Historians of the future, boiling acorns over their campfires, will wonder that amidst all the global strife of the 2020s, Americans barely noticed that the US government went to war on its own citizens. Was there something in the water — or, more specifically, in the Pepsi Cola? Or did those “vaccines,” which were so popular as an emblem of their obedience to The Science, turn their brains into something like an Oreo McFlurry? However it happened, said citizens marched themselves ardently into the VAERS database to receive gold stars on their vaxx passports thinking: jabs will make us free!

Speaking of The Science, the nation learned this week, via a strangely staged colloquy between Senator Marco Rubio and Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, that contra to official denials days before, our government was indeed running quite a few — I believe the actual number was 29 — science projects in the foreign land called Ukraine, discovered in the course of Russian military operations there. Loose talk about “bioweapons labs” was efficiently quashed by Ms. Nuland, who styled the work as an inventory of “biological research materials.” These included such science-y playthings as ebola, bubonic plague, anthrax, and sundry viral curiosities of nature. It looked like she was trying to get ahead of the story, as they say in the agit-prop industry.

Speaking of Russia and agit-prop, that’s all we hear on the air-waves, the cable channels, and the webstreams. “Russia, Russia, Russia.” And “Putin, Putin, Putin.” American news reporters must be living in Vladimir Putin’s head because they are so adept at reading his thoughts. Putin thinks this, Putin thinks that, they declare so brashly. They are all so sure of Mr. Putin’s every thought that Mr. Putin must have to check-in with American news media to find out exactly what he’s thinking. Lately, according to CNN, The New York Times, and the rest of the gang, Mr. Putin — or maybe it’s The Putin, as in The Science — is thinking of gobbling up all the other quaint little countries at Russia’s border like so many tater tots.

For your consideration: is it possible that Russian intel knew a little something about those Ukraine labs before February 24, 2022, and became concerned that another concocted freak-of-nature pestilence might get loose there on the Eurasian frontier? And you must wonder: America saw Russian troops mustering along Ukraine’s border for many weeks before their dastardly operations got underway, and yet nobody in those bio-labs thought to maybe stuff their bio-playthings in the incinerator? Weird, little bit. But, notice, of-a-piece with the sloppy-ass way that the US has handled the entire Covid-19 fiasco: a Chinese fire-drill inside a clusterfuck garnished with the rankest dishonesty from start to finish.

And to what purpose, after all? The cartoon character Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum crowed repeatedly about what a fine opportunity Covid-19 was to smash the operating system of Western Civ in order to Build Back Better: a new system in which the zombified masses would have nothing and be happy — at least for the weeks and months they remained in the earthly plane of existence before the “vaccines” they were induced to take infarcted their livers and lights, finally carrying them off to sprout wings and receive their issued harps and halos in cloud-land. And then Herr Schwab and his tiny band of ubermenschen would be free to enjoy their transhuman nirvana free of the swine-like multitudes previously cluttering up the planet.

Yes, life in the early twenty-first century looks more and more like a bad horror movie. And now the critics are moving in, savaging the production. “A massive murderous fraud,” many are saying of the Covid-19 extravaganza, and the audience, once back out in the blinding, clarifying daylight, are saying to themselves, Yeah, kinda seems like it was. Fraud vitiates liability protection. It is a well-known principle among the artisans of law. Moderna stock is down 70 percent and Pfizer more than 20. Wall Street has sniffed out a motherlode of rot, according to Mr. Edward Dowd, BlackRock investment advisor emeritus, who is saying it loudly over the alt-streams, making a whole lot of public health officials and doctors nervous as roaches when the lights flash on. Mom impersonator Rochelle Walensky, chief of the CDC, has concealed much dire information about the number of “vaccine” injuries and fatalities of the past year, while still importuning everybody to vaxx-up and boost-up, knowing they might be harmed by it. Does she just skate on that? And then, of course, there is Dr. Fauci, missing in action lately. (Anybody look for him down in Paraguay?) The clock is ticking on when the millions of lawsuits might commence along with prosecutions for crimes against humanity.

Cue “Joe Biden,” then, to crash the global economy and give folks other things to think about — like, how am I going to keep driving sixty miles each way to work with gasoline at $8 a gallon? How, indeed, is anything like an advanced economy going to stagger forward now that nobody in the world will sell each other anything? Well, it probably just won’t. All that’s left is the sound of money being shot out of cannons, and nobody seems to notice that it gets shredded in the process. America has gazed into the abyss and apparently decided to sign a lease and move in.

Mr. Kunstlers’ sage writings continue to presage that which is here, that which is coming, and the most effective path forward.

    • Paul Ford O'Neil March 11, 2022 at 10:45 am #

      Hello from Central Europe CFers,

I suspect ya’ll may be ready to read about the “most effective path forward.”

But first a summation of where we are before we can get undrr way:

      Carry-on til you are carrion!

      • Beryl of Oyl March 11, 2022 at 11:59 am #

        Good article.

        • JTinMD March 12, 2022 at 7:03 am #

I read the article on your recommendation, Beryl, and I agree. Good article. Then I explored her site and read some more. Von Reitz makes many interesting points, but the heavy seasoning with religious principles turned me off, as it nearly always does. Many of us here swim easily with that current, even if unreligious ourselves. And if that current helps get us to our aspirations, well, it feels justified. But, is it really?

          • Paul Ford O'Neil March 12, 2022 at 7:23 am #

Yes, I agree that heavy religious overtones are off-putting.

SO, I simply embrace the Gospa perspective which includes everybody:

“Members of all religions are equal before God.”

Anna is a Lutheran of the Roman Catholic Hapsburg Clan. I am a Roman Catholic of the Royal O’Neil Clan. YET, most of our world perspectives intersect precisely.

May I encourage you and all CFers to study Anna’s research on the ‘way forward – back to a true constitutional republic, not just for Americans, but the world.

After peaking at a little over two dollars, the average price of gas in southern Ontario went down to $1.80 a liter. if there are 3.785 litres in a standard American gallon, that works out to close to six bucks a gallon. And southern Ontario, like most of North America, is highly car dependent, even in the Greater Toronto Area, where all levels of government are investing billions in new subway lines and light rail. Last time I checked it was $3.50, a bargain and one that Canadians would normally take advantage of except the Great Dictator/Oaf Justin Trudeau won’t let us cross the border without taking a covid test before we get back. This has been a disaster for the Windsor/Essex region which now boasts Canada’s highest unemployment rate.

Biden-NATO’s economic moves serve to solidify the Russian nationalistic fervor and support of Putin.

Biden’s stupid campaign rhetoric threatening hydrocarbon producers and lenders with criminal prosecution results in little effort to explore and drill.

Fringe commoners spring into revolt over oppressive inflation.

The Shakespearean tragic-comedy-horror dystopian Pavlovian reality show is best viewed, while taking a break from gathering freshly-laid chicken eggs and gathering greenhouse vegetables.

Last week I was worried about Putin launching nukes. This week, I’m worried that it will be us. It’s clear at this point that there’s nothing the home team won’t’ do, even if it means vaporizing the planet.

    • Disaffected March 11, 2022 at 10:13 am #

I continue to look for a US false flag nuke event right here at home to kick off the festivities. Wonder which red state metroplex will win the lottery? My money’s on Colorado Springs/Denver area (Cheyenne Mountain Complex), Omaha (Offutt AFB), or Kansas City (Whiteman AFB nearby), in that order.

      • bluedog March 11, 2022 at 10:44 am #

How about Washington D.C. that would sure save a lot of trouble and solve many problems in fact make it a big one for congress is of no value and haven’t been for generations, but it seems the people never noticed because they send the same old dogs back again and again and will do so in the coming midterm elections.

        • Beryl of Oyl March 11, 2022 at 12:10 pm #

“How about Washington D.C.” How about an underwater nuke of uncertain provenance exploding in Chesapeake Bay a few miles downstream from that wretched hive of scum and villainy?

        • JTinMD March 12, 2022 at 7:10 am #

they send the same old dogs back again and again

OK, bomb them to hell, but they’ll be back immediately, a la Mr K’s roaches. Not dogs, blue dog. ROACHES.

Whitman AFB is the front runner on your list. Maybe somewhere in Texas. Definitely not the Rockies, too many billionaires. Although something 15km offshore Long Beach would also be interesting with all those bases and dense population.

        • CrusherMuldoon March 11, 2022 at 12:25 pm #

          Dyess AFB, TexaS

      • elysianfield March 11, 2022 at 11:21 am #

        Offutt AFB.

Dad was stationed there in 1961. Cheyanne complex is base of NORAD, and in the days of Missiles, of secondary importance. Offutt, however, still is the head of what became of the Strategic Air Command, which controls two legs of the Nuclear Triad.

I actually was allowed, with escort, to enter the third level of the underground command center…watched as t he SAC controller did a global security check, and I SAW THE BIG BOARD…yes, there really is one, but was curtained at the time I was there.

I was 14. The country was arguably at the height of empire.

        • Disaffected March 11, 2022 at 11:50 am #

Impressive! My hometown is Omaha, but I never got into the bowels at Offutt. Yes, Omaha would be a very likely city. Not of MAJOR importance to the globalist glitterati (other than Buffet, but he’d probably be notified ahead of time), but big enough to get everyone’s attention. And because of Offutt, it’s “explainable” as a likely Russian target.

          • tresho March 11, 2022 at 5:42 pm #

“it’s “explainable” as a likely Russian target” Worse would be a nuke going off near some UN-likely target that has little or nothing to do with the current uproar in Ukraine. Given the fact that our vaunted intelligence community in 1962 had no idea the Soviet subs our Navy was attacking in the Caribbean during the Cuban Missile crisis had nuclear torpedoes on board with local commanders fully authorized to launch them, is something our “top men” prefer to ignore, perpetually.

In fact, I think it is a war crime.

