Of course, George Floyd didn’t deserve to die with a cop’s knee on his neck and his face mashed into the pavement, but after yesterday’s first of what will be several funerals for the now revered former armed robber and convict, you’d think he was the second coming (and going) of George Washington. Uh, check that… Washington was a slave-owner and, by definition, a racist. Make that Julius Caesar — based on the way that the Rev. Al Sharpton was bellowing at funeral No.1 Thursday in Minneapolis. Say, what? Julius Caesar owned slaves too? How about Abe Lincoln then? Naw, just another white man? And a secret racist (so they say).

Racist, racist racist! America is racist! Racism is systemic! Racism flows in the hallowed blood of the American system, going back all the way to 1619! All white people are racist. Get down on your bellies and crawl like a snake and beg forgiveness for your natural-born, inalienable racism! Anyway, that’s reality according to The New York Times, America’s premier journal of racism studies.

To prove that America is hopelessly racist, the nation has been treated to, what — ? — seven, or is it now eight nights of looting and burning by young black people acting out every racist stereotype from the Ku Klux Klan official manual of racism. The rest of the news media bent over backwards to avoid deploring the mayhem in the streets, rather, to invert the very looting, burning, and rioting as proof positive that America is racist to the bone. Look what you made us do! Steal sneakers and Rolex watches! Shoot cops, including an old retired black cop (uh, my bad) and run over several more cops with cars! Destroy businesses large and small that have been shut down for three months by corona virus to make sure they won’t ever dare to resume their racist trade in things that white people like!

Has anyone detected a hustle in the past week’s dire proceedings? Well, how would you define a hustle? How about: an attempt to gain advantage by deceitful means. What! Are you saying there was something dishonest about the reaction from sea to shining sea to George Floyd’s murder in Minneapolis? I am. For example, the massive protest marches. Who exactly was disputing that the death of George Floyd was a miscarriage of justice? Nobody. Did the cops get away with it? No, they’re all getting indicted for murder or being accessories to a murder by standing around watching it and doing nothing to stop it.

No, this is a hustle, all right, perhaps the most obvious hustle in US history. It’s the Democratic Party’s last stratagem to get the monster of its own creation, Donald Trump, out of the White House. RussiaGate didn’t do it (in fact, it’s backfiring rather horribly now), ImpeachmentGate was a dud. Welcome to GeorgeFloydGate! I know it’s hard to imagine at this moment of maximum televised sanctimony, but this gambit is going to flop, too. A lot of voters have probably noticed that the wholesale looting and burning of US cities is not in the national interest. And that the people who do it don’t deserve special favors.

Of course, this is also a moment of maximum collective acute psychosis in America. The nation is pretty badly shook-up after three months of corona virus lockdown.  Millions watched their careers, incomes, businesses, and futures wash down the drain. Upsetting as the killing of George Floyd was, these losses are monumental in comparison. 99 percent of the people in America are scared shitless about where all this economic damage is taking the nation — even as they watch the stock markets go up and up and up. By the way, the past week of looting, burning, and rioting was especially fruitful for Wall Street. D’ya think that might eventually tick off a few taxpayers who understand that the stock-pumping is being accomplished by the Federal Reserve brokering more national debt in their name?

Joe Biden’s campaign has announced that he will headline the next funeral in George Floyd’s hometown of Houston, the place where Mr. Floyd accomplished the home invasion and aggravated robbery of a woman in 2009 that sent him to state prison for five years. (He was turning his life around in Minneapolis where, ten days ago, he suffered a lapse of judgment while high on fentanyl and passed a counterfeit $20 bill in a corner store, leading to his arrest and unjust death.) I’m counting on Joe Biden to raise America’s awareness about systemic racism at that event — if he can remember where he is and what’s going on.

Also on Thursday this week, the Rev. Al Sharpton announced plans for a march on Washington in August, perhaps just before the Democratic convention in Milwaukee for maximum effect. You may be aware that Joe Biden has obliged himself (sort of) to put a woman-of-color on the ticket for vice-president. Though Stacey Abrams, the real governor of Georgia, seems like the inevitable choice, I have a better idea. Wouldn’t it be perfect to bring back Tawana Brawley for this historic role? She figured so decisively in establishing the Rev. Mr. Sharpton’s cred as leader in the long quest for social justice. She’s all growed-up now and ready to rock! Tawana Brawley, America turns its lonely eyes to you! #Tawana Brawley for veep! Spread the news far and wide!

Have you ever read any of the early, post-Civil War works of Booker T. Washington, WEB Dubois, etc.? They always talk about “The Talented Tenth”, the 10% of the black population in the US that is truly exceptional and who has a special messianic mission to lead the rest of the black population out of bondage, like Moses in the Bible. Of course, they also lament that generally the other 90% of the blacks don’t buy into this and basically always run in the opposite direction. They also lament the 9% of the black population that have criminal personalities. I could never figure out where the 9% figure came from? But it must be a Bell Distribution? But what can you do?

I think that WEB Dubois went to “Fisk” in Nashville. Nashville is renowned for its excellent Country Music, fine whiskey, and superb barbecue.

90% of the comments at clusterfuck nation come from less than 10 % of the reading public. The Pareto principle states that, for many events, roughly 80% of effects come from 20% of causes so you merely exaggerate. The Pareto manifests in many ways in groups of people of all colors and sizes. So what is the matter with you? Are you rasis? Don’t be rasis, not nice.

      • Pucker June 5, 2020 at 11:39 am #

In one of his books, WEB Dubois recounts an experience in the hills of rural Tennessee trying to educate and uplift a benighted black girl who was basically being a “Ho”. She wasn’t going to have any of his moralizing, and Dubois abandoned the effort in frustration.

Hell ‘Ho’s” come in all colors sizes and shape.colllege girls looking for “sugar daddies”,street corners are likely spots as they run out into traffic at a light flip their jackets open so you can see what they got, motels are likely spots for” Ho’s” that goes along with there house keeping duty……

It might be a hustle, but, so far, a very effective one. We’ve moved significantly closer to totalitarianism.

whites have prepared, left so little for their children most of their kids really dont care what happens. I think their logic is “doing something is better than nothing” , which is after all what republicans, even though they seem level headed right now, actually want…to do nothing about anything

  3. Lawfish June 5, 2020 at 10:09 am #

I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races–that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race.

Abraham Lincoln, 1853 (during the Douglass debate).

    • shotho June 5, 2020 at 10:36 am #

If this is true, then, Lincoln was not a Christian.

      • DrTomSchmidt June 5, 2020 at 10:45 am #

What was your first indication? He was a master rhetorician, and knew the words of the Bible. He just didn’t believe them.

“But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate—we can not consecrate—we can not hallow—this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. ”

Men make things holy, make things consecrated. Not God.

As for your male and female slaves whom you may have: you may buy male and female slaves from among the nations that are around you. You may also buy from among the strangers who sojourn with you and their clans that are with you, who have been born in your land, and they may be your property. You may bequeath them to your sons after you to inherit as a possession forever. You may make slaves of them, but over your brothers the people of Israel you shall not rule, one over another ruthlessly

        Leviticus 25:44-46.

        Christian and a white supremacist.

“Abraham Lincoln, 1853 (during the Douglass debate).”

That…that fucking racist! We must wipe out all historical monuments, all documents related to this bastard. He is even on our money! The Five dollar bill, and the penny. Show your contempt for his memory by shunning the $5 reserve note…better yet, send them to me, care of this site. Keep the goddamned pennies….

Every $5 bill sent to me will be properly, if wantonly, disposed of…a portion of the remittance will be used to promote law enforcement training, so that current outrages can be…quashed…forever.

      • Lawfish June 5, 2020 at 11:39 am #

        Haha, Elysian!

Time to bring down the Lincoln Memorial, I guess.

        • BackRowHeckler June 5, 2020 at 12:13 pm #

Oh, the Lincoln Memorial will go eventually. This is a cultural revolution carried out by a home grown Red Guard. Every last vestige of Christian Anglo Saxon civilization needs to be demolished.

          • Quatermain June 5, 2020 at 12:40 pm #

That is exactly what happened in South Africa, virtually every town, street and airport renamed to not give an inkling of credit to those that built it. Basically Apartheid and Segregation were intelligent attempts at solving complete social incompatibility.

    • Martin28 June 5, 2020 at 11:40 am #

Put that in one column, and all of the other things that Lincoln said or did regards to race in the other column. One of the fallacies with social justice judgement is that if you find one instance of prejudice, that defines someones entire life (if it is the kind of prejudice they are looking for). There are all kinds of biases and prejudices. Lincoln was definitely on the low end of the scale.

      • draupnir June 5, 2020 at 1:22 pm #

Except for maybe the Quakers, everybody felt that way about blacks at that time. Though many opposed slavery, they were unprepared to accept them into society on anywhere near an equal footing, and who can really blame them? Almost completely illiterate and owning nothing but the clothes on their backs, unable to even speak the language of the land properly, they were ill prepared to fit into society.

    • dorn June 5, 2020 at 5:46 pm #

Also, in a letter to Horace Greeley, “Honest Abe” stated, ” If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it…” Freed the slaves, indeed.

    Good Morning James:

Yes, another awesome article, but I fear reading it. As we continue with our gloves, masks, gowns at work, and covid cases are still coming in, the news rarely talks about it. The more fearful development is that if you have another opinion, or support our troops or good police officers they target your employer. The neighborhood App,” Next door” had a discussion where folks from the burbs said they would defend their families and property from looters, immediately they were called racists, and since your real name is displayed, other posters said they would go complain to their employers and have them fired. The hospital where I work, the young folks went protesting and agree with the tactic if a post has hints of racism=( different opinion, asks a question) they would try to find their employer and have them fired. The most feared and persecuted folks are those that ask questions. I have dropped the app Nextdoor, facebook, and am fear to post here, but I just had a awesome expresso with homemade Italian pizzelles so I feel brave.

I like Nextdoor because it is free and lets me know who lives right next door to me which is increasingly becoming more important as our world contracts.

Since EVERY job is threatened, not only racist jobs, then working from home and more locally (where people are inclined to be as racist as you are) becomes more important.

For those that are trapped living next door to people who hate them or they could never relate to in a million years…there’s ZOOM!

      • K-Dog June 5, 2020 at 11:38 am #

Next-door is like this place ‘localized’. Mr’s Dog discovered it. There is a lakefront neighborhood not so far away from us and the residents there are always writing about suspicious people who are in the street. Crime of crimes. Standing in the street.

She writes to inquire and she pushes push and prods to make them admit that ‘the crime’ is actually being black in a neighborhood where old residents have not figured out that some black people earned enough money to be their petit-bourgeois cracker assed neighbors. She starts with. Did they have a dog?

        • K-Dog June 5, 2020 at 11:39 am #

          pushes and prods

        • Karah June 5, 2020 at 12:34 pm #

I have seen the same behavior you describe in two neighborhoods since I moved while using the Nextdoor app. In my old neighborhood, they post the offenders picture and claim that must be the person who stole your bike because they look (hispanic) suspicious hanging around here riding a bike. I post a reply suggesting posting pictures of people is not a good idea in case they turn out to be wrong. The next time happened soon after I moved here. Someone said to beware of the (hispanic) male walking down the street…like somehow that is a bad thing to do. They qualified it by saying the police were looking for a (hispanic) male walking down the street…which could be anybody! We have an hispanic male living in our hood. I ignored that post and hit “hide post”.

Click on my name if you want to try out the Zoom app. It’s easy and fun! And you will finally know if I am really grey!!!

          • K-Dog June 5, 2020 at 1:09 pm #

True proof of guilt is leaning against cars while they stop walking for a moment to talk on their phones.

          • K-Dog June 5, 2020 at 1:13 pm #

People complaining never walking enough to get sore dogs.

“I like Nextdoor because it is free and lets me know who lives right next door to me which is increasingly becoming more important as our world contracts.”

I know who lives next door to me because I’ve been speaking to them since I moved in. Not to mention that the people I bought the flat from left useful information about household stuff, plus the names of the people who lived next door and up above. I don’t think the neighbours on either side are on Nextdoor, not that I’d particularly know, so it’s just as well we’re all sociable beings anyway.

‘Nextdoor’ gives me recommendations for painters, joiners and electricians, and asks me to look out for lost cats. Very occasionally someone mentions if someone dodgy has been spotted doing something er… dodgy. If people start political discussions or start proselytising for their religious beliefs (both rare), they’re asked to do it somewhere more appropriate.

Interesting how the same app is used in different places!

        • Karah June 5, 2020 at 12:38 pm #

Generally, I think organized religion is a hustle…as we have many examples of that in the media like Kunstler brought out.

As far as declaring ones religious affiliation or promoting their religion…why not in an open forum like Nextdoor? Where is somewhere more appropriate? People here have crosses and political signs on their front doors…what makes posting it on Next”door” any different?

          • GreenAlba June 5, 2020 at 12:51 pm #

I guess there’s just a local understanding and agreement about what Nextdoor is for – that would vary according to country and location – and even neighbourhood, I suppose.

I recall the guy (it only happened once, to my knowledge) was offering his services (proselytising) and someone else said they thought it was highly inappropriate on the site. Someone else was asked to drop it when making political points before the last election, wrapped up in neighbourhood concerns.

I don’t make the rules, even the informal ones – I just observe. And since I haven’t been able to access my emails for about six weeks, it may all have changed. 🙂

There was a lot of offering of help during the Covid crisis, which I think most people consider a better use of the site.

            “Where is somewhere more appropriate?”

Facebook? But seriously, as I said, it’s just a case of different places using the site for different purposes. Whatever a ‘neighbourhood’ considers appropriate is appropriate.

        • SW June 5, 2020 at 12:59 pm #

About 5 years ago on Christmas Eve night around 10PM I was driving home from my daughter’s and saw a young black man who looked around 18 on a bike with a large backpack. A lot of neighbors were gone for the holidays and this looked suspicious so I called the police to check it out, they came questioned him and nothing happened. When I called, they told me to put a description of him on the neighborhood listserve. I was hit with a barrage of attacks accusing me of being a “racist” and to this day people in the neighborhood have mentioned this to me. Several neighbors did, however, privately contact me in support but did so privately. So only a few understood I reported him b/c he looked suspicious, not b/c he was black.

The looting will continue to be “sanctified” b/c if you condemn it then you’re a racist. This is where situational ethics get you — there is no right or wrong, only “situations”.

        • Kakadu Man June 5, 2020 at 4:08 pm #

‘Nextdoor’ gives me recommendations for painters, joiners and electricians, and asks me to look out for lost cats.

Exactly how we use it here in the Paris of the South. And to sell or give away surplus stuff. There are no political rants, as far as I know. There’s a current discussion / survey about loneliness during the pandemic.

And no – I don’t need an app to tell me who all my neighbours are either.

          • SW June 5, 2020 at 4:34 pm #

That’s what we always used it for too until I got hit with the racist label. In my neighborhood, there are no through streets so there’re few reasons why anyone to come back here who doesn’t live here. That’s why I was suspicious. I know my neighbors too and we’ve always gotten along well. But I found out how virulent political correctness can be.

    • sophia June 5, 2020 at 11:29 am #

The lies and the insanity are becoming more blatant. I don’t know the percentage of Americans that are so completely insane. I think this situation with the riots, with the mainstream media and several elected politicians catering to them while refusing to protect the innocent, should surely show a lot of otherwise complacent people their true colors.

But these riots are not about blacks acting up. Those engaging in much of the worst violence are white. They are antifa. This is an insurgency. At the very same time, no matter what Trump does the media smears his efforts most slanderously. We even have retired general Mattis saying that calling in the military to restore order is a danger to the constitution. Well, that is a perfect 180 degrees off from the truth. The military has been called in before in these situations, and those times the situation was not nearly as out of hand as now.

James, you not only unfairly blame blacks for all this but you also underplay the real scope of what is going on.

They have pulled out the stops on this one. How do you think revolutions happen? They are coordinated, planned and paid for.

These are the questions we need to get to the bottom of. Who delivered the bricks? Who ran the ads to pay agents provocateur?

How much guilt does the media, and I mean individuals and their owners, carry for deliberately fomenting revolution? I call that treason.

Floyd was just the excuse, the cover to unleash a revolution. Blacks being used.

Let us not be distracted like babies toward every ridiculous statement that the insurgents/leftists put out. When they say things like Trump is a dictator if he restores order or if you vow to defend your own life and home you are racist – those are baubles for babies. Do not even engage with it. They are quite simply war weapons. This is an information war as much as a hot war. Those inanities will stop once one side wins.

Stick to what matters. Trump MUST call in the military immediately. Damn him for being weak!

      • K-Dog June 5, 2020 at 11:48 am #

But these riots are not about blacks acting up. Those engaging in much of the worst violence are white. They are antifa.

No they are idiots. People with brains did not forget we are in a pandemic and idiots with hate gathered in large numbers to make sure the number of black victims will be huge.

Perhaps they are white Republicans who seek to open the country up by building herd immunity using large crowds. A herd immunity which takes people of color at twice the white rate. That is what Covid does and that has been known for over a month. Skin color, vitamin D and death rate. Large demonstrations at this time are irresponsible.

Never have there been more wheels within wheels.

        • sophia June 5, 2020 at 2:35 pm #

K-dog, an even sillier post than usual. You must spent too much time wearing masks, sending the virus up your nasal passages and into your brain. You can’t think clearly with covid brain.

Oh, yeah, definitely white Republicans hate blacks so much that they will go on convoluted riot plans to spread the virus, and endanger themselves, so as to spread it to black people.

Except that it has always been the democrat party that persecuted blacks.

          • capt spaulding June 5, 2020 at 9:01 pm #

Republicans rioting to spread the virus to blacks is about as silly as anything I can imagine, and the Democrats persecuting blacks is equally silly. Everybody knows that the KKK is chock full of liberals, right? This stuff is all ass backwards, but that’s about par for this blog.

        Antifa, Bernies Army?

