Historians of the future, boiling acorns over their campfires, will wonder that amidst all the global strife of the 2020s, Americans barely noticed that the US government went to war on its own citizens. Was there something in the water — or, more specifically, in the Pepsi Cola? Or did those “vaccines,” which were so popular as an emblem of their obedience to The Science, turn their brains into something like an Oreo McFlurry? However it happened, said citizens marched themselves ardently into the VAERS database to receive gold stars on their vaxx passports thinking: jabs will make us free!
Speaking of The Science, the nation learned this week, via a strangely staged colloquy between Senator Marco Rubio and Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, that contra to official denials days before, our government was indeed running quite a few — I believe the actual number was 29 — science projects in the foreign land called Ukraine, discovered in the course of Russian military operations there. Loose talk about “bioweapons labs” was efficiently quashed by Ms. Nuland, who styled the work as an inventory of “biological research materials.” These included such science-y playthings as ebola, bubonic plague, anthrax, and sundry viral curiosities of nature. It looked like she was trying to get ahead of the story, as they say in the agit-prop industry.
Speaking of Russia and agit-prop, that’s all we hear on the air-waves, the cable channels, and the webstreams. “Russia, Russia, Russia.” And “Putin, Putin, Putin.” American news reporters must be living in Vladimir Putin’s head because they are so adept at reading his thoughts. Putin thinks this, Putin thinks that, they declare so brashly. They are all so sure of Mr. Putin’s every thought that Mr. Putin must have to check-in with American news media to find out exactly what he’s thinking. Lately, according to CNN, The New York Times, and the rest of the gang, Mr. Putin — or maybe it’s The Putin, as in The Science — is thinking of gobbling up all the other quaint little countries at Russia’s border like so many tater tots.
For your consideration: is it possible that Russian intel knew a little something about those Ukraine labs before February 24, 2022, and became concerned that another concocted freak-of-nature pestilence might get loose there on the Eurasian frontier? And you must wonder: America saw Russian troops mustering along Ukraine’s border for many weeks before their dastardly operations got underway, and yet nobody in those bio-labs thought to maybe stuff their bio-playthings in the incinerator? Weird, little bit. But, notice, of-a-piece with the sloppy-ass way that the US has handled the entire Covid-19 fiasco: a Chinese fire-drill inside a clusterfuck garnished with the rankest dishonesty from start to finish.
And to what purpose, after all? The cartoon character Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum crowed repeatedly about what a fine opportunity Covid-19 was to smash the operating system of Western Civ in order to Build Back Better: a new system in which the zombified masses would have nothing and be happy — at least for the weeks and months they remained in the earthly plane of existence before the “vaccines” they were induced to take infarcted their livers and lights, finally carrying them off to sprout wings and receive their issued harps and halos in cloud-land. And then Herr Schwab and his tiny band of ubermenschen would be free to enjoy their transhuman nirvana free of the swine-like multitudes previously cluttering up the planet.
Yes, life in the early twenty-first century looks more and more like a bad horror movie. And now the critics are moving in, savaging the production. “A massive murderous fraud,” many are saying of the Covid-19 extravaganza, and the audience, once back out in the blinding, clarifying daylight, are saying to themselves, Yeah, kinda seems like it was. Fraud vitiates liability protection. It is a well-known principle among the artisans of law. Moderna stock is down 70 percent and Pfizer more than 20. Wall Street has sniffed out a motherlode of rot, according to Mr. Edward Dowd, BlackRock investment advisor emeritus, who is saying it loudly over the alt-streams, making a whole lot of public health officials and doctors nervous as roaches when the lights flash on. Mom impersonator Rochelle Walensky, chief of the CDC, has concealed much dire information about the number of “vaccine” injuries and fatalities of the past year, while still importuning everybody to vaxx-up and boost-up, knowing they might be harmed by it. Does she just skate on that? And then, of course, there is Dr. Fauci, missing in action lately. (Anybody look for him down in Paraguay?) The clock is ticking on when the millions of lawsuits might commence along with prosecutions for crimes against humanity.
Cue “Joe Biden,” then, to crash the global economy and give folks other things to think about — like, how am I going to keep driving sixty miles each way to work with gasoline at $8 a gallon? How, indeed, is anything like an advanced economy going to stagger forward now that nobody in the world will sell each other anything? Well, it probably just won’t. All that’s left is the sound of money being shot out of cannons, and nobody seems to notice that it gets shredded in the process. America has gazed into the abyss and apparently decided to sign a lease and move in.

I read the article on your recommendation, Beryl, and I agree. Good article. Then I explored her site and read some more. Von Reitz makes many interesting points, but the heavy seasoning with religious principles turned me off, as it nearly always does. Many of us here swim easily with that current, even if unreligious ourselves. And if that current helps get us to our aspirations, well, it feels justified. But, is it really?

