Have you stopped to ask yourself: what exactly are the USA’s interests in Ukraine? The answer: just about none whatsoever if you discount all the effort and capital expended there the past decade to make it a problem for our designated hobgoblin, Russia. During these eight years, since the Maidan “revolution,” Ukraine was an ATM for “Joe Biden’s” family, an inconvenient embarrassment for the US State Department, which has not been able to cover it up.

In fact, their first attempt to do so — the seditious maneuvers leading to Trump impeachment no. 1 — only shined a light onto the dishonest activities of US Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch and her State Department colleagues, in collusion with George Soros’s Atlantic Council, to conceal their involvement in Ukraine’s corrupt political affairs. This gang included agent provocateurs rotating in-and-out of government such as Jake Sullivan and Antony Blinken, now the two top foreign policy officers in “Joe Biden’s” government (National Security Advisor and Secretary of State).

Donald Trump enabled more mischief by sending what he proudly called “lethal aid” in the form of Stinger missiles and other arms to Ukraine in a foolish attempt to out-hawk his predecessor, Mr. Obama, whose main weapon against Ukraine was Vice-president Biden and his grifting family. Poor Mr. Trump apparently had to do something to prove that he was not “Putin’s puppet,” and that something was to give Ukraine tacit permission to bombard the breakaway Donbas region on Russia’s border. Was that supposed to not have consequences?

Throughout all this, NATO has acted as a conduit for arming and training a 400,000-troop Ukrainian army, a violation of several formal agreements between Russia and the West. NATO, otherwise, does not have the will, or even the means, to engage militarily with Russia. And America, at the head of NATO, has so far refrained from starting World War Three by way of sending US troops or war-planes into Ukraine. So, Russia has gone about the plodding business of neutralizing Ukraine’s trouble-seeking military and rearranging the map so that Ukraine won’t be able to act as a proxy antagonist in America’s ill-conceived campaign to destroy Mr. Putin and his country.

The operation will probably end this month. My guess is that Mr. Zelensky will be allowed to remain president of what remains on the map, minus Donbas and the region along the Black Sea coast from Mariupol to Odessa. Mr. Zelensky will not have a functioning military to make trouble with. Other patches of Western Ukraine may be distributed among Poland, Moldova, Romania, and Hungary, leaving a large rump of Ukraine between Lvov and the Dnieper River devoted mostly to the growing of wheat. A stable, agricultural Ukraine will be a benefit to a hungry world, while it will no longer be in a position to launch hostilities or be of much use as a money-laundering facility. In short, with some luck, Ukraine will cease to be a threat to world peace.

Ukraine may have been “Joe Biden’s” last opportunity to screw things up on the world scene. As the military conflict resolves, Ukraine can’t be used by the White House as a shield to divert America’s attention from the political cancer of Biden family corruption, and the systemic illness of the nation’s institutions. Merrick Garland may not be able to contain the open case against Hunter Biden to mere rinky-dink tax violations — and if he tries to limit the US Attorneys in charge of the case, he will be setting himself up for an obstruction of justice rap some months from now. The laptop is out now, too many people have copies of the hard drive, and some are working diligently to make the mess of it more easily searchable. So, expect much more to come.

It won’t be easy for the Democratic Party to get rid of “Joe Biden.” Nobody can feature Kamala Harris in the oval office, and were she to somehow gracefully remove herself from the scene, next-in-line would be Nancy Pelosi who, in addition to being long-in-the-tooth, seems to be literally drunk half the time in her public appearances. And behind her: Patrick Leahy, Senate President Pro Tem, who is nearly as senile and incoherent as “Joe Biden.”

Lots of other spooky things are churning meanwhile in the zeitgeist. Overnight, with his blundering sanctions, “Joe Biden” killed the little credibility left in the shreds of Bretton Woods and gave a green light for Russia to start a world-wide move to gold-backed currencies. That could easily turn the current US dollar inflation from an annualized 8 percent to a runaway hyperinflation, where prices double in weeks or days. It’s becoming ever clearer that special counsel John Durham means business and many a swamp creature must be quivering in its burrow awaiting indictment. The controversy over the 2020 election will prove to be not as over as many have hoped and imagined. And we await developments on the after-effects of all those vaxxes and boosters carried out all over Western Civ. These dangerous currents amount to a huge riptide in global events that will carry many people and whole societies out to sea.

Good article, but I do not think any swamp critters are scared. Even if indicted, they got the whole rotten Democratic apparatchik structure to support. Plus, the rottener they are, the more likely they get hired by MSNBC and CNN!

    • shotho April 11, 2022 at 10:44 am #

Yes, some of these predictions might happen, but neo-liberalism is too well entrenched now for a wholesale change. Financial events are more likely to force changes than political ones, at least for the foreseeable future.

    • pyrrhus April 11, 2022 at 11:03 am #

It will be interesting to see if anything changes when the “high value” westerners trapped in Mariupol have to surrender…Several rescue attempts, including one with a merchant freighter, have failed…

      • Disaffected April 11, 2022 at 11:32 am #

Yes indeed! Gonna need to be some splainin’ done then.

      • Bilejones April 11, 2022 at 1:54 pm #

So, Were I Putin, I’d have a military attache tell the US Military attache that they’ve captured someone who claims to be Joe Biden in Mariupol and while you have your doubts what should we do with him?
Then down through the military chain of command 5 or 6 times in the next 2/3 days.

When Russia finally gets the hapless Marine Corps General who was in Ukraine training the Nazi’s on the proper uses of women’s underwear, He;s obviously just one more in a line of delusionists driven mad by actual war rather than Chairborne and he can be whisked away to the famed Soviet psychologists for treatment, aka interrogation, and who can blame them?

Indeed, they’ve managed to systematically remove any laws requiring accountability before they ran their schemes.

I recall commenting on this blog before that technology has given the media, and those who control it, either directly of by buying the services, the ability to have eliminated the truth and replaced it with spin. Perhaps not totally correct because at least for now there are still snippets of truth that are still available to we the people, but not for long, I fear.

For me at least it was totally appalling when television screens started popping up in convenience stores, in waiting rooms, and tiny little ones in gas pumps, and of course in everyone’s hand and even strapped to their wrists. Total control and surveillance may not be here yet, but total and constant influence certainly is.

I recall a silly comment about sitting around watching the grass grow, which has turned out to be a not really bad alternative to being subjected to such abuse. Of course, the 5G will get you even doing just that. Yeah, I’d say we’re pretty much fucked.

    • Redneck Liberal April 11, 2022 at 10:16 pm #

Like Mick Mulvaney, you mean? The very person who advised Trump to try to extort Zelenskyy back in 2020? Right…” swamp creatures” aren’t exclusively Democrats.

The Lord of the Swamp embraces ALL those who swear allegiance to The Agenda, regardless of political affiliation, absolutely! Fact is, that 99% of the Political Ruling Elite Class have ALL sworn allegiance to the Lord of the Swamp with only a few powerless exceptions. We are toast!

And yet look the truth is Joe Biden many Democrats and a few Republicans were using Ukraine is a money machine!
Billions go in and millions get squeezed out.
Had this actually happened Joe Biden and Hunter as well as a few Democrats and their kids would be sitting in a federal jail somewhere and the country would not be running aground near as badly.

Good analysis JHK, it brought to mind this quote from Shakespeare

    Julius Caesar Act 4, scene 3, 218–224

There is a tide in the affairs of men

    Brutus:
There is a tide in the affairs of men.
    Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
    Or lose our ventures.

    • sanspeur April 11, 2022 at 10:08 am #

Life comes in like the tide
On a roar from the sea bed,
And is already dying before the ebb.
Existence is the time it takes the shingle to be wet.
      And yet,
      Are they deluded,
      Do they lie,
      Those blind with courage
      Who shout above the spray,
      Never say die

The US can still cause quite a bit of harm as demonstrated in the coup this weekend in Pakistan. How destabilizing a nuclear power makes any of this any better is above my paygrade but Pakistan has now been removed from the playing field as it tends to its upcoming Civil War.

Here at home, we have two groups of people now: group A are the preppers, truthers and libertarians that are now bracing for impact. They’ve got their seatbelts secured and their helmets are on snug. Group B are the Dreamwalkers. They are animated living beings that are trapped in a dream world. They are 100% clueless as to any of the consequences coming our way.

Hyperinflation followed by deflation followed by famine could all be here before the midterm election.

    Brace yoursef.

    • Islander April 11, 2022 at 10:11 am #

There is another group, call it Group C, who are as cognizant as Group A of the oncoming tsunami
but are not in a position to strap on any helmets or made adequate provision.

They will be dependent on the kindness of strangers, and a lot of those strangers are barking mad.

      • NickelthroweR April 11, 2022 at 10:20 am #

I disagree with your assessment of group C. There are some Doom Porn YouTubers out there that preach all kinds of chaos and do so from the comfort of their home in a Blue city in a Blue state. Nearly all of these guys block my comments as I continue to point out to their viewers that if they believed anything they were saying then they wouldn’t be preaching to the rest of us from NYC, LA, San Francisco or Chicago.

People demonstrate what they actually believe by their actions. Actions speak louder than words.

          “firmly ensconced”

It depends on how much pain you are willing to accept in order to have a seat at the table of possible survivors.

I enjoyed living at the beach in SoCal in an artist community where I didn’t have to do anything other than occasionally open up my gallery to the public.

It was great living in a tourist hotspot. It was wonderful having 6 independent breweries within a 15 minute walk. I very much enjoyed having Uber & Lyft and not having to own a car. I loved that I had dozens of fancy restaurants to choose from.

I also loved that my neighbors were the people you see on TV every day. I enjoyed dating actresses, models, dancers, news anchors, and all those tourists having their “all girl” getaway. It was paradise.

I gave every bit of that up to live in a rural area in the Rust Belt. No more Uber & Lyft. No more fancy restaurants. No models to date. Instead, I spend time with my chainsaw and wood chipper. Instead, I use my rototiller, hoe, and rake. Instead, I prep for myself and my neighbors (though they don’t know it).

Berlin in the 1920’s was the most decadent place on Earth much like California is today. Anyone that got themselves out of Berlin by 1933 never regretted having done so.

          Get out at any cost.

          • MaryQueen April 11, 2022 at 12:09 pm #

You have missed the point of Group C big-time and can only talk about yourself and how clever you are.

Sorry to say, you sound like a self-satisfied dork.

Maybe you are inclined to help the elderly, the infirm, those who are on their own and cannot even move a piece of furniture by themselves, let alone execute major moves on little money.

            But I doubt it.

You enjoy too much honking about your life style choices. Typical American, actually.

So tell me, what is the value of a day in paradise? The kind where you get up in mid morning to throw sticks for the dog on the beach, come home for a glass of the best vintage Northern Cal has to offer, then soak in the Jacuzzi in preparation for an evening with the latest supermodel on your schedule?

100 to one? 1000 to one? vs. a day spent behind the mule and single bottom plow turning the manure into the soil in anticipation of a corn crop next fall? As long as the rains come.

Degenerate middle aged hippy or failed back-to-the lander? Plenty of both in the foothills of my home state!

Oh, yeah. Get out at any cost. We left the city 8 years ago ……now in the backwoods hills. Some weeks I don’t even see the mailman, much less anyone else. But the solitude is great & knowing I’ve done all I know to do is even better. You really don’t stand a chance in a city.

        • Anthea April 12, 2022 at 12:13 am #

          @ oilie:

Since I don’t know how you got “firmly ensconced” in group C, it’s difficult to advise you. People have to have money to live, and maybe you have a great job that you’d have to give up to get out of the city. If so, explore your work-from-home options, and/or whether you could move to the country while remaining within commuting distance of your job.

Usually, where there’s a will there’s a way, but escaping from the city requires a real commitment–even a real passion. Country life pretty much has to be your dream: the big garden, the critters (chickens, goats, pigs, a good dog), the wildlife, the woodstove with the need to cut a lot of firewood, the tramping in the woods, etc.

You may still have time to make such a dream come true, if that’s what you really want.

_You have missed the point of Group C big-time and can only talk about yourself and how clever you are._

Thanks for that! There are some of us who know exactly what’s happening, and what’s coming, but are stuck because of lack of money, disability, etc. I don’t care what anyone says, you need $$$ to be a prepper, and a lot of us can barely pay our rent. A private plane to get out of SoCal? Really?

I suggest you all read FerFal’s book, “Surviving the Economic Collapse”, written by a guy who actually experienced collapse in Argentina, a guy who couldn’t get out of the city. Read about how people who lived in the country got tortured and killed by gangs from the city, looking for their hidden stashes of gold. Read about how you can’t stay awake 24/7 to defend your homestead from the gangs that will be looking for you. Lots of real, practical info in that book.

          I’m feeling magnanimous, so here’s a link:

They were very intimidating to my niece and she quit that job.

