That something wicked we spoke of coming our way…? Well, it came. Now we know why Nancy Pelosi has been running around in a fright mask with her hair on fire, and it’s not just a ghoulish anticipation of Halloween. Her Democratic Party is in extremis. It is shot through with the cancer of falsehood and the wormholes of crime, acquired through decades of playing fast and loose with the machinery of government. Nancy has been informed and she remains stuck in the rage stage of the grief cycle. Somebody sent her a copy of that hard-drive. The thing she feared would not end well is actually turning out worse than she thought.
I have a theory about Joe Biden: He didn’t want to run for president. Not one eensy-weensy bit. He wanted a nice, quiet retirement with his fat government pension plus sundry millions that had somehow found its way into his bank account over the years. He had a fabulous $16-million gentleman’s estate to gambol upon with his beloved grandchildren. The developing brain-fog was actually a comfort, allowing him to forget the rigors of public service and all the tedious gathering of… honoraria, shall we say. But then they came for him…!
The Party called. Rather specifically, his old Kemosabe, Barack Obama, called him in for that ominous sit-down and gave him the bad news: Joe, you’ve gotta run. Bernie, Liz, and the rest of those bozos, they won’t keep a lid on it. You’re in this thing as deep as we are and it’s getting a little hairy. You’ve got to do it for the sake of the party, and all our… friends….
And so, Joe Biden was shanghaied into running for president. He was given a bodyguard of news media, including those crucial new additions, the social media, Twitter and Facebook, where, increasingly, information was hubbed for transmission among the voters. They would protect him infallibly from any damaging narratives. In fact, they would generate powerful counter-narratives to keep their adversaries off-balance. If Joe could just roll with it until November 3rd, they could lay all their… problems… to rest, bury all that annoying insinuendo about the hobgoblin Deep State (ha!), and finally breathe easy.
And so, trailing rather pathetically in the primary elections after being dubbed an old racist by his opponents, and drubbed in Iowa and New Hampshire, Joe somehow managed to sweep the table on Super Tuesday — apparently due to the single, magical endorsement of one congressman James Clyburn (SC, 6th District), a narrative that was swallowed like a May River oyster by the credulous all over the land. And thus anointed, Joe retreated to his fabled basement for the whole election season, venturing intermittently into empty parking lots and airplane hangars to offer proof-of-life while a polling disinfo campaign by his media bodyguard vouchsafed his inevitable victory. Looked like a sure thing in September… pack up all my cares and woe… and so forth….
And then, something broke. Well, some news, actually, a wonder considering the Democratic tank that The New York Times, The WashPo, CNN, MSNBC, and all the rest had jumped in. Long about mid 2019, some jamoke in the jamoke state of Delaware got possession of some laptop computers brought in for servicing on account of water damage — like, what??? They fell into a hot tub??? Anyway, the customer, one R. Hunter Biden, never retrieved (or paid for) the computers which, under Delaware law and the service agreement of the computer repair shop, became the property of said repair shop and its jamoke proprietor, one John Paul Mac Issac. Mr. Mac Issac had a peek inside one of them that still worked — now legally his property — and, lo and behold, he noticed some familiar names among the emails along with an impressive video of the laptop’s owner using drugs while cavorting with a naked woman.
Mr. Mac Issac contacted the FBI. At first, they brushed him off, but then, weeks later, showed up with a subpoena for the computer and seized it. Impeachment season was upon us! CIA agent Eric Ciaramella, advised by fellow NSC member Col. Alexander Vindman, had cooked up a “whistleblower” complaint for crusading congressman and RussiaGate impresario Adam Schiff (D-CA), and the game was on! Mr. Mac Issac apparently followed the impeachment soap opera on the airwaves. The proceedings included no mention of the laptop and the information, or, shall we say, the evidence, it contained. He began to grok the significance of the material dumped in his lap by this wayward customer, R. Hunter Biden, and began to wonder how come the FBI was just sitting on all that. You’d think the FBI would have turned it over to the president’s lawyers since it amounted to what might be construed as exculpatory evidence of a high order. Or that FBI Director Christopher Wray might have apprised Attorney General William Barr of the laptop’s existence. In any event, the President’s lawyers made their case against impeachment without it. Weird, a little bit.
So, more time went by and Mr. Mac Issac grew a little suspicious, a little impatient. The FBI would not deign to return his phone calls. A fastidious fellow, he had made a copy of the laptop’s hard-drive. So, he up and handed another copy over to Rudy Giuliani, a former federal prosecutor of some renown, and one of President Donald Trump’s lawyers. Mr. Giuliani easily recognized what was in there: a detailed map of the Biden family’s world-wide grifting operations, plus graphic evidence of R. Hunter Biden’s moral depravity. Which brings us up to date… almost.
The bodyguard of news media protection was breaking under the weight of all that bad faith, perfidy, hypocrisy, lying, money-grubbing, and depravity. The story of the Biden family’s gothic doings was loose in the land despite every strenuous effort to suppress it, and now the suppressors were starting to look really bad… so bad that Twitter founder Jack Dorsey was about to be hauled into the Senate Judiciary Committee for some ‘splainin’ — that is, a gentle reminder that he is not the Master of the Universe he bethinks himself to be, but rather a member of a society based on rules, traditions, and a consensual understanding of decent behavior.
That’s only the beginning of where all this goes. Other leaks are springing in the great Democratic dike, and they are short of Little Dutch boy volunteers who can plug the holes holding back a cold sea of infamy. There is, for instance, the fabled Anthony Weiner laptop, yes, the one that was seized in 2016 as part of the Hillary Clinton email probe. It somehow ended up in the possession of the New York City Police Department. Turns out it contains 340,000 emails between Hillary and her top aide of twenty years, Huma Abedin, wife of disgraced congressman Anthony Weiner. Trouble is, Mr. Weiner had no security clearance and it was, after all, his laptop. Rumor is that Ms. Abedin is now talking to prosecutors. Will that be consequential?
Also turns out one Bevan Cooney, a former business associate of R. Hunter Biden, who is cooling his heels in a federal slammer for a securities fraud conspiracy, was pissed-off enough at being left holding the bag that he gave his email account and password to investigative reporter Peter Schweizer, author of Clinton Cash and Profiles in Corruption, who is now poring over the 26,000 emails exchanged between the various business partners. Wait for it….
Also turns out that Devon Archer, another R. Hunter Biden partner, and fellow Burisma Board member, just had his conviction re-instated in the same securities fraud case that Mr. Cooney was convicted in, and Mr. Archer faces up to ten years’ time on his charges — an incentive, perhaps, to make a deal for information about his storied career with R. Hunter Biden in exchange for a reduced sentence.
The Biden campaign announced on Sunday that it was “putting a lid” on the candidate’s activities for the week so that he can study up for the final “debate” with President Trump. I suspect there’s a whole lot more than that going on in the basement, namely, discussions of how Mr. Biden might still gracefully withdraw from the race. Let’s face it, he’s barely been going through the motions for the past three months. Joe Biden is a dead man walking. If he stays in, the Democratic party is finished. Nancy Pelosi can stop worrying about getting her hair done. It will be burnt off entirely.

Humans are religious, and perhaps even superstitious by nature, so I’m not exactly sanguine about this evidence altering people’s opinions. The kinds of people who watch MSNBC and to a lesser extent CNN, can watch antifa and BLM burn a city, haul people out of their cars, and beat them to death, and somehow worry about Colonel Klink teaming up with the Kremlin (the dreaded “Commie Nazis” that the McBain character in “The Simpsons” warned us about). They can watch Nancy Pelosi screaming like Faye Dunaway in the third act of “Mommy Dearest” and prattle about Trump being unstable. They can watch Jerry Nadler literally defecate in his pants on national television (look up “Jerrold Nadler craps his pants”) and remain unswayed. Take these true believer Boomers and give them a lot of low IQ ringers brought in from the Third World to vote as they’re told, and it may be enough to tip the scales for Biden, even if he doesn’t know where he is, even if it hastens the suicide of the West and makes their grandchildren literal targets for the ascendant coalition represented by “The Squad.”
Yup.
“Humans are religious, and perhaps even superstitious by nature, so I’m not exactly sanguine about this evidence altering people’s opinions.”
There are a barrage of new – seemingly – pre-funded fierce media and online campaigns to debunk the origins of Islam and whether there was really an ‘Islam at all.
This has not been the trend when the 1980s Afghanistan War, Khumaini’s revolution in Iran and Wars over Iraq were pre-occupying the Western Media 24/7 for decades!
This has not been the trend when in the 1980s oil and coal have not been depleted to today’s levels.
Humans’ opinions can be altered when seas and mountains of fossil fuels are burned in pre-planned operations to change opinions.
Whatever the degree of success or failure that brain-washing process will achieve, humans will change their opinion again the day fossil fuels that put behind altering their opinions deplete and stop flowing.
Socio-economic systems, like those JHK is discussing on this site, are Energy systems, too, and they are governed at root by Physics not humans!
Humans needed to realise fossil fuels are so precious, burning them to craft opinions is colossally primitive.
Humans remain primitive species.
Actually, having them burned almost all fossil fuels in a mere 300 years achieving nothing more than what this article catalogues – proves humans are the most primitive across all the animal kingdom.
Wail.

Yes, that is exactly right. Jim, for his acuity, believes in applying societal rules now long vanished in and around the great American political shithouse, namely those of decency, integrity, rule of law, telling like it is. It really does not matter that on any day when the presumptive next president of the land is not loaded on uppers and mind-defoggers, he is a useless zombie. It does not matter that he no longer can tell if a number of such and such is in thousands, millions or billions. It does not matter if he and his son milked the teat of his high office for all it could give. It would not matter if he raped schoolgirls. It would not matter because most American voters these days are driven by the rawest hatreds and fears, and would not admit anything that the MSM and social media brand as a smear campaign by the most detestable human being born in America who stole his way to the presidency.
Plain talk, please. Who is the detestable humam being born in America who stole….presidency?
There’s a lot in what you say, Joe.
Look at all the people who believe you can stop a virus with a face diaper.
No, no. It reduces viral load, you see!
Never mind that it functions like a fence to a mosquito — I said viral load!
Greetings:
I in believe in science based medicine, especially since I love reading history books, and working, and still am past 40 years front line hospital guy. So I asked our senior Infectious Disease doc about masks, and he offered a challenge.
Beryl please go into a area with a person that has active TB, or the ever growing drug resistant TB without a mask. I shall wear a mask, and you not, and if you do not get TB, this poor old front line health care worker will buy you all of JHK’s books.
JHK awesome Halloween flavor of our current state of entropy. Happy Birthday, but all my fellow co workers who are liberal, there are many, will ignore all your writings about Joe. ( Buy yourself a lottery ticket for your birthday, support education, while it lasts)
The particle sizes of TB are significantly larger than that of a virus – so masks do work for TB. They just don’t work for viruses.
A medical mask like an N95 or N99 does help — quite a bit, actually.
The issue is that no one can wear one for everyday activities, and they need to be changed regularly.
The cloth mask some are attempting to force on us are, however, useless. Which makes a person of reasonable intelligence quesiton why some are so intent on forcing them.
I had the displeasure of sharing a small room with a mexican migrant who was coughing up his lungs, not a pleasant sight I might add, fucking Marine Corps. I didn’t catch it or anything like it.
If you need your comfort cloth placebo or your status symbol which I think is the most logical explanation coming from a white “liberal” you can keep them, just keep your hysteria and biases to yourself, OK?
joejoepelligrino
Agreed. The vast majority of American’s are still ignorant
of the Clinton shenanigans years later.
Sadly, I believe your points hold for quite a few of the mentally benumbed zombies that haunt our once fair land.
Joe, I’m with you, I think these democrats would vote for these offal if they found sleepy joe in bed with a real donkey. Heck, we may still find yet another laptop with a video of him, pelosi and harris all frolicking in a barn somewhere. The only thing that matters to me is proof positive that these assholes who tried to oust President Trump were all guilty of insane crimes and grift. For a long time the deep state/liberal media was able to suppress all the real evidence of crimes committed by the left wing nut jobs and attack a president that at least tried to clean up the mess in DC. I think we’re done, millennials are brainwashed by the feminist left wing morons such as the squad and others and in a few years it won’t matter if Trump wins or not this year, it’s a matter of when these scum bags take over. Sad as I was the first in my family to have been born in this once great nation and grew up through the 50’s, 60’s when America was at it’s peak both in terms of leadership of the free world and what at least appeared to be a justice system that cared about human rights. The greed and lust for power is downright scary as evidenced by that whore bag hillary clinton and others. We fought the good fight but when you have free rein to brainwash millions of young minds it’s pissing into the wind. Hey, ay least I got to enjoy liberty through my youth and middle age, these fools will NEVER feel freedom and free will.
Happy Birthday Jim!
Hear, hear.
Yep, maintain orbital velocity, take no wooden nickels and remember: it’s “Shiny side up / Greasy side down”.
Many happy returns, Jim !
Outstanding summary, but I doubt much will register with the general public since the MSM will give this short, if any shrift, or will somehow try to pin it all on Putin; the computer repairman in actuality being a deep cover Russian agent like that Charles Bronson in Telefon all those years back…
Hunter was actually also business pards with WHITELY BULGER’S nephew for crying out loud, and not a ripple from the media. Could you imagine the indignant shrieking if Ivanka or Don Jr. were??
I am sure we will all find out in the next year if Ivanka and Jared et al. were really Daddy’s perfect little angels while he was president. Both parties are insanely corrupt and always have been. As Donny would say, “It is what it is.”
Meanwhile people standing in food lines and facing impending evictions have bigger priorities on their minds.
Yeah any minute now we’re going to find out that Jared and Ivanka are smoking crack . You’re a sick bastard.
Yes indeed, your name-calling will make us independent voters really want to come over to your side. Great strategy, keep it up.
Oh, but it’s just fine for you to impune and demean Trump’s daughter and son In law with your vague assertion that they are ” not angels”, without the slightest proof of ANY wrongdoing on their part. But being “independent” , you just KNOW they are guilty of something, it just hasn’t been revealed yet. Lol.
so you are an independent struggling with your vote? I think not.
try again
An “independent” like The Rock, who unquestioningly endorsed ‘Ol White Joe door POTUS in a New York minute. Mhm.
Weak sauce indeed.
I will double down and say you have never voted anything but a straight Democrat ticket your entire life.
Deny it all you want but we ALL know its true.
Gustatus, you’re making it a lot easier for me to decide. Try again.
Look in the mirror. You’re the low information voter
everyone is worried about.
Kim. You honestly think attacking and being condescending will make us undecideds vote for Trump? Think again.
I read Kunstler’s blog religiously and a plethora of other sources and am very informed. Now it’s your turn to make a case of how Trump has actually made life better for us than it was 4 years ago. Good luck.
Nope make the case how he and not his opponent have made it worse.
I suspect if you are honest you will see the Democrats, the media and their supporters have caused all the problems.
That and the fear of this ridiculous china flu.
With all the spying going on, if there were dirt on the Trumps, why does the MSM go out of its way to make stuff up against the president?
They’d have it already, but they have to go fishing through his LEGAL tax returns to make believe he’s corrupt.
That Bronson pic is a must-see. WOW. Donald Pleasance chewing the carpet, Bronson at his stolid best. Pure paranoia.
Nice reference to ‘Telefon’, the 1977 classic film directed by Don Siegel who also directed the forever great ‘Dirty Harry’ in 1971.
Mr. Biden will not withdraw from the race, ‘gracefully’, or any other way. The die is cast; we vote in two weeks and may the best man win. Oh wait, there isn’t a best man.
Trump is set to be the next Kennedy.
But I agree, Biden does not disappear. It all comes down to how successful the Uniparty is with election fraud.
Trump makes every other president before him look not only impotent, but OWNED.
Teddy Roosevelt comes close, but his decision to run as an independent makes him a TOOL, like Perot, who made possible the Wilson Presidency, Jekyll Island, WWI and the FED
So Teddy pales in comparison to Our Donald….. I want him installed as Emperor for Life
Night Owl-
I would not be surprised if the Left is currently dusting off plans for executive action.
I really, really hope Trump keeps his own private security team very close at hand.
Indeed. What he has accomplished to date is incredible. I have no doubt there has already been an attempt on his life. Part of me wonders if that is what the COVID theater was really about.
Trump’s greatest accomplishment? He forced the American people to open heir eyes and face the rot and corruption of The Swamp despite our natural aversion to dealing with the more unsavory aspects of politics. No one can ever look at our compromised intelligence community again with the same degree of apathy and unquestioning loyalty it has generated for nearly a century. And that goes double for the Democratic Party, now exposed as a lurching zombie horror intent on the destruction of the republic for its own purposes.
Speaking of the BLM – Unilever is running a commercial on Reelz channel for Vaseline featuring a pregnant black woman with BLM inked on her midsection, talking about her “beautiful BLACK baby”! Can you imagine the uproar if it were a white woman talking about her beautiful WHITE baby?…
TBH, who cares. I never understand the uproar about this stuff. The people putting this schlock out WANT you to be upset about it.
Divide and conquer. Old as time.
Should have been a fat white girl.
Happy birthday James ! Great read as always, just hope something resembling justice emerges from the festering wound formally known as the Democrats.
Come to the Southwest, New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, California – the place is BURSTING with low IQ, high fertility Mexicans, Hondurans, El Salvadoreans and other detritus –
None of which know anything about Government but how big their check will be, and if and when they get better SNAP benefits.
Just think>… there are 600 million JUST LIKE EM … eyeing the border.
Living in Lubbock TX, I think Mexicans are pretty darn smart and industrious. I’m no open borders dumbass but your comment is racist and stupid
MC Hammerabi – I agree. It’s unfortunate to see Kunstler’s blog turn into the new Breitbart.com.
What a stupid statement.
You agree that the opinions of people not in lock step with your errant beliefs makes you angry?
Or is that just hearing the unvarnished truth that bothers you?
I’m glad I’m not the only one to notice the similarities with breibart. I’ve seen several go that route and it all has to do with site traffic. Lots of money in feeding the loonies.
Silly bit of anti-white bigotry on your part. I wish they would smart and industrious their former countries but instead they show up here so you can pretend to virtue, not impressed.
Are you writing this irresponsible rubbish to yourself?
Hmm, but Obama noticeably took a long while to give his endorsement.
Biden would be removed because he will lose his media cover, forced to leave and he would then Harris and a flunky to be named later would be appointed.
That is if Trump loses and Biden-Harris win which I don’t think so.
Obama knows how dim Biden is. He babysat him for eight years.
He waited until the price was right. Mansions in all-white neighborhoods
can be awfully expensive.
Doesn’t matter at all, JHK. Too many plebes in the big cities and elsewhere have been lemmingified to the point of mass credulity being a badge-of-honor. The social engineering proceeding apace behind the scenes makes democratic structures of placing people in power a perfect mechanism for Machiavellian wannabes. An example I find among my children – one having finished high school and the other nearing the same – is that their schooling never taught them proper home economics or critical thinking. They envisioned pre-calculus algebra and the Krebs cycle more important, information that would degrade over the summer break and was only of esoteric use.
When the MSM bobbleheads can simply ejaculate a dime-store excuse – todays is “Russian bots smear campaign” – and the public download and execute it, what can we do? We are at the cusp of Brave New World becoming gospel, with 1984 envisioned as the new Constitution.
Numerous friends and acquaintances who were happy to accept the most unlikely details of the preposterous Russian Collusion hoax as Gospel Truth are now insisting that there is no reason to believe a word of the mountain of evidence of Biden family corruption.
How is one to regard this level of hypocrisy, and the people who embrace it?
If Biden somehow wins the election next month, are we to regard the Harris Administration as legitimate?
If Trump wins again, we know damn well that half the country will insist for the next four years that he did not.
This election is not about the diehard fanatics but that 8% that can be swayed. Independents decide the election and the independents are breaking hard for Trump. Also, we know that independents get a third of their news from conservative sources so they will be exposed to the knowledge of what is going on and they might wonder what is going on and explore it on the web where there are fewer filters.
Frankly, the two town hall debates illustrated this more than anything else. The independents that watched bits of both saw for their own eyes and heard with their own ears how that went down. Frankly, no one was talking about what Biden had to say the next day but only how wildly different the two town halls were.
Good comment.
Check out http://www.lewrockwell.com … the Libertarians are LIVID about the Covid SCAM, the lockdowns, and the ongoing control over speech.
Libertarians used to break left AND right — or often, their own candidates – knowing they would lose, but as a protest vote.
Check out Lew Rockwell and check the temperature over there…. THESE ARE VERY VERY UNHAPPY independents…. they want a hanging …. in every lockdown state.
Bad news for Dims
Libertarians are goofs who always virtue signal left.
Zoltar,
I struggle with this question a lot. Most of the people I have known for years are in that boat, which to me means that they have totally lost their moral compass, and that means they never really had one.
Yes, that is what this is really about. A moral compass. Truth vs lies.
I, too, have been quite disappointed to see how many I know are dedicated to upholding fantasy in their lives.
It is hard though. I made a personal commitment to myself a few years back that I was done with BS of all sorts. I fly straight, and I expect those around me to, as well.
Hard at first, but one builds solid foundations slowly. A nice side benefit is that it becomes incredibly easy to identify pieces of shit in all walks of life.
@Zoltar:
“How is one to regard this level of hypocrisy, and the people who embrace it?”
As testimony to the nature of human beings.
As justification for the founders’ fear of “democracy”.
As a portent of a turbulent future.
Et cetera.
Xactly Zoltar. There’s some kind of mind freakery going on when this many people hate a man so much they’re willing to trash their own country. The part about the “Russian Collusion hoax as Gospel Truth are now insisting that there is no reason to believe a word of the mountain of evidence of Biden family corruption” to me anyway displays the degree to which brainwashing of our children has destroyed a once great nation/Republic in a matter of several generations. The whole thing is sad and I suspect another example of “how empires due”. And besides, it really doesn’t matter is Trump wins in 2020 or not, matter of time till the offal in this country feel the pain that is def coming.
Wow! A man with uncommon common sense. Excellent and accurate comment. Try to post more.
Yes a very good summary. I’ve said for years the D-party big wig mafia dons basically communicate in the open such as openly making crooked deals over electronic comms and it is all recorded and the Deep State is in on it. The big Pols get millions the little Deep State functionaries can keep from being unemployed and having to go live with the bottom half of the D-party voting bloc.
Exactamente…. Inner city detritus, plus illegals, DACA and the unassimilated Latinos….
Add the gazillion public employees, who don’t want accountability, or change in the size and scope of government at every level….
ADD Hollywood, which includes not just the anti aging zealots in need of a fresh supply of fetal tissue, but the pedophile network, which we now know is ENORMOUS and worldwide.
ADD the techies, and billionaires who welcome the GREEN AGENDA that destroys the middle class living standards, in favor of a CARBON NEUTRAL planet where Bezos, Gates, Zuck, Dorsey run the show….
They have private jets, islands and supply chains,,, and WE join the urban detritus to get our monthly check.
THAT is quite some alliance.
While watching YouTube videos yesterday on how to tan sheep hides, I noticed DT’s rally was live-streaming in Nevada. Satisfied the fleece front would hold, I thought what the hell? Let’s give Don a quick if uncharacteristic listen. I couldn’t believe it, yet saw it for myself. He sounds like he’s seen Jesus on the road to Damascus. Facts at his fingertips, effortlessly riffing, a man who has found his mission in life. “When I said I would drain the swamp, oh boy I did not know how deep it was.” The crowd was having a great time, breaking into chants, the cheers, boos and screams of a World Wrestling Federation event. Trump pointed at the cameras and clearly named the demons “we’re running against:” sending jobs to China, ridiculous wars, endemic corruption, Wall Street, censorship, Big Tech and the Mainstream Media. Not in a million years did this seem possible, but he looked powerful and Presidential–he projected optimism, inner peace and an observable sense of joy. I am a jaded, deeply disillusioned tech exec who has witnessed much and predicted Trump’s first victory. What I never predicted was that he could grow into the job and give me, even at this painful remove, a glimmer of hope.
He looks positively giddy lately. I look forward to The Storm continuing to unfold.
Whereas I am losing hope, not so much about a Trump victory, as about justice ever being served. It looks like Barr and probably even Durham are CIA assets.
Add Wray, and that cunt at the CIA … her name isn’t worth remembering… because by November’s end … she will be toast as well.
I want public hangings…. drag em down Pennsylvania Ave and let each of us kick em!!!
Right on gustafus. Remember Romania 1989.
Save me a spot, I’m getting my work boots resoled with heavy metal plates.
I don’t see how indictments drop before the election.
As I have said, the scale is massive. Trump has one shot to crush this cabal. One mistake and it is over.
That said, depending on who comes after Trump, it may be over anyways.
He’s doing two of these a day. All are last minute events and tens of thousands of people show up. Biden and Harris did an event in Arizona last week and not a single person came.
We are about to witness what happened in 1984 as I think Trump could even take California.
Speaking from San Diego I see Trump flags everywhere the only place I really see signs of Biden support are the very liberal parts of town (gay) and the beach areas.
benr–I think you are in North County. Down here in North Park (population of North Park is 50K….I think) it is BLM and Biden all the way. There are flags. Handwritten signs in windows. Chalk on the sidewalk. Cars painted with BLM justice peace stuff. “No one is illegal” signs at every 8 houses.
Signs that say “Bye Don” and signs that saying “Make Lying Wrong Again. Vote Biden. Harris.”
I walk every day for an hour all about the neighborhood. I have seen exactly ONE house with a Trump sign and very concerned about them. They know they risk vandalism or worse.
However, I know a fair amount of people IN THE neighborhood that are voting Trump. I also know people from work that have voted Trump and will again. But it is a secret. Too risky to tell people in CA about that.
a fair amount of people IN THE neighborhood – Riicechex

