Did They Light Up a Cigarette Afterward?

“Reading all the 2016 warnings from the Normalcy Guardians and self-professed Democracy Protectors about how there’s literally nothing more corrupt or dangerous than craving the prosecution of your political opponent — especially for trivial crimes — is really quite something.” — Glenn Greenwald

The New York Times enjoyed its long-delayed tantric Trumpgasm so much today that it rolled out the full-page banner headline format usually reserved for the commencement of world wars. (They took the banner down before seven o’clock this morning.) For many of the cat-ladies employed as “reporters” at the once-august paper, it was the first Trumpgasm they’ve ever experienced in a lifetime of emotional displacement, over-eating, and furious knitting of pink polyester hats for the crusade to root out patriarchal wickedness.

This fulfillment of a years-long psychodrama, starring the feared and loathed occult persona of a gold-coiffed “Daddy” figure who once presided in the political household, came at the hands of dragon-slayer Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, archetype of the many long-oppressed victims worked to death in the bilges of our slave ship of state — now turned righteous Woke deliverer of cosmic vengeance!

This oh-so-satisfying climax, of course, is brought to you by the party of hoaxes, flimflams, and mandated death shots, so it’s amusing here on the sidelines to see The Times’s op-ed writers squirm with post-coital pleasure underneath the full-page Trumpgasmic headline. The lead editorial declares: “Even Donald Trump Should Be Held Accountable”— overlooking the utter absence of accountability that has been the norm in every recent insult to the nation’s dignity from wholesale and repeat election fraud, to six years of lawless depravity in the FBI, to overt support of Antifa and BLM street havoc, to the forced, deceitful administration of deadly “vaccines.”

“How a President’s Arrest Can Strengthen a Democracy,” honorary cat-lady Nicholas Kristof opined, repeating the bad-faith trope that his legions of Wokery have an interest in political rectitude — when, in fact, they are solely preoccupied with coercing, censoring, cancelling, persecuting, punishing, and defenestrating anyone who objects to their grifts and hustles. “Only love and a leap of faith can break through distrust. That is why a credible form of patriotism is so important right now,” explained The Times’s official Superintendent of Platitudes, David Brooks, to soothe consciences grated by this loutish gambit to shove a political adversary off the game board in advance of an election. “Joe Biden may not be your cup of tea,” Mr. Brooks summed up his civics lesson, “but he’s restored sanity, effectiveness and decency to the White House.”

Oh, really? That will surely come as news to casual observers who are watching the “Joe Biden” wrecking crew in wonder and nausea as they dismantle every institution and undermine every norm in American life. A more credible form of patriotism would be, say, a general strike against this cabal of degenerates, serving to remind the cabalists that at least half of the public still cares about the Constitution, the rule of law, and actual decency (not a depraved simulacrum of it). Otherwise, why would “Joe Biden’s” DOJ lock-up scores of Jan 6 protesters in the DC Jail for years on misdemeanor charges without taking them to law? Why does the “Joe Biden” State Department persist in destroying Ukraine and pounding billions in taxpayer money into the place to accomplish it? Why has the “Joe Biden” regime adopted the drag queen as its mascot? What part of all that evinces “sanity, effectiveness and decency”?

It’s a little early to assess the knock-on effects of the Left’s ecstatic Trumpgasm. A common theme flying across the Web is that Alvin Bragg’s jerry-rigged case will only make a martyr of Mr. Trump, neatly illustrating and personifying the government’s apparent war against its own citizens — making it clear that these Wokester-Jacobins will stop at nothing and no one to enforce the corrupt bureaucracy’s will against the public — and that the net result will be to ensure Mr. Trump’s reelection in 2024, if such a thing as a fair election is still conceivable after the skeezy Lawfare work-over the rules suffered back in Covid-time.

This comes at a time when that government — the “Joe Biden” regime — presides over the collapse of what’s left of America’s economy, the crack-up of the banking system, and the shocking loss of our country’s influence in the geo-political arena. All of that is manifesting as increased general hardship across the US population: a whole lot of citizens going broke, going hungry, losing their property and chattels to bankruptcy, losing their children to Woke-induced psychopathology, and — the final insult — being subjected to a medical racketeering operation that ruins and murders them when they get sick.

The Party of Chaos looks pretty smugly secure for the moment. If Alvin Bragg’s flimsy case in New York falls apart, as many expect, fellow partisans have grand juries lined up against Mr. Trump in other jurisdictions, waiting patiently to take their turns at the political assassination of this supposed “threat to our democracy.” Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi declared yesterday that Mr. Trump “has the right to prove his innocence.” She apparently forgot how our legal system is supposed to work, which is that defendants are presumed innocent and it’s the government’s burden to prove someone guilty.

As to qualifications to be president, the Constitution simply states: a presidential candidate must be a natural born citizen of the United States, a resident for 14 years, and 35 years of age or older. There is no language in Article II that might legally prevent someone convicted of a petty crime, fairly or otherwise, from running for the job. Which means that the Golden Golem of Greatness could be back … cue the cat-ladies’ righteous, wrathful meows.

Re: Google Blacklisted Me

Readers may have noticed my brief experiment with third-party advertisements on this blog. Although I was working with an independent ad management company, the ads ultimately originated from Google’s AdSense program.

Email from Google blacklisting Kunstler.com from the AdSense program. According to Google, Clusterfuck Nation violates their rules by publishing “Unreliable and harmful claims.” The verboten content of my blog includes “claims that are demonstrably false and could significantly undermine participation or trust in an electoral or democratic process,” statements that promote “harmful health claims or relates to a current, major health crisis and contradicts authoritative scientific consensus,” and content that “contradicts authoritative scientific consensus on climate change.

It wasn’t long before Google shut down ads on my site and permanently blacklisted my domain from their program.

According to Google, Clusterfuck Nation violates their AdSense rules by publishing what they deem to be “Unreliable and harmful claims.”

The good news is the DOJ is suing Google’s ass with an anti trust suit over its ad market monopoly and is calling for a corporate breakup. We’ll see if Google follows the Get-Woke-Go-Broke trend.

Well, this is it, isn’t it? The ugly Inner Party exhorting to your face commanding you to conform to Lies, to twist your soul’s mission for the will of the Demonic, and to betray truth.

The false appeal to “authority” and “trust in a democratic process” is so malevolent & twisted. This statement sounds crafted deliberately and directly from the desk of some agent at the FBI or DHS.

We are in a war alright. Between everyday people, and a permanent bureaucracy which will do everything in its power to retain control. Things will get much darker, the evil much craven, and the psychopathy much stronger, before it gets better.

The US’s collapse is looking more and more like the USSR’s collapse before it. They pretend to tell us the truth and we pretend to believe them. Remains to be seen how long this can go on.

      • PeteAtomic March 31, 2023 at 9:39 am #

        Yes, completely.

At the end of the Soviet Union, even when State Media told people the truth, everyone had been lied to for so long that nobody believed it.

There are already two states within this one nation. If this is not recognized officially, then it will probably have to be worked out with another civil war.

        • PeteAtomic March 31, 2023 at 10:24 am #

          Yea, I think you’re right.

Look at the reaction to this shooting recently in Tennessee.

          So bizarre.

The deranged woman & her sad little life is completely overlooked by State Media, for the sake of “gun control”.

It was an obvious targeted attack, and a “hate crime” under this corrupt regime’s own definitions.

However, State Media believes the regime enemies don’t have value, even if they are 9-year-old children.

          • Jimpa March 31, 2023 at 11:00 am #

Hate Crime? The shooter is dead. Doesn’t matter to the he/she/it perpetrator. “Hate crimes” what a joke. Why anyone with half a brain would play the left’s game with terms like this is beyond me. See us Christians can be victims of hate too! Whoopie!

          • Jarek March 31, 2023 at 12:14 pm #

According to Trans Central, the real hate crime is the dead naming of the shooter.

Let’s face it: some lives matter more than others to all of us. Justice tried to overcome this human foible, rising to a higher level. It’s not trying any more – and not even trying to hide it very much.

Remember the fake Obama birth certificate? Poorly done? With all their resources, poorly done? The gauntlet was thrown: What are you going to do about it?

They won’t release her manifesto. No doubt because she was starting the Transgender Day of Vengeance early.

It’s actually tomorrow. The day the MOPEs rise up and slaughter all those hateful people who misgender them.

And we know they’ll get away with it.

            Most Oppressed People Ever= MOPE

          • mrs_saj April 1, 2023 at 6:51 am #

            Paula D,

I’ve never heard of MOPE or the Day of Vengeance. Thanks for sharing. I am really behind the curve on the trans movement!

I agree. The whole hate crime label is political theater. It’s a distinction without a difference. I always want to ask “Show me a case where someone murders a person they love. Of course the murderer hates the victim. That’s why they killed them!” It’s just the legal system’s way of placing more value on some lives over others.

          • Uncle Bob April 1, 2023 at 9:18 am #

The murderer is now being counted as a victim of the “mass shooting” — indeed, she is the biggest victim because of rampant anti-transsexual bias by those damn Christian kids and staffers she murdered because she was a fucking lunatic.

When the perps become the victims of their crimes, while the actual victims of the crimes become the bad guys, you know a society is doomed.

          • Beryl of Oyl April 1, 2023 at 11:47 am #

Mrs. S, OJ said if he killed his ex, it was because he loved her.

            So there’s that.

The problem with the hate crime label as I see it, is that hate is an emotion, and you are criminalizing an emotion.

          • Paula D April 1, 2023 at 12:17 pm #

            “Hate crimes” are thought crimes.

If something is illegal, it is illegal. Adding on extra prison time because of what the person was thinking is outrageous.

AND it is leading to the newest step in the destruction of the First Amendment, “Hate speech”.

Hate speech is when no actual crime is committed, it is just that someone said something that our rulers have deemed a thought crime.

The US has no hate speech laws, but our ruling overlords have spent years trying to convince the young and stupid that we do.

Unfortunately, they have succeeded in that endeavor. Many of today’s citizens will tell you earnestly that free speech doesn’t mean you can say mean things! Duh!

Now all they have to do is codify it, which the current Congress is working on, and Josh Hawley is trying to fast track.
            We are screwed.

They try to suppress the truth, but it always comes to light, eventually.

      • Chuck Fire March 31, 2023 at 10:50 am #

        The Experts That Rule Us

The Left Progressive/Woke ideological class has confused and conflated political debate by redefining many words commonly used to communicate truth, resulting in falsehood. Therefore I offer the following definition, in the spirit of deception and obfuscation, just to call a spade a shovel:
Expert: “X”, an unknown quantity; “spurt”, a drip under pressure.

Jim is our “third hemisphere” speaking truth to power, elucidating what is (truth), which resides in a realm beyond words, strangely resulting in an inability to speak the truth. As John Denver sang, “We all know the truth is hard to come by. And if I spoke the truth, that’s not quite true”.

But one thing is for sure: the truth will be seen to work, while falsehood does not. What is is; what isn’t, isn’t. Alternatively, do what works; don’t do what doesn’t work. Do that (no easy thing), and your agency (an act of free will) will set you free.

So true. And the reason why is very simple. The S&M crowd (Sociopaths and Mediocrities) who now hold the levers of control in these Benighted States, while facing failure can only double down and then double down again. They see only 2 possible conclusions to where the game is now: 1) Winner take all; or 2) Lose everything.

Yes Pete, Jim has just earned the coveted Star of Truth, and the service ribbon that comes with it to pin on his chest. They say that you can’t really choose your friends, but you damn sure choose your enemies these days if you are willing to call bullshit on the Narrative of Lies & Deceit being rammed into all of our functioning orifices! I am proud to be a part of the JHK Family.

I don’t know if it was mentioned elsewhere in the replies today, but our host appeared on USA Watchdog earlier this week and knocked it out of the park. He may be a good writer, but he is unsurpassed as an in-person commentator on reality. Greg Hunter may get a bit emotional and a bit off track from time to time, but his work is excellent, and his guest list is spectacular with folks like Catherine Austin-Fitts, Martin Armstrong, and our own dear host here as well.

Anyone who doubts that demonic scum have hijacked our government, our society, and our media had best watch any of the congressional hearings where lying scum like Mayorkas, Blinken, or Austin spew bullshit. Even after they are called out for their bogus answers and diversions, they sit there and smirk because they know that Garland’s Department of Injustice has got their sorry asses covered. No one anywhere is going to stand up against the forces of evil that have taken over America for they all know it will end badly for them. And how about that demented bitch from Massachusetts whose greatest fear is that the evil Christians are going to be perpetrating violence on her precious, loving trans community in retribution for the latest shooting? Wow, you can’t make this shit up.

You go James Howard Kunstler, give it to ’em, and when they come to get you, tell ’em where I live so they can get me too. I wouldn’t want to remain in a place so totally fucked up!

      • Daddyotis March 31, 2023 at 1:39 pm #

Walter: I completely agree re Jim now has earned his “star of truth”, as you aptly put it.. Honestly I was wondering when TPTB were going to get around to doing all they can to paper over Jim’s bi-weekly fountain of truth. Bravo to Jim.

I caught Jim’s appearance on USA Watchdog as well. Hunter is a funny fellow, but has very significant and important interviews with a variety of truth-tellers. I noticed a few times in the interview when Jim sort of had to play the “adult in the room” as Greg got a little “too excited”. However, as usual for Greg’s interviews, it was very informative.

I’m going to be significantly upping my monthly Patreon offering to Jim. I would suggest we all consider that as well. Jim’s writings are treasures for those of us with eyes to see and I personally feel called upon to help to “stand in the gap” against this monstrous evil.

War is coming either in Ukraine, but most likely with China in the Pacific within the next 24 months. The US will need a national mobilization of manpower, better known as the Draft, to fight it. The thing is, very doubtful anyone shows up for their draft board, let alone parents letting their sons go and die for this corrupt cabal.. That is where we are at, as a nation.

