How many of you were wondering, as I was, what the suddenly former New York Attorney General, Mr. Schneiderman, might have looked like in a leather bondage get-up with a ball-gag stuffed in his pie-hole? Not the preferred courtroom attire, of course, and a less appetizing image of justice than, say, a blindfolded, half-naked lady holding a sword in one hand and a scale in the other. But that’s how our boy rolled, even while heaping censorious opprobrium (and indictments!) on other big shot alpha dogs for defiling the honor of women.

I sense that with Schneiderman we’ve reached the zenith in this comic phase of American cultural collapse. The same week, Vanity Fair Magazine ran this item about the pop star Rihanna:

Rihanna’s lingerie collection will drop on Friday [today], and there’s one very special addition that is making people lose their minds: her line, Savage x Fenty, will feature handcuffs. [Fenty is Ms. Rihanna’s surname.] Just days after she reimagined the Pope at the Met Gala, Rihanna is reminding us that this is still her week. She told Vogue that it was only natural that Fenty Beauty, which launched last fall, feature a lingerie line for women who want to express agency over their own looks and bodies…. ‘Women should be wearing lingerie for their damn selves,’ Rihanna [told Vogue]. I want people to wear Savage x Fenty and think, I’m a bad bitch.’

Well, handcuffs are fashion accessories for entering prison… and the Marquis deSade did pen much of his personal philosophy in prison… and the women’s penitentiaries are full of bad bitches… so therefore let America celebrate incarceration and sadism! And especially women expressing their personal agency by advertising themselves as… evil? Apparently, a fellow such as Mr. Schneiderman, an avatar of justice, would wish to strike a blow against evil. Thus, beset by one bad bitch after another, he laid the blows of righteous judgment upon the women in his life…! Or something like that.

Forgive me here. I’m trying to imagine how the proverbial Man From Mars might interpret doings in America these days from reading our popular press. Frankly, the part I like best is “reimagining the Pope,” as though it was a great feat of innovation, akin to one of the triumphs of Elon Musk, or Innocent III’s rewrite of canon law — when it was just an act of dress-up. The Met Gala, by the way, an annual costume party thrown by New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, proclaimed its theme this year as “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” — an invitation, if there ever was one, to mingle the sacred and the profane.

Rihanna in Pope get-up

The Martian in me sees America turning into something like a Fellini movie, a panorama of fabulous excess and sinister fantasy, with the more malign forces of commerce propelling the garbage barge to ever darker extremes at the edge of a flat earth. On one part of the edge stands President Trump, all greatness and little goodness; and on the other edge stand characters like Eric Schneiderman and Harvey Weinstein, deposed champions of social justice — now cultural blood-brothers in the Sexual Predators Hall of Infamy. Mr. Schneiderman was all set to drag Mr. Weinstein, figuratively speaking, over several miles of broken glass and old Gillette blue blades in the state courts, and now it looks like the former NY AG himself may submit to a death of a thousand cuts by civil litigation, or maybe even a trip to one of his old criminal courtrooms, if the ever-vengeful Governor Andrew Cuomo has his wicked way.

If America were an X-rated billiard parlor, I’d think it had run the table on political sex stories, with nothing but the eight-ball of doom left on the table, and a wrathful deity — the Pope’s boss, shall we say — standing there chalking up his cue stick. When he sinks that last shot, a new game will get underway. I believe it will have to do with financial markets and currencies, and a lot more will hang on the outcome. The break itself should be a doozy — all those colored balls banging into each other and dropping into oblivion.

The image of Jebus playing pool is funny.

I think a better image is one of a retarded monkey playing with a dead man switch connected to our banking system.

All symptoms of a culture in terminal decline. We either outright collapse or we see a resurgence of a hyper-right wing party that attempts to end the degeneracy.

Which brings us to the question of who plays Hitler in this farce.

“What good are the laws when money is King, and the poor are always wrong ? And even scoffers, who mock the times, will sell the truth for a song.
The courts are an auction where justice is sold.
The judge who presides bangs a gavel of gold.”

Petronius (author of Satyricon 54-68 A.D.)

JHK- good reference to De Sade. Recently, I finally slogged through “120 Days of Sodom”, and was amazed at the overt criminal subtext. If such people existed in 18th century France, could they not, on an even more sophisticated level, exist in todays Empire?
How much of the story was metaphor and allegory ? How much was true ?
Perhaps Le Marquis was imprisoned for what he knew?
Perhaps the work is historically so obscure, not due to its prurient nature, but due to its revelatory capacity?

Thank you, again, for all that you do.

      • Luhrenloup May 11, 2018 at 4:50 pm #

This from Balzac’s ‘Black Sheep’ published in 1842:
“New York, a place where speculation and individualism are carried to the highest level, where the brutality of self-interest reaches the point of cynicism and where a man, fundamentally isolated from the rest of mankind, finds himself compelled to rely on his own strength, and at every instant to be the self appointed judge of his own action, a city in which politeness does not exist . . . with people of this kind only two attitudes towards life are possible: they either believe or disbelieve; they either have all the gentlemanly virtues, or they surrender themselves to each and every requirement of necessity. They then get into the habit of exalting into necessity the slightest self interest, the most fleeting whim of passion. Such a theory can take a man far.”
Rude, crude, and rapacious, plus ça change.

KInda makes you yearn for the good old days when the Roman Catholic Church ruled the world. When its pederast Priests raped the neighborhood’s boys, its thieving Cardinals raped whole towns for gold solver and jewels, and its Pope waged war on the world and the truth. The good old days never left. We’ve just been made blind to it all by our Vatican media projecting its muppets on their stage.

    • shotho May 11, 2018 at 10:08 am #

The final denouement of the world’s banking system is well underway. When it becomes apparent, it will concentrate our attention on more immediate problems than what a ‘bad bitch’ wears to a non-event.
God is indeed missing from a culture that thinks it can replace Him with its own gods. How is that working out?

      • draupnir May 11, 2018 at 10:28 am #

That’s because, given a choice, we always prefer gods of our own making.

        • SpeedyBB May 11, 2018 at 10:56 am #

The Abrahamic God is obviously a ‘god of our own making’: an insane Bronze-Age tyrant, ascended to His throne through rivers of blood (brothers, uncles, maybe even wife, father, child), paranoid beyond belief (for good reason) as He demands ever more love, fear and obedience. From His fallen children.

It’s all right there in the Old Testicle. Not a very clever creation but most likely a pastiche of various brutal rulers of that age.

          • akmofo May 11, 2018 at 11:12 am #

YeHeVeH is a god of Jewish experience and history. There was no throne to ascend, only Pharaonic egos of jackasses to drown.

          • draupnir May 11, 2018 at 11:29 am #

That’s because he was a tribal war god before he rose to his present position.

Israel=Isis-Ra-El. Judaism is a slick compilation and reworking of the Babylonian and Egyptian religions by people who probably didn’t believe in any of it. But people need religion and shared belief brings power.

          • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 2:16 pm #

“But people need religion and shared belief brings power.”

Shared belief primarily brings trust, but not always justified trust. I read an interesting set of articles some years ago in the New Scientist, in a special issue called ‘the God issue’.

One of the articles posited that religion developed in the first place because, once people outgrew those tiny communities where everyone knew everyone else and you therefore couldn’t cheat, a shared belief in a deity and his assumed retribution for bad behaviour allowed people to trust other people they traded with, even if they didn’t know them personally.

And conflicting religions, or even denominations within religions observably have the expected opposite effect, e.g. Catholic/Protestant or Sunni/Shia.

Shared belief can also bring stupidity and evil. Have you read Shardik? It’s a warning.

But every believer believes only their belief is the right one, even though they only believe in it because they were born into it in most cases. Nothing new under the sun…

        • Janos Skorenzy May 11, 2018 at 5:34 pm #

Cult is the root of Culture – or getting people on the same page so there can be all kind of collective endeavors and a common moral and legal code, be it written or oral as in the case of the Ancient Celts or modern Gypsies.

Oh, you’re quite welcome. If you like a prescription for that Vatican stupor I’d be glad to provide it for you. For example, part of your medical rehabilitation would be to learn about the hundreds of thousands of Vatican Passports provided to Nazi criminals fleeing Europe to Latin America. Another would be to learn the long list of Nazis and other such villains awarded Vatican Crosses for their most excellent behaviour. Of-course, we haven’t even touched the issue of diplomatic political and financial support the Vatican gave the Nazis. I could go on, but I have a hunch you rather not know these things about your infallible Poperi and the criminals that run his Church.

          • Sean Coleman May 12, 2018 at 5:53 pm #

At the risk of causing offence, I think I will decline your kind offer.

Can I ask, are you a Roman Catholic yourself?

          • akmofo May 12, 2018 at 8:28 pm #

It’s amazing how the Vatican demands everyone confess their sins, but never in its whole history has done so with regards to itself. The Poperi is sinless, isn’t that right Sean!?

          • Walter B May 13, 2018 at 5:18 pm #

Well akmofo as a man that was raised Catholic, attended 5 years of Catholic School, graduated from a Catholic boys high school and went on to become a Knight of Columbus and a Lector at a Catholic church with a five thousand seat capacity (full only at Midnight Easter masses of course), I can tell you that the Great Deceiver that is the Vatican is real. For anyone that looks into such institutions in detail it becomes clear that all institutions of man are flawed and some are even outright evil. I read a biography of Martin Luther (not Martin Luther King) and if anyone can do this and still not realize that selling express tickets to Heaven is an outright lie and blasphemy in addition to all of the other evil crap they pulled over the centuries, well there is no hope for them.

I would never bash Catholics for their faith, but the Vatican is a totally different issue. Some say that the pope is the king of the North and that the leader of the Zionists is the King of the South and that together, today, they work to carry out Satan’s plan. I cannot argue this for it all makes too much sense. Never give up on the Creator, but have NO faith in the institutions of man, they are easily corrupted and the longer they are around and the more assets they manage to accumulate, the more corrupt and downright evil they all become.

          • GreenAlba May 13, 2018 at 7:53 pm #

I always had you down as a Protestant, Walter, so that’s interesting. My husband was educated by the Christian Brothers, in Ireland, but says he wasn’t pretty enough to attract the wrong kind of attention, which some of his classmates did. He left it all behind a long time ago, but reckons the superstition never entirely leaves you.

Re tickets to heaven, when I was married to my first (French) husband, we used to regularly stay in a tiny village in the Vercors where his mother’s family had lived.

In the village church there was a collection box which claimed to be a collection for ‘souls in purgatory’. I was still religious then, though not a Catholic, and I can’t tell you the outrage I felt at the very idea someone could think that money paid for a priest to pray for people already dead (that he didn’t even know) could bounce them from ‘purgatory’ into ‘heaven’. Money. Seriously. The stuff Christ allegedly told his disciples not to store up on earth.

Kudos for thinking for yourself anyway, Walter, even if we don’t share the metaphysical beliefs any more.

          • Walter B May 13, 2018 at 8:42 pm #

We had the Brothers of the Sacred Heart GA, and I am fortunate to have been instilled with Faith in the Creator from my beginning, but I did not need some other human telling me what that meant., as Martin Luther himself said, God speaks directly to all of us, we need not pay homage to some other human that claims to hold the keys to the Kingdom.

If you are in fact a Scot, we have much in common as I as a descend of Germans on both sides have always appreciated the Scots as they had issues with the English and I did, after all, always love Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull, above every other music besides Beethoven. And Scotland IS quite beautiful even if it does lack hardwood forests, especially the Isle of Skye where Ian calls home. A beautiful place indeed.

            .

      • SpeedyBB May 13, 2018 at 1:36 am #

‘…hit the bottom…’ I suspect considerably deeper down.

For the next act of ‘Let’s have fun with religious tradition’ outrage I suggest Rihanna and the Met supporting cast put on false beards and drape themselves in prayer beads and do a combo burkha / thobe & bisht and start hollering about Allah while doing an exotic dance.

That should definitely lead to some creative excitement. It’d be a BOMB (British, not American).

  5. GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 10:20 am #

Yes, when religion is mocked, especially by its own adherents, there is very little to restrain any indecency. Dostoevsky said it best; “Where there is no God, everything is permitted.” He was a prophet in his own time, because thirty years later the Russian Revolution was unleashed and we’ve been sliding down the rat hole ever since.

        • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 2:27 pm #

“Yes, when religion is mocked, especially by its own adherents, there is very little to restrain any indecency. ”

I think you may be projecting, shotho, in terms of what you feel would happen if you were not restrained.

The UK is often described as a post-religious society. The US amazes the rest of the Western world with its religiosity. And yet the weirdest excesses seem to happen mostly over your way.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 11, 2018 at 5:31 pm #

And UK is rapidly dying along with the rest of secular Western Europe. Surely you don’t think you all are going to secularize the Muslims!? They are going to take over and make you into dhimmis, 2nd class citizens, if you don’t convert.

          • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 5:58 pm #

            Janos

You haven’t explained how the 2.8 million Muslims in the UK are going to take over the remaining 60-odd million non-Muslims, but I won’t hold my breath.

And if the UK ‘dies’ it will (barring war) most likely be because of a massive lack of resources following the breakdown of the global financial system, so you’ll have to excuse me for not worrying too much about those 2.8 million Muslims, who will suffer along with the rest of us.

          • hmuller May 11, 2018 at 6:25 pm #

Janos understands the Muslim situation better than these weak, naive, brainwashed, globalist Europeans who think they owe every refugee rape gang a new home with guaranteed income and health care.

Based on history, Muslims won’t wait until they are a majority to seize Europe; this isn’t about the ballot box. They are bold, young, and strong. They may be largely low IQ but they understand the blood lust of conquest. When they reach 10 to 20% of the population, they will reach out and take over.

The debilitated, aging native stock like Green Alba will be gone before they can sort it all out over a good cup of tea.

          • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 6:46 pm #

Thank you, hmuller, that was a lovely story. I feel educated now.

Incidentally, my husband worked for several years in a hospital in Baghdad, among a cultured and refined people. He then worked briefly in Saskatchewan – the culture shock was enormous, but not in the way someone like you would imagine.

Many of his patients in the latter location couldn’t have placed Vancouver on a map, let alone Baghdad or even Iraq.

          • hmuller May 11, 2018 at 7:11 pm #

            Green Alba,

First, let me say I’m totally against Neo-Con US policy in fomenting wars in the mid-east and elsewhere. I believe in leaving people alone where they live, and where they should stay. And they need to leave us alone. Good fences make for good neighbors

I’m sure there are fine, cultured people in Bagdad. But since you have such an anecdotal approach to analyzing history, maybe you remember the years following the US invasion of 2003. 100 to 200 people (innocent hostages) were murdered every night as Shia and Sunni factions contended for power. Many first had their eyes drilled out with power tools before being killed.

But by all means invite more Muslims into you country. They could tell you such stories over tea.

          • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 7:36 pm #

I’m not inviting anyone to my country, hmuller. But I’m not neurotic about the ones who are already here either.

Re your anecdote, all societies contain psychopaths. And group psychology, where people abandon person responsibility for their actions, works even among Americans, as we know from My Lai, another ‘anecdote’.

It’s odd that you think they’re ‘mostly low IQ’, though. Lots of ours are doctors and lawyers.

          • hmuller May 11, 2018 at 7:50 pm #

            Green Alba,

I should re-emphasize that I fully blame the US Neo-Con Globalists for creating such a mess in Iraq. They stirred up a hornet’s nest there and everywhere else their evil hands interfere. But you have to admit there was a lot of underlying violent potential in people who use Black & Deckers to drill out 200 eyeballs a night.

Invading a country (Iraq, Vietnam, etc) and making war never brings out the best in either the invaders (Abu Ghraib, My Lai) or in the invadees.

As far as over generalizing and calling people stupid, what was it again you implied about Saskatchewaners not being able to find cities on a map. Lamentable as that may be, they don’t drill out each others eyeballs very often

          • Janos Skorenzy May 11, 2018 at 8:29 pm #

How? Most countries in Western Europe have a below replacement birthrate for White natives. The new peoples from Islam have big birth rates. That’s certainly an inevitability, is it not? And in the shorter term, Whites will be old and they will be young. What does that mean? Can you say “army”? The French armed forces will be majority Muslim in one generation.

          • GreenAlba May 12, 2018 at 9:08 am #

            hmuller

‘Fair cop’ re the Saskatchewan anecdote, although my husband did have to listen to racist comments from many of these people where some referred to the Iraqis and other people as ‘monkeys’ when the Iraqis were infinitely more educated and cultured than themselves.

And yes, I agree it takes quite a world view (or level of psychopathy) to use a drill on people’s eyeballs. The IRA did tend to focus on knees rather than eyeballs, so you could usually still see while you hobbled about, traumatised, for the rest of your life, assuming your leg didn’t have to be amputated.

And that was just their version of ‘law and order’ – they did it to their own as well as to their enemies. Even sleeping with the wife of an IRA member or stealing without the IRA’s permission could get you kneecapped. In one case they hammered a spike into a young man’s knees as a variation on the usual shooting.

…I suppose as long as they leave eyes alone they can’t compare – and does it help to compare anyway?

Still, my main point is that the vast, vast majority of Muslims in the UK are just normal, law-abiding citizens with high aspirations for their children.

And if immigrants (as opposed to citizens) commit any kind of violent crime, I see no problem in sending them back to where they came from.

You’ll be please to know that the UK has stopped child tax credits for children beyond the second one, so that will have some effect on the propensity to produce large families.

If you think it won’t make any difference to Muslim families because they earn too much for it to matter, then at least you can’t also argue that they live on benefits, rather than working.

            So, whichever…

Arguing about whether Muslims are violent jihadists or peace loving scamps is really missing the point and is, at least IMHO, a waste of words. Even Muslims admit that there are many of their ranks that are violent and who preach violence against all others even if it is just 10% of the total. That still makes for 200M of them. Preventing any of the violent ones from emigrating into a Western society with the intent to do harm is the problem that none of the progressives care to deal with because they are so easily offended. I am unaware of any other religious groups (besides the Jesuits) that advocate violence other than the jihadists, so yes, the problem seem to be centered around them. But modern society cannot accomplish anything anymore in the way of solutions to problems, so I think we are just going to have to sit here and wait to be murdered. Let’s try to do it quietly, ok?.

Humanity has always been degenerate, blasphemous, risqué, sadistic, and hypocritical.
And people have a difficult time accepting this.
So they go to great lengths to express piety, demureness, purity, and aloofness. They want to appear to be better.
But nature and essence cannot be restrained by cassocks, vestiments, oaths, pledges, prayers, and judicial robes.
    Nature bears, and beats, all.

We’ve been this way since forever, we all know this. So why don’t we just accept our imperfections and move on, rather than moaning about them. Let’s concentrate on improving ourselves, individually. I know I did. I’m not God, so I’m flawed like everyone else, but I have gotten to be a better person through much effort. It is not possible to accept evil into a society for once you do it corrupts the whole damned lot. Those that prey on other human lives must be removed from a healthy society lest they feed upon it to its destruction. How to get rid of them and what to do with them is the topic of another discussion, but once you accept them into the fold it is doom on.

Very good! God as a cautionary totem to at the very least keep the uninitiated in line until they are capable of perceiving something greater. Fear is certainly not the highest truth, but it’s the ground floor for those neophytes aspiring to progress up any spiritual ladder. Nietzsche tacitly recognized this when he opined that “God is dead, and we have killed him.”

Isn’t it really only a matter of time before a man who chooses to become romantically involved with a social justice warrior type is going to experience some personal blowback? I don’t mean blown on his back by that. Schneiderman choices in women could be partly at fault here. If an excuse for hitting women were possible which it is not, ninety nine point nine tenths of the time. Four women says Schneiderman gets slap happy. Were it only two and you did not know the guy, his unreported abuse could just be a case of he-said she-said and sanity would say move on. Perhaps somebody got scorned? Being wrong would not be acceptable so you’d withhold judgment. Four says hang em my vigilante!

On a serious note this whole #metoo madness teaches me that justice can not exist when it is not immediately sought. Justice is not an external property of the universe but is mans remedy for perceived imbalance. An imposition of morality after the fact into a situation which lacked an appropriate consequence for a truth. The blindfold on the lady says that such demands can not wait for years until an alleged victim feels like talking because it has become the popular thing to do. Truth hidden obscures with time so it is an injustice and insult to justice to not seek justice as soon as a need for justice appears. Say that 10 times. #metoo insults the woman trying in spite of her blindfold to see which way the scale tips because it rusts the pivot on the scale stuck.

    • Ol' Scratch May 11, 2018 at 10:46 am #

Uncommonly good scratches in the dirt today, dog! Delayed appeals for justice followed by trial by internet forums does not a sane society make. Especially with government sponsored (and otherwise) super snoopers now just hitting their stride. Won’t be long before they’ll have enough electronic data on all of us to compromise our very existence. Powerful white men are primarily in the crosshairs now, but eventually everyone will have their turn in the barrell too. A society thus deconstructed is literally at war with itself – the proverbial war of all against all.

      K-Dog

“Justice is not an external property of the universe but is mans remedy for perceived imbalance.”

I like that. I think it’s one of the neatest ways I’ve see it expressed.

However, I’m not sure about ‘ justice can not exist when it is not immediately sought’.

I took considerable interest in the Klaus Barbie trial, not least because I’d lived for four years not far from Lyon during the previous decade. Memories in that area were long.

Barbie was indicted in 1984 for crimes committed as Gestapo chief in Lyon between 1942 and 1944. Later trials of suspects came a cropper when judged finally judged that memories were now too old to be relied upon. So there were cases where Justice was not done, because it could not be done. The Law cannot always dispense Justice – it can only dispense the Law. But I’m still glad Simon Wiesenthal doggedly pursued Justice, all the same, even though it could not be sought immediately. Otherwise how would people learn that you won’t necessarily get away with it just because time passes?

None of which means I support trial by social media in any form. But sometimes people have genuine reasons for not feeling they could say anything at the time. I don’t comment much on the #MeToo phenomenon because I don’t follow the detail of it, but I’ve seen even grown men break down talking about their memories of abuse by sports coaches and the like that they couldn’t tell anyone about at the time – or did tell someone about (even the police) and were roundly ignored.

      • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 1:35 pm #

        *judges* finally judged…

        • K-Dog May 11, 2018 at 4:29 pm #

The salient fact is if justice could be persued at the time or not. When a woman chooses not to persue justice when she could have done so she gives up the right to do so later.

Vengeance may be a dish best served cold but justice never is. Be honest with which gives you delight, is it justice or the electric thrill of vengeance. Justice is as much about stopping a perpetrator which can’t wait. To think justice only involves a victim where a late payment may indeed balance accounts received is not what justice is all about.

          • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 6:20 pm #

I don’t get delight out of any of it, K-Dog – I couldn’t even tell you who’s involved in most of the stuff. It happens on the periphery of my consciousness.

I’m just saying there are reasons why people don’t always speak out at the time and some of them are understandable. Justice can be as much about the truth coming out as anything else – it’s not always about accounts being settled.

I’ve seen big burly footballers breaking down in tears of relief when the truth has come out about abuse they and others suffered in their youth in football clubs.

The greatest fear women have about men is sexual or physical assault. The greatest fear men have about women is sexual humiliation.

The #metoo movement is primarily about physical and social safety. Unless you are a woman, you cannot grasp that reality.

      • Ol' Scratch May 11, 2018 at 3:13 pm #

By sexually shaming possibly innocent men long after the fact in the unmerciful court of public humiliation? Seems like little more than an arms race to me. Jr. HS politics on steroids. Notice that the men who survive it best are unrepentant, incorrigible, and usually extremely powerful to boot. That’s a curious outcome for something with allegedly noble intentions.

      • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 3:19 pm #

        I quite agree, JS.

I’ve been lucky to have felt reasonably safe most of my life. However, I did once have to run away from a young man in France (when I was also young). I heard his footsteps behind me, as I walked over a pedestrian area around where I lived at the time, in what had been the Olympic Village.

It was broad daylight and I was headed for the local hypermarket. I was vaguely aware that there was someone walking behind me and vaguely waiting for him to pass me by. But he didn’t. He caught up with me and started very obviously walking in step with me. I started to be scared. Then he moved round in front of me and stopped me. I turned and ran and he ran after me. Fortunately he didn’t catch me up but I didn’t dare go out again for some time. To this day I’m quite conscious of men’s footsteps behind me in quiet places, although I don’t let it make me neurotic about going about my business. I like to stick to places where there are people, though.

On a less scary note, I witnessed a sexual assault about a year ago. Some would call it minor, I suppose, if it didn’t happen to them or if they were male.

I was sitting on the bus as it waited for people to get on and off. A young couple were standing waiting to get on while an old man with a walking stick carefully got off. Then, as the young woman stepped onto the bus, the old codger turned round and stuck his hand up her skirt.

She and her boyfriend were aghast. But they both looked round and saw an old man with a walking stick and presumably thought ‘What are you going to do? Drag an old man to a police station?’ I felt for her. She got on the bus and I wanted to smile to her in sympathy but chose not to in case she misinterpreted it as something else. She must have felt humiliated as most of us had seen it – the bus driver had a prime view.

So a short while later I logged the incident on the Everyday Sexism website, because I felt that was the least I could do.

As I say, many would say that was ‘trivial’, but it lets a young woman know what her ‘place’ is in society, especially if it happens more than once. And it was interesting that they deferred to old age and its supposed fragility, even in the form of a dirty old man.

Oh, for heaven sake. Those women who complained about Weinstein knew perfectly well what their preferment was going to cost them. They paid the price because they knew that there were women just behind them who would pay it if they did not and they got what they paid for. I don’t think they have any cause for complaint. Schneiderman’s women stayed with him for many months. It’s a little late in the day for them to be calling foul, and I know what it’s like to live with an abusive alcoholic It’s a man’s world. If you want to compete with a man in his world well, boys play rough..

  9. JohnAZ May 11, 2018 at 10:38 am #

There is a real social conundrum here.

Women are starting to exert power on the social sexual stage. What do they want ? RESPECT! They want men to take on responsibility relative to sexual behavior, i.e. Fight down their instinctual propensity to breed. In today’s world, this is a noble cause. Men have a long way to go, as evidenced by the daily updates of abuse and harassment.

HOWEVER LADIES. With freedom comes responsibility. Our host is scratching his head over the behavior of women. If you want men to be more restrained sexually, then quit dressing, acting and merchandizing like sexual objects. You want respect, quit glorifying a whore like Stormy Daniels just because her lawyer wants to use her against Trump. You want restraints, restrain your own tendency to let it all hang out. The clothes I see many women wear are called advertising. Think about it, cleavage exposing tops, high heels to make your legs look sexy that ruins your feet lifelong, skirts and shorts so short your butts are visible, Rihanna’s lingerie, etc.

Mothers, teach your daughters feminine restraint, women in power or in the public light, be modest. Men may be much more restrained without the constant visual reminders that some women are “for sale”. And it is a real statement of our society that these women are given credence.

    • K-Dog May 11, 2018 at 10:55 am #

Stormy Daniels would like to bring down Trump. If she wore a belt which we all know she does not, she could have no notch bigger. Much bigger than 300 K which only really buys and pays off the average American home and maybe a couple of cars. Don’t accuse Stormy of being used but rather forgiver her for not being able to resist the irresistible. To go down as history as the woman who brought down Trump. With movie and book rights of course. Can you really blame her? You’d do it too.