      • woe June 5, 2020 at 3:30 pm #

All black people are not co-signing on what is going on in this country right now. I bet those black business owners who didn’t have adequate insurance on those businesses and/or whose premiums that will now become unaffordable in the wake of these events could give less of a damn about the organization black lives matter, isn’t there a white person heading black lives matter anyway? The original founder was killed. I also hear that he has become quite wealthy heading this so called social justice organization. When they did the lockdown in those blue states, some of those business owners are ex-felons, they became business owners because they could not find a job, I know several successful business in the city I live in are owned by ex-felons trying to turn their lives around. They also have employees that may have a hard time finding a legitimate job, ex felon business owners are more open to giving second chances, but hey, someone said on the TV (usually white and wealthy and connected, or a person of color who is a first generation descendant of an immigrant, getting paid seven figures) that you might get an infection of something most people will recover from so we need to destroy your local economy to keep you safe. I mean they have never gave a damn about us before, but NOW you are so concerned about our welfare, here’s a one time payment of $1200 dollars so you can sit at home and watch your children starve. Now let us inject some police brutality that is plastered all over MSM, hawked by the same privileged white folks and do nothing tokens, the same people who has never done anything in their lives but run for office or read a teleprompter. I mean I thought there must be a police brutality film festival going on that I didn’t know about. We need to create a 12-step program for recovering leftists the same way we have 12- step programs for every other human dysfunction. Step one; Pledge to back up your opinions with facts instead of emotion. Step two; Thinking you have a monopoly on the truth doesn’t mean you know fact from fiction [ are you Justin Trudeau?] Step three: Listening to those who don’t agree with you is just as important as being heard; Those are just a few of the steps I would recommend to all the useful idiots who are making life intolerable for reasonable-minded people everywhere.

Sometimes I sit back and ponder just how dangerous Trump must be to the entire corrupt system that his enemies have taken it this far.

We have open insurrection of city leadership in multiple cities, and according to Dan Bongino, there is a small cadre of military brass (globalists, like Mattis) that are aiding abetting the McResistance and their shock troops/McRioters.

Truly amazing times, but the Purple Coupsters will fail. A wounded animal struggles most just before it perishes.

The Corona Hoax was well-orchestrated, yes. But when you own the media, anything is doable.

This was discussed a few weeks back, but, in reality, there is such a lock on information on the MSM airwaves that they probably could have pulled this off simply by circulating the idea of a virus.

An actual virus would not even be needed.

No surprises here. As is the case more often than not, JHK has pulled back the curtain. On the other end of the spectrum, I”m wondering if the COVID19 pandemic threat to the lives of millions are threatened by exaggerated fear. If it’s any indicator, the equity markets seems to thinks so. As JHK has predicted for years, the party will end eventually. Perhaps when Biden moves into the white house in January. But if the second wave will be not be as destructive to lives as the first, then skies the limit. Perhaps we will see a collapse of the dollar. I’m guessing it will happen eventually, but not until I’m too old to care.

    • DrTomSchmidt June 5, 2020 at 10:38 am #

The global reserve currency lets us buy stuff from overseas for “dollars.” This gets us free stuff, but destroys our own industrial economy. People who get the dollars benefit, while people who lose the jobs suffer. That’s the last 35 years in the USA, since the Plaza accord.

In order to have the global reserve currency, you have to spend a lot on defense to enforce your will around the planet. Except: we are now at the point where the interest we pay on Federal debt is larger than net borrowing: in other words, something else in the budget is going to need to be cut. Politicians won’t cut SS/Medicare, but there is that $850bln we spend annually on “defense” plus “intelligence.”

That’s where the money is going to have to come from. Those people REALLY don’t want to give up the gravy, and they faced a President in Donald Trump who threatened to withdraw from the Middle East and spend defense dollars on infrastructure.

That cuts off the military, and also destroys the ability of the USA to maintain the reserve currency, cutting off the financial grifters who profit from the Fed.

I think it’s happening now, and unless you’re too old to care in two years, it will have completed by then.

      • elysianfield June 5, 2020 at 11:09 am #

        Dr Tom,
Understand that with the reserve currency, and the strong defense industry, we can print with abandon…and are currently doing so. No need to make any cuts.

Comeuppance comes soon enough, but for now…let the good times roll.

    • woe June 5, 2020 at 7:45 pm #

I think that if trump wins reelection, there is a strong possibility that there will be a second wave of this virus, but it is going to be many times more lethal than the first wave ever was. I think it will be introduced from some bioweapons lab that is hidden somewhere in the world. They ( I have no idea who “they” are, but that doesn’t mean that “they” don’t exist) will claim it is the same thing or a different strain of the same thing, they will release it all over the world to cover their tracks, and blame China, Iran or Russia for its release. Or they could also release some type of virus or bacteria to affect the food or water supply. I would have never contemplated these scenarios before 2020, but after we had been talked into putting 50 million people out of work, that’s just in this country, destroyed countless tons of food, and ruined countless independent farmers and ranchers, found out that we can’t even produce a Tylenol in this country, and now the violence that has so quickly popped up across this country against the police, (despite how you or I may feel about the police, they represent civil order) I think that this is the early signs of some new type of warfare that is being conducted in real time, in this country and others, right before our eyes. I know its out there, but think about it, massive economic dislocation, check, food supply at risk, check, medical system almost to the point of collapse, check. Civil order breaking down, check, failing faith in our institutions, check. ect, ect. (I plan to vote for Trump if there is an election)

It’s pretty clear that George Floyd was made unemployed by the lockdown. He must have been in bad economic circumstances, and so tried to pass off a fake $20. Cue the disaster. Has the Minnesota Governor taken accountability for setting off the gain by locking down the state and impoverishing George Floyd?

Also, don’t be so sure that the cop is guilty of murder. I think he showed callous indifference to human life, but the fact is that the knee on the neck was a standard part of the police manual. He was following orders, in other words.

This situation strikes me as a repeat of Abu Ghraib. Hold the front-line grunts responsible for a policy and an approach made higher up. The weasels mayor of Minneapolis is the worst in this. HIS administration is responsible for the police procedure manual that includes the knee on the neck, yet he blamed the cops for following the procedure.

I see no way for any intelligent conversation anymore. All positions are fixed and in their trenches. Facts are totally irrelevant. They two party system being totally corrupt leaves us drifting to our fate. The mere fact that anyone with their integrity intact would or could run for office seals our fate. The fact that millions of Americans could not recognize integrity more so. We have a fatal crash at the bell curve.

    • Nightowl June 5, 2020 at 10:41 am #

Facts are always relevant. Awareness of facts is another issue. The propaganda machine in place is one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen.

I used to wonder how some authoritarian regimes were so successful. But the McMedia has given us all the chance to learn in real time.

Something like 40% of the Russian people surveyed a year or so ago expressed admiration for Stalin and his works. I find that kind of selective blindness very disheartening, even if the old chestnut of Slav = slave contains a sad ring of truth.

My prediction since the 1960s has resolutely been that overpopulation leads inexorably to totalitarianism. We are at that point. Or have passed it.

      • K-Dog June 5, 2020 at 12:11 pm #

When Stalin died there were many people in prison waiting to be executed. Many of them were executed. Just because Stalin died the death machine he put in place did not stop moving because he was gone.

Of late I too have been wondering why some authoritarian regimes were so successful. It is a chilling thing to contemplate. The country as it was even four years ago would not tolerate the Trump we now have. But normal changed and the outrageous has become acceptable, cruelty has taken on a cloak of dark humor.

Faked fake news is out again. The news which supposedly came from Russia and consisted of bullshit websites with a Potemkin flavor. That part is ironic, the word fits but the list the first time around was a case of thou doth protest too much since legitimate progressive websites were a third of the fake news list. Russians would not do that under the doctrine of the useful idiot.

Point being that facts now are manufactured at will reducing all dialog to appeals of emotion. Reason went down the drain, swirling only briefly as it did. America thinks politics is football and civics as a concept went the way of bowling alleys years ago.

Many find comfort in the authoritarian regime. Authority eliminates the need to think and some people will kill to maintain an authoritarian machine rather than think and take responsibility for themselves. There are more who seek more the warmth of ignorance than any glow of enlightenment. It is a sad but true fact and madness often leads to more madness until there are so many dead people something finally gives.

Most US Africans don’t define themselves as American, they define themselves as blacks. As I said the other day, the trajectory is for the US to look like Syria. Same for Europe. Because exactly the same dynamic is working in all these places.

Multiculturalism is a recipe for imperialism tyranny and feudal slavery. That’s how it works, and the only way it can survive. See Russia.

The way out of this, is either genocide or a complete separation or expulsion of self-defined alien identities to outside defined borders.

The US will have to split apart if it wishes to retain its Enlightenment ideals of individual freedoms. There will have to be population transfers, or else the time bomb just continues ticking.

In the immediate term, there will have to be lots bloodletting, especially of commies in the media and academia. These commies are not going to stop until they are punched in the face, hard!

If I remember right, it was the Irish U2 singer Bono and his British compadres that did in SA through a public relations campaign. The Jews in SA advocated for Indians to be brought in en mass and receiving privileged attractive conditions to entice more of them there. Turning the place into a kind of another Singapore, where skin colour was inconsequential, at least on paper. The ruling whites were too stupid and inflexible to be accommodating of that. Their political back eventually snapped and everything came apart.

Greer the druid guy wrote about the country breaking up into zones where you could decide how much tax you wanted to pay and get the appropriate infrastructure once. Move to a place with low taxes and get dirt roads. That sort of thing. It was instructive to third graders who are learning about what taxes are but in reality no system like that could ever work. You would have to build walls to enforce the system so practically nobody would be choosing anything no matter which side of the wall you were on. And the idea is far from unique and remains dumb. The movement to defund the police is obviously a planned meme, and ridiculous on its face. I hope the day does not come when the vapid, clueless libs get to find out what kind of police force we will have once the revolution comes.

  17. Brabantian June 5, 2020 at 10:41 am #

Well actually, regarding George Floyd and his death –

Floyd who died ‘infected by covid-19’, to tie things all together – does that let the cops off the hook?

Floyd whose autopsy report showed he had “”arteriosclerotic and hypertensive heart disease, fentanyl intoxication, and recent use of methamphetamine and cannabis” … meth and fentanyl being a life-endangering combination of illegal drugs without the heart condition

It should be noted that the knee on neck technique, as media photos show, is used by police in many nations, this photo showing the same in France, Portugal, and Israel

Lawyers say that police charged with murdering George Floyd, have strong legal grounds for being acquitted, if the courts are not politically bent, because:

Minneapolis Police written rules of conduct specifically authorise and approve knee-on-neck tactics to subdue persons resisting arrest, and speak of training to use such techniques.

“Minneapolis Police Department Use of Force Policy: 5-311 Use of Neck Restraints

Non-deadly force option. Defined as compressing one or both sides of a person’s neck with an arm or leg, without applying direct pressure to the trachea or airway (front of the neck).”

Minneapolis police have apparently taken their police policy manual offline, but an archive of the web page can be viewed: http://archive.is/Avjb5

George Floyd also co-starred in a p-rnography video online as ‘Big Floyd’ with Kimberly Brinks, easily found if you turn your ‘family filter’ off on your internet search engine … whilst working for the multi-cultural adult video empire of ‘Habib’

    • Karah June 5, 2020 at 10:46 am #

Was “Big Floyd” portrayed as a “gentle giant” lover in the porno?

    • GreenAlba June 5, 2020 at 11:00 am #

What’s p-rnography? Why would someone who can’t write ‘pornography’ be switching off their ‘f-mily f-lter’ to look for a porn film?

I have no love of pornography but (a) I can write the word and (b) I don’t see what it remotely has to do with George Floyd’s death. Are you suggesting he deserved to die more because he made a porn film? Seems to me a comment worthy of Murdoch’s thankfully-defunct News of the World, and obviously addressed to a purer-than-pure audience who’ve never watched porn films. Which would be everybody on this site. Obviously.

      • malthuss June 5, 2020 at 1:55 pm #

Green Alba, the boys look 30 years old, not 15.
And LOTF is about city boys in the wilds.
That story is about natives on an island. They knew how to hunt and fish.

        • GreenAlba June 5, 2020 at 4:06 pm #

That photo wasn’t taken at the time of their ‘adventure’. They were 13 – 16 years old when it happened. The captain who found them employed them later on his boat.

Doesn’t matter whether they were natives on an island or city boys who had to teach themselves how to hunt and fish. The lovers of LOTF claim it describes human nature, not urban nature.

    • BackRowHeckler June 5, 2020 at 11:04 am #

That’s why these cops will be acquitted, if charges aren’t dropped beforehand. I would say this will cause more looting, but at this point everything of value that can be looted, has been looted. I suppose they could start coming out into our towns and rural areas and loot us, but I don’t recommend it as it would not be a good career move on their part.

    • Janos Skorenzy June 5, 2020 at 12:52 pm #

Yes I cared at first. But once they started talking about getting rid of the Cops, I lost all interest. It’s not about Floyd and for us, it’s not about Chauvin. It’s all about much bigger things. If the White guy next to me at the barricade thinks Chauvin is a great guy, that’s his business. Ditto if he thinks America is the greatest in every possible way. He’s actually right compared to what these monsters want to impose on us.

We’re at the survival level now.

  18. BackRowHeckler June 5, 2020 at 10:48 am #

The business districts of our largest cities have been gutted, how can they possibly come back? Who would open a store or shop in Chicago or in NYC, or invest any money there? An example: 24 pharmacies in Minneapolis looted and burned to the ground. All the postal facilities in Minneapolis destroyed as well, but I suppose those will be rebuilt.

These eulogies across the country for George Floyd — St. George, not one mentions his 5 stints in Texas State Prison, the fentanyl, heroin, THC and meth found in his system, or the fact in Houston he was a home invasion artist and at one point forced forced his way into a pregnant black women’s apt and pointed a gun at her belly, threatening to blow away her baby if she didn’t reveal where the swag was. That’s how St George rolled.

What, didn’t hear about it on CNN?

    • SW June 5, 2020 at 1:22 pm #

The fact that his criminal record isn’t even mentioned says a lot about where we are as a country. Somehow, b/c his ancestors were former slaves then he is not to be held accountable for his actions. What BLM and such people at Al Sharpton don’t realize is this is the worst thing you can do to a man — infantilize him. Five year olds don’t know the difference between right and wrong but adults do. It’s a subtle way of implying George Floyd is a child and not responsible for his actions whether it was armed robbery, drug taking or passing off counterfeit money.

    • malthuss June 5, 2020 at 1:57 pm #

Pharmacies have drugs. those drugs can be used to make street drugs, a local told me..and thats why Walgreens [a block or 2 from me] was gutted..not just looted..now, 5 days later, its almost ready to reopen. But for how long?

      • SW June 5, 2020 at 2:28 pm #

For how long? Until the looters are re-energized then they’ll be back if they know they won’t be stopped. A pharmacy in the Bronx:

“The thieves can be seen stuffing bags and baskets full of store items and smashing the cash register. According to WABC, “the looters struck gold when they got into the narcotics cabinet, which they wiped clean.”

“Many of the shelves were filled with prescription medications for heart patients, cancer patients and people who desperately need their medicine,” the outlet noted, citing an employee who indicated that people have been calling about their medications. However, because of the looting, “they can’t serve them.”

This was family owned business and the owner recognized some of the people robbing him but couldn’t stop them.

What I find discouraging about this whole ordeal is the justification of criminality by so many people. “Rioting is the voice of the voiceless” said MLK but he seems to have forgotten Gandhi brought down the British Empire with nonviolence.

        • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 12:40 pm #

MLK was a Communist and wasn’t against violence as a principle. His non-violence was strictly tactical.

Cmon James, really? I’ve been reading your blog for years. I always look forward to your point of view because you always have a perspective that I naturally do not. And I dont always agree with you but I always respect what you have to say. But really?? So the George Floyd debacle is yet ANOTHER Democrat ruse to oust Trump? Wow. Youre either just phoning it in at this point or…a Democratic pawn out there to create plausible deniability. See what I did there? Yeah, ridiculous. Just like your post today.

    • sophia June 5, 2020 at 11:55 am #

On the contrary, so much about the Floyd reaction is very obviusly a democratic ruse. Governors and mayors and the media who refuse to condemn violence? Violence carried out by white antifa? Ads to hire rioters? Most rioters not even local? Deliveries of bricks? Black people crying over the damage to their businesses. Black people trying to defuse the violence?

And yes, the ruses to oust Trump have been ongoing for 4 years now. Why the surprise? It’s ramping up. Are you a paid troll?

But you’re right – the democrats are just the useful idiots and are not the only ones.

      • ewoh24 June 5, 2020 at 12:32 pm #

You know, I was with you until the “paid troll” comment. You couldnt even TRY something better and less obvious? Disagreement=paid troll. Ill show myself out. Sorry to crash your party.

I sincerely apologize if I was wrong. It’s silly to be offended when on the internet we cannot really know who we are talking to.

I see these people coming here and saying how disappointed they are in this or that post and I am losing patience with people who don’t want to see the obvious.

We now have Mayor Bowser in DC painting the street and renaming a plaza for BLM, while simultaneously demanding the military leave the White House unguarded.

She is openly encouraging an attempt on the President’s life.

    • DrGonzo June 5, 2020 at 7:31 pm #

If you’ve been reading James for a long time, his weird rant of today shouldn’t come as a surprise. James has been happily whitesplaining to Black people for years now why they’re just totally over-reacting to everything, getting far too uppity, and should just shut up, dress and talk like Jim tells them to (no baggy pants slipping off your waist! But if you want to wear ridiculous looking tight shorts like Jim in his blog photo, that is acceptable), and in 20 or 30 years if they do it right all will be well.

The tone-deafness of his blog today is demoralizing. None of us are happy with the looting and the rioting (does Jim think more than a few are?), and the looters are a miniscule percentage of the hundreds of thousands of peaceful protestors (of all colors; in my community almost as many whites as blacks) who have turned out night after night in scores of communities coast to coast.