          • Anthea April 12, 2022 at 12:41 am #

            @ Cactus Girl:

I moved to the country twenty-one years ago, bought a cheap fixer-upper house, and raised three kids as a single mom with a poverty-level income for a family of four.

            It can be done.

When I recently sold my house, it was still a fixer-upper–though I had made many improvements–so it sold for pretty darned cheap. I think it will be as much a blessing for the family that bought it as it was for me. They too were looking to escape the city, and my former house’s location is nearly ideal for that, while remaining within commuting distance of the city.

The buyers are a Mexican family, and the mom is the only adult who speaks English at least moderately well. Hubby is very able when it comes to the building trades. They have four kids. The Hispanic population in the area is miniscule. I’d say this family has a lot of grit.

The sale was a FSBO, so the mom had to work her way through all the details of the contract in a foreign language and run it by her husband and Grandpa (who paid cash for the house) after translating everything into Spanish.

I talked with several potential buyers who were whites. It seemed like, though they were in some cases desperate to get out of the city, they were daunted by the prospect of having to any work or deal with any inconvenience or hardship.

To put it another way, they were scared. Good thing they backed off. Country people don’t respect that.

Hell, when I moved into the house 21 years ago, I had to haul water. There was no city water at that time–one reason why the house was cheap.

I have to admire this Mexican family. What they’re doing takes guts, and I’ll bet they don’t have a lot of money, either.

If a person has a crappy job in the city, they might just as well have a crappy job in the country. You may not have the money to be a serious prepper, but at least you’ll be outside the city and probably living in a real community.

I reckon they might have miscalculated there, as they often do. The Maoris are a formidable mob, highly recommended movie “Once Were Warriors”
They were never defeated by the Europeans that arrived, but they were fooled into signing treaties, and they seemed to fall right into the Christchurch trap.
I admit they seem to have gone off the boil over the last couple of years, but haven’t we all?
And disclaimer, am speaking from the other side of the world and only qualification is to have known a fair few kiwis back in Aus.
My sister was living with one for years, bikie culture, Kiwis can be pretty full on, like all them pacific island boys, and girls.

The American (AKA NATO) goal of starting* the war in Ukraine (after eight years of bombing and 14,000 civilian casualties in adjoining Nuvorussia) is to create a quagmire for Russia and use up as many
cost+++ American weapons as possible while providing a shield for total economic warfare against Russia. (Facts have little chance against our 100% state propaganda, but at least they should be repeated)

The O-Biden plan is to shoot yourself in the foot as many times as possible before moving on to more vital organs. For Europe that process is well under way. Pump prices of $10.00 per gallon for diesel in Germany is a minor little indicator.

The USA /NATO has the capability of keeping the Ukraine slaughter going for months unless Russia gives up on its goal of neutering the Ukrainian state and has to conquer the remnants and de-Nazify the hold-outs.

Problem is, if you want to cleanse the Ukraine of its hard core Nazi elements you have to come to the USA and exterminate the Biden Crime Family and close it’s Ukrainian ATM.

It is a situation reminiscent of the way Germany was manouveured into invading Poland in 1939.

Britain and France were encouraging Polish anti-German belicosity – Poland was eyeing a land grab in German Silesia – while Poland was obstructionist and destructive in Danzig and carrying out anti-ethnic-German ethnic cleansing operations in the areas that had been taken from Germany by Versailles (no national self determination for Germans!)

This proxy war in Ukraine has exposed the US’s weaknesses for the world to see and exploit. And I don’t think many people believe that democracy exists in the US anymore.

Russia would never have defied NATO and the US if it wasn’t prepared to win. My guess is the alliances with China, India and the global south were in place before the invasion. I think that b/c Putin is not a fool or a madman and knows the stakes are high and he needs powerful allies to launch a direct challenge to the shadow government we have in place — Obama, the neocons, and the FIRE sector (what Michael Hudson calls them — finance, insurance, and real estate).

      • Rowdypiglet April 11, 2022 at 11:42 am #

Seeing Trump beset by jackals in everything he tried to do helped me to realize that no single person can save us. The difference between the two groups noted above is that the genuinely awake and aware set about their tasks as more or less lone individuals, while the woke act with a hive mind (abetted by their clueless followers, many of whom are along for the ride and don’t even know what it is they’re supporting).

You can see this hive mind at work in the way they’ve infiltrated absolutely everything – business, schools, churches, corporations – and have done so down to the local level and up to the highest. Once they reach a certain level in any entity, they begin to empty it of its original function and fill it with . . . wokeness.

What do we have, and what have we done, that is in any way comparable? Their money and their minions are at work day and night, everywhere you can look, to bring about the world they want. Meanwhile, we’re raising families, going to work on time, trying to start little businesses. These are without a doubt the stuff of which a real life is made, but they exist in a different world from the one in which the woke operate.

The only hope we (think) we have is that someone powerful will come to save us. But we’ve already seen that anyone powerful and determined, who is not in the club, will find it nearly impossible to accomplish anything – and what is accomplished is easily and quickly undone, as Biden negated Trump’s executive orders. We have to first learn to understand our enemy, and then act on that understanding even if it’s painful and disruptive. I hope we have the will for it, but it can only happen by enlisting people in the same sort of long term effort on every front that the woke have made.

        • C.O.Jones April 11, 2022 at 11:47 am #

Trump did exactly what his owners – the Rothschilds – told him to do and now he is playing the victim, promising things will be different next time.

Read the latest book by Susan Bradford and don’t get fooled again.

          • Rowdypiglet April 11, 2022 at 12:10 pm #

I wasn’t fooled last time, but I do believe he tried in spite of everything. It doesn’t really matter, since no one person is going to fix this, whether they’re sincere in wanting to or not. I think you have to realize that many people who voted for Trump simply voted for the lesser of the evils – and he was decidedly that. I’m perfectly willing to give him credit insofar as he deserves it, and he certainly does deserve a measure of credit. But this idea that any one person can save us, or that there are white hats working unseen in the background, is a dangerous fantasy.

          • NoLongerHuman April 11, 2022 at 7:00 pm #

Was Trump in on Jan 6th? Did he know that the Capital Police would open the gates? That a 3rd of the rioters were Feds.

That Jan. 6th was a way to insure the vote couldn’t be questioned and procedural sealing of the election could be completed.

I think he did know. That’s why he spent 6 weeks threatening states Attorney Generals to recount the ballots, to create the votes, because he wanted it known that he fought it tooth and nail.

            Think about it.

        • Anthea April 12, 2022 at 12:59 am #

          @ Rowdypiglet:

Yes, and while we are raising families, going to work on time, and starting little businesses, the “woke” very often have more money, as a huge percentage of them are government employees/retirees.

Here in the country, government jobs are generally sinecures reserved for the local elites. My observation is that there is no surer predictor of leftism/statism than government employment. They’re on the flippin’ payroll.

I’m not convinced Ukraine has much of a military left.

The primary combatants appear to be Azov Brigade, ie: neo-nazis who are likely fanatical, as in no surrender, and seem to be marked for extermination.

There is no air force. There is no naval force. Mechanized vehicles, if they exist, must be low on both fuel and spare parts with no resupply routes.

There are infantry pockets being surrounded by the Russian military. These contain either Ukraine military who opted not to accept the Russian offer of surrender and safe passage out of the war zone, or said neo-nazis who are committed to fighting it out to the end.

Ideas of a long guerrilla warfare conflict would need the support of the average Ukrainian living West of the Dneiper River. They’ve probably had enough. East of the River are the people who have been bombarded for the past eight years. Not a good environment for such a conflict.

Why do Democrats hate the country? What has the country done to them?

It is ironic that the people trying to destroy the country are the ones that have benefitted the most from milking it. Celebrities that know nothing, politicians that know nothing about things they are making decisions about, kneeling athletes, CEOs of corporations that leave the US.

Bretton Woods gave an untouched US domination of the world. The only contender was The USSR for fifty years. What will the role be in the future for the US, probably power number two or three, and soon.

Investing in the future, invest in Asia, most of the businesses in the US are.

A big question, or possibility? Would the three countries in NAFTA past be willing to unify to counter the swelling power of Sinoruss? As power shifts north, agriculturally due to warming, how will power change? Siberia and Canada!!

    • zekesdad April 11, 2022 at 10:30 am #

Mexico is not our friend and has been using the US as a dumping ground for excess population and a highly lucrative drug trade for quite a while. In fairness to them, we helped create the poverty that drove millions north in search of survival.

Canada wants to our our best friend and demonstrates this with freezing cash donations to the truckers, showing it can be as undemocratic and hypocritical as we can in our treatment of the working class.

        • JohnAZ April 11, 2022 at 11:06 am #

The NWO owns Trudeau, like Biden.

What I am supposing though is in the future, when the Sinoruss alliance starts gut punching the US.

Think about two things going on right now, the connection of the cartels with China, Mexico, and the massing of Asians in British Columbia.

          Are we already becoming surrounded?

        • malthuss April 11, 2022 at 11:12 am #

using the US as a dumping ground for excess population

and a highly lucrative drug trade.

          those are 2 reasons,

Other reasons are Expats send a lot of money there, along with the drug money and that keeps their economy going.

Stolen SUVs going to Mexico is another ‘industry.’

          • megabeth April 11, 2022 at 11:22 am #

When I was living in Mexico in 1993, a Bronco SUV cost about $45,000 for a Mexican to buy new, thanks to tax. I was attending a university where all the rich, fairly white Distrito Federal kids went to school, complete with expensive rides. The rest of us low-class peones got around in rides made by Dina that seated about 40.

        • zekesdad April 11, 2022 at 11:41 am #

I agree with most of that, SW. I’m not sure how we helped create the poverty in Mexico though. I’d say our appetite for narcotics has certainly fueled what seems to be increasing corruption there. If anything all that drug money and the jobs we’ve sent down there would seem to be helping rather than hurting them financially.

          • SW April 11, 2022 at 12:01 pm #

Regan subsidized the corn industry in the US and the consequence for Mexico was the destruction of the small farmers. If they sold for (just a guess) $10/bushel and we undercut them by $8/bushel with government subsidies, they couldn’t survive. That’s when millions started flowing in and filled jobs in the meat packing industry and construction. The workers on the building sites transformed into Mexican workers practically overnight and there was a big homebuilding boom.

A janitor (Mexican, US citizen born in Austin) told me he voted for Trump b/c he liked his immigration plan to stop illegals from entering the country. I’m quoting him loosely — “I’m sorry the drug cartels run the country but they have to stay in Mexico. They’re taking my job.” The divide between the rich and the poor is even more stark than in the US. But third world status isn’t too far off for us.

Not sure how many of the cyclists have been vaxxed. I’m assuming they’ve been heavily coerced just like everyone else. This is the most intensive cardio event on earth. Doesn’t seem like it would be compatible with double vaxxed and boosted participants.

If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.

Cultures, institutions and events are a result of those who have the means to make them reality.

Since power acts in its own self interest, obviously the world is not crafted for the benefit of those who lack influence.

Rather, normal everyday regular people are reduced to hopeful expectations aka wishes. Faith used to be the purview of religion, but apparently focus has shifted to secular society.

Jim’s beliefs reflect both his age and intense indoctrination. I will take the exact opposition position:

Russia will be defeated, no crimes will be prosecuted, and the West will move apace to dramatically reduce both population levels and per capita energy use.

This will be achieved through the creation of both social/economic controls, the development of complete virtual realities, and the erasure of historical accounts of how people once lived.

Those over 30 are not targets; we are the remnant. It is the children who were raised with mandates who are being shaped to reflect the new society.

We had a record-breaking snowfall here this morning in Portland. We woke to 2″ covering all the surfaces including the very loaded down blossoming trees.

I bring it up because I believe as the “war” winds down and begins to lose people’s attention (as it has) they will crank up the “climate change” rhetoric.

As the narrative is centered on the “change” being to hotter what happens if it begins getting noticeably colder? The aren’t organizing the controls around that though *they* get the famine and controlling the energy thing for a bit.

Eventually though the cultural-political-financial thing spins out of their control because there won’t be enough energy to maintain it.

    • Rowdypiglet April 11, 2022 at 12:04 pm #

I don’t think there’s any doubt that they have to keep a state of emergency ongoing as far as conditions in the material world and in the mental space, where people must be kept in a state of terror. From their point of view, the more “emergencies” they can keep going at once, the more helpless people become in the face of assaults from so many fronts. Every time they divert our attention from one deliberately created emergency to another, they’re enabled to work behind the scenes to make permanent all of the restrictions they claimed were just temporary. And, of course, they plan the next “emergency” for when our attention returns to that from which it was diverted.

When the Ukraine “emergency” is over (and I do believe, from reading about conditions on the ground from people who seem reliable, that Russia has the upper hand) we’ll still have Covid and a few other things they’ve cooked up to justify their harvesting of all of us. Unlike our opponents, we don’t have sleeper cells everywhere, and indoctrinated drones infesting every institution, to do our bidding. Instead of beginning to address this problem and realizing what we’re up against, we’re looking for powerful saviors to come and fix it all. Some of these “saviors” may be well meaning, and may even lend a hand, but it’s going to take a whole lot more than that.

