       Surely it was the right thing to do for President “Joe Biden” to remind the nation of the tragic loss of George Floyd four years ago this Memorial Day weekend. At the time, the man known as “the Black Thomas Edison” was rumored to be this close to achieving an economically viable system for producing electricity via atomic fusion using the fentanyl molecule (C22H28N2O) combined with the nuclei of alcohol (C2H6O), releasing enough energy from one gram to power a city the size of Minneapolis for a day. The math he left behind on his chalkboard spells it out:

      You see how that works? Alas, Dr. Floyd had apparently ingested a small amount of these experimental substances accidently before leaving his lab May 25, 2020, when he encountered the white supremacist police officer Derek Chauvin outside a Cup Foods convenience store in Minneapolis’s “Powderhorn” neighborhood. For reasons never understood, despite manifold judicial inquiries, the officer dragged the Great Man out of his car — where he was polishing some of the requisite algebra in his notebook — and for no reason at all placed one knee, and all his weight, on Dr. Floyd’s neck, constricting his airway and causing his death. The nation erupted in violence, and you know the rest of the story: no cheap energy for you, you nation of white supremacist asswipes!

      And so it has gone since that fateful day: one darn thing after another. Luckily though — and with a little help from Mark Zuckerberg’s Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) — the vigilant “Joe Biden” presides in the White House, keeping America safe for democracy, by democracy, and of democracy. The country has never experienced so much democracy. The Brookings Institution even warns that the country might be close to a democracy overload, in which the popular will is so immense that everyone in all fifty states thinks the same morally correct thoughts all day long without giving offense or making any space unsafe or dis-including any diverse category of human (except white supremacists) from his, her, or they’s share of the nation’s limitless wealth.

       “Joe Biden” has been especially effective at containing the Grand Golem of all white supremacists, Trump, from deconstructing our utopian democracy. This Trump uttered perfidious misinformation that the 2020 election was less than fair and upright. He is under indictment in Fulton County, GA, for conspiring to transmit this incorrect thinking to other white supremacists and creating an unsafe space for GA Sec’y of State Brad Raffensperger by asking him to “find” additional votes. What log was Bradraff supposed to look under, anyway (ha ha!)?

     The case is being guided by Fulton County DA, the indomitable Fani Willis, at least for now, as she awaits a process known as getting the bidness from a white supremacist so-called ethics committee in the Georgia State Senate, where she has been falsely accused of mis-spending state money on vacations with erstwhile special prosecutor Nathan Wade. These trips were, of course, fact-finding efforts. One fact found is that the white supremacist cruise ship directors attempt to kill black people by luring them into all-you-can-eat buffets at sea, from which escape is impossible.

     “Joe Biden” also got Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint Lawfare paladin Jack Smith to prosecute this nefarious Trump in the most upright of all federal court districts, Washington, DC, for instigating what “Joe Biden” recently called an “erection” against our democracy. Trump, you see, told a gigantic mob of white supremacists to penetrate our nation’s capitol building so as to obstruct certification of the 2020 electoral vote and murder then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi, if possible, along with all congresspersons of color. Legal experts at MSNBC, Andrew Weissmann (of the Mueller Special Counsel office) and Andy McCabe (former Deputy Director of the FBI), have already found this Trump guilty, and they know about these matters better than anybody, so the trial under Judge Tanya Chutkan may be unnecessary.

      Things are not going quite so well for SC Smith in the Martin County Federal Court of Judge Aileen Cannon, where this Trump stands accused of fobbing off with classified government documents, claiming some fabricated sort of presidential privilege — unlike “Joe Biden” who got his classified docs before he was president and therefore does not have to claim any such privilege (and was understandably “forgetful” when asked about the docs by the other SC Robert Hur). In any case, AG Garland can always dispatch an FBI SWAT team to Judge Cannon’s home to spur an attitude adjustment on the bench, if required.

      Hopes really rest, though, on the current case against the Grand Golem Trump in Judge Juan Merchan’s Manhattan courtroom, where the most supreme of all white supremacists stands accused of book-keeping irregularities in furtherance of federal crimes so unspeakable that they have never actually been spoken. The case, engineered by veteran DC Golem hunters Mary McCord, Norm Eisen, Lisa Monaco, and Matthew Colangelo, fronted by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, goes to the jury after final arguments this week.

     Judge Merchan is expected to instruct the jury to vote guilty because no other conclusion is possible. Thus, Judge Merchan will be celebrated far and wide for saving our democracy. But that’s not all. After the most excellent verdict of guilty X-23-Plus, he will have the pleasure of sentencing this Trump to life in the Rikers Island prison complex, where it will be difficult for the Grand Golem to organize any white supremacist activities and will be relegated to a diet of baloney sandwiches for the duration of his term.

      The only downside for this scenario is that Trump might get elected President of the USA despite conviction, and on January 20, 2025, commence operations to put “Joe Biden” and all the others in his train of officials in jail for the rest of their natural lives. You have to wonder if they’re thinking about that this holiday weekend.

        Are the American and Canadian Blob sharing one brain? It sure seems like it. They both seem to rely heavily on their Department of Made Up Problems to find new ways to appear relevant and both live in fear that a dangerous, common sense right-wing cabal led by Donald Trump and Pierre Poilievre will overthrow them and undo all their brilliant social engineering. Do you think the Washington blob gets possession of the Great Brain on odd-numbered days and the Ottawa blob uses it exclusively on even-numbered day? Inquiring minds want to know!

          They all attended the same meeting, I’m thinking it was one of the G7 meetings, several years ago, where “someone” told them how the world was going to proceed, and what they had to do to get their respective countries on board with the new “agenda.” I don’t believe this “someone” was a human being. Not an “alien,” either. I think they were given an example of what happens when you don’t play ball. I think what we in the western nations have been experiencing in the last ten years or more has been the implementation of that agenda.

          He did not lock her up.
          He did not drain the swamp.
          He appointed deep state swamp rats for every available role.
          He printed money like it was his job.
          He incessantly tweeted about what a great job he was doing.
          He spent his last 2 years defending himself against Russia, Russia, Russia and impeachments (2)
          He flattened the curve and appointed Fauci, Birx and those nazis.
          He destroyed the middle class with his lockdown.
          He appointed Rothschild banker Wilbur Ross commerce secretary.

          Trump is a populist which may be defined as spewing into a microphone anything the people want to hear. He’s not actually going to do any of the stuff he promises.

          How can you honestly think anything would change if Trump held office again?

            I respectfully disagree, @hmuller.

