The occasion of the state funeral for the late George Floyd — rivaling the solemn progress of Abraham Lincoln’s casket across this land at lilac time so long ago — may be a good moment for Americans to take stock of what condition our condition is in. Going on a fortnight of protests, riots, and looting, what exactly does black America seek in its cry for an end to systemic racism? Forgive me for saying the petition is vague. To explain, I’ll have to tread into realms of discourse that are taboo these days, so gird your loins if you care to follow.

Is there a campaign of police genocide against black people? The facts and numbers say emphatically no. (They’re discussed in detail in many articles by Heather MacDonald at City Journal.) Is it true that “black people aren’t heard”? If you follow The New York Times, America’s “newspaper of record,” that’s all you will hear. Has justice been denied in the killing of Mr. Floyd? Four cops have been swiftly arraigned on grave charges. Are black people denied the privilege of governing their own affairs? Many cities are run by black mayors, police chiefs, and district attorneys where, year by year, social dysfunction has only gotten worse.

Is a substantial portion of the black population not thriving in comparison to whites and other racial or ethic groups? Apparently so. The only truly systemic dynamic in their plight is the campaign by government, ongoing for more than fifty years, to uplift them with social programs, cash assistance, and affirmative action, plus monuments, prizes, and holidays, and very vocal public encouragement from “allies” in media, entertainment and sports. All this “help” only seems to make the problems worse.

It’s beyond obvious after a half a century and trillions of dollars spent that well-intentioned government support destroyed black family formation. Seventy-five percent of black children are raised these days in households without fathers because cash assistance is forbidden where there is “a man in the house.” Everybody knows the problem is generational and severe. Paying unmarried women (often just girls) to have babies can easily be seen as leading to many social disadvantages. Who is militating to change that — say, to allow cash assistance to married couples? Nobody, most particularly black America. Why? Because it’s an established racket, a hustle, a pattern of living, complete with customs and rituals, such as giving over young black men to prison as an initiation to manhood. Why are they sent to prison? Because they commit crimes.

The bamboozlement over this was especially vivid last week in the contrast between the sanctimony of the daytime protest marches and the nighttime looting, vandalism, and arson, of which there are hundreds of videos on the web showing young black Americans acting like savages. The police all over America didn’t dare try to stop it lest they produce a new martyr to aggravate the insurrection. No plea arose from leaders in black communities across the land to stop the disgraceful behavior. It was not even recognized as disgraceful, rather regarded as a necessary ceremony for purging the bad feelings over George Floyd’s gruesome death at the knee of officer Derek Chauvin.

Why not try succeeding at school rather than prison? School has different requirements. I will venture an idea which is not just taboo, but taboo to an extreme: many black children cannot succeed in school because they do not speak English correctly at home and the schools have, as a definite policy, done nothing to correct that because it would be labeled as “racist.” If your language dispenses with grammatical form — such as the difference between the expression of past, present, and future — you’re liable to suffer cognitive disadvantages which result in doing poorly at school. You may even be incapable of showing up on time for anything.

The number one job in elementary school should be teaching children first to speak English, because without it, they’ll struggle to learn anything else. But we’re not interested. It might hurt someone’s feelings to learn that his or her speech is deficient. It might anger a parent to hear that. So, we choose to let the children fail. It’s a choice we make by consensus. Here’s some news for you: multiculturalism is itself a form of racism that ghettoizes language. Do you want that to continue? Are you really interested in change? Change that. Start there.

This points to a deeper and more fundamental question: Does black America really want to fully participate in our national life, or do they want to remain an oppositional faction within it, dependent, resentful, and violent? The George Floyd fiasco has distracted the country from the most severe economic crisis of the century, so far. Do you understand how much thought and effort it will take to reorganize America’s economic life? We are not going back to the way things were before the year 2020. A lot of familiar arrangements will not continue. Comforts and conveniences are phasing out. We don’t have time for histrionics. Can we please just respectfully bury this troubled man and get on with the tasks at hand?

The Chinese often remark that the Americans are “stupid” “hen ben”. And, as much as it pains me to admit it, I have to admit that there may be some true there. You’d think that with the massive unemployment rate now and the huge disparity in wealth in the US that the people would protest over practical livelihood issues such as jobs, healthcare, debt forgiveness, end of the stupid foreign wars, education, Infrastructure, etc.? You’d think that Universal Basic Income would be a focus and that Andrew Yang would be the Democratic Party nominee rather than a corrupt friend of Jeffrey Epstein with dementia? Instead, the people are out shouting: “Black Lives Matter”.

Nobody gives a shit about black lives, least of all the black leadership. It’s just another racket for them to promote their interests.

Race Racket – “If you wanna keep the money flow’n, you gotta keep the problem go’n….”

Slice and dice, divide and conquer is a fundamental strategy. Consequently unity and solidarity don’t make prime time.

    • benr June 8, 2020 at 10:37 am #

True the Chinese would rather run their problems over with tanks.
Shoot them in the head and charge the families for the bullets but then who wants to live in that society?
Any Chinese person who can flees that hellhole of a country.

      • Jeremy June 8, 2020 at 12:15 pm #

Here’s how the City of Wuhan celebrated the end of their lockdown:

A city of 11 Million that probably nobody in the US (except Dr. Fauci) had heard of before this pandemic.

Sure doesn’t look like a hellhole (sic) to me.
Take a road trip across the US sometime benr – you’ll see what a hell hole looks like.

        • benr June 8, 2020 at 1:10 pm #

I can say never been to China never will go.
Hosted enough Chinese kids and none of them EVER wanted to go back.
There ONLY interest was getting their families out of China.
So you can post what you want, how you want, but understand the reality is most people with money flee China for a very specific reason.
It has nothing to do with squat toilets, dirt and disease but the government.

          Well said.

I have been here in China for nearly seventeen years; I lived in Seattle for twenty. The last time I went back in 2016 the homeless lay splayed about like the dead in Mathew Brady’s Civil-War photographs. I cannot imagine going back to Trump-land where the legions of misinformed and hoodwinked end up as cannon-fodder for a corrupt and duplicitous few.

    • Exscotticus June 11, 2020 at 1:24 am #

Universal basic income?! China tried socialism; it didn’t work. Now they’re capitalists. That’s worked beyond their wildest expectations. They got the idea from us. How’s that for “stupid”?

  2. Kellyfrombayfield June 8, 2020 at 10:17 am #

    Exactly my thoughts Jim.
Thank you for putting them into words.

    • shotho June 8, 2020 at 11:16 am #

Yes, they were nicely put, weren’t they? Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan (D-NY), predicted all of this in a report he issued in the 1980’s. He made it perfectly clear what would happen to the black family if government policies continued. Of course, he was taken care of, in short order, by the Clinton’s.

      • drewkeeling June 8, 2020 at 8:25 pm #

I think the “Moynihan report,” to which you refer, came out in 1965.
        See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Negro_Family:_The_Case_For_National_Action

Challenges of family formation, and controversy over their nature and origins, extend back even further than the “half century” of “well-intentioned government support” which Jim Kunstler describes.

Young people are in the streets all over the Western world because they have NOTHING better to do. Deal with it. Young people feel immortal. Virus doesn’t scare them; Cops don’t scare them. Deal with it. Young people feel unsure of the future. Deal with THAT.

We owe tribute to Donald Trump.  He has proven to be the locus for exposing what America has become. Be grateful.

Brilliant! Fire the cops. Make the city so dangerous food delivery is suspended. Duck!

    • DrTomSchmidt June 8, 2020 at 10:40 am #

In some sense, a lot of the young are saying “if we can’t have nice things, then no one can.” Not the most useful of strategies, but understandable.

Then take those young people without a future and unemploy them for the purposes of fighting a virus that does not harm them like the +70 crowd. They have, at least, shown that all that posturing about lockdowns and protests by the left was fake.

      • messianicdruid June 8, 2020 at 11:02 am #

“ Then take those young people without a future and unemploy them for the purposes of …”

rebuilding our infrastructure. We need a new WPA to rebuild bridges, parks, railroads, waterways, locks, dams, you could even get a Habitat for Humanity type thing going and build single-family homes built on adequate room for gardens and livestock. Get Real.

        • Urinthe Village June 8, 2020 at 11:37 am #

Nice idea, but it would not work. No young person today would accept, let alone apply for such jobs. My mother and her 8 siblings grew up in the Great Depression with their their widowed mother. Her five brothers jumped at the chance to work for the WPA and the CCC to provide for the family, all living under a single roof with one bedroom and an attic. Per my mother, God rest her soul, these programs literally saved them from starvation. The youth today are different; do you really think the typical twenty-something, raised on video games, liberal allowances, and an entitlement mentality, would jump at the chance to work construction outdoors under hot sun or pouring rain, or God forbid, blowing wind and cold? Banish the thought! Despite the fact that it makes no use of their Urban Studies or related degree, it is acceptable to them to take a job as a barista, inside with heat and air-conditioning and a certain degree of Starbuck’s implicit cultural coolness. But outside manual labor? No thank you; they’ll just take their UBI, which, the day after it is implemented, needs to be raised. And they would like their housing paid for and student loans forgiven as well. The concept of working for government assistance is gone with the wind. Their inherent but unacknowledged racism is reflected in the attitude that, if there is any outside work to be done, there are Mexicans to do it. When was the last time a white kid came to your door offering to mow your lawn for a small fee?

          • Janos Skorenzy June 8, 2020 at 12:40 pm #

Obviously UBI means price fixing for essentials if it is going to work.

Do you really believe that Americans should have to compete with desperate 3rd Worlders for crusts of bread? That’s just sickening. So much for “progress” or social advancement. Make everyone coolies is the Capitalist ethos, right?

Many Whites are still working or willing to work such jobs – often they can’t get hired because the Mexicans have them all. No summer jobs for kids either so of course the whole culture has shifted away from that – reinforcing the partial truth in your premise.

Once a minorities rise to management, they have captured an establishment or industry and then will hire their own whenever possible.

          • benr June 8, 2020 at 1:12 pm #

            Saw that first hand!
Answered an add for a System administrator job for a fairly large irrigation company.
When I got there both the IT staff were Mexican nationals who drove up to San Marcos from Tijuana everyday.
Both made under $12 bucks an hour and they told me I could interview but that it would be a waste of time.

          • elysianfield June 11, 2020 at 10:26 am #

” The youth today are different;”

I would suggest they are not sufficiently in want to do what will be required. How long will it take for their circumstances to change? Three days? A week?

            Hunger is a great motivator.

      • Janos Skorenzy June 8, 2020 at 12:35 pm #

Yes, the Minneapolis City Councilor said just that: If someone is breaking into your house in the middle of the night it’s good that you can no longer call the police. Now you can meditate on what it’s like for those for whom the system doesn’t work – those who have always been too afraid to call the police (because they’re criminals maybe?).

Absolutely twisted to the nth degree. The Nordic Eloi elected destroyers to lead them and now they’re going to be destroyed. But some life force will rise up in and them and they will flee. Another Detroit is being created here.

        • San Jose June 8, 2020 at 12:47 pm #

The mayor of Minneapolis is a pathetic soy boy. I’m sure he’d send his thoughts and prayers if your house was invaded.

          • DrTomSchmidt June 9, 2020 at 2:11 pm #

I’m surer if this statement than anything: that mayor don’t pray.

        • debt June 9, 2020 at 3:16 am #

It might be worse than another Detroit. Perhaps another Mogadishu.

      • Karah June 8, 2020 at 1:36 pm #

There are young people harmed by the sars-cov-2 and dying of covid-19.

        • DrTomSchmidt June 9, 2020 at 2:15 pm #

That’s good. You’re thinking like a logician, not a scientist. Think probabalistically and you’ll be thinking like a scientist.

“take those young people without a future and unemploy them for the purposes of fighting a virus that does not harm them like the +70 crowd. ”

          Now apply population averages. See?

          • Karah June 10, 2020 at 12:23 pm #

Quoting population averages would suggest thinking neither like a scientist nor a logician, it would suggest thinking like a statistician.

Thinking practically, why would I want to risk my health being bombarded by an unknown virus 100X more than the average person?

Making healthcare workers the new military hero sacrificing themselves in a war against microbiological terrorists is NOT going to replace the military industrial complex war on terror (Ideology).

    • shotho June 8, 2020 at 11:19 am #

I agree, as goofy and megomaniacal as he is, Trump has ripped the blinders off America and showed us what we really are. He may go away in November, but will be remembered in history as the one who made us face reality.

            @ Hans4u

Why would you make such a stupid comment? The concept of “oxymoron” has no relationship to the concept of “grammar”.

And there we have it, a nation of snarksters who think they know something but know nothing.

        • abbybwood June 8, 2020 at 1:17 pm #

And now we see where MSDNC has absolutely no problem declaring to the world that they undyingly support Democrats 24/7 by hiring one of the anti-Trump coup plotters, Lisa Paige, to be a “legal analyst” for them!

I would still like to see her and the other coup plotters at The FBI/The Justice Department indicted, perp-walked, mug shotted and eventually found guilty and imprisoned.

Instead they are all being hired by the MSM, including Brennan and McCabe.

          Too much.

    • Janos Skorenzy June 8, 2020 at 12:31 pm #

The man partly responsible for getting this party started, Mayor Jacob Frey, timidly answered the protesters that he didn’t believe in completely defunding the police was then told to leave. He slunk away, in his sweatshirt and frizzy hair, the love child of Justin Trudeau and Elmo (thank you Mark Steyn).

This truth is going to hurt. I properly girded my loins so I’m Ok. No fuses blown for me. And I agree 100%.