      • TaxDonkey April 11, 2022 at 12:22 pm #

    Canto XLV
    BY EZRA POUND
    With Usura

With usura hath no man a house of good stone
each block cut smooth and well fitting
that design might cover their face,
    with usura
hath no man a painted paradise on his church wall
    harpes et luz
    or where virgin receiveth message
    and halo projects from incision,
    with usura
seeth no man Gonzaga his heirs and his concubines
no picture is made to endure nor to live with
but it is made to sell and sell quickly
    with usura, sin against nature,
is thy bread ever more of stale rags
is thy bread dry as paper,
with no mountain wheat, no strong flour
with usura the line grows thick
with usura is no clear demarcation
and no man can find site for his dwelling.
Stonecutter is kept from his stone
weaver is kept from his loom
    WITH USURA
    wool comes not to market
sheep bringeth no gain with usura
    Usura is a murrain, usura
blunteth the needle in the maid’s hand
and stoppeth the spinner’s cunning. Pietro Lombardo
    came not by usura
    Duccio came not by usura
nor Pier della Francesca; Zuan Bellin’ not by usura
    nor was ‘La Calunnia’ painted.
Came not by usura Angelico; came not Ambrogio Praedis,
Came no church of cut stone signed: Adamo me fecit.
    Not by usura St. Trophime
    Not by usura Saint Hilaire,
    Usura rusteth the chisel
It rusteth the craft and the craftsman
It gnaweth the thread in the loom
    None learneth to weave gold in her pattern;
Azure hath a canker by usura; cramoisi is unbroidered
    Emerald findeth no Memling
Usura slayeth the child in the womb
It stayeth the young man’s courting
It hath brought palsey to bed, lyeth
between the young bride and her bridegroom
    CONTRA NATURAM
They have brought whores for Eleusis
    Corpses are set to banquet
    at behest of usura.

N.B. Usury: A charge for the use of purchasing power, levied without regard to production; often without regard to the possibilities of production. (Hence the failure of the Medici bank.)

Jarek: Capitalism means endless growth. Such a thing is not possible on a finite planet. Thus the defense of usury on the grounds that it is needed for growth is unsound.

If growth is needed or natural, then let it be healthy growth, that stops in due course. Not the unnatural growth of the cancer cell.

And of course, the disaster of Usury is felt long before the final collapse, as it gives all power to the Banking class who bring in their whores to all professions and activities, no matter how sacred.

They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another’s throats.

Man hands on misery to man.

They tuck you up, your Mum and Dad.
They read you Peter Rabbit, too.
They give you all the treats they had
And add some extra, just for you.

They were tucked up when they were small,
        (Pink perfume, blue tobacco-smoke),
By those whose kiss healed any fall,
        Whose laughter doubled any joke.

Man hands on happiness to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
So love your parents all you can
And have some cheerful kids yourself.

If it wrong to collect usury, is it wrong to pay it? – messi

        ============

No messi, interest is NOT usury. Yours is a common misunderstanding, It is not considered wrong to loan money and collect interest. Here is the definition of usury:

the illegal action or practice of lending money at unreasonably high rates of interest.

It’s like this: It’s Friday night and you desperately need a hundred bucks. Bent-nose Tony in Newark loans you the money and warns you that he wants 200 bucks back by 6pm on Monday or he’ll fuck you up.

        That’s usury.

        • messianicdruid April 12, 2022 at 4:57 pm #

Usury is paying for money by incurring debt. The borrower is servant of the lender.

Interest is an investment. The investor assumes risk in the endeavor hoping to profit. No servitude involved.

Over centuries worshippers of mammon have blurred these distinctions.

I think it’s a sliding scale, Q. Who defines exactly what “reasonable” is? But it’s hard not to think that what’s going on now is not usury either way, since there’s not enough money in circulation (by a LARGE margin) to ever pay it back. It’s only a matter of who gets stuck holding the bag when it all collapses.

Sadly, I can’t see either side backing down.

    • mitchellc April 11, 2022 at 1:37 pm #

The “people” running the current Russian op are cut from the same cloth as those who created Rome, took the Americas for their own, methodically imported millions of African slaves, and have run every war since that time.

The concept of will to power is so fundamentally easy to understand that it takes a belligerent, oppositionally defiant character to refute the plain reality in which they exist.

“Literally drunk” Pelosi. Hmm. That may be, but, to my eye, she has the orolingual version of tardive dyskinesia, which is why that tongue keeps roaming, popping out, and smearing lipstick on her teeth–a terribly cheap look for such a rich woman, if you ask me.

A lot of antipsychotic medication causes tardive dyskinesia, but so do medications with non-psych applications, like Reglan and meclizine. How did Nancy acquire hers? She was not like this the first time around as Speaker of the House of Representin’.

    • Prospero April 11, 2022 at 12:58 pm #

I had to do a Web search on TARDIVE DYSKINESIA: “A condition affecting the nervous system, often caused by long-term use of some psychiatric drugs. Tardive dyskinesia is caused by long-term use of neuroleptic drugs, which are used to treat psychiatric conditions.

You may be on to something here. Pelosi definitely exhibits the symptoms you described. In addition, triple-vaxxed, Covid-positive Nancy could be experiencing an adverse reaction associated with experimental mRNA drug injections. I always thought that celebrity politicians were never injected with real clot shots, but maybe there are exceptions.

Last October, Newsom participated in a televised Covid booster shot publicity event. Starting the next day, Newsom disappeared for a month and his media personnel claimed that spending Halloween with his family was far more important than doing his job:

California Gov. Gavin Newsom previously announced he would be leading a delegation to the U.N. November climate change summit in Scotland. Four days later, his office abruptly announced he had changed his mind.

Could Newsom have accidentally received a real Fauci ouchie?

Good article as always. But I wonder if you overestimate the ability of the Durham investigation to irradiate the cancer in the Washington body politic. It’s been a long time since anyone in DC has been held accountable for anything, despite years of wars, bombings, coups, graft, sedition, perjury, and myriad other misdeeds. My guess is that — as was the case when Adm..Poindexter was fingered for the Iran-Contra affair while Oliver North went on to become a TV personality — the deep state will toss a sacrificial lamb from the bus and then hit the gas while the rest of the country ogles the roadkill.

It’s worked before — a tried and true strategy. But who knows? Given the level of audacity on display these days, TPTB might might conclude that it’s easier to just disappear Durham and be done with it.

“Nancy Pelosi who, in addition to being long-in-the-tooth, seems to be literally drunk half the time in her public appearances.” A few days ago, Ms Pelosi tested positive for that darn Covid bug that’s been going around Wasington DC’s inner circles. On April 7, she gave that old Joe Biden guy a big hug as they associated mask-free with their governmental accomplices.

Fortunately, most of our rulers claim be fully inoculated with experimental mRNA gene-modification drugs. Ms Pelosi will be going into hybernation until she starts testing negative again.

“The Speaker is fully vaccinated and boosted, and is thankful for the robust protection the vaccine has provided,” (Drew) Hammill said. Pelosi, he said, will “quarantine consistent with CDC guidance, and encourages everyone to get vaccinated, boosted and test regularly.” –APNEWS.

In wartime, truth is so precious that she should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies.

    Churchill

In his post-War writings, he admitted the real reason for WW2 was Germany’s unwillingness to join the Global Financial Order. Germany wanted to remain German!

    • Helix April 11, 2022 at 1:23 pm #

Part of Germany had been given to Poland and the arrogant Poles were persecuting the Germans there, foolishly confident of their treaty with Britain to save them from Germany’s wrath.

Sound familiar? It’s almost like what just happened in Ukraine, with Russia as the new Nazi Germany.

      • happiface April 11, 2022 at 1:51 pm #

if you knew history you would know the Poles were attacking Germans in Poland–they were killing them left and right, stealing their property–Hitler told Poland to stop it–they did nothing, some say even encouraged more of it,Hitler attacked–same thing that is,was going on in Ukraine with the Ukraine nazis which Zenlesky is one–refer to Martin Armstrong blog to get the details on zenlesky–Russia tried for the last 8 years to get peace in ukraine–the nazis rejected it–Poland asked for a beating, got it,same in Ukraine

        • Socrates-Detroit April 11, 2022 at 10:50 pm #

Good analogy from you both. Patrick Buchanan’s “The Unnecessary War” is extensively footnoted. Poland was ruled by a dictator (pretty popular in Europe in that era), and he persisted in flouting the Germans. Not a prudent move.

The BIGGEST refugee flow in Europe after WW2 ended were the Germans leaving Prussia (Silesia?) and East Prussia (Konigsberg). Many settled in West Germany and helped propel the “German economic miracle”. In 1945, not much sympathy for displaced Germans. Quite understandable, might I add, as some one whose ancestors suffered 3.5 years of German occupation. Unlike the wimpy French, the Greeks, and Serbs, resisted and pinned down German troops, and suffered greatly for it. And the Poles, suffered greatly as well under the German occupation. As did Russians and some Ukrainians, while other Ukranians eagerly cooperated with the Nazis.

In 1945, without the use of caterpillars, just maps, the Red Army magically “lifted” Poland and moved it 150 miles west. Prussia/Silesia (German) became Poland. Konigsberg became Kaliningrad (USSR/Russia). And L’wow, Poland became Lvov, Ukraine SSR, even though it was a pluralistic city and not very Ukrainian, let alone Russian. No matter, Stalin wanted it, and he took it.

As in all wars, the common people suffered. In this case, the German refugees. But given the havoc their compatriots wreaked throughout Europe, well, at least they survived to help create West Germany.

Are the Poles going to welcome the Ukrainian refugees and invite them create a greater new Poland? Somehow, I doubt it. The Western Ukranians will be left to flounder or become wards of the EU, and the Eastern Ukranians and Black Sea Ukranians will revert to their historical place as Ukrainians in Russia.

Russia will continue to slowly improve, but become a lot more dependent on China, which in the long term is not good for Russia. But when one has an existential crisis today, one must confront it, and once it is resolved, then worry about tomorrow.

Russians will never match the material living standards of Americans circa 2000-2020. But they can hit America circa 1960 with some high tech thrown in, and that’s not a bad place to be. Add in more social cohesion, and their future is hopeful in the near term, after the war. (We Americans, on the other hand are very overextended, the sanctions will hit us hard, the Europeans much harder, and the poor countries of Africa and Asia with depend on Russian/Ukranian grain and fertilizer exceedingly hard, which will add to our woes here in the US. Not a very bright future–one more reason to promote war hysteria, so we can be happy about our “sacrifices” rather than angry…).

Good analogy of Poland 1939 and Ukraine, 2022. The British reaction to the German invasion formally ignited WW2. The US reaction to Russia, the sanctions, has unofficially ignited an economic WW3.

While the French waited for the Germans to attack France (the “phony war”), we are now waiting for the impact of the sanctions to really hit America–but it has already hit Egypt, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and countries like that, and it is hitting Europe.

My history is vague, but did not the “Russ” originate in or around Kiev? Ironically, it seems the Russians are not seeking to absorb Kiev now.

Yes, but I’ve always canned. I’ve just been scared of pressure canners.

Don’t feel bad. My first pickles were inedible. The recipe called for alum! Try a different recipe, or get a kimchi fermenting jar.

      • lastman April 12, 2022 at 1:09 am #

        Top Secret…Dill Pickle recipe.

1/2 gallon Mason Jar. Put 3 sprigs of dill weed in bottom along with 2 or 3 cloves of fresh garlic. Fill jar with 2-4″ pickles/pickling cukes. You can add a few hot peppers for heat. I use jalapeno’s, hot yellow wax, or a few cayennes for desired heat. Couple more garlic cloves but leave some head space.

Add one cup white vinegar, one cup water and 3 tablespoons of canning salt. If you need more liquid to cover, more of either is fine. Your choice. Flip jar a few times to mix the salt, vin and water. You can use regular canning lids/with a ring or the plastic Ball caps that you can buy. I think the regular lids with a ring will keep them longer.

Set in the sun on your picnic table for a couple days. You must monitor your pickles daily. Flip them in the morn and eve. Turn the jars 180 degrees when you do. The sun is south of my home during the day. The more sun time (hrs.) that the pickles are exposed, the faster they will cure. In July/August here it is 85 ish during the day, 50 ish at night.

The beauty of this recipe is that you can open the jar and try a pickle to see how cured/crisp it is. If not ready, recap and leave another day or 2. To much sun/heat will turn the pickles to shit. I can say that I have never done that. Monitor your work. A crispy pickle is the goal.

Once the pickles are cured, put them in the fridge for a couple weeks. Then they can be eaten. I have a fridge in the garage where I do this. After the pickles are taken out of the fridge I have stored them in my cool/dark garage 35-65 degrees or in my root cellar for up to 2 years.

