The Authorities Are Our Enemies

The people who run things in this country don’t deserve your respect or allegiance. They are at war with you. They want you and your children dead.

Welcome to the New Age, where authority has no authority and does not deserve to act with any authority, but will act as if it does, anyway, and then lie to you about it. Nowhere is this quandary more vivid than in the racketeering operation formerly known as medicine.

As if there has not already been enough official fuckery over the lab-birthed Covid-19 virus, the CDC’s Vaccine Advisory Committee voted on Thursday to add Pfizer’s and Moderna’s mRNA shots to its childhood vaccine schedule. The vote was 15 to 0 — a final supreme gesture of contempt for the people of this land.

Had none of the committee members seen reports of mRNA-vaccinated children dropping dead from myocarditis induced by the vaccines? Or read about the effect of the vaxxes on the reproductive organs? Or the enhanced incidence of cancer? Or heard about the damage that the shots instigate in human immune systems? If not, that would be astounding. The news is all over the place (if not in the mainstream news media). Was any of this discussed in their deliberations? I don’t think so, but we may never know.

Adding the mRNA shots to the official vaccine schedule will make permanent the liability shield their makers enjoy under the current emergency use authorization (EUA). Pfizer and Moderna are now off-the-hook for any responsibility, unless fraud over the vaxxes is proven in a court of law. Given the vast evidence of harms done by these products, will that be a difficult thing to do? Consider: cases for fraud can be brought in any jurisdiction of the USA, not just in the notoriously corrupt DC federal district court, which does not recognize crime for what it is (crime).

This is the first time that a pharmaceutical under an EUA has been admitted to the childhood vaccine schedule. The Vaccine Advisory Committee said it was okay because it consulted with the Department of Justice’s Office of General Counsel, and the lawyers there said it was okay. One might ask: is it within the purview of the DOJ’s Office of General Counsel to review the medical criteria for such a decision? The answer must be no. How are they qualified? You may be certain they did not parse the drug trial data on the mRNA products, or study the official reports of deaths and injuries. In short, they know nothing. Their authority in the matter is vacated.

Since many states and localities go by the CDC’s vaccine guidelines, as well as pediatricians, then millions of children will be required to get the shots to attend school. So, the CDC has not only put an as-yet-untold number of kids on the road to disability, infertility, and death, but it may have coincidentally destroyed public schooling in America.

The so-called “uptake” on mRNA shots for children has been paltry. Parents do not want their kids to get the shots. Do you know why? I’ll tell you: Because, unlike the experts who sit on the CDC’s Vaccine Advisory Committee, many parents have actually read about the serious adverse reactions in young people who get the shots. And many more have heard enough horrifying rumors — despite the criminal delinquency of the major news media in ignoring any negative news about the vaxxes — prompting these parents to steer clear of vaxxing their children. Other countries have officially and altogether discontinued mRNA vaxxes for children. Do you think that’s for no reason?

If the schools require mRNA shots, then many parents will not send their kids to these schools. Parents have plenty of other reasons to want to withdraw their kids from public schools, not least the pervasive race-and-gender hustle that is replacing actual pedagogy in this country. The schools are now hostage to Marxist lunatics, launched from colleges and universities that are likewise captured by Marxist lunatics. They seek to overturn Western Civilization and its long train of accomplishments in discovering how the world works. They seek to replace all that with a set of wishful fairy tales that don’t comport with reality. Why would any sane parent subject their child to such a wicked regime? Might this not provoke a rebellion against paying the exorbitant school taxes all across America?

Beneath all of this lies the subterranean flow of enormous sums of money to the Pharma companies that virtually own the US public health bureaucracy. Anthony Fauci’s minions, dispersed among the various agencies under the US Department of Health and Human Services, plus those in the ancillary CDC, have been pulling hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in royalties from patents associated with the mRNA products. And they’ve continued to haul in that schwag during the three-year fracas over the bad faith origins of Covid 19 and the deceitful introduction of these so-called “vaccines” — which do not stop the transmission of the disease and present manifold dangers to those who take them.

Everything the authorities tell you about all this is a lie. They are turning desperate because the time is at hand when they will actually have to answer for their crimes against the people of this country. They don’t deserve your respect and they surely can’t command your compliance.

Par4, Don’t leave us hanging. Why do you disagree with labeling them Marxist?

      • Walter B October 21, 2022 at 11:58 am #

Because they are Satanic. At least Marx was well intentioned. Satan has been hell bent (literally) on destroying all of God’s creation and has gathered enough human sellouts and armed them with enough technologies to make the final assault on creation itself.

For those whose chose not to believe in God or Satan you can simply refer to the forces of Good and Evil at war with the Showdown at the OK Corral underway. It is going to get real, real soon.

        • Bilejones October 21, 2022 at 12:20 pm #

“At least Marx was well intentioned.”

What evidence do you have of that?

Perhaps I should have said that a lot of his ideas had at least some merit, though his system, or I should say the systems that were based, supposedly on his ideas, were all totally bullshit and failed before they even were implemented.

Although so many Americans despise their own system, the nation put together by our founding fathers was clearly the best attempt at government yet. Even if it has decayed into mindless chaos.

          Walter B,

I can only applaud you for your clarity of mind! THAT is exactly what it is – Good v Evil. And guess who is on the side of Good? And who is on the side of Evil? I will give you people a little clue. You will not find this in your MSM, that’s for sure:

Russian Federation Immigratioin Services are INUNDATED with the applications from people of Western Civ (as Jim calls it) wanting to emigrate to Russia. Including lots of applications from USA. Living in Russia they feel that they can have a NORMAL life in a NORMAL living environment. Not being parent 1 or parent 2, but Mum and Dad, and where their children can have a PROPER childhood, without being subjected to creepy gender selections or kill shots disguised as “vaccination”!
I am sure this is a NEWS to lots of you, brainwashed victims of MSM and poor education, but this is a FACT! You can check it out if you want. And lots already settled there. Some of them even do posts about their new life in Russia on Youtube. Easy to find. It will be an eye-opener for most of you.

          • radgard October 21, 2022 at 8:44 pm #

I would not recommend going to Russia.

            Crappy weather and crappier leaders.

Except for ALL Democrats and godless in general, please go to Russia. I heard it is PARADISE ON EARTH!

          • Woodchuck October 21, 2022 at 9:10 pm #

For Westerners, Russian is a difficult language to master. To pronounce some the sounds, you must learn to do things with your mouth and tongue that won’t be familiar. You’ll have to figure out ways to pronounce certain consonants jammed together, like the sound of a “k” and “t” together. An entirely new alphabet must be learned as well. Good fun for language enthusiasts, but hard work for everyone else.

        • EdD October 21, 2022 at 7:50 pm #

Walt, I think that Karl Marx was a satanist. Marxism is satanic by its very nature, and so are all marxists, everywhere. You and I agree in general, I think.

Learning language is a requirement, obviously, but lots of Russians actually speak very good English, believe it or not. : )

        • spaingaroo October 22, 2022 at 9:22 am #

you must be kidding? Tell me you are kidding.
          Marx, literally worshipped Satan.
He explicitly rejected god, although he was the son of a Rabbi, and threw his lot in with the prince of darkness.
read “Marx and Satan” by Richard Wurmbrand.
I can’t get over the number of people who somehow think Marx was a good guy.
Just look at his life, or try reading his works.
He left his domestic help pregnant and threw her on to the street.
He spent more money every month than most people spent in a year, on his vices, all supplied by his ‘collaborator’ Engles.
Just start reading Das Capital and you will see, his whole theory was based on lies, like the seminal works of Feminism.
They don’t stand up to scrutiny, as they are not based on reality, but on ideology.

          • Soul Forensics October 23, 2022 at 6:24 pm #

Yes, I get a kick out of the idea that Marx was “well-intentioned”. He came from wealth. He certainly wasn’t motivated to start a small-ops farm (in which, ironically, he would’ve been the first to be murdered in the 1930s).

        • ThorsHammer October 24, 2022 at 9:40 am #

Debating whether a particular sect or individual you do not like is “Marxist” or “Socialist” or “Capitalist” is about as worthless as arguing about how many Angels can dance on the head of a pin. Terms like that are so readily bastardized by the overwhelming force of Thought Control that they no longer have any meaning.

I may not have any belief in Walter’s fantasy God, but his labeling Our Leaders as Satanic hits the mark. How else are we to understand a humanoid so degraded that they attack their own children? Force experimental genetic modification upon a class of society who have no capacity to resist and are immune to the virus represented by the Pandemic of Fear? (The CFR rate for COVID in minor children is so miniscule (recently calculated as +- .0003 percent) that it is completely off the charts. Or retard the ability of infants and children to learn basic language and social skills that define them as human by hiding their teachers, parents, and playmates behind masks that disguise their emotional expression?

What I call the Mengele Clause of the Nuremberg Accords prohibits experimentation upon human subjects without their full and informed consent. By definition minor children cannot give such informed consent. Therefore hundreds of thousands of doctors, hospital administrators, Pharma executives and politicians and their propaganda mouthpieces are guilty of gross violation of the Nuremberg Accords as well as violation of their Oath of Medical Practice.

The Nuremberg Accords call for the death penalty in such egregious cases. It is long past time for the trials and executions to begin.

That is what “they” are content to have you label them as it is not what they are. They are technocrats, ideologically agnostic but determined to rule by technology. Patrick Wood is an excellent source on the very real threat of Technocracy.

    • Paula D October 21, 2022 at 11:40 am #

Right. A Marxist would recognize this as the corporate takeover of the State that it clearly is.

It is more accurately called fascism.

      • Jarek October 21, 2022 at 12:45 pm #

A Marxist like you? Corporate takeover of the State is Fascism? Wrong. In Fascism, the State rules over and guides (not takes over or destroys) the Corporations. What we have is the opposite, namely Plutocracy. You almost had it, seeing the union of the two spheres. But you got the dominant party wrong.

Given that the Revolution was funded by the Bankers, it’s hard to believe that this was an accident.

        • Paula D October 21, 2022 at 1:30 pm #

Well, there was no such as fascism when Marx was analyzing capitalism.

          I’ll take your point.

The States were not as strong back then either. Sure, there was corruption, but the ability to take over people’s entire lives? Direct their medical care? Propagandize their children?
          Not so much.

          • Jarek October 21, 2022 at 3:00 pm #

Fascism and National Socialism arose to meet the Capitalist/Communist threat to the nations and the individuals and peoples that comprise them. In Mein Kampf, Hitler raged against the Capitalists who hated the Socialist Unions, but would never enact any reforms to ameliorate the conditions that made the unions so popular.

He refused to join any Unions himself, since they demanded disloyalty to Germany. Perhaps already infiltrated by Communism? In any case, he saw through the whole game. And National Socialism was designed to have the best of both, and simultaneously attempted to have the best of both traditional life and modern industrialism. There was no turning back the clock, but the machine was for man and not vice versa. Ditto money and the money men. They were to serve the nation and not the other way around.

          • Paula D October 21, 2022 at 4:02 pm #

What about the German State supplying slave laborers to the corporations?

How was that good for the Germans? How is that controlling the corporations?

          • Jarek October 21, 2022 at 10:58 pm #

The United States controls the corporations during wartime too. See our historical frescoes, glyphs and murals – replete with Fascist symbolism. Capitalism has slowly corrupted us away from this with the Bankers now deciding our foreign policy and when we go to war. They or their lackeys largely control the corporations now – not our elected officials per se.

          • Paula D October 22, 2022 at 11:19 am #

            That didn’t answer my question.

          • Jarek October 22, 2022 at 12:10 pm #

What I said about National Socialism makes too much sense. So rather than admit as much, you are trying to take the conversation back to the tried (tired) and true (false) conversation anent Nazis and what not.

As if Communist Russia didn’t have work/death camps. And as if any nation is established without brutality visited upon those who don’t fit in – such as the indigenous, stone inhabitants of the Americas.

          • messianicdruid October 22, 2022 at 12:35 pm #

            So your answer is:
            It never happened.

            Everybody does it.

            It was necessary.

            OK, then, got it.

          • Jarek October 22, 2022 at 11:14 pm #

So I was right. Rather than talk about National Socialism in general as a System, you immediately went to one example of it. Isolate and vilify as Alinsky said.

It didn’t happen? You mean the Russian gulags? The murder of 20 million people? The mass rape of German women by the Russian army?

            Oh yes “it” did.

    • Billy Hill October 21, 2022 at 12:10 pm #

Marxism in the sense used is applied ideology, akin to religion, replete with eschatological assumptions (triumph of the proletariat and withering away of the State). Ironically in the 20th century the USSR abandoned applied ideology only to have passed the baton to the USA under the direction of the Neocons (Project for the New American Century, et. al.).

As is typical with evangelical religions every aspect of all human life is viewed through a prism and judged in accordance with the tenets of the Faith. Resistance, no matter how logical and reality-based, is futile.

