James A. Baker

At what point in his arduous take-over of Twitter did Elon Musk realize that the package came with a joker in the deck: James A. Baker, formerly general counsel of the FBI? Did he wonder: what is this guy doing here? Were there any conversations between the two? Or did Mr. Musk just quietly observe his presence at a remove in nervous wonder, as one might, say, upon discovering a scorpion in the corner of his hotel room?

Mr. Baker, you understand, was notoriously at the center of the FBI’s FISA court fuckery that got the ball rolling in the Crossfire Hurricane operation, Act One of RussiaGate, as well as the Alfa Bank caper concocted by Hillary Clinton (disclosed this year by special counsel John Durham), and probably every other sedition pie the FBI cooked in its oven in those years, considering Mr. Baker’s position as chief legal advisor to Director Chris Wray. When the alt-news media caught onto Mr. Baker’s nefarious activities, he became inconvenient to the agency, was re-assigned to some nebulous task (polishing Mr. Wray’s cuff links?), and quit in May, 2018. He landed temporarily — or was he, rather, parked out-of-sight? — at the shadowy R Street Institute, an Intel Community cut-out, one of its countless PR channels in the DC Swamp.

But then, mysteriously, Mr. Baker got hired by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey in June of 2020 — the heat of a presidential election — to work under Vijaya Gadde, Twitter’s general counsel (and chief of “legal, policy, and trust” [ha!]), where he remained until just the other day. Is it a stretch to imagine Mr. Baker’s former employer, the FBI — which, let’s face it, operates as a sort of blood-brotherhood — purposely installed Mr. Baker in that sensitive job at Twitter to help “moderate” the national conversation in the central forum that public debate had moved to in our time?

If so, he apparently did a crackerjack job, and just at the right time, too, after the FBI discovered, in emails they ripped off Rudolph Giuliani’s purloined cloud account, that Donald Trump’s attorney possessed of a copy of the laptop hard-drive of one Hunter Biden, son of presidential candidate Joe Biden — said computer (the FBI knew full-well by then) being stuffed not just with pornographic photos of crack orgies and other personal infelicities, but also a trove of emails and deal memos laying out a bribery and money-laundering scheme that the younger Biden was running all over Eurasia as a family business.

Of course, the FBI had that selfsame computer in its possession for the better part of a year when The New York Post broke the news of its existence days before the election of 2020. In fact, the Bureau had had possession at the very time that Mr. Trump was busy getting impeached for daring to suggest to Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, that the Bidens were involved in some shady business worth investigating with the Kiev-based Burisma gas company. Evidence of that and much much more — including way-bigger shady deals with CCP cut-outs — lay moldering in the laptop the FBI just silently sat on. Isn’t it a little strange that during the dragged-out impeachment ordeal neither Attorney General William Barr nor FBI chief Chris Wray volunteered to Mr. Trump’s legal defense that they held exculpatory evidence on that laptop for the very thing he was impeached on?

That was January, 2020, many months before The New York Post took the laptop’s existence public. And whaddaya know… by June of that year, James A. Baker was in place at Twitter, ready to serve! As election day approached, he apparently succeeded in stifling transmission of the Post’s laptop story plus any-and-all conversation about it in the Twitterverse, and was careful not to leave a memo trail of his heroic interventions. Do you suppose he might have had some conversations about all that with his old colleagues at the FBI? At the same time, you understand, the FBI was leaning successfully on that other social network giant, Facebook, to likewise smother the laptop story. And Google, too, having become an Intel Community tool, was avid to tailor its search algorithms to steer the curious away from Hunter’s laptop. And so was fortune’s fool Joe Biden inserted into history….

Amazingly, after all that huggermugger, James A. Baker still remained in place last week at Twitter — even as his putative boss, censor-in-chief, Vijaya Gadde, got drop-kicked out the door — just as Elon Musk prepared to release a trove of information detailing Twitter’s censorship activities of recent years. Yes! And, evidently, Mr. Baker functioned as a sort of one-man clearing house for all the documents getting shoveled to independent reporter Matt Taibbi, whom Mr. Musk had designated to be the news conduit for these awaited revelations. And, yes, there is every reason to suspect that Mr. Baker censored, or perhaps even tried to destroy, the very documents that Mr. Musk ordered released.

Was that not like leaving a wolverine in Twitter’s henhouse? How could Mr. Musk not know how absurd it was for Mr. Baker to moderate that release? Well, the chatter is that Mr. Musk was seeking a way to encourage Mr. Baker to inculpate himself, so as to foreclose any lawsuits he might think to bring against Twitter for wrongful termination. I have to say, Mr. Musk would be an idiot if he did not have copies of the server that James Baker had access to and had the opportunity to delete stuff from. I guess we’ll find out.

But there is one other matter that has been left out of all the sound and fury about the Twitter doc release: the meta story of the US government’s rogue agencies’ greater war against the public interest. Not just the Intel Community but all the public health agencies under the Department of Health and Human Services: the FDA, CDC, NIAID, NIH, and more.

Consider that James A. Baker — formerly the FBI’s consigliere— was in that job at Twitter most of the time that Covid-19 was raging across the land. How much did he have to say about censoring the life-and-death information surrounding the pandemic? Did he stifle debate about the early treatment medications — ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, Vitamin D, etc. — that could have saved many thousands of lives otherwise sacrificed to the medical establishment’s Moloch of intubation-and-remdesivir?

Did he advise the blackballing, silencing, and cancellation of doctors who opposed Dr. Fauci’s regime of lockdowns, masks, and “vaccines”? Did he prevent the public from learning how ineffective and harmful the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA shots are? Did he help promote every government-sponsored untruth about Covid-19, meaning just about everything public officials have uttered about it for three years? Did he, in sum, in his machinations at Twitter, so pervert the national conversation through an epic crisis that he has contributed to the collapsing US economy and a genocide-like campaign against the people of this country? I think he probably did. That’s how serious this matter is.

The control and collusion that exists at the top levels of everything is terrifying and so much so that pretty much all of humanity trembles in fear as we realize that there is nothing that we can do about any of it but maintain Fool’s Hope that something, someone might get on it and straighten it out for us. I shall not hold my breath waiting for that because the forces of evil that have replaced worship of God with worship of money and material wealth and power are far above mankind’s ability to stop the movement.

    • elysianfield December 9, 2022 at 12:27 pm #

      Walter,
There is no “straightening it out”. We live in a paradigm unknown to history…absolute full surveillance is now a state option. There will be no gatherings of the “faithful opposition”, save without heavy governmental participation. There will be no unobserved movements that might tend to counter governmental actions. There will be no meaningful “blows against the empire”….

The Internets. Computers. The NSA. I would opine that we should accept this, and party like it’s 1984.

      Siri giggles,

      Alexa abides….

Years ago, NASA published information on their website which described a program involving shooting rockets into the Troposphere to disperse Lithium, Barium, and Aluminum Oxide under the pretense of studying Solar Winds called “Tracers”. I do not know if they still have this up on their site or not, but I made a printout of the pages just to be able to prove that I was not making it up.

I am under the impression that the Lithium was utilized as a general sedation for humanity and for all I know the program never stopped. That would go a long way to explain the lack of giving a damn by so many victims. That and the fact that they have al been so dumbed down that they appear to be oblivious to the obvious anymore.

I’d love to have that in my files if you already have it .pdf or whatever. Not that I’m a crusader, just a truth-seeking old fart for some finality in honest perception of the actual world around me.

And of course, it makes for a splendid spontaneous injection of facts in an otherwise hearsay conversation. Crazy (NOT!) that those old “ex”-Nazis in NASA would come up with something like that if left to their own devices long enough, eh wot? Crazy as Covid in my book….

I have read many articles discussing Floride also having mellowing effects.
They put Sodium Floride in our drinking water and tell us this industrial waste is good for our teeth never disclosing the actual element is Calcium Floride that is good.

Don’t despair. This will all be over after the dollar is officially dead and no longer used as the world’s reserve currency. After that, whatever happens in the USA will be mostly irrelevant to the rest of the world as long as we stay home and finally stop the decades of bombing and killing going on in order to promote “democracy”. We’ll stop because we won’t have the resources anymore to run our military as we are now. Just as we will lack the money to keep either our health care or our education systems running. And both of those institutions are also little more than useless parasites and criminal operations. It’s all going to end in disaster and death – and we will richly deserve all the suffering we get. What we’ve been doing to other nations will sometime soon be done to us. And it might end with most of us getting mass graves done by bulldozer instead of the ten thousand dollar funerals for each and everyone that we’re used to. There won’t be enough embalming fluid for that.

      • mrs_saj December 9, 2022 at 3:22 pm #

I watched the documentary Died Suddenly shortly after it came out. I recommend it, though some of what was in there was not new to me.

There’s a doctor that they interview in the documentary that says she doesn’t believe we’ll have a standing army in 5 years (due to vaxx death/injury).

        • Not_GeorgeT December 9, 2022 at 4:17 pm #

Consider the Founders left ‘standing army’ out of the Constitution. They allowed raising one for a two year duration, after which it would need to be re-authorized for another 2 years. Navy was authorized, Post Office was authorized. Commerce protection and means of communication, not military adventures.

          • mrs_saj December 11, 2022 at 1:04 pm #

Great clarification, not-GeorgeT. I was just quoting the doc on ‘standing army’. I did not understand there was legal significance to the term.

I have to add here that James Howard Kunstler has done a spectacular job here of painting the entire grim picture of this whole sordid affair and will add that this blog is perhaps my number one place to go for news and information aside from the Redacted blog.

Thank you, James, for all you do. The truths you here reveal may not set us free, but they certainly serve to keep us aware of WTF these dirt bags are doing to us right in front of our faces.

    • TPTB-USA December 11, 2022 at 11:57 am #

Walter, you commented that you were “notified by email from the NJ Department of the Treasury that they had established an entity called the NJ Infrastructure Bank”. Did they advise what you should do?

It is my opinion, that which is transpiring, is a world wide coup by the WEF. After Biden was elected, while at the G-7 meeting, he told them “we’re back”, which I took to mean, that under his leadership, the WEF coup was back on.

In regard to a One World Government (The Great Reset), it should be obvious that there have been countless “back room” meetings between various individuals and groups, to the point where a fair segment of leaders throughout the world are aware of the movement, and to various degrees, the plan of execution. One needs to realize that this is the case with the likes of Xi and Putin.

In regard to Jim’s discussion about the collusion between social media and various individuals and entities in the US government, those in the know had an obvious advantage, which essentially/ultimately diminished my vote.

You were aware that entities like Il. public employees retirement fund were on the verge of being unfunded, and ultimately were made solvent. I suspect that they knew this would happen if Biden were elected. How many votes did that garner?

Now consider your own situation, did anyone properly appraise you of what you should have done with the NJ Infrastructure Bank notification? In hindsight, would you have done anything different? Imagine the advantage if you knew and anticipated the opportunity. How many votes did all this monkey business garner?

How pervasive is the collusion between the WEF and various entities throughout the world? This is what needs to be exposed.

      • Islander December 11, 2022 at 12:24 pm #

        You raise excellent points.

Esp. “How pervasive is the collusion between the WEF and various entities throughout the world? This is what needs to be exposed.”

And down to what level of “local” entities?

  2. Irish December 9, 2022 at 9:47 am #

I wondered the exact same thing. Can you imagine how much data has already been scrubbed or “lost” in this entire fiasco? I hope and pray that Elon Musk has a bigger vision and knows what he’s doing. Who is there left to trust anymore? Our government lies to us, the media lies to us, our doctors and corporate medicine lie to us, our schools are filled with left-wing nuts who want to turn our children into sexual beings before they are mature enough to understand what that even means. I think we have now become a dystopian society and that we are beyond hope and beyond repair at this point. It’s every man for himself now and there will be much suffering ahead. Not even Trump can save us from the mess that’s been created. I weep for what this country once was.

    • NickelthroweR December 9, 2022 at 9:58 am #

We are not entirely beyond hope and here is why:

You still have a choice. You can homeschool your children. You can move away from the mega-cities and the control grid. You can still do medical tourism. You can set up your own 501c3. You can grow your own food. You can incorporate yourself and do it in the Bahamas. You can buy gold & silver. You can have a VPN. You can have a cold crypto wallet.

Taking over mass media is the easiest low-hanging fruit for the deep state. That alone will get 80% of the population on board with anything no matter how ridiculous. The other 20% is of little consequence to them as all they have to do is label them “conspiracy theorists” and that ends the conversation. The nail that stands up gets pounded down so as long as you do not directly challenge their right to collect taxes, you’ll be left alone.

      • Cavepainter December 9, 2022 at 10:20 am #

The “other 20%” will be liquidated quickly as has happened with every “class revolution” in modern times. No problem.

        • NickelthroweR December 9, 2022 at 10:49 am #

I disagree. When the class revolution goes kinetic, being outside of a megacity is a bonus; having children outside of the indoctrination public education system is a bonus; having PM’s, crypto and the ability to grow food and produce energy is a bonus.

The class warfare will take place where it is easiest to take place – the mega-cities and their suburbs. It is much easier to deliver those pallets of bricks to rioters in the city than to worry about little old me minding my business in a not-so-easy to get to rural location. Especially once the fuel disappears.

          • mrs_saj December 9, 2022 at 12:07 pm #

            NickelthroweR,

I couldn’t agree more. I am doing my little preparations over time. My husband and I don’t tell many people what we are doing. And we have no illusions that we will think of everything. But we will not be locked into a mega city with no place to go.

This was a big year for us, we finally picked a location (a big task) and bought our land.

Best of luck to you in your preparations.

          • elysianfield December 9, 2022 at 12:50 pm #

            Yeah…

…except when your neighbor’s kids are hungry, and they see light and smoke from your not-so-easy-to-get-rural location.

Permit me to say that I have checked every box you present…very rural, self sufficient beyond the imagination,

I don’t feel very warm and fuzzy.

Oh, and I speak kinetic…been there, done that.

We should all do what we can, but do not feel that your preparations well-insulate you from what might be coming.

          • Mick December 9, 2022 at 1:29 pm #

Yes, they’ll have these things called ‘AI Drones’.

Well, they already have them. But the technology will keep getting more precise as the years go by. Or months, more likely.

            Elysianfield,

Where do you get the idea that I feel all warm and fuzzy? Reread my comment, please.

I am taking small steps to improve my and my husband’s future. I would love to hear about your experience. I will never think of everything. In fact I will certainly forget at least a few dozen things. But one must start somewhere. And I don’t have any neighbors, but I can still get to the closest town, which is six miles away, by horse.