Last week I was worried about Putin launching nukes. This week, I’m worried that it will be us. It’s clear at this point that there’s nothing the home team won’t’ do, even if it means vaporizing the planet.
I continue to look for a US false flag nuke event right here at home to kick off the festivities. Wonder which red state metroplex will win the lottery? My money’s on Colorado Springs/Denver area (Cheyenne Mountain Complex), Omaha (Offutt AFB), or Kansas City (Whiteman AFB nearby), in that order.
How about Washington D.C. that would sure save a lot of trouble and solve many problems in fact make it a big one for congress is of no value and haven’t been for generations, but it seems the people never noticed because they send the same old dogs back again and again and will do so in the coming midterm elections.

I actually think that “same same” is an adequate and accruate descriptor…
Recalling the incidents, it did have the markings of a color revolution with NGOs involved in some capacity. Still, from memory, one large issue was creating and enforcing extradition to be ‘tried’ on the mainland. An entirely different system than the developed legal system in HK as a former British colony and a legit issue.
I think there’s more to come regarding how SARS-CoV-19 came to be and how it was released.
Perhaps the Russian military be filling in a few blanks as time passes.

Hong Kong does not have an extradition treaty with Taiwan, so the man went free. The legislature introduced a bill to remedy that problem.
It shows the power of the media that Americans can look at violent rioters smashing businesses, beating an elderly man to death with a brick, taking over the airport, etc., all in defense of a violent woman murderer….and wax eloquent about ”freedom” for those oppressed Hong Kongers.

Recall that the status quo was of Hong Kong having a functional, independent, non-Communist (non-CCP) government, with its own freedom guarantees for (e.g.) Internet access, freedom of speech, of assembly, of economic activity, of travel, and a long list of other British-inherited traditions. This was the status quo (now eliminated).
The PRC had sworn up and down, and given written guarantees when the British handover occurred, of NO annexation until 2049. And then they grabbed Hong Kong anyway, attempted through deceitful means (a kind of “color revolution from the top,” machinations from Beijing, followed by armed force) and Hong Kong was thus crushed.
It was a moral betrayal by the PRC, and a disturbing sign of how a now-rich PRC wants to operate in the world.
But the critical thing is, the agent or actor attempting a radical change of status-quo was not the hundreds of thousands of Hong Kong protestors but the PRC and its intelligence services and media and police forces and all the arms of the state.
They didn’t need to crush and annex Hong Kong (by annex, I mean eliminate its independent government and crush those loyal to it). The people basically defending the status quo were the protestors. This basic framework does not fit the “color revolution” line, or, if it does, it seems to loosely fit the PRC better, as the actor attempting a sweeping regime change.
Off all the big “state-medias” out there, one ought to perhaps be most cautious about the PRC’s.

The problem with ‘being sovereign’ is that to really do that, one must first give up the social security number, which is your number of a US corporate slave/citizen. Doing so, breaks your contract with the US Corp to be their slave/citizen. If you do that , there are questions about whether you can have a driver’s license, professional license, etc., and you can definitely not receive social security OR pensions that are tied to the SS# in ALL cases, or receive ANY services tied to that government number (e.g. Medicare or supplements). I’m looking at retiring in Mexico and eventually renouncing the SS# and Corp US slave status/ ‘citizenship’. Final decision Depends on who wins the current war(s).

The bitterness and best processing method depends on the variety. Acorn jelly is a popular traditional food here. In the fall we see older women out in the oak forests collecting acorns. Knowing how to process acorns into nutrition seems like a valuable “long emergency” skill.

Some kinds are fairly low in tanins. White oak acorns are much lower in tanins than red oak acorns. (The red oak ones are basically inedible.) The best white oak acorns come from burr oaks, and they are huge. The flavor is somewhat reminiscent of coconut.
One suggestion for leaching out the tanins is to crush them a bit and hang them in your toilet tank in a mesh bag for a week or two, though I’ve never tried that method.

I’ve known many gay men over the years. Most died of AIDS many years ago, but a couple of them are still living. Most were fine people.
However, my only remaining gay friend that I still talk to has changed a great deal since those long-ago days when we first met in college in the 70s. Back then, he was deeply religious and even planned to become a monk. He was strongly conservative and believed in personal responsibility–and liked to lecture people about it. My usual reply to the victimhood thing is to point out that I don’t know anyone who hasn’t had it tough. My usual reply to the demand to be liked is that there are many people who don’t like me, and I don’t consider the resulting emotional trauma to be a political or legislative issue.
Don’t stop at the personal. They are a group with group consciousness. They want special rights like affirmative action. They want to be able to destroy those who look at them wrong.
