist. I’m sick of of all of this and find it bogus and self-serving. The Dems truly have no conscience.

And now we gt Klobuchar saintly withdrawing from consideration for VP and insisting that Biden pick a black woman. Cause we all know how 8 years of Obama healed this country right?

Simple, the Bad Orange Man stands between us and globalism. And the enemy of globalism are all racists. That is the hill the movement plans to die on.

On that note, we just had a annual corporate event today at the large international firm I work for. It was scheduled for the now in-no-way-whatsoever-very-mysteriously-popular-global-holiday “Juneteenth.”

We sat through 4 hours of speeches and a training covering diversity, the Corona Hoax, and every other Fake Nooz topic of the day.

Some of the bigwigs could not resist mentioning Trump either. The Purple Revolution is upon us.

The sad part is, some of the folks we listened to today are truly well meaning, but deeply affected by the Fake Nooz.

I feel your pain. I’ve had to sit through seemingly endless sessions on sexual harassment. When I complained that despite going to these every year I NEVER manage to get better at it they didn’t think it was too funny! 😉

        • NickelthroweR June 19, 2020 at 12:12 pm #

Corporate America has no sense of humor. I absolutely feel terrible for anyone that gave up their freedom for a paycheck. Working for corporate America means that you’ve 100% lost your 1st Amendment rights.

          • Nightowl June 19, 2020 at 12:26 pm #

I would normally agree, Nickel (was in the non-profit world before). But it is a bit better here in Europe, and I am in a position where I can pretty much come and go as I please, as well as choose my projects.

I can’t really imagine going back to the non-profit world or hustling for clients as a freelancer.

If I did anything different, I would probably just go back to working outdoors like I did in summers off from college.

I thinking people need to start suing their employers for firing them for having an opinion somewhere outside of work and none of the employer’s business.

It seems to me that this ought to hold up even in a hire and fire at will state, because the reason for the firing is speech.

I had to sit through an entire eight hours of it right after the tailhook debacle while at NTC Orlando on a Saturday because they did not want it to affect my Basic Electronics class.
Wish I could say that was the last eight hours I had to listen to this drivel but nope every year a shorter but no less painful training is applied.
Yellow light to all the training.

    • tlauria June 19, 2020 at 10:53 am #

You’re not a racist, you’ve just retained your common sense for the time being.
The Left is into human sacrifice…aborted fetuses, black men who are criminals and their sometimes innocent victims (see Chicago) and white police officers. That’s why this cop is charged with felony murder.
And they’re looking for…the death penalty.
      More death. Surprised?

    • King of Comedy June 19, 2020 at 11:26 am #

But Mr. Brooks was turning his life around.

It’s a very simple dynamic these days: the cops will no longer do their jobs because there is simply no upside for them in doing so. The very act of stopping/interrogating a black male, regardless of any criminal behavior, is systemic racism and if it goes beyond that, it’s a de facto lynching. Just collect your pay check and don’t believe what your lying eyes are telling you.

What this means for all decent people is that they will have to arm themselves. It’s just an Old West redux: everybody packing and whoever can shoot the fastest with the most accuracy wins the day. The cops are simply not going to be there when the wolf comes to the door.

I don’t have a crystal ball but in macro-terms, I believe we will begin to see self-segregation on a mass scale. It’s the inevitable outcome when two ideologies share zero common ground. That’s the thing the white woke either don’t understand or don’t care to understand: there will always be hierarchies in human organizations. Then again, wokesters seem to enjoy the rituals of self-abnegation so maybe they’re hankering for a more permanent dose of it. Anybody with a modicum of sanity however will want little to do with a world where the inmates run the asylum. And once the gates go up, you can’t let the enemy inside those gates or the cycle begins anew. It’s the most basic and the most ancient lesson of civilization and it looks like the 21st century is going to bring it back into fashion.

      • Mountain gal June 19, 2020 at 11:39 am #

        @ King of Comedy

I do believe you’re right. Why on earth would a cop want to risk their job let alone gong to jail for murder if they are confronted with a black person that needs to be stopped at all costs. I suspect they will just let them go; no point taking this on anymore. I’d hate to be a cop now. And yeah, it will fall to the civilian population to be armed and able to defend themselves and their loved ones.

      • shotho June 19, 2020 at 11:45 am #

Maybe or maybe not, bring it into fashion. The day is growing long for a return to normalcy. We are doing cultural revolution as never before seen in world history. The Chinese in the 1960’s just thought they were having a ‘cultural revolution’. We showed them the real thing. Now, we call abortion, choice; now, we declare that homosexuals are married; now, we mutilate our bodies in order to claim our ‘real’ gender; now, we call social control, racism; now, we say that God is dead. Truly amazing!

      • fugeguy June 19, 2020 at 2:50 pm #

I have had several friends and family who were police.

        Wow the stories.

People of good conscience can’t do the job anymore.

Guess what we’ll be left with?

    • elysianfield June 19, 2020 at 1:10 pm #

          • SpeedyBB June 21, 2020 at 8:35 am #

This is a principal objection I have to rap / hiphop, as it is a miserable celebration of cultural failure: drugs / sexual exploitation / violence / money. Musically there is not a lot there either (which explains the ripoffs, excuse me, the appropriation of licks from white groups like Kraftwerk – so the theft goes both ways).

White middle-class youth may get a vicarious thrill from the scene but it is basically antisocial and a dead-end. Literally.

            (List is 5 years old.)

    • Karah June 19, 2020 at 1:23 pm #

Mountain gal, reporting the facts in context about the police’s tragic encounter with Mr. Brooks is not ALLOWED to be reported or discussed by people who know better. You will never have a future as a news reporter because you do not print what the editors of the major news organs want people to hear and read. You question the narrative ONE SIDE of the story has cooked up. There are two sides or more to every story and they all deserve to be heard and seen.

      • Mountain gal June 19, 2020 at 2:20 pm #

        @ Karah

But now we are treated to only one “truth”, that which finds favor n the eyes of the wokesters at the NYT and its ilk.

  5. Vadrosaul June 19, 2020 at 10:34 am #

In the entirety of my 35 years, I’ve never seen collective society so catastrophized. The true problems are being obscured behind falsities driven by emotional appeals, manipulative politicians, Utopian delusions, and light-speed echo chambers.

As a denizen of academia, I can attest to rationality leaving the building, to be replaced by the triumvirate of agreeableness, relativism, and DIE. Everyday I see “peers” (can I really call them that when they are so intellectually lazy and pandering?) applying empiricism to their own field of study, yet kowtowing to whatever cause celebre those in the sociology department three floors above drone on about.

I’ve adapted my approach to put them on the defensive. It includes using the Socratic method when asking for the evidence which convinced them of whatever supposed injustice exists. Many typically pass the buck back, insisting it’s my job to disprove; they don’t even fathom that claiming an injustice comes attached with accusations against perpetrators.

BLM is a perfect confluence of this nonsense. They refuse to look at root causes (anti education, anti family, pro violence in Black cultures and communities), instead blaming symptoms.

That’s what I think when I see some of the signs that have been around on a few lawns for some time, the “we are glad you’re our neighbor type.
It was more of a feeling in my case, than a fully formed thought, but you are right, they do carry an accusation.
I never thought it necessary to proclaim to a neighbor that it’s okay with me that they live in their own house.

    • shotho June 19, 2020 at 11:50 am #

I taught sociology as a career, but retired just in time before seeing the utter collapse of intellectual integrity. At one time, sociology taught the amazing subject of exploring social behavior in groups, large and small. Then, it degenerated into a think tank for the propagation of cultural marxism, plain and simple. It’s a dying proposition, now only fit for the weak of mind.

      • K-Dog June 19, 2020 at 1:11 pm #

Cultural marxism is a knee-jerk way to describe it but it does not capture the pathology of the movement accurately. The SJW is not a marxist but is actually an elitist in sheep’s clothing who wants free stuff. It is power this and power that to these idiots who all feel themselves to be better than everyone else. That is not Marxism and you ironically give them a break by putting that label on them.

Stop going for a two-fer. Hate the SJW and hate the Marxist if you must, (getting a life would be more fun). But if you must, hating on them separately would make more sense.

Just calling the SJW a Marxist does not express what they believe in. Marxists do not embrace nihilism and some will die for their cause. The only way an SJW will die for their cause is if they are suicidal.

        • shotho June 19, 2020 at 1:41 pm #

Cultural marxism refers to the process of infiltrating major social institutions with marxist principles. It may be overly simplistic but explanatory nevertheless.

          • K-Dog June 20, 2020 at 6:53 pm #

Ou contraire. I just have happened to have learned something about this. Part of marxism was taken and rewritten. THUS CHANGING ITS MEANING.

Cultural bastardized Marxism would be more accurate.

But the hate of all things ‘Marxist’ is the lingua franca of America and is guaranteed to cause much anal leakage. Hence lightweights throw the term around with copious abandon.

        • Vadrosaul June 19, 2020 at 2:42 pm #

The only aspects of Marxism that are internally consistent and can be actually applied in reality are things like cooperatives and hierarchical communes. The rest of Marx’s ramblings are flowery rhetoric that falls apart in the face of innate human tendencies established by hard science and quantitative social science.

And of course the long-term viability of things like cooperatives and hierarchical communes is sketchy, requiring its proponents to marry themselves to the No-True-Scotsman fallacy. On the other hand, free-market capitalism (with rational restrictions based on the aforementioned innate human tendencies) didn’t have to be installed by fiat. Rather, it is what people leaned towards by default.

    • K-Dog June 19, 2020 at 1:23 pm #

Thou shall not kill means EVERYBODY!

When it takes a hundred words to explain to me that if you really mean it you should not have an issue accepting BLM as just part of the mix and I should just chill you are not getting that you protest way too much. Or that you are insulting Christianity.

All lives matter, no exceptions. Anything else is a slide down a slippery slope. “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

And not some more than others. If JC had been thinking of America he would have added that.

Juneteenth is not a Holiday in our office. Nor is Robert E Lee’s birthday. We have to work a few days a year. I congratulated some friends on surviving Ramadan on Eid al Fitr but was not invited for the party this year. We don’t need to all celebrate each other’s Holidays unless we can go the UBI route and forego work to celebrate everyday our each and every uniqueness.

If I wasn’t naturally curious, I’d stop reading and listening to the news and drink vodka continuously. I’ve stated many times that change is inevitable, But, geez, it’s being thrown in my face. Mr. Peabody will not be coming to send me back to the 1950’s.

BTW, I prefer a raccoon-tail reduction to go along with my milkweed pods.

      Vodka GOOD.
Titos is best but I have found Nirvana in a very inexpensive jug called Vitali 4X distilled and about $10 bucks for a handle.

I’m not too fussy with brand names. Personally, I’ve found that Stoli’s goes down very smoothly for me, and I’ve enjoyed many a Stoli’s drunk. Life is too short to worry about money when I’m enjoying myself.

In the old days I used to drink Harvey Wallbangers with any kind of Vodka. Boy did that get me good and buzzed.

I’ll let you in on a little personal secret of mine. I’ve gotten wicked hangovers – the kind you can’t wait until you barf – but only from gin and rum. I found that drinking vodka never, ever gets me sick. In fact, I usually wake up the morning after feeling real good, even if I’ve drunk a lot. So now I only drink vodka.

It may seem that I’m a big-time drinker, but I’m actually not.

Doctors have a formula, when they ask you how much you drink. They apply it to your answer to get something nearer the truth. 🙂

Last night I had one Amaretto on the rocks. Other than having one beer on Thursday nights with my pizza, this Amaretto was the first drink I’ve had since February. I don’t know, does this make me a big-time drinker? I do plan on having tonight what’s called a roasted, toasted almond. AA, here I come!

          • GreenAlba June 21, 2020 at 1:38 pm #

I was kidding, beantown! With the beer my other half gets through when he’s not working I think he’s got shares in an aluminium recycling plant. 🙂

My memory may be faulty but wasn’t it about 1956 that Middle-America “discovered” vodka, which up until then was considered some kind of exotic Russian commie drink?

Hollywood and Manhattan have always had a love affair with it (when Errol Flynn was prohibited from drinking on the set he ate oranges instead – injected with – yep – vodka), but I clearly remember in my late 1960s college days vodka roaring into popularity as the ” next big thing”. In large part because of the “no odor / no hangover” reputation it gained.

(Ancient history: at 79 my system retaliates swiftly if I have more than one beer or one cocktail.)

          • beantownbill. June 21, 2020 at 4:28 pm #

I’m four years younger, and I hope it doesn’t come down to me only being able to have just one beer. Who said the golden years were golden?

Fortunately i didn’t begin drinking (alcohol) until my mid 60s so am able to indulge, but only to excess.
Mid 70s now and too much is barely enough

Its been awhile since I have managed to get past four at once or even four all month.
Drinking to excess just hurts to much and what once took a morning to get over now takes me days.

Which city will become the first to be so dangerous the trucker will refuse to enter?
The hungry mobs may offer to negotiate, ‘ya think?

    • lateStarter June 19, 2020 at 11:09 am #

I started to think about this (Miami, Atlanta, etc) and then it seemed to me the best answer was not to live in a big city. After the first couple of trucks get torched, it might become apparent that local/regional is a better solution to survival.

But, just to take part in your poll, I’m going with a city in the south-east.

Progressivism is really Vatican Nazism marketed to ignorant idiots. The CIA is has been completely Nazified by imported Nazi war criminals and their control of the MSM is evident in the results we all are seeing.

The US is walking the path of Germany of the 1930s. The playbook is almost one to one. In 1933 Hitler appointed Hermann Goring as his interior minister. His first orders were to de-fund and eliminate police departments so that they would not interfere with his Brown Shirts whose mission it was to riot, burn, beat up and kill citizens in an effort to sway elections.

      • RocketDoc June 19, 2020 at 4:02 pm #

This is not new. Why bring this up now? Since I am descended from Alabama dirt farmers but happen to know these Germans, I can attest to their contributions to the cultural life of our USA southern town. They were moved here in 1951 and were responsible for putting Americans on the moon. These Paperclip renegades started the symphony, the the theater, the Planetarium and were good citizens for 40 years. Frankly, I knew their children in high school but my parents knew the original Paperclip scientists. My father watched the F-1 engine tests with vonBraun. The civic center is named after him and you will find no one who knows vonBraun say anything but that he was a genius and a giant among men.
So. The evil Nazis come to Huntsville, Al., start a new life without paying for their sins, and are the reason NASA succeeded in even having a successful space program. If we wanted to try them in 1946 and hang them–justice served, our loss. But forgiveness is a Christian virtue and if they repaid it with remorse and repentance then perhaps we can accept their contributions? I can understand that Jews with dead parents might look for revenge (or let’s call it justice).
Is Annie Jacobsen a truth-seeker or an opportunist? I do not dispute her story. The CIA put Rheinhard Gehlen on the payroll to combat the Soviets and we put Paperclip scientists on the payroll to jump start a rocket program. Is there some moral failure here?

        • akmofo June 19, 2020 at 5:01 pm #

Lovely that you know some of this history, most don’t. Also lovely that it bothers you none.

I’m highly entertained by black music, and when they burn your cracker ass alive hiding up a tree, I’ll be highly anticipating their next contribution to my Jazz music collection and tapping happily to the beat.

You think there be some moral failure here? I don’t think so.

You do know some people went along to get along right?
Not every German was a goose stepping nazi by choice their country and society simply went insane.
Hell watching what is going on in my country now makes me fell sympathy for the average German pre WWII since I don’t believe nor want to be part of the BLM or antifa movement.
Yet here we are seems I am a small subset who see the insanity for what it is something bad is afoot for anyone not woke if this continues down the illogical path.

          • akmofo June 20, 2020 at 1:52 pm #

Maybe some did at first, but that excuse does not hold for what happened later. These “scientists” were responsible for horrific chemical and biological experimentation on people and the most gruesome torture and murders possible. Our German “progressives” were working slave labor to death with such disregard for life that people died from exhaustion within weeks. These “super humans” were involved in hunting and capturing groups of civilians forced them to dig their own graves. They then shot them dead and took pictures of these mass murders as “funny souvenirs”. These “soldiers” gathered captured villagers into churches synagogues barns and lit them on fire burning alive the people herded inside. These refined “super humans” stole anything they could grab their hands on including shoes kids toys coats and ripped people’s teeth out for gold fillings. These artistic monsters made lampshades out of people’s skin, and soap from their bodies. These were the Vatican’s educated children acting out the Vatican’s modern inquisition, Ben. Never forget that.

This is what the US let in, and what it elevated to the highest heights. God has a sense of humor, karma does not.

    • shotho June 19, 2020 at 11:58 am #

Man, you just don’t give up on the Vatican thing, do you? I’m a Catholic from birth and will always be one, even though I have my own thoughts on various aspects of theology. But, do you have any idea how weak and disintegrating is the Church of Rome today? The current pope, Bergoglio, is right out of the script department of a bad movie. He knows his place is to position the Church into the globalist movement of cultural marxism, thinking, I suppose, that he will be on the winning side of current affairs. He is simply the latest of disaffected clerics who think they have overruled the teaching of Our Lord in favor of post-modernism. Woe unto them!

      • akmofo June 19, 2020 at 12:26 pm #

There’s a lot of suppressed information out there that tells a different story. And it’s not the narrative you are made or want to believe, but rather the opposite. The Vatican is not mindlessly following Communism. Just think how ridiculous is that on the face of it! That the Vatican would mindlessly be following anything! This is a very deliberate organization, made of very deliberate and well educated persons and they have a long long long running agenda.

The real and suppressed narrative is that the Vatican is the one creating sponsoring and guiding communism throughout the world. And yes, Socialism Fascism Nazism Progressivism are just marketing terms for Communism and Roman Satanism. There’s ample evidence to show that this cultural movement and its global manifestations has been scripted and craftily staged as if it was a theater play, if people only opened their eyes and cared to look.

