It begins to look like the 2021 elections put a decisive end to the Woke-Jacobin-Progressive reign-of-terror, and its demonic efforts to cancel the authority of truth in human affairs — truth being derived from reality. For years, in an ever-escalating campaign of coercion, persecution, and punishment, the WJPs made their own reality-optional “truth” and foolishly expected the nation to roll over for it. On Tuesday, voters all over the land, in effect, whapped the Party of Chaos upside its head with thirty inches of No. 6 rebar and said “no more.” Days later, the Wokesters are still seeing stars and planets blink in their temporal lobes.

The Virginia governor’s contest illustrated plainly and clearly what was at issue, all crystalized in the Loudoun County School Board’s idiotic behavior this past year. First was the sex module of the mess: A fifteen-year-old boy pretending to be a girl in a dress raped an actual teenage girl in a “Girls’” bathroom. The Loudoun County School Board covered it up so as not to interfere with its innovative gender confusion pedagogy. The boy rapist was transferred to another school where he committed the same crime all over again. Very bad optics. And WJP candidate Terry McAuliffe told parents to stay out of it, stupidly driving a stake through his own heart in the process.

Second was the Woke race module, namely Critical Race Theory, the principle that American society is hopelessly and systemically racist and that white people need to be punished for it. The School Board and its political allies denied that this doctrine of Marxist identity politics was being worked into the curriculum. They were lying, of course, and stupidly, because it was very easy to prove.

Now, I’m going to tell you succinctly what is behind Critical Race Theory, and it’s going to hurt: After sixty-odd years of civil rights policy and legislation, a sizable cohort of African-Americans are not making it in this society and white WJPs (aka “liberals”) are stricken with guilt and shame at the failure of their efforts to uplift this group and heal the world. So, they’ve teamed up with the nation’s race hustlers to construct a scaffold of excuses for why this is so. The actual reasons for why this is so are taboo, namely, liberal deconstruction of American family life, unwillingness to prescribe behavioral norms, and self-sabotaging cultural choices such as the failure to promote the teaching of language skills as a primary task of public education — because ghetto English is more stigmatizing and economically disabling than skin color or any other feature of self-presentation, unless you are a professional comedian. That’s the cold, hard reality and that is what needs to change — but it won’t change as long as race-hustling (making money off the excuses) is considered “okay.”

Too many Americans see through the WJP sex-and-race nonsense and are now voting to evict it from the public square and run it out of the halls of power, at least at the state and local level. For now, though, it remains entrenched at the national level, in Washington, where it receives huge support from the very well-paid permanent bureaucracy that administers bad social policy. The 2021 election results suggest that the Woke Democrats will be run out of Congress and the White House in 2022 — if the USA can make it there without cracking up, which remains painfully uncertain under the toils of Covid-19.

The pandemic, so-called, invokes a dark suspicion of official misbehavior at a higher and more sinister level than the mere political inanities of Wokery. The public health officialdom has lied to the nation at every turn in this melodrama, and to the extent that many rational citizens think that the authorities are out to kill them. For instance, you have Dr. Fauci of the NIAID continuing to deny that he played any part in promoting gain-of-function research on viruses here and in the Wuhan lab. His latest dodge was to change the official definition of gain-of-function to an alphabet-salad of obfuscatory bullshit before a Senate committee — for which Senator Rand Paul once again accused him of lying and beseeched him to resign.

The CDC and the FDA have unleashed a set of untested vaccines on the public that have been shown to produce alarmingly high rates of adverse reactions, both disabling and leading to death. The CDC’s VAERS system for reporting all that is so janky that doctors can barely use it and the CDC refuses to fix it; meanwhile doctors are being punished for even attempting to report adverse reactions. The whole of medical officialdom has militated aggressively against early treatments of Covid-19 with cheap and easily available drugs, even firing doctors who attempt to use the protocols.

The entire approval process of the various vaccines has been rife with fraud, gamed statistics, sabotaged trials, bait-and-switch scams, and unaccountable manufacturing screw-ups — all immersed in a stench of moneygrubbing. The drug companies have refused to fully reveal the contents of the vaccines. Now they are ramping up an urgent campaign to vaccinate children following rushed and falsified clinical trials, with the statistical certainty that many more kids will be injured or will die from the vax than they would from Covid-19 itself.

Citizens have a right to object to this, and to the illegal vaccine “mandate” invoked by the pugnaciously stupid “Joe Biden” regime. There is an awful creeping suspicion in the USA and in other countries that people who have received vaccinations are beginning to present fatal cardiovascular and neurological illness in large numbers, and that an attempt is underway to cover all this up. There is likewise a growing body of evidence that the vaccines and “boosters” incrementally disable the human immune system so that later in the winter of 2021-2022 millions of people will be at risk of dying from Covid variants and virtually any other disease that comes along, including cancers. How many of us are prepared for that?

You can tie about 99.9% of this woke nonsense back to the gender-confused, pronoun-obsessed you know whos and their attempts to paint their perversion as a civil rights issue. Most of the people of color I know (all of whom are pretty much just like you and me in the sense that they work and love America) aren’t buying any of the bullshit.

JMG the Archdruid once wrote an article about what he called “The Rescue Game”. CRT is the institutionalized version of The Rescue Game. The game has roles for three players – Victim (blacks), persecutor (bad whitey), and rescuer (good whitey). You can guess how the game goes, and your assigned role.

In their damned pursuit for power at the national level.

90% of Blacks are still too ignorant to realize they have voted as a bloc for the Democratic Party since 1964 and gotten nothing for it. Do they realize that by doing so, they are still political slaves in this country.

Blacks are a maternal society trying to compete with a strongly paternalistic European based society. The lack of male discipline and direction especially with young men cripples Black Society. Female Black society has increasingly become more dependent on the Federal government for sustenance. The combination is very similar to the Native American reservations. In both, males with no purpose except seeding the females lose their purpose in life and fall into drug or alcohol dependency. A small percentage figure their way out of this losing model and become very successful. A substantial percentage “succeed” by getting into crime. Wokeism has increased the latter substantially.

How to fix it? Get the Soros sponsored local shills out of the city governments and put solid fiscally conservative replacements in place. People that will condemn crime and put all those mules and users back into the slammer. People who will use local talent raise the economic boats and keep the Federal carpetbaggers out of their cities. Strive for independence!

There is a long long way to go, but Virginia may have shown that if you insult people long enough, they may finally start to get it.

I’ll offer that election was rigged in a number of ways, the outcome never in doubt.

Further, the “televised debates” are run by the uniparty, also known as the duopoly, to keep any serious debaters out of the debate and channel the discussion towards their selected individual.

Since television is the way a huge % of the population receives its daily dose of propaganda passed off as “news”, controlling who made it to the stage was managed from the start by a polling system designed to eliminate all but the two, who made their scheduled appearance according to the plan.

Dudley DoRight and the Kenyan wasn’t any sort of a contest.

A number of people raised money to fund an effort to change this system in the courts. The effort failed. The regime won.

My opinion is the courts are mostly, but not exclusively, rigged.
Thus the recourse to redress such issues is constantly being narrowed to a minimum of choices.

This is where it gets interesting, and not in a good way.

Yes JohnAZ, Leftists continue to believe it’s all about throwing more money at the problem. No, it’s about young black men (not all, but a large number of them) finding their purpose in life and embracing values and behavior leading to a successful life.

Traditionally, young males are the protectors of their society, not its predators. The old males are the decision makers, but the young provide the muscle and energy and face the dangers.

Democrats exalt the nanny state and life long dependency salted with perceived victimhood. They encourage reproduction outside of a stable two parent family. They discourage delayed gratification, self-responsibility, academic achievement to include proper language skills.

In fact, everything left wingers stand for seems to degrade and destroy rather than strengthen a society. Coincidence?

          • Not_GeorgeT November 5, 2021 at 11:39 am #

“Leftists continue to believe it’s all about throwing more money at the problem.”

There was a time when I thought this was the case, with the expected result being a fixed problem. I thought the strategy was misguided, not repression by design. Not so, the throwing of money was a bribe to keep the ghetto culture intact, thus maintaining the power structure. It created a dependency spanning generations, becoming a way to live. It was a bribe to surrender freedom and liberty for trinkets.

“Ghetto culture” is not based on race. It is based on a perverse system of economic wealth redistribution. It is designed to keep a substantial portion of the population, regardless of race, dependent on the nanny state, depriving them of knowledge regarding the means of escape along the way.

…”In fact, everything left wingers stand for seems to degrade and destroy rather than strengthen a society. Coincidence?”

Not a coincidence, though a lot of “left-wingers” don’t appear to have sufficient critical thinking skills to discern the reality of the scam.

Though tempting as it is to comment on each of the 4 paragraphs, they stand quite well on their own. Thumbs up.

        • SW November 5, 2021 at 4:57 pm #

But they don’t understand they were insulting people. What they thought they were doing is making sure the minions understood who was in charge and ratify their positions.

They now want to make it about race b/c to admit anything else would expose their authoritative agenda.

        • rundmc November 6, 2021 at 4:43 pm #

Well – for some historical context on this, most African societies are paternalistic as well, as are most Asian and Native American ones. Slavery in the US disrupted (intentionally) those west African norms to weaken the family structure and thereby weaken individuals to more easily subdue them. Unfortunately, post-slavery as black families were beginning to re-establish themselves as full family structures with fathers at the helm (although back in the day, most black families saw mothers and fathers as more equal financial partners than white families) and we began to see real and rapid gains in achievement for black children, white “liberals” funded desegregation efforts which (granted) seemed at the time to be the right progress for all of our civil liberties – and certainly were spearheaded by black intellectuals. This “progress” served to undermine black community structures and, therefore, black families which gave way to regression in achievement and then more white “liberal” funded welfare reform and “free housing” in urban ghettos – but only if there was no husband/father/man in the home. And, on and on we go. Actually, the only surprising thing (and maybe a testament to the actual resilience of black people) is that only a third of black families are in poverty given everything “liberals” – black and white – have done to try to destroy black families.

But, factually, blacks are no more inherently a maternal society than any other. (Not saying there’s anything also inherently wrong with being a maternal society if men are not sidelined). The state that you see many black children in now with nary a father in sight has been the result of hundreds of years of deliberate action – mostly by white Democrats of the past and white and black “liberals” today.

Correct you are, but the “Ultra-Orthodox-Leftist” Not us common
sense-Conservatives. You know who they are. The ones that deny science by denying biology.

And you want to talk about a scandal that the state of California is doing everything it can including moving the ones that have been raped from one prison to another to do everything they can to keep them quiet.

And that’s the women that have been raped by men saying this horse-shit.

“ I am woman hear me roar!! thank you Helen Reddy!! so I have to be with women, or I’ll likely to be raped by men!”

According to one whistle blower guard, One guy raped a woman just as soon as he was put in a cell with her after clearing “in-coming procedures.” And that prison did not bring him up on charges because they knew it would hit the media. So what did they do?

What do you think they did? they do what they’re good at. They lied their ass off and they covered it up by transferring both. Which lo and behold, the black rapist did it again once he cleared “in-coming
        procedures!!”

There wouldn’t be a third time because this warden yanked him out and put him in with men. All according to the whistle-blower guard at the 1st prison that is close friends with the guards at the other prison which just happens to be right down the road from the first prison!!!!!

Ouch! Truth hurts. Of course, a little missive regarding critical thinking would have been double damning. Maybe next post 🙂

But if you live in a vacuum of thought, relying upon your echo to permeate your belief to the point of religiosity, this is what you get.

This off-year vote validated the concept that how ever transitory the American psyche is, it will rise from time to time to remind those that live in a bubble that it can be popped.

What I find, anecdotally, is that “white saviors” suffer an inability to overcome their deep-seated racism, and this truly bothers them. They are most often infected with the type of racism known as “soft bigotry of low expectations”, and again, this bothers them, greatly.

They try to overcome this dissonance by throwing themselves at the extreme, so as to arrest any confusion within, and any efface suspicions percolating in those witnessing. The great act.

The plight of blacks in America is documented in “The Bell Curve” by Herrnstein and Murray 1994, 845 pages. They illustrate correlation and causation with unequal intellectual ability among races. Talk about an unpopular topic. Their book was damn near banned from public distribution. However, time has validated their conclusions and predictions for America’s future.

      • Anthea November 5, 2021 at 12:18 pm #

Yes, the average low IQ (either 80 or 85, depending on the source) of American blacks is the unacknowledged underlying cause of black inequality. (Up until 1973, an IQ of 80 or less was the baseline for being considered mentally retarded. Meaning that about half of American blacks are mentally retarded.) This doesn’t necessarily make them bad people. They can be quite good people. The main thing that pisses people off are CRT and demands by blacks for equality of outcome.

Then you have the Dunning-Kruger effect: stupid people are too stupid to know they’re stupid. The public school system encourages this through grade inflation, so that they think they’ve achieved mastery of reading, writing, and arithmetic, even if they are functionally illeterate and innumerate. People have achieved even a modest degree of mastery of these skills appear to them to be sinister-intelligent oppressors for trying to impose standards–which is something they should be angry about.

What’s really needed are jobs that offer dignity and security for people who have below-average intelligence–and for such people to get over the idea that society owes them a career as an accountant.

Wasn’t it or isn’t it 70? This is the average IQ of Black Africa. The 85 is because of the substantial increment of White genes into their population.

It does make them bad or at least undeveloped people. See the seminal (you can say ovular) work of Laurence Kohlberg, Loveinger, et al anent the positive correlation between IQ and moral development.

But yes, IQ is necessary but not sufficient. There are other factors. The mad scientist type is all too real.

          • rundmc November 7, 2021 at 7:05 pm #

Jarek: Umm – how do you know the average IQ of “Black Africa?” Where and when was that assessed? And, what do you consider to be the geography of “Black Africa?”

While on the topic, how do some of you on this thread know the average IQ of any race of people – whether on the African continent or the North American one? Because, there’s been very little actual RCT of this measure across races. (And, don’t quote me Charles Murray on this – his analysis was thrown out as invalid years ago).

I also wonder, as a matter of scientific and social analysis, why you are stuck on one measure (IQ) that is hotly debated in scientific circles as a valid measure of anything, let alone innate intelligence. It’s quite easy to take a measure that one (or a couple) races of people score higher on – on average (although we certainly don’t know the IQ scores generally of all Africans…) – and say – that is THE measure to use to determine ability. It would be akin to using measures of ability in 3 sports – football, basketball and soccer – and using that to determine the ability of white vs black people to succeed in society. Either way is equally invalid.

BTW – as an inveterate consumer of true crime books and tv shows, I can tell you that the average IQ or just plain ole common sense of many white people ain’t so high… even those who aren’t killers.

and for such people to get over the idea that society owes them a career as an accountant. – Anthea

          ===========

As a person who holds a college degree in Accounting, I have to laugh at the above line. It is hard to picture college-age Black youth as desiring “a career as an accountant.” Why? There is no glory in it. Who the hell wants to be a “bean counter?”

Even in football where Blacks shine you will not find one Black punter or long snapper. OK, maybe ONE. Why? Because there is no glory in it. They want to be running backs or receivers so they can score a TD and race up to the cameras to perform their well-practiced inane celebrations.