Great essay, Jim. Unfortunately, this decision also affects kids in parochial and private schools, not just public schools.

Speaking of non-compliance, CBS Radio this morning said prosecutors hope to imprison Steve Bannon for not complying with demands to testify to congressional Democrats on the January 6 committee. Fifth Amendment? What’s that? Bannon has a duty to incriminate himself and anyone remotely associated with Trump in order to send them all to the joint forever.
However, if we were to flip the political identities of both the House members and Bannon, the media would be screaming bloody murder about denying someone’s constitutional rights. No, there’s no hypocrisy in America.

I’ll add that most colleges require you’ve met the CDC-recommended vaccine schedule as well.

Don’t get me started on the HPV scam.

JHK outlined one solution: put school taxes on the ballot – if you don’t want to send your kids to vaccine-mandated indoctrination centers, then you don’t have to pay your local public school tax, which is typically the highest non-property tax we pay.

Another solution: Put all medical & life insurance companies on blast with peer reviewed studies and expose’s showing that Pfizer, CDC, FDA have known about the harms, and that they knowingly still put a lethal and damaging drug into the marketplace, costing the insurance companies billions in coverage costs. Insurance companies have the money to pay for lawyers, and maybe if we’re lucky, they can sue the govt. as well. Might as well turn two evils against each other.

      • Beryl of Oyl October 21, 2022 at 10:34 am #

People with no children have to pay school taxes. The entitlement is to the individual.

      • Disaffected October 21, 2022 at 11:02 am #

You’re assuming that Insurance companies exist separately from big pharma, the CDC, and the FDA. They’re all in it together ownership-wise, so compensatory cash flows are part of the bargain. Think of them as separate divisions of the same corporate conglomerate. When any one of them wins they all win.

        • messianicdruid October 21, 2022 at 11:30 am #

Speaking of bugs. Aldi in the UK will start offering boxes of dead crickets and other bugs to customers who can’t afford meat.

Der Schwabenfuhrer is delighted to see his plan coming to fruition.

And we the unwashed useless eaters were angry when Marie Antoinette said : let them eat cake. I find “let them eat crickets” even more insulting.

Maybe someone should let the woke corporate globalists at Aldi know we don’t appreciate their social engineering agenda.

As the Klausaschwabians are in control of the media, courts and Deep State of this country, I see no way that the criminals will be brought to Justice.

This blog uses logic and reason for the most part to discuss the issues of the day. The Left uses BS, the same BS expressed by Redneck Liberal, to forward their agenda. When you are in a population that does not understand the difference, the emotional baloney can hold sway.

That is why, in spite of November, this country is going to continue going down.

The worst enemy? Russia, nah, China, nah, WEF, nah, the DNC, warmer.

A collective glance in the mirror by the American people is in order. Hitler convinced a percentage of the German people with Goebbel’s propaganda. The DNC has accomplished the same thing right here, over 50%. Hitler used German Pride to accomplish his aims, the DNC uses the very obvious stupidity and reverse bias of the people here to turn heads to the Left.

So far, it is working and the autocratic takeover is right on track.

            @ hmuller:

Interesting that back in the days of “Jesus Christ, Superstar,” they had already invented the concept of “our truth.” From what I hear, “our truth” is put to much use by blacks these days, because they feel the need to assert a lot of stuff that is not objectively true to excuse their inability to function.

          • hmuller October 22, 2022 at 1:10 pm #

I once heard Whoopi defending Mike Vick’s dog fighting hobby as part of black culture. A view which I hope was not shared by many in the community. That may be an example of what you’re talking about. “Our truth” indeed.

There are too many sheeple following the Pied Piper of the DNC Communists. The country, in its current configuration, is beyond redemption.

However, there are areas of the country than CAN be saved, such as much of the Rocky Mountain West and, of course, the Confederate States (now in their 157th year of unlawful occupation by the Yankee government.)

You know, this creeping rot has been going on for decades. If you haven’t suffered some consequences from not keeping your mouth shut, for attempting to do the right thing, for being honest and stating facts–until now–you weren’t paying attention. We should all have fought at least a few battles over the past decades over this general and pervasive condition of social and moral rot.

I can think of at least one instance where I was passed over for a job because, during the interview, the interviewer was probing to find out my willingness to go along with the agenda du jour–and my commitment was less than incandescent. (I didn’t even realize at the time that the interviewer was primarily interested interested in my ideology. I figured this out later.)

There were many such cases, often very minor. Maybe it was just that it never occurred to me that I was expected to lie about certain things, and thus got on someone’s bad side in the workplace.

It’s not just the covid scam or the vaccine scam. The rot runs very deep.

I’ve been stuck in a blue NY metro through this whole mess so my outlook isn’t the best.

I am currently at work, surrounded by goodfolk with their little green compliance injection cattle tags.

          • Islander October 21, 2022 at 11:46 am #

What are “little green compliance tabs”??

I am in Mass., so, drowning in blue.

They are really tyring to get people here to vote by mail. I just got a second mailing on this. One of the messages—the only part printed in red display type:

“If you have already applied for a November ballot, you DO NOT need to reapply.” (original caps)

IMO the subtext here is “But you can try it.”

If they were serious about election integrity they would warn:

“If you have already applied for a November ballot, you MUST NOT apply again.”

Another little gem from higher on the mailer:

“”Apply soon! . . . In-person voting will still be available for anyone who has not already returned a ballot.”

So, in-person voting is now treated as Plan B, an option that you can still use— not the standard way to vote, and really the only way to ensure the integrity of the vote (assuming properly counted).

So this whole push to sideline the idea of voting in person and proving that you have a right to cast a vote is subtly and not so subltly being devalidated in the name of making voting “secure, easy, and convenient.” It used to be that to cast an absentee ballot you had to go to town hall, or a consulate if abroad, to show your ID and have the receipt of your ballet properly recorded. It would then be sent to authorities in the home jurisdiction under special transport conditions.

This whole vote-by-mail plan is so rife with opportunities to cheat, I don’t know where to start.

For starters, you can ask to have your ballot sent to you at an address different from the one in the district and home address where you are registered to vote. How many ballots end up being sent to some dummy address somewhere? Or, simply get lost.

Last election, no one checked at the polling place whether I had already voted with a ballot sent to me. Is anyone going to sit down and check each checkmark on the voter roills at the polling place against the mail-in ballots? Especially since one the ballot envelopes are opened there is no way to track whose vote is whose . . .

This whole mail-in thing is a farce. The winners will be those who figure out how to scam the situation best. Just the rest of our “government.’

“The people who run things in this country don’t deserve your respect or allegiance. They are at war with you. They want you and your children dead.”

The dumbing down of Americans and indeed the planet was supposed to forestall these realizations until it is too late to change course.

Now that the truth is being understood thanks to columns like this, the question is: Is it too late to change course?

How many leaders are required for a population?

A college education used to be training for future leaders and entrepreneurs in society.

No longer. If twenty percent of college grads are required to man the board rooms, what happens when fifty percent get college? What happens to the 30 percent that fail in the economy and drop out.

They become serfs, like the rest of society, fighting all the way. The board rooms become saturated with environmental ninnies, young people that do not have a clue.

Would you like to have an intern, all school and no practice, operate on you? Of course not.

That is exactly what is happening in our government and economy. Gen Z will finish off what is left of mercantile America.

College allows a step up in the economy for people that can handle it. Most do not. That is why social majors were invented, started out in mid century to get the athletes through their classes.

The military fulfills the same function, as well as trade schools. College, due to its Leftist bias, is the worst of the three as it does not instill discipline in its agenda, quite the contrary. Right now, it is succeeding in producing a bunch of snot nosed children who do not have a clue about the real world and what they are talking about.

A primary cause of the decline of this country and the takeover by the Elite.

You live in my most favorite place in the world.

However, as California has always been a bellwether leader of the economy, so it is the vanguard of the failure of same said economy.

Newsome should replace Tom Cruise with Mission Impossible.

      • Not_GeorgeT October 21, 2022 at 7:12 pm #

There is a lot to be said for trade schools. Come out with a skill. Maybe one decides the trade learned wasn’t quite what they wanted, however they still have the knowledge. Change trades, learn a new one, which makes two trades and a fall-back position is created.

College education in some ways represents degree creep. Possibly related to the size of the Boomer generation, there was so much competition the degree gave a competitive edge on paper. The question remains: to what real benefit?

One of my now adult children worked in kitchens for a time. He commented the other employees like him were all paying off student loans while working in the restaurant. The pay was the same, the degrees they had meant nothing (thus they found work in restaurants). He eventually enrolled in a trade school and increased his marketability without staggering tuition payments.

‘started out in mid century to get the athletes through their classes.’ in essence a farm system for organizations like the NFL.

I’m not quite so sure of the entrepreneur part. Maybe some, but many who start and grow a business have good common sense and can meet deadlines with quality work product.

So, how many leaders? Likely not too many, as the society becomes top-heavy with more ‘leaders’ and goes into decline. It is a recurring theme in Joseph Tainter’s work on civilizations.

        • Paula D October 21, 2022 at 8:12 pm #

I just googled it. I am a boomer and didn’t know many people who went to college.

”According to the Pew Research Center, 57% of adults aged 18 to 34 years old currently have a college degree or higher, which is significantly higher than the percentage of Boomers that went to college (approximately 32%). ”

          • Not_GeorgeT October 23, 2022 at 1:17 am #

It’s one site, not questioning your #’s. They are interesting.

I would like to have a little info regarding what is behind the #’s. Also, the age group 18-34 seems to fit with a part of the boomer children, which might be something in the mix. I didn’t push my children to go to college, did suggest it, but not for any useless degree. All ended up in some sort of trade, with college courses mixed in but no degrees with none likely.

It seems, with all the issues surrounding massive student loans, a lot of Millennial-age people went to college and now have a lot of bills but not much else to show for it. The colleges and universities along with their employees seem to have been the ones who have benefited.

Degree has many possibilities, such as 2 year, 4 year, graduate, CAGS, doctorate.

There is also the number of people entering occupations which require a degree, another variable. As one example, nursing was filled with diploma school nurses through the ’50s, ’60s into the ’70s. Those years capture a lot of Boomers. BSN looks like an example of degree creep. Does having the extra 2 years of essentially non-nursing courses make for a better nurse? Or, does a diploma school nurse, who starts with patient care and responsibility from just about day one have a patient care experience advantage?

Most nursing job postings I’ve seen are specific regarding need for BSN. Are they better nurses or is the degree the deal-maker?

Is the degree an entrance ticket to management?

This could probably go on endlessly as a discussion.

It seemed to me back when these were choices, either one went to college or went to Vn, then the lottery starting in ’69. It opened choices for those with high numbers which did not require ‘either/or’. But it only deals with draft-age men during those years, women were not drafted.

Did they (women) go to college in greater numbers? It doesn’t appear they were inclined to stay at home. I don’t know, it’s another part of the discussion.

I had one of those high lottery numbers, went to college, eventually grad school and also certificate programs which had similarity to trade school.

I could apply the same inquiry to fire science degrees. Do they make for a better firefighter? Is the training in the fire academy sufficient (it is a nationally accepted certification) or should it be turned into a degree program? Are fire science degrees more a pathway to management positions in at least some departments, and an income booster in others?

Perhaps you have a different perspective. You usually present reasonable and reasoned comments. Interesting you picked up on this while others who might have seemed to pass on it.

In my opinion, boomers didn’t go to college as much because you could make a living without it back then.

And I agree totally about the nursing degrees. I went to community college and got my ADN. I knew very few BSN nurses throughout my career, until Obamacare, which started the push to get nurses into 4 year colleges and deep debt, as a requirement of employment.
You are right, it has nothing to do with producing better nurses Obama and the banks conspired.

In the 80s, as the boomers matured, there was a major attack on the working class. The first thing Reagan did was fire the air traffic controllers to destroy their union.
Then there was the Hormel strike which ruined the Meat Packer’s union. Now they import cheap foreign labor and tell us that ”Americans won’t do that job”.
No, Americans DID do all those jobs.

So after the 80s the only people who still had decent wages were those who had gone to college. That is when the college push started. That is why so many Millennials went to college, imo. It was their only chance at a decent life.

And then the colleges raised tuition and funneled the dupes to the banks, who put them into lifelong debt slavery.
And then it started being obvious that a college degree wasn’t a ticket to a decent life, so then they started in on “Oh, it’s your fault. You picked the wrong degree. ‘Liberal Arts, sneer.’ ‘History, sneer’ If you don’t get a STEM degree you are a loser who deserves to flip burgers”.

And now there are a bunch of unemployed STEM degreed young Americans while Silicon Valley is full of H1B visa’d workers

It’s all a giant scam, imo.

Correct. In my little rural community everyone is sane and normal, for the most part, but sadly we have a university campus downtown and it is like a nest of Brown Recluse spiders – spewing forth venomous assholes to annoy the rest of us.