I literally make 8-10 gallons every year and people who are gifted them beg for them…every year.

If you want to make quarts or pints, just adjust the salt, vinegar and water accordingly or just eliminate the water.

Get fresh pickles if you can and soak them in ice water while you are stuffing jars. Stuffing pickles the big jars is an art.

This is the only time I will ever put this recipe on line. No more bath canning pickles. Use the sun.

I sit outside on the patio and drink beer while I do it.

I just ordered a Nesco electric canner. In the past, I canned with a Mirro canner, but the Nesco ones are all the rage around here. Everyone raves about how much more convenient they are to use.

We’re looking forward to planting a big garden this year. Between me and my daughter, we have ten tomato varieties that we started from seed, and of course we’ll have onions, carrots, lettuce, leeks, green beans, squash, okra, and I don’t know what all else. I’ve become a big fan of rutabagas, which are wonderful in lima bean soup and pot roast, though I’ve been eating them simply fried in butter.

We probably don’t need to plant parsnips, as there are wild parsnips all over the place, and they are very sweet and flavorful. (“Parsnips are what makes the soup good.”)

I’m planting lots of medicinal herbs too.

Is Russia actually winning? You certainly can’t believe either side’s propaganda. There are credible arguments that Russia never intended to stop with Ukraine but intends to take other historical avenues of invasion from the West. If so, then the western borders of the old Soviet Union will be re-established meaning that a broader war is inevitable since NATO has expanded into those areas the past 30 years–which makes the argument for Russia that the West is threatening invasion of the Russian homeland just as the West did in the 18th Century with the Swedes, the 19th Century with the French, and the 20th Century with the Germans. Will the 21st Century be the one where they all gang up on Russia and finally break her? Russian demographics look bleak. There are so few Russians being born that it may be that weather, distance, mud and poor roads are their only defenses.

    Allie Beth Stuckey, the Blaze!

“It’s not enough to be not a groomer. One must be actively anti-grooming. Those who defend themselves against accusations of grooming are simply expressing Groomer Fragility. They harbor secret groomer traits & must be shown the ways they’ve benefited from a systemic grooming.

Silence is violence when it comes to the grooming of children. Unless you are actively working to dismantle the systems of grooming, you are upholding the institutions that have oppressed children for centuries. It’s time to listen & learn. Know better so you can do better.

Get educated on this, but also don’t make those of us doing this work expend any more energy than we have to by teaching you. Resources on this stuff abound. I recommend starting with the brave
@libsoftiktok to see how what this system of grooming looks like.

It’s time we stop centering groomers and work to establish anti-grooming policies and programs. I recommend a government division, The Anti-Grooming Task Force, in which unelected anti-grooming activists determine whether institutions are sufficiently anti-grooming.

Public school can’t be reformed. It must be defunded & dismantled. Abolition or bust. We must also reimagine a society in which the nuclear family, fathers especially, are the biggest influence not just in their child’s life, but in society. We must recognize the role Toxic Matriarchy has played in upholding systemic grooming.”

Jarek: Our response to the continual screamed accusation of “Racist” will be Groomer. And yes, women are the tip of the spear of the Groomer movement, as mothers and teachers.

This is the amount an economics professor from Duke, William Darity, decided was the correct amount. Even though, as this article points out, California was never a slave state and 35% of the population is Hispanic.

Only if he is soon replaced by The (Vice) Giggler. (Was ‘The Giggler’ one of those villains from the 1960s Batman TV series? Naw, that was The Riddler. But we know who will be added as a Guest Villain to the cast today if that show is ever rebooted. Thing is, can the Writers even begin to write a script for The American Giggler with the same quality of clueless gibberish she comes up with herself when speaking to reporters or World leaders?).

Otherwise, The Leader Of The Free World will still have plenty of opportunities to still be utterly confused and royally eff more things up.

“As the military conflict resolves, Ukraine can’t be used by the White House as a shield to divert America’s attention from the political cancer of Biden family corruption, and the systemic illness of the nation’s institutions.”

A new set of those inspirational wall posters will soon be on display in offices of politicians, bureaucrats, CEOs, and other grifters: “IF YOU’RE NOT CHEATING… YOU’RE NOT TRYING… TODAY, RESOLVE TO TRY HARDER!”.

And Our Titanic World gets one more day closer to the Big Karmic Iceberg…

      Round all

I went to church on Sunday and it was supporting a charity aimed at Ukraine. I thought to myself, every charitable dollar put into Ukraine makes the war go on a few minutes more. The more money they get, the longer the war. More people killed, more political grandstanding. Does Z want his country destroyed before he is satisfied?

Putin knows what he wants, NATO the heck out of Ukraine. Z will be happy I guess when East Ukraine is in ashes, 50% of Ukrainians are gone, one way or the other.

This is not the US only, but the NWO vs. Russia, period.

      • JohnAZ April 11, 2022 at 7:31 pm #

        For me, this is weird.

The NWO, aka the Deep State in the US, is trying to turn this country into an Ult-Left socialist gimme society with their elite running things.

Hmmm, what does that sound like? Like what the USSR was trying to make us into for forty years during the Cold War.

So now, Russia is the target for the folks who are now trying to make us like Russia?

        Huh?

        • Socrates-Detroit April 11, 2022 at 10:08 pm #

JohnAZ, my Republican friend, the US IS THE ENFORCEMENT ARM of the NWO. If the NWO is the Mafia, the US is “the muscle”.

However, today I will not argue with you because..

I found your 7:31 comment actually very thought-provoking, thank you! And here are the thoughts it provoked–role reversal!

I should have seen it coming, when, to my dismay and revulsion, we let all these Russians run around Langley AFB in summer 1989, as if we had just re-won WW2 together. I didn’t dislike the Russians, but I thought of all the poor enlisted folks whose career had been ruined for some petty oversight about “compromised security”…and now, this, Russians on the flight line!!! Terrible. In the Langly Flyer (the base paper), we read that our F15 maintainers could not believe the Soviet Air Force counterparts who told them typically didn’t change tires on their fighters till 100 take/off landings, while the 1st TFW would never go more than 17-25 before changing…. The Russians were very impressed at the Americans’ safety practices…

Some thoughts provoked, about role reversal:

In 1980, Pravda was propaganda and the NY Times was credible. Now it is the opposite.

Up until the 1980s, the USSR promoted a totalitarian way of life, enforced it using force.

Today “US” (the PTB/Deep State/Establishment/Elite, or whatever name you use) is also promoting a totalitarian way of life, but using “soft power”, like psychological warfare and lying to promote it at home and abroad, backed up by hard power–military when the adversaries cannot strike back, economic otherwise.

America was founded as an experiment in limited government. Over time (Civil War, direct election of Senators, Federal Reserve Act and Fed Income Tax, growth of Fed govt), the limited government is no longer limited, is it?

Russia was an autocratic monarchy that, over time, dabbled with limited freedom for the people, and by 1914, was not autocratic anymore. The Communists put an end to that for over 70 years. Russia is now democracy, of sorts, with limited freedom.

Russia has no easy warm water ports. It is a naturally rich country, but not as rich as the USA was an is.

The US also does not need to defend its borders (and actually does not, since the invasion from Mexico serves the PTB, much like the chaos in Russia in 1917 served the CCP). Russia has a lot of border to defend.

So yes, Russia is the target for folks who want to make us like the USSR (substitute the Deep State for the Communist Party)

The idea is to depopulate Russia and loot the country.

      • JohnAZ April 11, 2022 at 7:38 pm #

        Paula

You are right, Russia is powerful, resource wise, even more than the USA.

The NWO wants to soften up Russia, their number two target.

Russia has something else in mind, I would bet money on.

Next door they have a country that is just busting out with people, that would love to “homestead” forty acres and a mule in Siberia when it becomes increasingly farmable. Another country just to the south of them. Russia has the smarts to control a border too.

A report from a Swiss officer who worked for NATO, on the Nazis in Ukraine.
After the coup in 2014 a lot of the Ukrainian army defected to the separatist side or refused to kill the citizens of Donbass.
    He talks about that here….
”In fact, the Ukrainian army was undermined by the corruption of its cadres and no longer enjoyed the support of the population. According to a British Home Office report, in the March/April 2014 recall of reservists, 70 percent did not show up for the first session, 80 percent for the second, 90 percent for the third, and 95 percent for the fourth. In October/November 2017, 70% of conscripts did not show up for the “Fall 2017” recall campaign. This is not counting suicides and desertions (often over to the autonomists), which reached up to 30 percent of the workforce in the ATO area. Young Ukrainians refused to go and fight in the Donbass and preferred emigration, which also explains, at least partially, the demographic deficit of the country.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense then turned to NATO to help make its armed forces more “attractive.” Having already worked on similar projects within the framework of the United Nations, I was asked by NATO to participate in a program to restore the image of the Ukrainian armed forces. But this is a long-term process and the Ukrainians wanted to move quickly.

So, to compensate for the lack of soldiers, the Ukrainian government resorted to paramilitary militias. In 2020, they constituted about 40 percent of the Ukrainian forces and numbered about 102,000 men, according to Reuters. They were armed, financed and trained by the United States, Great Britain, Canada and France. There were more than 19 nationalities.

These militias had been operating in the Donbass since 2014, with Western support. Even if one can argue about the term “Nazi,” the fact remains that these militias are violent, convey a nauseating ideology and are virulently anti-Semitic…[and] are composed of fanatical and brutal individuals. The best known of these is the Azov Regiment, whose emblem is reminiscent of the 2nd SS Das Reich Panzer Division, which is revered in the Ukraine for liberating Kharkov from the Soviets in 1943, before carrying out the 1944 Oradour-sur-Glane massacre in France.”

For Zelensky and many in his government, Russian is their first language, and their grandfathers fought with the Red Army 1941-1945. I’m sure the irony of Z serving as CIC of a battalion of so called ‘Nazis’ is not lost on him. “Or that real National Socialists would use THEIR OWN people as human shields?”

The Azovs don’t consider Russian-speaking Ukrainians as their own people. That’s why they’ve been filmed kicking civilians in the head when they’re already on the ground with their hands held behind their backs. And why they want them ‘cleansed’, from babies upwards. Like Schwab and Gates really. Same difference.

          • Kim April 13, 2022 at 10:31 pm #

            @ Nightsoil

Stephan Bandera was quite the independent thinker – and actor.

I don’t believe it is possible to pigeonhole him one way or another. Throughout his colorful life he collaborated widely, with everyone from the NatSocs to the West Geman government to British Intelligence. The unifying thought only ever seems to have been independence for Ukraine and oppostion to the Soviet Judeo-Bolsheviks.

No the least interesting feature of his career is that a man whom so many claim to have been a war criminal (but who wasn’t in WW2?) was allowed after the war to settle in West Germany.

How can that be explained? Or better, justified, if he were such a monster? Anyway…

            Before WW2

            > In 1934, [Bandera] and Mikola LEBED planned and organized the assassination of PIERACKY, the Polish Minister of the Interior, accused by the Ukrainians of anti-Ukrainian acts.

            > Bandera was first sentenced to death and then the sentence was commuted to life imprisonment. His trial took place in 1935 after which he was committed to the Holy Cross jail where he remained until 1939. It is alleged that his sentence was commuted to avoid an uprising of Ukrainian nationalists in Eastern Poland and the Ukraine.

            https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/war/ukraine-40s.htm

            > Bandera cultivated German military circles favorable to Ukrainian independence, and organized OUN expeditionary groups.

            > When Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union, he prepared the 30 June 1941 Proclamation of Ukrainian statehood in Lviv, pledging to work with Nazi Germany. For his refusal to rescind the decree, Bandera was arrested…[and] put…under house arrest on 5 July 1941, and later between 1942 and 1943 [he was] sent…to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.

            > In 1944, with Germany rapidly losing ground in the war…Bandera was released in the hope that he would be instrumental in deterring the advancing Soviet forces. He set up the headquarters of the re-established Ukrainian Supreme Liberation Council, which worked underground.

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stepan_Bandera

This was certainly a reasonable strategy, given the deep hatred that Ukrainians felt for the Soviets and their commissars after the genocide of the Holodomor.

            After the war..

            > He settled with his family in West Germany where he remained the leader of the OUN-B and worked with several anti-communist organizations such as the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations as well as with the British intelligence agencies.

            > Fourteen years after the end of the war, Bandera was assassinated…by KGB agents in Munich.

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stepan_Bandera

So there we have, very briefly, the Zelig-like career of Stephan Bandera, a Ukranian ultra-patriot who lived through an age when everybody was insisting that the global duty of Ukranians was simply to die.

Like Ukraine itself, Bandera declined to simply die on the command of larger empires and so it was not until quite late in the game that, in 1959, the KGB, in their always-mysterious way, decided to take him permanently out of the sphere of British intelligence.