          Haha, accountant, as if.

No. Blacks are disproportionately represented as running backs, receivers, and defensive backs because of their leg structure and fast twitch muscles. (Jimmy the Greek got fired in the 70s for saying similar — Wokeism isn’t a new infectious ideology.)

Not the case for punters or long-snappers, where Whites excel.

The jobs that used to provide people with economic security are gone, either outsourced or mechanized, but the population has increased.
A black friend of mine drove me to the airport (a long time ago) and we chatted for two hours.
He grew up in this town when it was segregated and he liked the school he attended. He told me that back then the old women would watch the streets and if a child misbehaved his parents would be told immediately and they would be taught to behave.
If a man beat his wife he would be visited by a group of elders from his church and told that he could not continue with that behavior.
Many things have changed since then, not just integration. The jobs are gone, the old folks are probably watching TV instead of the streets, parents today have no idea of proper behavior for children, and the elders of the church are pretty much all that still attend.

        Chopper,
You are correct about the book rating blacks as somewhat lower in IQ than whites. But that was not the reason the book was almost banned in this nation. The book then went on to say that the Chinese are several points higher, in IQ, than white people.
THAT was what caused such a reaction.

        • Jarek November 5, 2021 at 1:26 pm #

Prove it. Academia is controlled by Liberals who are very uncomfortable with the model minority – as the East Asians are called. They should be dumb like the Blacks but they ain’t. But the Blacks were and are their main focus. Their usual defense to throw the whole idea of IQ out the window at least at this late date.

        • chopper November 5, 2021 at 6:24 pm #

Yes they did document the superior average intellectual ability of Asians, now outperforming Caucasians in our universities – a prediction made in their book. However, Asians and whites were not a protected class at that time. The furor came from the same type of whites JHK identifies as (aka Liberals) in this blog.

        • hilton33 November 6, 2021 at 11:03 am #

If that’s the case, why are we lowering the standards for blacks only. Does it hurt or help them? Can’t do simple math, can’t read or write, can’t be on time, all racist. My daughter wants to be a astrophysicist, and professor. She’s not capable of that because she has down’s syndrome. I think they should lower the standards because she would be the first female astrophysicist, and professor. Sounds stupid dosen’t it. Or, does it.

      • Amman November 5, 2021 at 3:41 pm #

It is stupid in itself to defame the IQ of a race of people and far worse when it is also false and malicious. Time has not validated the ‘writings’ of those 2 idiot-savants in the slightest. • Jarek November 5, 2021 at 4:35 pm #

They have received much hate, but no has been able to disprove their work. They were hardly the only or the first either. It is the simple Truth.

White Supremacism? Hardly. The same research finds the East Asians and Ashkenazi are smarter than us.

          • Alzaebo November 5, 2021 at 8:16 pm #

Not so, my liege. Ashkenazim have higher verbal I.Q., as they have made themselves the finest storytellers in the world. Their 3-D visuospatial IQ is a bit below that of the Caucasian on average. They are not builders, but nomads.

East Asian IQ rates highly in visuospatial, yet lower in verbal, than Caucasian averages. They are molded by ideograms.

Even so, their social proclivities overcame, again and again, their engineers- until Europeans gifted them with our kind of knowledge, even that gleaned from and unused by them. The average Chinese lived in rice-paddy villages with a bicycle economy in the cities.

          • Alzaebo November 5, 2021 at 9:08 pm #

Addendum, my lord Jarek. The IQ crowd misses a most important point. Capacity does not determine function.

Language has two functions, not one.
Because we have two processors, not one, and the use of emotive language, versus neutral information language, depends on which processor is dominant.

The breeder hindbrain’s function is to organize our social groups.
The mechanical forebrain”s function is to model.

The tone of a society, of a demographic, is dtermined by said processors as well as capacity (IQ). Hot scheming mess stuck in place, or the grandchildren of even slaves and prisoners building high civilization in savage wilderness?

O.G. is a fine example of the two processors.
His high capacity and cool calculation succeeded in one environment, but was shattered by the different strategeries of breeder brained women and lawyers. The trauma of his shattered world has left him veering between the two processors in cognitive dissonance, torn between emotion and observation.

But they are good at math and the sciences. As are the Asians. One is non-visual but verbal, the other verbal but non-visual. Thoughts? Perhaps they excel at theory and the Asians at application?

    Greetings,

I live along the Ohio river near two coal fired power plants that provide electricity to Pittsburgh and our local area. Normally, those plants are surrounded by literal mountains of coal but that isn’t true at the moment. I’ve noticed that the supplies of coal are dwindling and yesterday, as I was driving past the plants on my way to pick up a wood-burning stove, I notice that the coal was almost all gone.

You can not tell truck drivers, coal miners, barge captains, power plant workers, etc to mask up indefinitely and to inject themselves with poison and expect to have electricity. You especially can not do such things in Amish country where all of us can see with our own eyes that the Amish are doing just fine without masks, social distancing, and vaccines.

I’ve stated many times that I have doubts as to whether Brandon was gonna run things into the ground such that they’d be unable to keep the lights on and it looks like I was correct.

Get ready for a dark winter.

    • Ron Anselmo November 5, 2021 at 10:18 am #

Thanks Nickel – local recon always provides invaluable truth.

    • MrMangoOnMyShoulder November 5, 2021 at 10:24 am #

All that coal is probably being shipped off for storage in an endless warehouse, like at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark…

      • bluedog November 5, 2021 at 10:40 am #

The Lay-Off list state’s that the entire coal production for 2022 is already sold-out, going to both domestic and foreign buyers, strange they say it’s 15 dollars at the mine per ton, but locally it’s $305 a ton, so you can bet your ass green or not they aren’t going to let something as profitable as that go down the drain.

        • NickelthroweR November 5, 2021 at 10:56 am #

The area around me is the least jabbed in the country. Again, you can’t pretend the Amish do not exist because you see them every day and they NEVER wore masks even when they came into town to get something from the “English”.

There is a bridge near one of the power plants that connect W. Virginia to Ohio. There, the local hospital has a billboard that tells you the current “wait time” for the emergency room and emergency services. The billboard was put up at the start of the pandemic and remained up for about a year. Funny thing was, the wait time never exceeded 5 minutes except one time on a busy weekend when the wait time jumped up to 15 minutes.

My thinking is that someone in marketing actually believed the hype about the plandemic and thought that as wait times soared, they’d be able to scare the public into coming into the hospital that much quicker.

Coming from California where the wait time in an ER can be 14 hours or longer, I thought their silly stunt hysterical but it was a constant reminder to everyone that the virus was and is a hoax.

If you now demand vaccine passports then Cleveland, Akron and Pittsburgh will soon be without electricity. That is a fact.

The problem over and over is that the anti FF folks, especially coal,

Until a legitimate alternative is presented, no change, coal and oil will still be mined and drilled at increasing rates, because there is no choice.

            One comment on Covid.

Right now, the scourge seems to have leveled off. It is becoming the flu or a cold. New antivirals are being tested now that may attack this virus before it has a chance to propagate much in situ. This makes it so you can push back on the crud after it hits. This needs to be tested!! mRNA is too dangerous for certain age groups and needs to be relegated to emergency use only.

For a few weeks or months during late summer, propane was unobtanium. My daughter was trying to get her tank filled for winter, and there simply was no propane. The propane companies told her that domestic propane supplies were being sold to overseas markets, so that there was none for the domestic market.

She was finally able to get her tank filled, and pay in advance in case she needed a winter re-fill, but the price was high.

What Jo Jo Magoo’s handlers want is chaos. They want the real world consequences for their increasingly insane actions.

I am not sure why this isn’t clear to people. They aren’t incompetent, they really want to destroy this country so they can rebuild it within their new transhumanistic confines.

I don’t think they will succeed, but how much damage can they do in the meantime?

        • Anthea November 5, 2021 at 2:52 pm #

I was just discussing this with my daughter. I haven’t seen huge inflation in the cost of food. Since I normally don’t buy anything but food, clothes from the thrift store, and supplies needed for a little hobby retirement business, I haven’t felt inflations that much–except at the gas station. Since I am in the process of moving, I’ve been buying a few home furnishings, but since I never bought stuff like this before, I don’t know if it’s gone up or not.

But my daughter ticked off a list of items that have roughly doubled in price: heating fuel, housing, construction materials, construction labor, car parts, and medical care. She is the resident car mechanic, and she and her husband just finished rehabing a 100-year-old farmhouse. Health insurance is costing them a fortune, even though they get almost all their medical care from practitioners who are not covered by their insurance, and when they can use it, the deductable is some insane amount that they never reach.

She told me that she is frightened.

I’ve thought some about how to escape from this tightening noose and, frankly, the only solution I see is to choose a lifestyle along Amish lines in a like-minded community. As my daughter put it, the “English” way of life sucks all the blood out of you. And you know what? They’re prosperous and I’m not.

          • Paula D November 5, 2021 at 3:35 pm #

Health insurance got nuts since the late 90s. In 2005 I cancelled mine, since it was taking 1/3 of my income.
Then they put in Obama, who mandated health insurance, (a foreshadowing of this year’s vaccine mandates).
I still refused to get it until 2013 when my husband got a job that had cheaper insurance.
During those 9 years, I had pneumonia and an ankle injury, and my husband broke his ankle and all of that was far cheaper than the insurance.
But people who didn’t want to pay a penalty for not being able to afford insurance, so they voted for Trump?
            Racist.

I heard a quote on a Peterson site by a preacher named Vanderclay,” if you don’t think the resurrection is believable, start hanging out with people that do and see what you think in a group.” Or something like that. It makes sense to scale life to fit the situation one is living with.
Take climate believers, I lived in Alaska for 6 winters after being in Maui for 6 years and the weather doesn’t “suit your clothes”

God makes the weather what one has (according to native Alaskans) is poor clothing options. God gave us a brain to use, but some folks don’t recognize that idea.
This life style of modernization is quite dependent of heat of some kind and refrigeration. The big equalizers.
Like James points out in WMBH and his other great books, it ain’t gonna be fun but we can do this. Adapt and get along.

I have been convinced for several months now that this is precisely their strategy.

Now that they have been shellacked in recent elections the Wokester panic will escalate and their desperation to provoke a bona fide “insurrection” will rapidly intensify. The clock is ticking and they know it. Newt Gingrich believes the Dems could lose anywhere from 40 to 70 seats in the House in a November of 2022. I suspect he knows what he is talking about. Newt also predicts a gain of about 4 seats in the Senate. So, by January of 2023 the window of opportunity to declare martial law and sic the Wokester military on us will have closed. They have 14 months to try to seize power and overthrow constitutional government. This is now the period of maximum peril for Patriots.

But make no mistake…..they are now on the defensive and in retreat. The elections last week were the Pickett’s Charge of the Wokester Revolution. These subversives remain dangerous, but are now in retreat.

      • King of Comedy November 5, 2021 at 11:40 am #

I disagree on the competence angle.

Biden himself is a classic example. Even prior to the state he’s in now where a full Depends marks the high point of his day, Biden was a plagiarizing, gaffe-plagued moron who ran a 40-year grift doing the only “job” he probably was qualified for: the self-referential theater of the US Senate. In that nonsensical context, there are some who at least have attempted to author consequential legislation (whatever that may mean) but Biden doesn’t even meet that low standard. He’s a cipher.

And that cipher is surrounded by every cast-off from the Island of Misfit Toys: the ridiculous she-male admiral, a Secretary of Transportation whose area of expertise is probably in the field of personal lubricants, every race-grievance junkie and gender-fluidity addict, all focussed on their own pathologies to the virtual exclusion of everything else. It’s actually a perfect storm of incompetence.

The idea that there is always some mastermind in charge is not well-supported by the historical record. Hunter Thompson’s words, spoken not in the context of politics, but still imo relevant, come to mind:

“What Leary took down with him was the central illusion of a whole life-style that he helped create… a generation of permanent cripples, failed seekers, who never understood the essential old-mystic fallacy of the Acid Culture: the desperate assumption that somebody… or at least some force – is tending the light at the end of the tunnel.”

        • MaryMaryFullOfPride November 5, 2021 at 11:46 am #

Those you refer to are just puppets though, being used for the theater that distracts the masses. Behind it is an intelligence apparatus that is well-oiled and knows exactly what it’s doing, and has been planning all of this for decades.

But even so, people make mistakes, miss things, and there are no doubt warring factions within the massive apparatus, so those create opportunities for us to fight back.

We just have to be aware and watchful for the cracks in the facade.

          • King of Comedy November 5, 2021 at 11:58 am #

            I don’t see it.

The “intelligence apparatus” has historically been way more Keystone Cops than Tom Clancy.

Occam’s Razor. The much more likely explanation is that no one is really in charge or maybe a better way of putting it:

Biden is president of a country that no longer exists.

          • rainmaker November 5, 2021 at 12:43 pm #

Good stuff, King. The take on Leary Generation is apt, their failure to account for evil (just basic human selfishness) doomed the flower children but still informs many who push for carbon limits for US but give China and India a pass.

The observation about Biden presiding over a nonexistent nation is almost an epiphany.

From Hofstadter’s The Paranoid Style In American Politics:

“Here is Senator McCarthy, speaking in June 1951 about the parlous situation of the United States:

How can we account for our present situation unless we believe that men high in this government are concerting to deliver us to disaster? This must be the product of a great conspiracy on a scale so immense as to dwarf any previous such venture in the history of man. A conspiracy of infamy so black that, which it is finally exposed, its principals shall be forever deserving of the maledictions of all honest men. . . . What can be made of this unbroken series of decisions and acts contributing to the strategy of defeat? They cannot be attributed to incompetence. . . . The laws of probability would dictate that part of . . . [the] decisions would serve the country’s interest.

Now turn back fifty years to a manifesto signed in 1895 by a number of leaders of the Populist party:

As early as 1865–66 a conspiracy was entered into between the gold gamblers of Europe and America. . . . For nearly thirty years these conspirators have kept the people quarreling over less important matters while they have pursued with unrelenting zeal their one central purpose. . . . Every device of treachery, every resource of statecraft, and every artifice known to the secret cabals of the international gold ring are being used to deal a blow to the prosperity of the people and the financial and commercial independence of the country.

Next, a Texas newspaper article of 1855:

. . . It is a notorious fact that the Monarchs of Europe and the Pope of Rome are at this very moment plotting our destruction and threatening the extinction of our political, civil, and religious institutions. We have the best reasons for believing that corruption has found its way into our Executive Chamber, and that our Executive head is tainted with the infectious venom of Catholicism. . . . The Pope has recently sent his ambassador of state to this country on a secret commission, the effect of which is an extraordinary boldness of the Catholic church throughout the United States. . . . These minions of the Pope are boldly insulting our Senators; reprimanding our Statesmen; propagating the adulterous union of Church and State; abusing with foul calumny all governments but Catholic, and spewing out the bitterest execrations on all Protestantism. The Catholics in the United States receive from abroad more than $200,000 annually for the propagation of their creed. Add to this the vast revenues collected here. . . .”

            Sounds remarkably familiar…

I don’t doubt there is intent on the part of those in power, not just now but all throughout history, but intent and what can actually be pulled off are not quite the same thing.

            King, with all due respect,

The facade of separate countries is coming to an end.