      • K-Dog May 11, 2018 at 10:56 am #

Oh, my God! I like men the way they are; the hairy, smelly, nasty, brutish things. I like them with chest hair and pubic hair that starts at their navels. I like all those external signs of high testosterone levels, the big Adams apples and deep voice, the broad shoulders, the deep chest and big hands. I like the strength in their arms. I like the way they smell when they’ve been working and are pungent. I could just wallow in that, and if a man is a little scary, well the sensations of fear and arousal are so close they’re almost indistinguishable for women. I’m not interested in their respect, I prefer their lust, and if I need to talk about feelings, i’ll call up a woman friend. Those ridiculous women in the “me too” movement apparently have no idea what men are for.

I worry about what this trend may accomplish if it carries on too long. Over the last 200,000 years women selected for those characteristic in men that were most valuable to them for the survival of the species, and I think messing around with that is ill-advised.

“smelly, nasty, brutish things.” – draupnir

            ===========

I would never have suspected that women were attracted to such until a few decades ago:

I used to hang in the backroom of a bar with two 4′ x 8′ pool tables and a wall rack of warped and often tipless cue sticks. (I carried my own two-piece.) The room drew a mostly male crowd but a handful of women as well. Unlike the men the women played pool rather halfheartedly as it was not their main purpose for being there. (Notice that even amongst the top female pool players that you might see on TV it would be an extreme rarity to see one beat a top male player. Why would that be when there is no issue concerning strength, speed or endurance? It has something to do with competitiveness and risk-taking bred into the male……….but I digress.)

Among the females who attended there, and aside from two lesbians…a pretty one with red hair, great athletic legs and butt and her squeeze who obviously played the male role and snuffed any speculation as to ‘who’s on top?’…..the one with the legs signaled with a frown that she did not like me mentioning her great legs and this was my first clue I was dealing with an unexpected sexual orientation issue……..but, again, I digress.

So, as I say, aside from these two lesbians and other women not relevant to my tale, there was a tall pretty blond (probably Clairol)…we don’t get that many Danes or Icelanders in Central Jersey, who was rather flat-chested. She occasionally wore a sweatshirt emblazoned with the words “The objects under this shirt are larger than they appear.” (I’d estimate the female of the species becomes aware of the power of breasts somewhere between 5 and 8 years old.)

As to this tall hetero blond, somehow the subject of female/male attraction came up and to my surprise she did NOT go for well dressed and groomed spiffy types, not that this dive attracted any. As she put it, “I like a guy with dirt under his fingernails.”

“How bout hair on the back? Isn’t that just too simian? ”

No. It’s lovely. But my fluffy husband tells me it’s incredibly itchy so he periodically shaves it off in hot weather, which is less nice if you’re used to the fluff. Each to their own, eh? I believe the current pornographic culture frowns on hair on either sex, which seems to have affected the zeitgeist. I’ve read (from men) that it’s because they can’t see the action clearly enough and men really like to see the action. But I’m not into voyeurism and would happily wish it away, so I can’t vouch personally.

However, even though my other half served for years in the Irish Territorials (not quite the Marines, I know) to pay his way through medical school, I doubt he’d be much use at his age should a lack of peace break out in our area, despite his mildly simian characteristics. He’s a very gentle, non-violent person. So I don’t give too much credence to pop-evolutionary factoids when it comes to real life. But he’d possibly be better at negotiating, which is a useful skill too.

          • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 1:49 pm #

My husband tells me that hairy bodies often (usually?) go with bald heads in men, since both are testosterone related (think Sean Connery, who famously wore a toupée for his 007 films).

My other half is unusual in that he has the pelt but not even a tiny bald patch, although he’s been grey for years. I have one brother who’s seriously pelty (even down to the hobbit-like feet, which is a bit much), but he’s gone down the Sean Connery route in terms of his pate.

I do like hair on a man’s head, I must admit. Although if your loved one goes bald, why would you care? ‘Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds’, as yer man famously said.

And a good head of thick white hair is nice on an older gent, even if it doesn’t inspire lust 🙂

The US if funny about baldness. It has been said that a bald man would never get to be president. Hence the mental Trumpian comb-over, perhaps. And yet, you had Kojak and now you have er… Bruce Willis the Later 🙂

Ha! There’s a silverback in a Japanese Zoo that has the women atwitter, though they’ve apparently mostly given up on men, prefering anime porn. They line up to get a look. He’s quite a handsome fellow. He has surprisingly human-looking eyes (about 10% of gorillas show white around their irises).

Males have been chasing since the age of four and at 65 I am quite tired of it. If I am interested it you, you will know. Until then, please leave me alone. ESPECIALLY at work.

John, it’s up to us men to restrain our impulses, not shift responsibility onto women. I love the exposed look on women and it does turn me on. That feeling I cannot help, being a male. But I don’t act on my feeling. That’s what’s called self-control. Most men don’t assault women. What you’re suggesting is analogous to gun control – should some rampaging nut cases prevent all responsible people from owning guns?

      • Janos Skorenzy May 11, 2018 at 1:09 pm #

Good analogy. So you’re against gun control? If so, glad to hear it.

We’re going crazy with the sexual license though. Hispanic women think wearing sexy clothes is just dressing up – and do so even for church. This mentality is spreading everywhere. I mean they don’t even know the effect there causing it seems. Or don’t care? They should. Padre Pio used to throw women out of church, telling them to get some clothes on.

Intentionality. Part of being responsible is knowing what you are doing and choosing appropriately. Being sexual isn’t always appropriate – certainly not for worship.

        • draupnir May 11, 2018 at 1:38 pm #

This sort of thing is a pendulum. A period of licentiousness is always followed in history by the pendulum swinging the other way and you end up with public puritanism, which is equally unsatisfactory. The licentiousness does not of course go away, it simply goes underground.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 11, 2018 at 2:09 pm #

And the turning point is exhaustion. Restraint is sexy after all since the imagination is arbiter of lust and the brain is the most important sexual organ. So a society might naturally have a pole shift – assuming test tube conditions of isolation. Alas, invasion from without or revolution from within often aborts the process or speeds it up in favor of puritanism.

Decadents are notoriously bad warriors after all. And Camille Paglia is the only Liberal who understand anything about the erotic.

    • hmuller May 11, 2018 at 11:59 am #

I hear you, JohnAZ. In fact, I’m advising Hillary to market her always attractive, multi-colored, Mao-like pant suits at Wal-Mart. That should turn down the lust level out there. LOL

      • GreenAlba May 12, 2018 at 9:46 am #

You could encourage colour coding according to political preference in the run-up to elections. Combined with slogans on T-shirts it could make political campaigning so much less shouty. People could just glare at one another instead. And the pollsters’ lives would be easier – they’d just need to use satellite imagery and computer enhancement to mash the numbers.

  10. hmuller May 11, 2018 at 11:14 am #

If I had read to you today’s headlines a year ago, you would call me a crazy conspiracy theorist. Well, hear me now and believe me later. Many (probably most) of the recent sex scandals are not completely unrelated but part of an under-ground culture.

There is a network of globalist agenda driven and publicly respectable NGO’s existing within a pyramid-like hierarchy. To control members and maintain secrecy, black mail and death threats are used. Sex, pedophilia, torture, human sacrifice, cannibalism, along with Satanic rituals play a role.

Our controlled propaganda mainstream media cannot ignore all the breaking revelations, but they do their best to twist and spin the news. After all, they serve the same masters.

For example, a couple years ago, the network news reported briefly, and one time only, on the UK’s Jimmy Saville scandal. With a wink, a nod, and a smirk, the network anchor implied Saville had been a naughty boy in hot tubs with 19 year olds. No, actually it’s more like nine year old girls and boys. And not one word about his role as a child procurer for the British royals.

Now, they are presenting NXIVM as a “sex cult’; as if it were all just a bunch of bored, consensual suburbanites swapping wives!. No, no, it’s about people including children imprisoned and tortured – no consent! The MSM can soft pedal and spin all they like, but the truth is getting out, i.e. most of our ruling elite are sick and evil bastard perverts.

Progressives make me laugh. They always insist they have the greater wisdom and moral stature and then as regularly as the rising and setting sun we get revelations of sexual abuse and depravity from ostensibly progressive men, embedded in progressive organizational structures like ticks.

But, unlike ticks, they aren’t bugs but rather features. How could it possibly be otherwise? What else could come out of the “anything goes” mentality that progressives have been pushing for decades? Didn’t they do away with behavioral boundaries, especially of the sexual variety, a long, long time ago? Remember the sexual revolution?

Remember women’s lib? Remember how women aren’t supposed to be bound by the same codes of conduct as their grandmothers? Remember how women can go anywhere, do anything, say anything, be anything, that women are equal to men?

What else can come out of the insistence that men and women are equal and alike, that apparent differences between the sexes are because of social conditioning? Aren’t women wired up by biology the same as men? Wouldn’t girls just love to play with trucks if only enlightened parents would let them? Or play little league baseball or go to the front lines in war-time?

Wouldn’t it follow from the men = women ethos that women fuck like men? Women MUST fuck like men and women MUST be as sex-obsessed as men because isn’t this what enlightened publications like Cosmo tell us over and over, decade after decade?

So what exactly is the problem when some progressive male approaches a progressive woman? Don’t women and men act and think alike? Doesn’t she have the same sexual responses and proclivities as the male? Doesn’t she get as hot at the prospect of having sex every bit as fast as the man, doesn’t she get the female equivalent of a hard-on? I mean, if these things aren’t hard-wired by evolution as progressives tell us all the time then the sexual responses of women should, in an enlightened and liberated society, be just like those of men. What’s the problem here? Haven’t we had generations of progressivism? Was it all for nothing? Or is it possible that progressives are just as full of shit about this as they are about damn near everything else?

    • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 12:40 pm #

      Volodya

My husband and I are not the same. I like the manly things about him (well, maybe not all of them). But the day he tells me we’re not equal human beings (as opposed to not the same) will be the day we part company.

“So what exactly is the problem when some progressive male approaches a progressive woman? Doesn’t she have the same sexual responses and proclivities as the male? Doesn’t she get as hot at the prospect of having sex every bit as fast as the man, doesn’t she get the female equivalent of a hard-on? ”

Maybe she doesn’t get as hot at the prospect of HIM, just as the man isn’t getting all hot and bothered about women that HE’s not interested in. Having a sex drive doesn’t mean you are attracted to everyone or that everyone is attracted to you.

Me, I’m not all that ‘progressive’. But I’m not that ‘conservative’ either – except environmentally, whereas a whole lot of ‘conservatives’ are suddenly very ‘progressive’, if there’s a dollar to be made from not conserving. I don’t think caricatures of either side help, though, so I’ll give individual conservatives the benefit of the doubt until they prove me wrong.

      • Janos Skorenzy May 11, 2018 at 1:14 pm #

Maybe she doesn’t get as hot at the prospect of HIM, just as the man isn’t getting all hot and bothered about women that HE’s not interested in. Having a sex drive doesn’t mean you are attracted to everyone or that everyone is attracted to you.

Doesn’t sound like you’re into your husband that much. Sad.

        • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 1:33 pm #

“Doesn’t sound like you’re into your husband that much. Sad.”

Could you actually explain why my not being turned on by a random stranger would have anything in the world to do with my husband?

I already gave you an award for non-sequitur of the year some time ago. I think this one gives you one for non-sequitur of the century. Or just one for utter desperation.

          • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 1:33 pm #

And I’m into my husband because he’s the utter opposite of you, thankfully. Among many other reasons.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 11, 2018 at 2:01 pm #

So why does “she” equate not being into HIM with the man not being into women HE’s not into?

The feminine mind is naturally convoluted and is a difficult one for new prosecutors to deal with. But with experience, they reveal themselves to the discerning eye.

A few women overcome their natural convolution and only they should be allowed vote. But of course, it would be scandalous at how few they are – and they would be utterly hated by other women, so it’s best to just can the whole thing. My innovation, in the name of fairness, would be to let women run for office. Qualified men would be able to spot the rare thinkers among them.

          • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 2:49 pm #

Janos, with the nonsense you come out with sometimes, most rational people would not allow you to vote.

You are confused. I can forgive you that.

Firstly, you have not explained why Random Progressive Woman not appreciating the particular random advances of Random Progressive Man has anything whatever to do with my husband or my attraction to him.

Secondly, just because a (random) woman has a high libido, following Volodya’s example, it doesn’t follow that she’s going to jump any equally libidinous random male, although she might be happy to do so with some OTHER equally libidinous male. I don’t see why that’s even confusing, but as I said, I forgive your confusion. Men’s thought processes can be ‘convoluted’ 🙂 .

“it would be scandalous at how few they are…”

Did I say ‘convoluted’? Maybe I meant inchoate.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 11, 2018 at 5:27 pm #

Yeah but that’s not what you said. You talked about a woman not being into her husband – just as he wasn’t into women he wasn’t into (a bizarre repetition btw).

          • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 6:24 pm #

            Janos

I said nothing whatever about a woman not being into her husband. Your reading is getting as bad as your writing.

I was responding to Volodya who was talking about Random Progressive Woman and Random Progressive Man. I saw nothing about them being married to one another.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 11, 2018 at 8:45 pm #

Here’s what you said. Let the readers decide. You can read it again and try to figure out what you were trying to say:

Maybe she doesn’t get as hot at the prospect of HIM, just as the man isn’t getting all hot and bothered about women that HE’s not interested in. Having a sex drive doesn’t mean you are attracted to everyone or that everyone is attracted to you.

          • GreenAlba May 12, 2018 at 9:56 am #

            Janos

I can see the comment the same as you can. What I don’t see is how you’re relating it to anyone’s husband, let alone mine.

*HE* and *HIM* refers to Random Progressive Man, who is hypothetically making overtures to *HER* which refers to Random Progressive Woman. I merely hypothesised that she might not fancy HIM, but might fancy an entirely different RPM.

