How’s the war going? Huh? Do you mean the war over in Ukraine? Or the US government’s war against its own people?
Well, the first one, the Ukraine War, is mostly destroying Europe — though, apparently, the denizens of Germany, Holland, et al., haven’t figured that out yet. Europe’s industrial economy is toast without affordable Russian natgas. We turned off their pipeline for that in September and nobody in Europe objected. They just sucked it up and went back to smoking cigarettes at their café tables. A year or so from now, nobody in Europe will have enough money for a cappuccino (or cigarettes) and maybe then they’ll start asking the mental mollusks who run things there some questions — if they don’t just leapfrog all that politesse and burn the joint down.
The main thing about the Ukraine War is that the US doesn’t want it to end. You understand, it is not about any airy-fairy principles such as freedom for Ukraine. It’s about antagonizing Russia no matter how many dead Ukrainians it takes, because US officials developed a delusional psychosis about Russia after years of using it to mind-fuck American citizens, and our folks-in-charge have to justify that antagonism by pretending we have vested interests in Ukraine, which we don’t, by the way.
So far, everything we’ve done to promote the conflict has backfired on Western Civ. Most of the rest of the world recognizes that the US has gone insane and they are taking careful steps to decouple from us — mainly to stop using our money for international trade. Really, would you want to have anything to do with a crazy person? No, you’d put as much distances as possible between you and this lunatic and stop even trying to communicate. If the world stops using the dollar in trade, the dollar will lose value, and so will the trillions in US bond paper held by other countries, which said countries will seek to unload as quickly as possible. Can you spell sovereign debt crisis? Look out below….
Americans, apparently, are not emotionally exercised over the Ukraine War because we don’t have any troops coming home from there in body-bags (not yet, at least). Many have probably noticed that we’ve blown over $100-billion on the project, and, along with the aforementioned debt crisis, that might just plant a seed of resentment as prices in the supermarkets and at the gas pumps shoot up ever more and the mass job layoffs surge, and the re-po man comes a’knocking, and more banks wobble.
Of course, our Ukraine War project (based on the mind-game Why-Don’t-You-and-Him-Fight?) could end pretty suddenly if, as rumored, Ukraine runs out of cannon fodder and artillery shells (despite all our assistance). And then what? You’re left with “Joe Biden” looking like history’s all-time champeen loser, and watch out in the Taiwan Strait, where the US Pacific Fleet could get transformed into the world’s biggest set of floating ashtrays….
You get the picture? Now how about that other war: our government’s war against us? What canny reporters (Taibbi, Schellenberger) are calling the Censorship Industrial Complex has been pretty well outed. Everybody knows that the FBI, CIA, DHS, and many other agencies, via hijacked social media, have worked tirelessly to confound and bamboozle the public debate about, really, everything that matters. The odd part is that roughly half of America doesn’t seem to care. Of course, that is the same half of the country that has fallen in love with surveillance, censorship, political prosecutions, election monkey business, mandated mRNA shots, and other excursions into bad faith. Their auditors in the mainstream news media actually seem to relish their roles as enforcers of unreality.
This degenerate wickedness has been escalating since one Donald Trump stepped onstage years ago. The “Joe Biden” regime affects to have trapped him finally in the lair of Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg. Now the game gets interesting. Since the charges are the sheerest vapor, the actual aim of this prosecution, as Tom Luongo and Martin Armstrong point out, is to goad Mr. Trump into a civil contempt citation that will allow the New York authorities to lock him up. The judge in the case will impose a gag order on Mr. Trump speaking out about the proceedings against him, and when he opens his yap — as he is certain to do — they’ll throw a net around him and drag him off to the hoosegow, and try to keep him there indefinitely, as they kept the Jan 6 suspects in the DC jail. That is, if the Bragg operation in New York City can extract the former president from the state of Florida, which may not be so easy, now that Governor DeSantis has indicated a disinclination to allow it.
As to the case itself, a judge with any self-respect would toss it in a pre-trial hearing like a six-day-dead carp at the slightest prompting by a defense attorney — based, as it is, on multiple specious novelties of criminal law, not to mention being well beyond the statute of limitations. If this stinker can actually get to trial, the prosecution will be a jurisprudential joke for the ages. If they get a Big Apple jury to go along with the joke, it will be short-listed through the appeals process clean up to the Supreme Court in a New York minute.
And if that whole thing falls apart like the janky jenga tower it is, there are two other matters against Mr. Trump in the wings — the bullshit case in Fulton County, Georgia, where the grand jury process was already compromised by a jury fore-person, self-identified as a “witch,” shooting her mouth off to the press; and the operation out of the DC Federal District run by one Special Counsel Jack Smith in the Mar-a-Lago classified papers matter — another loser case, considering all the other high officials currently entangled in similar complaints, as yet unmolested by any official charges.
Sound like a plan? Yes, it sounds like a plan to foment a civil war. Especially considering all the other crap our country is being subjected to by a bureaucracy-gone-wild, the regime fronting for it, and its legions of mentally ill useful idiots disturbing the peace all over the land. Probably more than half of America realizes that the legal system has been purloined by the same rogues who infiltrated social media and the state boards of election. They are getting good and goddam sick of it, along with all the mental twerkery around transgenderism, race hustling, climate change, and Ukraine. I’m sure it means we’re in for a thrilling spring and summer.
Attention: Some Notes for Readers about Website Issues.
Re: Google Blacklisted Me
Readers may have noticed my brief experiment with third-party advertisements on this blog. Although I was working with an independent ad management company, the ads ultimately originated from Google’s AdSense program.
It wasn’t long before Google shut down ads on my site and permanently blacklisted my domain from their program.
According to Google, Clusterfuck Nation violates their AdSense rules by publishing what they deem to be “Unreliable and harmful claims.”
The verboten content of my blog, in Google’s opinion, includes “claims that are demonstrably false and could significantly undermine participation or trust in an electoral or democratic process,” statements that promote “harmful health claims or relates to a current, major health crisis and contradicts authoritative scientific consensus,” and content that “contradicts authoritative scientific consensus on climate change.”
The good news is the DOJ is suing Google’s ass with an anti trust suit over its ad market monopoly and is calling for a corporate breakup. We’ll see if Google follows the Get-Woke-Go-Broke trend.
In the meantime, the cost of everything—including running this website—is going up. The number of tech support and tech feature requests has increased drastically over the last few months. I have to pay a small team to manage these requests.
Your support via Patreon is critical to help cover those costs. I don’t want to do it, but I might have to limit personalized tech support to patrons only.
I remain committed to keeping the content of this site free to anyone. However, without that extra ad revenue, I need to ask you to consider supporting the website by making a contribution via Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/JamesHowardKunstler

“…leapfrog all that politesse and burn the joint down.”
The immediate image in my mind was the frog placed in tepid water slowly brought to a boil.
Not GeorgeT— well, your mind works in strange ways because that is not what the sentence means — JHK Admin
Frogs are smart enough to jump out of that pot, unlike many humans, as we all just saw.
yes, they are, being sensitive to ‘temperature’s rising’ situations.
So the old saying is wrong?
Sad!
And “the mental mollusks who run things”, has the potential to not only go viral, but might even be adopted as the new slogan for the democratic (or both) political parties. Hey, it’s a party, wheeeeeee.
Damn clams.
Hey, I used to have a pet clam. Her name was Clamentine.
Did she blow Bubbles?
I’ll readily admit my mind works in strange ways!
Mine too. Frogs are kind of fun to think about in general.
Vive la difference!
“Yes, it sounds like a plan to foment a civil war.”
You nailed this one Jim, bravo! The Trump harassment was and is designed to promote a MAGA wave of violence because inciting violent backlash to the BLM and other Lefty Looney sub-movements clearly did not pan out. The frequency and scope of these mass casualty events by individual whackos is not providing the cover our Owners need to kick in our doors and disarm us all, which remains their ultimate goal.
If the continued persecution efforts DO have an empowering effect on DJT’s ability to get back into office, not only is rigging the election still a real and present danger, but the haters out there still suffering from Trump Derangement will never recover from their malady. Hating is what keeps their tiny hearts beating.
It appears to me that regardless of how this plays out, the Dark Agenda will continue to degrade our nation and our freedom as The Restrict Act promises to advance. The Bidens, Garlands, Mayorkas’, Austins, and Blinkins who dominate us all will continue to not only be above the law, but who will continue to wield it like a Scythe of Doom against any who stand against the demonic agenda that their Master has tasked them to achieve. Mere mortals cannot stand against such spiritual power.
I believe that I can speak for a lot of us here in saying that you are one of the outstanding leaders of the Truth Movement that we hold dear, and in the spirit of the late, great Mike Ruppert, (may he rest in peace) may you continue to grow in support and respect for what you do for us. Thank you, bless you.
Yes, it’s meant to stir things up and tear things down.
To me it seems more like a diversion. Rome had the Coliseum to keep the plebs distracted as the empire disintegrated. Today is no different, just more massive in its effect.
Consider all the recent bungled attempts at mind control:
Mass Extinction, Climate Change, Covid Pandemic, Ukraine, Election Rigging, Federal Ministry of Truth, Currency Debasement (Inflation). The list seems almost endless.
I try not to get too distracted, but it is fun to watch as long as the popcorn doesn’t run out.
At least there is Mr. Kunstler to set the record as straight as possible.
And create nonstop distraction from the bigger agenda to pass the TikTok bill which gives massive censorship powers to the government under the guise of “protecting the children”. And the equally important destruction of the right to bear arms. I’ve said many times I don’t own a gun and I don’t want to but the overwhelming majority of gun owners are not mass murders.
But from the look of things, the Ukrainian war, Nordstream pipeline and the ICC’s labeling Putin a war criminal have pushed other countries (even small African ones) into openly defying the US. Biden and the neocons have really done a job on us.
It is actually amazing watching as the world discovers that the man behind the curtain is not only batshit crazy, but unable to kill them all, at least with conventional weapons.
Even Syria was emboldened to make an attack on one of the (illegal) US military bases encamped in their country. Yes, the US responded by killing a bunch of Syrian citizens, because Syria isn’t China or Iran, but the fact that they did it is a first. All these years they have put up with the US occupying 30% of their land and stealing their oil and wheat because they were afraid to fight back.
The war in Ukraine is going well for the US, in that Russians and Ukrainians are dying, while America sits over here unscathed.
But now they think they can push the Taiwanese and Australians into a war with China?
That’ll be a more difficult war to start, imo. No one wants to be Ukraine.
So the rest of the world is slowly backing away from the crazy country, signing peace deals with each other, using their own currencies for trade with each other, and refusing to kowtow to Blinken or Harris.
The latest puerile stunt was Blinken threatening India with destroying the G20 summit unless the participants used it to issue another denunciation of Russia’s intervention in the Ukrainian civil war.
India said ‘no’. Blinken threw a tantrum. Sooner or later he will threaten to take his ball and go home, I predict. They are the most juvenile set of mental mollusks I have ever seen in charge of the bureaucracy.
Dopey Joe is not batshit crazy, he’s brain-dead. And Blinken can’t take his ball and go home because he doesn’t have any balls, or brains.
It appears that America has become a cesspool, because the scum has risen to the top.
Agree, Walter, but I don’t really think of Biden as the man behind the curtain.
But whose idea was it to send Kamala Harris on an African tour?
Did they really think that Africans would look at her as one of theirs?
The man behind the curtain is stupid as well as crazy.
Unfortunately, Walter, things aren’t bad enough yet. The majority of Americans won’t do anything until they have reason to do so. Meaning, their porn will be gone. Their drugs will be gone. Their food will be gone. Their televisions will be gone. Their smart phones will no longer function. Their big trucks and fifth wheels repossessed. Only when enough Americans have lost everything and no longer have anything left to lose will they finally march upon these Government centers of filth, remove the scum that occupy them and hang them on the lampposts. Until that time, we will continue to be trodden upon just like the floor mat of a taxi cab and we won’t let out so much as a tiny fart about it. Everyone knows in their gut that the lives we are living are a sham and can disintegrate in a matter of days. We all sense it, deep down, where the sun don’t shine. The problem is this way of living is all most of us know as it is all we have ever been taught, our parents too. We know nothing else. That is why it will take us losing literally EVERYTHING to finally bring about a willingness to change. As long as there is something Americans will cling to it in hopes that the inevitable won’t happen.
Excellent article, JHK.
I often wonder if these aren’t the last days prophesied by the ancient prophets ushering in the glorious second coming of an one Jesus Christ. The affliction is world wide. No man is going to fix this mess.
Yes brother, yes indeed.
I’m with ‘things aren’t bad enough yet’.
How rapidly ‘things’ devolve, though open to debate, might show themselves to be fast movers once in motion. Such time appears to be at hand.
What I have looked at and offered is the situation in Missouri and Kansas during the 1850s through 1860s could be the template for the near future in what I’ll nominally term the US.
In what way, Not George?
Those were real groups of people in conflict. We aren’t really groups any more in that sense. We aren’t capable of group life only private outrage. No who is a real group, though not a viable one? The Trannies.
The antifa can put thousands of people on the street at short notice. Can we? Those who could and did defend us against them have been destroyed – self righteously and gleefully by “conservatives”.
Antifa is not self organized. They are the shock troops for the Establishment and it is the Establishment who put them on the streets when needed.
You got to give them their props for their ability to get people out in mass groups.
I watched in amazement as my town was organized to participate in the Women’s March on Trump’s Inauguration Day.
There were definitely locals involved, but who set them in motion? How did they know who to contact? Were they paid? Who paid the fee for renting the Town Square and who got the permit for the march?
It happened all over the country the same day. So the Establishment knows how to do it.
Same as the Parkland thing. We were told that grieving teenagers managed to organize nation-wide anti-gun demos only a month after the shooting. And that included getting a permit for Washington, DC, a stage, a sound system, speakers, bands. And the same thing in hundreds of cities and towns across the country.
Teenagers did all that in a month? I call bullshit.
Almost as if they had it ready to go, wasn’t it Paula?
Also the fact that frightened kids called the hotline and those who got the call sat on it.
The genius kid who organized the movement wasn’t smart enough to get something done about the kid at his school who was making death threats, was he?
Why didn’t he tell his parents?
Isn’t there some kind of coefficient sort of like a misery index that predicts when mass revolt is finally triggered?
In the 1850s thru 1860s there was a lot of activity in an environment without rule of law. They had competing government bodies claiming to be the legitimate state government.
Jayhawkers and Bushwackers, among other geurilla warfare organizations operating under their own rules in a rather violent manner.
At times very totalitarian.
Unlike the Constitutional Crisis of the 1860s which was a secession from the union of states settled by force of arms featuring an invading army from the northern states, the action in Kansas and Missouri started earlier and continued longer.
The Missouri compromise essentially undone by the Kansas/Nebraska Act led to a lot of the geurilla-type warfare. It was much closer to a true civil war where competing factions were trying to control the same territory through armed conflict.
Martial law was declared at one point by Gen. Fremont, which for obvious reasons didn’t go over well with the population.
Military, political and religious factions were involved, very tumultuous.
A scorecard would be helpful when keeping track of the competing cast of characters.
Border states during the time period could be made very volatile due to competeing factions. This area arguably being the scene of violent actions in the extreme.
@ Beth
The misery index is measured in meals – 9 missed meals (in the US) – is when revolt is triggered.
Thanks for the history lesson, Not George.
I don’t know what US history everyone else was taught, but my school kind of skipped the entire 19th century, except for the 1812 and Civil Wars.
I had no idea what went on back then. And it appears that the kids nowadays are taught CRT nonsense instead of the blank slate I got.
@ Not_GeorgeT:
Yes, the Civil War as it played out in Missouri and Kansas is about how I would expect the US to look, if everything breaks down. Probably worse, though.
From what little I’ve read about the Civil War era in Missouri and Kansas, it sounds to me like there were a lot of “irregulars” with no real political affiliation roaming the countryside, taking advantage of the general disorder to rob and kill people.
I actually have a book on this era, titled Black Flag, that I never got around to reading, as it’s been kind of a busy year.
As I said, I would look for roughly the same thing if/when the US collapses. This time, the violence in the cities, and densely populated areas in general, would be horrendous.
It’s interesting to consider the differences between the modern era and the Civil War era, though. I think that the most important difference is that everyone–good guys and bad guys alike–will still be dependent on cars, trucks, and decent roads for transportation.
Back in the 1800s, it was possible to go just about anywhere on horseback. Now we are more limited; we can only go where a car can go on a decent road.
Long story short, I don’t think the urban hordes will make it much beyond the suburbs–which will keep them happily distracted with looting until it’s far too late to escape the cities and suburbs. The roads will be impassible, due to wrecked and stalled cars, and there will be no gasoline.
Those of us in the country will have our own home-grown criminals to contend with, but they’ll face similar limitations on marauding. No car and no gas means you can’t maraud very far.
Back during the Civil War, things would have played out differently if all the irregulars (read “criminal gangs”) had been on foot.
Another thing about rural areas is that, once you get to where you’re on gravel roads, the prospects are quite chilling for a would-be thief. There you are, walking down a gravel road at night in a sparsely populated–but heavily armed–district. You’d take to the woods, if it weren’t for the snakes and bobcats, and deadfall to trip over. You don’t have anything to drink but the bottle of Mountain Dew you stole back in suburbia, and you don’t want to drink the water from ponds or streams, because that’s how your buddy died of dysentery.
Well, exactly, Anthea. And think about it, why would city dwellers head for the country in the first place?
There are far more people to rob in the city. Plus, that’s where the food is. Most Americans think that food comes from the grocery store, and they are mostly right. And that food comes from concentrated sources far away, sometimes from other countries. It is stored in big facilities that keep it constantly ready to be transported to sell, frozen or dried or extruded and wrapped in plastic.
There is no food to be had in the countryside now, and won’t be until harvest season, a long ways away. The farmers around here mostly grow field corn and soybeans anyway. That wouldn’t look like food to most Americans.
Plus, they don’t walk. They think that walking is an infringement on their God-given rights. It would never occur to them to walk to get someplace. They will sit and wait for an Uber until their skeletons are covered with cobwebs before it would occur to them to walk.
@ Paula D:
Oh, there’s a lot of food to be had in the country at any time of year. There are cattle, goats, sheep, and chickens.
Many rural people have well-stocked pantries full of home-canned goods (as well as store-bought), and freezers full of meat.
It’s also been my observation that some of the poorest people have some of the most impressive stockpiles of food. Much of it is stuff they got at the food pantry that they stashed away, but part of it is the food insecurity that comes from being poor.
It’s also been my observation that most city people are literally afraid of the natural world. They’re afraid of bugs and snakes. Once when a little boy was visiting me (with his mom), he was restless and I suggested that he climb the white pine tree in the front yard. He asked, “Is is a poison tree?”
Canker,
I think you posted something like this last week, too, but it bears repeating. So thanks. I agree. This will not become real to mainstream people until it starts affecting them personally. And they are still lying to themselves about “died suddenly.” So even if they’ve lost someone, they are not blaming the political system for it.
This ties in with what Beryl of Oyl was talking about that people justify things that don’t affect them, like drug tests for those that don’t do drugs. The big example for me is left leaning people not really being bothered by censorship. Its not that they like censorship per se. It’s that censorship of conservative leaning people, hey that doesn’t really bother them so much. Those right wing cranks really are annoying!
But back to your point, empty shelves will wake people up. So will interruptions in trash pick-up. Widespread brownouts, intermittent cell service, $10 gas (when you can get it). Medicines being unavailable like insulin and heart When you have to wait a day or more to get a response from 911, people will panic.
This is the level of disruption needed to to wake folks up.
Your outlook is much more positive than mine. I’ll take yours over mine any day.
Lol, Canker,
I may just be speaking of earlier in the cycle. Once people panic, all bets are off. The civil disruption will be off the charts and will echo earlier examples in history. The strong will survive in the cities; they’ll take what they need. The prepared and organized will survive in the country. The long haul is where it gets interesting.
So it is actually good news that things aren’t bad enough yet to wake people up. That gives those of us who are truly horrified at where things are headed more time to prepare.
“Once people panic, all bets are off. The civil disruption will be off the charts and will echo earlier examples in history. The strong will survive in the cities; they’ll take what they need. The prepared and organized will survive in the country. The long haul is where it gets interesting.” ~ mrs_saj
Right on Mrs. – especially your last sentence – the long haul is where it gets interesting.
The World Made by Hand, written by our esteemed host & One Second After, by Forstchen, offer two glimpses into a post-apocalyptic US.
Both offer a look at how society will reorder itself after a societal collapse from whatever the cause.
There are lot of similarities, although the means & methods differ a little. Obviously, there are essential components that a civilized society requires – reestablishing Rule of Law, being first & foremost.
Now that will be where it gets really interesting – the “longer that haul” – the more interesting.
I agree with things have to get worse, but…. In a conversation with my sister, “who isn’t a democrat or a republican, but votes for the best man/woman”, I commented that our whole government are crooks, and she shot back, “Would you rather live in Russia”? Well, I replied, “How many Russian people do you know? And perhaps their life isn’t that bad”. I also encouraged her on stocking up with food and her reply was, “Oh we go to the local food shelter bi-monthly. We get venison, which we don’t like so we throw it away”. She offered to give the venison to me the next time they go, but I was speechless. Both her and husband are over 70, but…. My husband and I work cutting our own wood, planting and weeding our garden and canning food for ourselves and possibly to help our families, but how much help do you give to those of your family that don’t help themselves??
Itzy,
Good to hear from you! Take the venison and thank your sister, if for no other reason than to learn how you like it prepared. If you decide to can it, it will also add to your stores. I am in the process of replacing our antique fishing poles and tackle from our childhood as well as stockpiling new fishing line. Doing our own fishing is going to become a larger part of our diet eventually.
I think you already know it’s a lost cause to convince people to prep who see no need to prep, family or not.
Itzybytz – In a conversation with my sister, “who isn’t a democrat or a republican, but votes for the best man/woman”
Just guessing about your sister, but most people who make this claim ^^^ vote democrat, ohhh, about 100% of the time.
Most conservatives I know tend to specifically try to avoid any such conversation with folks they already know they will disagree with.
Best of luck there! And hey – Volgograd is probably surprisingly delightful this time of year. We wouldn’t know with our media, but hey why not, right?>
“So even if they’ve lost someone, they are not blaming the political system for it.”
Neither are they recognizing the roles of the media or sickness industries.
messianic,
I should have mentioned that too. Thanks.
@ mrs_saj:
I am expecting something more along the lines of Weimar level inflation ending in a worthless currency. Also bank holidays and bank failures. And–of course–all the other things you mentioned.
Most people won’t realize we’re in deep shit until they wake up one morning and their bank is closed and their ATM doesn’t function. They will learn this when they try to buy gas on their way to work or the grocery store, and their credit cards and debit cards don’t work.
The news media will tell them that it’s a comuter glitch or a cyber-attack, and all will be back to normal next week. When it’s not back to normal after a month, people may start to get the picture.
Anthea – a commuter glitch or a computer glitch? Don’t leave us hanging.
@ Ron Anselmo:
Um…. I meant a computer glitch.
It also just occurred to me that any nation that is crippled in so many ways is ripe for outside invasion. Collapse might somewhat deter invasion from the south–depending on what kind of shape their own countries are in. Plus the funding for this invasion will doubtless dry up.
But I wouldn’t be too much surprised if China invaded and took over some portions of the US, probably portions of the West Coast. They would want agricultural land and seaports. As for the cities, I suppose they’d just wait for everyone to die. Fleeing the West Coast, in a collapse scenario, would be extraordinarily difficult.
I doubt if anyone wants the East Coast, and the central parts of the US could be problematic.
Anthea – you are correct on potential outside invasion; predators are always opportunistic.
A while back, I suggested that West Coaster’s might want to brush up on their Mandarin – it wasn’t received too well.
You are also right about fleeing the West Coast – they’d get about as far east as Donner Pass.
In the South, we’ll be OK – in Florida, just yesterday, our beloved Governor DeSantis signed into law, constitutional carry with no governmental permits required.
Watch our crime rates drop (further). Wait for it. Now if we can only stop all the left-leaning Blue State refugees, we’ll be all set.
Athena & Paula D:
When the Pioneers followed their ox carts across the stinking plains they did so with one vision in the sky before them. The Oregon Territory. Paradise. I know. I grew up there. By the time I was 13 my Mom forbade me to bring any more trout home because the freezer was overflowing with them and nobody would eat them. So I started building an Oregon Myrtle custom stock for the 30/06 barreled action I’d won in a game of marbles. From then on we only ate venison and black bear and sold the beef from the pasture for spare change. As I enter my Golden Years I often dream of moving back to Paradise but I can’t. It is no longer there, having been Californicated beyond recognition.
I have a Dream.
All of the remaining (non corporate) Ranchers and Stump Farmers in the Territories load their cow ponies into their stock trailers and begin to muster just north of Bellingham. When their numbers start to exhaust the bounty of the land they begin to move their encampments south toward Seattle, driving the purple haired, metal festooned Woke herds before them. By the time they reach Portland they are a mighty Horde, irresistible in its force. Scouting parties fan out from the armies of the Territory, gathering potatoes and crickets to feed the Woke encampments being driven before them. Once they are in the heartland of the Oregon Territory they do not halt their march, but fan out to clean out the infestations in Eugene and Bend.
At the Oregon border the Freedom Army calls a halt. Waiting to receive the cricket eaters are the Lords of the State of Sinola, who welcome a fresh crop of slave labor to cultivate the Marijuana plantations they had taken over after their defeat of the California National Guard.
Oddly, that sounds plausible.
Only when enough Americans have lost everything and no longer have anything left to lose will they finally march upon these Government centers of filth. By then it may be too late, as the populace may well be dis-armed.
Speaking of porn, Disney has been headed in that direction longer than people thing.
This is from 2003, and it deals with explicit entertainment rather than hard core porn, but Disney also had money in actual porn long before that.