When the balloon finally goes up and CW2 lights-up in a kinetic fashion, it is fully my expectation that all such nests of poisonous Marxism will be put to the torch by local populations that are beyond fed-up with these psychopaths who live for no other purpose than to destroy the lives and happiness of others.

They will reap what they have sown and they can all go rot in Hell as far as I am concerned.

Forced clot-shot of your child? (I have no children)

I wonder about the real intent behind this too. Though it’s not on the news, the group the hardest to convince to get the shots were African-Americans. If, in big cities like LA and Chicago, they’re required, one of two things will happen — the kids will get the shots or the parents won’t take them to school. Chicago schools were closed for two full years and other blue cities were about the same. A nice, permanent underclass instead of kids who have a chance.

So what does the PTB want?

Docile citizens! Dumb citizens that will not understand issues and just go along.

Biden is proof positive of this as he spins his BS webs. Just say anything, any lie, any fabrication and the dumb shit public will sign up.

      Now with education.

If the parents of America are getting dumber every generation, how can home schooling help? When does the typical Joe Everyman household lose the ability to teach their kids, fourth grade, eighth grade? I contend that home schooling is a PTB weapon make education mediocre and incomplete.

Public school integrity died with the creation of the Department of Education. Federal control of anything is the enemy of Joe Everyman. A good motto today is

Public Education is indoctrination by the PTB. Caring parents and reinstitution of the PTA would control the PTB vise grip it enjoys on making the public mundane, so the PTB, the Left, makes it their business to knock down parental control of education.

Charter schools, a device by the Right to fix the problem of quality education. As usual, get the money changers involved, and corruption ensues trying to make money from money. Just read an article talking about the financing of Charter, privately owned schools. Except they are not as financing corporations are using the schools as cash cows and then discarding them when the pay out their worth. Public administrations use bond sales to buy out the school sales when the “education corporations” sell out.

So, the taxpayers and tuitions finance the mortgages and costs, both provided by the corporations then when the cash cow advantage declines, the corporations sell the schools to local administrations. Guess where that money comes from to buy the schools. A big part are muni bonds sold by civil organizations. That will be paid of by the taxpayers.

Ever see Ozark? I wonder how many of these Education Corporations are washing money in their cash cows?

Any way, only one thing is going to change the education of our youth. Parents! Who care!

      • Beryl of Oyl October 21, 2022 at 10:45 am #

Yes Charter schools were a means to get their hands on some of that free government money.

We didn’t have a perfect system of public education in this country, just the best in the world.

TPTB would like nothing better to see that system run to the ground.

Now the corporations have a perfect excuse not to hire Americans.

Contrary to what the MSM tild us, Americans were so taking the “STEM” courses that industry required. The goal was always to flood the country with immigrants, so it did not matter how much better Americans were.

        • niner October 21, 2022 at 11:39 am #

Yes, the best features of the American system of public education, was to teach math rigorously, and then the other falsifiable disciplines, but most of all to encourage imagination and creativity, new ideas.

That was our secret, made us innovators, inventors, entrepreneurs, bar none.

We never thought we had all the answers, but that we would find them.

To induce us to tear it down and throw it away ourselves.

Most people don’t actually care about trannies that much, they are just a means to and end, and it’s working.

Some real and good charter schools were set up – test schools for the more gifted. They then would be destroyed by Black parents bringing suit because there were so few Blacks students at a given school. So the schools would cave, admitting them without testing and would soon be destroyed by them.

One more, private schools. For parents who care and can afford it. Or parents who do not care and just want the kids out of the house. Small percentage.

          • Blackbird October 21, 2022 at 8:37 pm #

One more, community schools. Back in the one-room schoolhouse days, when everyone – usually even the teacher – walked to school (most of the US before WWII), those kids learned stuff.

Someone, I think it was on this site, posted a link a few months ago to a high school graduation test from 1916. I don’t think that many current college graduates could pass that test.

In a functioning, decentralized, foot-paced, future, that kind of community schooling would/could/should be the norm. In an area six miles square (a midwestern township), in most areas of the country (where a sensible person would live), you can rake up enough underutilized people to staff a school – in most places, several. Other areas may have to hire a K-12 teacher, just like they did in the Little House on the Prairie days.

That world will be smaller. Most information that is needed will be available from those nearby. That is, if Pharaoh allows us to reach that world.

I like much of what you write, and it seems you are a work in progress going nicely. Your next big awakening will occur when you discover that home schooled kids do much better than their public school educated peers, and you are almost there. I’m not writing about just academic performance, home schooled kids are a lot more mature and have better social skills and manners. I’ve witnessed this personally with home schooled people I know. Our government is failing spectacularly with almost every unconstitutional project it undertakes, and total failure is now occurring in government controlled education. It’s not just our health care system that is swirling down the toilet.

Well, there’s this, although from wikipedia,it’s pretty straightforward :”In 1947, the CDC made a token payment of $10 to Emory University for 15 acres (61,000 m2) of land on Clifton Road in DeKalb County, still the home of CDC headquarters as of 2019. CDC employees collected the money to make the purchase. The benefactor behind the “gift” was Robert W. Woodruff, chairman of the board of The Coca-Cola Company. Woodruff had a long-time interest in malaria control, which had been a problem in areas where he went hunting. The same year, the PHS transferred its San Francisco based plague laboratory into the CDC as the Epidemiology Division, and a new Veterinary Diseases Division was established.[8]”.
So, they’ve always ben for sale. The crats like money, especially free money trading their unelected power.

When are people at their most powerless?

      When they know it.

          No, inversion actually.

          • Edge Lord October 21, 2022 at 6:27 pm #

Most common people know they are powerless.

            For 2 reasons:

They have no real agency in politics or governance and there is nothing they can do beyond engaging in the agreed upon and accepted theatrics of vote casting. The one day upon years they feel the slightest empowerment.

Voting does not matter because both the people and the system are corrupt and in the unlikely chance that a boat-rocker comes to power, he is executed(JFK), deposed (Trump), or convinced to think twice.

Faced with this reality, Americans do what they do best: entertain and distract themselves via consumption, or are too busy trying to survive to care about the political reality beyond their immediate (survival) reality

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder October 22, 2022 at 12:06 pm #

I’m with NO here. At first, the realization of powerlessness makes one feel dejected.

    • Islander October 21, 2022 at 11:18 am #

As Martin Armstrong notes in two of his posts today, the Globalists are coming out from behind the curtains and ever more openly imposing their agenda, whatever it is.

As for our leaders want us and our children dead, I see slightly differently.

They don’t care if the actions they take to ensure the smooth flow of the stream of emoluments from TBTB—WEF, Israel Lobby, banks—result in maiming and death of citizens and constituents.

It is just collateral damage. By-catch.
“Acceptable cost/price,” like the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children as the result of US sanctions.

      • thirdcoastlegend October 21, 2022 at 11:44 am #

The sidekick on the Redacted podcast noted the same phenomenon of the globalists dropping the mask.

      • niner October 21, 2022 at 12:14 pm #

Islander, I notice that Armstrong has been coming out very strong in direct challenge to WEF’s deep state. Though not as blunt and direct and unrelenting as Mr. Kunstler.

What to note about Armstrong is that he can know a thing, and believe a thing–but opposite of the left–he does not put it out of mind if it contradicts his assumptions and ideology. And I’m not sure what his ideology is except faith in human beings and the comfort which his computer’s predictions give him–the assumption that Socrates is more right than wrong about the near term.

For instance he knows that the two immediate goals of the deep state as part of their great reset ideology, are 1) to bring in CBDC or some kind of fully digitalized fiat currency and track it minutely through personal individualized accounts. So that every dollar is named and known and attached and tracked through the humans who use it, and, 2) the second goal of the deep state is to bring in fully electrified transportation systems along with fully electrified power systems for buildings, appliances, communications, water and food provisioning, etc.

And what Armstrong points out, is that the usual first military tactic of full on war is to destroy the enemy’s electrical systems. And we know that the very vulnerable grids and generating machinery can be destroyed by many kinds of kinetics from missiles to Molotov cocktails thrown by hand.

And this destruction or disruption of the grids will absolutely defeat the deep state power bases of digital money, transportation, communication, etc.

In other words, bringing down the grid in a modern urban environment means disruption of the control system which the deep state fully intends to impose, without alternative.

So Armstrong holds onto this analysis and he concludes that the deep state has set up a paradox for itself which makes its defeat inevitable.

They may take, but they will not hold.

Wrong. Mr. Kunstler has come to his position fairly recently. Perhaps with some prodding from certain commenters here.

          “What to note about Armstrong”

          Mansplaining much?

“… is that he can know a thing, and believe a thing–but opposite of the left–he does not put it out of mind if it contradicts his assumptions and ideology. And I’m not sure what his ideology is . . ”

Meh. I doubt if Redneck Liberal even reads Jim’s blogs.

      Of course he is.
Warp-Speed was initiated under his watch.
Ostensibly it was the US govt. and Army, etc., in conjunction with Big-Pharma, but we know what that means.

They tried to delay its rolling-out until Biden came along, but they severely underestimated Trump’s childish need for recognition.
In fact Donny kept telling everyone that the vax was ready but they keep delaying it.

He wore that post-syringe band-aid like a war medal.

        • niner October 21, 2022 at 12:40 pm #

It was simply a political error. They had Trump in a double bind, and his intuition failed him–he should have insisted that home treatments (Ivermectin, etc.) be available, or even free, as in India.

I give Trump a pass on this, it is easy to forget how many fronts he was fighting on at the same time.

He did make correct suggestions–but nobody, including most of us, was backing him.

          • Beryl of Oyl October 21, 2022 at 3:48 pm #

He believed what he was told by credentialed people.

He also kept on pushing for treatments not simply a vaccine, but the media distorted everything he said.

Iwould point out that all the governors etc. believed the stupidity about the shots because they were too lazy or stupid to have someone read them the facts.

It was NOT a president’s job to read up on the science behind what people were telling him, ever.

SOMEONE on that task force should have done so, though, and in my opinion it was VP Pence, who was entrusted to head the task force, who was responsible for seeing that it was done.

There is plenty of evidence to suggest Pence was making a mess of things on purpose though.

Again, no president wold be expected to read this stuff for themselves, but somebody on that task force should have.

          • Blackbird October 21, 2022 at 9:10 pm #

“It was NOT a president’s job to read up on the science behind what people were telling him, ever.”

I’d have to disagree with that.

Some things are important enough that you can’t take anybody’s word, you have to gather information yourself and make up your own mind. If a bunch of Clusterfuckers can figure out what “Covid” is about, then the President of the US should be capable of such cogitation too.

  15. Edge Lord October 21, 2022 at 10:29 am #

Fauci sells a lot of stock in January 2020.

Health Officials Dumped Stocks in January 2020, Before COVID Was Declared an Emergency

He discussed quarantines for covid in February.

Tony Fauci was quietly discussing Covid quarantines in February 2020

BTW the Biden administration has plan to make the created virus/lockdowns/rushed shots cycle permanent.

    • SW October 21, 2022 at 10:40 am #

And now Fauci is simply the kindly, concerned grandfather who made simple suggestions and nothing more. That’s right —

“This week, ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl asked Dr. Anthony Fauci if it was a “mistake” for schools to be shuttered as long as they were during the COVID pandemic. “We should realize, and have realized,” Fauci answered, “that there will be deleterious collateral consequences when you do something like that,” adding that he had “nothing to do” with schools closing.”

So the horrible test scores, rising rates of suicide, depression, loneliness that kids needlessly endured had nothing to do with forced (illegal) lockdowns. Rand Paul has promised investigations if the Republicans gain control of the Senate.

      • Beryl of Oyl October 21, 2022 at 11:03 am #

So if you murdered them then they don’t need the shots to kill them and then you won’t have to worry about them!!!
This brainiac has reasoned it out kill them and they help inflation.

      OAN headline.
Democratic Georgia gubernatorial hopeful Stacey Abrams claims that abortion access will alleviate economic hardship.

Stacey Abrams says unrestricted abortion-on-demand can help solve inflation: “Having children is why you’re worried about your price for gas. It’s why you’re concerned about how much food costs.” pic.twitter.com/5CDEAKMDwN

      — RNC Research (@RNCResearch) October 19, 2022
During an interview with MSNBC’s Mike Barnacle, Barnacle pointed out that voters are more concerned with inflation than the overturn of Roe v. Wade. The anchor then asked Abrams how she would help Georgians who are struggling to get by.

However, rather than pointing to big government spending, Abrams’ answer insinuated that women are handicapped by carrying children to term.

“For women, this not a reductive issue,” Abrams said. “You can’t divorce being forced to carry an unwanted pregnancy from the economic realities of having a child, and so these are important for us to have both and have conversations. We don’t have the luxury of reducing or separating them out, but we also have to talk about what a governor can do.”