Just curious, what is the significance of using caps for the words IN THE?
Regarding political signs on people’s lawns, telephone polls, etc., in years past there would be signs everywhere in my town and surrounding area but this year I have seen only one sign and one bumper sticker. Both were for Biden as might be expected since I live in a solid blue state, county and town in the shadow of pinko commie Rutgers. The bumper sticker said “anybody but Trump” and may have been a leftover from 4 years ago.
My guess is people don’t want to display signs for fear of retaliation.
I would never put a Trump sign out in my area. I happen to like the windows in my car. Funny thing is most of the people I meet and talk to are Trump supporters and my state is the bluest of the blue. I’ll admit I don’t really associate with anyone but, fireman, cops, and gun nuts.Hillary kicked Trumps ass if that means anything. They are quite sick of the woke bullshit.
Q, I still have an 8 YO Obama sticker on my truck. His grinnin face with the words, “Does this ass make my car look big?”

Aha ha hahahaha bwah haha haha ha etc. etc. etc.
Morning in America!
I read 8 people showed up.
The people you mention were invited by reporters, crew or staff. Not a single voting member of the public came to his “mega” rally.
Something about that business in Arizona is puzzling… for as much savvy as Dems are showing – covering for Bathhouse Barry, Wife Mike, – and the Deep State players…
You would think they would have a handle on attendance at these Biden rallies….. Dems are dim, but not THAT dim.
What gives? … they are allowing photos of empty seats? Day after day?….. something doesn’t smell right.
Seems like they are in dire financial straits. After all there is Rent A Crowd Inc.
Trump is essentially using Air Force One to run a modern version of the political campaigns that used to stump from a train caboose.
It’s a brilliant strategy. It totally bypasses the media and Big Tech and gets him in front of the people. It’s a great contrast to hidin’ Biden.
I honestly don’t know where he finds the energy to do this.
Thank you. I was feeling low yesterday, concerned with early voting results.
94% , with no worries.
He finally woke up to the COVID scam. He knew early on that there was a hoax surrounding a real disease, but he didn’t understand just how big it was, or who was in on it.
Thank God.
Happy Bday to JHK. After reading JHKs blogs. I am always surprised by how much the MSM leaves out and how they create a narrative that has little to do with reality.
Jim, If it is your birthday, well, Happy Birthday!
10 years ago, on your birthday, could you imagine this Democrat Party?
We’re all Republicans now.
The msm only has traction with the small percentage of people who are too lazy to think. Years of hyped “news” all negative about Trump has worn out the desired impact. Trumps rally numbers portend the election results. Biden/Harris held a joint rally in Az last week (?) with numbers below three digits. The news reported was stunned. Golem-esque carville will be sucking mud come 2230 election night vice the bubbly. As with hillderbeast in 16, projecting a false reality based on biased polling DOES NOT translate to real world outcome. Get ready to L&L in dem cities (whilst here in southern virginne, life continues at a leisurely pace sans restrictions voiced by gov blackface.) Just put 100 rounds (.357) down range yesterday. Will follow with rifle drill today. Practice what you preach. Nuff said.
Happy birthday Jim. I am afraid that it won’t be too long before people are nostalgic for 2020 if the downward trend in social mood continues. Your residence in Upstate New York will probably be a lot safer than your former digs in NYC. Keep safe Jim, we will need to hear your voice in the coming years.
Such a delight to read your essays James. It’s like reading Harry Potter except the characters are from modern politics.
I’m absolutely disgusted that ANY American would actually vote for these creeps. But it goes to show how effective propaganda and brainwashing can be. The country is one election away from total disaster, total disaster being the democrats finally seizing power and become permanently entrenched. That’s all they need at this point: to cross the finish line, like Hannibal who came agonizingly close to sacking Rome before being repelled.
I had hoped to see enough mettle in the American people to take comfort in the belief that should it come to civil war, the Dems would lose decisively. But I’m not seeing it. Like you said a few blog posts ago, the entire nations has been turned into cowering hostages who won’t speak their minds, or even defend themselves from lawless mobs, for fear of being cancelled.
It’s no exaggeration to say that the fate of civilization itself is at stake in this election. Should the forces hostile to freedom prevail in the US, the rest of the world will follow suit and become authoritarian too.
Shox
Remember this is a globalist effort. It is going on everywhere.
Two questions,
Are we going against the wrong entity, China, relative to the Covid outbreak? Did the globalists leak the crud? Remember the WHO response to the start of the pandemic. The CDC , WHO and Chinese were all involved in the virology lab that probably leaked the stuff.
Do you think they are active in Russia, is that the reason why Putin wants no part of the Democrats and has banned Soros from Russian soil.
Why can’t the US ban that SOB?
I strongly concur with James Kunstler’s position on one subject: I am ALLERGIC to conspiracy theories. The virus outbreak and China’s handling of it was so utterly chaotic, brought upon them such a loss of face (a big no-no in China) as well as untold damage to their economy, that I find it utterly implausible that this whole drama could be planned and orchestrated beforehand.
When in doubt, default to Occam’s Razor. The Chinese were messing around with a bat virus in the lab. They brought it from the wild, probably ran some experiments on it trying to enhance its capabilities, maybe were trying to get ahead of the curve and develop a vaccine for it, and then it leaked and all hell broke loose. If the subsequent chaos seems to benefit the globalist agenda, this is more because the capricious winds of fate are blowing in their sails, rather than a result of their own foresight and planning.
But really, I don’t know why you’re obsessing about the globalists’ agenda. What the future holds is a breakdown of all complex centralized and globalized system and a disintegration into decentralized local units. Collapse means the simplification of society. Whatever the globalists are planning, it will NOT work. There won’t be the energy or natural resources for it.
An astute analysis that I agree with. One point where I differ with you is in timing. I believe there’s still just enough resources remaining for those in power to maintain their power for a short period. Of course, when resources run out, your scenario will follow.
Resources ARE RUNNING out,…. that is what drives the Covid hoax.
Fonda called the pandemic a GIFT FROM GOD, to “reset” the global economy.
We are expected to join the proletariat, get our monthly check and foodstamps, while Bezos and company control the supply chains, and enjoy their billions as the ENFORCEMENT CLASS of the new world order.
The Mexi’s are too stupid to understand the GREEN agenda of their owners, dittos for the BLM dindo nuffin brigades….
Academics and Hollyweird, hate Bezos and Zuck, Gates, Dorsey and company as MUCH as Trump… but that’s a cage match for AFTER the Dems take the country.
and it won’t be pretty either….
Where there is secrecy involving planning by more than one person there is a conspiracy. This is the very definition of conspiracy.
Is there such in our governments?
I think there is some evidence that the globalists in the US were in cahoots with the lab in China. If it was released on purpose then it was a joint agreement.
Shox, what would you expect to see that would convince you that the conservatives were ready to actually fight?
One small thing I’d like to see is millions of deleted fb and twatter accounts.
Join Parler — it’s still small but growing with every purge.
https://twitter.com/AirBossUT – has been suspended, and now operates over at Parler… Ditto for Bill Mitchell … two of the most important voices on election night.
ONLY airbossUT and Bill Mitchell had the blow by blow on battleground counties in various states. I KNEW Trump won hours before anyone following cable news or even the internet.
THAT is why these two are GONE from twitter… they are insiders insiders…
Each purge sends more and more operatives to Parler. Check it out.
@sophia
“Shox, what would you expect to see that would convince you that the conservatives were ready to actually fight?”
I expect to see counter-insurgency militia groups descending upon Antifa and BLM and tear them to pieces, without fear of being smeared by the media.
Maybe I’ll put it more simply. Suppose you’re a guy, having a good time at a nightclub, and some other guy makes a move on your girl. What do you do? Call the police and wait for them to deal with it? TO HELL WITH LEGALITIES AND FORMALITIES. There’s a grey area in which police don’t operate, a grey area in which men are required to stand up for themselves. I get up and make my presence felt. Or I introduce him to my fist. Or if he’s much bigger than me, I introduce him to my gun.
When Antifa is waging a barbaric assault on the collective memory and heritage of the nation by tearing down statues, I respond to that with the same rage as a Spanish Inquisition bearing witness to Christ’s name and cross being blasphemed and desecrated. I build a giant pyre, round up all those who are shameless enough to dishonor the culture which nurtured them and gave them so much, tie them up and burn them alive. How will the press respond? They’ve been trying desperately to build the perception in the public mind that Antifa isn’t real. That’s great, because I would have burned something that wasn’t real, leaving me with a clear conscience both ways.
The “response” to the virus was something out of Harry Potter, for sure.
Everybody hide indoors, until we give the “all clear”.
Wow.
The MSM was anti-Trump in 2016, but they did report on Hillary’s email and Benghazi scandals. They are still anti-Trump, but they have decided to not report on any Biden scandals.
Many if not most ensconced within the media/government complex know well that the entire Russian meddling thesis is a lie, and they know well the actual origins.
But they embrace the lie as a noble means to the end of eliminating Trump. Comey’s Higher Loyalty. They sleep well at night.
Given their hold on the levers of power {witness the strange case of General Flynn} there does not appear much can be done about it, other than civil war.
I will be utterly surprised if the vote counters allow Trump another term. Our host some years back broached the idea of military coup. I will be utterly unsurprised if we find military muscle supporting the vote counters.
Happy Birthday JHK; I wish you many more years of doing what you’re doing. Great and important Work!!!
NeuroDoc
Jim has been a few times now excoriated by drive-by commenters for speculating that maybe Sleepy Joe wouldn’t make the election finish line.
But now it seems a little more possible every day.
Perhaps that’s how early ballotting in favor of Biden is undone: if Biden withdraws, all the votes for Biden will still go to Biden. Who will not be an actual candidate.
I think it’s too late to withdraw. He will have to take his lumps.
I truly believe that Andrew Cuomo was the intended substitute, which would have benefitted both Andrew and Joe.
That’s why they picked the VP candidate already rejected by the Democrats, so there would be no outcry when a voter favorite was passed over for a white man.
Andrew messed up when he did not understand that families would take umbrage at his deliberately killing off their loved ones.
Cuomo’s in on something.
Go watch his reactions when Pompeo addressed the Governors’ Conference and puts them on notice that the Feds are watching the governors’ dealings with China.
I remember during Watergate The New York Times was running front page headlines over every tidbit of news on the scandal daily for a year.
Now we have what could be a much bigger scandal, and they and their brethren will barely cover it. There was a summary of it on p. 3 of my local paper, nothing in the Wall St. Journal. Consider: If this story has been made up by pro-Trump people isn’t that also newsworthy? The fact that Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon are involved with it raises red flags. There is also an intra-mural civil war going on inside the FBI as we’ve seen with the leaked emails and memos from the top brass concerning the fake Russian collusion scandal. Could they have planted Hunter Biden’s computer in that repair shop? Maybe they had it in their possession and it contained run of the mill stuff along with a bunch of dirty pictures. How hard would it be for world class computer experts in the agency to add a trove of phony emails complete with fake routing information? If the FBI was previously in possession of Hunter’s laptop, how did they get it? Was it in connection of investigating the Burisma affair? If so, they need to explain how a key piece of evidence got mislaid. Where is Hunter Biden’s lawyer in all this?
At the same time, we have a pretty good picture of the kind of person Hunter Biden is. The fact that he was raking in $1 million a year while his dad was vice president, and in charge of Ukraine should have been enough for Joe to withdraw from the race. Now it seems that’s the tip of the iceberg. Given his substance abuse problems, it’s entirely possible he left the computer at the repair shop and forgot about it. But isn’t there some kind of paper trail such as a claim check or a receipt? Does the shop owner have some documentation over when and how the computer got there? If not, why not? How come I’m the person asking these questions and not most of the press?
Hunter signed for the laptop, apparently.
The fact that he was raking in $1 million a year while his dad was vice president, and in charge of Ukraine should have been enough for Joe to withdraw from the race.
This was known BEFORE he ran. Not the full details, but we knew about Hunter getting 50K per month to sit on the board of Burisma, and we had Joe BRAGGING ON CAMERA about getting the prosecutor who was investigating his son’s company fired by threatening to withhold $1bln in aid.
The Dems could have chosen any number of people who were not this ethically conflicted, but somehow they wound up with a man engaged in dishonest graft at the top of the ticket, and a woman who slept her way up in California politics at the bottom.
The more I Look at it, the more it seems: someone wanted Trump to win, and so they fixed it so that the Dems would hav an even worse candidate than 2016. Which I did not think possible.
Dr. Tom,
Ha, ha. I agree. I thought the ’16 candidate was an all time low, yet Biden and Harris are both lower, both in corruption and, in the case of Harris, a truly dangerous personality. Well no, Biden has not actually outdone her for corruption, but has less appeal.
Tulsi could have made it an honest race, and possibly won.
They rigged it against her, and Bernie would not stand up for her when she asked him to.
I hope we have not seen the last of Tulsi.
War Vet – check
Intelligent & well spoken – check
Fierce – check
Hot – check
What”s not to like?
What’s not to like is that she was a good soldier and endorsed Biden.
I’m sure she had “the Talk” with Nancy and was given the choice of playing ball or losing the next election in Hawaii, which is owned by the Dems, and retreating to total anonymity.
Maybe she thinks if she hangs in “under cover” as it were someday she can remove the go along get along veil and be herself.
Biden or fired? Tough choice. Hang in there Tulsi
someday all will be forgiven.
Her membership (ex-membership?) in the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations). That’s as globalist as you can get.
Tulsi should break with the democratic party.
I think the Democrats tried to get a different candidate but but no one was going to be acceptable to large numbers of voters and they were stuck with Biden. Harris barely made it through a couple of rounds of debates — not even the Democrats liked her, Mayor Pete looked like character from Happy Days and the rest probably couldn’t be counted on to cover up all the grifting. Who did that leave? Biden. And I think you’re right — he just wanted to go home and see the grandkids.
If voters go for the name-brand Biden they’ll get steely-eyed Harris who will show no mercy to the man who turned in the laptop. He will instantly become a “Russian operative” and part of a “conspiracy” to throw the election to Trump. It took a lot of courage to do what he did in today’s world.
Shop owner has all the necessary documentation, including a service agreement with Hunter Biden’s signature on it. The shop owner is legally blind and can’t identify whomever dropped them off, but so am I and I can still read on a computer if the text is magnified enough. That you aren’t aware of this speaks volumes regarding the level of coverage this is getting. Hunter Biden’s lawyers are requesting the return of the computers, but at this point he has copied and disseminated the hard drives as they are legally his property, and has a deadman’s switch.
” he has copied and disseminated the hard drives” I rather hope they will mass produce the data off Hunter’s abandoned laptop and sell it to anyone on hard disks or flash drives worldwide. However, it probably has child porn on it and such widespread distribution would make that illegal.
Well, on most of the networks — and over at Drudge — they’re saying it’s a done deal for Biden/Harris, and there’s a good chance Dems will take the Senate too.
The hateful Lincoln Project videos, at least 3 or 4 per day, are devastating and degrading. I’m not sure how effective they are tho.
Brh
The good news about the Lincoln Project ads is each one is a nail in the GOP coffin. This former party needs to be destroyed, as it is the reason we are where we are today. Starting with Reagan’s second term, GOP cowardice has removed the conservative counter balance to the Democratic liberal idiocies. Without the balancing act, the balance of power goes away and we end up with the distorted Deep State uniparty situation we have now. I wonder how many of the traitors to the conservative cause are changing their voter preference cards.
Trump was a voter attempt at correcting this, we will soon see if the lesson took. Trump totally underestimated the Democratic Deep State hold on everything DC. He took over thinking he could make a deal with these scalawags and was compromised as a consequence. I hope he has a lame duck chance to attempt to rip those SOBs up during the next four years.
Amy Barrett is an outstanding move by Trump.
I think GHWB was the turning point. Instead of ending World War 2 and dialing back military spending (which only Ike had done, in part), Bush saw the chance to spend all that lucre that we spent bankrupting the Soviets onbuilding his new world order.
I’m ashamed to say I didn’t see it for Gulf War 1, but I was absolutely opposed to GW2.
Trump has returned the R’s, maybe, to the status of anti-war (or at least not pro-war) by not starting any new ones and trying to pull out of Syria and Afghanistan.
Imagine taking 800 billion dollars from the deep state/military/industrial/intelligence complex and spending it on needs here. That’s always been the issue, and the day is coming closer.
Dr Tom, the vast majority of that $800 billion is spent in the US MIC. The likes of Rocketdoc and his Alabama (?) town would bear the brunt of change like that.
John,
The problem I have with believing that Trump didn’t know the extent of the deep state is Q. Q is his team, and they know all. He/they have been naming names and spelling out the corruption of the deep state and its controlled media for 3 years now, but that is to the public. One doesn’t take down the deep state without a very comprehensive plan and knowledge. I don’t think one man could do it alone.
Totally agree! Trump’s ego and brash manner appealed to all the Rust Belt folks who elected him. His inability to deliver on most of the platform he espoused in his 2016 rallies is what is hurting him now. I believe the collective voter decision will be based on whether he can deliver during a second term.
