“Disinformation” is Just a Boot in Your Face

Behind all this is the growing panic in the Left that they are culpable for an enormous raft of crimes committed against their own country, and will eventually end up in court, in prison, or worse….

Since Elon Musk pounced on Twitter, are you not amazed to see just how dedicated to the suppression of speech the Left is? Censorship is the Left’s very spark-of-life. Everything they stand for is so false and lawless that truth magnetically repels them. Now, this may surprise you, but truth and reality are joined at the hip, so when you work hard to suppress one, you are also stomping the face of the other. “Disinformation” just means anything that the Left doesn’t want you to say out loud.

The truth is that everything the Left stands for these days is some kind of a hustle — which is the cheap street version of a racket, meaning an effort to extract something of value from you dishonestly. It’s the only way they know how to operate. It necessarily and chiefly depends on the deployment of lies, which by definition are propositions at odds with reality. The more they traffic in lies, the further they must distance themselves from reality and try to coerce you to go along with evermore absurdity: mostly peaceful riots… men-with-ovaries… free and fair elections…  insurrection… conspiracy theories… Lia Thomas in the fast lane… safe and effective vaccines…. Believe it or else!

The Left ends up at war with reality. That adds up to a bad business model for running a society, and the results are now plain to see. What in the USA is not failing these days? Our Potemkin economy of nail parlors, porn sites, pizza huts, casinos, drugs, and helicopter money? Our reckless relations with other countries? Public and higher education? Medicine? Financial markets? The sputtering engine of government under a phantom president? It’s all sinking into chaos and incoherence. For now, food just costs more than ever; wait until it’s simply unavailable. Nobody will care about anything else after that.

All this failure requires cover stories, narratives. Russia did it! Covid-19 did it! White supremacists did it! Trump did it! Narrative failure would equal failure of the Left altogether, so the Left requires the sturdiest possible apparatus for suppressing counter-narratives that lean in the direction of reality, its enemy. The Left found that apparatus in social media, the new vehicle for political debate, especially Twitter, which was so easily, blatantly, and dishonestly manipulated backstage by mysterious code ninjas. Twitter enjoys subsidy relations with government that incline it to do the government’s bidding. In effect, the government enlisted Twitter to undermine and over-ride Americans’ first amendment protections, by proxy.

Now we have the Disinformation Governance Board to be run by a TikTok musical comedy star, Nina Jankowicz, an instant laughingstock, since retailing disinformation has been her main occupation in the scant years she’s been on the Deep State scene. Ms. Jankowicz is a notorious RussiaGate hoaxer and psy-op agent in the October 2020 emergence of Hunter Biden’s laptop. She has zero credibility as anything but a professional falsifier. Her Disinfo Governance Board has no authority to regulate anything. It’s just a lame charade that can only draw more attention to the Left’s hatred of truth and reality. The Left pretends that free speech is a threat to civilization because, as usual, they are projecting psychologically. Their world is a mirror. In fact, the Left is a threat to civilization.

Behind all this is the growing panic in the Left that they are culpable for an enormous raft of crimes committed against their own country, and will eventually end up in court, in prison, or worse. Mr. Durham is just the leading edge of what will eventually be a heavy blade of judgment falling down on their necks. He’s busy sorting out the “Russia collusion” flimflam that turned into a coup to oust Mr. Trump, but that is only the beginning. In November, the Democrats will lose control of Congress and its oversight powers of agency operations, and in 2023 there will be inquiries galore into the neo-Jacobin craziness imposed on our country by the folks behind “Joe Biden.”

That includes such dicey matters as the several years of malevolent mismanagement of Covid-19, which looks more and more like a deliberate effort to kill a large number of citizens, and then moving along to the behind-the-scenes official support for those 2020BLM /Antifa riots, the ballot shenanigans around the last presidential election, the colossal failure to enforce border security (featuring Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkis), the Biden Regime’s conduct in provoking and prolonging the war between Russia and Ukraine, and (not least) the overseas moneygrubbing of President Biden’s family, as documented in Hunter’s laptop. I’m sure I left a few things out.

If Mr. Biden is still on-the-scene in January next year, he’ll be the first president not only impeached but convicted and removed by the Senate. And if for some reason he avoids criminal prosecution for treason out of some pitiful need for the government to maintain official decorum before the rest of the world, his brothers and his degenerate son may not be so lucky.

And it turns out the whole ‘Ghost of Kiev’ meme from the beginning of the Russia/Ukraine border dispute — a Ukranian pilot shooting down 8 Russian fighter aircraft which the western media made so much of — was just a load of Bullsh#t, it never happened, but was a scene lifted out of a video game.

ABC just reported the First Lady Jill Biden is flying into Kiev to meet with Zelensky — I thought Ukraine was such a hot war zone? How is it elite Pols from western Europe and the USA are flying into Ukraine on almost a daily basis? Why would Jill Biden of all people be showing up in Kiev?

    • Kim May 2, 2022 at 8:15 am #

I am sure that Mrs Defeater of Corn Pop will land in a helicopter under sniper fire if the narrative happens to demand it.

Why would Jill Biden of all people be showing up in Kiev?

The only Doctor I know who makes housecalls.

Supposedly these attention seekers travel by train from Poland to Kiev. Russia has control of the airspace I believe. If this was anything like a real war there would be no train service in west Ukraine. Not to mention electricity, internet, whatever. USA knocks all that stuff out on the first days bombing campaign. Vlad is going easy on the Z man.

      • TaxDonkey May 2, 2022 at 10:22 am #

Many people consider Vlad to be a moderate. Even much of the Russian population feels like they should take off the kid gloves. If Vlad were to get knocked out of the game for whatever reason, then it’s likely a really hard-liner would take his place. To me, Vlad looks like one of the biggest obstacles to all out WW3.

If Putin were to be removed, I think the nature of his replacement would depend upon how active the Deep State is really able to be in that part of the world. I don’t think the Russian people would tolerate our putting in a puppet, but that’s not to say we wouldn’t try. I think Putin has conducted a careful war, and is at least sane – which can’t be said for most of our operatives.

          • Blackbird May 2, 2022 at 7:48 pm #

No reason for Putin to be removed.

He is supporting his people (Russian Nationalists), and he is supporting the globalists (China’s courtiers).

USUK may have created the global plutocracy, but that doesn’t mean that they won’t be drained of all wealth and power by that plutocracy. In fact, the west has to be drained of that economic power for the globalists to rule the world.

          • TaxDonkey May 2, 2022 at 8:31 pm #

I don’t think Putin is supporting the globalists at all. They hate him and want Russia’s resources, which they’re not going to give up. The Davosians will wind up in the compost heap of history along with the rest of us. Local economies will emerge as the tectonic plates of change shatter the globalist paradigm, which all depends on centralized control and the cost of oil-based transport being negligible.

Putin may die of cancer, if news reports are accurate

    • Disaffected May 2, 2022 at 8:47 am #

Believe half of what you see with your own eyes and none of what you hear. Is she meeting with Z somewhere? Possibly? Is it in Kiev? Not on your life. Not without Vlad’s personal permission. This is ALL disinformation. The only question to be answered now is: are BOTH sides in on it? I think we’re being played.

      • benr May 2, 2022 at 9:02 am #

I have heard that a certain family funded both sides of many wars.
Could history simply be repeating over and over?

        • Disaffected May 2, 2022 at 9:07 am #

I was on the fence, but I’m more and more convinced now by the day. I think that’s exactly what’s happening. Cratering the dollar and the west and shifting the great con to the east is all a part of the plan, and both sides are being used to enact it. Look at it as the US is fully mature (in a crop sense) and is being harvested.

          • TaxDonkey May 2, 2022 at 10:25 am #

So you’re saying Xi and Putin are mere puppets of HomoGlobo WEF? I have my doubts about that. Those guys should be done once this collapse gets going.

          • Disaffected May 2, 2022 at 10:35 am #

The jury’s still out, but yes, it appears more and more that they’re in on it too.

          • Rowdypiglet May 2, 2022 at 2:07 pm #

I think it remains to be seen whether they’re controlled or not. I certainly hope not, though it’s possible. Putin seems to me to be a Russian patriot, and Xi has not shown his colors yet in that regard. Surely there is somebody in this mess of a world who is what they appear to be. Not that I’m counting on it, just hoping.

any string puller that insists on remaining in the shadows, and does so effectively, can rely on the accusation of “conspiracy theorist” to deflect attention and criticism.

i’ve concluded after years of reflection that knowing they exist is insufficient to dislodging these parasites from the human condition.

the lever that gets the most violent response is on the national level – such as libya and syria – neither of whom appear to toe the line wrt / participating in the global monetary game. prior to its overthrow, libya had africa’s highest standard of living – but quadaffi made the mistake of agreeing to participate in the gold dinar monetary experiement – proposed by none other than saddam hussein.

one common feature to these middle east overthrows is the first action upon victory – setting up a central bank.

ron paul was personna non grata in the 2012 election because he touched that central bank third rail.

one step further, which i really hope is opposable, is central bank digital currency. i think crypto currencies are only allowed to exist as a precursor to wide acceptance of cbdc.

how to fight it? never agree to cashless.

how to fight the spiders in the shadows? kennedy tried…

I’m trying like hell to put aside speculations about things over which I have no control. Allowing myself to be injected with a clot shot that increases the probability of my dying from stroke and heart malfunction— I’l pass in a New York minute!

Buying a 200 million dollar bunker in New Zealand— turned out to be not a good move by the super rich as that country goose steeped into the future leaving even Canada behind. But I never had 200 million $ anyway.

What I do have is two thousand $. Should I turn it into Gold, which at least in the future might buy heating oil? Goldbugs believe in the shiny metal because it was used as money back in the days of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. But the truth is that gold is as much a fiat currency as the Dollar or the Ruble. When Nixon decided to replace gold with paper all it took was a signature. The fantasy that gold is real money because of it’s use value is beyond silly.

Instead of listening to our host pontificate about how the Attorney General is going to somehow return our Democracy to a nation under the rule of Law I suggest you rent the movie “The Road.” The travelers on that Road still are under the illusion that Gold has some value, but when it comes down to it, a bullet for your gun is worth more. So I’m going to invest in something more valuable than Gold—- brass and lead.

My closet contains a 7mm Magnum elk and moose rifle along with 250 rounds of ammunition. Certainly enough to supply me with protein for the rest of my life. I also have a concealed carry pistol which is of little use as long as I stay out of bar fights! I’m thinking I should trade the toy pistol for a Glock with extended magazine if I ever have to protect my food cache. Along with a couple of thousand rounds of .223 NATO which will become the trading goods of the future.

        • Anthea May 5, 2022 at 3:00 am #

          @ Thorshammer:

I am thinking I’d like to have an AR-15, and I’ve been doing a lot of reading to figure out what kind I should get and what kind of ammo I will need.

But at least I now know what is meant by MLOK, 1:8 twist, and mil-spec.

It seems that this rifle is quite versatile–good for both hunting and home defense with the appropriate ammo. So it seems foolish not to own one, if you can afford it at all.

          • ThorsHammer May 5, 2022 at 5:08 am #

An AR15 isn’t really a hunting rifle unless you are hunting bunny rabbits. little whitetail deer, or long pig. Where I’m from elk and moose are more common than rabbits. And they fill up the freezer or smoker a lot faster. AR15’s do have the cheapest ammo and look the scariest if that is your goal.

If you are looking for a hunting rifle with the best long range accuracy and the lowest recoil, get a Creedmore 6.5 which has become the most popular modern hunting cartridge . They are available from $399.

          • benr May 5, 2022 at 9:25 am #

Get a ruger mini ranch instead.

Or one of the excellent built henry guns.

As far as calibers go you should also look at 30-06 bit pricey ammo wise but they will kill anything that walks on two legs or four in the world.

For actual home defense Remington magnum express shotguns are pretty well rounded.

          • Wizard of the Saddle May 6, 2022 at 8:20 am #

If you are going to buy an AR, you might as well purchase a reliable one. I’ve got two words for you on that: Daniel Defense.

Made in Georgia. Best mass-produced AR for the most part, but you need a tad over $2,000 to get one.

I let JB’s last “stimulus” pay for mine.

Movies? The Pandemic of Fear was founded upon the fraudulent misuse of the PCR test that according to it’s Nobel Prize winning inventor has no value whatsoever in medical diagnosis.

Yet the PCR test is still being used worldwide with approximately six hundred million tests administered over the course of 2.5 years to “prove” the scope of the “Pandemic.”

          • GreenAlba May 5, 2022 at 8:31 am #

TH – The PCR test is now being used on chickens, as a means of slaughtering millions of them by claiming they have bird flu. This not only affects the supply of chickens directly, but also the supply of natural fertiliser, just when the natural gas supply is in trouble, affecting the supply of chemical fertiliser.

The free range eggs I buy now have a notice on them warning that, for hygiene reasons, the birds now have to be kept in barns.

Somewhat like the human situation that’s coming? If we will be able to call it human. As Attorney Todd Callender pointed out to Reiner Fuellmich’s team, a genetically modified human may give ownership rights to the person who did the genetic modifying. And the genetically modified human may not legally have human rights, like the right not to be enslaved.

Sorry, I wandered a bit from PCR tests there, as is my wont. 🙂

They’ve gotten us used to fakey video. As someone who is a video editor, I can tell when the video is fakery. But when I point it out, the normies scream “conspiracy theory!” even in the ones where it was clear POTATUS’ hand passed right through a microphone in clear sight.

