I wasn’t being a wise guy. I was alone with him in his office, that’s how it came about,” Biden continued. “It was when President Bush had said, ‘I’ve looked in his eyes and saw his soul.’ I said, ‘I looked in your eyes, and I don’t think you have a soul.’ He looked back and he said, ‘We understand each other.’ ”
— ABC News, Joe Biden with George Stephanopoulos on V. Putin of Russia

Somehow, I don’t think Joe Biden understood what he thought Vladimir Putin understood about what they mutually understood. If I had to guess, I’d say that Mr. Putin understood Joe Biden to be the most pathetic blustering schlemiel he’d ever encountered on the international scene. But that must have been before Mr. B was installed in the White House by powers and persons unseen because it’s evident now that his handlers do not allow him to talk to foreign leaders, not even on the phone. Ms. Harris does that.

The alleged president went on to tell  Mr. Stephanopoulos that Mr. Putin was “a killer” who would “soon pay a price” for interfering in the 2020 election. In turn, Mr. Putin promptly called the Russian ambassador back home “for consultations,” which is generally what happens when one country makes warlike noises to another country.

Mr. Putin added a tantalizing taunt days later, saying. “I’ve just thought of this now. I want to propose to President Biden to continue our discussion, but on the condition that we do it basically live, as it’s called. Without any delays and directly in an open, direct discussion. It seems to me that would be interesting for the people of Russia and for the people of the United States. I don’t want to put this off for long. I want to go to the taiga this weekend to relax a little,” Mr. Putin went on. “So, we could do it tomorrow or Monday. We are ready at any time convenient for the American side.”

Do you suppose Vladimir Putin is having some sport with Mr. Biden, this lightweight even among US politicians, with brain-rot to boot? Pretty soon, the president’s handlers will have to forbid him to open his pie-hole in public altogether. No more one-on-one interviews even with slow-pitch party shills like Mr. Stephanopoulos. They’ll just wheel him into the rose garden periodically like a cigar store Indian for proof-of-life demonstrations and leave the management of the nation… to others.

And how’s that going after a couple of months? Apparently, economic collapse is not enough for the party in charge of things now. They’re strangely compelled to seek every possible opportunity to insult the public’s intelligence while destroying what’s left of American culture. Case in point out of Nancy Pelosi’s Congress: HR1, the so-called “For the People Act,” institutionalizing ballot fraud in US elections. The law would make permanent the Covid-19 emergency mail-in voting system, over-riding whatever each state’s election law says — which makes the act appear patently unconstitutional — plus permitting same-day motor-voter registration of any live body, citizen or not, plus removing all voter ID requirements, and much more to ensure the country is never again threatened by a fair election.

Next up: HR5, the so-called “Equality Act,” institutionalizing the notion that categories of “male” and “female” are mere cultural constructs and must in no way be allowed to order any cultural activity from school to work to leisure. The bill was initially conceived to harden into law President Obama’s EO expanding the Department of Education’s Title IX rules on school sports — which eventuated in “trans women” disrupting girls’ sports. Now, men pretending to be women (and vice-versa) will be allowed to disrupt everything else in American life, especially the civil courts, with frivolous lawsuits.

Also in the pipeline: HR6, the so-called “American Dream and Promise Act,” and its Senate companion, S264, the plain “Dream Act,” that will grant permanent residency and then citizenship to currently “undocumented” people who snuck into the USA as children. The dreams and promises have already been delivered, even before the final passage of any new act, with an unprecedented flood of unaccompanied migrant children crashing the border, as well as a surge of adults fleeing Mexico and Central America. Apparently, the thinking in Washington these days is that we don’t have enough poor people in America, that their lives are not difficult enough. The message couldn’t be clearer to millions outside the United States: by all means, cross the border and we will do nothing about it. And so, with the border reduced to just another cultural construct, Mr. Biden himself took the extraordinary action of telling them on TV, “Don’t Come!” I guess that’ll do the trick.

Do you have any idea how pissed-off a clear majority of the American public will be after a few more months of this?

Jim’s post today inspired me to come up with a couple of new phrases: “cigar store president” and “cigar store Biden”.

    • 100th Avatar March 19, 2021 at 11:12 am #

That’s rather unfair to both the cigar store Indian and the cigar store establishment.

Although, if my memory serves me correctly, the use of the totem had to do with illiteracy in the country.

The symbol meant: tobacco. For non-readers.

I suppose there is a parallel with illiteracy, and ignorance, and Biden voters.

        ” cigar store Indian ”

You are aware that Land O lakes butter removed the Indian woman from the pastoral scene printed on the boxes of butter?

Yes, they got rid of the Indian and kept the land.

How about this one: “No more one-on-one interviews with even slow pitch party shills like Mr. Stephanopolous.”

That about sums up about 3/4 of the entire US media

The great irony for the D’s: the Mexicans seem to be moving their support to Trump-style Republicans. So all those Dreamers might wind up biting them in the ass.

That would be the ultimate irony of this. Black politicians who don’t oppose immigration are out of their minds.

      • Uncle Bob March 19, 2021 at 11:29 am #

Too bad they believe the line of shit they’ve been fed their whole lives that Republicans are racists, Democrats love everybody, and anything trying to prove your identity at the polls is just a way for them Klansman Republicans to take away their votes. Republicans have flaws galore, but the KKK was a Democrat construct.

        • Yohannon March 19, 2021 at 12:02 pm #

And the Democrat Party is still the Party of White Supremacy, right?

I saw Biden in a brief clip saying “don’t come” and then said — “I guess they heard I’m a nice guy” !! Yes, Joe, that’s why they’re pouring into America.

It’s sweet revenge to see them twisting themselves into knots trying to keep them out without looking like the hypocrites they are. A convention center in Dallas is being converted to house hundreds of teenaged boys — no doubt this will be a success and not cost the taxpayers one dime.

        Dr. Tom,
You’ve got a fair understanding of what’s really goin’ on. As a retired teacher in California (30 years), I have to say, to the Democrats: “God tells me he can get me out of this mess, but you’re fucked.”
These elitist, dipshit, silver-spoon fucks have never met a Mexican.
        The thing that bothers me?

        The Democrats are done
‘less they legislate their way to Kingdom come
but dogs hunt…and guns don’t go away
and all misdeeds see judgement day.

Let’s hope they don’t push it that far…

These nuevo American Hispanics are running for the exit from the inferno that is the Democrat Party.

        Dr. Tom,
        Bite them in the ass?

It is not important who votes, but rather who counts the vote.

IF you believe that there were massive, and perhaps decisive irregularities in the last election, and the perps got away with it, there will never again be an honest election in this country.

Sounds like that is the least of the gropers crimes.

meanwhile the race war gets stoked by the media.

A 53 year old White male paraplegic who was recently burned to death by two Black teens in Rochester, New York.
With the wall to wall coverage of the Atlanta murders and hate crimes against Asians DOMINATING THE NEWS COVERAGE NOW but funny when Blacks were attacking Asians, not much coverage or mention of the race of the perps.

        • malthuss March 19, 2021 at 10:38 am #

Juveniles douse white man with flammable liquid, burn him to death just for kicks,

TWO black teens just recently set a mentally ill white man on fire, after breaking into his apartment. he struggled to stay alive for four days in the burn unit of the hospital but died. the usual question was asked in the article that i read as to what would happen if two white teens, poured flammable liquid over a mentally ill black man. most people probably already have an idea of what would happen in that scenario. so, on and on it goes, day after day, as the leftist biden administration and news media continues to only focus on “violent white crime” while it ignores the crime of other cultures.

Amerika is months, perhaps weeks away from either 1) total socio-economic collapse, or 2) succession and CW2. Either way, its not going to be pretty.

Despite msm claims of a roaring ‘economy,’ mainstreet is struggling more and more, and the unemployment rate is soaring, even with the so called ‘openings.’ Shortages are popping up like daisies in the spring (e.g. food, medicine, parts).. The sane public, i.e. most red staters and blue staters outside he psychotic so called ‘cities,’ is totally pissed off and all it will take is a match of some sort.

Lock and load if you still can; o/w hide or emigrate.

@neurodoc – after perusing my usual blogs this morning I told my husband that I felt as if I was living in a very bad movie and the end of our world was unfolding before my very eyes and not in a drawn out fashion. I also told him that I wanted to perform some dramatic artillery displays upon certain perpetrators. I am not an anxious person but every day now I wake up with a feeling of dread in the pit of my gut wondering what farcical nonsense will be trotted out by the liberals. I know that there are those out there braver than I who are willing to light the match against tyranny but I am gaining courage by the day. We have our preps and ammo and bug out location but in the end I don’t think it will really matter. Watched a special forces type movie last night and one of their tag lines was that if you are afraid to lose everything you have already lost everything.

Time to cue up ‘Country Bob and the Blood farmers’.

            Then there’s this:

In Watertown, Ct, 16 year old boy climbs into bedroom window of a female classmate, attacks her with a hatchet. Confronted by her father, he jumped from second story precipice and ran into the woods, which is where police found him.

Madness is stalking the land, carrying a hatchet, a pistol, a five gallon can of gasoline, and matches.

The US left spent the last four years in a prolonged hissy fit, that still continues, but life carried on otherwise. In the case of the disaffected right, let’s see how much drag on the system the half-hearted cooperation of the people who actually produce goods and services, not just pointing their pinky finger for the distribution of such, actually produces, and what results this will produce in a system that has been creaky at best for the past 12 years. I don’t even think the right will need to lift a finger (of their choice) to give it all the ultimate shove, nor should it, when passive resistance will be enough, because it’s going to be the left freaking out hysterically with overblown accusations of “systemic racism” causing all their miseries that will bring this all down. Whether someone leans right or left (as our host did and still certainly does, just not following the hysteria), now is the time to prepare to hold the fort down.
It’s gonna get “real” real quick.

Biden – a life-long politician with a grifter’s crafty intellect, a mediocre imagination, little self awareness, and no sense of irony. Biden calls on Cuomo to resign if sexual harassment allegations are true – now that’s rich. LOL

        • Beryl of Oyl March 19, 2021 at 11:18 am #

This is what I mean about the problems caused by a lack of civics education.

How many Americans believe that there is some sort of obligation for the president or vice president to “call for” anything in this situation?

What they should be “calling for” is an investigation by the DOJ into the nursing home deaths, not just in New York but the other states where they occurred.

New York State Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has done so.

What former AG Barr started was merely a “preliminary inquiry” into whether civil rights laws were broken, and it wasn’t even that, as he allowed Andrew Cuomo to hold on to the records.

Jen Psaki, on the topic, says that the Justice Department is going to “return to’ being an ‘independent’ body, or some such blather, so she could not say whether any investigation would be forthcoming, but the implicit message was don’t expect Joe to get involved.

So we are left with tens of thousands of deaths ignored in the MSM and at the federal level, and lots of noise about a New York State issue, and the victims getting blamed as being a smokescreen for the nursing home deaths.

Has it never occurred to anyone that the harassment claims being a distraction talking point was started by Andrew himself?

Why would he do that, you might ask? Because, if he can keep it going that he should not resign over those claims, because they are “baseless”, and he KNOWS no prosecution is coming over the nursing home (and group home) deaths, it increases his chances of beating the harassment rap.

          Get it?

          • hmuller March 19, 2021 at 11:37 am #

Yes, it’s hard to know what’s real and what’s theater with these types. But if Chris Cuomo turns up on CNN with a noose around his neck put there by some very threatening “Proud Boys” – I’m not buying it.

          • MaryV March 20, 2021 at 8:08 pm #

It occurred to me the second I saw the first accusation. It was within days of the nursing home deaths being exposed.

I downloaded the initial order, I got it from the WayBackMachine after Cuomo had it deleted. This man is evil incarnate.

        • Ishabaka March 19, 2021 at 11:52 am #

Keep in mind, what Tara Reade has accused Biden of is rape, per our Department of Justice’s definition, not mere sexual harassment.

          • Uncle Bob March 19, 2021 at 1:09 pm #

Theyll never acknowledge that crime ever took place, let alone prosecute “the savior who beat that evil orange bastard” for his actions. Given the poor English skills of most Americans, they probably figured “Biden digitally penetrated Reade” meant he got her phone number, no that he fisted her up against a wall.

          • MaryV March 20, 2021 at 8:08 pm #

Yes, and it’s OK when Dems do it.

    • MaryV March 19, 2021 at 12:28 pm #

“It is an electorate to ignorant to see it.’

Except, not sure that “ignorant” is the right word. What is horrifying and also a head-scratcher to me is how TDS has eaten into the brains, or some area of the brains, of otherwise intelligent and sensible people. To some extent, or a great extent, TDS sufferers are still on a “Not Trump” program whereby they are on board with *anything* that they view as Not Trump. They still see Biden as a savior.

Who knew that people are so easily manipulated ! (rhetorical question). I mean, who knew that adults were as easily manipulated as children to do what you want them to do and think what you want them to think? In fact, a lot of children are sharper than today’s Dem electorate in seeing through their parents’ machinations to control them. But after being jerked about in schools and at home with the faux mask mania, their brains may also be getting jangled and their natural sense of direction scrambled.

Question for JK: What is the masking regime in Saratoga Springs, and if there is one, do you adhere?

Pretty heavy down here on Cape Cod, but I don’t wear a mask except to get into a story or the PO. People do stand aside in a very demonstrative fashon when we pass on woodland trails. It is ridiculous

I love the step-aside. Love it. Morons.

          • Beryl of Oyl March 19, 2021 at 11:28 am #

I’m seeing less of the step-aside.

Just this past weekend, I was walking at one of our bike-hike trails, and I saw mostly maskless people, but there were exceptions. One young mother with very small children, and she had masks on her little ones outside in the fresh air.

Did she really think a virus was a bigger threat to them than oxygen deprivation?

Then there was a group of young adults, college age, not in any risk group, all with their faces covered.

Someone suggested to me that maybe they were afraid of being seen by someone who could snitch on them to their school.

A couple of older people who possibly were worried that they were at higher risk due to age.

I did pass another mother with older kids, and I realized what was different after, not that the mother had no mask and neither did her kids, but that what I saw first and noticed without knowing why was the little girl smiling at me.

Children need to smile at, and be smiled at by, other people.

Not allowing that is doing far worse damage than any virus.

Good point. The media and parents who buy into it have terrified their children, possibly causing permanent damage.

Small children often say hi to people they’re not supposed to say hi to – such as deplorables like me. I say hi back, ignoring their parents. They have no need to worry. The children will learn who to hate as a natural part of their development.

          • Not_GeorgeT March 19, 2021 at 4:03 pm #

“Did she really think a virus was a bigger threat to them than oxygen deprivation?” is a good question. What might be problematic for the person trying to form an answer is “oxygen deprivation” has never been mentioned on the television offerings she chooses to watch, and turning off the television is likely a non-starter.

“Who knew that people are so easily manipulated ! (rhetorical question).”

They may not have known initially how simple this would be in America but soon found out. A friend — college educated — refuses to believe that the whole Russia – Trump – asset nonsense was a conspiracy theory hammered away by the media. It made no difference to her that the Mueller report found no evidence of a conspiracy to steal the election from Clinton for Trump.

It’s hopeless, I’m convinced. Harris will be President, HR1 will disenfranchise us by flooding elections with fraudulent ballots and lockdowns will be called at will. I saw yesterday where Fauci said there could be a “fourth wave”.