“Think” not thing.
The people Walt warned us against ended up taking over the company. His brother and sons were weak men and sold out the company and America as well.
Some of his family are still on the board and don’t like it, but they are a minority – like Whites will soon be. Happy now?
Remember, social capital is a very real thing. Solidarity. Mystic chords of memory – all snipped now by the mohel of diversity. Americans? You mean like a coherent group? There is no such thing. And the people who bemoan this are the often same ones who think any one should be able to go anywhere and do anything.
After what happened to Jesus’ brethren during WW2 you think a bunch of confused emasculated men and morbidly obese, purple haired gals going to motivate Him to intervene? Uhm, no. It’s up to humans.
For now anyway as the AI train of fiction is not only up and running it has, beep beep, left the station.
Jesus brethren? The ones who crucified him? Or the ones who worship him? Do you even know the difference?
@Cankerpuss I share your sentiments. I admire the concise manner in which you have put them together.
But once people “lose everything”, decorating the streetlights with “lesser officials”, or even the truly guilty at the top, is not going to do much. The US of A is an overly (needlessly, other than the relentless pursuit of more money) complex society, as such it is very fragile. So, assume people vent their frustrations. Then what? Are they going to work together to survive, or will they turn on each other? How will that keep the supermarkets fairly stocked, money fairly useful, and the water and power on? Maybe “essential providers” will just volunteer their time to keep things running…..
THIS world is in a downward spiral, despite the impressive accomplishments of technology. CFN is an impressive accomplishment, bringing us together. Unfortunately, we the “awake” are what, 0.0x% of the population? Technology is being used every day to deceive people, and there are a lot more of THEM than us, to alter our food, to come up with more efficient means of physical destruction, as well as “financial” destruction, and get people hooked on drugs, legal (big pharma) and illegal (fentanyl and street drugs, etc).
The PTB are even perverting technology in automobiles, sowing the seeds of a coming car repair tsunami in a car-dependent poorer society with dubious “innovations” like stop-start, direct fuel injection, turbochargers, and continuously variable transmissions–all markedly less robust and reliable for very marginal “gains” in fuel economy.
As JHK (and others) say, “nothing grows forever.”
Americans are not going to keep the USS Titanic from going down, and taking many of us with it, just like mankind will not prevent the world from degenerating. It’s too complicated at this point, people are innately greedy and evil (especially the most “successful” ones). Only God can save the world from destroying itself.
I’m not saying the world will implode tomorrow, or next month. But it could implode in few days or years, or decades, so yes, I agree, we have been living in the early stages of the end times. And as time goes by, many Biblical passages that seem cryptic today will make sense, en route to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
But today, even though some of us are uneasy, as we sense things are moving in the wrong direction, with the perversion of US law, the COVID lockdowns and vax, the Ukraine War, the US sanctions, the inflation and financial gimmickry, for most people in the US, today, things are running “well enough”. We’re busy, and life goes on. We’re not gonna take to the streets just yet. But it will become an increasingly bumpy ride down, for increasingly more people, in THIS world. It’s depressing, but if you believe in the next world, it’s easier.
Soc-Det,
Very well written. I agree with you and I certainly don’t have a timeline. I was thinking more long term, but the regional bank mess has me recalibrating.
I hate to quibble about unknowable numbers, but do you really think 0.0x% of the population is directionally correct? If you had asked me to name a number, I might have said 5-10% of the population is not just awake and unvaccinated but also marginally prepared for something really bad to happen.
Am I being overly optimistic with my number? If this were happening in the 80s, I would have come up with an even higher percentage, but my grandparents’ way of life is far more rare now than it was then. They had 60 acres, house, barn, and land paid for, raised cattle in their retirement, had the outbuildings for a hatchery, he hunted, she canned and cooked, they paid to put in a pond for fish, etc, etc. Those were bucolic summers that I spent there as a child.
Yes!
Walter- I agree the plan is to incite a violent backlash, the excuse to enact gun confiscation as a pretext to restore order. No matter how bad it gets, there must be no violent response. Better to wait for the collapse and pray that the power flows back to the states and we reorganize under a new Articles of Confederation.
Agreed. I will not join or advocate for any militia type or any kind of armed resistance to what they may inflict upon us and will not even consider hooking up with any group that claims or tries to fight back against tyranny in the streets.
However, if these dildoes decide to go door to door to disarm or otherwise subjugate us, I do not even need to own any firearms to inflict casualties upon them because I can seek forgiveness from my Creator for defending my home from criminal government thugs that will do anything for a paycheck and a paycheck. “I was only following orders”, was more than enough evidence for the US(A) to hang the bastards that tried to use this excuse to avoid the neck stretching that they eventually deserved and were given. By thy own judgments shall ye be judged1
As to “government thugs,” another factor is that our government is going to have a hard time paying them.
Thing is, in collapsing countries, or in countries in the midst of civil war or revolution, other countries step in. Who will pay the “government thugs”? Well…. That will be limited to other countries that actually CAN pay them and also have an interest in doing so. The only such country that I can think of is China. (Russia has plenty of their own stuff.) China has a huge population and a scarcity of farmland and natural resources. Plus the US is a big nuisance to them, and they might very well decided to offload some of their excess population just to humiliate us. Honestly, I think a Chinese invasion/takeover of much of the West Coast would be a cakewalk–and merely a matter of whether the Chinese wanted to go to the bother and lacked better prospects elsewhere.
I know this sounds a little farfetched, but during WWII a lot of people were concerned about a Japanese invasion of California. In fact some family members have hinted that that was why my grandfather returned to the Midwest during the war.
I agree too. I think the best strategy is to be prepared to defend your home and (small) region, as things begin to collapse.
I wonder why the word “treason” keeps flowing into my mind?
Visions of the death penalty dance in my head.
@Walter B, I heartily concur. I need a better thesaurus to come up with sufficient superlatives for both our host’s ability to wield the language, and his insight and discernment. I’ll just echo what you said: Thank you, Jim, and God bless.
The plural of Mayorkas is Mayorkases.
Jim nailed it, particularly in regard to the rest of the world decoupling from a nation that has clearly gone insane.
Europe, being the sycophantic parrots that they are to the US, are going down in equally spectacular fashion.
It must be difficult for Putin and Xi to not laugh hysterically on camera.
He did.
Yeah, he laughed at a reporter who repeated the US mantra that they were putting missiles in Romania and Poland to “protect Europe from Iran”.
Remember that one? Yep, the media chanted it as if it made sense.
But Putin just laughed.

Great clip, thank you Paula.
One more answer to the question, “why did Russia do that?”
Yes Jack, it does not appear to be long before absolutely all of the nations of the world not only understand that America is the enemy of the world, but actually flush the toilet in which our ship of state now floats.
The part that bothers me the most is that I believe that our own “leadership” is actively engaged in making us look and act even worse because they have taken payments to do exactly that from our enemies.
HTF, that’s WTF with a how instead, are we sitting on our hands watching the Biden and Clinton Crime Families do what they do with impunity and even acceptance? I guess it is not just the elites that have been bought off.
A funny thing is, t was the most Leftist people I knew who were on that train a long time ago.
“HTF, that’s WTF with a how instead, are we sitting on our hands watching the Biden and Clinton Crime Families do what they do with impunity and even acceptance? I guess it is not just the elites that have been bought off.” ~ Walter B. 4/3/10:18am
Walter – to answer your question, this is HTF.
“Agreed. I will not join or advocate for any militia type or any kind of armed resistance to what they may inflict upon us and will not even consider hooking up with any group that claims or tries to fight back against tyranny in the streets.” ~ Walter B. 4/3/11:36pm
Can’t have both my friend, we either stand our ground or we lay down. For some, the saying goes, “I’ll die on my feet before I’ll live on my knees.”
I see your faith and I applaud that, but our Creator has imbued man (and woman and all creatures) with the survival instinct. We push it down at our own peril.
The problem with open resistance Ron is that the Gestapo has cameras and microphones in all of our homes and in our pockets in our Not So Smart Phones. They are monitoring everything we do and say and are paranoid as hell and desperate to have even the smallest excuse to jack us out of our cars or our beds and incarcerate us for sport.
If King George III had these kinds of technologies, we’d all still be British citizens (serfs). Resistance clearly IS futile.
Think asymmetric. Think Viet Cong & Mujahideen. Incredible will to fight. Never defeated in their own lands.
Don’t count on either Mr Putin or Mr Xi to laugh hysterically at what has happened, is happening in and to the USA. They know far too well what a deranged group (cabal) of unelected leaders are capable of, what a demented and deranged, corrupt and sleazy old Pol is capable of allowing them to do.
It is a measure of their (our manufactured *enemies’*) rectitude that they maintain an aura of understatement in an environment of obsessed hatred being directed their way by these insane State Department and White House advisors who hold our once-respected nation hostage to their vendettas and ideology.
I trust Mr Xi and Mr Putin will keep self-discipline as a first priority.
Like handling a live grenade. I imagine they take the US’s recklessness very seriously.
Not just Xi and Putin, but the Chinese and Russian ruling classes DO take the US seriously.
That said, I wouldn’t count on China or Russia to save Americans from the US Government.
Unfortunately, even allowing for the cheating, half of American voters chose Biden.
Most American voters “dislike Russia” or “dislike China”, so they are willing to compromise whatever common sense they may have and give up their rights, their taxes, and their after-tax money (via inflation) to support the military industrial complex, to be “strong against aggression”, a grifting gig that benefits the elite.
So, while today, life in the USA is still pretty good, for most of us, most of the time, we are being led by people every bit as insane as the Austrian with the mustache, who led his (adopted) country down the road to ruin.
And I don’t see enough of the public waking up. We cannot get our house in order with 10 or 20 “dissident” Republicans in Congress.
The game is pretty fixed, and if you don’t demonstrate fealty to the right interests, you don’t get a chance to play.
Just look at DeSantis. He’s going to go to Israel, to position himself as more pro-Israel than Donald Trump, arguably the most “pro-Israel” President ever. Why is that so important?
I’m not anti-Israel, or pro-Israel. I’m pro-USA. What are AMERICA’s best interests? Regarding Israel or any issue?
The majority of national elected officials don’t care. Their primary interest is getting elected, they do this by serving those who support and bankroll them. Wall Street. Big Pharma, Defense contractors. The Israel Lobby. Big Tech. And probably even China itself!
S-D – there is only one way our house will get in order – and it isn’t political – it’s kinetic. Better to burn it down and start anew.
I wouldn’t expect Xi or Putin to look with particular pity as they tour the disastrous remains of the Empire that had treated their counties with scorn for so many decades. On the other hand Putin’s initial efforts to not slaughter all his fellow Slavs in Ukraine does offer some hope.
When you encounter a fox foaming at the mouth with rabies you have no choice but to dispatch it. A rabid fox is still a fox— more than you can say about a rabid President of the O’Biden variety who will not hesitate to sink its fangs into your neck.
Yes, that was a good line. The decoupling. The US’ reputation is in the toilet an for good reason. I’m guessing it has been for a long time.
Another word you could use to describe this is rupture. Especially in the case where the US connection to Europe (SWIFT, trade, Business, etc) is broken suddenly and violently.
Given that Europe is West & East Europe and given that 90% of East Europe is RUSSIA…. then it appears the US rupture from Europe is already about 50% done.
Jack – the only thing keeping Putin and Xi from laughing, is knowing that if they start, they may not be able to stop.
Excellent summation. Very readable.
I love coming here and finding out even more that I have already learned about current events.
Given this endemic, interlocking system of corruption and lies, I can’t for the life of me see a way that we can sort this political crapstorm out. Furthermore, we have actual problems ahead – say, all the issues outlined in The Long Emergency – and there is exactly zero leadership or even a reserve of national fortitude to face those.
I fear that we’ve fallen into a trap, where what were mere problems have metastasized into predicaments. In the words of John Michael Greer, problems may have solutions but predicaments only have outcomes. Get ready for outcomes.
Looks to me like the outcome will be a hot war against Russia and/or China. The DC boys are rapidly painting themselves into a corner with all their nonsense. Unfortunately for US citizens, that might be the only way out of the current trap. So be it.
This insanity of U.S. foreign policy likely has only one outcome if allowed to continue on its present course, and it indeed points to self-extinction at the hands of the crazies.
The West does not have the ability to militarily confront the nations it has chosen to poke and threaten for so long now. Not successfully—by conventional warfare. They are too far ahead, too many in number, and their weaponry and armies were built for effectiveness in battlefields—not for Wall Street profits.
If there is a hot war against China, it will happen because there were previous agreements to allow China to conquer the US. In fact, in the event of a Chinese attack, the US military would be on the Chinese side, and local militias would be mainly occupied with fighting our own government.
Honestly, I think that may be the plan. We know China owns Biden and the rest of our politicians.
“Previous agreements” as in treasonous ones.
These are very perilous, difficult times, and we have clowns in control, but the outcome will be nothing to laugh at.
And the people themselves are clowns who care not one whit about what their Government is doing to them.
I think a lot of people care about what’s happening to them but don’t have a voice. Any demonstrations have been effectively stopped b/c of the vicious overreaction to January 6th and the toll it’s taken on individual lives. It’s easy to see only antifa and BLM rioters were protected and not prosecuted but Buffalo Guy was thrown in prison.
Your right. See my post below.
Canker,
For some it is that they don’t care; the it’s-not-affecting-me thing.
But for far too many people that I talk to, they simply do not agree with anything the “based” are saying. Biden is not a crook. Hunter’s laptop is a bunch of noise. There is no Biden family incentive to push war in Ukraine, never mind Romey, Kerry, Pelosi, et al. The DOJ has not been weaponized to punish political opponents. Social media is not being used as an arm of the government to push any narrative or selectively silence dissent. Everything is actually racist. Jan 6 really was an insurrection and they have no awareness of what the lately released video even shows or that the footage that made it onto CNN was selectively chosen.
For this second group, there is just no agreement or acknowledgment of what the situation on the ground really is. There is no agreement on facts.
You are right, mrs saj. We live in different worlds, with different facts, and different realities.
And we know what they think, because it is pushed onto us also, 24/7.
But they have no idea what we think, because they self-censor. Try to give them a link and they react with horror, as if you handed them a dead rat.
What? Tucker Carlson! No way I’d listen to him.
My liberal daughter got into my husband’s car and asked us what “Let’s go Brandon” meant. (I had put it on his side back window with tempra paint). I couldn’t believe she had never heard that. She said that she had a vague memory of hearing it, but had no idea what it meant.
Two different worlds.
PaulaD,
They do self censor. I called it a self-reinforcing feedback loop this morning somewhere on this thread. I was referring to people’s relationship with their TV, but it could be internet usage, who they associate with, etc.
The funny part of ruling out watching Tucker Carlson’s coverage of Jan 6 is we are talking about video footage. And it’s footage that nobody else cared to get their hands on or could get their hands on. Who cares whose airing it? Watch and be informed! Some of it from Capital Building cameras. But noooo, they can’t watch that. It is self-induced ignorance, because losing your ignorance is to become uncomfortable.
I watch CNN occasionally to see what people are being told. I religiously look at Yahoo, especially the comments, to see how people respond to the comments . But most woke people are not actively soliciting other view points or other sources of information.
“Let’s go Brandon”… I couldn’t believe she had never heard that. – Paula D
============
That’s nothing. Yesterday I mentioned “the Deep State” to my wife and she had no idea…etc. Rather than attempt a definition myself I Googled up an answer which of course didn’t do the subject justice.
BTW my wife said in regard to the Trump indictment she won’t be happy until she sees him in an orange jump suit with handcuffs on. All her chums think the same way.
Reversion to the mean. Although there is a strong genetic component to intelligence, chances are the children of really bright people will be bright too – but not as bright as their parents.
Ditto with being radical, though not for genetic reasons per se (again, except insofar as it equates with intelligence): most of of the children of radicals will not be as radical as their parents. So unless “the radical” has become the status quo, these parents are destined for disappointment.
Paula’s new Americanism is a very bad fit with the Communism of her youth and middle age. As Yuri said, they were going to subvert us and so they did. Now Paula is surprised? So got what her younger self wanted! The gods are cruel indeed to fulfill such foolish desires.
Yeah, their criticism of Tucker’s Jan. 6th footage is “it is cherry picked”!
Cherry picked! Unlike the one they made, shown over and over again in every venue?
They have no self awareness and no shame.
mrs_saj, About a year into Trump’s presidency, I more or less compelled a close relative to look at some facts. She worships Rachel Maddow, and believes (and repeats verbatim) everything she says.
The final straw for me, after listening to her Trump Derangement for more than a year, was her statement that Stephen Moore, Trump’s nominee for the board of the Federal Reserve, was a “weird moron.” I pressed her for why she thought this, though I knew she was just repeating Rachel Maddow. She just repeated that he was a “weird moron.” I asked her to tell me any single fact about him; she had nothing.
Of course, she became enraged at me and wouldn’t speak for a year, except to leave incoherent message of rage on my voice mail. The point being that no amount of actual information alters the “thinking” of these people after they’ve received a sufficiently complete indoctrination.
I was told the other day that “you can’t tell anyone anything, you have to show them”.
After decades of effort I am to the point that I can no longer deny it. Hearts must be opened – above my paygrade.
“Reversion to the mean. Although there is a strong genetic component to intelligence, chances are the children of really bright people will be bright too – but not as bright as their parents.”
Jarek,
Say what? If progeny are not as bright as their parents, then they are not merely reverting to the mean…why would they not continue to lose facility clean down through the mean to the relative ignorance of a registered Democrat? Or a Mitt Romney supporter….
Rowdy: So where is it now? Did she ever admit that she had nothing? Or even better, realize that she’s a moron?
No, right? You’re talking but not about that. Time doesn’t heal all wounds so much as simply cover them over – like a body covered over by leaves in the woods.
I imagine they would start to care, if only they knew.
Jarek: No, she has never made any admission, even so much as to admit that she didn’t possess a single fact. The more facts I produced, the angrier and more determined she became. There’s a mulish way that these people just dig in and plant themselves, and they cannot be reasoned with. I’ll add that this person is well educated and well read. Before her indoctrination, she was quite able to make a reasoned argument and engage in a debate without anger. That is all gone now. Ideological possession has all the characteristics of demonic possession.
Exactly. Kinda like when you put a drunk clown behind the wheel of a car.
We are being led by complete drunken clowns.
” I can’t for the life of me see a way that we can sort this political crapstorm out”
Dr. C, there is no way to sort this out. Divine intervention is needed and I’m talking serious divine intervention. Or, a collapse of all it. It is so rotted and so decayed from the highest levels of the Federal Government down to the local school boards. The secret combinations are everywhere and have infiltrated everything like an aggressive cancer on steroids. If anyone tries to clean out the cancer they are destroyed. The system must be allowed to destroy itself and then, hopefully, what rises out of the ashes will be a return to a more limited and sane form of Government.
Humans, however are too stupid to remember their past. Too lazy. Even if something better returns from the ashes, people and their lust for power and their greed will destroy that yet again. Humanity is doomed because it just doesn’t learn its lessons.
I doubt I’ll be around to see it. Once the system collapses and the gangs of cannibals start roaming around looking a meal I’ll use my last bullet the most effective way I possibly can. There are far worse things than death in this world.
“Humans, however are too stupid to remember their past.”
This is a U.S. and perhaps a Canadian phenomenon. Between Russia (then USSR) and China, they have a collective memory of 27 million and perhaps 60 million respectively dead in WW II. The Chinese a million more in Korea in the early 1950s. Their economies and heavy industries shattered. Let alone the internal struggles from the 1920s forward with their own dark toll.
Germany ought to remember that too, but has been under U.S. (CIA-NATO) “patronage” (occupation) since 1945 so… go figure.
That is the difference and the distinction.
Good point. Should I have said “Americans, however, are too stupid to remember their past?”
Maybe inexperienced would be best. Ignorant too. But that’s because so many truths have been hidden via our cultural arbiters, that is, our education system, news programming, and those responsible in our government who seamlessly over many elections direct the first two.
And the Chinese remember what they call the Century of Humiliation, when the UK moved into their country and murdered them, took over cities, stole their wealth, and addicted them to opium. The US came along later and helped Britain in the subjection.
In my opinion, Cankerpuss, you might use your last bullet on yourself, but the ones before that should be put to better use.
Dave – “This is a U.S. and perhaps a Canadian phenomenon. Between Russia (then USSR) and China, they have a collective memory of 27 million and perhaps 60 million respectively dead in WW II. The Chinese a million more in Korea in the early 1950s. Their economies and heavy industries shattered. Let alone the internal struggles from the 1920s forward with their own dark toll.”
I get what you’re saying, but also completely disagree. You’re giving the rest of the world too much credit. The difference is that those countries recently (or repeatedly )lost their struggles, and therefore remember it more. Think the American South after the Civil War. Those folks remembered the shame of losing, and many still do.
Overall, Americans grew too complacent with the idea of being “perpetual winners” over the last 150 years, that is true. But humans be humans, no matter where they are (except maybe folks like the Inuit, who have to work daily for the simplest of things, unlike us), and humans will always societally debase, embarrass, and defile themselves from time to time throughout eternity history.
Well, until we’re all chipped, drugged and wearing Zuck goggles with one hand in a Pringles can and the other down our pants. You know, that might actually work.
Which God? The God of Romney? No thanks. That God has horns.
Conservatives know that history rhymes and that human nature is pretty much immutable.
Greer: I wish I could live long enough to see the East Asian/Hispanic culture that will emerge on the West Coast.
Jarek: What a great American! A true universality, the enemy of all particulars, or at least the particular culture from which he sprang.
I asked him once why he called himself Druid, since the Druids were Celtic patriots. If you have no such feeling, why not stick with the Ceremonial Magick of which you are a known authority.
His only answer was to ban me.
Yes, Uncle Archie is quick to ban. He writes well, but his comment board reads like a cult following. As I noted last week, he veers into conspiracy theory territory all the time, but if you recognize or label it as such you’ll get in trouble. My guess is he’s deliberately trying to avoid attention by the authorities when the crackdown eventually comes. Probably a good strategy.
I shook the dust off after about a month. I think he disliked [ maybe even hated ] my moniker.
What does that mean you shook the dust off?
I ran into JMG on The Oil Drum after I gave my two cents by in part ‘critiquing’ him as ‘chasing someone across the internet’ and over to The Oil Drum. Then, given the silliness of it, I switched the subject by mentioning that he was about to turn 50 years old. Something like that. LOL
The amusing thing is is that this was about 10 years ago, so maybe the lot of us should go over and, if so, wish the old fart a happy 60th. Then ask him if he would like to ban us. And then take off anyway. 😀
Oh he turned 60 last year, if Wikipedia is correct. Too late! 😀
But a fine writer. His two pieces on Fascism are the best introduction I’ve ever seen. Not that he believes! Rather the scholar in him is annoyed at the idiocy of his peers calling everything they don’t like, Fascism.
One can say the same things in less words.
As a related aside, I’ve wondered if book-writing somehow puts an evolutionary adaptive pressure on being excessively verbose in order to fill all those pages. Certainly it seems to favor those with a natural propensity for it.
@ The Man They Call Zazelle:
When a wirter is excessively verbose, that means he needs an editor.
Maybe some books, Anthea, can be edited down to almost nothing.
Dr. Coyote,
I feel like we’ve left The Long Emergency and we are all now bit actors in the prequel to The World Made By Hand series. I do not expect DC and LA to be nuked a la JHK’s story line, but we have so much going wrong in so many different directions that we are in fact living the crack-up of not just the US, but many other nations.
mrs_saj, I fear that you are entirely correct in this. As MaryQueen said above, “We are being led by complete drunken clowns.” In a clown car spinning over black ice, I might add. There’s no solution, no magic spin recovery method, there’s only some outcome – likely involving an inopportunely placed pine tree.
As far as DC and LA being nuked, two years ago I would have entirely discounted the possibility. Now however… eh, I’ll estimate a 20% chance of intense sunshine followed by fallout flurries. I just hope the conflict doesn’t spread farther than that.
Definitely headed toward an outcome though, not a solution. While I’ve read JHK’s Long Emergency books, I really ought to get down to the WMBH series. A sneak peak at tomorrow’s headlines, always a treat.
Jim’s prescience shines – as in all his writing – in his WMBH series.
His work is more than headlines – it’s the pith of what we’ll be dealing with in the not-too-distant future.
Not reading them is akin to sailing into the dark night. Follow the lighthouse for illumination & direction.
Jim is a seer with the incredible ability to transcribe what he sees.
i finally figured out the CCPs strategy and this strategy started around 1965. It is the Emperor’s New Clothes scam.
It started with Jackson Pollacks splattered canvas being declared Great Art. When in fact it was terrible Art.
Fast forward to 2023 and we now believe a man can truly be a woman.
The CCP has already won.
People KNOW a man can’t be a woman. What makes so many people afraid to say so?
Peer pressure is apparently greatly underrated.
Indeed.
The average person is a blithering idiot, and a coward. They simply think what they are told, and hide behind the mob.
Many are as you described, no argument there. But I think a lot of people are like me. Frustrated. Deeply frustrated. Why? Because they know things aren’t right, that the life we are living is a fraud. But it is ALL they know. It is all they were taught and, like me, they don’t know what the hell to do about it.
Vote? We know our election systems a fraud. Contact a Representative or a Senator? Get a canned response for an entirely different issue. Run for office? Get destroyed by lies, slander and libel and who can afford to pay the financial cost. Pay off our debt? Still have to pay property taxes. Go to church? The churches are just as corrupt. Focus on our family? The world is destroying our families through technology.
I don’t know what the hell to do anymore other than sit back, try to prepare as best as I know how and wait for whatever comes. As I have said before, I will keep the last round in my gun reserved for the very end. No way will I rot in prison, a re-education camp or be eaten alive. I don’t fear death.
You have pretty much the exact same view of our current catastrophe as I do, and the same plan.
@Cankerpuss—from where I sit, you ARE doing the right thing. That which must be done in order to ward off the creeping paralysis that afflicts most actually thinking sovereign individuals because of the scope of the issues we must confront. “The Scream” by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch sums up our observed situation and times.
It is about survival now and the choice is to act or just let the long-awaited wave to wash over all and everything and be one of the nameless numbers who stayed frozen in place by their own hand and mind.
I am doing much the same as you, doing actionable and necessary things. I have been prepping for this inevitability for many years now. It’s push come to shove, shit or get off the pot time.
A palliative antidote from my youth, “Desiderata,” is worthy of hauling out of the musty closet and pondering once again. Its opening line is “Go placidly amongst the noise and haste…”
As for me, I’m loading up my sailboat and heading back to the Alaskan bush, thousands of miles of coastline that I sailed commercial fishing and merchant marine over many years. My body is screaming “No! No! NO! but my mind and being calmly direct my course.
I think most of us are smitten just like you; this is a place where we accomplish our communion of like minds. I’ve never been a “follower,” but JK is my lighthouse on this biggest and final journey of my lifetime. A damned fine anchor that allows me to even sleep at night.
You are not alone.
“I don’t know what the hell to do anymore other than sit back, try to prepare as best as I know how and wait for whatever comes.”
When men from the gov’t come to confiscate your guns, and if they do this to everyone successfully, the next eventual step will be more armed men coming for another visit. This time they will demand that you come with them to be shipped off somewhere for your “own protection” – and they plan to relocate and re-educate us. At that point, only one thing is left for a person to do, and that’s exactly what our forebears did during the secession of 1776. That’s to hold your fire until you see the whites of their eyes. If you are lucky and have a really accurate rifle, use those “whites” you see in your scope as a target. After enough of these “gov’t employees” experience a terminating white hot flash inside their skulls, they’ll understand that they cannot be paid enough to work in the gun confiscation field. And then maybe the 2nd American Revolution can then begin. Each armed person chooses to take out at least two of the enemy before they themselves are taken out. No good result at all will be possible just from lying down and accepting death, even if as you say, you don’t fear it.
Maybe. It all depends on how much “toxic masculinity” is left in the country,
Actually, half are below average, yes?
Does that include you?
and what of those way below average? The hoodsters?
True, Jack. Witness the last 3 years of Covid hysteria. Pathetic.
Really? I thought you understood the mass formation, the indoctrination, the slow creep of post-modernism, the peer pressure, etc. etc.
It’s the ones younger than the Millennials who seem to have gone batshit crazy. A lot of the Millennials go along with it, but the younger ones really seem to believe it. I don’t know what they’re called, Gen Z?
They have gotten this bullshit their entire lives and they definitely believe it, it seems to me.
They do totally believe it, for sure (Gen Z). And they are angry, and believe that other people need to change in order for THEM to be happy. Which is a recipe for disaster, as one can only control their own perceptions, not other peoples’. So that’s what they’ve been taught. No wonder they are violently angry control freaks.
Just saw a video of a woman crying because even though she had her breasts removed, people won’t stop misgendering her.
Perfect example. She lives her life dependent on what others think of her. The exact opposite of what you do if you want to thrive and be happy.
People really don’t like being cancelled. I’ve become accustomed to the sensation of being the only person in a group who doesn’t ascribe to the other’s group think. Two thirds of the population however has become so accustomed to the self-reinforcing feedback loop between themself and their television that they would never speak up in a group and say something contradictory. If they are completely mindless, they can watch mindless TV. If they are completely plugged into the leftist agenda, there are many channels (all saying the same thing) from which to choose.
Its killing independent thought and the willingness to articulate a counter-viewpoint.
This phenomena does not exist on this blog!!
” What makes so many people afraid to say so?”
Beryl,
Pure, weapons grade high school peer pressure.
Once Americans accepted the Gay movement, this was inevitable.
Putin crushes Gay Pride parades. In your heart, you know it’s right thing to do.
A lot of people thought that flag was about tolerance and inclusion and not persecuting those who are different. They were wrong.
They should have been clued in when the T was added, because unlike gay and lesbian, it had nothing to do with one’s sexuality.
I think part of the problem is that most people just did not know that much about deviant sexuality beyond the fact that some people are gay.
That’s what made it so easy for the mission creep to fly under the radar.
The Chinese have already purchased hundreds of thousands of acres of American farmland, constructed Chinese cities such as the one South of Boise, Idaho, and are streaming hundreds of thousands of military age young men across our non-existent southern border.
In the Spring of 2012, I was operating our scissor lift for a certified sprinkler mechanic who was making repairs to our fire suppression system in the ceiling of our warehouse.
He told me about the job he did before our work at a warehouse in Dayton, New Jersey. There were over 300 people working at the facility, all Chinese and all of them not only worked there but lived there. The office space had been modified to serve as living quarters, the kitchen sized to handle the needs for cooking, and the workers never left the site, working two long shifts every day.
He swore that this was true, and he conveyed the details in such a manner that I had no doubt that he was telling the truth. How could such an operation be allowed to exist one might ask? Duh, pay off the government, and with the CCP backing you, who would be stupid enough to fight it?
Yes, they have already won, all we are waiting for is the official word.
2019 a movie was made about a Chinese firm taking over a plant in Ohio. Even though the Obamas were involved in its production, it’s worth watching, An American Factory:
“Filmed from February 2015 until the end of 2017, Reichert and Bognar were granted filming access by Fuyao at both their Ohio and Chinese plant locations. They were inspired to make this film as the events they aimed to depict were taking place in the same Moraine Assembly plant once occupied by General Motors.”
The candid remarks made by the Chinese workers who lived there show their contempt for our way of life and consider us lazy if we want time off.
Fascinating. I headed right over to YouTube to check out the “American Factory” trailer. Sure enough, the contrast came through immediately: not one of the Chinese workers looked old and tired and out of shape whereas the parade of locals were uniformly tubby, slow-moving and hopeless-looking. Including the foolish parade of “open-shop” busters holding up “UNIONIZE” signs. As in “Hey let’s commit suicide today!”
The purported billionaire owner of the refurbished factory, on the other hand, took the cake, gross beyond obese and radiating “attitude” as he descended from his business jet. He’ll never see seventy.
The film will stand as an object lesson, though not quite as either side would have it. The same way we can look at Leni’s TRIUMPH OF THE WILL as a black comedy.
I recall studying WW II photos of half-naked sailors and soldiers, muscled, hard and confident – not a fatty among them – and wondering “How can you play the game when you’re so physically ruined?”
Obviously the uniformly-young Chinese brought in as a vanguard work force were carefully selected to be obedient robots – no blimps need apply.
When I worked as the Japan Correspondent for CYCLE WORLD Magazine (late 1960s) I made friends with engineers at the Kawasaki Motorcycle works in Akashi. I recall trying to explain, in fluent Japanese, how unhappy American car company workers would intentionally sabotage the vehicles they are building, delivering to hapless dealers an 80%-completed product. Little cans of nuts and bolts squirreled away in a sealed Cadillac door panel, to cause a rattle that would drive owners and mechanics crazy trying to find it.
My audience looked puzzled. “He’s not speaking Japanese correctly”. They simply could not get their minds around the notion that a worker would willfully destroy the source of his income.
How the UAW and our benevolent masters in Washington ever expected that sad show to go on forever is truly puzzling, even taking into account the “exceptional nation” brainwashing we were all subjected to in the 1950s. (Ever hear the “Never buy an American car made in the 1970s” warning?)
The first Japanese autos imported into the USA were nicknamed “shitboxes” by loyal big iron types. Could not park in a Detroit lot. Get keyed or busted up.
Then you had some rancher talking to a dealer and saying “I drove that dang Datsun pickup you sold me 200,000 miles and not a thing broke on it. Hell, cheap to run too.”
Much-abused dealers eventually got the point. “Chevrolet of Tulsa” signs, with “Toyotas too” at the bottom in little letters, eventually flipped, as these small-business owners figured out that Detroit was not going to respond to the Japanese challenge by picking up quality (could not, as management and labor were locked in a ruinous, expensive no-win war).
Soon it became “Toyota of Tulsa” and who won the War, daddy?
Now it’s China’s turn.
You had a really cool job. Back in the late 60’s I was an avid reader of Cycle World. I wanted a big and fast bike with a cool sound and four cylinders. Unfortunately I was a poor college student at the time and could only afford to dream about bikes. Buying one findally happened in ’73, and all I could afford was a new Honda CB350. What I really wanted instead of the 350 was the CB750. With time I discovered that the CB350 could do 100 mph on a long road with a bit of downslope, and you could run it at 75 mph all day long and not break it. On dirt and gravel back roads and Jeep trails I discovered that the guys with bigger and faster road bikes either couldn’t keep up with me or had to quit the ride altogether. My next bike was a used BSA 650 – I wanted to look and sound more badass out in public. What happened instead was a number of times I found myself looking badass sitting beside the road after a breakdown left me stranded. Never did my CB350 ever leave me stranded and I used it for some long distance touring.
BSA, Woodchuck?
“Bastard Stopped Again”