      • CyberPass March 13, 2022 at 8:33 pm #

Someone should educate Lindsay Graham and others of his ilk re The Church Committee, which in the wake of JFK’s assassination came out strongly against state-sponsored assassination, it having been felt at the time that Fidel Castro, who had endured more than one CIA-sponsored attempt open his life, may have been behind it. And this was codified by Congress.
But Might Makes Right is today’s operative ethos: the U.S.’ John Donaghue, for example sits on the U.N. World Court, which arrested and placed Serbia’s Slobodan Miloševi? on trial for war crimes, but George Bush rammed through legislation which grants immunity to members of the U.S. armed forces.

I don’t see it either. VERY hard to organize from the bottom up. Especially when you’re opponent is already well organized and in complete control. The masses for the most part don’t even agree on who the enemy is.

      • tresho March 11, 2022 at 5:44 pm #

from your source “Any aggression from this point on will be met with annihilation of the aggressor.” That is about the same “cure” as stopping a barroom brawl with flamethrowers and hand grenades.

      • JTinMD March 12, 2022 at 8:55 am #

From your lovely blog post, “Imagine the renaissance that could occur if some alien race visited us and laid down the law: “Stop military spending immediately and use that money to improve the lives of your citizens. Any aggression from this point on will be met with annihilation of the aggressor.”

Great point on the labs James, just saw an interesting video on it myself this morning:

Note that Rubio asks the sellout if she thinks the Ruskies would release weapons on the Ukrainians and blame it on the Ukrainians and of course she said yes. In a world where inference and innuendo have replaced fact and evidence, anything goes and nothing really matters. We are in serious trouble people.

    • E. H. Hail March 11, 2022 at 10:25 am #

In what world would a country that sees itself liberating its brother-nation, use chemical or biological weapons?

Chinese State Media has been telling the good citizens of China that Covid 19 was a product of the US military. What happens when China declares sanctions against the US and decides that it will not do any business with any nation that does business with the US. Then what?

I can only guess that the US will begin threatening everyone, including its own citizens with nuclear weapons.

    Fun times indeed.

    • Disaffected March 11, 2022 at 10:20 am #

Yes indeed. Rather than holding elections in 2022 and 2024, I think we’d be better advised to call in some serious Pest Control services. We have a deadly globalist infestation in DC and NYC. At some point we’re going to have to take control of this situation.

    • E. H. Hail March 11, 2022 at 10:31 am #

China also says the Hong Kong protests of 2019 were a US “color revolution” attempt, which patriotic citizens gloriously put down. Their state media celebrate that the so-called troublemakers (protestors) failed in their so-called coup attempt against the rightful Communist Party government of Hong Kong.

It all makes one feel dirty listening to. The “Covid was released on patriotic and noble Chinese by evil and genocidal yankees” is even weaker and even less plausible than the spin they put on the suppression of Hong Kong.

If ordinary PRC-Chinese ‘buy’ their hamfisted state-media lines, I pity them; a life led like that seems beneath the dignity of a human being.

      • D from OR March 11, 2022 at 10:46 am #

“Covid was released on patriotic and noble Chinese by evil and genocidal yankees”

Sounds about right. The labs in China were our labs not theirs.

Rinse and repeat Ukraine. The Satanic Cabal slithering around throughout Western governments have zero imagination so were just going to do the same thing. Release a bio-weapon and blame Russia.

Ordinary US Citizens buying the hamfisted state-media lines, I pity them as well. Don’t you? Or are you suggesting it doesn’t happen here?

      • messianicdruid March 11, 2022 at 10:57 am #

      • Jarek March 11, 2022 at 12:25 pm #

Well it certainly had all the earmarks of a Color Revolution: antifa, Western advisors, mass Western media coverage, etc. Not that I blame the Hong Kongers for not wanting to give up a Western type government of course. Like us, they want to focus on making money and getting rich without anyone or anything getting in their way. That leads to nothing good of course, namely becoming like us.

      • Jo-G March 11, 2022 at 3:59 pm #

As the people here with minimal English skills would say- “Same-Same”.

        • wokethis March 12, 2022 at 10:19 pm #

I actually think that “same same” is an adequate and accruate descriptor…

      • Not_GeorgeT March 11, 2022 at 4:29 pm #

Recalling the incidents, it did have the markings of a color revolution with NGOs involved in some capacity. Still, from memory, one large issue was creating and enforcing extradition to be ‘tried’ on the mainland. An entirely different system than the developed legal system in HK as a former British colony and a legit issue.

I think there’s more to come regarding how SARS-CoV-19 came to be and how it was released.

Perhaps the Russian military be filling in a few blanks as time passes.

      • Paula D March 11, 2022 at 4:37 pm #

Have you seen the videos of the “protests”?
They make the BLM riots look tame.
And SARS 2 was most likely released from Ft Dietrick in July 2019 and taken to Wuhan in the Wuhan Military Games by US soldiers, four of whom were hospitalized in Wuhan with an unknown respiratory virus in November 2019.
And the “protests” were not about their government, per se, they were protesting an extradition bill.
A Hong Kong man and his pregnant girlfriend had gone to Taiwan. He killed her there, chopped up her body and put it in a case, then went back to Hong Kong.
Hong Kong does not have an extradition treaty with Taiwan, so the man went free. The legislature introduced a bill to remedy that problem.
It shows the power of the media that Americans can look at violent rioters smashing businesses, beating an elderly man to death with a brick, taking over the airport, etc., all in defense of a violent woman murderer….and wax eloquent about ”freedom” for those oppressed Hong Kongers.

        • Paula D March 11, 2022 at 4:40 pm #

And then to think that supporting woman murderers when the media tells you to makes you somehow “dignified”.
          That part is actually hilarious.

        • Not_GeorgeT March 11, 2022 at 7:15 pm #

I was working from memory. I knew Taiwan was in the mix, but could not recall why. Thanks.

At the time I read about it through SCMP, back when I was reading it on a regular basis.

What you’re highlighting is likely, from memory, how I came across the NGOs.

I read about SARs-Cov-2 there first, part of the story concerning Dr. Li Wenliang and the way he was ‘treated’.

          • Paula D March 12, 2022 at 4:00 pm #

I was working from memory also and after I posted I thought “DId he chop her up or just shove her into the case? Did I get it mixed up with the Khasoggi story?”
Yeah, for sure the NGOs and also the State Dept, just like the Maiden.
There was a YouTube video out for a while showing a white man directing the “protesters” down the street. Also one with a meeting between the “protesters” and State Dept officials.
I’m not familiar with Dr. Li Wenliang or what happened to him.

It’s all NIMBY Paula, (NotInMyBackYard), if it doesn’t happen to them, they do not care and consider it all “entertainment”. It is what happens when an entire society stops giving a shit about anyone but themselves and loses all empathy for others. It was hoisted upon our society as described in “Screwtape Gives a Toast” by CS Lewis way back in 1959…..

      • E. H. Hail March 11, 2022 at 7:57 pm #

RE: Those of you half-endorsing or non-rejecting the PRC state-media line that the Hong Kong protests were possibly a “color revolution”:

Recall that the status quo was of Hong Kong having a functional, independent, non-Communist (non-CCP) government, with its own freedom guarantees for (e.g.) Internet access, freedom of speech, of assembly, of economic activity, of travel, and a long list of other British-inherited traditions. This was the status quo (now eliminated).

The PRC had sworn up and down, and given written guarantees when the British handover occurred, of NO annexation until 2049. And then they grabbed Hong Kong anyway, attempted through deceitful means (a kind of “color revolution from the top,” machinations from Beijing, followed by armed force) and Hong Kong was thus crushed.

It was a moral betrayal by the PRC, and a disturbing sign of how a now-rich PRC wants to operate in the world.

But the critical thing is, the agent or actor attempting a radical change of status-quo was not the hundreds of thousands of Hong Kong protestors but the PRC and its intelligence services and media and police forces and all the arms of the state.

They didn’t need to crush and annex Hong Kong (by annex, I mean eliminate its independent government and crush those loyal to it). The people basically defending the status quo were the protestors. This basic framework does not fit the “color revolution” line, or, if it does, it seems to loosely fit the PRC better, as the actor attempting a sweeping regime change.

Off all the big “state-medias” out there, one ought to perhaps be most cautious about the PRC’s.

        • Not_GeorgeT March 11, 2022 at 11:05 pm #

Could the NGOs have operated as agents of the PRC (CCP)?

This muddies the water. Clarity (along with truth) rapidly leave the scene, a forced exit.

          • Paula D March 12, 2022 at 4:12 pm #

Why would the PRC want to destabilize Hong Kong?
            Cui bono?

You are making shit up. Actually, I assume that you are just channeling shit someone else made up and fed to you.
The extradition treaty had nothing to do with your list of supposed “democracy” traditions. (And at this point, any American spouting any tripe about ”democracy” should be ignored or ridiculed).
There was no change in the One Country Two Systems agreement, you are spouting lies.
There was no invasion by Bejing, you are spouting more lies. The entire thing was handled (most citizens thought mishandled because they let the rioters rampage for months) by Hong Kong authorities.
Hong Kong had no “democracy” under British rule, you are spouting more lies.
Most Americans who pay attention and have more than two brain cells can at this point recognize a Color Revolution when they see one.

The constitution of the United States simply doesn’t allow us to defend Ukraine or any NATO country for that matter. See Art 8, Section 8.

If we would obey our constitution we might not be forever involved in all this monkey business in the first place.

Did you know that a place called “North Macedonia” is in NATO? Americans are obligated to die for that place if they get into an argument with South Macedonia.

Compared to Lincoln, Barry the Kenyan’s adherence to the Constitution was exemplary.

          • Not_GeorgeT March 11, 2022 at 8:03 pm #

Although this could seem like a detour, revisiting Lincoln might be a good idea.

Lincoln suspended Habeas Corpus in 1863. Similarities to the detention of the people imprisoned on or about January 6, 2020?

Prior to this, he created an army and invaded the Confederate States of America, who seceded over states rights issues. This represented a Constitutional Crisis settled by force of arms, not through the courts.

In this regard, who knows what the future holds in this particular arena………..

Missouri was rather unmanageable, suffering a constitutional crisis at the state level, confiscation of private property by the US government, a partial emancipation of slaves (loyal to the Union? you can keep your slaves), guerrilla warfare, burning of towns by the US military,….. this just scratches the surface.