    • Anthea April 12, 2022 at 9:08 am #

      @ Paula:

Fascinating! It’s also paints a pretty clear picture of how our own government would wage war against its own citizens, in the event of any attempt at secession.

Makes you wonder how waging war against its own people using mercenaries would work out for the broke-ass US government–and in a country like the US. It seems to me that the mercenaries would accept a free plane ride here, collect their first paycheck, and disappear. Probably with a shit-ton of arms and ammunition. The temptation to take up residence along the seacost and set up shop in the underground economy would be almost irresistible.

Any mercenaries who couldn’t figure out something better (and more lucrative) to do than get shot at would probably be too stupid to be very effective militarily.

Perhaps the same situation obtains in Ukraine.

      • tucsonspur April 12, 2022 at 7:04 am #

That’s one viewpoint. It is not a good thing if Americans are only getting their fight thrills vicariously and are not out fighting the Left in the streets, ready to brawl with hundreds of thousands if not millions of people in heated demonstrations across America. The absence of such fighting is both lamentable and disturbing, since the Left will continue to radically transform the nation with pleasure and with ease without it.

That being said, I’m sure that many Americans like myself enjoy an over-the-top fight like the one posted. Odenkirk was protecting a young girl and taking out the bad guys. I love it when the good guy fucks up a gang of bad guys. So what if it’s over the top, it’s a movie!

Too much violence in movies? I can agree with that.

Coming from a female, your take is somewhat understandable, even if misguided and filled with presumptuous platitudes.

Not a man worthy of the name who doesn’t like a good fight. I’ve been in them and there isn’t much else like unleashing the beast. Cathartic. Elevating. Almost purifying. But you wouldn’t know, would you?

This body bag and material quantified list illustrates what happens to an aggressor invading Ukraine, after 47 days of War:

    – Tanks….725
    – APCs….1923

Ukraine is getting wrecked and their army is being destroyed; but the sad part is that Zelensky thinks that by holding out, he will get better surrender terms.

      Not gonna happen.

The longer he waits, the more Ukraine will suffer death and destruction; and when its all said and done he will agree to the original Russian peace terms available to him on day one of the war.

Western media is a non stop Ukrainian pep rally.

Thats why you hafta watch non white news programs out of places like Indonesia, India… in order to get accurate information about the war like pictures of dead Ukrainian soldiers and their bases being searched by Russian and Chechen soldiers.

      • Socrates-Detroit April 11, 2022 at 10:15 pm #

I agree, we cannot get a clear picture from Western media. It is all propaganda.

“Now that Russia failed to take Kiev, the Russians are preparing for a big offensive in the East”–western media.

Umm, no. Why would Russia want the nightmare of urban war to take over a large city? Most of the action has been in the East already, but just ignored by our media.

Now they are telling us, to get us ready for the inevitable Ukranian defeat, so that we are not surprised, after hearing about all the glorious Ukrainian victories, like Tekapo/Trypillian’s statistics on Russian losses, and that joe average doesn’t start to think, “gee, how could the news be wrong?”

Zelensky is being forced to fight on, IMO. But who knows, maybe he believes it.

The longer this goes on, the more the Ukranians will suffer–and the angrier Russia will be with the West for prolonging it.

He is also holding out because his handlers want maximum PR exposure. The longer this drags on, the more likely it is they can gin up a few more “war crimes” and shoot a few more battle scenes with super models carrying machine guns.

The US State Department alredy told us: this war is about who can tell the “best story.”

    • KesaAnna April 12, 2022 at 3:00 am #

In this particular case , false eyelashes and makeup would be evidence to me that the video is authentic , not staged.

My info is 30 years old.

My current info is near – zero.

      With that caveat ;

30 years ago in the Soviet military system women were allowed in the army , but were primarily limited to secretarial , communications , and other logistics support – type roles.

The only two combat arms women were allowed in were field medics , and sometimes snipers,

Sniper is primarily a defensive role anyway. You deploy numbers of snipers when you are losing , and being a top – shelf athlete is not a high priority in that defensive / static role.

Anyway , as I said , snipers are something of a niche , something of an exception .

So as a battlefield role for girls , we are back to primarily combat medics.

Gutsy I think , because in Soviet practice Medics aren’t armed.

You are running around the battlefield with a bag full of bandages and syringes , not a rifle.

Maybe someone will informally sell you a surplus pistol ?

Here again size is not such a critical matter ; you aren’t lugging around a rifle , a machine gun , or a squad mortar. Grenades , or lots of heavy ammo.

Small size is , if anything , a plus.

You are running around the battlefield like anyone else , but unlike anyone else your job isn’t killing the enemy.

Avoiding getting shot by the enemy you could say IS part of your job.

You aren’t going to help many wounded if you busy getting shot yourself.

A small size target is a small size target.

Now for another aspect of Soviet Military culture —

For men the military is compulsory , but for women it is voluntary.

I still can’t figure out what that is supposed to imply in Western thinking ??

But in the Soviet system the implications are pretty straight- forward ,

      Three kinds of girls would VOLUNTEER for the army ;

      — Lesbians .

      — A girl who is in the wrong place anyway , and will soon be tossed out , or toss herself out , anyway , so hardly a factor.

      — Girls who understand perfectly well going in that they are joining an institution that has been all – male for 50 thousand years , and is the very image of excess testosterone and excess virility at that ,

and these girls are perfectly fine with that.

Women in Soviet military practice were expected to moonlight as ” girlfriends “.

None of this was written down anywhere , but never the less .

A fun thing to do for awhile to pass the time might be to scour the internet looking for old images of Soviet and Warsaw Pact female medics.

I’m confident that after looking at any number of these you might get the impression that a disproportionate number of them look more like Cheerleader stereotypes , than Rosanne Barr types.

And referring back to what I said above , this is likely no coincidence.

I’m NOT a mind reader , but I get the impression , false or true, that this girl is already turning over in her mind the question , ” Who do I have to ingratiate myself with here ? ”

Which , if current Ukrainian practice is anything like old Soviet practice , she has been self – selected and then conditioned and trained to think and respond in this way , anyway.

Actually just doing her job as normal. .

    Sergei Lavrov

Russia’s military action in Ukraine is meant to put an end to the US-dominated world order, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has explained. Washington has been seeking supremacy by imposing ad-hoc rules and violating international law, he claimed, in an interview aired by Russian television on Monday.

He was referring to America’s attempts to impose its own so-called “rules-based international order,” which have met with strong resistance from Moscow and China.

“Our special military operation is meant to put an end to the unabashed expansion [of NATO] and the unabashed drive towards full domination by the US and its Western subjects on the world stage,” Lavrov told Rossiya 24 news channel.

“This domination is built on gross violations of international law and under some rules, which they are now hyping so much and which they make up on a case-by-case basis,” he added.

EU now NATO’s ‘economic department’ – RussiaREAD MORE: EU now NATO’s ‘economic department’ – Russia
Russia is among the nations who would not submit to Washington’s will, the Russian diplomat added. It will only be part of an international community of equals and will not allow Western nations to ignore its legitimate security concerns, Lavrov said.

Lavrov blasted EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell for appearing to encourage more fighting in Ukraine. The bloc’s top diplomat said the conflict “will be won on the battlefield” as he announced more military aid to Kiev last Saturday. Lavrov called the statement “outrageous.”

“When a diplomatic chief … says a certain conflict can only be resolved through military action… Well, it must be something personal. He either misspoke or spoke without thinking, making a statement that nobody asked him to make. But it’s an outrageous remark,” Lavrov added.

The EU’s role has shifted during the Ukraine security crisis, the minister believes. Previously it didn’t act as a military organization “fighting collectively against an invented threat.” Lavrov said the change was the result of pressure put on the bloc’s members by Washington, which has pushed it closer to NATO.

For its part, Russia wants to negotiate peace with Ukraine, Lavrov added.

Moscow attacked its neighbor in late February, following Ukraine’s failure to implement the terms of the Minsk agreements signed in 2014, and Russia’s eventual recognition of the Donbass republics in Donetsk and Lugansk. The German and French brokered protocols had been designed to regularize the status of those regions within the Ukrainian state.

Russia has now demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join the US-led NATO military bloc. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked and has denied claims it was planning to retake the two republics by force.

    Anglin talking about Lavrov’s picture:
I’ve only met two people in real life who were able to communicate this level of calm ferocity in their physiognomy and facial expression. One was my maternal grandfather, and the other was an Australian Vietnam veteran I met in a village in [redacted]. I did not ever have a meaningful conversation with either, as their consciousness appeared to exist on a separate plane of reality. The closest I have come to understanding the nature of this other plane is by playing Planescape: Torment.

In all reality I feel I have been wrong ,Covid ,2008 ,5$ gas, goverment corruption , refinery’s blowing up, pipelines stopping ,crazy wars the list goes on etc etc etc.

Just today I was watching this documentary about Pompeii and Herculenuem.

In reference to the excavated houses and estates of the super – super – rich ,

in half the cases the owners of these places are anonymous and likely to remain so.

Of those where the owners name / identity is known , it almost never turns out to be a Brutus or a Caesar , a Sulla or a Caracalla.

But now knowing the name , still no bells of recognition go off.

Pretty much the only thing you now know about the owner is their name , and that they had a really nice house.

Here you have a portrait of Easy Street in Ancient Rome ,

but the individual legacies of these people to their descendants 2,000 years later is scarcely different or greater than that of a beggar in Zambia .

        In such cases I’m often reminded of the last statement in a hostile biography of Joseph Mengele ;

” His was an unworthy life. ”

I wonder how the biographer arrived at that conclusion ?

OK , Auschwitz was really fucking bad.

But Auschwitz was barely two years out of his life.

        He lived 68 years.

Take out that two years , and what is the 66 years you are left with ?

A lot of really boring shit.

His entire notoriety comes down to 20 months.

Anyway , my best guest is that to judge value or lack of value , success or failure , in a human life ,

you would have to see the big picture.

And humans never see the big picture.

Here again this is why I say a theory of a good God and a positive afterlife are not primarily matters of faith , or wishful thinking ,

but primarily a matter of the mundane establishment of a concept of justice that is remotely credible.

        • Jarek April 12, 2022 at 12:46 pm #

Catholicism says God is good and just.
And that He will bestow His justice in the afterlife.
          You don’t believe that,
Thus you are not a Catholic.

This is an extended syllogism. If the premises are true, then the conclusion must be. If you don’t like the conclusion, change the premises (repent).

If memory serves, you do believe the above in an abstract sense, the doctrines of Faith kept locked up in some dusty corner of your mind. Better than nothing…..

But when I do I tend to think about the Chernobyl exclusion zone. It’s actually the setting for many bad horror movies lol. But really if you ever look at pictures of the abandoned, decaying homes and buildings and how the dilapidated cityscape has merged with the forest it is super eerie. I also think that will be the future for a lot of places, even here in the US. Whether by accident or incompentence or deliberate choices. But then there is that old saying that one man’s trash is another’s treasure. So as much as it will be an end it will also be a beginning.

      My favorite Communist slogan ;

” Communism is Soviet power plus the electrification of the whole country. ”

      — Lenin’s slogan for GOELRO , the plan to bring electricity to all of Russia.

      My favorite piece of Communist art ;

      https://www.lempertz.com/en/catalogues/lot/1084-1/60-grigorij-jefimovich-shpolansky.html

Back in the day I thought Chernobyl was beautiful.

See , Third – Worlders in jack boots could do that shit too !

Every bit as impressive , or more , to me than Cosmonauts or Gymnasts.

I have been out of the loop too long , so no idea what the deal is now ?

But back in the day we ran more nuclear power plants , longer , and cheaper , than anybody else.

If I had excess disposable income I would buy Soviet art showcasing power plants and factories.

There was a lot of it , and it was a staple right up until the end.

Pictures of Lenin in front of a factory or power plant — absolutely common.

Funny thing ; the entire period of Lenin’s rule was a period of weakness and poverty.

Pretty much 90 % of those factories and power plants were built long after Lenin was dead.

So it should be Stalin in front of all those power plants and factories.

But how bad was Stalin ?

Bad enough that even the Soviets themselves wanted to paint him out of the picture.

Best thing Jarek ever wrote — ” The Americans ; The empty glass is full ! ”

So how bad was Lincoln ?

Anyway , for the most part factories and power plants ceased to be a fixture of Western art around the time the Titanic sank.

I suppose you have to be poor to continue to see a thing like electricity as gee – whiz marvelous ?

I commonly think of the Titanic and Chernobyl in the same vein .

Both were great works of art.

The respective blame – games for both seem to accomplish nothing.

      Shit happens.

Shit happens to GOELRO , shit happens to The White Star Line.

Shit happens to Howard Johnson’s , and Sears Roebuck.

Apparently dogs are doing OK at Chernobyl .

Maybe dog welfare is something of a rough measure for human welfare ?

If dogs are doing OK , maybe there is some hope for humans ?