Meanwhile, the looters on Wall Street operate in broad daylight, destroying small businesses and communities and social safety nets in slow motion, with the full power of the legislative branches of government amassed behind them smoothing their way as their hedge funds amass billions. But that’s ok! Because they are doing it “legally”!

But, yeah: let’s focus all our wrath on those losers who grow up in the kmpoverished communities those Wall Street bros created. That’ll teach ‘em!

Among the “crimes” African-Americans routinely are accused of, and need to carefully alter behavior to avoid being threatened by, have included: jogging while black, bird-watching while black, walking through white neighborhoods while black, hiking while black, being pulled obpver for a traffic violation while black. Don’t take my word, just ask your closest black friend.

Seriously, how often has JHK needed to think twice about doing any of these things? Never. Because he’s never been in those shoes. Let’s face it: He just. Doesn’t. Get it.

What does wall street have to do with you not wearing a mask. You are worse than a looter. Looters only steal. Your kind is out killing people.

Hundreds of thousands of peaceful protestors (of all colors).

Genocidal psychopaths, every one of you. If black lives matter why are you assembling in crowds to kill them?

        • DrGonzo June 5, 2020 at 10:43 pm #

Same reason Michigan yahoos carrying military assault weapons storm their state capitol building without masks, I guess. Genocidal psychopaths?

Except … most of the protestors I’ve seen ARE wearing masks.

I agree though, it’s a real concern about protests spreading the COVID.

      • Opie June 6, 2020 at 6:57 am #

I am so tired of this. Look, stats don’t lie. If there was 4% of the population that were bozo clowns, and 65% of violent crimes were committed by 3% of those clowns, wouldn’t you expect police and streetwise people would have their guard up when there were clowns in the neighborhood? And then, to top it off,the 96% spends gazillions of $ to bring those clowns into the fold, only to be told over and over that it’s raaaayssissssm to blame. One place I never entend to be is grovoling on my knees.

        • DrGonzo June 6, 2020 at 10:36 am #

You seem to be making the argument that, yes, a person SHOULD automatically be treated as suspect for jogging, bird-watching, hiking, buying cigarettes, playing basketball, or driving … if they are black and not in the “right” place when they do it.

So I think you just made my point — this IS a structural thing in this country. Imagine spending your entire life having to think twice about doing any of the things that White people like you and me do every day, all the time, without a second thought. Imagine having to be on your guard lest your very presence trigger a violent reaction from a white neighbor, white dog-walker, or white police officer.

Living with that kind of tension and uncertainty and self-checking day in and day out from the moment you’re old enough to read is impossible for me to imagine. I’m thankful that I don’t have to, but that doesn’t make me feel comfortable about those who do.

I’m not sure why you’re concerned about having to “grovel on your knees”. I’ve never been asked or expected to do anything of the kind. Some have suggested I try to put myself in their shoes, if only for a few minutes, to try to understand the origin of their frustration and anger.

None of us are saints. And there are many odious people in this country, black and white and brown. I happen to find Al Sharpton to be a bombastic, self-aggrandizing clown. Much like our president. Best to ignore those people and focus on the regular, hard-working majority of people who are just trying to raise families and make ends meet. People like you and me … with or without the same melatonin in their skin.

          • Opie June 6, 2020 at 1:43 pm #

Here’s the thing. Life’s not fair. Yes,there are many good black people out there. Some are close friends,as in I actually interact with. I also have blacks in the family. Hell,I’m only 76% white myself. But if I’m walking down a dark street and an unknown black man(men) is coming my way I go elsewhere. Is it racist or street smart? If it was a small percentage of whites causing this mayhem, you can bet your bottom dollar I and countless others would be putting a boot up their asses to change their ways, especially if it was causing the rest of society to view me the same. Instead, it’s rayyysist, and goddamn it I’m tired of hearing it,especially from other whites who excuse this behaviour at their and their families peril. Example,a very liberal friend of mine posted on his facebook page that all lives matter ,not just black. You’d a thunk he quoted Hitler. After two days of groveling he begged forgiveness. That’s what I mean. Same with cops who take a knee. Unless they’re actual racists,as in we’re superior, they have nothing to apologise for, period. Before now,I tolerated this nonsense, but now that recent events are forcing us to choose, take a guess which side I’ll be on.

          • Daddyotis June 6, 2020 at 3:08 pm #

There are many many people who have the exact same analysis as you do (and yes, it is time to pick a side).

          • DrGonzo June 6, 2020 at 5:57 pm #

Just remember that nothing one does as a black man in America, I mean nothing — earn a Ph.D., serve overseas in US wars, become a police officer, live a scrupulously law-abiding life, build a multi-billion dollar business from scratch, become a medical doctor — inoculates you from being treated with doubt and suspicion. You simply cannot escape that situation.

I can imagine how that gradually saps the spirit of African-Americans and is the source of so much black frustration / anger. I’d get angry, too.

It’s an issue. But I hear you when you say you cross a dark street at night when you see a lone black man coming the other way. I too am certainly on my guard, and will maybe do the same. Even Barack Obama said the same thing about himself.

But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t see that situation as tragic, and something we should work to overcome, even if we have to do so in small steps and with some mistakes along the way. But we’re just not where we need to be, yet. A good place to start is to listen a little more empathetically.

          • Mountain gal June 7, 2020 at 6:24 am #

I grew up in NYC and it was a tough time there then. As a white person I sure had to be careful where I was walking, what trains or buses I took etc. Got beat up for no “crime” other than being a white girl(didn’t even know the black girl who decided to beat me up). My HS was terrorized by black kids; stabbings, riots etc. Riding the public buses with them was a total hoot; they would take over the back of the bus and sometimes lob cherry bomb firecrackers into the front! So as a white person I definitley had to think about doing what these black kids did all the time! If blacks weren’t responsible for such a high percentage of crime then whites wouldn’t be on their guard when they see them. And sorry, but I’m positive that many blacks themselves are leery when they see groups of black teens, young men etc; they have no desire to be robbed or worse themselves!

This whole thing is just crazy. While I oppose police brutality and don’t believe any cop has the right to appoint themselves judge, jury and executioner, this has gone way beyond that. Looking at the videos of many of the “riots”, it was notable that many of those participating were quite white in appearance. They pretty much all appeared to be young. Guess the looting was equal opportunity thugdom.

I fail to see how destroying the businesses of innocent people, whatever their color or their homes or cars, pretty much plunging them into poverty, is striking a blow at “the system” or “the man”. It’s nonsensical. It’s also clearly engineered by those who understand just how and where to light the spark and let the people take it from there.

And the cries to “atone” for the death of Mr Floyd by nominating a black woman as veep is going to do what? What did 2 terms of Obama do for the general black population? They still insist they are oppressed and us whites are privileged and the reason they will never get ahead.

    • Nightowl June 5, 2020 at 11:26 am #

Nearly everyone opposes police brutality. This is not about police brutality, it is an organized attempt to slide the country into an ungovernable state for political purposes.

Gandhi was a racist. The Left is often right about these things. But of course they are all wrong about everything since they don’t believe in differences but only “equality” – whatever that means.

The Far Right and Left often see the same Facts but interpret them in diametrically opposite ways according to their Vision. Our Vision is the correct one. Proof? We create Civilizations, they can only tear them down.

Everyone in the middle is a confused clown.

        • Janos Skorenzy June 5, 2020 at 2:23 pm #

No, no, no, no. He was off the left/right line completely. He was on the Nationalist line. That’s above Capitalism/Communism which are both based on economics.

So on his line: Modi is just further to the “right”, perhaps. Or to the left, even. In reality, National Socialism is another line again.

If we want the left/right thing to make any sense: Right means individualism. Left means collectivism. Every viable society needs some of both and every healthy “line” will have a balance.

Thus both the “left” and the “right” in Israel are 100% for the Jewish people and their nation, Israel. Communists who aren’t are considered scum.

Their isn’t any possible atonement for white privilege and white supremacy in their mind. At least the people who espouse this ideology. And those two things require an individual to simply be white. You can live in a dilapidated shack without electricity and if you are white you have lived your entire life in undeserved privilege. Got it? So yes, I believe your conclusion is correct. This will never stop in the current system.

    • sophia June 5, 2020 at 11:57 am #

That is because, Mountain gal, revolutionaries are not moral beings. They are violent and destructive, not caring whatsoever about logic or facts or decency. Don’t engage. They just need to be stopped. Period.

The revolutionaries who start a revolution may not be the same ones who finish it. In 2020 America if there is a revolution that result is a guarantee. If there is a revolution now then.

I bet she takes her smart phone with her wherever she goes, including to the riot. No commercial air travel overhead, but I bet there are drones above these rioting cities that is pulling all kinds of data off of those phones, gps, text, phone call history. They probably even know where you went after the riot, and who you were with later, just from the data they pulled off their phones. They now have everything, your address, facebook profile. They won’t act on it now, but some of these people, maybe months or years from now will get picked up and there will be no denying you looted or burned up a store, shot a cop or civillian, because the gps data will give them proximity and time, some camera on some light post will synch with the data they gathered.

      • Mountain gal June 5, 2020 at 1:07 pm #

I actually agree with you Janos. That they do. There is nothing short of eliminating ourselves completely from the universe that would make most black people not hate us or feel resentful. Nothing we can do. It’s always wrong and never enough. So I’ve pretty much given up caring about what they think about me. I abhor police brutality no matter who is being brutalized and I’m not ok with innocent people being killed no matter their color. But I no longer care about what blacks have to say anymore and what their latest demands of white people are.

Rare agreement, yes. I still believe Chauvin should have taken his knee off his neck, both ethically and in terms of my own self interests. If they can do it to them they can do it to us. But if I’m next to a BRH on the barricade, we are brothers in arms and I don’t care if he loves Chauvin. Survival is the first morality as Thomas Jefferson said.

      • sophia June 5, 2020 at 2:53 pm #

Janos, Janos – blacks don’t hate us that much. This destruction of our culture and of white people – you think it comes from blacks? This is far deeper than that. It comes from privileged white people who play games with the world.

Blacks didn’t organize the assassination of JFK, nor of MLK.

Those are the people you need to finger.

        • Janos Skorenzy June 5, 2020 at 3:15 pm #

Yes, they do. The Elite use that hatred and direct it. Sure they even stoke it. But the natural resentment, the envy, the seeds of hatred? They didn’t create these. They are just naturally there.

The Elite also use the electricity against us via the media. They didn’t create this natural force either – but they use it.

          • sophia June 5, 2020 at 6:08 pm #

No. None of this would be happening without nasty, destructive ideologies that are white, not black. Use them? Sure! Nefarious and dishonest forces always use people in whatever way they can. They use race, they use religion, they use poverty and wealth. They use facebook. They use bribes, they use flattery.

The resentment of blacks is a thing to be sure, but race relations were slowly simmering down. Whites have less resentment than blacks, but that might be rightly so. Time is the healer.
Meanwhile, blacks have lost 50 years due to the destruction of their families. You cannot begin to even know how blacks as a permanent part of American society will work out when their family structure is so sick that 75% of them don’t have fathers. Socialization is what makes the difference between a vicious dog and a good one.

Do they have moral agency in your book or not? If they are human, they must take moral blame for their actions. If they do not have moral agency in your book, then I also win since that means they don’t belong here as free men since they aren’t men – men having moral agency by definition.

I’ve defeated you in two moves.

I suppose that moral agency might be a philosophical term with a definition? So far as I know, yes they have moral agency. There may be some individuals who do not have it, in which case there will be at least some whites who do not have it, but I am not entirely sure I understand your question.

Of course they are accountable for their actions.
Criminally minded people behave as if they do not have moral agency, but most probably do. And plenty of whites are criminally minded.

Blacks are just tools that the forces who wish to destroy this country are using. They know how much they hate whites and how easy it is to get them all fired up and start looting and burning and so they are using this for their own means. It has long ceased being about police brutality.

“I am […] unkindly disposed toward the crackpots, incendiaries and flat-out racists who have chosen this tragedy upon which to take an obscene and ludicrous stand. I have four words for them and any other white Americans who feel themselves similarly victimized. Cry me a river.” Leonard Pitts Jr.

Well guess what Leonard Pitts – I no longer wish to waste my time and energy worrying about the poor, abused blacks either, so cry me a river.

Yes. Why should we waste an iota of sympathy on people who have none for us?

Separation is the only answer. Let them police themselves. Oh, that will be a show if you know anything about African ideas of justice.

  23. Soloview June 5, 2020 at 11:35 am #

You are right, Jim, obviously these days calling a whole race ‘racist’ is a way for some animals to get more equal than others. The current American social chaos operates with idiotic semantics which make an orderly respectful political plurality impossible. Gone! Did you notice I used an adverb derived from the word “order” which immediately classes me as a white supremacist, like Candace Owens and David Duke. How can you discuss anything with someone like Ben Crump, the civil rights lawyer representing George Floyd’s family, who believes there is a “genocide” against blacks in America. Genocide! (We, in Canada know this spiel for “mo’money” when this label was applied to all whites for their treatment of Murdered & Missing Indigenous Women Inquiry in 2017. Trudeau agreed,) Problem is that the shooting won´t start until it really gets bad, like an explosion of thousand clones of the Korea-town during the Rodney King LA riots in 1992. And that won’t be for a while. Trump has dealt a fatal blow to his chance for a second term. His bluff to call the army was a stupid idea because everyone knows (the anarchists and antifas above all) that the US army would not shoot unarmed protesters in the street. It does not “love the people” the same way as the Chinese People’s Army in Tiananmen Square. Expect People’s Congress, People’s Senate, and drool on the desk in the Oval Office next January. And more right-wing militias all over the place. Rosa Parks might replace George Washington on one dollar bill.

Where is your knowledge of history? Of course they will shoot unarmed protesters (They will be called, however, anarchists, violent mobs, comsymps, and a threat to the stability of civil order).

AND, Trump wasn’t bluffing…regular Army units were stationed around DC.

Sure, throw them in jail. But if you are called to quell an active riot, and you can’t stop them without shooting, then shoot. They are hurting people and even murdering some. If you issue a warning to disperse, they might do it, but they need to be arrested.

“No, this is a hustle, all right, perhaps the most obvious hustle in US history. It’s the Democratic Party’s last stratagem to get the monster of its own creation…”

It certainly is, particularly after mistiming, misassigning blame, and miscalculating the severity of the plandemic overreaction.

We have a nominally progressive party in the US who has not only embraced, but colluded with, the CIA, the FBI, and now, the military in the form of retired generals.

Generals from a military apparatus that has not been on the victorious side of a war since the 1940’s. An imperious military that bombs the poorest and weakest into rubble decade after decade. Where the generals and admirals of said public-to-private mass expenditure campaigns retire to 7 figure sinecures in the smoky wood-paneled board rooms of the MIC.

The career bureaucrats in the CIA, Dept. of State, FBI, and even congress with its MSM couldn’t dethrone him, the virus didn’t do it, and the hijacking of a police brutality movement has only served to highlight, to the rational people somewhere still amongst us, the chaos and nihilism of a radical left.

Call in the military indeed. The retired sort very dependent on the status-quo built on never-ending war and bullying hegemony. The siphoning of trillions upon trillions of public funds into private pockets is not easily quashed. What better way to serve both the failed coup and bolster the eyes of the military, the next logical target, in the eyes of the now rampaging left?

Years from now, if there is even a future, a human future, and intelligent human life, they will learn of the most absurd irony in American history where a rather hysterical reaction to remove an elected leader who many believed would destroy the county, did far, far, greater and irrevocable damage.

    Removing the final pillars.

3 weeks ago people were standing on balconies applauding the first responders: policemen, paramedics, nurses…

Now within one week, policemen are evil, racist creatures who must be punished and vilified. Let’s run them over!

This is straight 1984. The scene where the party hack screams about the war against “East Asia”, and in mid-sentence, changes the enemy’s name to “Eurasia” – in mid-sentence. And the crowd buys it, they accept it, and start going berserk.

It’s also what the CIA calls “f–king with your mind”, creating cognitive dissonance that can’t be resolved, until you don’t know what’s true anymore. Bombarded by constant fake news, you can’t believe anything and end in a drunken stupor. At least you got that going for ya.

And because Floyd and Chauvin both knew each other from work, I still think this was a hit taken out on Floyd. There was some bad blood between those two, drugs or hookers were probably involved, and Chauvin just did him right there.

      • wet dog June 5, 2020 at 1:05 pm #

You have those 3 idiot cops standing around Chauvin and Floyd. They knew Floyd, too. One of those 3 guys is bound to break when confronted with life in prison as an accomplice.

If one of those guys starts squealing, there’s going to be dirty laundry exposed about the MN police dept. There is no way it’s a coincidence that Chauvin happened on Floyd that day. These guys knew each other! In a metro area of 500,000, something like this just doesn’t “happen by accident”.

One guy will break, his lawyer will tell him to tell everything to save his neck, and nasty stuff will surface. Maybe a drug deal gone bad between them all? They were working at a nightclub doing “security”. You meet all kind of players at places like this – lots of drugs and women being dealt (and worse).

That is interesting. You present a false dilemma. Minneapolis is only one city. The jackpot city.

Statistics result in each of us experiencing an one-in-a million type experience two or three times a month. Each person having enough ‘experiences’ in a month for that to happen. An experience being something you are aware of. One shiny object at a time.

On any given day there is enough police activity to produce a strange attractor from hell somewhere in the country. A statistical expression that evil can ride its ass in on. Minneapolis was the city but it could have been St. Louis, or Madison Wisconsin. Boise instead? Myriad possibilities but Minneapolis it was. That was were the number came up and now you forget how many other possibilities might have been.

How many people stopped in video police traps would agree that video cameras, even when they portray the seemingly obvious never tell a whole story. They always omit mitigating circumstances which a single perspective can’t possibly see. Yet people are a bitch to technology, slaves to it, and give it power technology does not have. It’s sad.

In this case one video chopped like a fresh carrot in a dinner salad emerges from tens of thousands of police videos taken that day. Of course it looks bad. It won the prize that day in the murderous asshole category. We have murderous assholes every day. 300 million+ people does that.