I’m not in any way implying the situation was non-complex. Lots of moving parts happening here.

Kinda like today in some ways.

While I’m at it, what was happening in Ukraine in the 1860s?

From what what I can determine, the people there at the time were still debating what to call the territory, having ‘Rus’ still in use, and eventually deciding to use variations with the rather newly coined word Ukraine.

“It took a while for the Ukrainian name to catch on. In the 1880s, activists in Eastern Halychyna still used Rus in the titles of their societies, while the ‘Dilo’ (Action – ed.) publication used Mykhailo Maksymovych’s orthography in the early 1890s. Even the reorganized Taras Shevchenko Academic Society was still described as a Ukrainian-Rus Society, as was the Rus-Ukrainian Radical Party, the first national-oriented political force of Eastern Halychyna.”

Multiple attorneys, in private, have told me that the US Constitution does not apply in 99% of issues, as the Constitution involves the United States of America, the USA. We haven’t lived in the USA since we became the United States Corporation in 1913 to get out of bankruptcy. Read the ‘Creature from
      Jeckyll (sp?) Island,’ for details.

Many times in forensic medicine consulting work, I would ask the attorneys I was working with, ‘what about this or that amendment of the Constitution.’ ALWAYS they would tell me ‘that’s irrelevant,’ and not to mention the constitution in front of the judge, as he would get mad due to its irrelevance. We are under the UCC, Universal Commercial Code, NOT any constitution. We live in the UC Corporation and we are corporate citizen slaves with no real rights except contractual.

      • neurodoc March 11, 2022 at 11:18 am #

Doc – are you sovereign yet?

          • neurodoc March 11, 2022 at 6:13 pm #

The problem with ‘being sovereign’ is that to really do that, one must first give up the social security number, which is your number of a US corporate slave/citizen. Doing so, breaks your contract with the US Corp to be their slave/citizen. If you do that , there are questions about whether you can have a driver’s license, professional license, etc., and you can definitely not receive social security OR pensions that are tied to the SS# in ALL cases, or receive ANY services tied to that government number (e.g. Medicare or supplements). I’m looking at retiring in Mexico and eventually renouncing the SS# and Corp US slave status/ ‘citizenship’. Final decision Depends on who wins the current war(s).

10-4. Thanks for the reply Doc.

Many (the vast majority actually) don’t understand the repercussions of all the voluntary contracts they’ve entered into, making them “slave/citizens” as you mention.

  8. E. H. Hail March 11, 2022 at 10:18 am #

    Corona-Panic vs. Ukraine-War-Panic Venn diagram:

Everyone fits in one of these nine categories:

    Corona Pro-Panic + Ukraine Pro-Panic
    Corona Pro-Panic + Ukraine Anti-Panic
    Corona Pro-Panic + Ukraine Neutral

    Corona Anti-Panic + Ukraine Pro-Panic
    Corona Anti-Panic + Ukraine Anti-Panic
    Corona Anti-Panic + Ukraine Neutral

    Corona Neutral + Ukraine Pro-Panic
    Corona Neutral + Ukraine Anti-Panic
    Corona Neutral + Ukraine Neutral

    Who goes where?

CNN, of course, is “Corona Pro-Panic + Ukraine Pro-Panic.”

(The responsible, adult position of yester-year would probably have been closest “Corona Anti-Panic + Ukraine Anti-Panic,” which I think is where a lot of Kunstler Blog readers are by instinct and by reading.)

Expanding on what those categories mean: https://hailtoyou.wordpress.com/2022/03/08/in-search-of-a-ukraine-war-panic-corona-panic-venn-diagram/#comment-48324

BlackRock is the financial strong arm of the WEF Globalist Billionaire Cartel. You want to know why you’ll own nothing? It’s because BlackRock will own it, and as long as you keep up your social credit score, they’ll rent it to you. Happy?

It is long past time for our host to move off this square on the pachisi board of trivializing Schwab as a “Bond Villain” or a “cartoon character.”
He is on the wrong board.
    That is, wrong game.

Actually, it is also kind of racist, since it seems to be based on Schwab’s accent.

Much good info, links, etc. have been presented here regarding the depth of Schwab’s penetration into government and institutions around the world, including in these united states. But Kunstler appears to have read none of it.

My Moscow contact, a fairly senior (Russian) financial analyst, writes this, this a.m.:

“I don’t think that WEF is a joke either. Klaus Schwab is not a joker, but may be a high-ranking card in the deck.”

Wow, that is pretty wild. I wonder what the context is of the picture.

Whatever it is, my point remains.

Constantly attaching these epithets a la Homer (“wind-dark sea”; (rosy-fingered dawn”) to Schwab and using this an a metonym for the whole WEF factoin creates a distraction as to what he and those associated with him are actually up to.

Tom Luongo has a pretty good grasp on international finance and related subjects. Hence I recommend his discussion of the WEFers vs. the others. Per Luongo, the WEF powerbase is in Europe (with tentacles, of course). “Others” are actually commercial banksters, in particular, regional bankers in the USA who have no intention of seeing their financial and other activities centralized as the WEF program envisions and has been quite successful at executing. Viz. the covid op.

Putin is also in the “contra” camp.

The aspects of Schwab’s presentation that elicit these responses are all superficial and align with American stereotypes.

As for Klingon vest, I have no idea what this refers to in Schwab’s wardrobe. I have only seen him pictured in a normal business suit.

From our pov Ukraine is unimportant. To Russia it is crucial. There isn’t one pov in these things. If we think Ukraine is important, that simply means we are zeroing in on Russia and not minding our own business.

Schwab is a serious man, yes. But also remember, humor is a deadly weapon. Can we keep both of these point of views in mind at the same time?

Well here we go Long Emergency! It is having an acute moment. This is really just a type of an acceleration or a slide into worse standard of living for people across the planet. The availability and prices of food and energy in particular will affect everybody, including everyone writing for and contributing to this blog.

How much affordable, exploitable oil is left in places like the M.E. and Venezuala? Forget Russia for a moment. I’m gonna guess probably not enough.

Then what? An attempt at the Bakken, again? How much realistically does that have left? Nobody knows.

I believe Musk came out in the last couple days and mentioned the words “nuclear energy” for the first time I’ve heard yet on the MSM. The fella is producing electric vehicles, so yeah.. it only behooves him to help create the solution to power his own products.

But new nuclear power plants aren’t simple, fly by night things to build. They take years.

So. We are collectively like Wiley E. Coyote haven just fallen off the cliff, grasping and momentarily holding on to little tuffs of weeds & the detritus of the mountainside as we sometimes slowly– and other times uncontrollably quickly & desperately– head to the inevitable POOF! of the sand cloud of the unforgiving bottom.

Uranium One. Secretary of State Hildebeast approved a deal allowing Rosatom, the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation, to buy Uranium One, an American company owned by Canadian – and member of the Clinton Foundation board – Frank Giustra. As part of the deal, Rosatom also bought uranium exploration rights in Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. Giustra also bought mines in Kazakhstan, transforming his former shell company into one of the largest uranium producers. Bill Clinton received $500,000 from Renaissance Capital, the Russian bank financing the sale, for making a speech shortly afterward. The Clinton Foundation received over $25 million from Giustra.

Corruption? Conflict of interest? No, nothing to see here, move along… Don’t trip on the rug.

France has many, many nuclear plants, all carbon copies. Why? Learning curve. Building the last one was much easier, less costly, and more reliable than the first. The US needs to bring over a French team, pay them lots of money, build five plants, say Merci, and build a hundred of them, just the same.

Someone will figure out how to get rid of spent fuel, maybe a justification for NASA. Safety and reliability stem from repetition.

”The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous. Hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance. This new version is the past and no different past can ever have existed. In principle the war effort is always planned to keep society on the brink of starvation. The war is waged by the ruling group against its own subjects and its object is not the victory over either Eurasia or East Asia, but to keep the very structure of society intact.”

I also agree with your assessment of its abilities.
On November 21, 2918, the British minister of foreign affairs, Lord Curzon, declared “the allied cause floated to victory upon a wave of oil,”
            Whose oil? Our oil.
The US had boatloads of oil. The US mostly used it to wage war, including wars to get more once the home supply was used up.
There once was plenty and that is when Orwell made his statement. But they used up everything.
And here we are now. As someone put it, we were born in the century of Fuck Around and now we are in the century of And Find Out.

The Swimsuit issue used to be fun.
I worked at SI back in the day, in the articles department (yes, there was a heck of a lot of good writing in SI in those days) and everyone on staff, men and women, had a favorite. Where the hell were they going to go this time to find an undiscovered beach??? Who would end up on the cover?
No one cared about the models’ personalities. They were models, for chrissakes.
The trick was to manage to look both wholesome and sexy at the same time. The models who developed a following and became favorites— like Christie Brinkley, Cheryl Tiegs, Elle MacPherson, Carol Alt, Paulina Porizkova, and others—did it on their own, through their natural appeal, not via obvious PC PR.

        @ megabeth:

Some kinds are fairly low in tanins. White oak acorns are much lower in tanins than red oak acorns. (The red oak ones are basically inedible.) The best white oak acorns come from burr oaks, and they are huge. The flavor is somewhat reminiscent of coconut.

One suggestion for leaching out the tanins is to crush them a bit and hang them in your toilet tank in a mesh bag for a week or two, though I’ve never tried that method.

I remember at the Sochi Olympics, Matt Lauer having conniptions over Russia’s president Vladimir Putin’s “anti-gay” law.

Putin said this back in 2013:

“Vladimir Putin has defended Russia’s anti-gay laws in his annual address to both chambers of the Russian parliament.

In an apparent reference to the laws banning “propaganda of non-traditional relations”, the Russian president said that on the international arena Russia sees itself as a defender of conservative values against what it considers an assault of “genderless and fruitless so-called tolerance” which he said “equals good and evil”.

I was reminded of this the other day, by Disney Corporation’s “concerns” over Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill, which doesn’t say “gay” anywhere, it just bans government employees from talking to young children about adult sexuality, and from concealing from parents what they do say to their children.