      • BackRowHeckler April 12, 2022 at 4:19 am #

I think Americans will be finding out what a rare and precious gift a steady, reliable and affordable supply of electricity is as the nation makes its ‘Transition to Renewables’, and electrical power generated by windmills and solar panels isn’t reliable and affordable any longer, but spotty and expensive.

      • SoftStarLight April 12, 2022 at 12:49 pm #

You have very interesting taste Kesa. 🙂

I have heard points and counterpoints about how radioactive the exclusion zone actually is. Some people say that in many ways the radioactivity has decreased to somewhat elevated background levels. So it makes sense that wildlife and trees thrive throughout the exclusion zone. Others say that if the soil is disturbed clouds of radioactivity can easily be stirred up. Some are saying Russian troops recently stirred up clouds of radiation there. Likely both views are part of the truth. I tend to think ruins can actually be very beautiful and magical. Like a story waiting to be remembered and told again.

Zones of apocalyptic squalor and abandoned post industrial decay already exist in cities all over the USA, SSL. Chernobyl got nothing on large swaths of Detroit, Baltimore, Buffalo, and Minneapolis … and increasingly LA, SF, Portland and Seattle.

A scene from one of my favorite movies that BRH might appreciate.

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8P-ksDCBls

That is he might appreciate how I see it.

        1904?

Even the income tax is still in the dim future. It’s a society that is 98% private sector.

If I remember correctly , 1904 was the year the United States sent The Great White Fleet on a world – wide tour.

The Navy was still primarily a white – washed alternative to prison.

All the focus was still on Britain’s Royal Navy and Germany’s upstart High Seas Fleet.

Judy Garland was really fucked up.

MAYBE that had something to do with a 1930’s private sector Hollywood that , even if you totally discount the possible sex angle , almost certainly fiendishly exploited 12 year old girls.

        Anyway , back to 1904 —

There were more bars and taverns in America than there are McDonald’s or Starbucks Coffee shops combined now.

St. Louis certainly would have had a Red Light District , and probably one of the local Fraternal Order of Police’s biggest annual charitable patrons.

Cocaine and Heroin could be bought over the counter.

Perhaps then a movie like this is outlandishly grossly naive and misleading.

Or maybe the idea of military superpower is a goofy religion that hasn’t served the United States any better than it served Russia ?

I’ve seen the film just recently KA, that was a great clip.

In ‘The Education of Henry Adams’ one of the themes of the entire book was the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis, which to Adams represented a dynamic, industrialized America, a frightening Collusus filled with immigrants from the world over, which he unfavorably compares to an earlier genteel, homogeneous America of his Boston Brahmin ancestors, including two US presidents.

President Theodore Roosevelt also visited the St. Louis World’s Fair, where the log cabin from his cowboys days in NDakota was on display.

You can look at Sanborn fire insurance maps of the US for 1900 and 1910. I don’t know if they are available for every location in the US, but they have them for all the Missouri towns in my vicinity–at least all that I’ve looked for.

For many–even most–of these little towns, the picture that emerges from these old maps shows vibrant local economies. The town of 5,000 nearest me had about one-third the population is has now, but roughly the same number of businesses–probably nearly all of which were owned and run by local residents.

What’s more, these businesses offered just about everything in the way of consumer goods, services, and entertainment that was available back then. There was a photographer, a picture framer, and even an opera house–and this in a town with a population of 2,000 or less.

For most places, what these maps reveal is a much more prosperous era.

People today seem little aware that, in former times, mature adults did not aspire to “get a job.” They planned on starting their own business. “A job” was for youngsters, a way for them to learn a business or trade and save enough capital to strike out on their own.

In a truly free economy, people would not need to go hat-in-hand and beg some corporate conglomerate for “a job.” They would look around at their community and assess its needs and wants, and then they’d start a business that would provide these.

          • BackRowHeckler April 12, 2022 at 11:28 am #

Yeah, just to expand your points (which are excellent) in Ct, within living memory, every little town on the landscape had its own industries. The town I’m in now featured redbrick plants that manufactured nuts and bolts, writing paper, and an ancient grist mill for grinding up locally grown wheat — which operated 1660-1932. An adjacent town had a factory that made edged tools 1826-1966. Another town made gunpowder. Hitchcock furniture was here, Sharps Firearms, Columbia bicycle, barrel makers and so on. Point is all kinds of consumer goods were manufactured, employing many people. Towns themselves were surrounded by family farms. It has all evaporated. The farmland has been transformed into strip malls, office parks and housing developments. The industries that remain are clients of the Defense Dept., massive corporations like General Dynamics and P&W aircraft. What a mess it is.

This is the American Way of Death.

One pharmacist I talked to told me about the hell of being the only pharmacist in his town, the endless hours, having to bring his family into it when they didn’t want to be. He concluded, How wonderful that young pharmacists can work normal hours for big companies. The happiest day of his life was selling it to a young guy and retiring.

Balance is sometimes hard to attain. His town wasn’t big enough for two pharmacies but too big for one. Just like you can be perfectly in between two shoe sizes. Imagine going thru life like that in a perfectly standardized economy. Thank God the different makers don’t size them exactly the same. So I end up partially agreeing with you – but that doesn’t negate the earlier caveats. Ours is fa fallen species and Capitalism reinforces our fallen nature. Communism? the same! @ Jarek:

The Sanborn Fire Insurance maps do not present a picture of small businesses mushrooming into Multinational Conglomerated, Inc.

In general, a business can only become a corporate behemoth through government intervention of some kind: monopoly, subsidy, or regulation.

E.g., why did the pharmacist you speak of not hire an employee or two? It wasn’t because of lack of capital, as pharmacies are quite lucrative buinesses, and being a pharmacist is quite a lucrative occupation.

My guess is that he was unwilling to hire employees because the government punishes businesses for hiring employees, imposing burdensome costs and mountains of paperwork.

We can see from your account of the situation that he didn’t need to hire a pharmacist, since his solution was to involve family members in the business. It appears that he most likely needed someone to bag up the prescriptions, ring the register, and answer the phone.

Common observation will tell you that the small businessman or woman rarely aspires to expand the business into an empire. I’ve known many people in business, and I don’t recall ever encountering a single instance of this.

I’ve known small businessmen who have opened a second location–having identified and underserved second market. I’ve also known of business that grew quite large, due to landing at least one really big account. Sometimes Hallmark needs to find a printer. If you’re the guy with the kind of capabilities they need, you’ll get the contract.

For the most part, small businesses are started by guys (or gals) who have identified a need or want in their community that is a good fit with their own interests and abilities. Maybe you love all things related to the internal combustion engine, and you would love to own a race track. Maybe you are thrilled by the gustatory and artistic possibilities offered by baked goods, and you can see that no one is offering your community these delights.

Take my own case, for example. Almost all commercially produced “soaps” and shampoos are disgusting products that are harmful to skin and hair. This is because they are not soaps, but harsh detergents. I thought people might like to be able to buy real soap–you know, something that won’t give you acne or eczema. I thought they might like them scented with high-quality fragrances, instead of stinky synthetic el-cheapo ones, and they might like their products to be beautiful, rather like having some of the crown jewels of Austria displayed in your eupehmism.

Sure enough, people did want these products, and it turns out that I have a talent for producing that type of thing, along with a passion for formulating the best possible stuff.

Most small businesses are just guys/gals who are using their talents to serve their community. (It’s nice to be able to buy new tires when you need them.) Sometimes they can be of even further service to their communities by employing people. If such business people are industrious, they’ll enjoy both financial rewards and the respect and appreciation of the rest of the community.

In my view, this is capitalism. The big conglomerates are not capitalist enterprises, but mostly quasi-governmental enterprises whose size and success is conferred by government intrusion into markets in the form of monopoly, subsidy, and regulation.

We talk about overpopulation destroying our resources.

Not overpopulation, but too high population density.

The cities are there already. This idiot Deep State and its drive to impost more and more is absolutely insane. All the cities are going to get huge influxes of illegals in the next few years. The cities cannot handle themselves now. Look for many defaults in the next few years.

Talk about insanity. Palm Springs California is going to pay its perverts $900 a month BMI, and only the perverts.

Large animals have made a comeback, wolves, bears, and even wild boars. All of this is very rare west of the Urals, except perhaps remote parts of the Balkans.

Maybe they have a slightly higher rate of mutation, but if they individuals aren’t fit, they don’t make it. Thus the species is maintained and they all have benefited from man’s misfortune. Ditto the border zone between North and South Korea.

        It reminds of this

        Isaiah 34: 12-16

Her nobles will have nothing there to be called a kingdom, all her princes will vanish away. Thorns will overrun her citadels, nettles and brambles her strongholds. She will become a haunt for jackals, a home for owls. Desert creatures will meet with hyenas, and wild goats will bleat to each other; there the night creatures will also repose and find for themselves places of rest. The owl will nest there and lay eggs, she will hatch them, and care for her young under the shadow of her wings; there also the falcons will gather, each with its mate. Look in the scroll of the LORD and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together.

        • JohnAZ April 12, 2022 at 1:23 pm #

Interesting that Isaiah understood the finite nature of empires a long time ago.

        • Jarek April 12, 2022 at 1:42 pm #

It starts off sounding negative (as it is in human terms), but then admits it’s not all bad since it’s good for the animals.

Pretty good since the Judeo-Christian tradition isn’t generally that interested in nature. But there are recognitions of its beauty here and there. This passage may be unique in taking the animals’ pov though.

Of course nature is horrible, the realm of eating and being eaten unless you’re an alpha predator or herbivore. And even then there is sickness and starvation. And humans are by no means free from these or their fruit, death.

The Fathers teach that Nature fell when Man did. Not sure exactly what that means. Lions not eating lambs? No animal
          dying? Therefore no reproduction either?

          • Anthea April 12, 2022 at 9:08 pm #

            @ Jarek:

I think that we say that Nature fell when Man did because of that phenomenon that is said by quantum theory to occur: The object perceived changes, depending on who’s looking.

Change the consciousnes of Man, and you change everything he looks at.

Some Clusterfucker’s seem to like personal note – type shit.

The past ten years the area between my chest and grown seems to have transformed into a hundred year old termite – riddled bridge.

So first one hernia , then two , then three , then four , and five.

So hernia surgery the 6th of April.

I wasn’t supposed to eat or drink anything after midnight , but I had a small glass of milk and a piece of cheese anyway at 1 AM.

I figured it couldn’t be any worse than completely ignoring the advice to quit smoking like a steam locomotive.

After all that cavalier shit , I got spooked though.

The movie I went to sleep watching was 1932’s , ” Lost Horizon ”

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_Horizon_(1937_film)

    Seems like a bad omen.

So then I go to the hospital .

The attending nurse has the same first name as my LATE favorite aunt.

The Anesthesiologist has the same surname as my LATE brothers given name.

    Bad omens everywhere.

I don’t tell anyone this crazy downer shit though.

    Instead I get philosophical .

I suppose there are much worse ways than going to sleep and never waking up.

I had 56 very interesting years , and I can’t speak for others , but I ENJOYED smoking all those cigarettes.

    This song fits me I think ;

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8ocviQ3ux0

    Well the worst didn’t happen.

Two hours later I was walking out of the hospital .

( That’s the shortest stay under anesthesia I have ever had. )

I spent that afternoon smoking two packs of cigarettes and showing my ass on CFN.

Then came five days ( ? ) of Hell .

It wasn’t so much that it hurt , it really didn’t hurt that bad ,

but I didn’t want to eat anything , anything I drank tasted awful.

I couldn’t lay down because every time I did it felt like I had pneumonia and my lungs were full of snot , so couldn’t breathe , and I didn’t have sufficient energy to sit up.

That felt like being a turtle pinned on its back.

But I couldn’t sleep sitting up.

    I couldn’t smoke.

One of the worse parts of being sick is you can never do so alone ,

but no one I have ever stayed with likes a house as cold as I like it.

    And I have never spent time in a hospital that this didn’t eventually happen ;

” I’ll quit hassling you with the call button crap , if you just turn off the fucking heat to the room the first time ! ”

And finally I haven’t been able to walk anywhere except doubled over.

I have watched a hell of a lot of TV , but can’t tell you half of what I watched.

I have seen this movie , ” Kidnapping Mr. Heineken ” four times.

But still can’t tell you anything beyond the first four minutes of the movie.

Maybe that was the OxyCodone they gave me ?

But I wasn’t exactly eating those like candy , and those ran out at 8 AM yesterday.

But I still feel suddenly stupid and vacant.

That brings us up to date.

I still feel like shit , I’m still weak as a kitten ,

but I am back to smoking and back to CFN .

Naomi Wolf was on Tucker last night and they were talking about the extreme lockdown in Shanghai. Tucker says it has something to do with an upcoming election or something. In a way I was sort of upset because I feel like Tucker was kinda getting down on China so that he could deflect away from criticism that he is not down enough on Russia. But the videos from Shanghai are super spooky. Well anyway lol, Dr. Wolf was saying that she thinks the Biden admin is going to reinstate lockdowns or emergencies again prior to the midterms to prevent the elections all together. Just a comment.