  5. Brabantian June 8, 2020 at 10:26 am #

There has been a systematic destruction of USA black culture since the 1960s

One way, as JHK notes above, was the wrecking ball put to the black family, by paying black mothers hugely, if there was no man in the house

And then there is the role models for black people, pumped out by Hollywood … the Blaxploitation films starting in the 1970s, starting with offerings such as ‘Shaft’ and ‘The Mack’, idolising gunmen and pimps

And then starting in the 1980s, we had the ‘gangsta’ music songs and videos, continuing well into the present day, giving glamour to crime

And then we have the real hidden horror of the US justice system, which often doesn’t care if the black person arrested for the crime, is the actual one who did it … a soft-target is picked up and railroaded, often on bogus evidence by a snitch trying to avoid being prosecuted for his own crime … whilst the real criminal is left on the streets

And then the young black is railroaded into a plea bargain, by a corrupted ‘public defender’ lawyer who is threatened if he doesn’t play along, the lawyer saying ‘Look, I know you’re innocent but if you go to trial you get 50 years, if you admit guilt you’ll only get 5’ … and then the judge gives 10 years, and there is no practical appeal against the whole fraud upon the court

So young blacks are effectively told they are probably going to be arrested and jailed at some point, whether they commit crimes or not … so they may as well have some fun whilst waiting to get arrested

That’s been the USA for young blacks, gangsta role models and a judge-lawyer system corrupt up to the rafters

There should be no surprise the USA is exploding

But who initiated the destruction? And participated in it? And profited from it? And followed it willingly?

      • BatrickPateman June 8, 2020 at 12:09 pm #

Well, we do have a system that is sustained by incarceration. We’ve militarized the police and privatized the prison system…there’s a whole lotta money at stake there.

        • SW June 8, 2020 at 12:58 pm #

There’s plenty of blame to go around, no doubt about it. From the Clinton’s green-lighting a private prison system and talking up youthful predators to make sure they’re always full, a legal system that turns a blind eye to men like Epstein for years but bankrupts everyone else, and there’s room for a lot of improvement in policing. But at the bottom of all of the problems is a lack of ethics and a refusal by any group to look at their own participation in the problem.

“ Blaxploitation films starting in the 1970s, ”

What do you make of the segregation black horror flicks, like “Blacula”, “Black Frankenstein”, and “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Jive”? I recall that “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Jive” had some nice Kootchie in it. You’d think that movies of this caliber would encourage black males to study science?

    • woe June 8, 2020 at 2:00 pm #

I agree with pretty much everything you stated above. JHK, you nailed it in this latest article. The family breakdown in america and the cultural dysfunction promoted by the MSM is destroying the black community, I think most of this is by design. Men in the black community have be marginalized for generations, they have been replaced by the pastor and the government. There has been created a situation where men are needed for procreation ONLY, after that they are not needed because the government has taken over the role of provider. This provider role does not carry any expectations for advancement out of dependency or at least positive social behavior, or consequences for bad behavior, so you continue to get negative outcomes. The expectations and consequences are usually what a man provides in the home since he has been traditionally responsible for the state of his household. The other thing, is that there is no one around to enforce or reinforce the concept that YOUR BEHAVIOR AND CHOICES HAVE CONSEQUENCES. No one is there to rein in the endocrine system which is programming adolescent urges to procreate, and since these urges are being reinforced by popular culture, young girls are trapped by childbirth before they have grown up themselves. This used to be underclass behavior, but it has been made popular by the MSM. Feminism has made it where black men for the most part can’t get any cooperation from black women, there is no teamwork, so most of any family effort is to acquire the latest consumer goods, not save, or obtain more education, buy a home and be committed to paying it off, the importance of credit, the importance of literacy, or the importance of emotional intelligence.

      • Mountain gal June 8, 2020 at 6:10 pm #

        @ woe

Well yes, but just how does this get fixed? Thoughts on this? I know you self-identified as a black male on a previous blog post comment. I see the problems but sure have no idea how to turn it around. I suspect that only by reclaiming the black 2-parent family and by black men becoming the husbands and fathers they need to be will the trajectory of the black community in the US improve. And while we’re at it, what about some black music that doesn’t call women “ho’s” and worse, use the “N” word, glorify crime and drugs, etc? Why do parents let their kids listen to this stuff? Guess I’m just so white I don’t get it……..

      • Helen Highwater June 9, 2020 at 9:15 pm #

      Brabantian and shotho,

You have ‘hit the nail on the head’ as the old saying goes.

AND it seems that some of our Afro & Euro-American brothers who have been in the trenches of the Culture War in South Bend, Indiana for the past 20 years agree with you:

Shotho, Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan – “the smartest man in the US Senate” – while an under-secretary of HEW in the Kennedy-Johnson administrations [1963-1965] predicted the current malaise of so-called ‘negro families’:

I remember sitting on the porch of the beach-house reading:

“Lloyd Shearer, Negro Problem: Women Rule the Roost’ PARADE MAGAZINE, August 20, 1967 – wherein he said:

How can a “Negro Man” be expected to manage his house when he faces a platoon of females – wife – mother-in-law & daughters supported by female social workers determined to remove him from the house and rule it themselves?

“Unless and until the Negro Family Structure in America becomes a patriarchy instead of the matriarchy it now is, this country is not likely to enjoy social peace.”‘ Chronic unem- ployment meant that “[d]ependent upon women, [Negro men] soon became the object of their scorn, pity, rejection, and tyranny in addition to the contempt of their own children.” Shearer urged that “American business…adopt as a motto, ‘Give a Negro man a job,’ with the accent on the words “Negro Man”.

In the fall of 1961 several hundred astounded Alabama business owners recieved phone calls from President Kennedy – Vice President Johnson – Robert MacNamara – Bobby Kennedy and other members of the JFK Cabinet urging them to ‘Give a Negro Father a job’. The caller explained that the problem wasn’t racial, but economic and a JOB was the solution!

Some of these shocked Alabaman business owners accepted the challenge and hired hundreds of Negro Fathers saving many families from poverty and destruction.

EVERYTHING we witness today is the GOAL of the:

      demonic-marxist-feminist gulag

      No Father – No Peace

How about an extra jail term or penalty for resisting arrest?

  7. patrickd June 8, 2020 at 10:32 am #

Excellent, Jim! So many nails hit right on the head.

I watch most of the videos of police “murders” of black people, and most of them are not murder. As a rule, black people do not submit to police authority, and they resist arrest. This brings on a multitude of officers in their attempt to arrest and cuff the offender. Black people will resist to the death. It’s on YouTube. Often they cannot be cuffed and controlled until they are actually dead.

It’s the same with black-on-black murder. The only way to get a black person to shut up is to put a bullet in his or her head. They don’t back down, and only know to continually stir shit up.

It makes one wonder if there is some basis to the thought that black people are dumber than dirt. Obviously there are successful black people who do not self-destruct or murder their neighbors, but YouTube certainly features black people who are orchestrating their own demise.

When a murder does take place, however, historically the police have gotten a pass. It’s refreshing that since George Floyd, a line has been drawn – it won’t be tolerated any more – at least in a couple jurisdictions.

A good example is that kid who pulled a realistic-looking pistol on two cops who had rolled up on him in response to a 911 call of a someone waving a gun around. The kid pulled it and aimed it at the first cop to get out of the car, and was immediately shot dead. This is not murder. This is suicide by cop. Most police “murders” are actually suicides by cop. It’s just that black people are really really good at shreiking and screaming. Personally, I tune out such nonsense.

        You mean Tamir Rice?

When first described to me, I was in shock. How was that even possible? A kid in a park with a toy gun, immediately shot by cops on their arrival!

When I dug a bit more, a few more details emerged. The kid was 5’7″,195 lbs. Hmm. That’s significantly bigger than me. He had a replica of a gun, with no marker to distinguish it from a real gun. Hmm, kay. The park was in a bad sector with gang activity, and policemen had actually been killed in that very park. Hmmm. I didn’t know that. All of that made the picture, murkier. Far from good policing, still amazed of police car just screeching in and blam! blam! but maybe at least I could make sense of how it could happen

Our mainstream media, led by the NY Times, have no problem leaving out details in their reporting when such details would not help their political agenda. Newspapers and magazines are not required to practice fair and balanced reporting. I don’t think TV and radio stations are even held to such a standard, although they once were.

I think that white police ought to have no place arresting black suspects who resist. Detain the suspect until a black officer arrives. A white officer with odd affect like Chauvin using a technique from the police manual on a black suspect in a time of universal cell phone videos can no longer be permitted.

When was the last riot as a result of a black cop shooting or killing a black perp? Yeah, I cannot recall one either, although it does happen a lot.

You got a better solution? This cop was using a technique in the police manual: he was doing it “by the book.” When a plane crashes, we don’t go looking to blame the pilot: we look for the error in the procedures manual. We do the opposite with police.

“I think that white police ought to have no place arresting black suspects who resist. Detain the suspect until a black officer arrives.”

        Dr. Tom,
…sometimes I wonder about you. You do understand that “detention” is, in fact, arrest, and further it provides the same optics you are trying to avoid…only over a protracted period of time whilst the black officer is in transit.

It is an excellent idea, however, to have black cops write the paper and be responsible for the arrest. It seems that in the political arena, black civil authority is doing an exemplary job, as shown by the utopias of Detroit and Baltimore.

        We need more of this.

Yes, EF. A police officer pulling you over over a traffic offense is also arresting you. I should be clearer with my terms.

The ACLU video on talking to cops in a traffic stop (constant refrain of “Am I free to go” is a must watch) makes clear proper behavior. Do not give permission; expressly say that you do not give permission; and for God’s sake, shut up if you cannot trust yourself not to incriminate.

Once a police officer has decided to take physical custody of you, the thing most people think of as “arrest,” I see no societal profit in having a white officer handling a black suspect. The costs in looting and rioting are far too high.

          • elysianfield June 11, 2020 at 10:20 am #

” I see no societal profit in having a white officer handling a black suspect. The costs in looting and rioting are far too high.”

            Dr Tom,
Well, the looting, etc. costs are indeed high, but infrequent. When you dally at an arrest scene in areas of diversity, however, you will often see a “mini riot” if not handled expeditiously. This is a real phenomena, and occurs very often. As a rookie, I had a training officer, in my presence, receive an ass chewing from a Sergeant, for not knowing better and allowing the time line to increase during an arrest, causing an issue where further troops were required. Happens often, but never reported on.

      • Janos Skorenzy June 8, 2020 at 12:50 pm #

You just disgraced yourself. But if you’re trying to say that Blacks and Whites should separate, I agree. Letting Blacks police themselves would be a capital way to begin.

Detain? Remember they won’t stop fighting. And a huge dangerous mob armed with cameras has already formed. They’re supposed to “wait”?

Stop being desperate and therefore, ridiculous. Admit the simple fact that separation a la Jefferson et al is the way to go – the Only Way forward.

        • DrTomSchmidt June 9, 2020 at 5:27 pm #

I don’t see the point of having any white officers enforcing (meaning using force on) any black arrestees, Janos. All the cop-buddy movies I see have a black cop and a white cop. Sounds like how we will need to do things from now on, with the black cop there to physically restrain black perps, and the white cop there to defend the black cop.

Barring that, I don’t see how any law can be enforced in lower class black areas.

      • AKlein June 8, 2020 at 4:10 pm #

So, how about a little reciprocity, then? So a black cop would have to call a white cop if the suspect were white? That sounds like the “separate but equal” approach. Hmmm. How about Asians? they should be arrested by Asian cops. Etc, etc, etc. But such complication can easily be avoided by simply not hiring white cops, I suppose. The logic being that only white cops are capable of using excessive force and being brutal. It’s a shame that events in the world at large, with its many ethnicities, don’t seem to reflect this logic. Perhaps it really doesn’t actually need to be logical; perhaps it’s a creed.

        • DrTomSchmidt June 9, 2020 at 5:30 pm #

I don’t recall any other ethnic uprisings recently except black perps being arrested by white cops. So, no need to extend the system to Asians or Hispanics now.

Blacks didn’t riot in Minnesota when Philando Castile was executed by a Hispanic cop. Sometimes that happens in Miami when it’s Cuban cops arresting blacks. The only thing that consistently sets off riots is white cops with black perps.

What you are suggesting is of course separate development and I couldn’t agree more. Separate development now!

It is interesting to see that you are in agreement with the always-rational Jared Taylor. In a current Amren article, Mr Taylor lays out the facts on black and white deaths in police contacts.

Guess what? The mass media is feeding us lies. Quelle surprise!

        An excerpt…

“The media is constantly tell people the police are racist, and many people think the disturbing video of the death of George Floyd bears this out. But let’s look at the facts.

Every year, American police officers have about 370 million contacts with civilians. Most of the time nothing happens, but 12 to 13 million times a year, the police make an arrest. How often does this lead to the death of an unarmed black person? We know the number thanks to a detailed Washington Post database of every killing by the police. What is your guess as to the number of unarmed blacks killed by the police every year? One hundred? Three hundred? Last year, the figure was nine.

That number is going down, not up. In 2015, police killed 38 unarmed blacks. In 2017, 21. What about white people? Last year, police killed 19 unarmed whites, in addition to the 9 unarmed blacks. We know the number of black and white people arrested every year, so it is possible to make an interesting calculation. The chances of being unarmed, arrested, and then killed by the police are higher for whites than for blacks. For both races, it’s very rare: One out of 292,000 arrests for blacks, and out of 283,000 arrests for whites. This is hardly what we would expect from the way the media report these deaths.”

