When you think of the US Supreme Court, it’s probably the image of its august Greco-Roman façade, expressing the conjoined ideas of democracy (ancient Greece) and a republic (classical Rome). Or else, you might imagine the grand courtroom inside — always featured in drawings, because photos aren’t allowed — which is the ultimate performance space for the law of the land. But there must be quite a backstage area, offices for the justices and their clerks, and surely some kind of boardroom, or even a comfy lounge full of overstuffed leather club chairs, a fireplace, and a sideboard with the cut-crystal sherry bottle. Would you suppose that the nine justices, or, at least the two divisions of them, get together there and palaver informally over dockets and cases? I would.
Now imagine they are palavering over the current case at hand brought by Texas with what… eighteen other states now, plus the president, in for backup? Is the court really reluctant to take the case, as the media gossip says? Maybe. But if they do take it, would they eventually rule to not disturb the current disposition of the election — even as alleged to be rife with ballot fraud — out of fear of venturing into a constitutional wilderness, as other gossip has it? Maybe. But what happens then…?
Hey, whatever you think of Donald Trump, he has been POTUS for four years, with access to a whole lot of non-public information about his colleagues in government, including who among them have been playing footsie with the tentacles of China, and lots more. Accordingly, and prompted by four years of non-stop seditious harassment by a deranged Democratic Party, would you suppose he had a plan to meet some version of what played out on November 3? I would.
I would suppose, for instance, that Mr. Trump’s military intelligence allies saw, in real time on election night, all the packets of internet data that Dominion vote tabulation machines in the USA sent across the Atlantic to the Dominion server lodged in the CIA’s Frankfurt, Germany, cyberwarfare station. This, you understand, when those Dominion machines in the USA were forbidden by law to be connected to the Internet. If you’re a regular reader here, you will recall the recent report of a US Army special forces operation going into the Frankfurt CIA station directly after the election and seizing servers there. Assume that they underwent forensic dissection afterward. If you were President DJ Trump, would you suspect that the CIA might be playing dangerous games with you (and by extension, the nation)? Are you aware that China has a 75 percent investment stake in the holding company that now owns Dominion? Are there grounds to suppose that China somehow interfered in the election? With assistance from an eager Democratic Party and the CIA?
Would Mr. Trump, of all people, let such a thing stand? Especially considering the evidence that the putative “winner” of the election, Joe Biden, the kid from Scranton, PA, was up to his eyeballs, with the rest of his family, in Chinese funny-money? (Not to mention money from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Russia, and other lands?) Note: information about this evidence gleaned from Hunter Biden’s forgotten laptop was deliberately suppressed in October by the major newspapers and cable news stations, with help from Facebook, Twitter, and Google, along with a claque of “fifty former and current intel officials” led John Brennan, who denounced the reports from The New York Post in a public letter as “Russian disinformation” — yet another seditious conspiracy among the swamplings.
Are you aware that in the weeks since the election there have been unusual movements of US military aircraft around the country, including C-130 “Hercules” troop carrier planes? And that the navy has two carrier groups out along the Pacific Coast and three strung along the Atlantic coast? That’s what I hear. Remember, the president cleaned house at the top of the Pentagon this fall, and probably not for nothing. Sounds like preparation for something… some extraordinary executive action to prevent the national security risk known as Joe Biden from being sworn-in as president — in the absence of anything else in a strictly constitutional way that would keep that from happening, like a Supreme Court decision that would order the rare passing on of the disputed 2020 election to the House of Representatives for resolution, with a strong statistical likelihood that the body would re-elect Mr. Trump.
These are the sorts of things I imagine the Supreme Court justices might be palavering about and weighing over their sherry in the comfortable back room of their august clubhouse. There is, of course, the likelihood that such a momentous decision to send the vote to the House would provoke a violent, batshit crazy response from the Democratic Party’s street warriors, BLM and Antifa — thus the C-130 flights perhaps deploying troops around the country. This time, expect the Black Blocs to get their asses kicked, and swiftly. Expect also a mind-blowing raft of arrests of political celebrities on charges like treason. Does it sound like a bad dream? Yeah, kind of does. But there it is.