            Closing US military bases on foreign soil would be a masterstroke, changing the economy from broke to vibrant.

            Promoting regenerative farming methods and eliminating GMO would do more to improve the health of Americans than any single move.

            btw, GMO was introduced to prep the population for MRNA devastation – it’s in the documentation.

            I am listening to Kennedy’s stances on issues and not believing what the deep state loudspeaker blares about him. I still disagree with some of the stuff he says but the same can be said for anyone who ever ran for office.

            Remember the control that Paul Ryan had in the House as speaker? Ryan was the consummate RINO and blocked many of what Trump wanted to do.

            The DEMGOP opposition is meaningless, Trump had enough Never-Trumper RINOs in place to block most of what he wanted to do. That Uniparty, whose number one priority is self-preservation of the Deep State, came together to stop the upstart Trump.

            My conjecture is to have a DC that is anti-Deep State like Trump and would not block his work. It may be impossible.

            BUT, having him there to block the Deep State’s tax and spend inflationary agenda is a good thing.

            Saying that, he WAS weak against the medical Nazis with Covid. But again, what would have happened with a Clinton or Biden in there, the vaxx mandates happened on Biden’s watch, and remember that Trump tried to stop Chinese immigration during the Wuhan beginnings and he was attacked by the Wokesters and they just flooded in.

            95% of his agenda was blocked by the Uniparty control in DC, and the real damage as you noted were by wolves in sheeps clothing RINOs.

            Printed money? Like 1.4% inflation rate and the best unemployment of every category in history?

            As I keep saying, imagine the next 4 years with Biden or an equivalent before castigating Trump.

            Trump made one large, compounding mistake during his first Presidential term: listening to the advice of Swamp Rats, including lots of RINOs. It is not a mistake that he will make again.

            Every single “failure” of “Trump I” that you listed was directly a result of the entrenched Swamp determined to destroy him. Trump’s main priority if he is re-elected President is to destroy the Swamp and all of its evil tenants. Most of them are already exposed as the evil traitors that they are, now they must be individually and collectivity eliminated from any present or future position of power. My biggest fear is that Trump–who is not the mean, evil person that the media and Democrat scum portray him as being–will, in fact, be mean enough, ruthless enough, and vindictive enough to destroy the Socialist media and Democrat scum in the way that they so richly deserve.

            @socialishater – What you’re pointing out is true but it means that Trump is a lousy politician, incapable of keeping his promises. Nancy Pelosi publicly kicked his backside up one side of Pennsylvania Ave and down the other while he was president. Now he is just repeating the same stuff that got him elected the first time and yes, anyone who has seen the evidence knows he was robbed blind in 2020. But like in 2016, he is still incapable of doing what he says he is going to do. I am positive he has no intention of accomplishing anything but defending himself against future impeachments. He’s a distraction. The whole AHEM – outhouse is going down in flames and he will get the blame.

Team Trump will be ready in 2025 to continue the process of dismantling the Deep State, an arduous task that will take decades. All seems to be on course. MAGA is ascendant.

            Paula – I think Trump can win. There are more people watching voter rolls, new election laws, etc. to make the traitors think twice before committing further treason. Plus, they’ll need a lot more than 81 million votes to stop Trump this time around. Only a war, a virus release, or a cyberattack conducted by the Deep State will prevent Trump from returning.

            If that happens, I will be right here with a surprised apology. It would have to be someone qualified with no WEF on their resume.

            That’s why it’s not going to happen. Trump’s closest advisor, the lady who sets his daily schedule and tells him who he’s meeting with that day is Susie Wiles. Her deep state credentials include WEF and Pfizer. Trump’s daughter is WEF. The Rothschilds held the notes on his serial bankruptcies.

            Realistically, I think the list for his VP choice is Tulsi, Haley and his daughter who says she wants to raise her children and not be involved.

            Just curious, how did you feel when he announced Pence as his running mate?

        Absolutely. Nobody else comes close, as nobody else has the resources nor the spine to stop the current rush to destruction. Some members of this blog need to turn off all the noise and rhetoric and listen to the real signal. That signal is embodied in all the extra-legal shenanigans and law-bending the current “administration” is throwing at DJT. If these power-hungry wannabe tyrants fear DJT that much, to the extent they are willing to profane the conceptual core of liberty and American justice that made the US ideal viable, then I’m voting for DJT. The twisted words of the biden regime are irrelevant, but their actions are the definition of relevancy.

    Life has become a weird sci-fi novel. Not only has the DNC gone insane, no one seems capable of grokking that the “alternative” is just as crazy. Electing Biden (or the last-minute substitute…anyone else uneasy about HRC’s recent media tour?) is like trying to cross a river using a Volkswagon… so the “other side” offers a Ford Mustang! That’s not an alternative, just a different way to drown! And this crazyness will come amidst an overdue recognition of Covid vax mass murder and the new “Unit” which will kill the dollar (Oct.). God, is Fall 2024 gonna be “interesting”!

      I agree with you about a couple of things you mention but it will not affect my vote. If either come up with the digital dollar, Bullshit, or anything involving the mRNA technology also bullshit. Again though, who would be more likely to favor both?

      Your analogy was funny, but I want to add that the DNC alternative would not be a VW, but any sort of an EV.

    This week, two of the people I served with in the military passed away. They were my friends. We are Baby Boomers. They were both patriots and good people who signed and raised their hand to give their lives for this Country.
    Sadly, I can see where we may have wasted our time supporting the soulless leaders in this Country. For one or two days, most of our politicians embrace the flag and the rest of the time they are concerned about reelection and how much money they can grab from the war machine.
    My two friends who passed away this week are my heroes……..not FUCKIN’ Saint George Floyd.

      There’s a theory that they may just allow him to take office and deal with him afterward.

      Matt Gaetz and JD Vance say that there is an “impeachment trap” in that Ukraine funding bill that just passed. I said before that a couple of Congressmen opposed it for that reason, but Vance is a Senator.

      PolitiFact scoffed at the idea, but this is what they have to say about it:

      “Matthew Green, a politics professor at the Catholic University of America, told PolitiFact that “impeachment is basically irrelevant” to the supplemental appropriations bill.

      Several things have to happen for Vance’s impeachment scenario to come to fruition.

      “The bill involves impeachment only if (a) it becomes law, (b) Trump is elected president, (c) Democrats win control of the House, (d) Trump decides to ignore the law, and (e) Democrats decide to pursue impeachment in response,” he said.”