This is an anti-grooming law, and it has become more and more evident to me that one of the goals of the New World Order is the normalization of pedophilia, and anyone who wants to talk to your kids about sexual matters without you knowledge is a straight-up pervert.

The reasons people say they are against Putin aren’t valid, when the same people ignore he actions of world leaders like Trudeau in Canada and *Biden in the USA.

        @ Islander:

I’ve known many gay men over the years. Most died of AIDS many years ago, but a couple of them are still living. Most were fine people.

However, my only remaining gay friend that I still talk to has changed a great deal since those long-ago days when we first met in college in the 70s. Back then, he was deeply religious and even planned to become a monk. He was strongly conservative and believed in personal responsibility–and liked to lecture people about it. But within the past ten years or so, he has embraced the victim mentality. Last time I was at house for dinner, he and his SO talked of little else besides their victimhood. (People called them a faggot in college, and Mom liked their sister better.) He’s also embraced the belief in 57 genders (which IMHO are “the 57 sexual fetishes.”) He’s now an extreme leftist politically. I attribute this to the fact that both he and his SO are retired government or quasi-government employees, and their pensions trump all other considerations.

In the old days, gays just wanted to live their lives without secrecy or the threat of prison or job loss–which was very real.

Nowadays, gays demand that you not only approve and endorse their lifestyle, but also DEMAND that you play along and pretend that fantasy is reality–and demand laws that would punish you for not playing along.

Like blacks, they want people to LIKE them. And they think this can be legislated.

My usual reply to the victimhood thing is to point out that I don’t know anyone who hasn’t had it tough. My usual reply to the demand to be liked is that there are many people who don’t like me, and I don’t consider the resulting emotional trauma to be a political or legislative issue.

        • Jarek March 12, 2022 at 11:57 am #

Don’t stop at the personal. They are a group with group consciousness. They want special rights like affirmative action. They want to be able to destroy those who look at them wrong. They want to dominate. At one point, they were even getting ahead of Blacks, with Black afftletes forced to apologize for anti-gay slurs. But that was before the coup. Now Blacks are on top as the foremost visible minority, with Gay Blacks as the ultimates, next to Black trannies perhaps.

Good story. An extraordinary transformation downwards. The gates of hell yawn open for him now.

I would have thought that black and football trumped illegal, but no, there was no outcry among the mockingbird media.

Most of the homosexuals I have known have been totally scewed up as human beings. That’s what alerted me to the massive gulf between the MSM view of homosexuality (witty, waspish and Wilde) and the reality (nasty, brutish and short). Many became friends, but boy, I thank God that I am heterosexual.

        • Paula D March 12, 2022 at 4:44 pm #

Douglas Murray wrote an excellent book about the new propensity of certain groups to claim victimhood now, after the groups had achieved unprecedented gains. Why not bask in their laurels? Why start demanding more and more like Yertle the Turtle? It is odd. Personally, I think it comes from the top and is internalized by the plebes.
Jarek would like the book. It includes women.

      Here’s an interesting article:

I have to think that even gays (at least the sane ones who just want to live their lives in peace) want children protected from too much information at a much too early age. I realize they had to fight for equal rights and to be treated with dignity and those gains should not be minimized. But all sense of proportion has been erased, it seems to me. And you’re right about this being a grooming opportunity for pedophiles. I saw an interview with a convicted pedophile probably 20 years ago and he said — “don’t be surprised when the youth director at church, the boy scout leader, camp director, gym teacher, etc are the pedophiles. We’re very good at putting ourselves close to kids.”

The movie The Whistleblower with Rachael Weisz is a based on a true story of human trafficking of young women during the NATO intervention in Bosnia. Many of the people who participated in this got away scot-free b/c of diplomatic immunity.

John Dillinger the bank robber became a folk hero to many in 1934. The mistrusted press is creating the same sentiment among many with Putin.

    • Beryl of Oyl March 11, 2022 at 11:09 am #

      That’s a good observation.

    • dorn March 11, 2022 at 11:43 am #

Speaking of Dillinger, I watched the movie the other day; 1973 with Warren Oates. I recommend it. You can get it on Bit Shoot. Don’t make em like that, any more. I’ve always been fascinated by the bank robbers of that era. There was a story going around, at the time, that Pretty Boy Floyd would destroy mortgage documents while robbing the bank. There appears to be no evidence that this actually occurred, but all the more reason for him to be regarded as a kind of Robin Hood.

      • martydav March 11, 2022 at 2:07 pm #

Have you seen Michael Mann’s Public Enemies (2009), starring Johnny Depp as Dillinger?

        • dorn March 11, 2022 at 2:17 pm #

Yes, I watched it a couple of days after watching the Oates version. Also on Bit Shoot. I like the 1973 version better, but Depp pulls it off.

Billy the Kid “a great Confederate Patriot and a very learned man”?

Billy the Kid, born 1859 in New York City. Moved to Indiana, Kansas, and New Mexico Territory as a child. Orphaned at 15 (i.e., 1874). Arrested for robbing a Chinese laundry at 15.

        That Billy the Kid?

A veritable George Floyd of the nineteenth century…

I was just a short time ago talking to a road service driver, and he is completely aware of the issues surrounding high fuel prices, the role of Cash for Clunkers in getting us out of our cars, and the fact that there is an agenda in play that the news media doesn’t tell us about.

The thing I don’t get is how more local reporters haven’t gone rogue and started telling it like it is.

They seem to still believe everything they’ve been told, and when the “authorities” tell them to now start believing something else, they just go ahead without questioning it.

    • SW March 11, 2022 at 12:17 pm #

Local TV stations are usually affiliated with national networks and, my guess, are pretty closely regulated.

Amazing isn’t it how cutting off Russian oil will make our gasoline prices rise just in the nick of time to stop all them annoyin’ damn truckers from gettin’ crazy ideas like freedom?! They’re all parked in their driveways now and going nowhere except bankruptcy court.

      • cbeard March 11, 2022 at 10:41 pm #

Local stations where I am are NBC and ABC affiliates. The local stations perspective is always in line with the national content. I think the anchor, sports and weatherman are all (for lack of a better way to put it) are foreigners, certainly not from my neck of the woods in the Deep South. Regulation has nothing to do with their politics and social stances. Or maybe. I’m one of those truckers. Now retired. If every trucker on the planet would stop working for one week, hell one fucking day. They could rule the goddamned world.

Another attempt to get this point across. Most of the world “leaders” are all graduates of the WEF young leaders club. Putin, Macron, et.al. This isn’t about Russia, Ukraine, US, or any of that bullshit. It is what it’s always been, the fucking BANKSTERS against humanity, and they are still winning. You think they crucified Christ because he fed the homeless or maybe was even the son of god? How would that make him the most wanted man in the known world? How about maybe it was because he was at war with the money changers(BANKSTERS). When Rumsfeld said we were missing 21 or 23 trillion dollars from the pentagon the day before 911(coincidence I’m sure) and people were wondering, where did it go? I was wondering where the fuck it came from???? Who ever controls the money controls the world, and we gave the control of our money to the banksters in 1913. So, a trillion here for antifa, a trillion there for BLM, shit, way less then a trillion for congress, probably a couple hundred grand for the supreme court(LOL), pretty soon I will own the world. Only problem is the people, or too many people. So, a few trillion for my underground city and I can watch the balloon go up in comfort. I only wish it wasn’t so, but it is looking more and more like it. The MAIN problem as far as I can tell, is when this is all over and if we survive all the horrors, nothing will have changed, because the banksters will have survived also and all this shit will happen all over again, and again, and again, just like it’s happened before over and over again…….Until people wake up to the real problem there is just no fixing it. It aint about race, sex, love, hate, logic, science or anything. These are just more weapons they use against us. It is all about the fucking money and who controls it. Fiat by the bankers or gold by the people. I don’t have a bank account so as far as I’m concerned, they can go fuck themselves !!!!

We are in need of radical government reform. Unfortunately, history demonstrates that such action does not come about without torches and pitchforks in the hands of those shit upon by government. Take heart, the absence of available food is a great motivator for widespread unrest and drastic public action. Wait for the line- “Let them eat cake”.

      “Buy an electric car”.

      • cowbell81 March 11, 2022 at 11:16 am #

The government should just take the trillions they are spending on this Ukraine fiasco, and the trillions on so many other stupid and wasteful programs, and simply buy free “electric” cars to be given away to the masses. It would be a feeding frenzy for the manufacturers and it wouldn’t make one bit of difference to our national debt! Viola, the environmental problem is then solved.

        • JohnAZ March 11, 2022 at 11:34 am #

Why? Because the takeover of EVs would be catastrophic, no grid, no resources. I am not sure they could do a build of EVs before running out of everything required.

          • justanotherguy March 11, 2022 at 11:57 am #

some bright light a while ago calculated that if just the uk swapped its entire internal combustion fleet for electric vehicles, the entire known reserves of lithium would be consumed. haven’t verified myself, but there is a hard limit w/r/t resources for batteries seems to be the general agreement.

we are, or course, being played again.

        • TaxDonkey March 11, 2022 at 4:31 pm #

Cowbell, haha. The average EV has the following:

          400 pounds plastic and steel
          90 pounds copper
          60 pounds nickel
          30 pounds cobalt
          25 pounds lithium
          an ounce of silver

All this dug out of the ground with solar powered excavators I’m sure.

There’s no way we’re all going EV, even if we want to. There are already issues NOW with nickel and cobalt.

    • GreenAlba March 11, 2022 at 5:39 pm #

I had my first ever consultation with a doc in the private sector today, just because the wait in the NHS to see a dermatologist is mental and it was something I was worried about.

Anyway, he was the one who mentioned masks – said he hoped we’d soon be able to get rid of them. I was wearing one, because the hospital insisted – nice young man at the door saying you had to use one of theirs. Whatever. But I said to the consultant that I’d already got rid of them – mostly (present company excepted) – and that they were entirely unscientific and pointless, as was a whole lot of the other stuff. He said ‘you’re absolutely right’. First sane doc I’ve come across in ages.