I recommend this article to any of that handful of people in Amnesia …sorry, America …today who are interested in actual facts.

        • elysianfield June 9, 2020 at 12:03 am #

“Every year, American police officers have about 370 million contacts with civilians.”

That would be every month…even then, the number of contacts would be only 12-13 each per day. Casual contacts could range to 50+ easily.

In some sense I’m in favor of BLM because I, personally, do not want to be shot by a cop, and as Jared points out, that is more likely to happen to whites than blacks. And whites never protest or riot, even when it’s a black cop killing a white perp,or just innocent victim. It’s nice to know there’s pressure to reduce police killings, and that they have In fact dropped.

Too bad about all the additional thousands of blacks killed in the aftermath of the great unpolicing of 2014. At least fewer of them were killed in police encounters.

    • K-Dog June 8, 2020 at 10:51 am #

As a rule, black people do not submit to police authority, and they resist arrest.

In articles and comments there is ubiquitous description of the good black father instructing sons on how to behave when confronted by police. Not all young black men are fortunate to have fathers so obviously many are so instructed.

Under this article and in this comment I’ll relate what my father said to me. You see blue lights you keep your hands on the wheel where they can see them and you don’t take your hands off the wheel until you get asked for license and registration.

Color does not matter. An unbalanced individual does not care about color and will mess you up for shits and grins if they have had a bad hair day no matter who you are or what you look like. So play by the rules. Play by the rules if your are white black brown or green yellow or red.

“Hello officer. what can I help you with.” <– practice if you have to.

The best policy is not to give a dangerous cop an opportunity.

            How about this:

If stopped for speeding, the cop tells you to roll down your window; you do so quickly and then with a dramatic and emotional face you begin by saying in a burst of rapid speech… “Officer, thank GOD you’re here”. Then you need to have some previously prepared and plausible bullshit story to follow it with.

        • AKlein June 8, 2020 at 4:58 pm #

Jen, I often wonder how cops nowadays have the guts to pull someone over, especially someone who is driving erratically, or even worse, aggressively. If I were a cop, I would always wonder, “what’s this character going to do? Will he open fire with that pistol he has under the seat?” It does happen. Which reminds me of those clowns who have excessively tinted driver and passenger windows. If I had to pull one of those bozos over, I know what I would do, and it certainly would not be to walk over to the driver’s door. They would get a blast from the cop car PA system telling them to get out of the car, hands high and visible, and put those hands on the roof of the car, spread their legs and don’t move. I certainly think it takes a very special person to be a good cop. It’s a scary, mostly thankless but dangerous job.

Police are a recent introduction in Western society, Walt. One inherent problem is holding them accountable, which is not difficult with citizens.

Look, we have millions of unemployed people, most of whom are not criminals, who will need jobs. They’re not qualified to work as coders, not that there’s much need for those anyway. Maybe communities pay groups of young men to walk around with baseball bats? Which communities will be able to afford that, do you think?

      • Janos Skorenzy June 8, 2020 at 12:58 pm #

And we should hire Blacks to police our neighborhoods, right Tom? Or will it be gangs of our own color as is Natural?

I assume you’re being facetious but after that last comment, who knows what you think.

        • DrTomSchmidt June 10, 2020 at 5:27 pm #

Could a community decide, Janos? Maybe even avoid paying but simply have groups of young men regularly walking through. If a white community wanted to hire a group of black young men to walk about, that would be up to them. I was thinking communities might draw from and engage their own young men in a task that is needed and meaningful, as opposed to Big Liberalism ideas of reinstating the draft to send young men far away from their communities to kill foreigners.

You can imagine it a little like Berlin, with East being governed by Communists and West by liberal Democrats, with Soviet, French, British, and American troops allowed to go anywhere within the city.

      • LagingRunatic June 8, 2020 at 1:30 pm #

“One inherent problem is holding them accountable, which is not difficult with citizens.”

You lost me. How does one keep citizens accountable, particularly without difficulty? Presumably, other citizens do so through the State’s monopoly on force, right? Laws are there to establish the boundaries of acceptable behaviors and transgressions of those laws are, what is the word, *policed.* Right?

        • DrTomSchmidt June 10, 2020 at 5:21 pm #

Citizens generally do not hold sovereign immunity. Police do. A citizen without the backing of the state is likely to be less prone to using lethal force,

As opposed to police, it’s easier to hold a sheriff accountable. In most places, they are elected, so a sheriff who abuses or tolerates the abuse of the people who pay his salary will suffer electoral consequences.

      • Kim June 8, 2020 at 11:15 pm #

What did we have before police? In London we had a type of neighborhood watch and along with that a kind of vigilantism. If someone had hi pocket handkerchief picked, he would set up a a cry of “Thief, catch him!” and people would swarm to nab the miscreant.

There were also private detectives and thiefcatchers who could seek out and return stolen goods.

But in even earlier times there was even less organized resistance to crime. In the Middle Ages, 12-16th centuries, Europe, including Britain, was aswarm with mercenary hordes that looted, raped and rules over entire provinces in any years when there wasn’t a war to pay them. It was a nightmare within a nightmare.

I am inclined to think that modern police are a much better deal.

        • DrTomSchmidt June 10, 2020 at 5:32 pm #

Think ain’t got nothing to do with it, Kim. Defund the police wasn’t even a thing a month ago. May as well play put some scenarios.

Didn’t England have the reeve of the shire, aKa sheriff, for years before there were police? One who could deputize citizens as needed for a posse? I wonder if a sheriff couldn’t do something about the current plague there of “mercenary hordes that looted, raped and ruled over entire provinces,” like Rotherham.

There is no such thing as black America. There are all kinds of blacks, and if they learned to differentiate and distinguish between themselves, so should we. Why not just lump in Jews with German Nazis? To label blacks as one group is simply RACIST.

There are certain blacks that thrive in western culture, and there are others that reject it with all their being. And I don’t blame them. Fsck white cultural imperialism! You have to respect this rejection! And you must allow people the same space you allow yourself to develop and nurture their own identity. The United States is an Empire that goes by the marketing of a confederation. It’s not a confederation! It is a forced Empire! This Empire needs to be broken up and large portions of it allocated to the Indians and black peoples that were force into this imperialist subjugation.

If I were a black leader, I’d demand half of the continental US as my own, and start my own culture and identity there. Enough of white thievery and RACIST imperialism, be it cultural or physical. Time to roll it back!

And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them. Deuteronomy 7:2

And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them. Deuteronomy 7:16

Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword. Deuteronomy 13:15

But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth. Deuteronomy 20:16-17

So smote all the country … he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the LORD God of Israel commanded. Joshua 10:40

Thus saith the LORD of hosts … go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass. 1 Samuel 15:2-3

25 years ago I calculated it would cost $100 billion to create New Israel in SW Alabama and SE Mississippi by buying the land and reimbursing the new settlers to move. All the land between I-59 and I-65 with Pascagoula as a port on the Gulf. Same square miles as Israel currently. Return Palestine to Arabs and take that thorn out of the Middle East. It seemed logical that Jewish tourists would be fawned over when they returned to visit Jerusalem

In recent days the issues of racism, discrimination, and police brutality that too often afflict Ethiopian-Israelis have catapulted into the headlines.

The spark was the videotaped beating of a uniformed Ethiopian-Israeli soldier by two police officers, which brought Israelis of many colors and backgrounds into the streets to call for an end to racism and an end to violence. Unfortunately, a few demonstrators in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv resorted to violence. The police reacted with brutal measures, leaving dozens injured and nearly 50 activists arrested to date.

What is happening in Israel right now is about race, about discrimination, and about poverty.

The fatal shooting of an unarmed teenager of Ethiopian descent has rekindled complaints of racism and discrimination by Ethiopian Jews in Israel.

Solomon Tekah, 19, was killed by an off-duty police officer last week near Haifa, triggering demonstrations among Ethiopian Jews. Demonstrators blocked roads and set tyres ablaze in several cities including Tel Aviv and Haifa amid clashes with police. Israeli authorities said scores of policemen were injured and in the violence and that more than 100 people were arrested.

The disturbance, however, has highlighted complaints by Ethiopian-Israelis of systematic discrimination, racism and being treated as “second-class citizens” in the country.

This latest shooting is one of several deaths, seemingly targeting this specific community carried out by an officer. Protests and riots erupted in Israel in places like Tel Aviv, Haifa, and occupied Jerusalem, causing further clashes with authorities. The Ethiopian community is continuing its long fight against police brutality.

Even more frightening racism towards the Ethiopian population is what can only be slated as population control. Until 2013, women were coaxed into taking birth-control injections, unaware of what they were, which led to an almost 50 percent decline in the population. “The women’s testimony could help explain the almost 50-percent decline over the past ten years in the birth rate of Israel’s Ethiopian community.

We’re passed being played by your commie/nazi shit propaganda. Next on deck will be the Arabs and Muslims, and then your party will really begin.

          • scoubidou123 June 8, 2020 at 4:12 pm #

I just have to love how one post and you’re reduced to incoherent angry sputtering denials like a six-fingered moon hoax proponent.

Israel race riots are nothing like american race riots! In fact they’re an invention of commie/nazi played by Soros-paid crisis actors!

            Squirm, akmofo, squirm!

The fatal police shooting of an unarmed Ethiopian-Israeli teenager on June 30 has set off angry and sometimes violent protests in cities across Israel, forcing a national reckoning with what black Israelis say is a history of endemic racism, especially when it comes to treatment by the police.

In 2015, after two officers were caught on video beating a young soldier of Ethiopian descent as he headed home in uniform in an apparently unprovoked assault, the government formed a commission to stamp out racism. It found discriminatory policies and practices against Ethiopian-Israelis in education, medical treatment, employment and army enlistment as well as by police. Ethiopians were indicted and jailed at far higher rates than other Israelis, it found.

Israeli President Reuven Rivlin said Ethiopian Jews’ grievances had to be addressed. The protests, he added, exposed “the pain of a community crying out over a sense of discrimination, racism, and of being unanswered. We must look directly at this open wound.”

One demonstrator told Israel’s Channel 10 television channel: “Our parents were humiliated for years. “We are not prepared to wait any longer to be recognised as equal citizens. It may take a few months, but it will happen.”

            Micha Odenheimer
Racism against Ethiopians—not the soft, condescending, low expectations kind, but the vicious kind, is alive and kicking in Israel, certainly in significant parts of its police force, in a way I had hoped and assumed it was not. A recent expose on the Kan television station made this abundantly clear

          • akmofo June 8, 2020 at 5:19 pm #

The only thing they made clear is their miserable attempts at FAKE NEWS and staged incitement. Minneapolis, MN 1950 98.4% white 1.3% black. 2010 white 63.8% black 18.6%
Minneapolis (and Minnesota as a whole) was racially homogenuous, white, orderly, topping the country in education and prosperity, and quite frankly maybe a little boring. Run by democrats and progressives for decades. Now it is burning, torn by racial hatred and riots.

But there are plenty of places where the process is more advanced and Blacks are ruling in America. Blacks took over several cities that used to be overwhelmingly white, prosperous, quiet and productive.
      Baltimore MD, 1940 80,6% white, 19.3% black. 2010 29.6% white, 63.7% black.
      Camden NJ, 1950 85.9% white, 14.0% black. 2010 17.6% white, 48.1% black.

All democrat-run for decades, black mayors and administration. The blacks have the White Man off their backs so surely they turned them into beacons of enlightened prosperity, right? Real-life Wakandas, right? Who are we kidding. No, they are symbols of urban decay, and disfunction, collapsed cities, lawless, dangerous, corrupt, where nothing works, criminal, crumbling poor, rioting, murderous rat-infested hellholes.

Quite frankly, I cannot be the only person thinking, if relocating all blacks to Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi meant never having to hear again angry hateful lectures about white supremacy and privilege and never seeing my city burn, that would be a small price to pay.

Exactly akmofo. I came from the ‘hood, got a few degrees, gave “respectability” a go, blah, blah, blah. I had to give up being near my family, friends, and for what? A system that fundamentally rejects the humanity of Black people? I have witnessed workplace racism and discrimination in EVERY place that I have worked. There is something wrong with a system where you have to create an amendment to recognize that Black people are WHOLE HUMAN BEINGS instead of 3/5 of one or someone’s else’s property. We need self-sovereignty, not mere reform. Black leadership in its various forms does not function properly because these leaders jockey for position and vye for supposedly scarce resources that white liberals (a.k.a. “progressives”) hold over them like a carrot. The US as it stands needs to crumble so that all people can gain their humanity back and not live in some zombified, corporatist world. I’m not even African-American, but it’s obvious to me. And don’t cry out about Black leadership being corrupt and how they can’t govern properly. That is seriously throwing some fucking boulders while you live in a glass house.

I’m sure that this will get some snide remarks, but seriously? Fuck this shit. Fuck imperialism with that same stick that beat Rodney King to a pulp and that sodomized Abner Louima.

it is 1969 all over again. People marching in the streets. Soliders standing at attention. Revolution is in the air. What surprises me is in 1969 the smell of marijuana wafted over the crowds. Not so in 2020.

There is another difference. The Civil Rights marchs in the 1960s the oppressed in 7 southern states showed they were Better than their Oppressors. 2020 they marched to a different tune and were shown to be criminal scum. While the so called ” Peaceful Protestors provided cover for the crimes being committed.

We are not going back to the way things were before the year 2020. A lot of familiar arrangements will not continue. Comforts and conveniences are phasing out. We don’t have time for histrionics. Can we please just respectfully bury this troubled man and get on with the tasks at hand?