      In other words, there’s an impeachment trap but they can only impeach him if he is elected. A university professor “expert” says so.

    There was some public figure, an insider, who appeared on the news the very day of George Floyd’s death. He may have been the ME, I’d look it up but you know how that goes.

    He was telling everyone to keep cool, things were not what they appeared at first glance.

    He would have been referring to the fact that the autopsy was going to find that Floyd did not die of asphyxiation, but he could not announce what they would find ahead of the autopsy being completed.

    It was known to the people on the scene that the knee that appeared to be on the neck was actually on the shoulder of the deceased.

What probably contributed to the media circus was Chauvin’s grimacing and seeming to grind his knee into Floyd’s back, and all the screaming POC taking video of Whitey “violently” arresting another innocent criminal. It played into the 1619 Project bullshit, which is an outgrowth of Ibama and Frank Marshall Davis, and we can’t criticize *them*.

        The trachea and the left and right common and internal carotid arteries lie in the front of the neck, anterior to both the vertebral bodies and transverse processes. Unless there is something in front of the neck to push against, it is not possible to obstruct either the trachea or carotid arteries by pushing from the back.

        Such was the initial ruling by the coroner – no evidence of trauma (ie., no petechiae, no ecchymoses, no fracture of the hyoid bone), hence Floyd’s death was NOT from tracheal compression. The coroner altered his report after being pressured. The defense attorneys did a poor job, intentionally, in my opinion.

        George Floyd most likely died from “Excited Delirium Syndrome”. This is an agitated state of hyperactivity accompanied by extreme irrationality and sometimes hyperthermia and usually associated with polypharmacy (multiple drug usage). One of the officers can be heard asking Chauvin if Floyd might have “excited delerium” and Chauvin replied “that’s why I’m doing this” (restraining him).

        Chauvin and his officers were the sacrificial offerings to the radical left/racial grievance cults who run our once great country.

          Excited Delirium Syndrome is an invented diagnosis to explain why otherwise healthy young men die when tased.

          I think it’s much more likely that occasionally a taser is used at the wrong time in the cardiac cycle, which interrupts the normal beating of the heart and causes death, the “R on T” timing.

          As far as I know, only cops, ER doctors, and Taser manufacturers accept EDS as a legit cause of death.

    Keeping the border secured so mountain of fentanyl from China can’t get through so easily, so losers like the unfortunate Mr. Floyd couldn’t swiftly develop a habit that could fell an ox, might have helped.

    President Trump made effort toward cutting back on the supply of fentanyl, but I believe that was one of the things Biden reversed when he signed all thse papers put in front of him on his first days in office.

    If a cretin signs a legal document, isn’t that document invalid?

        There is some opinion the train derailment experience is, at least in part, due to the disappearing number of experienced individuals at the top of the seniority ladder. These individuals had experience which would have been passed along to the succeeding members.

        However, the jab-requirement-to-work decimated the senior segment (those with the knowledge and experience) of the work force. These are/were those who could say ‘not into my body’ and move on to some other occupation.

        Many having already raised families and paid off most or all of the mortgage, could throw the big middle finger at the captured managers. Others could see it for what it was and also say no, preferring to try something different which didn’t require surrendering personal freedom and choice.

        The trains are an example, healthcare is another, there are many more.

        I think they ( “Joe Biden” ) wanted the derailments, there are no coincidences.

        The fentanyl goes to the same places the heroin went, every city, town, and rural area in the country. There is a vast network of drug distribution and money laundering already set up in this country, and there has been for many decades.

        It seems obvious to me that the same people are involved. It’s not like the Chinese can just push it over the border, and it magically gets distributed throughout this vast country.

        It’s still the Deep State, no matter what drug they’re pushing at this time.

    I was thinking about that “where have all the flowers gone” song last night (yes I know Pete Seeger commie).

    I was thinking about it in relation to a couple of other things, Lindsey Graham and keeping the war in Ukraine going at all costs.

    I looked up a couple of things about the song ( I know I shouldn’t do that, I usually find the commies have been at the internet again and it depresses me).

    Something I found, that I probably knew before and forgot because it meant nothing at the time, Seeger was inspired to write the song by an old song referred to in a novel about Cossack soldiers going to war, set in the Don Valley. Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.

    Back to Lindsey and his bargain in dead Ukrainians fighting for our MIC – he was one of the people over there urging the under-25 men who are exempt from the draft, to go ahead and volunteer, out of patriotism.

    I read in an interview with Ukraine’s president some time ago, where he was asked if he was ever self-conscious about his height, or words to that effect, and he said no, because he was one of only four boys in his class, so girls were interested.

    Ukraine has evidently had a man shortage for some time.

    The draft age is high in Ukraine because males 25 and under are less likely to have become fathers.

    The more I see that image the more I think that they carefully curated the face of George Floyd before it was shown to the world. The width of the nostrils and the lips. It’s like they really wanted you to know that this mega black man was taken too soon by the system. His facial parameters are outlying the normal range which appears to be the point. A face you can remember, like a big baby face. And I feel bad for him too because it is actually another example of the system using a black man for its purposes. It should be “Joe Biden” and all of the people who pushed the narrative that are being mocked and ridiculed. But neatly they all remain in their safe and comfortable spaces. So its like he wasn’t even real and it was a deep fake or he was a “necessary” sacrifice for the regime and its machinations.

      Foundations are places where the wealthy stash their money so they don’t have to pay taxes, with the added benefit, as Sandberg points out, that they can then use that money to mold the minds of the people, and pay for the politicians to enact laws, to shape society in the way they wish.

      So instead of them paying taxes that elected representatives, responsible to the people, can decide how to use for the benefit of the greater society, they buy think tanks to mold thought (“Rich people create jobs!”), and they buy representatives to pass the laws that the think tanks write, in order to siphon off public wealth to further enrich themselves.

      This is what Georgia is trying to stop, with that anemic law, which is too much for US rulers, so they have unleashed riots, and they have threatened at least one legislator with the Fico solution.

      One should consider that the demographics has already been changed to some extent, and foreigners employed in various government positions may feel no loyalty to the American citizen.

      Evidence suggests that J-6th was an orchestrated event, and Armstrong contends that it was orchestrated so as to allow Nancy Pelosi to circumvent the normal election procedure (block Trump’s agenda), and to ensure that Joe Biden was duly elected president.

        This is just “filler news” which the MSM is using to start to prep the supposedly “informed” American and Western public for the inevitable outcome that is coming, which is the Russian takeover, or liberation, of much more of Ukraine than has been presently liberated.