        • shotho June 19, 2020 at 1:45 pm #

The script and stage were set two thousand years ago and has nothing to do with any of your -ism’s. If the Vatican had the power to ‘create, sponsor, and guide’ communism, it would have been in charge of the world long before now.

          • akmofo June 19, 2020 at 2:11 pm #

The Vatican is very much so in charge of the world! There’s no doubt about that! Only that for obvious reasons it has made itself deliberately invisible in doing so, through its control of the publishing houses and media propaganda outlets. True, the Vatican doesn’t have the intellectual power to come up with new ideas of its own, but it does very much have the political diplomatic financial cultural social and institutionalized power (such as secret “intelligence agencies”) to manipulate and guide these ideas towards their ancient agenda of a Roman feudalistic slave society and the denial of the Hebrew God and his precepts, including freedom and morality. In other words, their ancient agenda is that of the establishment, or re-establishment, if you would, of global Satanism.

        • SW June 19, 2020 at 6:36 pm #

What suppressed information? Where is the proof? And they’re losing parishioners by the droves so I don’t see how they’re growing in numbers. You say “there’s ample evidence” — but what is it?

          • akmofo June 19, 2020 at 8:08 pm #

Search the terms: Vatican + Romanism + Forbidden + books

And don’t use google, because google scrubbed these books and this information.

            Use: https://searchconservative.com

There is a list of hundreds of suppressed history books that deal with the horrific and genocidal history of the Vatican and its agents. These history books lay bare the deliberately concealed Satanic machinations of the Vatican and blood curdling horrors they are responsible for.

          • akmofo June 19, 2020 at 10:29 pm #

The other proof, SW, is that you never heard of these books or their content. And practically no one else has either. They have made dissent invisible and therefore nonexistent. There is no public discourse of this content. There are no courses in school and University about this. There no media echo chambers hammering home this narrative and understanding. And thus when someone talks to you about this, it sounds so outrageous so outlandish so alien, you automatically recoil in contemptuous disbelief. That’s the power of propaganda. It’s not only what you hear and see, it’s also what’s you don’t hear and see.

In other words, they are all the same. They all lead to the same dead end of anti-biblical Roman Satanism.

They are all part a stupid Vatican staged and scripted fake dialectic.

          • scoubidou123 June 20, 2020 at 10:52 am #

Where to start with your nonsense? Let’s start with nazism.
As a background, catholics are about 30% of the population of Germany. A minority. In living memory, the Kulturkampf showed them that they could be a persecuted minority in Germany. During the 1870s in Prussia, nearly 1,800 priests ended up in jail or in exile, nearly half the monks and nuns had left Prussia, a third of the monasteries and convents were closed. Between 1872 and 1878, numerous Catholic newspapers were confiscated, Catholic associations and assemblies were dissolved, and Catholic civil servants were dismissed. Thousands of laypeople were imprisoned for assisting priests to evade the punitive new laws
            [to be continuerd]

          • scoubidou123 June 20, 2020 at 10:53 am #

The Church was aware early of the dangers of nazism. SInce 1917, cardinal Pacelli, your so-called “nazi pope”, future WWII pope Pius XII, had been nuncio to Bavaria. He would write that ”nazism is the worst heresy of our time” and report about Hitler: “he is a man who would walk over corpses and trample anything that gets in his way. I cannot understand so many people in Germany, even the best, fail to see this[…] Who, among all these people, has even read that hair-raising book Mein Kampf?”

          • scoubidou123 June 20, 2020 at 10:54 am #

During the 1920s, opposition of the Church to nazism was total. Nazis were pagan Wotan-worshippers. Nazis were denied the sacraments and church burials, and Catholics were forbidden to enter the nazi party. That was public knowledge. The german bishops had their annual gathering in Fulda, and then issued their condemnations on nazis. Catholic journalists excoriated National Socialism daily in Germany’s 400 Catholic newspapers. In early 1931, the German bishops excommunicated the Nazi leadership and banned Catholics from the party [https://www.defendingthebride.com/sn/1930pwf.jpg ]
In each election leading to the election of Hitler, the catholic bishops would recommend not to vote nazi but rather Zentrum, to vote for the protestant von Hindenburg rather than Hitler if it came to that. Nazis got their vote in the protestant north and east, not the catholic Länder. Look it up, it’s a matter of record. The Nazis were saying again and again that they were just implementing Luther’s program of persecution and destruction of Jews preached in his book “Of Jews and their Lies”. Was Luther catholic? Hmm…

          • scoubidou123 June 20, 2020 at 10:56 am #

Having failed to prevent the rise to power of Hitler, the catholic church then had to cope with a popular government legitimized by elections. It came to a reluctant truce with the German government of the “stop telling lies about us and I’ll stop telling the truth about you” variety, but tensions were constant. In the Night of the Long Knives of June 1934, many lay catholics were murdered, like Erich Klausener, the leader of Catholic Action, Fritz Gerlich, newspaper journalist, editor of Munich’s Catholic weekly and several leaders of the disbanded catholic Party Zentrum (Center)
Here is an illustration of how the nazi press viewed the Catholic Church: https://www.defendingthebride.com/sn/pacellilarge.jpg
Yep, that is cardinal Pacelli, future pope Pius XII, your supposedly “Nazi pope”, as viewed by actual nazis rather than your pig-ignorant hate-filled brain: in league with the International Communist Jewry to poison Germany. When he was elected Pope Pius XII, the nazi press howled with outrage for the Jew-loving pope.

          • scoubidou123 June 20, 2020 at 10:57 am #

I guess now is the time to introduce you to the encyclical ‘Mit brennender Sorge’, much of which was written by your supposedly “nazi pope”, smuggled into Germany and secretly printed and distributed to all german parishes in 1937 and read aloud in all parishes. A few quotes:
            – Whoever exalts race, or the people, or the State, or a particular form of State, or the depositories of power, or any other fundamental value of the human community – however necessary and honorable be their function in worldly things – whoever raises these notions above their standard value and divinizes them to an idolatrous level, distorts and perverts an order of the world planned and created by God; he is far from the true faith in God
            – None but superficial minds could stumble into concepts of a national God, of a national religion; or attempt to lock within the frontiers of a single people, within the narrow limits of a single race, God, the Creator of the universe, King and Legislator of all nations before whose immensity they are “as a drop of a bucket”
Read it in full. It has a long list of grievances and conflicts between the nazis and the Church. Catholic press, schools, and youth organizations were closed, property was confiscated, and about one-third of its clergy faced reprisals from authorities. But you may be surprised to find that it also excoricated the Nazis for their attempts to purge the Old Testament (too “jewish” for them) from the Bible.
Throughout the world, newspapers reported this as the Pope against hitlerism. That encyclical drove the nazis mad. Hermann Göring delivered a two-hour harangue to a Nazi assembly against the Catholic clergy. Kids distributing the text were thrown in jail, printing presses were seized, and hundreds of people sent either to prison or the concentration camps.
That year , the Nazis gathered dissident priests in a dedicated barracks at Dachau, where 95 percent of its 2,720 inmates were Catholic; over 1,000 priests died there.

          • scoubidou123 June 20, 2020 at 10:57 am #

Do I need to remind you that WWII was started when Hitler invaded one of the most catholic countries in Europe, Poland? It eviscerated the country, sent most of its intelligentsia, which often were priests, nuns or monks, to prison or the death camps

          • scoubidou123 June 20, 2020 at 11:11 am #

So there you have it. The nazi Catholic Church of your fevered hallucination. Actually fighting nazism every step of the way, in the measure of its limited means, both before it came to power and then under the thumb of its ruthless totalitarian government, and being rewarded for it by having its schools, its political party, its newspapers closed, its leaders murdered, its priests sent to concentration camps. By the nazis. The “Vatican nazis”.

          • scoubidou123 June 20, 2020 at 11:49 am #

            On to fascism now.

Insasmuch as they had any ideology, fascists hated bourgeois society and democracy which they viewed as weak. It worshipped force. Might. Military power. It had nothing but contempt for Christianity and its turn the other cheek and the meek shall inherit the Earth nonsense. Like nazis, they viewed Christianity as a religion for slaves.

Blackshirts targetted all organizations, including the catholic ones. There were street fights, catholic processions were attacked, the Catholic Action office was ransacked by fascists shrieking “down with the pope! Death to the pope”.

Hence another encyclical, against fascism, the 1931 ‘Non Abbiamo Bisogno’ (we don’t need). A few quotes:

the resolve to monopolize completely the young for the exclusive advantage of a party and of a regime based on an ideology which clearly resolves itself into a true, a real pagan worship of the State – the “Statolatry” which is no less in contrast with the natural rights of the family than it is in contradiction with the supernatural rights of the Church. This usurpation goes so far as to snatch the young from Christ and His Church even with violence.

You ask us what is to be thought about the formula of the oath, that they will execute orders without discussion from an authority which, as we have seen and experienced, can give orders against all truth and justice and in disregard of the rights of the Church and its souls. Takers of this oath must swear to serve with all their strength, even to the shedding of blood, the cause of a revolution which snatches the young from the Church and from Jesus Christ, and which inculcates in its own young people hatred, violence and irreverence. […]Such an oath, as it stands, is unlawful.

Now let’s move on to the excesses of unbridled capitalism.

The Church was well aware that this was a pressing issue that needed attention, and popes wrote many encyclicals on the topic of what could be called social justice.

            Leo XIII Rerum Novarum [1891]
According to natural reason and Christian philosophy, working for gain is creditable, not shameful, to a man, since it enables him to earn an honorable livelihood; but to misuse men as though they were things in the pursuit of gain, or to value them solely for their physical powers—that is truly shameful and inhuman.

Let the working man and the employer make free agreements, and in particular let them agree freely as to the wages; nevertheless, there underlies a dictate of natural justice more imperious and ancient than any bargain between man and man, namely, that wages ought not to be insufficient to support a frugal and well-behaved wage-earner. If through necessity or fear of a worse evil the workman accept harder conditions because an employer or contractor will afford him no better, he is made the victim of force and injustice

The employer must never tax his work people beyond their strength, or employ them in work unsuited to their sex and age. His great and principal duty is to give every one what is just.

Wealthy owners and all masters of labor should be mindful of this—that to exercise pressure upon the indigent and the destitute for the sake of gain, and to gather one’s profit out of the need of another, is condemned by all laws, human and divine. To defraud any one of wages that are his due is a great crime which cries to the avenging anger of Heaven. […] Lastly, the rich must religiously refrain from cutting down the workmen’s earnings, whether by force, by fraud, or by usurious dealing; and with all the greater reason because the laboring man is, as a rule, weak and unprotected, and because his slender means should in proportion to their scantiness be accounted sacred.

Those whom fortune favors are warned that riches do not bring freedom from sorrow and are of no avail for eternal happiness, but rather are obstacles; that the rich should tremble at the threatenings of Jesus Christ

The same themes were taken up again in Pius XI’s 1931 ‘Quadragesimo anno’

          • akmofo June 20, 2020 at 2:17 pm #

Save your BULLSHIT lies for the ignorant idiots.

The Vatican was the FIRST to diplomatically recognize the Nazis. The Vatican clergy was actively recruiting and campaigning for the Nazis. Every Nazi rally was full of the highest level Vatican clergy enthusiastically giving the Hitler salute. The Vatican never ever issues any condemnation of the Nazis. The Vatican helped 100,000 Nazi criminals escape Europe via Vatican ratlines and Vatican passports. The Nazis were the Vatican’s modern instruments of the Inquisition. Same for the Commies, btw.

You are despicable creatures of mass deceit mass murder and mass callousness. Your days of living hell and extinction will come as surely as it did for your lizard cousins, the dinosaurs. You will not escape God’s justice you disgusting villains and plague on humanity.

Thanks for your work. I was particularly grateful for the reminder of LeoXIII ‘s 1891 encyclical. This work lays out the basis of true socialist thinking (whether he recognized it or not) and social justice.

However, you’re wasting your time if you have any expectation that akmofo will hear, let alone accept, actual facts. Still, I hope many others hereabouts have appreciated this look at reality.

          • scoubidou123 June 22, 2020 at 11:08 am #

I did not really expect to convince akmofo, just to make him squirm. It was predictable that he’d go LALALA I CAN’T HEAR YOU!

Maybe time for a confession. I grew up in a catholic family. I came to reject its theology as I grew up. But in recent years I noticed a curious thing. Investigating the horrible crimes of the catholic church generally made me realise with surprise that the accusations were wrong, well mostly.

I had heard the “Church was pro-nazi” myth, and without knowing much I thought it must have been true. It made superficial sense. The Church was anti-communist, so it could have sided with nazis against communism. But then I decided to investigate. I read the Hitler’s pope book etc. Then checked what the other side had to say. I was blown away. Historical reality is so clearly the opposite of the myth. I posted these messages less to convince akmofo who ever more clearly lives in a world of his own, but to share what I found with others, who like me may never have been aware of history.

And the same thing happened with several other anti-catholic common slurs, which upon research turned out to be canards. Oh, the witch-burning Inquisition! Well, actually, not really. In fact it mostly tried to calm down witch-burning mobs. Oh, the catholic church did not even believe Native Americans had soul! Well, no that was never a debate, of course they had souls.

        • scoubidou123 June 20, 2020 at 12:38 pm #

It beggars belief that someone could contemplate Communism as a Vatican conspiracy.

But since I’m on a roll with papal encyclicals…

          Pius XI’s Divini Redemptoris (1937)
“This modern revolution exceeds in amplitude and violence anything yet experienced in the preceding persecutions launched against the Church. Entire peoples find themselves in danger of falling back into a barbarism worse than that which oppressed the greater part of the world at the coming of the Redeemer.”

“This all too imminent danger, Venerable Brethren, as you have already surmised, is bolshevistic and atheistic Communism, which aims at upsetting the social order and at undermining the very foundations of Christian civilization.”

“In the face of such a threat, the Catholic Church could not and does not remain silent. This Apostolic See, above all, has not refrained from raising its voice, for it knows that its proper and social mission is to defend truth, justice and all those eternal values which Communism ignores or attacks. Our Predecessors overtly and explicitly drew the attention of the world to the consequences of the dechristianization of human society. With reference to Communism, Our Venerable Predecessor, Pius IX, of holy memory, as early as 1846 pronounced a solemn condemnation against “that infamous doctrine of so-called Communism which is absolutely contrary to the natural law itself, and if once adopted would utterly destroy the rights, property and possessions of all men, and even society itself.” Later on, another of Our predecessors, the immortal Leo XIII, in his Encyclical Quod Apostolici Muneris, defined Communism as “the fatal plague which insinuates itself into the very marrow of human society only to bring about its ruin.”

          • scoubidou123 June 20, 2020 at 12:40 pm #

“The most persistent enemies of the Church, who from Moscow are directing the struggle against Christian civilization, themselves bear witness, by their unceasing attacks in word and act, that even to this hour the Papacy has continued faithfully to protect the sanctuary of the Christian religion, and that it has called public attention to the perils of Communism more frequently and more effectively than any other public authority on earth.”

“Where Communism has been able to assert its power – and here We are thinking with special affection of the people of Russia and Mexico – it has striven by every possible means, as its champions openly boast, to destroy Christian civilization and the Christian religion by banishing every remembrance of them from the hearts of men, especially of the young. Bishops and priests were exiled, condemned to forced labor, shot and done to death in inhuman fashion; laymen suspected of defending their religion were vexed, persecuted, dragged off to trial and thrown into prison.”

“Not only this or that church or isolated monastery was sacked, but as far as possible every church and every monastery was destroyed. Every vestige of the Christian religion was eradicated, even though intimately linked with the rarest monuments of art and science. The fury of Communism has not confined itself to the indiscriminate slaughter of Bishops, of thousands of priests and religious of both sexes; it searches out above all those who have been devoting their lives to the welfare of the working classes and the poor. But the majority of its victims have been laymen of all conditions and classes. Even up to the present moment, masses of them are slain almost daily for no other offense than the fact that they are good Christians or at least opposed to atheistic Communism.”

          • scoubidou123 June 20, 2020 at 12:46 pm #

            Or in a nutshell:
“Communism is intrinsically wrong, and no one who would save Christian civilization may collaborate with it in any undertaking whatsoever”

How much clearer can this get?

The best book about the Marxist Revolution in the ’60s I ever read is:

“The Troubles: A Jaundiced Glance Back at the Movement of the Sixties” by Joseph R. Conlin

I was not an active participant, just watched this BS from afar when I was not occupied otherwise.

But I can sign every page in this book and certify it at the notary public because it is precisely my very thoughts, only clearly stated.

Mr Conlin writes that the Revolution began May 12,1960 in San Fran during the HUAC meeting.

And it totally ended May 4,1970 at Kent State when National Guardsman killed 4 punks who were throwing stones at him.

And that was it.70’s were quite peaceful compared to ’60s.

Something like that will happen now well before all our monuments will be torn down and all the sacred places desecrated.

        Those were parallel developments.

What started in Dealey Plaza is described in “The taking of America,1-2-3” by Richard E. Sprague.

This slim 112 page book is long forgotten but electronic copy still floats on the internet.

I suspect that this Richard Sprague cat actually is highly intelligent extra-terrestrial who assumed the form of public prosecutor.

It is fun to watch us,mere mortals…

No publisher would touch this book even with a 10-feet pole.So it appeared first in “Computers and Automation” magazine,of all places 🙂

I find it interesting that growing up in Birmingham, AL that the term “The troubles” is so broadly used. That’s the way we referred to the demonstrations and sit ins. I understand the Irish used the same term.