I asked him if he knew anything about cancers increasing after the vaxx programme (I thought he should be able to cope with having his ear bent for 5 minutes since I was paying him £200 of my hard earned for half an hour of his time). No idea. Not heard anything about adverse effects or anything else. They live in a bubble, even the well-meaning ones.

      • tresho March 11, 2022 at 6:10 pm #

“They live in a bubble, even the well-meaning ones.” Quite a few health care practitioners in the USA have been doing just that since March 2020. Over a year ago I had the pleasure of informing my sister’s nurse practitioner that the hospital system which employed same practitioner had been running an outpatient infusion center for monoclonal antibodies against Covid-19 for several months prior. Practitioner did not know there was anything like that within 200 miles.
—- There were a great many stories online of COVID outpatients who were told by their own physicians that there was NO outpatient therapy for their condition — which was either a lie or culpable ignorance the part of the physician. I am hoping at this late stage that families who lost loved elders to COVID, elders who had been refused referrals to existing infusion centers in time, start suing the practitioners who concealed the real facts.

Did you see Dr. Campbell change from respected vaccine pusher to pusher of “misinformation”, Green Alba?
He read the Pfizer data. Awkward!

        • GreenAlba March 12, 2022 at 6:38 pm #

No, I hadn’t seen that, Paula. I’ve always found him exasperating.

He’s roasted here on ‘HugoTalks’ (new to me, but mentioned in one of the comments so I checked it out).

The comments under Hugo’s short video are not kind, and I absolutely agree with them. There is no way he could not have heard the information that we’ve all been hearing since last summer. Either he’s a shill or he’s a complete idiot – that was always my feeling. Although, bizarrely, Russell Brand had him on and presented him as the best thing since sliced bread, which surprised me.

I got a message months ago from Nextdoor, saying someone had posted one of his videos. I was surprised that people even posted stuff like that on Nextdoor, but I posted a Robert Malone interview in response, without much comment (on my part), and my post was removed within 3 minutes. I pointed this out on the thread and was told it was probably because it was a far-right website (it was New American).

The first comment after the Campbell link was someone saying how good it was to hear some sensible science instead of conspiracy theories. Another guy responded innocuously with ‘but remember there are other scientific opinions, such as what they’re doing in India. Do your own research’. He got a few LOLs and his comment was removed too.

So I really, really hope that all those preening dolts on Nextdoor have now listened to his latest videos and read the comments below them, and are suitably concerned. One woman was talking about taking her 13-year-old for her second dose. It was all I could do not to say anything (it’s risky because it’s not anonymous).

I wonder if he really got the three jabs? And if he’s going to get the fourth they’re now pushing here for health workers and 75-year-olds (my cohort will follow). I suspect there may be more medics and nurses refusing this time around, but maybe I’m dreaming, given my experience with the derm. guy!

          • Paula D March 12, 2022 at 11:08 pm #

Yes, he can be annoying when he believes the Science™ ”research”, but I was following him anyway because some of his information was interesting.
Then last week he had some Russian artist expatriate on to talk about Putin’s mental health and I got pissed off and unsubscribed.
So yeah, I hear you. But in a way, it’s even more effective when a True Believer converts. Well, you know that, because you mentioned it last week.
But he has a million followers, so it will probably make more of a dent.
He’s already being seriously attacked by the “Fact Checkers”.
Actually, he strayed from the Official Narrative last year, when he cited research showing that Ivermectin was effective, and got attacked for that, and he has had vaccine injured people on his show also.
            He’ll probably get fired now.

          • GreenAlba March 13, 2022 at 11:18 am #

I agree it’s good when someone like him has to change the narrative – as with the Nextdoor know-it-alls, all sorts of people may wake up, although some of them will find ways of convincing themselves that the vaxxes are ‘mostly safe’, just as the BLM demos were ‘mostly peaceful’.

I wish more people would watch Russell Brand – he’s doing great stuff on Ukraine as well as covid. I know his style’s not for everyone. He used to annoy me to death years ago, when his showing off was all in the service of self-promotion, but he’s grown up and uses his showing-off persona (to which he happily admits) to more useful effect! He reaches a lot of people – not as many as Joe Rogan, but 5 million is quite good for a Brit based in Britain.

Now, when people are returning to work and school, chain escapism restaurants, comic-book movie cineplexes, Carnival Norovirus cruises, and staycation road trip season they decide to push gas to… I don’t know, $250 a barrel?

Buy hey, I am sure that all the infrastructure supported by the gas taxes will be more than made up for with the BBB funding our government is about to spread across the land.

Remember this come election day: (1) gas prices were low under Trump and he took us closer to energy independence than ever before; (2) gas prices under Biden are at record highs and the economy is in freefall, with things only about to go from bad to worse and then to deplorable.

But then again aren’t we all just deplorables to begin with?

    • Disaffected March 11, 2022 at 3:22 pm #

Remember THIS come election day: In 2020 both the Dem primary AND the main presidential election were stolen in plain daylight and then all traces of the record were first ignored, then destroyed after the fact. If we even have a presidential election again it will be rigged going and coming: first by only allowing only completely bought and paid for candidates to be nominated, and second, rigging the election itself in favor of a pre-selected candidate as necessary. There will be no mistakes.

    • Blackbird March 11, 2022 at 9:19 pm #

Trump took us closer to energy independence than ever before? Pretty sure the U$ was energy independent until after WWII, and the advent of globalization.

But yeah, “Yay Trump!” He did get us a safe and effective vaccine – for the most virulent pandemic ever – much faster than a vaccine has ever been developed, rigorously tested, and approved. Trump knows how to make things happen – yell and throw money at the problem, works all the time. He undoubtedly saved millions of lives doing so.

Trump was lucky enough to come during the blow-off top near the peak of the fracking revolution and rode that wave. It wasn’t destined to last forever, but that’s beside the point. Along comes “Joe Biden” who is clearly run by foreign actors. They literally want to collapse the US. When comparing the two, it’s hard to tease out the purely ecological and economic factors associated with oil fracking production versus the outright treason that we now witness.

Project Veritas unmasked a NY Times reporter who truth-shredded his own employer.

He said the supposed “paper of record” of the United States is spoon-fed by the intel agencies and willfully spreads disinformation.
(Which many already know is truth and has been happening for ages BTW.)

He said or insinuated that January 6 was an entrapment job that is being blown out of proportion.

This is the paper of record.
The top/most respected US news agency.

And not a word on this.

Everything you know or think you know about this country and the way it is governed is a lie.

    • cowbell81 March 11, 2022 at 12:09 pm #

Just finished reading an interesting book about the early publishing business days of W.R. Hearst. It talked about all of his competition, namely The Sun, The Globe, and the NY Times.

It was stated that the masthead slogan “All the News That’s Fit to Print” came out as a result of this competition, due to the yellow journalism going around with absolute gutter stories reported, but that is what sold the papers and the public ate them up! Anyway, the Times went with this slogan to show that they only print news that is “fit” and acceptable for their family values.

My how far we have come….

    • MaryQueen March 11, 2022 at 12:24 pm #

You bet. NYSlimes has always been a propaganda rag front for the intel agencies. At least during my lifetime. They have gotten caught in numerous scandals, and I lost count of how many times they’ve been publicly shamed for being caught lying.

But yet the liberals love it, it’s their go-to to feel ‘informed’. LOL.

There is no fixing stupid and brainwashed, apparently.

They supported Stalin. They’ve been crooked for generations but Americans lacked the wit to see it. Slowly have some of us learned.

The Ukrainians forgot all their street smarts in an amazingly short time, electing an actor who then ran on the platform he had on the show, “Servant of the People”, namely entering the EU and NATO. Complete conflation of entertainment and reality, far beyond the Regan fiasco. They immediately went to an Obama level of misinformation.

      • Blackbird March 11, 2022 at 9:24 pm #

Did the Ukrainians really elect an actor?

Did we Americans really elect a senile pedophile?

I don’t doubt that the Ukraine’s elections may be less rigged than ours, but I do doubt that they reflect the will of the Ukrainian people any more than our elections reflect the will of the American people.

Alex Berenson has a different take on the Ukraine/Russia situation:

“Back in the good old days the Soviet Union ran a large biological weapons program. Sometimes bad things happened with that program, notably in 1979, when an anthrax leak from a laboratory in Sverdlovsk killed about 100 civilians. The Soviets lied — shocker, I know — and blamed “tainted meat” for the deaths.

Then, in 1991, the Soviet Union collapsed. The end of history, the triumph of democratic capitalism, yadda yadda yadda, yabba-dabba-doo. Meanwhile all those biological weapons labs (and nuclear labs too), and the scientists who worked for them, were now the property of a defunct and bankrupt state.

    Which made them our problem.”

Robert Kennedy is still on Twitter. As I’ve said, a working reporter telling the truth is right to be disturbed about having his work called misinformation.

          • Beryl of Oyl March 11, 2022 at 3:02 pm #

Mary, the issue I am commenting on is his Twitter ban. His Twitter ban was solely due to his factual assertions about the vaccines.

As to his “side” in the Russia/Ukraine fight, I posted his piece to show another point of view. I did not endorse his opinion or side or anything.

Alex’s reaction to the Twitter ban has IMO no bearing on the quality of his work nor on the validity of his opinions on other issues.

I met a woman in Moscow, she told me she had lived her entire lfe in a city with no name. One day, the trains stopped coming so, she, her mom and dad and some friends stole a truck and just started driving west towards Moscow.

Mom and Dad had valuable skills (Lasers & Particle Physics) I remember her well because she had teeth like a Ferret..a mouth filled with tiny daggers…very attractive. I’d bet she gave great hickeys.

      • BackRowHeckler March 11, 2022 at 3:00 pm #

I see a movie plot in there, ‘City with No Name’, or ‘The Last Train to Moscow’.

The year is 1990, the Soviet Union is collapsing, chaos at the train station as thousands clamor to board the last train headed west before the industrial reactor in The City With No Name melts down completely. Once aboard, our pretty protagonist (with bad teeth) scrapes some frost off the RR car window; outside, it is snowing hard, and she can see the barren, frozen steppe and the glow of the failing reactor on the horizon.