        “Unnamed sources” in this context equals NOTHING CREDIBLE.

        Russia has been ready for years. Once their legitimate concerns are addressed, the war will stop.

        This is not complicated. The Ukraine is next to Russia. Cuba is 90 miles from Key West.

        JFK took the world to the brink (that’s what they say, right) of war rather than let the Soviets put missiles that had a 10-minute flight time to Washington.

        So, why would the Russians permit Ukraine to join NATO and park US/NATO missiles even closer to Moscow?

        The Russians are pretty intelligent people in general. They play chess. They survived a Western experiment in “mind-fuckery”, as our host might say. Communism. They are going to accomplish whatever goal they have in mind.

        And if the US government is delusional or stupid enough to keep escalating and risk a bigger war, maybe a nuclear one, so be it. This is existential for Russia. Defeat today leads to annihilation tomorrow.

        The US/West lies to Russia are matter of record. NATO–“not on inch east, Mr Gorbachev” said the US. Oh, but it wasn’t on paper. OK.

        Today is Memorial Day. The idea that all these men died for “our freedoms” is mostly propaganda. The only Americans who died for our constitutional freedoms were those who fought Britain in the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. That was about a century before many Americans’ ancestors, including mine, showed up here.

        The Americans who fought the Native Americans and the Mexicans, we owe them also. The US was big enough and had enough natural assets to stand on its own against European imperialists, primarily Britain.

        Nonetheless, I flew my American flag, out of respect those who “gave all or gave some” so they their comrades-in-arms might live to come home. War is awful, and the lot of the soldier especially, but also the sailor and airman is struggle to live another day and repeat, till they can come home.

        Though I disagree with the US government, I respect the troops who sacrificed, even those who disagree with me.

        Even though since 1945 they have fought in misbegotten conflicts in defense of ideology or theory or to enrich big capital and the blob, or all of the above.

        Since 1945, they’ve all died in faraway lands, for no good reason. In the process, they have killed many more natives, people who did nothing to the American people.

        Which brings me back to Mr. Putin and the Russians. They are fighting for their country. Setting aside that powerful psychological asset, militarily, they are stronger in this war. They are also closer to where the action is.

        While I believe the news is managed on both sides, I think the Russians are winning.

        They are winning on THEIR terms, not ours, or even mine (I would have liked them to have ‘won’ by now, and the shooting stopped).

        I’m sure people who were CFNers in 2021 remember August 2021. It figured in JHK’s essays. When the US puppet government in Afghanistan folded so fast, it was amazing. How did that happen SO FAST?

        All the way till the very end, the US government and media were saying, INSISTING, that things were under control. Remember that? I do. I didn’t buy it–but even so, even skeptical me did not see it coming so fast.

        Well, I would not be surprised if we have a repeat of that in autumn, in Ukraine. Talk about meddling in the US election!

        I read that today France is going to send “trainers” to Ukraine. I bet they will be like the “trainers” that JFK sent (which Eisenhower had avoided) to Vietnam. The US trainers quickly became combatants.

        Are the French going to be trip wires leading to escalation? We will see.

        We will see how the French do. If they do anything at all.

        After all, France’s record since Waterloo speaks for itself. (Franco-Prussian War, WW1, WW2, Vietnam, Dien Bien Phu). What could go wrong here?

        Sorry for the digression.

        Back to the story–the idea that Russians died, so that Russia can have a ceasefire now with the current parts of liberated Ukraine staying Russian is laughable. It would be an affront to the Russian people and the Russian war dead.

        That ship sailed in March/April of 2022, when the US and that English buffoon Boris Johnson torpedoed the Turkish-brokered negotiations in between Russia and Ukraine. Back then, the Russian demands were “no US missiles in Ukraine, and Ukraine can’t join NATO”. But Biden, Blinken, Nuland, et al would have none of that, and they told their British poodle to do his part and tell Zelensky that NATO would support Ukraine, and not agree to stop fighting”.

        The fighting will stop when Russia liberates Odessa and controls enough of the Ukraine to protect the Russian homeland. The Russians, IMO, have been more intent destroying the Ukranian military with as few Russian casualties as they can, rather than taking territory. Now, with much weaker Ukranian army, the Russians might start moving. Maybe. Who knows?

        However, we do know that:

        Ukraine is 5000 miles away from the US. It’s not our problem. Cuba maybe. The southern border–yes, that is OUR problem (for American CFNers).

        Finally, regarding the Duran, Alex and Alexander, I think they are pretty good. They are in JHK’s league, give or take. They are not God, and they are not perfect, and as here, their commenters comment, some logical, some not.

        If you want to have a better idea of what is happening in Russia/Ukraine, you could do much worse than the Duran.

    The German outlet reported on Sunday that the Baltic officials issued the warning while speaking with representatives for Berlin at the Lennart Meri Conference in Tallinn.

      Ukraine has now attacked two of Russia’s Early Warning Radars. These radars are about 1500km from the border, deep inside Russia. They Damaged one and missed the other by several thousand meters. This would appear to be in violation of paragraph 19c of Russia’s nuclear response doctrine

      19c: “attack by an adversary against critical governmental or military sites of the Russian Federation, disruption of which would undermine nuclear forces response actions”.

      Luckily (maybe) Russia does not rely on these ICBM launch detection radars like they have in the past. The emphasis is on satellite detection now. It remains to be seen what the response from the Kremlin will be, but it appears that they are within doctrinal authorization to respond with at least tactical nukes.

      Another development along these lines (strategic escalation), Ukraine has also made some mass ATACM missile attacks on Crimea with a fair portion of success. Apparently, these attacks have destroyed several S-400 air defense complexes. It would appear that the ATACM has an advantage against Rus Air defense. The S-400 and S300/350 systems can not track and destroy 10 or more massed ATACMs. In many cases, 90% of the incoming missiles were destroyed, but it only takes one missile to destroy the entire system.

      We appear to be in a stage of war where OFFENSE has gotten ahead of defense. The recent attack on Israel by Iran shows that missile defense is inadequate on the west’s side as well. There appears to be a window of “opportunity” where missile defense is still technologically incapable of dealing with massed missile attacks.

      Let’s hope the Blob doesn’t see this as their only chance to get a first strike in before the Rus can shore up their defense…

        That is 4,860 shells! In one day on just one front (Volchansk). Add to that five glide bombs.

        He tweeted: “our forces also fired back 25-35 mortat shells, 10-20 artillery shells and 15-20 MLRS rockets.”