      • John1945 June 19, 2020 at 4:59 pm #

Joseph Conlin is Irish by the way.
        Or “Mick” in American parlance.
In preface to this book he draws parallel between Irish Troubles 1920-1970 and American Troubles 1960-1970

Out on the torrent networks, you’ll see there are **massive** numbers of people downloading the original version of “Gone with the Wind”. I jumped on there last night to get a copy and was shocked at so many trying to get pristine copies of this old film.

If you like him, the Critical Drinker has a short video on Why Art Matters, and how art shouldn’t be “altered” due to the whines of the sky-screamers:

One last thing: something big is brewing. I have a bad feeling that no matter how bad these first 6 months have been, something bigger is lurking out on the horizon. It’s as if our Elite are in slash-and-burn mode. Let everything burn, because we’re preparing for something far worse and want to get the hell prepared.

We know that the financial system was heading into the pit last Fall. Do the elite realize they can’t hold it together any more? Is the ecological collapse going exponential? Maybe. Siberia has been in the 90s for the last couple of weeks. I think this new decade is just getting started on the chaos.

    • Nightowl June 19, 2020 at 11:05 am #

A lot of folks I trust are joking that the New Normal seed the media is planting is the Western version of Year Zero.

I think this is gonna end up pretty accurate if things are seen through.

    • Jeremy June 19, 2020 at 11:12 am #

      Siberia on May 22, 2020 was 30°C or 54°F higher than 1979-2000.

      • wet dog June 19, 2020 at 11:39 am #

Thank you for that link. I read Arctic News too, but missed that story. It’s still hard to believe that Siberia is in the mid-90s.

Some “nutty” environmentalists I was reading back in 2005 warned that if the methane started thawing in Siberia, it was game over and there would be run-away global warming. Methane is far worse than carbon dioxide.

The signs point that the thawing is happening and positive feedback loops are too. I’ve been recommending to people who are looking for homes to imagine what the temperatures will be in 20 years. Is the summer in the 90s now? Be prepared for 105 in 20 years. And it’s damn hard to grow veggies in the 90s.

I’d suggest looking for places that are in the 70s or 80s now, while being rainy and foggy much of the time.

        • K-Dog June 19, 2020 at 12:51 pm #

Guy McPherson and you are right he is ‘nutty’. Guy made a dinner theatre act out of his message. I saw him, along with 3 other people in Seattle about four years ago at the ‘Royal Room’. He was having a slow night.

Guy is still around and he has disciples. His disciples don’t mess around and expect us to all be extinct by end of next year. It is always next year so don’t write down 2021 just yet.

The methane bomb is absolutely real but it is a slow burn that will take a few years to ‘explode’. The total amount of methane released will also not cook the planet as Guy thinks it will. Earth will not become a second Venus and will only have palm trees in the Antarctic for a few thousand years.

A fearmonger no better than a Nazi. I used to be very tolerant about what Guy is doing but I changed my mind.

Many people can’t grasp that positive feedback has a number associated with it like the R0 number of virus infection. For them it has to be this way or that way without a chance for anything else in between. Future archeologists digging through strata of North American plastic will note this way of thinking as primitive.

Yes methane will cause more warming but the amount of warming and the speed at which it happens is determined by numbers in an equation. Guy does not bother to try and put real numbers on the feedback equation and seeks to sell fear and cultivate the attention of his minions instead. So fuck him.

Arctic news tends to be on the extremist side but guess what? The Arctic really is melting and polar bears really are screwed. We really will have a blue ocean in the arctic summer sea soon. And another feedback happens when the white polar ice goes and the sea is blue. A blue ocean absorbs more heat and that will cause methane hydrates to sublimate a bit faster.

I did enjoy Guy’s talk and I will also see David Icke if David comes to town. I know about Lizard people and have a few things to tell David abut them. I left Guy a good tip. He gave a performance to the four of us the same way as if he was talking before 100 other people. Hats off to that.

And both equations added together don’t mean Venus and might only mean human extinction. And certainly not as near term an extinction as Guy thinks it will be.

Next year, give me a break. Ha Ha.

          • wet dog June 19, 2020 at 2:27 pm #

Yeah, I agree that Guy is over the top. He seems to like the attention and drama.

But the blue ocean event will be a major milestone. I think we’re within 10 years of that event – I would very much like to be wrong on that, because the weather will shift drastically at that point.

Even without the climate warming, I still think we’re facing a bottleneck. Everyone is bankrupt, and eventually that will implode; the energy situation is serious; and the natural world is in bad shape.

          • Jeremy June 19, 2020 at 6:04 pm #

Guy has lost his mind. These days he’s caught equity fever and now gives a daily stock market update. Can you believe what a sell out he now is!

      • RocketDoc June 19, 2020 at 4:14 pm #

It’s interesting that I am replying to you on another subject. Alabama has had the most glorious spring and early summer that I can remember. Not so hot days, cooler nights, less humidity. Today, Juneteenth, began cool and even now is only 85. We are normally over 90 by May 1st and cooking this time of year. I am glad to have a little bit of that Siberian air but it bodes ill for the future.

Good news out of Texas — The Eyes of Texas school song written over 110 years ago has been exposed for the vile dog-whistle tune it is. Because it portrays all the homeless people as being drug addicts and criminals. It implies homeless people deserve their fate. Since I live here I know better. I have interacted with these people.

Many are mentally ill but the number of normal people who have been left behind and cut out of ‘the growth economy’ is staggering and growing is beyond count. Considering the number of normal homeless people about to be forced onto the streets a video like this can be deleted. Keeping it around gives a wrong impression. It was flawed a year ago and now it just does not apply or reflect reality at all.

The repeat offender should not be confused with being homeless. They are different things. This video makes you believe they are exactly the same thing and that only bad people become homeless. It reflects an attitude that in ten years has done nothing to solve the homeless problem in Seattle and gives you the impression you are informed. Contrary to fact.

The homeless population has significant diversity and includes all sorts of people down on their luck but this elitist crock would make you think otherwise. A solution to the problem must be multifaceted.

          Does that answer your question?

No holiday either for the (white) indentured servants (forced labor on the installment plan) who by some estimates made up about half of the population of the thirteen colonies in 1776. They also predated African slaves by about a decade so I’m all but certain the NYT will soon be devoting considerable resources to the newly-minted 1609 Project™.

This might be in the top ten of paragraphs you have ever written:

“Historians of the future, boiling acorns over their campfires (a nice accompaniment to cattail tubers and milkweed pods in a squirrel-tail reduction), will marvel that the Democrats back in the woeful year 2020 thought that burning down the country would be a winning election strategy. Has anyone been fooled by the party’s straight-up support, comfort, and incitement of this season’s looting and arson? Now that all the old statues are torn down, beheaded, or drowned, will future statues of statesman Joe Biden portray him at his most heroic, with a face-mask dangling from one ear as he scours the vacant chambers of his prefrontal cortex for a fugitive homily?”

I realize there is a massive chunk–I like that word–of your work to experience, but this paragraph has taken me prisoner…

      Just the beginning.

  18. 4014HAMPHEDGE June 19, 2020 at 11:37 am #

The United States Railroad Administration came along at the end of World War One and in spite of faults inherent with government operations, persisted through the end of the Spanish Influenza circa 1922. USRA spec locomotives included Pacific, Mountain, Santa Fe, articulated and switch engine common standard designs.

During almost universal US post-WWI quarantine, surely resulting in famine owing to impacts on food deliveries, the USRA railroads assured food transport to local warehousing, produce markets and operating food processing facilities. Key local level victuals transport in refrigerated rail lcars was assured to retail grocery stores via ubiquitous Interurban Electric Railway matrix usually affiliated with electric companies of respective locales.

When the police resign in disgust, get sick and/or suffer a period of salary diversion to fuzzy fantasies of political correct fair play, most likely the truckers already in a pandemic scenario just may be less dependable food store supply chain participants. Unlike the days before “Just-In-Time” food supply based on multiple daily trucking movements, America now finds most all the food chain rail matrix has been removed. Efficient trunk line cargo railways tasked to move Chinese goods in containers do not have dispersed enroute tractors & lifts needed to unload containers at local points for food distribution.

US Famine Hedge consists of millions of trucks now, and this spells existential trouble when the trucks are parked because drivers are sick, refuse to enter unsafe downtowns, not mentioning fuel supply issues from false flag EMP events and kinetic sabotage against utilities, etc. Disguntled ANTIFAS have just begun to fight whitey,

Some wealth with initiative might be interested in seeing spv.co.uk source for all time US rail line Atlas/Map Books, helpful to relocate & replace the agriculture branch rail lines once essential guarantors in farm to fork doings. Maybe we are already out of time to rebuild full complement of needed food district rail links, but certainly container handling can be dispersed & some existing rural rust streaks can be rehabilitated as baby steps before the curtain drops. See Dt 28.

Bringing Black Lives Matter out again tells me two things:
One, that Donald Trump did make some inroads among potential black voters, and two, Barack Obama knows that he is in danger of doing real time for his crimes.

I don’t think there i much chance of that, but then again I’m not the one who committed acts that could send me to prison.

Why do you do this to me? I have a lawn to mow.

But a February NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found that just 14% of black voters approved of the job Trump was doing. Gallup polls put his average black approval ratings at 10% in 2017, 11% in 2018, and 10% through November of 2019.

          • K-Dog June 19, 2020 at 7:07 pm #

What people say in polls verses what people do when going to them are not the same thing.
Angry people take polls and most of these polls are massaged or leading.
So who exactly is answering these polls and how were they written.

Let me remind you Hillary in a landslide.
5 million voters taken off the California register alone.

Reparations are a dumb and immoral idea but rioting coan’t result in a negative number. White agent provocateurs employed by conservative elements to bring on boogaloo are doing the property damage. Will America be fooled? The jury is out but yes, most likely.

Historians around the campfire talking about 2020 won’t be happening. The Democrats will be as important as the Whigs in the campfire future. If you know who the Whigs were give yourself five points. How much meat is on a squirrel tail will be more important and the year 2020 will leave a bad taste in everyones’ mouth. I’ve got lots of Black squirrels around my place. Gray squirrels with a black phase sorta like a Black Panthers. They are more aggressive than the regular Grays. Always pushing the grays off the feeder.Any body else have them?

          “Any body else have them?”

We don’t have black squirrels here – I’ve only seen them once and that was in the US. I love the shy red ones – always under siege from the greys but making a comeback since the deliberate introduction of pine martens to keep the greys under control.

    Wednesday I watched the riot
I seen the cops out on the street
Watched ’em throwin’ rocks and stuff
    And chokin’ in the heat
    Listened to reports
    About the whisky passin’ ’round
    Seen the smoke and fire
    And the market burnin’ down
Watched while everybody on his street would take a turn
    To stomp n’ smash n’ bash n’ crash n’ slash n’ bust n’ burn

And I’m watchin’ and I’m waitin’

Nice. Covers that retracted HCQ study, too.

Public hysteria on just about every topic is the underlying force — Breaking News! Tune in @6 for details! — and anyone who intimates there are two sides to stories is punished. Free speech is gone for all practical purposes.

The police will be more reluctant in the future to arrest anyone or have their actions questioned and (in the case of the Atlanta policeman) be abandoned to the legal system.

In his 50s, Key became an adviser to President Andrew Jackson, who was also a wealthy self-made Southern slaveholder.

At the same time, Key was named by Jackson as the U.S. district attorney for the nation’s capital, where he prosecuted race and slavery laws to the fullest extent, even to the death penalty. He also aggressively prosecuted early abolitionists, who had founded the anti-slavery movement in 1833.

Key often whispered in the ear of Jackson, the plantation owner in the White House. When he wasn’t shouting, Jackson listened. Jackson’s presidency brought brutal, racially motivated mob violence like never before, including a race riot in Washington, D.C. Jackson had no sympathy for mobs, but even less for slaves and free blacks.

Then came the worst cut of all: Key prevailed on Jackson to name Key’s own brother-in-law, Roger Taney, to the Cabinet and then to the ultimate prize: chief justice of the United States.

To be tied to the infamous Taney is a serious stain on Key’s rosy reputation. Like Key, Taney was a native of Maryland, a state steeped in slavery, where Frederick Douglass was born. Taney and Key were friends before Roger met and married Key’s sister. That’s how small the antebellum South was for wealthy white men.

Roundly hated north of the Mason-Dixon line, Taney lived long enough to author the 1857 Dred Scott Supreme Court opinion, the most starkly racist high court decision in history. Taney struck down the argument that free blacks could become citizens in free states like Illinois and further declared that all blacks, whether slave or free, were never entitled to any rights, period.

The Dred Scott ruling landed as a public outrage. Historians consider it a catalyst for the Civil War, which broke out four years later. Taney swore in Abraham Lincoln as president in 1861, a face-to-face breaking point between the nation’s past and future.

Gun store owners… In this area, in the land of Monuments on Monument Avenue, Central Virginia, where there are, increasingly, missing monuments, gun stores are doing an incredible brisk business. It was said the B. Obama was the greatest gun salesman in US history….no longer. Several gunstore owners, when ask to discuss business, tell me the following:
      1. Next to no shotguns available. Those that are, are of questionable value at best.
      2. AR and AK platforms are available but getting slender. Likely would be gone by now but being pricing, they can, still, be gotten.
      3. Handguns; Three types of buyers. {1}.The liberal ‘guns are evil’ crowd and ‘man bun’ types are buying the cheapest junk out there. No name semis occasionally, mainly revolvers. {2}. Those that have decent or better guns looking to buy a easily concealable hand gun for themselves or wife/girlfriends. .32, .380, and to a lesser extent .25, and ‘derringer’ type. {3}. Those that have decent or better quality handguns looking for an even better quality by a manufacturer and/or calibre they are comfortable with. Long lines at the background check station at larger gun stores, by a wide demographic. I believe the 2nd Ammendment is not endangered at this time…..

Next best thing will be a website “Customers of Gun Shops” with the motto “Buying the Most Expensive Guitar will not turn you into Jimi Hendricks”

Look up the long forgotten manual “RIFLE QUICK KILL – US ARMY TT 23-71-1”

In the late 60’s Florida Man would be DI’s pet, with all the negative consequences.

Jokes aside, they actually taught Quick Kill System at the boot camp in those days.

My point is that even $100 Mosin-Nagant rifle is a perfect tool in the hands of a cat who knows what he is doing.

            Save your stimulus money,gentlemen !

And those Mosin-Nagants are American-made too.In 1916 Russian Czar ordered 2.5 million of them,Remington Rand won the contract and produced them, then Bolshevicks killed the Czar and those unclaimed rifles became fixtures at every gun show.

            Very true mr. 1945.

A few years ago Cabellas was selling refurbished Mosin Nagants for $90. I bought 2, including a M1944 carbine.

In the ‘teens’ Westinghouse took over the Stevens mfg plant in Chicopee, Mass and commenced making MNs for Czarist Russia. But the Bolsheviks took over Russia and reneged on the contract. The US govt came thru and bought them up.

I’d love to own one of those Mass made Nagants. The ones I have were made in the Tula plant outside Moscow. They are good shooters.

Racist America! Aunt Jemima has served her last pancake, O M G.

As one gal yelled ‘WHITE AMERICA SHAME ON YOU’ When OJ was found guilty in civil trial.

Earlier in the comments, someone mentioned self-segregation, sort of a peaceful separation. It’s a concept that’s neatly captured in a phrase, but it’s not really so “black-and-white.”

For one thing, it’s not black vs white. Nancy and Chuck and Chief Justice John are white, like me. But they’re not like me at all!

Second, my daughter is half white, half black, like our former president. Her children are three-quarters white, one-quarter black. Her daughter could pass for white (dark blonde, blue eyes, cinnamon skin). In 2020 it’s not at all unusual for supposedly white families to have a non-white grandchild, niece/nephew, or cousin. What side of the line do they walk on? A line that cuts through my daughter’s heart isn’t a line I can support or even recognize. It’s a line I would cross every single day.

Third, my daughter votes Democrat. My husband isn’t registered, but if he was, he probably wouldn’t vote because he doesn’t like either side. My other daughter (a millennial) leans Libertarian, sort of… A line that divides by race divides families. A line that divides by party divides families.

Even segregation by urban/rural or class, though it has little effect on me, would still divide families. I don’t believe there is a line that can be drawn that would allow for peaceful separation. Either we figure out how to come together, or our hearts will be cut to shreds.

To “come together” implies that we meet somewhere in the middle, not at the extreme left or extreme right. Those people who live and breathe at the extremes are our fellow citizens and perhaps our neighbors, who have as much right to be heard and represented as those in the middle.

It seems that these days, the extreme left is allowed to speak and shout and protest, even if it involves insurrection, looting, arson, and assault. The extreme right is not allowed to speak. Neither extreme seems particularly interested in coming together.

Why is the middle so impotent? There are large masses of people in the middle, but we allow ourselves to be ruled by forces at the extremes. We have the power of numbers. We could demand that the media get out of politics. We could demand accountability for the Russia-hoax. We could insist on the rule of law. Instead we meekly stand back wringing our hands, like cowardly parents trying to appease their rebellious child. It’s sickening.

    • King of Comedy June 20, 2020 at 11:31 am #

The Civil War was much as you describe, brother against brother, families torn apart, etc. I think we are trending in the direction of a repeat of a war that was the bloodiest in American history. Gun sales are through the roof and it certainly looks like the “authorities” have little inclination to enforce order when confronted by extreme elements. The reality is that the country has been difficult to hold together from its inception. Even when the population was overwhelmingly European, it tore itself apart and now with many disparate cultures all crammed together, there is even less common ground. A divorce is not without its problems but it is preferable to a violent resolution.