      From the Berenson article:

In addition to wasting munitions on murdering women, children, doctors and nurses in a maternity hospital the Russians are also “reducing cities to rubble”. Reuters didn’t specify which cities they reduced to rubble nor did they show photos of the cities reduced to rubble but they’re doing it. It doesn’t make sense to waste resources as an official policy.

“.. liberate Ukraine from its Jewish president and his evil Nazi army (say it fast and it makes even less sense!).”

I keep reading that being a nationalist or “Nazi” requires that you won’t have anything to do with Jews and want them all dead or that Jews can’t cooperate with nationalists when they have common interests. If the nationalist militia is doing things to keep the Jewish president in power why would he stop them? He might even get Israel to get them wepons thinking that once he gets Ukraine in NATO he can neuter them.

      • Islander March 11, 2022 at 6:05 pm #

        Is Berenson Jewish?

      • Blackbird March 11, 2022 at 9:33 pm #

Your reading regarding the interaction between Nazis and Jews doesn’t agree with what I have read recently. That is, that the Third Reich and German Zionists attempted to cooperate on a plan to relocate German Jews somewhere else. Both groups realized that they didn’t belong together.

The International Zionist Congress, however, had no intention of working with Germany on a solution to the “Jewish question”. Just months after Hitler took power, the International Zionist Congress “declared war” on Germany.

The Azon fighters in the Ukraine know they would be swept away if they exhibited deep antisemitism. Bad look for the liberal ruling class in the west if Jews and Queers started getting harassed or murdered. Cranky Alex Berenson is full of shit. The Soviet era labs could have easily been shut down with very little cost. It’s a matter of going through the freezers and autoclaving or incinerating the samples. There was no problem there at all. Hopefully I’m wrong but the current situation looks like violation of biological weapons treaties and “the Soviets made us do it” is not an acceptable excuse.

Awkward for thoroughly modern Union Pacific, having torn down thousands of Division and junction dispatch/control towers along their far-flung train layout… Most all their individual freight & Amtrak movements operate via voice communication with train crews; signal aspects and track switches operated from a purportedly impregnable concrete bunker near Omaha!

“… Americans barely noticed that the US government went to war on its own citizens.”

When you run out of outside ‘enemies’ (or can’t ‘sell’ them well enough to successfully peddle your chosen Narrative), you turn to the only ‘enemies’ left – YOUR OWN PEOPLE.

But governments are ALWAYS at war with their own people all the time. Usually it’s done quietly and without much notice. But toward the end of an Empire’s life span, the war becomes overt and more openly dangerous as the People have become wise to the ongoing cons and abuse.

“ Was there something in the water… Or did those ‘vaccines,’ which were so popular as an emblem of their obedience to The Science, turn their brains into something like an Oreo McFlurry?”

          • Jarek March 11, 2022 at 7:12 pm #

The Chinese have an incredible sense of being a people and thus have a very strong nation. Don’t let Thorpe confuse you.

China is the Domination of the Han. Some of the minorities don’t like it. And even some of the peoples who have been assimilated into “Handom” may have their regrets. But all in all, very strong, much stronger than Russia in that sense. We don’t even rate in comparison.

Our Political Correctness, our homegrown form of Communism, has taken elements of Maoism into itself. That’s a valid point of course.

The TSA has extended it’s face mask “requirements”, the ones that flight attendants love to tell people are federal law.

Laws are made by people we vote for.

What gave the Transportation Security Administration the authority to order anyone to wear a diaper on their face, on a plane or anywhere?

They must have gotten confused, and the think that it’s the other kind of security they are supposed to provide, the Linus and his blankie kind of security, that comes from knowing the two year old across the aisle can’t breathe very well due to the silly rag over his nose.

As it turns out, many Americans are really afraid of babies breathing around them.

    • Disaffected March 11, 2022 at 4:37 pm #

Lots of voluntary maskers still here locally. I laugh and shake my head at the lunacy. See the funny people in their masks. Whatever IS their problem? Are they facially deformed and embarrassed? Fear rules the world.

      • Islander March 11, 2022 at 6:22 pm #

        Here, too.
Also, signs that say “Wearing a Mask Is Now Voluntary.” Huh. When was this not voluntary?
Anyone can wear a mask anytime they want. They could have done so also two years ago.

Sort like announcing that, say, buying a chocolate bar is voluntary.

What is the point of this? I think it is just more mind-fuck.

Furthermore, some venues have decided to continue to impose mask mandates. Like—they know better? Yes, they do. Like the board of directors at the library. the head librarian was obviously delighted to be able to tell me to put on my mask. I was the ONLY person in the library besides her and the desk person.

It is really crazy. Obviously, many people are permanently mentally scarred.

        • Blackbird March 11, 2022 at 9:42 pm #

I kinda miss the mask mandates – but I know dear Gretchen will bring them back once she wins re-election – by a landslide! – this November. I used to be able to make faces at people without getting caught. Now I mistakenly assume that someone wearing a mask won’t see me making faces at them. Oops…

      • SpeedyBB March 13, 2022 at 7:44 am #

Dis, having lived in a majority-Muslim country for three decades I have come to realize that the face covering offers a sense of power, protection, impassivity. I can see you and your expression but you can’t tell what I’m thinking.

I just paced an on-line order for a “niqab for children” at the request of the six-year-old living here. She seemed excited about it. No force or influence involved.

The Judge came down on poor Jussie, calling out his abhorrent narcissism and his endless lies. Only 150 days in jail, but that’s 150 more than we expected, so bravo for that and the epistle to dippy.

All major Black Civil Rights figures and organizations supported him, meaning they share his narcissism and racism. Let’s not bandy the issue: Every fake hate crime by Blacks is a real hate crime against Whites.

Jussie the Liar cried out his innocence as he was taken away. And that he will not kill himself, lol. Blacks have a very low rate of suicide btw, but a very high rate of homicide. Interesting, no?

Both Russia and China see the West as finished. They are correct. Our Elite don’t care about their own people, except to degrade them and torture them using Feminism, Racism, Islam and mass immigration in general.

For Putin to march on Western Europe as per Catholic prophecy would INDEED be the best thing for Western Europe. This culture of degeneracy needs to be overthrown and the Vatican, cleansed of all who inhabit it. Neutral Switzerland isn’t neutral if it allows these Bankers any refuge. Let them flee to Paraguay and drink with the sons of the Nazis they persecuted.

Your own “whites” are not working against you, they are working for themselves.

In my very early twenties, my friend had his chum from Phillips Exeter out for a visit.

He was in the family business, my friend was not. At all. He left his family’s business and headed west. He was the youngest and all.

At a dinner party “the friend” determined that neither my friend, nor I , offered him anything beyond conviviality.

          So he worked the room.
At the end of the evening he could not stop gushing about two Japanese Peruvian brothers who set up shop in SoCal. A real opportunity. They were going to meet up for more talks back east.

          The highlight of his trip.
It was my real Nick Carraway moment. Their lives, alliances, networks, values and so on are so vastly different.

Jarek THINKS people want to hear what he has to say, beacause he thinks he is one of them.

The most telling thing in this Friday’s rancid diatribe is the bio-labs in Ukraine schtick – these are all Soviet era facilities, being dealt with under an international agreement signed in 2005, and called the Bio-Threat Reduction Program, as discussed on Hanning the other day:

    • cowbell81 March 11, 2022 at 4:08 pm #

Wow, to think that Biden is not the one responsible for gas price increases, and all the inflation that is occurring today, is outright lunacy. The latest numbers that prove inflation were last collected BEFORE the Russian military operation even got underway. Gas prices were quickly increasing BEFORE the Russian operations as well.

Everything that is wrong with our country today is a direct and proximate cause of Biden sitting in the White House enjoying his ice cream cones in front of the latest Teletubby reruns.

Everything about the Biden “presidency” is a joke and a sham, inflicted on the American people. Remember all the backlogs in our shipping ports, and they did nothing about it. The fact that nothing of worth is manufactured in the US because we have been sold out by Biden and his ilk during his illustrious career as a “public servant”. The fact that anything good enacted by the Trump Administration was overturned on day one by the Biden regime, regardless of how good the policy may have been, solely because it had Trump’s DNA on it was extremely short sighted. Now they are pandering to other State run terrorist organizations in the hopes to get more oil.

Biden does not care about you, he does not care about me, he does not care about the American people. He is a disgrace to our country and what used to be a hallowed institution: The Executive Office of the American Presidency.

Not to mention all of the money the Fed is pumping out hand over fist and shooting it throughout American like a t-shirt gun at a sporting event. Money chases money and leads to runaway inflation, much like we are seeing today. Old Joey must have missed out on a few key lectures during his Econ 101 classes. Biden and his handlers really need to get a better grasp of basic economic policy.

        • Disaffected March 11, 2022 at 4:24 pm #

They know what they’re doing, alright. Inflation actually stimulates economic activity. As spiraling prices make your money worth less and less, the only reasonable response is to spend it as fast as you can while you can still get something of value in return.

Shutting down the Keystone Pipeline “On day one” is not a good look for Biden and the Democrats. Neither is Energy Sec. Granholm’s stated goal to “End America’s reliance on oil”. Here we have an Energy Secretary who sees it as her mission to choke off US energy supply. Republicans will be hammering on this from now until next November.

        • cowbell81 March 11, 2022 at 4:43 pm #

Unlike Biden and the collective west, Putin appears to be an honest truth teller. That’s an exceedingly rare commodity these days. In a veritable sea of western lies, Putin sticks out like a sore you know what. Western media like you linked to above will rot your brain. If you can’t see through it, you should avoid it at all costs. By the way, it’s Hannity, not Hanning.

“The most telling thing in this Friday’s rancid diatribe is the bio-labs in Ukraine schtick – these are all Soviet era facilities, being dealt with under an international agreement signed in 2005 […]”

Is that why the US claimed they didn’t exist?

UKC News was very good yesterday on Ukraine.

I’m only at the first half hour, near the end of which you can see Nancy Pelosi looking as if she has advanced dementia. As they said, No. 3 in line to be in charge of the US. Frightening.