It didn’t occur to me that either of these hypothetical characters in Volodya’s post were married, separately or together, or even knew each other. I have no idea how my husband gets into this story, since he was minding his own hypothetical business in an entirely different and unrelated sentence.

You seriously need to get a life.

Actually, the next round of scandal will relate to the US sponsored child abduction cartel. Hillary will gladly inform you of State Dept complicity. Her many intrepid overseas trips were mere cover for a supply chain providing 20,000 children a day. You can ask Podesta, who has double black bags under each eye, for verification. Unfortunately 20,000 per day is the right number, according to ex CIA David Steele. You can see videos of his statements on UTube. Most of the victims come from poor countries where they won’t be noticed as missing.
They are subject to abuse, torture, satanic worship sacrifices, body parts donation, the usual suspects. Kleptocracy runs deep. I’m merely the messenger, here to enlighten.

    • San Jose May 11, 2018 at 2:54 pm #

One of my hobbies is Eastern face reading–based on the five elements noticed by the Yellow Emperor many millennia ago.

Gina Haspel is fascinating. Her upper eyelids are very unusual. They are at their highest point above her pupils, and they sag down on both sides. This forms a kind of triangle. The interpretation of this is that she has seen a lot of horror. Interestingly, Elliot Spitzer has the same upper eyelid situation. (He who apparently likes prostitutes who treat him like a dog, with unmentionable stuff up his back end–shudder.)

      • San Jose May 11, 2018 at 3:24 pm #

PS My favorite book on face reading is by Lillian Bridges, “Face Reading in Chinese Medicine.”

        • GreenAlba May 12, 2018 at 2:14 pm #

I used to work for the company that published that book. My colleague who worked on it used to send me emails occasionally with passages from it for fun. If you’ve got the second edition it should have a Development Editor called Clive listed in the ‘cast list’.

We didn’t take Chinese ‘medicine’ very seriously, I’m afraid. But it sells.

Most of the others in that cast list are my old mates, now mostly made redundant.

Not exactly, Q (and welcome back – long time no see).

You can be sacked for e.g. bad behaviour or not doing your job properly.

Redundancy involves the actual job being dispensed with, so it’s legally very precise – and it’s motivated by e.g.’restructuring’ or ‘reorganisation’ on the part of the business – or indeed closure. My firm had an ongoing bad case of reorganisation-itis.

So, for instance, a firm cannot make someone redundant and then take on another person to do the same job within six months. There are tax implications – so, for instance, I got a month’s pay for every year I’d worked there, which happened to be 16 years, all tax free. But I couldn’t do freelance work for them (which I still do, part time) for 6 months, for reasons to do with the Inland Revenue, who suspect that firms make people redundant and then employ them freelance to save social costs.

Our colleagues in the US offices didn’t get such nice redundancy arrangements. They could be marched out the door when they arrived and just told not to come back. But they got paid more than us, so swings and roundabouts I suppose.

Surely others have noticed the following:

The hash mark (#) is also called the pound sign.

Therefore, #MeToo can be read as a command: Pound me too!

So, we can infer, the NY AG was merely obeying this command from women he admired.

To clarify, I condemn Schneiderman’s behavior towards women, and hope he is dealt with severely.

Full disclosure: as an adult man, I have never struck a woman. When I was a small child, I sometimes hit my sister. I still feel guilt about that.

    • Ol' Scratch May 11, 2018 at 3:39 pm #

I grew up watching my drunken father and my puritanical mother go at it for the 5 years or so they were married. He walloped her a few times, mostly out of self-defense and/or frustration due to her incessant nagging and instigating. He was mostly a happy, sloppy drunk, so he was never too much of a threat to anyone once he staggered in the door, but she took five years to develop the good sense to just let him sleep it off and then file for divorce.

I came away from it convinced that most dysfunctional relationships are codependent and that any accusations by one party against the other were likely to be hysterical gibberish when taken out of context. Some women actually want to be hit to fulfill their feelings of victimization/martyrdom and some men are happy to oblige them and regain some small amount of self-respect once they reach their wits end. It takes two to tango, and all that rubbish. Some couples just need a life coach/referee to intercede and tell them BOTH to STFU already and move on with their lives.

If prostitution were to be legalized I would think that it would set marriage back to the days of the Wild West, no? Indeed, we are at a dead run towards total degradation and I am unaware of anything being done to slow down the fall.

Marriage is already a train wreck. There is not much in our society that isn’t. Society is not a matter of immorality but of amorality. There are no agreed upon standards e.g. 10 Commandments. It is a free for all to see who can be the most crude, the most rude, the nastiest. Class and style are gone. Obscenity is embraced and anyone who opposes is shouted down, ridiculed or maliciously attacked in some form. I tend to think the tattoo pandemic is an example of the direction we are taking. Ugly stuff but embraced. Yuck!!! I suspect that the really wealthy people are in fact making plans for survival as the social construct disintegrates. Just my 2 cents. I am sure some genius here will go on the attack. I will say now that I ignore such and count them as non persons. They have no value whatever.

“Or is it possible that progressives are just as full of shit about this as they are about damn near everything else?”

    A certainty!

draupnir and GreenAlba, a woman secure and confident who will stand toe to toe and eye to eye with a man should be exactly what men select in my view. Our species, male and female did not arrive in the 21st century on different trains but together as a species that utilizes sexual reproduction.

draupnir I mirror your view of men as I view women. The carrot and the stick deal, not so much. GreenAlba you are correct, not all human males are breeding alphas and thus are not at the top of the selection list. The tryst is just another tool in the selection tool box.

    • Tate May 11, 2018 at 2:23 pm #

With the unrestrained licentiousness we see today, Alphas get all the pussy they want while Betas almost none. Anything lower than Beta can fuggedaboutit. Tindr is the ultimate weapon for this phenomenon. We have returned in a bizarre way to the age of ‘oriental despotism’ where polygamy was the rule. It is not conducive to a stable social system. It leads to constant revolt & warfare.

      • draupnir May 11, 2018 at 6:56 pm #

When did we veer off onto alpha males? Most men have enough of the qualities I mentioned to pass muster. I’m pretty sure most of you are hairy, smelly, nasty, brutish things. It seems to me that there is a serious attempt to turn men into effete, flower-wearing pansies afraid to indicate interest in a woman. Pretty soon you guys will have to sit together in a bar and hope some woman will make a pass at you. I don’t think I’d be very happy in a world like that.

        • Tate May 11, 2018 at 7:45 pm #

Yes, but where’s it coming from? IMO, it’s the women’s movement that is behind that attempt to change men’s basic nature.

          • draupnir May 11, 2018 at 8:14 pm #

I have to agree, and I personally believe that those 30 and 40 something women are unhappy, but not for the reasons they believe. Women have their own realm. I think they’ve lost it and what they’ve tried to replace it with turns out to be not as satisfying as they thought so they are lashing out.

      Wm

Well, I certainly wasn’t looking for a ‘breeding Alpha’! I was 48 when I met my husband and 58 when I married him. My kids were grown up and my mortgage finally paid off before we tied the knot.

Even among younger women not everyone wants an alpha. People are more sophisticated and variable than pop-evolutionary theory would allow. Similarly, not every man *primarily* wants a supremely beautiful partner, even if he’s attracted in the normal way to female beauty. He wants one he gets on with, who shares his values and who isn’t going to go off with any of the other men who might pursue her.

I read a number of years ago that American alpha women were eschewing alpha men because they often don’t make good partners. They may make lots of money but they’re also more likely to cheat. And few people want to be married to a cheat, even if he’s good at paying the bills. So they go for men they think will make good long-term partners, as any sensible person would who wants a relationship that’s going to last.

Some women will still want the alphas – and some of those women may be getting a bit on the side themselves. It’s always best if the cheats can be matched with other cheats so they leave the loyal people alone. Sadly life isn’t that neat.

“Even among younger women not everyone wants an alpha.”

        Alba,

Your statement defines the paradox of civil society…and therein the seeds of it’s own destruction.

        • GreenAlba May 12, 2018 at 12:10 pm #

Why would someone want an alpha male if statistics suggest they make the least faithful husbands? Such a pairing also contains the seeds of its own destruction.

What you get with alpha males (like the one currently ‘leading’ your country) is a string of ex-wives, alimony payments and a bunch of kids with a cynical view of personal relationships.

Give me someone a bit less alpha with some decent values, thanks.

            Thanks, Jen.

It amazes me that some women are willing to sell themselves so short for a standard of living.

I have a friend who worked for a big accountancy firm. Many of the partners made sure they were married to ‘classy’ women who’d gone to the same private schools as they had. Then they had cute classy kids. But they’d have their bits on the side who were less classy. She saw an email once where they were arranging a ‘business’ trip to a cruise ship off Ibiza that said ‘plenty of pussy – not one to invite the wives or girlfriends to’).

My friend is very happily on her own (also had a cheating husband), with grown-up sons and a baby granddaughter, and has for years been doing her own thing and having a nice serene life, which she wouldn’t exchange in a million years for that kind of cr@p. And she’s brought her boys up to be the opposite of their useless dad, who totally ignored them for years when he went off to have a second family. They’re both a credit to her.

These women at her old work are more ‘trapped’ than poor ones, because they’ve bought into a life with private school fees and the like so they have to turn a blind eye to the way their supposedly alpha (I’d rate then ‘zeta’) husbands behave.

Indeed, elysianfield. I certainly haven’t argued the contrary.

I’m only stating my preference – and I have no interest in alpha males. The feeling would be almost certainly be mutual (or would have been even in my youth), so there’s no problem. Each to their own…

What’s an alpha? Bill Gates? Not in the draupnirean sense. But in terms of what is of value in our society (rightly or wrongly)? Oh, yes. 2000 AD vs 10,000 BC.

        • draupnir May 12, 2018 at 6:19 pm #

According to our host we’re on the tail end of a technological blip that made current civilization possible. It’s just a thin candy coating and it won’t take much to crack it. Soon enough, things will be as they ever were.

They are unpleasant to be around so men don’t want them. The real “mystery” (not really!) is why women who believe in such high ideals are so attracted to ruthless powerbrokers while the men who share their ideas are left high and dry.

The world will change when women choose in accordance with their ideals. Never in other words.

      • GreenAlba May 12, 2018 at 10:37 am #

        Janos

It would be easier to understand your posts if you were clearer about who you were referring to.

        ‘They’ isn’t very helpful.

I’ve just said a lot of high-achieving women are (according to the report) choosing NOT to set up home with certain high-achieving men because the latter may earn a lot but they don’t necessarily have the qualities to sustain a long-term relationship. That seems sensible to me and shows the women are putting serious thought into what they hope will be long-term relationships which will give stability to their children.

It also gives the lie to the nonsense that women are only interested in the contents of men’s wallets, a contention that is most often borne out in societies where there is less equality between men and women. Where men and women are more economically equal, ‘marrying up’ is less frequent. Which is kind of intuitive.

The evidence from the report also shows that non-alpha males have plenty of qualities that sensible women want.

Ruthless power-brokers are often destructive people everyone’s best off without. There will always be people of both sexes who are attracted to other people who aren’t the best bet for a good, long-term relationship. And not everyone is interested in the long term.

And too many men get their ‘ideals’ from dodgy internet sites. That hasn’t helped long-term relationships either.

At no stage in my life would I have gone near an alpha male. But then alpha males wouldn’t have been interested in me anyway. So it’s good to instinctively know one’s natural ‘fishing pool’. A modest life on the byways has been fine for me. You can’t take any of it with you.

        • Janos Skorenzy May 12, 2018 at 3:06 pm #

Well, I hope you’re right. So women get tricky and get with a Bill Gates type Alpha but cheat with a hairy bruiser. About one in ten babies are not the husband’s. A man should always the baby tested.

Elephant Seals are interesting, extreme sexual dichotomy with the males more than twice the size of the females. They battle for harems. Nature has innovated, coming up with a male who is only slightly larger than the female. He sneaks among the herd under the nose of the bulls and enjoys without having to fight. A sleek and smooth Latin lover, eh? If you were an elephant seal, I’m sure you would go for this. But not draupnir!

          • GreenAlba May 12, 2018 at 3:44 pm #

I am by nature and conviction a non-cheat, I’m afraid. Deception is not part of my toolkit – nor will it ever be.

Other people may do as they choose.

I don’t know about Bill Gates’ charms (didn’t they used to say his personal hygiene was a bit off?).

Re the Melania situation, though, the old Trumps should remember this well-known folk tune when they’re acquiring their trophy wives:

A female elephant in estrus will not mate with the young males who come courting. She waits for the mature bull in must with his rut on him.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 12, 2018 at 9:16 pm #

I’m not talking about young or immature bulls. This is a mutation: a small male who uses a completely different strategy. He doesn’t fight for the females, he seduces them.

  23. baroto May 11, 2018 at 2:29 pm #

Do I really have to spell it out. Of course the reserves are not infinite. The inside joke in the oil business is that there is enough of it to last 500 yrs. Peak oil did not occur in 2005, the theory was a lie to create the sense of scarcity so the price is not $1 per barrel. Another point never addressed is that, yes we currently use the bio mass from about 150 million years ago, but that process never stoped. We are somehow under the impression that ones we exhaust that bio mass, its done, but new supply of it is currently making its way trough, hence old wells that have been closed for decades are reopened because there is oil in them again.

    • Tate May 11, 2018 at 3:17 pm #

LOL. Your inside joke may or may not be based on facts. Nobody knows. There are too many variables to consider how the connection gets severed.

Even if we accepted abiotic genesis (which most don’t), the replacement you’re talking about isn’t enough to eventually be insufficient to meet the challenge of a slow, bumpy growth in demand.

      • Tate May 11, 2018 at 3:29 pm #

… isn’t enough (such that it would) eventually be insufficient to meet the challenge of a slow, bumpy growth in demand.