In the case of the election, if Trump and those who support The Republic and The Constitution win at the Supreme Court the matters will probably be thrown back to the various state legislators where they will have to choose the Electors themselves. Blood may run in the aisles of some state houses from the brawls that break out. I would leave the ties at home.
If either the states overturn fraudulent voting and send Trump Electors to Congress or the SC orders Congress to decide the election, that “force or character” that saves us in our dreams will be the truth.
But in order for the truth to be seen by the People, many forces will have to be overcome to make that happen. Brennan and his ilk at CNN, MSDNC, ABC, NBC, Wapo, NYT, Twitter and Facebook will have to be forced to show the evidence The Supreme Court based it’s findings on. Somehow, the censorship will have to be stopped possibly by Presidential Executive Order? Section 230 protections stopped for Big Tech?
I believe the truth will be freedoms most important ally in this fight, but the MSM and Big Tech will have to have their noses cut off to get it to the American people in time to stop riots, looting, burning and chaos in our streets.

You forget to mention that a Biden administration ensures the destruction of the Supreme Court. Those 9 justices wield a lot of power and probably do not want that power diluted by each administration adding more and more justices.
If the Supreme Court doesn’t fix this mess then they, themselves, face destruction. That is what they are talking about in their back rooms.

If there is one thing Roman Catholics value it is institutional stability. The Supreme Court is essentially Roman Catholic now and Joe Biden is at least nominally so. The easiest think for the SC to do now is reject the Texas lawsuit and not rock the boat for a couple of years. They take a very long view, so there is no hurry if they have a conservative “agenda”. Court packing will not be at the top of the Biden action item list next year unless there is a provocation.
As for aircraft carriers, the sailors are still furious with the Trump administration for the lousy treatment Captain Crozier received when he had to beg for help on the USS Theodore Roosevelt. The military, which is now only approximately 50% white male, will not necessarily jump at the chance to aid in overturning an election. It’s not something they train for.
Maybe its time to move on to something that is actually happening, like the implosion of the fracking and coal industries and the energy hegemony the Saudis and Russians will have when the frackers have all gone bankrupt and nobody wants to bail them out.

Aircraft carriers carry lots of fighter jets. Ever behold a low altitude fighter jet flyover? Shock and awe on steroids. And regarding Posse Comitatus, I’m sure it would present no impediment depending on the legal classification of the reason for the action. Dealing with sedition, treason and insurrection are not in the realm of traditional law enforcement.

The Supreme Court will not interfere with election results and Uncle Joe will take office on Jan. 20. Trump will continue efforts to question the results and deligitimize the Biden administration and further his aims, whatever they might be. The Republicans will be glad to be rid of Trump and try to move on from his spell. The next four years will see even more deconstruction of the ‘Republic’ and life will be even more tenuous for the public. Then, there will be a very serious implosion of the global financial system and all bets are off.

Something like that. It is near certain that SCOTUS will walk away from the Texas case no matter how many red states join. I don’t think any of the conservative judges on the court would muster the courage to blow up the election swindle, even if there was a prima facie constitutional case. If I were to bet I would say that the court will hear it and decide by a great majority that the only admissible complainant in a case of unconstitutional change of a state’s election rules would be the state’s legislature. As for a military coup, well, it’s like Jim says, life is really like bad dream. Sometimes.
I wouldn’t bet against you. Trump has uncovered the corruption in all of our institutions and the Nine Ringwraiths may be next.
And in the process, they will make themselves irrelevant and give Trump the green light to cross the Rubicon with the Legions. It may be for the best. American needs a complete overhaul.

Another clear example is the Texas lawmaker who wants to strip down castle doctrine to the point that you should be required to exhaust all options including fleeing (or attempting to flee) your residence before being legally able to use lethal force if a criminal breaks into your home to steal something (or whatever else they may have in mind). Because “stealing isn’t worth a death sentence” (which I can’t argue with, but how the hell are you to know at 2am if the person is just in need of your flat screen to pay their rent?)
I’m more concerned about the 6-10% of the criminals that are pathological. The instances when they have no intention of just taking something from you…but intend to rape, murder and maim. We are now attempting to protect the criminals over the law-abiding.