I don’t care for Putin myself, but I recall we were taken into a war many miles away because of non-existent WMD, which has been conveniently forgotten, as has the Cuban Missile Crisis, by the people desperate for the Ukraine war to escalate.

      • Disaffected March 12, 2022 at 9:29 am #

The US-based UN has now “confirmed” that’s no there there, regarding bio-labs. Move along now sheeple, nothing to see here.

      • Redneck Liberal March 12, 2022 at 12:15 pm #

When was the existence of labs denied?
The story – Russian disinformation – was that the US and Ukraine were making bio-WEAPONS and THAT was denied. Apply your logic skills to this one.

        • GreenAlba March 12, 2022 at 12:52 pm #

How do you know it’s ‘Russian disinformation’, when we know from Fauci’s own emails that he was funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan, after lying to Congress by saying that he wasn’t? If we know the US was funding bioweapons research in Wuhan, perhaps it’s up to you to provide actual proof that they haven’t been funding it in Ukraine? You say it as if it was a ludicrous notion that they would be doing in Ukraine what we know they were doing in Wuhan.

    • Hereward the Woke March 12, 2022 at 1:07 pm #

Putin’s not a nice person at all, Red. He just happens to be right in this situation. He is behaving how America would behave if the Russkies were fooling around in Mexico, central and south America and the Caribbean. It’s not being a fan of Putin to ask why Nato is today double its size since the end of the Cold War. Neither is it being a Putin fanboy to acknowledge that Russia has a right to be peed off by the illegal overthrow of the pro-Russian government in Ukraine in 2014, by the declaration at the 2008 Nato Summit that Ukraine and Georgia would be joining Nato whatever Russia thought, and by the west’s ignoring of the Minsk Declaration that gave autonomy to the Russian speaking areas of Ukraine. Putin has repeatedly said that Ukraine joining Nato and accepting Western arms, logistics and biological warfare technology would lead to war. Finally, I would like to assume in the interests of fairness that you were just as angry when America invaded or overthrew governments in: Panama, El Salvador, Chile, Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Haiti, Grenada and sundry other nations.

Let’s not forget that Putin is a tyrant who murders his opposition. An easy search discloses numerous deaths attributed to him, attributions that are most likely accurate.

He brazenly had Nemtsov popped just yards from the Kremlin. Putin took ‘personal control’ of the investigation.

Although he tells the truth about US intervention, he does not tell the truth about the body count he’s responsible for.

    • Disaffected March 11, 2022 at 6:20 pm #

Some people just need to get got. He’s been in a war with US and British spooks since he took office. But I wouldn’t believe everything you hear and read over here either. I’m much more concerned with the traitors in DC. We know for an absolute fact that they’re lying killers the world over.

      • Disaffected March 11, 2022 at 6:22 pm #

I don’t think ‘tyrant’ is accurate in the least either. That’s a knee-jerk word used by legitimate US tyrants to paint their opposition.

        • Night Owl March 11, 2022 at 6:40 pm #

I agree for the most part, but it is true that most acting at that level are sociopaths or have some of the traits, at the least.

That said, as long as Ukraine remains a State Department staging area, the cabal nuts are going to keep pushing. I had no particularl love for Assad either, but watching Russian jets destroy ISIS actually had me cheering.

My wife got the Pfizer booster in mid November and has been ill ever since Christmas, which included a hospital stay. She was dianosed with pneumonia, mononucleosis and iron-defciency anemia. The doctors at the local university research hospital told us her condition was most likely caused by the booster, which overtaxed her immune system. They said the boosters should not have been given so soon after the initial vaccinations and that the government was warned about this and did it anyway. She is slowly getting better but has a ways to go.
We are older and had some medical conditions that increased our Covid risk.so we consented to the vaccines.

Edward Dowd crunched the numbers, discovered and revealed that more Americans have died from the clotshots in a year than died in the entire Vietnam war.

” amidst all the global strife of the 2020s, Americans barely noticed that the US government went to war on its own citizens. ”

    — JHK

My apologies ahead of time for being a twit ,

But I have been saying that since around 1978.

Of course then , as now , people dismiss that as my being an East German Nazi / Commie with an axe to grind.

Or , alternatively , an ethnic girl with an axe to grind.

    And so it goes.

    • MaryQueen March 11, 2022 at 9:15 pm #

Yes they have actually been warring on us since at least 1978 – if not for the past 300 years!

The old Eastern Mediterranean was attacked by Aryan heroes, the Danaans. They behaved like a cross between antifa, BLM, the Chechens, the Visigoths and the Mongols. But somehow it was good. The life force was behind them! Cretan cities had no fortifications at all….

They drove other people’s before them, some of the latter joining in as they attacked new peoples. A great wandering. What is that German word?

Egypt held off this invasion of “the Sea Peoples” as did Assyria. No others could. Nothing was the same a century later.

  58. KesaAnna March 11, 2022 at 8:28 pm #

” but it seems the people never noticed because they send the same old dogs back again and again ( to congress ) and will do so in the coming midterm elections. ”

    — Bluedog

But then not uncommonly it seems to me that I am not as hard on Americans, as Americans are hard on Americans.

This is a country that covers 4 time zones , excluding Alaska , Hawaii , and other overseas possessions,

and yet has had only two viable political parties for 100+ years.

So I very much doubt the state of affairs in Washington DC has anything to do with stupidity , laziness , corruption, or whatever , on the part of the average American Joe.

The simple answer to the ” mystery ” is that you never had any such choice to being with.

This should be blatantly obvious in foreign affairs too.

With the exception of Germany and Japan — except they weren’t exceptions , they were already well-to-do countries with their ducks in a row . The significance of your Marshall Plan was grossly overblown , we largely rebuilt our countries ourselves —

    — the United States has not spread democracy around the world , it has spread misery , death and dictatorship around the world.

And here again , the average American Joe had little or nothing to do with that.

Right after 911 happened it occurred to me that all Islamic terrorists need do is enter the U.S. by way of Mexico with a single phrase ” habla Español ” , or , ” Sie , senor ” .

Can your average American tell the difference between a Mexican and an Arab ?

      I doubt it.

And , OK , the twin towers hit was pretty impressive , but writing a hit song one after another isn’t a practical proposition.

So how about for an encour you blow up a dozen post offices in rural towns that don’t even have a stop light.

This would be easier than killing kids.

So there again I thought the whole Homeland Security , The Patriot act , War on Terror thing was a grossly over – blown fraud.

Clearly these Islamic Terrorists are not the A – Team , or even particularly that motivated.

      Lol ,

Last night I went looking for M – 24 Hind gunship videos.

Grrr , I had to wade past the thousands of , ” Ukrainian’s shoot down Hind gunships ” videos .

I hate to break it to them , but I’m already wise to that shit.

Remember the Soviet – Afghan war ?

The story was the Americans with their super high – tech kicked the Soviets out of Afghanistan because they were shooting down the Hind gunships right and left with their super duper Stinger missiles.

Bullshit , the Soviets pulled out of Afghanistan because they were broke , and because , like the United States , they never really gave a fuck about Afghanistan to begin with.

Anyway , after finally finding and watching a decent Hind gunship video ,

I decided to watch a video of Russian tanks fucking shit up.

      So , seriously, I literally typed in ;

” Russian tanks fucking shit up. ”

Guess what the Results were ?

      Thousands of ,

” Ukrainians ambush Russian tanks ”

” Ukrainians destroy Russian tanks. ”

” Russian tanks retreat from Lesbian Ukrainian girl scouts ”

Granted , there were the , ” World of Tanks ” videos . Even the narrative must not interfere with commerce !

And deviants with money who want to play with tanks not uncommonly want to play with Nazi and Russian tanks , like it or not.

      Their aircraft losses were minimal.

My lot borders on a main thoroughfare in our humble little burg. Actually, the small corner lot bordering the road proper belongs to the city, but I maintain it. As such, I think it would make a wonderful parking spot for a tank with the barrel facing down traffic. To keep the cops happy we could put a digital speed monitor on it to further intimidate the speeders, who really like to get up a head steam on this particular stretch. I wonder if any of that would be tax deductible? I doubt the make and model would be all that important.

I’m with you on things like that. I don’t take stability for granted. If someone starts to hate on me, I don’t pretend it’s not happening no matter who they are or how much history we have

Each night we do an update. Things are reevaluated, deleted, etc. We wake up slightly different. Maybe one night you go into the other person’s red column, now a liability. Who knows why, might be a real, objective reason or something very personal for them that you’ll never get to know. The real tragedy is if that person is the one next to you in bed, especially if you’re a man married to her.

Not always hatred of course, might just be disinterest or indifference. Life is a journey. People travel together for a time and then diverge. Best to make it easy for them and be able to let go gracefully.

‘I don’t think ‘tyrant’ is accurate in the least either. That’s a knee-jerk word used by legitimate US tyrants to paint their opposition.’ Dis

So, tyrant is not ‘accurate in the least’? Look up the definition. How about murderous tyrant? Putin admires both Peter the Great and Stalin. Read up on them if you’re not familiar.

How about dictator? No there also? Then you’re simply not in tune with reality.

It’s also not knee jerk. Tyrants in the US, sure. Doesn’t mean Putin isn’t one.

    • tucsonspur March 12, 2022 at 3:51 am #

Some admiration of Putin is warranted. Many of us here must wish we had someone like him to squash the Left and save the nation. Finish the job and then move on. Kind of like Paladin, but more vicious. I’m okay with that. If only.

Uh oh! Sounds like someone’s got hurt feelings. Seriously, if you live in the US, there’s only one set of leaders you should be worried about. Clean up DC first – including war crimes trials and a complete investigation of 9-11 and the subsequent US Global War of Terror – and then we’ll worry about others. OK? Now turn off the damn TV and quit listening to the tripe they’re filling you with.

Kiev to Moscow a distance of only 470 miles; Putin could drive to Kiev in a single day, including a detour to Karkhov for a brief lunch followed a few shots of Vodka. Sufficiently primed, he rolls into Kiev like a conqueror.