If he wins, I hope he dumps most of the hypocritical Deep State staff that remains, starting with Barr and Christopher Wray who are still plying the waters to rid them selves of the Intruder.
If Trump wins, I hope he puts priority on ripping the guts out of the Democratic logjam in the Deep State and also destroying the Lincoln project turncoats.
How has DJT not delivered on his 2016 promises?
– Lowered legal, illegal and “refugee” immigration
– wall substantially built
– economy went like a rocket
– exited globalist treaties on climate change, civilian armament, mass immigration, TTIP, NAFTA,
– halted implantation of AFFH
– has barred anti-white training in federal government
– has vigorously fought and exposed the Deep State and Fake News
– challenged China in its trade cheating, I P cheating and industrial and military spying
I could easily go on.
He has been great on carrying out his promises.
Rush Limbaugh has stated that he used to think the media was an arm of the Democrats, but he now understands it to be the other way around.
Beryl,
Neither is correct. The deep state owns both.
I don’t know about miss Barrett. She is a suspect.
Drudge is now sludge. Drudge [now owned by who??] has been pushing corona virus panic for months.
Happy Birthday, James. And I hope there are many more in future years.
Brh
Seconded. And thanks for keeping this place open and fair.
Yet you’re still here…
Great post Jim.
Interesting that the MSM spends 24/7 trying to dig up stuff to attack Trump with and spends 24/7 trying to cover up for Biden’s gaffes and corruption history.
Does anyone else here ever read at the Tucker Carlson-linked “Revolver” website? High quality articles.
There is an excellent article today on the Never Trump, globalist NGO, “International Republican Institute” (IRI) that provides the Republican representation on the Board of the Presidential Debate Commission.
What a nest of snakes that is! Informative article proves its deep links it to Soros, globalism, anti-nationalism, color revolutions and Big Tech censorship. Chaired for 25 years by John McCain.
https://www.revolver.news/2020/10/rigged-presidential-debate-commission-frank-fahrenkopf-color-revolution/
Presidential Debate Commission decides foreign policy (ahem, Ukraine and China) will no longer be topics in the next debate.
https://thenationalpulse.com/news/presidential-debate-commission-ditches-foreign-policy-focus-following-hunter-biden-laptop-leaks/
Oh yes it will. Trump will bring it up if the moderator doesn’t.
If the commission is successful at censuring the foreign policy discussion, it should demonstrate how fixed this election really is. Remember that when you vote.
Un-f’ing-believable.
Some amazing gumshoeing this morning Mr. K! Not that anything will become of it, of course – the Beltway being an alternative universe of sorts – but it’s still encouraging to see some honest-to-god investigative journalism still taking place these days. Should Old Creepy Joe manage to get elected on Nov 3 it might just well be the beginning of the end for the old bird, as I can’t imagine the R’s will let any of this slide in the aftermath. Should make for another four years of epic muck raking and feces slinging in the nation’s capitol.
The Bidens are the same creatures as the Trumps, but a generation later.
Donald had the benefit of a rich crook father, from whom he could inherit a stake for cheating and scamming on a larger scale.
Like Trump’s father, Joe had to start from scratch but he was able to stake his son for the big time.
If Hunter had Trump’s balls and chutzpah, he would be Donald in another twenty years.
A bravura display of TDS.
Kim,
And yet we are seeing such types have at least this backhanded admission that their guy stinks. So now they say, well your guy stinks just as much as our guy. I think that’s progress!
Trump’s father was not a politician.
Of course, not. The Trumps parlayed big business into big politics; the Bidens have done it the other way around.
Exactly. The Trump family made all their money legally selling a service/product. Biden’s family made all their money using politics.
I know which one seems honest and which one seems criminal, but you have to make that decision for yourself.
“The Trump family made all their money legally selling a service/product.”
Really? Tax evasion is generally not considered ‘legal’.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SN7YFw3pQKI
Not that any of this matters – the Trumps are no better or worse than the Clintons or, apparently, the Bidens (and probably almost any other name in politics you could care to mention). Grift is a way of life in America and always has been.
After all, in the words of our esteemed CFN leader “nothing matters & nobody cares”.
Really? Tax evasion is generally not considered ‘legal’. – FreddieMars
==========
The grotesquely left-leaning NYT has duped you and probably thousands of others by writing about Trump’s tax avoidance in a way suggesting that avoidance is illegal. Well, it isn’t. It is perfectly legal. I have been trying to avoid taxes my entire working life. Evasion is illegal but avoidance is legal. Trump has probably been more thoroughly audited by the IRS than any billionaire in the country. Have they found and convicted him of tax evasion? No, not that I am aware of. How about you Freddie?
Q. Shtik
As a matter of fact, I don’t read the NYT. Just read Michael Cohen’s confession for first hand facts.
Q. Shtik – you’re a stickler for meaning & accuracy. When did I say avoidance was illegal? Not at all, you must agree.
You’re being a flat-out Trump apologist. No problems with that, but don’t disguise it as a grammatical or vocabularian correction.
When did I say avoidance was illegal? Not at all, you must agree. – Freddie
==========
Absolutely true, Fred.
I believe (without going back to re-read the pertinent comments) that what I implied was that you were duped by the NYT who pretended via weasel wording that tax avoidance was the same as tax evasion. You then threw out a red herring by saying you don’t read the NYT. Well, you don’t actually HAVE to read the NYT. Since they were the only media to acquire the Trump tax returns and write about them, any discussion about avoidance vs evasion goes back to the source, the NYT.
Let’s make this clear, evasion is illegal while avoidance is legal. Tax preparation services like H&R Block try their damnedest to help their customers avoid taxes. It is their job and it’s legal.
Further, I take umbrage with your statement that “You’re being a flat-out Trump apologist.” I will not be voting for Biden or Trump or anyone else for that matter. Not even for Dog Catcher in my home town. Nor am I serving as an apologist for either candidate. I am simply trying to correct errors. If you tell me Biden’s hair is his own I will show you before and after pics that prove he has had plugs put in… not that I give a shit about his plugs.
Q.
My view that Mr. Trump has evaded taxes is from a first-hand witness, Michael Cohen. I encourage you to read his confessional memoir.
I apologise for the Trump apologist accusation. The NYT has a swathe of detractors, rightly or wrongly, but to accuse it of having no journalistic standards is a huge reach.
Donald Trump benefitted from a loan from his wealthy father, and paid it back.
Hunter sells influence due to his wealthy father, and gives his wealthy (on a civil servant’s salary) father a cut, and has nothing to show for it.
Hunter made millions. Where did it go? Hookers and blow are not THAT expensive.
Sure they are ask Rodney King who blew through 4 million and died broke in his pool.
Happy birthday, Jim. Keep up the good work!
Happy Birthday to our Host,
I am sure he will spend the day roiling in the flesh pots of SS, New York.
…young whippersnapper….
I’d imagine that on most American’s list of priorities, Hunter Biden’s crack pipe pics are about number 117.
So what. I think you acceptance of all liberal corruption as business as usual is disgusting. You have spent the last four years bad mouthing Trump for his behavior. Now that the shoe is exposed on the other foot, everything is fine, right?
No, I haven’t. FFS, I only started commenting on here about two weeks ago.
I ignored all of the Trump Russia hullabaloo because I made a judgement early on that it was overhyped politically motivated nonsense. I’m ignoring the Hunter Biden stuff for exactly the same reason.
I take it as read that the US is a corrupt oligarchy and that the whole political system is poisoned by corporate interests. I take it as read that the US is in a state of national decline.
But I’d rather have a run of the mill grifter in the White House than an unstable, impulsive and deluded bigot.
It’s amusing, for a while, to watch Americans squabble. But the US is a dangerous country and I don’t want to see it destabilized any further.
Making China look like the mature global superpower is not a great achievement.
So stop navel-gazing and get your f***ing act together.
So you ignored Russiagate because it was phony politics and then ignored Bidengate for the same reason. You ignored the first, which shut down the government from doing its job for four years, now if Biden wins, the same thing is going to happen.
Buddy, your hatred for all things American is really hanging out there. You make a great Democrat.
Why don’t you just leave if you are in the US, or keep your own opinions to yourself if you are not. You probably live in a glass house situation where you are. Be careful of throwing too many stones.
The US has been interfering in other countries since World War II. So don’t be surprised if the rest of the world has an opinion about the US election.
The problem with your cynical position, ohyesiam, is that there is mountains of evidence that the Russia collusion narrative was a hoax and known to be a hoax by the very people promoting it, while the evidence on Hunter seems to be quite voluminous also. You can’t believe everything you hear, to be sure, but do you want to be unreachable? Even with deep state media control, the evidence on Trump is AGAINST them and the evidence on Hunter is AGAINST them. Yet it is still coming out. Something about truth… (the daughter of time).
I don’t know the solution to corruption in American politics. But if Donald Trump is your White Knight, God help you.
Jello’s triumphant return as Most Definitely Not Jello is comedy for the ages.
Yea funny that one.
Wants a second or God only knows what chance this really is and then blows it with the TDS aflicted rants.
Even funnier are the breadcrumb hints like little rabbit pellets scattered about.
Oh look, its dumb and dumber.
Ohyesiam,
Right on, 100%.
the crack pics, maybe… the fact that his old man is willing to sell out the country for a few bucks may be just a bit higher, assuming anyone cares any longer
Yeah, the crack pipe just lets us know it is Hunter’s stuff on that computer.
According to Rudy, there is much worse coming down the pike.
I have been seeing references to an “underage obsession”.
bluekayak,
The bots are now reduced to just a few lousy arguments. All politicians are corrupt so what, and the American public don’t care about pedophilia, treason and sedition.
@ ohyesiam
“What flavor ice cream did you get, Joe?”
That is the only question the media asked Joe Biden yesterday. Is that all voters care about?
Now he is in hiding until Thursday.
It’s only fair that in The Greatest Nation on Earth that is being kept alive by fake money conjuring and ongoing institutionalized corruption that we should have our political parties joining along in all the fun.
The Greatest Nation on Earth teaches its young that it is the best and greatest of all things. Well, as is abundantly clear to anyone who actually cares to look, ineptitude and corruption is on that list as well. Serving as a Great City on the Hill and Shining Example to the World of how being privileged with a great land mass and great natural resources and people who built great factories and railroads from empty prairie lands and sand dunes along lakes is no guarantee of survival or prosperity when internal rot fully takes over. We shouldn’t have worried so much about those nasty Sputnik launchers. We should have been paying much greater attention to the decay from within. A decay of institutions in many forms and in personal conduct and character.
We may not be the Titanic but we might be like the poor souls who realize that the plane they’re on is going down, the pilot can’t gain back control and likely doesn’t know what he’s doing anyway, and the solid nasty ground is getting ever closer in our uncontrolled descent.
The Bidens are a mess. They – and many others – are poster children for our times and our era.
I kind of feel sorry for Biden at this point. I mean at 78 yo who needs this bullsh#t? I’m not sure how the DNC sucked Biden into running for President at his stage in life. One thing seems certain, if Biden had quietly retired, resting on his laurels after nearly a half century in DC, nobody would care about Hunters financial peccadilloes in China, Ukraine, Kazakhstan or Russia.
Brh
Even though I’ve been disagreeing with you a lot lately, I think you might be on to something, here. You really had to love Twitter and Facebook trying to suppress the New York Post story. It’s as though they had never heard of The Barbara Streisand Effect! And the Democratic Party’s supporters on Twitter and Facebook are drinking so much Kool-Aid these days that I can’t help but be reminded of George W. Bush supporters when no real weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq after the US invasion and occupation. (“The WMDs were moved to Syria!”)
A local weapons inspector was catfished and discredited for correspondence with a non-existent underage girl.
I don’t know what that had to do with the man’s credibility as a weapon’s inspector. He kept complaining that he was the victim of a setup. I thought it was a setup too, probably by the FBI.
The Democrats and the MSM were all in for that invasion too.
Scott Ritter?
And Happy Birthday James!!
Venus you are mealy mouthing nonsense when you say no real weapons of mass destruction were found.
You should correct yourself and say the amount of WMD found were far less and degraded.
What was found was hundreds of tons of yellowcake and tons of High explosives which went missing shortly after Saddam was planted in a spiderhole to be found and then whos castigated his hangmen for tying the noose wrong.
We won’t even discuss the huge amounts or precursor ingredients for creating forms of chlorine gas far and away more then a country like Iraq could us in swimming pools for a lifetime.
more then (sic) a country like Iraq could us (sic) in swimming pools for a lifetime. – benr
The whole Irag War (and, for that matter Gulf One as well) was predicated on bullshit and lies. We had no business there, or Serbia, or Afghanistan, or Libya
Whew. That left me breathless.
Some points I want to add, not certain where they all fit in.
The same “tech giants” busy trying to censor Biden corruption, are equally busy censoring science relating to the COVID scam.
They are heavily on the side of the pre-Columbian superstition side.
What’s that you say? They haven’t yet offered up any human sacrifices?
Actually, they have. Quite a few, in fact.
Joe didn’t want to run, but I never thought he was meant to take it to the finish line.
Note who endorsed him very early, over all the non-senile candidates.
Andrew Cuomo. I’ll get back to him.
Huma never did divorce Anthony. Someone clearly did not want her with him, but she steadfastly refused to leave him.
Another strange and unexplained part of the Weiner saga- the girl in question.
Where did she come from? A fifteen year old girl goes out of her way to get in touch with a known pervert, because ‘she knew Hillary was running for president, so she wanted to see if he was still up to his
antics’. ANTICS? A fifteen year old said antics? Yes, sure.
Anthony does not have the sort of looks that appeal to young girls. I was fifteen, I was fairly politically aware for someone my age, but this level of involvement in politics is not something I would do. It did not happen.
Someone sent her to Anthony.
Another thing, Anthony was threatened with a draconian ten year sentence, which is more than rapists often receive, to get him to plead guilty to a crime (transmitting obscene material to a minor) that normally would not send someone to prison.
Why?
Anthony is not a pedophile. He was not convicted of pedophilia.
Andrew Cuomo is involved with some of the same people Hunter is involved with. He would have much to gain personally if the had swapped him for Joe last minute, as any investigation would have been deemed political interference.
Andrew also is heavily involved in the COVID scam, and just came out against both the CDC and the FDA, in an apparent effort to discredit any vaccine the president is involved with.
“Perhaps Democrats’ deep-rooted distrust of President Trump was destined to spread to every part of the executive branch. This morning, in an interview with George Stephanopoulos of ABC News, New York governor Andrew Cuomo contended that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cannot be trusted in their assessment of a coronavirus vaccine, and that he will only trust the assessments of his own state-level agencies.”
https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/andrew-cuomo-americans-cant-trust-the-fda-and-cdc-on-a-vaccine/
I believe National Review just advised President Trump to just drop the whole Russiagate matter, for his supporters’ sake.
Andrew was supposed to be hailed as the hero, over his performance against the virus. Those state agencies he trusts over anything federal?
Didn’t one of them endorse his idea to put patients sick with the COVID, in with frail elderly people?
Cuomo got on the Biden bandwagon because he wants Trump to win. His only shot at the big job is 2024. No way will he succeed in trying to primary Kamala if the Dems win this year. 2028 is too late, no white man pushing 70 will be nominated by either party by then.
Old people killer Cuomo.
Baby killer Cuomo.
I will tell you one thing. If Trump beats this cadre of creeps in two weeks, it will set off an explosion never before seen.
What do you do when the minorities of a country, centered in the big cities, want to secede? California has stated that its big cities want to secede, become independent entities and not vassals of DC. New York, with the Cuomo/DeBlasio boys is another. These jerks are preaching revolution. Cuomo’s ego is out of control when he says that he will not acknowledge the CDC and NIH recommendations on vaccines because Trump is president.
Another example why the APA should classify Democrat as a mental illness.
I guess he forgot that the man being hailed as Our Savior was Fauci and he works for the Federal Government, not the state of NY. So he won’t back him? That’s what it amounts to.
Dr Anthony Fauci is totally a tool of big pharma. But I wouldn’t toss him in the dumpster – the wood chucker would be better.
Beryl,
Don’t know much about the national review, but I find that advice a bit weird. Which supporters are they referring to? His base is waiting for indictments and convictions. And the “Russiagate matter” involves several different types of felonies.
Did you hear about Kirstie Alley?
She said she was going to vote forTrump.
Oh boy, in one critics words, she I now dead to Hollywood.
She knew it was coming, the lady has guts!
She is over the hill…how old is she?
She has a serious weight problem and is not young.
Well then off to the crematorium with her!
So, in those respects, is she similar or dissimilar to you, sophia? Just curious…
Freddie
I have guts, I’m 62 and weigh 138.
My point was really, how relevant are her weight and/or age to her opinion?
She claims that Mr. Trump “works 20 hours a day”. I really need to know what she defines as ‘work’. Personally, I never count my TV/internet time as ‘work’ time, nor tweeting at 2 am.
Why don’t you post your detailed logs from your time at the White House?
We wouldn’t want to take your wild theories into consideration without some hard evidence — which you no doubt can provide.
The floor is yours.
Trolling again, the same old tired trope. But keep it up! You’re winning! You’re winning so much, you must be getting tired of winning all the time. The sacrifices you make in the cause of winning are legendary.
Aw, no evidence for us?
Scroll down a little and apologise for your misleading statement re: ‘forced her to have an abortion’. Go on.