      • Bobby E April 2, 2023 at 11:42 am #

“…parents letting their sons go and die for this corrupt cabal” This won’t be yo daddy’s draft. The daughters, even the Karens, get to go this time. Wouldn’t want to go all patriarchal on them now, would we? Besides, we eliminate a loop-hole for all these males (can’t really call them men) that would try to identify as women. What an absolute cluster that we’d create if they tried to reinstitute the draft. Hell, just look at the reaction of the Russian men when Putin did his “call-up”. And I get the impression that nationalism and testosterone in Russia are not in the short supply we are experiencing in America.

But there is one good thing about a draft. Assuming NO exemptions or deferrals unless you were born with no legs. When the letter goes out with the heading “Greetings” ALL parents should shudder in fear of their babies going off to lose limb and life where before it was only the clingers’ kids that had to do that. From the POV of the trash liberals in general it’s like the people that staff the military are provided gratis from some other country. They damned sure do not see them as fellow Americans. And if the elites’ kids have to go off to “O ‘ver, up yonder” you can lay book on a LOT less adventures being allowed to be entertained let alone being entered into.

      • bill7424 April 2, 2023 at 3:24 pm #

All the little shits have to do is get fat, unfit and act dumb as a door knob when taking their ASVP test and they will short circuit the Draft Board. At the moment all branches of the Military are having a hard time with their recruiting quotas. No one wants to be a part of a woke military and be forced to take a killer vaccine.

    • pyrrhus March 31, 2023 at 6:22 pm #

This isn’t about a petty crime, though the Clintons committed thousands of them without criticism..As the 2018 letter to the FEC pointed out, there is zero here, criminal or otherwise..But Manhattan courts are more corrupt than Nigeria’s, so any innocent can be convicted…That’s the game…But DeSantis has said that he will absolutely not extradite, and I wouldn’t risk surrendering to the custody of the people who murdered Epstein…

And if Trump is elected again in 2024, the NYT will publish proof of fraud in the 2020 election showing that Trump actually won then, dust off the 22nd Amendment, and then cry “Trump can’t be elected a THIRD time!”

Such is what passes as legal logic in the U.S. press these days.

      Dr. Coyote,

Great point. I have often thought that global-warming-nope-it’s-really-climate-change, has been the government and wef’s first large scale trial run at pushing a false reality. The contortions that scientists were required to do, and that they willingly went along with, to create mathematical results which supported the narrative in order to continue their funding are legion.

The assassination of JFK is a great example of how a politically motivated criminal act perpetrated within our government could be covered up and then disguised as something else through propaganda and selective censorship.

We have seen this with 9/11, though the propaganda is not mathematical per se. The narrative was pushed by the government, trumpeted by the media, and all questions or dissenting views were shut down.

With Covid and the vaxxines, we are back to using scientists and medical professionals to do the dirty work of pushing a completely false narrative onto the public. They of course have had help from many well placed government officials to push these scientific fallacies. But when it comes time to analyze the increases in all cause death rates, it’s crickets.

And now, we are getting to watch a live streamed legal drama whereby our already imperfect legal system is contorted into a weapon of political coercion and control, not just for Trump, but for the Jan 6ers, and for anyone else out there who might have gotten ideas about public protest or organized opposition. The ensuing legal “analysis” may put popcorn vendors out of stock for the next year and a half.

Instead of “the revolution will be televised” it can be changed to “watch on live TV the US officially become a Banana Republic complete with censorship, arrest of political opponents, sexual deviancy celebrated (all variations welcome) and on-camera demonstrations of middle school children who can’t read or simple math!”

Logic can be wrong if the premises are wrong. So it can only be safely used by honorable people, people who honor the Truth first and foremost.

Great post today! I’m only surprised it took them this long to go after Trump and in such a patently partisan and trivial way. After 2020 this was all a given, but this is the best they could come up with after all this time? I should add, it serves the Donald right for not following through with his campaign promise of an indictment of ‘She Whose Turn It Was’ and her mentor ‘Mulatto Jesus’ in 2017 based on much more substantial legal grounds. Not sure what to make of that. Is the Donald in on this too and the whole thing is some sort of ham-handed Shakespearean drama played out for our benefit? Time will tell, I guess.

I think they waited until after the vicious attacks by the Trans terrorists, to get that out of the headlines.

      • PeteAtomic March 31, 2023 at 10:29 am #

The real “misinformation” is the mesmerizing of the broader Public away from a collapsing economy & out of control inflation.

Regime terrorists– the “trans”, the antifa, the deranged, the urban (largely black) desperately poor– will be very, very active this year. Count on it.

        • Rowdypiglet March 31, 2023 at 11:45 am #

@PeteAtomic, We don’t know how it will play out because the collapsing economy hasn’t collapsed yet to the point where vast numbers of people are both hungry and homeless. Many of them will be people who have never experienced any sort of real discomfort before. No amount of misinformation, disinformation, or diversion can distract people who are cold and hungry. Until we reach that point, and it affects those who are still comfortable (although pinched) nothing will change.

I know many people who are living very comfy lives right now, lives that appear solid. They have big houses, new cars, they buy new kitchen cabinets every few years, give their last year’s clothes to the Good Will. But none of it is paid for, and their ownership of everything down to their shoes is illusory. They carry a level of debt that would make me sick with terror at every moment of my life, and yet they don’t feel threatened. I don’t know what will become of them, but it won’t be pretty.

Related to the collapsing economy, but still worth a mention I think, is the continued global divestment of the US$. China and Brazil just announce a new trade deal this week that they will now trade using their own currencies, not the dollar. This trend is catching on and speeding up the dollar’s eventual loss of reserve currency status. This will severely disable the US economy.

      • SW March 31, 2023 at 10:53 am #

Remember after 9/11 how the media was shrieking “where are the moderate Muslims?!” So where are the “moderate” transactivists condemning this violence? Nowhere to be found. But the NYT doesn’t seem to mind that too much.

The way the murder of three children and three teachers has been handled is shameful. The cover-up (because that’s exactly what it is) of this crime and the possible implication of the role testosterone played is nothing short of criminal in itself. Thousands of women are taking this medication and, if there are underlying mental health issues, an honest investigation needs to be done.

But instead we’ve got the usual ramped up gun control platitudes that divert from the motives of the shooter. I don’t own a gun, don’t want one and would be very happy to never have another shooting in the US. And I would support a ban on assault weapons.

But I have a question for the people who focus on this — if you gave an assault weapon to every person in Tennessee over the age of 18, how many people do you think would go into a school and kill 3 children and 3 teachers?

        • farmgal March 31, 2023 at 11:51 am #

@SW – your last sentence says it all because I am pretty sure the majority of Tennesseans do have automatic weapons and they somehow manage to go peaceably about their lives every day.

I have been totally convinced for quite some time that the FBI has a deep dirty finger in all of these mass shootings. Their all-knowing presences picks up on these kooks and cultivates them with hatred and who knows what else. Most of these people are walking a mental tightrope and the Feds are right there to give them a push and roll up the net. Disgusting.

What is an assault weapon? There is no actual definition. Thanks to the media, it’s understood to be an ugly black semiautomatic rifle. Of course, these same media morons have convinced most people that semiautomatic and automatic ate the same thing. Ironically, at the same time these tools want to disarm law-abiding Americans who own AR-based firearms for personal defense, they cheer when Ukrainians are seen wielding similar weapons for their self-defense against the hated Russians. Hopefully your comments dont mean you’ve drunk the Establishment Kool-Aid.

At the very least, it indicates incomplete learning. As I understand it, it costs thousands of dollars for a federal permit in order to own a machine gun. I’ve heard local machine gun fire exactly once in my life, and that was connected to a mom and pop gun shop. Automatic weapons are like hen’s teeth.

The goal and campaign promise of idiot Bragg was to get Trump, whatever the method. New York, the worst liberal POS in the country had to make up new laws to “get Trump”. I can just picture the jury of wokesters and jokesters that comprised the grand jury in Manhatten.

Please try on some expressions like “most” or “far too many”. Women are not a monolith, but they certainly seem to mostly be herd animals.

I am a woman, but I do not run with the herd. It’s an isolating experience. I have written numerous times about supporting Trump, not agreeing with him on everything, and having voted for him twice.

I think its important to acknowledge that the users/commenters on this site, both female and male, are not representative of the general public. We just aren’t. You just aren’t. This is a compliment of the highest order to us all. We don’t all see the world exactly the same, but we are here, in large part, because we can see that something is terribly wrong on nearly every front of modern life.

Let’s not drag the conversation down to “women this” and “men that.” It’s counter productive. There are far too many people, male and female, who have TDS and will hate him until their last breath. Let’s focus on the fight at hand, part of which is just speaking truth against the anti-reality and part of which is preparing for what is coming.

Keep posting, your contributions here are important.

        • Rowdypiglet March 31, 2023 at 12:24 pm #

Mrs_saj, Your point is true and well put. When those of us who comment here make a generalization that begins with “women this” or “men that” we’re clearly not talking about ourselves or others like us.

Yet it’s difficult to ponder some questions without the use of generalizations. If I want to understand what motivates a subset of people, I have to first identify them. Maybe there’s a thin line between a desire to understand and a need to affix responsibility or to blame – though, whatever happens, some person or group caused it and participated in it, and it’s hard to get around that or see a reason why we should.

I’ve gone a few rounds here with others on this issue, and never seem able to understand others or be entirely understood myself. Here’s an example that comes to mind: the trans industry. It appears to have been largely devised by men (in particular, the Pritzker family) and yet its foot soldiers and enforcers are much more likely to be women. I’d really like to know why that is. There’s plenty of blame to go around, but pointing a finger at men or women doesn’t motivate me. I want to understand the phenomenon. I point out the participation of women, because that’s the part I don’t understand. Men who are part of it seem to do so for the money; women for murky psychological reasons that are opaque to me.

I don’t quite know how to get around the problem of generalizations, but I do know that they trigger an immediate angry response. I don’t enjoy that, and I’d like to find some way to talk about things without provoking that response.

          • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 12:55 pm #

I hope people are starting to understand that the trans thing is a top down, GLOBAL initiative, and it is certainly male dominated, and the funding comes from some uber-rich men. As far as we know.

I think foot soldiers and enforces being frequently female has a lot to do with women tending to go into “helping” professions, and some of the women in the teaching profession actually think they are helping the trans minority.

I actually met a young woman running for the school board, who was trying to get SEL into the schools, and she looked a little gender confused herself, as she was dressed like a boy.

She seemed very earnest about wanting to help “the children’.

            Not teach them, help them.

I felt like I should invite her in and maybe pat her on the shoulder and tell her “there there, things aren’t so bad.”

Not to say that some of these women aren’t just horrible bitches.

          • mrs_saj March 31, 2023 at 1:19 pm #

I completely agree with you. Generalization is part of everyday conversation and does serve a purpose for let’s say deductive reasoning or just recognizing patterns (not absolutes). We want to draw conclusions and learn. That’s healthy and productive. But the blame game is a useless distraction. Biden is in office, for example, whether he cheated or won fair and square, because too many people bought into his bullshit. Men and women. Whether they voted for him or helped him cheat. Men and women. I would much rather try to figure out how to uncover Biden’s bullshit to the masses than figure out which gender is more at fault. One of these exercises improves our country, the other just tears us apart. JohnAZ is too smart and knows this in his heart. I just wanted to say the silent part out loud.

If you figure out the trans movement or its supporters, let me know. I cannot conceive of a more unnatural, harmful, disingenuous use of people’s time, talents, potential, and energy for a less beneficial cause. The people pushing this agenda baffle and disgust me. The tiny minority of people who actually suffer from gender dysphoria should be viewed with compassion, not encouraged to recruit others to think this is some sort of fashion or mark of distinction.

But hopefully the many bright minds and well informed people on this blog can continue their contributions and avoid falling prey to the distraction of generalized blame.

          • Anthea March 31, 2023 at 8:40 pm #

I think the “trans movement” is organized and funded by the medical and pharmaceutical industries.

        • Jarek March 31, 2023 at 12:26 pm #

Nope. If there is to be no generalizing, then that is equivalent to there being no thinking.

Don’t make it about yourself. You may indeed be unique in a good way. But it’s the average that we must talk about here. The average Muslim. The average woman.

And yes, most people aren’t average in every single category or way. But in the broadest sense, women vote a certain way – a way that ensures the victory of the Democratic Party and its terror.

          • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 12:59 pm #

What is the average Muslim? What is the average woman?

Overly broad generalizations tend to kill thought.

When someone makes a generalization that we all know to be true, such as school shootings like the last one are not typically done by females, there is no harm in that, in that it isn’t being used to slam a whole group of people.

          • Jarek March 31, 2023 at 3:03 pm #

Muslims believe certain things and have certain values which lead to certain actions, like Jihad. Ditto women.

            You are so childish.

      • MaryQueen March 31, 2023 at 11:12 am #

Men indicted him and you are blaming women?

        • JohnAZ March 31, 2023 at 11:31 am #

Do you know who is on the grand jury? I agree that men and women both have done him dirty, but it is the shenanigans of women that have caused him the most grief.

It is how the Dems control, bringing up a sex related situations to besmirch a candidate.

I wonder how many congress members would survive investigations like Trump has experienced?

Jarek is an individual with an obvious history of being wronged by a female in his own eyes. Probably some minority folks also. Sometimes hate is earned. Think Trump.

          • Jarek March 31, 2023 at 12:30 pm #

“Some hate is earned” – that’s a winner, John.

But careful: I’ve never been wronged by Muslims, personally. But I hate them on behalf of the West. The strictly personal is a prison. I’ve escaped from it.