        • baroto May 11, 2018 at 5:05 pm #

Yep, point is there was and is no peak oil, not any time soon. Whichever the genesis theory, them wells are filling up. I mean come on, oil production has doubled domestically in the last 10 yrs. We hit 10 billion bpd surpassed the Saudis and catching up to Russia as the number one producer in the world. Oil should be a lot cheaper but it ain’t.

          • GreenAlba May 11, 2018 at 5:29 pm #

The peak oil theory referred/refers to conventional oil, which has peaked.

Oil from tar sands or shale is not part of conventional reserves. And to my mind, the whole shale oil thing screams desperation.

            “them wells are filling up.”

Can you expand on this? I’m intrigued. Where are they filling up from?

          • Tate May 13, 2018 at 12:21 am #

Looks like it was a drive-by. But we got the tag number: “baroto.”

No, them wells ain’t filling back up. Increases in production are the result of technological advances allowing greater recovery of oil that was already there, but not previously recoverable.

A half a billion years of sunlight, as JMG puts it, will not be replenished during the insignificant lifetime of homo sapiens.

Funny thing is, with greater energy efficiencies, efforts at conservation, demand destruction, and continuing technological advances in exploration, recovery, & distribution, it might just be 500 years. Nobody knows.

McGill University. Smart Canadians know Canada is doomed. As is the entire Anglo-Sphere and Western Europe. Time to start learning Russian. Or Polish. Or Hungarian, etc. Why? Because Liberalism is weak compared to natural ethnocentrism. Natural peoples will take all that is offered and give back as little as possible. The dilemma of the commons writ huge.

The Evolutionary Dominance of Ethnocentric Cooperation

    Received: 31-Mar-2012 Accepted: 28-Dec-2012 Published: 30-Jun-2013

    * Abstract
Recent agent-based computer simulations suggest that ethnocentrism, often thought to rely on complex social cognition and learning, may have arisen through biological evolution. From a random start, ethnocentric strategies dominate other possible strategies (selfish, traitorous, and humanitarian) based on cooperation or non-cooperation with in-group and out-group agents. Here we show that ethnocentrism eventually overcomes its closest competitor, humanitarianism, by exploiting humanitarian cooperation across group boundaries as world population saturates. Selfish and traitorous strategies are self-limiting because such agents do not cooperate with agents sharing the same genes. Traitorous strategies fare even worse than selfish ones because traitors are exploited by ethnocentrics across group boundaries in the same manner as humanitarians are, via unreciprocated cooperation. By tracking evolution across time, we find individual differences between evolving worlds in terms of early humanitarian competition with ethnocentrism, including early stages of humanitarian dominance. Our evidence indicates that such variation, in terms of differences between humanitarian and ethnocentric agents, is normally distributed and due to early, rather than later, stochastic differences in immigrant strategies.

I had to look this story up. I have never been to America but if I ever do come it won’t be to New York. First SJW Weinstein gets stitched up, then his stitcher-in-chief gets it too. The first of these lovely ladies (two of the four are named) left him once, then again, then again, and then saw him occasionally, so horrified was she by this assault while she was fully clothed. The second, from Ceylon, was beaten up only in bed. The revelations came later, when they had inspired and empowered each other, and inspired and empowered others and had in turn been inspired and empowered them. Whatever angle you look at this from, whoever’s point of view you take, it makes no sense at all. Perhaps it is all the booze. Perhaps they should all give up their worldly goods, their politicking and altruism, their ‘activism, and their weird beliefs and enter a monastery or a convent.

As I already wrote, the number of the most important news now is such that I can not analyze them all, even if I write 5 posts a day, which I can not physically do. On the other hand, the absence of a general picture in the minds of most readers does not allow them to correctly understand the posts I write.

In particular, no one appreciated the importance of geopolitical significance of pornography, meanwhile, it was this very theme that made it possible to identify the mentioning of our time in the Holy Scripture, in particular in the Apocalypse.

And I remind you that the connection of our time with the Apocalypse became the main reason for the creation of the Islamic State.

The fact is that in Islam, Armageddon and the return of Issa (Christ) are described in approximately the same terms as in Christianity, and many of those who went to Syria to fight the infidels in the vicinity of Mount Megiddo (Armageddon), located in the north of Israel, sincerely believed that they would fight on the side of the Mahdi (the righteous leader of Muslims) against the Dajjal (Antichrist).

And the distinctive feature of the Black Project since the 12th century is the belief that they can manipulate God by manipulating prophecies of the Prophets as well as the Holy Scripture and the Koran. And one of the most terrible things that Hillary Clinton and Zbigniew Brzezinski did is using the Koran to generate “controlled chaos in the Greater Middle East” and “Arab Spring”, respectively.

And the main thing is not to believe various “experts”, especially when they accuse Trump of being inconsistent in connection with the US withdrawal from the nuclear agreement with Iran. On this issue, Trump is absolutely consistent and communicated his wish to withdraw from this agreement with Iran at the very beginning of his election campaign, when he was absolutely sure that he could not see the US presidency as his own ears.

Subsequently, he made this one of the main points of his election campaign, which attracted to his side evangelical Christians the United States and the anti-Clinton lobby, not only in the United States, but throughout the world, including those members of the Nobel Committee who gave the Nobel Peace Prize to Barack Obama for that he did not let Hillary Clinton to the American red button in 2008.

The point is that the evangelical Christians of the USA, who make up the most influential group of the WASP and the registered members of the Republican Party, trying on the Apocalypse, categorically do not want the US to be in an anti-Christian camp, coming to the final battle with the hordes of Gog and Magog in the vicinity of Megiddo, known as Armageddon.

And I personally categorically disagree with such interpretation of Holy Scripture, were the world is divided into the North and the South, and not as it is now into the East and West, but they believe it and take it very seriously, including Donald Trump himself.
And we must reckon with this, as well as with the fact that the Gnostic consciousness is deeply entangled in the consciousness of the Western Christians, including the idea of manipulation of the Holy Scriptures, and they are now quite seriously fighting for the title of “Shield of Israel,” despite the fact that the true shield of Israel can only be considered Russia, the legal successor to the Stalinist USSR, who defeated Nazi Germany and created Israel.

You can read more about this in the following posts:

    http://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/fire-and-fury/#comment-333259

in which I described the current situation 4 months ago. And I have no doubt that Vladimir Putin understood the geopolitical significance of the very concept of the “Shield of Israel” when he agreed with the arguments of Benjamin Netanyahu who came to Moscow for the celebration of the Victory Day, including to explain that the destruction of the military infrastructure of Iran in Syria is a matter of life and death for Israel.

In general, the last days are marked by the emergence on the surface of the ocean of the world politics of hidden tendencies, about which I have been writing for at least 5 years. One such was McCain’s confession literally on his deathbed that he had transferred to the Director of the FBI Comey Moscow Trump Dossier, compiled by the British spy Steele, commissioned by Hillary Clinton. It was this file that served as the basis for obtaining permission to eavesdrop on Trump’s election campaign, including the conversation between General Flynn and Russia’s Ambassador Kislyak to prevent a nuclear war that Hillary Clinton had conceived after losing the elections.

And McCain’s confession is a major event, as it confirmed what I have been saying for a long time, namely, that a large part of the Republican party has been recruited by Hillary Clinton and this part was until recently led by the Republican presidential candidate in 2008 John McCain. And this is very important for the outcome of the midterm elections, on which Hillary Clinton was going to secure a majority in the Congress and the US Senate of the Democratic Party for the subsequent impeachment of Donald Trump.

I want to draw your attention to the fact that the confession of McCain will play a major role in the forming the Cabinet in Russia.

Re the Apocalypse and ‘our time in Holy Scripture’, you could get a bit of balance by reading Orlov’s recent post (4 May), ‘The world may end for the stupidest of reasons’. Patrons only, I’m afraid, but as little as a regular dollar will get you in there.

      • FincaInTheMountains May 11, 2018 at 5:58 pm #

Hey Green Alba I see more ‘Acid Attacks’ in Londonistan-o-town. That’s pretty nasty business, throwing a cup of sulfuric acid in a strangers face walking down the street. Is that a national characteristic of British life, acid attacks? Is Great Britain still a civilized country? At least in a shootout you have a fighting chance. Here in the USA, in counties where more citizens carry a weapon than don’t, people are extraordinarily polite, and everybody is on their best behavior.

Acid attacks are a pretty horrendous fad, brh.

“Is that a national characteristic of British life, acid attacks? Is Great Britain still a civilized country? ”

Did you ever have to write an essay in school, where you had to use logic and reason, and make sure that one hypothesis followed logically from a fact you’d just established? No? What a shame. It’s a useful exercise.

The most recent complete set of official data on crime in the US showed that there were 5.3 murders and non-negligent manslaughters per 100,000 people, equal to 53 per million.

Police-recorded crime in England and Wales for the same period, published by the Office for National Statistics, showed 10 homicides – murder and manslaughter – per million.

So, yeah, brh, you’ve got a way to go before you can compete with the UK on safety. But those acid attacks remain appalling. I suppose whether it’s better to be shot dead depends on how bad it is.

Murder in the U.S. would be comparable to the safest countries in Europe were it not for the Black population.

If New York City were all white, the murder rate would drop by 91 percent, the robbery rate by 81 percent, and the shootings rate by 97 percent.

In an all-white Chicago, murder would decline 90 percent, rape by 81 percent, and robbery by 90 percent.

            And so on.

Mr Ozone, can you say “troll”? Of course you get to make that determination and I wouldn’t presume otherwise.

Blogspaces are infested with the breed, the most pernicious of course being those government employed who, like vampires, suck worthwhile discourse from the public realm.

“First Amendment” they say, no abridgment of the freedom of speech.

So do the tactics of campus snowflakes with their Maoist prohibitions and Orwellian proscriptions constitute “abridgment”? Sure, but it ain’t contrary to the First Amendment because it ain’t CONGRESS doing the “abridging”.

But what about when the snowflakes come of age and actually become law-makers given their comfort with banning not only words and phrases but also thought-crime.

So do the distractionary and inflammatory tactics of on-line government trolls constitute an “abridgement”? We’ve seen it on this site and still do. Is this contrary to the First Amendment when it does appear that government agencies are behind the attempt to fetter public discussion? Should this be tested in court?

I’ll burst right now, like three hundred tons of TNT, –
In me is the charge of uncreative evil:
          Muse visited me today, –
          Sat a little and left!

          She had good reasons –
I have no right to whine,
Imagine: Muse … at night … at man’s place! –
God knows what people will say about her.

I rushed to the table, all impatience,
But – Lord please have mercy on me –
She left, – the inspiration disappeared
And – 20 bucks – must be for taxi.

One man’s troll is another man’s treasure. Ozone would have me banned along with Finc. Other people like my posts. So how do you decide? Maybe with the First Amendment as a guide, even if it is “private space”.

What happens when everything is private space? Twitter, Facebook, Google, etc.

The Archdruid, an impressive intellect is of the same mentality as Ozone, an ardent suppressionist. Of course when We attain power, we’re not going to allow Marxism or Political Correctness, seeing them as diseases of the mind. So that’s a bit of relativity for ya – if you only care about Robert’s Rules of Order and not the actual subjects being discussed. We produce many such formalists – like Judge Gorsuch. The Left is all about winning and they will always triumph over such weak conservatism, focused on procedure as it is.

The world may end for the stupidest of reasons == Green Alba

The statement that “the world is ruled not by a secret lodge but by an obvious crap” is brilliantly articulated by Mr. Orlov and has a huge influence on certain readers of this blog.

In the West, this concept is called the “Hanlon razor” with an explicit reference to Occam’s razor. And this reference is so well worked out that it refutes itself, as the authors of the concept clearly knew what the real thing is, I would even say the historical meaning of Occam’s razor, and I’m very sorry, but I want none of it.

And this is an important point, since the other name for Hanlon’s razor is the expression Full deniability and the first known application of the concept of “obvious crap” in practice is the official version of the Fourth Crusade, according to which the crusaders took Constantinople by mistake or because they did not have enough money to get to Palestine.

And the last known application of this concept to me is the “stupidity of Gorbachev,” who did not know what he was doing when he was ruining the USSR. And so the American Deep State is already making claims to Russia for Trump’s election, and Russia does not make any claims to anyone for the election of Gorbachev as Secretary General of the CPSU.

  39. Chris at Fernglade Farm May 12, 2018 at 4:47 am #

    Hi Jim,

“When he sinks that last shot, a new game will get underway. I believe it will have to do with financial markets and currencies, and a lot more will hang on the outcome.”

I’m curious as to your opinion as to the ratcheting up of Oil prices? There is a story there that did not end well last time that situation occurred.

Mind you, it is possible that what we are observing is a cycle of the collapse of some capital whenever Oil prices rise to the current levels and beyond. I sort of feel that people and capital get dumped in the resulting crash, never to be returned to the game, and then the game begins anew at a much shorter cycle. I don’t really know though and am merely extrapolating the events as I see them playing out.

Given most experiences with easy money policy has resulted in hyper-inflation, well I sort of feel that somewhere along the line some of that money has to be disappeared somehow, and such cycles are good for that purpose. Dunno.

Mostly I see inflationary effects being diverted into real estate, bonds, shares, and derivatives. And that seems to be working for now, although I feel that all policies are subject to diminishing returns – and this one sure is no exception.

    Cheers

    Chris

If we go back to various “experts”, seriously discussing that the $150 billion that Obama returned to Iran after the conclusion of a nuclear deal and a few days ago rejected by Trump, are invested in US securities and if Iran does not stop selling them, then it will cause a US default. And I got the impression that they really do not know that according to the US president, these 150 billion were given to Iran in cash, brought to Iran by a special Boeing 747.