My Wal-Mart is sometimes out of the good toilet paper and paper towels; with the poor quality stuff left on the shelves. But so far they haven’t been totally out.
But what’s up with the disappearance of so many household cleaning supplies? Frozen foods is also half empty.
Preparation for lockdowns if Biden wins.
Jim, happy birthday! I don’t know how much time either of us has left, but the upside is we probably won’t be here sitting around the fire munching on spit-roasted squirrels.
The squirrels would not last long. A truly serious survivor would
probably have to develop a taste for human flesh!
Not true rodents reproduce at crazy rates.
Guinea pigs for example can be bred for food.
Oh, my! Looking forward to squirrel nuts for supper? I hear there’re great for the libido.
Only the lucky few will be in a safe situation to raise
Guinea pigs. The majority of us will be running from
the zombie hordes.
Guinea pigs contain no vitamin C.
Pine needles have lots of Vitamin C.
thanks for another thoughtful essay, an a very happy birthday.
The Long Emergency. So true.
Truly impressive accomplishment by JHK 2.0 – he the former “allergic to conspiracies” pundit well-worth listening to. Now he wallows in moronic
trash to please the cheap seatsa – nothing but shrill and childish CFN after CFN without any visible embarrassment. Meanwhile the equivalent death tally of 3 full loaded 747s crashing each day from Covid does not even register anymore. Nor all the other outrages of this horrific administration. The rest of the owlrd watches in horror as the US self-destructs.
The Orange Monster continues to swing his bulky tail from side to side destroying everything he touches. And 40%+ of the population buy into his thanatocracy with that dead-in-the-eyes stare that most of them have.
TDS at the max. You are typical, all criticism and no ideas for solutions.
A good Democrat.
It’s obvious that Professor Horst doesn’t even read JHK’s blog, much less critically think about it. It’s just pure unadulterated, venemous hatred he spews at JHK.
Looks like the odious return of seadolt for the 20th time.
I don’t know. Seawolf could rarely get through a sentence without using expletives, especially when he was deep in the bottle.

During my pool shooting days there was a guy named Udo who always had some half-assed explanation for why he missed a shot. It was as though it was never his fault. It was always like some outside force caused it. I had to restrain myself from saying “UDO, YOU MISSED THE FUCKING SHOT. END OF FUCKING STORY!!”
Or he sucked at pool.
Whereas me, when I see typos, my mind unscrambles them for e and I often don’t notice them.
Meanwhile, you pester the commentariat with corrections for typos.
Yes the human mind wants to see things correctly and make sense of them so long as its healthy.
It’s better to suffer from dyslexia than to have lesdyxia. Just my opinion.
Carghoul just can’t get enough of CFN.
6th ban coming?
My bet is seadolt not carghoul.
Professor,
Please explain how Trump is responsible for all those deaths, and who is responsible for the ones in the other countries.
After all the discussion about the virus and its methods, anyone got any ideas of what to do to fix the Lockdown-economic impact conundrum. It is sure easy to criticize folks trying to come up with solutions, how about making some suggestion, reasonable ones, on what to do next that have not already been done.
If you can, great! If not, get off Trump’s team’s back.
I know you don’t read much but take a look at the recent NYT article about how China, through intelligent leadership and discipline, has resumed its economic growth while keeping its population safe.
There are models out there but in the age of trump, what good do they do? When you have a criminal president going off to hold super-spreader rallies in places like Wisconsin and Arizona, what hope is there.
Well, only a few more months of this outrageous imbecile. Then the Southern District can put this fat bastard in jail.
Welding people into their homes is reasonable and safe?
How about the 40 mobile crematoriums they deployed by some accounts that were going 24 hours a day seven days a week.
You’re ridiculous as if China has told the truth about anything including the actual numbers of dead and crippled.
By the way have a look around before you ask me to show you “credible” links they are there for the looking.
Get over your ridiculous partisan bullshit already!
If Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Barney Franks, and Joe Biden are still walking around no one including the Donald is going to jail.

Ok. I laughed hard at this one.

Hey Ben did you see my post last thread about ‘Woodies’? If I was a surfer out in Cal I’d get me a big Ford Roadmaster Woody, with a V8 and a rack on top for my surfboard, Jan & Dean blasting ‘Surf City’ from my AM radio out the window. Seriously tho, there were some pretty nice Woodies built in Detroit thru out the years, the coolest in the early 1950s by Chysler and Wyllis Jeep. A former poster here, Ozone Pete, gad himself a nice Roadmaster, but it wasn’t a Woody ( phew, what a beast that was, perfect for moving equipment for his band). The thing is, in the 1950s, Woodys had bodies built from actual real wood, not the fake wood of later decades. It was authentic American oak.
Brh
Yes I sure did interesting piece of American history.
My dad bought and restored a jeep willy’s and sold it for a grip of cash a couple of years ago.
Me I want an international terra scout or a Toyota diesel Hilux both will crawl over and out of mot everything you can encounter.
I settled for an over priced 4runner which is a joy to drive but not so fun to pay for.
Every once in awhile I see a restored Wyllis jeep around here. There used to be a couple of abandoned, derelict Wyllis in a field up on Rte 8 in Colebrook.
Mahindra in India was making a jeep using license from a 1945 contract with Ford (who took over from Wyllis for war production) and marketing it here as strictly an off road/farm vehicle; a lawsuit that was filed by Chrysler put a stop to that earlier this year. IMHO if a company built a basic Jeep/IH all purpose vehicle with standard shift, 4 WD, reliable Slant 6 motor, no electronics except maybe an AM radio, windows that rolled up the old way, and priced it at $20,000 or so, they’d sell a lot of them. I was hoping the new Ford Bronco would be that it seems to be another SUV for suburban women commuters.
Brh
I’ve yet to see one personally, but the Packard Eight Station Sedan in HBO’s ‘Lovecraft Country’ is a gem.

Oh yeah Freddie!
That’s what I’m talkin’ about.
BRH – the slant-six was one of the best damn motors ever made – Forged crankshaft I believe. Damn things were anvils. You could run an old Valiant with one quart of oil in the crankcase and half a gallon of tap-water in the radiator… I had a ’66 with the small 170 CID version and ’76 with the 225. Turned the clock over TWICE on both.
Bluekayak Phew those old Valiants they were like bullheads you just couldn’t kill ’em. I’d still see them around in the late 80s. That slant 6 powered up tractors, military vehicles and light trucks too. That’s some real Murican Iron you’re talkin about there, son.
Brh
Professor,
It is simply emotionally upsetting to see such a level of hatred. I never saw such a thing before in my life until the last couple of years.
Sophia,
As a person having disgusting prejudice thrown at me over the years, all I can say is that those people are never happy, and in fact go through life being miserable. You ought to take that into consideration. Every time Lugnuts posts, he is trying to get rid of his own misery. Laugh when you read his comments. JHK will soon ban him (again?) when he comes across one of his posts. Talk about scurrilous!
Beantown,
What sort of prejudice?
Happy Birthday.
I’ve always thought what ISN”T on the news is more important (on some days) than what is. I watched the day the news broke about the incriminating laptop — not a word, the riots in Portland on Columbus Day when statues of Lincoln and Roosevelt were toppled and a museum attacked — not a word, the release of the policeman involved with George Floyd’s death on bail — not a word. So many things are edited out of the so-called news.
Happy Birthday, Jim! I don’t know how many candles are on your cake today but I hope they’re all lit in good health and with good friends.

What is a gre Senate?
Q….a typo – ‘the’.
Mr. Kunstler is correct… Obama had Biden run for President…. it’s even more obvious when you look at what happened around Super Tuesday, when all but Joe and Bernie were left in the race… Buttijugs, Klobascum, Bloomberg, Lyawatha, and Gabbard… they all unexpectedly exited the race.
Get ready for more riots in the street, more weaponizing of social media, and 100′ of Dem lawyers contesting the election results. Orange Man Bad will soar to new heights…
Thank you Jim for a really clear and concise description of the situation. Sadly, it’s not one that the NYT, WAPO, CNN etc will ever tell their readers or audience. The vast majority only know what they are told by MSM which is essentially “orange man bad”. I’d suppose the Dems were so set on pushing early voting and vote by mail as once the vote is mailed, that’s it, no matter if Joe has to step down or whatever happens. It may be too late to have much of an impact on the election, even if the truth were to come out tonight. Something is so very wrong with this country…….
Ballot Drop Off Boxes are starting to be vandalized and torched here in Southern California. The L.A. County Registrar’s Office is going to start collecting ballots as soon as tomorrow, rather than beginning next week as originally planned
you are in west hollywood?
Yes I am in WH. I put my ballot in the drop box at City Hall two days ago
Any idea who is doing it? My assumption is that it is democrats who will mostly use them as republicans are far less afraid of the virus.
Not sure. One drop box was firebombed in Baldwin Park, a suburban working class area 20 miles east of downtown LA. Other drop boxes have been damaged. People have tried to pry them open. The Registrars Office is doing it’s best to control the situation. The damage might not be that widespread after all. Wouldn’t be surprised if either Democrats or Republicans are doing it
But if a working class area was targeted, it indicates that democrats are doing it because they suspect Trump votes are in there. Also, trying to pry them open means they can go through them and get rid of only the ones they don’t like. I heard that in the primaries, there was a way to tell, but that may not be true of the main election as the ballots should be the same?
Sounds like another Jussie Smollett false flag operation. Demon-rats want to claim the Republicans are a bunch of Hitler Brown Shirts depriving poor people of color their right to vote. They point to such unfair things as requiring identification and not letting non-citizens vote. How unfair of those horrible Republicans.
How in the hell did this country dissolve into this state of corruption and ignorance. Can you imagine Kamala the slut in the oval office? Just thinking about Hillary there gave me the willy’s. Want to see a revolution, let that happen.
What a charmer you are.
You think Kamala’s filthy clam is charming?
Her current run for office is predicated on the fact that she has one and it is surrounded by black skin.

At one time I hoped for advances in gay marriage, reduced sentences and relaxed moral attitudes in California. Now I am against ALL of it. It would be OK if we didn’t have to deal with their diseased labia and HIV infected foreskins on a daily basis in the streets during a pandemic. Those unfortunate discriminated activists took it upon themselves to game the system 100%. Proposition 47 in 2014 wore out my “world’s smallest violin” thumb and forefinger action. Now we’re trying to resolve the child pimping window the monsters took advantage of. It’s a good time for Amy Coney Barrett IMHO.

Interesting theories here, with multiple intriguing loose ends left dangling for potential future use. However, I don’t expect the Democratic Party to become “finished,” at least not within the next few months, regardless of the outcome of next month’s election. As long as there is something like today’s GOP, it is going to probably need something like today’s Democratic Party, and vice versa. The various media corporations reporting across the eternal “aisle,” in one direction or the other, also rely on that familiar dichotomy, as do various other interest groups.
Not fixed, however, are of course the figureheads. Never before has America had two major presidential contenders who were both over 70. New faces are more likely near term than are good new ideas. Nonetheless, old bottles are not transformed into new ones by replacing their corks.
This just in. CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin suspended for waving his penis around on a work related Zoom Call. He says he didn’t know he was on camera. What? Does he often play his organ on conference calls?
I wonder what Anthony Wiener is saying now, “See I’m not so odd; everybody does it. Huma, Huma come back to me, baby”
I saw that. Also noteworthy is that he impregnated a co-worker’s daughter and then forced her to get an abortion.
Fairly standard behavior for a McMedia ghoul.
Typical Trump hating ultra left-winger. Not a shred of moral decency. And they are all like that. So sad.
Update: Toobin was masturbating during the call.

And this guy is one of the biggest moral scolds out there.
Projection.
Every. Fucking. Time.
Toobin, Louis C.K. and Peewee Herman (born Rubenfeld), along with Harvey Weinstein and Anthony Wiener – just to start, and Mr Epstein sends his apologies – should start a club. They could get some space at the local B’nai B’rith and do readings from Philip Roth and William Reich and similar.
Of course, Reich’s theory was that “genital satisfaction” is the key to mental health.
https://nationalvanguard.org/2018/11/jewish-merchants-of-sin-and-porn-part-6-wilhelm-reich-and-the-sexual-revolution/
So that must explain Toobin’s behavior. He was just doing g a little (excuse me) work on his “mental health”.
That also explains why nuns have such a short fuse. LOL
“[…] forced her to get an abortion.” Night Owl
This may not be as accurate as your bald assertion leads the reader to expect. The NY Daily News reported (ancient history, 2010) that he ‘offered her money to have an abortion’ but she declined and had the child, whom Toobin acknowledged and was meeting (at least back then) the required supporting costs.
Clearly, he’s a sleaze, but that’s not illegal…just as it’s not illegal, criminally, for you to make statements that are provably untrue.
Unless you have information from a different source with better credentials, I offer this:

Dig this. Though I rarely use it, I attempted to post Mr Kunstler’s comments to FB just now. “Your post goes against our Community Standards on coordinating harm and promoting crime” is what FB told me after canceling my thoughts on Mr Biden. It’s a solid wall that’s been built: every major news media, every major social network will silence and cancel you if you dare to think for yourself. Covid: less deaths per million than insect bites, full police state. Dare to question Wall St / Hollywood / China / Big Tech, full police state. I didn’t think it was real until today, but now I know. Fully prepared to decouple & go analog anytime now. I’ve seen this before, elsewhere. I never thought I’d see it again in the USA, but here we are.
If you go analog, then ‘they’ win.
Ah yes, exhibit 1 million demonstrating how insane JHK has become. It appears that today is his bday and peak senility has crept in.
Go give Joe Biden a senility test, if the topic concerns you. Filthy troll!
You might want to ignore this guy. Every time someone answers him/her/it, it gives h/s/i a big kick. If you don’t want to read this person or bot, email JHK and ask him to read the comment. If he deems it scurrilous (which it is), Jim will bounce the guy, IMO.
So in one post, you agree with a complaint about media censorship. Then straight after, you want JHK to kick someone off the site.
You really are a massive hypocrite.
This is a personal issue for ohyesiam. She doesn’t want to be kicked off the board again for trolling.
LOL.
NO ohyesiam, you are the hypocrite and much worse. You support the fascist book burning thought police
This site is JHK’s personal domain. If some troll wants to simply post personal insults, JHK can tell him to go elsewhere.
YouTUbe is a different animal. For people of your ilk to kill websites where people with conservative opinions meet is an attempt to stifle serious, respectful speech which addresses serious issues (as opposed to petty insults) It is an indication of your hideous, evil, hate filled desire to deny freedom and human rights to those who disagree with you.
Just what are you?
@hmuller
“your hideous, evil, hate filled desire to deny freedom and human rights to those who disagree with you”
You seem to be a bit confused. I was defending free speech on both sides.
Of course, insults are not very productive, but you are hardly innocent of that, are you?
Well then, I apologize if I mis-characterized you. I must have missed your comments denouncing the Social Media Moguls for their Nazi censorship campaign.
And I do emphasize they are not banning obscene, lewd sites or actual extremist sites. They are labeling any speech of which they disapprove as “extremist, hate speech”.
They want to tilt the election. If they were doing this against the Democrats, oh boy, would all the trolls on this site be screaming bloody murder!
@hmuller
There is a difference between absolute legal censorship applied with legal force, and private organisations applying content standards.
So the Nazi comparisons (as usual) are a bit swivel-eyed.
Facebook has become too big and powerful, no doubt. But the problem of the concentration of media ownership in a few big corporations is nothing new.
A lot of journalists and news organisations probably want Trump to lose. But then, he has spent the last four years attacking them. So what did you expect?
Read what I said more carefully, please. I said that if hmuller feels a certain way about a poster (you) then tell JHK and let him decide. I did NOT say I want you kicked off this site.
Actually, I’m sick and tired of all the personal sniping here on both sides.
Huh? Not fair to BTB, ohyesiam.
Just a couple of posts down, we see you DEFENDING the right of a private entity to deem what content is and is not acceptable, which is precisely what Bill has stated here. Pshaw!
It’s simple and it’s obvious. Trump’s mismanagement of the virus will cost him the election, but it goes far beyond that. It will mean Democratic rule for all of us, maybe for decades. The ascendancy of AOC, Ilhan Omar, Tlaib, and Pressley, with Hillary and Obama rejoicing along with the entire cast of perpetraitors, free to subvert and lead us into chaostrophe.
All Trump had to do a few months ago is strongly recommend wearing of the mask along with social distancing, and lead by example, leaving Biden little to attack him with. As it is, covid has become Biden’s big, brutal club, constantly bashing the bashibazouk and his bungling.
Both the TWATs and the O’TWATs are growing by leaps and bounds. Trump says we’re turning the corner on the virus as cases skyrocket across the nation. Then the idiot demeans and insults Fauci, whose favorability ratings are at about 80%. Way to go Donald, way to lose even more votes.
Whether you agree with mask wearing or not, recommending its use and wearing it was the politically safe thing to do. You’re not forcing anybody to wear it, you’re not locking down, you’re president and showing concern about the nation’s well being.
The contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop are about as important to the American people now, except for Trump’s base, as is Christine Blasey Ford’s questionable testimony before the Supreme Court hearings.
Trump is running against Joe, not Hunter. We have already seen Joe Biden’s response to the accusations. Denial, and that they’re just simply desperate fabrications. Trump is losing, and losing to Biden would be like losing to a pile of shit. A scatological victory is in the making.
The Day of the Dead nears, as Joe Biden, ‘a dead man walking’, is about to put America into its grave. He will bury us, using the shovel that Trump handed him.
TS
Do you think AZ is going blue?
I did not catch the guy’s name, but an analyst that predicted Trump’s victory against all the polls in 2016 has stated that his poll, which according to Fox includes more finely tuned analysis and ten times the sampled voters, is predicting Trump will repeat with 270 to 280 electoral votes.
He also predicts that he will take Arizona. There is hope yet.
They also showed the polls for six of the battleground states with Trump behind by 3 to 4% in each one. Just about the same as Hillary in 2016.
That’s right, nobody knows for sure. I think we could have been sure if Trump had only listened to someone with basic political wisdom saying, ‘wear the mask’. Or had that wisdom himself.
Just like in Florida, a lot of old people here could be joining the O’TWATs.
And a lot of people may not want to say that they’re voting for Trump, so there is hope.
You really believe wearing a clothe mask will stop a virus?? OMG. What grade were you in when you dropped out of school?
I stayed long enough to take the critical reading classes, UN. And I pay attention to what the medically qualified people on here say.
It doesn’t stop a virus or the virus, it stops virus. And it lets virus through. That’s because the mask isn’t all holes, it’s fabric with holes. And, if you wear a three-layered one, as advised, some of the holes in the top layer will be helpfully sitting over fabric in the next layer. And so on to the third layer.
Perhaps your school physics can explain how all of the virus-laden particles (whose size is what matters in this context, not the size of ‘the virus’), hit the holes and none hit the fabric, when you cough or just speak?
From Neurodoc, who presumably didn’t drop out of school:
“it’s not the size of the virus but the size of the mucous cells the virus commandeers.” (23 Aug, if you’re interested in following the thread).
So all you need for the mask to lower the amount of virus a person gets from the mask wearer is for some of those virus-laden mucous cells to land on the fabric rather than the holes. And we know that the amount of virus you’re exposed to affects how ill you are likely to become.
Perhaps you could do a physics experiment to find out how much of the mask is holes and how much is fabric? And then, you know, spit on it or something and see if it’s damp or if all the mucous you spat at it went through the holes and magically left the fabric bone dry?
Others have already taken the trouble, in fact, in lab conditions, and have provided filtration rates for different types of mask and fabric.
Also from neurodoc, on the same day:
“I’m seeing people wearing what appears to be scarves or just cloth, sometimes ornate. ALL USELESS for them but they do appear to prevent SOME spread FROM them. ”
That’s all anyone’s ever said. It really doesn’t justify the hate, the manipulative wording, the hysterics, or the obfuscation. But it might mean the difference – in certain contexts – between the person you’re spraying with your spit living or dying – or between them being slightly ill or very ill. Not very grandiose, I’ll grant you, and less attention-seeking than self-aggrandising sloganeering, especially since you’ll never know who you might have helped or who might have helped you.
Discretion is the better part of valour, though, so who cares, eh? Imagine the bravery it takes to defy your ego and your friends’ jeering, just be your own person and put the thing on while you also try not to crowd people in shops or on buses?
Masks are less important than distancing* – they’re just a useful complement to that in particular places like public transport and shops, where large numbers of people are mixing for relatively short periods. They will do nothing for you sitting over an infected co-worker co-operating on a project.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=md6G2hqrhBE
*Anders Tegnell, who’s in charge of the Swedish response you guys admire (I admire it too, but Swedes are pro-social creatures with less demanding egos than some):
“Face masks can be a complement to other things when other things are safely in place. But to start with having face masks and then think you can crowd your buses or your shopping malls — that’s definitely a mistake […]
So, no crowding first, masks second.
To clarify, when I said ‘that’s all anyone’s ever said’, I’m referring to people who have a clue what they’re talking about, not every Tom, Dick or Harry on the Interwebs, or even the often useless ‘science correspondents’ of the hated MSM.
“It doesn’t stop a virus or the virus, it stops virus. And it lets virus through. That’s because the mask isn’t all holes, it’s fabric with holes. And, if you wear a three-layered one, as advised, some of the holes in the top layer will be helpfully sitting over fabric in the next layer. And so on to the third layer.”
Indeed, soon you end up with something like an N95 or N99, in which you can’t breathe well enough to conduct daily activities. Why, we could just keep adding layers of protection until we have the equivalent of a plastic bag on our heads.
Brillant logic from The Narcissist. But it has painted itself into a corner.
Meanwhile, in a study done on cloth mask effectiveness, we see it lets in just about 97% of particles.
“Penetration of cloth masks by particles was almost 97% and medical masks 44%.”
https://twitter.com/RandPaul/status/1318257165153505283
Once again, a 2-minute Duck Duck Go search is all it takes to put the The Narcissist down.
Those who worship the Narc-troll should carry on doing that. He lives for it, so you’re doing him a service.
Those who know the difference between spending 15 minutes in a shop or on public transport and ‘conducting daily activities’ should make their own decisions.
Those who are familiar with a thin, comfortable, three-layer fabric mask will already know what that’s like to wear for 15 minutes in a shop or on a bus. Those who’ve spent 15 minutes doing the same with a plastic bag on their head may think what they like.
Those who read someone who endlessly uses expressions like ‘rekt’, ‘steamrolled’ and ‘brutal ownage’ in his posts, reflecting his psychological needs, should think about why he needs to project his narcissism onto someone who doesn’t share his needs, but just makes an argument that other less needy readers can take or leave.
If writing the most words wins an argument, you would win every time, GA. But it doesn’t and you don’t.
I just wish you would surprise us sometime and not be a toady supporting the policies of jack booted Big Brother.
A wall of text, a few ad homs, and no refutation of the facts.
Every time.
Rekt.
Night Owl
Why can you not simply make your argument without all the nasty BS? It’s not a good look, and frankly, just detracts from your credibility.
hmuller
“If writing the most words wins an argument, you would win every time, GA. “
Well you could have refuted some of those words logically, hm, but I see that you have chosen not to. And at least included some names of those who regularly write screeds far longer than mine. But why would you?
I believe in respecting people enough to give them evidence and a logical explanation, not just throwing a politically correct (for this blog) assertion at them. If you want partisan slogans you will get plenty from other commenters.
And you insult me. You want me to agree that masks do no good because some people you don’t like agree with the evidence that they do. You don’t need to take it from me – I was just explaining how they couldn’t NOT help – and I note that no-one came up with a logical counter-argument.
https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-020-02801-8#ref-CR1
There’s another person on here who accused me of being a paid troll because, again, I wouldn’t deny real evidence just because people she doesn’t like accept that evidence. I find that ‘my enemy’s enemy’ stuff beneath me and it should be beneath you too.
I answered her somewhat repulsive attack in detail, with evidence and logic. That takes words. Insults and ad homs are much easier to produce in less space.
She never apologised. Nor did she refute anything in my response.
But when I think she’s right I will say so. And I totally agree with her that spending 15 minutes in a shop or a bus with a mask on isn’t the same as asking kids to spend the day in school with one on, which I consider (and have said multiple times that I consider) to be both pointless and ridiculous.
My grandson isn’t wearing a mask in school. He wears one on the bus and in shops, and isn’t remotely traumatised by it. But I observe that the secondary kids don’t even seem to be wearing them on the bus. And here’s the thing, hm, nobody says anything to them. Ninety-nine percent of them have no medical reason not to wear one for 15 minutes, but there is in fact a notice pointing out to passengers that some people can’t wear them so please don’t harass them. So they take advantage of that.
Not that anyone is harassing them anyway – even the bus driver isn’t questioning people who get on without a mask, so your fantasies about jack boots* just make my eyes roll.
And you don’t even have to get on buses in the first place, since, like the other complainant, you’ve got a car to keep you travelling germ free.
But here are two of my recent posts on the Covid response, hm. I would be most grateful if you would point out all the instances of jack-booted Big Brother thinking in them.