Fauci is such a fraud! He is a true government employee. Can’t keep a story straight. I hope he goes into the dustbin of history with his four masks.

          • emme March 20, 2021 at 8:58 am #

CNN has been really banging the 4th wave drum. Wondering if they know something we don’t.

I am truly grateful to be in a state that ended the state wide lockdown last May, and has never imposed a mask mandate: Missouri. Gov Parsons left it up to cities and counties to determine what was needed locally. All the cities have restrictions; rural areas less so, outside of retailers like Walmart that “require” them nationwide.

Around here, that means donning the mask to get in the store. Many people, including the employees move the damn things below their nose unless they are in a crowded area.

My city still has occupancy and gathering restrictions, but we have had indoor dining at 50% occupancy since last a June.

Parsons is a rather staid fellow, lacking the looks and TV charisma DeSantis has, but he has done as good of a job in terms of the state’s response to the corona circus.

The managerial class & their followers in contemporary America are not “otherwise intelligent and sensible people.” They’re just not. They are pampered idiots out of touch with reality. The clownshow economy, the kabuki financial markets, the big players on the geopolitical world stage & the suppressed wrath of our own incoherent factionalism, are going to teach this class of fools a set of humbling lessons very soon.

Islander, as a teacher for 30 years–though having no children of my own–I feel like I got a handle on this terrible phase of life called adolescence. There is a wide spectrum of intelligence among those wanna-be-wily creatures; some are.
But most are like two-year olds; e.g., “Don’t eat anything that comes out of the dog’s ass.” Hour later. Hospital register ringing, totaling up the bill.
It’s…it’s…uh…what’s a word that means something that is incomprehensible squared? These Congresschildren are less capable than my 2-year-old, who, daily, figures out where I hid the M&Ms. How did we elect the dumbest people, out of hundreds of millions of potential candidates, the rare few cant-idates to office!
I have this recurring nightmare. I’ve been elected to the House, and I’ve been assigned to the committee on Intelligence and Alien Invasions. First meeting: Twelve of us, sitting in the twelve chairs around a circular wooden table–maybe oak or something else–that accommodates 12 chairs. A girl walks in wearing a cheerleader suit; she places a small brown bag on the table and uses a hockey stick to position in the very center of the table. She walks out. The other eleven stare at the bag with supreme intensity, as I look for the nearest available escape route using my peripheral vision…

Freud’s nephew, Edward Bernays, is credited with discovering just how easily people could be manipulated. Psychologist have been refining his techniques for quite a while now. What started with advertising has morphed into mind control. It’s hardly surprising that people who don’t protect themselves from main stream media are unable to distinguish reality from fantasy or grasp what is in their own best interests. Most of what I hear on CNN seems carefully scripted. The connotation of their word choices is telling, for instance, calling a fairly nonviolent demonstration in DC an insurrection. Simple extrapolation ought to put a glaring light on what is going on in this country, but most seem incapable of considering the coming consequences.

          • Islander March 19, 2021 at 3:09 pm #

Yes, if you watch the MSM (and that of course now includes the deluding NYT), you are subjected to a constant bath of implications, weird word choices, even the funny little expressions of the presenters that bury with a flick of the nostril or a funny little “who’da thunk it” shrug of the shoulders any idea that strays away from the agenda.

          • Night Owl March 19, 2021 at 5:12 pm #

“It is an electorate to [sic] ignorant to see it.’

I didn’t like Trump one bit, and am not a Biden fan either. Both in their own ways are very much yesterday’s men, and both had “accidental” election victories. Both were very lucky, and both have been rewarded with the top prize without really warranting it.

There weakness are pretty clear, and their mis-steps result from bad advice and general incompetence. There are millions of Americans who could do better at the job – with more honesty, insight, and compassion.

However, I am a big fan of democracy, even if it doesn’t deliver the result that you personally want.

I think it’s pretty shameful to state that we have “an electorate to [sic[ ignorant to see it” if they vote Biden, or that the have “TDS” (the lamest of tired old slurs) if they vote Democrat.

That’s the whole point – millions upon millions of Americans would have voted for that cigar-store indian, in order to ensure Trump was a one-termer … the man was intensely disliked by a somewhat larger percentage than those who worshipped him.

Joe Biden didn’t really win on a tidal-wave of popular support – Trump lost it because he was seen as a very bad president.

That’s how it works – and slagging the electorate for not voting the way you want is just … well … sour-grapes territory.

But realistically – both parties need to sweep away all the geriatric boomers – not leave it to the boomers themselves to decide when they will go on their own accord. Because they never do.

And look at Ruth Bader Ginsburg … she should have retired during Obama’s last term – but they never do.

For myself and millions of others, Trump represents the outsider willing to take on issues no one else in politics dared to touch, things that critically need addressing. How imperfectly he may have done the job isn’t the issue; it’s the fact he took it on to any extent that garnered him strong support.

this fries the area of the brain right behind the eyes. we are surrounded.\

I’ve discovered a fun new tactic for the pathway Morons. Just walk toward them with a friendly smile on your face. Depending upon their personal interpretation of “six feet” their heads will explode and they will often run screaming off toward the horizon.

My favorite was a small shop owner whom I encountered cowering behind a series of 1/4″ plastic shields while wearing two masks. Before the entry door was closed he began demanding that I go outside and put on a mask. When I reached the 6′ tape line on his floor he completely lost it and began screaming and whimpering at the top of his voice, demanding that I leave immediately.

I wished him a happy heart attack as I left.

I see that Florida governor Ron DeSantis has put together a plan for making sure Florida students receive quality instruction in Civics as part of their education.

We have more that one generation now who simply have no idea how elections are supposed to work.

President Trump made a clumsy attempt at fixing this, when he called for a more patriotic curriculum, and he was sneered at by your NeverTrump type “conservatives”, but the problem was he picked a real lemon of an Education secretary and never bothered to pick again, even as he must have realized she wasn’t doing squat.

I’m not sure why, but the idea of a federal education department having any power depends on who is in office as president, and Bush or Obama deciding what should happen in our schools was okay with both parties, at least Republicans didn’t object much, but with Trump, he was supposed to stay out of it.

I’n not sure why we have a federal department, maybe Carter thought there were inequalities in some states, which there probably were, but that didn’t need a whole federal bureaucracy to rectify.

    • Islander March 19, 2021 at 10:41 am #

I sure wish Trump had listened to me!
I suggested right after the 2016 election that he set up an election commission to ensure transparent, fair elections—mainly, to impose paper ballot voting and stringent IDs. To get things in place before the next election . . . Even if he had tried and failed, those objecting would have had some explaining to do.

At least some of the legal cases that were started post-election seem to be wending their way through the courts and bringing a few positive rulings regarding the slam-dunk “fairest election ever” BS.

Too little, too late. But it might show that there is still sentience in the court system.

Both of these are horseradish. I have said countless times that I did not like Trump and I have very little time for Biden – both too old, too fossilized, covered in baggage – and standing in the way of younger, smarter people.

But what I DO believe in that neither of you seem to have much time for is “democracy”. If you do not like the Democratic Party agenda, then get good candidates, get good policies, and get out the vote.

If you do not believe in that process, then Putin or some other tin-pot dictator will welcome you.

The democratic agenda matters to my mind … I wish people would stop whinging about woulda coulda shoulda.

The laws and technology are here to ensure there is never again a free election in the USA. You can’t see that. So be it.

          • MaryV March 20, 2021 at 2:24 pm #

You don’t understand, and apparently cannot.

We don’t have fair elections. We have oligarchs and billionaires buying seats. We have unelected billionaires in silicon valley controlling our speech and making up their own laws.

Both parties consist of these people, but most are running the Dem party machine.

There is no input from you or me and there can’t be. Because the system is controlled by billionaires and their banker owners.

This is right out in the open.

ALEC makes our laws. How is it possible anyone doesn’t know this?

          • hmuller March 20, 2021 at 7:13 pm #

            MaryV, Very well put.

Tekapo may be incredibly naive, living in “Leave it to Beaver” land where American freedom and justice triumph by the end of every episode.

Is it not a Frank Capra world where the wealthy bad guys like Old Man Potter lose in the end to all us mobilized little people? By golly, we have ballot boxes! We have democracy! No one can take that away from us! The deep state trembles before the power of all us ordinary people, (disregard that laughter you hear).

Either Tekapo is an utterly naive dolt, or a cynic, mocking us with these dinosaur bones of a once free society – ballot boxes, indeed!

          • MaryV March 20, 2021 at 8:42 pm #

Yes, hmuller, I agree: Either very naive or just playing, and therefore a troll.

There’s definitely the DS, but I’m not convinced Trump, for all his good work over the last 4 years, is still in the game. His views on taking the vaccine were totally out of order. Maybe it’s best for him to remain on the side lines, sniping on social media, while others come to the fore. In general, the Right seems to be afflicted by three illusions at present that are hamstringing any effort to fight back against this evil: The Q “Trust the Plan/Trump is still POTUS garbage”, the religious conservative “God’s in Control” garbage and the “We’ll Win it all back in 2024 because voting still counts” garbage. We have to shed these three delusion before we can make any progress. The reality is as like what Warhol says about his paintings: what you see is what it is; there is no deeper meaning. The evil DS is in control and is destroying the US in any way it can and as fast as it can. Only when Americans accept that reality can we start to fight back.

DT still lives rent free in every IDPol Democrat brain. It’s amazing!

The second the video of Biden falling up the stairs on AF1 came out, they all started whinging “Trump tripped tooooooo!”

these people don’t have a thought that doesn’t have Trump involved in it in some way. I’d say that that means he wins.

      • Tekapo March 20, 2021 at 5:21 am #

Right now, there are no parties. There is the Deep State and there is Trump’s crew.

My goodness – another true believer … that Trump is the Great Write Hope and the only politician in all America who can walk on water.

Come on man … just another grifter … in it for the $$$. Not sayin’ he was worse than Biden, but no better.

        • MaryV March 20, 2021 at 2:27 pm #

True believers are those stuck in a cult, as you are. Projection noted.

Hi Beryl of Oyl…thanks for crediting our governor DeSantis. We just established Gulf Coast Patriots in Gulf Breeze Florida this week and as our first official act we are handing out 500 copies of the little red book of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence to our high schoolers. It only costs 44¢ each when you buy a box of 100 from the National Center on Constitutional Studies.

MAGA hats should also be handed out to the arriving migrants along with republican party registration cards. (That’ll make Biden shut the borders tight.)

      • MaryV March 19, 2021 at 12:35 pm #

Get those constitutions to the kids before the antiracism/trans agenda indoctrination arrives as it’s doing in higher learning in the coastal blue states!

      • Blackbird March 19, 2021 at 3:25 pm #

Are you allowed to hand out the Constitution and Declaration of Independence at the schools, or does it have to be done surreptitiously?

    • farmgal March 19, 2021 at 1:28 pm #

My daughter texted me an email from her 15 year-old’s school counselor. They were discussing his upcoming curriculum for 10th grade and my daughter asked some questions about foreign language requirements. She was immediately chastised by the counselor who stated that the term “foreign” language was no longer used as it was considered politically incorrect. My God these people have lost their minds.

      • Tekapo March 20, 2021 at 5:31 am #

Well … obviously Spanish is not a “foreign” language – millions of Americans use it as a first language.

But it doesn’t require chastisement at the school counsellor level – or any level. That is ridiculous. All it takes is to point out that the preferred term in the school is “second language” or “language other than English”, or whatever.

Political correctness used as a weapon or term of abuse is highly counter-productive.

        • hmuller March 20, 2021 at 11:35 am #

Well…obviously Vietnamese is not a “foreign” language – hundreds of thousands of Americans use it as a first language.

One could also say the same about dozens of other languages. Apparently, in your book the bar is very high for anything being classified as “foreign” (which by the way, I consider a descriptive not negative label).

You really don’t see it, do you? In thousands a little ways the wokesters and identity politics crowd are trying to disunite this country and turn people against one another. Divide, conquer, enslave – that’s their agenda. Wake up and smell the coffee.

        President DeSantis sounds pretty good.

        • Ron Anselmo March 20, 2021 at 9:15 pm #

BRH – hate to sound selfish, but as states are gaining more individual power, as a native Floridian, and I’m sure I speak for many others – I’d rather see “Heavy D” stay on as a strong governor of Florida for a few terms, at least until Florida is rid of Blue Cancer. Most tumors are localized in South Florida and “University” counties, such as Leon County (FSU) and Alachua County (UF).

A sobering thought that still wakes me some nights, is that even with Trump’s push for DeSantis (probably his most loyal disciple), he only won Florida by less than 1%. His opponent Andrew Gillum (D), African-American mayor of Tallahassee – at time of the election, was under investigation for corruption, as well as having been arrested in a South Beach (Miami) hotel room after having passed out during a meth fueled party with gay male escorts.

Gillum would be a perfect fit for governor of NY, CA, MI, MN or GA, but Florida, not so much. We’ll keep DeSantis.

Never thought I’d say this, but I’m in love with a man. Love DeSantis more & more every day. If he runs for president I’ll be heartbroken.

I notice that more and more evidence of violations of election laws and procedures in various states has been coming out.

People were getting kicked off Twitter for making claims of election fraud, including the President of the United States.

The msm kept repeating the “baseless” line, without actually investigating far enough to see if there was a basis for the claims.

Even some Republican politicians repeated the “without any evidence” charge, even though they knew that the problem wasn’t “no evidence” it was that no court would look a the evidence, nor would any other investigative body.

No one is retracting any of that.

      • Ron Anselmo March 19, 2021 at 11:39 am #

You are correct in that the Left has entirely ruined the nation in return for power. In my opinion, though, it is like having a knife fight to see who will rule over Flint, MI. Who would want that basket-case of a disaster?

Some of us have studied history. Some of us have spent time in corrupt 3rd world nations. Some of us know how to profit from all of this.

That’s right, I can’t change what is happening in D.C. but I can most certainly buy the treasures of Biden voters for pennies on the dollar. When the evictions begin in earnest, they’ll pay me to haul away their possessions.

I can also use this time to prepare for the war that is coming. I can tell you this: one side is stocked up and ready to go while the other side, um, not so much.

Great comment and points. I’d only disagree with one, that we had fair elections before this year. I’ve been studying the fraud and rigging since the ‘aughts.

I don’t know if the US ever had actual free and fair elections. It just got more exposed and covered this year (a good thing). But if you notice, nothing really changed.

      • Blackbird March 19, 2021 at 12:49 pm #

I’d say the only real change is that the fraud gets more blatant with each election. I think that’s intentional, in order to condition us to accept fake elections. It seems to be working.

        • MaryV March 19, 2021 at 8:24 pm #

Yes, that is apparent. They want it obvious they are rigged, and then normalize us to it. Meanwhile, like people do with the COVID restrictions, we go through the Hokie Pokie motions like a bunch of fucking idiots.

      • Night Owl March 19, 2021 at 5:18 pm #

Yep. The level of fraud in this election was off the charts though. They learned from Cankles’s loss.

It was not enough to just have the media making bullshit predictions, they needed to rig it on a level that allowed them to handle any surprises in real time.

        • MaryV March 19, 2021 at 8:27 pm #

I am still not happened in 2016.

If Trump is controlled opposition, then that election was just as rigged if not more.