“Bit Stuck All-over”
The Brits had their moment in the sun, mostly before WW II (from which, it is often remarked, they never really recovered, in spite of “winning”).
From the 1950s onward they blew it, big-time. Tiny racing departments were campaigning amazing machines, often with mechanics becoming riding stars.
Management was pinching pennies, assuming they could go on forever with their dowdy designs and poor-quality workmanship. Ditto for the cars. Thus Lucas Electric, a.k.a. “Prince of Darkness”.
All this amazed the Japanese. How could they simply give it away, roll over and die?
One of my duties for a small SoCal publication called “Motorcycle Dealer News” was to visit Birmingham and See-For-Myself. The factory looked like something from Dickens’ time, dark and dirty. Workers: sullen Pakistanis hammering gear clusters into poorly-cast cases. One year there was a wave of big-end seizures of Beezers in the American market. Teardown revealed [hold onto your hat] rusty main bearings. Nobody back in the old country cared.
Starting to sound familiar? Creeping Deindustrialization. Hello Detroit, Goodbye.
The year before I went to Britain, I’d visited the newly-built Honda factory in Suzuka (near the race track), where fast-moving, uniformed workers were already using robots to help build their swift little bikes. No Contest.
Beezers. Around the same time I bought my cb350 a fellow biker couldn’t resist buying a BSA 441 Victor enduro model from a dealer selling them all at huge discounts because the BSA brand had gone belly up. This bike won a lot of enduro races during its prime in the 60’s. But it was hard and tricky to start. So we’d go riding and sometimes a CB500 four and a CB450 would join making for a decent group ride. Each time we came to our parked bikes after a stop during a long ride, us Honda riders would hop on, hit the starter button and we’re all good to go after a bit of warmup if needed. The 500 four made an especially neat burbling sound as it fired up instantly.
But not the 441 Victor. Dude would be out there in the hot sun cussing, struggling, and stomping on the kick starter. There was a step by step somewhat complicated procedure to follow getting the 441 to start, I think he got tired of always being the last bike to get started and being the butt of a lot of jokes – so he sold it after having it a year or so.
‘Chindia’ has 3 billion hungry coolies.
My wife lived in China for a time and my sons attended elite prep schools.(scholarships and grants ) They are smart and athletic and take after their mom.During the time they were at school I met several Chinese families. Of course they were wealthy and well traveled and
money was very important to them. I would ask them about Chinese American relations and basically they said the American market helped make the country wealthy. I would go home and think great why would the Chinese government do anything to rock the boat ? Well seeing what their recent foreign policy is it’s pretty obvious that they won’t need us anymore. I’m glad my wife speaks Chinese. Maybe we could get jobs in a Chinese run businesses.
I might add this is my first time commenting.
I’ve been reading this column for years and just about all of Jim’s books. Also I have learned a great deal from the people that comment here.
Thank-You all.
ROCK THE BOAT OR TOSS YT OVERBOARD?
YT=whitey.
If their core value is the worship of money (and I believe you when you say it is) then they’ve put their feet on the path to eventual misery. They should learn — like we didn’t — that the love of money really is the root of all evil b/c it will push out everything else. I knew a woman in Dallas who’s grandfather started a chain of high end grocery stores and they were all very wealthy. She was not a bad person but a shallow one whose main interest in life was b.s. — clothes, who was dating who, gossip.
I don’t think China wants to rock the boat but mental midgets like Blinken won’t leave them alone to deliver us cheap crap. They just have to make an uproar over Taiwan.
Thanks for your comment, Ghost.
I agree that China has probably decided that the US market is not actually making them rich. They sent us goods, we gave them dollars, they spent some of the dollars on oil and then had nothing else to do with them but buy Treasuries.
After a while, they figured out that Treasuries were worthless, so they started buying real estate.
But now they see that the US will simply confiscate anything of value they own, so they are turning away and making deals with more ”agreement capable” countries.
No hard feelings, it’s just business.
And then people wonder why we don’t like Capitalism. The worship of money leads to Treason and Traitors.
And the more diverse America got, the less loyalty people had to it. Race matters to after all. As does culture. The more alien cultures in one polity, the weaker that polity will be and the less loyalty any one will have to it – even those of the original culture. Thank God Whites have finally begun to wake up to the nightmare.
How in God’s name did the CPC run a deep or not so deep subversion scam on the USA over the last 70 years? Throw the evidence down MR. John Birch. I suppose the evidence is right before my eyes and I’m to dumb or compromised to see it. The CPC isn’t even Maoist anymore. If you’re talking about social credit, etc, that’s on the Globalists and they aren’t, as far as I know, “controlled by the CHI COMS.
The Loony Left and the Loony Right in a Loony nation.
Ancient Chinese secret, doncha know.
They have the power to make Americans crazy, but they decided to roll it out slowly. It was part of the plan.
The weather balloon was the best part.
“The same half of the country that has fallen in love with surveillance, censorship, political prosecutions, election monkey business, mandated mRNA shots, and other excursions into bad faith.”
Back before Donald Trump ever entered the arena, when I was starting to oppose something I couldn’t even really name, except to call it “creeping authoritarianism” and “social engineering”, I found that the reason I wasn’t making much headway is that a lot of people just lovedt those things, they loved being a part of that stuff. Whether it was as a willing victim (I’m not doing anything wrong so why should a care about surveillance cameras; I don’t use drugs so why should I care about pee tests) 0r as an eager participant, what I used to describe as “everybody wants to be a narc”.
I think social media has greatly enabled all this. The youngsters get used to bullying and being bullied by their peer groups on social media and bowing to “authorities” in the guise of “influencers,” such that it naturally transfers to government authorities whose credentials are equally questionable, other than for the 24/7 social media blitz. And yes, deep down, I think a lot of people seek approval (good doggy!) by “being a narc.”
That’s a good point. Social media gets young people’s sphere of concern and sphere of influence way out of whack too. No wonder so many are depressed. We took away all of society except for social media from them too.
“Social media” has also conditioned youngsters to devalue privacy. A country of exhibitionists won’t complain about being watched.
Kids are raised to seek all of life’s answer from a cell phone.
No wonder they are so easy to manipulate and look to a central focus to give them everything.
And there is no way to avoid it. I tried to keep my children away from cell phones as long as possible. Unfortunately, schools operate on a cell phone system. My church coordinates everything on cell phones now. All the limited social life these youth have is coordinated through cell phones and texting. It’s heart breaking.
I had a wonderful youth spending my days on my bicycle, rabbit hunting, building forts, playing in the lake, getting into general mischief and just being a boy. I loved my childhood. I said goodbye to my mother in the morning and didn’t see her again until the evening around dinner time. Today? My kids sit on their asses and watch Youtube videos. When they do get together with friends it is to watch a movie. It’s heart breaking. They have no idea how fun life can be if one can let their imagination run free.
I don’t know what to do about it either.
I think there are cell phones that can be limited to certain numbers, at least.
Yes it is a dilemma for parents. Being able to get in touch with your child or have them get in touch with you at all times is a blessing.
I loved the telephone when I was a young girl. I imagine I would have loved the cell phone even more.
Being able to talk as much as you want without one of your brothers or sisters insisting it was there turn to use the phone would have en so great.,
And there are so many kids that one day will desperately wish they knew how to hunt and skin and prepare a rabbit.
Take ’em out hunting! I am including your daughters in this. I’ve never shot and skinned a rabbit.
My mom told me that she asked my dad to shoot a rabbit, because she thought it would be cool. He wasn’t into killing things, but he did it for her.
The rabbit cried when he shot it and my mom cried also. She hadn’t thought of it as a living being before, just something to kill.
So she never asked him to do it again.
The short lived ISIS state had little boys shooting men in the head – bad people like infidels of course. Less than rabbits!
But killing animals must be great training for war among more peaceful peoples. Killing probably comes easier for Muslims at this point – genetic memory? Certainly culture.
Rabbits are easy skinnin’, squirrels not so much.
Skunk is tasty.
But almost impossible to skin.
When you have a garden, you come to view rabbits as large rats–a destructive, nuisance rodent that you don’t want around, any more than you would tolerate rats or mice in your house.
They do have the advantage of being pretty good eating, if properly prepared.
@ mrs_saj:
I have actually shot and butchered a rabbit, and fried it up in the pan–but only once. For one thing, I’m 75, and that’s a lot of sitting on the ground. For another, there was a lot of blood. Unfortunately, it was all mine. (Rabbits don’t seem to bleed at all.) I had a brand new set of butchering utensils–a case full of razor-sharp knives. So I kept cutting myself.
Anyway…. It turns out that wild rabbits are tough–or at least the legs are. Some people harvest only the tenderloin, but I guess you could throw the critter in a crock pot.
Now that it’s spring, the rabbits are starting to show up in the yard. I saw four last night, but, oddly none at all tonight.
The reason I didn’t shoot them is because my .22 rifle has been jamming. I bought a gun-cleaning kit yesterday morning, but I’ve been too busy in the garden to clean the gun. So I guess I’ll do that tonight and try to get up right at dawn to shoot rabbits.
You are onto something there.
As a journalist friend of mine put it (and she is working on a long article, which I will post here when finished):
“it’s part of the elevation of the Snitch to desired archetype, as the snitch serves the same purpose as the colonial middleman picked from the native population to administer the governing nation’s will over the natives.”
As the economy (and government) have become more and more centralized, we’ve all become “snitches”–or capos, or colonial middlemen. I’ve rarely had a job that wasn’t essentially “make work,” and, really, if I landed a job that wasn’t actually destructive, I felt fortunate. In many jobs, lying is an all-day, every-day business, as is various kinds of disservice to the people that you allegedly paid to serve. You come to take it for granted that your boss, at least at the higher levels, is likely to be a grifter, and possibly a crook.
This creeping dishonesty has been advancing for decades–though, even by 1975, I had already decided that most of the economic activity in this country–and, hence, most of the jobs you were likely to get–were scams of one kind or another. Some exceptions were jobs on the lowest rung of the employment ladder. If you worked as a cashier at a gas station or in the paint department at Home Depot, the worst thing you’d encounter was ill-behaved or ill-natured fellow employees.
In 1960, it is likely that your town was running a speed trap and that your boss was not “in a meeting,” but playing golf. In 1970, you’d best not object the the Viet Nam War, if you lived in one of the MIC’s “company towns.” People were willing to send their sons to die (and kill a lot of brown people), if their paychecks depended on it.
In 2020-2023, our friends and neighbors were okay with genocide, not to mention closing businesses and locking people in their homes, etc. Committing genocide (or hushing it up) may have even been part of your job, if you worked for the medical establishment.
People have always been corrupt, and we’ve always been expected to wink at it. But, today, the evil is off-the-charts.
I think this creeping moral and ethical decline is why we’re in this fix.
I think it was at Fatima that Our Lady said that war is the punishment for sin. I think this is true. It would follow from that–and has been stated by quite a few people besides Our Lady–that the evils we’re seeing could be turned aside, if enough people would amend their lives–as was the case with Ninevah.
Today, we have very few religious leaders who have any suggetions for restoring our society. It seems like we are too far gone. On the other hand, look at Russia, which, in the Communist era, was pretty far gone. But, at Fatima, Our Lady requested particular measures be taken for the conversion of Russia. A few people undertook them–and it was really very few.
Excellent comment and observations, Anthea. Thank you.
OPEC announced a 1.1 million barrel a day decrease in production with Saudi Arabia and Russia in the lead. The price went up 8% overbite, to $80+.
A big question is why? Political BRICS++ action or are the big producers starting to feel the start of their production decline. If the latter, JHK may see his near term prediction starting to come true.
Analysts are saying $100 a barrel. From pissing off the Prince to stalling the production in both the US and Canada, Biden is directly responsible this summer for gas prices in the $5+ range.
A back stage item that will affect our oil response will be the draw down of the strategic reserve, as that method of cost control is an invasion of national security. Ain’t no more to get!
Another back stage item is the escalation of interest rates. Fracking needed 0% rates to operate. Those days are gone along with the banks willingness to lend to the drillers.
BOTH insane moves belong to Joe Biden, and maybe John Kerry, and will make Jimmy Carter’s 55 mph speed limit seem intelligent.
The SPR is at half capacity after asshole Joe sold off 200 million barrels in a political move to bring down prices before the mid terms. Don’t worry our wizard energy secretary Jenn Grundle says we’ll refill it when the price drops below $70 again or when pigs fly, whichever comes first.
The price was below $70 & Biden went back on his promise to refill the strategic reserves. So OPEC dropped production as punishment. And because they can. What’s he gonna do about it?
Great post, Jim.
I found a simple graphic the other day entitled, “Reserve Currency Status does not last Forever.”
It dates from 1400 to present day on the x-axis. The y-axis lists different countries who had the distinction of their currency being the world’s reserve currency for different periods of time. The countries included (in order) Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Britain, and the US. Each country held reserve currency status for over a hundred years, then somebody else took over. So the US is about ready to hand off the baton. When? Who knows. There are no press releases for this sort of thing. You only know it’s happened after the fact. And maybe this time around it won’t just be one new reserve currency, but several in the form of a basket, or even some sort of digital construct.
We can see from current events that this next hand off is underway. China is continually announcing new bi-lateral trade deals which exclude the US dollar. Last week’s announcement with Brazil being the latest example. I have read for years about different countries bulking up their gold bullion holdings in order to rely less on US dollars. China, in 2019, slowly unloaded, about a third of their US treasury holdings. Just like Silicon Bank, I am guessing today that China wishes it had unloaded more, because those long term treasuries are likely worth much less than what they were worth in 2019. The US “punishment” to kick Russia off the SWIFT system has been anything but a punishment. And it has educated not only Russia, but any country bothering to pay attention that putting oneself at the mercy of US policy and/or US fiscal responsibility is a big mistake. China, Russia, Iran, and even (gulp) Saudi Arabia are not just making noise, but actively managing their own transitions away from the dollar. Most Americans have their entire financial lives not just physically parked in the US, but also invested in the form of US dollars. It’s a risky strategy.
And Japan who we thought we had firmly under our thumb is going to buy Russian oil above the cap. America’s influence is slipping. I wonder when Japan will demand we remove all troops from Okinawa?
SW,
Agreed. And they will eventually demand the removal of troops. That is a great example of another way to disengage.
I was reading this morning, before I posted, about a 2018 trade deal between Japan and Mexico that excluded US dollars. This has been going on for a while. Drip, drip, drip. And bit by bit, countries are formulating their own unique plans for engaging less on the US. Perhaps these plans are intelligent enough to engage less with any one country. People likely don’t trust China anymore than they trust the US, but their economies became so uni-polar that its time to disengage and diversify.
SW,
Remove our troops from Okinawa? You jest. You may not believe this but, in the last century, Japan invaded China…and there were…excesses.
Japan fears China, and rightly so.
Japan and China have been enemies for a long time but I wouldn’t be surprised if they made common cause to expel the US from the Far East. The Japanese are pragmatic, shrewd people and I doubt they want a war on their doorstep. The best way to avoid that is not ally with the US and attempt to remain neutral. But we’re pressuring them and Australia to not trade with China. I have no idea where all this is going to go.
An intelligent Australian points out the absurdity of allowing the US to push them into war with China, using the excuse of “protecting” the sea lanes that China uses to trade with the world.
”One thing Canberra has struggled to do is to explain exactly why China would launch an unprovoked attack on Australia or its shipping routes; the former couldn’t yield any benefit that would outweigh the immense cost even if it succeeded, and the latter is absurd because open trade routes are what makes China an economic superpower in the first place.”
I don’t know how many Australians are smart enough to see through that bullshit. From over here, it looks like they are even more brainwashed than Americans. At least a large minority of us don’t believe anything the Establishment tells us.