It seems people are less confrontational face-to-face than they are in comments sections. My friends and I often disagree, at times to the point of lobbing insults. But we remain friends and find enough to agree on to remain cordial. I would like to think things are less heated than would appear on our computer screens.

Got together to play golf in June, I suck, no biggie. There are carts, laughs and beer. All good. But within 20 minutes someone brought up George Floyd and what’s wrong with us all. One of my more conservative buddies just asked a question about the details of the situation and was “politely” shouted down by another friend regarding “how would you understand that?” I did my best to calmly say “You haven’t even let him finish his question.” He backed down and we went on with our fine day. But it’s weird to be on eggshells for shit over which we have no control.
Our society has gone insane. Some are more afflicted by the collective madness than others. The sought-after radical equality is an impossible dream. It’s at the root essence of this bad collective dream. The “how would you understand that?” self-flagellators aren’t entirely wrong about the plight of the black race in America, about it’s being surrounded by an invisible force-field of unbearable Whiteness, projecting by turns the emotions of indifference, fear, disdain, & sometimes (rarely) actual hostility, but the only sane solution, that of separation, seems to escape both the Woke & the Folk alike. That will change gradually, then suddenly.

Guy got arrrested and was told he could no longer surf there. He still did, apparently he got arrested again and went to jail. Was that you?? Just kidding, or maybe it was? This is a feature of collective fantasy. It seems that they get so carried away in their ‘dream’ that they do not think about later consequences. It seems to be an intoxication.
Now I must think of some examples. Here goes.
1 Christian Drosten, whose team in Berlin developed the infamous virus test, within days of learning of developments in Wuhan (via social media), was the subject of dogged amateur enquiries as to his doctoral thesis. There was no record of it. Then suddenly, it showed up together with a shaggy dog story about a flood where all the copies had been damaged and with several serious irregularities, making it look as if the universities were covering up for him. Then it turns out he did not need to write a thesis at all because there was a new regulation that allowed three published articles to substitute. Trouble is, this regulation came in after he supposedly wrote his thesis, he was only a secondary author in at least one of the three articles and, of course, why did he bother to write a thesis if he did not need to?
2 Dr Andrew Wakefield was struck off by the GMC in the biggest and longest case it ever took. So was leading world authority on children’s gastric illness Prof. John Walker-Smith. The latter got funding to fight his case (Wakefiled could not) and won. The judgment was scathing of the GMC. It had failed to have due regard to the Prof’s expert testimony and was guilty of “wrong reasoning”. Wrong reasoning!
3 Cases taken against high-profile figures in moral panics (eg Cardinal Pell, Bishiop Bell, Fr Paul Shanley and Portugues ‘Mr Television’ Carlos cruz) routinely are laughably shaky. Three of the four accusers of Shanely (in the Boston scandal) saw their cases collapse and be withdrawn on the eve of the trial while the fourth witness had to be persuaded to proceed. 42 counts against Cruz were withdrawn during the trial because they did not stand up And so on and so on.
4 Michael Mann’s hockey stick graph (random data churned out hockey sticks 999 times out of a thousand), Niall Frerguson’s model predicting half a million ‘Covid’ deaths in Britain was equally amateurish, using an obsolete spreadsheet and riddled with data. Drosten’s test (on which about 70% of tests are based around the world) was rushed and riddled with errors. The short spike in mortaity around the world was most likely down to medical error: the anti-virals and other treatments were killing patients. (The same thing happened with AZT and AIDS: those who refused the drug survived.) It looks like the WHO made a terrible blunder in its guidance (under the ‘Reovery’ study, which was carried out in hospitals in April, in GB, France, Belgium, Brazil and elsewhere) in that four times the lethal dose of DCQ was given (it seems that they had mixed it up with dioxyquinoline, which is used in larger doses for quite separate diseases.)