Step back and see the bigger picture. It is important to pay attention to chance and I obviously do. But you have to know how it works or it will only make a fool of you.

    • EnterpriseSpaceship June 5, 2020 at 7:23 pm #

The damage done is so colossal – one wishes what we’ve seen of Floyd killing was a hoax, the guy has never been really killed and soon there will be on the Internet plenty of clips showing him well and alive – just to comfort ourselves!

When the medium in the Western Civilisation becomes stronger than the – almost unreal – substance it propagates and exchanges, one asks – what’s that Energy so cheaply burned, enabling this intrinsic Engine to function so heavily-handed on humanity – and where it is coming from?

Wouldn’t be more fruitful if allocated to do real good things, like why humans resort to slaving themselves – regardless of being black, yellow, brown or white-skinned?

Hustling people for their attention is all I see while trying to piece together the story of the “gentle giant”. His ex wife is spewing tears and spit into a microphone with her 6? year old daughter standing there with little to no expression…serene…calm…barely able to clear the podium and be seen while her mother is allowed to become hysterical while explaining her daughters difficult situation with no father. Was the mother THAT upset when she decided to file for divorce…maybe catching the “gentle giant” in the arms of a white woman? Was the “gentle giant” allowed to bring his white girlfriend over during visitations? Did the man EVER visit his family while he was alive? Is the little girl really his? Will the little black girl really MISS here father? Why hasn’t her hysterical mother remarried or gotten another black man after so long? Is this becoming a black stereotype where women are fated to become welfare mothers? What non-black man would want to get with that woman after creating such a scene and raise her child in a style to which she may never become accustomed?

Coronavirus daily reports sow no major changes except maybe Texas and Arizona which have notched up a tad but are now again steady state. WTF?

We are now ten days into the protests, and a month into progressive reopening. No significant changes. The east coast peaked and is in decline, the west is mostly on slow increasing rates. Everywhere is trending asymptotically toward steady state values.

That is confusing to me. Everyday, in many states, the same amount of folks are being diagnosed with the virus. Day after day after day. Is this just the result of an ongoing test base increase? If so, does this just mean that pretty much everybody has gotten the crud and the rates are dependent of testing and not true incidence?

Could be that the protestors all have, or have had the crud and so no increased rate will occur?

I have heard very little about the antibody testing, but I am betting a high percentage of people have already had it. Maybe we are already nearing herd immunity?

Another question. How much of the over 60 mortality is weighted by the effects of close in nursing home living arrangements and the understaffing of nursing facilities?

    • GreenAlba June 5, 2020 at 12:31 pm #

I was surprised to read that, after all the talk about Sweden’s non-lockdown, a study found only 7.3% of the population sample (from Stockholm) had antibodies by the end of April. The Swedish authorities were equally surprised – and concerned, since it means the building of herd immunity would seem to be less certain, either because of the lower-than-expected numbers seeming to have had the virus, or because a lot of people may have had it but don’t have antibodies..

Make of it what you will.

      • K-Dog June 5, 2020 at 1:00 pm #

It is very dangerous to extrapolate from the Swedish experience.

Scandinavians socially distance naturally and with a little extra focus in that area it is obvious covid would have a hard time with even a slight awareness of the situation in Scandinavia. R0 varies by culture and changing R0 by changing behavior is what all abatement short of a vaccine is all about.

      • Janos Skorenzy June 5, 2020 at 1:29 pm #

Maybe not everybody get its to the extent of having to produce antibodies. Virtual immunity in other words. Another aspect to be studied.

It went around and now it disappears? Just like the flu. And that’s a good thing since we didn’t know it would before. But it will be back for the Election in both its real and hoax or mediated forms.

        • GreenAlba June 5, 2020 at 2:57 pm #

“It went around and now it disappears? ”

It hasn’t disappeared. In the UK we’re just trying to keep the infection rate below R1 to keep it under control. We’ll have to see what happens as the lockdown is relaxed.

          • Janos Skorenzy June 5, 2020 at 5:32 pm #

Duh. It will increase of course. So then they lock you down again, rinse and repeat until there’s no economy left. You’re a child.

          • GreenAlba June 5, 2020 at 6:16 pm #

Where did I say I wanted to see another lockdown?

You just said the disease had disappeared and in the next breath that it was inevitably going to increase.

If I’m a child, you’re an embryo, chum.

What gets me is your unwillingness to meet people halfway. I’m not asking anyone to stay in lockdown to make my life safer (although I’d appreciate another decade or two), nor did I ask anyone to do it in the first place. It was done here to help the health services cope. And even with those measures we currently have a whole lot of exhausted medical teams still on their feet, and possibly needing counselling in some cases.

But you aren’t even willing to say ‘OK, if we can come out of lockdown, I’ll accept social distancing and masks to help make it work. It has to be ‘my way or the highway’ with you – all or nothing. What happened to compromise, goodwill and just trying to be helpful?

          • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 12:49 pm #

You just said if it goes above “R1” that you do want another “lockdown” even the creator of this inane idea now repudiates it.

How did you get so confused? Do you ever ask yourself that?

          • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 1:25 pm #

You seem unable to read, Janos. Stop putting words in my mouth.

What I said – verbatim – was ‘in the UK we’re just trying to keep the infection rate below R1 to keep it under control. We’ll have to see what happens as the lockdown is relaxed.

We are indeed trying to keep the infection below R1. Or rather the authorities are, on behalf of the medical services and others, and I’m doing my bit. Nowhere there did I say I wanted another lockdown. We will indeed see what happens. Maybe it will go a little above R1, but it’s less likely to if people comply with distancing and wear masks (which you object to, so you’d be more likely to help cause another lockdown if you were here, while I’m trying to avoid one).

Rising a little above R1 won’t necessarily lead to another lockdown. And maybe it will be decided that another lockdown can’t be afforded anyway whatever happens, in which case we’ll just have to sacrifice our frontline staff, still with inadequate PPE supplies, since other parts of the world are now also vying for them.

Whatever, nowhere at all did I ever say I wanted another lockdown. I sincerely hope it can be avoided – and the best way to achieve that is to comply with all other measures short of lockdown, not by behaving like an anti-social, obstructive pillock, which seems to be your preference.

How did you get so confused? Do you ever ask yourself that?

          • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 1:28 pm #

And I repeat, you said the disease had disappeared. So it won’t increase, will it, post-lockdown, if that’s the case? If it’s a hoax and a mountain made out of a molehill, it will all be fine. The lockdown will be lifted and nobody who counts will come to any harm. Or something.

How did you get so confused? Do you ever ask yourself that?

If the immune system cannot make antibodies in reaction, it will be a seasonal, hopefully, illness that will take out a few people every year. Like the flu, HIV etc. They are already saying that it will take two shots for a reaction for most people. What bothers me is that we are looking to these “scientists” for Answers and they are few.

It is SARS 2, if it does not disappear like SARS 1 did, we will be living with public separation permanently.

        • GreenAlba June 5, 2020 at 5:03 pm #

“What bothers me is that we are looking to these “scientists” for Answers and they are few.”

Science takes time to do properly – and carries on needing to be repeated and advanced. Not coming out with certainties that aren’t backed by enough knowledge yet should be a good thing, not something they should be criticised for. The whole world’s scientists are working on it – that means there’s a lot to learn and it’s not simple, not that the scientists are stupid.

It’s certainly not a good sign that antibodies seem not to be apparent in everyone who’s had it and/or that the antibodies may not last long. If we end up with some safe vaccines and they only last six months we’ll have to live with that and people will make whatever choices they want to make. Better than no vaccine at all. With what Americans spend on healthcare, a couple of extra ‘shots’ a year shouldn’t be the end of the world.

        • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 4:29 am #

Only if we give in to fear of death and thus of life. The possibility of disease is always present. How did you deal with it up to now? So what has changed? Besides the media cult of evil playing with your mind?

          • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 9:40 am #

We all do informal risk analyses, accurately or inaccurately. I got to the age of 65 without ever having a flu vaccination. Or social distancing, or wearing a mask – and for the majority of the time using busy public transport – and I only got flu once when I was 30. You wouldn’t get away with that with this disease, without any social distancing or masks.

And I never heard any year that 120 health staff, some of them only in their 30s and 40s, had been killed in a few months by contact with their flu patients (flu vaccinations are highly recommended for medics and nurses but not compulsory). And medics and nurses treating flu patients pretty much wore surgical masks and normal medical wear when treating flu patients, as far as I’m aware – they weren’t bedecked in layers of protective plastic as is necessary on the frontline now. Nor did medics and nurses, as some are doing now, spend months living away from their families to protect them from flu brought home from work.

The thing is more dangerous and more contagious, and there isn’t a vaccine. It’s not rocket science. Doesn’t mean people have to go around terrified but the risk has to be considered and measures taken as appropriate.

Maybe it will become tamer/less harmful – might as well hope for that as wait terrified for it to become as lethal as the ‘Spanish’ flu. While taking appropriate precautions, until there are some safe working vaccines. Which you don’t want either, of course. There’s no pleasing professional contrarians with agendas.

    • akmofo June 5, 2020 at 12:52 pm #

We all got the virus long ago. Way prior the so-called outbreak in China. The lack of measurable antibodies just means that the virus is no longer an issue in said person. The Wuhan nonsense was the Chinese gov mafia’s way of killing public dissent and mass protest to its industrial policies there. Keep the protesters at home, reassert gov mafia authority, and save face with the rest of the public in China.

The world outbreak is likely staged CIA theater. When it’s too stupid to be stupid, it’s not. The so-called outbreak was another attempted CIA coup against President Trump. The CIA saw the opportunity and run with it.

When that fizzled, they set up the knee-on-neck act. You can catch this nonsense documented on the internet acted out in several locations at the same time. Just happens that the video of the staged act in Minneapolis is the one that caught fire.

This ‘They’ you’re all so intensely concerned about, all the hand-wringing & fearful prognostications being sprayed about hereabouts – this fearsome cabal of I’m-not sure-who “Elites” /commie/Vatican/mafia….what are all you RWNJs so worked up about? By your own analysis, “They” are highly in competent…all these ‘ruses’ you ascribe to them are all failing, aren’t they?

    • Janos Skorenzy June 5, 2020 at 1:25 pm #

The Elite aren’t interested in this right now. Why carry water for them? It was a hoax. They’ll bring it back to close down America around election time with lots more rioting, etc. Trump better have a military plan in place.

The test isn’t all that accurate and the more people they test, the more they will find positives.

When you see the corporations supporting the “peaceful protests”, you realize the purpose of the rioting. It’s all about China.

Or do they want you to think it’s all about China? The 1 percent or whatever you want to call them are global. If China helps them to globalize then they probably are very much for China. And China has 1 percenters too. Ultimately it is a one world thing they are trying to achieve.

      by Chris Hedges

What is coming in the next few months will be very hard for this county. An elite class will try and maintain control by tyranny.

A related video is on my website. Under my voting tool. Jimmy Dore talks with Chris. The article I link is the theme.

      • K-Dog June 5, 2020 at 2:54 pm #

Their lives were, as Barbara Ehrenreich wrote, one long emergency before the pandemic.

      • Nightowl June 5, 2020 at 3:08 pm #

I still respect Hedges, but he is one of several mostly honest progs (I have all his books) that repeatedly and embarassingly turn to pretzel logic to avoid stating the obvious.

They simply can’t admit the truth. That being that the reason we are in the place we are, is that the corrupt machine we all despise so much has such a strong desire to destroy Trump that it is sliding the country into a crisis situation.

Admit it Chris. Trump is the closest thing to the “real deal” honest progs have. The inability to admit that most his policies are what many of us have wanted to see for decades is based entirely in social shame, and it is pathetic.

Whether it is Abby Martin, Jimmy Dore, or Matt Taibbi, they cannot bring themselves to be truly honest.

        • K-Dog June 5, 2020 at 3:20 pm #

Chris has seen the most horrible violence modernity can provide. He knows the pain of the underclass and he has his values in the right place.

No way in hell can I twist my pretzel into agreeing that Trump is the closest thing to the “real deal” honest progs have.

I do understand what I think you are trying to get at because Americans don’t generally have eagality as a religious conviction. Despite claiming to the contrary until they turn red and blue and then pass out.

Would they eat beans? Is a good question.

          • Nightowl June 5, 2020 at 4:06 pm #

            Well, then answer the question.

Why are they hell bent on stopping Trump? The resources mobilized against this president are like nothing seen in US history.

Also, what candidate is willing to stand up to this cabal? Every other candidate is either somehow involved in a coup on a sitting president, or they tacitly support it (e.g., Sanders).

They are scared to death of what this president wants to do, which is protect borders, bring jobs back to revitalize our manufacturing base, andreverse the disasterous effects of 30 some years of leveraging the US military and national treasure to advance an agenda that serves only transnational elites.

          • sophia June 5, 2020 at 6:29 pm #

K-dog, many have been brainwashed. Repetition is one of the tools of brainwashing. You have apparently been listening to it. I don’t know why. Is it your wife?

The situation is clear. It doesn’t matter if you like the guy. He is the first challenge to the deep state cabal since Kennedy. All others were either approved/vetted, or controllable. Reagan got a warning shot. Others like Ron Paul were successfully marginalized by the media to keep them out.

Trump was good friends with JFK, Jr. One of his missions in life was “Who killed my father?”

It was the deep state. The swamp. Did they go away? Did they leave the scene? No, they got much stronger.

I voted for Trump because the deep state showed they hated him. That was good enough for me.

          • Nightowl June 6, 2020 at 4:15 am #

Notice we still have no answer from the Dog.

Like I said, pretzel logic to avoid the obvious question.

It is all base in social shame.

            And it is pathetic.

    From the wiki for Scapegoat

In the Bible, a scapegoat is one of two kid goats. As a pair, one goat was sacrificed (not a scapegoat) and the living “scapegoat” was released into the wilderness, taking with it all sins and impurities. The concept first appears in Leviticus, in which a goat is designated to be cast into the desert to carry away the sins of the community.

Then Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over it all the iniquities of the people of Israel, and all their transgressions, all their sins, putting them on the head of the goat, and sending it away into the wilderness by means of someone designated for the task. The goat shall bear on itself all their iniquities to a barren region; and the goat shall be set free in the wilderness.

—?Leviticus 16:21-22, New Revised Standard Version
Practices with some similarities to the scapegoat ritual also appear in Ancient Greece and Ebla.

JS: I hope I’m the sin goat that gets to go into the wilderness and not the one who gets its throat cut. Maybe I’ll make that decison for them and leave early. A preemptive leave.

You just don’t get it Jim.

And yet you claim to have prescience about the collapse of society. Did you think it was going to be an event where everyone turns the lights out?

There is no future for millions. George Floyd is the spark. It came right after Ahmaud Arbery was hunted in broad daylight in Georgia and no one did anything until the foreign press shamed the locals. It came right after that Amy Cooper incident. And it’s all in the context of Ferguson just 5 years ago. There’s a litany of public exposed police abuse of the black community in this country. At this point, to not recognize it is to deliberately avoid the issue.

This is all happening against a pandemic where over 100,000 are dead in the US alone. With 40 million out of work. Trump and the GOP lack vision; all they want to to paint the rust.

But hey, play the Boomer card and be obtuse. It suits your generation. I mean look at the reliably racist commentators you allow in this forum to pollute your forum and your brand. I shouldn’t be surprised.

Of course the instigators are hiding behind the Blacks, but it is the Blacks too. It’s not either/or.

And Black individuals like Van Jones know it’s about far more than just the Blacks, but does that mean he doesn’t care about the Black part of it? Of course he does.

And it won’t work without nice old White Ladies like you going to bat for Blacks. Don’t fall for it. You have obviously lived a sheltered life with little contact with the “community”.

Please try and follow: I know the Blacks aren’t the opponent, but rather, the weapon. But if you don’t heed the weapon, your opponent will get you with it.

            Did you follow that?

          • sophia June 5, 2020 at 10:47 pm #

Janos in childhood in New Jersey there were black neighborhoods nearby and in 3rd grade I had a black boy terrorize me on the way to school, and then a group of black girls would corner me and try to get me to fight them. I used to get headaches from it. Lived in North Carolina for about 20 years which is 27% black and worked with many blacks. In junior high I went to an inner city school with just a few whites. Oh, and we were homeless for a while when I was 12. Where I live now there are very few blacks and the few we have are wonderful, but they are 7th Day Adventists and some are actually not American.

The insurrection needs to be stopped and just has little to do with blacks. Not sure why you don’t get that. I saw a list of the cities where the riots are happening. 21, of which 20 have a democratic mayor. They have preplanned this with these mayors so that if arrested, they are released. Someone paid for and delivered pallets of bricks. The media, the mayors, Nancy Pelosi and various other highly placed politicians are showing solidarity with antifa rioters. They are all part of “the resistance” which is to overthrow Trump. These are white people and they are traitors. What, white people are all saints? Who in hell were the Bolsheviks? Black? Oh, wait…okay what about the French Revolution?
There are certainly bad Republicans and I’m not a Republican, but the democrat party really sold out 30 years ago and they are the face of the deep state now, just as the mainstream media is an essential leg of the deep state.
Trump is the existential threat to the deep state and this has been an ongoing resistance and coup effort for 4 years now, with things coming somewhat to a head because any idiot can see he is poised to win bigger than the first time.

And lots of people have wrung their hands and said, why doesn’t the Democrat party learn from their mistakes and what they did wrong so they can try to win? They don’t get it. The Democrat party HAS no other purpose than corruption and covert control. They don’t HAVE anything else to offer.

And people have finally begun to notice.

          • Janos Skorenzy June 5, 2020 at 11:28 pm #

The Blacks are foot soldiers. Try to win a battle without foot soldiers or a game of chess without pawns. You should know Blacks well then I see – but you don’t it seems. Many Liberals deny their own experiences in this area of course.