Critics capitalized on her statement by claiming that Democrats would rather kill unborn babies than renounce bad economic policies.

What an utter fruitcake and all-around ugly human.
It’s such a shame her own mother did not abort her I really think the world would be a better place for it.

Novavax presents s proteins directly to the immune system. It’s core though remains the s protein.

Conventional doesn’t necessarily mean safe. Prof. Chris Exley, who’s researched aluminium toxicity for 30-40 years, lost his job for offending the pharmaceutical industry.

Fortunately, the past 2.5 years educated some people including me not just to be neutral about the medical industry but to avoid it. Everyone should read ‘Deadly Medicines and Organised Crime’, by Dr Peter Gotzche (Danish), 2013.

Are the casualties simply the collaterals who weren’t fit to be Homo Noeticus? Or are they doing more than one thing with this vast experiment. Killing most gradually, leaving others alone, and unleashing the bots in a third group?

Dr. Jill Biden has come out to inform us that there IS a rise in cancer.

However, she claims it’s because people did not go for their screenings.

Whether you went for screenings or not has no effect on the number of cases of cancer.

Body and soul given and what do you get?
I was stationed on a Fast Frigate and we had fuel in our water as well.
They put fuel in the tank and pumped it out then cleaned it and put water in it.
Sometimes they did not clean it out well enough, but you knew there was fuel in the water it tasted faintly sweet.
It’s also not just the Nimitz with this issue.

The crew of a US Navy aircraft carrier recently discovered jet fuel contaminating the water supply.
Multiple Navy and Marine Corps veterans told Insider they experienced the same issue on other ships.
An expert with naval engineering experience broke down how jet fuel contaminates a ship’s drinking water.
The US Navy recently found jet fuel in the water sailors drink, cook, and shower with on the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, and veterans have said this has been a problem on warships for decades. An expert told Insider this week how this potentially hazardous contamination can happen.

A former Navy officer with naval engineering experience explained that this can occur when the pipes between a vessel’s potable water tanks and fuel oil tanks are not aligned or connected properly.

Last month, the Navy acknowledged that the Nimitz’s water supply had been contaminated with what it referred to as “traces” of jet fuel. A sailor on the ship later told Insider that the issue appeared way worse than what the service described and that they were “exposed to an unhealthy amount” of jet fuel.

Days after the jet fuel was first discovered on the carrier, a Navy official told USNI News that the water contamination wasn’t a result of a system failure or leak, but was actually caused by a “procedural ‘line up’ issue.” As an expert explained to Insider, failure to appropriately line up the fuel and water tanks can create a situation in which fuel oil can seep into the water system.

      Cannon fodder is just that.

    • Disaffected October 21, 2022 at 11:19 am #

I’m having a hard time visualizing how tank misalignments between what should be two vitally important and entirely discrete systems could cause such a problem. If that were the case, the problem would in the systems’ design itself, and not in any lesser procedural issues. Most such systems are designed so that ham-brained maintenance men physically cannot fuck them up, no matter how drunk or inattentive they might be on any given day. The USN has a long and storied recent history of covering for their contractor induced fuckups by blaming them on the enlisted and lower officer ranks tasked with maintaining and/or operating them.

      • hmuller October 22, 2022 at 10:53 am #

I’ve heard first hand from sailors who report fuel in the water is a frequent problem. Don’t ask me to draw you a diagram of an aircraft carrier’s plumbing system. It happens. Res ipse loquitor.

    Russia fires on British aircraft.

Was it a mistake my guess is no.

Russian fighter jet recently released a missile near a Royal Air Force reconnaissance aircraft.
The UK’s Ben Wallace said the plane was patrolling over the Black Sea when the engagement happened.
Moscow told London that a technical malfunction caused the issue.
A Russian fighter jet recently released a missile “in the vicinity” of a Royal Air Force reconnaissance plane conducting a patrol mission in Eastern Europe, UK Defense Minister Ben Wallace said Thursday.

The unarmed RC-135W Rivet Joint was in the middle of a routine patrol over the Black Sea on September 29 when two armed Russian Su-27 fighter jets “interacted” with the surveillance aircraft, Wallace told lawmakers in London while delivering an update on the war in Ukraine.

“It is not unusual for aircraft to be shadowed, and this day was no different. During that interaction, however, it transpired that one of the Su-27 aircraft released a missile in the vicinity of the RAF Rivet Joint beyond visual range,” Wallace said, adding that the interaction lasted about 90 minutes.

“Fair” is a very subjective concept. The invisible hand keeps things “efficient”. But we haven’t had true capitalism in a very long while. The last vestiges of price discovery died in 2008, and we’ve been living under central planning by central banks ever since.

Ridiculous. Adam Smith knew that businessmen collude and believe that “competition is a sin”. He simply believed the invisible hand was stronger than them. He was wrong. And anyone who still believes otherwise at this point is a jackoff.

          • Hated American October 22, 2022 at 6:40 pm #

The invisible hand IS stronger in a free market system. It cannot overcome an obscenely rich businessman with massive resources available to buy, blackmail, and threaten government humans. That collusion between gov’t and business is stronger than the invisible hand. Maybe a free press, and open knowledge would overcome it, but obviously that would be controlled by purchasing the monopoly of force from “government”.

Steve Bannon given four months in prison for contempt of Congress

Really and what about people like Eric Holder?

Further proof one set of consequences for Republicans and another for Democrats.

Congress at this time is contemptable as is the Senate and the buffoon in the Whitehouse.

Donald Trump’s top former strategist Steve Bannon was sentenced Friday to four months in federal prison and $6,500 in fines after he was convicted with criminal contempt of Congress for refusing to comply last year with a subpoena issued by the House January 6 select committee.

The punishment makes Bannon the first person to be incarcerated for contempt of Congress in more than half a century and sets the standard for future and additional contempt cases referred to the justice department by the select committee investigating the Capitol attack.

The sentence handed down by the US district court judge Carl Nichols in Washington was lighter than recommended by prosecutors, who sought six months in jail and the maximum $200,000 in fines because Bannon refused to cooperate with court officials’ pre-sentencing inquiries.

Bannon, 68, had asked the court for leniency, and requested in court filings for his sentence to either be halted pending the appeal his lawyers filed briefs with the DC Circuit court Thursday or otherwise have the jail term reduced to home-confinement – but the requests were denied.

The far-right provocateur now faces a battle to overturn the conviction on appeal, which contends the case law that prevented his lawyers from disputing the definition of “willful default” of a subpoena, and arguing he had acted on the his lawyer’s recommendation, was outdated.

    Mr. Bannon do not comply.
Double down since I believe they will murder him in prison.

The hijacked and usurped “government’ is merely establishing new accepted precedent:

-Using Federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies against political adversaries

-Using the DOJ to prosecute political opponents and using the DOJ to protect the establishment from prosecution

-Weakening voter protections and the sanctity of the vote

-Using the IRS to prosecute political opponents

-Using corporate/media partners to silence political opponents

-Forcing the citizenry to comply with any and all mandates by suspending rights (travel, associate, trade, etc.)

-Weakening the power of the judiciary by expanding the court and threatening the court (the last check on the branches-the 4th estate was lost a long time ago-)

There is a simple scenario where all this covid vaxes for people under 55 and children ends, and that is when the people who matter most, BLACKS, start screaming and shouting at school board meetings that they won’t allow this on their kids. Whites, Hispanics, Asians and Middle Eastern Muslims will be ignored or condescendingly demonized while boisterous urban Blacks going nuclear on this will stop this as they are the muscle for a certain other group who is well represented in the high bourgeoise ruling class.

        • Beryl of Oyl October 21, 2022 at 11:48 am #

They are just finding their feet. What I have seen of urban blacks is, the ones who attended school board meeting had something to prove, that the stereotype of black men not caring about their children’s education was false.

Therefore, they tended to support what the “authorities” in education told them was expected of parents.

They are just waking up to the fact that those authorities are a large part of the problem.

          So are the white parents/

You are absolutely right, Edge Lord.

Using the power of the oppressive State to harass, stifle and jail political opponents is an ominous step toward complete totalitarianism.

I don’t understand how people can’t see this.

Actually, shitlibs like Redneck are cheering it on. They see it, but they like it. It’s like the Roman Coliseum and they are screaming for blood.

Yes. That was the shocker for me.Educated, professional relatives screaming for blood of the Jan 6 martyrs, after having no issue with BLM and antifa burning down cities, attacking the White House, etc. They completely ignore and insist all evidence of election fraud/theft is made up, because it wasn’t on CNN. This wholesale abandoning of due process and rule of law by half the country still boggles my mind.

    • Islander October 21, 2022 at 11:55 am #

they will not murder him in prison.

      Because they do not dare.

I predict the Martha Stewart effect:

A lot of people who might not care that much about Steve Bannon might “get” that he is embroiled in some kind of “show trial” and “show prison sentence”–as was Martha Stewart.

Thrown into prison because of some minor financial infraction that is just taco snacks for the big boys on Wall Street.

If Bannon is smart, he will make good use of his prison time interacting with and maybe running workshops or something for other inmates, or helping them with their legal appeals, etc. That was what the PR Meisterin Stewart did. I think it worked for her.

Biden (or the ventriloquist who’s running him) have overplayed their hand. Using Ukraine during Obama’s administration to funnel money to Hunter’s pocket, funding the overthrow of their democratically elected President (corrupt like all of them) with 5 billion in NGOs, installing a not-funny comedian Zelensky for photo-ops, and then the cherry on top — NATO membership — finally did it. They should have realized they were holding a losing hand early on but no.

The Russians defeated Napoleon, crippled the German war machine and obviously mean business. Don’t they teach history at West Point anymore?

      • BackRowHeckler October 21, 2022 at 6:36 pm #

Yeah that’s basically what I’ve been thinking. I just don’t believe that Russia is on its last legs, as the retired US Generals claim every night on CNN.

Russia is out of bullets, artillery shells & tanks, Russian soldiers are running away, Russian soldiers are in full mutiny, the Russian army is retreating — that’s on cable news every night, not only in the USA, but in Germany and the UK as well.

How do you think they’ll spin it when the Ukrainian army is ground up and dissolves into the muddy Russian stepped, and all resistance ceases?

        • Not_GeorgeT October 21, 2022 at 7:48 pm #

Russian army is one entity. What is barely reported is they have mercenary armies, not part of any official troop count. These are ‘take no prisoners’ types such as Wagner (nicknamed ‘The Orchestra’). It is at times a get-out-of jail free card with strings attached, such as they provide the training, recruits then do 6 months at the front line in daily combat with little to zero down time. If you try to retreat or surrender you’ll be shot on the spot. Not for the faint of heart, but consider the pool of recruits includes parts of the prison population.

The very same situation was in place during Hitler’s failed invasion of Russia. There was tremendous fanfare and great news in the German press and radio during the first stages of the invasion. All was well. When the German army began failing and retreating, that situation was mostly ignored in the German press until it couldn’t be ignored and the survivors were limping back home as best they could. Can’t talk about that, bad for German morale!

You know, I once read that the difference between America and China is that America treats her own people with respect but treats all others as dirt, whereas with China it’s the other way around.

It’s fascinating in this respect how ‘China-like’ America has become. As in treating her own people like dirt as well.

It’s also fascinating in this respect how ‘America-like’ China is slowly becoming, as in showing increasing contempt for other people. Just look at her fanatical obsession over the prospect of overtaking everyone else as the new world hegemon, and also the debt traps she has ensnared several other countries in through the ‘aid’ she provided.

Seems those in power are the same everywhere. All are a**holes.

It’s a sad world we live in.

    • Edge Lord October 21, 2022 at 2:46 pm #

Difference is China is an ethno-state that has yet to surrender to infiltrating outsiders with dual-loyalty or compromised loyalty who are willing to use China’s size, might, wealth, and people to pursue the world shaping via war-seeking and wealth hollowing ideologies at China’s expense.

      At least not yet.

    • Jarek October 21, 2022 at 2:53 pm #

Well said, both. Nothing has changed. As one Confucian scholar once said, China is Confucian only outwardly. It’s real governing philosophy is “Legalism” – a horrible Chinese version of Machiavelli only worse. Rule by terror at least to some degree – thus the traditional Chinese fear of public officials, the higher, the worse.

Yet as Edge says, the Chinese have always viewed national/racial pride is still strong, be it warranted or not. We’ve lost that and are increasingly ruled by terror here in the West.

      • Jarek October 21, 2022 at 3:05 pm #

correction: The Chinese have always viewed themselves as the Sons of Heaven. National and racial pride are still strong, be it warranted or not.

I’d say such pride is a sign of health; of elan vital or eros, the life force. Properly channeled, my country right or wrong can become: If right, to be kept right. If wrong, to be put right.

One doesn’t love one’s mother because she’s the best mother, but because she’s yours. And a natural part of that is to make much of any virtues she does have.