But Trump commanded huge rallies and crowds, so just from that one can deduce he probably won both times. I mean, if you can’t fill a broom closet, how do you win an election?

In 2016, people recorded watching the numbers on TV switch in real time, the Diebold machines were used then, etc.

I think they were going to just announce Clinton winner regardless of outcome like they did in the primaries, but Trump won by too much? But if I go with controlled opposition, they made sure he got in there.

          • Night Owl March 20, 2021 at 5:36 pm #

I think he won by too much. They were not expecting it. I still remember the shocked announcement that they were going to cancel Hilldawg’s fireworks. I knew it was over at that point, and that was a good while before they announced it.

She couldn’t even do the concession speech. She had to send John “Pedo” Podesta out to give it. That shit was very real.

They went all out in 2020. POTATUS let the truth slip when he said they had created the most extensive voter fraud machine in history. His dementia has been very beneficial to us on a number of occasions.

And yes, POTATUS did admit it! I don’t think it was a slip either – he just blurted out the truth, as is his tendency. I can’t figure out why they made him head puppet, what with the explosive temper and chancy admissions.

Biden flat-out called Harris President Harris yesterday and didn’t even flinch and correct himself.

When he had a quick stop in Pennsylvania the other day twelve people showed up! Such support! The throngs!

Even before the election neither Biden nor Harris could manage to get 20 people at an event.

I realize this is anecdotal, but it kinds of shows me the difference in “support” between Trump and Biden.

Perhaps, in the hopes of avoiding an all-out real war, both sides will agree to divide the country up. It’s been suggested that we give the west coast to the Leftists and build a wall around it (or something similar). The problem I see with that suggestion is that it assumes “we” have the power to give and to build. What if it’s them that have that power? If the Leftists (not all of them, but the radical ones) have their way, they’d push us onto reservations in the desert, the mountains, and the swamps. They’d do all they could to make us dependent on them for food production, for clean water and power, for manufactured goods. They’d turn us into peasants and serfs.

I’m not willing to give up this country. I’m not moving to Russia* or Australia. Forget about my ancestry – I was born here, this is my native land. I am a Native American. I’m not leaving.

It’s mysterious to me that a few years ago power was more balanced between the parties. Yet now somehow the Left suddenly has all this power, and the Right is weak. Because of a fraudulent election? No, they already had the power, or they wouldn’t have been able to pull off a fraudulent election. How’d they seize power, and how do we stop them?

I wish the Right would articulate a coherent plan for our future existence, a plan that firmly upholds our non-negotiable values of liberty, not a plan that compromises everything we hold dear. If the sides cannot be reconciled, so be it.

*Maybe we could make a deal with Putin to massively increase immigration from Russia. On the other hand, would communists be help to us just because they’re white?

      • Uncle Bob March 19, 2021 at 12:21 pm #

I suspect the answer is that we’ve walked away from our espoused traditions and history. While the Right tried to hold onto those things via a generally secular method, the Left violently embraced secularism and a desire to undo everything good that America ever did or was. Since Washington and the First Congress promised God that this country would follow His ways, but should be destroyed if we ever fell away, the Left’s pursuit of (essentially) selfish and downright evil things while ridiculing and trying to destroy anything holy probably got the attention of evil spirits who have helped them in their efforts. Also, dont forget that a lot of financiers hate America and would do anything to destroy us. The thing we should fear isn’t the Vatican, as some suggest; no, we should fear the vengeance of God against people who say they’re his but who almost purposely oppose Him. If He was willing to destroy Israel and Judah, his actual chosen people, He probably has little compunction about annihilating us if we dont pull our heads out of our asses.

No, you fell for the Republican scam. They’re totally on board with the Agenda, they just lag behind a few decades to people think they’re “conservatives” who are resisting. But they follow meekly enough if look at the record over the generations.

Half are bad? No, all but six or so are.

      • MaryV March 19, 2021 at 12:42 pm #

Yes. THey never lost power after Obama.

But I call it the uniparty, because there is no opposition, really. It’s one party sucking in all the others. They now have most of the anti-Trump right, supporting them.

I believe Trump is there to keep the illusion of 2 sides, since people were waking up to the fact both parties essentially want the same thing: Corporate rule.

        • Blackbird March 19, 2021 at 12:57 pm #

I see Trump playing the Judas Goat role on the right that Bernie Sanders plays on the left, herding the discontents back to the Party. The fact that most of the sheep seem to like having the wool pulled over their eyes makes the dog’s job easier.

            Yup. That’s it exactly.

      • abbybwood March 19, 2021 at 12:48 pm #

How did the Democrats seize power?

Criminal fraud involving Jill Biden and the DNC as they foisted Joe on the American people knowing he was mentally incompetent. If he couldn’t legally sign a notarized mortgage application a year ago because he didn’t know the date or where he was or where he was going next or his address’s etc., (how many personal numbers can any of you rattle off in a minute?), then they all knew he would not be competent to sign 40 different Executive Orders which would impact millions of lives and place the country into a National Security nightmare.

The Democrats seized power by controlling big tech and having the power to tell the MSM what they could and could not discuss (no Hunter Biden laptop coverage detailing Joe Biden as “The Big Guy” in criminal international financing shenanigans).

And lastly the convenient Covid scare gave the Democrats their national mail-in voting scam so they could do their harvesting, no signature verifications etc. A polar opposite from an election four years ago.

I probably left some things out. Feel free to add to the list.

        • MaryV March 20, 2021 at 2:40 pm #

They also used Bernie Sanders to sucker in the progressive lefties, and then this same sheepdogger refused to endorse actual progressive candidates, instead, backing the establishment… but it still keeps many lefties from leaving the party, because they think some day Bernie will save us all. I

      • Hereward the Woke March 19, 2021 at 3:55 pm #

Two points: “both sides will agree”. We are way past any chance of agreement on any issue whatsoever. We can’t even agree about what reality is – in fact, the Left denies reality even exists. Any separation will involve bloodshed. As for why the “Right” has lost so much power: as we have learnt since Nov 3, most of “Right” was in fact the “Left”. 90% of the GOP are traitors, cowards and psychopaths, or all three. There is no longer a Left and a Right; just those who want to destroy America and those who want to save it. The only chance of saving America or some part of it is some kind of completely new phenomenon: maybe succession by a few originalist states, or maybe a rebellion by the majority of normies. Whatever happens, none of this will be sorted by voting, Q, Jesus or the soy boys in camo.

        • MaryV March 20, 2021 at 2:42 pm #

You are correct. As displayed over and over again up here with Tekapo’s comments, the left does not have any beliefs based in reality at this point. The TV has told them what reality is, and they bought it.

Men can become women simply by wanting it to be so. Presidents are elected, not selected. Don’t believe your lying eyes. Everything everyone says is racist. Words all have new meanings that we’ve assigned to them. Books that you don’t like are literal violence. You are literally erasing a person by ‘misgendering’ them. Politicians and celebrities love you and are in this together with you. Covid19 has killed 500K people. Masks are healthy. I could go on and on.

    • Yohannon March 19, 2021 at 12:25 pm #

And you would take us back to the Way of Life that lead to this. Capitalism leads to vast inequalities, that leads to communism. It’s just that simple. One extreme breeds another. You refuse to see as did you generations. So here we are.

Control the extremes. Lessen the pendulum swings. Not as many ruthless grifters would get rich beyond all dreams of avarice – and that’s unbearable to you people.

Bezos and Gates are the American dream, right? And they’re total scumbags, right?

So wtf are you talking about? Do you have any idea?

      • Tate March 19, 2021 at 1:01 pm #

The octogenarians who show up here with their eyes suddenly opened in a permanent squint have no idea how deep the rot is. There’s not going to be any “coherent plan for our future existence” as one commenter plaintively asks above.

      • Uncle Bob March 19, 2021 at 1:19 pm #

Theyll never acknowledge that crime ever took place, let alone prosecute “the savior who beat that evil orange bastard” for his actions. Given the poor English skills of most Americans, they probably figured “Biden digitally penetrated Reade” meant he got her phone number, no that he fisted her up against a wall.

      • Uncle Bob March 19, 2021 at 1:25 pm #

Bezos and Soros and Gates and Steyer and the rest are NOT the American Dream. The American Dream isn’t a white Cape Cod with a picket fence, nor is it unrestricted, borderline criminal business practices that enable a few well-connected dirtbags to take over everything. It’s the dream of living in peace with other people without fear that a dirtbag or a government will destroy your life just because they can. It’s also the ability to find your way in this world without harming others. The idea has been bastardized over time due to humanity’s greed and selfishness, and because of a few Norman Rockwell paintings that appealed to our collective nostalgia. So, in short, stick your hammer and sickle back under your bed, tovarisch.

        • Yohannon March 19, 2021 at 1:58 pm #

Well said. So how do you deal with the Super Predators who would destroy this vision?

          • JohnAZ March 19, 2021 at 3:36 pm #

            Uncle Bob, Yohannon

            Good discussion.

Here is the real deal. If capitalism, free wheeling was practiced, then the consolidation of capital would nor happen. Government is at fault for the failure of capitalism. How? By giving tax breaks to their friends and penalizing others. What is missing in the US right now is the middle level business, nipping at the heels of the big boys and tearing them down as they come up with faster reaction times and better ideas. Competition in capitalism should be vertical as well as horizontal.

Government control of an economy leads to stasis and eventually collapse. Too much favoritism and nepotism. All the small companies should get their chance to succeed, and grow into corporations and thus put the old corporations out of business.

The Deep State is owned by the lobbyist representatives of the corporations. In the US it is too late. Small business had a gigantic surge under Trump. The socialists want this surge wiped out to stop the growth of competition against the corporations supporting the government.

Two things to do if someone is serious. Keep the damn government out of small business, stop the lobbying of the corporations. A third might be to ensure the tax impact on all levels of business formation is the same.

            Stop the favoritism!

          • Yohannon March 19, 2021 at 4:41 pm #

Uh, yes it would because the Predators are Winners and don’t play by the rules. The discipline of Capitalism is for the nice guys, the losers, the people who believe in competition and fair play.

As Marx said, they attain class consciousness first. And to go beyond Marx, if allowed to, they will use the poor against the middle class and sweep the whole board. I’m hardly the first to see this. The John Birch Society talked about this generations ago.

We need referees, John. People who are outside the game and insure it’s fair and believe it or not – in the interests of the nation. This is beyond the scope of American Capitalism. Once America was a bit more than Capitalism, and could even had anti-trust laws. But of course things like that or tariffs are now met with screams of Communism, etc. It has been that way for a very long time.

So yes, once America did show a bit of promise, but it was stamped out. I’m afraid FDR was in with nascent Globalists, so I can’t quote him or his people. The old Liberal Democrats are probably closest to my pov, and they are long gone.

          • Soul Forensics March 19, 2021 at 5:54 pm #

            Good post, Yo.

Unfortunately, your hope of impartial “referees” is also highly unlikely. The old question remains: who’s watching the watchers? And ad infinitum.

In the end, it’s a spiritual problem. And there’s no legislating that.

          • Yohannon March 19, 2021 at 10:43 pm #

Thus the new dispensation of National Socialism – a philosophy of Man not matter like Capitalism/Communism, and one that goes beyond Fascism in its connection to Nature not just the traditions of the nation, worthy though they may be.

Icons of the Hero were sold in Indian markets during WW2. Millions there fervently hoped for his victory.

          • Tekapo March 20, 2021 at 5:54 am #

We are in furious agreement JAZ … I have said similar things forever it seems.

The enemy of the people is not Biden or Trump, or Dems or the GOP, or even the “Deep State” or Big Tech.

The enemy is capitalism itself … the sucking up of all wealth by the few, and funding politicians to legally legitimize the theft.

          • hmuller March 20, 2021 at 7:28 pm #

So. Tekapo proudly waves his Communist flag before us.

Capitalism properly practiced is the greatest creator of wealth ever seen on earth. But we don’t have it. We have a kleptocracy of billionaire elitists who use their control of government to prevent capitalism and promote monopolies controlled by THEM.

Private bankers having a license to create money – they are the spiders at the center of this control web.

I mentioned in an earlier comment that I watched “Acts of Valor” last night. It’s about special operations in other countries involving the CIA and Navy SEALS. I know that it was intended to make the viewer proud of the job the military was doing, but the one thing I took away from it was that America has been so damn busy sticking its nose into every other country’s business it has totally ignored America herself. I was a child when Eisenhower was in office but it seems to me that after that time America sort of lost her virginity and became the world’s whore. Declining moral and family values, declining infrastructure, welfare states….America should have been looking after own. Think of the billions, no trillions of dollars that have been spent worldwide in an effort to eradicate “communism” and bring “democracy” to other countries. And now America’s chickens have come home to roost. I used to think I would not be alive to see the end of America but now I am not so sure.

      • So many liars March 19, 2021 at 1:59 pm #

Eradicating communism and bringing democracy is, at least in part, an educational process, a matter of teaching people correct thinking, understanding what is truth.

What a shame that we failed so miserably at teaching our own people how to think.

        • Blackbird March 19, 2021 at 3:29 pm #

Your tall long-haired skinny white dude, which you call God-Christ, is a blatant copy of idolatrous Greek demigod statues, and is an invention of Roman scriptures. So is your Roman anti-Christ and Roman Vatican.

Rabbi Tovia Singer produced plenty of videos to set youz Vatican idiots straight. I’ll refer you to him:

That is why Putin suggested it [twinkle eyes Putin].

I hope he suggests it again, this time addressed directly to Joe Biden on national TV: “Hi, Joe—I love that name! You can call me Vlad. We need to talk! Let’s get together very soon for a chat. I have excellent translators on my personal staff. Talk to you soon, I hope!”

Khrushchev (may he rest in peace) didn’t shy away from going face to face with Nixon in I think it was 1971.

Khrushchev survived Stalin and the death of Stalin to come out on top—even managing to maneuver Stalin’s main henchman, the monstrous Lavrenty Beria, out of the way. I have no doubt that we have a similar “long knives” situ in DC at the current time. But we are even more unable to figure out who is on top than did Soviet citizens. For sure some faction has solidified behind Biden and plans to run the show from now on, but who, exactly, is in this Politburo?

Picture this – the conversation starts. The whole world is watching. Putin plays it straight, and goes easy on Joe until the inevitable incoherent Biden Alzheimer’s outburst – then Putin just looks at the camera and smiles. Checkmate!

I love watching Putin address an audience. Cool, calm, no doublespeak and a wicked sense of humour. I can imagine the subtle smirk and glint in his eye as hologram Joe fell apart.

The four-part Oliver Stone interview was compelling. Essential viewing for his thoughts on Ukraine, homosexuality and many other topics that don’t fit the CNN/BBC narrative.

          • Islander March 19, 2021 at 12:23 pm #

Putin is very, very smart and very, very articulate.
The guy can think on his feet and lob any question outside the ball field with the breadth of his knowledge, seriousness, grasp of the relevant facts, such as statistics and/or wording of recent legislation or administrative rules, etc. The guy is a walking encyclopedia.

I love it when he takes questions from journalists and others such as social workers or engineers, etc., from the far-flung regions. When they bring up issues such as the lack of resources they suffer regarding support for the elderly, or pregnant women, or some other problem they need more resources to deal with effectively, Putin says: “I need to know more about this. Please put together a report and bring it to my staff.”

And you know that a staff member has noted this and there will be follow-up.