And I study the Sufi Mystics because they’ve escaped from the strict dogma and definitely the politics, of Orthodox Islam. They attain unto Truth too.

          • mrs_saj March 31, 2023 at 1:50 pm #

Hate can be earned, of course. But if one decides to go the hate route, as opposed to forgiveness, which is absolutely their right to do; it seems only logical to hate the one who wronged you, not every member of the same class of people.

I abhor child molestation. I hate pedophile Catholic priests. I don’t hate all Catholics. It is not only wrong headed, it serves no purpose. Plenty of Catholics hate child molestation and did not know what was going on behind closed doors in their own church.

I can find people worthy of hate who have blue eyes. And yet we all know hating everyone with blue eyes is nonsensical.

This applies to women and to men. I can find women worthy of my hate. I can find men worthy of my hate. But I do not hate all women. And read this clearly, I do not hate all men.

For me, I will never give a bad apple the power to taint my view of their entire class of people Jeffrey Dahmer was a demon of a man. But he does not harm my view of the goodness of men. He does not have that power or influence over me. He does represent all men. Why give such power to such a poor exemplar? We’ve probably all been wronged by a man at some point in our life. We’ve probably all been wronged by a woman in our life.

Please think about your ability to convince when you are making implied generalizations, in this case, about women, to women who already don’t share the general female view. Most of the women on this blog, even if they don’t like Trump personally, know and admit he is a far better option than anyone the Dems can put up. Almost every woman I’ve read on here is fully aware that Trump has been held to a standard that no democrat has ever been held to. The media is an arm of the Democratic party. The media actually covered up JFK’s womanizing.

I just think you are missing an opportunity to reflect on what we have in common. JohnAZ, I chose to make this comment and my earlier one to you because I believe you are capable of hearing it. I promise I will do my best not to bring this up again. I do not want to go down the rabbit hole. I don’t learn anything down there.

          • mrs_saj April 1, 2023 at 12:05 pm #

          • Rowdypiglet April 1, 2023 at 11:35 am #

@Mrs_saj, Sometimes I think our disagreements are mostly about semantics.

“I abhor child molestation. I hate pedophile Catholic priests. I don’t hate all Catholics. ”

It wouldn’t be true to say I hate pedophile Catholic priests. For me, the category is simply “pedophiles”. I do hate pedophiles. They could be Catholic priests, they could be teachers or farmers or people who like to read, but these other categories aren’t relevant. The only categorization that matters is the one into which they all fit: pedophile. The other things they may have in common are only meaningful if they exceed the level of chance by quite a bit.

I’m always struggling to make my language more precise but I can tell from responses that I don’t always succeed. You’ve given me something to think about, in that my generalizations are too broad to convey what I really mean, and I should find a way to sharpen them.

DeSantis stands out from the pathetic team of Trump alternatives. True, he fawns over Israel, but no more than Trump or the rest of our politicians, who are (officially or unofficially) Israeli-U.S. dual citizens.

Realistically, though, President DeSantis would be sandbagged by the uniparty establishment in spite of his best intentions. Trump would again sabotage himself as he did in round one, but he is such a loose cannon that he might shake things up in spite of himself. A Hobson’s choice candidate.

        • ThorsHammer April 2, 2023 at 6:17 pm #

DeSantis stands out from the herd of presidential hopefuls of the past two decades. He is not a treasonous lifelong grifter and pedophile so far into senility that he needs to be guided off stage lest he shake hands with his imagination. He is not a silver tongued half black man who’s favorite Friday diversion was choosing which wedding party to bomb with a Predator. He is not a degenerate despoiler of young girls, addicting to flying off to Epstein’s Pedophile Island in the Virgins. He is not a promoter of medical fascism and mass murder during the Covid Pandemic of Fear who is still proud of his role in it and a narcissistic opportunist riding on promises to do what he failed to do while President.

Of all the Governors, DeSantis did more to direct his state of Florida along a reasonable path in a nation gone mad than any of his fellow Governors. And he looks Presidential. But before you commit to becoming a partisan, you should dig a bit deeper into his time as a JAG lawyer in Guantanamo.

Mansoor Adayfi was imprisoned in Guantanamo as a teen age-er and spent 14 years there before finally being tried and exonerated of all the crimes he had been accused of. He fingers DeSantis as an active participant in the torture policies of the prison, and a sadistical observer of the torture of himself and his fellow inmates. Listen to his story and decide for yourself who to believe and if that is a man who should become President of our country.

“The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” * nor will it be brought to you sugar coated by a silver tongued politician.

        • megabeth April 3, 2023 at 1:47 pm #

DeSantis is doing good work, but he could easily be an opportunist with a price. Only Trump, through his enemies and his surprisingly effective presidency, is a proven winner. People rejecting him because of, say, the vax, the bump stock thing, not jailing HRC–or whatever gripe–are foolish.

I love Donald Trump, despite being female. He reminds me of the old-school men who helped raise and employ me. They’re not always warm and fuzzy guys, and they frequently see women’s roles as well-defined and different from those of men. We should stop letting hopelessly unfulfilled disgruntled, and attention-addicted women from deforming our society to fit their neuroses.

Let’s be fair, Morgan knows absolutely nothing about science. He trusts science in the same way a person in the Middle Ages trusted the Catholic Church as the source of absolute truth. Now he thinks science is the source of truth, and this truth is handed out by scientists. Just as the pope used to be infallible, science is now infallible. No other source of truth is available. If a scientist (with the correct politics of course) says it, Morgan believes it, and that settles it.

All of that is manifesting as increased general hardship across the US population: a whole lot of citizens going broke, going hungry, losing their property and chattels to bankruptcy, losing their children to Woke-induced psychopathology, and — the final insult — being subjected to a medical racketeering operation that ruins and murders them when they get sick.”

This psychodrama, as you aptly & accurately describe it as, isn’t going to be followed by a sad population who just wants something to eat.

Boy. Well. Thank God I’ll be picking apples again this year. I’ve got fresh meat & farmers to purchase it from. A sister I get eggs from. A growing root cellar full of canned goods. I’ve got an 8-year-old girl to feed.

My family survived Stalin, and we’ll survive this.

      @ Pete Atomic:

You’ve given me an opening to brag about our garden! Two days ago, we put down four 50′ rows of weed barrier, and yesterday we set out two 50′ rows of cabbage, brussels sprouts, collards, and kale, and use the remaining 25′ of the row to sow beets. (We needed to sow the last 50′ row with beets, but it got dark.)

In a couple of weeks, we can set out the tomatoes, peppers, tomatillos, and eggplant. Those were all started indoors, so I have a lot of plants that are at least 8″ tall for setting out. We only have 100′ set aside for tomatoes, so I don’t know what I’ll do with the extra plants.

There are also a lot of flowers that were started early indoors–too many. I’m still trying to figure out what to do with them. Then there’s all the other stuff that needs to be direct-seeded: beans, carrots, and maybe summer squash.

It’s that hopeful time of year! You always have some disappointments, and now and then you have a year that comes close to being disastrous, but that doesn’t happen too often. The long-term forecast is for a cool, rainy summer here. (Usually it’s as hot a blue blazes.) This could cause problems for the heat-loving plants. There was one year that I fought early blight on the tomatoes all summer–and lost.

Absolutely f*cking sickening! And to think that New Yorkers are some of the most educated people in the country.

The state fruit should be the banana, not the apple.

NYC should become The Big Banana, not the Big Apple.

Outside of a handful of Classics departments in small, private Christian colleges, I’m not sure that any person today receives an “education” as the West has known it historically. A mentor of mine maintains that one must be fluent in Latin and Greek to be considered educated. I am fluent in neither, and barely literate in English. I am a dolt, but I didn’t realize it until I was out of college. When I did realize it, I grew angry that my parents, grandparents, etc. had allowed this to happen. My mother had learned Latin in Catholic school and her parents knew Latin and Greek. My mother saw these traditions as silly old stuff from “dead white males.” I’m angry typing this.

        Penelope Dreadful and RD,

I have really rethought my ideas about what it means to be educated. In fact what it even means to be intelligent. I don’t have a pat definition to share with you, but I can certainly say that people I formerly thought of as intelligent have been exposed as being quite something else.

Being well spoken is a quality that I have relied upon far too much and for far too long. Even being well read can give the wrong impression. Equally important is what is being read.

Never stop learning, RD. If its Latin or Greek that inspires you, there are courses that you can take even now, even from your home. Your English implies a great deal of literacy. And having finished college, you are now the master of your own curriculum. Take heart!

          How to Become Wise

What is the difference between knowledge and wisdom? Knowledge is the verifiable facts, and how to use them to make good judgements in your life. An intellectual is not a university-trained user of big words, s/he’s a successful graduate of experience and knowing what not to do. JFK said that an error is not yet a mistake until it is repeated. Look up the definition of “autodidact”. It has something to do with thinking for yourself, and not for regurgitating propaganda on a scholastic examination.

          • ViceGrip March 31, 2023 at 12:40 pm #

            Chuck Fire…

“What is the difference between knowledge and wisdom?”

Umm, you actually did not answer this question you posed, nothwithstanding much articulation.

            Lemme help:

“”What is the difference between knowledge and wisdom?”

To ‘know’ is to have *knowledge*.

Knowing what to do with the ‘know’, is *wisdom*.

One famous (forget his name, sorry) professor of Latin in the Church, is an agnostic or atheist and hates traditional Catholicism.

One can be very learned in languages, and still be unable to really think – as in the broadest possible terms – and have a rotten character.

The Ancients were right: Character comes first. If it is wrong or bent, all growth afterwards will be likewise bent.

        • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 1:04 pm #

Struggling with Latin trains one’s brain to work better.

Much as standing on one foot improves one’s balance.

We will work out our bodies, but we tend not to want to work our minds that hard.

          Right, RD.

Within my own lifetime, there were a fair number of people who believed in education as a means of becoming civilized, not just techno/trade instruction. They are, alas, gone from the academy but that path is still open to individuals. For now at least, you can develop your mind using the internet — for all its problems, still the greatest modern invention.

And having finished college, you are now the master of your own curriculum. Take heart!

          Right, mrs_saj.

It takes just one generation to lose it all. Your mother wasn’t just not educated, she was educated to hate our culture.

In any case, the Cultural Revolution has been ongoing for generations now. It hit the mainstream in the 50’s and 60’s, but earlier at the higher levels. The fish rotted from the head.

        • RD March 31, 2023 at 5:17 pm #

“Your mother wasn’t just not educated, she was educated to hate our culture.”

Don’t I know it. My mother’s family were the types of effete, arrogant, condescending New England progressives who didn’t believe that civilization existed south and west of Philadelphia. These are the people through which every temperamental, hysterical revolution traveled: transcendentalism, abolitionism, temperance, suffrage, feminism, “civil rights,” sexual revolution, Universalism, etc. Now, they are on the vanguard of Globo Homo and UniTranny. I think of them as fallen Puritans, essentially. Poe called them “Frogpondians.” My mother’s mother, pretended to be one with all of the unfortunate minorities she came across when teaching a public school, but at home, she screamed at the help. Here greatest ire, however, was reserved for the white middle class. She feared and loathed middle and working class white people. To her, the South and Midwest was a land of uncouth louts and religious nuts who should be burned over.

      • Rowdypiglet March 31, 2023 at 12:47 pm #

@RD, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to take three years of Latin in high school. My mother had almost no formal education, but she was a voracious reader and a real Grammar Nazi. It would have been inconceivable to her that anyone would want their children to be less educated than the previous generation. You’re right to be angry.

      • Anthea March 31, 2023 at 11:09 pm #

I’m in favor of teaching Latin, which should probably be started in the sixth grade. Greek scares me.

Nock’s view of education was that it’s purpose was “to have a maturing effect on the mind”–by learning about the human doings of the past two thousand years. The idea was that this kind of education would give you the foundation to develop into a fully formed human being. Of course, back then, the full force of the culture supported the value of being a fully formed human being. I guess it’s remarkable that people even had a hazy idea about what a human being is.

Nock also griped that, by the 1920s, “education” had ceased to be education, as he understood it, and had become mere “training” in vocations. He believed this shift coincided with the closing of the frontiers, meaning that the possibilities for economic independence were being shut off, so you needed to suit yourself for “a job,” which would be conferred upon you by someone else (you hoped).

        • Beryl of Oyl April 1, 2023 at 11:54 am #

Anthea, did you ever read The Secret History by Donna Tartt?

          Talk about Greek being scary.

        • Rowdypiglet April 1, 2023 at 11:55 am #

@Anthea, I’m sure this is long gone from high schools, but when I was in school we were given a choice of three paths in 8th grade: Academic, Business, General. You were free to choose any of these, but you wouldn’t be permitted to drag down the rest of the students. If you couldn’t keep up, you were obliged to choose another path. “General” was for the kids who were expected to become factory workers or manual laborers, waitresses, etc. It worked extremely well, and no one thought less of anyone for being more or less academically capable. Smart kids invariably chose Academic. Those who got poor grades due to boredom were suddenly challenged, and usually perked up considerably. Less able kids felt relieved that they weren’t being asked to perform above their abilities. The kids in Business genuinely were interested in the subject matter, so they didn’t have to be prodded.

      • Jarek April 2, 2023 at 12:49 pm #

The Know Nothings were an American First, Anti-immigration party. Thus they knew quite a bit. In fact, the many European groups could have been assimilated and were, but it wasn’t easy. And in general, they weakened America as a coherent Nation. Maybe in time that weakness could have been overcome with full assimilation, but of course the Elite didn’t give us that time, moving on to the coup de grace, mass 3rd World immigration – when we didn’t even need the new workers.

They were as wokie as wokie gets.