        • Edge Lord October 21, 2022 at 3:19 pm #

If both the figureheads of state and the flexi-cons behind them sincerely cared about their fellow citizens, about “their” home nation, about their “shared” history, prestige, wellbeing they would not continually take it down the road to ruin.

They would not be sacrificing the lives of kindred people to create conditions that do not directly benefit THEIR people foremost.

I wonder if Mayorkas would contemplate open borders in Israel.

Better question: I wonder if the Israeli people would allow him.

Elysian quoting jareko “And a natural part of that is to make much of any virtues she does have”.

This goes double for daddies. Calling no man [ Adam] Father, unless he is your father is to honor him with potential magnified by posterity.

Calling anyone pedo Philo = alover of children [ as opposed to pedarast ] seems tame.

Allowing yourself to become unforgiven for a millinium [ over syntax ] seems haphazard.

And every sand becomes a Gem,
            Reflected in the beam divine;
Blown back they blind the mocking Eye,
But still in Israel’s paths they shine.

            The Atoms of Democritus
And the Newton’s Particles of Light
Are sands upon the Red Sea shore,

Ummmm… I’d correct that Confucian scholar you quoted by pointing out that China was Confucian at times and Legalist at other times. There were relatively Confucian emperors and relatively Legalist ones. And there were emperors who were sometimes Confucian and sometimes Legalist. You can’t generalize.

        • Jarek October 21, 2022 at 11:10 pm #

We must. To generalize is to think or at least to engage in one important type of thinking. China was outwardly Confucian – it was the civic religion. And the tests anent the Classics helped secure the best and brightest young men to serve the Empire.

          • SomeoneInAsia October 22, 2022 at 1:24 am #

No, we mustn’t. To generalize — as I understand it anyway — is to say that ALL OF China (or America or whatever) has been ALWAYS like this. Which just doesn’t fit the facts.

I’m not sure what you mean by being ‘outwardly’ Confucian. Do you mean China was never really inwardly Confucian — that Confucianism was never really adopted by the Chinese people as a philosophy that they actually lived by? That again doesn’t fit the facts. There have been numerous celebrated individuals in Chinese history who strove to uphold the Confucian virtues, even at risk to their own lives. I shall assume not all of them were ancient Chinese propaganda brewed up by the rulers to manipulate the masses. Certainly I’m willing to believe that there were at least a few among the Founding Fathers of America who genuinely practised what they preached.

          • Jarek October 22, 2022 at 12:29 pm #

All? The East was never that impressed with Western logic because of that awkward assumption. Of course they value logic (and have theories of it), just don’t make it an enemy. Google fuzzy logic. The East took to this like fish to water. They’ve always been implicitly using it.

I’m sorry. I don’t have the scholar’s name. Then you could read what he had to say about it. Obviously many took Confucianism seriously. Just as many take our Constitution seriously. But many in power do not. Ditto in old China anent Confucianism.

        • hmuller October 23, 2022 at 11:04 am #

This is a little off topic. But I read a piece on the Chinese Imperial Court eunuchs in the 1800’s.

You could not apply for the job while intact. First you had to be a eunuch. The operation involved cutting off testicles and penis. Between dying on the table and post operative infections, 28 out of 100 didn’t make it.

After recovery you had to pass an exam on Confucianism. Of our 72 survivors, one quarter were then offered jobs as Court eunuchs, that’s 18 winners.

No word on what happened to the 54 losers. There were no jobs as drag queen storytellers. Maybe provincial mandarins were hiring.

Now there was a job that required commitment!

It is exactly what Trump said in his inaugural address and is the reason why the Swamp will stop at nothing to destroy him:

For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government, while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs, and while they celebrated in our nation’s capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land. That all changes, starting right here and right now, because this moment is your moment — it belongs to you. It belongs to everyone gathered here today, and everyone watching, all across America. This is your day. This is your celebration, and this, the United States of America, is your country.

I recently went to a church that I got something out of over twenty years ago. The Church of Religious Science.

The spiritual director introduced himself. ‘My name is Eli and my pronouns are they and them.’ I was horrified and later that day wrote him a pointed email about how inauthentic his charade was. There is no way I will refer to him as ‘they’ when he’s obviously a guy.

“Had none of the committee members seen reports of mRNA-vaccinated children dropping dead from myocarditis induced by the vaccines?”

Well, yeah. That inconvenient and deadly myocarditis outbreak among young children has been addressed with a television commercial. When I first saw this commercial on TV I couldn’t believe it. A young girl was having severe stomach aches and a hospital Intensive Care Unit diagnosed her as having a severely swollen heart, “something called myocarditis.” But doctors gave her medicine and used machines to control her heartbeat.

Problem solved! Now this little girl can go back to being a normal healthy child, because, apparently, there will be no lasting aftereffects. By the way, this public service commercial never mentioned what might have caused her myocarditis. Go to YouTube and search for “myocarditis commercial for children” and scroll down to play the video with this title. This is not a joke. This video actually played on network television.

    • SW October 21, 2022 at 3:24 pm #

And what also was on a TV commercial (I saw it just once) was an ad to adopt beagles that were used “to expand the scope of science” or some such b.s. So I guess they’re not going to torture beagles to death anymore which is nice. The self-righteous hypocrites on the left had a really hard time explaining that atrocity away. Almost as bad as illegals being dumped on Martha’s Vineyard.

“…but it may have coincidentally destroyed public schooling in America.”
Ok. I have now read today’s post-as opposed to what said in the email.
    Just about…well, let me think…
Yeah. 30 years ago, kids started showing up in my math classes not knowing what “add,” “subtract,” “divide,” and “Lunch time” meant. No Engwish.
You know how you slow down a Tesla from 120 to 0? Change the operating system to a language the car doesn’t understand. 60 to 0 in under zero seconds. All forward progress stopped. All “professional development” focuses on how to teach people who don’t speak English the content. This ain’t hard to understand.
And this influx? Two, three, four, whatever million more that don’t speak English? It’s over.
America IS a third-world county, and you can’t get a decent education in a public school in America. Comprende? And my Spanish isn’t bad. But it doesn’t help.

    • Woodchuck October 21, 2022 at 3:40 pm #

Destroying public schooling would be the best thing that could happen to the US. I know a young man very well who was home schooled on a farm, and after 8th grade he attended a private Christian high school. He never spent as much as one second in any public schools.

At age 18 he applied for a job with a Haliburton subsidiary in North Dakota. His interview went so well they trained him to run big locomotives and to operate plant equipment loading and unloading very dangerous cargoes like liquid propane and butane. His peers at the moment in grad school are perhaps still broke, still borrowing money for education, or maybe still depending on parents. Not so with this fellow – he’s making a six figure income fresh out of high school. Had he gone to public schools none of this could have happened for him. What’s being taught in these schools today is how to be a loser and how to still remain basically a child when one is 18.

    “The Authorities Are Our Enemies”

What makes someone an ‘Authority’? Is this bestowed by some magical touching on a head by some all-powerful something that runs the Universe like a railroad yard dispatcher and grants wishes like a magic fairy? Is this title earned? Is this title seized?

No to all of these things. Authority is established and granted when YOU give someone or something authority. You don’t give it… ‘authority’? Then it ain’t got jack.

To whom and to what do you give your authority to?

Does it ‘deserve’ such a powerful and majestic vesting from you?

Do you know why you are giving this authority? Is it for a good or a bad reason? And do you care which?

Do you grant authority because everybody else is doling it? Is this how you decide the course of your life and when and how you cede your power to?

Do those to whom you grant authority have your best interests at heart? Are you sure? Do you believe their answer?

Is there something or someone better you could give authority to?

Ultimately… all power and authority do not come from outside. Yes, the outside forces have their fancy weaponry and their many thugs and their willing dupes to enforce their will… but all Power always comes from within. Within you. Always, you.

Regardless of who or what The Authority claims to be… they are nothing without your agreement to make them… Authorities.

Some authorities are in fact ‘good’ for you. Very many are not.

We are surrounded every moment by those many who claim authority over us. Politicians… State media… Corporations… Doctors… Town Councils… bosses… significant others… school boards… Church officials… Neighborhood Covenants and Restrictions… all those many today who are eagerly pushing ‘Medicare Advantage Plans!’… the mixed-race messaging in all media forms… ‘White Guilt’(?!)… Memes from ‘Influencers’…

On and on it goes. No shortage of people trying to get over on you.

In fact, if you let all these people become Authorities there will be very little of You left. Virtually nothing at all. Everybody else owns you. You have willingly adopted slavery to others as your total life mission.

We all have to grant authority in the right places and to the right people. Society in any shape and size could not functions without this.

But… the answer to be damn careful about who and what you grant authority to. And be crystal clear about your true motives for doing so. And what their true motives are towards you.

And we also never must lose sight of the fact that our lives are not and were never totally our own. We were brought here by countless forces that conspired to create us in this time and place.

And we owe something to the Great Spirit that is the ground for all this cosmic personal drama.

That’s where all True Authority abides.

    • Anthea October 21, 2022 at 5:50 pm #

Anthea: “Authority” comes into being through force. Period.

Is it really Authority that comes through force… or is it Coerced Compliance and Compulsion under threat and duress?

      • hmuller October 22, 2022 at 12:30 pm #

Let’s distinguish between the authority of power and the authority of legitimacy.

Every junta in a banana republic (such as the Biden administration) has the first.

But legitimacy comes from the consent of the governed.

We have a bipartisan self perpetuating political machine by and for the Elite which manages to cloak itself with the legitimacy of elections. You can have Pepsi or you can have Coke.

        • Roundball Shaman October 22, 2022 at 1:54 pm #

hmuller: “… legitimacy comes from the consent of the governed.”

This is true. But no one as we are becoming adults wakes up one day and says, ‘I think it’s time I finally give my consent to being governed by the Government!’. Everyone gives this ‘consent’ without actually ever giving it. A person just sort of stumbles into it and sleepwalks into things like getting a driver’s license and a voter card. In other words, consent is ‘given’ not so much by Commission as it is by Omission. And governments don’t care how you do it as long as you ‘MUST’ do it.

“We have a bipartisan self perpetuating political machine by and for the Elite which manages to cloak itself with the legitimacy of elections.”

For maybe half of the Country now, since 2020 that cloak has pretty much fallen off and revealed the nasty-looking private parts of the election system as it exists. And with the upcoming election, we will likely see even more people doubt the legitimacy of the system when ‘their’ candidates lose. No one will want to accept defeat and everything and everyone will be blamed for the losses. And if Biden grants the right for non-citizens to vote? All hell will break loose.

        • Anthea October 22, 2022 at 3:18 pm #

          @ Roundball Shaman:

People do not give consent to be governed by getting a driver’s license. This is done under pure compulsion–force. If you MUST do it, it is done under compulsion.

The “authority of legitimacy” that hmuller refers to involves no coercion–no force. One may accept or reject it.

          • Roundball Shaman October 22, 2022 at 4:35 pm #

Anthea: “People do not give consent to be governed by getting a driver’s license. This is done under pure compulsion–force. If you MUST do it, it is done under compulsion. The ‘authority of legitimacy’ that hmuller refers to involves no coercion–no force.”

And since all of us “must” do certain things to exist under government or to be able to do do certain activities… then in fact there can be no freely given consent to such authority. Ultimately, it’s all forced.

I only mentioned the drivers license thing because some folks contend that this act conveys consent (or even just one’s having a birth certificate). But given my above statement… this is all done under duress and ‘requirement’.

Giving free consent to ‘authority’ outside of government is possible (like a boss, or some chosen social organization, etc.). But this is not possible with regard to government.

  39. GoldenRoad October 21, 2022 at 3:11 pm #

What is the one thing you tried to do today that your government stopped you from doing? This used to be an interesting place, but now it’s a bunch of pathetic paranoia zombies on a steady drip of news from the dark bowels of the rumornet. I’m gonna take a flyer here and say that most (not all) of you are retired oldsters who haven’t had a lot of contact with anyone different than yourselves (other than digitally) in some time. I can scan the internet for dozens of authentic medical articles that reject what you are saying. Yet you will source the few sketchy, rumor filled derivative ones and say that the authorities control the media. This is seriously sad because you used to be real journalist. And I cared about what you wrote. Which makes me sad as well.

Hate to disappoint Q., but stocks are traded almost exclusively in large blocks by hedge funds using algorithms which look for the smallest gains at the margins and then apply that to huge trades, so trying to impute whys and wherefores is largely a fools game meant solely to pique the appetite of the small investor, who whether he knows it or not, is just chum for the sharks.

And of course the base valuations are so far divorced from reality due to the huge amount of Fed Funny Bucks sloshing through the market looking desperately for a return that nobody in their right mind or an inveterate casino gambler could possibly take any of it remotely seriously.

  42. neurodoc October 21, 2022 at 4:14 pm #

‘…..and the lawyers there said it was okay.’