Atlanta, home to CNN – the biggest hustler in the world with stories like this one:

Take a look at this young man’s picture at the beginning of this STORY…

any non politically correct doctor would diagnose this young man as MORBIDLY OBESE and order him a sugar-free diet and regular exercise involving GOING OUTSIDE sometimes to run around (which is what young people used to do before XBox, Playstation and Binge TV not to mention running into a friend shedding live sars-cov-2). Notice how his “parents” are not obese. Oh, it’s not politically correct to attribute certain diseases to the African American race…like sickle cell anemia, obesity and diabetes…so just treat the kid as a white person because his “parents” are white.

There is a reason why Ali and his cohorts at CNN headquarters are not threatened by the anarchy around him because he and his team at CNN headquarters are the REAL heroes of history and the true historians!

They do not seemed to be threatened by the death of Cable TV to competition on the internet-the new 24 hour news and entertainment leader! What are they going to do when their figurehead Anderson Cooper can not “report” from NYC on New Years because noone is going to be allowed to show up on the streets? Oh…wait…that won’t happen because CNN is going to make sure it’s okay to defund the police everywhere that the police are an inconvenience…including Times Square.

Ted Turner sold CNN some time ago. He is a successful white guy. Who owns CNN now?

Well, mob lit CNN HQ on fire last week. They managed to put the fire out — this time.

In Portland, Oregon, 100 yo George Washington monument pulled down last night and smashed on the pavement.

Cities allowing this sort of behavior are cutting their own throats. Article in today’s paper about sudden real estate boom in rural Connecticut, people with a lot of money desperate to get out of Boston and NYC bidding against each other for available properties in our countryside and small towns. That’s going to be the upshot of the Covid-19 lockdowns, and civil disturbances in the cities: anybody can possibly get out of the city, will get out of the city.

“The protests in Atlanta capped off a complicated day for the network.
A CNN crew was arrested while giving a live report Friday [6/12/2020] morning in Minneapolis as they covered ongoing protests. The journalists were released roughly an hour later.”

I found this on wikipedia.org while looking for the owner of CNN. Nothing in the report about WHY the “journalists” were arrested. Only an HOUR in jail maybe because they were finally positively identified as press. Does anyone wear PRESS badges anymore? Or are they afraid of getting beat up by either side for one reason or another? Is that the “complication” they ran into?

“In September 2019, [John] Stankey* was promoted to AT&T president and chief operating officer. By April 1, 2020, former Hulu chief Jason Kilar took over as WarnerMedia CEO.”

*In June 2018 Stankey was CEO during the “AT&T/Time Warner integration”.

As one reads through the “complicated” history of mergers and acquisitions of Ted Turner’s and Steve Ross’ media companies, their reliance on robust infrastructure, including having captive audiences around the globe, is paramount in their decision making process.

Seems appropriate for the events of the last few months.

    Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;
    He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
    He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword;
    His truth is marching on.

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
    His truth is marching on.

    I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps;
    They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps,
    His day is marching on.

I have read His fiery gospel writ in rows of burnished steel!
“As ye deal with my contemners, so with you My grace shall deal!
Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel,”
    Since God is marching on.

    He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
    He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat;
Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him; be jubilant, my feet!
    Our God is marching on.

In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,
    With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me;
As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free!
    While God is marching on.

    (All together now)

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
    His truth is marching on.

This defunding the police business is the end of gun control.

Most gun owners only need to show their weapon to let people know they are not messing around…so…ammo is not always necessary. Be very conservative with your ammo and if you are a bad shot, do not waste it on practicing. Get a bow and arrow to practice with. I use sligshots! Rocks and marbles everywhere! Disagree about the ATL shooting. The officer already performed a weapons frisk for safety before attempting to detain. The officer determined the victim was weaponless. The victim had already discharged both taser charges (full capacity) before turning to run. The officer also discharged both, and seamlessly, as is the terrible training, he jettisons taser and draws and presents and discharges his sidearm… into the back of the fleeing victim.
    There was no pause.
    No reassessment.
    It was release, draw, fire.
    Muscle memory.

The victim did not discharge taser and attempt to confront or advance on officer. He was fleeing.
He wasn’t presenting himself as a threat at time of shooting.

But police work is hard work.
    At a severe disadvantage.

What they train is “better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6”
    They don’t train:
    It’s not worth it
    Swallow your stupid pride
    Nobody has your back
    Let it go
    It ain’t all on you

    And for what?
A drunk trying to get fast food?

What I would like to know is if Brooks spoke with the Wendy’s cashier and what happened prior to his deciding to park in their drive through. How long did it take the manager to figure out what to do? What is Wendy’s policy? Did the manager, I assume the black woman who called 911, go outside to try and wake Brooks? Did anyone else approach the vehicle to ask Brooks to move the car. Why not? Obviously not safe to approach a passed out black man even if you are black brother or a sister?

Black people and black business owners want police protection.

Your narrative is indeed false the suspect a drunk and on something ran and as he ran he discharged the tasser at the cop.
You can clearly see the flash at which point the officer drew his service piece and returned fire all in a split second.

You can actually blame MAD for all the pressure to get Drunk drivers off the road they are the ones that turned up the heat and then government realized DUI’s equal big money. Back in the day you got caught driving buzzed they took your keys and made you call someone to come get you. Small town America then made fun of you and most people did not do it again for fear of being outed as the town drunk. End of problem

I repeat myself over and over and over and over again. BLACK PEOPLE HATE YOUR WHITE GUTS!!!!

They will continue to hate your guts while you are washing their feet, giving them loads of cash or whatever is the latest “make me feet less guilty” strategy.

Your best bet is to distance yourself from clusters of blacks folks. If you cannot for whatever reason you fantasize over, you had best have a preplanned escape route when they come for you.

I recall a story that supposedly occurred in Chicago. Two white young men went into South Chicago to score some drugs. Their car broke down. They were in hostile territory. Cops came along and decided there was nothing for them to do so they left the two guys there. They did not make it out alive. Sounds feasible.

It doesn’t matter if Oprah, Tiger, Michael(s), Denzel, Beyonce, Gail, Morgan, Samuel et al have all prospered beyond anyone’s wildest dreams of avarice and due to white audiences and supporters. The sorriest black thug must be bowed down to.

“…Scott Adams, creator of the comic-strip Dilbert, raised an interesting question the other day about the re-energized push for ‘reparations’ to black America and the difficulty of actually calculating it.”

If we are going down the Reparations Road Superhighway, then we must demand that any reparations to be paid must be PRORATED per individual. That is, those of us on the paying-end must have our past-due-bills averaged down due to our relative lack of our personal culpability in these acts of error.

Why? Simple math. I never ate Cocoa Krispies. If I ever ate an Aunt Jemima pancake, it was without my knowledge or consent. I may have eaten some Uncle Ben’s rice but that was a very long time ago and way before I knew I was committing a mortal sin.

My ancestors were not anywhere near the United States during the Slavery Era. In fact, they were battling some slavery-type serfdom issues of their own at the time somewhere else. My ancestors came to America seeking a better way of life. For a time, they found it. But if they were around today, they would quickly be right back in the bowels of the nasty ship they came over here on hoping to land anywhere away from this Forever-Land-of-Guilt-and-Shame-and-Constantly-Being-Offended.

And if this Reparations Thing gets off the ground, my crew will be lining up to get our fair share of the newly faked American faux dollars as well. It simply doesn’t pay to move on from your personal or group pain and suffering. You hold it over people’s heads forever and make a paying lifestyle out of it if you can.

Yes, everyone knows or should know by now that terrible, awful wrongs have been and are being committed around the world against various groups of people which must be corrected and fast. We know the legacy of shame and those high sounding national words about freedom and equality have not been close to being realized.

But there is not a single person on the face of this Earth who has not been abused and assaulted and dehumanized in some way, or many ways. That is very simply the conditions one faces when living with other humans on this planet.

So if all this gets figured right, my Reparations Check can be deducted by a small amount for reparations for acts that I and my crew did not commit, while most of the money is still there for us as compensation to us for our own history of received horrors.

    • sophia June 19, 2020 at 6:34 pm #

Since there were black slave owners in every state, I think we need to carefully research everyone’s family trees and make sure that the descendants of the slave-owning blacks pay instead of receive. I also think we need to figure in 60 years of affirmative action.

      • benr June 20, 2020 at 12:42 pm #

We can make this very simple.

Democrats owned slaves and fought to keep them.
Since Democrats committed this crime they can also pay reparation’s straight from DNC coffers.

Imagine of this is the narrative applied the quest for reparation’s would wither and die with in days kind of like the #metto movement running afoul of Joe Biden.

  39. stelmosfire June 19, 2020 at 3:34 pm #

Racism is a public health crisis, declared by several local cities. What is that supposed to mean. Is there a vaccine for it? Perhaps a racial quarantine would solve the crisis. That’s it! Separate the herd. Gray squirrels in the maples , Black squirrels in the oaks. Problem solved.

    • Karah June 19, 2020 at 4:15 pm #

To become inoculated against the racist disease is to have as many consensual intimate relationships with as many different races as possible. You must spend at lease 4 – 6 hours a week with these “other” people that make you feel out of place or uncomfortable until your obvious racist symptoms subside and you actually seek these “other” people outside of normal times. Maybe you even marry one?
But do not think the seeds of racism are completely dead…like some other viruses, they may come back to haunt your brain with small negative thoughts about how they talk, think, eat and look completely differently from you and everything you grew up with.

    • Mountain gal June 19, 2020 at 4:38 pm #

My state is positively falling over itself in every way possible in order to find itself guilty of systemic racism. Every day new “facts” are released to demonstrate how terrible blacks have it here which due to the lack of statistical reliability given such low numbers of blacks isn’t worth a hill of beans. No mind though. People are getting paid to generate these numbers and various blacks have jobs which require them to advocate for diversity, inclusivity and all the rest. Plus of course remonstrate to the white people how terrible blacks have it here. So sick of it. It’s seemingly endless. We need a good disaster or something to get people focused on what really matters; not this made-up bs. And of course, if you’re having it so bad here, the borders are open and you can always leave. White people leave all the time for lots of reasons.

Town Council did that in Windsor, Ct the other night. It was pretty funny. Town is 35% black, local TV news went around asking black residents what they thought. People interviewed seemed puzzled, one guy asking where’s the emergency?

Of course there is no emergency, just more political bullsh#t.

  42. MiddlePeninsula June 19, 2020 at 4:42 pm #

Well, it’s been a wild week in central Virginia. On Monday or Tuesday, Governor Northam decided this year state employees would celebrate Friday as “Juneteenth”. Not much notice. Last year, they took away Lee-Jackson day, which was celebrated the Friday before MLK’s holiday. Instead they gave us Election Day as a holiday.

Governor Northam is the guy who had the blackface photos in his past, although he could not say for sure if it was him. At that same time, the Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax was accused of all sort of sexual misconduct with various woman. Yep, both democrats. One white and one black.

Oh and Richmond mayor, Levar Stoney is falling all over himself to placate the rioters. He fired the police chief because they used tear gas when rioters started throwing things at the police. They also totally burned up a bus although they were kind enough to let the bus driver and passengers off prior to the firebombing. Those buses cost about $400k. Mayor Stoney was not as happy when 250+ rioters showed up at his apartment building and sprayed some impolite messages on the building walls. If I recall, the gist was “Stoney sucks.” I got a good laugh out of that incident. Mayor Stoney didn’t seem so happy he got a personal visit.

    • sophia June 19, 2020 at 6:44 pm #

Again, lawsuits. It is an unfair firing. Police are human too, and we all have a right to self defense. They were denied their right to self defense. This is hitting right where it hurts, below the belt tactics. Defunding the police – probably they realize that won’t go far. But put police in dangerous situations and then destroy them for engaging in self defense? That should do it.

The idea we will live without police is absurd. But who will replace them? Oh, that won’t be so nice, count on it.

Americans waking up to systemic racism is a good thing. Racist symbols on our food like aunt jemima and naming sports teams after native americans is just backwards. Mr. Kunstler thinks that this is all a distraction from the real issues of our time but I think its quite the opposite. Its this mindset of challenging the status quo that might make people eventually challenge the stupidity of suburbia and the idea of endless fossil fuel supplies.

    • Soul Forensics June 19, 2020 at 5:23 pm #

      Please define “systemic racism”.

      • BackRowHeckler June 19, 2020 at 6:02 pm #

Systemic racism is how you explain the pathologies of ‘de hood’ after 50 years of affirmative action and $12 trillion in welfare transfers have failed to make things better.

        • Soul Forensics June 19, 2020 at 6:13 pm #

          Indeed, BRH.

And, as James Lindsay has said, if you ask ten academics about the definition of “systemic racism”, you’ll get ten different answers, most of them contradictory and based on *a priori* fallacies.

      • dennis_malta June 20, 2020 at 6:24 am #

Systemic racism is when racism is so ingrained that we don’t notice it. Like people actuallly thing naming a team the Washington Redskins is okay. Or Aunt Jemima is okay. It’s highly correlated to subjects such as peak oil and suburbia. Before Kunstlers books I thought suburbia was totally normal and there was no other way to live.

        • Kim June 20, 2020 at 7:21 am #

Your definition of systemic racism – that it is merely unconscious or unrecognized racism – is surely not correct.

In any case, I would sympathize with any discussion that clarified ALL of our often-barely-concealed racism, that of blacks, Jews, Hindus, moslems, Chinese, and so on.

For heaven’s sake, it is so common, perhaps we’ll find that there are good, rational reasons why different types of people prefer to live apart from each other.

        • Mountain gal June 20, 2020 at 10:48 am #

          @ dennis

Sorry, but the notion that somehow Aunt Jemima is racist is bizarre. Then “Bubbie’s” pickles must be antisemitic if this is so. And we’re all guilty of white privilege as we just don’t see this but of course you do so you’re a superior sort.

        • King of Comedy June 20, 2020 at 2:10 pm #

Everybody on planet earth is racist. Baked into the cake of human nature. I’ll let you in on another self-evident truth: majorities in any time and any place design their civilizations, if those civilizations are well designed, to benefit the greatest number of members of that civilization, in other words, the majority. The curious pathology of white people advocating for their own diminishment is unprecedented in the history of humans on this planet but in reminds me of the old poker maxim: if you don’t know after five minutes at the table who the fish is, the fish is you.

    • SoftStarLight June 20, 2020 at 4:50 am #

Not related to this article, and I don’t know if JHK reads these replies or not however was just listening to a kmo YouTube video about internet dating apps, and the problem surrounding them. I heard that JHK was writing about this and other let’s call the manosphere or MGTOW topics. If this is the case I would strongly suggest that JHK gets in touch with a YouTube MGTOW that has a channel that goes by the name of the thinking ape. It would be pretty interesting to hear the two of them talk together.

    • K-Dog June 19, 2020 at 7:30 pm #

Thinking apes are a dime a dozen. The world has far too many of them.

People are always telling JHK what to do. It must piss him off but it is better than people telling him where to go. He has those kind of people too.

      • Wills June 20, 2020 at 11:37 am #

Thinking ape is the name he uses for his YouTube channel. due to the content that he puts on his channel he does not want to use his real name. I’m not telling JHK what to do I have no control over what JHK does.

I have no clue whether or not MGTOW, or a YouTuber like the thinking ape, has ever even came across JHK’s radar. If JHK is writing a book about male issues, modern dating issues, in cells, men walking away from marriage and dating, the thinking ape would be the best person for him to talk to in my opinion. If you know of any others I would love to hear their names.

That’s pretty cool that you took the time to listen to one of his videos. Personally I find him him very interesting and quite intellectual.
Interesting thoughts about the butterfly, and life transformation. Personally and this just replies to my own life situation, I find the current atmosphere almost perfect to as you say become a beautiful butterfly.
I was a MGTO w years if not decades before it was even a thing. This was just a pretty simple conclusion going down the life path of being an artist and knowing I’m not going to make jack s*** as far as incomes concerned. Once again thanks for listening to his stuff. Would really love for jhk to talk to him. I don’t guess the riots are an election strategy, except to make Trump look bad. But things went a bit beyond that. Now, I’ll count us lucky if we can avoid an insurrection. Why would they go that far? Because Trump is draining the swamp and they can’t take another 4 years.

Where do all these cultural initiatives and memes we’re bombarded by with escalating frequency come from? Is there some central committee that decides that “New Normal”, “Black Lives Matter”, “Juneteenth”, etc. are now mandatory for all propaganda apparatus? This is all too well-coordinated to be anything but an oligarchical operation; I just want some names.

Do any Americans still think they live in anything resembling a democracy? Culturally, we are as centrally-controlled as any Communist state. The internet allowed other voices to be heard, but the Invisible Governors are working hard to stamp that out and bring it under the Control System. How close do we have to get to the USSA before people revolt, or are people too beaten-down to care? How do you revolt against governors who are invisible, anyway?

And one more question: how can anyone be a “liberal” today and retain their dignity? To me it’s like wearing a clown outfit and expecting to be taken seriously.

Isn’t the obvious message to take away from all this, at least if you are white and not stupid: WE ARE BEING HUSTLED, and IT’S ALL ABOUT POWER. Since our “leaders” have gone AWOL and are all taking a knee, it appears that we’re on our own. Other than complaining on blogs, what is anyone doing to defend against this all-out assault? This seems like the time to break our bad habit of passivity and trust in institutions and start militating tribally for our interests. Because if we don’t, given human nature and the nature of the opposition, there’s no limit to how dark this could get.

    • Soul Forensics June 19, 2020 at 6:34 pm #

It’s definitely all about power. Foucault, one of many French philosophers, was influential in the late 60s, stating that every human interaction was about power relations (which is horseshit), but it wasn’t till the early 90s that academic shifts began percolating throughout university classrooms. Those students, after graduating, themselves became torchbearers for the current lunacy, and, like a cancer, woke theory (and work opportunities) metastasized to more phony disciplines, until it spilled over into society: hiring PR departments, ‘news’ media, movies, and lower (now higher) levels of government.