      • RD March 31, 2023 at 11:40 am #

Yes, but all of the indoctrination aside, the seemingly-less sinister, but equally damaging effects of lumping “job training” in with education have also degraded the pursuit of learning. A business degree isn’t education. Its job training. Ditto almost everything that is taught at the college and university level.

        • Jarek March 31, 2023 at 12:44 pm #

No, Yes, That’s it right there, but don’t lose it. Job training is what most people should get – not education. Why, you cry? Because that’s all they really want. And thus, all they’re really capable of – even if they have the IQ. They’re not interested and you can’t make them be.

But you CAN pervert all of education by dumbing it down to the their level. Turn it into a business (a money maker!) for such consumers.

The answer is Elitist. The real Western Elite were against mass education. They were right. Reading and writing, yes. Math skills. A few good books. That’s it for most. Get them out there and on their way into training or apprenticeships.

          • Rowdypiglet March 31, 2023 at 12:56 pm #

I can think of few things more destructive than to put roadblocks, in the form of less intelligent, less capable people who must be coddled and accommodated in their delusions, in the path of the smartest and ablest among us.

          • RD March 31, 2023 at 1:10 pm #

I’m not advocating for universal education. Most kids should go until 8th grade or so and get on with their life’s work. Jefferson had a pretty good system worked out where children are culled along the way until only the top 5% attend a university. That is about right. There could be lesser colleges, as well, for kids just outside of the elite group.

Trump will be fine. The case will ultimately collapse – as all of the Left’s other great frauds have collapsed – and their latest narrative (LIE) will simply re-affirm to all observers that mendacity is the coin of the realm for Democrats.

Trump’s martyr status will simply grow. He will work that to his advantage.

My own conspiracy theory is that this represents a hamfisted attempt to provoke any unstable elements on the fringes of the MAGA movement to riot in the streets or commit violent acts so that Biden and his scurvy crew can declare another “insurrection” and begin running the country on a Lincoln model of ignoring the constitution entirely and ruling by executive orders, emergency orders, dictatorial orders – whatever – so long as they are just orders. The idea being to destabilize the country and plunge it into a low-level civil war that will allow these freaks to leverage the military and LE apparatus of the federal government to tighten their political grip on the levers of power.

Our side should simply remain calm and allow Trump’s lawyers to carve up this sham indictment like Alvin Bragg does his Thanksgiving Turkey each year. I am confident that Trump will be acquitted, as he was in both of the bogus impeachments.

The best revenge will be re-electing Trump in 2024. The real work for the Right over the next 18 months will be to get ready to fight the Democrats tooth and nail using their own dirty play book. Two can play at the game of ballot harvesting in Democrat controlled States. Meanwhile, we tighten the election laws in GOP dominated states to prevent any problems in areas we dominate. (There is always the risk of RINO stabs in the back!)

GOP controlled State governments will also have to continue to find creative ways to obstruct and impede the dictatorial endeavors of the DC esconced Party of Chaos.

This is not unlike the Cold War. It’s a twilight struggle. The Cold Civil War goes on. Let’s see if we can keep it cold until we finally wear-out the bastards, just as we finally did to the Soviets.

I don’t see how it can’t not collapse.

I also don’t see how any lawyer in either party (and most of them are lawyers, aren’t they) isn’t screaming about the DA cobbling together some brand new legal tactics out of existing law, just to prosecute a man they already decided to get.

I don’t think this is intended as much to get Trump as to serve as a warning to any other upstart who might get ideas about any unauthorized runs for president.

Yes – that is the essential purpose of this extreme type of harassment.

What I want to know is why no one is pushing to disbar Bragg for clearly ginning-up a bogus indictment to fulfill a political campaign promise to indict Trump? That is a gross abuse of his office and of any rational and honest person’s definition of legal ethics.

Bragg has no business practicing law anywhere in this country. He is unfit to even scrub toilets in the courthouse.

Can you imagine Xi or Putin sitting in their capitals acting like Biden and the Mob? They would be lynched, as Biden should be.

I have about given up on this country. The justice system is shot, done in by the Liberal lawyers distorting the law for personal political reasons. I would imagine that many people prior to the Civil War had the same feelings.

I can’t believe you people still think elections are the way to resolve America’s ills? After the last two elections and the rampant fraud that has stolen the election from many worthy candidates you people are still counting on 2024?

It’s time to wake up. They system is too far gone. Trump isn’t the cure or the solution. Trump is the symptom of a system full of cancer, sick, dying, in its death throes.

What we need to do is to prepare to endure the trials that will come as the people lose all of their money, their property and their food. Focus on taking care of ourselves, our elderly and our children and try to endure until we can finally rebuild.

Not to disagree because I do not have the working knowledge of the legal system, but if this indictment/arrest/trial proceeds in New York, where are they going to find 12 remotely objective jurors? And should Trump be tried by a trial of his peers? If it goes down in New York even if it’s not legal to arrest a former president , he’ll be found guilty

If voting involves six weeks of early voting, mail in ballots and Dominion machines, then I am through voting. The only way to have a legitimate election is to go back to a national election day, one day and one day only to vote and count the votes. Paper ballots with elimination of electronic voting. Ban recent immigrants from voting. Deportation, Closed border, IQ tests, demonstrate knowledge of the electoral system and world affairs, ban convicted felons from the polls, etc, etc, #$%^%$%^&. Tired of wasted words. It is too late for America. Voting won’t fix this.

      • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 1:15 pm #

Early voting enable my local government to flip in favor of Democrats.

If you have a legitimate reason that you can’t get to the polls of election day, and they open early and stay open late, you can get an absentee ballot, just one, that you had to sign for when you received it.

If you still can’t make it to the polls on election day (which used to be a holiday), then you probably should not vote.

Immigration, end chain immigration. That ends people coming here en masse for free stuff, and voting for free stuff for themselves by electing those who gave them free stuff.

    “Honorary cat-lady Nicholas Kristoff”. Ha.

Something many people may not know, people (mainly women) who work tirelessly in the grueling field of animal welfare, have a problem finding enough volunteers to help with the often thankless task.

They often have to rely on help from utter lunatics, which gives the women a bad name.

    • RD March 31, 2023 at 10:16 am #

Isn’t the elevation of animals to, or above, the status of humans sheer lunacy? The obsession so many have with their dogs and cats is really disturbing. The worst of it is how police dogs are considered “officers” and if you kick a German Shepherd who is eviscerating your nuts, you get charged with a felony. God forbid you shoot the fucking dog, they’ll have an actual funeral, for a dog. They’ll shut the streets down and every cop, paramedic, and fire company in a 100-mile radius will show up. In my town, they erected a statue to a police dog. That’s some real lunacy.

      • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 10:35 am #

I don’t see it that way. Some see taking care of a gift from God as a normal moral choice.

As far as people’s obsession with their pets, yes, I find young couples getting dogs instead of having children somewhat disturbing, but it is not them I am disturbed with, it’s the elements in our society that making a normal thing like having a family unattractive to so many.

        • RD March 31, 2023 at 10:44 am #

I’ve owned dogs my whole life. They can be good companions and taking care of an animal is good learning for a kid. That being said, they don’t have souls, they don’t go to heaven, and ultimately, they are property.

A dangerous line was crossed when police dogs began being treated as “officers” and people started being thrown in jail because their horses were emaciated. Is a canary a coal miner?

          • Jarek March 31, 2023 at 12:54 pm #

Agree that it’s a dangerous line, but I’m glad people who abuse animals are dealt with.

A compromise between parties. The PETA folks are crazy. They’re an important part of the black block, otherwise known as antifa. They will bring nothing but ruin, treating humans like lab animals if they get their way.

Hitler gave one brief speech anent his vegetarianism and abstention from alcohol. He know they would not be ready to adopt his Way for centuries.

Of course good dogs go to heaven! We are are food for the gods too – and the worms…..

For some young people, a dog is preferable to a child. Dogs are always grateful and affectionate, usually obedient, don’t cost that much, and don’t get in the way of obsessive self-actualization. You can have a dog and continue to be as selfish as when you were an adolescent, with no consequences. I see it as part and parcel of the desire to never become adults, which is why God provides us with children to begin with.

An episode of Star Trek once characterized dogs as the “subservient quadripeds” of humans. Be that as it may – dogs are more loyal than most people and a dog will love you unconditionally – something that is not true of people in general.

So, yeah, we give dogs a lot of special dispensations and tend to anthropomorphize them – but I say that they are largely deserving of this special treatment. We are partners with canines in a way that we are not with almost all other animals on this planet. That would include felines, who also do not rise to the same level of esteem as a dog in my mind. (Apologies to all the cat ladies reading this….)

The elevation of OTHER animals is well-deserved.

In many ways, they provide us with everything we need, including companionship and helpmates.

So, no, it’s not lunacy. What is lunacy is not understanding OTHER animals and not seeing the human animal’s connection to others.

        • Jarek March 31, 2023 at 1:14 pm #

Seeing ourselves as only animals is the utter repudiation of Western Culture and the triumph of the Left in its many forms, Feminism being one.

I admit we have an animal aspect (our bodies and emotions) and we must take into account things like space and resources for these many bodies.

Thinking (or feeling) that we have to choose between these two aspects of life displays a profound failure in judgement no matter how educated one is. And that goes for both sides, the religious and “spirituals” as well as the Leftists and Modernists.

Those who look at animals as merely walking food or inferior souls shouldn’t complain when their ruling overlords look at them the same way.

You make a good point. Rats, dogs, monkeys, horses are all mammals too but none have the ability to make music, read, or make art. None have cultivated crops, built complex homes or drawn pictures of humans on cave walls. If humans don’t have a divine spark then they’re fair game to be treated as lab rats.

As long as people can go to Burger King and stuff a whopper in their gaping maw, watch the Bachelor on TV, tune into the NFL on Sundays, download their porn, imbibe their booze, nothing is going to change. We’ve had it too good for far too long. Its our turn to suffer and to sacrifice. It’s our turn to grow up and become true men and women again. It’s time to endure the refiner’s fire.

“…. even the BBC is getting iffy…(?)
MI-5 formed the BBC (that’s Military Intelligence 5.) They formed it with purpose on its utility for population manipulation, not as it is ostensibly presented as “informative and inspiring.”
That is, the quality programs (of which there were some very good ones,) were and are still sublimated to the larger purpose when push comes to shove. Obligating the people to pay for it via an annual license was somewhat Orwellian, but very British touch.
Even as I once enjoyed its programming vs U.S. commercial TV, there is always a subliminal element of ‘bread and circus’ to it everywhere as it is the most simple yet effective tool, much more so than the radio of the 20s, 30s, and 40s.

Of course, in the Anglo-American Empire we have not been neglected either. The CIA has been minding us for all of these decades dictating to producers endless war series (priming us for Viet Nam) to “Leave It to Beaver,” cowboys and Indians back in the day, “shoot-em-ups,” cops and more cops.
      Bread and circus.
CBC, another one, somehow let slip some very telling tales in a series on the CIA several years ago. I’m betting something like that will not be repeated.
Five Eyes. Five Eyes. Five Eyes.

      • GreenAlba March 31, 2023 at 4:14 pm #

The British Brainwashing Corporation doesn’t limit its propaganda activities to the Five Eyes countries. Leaving aside Orwellian horrors like the Trusted News Initiative, the BBC penetrates the news media of many other countries through its ‘charity’ BBC Media Action. For example, BBC Media Action has been active ‘training’ news media in Ukraine for years, to the point where much of the news emanating from Ukraine is actually just more BBC.

The BBC is the most nefarious disinformation provider in the world. Increasing numbers of people have cancelled their direct debits for payment of the licence fee. I’ve cancelled mine – bar a few threatening letters, nothing has happened. They can send the debt-collecting bully boys to your door but you are not legally obliged to let them in (to confirm that you have a television) unless they get a warrant. My understanding is that so many people haven’t had a licence for years that they simply don’t have enough people to enforce it. (The bad news is that they are haemorrhaging licence-fee money and are now pushing for subsidy from general taxation.)

Violence seems to be the only option now. Government figures are worthless.

    • Wizard of the Saddle March 31, 2023 at 10:58 am #

Always take care when endorsing violence. There is a time and place for it (1776, 1941, etc) but in most instances if you violate a government’s monopoly on violence and the majority of the people in the country don’t agree with what you are doing then you end up in jail or dead.

We are obliged to pursue change at the ballot box until such time that government violations of inalienable rights become so egregious and extreme that a revolutionary revolt manifests itself organically.

You will know that we have reached such a point when the cops, military, judges, state governors, sheriff’s, etc all finally give the tyrant wannabes the big middle finger and refuse to enforce their “edicts.”

This is how Ceaucescu was overthrown in Rumania in 1989. When the military and parts of the security services abandoned him that POS was well and truly “finished” and he and his hag of a wife ended up getting processed like Swiss Cheese against the cold concrete wall of a basement on a fine Christmas Day.

      • Cankerpuss March 31, 2023 at 11:29 am #

The Revolutionary War was successful because the colonials had statesmen to lead them. They had George Washington, Jefferson and other wealthy land owners to keep the Revolution focused and going in the right direction. Without a statesman to lead the revolution ends up like France’s revolution. Nothing more than a blood bath where everyone turns on their neighbor and public educations become the nightly TV shows.

We need statesmen and stateswomen to rise up and lead.

I don’t support war in any of its forms but I do support justice. The time eventually will come where the politicians will finally be pulled from their offices and will swing from the lampposts for what they have done to their people. The question is, how and when does it come to that point. When we are all starving and have lost everything and have nothing left to lose? This is what I fear.

        • farmgal March 31, 2023 at 12:13 pm #

@CP – great point about statesmen leaders. If Donald Trump did nothing else he pulled the veil away from “conservatives” and made them declare. When I think back on the many “conservatives” that I have admired I almost gag.