SW,
I would suggest that the issues between China and Japan are not economic…they are existential.
Japan and China have been enemies for a long time.
I think the Japanese themselves have broad, and varying opinions of the US.
I just say this anecdotally, but I think the “liberal” Japanese types, those who felt that Japanese militarism let to the destruction of Japan, and those of them who felt adopting the better facets of US industrial techniques and “Nipponizing” them, which enriched Japan from the 1960s till the mid 1990s, these types can overlook the American bombings and “like” America.
The “conservative” Japanese probably are unwilling to overlook the bombings, and the American imperialism which compelled Japan to pre-emptively attack the US.
However, I think the Japanese elites are very intelligent and educated, and they must privately look with alarm on what is happening to the US, and the the US ratcheting up tensions with China.
Japan has many links with America today, and corporate Japan has many billions in US assets, real plants, as well as financial assets. However, Japan also has economic links with China–despite their mutual antipathy, money is money, business is business.
Unlike the West, despite their demographic challenges, I don’t think the Japanese have embraced immigration. Some one here can comment on that.
Very complicated for Japan…
The Japanese have not allowed immigration and it has problems of its own, that’s for certain. Their birth rate is dropping and a percentage of their young men have given up:
“They are known as hikikomori – recluses who withdraw from all social contact and often don’t leave their houses for years at a time. A government survey found roughly 541,000 (1.57% of the population) but many experts believe the total is much higher as it can take years before they seek help.”
They sound like incels but without jobs. What a strange world the twentieth century produced.
If we’re going back to a world made by hand, without the cheap flow of oil we’ve had for 130 years, countries that go back to the populations they had a couple of centuries ago are going to be better off than those that insist that they need more, more, more!
Japan supported 32 million people in 1870. Now they have 126 million, but we’re supposed to worry and fret that they don’t have enough people? They’re fading away to nothing, I tell you! It’s a demographic holocaust!
Pshaw.
By the way, Night Soil can just fuck right off. He always seems to forget to tell himself that, so I’m being proactive.
Japan not only accepted Americanism as a social, political, and economic model, but the pop stuff too. They developed a very intense form of it, very anti-life.
And they completely accepted Feminism as well. Though slow to start now it is a powerful factor in Japanese life – one that dooms them.
China has continued to unload their US Treasuries, going from $1.2 trillion at the beginning of last year to $867 billion as of November 2022.
I believe they would have, if less cautious, certainly unloaded much more, but: (1) I don’t think they want to cause a worldwide economic shock (they’d be blamed, of course, and it would hurt their own economy;
(2) the U.S. has been cranking up the rancor and military posturing belligerence quite enough already and is only looking for an excuse to fire some nukes at them. Most major wars are after all, economic in nature.
China has and Russia has as well. Russia’s ownership of US bonds declined from $96.1 billion in March of 2018 to $48.7 billion in April and then to just $14.9 billion in May of 2018. That was an eleven year low in 2018.
Quite right that China has done their selling as quietly as they can. There’s no need for fanfare or to cause a panic. Their actions say it all, anyway.
“Most major wars are after all, economic in nature.”
And many/most historians know this, but they always confuse and cover up the economic issues with phony virtue signaling. No better example of this exists than the US Civil War in the 1860’s. The north was the economic agressor and was ripping off the south with unfair tariffs and taxes. The south was told that they could not secede, and that in essence the USA was a roach trap. You could join the union but you could never leave without using overwheming military force it to happen
After the end of the war, the north claimed they fought the war in order to end slavery – an utter and complete lie that people believe to this day because it makes them feel good to believe it. It’s all about feelings instead of reality. Just as people today believe that a rag tag tiny group of muslim extremists living in caves and possessing about the same amount of firepower and manpower as the Hell’s Angels – that these wild men blew up a section of the Pentagon and demolished three skycrapers in NYC using only two passenger jets highjacked with boxcutters.
I thought I missed the boat with this, it fit in with the title of last week’s piece, but I see that this week we are still on cigarettes, and Ukraine as well.
How much do you think this young lad was groomed for his role, and when do you think it started?
It isn’t unusual for comedy troupes to do political humor. This was back in 2008, before the US got so involved. At least I think it was before we got so involved.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ih3udk7q2RI&list=PLA4zf_8iuIkOcsvV1tX_Ki4-6lwOgTj1s&index=16
Nah, the Orange Revolution was in 2004. We were already involved.
That skit was hilarious!
The gimmes own the country, they are the majority of the electorate, they own the MSM, they own the WH, the Senate, and the judiciary of the federal government. There is no way to decrease their power base to stop the loss of free America.
Extrapolate the last two years and a very dim picture emerges. JHK tries to pull the silver lining out of very dark clouds. Unfortunately, the people who care about America going down the tubes have no handles with which to turn things around.
Think about all the immigrants streaming here because their governments have deserted them. Where are they and we going to go to leave this collapsing country? Should Chinese or Russian become mandatory courses in our education system?
To Jarek
You have been watching the evil workings that a “free” America has been doing. Do you really believe that a fascist government is a better choice? Where are we going to get the benevolent dictator to run the show? I have not found a single example in history of the existence of a benevolent dictator.
Our Constitution exists to limit control of the insanity of politicians, and I believe that is proper.
There have been many good kings and dictators. Franco comes to mind. But yes, too benevolent. He didn’t purge and eliminate enough enemies – or transform Spain deeply enough. It reverted quickly to Communism (the American model) quickly after him.
Humanity is bad, John. Fallen as the Church teaches. It needs a strong hand if it is to flourish. That means not letting scumbags do whatever they want in the name of profit. Profit? For who? Not even them. As the Master said, What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul.
Please let your religion inform your politics, ok? What’s the point otherwise?
Here’s my contrarian view:
@JohnAZ, America is a legalistic society. That means people can do wrong, and get away with it, if it is NOT ILLEGAL. Very frustrating, at least for me.
@Jarek, I would have chosen Portugal’s Salazar. Portugal is pretty ethnocentric, as I understand it. The USA is not, so who will be king?
At the end, I think the US Constitutional system was the best system devised.
Of course, the reality is that, it was over a virgin nation with tremendous natural resources that the Europeans could remove the Native Americans from.
We must not forget that America was much more blessed than say, Greece, which over the course of three thousand years has been populated and fought over (by the Greeks themselves in antiquity!), and in the modern era is rather resource poor, and hemmed in by an large, aggressive, blood thirsty neighbor to the east, Turkey, and by Slavic rivals and Albanians to the north. I could make the same arguments for Germany–not as rich, and constrained by other nations, in similar circumstances.
Ben Franklin said, “..a republic, if you can keep it”. Well, at some point, the Civil War, 1913 (Income Tax, Federal Reserve), entry in to WW1, the Americans lost the Republic. And here we are!
While the world is going in the wrong direction, Russia is going to be the bright star, at least for a while. A relatively good government, accepted by the people, presiding over the most self-sufficient nation on earth. But the global tides are not good and will suck Russia under too…
Are you actually coming out as a Falangist, Janos??
That’s a monumental improvement in contrast to your hitherto previously held beliefs.
I’m genuinely a little shocked.
🙂 hehe
Negative. Fascism and National Socialism run parallel until the issue of race arises. In a mono-racial state, Fascism may do fine. They can theorize that it doesn’t matter since for them it doesn’t. But of course they’re wrong and America is toast because of it. Ditto Dugin’s Asiatic coalition and Putin’s Russian Federaton.
John AZ, there is nowhere else to go because the entire world is becoming a socialist hell hole. I have dual citizenship and could live in Australia but is Australia any better off than America? Not at all. In fact, during the covid debacle Australia lost is effing mind. Does anyone really want to live in China? Russia? Brazil?
We might end up being forced to speak Chinese and Russian right here at home as they will own each and every one of us, if they don’t already.
“here is nowhere else to go”
I spoke with a number of Chinese after the ‘election’ in 2020.
The message from them was clear: this is the last place for them to go. They had already fled China to come here. ‘We can’t let this country fall’ was their message.
‘there’
Their was correct.
Many of them hate Whites. And they have foolishly allied with the Left since they wanted to be on the “winning” side. Meanwhile, the sacred cows of the Left – the Blacks – hate Asians and throw them in front of trains.
Asian Americans are an utterly lost and dying people, their women taken by desperate White men trying to get away from their own evil women.
Asian Hollywood protested the attacks on Asians – without ever mentioning Blacks, only “racism”. In other words, the punks were implying Whites were responsible. Fuck them.
@ Jarek who wrote: ” their women taken by desperate White men trying to get away from their own evil women.”
As a senior, the songs that still buzz around in my mind is the popular stuff of many decades ago. Here ya go Jarek, the lyrics for the Canadian band – the Guess Who’s “American Woman” song. . I heard this popular song many times on the radio while I was driving around back in the day.
At the height of the Viet Nam war, some US males of the Woodstock generation left the USA and settled in Canada to avoid being drafted and to avoid supporting a unpopular and senseless war. So here’s what Canada thinks about our wimin. The hip section of young women in the nation who were rock fans knew very well they weren’t the “American woman” being referred to in this song. They were instead the hip, liberated women unconstrained by contemporary sexual mores or even by national boundaries. Some of them were up in the front rows at rock concerts with a lucky few getting backstage passes. With the really lucky few perhaps even a ride in a private jet with plenty of coke and stars for all. But that was the 60’s and later in the 70’s when we all went disco dancin’. You see, us old farts are always talking about the good old days.
And here’s a part snipped out of the lyrics of “American Woman” You like?
….American woman, stay away from me
American woman, mama let me be
Don’t come a hangin’ around my door
I don’t want to see your face no more
I got more important things to do
Than spend my time growin’ old with you
Now woman, I said stay away
American woman, listen what I say
American woman, get away from me
American woman, mama let me be
Don’t come a knockin’ around my door
Don’t want to see your shadow no more
Colored lights can hypnotize
Sparkle someone else’s eyes
Now woman, I said get away
American woman, listen what I say-ay-ay-ay
American woman, said get away
American woman, listen what I say
Don’t come a hangin’ around my door
Don’t want to see your face no more
I don’t need your war machines
I don’t need your ghetto scenes
Colored lights can hypnotize
Sparkle someone else’s eyes
Now woman, get away from me
American woman, mama let me be
Go, gotta get away, gotta get away now go, go, go
I’m gonna leave you woman
Gonna leave you woman
Bye-bye bye-bye, bye-bye, bye-bye
You’re no good for me
I’m no good for you……..”
Yes, a fascinating “insertion” of eternal truth into the maelstrom of illusion that was the 60’s and early 70’s.
But you like it! Or Dil does, and you are Dil, but also Woody who sees through it. You have to develop a higher Third, above Woody and Dilbert. Call him the Observer, or the Master…..
We know what Women want: More. Bigger. Better – than whatever and whoever they already got. The secret in a word: Hypergamy.
William James stumbled to his desk during a mescaline trip and wrote down the secret of the Universe before falling asleep. After awakening, he eagerly went to his desk to read it:
Higamous hogamous,
Woman is monogamous
Hogamous higamous,
Man is polygamous.
It’s wrong. Women are serial monogamists, always looking to “trade up” or monkey branch to the next and better man. Marriage ties them down. The ancients knew and knew it couldn’t be allowed. As Freud said, control of female sexuality is a sine qua none for any Civilization.
I agree. I am unable to think of any place in the world that has a well behaved government.
Yeah, better to be ruled by corporations and banks directly without any interference from “government”.
Capitalism good!
Remaining stupid in the English language is “best option.”
Uh, not exactly. Not only is Russia is the planet’s largest country but it is also an officially Christian country with a state supported church, the Russian Orthodox. Russia is becoming what the USA once was. It’s the West that will become a socialist hellhole, Russia will become an increasingly prosperous and free country run by mentally healthy people. It will become the country everyone wishes to flee to. Unfortunately, the Russians will probably be *very* selective about who gets to be a Russian citizen. Riffraff won’t make it past the gate.
But I’m too old to learn Russian.
Too old to learn Russian? Russian and Greek have a lot of similarities. If you’ve learned Greek already, Russian won’t be that difficult.
But that may not be necessary anyhow. People everywhere in Russian schools are learning to speak English – it’s still a somewhat universal language. Once you are in Russia and living around Russians, you’ll pick up the language naturally. But you will have to do some work in learning a new alphabet and cursive writing.
The secret of learning a new language is to start with the swear words—-
Statute of LIMITATION. It’s singular not plural. Nitpick but it is driving me nuts to hear it mangled by everyone.
Just like Daylight SAVING Time.
Daylight Saving Time. That triggers me, on many levels.
It’s like a Bank. You can store up time and then spend it, wisely one hopes. You get interest on it too: .0001% per anum.
Why?
Daylight Saving Time is correct.
It might be clearer with a hyphen:
Daylight-saving time.
Time that saves daylight.
Because you can’t save daylight, for one.
When the term was coined the idea was seen to “save” more daylight from the beginning of the day for “use” the end of the day.
But I expect you knew that.
Maybe “daylight deposit” would have been better!
Or, “daylight withdrawal and deposit.”
For those who enjoy arguments about angels and pinheads and such.
Any moonbeams in a jar?
Jake, you are showing your “limitation” by worrying about grammar and spelling. Smoke a joint and chill out. Our leaders don’t think these issues are important anymore. Nowadays, just as there is no difference between males and females there is also no essential difference between singular and plural. It’s all good, use any word you like. Just be careful to use the correct pronouns when addressing people and you’ll be fine.
No Woodchuck, I’m with Jake.
We already knew that, Q.
For Q and Jake, there are only surfaces, no exteriors; style not substance. Meaning doesn’t matter, only presentation.
I saw what happened in Afghanistan. I see what is happening in Ukraine. The idiots running Western Civ are just one black swan away from the end of a rope and black swans have a tendency to pop up when you least expect them, as in now. All the rest of us have to do is keep our yaps shut and let natural selection do its thing. It won’t be long now.
For natural selection to work there must be predators involved to do the selecting. Keeping your yaps shut is ok but how many of y’all are willing to step up to the plate and be predators? That’s not necessarily a safe position either but it’s still a lot better than being the prey.
Well rest assured Blinkin’s on the job. I read he’s made a call to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Not to talk about Ukraine but to demand the release of some WSJ reporter detained in Russia. It’s all about priorities you see. I’m sure Lavrov is impressed by Tony’s blusterings. This reporter was in Russia asking questions I assume. Maybe the wrong kind of questions?
Lavrov – usually the top competitor for smartest/sharpest in any room he enters.
Lavrov is brilliant, and his sense of humor is fine as well.
But he has a serious competitor in Putin.
Remember when Senator Goodhair deigned to drop into Moscow, chasing after the naughty Snowden, and DEMANDED the Russkies turn him over to the Exceptional Nation for prosecution?
Putin and Lavrov sat side by side, attempting to maintain a straight face as Kerry blustered on.
Lavrov kept shaking his head and saying “Nyet, nyet” prompting Putin to remark “Keep that up and I’m going to have to start calling you ‘Gromyko’.”
(Ya got to be old to appreciate it.)
Any chance they’ll take Brittany back? She didn’t ask questions.
Yeah, the reporter was in a military factory city, asking a lot of questions.
Meanwhile, Alex Christoforou recommends a Grayzone article about the children who were removed from harm’s way in Ukraine and taken to Russia.
Alex points out that reporters should have all done what these reporters did, instead of repeating the nonsense that moving children away from HIMARRS missiles is a war crime.
Nope, they are too busy spying on Russian weapons production to do their actual jobs.
.youtube.com/watch?v=noggzMMaZhk
Alex said that Blinken called Lavrov to demand the release of the WSJ ”reporter” and the rumor is that Lavrov said, ‘Sure, as soon as you release Assange.’
That would be awesome if true!
It would!!’
Please please please.
In light of the Tragedy and Assassination of Julian Assange, Snowden must light a few candles for Putin every morning of every day he gets to enjoy his normal life in Russia with wife and child, under Putin’s protective umbrella.
Yup, free Julian.
That’s a no-brainer, stupid IQ test and related comments elsewhere notwithstanding.
Russia should blow up that reporter in retaliation for the one that the US/Ukraine terrorists blew up.
That would be justice.
An excellent idea!
Except, the Russians are too smart to fall into that kind of trap.
Da!
Huh, sites like The Guardian, DW & the Telegraph insist that Europe does not need natgas or petroleum from Russia ~ in fact the Russia Ukraine War is a blessing — the real war is the War Against Climate Change.
Do they really believe Industrial Europe can be run with Solar Panels & Wind Turbines? It seems like they do, and they’re going ball to the wall to get it done.
The clown show running the EU, whose mouthpieces those organizations are a part, are all in on panels and turbines supplemented by very expensive US natgas.
The wind will fail, the turbines will freeze, a series of cloudy days will dull the panels and the US shale industry will tank.
Nothing but fun times in their future.
You just have to remember both Eric Blair (George Orwell) and Aldous Huxley were sons of Perfidious Albion.
Blair was ex-Military Intel, er, in the diplomatic corps, and is said to have participated in torture while stationed in SE Asia. Gives a feller a lot to think about after doing something like that. Something to write about too, an expunging of a guilty conscience.
The British press: Why the next thing you know there will be the same headlines screeching from all of them…
“War Is Peace” and “We’ve Always Been At War With East Asia”
Rather rings a bell, eh wot? Big Ben, as a matter of fact.
We’re already there.
Men are Women. Censorship is Freedom. Counting Votes is Undemocratic.
We had to kill them in order to save them.
Two legs (on women) good. Three legs better.
Four legs even better, ask the Furries.
Didn’t you post this comment a few weeks ago?
A little nuclear war would be good for the environment too.
LOL! No doubt they’d spin it that way. “We’ve proven that nuclear radiation has a cleansing effect on environmental pollution! I few totally unrelated deaths are a small price to pay.”
BackRowHeckler,
I know, it’s amazing what people can convince themselves of, isn’t it?
JHK mentioned this morning about steering clear of crazy. He’s right. I will add that I don’t invest my time in debating the deluded. It’s not a good investment. Let Europe figure it out. They will eventually, perhaps before they have arrived at an 18th century existence.
they’re going ball to the wall to get it done. – BRH
===========
Are you saying Industrial Europe has an undescended testicle?
A statute of limitation on going ball to the wall during daylight saving time.
Today’s laugh out loud moment!
Haha.
No Q, what I’m saying is Ruggers lost in the first round of the NIT, & UCONN will be winning the NCAA Championship tonight.
OUCH! DOWN goes Q. Man! DOWN goes Q. Man!