It was the River Avon I think, or the harbor. That is the river which goes through Bristol where Edward Colston was dumped in the drink. I hope they have pulled him out and moved him to a warehouse under an assumed name. Perhaps an international witness protection program for bronze statues? I think I have an ancestor from there who split for New England when Colson was alive but I had never heard of Colson.

For his time he seems to have been a fine upstanding young man.

Did he ever know about this? I don’t think he ever went to sea. What did he know?

The engraving first published in Plymouth in 1788 by the Plymouth chapter of the Society for Effecting the Abolition of the Slave Trade. It has become an iconic image of the inhumanity of the slave trade.

Colson died in 1721. Sixty-seven years before the engraving.

Quite the wacky world where a theft of a pack of cigarettes in Minneapolis can lead to a bronze statue being dumped in Bristol Harbor across an ocean. Goes to show a butterfly death in the Amazon really could lead to a nuclear winter. Just add people.

Colson, the poor guy. I’m less sympathetic about Confederate statues. — Southern lizard people went for the gold and they lost.

Well stated Jim! I could not have said it better. Folks should see what a dystopic vision of Brotherly Love the city of Philadelphia, PA has become for the past 40 years. I taught high school science in one of the nation’s most poorly managed school districts. Made the decision to retire when our pre-semester professional development week centered on acknowledging the stress of academic vigor and how we could support our students further. I spent my final eight years in a competitive and selective admission high school built on a curricular theme of science, math and engineering. Less than 2% of our graduates declared college majors in those fields. In my three decades as an educator in five different schools in the district which ranged from classic urban ghetto warzone to floundering working class white neighborhood and finally to prized selective admit “magnet” school, I witnessed the district walk away from mandating punitive consequences for bad (or dangerous) behavior, implement a district-wide policy of no final recorded grade below a 50, and had to deal with absentee and verbally abusive parents who had no respect for faculty or administration The complete lack of accountability for how funds were distributed and reviewed was disgraceful.

  14. zekesdad June 8, 2020 at 10:58 am #

What we are seeing across America is the glorification of ghetto culture, a trend that’s been building for decades now. (See Norman Mailer’s essay, “The White Negro”, published int the 1950’s). The contempt for moral and legal boundaries, the glorification of criminals (gansta rap, Hollywood movies) has been going on a long time. Anything goes and nothing matters, sums it up pretty well. Another name for it is nihilism. It’s not just confined to one race, and even white politicians are falling all over themselves to drop their Gs and raise their fists in protest. Now Main St. with its burnt out, boarded up, and graffiti covered buildings look just like the ghetto. I can’t count the number of people I’ve seen on TV calling for more diversity in executive suites, board rooms, more commissions, studies, government spending, etc. None of them ever mention things like getting an education, staying out of trouble, finding a purpose, family stability or belief in a higher power, It’s always blame someone else and stay angry. In the end, no one can fix you except you.

Where are eulogies for David Dorn, a 77 year old retired policeman killed by rioters in St. Louis? Or the death of David Underwood in Oakland? Both men were black but their deaths have been ignored by the media and BLM b/c they don’t fit the narrative of systemic oppression that benefits their cause. And there are never any practical solutions proposed by them either — other than, of course, cold hard cash aka — reparations.

Underwood and another officer were shot at about 9:45 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 12th and Jefferson streets. The guards were on duty patrolling the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building, as a protest was occurring blocks away near City Hall.

Steve Storer, who coached Underwood in high school, first met him when he was a student at Collins Elementary School. Storer remembered Underwood was a soft-spoken and respectful student.

“Never had a problem with him,” said Storer. “He’s the kind of you want to be around, the kind of kid you remember 10, 20, 30 years later. I could see him getting into the law enforcement field and taking care of people — that’s the way he was.

David Dorn’s last moments were caught on video. David Dorn was a retired police captain who died during a night of violent protest. He was was trying to protect his friend’s pawn shop, his widow said.

His death came on a violent night in St. Louis, where four officers were shot, officers were pelted with rocks and fireworks, and 55 businesses were burglarized or damaged, including a convenience store that burned. Police also shot and gravely injured a burglary suspect who they say shot at officers.

St. Louis Police Chief John Hayden remembered Dorn in a Tuesday news conference as he and other St. Louis leaders discussed the chaos that took place downtown after looting.

“David Dorn was exercising law enforcement training that he learned here, so in his honor, we are wearing our mourning badge,” Hayden said.

“… David Dorn was a fine captain. Many of us younger officers looked up to him. So very well-liked and very pleasant. And his wife still works here, so a very sad time for our agency. We will honor him.”

The BBC, this AM reports big news out of Minneapolis…

The City council, concerned at the rising number of rapes and sexual assaults has decreed that henceforth, all male children born within the city limits will have their penises removed( or shortened to where penetration would become impossible), to prevent future sexual outrage. It is currently under discussion as to what measures will be taken against adult males still residing in the city.

The Council vote was unanimous in favor of the decree,,, the current serving males already having been neutered….

Someone should do a remake of the 1970 song “Ball of Confusion”. I’m sure it would be a hit. Maybe they’d have to take out the line “hippies movin’ to the hills” (how about covid victims takin’ pills?) but the rest of the lyrics are spot on for 2020!

So many random thoughts today: Saw a graffito in Beverly Hills last week on a wall on Wilshire Blvd: “White Inferiority”. Seems to me the biggest racists I’ve known have been Chinese and Latinx. There’s never any discussion about that. The truth is working class whites and most blacks have much in common. Both are lacking a cultural and ethnic identity and both groups are economically challenged. Too bad we don’t have a national leader who can articulate this. The homeless in L.A. are nothing but white and black people. Nary an Asian or Latinx in sight. They’re too busy working. Strong egos. Lucky them. Food for thought.

In other words, Whites have fallen down to the status of Blacks.

The bad apples cannot be rooted out of police forces for one simple reason: Police Unions. There was even a front page article about it in “The New York Times” on Sunday.

Fierce Protectors of Police Impede Efforts at Reform

Maybe defunding the police is not a bad idea. They should at least threaten to do that until they make police unions illegal. The times story describes how in St. Louis any attempt to reform the police was met with a work slow down and a rise in crime. “It operates a little bit like a protection racket..” said one of the reformers. I’m not confident they can end this for the simple reason that it goes against the liberal mind-set of most people running big cities. After all, it’s the unions that fund the campaigns of the politicians that are supposed to oversee them. The same is true of teachers’ unions.

      • Janos Skorenzy June 8, 2020 at 1:34 pm #

Another bad idea. All cops would quit and get into private security. Whites will begin to patrol with baseball bats, golf clubs, and AR15’s – and will be perfectly justified in doing so. Moral High Ground? Yeah, the Himalayas.

Other groups will do the same. America would break up. Hey maybe you have something there…..

It would certainly promote diversity. And that’s good, right?

    Just another ridiculous color revolution.
Useful idiots being used to bring in global governance funded by the Soros/Rockefeller crowd among many others.

    Nothing new here.

The only way to force change is to destroy our system of Government something the dumbest among us here on this board should know is bad.

    How do they do that?
By making things so bad anything will seem better,
A good start is to burn down anything that provides a service.
This series of confrontation seems so scripted its painful to see how many people have been brainwashed into thinking this is going to end well.

  22. PeteAtomic June 8, 2020 at 11:40 am #

Too many people in urban America are too addicted & enslaved to the largesse generally lumped together as “social services” for any meaningful reform. This is why, in part, the city council in Minneapolis might stop funding the police department and shift the money to social services.

The economic shutdown has meant a big decrease in city tax revenue. So, cities across the US are going to be forced to decide where to spend their remaining coins. Most urban centers have restive, benefit dependent black populations at their cores– a demographic that might riot & continue to destroy the small businesses in their neighborhoods at any moment.

Blacks in urban America are like the nation’s aderrall addicted, developmentally disabled child. They are incapable of taking care of themselves. In many cases, activities of daily living like brushing their teeth, or combing their hair– are difficult. They lash out occasionally against the fingers that feed them– grasping for a new pair of Nike sneakers behind the shop windows. They need armies of social workers & community organizers & case workers & parole officers & pastors & home health aides & tutors & Big Brothers & Big Sisters & mentors & many others– just to wobble along, clickety clackety as their metal crutches scuttle along the broken up sidewalk.

Then you have their “allies”– which really means co-dependent friends of a junkie. This group is largely liberal white people who hate themselves because of things that occurred in early 20th century history. They kneel & babble incoherently about vague feelings of guilt & remorse about things they never did– they accept crimes they never committed. They allow people to smash their heads with 2 X 4s.

If you want to help a junkie, you stop feeding him drugs when he asks you for them. He needs to withdrawal. Most importantly, he needs to want to stop using. Black America isn’t ready for that yet.

  23. Beryl of Oyl June 8, 2020 at 11:49 am #

What helps much more than cash, what DID “help”, was the ready availability of work that paid a living wage.

A factor that is overlooked, which had a small but significant effect on the fortunes of the black population in America, was the Viet Nam War.

When the war first began, there were exemptions for those in school. I don’t think blacks who were in some cases just joining the working class, went to school in the same percentages as white males. It wasn’t considered as important, then. It certainly wasn’t a necessity for getting any white collar job.
So, marriageable black men tended to go off to Viet Nam. Some did not come home alive. This reduced the number of husbands available to black women.

Someone here recently pinpointed 1970 as the peak year for America. If you look at how blacks were doing then, they were on an upward trajectory, until things started to decline for everyone.

Another factor, which I saw firsthand, is that education in America quit being about learning and started being about equality of outcomes. I had many black classmates. Most did okay, many did as well or better than I, and some of course didn’t do well at all. Neither did many whites, but they tended to either take vocational courses and graduate, or drop out and enter the workforce.
I think the push for everyone to go to college had its roots partly in the student deferment for the war.
Also certain types of white people couldn’t let well enough alone, if not every single black kid was headed to Harvard on a scholarship, that wasn’t good enough for them.
So the meddling to “help” started”.

    • Beryl of Oyl June 8, 2020 at 11:50 am #

      No quotes after “started”.

    • Janos Skorenzy June 8, 2020 at 1:39 pm #

Yes, a real Black Lives Matter movement would mean a complete end to all Hispanic immigration. Blacks need those jobs.

Be sure and mock Hispanics as newly minted White boys who have to bow to Blacks now. We need to get those two groups fighting each other.

The gibs are in limited supply. The Blacks are grabbing what remains. The Hispanics are going to be out of luck unless they act fast or muy rapido.

Every year David Foster Wallace, recognized as one of our greatest writers while alive, lectured to his Freshman English classes on the importance of speaking the King’s English correctly. He was generally ridiculed by academic apologists or proponents of Ebonics for doing so. He couldn’t have been more correct, however, and I’d wager that many blacks who’ve made significant strides in science, literature, politics or business would tell you exactly the same thing.

George Floyds death was caused by a break down of the justice system. This is speculation, but I’ll betcha he did only a fraction of the time he was given for his various convictions. If he served full time he would likely still be in jail, and alive.

And that said white man is bewildered by that inability? Dial back the pretentious attempts to sound smart-woke and simply say what you mean. 27. Anon1970 June 8, 2020 at 12:11 pm #

Watch this video from Candace Owens, a black conservative:

The mainstream media has made George Floyd into a hero. It has failed to inform readers/viewers that Mr. Floyd was not the hero that black people should look up to, that in fact he had a long rap sheet for past crimes including drug dealing and a home invasion robbery in which a pregnant black woman was robbed and terrorized.

As Candace notes in her video, blacks are much more likely to become homicide victims at the hands of black criminals than at the hands of the police. In Chicago, there have been a total of three police involved homicides of all races so far in 2020. From noon Friday to 6 am Monday of the last weekend in May, heyjackass.com reported 29 murders and most appeared to have taken place in heavily black neighborhoods such as Garfield Park, Austin and Englewood. While most of Chicago’s police force appeared to have been on riot duty downtown that weekend, criminals gangs used the opportunity to settle scores.

    • rainmaker June 8, 2020 at 12:25 pm #

Look, America is the land of second chances and such applies even to the least of us.

BUT… per Owens and others —

That the actual facts of white-police-on-black interactions are ignored or relegated to forbidden speech causes one to wonder if there really is an Agenda driven by — what? whom? How do we explain the New York Times?

      • Anon1970 June 9, 2020 at 2:07 pm #

The NY Times is biased in the stories it covers or does not cover and in the facts that it chooses to report or withhold.

I’ve been reading this blog going on ten years now but I’ve never commented – until now.

In the late ’90’s I found myself teaching history and government in an inner city school. I was a brand new teacher and the way it works is that the newest teachers with the least amount of experience are sent to the schools that need veteran teachers. Naturally.

The school I found myself in was depressing. I was locked in my classroom with my students and I had a button under my desk that would bring in an armed policeman should things get out of hand. The windows were all opaque to keep people outside of the school from shooting at the students. Parents and students were not allowed to attend sporting events because of the gang violence.

Probably the first thing I noticed was that my seniors were functionally illiterate. They could neither read their textbook nor understand most of what came out of my mouth. Over time I would learn that this was because modern pop culture had told them that reading, writing and math were “white oppression” and to know how to read was “acting white” and acting white might get you beat down or worse. No one dared participate in class out of fear.

The other teachers were resigned to this fact and let the students do whatever they wished so long as they were not too noisy. As for myself, I still had that Can Do! attitude that comes with military service. I was gonna fix thing!