          • Yohannon March 19, 2021 at 12:48 pm #

He hates Whites who want their own nations. Thus he hates Poland, Hungary, etc – and White Nationalist Russians. He uses his gifts for evil in other words.

White Nationalist fought for the Globalists in Ukraine. What a tragedy this man has caused.

I love when Putin does his giant five table press conference for hours until the last reporter leaves.

I especially love it when he gets into debates with foreign correspondents.

Biden wouldn’t last two minutes without his notecards and TelePrompTer (and someone whispering into his earbuds).

He’d end up calling all of the reporters Dog-faced Pony Soldiers and Putin Puppets until his minders would be forced to call it off.

You could have said much the same about Harold Shipman.

I love it when he takes questions from journalists and others such as social workers or engineers, etc., from the far-flung regions. Does the follow-up ever include basic questions about living in a kleptocracy, with himself as Kleptocrat-in-Chief? How many hundreds of billions of dollars is he sitting on while 13% of his countrymen live in dire poverty?

Just because Realpolitik dictates that you/we have to be nice to him doesn’t mean you have to fall for the schtick.

He feels entitled to it all, of course, because he is Russia. No personality issues there at all, no …

When I see him kissing icons inside an Orthodox church I feel like I’m looking at Michael Corleone in the baptism scene.

“Mr Ed could wipe the floor with Joe Biden.” – GA

I assume you’re talking about the horse, not some British politician fondly called “Mr Ed”.

I nostalgically remember that show. Did they broadcast it in the UK? Someone once pointed out that the TV cameras never showed Mr Ed’s “stallion parts”. But how could they on 1960’s television? But he admired the neighborhood mares, have no doubt about that.

They used to smear peanut butter on Mr Ed’s lips to make his remarks appear more realistic Would that such a trick could make Mr Biden more coherent.

Lately, he’s been calling His VP – “President Harris”. Did something happen behind closed doors we don’t know about?

          • GreenAlba March 20, 2021 at 12:03 pm #

Yes, I meant the horse, and yes, we got it on UK TV (along with Green Acres and Lassie).

I really can’t find words for the tragi-comedy that is the Biden arrangement. I was going to say the Biden-Harris arrangement, but with Harris it moves away from anything even vaguely comedic into the underbelly of all Machiavellian underbellies. Well, that’s obviously hyperbole and an unjustified superlative, but still.

Perhaps Mr Biden could be gainfully employed just standing being himself in one of Mme Tussaud’s museums. He could move every now and then to freak people out.

          • Slugoon March 20, 2021 at 3:16 pm #

Ah come on, GA. That wasn’t up to your usual standard of well-reasoned argument, just the same old trope peddled by the West that ‘Putin is the bogeyman’.

When I was in Russia I was told they have a saying that goes along the lines of “if you’re not suffering, you’re not living.” What that translates to in practical terms is a stoic nation that doesn’t suffer all the woke bullshit that we in the West have to, doesn’t expect an easy life to be handed to them on a plate and doesn’t spend every hour of every day engaged in trivial race-baiting and identity politics.

They have a fairly homogenous nation with a strong sense of identity and shared culture, all glued together by a supremely capable leader, and with the exception of Afghanistan in the 80s they don’t go around the world creating one failed state after another. (No, Ukraine does not count.)

I think they have lot to be jealous of and I can’t work out why we don’t want good relations with them. I don’t get the anti-Putin/anti-Russia thing, I really don’t.

          • GreenAlba March 20, 2021 at 6:15 pm #

And that wasn’t up to your usual standard, Slugoon.

Bits of it are worthy of Janos. Cultural relations between Scots and Russians are very strong and have been for a very long time.

i don’t see why that means I have to respect Putin. I’m well aware of his er … competence. Like I said, Harold Shipman was extremely competent, was an excellent doctor, a real charmer, and all his elderly patients loved him and couldn’t get enough of him. But he was a psychopath and killed them.

Estimates of Putin’s wealth vary between 70 billion and 200 billion dollars. Billions, not millions. You’ll be telling me next that’s normal and that he earned it. Not bad for a public service career.

I’m all for good relations with Russia. But nobody’s going to tell me I have to like, trust or admire their current leader. You drool over him if you want to.

The only person I’ve ever seen comment sensibly on Putin on here is volodya – and he won’t want to agree with me.

You can take the man out of the KGB, but you can’t take the KGB out of the man.

Seriously, where did you see anything anti-Russian in my post?

I’m practically the only person on here who’s said they’d take the Sputnik vaccine (now that they’ve used their population to test it) and twice recommended the Sputnik – Oxford vaccination trials. But I wouldn’t take it from Vlad, thanks.

“Bits of it are worthy of Janos.”

            Thank you, I’m flattered!

If he’s only got £70b tucked under his mattress then he’s been short-changed. Worth every rouble.

Anyway, I wish he’d stump up for a round of Russian Standard. I’m celebrating. Company has informed us that there is no intention to make vaccination mandatory or required for work. No Sputnik for me, and I don’t like Oxford much either. Too many Intelligentsia riding round on bikes.

            Off to drool…

Long ago a Russian instructor at the Defense Language Institute told me they have a saying:

“A good man cannot be a good Tsar; and a good Tsar cannot be a good man.”

I presume that means it takes a blood-stained tyrant to hold the Russian nation together and functioning. (Their philosophy, not mine)

During the 300 year Romanov dynasty, the Russian Empire grew an average of 50 square miles per day. (Yes, do the math) They swallowed up over 100 distinct ethnic groups. Some like the Chechens a bit combative.

I can’t tell them how to handle their disgruntled minorities, and hope they won’t preach to us on that topic.

As for Putin’s sticky fingers pilfering 200 billion dollars, that sounds like anti-Putin propagandists at work. The Rothschild network of banks and media agencies despise him; but you believe what you like, GA.

We have some world class pilferers of our own, including one family now occupying the White House. But unlike Hunter Biden, Putin doesn’t treat us to videos of his naked ass having sex with teenage girls.

As for Putin’s Fabio inspired proclivity for being photographed bare chested on horseback – nothing unhealthy going on there. Probably just posing for a calendar: “Shirtless World Autocrats”. Mr November is Korea’s Kim Jong-Un manning an anti-aircraft gun wearing a thong. But I digress.

The Janos-like bits I was referring to were where you suggested something I didn’t say. I am not remotely anti-Russian and am happy with any normal co-operation between our countries and our people.

But if you think the oligarchs asset-stripping Russia, then Putin asset-stripping the oligarchs – for his own personal enrichment – is fine, well we’ll just have to agree to disagree on that.

“Company has informed us that there is no intention to make vaccination mandatory or required for work.”

Now, that I am genuinely pleased about for you. Honestly.

I’m getting updates about the ‘no vaccine passport’ petition I signed – committee discussing it 23 March, I think, and my now-representative in Liberty will be there (along with David Davis!).

          • Slugoon March 21, 2021 at 4:38 am #

Fair is fair, I concede that you didn’t bash Russia itself but as you said, Putin is Russia, and to most people there is no delineation. The ‘bogeyman’ depiction tiresome from people (not necessarily you) who have never been there, never met a Russian, and never heard the other version of what went down in Ukraine.

I’m sure he’s done alright from the asset-stripping, I know it went on with a lot of the oligarchs, but at the end of the day what does it matter if he has one million, one billion or a thousand billion? I’d rather judge him on the country he commands and how it acts upon the world stage.

hmuller also makes a good point. Who do you want running the shop. A dementia patient busy emasculating his military or a ruthless ex-KGB agent? I would think the latter is both necessary and desirable. I’m sure I’ve regaled the story about the broken gate in my dad’s street. Sometimes you just need a dictator.

So, what I want to know is, when is Queen Bee going topless astride a wild haggis?

          • GreenAlba March 21, 2021 at 7:35 pm #

I think I’ve been fairly clear about my opinion of Biden himself (at least with regard to his fitness for the job – I’ll leave his previous antics to others who know more about them) and about the quite outrageous cynicism of the promoters of the Biden-Harris axis. I don’t like to think the choice has to be limited to a Biden or a Putin.

And if skimming up to $200 billion (you are clearly even not fazed by a hypothetical $1000 billion!!) from what were at least notionally public assets is just par for the course as a lubricant for having such an amazing fellow guiding the ship of state, well, what can I say?

Re Queen Bee, I would have hoped to be reporting on her demise by this time, but that one is as keen to hold on to power as Vladdie and will have to be dragged kicking and screaming with her stilettos and fingernails scraping the multiple layers of Teflon as she goes.

          • GreenAlba March 21, 2021 at 7:39 pm #

” I’d say that Mr. Putin understood Joe Biden to be the most pathetic blustering schlemiel he’d ever encountered on the international scene.”

    schlemiel! LOL

Have not heard that since vintage Michael Savage… 1998 or so.
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing back then. Rolling through the dial between KFI’s John & Ken and Phil Hendrie… this bombastic guy comes on out of San Fran, for people who didn’t like the windbaggedness of tip-toeing Lintball, er, Limbaugh.

Those were good times (and they’re gone!)

Savage screams too damn much, plus he’s all over the place as far as his beliefs (one minute he likes Trump, Bush, whoever, and the next, he hates him). The local college got Savage kicked off the air, but the station replaced him with Mark Levin, who at least doesn’t kill half a broadcast talking about meatballs and sailing.

He’d just yell and cut them off.

        I was embarrassed for him.
        I couldn’t bare to listen.

I’d really be interested in JHK having a regular in-depth podcast.
        Long conversations.

Like Joe Rogan, but with a brain.
Rogan plies them with Buffalo Trace and joints.

        It does work.

Not sure what JHK could loosen their lips with.

Listening, I really enjoy the acoustics of his pencil.
        Pencil to paper.
        Taking notes.
        Allowing his guests to meander.
        While taking notes.
It almost seems like a sound effect.
        An audio layer.
        So distinct.
So purposeful. It really lets the listener know that he’s not going to let the guest get away with that one… but please, continue.

        Unlike Pswacky, Pswacki
        He circles back.

        Rogan just interjects.

“Next up: HR5, the so-called “Equality Act,” institutionalizing the notion that categories of “male” and “female” are mere cultural constructs and must in no way be allowed to order any cultural activity from school to work to leisure. The bill was initially conceived to harden into law President Obama’s EO expanding the Department of Education’s Title IX rules on school sports — which eventuated in “trans women” disrupting girls’ sports. Now, men pretending to be women (and vice-versa) will be allowed to disrupt everything else in American life, especially the civil courts, with frivolous lawsuits.”

I lean that way too – OR an alternative, which would completely ruin the trans agenda is, make up your own ‘gender’ (let’s face it there are 7 billion possibilities), and help spread the confusion and madness until it comes to its logical conclusion, which is, everyone is binary fluid, identifies as a plush toy or toadstool or whatever, and renders any laws completely useless.

        • Yohannon March 19, 2021 at 1:01 pm #

The full idiom is ‘lying toad’.

Still, someone who shall be nameless went for ‘Fuck you and your strangled extrapolations yet again, sir,’ very recently, which comes to the same thing but with more words. And a third person, a few weeks ago, berated you for the same mode of attack.

You could just stop fibbing about people’s supposed beliefs that they have never remotely expressed.

It would save you wasting money on a toadstool.

To us, it’s insane to be against mass immigration but be fine with mass asylums. It came to the same thing. But you don’t care about the nation (yours or ours), only the wretched non-Whites. To you it makes a big difference perhaps. So it may not be duplicity, just imbalance to the point of almost madness.

No, a Capitalist is a super predator who destroys all others in their field – and in the end unites with the few he can’t destroy. You left that part out. So the Super Predators work together, take over the Economy and then the Nation – and then the world. They want to fire a lot of useless eaters, get rid of them. So they come up with a product that will do that. Bill Gates is particularly obsessed with depopulation. And then they terrify the rubes into taking a vaccine that will begin to weed them out.

America would have had to graduate to National Socialism to save itself. That includes free enterpreise and even some guided Capitalism of course. And yes, a healthy amount of socialist as well. But the idea of Capitalist scumbags not getting to destroy others was unbearable to people like you. That’s your idea of freedom. So we were never able to even make it to European type Socialism, much less the really healthy kind.

India is Nationalists Socialist. As is Japan underneath its Capitalist rubric. As is China under its Communist rubric. Each nation has its own, one consonant with its own traditions and values, ok Bob? Got it?

Of course you don’t. What decade do you want to go back to? Trump would have taken us back to the 70’s. John Az, probably the 50’s. And then we’d progress back to the current nightmare, just must faster. This was always going to happen. This is what Capitalism IS. Only Americans believe in this ugly crap, at least to to this degree. What else could you ever expect from “Greed is good” and letting super predators have a free reign?

MAGA or America First was Fascism, but alas an unformed and uninformed one that wouldn’t have reigned in the Super Predators enough. Race neutral – that’s the difference between Fascism and National Socialism.

          • JohnAZ March 19, 2021 at 3:55 pm #

Socialism under a smart, benevolent leader is the ideal state.

Unfortunately, there are very few of those power folks around.

For example, George the Third wanted the colonies to pay part of the freight for defending the western border during the French-Indian war. Was he a dictator? In the eyes of the business class and intelligentsia in the States, he was. Power breeds contempt from below. Is there such a thing as a benevolent dictator?

The Constitution controls power, making it evil by definition. It acknowledges it but controls it by spreading it out. Right now our Politico is so distorted it just will not work. Too much one sided power negating the effects of the balance of power. This is the Uniparty mechanism, to control everything and negating the Constitution.

One of the wokies’ favorite tactic to shut up dissent or questions is to appeal to their right to an opinion – and you shouldn’t have one unless you’re a PhD in the field you are discussing.

Ironically, the PhDs I know have the least common sense, and are acting like juveniles, and believe the most insane nonsense.

Any educational system that produces large numbers of such people is fraudulent and needs to go the way of the dinosaurs.

It is simply indoctrination, but worse, it then destroys the human soul because the person must constantly choose the Lie over his or her own senses and commonsense ideas that come from such observations.

The only logical explanation for walling off the Capitol and manning those walls with 30,000 troops, while simultaneously combing the military for disloyalty is that a significant number of our fighting men and women ARE pissed off – and ready to do something about it. That must keep the Democrats awake at night.

There is no way Biden’s nannies will agree to a public encounter of their charge with someone as smart and well-informed as Vladimir Putin. Biden is so far gone he probably didn’t realize he was invited by Stephanopoulos to step into a steaming pile of shit with the Russian prez. Putin, for all his outward equanimity, absolutely hates the ignorant, insulting epithets which Hillary threw into the Russia diplomacy servings in her first presidential run of 2008. Stephanopoulos baited Biden (probably it was orchestrated before the talk) to go all out, as a way to justify the stupid policy of sabotaging Russian economy which cost the U.S. dearly already in growing Russia-China rapproachment. The cretins in the Potomac think tanks are so absolutely addicted to the idea of winning a second Cold War with Russia, that they refuse to admit that the Soviet Union is long gone and the only lasting effect of their hostility to Moscow is that it strengthens the geopolitical hand of China.

    • Yohannon March 19, 2021 at 1:19 pm #

They precede us in the insanity, believe it or not.

    • Islander March 19, 2021 at 9:58 pm #

      This is very very troubling.