If every American LNG tanker currently operational were to be devoted solely to supplying Germany with NG to replace that lost by US sanctions and O’Biden’s terrorist bombing of the Nordstream Pipelines, and all the Russian gas now arriving through India were to be halted the US NG supply would be barely adequate to restore pre-war German industrial capacity.
Of course it would take most of a decade to build enough terminals to unload it— .at a price 10X that of the original Russian supply.
But the O’Bidens and the Guardians never were very good at math.
The mental mollusks have no way back, no way forward, no way out. They are running the country to ground because dystopia gives them the ever so slight chance of sneaking away unmolested while Rome burns. It’s going to be not just an interesting summer, but until this unreality gets squared around. I was hoping to close out my life in a point of history that was more boring. I can say that hope is dashed.
Fubar
The term “Mental Mollusk” is a very deep and racist insult. Octopus are a member of the Mollusk family and have a brain far advanced from that of any human, enabling them to shape shift their entire physical presence solely through the powers of mind.
James, thank you for telling the truth about Ukraine. It is a sick satanic slaughter of 325,000 Ukrainians, so far, for the enjoyment of the demons of Washington D.C.
325,000 would not even tickle the conscience of those demons.
Madeleine Albright is smiling from her crypt.
Another sign of the Apocalypse;

…And this one ain’t a joke….
Another little puppy led to the slaughter.
Dis,
I seem to recall Putin declaring that any further encroachment of Nato would be considered an act of war.
They just keep poking the bear.
…Yo, Putin don/t play that shit….
As well he shouldn’t. He should maybe put a missile on the induction ceremony to signal his disapproval. Wouldn’t that be fun?
It would be a blast.
At least the bitch who agreed to this, Party Girl, has lost the election.
Do you think the new one will take Finland out?
Finland & Russia have always had a strange relationship. They share a long border, and historically large swaths of Finland at different times have been part of Russian territory. Finland lent 10 Divisions to the Axis Powers in 1941, invading Russia from the North, and this coming after the short, bloody Finn-Soviet clash in Nov. 1939. This second Russian conflict in 1941was almost independent of the German invasion of Russia, they called it the ‘Continuation War’, altho the two armies — German & Finnish — did coordinate their efforts somewhat. Ironically enough, when the Finns sensed that the Germans were losing the war, they quickly switched sides, joined the Soviets, and drove the German Army out of Finland. In 1945 the Soviets could have occupied Finland like they occupied eastern Europe but Stalin decided to allow Finland to continue as a semi independent Republic; Finland had autonomy, but was heavily influenced by Moscow.
Dec., 1941, Hitler to Mannerheim, “We got the Russians hemmed in. They are finished.”
It is time to wipe Finland off the map. Helsinki? More like go to Hell Sinki!
Cowbell,
Finland may oblige you on this if they join Nato (barely warrants the capital N) and becomes a pawn in the campaign to antagonize Russia.
become (singular)
I needed to fix that before Q or some other singular/plural fetishist saw it.
Have to tender my appreciation of all that you do for not only us, your loyal readers, Jim, but the actual historical service you do for your country as a voice of conscience, a mostly thankless task as evidenced by your Google badge of Honor.
Being a thorn in the side of the powers that be, and a swift twice a week kick in the rear to the mostly myopic citizenry of this nation is a powerful action of statement to treasure. And I believe I can speak for the regulars in according you such deserved respect and honors.
The Sage. The One I listen to in the ongoing conversations in my own head in these most fickle and dangerous times.
So… thanks.
Yeah, what you said.
Hear, hear!
Last night I dreamed the next President was a hand puppet. The public did not know (and it was never shown) who was at the other end of the arm. The mainstream media treated this as perfectly normal, even calling anyone who questioned the arrangement an “Alt-right, nut job, domestic terrorist”.
That’s no dream, that’s reality.
The American populace is the puppet, and the puppet master (aka the Deep State) has their fist right up our asses!
Sometimes I wonder if I’m going to survive the denouement of this little story that’s unfolding. Hell, I also wonder if homo sapiens is going to survive it!
It looks like the current Donald Trump legal fiasco is designed to keep him from running for president in 2024. But why the need for all of these elaborate shenanigans? Wouldn’t it be easier for those who control our country to just rig the 2024 election like they did in 2020? This would easily solve the problem — once again keeping the Orange Man from returning to the White House.
Bread and circuses
Or even just let Trump win and watch him do nothing.
They’ll fix the election too if necessary, but I’m sure they’d like things to settle down a bit with two safe, politically neutered candidates of their own choosing. And the prosecution and attendant hoopla can vent steam from Trump supporters in the meantime.
It’s not about Trump (in my opinion) it’s about his supporters. The plan is to enrage them to the point of non-peaceful protestation, then cage them, monitor them, take their guns.*
Explosions of Love conducted by orchestras such as Burn, Loot, and Murder, will continue to be both praised, encouraged, and lavishly supported.
*Extra bonus prediction: One act of the coming “white nationalist” “uprising” will be the assassination of the ‘Ho, (by evil, racist whites, of course) to pave the way for the CoronaNation of the Hildebeast.
Violence is coming no matter what anyone does at this point.
Once that happens, the globocap nutters can go full fash and whoever is left standing is the winner.
That is how things are going to go down, like it or not. The plan is for a global plantation.
That’s the suggestion in the Global Research article I posted downthread on the French fires and events in Germany (and elsewhere).
Prospero
A Plan devised by the same people who decided to sanction Russia to trigger the overthrow of Vladimir Putin.
Scott Newgent (trans”man”) speaks out about the horrors of transitioning and how it almost killed her, and what utter harmful bullshit transing is; also she mentions that there are no studies showing transing helps people, but plenty showing they are worse off afterwards. The MSM won’t report it, neither will the government:

A good sign since they ran cover for the trans demons – and often the pedophile ones as well.
Gurdjieff once answered a question that, Yes, gay people could make spiritual progress. But they must give up their arrogant belief that they were better than normal people. Anyone who knows them knows they are like this.
Jim, You’re feeding pablum to the minnows. What’s happening to the mind that wrote the long emergency? I think your writing is now AI generated. Boilerplate busy work to fleece the insane right. So much of everything is inaccurate and sometimes stupid that I’ll leave you to simmer in your own kitchen. Signed, Speaking Truth to BS
Just curious here. Do you get paid by the hour or by the word for your trolling? Do you get any help from AI while doing this?
I think that the HIV/AIDS that your body is fighting has finally overtaken your brain and common sense. You need to keep your pecker out of the backsides of other men already!
If I remember correctly, our new friend was the result of a late night in the lab by our esteemed Dr. Fauci. An after-hours experiment involving a bottle of Night Train, a Marvin Gaye album, and a green monkey (Chlorocebus sabaeus).
lol, no ferret? I feel like there was a ferret involved somehow.
The ferret was sent to retrieve lost gerbils – if I remember correctly…

Aren’t important facets to the “Long Emergency” political instability at home, and US foreign responses to failed energy policies?
Hmmm. I don’t know. I think Jim is simply exploring the Collapse, in his own way, of course.
It’s akin to a sports announcer excitedly and dramatically describing the fiery car crash during a particularly wild & unpredictable race.
Of course, if the car was a metaphor for the Collective West.
The is of course going terribly.

The Jewish Elite hate their own people just like our Elite hate us. Interesting. I wasn’t sure about that, but it seems to be so – even though they have served them better. Perhaps it was because they needed them more, but now no longer do?
Israelis were forced to take the mRNA injections more than any other nation I know of.
So yes, the Israeli elite care very little for the Israeli people, much like the Globalists who want to rule the world and prune the population to 500 million.
whats the death rate?
like always, the hate us more than they love themselves.
So, if there’s a motion for a gag order, (which could be in effect for 15-20 months) and apparently Trump has about 34 indictments pending, So-Why not make a Motion to move the Case to Florida? Trump and Desantis can have some weight in this process? No?
This is Holy Week. The Lamb goes to the capital (Gotham) for the slaughter of his own accord.
If they go through with this, he will become greater than they can ever imagine as did Obi Wan.
Trump MUST be elected to the presidency again in 2024 if we are to show this Deep State and the radical left who is boss. In 2024 there is absolutely no other choice but Trump.
Only if those who own the voting machines – and the “media” that “reports” the “results” – allow it.
Holy Week in the West. Not for Orthodox Christians.

The head of Russian private military company (PMC) Wagner, Evgeny Prigozhin, has announced a milestone achievement in the battle for the city of Artyomovsk (known in Ukraine as Bakhmut), publishing a video allegedly taken in front of the town’s administrative building on Sunday evening.
“We hoisted the Russian flag with the inscription ‘Good memory to Vladlen Tatarsky’ and the flag of PMC Wagner on top of the city administration of Bakhmut,” Prigozhin said in the clip.
Prigozhin’s announcement comes just hours after prominent Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maksim Fomin) was killed in an apparent improvised explosive device blast in a café in St. Petersburg on Sunday afternoon.
“Legally speaking, Bakhmut is taken. The enemy is concentrated in the western districts,” the head of the PMC added.
Jarek: Triumph in Bakhmut. Paula is ecstatic. She loves Russian thugs like this, and hates their American counterparts.
We have to stop them! Send in the Clowns, the Tranny Troops. Z can lead them in his thong. Make Sam Brinton and Bankmanfreid go in. It will make men out of them.
It’s official, the Moon will soon no longer be the pure and sacred celestial sphere it once was:
“NASA has flown 24 white American men to the moon. Now it’s finally sending a woman, a Black astronaut, and a Canadian.”
httpsXX://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/nasa-reveals-its-sending-a-woman-a-black-astronaut-and-a-canadian-to-the-moon-for-the-first-time-ever/ar-AA19qfA1
NASA is making the Moon is go Woke!
That’s kind of an insult to Canadians.
Also sounds like the beginning o a bad joke.
Punchline: And they didn’t come back!
White racist conspiracy theorists will be arguing among themselves whether it was cold, heat, or radiation that got them, but we will all know it was Covid – with a heapin’ helpin’ systematic racism.
(A tranny drag queen – with excess luggage – will climb aboard at the last moment, to great fanfare and nationwide rejoicing.)
Duh… “Systemic”.
Everything looks so different once you hit “Submit Comment”…
Is the tranny’s luggage their own luggage or luggage they stole from the airport?
Good question!
Answer: “Does it matter?”
Hahahahaha!
Since there was only one Real Woman among the crew it will become obvious that there really s a difference between men and women. And since she is a Black woman it will only take one generation before the Black genes assert their superior strength over all the Woke white sperm.
So, 24 white men and one black woman got out of a spaceship and discovered that they were on the moon.
. . .
That’s the inclusive Artemus II mission, designed as a big FU to Whitey.
Years behind schedule, it’s not going too smooth.
Let’s just say that NASA is not what it used to be.
Those Burbank studio rentals exceed their budgets these days. Not to mention they’ve got to pay to have all those sets recreated. Lots of skilled work there!
Will they paint stars on the backdrop this time, or stick with traditional black?
I think they’ll leave that up to the trans artists in charge of that. They’re known for their creativity.
The Hidden Figures are hidden no longer. Instead of propping up Whitey by doing his math, they are openly in charge now, with White men as the janitors.
It’s amazing how far Whites got on their own. Was it mostly by quietly exploiting Black genius? Or is Mary right and we never got to the moon? And there is no such thing as nuclear weapons, nuclear power, or even electricity?
Is her name Alice?
To the moon, Alice. To the moon!
Good catch Bill. That one went right over my head.
Since all they need to “go to the moon” again is another soundstage and trip to the Nevada desert, I’m kind of surprised with all the new video and virtual reality tech they haven’t “gone to the moon” since 1969.
Getting harder to keep that kind of stuff hushed up what with all the cell phones and stuff. I saw they had the asshole-nauts on the TV at last night’s championship game. Great PR.
I can’t wait to see how they try to pull it off this time. It should be hilarious.
Then again, Gen Z believes anything if it’s delivered to them via Smart or iPhone. Maybe the moon landing will be a Netflix mini-series.
But wait – I thought they had to scrap their moon suit, because they couldn’t get the technology right and it was too expensive?
Whatever are these new brave “astronauts” going to wear?
Wardrobe is working the problem furiously as we speak. All the sci-fi blockbusters since the last production have exhausted their imaginations.
“How’s the war going? Huh? Do you mean the war over in Ukraine? Or the US government’s war against its own people?… sounds like a plan to foment a civil war.”
A Great Prophet famously said… ‘You Shall Know Them By Their Fruits (Deeds)”… ‘every good tree brings forth good fruits – but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.’
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what kind of Bad Fruits keep fostering and encouraging wars of various forms and the pain and disorder they cause. Filthy, disgusting, ugly, stinky, rotting fruits born of the worse kind of Globalist Dark State Trees.
Yet another Prophet had this to say about War: “Whatsoever a person does, so shall they reap”. In other words, They are going to ‘Get Theirs’ One Day. And NOT what They are expecting or wanting.
And years ago, Edwin Starr passionately sang about War:
“War, What is it good for? Absolutely nothing!
War can’t give life, it can only take it away!
Peace, love and understanding
Tell me, is there no place for them today?”
But War in all its forms thrives today as never before. And only because some deluded faux-gods-among-us gain benefit from such strife and agony.
How very sad for Them. And for us. But remember… lots of Fruits to be gathered yet ahead. And you know what to do with all the Bad Ones.
Since Woman ruined the Garden of Eden for Mankind, I propose that all the bad fruit be force fed to females everywhere, starting with Nancy Pelosi.
Yeah, Obama will be known by his fruits . . . all rotten.
AID666…at least “The Long Emergency”, penned nearly 20 years ago, still has relevance. Also “The Geography of Nowhere”(1993), for that matter. The current blog…eh, not so much. But it’s still fun to read and it’s reassuring to know an old codger in his mid 70s still gives a fuck.
I bet Pete Buttpounder will make a visit here stat to help with the clean-up!
Derailed train in Montana spills Coors Light and Blue Moon beer into river: A freight train carrying beer derailed Sunday in northwestern Montana, spilling Coors Light and Blue Moon beer into the Clark Fork River.

How much beer was lost?
That Blue Moon may be hard to replace.
Besides, Pete Buttpounder (and his husband, Chasten) drinks strictly Chardonnay.
I’ve read where OPEC is cutting back on production along with Russia. Saudi Arabia has been pumping oil stained water for years. We live on a fixed planet so this could be another straw added to the Camel’s back.
They should probably just stop selling to everyone involved and sit on their oil assets, so as to keep the last remaining oil for their functioning economy, or sell it to the highest bidder when there is absolutely no more barrels to pump.
which of course is the real backstory behind all the ‘climate change’ bs, as if you or most anyone here or otherwise with brains figured out years ago…
OK, just a reminder:
The men’s NCAA final (championship game) is tonight at 9:20 pm and is on CBS. UConn vs San Diego State.
Go UConn!
Sports Talk Radio and TV lighting up today about LSU’s thrashing of Iowa 102-85 yesterday in the Women’s Natty. Seems the poor black ladies have been disrespected and treated unfairly by the media’s focus on white girl Caitlin Clark this year. As bad as black men have had it all these years, black women have had it 4X worse! Who knew? I think they should just go ahead legislate white girls (and maybe men as well) out of the sport for the good of all. Blacks (just barely) arguably own the sport as players anyway, as all black LSU proved Sunday. They were unquestionably the best team out there. No doubt about it.
For those of you who need “equality points” to feel better about yourself I suggest “Brother from Another” on Peacock, an hourlong white guilt trip and celebration of all thing Nee-Gar hosted by what else? An all Nee-Gro cast of commentators. You’ll be renouncing your white privilege before the end of the first episode, guaranteed!
OK, program’s over now. I feel cleansed!!! Has anyone here looked into racial conversion therapy? I’d like to start with the melanin injections ASAP, but am prepared to use black shoe die in the meantime. Are there any experimental gene therapies out there or anything like that, or will it require massive whole body skin transplants? Can’t imagine those will be cheap. I’m half fluent in Ebonics from my days in the military, so at least I’ve got that covered. Just when I thought I was getting it all together, along comes this bullshit.
” Has anyone here looked into racial conversion therapy?”
Dis,
The process already exists…remember “pithing” frogs in high school biology? Similar results.
SDSU has gotten by on sheer luck to get this far. I expect UConn to have this one sewn up by halftime. But since I’m predicting it, I’ll probably be wrong.
And now the South Carolina women’s coach is on TV whining. It’s a full-on bitch fest today!!! Maybe they should name South Carolina and LSU co-champions and have a special all black only celebration day? We’ll call it Ray-Ciss Day.
By the way, my metric for picking winners in basketball is as simple as tallying up the number of blacks in the starting lineup (No, I haven’t checked UConn, but they seem to be an exception regardless). If there’s any whites at all out there, I usually consign that team to the loss.
Uh oh, looks like UConn’s got one white boy in the lineup – freshman Alex Karaban – to SDSU’s none. They’ll have to work extra hard to overcome that deadweight, for sure. I think it’s only proper that they hold a racial confessional apology ceremony after the game if they win as well, but they’ll probably lose. Sorry brh! UConn’s gonna have to up their recruiting game and stop being so damn ray-ciss!
UConn played as many as three white boys at one time and STILL won by 17 – definitely a rayciss violation. There will no doubt be NCAA investigations into this to come with sanctions likely to follow. Hopefully, they won’t strip them of the title as well.
Jim, I’m inclined to offer you some support, but my concern is these pricks will figure out how to use records of support for various verboten idea mongers as flypaper to stick free thinkers to any convenient ginned up sedition-like charges.
If you have a po box to use, i will send you a postal money order that’s at least worth the effort.

Well, consider that “those pricks” already know who you are, and what sites you visit. Do yourself a favor and grab a few currently written books on the NSA…and read ’em.
I should also mention that “those pricks” at the NSA are a great bunch of gals and guys…I’d like to buy each of them a beer….
Those that walked out of the fire were few
And imbued with a grace that was ever renewed
Not Daniels perfection or Davids obsession
Or Solomons bevy or Levites confession
More like Downs, children renowned
Trusting and pure, happy now cured
Simple like children who follow their parent
Who loves with a love overarching with power
They listened
They turned off their digital prisons
They built only farms
They did no harm
They had wood for the fire or coal and a larder
For 3 months provisions in famine
Water in house with a filter
Boiled and cooled to destroy graphine tilter
And they prayed to their one Sovereign God
On their knees
And their hearts all said, ‘thank you’
Though lips might say, ‘please’
Sang on strings of a lyre of bent wood briar
Thorny and twisted, lightless and misted
Caressingly kissed and drawn
With the axe of a peoples now gone.
They sang their coming, their going, their praise
To the Lord that had saved them
He that was raised.