Again, would love it if you shared your experience. We are supposed to learning from one another. At least, that is why I am here. That and to convince myself that I am not insane, given the national past time of gas lighting, lol.

Energy as we know it is diminishing. The ability to run high tech items requires energy.

In the Bronze Age they ran out of wood, the energy of the day. I’m not seeing many Bronze Age folks walking around asserting themselves.

Adapters. Do one’s best at being an adapter.

          • mrs_saj December 9, 2022 at 4:27 pm #

            niner,

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. The county I purchased my land in is said by some to not be conducive to having wells dug. The first person who told me this is also the one who mentioned the town of her birth in the first place. I quickly found out that she grew up on her parents’ farmstead drinking well water, yes, from their well. I have done further research and there are a dozen wells within a few miles of my land. I haven’t drilled one yet, but I’ve found the company that I want to contract with. I need to get cracking on this.

My gramps and grams lived to 95 and 100 respectively and had a 62 acre steer farm. It was such a lovely place. The farm had a man made cave that tunneled into the hillside right where a stream came out of the ground. As a kid, I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Your grasp of history brings back many happy memories….

I hope your situation and planning for the future brings you some comfort in the times ahead.

            Mrs saj

Allow me to apologize. I have been informally “prepping” for the last 50 years…and to that end I can suggest that I have covered all the bases, save one…I have not been able to learn to sleep with one eye open, and at my age, I expect I will not learn to do so. Dogs? Certainly. Motion detectors on my driveway? Yes.

If a half dozen ferals take interest in me, I expect no good end to the issue. I might be something of a hard target when awake, but age demands its 6-8 hours of sleep.

I certainly did not suggest that your efforts should make you complacent, but was intimating that mine, extensive as they are, will not save me. I have oft stated that to survive a general collapse of the rule of law, that one must be mobile and hostile…and at 76, that is no longer an option.

            Just for a hoot, re-watch Road Warrior….

Well you are assuming that Musk has 100% good intentions. Perhaps he is a limited hangout. Meaning, perhaps he has gone in to get rid of all the incriminating info. He can leak just enough to keep the public on his side. We’ve seen what he leaked through Taibbi and it really wasn’t much, compared to how much there is.

      I suppose we will see.

      • Jarek December 9, 2022 at 12:43 pm #

No, no one is saying that. We’re just praising the good that he HAS done. If we do that, maybe he’ll keep doing it. Cursing him as a demon really isn’t going to help now, is it?

Only in your mind is this “worshiping” him. Tucker himself said the other night, speaking directly to him as it were, Don’t try to curate it. Just release it.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he does hold some of the worst things back. He wants to live I assume.

I think it’s a bit early to praise or curse Musk. This has just started, let’s see what he does (and not just listen to what he says).

Talking about the “good” he has done is premature too. Maybe he’s providing us with New! Never-Before-Seen! Information! But maybe he’s selectively choosing what to give us in order to lead us astray. I don’t know. You don’t know. Maybe even he doesn’t know.

We all bring our biases to the dance, that’s normal. I don’t know about you (well actually, I think I do…), but I’ll gladly drop my old bias if a better one comes along.

For now, I’m a Musk skeptic. The world’s richest man is going to save us from the other rich people? Uh huh…

I’m a recovering Musklover myself. My breakup was painless. I hope yours will be too, but if not, you can be sure I will be here with the salt. Cause that’s what friends are for…

Long Musk ain’t even started. I hope it’s an interesting ride.

        • MaryQueen December 10, 2022 at 10:33 pm #

      • Hereward the Woke December 9, 2022 at 1:05 pm #

I think the truth is even more depressing, Mary: Musk can be Elliot Ness taking down the DC mafia and release everything. But nothing will come of it. “I think we have now become a dystopian society and that we are beyond hope and beyond repair at this point.”

The Woke priesthood permeates every institution and corner of our lives. It’s hard to imagine that it will yield to any form of standard political action. Voting, demonstrations, podcasts, blog posts, a Constitution teetering on the edge of irrelevance … quaint anachronisms that, at least on the national level, offer scant hope.

LARPing (live-action role playing) until recently was the fantasy mode of various kinds of dissidents. Now it’s mainstream normies who play let’s-pretend using the old, empty gestures.

I wish I could be more optimistic. But whatever chances there are for counteracting the oppression now are within individuals or groups of individuals.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to have faith in any segment of our government, no matter how remote they are from the Washington swamp. That is the most damaging aspect of the leftist push for total control. Who and what can we trust? Trust is central to our very existence, and they are deliberately and maliciously destroying it and removing it from society. The FBI has now been reincarnated as the Gestapo, with all the evil that portends. God needs to watch over Mr. Kunstler as he is publishing the truth that is like a cross to a vampire.

The FED and some big banks are now testing a central bank digital currency which is just a fiat dollar under an Orwellian system of surveillance and control. Mock the Biden’s and the banksters can “shut off” your access to your own money.

India went through two versions of that.

One where Modi just announced that paper money was no longer usable (above a small number).

Two where they rolled out an ID card to get access to all government programs. Two women starved to death because of glitches.
            Oops!

          • hmuller December 9, 2022 at 3:24 pm #

            True, hmmueller.

But there were probably more that we just don’t know about.

Also, when they cut off the paper money and people had to go to the bank every day to get the smaller currency amounts, they fought with each other in line.

They went after each other, instead of the rulers.

I predict that will also happen here. A lot of people seem to think that when Americans get hungry the 1% will be targeted, but I think it will be fighting among ourselves.

i think US$ paper, will be good for a long time, hand-to-hand.

and we are already half way into CBDC, with Yellen’s latest demand that digital payments over $600 be reported by the banks,

the banking-AI cannot yet debit our credit cards, or forbid certain “unhealthy” purchases in advance, but the digital debit/credit and personal payment transfers are being worked into the IRS machine.

as someone here very smartly pointed out recently, the 87,000 new agents are being brought in to monitor the switchover to CBDC. right now, they are warming up on reporting our digital cards and transfer payments.

Sullivan would be the more dangerous of the two to my mind, in that the classic intel asset ploy is to always try to blend into the wallpaper.

Even though the soul writes on the face by age 40, many who rise to power, who we know are corrupt by other evidence, have baby-faces of innocence.

Shakespeare commented about this problem, “One may smile, and smile, and be a villain.

It’s my understanding that the fashion & art world (at the top levels) exist as money laundering enterprises. I am also very sure they operate as trafficking enterprises, as well. And all the clues they craftily add to their ads shows who they are advertising to, wink wink.

      • thirdcoastlegend December 9, 2022 at 10:53 am #

I think there are also many vinyards and even a few microbreweries that exist for the purpose of money laundering and ducking out on taxes.

Yes, we’re probably just scratching the surface. Have you ever noticed what I used to call “stores of mystery” when I lived in the big city? Those stores that no one is ever in, sometimes they had higher-priced stuff. People browse and never buy.

I always wondered if those were mafia front stores.

          • thirdcoastlegend December 9, 2022 at 1:26 pm #

            Yes!

There was a furniture store across the street from my plant that had impressive looking displays in the front window for over a decade until it finally went under last year.

You never saw more than one or two cars parked there, no foot traffic, and never any delivery vans.

          • Paula D December 9, 2022 at 2:42 pm #

There was a used car lot down the street from me like that.

There was a purple Mustang there and the fact that it was always there got my attention.
And then I went in one time to ask about a pickup truck they had out there and the guy blew me off. He had an accent, but it wasn’t Italian.

I became convinced it was some sort of front.

          • draupnir December 9, 2022 at 2:45 pm #

Like the one Nancy Botwin ran for the cartel in Weed. I don’t mind the old mafia that much. I find them more honest in their self-interest and greed than the folks from the government who are here to help. If you don’t bother them, they don’t bother you. Of her friends in Las Vegas, the actress, Debbie Reynolds once said, “Nobody got killed who wasn’t supposed to be killed.” They have no interesst in running every aspect of your life. Unless you are so unlucky as to get caught in the crossfire, I think even the cartels and gangs, while more violent, are preferable.

When I lived in NYC, there was a little tailor shop a few doors down from my apartment. I once took a garment there to be mended. Inside the shop were two heavy-set Italian gentlemen, each sitting idly in front of a sewing machine. (There was no other sign of tailoring activity in the very small premises.)

When I gave them the garment to mend, they registered slight surprise. I picked up the garment a couple of days later, after it had been sloppily mended, and eventually figured out that the place was not really a tailor shop.

          • Anthea December 9, 2022 at 5:47 pm #

            @ draupnir:

I agree with you that the old mafia was, in their way, more honest and fair-minded than government, or even a lot of “legitimate” businesses.

I’ve known a few people who were employed in mafia-run businesses, over the years. Their mafia bosses never tried to cheat them, never begrudged them their often rather impressive earnings, were never rude or discourteous, and diligently “took care of business” if a problem arose. In some cases they went above and beyond to be protective of their employees–though it was, admittedly, just good business.

That luggage stealer’s crime was evidently not a one-off. Big surprise.

Brinton is mentally ill in every sense, not just his warped sense of self. Many kleptomaniacs are thrill seekers for the sake of thrill.

I pity him, but I pity our country more.

    • MaryQueen December 9, 2022 at 11:07 am #

      Hahahahaha, good one, Beryl.

    • hmuller December 9, 2022 at 1:02 pm #

Brinton said he took the wrong bag at the airport and when he got to his hotel room and realized the mistake, he was afraid to take the bag back. Ok, fishy but possible. Now we learn it happened a second time!

“Oh Lucy, you got some ‘splaining to do!”

      • Paula D December 9, 2022 at 2:43 pm #

Not really possible because it turned out that he hadn’t checked a bag of his own.

        • hmuller December 9, 2022 at 3:08 pm #

I think Joe Biden can empathize with a mistake like that.

Next time you meet a true believer Democrat, ask “would you let your children (or grandchildren) stay overnight with the Biden family, Hunter included?”

I’d be curious what they say.

          • Paula D December 9, 2022 at 3:19 pm #

I’m guessing they wouldn’t know anything about it.

I wrote “Let’s go Brandon” on my husband’s car window and when our true believer daughter got in the car she said “What does that mean? I’ve seen it but I don’t know what it means”.

How is that possible? Apparently she lives in a liberal bubble that even excludes her own parents.

I have seen liberals say “He’s just friendly” and mean it, about Biden’s sniffing and groping.

They also say “He has a stutter” when presented with evidence of his word salad dementia.

          • Blackbird December 9, 2022 at 9:09 pm #

What would my best commie frenemie say?

“That’s a bunch of bullshit man. That’s taken completely out of context and edited. Besides Trump raped a 13 year-old girl, but oh, that’s ok with you. Fuck man since the Pussy-Grabber-in-Chief has been in office rape has gone up 415%. 415%!!

If pressed he will just start spinning up a story out of thin air. He has a bad heart so I avoid engaging him on political issues. The Democratic Party should pay him for his devotion.

          • MaryQueen December 10, 2022 at 10:39 pm #

Kinda funny that Biden then must have just developed a stutter in later years. Sure didn’t have one a few years ago.

        • mrs_saj December 9, 2022 at 4:36 pm #

You beat me to it, Paula. Thank you!

Brinton had no checked luggage in Minneapolis and thus no reason to even be in the luggage claim area, much less to be taking a bag off the carousel. They have him on video pulling the tags off the luggage. What more do they need???

          • hmuller December 10, 2022 at 9:11 am #

What more do they/we need? A legal system that adheres to justice rather than politics.

I’m reminded of the high school boy who claimed to be trans. He raped a girl in the girls’ bathroom.

What did the school authorities do? They sent him to another school where he did it again.

When the first girl’s father got emotional at a school board meeting, the police roughed him up and dragged him out. Worse, our gentlemen of the news media portrayed him as one of those crazy, MAGA fascists who hate gay people.

          • mrs_saj December 10, 2022 at 10:35 am #

            Hmuller,

I remember that case well, a travesty of justice. The girl’s father is a hero. The school board should be tried for reckless endangerment or accomplices to rape.

I wonder where the ‘boy in a skirt’ is now?

          • Paula D December 10, 2022 at 11:39 am #

            I remember that too.

And now they tell us that white supremacist domestic terrorists are a threat to our fine upstanding school board members and they have sicced the FBI on them.

I wonder what sleezy stuff Merrick Garland is up to besides that.

        • Anthea December 9, 2022 at 6:15 pm #

And, since he hadn’t checked a bag and has done this twice (that we know of), this may indicate that he always has a look at the baggage carousel after every flight, with the idea of picking up a suitcase that looks promising–that is, one that looks like it belongs to a high-stepping lady and thus might have some stylish and expensive contents.

          • Paula D December 9, 2022 at 8:28 pm #

Or maybe he lurks at the check-in counter before the flight and checks out the women checking bags.

I do think that this absolutely proves that there is no such thing as blackmail or security risks anymore.

I never did believe that Epstein was blackmailing people.

Seriously? Blackmailing the kind of people who can have you killed even in a prison cell?

            Yeah, no.

          • Blackbird December 9, 2022 at 9:10 pm #

Makes me wonder how many he has got away with.

          • Paula D December 10, 2022 at 11:40 am #

I’ve seen a lot of pictures of him and he’s always wearing something different and, I assume, expensive.

          • Jarek December 10, 2022 at 1:10 pm #

Oh Paula! No one ever said he did the blackmailing. He was the gracious host who happened to have cameras everywhere. Those above him would decide who, when, and why.

Your little misunderstandings add up and end up leading you far astray.

          • Paula D December 10, 2022 at 7:09 pm #

So having photos of a man in a dress who poses with his leashed “puppy” and talks about his preferred way to have sex with said “puppy” is not blackmailable but photos of men with teenaged girls is enough to take them down?

            Yeah….right.

You mean the guy who was in on the 9/11 psyops? Hmmm.

      • niner December 9, 2022 at 10:49 am #

        MQ-

Yes. i’m so sorry about that, because I like Guiliani.

But I think in his defense he was part of the third squad:

        1. made it happen;

        2. let it happen;

        3. cover it up after it happened.

But I still don’t understand why men of apparent good character and courage, didn’t just blow the entire 911/WTC op out into public knowledge.

I don’t think it was just personal fear.

But it was a signal proof of the strength of the rot in government.

Pres. Wilson was also cowed, even Eisenhower. And made oblique public statements still afraid to name names.

        What is the fear here.