    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2018/apr/27/donald-trump/donald-trump-iran-150-billion-and-18-billion-c/

But I did not mention this in order to gloat, but to ask:

“If Iran can bring down the dollar system by selling American securities worth $150 billion, then why can not Russia do same thing by selling the same securities for about the same amount?”

And the answer to this question has a direct bearing on the formation of the Cabinet of Ministers in Russia, since McCain’s confession determines the prospects for Russia’s continued engagement in the world capitalist system, but beyond this recognition is extremely important for analyzing the military strategic balance, since after a hot war, dollars will not be needed, and the victory of Russia in the Cold War, which is achieved by a correct calculation of the military-strategic balance, means the collapse of the dollar system.

    To be continued… (yes, Ozone)

Big G, the Pope’s boss, capo di tutti capi, may be doing the set-up.

No matter how it happens, financial and currency markets are the reflection of an underlying economic arrangement without the benefit of reason and logic, that has no basis in the real-world of cause and effect, that will not work because, strenuous objections to the contrary by everybody who’s anybody in the upper echelons of American society, there’s no such thing as a free lunch. They’d like the serfs to THINK there is, that someday and somehow, predations by the handful of families controlling the American economy will result in prosperity for all. But the returns are in and of course it’s all bunk.

Or the demise could come at the hands of intellectuals that insist that a society half comprised of weepy, dress-wearing panty-men, who can’t figure out their gender identity and can’t take a piss standing up, is actually workable. Which, of course to anyone not making a living as an academic, this is laughable. And, not to re-state the abundantly obvious, societies re-generate themselves and survive via the means of adults teaching little boys and girls.

Now, not to re-state the obvious once again, but there actually have to be little boys and girls to teach. So there’s two ways to do this. One is for guys to jack off into petri-dishes, freezing the resultant product and having a woman help herself when she feels up to it. This I would deem an arrangement without a future. The other is via the mechanism of men fucking women, yes, yes, with the window-dressing of ritual, but nonetheless, by men planting the seed as offensively patriarchal and retrograde as that sounds. And then sticking around to support the ankle-biters. Regardless that snowflakes have screaming trigger-fits at the idea, this IMO is the only viable way forward, not men screwing men, nor women boffing women but rather physical interactions that result in human offspring.

Now, all this pre-supposes that men have got paid employment to support such an arrangement. But thanks to the ministrations of intellectuals and oligarchs, that’s becoming more and more the exception. Do we have a viable way forward? Big G may be having a good laugh. Or He could be preparing a special circle of hell.

    • GreenAlba May 12, 2018 at 11:54 am #

      Volodya

I like a lot of what you say on economic matters – it’s common sense to me.

But I don’t know why you need to use hyperbole, like:

“a society *half* comprised of weepy, dress-wearing panty-men, who can’t figure out their gender identity and can’t take a piss standing up,”

I’ve just checked, because I don’t take much interest in these things, and it appears that LGBT people make up around 4% of the American population. I don’t even know what the other endless initials stand for in the longer version, because it’s not something that impinges on my life very much at all. You might be happier if you let it impinge less on yours.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_demographics_of_the_United_States

Of that 4 percent, only 0.3 percent identify as transgender (that’s the ones with identity issues) That’s 0.3 percent. Not even one half of one percent. And it includes people of both original sexes.

Maybe because they’re only just getting used to their existence being recognised they make more noise than that percentage should justify – I don’t know. It’s not a special interest of mine. It’s not really an interest of mine at all.

But I really don’t see it enormously affecting the birthrate. Especially when there have always been gay and lesbian people (of similarly low numbers as now, just better hidden) and we’ve still had lots of babies nevertheless. But if you can prove that 0.3% of your population are significantly affecting the birth rate, I’m sure someone somewhere will publish your findings.

And in my whole life I’ve only known (not even known, really, just worked in the same building as) one person who produced a child in any other way than the traditional one you mention. Apart from a married couple I was friendly with who couldn’t have a baby because she had some kind of auto-immune condition that meant her uterus was rejecting the embryos. They had to do it test-tube-and-implantation-style, with much trauma and intermittent heartbreak, but she managed to carry two implanted embryos to term and they now have two lovely boys.

You are and can be rational about such matters – perhaps because you don’t feel very strongly. Your libido or life energy isn’t focused on the sexual or romantic but is completely on career and politics. There you can be very irrational indeed…..

        • GreenAlba May 12, 2018 at 5:26 pm #

My life energy is focused on my career? I’m practically retired, Janos, and the only ‘politics’ I take part in is on here and voting every few years. And don’t presume about people’s personal lives – it’s ignorant.

0.3% is 0.3%. Unless I’m losing my marbles that means that if you go out to meet people/women, only 3 in a thousand of them are going to identify as transgender. Maybe they all congregate in the one place in your part of the world and that’s what’s annoying you? Well, remember the old doctor joke…

‘It hurts when I do that, Doctor’

          ‘Well, don’t do that then.’

If they’re all in the one place, maybe you could go somewhere else. And if they’re distributed equally around the community you’re going to have to meet 1000 people just to come across three of them. Now, pardon me if I’m being unreasonable here, but I think you’re making something out of nothing. Which is not an attribute that’s helpful in establishing romantic relationships in the first place.

Chill out and concentrate on the other 99.7% of people who aren’t annoying you by being transgender, or the 96% who aren’t even remotely gay, lesbian or ‘bi’ either.

So yes, Janos, I feel strongly. But I keep my strong feelings for things that matter. I don’t go around looking for things to fret about, which is the sign of a person unburdened by any genuine problems.

        • GreenAlba May 13, 2018 at 2:49 pm #

“You are and can be rational about such matters – perhaps because you don’t feel very strongly. ”

It can be confusing on this site. There’s a pervasive sexist view that women are ’emotional’ when sensible people (a.k.a. men) are rational, but when a woman is rational, you don’t like it.

One would almost think men weren’t entirely rational. Or that they just spend too much time finding reasons not to value women.

Both reason and emotion have their place in a balanced human being. Too much emotion and you risk getting a neurotic. Too little and you risk getting a psychopath (that’s not an accurate clinical diagnosis in either case, it’s artistic license).

The art of living includes working out which things are best approached rationally. That can take a lifetime.

“From the oh-so-ethical pen of @aefeldman : ‘Jordan Peterson is a public intellectual adored by neo-Nazis, white supremacists and conspiracy theorists.’ You pathetic weasel. You had your damn article written before you even talked to me.”
    – Jordan B Peterson

Hahaha. What’d he expect? That’s SOP for ‘respectable’ journos. All too soon JP is gonna be whimpering like a puppy with his nose rubbed in it or going full-frontal Nazi like Kevin MacDonald. I guess it’s obvious which way he’s going.

Looks like Kevin MacDonald has hit back at Jordan Peterson (from theoccidentalobserverdotnet):

“Celebrity intellectual Jordan Peterson has written a blog post, ‘’On the So-Called ‘Jewish Question’,’ the inner quotes indicating he doesn’t think this is a real issue…  His blog includes a link to Nathan Cofnas’s criticism of ‘The Culture of Critique.’ No links to my replies—which may provide a clue about his intellectual honesty.

“Indeed, one must wonder about the seriousness of someone who thinks he can settle an issue that has gotten the attention of some of the most celebrated thinkers in Western history with an 1100-word blog post.

“Peterson has become popular because of his courage and knowledge in opposing political correctness. He stands up for men and for individual responsibility. To his credit he achieved celebrity status via social media, not as a creature of the mainstream media. Much of his stature rests on his use of scientific data in his arguments…

“However, my confidence in Peterson’s trustworthiness was shaken by his shoddy treatment of the Jewish Question, including name-calling directed at my own work… For Peterson there are only individual interests (a bit strange for someone who approves of evolutionary biology, a subdiscipline that encompasses kin selection theory and, for humans, cultural group selection). For Peterson to admit there is a Jewish Question would be to concede the reality of group interests…

“In the West, failure to acknowledge group interests is suicidal for its traditional European-derived populations. As a result of the imposition of massive non-White immigration and multiculturalism by elites unresponsive to popular attitudes, the traditional populations of these societies are slated to become minorities in lands they have dominated for hundreds, and in the case of Europe, thousands of years. In the West, these migrants have typically established identitarian groups intent on pursuing their group interests and with increasing power to do so as the traditional European-derived populations (which uniquely produced individualist societies) dwindle. … it is suicidal to pursue an individualist strategy as things are now…

“… if present trends continue, the individualist culture of the West will become a distant memory as these new peoples assume power in collaboration with White social justice warriors… Already in the U.S. the non-White voting share of the Democrat Party is 44%, and this will only increase in coming years as the Congressionally approved yearly influx of more than one million continues. The faith of the individualist is that these newcomers will readily become good Westerners and that the ethnic politics that looms so large now will become a thing of the past—a fateful gamble that will end in disaster as politics becomes increasingly racialized (~60% of Whites vote Republican, and Whites account for 90% of GOP votes), achievement differences among the various groups become a potent source of political friction, and there are declines in social cohesion and willingness to contribute to public goods. These changes are disastrous for the traditional White majorities of the West.

It was a delight last Thursday to see Dr. Peterson at the Moore Theatre in Seattle. I had second row seats and his lecture was polished and full of refreshing perspective. Jordan is a thoughtful and kind man who is all about giving people structure in their lives. Structure so that they can be better and happier people who can go on to make the world a better place by being here.

Meeting Jordan in person and attending one of his lectures made me aware the real Jordan Peterson is not like the Peterson portrayed in the media or the Jourdan keyboard narcissists love to hate. Take what was written by MacDonald for instance.

“Indeed, one must wonder about the seriousness of someone who thinks he can settle an issue that has gotten the attention of some of the most celebrated thinkers in Western history with an 1100-word blog post.

Kevin MacDonald may be proud of his clever question but he is as full of shit as any other self proclaimed Peterson ‘expert’. Like them MacDonald is a pussy who thinks Peterson is an easy target and like the other pussy internet keyboard warriors who are attacking Peterson he thinks he can type whatever he wants, however hurtful because nobody can kick his ass. Trollery, and in the case of Peterson such trollery is high end and gets published as serious. Hating on Peterson is popular. Peterson is a pseudo-intellectual target soup-de-jour. MacDonald forgets the question was asked on Peterson’s time not his, and MacDonald has no right to assign to Peterson what should be considered a serious question or not.

Jordan Peterson does not care about politics, Jordan cares about the therapeutic effect his lectures, videos and writings have on helping people out as individuals with their lives. He is a critic of our times because he knows people need structure in their lives to have meaning and be happy. Our culture does not give them structure, Jordan tries.

There was zero protest at Jordan’s Seattle Event and I doubt Jordan has any at his London gatherings now. The people who protest Jordan have an agenda which has nothing to do with Jordan’s work and thankfully because the protest is all about their personal agenda and not about Jordan work at all he is having a peaceful tour.

It seems there is a contingent in modern western intellectual wannnabe land which can’t stand anyone who says some things are right and some things are wrong. A contingent who wants to pick their, and your, morality as if it were choices from a restaurant menu. But bad news to them, morality is not a zero sum game and not all the choices are equal. A little of this, some of that, but not anything I don’t like please those who are consumers and no longer citizens find just fine. Consumers so bedazzled by the techno-narcissist bullshit of our times they can’t get that all we are all living in a dog and pony show where the curtain is about to come crashing down. When that happens things they think don’t matter will become very important. But for now blissful ignorance.

“The players of identity politics on the far right continue ever-so-pathologically to beat the anti-Semitic drum, pointing to the over-representation of Jews in positions of authority, competence and influence (including revolutionary movements). I’m called upon–sometimes publicly, sometimes on social media platforms–to comment on such matters, and criticized when I hesitate to do so (although God only knows why I would hesitate ?” <== Jordan Peterson

And why at the end of the day is it only worth 1100 words?

“So, what’s the story? No conspiracy. Get it? No conspiracy. Jewish people are over-represented in positions of competence and authority because, as a group, they have a higher mean IQ. The effect of this group difference (approximately the difference between the typical high school student and the typical state college student) is magnified for occupations/interests that require high general cognitive ability. Equal over-representation may also occur in political movements associated with the left, because high IQ is associated with Openness to Experience, which is in turn associated with liberal/left-leaning political proclivities.” <== Jordan Peterson

Higher mean IQ, education and culture can do that! <== K-Dog

They’re not smarter than our smart people. And few would have begrudged them their success if they hadn’t opened our borders and declared a death sentence against Western Man.

Jordan Peterson is a wonderful person, no doubt, but alas, he was introduced to fame too suddenly. With a self-proclaimed IQ of 150, he thought he was prepared for any intellectual skirmish, little knowing that a skirmish with the JQ defense forces would draw him into a major battle which he was destined to lose.

Now he is being smeared. He is being called “a public intellectual adored by neo-Nazis, white supremacists and conspiracy theorists” by a writer — one Ari Feldman — for “the Forward” magazine. Peterson had no choice but to descend to the level of his attacker: “You pathetic weasel…” Careful, Professor Peterson, that description in itself could be construed as anti-Semitic.

We’ll wait & see. If the smear doesn’t permanently destroy him, it will be because he agrees to undergo interminable rounds of self-flagellation, self-abasement, & prostration before elite opinion coupled with a slight shifting of the Overton Window.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 13, 2018 at 1:56 am #

If so, he will be forced to admit Professor MacDonald is right. Why? Because he is. a is a. Everything follows from that. If one can’t admit that, the path of knowledge is obstructed.

The name Ari Feldman is a perfect teaching vehicle. One could not ax for a more Jewish name.

          • GreenAlba May 13, 2018 at 8:22 am #

“Careful, Professor Peterson, that description in itself could be construed as anti-Semitic.”

Tate, in the world of people who try to keep their prejudices to a minimum, there is nothing whatever wrong with criticising a Jewish person. A Jewish person is a person and may be criticised, as a person. No-one is above criticism.