The thing is, many girls are horrified when they learn what puberty entails for them. One could argue that it is perfectly reasonable for them to be depressed and to be willing to try anything to get out of it. Let’s be honest and breach the “modesty” barrier. No normal kid is going to be pleased to hear that she is going to be bleeding and feeling bad once a month for the next thirty years, until she is “old.” Especially having listened her mother and cronies bitching about it on a regular basis. It is bloody unfair! An eleven- or twelve-year-old girl may think that changing sex sounds like a good way to get out of this mess.

Encouraging her to think this is or course madness. Encouraging life-threatening and nature-altering surgeries and chemical or hormone therapies on a growing child is much crazier than forcing vaccinations and other therapies on healthy people (which is also crazy). It is at least justifiable for children born with actual chromosomal anomalies such as Turner’s Syndrome.

I can see some merit in going along with the child and calling her “him,” letting her dress as a boy, etc. so as to humor her until she gets over the puberty hump.I would say the same for a boy—if he wants to wear a dress, let him. Then, if kids still wants to make the switch, they can do it on their own hook and make the decision as adults, in consultation with other adult friends. They might decide that they can be happy with cross-dressing and being gay or bisexual some other mode of life that doesn’t screw up their physical bodies. But to expect a family to oversee unwanted surgical interventions on a child and to be threatened by a judge, etc. is beyond acceptable.

And what if the parents have religious convictions that forbid such a thing? Does this intervention by a court raise church/state issues? The attorney in the photo sure looks like she might have a tranny ax to grind . . .

      • MaryV March 20, 2021 at 3:26 pm #

… sipping Dom Perignon, nibbling on caviar …

Personally, I think the rich are duped all the time. Never thought expensive-name champagne tasted any better than the cheap stuff, and there are few foods (on the $$ per pound index) that are as insipid and basically taste-free as caviar.

I get called a “Chardonnay Socialist”, but in my real life I’m a lager & beer-nuts kinda guy!

Spacious conference room in Moscow. Putin and Biden facing each other, a small table between them upon which sit two phones, a samovar, and two tea cups. Many of Biden’s handlers stand nervously, including Dr. Jill, several real doctors, and various men adjusting ear pieces and whispering into their hands.

Putin: Thanks you for making it here, Mr. Biden. How was your trip?

Biden: Trip? No, I didn’t trip. Upright all day long, fella. Say, what’s your name again? You look familiar. Could be one of my pool boys, but then I ditched them for the girls. I picked out the bikinis for them, too. Executive decisions!

Putin: Mr. Biden, we seem to have got off to a bad start last week. That comment you made about me —

Biden: Ah, whatever I said, quit worrying. Just put the money in the bag. Hunter used to be the pick-up man, but for some reason he’s laying low these days.

    Putin: I beg your pardon?

Biden: The money. C’mon man, you know … you know the thing.

Putin: Mr. Biden, are you trying to bribe me?

Biden: Bribe, nothin’, you chowder-faced corn plaster! Deal’s a deal. Get with the program.

    (Phone rings. Putin picks up.)

Putin: Yes, Ivan. I was just going to call you. Have Pavel’s team ready at 0600 hours tomorrow. Activation code 644329A for deployment of the RS-36 (SS-18) ICBM … Yes, that’s right.

Biden: Let’s get the show on the road, man. By the way, what’s in the pot? Back in the day, we used to buy wood alcohol from ole Hank in the Delaware outback from the same kinda contraption. Hair’d stand up on my legs when that fire’d hit the belly. You know —

(Just then a doctor comes up behind Biden, and quickly injects him with a needle to his upper arm, at which point Biden’s head flops forward and he begins to snore.

    Putin rises and leaves.)

    • Islander March 19, 2021 at 4:23 pm #

You can see Putin’s actual response to Biden—and to the actual American leadership, which he makes crystal clear—in this address:

He wishes Biden good health, and then, by his choice of words, proceeds to bypass him address the actual leadership.

He delivers a little precis of American history, a short, pointed psychology lesson, and then, smiling, states that Russia knows how to defend its interests, and it will do so in spite of anything that the USA “leadership” throws at Russia. He also strongly implies that the USA leadership is still motivated by the genocidal impulses that accompanied the nation’s founding and its gratuitous attack on the civilians of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

By emphasizing that he has nothing at all against American citizens, and indeed will be “relying” on them, Putin also strongly implies that if Russia is obliged to strike to protect itself, it will not target defenseless civilians. But instead Americans will become part of the Russian civliazational effort.

All in all a brilliant “chat.”

      • Soul Forensics March 19, 2021 at 5:27 pm #

I learned that “reckon”, converted to Russian, is “schitat’ “, pronounced as “shithats”.

It’s quite rich, Putin’s 19th & 20th century history lesson than conveniently leaves out Russian’s treatment of ITS own.

Plus, China is now the Imperialist power. It remains to be seen how Russia’s relations with China will evolve (or devolve).

Still, and to to Putin’s larger point, with Hillary and Co’s forces now in charge in the U.S., Putin’s playing the sovereign card well.

I need to reread JHK’s WMBH series, but if memory serves there were references to bombs in Washington. DC and LA being a part of the events leading to the collapse of the US.

At the time, it was background for an interesting story; our elected leaders, as crazy as they could be, would never be so nuts as to provoke Russia. In the years since the first book of the series was published, I’ve started to rethink that.

Then there is the possibility of truly evil people setting off bombs in ways make it appear the government’s chosen current enemy was the perpetrator. The US right now feels more…unsettled dangerous to me than at ant point in my life, and I’m in my sixties.

War means lots of military contracts and even more money funneling to the oligarchs. The PTB would like that.

There is such a thing as demonstration and other workers should support it, but they only think of themselves this is what Reagan bet on when he broke the unions, stop your GD buying no new cars or anyhing else buy only what you absolutely have to survive, food shelter and utilities, instead of running to the nearest box store to buy shit you don’t really need , learn the difference between need and want, crash the damn system, and they would get the message soon enough and no what ifs don’t cut it otherwise you can sit home and cry whine wring your hands as they move ever more jobs out of the country until yours is the next one to go…

I”m a millennial who has done just that for the last 20 years; and then boomers call me a loser.

Millennial women think I’m cheap (I am, but sturdy in the ways that count) and take it as I’m not going to spoil them – therefore, no love. (Also, I’m not a raging leftist, and I don’t like church women for the most part.)

I’ve come to realize, regardless of what one does in this country, and to try to not be a parasite on others – someone, somewhere, is going to tell you, you’re not doing it right and that you are a dumb loser.

I literally had a buddy I’ve known for 30 years – never had one argument in all those years – drunkenly tell me off the other day as being a scrub and good-for-nothing, because I drive a 22 year sun-bleached truck (that I can mostly fix myself). Said I’d never amount to anything. Then again, he goes to his marketing job, comes home and watches hollywood productions, and falls asleep with a blood alcohol content of one thing or another.

Everyone I can see around me, is going crazy.
I only think I’m not because I’ve been researching the odd smelling anvil they’ve been trying to shove up our ass since forever.

        • Blackbird March 20, 2021 at 3:17 pm #

Demonstration and non-participation. Thanks dog, I asked an honest question and got, what I assume was, an honest answer. Regarding demonstrations, however, remember “Occupy Wallstreet” ca. 2011-2012? Faded away once they were told to go home. Non-participation? Well, how long will that be allowed? And then what?

OWS was dismantled by having agents provacateurs inserted to provoke violence just as they do with every left-leaning movement. Or they just astroturf it outright, like BLM…

Americans are pissed off, most just don’t know who to direct it at, because they are daily programmed by the TV and social media.

      • Tekapo March 20, 2021 at 1:34 am #

Americans are pissed off, most just don’t know who to direct it at, because they are daily programmed by the TV and social media.

Americans will have to get extremely pissed off with capitalism before there is a revolution … but the elites own the media, and the media are on the side of the status quo – billions for the owners of production, a well-paid sycophantic politico-managerial class, and starvation wages for most.

At least @bluedog recognised that the exporting of US jobs to low-cost countries has been happening for years – decades in some industries – and isn’t suddenly occurring since January 20.

        • BornToKillPeace March 20, 2021 at 2:46 pm #

          Are you retarded?

          I don’t like capitalism anymore than any anti-capitalist –
but any revolution against capitalism explicitly or in the name of social justice is going to result in even more destitute, than already is existing now. And then there will be the violence.

          Dear Lord, the violence.

The only revolution worth fighting is one in the name of the constitution. Then, after the success of that – mark off areas of the country or zones within the country – where people don’t have to participate as capitalists, while having inalienable rights. Let folks go native and hang out in the forests all day smoking pot and going their own food at scale.

After a revolution of that sort, people would be just fine with that, I imagine. Who really likes to go to work anyways?

          • BornToKillPeace March 20, 2021 at 2:51 pm #

Look at the sweatshops in China in the past 25 or so years.

Where those sweatshop workers doing it for capitalism, or psuedo-communism? Does it really matter what you call it – if it’s just a closer layer within the onion to slavery?

The owners of the factories were capitalists – but the workers – no, they were communists.

I’d rather be a capitalist working at the jiffy lube, than a communism working in a sweatshop for capitalists.

          • Tekapo March 21, 2021 at 2:52 am #

The only revolution worth fighting is one in the name of the constitution.

I don’t know quite what that means – will the hippies line up with bongs, against the MAGA forces with pitchforks?

“What do we Want! Article 1, Section 2! When do we Want it? NOW!”

Revolutions are won when the working class are united and organised. But far too often, they fight among themselves, are distracted, and do not know where the real enemy lies.

        • MaryV March 20, 2021 at 3:34 pm #

At least I do, too, being from a small midwestern town who lost all its industries in the 1980s when the gov’t decided we needed cheap shit from China and closed the local factories and stopped allowing people to farm, except as feed for livestock.

Biden was a POS as a human his entre life and political career but as he fades away into dementia I find it really sad that his wife and his family has not said enough already time to enjoy what little he has left.
It makes me a little sad to see an elderly person being used so poorly.

        • BackRowHeckler March 19, 2021 at 5:52 pm #

Agreed Ben. We joke around, but there’s nothing really funny about the current situation.

            Fuck Biden.

He belongs in solitary for the rest of his “life” after what he’s done to the world, what with selling out U.S. (and Western) sovereignty, not to mention his silence on Hunter’s incestuous behaviour.

I’m glad he’s embarrassing himself every day on the international stage. It might wake up a few left-leaning brainwashed idiots, and Biden himself still has it far luckier than what any deplorable would have had to face who participated in (and often ran) a 50-year crime op as he did.

No Tekapo, I’m not a MAGA or a Trumper. Or a rightwinger or a Republican or anything else you IDPol TDS-riddled people always retort that I am (and are always wrong).

And what about the white people that dude killed? And the men? I guess we don’t care because everything is about fetishising race now, huh? Do you understand what equity is? It actually goes against what MLK preached. Every person with the abilities to do something should be able to. Not every person should be able to do something, even if he/she/xir is not qualified, or they’re oppressed, so they automatically deserve to be given everything they desire, over other people who actually work for it.

The killer himself said he had a sex addiction, which wokie Democrats heartily push and approve of by encouraging women to become sex workers and grooming kids in schools to be sexually active.

He did not say he hated Asians. That entire narrative was created by your beloved mainstream media. One wonders why you bother spending time among us original thinkers up here, who turned off the boob tube a long time ago.

There goes your ‘hate crime’ issue, unless you want to make it a hate crime against WOMEN, which is what it is much closer to.

Two days ago he is super imposed on a green screen in a fake presser, and now he falls *multiple* times walking up a simple flight of stairs.

He definitely tripped going up the stairs – why was he trying to jog? But the alleged fake presser in front of a “green screen” has no credence at all. It wasn’t faked – on all sorts of technical grounds.

        We’ve covered that previously.

        • Yohannon March 20, 2021 at 3:39 am #

Obama used to gracefully trot up the stairs. Apparently Biden used to run. There’s a great clip of him and Obama running across the White House portico from the Oval Office to the West Wing or vice versa.

I don’t know if he ever played sports, but he had a good physique in his time. But of course that time is past. I assume he was trying to look good and forgot that.

        • MaryV March 20, 2021 at 3:43 pm #

One wonders why the video editors would create the illusion of Biden’s hand passing through a microphone, and why the outline of them look green-screened. I edit video so it was pretty glaring someone messed with it, but why?

          • Night Owl March 20, 2021 at 5:11 pm #

Mary, you should watch the Pockets of the Future video I posted last week. There is a second camera angle on there that is almost worse than the first.

Biden is about 20 feet away from the mics, yet as he moves forward, his hand and arm superimpose themselves over the mics as though he were close enough to touch it.

            Paul’s commentary is also hilarious.

One wonders why the video editors would create the illusion of Biden’s hand passing through a microphone …

No need to wonder really – his hand passed between the two mics – it’s pretty obvious it seems to me.

It beggars belief that they would try to stage-fake such an inconsequential impromptu presser … I don’t believe there was anything faked about it. (I used to edit video for a living – and set up chromakey screens too.)

You can plainly see Biden’s hand move through a microphone. I edit video and also the edges are very green-screened.

“Another phenomenon I have seen since being in Congress is that it [the GOP] is a Pro-wrestling culture. They don’t look at constituents. They look at them as fans. They think that they can just hit me on the head in the ring with a steel chair, and then we backslap off-camera. That is how it is. They’ll come up to me and slap your back, ‘Hey buddy, how’s it going.’ I can’t even look them in the eye. It’s sickening. They think it’s just for show, and that’s what’s so disturbing about Congress right now.”

“” I wasn’t being a wise guy.

On the one hand , Putin was a Colonel in the KGB in the old Soviet Union.

So , yes , I kinda doubt he’s a Care Bear , or even a garden variety nice man.

On the other hand , I’m hopping mad .

Because this looks to me like the most vulgar and crude America – centric ethnocentric BIGOTRY masquerading under another label.

” Americans are superior , Russians are inferior ” — in slightly different , less honest , words.

” And the Democrat Party is still the Party of White Supremacy, right? ”

    — Yohannon

    Yes, and no.

I doubt your average Klansman would consider Biden an allie .

But then , what exactly would the proposition , ” Americans are superior , Russians are inferior ” mean exactly ?

Are WASP Americans superior to Russians ?

Or are Black Americans superior to Russians ?

And which Russians , for that matter ? White Russians , Great Russians , Russian Tartars , or are Russian Tartars excluded ?

Are American tanks superior to Russian tanks , or are Russian and American tanks merely designed according to different but equal criteria ?

Russia — supposedly — abolished slavery three years before the United States — supposedly — abolished slavery .

So is America superior because it has superior commercial artists and makes better movies ?

It sure looks to this observer like nine – tenths of Democratic Party rhetoric is undiluted pandering to bigoted conceits , and little else.

    • Tate March 19, 2021 at 8:56 pm #

Actully , I would be willing to accept this — IF these folks in their open – minded , moderate , toleration , where willing to concede , for example , the proposition that homosexual or transsexual for example , could be viewed as merely fetishes . Like a preference for red-heads over brunettes is a fetish. Or tennis shoes or nose rings turn your crank are fetishes.

But , no , that , ” cultural construct ” — business is a door that invariably ONLY EVER swings ONE WAY.

Politics and Health do not mix….