I remember that where most of the capital to make all these loans came from.

USA taxpayers. We have supported the financing of the world for three generations.

BUT, not only taxpayers. We have accumulated a debt of 30 trillion dollars for the federal government by trying to manipulate the world. Sell those bonds, run the presses.

The USA is no longer able to support the world’s debt. As countries default, it is our pocket that is being picked.

An author, I cannot remember his name, stated in his book a couple of years ago that the world financial system needed the illicit trades at our southern border to keep the system afloat, ie pay the interest payment on the debt. Are we now running out of liquidity to the point that every country is just going to default? Guess who is going to go default quickly if that happens. Us!!!

Let’s see? Have we heard of an outfit that might just benefit from this possibility? An outfit that did this to the Bank of England to destroy its credit?

Are the Rothschilds et al going to buy up the world? Are the globalists going to have the last laugh?

This turning point is coming fast!!!

Potential side effects of jabs include chronic inflammation, because the vaccine continuously stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies. Other concerns include the possible integration of plasmid DNA into the body’s host genome, resulting in mutations, problems with DNA replication, triggering of autoimmune responses, and activation of cancer-causing genes. What’s not being said is we’ll actually be paying more for the amount of real energy we’re buying. A gallon of ethanol has only about 65-70% of the energy contained in a gallon of gasoline. So increasing the percentage of ethanol actually will get me less bang for my buck. What kind of fools do they think we are? Oh, forget I asked that. It also pollutes more so there goes the GND bullshit. Last week he warns about food shortages and this week we’ll be burning our food in our cars. Also it kills small engine fuel systems. What a clown show. He must be taking advice from Transportation Secretary extraordinaire Buttigag.

Buttgieg has mastered Chestfeeding and is back on the job. Shipping is still backed up off the West Coast, but Pete has a plan: ban diesel powered semi trucks by 2030.

2030 seems to be the watershed year now: ICE vehicles will be banned, all electric power will be generated by renewables, the end of fossil fuels, and the glorious day White People become a minority in the US!

      • cowbell81 April 12, 2022 at 5:01 pm #

Ah, 2030. In keeping with the history that repeats itself (i.e. 1920 vs. 2020 worldwide flu pandemic) I predict that the 2030’s will be a repeat of The Great Depression. We will see dustbowls overtake the West with their drought, Okies will begin to press into the Pacific Northwest, and nobody will be able to afford anything because of rampant inflation and the collapse of the Dollar in favor of the Yuan.

The only fireside chats we will have to look forward to will be in our backyards over a rotating spit of coon, where we can talk about the halcyon days of the American Republic before Biden.

        • BackRowHeckler April 12, 2022 at 5:27 pm #

          No, no Cowbell!

2030 is when the Brave New World of Renewable Energy domination is complete, and the last vestiges of Fossil Fuels and White Supremacy is crushed. Everyone will drive an EV, and transgenders will be the majority.

In 2030, utopia will be at hand.

Looks like its Endgame for Ukraine in Mariupol; Russia is mopping up the last resistance. A surrender announcement will come at any time.

This news will come as a shock for many people, as we have been told over and over Ukraine is winning, Russia is losing, not only losing but suffering a humiliating defeat.

    • cowbell81 April 12, 2022 at 5:06 pm #

We should throw a ticker tape parade for Russia once the announcement of their military success is made. Putin stated earlier today that peace talks are futile and that the military operation will simply be run through to the proper completion.

Actually, better they hold out a little bit longer. The ass-whipping needs to be complete before Russia lets them cry uncle. Zelenskyy’s proving to exceed all expectations when it comes to stupidity. Honestly, I’d capture some of the hardest core Azovs and transport them back to Kiev to smoke that little prick out and have their way with him. Then put it on social media and TV everywhere, with the clear implication to NATO leaders being “next in line!”

      • tucsonspur April 12, 2022 at 9:59 pm #

NATO doesn’t have its own army, but it has a coordinated command structure. Many members are weak militarily, but you do have the US, the UK, France, and Germany. By now many of these countries are on high alert, and if Russia went into the Baltics say, it would be a lot tougher than in Ukraine.

Brilliant analysis of the DoC/CoL “Russian atrocity” propaganda campaign over at Saker:

    ******

The West is painting itself into a corner by its demented propaganda campaign. The danger is that this impasse – the inability to negotiate with war criminals who are in any case incompetent losers who can be beaten with a little more effort – may morph into a Western death wish. Has the US decided that the destruction of Europe by a continent-wide war will subject it forever to its rule (as it did in 1945) and mean the permanent weakening of Russia? And of China too, since Europe has been a major market for both economies (and the straying of Europe’s wanton thoughts towards them has provoked this crisis.) Has the American Empire decided that the definitive way to subject Europe to its will is not to lovingly extend its protection once again against the wicked ogre to the east, but to actually cripple Europe, reduce her to a basket case, by a brutal war with the ogre which will teach her once and for all where her interest lies? In other words, protect her permanently from the rapist next door by letting the rapist have his wicked way with her for a week. That may underlie this insane, suicidal rush towards military intervention, fueled by the atrocity story scripts that MI6 is such a master at.

In this case, the black takes the blade:

Maybe she just didn’t want to give it up, with him getting what he deserved. They’ll go after this golden goddess with all they have.

The number of blacks orchestrated into and forced upon us in TV ads and TV shows continues to grow. You get the sense of a deliberate, dedicated attempt to displace whites as the dominant population, an attempt to elevate and implant blacks into white consciousness as an equally productive and creative group contributing to the overall enhancement of society.

The border and the economy are near total disasters and woke policies continue to wreak havoc. These woke policies are confusing and distracting at the first responder level, with various organizations in place to advance those policies, like these for example.

    https://transequality.org/sites/default/files/docs/resources/FTPS_FR_v2.pdf

    https://www.iefpa.org/

We also have defunding and reimagining the police, and BLM of course, the sacrifice of law and order in the name of social justice. All of this is creeping upwards, into city, state, and federal offices across the nation. As another example, we have the federal government’s USAID supporting The Global Barometer for Transgender Rights and the LBGT Global Acceptance Index. We already know what’s happening with woke policies in the military.

    Here’s more:

‘Implementing enhanced screening technology. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will soon begin updating its Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) body scanners with new technology that will increase security and efficiency by reducing false alarm rates and pat-downs for the traveling public.

By replacing the current, gender-based system with this more accurate technology, TSA will improve the customer experience of transgender travelers who have previously been required to undergo additional screening due to alarms in sensitive areas. This new technology will help to improve the experience of travelers, particularly those who are transgender and non-binary travelers. TSA will begin deploying this new technology in airports throughout the country later this year.’

It goes on and on and on, with scant attention being paid to the hard working white male (HWWM, pronounced whim), the administration’s deplorable anachronism.

I don’t think this battle can be won with words. And where is the battlefield you might ask, on the plain of ideas or the plain of propaganda or both? Pen vs. Sword? No, not Left vs. Right but Left vs. Might is the answer.

What is also painfully ironic is that you will not find more viciously homophobic attitudes than those openly exhibited by blacks and latinos, at least in my experience (possibly out-of-date since I have not lived in the USA for some time).

It’s either religious justification “Kill a queer for Jesus / Allah”, including attitudes of many black clergy, or the “gay panic” defense, giving a free pass to those claiming involuntary action out of fear [delusion]. That one is wearing a bit thin with the courts, although it worked for decades.

So I started perusing current data from Reuters regarding Biden’s approval/disapproval percentages per demographic categories and I didn’t see anything pointing to that particular trend. In fact it appeared that the disapproval trends were fairly significant among all categories, unfortunately from President Biden’s perspective I would imagine. So I took that as a bit of poetic license and editorial discretion on the part of Mr. Carlson.

        Just found this:

        https://thefederalist.com/2022/04/12/while-everyone-else-is-kicking-themselves-for-voting-for-biden-college-educated-women-are-doubling-down/?

Women become more conservative after marriage and children. But far fewer people are getting married, and those that do, much later. Single women typically become insane, especially if they’ve been indoctrinated into the Cult in college.

        • SoftStarLight April 13, 2022 at 3:09 am #

Well I would imagine anyone could go insane being exposed consistently to cultish indoctrination. My impression is that most people generally are liberal to very liberal when they are either young or don’t have many responsibilities. And they become more conservative with experience and age. Maybe I’ve just heard that cliche’ too much lol. Though I would agree that men tend to be conservative moreso at an earlier age. But also I will always argue that the leftist/liberal perspective is the dominant culture and has been for a very long time in the American context. So I would therefore suggest that this perceived indoctrination is really a matter of socialization in many ways. So I would consider it not so much of going insane but rather reaching certain logical conclusions based on what is perceived to be socially and culturally acceptable in the current scheme of things of course.

          • Jarek April 13, 2022 at 12:20 pm #

Well certainly. But two caveats: Liberalism has itself changed. It was once sane – basically what conservatism is today, only better. Can you image our “conservatives” breaking up monopolies? The old liberals did just that but without being traitors or communists.

Socialization? Of course. The whole culture is insane. That many or most are going insane doesn’t make it sane though many would say that sanity is just being with the group. I disagree and I assume you do as well. Man has a nature, and culture must accord with that for people to be healthy and happy in a deep way.

It is in women’s nature to get married and have children. But since the culture enables them in their worst proclivities, men are walking away from marriage. This will drive many women to desperate unhappiness and even madness.

          • cbeard April 13, 2022 at 12:38 pm #

I remember a quote from somewhere that said if you didn’t have liberal leanings when young, you had no heart and if you weren’t more conservative when older, you had no brain.

          • SoftStarLight April 13, 2022 at 2:18 pm #

I think America First conservatives would like to break up monopolies so I suppose most of MAGA for instance is more akin to the old school liberalism. I do agree with you that today’s culture in the United States has become unhinged from the natural world and the recognition of human nature. I think that yes this has had a devastating effect on all parties. Much of today’s propaganda is focused on getting people to think that the current social experiments are good and sustainable and that there is something of a new normal in social behavior and culture. I agree with you that this is a flawed model that will fail because it doesn’t recognize human nature. But I don’t agree that it is just because of women’s behavior and choices that have caused men to walk away from marriage though I will say that obviously that is part of everything. Men have their own issues going on that have also played a role in the decline of marriage and the family.

          • Anthea April 14, 2022 at 4:12 am #

            @ Softstarlight:

Re your comment that, “Men have their own issues going on that have also played a role in the decline of marriage and the family”: Men have been avoiding the responsibilities of marriage and family since the advent of “the pill,” back in the 60s and the easy availability of abortion beginning in the early 70s. So basically, ever since free pussy has been available.

Generally speaking, men mainly want pussy. If they can get it without marriage and taking responsibility for providing for children, this is what they will do, almost to a man. (This male behavior is so well understood that it is Proverbial: “Why should be buy the cow when he can get the milk for free?”)

Obviously, in such a social climate, women must recognize that there a few or no career opportunities in marriage and motherhood, and that this is often an undesirable and insecure career choice–and is often uncompensated.

          • Anthea April 15, 2022 at 6:31 am #

            @Softstarlight:

If men tend to be more conservative, I suspect it’s because liberalism offers men no special advantages–except possibly more abundant sexual opportunities. But recreational sex was always available to men, one way or another, anyway, so advancing liberalism offered no great improvement for them. And I do have to agree that the charms of women have been much-diminished by liberalism.

On the other hand, liberalism offers, or seems to offer, considerable advantages to women, mainly in the way of economic independence and the removal of sexual restraints. Liberalism thus holds out a means for evading the Tammy Wynette problems of being “Born a Woman.”

Men are kind of like blacks. There are good, honest, decent ones, but the great majority are degraded creatures whom you would not want an association with, let alone an intimate association or committed personal relationship.

Maybe the solution to the problems of both blacks and men is religion, and missionary activity is in order. The thing is, I think this has been tried in the past, and I’m not sure it worked.

Are you proud of your people? Do you feel a part of them, like a cell is to the greater body? Or do you just see a nation as a collection of random individuals? If so, why would race matter? Or having Muslims join? Indeed why would nations even matter since it’s all just random aggregates. I tested Alba a while back: nuthin there. No national heartbeat at all. Many say that patriotism and nations are really just a masculine thing. Sad if true, but it very well may be, at least for the most part.

    • GreenAlba April 13, 2022 at 4:28 am #

Nice try, sunshine. I even came back to my country after being taken away from it age four. From the other bit of my other country. Pride doesn’t come into it, though, (a) because I didn’t do any of the things to be proud of (you don’t seem to have a problem standing on the shoulders of giants and thinking that makes you a giant), and (b) there are lots of things my country has done that I’d be thoroughly ashamed of, if that shame accrued to me personally, which, historically, it doesn’t. I share the shame of living well thanks to weapons manufacturers and that evil soup constantly simmering in the City of London.