Republican & Democrat = 2 heads of the same hydra.

It’s all for show. The show has been going on for decades, and people still fall for it.

When a republican wins, what changes? When a democrat wins, what changes? Nothing. We still move toward the same trajectory – the Great Reset.

It’s been in the works for decades. They have made sure to distract us really well so we don’t see it, but those that knew about it 30-40-50 years ago have been warning us and they have been proven correct.

          • King of Comedy November 7, 2021 at 12:14 pm #

Hofstadter lays out several examples spaced a half a century apart with the same exact idea: a cabal conspiring to bring the country down or reorient the world. There are many other examples, not just in this country, of the “unknown superiors” meme. These to me are a close cousin of the end of the world meme promulgated by numerous cults throughout history and it always comes down to this simple (and curiously effective) sales pitch: while every other prediction may have been wrong, this time it’s for real. The “Great Reset” strikes me as yet another in an ongoing series.

On top of that, the notion of a global entity running the world goes entirely counter to the central theme of this blog: that large organizations are on borrowed time, anomalies as they are created by cheap and plentiful energy supplies that are no longer cheap or plentiful. Small and local will be the theme of the 21st century and that century will much more likely feature the horse and buggy than the flying car.

As far as population goes, 7 billion souls and counting are not a long-term option on the planet. A cursory study of evolution and population biology demonstrates that populations in nature are regulated by three things: disease, food supply, and predation. The first two will largely determine where exactly the human head-count winds up as this century progresses but it most assuredly will be considerably lower. And while it’s pretty clear that this pandemic is the result of assholes playing god, nature itself is quite adept at throwing up population killers at fairly regular intervals.

I just think we’ll have to agree to disagree on this one. Two different world-views.

      • Uncle Bob November 5, 2021 at 6:06 pm #

John Kerry allegedly told the World Economic Forum last year that Bumblefuck Biden is on board with their plan to remake the world in their fascist image, including the a”Build Back Better”slogan and hyping shots and government control over everything. Klaus Schwab and Co. apparently like what they heard — and so it was that China Joe ended up in the White House (or a set in Delaware designed to look like the White House). And he, Kerry, and others pledged this week to achieve the WEF’s goals via the Federal regulatory state, regardless what We the People want, say, or vote.

I certainly don’t envy them their eventual appearance before YHWH to explain their actions. We’re all sinners, but to go out of your way to fuck over humanity when you know what you’re doing is evil according to your religion is stupid and begs for eternal punishment. But considering we’ve been told by lefties for decades that there’s no such thing as objective truth (unless it serves their purposes, of course), it makes sense that these dolts would buy their own bullshit, plunging the world into chaos and unspeakable horror, and setting themselves up for damnation.

Again, all because people disliked “mean” tweets by one of the few actual adults in American government. Thanks a lot.

    • Perimetr November 5, 2021 at 12:05 pm #

I tend to take a darker view of recent events and concur with a summary (copied below) provided by Mike Yeadon, the former head of Pfizer respiratory division. The masters of the universe are implementing their plans for global control and are well on the way to succeeding.

      see https://www.australiannationalreview.com/health/mike-yeadon-ex-pfizer-scientist-sent-this-out-on-thursday-we-are-approaching-stage-5/

Yeadon says we are entering Phase 5 of their plan:

Phase 1: Simulate a threat and create fear. (December 2019-March 2020)

      Mount a plandemic

      – Kill tens of thousands of elderly people.
      – Increase the number of cases and deaths
      – Position vaccination as the only solution from the beginning.
      – Focus all attention on Covid-19.
      Result, (almost) general panic

Phase 2: Sow the tares and division. (March 2020-December 2020)

      – Impose multiple unnecessary, liberticidal and unconstitutional coercive measures.
      – Paralyze trade and the economy.
      – Observe the submission of a majority and the resistance of a rebellious minority.
      – Stigmatize the rebels and create a horizontal division.
      – Censoring dissident leaders.
      – Punish disobedience.
      – Generalize PCR tests.
      – Create confusion between cases, infected, sick, hospitalized and dead.
      – Disqualify all effective treatments.
      – Hope for a rescue vaccine.

      Result, (almost) general panic.

Phase 3: Bring a treacherous and deadly solution. (December 2020-June 2021)

      – Offer a free vaccine for everyone.
      – Promise protection and return to normality.
      – Establish a herd immunization target.
      – Simulate a partial recovery of the economy.
      – Hide statistics of side effects and deaths from injections.
      – Passing off the side effects of the injections as “natural” effects of the virus and the disease.
      – Recover the notion of a variant as a natural mutation of the virus.
      – Justify the maintenance of coercive measures by not applying the herd immunity threshold.
      – Punish health professionals for the illegal exercise of care and healing.

Result, doubts and feelings of betrayal among the vaxx, discouragement among opponents.

Phase 4: Install Apartheid and the QR code. (June 2021-October 2021)

      – Voluntarily plan for shortages.
      – Impose the vaccination pass (QR code) to reward the vaccinated, punish the resistant.
      – Create an Apartheid of the privileged against the others.
      – Take away the right to work or study from non-vaxx.
      – Withdraw basic services to the non-vaxx.
      – Impose PCR payment tests on non-vaxx.

Result, First stage of digital control, impoverishment of opponents

Phase 5: Establish chaos and Martial law. (November 2021-March 2022)

      – Exploit the shortage of goods and food.
      – Cause the paralysis of the real economy and the closure of factories and shops.
      – Let unemployment explode.
      – Apply a third dose to the vaxx (boosters).
      – Take up the murder of the living old men.
      – Impose compulsory vaccination for all.
      – Amplify the myth of variants, the efficacy of the vaccine and the immunity of the herd.
      – Demonize the anti-vaxx and hold them responsible for the dead.
      – Arrest opposition leaders.
      – Impose digital identity on everyone (QR code): Birth certificate, identity document, passport, driving license, health insurance card …
      – Establish martial law to defeat the opposition.

Result, Second stage of digital control. Imprisonment or removal of opponents.

Phase 6: Cancel the debts and dematerialize the money. (March 2022-September 2022)

      – Trigger the economic, financial and stock market collapse, the bankruptcy of the banks.
      – To rescue the losses of the banks in the accounts of their clients.
      – Activate the «Great Reset».
      – De-materialize money.
      – Cancel debts and loans.
      – Impose the digital portfolio. (Digital Wallet)
      – Seize properties and land.
      – Ban all global medicines.
      – Confirm the obligation to vaccinate semi-annually or annually.
      – Impose food rationing and a diet based on the Codex Alimentarius.
      – Extend the measures to emerging countries.

Result, Third stage of digital control. Extension of the N.O.M. to the whole planet.

I don’t entirely disagree with your contentions.

It is true that our Woke overlords don’t seem to realize our human resources are also declining in quality and quantity.

This is unsurprising to any intelligent observer since our schools and universities are nothing more than Woke indoctrination camps.

The global, cradle-to-grave surveillance and control grid the overlords desire would require far more technical talent than we’ve got now, or will have in five years.

I expect this will also put a crimp in their plans.

Well, I respect Yeadon, but if that’s their plan, it’s already failing. There are whole swathes of the world that are not playing: Russia, China, India, most of Africa, and many smaller nations like Sweden, Denmark, Rumania, etc. Their overweening arrogance and our resistance will stop them. It will be nasty, messy and disturbingly kinetic, but we will win.

        • MrMangoOnMyShoulder November 5, 2021 at 9:35 pm #

True. But if they pull down communications (at least for the Western countries that are participating), then as far as most citizens in those countries (including us) will know is that Oceania, Eurasia and Eastasia are perpetually at war with each other, to borrow from Blair.

And we will only know what we are being told. Kind of hard to get to Russia or Romania to get the real news at the point.

    Good morning.

There has been talk that the vaccine mandate will not be shot down in the courts, because it is actually a “testing and masking mandate”.

If that were so, and it is not, it would still have to meet the same tests any other OSHA regulation has to meet, to make it legal.

The Market Ticker guy has listed those tests:
    https://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=244137

That’s not to say some judge somewhere won’t ignore all this.

      • MrMangoOnMyShoulder November 5, 2021 at 10:32 am #

I would imagine they will roll on without the testing, and just push vaccine mandates harder.

Anyone presenting one or more symptoms (cough, headache, nausea, aches, fever, etc) will be publicly assumed to have covid, unless vaccinated…and subsequently quarantined.

If vaccinated, it’s just a bit of a cold, carry on.

If unvaccinated, away with thee, and no pay until after your 14-day home isolation.

Bonus points if they can achieve this via a self-policing workforce populace.

Just spitballing, but that’s what I’d do if I was a tyrannical crank.

Tickerforum.org is GREAT site. I’ve been following the guy since roughly 2005. Karl is a GREAT educator. Besides objective facts and excellent analysis, the site is good for shapening your analytic skills. A lot of people literally don’t know HOW to think rationally. Long exposure to rational thinking is medicinal for such folk.

Karl is, let us say, “temperamental,” and I personally think he could use a good editor. But some of this supposed “temperament” is probably stone-cold policy. A large contingent of readers of such sites go there for the endocrine high. You could call them “anger junkies.” Giving them their fix will keep them coming back for more.

“DOL and OSHA, as well as other federal agencies, are working diligently to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations. OSHA does not wish to have any appearance of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination, and also does not wish to disincentivize employers’ vaccination efforts. As a result, OSHA will not enforce 29 CFR 1904’s recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination at least through May 2022. We will reevaluate the agency’s position at that time to determine the best course of action moving forward.”

Yes, I saw that earlier. I’m sure they will reevaluate their position, but they already ‘know’ the best way forward. Get the jab! I feel the insanity watching this from abroad. Not sure when I will be back to the states to see family. I have a 2 year old grand-daughter I’ve never held yet. But there is no way I would go back to the US right. I am afraid I would somehow get stuck there.

OSHA has the “option” of which laws to enforce? Where do they get that from? The last I looked, the executive branch must enforce the laws passed by the legislative branch. Do we the people have the option of which laws we will follow? Of course not. This is a good time to write to our congressmen.

        • Ron Anselmo November 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm #

Bill – please save the time in writing your congressman.

Send me $100, and I’ll take the time to do it for you. If he/she replies in earnest and straightens it out, I’ll send the $100 back to you.

Problem solved and it cost you nothing.

They will give you a courteous non-answer. But it they are flooded with similar correspondence, who knows, it might help.

            It can’t hurt.

Speaking of cohorts of African-Americans, I can remember a time when we were told that if you didn’t pay attention and work hard in school, you might end up as a ditch digger.

White boys as well as black boys heard this same message. That’s what vocational training was for, prevention of ditch digging being one’s only occupational path.

Illegal immigration even interfered with this last resort, they took all the ditch digging jobs.

Then there was the massive legal, chain immigration.

Now immigrants were competing head to head with Americans for the relatively unskilled. low wage work.

Meanwhile, those who were told work hard, stay in school. etc. found their high school degree increasingly worthless.

Then those that did educate themselves to their fullest capacity were finding that employers were hiring foreigners over American.

    Many jobs went overseas.

People who did everything ‘right’ were facing economic challenges they never expected to face, and the MSM and even our elected leaders were telling them it was their own fault.

    • thirdcoastlegend November 5, 2021 at 10:44 am #

Illegal immigration also interfered with part-time jobs in retail and food service that were originally a conduit to introduce young people to the working world and for a smaller number of older, retired folks to earn extra income.

      • Beryl of Oyl November 5, 2021 at 10:53 am #

War on Drugs, think of all the employers who demanded drug testing for even the most loser-ish work.

        Nobody tests illegals.

BTW, something I’ve wondered about for some time- at about the same time decent-paying jobs were drying up, crack was actually advertised on the evening news as the hot new drug.

Seriously. It was talked about in the national media before it was even a thing locally.

        • thirdcoastlegend November 5, 2021 at 11:04 am #

The failure to test illegals is a planned feature, not a bug.

This is because the plan is to degrade and destroy the middle class lifestyle of US citizens to a level resembling that of the illegals.

There is no intent to raise up the illegals, ever.

          • JohnAZ November 5, 2021 at 11:21 am #

        • Alzaebo November 5, 2021 at 5:23 pm #

Side note cuz it’s a pet peeve:

Drug testing, especially since it allows 100x the amount of hard drugs (300 nanograms) versus dangerously dangerous danger marijuana (3 nanograms), allowed chain-smoking, alcoholic, gambling addict, high-function psychopath and HW Bush crony, Republican Bill Bennett to cut off 40% of insurance payments of hospital claims.

Lack of payment- thanks for the premiums, workers, but now you have test first- bankrupted enough local and regional not-for-profit hospitals and clinics that HCA Columbia could buy them for pennies to create the world’s largest corporate hospital chain.

Before, we had doctors practicing medicine.
          Now, we have corporate treatment.

Addendum: and, along with putting his co-conspirator in this scheme in jail (for Medicare fraud, HA!), Billy B also earned seven figures as the Drug Czar of two government agencies, ONDCP and PFADFA.

He and Pappy, both Company mafiosi, had seized control of the drug trade that they had organized and expanded- both the licit and illicit sides of the profit stream.

            *****
(Pappy, Naval Intelligence, and Ollie North created the systemic cocaine Cartel in Columbia and Peru, and funded various paramilitaries such as the Hondurans butchering Guatemalen villages or the Tri-borders region corner of Paraguay-Uruguay-Brazil.

Pappy got rid of his transit cop, Noriega, so that he and his old oil pal from the Texas Railroad Commision days, Presidente Salinas, could move the money laundering to the banks of Mexico City.

In this period, Pappy also resurrected the mujahidden to wrest control of the Afghan opium- the alll important global source of essential painkillers- from Russia’s control of the pipeline. Islam was almost entirely dead, a relic, until Pappy gifted us with jihad.

An interesting side note is the complementary rise of the concrete mafias in So.Am- just as State Sec. Hillary used French consortium concrete plants to employ ISIS fighters in the off season during her Arab Spring. She was repeating the Balkan Spring strategy she and Wesley Clark used, reinforcing Albanian KLA gangsters with Afghan mujahid to grab the heroin, oil, and uranium pipelines to the EU.

Drug turf wars. Foreign operations are resource and route wars conducted by Intelligence Companies, a replay of the 400-year spice and drug trade wars conducted by the naval Crown Companies such as the East India Companies, aka privateers. Said Companies were owned, as ever, by the banking Families that made war loans to the crowns.)

Forgive, please, the long note. I could go on for a long time about our world gangster system, and got a bit carried away.

          • 100th Avatar November 5, 2021 at 12:08 pm #

            @ Mary

No, CRT serves multiple other purposes.

One of the primary purposes is to prepare white middle-class for their diminishment in class (socioeconomic) strata.

The reset requires a great reduction in the middle-class lifestyle, particularly expectations of what constitutes a middle-class lifestyle.

Once white people assimilate, the false narrative, that they are being denied access or ability or a lifestyle on account of who they are, but, at least for the assumed benefit of the historically repressed, the less likely they are to reject it.

Meanwhile, the elites will continue to enjoy a high QOL within the future framework/reality of severely limited resources/luxuries (limited for thee, not for me).