I just don’t have the words to describe how pissed off I am about the Trump indictment. I’m definitely not a Trump person. But what’s infuriating to me is the chutzpah of these people. I mean, Biden’s so blatantly dishonest, anyone with a gnat’s braincells can see that. Yet nobody’s making a big deal. You want to punish Trump? Fine, just do the same or worse to Biden.
This society has gotten so far over the top that the ultimate outcome is very plain to see. I don’t want to repeat all the statements made here by the readership. Just count me among those here that agree with most of you – you have said it all.
This month my wife, who is very sick, turns 80 (my wife is another whole story, about which I will explain soon). I’m going to be 78 next month. We both have most of our marbles. We both can’t abide what’s happened to our society. Maybe it’s just our age – you know, old people are pretty cranky. At least that’s what they say.
BTB, don’t get too pissed off at what you can’t control – because the ruling overlords aim to make us pissed off 24/7, and knee-jerk reacting, and hijacking our limbic systems.
That being said, it’s not because you are old and cranky. Things really are whack beyond belief.
Mary,
Of all things, unfairness and hypocrisy bother me the most. I don’t stay up at night frothing at the mouth; I got other things to be concerned about. But expressing my feelings makes me feel better and releases pent up negative energy. Being old means I’ve seen the bad stuff for a very long time, and frankly I’m tired of it. That said and considering my own personal situation, I actually feel pretty good.
I’m glad you have a decent situation – that’s a lot more than most.
Something to be grateful for, anyway. 🙂
The hypocrisy and open lies are what send me over the edge, bill.
Watching them stand there and spew impudent reversals of the truth is infuriating.
And watching the squawking heads repeat it ad nauseum is disgusting.
And then seeing that a good chunk of the US population believes absolute absurdities and therefore support absolute atrocities is the topper.
I think Mr. Kunstler has forgotten to follow the money. The arms dealers are making a lot of money restocking the inventory lost in the Ukraine (and Afghanistan too). We also get to upgrade our munitions by sending the ageing stuff to the Ukraine. For the politicians and the arms merchants the war is going quite well. Isn’t a good part of the 100 or so billion dollars going directly to U. S. Arms traders? They get the profitable benefits of war without the body bags to disturb the voters.
The English language press here says that the war is going quite well for Korean arms manufactures since they have been agile enough to ramp up production. They produce NATO standard equipment. They are refilling NATO inventory. One sporting goods store here is offering Polish stuff that their advertisement says they can import now due to the trade agreement about refilling Polish military stocks. So far the Koreans seem to be refusing to go along with U. S. requests that they supply the Ukraine directly with deadly weapons.
The war is going really really great, taxpayers (working folks) are transferring their excess wealth to the defense contractors and few Americans are dying. What’s not to like? Not only that but in the war white men are dying so the race hustlers have nothing to complain about.
I agree with you, Jo-G. To our ruling overlords, things are going great, mostly how they planned it.
Ukraine is being depopulated, Russia is losing young men also, and the whole thing is being contained Over There, without risk to America. And the race baiting doesn’t even stop when hundreds of thousands of white people are killed. The narrative rolls on, unchanged.
The only thing that didn’t go according to plan was the collapse of the Russian economy and the overthrow of Putin. That kinda backfired.
Oh well! On to China!
Paula
You forgot another thing that is going just peachy. Most of the women of Ukraine have emigrated to escape the War— and are known for their exceptional beauty. That means aging wealthy Western men can buy replacement wives at bargain basement prices and ditch the old nag they started out with. Worked for the Donald, didn’t it?
I don’t want to get too wordy, but here goes. Both my wife and I got jabbed near the beginning. For someone who was supposed to be so smart, I was was real dumb. We got both jabs because “they” said inoculation was in two parts. Then we did something stupid. We compounded the problem by getting a booster shot several months later. None of the people I knew had a reaction.
Then last summer my wife developed multiple myeloma, a bone marrow cancer. The timing is very suspicious. My wife’s best friend, who got the same shots also has developed strange symptoms, and she hasn’t been well. It looks like every anti-vaxxer was right. The thing is, multiple myeloma (MM) is no longer fatal due to advances in medical technology. But it’s still incurable. It can be manageable. You have to go through several months of chemo until the cancer cells are destroyed. Then it reappears three or five years later, and you have to go through chemo again, and so forth. The chemo isn’t too bad. This is not bone cancer, it’s bone marrow cancer, a big difference. If enough people want to know the details, I’ll write about them, otherwise what I’ve said should suffice.
She has been almost bedridden since November, but there’s other reasons why that’s so. I’ll write about them later. Anyway, this is why I haven’t been posting very much for a while. I just don’t have the emotional energy to get involved in the world’s problems, I got my own. BTW, my wife feels pretty good, but she has trouble getting around. It’ll be clear after my next post. Then I have such a shitload to say about the medical industry I hardly know where to start. I’ve learned a lot about it, unfortunately.
Thanks for sharing this, BTB. I am so sorry about your wife’s illness and both your struggles.
Our deathcare system is horrific. I truly hope your wife improves soon. The whole clotshot hoax makes me so pissed off.
Thank you, Mary.
Yikes. Sorry.
Two (vaxxed) people I knew died middle of last year, one cancer, one blood clot. Suspicious timing…
Absolutely, suspicious timing. Too many “coincidences” for it to be random, I think.
Will pray for both you and your wife Bill. My neice, fully boosted then diagnosed with lymphoma is in an induced coma. She’s gonna have to be tough to come out of it.
Clots and 2 dementia diagnosis in the family as well.
My neighbour, a fit vegetarian died of stomach cancer before Christmas. That was the first time I had heard of it, but now see it frequently in the media.
Everybody still tells me I have confirmation bias when I try to point this out.
Bill, have you tried nac, quercitin, etc? Iver might hit that cancer, and there’s a new one for the big c as well but I can’t remember it right now.
Thank you for your kindness. Prayers are always appreciated even though I’m not religious. I truly don’t know whether or not there’s a god, but if there is, and he listens to you, I’m sure that will help. I feel badly that your niece is so sick. Maybe God will help her get through it. My mother-in-law died of Lymphoma years ago, and so did her brother, my wife’s favorite uncle. My sister did of acute leukemia and my father of lung cancer (we’re not sure, but he was 96. That’s another story), so I know what it’s like to experience cancer of others.
Tell us again to stop talking about these wild conspiracy theories, Bill.
My how the tables have turned.
Nightowl stop being an insensitive cunt. Beanttown is dealing with his wife having cancer, and you take it as an opportunity to rub his nose in it. What a prick you are.
Shitbird defends the Gauleiter.
LOL:
Wow so sorry to hear that your wife is going though this Bill. Please keep in touch as much as you can and let us know what is going on. I was hoping actually that everything I thought about the jabs was wrong. I only know of two people who got the boosters and they are an older couple. I think they were doing fine the last time I heard. The medical industry is just that. An industry that processes people like they are things. So sorry y’all are having to deal with this!!
A friend’s father lived I think 22 years after a diagnosis of multiple myeloma. The (UK NHS) oncologists treating him persuaded him to go to a few medical conferences, in effect as an ‘exhibit’ of the triumphs of late 20th.C ‘modern medicine’. He died in the 2000s after what was a normal lifespan, even though >25% of his life had been as a ‘patient’.
I think he got experimental drugs, not chemo. Even two decades of this high-tech. medical treatment were free, given that the UK NHS then worked OK.
I’m sorry to hear that, bill. I hope your wife feels better soon.
I am sorry to hear about your wife Beantown. I hope things go well.
Sorry to hear that too, beantownbill. There’s a lot of heartache going around just now. All the best to your wife. I would feel better if more people knew and were angry, but most have no idea why they get random illnesses.
I warned my brother before the booster about the effect on the immune system, and it was like talking to a brick wall. He got boosted anyway (could have been boosted twice for all I know, and ‘bivalented’ too). Now his prostate cancer from 2018 has come back.
Hey Q!
Did I tell you my daughter “Learned and Taught” at UCONN?
Alabama’s first loss was too the Huskies. Alabama’s last loss was to San Diego!
“How’s that war going?”
My initial prediction regarding the Ukraine War – a quick pincer movement to secure the borders of Donetsk and Luhansk, the Azovs and their thugbuddies streaming through the quickly constricting gap, or mopped up inside, the Ukie army coming under a rain of fire if they try to step across the border – seems to have missed the mark by a bit.
Once I read that one of Putin’s goals was the “denazification” of the Ukraine, I realized the war was unlikely to end without the complete subjugation of the Ukraine. Closing off the Polish and Romanian borders to stop the flow of arms should make that easier, but it doesn’t seem to be a priority.
I hope my new prediction for coming events of the war is just as inaccurate as my first.
I now expect the US to enter the war, in the air and on the ground, in the Ukraine. We’ll invite ourselves with a false flag – maybe bombing the pipelines that run through the Ukraine from Russia to Europe, and which are still in operation. “Those damned Russians bombed their own pipelines again!” Then China joins in. Maybe an attack from Taiwan to force China to invade. “See? We told you China was planning to invade Taiwan!”
According the Colonel (ret.) Douglas Macgregor, Russia is prepared to fight for another 30 months in the Ukraine. I expect that they will use all those months, and then some.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the draft returns. Men and women this time – deferments for underprivileged groups, of course, somebody’s gotta be left behind to riot (celebrating the life of another martyred hoodrat – certainly not against the war, that’s a white problem). And those who come back will have their timeclock truncated and mutated by exposure to radiation from the depleted uranium shells with which we are sowing the Wild Fields.
(“Who will lead us through these dangerous times?!”)
“Fortunately”, I don’t think it will go nuclear because the hands that pull the Big Guy’s strings also pull Putin and Xi’s strings.
Can’t see the draft part. For one, the Generals don’t want it whatsoever, for two, the public would never tolerate it and support for the war would instantly dry up, and for three, it would be terribly expensive outfitting and taking care of all those “useless eaters.” The draft would be the long-awaited unifier that would finally get the public outraged enough to stand up to the DC madness.
On the other hand, full scale nuclear and/or biological warfare? I think those are definitely “on the table.” Wholesale destruction and “useless eater” elimination using readily available stocks that are long overdue for replacement anyway. Win, win, win fo’ a mofo!
Dis, the public allows everything now. Do you see any pushback for anything? For the forced jabbing and all the jobs and pensions lost? If people won’t fight for kids against the trans scourge, if they won’t fight for their own businesses and jobs, if they won’t fight against the US’ dirty wars, then they won’t fight against a draft, either.
The US population is not the same one as it was in the 1960s. It’s been programmed, run down and gaslit. We’ve been living under WWIII torture tactics for 3 years. Our psyches are different.
Disagree MQ, forced conscription would be a bridge too far. But not to worry. I’m sure its been analyzed economically and found wanting. Not enough money to be made by the MIC. And the reject rate on new recruits based on drug use and physical and mental fitness would be through the roof.
And look at your cohort: You all won’t reject the civil rights propaganda that was drilled in to you. You complain of the mote in your neighbor’s eye ignoring the two by four in your own, as Christ said.
Blacks as equals? Fatuous. They deem themselves our superiors, just as women do in regards to men.
Your incoherent babbling is tiresome, Jar.
The real reason for reinstating the draft would be to cause public outrage – demonstrations, riots – to justify further crackdown. Almost nothing to do with Ukraïna.
Now that might be a possibility. But the DC numb nuts would still be playing with fire.
I disagree about the draft also. That whole fragging thing disabused them of that.
Plus, I read somewhere that less than half (I think far less than half) of the kids that try to join the military are not good enough quality, and this is after they lowered the standards.
A draft would just swell the Rejected list.
The problem with the Donbass is that Ukraine had 8 years to dig in and the Soviets had built incredible defenses that the Ukies have to work with.
Plus, there were 250,000 of them, ready to depopulate Donbass, before Russia stepped in.
Have you heard that they are resupplying Bakhmut through tunnels that go from Chas Yar to Bakhmut?
So Russia has the roads covered, but they are moving things underground.
They are clearly planning to start a war with China, using Taiwan, and also Japan, Australia and South Korea.
The plan is to keep it Over There, just like in Ukraine.
Will the Chinese put up with that? Well, Russia is.
Attn Rowdy
https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2023-03-30/goat-slaughter-shasta-county-fair
America is often insane at the county level too. Girl is enrolled in a 4H program where kids learn about raising livestock. The problem: She bonds with her baby goat and the thought of giving him up auction and slaughter in unbearable to her. The father begs 4H to let her out of the contract. Nothing doing. The father takes the goat some place else to spare his daughter the agony of his death. 4H contacts the Sheriff and they commence a huge manhunt for the goat. The goat is found, auctioned, and slaughtered. The arrogant little girl needed to be a taught a lesson or something.
Surely this has happened before. Does 4H really not have a more graceful way of dealing with this? The father offered to buy the goat and take care of any and all fees and expenses. But as he said, there was an incredible vindictiveness at work.
California law allows children to break contracts and they’re suing the fair and the county. He tried to explain to them: His daughter had lost three of her grandparents in the last year and this was just too much for her. They didn’t fucking care. Kids have to learn about where meat comes from, apparently. Insane.
Jarek you old softy. That story really got your goat, heh?
Who eats goat meat in this country?
Yeah that is messed up. I am guessing that they are normalizing killing peoples’ companion and farm animals. Paula and I have been warning about this for some time.
Mary,
Who eats goat meat in this country?
Well, any well appointed BBQ joint found in the ghettos of our major cities will serve goat meat…I ate a plate of goat meat in West Oakland.
…Does NOT taste like chicken.
Does remind one of a coarse pot roast. A bit stringy.
…They also serve what they call “buffalo fish”. Carp.
Muslims and some African blacks like goat meat. It’s also used in gyros. Russians like goat milk, but I have never heard that they buy goat meat. It seems to be mostly an ethnic thing, although I know one family that raises meat goats.
Goat meat is kind of an acquired taste and needs some skilled preparation to make it palatable to Westerners, as it tends to taste “goaty.”
People who raise dairy goats tend to end up with a lot of goat meat in the freezer, because you have to cull most of the bucks–and every time Mama kids, there’s a 50-50 chance you’ll get a buck who, when he’s up to a decent weight, has to go to freezer camp.
The main reason you get rid of the bucks is because the grown ones are destructive and unmanageable. They are constantly escaping, even with good fencing, and they like to walk on your neighbors’ cars–or impregnate your neighbors’ does. (Your neighbor normally has a controlled breeding program in mind.)
But the meat can be good when it comes out of the smoker, or with the right seasonings, and probably also with barbeque sauce.
I prefer lamb, myself–though some people think that it tastes “goaty.”
Gotta kill the goat, but… “You can’t eat meat!”
I read of that [UK Daily mail?]..did she steal the goat?
@Jarek, That’s just cruel, and cruelty is a thing I can’t abide. Worse, it’s cruel for absolutely no reason. They had nothing at all to gain but apparently wanted to teach someone a lesson, and a helpless little girl’s broken heart was a price they were eager to pay. I’m sure both she and her father have, in fact, learned a lesson – just not the one they intended.
Personally i have to say that I’m getting really weary of the war and it is thousands of miles away. So I can only imagine how those who are much closer in proximity to it must feel. My understanding is that the Europeans are buying Russian oil through third party vendors at premium prices. It sounds convoluted. But its almost as if paying the higher prices are fashionable because it is being done for a cause. I would say this is the pinnacle of Western capitalistic marketing. Getting whole countries to pay more for something they were buying at much lower prices two years ago for moralistic reasons is something. Japan has decided it will not do this. I am sure at some point the Europeans won’t do it anymore either. Spring and summer are the best times to decouple so I suppose we will see what happens. Here at home it at this point seems like its Trump 24 ride or die. I like him more now than before the indictment so there’s my 2 cents lol.
Jesus did it, why couldn’t Trump? If all Republicans got behind him, he might be able to take the electoral college. Slim chance at the popular vote. Too many brainwashed, too many TWATs, too much TDS.
I heard that because of the jabs there are at least 100 million Americans who have fairly severe heart pathologies. If that is true I do really wonder if that is going to be chomping away at the number of TWATS.
My woke commie frenemy thinks it is worth paying more for gas if it brings down the evil Putin. He is “supporting Ukraine”. He is – in his mind – practically on the front lines providing cover fire for the heroes of the Azoz Brigade. Virtue signaling at its finest.
Of course he would never imagine that his zeal is helping to enrich weapons manufacturers. Or maybe he doesn’t even care about that anymore?
As with the translegal persecution of Trump: “The ends justify the means”.
No one said living among the zombies would be easy.
At least we’re still in the eye-rolling stage at their behavior. Which will end when they start clawing at the windows…
This was the essence of the homespun movement in India. Indians were forbidden to make their own clothes, their raw material (cotton I imagine) being taken to England, made into clothes, and then shipped back to them. Gandhi himself worked at a loom and loved it. His followers followed. They all wore “homespun” – undyed types greyish white robes.
It become a uniform of their movement towards independence.
Wow that is interesting. Well yeah it only makes sense that they would start a homespun movement. Why buy something that grows in your back yard!? You always know interesting little facts about things.
The “homespun” idea was developed in the movie “Gandhi.”
He already fat but wanna grow bigger and bigger
Dat sweaty, stinkin’, slinkin’ fat nigger
Instead of royally knighted, he get da man indicted
Done gone and gave us a nation more morally blighted
Promise fulfilled, Trump nailed to the cross
Fat, nappy nigger showed ‘em whose boss
Didn’t need no mac 10 to take the man down
Just did it with lawfare and put on the crown.
” A little nuclear war would be good for the environment too. ”
— Fubar
Actually I’m sure it would be.
Not in human terms , no.
But what is a ten – thousand – year clean – up to mother nature ?
I saw this episode of ” Life After People ” on the subject of New York City.
According to the program , except for a few details , in a mere 200 years Manhattan would look almost like it appeared when the first European explorer laid eyes on it.
I can believe that.
I have seen film footage from as late as 1950 of a palatial palace that stood up the road about 15 or 20 miles , it was the site of a Methodist Mission from up north to a local Indian group.
Apparently Methodist missions , like Catholic religious orders , like to build really big.
Go to that site today and all you see is trees . You MIGHT find a brick or two buried in the leaves , but otherwise you would never believe there was a 50 room building standing there less than 70 years ago , unless like myself you saw the pictures.
I think George Carlin was right ; The Earth doesn’t need saving.
The Earth can take care of itself just fine , thank you very much.
It’s Mankind that is in trouble.
Unfortunately, plastics and other pollutants will outlast buildings.
How far can the self-cleansing go?
The sun’s red giant phase will certainly incinerate a polluted earth, but that’s billions of years hence.
Mankind much trouble.
And the habitable zone within the solar system will move outward past the current frost line to include the Jovian and Saturnian systems. Perhaps one day there will be water oceans on Ganymede and Triton and we can make new homes there.
After that phase of history our Sun will become a white dwarf.
Yes, ultimately everything we have materially is made from the Earth and thus it will return to the Earth. Some things do take longer to dissolve and breakdown than others of course. But I have also heard that things, even like plastics, break down much more quickly (geologically speaking) than we anticipate. Of course it is also environment specific. In hot, wet climates things break down really fast. It takes much longer in frozen climates.
I think plastics break down way faster than what they say. I base that on experience using the stuff. It wears down. It dissolves. It erodes.
Plastic refuse also believe it or not creates habitats. I one time saw a plastic bottle in the woods and all of this beautiful leafy green moss was growing inside the bottle with just a little bit of dirt that got into it. It was actually very neat looking. I also notice that sometimes I will see shreds of plastic bags in birds nests woven in with all the other things they use like leaves, twigs and Spanish moss.
plastic is forever.
I asked an ‘expert’ when does it dissolve? They do not know.
it breaks into smaller pieces.
And the pieces get into bodies. That can’t be good.
There are plastics these days that break down within a few weeks.
We buy these kinds of bags for our trash.
Yeah, the microplastics phenomenon is troubling indeed. Life is so adaptable that I do wonder if bodies can adapt to ultimately filter out and neutralize them like other pollutants. Clearly certain damage could result though. I always still wonder about the whole biodegradable plastics thing. Maybe that was just a myth like cold fusion or something.
Night: And those “good” plastics are probably the ones that emulate female hormones and that are changing men.
Not sure there is any connection, Jarek, although I don’t claim to know. Aren’t some of the degradable plastic bags made from sugar beet or something?
Indeed.
How long has Fukushima been leaking nuclear radiation? 13 years?
Shouldn’t we all be dead by now, and the ocean as well?
Yeah I read the book. Really cool the way the subways under the East river – which need constant pumping – would fill up with water and then the tunnels would collapse and voila, the East river would be able to heal itself, and the land would benefit.
The sky scrapers themselves would last many years however. Bird coming to next in the sill of the broken windows. And plants begining to grow in the offices from all the dirt and debris the birds brought in. In time they might look like the old Hanging Garden of Babylon.
Some of the big building might fall when the tunnels collapsed. What a sight to see – but we won’t be there. Or perhaps a few savages will be.
Yeah I watched Life After People too and it was amazing how the old dilapidated skyscrapers would become major habitats for so many birds and vines and ferns. In a way it made it like something you would want to see in real life just because it would be like an awesome sight to behold.
Or maybe the idea behind Trump’s arraignment is to have him spend a few days in the Jeffrey Epstein memorial holding cell under, of course, surveillance.
Speaking of Trump, why don’t we consider a PEACEFUL protest by, say, having the truckers of America cease and desist delivering foodstuffs to the Island of Manhattan (and I’d throw Brooklyn in there as well). Just a suggestion.
With the current price of diesel, I don’t think truckers can afford to do much protesting.
And it is on the rise again. I wonder how high oil and gas are going to get this time before Biden reacts again. Not much strategic reserve left.
At least we in the USA are at the tail end of our winter heating season. I don’t have AC so no need to worry about that utility cost. If I had an oil barrel that needed filling for my furnace, I would fill that up stat for next year, and buy a reserve tank while I was at it. Luckily I converted my furnace to natgas soon after I purchased my home, but even that no longer guarantees a cost savings.
If I was to build, I might seriously consider a geothermal installation.
How high oil and gas? “To the Moon!” There is no selection to protect this year. And we have a year of cold, hungry clusterfuckery between now and the next selection.
If I were to build, it would be a passive solar berm house with a turf roof. Terraced garden berm. Greenhouse as the south wall. Heat-absorbing cob walls.
Woodstove.
But the music has stopped and left me standing.
Trump is his own worst enemy. I don’t know why I even support the guy. Terrible judge of character, gets tricked by the swamp every time, walks into their lair where he has no power. At some point people are going to have to tell the federal govt NO. Let them fine you, sanction you, and try to arrest you. Just kill all all the agents they send.
Sure, Fed
You support the guy because he is the only game in town that genuinely understands the problems and will do something abou them. The Deep State are a bunch of know nothings that want no changes, no progress, and total control so they can get away with doing jack squat.
Do you think a lame duck Trump with all the idiot Leftist legal probes over might just do some of the things he wants to?
If you look at the big picture, as PCR has now noted, it’s pretty clear that Russia is preparing for nuclear war.
In alliance with China, the Ukraine project has adopted a defensive posture established to gain time towards global de-dollarization.
If that can be achieved before further escalation, the hope is the entire US economic and social system can be induced to collapse, literally ending the anti human war against earths people.
The problem of course are the bitter, resentful satanists determined to destroy the world If they no longer have the power of wealth and control.
So Russia is working 24/7 prepping already very large civilian underground fall out shelters, have implemented a hair trigger alert system, and may have already concluded that a first strike attempt is the most feasible away of safely destroying the global enemy.
In this context, people who know the score don’t have to worry about policy issues, political figures or even survival preparación efforts.
We die by either the end of the dollar, setting into motion civil war and breaking up into regional factions, or our command centers and carrier/sub bases are destroyed in 5 minutes.
The only real hope is some kind of emergency take over where the evil ones are removed and the new quickly organized regime makes an appeal to the rest of the world for forgivess and leniency.
Wow!! We are witnessing a major change of heart here. I am thankful. This in addition to another event that happened to me on Sunday have strengthened my faith this Holy Week.
What happened? Feel free not to answer if it is too soon or too personal.
You can tell me in heaven if we both make it.
Maybe he had a come to Jesus moment when he saw that even great men like Trump can be wrangled into the maws of our corrupt system of American jurisprudence.
The only real hope is some kind of emergency take over where the evil ones are removed and the new quickly organized regime makes an appeal to the rest of the world for forgivess and leniency.
Which is no hope at all. The rot is far too deep. No one can even say for certain who exactly is and who is not in bed with the globalist satanists. And the power struggle would be titanic, likely leading to the US unleashing the nuclear genie as a last ditch effort to maintain the current status quo. I think the only real hope is a Russian decapitation strike to neutralize the evil bastards.
mitchellc?
Did someone else take over your computer?
Good men are tempted by evil. Evil men by good.
Women aren’t tempted. They fell already. There’s no height to fall from. Sometimes a few are tempted by good…..
Do yourself a favor and get a nice blow-up doll and leave real women alone.
Thanks! 🙂
Apparently you can get one that waters your plants, without even being asked – sorry, ‘told’.
You tried to gaslight me, Alba. Telling me that I hadn’t done what I had done (posted links). And that’s evil.
You didn’t post them anywhere where I could see them. I asked you to repost. Twice. Still no links. You didn’t even say you’d find them and post them later.
You accused me of ignoring the women. I hadn’t seen the women.
That is evil. Everyone knows your modus operandi, toad. Your pet hates push you to it. You will have to answer for it – nothing to do with me.
If you were a blow up doll, you’d be one inflated with flammable gas that blows up with friction.
A trap for unwary men.
It sounds as if A-Jerk is speaking from experience.
He is one sick, manipulative dude.
Today is Liberal Orgasm Day. It should be a national holiday! Second only to Trans Day of Vengeance or Trans Month of Celebration or Trans Rights Everyday to Groom Children.
Not only is it the day that MLK was assassinated, but also the day that Trump is arrested. A Two-fer!
This is the culmination of years of TDS indoctrination, kinda like their senior prom on steroids. Trump haters are out of their minds ecstatic. One might want to stay off the roads as there is myriad drinking and drugs involved in their celebrations, from what I saw on Twitter. I’m guessing the orgies (involving kids, ofc) will kick off later when everyone’s sufficiently wasted so can no longer be responsible for what they do. Oh, ha, ha! Silly me. they aren’t held responsible now, either!
Since I have no dog in this fight but am just watching society knee-jerk react to all of the psyops as the Titanic goes down, it’s pretty entertaining. Horrid, but fascinating.
Trump will be like the Hulk, a rising Phoenix after the fire. He will come out of this bigger, stronger, and more resilient than ever. His supporters will multiply by the double and the everlasting glory of Trump will know no end.
Ultimately, all of this will end up backfiring on the Deep State, and they will get their just desserts. Then Putin will team up with Trump and the entire world will be freed from the scourge of the evil West. (Okay, maybe that last part was a bit of a stretch, but we can hope.)
As opposed to the good West, the non socialistic West, the West that stands for its people, not the phoney evil Elite.
Do you still believe that he is in league with them?
You remember that, right? It’s not a stupid theory. You were able to make a good case for it.
Trump believed in two words, America First. He made deals everywhere for the betterment of the US. We had a horrendous trade balance with China for years, he enacts tarriffs to level the playing field. He did not fear, but did not hate Putin and made deals businesswise with the Russian oligarchy.
When Trump left office, the foreign policy situation was in total control with all the main opponents knowing what Trump stood for and respected it. What a difference wth the mealy mouth, really dumb Biden in place. He initiated a progressive withdrawal with Afghanistan to shut down the doggie waggers that had control for 20 years. The neocons never forgave him for interrupting their games, just like JFK.
Yes, he’s controlled opposition.
This circus should be proof, but I know people still like their reality shows, so, enjoy.
God loves a Poe.
Best one I’ve seen in a long time.
https://twitter.com/GayBlackLiberal
Wait, she is Black and she identifies as a plant? Wow, that is quite a pairing. What kind of soil does she use?
A Poe is a parody that is so good you believe it’s real.
This one is excellent.
Are you sure? That’s a real looking tranny with a serious looking occult tattoo.
A right wing tranny who hates and mocks other trannies? When I brought up Blair White, you couldn’t believe that “she” had any reality so I assume you won’t be able to see this either.
Terrible this thing is accepted as a teacher in the public schools. She is fat and downright ugly to boot, no wonder she has so many issues. This came from her profile:
I am SO thankful that I was able to help one of the heteronormative white boys in my class realize she’s a transracial black/trans woman like myself. I offered that she could stay with me if her parents give her any flack.
I love being a beacon of diversity for my class. ?????????
LMAO!
Ugh that is disgusting get it away!
A white shrek!
So this comparison is okay, but apparently the comparison many of us used to being like Jews in the Nazi round-up during the COVID restrictions was not??? Hahaha, what a crock people! If I had to look at that “thing” giving a sermon I would be sick, never wanting to attend that church again.
“Transgender pastor compares treatment of ‘marginalized’ Nashville shooter to Jesus being crucified”
The liberal pastor goes on to compare the Pharisees’ treatment of Jesus to politicians who make laws against drag shows and transgender players in sports.
httpsXX://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/transgender-pastor-compares-treatment-of-marginalized-nashville-shooter-to-jesus-being-crucified/ar-AA19soIn
Who did Jesus kill?
None – thanks to the commonsense Roman ban on assault weapons.
None – He was punished for His thought crimes through pre-emptive policing.
Mister we could use a man like Pontius Pilate again…
Yeah no one really checked under Jesus’ robes, did they? Until he was arrested, that is.
“He could have called ten thousand angels…”
Jews in the Nazi round-up during the COVID restrictions was not?
I was going to write a YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING response. The smell of burning bodies might be one difference. But then I remembered I have also been ridiculous.
It was years ago. I was doing the mouse with family. Orlando.
The rides. You go to one. You wait in line. People going in ahead of you disappear. The way out is not visible on the way in.
As a pup, every place I went had a door that swung both ways. Now people swing both ways and doors are often one way.
Big box stores often repeat the Disney experience. I saw cattle climbing a ramp at a slaughterhouse once. A one way trip into the building. For them it was a true ‘Nazi’ experience.
A break they did not get that day.
The only ridiculous person in this exchange is you, as so often.
Here in Germany we had 2G laws. Stores had 2G signs in their windows and no one was admitted without proof of the shot.
The only stores people like myself could visit were grocery stores. And by 2021 our “health minister” was successful in forcing legislation that allowed grocery store owners to use “Hausrecht” to keep the “unvaccinated” out if they so chose.
As so often, your ignorance is something one cannot quite put in to words.
This is almost as embarassing for you as Plymouth Rock.
No one being admitted is not the same thing as being marched to the middle of town and shot.
You claim to be in Germany, you don’t know this. You claim a lot of things. You are a nutter.
So who is the ridiculous idiot. You.
It’s the same as the Jews not being allowed to enter places of business in the early stages of what became the Third Reich.
You fucking idiot.
Night Fowl, you are a pussy. You are afraid of your own damn shadow. Nobody where I am was forced out of any business during the entire covid whatthefuck. Dr’s offices still have a mask policy, but in my American city nobody was forced to be vaccinated or kept out of any business unless they would not follow basic rules. Rules which did no more harm to anyone than the requirement that men wear pants.
Seriously, anyone who compares the lightweight covid experience to the experience of Jews in NAZI Germany is a pussy who does not know what losing freedom is.
That B U
@k-chien
No one was forced to get vaccinated are you fucking kidding me?
How out of touch with reality are you?
I know many people fired for refusing the vaccine and I was told get it or unemployment and they were talking about with holding unemployment benefits for being terminated for vaccine refusal!
I don’t know anybody who was fired and neither do you. That was a hoax.
K-chien
If you listen to the 5 hours of Ron Johnson’s Senate hearing of a year ago (there is also an earlier 3-hour hearing devoted to vaxx victims – it’s called ‘Ron John’s Round Table’) you will find doctors and others who lost their jobs for refusal to get vaxxed.
youtube.com/watch?v=asw_FBipVpg
Thousands of care workers in the UK lost their jobs for vaxx refusal. NHS workers were threatened with being sacked. 120,000 of them held out and 40,000 of those gave in to keep their jobs. The remainder were demonstrating and the government relented (so a terrible shame for the 40,000 who took it and could have not had to). I suspect the government didn’t want 80,000 loose cannons shooting off their mouths about the terrible adverse reactions they were seeing in their patients.
Pilots were also laid off in the US. Now pilots are having ‘medical emergencies’ just before they are due to take off or just after they have. It’s only a matter of time before a plane comes down.
One British guy in a video of vaxx injured got jabbed because they threatened him with losing his job. Then he got a terrible vaxx injury and they wouldn’t keep him on. Unspeakable.
And bear in mind that (a) the vaxxes never stopped anyone getting infected or transmitting the disease, and (b) while we were being told the old folks were dying of covid (and the selfish care staff must get vaxxed to protect them), they were actually being put on end-off-life care, instead of being treated. They were starved, dehydrated, and euthanised with Midazolam and morphine. All behind closed doors.
K-Chien is the new Redneck Liberal.
What a fucking loon.
KChien I know people who were fired or threatened to be. It’s fact that the military forced the jab, there were articles written about how they not only were booted but lost their pensions.
You are divorced from reality and calling someone else a pussy is just hilarious from someone who went along with everything the overlords told you to do, including injuring yourself.
@k-chien
So the entire universe revolves around you huh?
Most people grow out of this phase by the late teens.
The ICC based its indictment on a report put out by a NGO supported by the US State Dept..
Its chief writer compares housing children in quarters safe from missiles to genocide.
It’s what the people who support nazis in Ukraine do- call regular people nazis.
The kids are Russian kids, taken from the Donbass to safety in Russia, with the permission of their parents.