On Saturday, January 6, 2007, Christian and Newsom planned to go out for dinner together and then attend a friend’s party. That afternoon, Christian went to a friend’s apartment to get ready. Newsom arrived and he and Christian went to the apartment complex parking lot. The [four] assailants then attacked the couple, forced them into the backseat of Christian’s SUV at gunpoint, tied their hands behind their backs, abducted them, and took them to Davidson’s house.
Both Christian [female] and Newsom [male] were raped. Newsom is believed to have been raped inside Davidson’s house. According to the testimony of the Knox County Acting Medical Examiner, Newsom was sodomized with an object and raped by a person. He was then taken to a set of railroad tracks where he was murdered.
Prosecutors believe a mangled dog leash found on a hillside leading up to the railroad tracks was used to force Newsom to walk to his death. When Newsom was murdered, his hands were bound behind his back and his feet were bound together. He was blindfolded with a bandana and gagged with a sock. He wore only a shirt, t-shirt, and underwear. Newsom was shot in the back of the head, the neck, and the back. The fatal shot was fired with the muzzle of the gun against his head above his right ear and severed his brain stem. After killing Newsom, the assailants set his body on fire.
Christian was held prisoner inside Davidson’s house, mostly in the north bedroom. Prosecutors believe Coleman held Christian captive while the male offenders were murdering Newsom.
The medical examiner testified that Christian died after hours of sexual torture, sustaining traumatic brain injuries and suffering severe injuries to her vagina, anus, and mouth due to repeated sexual assaults. Her injuries were consistent with being raped with an object.
According to the medical examiner, the sexual attack Christian endured was “extreme” and “much more than a simple sexual assault.” Prosecutors believe that Christian was tied to a chair and orally raped by Davidson and Cobbins.
Christian was also anally and vaginally raped. She was also beaten and kicked in her vagina and beaten on the head. Christian suffered extensive hemorrhaging to her head and vaginal area. Additionally, Christian suffered bruises and carpet burns on much of her body.

Christian was bound in a hog-tied fashion with curtains and strips of bedding. Her face was tightly covered with a small trash bag and her body was stashed in five large trash bags.
Christian, who was naked except for her camisole and sweater, was tied in a fetal position and placed inside a residential waste disposal unit and covered with sheets. The medical examiner testified at trial there was evidence that Christian slowly suffocated to death.
Christian died between the afternoon of January 7 and the afternoon of January 8. As Christian was suffocating to death, Davidson left to spend time with his girlfriend and gave her Christian’s personal items. Davidson also used Newsom’s cellphone and was seen wearing Newsom’s shoes.

I am pretty sure that is one of the cases that Colin Flaherty reminds his listeeners of from time to time. It is difficult to remember examples of black on white rapes and murders because there are so many of them, each more horrifying than the other. But the main reason of the environmental disaster that large chunks of the Earth have become is “too many of us”. Not so much here in the US. We’re not overpopulated yet, in most of the country. But everyone in the world wants to consume at the same clip, and that’s simply not sustainable. We’ll buy us time to re-adapt to the reality of a finite, exhausted planet if we can find a way to reduce the population significantly over a couple of generations. Also useful would be a renaissance of Stoic thought, frugality, grow-your-own and do-it-yourself. Fat chance, I know.

The judges and officials investigating these claims have found nothing that would hold up in court. Federal judges appointed by presidents of both parties have uniformly thrown out all of the election challenge cases. Are all of these judges blind or are they part of an anti-Trump conspiracy?

It is about the power to make electoral law.
In the states, only legislatures can make electoral law. Not Governors, Secretaries of States, Election Commissions, judges or justices, lawyers in private consent decrees, nor local officials such as county clerks.
None of these people or groups can make or change or waive election laws.
There is nothing here for the SCOTUS to debate. They will rule for Texas.

In Pennsylvania, Speaker of the House Bryan Cutler is blocking the state legislature from meeting to challenge the election results.
There are enough co-sponsors behind the resolution for it to pass, which would mean Trump’s Electoral College electors would be certified. But Cutler is demanding that the state legislature adjourn instead.

The wheels of genuine US intel against national security threats still turned in spite of whatever Deep State perfidy had been aimed at Mr. Trump himself from Day One in office, and the president made use of his own private counter-intel hackers to suss out the game — which was finally to overthrow him by ballot fraud. The result was Executive Order 13848 issued in September 2020, which specified foreign interference in elections as “an unusual and extraordinary threat to national security” and laid out some pretty stringent remedies.