The first problem I thought I might tackle was Ebonics. It was a very big issue back then but I knew that Microsoft, Ford and IBM didn’t speak the language of Ebonics. My approach was this: Learn corporate America speak as you would a second language. Well, this did not make any of the administrators I came into contact with happy at all. See, they were losing kids to charter schools and they did not want me to piss in the punch bowl. At that time, each warm body brought in $12,000 per year. Consequently, I was to NEVER correct a student when they spoke Ebonics.

Of course, I didn’t listen and I started to teach some basic literacy skills in my classroom. This angered my superiors so much that they transferred me to an even worse school which was something I didn’t think could exist. This place didn’t even have opaque windows but looked like a concrete bunker. Active shooter drills, scares and events occupied most of my time.

I didn’t stay at that school long opting, instead, to teach in prison. At least the students wanted to come to class. I did this until the State cancelled the program and replaced it with pharmaceuticals to keep their prison population “quiet”.

Those kids today are now pushing 40 years old. Given how complex the world has become I can’t imagine that they did very well for themselves as it must be very difficult to get a good paying job or open your own business if you can’t read.

The majority of the blame for this must go to Hollywood and the Liberal Elites that pushed the meme that learning was bad and that the only thing that really mattered was brand loyalty. After all, who else had the power to influence these kids if not Hollywood, the Record Labels and the Fashion Industry? They condemned these kids to a lifetime of poverty.

      Hello, NickelthroweR,

Thanks for relating your experience. I frequently read about “horrible schools”, or “schools where violence is a problem”, but found it almost hard to believe your testimony of schools sinking to such a low level, that violence and illiteracy are not just common, but almost universal.

Is there anything that you have read, books, articles, something online, that you have found to match your experience that you could recommend? I would like to learn more about this, more extensively than just a few paragraphs.

      • NickelthroweR June 8, 2020 at 2:32 pm #

I found this to be such a harrowing experience that I quit teaching after only 2 years (as 80% of all new teachers do). My other love is media and I’ve spent the last two decades knee deep in music, film and advertising. It is where I obtained my understanding of how this all happened. After all, when approached to do a project, the first words out of my mouth are “who is my target?”

Here is an article from the Detroit News explaining how tough it is to have a city where 50% of the residents are illiterate. Might be a good place for you to start. https://www.detroitnews.com/story/opinion/2018/03/07/reading-detroit-schools-beyond-basics/32717301/

I have the benefit of 65 years of intimate involvement with this demographic. 30 + years for me, and 35 years for my parents. I grew up listening to the daily war stories of life in the ‘hood., and then spent 30 plus years literally with the same job my father had. JHK is completely on target. This is generational dysfunction wrought by the Democrats. They have produced a Hobbesian nightmare- the war of all against all. If this continues, we go the way of Rawnda.

      • SW June 8, 2020 at 8:00 pm #

2016 was a watershed moment in the Democratic party with the stoking of resentment of every imaginable wrong and creating it too — all to be exploited by Clinton and fellow travelers. It backfired on her much to her rage and whetted her appetite for revenge. The Democrats are now willing to “destroy the country in order to save it”.

I heard Colin Powell on TV about an hour ago saying Trump was a liar while he knows that he lied to justify the invasion and destruction of Iraq. And the many speakers who willfully ignore the reality of George Floyd’s character and lie to advance their own agenda. I don’t think anyone can heal this rift that been heating up for 3 years.

  29. Karah June 8, 2020 at 12:36 pm #

We see how literacy/allocution plays a part in the classification of whites in Britain in the story My Fair Lady. It is a real thing and they were not afraid to address it by putting a Cinderella spin on it…happy endings are great!

Then you have Huckleberry Finn and the use of the southern black vernacular in mass print. Wasn’t Samual Clemens criticized for that?

Hip hop seems to be the artistic rendering of urban black vernacular. Cockney rhyming slang prevents the uninitiated from participating and understanding. Cockneys are trying to obfuscate their plans from the cops who can overhear. Could this be what hip hop/rap is designed to do?

Is Gil Scott-Heron understandable? He did not like or participate in Hip Hop.

I lived in Atlanta back in the 70’s through the mid 80’s. Ted Turner owned a local uhf station with local programming including a black music/dance show hosted by James Brown. Once he presented a very special guest: Tiny Tim, who sang his hit Tiptoe through the Tulips. The camera panned the crowd and the facial expressions were priceless. What is this white thing with beaked nose and long dirty hair playing the ukulele singing falsetto? Brown interviewed him briefly afterward following anemic to non-existent applause from the puzzled throng, then Tim was shortly on his way and the event was seared in my memory. Mr. Kunstler,

There is no way to say this gently. Today’s blog is wrong in at least two instances, not wrong in the sense that I disagree (though I do), but wrong in the old-fashion, demonstrable sense.
    1. You write, “because cash assistance is forbidden where there is ‘a man in the house.”’ The man-in-house condition for welfare payments was struck down by the Supreme Court in 1968 (King v. Smith). The children who might have been affected by that condition are now receiving Social Security.
    2. You write that “many black children cannot succeed in school because they do not speak English correctly…. If your language dispenses with grammatical form ….:” You appear to be confusing the many varieties of African-American English (AAE) with pidgins. Pidgins use grammatically simplified forms to assist communication among people who don’t share a common language. AAEs are not pidgins, but, as linguists have long-recognized, full natural languages, able to express, like all human languages, anything humanly expressible. You might be tempted to call them dialects of English, but if you did, you would be assigning them second-class status not for something intrinsic to the languages, but something contextually true. The Yiddish scholar and sociolinguist, Max Weinreich, is famous for a maxim that all students of linguistics learn on the first day of class: “A dialect is a language with an army and a navy.” You could make the trivial case that full participants in any culture must speak the dominant language, much as many older Italians speak a local language as well as the standard language, Tuscan Italian, as it happens. That is quite a different thing than asserting that AAEs dispense “with grammatical forms.”
    Paul De Palma

If that’s so, then why do so many speakers of AAE say, know what I mean? every other sentence?
The answer is obvious: they suspect that others don’t know what they mean.

    • Billy Hill June 8, 2020 at 1:58 pm #

Now translate your post into AAE.

    • Janos Skorenzy June 8, 2020 at 2:01 pm #

As Al Gore said, inverting the meaning of E Pluribus Unum, “Out of one, many”. Why should different groups be able to talk to each other in a Nation? Mr De Palma makes a very fine point – oh, that’s just his head.

Maybe Gore was trying to hid his Globalism? No one believes less in diversity than the Globalists of course. “Out of many, one” is their core belief. There’s no room left for separate nations, ethnic groups, or races” in their world view.

As a black man I’m just going to say this one statement. For black people and I suspect the american indian, there is a whole lot of stuff written on paper, that doesn’t mean it’s so. I’m sure you are right about the law, but that is NOT what is reality. I lived in those communities and see it every day. Just because there is a law a poor person can’t go get a lawyer and fight. I knew someone who was on social security disability who made $3000 dollars working part time and was kicked off. He had to move to another state, the case worker shook her head said nothing and reinstated him, because she knew some administrator had denied him because he had the audacity to help himself.

  35. newworld June 8, 2020 at 1:44 pm #

I’ll just drop the most radical comment posted here, “I don’t care.” And I advise others to stop “caring” as well, it will help everyone. “Caring” is a trap.

One more important point in improving discourse, if by chance you are a white straight Christian male with no protected class status, when confronted by the usual demand that you “Care” ask instead what it is in it for you and your loved ones and don’t settle for any BS abstract jibber jabber.

Now go back to your wailing and whining.

Well, I’ve significantly girded my loins, and I find your arguments severely lacking in perspective and your statements ignorant to the reality for black America. The ghettoization of language is a definite point to be address in the educational system, as are many other problems in education you’ve consistently addressed on your blog, in accordance with your expertise. I can even concede that there currently is some vaguery to BLM’s platform other than defunding the police, an institution that is only the street face of our American Empire. But to say as you have that, “the only truly systemic dynamic in their plight is the campaign by the government, ongoing for more than fifty years, to uplift them with… (etc.)” Am I to understand that you believe if we the American people and the government who represents us had simply not created social programs and decided to not celebrate of black figures, all would be well? From this line of thinking, I can imagine you might make the argument that if we would just stop giving the Native Americans all that money, never mind yesteryear’s policy of destruction and containment our goverment applied to them, they wouldn’t have all the problems they have. Your argument reeks of the familiar “welfare queen” trope, but really, can you speak to which came first: the mother who kicks out the husband because she wants to money, which then (I guess?) leads to him in prison; or he goes to prison because “they commit crimes” so she needs the cash assistance to support her children? You imply, sometimes not so subtly that blacks have just as much desire to maintain the current system as the system itself. “…Customs and rituals, such as giving over young black men to prison as an initiation to manhood.” Do you think blacks prefer this particular “ritual,” or would happily join the rest of America in non-incarcerated related rituals if actually given a chance? “Why are the sent to prison? Because they commit crimes.” Very Nixonian of you, Mr. Kunstler. By your logic then, blacks appear to predisposed to crime, since they are incarcerated at five times the rate of whites. “No pleas arose from leaders in black communities across the land to stop the disgraceful behavior.” It would be helpful, Mr. Kunstler, to research your statements before you make them; please google Killer Mike Atlanta protests. Maybe you were referring to Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, since your reference for the world seems to be the year 1985; we know they haven’t led much of a community for a while…but who would blame them? The people who did either were assassinated or imprisoned in mass. “Does black America really want to fully participated in our national life, or do they want to remain an oppositional faction with in it, dependent, resentful, and violent?” I don’t think I could sum up the place of privilege you come from better than this question. I could ask you the same question; do you want to fully participate, Mr. Kunstler? Of course you do. Were you awarded all the opportunities to do so, albeit by your own bootstraps? Certainly. Do you have stake in this country and it’s way of life? Yes. Do you believe black people have been given just as much as chance to have the same stake as you? “Apparently so.” If so, would you care to theoretically switch place with a black man and enjoy their status for a few days? I think not. God forbid, you might start “committing crimes.”

In other words, they want to dominate. But we can’t let them dominate. Why would we? Affirmative Action is simply the persecution of Whites.

So why not give them their own nation in the Deep South?

I wonder what Michael Rockefeller would say about defunding the Minneapolis Police Department?

“Pep didn’t hesitate. He was surrounded by relatives and fellow villagers, and his status was built on how bold he was, how many people he killed, how many heads he took. He howled and arched his back and drove his spear into the white man’s floating ribs. Michael screamed, groaned a deep, inhuman sound. They hauled him up into the canoe, blood spurting from the wound. They knew what they were doing, had done it dozens of times before, were following sacred rules that prescribed every step of what they were about to do, rules that defined them. Made them men. Made them whole. For they were about to take his power, become him, and restore balance to the world. The fifty men rowed south on the Arafura Sea, standing up in a line in each canoe, the most important men at the stern and bow, the places of hardest work. Their shoulders and triceps rippled; sweat poured off their chests and foreheads; their backs glistened in the sun. They sang, shouted “Wo! Wo! Wo!” as they clacked their paddles on the sides of the canoe and blew bamboo horns that sounded like eerie foghorns. They laughed. They chanted “Wo! Wo! Wo!” over and over again. They were filled with adrenaline and purpose, the white man’s hot blood mixing with the water in the canoe, sloshing around their bare feet. A few miles south of the Ewta River, they turned left, into a barely perceptible cut in the shoreline. Here the ocean was silvery over the black mud, long banks of which ran along the shore. The jungle was thick green on all sides, nipa palm and mangrove roots like claws in the water. Flocks of sulfur-crested cockatoo flew overhead, screaming. The cockatoos ate fruit, and Pep and Fin and Ajim were like them, for they, too, ate fruit—human heads. Human heads were the fruit of men and powerful symbols of fertility, precious seeds that blossomed, grew, died, and from which new men sprouted. As they turned into the inlet—a deserted, beautiful place with small white waves rolling in, the mud shining in the sun and the river water brown, a place that had never seen an engine or a radio, a place where the spirits dwelled—they were about to acquire a powerful new seed: Michael Rockefeller’s head. There was no beach, just a brief shoreline of thick, soft mud the color of ash. They dragged the white man out of the canoe and slapped him on his skull. “This is my head!” screamed Fin, as the others gathered around, shouting and taunting. Michael was limp, gravely injured, blood oozing from his mouth, matting his wet beard. Fin and Pep and Ajim held his chest off the ground and pushed his head forward and with one blow of an ax in the back of his neck, Michael Rockefeller was dead. Ajim turned him over and thrust into his throat with a bamboo knife, then pressed the head back until the vertebrae cracked. Man, pig, it was all the same now—Michael was sacred meat. As others gathered dead branches from the forest and lit them with coals from the canoe, Fin made a deep cut from Michael’s anus to his neck, through one side of his trunk to his armpit, across the collarbone to his throat, and down the other side, exactly as the ancestors had instructed them how to butcher a man. Blood ran everywhere, soaking their hands, clotting on their arms, spattering their legs. Flies too, buzzing and swarming by the thousands. Fin broke Michael’s ribs with an ax, put his hand underneath his sternum, ripped it loose, and put it aside. Ajim twisted his legs and arms and cut them off and then pulled out Michael’s entrails with a vigorous jerk. Fifty voices chanted and sang in unison, a powerful, earthy rhythm that might have been the pulse of the mud and the trees themselves. It was sacred violence. The fire was crackling and smoking and hot, and the pieces of meat were placed in it to roast. When it was done, they pulled the charred legs and arms out of the fire, tore the meat off the bones, and mixed it with crumbly whitish-gray sago into long sticks for everyone to eat. Their hands were slippery with precious grease and fat, some of which they saved in small woven bags. If this had been a normal killing of a fellow villager just a few years earlier, they would have taken the body back to the village for the elaborate, shameless ritual that should ensue. But times were changing. This was a white man, and this had to be done now, here, in secret. They held the head over the fire just long enough to scorch the hair. Fin took the burned hair and mixed it with the blood they’d saved, which they all smeared over each other’s heads, shoulders, and bodies, even their anuses. They were coated in Michael Rockefeller. When the head was cooked, they scalped it, cut across its face from the root of the nose to the nape of the neck, and as they did this they talked about what Michael had been doing when he was alive. “He was eating fish yesterday,” said Pep. “He was swimming,” said Fin, “and now he is dead.” Ajim cut a hole about two inches in diameter into Michael’s right temple with a stone ax. The ax had a name, a new one. Its name was Mike. They shook the brains out onto the leaf of a palm, scraped inside the skull with a knife to get every last bit, then mixed the mass with sago, wrapped the leaf up, and roasted it on the fire. This food was special. Only Pep, Fin, Ajim, and Dombai, the most senior men there, ate it. It tasted rich. It was hard to be full in Asmat, and they were all now full. Finally they could rest, sleep without fear. They wrapped the skull in banana leaves, tucked it into Fin’s canoe, and paddled home.”