The “Operation Warp Speed” vaccine program may turn out to be another Trump tragic political gimmick, like those crappy Chinese-made MAGA hats? Like the People who desperately wanted to believe in a return to the halcyon “Happy Days” of the 1950’s, the People desperately want to believe that the vaccines will be the miracle that will save us?

“ Circling back to these new strains, scientists and health officials are on edge because both the UK and Cali strains spread more easily than their predecessors and seem to be more resilient to some of the medicines used to treat COVID-19. The California strain has also shown signs of resistance to the current crop of COVID-19 vaccines, which is just a reminder that a second generation of jabs is already being designed. Studies have found that the California strain, which is one of two new strains first sequenced in the US, is 20% more infectious than other strains.”

tom – “Has anyone on this blog ever been to 38th and Chicago, the most famous place in the universe? I didn’t think so. I have.”

Yes. Used to live in Uptown, a few blocks south of Lake. Plenty of trips east for good food.

Seems to me there are at least a handful of folks who comment on this blog that are from various parts of the TC metro. Curious what the above comment is supposed to mean?

Now…have I been to Chicago/38th in the last 15 years (besides zipping through in my car to a different destination)? No. Burbs, mostly. And Target Field. Though even that’s probably off the table in adfinitum unless they figure this downtown mess out. And I fear they won’t for quite a while.

    • benr March 21, 2021 at 7:07 am #

Lived near Chicago for almost two years half of Chicago is a no go zone.
In the first week our car was broken into and everything not bolted down was stolen and sold at the local pawn shop in the dead of winter.
This included the stock radio and a sizeable collection of music tapes stored in a huge shopping bag in the trunk.
Called the cops and they refused to do anything about it and the pawn shop owner wheeled everything out the backdoor while I was waiting for the cops to show up.

The absolute worst part of this was at the time we were so poor we had to drive six months with the side window taped up with clear tape before we could afford to replace the window. Let me tell you it gets COLD in that part of the world. The joys of being an e-2 in the Navy Great Lakes Illinois in the lovely city of North Chicago. Crime so bad that Naval station actually rioted for a brief time and beat the shit out of any din do nuffins they could find.

To say I wanted to beat the shit out of the scum bag that did this was an understatement.
I did have a name and description gangbanger black scumbag according to the pawnshop owner.

“It’s quite hard to discuss anything meaningfully with those who believe the 2020 Election was rigged and stolen – but they cannot provide any credible proof that it was. Which is what 85 judges in 60 courts also thought.

Try to do better – ”

Mostly the commentary on this blog is worth reading, but sometimes it’s worth reading simply because it makes me laugh, like this comment by Tekapo.

Catalogues of credible issues have been bandied about for months so I’m not going to go into the tedium of regurging what others have covered ad nauseum.

So, what could the legal establishment have been thinking? Put yourself in their shoes. Maybe they were asking themselves what would be the consequences of challenging the Deep State consensus that Trump needed to be run out of town?

So, maybe they were thinking of not committing professional suicide by entertaining any notion that this was a crooked election. Maybe they were thinking about their families, their children’s prospects. When the administrative clerisy of the US is of a mind, dissenters will be put through the ringer. Are you a whistle-blower, a teller of unacceptable truths, a stepper on toes of powerful people? Your life will be wrecked. How much are you willing to risk?

If the generally accepted view in the country’s power centers is four-square for getting rid of Trump by any means, it would take extra-ordinary personal reserves to be the one to get in the way. Maintaining one’s standing among one’s peers, self-preservation by not tangling with the country’s investigative and intelligence organizations, these are not trivial considerations. We’ve seen the depths to which they sink.

This ain’t the movies, this is real life and this isn’t rocket science, this is elementary, and should be obvious to anyone with even a shallow understanding of the US.

    But thanks for the laugh.

    • Tekapo March 20, 2021 at 12:43 am #

      But thanks for the laugh.

You’re welcome … but it’s a quid pro quo indeed.

I get a pretty good chuckle as well – from those who earnestly believe that Donald J Trump was the only pure politician in this and every possible universe, unsullied by the grubby underside of party politics, but rather the great white hope, and the saviour of Their America whose time had come. LOL.

I also am amused when the 85 judges in 60 courts are accused to cowering – to the Deep State, to the Really Really Deep State – and of course to the unwashed masses who were likely to descent with pitchforks and flaming torches if a learned person on any bench in the land dare rule against the Big Steal.

Truth be known, it ain’t the way judges think or behave. But they do require decent submissions … they didn’t receive them from Mad Rudy or Ms Kraken. Not the judge’s problem … “Motion Denied!”

      • KesaAnna March 20, 2021 at 1:23 am #

        It seems to me that a decent submission would be something along the lines of ;

Sweden is slightly larger than California , but last I checked it has 16 viable political parties.

This state covers four time zones , but has only had two viable political parties for over one hundred years .

How the fuck does that remotely , credibly , add up ??

My guess is the average CFNer would never the less cast that thought into the outer darkness as if it were one of those mortal sins they don’t believe in ,

as would the average Joe in general ,

And so finally I’m not surprised that even a Supreme Court Justice would join the ” Me Too ” movement.

The whole thing strikes me as a bit like getting pissed at your good – for – nothing son because he spent a buck fifty on a pack of gum last evening , when during the same evening he spent five thousand on hookers and coke.

Has anyone provided an iota of evidence that what is driving this horrific surge of anti-Asian violence is “white supremacist domestic terror”?

That would require data showing who is primarily perpetrating the violence and with what motive. Where is that?

      Glen Greenwald, 3/17

Racism is the ultimate sin, not murder or cannibalism. Jeffrey Dahmer was outraged when he was accused of racism. He swore up and down that the predominance of minorities among his victims was just a chance thing, just something that worked out that way. Perhaps because he lived mostly in poor neighborhoods? The Brothers didn’t believe him and he was killed by one in prison.

      • KesaAnna March 20, 2021 at 2:15 am #

I think it is more like ” racism ” justifies murder and cannibalism.

Like Isolationism is a worse sin than sending the flower of your youth to get slaughtered in a war that any non – psychic can predict will be inconclusive.

Like protectionism is a worse sin than off- shoring your neighbors jobs to concentration camps six time zones away.

Like the thought , ” everybody dies of something anyway ” is a worse thought than the thought that it is reasonable to destroy an entire economy for the sake of a virus that kills less than one in a hundred.

Like letting your children play unsupervised in the street until 9 or 10 PM is criminally irresponsible , but getting your panties in a twist over serial killers is prudent , never mind the fact that all the data consistently shows that serial killers are a tiny proportion of the population , that your chances of meeting a serial killer are about the same as the odds that you will win the million dollar lottery .

        And so on.

Yet another example of “virtue ” somehow excusing the most extreme and barbaric of actions.

BDSM types typically brag and brag and brag about their virility , but in reality their libido is plain non -existent. .

” What would FBI agent, Clarice Starling in the movie “Silence of the Lambs”, who hunted down and killed the LGTBQ serial killer, “Buffalo Bill” in the film say? What would “Hannibal-the-Cannibal” say? ”

Well clearly she was the cock – tease type. As for Hannibal , I reckon it is kinda hard to fuck someone after you have eaten them. So my guess would be that efficient and low cost fucking would not be at the top of his agenda.

Biden stumbled three times. Who else stumbled three times? Are not Conservatives, the Pharisees? And White Nationalists, the Roman soldiers?

    • SoftStarLight March 20, 2021 at 4:30 am #

Nay. The Pharisees held (hold?) the power of life and death in their hands and often wielded (wield?) that power and authority to those very ends. As did the Roman Soldiers in that day. In this instance. Conservatives would not know what to do with power if it whopped them over the noggin with a two by four. And White Nationalists are considered a much more grave threat to civilization than anything in the known universe so they cannot be considered a legitimate arm of the state. Because the current state is equity. But after stumbling thrice was his heart not still hardened? Peter was sorrowful and filled with remorse and was forgiven for his stumbles ultimately becoming one of the more devoted disciples. He was crucified upside down in the end. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Forgive me Father.

There is a dementia called Lewy body syndrome that is devastating in scope. The first signs are Parkinsonian. It kills in two years. I had an uncle that died from it. It was heartbreaking to have watched him decline. I will guarantee you one thing, if anything like this is affecting Biden, you do not want his finger on any form of trigger anywhere during the future.

  50. SoftStarLight March 20, 2021 at 4:59 am #

I wonder how many people really noticed that Putin mentioned the Taiga in his challenge to Biden. It was almost the only word I even noticed. Though lately when Joe and President Kamala Harris are mentioned I begin to tune out everything and imagine the sounds of waves and distant tropical paradises. I suppose its classic escapism. But it is true that the Taiga is actually the largest land biome in the world. It covers a large portion of the continents in the Northern Hemisphere. But even though the Taiga forest is so absolutely vast it is dominated by only a few tree species Pine, Spruce, Fir, and Larch. And literally, the biggest coniferous forest in the world is the Siberian Larch forest. Meanwhile, people believe Biden is a hologram or a myth. Likely Putin simply realizes there is no King of the Jungle here in the good ole US of A and so he is having some fun. Especially since Joe or the Hologram like to bluster and “talk tough”. What will other beasts do knowing that the sheep have no shepherd? China has already told our diplomats to get a life.

    • BackRowHeckler March 20, 2021 at 6:46 am #

But how much longer will Biden last, SSL? It looks like he’s on his last legs, quite literally. I gave it to Memorial Day but I don’t think he’ll make it to Memorial Day.

      America, we’ve been had.

      • JohnAZ March 20, 2021 at 11:55 am #

Yes, “we” have been had. By ourselves, it is “us” that put these jerks where they are. It continues to be “us” that allows the debacle to continue. Define a typical American of the 1980s and compare him/her to the shell of the “citizen” that exists today. I heard a stat yesterday that only a third of the immigrants eventually apply for citizenship. So much for assimilation. So much for thinking the US is Eden on Earth. A very important statistic that is never addressed is how many of these folks go home after a period of time, after finding out the US dream is the penultimate hoax.

Much ado is made of trying to find out who is at the top of the ult Left pyramid, who is running the show? Do we want to know the identity of who could be the Anti-Christ? The Evil flooding the world right now is right out of the Rapture Bible. Everywhere you look, Evil pervades everything. Progressive movements everywhere are destroying Mankind’s goodness. The Revelation is not going to be God led, it is going to be led by ourselves. Mankind is the Beast, and the US is the leader of the pack.

Just now heard the China contingent tell the US contingent at Anchorage that the US no longer has the ability to talk to the Chinese people from a position of strength.

That just about says it, doesn’t it. A big problem is

They are right. Xi knows it, Putin knows it, Un knows it. International respect that Trump earned is gone. The American people did it.

      • SoftStarLight March 20, 2021 at 2:36 pm #

Like you Brh I imagine ole Joe won’t be around too much longer. But recalling the “campaign” last summer it seemed pretty clear that Kamala was the real frontrunner. My fear is that the plan will go forward without resistance. Kamala could very well be the one to mobilize the military to confiscate guns. They boldly stole the election so I assume they have very bold plans. But what is interesting is that Russia and China don’t seem to be amused. Which does make me question the whole Biden-China CCP connection that was alleged. It actually seems like both countries respected Trump much more.

        • BackRowHeckler March 20, 2021 at 4:21 pm #

Well, when Putin and Xi Jinping find out the DoD is issuing Maternity Flight Suits to aircrews, the US Army is training a new Tranny Division, the government will pay for service members to transition from men to woman, and there is currently a 6 week stand down to root out white men from the armed forces … I think they will be whistling a different tune.

    • JohnAZ March 20, 2021 at 12:01 pm #

Remember Trump establishing relations man to man with the opponents and the press and Dems clobbering him for it. Well, it has taken Biden two months to destroy the respect the US had built up in the world.

We are an international joke now.

The really sad part is they are right on.

    • JohnAZ March 20, 2021 at 12:15 pm #

China has told the US in Anchorage that China is the top dog now.

The US no longer has the ability to deal with the Chinese people from a position of strength.

Almost a quote, it says it all.

I watched a you tube last night talking about the Silk Road and the progress the Chinese have made in the last forty years or so. It was impressive and the Chinese have done a very good job of overwhelming us. And it continues.

      • SoftStarLight March 20, 2021 at 2:44 pm #

Yes. The Chinese believe in themselves as a people and Race and so they work for their long term advantage and betterment. Obviously they are not perfect and I wouldn’t want to live in China. But then I do recall that we White Americans literally don’t have anyone in government working to ensure our long term survival, advantage or betterment. So yes, the Chinese are approaching the situation from strength and we on the other hand are basically a dying and fading power and people at the moment.

    • Yohannon March 20, 2021 at 1:07 pm #

How does the Taiga fit in to his challenge to Biden?

Broad leaf forest is the best habitat for man, at least the White Man. And the United States has largest stretch of this in the world.

      • SoftStarLight March 20, 2021 at 2:26 pm #

Hmmm that is an interesting question. I’m not exactly sure but it does occur to me that the Taiga experiences some of the most extreme conditions on the planet. In fact, one time I read that some of the lower winter temperatures, particularly in the Siberian Taiga, are similar to surface temperatures on Mars. Temperatures like -90°F. And yet the Larch are just fine. They even lose their needle leafs like deciduous trees and turn yellow and orange and red in Autumn! And remember. The Taiga can be filled with big predators like bears. So all of that to say that maybe the reference to “relaxing in the taiga” is just Putin’s way of saying he is a big tough dude who does his R&R in a stark, dramatic, and potentially lethal habitat juxtaposed to Biden, whom everyone knows is vegetating in his basement while being managed by overbearing women and POC like Jill and Kam.

        • Blackbird March 20, 2021 at 4:00 pm #

Gotta agree with SSL. The taiga is a tough place – some of us USA’ins live in it too. Putin saying, “I am going into the wilderness to gather firewood and carry water”. Not many USA’ins can understand that.

My grandfather had me run around the backside of the tree so the sumbitchs would roll to his side so he could get them with the 12 gauge. We would pick mushrooms on the way back to to truck. Folks don’t have a clue these days.

I’ve coined the word, Sub-adult, to describe the behavior of people over 15 who act like petulant teenagers but think they are entitled to the perks of actual mature adulthood.

This is the perfect description of the Harris-Biden regime.

The staff and occupants of the current White House are actually worse than sub-adults, they are the Turds in the Punch bowl.

The greasy pole they slithered up to ‘win’ the White House has conditioned them to think that that tactic and approach will wash on the world stage.

Old Bedpan and his circus freaks masquerading as diplomats have pissed on China and Russia’s shoes and are trying to tell them it’s rain.

    Real adults are not amused.

When China made US diplomats get an anal swap test to enter China, well, that’s what they think of Old Build Back Bedpan Biden.

    • JohnAZ March 20, 2021 at 12:24 pm #

Forty years ago. the Left recognized this weakness developing, that the US was developing young adults that were children in scope, they never finish their maturation process.

So what did they do? They made it institutional by manning the higher education leadership with immature children from the prior generations, people that teach BS for a living and do not teach young people to develop into adults. Remember, two things have driven us into the almost infantile state our society has evolved into, higher education not education and allowing infantile level people to invade our borders.

Both Leftist, both power driven, both Evil Elite driven.

We are done, the world knows it and from some of these comments, so do we. No one cares!