        He says that the Russians are firing from inside Russia and that Ukraine cannot return fire because AFU artillery does not have the range.

            Seems the numbers are 45 dead and 249 injured. The UN has described it as an abomination. Witnesses speaking to Al Jazeera described tents and bodies melting.

            There seems to be much pushback from the Egyptian population generally against their government for enabling what Israel is doing in Gaza. There are strong calls for peace agreements to be torn up, including the Camp David agreement.

            Apparently, the Israeli and Egyptian governments have agreed that the results of an investigation into the incident will be kept under wraps, presumably so as not to further inflame the Egyptian public.

    I find your vengeful hopes that President Trump will do something about his deep state enemies misplaced. Did he do much about them while he was in office? No. Did he follow through on his threat to imprison Hillary? No. Will he do anything like this in his next term. Also probably no.

        The USA is a problem. In Ukraine, we caused a war by pushing Russia and Putin over and over with NATO, playing chicken with Europe. Then Obama/Biden with Nuland corrupted the government of Ukraine, produced Zelensky, corrupted him, pushed one more time trying to put Ukraine into NATO just to push Putin and see what he would do.

        Well, he did and the rest is history. The world is going to have a definite shortage of Ukes in the future.

        Then, the USA plays a one sided game with Israel to support its ally, even when Israel does not need it. The MIC needs an enemy to arm America against, aha, Iran. So again, we feed a boiling cauldron in the Middle East with arms and cash. We feed both sides.

        Do you get the drift? We feed both sides, we play the divide a conquer routine with foreign policy just like we do with our ethnic groups at home.

        What for? To keep these SOBs in power in DC, the accursed Deep State.

        Trump says he can stop both conflicts almost immediately. It sounds like a cutoff of support for all sides is his mechanism, no more toys to play with. I will be listening for his mechanism to abate wars instead of encouraging them.

        Most Americans are mostly concerned with their personal situation. They are not really that interested in foreign policy, as long as it doesn’t affect them. “It’s the economy, stupid!”

        The irony is American’s foreign policy since Clinton and especially since 2001 and Bush Jr. has made the world more dangerous. A mushroom cloud, even 80 miles away in Lansing, where our evil governor supposedly lives, will really affect the personal situation of millions of people in the MidWest.

        The cessation of tanker traffic in the Persian Gulf would also affect millions of Americans, though not as much as a nuke, or the power grid going down, or even the satellites which enable electronic credit and money going off-line.

        The other irony is that, since 2001, America’s bipartisan wars have cost $8 trillion. America’s total debt is $34 trillion. 23% of our debt is the cost of wars…since 2001!

        The financial day of reckoning is coming soon.

        Per Bill Bonner, citing a US Treasury chart, so far in Fiscal 2024, the Feds have taken in $2.96 and spent $3.82 billion, for a deficit of $855 billion. We have another four months left in the year.

        Somewhere in all that red ink is the blood of the Gazans. And also the Iraqis, the Afghans, the Vietnamese (all of whom did not bomb the US or cross the border, I might add), and of course the poor American soldiers and marines who lost their lives, limbs, or brains.

        And also, buried in red ink of the imperial, unilateralist foreign policy and forever wars is the new Sino-Russian alliance.

        So, especially in a resource-constrained world, foreign policy does matter. You’ll see.

            A layered society.

            Layer 1 – the Residents. They were born here – to parents who are at least Residents, but don’t want to contribute to a better society. They pay taxes and must adhere to the law, but no benefits.

            Layer 2 – the Citizens. Residents who work one day per week for the common good – farming, teaching, firefighting, picking up the trash – whatever they are good at. They get health care and free education.

            Layer 3 – The Electors. Citizens who have gained the right to vote by passing a yearly test demonstrating that they understand how government works. From them come the elect – not a separate layer – who are chosen by their fellow Electors on the basis of their ability, morality, etc., – whatever their fellow Electors value in a representative.

            A rational system for a rational – and moral – time, in a rational – and moral country. Something we don’t have, and sadly, never will.

            So yeah, I guess I’l see ya down at the river, where I will try to flush my utopian fantasies from my consciousness.

      Do you know why these leaders are trying to replace their own people? What is the point in flooding these places with African and Islamic males?           NO, I don’t know if you are familiar with Dr Anne McCloskey on Twitter. She’s very useful for cross-posting all sorts about goings on in Ireland. She was an out-of-hours GP (past retirement age, so basically the same as my other half) who was suspended early on by the Medical Council for speaking out about blood clots and so on that she was seeing in her patients, after the jabs. Like many who woke up during covid, she now posts about all the usual topics. She’s also an Irish nationalist (from Derry) and has absolutely no time for Sinn Fein. She’s feisty – you might like her.

          If you want to delineate a principle, using the IRA, then you need to clarify which IRA you are talking about, because they spilled different kinds of blood, in different circumstances, right up to the cowardly one that killed the young journalist Lyra McKee in 2019. New/Real/Whatevah IRA.

          After they killed her, they put notices up on the local lampposts pointing out, according the traditional IRA fashion, what would happen to anyone who blabbed to the police about her murderer.

          It was later alleged that the New/Real/Whatevah IRA had released a statement saying she hadn’t been the intended target (whew, that’s all right then, eh, Lyra?) and that they were sorry yadda yadda. They’re probably still sobbing with heartfelt regret as we speak.

        WWI was a “family fight”. The people that started it were all related to each other. Not only that, they were also all “Christians”. The followers of Christ in Western Europe have been regularly hacking each other to pieces ever since the Great Schism. Back in the “old days” men routinely gathered together on fields in order to slaughter each other. They had camp followers to cheer them on and lighten their loads. Today men gather on ball fields to fight and beat each other instead, and they have cheer leaders instead of camp followers for encouragement. That’s how one lives the Christian life.

          One presumes you are not familiar with the Christmas Truce of 1914, which happened spontaneously up and down the Western Front. Most often, according to witnesses at the time, it would start with the Germans singing Christmas carols, then the French and/or Brits would join in. Some of them famously played footie together.

          The Generals were furious. That’s what ordinary young men do when left to their own devices, instead of being ordered to kill one another by their elders and betters.

          As someone quoted recently, ‘young men who don’t know each other and don’t hate each other are sent to war by old men who do know each other and may or may not hate each other.’

          WW2 in Europe was the result of a megalomaniac that wanted to convert, first Europe, then the world to his, and Jarek’s form of governmental control, National Socialism. He honestly believed that the Aryan people were superior to the other races of Europe and should be in control. He attacked to subjugate others. He wrote it all down in Mein Kampf while in prison. He almost succeeded too.