        • NickelthroweR December 9, 2022 at 10:56 am #

Eisenhower was afraid to name names because his treatment of German POW’s after the war and the firebombing of civilian population centers made him just as big of a War Criminal as any of the Germans or Japanese that were put to death by international courts.

          • Mick December 9, 2022 at 1:35 pm #

            ….and inconvenient truth indeed.

I liked that Putin mentioned this in that speech a few months ago. Of course 99.99999% of Americans didn’t hear it. But the rest of the world did.

          • Blackbird December 9, 2022 at 9:24 pm #

Eisenhower put the CIA and State Department in the hands of the Dulles brothers. They gave birth to the New World Order. (Ok, the NWO had a lot of daddies.) He knew what he was doing. His warning as he left office was one he himself hadn’t heeded.

          • Paula D December 10, 2022 at 11:44 am #

            All of that is true.
But according to Fletcher Prouty it was the CIA who sabotaged Gary Powers’ plane, and Eisenhower didn’t know.

He was supposed to be meeting with Khrushchev and the MIC/CIA didn’t want any peace deals talked about.

So they sabotaged the plane and Gary Powers came down in Soviet territory and Eisenhower denied it to the world and then the Soviets produced him.

Embarrassing! (Back when there were still people who got embarrassed by their crimes, or be the exposure of their crimes.)
That might have inspired his warning.

          Niner:

Thanks for that more nuanced view of Giuliani.

There are always big questions when a person gets into the upper reaches of power in the USA.

Whitney Webb writes off Giuliani not as a reformer who figured out how to make actual use of RICO statutes, but as basically doing the Mob’s work when he eliminated the Five Families from NYC—that is, he helped the bigger fish. But I haven’t seen her documentation on this.

But as Webb also states and this is her main point re teh centrality of blackmail: EVERYONE (at least in the US upper echelons) is compromised.

In along interview she did recently with Matt Ehret she talks about how the Mob has taken over the US govt. Much the same territory was covered by Gus Russo, whom Webb did not mention as a source. (She does take it in a different direction, but much of Russo’s work, focusing on a earlier period, is highly highly relevant to hers.)

Russo’s terminology was the melding of the Underworld with the Upperworld.

Webb also did not appear to understand the actual relationship of the Mob to Joseph Kennedy and its role—in particular, that of Sam Giancana—in the election of JFK, specifically exactly what occurred in a number of Chicago wards on Election Day in 1960. As laid out in detail by Russo.

Russo also documents the many investigations of Upperworld-Underworld corruption that were sidelined and buried.

Now that we have a worldwide melding of not only Underworld and Upperworld but also a melding of corporations, government, and NGOs, the question IMO is: Who has taken over whom?

This is the context in which I personally find the Musk saga most interesting.

If Musk is experiencing any epiphanies as a result of his Twitter takeover—any epiphanies that could lead him in “wrong” directions—life could get very dangerous for him.

          As it did for JFK.

Whatever Rudy did or didn’t do, in relation to 9/11, he has as much ‘expertise’ when it comes to evaluating whether evidence is real or fake, as anyone.

            Niner:

            The Russo I cite is Gus Russo, the author of Supermob: How Sidney Korshak and His Criminal Associates Became America’s Hidden Power Brokers;

and The Outfit: The Role of Chicago’s Underworld in the Shaping of Modern America.

He also wrote about the JFK assassination, and this is primarily how Wiki identifies him.

I have not read his books on that subject, but IMO he is on the wrong track there (in light of the most recent info concerning what happened in Dallas).

However, his books on the Mob are IMO indispensable. Check out the reviews at Amazon.

He is very good on showing how Hollywood and the entertainment/ gambling industry fits in to the exercise of influence and power—think also Las Vegas..

Which means, think huge corrupt real estate deals. Here is where the Pritzker branch of the Mob comes into it; they were the first or perhaps the most effective postwar mixmasters of the under- and upperworlds. They finagled the “legal” theft of property in California from Japanese Americans. Then they moved on to Vegas.

            The Pritzkers pushed Obama up.

          • Alzaebo December 9, 2022 at 2:28 pm #

And the Kirsch mob family of Chicago used their Prohibition profits to buy up the near bankrupt “defense” company that became Northrup-Grumann.

The same happened to all the war industry manufacturers, bought cheaply post-war as they were no longer needed.

And voila! That same mob had worked their way into a new global racket, creating wars by selling weapons on credit.

I won’t mention the ethnic makeup of 78% of the Prohibition Mob, nor their Canadian distillers. In Europe, that 2% of the population was responsible for 42% of the crime.

The Sicilian/Italian Cosa Nostra were definitely the smaller fish, competition taken down a notch or two (or many.)

Re Prohibition, the Mob’s originators pulled off a political marketing campaign, to church pastors enflaming them with ambition to wage a war on sin and demon rum, and organizing women’s groups, enticing them with promises of the vote, independence, and more say in addressing their neglected concerns.*

The Mob, an ancient gangster culture, had for millenia used their profits controlling the slave trade to make political and war loans to patricians and kings; this became the basis of the modern banking systems. Their invention of the income tax meant that if the king died or lost, the loan or compounding interest would still be paid.

They also specialized in vices and spells, that is, marketing and psychology. Along with opium and alcohol, they ran brothels catering to politicals; in these, they installed the first speakers (like we use for music), with a listener taking notes on pillow talk.

Prohibition money, sex, and blackmail is how the mob was able to leverage itself into cultivating like-minded allies and taking over the ruling class in a culture of corruption.

*(Note, women’s concerns were serious and valid. They were tired of drunk husbands beating them up and blowing the kids’ dinner money at the bar. With the rise of quack doctors, the ancient and honorable “red tent” of midwives had gone into steep decline, leaving women alone to deal with the painful and life-threatening aspects of womanhood and pregnancy. Woman’s health more resembled a Muslim system of shamed ignorance and powerlessness at that time, with male doctors, and ob-gyn unknown.)

          • niner December 9, 2022 at 3:17 pm #

Alzaebo, here’s an earlier version of the midwife problem.

people say the earliest profession was that of prostitute.

but that is wrong, the earliest professions are that of midwife and soldier

The deeper mystery is why other Americans who owe them nothing, stand up and defend them at the price of their own freedom and nation.

What I mean is the fact that Rudy had the laptop should have told the people concerned about its authenticity that it was the real deal.

Rudy knows as much if not more than any of them, how to tell real evidence from fake.

        • Islander December 9, 2022 at 6:14 pm #

          I am not following.

Did Giuliani ever have the laptop?

Anyhow, I doubt that Giuliani knows very much about the insides of computers.

Or are you suggesting that Giuliani did the same kind of cavorting as Hunter?

          What is your point?

          • Beryl of Oyl December 10, 2022 at 8:45 am #

“Rudy Giuliani’s efforts to tarnish Joe Biden’s presidential campaign continued in Delaware when he visited a police station Monday to share files from what he said was Hunter Biden’s laptop.

“They’ve got a hard drive or a laptop or something to that effect. They try to turn it over to New Castle County PD. New Castle County PD calls us,” said Mat Marshall, a spokesman for Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings.

Jennings’ office gave the device to the FBI, which reportedly is investigating the veracity of claims about the origin of the laptop and how its contents were shared with Giuliani’s team, Marshall said.”

            https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2020/10/21/rudy-giuliani-gives-alleged-hunter-biden-laptop-authorities/6005040002/

Rudy knows how to authenticate evidence as well or better than anyone at the FBI, due to his professional background.

He would not be so foolish as to sully his reputation trying to pass of something fake as real.

They knew damn well that Rudy had the real stuff, that’s why they sat on it so long, and that’s why the NY Post got kicked off Twitter.

          • mrs_saj December 11, 2022 at 1:29 pm #

Rudy had a copy of the laptop. The computer repair shop’s owner was rightly in fear for his life when he looked at it and realized what he had. He contacted Rudy’s office and gave him a thumb drive as an insurance policy before he turned the actual laptop over to the FBI.

Love, love, love the topic of today’s post, JIm!

This blog has noted before that cleaning house at Twitter of the mass of potential saboteurs was a necessary step before Elon could start doing public disclosures. Looks like he missed one, a big one….

Thanks for another excellent article today, James.

Yes it is a very serious situation, indeed, that the government was violating the First Amendment by censoring the public through Twitter.

It was uncovered at least 2-3 years ago that Twitter was taking direction from the deep state agencies, and no one paid attention. Hopefully now someone will, but who? Who’s willing to touch this?

I wish I could remember who did the expose on Twitter then. It might have been Glen Greenwald. I will see if I can find it. In any case, I remember it because I was sharing the article all over the place, but of course it was ignored.

It’s much more exposed now, of course. We’ll see if it gets any traction. I certainly hope so, but I have my doubts.

I think Jarek’s jealousy is getting the better of him. If he ever had a better, that is.

  18. Islander December 9, 2022 at 10:42 am #

Thank you, JHK, for putting this all together, and also throwing a gem like “Or did Mr. Musk just quietly observe his presence at a remove in nervous wonder, as one might, say, upon discovering a scorpion in the corner of his hotel room?”

Your account is the most thorough dissection I have seen (granted, my view is limited, but still) of the actual scope of Baker’s activities since before The Laptop.

Clearly, the FBI was totally politicized and compromised well before 2020.

For outing this FBI mole (maybe “FBI cockroach” is better—sticking with the arthropods), if for nothing else, Musk deserves our gratitude, whether or not he quite know what he was doing, or what kind of rock he was turning over.

A great example of cookies crumbling in unexpected ways.

    But there is more:

I think Armstrong is right about this. I am one who “grew up” Democrat. I now view the party with revulsion.

It will be interesting to follow Musk’s steering of his run-away go-cart.

Islander, I don’t know if you saw that I found a pre-2020 article about how corona viruses are known to be stable.
It took me a long time to find it, so I wanted to make sure that you see it.
” First, the polymerases of the vast majority of RNA viruses lack 3? exonuclease proofreading activity and hence are more error-prone than those of DNA viruses [9, 10]. The exception to this rule is provided by coronaviruses, a family of positive-strand RNA viruses encoding a complex RNA-dependent RNA polymerase that has a 3? exonuclease domain ”

      • Islander December 9, 2022 at 1:17 pm #

        Hi, Paula,

In your first comment on this I wondered what you meant by “stable.”

Is being “error-prone” in proofreading activity the same as mutating rapidly?

        • Paula D December 9, 2022 at 2:48 pm #

Yes. If there is no mechanism for correcting errors the errors will continue and there will be mutations. Most mutations are not amenable to carrying on, but some are.
Corona viruses are less apt to mutate because of their self-correcting mechanism and are therefore considered more stable than other RNA viruses.

They have been lying to us about this since 2020.

          • Islander December 9, 2022 at 6:17 pm #

I am still not sure these are the same thing.

          • Paula D December 9, 2022 at 8:29 pm #

You can’t see that errors in replication are the mechanism that causes mutations?

What do you think causes mutations then?

      • Jarek December 9, 2022 at 1:44 pm #

Hi Paula! Also answer Mary’s question: If they planning to create an actual killer virus, what protection do they have against it?

These are serious people who enjoy life and want to live forever. They know how weak even the real vaccines are and ever were.

No, good Paula, the real weapon is to be the Vaxes to the coming Plandemics – just like the last time.

        • Paula D December 9, 2022 at 2:51 pm #

They don’t release the viruses on the upper class.

There was no actual “pandemic” in the sense of “virus gone wild through the population”.

There were serial releases in targeted areas.

Remember also that when the released the bioweaponized anthrax on the population the White House was already on Cipro.

          Coincidence?

But do go on blowing off the incredible danger of having 300+ bioweapons labs because you want to pretend that there are no such things as viruses.

          You are a Fauci stooge.

          • Islander December 9, 2022 at 6:19 pm #

Hmmmm. Maybe I’m a Fauxi stooge, too, because it seems that if they released the bioweapon in NYC that would have killed a LOT of the important people that the WEF et al rely on to push this thing. Unless you have proof they all left? Because NYC was the hardest hit.

Viruses are no respecter of persons or classes. I admit it’s possible they’ve developed far better vaccines for themselves – and far better medical care in general. But barring that, it’s a huge and unacceptable risk for them to take.

          • Night Owl December 10, 2022 at 5:04 am #

I never said there was no such thing as viruses.

They didn’t release it on Wall Street. They released it in the poor areas.
            The R0 was around 2.
The rich were in no danger.

          • Paula D December 10, 2022 at 12:04 pm #

            They also knew about hydroxychloroquine.

Even I did. I remember that on Feb 29th I took the train to Chicago and it was packed, so I had a gin and tonic at the hotel bar, telling myself that it was protective medicine. If I already knew you know that they did.

          • Jarek December 10, 2022 at 1:16 pm #

And the super deadly and super contagious virus would stay in poor areas?

Read Poe’s “Masque of the Red Death”.

They’d need complete isolation as the Elite tried to affect in the story. I don’t know if they’re read for that or ever will be. They’re not big on self sacrifice. That’s our job!

          • Jarek December 10, 2022 at 1:22 pm #

Islander: I muse about the idea of no viruses from time to time. I have a friend who is vehement about the idea. But when I bring up the fact that disease has long been observed to spread from individual to individual, he has no answer. The ancients didn’t know the mechanism – or why swamps were so unhealthy. They thought the vapors might cause disease. We know it’s the mosquitoes.

The real strength in the no virus paradigm is its focus on the human immune system. Tucker and others talk about the natural immunity that comes from getting sick and overcoming a disease. Nobody talks about people who who never get sick at all. What kind of immunity do they have? That which comes from a very good immune system.

          • Paula D December 10, 2022 at 4:04 pm #

It was not a super deadly nor a super contagious virus. It had a death rate of 0.0001% depending on the age of the person.

An R0 of 2 is not super contagious.

And yes, viruses spread from person to person, naturally. Therefore rich people in Manhattan would not be exposed to poor people in the Bronx, therefore they would not get it.

It took 20 minutes of exposure in a contained area with no circulation with a sick person for the virus to spread, according to the CDC back in 2020.

Except for when the MIC did it deliberately. You don’t wonder how or why the “Delta” version showed up in red states in the middle of summer 2021? How would that happen naturally? It supposedly started in India, after India had gone over a year without mass contagion, and then spread to frigging Florida and Texas. In July.

If you don’t wonder how and why that happened then you are a Fauci stooge.

          • Paula D December 10, 2022 at 7:11 pm #

The Black Death was not spread person to person, it was spread through fleas.