          • 100th Avatar November 5, 2021 at 12:11 pm #

In other words, white middle class will be meeting blacks on a diminishment in lifestyle expectations, rather than blacks gaining.

The 1% way of life is not negotiable.

    • SW November 5, 2021 at 11:09 am #

But there are blacks who do plainly see what the problem is but are given no airtime. It’s only nutters like Joy Reid (who was forgiven for making rude comments about gays) who have their face in front of a camera. And who champion extreme measure like this for anyone who makes an unguarded observation:

“Poor Sandy Sellers. The adjunct professor of mediation and negotiation at Georgetown University Law Center found herself in a jam that even she wasn’t able to negotiate her way out of.

Momentarily forgetting that she’s a white person in 2021 America, Sellers told the truth. Specifically, she told the truth about the poor academic performance of her black students.

She might as well have waved a Confederate flag while attending an antebellum-themed cotillion.

“You know what? I hate to say this, I end up having this angst every semester, that a lot of my lower ones are blacks,” Sellers said in a Zoom chat with her Georgetown colleague Professor David Batson. “It happens almost every semester, and it’s like, oh, come on. You know, we get some really good ones, but there are also usually some of them that are just plain at the bottom. It drives me crazy.”

Well, you can’t do that anymore. Where did she think she was, Nazi Germany?

When news of the Zoom call got out, Sellers was immediately terminated. In a series of press releases (because one is not nearly enough to address this genocidal atrocity), the university condemned her words as “reprehensible,” “hurtful,” “harmful,” and “racist.”

Not “wrong,” though. For some odd reason the university didn’t say the statements were wrong. Or inaccurate. Or any other synonym for wrong.

The “law school” also suspended Professor Batson indefinitely for the crime of hearing the statements. Yes, it’s now a fireable offense to merely hear someone speak the truth about black academic performance. The university failed to say whether it thinks Batson should’ve stabbed his eardrums after hearing Sellers’ remarks, or whether he should’ve socked the webcam Popeye-style hoping the punch would travel through the ether and knock the racist vermin out cold.

The Georgetown Black Law Students Association called on the university to retroactively change the grades of all of Sellers’ previous black students, declaring that “These racist statements reveal not only Sellers’ beliefs about Black students in her classes, but also how her racist thoughts have translated to racist actions. Professor Sellers’ bias has impacted the grades of Black students in her classes historically, in her own words.”

You can’t make this stuff up.

I am seeing a movement, not an official one, but it’s there. Black dads show up in force, when they can, to their children’s schools and related events.

They know what the country thinks of them, and they are determined to fight that stereotype.

BTW nobody ever talks about how the part-time, temp work economy affects parental involvement in their children’s education. If you don’t know from one week or less to the next, what hours you will have to work, it is hard to schedule that parent-teacher conference.

        • hmuller November 5, 2021 at 12:05 pm #

      • SW November 5, 2021 at 12:04 pm #

No that isn’t shocking and as far as being “instantly judged, instantly assigned a heap of presumptions” — that’s a knife that cuts both ways. I’ve worked with black nurses whose respect I had to gain just as they had to gain mine. That’s a level playing field (or the start of one) that MLK recognized decades ago. Who you are as a person trumps every other criteria.

And that’s why a man like George Floyd is (to me) reprehensible. He preyed on his own community, fathered children he never supported and participated in a drug culture that has wreaked havoc on his race.

Fantastic offering today, James. Thanks for the overview of CRT and why it is ridiculous tripe. I’m guessing the back-lash from it will set race relations back rather than move them forward. But that was always its purpose, cleverly hidden as it is.

At the college I just left, the obsession with CRT was just hitting its nadir when I chose to exit. If people really understood what a cult this is, they would want it out of these institutions immediately. Well, rational people.

One professor who headed the academic senate would appear on all zoom meetings with a huge Black Lives Matter background and others wore BLM t-shirts or hats. These were mostly white professors. There were crying jags by whites who “finally understand” their privilege and oaths to be subservient to blacks going forward. Rituals galore! At one indoctrination session, the black woman running it told us flatly that we should have more black people in our inner circles, not at school but in general. So yeah they want to control our lives outside of our job as well as on the job.

This b.s. was enough to scare me out of working in education ever again. But now that I am job searching, I see that most businesses have picked up the lingo and the bullshit and have ‘statements’ on their websites promising their dedication to inclusion, etc. I’m guessing for most it’s just some box they have to now check in order to be free from attack by the WJPs. Still, not a good sign.

I am glad that Virginia gave a strong message to schools who peddle this and the trans agenda bullshit.

Anyone remember #MeToo? Where the woman is to be believed? Well, that was thrown overboard when the attempted smear was the same as the defense for no less a predator than Harvey Weinstein — they had sex before so it couldn’t be rape.

“Putting some blame on the girl and suggesting that transgenderism isn’t really part of what happened is Goldberg’s way of reframing the story to minimize the quotient of left-wing politics that has come into sharp focus for many Virginia voters. The trouble is that the school authorities and the school board plainly did act on left-wing dogma when they sought to hide what happened and then lied about their cover-up. Behind their actions was their determination to protect and advance the idea that “transgenderism” is a positive option for the students in their charge.”

The fact is just b/c a person has on a dress and make-up doesn’t make him a female. People have been bullied into silence from stating this obvious fact and it took the rape of two teenage girls to finally expose it as folly.

If your trying to sell something its has to have some value. I really believe most folks don’t care about any of this stupid stuff. We just put up with it. Not anymore. At least where I reside. We don’t participate in any bs. We cut out friends, family members and casual gatherings because of this stupid stuff. A study shows a possibility that getting the vaccine may be harmful:

“It is of particular note that A1c did not return to baseline over 90 days post jab. In fact, it remained elevated with some formerly-healthy people now being in the “pre-diabetic” category. This cannot be understated in terms of what it means: Diabetes is arguably the most-serious morbid condition you can contract. To take a person with a healthy A1c level and turn them into a pre-diabetic by telling them to take the jab is criminally insane.”

    http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=244131

This is by no means proof. It’s just that we are supposed to get answers to these kinds of questions before we vaccinate people.

Hello from The Commonwealth of Virginia. I was yacking at the gym today with a bright and articulate friend who opined as to “how Terry McAwful actually got 44% of the vote”…? We all view it as a major step in the right direction but a long road to hoe. On another note-Brandon, I mean Biden is just soldiering on, like the Terminator. Whatever the disaster de Jour presents itself, he seems unaffected. F-up here, F-up there….No impact. Hey, let’s vaccinate 5 year olds (and his cabal know what is really going on). There is the weirdest sense that the whole thing is contrived to destroy the USA or what lingers of it’s past. They have destroyed health by high fructose and glyphosate laden processed calories. Testosterone and sperm production as has collapsed as has Vit D levels in blood. Collectively, with immune function even more compromised w vaxes, it’s going to be a noxious winter. An ICU nurse told me she treated a 32 year old for a heart attack and that their ICU is already slammed, younger variety than usual.

Western Australia has full hospitals, and they don’t have covid.

The hospitals in Australia are being overrun. Not from Covid. And no one can explain why.

The friend of the family who got vaccinated and then was hospitalized with the coof, mentioned beds lining the corridors, but I assumed it was because of NY’s nutty governor and her evil edicts causing low staffing levels.

About that “gain-of-function” thing: Readers might be interested that the NIH recently removed that terminology from their website so they can no longer be accused of doing GOF. That’s a neat trick; just call it something else and the issue goes away.

Original version of NIH web page: https://web.archive.org/web/20210825002512/https://www.nih.gov/news-events/gain-function-research-involving-potential-pandemic-pathogens

Revised version of NIH web page: https://www.nih.gov/news-events/research-involving-potential-pandemic-pathogens

My state, America’s most-vaxxed, set yet another daily case record yesterday, and we’re not even into deep winter yet. The number of unvaccinated people here continues to drop. The number of vaccinated continues to increase. The cases and fatalities also continue to increase. An obvious question: Should increasing cases and deaths be blamed on the group that is shrinking in size, or on the group that is growing? The answer should be obvious, but tell that to the public health “experts.”

    • Beryl of Oyl November 5, 2021 at 11:05 am #

The CDC changed the definition of vaccine just for the death jab to be passed off as a vaccine.

They knew it didn’t meet the definition, so they changed it.

We don’t need the CDC or the NIH.

They are a waste of money at best.

Yes Rulo, and now that boostahs are available, not long until the CDC changes the definition of “fully vaccinated”.

The trap for the vaxxed to get boostahs ad nauseum.

The current double-dosers will now be considered “unvaccinated”, until they get the boostah.

I am of the belief this last ditch effort is to destroy the “control group” in their experiment. The Non-V are the non randomized control & placebo arm of a massive Phase 3 trial. Look at how the sports media is singling out Aaron Rogers, not the fact that dozens of vaxed athletes get CV 19 every week.

And an unwillingness to condemn criminals within their community. I understand that tribes of all races or religions close ranks if they perceive outside threats, but the black community has taken it further with the glorification of black crime. Long before George Floyd, rap lyrics was in-your-face aggression. The real victims are the helpless people trapped in the ghetto.

      • Ishabaka November 5, 2021 at 12:43 pm #

“Victims are the helpless people trapped in the ghetto” – keep infantilizing American Blacks as helpless victims – THAT’S the way to lift them up.

        • SW November 5, 2021 at 2:14 pm #

Some people are trapped there b/c of financial restraints just like there are people living in crappy trailer parks in Texas b/c they can’t scrape together first and last month’s rent, deposit for utilities and all the rest. It’s not infantilizing anyone to point out financial realities.

The small town I live close to is primarily white, 30% Mexican and maybe 2% black. But there’s a lot of poverty and no good jobs to help people escape these trailer parks. It’s nothing to do with race.

        • Jarek November 5, 2021 at 2:31 pm #

Most Blacks support BLM or anything else that will get them gibbs. That’s how it is and how it’s gonna be.

Great article. I wait and look twice a week for these insights. I’d just like to add that two things happened seemingly by design. One was removing the factories from inner cities. That collapsed family income. And second is the ‘rumour’ (cough) that a certain ‘agency’ (I don’t think it was the Boy Scouts) flooded certain neighbourhoods with a certain substance in the 80s. Unemployed depressed dad maybe did some self-medicating and things got way out of hand.

    • MaryMaryFullOfPride November 5, 2021 at 12:07 pm #

Higher education is a disaster. If I had a college-aged child right now, I would find a way around a traditional college education. They are indoctrination centers where students learn nothing but how to be a useless wokie.

And I just quit a college job so I know. I was in administration, and saw how the sausage is made.

There ARE alternatives, and they are cheaper, too. In the end, most employers don’t care where the degree came from, just that you have one.

There are cheap and even free college education options online.

      • BackRowHeckler November 5, 2021 at 1:31 pm #

Good points, Mary. And I think the word is out because college enrollment is flat across the country. Here in Ct I know of at least 1 college and 1 university that are wobbly and could fold any day.

      • Paula D November 5, 2021 at 2:36 pm #

My son dropped out of college in his first semester. I thought he was doomed, but he recently got his third tech job. All three of the companies hired by merit, not education.
My brother-in-law, a long time IBM employee, said that more companies are doing that. IBM hires H1B employees, but companies that really need intelligent and talented people go for the brains instead of the degree.
In my son’s second job, he worked with a dude that had two degrees and $100,000 of student debt. They did the same job and made the same salary, but my son had no student debt to pay. Then they promoted my son and gave him a raise and his friend was stuck with the same pay.
That whole college dropout thing worked out well, as it turns out.

        • Rulo Deschamps November 5, 2021 at 3:34 pm #

Paula, spot on. Back when I still had “jobs” that I had to be “hired” for, nobody hiring took more than a glance at my education or degrees.

“This is an average example of what you will have to do at this job. Do it. The clock is ticking. Good luck.”

Have you read Mumford anent the creation of “time” as per the clock? Mechanical time in other words, not Black Elk’s “I will see you again when the grass is this high.”?

It is utter Tyranny. The reduction of human beings to servants of the Machine. Forget Mumford, watch Metropolis or Charlie Chaplin.

This was my experience for myself as well, but then I hit a wall, and so went back to finish college recently. I wish I hadn’t, in a lot of ways.

I’m glad that worked out well for your son.

          • Rulo Deschamps November 5, 2021 at 4:53 pm #

Thank you, Mary. So far so good. But it’s a long way to become a surgeon. Fingers crossed. I know he’s in it for the right reasons, not for $ and status. To help others.

One of my uncles was a country doctor. A comfortable middle class life, but he’d have been shocked to see those MD’s now, their luxury cars and golf memberships. He would be called in the middle of the night, get in the car, go help a poor farmer, take payment in chickens or corn when no cash was available. An example.

If my son gets there, that would be glory. If he doesn’t make it, I know he’ll still be something useful. His plan B is in the trades, not in useless indoctrination studies.

      • Rulo Deschamps November 5, 2021 at 3:36 pm #

Mary, true that. 90% of degrees are worthless, a waste of time and $, or worse, an indoctrination camp.

  18. mike6972 November 5, 2021 at 11:10 am #

“The actual reasons for why this is so are taboo, namely, liberal deconstruction of American family life, unwillingness to prescribe behavioral norms, and self-sabotaging cultural choices such as the failure to promote the teaching of language skills as a primary task of public education — because ghetto English is more stigmatizing and economically disabling than skin color or any other feature of self-presentation, unless you are a professional comedian. ”

All true of course. However, let’s not forget the elephant in the room: average IQ. Just as the average IQ for whites is below the average IQ for Asians and Ashkenazi Jews, the average IQ for blacks is not only significantly below these groups, it also lower than Hispanics. This need not mean a lifetime of economic failure and welfare dependency, but it is a handicap in a technological society where advanced skills lead to higher incomes. Human beings are not equal in ability. Rewards and life outcomes should reflect this. Those who contribute most (according to unfettered markets) should be rewarded most. Everyone benefits when the most competent are allowed to attain positions of responsibility. This does not preclude compassion and charity to the poor. However, it should be voluntary.

    • Beryl of Oyl November 5, 2021 at 11:44 am #

I have seen far too many very educated and higher IQ people doing INCREDIBLY stupid things throughout this entire scamdemic, not to realize (if I didn’t know already) that the whole concept of IQ needs serious reconsideration.

Dr. Death there, Fauci, is going to score high on such a test. Just look at his record, and listen to the claptrap that comes out of his mouth.

I find it refreshing to talk with people who don’t think they are smart at all.

      • Hereward the Woke November 5, 2021 at 12:44 pm #

Beryl, you may be confusing “intelligent” and “intellectual”. One is clever; the other is stupid.

      • SW November 5, 2021 at 2:24 pm #

I learned a long time ago IQ and intelligence didn’t always “intersect” in the same person. Too many people have high IQs but no judgment or the ability to see anything from another perspective. A friend’s husband is a brilliant engineer but worshiped Obama and honestly thought b/c he was so smart all his ideas had to be beyond question. He has MSNBC on all day and believes every word.

        • Night Owl November 5, 2021 at 4:04 pm #

Dr. Fauci has successfully acquired a high standard of living or himself and his family. He may not be adhering to your behavioral norms because those norms aren’t prescribed by the culture he operates in but he knows how to acquire affluence within his culture.