So even detecting the fakery doesn’t expose it because of the deep state controlled MSM and stupid trollage who do their work for them (and we know who they are up here in CFN land).

      Finally, a bit of recognition for our betters;

PELOSI IN UKRAINE, RECEIVES AWARD: A Congressional delegation, lead by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), toured Kyiv with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy over the weekend. She is the highest-ranking U.S. official to meet with the embattled leader in Ukraine. Speaker Pelosi also received the Order of Princess Olga for her “significant personal contribution” to U.S.-Ukrainian relations.

Yesss the Forward Observer this AM reports that, the Order of Princess Olga was presented to our Nancy.

…Wasn’t Olga the one that was rumored to be screwing horses?

Perhaps Ukranian Horses have different rules of engagement….

No. Catherine the Great was a great leader of Russia.

She had human lovers. Actually, only serially. She favorites.

For heaven’s sake, we have to have enough shit about Russia shoved up our noses. Don’t add to it.

It is because of Catherine the Great that Russia “owns” Crimea and a large portion of the Ukraine.

          Catherine the Great,

      • Socrates-Detroit May 2, 2022 at 12:37 pm #

Princess Olga award to Nancy Pelosi….

That statement is so full of irony—where to begin? I started with google/wiki… From them:

Princess Olga of Kievan Rus. RUS. So, this Princess Olga, around 950AD, became a Christian, baptized by no less than the emperor of the Byzantine Empire.

(As in Russia. This is not my thing, someone in this space can better articulate, but my sense is that Kiev, as in Kievan RUS, is the cradle of Russia (if not the birthplace))

Her grandson, Vladimir, also became Orthodox, and established Orthodoxy as the religion of his people (the Orthodox monks Saints Cyrillus and Methodius created the “Cyrillic” alphabet, which has its roots in the Greek alphabet). They also came up with Church Slavonic, which is what I believe the liturgy is conducted in, in Russia, and other slavic countries.

Over time, through ups and downs, by the 1700s, Tsarist Russia became a large, powerful country, even though it was not a technologically advanced as Britain and France, and later Germany.

So, Ukraine and Russia are branches off the same tree. Kievan RUS drifted east and north and became Muscovite Russia. In the 1700s, Peter the Great built a new capital in St Petersburg.

Between 1000 and 1700, parts of the Ukraine were overrun, at various times, by Poland/Lithuania or Sweden. The Crimea, that we hear the media bleating about constantly, the Russians liberated it from the Ottoman Turks when George Washington was a child.

So, the Russians probably also revere Princess Olga too. Ironic.

And to give any award, that has any semblance of prestige from any nation, to Nancy Pelosi, is to deprecate and cheapen it beyond measure.

Kind of like a Wotan Award confected by the original Nazis.

    • SmokieHillVillain May 2, 2022 at 10:59 am #

Indeed, the levels of propaganda are stratospheric.

At once it seems that Kyiv (is that Key-ev or Keev?) and its environs are embroiled in a fully fledged assault by Russian military, while also in Kyiv Boris Johnson goes on a walking tour of the Maidan with Zelensky.

Interestingly, the Irish Foreign Minister Simon “Bilderberg” Coveney also went to Kyiv but unlike Johnson who wore a business suit, “our guy” wore the flak jacket and caused a mini kerfuffle when he chose to bring along the Irish police Emergency Response Unit (ERU) rather than the Irish Army Special Forces Unit (the Ranger wing), “for protection”, which led to some bruised egos and revealed some inter-agency rivalry in our little islandic pearl.

So much for a jolly to a live war zone.

What looks like credible information here from Eva Bartlett:
(she also has a You Tube channel, for as long as it’s allowed to stay up)

      and the ongoing cover-up:

I guess that many, or perhaps most, of Jim’s followers have already seen this:

Didn’t somebody once say that the first casualty in war is truth?

      Sublime article today as usual.

Thanks for the Itish news. I follow it second-hand because it makes me want to be sick. so Coveney brought along ourparamilitary police force?

        • SmokieHillVillain May 3, 2022 at 6:51 am #

          He did indeed Sean.
I suppose I should have clarified for US readers – he brought along the equivalent of a SWAT team, rather than Delta Force, Seal team or green berets. Something like that.
ah, it is sickening Sean. The propaganda is off the charts. The main channel RTE – which I and many people I know stopped watching almost 2 years ago such was the daily dose of Covid-related death and destruction – is something akin to DNC or Clinton Foundation central. Dripping with bias. Total lack of impartiality.
And people – a lot, though not all – have gone a little crazy. Ukraine flags everywhere.
Lots of talk about Ireland joining NATO – my tuppence worth is that the decision has already been made, so whatever about the reality of Irish neutrality, where unlike say, Switzerland, we don’t have any appreciable self-defence capability – it was something that was symbolically important.
Coveney – or forces behind him – will likely dismantle it. I could go on but I don’t want to bore readers.

That said, the recent Russian military exercises, south west of Ireland did make US media. The Irish Government has been letting the naval service wither on the vine, so-to-speak, but that seems now like a strategic policy. Besides, apart from fishery and drug interdiction, our navy has no serious offensive capability, and no ASW capability whatsoever. In reality, a glorified coast guard.

Yes sanspeur, while I do like what our host thinks may happen, the fake election two years ago was only the first and clearly not the last. I have seen total vote counts from 2020 at 81M for Dopey Joe and 74 M for Trump. So, they are claiming that almost half of the people in the US voted? Since there are 300M people in the USA, that would mean that every adult and probably some of the children in the country voted? That’s absurd!

Oh, that’s right, Americans don’t do math. Wow, what a bunch of dipshits.

However they’re allowed to. But the leash will be much shorter this time.

          • Rowdypiglet May 2, 2022 at 2:48 pm #

If it happens, the public will do the same thing as last time. The only difference will be that everyone will know without question exactly what happened. But they will still have no more than the same tools they had last time with which to mount an opposition. They’ll have all the proof they need, but no one who matters will want to see it. I suppose there could be BLM-type riots if you push people far enough, but that would give them an excuse to declare martial law and put people in camps. There would be no kid gloves, as there were for Antifa.

I just checked online with the US Census site and the official numbers for the 2020 election are:

Total registered voters – 168 million
Total percentage that voted – 66.5%
Total votes that counts for – 112 million

Total votes received by Trump & Biden – 156 million

If these numbers confuse you, please consider never voting again.

Sanspeur, I tend to agree with Jim in that if we don’t get some justice (Russiagate, Biden’s corruption etc… etc….) for all this, then we simply don’t have a country anymore. Perhaps his misplaced optimism stems from that core understanding. However, maybe the Dems will get swept away in a landslide this November since too many people are on to the voter fraud for that to be as effective as it previously was. Not that a red wave will save the country, but it might go a long way to get some payback theatre on some of the woke sh!t that’s been going on.

      • Socrates-Detroit May 2, 2022 at 2:16 pm #

Yes, I’m with you. I’m at a loss to explain JHK’s “optimism” about the “heavy blade of justice”.

I certainly hope he is right, but I can’t see more than a minor slap, if that.

Two things: on the high-end, the corruption permeates the entire system. So the accusers cannot probe too deeply, lest they reveal themselves.

On the low end, well, look around you. Most people (for many reasons–I don’t always blame them, but I do not totally absolve them either) are unaware, ignorant, or indifferent, and very pre-occupied with their lives. Building castles in the sand…. it is a CFNation!

        • TaxDonkey May 2, 2022 at 8:36 pm #

As the system becomes more unstable, it could violently shift this way and that. The Hillary cabal could wind up on the guillotine I guess. You never know.

      • Rowdypiglet May 2, 2022 at 2:50 pm #

If the Dems do get swept out, it will be interesting to see the behavior of Republicans who will have been elected specifically because they’re (believe not to be) RINOs. If they then proceed to betray the voters who put them in office, something really interesting could happen. As I said, even innately law abiding people can be pushed only so far.

That smoking crater really is reality.
For years they said we had a gun problem, but the truth is we have a sanity problem.
Proof just look at anything Democrats have been pushing as an agenda and policy since at least Obama. Forty years ago they would all have been put in an I love myself jacket and liberally dosed with some mind bending drugs.
The Democrat party really does appear to be a loose collection of freaks, weirdos, communists and anarchists.
The smoking craters liter the landscape in the form of Democrat run cities my own city self labeled the finest city in the world part of which now look like skid row in Los Angeles or the war zone areas in Ukraine.
Filthy trash everywhere, fecal matter all over the ground and sprayed on buildings and reeking of urine. Bidenvilles popping up on the bridges not under them now.

I watched a middle aged lady yelling at a street post the other day.
As I walked by I asked if she was winning the argument and I will be damned but she stopped looked at me confused and said ” I don’t know” and for just a moment I could see a hint of sanity.
Then she turned around and double her effort to win against her personal windmill.

I can’t just blame Democrats as Republicans have not done anything and there are just to many people now to go down and hand out water or sandwiches. In fact it has grown rather dangerous to wander around some of these shantyvilles.
Several are now epicenters from theft, rape and even murder.
For the first time in my life I have little hope about what is coming.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has pledged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky forthcoming aid

Pelosi was in Kyiv on Saturday as she led a coalition of Congress to Ukraine.

        Apparently echoing Pelosi’s comments:

Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO): said during the Sunday Poland press conference.
“The United States of America is in this to win, and we will stand with Ukraine until victory is won,” he said.

        J. Crow is apparently implying: ‘the United States is in this fight all the way down to the last Ukranian’

        Accompanying Pelosi:

Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY), the chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee
Adam Schiff (D-CA), who is in charge of the House Intelligence Committee
Jim McGovern of Massachusetts, the House Rules Committee’s chair

Leftist policies always are strong in the law of negative unintended consequences!

Take the war on plastic bags to save flipper or crush and squirt.
At first it was to be an outright ban and them somehow it became a well you get to pay for it with an upgraded even sturdier plastic bag.
They simply passed on the cost of said bags to the consumer.
Then we get the holy quest of using multi use bags of questionable material which they then said NO it could be covid infected!
Those single use plastic bags are what many homeless people pooped into tied up and disposed of and everyone knew to shy away from them should they encounter one in the street.
      Now they just shit everywhere.

Straw bans now all the straws are paper and useless.
Instead of mandating plastics made from soy oil that biiodegrade into harmlessness they went back to killing trees.
Give me back the sturdy brown paper bag please.
For the love of Christ enough with the useless feel-good legislation get back to common sense!

We are departing Oceanside today after a week stay.

I am very disappointed in San Diego. We have been visiting here for fifty years, the first was being in the Navy in 1967.

San Diego reflects the Liberal decline in California. It is really simple. Put lipstick on a pig. Do straws, do silly little showplace things to make it look like you are doing something.

Instead of maintaining roads, cleaning litter, housing the homeless, controlling the mentally impaired, cleaning the beaches, etc.

San Diego is not the prime city it used to be.

I was living in Portland when, to much fanfare, plastic bags were banned. It didn’t seem to apply to East Asian stores or restaurants. And you could get a big Target shopping bag after two months or so. Then some six months or so later, the bags started coming back everywhere to no fanfare whatsoever.

Was it the general ban too hard on the homeless, who make much use of them?

        • MaryQueen May 2, 2022 at 12:21 pm #

The plastics industry must have a very formidable lobby.

        • D from OR May 3, 2022 at 10:04 am #

Unfortunately, for now, I still live here. The plastic bag ban is in Multnomah County which is why if you happen to cross over to Clackamas County to do your grocery shopping you can get a plastic bag.

Oh and if you want a paper bag to hold your groceries in Mult. Co. you must pay 5 cents per paper bag.

Oh and if there’s a pandemic then you can’t use your own bag – might be contaminated!

Think is all sounds stupid? It is.

beer — What Pelosi, Newsome and the rest refuse to address is that the state and federal government are subsidizing this destruction. I worked in detox/rehab for 20+ years and have no illusions about homelessness/drug abuse/crime. For the people who are genuinely mental ill and homeless, there’s no protection at all from the criminal element that preys on them. The police have lost control of their ability to police effectively by not arresting anyone who’s “just a low level dealer” without realizing that’s the only place to start to cut access to cheap drugs.

San Francisco is a terrible prophecy for what could happen in American cities if a clear-eyed policy isn’t implemented.

(what the heck is a star that doesn’t want to shine forever?)

Conservatives can’t prevent change; progressives can’t control it. Due to the constraints with which they were conceived, humans are unable to successfully tackle a third way. Their fate is sealed.

You can fight it or accept it.
Resisting means trying to change others; accepting means trying to change the self.
Resistance is hard and futile; acceptance is harsher and yet, smooth (once achieved.)
Either way, things shine, and then fade.

The fire burns bright until the watcher sleeps (and sleep he must, ’cause sleep is granted, awaken’s not.)

Resistance is NOT futile. Change will come, no doubt – but resistance will shape the change. We are, after all, self-determined. Unfortunately, the left is suicidal, and the right keeps hitting the snooze button.

The left has infiltrated the right. I hope for a reckoning of all the mischief, but I’m not the least certain it will come. Whoever is pulling these strings has been all-in for a long time, and they are calling the shots. I don’t think we’re going to vote ourselves back to Kansas.

Change must be given it’s due as inevitable, but it must be facilitated by strong OPEN minds.

Capitalism funds Communism. The snake now bites his own tail. Some Communists never got the memo and aren’t going to like their imaginary victory.