It acted on the unaware like the proverbial frog in boiling water. When it hits a critical point (not long, I would hope), enough people — profs, private co. employees, political pundits, moms of White kids — will sacrifice getting fired for fighting back. Then it’s either all-out war, or the wokesters, many of them cowardly opportunists, will back down.

      • Shiva Dance June 19, 2020 at 6:42 pm #

It’s definitely getting close to the time to fight. I was a fairly typical naive college liberal at one time, and I’ve turned into a militant ready to do battle, ready to demonstrate to my enemies what kind of power they’re up against if we take the gloves off. If this change of heart can happen to me, it can happen to a lot of people.

        • Siebert June 20, 2020 at 8:56 pm #

It can happen to a lot of people, and all of us are lone wolves now. Last year I was arrested on a felony charge for protecting myself from an intimidating homeless millennial who would not leave me alone. These are the kids with a parent who couldn’t stand them any more so their kids live on the streets hustling and panhandling, stealing bicycles and propane tanks, asking strangers if they can charge their cellphones, they are the scum we must prepare for.

During this time the city of Santa Rosa had a 200+ enclave of homeless skank, mostly opiate addicted gutter filth on the public Joe Rodota bike trail, doing anything they wanted to do to anyone else. The county had to close the section of the public trail because of the danger. The adjoining neighborhoods defended themselves with tasers and pepper spray, and that is where I fit into the story. Other cities are experiencing this type of division on a larger scale.

I was a fairly typical naive college liberal at one time too, but I was never a Democrat, especially after the Reagan years when the true party divisions began and Democrats started stumbling under their own useless appendages. Active Green, I went Independant after 9/11 and although I disagree with a lot of the dictums, I feel I’m with a party without the curse and baggage of the blue and red, a pathetic psycho-turmoil that is now ending.

The gloves are off here, and I fully expect the bodies to pile up and stink to the point where we need to contact the trash pickup company for extra bins. That is, if we make it through the next fire season in CA. Or election season. I mean chaos season. I actually like how it feels going downhill from here, especially since I know what it’s like to pay my dues.

        • Nightowl June 21, 2020 at 2:42 am #

It happened to me, too, Shiva.

The movement driving the desctruction is globalism/Open Society proponents. The Open Society is about the “free” movement of labor, the destruction of national borders, and the free exploitation of human and other natural resources.

Before Trump ran for pres. I had become a cynic to the point that I moved to Europe and had not voted since 2000. At the start of 2016, I assumed Trump was a clown and that the Idiocracy was in full swing. At some point, I started doing research on teh Bad Orange Man, and I realized he was pushing for most of the things I had wanted to see come to pass, and he was largely funding his own campaign.

Watching corporate forces attempt to destroy my country via social engineering, centralize power, and lay the groundwork for a surveillance network designed to crush the human spirit has awoken a degree of patriotism in me that I never knew I had.

I think everyone who has ever seriously worked has experienced a hostile work environment; either from the customers or the staff or the boss…or all three! Unfriendliness is a common feature working with the general public and that is why work (and the commutes even more so) are STRESSFUL. If everything was great and our jobs were not threatened by a few complaints from this or that person then what is to worry about because we know we are doing good work? As Kunstler has brought out many, many, many times…our lives are no longer about REAL work but some sort of delusional future utopia of a life based on personalities (to be liked) and cartoons (wishing upon a star) and incessant flight responses (happy motoring) to the STRESS of everyday life in the USA by getting in your personal vehicle and leaving the scene. Everyone’s stress is building up because they can not leave behind the converging disasters of our very unfriendly way of life. They can not un-see what has been seen. The brutality of life. The dehumanizing aspects of life. It is wherever you go…even at home where people can not agree on anything anymore. Divorce is commonplace. Broken families are common to all races. So, where are you going to work and live without hostility? Tell me, I want to work there.

I’m surprised by the charge of murder to the Atlanta policeman. In all the talks I’ve seen about Floyd, everyone says that it was not okay, but the Atlanta situation was completely different.

The purpose here is to demoralize the police to the point they all quit or can’t do the job. And the point of that is insurrection. Then, the gestapo.

Lets keep our eyes on the ball. The ball in insurrection, not racism.

But people need to start standing up and speaking out. That policeman must not be charged with murder. Of course, it probably won’t hold up but its too much stress to put a cop through, being charged with murder when his own life was in danger.

    • Soul Forensics June 19, 2020 at 6:43 pm #

The GA District Attorney is fighting for his job — for votes — in a political run-off. This is all politics. He’s caving to the woke mob in order to save his position. He’s already contradicted himself regarding lethality of tasers pre- and post-shooting, and higher authorities have expressed surprise that they heard of the charge through media first.

But it’s a win-win for the mob in any case. If Rolfe is convicted of murder, it furthers their “police are evil” sloganeering. If he’s let go, more burning, looting, violence.

Tasers are hopefully not lethal but they disable. That is the point. Getting tasered is very unpleasant and leaves his gun vulnerable. There is no argument here. Police do not have to tolerate being physically attacked.

There does not need to be rioting if he’s let off if the media did their job and explained the situation. But the media are traitors who want a bolshevik revolution here. When I say bolshevik, I use that term for effect. It doesn’t matter what flavor the revolution is, the end result is a society in fear and the gulag.

You see any black, yellow, red, or brown faces at a Trump rally?

Can you prove the diverse groups at ANY political rally are NOT getting paid off in some way? That is what politics is all about – elect me pink, brown, yellow and rainbow and I will give you something you don’t already have. They all fall for it.

Saw a lot of fat faces at the Black trannys lives matter march in Brooklyn last weekend, 50,000 of them, crowded together.

Can you prove the diverse groups at ANY political rally are NOT getting paid off in some way?

            Hold the phone.

The onus is on the person making a claim or accusation to prove that something is true, not the other way around. Proving the negative is almost always impossible.

I can’t prove there aren’t fairies at the bottom of the garden – but I don’t have to – those claiming there are need to provide the evidence.

I can’t prove there is no God, but I don’t have to … I’m not claiming there is one.

          • K-Dog June 19, 2020 at 8:38 pm #

            50,000 fat black trannies?

What’s up with that. Do you have Tranny farms or something where you are at because the normal population can’t even have that many. Most dudes are not OK with having it chopped. Finding 50,000 in one place seems impossible. I hope so. Do you have one too many zero’s?

Fat Black Trannie would be a good name for a micro-brew. A thick dark stout with a lot of head.

          • BackRowHeckler June 19, 2020 at 9:01 pm #

Not too many black trannies, but many thousands of overweight, pasty white girls marching in support of black trannies. Yes it sounds bizarre, but there they were, in Brooklyn, marching and carrying signs, mostly saying hooray for our side.

My point regarding tasers is that pre-event, DA said that tasers were lethal. After Rolfe shooting, he did a complete 180 (to protect the Black, later eulogized in local paper as “caring, family man”, when it was known he was released early from jail after abusing his own kids). DA was right the 1st time. Tasers are lethal. It’s not contentious.

And regarding media, of course they’ll just keep stoking the fire. Outrage no matter what the courts decide.

        • benr June 20, 2020 at 12:50 pm #

No Tassers amped up to 75k volts can actually be lethal to someone with a bad heart or breathing issues.
Don’t fool yourself on this reality.

        • King of Comedy June 20, 2020 at 2:24 pm #

The DA in Atlanta explicitly stated when charging officers a few weeks ago for use of a taser on protesters that “A taser is considered as a deadly weapon under Georgia law.” In the case of the Brooks shooting, the same DA claimed that a taser was not a deadly weapon. I guess the only way to interpret that is:

If a taser is used on a black person, it’s a deadly weapon.

If it’s used by a black person, it is not.

I suspect Rolfe’s attorney will have some fun with that nonsense.

      • Kakadu Man June 19, 2020 at 8:18 pm #

The GA [Fulton County ] District Attorney is fighting for his job — for votes — in a political run-off. This is all politics.

I hold my own views about the wisdom of having functional | professional duties being undertaken by elected persons, but not the point here.

What would an appointed DA (or one not facing any real political challenge) do in the situation that is different from what Mr Howard is doing?

Lethally shooting someone in the back while not under physical threat would seem to require the highest degree of murder charge .. is there much debate about that?

The question of course is whether police officers are immune from such charges if they kill while on duty. That is what any DA needs to deal with, elected of or not, plus act in a way that hopefully doesn’t throw more fuel on a fire..

        • sophia June 19, 2020 at 8:31 pm #

Things move fast in a situation like this. He fought the policeman and grabbed his taser. He may then have turned as the policeman drew his gun. It is easy to sit at your computer and hold the policeman to an impossible standard.

          • Kakadu Man June 19, 2020 at 8:53 pm #

Not an “impossible” standard at all, just a reasonable one. The use of lethal weapons in a lethal manner should be absolutely the last resort – not a Quick Draw McGraw first response at the slightest sign of bother.

          • Nightowl June 21, 2020 at 2:50 am #

Indeed Kaka Man, which is why the coppers did not go for the taser immediately, and it is also why cop 1 gave the violent suspect multiple warnings before firing, even as the suspect continued to attack cop 2.

You would never misrepresent what happened now, would you?

        • Soul Forensics June 20, 2020 at 12:06 am #

          “but not the point here”

Of course it’s the point. If you want to win votes in the short term, you do what’s politically expedient. And there’s nothing more politically expedient at the moment than to piggyback on to the Black Saint/evil police parade.

“What would an appointed DA do?”

One that’s objective would study the facts of the shooting, in great detail, and discuss with other objective advisors. That takes time and prudence. He jumped (obviously with glee). Couldn’t even wait to call his higher-ups first.

“Lethally shooting someone in the back while not under physical threat”

What ideologically polluted horseshit. Brooks turned and pointed taser straight at cop from about 6 feet away. Tasers, despite DA’s transparent flip-flop, are lethal. And cop who shot didn’t know, in split-second, that it was taser — Brooks had stolen the taser, but Rolfe might have thought it was partner’s gun.

“Plus act in a way that hopefully doesn’t throw more fuel on a fire.”

What a ridiculous and weaselly statement. What fire? Cop justifiably shoots criminal (who had committed 8 felonies in the course of a few minutes). It this weren’t “All Pigs Must Be Killed” month, the story would get a few lines on page 3 of the Atlanta Voice.

Your troll jobs are pathetic, and you’re a waste of time. This’ll be my last post to you.

Lets say he decided to play tasser tag with a 92 year old evil white women or any crime?
          What then?
Take it a step further now every rapist, murderer, arson, robber or violent felon now knows all they have to do is fight and get away what then?

You people can’t really think for yourselves and have never had to live near the hood to understand just how vile and violent it can get.
Growing up in Van Nuys I had to walk to school many of the streets I was forced to walk through sold drugs.
One street sold weed, another Sherm (PcP) triple dipped cigarette or joints, another crack and another sold meth to name a few. Each street had a corner or two ruled by this gang or that which had street level pusher battles for control. Kids had to walk through this nonsense to get a poor education at school half bussed in from even worse areas. It has become so bad they LAPD has a report page up.

Sophia and kakadu man you both have a very ignorant take on what MGTOW is. It is very common shame tactics are first to be employed against MGTOW The typical of these men can get laid they’re just bitter virgins blah blah blah. Do not confuse in cells with MGTOW.

MGTOW could care less about being shamed and whatever kind of names you want to throw at them. MGTOW is a simple cost to benefit analysis that modern-day women as you say are not worth the time or effort.

The juice is not worth the squeeze.

MGTOW see no reason to fight or try and maintain the status quo. MGTOW live their lives for themselves and nobody else. It’s kind of funny MGTOW pretty much just emulate female behavior and emulate female selfishness.by putting their own needs first rather than societies and of course female needs.

Really go ahead and shame away call me an insell say I can’t get laid, is sex really that great anyways, considering all the BS that a man needs to put up with just to get the PP a little bit wet?

If humans were honest with ourselves we would realize that love between a male and a female is basically an illusion to keep the couple together long enough to raise a child until it is able to fend for itself in nature.

I said not one thing about MGTOW, so I don’t know why you have an opinion as to my understanding of it.

I guess my statement had to do with the idea that MGTOW is in part about reowning one’s masculinity.

          • Wills June 21, 2020 at 2:14 pm #

Yeah I was responding to your comment as well as the one by kakada at the same time.

Not trying to put words into your mouth, you just had to MGTOW in the same paragraph as men having the masculinity to know when to fight.

All I’m trying to say, is that MGTOW already know when the time to fight is, and that is never. Unless of course the fight is within the context of a personal struggle within that MGTOWs life.

Of course by definition men going their own way, that implies that men are going their own way and there’s not one specific way for men to go. However having consumed a lot of the MGTOW content that is online, I think it is a very safe bet to say that the MGTOW, already see The gynocentric tendencies of any society, and that the only rational position for a MGTOW, is to realize that this battle cannot be won. The only battle that can be won is a personal battle.

MGTOWs are expecting civilization to crash and burn, and we have the popcorn on standby.

Oh, geez, now I am hearing that it is on film that the police kicked the man when he was down after being shot. Adrenaline?

    • Kim June 20, 2020 at 2:39 am #

You are “hearing” that something is on film? So you repeat this rumor without checking it? Gee, thanks for the contribution.

I, on the other hand, have very carefully watch all of the available video:

      1. What is never discussed, the video shows the fleeing felon on two occasions get behind teh wheel of a car and drives it at reckless high speed around the car park, including at police trying to apprehend him. This could easily be construed as attempted vehicular homicde. This potentially deadly behaviour is never mentioned in the media.

      2. The police pursue the man who has the taser on foot. The fleeing felon with the taser turns as he runs and fires the taser. The police officer returns fire. The flashes from both weapons can be seen with perfect clarity on video and are within a second of each other.

      3. The police immediately render emergency assistance to the injured man. They DO NOT kick the man. They apply CPR.

      Other facts to note:

      4. The taser is a deadly weapon under Georgia law, according to claims made by the prosecuting attorney just two weeks ago.

      5. Police are trained to fire the taser at parts of the body of the person to be restrained, avoiding the head, face, eyes, throast, genitals. Fired at these areas, the weapon can be deadly or cause serious injury.

      5. The lawfulness of the actions of a police officer using deadly force in pursuit of an escaping felon are covered under Tennessee v. Garner, 471 U.S. 1 (1985).

What does this ruling say? It says that police many defend themselves. There is NO REQUIREMENT that a police officer believe his life to be in danger! Read…

“Deadly force may not be used against a fleeing suspect unless such force is necessary to prevent the suspect’s escape and there is probable cause to believe that the suspect presents a serious threat to the officer or others.”

On this basis, the officer was justfied in using deadly force in this instance as the felon was certainly “a serious threat to the officer or others”.

      • sophia June 20, 2020 at 10:43 am #

Thank you, Kim. You are right that I posted too quickly. What I saw was people discussing the film, and I thought that kicking was on the film. I quickly found out that was not the case.

My question is, do the media who report this have the film? I’m guessing yes. So they are deliberately fomenting unrest and tearing the social fabric. Doing it knowingly, they should be prosecuted and lose their jobs. Not that people should be fired for having wrong opinions, but this is way beyond that. They are using their position in the media to strengthen a coup against the United States.

  57. sophia June 19, 2020 at 7:19 pm #

Wait, now it seems that kicking was not on film, only a still shot of his leg in some kind of position … meanwhile he apparently then administered CPR. I think if he had kicked him, they would not have cut the film into a still shot.

If these are lies by the media, it is treason.

    • Mountain gal June 20, 2020 at 3:48 am #

The only truth that matters anymore is the truth that the media wants to tell you. So if they say he kicked him, well that must be what happened. The cop has already been judged by the media and public opinion and found guilty. What actually happened there no longer matters. The public is so stupid and incapable of critical thinking that they don’t even question it.

In the old black and white cowboy movies and cowboy TV shows , which you can still readily see on TV , at least if you have satellite or cable ,

it’s a big no – no to shoot a guy in the back who is running away , even if he is a bad guy.

( Sure , there are exceptions. ” The good , the bad , and the ugly , ” , ” Once upon a time in the West ” the TV show , ” Maverick ” were supposed to be gritty , intentionally self – deprecating , intentionally morally relative . And the main characters were supposed to be morally ambiguous at best , or just plain frankly anti – heroes.

—- And I just named three of my favorites. )

Given this is — or at least USED TO BE — the ethos of right – wing American white people ,

I find it a bit hard to do much cheerleading for the cop in Atlanta.

    At the very least , his actions seem as plain stupid as those of the guy who got shot ;

The guys car was still sitting right there . They knew who he was , or very soon would . So where was he running away too ?

He’s gonna sail away incognito on a banana boat to Bolivia , and hide out at the Nazi war criminal country club ? Is that the thing ?

Having said all of that though , the cop did something stupid , if really stupid , and that’s about it.

What will happen here is that a shit load of money is going to be spent ( court costs , incarceration costs , etc ) and rich lawyers will get richer.

And are I say it , in this case at least , over someone who otherwise would have been forgotten tomorrow , even by his friends , and maybe even with a , ” Good riddance. ”

But we will have justice . Except , if you believe that , then I want to sell you a share in the Statue of Liberty.

If it were me , I would either charge the cop with nothing at all , or with at most a misdemeanor , something which he can shrug off on future job applications.

Plastered with a felony , he is good and fucked for life , which , never mind him for a moment , profits nobody else.

    — Unless , like Patty Hearst , he has money / and or connections , and can just shrug off a felony resume anyway , in which case , please remind me why I’m supposed to cry my eyes out for him anyway ?

” You would do nothing , Kesanna , about a shooting that ended in death ?! ”

Apparently that makes me a hysterical nut.

In my own view though , once again , the partisans on both the Left and the Right look anything but sensible.

    … or honest …..