      • Anthea November 5, 2021 at 7:16 pm #

        @ Beryl of Oyl:

The way it works from a practical standpoint is that the high IQ person has the POTENTIAL to become a thinker, a problem-solver, and a person of culture and refinement. The low-IQ person does not.

A high IQ person can fail to fulfill that potential because they are kept in ignorance or are miseducated. They can also choose to be intellectually dishonest, or even criminal. If the latter, I suppose it follows that they would be very good at.

A low-IQ person can be a good person. They just have no intellectual potential to fulfill.

One thing that seems to be true of many blacks–at least in my very limited experience–is that they seem to have a talent for certain types of “artisan” work. In soap making (which is what I do), you see many very talented blacks. I suspect they could produce high-quality work in a number of other crafts, such as pottery, woodworking, or textiles. I don’t know how many would have the business skills they’d need to make a go of it. I mean, you’re gonna need an Excel spreadsheet and be able to figure out how much you owe in taxes, and be able to reconcile your checking account and understand the credit cycle on your credit card. I would guess that less than half of blacks can do this stuff.

It’s unbelievable to me that people continue to watch TV. While I can see a family in 1955 sitting down after dinner to watch Gunsmoke, or maybe the modern teen having a couple of favorite shows, everyone would be better off to put the damn thing out by the dumpster.

I have the impression from some old books that most family evenings were spent doing small chores like mending or cracking nuts, or in some cases, shelling beans. (My real-life reports from older people are that they hated that.) In educated and more leisured households, one or more family members might read aloud to entertain the others. In Pride and Prejudice, Mr. Collins annoyed the Bennet family by selecting Fordyce’s Sermons, but there are also accounts of this practice in The Good Life. Or, as a very old song, Caller O’u, as recorded by Jean Redpath, describes a winter evening:

            “At necht ’round the ingle
            Sae canty are we
The oyster lass brings our treat frae the sea.
With music and song, the hours pass us by,
And we hear in the distance the creel lassie’s cry.”

            For a listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6TzqP2yDEY

My daughter and her husband gave up TV for Lent one year, and evenings were spent taking walks or riding their bicycles, or playing board games and drinking hot chocolate.

TV has robbeed family life of so much.

Jim has once again hit the nail on the head. Well meaning guilty white women gave black kids a pass on proper English, thereby achieving the opposite effect of assimilation into white society. Those guilt wracked white liberals from the sixties on are the culprits. Unfortunately, only a sexual predator, Bill Cosby , was brave enough to chastise his fellow black citizens about things like this and the absent black father syndrome.

JHK said: “Now, I’m going to tell you succinctly what is behind Critical Race Theory, and it’s going to hurt: After sixty-odd years of civil rights policy and legislation, a sizable cohort of African-Americans are not making it in this society.”

This is the crux of the problem and until we are able to discuss the reasons in a rational manner, it will not be solved.

Why are they not making it?

Liberal policies designed to fracture the nuclear family, lowered expectations of acceptable behavior and educational progress are the primary suspects.

Libs have been killing the black community for decades with policies they THINK are helping. Blacks are beginning to see the facts but someone in the black community needs to lead them out of the wilderness of progressive ideology.

    • elysianfield November 5, 2021 at 12:08 pm #

          • 100th Avatar November 5, 2021 at 1:30 pm #

It’s just that I find it funny and all, the irony, of a bunch of rather ordinary white people, who have not accomplished much, beyond being spectacularly average and only by way of spectacular help of public welfare, lament over the inability of blacks to reach a level of confidence the allows one to take such foolish pride from that perch.

The elite is not a white’s club, not by any stretch.
Now many white people have a false sense of entry on account of their skin suit.
But I hasten to remind the lowbred whites that many much more intelligent people previously assessed your trajectories. And not liking them, and not liking what the crash landings would bring them, they took proactive measures. Namely, the ones aforementioned.
Many of these were denied to blacks, as of late.

You’re not special. You have not accomplished anything someone did not make for you.

Well, fair enough, but could you provide an example of an endeavor that you might consider “an accomplishment” that would be what…self-generated…and without help?

If we are all provided similar benefits, assuming even that they are means tested…then no one has accomplished anything.

And not any old knowledge. Through tacit knowledge.

“Now, I’m going to tell you succinctly… The actual reasons…”

Quite simply, the lack of equality across the spectrum of all individuals of any species of organism, a near-must for the sustainability of an industrialized society of creatures, lies with the disparity between genetically driven, emotionally motivated behaviors and cognitive, intellectually motivated behaviors.

The specific behaviors, as you are observing here, are but symptoms, not causal agents.

Our local paper reported that although African Americans make up 48% of the student body, they receive 74% of the discipline and suspensions.
    Why? Because………racism.
When my kids were in those schools I had to drive to their schools to pick them up because the school buses were full of rowdy, violent children and the drivers ignored their behavior. One principal rode the bus a couple of days to try to maintain some sort of order, but she gave up.
So I drove to their schools and waited for them to come out. I could plainly see which students where coming out pushing and fighting and which students only wanted to get out of the mess safely.
But, instead of demanding that parents teach their children proper behavior, the teachers are being told to quit trying. I don’t know about the tests anymore. During the No Child Left Behind days, the paper used to publish the results, divided by race. Oops! More racism, even though the schools are integrated and the kids get the same education and the teachers, principals and school board are also integrated.

    • BackRowHeckler November 5, 2021 at 2:02 pm #

Violent incidents in public High Schools in Ct is off the charts (in Hartford, Middletown and New Britain) to the extent that local TV news cannot ignore it. At NBHS, a police officer detained a non student in the building; he was attacked by 3 students and the trespasser, and badly beaten. In Hartford, teachers are quitting in droves. Added to that chaos are dozens of bus drivers being fired for refusing the vaccinations and I don’t see how they can keep these systems going as they have been much longer.

Hey tough guy, most attempts to shut people up don’t come about by screaming “Shut The Fuck Up!”

They come about by piggybacking pleas, snipes, above-it-all calls for “reason” and consideration, and calls to the host to “please do something!”

As to the so-called call for this being an issue of destroying or hindering “intelligent discourse”, what you really mean is that you only want discourse that you agree with.

It’s just a subtler form of cancel culture. You’d all fit in really well in the universities, either as profs, admins, or the Woke student body politic.

While being a devout atheist, I’ve always recognized that certain biblical passages serve as excellent metaphors for current events.

The concept of an elite squad of thinkers pretending to be feckless nit wits mirrors the idea that Satan’s greatest achievement was convincing the masses he doesn’t exist.

As for the continued political tone, I don’t know if jim actually believes/cares about the competing rivalries, or feels the need to satisfy a certain group of readers.

It’s all moot of course. The real issue is who gets to be the guard, and who gets to be the inmate. Every person here has a life experience of simply growing our way out.

But that requires surplus, not scarcity. Some unlucky people through the ages who have come and gone before us have experienced similar periods of decline aka empire collapse.

Think broad scale and ignore the daily bs.

    • toktomi November 5, 2021 at 2:04 pm #

      @mitchellc

In your mind, what is the definition of “atheist”?

Does one who disbelieves in the existence of a god but who recognizes that anything is possible meet the criteria as an atheist?

Must an atheist proclaim a truth that gods do not exist?

I’m always curious about this because it seems to me the contentiousness between beliefs is unnecessarily fabricated. By example, I consider my religious friends and family to be silly and naive in their beliefs but I’m certainly in no position of absolute knowledge to tell them that they are wrong. I simply wish they would adopt a similar position in their perspectives.

      What’s your take?

      ~toktomi~

      • 100th Avatar November 5, 2021 at 2:14 pm #

I’m unsure who said it first, explaining their rejection of the term “atheist”:

“Is there a word for someone who denies the easter bunny?”

        That’s about right.

        • 5G November 5, 2021 at 2:23 pm #

Well … except for NOBODY believes in the Easter Bunny while the vast majority of people (billions) believe in God.

          So there’s that.

I was not referring to your terms. You are 1/8,000,000,000 of Earth (i.e. except to God and perhaps a dozen people, you are statisically insignificant).

Regardless of you, the belief/denial of the Easter Bunny and of God are very different on account of it is zero vs. billions.

That’s why your lame proposition is not widely used. It is apples and orangatangs.

        • Jarek November 5, 2021 at 5:23 pm #

I’m with you. Agnosticism is the pov of pure rationality qua rationality. The zero. Belief in Something or Nothing, plus 1 or negative 1, is still Belief. And if about God, a religion.

People want to believe. And since Atheism is In, they prefer Atheism and its positive negative message to humble, modest rationality which says, “I don’t know”.

Atheism is cool. Agnosticism seems cold, but it is the true cool, the Warm of the Sun of the natural intellect. That being said, I’m a Believer, for non-rational reasons.

Great response. Personally the thought of making a statement of being “devout” of anything makes me cringe. Total and absolute belief in anything is the abandonment of critical thought. Just my 2 cents.

        • Anthea November 5, 2021 at 11:54 pm #

There is such a thing as direct experience of spiritual realms, though it is somewhat rare. Such cases compel belief, in the same way that one believes in the existence of ham sandwiches; one has seen them.

We are intended to be working in the dark here. If we knew that the outcome of our actions would be beneficial, we would do right opportunistically–to “get” something. I think this is why direct experiences of the divine are fairly rare. They are a form of interference with The Work. I think they are usually an emergency intervention.

      Mitchell,

(from Wiki) “The contemporary meaning of the term “transhumanism” was foreshadowed by one of the first professors of futurology, a man who changed his name to FM-2030. In the 1960s, he taught “new concepts of the human” at The New School when he began to identify people who adopt technologies, lifestyles and worldviews “transitional” to posthumanity as “transhuman”

The whole “transhumanism” entry is worth reading.

When you say “thinkers”, are you thinking “transhumans”? As envisioned by someone like Julian Huxley? (“Sir Julian Sorell Huxley FRS[1] (22 June 1887 – 14 February 1975) was an English evolutionary biologist, eugenicist, and internationalist. He was a proponent of natural selection, and a leading figure in the mid-twentieth century modern synthesis. He was secretary of the Zoological Society of London (1935–1942), the first Director of UNESCO, a founding member of the World Wildlife Fund, the president of the British Eugenics Society (1959-1962), and the first President of the British Humanist Association”).

Just trying to understand your most unusual thought wavelength.

        • Rulo Deschamps November 5, 2021 at 6:15 pm #

          Soul,

it could be that. The closet thing.

When I see something he’s posted I’m very curious to understand him, because he’s spot on resource depletion, overpopulation.

Then says he wants to be the guard, not the inmate.

He sounds cold and rational, Apollonian – but isn’t endorsing mass murder, and volunteering to be a guard, Dionysian? Or even Molochian?

It’s one thing to recognize there’s too many of us and not enough Earth, quite a different one to signal one is ready to help the “thinkers” by dropping the Zyklon B into the showers.

To get on a flight to Acapulco?

          Lonely planet indeed, Mitch.

Soul, Mitch was out having a ham sandwich ffs. Get a grip.

Rulo, I am astonished. I will back your logical depop dreams ONLY if you & all your beloveds take that one way ticket off this rock now. Wtf?

Mitch, yes, pure energy or something close to it is the way to go. But the trouble is the so called “thinkers” think they have it all figured out. Like Marx, Adolf, J Jones, more…,
They are right about the problems we face, and helpless in the face of ‘merely human’ options. And so the green option now up.
How very kind of them to condescend to solve our dilemma.

The answer is not a human plan. A human might get the gist of it like these so called thinkers have, but they are infinitely short on understanding. They are one part of infinity but have not transcended the whole of it.

If the Pope and the Dalai Llama don’t get it, I don’t know who will.

Oh, wait, I do know. It’s the lowly, the simple, those with no presumption of power who will be and have been told how this will play out.

Actually, I do respond to valid commentary. It just seems around 75% of the posts are written by asylum inmates.

Anyway, I came up with the term thinkers as a substitute for leaders, elite, powers, etc. It’s wealth/power neutral, so that it incorporates a broad intellectual class who understand what is occurring.

Our host of course gets it, but he also enjoys the mental exercise putting pen to paper entails. So we get these political missives that act a bit like a strong cup of coffee.

As for transhumanism, that’s become a loaded term with negative connotations. To be honest, Arthur c Clark had it figured out before I was born: the true way forward is pure energy.

This suggests biological intelligence is merely a necessary step towards reaching full expression as time/space travelers.

Soooo, getting back to where we are today, if one were to draw an arc to what’s required to achieve our full potential, you can quickly see we have a major obstacle.

Yes, those pesky 7b useless eaters who are quickly consuming the critical resources needed to nurse humanity along until the zero point.

Now, to be clear, I don’t quite possess the necessary psychopathy that is essential to pulling off the great culling, but I certainly understand the motivations and objectives.

          Mtchell,

fair enough. My 2¢ per paragraph #. Assuming you’re interested in another person’s view and not consider yourself the owner of the truth:

1- No, only about 25 to 50% depending on the week.
2- Maybe it’s not the complete term. The more accurate term, then, would be “right thinkers” – “bien pensants”, which is a loaded term too as it implies smug superiority. Many of us think. Yet don’t impose ghoulish agendas on the world. Perhaps the right term would be “gods” (small g). Or “kapos”. Or “mad scientists”. Or “false prophets”
3- Yes, a strong cup of coffee. Yes, he’s veered off of his forte and into petty politics. Meaningless politics, manipulated, irrelevant. Still a great writer. One day he’ll be back to acting, not reacting – setting up his own agenda, not dancing to the tunes of others. Or not.
4- A good author: “any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic”.
5- Hm, OK. Perhaps the only possible time – space travel is mystical, visionary, and to force us all into their understanding of that quest implies we don’t value our own time or space and, through technology, wish to transcend the dystopia we’ve created also through technology.
6- What is our full potential? My version: to be a race of kind philosophers. To be happy and wish all around us to also be happy. To live in harmony with Nature. To be rich because we need little, not because we have much. Other things too, but you get the idea. What’s yours?
7- Useless eaters doesn’t capture the whole idea. There’s a Kant and a Mozart among them, a man who makes his village happy with fireworks, a devoted mother who sacrifices all for her children, a joker, a guru, a man who talks to trees and the trees answer him, someone who pushes an old lady from the ongoing train and ends up under it himself. Useless? Who decides who’s useless? The “bien pensants”? Are they useful to anyone but themselves, under your definition? And what is the zero point? The singularity? OK, so I was right – you are a transhumanist. Not so unique, that. Brewed out of California’s witches’ cauldron along with New Age, political correctness, Manson cult, UFO cults, tech surveillance, plastic surgery, pop satanism and so many other Trojan horses. You may want to read Michel Houellebecq about all this I’m talking about. Plenty of English translations.
8- The only possible culling is not a culling – it’s a reduction in our numbers by methods both rational and humane. I’ve written posts about it here before in more detail, but you were not interested. In a nutshell: global consensus, education, economic incentives for sterilization, legal euthanasia for those who desire it, some forms of eugenics, a massive change in habits and expectations when it comes to consumption, a massive training of slum and city dwellers to become organic farmers and foresters, etc. You are correct a culling that involves deceiving and mass murdering people to preserve some “thinkers” prestige, status and use of whatever resources are left, would be pure psychopathy, and moreover, very bad mojo, very bad karma, for whoever tries to achieve it. Glad you’re not in that camp. Maybe it’s time we started talking about what I mentioned in the first part of this #8 answer, and not endorsing a “kill them all (you do it, I’m too chicken to do it myself… and please spare me, I supported you the whole time)” attitude.