Republicans still talking about establishing a no-fly -zone over Ukraine. How would that work? Say a French Mirage Jet shot down a Russian transport helo, killing the crew and 25 soldiers? Russian Navy ships deployed in the Med and Black Sea then lob a few cruise missile equivalents into Marseilles, Nice or even Paris. Then it would be on.

And other trouble is brewing. Yesterday India launched a missile into Pakistan, now saying it was an accident. Maybe 2022 is the year for settling scores, which would mean China could begin operations soon against Taiwan too.

Every other sentence in the interview was “greenhouse gases”, “transition to renewables”, “Climate Justice”, “Marginalized Communities”, and oddly enough linking men transitioning to woman to the grid transition to renewables. Charles Swedish army that invaded Russia in 1709 largely froze to death. Interestingly enough Russia crushed the Swedes at Poltava, in Ukraine, near Kharkov.

Cossacks on horseback wielding bows and arrows ran down Napoleons retreating troops on the Russian Steppe, descendants of Genghis Khan’s Golden Horde that blew thru Russia in the 13th century.

John Harrar, a senior, plays for Penn State. He is a 6’9” Power Forward, strong, determined and skilled at his position. For some reason the talking heads don’t pronounce the last r in his name. Rather, they say Harrah like the resort in Atlantic City. I can’t say exactly WHY this bothers me but it does.

So anyway, I enjoy the hell out of watching Harrar do his thing. I have learned a lot about basketball just by isolating my attention on him. You realize that these players are not just running around haphazardly. There is method to the seeming madness.

Harrar is in no way a “hot dog” as so many sports figures are. He says of himself, “I’m gritty not pretty,” speaking of which, he has an unusual facial bone structure and mouth. While playing you almost never see his teeth. No smiling. His mouth is just a hole in the front of his face… sort of a pie hole.

Harrar’s chore last night was to guard the Goliath, Zach Edey, of Purdue who is an incredible 7’4” tall. Edey is a Chinese Canadian from Toronto. There must be something in the water up there.

Penn State lost by 8 points to higher ranked Purdue.

    A Peter update:

The shit never ends with Peter. How could a person live 75 years and NOT acquire knowledge of the simplest and most common things in life? Every day my wife or I retrieve the mail and look through it for anything addressed to Peter. We want to make sure that if anything is important he doesn’t get his hands on it before we do since there is a high likelihood it will be lost or destroyed.

A pension check attributable to the working career of Peter’s deceased wife, Darlene, arrives the 1st of each month. Normally we wouldn’t let this check out of our sight but we fucked up and Peter took the envelop to the third floor. Day after day I would ask my wife, “did you get that check back from Peter and deposit it yet?” and she would say “no, thanks for reminding me, I’ve got to do that.” Eleven days went by, out of sight out of mind, then Peter appeared in the kitchen with the envelop and check. Instead of tearing the check off the document at the perforations Peter picked up a pair of scissors and cut the check off, eliminating the all-important routing number and account number. My wife taped it back together and tried to deposit it. The clerk wouldn’t accept it and said “try depositing it in the ATM and see what happens.” I later went on-line and saw that there was an item for $634 in “credit pending” status.

William Burroughs felt the same way about his son. Even when he worked, he would often lose his paychecks. A hopeless drunk, he ruined his liver before age forty – that takes real dedication.

He was an ordinary guy whose father had killed his mother by mistake. He went to live with “Bill” in Morocco – an alien environment of queers and their dark skinned boys. Not good for him, but of course nothing was going to really help.

            Hey, thwack

            Check this out:

In NZ’s case, yes – currently, Omicron is ripping its way through the population. However, the vaccination rate is 93% of eligible adults. Current infections are totaling 290,000 as of yesterday. Deaths to date this last month (when Omicron got loose) – 63.

The vaccination has meant way fewer deaths, waaaaaayyyy fewer hospitalizations, and a public health system that has a chance of coping with this wave.

The NZ government’s strategy was to:

            > basically keep the original COVID out for almost 2 years, then
            > manage the Delta onslaught effectively
            > prepare as best it could for Omicron.

The naïve trope that “the vaccine doesn’t work because you can still get Covid” is like saying “road rules don’t work because you can still get into a car smash”.

PS– I got money on it that Jussie stages his own “Epstein” attempt to prove there is a giant anti black, anti gay, anti semitic conspiracy against him.

He’s gonna make a noose in his cell and claim a white guard threw it in.

Y’all ain’t heard the last from this jogger.

I think his Showbiz career is over, tho.

Similar to Pee Wee Herman, altho Pee Wee did get a few roles after his own indiscretions.

      • King of Comedy March 12, 2022 at 8:02 pm #

Speaking of show biz, the most upsetting part of this whole affair is that Jussie Smollet did not hire white actors to play his MAGA assailants. I thought the new rule in Hollywood is that an actor’s race and a character’s race have to jive. Those two Nigerian guys were just not believable in the role. Two thumbs down.

      “That’s racissss.”

“PS– I got money on it that Jussie stages his own “Epstein” attempt to prove there is a giant anti black, anti gay, anti semitic conspiracy against him.”

Brilliant way to double-down on the initial ‘crime’.

Huh, it looks like most of the pipelines carry natgas from Russia thru Ukraine and into central and western Europe are still operable. What’s more, both Ukrainian and Russian crews are servicing and maintaining the rather elaborate and delicate infrastructure. I would think in an all out war on western civilization — as Putin is being accused of waging — the first thing he would knock out is the west’s energy supply — but what do I know, really? I wonder how the EU is paying for Russian gas and petroleum, what with the Swift international banking system suspended?

China or India don’t seem to be troubled by sanctions on Russia as both countries are stepping up to buy all the energy resources Russia can provide — and at discount prices. Something tells me we’re not getting the whole story on this so called Russian invasion.

    • thwack March 12, 2022 at 7:45 pm #

but those Russians are gonna pay dearly; no more Porn hub, no more McDonalds, no more Feces book…

The Russian Bear will be brought down.

      Oh the humanity

    • King of Comedy March 12, 2022 at 7:54 pm #

Judging by the news coverage, Russian forces seem to be moving into the intersectional phase of the campaign, most recently targeting a mosque. An airstrike on a gay bar or George Floyd Square can not be far behind.

      • BackRowHeckler March 13, 2022 at 6:47 am #

I’m worried at the giant George Floyd tapestry that was hanging off the side of the US Embassy in Kiev. What will happen to it? I hope it is safely stored somewhere, preferably at one of the great art museums in Paris or Amsterdam. As for the Pride Flag that stood at the main Embassy entrance, that was retired with honors in a solemn ceremony at which the entire embassy staff — including the ambassador herself and a US Marine Color Guard — was present.

      • Paula D March 13, 2022 at 2:02 pm #

        Hospitals. Check.
        Day care center. Check.
        Mosque. Check.
I already saw a report on the tragedy of trannies unable to escape. The report didn’t mention that no men between 16 and 60 can leave Ukraine, by order of the democratic president. What??? Even if they identify as women? Seems tragic and oppressive and literally genocidal.
The drumbeats of ”chemical weapons” are increasing. Expect another Syria moment.

Good military analysis. Long. To Q: TLDB – To Long Don’t Bother. Women’s basketball is more important.

In other news, Putin accepting troops from his Syrian Muslim vassals. The Emperor needs more troops since the current 200,000 isn’t enough to beat the Ukrainian conscript army which will reach 500,000 soon.

    • Disaffected March 13, 2022 at 2:22 pm #

      Money lines:

In regards to of the so called “liberal international order”, Putin and Russia have truly crossed the Rubicon with this war. Russia has set itself on a course, on no uncertain terms, to overthrow the existing international order. The moment Russian forces crossed the Ukrainian frontiers there was no turning back.

Yet this is not a bad thing, in fact I think this a great thing and anyone who looked upon the prospect of the “End of History” with dismay should rejoice. I cannot imagine a world more boring, more meaningless than one at the end of history. There would be nothing worse than to live in boring times, fated to be the “last men” that Nietzsche wrote of, concerned with merely safety and comfort, and not with anything truly great.

What has existed in the West since at least the mid-20th century is a world without heroes and without heroism. Instead the most base human instincts are increasingly held up and celebrated as the ideal. Fortunately this period is coming to an end. What Russia has done is to help birth a new world historical epoch. And thanks to the sheer audacity of the Russian leadership the so called “end of history” will come to be regarded as nothing but a bad joke.

Sorry, missile @ US con in northern Iraq I believe.

    • MaryQueen March 12, 2022 at 9:00 pm #

I figured they were going to switch it up to include Iraq since the CFR or whoever put a survey on Fascistbook asking all this shit about Iran and its horrifying threat to Israel.

    • BackRowHeckler March 13, 2022 at 6:22 am #

2022 might go down as the Year of the Missile.

Missiles may be raining down on Taiwan soon too.

“I tell you as I’m standing here I will end the use of fossil fuels in the US by the year 2030.”-Candidate Joe Biden, 2019.

Biden is crawling on his belly like a worm before the Mullahs in Iran begging for a cup of oil after spending an entire year choking off our own domestic energy supply. How does Iran respond but by launching ordinance at the US embassy in Baghdad lol.

      • Disaffected March 13, 2022 at 2:10 pm #

Missiles are a very fuel efficient way to send a message. Drones are probably a close second.

Oh look, the goal posts move. After finding out that most of the powerful people in Ukraine are Jewish, the narratives fall apart. The conflict is no longer about a heroic Putin placing himself on the line for the safety of the poor victims of Nazis. Shooting civilians twelve hours by car from Dombass and its supposed victims will have that effect on a narrative. But wait, don’t worry. Where one narrative fails, there is always another. We now know Putin is heroically saving people from evil western bioweapons labs. The beloved Czar is doing so by shelling apartment complexes and other civilian buildings. I’m guessing the residents of Mariupol must be infected with something pretty bad to justify his forced quarantine of the entire city. I hope Dustin Hoffman finds that monkey soon.

Thinking people don’t GAF if any leaders are Jewish.

Israel has Jewish leaders, I still condemn them for their attacks on Palestinians.

The weird thing is the idea that Jews can do no wrong. That’s as insane as saying whites can’t.