Thank you, Puck. We need to know this. White people have been utterly mislead by Boasian Anthropology which doesn’t talk about cannibalism, but only how great Non-Whites supposedly are.

Albert Schweitzer’s mission saved a Tribe who were being conquered and literally eaten by a new tribe that had established itself in the area.

Schweitzer, the Mother Theresa of his time, was thrown down the memory hold for not worshiping the people he spent his life helping. He didn’t think that much of them in the end. Didn’t think they deserved their freedom, at least not yet. Needless to say, Liberals and Black Nationalists despised him. And needless to say, his words have proven prophetic.

In the prologue of Jared Diamond’s “Guns Germs and Steel, he talks about a local Papuan politician named “Yali”, who asks him the question “Why is it you white people developed so much cargo, but we black people had little cargo of our own?”. Diamond states that the Papuans are just as intelligent as whites, but that the third world in general is just the victim of bad luck and evil colonialism. What is does not say, is that Yali’s father was likely a fan of the “long pork”

Next to do for any human after well-learning English, or any other mother language, is to understand what is the role of Energy in Life and the Tragedy of the Commons – and that will get us a future away from Slavery.

    The Magna Carta-Overhauling Movement – The Right for Humans to Understand What Energy Really Is;

Understanding The Physics behind The Tragedy of the Commons will avoid humans savagely-slaving each other, regardless of the colour of their skin:

    • Janos Skorenzy June 8, 2020 at 2:50 pm #

Have you watched Moore’s “Planet of Humans”? Do you agree that alt-energies are basically a joke and a scam? That we have to go back to the steam age to survive?

Moore et al didn’t say what you are saying about steam engines.

Instead, he has called for the reduction of the number of humans on Earth, I understood (I wish he listened to you).

Physics doesn’t tell humans what to do.

It is up to humans to decide how to negotiate with the Laws of Physics to survive – smartly or stupidly.

The harshest of all of those Laws of Physics is the-nicknamed The Tragedy of the Commons-by-Physics:

Teaching in schools? Learn proper English? Learn anything?

Does anyone truly believes that education is the primary objective in schools in certain districts and locations?

The schools are foremost surrogate parents. The schools are there for meals, structure, discipline. To keep kids off the streets and out of trouble.

A discussion isn’t genuinely honest unless it entails the acknowledgment of the total and utter failure of the socio-economically depressed modern black culture.
    Roughly 1960’s onward.

Poverty, crime, welfare, prison, single-parenting, teen parenting, snitches get stitches, it’s only an injustice if it ain’t black on black.

America’s historical legacy of slavery, racism, and soft bigotry of no expectations is assuredly to blame, but ignoring that your culture is a product of it and refusing to change it is inexcusable.

  44. My Point of View June 8, 2020 at 3:10 pm #

Jim posits a 2-part question: “Does black America really want to fully participate in our national life, or do they want to remain an oppositional faction within it, dependent, resentful, and violent?”

    Part ONE.

“Does black America really want to fully participate in our national life,…”

IMO and work experience the bulk of black America want exactly that.

    Part TWO.

“…or do they want to remain an oppositional faction within it, dependent, resentful, and violent?”

Some do, but are vastly outnumbered by the mass of MAGA-hatted morons who voted for Trump because they are dependent, resentful, and violent in their own manner and want to be an oppositional force that burns it all down, i.e., burn down government so it can’t do anything for people of color or women (especially healthcare, education, etc).

The rural MAGA crowd has twice the urban dependence on disability programs — it’s a growth industry in rural America. Then there’s Federal dairy price supports, Federal-paid crop insurance, and a host of other Federal funds and giveaways to farmers, ranchers and dairy operators. The best paying jobs in MAGA la-la-land are often at military bases located there, other federal jobs along the waterways etc. Yet these nimrods buy into the “hate government” meme.

The rural MAGA crowd is resentful of the urban area middle class life, with good educations, well paying jobs, IRA accounts, nice homes, health insurance, good cars, etc. They couldn’t hack it a day in Silicon Valley or most any urban area so they hide in hick towns as they ridicule and resent those who are successful. They pulled themselves out of the mainstream and then want to blame others that the world is passing them by.

The rural MAGA crowd implies violence as they wave their silly guns for camera crews. They’ve been sold both a bill of goods about who is harming them and fed a diet of fear by those who want to control their votes. Then they sell these rubes more guns and lots of ammo to waste down at the range, yucking it up with their pals and drinking Everclear.

Those MAGA hats cover crippled minds incapable of critical thinking, rational thought, planning, learning, investing, ethics, morality and they con themselves into actually voting against their own best interests. Sad? You betcha.

Where did I say I hate farmers? I did not and do not.

I hate that many rural types are dismissive of city dwellers, and especially the government, all the while taking guv’mint money hand over fist but hating that guv’mint money might help a person of color. Been that way a long time, nothing new.

Some very clear observations MPOV … farmers in particular, but small-town “Real Americans” generally, have always carried a lot of emotional and political freight – and in fact voting systems reflect that strong bias.

At some levels, I do understand their frustration that cities are the centres of wealth creation, and much of the fun & prosperity of the last century has passed them by. But OTOH, they do make choices about living in rural and regional areas – no-one really forces them to – and they do get huge collateral benefits.

But it is really sad (and ironic) to see rural MAGAs rail against “big government” (and all that the term implies), but meanwhile they are huge users of Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Unemployment Benefits, Disability Benefits, Veteran Benefits, and much else.

I guess it’s been that way for decades – in fact probably for centuries or millennia … back to when the high priests in Babylon looked down upon the poor peasant rubes out there cutting wheat and picking olives.

Ahhhh no. Putting George on mailbox money in an old Texas whistle stop five miles from an interstate for the rest of his life a month ago would have saved several lives. It would have been a bargain. Lots of people would have chipped in. It would have been a crowdfunding slam dunk.

So then, the world is not a better place without George. If George were still here other lives would still be here too. On second reflection mailbox money and a move to Texas isn’t even needed. All that would have had to have happened is for Derek Chauvin not to have put his damn knee on the mans neck and for George to still be here.

What did St. Floyd believe in?

Did he leave behind letters and manifestos on Facebook or a blog? Floyd is my contemporary (I am 43 and Texan). When we were growing up with the mainstream media babysitter Sesame Street and PBS and public schooling and graduating to 48 Hours with Eddie Murphy and Lethal Weapon with Glover…we were all equally edumicated and equally moral and equally opportunistic. I grew up near Dallas and he grew up near Houston. Our options to get out of poverty were “higher” education paid for by loans or a scholarship OR joining the armed forces OR working for our parents in their small business (making up 44% of our current economy). Like him, higher education did not work out for me. Unlike him, I did not resort to crime and drugs (unless you count writing a bad check one day because it was 14 cents short! No one called the cops on me, thank God! And I was addicted to corn chips for years).

In summary, people like benr are coming to the conclusion that St. Floyd, like all saints, are better off DEAD. That’s a terrible thing to say about anyone.

All the excellent points you make JHK ought to be common sense but America, or at least its elites, have developed an aversion to common sense, maybe because the elites strive so hard to be uncommon.

When you have an elite so far removed from everyday reality that it denies the most self-evident facts of life (that men and women are born that way, that male children need fathers if they are not to grow up as either sissies or savages, that it is adults who form children and not the other way round, that cultural norms that have been around for millennia are not to be blithely dismissed as “social constructs” that can be amended at will …), you have the proverbial fish rotting from the head down.

Something like this happened in prerevolutionary France when the creme de la creme became enamored with the “progressive’ intellectuals of their day. We all know how that ended.

Everyone in the world – whether “religious” or not – needs to perform a Mass Confession.

All of us… all people, all races, all cultures, all nations, all “tribes”… have done wrong in this world in some form – or many forms. We are all guilty of something. Or many things. We all need to acknowledge that fact in the deepest part of our souls. It’s not just “Them” or “The Other” (in whatever form “They” appear to us at the moment) that have failings. It is the face looking back at us in the mirror every day. We must let that fact sink in and do so deeply. We all need to show honest contrition for our dehumanizing acts and human failures and ask for forgiveness from all those we have hurt.

But we don’t just wallow in that (stuff) forever, either. We’ve all been wronged by many others and we all have to let whatever that (stuff) is go or we just go on regurgitating pain and guilt for no good reason. Our sins of the past have to be fully acknowledged and addressed and then permanently left behind for far better destinations. We cannot go on lugging heavy traveling bags filled with pain and garbage because the flight to the future is now loading at the airport gate and we aren’t allowed to have that crap in our luggage anymore.

We cannot allow our (some would say) human “destiny” to become better beings and societies to be foreclosed and buried under the heavy weight of past sins that time has placed outside of our current reach and which contribute absolutely nothing positive to our individual and collective futures. Or, have so many of us become to addicted to pain, suffering, and victimhood that we have no other identity left to ourselves or our society and we can see no other future? Do we curse our pain and suffering and the hurts caused upon us by others (and ourselves) only to go on clutching these ever tighter to our chests while enthusiastically using them as a clubs upon others to go on hurting others and ourselves today and in the future?

Each and every one of us answers those questions every day and every moment whether we realize it or not with our thoughts and deeds. And we will reap the crop we plant.

Don’t fuck with a man’s ride. A bottle is smashed on the windshield a moment before. Looks to me the driver perhaps originally was freaked out and wanted to get away from the fun and games?

If he was then he was also confused because he was driving right into the action. Some people should not have guns. The intersection where he hit the barrier is one block west of the East Precinct and at the southeast corner of Cal Anderson Park which, in our Capital Hill neighborhood is the equivalent of Red Square with grass.

It is where the local game is played. To those about to be gassed we salute you.

If I go to Capital Hill this is where I wind up parking. Free parking along the east side of Cal Anderson Park if you can get it. Only 100 feet away through the intersection and the southwest corner of the park is closest to the Vita Coffeeshop which is where I liked to graze and gaze once upon a time before Covid-19. Civilization ending events right now not withstanding, ordinary day-to-day carnage and bloodshed in the ‘Community’ carries on unimpeded. Two separate fatal stabbings today in ‘The Community’ in Middletown, and a brother gunned down in New Haven. This is just one day and the day is not over yet. One has to wonder, how long can a civilization carry on like this? No amount of police reform will change such behavior, in fact will most likely make things worse.

“German Official Leaks Report Denouncing Covid-19 As “A Global False Alarm”

“The dangerousness of Covid-19 was overestimated: probably at no point did the danger posed by the new virus go beyond the normal level.”

“The people who die from Corona are essentially those who would statistically die this year, because they have reached the end of their lives and their weakened bodies can no longer cope with any random everyday stress (including the approximately 150 viruses currently in circulation).”

“Worldwide, within a quarter of a year, there has been no more than 250,000 deaths from Covid-19, compared to 1.5 million deaths [25,100 in Germany] during the influenza wave 2017/18.”

“The danger is obviously no greater than that of many other viruses. There is no evidence that this was more than a false alarm.”

Yup. I said so almost from day one. None of it made any sense, unless there was an agenda behind it all, which there was.

You can laugh at the deaths of 250,000 people, and the illness of millions more? That’s very sick. And I repeat once again … without isolation and physical distancing strategies, the coronavirus could have killed a million or more. Its success is self-evident.

Those right-wing rags like the pompously named “America Talks” can’t stand the realities of government action based on scientific knowledge working effectively, and saving lives.

It undermines their whole corrosive “small-government is good” narrative – which is nothing but code for the rich and privileged to get away with theft and murder.

No thanks … and I’ll wait for the sober, peer-reviewed papers on the whole Covid-19 pandemic, and the lessons learned.

Well, I am a bit confused.

A rejoinder of mine to a post of Janos’s disappeared…I do not know if it was untoward, or somehow offensive…or just a glitch in the system?

Janos was asking Mofo what tree he would like to see planted in his name at some Israeli site or another…I opined that it was unfair to ask him at this time, as his mind would surely change having experienced the level of diversity that we were prepared to send.

I suggested that the tree that Mofo would eventually select would be one that was capable of bearing “strange fruit”.

A joke, of course, but I thought it clever as hell….

    But apparently I was wrong.