This is NOT surprising as the CDC’s vote had nothing to do with health care; it was all about 2 things: 1) increasing the profits of the likes of pfizer, and 2) killing the potential for lawsuits by the millions of damaged people and their relatives. CDC is a BUSINESS, pure and simple; they own massive amounts of patents and, via those patents, do joint ventures with other businesses like pfizer and moderna. Like 75% of the rest of health care, they are fraudulent psychopaths. Their decision to damage a whole generation of children, to protect their business associates like pfizer, was a BUSINESS decision, not a health care decision.

The above is not an isolated issue. I can assure you that half of you who have had cardiac caths, e.g., only had panic anxiety attacks that only looked like angina. The cholesterol meds you take are worthless in reducing the risk of heart attacks (see the British J of Med’s meta analysis from a couple of years ago), but you take them because your ‘doctor’ lies to you and tells you that you must take them. I could go on and on, but, regarding one’s healthcare, everyone needs to do their own research and not just believe a ‘doctor’ (now often a fucking nurse with a master’s degree in bullshit) who sees you as little more than a single digit in an income stream.

After spending 38 years in medicine as an MD, I only want to vomit when I see what medicine and healthcare have become. And, I stay away from doctors and hospitals completely.

I’ve never quoted Marx before, but in the Manifesto, he states, and I paraphrase ‘…..(rampant, corporate..my words) capitalism transforms once noble professions, such as doctors, nurses, pastors and priests, into simple prostitutes’. He was certainly correct about this one thing.

    • mitchellc October 21, 2022 at 4:40 pm #

Marx – and Jefferson too – was right about practically everything.

The class struggle is essentially predator vs prey.

Capitalism abhors competition and strives towards monopoly.

Money power (corporations) corrupt the body politic.

The opposite is also true: a communist state will mirror the same exact characteristics.

So it’s not any particular system, it’s simply the facts of life.

Accept that and move on. Sail, fish, surf, ski, travel – you name it, exploit the system to maximize your particular personal benefit and party on.

OK, I’ve waited a respectable number of hours for Jim’s essay today to be read and commented upon and now I want to turn to Q’s Shitlist:

I currently have a list containing 73 entries on a spreadsheet. I want to open up two more columns next to these entries. The first one will contain a definition and the second the use of the term in a sentence. The definition may require a notation of verb, noun or other. For example the word bullshit may be defined as Vulgar Slang “noun: stupid or untrue talk or writing; nonsense” or as “verb: talk nonsense to (someone), typically to be misleading or deceptive.”

The term could be used in a sentence such as “It’s all political bullshit.” Or, “Don’t give me that ‘happily married’ bullshit.”

I request your help in coming up with definitions and example usages. They need to be as concise as possible so the columns are not too wide.

If you submit something to me begin with @Q re Shitlist. This way I will be able to execute a find command to easily find all that have been submitted. I retain authority to edit any of your suggested entries.

My shitlist will be posted in a separate comment below.

    We want them dead, too.

We are building a parallel society because we absolutely have to.

This is going on in many places. I’m happy to see it. If we barter and work together as a community, no one goes hungry, kids are all taught, and we don’t need techno-feudalism.

Funny you should put it that way, as that’s the way the Globalists look at it too. Of course from their point of view, everything will be just the opposite of what you’ve listed above.

    • PeteAtomic October 21, 2022 at 8:16 pm #

Perhaps this will be how the US splinters. I don’t know.

A “parallel society” is not a united one, that’s for sure.

However, if you look at the political history of the US, it is a history of divisions, with periods of intense unity over facing an external threat.

      • thirdcoastlegend October 21, 2022 at 8:22 pm #

Trouble is, “splintering,” benefits the Chicoms and their war of extermination against the US, if one buy’s what the Natural News guy and some of his guests are postulating.

I’m not sure I do, but on the other hand emperor Xi seems to believe he has this thing called, “The Mandate of Heaven.”

      • Woodchuck October 22, 2022 at 3:08 am #

It might also splinter if enough people get mad/angry and contact their individual state representatives demanding secession. However, that won’t be possible until the dollar dies and is no longer accepted in international trade because it will be too unstable. When people have lost the value of most all of their dollars, they’ve also lost value of their central government that basically abandoned them. If our federal government destroys the dollar, why would anyone trust them if they issue a new one because they ruined the old one? If you are in a wreck driven by a poor driver, why would you get in the car for a second experience? Well, if you are a dumb-ass, you just might.

If enough states secede then it’s game over for the current version of the United States. With Civil War version one, there was a sharply defined north and south at war with each other. If seceded states are randomly distributed all over the place, a civil war might be too confused a situation to fight. Or we might break up into smaller collections of states with their own central governments and their own laws, currencies, and constitutions. We might occupy the land here in the same way Europe is about to reoccupy theirs. Small sovereign nations with border guards and passports required the way it was up to the formation of the EU. And maybe North America returns to it’s own roots and has various individual nations just as the natives here had their own tribal areas, boundaries, and nations. Some would call this a regression into past barbarism, others might call it simply a return to the way humans have *always* lived on the planet for thousands of years. The industrial revolution was just a fad based on fossil fuel availability. Remove the energy inputs and we all go Medieval, a term JHK uses every now and then to describe our future.

  49. Sean Coleman October 21, 2022 at 6:33 pm #

I regularly listen to parts of a long conversation between Adam Abauzit, a French barrister and ‘TEPA’ (an alternative media man from Fench Guyana (I think) who died a few yeas ago). Abauzit studied the voluminous court records and all the other evidence relating to the Dreyfus Affair from the 1890s.

It is complicated but I kind of got my hear around another bit of it yesterday.

Following an expensive orchestrated press campaign and hoax letters and telegrams from the Dreufisards, who were seeking to get a re-trial for their man and at the same time undermine the French Army, Zola published his famous J’Accuse article and ended up in court himself. (My old French master, nicknamed Spike, mentoined this half a century ago and he clearly admired Zola.)

At Zola’s trial Co;pme; Pecquart, who was head of France’s military secret service, came out very badly. And the handwriting experts p;rovided by the Dreyfus camp to confirm that Esterhazy (spelling?), a nobody of a proviincial infantry officer who could never have had access tot he military secrets Dreyfus had been convicted of giving to the Germans, turned out to be far from expert.

But then came the “Faux Henry’, the fraudulent evidence fabricated by Capt. Henry, who was convinced of Dreyfus’s guilt, this fraud came to light and caused further sensation (Henry cut his throat 24 hours later).

I should have mentioned that Esterhazy had earlier been aquitted of treason because there was no concrete evidence against him.

A law had been passed in 1892 I think, which would be a year before the Dreyfus case arose, whereby once a man had been cleared of a crime in court he could not be tried again.

Anyway, the Faux Henry led to a wave of public opinion for Dreyfus to get his re-trial.

The following is the sequence of events.

Sept 23 1898 The commission looking into the case for a re-trial for Drefus announced its opinion that it should not happen.

Sept 24 am The Cabinet of the Government was scehduled to endorse this and squash the re-trial. However the PM, a Dreyfusard, intervened to postpone a decision until the following day.

Sept 24 pm Esterhazy, who had fled to England (where he went on to live for many years without any visible means of support) confessed to an English newspaper that he had in fact written the ”Bordereau’, the list of mlilitary secrets that Dreyfus had been convicted of betraying, and he had done this at the behest of the French Army.

Sept 25 pm Esterhazy’s confession was carried in the evening French press. Sensation.

Sept 26 am The Government announced that it would conduct a re-trial of Dreyfus.

Sept 26 pm Esterhazy withdrew his confession. But the machinery had been set in motion for the re-trial and could not now be stopped.

Yet again, says Abauzit, “Grosse ficelles! Grosses, grosses ficelles!”

I think the modus operandi is much the same nowadays.

    • Sean Coleman October 21, 2022 at 6:36 pm #

Should be Sept 24 am for Esterhazy’s confession. It runs like clockwork. I suppose the word is ‘choreographed’.

      • hmuller October 22, 2022 at 8:26 pm #

Forgive my obtuseness, but are you saying you believe Dreyfuss was guilty or innocent?!

        • Sean Coleman October 23, 2022 at 7:48 am #

Guilty. The legend was created that he was framed by the French Army because he was Jewish. The punchline in the timeline above is that once Esterhazy had brought about a re-trial for Dreyfus (whose first trial was in 1894) with his ‘confession’ he then withdrew it. It was clearly choreographed. It is just one part of quite a long and complicated story.

          • hmuller October 23, 2022 at 11:31 am #

Something similar happened with the trials of the Rosenberg’s for passing nuclear secrets to the Soviets circa 1950. Issues of guilt got all tangled up with issues of anti-Semitism.

In other words if you thought them guilty, you were accused of hating all Jews.

          • Sean Coleman October 23, 2022 at 11:40 am #

The Rosenbergs case is one I keep meaning to look into a little bit more. The parallel I was thinking of was Leo Frank, who raped and murdered a young Catholic employee in his factory and the judicial process against him was subverted by intense lobbying. In response he was lynched. E Michael Jones often mentions it. I think it was either the last, or perhaps only, time a Jew was lynched in the US. It happened around 1915.

It could be media generated BS as you put it, DA. It’s hard to tell. But the story has definitely been spiked, or else the media just lost interest. The latter would be hard to understand because much of the local news here is of the “What about the children” variety, from ‘School Bus Stop’ weather reports every morning to stories about the goings on in local classrooms i.e. Celebrating Diversity, making posters for the next LBGQT Pride Parade, tranny reading hour for little ones in Stamford, ‘Welcoming’ new arrivals (illegals) on their first day etc. — that sort of thing.

          • SpeedyBB October 24, 2022 at 10:14 pm #

As a sometime teacher (ESL), on and off since 1960, it troubles me to see young people – everywhere, not just in the entitled USA – presented with a world of opulence, affluence, consumer joy, just beyond their reach, denied to them because they were not born into a sufficiently wealthy or connected family environment.

Japan used to offer a carefully-programmed path to middle-class prosperity, in which children and grandchildren could plainly see how incredibly wealthier they would be than those who came before them. Lifetime employment, great bonuses, retirement with a comfortable pension at 55. Talking 1960s, when the Vietnam War made that country very rich while taking a toll on ours.

The promise of a career in a corporate paradise began to fade away with the 1980s recession, right about the time I had my last lengthy employment there. Soon afterwards, as the hard times bit in, you had the [sad but pitifully funny] rise of the “hikikomori”, the tribe of young adults who saw nothing in society for them and withdrew to their rooms, where they played video games all day and only socialized to the extent of taking food in from their mommy and leaving dirty clothes outside their doors.

Parents were naturally stunned at this, but when a kid who has gone through nearly two decades of institutional brainwashing, excuse me public education, ostensibly in preparation to click into the labor force of a majestic name corporation, faces bleak reality, it is no surprise that they resist by withdrawing into themselves.

Ditto now in China, with the “lay-down” generation of young adults – mostly males, I would guess, as there are always low-paying service jobs open for women – openly refusing to compete in a brutal and ill-paying job market. No more “iron rice bowl” or “Party study sessions” for them either.

This is driving the ideologues nuts, because everybody in the faux-Marxist consumerist paradise is supposed to be striving for moremoremore. Alas, millions of young Chinese are simply declining to compete.

Having spent years traveling about the country and talking to locals, the only class of Japanese I considered reasonably happy in their role in life and adjusted to the world around them were the farmers, unbelievably spoiled by government subsidies and price supports for their produce. They lived well, at least until the men drank themselves to death (not uncommon, alas, as no thought is given to “alcoholism” as an illness). Actually, to be fair about it, I have seen wiry, five-foot-tall farmers out whacking their sweet potato fields at the age of 90, going home and guzzling a half-liter of shochu every day. (Think Everclear).

Few of their kids want to follow in what is clearly a regimen of hard labor, preferring instead to go live in a chicken cage in Osaka or Nagoya and work in a widget factory, getting paid peanuts. Sex? Marry? Why bother. Many take a hard look at their parents and decide, not surprisingly, that that scenario is not for them.

Setting up house for young marrieds is traumatic, even with help from parents. The cheapest itty-bitty apartment you can find costs upwards of $200,000, even in second- and third-tier cities. Rents are appropriately steep as well, when company housing is not avaiable.

Everywhere I look, in just about any country, I see low-energy kids, excess poundage being an obvious corollary of this. Poor diet is part of the problem, as junk food expands its imperialist march globally – but there is something else at play as well, which ties in with the general hopelessness of this generation.

I was amazed and amused to learn that the kids protesting the American military presence in Japan, and the so-called “mutual defense pact”, the ones who burned down Tokyo University, were the target of keen corporate recruiters. They saw drive, motivation, commitment: all it needed was to be harnessed and turned to business objectives, making obedient, well-groomed sarariman out of the radicals. Smart.

    • Paula D October 21, 2022 at 8:30 pm #

RSV is a common virus among children.

I think this must be a gain-of-function bioweapon where they took RSV (usually mild) and made it more lethal.