But FYI Fauci and his band of mad scientists are also working on vector borne diseases, like ticks, fleas and mosquitoes.

      • Islander December 9, 2022 at 11:24 am #

        Wow! From the Reduxx piece:

“Academic research suggests a correlation between theft and an escalation in crime, particularly in cases which involve a sexual component.

A 2013 paper published by the Department of Psychology at Ryerson University, Toronto, investigated 82 instances of “fetish burglary,” which is defined as the sexually motivated theft of another individual’s personal belongings – especially women’s clothing and undergarments.

“Criminal history narrative studies reveal an escalation in sexual offender behaviour from non-contact to contact offending, with an ever-increasing likelihood of sexual violence and homicide. In particular, researchers have found that sexual offenders often have a history of committing burglaries prior to contact offences,” reads the paper’s abstract.

The study’s authors note that prior research highlighted a connection between fetish burglaries, sexual violence, and transvestism – a sexual fetish most often associated with men who experience arousal at wearing “women’s” clothing.

“In an early study by Revitch (1978), transvestism was found to be associated with fetish burglaries. Later, in a sample of 52 serial sexual homicides, Schlesinger and Revitch (1999) found that over a third of the sexual murderers had prior convictions for burglary. In those cases, the theft of fetishistic objects was found to be directly related to escalation to obtain (more of) the object and then, although less frequently, to assault or murder the female.”

Didn’t popular culture pick up on this already?

Isn’t that kind of the subtextual theme of Psycho?

Haven’t there been other horror films with the theme of gender confusions becoming murderous?

On a micro level, the cognitive dissonance of Yankees who move to the South is astounding. My Yankee relatives maintained a seething hatred of what they viewed as a land of rednecks and cornpone, but they sure liked to use (and never pay for) my house at South Carolina, and, nearly to a man, when they fled the hell they had created up north, they sought refuge in the South.

14th century Franciscan monk, William of Okham (or Occam, England) admonished us to reject “plurality” (complicated explanations) unless they are demanded by the problem. He often began his tracts with the challenge that he would take out his “razor” and shave away the irrelevancies. Simplicity was his message, which we recall in his most familiar advice, (William of) Occam’s Razor, “The simplest explanation that explains the problem is probably correct.” So, faced with 2 identical political parties that do little but dither and snipe at each other (& hence, sustain the status quo) may I offer a simple explanation: The US government (also, Big Biz, the Media, and “higher” education) are controlled by a criminal organization.. When the US rulers simply operate with zero regard for Law (international or domestic), moved only what they think benefits them, is that not the simplest definition of a criminal organization? Now, ya’ll will start yammering about how YOUR favorite flavor is SO different! …. no…they aren’t.

    • MD3 December 9, 2022 at 11:15 am #

In America there are two parties, the stupid party and the evil party. Sometimes they get together and do something that is both stupid and evil. This is called bi-partisanship.
      – paraphrasing of something the great Sam Francis often said.

I don’t think that it is correct to say that the two American political parties are identical. The Democrats are irretrievably evil and satanic. They control everything. The Republicans are like the Washington Generals. They are a false opposition who exists to make people think they have a choice. They are also there to capture and consolidate all of the Left’s wins and move the right ever leftward. Bill Buckley and his bullshit CIA-funded magazine was the greatest example of this.

      • rudyspeaks December 9, 2022 at 11:56 am #

“to capture and consolidate all of the Left’s wins and move the right ever leftward” HAH! Love it! Let’s look at the “leftward drift”, huh? In the last 50 years, the 1%ers have shaved 20% of the Middle Class’s income (1973, salaries & wages = 52% of US income… Today, 42%!), “Health Care” (sic) and “Higher” Education are little but wealth transfer engines, with neither party even discussing it. [The Rand corporation calculated a $50 Trillion transfer in just 1978-2018] The “left party”, the Democrats, voting billions to a fascist regime riddled with Nazis, a BIGGER chunk of cash to the War Dept. than either the Pentagon or the MIC asked for! The same tax structure as Reagan (when the Mega-debt began). Bi-partisan press suppression (Assange, Snowden, internet AI censorship), and information concentration (all US news now 5 Billionaire-owned companies). Unless you’re confusing distraction and evasion issues (identity, gender confusion, guns & abortion) with real life, WTF is the “Left”?

        • MD3 December 9, 2022 at 12:18 pm #

We could get hung up on definitions of right and left, but there really hasn’t been any sort of “right” in this country since America First was smashed. From time to time, loose groups have risen up to support some sort of traditional American populism, like Wallace voters, Perot and Buchanan, Ralph Nader, and ultimately Trump, etc.

Everything you described has been done by the revolutionary Left. This could be defined in many ways, but in this country, its probably best viewed as being opposed to the Remnant.

        • Paula D December 10, 2022 at 12:08 pm #

Nothing says “left” like stripping the working class of wages and public works and handing it over to the wealthy.

          • rudyspeaks December 11, 2022 at 3:32 pm #

Thanks, Paula, for an answer based on reason and logic. MD3’s “revolutionary Left” seems to be a Ruling Class 5th column.

      • Jarek December 9, 2022 at 1:53 pm #

And as such, the Republicans are an integral and key part to the evil structure.

Thus do I correct you, using your own premises.

A few individuals excepted of course, like the six (I believe) you stood with Trump to the bitter end of the Steal. Six.

More than in the Democrats, I freely grant you. And no doubt considerably better at the local level.

Welcome fellow realist. You will find some still struggle with emotional trauma, but overall I think many have (mentally) walked.

You are of course entirely correct, but possessing that knowledge provides no real advantage. Rather, nothing can be done until the dollar standard is eroded, and that is a function of outside forces beyond our control.

“ Was that not like leaving a wolverine in Twitter’s henhouse? How could Mr. Musk not know how absurd it was for Mr. Baker to moderate that release?

Well, the chatter is that Mr. Musk was seeking a way to encourage Mr. Baker to inculpate himself, so as to foreclose any lawsuits he might think to bring against Twitter for wrongful termination.

I have to say, Mr. Musk would be an idiot if he did not have copies of the server that James Baker had access to and had the opportunity to delete stuff from. I guess we’ll find out.”
    ___________________________________________________

I could not agree more with Jim Kunstler! How could I not? How could, anyone not agree more with him, if they have very good common sense and, very very good reasoning—ability. Furthermore so would Alex Berenson.

(Once again and again, Howard Kunstler is, is always spot on!! Vintage Kunstler!!!! FLAWLESS!!)

And, speaking of Alex, here is just a little bit from his latest writings. I won’t list the entire article because as far as I know you can read it all on his Sub-Stack profile.

I believe, You just cannot post comments like paid subscribers like I can. But again, I really do believe you can read his article in it’s entirety. This came to my in-box yesterday.

“ For a glorious moment two weeks ago, Elon Musk seemed to
remember why he had bought Twitter. On Nov. 23, Twitter said it would stop enforcing its Covid “misinformation” policies. Those rules had led it to ban thousands of users, including me in August 2021.

(Among the tweets that led to my ban was one that simply reported accurately on the results of Pfizer’s own vaccine clinical trial.)
The next day, Musk promised an “amnesty” to users suspended for breaking Covid or other Twitter rules.

Below, that paragraph was a picture of Elon Musk’s Tweet that stated these words.

(“The people have spoken. Amnesty begins next week.
    Vox Populi, Vox Dei.”)

Whatever those words in Latin mean. Although I will go look them up as soon as I send my comment. I know, I know. I should do it now but I’m just not going to.

“ But in the two weeks since the announcement, Musk has not kept his promise.

Not only has he not moved forward with a broad amnesty, he has continued to ban high-profile and large accounts from mRNA vaccine skeptics like Dr. Robert Malone or Naomi Wolf.

Further, after allowing Kanye “Ye” West back on Twitter, Musk banned him again after Ye tweeted this image during his “I like Hitler” meltdown last week.

(below that paragraph by Berenson, he posted a picture of Kanye’s tweet.)

“ In merging a Star of David and a swastika, the image conflates Jews and their Nazi killers. It is despicable.

But it isn’t a direct incitement to violence against any individual, or even against Jews in general.

    It simply offended Musk.”

Ok. That’s enough. In fact, chances are that’s far more than enough. I apologize for being so very very loquacious. Please go and read the rest of his article that in my opinion is very evenhanded how he is finding Elon Musk.

I happen to agree with Alex assessment of Elon’s 1st month in ownership, Of Twitter. Is it good? Oh hell yea!!!

OH HELL YEA!!!!! could it be better???? YOU BETCHA!!

Alex is dead on the dollar! Alex Berenson is SPOT—ON!! When he says that Elon Musk has to never forget why he bought the company to start off with.

He cannot waiver from that and he cannot be censoring people only because they piss them off. That’s exactly what the previous owners did.

    • Beryl of Oyl December 9, 2022 at 12:46 pm #

The voice of the people is the voice of God. An utterly grotesque sentiment that he does not believe in. No intelligent man does. He’s a trickster – but that does not make him bad in and of itself.

Ye was posting an image that is promulgated by the Rael Cult. Are they allowed on twitter? With that image?

In any case, there’s no way out but through. The Jewish death grip on our Nation must be broken. If you don’t see that, you’re part of the problem.

      • Alzaebo December 9, 2022 at 2:53 pm #

      • Woodchuck December 9, 2022 at 3:55 pm #

        “The voice of the people”?

Well, in my opinion, the voice of the people will be a completely mixed bag. And a significant part of what’s in the babble of voices in that bag will be of demonic origin. Not exactly what I would call the voice of God. Maybe the “voice of the people” is a concept that expressed itself in the ancient Babylonian fable about the tower of Babel. Language related confusion brought it down.

    • Mick December 9, 2022 at 2:05 pm #

This is horrific! Sadly–and this is another inconvenient truth: in most nations, especially “western” ones like Australia, the government is the real owner and parent of children. This is implied in the birth certificate. Getting a birth certificate implies ownership, and it ain’t by the parents.

A marriage license is more consent that the state has ultimate say over your kids, not to mention your marriage. The state agrees to ‘allow’ you to possess and rear the child….as long as you please the state’s dictates.

Also, if parents consent to the rounds of new born vaccines, that gives even more control to the state via implied consent. In Australia there may not be a choice there with vaxxes. In the US, so far, parents can still refuse the early round of vaxxes. But I’m sure that won’t be the case for long.

What that video shows is what the state can legally do because we collectively give it consent to do so, and have for many decades. I expect these scenarios will increase in the coming years because ‘The State’ is more powerful than ever.

And we ain’t seen nothing yet.

      • Mick December 9, 2022 at 2:11 pm #

….oh and when parents get their kids the Social Security card, that is game-set-match.

All nations have their equivalent. It is truly the Mark of the Beast. Your number that brands you.

In the US parents can still, so far, refuse to get a SS number for their children and let them decide when they’re 18. Sadly, my clueless parents….well they were just clueless. Dad was of course mind effed by the US Army.

Best I can tell is that the Western nations in general have completely lost the ability to elect qualified leaders. Either that, or there are no people left in these nations that have any leadership ability. It could be that deep down maybe most Westerners have given up. We don’t enjoy being alive in the first place, we’re tired, and just don’t care anymore what happens. Millions dying from side effects of vaccines? Yawn, who cares? What else is on tv? Where can I get some weed or some whiskey?

It’s a lazy Sunday morning in Jakarta and I’m mooning for a cigar, but I am compelled to affirm that the above is is one of the most incisive observations I’ve seen yet in a blog column of reliably-smart comments.

I only go back to Norteamerica for short visits, as it is too far, too expensive and I have no assets to oversee, so what’s the point. All but one relative are hard-shell Baptists so we have little in common (my brother and two sons died in a light twin crash in Hawaii in 1980).

I state the above to claim “special observer status” as I am able to look at my own [former] home culture with a familiar yet dispassionate eye.

“…given up…” certain explains much of what I’ve observed back home, or at least “…going through the motions…” Comfortable hopelessness pervades. See it on TV.

Can’t go back to Canadada, my second home, in the foreseeable future as I demure to submit to the clot-shots. It’s a pity because I think Canadians are basically better-balanced than their delirious wild-man neighbors to the south. Haven’t been inculcated with that “…greatest country in the world…” blather, for one thing.

Teach your children well at home and they might learn this valuable math lesson: I doubt they’d get this in any school, public or private.

There are 3 Native American women.
The first sleeps on a hippopotamus skin.
The second sleeps on a bear skin.
The third sleeps on a deer skin.

    The first has twin boys.
The other two each has a boy.

Thus, the squaw of the hippopotamus is equal to the sons of the squaws of the other two hides.

Old as the hills? Yeah, I know, but it sure beats any other tool I know for learning the Pythagorean Theorem.

Thus, the squaw of the hippopotamus is equal to the sons of the squaws of the other two hides. – tc

      ==========

I read this 3 or 4 times before I got what you were talking about, then I thought, pretty clever. However, something isn’t quite right. Let’s define what these words mean:

      squaw = square
      hippopotamus = hypotenuse
      sons = sum
      hides = sides

Putting it all together using the words following the equals signs we get:

the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides.

But this doesn’t work out right given the fact that 1 squared equals 1. I’m coming up with 4 = 1 + 1. What am I doing wrong?

      • niner December 9, 2022 at 3:42 pm #

the squaw root of the sons

        how about squash root.

        Isn’t this Pythagorus’s Theorum?

      • Disaffected December 9, 2022 at 4:40 pm #

It might be a handy memory mnemonic, but the numbers (he gives you all three sides) don’t produce a right triangle.

The hypotenuse should be the Sq Rt of 2 = 1.41421, or less than an actual son and a half, so maybe the kid did get squashed in the process. Shit happens!

        • Islander December 9, 2022 at 7:40 pm #

the hypotenuse would be the square root of 2, not 2.

          Right?

          Hmm.
Wouldn’t it be easier just to learn the theorum?

          A (2) + B (2) = C (2)?

Civilization means censorship, censoring the right things – which is vice. We let the pornographers use our freedoms against us. Made us think we had to allow everything or we were the bigots. No, they are. They’re against normalcy and decency.

      Wiki

The censor (at any time, there were two) was a magistrate in ancient Rome who was responsible for maintaining the census, supervising public morality, and overseeing certain aspects of the government’s finances.[1]

The power of the censor was absolute: no magistrate could oppose his decisions, and only another censor who succeeded him could cancel those decisions.

The censor’s regulation of public morality is the origin of the modern meaning of the words censor and censorship.[2]

Just now went out to the porch and collected my mail, and I have a new letter from the IRS.