          WW2 in the Pacific was nothing but a megalomaniacal government using an Emperor worship model to extend its influence in the Pacific, like China is doing now with the CCP. When the US stepped up to try to stop their overrunning of China, and cut off their oil from the East Indies, they attacked Pearl Harbor and took over most of the East side of Asia. Yamamoto, the Naval leader knew that the effort was futile, as they “awakened a giant”.

          WW2 was a war against megalomaniac governments and the totalitarian people that ran them. It created two superpowers that have evolved to be the next generation of megalomaniacal governments. Now, only one has survived and is standing on its last legs.

          As world war is no longer feasible, nukes and high tech have removed the win ability of any world war, economic war will be the method of the future. We are already seeing the effects of the transition today.

          Globalism is dying, nationalism is advancing as countries vie for the remaining resources.

          As Trump says, the answer to America’s future is “Drill. Baby, Drill”.

          We of the JHK ilk know this is only a temporary solution.

            However, megalomaniacs only get the public to follow them if the public has been pushed too far, in this case by being starved by the inhuman conditions imposed on them by the Versaille Treaty.

            Also, as I have explained before, the Anglo-American alliance supported and financed the Bolscheviks, then supported and financed Hitler and Mussolini. They created the monster.             Russians are saying something different. They say they are very willing and very serious about using nuclear weapons if pushed hard enough. Russia says “it’s feasible and we’re practicing for it and getting ready just in case”. The very best thing that can happen to the world is the total collapse and economic disintegration of the Western nations – primarily the USA. A calamity so bad that the economic and social chaos makes it impossible for the US to start or participate in any more wars. Chaos so bad that fierce martial law is the only solution and we’ll be forced to bring all troops and forces abroad back home just to keep the lid on our social pressure cooker.

            I don’t frequent a ‘curry shoppe’. We make our own curries – Indian and Thai. We do treat ourselves to take-away fish and chips once a fortnight on the first night after hubbies’ 5-days-every-other-week session ends.

            Not sure who owns the chippie. Some are owned by Italians – are they OK for you if they’re not too swarthy? Of course, ‘fish and chips’, as a dish, has its origins in the Jewish community of Portugal, apparently, although we’ve pretty much adopted it and generously taken it to places like Benidorm and Magaluf – not me personally, obviously, as I wouldn’t be seen dead in either.

            The people who deliver our fish suppers are many and varied, but all friendly. Never had a black person deliver my fish and chips, although I did once have one deliver a parcel. It’s still quite unusual.

There is a compromise, but they won’t accept it, namely not all things are for all men. Men (and that includes women) have different vocations and standards.             Did they rape more than the advancing Soviets? I doubt it. All the allies raped, but none as much as the Soviets. Mind you, nobody on the western front suffered the same depravities at the hands of the Nazis as on the eastern front, so, while it doesn’t excuse their behaviour, one could predict the spirit of vengeance.

            That too was down to the racist views of your heroes. They saw the Slavs as Untermenschen, while many of the soldiers occupying Paris felt like tourists in a country they saw as equal to their own.

            Messi is a pacifist. If you are not, then you don’t agree with him.

            As I said, you don’t understand Tradition. The Holy Spirit puts some people in a state where they CANNOT fight. It would be wrong for them. The heavy yoke of universal morality includes variation and exceptions that modernity simply doesn’t care to understand. If they do their part and live very simply, perhaps growing some of their own food and making some money or serving in other ways (education in the middle ages) then they were respected. Europe had a simplified caste system: Those who work, those who fight (and rule), and those who pray.

            Christianity puts the latter at the top. Don’t believe me? Look into it. The idea that everything was for everyone in exactly the same way was anathema to our ancestors. As it is for smart people today. And yes, you can go really wrong with this idea as our Elite invariable do, both then and now.

            (1) I didn’t say it was OK. I just asked how much raping black Americans did, compared to white Russians (as opposed to White Russians …). It would also be useful to know how much raping white Americans did, for comparison. None of it is defensible, whoever did it. And if black Americans did more, they did more. I just asked for a comparison. Preferably something statistically reliable.

            (2) I should have said I am not YET a pacifist. Sometimes I think it is a journey, and Messi is further on than I am. I also subscribe to Terry Wolfe, who writes the WinterChristian Substack. He was raised a Mennonite and (although, bizarrely, he has worked as an intel agent) he is a full pacifist. He has no fear whatsoever of a hideous and gory death, which is a fleeting event. I don’t think he even fears it for his children. He reckons children can surprise us with their courage. I learn from anyone I consider worth learning from.

            (3)Your view is limited, as ever. The patriotism/pacifism dichotomy is not the full picture. I would certainly not fight ‘for my country’ in a war I considered evil, such as the invasion of Iraq or Afghanistan. But if you were advancing, with a torch, towards a barn full of women and children, with the obvious intent of burning them alive, I’d probably pop a bullet in your head, no matter whose side you were on and whose ‘side’ I were on. The correct ‘sides’ to choose between are right and wrong. Although I should probaby just maim you and then the next person to take up your torch, until such time as someone put a bullet in my head. A bullet in the head is a very quick way to go and far easier than what awaits the innocents in the barn (and what later awaits those who torch them).

            (4) I was not surprised by your nonsense about your purpose in life not being to take a crap. It’s typical of your drivellish responses. Taking a crap is fine. But if you know you only have three months to live and your choice is between pursuing the Kingdom of God and refurbishing the bathroom, you should probably leave the bathroom upgrade to someone more worried about such things. In other words, get a grip.

            (5) Helping take care of your countrymen (which I don’t equate with slavish following of a state apparatus) is good, but it is not the only moral imperative.

            (6) I insult you because you have been insulting me for 15 years (or probably more). You’re right, though, I shouldn’t do it,, no matter how obnoxious you are. It is not my purpose to lower myself to your level. I also insult you because you lie repeatedly and bear false witness. You are Jarek-makes-up-shit. You are literally known for it. I should continue to call out your lies without insulting you. Or I should ignore you altogether.

            (7) There’s more stuff in your post to pick at but I frankly can’t be bothered. I give you too much of my time as it is and will likely have to answer for it.

    Saving our Democracy is now going to require:

    1) Large-scale social revolts, social upheaval and most importantly the self-organization of ordinary citizens that can lead to a wider distribution of power, property and local control.