Jarek takes the cafeteria approach to history.
A little bit of this, a lot of that.

He chooses to ignore that the leaders of these people, in these nations, often formed blood-bonds. Inter-marrying. Power consolidation.
Titles and rank and control over vast time and lands.

The bourgeoisie merchant class had their own version.
Contracts and outposts and trade statuses.

He always forgets the part where the leaders of his pride inducing people conspire against him.

He thinks he is in the club.
        Indeed he is.
But most importantly he forgets his role.

        • Jarek April 13, 2022 at 12:23 pm #

One must pick and choose the most important principles and the details or incidents that portray them clearly.

I don’t believe I’m part of the Elite. They must be overthrown by a new Elite, one that is both White and pro-White.

      • Jarek April 13, 2022 at 12:11 pm #

Reality check: You just agreed with me though perhaps your pissy attitude leads you to think that you did not. Everything comes down to the individual for you as I said. You don’t like to be thought lacking in anything, but if patriotism is foolish or otherwise negative, why be bothered that you lack it? And certainly why be ashamed of your nation if it has nothing to do with you at all? Countless liberals feel shame and not pride, are you of them? At least let that go with a rational non-belief or “agnosticism”. Atheism would be anti-patriotism leading to shame and/or anger and subversion.

The Chinese (the focus of our earlier discussion to which I referred) may not have a good nation by our standards but they most certainly have one – and it will trounce us. All their fingers close to make quite a fist whereas we can’t hardly use our fingers at all any more as a hand much less a fist.

Apart from mediated ideology and outrages like Ukraine or the Syrian boy, you are at the level of the village or clan. You would care deeply if someone you knew got raped by Muslims or bashed by Blacks, but you can’t be made to care unless and until that happens. The idea of Scotland or Britain being threatened by these people leaves you cold. Even the savaging of the girls of so many British cities, sadly enough. You don’t know any of them…..

Few were or are willing to talk about the Muslim grooming gangs preying on English girls. Robinson and the English Defense League were among those few. You not so much.

The gangs just happened to be Muslim right? If the weren’t doing it, White Englishmen would have. That’s the official line. No doubt it seems right to you, lol.

          • GreenAlba April 13, 2022 at 2:26 pm #

Don’t tell me what I think.

There is a particular issue with a cohort of Muslim men, who think white British girls are sluts and therefore fair game (although some Muslim girls have also been abused but mostly don’t dare to speak out).

White middle class pervs tend to do their dodgy business and rendezvous arranging online (chatrooms, social media and the dark web), as they aren’t so much into taxi driving and making kebabs.

          • Jarek April 13, 2022 at 11:49 pm #

Ha! Again you agree with me. You actually went ahead and equated Muslims with White Britons, implying that the danger from both groups is the same to the girls and women of Britain. Outrageous folly.

Every time I tell you what you think you end up confirming it, at least today.

          • GreenAlba April 14, 2022 at 5:40 am #

I made no equations. I said both dangers existed, which they do. If you want to quantify them, I’ll leave you to do the research. Online paedophilia/child abuse and online grooming seem to be beyond the capacities of the police to keep on top of (with apologies to the ‘don’t end a sentence with a preposition’ brigade).

Your obsession with getting people to capitulate to you is a weakness on which you should perhaps spend some time.

For what it’s worth, my wife is a social worker here in Germany and in about 90% of the cases involving abused women that she deals with, the abusers are middle-aged white German men abusing girls in their mid- to late teens.

I don’t really see the point of attempting to go for the race binary, unless that is what gets you off. People are people.

          • Jarek April 14, 2022 at 12:04 pm #

Night: Most modern people think like you and Alba, thus Europe will be Eurabia before the end of the century. People are people, right? Sure they are. Just remember that when the Laws of Omar are put in place and you have to step aside or get up for Muslims, being a dhimmi.

But yes, thank your lucky stars that you have Turks and not Pakis or North Africans.

          • Night Owl April 14, 2022 at 4:42 pm #

            Yes, Jarek. People are people.

Every group contains all of the nasty (or desirable) attributes you attribute to any particular group you might choose at any given time. That is nature for you. Balance.

I simply avoid the psychos and their hangers on. Whites aren’t going to protect me just because our skin is similar anymore than any other group will in the general sense. It is all based on circumstances and the mindset of the individual or individuals in question.

          • Night Owl April 15, 2022 at 8:09 am #

            One item to tack on:

Here is a prominent German being interviewed on a national TV show. She says Russians are not European and that they don’t value life, etc. She is othering them in support of globocap’s effort to push for war with Russia.

People just like this woman were busy a few months ago demanding that the “unvaxed” also be eliminated from society, claiming that we were selfish, dirty, etc.

Should I support her because she is white? Personally I would like to see her in prison.

    • SoftStarLight April 13, 2022 at 9:58 am #

Well, for example, in a transcontinental nation state that consists of more than 300 million people from every single nation on Earth it would seem that there is no particular people, but more like many peoples, with which one may associate themselves. And each faction has its own subculture. It is difficult to feel like there is even one body with which one could be a cell. At this particular point it may be more clarifying to ask if one is proud of and loyal to their tribe?

      • Jarek April 13, 2022 at 1:49 pm #

Yes it is more clarifying and yes we should be. Our Heritage is second to none. Race comes before tribe or nation. The latter two are meaningless without it.

    • Anthea April 15, 2022 at 6:46 am #

      @ Jarek:

I don’t see how ones pride in “ones people” can extend much beyond family members, or sometimes very intimate friends. I don’t know those other people, or if I do know them, they most often inspire no particular feelings in me. There are a few whom I respect; for most of the rest I feel mostly indifference. There are quite a number whom I feel should be disregarded altogether, due to stupidity or mental illness.

I’m not sure where this wellspring of patriotic feelings is located. I’m even less sure of its purpose.

I do agree that whites have a culture that towers above every other culture in the world, intellectually, morally, and artistically. But are white people in general representatives and partakers of this culture? I’m sure not seeing it.

Easy. The corrupt vermin in DoC and CoL don’t wish him to exist anymore. It’s existential all right. It’s either him or them, and my money’s on him.

On a lighter note, I’ve heard atomic sunsets can be very beautiful, provided they’re viewed from a proper distance. And the sun tans!?! Can’t be beat, at least until the skin eventually peels off. But you can’t have everything, right?

    • Jarek April 13, 2022 at 12:45 pm #

It makes sense. Now he’ll have to invade Finland and if the last time is any judge, they’ll fight like motherfuckers. Then Ukraine will start to act up again, etc. They’re going to bleed him out with a thousand cuts, while promoting internal dissent.

      • BackRowHeckler April 13, 2022 at 1:10 pm #

But who will control the nukes? I can picture little fiefdoms being carved out all over Russia, each one headed up by a Warlord with his own personal militia — and a battery of nukes. With 6000 total nuclear warheads there’s plenty to go around.

        • R banjo April 13, 2022 at 2:48 pm #

Are nukes real? Kinda like the COVID 19 bug?
Climate change?, how about the population thingy?
Is any of this really “real”?
I don’t believe any of it.
          It’s always room temperature.
The earth is flat where I am.
          Shit like that..
If one can’t see it , does it exist?
Seems to me, fear is the game.
Born of a virgin? Rose from the dead?
Lots of stuff to make one not trust their own senses.
Hobbes figured it out in 1640.

          • BackRowHeckler April 13, 2022 at 3:29 pm #

That’s a good question, Banjo. I’m not sure where the 5800 nukes total comes from, and how many Russian nukes are actually operational. They’ve been making them since 1949; do they degrade or deteriorate? How much maintenance does a nuclear weapon need to remain viable? (I’m sure there are CFNers who can answer those questions) The thing is, Russia has to employ only a few well placed nukes to cause much havoc.

            The point that BRH makes.

The wailing, rending of garments and gnashing of teeth – not to mention squirting out trillions to the war toy makers – over the loss of two no make that three nondescript office towers in downtown Manhattan was quite something to see.

Anybody remember how in 1969 New Yorkers were dissing those obnoxious structures as “aluminum siding”? Residents hated the way the towers blocked out early morning sunlight during winter, for thousands.

Now just scale this historical melodrama up to the radiant liquification of two, maybe three, nondescript urban centers. Let’s say Houston, San Diego and maybe Baltimore, for a nice spread.

There would be such confusion, terror, communications breakdown and loss of faith in comfortable everyday routines that everything would pretty much come to a catatonic halt.

No, I’ll go you one better. Not even an airborne nuclear detonation. One “dirty bomb” on Wall Street would do the job. That is how fragile the actual situation is.

Remember Auric Goldfinger with his refrigerator-sized device in Fort Knox (Goldfinger, 1962)? That was quite a prank he would have pulled off.

        • Disaffected April 13, 2022 at 4:06 pm #

Better to ask that question of the US. That’s where the issues will be. China and Russia will eventually have to handle that problem, one way or another.

      • Disaffected April 13, 2022 at 4:05 pm #

Not necessarily. If he doesn’t want to hold it, reducing the military installations to ash will probably do. A buffer can take many forms. But ultimately, this is a US-Russian showdown, make no doubt about it. And taking down the dollar, and thus the US ability to make war, is probably job one now. The NATO poodles will dance with whomever calls the tune.

        @ Jarek:

I don’t think it’s selfishness so much as that they come from a social background in which dishonesty is taken for granted; everyone does it.

In my youth, I felt much the same way. It seemed to me that dishonesty was pretty much the way of the world. So if I wanted to do something dishonest, it just seemed like the ordinary and accepted way to go about things. Obviously, everybody accepted it.

The waiting IS the hardest part,
“Honey, no one could have ever told me bout this”.

Driving with a new guy at my lawncare job, I made a crack about Biden to test the waters, and he responded amicably enough.  So we both went a little further with each other; turns out we’re both current “conspiracy’ obsessives!

Like me, he talked about growing up liberal but having the definition change to…where were we?

I never thought I’d appreciate Tucker Carlson, here we are i guess.

Funny how he mentioned the latest snake venom theory video, and after only a year deep dive in the r/conspiracy world, I felt this smug reaction. like ok dude, slow your roll.  But at this point of course, i’ll believe in alien reptiles ruling us.

However, it seems the nature of ‘conspiracy theory’, aka “deep state hijinks’ is to treat it like exercise, and maintain good form.  Know that you still have to question everything and remain skeptical despite the sway of emotions.  The line from Apocalypse Now, Shit piled up so fast you needed wings to stay above…

So I watched some of the video, i don’t know.  Pretty fucking compelling though like everything now in this surreal-ity

    • SoftStarLight April 13, 2022 at 2:41 pm #

Well I hate to continue to push you along to be in complete “conspiracy theory” territory but I must say that we are indeed ruled over by alien reptilians. So before going to the literal lets stay metaphorical. So essentially foreigners control the United States. If you have trouble believing that then just ask yourself what the regime does for native born citizens? For instance, they want you to be willing to be fried in a nuclear apocalypse over the territorial integrity of a nation 5000 miles away. Do you believe that they would do the same for the borders of the United States? LOL ok

Now that we have established that consider how bloodthirsty the regime is. All they ever do is traffic in conflict and destruction no? This is due to the reptilian nature of their thinking and being. Of course humans have conflict. Humans however are social mammals. What does regime due to further the goals of social cooperation? LOL ok

      • Kornado April 13, 2022 at 2:46 pm #

David McCollum’s quote on the podcast resonated with me when he said ‘I smell corpses’. I have no issue with anything you said. I see chaos around me, building…I wear dread like a cape. I can only smoke so much weed and drink jim beam to stay sane.

        • SoftStarLight April 14, 2022 at 2:22 am #

Well sometimes staying sane is overrated lol. People who aren’t wearing dread capes seem insane in today’s world. But if you tell people you wear a dread cape they will think you are insane.

      • cowbell81 April 13, 2022 at 1:28 pm #

Well, that was 44 minutes of my life wasted listening to his mindless rambling. I can tell he doesn’t want to take personal accountability for anything and blames Putin and the White man for a lot of his problems. Sounds like a classic Biden voter, blaming Putin and other people for everything. Wonder why they haven’t caught him yet and wonder where he is hiding out. This all seems like some kind of false flag initiative.

        • thwack April 13, 2022 at 1:47 pm #

I call it “narcissistic nihilism”; when people get so caught up in their own perceived oppression they can no longer take a clinical, objective approach to solving their problems.

For example, Rashida Strober was the first to take on the topic of “colorism”; but now all she talks about is her anger for not getting credit for the popularity of the concept:

          Patterns

While the 3-letter agency was busy ginning up the Whitmer kidnap caper, it comes out they had this person on their radar for at least a year if not more.

Like the guy doing the same at the school in Florida

or the guy doing the same at the nightclub down there

          or…. or… or… it’s a long list, not mentioning 01/06.

The same agency which had Jimmy (don’t call me Whitey) Bulger on their payroll while he had them on his.