Case in point, Trey Gowdy. I really thought he was a true patriot. What did I find? He was notably absent from the House on the day of a pivotal vote (sorry can’t remember which). All he seemed to be good at was righteous indignation and yelling questions across a desk. Questions that were dodged, people who were never subpoenaed, people that were never held accountable. And he is just one of many. I marvel at the clips of these hearings showing how mad everyone is but nothing ever gets accomplished.

It’s no wonder this country is so adrift. The people who represent us are all really tough guys until their donors yank their leash.

          • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 1:23 pm #

He managed to “grill” Hillary Clinton for umpteen hours without asking her one substantive question.

On the other hand, people knock Rand Paul for asking questions that never resolve anything, but how many would keep asking questions after multiple attempts on their life?

Oh that’s right. The latest attack was on an “aide”, not Rand.

They’d have us believe it’s just the retirement age.

Even if it were, asking ditch diggers and such to keep working into their sixties, while at the same time sending money to another country to protect their workers’ pensions, is IMO sufficient reason to riot.

When they come for our SS and Medicare, will we riot? Doubtful.

        • GreenAlba March 31, 2023 at 4:28 pm #

We’ve had some coverage here, but, as Beryl says, it’s all about the retirement age, so most Brits have little sympathy as retirement age here is pushing towards 68. Many Brits still think French people are lazy so-and-so’s who take long lunch hours and want to retire early.

In fact, the French have to work 40 years to get a full pension, and most people have been working the ‘journée continue’ (normal day with no more than an hour for lunch) since the 70s, when I worked there. At that time, we worked a 40-hour week (lowered to 35 by Mitterand), while the UK had been working 35 hours for years.

          • Night Owl March 31, 2023 at 6:29 pm #

The stereotypes about the French always amuse me.

Anyone that has been to Verdun will quickly understand how absurd some of those stereotypes are.

Watching the large numbers of cowardly Americans comment on the protests is the height of comedy, considering most of them have never protested a cause in their lives, and cowered in their homes as the Joe-Joe Magoo unleashed Covid tyranny.

The people who supported him in 2020 and since have turned against him, are not going to turn around and vote for him just because of this phony prosecution.

The people who have been with him all along are still with him, and if upwards of 75 million votes weren’t enough to clinch it for him last time, adding a few more won’t change anything.

The Republicans were in on using that “insurrection” to keep the presentation of the evidence of election fraud from occurring.

There is nothing we can do. Get some popcorn. Work on a barter kit. Avoid the mobs that will ultimately come for your food.

This country is finished. There are no leaders. No statesmen. Good men and women will never be permitted power.

Americans are fat, lazy and stupid. Addicted to drugs, smartphones, pornography and fast food. People like this can’t rise up and purge their Government.

Technology has advanced to the degree that no group could ever meet to plan any such uprising without the state being immediately aware and either crushing it or infiltrating it and using it to their own ends.

          • Cankerpuss March 31, 2023 at 11:53 am #

RD, exactly. That’s why it will take an utter collapse of everything Americans hold dear. At that point technology won’t matter.

The media did a masterful job of keeping Trump front and center for years so that normies and mild supporters suffered from burnout in the same way that people got sick of hearing about Paris Hilton or The Kardashian Koven.

      • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 10:50 am #

I got sick of hearing about him, and I was his supporter before he came down the escalator.

You couldn’t hear his name without witnessing just how bad the “news” industry in this country had gotten, for one thing, and I really didn’t want to be reminded of that constantly.

    • JohnAZ March 31, 2023 at 11:03 am #

      Uh huh.

Trump’s numbers against DeSantis have been climbing since the debacle started and some polls show him up by 30 percent.

People hate the miscarriage of justice and Trump is ground zero right now.

Trump has been the target of the entire Deep State since he walked down the escalator. He is the only anti Deep Stater in the game, the other GOPers are pretty much worthless. His administration will be looked back on as the calm before the storm.

Also, the people elected Trump, the people spoke and the Deep State puked on the people.

      • Cankerpuss March 31, 2023 at 11:20 am #

I often wonder if Trump is the Archduke Franz Ferdinand of our generation.

Things are getting uglier by the day in this Country. Hell, in this world.

        • JohnAZ March 31, 2023 at 11:41 am #

Or are the bad guys, BRICS just taking advantage of the worst and weakest president in American history who now makes Jimmy Carter look like a saint.

I wonder constantly what a world dominated by BRICS is going to look like and how we will be affected. Scary thoughts.

My wife read me a story yesterday where Putin has claimed that Russian subs with new generation torpedoes are going to control the Pacific.

Hmm, could he be supporting one or two of his new found friends?

Empires rise, empires fall. The people don’t disappear.

There are still Italians, and Spaniards, and Brits, and Mayans, and Turks, even if their empires fell.

There will still be Americans and our lives might be better, for all we know.
Does it benefit the average American to be ruled by psychopaths who have killed over 20 million people since WW2, in their pursuit for wealth and power?

            I think not.

          • messianicdruid March 31, 2023 at 5:49 pm #

      • Jarek March 31, 2023 at 1:30 pm #

If they hate him this much, he’s the man for the job. It’s just that simple. I wish it wasn’t, but it is.

He’s very limited in a lot of ways. But there is no one else – at least no one who has a shot. How much of a shot? Very little. They will steal it from him again since the Republican Party won’t really fight for election reform.

        • Rowdypiglet March 31, 2023 at 1:53 pm #

Jarek, that’s it in a nutshell.

His limitations are unfortunate ones, and tweaking his character a wee bit would have gone a long way. But the venom and demonic rage directed at him was unlike anything I’ve seen in my lifetime. That alone convinced me that they felt genuinely threatened by him, much more than his talents would seem to justify.

          • Paula D March 31, 2023 at 3:05 pm #

I feel the same way. I had no opinion about Trump before 2016. But watching the unconcealed hate and venom spewed at him 24/7, including from the Republican columnists that dominated my local paper, made me think that there must be something good about him.

I look at propaganda as a way of finding out what my owners want me to think, not as actual information or ”news”.

Then I usually just think the opposite.

        • Night Owl March 31, 2023 at 6:22 pm #

That is what I have said since day one.

The recent indictment is no different than any of their other attempts to destroy him.

Some just take a long time to engage their critical faculties.

I will never forget that nearly on day one of his presidency, CNN edited video footage of Trump and Japan’s Abe to make it appear Trump dumped a box of fish food into a pond in an oafish manner.

That moment alone told you everything you needed to know about the establishment, its orcs, and what was coming.

      • Night Owl March 31, 2023 at 6:24 pm #

        DeSantis is an establishment candidate.

As so often, many are unable to see what is going on at present, but they will find out in a few years.

    • Wizard of the Saddle March 31, 2023 at 11:09 am #

I tend to agree that most minds will not change, but a few will. I was leaning hard towards DeSantis after last November’s election debacle, but this latest nonsense aimed at The Donald has me feeling “Trumpy” these days. I’m sorta relishing the notion of shoving him down their collective throats in 2024 just like we did in 2016. Seems like poetic justice to me.

      • MaryQueen March 31, 2023 at 11:25 am #

Yes, the Neo Con gang of ghouls as opposed to the Neo-Liberal faction. They basically believe the same things, certainly when it comes to foreign policy. But they have different historical trajectories that got them to the same place, thus different bases that they have to market to differently. Different lies to cover up the same dark Truth.

George Bush’s friendship with Michelle Obama is perfect symbol of this. Are they lovers? Barack would be fine with it, no doubt.

        • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 1:35 pm #

Rove was advising the 2020 campaign. He says he wasn’t; but it sounds to me like he was.

He’s not the most honest guy.

Also Paul Ryan is a bad guy now that he’s with DeSantis, but we tried to tell President Trump he was a bad guy when Trump endorsed him for another term as speaker. He wasn’t listening, and he had sycophants telling us his every boneheaded decision was 99D chess or something.

Agreed, if anyone has a candidate that is anti Deep State like Trump, please “trumpet” his or her identity. Some one who has a track record of non politics and business success as he does.

Do you realize what is really going on with Trump. He represents old school patriotic Americans against the evil powers of the elite class, the Mob, of the country. He is the ONLY one that has directly confronted the bastards in DC. He is the only one that those bastards fear enough to put the entire DOJ into trying to convict him of something, anything to stop him from running again.

The greatest fear of all the Liberal crowd in the country is a lame duck Donald Trump. He underestimated them once, 2020, but will not again.

      • JohnAZ March 31, 2023 at 11:14 am #

This alone gets my vote, unconditionally.

I heard a GOP representative say last week that if the GOP nominates Trump, he will vote for Biden again.

This man is a traitor to his constituency, his job and the USA.

        • kbird March 31, 2023 at 5:46 pm #

The very fact that these evil bastards are still trying to take the man down tells me that Mr. Trump found something and they are terrified of him.

Mr. Trump made some critical errors in his administration by appointing people to his cabinet who fought against him. By shutting down the Country over a benign cold virus and listening to Fauci and Birx.

But, the fact that the enemy of the Constitution and liberty hate the man tells me that he is worth the vote.

I will vote for him. Assuming he actually survives and makes it onto the ballot.

        • JohnAZ March 31, 2023 at 11:47 am #

Can you imagine his chagrin when he entered the WH and found that the only people in the worker pool for the cabinet were all Swamp creatures? That he was the only game in town? That the majority of the people in his own party were against him? That the people’s choice had no chance trying to slow or stop the Deep State.

I would like to be a fly on his wall and hear his most private of conversations. Love him or hate him, Trump is a man. A real man. Not some limp wristed metrosexual smacked down by his nagging bitch of a wife. I’ve always admired the man. At this point I fear for him. All of this nonsense he’s enduring has to have an affect on his physical and mental health. It’s too much for one man to bear.

OMG he hired as many establishment/Swamp creatures as he could get.

Yes, we need Myth and Story. The persecuted hero returns. See the work of Joseph Campbell on the return of the King. Not to participate and support this moment is to cut oneself off from the wellsprings of life.

DeSantis can wait. He’s young and doing a great job. He’s running on a very bad foundation in any case. He needs to go into himself and do the inner work. He needs someone like me as an advisor, maybe the White Nationalist who educated Tucker Carlson for example.

Introversion before extroversion. Gathering inner riches and then sharing them. Enlightenment and then returning to the Marketplace in the Zen ox herding pictures. De Santis can be part of this mythic renewal – a big part. But Trump comes first. Supporting Trump by refusing to extradite is a glorious first step.

        • Rowdypiglet March 31, 2023 at 2:10 pm #

Myth and Story, Jarek. That’s where we could defeat them because they have nothing. But first we would have to embody it in some form and embed it in the group consciousness. Our adversaries can create nothing, so they attempt to unmake Tolkien and turn him to their uses – an utter and complete failure. They have nothing with which to inspire, and ideological fanaticism as Myth and Story has no appeal even to the ideologically possessed.

But I’m not sure that we have what it takes either. At least, we haven’t yet created the myth that would galvanize and inspire young people to turn away from the emptiness of woke. Reading Tolkien and C. S. Lewis (and Sir Thomas Malory) as a young woman informed the rest of my life and set me on a path. What are we offering to young people? Woke Spiderman?

As they always do. The big lie in America is that we have a TWO PARTY SYSTEM. Not even close. We live under a powerful uniparty communist system where one party gives lip service against the other but continues on with the same anti-American, anti-Constitution policies as the other when it is their turn for power. And we the American people continue to bend over and take it where the sun don’t shine. My God, what a pathetic people we have become. Hopelessly addicted to the Government teat for our sustenance and our support. There is no way out of this. There are no statesmen to lead us anymore and if there are any who try then they end up like Donald Trump, endlessly buried in defending himself from nonsense that he has no time to focus on anything of substance or importance. Ultimately perp walked to prison as the media cheers and tells us our precious “democracy” has been saved.

But people still tune into the nightly news.

It doesn’t matter that there is no language in Article II to prevent someone convicted of a crime from running.

There is no punishment for anyone in government who does not uphold their oath of office either.

Yes the remedy is to vote them out, but in order to vote these people out you need a large segment of the population that understand the Constitution and you need free and fair elections.

    • Mac March 31, 2023 at 11:03 am #

There is impeachment, but that requires legislators with cojones.

      • JohnAZ March 31, 2023 at 11:18 am #

It requires a balanced government. Impeachment is a Founding Fathers joke, one of the few they came up with. States use recall elections where the voters decide if a bad selection in an election needs to be removed. Thinkin that the Deep State will terminate one of their own is a fool’s mission. Besides, if you dump Biden, think what happens next. The VP is usually hand picked to back up the president.

        • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 11:58 am #

Impeachment at the legislative level is too unwieldy and cumbersome. There are too many legislators, and arguments over whether or not something is unconstitutional can go on for years.

ReElect Nobody – Captain Obvious’ term limit.

  22. Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 11:03 am #

I think I mentioned before that Andrew Cuomo has stuck up for President Trump.

    Smart move.

In much of the public’s mind, Mr. Trump was guilty of a sex crime and shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it.

So, President Trump beats the charge, and it makes Andrew look like a victim, because he was pushed out of office over some old allegations of sex crimes.

One of the media outlets, I think it was the NYT, actually referred to Michael Cohen as President Trump’s “fixer”. To make a paperwork “crime” look more lurid.

    • Paula D March 31, 2023 at 3:14 pm #

A sex crime? Are there really any Americans who think that sex with a consenting adult is a crime? Yes, it was adultery, but Democrats are not usually concerned about that.

The Democrats who are salivating over this don’t think that anything sexual is a crime. They are pushing to overturn the laws on pedophilia.
They cheer on drag queens in the schools.

They have no room to talk.