Why did they fund it? As a weapon against the Middle Classes, as an infiltrator to non-modern nations, and of course as a weapon against the Fascism and National Socialism (the white blood cells of defense) that rose up against them to save the body politic.

        • justanotherguy May 2, 2022 at 8:20 pm #

jar, surprised that you, who seem to be careful to speak with some precision, would make such a general statement.

the system funding communism is budding tyranny, wrapped in crony capitalism or oligarchic capitalism – both much more similar to fascism – an elite in effective control of everything.

capitalism is simply investing saved excess productivity for the sake of profitable advancement.

the world needs a notion of useful advancement, certainly not tied to infinite growth (impossible anyway), but perhaps infinite improvement.

its like we’ve lost faith in the things that gave us all the advancements that have made our lives better, and have no sense of a worthwhile goal for the future. there is a way to save for the sake of investing in a better future – maybe it just need a new aspirational name, since no one trusts any of the old ism’s any more…

      • Rowdypiglet May 2, 2022 at 2:59 pm #

Yes, they’ve been all-in for a long time, and this is the left’s advantage over us. They’ve been willing to play a long game, infiltrating academia, churches, government, schools, pretty much everything. When they get inside any entity, they consume it from within, like some kind of insect that eats the wood of your house and excretes it as waste. They never stop and they seemingly never tire. They hide very effectively until it’s safe to come out into the open, which we’ve seen them doing in their takeover of the public school system. By the time that happens, they’re in every nook and cranny. We don’t have any of these characteristics, and we’d better learn to develop them or it’s finished for good.

Watched that old flick ‘Three Days of the Condor’ this past weekend. It mirrors some of the current day debacles, but in those days people still had some steel in their spine and no social media to hid behind. The ‘Left’s progressive big mouth springs from their ability to remain largely anonymous and from their seething resentment of all things ‘Boomer’ or anyone (like Elon Musk) exhibiting Boomer tendencies. He dreams too big and embraces truth too much for their taste. I figure the boiling point will be mid summer, when it’s hotter than a cat on a tin roof, and all the chickens have come home to roost. Russia should be holding its War Crime Tribunals then (probably in Donbas where they still have the death penalty as Russia does not), supply shortages and inflation will be kicking everyone where it counts, and almost certainly there will be some new madcap gun violence event to capture the attention of the American public. It just might be time for the second coming of Christ. Wonder what he or she will look like this time. It might be a less kind and benevolent version. Personally, I can’t wait.

    • Disaffected May 2, 2022 at 9:02 am #

Great movie (Condor), but I wouldn’t be counting on saviors from this world or any other interceding in our self-destruction. Jim’s takedown of the left this morning is certainly on point and true in all aspects, but it’s what he didn’t say that’s even more ominous. It’s the right’s maniacal stupidity for all these year’s that gave the left the political room to go off the deep end in the other direction in the first place, and given the chance in 2022 or 2024, the right will offer up something every bit as ridiculous and dangerous too in its own right. Count on it.

Most everything on the national stage is being staged now with the express purpose of taking down the US as going concern. We’ve exceeded our shelf-life. No longer credit-worthy or credit capable, we’ve consumed everything we’re capable of consuming and now must be put down to make way for the next great consumerist wave in the global capitalist game. Spoken biblically: As we have consumed others, so shall we be consumed. As it is written, it will be and is being done.

      • Not_GeorgeT May 2, 2022 at 11:01 am #

Is it the ‘right’s maniacal stupidity’ or a two-sided coin?

Some of us raised money after 2016 to sue the uniparty over the way the ‘presidential debates’ were designed (devised?) and conducted. Couldn’t gain traction in the courts.

          • Jarek May 2, 2022 at 11:54 am #

The two headed Axe is a classic symbol of Fascism. Like Janus, Fascism looks both to the Past and the Future. How can one know what to do unless one knows what has been done and worked in the past?

Imagine letting greed heads export your industrial base to to other countries! Where were the Warriors to walk into those offices (both Corporate and Governmental), grab them by the hair and bang their heads against their desks until they changed their minds?

Of course in a functioning nation, it wouldn’t come to that because they would know better than to even try it. I was just being graphic.*

*If their hair was short, then changed to lapels and wall.

        • Rowdypiglet May 2, 2022 at 3:07 pm #

We couldn’t gain traction in the courts because the courts, as everyone here knows, are infested with leftists and are entirely political. How did that come to be? It doesn’t happen overnight. It’s been a long process, and we’ve stood by while it happened. It seems to me that the nature of the right is such that we just don’t have the kind of ideologues and zealots that are found on the left – people who are the first to shout “heretic!” and who are fundamentally unable to leave other people alone. They work at it 24 hours a day, in everything they do, whereas we only get worked up when things get close to the point of no return. Then we flail around a good bit.

          • Disaffected May 2, 2022 at 4:04 pm #

Well, but notice who rubber stamped all this fuckery in the judiciary? The Supremes heard the leftists’ tune and got right up and joined in the dance with no problem at all. Their veneer stripped away, they revealed that they were essentially no different at all. Remember Obama chastising Roberts at the SOTU over Citizen’s United? In hindsight, I’m just surprised either one could keep a straight face.

“from their seething resentment of all things ‘Boomer’ or anyone (like Elon Musk) exhibiting Boomer tendencies”

We are where we are at precisely because of Boomer tendencies which have been at best all about maintaining status quo and stealing from the future.

I could go on in great detail but simply Musk, like myself and millions of others, are Gen X.

The love of all things Boomer isn’t universally shared but you guys never seem to get it.

The Boomers were our parents. We know your type and how you operate. Claiming someone who is likely 25 years your junior as part of your generation is a very good example.

      Dream on.

      • megabeth May 2, 2022 at 11:00 am #

Hey, get your hackles down. He just said “Boomer tendencies”. I’m an old Xer with Silent Generation parents and older Boomer siblings, and I have a lot of Boomer tendencies, myself. But as an Xer, I have learned how to be a scrapper in tougher economic times than the Boomers had to deal with. I’m not bitter and casting blame, though.

        • D from OR May 3, 2022 at 10:14 am #

Hackles aren’t up. Boomers just do this kind of thing all the time and its annoying especially since its rarely called out.

The point was Musk just can’t be a renegade on his own it must be “Boomer tendencies” that gave him the juice. Of course….

If you’ve got some “tendencies” hopefully they are only minor ones like a penchant for classic rock instead of the dominant one: narcissism.

Interesting that it is “the left” that has turned into what is essentially a new form of crime family which reinforces the Latin origin of the very word itself, evolving from “sinister”. Growing up in New Jersey during the time period that I did, I retain vivid memories of the Mafia, Coza Nostra, Black Hand and all of the other mobs that often battled each other openly in the streets of New York and New Jersey. The organized crime entities that worked hand in hand with Alan Dulles and the CIA spooks on many endeavors including the attempts to murder Fidel Castro.

The Kennedy brothers were keenly aware of this fact of which RFK wrote about in detail in his book, “The Enemy Within”. They were both concerned that this unholy marriage of crime and government would result in the corruption of our still not totally corrupt government. Clearly, he was correct, and they both paid the price for their insight. Hollywood even confirmed the plan when Don Corleone spoke to his son of the day when the families would be able to buy and become the government with the massive amounts of profit, they were able to amass on the streets.

As I look around us these days, even at the small, local levels it is clear that everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is run by bullies, by criminals, by con men and hucksters. The sad and most disturbing part of it all, at least for me, is that the bulk of the regular people actually accept this as the new way things are done and bow down to whichever bully is beating them down at the time. At the rate we are going, it will not be long before our technologies will be used to round those of us up who speak out against the criminals and implement a new, Final Solution.

I am beginning to have a change in heart about Joe Biden, his VP, and those other crooks that rule us all. I’m starting to think that they are the perfect crew to lead a frightened mob of cowards and shirkers into the abyss, and Dopey Joe is the perfect patsy at the top for he can shed all of the insults and criticism hurled at him with his non-functioning, empty brain cavity.

Yes, the Left pretends to be always right, and the Right clearly is always wrong. Sounds like what was foretold to happen, doesn’t it?

    • MaryQueen May 2, 2022 at 9:34 am #

      Well said, Walter B.

Scary Poppins might be the best example of the left’s absolute crazy tap-dancing distraction show. I can’t imagine that these people don’t know what they are doing – just putting more and more ridiculous clowns in charge to see how the populace will react, or perhaps just to try to ‘queer’ the country. Who knows.

Jo Jo Magoo’s performances this past week defy common sense to the nth degree. He’s made some major gaffes that no one else would have ever gotten away with. But the left ignores it. I wonder how much longer they can pull that off.

      • Night Owl May 2, 2022 at 10:21 am #

    • Disaffected May 2, 2022 at 9:52 am #

Excellent Walter. The mob was also notorious for letting their old guys – looooong past their prime – rise to the top job before finally getting the bloody send off from some ambitious up and comer. “The churn” was generally encouraged and was considered for the most part to be good for business, as it allowed the most enterprising to display their skills and advance because of them. A genuine meritocracy, if you will. In the mean time the old guys could provide a measure of stability while they were on top and hopefully pass on at least some of the wisdom of the generations to the youngsters before they met their bitter end. Their lavish funerals being their just reward in this world for faithfully hewing the party/family line.

In the mean time for the rest of us, it might be time to “go to the mattresses” to protect what little we’ve got while we still have it and contemplate what comes next, because whatever comes next for this society/world certainly doesn’t include us.

Reality (as JHK pointed out in the post) is about to bite and bite hard. Here’s a little something to ponder along with inflation, less food and other surprises the Biden voters didn’t know they’d signed up for :

“For the first time in history, Lake Powell has dipped below 3,525 feet. A drop of 32 more feet will mean the cessation of hydroelectric power production at the Glen Canyon Dam.

Bryan Hill runs the public power utility in Page, Arizona, where the federal dam is located and likens the situation to judgment day.
Hill says: “We’re knocking on the door of judgment day – judgment day being when we don’t have any water to give anybody.”

That’s absolutely true. I have young relatives with degrees in history who know nothing about either civics OR history. It’s worse though – they believe they “know” a great deal, and it’s all completely wrong. This foundation of lies is built on every day, and is the reason why they readily believe that many unarmed black men are shot by the police every day – and other such absurdities. When challenged, they produce so many layers of fantastical imaginings that there’s no thread you can get hold of and give it a pull to begin unraveling their lunacies.

        • SW May 2, 2022 at 4:57 pm #

Rowdy & Jarek — The basics about the constitution might as well be written in ancient Greek and history is whatever is passed off as true by NYT. 1619 Project (book) was immediately debunked by real historians with facts but no matter.

And I doubt 1 in 100 could actually explain what “conflict of interest” is and why it’s destroyed so much of our government.

I’m not optimistic about our country’s ability to recover from the years of mismanagement and outright deception. I don’t think Elon Musk, even if he’s completely sincere about restoring free speech to Twitter, will have that big of an impact.

There’s a theory in sociology called Path Dependence and it’s essentially (if I’ve understood it correctly) the observation that once a country has progressed down a certain path, it just keeps going down that same one even if destruction is at the end. In other words — they can’t learn from past mistakes, or learn from history or look at what they’re doing and see, realistically, where it will end up. It’s willful blindness.

      Walter B:

The relationship between the USA’s underworld and “upperworld” is deconstructed in detail by Gus Russo in The Outift and Supermob, both outstanding, highly documented, and readable books. Of note is his documentation of how one crusading journalist after the next who tried to get the story about the Mob was sidelined, whole archives and dossiers of evidence were disappeared, etc. It is not as though no one tried to inform the American people of the rot in their midst. .

In the former he provides a blow-by-blow of the push-you-pull-me between the Mob and the JFK campaign in the last days and hours of the 1960 election.

Great info also on Joe Kennedy.

      Very readable.

Supermob is more focused on how the Mob made Las Vegas—an SMO (Special Mob Operation) basically run out of Chicago, the caopital city of Mobstan. I don’t say Mafiastan because the Jewish Mob was at least as powerful as the Italian Mob. Probably more so.

In fact, I reckon it is a major PR coup that the Jewish Mob succeeded in basically going legit—blending in with the Upperworld—and tarring the Italians with the “mob” label. This the Jewish mobsters did basically via sending a few of their children to law school and setting up nonprofits, etc. They ran circles around the goyishe wogs, Irish, etc.

Russo also has some interesting insights into Hoffa’s early union activities and political convictions and loyalties. According to Russo, Hoffa started out as a genuine working-class hero, championing the working man. Seems like he and others could not resist the blandishments of the US political system (of which I consider the Mob to be a part).

        • Rowdypiglet May 2, 2022 at 3:22 pm #

I think they’re worked up into a frenzy, as they become when the level of awareness rises a bit, but that’s not the same as fear. It motivates them to be ever more active in pushing their many related agendas and punishments. I admire Jim’s optimism, and occasionally I’m able to savor a bit of it myself. He could be right, and I hope he is. But, on the whole, they’ve gotten away with everything so far, no matter how egregious, and I see no real reason why they shouldn’t continue to do so.

George, The elites are terrified, they’re running scared. Trust the plan. The good guys are playing 4D chess. They fleeing from the sinking ship. We’ve heard that for about 8 years now.

        • Blackbird May 2, 2022 at 8:59 pm #

I think the “Left is scared” rhetoric is intended to: 1) provide false hope to the “right”, 2) invigorate those on the “left” to double down on their support for the “Joe Biden”.