Seriously, the Chinese will take Asia, Africa and eventually Europe by economic force. War is obsolete. The idiots in DC have never learned this, they handed the economy to China under Obama in the name of Climate Change. Now we pay the price for the Deep State’s stupidity.

“Do you have any idea how pissed-off a clear majority of the American public will be after a few more months of this?” Respectfully, I believe the majority of people in the US are already pissed off, including many who voted for Biden. Unions endorsed him, their members voted for him, and now they are unemployed (pipeline cancelled, fracking cancelled, etc.) But, respectfully, so what? Venezuala is jam-packed with pissed off people, that doesn’t change anything. Public opinion only matters, and affects politics in 1) legitimate democracies and 2) revolutions and Civil Wars. The US is not a functioning Democratic Republic, at all, and really has not been for decades. As to question 2, most americans are fat and apathetic. No matter how bad the bankrupt corrupt shell of a nation may be, it’s still a lot better than just about any other nation on earth. So people will be pissed off, and then have another beer, take another oxy, puff another joint. . .watch more insipid “reality shows” on TV that have nothing to do with reality. . .and wear their masks like the stupid, compliant sheep that they are. Guys like me are too busy working and earning money to really get involved, and if you make enough cash fast enough, you can even beat inflation. At a thousand bucks an hour, inflation becomes irrelevant. Double the prices of groceries and gasoline, so what, just a little less to put into savings this month. So that is where we are–no real democracy, no revolution, no Civil War, and bitching about politics is perfectly normal behavior, in this and in most countries. No Big Deal.

    • stelmosfire March 20, 2021 at 1:22 pm #

Dilbert, how do I make a thousand dollars an hour? Unless of course inflation will eventually make my dollars worth-less. My wife likes to save money. Texas has a culture of freedom yet harbors these evil companies that dictate slavery. A House divided against itself. Texas needs to declare independence and drive them out. In the meantime, the Deplorables are very confused by this discrepancy. The above is extreme, but marginal people will act out first. The Elite are driving us mad on purpose, and then they will blame us.

Yes. The whole Capitalism no matter what the costs thing. And Mr. Anglin Is correct I believe in noting that many more people have been broken by this than we know about. Not everyone will be snapping in such a way. There are so many quiet overdoses and suicides occurring too. As has been the case in middle America for so long now. And look at all the relationship and marriage and family problems it has caused. And I do think widespread resistance and certainly any violent backlash will be categorized by the media as White supremacy. Just like any questioning or criticism of all the new critical race theory policies and worship of the new Black gods is condemned as White supremacy and White backlash. Because White has even been turned into a pejorative. Also they will try to use this to shut down freedoms even more.

It’s now coming out from Lebanese sources that the ship containing the ammonium nitrate was deliberately rerouted to the port of Beirut. Very likely as part of a Hezbollah scheme to avoid interception and have the explosive chemicals available for its illicit weapons factories.

          • BackRowHeckler March 20, 2021 at 9:24 pm #

From what I’m seeing its total economic and social collapse in Lebanon right now. The explosion in August in Bierut (largest non nuclear detonation in history) was more of a symptom than a cause for the country’s dissolution. The world is not paying attention; the only reason I’m aware of conditions in Lebanon is because you’ve mentioned it previously on this blog. What can be done? Maybe France can help out, Lebanon being formerly a Protectorate of France.

          • BackRowHeckler March 20, 2021 at 9:38 pm #

2 million Syrian refugees inside Lebanon isn’t helping matters any. 2 million! Who’s feeding them? And all this chaos is right on your border. Incidentally, the Syrian Civil War never ended; there is still fighting going on in the NW part of the country. 550,000 dead so far, and counting. World media doesn’t even bother reporting on it anymore.

The Arabs allowed the Iranians to take over their countries because they were counting on the fanatic Iranians to war with Israel for them. But the Iranians out foxed them, and instead completely bled dry the Arabs economically and politically. Now these same Arabs are whining about the “Iranian occupation” which they themselves invited on themselves.

The US MSMediawhores are pimping him to an exclusively domestic minority audience, and half that audience is functionally illiterate.

  76. volodya March 20, 2021 at 9:00 pm #

Remember the Soviet 1970’s-80’s gerontocracy? Brezhnev, Andropov, Chernenko and their cronies, propped up on reviewing stands with uppers and wires and braces and who-knows-what as the troops, chins in the air, goose-stepped past? Oo! Rah!

Kind of reminds you of the present-day American counterpart. But that’s not the worst of it. Biden was never remotely fit for the office even at his prime never mind now as debility overtakes him. This is one seriously rickety President, tripping on stairs as frail legs betray him, lines of thought dissolving into neuronal fogbanks.

And Congress is old, congressional leadership is old, Sanders is old, Warren is old. Old, old, old, failing knees, failing minds, fighting the last war, too many of them foolishly following ideological fashions instead of providing sturdy and sensible direction.

Not hard to imagine what Putin and Xi think of this.

But there is hope. For all the bumbling dunderheadedness of Trump and his administration, his broad policy thrust at least took note of some real problems. But, overall, for a number of reasons, some related to Trump’s own shortcomings, some beyond his control, his four years have to be rated a failure. And so the US sits on a knife edge, economic calamity beckoning on the one side, national dissolution on the other, and as the clock ticks the margin for error gets awfully narrow.

Maybe the MAGA movement provides a glimmer, maybe only a fool’s hope. But, if it is to survive, MAGA needs people and leaders with their heads screwed on straight and their feet on the ground. I wonder if such a breed exists anymore. There’s no evidence of it on the Democrat side. I wish there was but I just don’t see it, immersed as the Democrats are in ninnyism and nonsense.

Nice post. I especially liked the term, “neuronal fogbanks”, which reminds me of a JHK style writing (that’s the best complement I can think of).

I agree with you about the age of some of our leaders. I’m soon to be 76, and can tell you I’m not quite the same as I was even 10 years ago. My mind is still sharp, but not as nimble. My energy level is lower – not bad, but I used to have a lot more. My memory is filled with so much experience that I have to concentrate harder to learn new things. I have aches and pains, not severe, but just enough to let me know my body is aging. I’m actually pissed about this as I’m realizing it appears I’m not immortal, as I once thought. I’m in good shape overall for someone my own age, but I couldn’t imagine doing a good job as president. Age limits ought to be in place for office holders.

Sorry to give you my mental and physical workups, but I am trying to make a point.

      • volodya March 20, 2021 at 10:18 pm #

I’m also within sight of the great beyond. The only good thing about advancing decrepitude is that while I’m not as quick on the uptake as I used to be I don’t need as much sleep as before and so, if I have to, I can pull all nighters without too much ill effect. But I don’t know for how much longer I can do this. The plumbing is still ok but my right knee is shit, my left shoulder creaks like a barn door.

But, if it is to survive, MAGA needs people and leaders with their heads screwed on straight and their feet on the ground. I wonder if such a breed exists anymore.

There will be a lot of jostling (up to and including internecine turf wars) within the Republicans … to “take over” the support and votes of the MAGA faithful now that Donald Trump has basically shuffled off.

The early signs are not good. Most of those who are the most pro-Trump Republicans are also in the main the most nutty, and probably unelectable on a big stage.

And the Trump spawn do not engender confidence either – neither the sons or the daughters, or their respective spouses.

I agree that both sides are far too old … I strongly believe there should be age limits on presidents, vice presidents, senators, and Supreme Court justices. Not so much Representatives … the House is more free-form, and all members face the voters every two years anyway.

The past could have been better, but now it can’t. Sorry about that, but that’s the way life is. It’s called history. The past and MAGA are gone forever..

The future CAN be better and we in the present are making that future now. Don’t like Joe Biden? Change election rules so the only way one can vote is to walk up to the vote counter with a written ballot, signed by yours truly and kiss him/her/it on the face.

John Muir knew how dangerous rampaging Negroes could be, so when roughing it in Atlanta, he slept inside a graveyard, knowing they’d be afraid to come in. Twain was an early liberal and apologist for Blacks, though of course a racist by today’s standards (as are you and all Whites). And yes, King was a plagiarist, communist, and sex addict.

Your posts are getting better. You’re starting to grow. You acknowledge indirectly that the election was stolen.

Don’t like Joe Biden? Change election rules so the only way one can vote is to walk up to the vote counter with a written ballot, signed by yours truly and kiss him/her/it on the face.

Rather than just repeating these over-worked memes, it might be more productive to do it analytically.

Take all 50 states, check their voting rules for 2016, and the result (D v R), check their voting rules for 2020, and the result (D v R). You will find that not one single state that amended their rules to universal mail-in or universal ballot distribution – flipped from Republican to Democrat in 2020. Not one.

The Republicans are flipping out that they lost certain states that actually fostered and encouraged and allowed more widespread voting. SHOCK HORROR – we can’t allow that – we can’t have real democracy because we would never win again!

They’re not even subtle about … they say all of this out loud. So voter suppression laws (disguised as “security measures”) are coming in up and down the country.

        Uh, no.

Security measures are not voter suppression.

Making absolutely sure that one person equals one vote only IS democracy. The fiasco that the last election presented was not democracy, it was total corruption. Can you guarantee that one vote per person was taken and that in a world chock full of hackers that the computer driven part of the election, attached to the internet, which was not supposed to be, was not manipulated? If you say yes, you are a liar.

Why is the Democrats and RINOs afraid of a paper ballot election, where fingers are dyed, like Egypt, so that repeat voters are impossible. Where no mail in ballots are allowed, no computers are allowed and every vote is counted as it is cast. That is democracy, not the corrupted piece of crap that happened this time.

Worried about time, like CNN and Fox? How long did it take to get results in this time, weeks. Stop allowing that lousy media set the rules so they can “call the election”.

There will never be another legitimate election where folks will line up behind a president, both parties, until the election is declared fair by both parties. The corrupted mess that the Deep State, all levels, declare as legit is no answer.

You show the Leftist colors when you tout the idea the GOP will never win again. You want the Uniparty, the dictatorship. You are no American.

Can you guarantee that one vote per person was taken and that in a world chock full of hackers that the computer driven part of the election, attached to the internet, which was not supposed to be, was not manipulated? If you say yes, you are a liar.

I have never said the election was kosher, guaranteed.

What I have said many times is that those claiming it was fraud had ample opportunity to demonstrate that it was fraudulent – and often in front of pro-Republican officials, admin tribunals, and the courts.

They did not do that … therefore, absent any determination to the contrary, one needs to assume that it was fair and honest. You can’t just keep claiming it was fraudulent, as if that makes it so.

My other point is that there is nothing inherently insecure about voting by mail – and many states have done so for many cycles, without issues. And they did this time too.

Donald Trump did not concede in the way that Hillary Clinton did almost immediately in 2016 … with almost exactly the same close race. He could have spared the nation a lot of grief.

The only conclusion one can draw is that Donald Trump (and his faithful) believe that when Republicans win a race it is fair, but when Democrats win a race it is fraud. Trump said as much for months prior to Nov 3.

It really is an unsupportable conceit.

        • Tekapo March 21, 2021 at 11:39 pm #

I think the inescapable conclusion is that a somewhat larger percentage of American voters wanted Trump to lose, even if it meant electing a cigar-store Indian. Not a pretty outcome whatsoever, but nevertheless I believe it is what happened.

It was a contest between two remarkably unappealing candidates, it seems to me.

Of course you do and that is the infinite ability you have for lying to yourself.

tom – “Don’t like Joe Biden? Change election rules so the only way one can vote is to walk up to the vote counter with a written ballot, signed by yours truly and kiss him/her/it on the face.”

This is essentially the way it was for the better part of two hundred years. I’m okay with that.

It’s also what all the evil, bigoted conservatives want to still be the standard. Because it makes sense. First, only people who truly want to vote, vote. Second, it’s harder to pretend to be someone else when casting that vote.

“… and Mark Twain was a racist.”

I know you’re just being flippant here for fun with this comment, and not that he needs defending…but I’ve read damn near everything Twain ever wrote, and he was not a racist. Rather, he held all of humanity in contempt, and found the humor in that. That’s a big difference.

    • PeteAtomic March 21, 2021 at 4:32 pm #

I totally agree about voting rules there, Tom. It ought to be that way you describe. The majority of the population ought to have to be physically present when they are voting. I can understand the argument about absentee voting for the elderly. However the exceptions ought not take over as the majority method. This is what seems to be happening.

The city of Minneapolis, as covered by Project Veritas, in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood, is a great example of corruption. Watch the reporting for yourself and come up with your own opinion on the matter. However, ballot harvesting, and ballot purchasing on the level that is shown on the investigative reporting– ought to be enforced and the relevant people investigated and possibly prosecuted. Of course, this will never happen. In one case that was uncovered by Project Veritas, a gal was arrested for her illegal activity. I believe it was in the state of Texas.

      • Tekapo March 22, 2021 at 1:43 am #

The majority of the population ought to have to be physically present when they are voting. I can understand the argument about absentee voting for the elderly.

Well … if you wish to encourage voting in person, then it needs to be supported – not discouraged, as some states are ruthlessly attempting.

There needs to be sufficient, accessible polling booths, particularly in urban-minority areas, don’t assume car arrival, have them open for at least the two weekends prior to “election day” for early voting, and also in the evenings.

Better still, move election day to a Saturday, or make it a public holiday.

I don’t support same-day registration … I think it should be at least a month prior so that rolls can be updated. Purging rolls of people who didn’t vote last time is outrageous suppression – you should be enrolled for life.

I don’t really support Voter ID either – but if it’s going to be used, then allow a very wide range of ID types.

But all of this isn’t really what this debate is about.

      • Tekapo March 22, 2021 at 2:13 am #

And ballot harvesting I also have a problem with – both Republican and Democrat.

There should be voting access for the hospitalized, those in aged care, and those immobile at home … but have it done by non-partisan state / county officials who do it properly and transparently.

None of this is really hard.

Yes, Whites Did Build America, Gregory Hood

For most people, “white nationalist,” like “racist,” is just a slur without any real meaning. But it does have a meaning. “White nationalism” is government concern for white interests. Ultimately, it would mean building a nation for whites.

The reason we have different nations is because peoples are different and have different interests. Peoples share a common culture, language, and ethnic background, even though identities can be fluid, imagined, or even created. Zionism, for example, was a deliberate political project that included the ambitious step of revitalizing Hebrew. However, any nationalist effort must build on something real; it cannot be a social construct.

A nation requires a shared race. I suspect it doesn’t even occur to Japanese, Koreans, or Africans that white residents might feel excluded from their national identities. The problems white Americans face are the same ones faced by white Englishmen, Germans, or Australians. “American” no longer means anything; I have more in common with a nationalist European than with an American such as Ilhan Omar.

For a country to be “white nationalist,” it must be defined by race. Leftists often claim this is true of America. It is not. If America were defined by white identity, we wouldn’t have these problems.

The main goal of a white nationalist state would be to protect its white citizens and establish conditions by which they flourish, but many questions about white nationalism do not have good answers.

How do we build a white nation?
Are racially conscious whites around the world a nation? Are we becoming one?
Should we support an Occidental Empire, a Western equivalent of the Chinese civilization-state?
Should whites try to renew existing nation-states, or create smaller ones?
Must a country be 100 percent white, or do we need only a white supermajority? Israel is explicitly a national state for Jews, but non-Jews can have political rights.