“While 4 million sounds like a lot, those Americans receiving debit cards in the mail represent a small sliver of the total population receiving payments. The Treasury Department says it has already sent more than 140 million payments. The department also explained in a press release that people receiving prepaid debit cards would be those “without bank information on file with the IRS, and whose tax return was processed by either the Andover or Austin IRS Service Center.” It’s unclear what makes these centers exceptional, but if you’re from Massachusetts or Texas, pay extra-close attention to your mail.”

          • Karah June 6, 2020 at 5:10 pm #

“The Economic Impact Payment (EIP) card itself features a generic-looking image of blue fabric with white stars, like an American flag. As with pretty much any debit card, there are some fees associated with using the EIP card. The first out-of-network ATM withdrawal, for instance, is free, but each subsequent withdrawal comes with a $2 fee. If you do a balance inquiry at an ATM, that carries an additional 25 cent fee, either in or out of network. A replacement card if it’s lost or stolen costs $7.50. Priority shipping for the replacement card costs an additional $17.”

If you had thrown the card out, there goes your 2% back!

“Some people have tried to transfer all the stimulus money into their traditional bank accounts, only to run into problems with the online system. For some households, the card might have combined two names on it, but only the person with the first name can activate it, which is what happened to one couple who spoke with Yahoo News. Others have complained that their names have been misspelled, making them hesitant to share their Social Security number on the EIP card website. Others have complained that using the MetaBank system is cumbersome, or that they need to transfer the money off the card to their bank accounts in increments.”

I bet if the Klan threw a coupla rocks through your window one night, you’d stand there yelling “We’re on your side!” just the same.

The Constitution can now be used for toilet paper. That’s one.

The White House called the Pentagon and no one picked up. Trump is no longer the CINC. We can now no longer trust that the military would launch on command of the CINC because there ain’t one.

It appears that the US electorate have morphed from low information voters to no information voters. The fix is in. Even if Ginsburg drops dead, there’s no way for a Trump nominee to make it through confirmation. ANTIFA will be in DC constipating every movement of government. They have won.

Did anyone see the fight in the Senate against an Anti-lynching law. Only Rand Paul is holding the line not because he opposes a law but because the law can add a lot of penalties for scratching or bruising a black person. Paul will eventually lose and we’ll have another special privilege law on the books benefiting blacks.

There is no freedom of speech without consequences. Say the wrong phrases and out you go. Brees will eventually go. His balls were taken from him. No, scratch that, he gave up his balls. That is what whites are doing now. It will get worse.

I’ve watched Mr. K change over the years. It must be extra sad for him to observe his sense of fair play and reason go down the toilet where someone just used the Constitution to wipe.

A young white person has more power than an old black person; and ALL white people know it.

Im not gonna try to guess what young white people are gonna do?

But since they are young white people; they are gonna pretty much be able to do what ever it is they try to do?

So, not to change the subject; but if it was illegal to kill a featus; then by logical progression, it should be illegal to kill George Floyd too? by strangulation?

After all; words are the chosen form of communication?

and what is the alternative to TALKING?

The open letter of John Dowd to James Mattis

I slept on your statement and woke up appalled and upset. You lost me. Never dreamed you would let a bunch of hack politicians use your good name and reputation-earned with the blood and guts of young Marines

You did what you said you would – engage in this discourse.

    Marines keep their word.

The phony protesters near Lafayette park were not peaceful and are not real. They are terrorists using idle hate filled students to burn and destroy. They were abusing and disrespecting the police when the police were preparing the area for the 1900 curfew. Jim, this is the new nihilism. See Dan Henninger in WSJ today

Marines support the police in harm’s way.

Did you forget that President Bush used active duty Marines to quell the riots in LA? President Trump has countless cities and some snowflake governors and mayors wetting themselves in the use of force to protect innocent lives and property.

The AG of Massachusetts thinks burning property is good protest. Three more policemen were stabbed and shot in NYC last night

Think about it. Should he be upset about the obvious failure of leadership? Where are you Jim?

    Marines go to the fight.

No one divided this country more than Obama. He abandoned our black brothers and sisters. He gave guns to the cartels. He apologized for our precious sacrifice and generosity overseas.

    You remember, he fired you.

President Trump has done more to help our minority brothers and sisters in three years than anyone in the last fifty. Ask the black pastors. Ask the leaders of the black colleges and universities. He got them funded.

Ask them about the prison reform which ended the draconian sentences imposed on young black men by the laws enacted by Biden and his hacks

You need to bone up on your homework and stop listening to Uncle Leon.

I understand, you had to stick to the assigned narrative which did not include three years of corrupt investigations and evidence to destroy this President, his office, and his lawful free election. Nancy has no tolerance for dissent in the ranks- including those with stars.

You said nothing of the ugly, hate filled, disgraceful comments of Pelosi, Schumer, Perez and other Democrat hacks defaming the President and his office. You said nothing of the unlawful sanctuary cities and the unlawful release of hoodlums.

You said nothing of the resistance movement to paralyze our courts and our government operations. You said nothing of the obstruction and subversion of our immigration laws. You said nothing of MS-13 killers and the drug cartels who own huge sections of our major cities. Jim, do you think that hateful rhetoric and those corrupt actions were inspiring and unifying? Do you think the Di’s at Parris Island would find such behavior as unifying?

Maybe, your problem, is a lot deeper. Perhaps you ought to explain how and why you (and John Allen), as CG Central Command, did not engage and take out Iranian Major General Soleimani who roamed the Middle East and wreaked havoc and death of our American boys with his infamous IEDs?

Why did it take President Trump to have the instincts and balls to take him out ( of course over the objection the geniuses in the Pentagon)?

Looks like the Persian mullahs were a one horse sleigh and Trump nailed the horse….forever. It has been quiet ever since. Perhaps, your anger is borne of embarrassment for your own failure as the leader of Central Command. Did you applaud when the President recognized the central problem in the middle east? Did you applaud the President when he wanted to save American lives by bringing them home in one piece?

The whole unit has resigned after two officers were disciplined. Very unfortunate. Can the police do their jobs if they are under a microscope like this? On the other hand, he seems to have been just returning a riot helmet to them that he found on the ground. They didn’t have to push the old guy who lost his balance and fell. They probably didn’t mean to hurt him but they certainly weren’t being considerate either. They are obviously very stressed out and treating everyone like a nail to be hammered.

The below article describes the old man as a social justice warrior of long standing. When clearing an area, everything in front of you gets moved…by force if necessary. There is no stopping for dialog, moralizing or discussing the dialectic. He was approaching the advancing line. No sympathy.

          • BackRowHeckler June 6, 2020 at 12:26 am #

What? You mean you don’t engage in friendly chitchat, and enquire about the age of the individual approaching your lines?

          • elysianfield June 6, 2020 at 11:25 am #

“What? You mean you don’t engage in friendly chitchat, and enquire about the age of the individual approaching your lines?”

Nooo. Dialog is a tactic used by those that would attempt to thwart/defuse whatever procedure is at hand.

Consider waking up at O Dark Thirty and finding a strange man entering your home. You don’t engage them in dialog, you don’t ask of their intentions, even if they attempt to explain them…you just attack/defend.

          • elysianfield June 7, 2020 at 7:17 pm #

            “you just attack/defend.”

And further, it would be with a Model 28 in hand, the personal choice of every right-thinking man….

He’s part of some organization that advocates for world peace and free housing for illegal immigrants, you are right a wilted 60s refugee, the type that shows up at city council meetings making a lot of noise and a pain in the ass out of himself.

Dumb as a mud fence apparently didn’t learn sh#t in his 75 years on earth.

I’m really intrigued by the ‘Defund Police’ initiative. Just imagine cities already violent unlivable sh#tholes, suddenly without LE. Think what it would be like inside of them … at night, a Batman-Gotham scenario with streets run by criminal gangs, an all against all Hobbsean dystopia, with members of the ‘Rapid Response Social Worker’ teams, charged with keeping order and ‘diffusing situations’ hanging off telephone poles, swing in the wind, strange fruit with signboards draped over their lifeless bodies that read “I Stuck My Nose in Where it don’t Belong”. How funny will that be?

          • sophia June 6, 2020 at 10:45 am #

This is why the meme to defund the police is an obvious ploy by the insurgency to weaken our defenses. What happens in a revolution? A lot of violence is used. What is the first line of defense against such violence? The police.

They want the people to be undefended.

Keep your eyes on the ball.

It’s not about thinking cities can function without police. It’s about who gets to BE the police.

        “Doesn’t look good.”

Indeed, that might have been the point of the exercise. Show cops beating women, children, old men and dogs…gain public sympathy and enmity towards their institutions. Standard guerilla technique.

  45. Zoltar June 5, 2020 at 7:43 pm #

I have never seen Jim remain so resolutely beside the point as on this issue. This isn’t about whether George was a model citizen or not, much less a hypothetical world in which people do not misbehave. It is about a pervasive law enforcement culture in this country to which the wrong sort of person is attracted for the worst of reasons, and which has failed to sustain a culture in which it is understood that their brutal sadistic behavior is unacceptable. The fact that this particular vicious bastard was observed this particular time and, having repeatedly murdered citizens in the past, is finally being prosecuted is only because of the extraordinary amount of attention this case has received. The demonstrations aren’t really about George Floyd; they’re about the thousands of bad cops out there who believe, based upon past experience, that they will continue to be allowed to get away with this shit.

The United States is well on its way to martial law and a permanent police state, and the many Derek Chauvins among our police are just itching to wage war against us and do as much damage as possible. Jim may be on their side. I am not.

    • Karah June 5, 2020 at 8:53 pm #

And what a name to represent police brutality: Chauvin…like chauvinist!

It’s a brutal day in the neighborhood a brutal-ful day for a neighbor, would you be my protector, could you be my protector?

I have always wanted to have a policeman just like you,
I have always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So, let’s make the most of this bruta-lful day,
Since we’re together, we might as well stay.

Could you be mine, would you be mine?
      Won’t you be my protector?

      • capt spaulding June 5, 2020 at 9:21 pm #

I made a joke last week about Chauvin, and chauvinist, but it didn’t go over too well. Poorly written, I guess.

        • elysianfield June 5, 2020 at 11:37 pm #

          No, it was clever….

        • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 10:41 am #

It was a good joke, since ‘chauvin‘ literally means ‘chauvinist’ in French.

For those who like such things, the French surname Chauvin is merely a diminutive of ‘chauve‘, meaning ‘bald’.

But chauvinism got its name from a possibly apocryphal and excessively patriotic French soldier, name of Nicolas Chauvin.

I wonder if Officer Chauvin knows his name means baldy guy? People usually look into such things, so he probably does.

          Maybe that’s why he’s so aggressive? 🙂

          • elysianfield June 6, 2020 at 11:15 am #

            “Maybe that’s why he’s so aggressive? ?”

Consider that a person who is unreasonably aggressive will not enjoy a long tenure as a cop. Events tend to catch up with those that are “too” anything.

          • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 1:42 pm #

I was kidding, EF. I even added a smiley to avoid ambiguity. Although it’s a serious matter to be kidding about, I grant you.

But doesn’t he have a bunch of other misdemeanours blotting his copybook, erring on the ‘aggressive’ side?

    • sophia June 5, 2020 at 10:58 pm #

But I do not believe that the bad cops are that numerous. If there were many counts of unprovoked police brutality, they wouldn’t have to always use predatory criminals like George Floyd to pour the public sympathy upon.

That the police are horrible is just another meme by the deep state because confiscating our arms and 2nd amendment didn’t work, so they want to weaken us by getting rid of the police.

Thank you for being gullible and falling for that ruse, so that we can have, not martial law but a totalitarian police state.

And when we get that police state, you and your ilk will really long for relatively nice police that we have now.

    • K-Dog June 5, 2020 at 11:01 pm #

All the officers have been charged with a crime and nobody is going to get by with anything.

  46. Kakadu Man June 5, 2020 at 8:18 pm #

    From the essay:

Has anyone detected a hustle in the past week’s dire proceedings? Well, how would you define a hustle? How about:an attempt to gain advantage by deceitful means. What! Are you saying there was something dishonest about the reaction from sea to shining sea to George Floyd’s murder in Minneapolis? I am.

What is meant by “dishonest”? That somehow tens of thousands of people (many black, but many not) go out on the street for multiple days or nights, in order to express anger, outrage, and a demand for change?

It seems to me it’s actually the opposite of “dishonest” … it looks like a genuine protest movement by an awful lot of motivated people who don’t need much organisation or pushing … they’re up for it!

And it’s not just about the murder of George Floyd, or whether his killers face any real punishment – it is “about” generations of discrimination and inequality, and a feeling that the cards are really stacked against minorities, and that the cops are the guard-dogs of white privilege … it’s pretty obvious to me that it’s something very “honest” to get out on the streets for.

There is no evidence that it’s a Democrat election ploy, any more than there is any evidence that the pandemic is a Democrat election ploy. These two crises are for Trump to mismanage alone.

And there is a big difference between peaceful protest and violent confrontation (which very often looks caused by trigger-happy cops trying to crack heads). And there is a gulf of difference between peaceful protest, and the after-dark looting and burning by a distinct and uncontrolled minority.

Anyway – it’s not the end of the world, despite some of the more hysterical predictions from some on the forum. If the powers that be simply resist change, and don’t whack too many people, then ultimately protest movements either run out of steam, or lose the support of a majority, or both.

    • BackRowHeckler June 5, 2020 at 8:30 pm #

Demand change? Change to what? It’s not clear what the demands are. And why hasn’t a leader emerged with a clear set of goals beyond ‘burn it all down”.

At any rate without a recognizable leader this movement will remain nebulous and will burn itself out pretty soon.

Unless it’s just more anti Trump bullsh#t.

      • Kakadu Man June 5, 2020 at 8:52 pm #

At any rate without a recognizable leader this movement will remain nebulous and will burn itself out pretty soon.

The vast majority are not looting and burning. I don’t know whether a “leader” will emerge, but even if so, the likelihood is that the movement will burn itself out fairly soon.

The vast majority want a change in cop culture … surely everyone understands that. And protests do lead to changes for the better.

        • BackRowHeckler June 5, 2020 at 9:26 pm #

“And there is a big difference between peaceful protest and violent confrontation (which very often looks caused by trigger-happy cops trying to crack heads).”

Perspective, please. The “trigger-happy” cops are directed by “competent authority”. When the order is given to clear a street, they clear the street. Cops do not make these decisions…politicians do.

Cops are but an instrument of policy. In some situations, the methods required(in response to then current circumstances) may be severely limited by manpower or other considerations.

      Sausage being made.

      • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 1:01 pm #

In other words, cops aren’t moral agents. Just following orders. Just following orders. Just following orders…..

A necessary evil I admit. Victims of America as well. They used to help kids learn to ride bicycles.

And if those who order are evil, the cops will act in evil ways.

But defund them? That’s terrifying considering who will replace them.

        • elysianfield June 7, 2020 at 7:14 pm #

“In other words, cops aren’t moral agents.”

Ideally, that is the case. Reality, however, insists that when the police become moral agents they are guilty of overreach…people dislike the concept of the lowly police being in a position to punish. The moral aspect is supposed to be the prevue of civil authority, you know, lawyers with political clout…judges.

As you are well aware, being a moral agent is difficult.

Many times in Oakland, I wanted to be a moral agent.

  47. BackRowHeckler June 5, 2020 at 8:24 pm #

Turns out St George had a more than a lethal dose of fentanyl in his system when he died.

What will Chauvin’s defense attorney do with that?

One theory is that AG Kieth Ellison, Black Muslim and Antifa sympathizer, has overcharged Chauvin and the other 3 defendants, knowing they will be acquitted, which will give black and Antifa mobs more opportunity to loot and riot. Sounds like a reasonable strategy. Why not? Only thing is, what’s left to loot? The sneaker stores — Foot Locker, Nike and Adidas, have been stripped clean and burned out to cinders.

  48. KesaAnna June 5, 2020 at 9:38 pm #

” It is about a pervasive law enforcement culture in this country to which the wrong sort of person is attracted for the worst of reasons ”

That is true of any country . It is true of Russia and Brazil , and it is also true of Liechtenstein and Trinidad and Tobago.

It’s basically the same institution , with the same pre-dispositions and inclinations , world – wide.

I have always thought that Alexsandyr Solzhenitsyn ‘s , ” The Gulag Archipelago ” is a good , basic , textbook on the nature of criminal justice and the nature of the secular state , regardless of the fact that he was writing specifically about the NKVD and the Soviet Union.

A good basic textbook on the subject , regardless of where you happen to reside.

Funny thing ; Solzhenitsyn was lionized in the West , by both people calling themselves liberals , and by people calling themselves conservatives . They went so far as to give him the Nobel Prize , for trashing Soviet criminal justice , and trashing the nature of the Soviet state —

    — That is , they lionized him until he came to the West and said the same things about the West.

Then it was , ” Gee , whatever happened to Alexsandyr Solzhenitsyn ? Is he even still alive ? ”

” The United States is well on its way to martial law and a permanent police state ”

It always was headed that way.

That may not have been apparent as late as 1900 , when two – thirds of the population was rural , and petroleum and coal even then had yet to work their miracles . ( To work their miracles for would – be control – freaks that is. )

But it really should be obvious now.

Little countries have several choices as to which way to go , and it can go either way.

But countries like Russia , China , and Brazil actually have fewer choices , fewer ways to maneuver.

There are only so many ways you can run a huge state.

Like , for example , if you have a suburban half – acre estate , you can use a hundred dollar push mower , or a four thousand dollar zero turn commercial mower. It really doesn’t matter. The pertinent motive could simply be what you prefer.

Like wise , you can decide to maintain the property entirely in lawn , or you can plant every square inch in vegetables , flowers , exotics , and mulch .

You can maintain the property about as well with one worker , as with ten workers. The difference is marginal.

You CAN well enough afford to go either way . You CAN choose to devote as many man hours , or as few , and get essentially the same result.

    But with a 500 or a 1,000 acre estate ?

Chattel slavery , or ten thousand dollar tractors , are THE ONLY way to go.

Take a look at first century Roman Latifundia , and at your typical contemporary mega – farm , and tell me that you don’t see a fundamental similarity.