          Cheers!

          • anmariwakaranai November 6, 2021 at 8:47 am #

Rulo, your reduction list is repugnant to me, though in the past at some point I may have agreed. Global consensus, but not in the way you see it. And education, yes, that aligns.
I am not talking about planned parenthood education or any iteration of globo homo talking points.

          • Paula D November 6, 2021 at 1:12 pm #

amw, how is his list repugnant? It makes sense to me.
Humans are using up resources at an unsustainable rate, and the human population will crash when the crops fail, which will happen when the oil and natural gas is unavailable.
We’ve already had testimony on this very thread that they are selling oil elsewhere for the higher prices, and that industrial agriculture will be struggling for artificial fertilizer this spring.
There is no point in pretending that 8 billion humans will be just fine without food and water, because we desire it to be so.
Better birth control and moving to the country is a better answer than a great culling, which is how I read what Rulo said.

          • anmariwakaranai November 6, 2021 at 3:44 pm #

Paula, you are right. I am not wrong. You can educate people but you can’t play God.

          • anmariwakaranai November 6, 2021 at 6:47 pm #

Hey ru, reconsider this, I know I sound brutal.

            Go figure.

It is a kind of divine irony that those without one iota of power, truly, have it all.

Kind of like a seed dead to this world.

          • Paula D November 6, 2021 at 6:55 pm #

Yeah, we can’t play God, but there are clearly people who think they can. Look at Gates and Fauci’s smug smiles and imperial decrees.

          • anmariwakaranai November 6, 2021 at 10:56 pm #

Paula, yes but when ru says he’s down with eugenics and euthanasia and sterilization. Too far imho.
I know the planet is crumbling under our weight. But every time a human made solution comes around it is a slippery slope until it becomes the final solution.

I think we will get crushed by the borg, and like that Marx quote from Jim I posted downstream, only after they lose it all, will they come round to God.

Of course for Marx that wsd come round to cccp

anmari, what’s repugnant on my list? Seems rational and humane. Better than genocide, war, or a bioweapon pandemic and vaccines, no?

Voluntary euthanasia? Why do you talk about Planned Parenthood? I didn’t even touch on abortion. A movement to move to organic farms that would replace the mass industrial ag we now have? Certain forms of eugenics? (I’m thinking preventing carriers of certain hereditary diseases from having offspring, for example)

Bottom line, nobody alive today has to die. What’s wrong about it?

          • anmariwakaranai November 6, 2021 at 6:16 pm #

Rulo. P. parenthood was the wrong choice of words, sorry.
Repugnant because this, I’m going to go broad here and then get personal….good on everything u said except…
You cannot play God. You can educate. Did you see E. Musk on world population by 2050? Utube. The true population trajectory is down down down, once educated and living just above the poverty line. Malthus theory works.

I am religious. You know that. It is my understanding that these people trying to kill us by deception will be nuked in short order. 3.5 years from now. At that time the USA will be down to 100 million people, the rest having died by suicide according to Deagal, an arm of the intelligence community.

Most by suicide. I have my suspicions that that’s part of the ‘prick’, some code to shut down the amygdala when tptb see fit.
Stop laughing. If not then by despair! You see your country destroyed, your family, your hopes and dreams dashed, all your money turned to smoke, no food no hope, JUMP.

You saying this makes you just like them.

Eugenics? What, so we can have more human weiner dogs dragging their tums on the ground? Three eyes instead of two? What exactly are you trying to improve? Brain? Body? Design?

If you think brains are all that matter, and I know you don’t, go look at the lives of Musk…!, Gates, Bezos, Zuk. Look at any of your heroes. You want longevity? No you don’t.

Leave it to God man you are playing with a fire that is going to destroy you along with them in 3.5 years.

My brother opted out up here just after they legalized suicide. What a fucking mess. He had a DNR, do not resuscitate, we all do, NO intibation, ever, because 30% you’ll survive it w/o life altering injury.

So in their wisdom they convince him to intibate. This is before the coof. All downhill from there. Fully on fentanyl till he got the legal chops to pull the plug. Messy biz ru. For Gods sake no.

Rulo, like my many syblings that attended private catholic schools and got ten times the education and life skills I could ever aspire to, who left the church forever but who had solid families, good jobs and only one divorce in the family, so somethinf must have rubbed off, like it did with you.

Your mom. Your mom is only here part time now. My mom was the same. It happens very fast when it begins, the final slope downward. Think of what she believed. I know you grew out of that, so did I, so did everybody that thought they had half a brain.

But they were wrong. My sybs are under a forced delusion. Two shots down, kids in line, arms ready to go, the kids kids same.

I want to go there in my stealth ninja midnight raid gear, save their lives. Ain’t gonna happen Ru. God will wake them up and heal them.

Do you remember the examine? Look at your thinking. No man can solve the big problems. Leave it to God.

            anmari,

it seems you’re not really reading my thoughts but listening to the knee-jerk reactions in your mind to what you think I’m saying. Because I appreciate your contributions here, I’m not losing patience. I’ll be clear to the point of silliness:

I’m not playing God. I’m against trans-humanist experiments to deal w overpopulation. I’m not a nazi, a Mengele. I don’t endorse the great reset, or however this covid crisis is being framed.

My vision is a process of several decades where a consensus is reached globally that business as usual re pop and resources is not possible anymore. VOLUNTARY reductions, VOLUNTARY sterilizations funded by raiding the leech plutocrat, Wall St class. VOLUNTARY euthanasia. MILD FORMS of eugenics, not race or politically based exterminations. EDUCATION and a shift away from technology into billions of small homesteads growing organically.

That’s it. I’m done explaining it to you. Understand, or don’t. I respect your right to be a fundamentalist, messianic Christian, Catholic, whatever your beliefs. But you can’t tell me not to think for myself. In any case, my vision is totally optimistic and will never be achieved, so reductions will have to happen by the usual methods. In the words of Shakespeare, “famine, sword, and fire”. Cheerio, ciao.

1 more story. Remember Hitchens gr8 debates? So I know 1 of his debaters and asked him to get a quantum physicist in on the debate because of my experience with that discipline being indistinguishable from faith. He did and the debate flopped cuz Hitch, in his hilarious manner just made a joke of the scientist.

      • Soul Forensics November 5, 2021 at 5:16 pm #

        ammari,

I like Hitchens when he sticks to facts, but he had no sense of the transcendent, for which I could never forgive him.

Like his practical slam dunks against monotheism, he also excoriated the logical plot lines when critiquing world literature, but refused — nay, was unable — to distinguish or even recognize the deeper and esoteric issues the non-linear structure and mood were pointing to. (I.e., his reviews of the novels of Graham Greene and Orhan Pamuk were shallow and petty.)

        • Hereward the Woke November 5, 2021 at 5:55 pm #

I’ve always found that militant atheists are very similar to fundamental Christians. They both share a complete inability to question their bedrock foundational beliefs: atheists that life is purely mechanistic and materialist; and fundies that the bible is literally true.

          • Soul Forensics November 5, 2021 at 6:16 pm #

            Agreed, HTW.

          • Slugoon November 6, 2021 at 3:32 am #

I will venture, not for the first on these forums, that atheism is merely the absence of belief. It’s a pure negative. Not a positive belief in an ‘alternative’.

That said, as an atheist, I’m willing to believe that I might be wrong. Perhaps the Christians are right. Perhaps the Muslims are. Maybe the Indians. One of them could be.

        • anmariwakaranai November 6, 2021 at 9:00 am #

Soul & Hereward, I disagree. Chris (and Rahm Emmanuel for that matter), were/was raised in a family similar to my own, excepting they were intellectuals, mine not so much.

So, and you can read this yourselves in various interviews with either, they would ‘have it out’ around the kitchen table.

Hitches brother of course became the famous pastor & columnist, and Hitch, true to his role at the dinner table, became the court jester. (& Some say agent for the state, which follows).

Now he may have been stuck there, but I don’t think so. I think inferring from some death bed tales we might presume otherwise.

And, HE facilitated actually talking religion for once, in those debates. And I am grateful.

        • SpeedyBB November 7, 2021 at 8:40 pm #

SF, “I like Hitchens when he sticks to facts, but he had no sense of the transcendent, for which I could never forgive him.”

Amusing to conjecture what “…sense of the transcendent…” he has at this point.

Though who knows. It may be quite possible that, having evacuated the mortal shell, you stick to your guns and continue to appreciate the “Big Picture”.

Didn’t Hitchens drop acid? (Vague memory only.) That alone should have taught him a hard lesson about material reality.

        False dichotomy, I would offer.

There are probably a multitude of alternatives.

For example, walk away, either figuratively or literally.

To rattle on a bit more, I offer that there are only two things in life that we own, our opinions and our word. I value them dearly, and I will endeavor forever to speak my peace honestly and to keep my word. I’ll take that spot in line at the Food Bank while I walk away from their lying media outlets, their invitations for voluntary lethal injections, and their respect for authority. As any self-respecting red neck will tell you, fences keep in only the complacent.

So, there are a few more possibly wrong PO’s.

There is no shame, at least to me, in accepting a humble and meager existence. For me, it has been a life’s trip, amazingly trippy, that broke down the facades and barriers and allowed the Earth into my life. Walking away from a job when it ceased to be fun, being granted anearly a lifelong thrill with each fun task at hand [save for that Marine Corps thing of my youth] and spitting in authority’s soup all along the way has made for unlimited happiness.

There is no need to stop the tide. One need only to retreat to higher ground.

            maybe; maybe not

          toktomi,

well said. And our word is vastly more important than our opinion; in fact it includes and supersedes it. If we are serious about our word, and keep an impeccable record of fulfilling whatever we said we would, what does it matter what our opinions are? Our word IS our opinion, a stronger version of our opinion.

Opinions are cheap, a belief strong enough to vow to act in a certain way because of it, even if we end up in the welfare line or the concentration camp:

          – The nazis are shite: opinion
          – I will fight the nazis to my death: my word

          – The jabs are dangerous: opinion
          – I will not get the jabs no matter what: my word

    JHK:
“Now, I’m going to tell you succinctly what is behind Critical Race Theory, and it’s going to hurt: After sixty-odd years of civil rights policy and legislation, a sizable cohort of African-Americans are not making it in this society and white WJPs (aka “liberals”) are stricken with guilt and shame at the failure of their efforts to uplift this group and heal the world. That’s the cold, hard reality and that is what needs to change — but it won’t change as long as race-hustling (making money off the excuses) is considered “okay.””

    EXCELLENT explanation.

When the USA hit peak oil in the 70s, the Congress of that time passed a law saying that US oil companies could not sell any more oil abroad.
The Congress of 2015 lifted the ban and the oil companies immediately started selling oil to other countries.
    They also sell coal.
The Ohio and Mississippi rivers come together near the town of Cairo, Illinois. Some years back I heard that China had bought the Port of Cairo and was planning on modernizing it.
Big ships could only come up to Memphis, but they wanted to be able to send them up to Cairo. It involved removing a bridge which was too low for the big ships. So we started getting propaganda about “modernizing” infrastructure, including replacing that bridge.
I have no idea what happened. The man that told me all this is no longer a friend, and none of it was reported in the media, except the part about how we “needed” to “modernize” our infrastructure.
I did go to Cairo and wanted to go see where the Ohio and Mississippi came together, but the road to it was blocked and I didn’t want to walk. Why was it blocked? They didn’t say, but I can guess.

    • Paula D November 5, 2021 at 1:57 pm #

My point is that it is probably more profitable to sell the oil abroad than to make sure that Americans have electricity, so that is what they will do.

        And coal.

Capitalism. Free market. Goods are sold for profit. Supply/Demand. Bigger demand, higher price. Higher price, more profit.

Those opposed should have bought shares in the frackers and thus benefited from these larger profits of increased supply.

American oil is no more American than Chinese iPhones are Chinese.

That is supposedly why we have a government, to protect the people.
Look at the difference between the Congress of the 70s and the Congress of 2015, when it comes to saving American fossil fuels for Americans.

In my opinion, many Americans were so indoctrinated with the simplistic: Capitalism Good, Socialism Bad that they never saw the “end-run” coming.

Capitalism will devour everything until it eventually must feed upon itself.

Capitalism hates borders and, ultimately, populations.

Yes, if the point is to have everything and you are already at the Top, then it becomes a question of reducing the number of slices of pie, and thus eaters of the pie. What the point of owning the Pie if you have to share it? Now they just want the pie itself. The eaters helped get them there, but now they’re just useless eaters who have to go.

The people who founded this country came up with an excellent system that:

            1. Worked very well for them (they were the elite expatriate Brits of their day. Why should they pay taxes to the King? Even though Britain, the KING, had incurred very real costs, raising taxes and borrowing money (which had to be repaid) to outfit ships and soldiers to fight across the Atlantic to save the Colonies from France in the French and Indian War, 1755-1763). Let’s just cancel that and start anew–no Kings. And I personally fully support that!!!

            2. Worked well for the hoi polloi.

The founding fathers were not about “democracy”. Many cringed at the thought of under- or uneducated people voting, some maintained that only property owners should vote. Elitist thoughts that I have come to appreciate with and empathize with.

The founding fathers were certainly not “statists” or totalitarians.

The founding fathers came up with a Republic, with government power relatively limited, and that power divided between the executive, legislative, and judicial branches.

Remaining authority was the domain of the states, and it was expected that they too would have checks and balances.

The implication was that every entity would zealously work to ensure its prerogatives were maintained and not encroached. It was anticipated that entities might seek more power (at the expense of other entities), and the other entities would check this.

While the USA had, all things considered, an exceptional run from 1789 to 1860, and again from 1865 to 1973, the foundation was corrupted by the poison pill of slavery.

In my opinion, as America developed differently, between the nascent industrial North, and the agrarian South, the real question was how the Feds would generate tax revenue. The North was in favor of tariffs on foreign goods (and EVERY successful economy has availed itself of tariffs) to help the NORTHERN elites who had factories making goods that were overpriced and inferior to European (British) goods. However, the SOUTHERN elites (the plantation owners) wanted free trade, so they could export their wares (which used slave labor) and get the most for them.

Slavery was related, but not the big issue. However, it resonated with the public in the North, so it was used.

The Civil War was a big blow to decentralized power, as the Federal government’s role expanded.

The Federal Reserve Act, the income tax, the direct election of Senators also eroded the Constitutional foundation. The huge corporations and banks of the late 1800s and early 1900s had excessive control of government, also eroding the Constitutional vision. FDRs attempts to corral them didn’t stop there–let the government take over. Then the mega-state required to fight WWII. The the military-industrial complex to fight the cold war. All of these took us off the course the founders had aimed for.

My goodness, must I be so long to get to the point?

So, here’s the deal (in my opinion): the modern Republican party’s main mission in life was to preserve the wealth of big money. To cut taxes, playing to the public’s “freedom” and “lower taxation”, while in reality, corporate America and their elite usually (not always) benefit. They also push smaller government. In the past 40 years, lack of money and the GOP have eviscerated the watchdogs.