The Founders thought the United States was a white nation. They had a racial consciousness, even a specifically Anglo-American consciousness. Thomas Jefferson was especially proud of his Anglo-Saxon identity. He proposed the name of Cherronesus for a new state to be formed in the Mississippi valley. This was to honor the Cimbric Chersonesus of Jutland, from which his distant Saxon ancestors had crossed to Britain. He saw the United States as part of the Westward expansion of his people.

The nation’s first naturalization law limited citizenship to “free white persons,” even though blacks had served in the Continental Army. Some blacks voted even before the Civil War. Still, America’s leaders assumed this was a white country and would remain so. Unfortunately, they didn’t spell it out. America was founded on “implicit” whiteness. That wasn’t enough.

The late Samuel Huntington argued in Who Are We? that there have been four stages of American identity. The first, from 1607–1775, was ethnic (Anglo-Protestant), racial, cultural, and political. “Americans” were simply Britons in North America. The American Revolution severed the US from the Crown but retained other elements of American identity. After the near breakup of the Civil War, American identity returned to a shared sense of WASP ethnicity, white racial consciousness, and a shared culture. Huntington argues that the “WASP” core culture had broken down by 1940.

By 1965, racial identity was gone, and by 1990, a shared culture was gone. Now, all that holds “Americans” together is the formality of citizenship. We’re a group of people with a shared passport.

Still, whatever “America” is today, it was founded by a specific people. White Anglo-Saxon Protestants set the culture, built the institutions, and defined the country. This doesn’t mean that America was ever 100 percent WASP. However, John Jay expressed a profound truth when he wrote:

Providence has been pleased to give this one connected country, to one united people; a people descended from the same ancestors, speaking the same language, professing the same religion, attached to the same principles of government, very similar in their manner and customs.

Minorities, white and non-white, could live here, just not in great numbers. They also didn’t define or create the country. American Indians were not “Native Americans” because America didn’t exist until whites established it. America would be far different had some other people — or race — colonized the East Coast.

I feel foolish even writing this because it is so obvious. Ordinary people understand why an ancient civilization spoke a certain language or used certain symbols. A state is created by a particular people, who embody a culture. To point out that this universal law applies to the United States makes you a “white nationalist.”

Consider Nick Fuentes and the America First meeting held alongside CPAC this year. Speakers included Jon Miller and Michelle Malkin, a black man and an Asian woman. Former congressman Steve King and current Congressman Paul Gosar also spoke.

    Nick Fuentes said this:

If America ceases to retain that English cultural framework [that it was founded on] and the influence of European civilization, if it loses its white demographic core and if it loses its faith in Jesus Christ, then this is not America anymore. . . This country wouldn’t exist without white people.

The Hill said Nick Fuentes expressed “white nationalist” views. “GOP congressman headlines conference where organizers push white nationalist rhetoric,” said ABC News, putting “white demographic core” in scare quotes in the first paragraph. The Orlando Sentinel criticized the hotel for hosting a conference in which “organizers spouted white nationalist rhetoric.” The only example of this “rhetoric” was the Fuentes quote. Salon casually called Mr. Fuentes a “white nationalist agitator” and Paul Gosar the “GOP’s leading ambassador to white supremacy.”

Of course, what Nick Fuentes said was indisputable. If you remove any non-white group from American history, the country still exists. It would probably be better. If America continues its present course and whites become a minority, “America” becomes a name on a map.

The media made no attempt to explain why Nick Fuentes was wrong. That’s because he was right. They just wanted to call America First “racist” and scare Americans away from it.

Many conservatives say we shouldn’t talk about race. That strategy has failed for half a century. And now, everything white is racist. That’s the central pillar of Critical Race Theory.

The last year has shown that no American icon, whether George Washington or Abraham Lincoln, is safe from deconstruction. Nothing that is white is worthy. Those in power insult us, discriminate against us, and will replace us through mass migration.

    Attacks on Lincoln

The United States government is not America. The nation is the people, especially the whites who built and sustain the country. This is obvious, but to say so is taboo. We defend our people, not abstract principles or hollow symbols like some buildings in the federal capital.

I applaud media hysteria over Mr. Fuentes’s acknowledgement of our white identity. I hope at least some conservatives learn from Mr. Fuentes that if you ignore media outrage, you strip journalists of power. The frenzy over an obvious truth shows that egalitarians have no ideas, only emotions. Their house of cards may collapse sooner than we think.

Yoho: Attn: Mr Mango. A Nation is the end stage of growth of a particular people. To go further into Empire is always a mistake, unless you’re conquering people who are similar enough to be assimilated into your own People. Then it remains just a big nation. China has assimilated many peoples, but some remain separate and resentful. This isn’t good, but they still have a great numerical advantage and those peoples function well despite their grievances for the most part.

The fewer Whites, the less American America will become. It’s just that simple. That’s why our Enemies inundated us with unassimilable aliens. But we didn’t have to listen. Our lust for cheap labor and then the ideology of “success” and “humanity” that justified it, has sunk us. Thanks Republicans! You did what the Marxists alone never could have. And of course the “Black Brigade” of priests and ministers preaching universalism helped get them over the goal line. John Adams thanked Black Brigade of his time for helping to create America, so I thought I’d thank ours for helping to destroy it.

      “Yoho: Attn: Mr Mango”…

Mr. Mango: Attn: Yoho. As if anything written above is a foreign concept.

A few years back I asked a family friend (a doctor) about vaccination schedules for my kid, and what was “necessary” and what was not…she sent me a comicbook-like cartoon pamphlet explaining this and that and basically gently mocking “anti-vaxxers”…as if I hadn’t read as much if not more on both sides of the subject as she had in recent years.

It appears you are doing the same thing.

I didn’t agree with you 100% last week, and now you’re going to troll me the following week. Neat. No thanks.

At least you didn’t call me Antifa(??) this time.

      • Yohannon March 21, 2021 at 1:45 pm #

You disagreed and then wouldn’t explain why. You wouldn’t state your reasons or show your work. So if you weren’t prepared TO TALK, to have a CONVERSATION, why did you chime in? So I invited you again – no crime.

Unless your reasons for disagreeing are ones that you don’t wish to admit, perhaps?

        • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 21, 2021 at 2:28 pm #

          Jeezus, dude.

All I said was I misunderstood your comment about “whites being the Founding Race”. I presumed you meant of the world (which is, of course, not a valid assertion). Immediately after it was clarified you meant of the USA. And I agreed. (I explained this last week, too.)

Then I was suddenly a clueless, self-hating Antifa member. Ooooookay.

You are apparently not very good at discourse when someone won’t agree with everything that you believe. Suddenly they are a hopelessly foolish enemy for all time. Good luck with that. Sounds comforting.

          • Yohannon March 21, 2021 at 2:58 pm #

I never saw any such explanation. The Founding Race of the world doesn’t make too much sense. I don’t know why you would have ever thought that (if in fact you did). I never said anything like that here or anywhere else.

            I’ll go back and look.

Many Antifa don’t identify as White. I didn’t accuse you of being self hating nor of any overt affiliation.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 21, 2021 at 4:14 pm #

“The Founding Race of the world doesn’t make too much sense. I don’t know why you would have ever thought that (if in fact you did).”

To be perfectly honest, because it sounds like a buzzword that I would be familiar with if I read the stormer or some such. Just an assumption I made as I read, didn’t make the context directly connect with what you were talking about prior.

Howzabout we dig a hole and bury this potentially perpetual volley?

        • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 21, 2021 at 2:28 pm #

And you can shove your caps. Clearly I get to you as well.

        • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 21, 2021 at 2:36 pm #

The fun part is no one else here gives a rat’s sack, so there will be no third party adjudication of the actual content of our previous conversation (or lack of, in your words).

          C’est la vie.

Have a Steak-Umm and move on.

          • SoftStarLight March 21, 2021 at 2:50 pm #

Hmmm, I generally feel like if I repost to someone three times then I probably care about what they said and am not moving on. Forgive me for observing out loud ahead of time.

          • Yohannon March 21, 2021 at 3:19 pm #

I found it. I asked for clarification and you didn’t give it. You never said anything about “the world” – you just bowed out.

            My post and then yours:

I don’t see the significance of your semantic distinction. Why are Whites not the Founding Race if they founded the Untied States? Maybe you object to my capitalizations? Do you think they founded it for someone else, lol?

We have much work ahead of us if you think that.

            March 17, 2021 at 9:52 am #
            Yohannon –

I’m likely going to bow out of this converation at this point, as I think I now see the major difference in our thinking.

I have no problem with referring to the science of IQ testing, etc, and how that may apply to race.

The difference is that I don’t think that average IQ is the only measure of value people can have in society.

Differing people, with differing backgrounds or intelligence, can still be (and in many cases, are) valuable in differing ways, whether it be for production or entertainment…which you have (I think?) generally stated you can agree with.

Random example – being able to dance, hit a round ball with a round bat on the square, or being able to shred on a guitar or violin are also valued skills that the majority of people don’t possess. Those skills can give elevated social status to those that do, IQ be damned.

Some people deserve to be avoided, sure, but by their actions first. And we use our senses to determine that if we’re in an unfamliar setting. We’ve all been in a neighborhood that felt “off”, and most people can at least admit inwardly that race can be a prevailing factor as to why they feel uncomfortable at that moment.

So I see your point, and won’t argue with the numbers as presented, as they seem to be scientifically published in many ways over many years. I just don’t see that as a reason to only find value with those considered most likely to be at least as intelligent as (or moreso than) myself. Though I do also appreciate the importance of actively making company with those obviously smarter or more skilled than me. Life’s more fun that way.

That said, I see the logic in someone hailing from North Dakota choosing not to buy their forever dream home in Equatorial Guinea, versus, say, Connecticut.

So you can say that I am choosing to “put on airs” or tiptoe around issues to appear enlightened…but you can also perhaps accept that it is not necessary for everyone to see the world the exact same way in order for there to be a livable and enjoyable society.

Yoho: We both made mistakes. I said “Untied States” – perhaps moved by a Divine hand. You said “converation”. I have an aggressive style. You’re always talking about rednecks and mullets – almost like you don’t identify as White.

People from Connecticut would be very wise not to move to Equatorial Guinea. Yet the Guineans can waltz right into Connecticut and if anyone said boo, they’d be destroyed since “our” government would take the side of the Guineans. I hope you’re not like that too, Mango.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 21, 2021 at 4:02 pm #

I found it: (See fourth para below from last week):

            Me (last week):

            March 17, 2021 at 1:50 pm #

Well, it has devolved to this. Time for true high-level discourse. I believe it was Gandhi who once said:

            “Ah. Well. Fuck you, then.”

If that’s all you’ve got, the parsing of my words into whatever tiny morsel you see as exploitable…I originally assumed you meant the Founding Race of the world (due to your use of caps). Not the USA. Which I literally clarified for you in the very next post.

Everything else you want to try to dig out of my words is just for the sake of argument, not for the sake of understanding my perspective.

I understand yours. And that’s fine.

But I don’t want to be your student in these matters. I presumed we were just debating.

Still trying to figure out what my cowardly Parthian Shot was…but oh well. I’ll let that one slip into the ether.

            Good day, sir.

Me (now): I couldn’t care less about obvious typos, same as you…I zip through when I write and almost always miss something in the quick re-scan before posting.

Overall, I’d say this is what we get for continuing the same “conversation” in reply to different comments earlier or later in the same thread. No big deal.

And SSL, as much as I appreciate your sentiment (and defense of Yohannon), by my third reply I clearly was telling Yo to have a Steak-Umm and move on, not trying to claim that I was above it all and had moved on.

Not used to being the target of such focused picking here…but that’s okay, I guess. No harm, no foul.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 21, 2021 at 4:08 pm #

Oh, when I refer to rednecks and mullets, I presumed it was rather clear by the bulk of my posts here that I was being “ironical”, as Sean Maguire once said.

As in…that’s what the lefties would say about “those people” (because they do).

Some slack is justified on both ends here if that was truly not understood.

          • Yohannon March 21, 2021 at 4:27 pm #

Thank you for finding that. I missed it in the heat of combat then and again today. I still don’t know what you believe about my main premise, namely that Whites have the right to have their own nations, and should have kept the United State for themselves.

We certainly spilled enough blood for it, Ours, the British, the French, the Mexicans, and of course the Indians most of all.

Let’s face it: people hate using their minds in any serious way outside of making money for the most part. People in Ancient Athens were the same. Socrates, the Gadfly, made them do so, against their own wills but for their own good. I use the internet for that purpose. Making it a simulacrum of the everyday world seems an incredible waste to me. Why not use it for this – since free speech is all but forbidden now anyplace else? And maybe soon in cyberspace as well.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 21, 2021 at 8:41 pm #

Yo – “I still don’t know what you believe about my main premise, namely that Whites have the right to have their own nations, and should have kept the United State for themselves.”

Okay. Fine. I’ll give it a go.

I believe that it makes sense that groups of people have the right to maintain nations in the manner of their choosing. It’s been that way across large swaths of recorded time…Egyptians were long Egyptians…Germans have long been Germans…Poles have long been Poles…Brits have long been Brits…Japanese have long been Japanese, Israelis have, well, recently again been Israelis, etc…

In the case of the Unites States and its historically unignorable “European founding stock”…one must reconcile the fact that they also declared that all men are created equal. Regardless of the inherent hypocrisy of many of those who signed that document, they left the door open…I believe on purpose. Many among them saw another angle and did not prefer subjugation or exclusion, at least based solely on race. John Adams is one tenuous example.

If a large group of whites want to live in a nation of only whites, that is their basic right of free will. But they have to have the nation to call their own, or take it, as countless peoples have done throughout history.

Here you would point out that this is exactly what took place here 250+ years ago, with that “spirit” living strongly up until the last mid-century.

Unlike in the 18th century, a majority of whites today in America do *not* believe that we should be a country of only whites, myself included. Therefore, it is not that, nor should it be, considering we are a constitutional republic which (supposedly) governs by the spoken will of the many, trickling up to the few as The People’s trusted representation.

Obviously, most know that system is currently in shambles, and the minority of the population that chooses to critically think (no matter what the NYT says they should do) has little more than a modicum of trust, just a jot, just a tittle, that their reps give even half a shit to do their jobs anywhere near the tenets of the oaths they took upon entering office.

So…I would go with…times change. times have changed. Most don’t like change, including myself. But it happens, and one either finds their place and tries to teach their children the way things used to be (and therefore can be)…or…is ever more miserable as each day passes and society ebbs further into unknown territory.

I realize those at the top are dicks, and don’t have our best interests at heart. We are being purposely divided, that much is clear. I don’t believe diversity should be considered an inherent strength above all else, as is taught these days…history shows us otherwise.

The forced in-flow of people who have no interest in assimilating with our historical values (whether or not most of us even know what they are any more) does not help the country remain united.

But race isolationism is not something I’m at all interested in, beyond in which community/neighborhood I choose to live and participate. Much like everyone has that choice, to whatever extent their economic luck or prowess affords them.

There’s your freedom. There is, of course, one other option, which involves creating the change yourself. That almost inevtibaly involves war. To answer your question, that is not something I’m interested in. I just want to live and raise a family.

When communities are (truly) threatened directly, that viewpoint will change for many. But in my opinion, not most.

We are in obvious decline. Not sure there’s a fix at the macro level. I sure don’t have it.

So there’s my viewpoint. Sensible Pessimism.

I have never pretended to have a solution to all the shit I plain