    • K-Dog June 8, 2020 at 6:19 pm #

What we now see is a descent of the mass into ever lower spheres of the “intellect”. We are no longer a literate society as language in general is replaced with signs and icons and speech with images.

The operation of software applications is the typical example. You have icons and follow arbitrary patterns that have been established by someone without logical reason and so there is no logic in what you do.

Generally now the flow of reasoned argument is completely alien to a very large portion of our society. Add to this the total fragmentation of information presented by the media. It’s a bit like being in the middle of an explosion where the pieces fly at you but you no longer know what the whole was from which they originated.

Maybe as a consequence of this painful experience of the chaotic many can no longer bear external input (like listening to someone else) and instead live in a solipsistic monologue.

This is an extreme degradation of the human being in western societies. It is highly questionable that such people will be up to the task of facing severe problems of all sorts.

    • tucsonspur June 8, 2020 at 6:24 pm #

People hate me for being so logical. But as Virginia Woolf said, “What does the brain matter compared with the heart?”

    • K-Dog June 8, 2020 at 6:32 pm #

Solipsistic monologues with digital help but you are too quick to throw the dummy-down blanket on all. The patterns are far from arbitrary and are heavily instrumented. For purposes only the shadow knows, but that is another story. Consider that a person who is comfortable with a few markups may have an insight into grammar and document structure that a more pedestrian acquaintance with language will have.

If your language dispenses with grammatical form — such as the difference between the expression of past, present, and future — you’re liable to suffer cognitive disadvantages which result in doing poorly”

Past, present, and future tense with algorithm too.

    • Shiva Dance June 8, 2020 at 7:22 pm #

Exactly right. New technologies and weaponized ideologies are creating a bizarre and chaotic new anti-civilization. The human brain, particular among the uneducated, low IQ/impulse control crowd, has basically been hacked by these technologies, such that we can expect endless waves of hysteria all the time. The current systems of power don’t seem up to maintaining order much longer. Not sure where this is headed, maybe it’s a postmodern, high tech dark age falling. Or a Lovecraftian descent into madness, with the technosphere playing the role of the Great Old Ones:

“The time would be easy to know, for then mankind would have become as the Great Old Ones; free and wild and beyond good and evil, with laws and morals thrown aside and all men shouting and killing and revelling in joy. Then the liberated Old Ones would teach them new ways to shout and kill and revel and enjoy themselves, and all the earth would flame with a holocaust of ecstasy and freedom.”

      • tucsonspur June 8, 2020 at 7:44 pm #

We’re heading towards a time of tyrants and rebels, a world made by both handgun and fist, all ‘Red in tooth and claw.’

That was a time of transition in Hartford, when whites who tried to stick it out in the city were routinely robbed, beaten up, burglarized, had their cars stolen and so on. Now the only whites left in the city are homosexual staffers who work for various state Senators, assemblymen, the Governors office and other departments. All others who could get out, have gotten out.

No plea arose from leaders in black communities across the land to stop the disgraceful behavior. It was not even recognized as disgraceful, rather regarded as a necessary ceremony for purging the bad feelings over George Floyd’s gruesome death at the knee of officer Derek Chauvin. JHK

Well said, Jim. A point necessary to be made, as Floyd and this ‘ceremony’ become casus belli.

A cell phone puts Chauvin in a cell. A knee kicks the nation in the nuts and for two weeks it suffers the pain and tries to recover. No, it’s not the bees’ knees here, but rather the knees of Brees. And Goodell. These guys and the others are bending over, not just kneeling.

Trump called out Goodell, who is now enslaved by the blacks, in large part responsible for his $30-40 million annual salary. A parasitic example of ‘white privilege’, as much of his comes from the blacks. But Trump is in dangerous territory, taking on the big business of sports as his poll numbers decline.

Thanks for mentioning Heather MacDonald, author of ‘The Diversity Delusion’. Here’s more:

Great stuff but too few people listened in time. It’s all going to go and we’ll have to rebuild from the literal ashes.

Something is deeply wrong with White people to have accepted all this. Part of it is the atomized individualism encouraged by American Capitalism, but it also might be a basic genetic flaw. Liberals have a different brain that can be picked up by a brain scan. They need to be kept out of any future Republic.

I’m looking for a Soviet style show trial in a kangaroo court, with a stacked jury and a predisposed outcome.

Fentanyl OD is a wildcard and in a fair trial Chauvin will be acquitted.

I would have to think about jury selection…I have been summoned to serve twice and they ask you every time if you know anything about the case and have formed an opinion about the defendant’s guilt. Who would have NOT seen the video OR the snapshots from the video? How many people have already disqualified themselves from serving by stating it was murder on their facebook pages? The jury would probably have to be made up of a bunch of 50 – 65 yr old ludite men and women…Amish? How many will be black or half black? How many will be secret members of the KKK? How many will be paid off? Is there real justice anymore? What kind of life will Chauvin have after being acquitted? Will someone try to kill him? Will he suffer a mental breakdown?

In my opinion blacks in america truly don’t know what they want specifically, and because of this their dialogue regarding their wishes is often confused… dishonest.

But I believe the ignored, possibly biggest factor contributing to this confusion is an intuition (if not evidence based conclusion) that the promises from big whitey of opportunity, success and good fortune for joining into the system are truly in bad faith….in any way except a tenuous short term these promises are absolutely in bad faith, even if big whitey can’t admit that even to himself.

Of course black america offers no conscious counter argument or vision either…they seem content with an intuitive dislike and distrust while being partially swayed by some success at making the suspect system work for them… They become a willing, established part of the clusterfuck.

    • JohnAZ June 8, 2020 at 10:37 pm #

The real issue to your statement is that Whites and Blacks have a very different outlook on what life is all about. Everyone might agree or disagree what the differences are, but it is present.

So the real question is, can completely different groups co-exist?

I, for one, do not think so. Even the very successful Blacks are held in contempt by their fellows as Uncle Toms and Oreos.

When the demands of the two groups of the common government are different, politics decides who gets priority. When these demands are so spread apart, coexistence through compromise is impossible.

Blacks today are demanding equality of everything although they are only 13% of the population. Not going to happen. The really dumb bunnies are the White “children” who are willing to give their share of the pie over to the Blacks. Once they have done so, do the really believe the Blacks are benevolent creatures who will share?

      That IS dumb!

The social controls on distancing, masking etc. have reduced the number of cases of Covid19, but also the flu, and even the common cold.

Today’s daily 19 cases check shows that Arizona and Arkansas are spiking and Florida is rising slightly faster too. Why? How many Feds are looking into the causes of the spikes? Especially because none of the protesting states are showing surges. There is something else going on here.

    Have yourself a dandy day
That cost you under a fin.
Hair was short and skirts were long.
Kate Smith really sold a song.

That’s amazing that you amassed a large audience of blue-eyed devils of Turkmenistan to address! But isn’t every political state a carved thievedom? It seems like history is a never ending war. So probably everyone is on that list at some point.

Up here, in Webster, Mass., the police chief prostrated himself, nose on the pavement, for 9 minutes, in full uniform, his way of showing ‘solidarity’ with local protestors, really an embarrassing and disgusting display of weakness and ignorance … these are the people we count on to protect life and property. Displays like that reinforces the idea we are on our own and need to act accordingly.

I don’t believe S&W has made that Model 28 for at least 25 years and the ones that I’ve seen sell for at least $1000. No, I’m still looking for a new wheel gun. Meanwhile, and you’ll probably laugh at me about this, I’m using my Charter Arms target Bulldog. It was made right down the road a way, and I bought it at a fundraiser to raise money to keep a shooting range open. Doesn’t have the fit or finish of a Smith but it shoots ok but I’m careful not to put too many .357 thru it but stick with .38 Special.

Add to the multiple stabbings and shootings in ‘The Community’ yesterday add a triple shooting in Hartford last night, which completes 24 hours of mayhem in the Constitution State. A 275 lb community member — the suspect — is on the lam. Ironically the Guv appears to have jumped aboard the ‘defund the police’ movement and announced yesterday — in the spirit of the moment — he is looking for ways to cut the public safety budget.

And there is this: In Chi, May 30-31 marked as the deadliest day in the city’s history, 18 shot to death, all black, including a 16 yo girl. Does anybody care? Majella do you know any of their names? Anybody looting and rioting over it?

  69. Jo-G June 9, 2020 at 2:56 am #

Just created an account to reply to this. I worked at an inner city school system for a decade, so I can amplify JHK’s remarks about English. They tested every incoming student for academic English- If the student didn’t speak English at home or was born in a foreign country. If the student didn’t pass the test the student was eligible for ESL classes at taxpayer expense. All the teachers thought that most of the native born students would fail the test. But, they weren’t allowed to test or give remedial help to the native born students. I always wondered why this wasn’t an issue for the african american activists. Or all Americans, why shouldn’t we help all students who have a deficiency? I’ve never seen this as an argument in the illegal immigration debates either. Students brought here illegally get taxpayer funded help with English while the children of legal citizens can’t. Then people point to the immigrant children doing so well in school compared to native born, but native born students with English deficiencies aren’t even evaluated.

We need fast and accurate testing of everyone in the USA. The hospitals were supposed to be getting 15 minutes or less testing machines from Abbott. This was supposed to be done a month ago. Everyone should have been tested by now.

“Testing is a critical part of addressing this threat. It’s a battle that is fought on multiple fronts, from physicians’ offices and urgent care clinics to hospitals and molecular labs, from emergency departments to those hotspots where help is needed most.

?Under FDA emergency use authorization (EUA), we are distributing five?COVID-19 tests. For molecular testing, our rapid, point-of-care COVID-19 tests for our?ID NOW?system, our?m2000?RealTime molecular laboratory test as well as our Alinity m?platform. For antibody testing, our blood test that runs on the ARCHITECT i1000SR and i2000SR laboratory instruments?as well as the?Alinity i.

Diagnostic testing is key to solving the complex puzzle of an infectious disease outbreak, by helping slow the spread of the virus. The Abbott RealTime SARS-CoV-2 test runs on our?m2000 RealTime systems, which are already located in hospital and academic medical center labs and reference laboratories in the U.S.?The FDA also granted an EUA to?Alinity m molecular testing?for COVID-19, expanding speed and efficiency on a machine that can run up to 1,080 tests in 24 hours. These high-volume platforms help?healthcare providers meet the unprecedented demand for testing.”

There are 30 million people in the USA (2020) with the densest county being New York County with 69,468 people per square mile.
One Abbott testing machine could be dispersed every mile and finish testing everyone in 2.5 months.

One Abbott test machine could process all the people at a border crossing and at an airport.

Scientists have been saying since the beginning of the pandemic that we need accurate testing to get accurate statistics.

Will martial law have to be enforced in order to make everyone get tested for sars-cov-2. It sure is looking that way.

Speaking of comforts and conveniences, yesterday my husband and I were driving through unknown territory and he needed the bathroom and we saw a country store (very rural here). They were open, had indeed never closed, but were not allowing bathroom use because covid. So we drove nearly a half hour till we got to the town where we were headed for me to go into the small hospital and get my blood drawn. But family members have to sit outside in their cars. Not allowed in. I asked if he could please use the bathroom. They said no. I said we were leaving. Husband said he could wait. I said no. As we were discussing, they relented. Life in the new America. I fought, most people won’t.

“Karen is a term for a person perceived to be entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is considered appropriate or necessary.”

He is a man and can urinate in a bottle besides having a car and can go to any “facility”…so, I do not think it was appropriate or necessary to demand use of their restrooms because you felt he was entitled to use it for being your husband and personal chauffeur.

Clear anti-Male animus here. This preceded the Terror attack, the result of earlier psychological Pogroms against the White female psyche. There has been an ongoing campaign to make White American women hate White American men. This campaign has been an overwhelming success.

          • sophia June 9, 2020 at 4:08 pm #

Actually, it was not because he is my husband, but because he is a human being. And yes, I believe there is a bit of a deal in this so-called civilized world, that if we are not to pee in public, there have to be facilities. Now, out there at the country store, he could perhaps have walked out back and found a private place but not at the hospital.

Who woulda thought that I would be considered to have a sense of entitlement because I think bathrooms should be open, or that a hospital should allow a cancer patient’s spouse to go to the bathroom. He does tend to take me to my appointments. I can drive now, but for a while I couldn’t.

And aren’t you a nasty piece of work?

          • Karah June 11, 2020 at 12:46 pm #

Sophia, I did not call you Karen. I do not know you and I did not know why you needed blood drawn. That doesn’t change the point I was making for the sake of conversation.

You do not know me. I have invited people to get to know me by joining a zoom meeting. But if you just want to use the platform to denigrate me…you are not welcome.

Kunstler brought up the point about CONVENIENCE. The hospital has lots of people coming in for services and they have to sanitize the public restroom AFTER EVERY USE. They do not have the staff nor the time for that.

Cancer treatment is brutal. I hope the best for you.

The main effects on automobile travel that I have noticed during lockdown:

1). Restrooms few and far between. I think in terns of “where is the nearest supermarket”, since they seem to me the only institution that one can still reliably find an open restroom at.

2). The obvious one: Lots of places you might normally go to are shut down.

3). Traffic is a lot lighter.

      • Karah June 9, 2020 at 10:06 am #

Yes, people really are taking our “usual conveniences” for granted.
At a fast food restaurant on the side of an interstate, a couple of men parked in order to use the restroom facilities. Of course the dining rooms are closed and thus, the public restrooms. I do not think I need to explain why this was implemented by the CDC.