While the watchdogs have been excessive at times, in general, they are undermanned, overwhelmed, and do a poor job of regulating. They’ve outsourced the regulation of industries to the industries themselves.

Laissez-faire, absent of checks and balances, leads to monopoly, corporate control, and ultimately feudalism, as we will be finding out.

On the other hand, government run amok leads to pretty much the same thing: government control and slavery.

The slow erosion of the values and finances of middle America has weakened the checks that “normal people” agreed on, and made Americans more partisan, and the duopoly reflects the wishes of the elite.

A Republic, if you can keep it, said Ben Franklin.

According to this piece, the results of vaccine trials were doctored, and the FDA really hasn’t overseen them. Actually, according to this piece:

In 2007 the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the Inspector General released a report on FDA’s oversight of clinical trials conducted between 2000 and 2005. The report found that the FDA inspected only 1% of clinical trial sites.6 Inspections carried out by the FDA’s vaccines and biologics branch have been decreasing in recent years, with just 50 conducted in the 2020 fiscal year

The Democrats of course have degenerated into statists who sow division and are willing and eager to destroy what is left of this country so they can run it.

Socrates, gr8 insight there for me, admittedly a non citizen. So what’s the solution then? I keep thinking about that 3 feet of rebar used to hit the libs upside the head in Jims piece.
I think the tool or weapon if you will that we can use to take down the behemoth might also be the thing that can shore up the foundation of the republic.

            What say you?

            Good points, Socrates.
We’re in quite a predicament at this point.

            Thank you all.

I just wanted to point out how little the FDA actually monitors the pharmaceutical industry, according to that link.

We have hundreds of pages of laws, but this is just common sense.

And the much-hated IRS (and I hate the the tax code too, and by the extension, the IRS) is drowning in thousands of laws, yet undermanned. The average person who gets caught up (not CAUGHT for wrong doing, just caught up, can be destroyed). Yet people who are cheating, most of them can lawyer up, and the IRS seems too weak to catch them.

The SEC. Are they really preserving the integrity of stock markets?

Pro sports, not nearly as important as those three functions, have officials, and official reviews.

I’m not laissez faire. I’m an advocate of limited government. We we need the same rules for everyone, and they need to have teeth and be enforced.

Too much government leads to dictatorship and slavery.

Laissez-faire leads to servitude. Different flavors of the same disease.

          • anmariwakaranai November 8, 2021 at 8:27 am #

Socrates, as was discovered in 2008, the sec, like the fda today has meagre human resource and less will to enforce any law, lest it go against the true mandate of gov.

On laissez faire vs supreme top down fascism, you are on to something here.

To marry Jims rebar with that, it was moral outrage that served to bring down the servant of moloch, and that same outrage could fix the foundational deviations writ large these dark days…..

I made a special effort to visit Cairo, Illinois a few months ago because it’s position at the confluence of the Mississippi and the Ohio rivers made me think it might be an ideal town with attributes which Jim Kunstler would espouse. Sorry to say it is a wreck. It reminded me of one of those abandoned towns in a Mad Max movie.

During a recent driving trip out West my husband had to figure out a way to get there from Georgia without going through Illinois (we were travelling with firearms and God forbid the Illinois gun laws he said). We took a 45 minute detour but it turned out that we actually did have to go through Illinois for 10 minutes via the Cairo bridge. If the bridge has been modernized you can’t prove it by me – two lanes barely wide enough for a car and semi to pass at the same time.

Yes, Cairo has been largely depopulated, and it has been going on for decades, but it has increased.
There is a young reporter who was assigned to investigate the housing projects. It turns out that the Alexander County housing department was corrupt!! What a shock! She won a prize for her reporting and the entire housing project was shut down, and the residents removed.
I pointed out to her that that is the reason we have auditors and building inspectors. They could have fixed the problem without kicking out the residents by auditing the books and fixing the plumbing, etc.
She looked shocked. I don’t think that ever occurred to her. She was just SO proud of her prize.
The man that told me about the plans for the Port is a professor of architecture and he was trying to save both the old mansions of Cairo and the shotgun housing. Both are a lot like old New Orleans, which is probably because it was the French who built both cities.
But he failed. They tore down all that classic housing also.

It’s all go outside my window – the fireworks I mean. (The curtains are closed – I’m just getting the noise).

Our previous dog used to go insane with terror, desperately trying to force herself into tiny corners or under the desk, shaking with fear, scraping with her sharp, greyhound’s claws on the carpet as she tried to dig her way through to Australia and freedom from fireworks.

This one, thankfully, isn’t bothered, which is a blessed relief. Also, in recent years, the 5 Nov. fireworks would start at Halloween and carry on every night until the weekend after bonfire night. In these covid times, the appetite seems to have waned, so nothing but a few crackers in the nights after Halloween and most people seem to have waited until tonight, although I expect the weekend will also be active.

We didn’t get a view like that, sadly. We arrived in Oban from the lovely island of Mull on the ferry the day before, with Mediterranean sunshine splitting the bricks, and looking forward to the trip the next day. I’d booked first class tickets, which gave you seats that were like elegant Edwardian armchairs, plus free tea and a scone!

Sadly we woke to pissing rain, which stayed with us the entire day. We had to run to a restaurant on arrival in Mallaig, for fish and chips, then run back to the train for the rainy return trip.

Yes, there are normal trains on the Ft Wm to Mallaig line too, but there is one Jacobite trip a day in the summer. The scenery is impressive, but you do need the weather.

            https://westcoastrailways.co.uk/jacobite/steam-train-trip

Although you get more and cheaper just by getting a normal train from Glasgow up to Fort William. You’re hardly out of Glasgow before you hit the beautiful views of the Clyde estuary in Argyll (‘land of the Gaels’), and the single track railway further north over e.g. the Rannoch Moor (think RLS’ ‘Kidnapped’ from Jacobite times, if you have read the book) is beautiful, in a wild, slightly desolate way.

Fort William, though – known as the ‘gateway to the Highlands’ (it’s by Ben Nevis) is a dump. But there is the best pie shop ever on the Main Street!

The most infuriating thing NightOwl and Islander is this. The same clack and cluck of industrialist, of globalists who profited these decades and centuries from all the wondrous economic expansion now want to claim the moral high ground using climate change as their cover story when, in reality if we subscribe to our host’s thesis, endless economic expansion is no longer possible due to Peak Oil. They created a Frankenstein, a bubble of human population and now they need to deflate it. They seek to furlough the greater part of humanity from existence. But DuPont and other chemical manufacturers didn’t mind the expansion while they were selling toxic, petroleum based fertilizers and pesticides to the agricultural industry. Archer Midland Daniels and other giant Agri-ists didn’t mind the expansion while they were selling us their increasingly nutrient deficient and insipid tasting food products. Gates and Jobs didn’t mind selling us their computers which supposedly makes our lives better until maybe people started to get too smart. All of them capitulated only when their natural capitalist inclinations came under attack from the same clack which always ruins it for everyone. The Socialists or the Marxists or whatever you want call them. In the end they’re all Ayn Rand’s Destroyers.

Weirdly enough, in the spring of 2020, during the pandemic, some US cities were bombarded with fireworks going off all night, every night, for months.
The poor dogs! But people were also complaining about it.
It went on in New York, Detroit, LA, San Jose, and others that I can’t remember. I just remember that for some reason, it didn’t happen in Seattle.
The noise lasted until 3 or 4am every night. Where did the fireworks come from? They are illegal in most of the places they were going off?
Who paid for it? Fireworks ain’t cheap.
Why did the police allow it?
The whole thing was suspect as hell. I still don’t know what happened, but this year, it did not happen.

Always with the language eh? Change it’s meaning, redefine, ghetto-up, what ever happened to Esperanza, language of the world?

Short story. I had to give a speech in Japanese. I could write it, but it would sound something like, “This big house is government….”. A Japanese person wrote the speech for me instead. I have no idea what it said, but am an excellent parrot. Afterwards I was pursued by some folks who wanted to continue the conversation begun in the speech.

Meanwhile, I’d been hanging out with peeps my own age and had learned their jargon, a whole other language in fact with different verb endings, accents, the whole shebang, a gutteral and harsh version of Japanese, very rappish.

So they ask me a question, and I say something like, “Yah, it’s all bs.”, forgetting precisely WHO I am talking to IN Japanese society considering MY position as a young, white, female. These 3 consideration should have raised my Japanese to using the highest honorifics, a good two or more levels of language above what I actually said. Room went silent, gasps were heard, laughter barked. I was not asked to return.

anmari, what an amazing story. Thanks for sharing.

Do they really have “Japanese only” signs in some places there? Is it as closed as I read it is? What’s your take on it? I read it’s very hard to become a resident there from someone, a Canadian, who taught English there for a while. Was that your gig, too?

      • anmariwakaranai November 6, 2021 at 10:00 am #

Rulo, they take all comers now as Japans pop crisis is in overdrive. Most men go there to teach english and marry a Japanese girl.

Maybe thats the only way in.

The old samurai family that housed me there had no heirs. I think their plan was to adopt me and marry me off to one of the up and comers, or adopt him or something.

My experience of the Japanese is that they are xenophobic to the max. Extremely polite so you would probably never guess.

        I was studying there Ru.

Never saw a Japanese only sign. I would think they would not be overt about it. But all my intel is old so, maybe.

One more story. First a dream. When I first arrived I was asleep on tatami, on a japanese futon, (the kind you roll up and put away in the morning), in the upper chamber.
I dreamt two hags, long grey hair swirling, kimonos waving around them, pointed to me with their inches long and curled fingernails, hovering above me, warning me off their island, in no uncertain terms.
It was cicada season, the roar you would hear while going by a jungle, a bamboo forest. I awoke with one in my mouth, thrashing furiously.
Think 3 inches of cockroach, but with mythical properties.
          …………….

Next is not a dream. I thought I dreamt that somebody old kept coming in my room at night and looking down at me. Every night.
After a month of this, I ask if anybody gets up in the middle of the night to pray at the shinto shrine to ancestors that is adjacent to my room. Looks are passed quietly around the dinner table, one foot higher than the tatami floor, with a depression for more leg room, an electric brazier under it to toast our feet, and a table blanket we get under ànd strap to our kidneys to stay warm.

          No central heat!

Later the mother of the house takes me to a small sliding wooden door, something like a big closet emerges, beautifully finished wooden bookshelves set into the closet but with small and varied divisions housing dolls and toys from a bygone era, mostly.
Below these shelves is a single bed, made up in tones of pink.

Mother tells me this is where her husbands sister lives and sleeps. This sister was still invitro when Nagasaki, a few short miles away, was nuked. Something’s wrong with sister. The Japanese did not at that time display their crippled or their weak. They still might not, Olympics notwithstanding.

So I met sis, not downs, but sweet like that, just not really there. They let her out to play at night. And sometime in the day when I was not around, somebody would cart her off for other things.

Classic feminine writing. The Dreams come first. And the actual physical action in our common world comes second. It’s hard to tell them apart in the writing. You come to realize that women find it hard to tell them apart too – and prefer the subjective in any case. As Freud said, “the primary process”.

Interesting info on the Japanese though. Some have said behind their ritualized indifference, they are very emotional – like Italians.

Yes, they are dying, infected by modern Western culture, both pop and corporate. The women all want to be millionaires not mothers, and the men have lost interest in them now as well.

          • Rulo Deschamps November 6, 2021 at 4:42 pm #

            anmari,

both stories are eerie. The first one was hypnotic, the dream. I know cicadas. I also know historically the Japanese have been very isolationist. It would make sense that the hags were spirits to warn you, the foreigner, to get out. The cicada in the mouth being a reminder of that when you got out of dreamworld. Kind of like the flower that the time traveler brings back in HG Wells’ “The Time Machine”, a real token of a different world. In any case, what a shock.

The second one is also strange, but not as scary. You say the sister was “in vitro” when the bomb dropped, but did they have artificial insemination back in the ’40’s? Maybe you meant “in utero”?

I read somewhere that cultures are either of guilt or of shame. I think Japan is probably the latter, and they must be very keen on hiding away any source of shame, like that odd sister.

In any case, what an experience to be there, back when there were very few outsiders. What an alien culture.

I appreciate you sharing some of the stories and experiences from those years.

I thought you may enjoy this recent piece on a blog I follow, written by a Swedish man, sometimes in English. He makes very interesting connections between the US political situation and traditional Japanese worldviews, and the way they understand warfare. Enjoy!

Big shock. Terror in fact. I think they were relative come down to scare off the gaijin bitch.
The token, the cicaida. Will look up what it means….
Cicada Represents illumination, empowerment, insight, breaking through, and having a sense of humor with leaving others to figure out

The cicada is an animal replete with symbolism: recurring themes are resurrection, immortality, spiritual realization and spiritual ecstasy. For the Ancient Greeks and Romans they sang ecstatically, were sacred to Apollo and related to the dionysiac bacchae and maenads.

            More meanings on search too.

Shame! Alien! You nailed it ….like bladerunner Ist

            Will read ru, thnx!!!

One thing I forgot. The grandfather lived there too. His I presume, because of the paternal nature of their society. I bet it was his house. The day I arrived he said, “I smell gaijin’. Ouch.

He was nearly blind, white eyed, a spider of a man, tall in his muted silks, pouring over the Asa Hi Shibun, the newspaper, with a 6 inch magnifying block of circular lens, laying on top of the low table where he sat cross legged with his tea.

This in a separate apartment set apart from the main house. A traditional U shaped Japanese construction, garden in the centre of the U. All sliding shoji doors, a miracle of paper and bamboo.

No Japanese without a phd could read that paper.
His samurai sword hung behind him on the wall, a fact I kept close.

And for Samurais anyway, money was dirty, women kept the books. They had graineries for shipping rice and the hospital.

          • Rulo Deschamps November 6, 2021 at 4:46 pm #

Wow! A feudal society, JHK called it in one of his essays. I can see why.

I read somewhere that Japanese and Chinese can actually smell Westerners. We smell of sour milk. Traditionally, they never used to eat dairy products or drink milk. It’s changing some now, with globalization. China now imports some cheese and milk, I know that.

So the old samurai could smell you. Besides, when you’re blind, they say your other senses get sharper.

Jared Taylor, the Founder of American Renaissance, grew up in Japan and speaks it fluently. Japanese find this mind blowing. They admit that they are so ethnocentric that they find it hard to even see it, being so central to their identity.

He tells a story of a girl who lived with a Japanese family like you. As she left, the mother said: We loved having you. You’ve become like a daughter to us. Please don’t use your ability to speak Japanese to get a Japanese boy. We would see that as a betrayal.

The girl felt she was out on her feet. She never picked up on it during her time with them. If they feel this way, why do they do this to themselves, hosting foreigners? Duty?

As far as overpopulation, Traditional Catholics haven’t a clue and react violently and stupidly. It’s something new and they can’t deal with anything not in Scripture or talked about by the Church Fathers. The Fathers knew nothing about this. But you’re right too: the solutions proffered are monstrous.

I sense OG gets it. He really is very smart. He doesn’t get involved in the debate because he never believed fallen humanity would ever be able to solve its own problems.