Mr. Cohen-Watnick had been an assistant to General Michael Flynn, former Director of Defense Intelligence, in his brief tenure as National Security Advisor before getting sandbagged by Barack Obama and James Comey.
Both Mr. Cohen-Watnick and General Flynn are intimately familiar with the apparatus of Defense Intelligence, of course, and have been actively using it to identify DNC and Joe Biden activists who played a role in election irregularities as well as foreign actors. This wasn’t any RussiaGate type bullshit; it was the real deal. EO 13848 includes this provision:
The report shall identify any material issues of fact with respect to these matters that the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security are unable to evaluate or reach agreement on at the time the report is submitted. The “remedial actions” are interesting. They include pretty severe sanctions against any “persons” (entity or company) involved in or enabling foreign interference in elections: attaching property in the US, blocking trade, and an array of financial restrictions and penalties. The EO does not spell out criminal penalties that might fall under the sedition and treason statutes, but expect these to be activated as the law provides. Quite a few political celebrities and figures in the news and social media may have exposed themselves to liability in this. If it doesn’t mean the end of Facebook or Twitter, it may spell the end of Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey running them. Also include the less-well-known execs at The WashPo, The New York Times, and several cable news networks.
Eventually, Mr. Trump will have to personally deliver the bad news to Joe Biden that he and Dr. Jill won’t be attending the inaugural ball on January 20 (live or on Zoom). Sound too wild to be true? Well, stand by on it. We’ll know soon enough.

What Would Invoking Insurrection Act Look Like?
As students of U.S. history know, in 1878, Congress enacted the Posse Comitatus Act, aimed at preventing federal troops from interfering with elections in Southern states during the period of Reconstruction following the Civil War.
But the Posse Comitatus Act didn’t repeal the above-quoted section 252 of the Insurrection Act. Regardless, Trump could invoke the Insurrection Act surgically, not to redo the election in all 50 states, or even in the six swing states in dispute.
Instead, he could simply invoke the Insurrection Act to have U.S. armed forces seize control of crucial electoral evidence—ballots, envelopes, and Dominion voting machines and servers—and order the military to conduct an immediate and thorough forensic audit of the votes, so that all lawful ballots are counted, and unlawful ballots are disqualified, in strict accordance with prevailing state law.
Notably, this would be a very surgical and nontactical use of the military; no force would be used against any U.S. citizens. The armed forces would merely be taking hold of crucial evidence before it’s destroyed or otherwise tampered with, and running an independent forensic audit to both determine lawful versus unlawful ballots—again in strict accordance with prevailing state law—and to manually count those ballots. Given our experiences of the past four years, neither the DOJ nor FBI should be anywhere near this process. They simply cannot be trusted.
The object of such a surgical military intervention would be to take the burden off the struggling courts and state legislatures to make sure all legal votes were counted and no illegal votes were counted—in the six involved states. The president would presumably pledge to be bound by the results of the military audit. Hopefully, Biden would as well.
The object of the intervention would be to stop the insurrection—which very well may involve foreign actors, given the voting machine vulnerabilities—as well as preventing the disenfranchisement of lawful voters, and restoring the confidence of U.S. voters (and the world) in the integrity of U.S. elections.
Without this limited military intervention, a cloud would hang over whoever is ultimately elected president, and the United States could never again complain, on the world stage, of a rigged communist election.
An interesting idea. I suspect an invocation of the Insurrection Act would be subverted by generals and admirals who owe their advancement to the Obama, Bush, and Clinton cliques.
Trump would have to fire every officer of flag rank and promote a great many more reliable captains, majors, and colonels who still believe in our constitution and their oaths in order to be successful.
In the end, I suspect that the military will be as reluctant to be dragged into this partisan fight as the folks in the black robes have been. The 74 million of us who are being disenfranchised by this fraudulent election are essentially on our own.
Best bet: Focus on the state level. Now is the time to start pressuring your Red State elected officials to start gearing up to resist Biden the Usurper and the California Whore.

Of course, should there be a breakaway, those who voted for Biden in those states would not get a voice. I doubt it will happen, though.