The United States has scarcely anything in common with Japan. ( Unless we are talking about The Greater East Asia Co – Prosperity Sphere . )

The United States has scarcely anything in common with England . ( Unless we are talking about the British Empire. )

The United States has scarcely anything in common with Iceland.

Japanese , English , and Icelanders who tell you otherwise are either ignorant , or not your friends.

The models for the United States are Russia , China , and Brazil .

Whether you want dictatorship , or something else , ignoring that doesn’t help you either way.

    • K-Dog June 5, 2020 at 10:42 pm #

You are too much to deal with. In your first four lines you go off on Siberian rails but instead of establishing an adventure into dialog you take it as a lead from one fantastical tangent to another. I don’t have a secret decoder ring so I’ll pass trying to follow it.

You see I liked the first part

It is about a pervasive law enforcement culture in this country to which the wrong sort of person is attracted for the worst of reasons.

But like the rest of us it all has to do with $$

That is true of any country . It is true of Russia and Brazil , and it is also true of Liechtenstein and Trinidad and Tobago.

This embrace of nihilistic defeatism on the second line I can’t stand.

        • KesaAnna June 5, 2020 at 10:52 pm #

I’m not sure what nihilistic defeatism has to do with the differences between half – acre estates and one thousand acre estates.

“It’s basically the same institution , with the same pre-dispositions and inclinations , world – wide. ”

You might suggest that the issues with law enforcement are due to the fact that a majority (or at least many) of the practitioners are…human.

      You would be correct.

” You claim not to be American but you are in the Hotel California. So welcome again.

“We are all just prisoners here of our own device” ”

Lol , I have long thought that this would be a good national anthem for the United States.

One need not be a tenor or a soprano to sing it.

And while the imperialism in the Star Spangled Banner is appropriate , the anti – British animus in it has long since become archaic.

And the Star Spangled Banner is a bit schizophrenic . The Brits and the Israelis , two groups with which you have scarcely anything in common , are quite possibly your only … umm …. friends.

The Russians and Chinese , with whom you have everything in common , are habitually on the list of your worst enemies.

” Oh, the Lincoln Memorial will go eventually. ”

And how silly would that be ?

Since you don’t really look to Rome , or to Jerusalem , or to Mecca , this temple would serve just as well.

    Racism ?

    WTF ?

Abraham Lincoln’s great claim to fame was that he had 300,000 WHITE people shot because they wanted a divorce.

” …. you can check out any time you like , but you can never leave. ”

    • KesaAnna June 5, 2020 at 10:49 pm #

” Abraham Lincoln’s great claim to fame was that he had 300,000 WHITE people shot because they wanted a divorce. ”

White people which he . himself , called Americans.

      How’s that for love ?

      • Kakadu Man June 6, 2020 at 12:48 am #

The Civil War was “about” a majority of Americans wanting to free four million slaves from imprisonment.

Anything else is just Confederate BS. The time had come for the end of slavery, and Lincoln was not going to oversee the dissolution of the US in order to allow the South to continue that cruel economy.

Anyway – the war was started by the Confederacy.

        • SoftStarLight June 6, 2020 at 2:47 am #

Well gee that’s really amazing that you know just exactly what good ole honest Uncle Abe was thinking and strategizing. You know, looking back on things I guess I kinda like Lincoln now. He would have made things right if he would have lived. It was John Wilkes Booth that was working for the shadow people the whole time. They knew what the repercussions of his death would be but it made them that more richer and powerful.

          • Kakadu Man June 6, 2020 at 3:15 am #

I made no presumptions at all to what Lincoln was or was not thinking on any given day, because I don’t have to … why have you gone down this very weird burrow?

Read the Gettysburg Address for once … it tells you pretty-much all you need to know what Lincoln was thinking about dissolution of the US.

          • SoftStarLight June 6, 2020 at 3:30 am #

The shadow people weird burrow? Because they do exist. I was just saying that I think now if Lincoln would not have been assasinated and would have finished his term it may have been better for the nation in so many different ways. But the Illuminati.

        • benr June 6, 2020 at 9:01 am #

          Free and then what?
Many of them wanted the slaves to leave and started a country called liberia we see how well that went.
The north really did not have a plan for what to do with all the freedmen and this nation has been awash in anger ever since.
Several hundred years later these people won’t let it go and move on.
Even the poorest among us has a better life than many in Africa.
Ingrates running water, power, air conditioning, food on demand and still they demand more and worse call all white people racist.
Perpetual grievance for some and agitation hucksterism from grifters like Al not so Sharpton or Jesse Jerkson.
So many still live on a virtual plantation being told how bad they have it and how angry they should be.
Sad and now the idiots are being herded into yet another horrible mistake end the PO PO as if that will make everything all right.
After that we get Chicago in all black neighborhoods.

Maybe that is the plan for them to snuff each other out if so talk about insidious only something that hates humanity could have devised all of this.

          • sophia June 6, 2020 at 10:53 am #

Keep your eyes on the ball.
Blacks seem to have begun to have a lot of demands and refusal to get over slavery because the bad elements in our society – especially university professors – are teaching that. Their attitude would be entirely different and more reasonable if different memes were floating out there.

None of this angst is necessary. It is a caused destruction.
            Good versus evil.

There is a roman building in a french town that is still in very good shape. I forgot where.

“300,000 WHITE people shot because they wanted a divorce. ”

But not just any divorce. There were serious disagreements concerning the property settlement.

      • KesaAnna June 5, 2020 at 11:02 pm #

        You really want Mississippi ?

I suspect that is in the same category with you really want Palestine , the Panjsher valley , or the Mekong Delta.

Meanwhile , as valuable as New York or California real estate is , I suspect that if they wanted a divorce , millions would at least secretly be happy to see them gone.

        • KesaAnna June 5, 2020 at 11:22 pm #

” There were serious disagreements concerning the property settlement. ”

        • SoftStarLight June 6, 2020 at 3:37 am #

Who knows? Maybe that valuable real estate won’t be so valuable if riots and anarchy prevail. Then the quiet forests and lazy bayous of Mississippi may not look all that bad. Lots of land for growing crops too.

          • benr June 6, 2020 at 9:03 am #

Its not about the property its about the weather.

          • SoftStarLight June 6, 2020 at 1:23 pm #

I do see your point. I will say though, from October – April and even early May the weather is often very pleasant. But yeah, then there is six months of hot as hades. Also many days in the summer an afternoon thunderstorm will come along and wipe out the heat. So there is that too.

        • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 11:04 am #

The Pont du Gard is in pretty good nick too, although clearly not a building.

I recall a pleasant swim across the river beside it 30 years ago while sharing charge of a bunch of rather rough Edinburgh teenagers from a ‘difficult’ school. No black/brown kids in it, which would be the assumption on here if it was ‘difficult’, but a few settled ‘traveller’ families – one of the kids lectured me for referring to a highly colourful (for the tourists) gypsy lady in Les Saintes Maries de la Mer as a gypsy. Had to explain to her that the word was neutral and not pejorative as it left my mouth. Nobody really said ‘Roma’ back then. Didn’t bother to ask her why a person permanently living in a house had to be called a ‘traveller’!

But I could see that the spirit was already the same.

    And the tangible difference ?

I simply don’t see one anymore.

    • SoftStarLight June 6, 2020 at 3:20 am #

But wait! They really do mean it and for them its true. The diversity that dissolves was put there because it was meant to do exactly that. The people thought and think that the slogan is for them. Nope. It’s the business model of the billionaires and the bankers. And presto you don’t have a country anymore but what do they care. The world is theirs. For now.

      • Kakadu Man June 6, 2020 at 5:33 am #

Yeah … the nation-state is just so 1790s … we should all get with the new paradigm!

        • SoftStarLight June 6, 2020 at 1:28 pm #

Well that is kinda missing my point. My point is that the elites, the banking cartels and billionaires use diversity as a weapon to divide and conquer nation-states and absorb them into a global system. It has been going on for a very long time.

          • Kakadu Man June 6, 2020 at 5:28 pm #

I didn’t miss your point at all … I just don’t agree with it. In fact it’s the reverse in my mind … the elites use (and have used for centuries) the “nation-state” as a powerful prop to protect and extend their interests.

Patriotism and nationalism are exploited by the powerful. The working class of most countries have much more in common with the working class of other nations, but they get forced to fight them in wars, and shed blood.

Globalism might have cost jobs in the rust belt, but overwhelmingly it has done two things: (a) made the production of many goods cheaper and more efficient, and (b) led to peace and global co-operation.

  54. BackRowHeckler June 6, 2020 at 3:46 am #

One big difference between the riots in the 60s and the riots now is back then they were accompanied by some pretty cool music — Gill Scott-Heron’s ‘The Revolution Will Not Be Televised’, Steven Stills ‘For What Its Worth’, anything by Country Joe MacDonald and the Fish … not this time around … just some hip hop describing smackin down hoes and jacking beamers …. that’s about it.

Gotta love this! Can you imagine if white people told blacks they needed to follow these rules! A protest in the capitol city of my state this weekend has time set aside for “blacks only” to give talks and for open mic. And somehow the virtue signaling white folks intent on demonstrating their “wokeness” and begging forgiveness for all of their “white privilege” not only allow this but willingly participate.

I’m not apologizing for being white. I’ve worked really hard all of my life to raise my child, buy a home, put food on the table and not depend on handouts to do so. I often worked 40 hours/week while in college and taking 18 credits at the same time. Guess I’m “privileged” though!

        Nonsense and an unhealthy obsession.

        • Nightowl June 6, 2020 at 4:03 pm #

Indeed. The only real advantage or disadvantage is class, which, of course, translates to money and the opportunities associated with it.

Every Asian, Black, Latio, etc., individual I went to school with had similar chances at making it, so to speak. Programs like affirmative action should be terminated.

Class is the perpetual struggle. Race is a wedge issue to keep the proles squabbling with one another.

          • Kakadu Man June 6, 2020 at 6:13 pm #

Class is the perpetual struggle. Race is a wedge issue to keep the proles squabbling with one another.

I agree to a large extent – that class is a strong determinant of life’s chances and overall prosperity and happiness (and a lot of that is associated with having parents who are responsible, sober, caring, and ambitious).

It does beg the question however, why in most middle-class schools (and almost certainly in all high-cost private schools) the whites dominate the demographic, and the majority of minority groups crowd the poorest places?

It’s good to check your white privilege whenever you’re whitesplaining, it seems to me.

And it’s certainly not me who has an “unhealthy obsession” about race … I never introduce it into any discussion point whatsoever – it’s others on here – white supremacists and racists – for whom it appears to be the only thing they think about.

          • Karah June 7, 2020 at 1:14 pm #

Class is not always dependent on real money
Class is defined by the APPEARANCE of wealth or advantage due to skin color or family ties.
I know lots of poor people who have more class in their little finger than most of the 1%.

        • Kakadu Man June 6, 2020 at 6:21 pm #

          Nonsense and an unhealthy obsession.

If accepting and dealing with the totally obvious reality that whites in general have far greater life chances and advantages than minorities in general is an “unhealthy obsession”, then I’ll proudly wear the label.

Anything else is tone-deaf denial, and hallucination.

My partner and I were born working class, but had great parents, and we received good upbringing and college education … we did well with hard work and sober habits. But of course we kicked off on at least second base, compared to non-white socio-economic groups.

Reality – not an unhealthy obsession.

          • sophia June 6, 2020 at 9:05 pm #

None of those problems are white people’s fault. We leveled the playing field. After that, it is up to the individual, the family, the culture.

          • Kakadu Man June 6, 2020 at 9:55 pm #

            We leveled the playing field.

A lot of people would disagree with you, including a lot of white people. Look at the protest movement on Saturday, for a start. And some history.

          • Mountain gal June 7, 2020 at 6:47 am #

            @ Kakadu

Yes, the plural “parents”. Obviously you were born into a 2-parent family. That’s a good start. About 70% or maybe more of black babies are now born to single mothers. It can be blamed to some extent on the social policies created by liberals that financially rewarded single mothers and thus dads departed the scene but you’d have to agree that blacks embraced this far earlier and to a greater extent then whites did. Poor whites are now catching up to them in this which doesn’t bode well. But who can fix this? Try to remove economic benefits to single mother families and there will be an outpouring of outrage, aided and abetted by the NYT and its ilk.

The only ones who can fix this, make 2-parent stable families the norm once again in black communities, emphasize the value of education etc is blacks themselves.

          • Karah June 7, 2020 at 6:37 pm #

The latest generation (Z) will never know a two parent household. There are couples intentionally living apart because both want to work and their careers keep them in different regions. There are also all the guys leaving their 3rd world to work in other countries for better income to support their families.

      • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 1:05 pm #

Yeah huge advantages – like having a high functioning White brain.

        • K-Dog June 6, 2020 at 2:10 pm #

What is it like to go through life knowing you are a thoroughbred? Do you feel frustration and angst that your fellow man can’t keep up?

I have heard that it is lonely on top and I fear the mountaintop may indeed be a cold stormy place. But then superior high functioning brains may mean a superior high functioning adjustment. A warmth and self confidence from spending a life on easy street. Extra whipped cream on your desserts.

Or do you just want to whip it good because the loneliness of your superiority has caused you to become deranged and you shiver in fear. A fear of always being left out so your soul can only seek to share that pain with others.

          Which is it?

          • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 2:59 pm #

Yes, all the Overman stuff. It’s hard being out in front. I remember my first kitten who climbed the porch stairs to eat solid food for the first time. In a week or so the rest of them were up there too. Milk just wasn’t enough for them anymore.

Or remember when we were both fish? I crawled up on land and you called me an idiot? It’s so easy to stay the same or go backwards. You yearn for the Water now. You have the Innsmouth Look.

I’m more than other people and less. Both at the same time. Incredible but true! But I still look human, though in an archaic European way.

  56. Slugoon June 6, 2020 at 6:14 am #

When I look at the ‘protests’ taking place across America, and those now taking place here in the UK, I can’t help but notice a striking correlation between their location and their demographic. Democrat-run multicultural areas in the USA, Labour-run (and add to that, Europhile) multicultural areas in the UK.

Ain’t no protests here in Cheshire, or down in Cornwall. Fancy that.

    • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 6:58 am #

      Protests in Cumbria, Slugoon.

(Carlisle voted Leave and Tory, respectively. Multiculti?).

And Taunton (Leave and Tory. Multiculti?)

And only postponed in Truro (that’d be Cornwall) for reasons related to Covid. (Tory and Remain. Multiculti?).

      Fancy that.

And only one constituency in the whole of Scotland has a Labour MP. That’d be Edinburgh South, where I live. About as multiculti as Cheshire, I imagine. Similar social demographic in other ways too.

      • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 7:00 am #

I voted ~Labour and Remain, of course, but wasn’t at any demos. 🙂

        • BackRowHeckler June 6, 2020 at 9:35 am #

GA, in the UK, what are the protests about?

China is holding 1 million Uigers in concentration camps, in Tehran recently there was a mass public hanging of ‘traitors’.

Any public protests about that, or only against (non existent ‘police brutality’) in the USA?

          • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 11:32 am #

“GA, in the UK, what are the protests about?”

In this instance I was referring only to the current>/i> BLM-type protests in solidarity with the ones over your way. I think they’ve been peaceful, apart from some skirmishes in London, but I haven’t really been following it closely. People in most places are still being respectful of distancing and wearing masks out of respect for the frontliners.

There have obviously been protests about other things in the past (e.g. Iraq war/G7/8) and embassies tend to be picketed when specific things happen, but there are very few Uyghurs in the UK, whereas there are a fair number of black citizens (as you like to point out) and there has been considerable friction with the police in the past from time to time (although our police training has changed considerably over the decades and aims to follow a consent-based model).

There is an ongoing issue with a death-in-custody of a black man, Sheku Bayoh, in Fife, just over the Forth from me, which has been brought to prominence again following the death of George Floyd. His name appears on some of the banners seen here.

You always jump in with a bit of whataboutery, brh, when I make a comment like that. I didn’t defend, support, or criticise the demonstrations in the UK, but merely corrected the erroneous assertion that they’re only happening in Labour/Europhile towns.

I totally object to the violence and looting in the American protests, but peaceful protests are a right, whether you agree with them or not.

It is also possible to accept that Mr Floyd was clearly, in general, not a model citizen, while agreeing that his potential manslaughter was completely unacceptable.

          • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 11:33 am #

Sorry, wasn’t meant to be all in italics, just ‘current’!

          • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 1:09 pm #

Again with the “whataboutery”. It’s called thinking, Alba. He questioning your consistency anent your supposed Principles. In other words, if you’re not consistent about a Principle, maybe you don’t really believe it as such. Maybe your real Principle is something else.

For example: All lives matter includes Black Lives mattering. That they refuse the universal is very telling, is it not? And that they can’t stand us adhering to the former is a clear challenge to Liberalism. And if you can’t see that, that is also telling. As is the fact that many Whites are now chanting Black Lives Matter and have adopted the outrage at All Lives Matter.

          • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 1:11 pm #

And if you responded to his challenge, that would be what used to be called a “debate”. Very European and logical. Not in fashion at all. Good people know what the Truth is and don’t debate it, right?

          • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 2:30 pm #

            Re my principles:

            (1) I haven’t attended any of the demonstrations. I haven’t attended any demonstrations since one against Maggie Thatcher’s education cuts when I was a student in the early 70s (I felt uncomfortable and privileged). In some cases, I feel a certain shame or regret that I didn’t attend particular demonstrations, but I’m just not a demonstrations type of person. There are things I might still demonstrate for, however, but I don’t know.

            (2) I agree that all lives matter, including black lives. See (1) above, in that I have never demonstrated for BLM.

            (3) I’ve mentioned before that it doesn’t matter what I very honestly tell you I do or don’t do you seek to criticise it, routinely. What exactly are you criticising me for in this instance? For not going on a demonstration that isn’t happening, for Uyghurs or oppressed Iranians? For merely stating that demos are happening in both small and large, Leave and Remain, Labour and Tory towns in the UK, even though I’m not taking part in any of them? What exactly?

          • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 2:42 pm #

Ok then. So you aren’t going to use that noxious term, “whataboutery” anymore? You understand that questions like BRH’s are a challenge to either a principle or to your (or anyone’s) practice of a principle. In other words, a person may find that they don’t really believe what they thought they believed and thus have to reframe the principle or throw it away completely. Or they may find that they believe in the principle but are being lax and/or hypocritical in its practice.

“What about” questions are an intrinsic part of our Intellectual Tradition. And the fact that you used this hideous internet meme shows your lack of understanding of our Tradition. Sorry, but it’s true.

            You’re still waffling, Janos.

            You haven’t answered my question.

There are some people on here who respond to any criticism of Trump or the Republicans with ‘but what about the Dems/Joe Biden? Or vice versa.

That’s whataboutery and if I want to use the word I don’t need your permission.

Neither you nor brh has told me what your actual complaint is about my merely pointing out where the demos were, while not attending them or any others.

Answer point (3) and we can all go home.

          • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 3:19 pm #

On the other hand if you want to argue principle with the demonstrators about other hypothetical demos they might or might not attend, wouldn’t they be the ones to ask? Am I too logical for you?

The other day you seemed to be confusing me with Neil Ferguson. You just seem generally confused. Let’s see some of that male clarity you keep claiming.

          • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 3:28 pm #

You’re not only confused but confusing. I don’t know what you’re talking about now. Something to do with yourself I’ll warrant.

          • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 3:30 pm #

Why did you throw Neil under the bus when he needed your support? Where is your much touted loyalty now? He used to be your God!

“Why did you throw Neil under the bus when he needed your support? Where is your much touted loyalty now? He used to be your God!”

See, this is the shite that you come out with when you start unravelling. Go and have a beer. There might be some clarity at the bottom of the glass.

          • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 4:27 pm #

In other words, you don’t even remember that you used to be in favor of the Lockdown Policy he came up with. A sad admission but not surprising coming from you.

          • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 5:19 pm #

I have told you multiple times that I am agnostic on the lockdown. I am neither for it nor against it because it is not a monolithic ‘thing’.. I believe that it may have been more necessary in some places than in others. Do you not observe what happens and keep an open mind?

I told you an age ago that I had a lot of sympathy with Professor Giesecke’s hypothesis. More than once. Why do you keep pretending I didn’t say that?

I don’t recall ever mentioning Neil Ferguson until you brought him up. And at no time did I ever mention or endorse his outlier predictions of the number of deaths in the event of no precautions whatever being taken. What I do recall saying was that the UK’s Chief Scientific Officer said 20,000 deaths would be a ‘good’ outcome for the UK. We’re currently at 40,000.

There are lockdowns in numerous countries and they didn’t all make their decisions on the basis of what Neil Ferguson said. Try to get over him.

I’ve reminded you multiple times what the situation was like in Madrid and that critically ill patients in Lombardy had to be taken by helicopter to other parts of Italy and then to Germany because the hospitals were massively over capacity. Remind yourself of the situation in New York. Look at Rio now.

Are you really suggesting lockdown wasn’t necessary anywhere?

And you haven’t told me why you refuse to engage with the measures that would help the post-lockdown phase work and reduce the need for any further lockdowns. Still waiting.

No efforts are needed now. You get it or you don’t. You live or you die. Don’t go to work if you feel bad. Stay away from rest homes. Don’t send Covid patients to rest homes as was done here in order to kill as many as possible.

Life is a risk. Free Men accept this. Slaves do not.

I have a niece who put her and her husbands life savings into opening a resturaunt, only to have Covid suck it dry, then finished off with looters. First thing I asked was “are you insured “? “Yes,sort of, but there is a rider which excludes civil disobediance .” I’m guessing 90+% of business owners have the same rider.

500 businesses destroyed in Minneapolis alone.

Jim often writes about restoring our towns and small cities — now is the time. As far as big cities go let the people who destroyed them and their lefty pols who encouraged it to happen live in the piles of rubble and ash they have created. No fixing them up this time around.l

        @ BRH

But then they will complain that they live in a “food desert” and have to travel long distances by bus in order to buy groceries or pretty much anything since they looted and destroyed the stores where they live. The NYT will do a sympathy generating photo spread on the moms of 5 kids traveling with the 5 kids by bus to get groceries and thousands of liberals will write in their comments of outrage. And we’re all supposed to feel guilty and insist that chain stores reopen there I suppose. A shame for the people who live there who had nothing to do with this of course.

Exactly. Since it is a planned and coordinated demolition in the first place all the thousands of plants in local and state governments will continue to ensure rioters and looters have a space to destroy. And they either don’t arrest them or they simply release them after booking them like turnstiles.

The Blacks are foot soldiers. Try to win a battle without foot soldiers or a game of chess without pawns. You should know Blacks well then I see – but you don’t it seems. Many Liberals deny their own experiences in this area of course.

That blacks are being used is something I already said. But they are also waking up. There are many wonderful voices of reason that are speaking to America and to blacks, teaching them what’s really going on. And so many clueless whites! Can you teach them? I have had little success.
It’s not that I don’t know them well, or have the usual visceral unease due to the propensity for violence and crime. It is that I have learned to love them for their good qualities. All peoples have bad elements and good elements and very good elements.
All races and cultures have their outstanding qualities and achievements, and their faults.
I worry about blacks because their culture is in a failed state and I hope they can recover. Idiotic liberals don’t help their cause by infantilizing them, taking responsibility for what is not white responsibility, and continually doing dumb things in the name of helping, which is that paving of the road to hell.
Yeah, whites and blacks have some hate for each other, but they also love each other. So many people, returning from NDE’s have said that the main lesson is to love more.
You are probably right that having two very different peoples living side by side has more problems than if such were not the case. But the blacks are here to stay I’m pretty sure, and we stole them because they have value.
To remove them after having stolen and used them would offend the mandate of heaven.
Black people seem to have something the others don’t have. I’m convinced few white people know about it. It was shown to me by God and it was a reward.
It is a subtle thing, an energy, an ambrosia. I’m immensely grateful to have experienced it. The finest of drinks.

They have the vitality of barbarians, yes. We are half alive compared to them. And they mock us for it.

Now we have what they have not and it burns them. Somehow they know it – even though Whites have forgotten or refuse to recognize IQ. Likewise the long beautiful hair of our Women is unbearable to them. They just have the nappy cotton junk. Thus wigs are a huge business in Black America. Chris Rock made a video about it. Very long fine dark hair is imported from the State of Kerala, India.

We will only rediscover our vitality when we rise above the mind, but without losing touch with our bodies. And yes, Western spirituality has largely ignored this. This is the province of some of the Yogas of India, Tibet and China, Hindu, Buddhist, and Taoist.

Or when we fall and become barbarians again ourselves. The former is the preferable course.

I still don’t think you understand what I meant by weapons. Why would you as a woman? A weapon is a tool. Give me a lever and I can move the world. The Blacks are just such a lever and they are a terrible weapon in the hands of their Masters. Read some of the literature of the Samurai Swordsmen. You can never take your eye off the weapon or the man who wields it. But beginners best keep their eye on the sword. Masters watch the man too because that gives clues as to what he is going to do with the sword. Your big idea is just to watch the man. Thus you lose.

      • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 1:27 pm #

Value? They’re outdated farm equipment. Oh Lord give me strength. Look, we give them their own Nation. That makes a fine end of the whole thing.

When economics changed and the Celtic Clan system fell, some of the Chiefs helped their tenants establish themselves in Canada, etc. They fulfilled their ancient obligations. The change was forced on them by the Conquering English. They didn’t ask for it. But they had to adopt it or become peasants or factory workers themselves. So that’s what they did, replacing their clansmen with sheep! So it goes, a very sad, evil business.

        • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 3:25 pm #

“Look, we give them their own Nation. That makes a fine end of the whole thing.”

I wouldn’t know, Janos. Some estimates suggest as many as two million people died before and during partition. And relations between the two new states haven’t got much better since, given the violence and trauma of the exercise.

You affirm that blacks are different but deny it when you say that we could get that same vitality if we would become yogis. However, be that as it may, they will always have their own flavor, as would we.

Preferable to that is for us to become barbarians??

If they are a formidable tool in the hands of their masters, then we should not let our enemies master them.

  61. BackRowHeckler June 6, 2020 at 12:42 pm #

The upshot of the hysteria directed at the LE will be not the dissolution of the PD, but street officers reluctant to engage and collar black criminals in the streets. Why stick you neck when nobody has your back? Why risk being fired or arrested yourself? The cities will be less safe than they already are. People and businesses will move out. Why stay around? There are still plenty of civilized places in the US you can move to.

    Systemic racism

What happens when two very different cultures co-exist without some form of commonality binding them together.

Whites condemn Blacks for their fatherless culture based on welfare for mothers. The dependence that that culture eschews is the basis of resentment that the Blacks hold against the White culture. No one likes the holder of the purse strings.

This is built in. Nothing will improve things until the culture of one changes to the other.

Fat chance. A big problem for the Blacks is dependency. As soon as they would lose their tie in to the White dominance, they would lose their economic wherewithal. They continuously wants all the goodies without the responsibility to earn it.

There is an example of the White bias. Can it change?

We could have done it at several points, but “practical” men always have other things to do and say it’s too much trouble. In other words, they’re lusting after cheap labor, etc.

Jefferson said that their presence might end our Nation. Was he wrong?

I admit there’s no road towards it now, but if one ever opened up, would you start chiming in about the nice ones? Character isn’t inherited, but tendencies are. And you know their tendencies. And any son of a good one is likely to be a reversion to the mean in terms of both IQ and character.

          • elysianfield June 6, 2020 at 11:23 pm #

Well, they don’t have to be nice. Civil, or a benign neglect would suffice. Should nits become lice? Demand of them the cultural fealty of their fathers.

As I have mentioned before, I have a solution to crime in America. It would pass Constitutional muster, is humane, even benign by many standards, cost effective, and guaranteed to work.

It requires only the will to implement.

If we could do that, we could also make them go. Why not do the radical (to the root of) thing when we are strong and able? Once we get weak again (from the good times!), the same old rebellions would start again and we would then lack the strength to do what I think you’re implying. Under my idea, at least they wouldn’t be around to make things worse next time.

Here you go, drear. A conservative Black blogger. Pretend this is me – basically the same ideas about the current events at least. Maybe you can hear it from a Black since you prefer them, perhaps.

Women, even intelligent ones like Sophia, are still easily confused and in desperate need of male clarity.

Jefferson said long ago, We must separate or we will mix. There is no middle ground. He felt the former would be a tragedy since he valued our Race. And in any case, with mixture real or actual “diversity” would be lost, right? I mean that’s clear, right? If not, what is diversity?

Real diversity only exists when there is separation. They’ve confused the word to mean the process whereby real or actual diversity is lost. The feminization or loss of clarity in the West is almost absolute now. It’s basically criminalized at this point.

    • lbs June 6, 2020 at 2:39 pm #

That’s the same mentality as the woke left. Identity politics. I think it is utter bullshit.

      • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 2:46 pm #

Yes, but they want to destroy us. That’s where we differ. We intend to live. Surely there is a big difference between life and death? Victory and Defeat? Freedom and Slavery? Get out of your head. Give up the illusion of being some kind of Omniscient narrator. You’re in the game. And not to choose is to choose. You already have your uniform. If in doubt, look down at the color of your hands right this moment. Get out of your damn head.

      • SoftStarLight June 6, 2020 at 3:08 pm #

It seemed like he was addressing specific problems within the black community and decrying the seeming widespread acceptance of black on black violence as well as the rioting and looting in black neighborhoods. How was that identity politics? He wasn’t calling for separation or for special rights for blacks. What exactly was woke about it?

Here’s a great article here that asks a question every white person should think about: https://www.amren.com/commentary/2020/06/who-speaks-for-whites/

Current events are a great opportunity; they polarize and clarify the situation, get people out of their comfort zones and force them to consider the unthinkable. I’m certainly awake now, and I’m trying to wake everyone I know. Who speaks for whites? It’s a simple yet profound question that I dare any non-woke white person to consider.

    • Kakadu Man June 6, 2020 at 6:44 pm #

      Who speaks for whites?

Not a question that needs asking … whites have everything and everyone talking for them. Presidents, governments, courts, police, the military, academics, Wall Street, bankers, corporations, media, bible-thumpers.

About 90% of the pie. How much do you want? Absolutely everything in the world?

With the power on the Left side for forty years, with a Black president in place for eight of those forty years, with the civil rights and voting rights laws in place since the sixties,

How come everything is so one sided, your question is a good one.

Is the problem a bunch of White guys intimidating the Blacks so they will do nothing to get ahead?

Or a bunch of Black guys that are just not interested?

Here is a clue. Athletics. When inspired, Blacks are terrific, outdoing Whites at every turn. Vast majorities of professional sports are Black. Even in the power positions. And oh by the way, the White population supports those folks with great vigor.

How come the Blacks do not support the White population the same way in the occupations they are good at.

Dare I say it, reverse racism, do the Blacks want everything?

        In a word, yes!!!

      • Janos Skorenzy June 6, 2020 at 8:39 pm #

Elite Whites have everything. And Elite Jews. Neither identify with regular Whites or represent us in any way.

      • Shiva Dance June 6, 2020 at 9:16 pm #

@Kakadu Yet none of these supposed white leaders dare to speak publicly in defense of their people, and if they do they are quickly cancelled. Compare that to how prominent blacks, Jews and other minorities advocate for their ethnic interests and power all the time, with no protest or censure whatsoever. This is a parade of hypocrisy and total cowardice. So no, these white elites don’t speak for me. All we want are normal leaders who defend their people, as every other people throughout history have had. This ethno-masochistic regime is a total anomaly that can’t possibly last. We will get leaders who speak for us, one way or another. The rest is conversation.

Few years back Black Gangsters from Hartford were driving to Vt and kidnapping young blond girls, (they had to be blond) on return trip to Hartford injecting them with heroin, keeping them prisoner for the purpose of pimping them out in de hood. I knew about it but it was on one of the true crime programs recently. The FBI and HPD finally broke up the ring and rescued the girls but it took awhile.

About 1/2 dozen girls from Vermont 14-16 years old made into sex slaves and addicts, pimped out in ‘The Community’ to community members.

More on the Hydroxy. retraction news.

“It is very rare for a major medical journal to retract a paper, especially one that supports an entire orthodoxy. This paper pinned together the very trinity of Covid-19’s economic and political faith: By taking down HCQ, as “dangerous,” it took direct aim also at President Trump.”

“The truth now emerging is that the data was never vetted, either by the authors of the paper or by the journals that published its conclusions.”

” The journals take no responsibility for the utter lack of vetting. Not a word. The authors of the fake study are wearing shame-caps and marched before the reader, while the journal editors stand back. Kind of like Buzzfeed with the Russian dossier.”

Scienz and journalizm in the age of accountability journalism. “My truth”is all that matters.

    And Orange Man Bad.

You’re a sad little fellow, Tweets.

The Lancet’s cock-up was immense. You’ll remember they had to retract Andrew Wakefield’s paper as well. So really not good.

You don’t seem to get the point, though, Tweets. The Marseille study (methodologically flawed and statistically insignificant), the US Vets study (which showed twice as high a percentage of deaths with HCQ than without) and the study in the Lancet weren’t randomised controlled trials.

The randomised controlled trials that ARE actually being conducted aren’t showing any benefit from HCQ.

I’m sad for you that you don’t understand how these things work, but, like I said, maybe you’ve spent too much time editing fog. The gold standard remains the randomised controlled trial. If you really did work for the NAS you should know that.

          So, where are we now?

Well, as of yesterday, this is where we are.

The WHO have been made aware of the results and are continuing with their own randomised controlled trials. Results should be available soon.

But so far NO randomised controlled trial has shown any benefit to Covid patients of using HCQ. If they did that would be great because the UK bought a whole pile of it in May just in case it would. Not that it will go to waste since it’s needed for other things.

Why is it that you find this so difficult to follow? I thought you had a high IQ?

        • GreenAlba June 6, 2020 at 5:36 pm #

And remember to respond to the POST and not just come out with silly emotional outbursts like last time. Take a deep breath and THINK about its implications. Remember you’re a really clever guy, Tweets, so emotional outbursts shouldn’t be necessary.

Did he not prescribe statin drugs as a preventative measure like so many other corrupt MD certified imbeciles, only to see them develop cancer and other horrific conditions? If not, how come? How many patients have the luxury to “pick and chose the right medicine“, understanding according to Mrs Green “the trick” to surviving the MD certified mass murderers.

She’s a reporter from a Conservative channel in Canada. She wasn’t marching, she was off on the sidewalk holding a camera and documenting antifa looters being outed during the protest. So the people exposing antifa get arrested and mistreated while antifa is left alone to terrorize and loot. The only way to make sense of this idiocy is to understand that the police are in cahoots with antifa. I would not be surprised if some of them are one and the same. Another cause of police brutality is the training many American police forces have received from Israelis. In Israel, police are used to suppress Palestinians in occupied territories and in Gaza. It is well known that the Israeli government has little regard for the lives of Palestinians. Israeli police training stresses the importance of the life of the officer. This attitude has now been transferred to American police. We see it continually in their exaggerated response to anything that can be interpreted or misinterpreted as a threat to them. A billfold becomes a gun and so on. Many murders committed by police can be attributed directly to this attitude that has been ingrained by their training.”

          • akmofo June 7, 2020 at 1:18 am #

Roberts is a Nazi scumbag and a liar talking nonsense. The police in Israel keep a very low profile. Most of the time they’re undercover doing detective work. The Israeli Police don’t deal with the Jihadistanis. The IDF is the army and it’s the one that deals with the Jihadistanis. The army soldiers are 18 to 21 years old. In fact, you rarely see the police in Israel. They’re simply not needed. The rare time I do see them is during large concerts to direct traffic and people to and from the event.