Similarly I was able to refuse to support Margaret Thatcher, without being any way sexist. Likewise, I do not support Hillary Clinton, without that legitimately suggesting anything about my views on female prime ministers or presidents.

I’ve only listened to about 7 or 8 clips of Peterson on YouTube. I already have some thoughts about him, but I don’t think that small amount of video footage entitles me to form a valid opinion on his overall qualities. I find him a bit ‘philosophy-lite’ (US spelling deliberate – it suggests a particular nuance over here, in the context), for example when he wades into the territory of religion and morality, where I find him rather out of his depth, philosophically speaking.

But I did see one bit of footage where he tentatively stepped into the ‘Jewish IQ’ debate and the debate on IQ in general, and he was very, very clear that a persons intrinsic value as a human being is not dependent on their IQ. And on that, I would entirely agree with him.

          • elysianfield May 13, 2018 at 11:54 am #

“a persons intrinsic value as a human being is not dependent on their IQ. And on that, I would entirely agree with him.”

I’m not sure what you’re looking for, elysianfield (other than to trip me up, obviously).

I am not aware of Hitler’s IQ, but I’m happy to confirm, nonetheless, that his intrinsic value was independent of it.

I’m sure we’re both agreed that ‘value’ can be positive or negative. And I suppose we’d have to debate the meaning of ‘intrinsic’ in this context – do we mean his ‘potential’ as a human being or what he allowed circumstances and his twisted Weltanschauung to pervert him into?

Sadly, I have to go out and do my Muffin-the-Mule act and get to the supermarket before it shuts for many kilos of kibble and several six-packs of Pedigree something or other. Such is life…

            A plus tard…

“I’m sure we’re both agreed that ‘value’ can be positive or negative. ”

            Alba,
Given your most recent qualifier, I agree completely.

To say that all people have value seems to indicate positive traits, or an existence that has some…benefit to humanity…we both know that this is not the case. Negative value…yeah.

          • GreenAlba May 14, 2018 at 10:30 am #

Negative values exist in maths, elysianfield. So my use of the phrase isn’t that contentious, I think – it’s not an oxymoron.

But I’m glad we’ve kind of agreed on something – I think we do from time to time.

Not to worry, if Jewish people are as smart as all of you who are afraid of them being smart are you can relax. Jordan Peterson described a study on rat social interaction in his talk which can help.

Rats it turn out like to wrestle one another and a big rat can always win if it wants to. However unless a little rat wins 20% of the time it will stop playing with a big rat so the big rats let little ones win 20% of the time.

Jewish people are way smarter than rats and since they will be interested in long term oppression they will always treat you somewhat decently. Just try not to piss them off or they will stick you in an oven and make Nightstalker Cookies out of you. Do unto them as you would have them do unto you and you will be fine.

        • Tate May 12, 2018 at 8:11 pm #

LOL. A similar explanation is introduced by Dr. Kevin MacDonald in one of his books to explain Jewish honesty in their dealings with goys. In other words, it’s strategic.

          • GreenAlba May 13, 2018 at 8:43 am #

Tate, even the development of our individual personalities is in many ways strategic, even if we are not aware of it.

GA, true. But with Rabbinical Judaism, what I wrote is explicitly stated in several passages in their Talmud. Of course, it’s a huge set of tomes by a diverse set of authors, so some craziness was bound to creep in.

To be fair, most Jews are kind of embarrassed by it, as they should be. They tend to deny these kinds of things are even found in the Talmud (it was easier to keep a lid on it in the past), or they just practice a studied indifference.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 13, 2018 at 1:36 pm #

No, Jewish superiority is central to the Talmud. The specialness didn’t seep in but was present in the Old Testament. It grew over time as presented in the Mishna (early centuries AD) and even more virulent in the later commentaries, both together making up the present Talmud.

Yes, Liberal or Reform Jews don’t have to accept it and many don’t. But many of the attitudes linger nonetheless, if only implicitly or unconsciously, but often with surprising strength. I mean thing about it: the us/them thing works like a charm in Western Society. Why would they give it all up?

Question for you. When the USSR broke up and Russia shrunk to its current situation, didn’t the USA make commitments to them that we would assist them into joining the world’s financial system and help with economic integration with Europe and us? So a lot of US corporations and companies started working with Russian counterparts, one being the development af oil reserves in the Karal Sea by ExxonMobil. We sold them uranium, Trump was negotiating hotels, i.e. We were doing our economic mission we committed to. Wha’ happened? When and why did Russia become a big bogey man again. Crimea? Their naval base in a loan by Khrushchev, Ukraine?NATO started it with interference with Ukrainian presidential politics when Ukraine started drifting towards Russia. So what changed to make “collusion” with Russia a sin?

IMHO, one thing changed! It is the largest con job in the history of the US. How can we dump Trump? The Progressive movement in the Deep State, all the way up to the globalist organizations needed a whipping boy to blame their loss in the US. Why not pin the blame on the other main nationalist country in the world. I think Trump was going to continue the warming of relations with Putin et al. after his election. The Deep State and the NWO wanted no part of it, and the entire Russiagate situation is the result. As it is a fabrication, it will eventually be discredited and put aside. That is already underway.

Sidebar. What happens if Trump’s government gets a good deal with both Iran and NOKO? Can you imagine it? The Deep State with no whipping boys? They will do whatever they can to disrupt progress. John Lennon. Imagine.

Washington Post: After the fall of the Soviet Union, the U.S. tried to help Russians

      https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/after-the-fall-of-the-soviet-union-the-us-tried-to-help-russians/2015/05/04/cc4f7c20-f043-11e4-8666-a1d756d0218e_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.c3f7133b0957

US never wanted to help Russia or Russians of course, the Washington Post is brazenly lying, but the fact that it is lying in this way suggests that in American society once again surfaced the question of “Who lost Russia?”.

Democrats told the Americans in the 90s that Russia would inevitably disintegrate, and the nuclear missiles in the “Upper Volta” by 2010 will exhaust its resource and by 2015 will be out of order. And officially the question “Who lost Russia?” in its expanded form reads: “Who has not sufficiently supported the processes of democratization in Russia, so that instead of thanking America for chicken legs, getting rid of the communist dictatorship and helping build democratic institutions, puts sticks in American wheels all over the globe and, soon again will place nuclear missiles in Cuba.”

The answer to this question is obvious to the democrats – George Bush the Elder, since it was he who, in 1990, did not sufficiently support Gorby and allowed Yeltsin, Shushkevich and Kravchuk to pull rag of power over the USSR out of under him. And rumors of a catastrophic fall in the standard of living in Russia, when it was rushing to join the world community, and America was controlled by Clinton (and it’s unclear which one of them), have nothing to do with today’s anti-American sentiments in Russia.

On the other hand, the unofficial question “Who lost Russia?” is formulated as follows: Who allowed the Russian fuckers to slip out of the trap into which they were led by Gorbachev?

And the answer to this question among the Democrats is also only one – George Bush the Younger, since in 2000 he dared to see the soul in Putin’s eyes, invited him to the ranch and gave him the opportunity to express his sympathy after September 11.

And that after General Clark ordered NATO to attack the Russian troops in the Pristina airport, Kursk “drowned”, Yeltsin from China reminded Clinton of Russia’s nuclear triad, and the President of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, who came to the Bush inauguration at his invitation, was arrested at the New York airport.

Fun and games? Some of you want to play the anti-semitism game and I don’t like that game one bit.

Jordan Peterson says: “If you’re misguided enough to play identity politics, whether on the left or the right, then you require a victim (in the right-wing case, European culture or some variant) and a perpetrator (Jews). Otherwise you can’t play the game.”

We need more Jews in positions of power. Because Jews are intelligent and ethical, they should have more influence in the media, in finance, and in education. We need more Jews. Diversity is strength. I want MORE Jews in positions of influence in Congress, and in all facets of society. Jews are not perpetrators. As a minority Jews facilitate the conservation of rationalism that Western culture promotes.

“So, what’s the story? No conspiracy. Get it? No conspiracy. Jewish people are over-represented in positions of competence and authority because, as a group, they have a higher mean IQ.” –Jordan Peterson

    • Janos Skorenzy May 13, 2018 at 2:08 am #

So Jews are superior? I thought you believed in the equality of all? You are so mixed up….

      • GreenAlba May 13, 2018 at 6:44 am #

        Janos

You’re not going to make any progress until you get a better idea of what equality means. Currently you are hindered by what you want it to mean. I’ve heard Jordan Peterson say what equality is and isn’t – what he said was not particularly original, it was just what I would have said, but for less money.

As you already know, my daughters are not equally educationally gifted. But they are equal. Try to get your head round it or you will not grow.

        • JohnAZ May 13, 2018 at 6:59 am #

          Equality

People by law are equal in the US, life , liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Anything that interferes with this is unlawful and should be dealt with. But not guaranteed jobs, not guaranteed income, not guaranteed cell phones, just guaranteed opportunity. Equality means colorblind, gender blind, political blind, religious blind. No ethnocentrism allowed, a very tough row to hoe.

          • Tate May 13, 2018 at 12:02 pm #

Yes, if only. That state of affairs existed for a short period of a year or two after passage of the Civil Rights act of 1964 IIRC. Then Johnson issued an EO to ‘fortify’ the law with affirmative action regulation and we haven’t had real equality under the law ever since.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 13, 2018 at 1:27 pm #

The Jews will never abide by that – nor will any other group. Only Whites are dumb enough to fall into that monkeyshines. Read the psychological abstract from McGill University. Better yet, read the whole study. Liberalism (and you are a Liberal in the larger sense) is exploited and sucked dry by ethnocentric peoples. They are ever stronger and the Liberal state ever weaker over time.

        • Janos Skorenzy May 13, 2018 at 1:24 pm #

Oh what crap. This is like you quoting snippets of the Gospel out of all context. If I really try to go into it, you just stop reading or won’t respond in any case. Anything I write henceforth is for myself and my readers.

There is no equality, outside of Law and Mathematics (and yes, spirituality – in a sense). I could respect your stance in a preliminary sense (until I knew exactly what you believed) at least if you applied it equally. But I’ve never met a Liberal who does. It always special treatment for minorities and criminals, and tearing down Whites and the victims of criminals. There’s an agenda that weaponizes the concept of equality.

And of course morality varies with IQ. You can’t expect Blacks to live up to White standards. To do so is cruel and only brings disaster to all when they fail. Equal treatment of unequal people is Tyranny. Properly understood, none of this mitigates against equal rights for THE INDIVIDUAL. But you’re not interested in such a mythical being. I never met a Liberal who was. So if you want to play groups, yeah, lets play groups. There is no equality there any more than at the individual level. Yes, the Law deal with individuals first and foremost, but social policy must deal with the nature of groups. The right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness means little outside the Freedom of Association. And of course as Tate (I believe) said, Whites aren’t granted group rights anymore – unlike everyone else. Liberalism isn’t Liberal, for us at least.

A supposed conservative that changed his tune totally, joined NBC’s group of idiots, and has been on Trump’s butt since the campaign. How dare you threaten our little Deep State cocoon. There is a reason people have been saying there is no difference between Dems and GOP in DC. It is because that difference is trivial compared to the Deep State Populist schism that the public is using to try to regain control of the country from these imbedded SOB’s in the Washington cesspool. George Will is just an example of how powerful the Deep State and its international allies are, and what Trump is having to deal with.

    https://www.thelocal.se/20180511/un-concerned-about-level-of-racism-in-sweden.
UN ‘concerned’ about level of racism in Sweden

The report pointed to “racist hate speech against
Afro-Swedes, Jews, Muslims and Roma”, a problem that the committee said is particularly prevalent “during election campaigns, as well as in the media and on the internet.”

“The Committee is particularly concerned with reports of arson attacks against mosques and reception centres for asylum seekers,” the report added.

Fires at asylum facilities around Sweden have occurred on several occasions since the number of migrants arriving in the country peaked in 2015. At least 112 blazes occurred at asylum accommodation centres, or planned accommodation centres, across Sweden in the following year, according to national police statistics.

Mosques have also been the frequent targets of both arson attacks and racist vandalism. The report criticized Sweden for a “lack of sufficient funding to safeguard mosques against attacks”.

“The Committee is also concerned at the continued reports of racist hate crimes and hate speech against Muslim ethno-religious minority groups, especially Muslim women,” the report stated, adding that Muslims in Sweden face “difficulties […] in terms of access to employment and housing outside of minority populated areas, amounting to de facto segregation.”

The report also pointed to the “stereotypical representation of Muslims in the media, and by politicians.”

The recent spate of public rallies by neo-Nazi groups like the Nordic Resistance Movement(NRM) also caught the UN’s notice.

“The Committee is concerned at the presence of racist and extremist organizations in the State party, and their public demonstrations,” it stated. The report further chastised Sweden for not investigating crimes by neo-Nazi groups as terrorism.

The UN CERD report was based on input from the UN Association of Sweden. That group’s chairman, Aleksander Gabelic, said earlier this spring that the nation’s leaders “must be more rigorous in dealing with racist and Nazi organizations.”

“The increasing threat from racist and Nazi groups must be addressed,” Gabelic said in conjunction with the report’s release. “It’s not fair that people should be afraid to be in the streets and squares of our cities.”

I hope that it was a swan song of anti-Putin protest. The country definitely needs another domestic policy, and everyone understands this, including the Kremlin.

From the Kremlin you can control military strikes in Syria or the routes of European gas pipelines. But the problems facing the village of Nizhnie Gryazi and the city of Ust-Zalupinsky will not be solved by the Kremlin. No Kremlin towers would be enough. To solve these problems, Russia needs a new model of the organization of society.

Green Alba, you ain’t gettin’ the point. The point is that in societal matters just as in economic matters, some arrangements have a future because they are workable, they comport with how humans are wired up, they obey the laws of physics and nature and comply with pure ole horse-sense.