Actually, no. I have never had a dream involving a cliff as you describe. Almost all of my dreams are similar in that I am trying to get somewhere or accomplish something but I just can’t seem to do it. It is just one frustration after another. Yep. The Constitution plainly states that only the state legislature can make election law.
The four states are plainly in breach of that Constitutional provision as they tolerated others to make such law in their states.
When one party is in breach of contract, surely other parties to that contract have standing to sue!
If not, then what is the value of the contract?
How come none of Trump’s legal team thought to take such claims to the respective state courts? That would have been a good starting point for them. Instead, they wait until the last minute to try to get the Supreme Count to hear the case from another state which shouldn’t get involved in such matters.
Just give it up and come back in another four years if you think Trump is worth your devotion.

The Nation is desperate need of their office – and in their arrogance, the Supremes made getting an appointment into an Eye of the Needle situation. They casually brushed aside some odd seventy million plus voters and seventeen states. They’re a fucking joke.

The Supreme Court is only supposed to issue legal opinions. And in the instance of the Texas lawsuit, the Court did not even address the merits of the case whatsoever. When there is only coercion of government and no consent in government there is no sustainability. A stable society is an accepted balance of consent and coercion. I am just a little confused about where we want all this to take us;
Result #1– Trump presents evidence of treason by Democrats and proves widespread election fraud. Election is awarded to Trump.
Outcome#1–Approximately half of the electorate did not vote for Trump. They perceive that the election has been stolen from them, and they are very upset. They start acting out in ways that are sometimes violent.
Result #2– It turns out that there is actually no evidence of election fraud. With the support of some of the US Military, Trump attempts to seize power.
Outcome#2–Lasting civil war in the US leads to lasting violent conflict, the complete destruction of the US economy, and loss of US influence throughout the world. Foreign powers find it in their interest to fund certain sides of the new Civil War.
Do any of us really want either of these two outcomes? Before World War I, the French and the Germans both assumed that they were inevitably headed for war, to the extent that French freight cars were stenciled ’40 men or 8 horses.’ The conversations here sort of have that look and feel. Can Civil War II be avoided?
Of course there are other possibilities–
Result #3– Trump’s election initiatives go nowhere. Biden is sworn in as US President, but without violent protest.
(Most Likely) Outcome#3–
Biden and Harris create policies that speed the collapse of the US Economy (and with it the Global Economy) that was going to happen anyway. The resulting hardships are attributed to Democrats and Progressives.
Would Result #3 really be so bad?
Civil War will not result if the Constitution is followed.
In this case so far, it clearly has not been.
So Trump’s juridicial remedies are near to exhaustion. But not his Constitutional remedies. He and his partisans can still, as I have noted above, and should on Jan 6 refuse to accept the electors of the prodigal states. This would force a contingent election.
This is entirely constitutional.
But if that is to work for Trump, the Congress must be shown that the result as produced in the prodigal states was corrupt, which it was.
Already, a very large swathe of the electorate, in fact a number perhaps approaching a super-majority, are convinced that the 2020 election was corrupt. Look how many state legislatures sided with Texas in their brief.
The next really controversial step will follow the issuance of the report for EO13848 no later than Dec 18.
If the report produces convincing evidence of the alleged corruption, in particular if it finds that an unlawful combination, or conspiracy [has] hinder[ed] the execution of the laws of a State and the laws of the United States to the point where the people are deprived of a right, privilege or immunity, or other named constitutional right, and where the authorities of the State fail, or are unable to protect that right, privilege or immunity,, then Trump is entitled to declare the operation of the Insurrection Act and act against these combinators and conspirators.
Such proof and action would set the scene for, on Jan 6, the entirely lawful declination of the electors of the prodigal or corrupted states and restitution of the rule of law through a contingent election.
If this all happens, then it should not mean civil war, as it simply follows the law and the Constitution, but it is history book stuff and will absolutely produce the media shitstorm of all time.

Is this really worth the risk of taking this vaccine?

So you have to ask: why is it so important to them that you take this vaccine?

I don’t know where those figures come from. Reporting is variable around the world. Using the Worldometers site (the Johns Hopkins site has similar numbers but doesn’t show the active cases), the US has about 10 million cases that have been resolved there are (about 6.5 million active cases). Of those 10 million, 300,000 have died from the disease, which is 3%. Of the recovered cases, there is no information about long term damage.
Regarding vaccines, they are not a cure, so it’s not surprising that it has no effect on the recovery rate.