      They are after the kids.

Trying again. Back in the 60s when a vaccine killed kids they stopped giving it.

But they didn’t stop trying to make another one. How to sell it, when most kids sail on through RSV without a problem?

I know! Make it more lethal.

      Of course he didn’t know.

So I drew it on the diagram and told him to ask his teacher about it the next day.

He came home from school and I asked him what she said about the clitoris.

Massachusetts woman charged with unleashing swarms of bees on sheriff’s deputies who were trying to enforce an eviction pic.twitter.com/jsmxmON1Rj

    — SAY CHEESE! ?? (@SaycheeseDGTL) October 19, 2022
Professional beekeeper Rorie Woods encountered Hampden County sheriff deputies last week in front of her Springfield home. The 55-year-old woman was enraged over the eviction notice and had allegedly smashed open a hive. The agitated bees stung officers and bystanders while the suspect donned her protective beekeeper suit.

Sheriff Nick Cocchi from the Hampden County Sherriff Department made a statement about the unusual attack.

“This is a very different approach to inflicting harm or disrupting an eviction process. We’ve never seen this before,” Cocchi said. “When she went back there and she unleashed the first beehive, that’s when we knew, wow, she’s here to do more than just protest and be heard. She’s here actually to harm people.”

Authorities announced that one deputy was treated at a local hospital.

Woods now faces multiple charges, including four felony counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

You have obviously never seen someone go into anaphylaxis.
Untreated they can be just as dead and fairly quickly.
As far as cleaner or quick that depends on where and what caliber someone is shot with.
People can linger for days and die of infection from clothing being pulled into a wound.

In last blog’s comment section I discussed one-child policy, and Night Owl asked, “How come China no longer has theirs in place?”

    1) I think they were happy enough with the results to retire it for a while. 2) I think “prosperity” has corrupted the Chinese. They’ve liberalized quite a bit, and their edge is wearing off. They’re buying in to the techtopia that removes all consequences and all the rest.

Anthea said that the argument for human overpopulation “treats humans like they are livestock,” as if the laws of the herd don’t apply to the human herd. If human’s won’t see themselves as animals within the ecological system, they will be revealed as the least of the animals within that system.

Many fear the eugenics of the elites. Meanwhile, thermodynamic and ecological laws outline their own eugenics program.

Classic feminine thinking. Just logical and long enough to establish some virtue signaling and then craps out. Isn’t being esteemed the whole point? What other point could there be?

The Truth is in not in them.

    • Night Owl October 22, 2022 at 3:36 pm #

You should look more into what is actually going on. They didn’t just “retire it for a while,” they are actively promoting family and providing subsidies to get people to start cranking out kids.

In a country with one of the largest populations on earth, this makes no sense whatsoever if the CCP actually believes the earth is “overpopulated.”

And of course there is no credible, hard scientific evidence that the earth has reached its carrying capacity or is in any danger of doing so.

      Man facts.

      • Paula D October 22, 2022 at 8:25 pm #

They want more laborers, just like any capitalist country.

Before, they were worried about feeding people.

Certainly a component of their overall program, yes.

      • Jarek October 23, 2022 at 12:22 pm #

So you’d have us go to that limit – without even knowing what it is? Then what? Like a guy who knows there is a sharp turn on a cliff ahead, but just doesn’t want to slow down.

Or you don’t believe there is a limit? Or you just don’t care. In which case, it’s not just the Greens who changed, but you as well. Don’t know, don’t want to know.

Ignorance. You’re an Easter Island type person.

  61. Q. Shtik October 21, 2022 at 11:57 pm #

It can be fun dreaming up definitions for these shit terms. Take for example the phrase ‘crock of shit’… it’s such a fun phrase… I love it.

I have no idea when or whom the phrase “‘crock’ of shit” was coined when there are an almost infinite number of other vessels he could have used. He could have said “‘a wicker basket’ of shit; but he didn’t, he said ‘crock’ and people liked it and it stuck. Besides, crock pots can be large and heavy and permanent and can store almost anything, even shit, for a long period. The shit itself is usually a collection of verbal assertions made by someone which the listener recognizes as utterly false, absurd, clueless, or insane.

And the shit will always and forever BE shit. There will not be some future time when it will be discovered that the contents of the crock were mistakenly called shit when in fact the contents were bouquets of roses. Once a crock of shit always a crock of shit.

Example usage: Everything that the candidate asserted was a total crock of shit.

    • Q. Shtik October 21, 2022 at 11:59 pm #

      by whom

    • Woodchuck October 22, 2022 at 12:12 am #

If you have a crock of shit could you dip something in it?

I’d not be complaining if you entertain and inform us about the origins of the word “dipshit”. I’m finding conflicting stories about its source. Maybe there are multiple and different origins of “dipshit”.

      • Disaffected October 22, 2022 at 9:57 am #

Good observation. Dipshit: a common term of somewhat mysterious origins.

The best explanation I’ve seen is a combination of ‘dippy’ (stupid or foolish) and shit. I remember my mom (now 85) would use the term ‘dippy’ quite often way back in the day when referring to some of the truck drivers she worked with, who would constantly hit on all the girls in the office.

I suppose a shorter version of ‘dipped in shit’ could also be a plausible explanation. “Look at that loser! He looks like he’s been dipped in shit!”

        • Disaffected October 22, 2022 at 10:15 am #

As young Theodore stumbled down to breakfast stinking of liquor and cigarettes after a long night of hard drinking and chasing flirtatious skirts with older brother Wally and his salacious friend Eddy, father Ward looked up from his morning paper and said, “Beaver, what in the world’s got into you? You look like you’ve been dipped in shit this morning!”

    • MaryQueen October 22, 2022 at 12:33 pm #

Crock of shit is a good one, yeah. And it is fun trying to figure out the origins.

I just thought of another, fairly new term: “Shit post” or “Shit posting”

Is that on your list? Sorry too lazy to scroll up and check.

      • Blackbird October 22, 2022 at 10:16 pm #

Don’t scroll up – the list is way further up there than you think. I barely found my way back down here. And since I’m too lazy to scroll down and find a better place to post, here is my shit post:

        “Jack Shit”

        Meaning: something worthless, nothing.

Use it in a sentence: “You don’t know jack shit!” Virtually all of the uses of the term “jack shit” take place within that one sentence.

Might be a Michigan thing. A rare bird like the jack-pine warbler. Lotsa “jack” stuff up here. Maybe to do with lumberjacks? Is “jack” a northern form of “jake”?

Origins are interesting – but made-up origins, that’s a buncha shit. I tried to look into “crock of shit” (Quora.com) and found a probable shit post that was itself likely a crock of shit.

        • Q. Shtik October 23, 2022 at 12:39 am #

Meaning: something worthless, nothing. – Blackbird

If by “meaning” you mean “definition” I disagree. The definition of Jack Shit would be “anything.”

          You don’t know Jack Shit.
          You don’t know anything.

      • Amman October 24, 2022 at 7:56 am #

Lump of shit is another good one but not as famous. As far as I know, the origin is from STAFF SGT BARNES in the movie PLATOON by Oliver Stone.

“Y’all take a look at this…” in reference to the dying fat guy.

    • Jarek October 22, 2022 at 1:08 pm #

Wrong. The shit becomes soil and if the crock is kept open, something will grow in it. Even roses if it is big enough.

Thus the chamber pot becomes the Greek urn. And the stone that the builder rejected is chosen by the Builder to become the head of the corner.

Karol Wojtyila used to take his students camping when he was a priest and professor, and before he became Pope John Paul ll. He would turn the canoe upside down to make it an altar when he said mass. Things were alive for him. In contrast, for Q they are what they are, in other words, utterly dead.

Hard to watch but real easy to understand.
The book is dense and very demanding reading, so this is an important step.

“Moscow’s mayor is obsessed with your face”

Facial recognition future, Russia-style. And yet, people talk of escaping to Russia to get away from the WEF’s project.

And from another ES article linked from this one, just because I love how they play us off against each other:

“Guys, chill. The digital implant for calculating your health insurance premium will be extremely anti-NATO. You will feel so morally superior, with your anti-NATO health insurance chip. Think of all those suckers in the West, with their pro-NATO health insurance chip. lol, losers.”

    • MaryQueen October 22, 2022 at 12:35 pm #

      Love that substack.

I’m laughing at the quoted paragraph, however, of course this is pretty dire stuff.

    • SoftStarLight October 22, 2022 at 1:49 pm #

But it is plausible that the camera systems and facial recognition tech are helpful managing cities with millions and millions of people. Small villages are another thing of course. But it seems like this is the logical outcome of all the modern tech and how people for the most part love new gadets and some will use them for bad purposes. I still don’t think it necessarily means that Russia is on board with the WEF.

    • SoftStarLight October 22, 2022 at 1:18 pm #

            The Shit List
            Ghost Shit
You know you’ve done a shit. There’s shit on the toilet paper, but none in the toilet.
            Teflon Shit
Comes out so slick, clean and easy that you don’t even feel it. No trace of shit on the paper. You have to look in the toilet to make sure you did something.
            Glue Shit
This has the consistency of hot tar. You wipe your arse 12 times and it’s still not clean. You end up putting toilet paper in your jocks so that you don’t stain them. This kind of shit leaves permanent skid marks in the toilet.
            Second Thought Shit
You’re all done wiping, and you’re about to stand up when you realise….you’ve got more.
Pop A Vein In Your Head Shit
The kind of shit that killed Elvis. It doesn’t come out till you’re all sweaty, trembling and purple from straining so hard.
            Weight Watchers Shit
You shit so much, you lose several kilos.
            Right Now Shit
You had better be within 30 seconds of a toilet. You burn rubber getting to the toilet. Usually it has its head out before you can get your pants down.
            King Kong Shit (or Choker)
This one is so big that you know it won’t go down the toilet unless you break it into smaller chunks. A wire coat hanger works well. This kind of shit usually occurs at someone else’s house.
            Cork Shit (or Floater)
Even after the third flush it’s still floating in the bowl.
            Wet Cheek Shit (or Splashdown)
This shit hits the water sideways and makes a big splash that gets you all wet.
            Wish Shit
You sit there all cramped up in the foetal position and fart a few times, but no shit in sight. Sometimes called a political shit, since there’s a lot of hot air and no result.
            Brick Shit
You wish you had a spinal anaesthetic before you attempted this one.
            Snake Shit
This shit is fairly soft, about as thick as your thumb and at least a metre long.
            Beer and Pizza Shit
This happens the day after the night before. Most of the time your shit doesn’t smell so bad but this one is BAD… and usually this one happens at someone else’s house, with someone waiting outside to come in next.
Ring of Fire Shit (or Screamer)
The one that happens after you’ve eaten seriously hot, spicy food. You will know it’s safe to eat again when your arse stops burning.

    Regarding dipshit:

There are various definitions from several sources for this shit term. This one from Urban Dictionary is as good as any:

A despised person; a moron; an ineffectual person; one with a habit of being wrong, loudly and often.

    • Disaffected October 22, 2022 at 1:32 pm #

Respectfully, I think the topic of discussion was etymology, Q. Master; reasoning that dip and shit seemed to be an odd combination at first blush. I think the ‘dipped in shit’ (and put out to dry) idea is the most humorous, but I don’t think that was dipshit’s true origin.

By the way, I can think of someone you know right off the bat that you might apply this term to regularly. Am I right?

      • Q. Shtik October 22, 2022 at 2:32 pm #

Referring to someone as a “dipshit” is generic name-calling like so many other names that begin or end with ‘shit’ but I cannot account for the dip syllable. It does roll off the tongue nicely, however.

        • Disaffected October 22, 2022 at 2:41 pm #

Maybe it’s as simple as that? Someone said it somewhere along the line, others noticed and liked the sound of it, and before you know it, it was a thing.

To wit: Snoop Dog’s many variations of fa’shizzle, da’shizzle, ma’jizzle, shizznit, etc. Basically nonsense words that are fun and/or cool to say.

    Oxford Languages: Shibboleth

a custom, principle, or belief distinguishing a particular class or group of people, especially a long-standing one regarded as outmoded or no longer important.
“the majority, under the influence of vague nineteenth-century shibboleths, understood him to be associating himself with the doctrine that every nation has a right to be a sovereign state”

Jarek: The Ad Men have succeeded in making White racial survival into a shibboleth among Whites themselves. Or as William Piece said, they have been able to plant a death wish into the collective White psyche. Thus benr isn’t interested in any of “that racial stuff” but is very interested in being accepted as a good haole by various non-White riff raff.

Would he have been cool enough to be part of Obama’s choom gang? Who can say? If only!

With regard to Ad Men, destroying the white race and folding them into the rest would seem to be a natural progression and not one ultimately aimed at just whites, as global capitalism exhausts its target market demographics and moves onto the next, with homogenized and yet still highly differentiated products being the ultimate goal.