They had a slew of new people with no idea what they are doing, before they went and hired 87,000 additional ones.

    • elysianfield December 9, 2022 at 12:53 pm #

      Beryl,
      You have my sympathy.

Don’t ignore them. The wheels of the government grind slowly, but grind they will.

    • Islander December 9, 2022 at 3:56 pm #

      Ugh.

      Same advice from me:

Keep clear track of the IRS “thread”—tht is,keep envelopes; write on document the date received; keep copy of your response and note on the doc the date mailed, also, tracking no./also take detailed notes if you have a phone conversation with them, note all numbers tried; length of time on hold; the name and ID number of the person you eventually speak to, etc.

In my experience this is the only way to deal with the IRS (to the extent that one can deal with them).

The IRS is a bunch of boobs; now multiply that by 87,000.

I had a six-month mail exchange with the Denver office that could have been orchestrated by Kafka. This was AFTER I had paid what I owed them (tax preparer’s error).

They sent multiple communications that directly contracted each other, didn’t respond to what I had done/paid/sent them/etc.

I am a bit compulsive about such things and in the end was glad that I had all the dates etc. in hand.

      Ugh.

      • Beryl of Oyl December 9, 2022 at 4:18 pm #

Thanks for the tips. They think I owe them money, when actually I probably overpaid by more than the amount they claim I owe.

They keep sending me letters than show that they haven’t even looked at any of the information I already gave to someone else.

        • Islander December 9, 2022 at 7:56 pm #

I called Denver as soon as I got the first letter.
I did eventually get a person on the line.
We went over the problem in the return.
My preparer had mistakenly doubled something so that in fact I did owe $XX. I was on extension, plus it was all late late rush rush, so I hadn’t actually looked at it before signing just to get it in the mail on Oct. 15.

I had filed an extension, yet they tried to fine me $250 for not filing a return. They had no record of the extension. I worked t things out nicely with this fellow—who advised me how to pay up quicly so that no more interest would be added. Which I did.

Then, over the next six months I kept getting more letters, none of which made sense. I kept them all, wlith the dates received, etc.

Then I finally sat down and wrote the supervisor (not the “real” person) in Denver whose name was in the upper-left corner a longish letter in which I detailed exactly how the nonsense had gone down, and how much time and money and paper they were wasting with the outrageous inefficiency. I got another letter after that, one that informed that I didn’t owe the IRS any money at that time . . . These are all form letters, with figures bunged in.

They are totally inefficient. It is pathetic.

We keep seeing these scumbags showing up protecting or promoting what?

Centralized power, socialism, the patricians run the plebeians, the elite, especially the academics know it all and are the folks that should run the world.

Folks, plain and simple, this is European socialism trying to take back that upstart USA who set up a country with a government that was restricted so Joe Average could manage himself, indeed, so Joe Average would select who was going to run the country.

The Deep State is the core of everything. People like Baker believe in centralized everything, law making and law enforcing. They will do anything, break every law to centralize things.

Dem vs. GOP, Left Vs, Right, both are obsolete. The electorate is pro centralized government now and will continue to be in the future. Uniparty is in place. Uniparty is not the victory of Dems over GOP, it is the realignment of American demographics, of American priorities, of American morality. Baker is just an enforcer along with many others.

Next step is the integration of the USA into the global organizations. It is important to realize that the element to be merged is huge, socialist in nature and power driven. Biden is a mockery, a tool of this group. Right now the only thing stopping the integration is the Supreme Court being central to right, but if the Congress figures out a way to dilute their power, integration will be facilitated.

Another factor, the Deep State is a Mob, a group more interested in its own power than the population they are working for. It is an East Coast mob. How the fly over states will react to the global integration should be interesting, starting with Texas.

One more, Californication. The West is being absorbed by California socialism. So much so that Sinema has switched to Independent because she cannot stomach the corruption of the Ult left any more. She sees the oncoming socialist drive and wants to stop it.

Throw in Manchin as a centrist and the supposed Dem majority disappears.

Interesting, the Senate may be even Steven due to centrist Dems, and the House by RINOs. Inability to get any spending passed, like student loan forgiveness, may make Biden use EOs. Then, here comes the Supreme Court.

These problems won’t go away until the US central government fails completely with secession taking hold and reality taking over. And there will be a lot of dying going on during the transition. Food might be scarce to unavailable because the trucks will stop running. The goods and services needed to support US suburbia will be gone, and we’ll be living in a post apocalyptic junkyard. With no imported goods coming in, we’ll be on our own and we’ll be forced to make do with what we have. And most of what we’ll have then will be the junk and scrap left over from the previous civilization. From that we’ll have to construct something temporary until we can get our domestic manufacturing up and running again. If we cannot or will not do this, then life here will be on a subsistance level and the life style will be something maybe just a bit better that what the folks in Haiti enjoy right now. With no fossil fuel inputs, our lifestyles will go back to the 1800’s. And there won’t be nearly as many people living here either.

Wonderful delineation, Jim. With the Left controlling the DOJ and the FBI we won’t have enough resources to root these people out any time soon, even with the House.

Elon Musk is a great starting point. How to get out of this before it gets worse? Where’s the leadership? Someone said that Trump is running against himself and losing. Don’t count on DeSantis.

Nothing changes until hundreds of thousands, if not millions, take to the streets in marches and demonstrations. Tucker has often asked, ‘why is all of this happening, why isn’t anyone doing anything about it?’ Because……?

    • Islander December 9, 2022 at 4:05 pm #

I think we need a clearer analysis, leading to a clearer focus of just why we are taking to the streets and exhorting others to do so.

Maybe so we plebes can discuss it before the mainstream “news” can spin it?

On the weekends they usually have different shows and anchors on the main “news” channels.

    • Islander December 9, 2022 at 4:07 pm #

      But why Bari Weiss?

My gut reaction to her is: Not credible.

Op-ed writer for NYT. Or perhaps former

      Joe Rogan took her down.

She may also be FBI controlled opposition.

      • Night Owl December 10, 2022 at 5:11 am #

No worse than Taibbi, who sat on the fence during most of the past 6 years. Moving in only when it was safe to do so.

IIRC, Weiss shifted her views on a number of issues several years ago.

        • Islander December 10, 2022 at 8:37 am #

          N.O.

True that Taibbi didn’t take all of the positions on Covid that I myself took.

One must not totally discount the possibility that people genuinely hold different opinions or reach different conclusions than one has done oneself.

But IMO Taibbi has done a heck of a lot more real journalism than Weiss.

In what areas has she changed her positions?

She made a total fool of herself on the Rogan show.

Disclosure: I cannot take seriously anyone who is a mouthpiece and advocate at such as the NYT for the Zionist state.

          • Mick December 10, 2022 at 9:16 am #

“Disclosure: I cannot take seriously anyone who is a mouthpiece and advocate at such as the NYT for the Zionist state.”

Completely agree. Not only is she an advocate for Zionism, she is quite the rabid proponent. And, ironically, or not, if she were in charge of Twitter you can bet your bottom shekel that she would cancel everyone who dared to criticize the Israeli government, army, and the Mossad.

Odd choice Elon. But, I’m not a fan and I’m not surprised.

          • Jarek December 10, 2022 at 1:30 pm #

Yes, Mick. The woke turned on her with a vengeance – but the far Left is right about the evils of Zionism. But of course they ruin it by being against all White nations and Western Civilization as a whole.

That’s what got Whoopi Goldberg her whooping: She said the Jews and non-Jews were “just” two groups of Whites in conflict. She said that those who had given her everything (this is how they think) were just another group of Whites. What an insult.

But they’re not completely wrong to think this way. Hollywood is theirs. They decide who becomes a star after all. And which stars fall from the sky….

          • Jarek December 10, 2022 at 1:35 pm #

And to be clear: If Elon tells all he knows, he’s a dead man. He has to curate it. Otherwise he’ll face the eventual fate of Assange. No one but Putin and the might of the Russian army could protect him at that point – assuming they Putin decided to give him sanctuary.

Would it be worth it to Putin? Is Elon really an engineering genius? Or would giving the West another black eye be reward enough?

“Evidence of that and much much more — including way-bigger shady deals with CCP cut-outs — lay moldering in the laptop the FBI just silently sat on.”

One would think after seeing that ceremony with all the world leaders in Chairman Mao garb to honor Xi that people would get a clue who’s leading the CBDC effort and created the template the WEF is following.

According to the leaks I saw from the Biden laptop before the election, the CCP’s opposition was trying to get all of this out (and succeeded to a degree). They probably didn’t expect the US deep state-owned media’s power to suppress truth being as strong as it is. Or maybe they did, but tried anyway.

I still find it nothing short of amazing that the business partner of the Bidens got on Fox news and spilled the beans, and it STILL came to nothing.

    Walter B

In the late 60’s and early 70’s the USAF fired BOMARC missles, or missles capable of being fired from a BOMARC site, and created barium clouds high in the atmosphere. The launch site was between Fort Walton Beach and Navarre, Florida. The barium cloud, if at sunset, could be seen as far away from the launch site as Tallahassee, Florida.

unless you have seen a missle jump up off the ground one does not understand current events

Thanks, JHK – this was superb. I’ve found this corner of our present chaos a bit hard to follow in all the details, and to put it together into a timeline that leaves out nothing significant. You’ve done that for me, and it’s appreciated. And with your usual sardonic humor.

“At what point in his arduous take-over of Twitter did Elon Musk realize that the package came with a joker in the deck: James A. Baker, formerly general counsel of the FBI? Did he wonder: what is this guy doing here?”

You know, one might get the notion that Big Tech and ‘The Government!’ are just One Big Happy Toxic Family.

We should know by now there is no separation at all among ‘The Government’, Big Tech, Major Corporations, the MIC (as well as the ‘KEY’…), The Medical Industrial Mafia, State Corporate Media, etc.

The question is… were we ever supposed to find this out? Did these Faux gods Among Us think that They could hide this reality forever? Or, did They know it would eventually come out but that by the time it did They would have soaked their rot so deeply into our sick and toxic way of life that it just wouldn’t matter?

Either way, mission accomplished. Our institutions and way of Life has been deliberately poisoned probably beyond repair.

Most people have the idea that a Cult is a sort of small group of nut cases off doing their own weird thing. That idea is wrong. Sometimes a Cult grows so large and powerful that it has consumed EVERYTHING. Maybe even the whole Planet.

And have you ever tried to converse with a member of Cult? Have you seen the blank, soul-less look in their eyes and the emptiness of Their thinking and the robotic thoughts and actions that They perform on auto-pilot? You simply can’t get through to Them. They are so deep into their Cult World that no other World exists for Them. You may as well be looked upon as an alien from another planet as far as these broken misfits are concerned.

We are all part of a massive Social and Cultural experiment. What happens when things get so broken and polluted and toxic at every level of Society and in every corner of the Planet?

I guess we’ll all find out. Anyone want to take bets on how all this all turns out?

One thing is for sure. A Holy Book does have a good answer for all this: ‘Resist the devil, and he will flee from you…’

Especially when the devil is a great big Cult.

That’s cognitive dissonance. Knowing the truth, but steadfastly refusing to acknowledge it for the pain that it causes.

It occurred to me that maybe the reason that Brittny was in solitary confinement was that the Russians knew that he is a man but didn’t want to allow the Mighty Wurlitzer to raise holy hell if they put him in a man’s prison.

The Mighty Wurlitzer is so powerful that most countries give up trying to counter it.

Hence, Iran pretended that they had a nuclear weapons program they were going to stop, so that they could have sanctions lifted. (Didn’t happen).

Russia pretended that a BUK missile shot down the Malaysian Airliner, even though witnesses saw two fighter jets flanking it and no one saw a missile. Then they tried to prove that the fragments presented to the press were not from them. (Didn’t work).

Saudi Arabia pretends that Khasoggi is actually dead, even though there was never a body and the story about the ”murder” changed daily. (The US still trashed MSB until a couple of days ago, then they dropped it.)

I watched a TV show about a female comedian and one of her running gags was about her burning down her husband’s garage.
She then tells her young writer that it never actually happened, but since the press insisted it did, she went along with it, because no one would print the truth.

I was like “Yes! I have seen that”.

And it turns out that Jerry Lee Lewis was called Killer since he was a teenager for some reason that didn’t actually involve him killing anyone. But then everyone started saying that he killed his wife, so he just let that slide and referred to himself as “Killer”.

You can’t fight the Mighty Wurlitzer.

    • WadeWaters December 9, 2022 at 3:52 pm #

‘Mighty Wurlitzer’. Didn’t Tom Wolfe first use that moniker in his book “The Right Stuff”?

“Saudi Arabia pretends that Kashoggi is actually dead,”

Are you saying that Khashoggi is still alive?

      • Paula D December 9, 2022 at 5:35 pm #

They never produced a body, just a shitload of different stories, none of which made any sense.

        Corpus delicti, is my belief.

        • Islander December 9, 2022 at 5:59 pm #

So you are saying, Produce the body?

I don’t think this is a strong argument that Kashoggi was not murdered.

The is the most obvious way to conceal a crime is to disappear the evidence, especially of course the weapon and the body.

That’s why the Mob uses concrete overcoats, like with Jimmy Hoffa.

In fact, that is the point of quite a few murders—just “disappear” the person. Also, in Argentina dissenters were just disappeared. So was the body of Osama bin Laden.

The whole point of the way the Kashoggi murder was carried out was to cut up the body in pieces to get it out of the embassy.
Obviously, from the embassy, they couldn’t put the body in the overcoat, wait for it to set, and then drive out of town unobtrusively to heave it into a nearby swamp such as New Jersey’s Meadowlands (where Hoffa allegedy ended up).

          • Paula D December 9, 2022 at 8:36 pm #

OK, you believe that ”they cut up his body and carried it back to SA in suitcases” version, not the ”they buried him in the garden” version, or the “they dissolved in in acid” version or the “they dropped him down the well” version.

I just believe one fewer version than you do.

          • Paula D December 9, 2022 at 8:38 pm #

Do you believe the “they cut him up with bonesaws while he was still alive and the butcher wore headphones” version or the “they killed him as soon as he walked into the embassy” version?

            Inquiring minds want to know.

          • Islander December 10, 2022 at 12:10 am #

Well, I have lost track of the disposal versions.

But where is the living man, then?

Do you believe he faked his death?

Maybe to get away from the Turkish fiancee??