A non-Fallen humanity? Sex would be sacred and obviously couples would only have children intentionally. The idea that real Catholics have to have huge families is crap I’m afraid. That would lead to over-population in the long run. After two or three, you have to stop if the world population is in the billions. After the Catastrophes, there will be the opportunity to have more of course. These things are difficult for us because of our fallen natures and blighted intellects. They’re not that complicated in and of themselves.

Why do this? They were on top of the world when I was there, like 1950s america. So the deal was, in order to ease the commerce/trade & diplomacy angle, encourage foreign students, sponsor them. My niece did the same in this century, but note this, the kids lived in dorms….no more families.

Lucky me. I got to see some rare thing that is no more.

I did go overboard up there. Should have left it at my initial -people w/o an iota of power have it all -comment. But you know, nothing exceeds like excess, I am a master of that. A brain is a dangerous thing J. Thankfully mine’s waning.

How’s smells & bells ? Go today? I went last eve but am needing a refill, asap.

“I have come to many realizations reading AmRen, but the most important is that we cannot be overcome with hatred and rage. All of us have those feelings sometimes, but they are not productive emotions and are eventually self-destructive. Instead, let us endeavor to channel our focus into helping one another and waking up as many of our people as possible”

just took that off Amren websight J. Comments.

            Og, smart guy. Yes.

I don’t think you need much more than attrition and real love to conquer our problems. Easier said than done mind you. And by real love I mean a true emptying of oneself for ‘other’.

            Sad today.

While I was being groomed in the land of the rising sun, before the desolation of the Christmas season, (when, for the first time since arriving I walked to town and got a pack of smokes from a vending machine on the street), a certain wife showed me how to sleep.

It is a womans duty to be ever ready for her husbands attentions you see, and so she unrolled her futon and lay down, on her back, head or neck rather upon the block, now not wooden, and if I remember correctly, hands were at her sides, palms open, ready to receive.

I tried sleeping like that. Block was first to go, then soon I rolled on my side and went to sleep. Nothing took you see.

New Years day… We rise to steaming bowls bowls of sweetened beans, a reddish brown, like the laquer ware. And mochi, or go mochi, the honorific reserved for sacred stuff. We have our green tea, not the powder used in the tea ceremony, not the Chinese gun powder tea, not the summers moogi cha with bits of toasted rice and barley, no.

We dress in our finest. We have written our prayers to the kami on small slivers of rice paper. We pile in the Jag, end up at a Buddhist shrine, or is it Shinto, in tow with maybe a hundred thousand others.

Moving with the crowd over the ancient curved bridge, I turn and take a picture, my best I think, now. A sea of finery and small white slips trails behind, a river of humanity, come to ask favour and absolution.

Rituals of feet and water ensue, the incense lit, the gong rung, the prayers stated in our hearts and on our paper tokens, and offerings having been deposited, we file out and tie them to relatively unburdened trees. It takes hours.

Here is another interesting thing I learned about Cairo.
The military built an airport around there in WW2 and then abandoned it after the war.
But the residents reported seeing giant planes landing in the middle of the night in the years after 2001. What were these planes doing?
I wonder if it had anything to do with the heroin explosion in this country after the US invaded Afghanistan. All that heroin had to be transported somewhere, and Illinois has the railroads and the rivers and the highways to move it.

When it comes to the human race, I’m certain of two things: i. there are some excellent white folks out there, as well as some excellent non-white folks; and ii. those excellent human beings are so few and far between that all together they don’t have the wit, nor the strength, to tame MMM*.

      kullervo,

don’t lose hope. “those excellent human beings” are not so few… a lifetime on Earth has taught me this… still a misanthropist, kind of, putting my $ where my mouth is and living far and away from the madding crowds, but… but… complete strangers have saved me more than once… I’ve seen acts of kindness… don’t give up!

We all can be the best version of ourselves. Despair is the enemy. Eats us up.

Big Pleasures? La Petit Mort. Is death pain? No, it’s a friend, not to be feared – the natural order of things. She walks next to us. She teaches us how important each day, each hour are.

Being the best version of yourself is all you can do, and it’s good enough. Have hope, my friend! No, not hope… have strength! To smile to the sun and the Earth every day, which is your last day. Every day is your last. Every day is final. And yet you smile. And plant seeds. And move a tortoise away from the road. And make an old woman happy by bringing her flowers. Your best you.

Count me in as one of the few to being prepared (to the extent one can be, that is).
I suggest doing some serious reading:
    Start here: http://www.orthomolecular.org/resources/omnsv17n15.shtml
    Then here:
    http://www.orthomolecular.org/resources/omns/v17n13.shtml

Our medical system was hijacked well over 100 years ago with the replacement of homeopathic medicine with allopathic medicine (treating cause of illness with substances from nature that the body needs versus treating SYMPTOMS with unnatural toxic chemical cocktails that create more health issues).

Illness/disease occurs when the body is lacking what it needs to stay healthy, I.e. vitamins, minerals. With the industrialization of food production, the earth in which our food grows lacks the essential nutrients to pass along into our food. The toxic herbicides like RoundUp add toxins to our food, further exacerbating the health crises we face.

Eat as healthy as you can. Grow organic gardens. Stay away from vaccines and toxins. Supplement your diet with large amounts of vitamin C in addition to D3, zinc, magnesium, B complex, and also take detoxifying elements such as iodine and selenium. Etc etc. And read the other editorials by Thomas Levy and others on orthomolecular.org.

          • Paula D November 5, 2021 at 6:25 pm #

Rulo, Jarek is showing what the white nationalist thing is actually about.
They spend all of their time arguing about IQs among the races, as if only high IQ people deserve a job at a living wage.
Why? Is that a God Rule? Or is it a cutthroat capitalist rule? It didn’t used to be a rule. Manual labor was well paid when it was unionized, no matter how the worker scored on an IQ test.
We all have the same amount of hours in our days. Where is it written that some people’s labor time is worth so much more than other people’s? Where is it written that vast amounts of the population should be unemployed while other people work 80 hour weeks?
That makes no sense. And you would think that religious people, who tell you that God loves all his children the same, would not turn around and tell you that living conditions should depend on the color of your skin or your IQ.

Well once AA is gone, they would sink down to manual labor again – obviously.

In an earlier America, they did attain a small middle class on their own power. But they had their own little America then and that was probably a big factor. In todays America? As even the White middle class is dying? They wouldn’t have a chance in competition against us and the high IQ Asian immigrants, what to speak of Hispanic hordes.

          • MaryMaryFullOfPride November 5, 2021 at 8:01 pm #

@Paula, well said. The IQ argument to me is incredibly weak. Especially when you look at the crew in charge now, and how they are tanking the country. All Yale and Harvard grads, natch.

Why is no one addressing the big brains who never amount to anything? No shortage of those.

I hate the way our culture measures ‘success’ – it’s money based, not happiness based. And it seems to me, plenty of high IQ people are complete messes. I’ve personally known quite a few.

          • MaryMaryFullOfPride November 5, 2021 at 8:07 pm #

And, also, Paula, I am guessing that the white supremacist God does not consider ‘others’ to be ‘His children’. They are lesser. So that’s how they get around thinking of them as fully human, etc.

          • SouthernYankee November 5, 2021 at 10:53 pm #

To Paula below specifically and others who are angry with God because of how He is often misrepresented by the ignoranuses in the world. I am a white male, my wife is a white female (and Southern Baptist) and we both are members of a church here in NC which is about as multicultural as you can find. There are a good number of interracial marriages and offspring including our pastor. We love the people in this church and I really cannot understand where this idea comes from that white is better except perhaps from a deep sense of self hatred. It is not inferior but neither is black. Most importantly, the true God of the Bible, YHWH, does not think so either. And I challenge anyone to prove otherwise by showing me in the BIBLE where it says the God prefers white people and chose them. After all, if white supremacists are correct, then how can they invoke the name of Jesus who was a Jew? Technically a Semite which puts Him closer to an Arab, which they refer to as sand ni***rs. And if they read their Bible even occasionally then they must know the story about the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8. But, pay no attention to those details you ‘ol cracker.

          • Jarek November 5, 2021 at 11:54 pm #

Yeah, the Old Testament is about the struggle for survival of one people, the Jews. In the sense it’s a very awkward fit with Christianity, though there are universal elements in it. Now some bozo Christians want to drag our Religion back to Judaism, and worship a Tribal God of an Alien people. Can delusion get any greater?

I take the opposite approach. If we would keep the Old Testament (beloved Marcion said ditch it), then we use it. We’re the Chosen People now. This was the traditional philosophy of the Church. The Jews forfeited it as a group by rejecting the new Covenant. Of course they can rejoin as individuals (convert).

          • Paula D November 6, 2021 at 1:25 pm #

Southern Yankee, I didn’t mean to include you or your fellow Christians who accept everyone as a child of God.
It is because I know a lot of people like you and yours in real life that I am able to recognize the lack of it in people like Jarek, who profess Christianity, but can’t quite grasp the concept.

          • SouthernYankee November 6, 2021 at 4:33 pm #

Thx Paula D. Jarek, you make a good point. In fact, despite my Jewish friendships and Christian affiliation , I do not support the Apartheid in Israel which never gets addressed for fear of being blacklisted. And having worked among Hasidic Jews for ten years I can attest that their tribalism can sometimes turn my stomach. But fortunately some Jews have seen the Light. Have a nice weekend ya’ll!

Things are what they are regardless of who says them. That’s above your he said/she said paygrade, evidently.

          • MaryMaryFullOfPride November 5, 2021 at 8:03 pm #

One wonders why Jarek doesn’t spend his time with like minds, on white supremacy blogs, since he’s so anti-diversity.

      • Paula D November 5, 2021 at 6:19 pm #

I agree Rulo. One day last year when this CRT was ramping up I had two black friends say almost the same thing, one on Facebook and one in real life. They said ”What does it matter how we got here? We’re all here now. Why can’t we get along?” And I agree.
The criticisms people here are making are actually criticisms of the ghetto culture, and many, many black Americans agree with them. The whole ”pop ’em if you don’t like ’em” thing is unappealing to most people, no matter what color their skin.
But it is the ghetto culture that the Establishment elevates and exaggerates and glorifies.

        • Jarek November 5, 2021 at 7:05 pm #

Talk about a level playing field and taking away their Affirmative Action advantage – and watch them become very uncool very fast.

They know. You don’t. They can’t complete fairly.

          • MaryMaryFullOfPride November 5, 2021 at 7:12 pm #

I’m guessing you have had very little professional office work type jobs in a big city? Because I have years and years of it.

I worked with many many black people and honestly the difference between us was minimal. They were all middle class educated people like me.

            And just as smart.

            They have fooled you, Jarek.

The issue is not race, it’s class.

          • Soul Forensics November 5, 2021 at 7:38 pm #

“The issue is not race, it’s class.”

            It’s both.

And now that the middle-class are sinking into the working- and lower-classes like a bad souffle, class distinctions (outside the 1% of the 1%) are becoming increasingly meaningless. Not so with race.

          • MaryMaryFullOfPride November 5, 2021 at 7:55 pm #

Well you fall for the race-baiting stuff the PTB have engineered you to care about. I don’t, I tend to use some common sense.

          • Jarek November 5, 2021 at 7:57 pm #

You only know – and care to know – about the exceptions to the rule. But logic dictates we know the average first. And you have very little if any experience of regular Blacks. I do.

          • MaryMaryFullOfPride November 5, 2021 at 8:04 pm #

The odds that the 100s or even 1000s of black people I worked with over the years were all ‘exceptions’ is probably a million to one.

            No.

They were normal middle class people, who did their jobs competently and usually with a great attitude.

          • Jarek November 5, 2021 at 11:58 pm #

Oh really! You worked with that many Blacks and never experienced any anti-White racism from any of them? I don’t believe you. You’re just copping an attitude and being oppositional. Just more of what we’ve come to expect from you.

“Well you fall for the race-baiting stuff the PTB have engineered you to care about.” — MaryQ

No, you’re a hypocrite, because you’re doing the same thing you accuse others of doing to you — that is, reading people’s minds.

I’m very dispassionate about this. Most Blacks, just like most people, I meet are moderately pleasant and benign. So what? This isn’t about whose anecdotes trump others’ anecdotes. That’s statistically insignificant, skewed in any number of ways, and frankly, silly. You like to go on about how real science is so important (re Covidian issues). Hard core statistics, measured appropriately, and set to rigorous parameters, able to be falsified, and able to be repeatable: sounds like the scientific method, what?

Use those resources for yourself, then compare and contrast all manner of categories — crime, education, and family stats being three big areas — White vs Black over monumental sample sizes. Then we can have a proper, unemotional discussion.

“The issue is not race, it’s class.”

            MMFP,
No, the issue is culture, not class. Can a poor man be decent? Intelligent? Empathetic? Of course. Can one who embraces the Ghetto Culture be these things? Not so much.,…

            No matter what his class….

          • Paula D November 6, 2021 at 7:10 pm #

What about rich people who embrace the ghetto culture, EF?
It is celebrated by the wealthy and powerful of this country.

            Paula,
Exactly the point., can a rich man lie, steal cheat and kill?

You don’t have to live in a Ghetto to embrace what I call the ghetto culture.

A man goes to Istanbul and brings back a report: “the place is dysfunctional, dirty, derelict and dangerous.”
Another man goes to the same city: the place is “mellow, monumental, magnificent and magical.”
A third comes back with: “Food’s good. Lots of thieves. Beautiful women. Terrible traffic.”

Replace Istanbul with blacks in America. Or anything else, really.

The first visitor is the bigot: his blinders inform his whole view.
The second visitor is the wokie: his blinders inform his whole view.

Both the bigot and the wokie are right – there’s good and bad in Istanbul. But neither has the truth, because they see only one side of the coin, depending on their prejudice. The truth is the whole picture, not just one part of it.

Only the third visitor is both right and true.

To be the third visitor is a lifetime’s work.

Thus the importance of being able to take all the data and form a data set from which to generalize and abstract. Example: The average Black American IQ is 85. That’s knowledge. And from that flows more knowledge: they will never succeed in our society for the most part, completely outclassed intellectually by Whites and other groups. And from that, more knowledge: They should have been sent out of America as Jefferson, Lincoln, et al so greatly desired.

You’re stumbling around in the dark, Rulo….

      • Rulo Deschamps November 5, 2021 at 5:56 pm #

“You’re stumbling around in the dark” – are you not?

“They should have been sent out of America as Jefferson, Lincoln, et al so greatly desired.” – How is pondering about what may or may not have happened helpful to us now?

You are aware that IQ is only one measure of intelligence, right?

You are aware that until relatively recently, places in Britain had signs warning “No blacks, no dogs, no Irish”, right?

Have you thought of the possibility that the rat race of the big cities, diminishing prospects for everybody regardless of IQ, a materialistic, golden Baal culture, technological alienation, and diminishing opportunities and resources bring out the worst in everyone, not just certain groups?

        • Hereward the Woke November 5, 2021 at 6:02 pm #

Agreed, Rulo. We sneer at blacks and then see millions of stupid whites rushing to take the jab. Blacks have enough IQ to realise what’s in the “vaccine”