Fast food comes to mind immediately. The business model itself is homogenized and global, even as it’s still highly differentiated to separate ethnic and cultural tastes, albeit in an artificial and entirely generalized and superficial manner. What you get is a globally sanitized simulacrum of what any particular authentic food might taste like.

Exactly Mary. And the same goes with heavy drinking. Up to about age 30 — after that it’s time to turn over a new leaf, start eating healthier, stop drinking so much (if you want to live)

      • Woodchuck October 23, 2022 at 11:03 am #

Fast food depends on fast transportation. After the final collapse of the car culture we can expect the collapse of the fast food industry and many other industries. People in the future will be too broke to go to restaurants, and won’t have the resources to drive to them anyway. In the USA, we’ll first experience a lurch back to the 50’s. That was a time when people living in rural areas and small towns (like my town was as a child) had back yard gardens and chicken coops and even pigs/hogs. They lived this way because no other options were available. No other options will be available for us either. The real ass kicking arrives when electricity becomes unreliable and making hand tools becomes a new industry. There’s a field next to me that once was mowed by a guy with a scythe. They mow it now with a bush hog. When diesel fuel becomes too scarce, mowing fields will be done by hand or by cow and goat. The tractors will be used only for plowing – mowing vacant fields with machines will have to wait because the fuel to do it will be too precious. Hey, scythes are great exercise while driving tractors are not. Welcome to the world made by hand and fields cut by hand.

        • Paula D October 23, 2022 at 11:46 am #

In 2012 there was a massive drought in the midwest and all the crops died.
But then they “harvested” them anyway. WTF? What a massive waste of fuel.
So I asked a farmer why and he said that the insurance companies demanded it so that they could prove that they didn’t get a crop.

This year we had a mini-crop and the soybean field next to my house struggled.
I notice that they still haven’t ”harvested” it, although they have been harvesting other fields that did better.

Maybe the insurance money isn’t worth the fuel cost.

          • Paula D October 23, 2022 at 2:49 pm #

            Mini drought, that is.

    • Anthea October 22, 2022 at 4:11 pm #

The derivation of shibboleth is a Bibilical passage:

When the Ephraimites from the west invaded Gilead, and were defeated by the Gileadites under the leadership of Jephthah, and tried to escape by the “passages of the Jordan,” the Gileadites seized the fords and would allow none to pass who could not pronounce “shibboleth” with a strong aspirate. This the fugitives were unable to do. They said “sibboleth,” as the word was pronounced by the tribes on the west, and thus they were detected (Judg. 12:1-6 ). Forty-two thousand were thus detected, and

“Without reprieve, adjudged to death, For want of well-pronouncing shibboleth.”

A whole quiver of arrows for Gustaph: Ancient Chinese Legalism:

(Shang jun shu 7: 51–53; Book of Lord Shang 7.1). At the earlier stages of human history, the people could be constrained by moral suasion; yet this was simply because that was the age of relative abundance: “Formerly… the people cut trees and slaughtered animals [for food]; the people were few, whereas trees and animals plenty. … Men plowed to obtain food, women wove to obtain clothing; [the ruler] used neither punishments nor regulations, but there was order” (Shang jun shu 18: 107; Book of Lord Shang 18.1). Han Fei echoes Shang Yang: in the remote past “the people were few whereas goods were plenty; hence people did not compete” (Han Feizi 49: 443). Now, this age of primeval morality has gone forever. Both thinkers emphasize the devastating impact of demographic growth on human mores. “Nowadays, five children are not considered too many, and each child also has five children; the grandfather is still alive, and he already has twenty-five grandchildren. Therefore, the people are plenty whereas commodities and goods are few; people work laboriously, but provisions are scanty; hence the people compete” (Han Feizi 49: 443). Under these new circumstances, moral norms are no longer relevant; contention is the rule, and it can be quelled only through coercion.

Jarek: The American Evangelical “quiver full movement” is about the opposite: Having many arrows or children, a whole quiver or house full.

We need many warriors to defend our race. There are many ways to pop the population balloon. Why not blow it up until it pops? Our arrows will kill many of the enemy before they are killed.

    • gustafson.robert.22 October 22, 2022 at 10:10 pm #

      Interesting stuff.

I’m fine with violent resolutions, with depopulation via natural channels. I tend to think no amount of programmatic depopulation would ever supplant future resolutions through conflict. Lately, I’m enjoying arguing for programmatic depopulation because it in many ways seems the most rational active response to contemporary issues. But, I’m no big believer in authoritarian projects or global “collective action.”

Still believe I’d support a global, organized depopulation effort if a movement ever coalesced.

      • Blackbird October 22, 2022 at 10:51 pm #

Exactly! We should kill each other rather than let some dipstick Masters of the Universe decide who dies and when.

But yeah, if we could do constructive, forward-looking things cooperatively, that would be cool too…

      • Woodchuck October 23, 2022 at 10:50 am #

Deadly famines that kill millions are part of what happens when the Jacobin Communists take over and interfere in such a way that there’s no food. Right now, this process is ongoing with shutting farms down and making agricultural chemicals like fertilizers unavailable. Three situations will cause the depopulation. War, pestilence, and famine. We have all three going on right now and this is just the beginning. Very likely, the events written about in the Bible concerning our future are true.

I have mixed feelings about Russia. My father was born there, my grandmother lived there half her life. The part the 20th century that was a communistic dictatorship wasn’t to my liking, nor was the historical anti-semitism.

I’ve known many Russians. The ones I’ve known have been friendly, but they all had a dark, cynical nature (read Russian literature). All-in-all, except for the anti-semitism, they seem to be good persons, albeit very tough. Their musical history is exceptional.

Regarding the Ukraine situation, I’m entirely on the Russian side. I trust Putin as far as I can throw him, but the Russians have been screwed since 2014 when the US broke their word about expanding next door. That is despicable. We almost had a nuclear war in 1962 when Russia tried the same thing – and we threw a shitfit. I still remember watching Adlai Stevenson on tv doing a number on the Russians in the UN. He was great. The Russians seemed embarrassed, having been caught with their hands in the cookie jar. Now we’re doing the same thing, but the world has changed, and TPTB have no morals and don’t care who knows.

    Re: culture wars.

I had black Facebook friends for a long time, who I had no problem with until the last few years.
The 1619 Project really did a job on some people. All of a sudden people who were rational became unhinged because of the overwhelming propaganda.

I unfriended and even blocked, and I don’t block easily.

It occurs to me that the battle of the sexes is taking the same route.

I don’t remember Vlad being as hateful to women as he is now, for instance. I think it’s years of propaganda working on him.

I don’t know about Soul Forensics, he’s new to me, but he sure has an excess of hate built up, which is obvious when he spews forth. I’m thinking it’s media driven.

Why can’t we all just get along?

Hint: Because our overlords don’t want solidarity among the proles.

    • MaryQueen October 22, 2022 at 10:31 pm #

Great points. I also noticed this change to absolute loathing of women out of those 2, as well as a few others here.

And yes, it’s media driven. Every day there are crimes by women boosted while crimes by men are ignored, among myriad other ruses.

Jarek, as I’ve mentioned before, seems to have almost no human contact–and even little or no engagement with the hands-on living of life: no useful or productive work, no responsibility for the well being of others. So both the knowledge and skills are missing. His ideas have been formed, not by living and doing, but by a collection of second- and third-hand chatter (the promotions of interested parties) that he read somewhere or other in the media. Seriously, a person might just as well form his world-view by playing video games. Kind of a classic case of living in Mom’s basement.

I haven’t taken enough note of Soul Forensics’s posts to get a sense of who he is, though there does seem to be a very deep animosity for, not just women, but also for children and families–to the point of sitting around restaurants (apparently alone) seething with hatred at the mere sight of a young family.

It goes without saying that a person who will not engage with human life–or, in the case of Soul Forensics, a person who has an abhorrence for it–is probably a poor choice of information and ideas for the promotion of human well being.

Then you have gustafson, whose view is that humanity’s interests would be best served by getting rid of most of humanity–a project that is impossible through humane methods.

These guys really hate people. Hence, I would not give much credence to their views on what might be beneficial to humanity.

        • MaryQueen October 23, 2022 at 10:48 am #

Very astute observations. I agree Jarek lives in a basement of the mind, that’s for sure.

As a gregarious sort myself, who has always been working and socializing, I can tell Jarek would not fit into most social situations, nor would Soul Forensics.

And also agree about the porn. Funny how both are aligned with the trans agenda in that regard.

          • Jarek October 23, 2022 at 1:17 pm #

So true. What most people gab about is of little interest to the intelligent. And what I have to say is of little or no interest to them.

Thus you have marked yourself as one of the hoi polloi. I agree with your self assessment in this case.

Of course this is only a partial truth since you are hiding what you really believe in most situations. They men would loathe you if they knew what you really believe about them.

Anthea has said that fathers have no rights whatsoever. They are just sperm donors and of course, wallets.

She pretends to be some kind of traditional American but the above gives the lie to that. She is for Matriarchy and Big Government and thus completely at odds with the Old America and Western Culture.

          • Anthea October 23, 2022 at 9:54 pm #

            @ Jarek:

Oh, no–not for Big Government at all.

Am I in favor of matriarchy? I’d say I’m in favor of decision-making being reposed in those individuals who have demonstrated their competence (by doing the actual work), who have taken responsibility, and who actually give a shit. Usually, those people will be women.

If you think about it, you have none of these qualifications. Your apparent lack of engagement either with people or engagement in productive work is probably because you know very well that if you tried to do anything, your lack of skill and knowledge would be exposed, and if you tried to engage with other people, your inferiority to most of them would be exposed. It’s a lot easier preen and put on airs if you carefully avoid any situation in which you would be found out.

You don’t avoid people because they are unintelligent; you avoid them because you know very well that many of them are far better people than you are–more capable, more productive, more responsible–and this realization would be a blow to your vanity.

          • Anthea October 23, 2022 at 10:08 pm #

            @ Jarek:

It’s kind of like the person who joins the church choir and then quits because they discover that everyone else is a much better singer. The reason they’re better is because they’ve been showing up for years. The solution is to start showing up for life, even though it is likely to involve some blows to your ego.

          • MaryQueen October 23, 2022 at 10:17 pm #

Some of us are able to show up, work hard, mess up, fail, and try again.

I really don’t get that impression at all. It actually makes me wonder what kind of men ya’ll have come across in ya’lls experiences.

The subject of the word y’all was covered in a NYT article a couple of days ago. The first thing I noticed is that the correct spelling of the term is y’all not ya’ll. It pointed out that y’all is used in certain places in the south* while “you guys” is used in the northeast regardless of the gender of the people being addressed. There was a time when females were never referred to as guys but that has changed.

I was disappointed that the article did not mention the related locution “all y’all” which, to me, is sort of a double pluralization.

            * Oddly (or perhaps not oddly) “you guys” has supplanted “y’all” in the Miami area because of the great influx of people there from the northeast.

Well thank you for all the factoids Q and for the spelling correction. I don’t really consider Florida, especially South Florida to be Southern anyway. But the demographic shift is real and is happening here too. And thank you for admitting to me this way that yes indeed you are a colonizer lol. It’s ok. Not all of y’all are so bad.

“Dude” – usually as Dude! – is also an all-gender term now. Originally mostly a west coast thing, it has also spread pretty widely.

As to y’all, that just stands to reason, since it’s a contraction of “you all,” and the ‘ou’ in you is the part that’s being contracted out; hence, y’all.

“All y’all’s” a distinctive southern flourish. I remember hearing and using that phrase often during my 7 years living in south Georgia in the 80’s. “All y’all listen up!” was a common phrase heard almost everyday at shift change in the USAF. The old-school black southern tongue of that time was so distinctive as to be almost a language of it’s own, even before rapper/ghetto speak changed the landscape altogether.

You’re subservient to men, so I’m guessing you get along with most of them just fine.

We independent sorts have to deal with lots of attempts to control us, and that’s where some of the problems lie.

There aren’t enough men who have high enough self esteem to have an equal partnership without trying to control women, and so there are slim pickins.

Which is fine with me, since I treasure my independence and don’t care to have a male partner.

I also suspect that much of their world view comes from viewing porn.

Yes, there is nothing like porn to reduce women to mere objects.

Agree about gustafson too – wow. He doesn’t want to volunteer to off himself for the planet, just wants other people to die or be aborted.

So there is no problem of over-population? You refuse to grapple with the hard questions. Most people do, especially women.

Gustaf is one of the few who is willing to really look and then propose possible solutions.

Like Night Owl says, you’re going to have to prove that there are too many people.

I think resources are not allocated correctly, and that’s a bigger issue.

I don’t buy into simplistic (and inhumane) solutions to the problem, if it is one, in any case.

As Paula mentions below, there are tons of ways to reduce population that doesn’t include inciting more abortions or causing people to choose a male child over a female, and putting her into an orphanage.