      • JohnAZ March 31, 2023 at 3:21 pm #

They have no morality except to gain power.

      • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 3:27 pm #

I keep hearing members of the general public bringing the alleged sex into it.

When Clinton was impeached, that’s all anyone talked about the fact that he had sex with an intern.

I even pointed out to one person that adultery is no longer a crime, and he said “it is in the military, and he’s the head of the military”.

Yes, there are people then and now who think these are sex crimes.

        • Mac April 1, 2023 at 8:09 am #

The problem with Clinton’s affair is that it opened him up to blackmail. If he did it with her, he could do it with a spy.

  23. Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 11:07 am #

This kind of bogus prosecution actually originated with the Republican Bush clan.

How many people think Bill Clinton was guilty of sex with an intern, and was impeached for a sex crime?

Who saved that Access Hollywood tape for eleven years and used it to try to take Donald Trump out of the presidential race?

    • benr March 31, 2023 at 11:11 am #

Bill Clinton was impeached for lying about the act not the actual act.
Most private executives would be fired for sex with an intern in the office I might add. Bill should have been as well.

Trump is accused of a paying hush money to cover up an alleged consensual sexual act with a porn star who then committed a felony by demanding hush money to keep quiet. She was not an intern or even an employee zero comparison can be made.

Statute of limitations expired this is a joke.

      • JohnAZ March 31, 2023 at 11:20 am #

Actually, then are saying that the hush money was campaign funds, that is the illegality.

      • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 12:08 pm #

The point is, there was nothing illegal or criminal ,about Bill’s encounter with Monica Lewinsky, and there was no justification for the FBI to be involved it that as all.

The president lives in the White House, there isn’t the same distinction between the workplace and home as in private industry, nor is there the distinction between on the clock and off.

If people were disgusted to find that Bill was committing an act of hanky panky with an intern, that’s fine, and they had every right not to vote for someone whose behavior goes against their morals.

Just as they’d hoped that Access Hollywood tape would keep people from voting for Trump in the first place.

I remember Andy Rooney, who voted for Clinton twice, being disgusted with the attempt to remove the duly elected president over Bill’s lying when questioned about “an embarrassing personal matter”, which is what it boiled down to.

What a complete waste of America’s time and money, just to hassle and smear a poltical threat to the Bush family.

Later on, when Bill and HW made up, they had no qualms at all about Bill’s lack of character.

That was when Bill and Hillary’s fortunes really took off.

        • benr March 31, 2023 at 6:13 pm #

No it is a government office and having sex in a government office will get you wrote up and fired.
Further at that point it was also grounds for oss of security clearance there is no way around it what Bill did was wrong. He should have taken her to a hotel room.

The Access to Hollywood tape shows the power of the media to tell an outright lie and get people to believe it.

Trump said that if you are rich and powerful, some women will let you do anything, including grabbing them by the pussy.

It was Trump being Trump, bragging about his wealth. He never said he actually did it.

But the media spun it that way, and there are millions of Americans too stupid to be able to hear his actual words and understand them.

And those happen to be the same ones who will look at videos of Biden proving Trump’s point by groping and sniffing women and children, who let him do it, because he is powerful, and tell you that he is ”just friendly”.

Falling for propaganda as blatant as that, and refusing to listen or see reality, just proves that most people are dumb as rocks.

      • JohnAZ March 31, 2023 at 3:26 pm #

Trump re-elected in 2024? My big ass he’ll be re-elected in 2024. He will most likely be assassinated by then. They won’t stop until the poor man is dead or close to it. No, what is coming will most likely be an administration of Gavin Newsome and Gretchen Whitmer or Gretchen Witmer and Gavin Newsome. The Republicans will never take the White House again and will never take the Senate as our elections are a sham and the State’s refuse to fix them. And so what! Even if the Republicans won they wouldn’t do a damned thing to resolve any of this. The Republican scum will continue to support and fund illegal wars in foreign lands that pose no threat to us. Continue to spend more money than we have. Continue to grow Government to unsustainable levels. Continue to rob the gullible American people by printing more fake money.

We are soooooo hosed as a people. Now they are arresting former presidents. Are they going to make Trump do the perp walk with his secret service detail in tow? Good God what an utter embarrassment especially as everything the other fucking politicians currently in power are doing is contrary to the Constitution, or what should be the law of the land. Nobody cares. The Constitution is nothing but ass fodder now.

I once loved my Country. Now my Country offends me to the very core. The American people are a foolish, stupid, decadent breed who deserve to live under a communist regime that tells them how often they brush their teeth or wash their laundry. I can’t even begin to express my disgust with what America has become.

What is so disheartening is all of this began a hundred years before I was even born. Thanks President Lincoln. What a swell guy.

I sympathize with your outrage, Cankerpuss. I was there about 2 years ago. That has now passed and a strange calm has descended upon me.

Despite the travesty of justice that this indictment represents, I feel as cool as a Vulcan from Star Trek this morning.

The Left “melts down” over everything. This is the nature of an infantile mind. We on the Right are the actual adults in the room. We recognize a fraud and a farce when we see one and react accordingly – with a yawn.

Yes – we’ve gone through a couple of election cycles that were shot-through with fraud. We made some progress here and there in 2022 in patching some of the leaks in the dam, but a lot more work remains to be done.

Republicans got caught flat-footed because Dems decided to leave the reservation and pursue an agenda of transforming the country into a Banana Republic. Prior to 2020 no one really thought even the Dems would ever truly muster the cojones to go full Leninist on us all, but now they have and we recognize what they are up to.

While the Old Guard GOP stalwarts are truly a hopelessly clueless and cowardly lot, the up-and-coming generation of based, hard-Right, GOP street fighters of the Alt Right and MAGA persuasions are steadily consolidating their control of the GOP at the grass roots level. I fully expect the RINO class to go extinct over the next 10 years and the new breed of Republicans will go toe-to-toe with these Ass Clowns. It’s already starting to happen.

No GOP politician will ever do everything we want all of the time, but I think the rising stars are a damn sight better than the Chamber of Commerce whores who have dominated the Republican Party for the past century.

Besides, in the worst case scenario, the state-level MAGA’s will be the firewall against federal oppression. If a nation divorce is in our future, they will likely be the ones leading the charge, as MTG has already sorta suggested recently.

      • Cankerpuss March 31, 2023 at 12:03 pm #

Well said. I hope you’re right. I suppose the strange calm you feel is knowing that there isn’t much we can do and that we are only along for the ride, whatever happens.

the 2020 SElection proved pretty much everything you said. I seriously doubt a Republican can ever win the presidency. The inner city Democrat clubhouse that controls the COUNTING will never be reversed. I KNOW FOR A FACT that in NY, they have been skewing the vote counts by 4-5% for 75 years. Now it’s national. The big blue inner cities are controlled by the DNC who hire the ‘colored counters’ and at $26 per hour they do what they’re told. Between early and mail in voting, we are fucked.
I’m ’roundin 3rd base’ now, so I probaby won’t see the complete American implosion, but I’m seeing the beginnings of it..

Another fine essay today, Jim, and thank you. That google censorship is just beyond the pale, but of course that’s how we know we’re living in a totalitarian state, about to become even more authoritarian soon.

I find it interesting, though, that the same people who eschew the 2 party system and gets that this is all kabuki theater are still hanging onto what is essentially a big reality show.

Really? Our choices are between Woke Jacobin globalists and a neutered Trump? And no one is thinking outside of that? Shows you how far we’ve fallen. What is it, Stockholm syndrome at work?

He talks about it, but that task force of his was full of Deep State actors, and he still covers for them by insisting they did a bang up job.

Somebody should be asking VP Pence some tough questions about why he had such people in his employ in the first place, let alone why he put them on a task force for a virus, when they had ZERO medical or science background.

Pence also helped mess up the actions that were supposed to take place on January 6.

If President Trump were to admit that his own decisions and actions on that task force were not the best, that would open the door to exposing Pence’s culpability.

He only cares about what Pence did on January 6.

“… a lot of this craziness if you like – comes from rural white Americans, who feel that they are losing their country – their ownership of the country. And they are right!

We are becoming more diverse, more multicultural, and they are, in the end, they’re, they’re they’re THEY’RE NOT THE FUTURE.

In the end, the power they still have will go away, but its a very difficult time until then.”

    – Paul Krugman 2018 (said on video you can find it on line)

He admits it. They are taking away the country. Rural whites are the intended target – all whites are the target and have been for over 70 years.

Jailing Trump is taking away their representative. It is pretty astonishing how psychopathic and matter of fact this evil is.

No, the non-Whites are incapable of running this country as evidenced by the mess they have created in all cities, without exception.

John, you talk about extrapolating the future. Let’s also look back at the past.

It looks to me like places like Chicago and Baltimore were only left to black-dominated government after they were pretty much wrecked by white-dominated government.

This is something that bears an honest study, but it is something that no one is going to allow an honest study of.

Well, objectively speaking, those are leftist policies.

Re the matter of conservatives being racist, the various problems created by blacks (crime, low IQ, etc.) are objective facts. The term “Nazi” is one of those words whose definition is disputed. You can notice that here, on a regular basis. “White supremacist” is also a term with an uncertain definition.

Do note, though, that your list of leftist policies are, in fact, crimes. The list of accusations against supposed “conservatives” are merely opinions–and hence none of your business.

I’ve been toying lately in my frazzled brain with the notion of how to build a new Turing Test.

Along with some other random thoughts recently about the content hereabouts, it occurred to me the possibility that the algorithm [Algo, I call it] has already provided me with that test along with the convenient results.

See, it breaks down like this. Any human brain that was JHK of the Long Emergency would not be in this place today. That is to say, Clusterfuck Nation is simply a tiny sub-routine of the massive simulation which we perceive to be Industrial Human Society: 2023. It is all Algo, folks and the bottom line is that the only sustainable relationship that humanity can have on this Earth is one of a Stone Age existence, ruling elite be damned [I hope].

I wish there were more men like him. Men able to stand up to their women. Men able to knock their disobedient teenage sons around when they deserve it. Real men. Women who put dinner on the table, make sure the homework is done. Women who hold other’s accountable, but detach with dignity, if they don’t, but maintain their role, and responsibility, regardless. Women who are not sex objects, for other’s ridicule, and ultimately are targeted for being the only adult in the room for the children. “I admire him. I wish there were more men like him. Men able to stand up to their women. ”

Yep, what the world needs is more men to get married to three wives and cheat on all three of them. Why any woman would have so little self-respect as to stay with a man two dozen years older than her who cheated on her while she was carrying his child is beyond me. I wouldn’t give him house room.

Fine if people want him as president and don’t want to know about him being a cheating scumbag in his personal life, though. They’re perfectly entitled to do that if they think he can do what they want. But to pretend he has anything admirable about him in relation to his multiple wives is laughable.

While the idiotic masses are distracted by the “illegal” aliens flooding in and allegedly destroying their country, a supposed “legal” alien, Soros, continues his very real destruction of the USA. Destroying law and order, decorum, and civilized behaviors. Because he can. Because his bought and paid for minions use the old “dog whistle” card anytime this absolute reality and truth is broadcast.

Meanwhile the elite use the government they own to move to protect their wealth while the deposited wealth of the masses looks more and more susceptible to wipe-out.

But keeps being distracted by trans, black reparations (the only way the Dems can get this needed demographic to vote for their old, rich, sorry, and white asses) while the elite autocracy protects their wealth and power and throws in the very real threat to their uniparty servants into the clink.

The WEF is not some faceless entity, they are merely another prong on satan’s trident. Soros has always agitated for the destruction of national sovereignty, borders, and law & order all over the world.

        • Night Owl March 31, 2023 at 12:43 pm #

Not the best description. They are rather the public face for a set of very wealthy global terrorists.

The reason some of us mention them so often is that all of the bad actors responsible for what has occured over the past few years are linked to this group.

Bilderberg (which was said never to exist) is a prong of WEF, along with Wellcome Trust, the Atlantic Council, etc.

    • Jarek March 31, 2023 at 2:39 pm #

The illegals and Black are their weapons, reparations and open borders are the sharpening of those weapons.

I remember when Connie was a sensible conservative lady. Not too long ago, either. Soon the mask will come off completely, eh?

      • JohnAZ March 31, 2023 at 3:37 pm #

Who is enabling the Blacks and illegals?

That is the number one enemy of the country.

Also, the border issues, drugs and trafficking are financing the WEF and IMF.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi declared yesterday that Mr. Trump “has the right to prove his innocence.”

The old witch and the rest of the “progressive” authoritarians aren’t even trying to hide this political hit job.

    • Connie VanPeebles March 31, 2023 at 12:30 pm #

Now, hopefully, the dimmer bulbs out there, and they are legion, can contemplate why the Uniparty staged a scripted “insurrection” and broadcast their punishments on the national boob-tube.

It was a warning: we are going to maintain our hijacking of this government, the rule of law, the nation, and any and all dissent will not be tolerated. From the streets to political opponents.

    • tom clark March 31, 2023 at 3:10 pm #

    • Paula D March 31, 2023 at 3:27 pm #

No, if they have the power to ban, they’re winning. As Jim from Florida used to say, a dead tree can stand in the forest for a very long time.

America is dead, but it may stand for a long time. Historians may know the truth, but by then people will be concerned with other issues and principals. Like who is the rightful heir to the suddenly deceased King of Ohio or something.

The FBI has released its national crime stats for 2019. Murder was down 0.2%. While blacks made up 52.5% of known murder offenders from 1980-2008, their percentage continues to inch upwards, reaching 55.9% in 2019: That means blacks were 8.2 times per capita as likely as a nonblack to be a known murder offender in 2019.

I’m so glad you commented! I’ve been meaning to follow up with you. The orders that I placed, which you were worried would be unfillable due to demand overtaking supply, have arrived.