You are spreading misinformation. The video clearly shows the fleeing felong turning and firing the taser at the police officer who returns fire almost simultaneously.

The flashes of the two weapons are as plain as day.

The law in this case – a police officer using deadly force in pursuit of an escaping felon – is covered under Tennessee v. Garner, 471 U.S. 1 (1985).

That’s the law, plain and simple.

I think it’s time everyone cracked open Chris Caldwell’s remarkable new book, “the Age of Entitlement”.

Briefly summed up: nearly everything that is happening now is a logical result of the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Act, probably passed with the best of intentions at the time, had the actual effect of gradually invading & overtaking the American political system in the manner of a scene from Alien—to the extent that the original Constitution has now been effectively crippled by countless supervening demands for political correctness and equal-outcome.

Unless the Civil Rights Act is repealed or struck down, therefore, the country will likely become ever more ungovernable and more defenseless against wokendespotism. Conversely though, all the elements of Antifa, BLM, Social Justice etc. derive their official imprimatur (and hence their chutzpah) from components of this Act.

Remove the Act (or large sections of it) from the books, and these groups would instantly go from being treated as brave fighters in a sacred “inevitable” cause, to being treated as what they really are—lunatics, thugs, meddlers, looters, saboteurs and mediocre opportunists, many of whom even merit swift arrest and lengthy prison terms.

After nearly 60 years of brave experimentation, much of the edifice of “civil-rights” legislation (and to a lesser degree, liberalism itself) is proving to be based on lies and impossible contradictions. And even a country of America’s size can only swallow lies of such magnitude for so long. I actually think the Woke sense this intuitively, which no doubt has increased their frenzy to grab all power before they are completely discredited.

So…if there is a race war…how many whites will be taken out before the majority of blacks (and their sympathizers) are all dead, fleeing the country or in prison?

      • Kim June 20, 2020 at 3:00 am #

Gun ownership in the USA is common but most gun owners own handguns. Yet rifles are the best firearms for war.

How many people own a rifle or shotgun?

Of the 30% of adults in the USA who own a gun only 62% own a rifle. A similar figure, around 60% also for shotguns.

So only 20% of adults own a rifle or shotgun.

I have not seen any demograhic figures broken down for long gun ownership.

I did find these race-analyzed figures:

“White men are especially likely to be gun owners: About half (48%) say they own a gun, compared with about a quarter of white women and nonwhite men (24% each) and 16% of nonwhite women.”

Still, handguns are not the answer in civil war. People who expect that kind of fighting have to get themselves rifles.

Once upon a time in my single days I was a traveling auditor for the Sperry and Hutchinson Company. I was in the small city of Bowling Green, KY. I spent all my free time when not working trying to find and hook up with moderately promiscuous young women (preferably with large breasts) who were not necessarily opposed to a one-night stand. And so one evening I found my way to a popular night spot.

The place had a number of square tables with chairs scattered around a hardwood floor The crowd had pushed 10 or so of these tables together end to end in a straight line and people took seats on either side. I sat on the right side and a girl took the final available seat next to me.

She had left her purse at the other end of the line of tables. She shouted to a friend to please pass her purse down the line. When it got to me I was surprised at the weight of the thing. I turned left to hand it to its owner and said “What have you got in here, a 38?” She opened the purse and showed me she was indeed carrying a 38.

Sevensec – according to your logic, the REAL error was the Abolition of Slavery. If the USA had just avoided that mistake, everything would be just hunky-dory still…right?

How very interesting! That’s not *even remotely* what I said. (To quote an old Dilbert strip from ’01: “You changed what I said into a bizarre absolute.”)

Obviously, the emancipation of the slaves (1862) and the detailed provisions and elaborations of the Civil Rights Act (1964) are quite distinct events, separated by over a century. Yet somehow they became perfectly merged in your mind, as if through a funhouse-mirror or lava-lamp.

You may insist they are simply a package deal; in fact they are not.

I credit your audacity though: never let mere reading comprehension get in the way of twisting others’ words for advantage. Truly, the Woke Accusatory Force is strong with you!

So thank you for that beautiful tour-de-force & teachable moment… my comment stands.

” So, where are you going to work and live without hostility? Tell me, I want to work there. ”

    — Karah

I spent the first ten years of my life in East Germany.

You have only my word for it , but the Berlin Wall was not the terrible big deal that Western propaganda makes it out to have been.

Most people didn’t have to worry about being shot at the wall —- like most Americans don’t really have to worry about police shootings .

Yes , the Stassi rather sucked . But no more , i think , than this business of third parties amassing all sorts of information on you going back to kindergarten .

I must admit that it is dismaying to me that this does not seem to bother the average American much , if at all , and especially given all the shit I have had to eat over the years on account of the Stassi .

It’s the pot calling the kettle black , at the very least.

Anyway , I found East Germany to be a rather nice , and low – stress , place to live.

It was 90% a single ethnicity . That the ethnicity in question was white , I don’t think was particularly meaningful , given that I’m mixed – race.

The state —non — religion ( ? ) was atheist , and I’m not atheist.

It was Communist , and I’m not Communist.

Then my parents moved back to America , to an area that is tri – ethnic , or tri – racial , with a booming economy .

To make a long story short , it was 30 years of Hell on earth.

If nationalism could be defined as love of a particular piece of land , then I was actually quite the nationalist.

Except the thing is , THE LANDSCAPE was the only thing I did love.

When it came to justifications , in the end all I could justify was the trees and the fields , decent soil and a long growing season , a few examples of architecture . But that really was it.

I originally moved to Appalachia because I loved the mountains.

But I stay because , at least for the moment , it’s another East German paradise.

Because it is the mountains , ( It’s a long story ) the economy is actually moribund , and looks to remain so long term.

Indeed , in the county where I live , 70 % of — the 95% white — population lives below the poverty level.

I already mentioned the population is 95% white , that is , of a single ethnicity , even though I’m mixed – race.

And I’m Catholic , which is 0.02 % of the counties population.

Never the less , despite all of this , it is a nice , and low – stress , place to live.

So much so , that if worst came to worst , I would content myself with living under a bridge , rather than leave .

I have been affluent in the big multi – cultural city. But what good is being affluent in a place where everyone is miserable , nobody trusts you , and everybody hates each other ?

Now , make of my statements what you will.

    • Karah June 19, 2020 at 8:37 pm #

Thanks KesaAnna! You can be more explanatory in my Zoom meeting by clicking my name! Love to hear more!

I think the famous rapper put it this way “Mo Money, Mo Problems”.

East Germany was essentially a police state governing a people who were generally compliant…complicit, even?

Not many people talk about their experiences during the fall of the Berlin wall like they do about other victorious moments of historical change. Is that because no one group could declare victory? It was purely geographical – West vs. East. Not really about communism but letting people move around. That whole era seemed more to me about acquiring luxuries and mastering English than anything else. I am thinking about all the movies I saw that tried to explain our “differences” with the East…Gorky Park, Moscow on the Hudson, White Nights.

    • Kim June 20, 2020 at 3:04 am #

“It [east germany] was 90% a single ethnicity .”

What were the other 10% of “ethnicities”? I am willing to bet they were more like Poles than Somalis and that might have had something to do with your chance to live in a society free of daily interpersonal crime.

      • Kakadu Man June 20, 2020 at 3:22 am #

Hmm … don’t know about you, but I would much rather live in the dodgiest parts of Seattle, Baltimore, or Chicago, than the grey concrete slabs of Honecker’s East Germany – comrade.

Better a little “interpersonal crime” than a dull sludge of a life queuing for hours for a can of pet-food, and wearing clothes that even your mother didn’t force on you when you were thirteen.

If you got this far down in the comments, then I dedicate this post to you.
I grew up in the inner city, most of the fellows I know are black or hispanic, they are the coolest and finest people that you can meet.
And most folk just want to live in peace and find a way to get along.
It is not that hard to do, but now things are getting in the way.
Call it politics or socialism. Something has gone wrong.
A steady diet of welfare and handouts have tilted the balance.
Now there is a generation that just wants to take. Never mind finding a job and rebuilding the inner city. I spent a few years teaching highschool, and one of my first lessons was a reality check. How are you going to grow up and support yourself and your family?
The students looked at me like I was insane. They laughed and said they would get a few whores and go on welfare and then predicted the day that they would be gunned down in the street.
What kind of future is that? It broke my heart to hear that.

    • zone45 June 19, 2020 at 9:31 pm #

And these people who are carrying on and protesting are America’s children. They want to make the world a better place.
As for the looters and derelicts, well, they will probably always be there. It is not something to cry about or celebrate.
It is a kind of reality check. I know that the United States of America is strong enough to deal with it and find a way to survive.
And my message to all of you is this: Never be afraid. Be strong and carry on. You have the life force within you.

      • Karah June 19, 2020 at 9:58 pm #

The force is with us? Really? When can I start moving things with my mind?

        • zone45 June 20, 2020 at 1:03 am #

I said the life force is within you. As for your mind, that is your own problem.

      • sophia June 20, 2020 at 10:49 am #

That’s nice, Zone, but to deal with the problems we need a few adults in the room.

“I grew up in the inner city, most of the fellows I know are black or hispanic, they are the coolest and finest people that you can meet.”

Yes, they are all angels and you lived in a kind of heaven. Yet for some reason one in three adult black American males has a felony conviction.

And here are the 20 most common felonies for which they are convicted.

      Drug abuse violations
Property crimes – these include auto theft, burglary, larceny, arson, and theft
      Driving under the influence (DUI)
Property crimes – such as theft
      Disorderly conduct
A violation of liquor laws – such as sales to minors
Violent crime – such as manslaughter, murder, robbery, assault, and forcible rape
      Public drunkenness
      Aggravated assault
Weapons violations – such as carrying a concealed weapon or possessing a gun without proper licensure
Violation of curfew and loitering laws
      Domestic violence and child abuse
      Stolen property violations
      Motor vehicle theft
      Forgery and counterfeiting

        Rape? Child abuse?

    • Mountain gal June 20, 2020 at 4:00 am #

      @ zone45

Well yes, and then when these kids don’t have the skills or the grades to gain admission to college, we lower the bar so they can gain acceptance. And when they flunk out as they can’t do the work then it’s “systemic racism”. And when they can’t find a job as they don’t have any degrees or skills then it’s systemic racism. And on and on.

I think that much of black culture here in the US dooms children to failure. I can’t fix it and I’m tired of being blamed for it.

    • SoftStarLight June 20, 2020 at 4:20 am #

Yes. You probably are on to something when you say something has gone wrong. It has been orchestrated behind the scenes. Failed policies implemented with the intention of demolishing, not improving on or creating better outcomes.

  63. KesaAnna June 19, 2020 at 9:35 pm #

” Where do all these cultural initiatives and memes we’re bombarded by with escalating frequency come from? Is there some central committee that decides that “New Normal”, “Black Lives Matter”, “Juneteenth”, etc. are now mandatory for all propaganda apparatus? This is all too well-coordinated to be anything but an oligarchical operation; I just want some names. ”

I don’t think any elaborate conspiracy is necessary , except that the outcome is the same as if there were a conspiracy,

The news could very well be anything , or everything.

The news could be an article about hog futures , or the news could be about some star celebrity in Washington DC.

The news could be about some pet rabbit that got stuck in a tree , or the news can be about some Scout master with unusual sexual proclivities.

Protest marches ? The Catholic Church has a pro – life march somewhere , pretty much every week , for 30 years past.

An editorial decision is made to print this , and not that.

In my view , it looks like the primary priority is entertainment value , and the more prurient , maudlin , and morbid the better.

And why prurient , maudlin , and morbid ?

My guess would be that the person making that editorial decision views human nature in a certain way , has a certain real opinion of his fellow man , that he is very likely TO SHARE with the political opposition , the other race , the other sex .

If working class , he SHARES the view of the ruling class , if ruling class , he SHARES the same view as many in the working class.

So ; the same result as if there was a conspiracy.

” Do any Americans still think they live in anything resembling a democracy? ”

    I would ask that Americans read their history with a particular question in mind ;

What are the practical , nuts and bolts , reasons why for over a hundred years now there has been no viable third , fourth , or fifth political party in this huge country ?

I am confident they would find that the basic answer to that question is that you live in a one party state.

As did your parents , grandparents , and great grandparents.

    Maybe , ” one – party state ” is something of a misnomer ?

EMPIRE has been paramount for over a hundred years , no ideology withstanding.

” Culturally, we are as centrally-controlled as any Communist state. ”

Well, I’m not sure what would be the correct word here , but certainly NOT , ” Culturally ” .

Culture hasn’t a damn thing to do with any of this.

    Case in point ;

” The idea we will live without police is absurd. ”

The idea we will live without a terribly bloated bureaucracy , even under the best of circumstances , is perhaps absurd.

Otherwise , what is being suggested there is that the only reason my neighbor isn’t ripping my throat out is because of an army of occupation ( called something other than an army of occupation. )

” The idea we will live without police is absurd. ”

    — is completely devaluing the notion that culture has any substance or bite. ” Father ” or ” Mother ” is just an empty title we leave these assholes with , I suppose , to make them feel better.

” The idea we will live without police is absurd. ”

    — You are suggesting , whether you realize it or not , if you are black , that you are the monkey children that Nazis make you out to be.

If you are white , then you are suggesting the Aryan master race must be some other group .

If a man , suggesting a man is a man only in a funny costume and equipped with an M – 16 , when the other guy doesn’t have one.

If a woman , you are as helpless as any male chauvinist makes you out to be and more.

In none of this is culture remotely valued.

    • sophia June 20, 2020 at 10:54 am #

So then Kesa, you must be an anarchist. It’s anice idea but I am not sure it is doable, and even if it is, we are not ready for that transition now.

I’m also not sure why you think it is not infecting and changing our culture, such as it is.

      • Nightowl June 21, 2020 at 3:01 am #

It is not a nice idea, nor is it doable.

I’ve never found a convincing argument for “systemic racism” in the US.

I’ve heard and read facts of housing discrimination at particular times in particular cities 80 so years ago.

I see and read individual police officers doing sometimes questionable things to black individuals. Mostly it is legitimate, sometimes not. However it is not systemic.

I’ve not seen any reason to believe that police officers are doing things to people based on race, as a “system”

      • Kakadu Man June 20, 2020 at 2:45 am #

I’m happily a white person, and always have been. 🙂

I never wallow in white guilt, but (a) have great empathy for minorities and marginalised groups – and worked with them for 20+ years, and (b) I do think its hard from a position of white comfort to make pronouncements about ‘systemic racism’ being unfounded.

I think you will find housing, education, training, employment, health, insurance, policing, criminal justice, and political representation … all have pretty negative stats for minorities.

It certainly doesn’t condone looting and burning and a vast welfare dependency (as as JHK has spoken of frequently, a dysfunctional culture in terms of family formation, fatherhood behaviour, approaches to schooling and job-training, and a welfare mindset) – but it does go a pretty long way towards explaining some of these behaviours.

If you don’t wish to accept the explanation, and put all the issues don’t to personal and individual responsibility, that’s up to you – but I think it’s a pretty shallow reading of the situation.

As is blaming “antifa” or even the Dems for the nationwide protests – they come out of something much deeper and much wider, it seems to me.

Well yes, it sure does go a long way towards explaining the outcomes! Fail to understand why a population that has a dysfunctional culture that engages in the behaviors you outlined should then expect positive stats on jobs, wealth, home ownership etc. And why it is then blamed on “systemic racism” and is white people’s fault.

          • Kakadu Man June 20, 2020 at 4:39 am #

And why it is then blamed on “systemic racism” and is white people’s fault.

I totally understand what you’re saying … and there is definitely a chicken-or-egg argument to be had.

But my small point was that in my view “systemic racism” is absolutely and totally crystal-clear real … and all the white folk who dismiss it wind up in the same fucking miasma mess that these threads always descend into.

I am not a defender at all of black grievance politics whatsoever … I think a lot of black political behavior is dreadful – but the converse is not true either. It is the fact that the whole mess of inner-city black life has been caused by those people being kicked in the guts for several generations.

It’s complicated – no one right answer either way. But I don’t put up with the white racist stuff on here either – it’s puerile and childish.

        • SW June 20, 2020 at 9:49 am #

I understand what you’re saying Kakadu Man and, born white in America, that’s a hurdle I never had to jump even though I was not born rich. When a black or brown person tells me they’re pre-judged before they ever open their mouths, I do believe them. But I’ve also seen (just like in the white or Asian or Mexican communities) the people who have made the effort to learn to speak correct English and get an education are welcomed into the middle class.

About 30 years ago there was a councilman who visited the primarily black area of the city and said to reporters: “I grew up poor too but I didn’t live in squalor. Soap and water don’t cost much and picking up the trash from your front yard is free.” His implication of course was — this is your environment and you can take responsibility for it. There was a huge outcry and he refused to apologize because he was right. What I find disturbing is a lack of self-criticism on the part of the black community or any acknowledgment that they’re participating in creating and sustaining ongoing problems.

“I think you will find housing, education, training, employment, health, insurance, policing, criminal justice, and political representation … all have pretty negative stats for minorities.”

A broad, vague statement that does not provide any hard evidence that “systemic racism” is reason for “pretty negative stats” (which is also handily imprecise).

          Feel free to try again.

    • SoftStarLight June 20, 2020 at 4:02 am #

Systemic racism not. Systemic privilege yes. Nowadays it has somewhat less to do with color (though BLM is changing that) and more to do with socio-economic standing. Those who are now “fighting” systemic racism usually and intentionally overlook it when it is practiced against the majority group. And they weaponize the alleged crusade against “systemic racism” as a means to silence criticism of and distract from and protect both their own systemic privilege, as well as the privilege of those they work for.