        • workingclasshero May 3, 2022 at 1:23 am #

And worse news on that front. The Supreme Court is probably going to overturn Roe vs Wade, and this will give a huge boost to whatever brand of Gender Kreig in play heading into the November Midterms. First Putin saves the Biden Administration, now possible abortion restrictions will save the Dems.

They were still the party of the workingman………..kinda.
Then like a virus they mutated.
Sold out the workingman for globalization.
Now they represent race war between whites and blacks-all things good for mega-corps and billionaires and the glorification of mentally ill homosexuals and pedophiles !
Its no longer a political party !
    Its a suicide/death cult !
If you want this insanity to end you will have to destroy the democrat party.
Once that is done……….destroy the CUCK faction of the cult…………the repubs !
    Any questions ?

Excellent article today, James! Thank you.

As usual, I wish I could share your optimism that any of the absolute monsters running things would see some sort of comeuppance but I still doubt that will happen. Still, there ARE tipping points when things get too insane, and things tend to balance out. Whether or not that happens before a complete collapse is another thing altogether. It appears they are moving in tandem. By design.

    Loved this line:

“Narrative failure would equal failure of the Left altogether, so the Left requires the sturdiest possible apparatus for suppressing counter-narratives that lean in the direction of reality, its enemy.”

Forced censorship is the last desperate act of cowardly scam artists who fear exposure.

I don’t see the Dems losing anything in November, not when they have so thoroughly rigged the election process. They could probably get a garbage truck elected at this point. (I’m sorry, that’s already happened.) It’s the reason I’ve retired from voting.

You may call them “the Left”, but I prefer to call them what they really are: Professional-managerial class shit-libs. And the spiritual energy with which they have flooded our society can be truly called “demonic”. If society takes a sharp rightward turn after the events of 2020, 2021, and 2022, it will not surprise me in the least. Not being too dismayed by it is something I will have to work on, I guess.

    • Disaffected May 2, 2022 at 10:07 am #

Yes. I think hard right is the next turn in the great race to oblivion, although much of what “the left” is doing now is already hard right in terms of totalitarianism. All the traditional left/right lines are being blurred as we speak.

A teacher friend of mine just said that in her smaller class with 11 kids, 3 are unjabbed, and the rest are. Out of those 7, only 3 are doing OK, and 4 are sick all the time, and with bizarre things happening to them (including things that require hospitalization). The 3 who are not jabbed are completely healthy and never sick.

It should be obvious by now that the jabs maim and kill, and yet people are too stupid or in denial to see it.

Ever since votes have been bought, and power obtained with money, this country has been heading down.

Taking stock now, the MSM has been purchased lock, stock and barrel by the progressive Left. Want proof, look at the reaction of the Twitter board and employees at the idea of free speech.

Michael Douglas, of all people, said it well in The American President.

Democracy in the US means that you have to be able to listen to someone tear down everything you believe in, then shake his/her hand.

      That is slightly paraphrased.

His viewpoint was from the Left, but now the Disinformation people are on the Left.

And they are much better at it than the Right, controlling the press, the bureaucracy, the magazines, the social media the Department of justice including the federal, state judiciaries and our investigatory agencies.

Their ability to bribe people with free money is coming to an end. We’re about to see price shocks in natural gas and diesel. I was looking at charts showing that our natural gas production has hit all-time highs, however our stored reserves are at all-time lows because “Joe Biden” is exporting record amounts, which will guarantee shortages in the homeland. Similar story for diesel. Global production of crude oil, the king of fossil fuels, is now declining. We may be looking at down part of the roller coaster ride of Hubbert’s oil curve.

I’ll add the producers sell the production to Europeans because they make more money exporting it to them, being the EU countries are already energy-screwed and in dire need of the product.

Way back when Dubya introduced the new department, I keyed in on the name and realized we were in even deeper trouble than the times suggested. Then he sold it by putting Tom Ridge in charge of it.

The USA, to my knowledge, was never referred to as ‘the homeland’ prior to this.

IMO, it has never fit. We’re a country of mongrels, to put it bluntly. The ‘melting pot’. … The most common heritage item we likely share most in this country is either we or our ancestors started out somewhere else and came here as immigrants.

We were talking recently about the vaccine injured, and I said I didn’t personally know any, but I did know vaccinated people who were getting covid left and right.

Saturday I happened to glance out my window, and I noticed a neighbor who had started to climb the stairs to his back deck. He was clinging to the railing, leaning over, and it looked as if he could not catch his breath.

I don’t know how long he had been that way. He straightened up and went into his house very shortly after I noticed him there.

This is a nice person with a nice family and all he does is work hard, and he works at a job that would have “required” him to get vaccinated.

I don’t know where to go with this horror I feel. There is nobody in my life I can even tell about it.

Well, that’s the value of boards such as this, to make skeptical people feel less isolated.

In my own life, I only know one immunocompromised 60-something male with at least one comorbidity who had a terrible reaction to the Moderna injection.

On the other hand, I have close relatives nearing 80 that have been pumped full of Moderna and….nothing. One of them even has comorbidities.

Yet, looking around at the numbers in VAERS and the athletes dropping like flies, there is something definitely afoot…

      • Paula D May 2, 2022 at 11:04 am #

I think that a lot of people got saline, probably by design, although the story we were told about plucky drug companies rising to the dire emergency and manufacturing millions of doses of fragile mRNA concoctions that had to be kept at minus 70 degrees F at all times, should make people skeptical even without the evidence of some people keeling over and some not even having a sore arm.

        • Islander May 2, 2022 at 4:49 pm #

Well, according to Yeadon’s data (can’t recall who first analyzed the batches), only certain batches were “kill” batches.

          • TaxDonkey May 2, 2022 at 9:12 pm #

yup. I don’t think we know yet if the “good” batches were just lower dosages of the kill batches or if they were outright different formulations. It’s definitely one of the many questions that needs to be asked during Nuremberg 2.

S proteins make people’s immune systems over react. The kill some people whether they ride on the back of a virus or are artificially manufactured by an injection.

Scary thought, what if s proteins are not destroyed in “some” people like the model says. What if in some people the cells’ DNA can be modified to produce perpetual RNA to make s proteins?

Do additional injections just add s proteins to the immunity mix and increase the inflammation levels to more serious levels?

If the ultra conspirators are right, do the PTB know that increasing the s protein levels, cross the board, just culls out more people.?

A big question! Why was the s protein picked instead of another part of the virus? Could it be that the s protein was mapped at the onset of Covid? That it was designed?

Are these possibilities real? We do not have a clue! Nor will we with the perps in charge.

      • neurodoc May 2, 2022 at 11:04 am #

Initially, I had assumed that the PTB erroneously focused on the S1 protein thinking it was a marker, finding out latter that is was THE toxin of COV (i.e. stupidity, idiocracy which is rampant in medical research). Now I’m not so sure. The autopsies being done in Europe (COV pt autopsies are strongly discouraged here in the US Corporation) ALL show massive S1 protein tissue infiltration of pulmonary, cardiac, immune and brain tissues. Surely they SHOULD have know this in testing. The S1 protein also knocks out T cells and most B cells, dampening the immune response (Pfizer’s response to this has been that they needed the immune system dampened for the mRNA gene tx to work ???????) Idiocracy v. Greed v. Genocide, take your pick.

        • megabeth May 2, 2022 at 11:17 am #

Pfizer’s response sounds like the nutty excuse for the My Lai massacre.

What do you make of the Astra Zeneca chief saying that people with autoimmune diseases should not be vaccinated with his product (or any of them)?

It angered me because I just heard it last week, and it showed up my hunch that, as someone with Graves’ disease in remission, I should never take this jab. I had 2 flare-ups caused by standard vaccines, in the past, and I’m done with that noise. My own physician is too craven to give me as pass on it, either.

          Because she’s a dunce, I suspect.

          • Anthea May 3, 2022 at 3:45 pm #

            @ megabeth:

My Graves Disease was completely cured when I stopped drinking tap water and switched to distilled water for all drinking and cooking. (I just bought the gallon jugs of distilled water from Walmart; nothing fancy.)

It took about six months for me to get completely off medication, but I could notice an improvement after about two weeks.

I haven’t needed medication for eight years. But I also stopped going to the doctor when I stopped needing the medication, so I haven’t had any bloodwork done until a couple of months ago. I suppose they’ll tell me the results of the blood work some time or other.

          • neurodoc May 3, 2022 at 8:56 pm #

My own initial interests in researching the mRNA ‘vaxx,’ was the issue of auto-immune disease. My wife has Graves and I have a mild family history of RA, thus concerns about worsening via ‘shotgun’ stimulation from the adjuvants like squalene. (I’ve seen many patients with auto-immune flareups of all types, after flu shots, back when they loaded with them squalene). What I found was far far worse than the auto-immunity activating adjuvants they put in mRNA tx, and it had to do with the highly toxic/inflammatory nature of the S1 protein produced in mass by the mRNA cellular manufacturing process.

BTW; about 1/3-1/2 of MDs I know are dunces (in one sense or another), and they don’t know what they don’t know (including those from the best AND worst training programs, it doesn’t matter). I saw it most clearly when teaching residents for about 25 years (in a top 10 and 2 top upper half med ctrs). Always do your own research; question your doctor, and if they don’t like that, FIRE THEM!!!!

        • TaxDonkey May 2, 2022 at 9:23 pm #

Neuro, It’s hard to imagine the spike protein as just a marker (for what, the virus?). There’s so much genetic engineering that seems have gone into it. Everything from the plentiful GxxxG repeats with codon optimized GC enrichment, to the sections that are homologous to hiv, the furin cleavage site, the homology with syncytin, etc…..I’m not a geneticist, but all these reports on the crazy Spike sequence appear to be credible. I can’t even imagine it as accidental, especially with all the endless patents. It sure seems premeditated.

          • neurodoc May 3, 2022 at 9:36 pm #

The initial story in the medical literature was that THE marker for COV was the s1 protein, and that initially made me think they simply screwed up, couldn’t face up proceeded. As I’ve been saying, Idiocracy v. Greed v. Genocide. Take our pick. Your logical arguments point toward the last and third option, which is hard to swallow but very possible. Also horrendous for our future and our children and grandchildren’s futures. Dystopic sci fi stuff but very real.

          • neurodoc May 3, 2022 at 9:44 pm #

All viruses have marker spikes, traditionally notated as N for neuraminadase or H for hemmaglutinin, as in H1N2. The S1 spike was initially labelled by fauci as THE marker for COVID. My understanding (from reports from his co-workers and doctors in fellowship around him) is he does not allow himself to be wrong, ever, regardless. Thus, he is actually rather stupid, very stubborn or very sinister.

      • Jarek May 2, 2022 at 12:23 pm #

S? You mean Spike? Don’t hold back. Say Spike.

My sister, who beat cancer 30 years ago and had been cancer free since, had end stage cancer within a few months of getting the jab. She plummeted like a stone from the moment she had the shot, and we lost her within a few months. My other sister immediately became vague and she now thinks she called me on the phone when I called her. No one in my family has ever had memory problems, but both sisters began to be confused as soon as they had the shots. My firm belief is that it was decided, by those who make such decisions, that they were expendable – as many others have been. I won’t ever forgive or forget.

A prion is a type of protein that can trigger normal proteins in the brain to fold abnormally. Prion diseases can affect both humans and animals and are sometimes spread to humans by infected meat products.

        • TaxDonkey May 4, 2022 at 11:45 am #

There are 16 CJD (Cruetzfeld-Jakob disease) in the VAERS the last I heard. Pretty elevated compared to any other vaccines. CJD is the bona fide prion disease, in contrast to every other protein misfolding disorder (Parkinson’s, Alzheimers’s), which people are calling prion-like. Mad Cow was in cattle with 200-something spillover to humans. Anyway, this blip of CJD in the VAERS is noticeable, or should be, much like a hardon at the swimming pool. If the CJD numbers radically escalate, then we’re living in a Walking Dead episode. The credible Stefanie Seneff from MIT has been predicting lots of protein misfolding (prion-like) from very early on and a few days ago she came out on Del Bigtree saying how it’s happening faster than even she thought.

Nah, this is where I believe you and Disaffected are wrong. You allow pessimision to override common sense. (Just the flip side of optimism.)

The universal constant is reality. It’s how all governments fall, whether 1789, 1917 and so on.

We don’t have to do anything. Just watch the trends and observe the exponential pressure build up. Then the blast.

      • Disaffected May 2, 2022 at 10:32 am #

Veiled optimism, with a dash of detachment, eh? A foot in both camps? By the way, it’s pessimism, and “common sense” isn’t actually all that common. Governments fall all the time in the long run, but most of the people they oppress never live to see it. As Bush the Lesser wisely noted: “In the long run we’ll all be dead.” It’s what we do in the meantime that matters.

        • Anthea May 3, 2022 at 3:56 pm #

When governments fall, the aftermath is generally not pretty. You may not have need to “do anything” before the collapse, but you can expect to have to do all kinds of things after.

In a couple of such cases I can think of, the population sort of melted away. Probably a lot of them died, while others relocated–perhaps to regions where they fared better. Or maybe not.

Some things you might have to do could be toil, flight, bloodshed, and enduring privation.

I also believe jabs for food is coming, probably after they steal the midterms to cement a Marxist lock on power.

On the other hand, they may manage to wreck the supply chain so badly they’ll wind up with jabs and no food.

That scenario would get real interesting l, real fast.

A commenter above astutely noted that we can’t stop what’s coming. Whether it’s an organized effort as Jim hopes, or we go the way of Rome, it’s already baked in.