    2) Without such self-organization (in the past, such organizations as unions, co-operatives, family firms etc.) we will not have the necessary social-political leverage to influence our existing market structures, including finance, as well as the necessary clout to restrain/dismantle our intelligence agencies and their foreign policy priorities.

    3) We have temporarily lost our ability to exert collective pressure on elite-decision making and unless we get this back our chances of generating broadly distributed prosperity, meaning ultimately figuring out creative ways to save ourselves since the institutional networks that presently surround us could care less about our economic, political or spiritual well-being.

        John, you left out Russia’s intervention in the Syrian civil war, the Russian-Georgian war, Russia’s involvement in the Central African Republic and Mali.

        Afghanistan was about thirty years ago, and the Russians were there for about ten years.

        Iraq was a disaster and ISIL was in Libya and was driven out. Earlier, in 2011, Gaddafi was deposed, and celebrations took place all across the nation. We can’t seem to follow a good thing up afterwards.

        Is intervention in Iran a bad thing? Do you want an Iran with nukes to destroy Israel? Help Russia and China and NOKO?

        I think that it is more this current administration that approaches the Russian modus operandi. (Desperate Obama clan?) Otherwise, we, like all nations, right or wrong, do what we think is in our own self-interest.

        I think that a ‘deep state’ may in all likelihood exist in most if not all nations, being almost a necessity to operate and survive in a complicated world full of subterfuge and competition.

        Question (as you often pose): Can the ordinary citizens of a democratic country be trusted to influence and steer matters of foreign policy? Make moves on “The Grand Chessboard”?

        Thus the dilemma.

          We are actually a Tri polar world today, BRICS++ unifies Russia and China against us, but eventually they will contest each other on the chessboard.

          So what happens when two assholes go to stalemate and they are equal strength.

          So who should control when that threshold is met? In the USA, this is easy? Of course, the people’s representatives, right? Congress must declare war, right?

          Right!!! So right now, the people really do not have a way to steer matters of foreign policy. Think though, do the American people right now have the wherewithal to understand the decision making? Even more deadly,does the Deep State? I do not believe REP. Average has a clue and just pushes the RD button.

          The future as I have said many times is the West vs. BRICS, White vs. Darks, Haves vs. Have-nots, Resource poor vs. resource rich, Christian vs. Islam. R and C are leaders of the elite make the decisions and the serfs follow folks, the USA has been the serfs have a say in the decision making. Until Bush/Obama/Biden. It is near that the world will have three superpowers with identical philosophies, socialism AKA elitism.

          And it may start today in a NYC courtroom.

          Yes, Trump will cater to “the donors”. And these people will drive America into the ground first, before saying “no more” or cutting a dime of US aid to Israel.

          The Israelis, Trump, most Americans, seem to think that America will last forever, that the US will not wind up like the Roman or Byzantine Empires, or Austrian Empire, or France, or Britain.

          Unfortunately, while the US was more naturally blessed than the others, it also is diverse society, where cohesion was, and is, related to economic prosperity and affluence. The good times are coming to an end, and quite possibly, the unraveling won’t be far behind.

          The problem is, the wanton murder and destruction in Gaza can’t be concealed, and every day, the blood-stained reputation of Israel AND the US grows darker and darker.

          Nor can any serious person say “the Palestinians started it and deserve it”, when in fact the Palestinians have been abused for 75 years, especially since the 1980s. One can’t call out Hamas’ criminal behavior, when Hamas takes hostages, but look the other way when the Israeli government imprisons thousands without cause.

          Outside of the US, Canada, and some of Europe, the bloodbath in Gaza works to the diplomatic and economic advantage of China and Russia. In the not-too-distant future, America may be as powerful globally as France is today.

          Such a weaker America won’t be capable of enabling Israel. Israel will be forced to choose between the Samson option, which is mutual suicide (which is easier when you’re 25 years removed from Dachau, but MUCH harder when you are, and have BEEN for the past 50 years, living like affluent Europeans) or giving the surviving Palestinians equal rights in a single state, with some or a lot of outside oversight–which will mean the end of Israel as we have known it since 1948.

            (for whatever reason, or reasons–economic primarily, as the debt and/or hyperinflation make it difficult to for the US to project power and be able to bomb weaker countries anywhere; or the end of the dollar privilege, which has been a HUGE enabler for both our government, and all of US, to live beyond our means; civil strife; a miscalculation in Ukraine which leads to an escalation that results in direct attacks on th US, or global supply chain disruptions, or loss of satellite communications–all kinds stuff in our “complex, delicate society”)

            Israel will find itself facing economic pressures which will compel the Israeli government to get along with, or get help from, other nations, the price being a change in Israeli behavior.

            (I don’t see Israel being overrun by military force)

            Or, Israel may try to threaten, or perhaps actually proceed to use WMDs (this is the Samson Option, where Israel attacks and destroys other nations, presumably “enemies of Israel”, and other nations respond in kind).

            In re-reading Foss’ quote, I must admit that, maybe contrary to it, some governments seem to be helping to create and/or advance some trends, such as the ‘BLM’ and ‘LGBTQ+’ ones. That’s not to necessarily suggest that they’ll be successful in the long run, though.
            Seems to me the successful ones are the ones that make the most sense from a natural, rather than sociopolitically-engineered, standpoint, but what do I know.

    Key excerpts from Washington’s Address

    The president begins his “warnings of a parting friend” by stressing the importance of the union that brought together the very different American states and regions.     Anticipating the further increase in partisan bickering between the Republicans and Federalists that, in his opinion, jeopardized the development and even survival of the nation, Washington warned at length of “the dangers of [political] parties” and “the baneful effects of the spirit of party.” This was a masked attack on the Republicans. With remarkable foresight—which somehow anticipated the political turmoil that we know all too well today—Washington states:

    Washington next turned to religion and morality. He would not leave out of his address his strong belief in the importance of religion to the development and survival of the United States. Washington states:

    “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens…. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle. “

    The centerpiece of Washington’s Farewell Address, and one of the messages that has most often been referenced is its call for neutrality in foreign affairs. The motivation for such emphasis (one fourth of the document is given to this theme) was Jefferson’s adoration of France. Washington and Hamilton were horrified by the anarchy and atheism of the French Revolution, and the president was angered by a recent attempt to influence American policy by a French envoy to the United States, Edmond-Charles Genêt. “Citizen Genêt” had been sent to promote American support for France’s wars with Spain and England. Following decades of experience in dealing with the French and with the British during the French and Indian and Revolutionary wars, and during his presidency, George Washington had developed an uncanny ability to foresee entanglements.