Best synopsis I’ve seen in a while:
Republicans = 1 riot. (Jan 6, 2021)
Democrats = 574 riots. (Summer 2020)
Republicans condemn 575 riots. (ALL of them)
Democrats condemn 1 riot.
January 6, 2021 = 1 death (an unarmed female Trump supporter)
Summer of 2020 = 39 dead, 2000+ officers injured, $5 Billion in property damage
Actually there was more than one dead protestor on Jan 6. For example Roseanne Boyland was killed by the Capitol po po too.
Great breakdown, thanks!
But….
You simply MUST tack on the 2 insurrections in capitol buildings by Dems this past week: Tennessee and Kentucky.
One of them even had their own Shaman leading the charge! They can’t even be original.
Their Shaman was a satanist, with devil horns, of course.
Good times.
They are in control, with Garland in there, nothing will happen.
Actually, with the Deep State in control, nothing will happen. The Dems have won the battle of the Deep State and uniparty control is in place.
But, but what about the GOP winning the House in 2020? What change have you seen?
If Biden had any common sense he would immediately issue a full pardon to absolve Trump of any and all wrongdoing. This would be the best action of his presidency, and immediately propel Biden to higher ratings on the national stage like we’ve never seen before.
Could you imagine if this actually happened? By all rights, with Biden’s brain-dead dementia status, he might accidentally issue such a pardon!
It would be a good move by Biden.
Actually, Obama gave Bush a pass—let the past bury the past, etc. Although many wanted to haul Bush before a court of some kind for the illegal Iraq War.
But Obama let him go.
It is easy to forget how much Bush was reviled.
Until Obama turned out to be just as bad—but even more annoying with his “elegance” pose.
Biden can only pardon federal crimes.
It would take the New York governor to pardon state crimes.
If either did half of America would melt down into hysterics.
OG (the Regina Rebel) Hawkins, where are ye when we need ye, bro?
I know right, it makes you wonder since we never really got any closure. Did he die? Is he institutionalized? Was he arrested and locked away for a long sentence? Did he finally decide to simply go entirely off grid?
I am afraid we can only conjecture, and we will never truly know…..
I think the K-Man put an electric fence around this blog, patrolled by rangers with orders to shoot to kill. Yet I still sense him hov’ring o’er us at times…
We will probably see him at Mr. K’s post-apocalypse potlatch, sadly looking on from the roadway with l’il t.
And Rednut Libtard.
Don’t know if anyone has posted this already as my laptop won’t connect to the internet and I can’t bear to read all the comments on my phone …
globalresearch.ca/france-fire-fires-everywhere-who-behind-them/5814660
Suggestion that the fires in France might be less than organic. Also looks at events in Germany and elsewhere. Worth a look
Elsewhere Mark Crispin Miller lists multiple train derailments and asks if the leakage of hazardous materials into the environment will be used as a cover for vaxx cancers.
The mass chaos definitely is a cover for whatever stuff they are visiting upon us.
I was wondering if the French uprisings were organic. So few of the really sustained uprisings/protests actually are.
I’m just sitting here eating my popcorn.
The reality show playing here today is Trump’s arrest in NYC which has all sorts of press and people making big deals out it on social media.
I suppose this is the type of shit we get to watch as they destroy everything they can, until people turn away or put a stop to it.
The news here is all about Trump being arrested too(I only saw the trailer as I don’t watch the news). They don’t make even the slightest ham-fisted attempt at impartiality any more and people don’t seem to expect it. Although most of the dimwits don’t care that they’re being fed a narrative as long as they can see some Trump bashing.. Not that I even like the man, but I’d love to see him get the Bidens jailed.
The Trump stuff riles up the “sides” in a blatant attempt to start civil war. I’d say we’re getting close, because most people don’t get they are being manipulated (same ol’ same ol’).
Yeah, it’s a stupid circus. Trump bashing is stupid. He might be a puppet but so far there is nothing really bad on him or they’d have brought it up by now. You are correct, Biden is the one who should be in jail, along with Obama, Bush, etc.
hello Greenalba and Mary!
My take is that the push to normalize transgenderism and obesity is a way to provide cover for big ag and big pharma who produce all the estrogen mimics, and endocrine disruptors – substances like roundup, plastics, and birth control pills that are now in all the water, the food, and the air.
If the trend was examined as a malady, then they would be looking for a culprit.
So yes, the vax causes cancers, but so do the chemicals in spills. They won’t know who to blame as the victims drop like flies.
No doubt that is part of it – a cover for all the illnesses caused by environmental poisoning.
Actually the environment is full of prescription drugs. Every time someone pees who is on some chemical, some of it is going to end up somewhere in the environment.
I have seen statistics on this.
So, now, we have more and more trannies that are shot full of hormones, and some of the stuff is also ending up in the environment.
Medical pollution.
httpX://www.usgs.gov/special-topics/water-science-school/science/pharmaceuticals-water
“There is a growing concern about the occurrence of pharmaceuticals in water bodies and in drinking water. Pharmaceuticals get into the water supply via human excretion and by drugs being flushed down the toilet. You might think wastewater treatment plants would take care of the situation, but pharmaceuticals pass through water treatment.”
Talk about a contact high. How about a “contact transition”?
Actually, this pharma pollution might explain quite a lot that is going wrong in society, including the low sperm counts and early puberty onset (yes, both are occurring).
Maybe children have already been affected by drugs in their drinking water before they start to think they are Napoleon’s horse—-I mean, the opposite sex.
Thanks for the reminder of why I use my Berkey water filter. That thing filters out everything.
Why aren’t they arresting Fauci instead of Trump?!?!?!?
American justice is non-existent.
It’s all a show, cowbell81.
Good question!!!
Because Trump did the hump. One of the most expensive in history. One in a long line of bad business decisions.
Watching the fiasco in New York, it dawned on me that the grand jury process is a humongous weakness in the judicial system that can be manipulated so easily for political or other nefarious means to suit the desires of a fraudulent DA. The DA gets to pick the jury he needs to get somebody he does not like. When the situation is like the Libs trying to GET Trump, and they are in political control of the courts in an area, they can do pretty much what they want without penalty for falseness.
It reminds me of Congress with their incessant sets of investigations until they find something. These Libs are going to create investigations until one works. Also easy to do as the venues are usually in the back yard of the DA in charge. Trump will be hounded until one DA succeeds.
It is a Pelosi says with Grand Juries, you are guilty until proven innocent. Many times the politics convicts someone for totally BS charges.
Until a way to litigate against these DAs for fraudulent charge making, they hold full rein against anyone they do not like.
This is why Soros is investing millions into getting schlock DAs into the big cities, they control the jury system.
Easy: Find out where these DAs park their cars and do whatever is necessary. 😉
Actually I think Trump’s lawyer is filing a complaint for prosecutorial malfeasance (not the exact phrase).
With all the crap Soros has pulled over the years I am very surprised one of these countries he has almost ruined has not done something about him.
Looks like the clot shot actually did something right for a change!
Drag queen Heklina found dead in London
My favorite excerpt:
“I first saw Heklina perform at the Stud as a young gay guy in the 1990s,” tweeted State Sen. Scott Wiener. “I then had the honor of working with her to identify a space for Oasis. Her imprint on San Francisco was deep.”

Wiki
Poetaster /po??tæst?r/, like rhymester or versifier, is a derogatory term applied to bad or inferior poets. Specifically, poetaster has implications of unwarranted pretensions to artistic value. The word was coined in Latin by Erasmus in 1521. It was first used in English by Ben Jonson in his 1600 play Cynthia’s Revels; immediately afterwards Jonson chose it as the title of his 1601 play Poetaster.
At first I thought it might be a portmanteau anent Edgar Allen Poe, but no apparently. It is of impeccable lineage and provenance.
I asked Q to write about his experience of filling in the March madness brackets, but he desire to hug this bliss close to his breast, at least for now. It’s too personnel. Perhaps reserved for the coming Autobiography.
I’m reading Bishop Fulton Sheen’s magisterial “Life of Christ” as Easter reading. Shame on you if aren’t doing the same or similar or something.
At first I thought it might be a p
I was watching yesterday’s Monkey Werz and he mentioned that the US is training 5,000 Palestinian Authority troops in Jordan.
Say what? I had thought that the riots in Israel looked a lot like a Color Revolution already, but now it looks like they are going to release terrorist squads, the Israeli version of al Qaeda or ISIS.
So I looked it up and I found an article talking about the Color Revolution, and the training of the PAs.
”Thanks to phony corruption charges against Israel’s longest-serving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel has gone through five elections in three years, finally getting a stable conservative government again this year. Since the Israeli population is one of the few around the world to reliably vote for conservative, patriotic, right-wing parties, the Soros-funded Israeli left has no option other than to use foreign-funded NGOs and lawfare in the left-wing legal system to sabotage their country.
The Israeli Supreme Court has usurped the right to strike down democratically-ratified laws it finds “inappropriate”, to veto democratically elected ministers, and to nominate its own members in perpetuity. That is the reason why the top priority for the new Netanyahu government is to reform the legal system to be more like that in the US and other Western countries, where judges are appointed by the executive and ratified by parliament, and can only strike down laws that explicitly violate the Constitution. The reform enjoys broad support in Israel, since the Israeli populace has grown ever more right-wing, while the courts have veered ever further to the hard left.
The judicial reform would rob the Israeli and Soros left of their only tool in Israel. So naturally, they are going apeshit bonkers, threatening civil war, “Death to Netanyahu“, and calling for a violent coup. Last week, a crowd of 1000 radical leftists surrounded the Prime Minister’s wife Sarah Netanyahu at her hairdresser’s, where she had to be rescued by 300 policemen. Last week, radical leftists also demolished the offices of conservative think tank Kohelet and terrorized employees.”

Monkey also reported that Erdogan threatened to teach the US a lesson after a US delegate was found meeting with a rival of his in the upcoming election.
So Turkey and Israel, both supposed allies of the US, are receiving the regime change treatment.
The woman who blew up the Russian journalist in St. Petersburg is supposedly a supporter of Navalny, the dude who got less than 2% in the election. No doubt she got support from the US or UK in her terrorist plot, also.
Great info, Paula D. Thanks. Israel hasn’t even been much on my radar. This is really interesting.
I also have read that the woman who blew up the journalist was a pawn sent in by Ukraine intelligence, so no doubt the US is connected.
Jacob Dreizin has a different take on what is going on in Israel.
It is fairly long and I don’t think I can summarize it well.
But per JD, the bottom line is that in the absence o any real legislative representation in Israel, the “liberal left” has latched on to the courts as the last power base for them.
It is a more sociological kind of analysis than purely political.
Take a look. At theDreizinReport.com
I couldn’t find it. That blog is kind of a mess.
Great article, Mr K. Thank you.
We’ve come too far too fast and our brains are still wired for life the way it was thousands of years ago.
Fast forward to now, when besides nuclear war, we are threatened by AI.
Some of the younger generation have it right – not far from where we live is a primitive skills commune where most everything is made by hand, including fire. During one visit, we were asked if we would like a cup of tea. Sure! A long process began, starting with creation of fire. These kids are survivors – to see, check out wildroots primitive skills in a search. (Btw, I refuse to even say the G__g__ word much less use that search engine.)
“Finland is safer” – oh folly. You fools, your utter fools.
Haha, Putin will take care of that nasty little Finland problem, and Sweden while he is at it, once and for all!
Janos, the Finns I’ve met, even more morose and dour than the Canucks I lived among from 1970 ~ 1980, seem to be overwhelmed by the YIN environment they grew up in, a contrast to the many excitable, zany, violence-prone races living along the YANG equatorial tropics.
I’m surprised they manage to gin up enough energy to copulate and keep the race going. They’re not low on desire – they simply bottle it up, presumably against the cold. Of all kinds: a delegation of Iraqi refugees recently made a bloc decision to head back and take their chances in the Middle East. Simply could not abide the frosty, silent culture. Funny but sad.
One Finnish fellow here in Indonesia was the local rep for a Euro bearing manufacturer. He got involved with a wild girl from Bali – family had virtually kicked her out – and once married she pooped out a little fellow whom she wielded over his head for years thereafter, while she combed the clubs for other frisky foreign playmates.
An intelligent fellow and fellow motorcyclist, he simply did not know how to corral the lady – cultural chasm comes to mind. When his parents made the long, long trip from Helsinki to Indonesia to see their grandson, she beat it and was nowhere to be found. Bad juju.
I elaborate on this case study as a classic template of what happens when the westerner gets involved with a local woman, at least in East Asia. Rare that a marriage endures once the lust fades away, unless there are kids or business interests that force them to stay together.
It is interesting to see people hyperventilating over an imaginary Chinese invasion of California.
Apparently they have never been to California.
”The data released Thursday notes that 38.3 percent of Santa Clara County and 31.8 percent of Alameda County’s total population accounted for people of Asian backgrounds.”
.sfgate.com/news/article/Asian-population-bay-area-demographics-race-14026115.php
I (and most other Californians) noticed more and more Chinese people in California starting in the 90s, but I had no idea why until I read a feature article in the New Yorker, back before it went woke.
What happened was that George H. W. Bush, when he was president, set out a policy that any Chinese immigrant would be considered a refuge. This happened after the Tiananmen Square hoax of 1989.
According to the article, Chinese started arriving soon after, mostly by plane, but an enterprising woman found a way to make the big bucks. She rented ocean liners and filled them with paying customers by the thousands. Then the ships would anchor just off the shore of California and the Chinese would make their way to the shore, on their way to citizenship.
I guess now they are using the open southern border instead, but this started a long, long time ago.
China hasn’t even invaded Taiwan, even after paranoid Americans have been breathlessly announcing the imminent invasion for years. And the logistical supply chains to invade Taiwan are short.
Why would China invade a state in which they are already the biggest minority group, thousands of miles from their supply lines?
That makes no sense.
I think we should be more concerned about how much farmland of the US’s China has bought up.
Yeah, and how oddly suspicious it is that so much of this China-owned land is in close proximity to US Civil Defense stations.
Don’t forget all the farmland also being snatched up by old Billy Gates. He is planning to use it for insect protein farms.
As I said upthread somewhere, China sold far more to the US than the US sold to China.
That left them with beaucoop dollars and nowhere to put them, except for oil, so they bought Treasuries.
Then they figured out that there would be no return, so they turned to buying land, corporations and houses. They don’t just own a lot of houses in California, they own a lot in Vancouver as well.
But now they see that the US just steals anything of value from other countries, like Venezuela and Russia, so I think they are turning away completely from dealing with the USA.
Except for the ones who already live here. I don’t think they’re going anywhere.
The triads appear to be gripping a strong foothold in placid Vancouver-by-the-Void, according to multiple reports, along with Indian thuggee gangs.
Money launderer sitting in a Lower Mainland coffee shop was shot to death through a window a year or two ago. Somebody – likely a compatriot – was not pleased with the “exchange rate” he got, apparently.
The dour Canucks, not accustomed to frisky gunfire antics like their neighbors in the big bad banana republic to the south, are perplexed by all this. The smell of easy money may be souring.
A few sites are reporting that all Ukrainian resistance in Bakhmut has ceased; others are claiming Ukrainian formations are still holding out in the western part of town. It looks now like it is just a matter of time before this hard fought battle comes to an end … with Russia the victor. Also, Russia seems to be turning its gaze to Odessa on the Black Sea, yesterday launching a slew of cruise missiles at the port city from DDGs off the coast ~ once Odessa is captured Ukraine will be landlocked and pretty much out of business.
Folks, Ukraine is being wrecked. There isn’t going to be any spring offensive, & Ukraine doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of dislodging Russia from Crimea. It’s a delusion, but a dangerous delusion largely perpetrated by NATO & the West to keep the parties from coming to some sort of agreement that would end hostilities.
Funny how the coverage has all but dried up all of a sudden. But credit to the DC boys; Russia loses even when they win this thing. A large productive portion of what is essentially their country has become a hostile wasteland for generations to come, which is all DC ever aims to achieve in their many wars of imperial domination. Unfortunately, what goes around always comes back around, even though it’s rarely apparent at the time. Russians have very long memories.
They are following the Motorcade. The good times are back. Trump give them Meaning. They are nothing without the One whom they hate.
The Sanhedrin wants the Trial during the 2024 election. Of course! They got nuthin’ and they know it – but that won’t stop them and maybe even winning.
If the trial drags into the 2024 election season, I wonder if it would be considered free political advertising for Trump? Or would they have to give equal airtime to the Biden camp? If so, then charges should be brought against Biden so he can use it for the campaign!
The punks didn’t get the gag order on Trump.
They’re sunk!
Ha, that is great news!
I just read that there are 34 “felony” counts.
This may be one of the most hilarious explosions of narcissistic rage I have ever witnessed, either public or private.
I cannot even begin to imagine the levels of TDS that led to this.
😀
Ooooohhhhh, so scary, “felony”….hahah, I laugh in the face of this rotten American legal system. It is nothing but a sham. So if Trump is ruled a “convicted felon” will they take away his voting rights and restrict his right to possess firearms? lol
I just saw a clip of someone laying out a banner on the street that looks like it cost thousands of dollars to create. And it says “Trump Lies All the Time.” Really… as if all politicians don’t?
So hilarious. All that money and time spent, and that’s the slogan they came up with?
What an absolute shitshow.
Haha, what a joke. Soros probably funded the cost of making that banner. Yeah, and Biden is the most honest, truthful, upstanding President this country has ever known…. What world are these people living in? It is time to have a civil war already and take these people out, they certainly are not my fellow countrymen.
They are all in it together, cowbell81. I hate to say it, but you’re gonna be disappointed by Trump the Showman again.
It’s still stunning to me that people get the covid hoax but don’t get the Trump hoax.
Oh well.
Our primitive brain triggers circuits to interfere/moderate cognition (speech/action) that “it” senses to be imperiling – so to speak – to body politic inclusiveness.
Sounds familiar, right? This function evident in testimony of inability to martial even familiar/professional lexicon in situations where is sensed to be intractable acculturated bias.
Maybe that is why Biden had such a bad stutter all those years?
If I was Biden I would be really scared about being brought up on trumped up Federal charges the day after I leave the White House. But given his age, in all reality, he will probably die soon, or be deemed mentally incompetent.
Republican DAs across the land should be sharpening their knives for charges to be brought against the Biden clan as soon as January 21, 2025.
You amass and then you conn.
UMASS and UCONN…
They call it EDUCATION.
Go Huskies!
Speaking of being conned, did you see this?
“In addition to being the first new astronauts to fly to the moon since the Apollo 17 crew did so in 1972, Wiseman, Glover, Koch and Hansen will be the first to fly on the Orion spacecraft and Space Launch System (SLS) rocket. The two vehicles completed a successful uncrewed test flight in December 2022, leading to NASA moving forward with the Artemis 2 mission.”
“When they launch, Glover and Koch will become the first person of color and the first woman to lift off for the moon, respectively. Hansen, whose seat on Orion was arranged as part of a treaty between Canada and the U.S., will be the first non-American to leave Earth orbit and fly to the moon.”
Yep, gotta make the Moon more woke and diverse don’t you know…
“The man in the Moon” has gotta go!!
Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, tensions between the US and Russia are particularly strained here on Earth, prompting concerns that friction could inevitably spill over into the two countries’ longstanding partnership in space.
The U.S. Space Force is the newest and sixth branch of the U.S. military, established in December 2019 under Donald J. Trump.
I am a believer as long as Huntsville Alabama get it.
March 24, 2023 — U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.), the ranking member of the Homeland Security Subcommittee of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, today released a statement reiterating that Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, continues to be the best permanent location for the headquarters of U.S. Space Command to advance America’s vital national security interests.
Huntsville is very good at getting and staying on the government contract tit.
Big Concrete has a home in Huntsville. Since TVA days.
Los Alamos NM only exists to funnel Fed money into the local economy. It’s a glorified workfare project. Most if not all of the national labs work the same way.
What’s the use in tryin’?
All you get is pain
When I needed sunshine, I got rain
Ah, then I saw her face, now I’m a believer
Monkees
That mission has all kind of problems. There’s a question if the Orion will ever safely get off the ground, and if it does, whether or not the All Inclusive Crew will return alive.
Basically what this is is a F#kk Whitey Mission.
Unless they’ve dealt with all the intractable roadblocks that forced the last “lunar mission” to be faked (and they haven’t), this one will have to be too. Solar radiation shielding is simply too heavy, among a whole host of other crippling limitations.
The good news is that CGI video technology has advanced by leaps and bounds since 1969, so this production should be the best one ever! Plus they have all the CT critiques that have piled up over the years to assist them in making technical corrections. This one should be a doozey!
Bill Shatner is scheduled to reprise his role as Capt. Jamie T. Kirk, now a fully woke and trans’d semi-retired Starfleet Commander, who motors around the Orion craft in a specially designed Rascal Lunar Scooter with built in tail detection radar in search of erotic adventures with his newly installed psybernetic junk. He carries a sample of Spock’s, Bones’, and Scotty’s ashes in a specially designed locket around his neck, and he’s now delighted to chase members of all sexes, genders, races, and species across the galaxy in his eternal quest for truly cosmic orgasms.
Oh, this article. So typical. So, the shooter (Audrey Hale) not only wrote a manifesto (which someone cleverly mentioned is probably still being rewritten by the FBI), but also left a suicide note.
They also saw writings and other things for years talking about school shootings.
But police are baffled, BAFFLED as to why she shot up a school.