The real issue is resources – will an elite maintain control over distribution and wealth, or will there be a mad dash for the pantry?

The key to survival – at least mental – is to accept future events as a natural, preordained turn of fortunas wheel.

It was *always* going to happen; the only variables where when and how (not even why).

This may have been talked about here before this, it’s from Naomi Wolf and a couple of people brought it to my attention. I’ve become someone that people send things like this to.

She too has experienced the weight that I have been noticing.

“For the last two days I’ve felt an uneasy sense of grief, or of a heavy pressure on my heart. At first I could not figure out the cause of it.”

She also wants something done about what was done to us. I think someone here on Friday said that she was going to run into obstacles with her lawsuits.

“I am angry that beautiful America is mostly back, mostly free again, overnight, just because a shameless creature who should never have had the power to suspend our liberties in the first place – said so; just because the whiny-voiced evildoers of the last two years, now that evidence of their fraud and coercion emerges irrevocably to light, want to tiptoe away from the scenes of their massive crimes.”

I’m angry too. If they were too punish these people as the deserved, and they couldn’t get a firing squad, I would take shooting lessons.

You don’t get to murder and maim millions and just walk away.

  24. megabeth May 2, 2022 at 10:14 am #

This has little to do with Mr. Kunstler’s fine piece; I just want to kvetch a bit about coronatarianism.

April 12, I tested positive for coronavirus on an antigen test. I feel fine, now, and tested negative on an antigen test on 4/29. I had an appointment to have carpal tunnel release surgery today, and was required to take a PCR test at the clinic, prior to surgery.

To make a long story quite short, I must now wait two months to reschedule surgery because I am not vaccinated.

Marshfield Clinic has lost its flipping mind! I want to find a hand surgeon who won’t kick me around like this! So damned sick of this medical apartheid!

    • Beryl of Oyl May 2, 2022 at 10:17 am #

You are better off not getting surgery from a willfully stupid surgeon. I hope you can find another one soon.

Maybe you need a fake vaccine record.

          • megabeth May 2, 2022 at 10:45 am #

I’d rather not do that; it would feel like defeat for me. I’m looking for a private surgeon to give my money to, instead. It’s such a quick, simple surgery.

If I do find one, I’ll tell Marshfield Clinic what I’m doing, and why.

Marshfield competes with Mayo around here. I’ve worked for them both, but I never will, again, because of their vaccine requirement. My own doctor at Marshfield smirked at me when I refused the vax.

I noticed that Jack Dorsey is pushing the idea that he has some kind of newfound reverence for free speech or something, but I also can’t help but notice that he’s telling lies around the Hunter Biden laptop issue.

Another thing, Jack was still in place when Alex Berenson was banished permanently.

It seems to me that the massive amount of attention (I think they call it hits” Alex’s account was getting just before they silenced him, Jack had to be aware of Alex and just what he was posting about. Didn’t he actually read any of Alex’s stuff? Doesn’t it seem as if he would?

Why did Alex have to go to the lengths of filing suit? Why didn’t Jack correct things right then and there?

I hear a lot of talk about dis- and mis- information. Also left and right.

Alex is a health/science writer. Anybody looking at the scope of his work on Twitter would see that it was factual and TRUE.

I always like JHK’s column but one quibble, about the term “the Left”, which extends to essays all over the internet. How do we include #1) the Democratic Party, and #2) the American MSM as “Left”… in any way at all? Plunk the Democratic Party into any modern nation in Europe, Japan, Australia, flogging their Neo-lib agenda (private, expensive, 2nd-rate Medical Care, lifetime debt for college grads [but no actual “learning”], limitless War Spending, etc.) and they’d be, at best, Center-right. When did the “Left” get so much affection for Spy Agencies, censorship? The MSM is 5 groups of Billionaires, Comcast and 4 Right-wing families (Murdoches, Luces, Disneys and Redstones). And what have these Bolsheviks fed us? Every war in my lifetime has started with US government lies which this media has AMPLIFIED, not “examined”, “discussed”, or “evaluated”. They gave Trump BILLIONS of dollars worth of free publicity while “disappearing” the (inconvenient) Democratic front-runner, Sanders. “Identity Politics” is an evasion of class issues, which more accurately define “the Left”… the real Left (Caitlin Johnstone, Jimmy Dore, Glenn Greenwald, eg).

Who funded the Communist Revolutions? The Bankers. The Capitalists. Money has no nation. Communism thus starts out as Capitalism with a mask on. It suddenly looks very different once the mask falls off.

But in far flung lands, Communism got away from its managers, and reverted to other forms: Monarchy in North Korea. National Socialism (glorification of the Race/Nation) in China. Fascism (Civic or non-racial Nationalism) in Russia.

In other words, in and of itself Communism is wholly negative, a giant philosophy of Grudge. It cannot last too long because of its emptiness. If the Capitalists don’t show up to claim what’s theirs, it reverts to earlier, more natural forms of government.

In the days immediately following Election Day 2020 I collected a large file of links to documentation of the massive ballot fraud that “elected” Biden as president. Unsurprisingly, nearly all of them have been disappeared down the official memory hole in the months since the Dems took power. I also downloaded and saved a copy of the three-part Navarro report, which contains much of the same material, though my liberal friends, of course, assert that he is not a reliable source of information.
This week marks the release of Dinesh D’Souza’s film 2000 Mules, which exhaustively documents hundreds of instances of vote tampering which took place in highly coordinated fashion on the night of November 3, 2020.
But, as we have seen with Architects & Engineers for 911 Truth, liberals’ grip on “reality” remains firm. Can getting trounced in the midterm elections make a difference? I guess we’ll see, if they don’t manage to kill us all with a nuclear war first.

Think you are a little off, for capitalism is the pimping sister of the right/communism and always has been, which goes clear back to the forming of the country and taken from the system they just fought to get away from, the Founding Fathers reared up in underneath the English form of government simply didn’t know any other so followed their failed system right up to Hamilton stating that at the center of the Treasury he would place a group of wealthy individuals to build the factories create trade ETC and of course they were the bankers.

        • Jarek May 2, 2022 at 4:41 pm #

Why “right/communism”? You think the right and communism are the same? I agree in the sense that the “right” or conservatism conserves nothing and that Capitalism/Communism are one system ultimately, one coin with Capitalism being the heads.

The ultimate system will have elements of both: Capitalism for them. Communism for the masses.

My equation is reduced to the lowest common denominators, the most basic factors. Your equation is intermediate and needs more reduction.

And someone down that Twitter conversation posted this ‘crumb trail’:

My own view, being double-vaxxed, is that a heart attack would be infinitely preferable to the transhumanist agenda they’ve got planned further down the line. Since I would have been triple-doused in spike protein and lipid nano-particles anyway from my husband’s shots, it probably wouldn’t even have made any difference if I hadn’t been vaxxed myself.

      An utterly evil shitshow.

Don’t know if you saw this from MCM – they’re ramping up the ‘unvaccinated as disease vectors’ propaganda again:

There’s a scientific rebuttal in there from Byram Bridle.

      • Night Owl May 2, 2022 at 2:28 pm #

        Thanks for that, GA.

About the future — yes I understand. One wonders if the world will be worth living in, if these people are successful.

        • GreenAlba May 2, 2022 at 5:49 pm #

One of the interesting things MCM mentioned in his excellent interview with the Corona Ausschuss team recently was that they must have planned all sorts of spurious ‘research’ for years before covid in order to have all those articles that are appearing in the MSM about the endless list of things that can give you a heart attack, stroke (or cancer, or dementia, I’ve noticed as well). So they must have known the whole spectrum of vaxx ‘side’ effects years ago. The detailed planning that went into this is mind boggling.

Some of the ‘look at this thing that can give you a heart attack’ articles are just stupid, of course, but many claim to be based on ‘studies’ (it’s like reading The Onion or The Daily Mash sometimes).

The NHS is a behemoth, and effectively a monopsony. So billions wouldn’t surprise me.

I mentioned previously that the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency) was the recipient of almost £1 billion from Bill Gates, while the ‘vaccines’ were being pushed through. It was also observed during a board meeting (observable online by the public) that they, at the time of the meeting, had £15m of funds they couldn’t find a use for. At the same time, FOI requests by the public for evidence that the 2000+ vaxx-related deaths on the MHRA’s own Yellow Card system (like VAERS) were not caused by the ‘vaccines’ are being regularly stonewalled.

The two reasons given are that (a) correlation does not mean causation (except, of course, that when it comes to PCR tests and deaths it does), and (b) it would cost £600 a pop to carry out autopsies, so of course they ‘can’t’. And that’s after the health authorities throwing billions down the toilet with their test and trace systems that didn’t work even on their own terms.

The other thing I’ve noticed, in addition to the ‘things that cause heart attacks’ articles, is lots of articles about things that happened just before covid – two people in the same family – or a young couple – both getting weird cancers within weeks or months of one another. Life-altering horrors like sepsis-induced amputations.

Always in the few years before covid, so that we won’t be surprised by the current stories. Why report them years after the event, one wonders (or rather one doesn’t).

And if the democrats loose the congress in the midterm and the republicans take over nothing will change any more than Reagan’s trickle down scam as they all followed the script laid out before them.

I wouldn’t hold my breath that things will change by the courts because they too are part of the problems they will simply fade into the sunset like Trump with the Clinton’s “oh they have suffered enough” beside they are my buddies.

It reminds of what Jefferson said “that the American people would become slaves in the country that their grandfathers fought for” and we are almost there regardless of who’s in the Oval Office or the congress. Now I see the good republican congress member from Ill. is going to enter a resolution to send American troops to Ukraine that ought to be a winner for I hope he’s going to send a few shipments of body bags along with them for Russia is not Iraq or Nam or Afghanistan..

Yes, some people know about the danger the bankers pose. And others, about the danger posed by Blacks. Usually one type of person only knows about one or the other of these.

Jefferson knew about both. And he didn’t try to reduce the Black problem to the Banker problem as in conservatism’s, “They are trying to divide us”. They are making it much worse of course, but we were always divided. The potential for race war was always there as Jefferson said and predicted. He also predicted the Civil War. He was right about that….

      • thwack May 2, 2022 at 8:43 pm #

He ripped down the curtain and showed us what was there. He’s done what he could do. Time for some new blood. This all assumes that we have some semblance of a functioning system by then.

A lot of news about speech, but the war is over thoughts.

Controlling the way one thinks about things by controlling/limiting what they can say about things.

It is improper to say or express certain things = it is improper to think this way about these things.

Be mindful of the endgame: forming your thoughts and opinions. Re-educating.

The schools from elementary to university have been conquered. The youth programmed or reprogrammed.

The legacy generations, raised in an era of free expression are not required to have their opinions changed so much as silenced.

They’re on their way out, and gaslighting them until acquiescence seems to be the preferred conversion approach. Ostracized, silenced, shamed.

How dare you believe men cannot carry a fetus!
How dare you believe that our elections are not free, open, and legitimate?
How dare you believe that Biden Inc. Is a crime syndicate?
How dare you believe that lax policing, prosecuting, and punishment leads to societal deterioration?
    And on
    And on

    And remember who it is.
It’s not that antifa clown, that blm goon, that trans man with a baby bump.

It is who it always is
    The rich and powerful
    It’s always the money

In olden days, merchants didn’t rule. The higher caste, the Kshatriyas or Warriors did. From them came the nobles, and from the nobles the king.

In this Iron Age, the Merchants rule, sometimes via their pawns, the Sudras (Workers) as in Communism or “Democracy”.

      • elysianfield May 2, 2022 at 6:26 pm #

” The higher caste, the Kshatriyas or Warriors did.”

        You misspelled “Kardashians”….

      • SpeedyBB May 3, 2022 at 3:06 am #

Feudal Japan, a “closed society” if ever there was one, had four fixed classes, in order of political subordination. They were categorized by the following abbreviations:

SHI = “buSHIdo”, the warrior class, as rulers
NO = “NOgyo”, the farming class, as sustainers of life
KO = “KOgyo”, the artisans, tinkering and crafting to keep the [humble] infrastructure going
SHO = “SHObai”, the traders, or business class, firmly at the bottom. Making a lot of money and especially flashing it around was considered extremely impolite.

Samurai would occasionally test the sharpness of their swords by cutting down a passerby – the more flamboyant, the better.

After the Pacific War, and the installation of “Dugout Doug” MacArthur as Emperor, this was neatly flipped around. Business reigns supreme, and the political servants in the Diet and civil service do the bidding of the mighty conglomerates.

Artisans are a vanishing breed. Try and find a skilled carpenter. Then try not to faint when you see what you have to pay him.

Who wants to be a farmer? Hundreds of deserted farming villages – kids want to go work in a factory in Osaka, live six in a room and survive on packaged noodles. The farmers are, however, extremely coddled by a [highly protectionist] government, and live very well, as they still supply the nutrition of the nation.

The warrior class? A joke, except in manga. There is no real military, just a “self-defense force”. Police are pussycats and inevitably defer to yakuza, unless the heat is on.

The military fucked up profoundly going to war against Uncle Sam, and the Japanese, being an extremely practical people, did not forgive them for their delusions and hubris. Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, who had studied in the USA, commented about the oncoming war, “You had better be ready to fight all the way to the White House”.

        • Jarek May 3, 2022 at 1:25 pm #

Testing their swords on peasants? Very evil. Lord Rama of the Axe incarnated to destroy the warrior caste when it went bad.