But the seller I worked with, and have worked with before, made some interesting comments about difficulties delivering the items. There are a growing number of places that he cannot deliver to. I thought this was worth following up on, so I’m trying to research it. It reminded me of a short period of time during the covid lunacy that postal workers were allowed to confiscate packages marked as “ivermectin”. Did you hear about that?

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know about my experience.

Suggested solutions to the intended globalization and techno-feudal enslavement by the WEF/Davos/WHO, etc. (or as NO calls them, wealthy global terrorists), from Catherine Austin Fitts:

    – Stop CBDCs. Use cash!

    – Encourage the elites to fight among themselves

    – Encourage sovereign banks at the state/region/local level

    – Avoid biometric technology, QR codes, avoid surveillance as much as possible, avoid smart phones as much as possible (consider Faraday bags that work)

    – Discuss with local busines people who will be wiped out too by the digital control grid

    – Discuss what is going on with local political leaders

    – Join the effort to Exit the WHO

    – Say no to taxation without representation

    – Bring transparency to everything possible, including discussing with your friends/relatives/associates

    – A central banker revealed to Richard Werner that the plan is to chip everyone

    – Celebrate the opportunity to become more resilient, reduce your dependency, invest in local farmer or growing food, and fight an alien, unacceptable, cruel, rapacious totalitarian system that will stop at nothing to grab everything including your children.

CBDC is coming to the US. And they will start with people receiving government benefits. So anyone receiving disability payments, social security, welfare, snap, etc will be affected. Government employee payrolls will likely be next. Tax refunds are an obvious soft target for being paid in CBDC. And then I think they will incentivize corporate America to use CBDC over cash. I think we’ll have two currencies for a while and then they will ban cash.

        Just my prediction.

Now we need women to stand up for men’s rights – disowning their friends and family (even their own daughters) who destroy men thru divorce.

      • MaryQueen March 31, 2023 at 3:06 pm #

Men already have all the rights, or the trans agenda wouldn’t be so powerful, and be steamrolling over women’s rights.

As I’ve explained to you before, the Men Rights Advocates/Activists (or the manosphere) and the TRAs have the exact same goals, which is to subjugate women.

Therefore, most women aren’t going to support it.

        • Connie VanPeebles March 31, 2023 at 3:09 pm #

Exactly. Trans-rights is about men being able to do whatever TF they want.

          • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2023 at 3:44 pm #

Very much a male dominant agenda.

That freak admiral or whatever he is in the Biden Administration, he was talking the other day about how important it was that he didn’t “transition” too early. It may have had to do with the World Athletics not allowing men who experience puberty as men to compete as women. I don’t kknow, I was trying not to pay attention.

He said if he had switched too soon (and he did the whole deal, now they don’t require that because men don’t want to) he wouldn’t have his children.

That’s the mentality, it’s all about what the man wants. Bruce Jenner fathered and abandoned three, count ’em, three sets of children before deciding, “you know what, I’m not your father, I’m your mother” or something like that.

The creepy admiral and other males should be granted the power to decide they are girls when it suits them; to Hell with their wives, their children, girls who want to compete in sports, i’s all about the MAN.

A woman in my family who actually saw Brokeback Mountain told me that the disturbing thing about the film and all the accolades for it was that nobody cared about the women in the story, the women tricked and used by the men. It was all about how sad it was for the men.

          • MaryQueen March 31, 2023 at 5:28 pm #

A-Jerk is clueless about 9/11, which should not surprise anyone. His brain is on another planet.

So why do men end up impoverished or even on the street after divorce, sometimes having to forgo money for food and medicine in order to pay alimony?

Paying for kids he may never get to see. What kind of dominance is this? None at all.

          • Jarek April 1, 2023 at 1:04 pm #

A movie, Berry? That’s all you got? A projection onto a screen – like how you all project your lack of caring about men onto us, as if we don’t care about women.

“If men could have abortions, abortion would be a sacrament.”

Projection. Abortion is a sacrament of Feminism. Face yourselves. And yes, it will be very painful. It’s not a pretty sight.

        • JohnAZ March 31, 2023 at 3:58 pm #

Mary, there is a significant portion of women that want no part of your women’s rights, content to being Moms and wives.

BTW, what rights are we talking about. The FF said we have three God given rights,
Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The Bill of Rights expanded on this.

Exactly what of the BOR don’t women have?

You possess the most important negotiating tools in history, the access to sex and the ability to procreate, and have been extremely successful at utilizing those “skills”.

I worked in two worlds, Chip engineering and nursing, and noticed very little difference between them.

If abortion is the right you have a problem with, I understand that. But what about the rights of the unborn.

          • JohnAZ March 31, 2023 at 4:05 pm #

Democracy is a overused word, there are no democracies any where.

Democracy says every person has a direct say on communal decision making.

Diversity is the enemy of democracy, as the different cultures cannot get together to decide anything. Democracy fails.

The early Christians in Jerusalem tried to follow Jesus’ vision of the Kingdom, closely resembling real Communism. It failed miserably as the administration to the poor rapidly surpassed available resources.

Thus it has always been. The US is failing right now in the battle to promote UBI, for the same reason.

Gates is a capitalist who’s already won and is consolidating his gains. Musk is a young capitalist who’s still conniving to get his. And Bezos might well end up dwarfing both of them, if he hasn’t already. He’s certainly in better shape physically.

    • Paula D March 31, 2023 at 3:50 pm #

The Texas cops were ordered to stand down. It wasn’t only the city cops there, as I understand it.
Wasn’t it a Border Patrol cop who finally disobeyed and went in to stop the shooter?

That was a planned attack, imo. They had the ”we need gun control to stop this” narrative all ready to go, but then the internet interfered by allowing us plebes to see what really went on.

That is why they are criminalizing truth telling on the internet.

      • Paula D March 31, 2023 at 3:53 pm #

Same with Newtown. I remember Biden, then the vice-president, saying something like, “If 20 dead kindergarteners won’t get us gun control, what will?”

It gave me the chills, because I understood that they would come up with something.

        • MaryQueen March 31, 2023 at 5:34 pm #

For some insane reason, people STILL don’t understand the level of psychopathy we’re dealing with regarding our ruling overlords.

They are evil through and through. You are spot on, there are so many questions around all of the school shootings because many of them are false flags. As you and I know, it takes very little to expose the false flag but then you get censored for pointing it out, and these days you are a conspiracy theorist if you don’t go along with the official version.

Well, that actually has been since the 1990s – I remember Waco. No one even questioned the FBI burning 70 people to death.

          • Paula D March 31, 2023 at 5:50 pm #

Right. And I didn’t either, until the internet gave me access to a documentary made by Brits.

It hadn’t occurred to me that if they wanted to arrest him, they could have done it any time he went into town. They didn’t have to burn people alive.

Same with Noriega. They killed thousands of people and burned down entire neighborhoods to arrest a drug dealer?

One they had collaborated with for decades? I had to see a doc on that one, also, to fully understand the atrocity.

          • Mac April 1, 2023 at 8:50 am #

Same with Randy Weaver at Ruby Ridge. Could have been easily arrested at the grocery store.

          • MaryQueen April 1, 2023 at 11:33 am #

Yes, a lot of these horrifying incidents are now known (to some) for what they really are. They are basically a war on civilians, showing us what happens if you try to live in a parallel society, which is what millions are pretty sure we have to do now.

They’ve set the precedent of what they are capable of. Look at 9/11, the Oklahoma federal building bombing, the fake-ass Boston Marathon bombing and the Vegas shooting… all of them so easy to see beyond the official story. They don’t even try to make it difficult because they know they control the narrative.

          • elysianfield April 1, 2023 at 12:06 pm #

That was, indeed, the Official Story, EF.

And most of the country, accustomed to hearing it used about people in other countries, nodded sagely and said “Sounds legit”.

  41. TPTB-USA March 31, 2023 at 2:04 pm #

This indictment represents an opportunity, in that a segment of the population is open to entertain a big picture perspective that is moved from the boundary of the US, all the way out to the boundary of the world.

This morning Mark Levin pointed out that all the nonsense was just “noise”, and went on to explain his US big picture perspective, that “Joe Biden’s” actions amounted to tyranny. Josh Hawley did similar, and Jim Jordan and James Comer are poking at the outer US boundary as well, but others like Gordon G. Chang completely ignore the nonsense in favor of focusing on a detail that will be irrelevant if tyranny sets-in.

The likes of Alvin Bragg, Chuck Schumer, and MSM are intent on slow-walking this indictment clear through the 2024 election, but with an overwhelming amount of evidence I sense that the big picture is ready for break-out, and the conductors at the world level that are orchestrating all the chaos in the process of implementing their 2030/WEF/Great Reset agenda could have a runaway narrative on their hands.

Last evening Fox news was running their regular commentary segments commercial free. I suspect that there is a segment of the population that is searching for answers, and if they come across some logical explanations for the nonsense, they are not going to be sitting still for another “Mueller investigation”.

The current primary objective is to destroy the existing format for life, and the secondary objectives are to feed “noise” to MSM.

Keep the focus on the big picture perspective!

The solution is for someone of standing to articulate the predicament.

While it appears that Trump will likely be a primary person of standing, he is not the best one to articulate the predicament, and his message would fall on deaf ears for those with TDS; while someone like Harmeet Dhillon might be able to be heard and shed some light on the predicament.

This is far beyond bannings and censorings and into literally using the criminal justice system to fine and imprison dissidents.

There doesn’t seem to be any good solution.

          • Night Owl March 31, 2023 at 6:34 pm #

            The solution is non-compliance.

They cannot hope to control the masses if the masses say no.

And only about 20-30% of the masses need refuse to significantly hinder or even stop the agenda.

This is why Covid failed. There were just enough people willing to say no that they had to back off. The same is true for the climate hoax and move to finalize the infrastructure for the digital plantation.

They simply do not have the resources to deal with 20-30% of the population telling them to fuck off in every country.

          • gustafson.robert.22 March 31, 2023 at 11:23 pm #

20-30% non-compliance is not that hard. I don’t see any of these measures succeeding if that’s the required pushback. What are you so worried about? People got hit cold-turkey with covid and still achieved significant enough pushback. WEF dreams are mostly impractical, unenforceable dreams by silly, wishful dreamers.

          • TPTB-USA April 1, 2023 at 2:06 am #

Night Owl, people with half a brain aren’t going to risk being subject to a J6th (or Canadian truckers) treatment, and until something gives, I can’t see an effective push-back taking root.

That isn’t to say that the dam isn’t about to break, but one needs to keep their head and reassess the situation when that happens.

          • Night Owl April 1, 2023 at 9:08 am #

TP, as they continue to ratchet things up, what you think “people with half a brain” should not or will not do is likely what they will need to do.

The CBDC and biometric payment and surveillance are very close at hand.

The US lags behind, but here in Europe a number of these things are being rolled out right now.

What we see in France is what will be necessary if things continue to progress. And they will.

          • TPTB-USA April 2, 2023 at 1:59 pm #

The implementation of CBDC and biometric payment and surveillance are inevitable. I do not see such as necessarily bad, the issue is how the information will being utilized and by whom, and that should horrify every human being.

Seems that many of the ideas that are promoted are on the verge of implementation, and all that is needed is a glimmer of green light to trigger the implementation.

You are likely aware that Macron is a member of the upper echelons of the WEF, do you think that he would hesitate accepting the offer of help from Xi to put down an insurrection that France was unable to control? Let your imagination run wild. Do you think the civil unrest by those on the right will unite the population, or is it more likely to send the dissidents to a “re-education” camp?

But when is a climax not a climax? This ‘climax’ is still but foreplay in this ongoing sickly Sado-Maso Soap Opera. The Wokesters and the Degraded Dems NEED the ‘evil’ Orange Man to give their sad and empty lives meaning and purpose. They try to inflict pain on him… and then they patiently wait for him to inflict something back upon them. It’s a symbiotic relationship of Mutual Assured Destructive Dependence for both sides. A sickly Soap Opera fitting for a sickly social Age that we currently live in.

And climaxes are supposed to be fun and feel good. This Wokester ‘climax’ doesn’t even feel that good to The Wokesters because They know that there’s… more to ‘come’… so to speak.

“As to qualifications to be president, the Constitution simply states: a presidential candidate must be a natural born citizen of the United States, a resident for 14 years, and 35 years of age or older. There is no language in Article II that might legally prevent someone convicted of a petty crime, fairly or otherwise, from running for the job.”

And apparently there’s nothing in the Constitution that requires a man who has trouble remembering who and where he is… and who is leveling every major social and economic institution in America from ending his ongoing sit-in at the Oval Office and keeping the chair warmed up for the next sad Wokester Apologist unhinged from Reality to slide right in to.

In the classic ‘The Honeymooners’… in one episode they described the requirements to become a member of the Raccoon Lodge. The requirements were… the candidate had to be a citizen of the United States… they had to graduate from Grammar School… and they had to pay a $3 initiation fee.

To which Ed Norton quickly replied… ‘There’s your trouble right there! The requirements are TOO TOUGH!’.

Trump was impeached over the claim that his asking about the status of an investigation into corruption supposedly was an attempt to sabotage one of the Democrat presidential candidates, and sabotaging a candidacy was a serious enough crime to remove him from office.
But now the Democrats are doing a victory dance over indicting him because they think it will stop him from running and no one brings up the impeachment charade relevance.

They ran through an entire impeachment based on that and the claim that he withheld lethal weapons to the regime in Ukraine which was using them to kill the citizens of eastern Ukraine, but that fact was never once mentioned in the entire months long circus of an impeachment.
And now they are openly arming the same regime and killing even more citizens of eastern Ukraine, and telling us how great it is.