    The president’s advice regarding foreign affairs has for centuries been deemed relevant by American statesmen:

    “Observe good faith and justice tow[ar]ds. all Nations; cultivate peace and harmony with all…. in the execution of such a plan, nothing is more essential than that permanent, inveterate antipathies against particular nations, and passionate attachments for others, should be excluded; and that, in place of them, just and amicable feelings towards all should be cultivated…. [F]oreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of republican government…. The great rule of conduct for us in regard to foreign nations is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible.”

    To be free of the “frequent controversies” that plague Europe, Americans should “steer clear of permanent Alliances, with any portion of the foreign world.” Washington mentions his Neutrality Proclamation of 1793 that he issued when France declared war on England: “[I] had a right to take… and was bound in duty and interest to take, a neutral position.”

    George Washington volunteered the advice given in the Farewell Address for the same reason that he had led the Continental Army and had reluctantly come back from retirement to serve as the nation’s first president. The lifestyle that he longed to enjoy at Mount Vernon was impossible without the protection of a stable, benevolent government, and he was probably the only general in the colonies who could have led the American army to victory, and afterward he was the only figure who was trusted throughout the nation to be its first president. As Washington explains in the closing statement of the address, his final words to the American public, the point of government is to allow a private citizen to savor domestic bliss:

    “I anticipate with pleasing expectation that retreat, in which I promise myself to realize, without alloy, the sweet enjoyment of partaking, in the midst of my fellow-citizens, the benign influence of good laws under a free government, the ever-favorite object of my heart, and the happy reward, as I trust, of our mutual cares, labors and dangers.”

    Jarek: For our purposes, this paragraph is the focus:

    Jefferson repented of his passion for France in the end, when the horrors of the French Revolution became too obvious to deny.

    Scott Roder, who has testified as an expert in some of the most highly publicized criminal cases in the world, broke down a video of a reported alien sighting in Las Vegas frame by frame.

    In one second of real time, there are 30 frames that show a “head… with smoke around it,” which Roder called “some sort of cloaking device,” moving into the top right corner of the video and peering over the fence.

    “I applied the same principles that I would apply to any kind of homicide investigation,” said Roder, who testified in cases like Oscar Pistorious’ murder trial. “At this particular time, with what we’ve seen here, is proof of a couple of things. That these entities… are real. They’re there. This is not fake. This is not a fraud.”

    Roder worked with Jim Quirk – a reporter who runs the Extraterrestrial Reality podcast and who shared videos and images with Fox New Digital – to recreate the scene in the Las Vegas backyard on April 30, 2023.

    Before the reported alien sighting, there was an unexplainable streak of light that raced across the sky. It was captured on Las Vegas police bodycams.

    And at least 21 people across eastern California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah reported seeing the glowing green light, according to the American Meteor Society.

    Shortly thereafter, Angel Kenmore called 911 and told the dispatcher that he saw a “tall, skinny alien creature with greenish color,” about 8 to 10 feet tall, hiding behind their forklift in the backyard.

    In a video Kenmore shared on YouTube, Kenmore and three other family members walk in a line and react to something and run.

    What they likely didn’t even realize, is a potential second being peering over a tall fence, Roder said.…

      Independently owned nursing homes are closing in droves. Most can only be run profitably with the massive economies of scale of owning hundreds or thousands of beds. Private equity is destroying every business/industry you can think of. Ever wonder who owns funeral homes, plumbing/HVAC companies, virtually all home service companies?

        No heat setting in here. We’re being mega-sprayed with something so that we hardly see the sun. Even normies are noticiing (so I’m told – I’m surrounded by normies and they still say things like ‘this is Scotland – its our weather). Nevertheless, Mike Yeadon commented the other day that people he spoke to in the south of France (the Yeadons have a holiday pad in France) were saying the same thing – been here 50 years and never saw skies like this.

        Apparently our days of sunshine are down 20% and harvests are expected to be 20% lower because of all the rain. Good news if you’re a Food Innovation Hub promoter, I suppose.

          I’m counting on a cool summer with temps staying in the 80’s with plenty of rain. That will be fine for my potatoes that I planted much too late. Taters do poorly when temps go up into the 90’s. I plan to freeze and can a lot of garden produce and fruit this year.

            I transplanted a couple of lemon grasses whose clippings from store-bought plants I managed, earlier at home, to get to put out roots.

            Anyway, last summer it was very wet, foggy and generally cool and damp. It was not good for my tomatoes, although I handn’t planted much, but my acorn squash fared very well. Hoping other regions get more of the water this summer. Just in case, however, I have planted some watermelon and butternut squash.

            What have you planted, aside from grass?

          Wow, that is crazy! I assume at this point the geoengineering is occurring on a global scale in all locations. Pay close attention, you may have even already noticed that the spraying is very seasonal and also cyclical. I find the heaviest spraying here is in the winter and early to mid Spring. Like today I haven’t seen a chemtrail yet. It looks like some thunderheads are brewing up so we might get a little relief later this afternoon. They are also destroying the food supply outright. I heard another free range chicken farm in Southern Illinois burned to the ground last night and there could be millions of chickens dead.

            Yep, they’re also decimating poultry stocks by using PRC to pretend they’ve got avian flu, so they kill them entire flocks. I read yesterday about chickens being killed by spraying foam in their living spaces until they’re all suffocated.

      From pictures I’ve seen of the Caspian Sea region–at least the Iranian part of it–it looks very desolate.

      The southwestern side of the Caspian in Iran was the location of the famous Alamut fortress, the stronghold of the assassins. The ruins of Alamut are still there.

      There is a pretty good Louis L’Amour story featuring Alamut, titled Walking Drum. I think it was the last book Louis L’Amour ever wrote, and the setting is mainly in the Middle East (a few centuries ago), rather than in the old west, like L’Amour’s other stories.

      I have a periodic morbid fascination with the Caspian Sea.

      If recalled correctly, it has no outlet. Rivers end in it and that’s about it. Also, it may be relatively-shallow and shrinking.
      There’s another Google Street View photo (the ones added by people) that has a seawall of rock but where the sea should be, there’s grass and even a couple small tents.

      I also seem to recall reading some time ago that USSR ran anthrax experiments on one of its islands and the anthrax is still there and still dangerous.

      I’ve planted pretty much all of my garden-plot stuff, incidentally, save for maybe some peas since my neighbor is doing some and they’ve grown well. I don’t know. Do I want peas? I’ll have to think about it. What else could I plant? I’m on a roll…