Or you could admit (even just to yourself) that you just sooooo want me to be wrong and on the wrong side, always.
Perhaps it even annoys you that I don’t have ‘TDS’, because that would be something else you could insult me for.
*Re bus drivers, I should mention (sorry, facts require words) that places like supermarkets are more pernickety. That’s because they have a legal duty of care to their employees, who are facing the public all day long. So they’d like the public to treat their employees with respect, and they don’t want to be sued.
The bus driver, on the other hand, although his employers also have a duty of care, has no-one on hand to back him up. Thirty bus drivers have died of Covid just in London. And they’ll all be aware of the French bus driver who was dragged off his bus and murdered by three men who didn’t like being challenged for not wearing a mask.
Jack boots, did you say? I’m not sure what they bludgeoned him to death with, but he never regained consciousness.
And no, I’m not apologising for my post being long – at least not until I’ve seen you criticise other obvious sinners.
Someone once criticised Kesa for exorbitant length – you wouldn’t have wanted to be on the receiving end of the response they got for that.
Freddie, because I enjoy deconstructing the manipulations of posters like you and GA. It is easy, and very rewarding.
Why have you returned after the ban, by the way?
You seem very hesitant to answer that question.
“No, no. It reduces viral load, you see!
Never mind that it functions like a fence to a mosquito — I said viral load!”
I took that from the Handbook for Wannabee Verbal Manipulators.
We’re going to use it in class. So easily deconstructed, it will do for Lesson 1.
97% of particles pass through the rag.
Rekt.
Deconstruct? Manipulative posts? In your fevered imaginings, perhaps.
I’d be interested to know why you think I’ve been banned and returned. You’ve been accusing a lot of folks in here of that. Are you on JHK’s payroll?
Accusing me of being a paid poster for JHK, our host?
That is some ballsy trolling, Freddie.
One wonders why you are here …
When did a question become an accusation?
Tucsonspur – can you please elucidate – what is TWAT & O’TWAT in this context? (I can’t find it anywhere).
Tuscon you’re a covid troll and I don’t buy your support of Trump. Yous aay things Trump supporters never would.
Not entirely true you should have heard some of the stuff I said about him during the primaries.
I was not a fan of Trump at all.
Thanks benr, but hardly true at all. Sophia doesn’t seem to understand that blindly praising Trump even if he’s not doing the right thing is not only hypocritical, but can also be counter productive.
I don’t think that my comments here are going to affect his chances in the election.
If he had done what I suggested, he wins it, and I wouldn’t be unhappy.
You’re out of touch, Tuscon.
Sophia
“You’re out of touch, Tuscon.”
No, sophia. Tuscon is, in my view, the only MAGAt around here who has an ‘in touch’ view of the unfolding shit-show.
Someone in here (was it Tusconspur?) recently recommended Michael Cohen’s confessional “Disloyal”. I bought it yesterday and cannot put it down.
If you want a close-up view of Mr. Trump from someone who has been down his rabbit-hole, worked closely with & for him for over 10 years but has come out the other side with a cold, clear-eyed understanding of his character & techniques, I recommend heartily to you (and the rest). It MIGHT just ‘put you in touch’, sophia.
tuscon (sic)
=========
Freddie and sophia,
The commenter you are referring to is ‘tucsonspur.’ Notice that you have transposed the letters c and s.
May I suggest you read the book How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie or, better yet, take the classroom course. One of the things you will learn is the importance getting somebody’s name right.
I know, Q…I have trouble NOT calling you “Q. Schtick”, but I try hard to preserve your sensibilities.
As to “Tucson”, the city in Arizona, there’s an equally confusingly spelled & pronounced town in England – “Hanmer”, which is often misspelled (and spoken) as ‘Hamner’. Such are the effects of the behavior of the poorly educated – to heap annoyance on the pedantic.
Aside from that, your promotion of Mr. Carnegie’s particular style of scam is interesting. Wasn’t the current President raised on this guy’s principles? Do you think that’s how HE operates, given his childish propensity for lame nicknames?
Oh, MAGAT.
I do believe this is the sort of language that got FreddieMars banned last time!
Tucson.
I don’t blindly praise Trump nor do I think you should. It is rather that your mask obsession seems very odd and out of place, so much so that I suspect you are are trolling. The idea that he is going to lose the election for following the advice of Fauci as every other national leader did to their own (corrupt) experts is just plain silly, and also does not take into account the majority of people who do not like the mask mandates. This indicates to me that you spend most of your time with liberal people and liberal news sources.
It is also weird that he is criticized for showing a bit of courage and trying to reduce fear, as a leader should.
He speaks without a mask, as most people who take a podium do. Well, he obviously does not believe in masks much…to lose the election over it? They are being vindicated in Sweden you know and never had any mask mandate. Lots of places didn’t and they are doing fine. Many, many truly qualified world experts did and do speak against masking everyone. Only the corrupt and lockstep world press ignores them.
If you were a Trump supporter, you’d have a clue about getting your news and opinions from a few conservative or outside sources.
“I do believe this is the sort of language that got FreddieMars banned last time!” – Night Owl
Firstly, FreddieMars has never been banned, so what are you on about?
Secondly, what are you? JHK’s ‘Witchsmeller Pursuivant”? You sure have the techniques down pat:

Interesting theory. Lots of food for thought from all above.
Especially the comments on GHWB and the historical moment following the collapse of the Soviet Union which in truth marked the end of the Second World War. That in fact was THE pivotal moment hijacked by The project for the New American Century and the neocons.
It has been downhill ever since. Slowly at first and now all at once.
The politics of nostalgia have been played, and what lies beyond is anyone’s guess.
Martin Armstrong is fond of citing the example of Japan following WW2. They had no natural resources, they had no gold {Armstrong is an ardent anti gold bug}. All they had was the talent, education, and ability of the Japanese people. We all know how that story developed.
One looks around the USA landscape with some despair considering the task at hand. Nevertheless, the USA remains the country of second chances and who knows? As the wise Yogi said, predictions are difficult. Especially about the future.
Yes, the Japanese are to be admired for how they cameback after WW2.
The West, meanwhile, plunged itself into policies of dysenics and cultural suicide.
The USA was 89.5% white in 1950 and just 10% black. Now whites are just 65% (at most) and aging out, blacks approach 15% and fill the prisons and drag down the schools and cultural life, 7% of the country are illegal immigrants mostly from failed low IQ nations. So the country falls apart.
Then people ask “How did it happen?”
Uh, did demographics play a part? Could race possibly be real?
Imagine if Baltimore or Chicago were 100% Japanese.
@Billy Hill
There would be rumblings of “Asian privilege” and moves to level out the unfair advantages the Japanese had accrued through discipline, hard work and familial stability.
The San Diego school board has just approved “antiracist” policies whereby POC™ will no longer be required to complete assignments, demonstrate grasp of material through testing or even attend classes for that matter yet still may receive passing grades. It’s an explicit acknowledgement that certain cultures simply can’t compete with those groups which are willing and able to put in the work. If only the laws of physics, biology, chemistry, etc, etc will now cooperate and reveal themselves to lazy, shiftless idiots, all will be well…
Certainly it presents a fascinating counterfactual that the European invaders of the Americas might have obtained their slaves from Japan, which certainly would willingly have supplied them. Japan was a slave-based society like almost everywhere else.
But the journey was too long.
Wherever they have settled, in South America, especially in Brazil and Peru for example, they have excelled and brought only benefits.
No one ever feels any concern at seeing a knot of Japanese youths at a bodega. And no one complains about their rudeness, loudness, or the garbage in their neighborhoods.
King,
I’m seeing more and more of that kind of thing and I marvel because first, it is illegal, and second is racist.
The Japanese are among the most racist™ people on earth. Even faced with negative population growth, they have allowed virtually no immigration. This of course was predicated upon the unfashionable notion that a culture’s ethnic identity was worth preserving at all costs and the pragmatic corollary that a nation with a common culture will be more stable than one with incompatible cultures baked into the cake and the chefs pretending that tribal human nature can be exorcised with an unconscious bias seminar or two.
To put it mildly, the West has set itself up for a period of instability but I see that as a dark cloud with a pronounced silver lining. No civilization on earth has been able to reinvent itself when under duress more than the West. The self-hating white phenomenon is only possible in a civilization that has grown fat and bored. The fat is about to be burned away…
The Japanese have had the advantage of being an island nation with all the cultural protections this provides. In contrast Europe has been a tribal crossroads in part owing to geography. Having said that the cultural traits of familial piety and discipline are usually associated with Asia generally, so besides having a moat Japan has lived in a decent neighborhood. My wife is quick to remind me there is an underside to the culture. The movie Babel delves into it a bit. Interestingly Japan has been willing to accept elements of alien cultures and adopt as their own while not compromising their fundamental identity.
I was last there in January 2018 and despite all one reads about their modern monetary regime and demographic collapse the underlying reality is much the same as when I was there in the early 1980s. They are now trying to eliminate smoking. Otherwise the Shinkansen goes faster and they still bow to one another.
Tucson…prescient thoughts on how things are likely to unspool in the near future. it’s becoming clearer as Trump digs himself a deeper hole and we near DDay. I don’t think the Dems will rule the roost for “decades”, however. Biden/Harris will be one termers. Beyond that, who knows…hangover from Trump may permeate the House and Senate for a long time.
The pity of Trump is that he often has the right message, but is the wrong messenger. He is obviously quite intelligent, but is a very flawed and sick person. It’s a shame…we can’t all be perfect. A 74 year old supposed adult should know this. Live with it.
Covid is another story that I won’t go into. My 86 year-old aunt just went home from the hospital after a bout with the cozy. She has diabetes and is overweight. ‘Nuf said.
The politicization of covid is unconscionable. You’re right, Tucson.
Trump could have low-keyed this, followed Fauci’s advice, and not taken on the disease like he was a goddamn epidemiologist. But his ego got the best of him, as it seems to always do…sad.
The last debate should be juicy. We’ll see who interrupts who first.
Should be interesting.
No interruptions. Mics will be closed.
But we will see if moderators interrupt Trump when he goes off-question and onto the Biden crime family.
I am sure we’ll see plenty of interruptions then.
It will be worth watching for that.
Not entirely accurate, Kim.
“The 90-minute debate is divided into six 15-minute segments, with each candidate granted two minutes to deliver uninterrupted remarks before proceeding to an open debate. The open discussion portion of the debate will not feature a mute button, but interruptions by either candidate will count toward their time in the second and final debate Thursday.“
Right on the nail’s head, TC.
“Trump could have low-keyed this, followed Fauci’s advice, and not taken on the disease like he was a goddamn epidemiologist. But his ego got the best of him, as it seems to always do…sad”.
I wondered about the integrity of this debate commission on here a few weeks back. I no longer do, the fix is in.
Narcissists must have their dupes. When a dupe resigns from control, he or she is discarded and ignored.
I recall that GWBush did similar things when his father GHWBush was president and probably vice-president. It wasn’t a big deal back then was it? Didn’t he openly say things like “I wouldn’t be part of this deal if not for my father’s position.”? Our host forgets his own description of our culture “Anything goes, nothing matters and nobody cares.” This laptop exposure might make traditional Republicans more comfortable voting for Biden. Influence peddling is something they understand.
The influence of the Deep State has been growing for decades. Washington DC has been separating itself from the people of America for a long time. Their quest for power has sucked in such a perverted group of people that it should be renamed Hollywood East. Right now they are trying to put the procedures into place to void the vote of the people. Both parties are at fault, both parties accept corruption as a standard of practice to survive the pressure cooker that DC has become.
Then Trump gets elected who really understands these creepolas and wants to turn the corruption clock back. He grossly underestimated their resilience and stick togetherness to protect their domain. Almost every person he drafted to help him administer brought a knife with them to stick in his back. Over and over and over. His survival depends on the people’s vote. The vote that the Deep State is trying to remove.
The people will have lost this battle if Biden wins and especially if the Senate turns. Two more weeks!
I think that it was the Obamas who really got this Deep State thing going, wanting to ‘radically transform America’. Remember Michelle saying, “People in this country are ready for change and hungry for a different kind of politics and … for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.”
She wasn’t proud of her country before, so what about Balack?
He knew Marx, Cloward-Piven, Bill Ayers, Saul Alinsky, Mao, and the Reverend Wright very well. Here’s some from Wright:
‘No, no, no, not God bless America — God damn America!’
‘White folk done took this country. You’re in their home, and they’re gonna let you know it. You are not now, nor have you ever been, nor will you ever be a brother to white folk and if you do not realize that, you are in serious trouble’.
‘Nor will you ever be a brother’. Balack must have realized that. But he could never carry out the full radicalization he desired, it would take longer for a number of reasons. And now if the Democrats take both the presidency and the Senate, the Obamas will rejoice and be reborn, and be proud of their country once again.
It kicked into high gear under Shrub.
Barack simply took the reins and prodded the horses.
Barack even goot his own deep state psy op moment when he pretended to kill Bin Laden before secretly burying him at sea.

BRH–This is from Taki mag,
HINDU GOD CURES SELF, KILLS DEVOTEE
Bussa Krishna of Telangana, India, had gone his entire life being let down by his gods: the elephants, the cows, the dung heaps, the burned brides…none of it had brought the expected sense of salvation and comfort. But being an Indian means never giving up (it also means “toilets are optional”), so the tenacious Telugu went out and found himself a new deity—Donald Trump.
Initially, Krishna, who had become known in his native village as “Trump,” devoted his “puja room” (the sacred room in a Hindu home where the IKEA do-it-yourself gods are stored) to his idol, plastering the walls with photos of the president. But when that proved insufficient, Krishna constructed a six-foot statue of Trump, which he prayed to daily, while also using it for traditional Hindu rituals (he even bathed the statue in milk…which is rather innocuous compared to what he might have used had he believed the Steele dossier).
Krishna told the local press that his revelation that Trump is a god came not from the president’s politics, but from his association with the World Wrestling Federation. Because of course it did. You were expecting something logical in this story?
When Krishna learned that Trump had been stricken with COVID, he spent his every waking moment praying by the statue’s side. And fasting. Krishna stopped eating and sleeping for days on end as he obsessively prayed beside his holy idol. Surely the force of the sheer willpower exhibited by this humble Hindu, starving himself and depriving himself of sleep, would cure the ailing president.
Whether or not it contributed to Trump’s recovery is a matter of debate. What is not is that it killed Krishna. He passed away last week from cardiac arrest.
Although according to his family, the actual cause of death was “tension for Donald Trump.” Because of course it was.
While Trump has not commented on his No. 1 Hindu fan’s sacrifice, news of Krishna’s passing greatly distressed Sean Hannity, who reportedly told a Beltway journalist, “That coulda been me.”

I think the Deep State started during the FDR years when the solution to all societal problems became the federal government. Intermittent interludes omg GOP control sincE have really pissed off the Liberals and the globalists in their quest for uniparty control from DC. I agree with you that Obama was the focus for the final takeover ie HRC’s victory in 2016 when all Democratic skeltons would have been disappeared forever.
Now understand why Trump was such a shock and had to be crushed by ANY means possible. If there had been any way to have an alternative to the on rush of the Deep State other that a big buffoon like Trump, it would have been nice. Unfortunately, the other 16 GOP folks were all Deep State operatives like the Bush’s dynasty. They have since become RINOs and are officially recognized as Deep State Lincoln Project operatives.
If Trump wins, you are going to see a deflation of the Deep State without precedent. Otherwise, the Obama takeover will be completed with Trump as the excuse to fool the public as THEIR America disappears.
The deep state has been around a lot longer than 1932. What about creation of the Federal Reserve in 1913? What about Andrew Jackson’s struggles with the banks in the 1830’s – including an assassination attempt or two?
The DS is so entrenched that getting rid of it will take another lifetime.
The paintings displayed in my opinion reflect a certain American Gothic Horror. Instead
of the vibrancy, joyful and spiritual paintings of Grandma Moses we are provided with moribund manifestations in spite of plausible deniability of the little old lady who lived down the road. They are intended to proclaim the pastoral as the nexus to dystopia but rather provide a dog’s breakfast for the unfortunate viewer which is the true state of the union.
where is the art?
I’ve enjoyed JHK’s writing since the geography of nowhere back in the early 90s. I like the way his writing has evolved and matured into an articulate and witty journal of America this last third of a century. After over six decades of life my role models are appropriately men who excel and strive past their prime. Hence JHK, DT,….and of course Tom Brady. Happy birthday, Jim!!!