The FBI had custody of a computer whose contents proved that the president was not wrong to ask about the investigation, but the FBI sat on the evidence, an actual serious crime which has gone unpunished.
Withholding evidence is a crime in our system of justice. At least the previous system of justice. Our previous system of justice also included the basic right that you are Innocent Until Proven Guilty. Nancy Pelosi, the ringleader of the witch hunt of the aforementioned sham impeachment trial, tweeted that Trump had the right to prove himself innocent, thereby showing yet again that she has no clue what this country supposedly was founded on.
The entire mass media and social media complex then colluded to suppress the facts of the computer and its contents from coming to public attention until the sham election was over. This is not a prosecutable crime, I assume, but it is a crime against democracy.

And yet the Democrats still manage to self-identify as the Good Guys.

In fact, it mirrors what I said last week. Biden knows how to play by te rules and provide the superficial image of a decent human being–to the point that he can fondle children in public while their parents smile and nod.

This is from a sermon in 1925 when Britain still thought it was going to rule far into the future. But there were people even then who knew with no moral core there would be no great nation left:

    The Seven Social Sins are:

    Wealth without work.
    Pleasure without conscience.
    Knowledge without character.
    Commerce without morality.
    Science without humanity.
    Worship without sacrifice.
    Politics without principle.

From a sermon given by Frederick Lewis Donaldson in Westminster Abbey, London, on March 20, 1925.”

  53. Islander March 31, 2023 at 6:10 pm #

    Just as I said!

The Offenders are trying to pull a DARVO defense maneuver, re-reverse Offender and Victim, and occupy the Victim position.

The trannies claim to be the ones being threatened by those who note that a trans-man killed three children and three teachers.

So threatened are they that they have canceled their peaceful “Trans Day of Vengeance”!!!

(warning: snark overload in the system—something might blow!).

This is how they “defend” their Victim trenches on the rhetorical war terrain.

    • MaryQueen March 31, 2023 at 6:49 pm #

Great article – and DARVO is 100% spot on. I would like to see the alleged threats that the Trans are getting. I am guessing that they are people mentioning that the shooter ID’d as trans and asking for the manifesto.

That seems to = literal violence to them.

      • Islander March 31, 2023 at 8:14 pm #

The thing is that the Victim/Offender dynamic is still very much in flux.

Unlike the situation with blacks as official permanent victims.

There was no hint of verbal retaliation (except in the right to far-right alt media such as at the Unz Review) to reverse the Offender/Victim desgination after various black crimes. That is simply *not allowed.*

The trannies are trying to gain this sacred unquestioned secular Christ Victim status with all of their noise about being under threat and wrest permanent victimhood from those who identify more with the true Victims (3 children and 3 teachers) than with the por violent trannies.

So the would-be Victims are now organizing self-defense groups—questioning this (and maybe pointing out that potential for further organized violence from a bunch of gun-toting freaks) will be made equivalent being an Offender and Attacker.

        • Islander March 31, 2023 at 8:17 pm #

The thing is that the Victim/Offender dynamic is still very much in flux.

I mean to say “. . . in flux when it comes to trannies versus normies. Not so the racial dynamic. The blacks are permanent victims, the whites, permanent offenders, no matter the details of the specific case. Who murdered whom. “

          • Jarek April 1, 2023 at 1:32 pm #

Blacks fall into this feeling very easily. Not all Africans have it, but they easily acquire it in proximity to Whites.

It seems to be genetic. A racial trait can easily be actualized or made active in the presence of a higher race.

It almost like that they were molded into the role of scavenger and predator by some higher force in order to quicken the destruction of degenerate civilizations.

        • MaryQueen March 31, 2023 at 8:32 pm #

The irony here is that most of the TRAs & their allies are anti-gun. They all blamed the gun for the massacre at Covenant. And so them arming themselves shows more of their cognitive dissonance. They are utterly crazy at this point. So people should be aware.

It’s all black South Carolina vs. all lily white Iowa in the women’s NCAA Basketball Final Four tonight. It will take a miracle for the Hawks, Caitlin Clark or no Caitlin Clark.

    • Disaffected April 1, 2023 at 12:05 am #

And lily white Iowa gets the miracle they need in the form of pimple-faced Caitlin Clark and her 41 points, sending previously undefeated and number one ranked South Carolina home, 77-73. What’ya know? White girls can jump!

Did any of the White girls from Iowa get punched out after the game?

        • Disaffected April 1, 2023 at 12:10 pm #

Believe it or not, no. But the commentators on “Brother from Another,” a black sports talk show on NBC’s Peacock, were carrying on all week about unfair it was that a white girl – Caitlin Clark – on a team that has yet to win it all was getting all the attention this year instead of the black chick (forget her name) on defending national champ and undefeated South Carolina, so I and a whole lot of people I think were pulling for Iowa to shut all that stupid shit up. And she delivered, good as advertised. South Carolina played bully ball in and around the hoop but couldn’t shoot threes to save their lives, whereas Clark shoots threes with deadly accuracy all night long and ain’t bad in the paint either. It was a great game, and I pretty much NEVER watch women’s basketball.

          • Q. Shtik April 1, 2023 at 4:01 pm #

I pretty much NEVER watch women’s basketball. – Disaff

I also rarely watch women’s basketball but because of all the hype about this Caitlin Clark chick I decided to tune in. I arrived in the middle of the second quarter.

The women play four 10 min quarters while the men play two 20 min haves. It adds up to the same total play time (40 mins) so I don’t know why the women do 4 quarters.

As you say, Ms Clark lived up to the hype, sinking 3 pointers regularly plus driving shots in the paint. She is much shorter than many of the other women…only 6’0″.

I noticed that South Carolina’s undefeated run had extended to more than a year. I believe the exact figure was 389 days. It must have been a crushing blow to come that far and fail to make it to the championship game which is played tomorrow.

Meanwhile, in men’s B-Ball the final four (2 games) are played this evening with the championship game on Monday. I’ll be rooting for UConn. They have an 18 year old freshman who’s 7’2″ tall.

          • Disaffected April 1, 2023 at 9:01 pm #

The question on everyone’s mind is whether Cailin Clark is in any way related to our very own “lo’t” tommy clark.

By the way, I was trying to figure her weight mentally earlier in the day. My initial guess was 120′ based on her very slender figure. Much to my surprise Wikipedia, lists her as 155′. Whatever the weight, she’s one helluva baller.

In my studies of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is …in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A variety of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.

The Deep State is unipolar. Trump thought he was going to change that fact in 2016, Drain the swamp. His base had hopes that he could. He never stood a chance, his biggest opponents were in his own party.

A representative or senator from a district or state is quickly absorbed into the Deep State. The Deep State represents itself and itself only. The biggest fools on America are those that think their reps work for them. The moment they walking into the Capitol building, that ceased and their number one priority became preservation and expansion of the power of the Deep State.

Right now, the DS represents nothing but a small amount of states on the east coast and a half dozen or so cities. The rest of the country is ignored.

It was pointed out that a white light shining on a white helmet would make it look white; a yellow light shining on a white helmet would make it look yellow; and a yellow light shining on a yellow helmet would make it look white (I hope I got that right).

Hilarious. WSJ sends a journalist to Russia & then is throwing fits because he was arrested.

    • Beryl of Oyl April 1, 2023 at 11:29 am #

I saw that. My first thought was, “I didn’t know the WSJ ran spies.”

I wish these papers would send more reporters to cover the combat in Ukraine.

I remember during the Iraq war, all the newspeople were so thrilled to be there.

“Yippee, look at me! I’m embedded with the troops!” Night after night.

      • BackRowHeckler April 1, 2023 at 11:58 am #

Beryl it’s hard to find any news whatsoever on the war in Ukraine; with the MSM anyway it seems to have dropped off the radar. I mean news is available but you have to really endeavor to find it, and it is to be found from European news sources, Al Jazeera, and a few sites from India. You no longer can simply turn on network news and find out how the war on the eastern front is going, not that they were giving you a true picture to begin with.

In another matter, Ford has raised the price of its Ford F150 Lightening EV pickup to $61,999 ~ for the basic, sh#tbox golfcart, model. Just 2 years ago this truck was introduced as the “Affordable EV” at $41,999. Adding any kind of accessories jack up the price considerably, so that very few of these vehicles can be found for less than $100,000 on the lot. Just the same, Ford claims there is high demand, and they will be ramping up production soon (as soon as they can access enough rare earth metals necessary) However, prices will not be coming down. My opinion is that a hard pressed American buying public will not be able to afford a $100,000 EV pickup, specially one that cannot plow snow or tow loads very well. With its 300 mile range under ideal conditions what is it good for ~ aside perhaps Suzy Cream Cheese, trophy wife in Greenwich, Ct who wants to “Go Country”, but be “Environmentally Conscious” at the same time, to drive to the spa, and then haul a few bags of groceries home from the vegan market?

        • Beryl of Oyl April 1, 2023 at 12:17 pm #

They aren’t worried about the insufficient grid for these vehicles because they don’t intend for us to have any vehicles.

          • Disaffected April 1, 2023 at 12:48 pm #

Agreed. Their marketing tells the tale. They’re looking for upscale buyers who have enough money and options in life that they can be “environmentally conscious” at the expense of practicality. In other words: virtue signalers.

Out west here, EV’s are never going to be practical. Many people out here would be using that 300 mile range up daily or even less commuting (typical used car mileage out here after three years: 75-100K miles), and there simply aren’t enough charging stations out there or time available to use them to support all that nonsense. Not to mention the price of all that electricity would go through the roof with that much extra demand, so there goes the “savings.”

I think the lab is embracing them for their vehicles used onsite, which might be one of the better uses for these lead sleds. Short drives with a lot of downtime to recharge and government paid for electricity. And beaucoup virtue signaling!

I stopped by to bring something up before I forget about it. I keep insisting that in the public’s perception, Donald Trump is being prosecuted for some kind of sex crime, and it’s easy to go from that to his being guilty, because it’s easy to believe that he had sex with Stormy Daniels.

Yes most people know that it isn’t illegal; to have sex, but most people also know that a virus they have to test for by shoving a stick way way back into the base of your skull, cannot be transmitted by breathing less than six feet away from someone too.

There’s a big gulf in many minds between what they know and what they are willing to believe.

Anyway, here is my evidence of the misperception of this alleged crime:

” it isn’t illegal; to have sex”

Well, it might be if done correctly….

        I’ll let that lie…

        • elysianfield April 1, 2023 at 12:25 pm #

          …Yeah…that’s part of it….

At some level, women think that all heterosexual men are getting away with something – criminals in other words. People like Beryl and Anthea say so openly.

Women are infinitely valuable. No man is worthy of them. Having intercourse is stealing or abuse – always!

This is the final result of chivalry or putting them on a pedestal. They already think well of themselves, have no doubt on that score. They have to be humbled to be balanced out, not lauded, much less worshipped.

“Having intercourse is stealing or abuse – always!”

Well, if the guy is a poor and clumsy lover, lazy, selfish, boring, homely looking etc. it could be that the only way he’s gonna get laid is by using force or paying for it. He’s such a poor candidate for affection he must steal or abuse a woman if he wants sex. Women take a look at him and think “yuk! I’ll pass on that guy!” Then the guy mopes off assuming that yet again women think too highly of themselves. If a man has the capability of being loads of fun in bed, he’ll have no trouble finding willing partners – they’ll be coming to him – he won’t have to work for it.

Yet payment will still be demanded, one way or another, sooner or later.

Even Steven if both had fun? Consenting adults, right? It really doesn’t work that way in the deeper parts of the feminine psyche.

Since we live in a big open air prison state it makes plenty of sense that any president should be presiding over us from a jail cell. Actually if you think about it long enough it makes a lot of sense even if it sounds out there at first.

I came across this great thing that really sums up our case in our pushback to the Trans agenda:

I wish I could afford a million billboards.

    • SoftStarLight April 1, 2023 at 1:58 pm #

      Wow, you’re a transphobe

      • Jarek April 1, 2023 at 2:07 pm #

Disagree. Forcing us to accept them is the very essence of the globalist agenda. Tolerance is one thing, but they’re asking for far more than that. And they will tolerate nothing less than full acceptance.

If a man dates only women, well ok, he’s a cis or “basic”. Maybe there’s nothing he can do about that. But let’s look more closely: Does he only date biological women? If so, he’s a bigot and we can and will do something to remedy that.

Is that what you want? For women too in regards to men and “men”? Because that’s where this leads.

        • SoftStarLight April 1, 2023 at 2:13 pm #

No lol, it’s just fun calling people transphobes 🙂

Are you sure? You seemed to be defending them the other day, saying how realistic or even attractive they can be.

I admit that there is a spectrum. Some men are more masculine, some less. Some women more feminine, some less – and that’s both physically and in terms of character for both. But the absolute line must be acknowledged and defended.

An analogy, not exact: You can’t be a little bit pregnant. On the other hand in terms of the process, you can be.

          • SoftStarLight April 2, 2023 at 4:29 pm #

I’m not sure of anything tbh lol, jk. Yes, there are distinctions that can’t be unacknowledged for sure. In this instance I was saying it in a joking way.

      Haha, nice one, Beryl.

We still don’t know exactly what Bragg intends to charge President Trump with, but it looks as if it may be the old “structured payments” ploy which the government uses against people whom it has already targeted for destruction.

There was a lot of talk about using this to prosecute Eliot Spitzer for using his own money to pay for sex with hookers.

I feel a rant coming on, a major rant, but I’m tamping it down for now.
I may compose it later, after I first compose myself.

I want to enjoy this fine warm Saturday while it lasts.

Food for thought: does anyone think about why it is we even know that Client Number 9 was the governor?

    • SoftStarLight April 1, 2023 at 1:57 pm #

You should rant away lol. What does Client number 9 mean?