          • Jarek December 10, 2022 at 1:08 am #

Paula no doubt has some ideological reason for believing that he is still alive. One is reminded of Aristotle who had some reason for believing women had a different number of teeth than men. Asking his wife to open her mouth so he could count them never occurred to him.

She denounced me as a Fauci stooge above. Much like a reactionary perhaps? A secret Capitalist sympathizer?

          • Paula D December 10, 2022 at 12:15 pm #

I just don’t believe that a Saudi national living in the US had to go to Turkey to get a divorce from the wife he had married only 5 months before.

I don’t believe that a country that executes multiple people every Friday would try to hide an execution of one guy.

I have no idea what happened to him, I just don’t believe the story the Mighty Wurlitzer put out. And it happened at a time when the US was putting pressure on Saudi Arabia, although I don’t remember the particulars and I’m certainly not going to spend any time searching.

In a world of 8 billion people one innocuous looking wealthy man would have no problem living undetected, imo.

          • Jarek December 10, 2022 at 1:54 pm #

In other words, Saudi Arabia is now an ally of Russia so the Leader of your party dictated this meme.

And I get to re-experience this the likely 3 or 4 times at a minimum I’m going to revisit it, and this for a number of reasons, not the least of which is:

“…. How much did he have to say about censoring the life-and-death information surrounding the pandemic? Did he stifle debate about the early treatment medications — ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, Vitamin D, etc. — that could have saved many thousands of lives otherwise sacrificed to the medical establishment’s Moloch of intubation-and-remdesivir?”

In the old days, we would’ve called its wife a “fag hag.”

      More humiliation ritual.

      • Islander December 9, 2022 at 8:12 pm #

With all due respect, I don’t think the wife would have been called a fag hag.

Fag hags are women who enjoy the company of homosexuals socially. Not sexually.

This wife is married to and presumably has a sexual relationship with either

a man who is pretending to be a trans-woman,

or a man pretending to be a normie woman who is a lesbian,

        or an actual lesbian.

In none of these cases is the wife a fag hag because she is a “wife” and Griner does not present as a homosexual.

“Ye is revealing the method. I go over the symbol that got him banned [from Twitter] & the tentacles that come off of it. This is DEEP!”

    I agree.

I have always found Polly St. George to be a really amazing researcher, thinker, and dot-connector. With a nice voice.

It’s hard to live up to a name like Polly St George. Look at poor Karine Jean Pierre. All she is is just a dramatic name. The sass is brass!

Rael is important though, and I’ll try to get around to it. The Zionist super-tribe, a nascent nation without borders at the time, helped to inspire the creation of the Nazism that sought to thwart them.

And this from a guy called Jarek!

What the hell kind of a name is Jarek?

          Well, maybe it’s Czech.

In any case, Polly St. George Canadian, and I assume that her family of origin is French-Canadian.

Polly is a common nickname of those with the given name Mary.

          Jeez . . .

And BTW, it looks like no one here has taken the trouble to take a look at Polly St. George’s material on Musk.

I just finished reading a novel titled Commonwealth by Ann Patchett (winner of all kinds of awards) and it has made me realize that I have lived a very boring life and am a very boring person.

    • Jarek December 10, 2022 at 1:05 am #

No, you focused on things that interested you. Things that bore everybody else. Someone had to do it. Human beings are very specialized. That specialization is actualized fully in advanced Western cultures – so much so that we begin to lose our humanity and common culture.

    • Q. Shtik December 10, 2022 at 12:33 pm #

a novel titled Commonwealth by Ann Patchett – Q.

      =============

      I recommend this novel.

If you decide to read it be advised that it has so many characters, husbands and wives who divorce and remarry (sometimes more than once), children and step children, etc. etc. that you will become hopelessly lost unless you keep a log of names and their relation to other characters. I failed to do this.

I learned what I perceive as a helpful trick in writing that distinguishes mere straight forward linear prose into “literature.” Namely, jumping forward and backward in time without explanation or forewarning. Also the leaving out of entire periods (years, even decades) of a character’s life, then picking up again with the character’s life which is now so incredibly different than one might have expected.

      • MaryQueen December 10, 2022 at 9:48 pm #

Sounds like your run of the mill soap opera.

        • Q. Shtik December 10, 2022 at 10:05 pm #

          I wouldn’t know. I’ve never watched a soap opera.

          • MaryQueen December 10, 2022 at 11:13 pm #

Well, now you’ve apparently read one.

    • Anthea December 10, 2022 at 3:42 pm #

The book, “The Goldfinch” was like that.

As far as leading a boring life is concerned, not everybody is lucky enough to have their mom killed an explosion in an art gallery–though many people do lead very interesting lives without that advantage.

      • Islander December 10, 2022 at 9:29 pm #

  49. tucsonspur December 10, 2022 at 4:33 am #

I think we need a clearer analysis, leading to a clearer focus of just why we are taking to the streets and exhorting others to do so.

A tough one, because fundamental reasons for protest and demos, such as election chicanery, have been criminalized and now are also being “psychiatrized.” Islander

Analysis paralysis, but I think I get your point. Are all of the Democratic outrages of too little impact, the open border just a breach of national etiquette? Is the enemy too ethereal?

Is protesting legally and peacefully now really criminalized, or do you mean ‘protest’ like Jan. 6th? God, say it isn’t so!

The Dems had some good focal points, George Floyd and Jan. 6th to name two, besides the demonization of Trump.

I wonder what would have happened if Trump had been shot dead before the election, I wonder if even that would have moved enough people to effective, large scale, concerted protest, better yet explosive, rampaging riots targeting Democratic centers nationwide and DC itself. Sad to say, probably not.

Millions of Jacobins and Berserkers storming DC, what a sight that would be, with great Revolutionary war art to follow, virile paeans to victory!

      Spur

TJ stated in the Declaration that if a state becomes oppressive against the people,it is the people’s responsibility to rise up and change that government.

The Uniparty is such an oppressive government and is progressing more and more.

Jan6 was an attempted demonstration to show Congress specifically that the people would fight back against the tyranny of the Deep State. It was not a coup, not enough people not enough guns. It really showed the cowardice of the members of Congress who did not have the cojones to face up to the protestors.

“How dare these people try to tell us what to do..”

IMHO, the only road to success for the anti Deep State folks, fly over and western folks, is withdrawal from the USA and setting up of their government using the Constitution as its framework. It needs to be done at the state level, the level that the Constitution says is a power divide by amendment 10.

There is no way the city liberals of both coasts and the flyover folks will ever agree on anything. The great majority of the country is Red geographically and needs to stop kow towing to the cities. 2 weeks of cutoff by the truckers RRs and farmers ought to stop the power of the Deep State. The Mob needs to have it shoved up where the sun doesn’t shine.

Your approach is a good one, thinking along the lines of practical solutions, but the difficulty lies in the implementation of those solutions. It’s certainly better than civil war, but isn’t it possible that the actions you propose could actually foment such a war?

        It’s a tough one alright.

I’m watching the news today, and the number of invaders coming across the border just continues to grow. I really do want to go down there and let my AR-15 do some talking while I shout, ‘say hello to my little friend’! But I don’t go. The nation doesn’t go.

So, there we go adrift on tempest tossed seas, trying not to be drowned in the Democratic deep, wandering in the dangerous Democratic desert without compass, with more wishes than water.

Drastic change is needed soon. If not, anomie will abound, and resignation will reign. It’s the slow boil again. IMHO, that’s what looms on the horizon. Compliance and resignation, discontent among the disunionists who can only dream about what used to be and better days ahead.

        Maybe Hamlet is appropriate here:

‘Thus conscience does make cowards of us all,
And thus the native hue of resolution
        Is sickled o’er with the pale cast of thought;
And, enterprises of great pith and moment,
With this regard, their currents turn awry
And lose the name of action.’

Our resolve, if we ever really had any, evolves and dissolves into a restive resignation with maybe some hope of future retribution.

And who runs them? The Rothschilds. We’re a Plutocracy.

Maybe even Xi had to agree to kill off a few hundred million of his own people if he wants to play ball with them.

Of course they’re bitter that they can’t just take over China like they did the West.

The Chinese loved the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. They admire what the Jews have done and want the chance to do the same to us. They have no intention of letting themselves be corrupted and taken over. So some of them may not be happy with Xi being in bed with these people at all.

Baker is one smug bastard, to be sure. Also a genius. It is truly sad that high positions in our government, especially those whose activities remain largely in the shadows, attract at best sociopaths, and at worst psychopaths.

Pretty sure Baker is in the socio category; keenly aware of the exploitable faults in those around him, out for his own self-interest, and not capable of feeling emotion or empathy for his fellow man. Truly a smart POS who does no good for us, but doesn’t care.

Twitter is the perfect place for him. And as long as Musk keeps him on hand, Twitter is still strongly in the hands of shadow oversight.

Thank God I don’t give a rat’s balls about Twitter…but that doesn’t change the fact that the majority of the ‘civilized’ world does.

    • MaryQueen December 10, 2022 at 10:38 am #

    • JohnAZ December 10, 2022 at 10:48 am #

      He cares.

He believes in the Leftist ideal, that government should run the people.

      Red and Blue cannot coexist.

He will do anything to promote the Uniparty despotic Deep State.

Like the rest of the DC Mob.

      • MrMangoOnMyShoulder December 10, 2022 at 11:03 am #

        Red and Blue cannot coexist.

Can’t we, though? We certainly did when I was a kid. And we have for about 230 years of our history, minus that, err, little civil fracas.

Perhaps right now it’s a downturn phase where we will literally get to the point that we can’t coexist. But I don’t think we’re there, as we still have some polite company mingling on both sides.

Sadly, I think the old standby, war, is what can bring us back together…unless it’s between ourselves. And even then, it would likely be temporary (a generation or two).

        • JohnAZ December 10, 2022 at 11:25 am #

The only problem is that the Blue side has been successful at pulling off the Uniparty. You will soon see how little impact the conservative side has. Red wave my butt.

Another issue of your we will all get along message is that the Democratic dogma is going to destroy the country. Are Reds going to put up with that!

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder December 10, 2022 at 1:08 pm #

I don’t mean to be optimistic, as that is against my general nature…but I do think there will be an “enough’s enough” moment for half of the country. Sadly, we will have to become activists like the Dems, as it turns out it works. But once you organize, you get infiltrated. We don’t have the leader(s) we need to pull off such a feat. The left don’t either, but the behind the scenes string-pullers know what they’re doing. Let’s just hope it’s not done with a bullet unless it is a forced situation, as the govt will roll in and quash hard, with supposed justification.

Really no idea why they want to pull down Western Civ. It literally provided for their present comfort, as well as the rest of us. But I digress…

          • Jarek December 10, 2022 at 2:10 pm #

Red is Capitalist. Blue is Communist. But the problem is that Capitalism funded Communism. They are one system, with the Capitalists in ultimate control.

I don’t say it’s easy. They lost control of both of the biggest revolutions. Russia is now Fascist. And China now National Socialist, apparently, though some of the Chinese Elite may have made a deal with the Devil to betray their own people.

Thus this was always coming, John. It was well begun even before your birth. As Marx said, political organization follows economics. I would add: If allowed to. Water will flow and fall unless damned up. Fascism and National Socialism damns up the power of the Bankers and Corporate giants and makes them serve the people. Your idea of letting them do what they want gets us to where we are: Catastrophe.

Isn’t it time you admit this and repent? Have a fundamental metanoia or change of mind and heart?

My mistake, read too quick and missed the obvious. Though it would appear you may have a complex as well, if you think I have a complex about you.

That said, historically speaking, I wouldn’t be wrong to expect persecution from you on a semi-regular basis.

          • Jarek December 11, 2022 at 1:33 pm #

I do it to everyone who is at all interesting, Mango. Why? Because so very little can be said in “real” life. You have admitted as much many times in regards to most of your friends and family. Why carry this onerous burden of taboo onto the web?

Here we can be free(er)! In a way, that makes this more real than ordinary life, at least in some regards.

One Canadian woman once said she got a funny feeling in her head every time she read my posts. High praise! That was her dormant brain cells coming back to life.

  53. MrMangoOnMyShoulder December 10, 2022 at 9:47 am #

In other news, I offer a ray of hope. Having traveled with the family to the national hotbed of liberal “whatevery” (Portland, OR) last week, I expected more of the covid same from two years ago.

I saw maybe 1 in 40 people wearing masks in the airport, on the plane, and out in public. I expected the ratio to be far greater.

Even the previously-terrified restaurants in Portland are wide open to the public sans mask. The tent cities along the freeway (!) are a story for another day, but I digress.

While there, I helped a family member (staunchly covid-aware, and still can’t stop talking about it as a dangerous fact) fix the dishwasher that had come loose. It involved a masonry drill and lots of awkward upward drilling to seat new masonry screws in granite. He and I went back and forth on the job until we got deep enough in the stone. Due to the flying rock flakes in the air, a mask was actually a good idea. To my surprise, we used one mask (that was his wife’s) that we passed back and forth as we worked. Not a concern in the world for the germs from huffing and puffing being passed back and forth.

I was surprised at his lack of concern, but as I didn’t care, it was fine by me.

So…ray of hope…that even the most NYT indoctrinated and concerned are…not actually concerned at this point. I presume the talking points will remain, but in action, they are not being addressed as reality by the farthest to the ‘educated’ left.

Mom still rails about Trump (“Mr. T”) at every random mention in the paper. I tried to tell her they just cover him because it sells papers and riles people up as they are inclined. Once I received backup from another family member on the topic, she acquiesced and turned the page.

Anyway, no one got sick, a good family visit was had by all, and we saw redwoods and volcanoes, to the delight of my boy.

    • SoftStarLight December 10, 2022 at 12:35 pm #

That is good news. Glad that ya’ll had a nice trip! I still sometimes very occasionally see people driving around with masks on. And it’s weird too because like nobody wears them in stores and other places for the most part from what I see. For those people it seems like the mask has become something like a blankie lol.

    • WadeWaters December 10, 2022 at 3:23 pm #

No redwoods in Oregon. They start in N. California and thin out in the Big Sur range just north of San Luis Obispo. But, yeah, living on the central coast of California there is no shortage of indoctrinated lefties. Not as bad as Portland, though. I call those people ‘NPR indoctrinated liberals’.

      • MrMangoOnMyShoulder December 10, 2022 at 6:48 pm #

Huh. I guess the Hoyt Arboretum in western Portland is lying about the types of trees they care for there. Also, my eyes must have been lying too? There weren’t a million of them like in CA, but they were redwoods, tall as the day is long.