I had the opportunity to call in to the “Jim Bohanon Show” on the radio what seems like 20 years ago, or so. Jim’s “guest” that evening was none other then John Dean, consulare to that illustrious president of ours’, Richard Nixon. I managed to put forth my outrage at the fact that Mr. Nixon walked free with use of an unconditional pardon granted by his hand picked vice president, Gerald Ford, replacement for one Spiro T. Agnew, himself brought low by TAX EVASION allegations. I tried to make the point that although I had campaigned for Mr. Nixon as a 10 year old boy, canvassing the neighborhood and stuffing mailboxes with his pamphlets and bumper stickers, I nevertheless felt rage at the idea that the “big cheese” gets his “get out of jail card for free card”, while the lackies are sent up the river. And I tried to say that this event would shadow every administration thereafter, as one after the other would be emboldened in their criminal behavior as the DETERRENT to such behavior had been compromised. Well, I was cut off before I got too far along in my hissy fit, but I did listen as BOTH Mr. Dean AND Mr. Bohannon belittled my thoughts on the matter and called me an “extremist”.
I can only say that our founding fathers must have been “extremists” also, except that they had the balls and brains to take action.
As for us….well….we’re all talk….and not much else.

The really scary part of the Deep State taking over the country is that they do not have a clue about anything. They are devoid of ideas. So they have chosen Trump for their platform on every issue.
What would Trump do or what has he done? We will do just the opposite, that is their platform. No judgement of whether something makes sense or is a rational solution.

Sad.
Wow! Surfing isn’t the 1st thing you think of when you hear the word Kamchatka.
Russia is going balls to the wall oil and mineral excavation in the arctic (have floated out 2 nuclear barges already, 4 more to go, each with 2 reactors providing power for mining operations) and China is digging up Greenland, so don’t expect northern waters to get any cleaner.
But Ben, you need to check the veracity of your story. According to publication like the Guardian of London, the NYTs and Forbes, all environmental deprivations are the fault of Donald Trump, American capitalism, and western oil companies. Everyplace else — specially socialist countries, is pristine.
Brh
when I hear “Kamchatka”, the first thing I think of is the game “RISK”…
Vodka!
Oh man, now THAT was some cheap torpedo juice…
Wow that is really sad! Did you know that Kamchatka has I think the most volcanoes in the world in one place? And actually I read somewhere before that if you want to survive a zombie apocalypse that Kamchatka or the Russian island Sakhalin are the best places for refuge in the world due to being essentially unpopulated and pristine. But it looks like the destruction of modern life can go anywhere. Especially in the water. It seems like massive ocean die offs have been happening more frequently as of late. Is it just routine industrial and energy production activity or is it something more sinister? Or is something unknown but natural occurring?
The irregular but massive Fukushima contaminated water discharges are not helping.
Another 1.2 million gallons being dumped by japan.
It’s measured in cubic meters, benr – 265 US gallons to a cubic meter.

Just passing on what I read and the specified 1.2 million gallons of varying degrees of radioactive contaminated water used to cool off the site as it was melting down.

ZERO HEDGE–Authored by Jack Capizzi via Campus Reform,
University of Chicago Faculty associated with the Center for the Study of Race, Politics, and Culture (CSRPC) accused the University of Chicago of reinforcing systemic and institutional racism. The letter titled “More than Diversity – A Call to Action from University of Chicago Faculty” initiated a diversity strike to cease faculty collaboration on diversity initiatives and discourage academics from participating in University of Chicago hosted events.
The statement demands an increased budget for the CSRPC, the defunding of the University of Chicago Police Department, and the establishment of a Critical Race Studies Department and a committee on reparations.
In a letter titled “More than Diversity – A Call to Action from University of Chicago Faculty,” the authors cite the failure to hire a Faculty Director for the CSRPC, a $50,000 budget cut, the University’s alliance with campus police, and the University’s connection to Stephen Douglas, as instigating factors that spurred the creation of the letter.
The faculty seek to hold the University of Chicago accountable for its “long history of willingly enabling and directly contributing to [DRUM ROLL] structural racism.”
Coddled creatures try to eat their patron.
University of Chicago seems like the kind of place BLM — along with Chicago’s 50 street gangs — would like to burn to the ground.
See UofC undergrads, little rabbits on the bloody streets of Chicago, trying to live their SJW creed, but stay alive at the same time. It’s a fine line they walk between Racism 101, the Crips, the Bloods, the Blackstone Rangers and the Gangster Disciples.

U of C has been a hotbed of radicalism for many years.
And to add fuel to the fire (pun/metaphor intended), I read that Japan just dumped 1,000,000 gallons or pounds, I don’t remember the unit, of radioactive water from Fukushima into the ocean. Tells you how much I know – I never realized God intended us to use oceans as our garbage dump. Better eat as much fish as possible now. Pretty soon there won’t be any, or if some is left it’ll glow in the dark.
I’m not religious, but if there’s a god and he made the beautiful Earth for us, we’ve really literally and figuratively messed things up. And I’m sure he must be very, very pissed.
Hmmm are you certain you are not religious? I mean, it certainly seems like you intuit what I understand to be the case from my readings of the Bible at least. That being just one tradition but I think even in primitive religions people were afraid the gods were angry with them for various things including destroying nature like sacred groves and so forth.
Religious is different than spiritual, IMO. No one, absolutely no one can really know God, if there is one. Think about it: if God exists, according to Judeo-Christian doctrines, he created the universe. The observable universe is around 90 billion light years in diameter, and that’s just what we can theorize; there may be more to it. Since the universe exists in at least 3 dimensions, it’s volume is roughly 90 billion times,90 billion times 90 billion times 6 trillion in miles, and light is the fastest known thing In existence. In other words it would take us 90 billion years to traverse the universe once, traveling as fast as possible, in roughly 6 times times the age of said universe. And God created all this In a few days. So you tell me how anyone could possibly know him.
Scientists accept that there’s up to possibly10 trillion galaxies in the universe. It’s reasonable to assume, based on observations, that the average galaxy has 100 billion stars, and the average stars have around the same number of them as our own star, the Sun. That means there’s roughly 10 trillion times 100 billion times 10 planets in the universe, which is 10 trillion trillion. And of all these planets, many of which could harbor life, God picks us to be the special ones?
I think that’s spectacularly unreasonable. Either God doesn’t exist, or God has gazillions of species for whom he created the universe. If it’s the latter, then it’s unbelievably self-centered to assume we’re the primary species, which means the Bible is ultimately vainglorious, prejudicial and wrong. And if the Bible is wrong, all the branches of Judeo Christianity are wrong, too.
So I don’t believe in religion. But I do believe there well may be a universal spirit, which is why I think I’m spiritual.
So this leaves me with a choice. Either I believe
dislike ‘religion’, but I do have a spiritual side – I think.
Beantown,
I don’t think your argument actually follows. The Bible says nothing about the rest of the universe, the planets and whether there could be other species.
I’m not defending the Bible particularly, just logic.
But that’s my point. Why not? Why wouldn’t God mention the rest of the universe? Surely he would know that we’d eventually find out about it anyway.
Beantown,
Well that is a tough question because I don’t believe the Bible comes from God although some parts may be inspired by a person “in the spirit;” in fact, not necessarily always the same spirit. I see big, irreconcilable differences.
But there are many things the Bible “could” have said. More about germ theory, perhaps genetics. How fossil fuels could be put to use. Why didn’t God mention those things. Perhaps we are supposed to discover things on our own. It certainly seems that way.
It always surprises me when people think God ought to do things their way, even though I can see holes in their arguments.
At any rate, it does not follow that because the Bible is silent on things about the cosmos which the people of the day had no way of knowing, that it means God taught that only humans are the important or unique species. It is true that some Christians think that, but I just don’t know why.
Beantownbill. I suspect time and space do not exist as we understand them. Everything impacting our senses is a form of illusion, including that vast universe we see and believe real.
The easiest familiar characterization of what is going on: we are in a holographic computer game playing roles, having forgotten our true identities and existence in another form of reality. All this bickering over wealth and identity politics, etc. is a deliberate distraction to keep us focused on the game of earthly life – the illusion.
Those who imprison us are terrified that we wake up, remember, and deal with them.
Why would they want to hide our true identities in the first place? Why would we deal with them? What did they do to us? Your post is a fun exercise, but totally lacking in proof. Simulation theory developed with the concepts of super AIs and computer gaming.
I read about a hard-nosed computer expert who said that it would require an infinite amount of energy to run such a simulation.
I’m not really sure that I understand your first point. If you assume that God is omnipresent and omniscient as indicated in the Bible for example then it is entirely possible that God could be both knowable to an individual by revelation and cosmically infinite at one and the same time. From the biblical perspective God never says the Earth is the center of everything. And at the same time the message in the Bible is for us here on Earth but that doesn’t preclude the possibility of other worlds. In fact there are a few verses that indicate that there indeed may be other planets with life.
KJV
Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
So its possible there are gazillions of species out in the universe. And maybe we don’t need to know much about them in this life because we will not meet them? But its all food for thought and I’m not claiming to know it all or understand it. I suspect you are both spiritual and religious based on what you have shared here. But right now you grapple with very common misconceptions regarding religion so you stay neutral most of the time and would rather be considered spirtual because its relatively noncommittal.
The last sentence in your last paragraph has some merit. I feel there’s something – a universal force, an energy field, something – out there, but I don’t know what it is. That’s my spiritual side.
The concept of God is written in the Bible – humans wrote the Bible. My experience of the world informs me not to have faith in what people say. Otherwise I’d believe everything the Democrats say is true (lol). Why not? The answer is obvious. Therefore, I’ve based my life on reason and logic.
Humans have always told me inaccuracies, either through ignorance or spitefully on purpose. So why should I believe the Bible, just because lying, cheating humans say so?
The Bible is just one religious book; there are many others. How do I know which one is correct. Being religious is just too much for me. Being spiritual, on the other hand, acknowledges something higher exists in some manner, and validates my sense of that. So no, I’m not religious. But if you feel I’m religious, go for it. I don’t mind.
I was just surfing the youtubes there and I watched Jim talk to some kindly Vermontian Sustainable Transportation group there that are based around a college in Vermont about the state of US transportation. It was a rather humorous talk, because of the funny reactions he got from “Brianna” the university intern who tried her damndest to appear interested in what Jim was talking about, and her good professor who suddenly appears magically later in the talk to replace his bored looking student– and gives Jim the rank as “thought leader” (funny term) in transportation affairs. I guess I can’t blame Brianna too much. I mean, when a fella shows up & blows up your ontological cardboard box into smithereens with talk about the entropic nature of US society & that Brianna’s future may be in fact composed of many long future decades of wood chopping & sewing– she may have been unexpectedly & unwillingly forced to rethink her college degree in the space of the program. I don’t know. But anyway, it was worth the short viewing.

Today I heard the first mention, from a major, mainstream(for some) news source, which was NPR, concerning the recent CIA whistle blower account of the Seal team 6, Bin Laden decoy, helicopter shoot down, blackmail by Clinton, Brennan, Biden and Obama story. Only heard a few minutes as I was in route to an appointment. What little I heard was on par for the party it came from. Anyone else hear it?

Yes, I heard it. The version I heard was that Iran blackmailed Obama because they had removed OBL from Pakistan and we did not get the right guy, and that seal team 6 were then murdered because they knew.

Well fellas let me chime in and wish you a crazy one too as I was yanked from my mama’s crotch on November 23, 1940 by Dr. Wilkerson in Bryan, Texas.
On my 23rd birthday at my boyfriend’s family’s farmhouse in Futata (Kumamoto, Kyushu), Japan I awoke expecting to hear a cheery round of “Omedetou Gozaimasu” but instead of congrats I got a booby present of “Your President has been shot”. Happy fucking birthday indeed. And it all began.
The best documentary narrative I’ve read on those events was the fictional work by James Ellroy: “The Cold Six Thousand”.
The following year I was working on a Rockefeller Foundation grant in Cali, Colombia university (yes, that Cali), setting up an ESL program for medical students. None of them believed the lone gunman fairy tale. They enjoyed punning on the nama of the city: “Balas” (“bullets”) instead of “Dallas”.

Benr, YOU, of all people, calling someone else an idiot is rich. I have wanted to ask YOU this very question (above) a hundred times. Your most egregious failure as a comment writer (content aside), among the many I could enumerate (don’t get me started on your lack of punctuation), are the misuse of the word then for than. It must be terribly hard for you. There is only one letter difference in their spelling and they sound almost the same pronunciation-wise. It is sooooo hard to know which one is the correct one to use in any given situation /sarc. You are so utterly consistent in this error that I KNOW it cannot reasonably be termed a typo. You really ARE a disgrace.
Similarly, you are very consistent in typing to when it should have been too. I will cut you some slack by assuming you actually know the difference but are simply too lazy to press the letter o key twice.

Yes, Q…benr, aren’t you a computer/IT guy? You know how crucial correct syntax is in writing machine code, but you don’t apply the same fastidiousness to human code!
Machine code as in assembly?
Assembly is tedious as fuck and not to many people write it any more. No thanks not for all the tea in China.
Most IT guys don’t write code beyond various scripts in VB, powershell in the windows world. Programmers write code.
Subtle difference I get paid to write scripts which simplifies various tasks that are otherwise very tedious.
Further plagiarizing existing scripts is very much in play and standard practice no sense re-inventing the wheel when there are millions of existing scripts that do pretty much everything.
Also there are various ways to step through code and find mistakes.

I’ve read about many unsolicited kind acts the President has performed, before he was even president. Last year when the president was being impeached we sent him a card wishing him well. I strongly suspect the signature was applied to the thank you letter by a machine.
When I was the Accounting and Finance Officer at Duluth AFB we issued about 10,000 checks per month. There was a device called the “signature head” that was kept in a vault. My signature was on this head. The head was installed in a machine and it did all the signing for me. No writer’s cramp.
Even so a nice note even signed via machine is a nice touch.

I wonder if people generally take a step back to consider how much the elite political class very generally despises and hates the ordinary middle class, working class, or poor person? So it seems odd or possibly just agenda driven to point at one person specifically. Joe Biden actually said the American people do not deserve to know if he will or won’t support packing the Supreme Court should he be elected. I would submit that is a perfect demonstration of contempt. It might be better to not let someone you clearly hate live rent free in your head all day. You are allowing yourself to be occupied it would appear.
Isn’t “Sure, I’ll release my taxes” and then never doing so similarly contemptuous?
I suppose it is possible but I would think it is less so. Being that Trump’s taxes won’t necessarily affect the lives of every single American the way a Supreme Court ruling will. I would think it is all within degrees. TBH I personally am not concerned about his taxes at all. It is more than common knowledge that anyone who can tries not to pay them with any loophole available.

So, all pornographers and all pedos and all exhibitionists are Jews? I didn’t know that. Tsk, Tsk. Why dont you read “Brotherhood of Warriors: Behind Enemy Lines with a Commando in One of the World’s Most Elite Counterterrorism Units” by Aaron Cohen.
This Jewish kid was born in Beverly Hills, his parents were movie actors.Once while they were on vacation he maxed out their credit cards so they shipped him to military high school in Canada.
There he acquired a taste for military history and, after graduation, went to Israel.Served 2 years in the regular army then wanted to join Sayeret Matkal. They told him “There is nothing wrong with you.But.Half of your life you spent in the US.Take a hike.”
So he joined Sayeret Duvdevan (poison cherry) ,1 step down in the Israeli special forces hierarchy.
This book is better than any of James Bond novels. And it is true story.
Bottom line:
No theory is comprehensive enough to include real Israeli patriots and poisonous NYT-WaPo snakes which do their best to destroy our history and civilization.
Maybe I will read it. The ‘discussion’ is not meaningless to me.
@ beantownbill
Not a blanket statement at all. I was very, very specific. Here, I will be more specific. In fact, I’ll quote Haaretz.
In this article, Haaretz lists some of the prominent jewish men accused of predatory sexual behaviour in recent years.
https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/.premium-not-just-weinstein-the-year-metoo-rocked-and-shocked-the-jewish-world-1.6480994
“In addition to (Harvey) Weinstein and (Leon) Wieseltier, the list of Jewish men implicated in #MeToo over the past 12 months includes former Democratic senator Al Franken; ousted CBS chief Les Moonves; actors Dustin Hoffman, Jeffrey Tambor and Jeremy Piven; directors Woody Allen, James Toback and Brett Ratner; playwright Israel Horowitz; journalists Mark Halperin and Michael Oreskes; conductor James Levine; and radio show hosts Leonard Lopate and Jonathan Schwartz.”
Jewish culture.
But what does it matter? They were all just shiksas, right?
And in case you find Haaretz paywalled:
https://phiquyenchinh.org/2019/08/05/predators-united-gilad-atzmon-%E2%80%A2-august-4-2019/
“In 2018 we also learned about the Nxivm sex cult and the role of Clare Bronfman at its centre. The Jewish Forward wrote that Nxivm’s leader attracted “several prominent figures to his group, including heiress Clare Bronfman, who pleaded guilty in April to credit card fraud and harbouring an undocumented immigrant who provided unpaid “labor and services.” Bronfman is the daughter of the legendary ultra Zionist billionaire Edgar Bronfman (1929 –2013) who was president of the World Jewish Congress. In his obituary, Edgar Bronfman was described by Haaretz as “prince of the Jews.” His daughter has been ordered to pay a penalty of $6 million out of her $200 million fortune, and she faces up to two years in prison.”
“Bloomberg, not exactly an ‘anti-Semitic’ outlet, dug into The Complicated Orbit of Jeffrey Epstein. Zionist enthusiast Leslie Wexner was identified as Epstein’s ‘patron’. The Jewish virtual library informs us that Wexner “often support[s] .. Jewish projects. He serves as Honorary Vice Chairman of the Board of Congregation Aguda Achim… [And] established the Wexner Foundation, which runs both a Graduate Fellowship and an Israel Fellowship Program.”
Bloomberg lists the following as amongst Epstein’s ‘business partners’: Harvey Weinstein, Mort Zuckerman, Donny Deutsch, Nelson Peltz, Ehud Barak and Ponzi aficionado Steven Hoffenberg.”
Jews from the media and politics and the Big End of Town are always very keen to set up leagues and movements and conferences and talking shops and pressure groups of all kinds to push the goyim this way and that, to complain about and criticize and cancel the goyim and to let the goyim know just how evil they are and how they have to give up more power and more power and more power and be sorry and then sorry again and after that even ever more sorry and to never ever ever defend their own ethnic of racial interests becase that would be racism which of course only whites can be guilty of…if whites even exist!
But if we point out a home truth about Jewish abuse of power (and the often bizarre history of jewish attitudes to sex and non-jews) then the tribal reaction is outrage, broad brush! sweeping generalizations!, bigotry!
That is, denialism.
Jews might to take a good long look at themselves and at jewish power…and I am sure they will, for jews are jews’ own favorite subject…and when they do, they will, as always, conclude that jews are entirely justified in their stance of jewish supremacy.
So stop persecuting us!
Shit, we got another one here at CFN, the blog started by a Jew. You ain’t too smart.
Oh, BTW, you haven’t named the other 14 million Jews as sexual perverts. Even if you named a thousand, that would be 1/14,000th, which is less than 1%. I wonder what the non-Jewish perversion rate is. Probably more than 1/14,000th.
For being an anti-Semite you need to be more bright than you are.
A more accurate approach to statistics in such a matter would be:
1) Look at all those exposed in our society as sex perverts,
2) Figure out how many of them are Jewish,
3) Compare that percentage to the overall percentage of the population which is Jewish.
I’m not condemning anyone or reaching any conclusions; I’m just suggesting how to take a scientific statistical approach (as opposed to an anecdotal approach) to the issue.
The combative historian David Irving, in a typical confrontational outburst at his antagonists, asked the same question. [I paraphrase]: “So why are you so hated and persecuted? Why are you driven from country to country? Have you ever thought to stop and ask yourselves this question?”
He won no brownie points for that point. To me as a neutral party (I’m not a Jew – I’m a Genital) I thought it was a valid query, one that should give pause for thought.
Unfortunately with Irving it quickly degenerates into SLAM-BAM-YOU’RE ANTISEMITIC-NO I’M NOT and so on. I did some volunteer editing for him on his excellent on-line biographies of Third Reich malefactors, which had been wretchedly digitized in India (!) until he got fed up and told me to piss off. So off I pissed.
Bill I thought you mentioned before that you were white with blond hair and blue eyes. It seems like if one is speaking of race alone and not culture or religion say then you would certainly be considered white by most people.
It’s true. I was just being very sarcastic. Thank you.
Jews in the media are invariably white or jewish, as is politically convenient.
Because whites, you see, don’t have a place on the victim totem pole.
@Marlin and blue kayak re slant 6:
I had a 1970 Plymouth Duster 225 h.p. with a slant 6 for 9 years. I loved that car, and so did all the mechanics who ever worked on it. I only had one problem with it over the years: an alternator went flooey and I had to replace it. Never had to do any other repair over the 9 years. I only gave it up 2 years after I was able to snag an 8 cyl 1977 Impala at an auction at a very low price – which I kept for 17 years.
After the Impala I’ve been buying new cars every 2 years. I’ve yet to pay for a repair. I could have leased them but I like owning things.
Bill, the thing is with an alternator replacement on a Slant 6, the alternator is front and center, an easy switch. Take the core down to your local junkyard, trade it for a rebuilt alternator, give the man (junk yard guy) $25, and you’re back in business.
Those Dusters were cool, one of the lesser known Muscle Cars.