In Almaty, activists carried a banner that read “I Can’t Breathe”

Almaty is in Kazakhstan. Same latitude as Milwaukee. Two million people. Kazakhstan has been devastated by Covid lock-downs and four million people lost all their work. There are no black people in Kazakhstan so I suspect the solidarity shown has a lot to do with protesting what is safe because if you protested about what you wanted to protest about you would get arrested. 100 activists were arrested.

Protests in London Lebanon and other places. Covid lock-down fever.

Since I have not had it and don’t feel the need to aimlessly protest gather in large crowds and spread the disease I wonder?

There is a nasty thing that ants can get sick from. It makes them climb grass blades to the top so birds will see and eat them. The disease then lives in a bird until it is shit to the ground where it can infect ants again to close the circle and get the ants climbing.

    • Kakadu Man June 7, 2020 at 1:02 am #

Protests in London Lebanon and other places. Covid lock-down fever.

Very large protest rallies on Saturday in Australia’s big cities and smaller ones too. These are “Black Lives Matter rallies – but marching to protest against Aboriginal deaths in custody – there have been 400+ in the last couple of decades.

Aboriginal people comprise just 3% of the population (so about 750,000) – but are way over-represented in terms of arrest and incarceration. These rallies are organised and led by Aboriginal leaders, but a large percentage of the marchers are not Aboriginal – this is a movement that has pretty wide support.

No violence or mayhem (other than traffic stoppages). Some conflicting messaging from (generally sympathetic) state governments – free speech and the imperative to protest, versus no large crowds because of the coronavirus.

But the rate of infection in Australia has been tiny in comparison to most Western countries, so the risks are pretty slight. Interesting times.

      • BackRowHeckler June 7, 2020 at 8:47 am #

Cargill, to what do you attribute Australia’s low Covid infection rate? I was thinking perhaps relatively small population compared to ours — 12%? — or the fact when the virus hit you were at the end of your summer and you had hot temps and plenty of sunshine. It seems like with the summer approaching here in New England Corona is evaporating. There are still people dying but they pretty much are all in retirement facilities.

I expected an all out mob assault on the White House tonite but so far it hasn’t happened. I think with the right leadership they could pull it off because if they could breach the fence I doubt if the Secret Service or the Marines would fire into the crowd with live .223 rounds. Security details could be overrun. I wouldn’t compare it to the British assault on the White House in 1814. Oh the Brits burned the White House and the rabble in DC tonite would burn the White House to the ground if they could. More like in 403 AD when Barberians from the east breached the walls of Rome, which was essentially the end of the Roman empire. The city was stripped clean, and it was the beginning of the end for the City of Rome itself as the imperial city.

I don’t see any leadership emerging here, no Spartacus, Rospierre, or Trotsky, just a lot of cardboard signs, stupid slogans, looting of luxury goods, senseless destruction and unfocused rage. ‘We are marching for change’, WTF does that mean?

Where are the dozens of security and police agencies and tracking and arresting these [antifa] terrorists[?]

It’s amazing how far to the right the US has shifted over the past few decades. Not long go, “anti-fascists” were the establishment, including conservatives, defending democracy against dictators and demagoguery, and now the far right are calling them “terrorists”.

Russian fake news. I remember it well. Beam me up Scottie I deserve better than this. Why am I the only one who looks int this stuff? It is easy.

A third of the Russian Fake news list turned out to be legitimate alternative news sources some of which are still around and it is good to see they have prospered. They are my people. The rest of the websites never improved and vanished. I observed in examining them that they had come from a common source. The source who made the list obviously. The same dull standard of shallow depth.

Russia would have made better websites. It was not up to foreign standards. They have pride. Russia would not have put legit alternative news sources in their list. It was the American deep state who did that. Paymasters with billion dollar budgets.

    Open Letter to President Trump

    from Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò

    Vigano crest 2
    June 7, 2020
    Holy Trinity Sunday

    Mr. President,

In recent months we have been witnessing the formation of two opposing sides that I would call Biblical: the children of light and the children of darkness. The children of light constitute the most conspicuous part of humanity, while the children of darkness represent an absolute minority. And yet the former are the object of a sort of discrimination which places them in a situation of moral inferiority with respect to their adversaries, who often hold strategic positions in government, in politics, in the economy and in the media. In an apparently inexplicable way, the good are held hostage by the wicked and by those who help them either out of self-interest or fearfulness.

These two sides, which have a Biblical nature, follow the clear separation between the offspring of the Woman and the offspring of the Serpent. On the one hand there are those who, although they have a thousand defects and weaknesses, are motivated by the desire to do good, to be honest, to raise a family, to engage in work, to give prosperity to their homeland, to help the needy, and, in obedience to the Law of God, to merit the Kingdom of Heaven. On the other hand, there are those who serve themselves, who do not hold any moral principles, who want to demolish the family and the nation, exploit workers to make themselves unduly wealthy, foment internal divisions and wars, and accumulate power and money: for them the fallacious illusion of temporal well-being will one day – if they do not repent – yield to the terrible fate that awaits them, far from God, in eternal damnation.vig trump 2

In society, Mr. President, these two opposing realities co-exist as eternal enemies, just as God and Satan are eternal enemies. And it appears that the children of darkness – whom we may easily identify with the deep state which you wisely oppose and which is fiercely waging war against you in these days – have decided to show their cards, so to speak, by now revealing their plans. They seem to be so certain of already having everything under control that they have laid aside that circumspection that until now had at least partially concealed their true intentions. The investigations already under way will reveal the true responsibility of those who managed the Covid emergency not only in the area of health care but also in politics, the economy, and the media. We will probably find that in this colossal operation of social engineering there are people who have decided the fate of humanity, arrogating to themselves the right to act against the will of citizens and their representatives in the governments of nations.

We will also discover that the riots in these days were provoked by those who, seeing that the virus is inevitably fading and that the social alarm of the pandemic is waning, necessarily have had to provoke civil disturbances, because they would be followed by repression which, although legitimate, could be condemned as an unjustified aggression against the population. The same thing is also happening in Europe, in perfect synchrony. It is quite clear that the use of street protests is instrumental to the purposes of those who would like to see someone elected in the upcoming presidential elections who embodies the goals of the deep state and who expresses those goals faithfully and with conviction. It will not be surprising if, in a few months, we learn once again that hidden behind these acts of vandalism and violence there are those who hope to profit from the dissolution of the social order so as to build a world without freedom: Solve et Coagula, as the Masonic adage teaches.vig trump 3

Although it may seem disconcerting, the opposing alignments I have described are also found in religious circles. There are faithful Shepherds who care for the flock of Christ, but there are also mercenary infidels who seek to scatter the flock and hand the sheep over to be devoured by ravenous wolves. It is not surprising that these mercenaries are allies of the children of darkness and hate the children of light: just as there is a deep state, there is also a deep church that betrays its duties and forswears its proper commitments before God. Thus the Invisible Enemy, whom good rulers fight against in public affairs, is also fought against by good shepherds in the ecclesiastical sphere. It is a spiritual battle, which I spoke about in my recent Appeal which was published on May 8.

For the first time, the United States has in you a President who courageously defends the right to life, who is not ashamed to denounce the persecution of Christians throughout the world, who speaks of Jesus Christ and the right of citizens to freedom of worship. Your participation in the March for Life, and more recently your proclamation of the month of April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month, are actions that confirm which side you wish to fight on. And I dare to believe that both of us are on the same side in this battle, albeit with different weapons.vig trump 4

For this reason, I believe that the attack to which you were subjected after your visit to the National Shrine of Saint John Paul II is part of the orchestrated media narrative which seeks not to fight racism and bring social order, but to aggravate dispositions; not to bring justice, but to legitimize violence and crime; not to serve the truth, but to favor one political faction. And it is disconcerting that there are Bishops – such as those whom I recently denounced – who, by their words, prove that they are aligned on the opposing side. They are subservient to the deep state, to globalism, to aligned thought, to the New World Order which they invoke ever more frequently in the name of a universal brotherhood which has nothing Christian about it, but which evokes the Masonic ideals of those who want to dominate the world by driving God out of the courts, out of schools, out of families, and perhaps even out of churches.

The American people are mature and have now understood how much the mainstream media does not want to spread the truth but seeks to silence and distort it, spreading the lie that is useful for the purposes of their masters. However, it is important that the good – who are the majority – wake up from their sluggishness and do not accept being deceived by a minority of dishonest people with unavowable purposes. It is necessary that the good, the children of light, come together and make their voices heard. What more effective way is there to do this, Mr. President, than by prayer, asking the Lord to protect you, the United States, and all of humanity from this enormous attack of the Enemy? Before the power of prayer, the deceptions of the children of darkness will collapse, their plots will be revealed, their betrayal will be shown, their frightening power will end in nothing, brought to light and exposed for what it is: an infernal deception.

Mr. President, my prayer is constantly turned to the beloved American nation, where I had the privilege and honor of being sent by Pope Benedict XVI as Apostolic Nuncio. In this dramatic and decisive hour for all of humanity, I am praying for you and also for all those who are at your side in the government of the United States. I trust that the American people are united with me and you in prayer to Almighty God.

United against the Invisible Enemy of all humanity, I bless you and the First Lady, the beloved American nation, and all men and women of good will.

Why do you post this ridiculous internecine crap?

Nobody outside of the Vatican Catholic Beltway cares the slightest about how many angels they’re counting on the head of that pin. Really – do grow up … nobody cares! And you’re making no intelligent point whatsoever.

IIRC, Vigano was also a whistleblower of sorts concerning the church’s pedophile problem.

So now along with all of the apologetic emails I’ve been receiving from companies all begging forgiveness and promising to do better by hiring more blacks at high levels, beating their chests etc we have this. Will it never end? Blacks say they want “equal treatment” yet seem to desire(and need) very unequal treatment, be it affirmative action in hiring and in colleges and now even this! I’m going to be turned into a racist by all of this! And I’m going to avoid doing business with any company that decides to favor one race over another.

    • Janos Skorenzy June 7, 2020 at 1:06 pm #

We have to give them more to convince that we’re not giving them less. And they will still manage to blow it without strong affirmative action.

This is what comes when you weaponize the Christian Guilt Complex, add the liberal doctrines of equality, and then introduce ever larger numbers of the lower races.

You may well have to flee to Israel as many Jews did after they helped to destroy South Africa. Read “Out of the Cannibal’s Pot”. Forget her name, but her father had been a big social justice Rabbi in South Africa.

I must disagree with Mr. Kunstler. He sees the mayhem as a Democrat party shenanigan. It is not. It is much, much worse than that. The entire western world is being taken over by what many have dubbed “cultural marxists”. They took over the universities, then the media and Hollywood, then political parties and now corporate boards.

Every now and then, humans societies turn mad, hysterical. Everyone needs to publicly denounce witches as in Salem, to denounce vice and burn their wealth in bonfire of vanities as in Florence under Savonarola. We happen to live in one of those times, but these days Satan is systemic racism. I’m expecting processions of self-flagellating repenting sinners at any moment.

Agreed. This is way bigger than the Democrats. They’re going along with it and thinking that they love it as it will hopefully make “Orange man” look bad (or so they figure) but they are too dumb to know that it’s not their friend at all.

      My big question is who?

Who is the vanguard of the Marxist turnover? Is the heart of it appeal to the masses that are gimmes and have nots? Do the promise they will give them everything? Have you listened to Bernie this year?

Of course that is who these power jerks are appealing to. Trump says, work hard, I will keep the Deep State off your back, you will succeed. It was working until this year.

Unfortunately, the Deep State machine with their globalist backers Have finally to him in a way he cannot fight. The Leftists go crazy. The biggest joke of all is this has anything to do with St. George.

For people that believe in individualistic motivation, if the Dems win, American becomes a Latin American country. Communism, here we come.

I could not disagree more … a bit of clear-eyed analysis will show you that America – and indeed most of the Western world – have become far more conservative and lurched much further to the right over the last generation or two.

Look at the almost unfettered power of the Murdoch Press, Wall Street, the banks, the corporations, big pharma, big ag, the military-industrial complex as a whole, the medical racket, the education racket … it’s a very long list.

Then add in the deliberate destruction of trade unions over the past 50 years, the crushing of so may good jobs, the casualisation of work, the loss of job security and working conditions that were once believed to be sacrosanct, the rise of the slave-labour “gig economy”

Look at the stacking of federal courts by extreme (and often under-qualified) Republican hacks, the rise and rise of arch-conservative legislatures and governors in state after state, the attack on personal rights and freedoms, the unfettered power of fringe-tight outfits including the NRA.

Lunatic court decisions … stealing the election from Al Gore, giving corporations the right to openly buy toady politicians, the frightening rise of theocratic nutters to positions of power (eg William Barr) … it’s a very long list.

And there isn’t a single Western nation in the G20 (probably in the whole OECD) that is being led by anything remotely like a “marxist” party … in fact very few even have a mildly progressive social democratic party in power. Nothing like fifty years ago.

No – I’m afraid all the paranoid fears about the end of capitalism being nigh, are rather highly exaggerated. What the world needs is resistance to even further lurches to the right – otherwise previously sane places end up with leaders like Turkey, Poland, and Hungary … then you will really see your freedoms disappear.

I don’t see the current protest movement as being orchestrated (let alone started) by the Democrats … they might not even be benefiting from it and might well have preferred just taking on Trump on the basis of his record, including his bungling of the pandemic, and the collapsed economy.

And despite the loss of 40 million jobs, and the shuttering of thousands of small businesses across America – and the world – the stock market powers along because the corporate masters demand that it do so.

I implore you to look for where the REAL enemies of the people lie … it’s not reds under the beds, or ‘cultural marxists’ brainwashing college kids, or fifth-wheel commies lurking in the Democratic Party … look at the corporatists, financiers, big government, stacked courts, and the right’s globalist agendas.

And a pro tip: globalism comes from the right … the left – including the union movement and other progressive forces – try to resist. The Republicans foster globalisation and the loss of American jobs every single day.

It is always amusing to read Ghoul’s posts, where his neoliberal heros are conspicuously absent from the globalist crowd.

Go back and read his old posts (the ones not removed by admin. for abuse) from a few weeks ago, where he thought the crowd was finally turning in his favor.

I recall someone here mentioning the Cargill/Kaka Man handle is actually a team of paid trolls.

          I suspect they are correct.

Many decades ago, conservatism used to mean conserve society, you know, resist changes. Love your country, its people, be ready to defend it, love and preserve its history and traditions, marry and have kids. Sorry, but I cannot take seriously anyone who wants to argue that the Western world has been growing more conservative in recent years. All western countries are in demographic upheval, they will soon be minority majority, the traditional family is scorned, marriage is going extinct, birth rates are plummeting, the education system is a reeducation camp brainwashing kids that western countries are the scum of the earth and their histories are nothing but rape and plunder (they sort of are, but so is everyone else’s).

I will agree with you that right-wing parties that used to be conservative parties have mostly turned into economically globalist parties. What is good for GM is good for America, corporations at least used to say, but that is dead. Now they arbitraged labor, offshored all production that could be, “fiscally-optimized” all their profits in tax heavens. But that has nothing to do with conservatism. They are now right-wing globalist corporations run rampant. Note that all traditional left-wing parties (democrats in the US, labour in the UK, socialistes in France, liberals in Canada) are on board with that economic program.

But when people talk of cultural marxists, they don’t mean the marxists of old, who fancied that you knew everything there is to know about mankind and its societies throughout history if you just knew that there were 2 kind of people in the world, the capitalists and the bourgeoisie, always the scumbags, and the proletariat, ever their virtuous victims. That was finally discredited with the collapse of the Soviet Union. So a new marxism had to replace the old. Well they came up with new oppressors. They are white men, always and ever oppressors. And racialized groups, always and ever their virtuous victims. There are men, always and ever oppressors. And women, always and ever their virtuous victims. Christians are of course oppressors, and non-christians are always virtuous. Cishet heteronormatives are, of course, always and ever oppressors. And an ever-growing list of sexually confused people, always and ever their virtuous victims. The cultural marxists want to eradicate what is left of the people and traditions of western countries by replacing their white population with immigrants, legal or not, for which their enthusiasm knows no bound. They are globalists from what used to be called the left wing.

The curious thing is that the globalist right-wing of corporations and the globalist left-wing of the cultural marxists get along splendidly. The BLM rioters in US cities are sponsored by Nike. Corporations endorse floats in Gay pride parades, and “progressives” don’t say a word if that corporation lays off 800 workers to move production to Mexico or Vietnam or wherever the proletariat can most be exploited and environment standards are laxest. Heck, there might even open up a Diversity VP and hand out lucrative unconscious racism seminars.

On a personal note, I only had 3 encounters with the police while in the US. Two on the east coast and on on the west coast. All of them involved me asking them for help and all of them were rudely rebuffed. You’re much better off asking a stranger for help than you are appealing to any kind of humanity and kindness with US cops. The police in the US are complete asswipes that have a serious god-complex. They are drunk with power and there’s little to distinguish them from ordinary street thugs and generally unpleasant characters and psychopaths.

          Cops, politicians, the Elite.

          What is the difference?

          • JohnAZ June 7, 2020 at 12:31 pm #

The way to make cops responsive is to only hire local boys and girls.

The mercenary, militarized police forces today have become an equivalent of the army, a big No No in our philosophy.

          • akmofo June 7, 2020 at 12:35 pm #

Cops are stiff and dumb as wood. With politicians and the elite, you can still hold an intelligent pleasant conversation.

        • Janos Skorenzy June 7, 2020 at 1:11 pm #

Yes, the public is their enemy. Kerouac stopped hitchhiking around America, claiming that as one of the reasons. Many have said that the cops simply did not accept the cultural revolution of the 60’s and stopped respecting people at that time. No doubt within cop culture this attitude has been passed down since then.

          • akmofo June 7, 2020 at 1:35 pm #

When in Canada I heard that it is common for the cops there to pick up local drunk Indians on the street, drive them out miles out of town and drop them off in the middle of nowhere to freeze to death in the winter night.

When I look at them cops, I can read their faces for that same kind of Nazi behavior. You can just sense that these people have bad souls.