      • benr December 10, 2022 at 1:07 pm #

Hah it’s not about reality I have decided I am identifying as 100% African from the Zulu tribe.
My ancestors were stolen by Arab raiders, spirited away to a Dutch boat and picked cotton in Virginia only to be abused by Massa.

        Who can prove me wrong?

        • Islander December 10, 2022 at 1:19 pm #

Anyway, you can say you identify as Zulu.

          • Islander December 10, 2022 at 1:21 pm #

Actually, it just occurs to me, the whole “trans-woman” BS is an obvious case of cultural appropriation.

If a white guy says he feels like he is reallya woman, no one says Boo.

But what if he says he identifies as a Native American woman???

            Cultural appropriation!!

            Has anyone tried this?

          • MaryQueen December 10, 2022 at 1:52 pm #

Yes, other people up here and I have been saying for months that the trans identified men are in womanface, which is pretty much like blackface. I don’t see the difference. If the latter is offensive, then the former should be seen as offensive, as well.

          • Jarek December 10, 2022 at 2:20 pm #

            Enough of your womynsplainin’, Mary!

Women who larp as men are in manface. And as you have so rightly said, they are now the majority of “faces”.

          • Islander December 10, 2022 at 4:04 pm #

It can be and has been argued that males and females do constitute two separate cultures. This is patently obvious from films such as Tootsie and Some Like It Hot. The males disguised and “hiding” as women end up being inducted into the actual culture of women as opposed to the cultural facade. That was part of the premise of those two films.

Much as families/tribes are also separate cultures, or maybe subcultures.

So a man who forces others to treat him like a woman and who actually thinks he is a woman or pretends to think this = that guy is guilty of cultural appropriation.

For some reason as far as I can make out (my evidence is limited) the social/legal/psychological problems and conflicts associated with trans-men are trivial compared to the vice-versa situation.

            Why would that be?
            1. Because men have always been dominant and everyone knows that a trans-man will never dominate nor be a danger to real men? A trans-man is always at a disadvantage among men?

            2. Because women dressing up as men has always been considered “cute” (e.g., Judy Garland) whereas men dressing up as women has been considered ludicrous (Braveheart/kilts don’t count!)??

          • MaryQueen December 10, 2022 at 8:08 pm #

Show me a woman in ‘man face’ Jarek. Would that be when women go without make-up?

The new girl at work identifies as a male though she does nothing to look male or act male – at least at work. Maybe she dates women.

So in cases like that, your are right: no man face.

The young Jacinda was a beautiful girl. She must have transitioned to being male and then decided to be a m2f tranny.

Same. Western Ireland, Galway to be exact. As pure White as the test can test for.

But in fact, I have at least three ethnic strands: The old ones who were the first in Ireland after the ice melted. The dark haired Mediterraneans (the Jasmines) famers who somehow ended up there. And the Celts who came later and conquered both groups.

      • SoftStarLight December 10, 2022 at 4:09 pm #

I think I read that the Jasmines were Iberians. According to some accounts the Iberians were scattered broadly throughout Western Europe prior to the arrival of the Celts or Gauls as they were sometimes called by the Romans.

It is currently 40 degrees below zero F in Yakutsk (Sp?) Russia and the predicted low is -50 F.

    • SoftStarLight December 10, 2022 at 12:09 pm #

And what do you think about that Q? It sounds kinda cold. I saw a video one time of people in Siberia throwing pots of boiling water into the air in those types of temperatures. The water would flash freeze and there was this crackling explosion sound and lots of steam and vapor and the ice chunks would fall to the ground. It was neat!

      • Q. Shtik December 10, 2022 at 2:43 pm #

And what do you think about that Q? – SSL

        ===========

I spent 3 winters in Duluth, MN while in the Air Force and once experienced -38 F. I tried spitting upward into the air to see if it would turn to ice before hitting the ground. It didn’t but probably turned to ice within a couple of seconds on the ground.

I’ve been fascinated with places that have extremely cold temps ever since my stint in Duluth. I have Yakutsk on my favorites list and I check its temp daily. The predicted -50 F is the lowest number I’ve seen.

Some other places I check regularly are Fort Yukon, Alaska (currently +5 F), Caribou, Maine (+23 F) and International Falls, MN (+29 F). These 3 seem to be having a hot spell at the moment.

        • stelmosfire December 10, 2022 at 3:04 pm #

What about Peter Sinks, UT. Very often the record low in the lower 48. -12 today.

        • SoftStarLight December 10, 2022 at 4:34 pm #

That is very interesting Q. It’s funny to consider that below freezing is a hot spell but I suppose for areas that are almost tundra like that would be the case at this time of year.

    • Jarek December 10, 2022 at 2:27 pm #

Yes, Jack London said your spit will freeze before it hits the ground. In his classic story (read it!) “To Build a Fire”, the character is told that no man should travel alone on the Klondike, no matter how experienced, when it is below 50 below. If you get wet by falling thru the ice of a hot spring, you will not be able to build a fire to warm yourself up and dry your clothes. Your hands will freeze immediately upon taking off your gloves and will not have the requisite dexterity.

    • stelmosfire December 10, 2022 at 3:02 pm #

-40 F, pffft. In Oymyakon 400 miles east of Yakutsk it’s -72. It’s a left turn off the “Road of Bones” There just getting started. Winter doesn’t begin for almost 2 more weeks. They do close schools when it gets to -70.

For a moment, let’s forget about the weather in Russia, let’s look instead at the USA. From the electroverse website:

“According to data just in from NOAA, November 2022 in the United States (Lower 48) was colder-than-average.

The temperature, as per the government agency, averaged out at 40.95F, which is 2.03F below the multidecadal norm.

America’s cooling helped drive the overall global average temperature down last month, from 0.32C to 0.17C above baseline.”

      (end of quoted text)

Right now, cold weather temperature records are being set world wide. We’re seeing some crazy and powerful storm activity coming to the US this week, and it’s due to the northern jet stream weaving and waving way down into southern areas. The jet stream is wavy instead of straight due to reduced solar activity. The Eastern Pacific is cooling down, something that’s not supposed to be happening according to the climate alarmists. Bitter cold air is also coming down into western Europe. UK has blizzards in their forecasts. At some point, after large numbers of people are dead because of abnormally cold weather, climate idiots everywhere will give up on their scam and their blind hysteria.

      Ain’t that right K-Hund?

We have had a much colder fall than average. In fact, we really didn’t have much of a fall at all. It went from summer to fall in like 2 weeks.

And this coming week, we’ll be down to 10 degrees at night with a high of 19 or so.

Welllll, it goes like this. White skinned people do well in Northern climates and the weaker sun in the North doesn’t affect white human skin the way it does at the equator. So dark skinned people are suited well for hot sunny climates. And the whites do well up north. After we are fully engaged in this next grand solar minimum that’s just started (signaled by little to no sunspots), dark skinned people will be leaving Northern European areas, partly forced out by the famines that result from climate disruptions.

Humanity will be hit by a double whammy. We’ll have both famine and cold going on at the same time, GREATLY exacerbated by human global warming stupidity and human warfare. The loss of our global food supply will be the result. A side effect of horrific cold weather coming will the way it will aid Russia. Russia’s greatest victories over the West occured in the past with some help from God via bitter cold weather. Russia is used to the cold, Western Europe not so much.

Breaking News from Qatar!!!!! from ZH:

“American journalist Grant Wahl collapsed and died while covering the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He was 48 years old.
Wahl was reportedly stricken in the press area of the Argentina-Netherlands match at the Lusail Iconic Stadium.
Officials said he received immediate medical attention and was subsequently transferred to Hamad General Hospital prior to his death.”

He reported feeling a tightness and pressure in his chest a few days prior. Of course, no one is connecting dots here, but rather dumping instead on Qatar, who Wahl reported was insensitive to migrant worker deaths building the stadium (A Filipino died of head trauma in a forklift accident). What is Qatar supposed to do? Cancel the event? Deconstruct the stadia?

Wahl wore a rainbow t-short to one event and was not allowed entry and told to take it off, among other indignities. His brother, who is gay, says that he is the reason Wahl wore the shirt, and he is convinced his brother was killed.

Well bro, he was killed but not the way you think.

Further when my daughter started attempting to bring home darker skinned boys with dark eyes, I sat her down and asked her what she wanted her children to look like and what culture she wanted them to be part of.
I pointed out bring home the ghetto get the ghetto and used several acquaintances that married into both black families and Mexican families.
She dumped the Tahitian kid with zero future as a result and then the nice Mexican kid after his own parents at a meet everyone dinner asked her point blank what she saw in their own son.
He was 20 worked at Seaworld was dumb as a brick, already had budding man boobs and was homely but very nice.
She then brought home the white kid she eventually married.
Her husband’s family are nuts, his mom is a drunk and drug addict who likes drama and believes her own lies and his dad is ex-navy who babbles non-stop about his glory days in the Navy.
I can only imagine how hard it would have been if there was also a racial and cultural difference.

          • Jarek December 10, 2022 at 2:56 pm #

Firstly, this sentence needs work: She dumped the Tahitian kid with zero future as a result and then the nice Mexican kid after his own parents at a meet everyone dinner asked her point blank what she saw in their own son.

But I admit it’s good that the parents realized their son was a neer do well. Many in Latin America understand race btw. Do you think the Mexican Elite are something other than White? Do you think they have any illusions about this?

I’ve recently met many fine Hispanics, both White and Mestizo. The problem is with the latter since – no matter how well raised – mixing with them will vastly lower our collective IQ. The cultural issues blend in with this issue, since lower IQ people aren’t interested in higher Western Culture – just as low IQ Whites aren’t.

I said nothing about illegal immigration. Letting low IQ immigrants in legally will do the same thing. Or “refugees” (the old semantic trick Alba used to use).

“All men are created equal” – no they’re not. Jefferson was talking about Whites. He certainly didn’t believe Indians or Blacks were equal. Yet he foolishly wrote it and it has been used to hammer us for generations now.

“Or “refugees” (the old semantic trick Alba used to use).”

What a surprise. I’m not commenting so Jarek the lying toad does it again.

I have never confused immigrants – legal or otherwise – with refugees. You may amalgamate them into one category of ‘foreigners I don’t want in my country’, but they are two distinct legal categories.

Case in point: the Albanians brh mentioned are not in any way refugees because their country is not at war and they are not persecuted gays or whatever. They cannot therefore seek asylum, so are, by definition, not asylum seekers (aka refugees). I know very little about that particular situation, except what I have heard recently – (a) that they seem to be primarily young men, (b) that many of them seem to be criminals and (c) that Tony Blair seems to have had some kind of hand in them being here (I’ve only heard all of this as hearsay, hence the repeated use of ‘seem/s).

Anyway, ‘refugee’ is a legitimate category, separate from ‘economic migrant or immigrant’. As a signatory to the relevant protocol in 1951 or 1952 or whenever it was, the country has legal obligations to consider requests for asylum. You may not like this, but it is the law and is separate from other forms of immigration.

One incidence I specifically recall many years ago was pointing out to you, lying toad, that David Cameron (a horrible person but in this he was right) only allowed a small number of vulnerable Syrian refugees into the country while focusing the UK’s financial efforts on supporting refugees in situ, i.e. in safe parts of Syria or in neighbouring countries. (Incidentally, you choose to never acknowledge how many refugees are taken in by actual neighbouring countries.)

Of course everything in the Middle East is complicated by the original fact of the West’s meddling (aka slaughtering and exploiting) there.

Jarek I mostly right in his arguments here. Take away skin color and add in ethnicity.

America stands for a European based culture period. Letting in folks that want their culture to supplant America’s is the biggest mistake since Rome let in the Goths and Visigoths that finally destroyed the Empire.

GA, same for Scotland. Scots have been fighting England since 1100s, trying to keep their “freedom”. Why the interest in bringing in people from Africa and the Middle East. That goes for all of Europe.

American Mobs want the indigent into this country as they are government dependent and will vote in the future to maintain their gimme status. Could it be the huge increase in voters across the country since 2020, Trump 72 million, Biden 80 million, is based on illegals voting and not being challenged. Arizona is a perfect microcosm of what could be a national trend. Illegals voting will guarantee a Uniparty based on the Deep State.

State Democratic organizations know they can get away with this. Why? Because the media and the judiciary will not do anything about it in hindsight. The citified process where just enough illegal ballots are counted to overcome the GOP leads is becoming wide spread. The barrios created in US cities make this an easy process to operate. And again, it will not ever be investigated as the states will defend their election systems. Look at Arizona, turning from a ultra Red state in 2016 into a Blue state in 2022.

Impossible even if the illegals somehow all turned into citizens overnight. Kari Lake had a Mission Impossible along with the entire state slate of officers. With a Blue government serving a Progressive idiot, Uniparty is here to stay in Arizona, and locked in.

And the antiAmeican immigrants just keep rolling in. The Mob will never attempt to stop them, they are the future of Biden’s Amerika.

A real question is why? Why is the Left a group of treasonous scum that would have been executed 70 years ago? If the goal is linking up with the global organizations, I an afraid it is close to fait accompli. 2022 did that. 2024 is already in the bank for the Dems as everyday thousands more potential Democrat voters cross the border.

Before she got knocked up, I saw a picture of this kid and warned him if she had any kids, he was going to wind up raising them.
He also told me he was going to cosign for a pretty expensive trailer to which I said have fun making the payments.
They lived in it long enough to have twins and then he went to jail.
Their trailer was tore up, filthy, and missing parts so he got less than 1/4 what he paid for it when he sold it.

We found out after the fact This kid took part in devil worship, shook one of his babies so hard he was brain damaged, but I would suggest both the kids got this treatment.
He went to jail for shaking the babies and stealing a large amount of cash money from his place of employment and is now serving time somewhere in San Diego County.

The US has quietly given Ukraine the go-ahead to launch long-range strikes against targets inside Russian territory, The Times reported on Friday, citing sources. The Pentagon has apparently changed its stance on the matter as it has become less concerned that such attacks could escalate the conflict.

According to a US defense source interviewed by the outlet, the Pentagon is now “not saying to Kiev, ‘Don’t strike the Russians [in Russia or Crimea].’

“We can’t tell them what to do. It’s up to them how they use their weapons,” he said, adding that Washington only demands that Kiev conforms to international law and the Geneva conventions when using US-supplied weapons.

However, the Pentagon has revised the evaluation of threats linked to the Ukraine conflict, particularly on whether providing Kiev with arms might trigger a direct clash between NATO and Russia, the report says.