I first saw these guys in 1980…a small-town boy, stunned at the beautiful ‘noise’ and the beehive hair-dos. Freddy Schneider with the feedback-loop from a broken walkie-talkie. Innovative soft punk.
383 cu in!
That’s what Dodge put in its Superbee, slick yellow paint job, black stripe around the front grill, big bumblebee decal on rear quarter panel.
Right out of the showroom with a bucket seat, competition wheels and tires, 4 on the floor stick, and of course that unmatched Chrysler V8. The ‘gas crisis’ put an end to all that madness. All the sudden everybody was driving a Ford Pinto.

Also bought a Volare. I forgot about that because my 1st wife got it when we got divorced. Jeez, the things I forget.
It turns out even Fox News declined to publish the New York Post Hunter Biden story because it was unreliably sourced and not credible.
Can someone please explain to me when Fox went MSM?
Fox was bought by a leftist turd and you can see it in the programming as of late.
Three or fours shows worth watching at best.
Tucker and Mark Levin knock it out of the park every night.
All about podcasts am talk radio and a little OAN to get at the truth.
“Leftist turd” = Disney Corporation, I’m guessing.
Who’s this OTHER ‘leftist turd’ on the Board – some guy called Paul Ryan?
no idea do some research and get back to us.
Yep! Paul Ryan is a progressive who will shape shift into a RINO when it makes sense. He is another elitist living in a gated community world separate from the rest of us.
Idiotic Gavin Newsome sending state back into shutdowns!
Time to recall this dithering fool.
Enough is enough.
Gavin Newsom “Recall Kiosks” are popping up all over the place. I’ve seen numerous street corners around Los Angeles with petition signing tents set up

6″ today and still falling…no green grass now ’til at least mid-March.
But no BLM likely either. A little cool weather has a way of keeping the riffraff at bay, especially the troublemakers who descend on our fair cities from warmer climes and those nasty red states. Ask me about Ilhan Omar sometime. JHK and I have had some interesting back and forth on her.
For some reason, today’s weather reminds me I need to rewatch “Fargo”. Go Bears!
For any readers who care, I was once the proud owner of a 1978 Dodge Aspen. The slant 6 was a bulletproof engine, but the rest of the car was a piece of shit. I coaxed 93,000 mi. out of it and sold it to a columnist for the local cat box liner, but it was not a good car.
Going to listen to some Doc Watson now on a real record player. Goodnight, Kim.
Oldest car I had was a 1976 Toyota Corona and a 1978 Ford Courier.
Ford ran like a low powered top and the Toyota I beat the living crap out of it not, one part of that car was undented.
Used to take it mud whomping and jumped it out in Placerita Canyon where they filmed a lot of the Dukes of Hazard show.
This was back when Santa Clarita was still small town vibe with lots of wide open undeveloped spaces.
The first car my immediate family owned was a 1940 dodge. The bottom door plates had rusted away and the outside air would blow in. We used to joke about it having air conditioning.
Then we got a 1947 green two-toned Pontiac sedan. After the Dodge, it seemed like a luxury car.
First car I ever purchased was a 53 Studebaker 2dr Coupe. Fifty Dollars, and had a half a tank of gas. Put an Earl Scheib $19.95 paint job on it, drove it for years…traded it in finally for a 1957 Pink Cadillac.

Guess the reference to ‘first car’ made me take the bait.
My first car was a 1966 Chevy Impala. Burgundy with a white hard top. It had a 327 engine, and you could pull the keys out of the ignition while it was still running, lol! I bought it from a higher middle management person of a Canadian national bank for $500.00. The previous owner was literally the ‘ little old lady from Pasadena’ who drove it to the grocery store and had it serviced twice a year at the dealership. It’s too bad the young people of today are unable to have that experience.
I guess we are all looking for some kind of diversion while we await the ‘big night’ two weeks from today. I don’t have a horse in the race being from the Great White North, but I have to say if I did my money would be on Trump. Love him or hate him, he is more or less transparent. Any fool can see what Jim refers to as ‘The Resistance’ has made his job so much more complicated than any previous President. Maybe that’s a sign of the times……hard to know.
Hard to ignore what’s been accomplished in the Middle East. The common sense of pulling troops out of well healed countries like Germany, bringing American wages up by curtailing immigration, and especially calling out American companies that want the tax benefits of locating in places like Ireland while their product assembly is really not based in USA. ( Apple).
How could anyone support a party that stood back silently this summer while America was burned, looted, and had its history dismissed. The game is up for BLM, Antifa, and all the other woke wannabees. Like Moses parted the Red Sea, so shall the unspoken, unpolled voters of America show those who call themselves ‘woke’ what a real ‘wake up call’ looks and feels like…………….
Yea snaggle but haters are going to hate and drive this country off the cliff.
After all many of them believe this country was founded on evil and nothing it has ever done is worth saving or remembering.
Anyone still voting for Biden has no rational leg to stand on and accuse Trump of anything because anything they accuse Trump of Biden has been engaging in for forty years and doubled down several times on over those years.
Racism
greed
fraud
Graft that would make boss Tweed blush.
Pervy behavior with young girls.
Some people might spend 15 minutes in a shop, although it takes me longer than that to do the grocery shopping. But that is not the concern. The concern is people who wear them 40 hours per week, and little kids in school wearing them 30 hours per week, with a masked teacher for 6 year olds and people getting headaches and sore throats.
Giuliani on Newsmax: evidence through e mails that Sniffy Joe knew of his son’s ongoing encounter with 14-year-old girl without, of course, reporting it to appropriate authorities. One-third of over a thousand pix on hard drive were of her, and in compromising positions. Many other pix of girls of same age.
Hunter is called Joe’s long-time “bagman”. Ole Joe could’ve got any flunky to carry out his chicanery, but he used his own son, which, aside from treason and major criminality, is both incredibly stupid and paternally monstrous.
A few posters upthread said that the sports-addled, cheese-doodle munching voters would either not know or not care about these revelations, and that Biden would cruise to victory. But oddsmakers (the real ones, who stay in business by setting shrewd lines, unlike the bought-and-paid-for HuffPo polls) had Trump at 34% six days ago and 44% yesterday. It’s gonna keep ticking upwards.
The most entertaining news story in the next two weeks will be the Where’s Waldo sightings of Joe. Actually, 50/50 that there’ll be more Jimmy Hoffa sightings.
And too bad tens of millions have already voted. If true, seems like it is, this really has to get out there. Where is Barr, Where is Wray?
And what could they actually prove against Joe? Bad judgement?
If that evidence is in fact there, someone, maybe Pence?, has to address the nation. Trump will be stifled at the so called debate.
Go on the attack for a fucking change!!! Get this out!!!
I am now far, far beyond believing that the destruction of America is just the result of the misguided good intentions of the elites.
This is deliberate destruction, with evil goals.
Convince me otherwise.

The effects of allowing chaos to prevail in liberal run cities across America might not be obvious to liberals now, but when their cities empty out completely, it’s going to become crystal clear.
Such is the case in San Francisco, where the city’s new normal of shoplifting and chaos has driven another Walgreens pharmacy out of the city.
The move to close the Walgreens at Van Ness and Eddy came after “months of seeing its shelves repeatedly cleaned out by brazen shoplifters”, according to the SF Chronicle. The location served “many older people” who lived in the area.
One customer told the paper: “All of us knew it was coming. Whenever we go in there, they always have problems with shoplifters.”
The same customer photographed someone in the store, days prior, “clearing a couple shelves and placing the goods into a backpack”. Because when there’s no police and politicians are afraid to enforce the law – why not?
The penalty for shoplifting is a “nonviolent misdemeanor” that carries a maximum sentence of 6 months. But in most cases, for simple shoplifting, the criminal is simply released with conditions.
The customer, who lives a block away, said: “I feel sorry for the clerks, they are regularly being verbally assaulted. The clerks say there is nothing they can do. They say Walgreens’ policy is to not get involved. They don’t want anyone getting injured or getting sued, so the guys just keep coming in and taking whatever they want.”
When the Chronicle went to visit the store, they noticed “aisle after aisle of near empty shelves” and said that beauty products seemed to be a favored target. While the Chronicle was in the store, a man with a mask on walked in, emptied two shelves into a bag and walked out the door.
When they asked a clerk where all the products were, the clerk responded: “Go ask the people in the alleys, they have it all.”
Walgreen corporate commented: “Organized retail crime in San Francisco has increased the challenge for all retail, and Walgreens is not immune to that.”
This location is the third Walgreens to close in the city over the past year.

Now what are we going to do about those “food deserts”?
Hair straightening chemicals are a coveted item amongst shoplifters in ‘The Community’.
The ‘Food Desert’ that Hartford has become is a regular topic for Dems come election time — of course caused by ‘Racism’ — but what’s never mentioned is that grocery stores were thoroughly looted and burned out in the ’68 riots, never to be rebuilt. Every once in awhile a new store is opened. An NBA star did just that about 20 years ago, to great fanfare and attention, as you can well imagine. I think it lasted about 2 years before closing up.
Brh
Two years? That’s some deep pockets.
Well, it’s not just the shoplifting; robberies and muggings in the parking lot, car jackings, the presence of armed security, and bars on the windows creates a sense of danger and disorder, and does not lend itself to a satisfying shopping experience.
Brh
BRH, the BLM has shown up in town. Large group of teens, (no nothings as I call them), have been standing on the town green with signs. Only on nice days of course. There is an F150 in town with two large flags in the back. MAGA and Trump 2020. When the BLM crew is out there he goes around and around the green. It drives the wokesters nuts. On another note up thread you mentioned the gas crunch in the 70’s putting an end to the muscle car era. Not so fast. Hummer is out with a 1000 hp monster truck. 0-60 in 3 seconds. Ultimately practical for grocery getting, that is if there are any groceries to get. Of course it is all electric and produces ZERO emissions. 350 miles range . Yea right. Drive it in a snowstorm at 0 degrees with full defrost, wipers and lights running and I bet you would be lucky to get 100 miles out of the pig. I guess I won’t be plowing with one. 115,000 bucks a pop and reservations are full. GO GREEN! As in my green 1996 suburban plow truck.
RIP what’s the pricetag on that electric Hummer? About 150gs? I’m sure GM will sell a ton of them.

If true, this would explain a lot. Pedophilia often runs in families and it appears, based on Joe fondling children on camera, that Joe is the current head of the rotting fish. I wonder what Joe has done behind closed doors?

Those little wokester girls think of themselves as leftists, but what would hardcore Old Bolshevik revolutionary leftists make of them — men like Felix Dzerzhinsky, Lev Kamanev and Gregor Zinoviev? These hard men most likely wouldn’t see these girls as Comrades, especially as the girls nibbled on vegan treats and drank a cup of soy milk. Felix Dzerzhinsky — Iron Felix — head of the Cheka, who liked to wolf down steaks, would most likely subject them to the most brutal interrogation, then ship them to the Kolyma gulag; give them a taste of some real ‘Leftism’, show these ladies what Marxism is all about.

Hint Jim likely does not care what you think and while you are embarrassed you should be more ashamed of your own failings in that you can’t see what he is trying to hit you over the head with.
No, the really foolish person is the one that believes that the coordination and federal universality of the Liberal philosophy that is witnessed every single day, that the very organized onslaught that has been aimed at the president For the last four years by just about every power source is purely coincidence. Conspiracies abound in DC, it is how the place works. Trying to identify the illegal corrupted ones should be one of the jobs of the intelligence community. Instead, they just joined in.
Hunter Biden obviously believes, like the Communists, that there’s a “Higher Morality” that justifies corruption, raw mindless violence, brutality, water boarding, and abrogation of basic human rights and due process?

There is a segment of humanity that is motivated solely by power. They will do anything to get power, because part of their make up is they have no conscience. The Deep State is a concentration point for these people.
My own personal theory is that humans are wired to seek power.
I think you are on to something. I sometimes find myself gravitating to centers of authority and power.

In the tropics, there is nothing more charming than the low rise, colonnaded and arcaded colonial style stone buildings – French, English, Portuguese – of merchant houses and administration buildings with their columns, arcades high ceilings and high windows, double louvered doors and balconies.
No air con, no lifts. Broad entry ways and sweeping stairs. Human in scale. Not alienating or intimidating. Mostly gone now but you still see nice patches here and there in most S. E. Asian cities.
It’s worth a trip to Penang (nice tourism destination anyway) just to have a peek at those old historic English colonial buildings. Many still standing, and used as government offices.
And the food in Penang and Malaysia as a whole is just outstanding.
The oddity of it is they don’t want skyscrapers for business but they want to do away with single family housing and go straight up for human habitation.

If you go to Shanghai they have built two cities of vertiginous skyscrapers but the only buildings your eyes want to rest on are the colonial style buildings that still survive on the Bund.
Everywhere else the urban planning seems to be based on advanced designs for an ant farm.

Lord God Emperor Trump decrees it.
https://www.oann.com/president-trump-we-have-to-open-up/
benr,
Are you mocking Trump for wanting to open up?
Thousands of world experts, mostly doctors and epidemiologists, have signed petitions and petitioned their governments to please listen. Lockdowns do little, but have killed and will kill many, many times more people than the virus ever could.
Where is the compassion for them? Compassion only for 80-year-olds?
Their is a very good reason that we have the expression “making a living.” Focus on the word ‘live.’ You need to make a living in order to live. Enforced business failures is a government telling certain people that they will no longer have the right to live.
It really is that serious and that stark.
Saw my first Kamala 2020 shirt on a nasty looking obese female with face tattoos and countless piercings at a local Vons. She was some sort of mid thirties Goth princess and belonged on the Walmart shoppers picture escapade.
First time in this entire Trump administration I wished for a maga hat just to watch her lose her shit at me.
I find it so odd that a Trump shirt or hat all but guarantees some sort of confrontation while a Biden or Kamala accessory gets all but ignored.
I had to fight down the urge to ask her what she thought was so worthy of voting for Harris.
Her stance on locking up as many black people as she could for minor weed offences and then laughing about her own dabbling in smoking it or her authoritarian stance on everything or the fact she called Smokin Joe Bidet a racist.
Could it be her own green new deal grandstanding and then backing away from it when Pence pinned her ears to the wall?
Is it a female thing or a black thing and I can’t possibly understand.
In the end I let her go on her way since my wife would have killed me for the scene it would have created.
Maybe It is a sympathy response for someone who would favor a Liberal cause. You cannot take them seriously.
This is a huge conservative mistake.
The biggest mistake was hearing them call you the enemy for years and not taking that serious.
Comment on your statement on Harris and the marijuana. Part of the Liberal cause is national legalization of weed. Turn the people into nebbishes so they are easier to control. Hard drugs will follow. Right now, it fits.
Definition:of “Nebbish” – a person, especially a man, who is regarded as pitifully ineffectual, timid, or submissive from late 19th century: from Yiddish nebekh ‘poor thing’.
Illinois (like several states) already has licensed recreational marijuana shops. If Biden wins, I may visit one.
Bam!
I have a MAGA hat you can have when this sorry sack of shit is sent packing.
You see, I have a disguise of MAGA hat, novelty teeth, nerd glasses and wild unkempt hair that I wear to trumper rallies. My aim is to try to ferret out just what motivates these morons – what they might be thinking about.
Of course the result is expected – the is no there there. Just canned nonsense simple enough to be able to regurgitate on cue. They have to political philosophy, no ideas of any sort. Just the dull, vapid stare of the cult-follower.
We are so fucked.
I can sum it up in two key phrases.
Hillary Clinton was far worse.
Joe Biden is almost as bad as Hillary was.
Kamala Harris is a no go with her record in California and her extreme stupidity on display.
You could vote green party but oh wait the Dems sued them off the ballot.
I love that you have been banned 7 times now and keep returning.
So pathetic.
Professor,
You are lying. You have not gone to Trump rallies and found no one there and no ideas. Leftist projection again.
People going to Trump rallies are happy, friendly, and eager to answer your questions.
The ideas are this: America has much good in it worth saving. The American experiment was actually going fairly well. Human rights, civil rights and the constitution are worth saving. There is huge corruption throughout government and it is time to do something about it. We must reestablish the rule of law. Hate is not the answer.
People who go to trump rallies are ignorant sheep who eagerly endanger their health in the service of the worst con-artist of all time.
Soon this nightmare will be done with. The Southern District will come calling with their charming yoo-hoos
The sight of the obese trump in an orange jumpsuit might just make the last 4 years worth it – oh, if you don’t count the hundreds of thousands dead that this criminal piece of garbage is responsible for…
I think they should be challenged if you felt safe doing so. Because one reason they have become such bullies and so out of touch is that no one confronts them.
Speaking of ridiculous authoritarian doings.

Do we still refer to German people as “Krauts”? In the Rat Patrol, how come they don’t call the A-rabs “Rag Heads”? Is Obama a “Rag Head” since some of his ancestors in East Africa were A-rab slave traders who mixed with the local blacks?

Pucker,
Did you catch my comments in last Friday’s forum. It ought to be worth a chuckle to someone with an interest in the Bill Cosby story……
Biden and Cosby cellmates. Now that would be a great SitCom.
Biden, “Bill, did you put something in my lime jello? I fell asleep right after I ate it and then woke up this morning with a sore asshole”.
Cosby smiling: [makes indecipherable comedic noises in praise of jello, ending with the words “pudding pops”]
Are CNN and the rest of the lame stream presstitutes still trying to sell the story that Hunter Biden’s laptop is a Russian creation? I’m too disgusted to watch propaganda TV.
That would be a very sophisticated operation. Pictures of a naked crack pipe toting Hunter cavorting with underage girls. Hunter writing and speaking about the aforesaid cavorting with his father. All the e-mails about personal stuff, trip schedules to pick up “honoraria” in unmarked bills, on and on.
Even the Biden family hasn’t claimed the laptop is a fabrication. just the news networks devoted to lying and cover-ups.
I bet you anything that the reality of it is that all of these elite well connected people are circling the wagons because basically all of the most ultra wealthy super in-crowd families are crime networks that are deeply compromised and covertly completely treasonous. And their crimes do involve horrific involvement in the modern slave trade I believe but that is my opinion.
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.
H.L. Mencken, 1921
BLM campaign worked like a charm. No Breonnas,Lakeeshas,Trayvons were arrested (much less killed) last week.
Nowadays they can do pretty much what they want-deal dope, shoot each other with gay abandon or even visit local Walgreens and get reparations for slavery capped at $950 per payee per visit.