    • Mountain gal June 20, 2020 at 4:11 am #

      @ PeteAtomic

My state is very white and plagued by white guilt. They feel angst over the numbers of blacks(mostly males) stopped by the police. They feel angst over the number of blacks in jail. Except that they tend to be in jail for serious crimes such as murder, armed robbery or being a big drug dealer.

They are currently angsting over the numbers of blacks infected here with Covid-19 as if there was some sort of racism in play; guess the virus is racist too!. There’s a large outbreak among an African immigrant population here; whose fault is that? If people don’t wear masks, social distance etc, why is that now the fault of white people? So now we are going to have to whip ourselves and do penance for this as somehow whites must be responsible. We always are these days I guess. So very sick of it.

      • SW June 20, 2020 at 9:07 am #

There’s an increasing body of evidence that people with low levels of vitamin D have much higher infection rate.

“An Indonesian study published overnight found nearly 99 per cent of hospitalised Covid-19 patients who were deficient in the vitamin died. Yet this fell to just 4.1 per cent for infected cases who had enough of the nutrient. People with darker skin need to spend more time in sunlight in order to get the same amount of vitamin D as a person with lighter skin.”

      There is systemic AGEISM!

If a kid is a bitcoinaire, why can’t he buy cigs and booze and a hooker? Why should businesses lose so much money because of Ageism? Parents are against ageism because they support their kids game and fast food habits to make them happy. the kid could get it for himself with an app and a bank account his parents have to set up for him. If the banks ALLOWED him to have an account without his parents cosigning…life would be so much more fair and easy for the parents! the kid could buy a car with his bitcoin! Pay the bills! They could even start charging their kids RENT!

And they should be able to work at 10 years old if that is what makes them happy!

And 65 year olds should not get SSI if they are still healthy and wealthy!!!

    • SW June 20, 2020 at 9:11 am #

This holiday was first only celebrated in Texas:

“Juneteenth marks the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas in 1865 to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people be freed. The troops’ arrival came a full two and a half years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation.” I think now it’s celebrated as a day that all slaves were freed.

      • Nightowl June 21, 2020 at 3:07 am #

It isn’t celebrated anywhere. It is an obscure day pulled from the history books to be used for propaganda purposes.

I joked ealier that certain encyclopedias are referring to it as a “popular” and “global” holiday. I would be most interested to see when those entries were last edited.

    As a “white” LOL

I have an ancient family that runs through Tsarist Russia on my dad’s side, and mom is from west gaelic Ireland.

We never held slaves. Why are we held guilty of history that we never did?

So fuck you and your racist bullshit, that’s how I feel.

    • SoftStarLight June 20, 2020 at 3:41 am #

It’s an understandable feeling. Unfortunately you are entering a realm in which you are judged morally worthy or unworthy according to immutable characteristics rather than any specific connection to a perceived unjust action or set of actions you may or may not have taken. In the mind of the mob the fact that you are “a “white” LOL” means that you are directly guilty for the injustices of slavery among others no matter what the facts may be.

    • Mountain gal June 20, 2020 at 4:20 am #

Exactly Pete. My family wasn’t in this country when slavery was in effect. They were having quite a time of it in Eastern Europe themselves. We never owned slaves, benefited from them or had any connection to it. Lots of terrible things have been done to my own people. We don’t sit there with our hands out asking for handouts to “pay ” for it.

      • Kakadu Man June 20, 2020 at 5:54 am #

My family wasn’t in this country when slavery was in effect.

I don’t think individual ‘reparations’ are the answer either – far too much of it would be just pissed up against a wall – but the argument about not being here during slavery is pretty irrelevant – it is the nation that’s culpable … not any specific generation, and if reparations were approved, all taxpayers would be equally liable.

        It’s how it works.

        • Cavepainter June 20, 2020 at 9:36 am #

Oh yeah? Ever studied how brutally savage was life in sub-Saharan Africa back when tribes were intermiinably warring against one another to obtain captives for marketing to the slave trader industry? How about the fact that labor in the North (supplied by mass immigration from Europe due to overpopulation and “commoners” being driven off the land due to increase in “titles” among growing population of industrial barons) was no less “captive” in urban squalor than “owned” labor force in the south.

To the contrary of Harriot Beecher’s Stowe’s purely religious screed denigrating plantation owners — as well as southerner’s general — often owners viewed their role as custodial to the benefit of their “charges. Understandible when considered that back then there was not today’s vastly greater intellectural/scientific capital for understanding social/cultural/racial differences.

In the North abolishionist were a unfavored minority against whom worker regularly rioted against due to viewing the influx of freed or excaped slaves as threat to both wages and culture. In the meantime owners/managers not only got to “virtue signal” their opposition to slavery the influx of cheaper labor population aided in the early efforts to squelch labor unionization.

Black Lives Matter has done more harm to African descendents that did Jim Crow laws, whereas by the blood lines that were brought here as slaves had much less prospect of being present today had they remained in Africa.

We’ve been making reparations for 60 years with affirmative action. How much has that cost?

        • King of Comedy June 20, 2020 at 2:38 pm #

How about the African nations that sold fellow Africans to the slave traders? People such as Henry Louis Gates, hardly a Fox News regular, have provided pretty compelling evidence that 90% of slaves that eventually wound up in the Americas were sold. There are also many extant records of those same nations protesting vehemently against the British abolition of slavery in 1801.The Roots scenario of being chased and captured by whitey is largely a myth. Wouldn’t those African nations’ culpability demand that they pony up as well?

and if reparations were approved, all taxpayers would be equally liable. – Kaka

I don’t think ‘who pays’ is the main issue. What matters is who receives reparations, how much and for how long.

My wife has a close friend (initials are GD) who considers herself to be a mulatto (yep, she even uses that word and finds it inoffensive). A mulatto is half black and half white. GD’s father was black and her mother white… born and raised in Paris, France. The lineage of the black father is not known with total accuracy. He, himself, is believed to be part white… let’s say 20% white for argument’s sake.

So this couple got married and had 2 daughters who think of themselves as 50/50 black/white. But not really. Probably 40/60. GD went on to marry a guy who appears to be 100% white and they, together, have had 3 children, 2 daughters and one son. GD says her kids are ‘quadroons’ which are people who are one quarter black. You might say ‘close enough for government work’ but in fact these kids are less that 1/4 black. All 3 have college degrees and essentially pass as white.

The son is tall, handsome and very personable. He got a job after college as a salesman in some technical field. His salary and bonuses in 2019 came to almost $500K. He was supposed to marry a gorgeous white girl this month but the wedding had to be pushed off a year due to the C-virus. Eventually they will marry and probably have kids. What percent black will those kids be? The math begins to get difficult. Should those future kids get a slim slice of the reparations pie?

Have the children of the children of the children of any formerly enslaved people ever enjoyed receipt of reparations in all of history? I don’t know. Maybe someone here can inform me. If the answer is yes, has that program of reparations been deemed successful?

What about blacks who immigrated (I believe the correct word is emigrated) to the US long after slavery ended? Do THEY get reparations too?

I see reparations as guaranteed victimhood extending endlessly into the future.

How about a free one way ticket to another country and renouncing US citizenship and seed money to start a new life.
They have for choices any nation in Africa, Jamaica, Brazil to name a few.
Most of them would be back inside of year since I know for a fact most African born Africans do not like American born blacks one bit.

It seems to be part of BLM’s very successful shakedown of corporate America. Give us cash, promote us on your platform, recognize Juneteenth, etc. Or else…

And it will never be enough. We have MLK Day. And Juneteenth. And Black History Month. Columbus Day has been denigrated and turned into “Indigenous People’s Day”. It is never enough and it never will be.

My inbox is full of messages from company after company, all pledging to “do better”. Whipping themselves for their “failures”. White people can wash all of the black feet they want, prostrate themselves, hand over reparations til the cows come home and none of it will ever be enough.

I’ve yet to see the black community take any responsibility for their failures as a community. For their 70 plus percent rate of births to single mothers. To the lack of fathers in their households. To the violence, drug dealing and music that celebrates dysfunctional behavior. To their disdain for education and dependence on welfare and handouts. I’m tired of being blamed for all of this. I didn’t cause it and I can’t fix it. And all of the holidays in the world ain’t gonna fix it either.

No, but once reparations swag is handed out … malt liquor and kool cigarette sales will spike.

I would say sneaker sales too, but during the riots last week just about every sneaker store in the US was looted … Footlocker, Addidas, Nike, there’s enough sneakers out there now to last for the next 10 seasons of midnight basketball.

Tucker Carlson seems to understand the moment much more so than either Trump or Biden. I guess that is why Trump felt like he needed to respond. Weak. Tucker is right. Our system is so compromised what good does voting do? All the uniparty cares about is pandering to and catering to the mob. The nominally elected ones don’t seem to really care about the destruction both real and symbolic that these riots and the culture revolution repesent. And those you thought might care since they campaigned so are nowhere around.

Yesterday in Hartford a large mob of African- Americans stormed the residence of the lefty, Rhodes Scholar mayor, demanding the PD be eliminated. Juneteenth — which nobody heard of before yesterday — seems to have been one inspiration for the demonstration. You have to hand it to Mayor Bronin, he did not grovel and take a knee like some other mayors across the US, but engaged the crowd for an entire hour in the summer heat. I kind of felt sorry for him. The mob had to be mollified so they wouldn’t burn down his house, at the same time he knows for a city of its size Hartford is the most violent and crime ridden on the east coast, and disbanding the PD would immediately create a sort of Purge scenario. He ended up making a few promises, thanked the rabble for their input, and generally diffused the situation. Good thing too. Hartford never really recovered from the race riots of 1968; you can still see storefronts boarded up from 50 years ago. And of course there was ‘white flight’s, which changed the city irrevocably.

Haven’t people who benefited from a Rhodes scholarship got a bit of a street cred. issue in these current times? 🙂

They could offer to pay it back? CVs will need to be scrubbed.

This is one of my issues with most of this stuff. While absolutely acknowledging murky history (which large parts of the UK public actually don’t do to any degree), if you wanted to eschew everything slavery-related in the UK you couldn’t admire many fine Georgian city buildings or stately homes in the country. Many of our most impressive cities were built on the profits of slavery. The standard of living we all have today is a result of slavery and colonialism, which allowed the industrial revolution to start here and not somewhere else. Do the Egyptian pyramids have to be razed to the ground and the A5 (Watling Street) dug up to remove the underlying Roman road because neither used unionised labour? There seems to be a lack of perspective.

We had a minor vegan outcry here when the new plastic bank notes were discovered to include traces of animal fat from their manufacture. But none of the vegans seemed to be aware that much of the steel used to make the cars they drive and the buses they sit in was rolled using tallow.

Makes more sense to me to try to ensure the animals the tallow (or the bank notes) came from were treated humanely while they were alive, and not pumped full of hormones and antibiotics to make them grow faster or survive disgusting conditions. Although I’m sure the vegans wouldn’t argue with either that as an interim measure.

I think that the Anniversary of the Stonewall Inn Gay Bar riots seems to be coming up ( June 28th)? The cops seem to be averse from raiding the Stonewall to enforce Social Distancing in the gay bar? I’ve been to the Stonewall Inn gay bar, believe it or not. Nothing happened, but I was too afraid to go into the back of the bar behind the pool tables to use the restroom and take-a-wiz…. I had a bad run in with a queer once many years ago in the restroom of a marijuana bar “Coffee Shop” in Amsterdam. Nothing happened, but I had prepared myself mentally to take out the Queer with a quick kick to the groin. Fortunately, the Coffee Shop management was aware of the queer infestation in the restroom so nothing went down.

The first recorded Africans in British North America (including most of the future United States) were “20 and odd negroes” who came to Jamestown, Virginia via Cape Comfort in August 1619 as indentured servants.[20] As English settlers died from harsh conditions, more and more Africans were brought to work as laborers.” – wikipedia.org

If “systemic racism” is a problem for blacks, why do the police answer the 911 calls by black women? Wouldn’t racist police, firefighters, businesses avoid and not try to help black women or neighborhoods?

    • GreenAlba June 20, 2020 at 12:01 pm #

Occasionally, in this country (I do not presume to speak for the US, which is a much more complicated quagmire), it can be systemic. Even being female, having a British Empire Medal for services to nursing, and having invented a gadget now used widely by the NHS won’t necessarily prevent you from being considered a target for driving while black, even when you’re doing absolutely nothing other than driving home from work.

It’s not like that everywhere, so maybe systemic isn’t quite the right word, although the Metropolitan Police (London) were found to be ‘institutionally racist’ back at the time of the Stephen Lawrence murder (SL, an academically promising black schoolboy, was stabbed to death by white thugs who didn’t know him, while waiting at a bus stop).

Among other things (like not following procedure or even giving a toss about the investigation) they were found to have tried to discredit his very respectable (Christian) parents, who were committing the heinous sin of pushing for justice for their son.

There was a wholesale overhauling of police training after the Lawrence enquiry, but it seems, from Nurse Neomi Bennett’s experience, that there are still pockets of institutional racism, unless we are to believe that the police who arrested her for nothing were total anomalies – or had been watching too many cop-car races on TV.

She doesn’t look scary to me – in fact she looks like just the kind of person you’d be happy to leave your sick child with in hospital.

But although I don’t wish to comment on the US situation, I’d guess that all those 911 calls from black women (which you mentioned) are electronically logged. And when something is logged, someone is accountable.

      • GreenAlba June 20, 2020 at 12:12 pm #

Not that I meant remotely to suggest the police or fire services would want to ignore them anyway.

        • Karah June 20, 2020 at 1:34 pm #

The point I am trying to make is this is not about racism. This is about people being paid to perform a public service for everyone in the jurisdiction because everything is being logged and recorded.

The BLM are saying we do not want police and firefighters because the “justice system” is using 911 calls for help as an excuse to oppress black men by arresting them for no reason other than being black and male. So the 911 calls by black women or men in the community are all staged by the white establishment? And the black snitches are awarded for keeping the whites in power? BLM are asking the justice system to shut down because they don’t like the outcomes of trials because police officers are not being charged with murder while performing their duty to protect the community?

People are drinking the Koolaid and we know what happens next for them.

Basically I agree but there are such things as technical difficulties. Do you have any copies of the Epstein prison videos. I seem to have lost mine.

And then such things can be faked.

Juneteenth has always been a thing in Louisiana. I find it interesting actually that it doesn’t have wider recognition and is just now becoming a national thing. Especially since I’ve often heard it characterized as a world wide celebration since at least middle school. It has always been a day of music festivals (gospel, jazz, zydeco, R&B), solemn processions, healing circles, candlelight vigils, and recollections of black history. But now that it is becoming an imperial holiday I imagine it will simply be another tool used for compliance and control purposes. Forget the candle light vigils now, if you don’t recognize Juneteenth you may simply lose your job and become the subject of the newly approved micro and macro aggressions of the culture tyrants.

    • JohnAZ June 20, 2020 at 5:06 pm #

In 1776, when Franklin, Adams and mostly Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, they wrote in the original draft that slaves would be freed when the US left England. The Declaration had to be unanimous as one state like New York could undercut the others. To get N. And S. Carolina to sign, the trio had to agree to take out the anti-slavery statement.

So, all you folks wanting to tear down Jefferson memorials, please remember that he was one of three of the original abolitionists.

Juneteenth is to the Blacks what the Fourth of July is to the nation as a whole. I believe it was the announcement of the thirteenth amendment, freeing the slaves, In Texas.

But remember, the country that fought and died for your freedom is still the not so United States of America.

Maybe since we have a large segment of the population that feels so triggered by inanimate objects it would be good to turn back to our original roots. Statues they like will not be exempted from the new old law either.

It seems like China is allowing itself to be a laboratory for the globalists. They basically appear to lead the way in mass surveillance, the social scoring and credit system, and mass movements of people into gigantic central cities. Is it any wonder then that the coronavirus lockdowns started in China? I bet they are receiving a kickback for the trouble. And meanwhile we appear to get piled on by the UN. The UN globalists communists need to be removed from the country and their building in NYC needs to be demolished and replaced with the real America First Headquarters.

All this spying is directly traced to the Vatican the Jesuits and the Inquisition. When I stayed in Toronto, Canada, I befriended a local Italian real estate investor. We were going to buy land together from a farmer and wait for the city to expand north and overtake that farmland. My friend was a Very well knowledged guy and extremely intelligent. He told me the Jesuits keep files on everyone of them, and not just Italians but everyone else as well, especially Jews. I didn’t believe him at that time, and told him he was crazy. He told me he knows people that swore it’s true. Now, having learned what I now know, I very much believe him.

        • SoftStarLight June 21, 2020 at 2:13 pm #

Hmmm, very interesting. I have read some bad things about the Jesuits but never really looked into it. I’ll have to look into it more. I would not doubt it. The current pope himself is an indication that the catholic church is being contolled by an alien force and agenda.

Monuments falling all over the US this weekend, it’s the end of public art in our time. Columbus, a Spanish missionary, US Grant and Francis Scott Key in San Francisco. In DC Gen Albert Pike, and Confederate statues all over the south. Video of it, mobs cheering with arms held in the air. Police are nowhere to be seen, not interfering in the vandalism. What are the armies of police for (800,000 of them) if not to protect public and private property?

Why should the mainstream media follow it especially? It’s just a political rally by a campaigning candidate, which isn’t particularly ‘newsworthy’. It might become news if there are lively protest rallies, or a coronavirus angle – and there has been one.

Not at all Brh. And more so, remember all those health experts who said white supremacy was a way bigger health threat than corona and therefore densely packed protests and even “protests” were very necessary? The lockdowns and the climate hoax go hand in hand supporting one another toward a predetermined goal.

Looks like it won’t be too bad – the Tulsa Rally looks like a fizzer – modest crowds.

And in all the media I consumed, the threat of virus spread was always mentioned – and people had to make real choices about what was more important to them – BLM or Corvid-19..