We’re still using the same escalatory calculations but the fear of escalation has changed since the beginning,” a US official told the outlet, arguing that the calculus had changed due to “brutality the Ukrainians are being subjected to by the Russians.”

Against this backdrop, Pentagon officials are now reportedly “seriously” considering Ukraine’s requests for long-range weapons that could be used for strikes deep inside Russia. “Nothing is off the table,” a senior US defense official told The Times.

Jarek: Uh oh. Here it comes! Duck, cover, and glow in the dark time. Remember what the guy told Repo Man: Radiation is good for you. As Gustaph said, it will help you mutate! Don’t you want your kids to be better’n you? Alright then.

FWIW Martin Armstrong’s Socrates (AI predictor/modeler) has been flashing war signals for some time. While Armstrong has been a bit vague about whether the Big One is 23 or 24 or 25 there is enough dry tinder to ignite now. Col Douglas MacGregor, outspoken critic of US/NATO policy recently interviewed by Napolitano (The Saker links) suggests the quasi-Nato mercenaries already fighting in Ukraine are being funneled into the Bakhmut defense which is exactly where the Russians want them so to annihilate efficiently. This will be a come-to-Jesus moment for NATO who will invade from the West and directly engage the now massive Russian/Belarus buildup. NATO will lose. The US will not be able to accept defeat and will escalate to nuclear. Biden has reneged officially on the no first strike policy. MacGregor points out that if the RUssians detect movement of NATO nuclear assets they will pre-emptively strike. All the dominos are set up.

If you live near a military target in the US there’s not much you can do, short of drinking better wine. In the hinterlands it’s a crapshoot depending on weather which will be affected in unknown ways.

      • Billy Hill December 10, 2022 at 8:51 pm #

I posit you are all wrong. The insane people believe they can survive underground in their Continuity of Government bunkers.

They have misjudged the element of pre-emptive strike with weapons against which there is no defense. There will be no warning, no air raid sirens. Well, maybe a few seconds worth — assuming they exist and are functional. When was the last time anyone went through an air raid drill? 1962 maybe? I remember all those triangular yellow civil defense placards scattered about. Do they have any meaning anymore?

The Russians may have a chance defending themselves given their weapons development. The USA went in a different direction philosophically and technologically and thus we are left with the Patriot missile defense system — recall the first gulf war? It didn’t work well then, it didn’t work against Houthi drones, and it sure ain’t gonna protect against incoming hypersonics. Is anyone surprised the Indians and Turks — to name two — have bought the Russian S-400? The S-500 upgrade is already in production and the 550 is in testing.

Preppers have been saying for years — get out of the major urban areas. Typically for reasons other than nuclear war. It may be that the time is upon us now — and not only because of civic governance collapse and anarchy (Target estimate $600M hit to margins in 2023 from retail theft. Just one data point.). It is no longer even a Red versus Blue thing (as in, vote Red in and enjoy nirvana). The decay is terminal, the hubris is terminal. With a lot of luck we might avoid some of the above but to what end?

        • MaryQueen December 10, 2022 at 9:04 pm #

Meh. If there is a nuclear war I don’t want to survive it, and there’s nothing I can do about it anyway.

            Good old Mary!

Mountain Home AFB is a primary target. About 40 miles southeast of you. You might be alright since the wind seldom blows from that direction.

            Boise is a tertiary target.

          • MaryQueen December 11, 2022 at 4:38 pm #

That works for me! Rather be at ground zero than dealing with the fallout.

Why would anyone want to live in a nuclear dystopia?

          • Blackbird December 11, 2022 at 7:28 pm #

I totally agree. A post-apocalyptic world would not be worth attempting to live in. If there ever is a nuclear war, I hope to get enough warning to travel to one of the closer ground-zeros.

We’re all gonna die someday. Best to get over those irrational fears, and plan a worthwhile exit strategy.

I almost hope for a nuclear war, since I think that would be the only fire capable of cleansing the sick world we have created for ourselves.

      • Jarek December 11, 2022 at 2:03 pm #

      • JohnAZ December 11, 2022 at 10:56 am #

There is no alternative to nuclear energy in the future. Might be fusion, probably fission.

A good reason to develop heavy lifters to kick the waste into solar orbit.

Better hurry up to as it takes 20 to 30 years to build safe nuclear plants and that is about when oil and gas will start petering out.

Unless of course, the abiotic folks are right and we will just keep pumping out of our Flat Earth.

Are you 30 year olds willing to put all your eggs in that basket? For your survival, I hope not.

If abiotic sources exist, why are we drilling five miles below the Gulf and spending much more money fracking that just drilling into the refilled field. How come SA is becoming stingier with its water surged oil and the power of the Caspian region away from Baku is increasing.

Xi is in SA this week to try to make the Yuan the reference monetary unit to buy SA oil with. Another blow against the incompetents in DC.

          JohnAZ.

“Unless of course, the abiotic folks are right and we will just keep pumping out of our Flat Earth.”

You totally missed the point, although I made it repeatedly.

          I’ll say it again:
The point of understanding the origins of oil and hence considering the abiotic theory is not to label it a renewable fuel.

The point is knowledge—pure science. Both the biogenic and the abiotic theory are just that: theories.

Most “scientists” and also you seem to be unable to look outside the utility lens.

        • Woodchuck December 11, 2022 at 3:16 pm #

Somehow, people can’t get over the fact that the industrial age is/was just a tiny blip on the human historical timeline. Our species has been been here for at least a 100,000 years, and possibly well over a million years. We lived here successfully via solar power coming our way via the plant world through photosynthesis. We had no fossil fuel inputs and we were successful, possibly due entirely to wolf/dogs giving us a lot of help in hunting. Once the energy and technology runs out and fails, we’ll be back to our default position.

We will NOT be occupying this planet in the future with cars, dishwashers, central heat and air, clothes dryers, airplanes, electronic devices etc. Forget about abiotic oil. If it’s there, they’d be pumping the easy stuff instead of the very complex and expensive fracking processes and off shore drilling. The future is not going to be like we think it is. Alex Jones has crazy ideas that we are heading to some high tech utopia and going to the stars. We will be doing no such thing.

          • Blackbird December 11, 2022 at 7:45 pm #

Damned right. We got an improbably perfectly inhabitable planet to live on – and we fucked it up.

Yet we dream of terraforming inhospitable planets and colonizing them. Delusional.

We won’t liberate ourselves with our technology. We will kill ourselves with it.

        • gustafson.robert.22 December 12, 2022 at 2:06 am #

There is absolutely an alternative to nuclear energy in the future. No energy.

The nuclear version of this tech civilization will not last long. It will quickly implode in cloud of unstable neutrons, poisoning more earth as it goes.

            Country

…Oh yeah…and bowl games. The service academies at one time were the door-mats of the college leagues, because the teams were made up of students who were selected for a myriad of qualities, athleticism being only one of them, and a minor one at that. The teams comprised of actual students who matriculated on merit.

You could say that the teams mirrored the demographics of the student body. There used to be a purity that did not exist in the rest of the NCAA.

            …go team….

‘IMHO, the only road to success for the anti Deep State folks, fly over and western folks, is withdrawal from the USA and setting up of their government using the Constitution as its framework.

The Mob needs to have it shoved up where the sun doesn’t shine.’ JohnAZ

    Is sickled o’er with the pale cast of thought;
And, enterprises of great pith and moment,
With this regard, their currents turn awry
And lose the name of action.’

Our resolve, if we ever really had any, evolves and dissolves into a restive resignation with maybe some hope of future retribution.

He’s probably reading this blog right now. Another poster stated (months ago…) that Elrond found a new home on some lefty blog where he talks shit about us Clusterfuckers. If so, that would be unfortunate – I never envisioned Elrond as some kind of sniveling weenie…

He should follow the Dog’s lead (even though he’s apparently some kinda fancy French Dog now…) and come back. (Welcome home K-Dog.) Clusterfuck Nation is a big tent, but ya gotta take yer punches to earn a place at the table.

    From Danika Niketic:

“On the fake putsch in Germany:

Based on its success in the USA, the fake putsch playbook is dusted off to criminalize criticism/ dissent in Germany, weaving American Qanon boogeymen into revised German history for a big fat “far right” label and radioactivity by association for critics who dare speak.

In other news, several power substation attacks have been reported across the nation, from Washington, Oregon, to N Carolina, con e framed as perpetrated by “right wing extremists”…”mad at drag queen story hour.” The fbi is said to be monitoring the infrastructure -because said extremists might need to be linked to Russia or China-, and the power companies are in constant communication with DHS and other agencies and have hired private security forces to secure their properties. Fun fasc-color-revolutionary times.

    ********

“It is obvious that the media were informed in advance about the police operation against the alleged coup plotters. This supports the theory that it was a staging. Reichelt put it aptly, so I repeat his tweet here:

“If almost every editorial office in the country knows in advance about a secret operation, it is not a secret operation, but a PR operation”

All of this supports my suspicion that the “attempted coup” is more of a media show – or, as Reichelt put it, “a PR operation” – but not a real coup attempt by a terrorist organization.”

WTF is up in the UK? I was watching video out of London, Cranks from an outfit called ‘Just End Oil’ or some sense nonsense, many of the elderly, sitting down on a motorway blocking the traffic flow. Traffic is backed up for miles. Suddenly the police arrive — in squad cars featuring a PRIDE FLAG THEME! Quite astonishingly, the cops don’t clear the roadway, but stand around with their thumbs up their asses, politely conversing with the people blocking traffic. Then, when exasperated and outraged commuters attempt to clear the roadway on their own, police spring into action, arresting the commuters! One man was shouting that he was transporting his wife to the hospital, he had to get thru — the cops came down on him hard.

What kind of country is this? The same country that fought the German Imperial Army to a standstill at the Somme, and won the Battle of Britain in 1941?

“What kind of country is this? The same country that fought the German Imperial Army to a standstill at the Somme, and won the Battle of Britain in 1941?”

WWI – the Brits are more at fault for causing this catastrophe than the Germans – who appear to have tried harder than any other nation to prevent WWI.

Battle of Britain – 1940. Even though – once again – the Brits are one of the bad guys in WWII, going to war to “protect” Poland, then handing Poland, and the rest of eastern Europe to the commies – at least the RAF in the Battle of Britain were (in my opinion anyway) the good guys – although they turned back into the bad guys under (the war criminal) “Bomber” Harris and his nightly terror firebombing of German cities.

“What kind of country is this?” One that our ancestors killed and died to escape.

After a crazy week, during which I’ve been in the unnatural position of feeling a need to keep quiet, I can get back to writing as usual on this site.

More importantly, I can now explain some things to TK subscribers, not only about the events of the last week, but about where the Twitter project stands and where it may be going. But first, a few words about what’s happened to date:…”

Vijaya Gadde, former Twitter exec is now with the CISA

Her termination from Twitter did not leave her unemployed and homeless. A year earlier, she had already been tapped as an advisor to CISA, which is the government’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency headed by Jen Easterly, who was chosen to head the new agency (created in 2018) out of her tenure at the National Security Agency. As Freddy Gray puts it in the UK Spectator, “That seems fishy, to put it mildly.”

Is our main Tool is getting competition?

“I’ve been waiting for today, knowing it was pre-planned and coming. Today in Riyadh at the China-Arab Summit President Xi of China formally invited the Arab nations to trade oil and gas in yuan on the Shanghai Exchange. Now the way diplomacy works (because it seems to have been forgotten in the West) is that Xi would not have made the invitation unless all the Arab states gathered in Riyadh – and particularly Saudi Arabia as host – had already agreed as a matter of joint policy to take action accordingly. Oil and gas will price in Shanghai and in yuan, breaking the dollar monopoly the US has imposed and enforced since 1974. Since the dollar-for-oil monopoly was the lynchpin of Bretton Woods II stability, it follows Bretton Woods II ended today.”

Jimmy Dore interviews Whitney Webb. Great stuff.

The Mafia, CIA & Jeffrey Epstein Worked TOGETHER To Traffic Minors

“There is much more to the Jeffrey Epstein case than an island for sex trafficking, flight logs and a suspicious “suicide.” As journalist Whitney Webb unravels in her two-volume “One Nation Under Blackmail” series, ties between the CIA, organized crime, international arms dealers and sex traffickers date back to before World War II and the Epstein connection merely represents the latest chapter in an unbelievably sordid, many-tentacled tale of money, sex, violence, power and blackmail.

Jimmy and Whitney discuss the historical connection between the military, the CIA and organized crime as well as Epstein’s ties to Bill Clinton, Bill Gates and Victoria’s Secret founder Les Wexner, among many other miscreants and malefactors.”

I consider Whitney Webb to be an excellent source of information on the inner workings of the Deep State. And yet, I don’t feel entirely comfortable with her, as if she might be holding back something.

Maybe it’s just paranoia – although I like to think of it as “vigilance” – but I just don’t “trust” anyone, anymore, on anything. In fact I have come to consider “trust” as a mistake, an error, like “belief”.

This is basically the same terrain as that covered in the Matthew Ehret interview .

Glad she is getting exposure to different audiences.

I feel that there are a few good sources and previous work that she has missed.
See my comment up-thread on the Ehret interview (Dec. 9). I am very interested to see her books, and the documentation. I am curious about Webb’s background—that is, is she basically trained as a historian? a journalist? But there is no info extant that I know of on this.

          • MaryQueen December 11, 2022 at 11:59 pm #

Or is Ehret’s terrain the same as Whitney’s? I’ve watched her for 5+ years now.

In any case, she’s amassed a bigger audience, and she’s done the work. I also like Ehret, so not to detract from him.

Why even compare them? Isn’t more people reporting on the same findings a good thing? It’s not a contest.

The CIA is an org that failed to protect the American people and the rest of the World from 911. The MAFIA is no longer what it used to be and has been eclipsed by Swamp dope fiends.

And lastly. Jerry Epstein was an expendable who may or may not have dallied a great deal with Mossad.

My point is the Past, let alone pre-war, is not a context I would associate with model today’s characters, post-2001, and their “shenanigans.”

Because of course the established powers are up to good, no? As stated before, suspicion of the rich is healthy and natural. But also remember that society is already a feudal order. Thus there is no way to alter the temples of power without an aristocrat or a cabal of aristocrats. Deplorable is a term of derision but perhaps in the boomerang Cinderella is who you were really thinking of. And God will help those who help themselves. The Puritans wish to keep their hands clean and to preach from the pulpit. But that won’t be enough to keep the hyenas and the jackals at bay.