Recently at the gas station I saw an old uncared-for sign Terrorist Threat Alert with needle pointing green meaning “extremely low”
WTF ???
Random observations///
SONY endorses BLM. Some tortured calculus there.
LA is notorious for its rows of street folk living in tents. What is the incidence of Covid? One hears nothing about it. Do we assume by now they are all dead?
Ditto San Francisco. All we hear of there is another closing of a Walgreens. The fine citizens go in and fill their bags with stuff and walk out. The staff can do nothing. The authorities do nothing. The losers are the local elderly who rely on it for their medications. Tough darts, wrinklies. Of course anyone who ever read Makes Me Wanna Holler groks the M.O. In that screed the author colluded with his girlfriend, a cashier at a department store that in an act of brave investment provided employment and shopping for the Hood. The scam involved price tag changing or other means of “inventory reduction.” After a few years the store simply closed its doors. The author had a curious point of view on all this, merely noting the facts as if disconnected bits of reality. Must be nice to coast through life with no conscience, no guilt, no sense of shame. Could be a frontal lobe thing. Or lack thereof.
But I digress. The really important issue of the day is,
What did Elvis Know? And When did he Know It?
We Demand Answers!
Obama hits the campaign trail.
” ‘Former presidents tend not to delve too deeply into politics and certainly not the politics of their successors,’ David Axelrod, a longtime adviser to Obama, said in an interview. ‘I think that was his plan, but Trump changed that plan.’ ”
No, Trump didn’t change the plan. Joe Biden did.
It’s obvious that the Dems know Joe can’t even handle an anti-Trump finger-wag without poking out his own eye, or reminding everyone that there’s even more horror on that hard drive than has yet been detailed.
So the Dems are playing the Saint Obama card. He will descend from Mount Olympus and “go high” (as Mike O. would say), talking about “change” and “yes we can”. Maybe he’ll come up with a new slogan for 2020. Won’t that be exciting!
Obama’s hosting a “DRIVE-IN” rally. WTF is a drive-in rally. Will they be showing Hunter’s lurid home movies?
There will be BLM carhops.
I am not sure whether you are familiar with this ancient word 🙂
The FBI is investigating Hunter’s laptop as Russian disinformation.
And this:
https://www.politico.com/news/2020/10/19/hunter-biden-story-russian-disinfo-430276
If the lurid photos are there, why haven’t they been leaked? Huh? Huh?
Trump can’t win tomorrow’s debate. Best he can do is avoid getting trounced or making a fool of himself. He gave Biden and the Democrats exactly what they needed to win tomorrow and on November 3rd.
I think you are grasping at straws here.
https://www.oann.com/presidential-candidate-joe-biden-suffers-numerous-breakdowns-in-memory-speech-on-campaign-trail/
Biden can’t win without massive help and a week of nothing but preparing for precanned questions.
I think that the Republicans are grasping at straws here, with the supposed Hunter H-bomb probably turning out to be just a fizzled firecracker. The e-mails are a play, but a relatively weak one. Let’s see the photos of the young girls, if they’re lascivious or not.
So far, indecent photos are only alleged.
Remember, Biden held his own in the last debate and will be confident coming into this one, with Trump on a short leash and muzzled. Then there’s the moderator to consider, and maybe he’s being ‘fortified’ over these last few days.
So Biden does have the help, massive or not, and will be prepared. Watch him dismiss the Hunter scandal as a smear campaign, and then clobber Trump with the covid club, beat him ’till his blubber bruises.
It’s not about Hunter Biden’s depravity. Screenshot already put up of father & son e mail correspondence which shows Biden Sr.’s acknowledgement of Hunter’s relationship with the14 year-old girl. IOW, Joe not reporting horrendous and illegal behaviour, itself a crime.
I’ve seen a few reports that Trump will come out swinging on this stuff –especially the overseas Crime Family angle. Let’s hope. He”ll have to shoehorn it in, off-topic, to his two minute time limits, or whatever they give him. And if they cut him off for doing *that*, TV audience will perk up even more. The “don’t throw me in the briar patch!” ploy.
What’s meant by ‘relationship’?
I don’t think Trump has many options. What you mention is one of his better ones. He can also talk about his accomplishments pre-covid.
He must be ready for questions on health care and taxes. What is the health plan? Don’t be tripped up on taxes.
Trump must curtail discussion on the virus and not be cornered by the moderator. Respond briefly to the topic and then go into things like Biden’s racism, cities full of crime led by Democrats, defunding the police, Biden’s flip-flopping on energy, and his terrible position on immigration, etc.
If Trump is prepared, he can make it clear to the American people just how dangerous Biden and the Democrats can be.
Do your homework Trump, nail this guy.
All Trump needs to ask Joe is what will he do from his day one to combat Covid that is different than what has been done already. The Covid club will fizzle quickly when the stammering Biden has to admit that does not have any more ideas Trump’s group.
Covid. There is no good answer, period. Either mitigate and clobber the economy or let ‘er rip and overload the health care system which will slow the economy.
Now, John, the health care system was never close to overwhelmed except for perhaps a couple of hospitals, which had hundreds of spare beds out in harbor. Second waves are always small. We will not have a large second wave this year, unless the conspirators pull off something either really fake or release a new virus.
Slowing the economy – maybe, probably not. But that is better than killing it, which extended lockdowns slowly do. Also, it is immoral for a govt to decide who gets to live and who has to die.
Tucson,
Spoken in every way as a Trump hater. You are outed.
“If the lurid photos are there, why haven’t they been leaked? Huh? Huh?”
Good question. If all the data is in Guiliani’s hands, why indeed? Is this intended to be a slow-burn leak?
On the other hand, most people are well aware of deep-faking and the credibility of any image can be rendered suspect.
Obama’s new appeal will be to replace Joe after the Event and it will be enacted or judged or condem ed or praised as a Peace Full Way To Reunite to avoid TEOTWAWKI.
As I’ve mentioned already, I’m reading Michael Cohen’s book ‘Disloyal”. It’s a confession and an apology to his family and the American public.
It tells the tale of his involvement with Donald J. Trump from the first phone call until his conviction for lying to Congress. It’s a brutally honest look at himself and just how he fell into the rabbit hole.
It describes just how effectively Mr. Trump has extended his powerful grip onto a large, vocal, and demonstrative minority of the American public. The “Trump Derangement Syndrome” often referred to here is actually an accusation made by those who are suffering from the ACTUAL TDS – those who have fallen into what is, effectively, a cult.
It’s clear from what Mr. Cohen says, in toto, that Mr.Trump really is NOT what he appears to be and is, ipso facto, not the appropriate leader for the USA.
It’s a crying shame that the alternative is so unattractive an option, and I can understand the underlying argument against the Democratic Party. So, I remain in a quandary. Perhaps the 2016 solution of ‘not voting’ remains the best option. Thoughts?
Make a choice like I did and vote. I’m voting Trump, having decided that after looking at the two choices, I will in fact be able to live with myself afterwards. Hail the Grand Goofball of Gotham!
“Grand Goofball of Gotham!”. Nice one.
One thing that is going to come out if the MSM just keeps its mouth shut is how much of Trump’s bad has been a fabrication of hundreds of people that are trying to get fame and money by jumping on the dump Trump bandwagon. Cohen is just one.
The typical scenario I have noted over and over is a former employee of Trump wanting revenge when Trump finally has enough of their disloyalty. Yes, a president running an organization needs to count on people to follow his lead. His appointments have gone into office, tried to change Trump instead of following his lead, and then tried to take revenge for being rejected and fired for disloyalty. Most of what has been published is vitriol, and pure rubbish. TDSers will make these folks rich, believing their BS.
Trump has beaten all of these folks, so who is the better man?
News. Hunter Biden’s laptop has been with the FBI for a year as part of a money laundering investigation. ????
In the meantime, Joe’s lid is on and he is in his basement again. Wonder what is going on?
Oh yeah, the FBI and the DNI have both stated that the laptop is NOT Russian disinformation.
Just another Biden and MSM lie.
Freddie,
I have voted 3rd party for years. Lots of people can’t stand to throw their vote away, but how are we to get more viable parties? I believe part of the problem with our govt not representing us is that we have only two parties, and that it is too easy to buy both off. It also means that the pols have to lie to the people a lot more, because they are trying to appeal to a majority when that majority includes very different group interests, incompatible.
I don’t agree that Trump supporters are cult like. Perhaps some of course. They do question Trump or find him off putting in some ways. It is not an unquestioning loyalty or an enforced loyalty.
sophia
“Loyalty” cannot be enforced. That’s simply compliance under penalty.
“A cult is group of people defined by a “religious” devotion to something — often a self-appointed leader…”
It sure looks like one. The Members wear their MAGA hats and tees, signaling to each other their commonality in the ’cause’.
As to getting third (or more) parties? The USA cannot do that under the current ‘first past the post’ congressional district system, especially with the blatant gerrymandering grifting that has turned the districting process into a joke.
To achieve any sort of fairness, some form of Proportional Representation is needed – such as happens in two-thirds of the world’s electoral jurisdictions (notable exceptions are USA, UK, Canada, India, Pakistan & Australia).
Well, ladies and germs…gather ’round;
A ray of good news and sanity. The BBC reports, this PM, that the POPE, yes, his Holiness, has given sanction to not only homosexuality, but civil unions. Says it’s now OK to do stuff that was once thought…deviant…the infamous crime against nature, and worse!
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-54627625
Janos/Sredni might have comment…Pope says “go for it”….
‘Go for it’ isn’t exactly what he said, though. Although it would make a good Daily Mail headline. Homosexuality is still considered ‘deviant’ doctrinally by the Catholic church and it was just ‘in conversation’. All he’s really saying is that they should be legally allowed the comfort of living in a family before they burn in hell. 🙂 Although, I think, in fairness, he’s reduced the heat of hell as well in his time.
Coincidentally, I caught ten minutes of a programme about the psychopathic Henry VIII this evening (isn’t it odd that you can do all of what he did and that’s fine, but if you happen to be an involuntary admirer of those of your own sex you’re destined for the fiery furnace?).
Anyway, I recall learning elsewhere that Henry allegedly ‘passed over’ as a deathbed Catholic after all his mischief, so no fiery furnace for him, but the point I hadn’t heard before was that 1533 was the date of the first English law against gay sex in England.
The reason being to discredit the monks. Henry, as we know, had his eye on the wealth of the monasteries, so a campaign was started to cast aspersions regarding what those monks must be getting up to, womanless, in their hideaways at the arse end of nowhere. Hence the first anti-homosexuality law.
Janos/Sredni has gone quiet. Perhaps he’s gone ‘sublight’ again, and may return as … well, who knows?
Apologies for ‘English’ and ‘England’ in an annoyingly tautological sentence.

Apropos of nothing: what on earth is gained by pinning those last two letters onto the end of the word ‘program’?
Nothing…while the purported GAIN of dropping them is…what, exactly?
Two less letters to type with no loss of understanding.
Have you read The Elements of Style by Strunk and White?
@ Q. Shtik
But what is to be gained by typing less?
And what would be lost?
As I have pointed out to you before, language use is a social activity. A particular group of users have agreed on certain language practices and these are tied up with socio-political motivations.
Your asinine objections – supposedly, I suppose, based on some autistic notion of thermodynamic efficiency – are irrelevant to any linguistic or usage issues.
As to Strunk and White, they are the hardly the last word in language description, but I wish your last comment were your last words on this moronic theme.
Q. Shtik – you typed 92 (+/-) characters to argue that pointless point, then a further 21 WORDS to defend it, and throw a snarky jibe my way!
I’d just stick with “programme” if I were of that strain of English speaker.
Mr.Q.Shtik;
Occasionally regional differences of English language are quite useful to one’s financial well-being.Once I was looking for a summer rental at the local Craigslist. When somebody posing as a local guy sent me a copy of “barrister agreement” my BS detector started flashing red…
Also it might happen that, in one of those daredevil moods, you decide to visit East Orange or Camden after dark.Reading on the wall for example “fucc you” you will know who is in charge of this place DE FACTO and that red windbreaker you are wearing should go to the garbage can ASAP 🙂
“what on earth is gained by pinning those last two letters onto the end of the word ‘program’?
You’d have to ask the French, Q, whose ancestors came over to add to our language, not that that is the only thing we owe to William the Bastard.
It’s also why we eat mutton (mouton), pork (porc) and veal (veau).
Back in the day just the Norman aristos did, while the peasants ate rabbit, hence no French name on the menu for rabbit meat. Just rabbit.
IT folks have no culture, of course, so they say ‘program’ even over here. 🙂 I would write ‘computer program’, because that’s the way it works. Adaptable we are – couldn’t be anything else in a land that was made by ‘foreigners’ at every turn.
‘Strangers’, that is, from the French ‘étrangers’. The ‘é’ is often dropped and replaced by an ‘s’, in the move from French to English, hence also ‘stable’ (étable) or ‘standard’ (étendard).
William the Conqueror outlawed slavery in Britain.
Prior to this ruling, between ten and twenty per cent of the British people were enslaved. Even the lowest Scotsman would have a southern slave.
William was not just a Conqueror, he was a Liberator.
Yes, he liberated a lot of the land too.
William the Bastard caught a break after the two Harolds slugged it out. But such is history.
Indeed, if we tried to read old English around these here parts we’d be out of luck. Some could find their way through Middle English though.
Sooner or later programme will go by the wayside as will other vestiges of long ago battles.
The dancers are all gone under the hill.
The houses are all gone under the sea.
I knew I could count on you for a legitimate explanation. If I had the power I’d appoint you director of the Olde English Language Programmme in Scotland. (If 2 emz are good 3 must be better.)
The proverbial ‘death-bed contrition’? How perfect!
I recall the Catholic nuns teaching us about this – that it’s NEVER too late to get back on His ‘good side’…
As to the political machinations against the monastic societies – how perfectly cynical.
Jesus never told us to judge people for what they are. Before you pick the speck out of your neighbor’s eye , you better dig the log out of your own.
People are what they are, it is between them and whatever they consider their God. The criteria for judgement day depends on the individual. Not the church, the government or your next door neighbor.
Tolerance!
Tolerance of mental illness is no favor to society.
In NZ, it was recently reported, almost 10% of parliamentarians have a sexual orientation illness.
https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/10/new-zealand-now-has-the-gayest-parliament-in-the-world.html
It has taken an extraordinary and in fact relentless propaganda campaign, along with legal threats and special discussion-chilling legislation (criticise homos and you can lose your job, go to prison, etc) to bring about this state of affairs in that poor, confused nation.
Imagine a nation of heterosexual, sane and family-oriented people, turning over the future of their country to people who despise them as “breeders” and have no genetic stake in the future of the
nation, who are hostile to all of their mores and traditions.
Imagine a country so blinded by destructive, elite propaganda that they would elect people so determined to work against their interests? Indeed, they have been taught that to vote against their own obvious interests is somehow virtuous!
Who, what normal person, forgodsake, says, here is a homo, whose lifestyle, goals, homelife, and mores are entirely inimical to my own, yet I will vote for him?!
Truly, the brainwashing is almost complete.
NZ leader is a really evil woman.
As far as the parliament, not sure how leftist that they are.
@ malthuss
As far as the parliament, not sure how leftist that they are.
New Zealans politics is entirely captive to globalism and identity politics.
And any group that is involved with exclusive identity politics is totalitarian and lost in the ever-more-totalitarian maelstrom of insanity. Because the first thing these groups always do is limit their opponents’ rights to free speech.
And no one is safe, whether it is one of the great scientists of the modern era or a superstar sportsman with Christian religious convictions. Remeber these?
https://edition.cnn.com/2019/01/13/health/james-watson-honors-stripped-intl/index.html
A Nobel Prize-winning American scientist and DNA pioneer has been stripped of his honorary titles at the laboratory he once led after repeating racist comments in a documentary.
James Watson, who helped discover the double-helix structure of DNA alongside Francis Crick in the 1950s based on the work of British chemist Rosalind Franklin, said in a PBS film that genes cause a difference in intelligence between white and black people in IQ tests.
Watson had previously told Britain’s Sunday Times newspaper in 2007 that he was “inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa” because “all our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours, whereas all the testing says not really.”
The scientist added that while he hoped everyone was equal, “people who have to deal with black employees find this is not true.
And another favorite target – so we proles all learn the lesson to shut up lest we also get it in the neck and lose our livelihoods – a prominent sportsmen with Christian religious convictions.

During a church sermon on Sunday, Folau restated that homosexuality was a sin and claimed the devil was behind primary school children being allowed to decide if they wanted to change gender
Wow, what a crazy man! Why can’t we cut off little boys’ dicks? Where are our freedoms?
Former Australia winger Israel Folau has launched another discriminative attack on gay people while also targeting transgender children, saying gender fluidity is the work of the “devil”.
Folau, who was last month sacked by Rugby Australia for posting on social media that “hell awaits” for “drunks, homosexuals, adulterers, liars, fornicators, thieves, atheists, idolaters”, reiterated his views during a sermon at his Sydney church on Sunday.
A devout Christian, he restated that homosexuality was a sin and claimed the devil was behind primary school children being allowed to decide if they wanted to change gender.
“In today’s youths and everything, they are allowing young kids in primary school to be able to have the permission to change their gender if they want by taking away the permission of the parents,” Folau said.
“Now they are trying to take control as a government to make those decisions for young kids who are basically 16 years old or young, they don’t even know what they are doing.”
Folau was not only sacked by Rugby Australia but he has been also rubbed out by other related rugby nations, including Japan, Britain and France and rugby codes, such as the rugby league.
This ban theatened to cost him millions but he sued and has won, but few people who cross the diversity tyrants have the deep pockets of a superstar sportman.
Rugby Australia has apologised to Israel Folau as part of a confidential settlement reached over the former Wallabies player’s sacking and have paid him $14 million.
The homosexuals in the NZ parliament are there in such distorted and alarming numbers because of a totalitarian identity politics that is entirely destructive of democracy, family life, civil society, the law and basic human freedoms.
And as the servants of Sodom, the pederasts exult in that.
That country is the USA. Tolerance does not mean encouragement. Everywhere the deviants have congregated has turned into a shithole. My question always is, where the hell did all these weirdos come from. Still does not give us the right to judge them. Maybe send them all to San Francisco with the gift of a tent.
No homo should have a position that gives him or her educational influence over a minor. BTW- homos elect homos, Muslims elect Muslims, etc. The distortion, 2 Muslims out of 435 representatives, is caused by the MSM.
“No homo should have a position that gives him or her educational influence over a minor.”
My gay nephew, who is neither a pederast nor a rapist, nor any kind of predator or weirdo, has a degree in German and Spanish. He’s quite gifted. (He performs in musicals too – yeah I know, ho ho ho). I don’t know how you’d figure he was even gay, to be honest – his sister didn’t finally ask him until he was about 23, as the family had been idly wondering for a while (they love him – end of).
Currently he’s doing boring translation work. Should we warn him away from becoming a languages teacher? Should we warn his mother, who’s just lost her husband and her other (heterosexual) son that her remaining son is a scurrilous deviant? Because I don’t think the idea has occurred to her, poor benighted woman. Perhaps we should advise her to refer to him henceforth as a ‘homo’ too, instead of just Cal.
German and French, I recall, actually.
Not that it matters. He’s just a scurrilous homo. Poor Cal. I’m his godmother too.

From the keyboard of Kim, champion of “anything goes and nothing matters.” It is expected that readers here, being a cut above the average education-wise, will mentally fill in d’ before the letter s in Zealans.
Note: I read only this far in his/her/its lengthy comment and decided to forego the rest.
Kim,
This is a question I have truly begun to wonder about. I want to know if t is true that other societies were perfectly comfortable with homosexuality. I am tolerant of homosexuality, but I have begun to question it since the whole LGBTQ madness set in right after gay marriage. I’m not really in favor of gay marriage but I think allowing civil unions should be done.
So I am wondering if all this is a slippery slope. Because what is happening now is utterly deranged and damaging, and how did we get to this? I don’t really want to suppress homosexuality or rather, homosexuals, but is it necessary to do so? Perhaps don’t ask don’t tell was the right approach? Maybe the left is always imagining a perfect solution to issues that don’t have perfect solutions and therefore require best case approaches that are not ever perfect?
There seems to be an