But risking infection just to go to a political campaign stump-speech … that is borderline crazy! 🙂

        • Ricechex June 20, 2020 at 10:25 pm #

So one of my friends is a liberal. She has been REALLY concerned about COVID and wearing her mask. When she has come to visit, she sits outside 14 feet away and wears the mask. She is very very fearful.

Today she was escalated and panicked “Trump is going to spread the virus! He should never be having a rally!” I asked her why she was concerned about the rally as there have been riots and protests all over the country and supported by the politicians of the state that they occurred in. (She did not complain about those, but did state she would have been a participant, should it have not been for COVID)

Her response was that while she did not agree with the protests being held during COVID, the protests were being held OUTSIDE, so it was okay. Since Trump was holding the rally INSIDE, he was at at fault.

Apparently, this must be how the liberals are justifying this.

          • Kakadu Man June 21, 2020 at 12:56 am #

Apparently, this must be how the liberals are justifying this.

There is little doubt that being outside on streets is less dangerous than being inside a crowded indoor venue … that’s pretty obviously true.

But that is not the main source of justification | explanation. Protesting is a good cause for many, but they don’t get to choose the timing and nature of events, whereas turning up to a stump-speech in a closed arena … that is something you can easily miss on health grounds.

And apparently many thousands did choose not to go out and see Trump … pretty poor return from “a million registrations” … LOL.

        • akmofo June 21, 2020 at 2:28 pm #

No. The nephilim were human beings that in a prior generation had literally fallen from the sky. They were material flesh and blood.

What I sensed were demonic evil spirits in the air. I especially sensed them in old Churches and Cathedrals. These are condemned evil spaces.

These Sons of God (the Watchers) found the Daughters of Men fair, and did lay with them. The offspring were the Giants, the Mighty Men of Old. Perhaps they shouldn’t have watched so closely!

            Uriel by Ralph Waldo Emerson

It fell in the ancient periods
            Which the brooding soul surveys,
Or ever the wild Time coined itself
            Into calendar months and days.

This was the lapse of Uriel,
            Which in Paradise befell.
            Once, among the Pleiads walking,
            Seyd overheard the young gods talking;
And the treason, too long pent,
            To his ears was evident.
            The young deities discussed
Laws of form, and meter just,
            Orb, quintessence, and sunbeams,
            What subsisteth, and what seems.
One, with low tones that decide,
And doubt and reverend use defied,
With a look that solved the sphere,
            And stirred the devils everywhere,
            Gave his sentiment divine
Against the being of a line.
            “Line in nature is not found;
            Unit and universe are round;
            In vain produced, all rays return;
Evil will bless, and ice will burn.”
As Uriel spoke with piercing eye,
            A shudder ran around the sky;
The stern old war-gods shook their heads,
            The seraphs frowned from myrtle-beds;
            Seemed to the holy festival
            The rash word boded ill to all;
            The balance-beam of Fate was bent;
            The bounds of good and ill were rent;
Strong Hades could not keep his own,
            But all slid to confusion.

            A sad self-knowledge, withering, fell
            On the beauty of Uriel;
In heaven once eminent, the god
            Withdrew, that hour, into his cloud;
            Whether doomed to long gyration
            In the sea of generation,
Or by knowledge grown too bright
To hit the nerve of feebler sight.
            Straightway, a forgetting wind
            Stole over the celestial kind,
And their lips the secret kept,
If in ashes the fire-seed slept.
But now and then, truth-speaking things
            Shamed the angels’ veiling wings;
And, shrilling from the solar course,
Or from fruit of chemic force,
Procession of a soul in matter,
Or the speeding change of water,
Or out of the good of evil born,
Came Uriel’s voice of cherub scorn,
And a blush tinged the upper sky,
And the gods shook, they knew not why.

This poem is in the public domain.

          • akmofo June 21, 2020 at 3:22 pm #

It should be remembered that the Hebrew God finally destroyed the Anakim (the giant ones) who were descendants of the Nephilim (the fallen ones) during the battle at Gibeon, where the sun stood still and did not sink into the sea for many hours while the sky rained a hail of boulders on the five armies of C’na’an.

No one knows for sure where Gibeon is located, but my guess is that it is near Lake Galilee. There are huge fields strewn with large charred black boulders there and these fields stretch to the Golan Height. These boulders are labeled basalt rock, that is, originating from a volcano, but there’s no volcano in the area, and to my eyes the strewn rocks look like classic meteorites.

Your constant obsession with street-crime porn is as tiresome as it is totally pointless. You might live in a nasty neighbourhood of a nasty city, but really, no-one else cares very much.

      • BackRowHeckler June 21, 2020 at 7:29 am #

Well, isn’t Minneapolis the city where the PD will be disbanded? I’m trying to figure how its gonna work out? Apparently the thinking goes it is the presence of the PD that is the cause of this ghetto centered mayhem and bloodshed, and once disbanded, a peaceful utopia will settle in.

Yesterday, in ‘de hood’ in Hartford and New Haven, multiple shootings, including a particularly egregious one, 19 yo female basketball star shot thru the head while asleep when someone opened fire on her house. A few stabbings too.

You would think with all the concessions made by ‘the man’ overwhelming support from corporate America, MSM and Hollywood backing, the police backing off, violence in The Community would abate a little bit. That doesn’t seem to be the case. Bloodshed is on the increase as the temp heats up.

My son witnessed the shooting in the CHOP. He was there. Two black guys got into it and one pulled. It was the ongoing nightly festival. Fireworks drugs and other lack of white focus. But in the larger festivities there were big black guys with guns and a large group of blacks having their own separate party at one one end of the chop and that is where the trouble was. The police took at least 10 minutes to respond and the all black crowd at that end of the CHOP prevented the police from accessing the crime scene and only would let an ambulance through.

My son was with two friends and they saw two black men getting into it. He and is friends were smart enough to get a few hundred feet away and in about five minutes pop-pop-pop-pop.

‘Dude was that gunfire? (My son asked Blake who saw action in Afganistan)

    ‘Yep it sure was

They waited a few minutes and then went to see what happened and they saw a black man under a tent pavilion which in the day sheltered a water bottle and medic stand. The victim was getting amateur CPR with blood coming out of his mouth.

‘Dude are we seeing someone die.

    ‘Yep we sure are.

Ten minutes later the crowd let the ambulance in but not the police escort behind it.

. Fireworks drugs and other lack of white focus?

  90. K-Dog June 21, 2020 at 1:08 am #

The area is a block of two story businesses and there is no residential property in the CHOP. If the area is without leadership the area needs to be taken back. One dead in a crime that can’t even be investigated. That can’t happen again and it is time for tolerance to manifest in a new way. I think it is time for a battalion of National Guard Troops to set up camp in Cal Anderson Park and the city needs to establish a means for the Seattle Community to voice its concerns. Protestors and others. But the CHAZ itself, martial law. If you don’t have business in the area a guardsman needs to tell you to keep moving and curfew at night. Seattle has parade permits and lots of parks where people can gather for legal protest. If it were my potato I would announce that the Seattle major news agencies be required to cover all parades and protest gatherings which have been lawfully organized by published procedure which I would require them to publish. Reform is on the table and in the public sphere but so is law and order. People deserve protection.

This is a total tautology … all racism is “white racism” … only white people can be racist. True fact – because “racism” isn’t about skin colour – its about physical, economic, and political power over others.

      Some might disagree.

      • Sredni Vashtar June 21, 2020 at 12:13 pm #

So if I’m walking through a Black neighborhood and I get assaulted, I have the power? What kind? Physical – then I would stop them. Economic – they take my money. Political? Democracy is five Black and one White deciding on whose going to be the evening’s entertainment.

One of the stupidest and most vicious ideas ever promulgated by our corrupt Universities.

General Grant’s slave-owning Southern Belle wife, Julia, was “homely” and she had a “lazy eye”. I wonder what Julia looked like as she was sucking General Grant’s cock? The thought of blowing her husband’s big Yankee dick must have occurred to the Southern Belle as she was watched General Grant drinking his Pop Skull whiskey and smoking his huge cigars? Constantly hectoring her slaves and her servants probably wasn’t enough for Julia. She probably needed that big Yankee dick?

It’s extraordinary how the men of Sodom tried to “know” the angels who visited Lot. They gathered around the house shouting send out the strangers that we may know them. Lot begged them not to do this terrible deed, even sending out daughters instead. What does that say about Lot? Perhaps that in traditional cultures, the guest is to be treated as God, Himself, angels or not. Or that homosexuality is such a hideous crime that even heterosexual gang rape cannot compare.

But the perverts refused the girls. Pressing against the door, the angels finally blasted them. Judeo-Christian faggots of all denominations (including Vatican) now try to make the case that the Sin of Sodom was a lack of hospitality to the guests. Tell that to angels who almost got shafted! Even today that area appears to have been hit by a thermonuclear missile. Or perhaps two, one for Sodom and one for Gomorrah.

    Uh oh.

OAC has announced this AM that a con job was run at the Tulsa rally, that young folks bought up all the tickets ad then just did not show up. The people who wanted to couldn’t. A pretty good example of youngsters using the internet to outfox their elders. Trump’s troops got flummoxed on this one. Not a good sign.

As a Trump guy, I am very concerned about the campaign seeming to lose its direction over the past few months. The opposition keeps firing shots at him and he seems to have lost interest at firing back. I wonder if he is “done”. I would not blame him one bit. He even made the comment last night that the Swamp was so much deeper than he thought when he won in 2016. Sounded like a concession.

So all Biden may have to do is show up. Maybe he will not even have to leave his basement.

So, this fall, the Gimme have nots may gain control of everything. This is not White-Black any more, it is haves versus have nots and the have nots now out number the haves. A consequence of the income inequality aspect Of Capitalism. The consequence of this is ALWAYS a turnover of power in the government.

I saw an article this morning that said that the Elite in this country has stopped spending because of coronavirus and thus has caused the severe downturn in the economy. This is an effect that the Lefy progressives do not even want to acknowledge, that without the Elite, the country is a third world nation. This effect is way too deep for the dumb ass protestors to understand. Biden understands, he manipulated the national government to create wealth for his family, not dumb. The dumb people are the ones that want to deny this basic fact, that the haves control an economy and the have nots are a load.

Newport RI, which I had the privilege to live in for a few years, is a prime example. Sorta like Martha’s Vineyard today. The Elite of the Gilded Age moved there to get out of the summer doldrums of New York. The middle class of Newport grew up around the Vanderbilts and their like. Without them, Newport would have never grown into its present day.

Today, the country faces a turning point. The have nots Outnumber the haves due to the machinations of the Left for fifty years. Our government represents the majority of the public. The have nots are showing their new found power everywhere and the haves do not have a clue what to do about it. The revolution may be in the books this November.

One major problem, the have nots are owned by people who do not want good things for America. What is going to happen if Biden gets there with Schumer and Pelosi and find out that there is no economy to work from? The have nots are going to eliminate their new leaders when they do not produce.

The good news, it could bury the Deep State once and for all, which may be worth it.

Not sure where all this gloom and angst springs from … Democrats have been in power fairly recently, and in fact America did rather well. In fact America has fared rather well under Dem presidents at least since Woodrow Wilson. Much better than under Republican ones.

I think you read too much Ayn Rand as a college kid. We all did, but most of us rejected it for the piffle it was. The have-nots – the working class, working poor, and so on – have always out-numbered the elite a hundred or a thousand to one.

And America was built by the working class – the Vanderbilts and others from Newport RI stole the wealth.

      • BackRowHeckler June 21, 2020 at 1:35 pm #

The first Vanderbilt in America was a Dutch farmboy who arrived here as an indentured servant.

In the 19th century Vanderbilt’s built the NY Central RR and owned various shipping firms. What did they steal?

You’re watching Tucker Carlson I presume? If not, please commence. He explains it very well. Trump is fiddling while America burns. He played at being a great populist in 2016 and this is his chance to really be one. It’s all served up on a golden platter: put down the rioters whom you called terrorists. Save America. If the army won’t come, it’s on them and we know where we stand at least – and he is exonerated at least that far. But they were there last night at least – no disarmed National Guardsmen this time.

Why should people bother to show up? His performance has been disgraceful. They are voting with their feet as they did in his favor back in 2016. They may still vote for him of course, while holding their nose. But many won’t and he may lose.

He’s an old guy. What does he have to lose? His relationship with the Kushners? Throw it to the winds. If he fears retribution, remain in complete seclusion. He could still turn the tide and win the election without the rallies. Based on the poor turnout last night, I heard he cancelled the next scheduled one. He needs to stop trying to con the people and just do the right thing.

      • akmofo June 21, 2020 at 2:38 pm #

        You’re misreading the situation.

The commies set a trap for Trump. Nothing happens by accident, and Trump knows this. He known that the whole show is staged and managed by paid CIA actors and mercenaries. The gov mafia is heavily involved in the riots. The “security agencies” know and track everybody, and if something happens it’s because they planned it so.

Best that Trump side step the trap. People are arming themselves and if the commies come to trash their neighborhood, them commies will be shot dead.

When does The Purge of books by white authors begin?

That’s gonna be One Big Bonfire!

Start it off with southern writers — Flannery O Connor, Katherine Ann Porter, Thomas Wolfe, Faulkner, Erskine Caldwell and so on … then after the fire gets good and hot stoke it up with the Big Leaguers — Shakespeare, Melville, Heminqway, Mark Twain, Swift … in 1917 after the Soviets assumed power in Russia Lenin’s wife Krupskaya was given the task as official censor and book burner. Not much got by her. Books were burned all over Russia — my favorite Chekhov didn’t make the cut — get caught with a copy of The Cherry Orchard and it was a 7.62×54R round in the back of your head I’ll tell you what.

Don’t expect any help from academia when the burning starts, they’ll be down with it. A few ‘racists’ and right wingers might object, but who cares what they think?

Nothing new about it, it’s all happened before. Entire volumes have been written on the subject — read one before its burnt to a crisp.

The final step is elimination of ‘whiteness’ from the face of the earth. Haha sometimes the mob likes to speak in metaphors.

the last few paragraphs of the Saker’s article, What Kind of Popular Revolution Is This?

In his seminal article “Race and Crime in America” (an absolute MUST READ for any person wanting to understand what is taking place today!) Ron Unz makes a very interesting observation:

“The empirical fact is that presence or absence of large numbers of Hispanics or Asians in a given state seems to have virtually no impact upon white voting patterns. Meanwhile, there exists a strong relationship between the size of a state’s black population and the likelihood that local whites will favor the Republicans”.

In other words, the larger the Black minority, the more likely Whites will vote Republican. Of course, one can dismiss this by saying that these Whites are all racists, but that does not help either because it begs the question of why Whites do not become racists when living next to Hispanics and Asians, but do so when they live near Blacks. The explanation is in Ron’s article: “local urban crime rates in America seem to be almost entirely explained by the local racial distribution” (please see the charts in Ron’s article for the data supporting this conclusion).

This makes for a potentially very explosive mix, especially in a time when police officers now risk a reprimand, a demotion. being fired or even criminal charges for using “excessive force” against any Black suspect (yes, US cops often do use excessive force, but the solution here is not to paralyze the police forces, lest the civilians feel like they need to defend themselves.

(As I have said it many times, I don’t believe that the term “race” has a scientific basis, nor do concepts such as “Black” or “White”. This does not mean that they don’t have a political meaning, especially in a country which is obsessed by race issues (yes, one can obsess about non-existing things). In the US most people self-identify with a color, thus to them this is something very real. For example, the figures used in Ron Unz’ article are based upon these concepts understood sociologically, not biologically, and this is the only reason why I use them too, though somewhat reluctantly, I will admit.)

Conclusion: this is no popular revolution at all

It is undeniable that a major chuck of the US ruling classes have decided to support the BLM movement and the riots it instigates. Furthermore, these US ruling classes have instrumentalized these riots in a transparent attempt to prevent a Trump reelection in November. And just like the Republicans have been destroying the AngloZionist empire on the international scene, the Democrats have been destroying the United States from within. Far from being a real popular protest movement, the BLM movement is a tool in the hands of one faction of the US deep state against another faction. A lot of Trump nominees/appointees are now seeing the writing on the wall and are betraying their boss in order to switch sides and abandon what they see as a sinking ship.

My personal feeling is that Trump is too weak and too much of a coward to fight his political enemies (if he had any spine, it would have shown at the time when Trump betrayed Flynn only a month into his presidency). History, however, shows that a political vacuum cannot last very long. In Russia the chaos lasted from February to November 1917, at which point the Bolsheviks (who were a relatively small party) easily seized power and, following a bloody civil war, restored their version of law and order. I still don’t see a civil war taking place in the USA, but some kind of coup is, I think, a very real possibility. This is especially true considering that most Democrats will never accept a Trump reelection while most Republicans will never accept a Biden presidency. This is a case of “not my president” powerfully backfiring on its creators.

Those of us who live in the US better prepare for a very dangerous and difficult year!

    • Sredni Vashtar June 21, 2020 at 3:00 pm #

In a clip of the speech I saw, Trump evoked a classic principle to explain his inaction: Never get in the way when your enemy is making a mistake. I think this is a cover for his glaring weakness. Or else he is forgetting an even greater principle, the one behind the social contract, namely: All public good follows from order. Keeping that order is the first and foremost task of government. It’s the reason we pay taxes.

What if other autonomous zones spring up while waiting for the Democrats to blow it and expose themselves? He could be claiming imminent victory all the way to a stunning defeat and subsequent house arrest. People aren’t inclined to vote for weakness. The clever often outsmart themselves in like manner, unable to put first principles first.

Yes that makes a lot of sense. It seems like Trump is now living in a different world altogether. I think he has missed too many important moments now and clearly he himself has demoralized many of his supporters. It doesn’t seem like a simple election can resolve all of this at this point.