Some of the Samurai adopted Zen Buddhism and were much better than that.

        • Jarek May 3, 2022 at 1:28 pm #

But putting merchants at the bottom is very wise. They tend to become parasites and tyrants. But I notice no Brahmin or Intellectual/Priestly class. That’s not good.

Even Europe’s simple Christian version of the Aryan system had it: Those who fight. Those who work. Those who pray.

          • SpeedyBB May 6, 2022 at 1:32 am #

What I assume is that those inhabiting the Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines were “set aside” from the feudal ranking. Quite likely the priests, nuns and acolytes were not supposed to involve themselves in such worldly affairs. As I recall from my studies, they did not meddle in politics the way the Roman church did, from its foundation.

I just went to the Pfizer website and downloaded this charming little document: “EUA Fact sheet for Recipients – 12 years and over – Pfizer-B.” This document reveals some of the known dangers connected to COMIRNATY (COVID-19 Vaccine, mRNA) and the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine which are claimed to prevent Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by SARS-CoV-2.

Over two dozen side effects are listed, including, “Myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the lining outside the heart) have occurred in some people who have received the vaccine, more commonly in males under 40 years of age than among females and older males. In most of these people, symptoms began within a few days following receipt of the second dose of vaccine.”

Are the reciepents of these experimental drugs actually given this disclosure before beginning a series of injections? My guess is they know nothing about these dangers.

Under the EUA, it is your choice to receive or not receive the vaccine. Should you decide not to receive it, it will not change your standard medical care.”

Time magazine is now owned by tech billionaire Marc Benioff (Salesforce) who is a trustee at the Davos WEF, along with fellow billionaires Larry Fink (BlackRock) and David Rubenstein (Carlyle).

All are promoting the elitist “great reset” agenda, described by atheist/humanist Yuval Harari of the WEF.
    Search for his video interviews.

Fink and Rubenstein are also directors at the New York CFR, and Benioff is a member.

The CFR has dominated US policy since WW2, and nearly every key player on the “Biden team” is a CFR member, including the secretaries of State, Treasury, Defense, Commerce and Homeland Security. Also the CIA director, Fed chairman, UN ambassador, and dozens more.

“The truth is that everything the Left stands for these days is some kind of a hustle…”

It’s not just the Left. It is EVERYTHING that is a hustle. Every place you turn today.

The Mass State Corporate Media. The Medical Mafia. The Energy industry. Organized religion. Professional sports. Our laughingly-named Public Servants. ‘Our Heroes’… who are neither Ours not are they Heroes based upon who and what They are really serving
(but you gotta love the imaginative branding, right?). The ‘Federal Reserve’ which many have pointed out are NOT Federal and they HAVE NO reserves. (But they do have magic rabbit’s hat from which they pull out not rabbits but an endless supply of fake money).
Globalist Corporations. The Public Education Indoctrination Center System. Big Harm-ah Phar-ma.

All of these and more have degenerated into nothing but open hustles upon We the People. And they have been for a long time now.

It’s SUCH a great idea for us now to have a National Department of Fatherland Disinformation Clearinghouse and Mass Dispersion Center and Foot-In-Your-Face-Planting Office filled with career grifters who study Bernays-as-god and who will tell us WHAT and HOW to think and importantly what NOT TO THINK ABOUT – EVER. We are so lucky so have such dedicated and caring individuals looking out for our well-being. What did we ever do to deserve such wonderful treatment!?

Note: For the benefit of the hard-working Public Servants of the National Department of Fatherland Disinformation Clearinghouse and Mass Dispersion Center and Foot-In-Your-Face-Planting Office who are no doubt reviewing these words in between bites of donuts and sips of designer coffee… . The words above were only said in jest and they are not serious points that outline horrible abuses and attacks upon We the People. No further intervention by Your Esteemed Office is necessary. And if ‘Jesting’ is no longer appropriate or legal, you may rest assured that full compliance will be immediately forthcoming without delay.

But there is a question: WHICH WAY do we SALUTE YOU!? And with WHICH ARM?

    (Now, back to those donuts…heroes…)

RS – always look forward to your posts. This one – close to my heart – in particular – deserves comment. Years ago, I came to the very same conclusion that everything is a hustle, a racket & most of all – predatory – everything.

As many people may or may not be aware – the Cape Buffalo is the only animal that not only defends its herd, standing against all predators, but many times takes the fight to them.

I’ve taken to putting the initials CFB behind my name in all correspondence – personal & official. Over 10 years or so, and countless correspondence to doctors, lawyers, accountants, writers, friends, colleagues & relatives – exactly two people have questioned the initials.

The answer goes like this: Based on the characteristics above regarding Cape Buffaloes and their fierce determination in taking on all predators, CB stands for Cape Buffalo. CFB? The even more recalcitrant Cape Fuckin’ Buffalo.

In recognition of blatant acts against predatory enterprises, I’ve even taken to giving honorary certificates to “Cape Buffaloes”, attesting to their indomitable spirit. You’ve earned one today CFB, keep it up my friend.

OK…I’m one hour into “Come and See”. My primary takeaway at this point is the trite and superficial use of metaphor…especially the totally transparent and obvious use of the stork in the forest to represent
the Joint Meeting Of The All-Russia Central Executive Committee, The Moscow Soviet, The Moscow Committee Of The Russian Communist Party (Bolsheviks), The All-Russia Central Council Of Trade Unions, Moscow Trade Unions And Factory Committees To Mark The Founding Of The Communist International…Lenin, of course. March 6, 1919…frankly a two year old could see that one coming.

The succubus in the forest “Gailina”, was not a metaphor, of course…just a succubus.

I often don’t get your humor.

      Not a criticism , just a fact.

I have been told before that I’m literal – minded to the point of childlike naivety or gullibility ,
Or , simply , literal – minded to the point of stupidity.

      Case in point ;

like the 14 year old boy , it never occurred to me that the recon plane would take any interest in two boys in a field , armed or not.

It’s two boys in a field , poorly armed. Surely the recon plane is more interested in things like tank divisions ?

As much as I have studied that sort of thing , that degree of total and all – consuming ruthlessness always comes as a shock to me.

That the recon plane would radio in ; ” Partisan activity in this area ! ” and send in the paramilitary police death squads, never occurred to me until it happened.

      Anyway ,

Well , no sooner had I proffered it as the greatest war movie of all time than I regretted doing so.

The cultural context is entirely Eastern.

Surely that’s going to be a significant handicap for a Westerner ?

For example , no matter what German troops do in this movie , I still see them as MINE.

So they did some really evil shit ?

      They are still my boys.

I can no more disavow them than I can slit my own throat.

Likewise , after the war the Russians were our best buddies against the West for 50 years.

So I can strongly emotionally relate to the Russians too.

So I guess the emotional impact is a great deal different for me than what it would be for a Westerner?

Referring back to Dissafected’s recommendation of ” The Thin Red Line ” by way of contrast ,

I’m sure it’s a very good movie , but the only way I can relate to it is to wish the U.S. Army would get beaten.

The only U.S. troops I have ever been able to relate to are —

      The Vietnam U.S. Army .

      Custer’s command

      The Confederate Army.

Otherwise U.S. troops leave me cold . I can’t relate.

Not a total loss I guess. I always wondered what that gun was the boy dug up. I don’t recognize it.

Looks like a primitive version of an American BAR , or a proto – SKS.

      Just because I’m a military science nut , doesn’t mean I’m a gun fancier .

Clearly you and Blackbird know a hell of a lot more about small arms than I do.

      • rube-i-con May 2, 2022 at 7:22 pm #

so you must be fluent in german? specifically, the vocabulary of east germany.

        • KesaAnna May 2, 2022 at 10:40 pm #

          Piss – poor actually.

My parents are Americans , we spoke English at home , I was home – schooled then , we left when I was ten , and in these parts of the States you encounter German about as often as you encounter Turkish.

Not a novel circumstance , at least for me.

I once worked in a factory for five years where about 90% of the work force was Mexicans who spoke very little , or no , English.

In another factory , I once had a Vietnamese assistant , for about a year , who spoke maybe four or five words of English at most ?

Best I reckon , the two closest friends I ever had were dogs.
Some folks think dogs understand some degree of human talk , my opinion is the average dog MAYBE understands three or four words at most.

Anyway , in contrast , for ten years on a near weekly basis I wrote ten page or more letters to a person I thought was a friend. Turned out I was wrong.

Some guy once said , ” The most important things cannot be put into words. ”

That seems to fit my experience.

Or , it turns out that the people you could hypothetically have 16 hour heart – to – heart talks with never the less might as well be on Mars,

And the people you do love deeply and dearly , it seems to have scarcely anything to do with words.

          The second part ,

” … specifically, the vocabulary of east germany. ”

I’m not entirely sure what you mean.

My guess as to what you mean , could amount to a book that proves never the less to reflect just as derogatorily on the United States as it would on East Germany.

          For example ,

The East German narrative regarding the Nazis was if anything even more scathing , dogmatic , heavy – handed , two – dimensional as the most grossly simplistic and partisan anti – Nazi rhetoric in the West .

Which is downright bizarre , if you know even the least background on the subject.

When the Nazis took power in Germany in 1934 , Stalin got the idea that making a deal with the Nazis might be more advantageous than making a deal with the British / French / American Capitalists.

So the order went out from Comintern to the German Communist Party that they should cooperate with the Nazis.

To many German Communists that was tantamount to volunteering for a concentration camp and a bullet in the back of the head !

And in most such cases , that is exactly what it did in fact amount to .

          Fast – Forward 15 years.

Near as I can tell , most of the top leadership of East Germany turned out to be the people who survived the Nazi era because they followed orders , ratted out their fellow Communists who didn’t follow that order , AND COLLABORATED WITH THE GESTAPO.

The God so many of them don’t believe in never the less seems to have a really fucking weird sense of humor.

I don’t suppose I really need to point out to you that despite their strident and virulent pinko Communist Snowflake anti – Nazi rhetoric ,

          These are the outfits and the iconography they pick out for themselves ;

And haven’t a clue apparently how that is going to look even to a completely uninformed Western 5 year old ?

Basically , their vocabulary was as deceptive , as convoluted , as clueless , or as bizarre as American vocabulary by any measure or metric , in any context.

A few days back someone mentioned , ” Zen , and the art of motorcycle maintenance. ”

I can’t get past the title without rolling my eyes .

I have met a few East Asian Buddhists.

And without exception they would all tell you matter – of – factly in all of two minutes that theirs is a religion , of the polytheistic persuasion.

          Westerners calling themselves Buddhists ?

I haven’t the faintest fucking clue what they are talking about , Robert Persig included , except that I’m pretty sure it doesn’t have a fucking thing to do with Japan , China , Thailand , or Seven Years in Tibet.

          Motorcycles ?

Two wheels should be cheaper than four .

          Makes sense , doesn’t it ???

Well , East Germany produced motor scooters in precisely that spirit , and the Soviet Union produced motor cycles according to precisely that premise .

But it turns out Germans and Russians alike , wanted grossly over – priced two wheeled phallic symbols instead.

Granted , I wasn’t around for late 1960’s – early 1970’s motorcycle culture , but I would guess it was pretty much the same in old Norman Rockwell America ,

as it was among our poor benighted enslaved masses yearning to breath free .

Piss on a cheap two wheeled vehicle you can realistically fix yourself.

I don’t get the impression that Robert Persig was some kind of Bolshevik Puritan.

He strikes me as typical snotty upper class , or would – be upper class , snob.

OK, finished the flick. The usual excesses. Germans are no worse than any other group. Most of them are human, and all nationalities are prone, during times of extreme stress, to any outrage you might conjure.

Saw a German Einsatzgroup member shooting at the burning church with a 1917 Enfield…improbable.

A light-hearted (?) song to start the week – Biden, Johnson, the climate and the virus.

    The Maybe Song (Dominic Frisby).

    • KesaAnna May 2, 2022 at 4:22 pm #

I wonder what you sound like ?

Funny song , but seriously I have never encountered an accent that grates on my nerves more.

Some Scots I have encountered , though , sound like they don’t live within ten thousand miles of England.

Indeed , they sound like they are speaking Finnish , Icelandic , or some such crazy shit . Don’t even recognize it as English in any accent.

      That’s why I wonder.

      • GreenAlba May 2, 2022 at 5:10 pm #

I sound like an East coast lowland Scot who’s spent a lot of time in England (mostly the north-east). So, not like someone from Glasgow and not remotely like Dominic Frisby. 🙂

        • GreenAlba May 2, 2022 at 5:26 pm #

I have a pretty good ear for accents, which probably helped when I was learning French. My parents were from Glasgow and we moved to northern England when I was four, so I started school in England. The kids made fun of my accent the first day, so by day 2 I spoke with the local accent like the best of them. But when I went home I had to speak with a Scottish accent or it annoyed my mother. So I spent all my school years bi-dialectal. Now my English friends who used to know me with a northern English accent have to put up with me speaking with a Scottish accent, because enough is enough.

For the record, the ugliest accent I’ve ever heard is Justin Trudeau speaking French. It shocked me, because he speaks what sounds to me like pretty generic Canadian English (although I’m unfamiliar with any wider selection of Canadian English accents).

So I was expecting, with him being a toff, that his French might sound more like European metropolitan French (although I realise it wouldn’t really work like that). But his French accent is just horrible.