“They used to be so proud of being ruled by “the rule of law.” Have you noticed how this has now been replaced by a “rules based” system? Words make a difference. Changes in wording are seldom explained to the public, but there are always reasons for doing so.
What is the difference between laws and rules? Well, we now know, because the collapse of Credit Suisse has explained it to everyone. In agreeing to merge Credit Suisse with UBS, they broke at least three very important laws, with the excuse that if they had not done so, the bank would have collapsed the whole world.
The first law broken was that shareholders were not consulted first to see if they would agree to the UBS takeover. The second was that they waived all competing offers. The third was they gave undue preference to shareholders—who might salvage something by owning shares in the bank. The AT1 bondholders get nothing, even though their registered securities took precedence over the shareholders. These bondholders stand to lose about $18 billion.
So now we know what it means to be in a rules based system. Laws are the foundation of business and society in general. Rules are made to be broken. It is now clear that contracts have lost their underpinning and are at risk. No doubt, many bankers are nervous.”
Mammon worshipers worried – secular religion [ make it up as you go ] seeks a sacrificial victim while avoiding mirrors.
The old saw really is true: Laws were made to be broken. He who owns the judiciary (and everything else) makes the laws and the rules. Same old shuck and jive…
” Mammon worshipers worried – secular religion [ make it up as you go ] seeks a sacrificial victim while avoiding mirrors. ”
Perhaps now you begin to see why I used to get my panties in a twist , and occasionally still do , when people ridicule old school religion.
People thought secular humanism was just and only about cheeseburgers , ATV’s , and giving the occasional serial killer or rapist their just deserts . ( As if anyone less than a God would really comprehend what just is. )
But now increasingly folks are in the real school.
KesaAnna said, “…when people ridicule old school religion.”
I don’t tell people to quit attending worship services. I am asking people to ask more questions. Find out why you believe [ by-live ] what you believe.
“The unexamined life” refers to a life lived by rote under the rules of others without the subject ever examining whether or not he truly wants to live with those routines or rules. According to Socrates, this type of life was not worth living. Rather than living an unexamined life, Socrates chose death, and these words are attributed to the philosopher during one of his last speeches before his suicide.”
“If we would judge ourselves we would not be judged.”
In my experience, when you start asking questions [ instead of just warming a pew ] they will show you the door. This is when ridicule is earned.

” How long has Fukushima been leaking nuclear radiation? 13 years?
Shouldn’t we all be dead by now, and the ocean as well? ”
— MaryQeen
Coincidently just the other day I ran into a guy at a Catholic book store who was on the USS Ronald Reagan , but left just before the ship went to Fukushima.
He said now his former shipmates who did go to Fukishima are dropping left and right of aggressive cancers and Leukemia .
Granted , people drop dead every day , even young people , but it seemed to him a bizarrely high mortality rate for a bunch of 30 – year – olds.
Have you heard about any odd goings – on with the USS Ronald Reagan ?
Did you even know the US Navy sent an aircraft carrier to help out at Fukishima ?
Now I do not wish to exaggerate , or to freak anyone out ,
but one of my favorite conspiracy theories is that no government has ever really given us the strait dope on just how bad our several dozen nuclear disasters actually have been.
Indeed , if anything , the Russians have been incrementally more forthcoming on the subject than anyone.
For example , the strong impression I got from studying , 25 years ago , the Windscale incident in Britain ;
They should have put a hundred mile exclusion zone around Windscale.
But it’s the British Isles we are talking about.
A hundred mile exclusion zone would mean …… Cornwall and the Shetland Islands are the only places left for settlement ?
You don’t , strictly speaking , have a state – controlled press in the West .
But I agree with Alexsandyr Solzhenitsyn’s assessment laid out in his Harvard commencement address ;
You have a fair equivalence in fact .
And nuclear accidents are an example of it.
EVERYONE ;
The State ,
big buisiness ,
big military ,
a thousand and one professional crusaders and sinecured scholars , and even average Joes ,
( What average Joe wants to give up his relatively comfortable cottage in Cumbria and in two days move to a shoe box in Cornwall ? So , best to look on the bright side , even if there really isn’t a bright side. )
have a vested interest in downplaying these accidents as much as possible , and that’s exactly what they consistently do.
Not a state – controlled press in name , but a state – controlled press in motive , and hence in outcome.
Again , I don’t want to exagerate.
The real ugliness of nuclear accidents is one of the many reasons criticism of cigarette smoking annoys the shit out of me.
People have forgotten that 300 years ago exposure , and pneumonia , were the king killers.
Fully half of the population wound up taking a dirt nap on account of simple exposure , and colds that quickly became pneumonia.
The good news is that in Industrial society cancer is going to get you whether you smoke or not.
That’s progress.
I’m not at all surprised that people who were near the site got sick and died.
My point was more about the utter hypocrisy of the Green New Deal folks and the climate alarmist folks, who, of course, never mention Fukushima or other things that actually do pose a threat. And then of course, the over/underplay of Fukushima depending on political need of the time.
But smokers first (all other things being equal) because smoking is bad for you.
” The U.S. Space Force is the newest and sixth branch of the U.S. military, established in December 2019 under Donald J. Trump.
I am a believer as long as Huntsville Alabama get it. ”
Hey , John AZ is right about the ” Gimme’s ”
The thing is that today the military is a welfare program.
This is perhaps more clearly seen when you contrast it with the norms of 200 years ago.
In the reigns of George II and George III , same as in the days of Henry V , or Charles I ,
Disabled veterans could legally pan – handle.
” Brother can you spare a dime ? I was with Harry at Agincourt ! ”
That was your G I Bill in merry old England back in the day.
Education is now a welfare program.
Medicine is now a welfare program.
Criminal justice is a welfare program.
If you are agonizing over some trailer trash welfare mom , you are missing the Amazon Jungle for the tree.
I don’t think using enough fuel to fly an aircraft to the moon & back (238K miles each way) is a good example of “being green.”
Change my mind.
LOL.
Well, but just think, they’re dumping all that earth generated waste into the vast reaches of outer space, which doesn’t count. In other words, we’ve found a whole new environment to shit in, guilt free. Call it “going black,” and you know what they used to say about that? Once you go black, you never go back.
” The good news is that CGI video technology has advanced by leaps and bounds since 1969, so this production should be the best one ever! ”
Eh , like so much having to do with computers , yes , half the story is practically miraculous.
But the other half of the story is grossly over – blown.
I’m not so sure a thousand extras being paid a stipend of 15 dollars a day , and a dozen carpenters to make sets working on Union wage scales ,
versus three different outfits staffed with a dozen college educated graphic artists at perhaps greater than union wages ,
is necessarily much of a difference.
For example there’s — my opinion at least — of computer games.
Some games really are ground – breaking I think when compared to Avalon Hill or paper Dungeons & Dragons of yesteryear .
—- But those games , typically , are not great because of the graphics . Typically the graphics in those games are two or even three generations past date.
Typically the games that really do have great graphics ?
Those games typically are just Pac Man re – packaged.
Sure they can dump a fortune in graphics , BECAUSE the template is 50 years old , and the script is flat moronic.
Avalon Hill! Nice throwback reference. Were you a player?
Charles F. Dunnigan , a founder of Avalon Hill , said that at least three out of four of their customers purchased the game , read the fifty page rule book , even set the game up on a dining room table , and then —– and then nothing.
The first problem might be that while you may be an over – educated nerd , it doesn’t necessarily follow that you have the means to sacrifice a dining room table to a hobby.
Another big problem is that even if you can sacrifice a dining room table , finding someone who can and will sacrifice three full weekends in a row , to fifty page rule books and ten different fire effects tables , is easier said than done.
Paper war games grew out of toy soldier war games. Many , many , many people likewise collect toy soldiers , but never play the war games the toy soldiers were designed for.
I actually , in fact , lived in a neighborhood where such things were popular , when I came to America .
But the fast – track – to – college crowd were not keen on hanging out with a girl who said that the United States was no less a totalitarian society than was East Germany.
I still have ” 1776 ” and ” Jutland ” in storage somewhere though.
“But the fast – track – to – college crowd were not keen on hanging out with a girl who said that the United States was no less a totalitarian society than was East Germany”
Kesa,
I’m suprised you would hold that opinion. Men, to get into a woman’s pants, will believe anything.
Permit me an observation…At the college age,any disparate thought might be seen only as a thought attached to a vagina.
I would also suggest that, if vaginas did not exist, church attendance would plumet.
,,,But I could be wrong…..
Salient point E., and it hits home. Back in my college days I was getting to know this Swedish coed, her father was a movie director working out of NYC ~ She had legs up to here, long blond hair, and spoke with a delightful accent. She was down for the causes of the day: anti nuke (wow, what a coincidence, I was anti nuke too. Apartheid in SAfrica, oh God yes apartheid needs to be smashed!) At one point I even got on a bus with her and many others to attend an anti apartheid/racism rally on the New Haven Green sponsored by Yale! What I remember about it is a bunch of dudes with ponytaiIs and slipping away to a New Haven bar. I even went to a few anti nuke events! I was making some pretty good headway but alas she moved back to Sweden with her mom.
Commander Rockwell was married to the Swedish ambassador’s daughter. She grew disenchanted with his notoriety and went back to Sweden with the kids.
A journalist asked the flamboyant Rockwell (the son of carnies) whether he was serious about all that race nonsense. He replied, I gave up the most beautiful woman in the world for this. Yes, I am serious.
I had Avalon Hill board games as a kid. Set up on a card table in my corner of the living room. Had to play both sides by myself.
With the advent of AI, I can finally play against a skilled opponent, except that I now consider playing games a waste of valuable time. But if you’re into sleep-deprivation experiments, I find nothing beats a good strategy game.
Hey Kesa, wanna play Hearts of Iron?
” In my experience, when you start asking questions [ instead of just warming a pew ] they will show you the door. This is when ridicule is earned. ”
Believe it or not , ruminations on Witch Hunts are one of the reasons why I wound up warming a pew.
To begin with , the infamous Spanish Inquisition was a Spanish State show , with the Catholic King of Spain telling Rome ninety – nine times out of a hundred to go hang.
For another , the known incidence of witch trials prior to the Protestant Reformation , when everyone became their own Pope ,
was about THREE OR FOUR PER CENTURY.
Just as the Age of Liberty , Equality , and Fraternity was inaugurated with guillotines ,
so Witch Hunts were not characteristic of the moldy old Middle Ages with its whore master Bishops.
No , the Witch Hunts were characteristic of the dawn of the age of reason . ( so – called. )
But , anyway , the motive behind hanging or burning all these old hags and the eccentric crank next door ,
was to save souls for paradise.
Was that sincere ?
Actually , I have my doubts.
It looks more like garden variety sadism and a prurient morbid taste , than it looks like any kind of principle.
But , at least , such was the claimed motive.
In contrast , when an Atheist builds a poisonous – as – hell nuclear weapon , never mind if it is ever used ,
or shoves folks into a gas chamber as fast as they can go ,
what’s the game plan ?
Paradise on Earth ?
I have my doubts about that motive , too.
But , in any case , it stands to reason that any paradise on earth you create will be only temporary.
And the Las Vegas – odds are that you will never live to see it anyway.
On that score , it seems to me that it hardly matters whether the Communists and the Nazis were right or wrong.
IF THEY HAD BEEN RIGHT , again , it stands to reason that our true – believing Chekist or Totenkampfverband is never going to see that beautiful day .
All they will see is 6 year old and 60 year old corpses in ditches.
In my view , even the Aztecs , with their skull racks and suits made out of human skin ,
appears as fluffy bunny fair in comparison to much of what passes as reasonable now.
“Bad companions corrupt good morals.”
I share your doubts. Lutherans used to believe in the priesthood of the believer.

Dear JHK Admin,
“Europe’s industrial economy is toast without affordable Russian natgas. … A year or so from now, nobody in Europe will have enough money .” I want to point out that you made a similar prediction for this past winter and that did not pan out. So, why should we have confidence in this latest prediction? Europeans continue to diversify away from Russian gas and oil. In fact, I would be interested in the statistics on the share of Russian gas in Europe’s energy budget right now–it is falling. Any stats on that? Second, European, US, and allied embargoes/price cap on Russian oil is having a major impact on Russian oil exports. True they are selling oil to China, India, et al, but they are averaging around $40 less a barrel than Brent crude. According to CREA, they are losing EU160 million per DAY in lost revenue. If you think America is hurting supplying Ukraine with billions of dollars of armaments, what must it be like on the Russian side with less revenue coming in? Not good, but that information does not fit with your preferred narrative nor that of others who agree with you… There are clear reasons why Russia is feeling the pinch in being able to conduct war on the scale it wants to and why the initiative in the war is about to shift to the Ukrainian side–as Russian millbloggers are predicting.
“It’s about antagonizing Russia no matter how many dead Ukrainians it takes, because US officials developed a delusional psychosis about Russia after years of using it to mind-fuck American citizens, and our folks-in-charge have to justify that antagonism by pretending we have vested interests in Ukraine, which we don’t, by the way.” So, Finland is delusional? So is Poland and Sweden, et al, in your mind? OK. Well they share the same mass psychosis where Russia is concerned, according to your line of thinking. Alternatively, you could see the consensus on the European side of things as a sign that a number of countries share the same viewpoint as the Americans, coming to this shared view via different routes and historical conditioning. They are in agreement–Russia is being expansionist AGAIN, and this needs to be stopped. Today Ukraine, tomorrow Belarus, and Poland, and, Moldava, and …And we know this because there are plenty of ultra nationalist in Russia who make no secret of this agenda to “Make Russia Great Again!” And yes, the US has a vested interest in a subdued Russia not making mischief.
As for Mr. Trump? Let us see how this plays out. There are FOUR serious criminal investigations into Mr. Trump’s activities. And it is possible that he will lack the internal discipline to keep his mouth shut, and EARN a gag order, especially if he calls for violence. It might work out the way you think, JHK Admin. Then again, perhaps not. And if he is convicted, will you say that he was railroaded or will you acknowledge that Mr. Trump could in fact have been acting in a criminal manner? After all, his accountant; his company; his employees… all guilty of criminal misconduct? So, why so outraged that he himself is facing criminal charges? Hey, look on the bright side, at least he hasn’t been charged with war crimes and having an outstanding arrest warrant on those charges, like Vlad Putin!
Crapshoot
WRT your first paragraph regarding money or more specifically, currencies, what seems to be happening is that countries– say, the main economic players– are in the process of untangling financial obligations (and by implication, ultimately much long-distance trade obligations), including WRT the petrodollar, and in the interest of depegging theirs from it, and more relocalize their currencies and economies.
No one really knows everything about everything, so people like myself, you and ‘JHK Admin’ are just taking stabs based on our own feel of things and what we know and think we know or might know and so on. It’s kind of like educated crap-shooting I guess, and perhaps crap-shooting can mean more than one thing haha.
“Shoot the shit appears to be a variation of shoot the breeze. Both of these expressions mean ‘to chat idly just to pass the time’. A form of shoot the breeze is recorded in a poem written during World War I by a US private, who described his corporals as sociable men who were much better at ‘breeze-shooting’ than fighting or doing actual work. It doesn’t require much skill or effort to hit the wind with a gun, so the expression goes.
Shoot the shit emerges in the 1940s, notably found in a letter by the author Norman Mailer. The shit, here, may be a more intensive and alliterative substitute for breeze, with shit meaning ‘stuff’, i.e., any old topic. Ever the shit-talker, the character Holden Caulfield used a milder take on the expression, shoot the crap, in J.D. Salinger’s 1951 The Catcher in the Rye.” ~ Dictionary dot com
I can accept that claim. I can be wrong The Man They Call Zazelle. JHK Admin cannot admit of being wrong. As many here have difficulty. Point out wrong claims and you get told, “Oh, that is old (2 – 3 years old) and not relevant anymore” by quite a number. Example? Sidney Powell and the “Awakening Kraken.” The “Election was Stolen”, etc. And we know that these claims are BS. We have the Big Cheerleader, FOX “News” telling us things that were known to be false, because particular constituencies that supported Murdoch’s bottom line needed to hear them. Even if the people at FOX KNEW they were BS. The Stolen ballots, etc, was also BS. And we know, because once it got to the courts, it evaporated… zilch evidence of extensive and organized election theft.
But it is “old news” and not “relevant” anymore.
So, I will push back about the claim that all it might be is “shooting the shit.” That implies frivolity and passing the time idly. That is not what was and is happening in places like FOX and the right wing media. This was purposeful and had an aim–to undermine the stability of the Republic. That is not “shooting the breeze” in my opinion.

Ritter contends that Finland was “foolish”, and he also counters many of your claims.
You care to refute his claims, and elaborate on your perspective?

You know, TPTB-USA, this is the same Ritter who predicted Ukraine’s imminent collapse in a Russian cauldron of fire before Ukraine launched its successful 2022 offensive. He does not have a good track record in prediction. I will check out the link.
Hi TPTB-USA,
I remember Ritter back in the day when he was one of the first people to be very clear that our decision to invade Iraq was based on false premises and that there were NO WMDs. He was right there–the evidence backed him.
This also the same guy who said that the people killed in Bucha were done so, at the hands of the Ukrainian Police. If you believe that, check out the NY Times careful investigation of Bucha with its painstaking timeline reconstruction using cell phone data, eyewitness accounts, and video.
So, he is a mixed bag, but clearly not unaligned in this conflict.
One thing that is an absolute red flag for me from an ex-Marine Officer: at 3.00min in: “Right now we have 80,000 Ukrainians committed to this fight … and Zelensky is saying … that when they lose this battle … they will lose 80,000 men… There will be no counter-attack because …’ well you get the idea.
Well, in a word, this would make sense if the Ukrainians allow themselves to push 80000 men into a pocket that cannot hold that many OR require the Russians–an exhausted force by the way to do something they have not done since the first months of the war–namely break Ukrainian lines on a wide front and return to a mobile war of double envelopment. Only one power has done mobile warfare after the initially stalled Russian offensive–Ukraine. The Ukrainians look willing to gibe Bakhmut up to preserve its forces. The Russian millbloggers are freaking out about the coming Ukrainian offensive; what does Ritter know that they do not?
So, why should you believe Ritter, TPTB-USA?
Irony alert: I think that Verdun is a better example than Stalingrad. But you better hope Ritter is WRONG about that. Why? Because the aggressor in that battle got sucked into a salient while the defender gathered a large counter-offensive forces and cut off the loser in Stalingrad, and ground them out. Look at the map–that envelopment looks like the map at Stalingrad… This is dangerous for the Russians–that is a big salient, don’t you think? I don’t think the Ukrainians are looking to do a reverse Stalingrad. But the fact that Ritter discounts this as well as makes a totally bullshit statement that requires the Ukrainians to sit rather than withdraw to save t