And other arrangements have no future. Why? Because they do the opposite of the above, they are not workable, they do not comport with how humans are wired up, they try to defy the laws of physics and nature not to mention pure ole horse-sense.

And it’s as much in the societal realm as in the economic realm that the intelligentsia are spectacularly full of shit, “intellectual idiots” as some would call them, touting dispositions of things that have no hope in hell. They try to tell us that any old family arrangement is as good as any other with ever-changing casts of mommies and daddies coming and going, they tell us that men with long-term, good paying employment as the head of the family are a figment of Ozzie and Harriet TV- Land imagination, that such a thing never existed, that stable work is a historical fiction, that males are and were good-for-nothing parasitical rapist brutes that did nothing but spread sexually transmitted disease among family members and who pissed away family funds on booze and hookers and who knows what.

Of course some of this nonsense is knowingly spread disinformation by an intelligentsia that bloody well knows better. But they do it in defense of current economic arrangements that benefit the top tiers of society (including the intelligentsia) and that screw everyone else. That is, an economic arrangement where stable employment for men is in dire short supply so they portray this situation as always having been the case. Well, I can testify to the contrary. But some of the baloney is spouted by people that really believe what they spout.

In short Green Alba, this is a nasty world, if you look at what the evolutionary record shows us, up to 12,000 years ago there were humans in a profusion of forms, but after the agricultural revolution, selective pressures acted to eliminate – in a great hurry – human specimens that could not deal with the change in the post-glacial eco-system. They are extinct, bye-bye, and what remains, ie the people you see nowadays, contain a great deal less variation than not so long ago.

The “Holocene Filter” as some call it, killed off and homogenized the survivors. The point is that humans either get with the program as dictated by the physical world or they will die. Alternatively, they die and other people take their place in the order of things.

To whit, it does not take a village to raise a child, it takes two committed parents, that is a MOM and DAD, who will sacrifice for their offspring to an extent that non-parents will not.

Next, the vast majority of people are in-born with sexual preference and gender identity, genders are not “fluid”, these things are not determined by social conditioning and it is preposterous posturing and a ludicrous conceit by our supposed “betters” to pretend otherwise.

The last point is that the only viable way for our own society to have a future is through procreation and teaching the young ‘uns what’s what. It’s like this, if you DON’T then people of other societies, some with competing visions as to civilizational ordering, will. It’s that simple. They will take your place in the evolutionary scheme of things, your genetic inheritance and your way of life will vanish. Our intellectual superiors may insist otherwise. But in this as in most other things they are dreadfully wrong.

    • Janos Skorenzy May 13, 2018 at 3:38 pm #

She refuses or is unable to understand the current situation: Western Europe has a below replacement level birthrate, except for maybe Ireland which is at the replacement level. The Muslims are having four, five, or more kids per couple. To which side does the future belongs?

It’s simple math in the long term – and not that long either. Why? Because it’s accelerating, with the kids having kids. And that’s not even figuring in the ongoing mass immigration (she loves to use refugees as something completely different than immigrants, even if the conversation is about general population, a distinction without a difference except to derail the conversation). If not one more came in, Europe would still be theirs before 2100, one way or another, by hook or by crook.

      • GreenAlba May 13, 2018 at 6:36 pm #

Refugees are not the same as immigrants. It’s not my fault if you don’t understand that.

You should have got off your arse and marched against the Iraq war if you wanted to see fewer refugees. Did you?

You have no evidence whatsoever to show that Muslim families will be having four or five children 20 or 30 years from now. They’re not even having that many in their countries of origin and immigrant families typically reduce the number of children they have by the next generation.

        https://www.prb.org/menafertilitydecline/

        • Janos Skorenzy May 13, 2018 at 6:46 pm #

In terms of the growth of Muslim population, immigrant vs refugee is a difference that doesn’t make a difference.

They are winning Europe by the power of their women’s wombs. They know that. Why would they stop? Surely you don’t still believe that Liberalism is going to convert them? Rather, Islam is already converting Europe. Success is the ultimate argument….

The self inflicted wound of liberal democracy, by Mind Weapons

Liberal democracy is ending with a collective whimper.

White liberals have no will to live, almost by definition, and thus no will to fight in a way that matters.

Liberal activism never actually does anything productive; it never builds anything. The best example of what liberals actually DO, is the antifa database on white nationalists.

Policing right wing thought in an age of relentless economic decline is laughable. It’s like trying to bail out the sinking Titanic with Home Depot 5 gallon buckets.

Either the extreme left or the extreme right is going to come out on top after this. Two factions go in Thunderdome, only one comes out.

If society does not collapse from it’s own financial shenanigans, the Idiocracy will take much of the world to a lower level of complexity. Fast collapse — store shelves are empty. Slow collapse, they keep the corn syrup flowing and the grid and the internet running until people are too stupid to keep it going except in small pockets of rich people.

The Idiocracy means that the elites will not have a critical mass of smart and hard men to stop us. World War II was a battle between three tribes of very hard men (Russians, Germans and Anglo-Americans). Hard men will never again fight for the Jews, at least not in this historical era.

Even now, the elites have to import their talent because they destroyed America with the purposeful dumbing down and purposeful moral degeneracy and malign encouragement to harmful behavior. They import African immigrants for low skill labor, and Indians and Chinese for STEM.

Our most dangerous weapon is right between our ears. The Idiocracy means that the smart and hard men will be able to rise to the top.

As a personal update, I am practicing calculus 2-3 hours a day. I finally took the advice of the great Art Robinson, a physics professor who says the best way to learn math is to just teach yourself. I am using The Calculus Lifesaver by Adrian Banner for theory and proofs, and Calculus Problem Solvers by REA for lots of practice problems. It’s a really good way to do it. The Banner book is fantastic for explanations and proofs, and then solving a few dozen successively more difficult problems on that topic really drives the knowledge home. When I am satisfied that I have covered calculus, I’m going to do linear algebra, then physics, and then maybe circle back to a study of mathematical proofs. I have found that I am able to slow my mind down and follow mathematical logic and visualize mathematical functions. It’s very much like Zen meditation for me, and I would probably study math for 10 hours a day if I didn’t have to work. At the same time, learning math is immensely practical for generating income and liberating the self from the hamster wheel of money earning.

I saw at the University of Connecticut that American kids are not prepared for STEM majors and get failed out mercilessly, ending up in useless majors like English, psychology and communications (LOL). I am a military veteran and I have 2 years left of tuition waiver. I plan to go back after putting in about 3000 hours of self study, and hopefully be able to ace physics and math as good as the Chinese kids.

I really want to show the world that white boys can still do STEM, and not just pass, but get A’s. I excelled at the Defense Language institute in Russian language because of two years of intense study (both self study and classroom study and practice with Russian immigrants) and I plan to repeat the performance at UConn with physics.

And from there, when I showed it can be done, I want to persuade our people to home school their kids to a high degree of STEM achievement, and even persuade the Alt Right boyz that becoming engineers and plumbing the secrets of math, physics and thus the nature of existence itself, is the path to total Aryan victory.

People have been known to take their own lives for any number of reasons. Because they couldn’t master a perfect soufflé, because they couldn’t get their hair to part properly, because they didn’t get a pony for Christmas, because someone claimed they smelled bad, because they didn’t get into the right sorority, because their favorite Pomeranian died, any number of reasons.

If they don’t like their situation in the kitchen, let them remedy their ill fortune the old-fashioned way: arsenic in the Mister’s postprandial cocktail.

        • GreenAlba May 13, 2018 at 7:32 pm #

I didn’t say they had anything against ‘the Mister’. I said they couldn’t cope with living within the stifling limitations of the life you have the effrontery to tell them they should live.

And you haven’t mentioned any of the reasons for male suicides. You are aware that it’s young men who mostly kill themselves?
Maybe their soufllés weren’t up to standard.

      • Janos Skorenzy May 13, 2018 at 7:05 pm #

Nope. It will all be voluntary. Women are FOLLOWERS. We’ll make traditional life fabulous and glamorous again: Balls, the Art of Courtship, Big Weddings, Big families, etc. Just like young women are now seduced and shamed into careerism and unnatural life? We’ll end all that and move them back to natural life, the things Most naturally value the most and which are denied them now by the all pervasive propaganda of feminism.

Unusual women exist and can follow their own paths against the stream, just like they used to. And if regular women marry young, they’ll even have time for a career once the kids are older, if they want it. Nineteen Century America had many female doctors for example. And teachers of course.

The way we do it now is against the laws of nature: middle aged women trying to find a husband and have kids. What utter misery when they fail in one or both.

        • GreenAlba May 13, 2018 at 7:29 pm #

Have you even read A World Made by Hand, Janos? Balls? Big Weddings?

I have a theory, bolstered by observation, that the bigger the wedding the sooner the divorce. Because marriages aren’t about fancy weddings.

Re the rest of your diatribe, you live in a fantasy world. You know nothing about women. Absolutely nothing. But, like Tate, you don’t feel you need to. Because it’s all about You. Enough said.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 13, 2018 at 7:58 pm #

You may be one of those unusual ones. No matter. Most dwell within the dome of the Bell Curve. Church! And they will do the right thing as we will define it. Just as they do the wrong thing now. It all depends on whose preaching under the dome, eh? You folks will have Muslims preaching there soon, whether you will or not. You have invoked a process that you can’t control and obviously don’t understand. All because of your hatred for Western Culture and/or the White Race, and/or Men, and/or Christianity.

Muzzy in Paris not down with peace, love, understanding and tolerance toward white Christians, goes on a stabbing spree in the City of Light. Yes, there’s the blade again, elemental, rather primitive, but very effective. There is something primordial about knives and swords that strikes atavistic fear into the hearts of modern western city dwellers where it is almost unavoidable you come up close to strangers, in public transportation, on the sidewalk, in the elevator. Urban life requires a degree of trust in your fellow man, which is hard to maintain to any degree when your ‘fellow man’ is a stranger and an alien who would like to carve you up where you stand. In Brussels, in London, in Paris … its the Muzzies who rule the streets; European Christians, clear out if you know what’s good for you. You’ve been warned!

    V.,
You sez (long ago and far away):

“So do the distractionary and inflammatory tactics of on-line government trolls constitute an “abridgement” [of the 1st Amendment]? We’ve seen it on this site and still do. Is this contrary to the First Amendment when it does appear that government agencies are behind the attempt to fetter public discussion? Should this be tested in court?”

Well there, you’ve raised an interesting and thoughtful question! We can’t have that ’round these parts any longer without a thorough shouting-down.

Let’s just put it quite simply. If asshats want to control a blog space, control it they will. Is deliberate elbowing-aside by sheer volume of crankery and codswallop an abridgement? Probably not.

By extension that means (for me anyhoo) that this blog space has no further actual utility as a place to discuss what JHK is bringing forth week in and week out with his clever and incisive wordsmithing that peers into the heart of darkness and dares to laugh.

At any rate, V., I’ve got lots of stuff to do and preparations to make, because everywhere you go, there’s always an asshole, especially in what’s left of the USA. (Thanks for raising the issue, but I have no reasonable or strictly rational answer. The wind will blow and decrepitude and disrespect will own the dice.)

I say it is an abridgment. The activities are to prevent you from being read and discussed. That it would be difficult to establish in court is moot because it can’t ever get to court. The only court activity is activity we don’t know about but when a dog barks too much or too loud is a FISA warrant needed to harass? Most certainly not.

All they have to do is press a few buttons and follow people around. Since their actions only constitute theft of privacy and since they can stop following you any time they need to there are no consequences to worry about. I doubt they bothered getting a warrant to harass me.

What would they put on a warrant? We want to jack this guys comfort zone up so bad he does not know what is up or down. We are going to jerk him around so he knows there is no where to go left or right. He is a problem and we are going to make the problem go away so can you sign this your honor?

No, they just do it and they are untouchable unless such warrants can now be electronic documents. No way would paper be left around with such evidence for posterity.

      • K-Dog May 14, 2018 at 1:26 am #

I imagine all that is needed for FISA jurisdiction is to have one foreign reader.

        K-dog,
I guess the only place where real evidence of this legalized criminality is written down is in the “anti-terr’r” laws and legislation (and gov’t. attorney briefs as to how it can be applied). Trust that it’s *already* gone way too far (as you can attest), and they have no regard for the consequences of what they’ve set in motion.

The Steele Dossier is basically a file of fake “evidence” on Trump that Hillary paid for, through the US law firm, Perkins Coie, right?

I wonder if anyone was tortured to get the “evidence”. Americans are so dishonest. They’ll do anything. They’re so dishonest, they’ll believe anything too. Americans don’t give a shit about the truth.

  72. Pucker May 13, 2018 at 9:47 pm #

The biggest proponent of torture is Dick Cheney. Dick Cheney gave us Saddaam’s WMD and the Yellow Cake uranium tripe. Dick Cheney doesn’t give a shit about the truth. The Americans all bought into it.

Dick Cheney wants Torture because Torture is a useful tool in the hands of psychopathic flunkies to create a False Reality to justify whatever they want to do.

Many Americans can’t see a problem with someone with a grudge buying information from a dodgy source to attack an opponent. Nor can they see anything wrong with a person with an agenda attaching electrodes to a bloke’s balls to get information. Nor do they see anything untoward about “News” organizations that don’t employ reporters.

And they know that it’s all fake.

      We’re So Fucked!

Epidemic of dishonesty — kind of like Bloomberg’s campaign to disarm American citizens while he himself travels the world surrounded at all times by a well armed 17 man security detail?

Bloomberg is also a honcho in the Global Warming Cult as well, along with fellow billionaire Tom Steyer. This American Royalty want their world squeaky clean, not dirtied up by Joe Sixpack driving his Chevy Silverado in Buttf-k, Arkansas, with a Ruger Mini 14 in the gunrack.