It didn’t help, of course, that in the selection I was listening to, he was calling the truckers and their supporters racist, misogynist science deniers and asking whether ‘we’ should tolerate ‘these people’ taking up space. That’s a bit like looking at a picture of someone you already know is a serial killer and observing that they have the face of a serial killer!

    • thwack May 2, 2022 at 8:37 pm #

Is it true that Scott Ritter is a twice convicted child sex criminal?

      • thwack May 2, 2022 at 11:22 pm #

Arrests and conviction for sex offences

Ritter was the subject in two law enforcement sting operations in 2001.[30] He was charged in June 2001 with trying to set up a meeting with an undercover police officer posing as a 16-year-old girl.[31][32] He was charged with a misdemeanor crime of “attempted endangerment of the welfare of a child”.

The charge was dismissed and the record was sealed after he completed six months of probation.[32][3] After this information was made public in early 2003, Ritter said that the timing of the leak was politically motivated in order to silence his opposition to the Bush administration’s push toward war with Iraq.[31][32][33]

Ritter was arrested again in November 2009[34] over communications with a police decoy he met on an Internet chat site. Police said that he exposed himself, via a web camera, after the officer repeatedly identified himself as a 15-year-old girl.[16] Ritter said in his own testimony during the trial that he believed the other party was an adult acting out her fantasy.[2] The next month, Ritter waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was released on a $25,000 unsecured bail.

Charges included “unlawful contact with a minor, criminal use of a communications facility, corruption of minors, indecent exposure, possessing instruments of crime, criminal attempt and criminal solicitation”.[35] Ritter rejected a plea bargain and was found guilty of all but the criminal attempt count in a courtroom in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, on April 14, 2011.[16][36] In October 2011, he received a sentence of 1½ to 5½ years in prison.[37] He was sent to Laurel Highlands state prison in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, in March 2012 and paroled in September 2014.[1]

Ritter lives with his wife and daughter; he paid his dues; he explained the circumstances–depression owing to the stress he was under as the US govt. sidelined him and pressured him when he said there were no WMDs in Iraq..

I have little doubt that he was set up in one way or another.

          Give it a rest.

Pay attention to what Ritter has to say about the current disaster.

            And with such “clever” formulations.

In the reports that I have read Ritter did not “diddle” any “kiddie.”

Zelensky and the Gang thought that they were going to be able to skate because the Nazis are in control. But Lavrov says that Jews can be Nazis, just as Hitler was part Jewish. Uh oh!

I’ve heard this one before and I don’t buy it. But what the hell, Truth left the premises a long time ago. It counteracts the Lie being promulgated that will let the real Kingpins walk away. De-Nazification includes them. How about Kerry, Nuland, etc?

Certainly Israeli Jews can be National Socialists. That’s what the Likud Party is. That doesn’t make them “Nazis” in the proper noun sense, since the Nazis were a particular party in old Germany. Apparently some individual Jews were members of the actual German National Socialist Party as well.

Not sure if it qualifies under the heading of disinformation.

But , 99 out of a thousand people try to be funny , or fancy that they are.

99 out of a thousand people simply aren’t. They have zero talent for it.

That applies double or triple to ridicule. Ridicule was very effective in elementary , middle , or high school because it was brazen mendacity versus an intellect that simply lacks the experience to know better.

But people get older , step in shit , wade through shit , slip on banana peels , see a never the less awesome and beautiful sunrise over a shitty trailer park or a grim Gulag ,

and that shit simply doesn’t work on them anymore.

Anyway , it’s certainly in that category.

We are living in an information environment designed by a mind similar to that of Joe Goebbels or the Soviet Information Bureau.

We are living in a world where the Ghost of Kiev is valiantly flying around above the plucky sailors of Snake Island.

You can almost see him now, maybe, yes– there he is! Flying solo in his F-35, steely blue eyes & slick backed blonde hair. He is doing loop-d-loops, Red Baron- styled. Can you see him?? The slant-eyed, Asiatic Russians are growling in disgust as one missile after another miss their target. It’s nothing for the Ghost of Kiev! He zigs and he zags. Whole groups of Russian Migs fall to his guns, or rockets, or just the artfulness of his flying. Wolfsangel on one side of his fighter, and the Black Sun on the other– the Ghost of Kiev is shooting down hordes of Russians.

It’s on to Moscow, next! Yes! Can’t you see it?? The Ghost of Kiev is now flying above hundreds of Ukrainian Abrams & Leopard II tanks. No, thousands of tanks! They are in a flying wedge now, unstoppable. But first, we must take a city called Volgograd.

Yes, Volgograd, it is! Nothing will stop us, as we spread western civilization to these mongrel undermen!

Sieg Heil! Sieg Heil! Sieg Heil!

For these democidal times, I have once or twice gone back to Rupert Brookes’ Safety.

“Dear! of all happy in the hour, most blest
He who has found our hid security,
Assured in the dark tides of the world that rest,
And heard our word, ‘Who is so safe as we?’
We have found safety with all things undying,
The winds, and morning, tears of men and mirth,
The deep night, and birds singing, and clouds flying,
And sleep, and freedom, and the autumnal earth.
We have built a house that is not for Time’s throwing.
We have gained a peace unshaken by pain for ever.
War knows no power. Safe shall be my going,
      Secretly armed against all death’s endeavour;
      Safe though all safety’s lost; safe where men fall;
And if these poor limbs die, safest of all.”

The men are ‘falling’ for a different reason now, of course, and, for all its horror, not as awful as that horror, except in its mind-boggling scale. But it’s still a war, just with most of the victims unarmed, in relation to the perpetrators.

Well CFNers, the sh#t has hit the fan. The EU announced today it will not pay Russia for oil or natgas in roubles, and Russia is expected to shut down all pipelines asap. EU has warned its members to prepare for an “energy shock.”

In effect, Europe has sanctioned itself … over nothing really, a border dispute on the European frontier that historically has seen so much trouble it is called ‘The Bloodlands’.

Despite all the happy talk about ‘the transition to renewables’ Europe is pretty much f#kkd when it comes to energy IMHO.

Let them! The SOBs running Europe are full fledged members of the WEF. I hope maybe a few million frozen or baked asses over there wises them up to what the WEF is up to and they get rid of these egomaniacs that are taking over their countries.

Pick one and give it all you’ve got:

1- secure the vote – hand written hand counted ballots

2- free the media – Repeal bill clinton’s Telecommunications Act of 1996 which allowed monopoly control

3- repeal Citizens United that gives personal rights to corporations

4- Insist on total political and governmental transparency… no secrets = no wars. Do this by supporting multiple groups like Wikileaks so that we the people can look at the facts and triangulate the truth.

5- At the same time promote personal privacy via Edward Snowden.

        Free Julian Assange!

It would have been nicer to do it during the winter so that we could really feel the pain we are inflicting on the dreaded Ruskies, but if we are lucky, this “energy shock” just might last awhile.

I don’t see how the “EU” can prevent any member state, or a company in any member state, from buying gas from Russia, or anyplace else.

About 13 years ago, a GPS tried to prevent me from driving down a flight of stairs.

I was in some town on the south coast of Devonshire (starts with a “B” if I remember correctly) trying to get down the hill to the sea. The GPS laid out a circuitous route, but I could see a more direct route among the streets shown on the map. Passed a lady pushing a baby carriage (“pram” ectually…) who gave me a strange look, while driving down a street (?) just barely wide enough for my small, ugly British rental car. A couple more turns – and there I was, looking down a long, long flight of stairs. Driving in reverse, I passed the lady pushing the pram who gave me another strange look.

Without that GPS, I’d probably still be wandering lost around southern England.

My recollection of SW England, in and around Cornwall, is driving a straight shift (and not done since I was a teen), on the WRONG side of the road, with crazed grizzled looking little old men going 80 MPH on, what appeared to us, to be a one lane road that allowed for two lanes of traffic, sided bilaterally with a thick hedgerow that looked like it was full of briars. Other than that, it was beautiful, interesting, and a fun trip.

it’s not the “Left” that is at war with truth and reality (although the political left is bad enough)

It’s tyrannical, Malthusian, Imperialism that is the real threat to all that is true and real, oh and right, moral and free, as well.

These Imperialists hide behind leftism in order to marshal a useful idiot army as leftists are more inclined to destroy their own communities, culture, heritage and posterity under the delusion that they are carrying out some praiseworthy, revolutionary act. Their delusion serves the interests of Imperialists that will sooner see them dead.

Everything that passes for progressivism on the agenda of these Imperialists furthers their true objective- that is to destroy the Westphalian free nation-state economic system to usher in a tyrannical One World Empire.

Those who think they are on the progressive, political “Left” will figure this out eventually- but too late and at too high of cost.

    • Night Owl May 3, 2022 at 7:30 am #

WEF and co. hide behind leftism because it allows them to claim they are against “hate” and “corruption.” Everyone who rises up against them is a “Nazi.”

I’m beginning to wonder, in preparation for when I might eventually get ‘lifted’, if one should confine one’s answers to parrying with another question. Even giving a statement in answer to their accusations is an admission that they have the right to ask you.

This follows from Kesa’s notion that one should not accept the role of the defence, which has obviously made an impression on my mind!

Sadly I’m not blessed with the presence of mind that produces the necessary quick retort in a to-and-fro situation (especially under a naked lightbulb), which is why I just write stuff. 🙂

The WEF NWO and the Great Reset is the most deadly threat against what the USA has tried to represent itself to the world, the champion of individuality and liberty. The WEF is the enemy of individuality in the name of collectivism with them on top of course.

People, you are too stupid to run yourselves any longer, we must run you, for your sakes.

The WEF is the enemy of nationalism too, as ethnic individuality is another thing that is condemned. Targets in the DAVOs eye are USA, then Russia. China is the model for the future which has been acknowledged by the leader, Klaus Schwab.

A recent item I saw was the social ranking that the WEF wants to do, so that the government awards or punishes each person by what they do, or write, or speak. Sound like China?

Anyone in the US that still believes in what the founding fathers put down on paper must abhor what this group of rich egomaniacs want to do.

IMHO, I see only one way to preserve the American ideal. This group of people, call them what you want, that believe in individualism above all, must organize and secede from the Mob, WEF led Deep State in DC.

Then they need to affiliate with Russia to beat back these globalist communists.

Both The real USA and Russia have much in common to preserve their ways of life.

How did it happen? They did it bit by bit, while we were busy struggling to survive them destroying our livlihoods…. NAFTA, Citizens United, Telecommunications Law of 1996, open borders, and so on….
And they used our hard earned tax dollars to do this …. It’s like being forced to produce the ammunition being used against us. 1 million migrants per year for us, the taxpayer, to support … both them and their numerous offspring. Clot shots. Lockdowns and destruction of small business. Control of the media. Control of your children. Going to war with your money but without your vote. The move to digital currency and ID. Now food destruction both by fire and weather (look up – they own the sky now) It all adds up.

Is decency beginning to return to America – or at least parts of it? The right to decide will return to the States if this is true. Women in red states will have to go elsewhere to kill their babies.

But what about a woman’s right to choose? Her choice, her responsibility, was not to get pregnant in the first place if she didn’t want to be the vehicle of birth for another being. Once pregnant, she is carrying another life, another body, another soul.

In purely political terms, apart from this contentious moral question, this will help to begin the break up of the FUSA, the Former United States. Is this not to be greatly hoped for and desired? Did you think it can happen without a great price?

The Democrats now have some hope in November, with this Republican life raft tossed into the sea of their drowning prospects.

The state should not control a woman’s uterus. Women (and men) will be galvanized and a larger Democratic turnout in November will occur.

One may wish it otherwise, but there is no soul in the blastocyst, the embryo or the fetus. There is no soul without sentience, and even with it its existence is highly doubted. Sure, you have ‘soul’ in the common usage of the word.

This ruling and a Ukrainian victory or stalemate, or some major Ukrainian ass kicking, will mean fewer losses for the Left come November. After all, all along it was Russia, Russia, Russia, and the Democrats will bask in the glory of a pulverized Putin.

Who knows, what with all the disinfo, gaslighting, and confused people, the Republicans may yet find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

      • Anthea May 4, 2022 at 9:21 am #

        @ tucsonspur:

I don’t think that the existence of non-existence of a soul in an unborn child is relevant to the abortion question. For one thing, this is unknowable. No one can say with legal certainty that you or I have a soul. It would be inappropriate, and even weird, to make legal decisions on that basis: “Bill has a soul; therefore, he is entitled to free insulin, or a free kidney transplant.”

The issue is that an uborn child is a human life. To approve killing it as a matter of convenience is monstrous.

The usual arguments won’t wash. Yes, it is entirely dependent on its mother’s body. (And abortion is permitted in some states, even if the child would be viable outside the womb.) But if we are going to make dependency on others the standard for deciding whether you can be casually killed (because you have become a burden or inconvenience), you would be able to kill just about anyone at some time or other during their lives. Children are dependents, as are the sick and the elderly.

A culture or civilization that approves killing people because they are a bother is pretty much in the toilet.

One of the other arguments for abortion is that the child is unwanted and would have a miserable life. But since we are not psychic, we don’t know that. And on the practical side, it is now VERY difficult to adopt. There just aren’t enough babies for all the prospective adoptive parents.

Secondly, is being unwanted or likely to lead a miserable life to be the standard for whether a person can be killed? There are a lot of people around who are unwanted; there are a lot of people around whom I don’t want. There are a lot of people who are miserable–such as my acquaintance whose son recently OD’d, or the many older people who struggle with painful/serious health issues. Almost everyone will be come ill (and miserable) at some time or other and need to be cared for.

So are we going to approve/legalize offing anyone whom we deem to have a poor quality of life? Or anyone who is “unwanted”?

You can’t approve of this kind of thing without losing your humanity. I suppose “humanity” is as much an intangible as the soul, but surely we can all see what it is to lose it.

This whole line of thinking leads to some very unpleasant places.

        • Kim May 4, 2022 at 10:21 pm #

What if killing the child is not a matter of convenience but of policy, specifically a hygenic public policy in a race war?

Would that be more acceptable – for we do after all accept wars and conscription and deadly orders as acceptable public policies?

I would say with near certainty that the “leaked” “opinion” and the leak itself are pure theater.

Here’s how I think it went down: Support for the Democratic Party is in decline, threatening the outcome of the mid-term elections. They decided to concoct a credible threat to abortion rights in order to stampede the herd back into the Democrat camp.

My bet is that not only was the “leak” planned, but that the SCOTUS was ordered to produce the “opinion,” and they were all in on it. Or (more likely) the document was prepared out of whole cloth in advance by a few crack attorneys, and the Supreme Court justices were told to sign off on it and a leak arranged.

This is a game. Nothing will come of it.

I know you choose actual buildings to be The Eyesore of the Month but here’s an opportunity you might not want to pass up —

“She (Blake Lively) explained that her dress was inspired by “New York City architecture and classic buildings,” as she noted different elements of the look that were pulled from Grand Central Station, the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty.

Lively also pointed to the crown on her head which has seven tiers to explain its symbolism.

“The Statue of Liberty has seven rays, representing the sun’s rays. And then also the seven seas and continents, which represents welcomeness, inclusivity, freedom,” she explained. “And it’s just 25 windows so Lorraine [Schwartz] put 25 stones at the bottom.”

Also note, “…inspired by… classic buildings…” – not the ugly, disposable new “architecture”. Kind of an art deco look to the pattern actually.

All that work creating and then putting on that massive mass of fabric – and her hubby forgets to shave…

One more comment on the Spike (For you Jarek) protein.

IF the spike protein on the virus is the over stimulation of the immune system –

IF the spike protein in the Vaxx has the same effect , it is easy to see that if folks are getting re stimulated every 4-6 months by boosters, the risk of side effects goes up each shot.

I would like to add on an aggravating factor.

The vaxx was based on the alpha phase of spike protein of 2020, a much more virulent form. So taking alpha boosters against omicron virus may be just another major medical error.

Stay away from alpha boosters forever.

Abortion is a states right issue.

I would like to add what happened to the right for all people to:
“Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” is a well-known phrase in the United States Declaration of Independence. The phrase gives three examples of the unalienable rights which the Declaration says have been given to all humans by their Creator, and which governments are created to protect.

All humans the right to LIFE how is this difficult to understand?
Like it or not the instant an egg is fertilized it is the essence of being human.

      • CrusherMuldoon May 3, 2022 at 10:36 am #

I agree with all of your statements benr. However, I’m betting dollars to donuts that the same Democratic shills are going to twist the abortion issue is an individual state’s issue into “no more abortions”, the same way they twisted Florida’s ruling about forbidding teaching gender issues to K through 3rd graders into “Don’t Say Gay”

        • JohnAZ May 3, 2022 at 11:39 am #

Are there any states that have said, “No more abortions at all”? Aren’t most holding to the 15 week rule?

If someone wants an abortion after Roe, there is always the West Coast, Colorado, Illinois and the East Coast. I see a new medical vacation game plan in the offing. For $1000 you get an abortion and three days on the beach. Believe me, that IS how shallow some folks are.

The real enemy are the abortion mills like Planned Parenthood and their Liberal hold on DC. You are about to watch an explosion go off in DC.

Thwack I have heard often that Blacks operate an abortion mill that has severely limited their birth rate. True? I would think some Black leaders would have a problem with that.

Thwack I have heard often that Blacks operate an abortion mill that has severely limited their birth rate. True? I would think some Black leaders would have a problem with that.

John, black people don’t “run” anything; the “abortion mills” for black women are funded by white liberals, Democrats, Jiberal non profits…

I can’t remember where I read it; but somebody calculated that there are several million “missing” black people due to abortion?

Its a tough subject for black women; so data is difficult for me to get.

Their 1st pregnancy is often the one that is aborted; because

            a) They wanted to see if they could get pregnant.

            b) they try to use a pregnancy to get some guy to stay/marry them…

            c) They started the single mom path, but then chickened out.

I had a white roommate who told me she had 8 abortions. She was a nice Catholic girl; but her dad died when she was 14; from then on she chased alpha males and never could keep one; hence her high fetal body count.

One time she called me late at night sobbing about “my son would be 18 today…”

She had a good run though; she stayed pretty hot till almost 50.

but towards the end she whined about her thighs rubbing together.

She couldn’t bring herself to date/marry and average guy.

          • Jarek May 3, 2022 at 12:47 pm #

Wow, damning in every sense. Classic feminine psychology to an extreme degree. Always looking up.

Heard a girl talking on a bus to an older man she had just met. Why should I accept a Burger King Burger when I can have fillet mignon? She wasn’t anywhere close to being fillet mignon herself. She was so into talking about herself that she missed her stop. She was going to some kind of mental health place.

The guy told her he found women more interesting than men. Don’t think he was coming onto her, he was just really into playing the fatherly role. That was his “interesting”.

        • Jarek May 3, 2022 at 11:56 am #

The street fighting analogy also works. Most fights are won by a sucker punch followed by a flurry of blows leaving the victims unable to respond. Similarly, the right of Black children to go to the nearest public school was justifiably (at least in conventional terms) no sooner established only to have the liberals press on to establish bussing – an issue that had no real connection with the former issue. That Blacks could go to White schools was changed to Blacks must go to White schools and Whites to Black schools.

The ruin of the public school system was underway, with vast numbers of Whites leaving the schools or even the cities if they couldn’t afford private schools.

      • thwack May 3, 2022 at 11:36 am #

The question is simply this: Can a fetus, become a member of the political community formed and brought into existence by the Constitution of the United States, and as such become entitled to all of the rights, and privileges, and immunities, guarantied [sic] by that instrument to the citizen?

We think the [fetus] are not included, and were not intended to be included, under the word “citizens” in the Constitution, and can therefore claim none of the rights and privileges which that instrument provides for and secures to citizens of the United States.

It is difficult at this day to realize the state of public opinion in relation to that unfortunate fetus, which prevailed in the civilized and enlightened portions of the world at the time of the Declaration of Independence, and when the Constitution of the United States was framed and adopted. … They had for more than a century before been regarded as beings of an inferior order … and so far inferior, that they had no rights which the white man was bound to respect; and that the Fetus might justly and lawfully be reduced by abortion for its benefit.

          Like chinas missing women.

however in1965, USA had 12 million africans. [blacks, thwacks, whatever you want to call ‘them’].
          now, 43 million.

At conception, it is a single cell with the program in it to create a three trillion cell organism with a chunk of God included.

The whole legal issue is whether that cell or fetus up to fifteen weeks is a “Life”.

Mis programmed fetuses end up miscarrying. Was that a life?

Should abortion be the solution to a woman’s biggest Oops? At what point is that individual inside her a separate being, under Constitutional protection.

Certainly not at 40 weeks, like the abortion nuts want.

Problems with unwanted kids can and should be remedied by the 15 th week. Those laws seem reasonable and relevant to me.

Maybe a return to procreative responsibility by both sexes, but mostly women will occur with no Roe v Wade.

A really negative statement could be,

If a nation does not protect its babies, it does not deserve to exist. Biblically speaking, are we bringing on our demise by God getting really pissed at us. God has expressed his displeasure with nations, even Israel by abandoning them to enemies, but also with disease and Climate Change.

        • thwack May 3, 2022 at 12:33 pm #

I don’t really care if a woman wants to get an abortion; I just want to be able to abandon it if I don’t want it.

Here in the USA nothing is ever settled, they’ve been going round and round about abortion since I’ve been a little kid. Slavery has been dredged up as an issue altho it’s been over for 150 years. (Probably the failure of the Great Society programs and Affirmative Action has something to do with Whiteys nose being rubbed into the slavery issue all the sudden)

      • JohnAZ May 3, 2022 at 11:48 am #

Not settled because Congress can never get a law passed governing abortion.

Typical Lefty grandstanding, Roe v Wade was the Left’s way of getting around representative government, like executive orders. Don’t puke, Redneck, both sides do it. Roe was a Lefty attempt though, exclusively. Just like EOs, they can be reversed with just a simple judicial ruling. So here we are, awaiting the back lash.

Hmmm, is the leaker a Dem. Plant who is trying to sabotage the Red Wave this fall?

I don’t know how believable it is but ABC is reporting Putin will undergo cancer surgery and is transferring executive authority to FSB Chief Nikoli Potrushev. A lot of people will be happy about this until they realize Potrushev is bigger hardass than Putin himself. Be careful what you wish for is the message here. I see some Congressmen in DC want the US to challenge Russia directly on the field of battle; in my opinion this would be a huge mistake, maybe a fatal mistake. My reading of events of 1812, 1914 and 1941 is you are not going to defeat Russia in a war. Russians will keep coming at you. Even when they lose like in Crimea in the 1850s and against Japan in 1905 the country remained intact. And if Russia did perceive it was on the losing end I don’t have any doubt they would resort to their nuclear arsenal. We in the west are playing very dangerous game with Russia, a game with no winners, but many losers.

Ok, here is the end game for Ukraine.

Russia wil basically take a big chunk of Eastern Ukraine, Donbass, and in the south around Crimea.

The Ukrainian army will be destroyed until it becomes something like Hamas in the west bank.

From that point on, Russia will deal with Western Ukraine the same way Israel deals with the Palestinians.

Bomb them when ever they want, conduct raids whenever they want…

Ukraine (sans the Russian areas) will basically become a white “failed state”, broke, deep in debt, and highly corrupt full of grifters and NGOs out to line their pockets…

Vaguely on the subject, I heard a lovely anecdote recounted by Alex Thompson on UK Column news. Apparently an English church was seeing the numbers at the services increased by virtue-signalling parishioners coming along to show off their guest Ukrainian refugees.

Two of these Ukrainian ladies appeared not to be very impressed with the proceedings, and, after the service, people chatting to them asked them how they managed to escape. They replied that the Russians had helped them, of course. And that Zelensky was a moron who was responsible for the war. Some noses put out of joint in the church hall, I gather.

I’ve got a fire banked up in the outdoor fireplace trying to drive away the chill while I work on this chainsaw. Still looking for a day where the temp. reaches 70°F and stays there a little while. What can grow in this? With all this gloom and bare trees the world seems haunted somehow.

Tucker triumphantly holds up a copy of NY Slimes with its headline attack piece. It accuses him of being an American Nationalist! Truly, the greatest praise comes from our enemies.

Their treason is nothing new. They supported the Russian Revolution. How did they get away with this for so long? Because of the mid-wits going to college and wanting to emulate and be “in” with the Good People, who of course despise them as cannon fodder.

And of ahead of that was the corruption of the Academics. For most, it all comes down to money. The Bankers and Industrialists had it, and decided what would be taught to create an Order favorable to them and their plans.

Tucker triumphantly holds up a copy of NY Slimes with its headline attack piece. It accuses him of being an American Nationalist! Truly, the greatest praise comes from our enemies. – Jarek

Speaking of Musk and the NYT, the other day the Times had a picture of Musk and some other guy taken in year 2000 and Musk had significantly less hair than he does now. Plugs, I assume.

This is an unflattering form of narcissism…when someone refuses to accept the hand (or hair) that mother nature has dealt them.

  87. Jarek May 3, 2022 at 12:38 pm #

Tucker last night had a clip of Adam Schiff saying, We have to fight them over there, so we don’t have to fight them here. Sounds familiar, right? Mid to late 20th Century anti-Communist agitprop. Korean and Vietnam war propaganda.

This has nothing to do with Ukraine of course. It’s all about hurting Russia, supposedly because of them helping to get Trump elected. I don’t know if Tucker really believes that, but I don’t. It’s just a higher level of propaganda for Party Members. The real reason is that our Oligarchs want their resources. You can make money out of nothing, but you can’t make oil out of nothing. Or wood. Or grain. If you had a car full of hundred dollar bills stuck out in the desert, you’d give it all away for a gallon of water and a few gallons of gas.

    • SoftStarLight May 3, 2022 at 1:16 pm #

I agree with you. I don’t think (even though they may signal that is the reason) that the current aggressions against Russia are linked to the Russia collusion hoax or the 2016 election. This does appear to be a larger scale conflict over resources (Ukraine has lots of natural resources) and also who is going to be in control of the world really. Allegedly Russia wants several counterbalancing centers of power. But that could be their propaganda. Personally I do think it seems that they are at least willing to share global power with China.

      • Jarek May 3, 2022 at 1:19 pm #

You may be right. And if so, they deserve to win. A uni-polar world would be a nightmare.

We have to fight them over there, so we don’t have to fight them here.

I agree. We need to fight the DC scourge right where they are gathered in DC and the local environs. Then it should be on to Wall Street, the Hamptons, and the toney estates in Connecticut and the NYC exurbs to take down that gang of criminals next. Then and only then can the long battle begin to root the vermin out of their hiding places all over the country. That will be a job for the states and local militias, and a long hard fight it will no doubt be.

All the real enemies of the US reside right here in the US, at least some of the time.