So, the guys found a place in the bushes behind a dumpster so they would not get arrested for indecent exposure. They do not carry any disinfectant wipes or hand sanitizer…they just shake it, zip it and go on.

Even before this pandemic, i carry an emergency kit in my trunk that is a gallon of water, bucket, wet wipes, toilet paper, plastic bags and a shower curtain. Use your imagination.

With so many health care workers and nurses and such getting furloughed I really do wonder what is going on in the hospitals. None of them have a surge of covid patients and routine exams and screenings, and elective and non-emergency procedures have been delayed for millions of people. So why still are they not allowing family members and visitors into the hospitals today? Are they psychologically preparing the public for a coming time where healthcare as we know it now will basically not be available for most?

      • JohnAZ June 9, 2020 at 10:19 am #

I think you may have mentioned it the other day or someone did I think and I also saw some articles about how the lockdown is basically a mass casualty event that hasn’t been realized. I know at least one of the doctors was saying that millions of people probably missed the opportunity to have the beginnings of chronic diseases like cancer, heart problems and hypertension detected early. So there will be a cascade of missed catches, missed treatments and ultimate unnecessary deaths. At first I thought Dr. Fauci was an authority and now I think he needs to get into a lot of trouble.

And while we are reeling from that all these types of things here are like additional and cruel taunts from the mob of the mind surrounding us and hoping we fall to the ground.

          • Janos Skorenzy June 9, 2020 at 2:45 pm #

Read my long post below. Anglin talks about the cynicism of the Slavic mind. We desperately need that now. All our starry eyed idealism has been ruthlessly used against us. I’m infuriated and sickened as you can probably tell. What is happening is simply unbearable for me.

I don’t know if this cynicism is innate or of long standing duration, or just something that arouse from having to endure the garbage of Communist rule. In any case, there is nothing else for us now.

And yes, most street fights are won by a sucker punch and then a flurry of punches. The person never had a chance if the first one connected. They are using this to the max, and coming at us from all angles.

          • SoftStarLight June 10, 2020 at 2:43 am #

I can tell you have been upset and I do understand. You have a right to be angry. Michelle Obama told her people that they should never let someone tell them they are too angry. So if they can then you must for the more noble cause. I didn’t realize you had lived under communist rule. That must make it even that much worse seeing what is happening now then. I’m still hopeful a counter current and backlash will stop the takeover.

I have been wondering the same thing. And so if you bring anyone with you, they have to sit outside in the open parking lot. It is 93 degrees today.

“what exactly does black America seek in its cry for an end to systemic racism”

It’s presumptuous to say that’s what black America is seeking. It’s predominately white yuppies perceiving themselves fighting Satan to bolster their sense to serve their own psychological needs.

  79. lbs June 9, 2020 at 9:59 am #

One problem in the educational system for black people:

A culture that it is not cool to learn.

Bret Weinstein described an example of a student of his at Evergreen State College. She was a mixed race (one black and one white parent) person who loved science. She got accosted by some intersectional leftist goombah and was angrily criticized for studying science, a white man’s culture.

When the far left is promoting idiocracy, and has a stranglehold on popular culture and the media, it doesn’t bode well.

Apologies – The education question was dealt with in Season 4, not 3.

“Does black America really want to fully participate in our national life, or do they want to remain an oppositional faction within it, dependent, resentful, and violent?”

Once again, it’s not black America, it’s the radical left, who are mostly white yuppies.

While I haven’t talked politics with black people I interact with in my suburban city, it seems pretty clear from their outlook on life that they would consider the obsession with race on the part of the left to be bullshit.

A lot of black people I have come across and spoken with about politics, religion, and race are actually very conservative and spiritual in their viewpoints, even if they don’t appear to live that way.

    • Karah June 9, 2020 at 10:22 am #

Part of the new world order that the western world promotes is the fact many races can sit in the same classroom and look at historical pictures depicting all their ancestors involved in some form of UNJUST treatment. How did we process this information? Oh, that was the past, this is now, things are different.

      Are they?

Four hours in a plane or 40 days in a boat in the same six square feet of space. In one you are buckled in for takeoff and landing. In the other you are buckled in all the time even if the boat sinks. There was no African slave first class berth but being chained down in some places had to be better than being chained down in others. I don’t think there were flight attendants or snacks. That said, would not the seating diagram of an Airbus be more slavelike?

Another comparison. Both are ancient history now. But slavery will be making a comeback.

Boats pulled along canals won’t use mules. We don’t have any. We have to use people instead.

          “…the beast”?

No doubt this is a really deep post and I’m just too stupid to possibly understand it.

    messianicdruid “
I’m okay with reparations, if it includes a plane ticket.”
    * Janos “You’re growing, bro. That’s not in the Bible.”
Are you referring to reparations or a plane ticket ?

Seriously, “the sins of the father shall be visited upon the children unto the third and fourth generation”. Is there any doubt that this is happening?

I don’t think “growing” beyond “the Bible” is the answer. Following the Bible in the first place would be nice.

The other reasons I’m okay with reparations, I want a line in the sand. This needs to end. The other – if we can pay off banksters for 100 plus years of raping the world economy, we can afford a ransom of fiat currency that will turn to dung in a matter of months.

    • SoftStarLight June 9, 2020 at 10:24 am #

Hmmmm, you may wanna be careful what you wish for. Do you really think reparations represents a line in the sand? Those who want that sort of thing will never be satisfied you know. Some people need an axe to grind. And that is their power when everyone around cowers.

      • K-Dog June 9, 2020 at 12:53 pm #

        Reparations are racist.

        • K-Dog June 9, 2020 at 1:12 pm #

Reparations can’t possibly be taken seriously. You would have to whip Americans to make them go along with paying them. The briefest of thought experiments reveals it to be total folly.

Personal connections with Antebellum slavery long ago died. Nobody is going to be OK with taking on the sins of people long dead who we have only historical connection to.

People don’t even want to pay a fair share of taxes now. People would not be OK with paying even more in an economy which turned from a thick juicy steak to a dried out chunk of bad beef jerky over spring. We will have from this a summer of discontent. Kumbaya will not be sung this year.

Seriously reparations are litmus paper. The blue kind. If you think reparations are some kind of justice you turn your test pink and you fail. It shows you are emotionally controlled and don’t have a clue about what is just and fair, and what equity means. If you support reparations you can’t understand these principles.

That should piss a few people off. The truth always does.

          • SoftStarLight June 9, 2020 at 2:05 pm #

I agree. Maybe that is why they have encouraged politics by emotion rather than politics by principles for so long? People will then go along with anything they can be whipped into a frenzy for.

Blacks don’t get that or care to. You White and you owe is all they understand.

Proof? Consider the OJ case. Whites were amazed that the Black jury thought him innocent. But Black interviews after the fact explained it all: Of course he did it, so what? Those Whites had it coming. They White.

Many years ago, when I lived Washington DC, I had a good friend of mine join a punk band I was in. He was black and we used to shoot the shit for hours after band practice. He used to laugh long and hard about affirmative action.

He got a full ride to George Washington Uni. (which is a very expensive and highly selective private college in DC) and was basically a C student throughout high school. He knew full well it was absurd, but it was what it was.

That’s not how it works, Druid. An eye for eye, a tooth for tooth, a lampshade and soap for a lampshade and soap, etcetera etcetera.

You remember the ancient Egyptians, right? Them are the Cops of today. Guess what their fate is? They live, if you want to call it that, in cities of garbage, swimming in the refuse of their Jihadi overloads in the stench of the desert heat. They’ve been doing that for a millennia and a half. They still don’t understand why and how this happened, thinking that their faith in a false Roman deity absolves them of their crimes. It doesn’t, and he wont. You do the crime, you do the time. That’s how it works.

It is in the upside down Bible. That was no ordinary Bible. That Bible had the book of Trump at the end. Which begins with:

The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God hovered over the surface of the waters. And god said: My own shit! How did this happen. And then god saw the tweets and knew this was not good…

It could have been held right side up. There were only two possibilities. As ‘signs’ go this one is biblical. A lamb of god could not have held it upside down. Only a spawn of Satan would do that.

      Isn’t that special.

    A really good question.

If you got a group of people together in a room of all three of the main ethnic groups with the charter to give a statement of what America should look like to satisfy all three, what would it be?

I do not know if it is possible, JHK calls out for common culture often, is it possible?

Oh, wait. We have an organization who has that function, the House of Representatives. There is a good representation of all three groups in the House.

Yikes, what a perfect example for the conservatives to shame the government.

I hope the Democratic kneeling debacle yesterday pisses off enough Blacks to make a difference. What a patronizing exhibition! If a language or body language expert could analyze Pelosi, maybe her hypocrisy would be exposed.

Our tax dollars paid for our own overthrow.

White explorers were amazed at the self esteem and confidence of native Blacks in Africa. They are naturally like this. The program comes with the hardware. Here are some things that I think are nice to continue post lock-down:

    1. Consume much less
    2. Eat out much less
    3. Spend much less on mass tourism
    4. Slow down and de-stress
    5. Prioritise family and friends
    6. Ethical activism (concern for others, and the planet)
    7. Lots of regular daily exercise (less driving)
    8. Growing food, cooking more
    9. Spending more time in nature
10.Working more from home if possible
    11. Taking on more DIY projects around the house
    12. Playing board games and cards
    13. Being more actively engaged in children’s education

I appreciate some of these have a strong bias towards the well-off, employed, and generally comfortable. But still – doesn’t make them bad aspirations in a new world.

yes of course – people of a given nation should have the “ability” to speak the same language. However, somehow the culture of this nation has never developed a code of responsibility: to nation or government or anything – — at the least this is where we have ended up as society.

I would suggest that the last mention of social responsibility ended with Kennedy’s “ask not what your country can do for you” speech.

I don’t recall any Obama PSAs on “learn to talk white.”

In any case the purpose of my post was to point out that teaching black women how to use birth control – even paying them to use it — would far greater benefit than teaching white English.

A dog and pony show you have been had.

several white Mercedes vans were seen with dozens of people that didn’t belong in our community.

The white Mercedes vans were out of state. I took my 350 E to Idaho to see the eclipse. I had to leave it in Montana when it came down with a case of transmission covid and I was stuck in low. Not good when 18 wheelers are riding your ass on Montana freeways. I saw the eclipse in Idaho as planned but to make a long story short I had to have the car shipped back to Seattle to get it fixed. I know of another 350 owner who had a similar tale of woe in Oregon.

Mercedes don’t do flyover country. There are no dealers except in the biggest of American cities. None that can do service. There is one in Spokane but the tea leaves are telling me these vans drove a long way. That is what is likely.

So why. Who funds this. The photos of the armed citizens are highly suspect. Coeur d’Alene people are friendly and laid back. You won’t find as many haters as are shown in these photos unless the whole thing is staged.

For more than two decades, the Coeur d’Alene community came together, rejecting the vision of white supremacist Richard Butler’s small band and organizing a tenacious effort to drive them out without the dangerous confrontation seen recently in Virginia.

Fake news is always flawed and when you find one flaw you usually will see others. White Mercedes vans in a city that went out of its way to fight racist hate and which remains vigilant in doing so. An obvious setup which does show the deep state does support Trump after all.

Photo courtesy of Mark Addy is listed 10 times and no other source. A quote from a resident with another name. This stinks of a setup and all photos are posed. Tax dollars at work.

The quoted ‘resident’ described at least 1000 people. Coeur d’Alene is not big enough for that to be credible. You could not get that many pick up trucks downtown.

Just helping you not to be a tool of the man sophia. So maybe you won’t get fooled again. 🙂

I was up there and can mediate here. The Gun Culture is real and these nice guys came out cuz there were a few threats made and some windows got broken. It was like a rally or a party on the streets. And yes, they will fight and they can use them, but obviously they are very soft. You can see that in the photos.

They reject racism as Kdog said. On one threat I told them that the Elite didn’t like their Race, politics, and religion and were going to change their demographics. The softies were outraged. We have all kinds up here! Like .05% or something. Jus wait!

One Black posted his admiration for them and they were like dogs wagging their tails. They’ve obviously accepted Blacks as their moral superiors a la the media. Thus they are ripe for the plucking. MASSIVE and I mean MASSIVE importation of Black African is already underway in Spokane – a mere 25 miles away.

Freedom begins between the ears and they’re doomed. I asked them, How do you think the rest of White America fell? Or do you think that you are just naturally superior? Nuthin. They have no idea. They are only still White because they haven’t been gotten to yet. Simple as that.

akmofo said, “You do the crime, you do the time. That’s how it works.”

The 90% of white people [ pre-civil-war ] who did not own slaves should not be incriminated with the aristocrats or their policy-enforcers. Reparations should come from the oppressors, not from fellow victims.

Even the black slaves realized they were better off than the poor white trash sharecroppers and indentured servants who were responsible for their own welfare. Angry white males are more furious with their Nicolaitan white bosses than with their black fellow employees [ wage slaves ].

Poor whites are deplored constantly by the ruling class and it obviously cannot be attributed to skin color. If racism is systemic oppression – the wielding of power, then the poor white trash redneck hillbillies must be a different race from the white liberal mucky-mucks who are running things.

Poor working whites are living hand to mouth, paycheck to inadequate paycheck. Their jobs have gone overseas where the living corporations pay foreign wage slaves even less to bring it back here to sell to people with credit instead of money.

What amount of redneck hatred comes from generations of being annihilated on the front lines of bankster wars, shot down by Pinkertons, chewed up like sausage in industrial accidents and poisoned with industrial waste ? Instead of bigotry, intolerance, bias or prejudice could it be overwork, debt, broken promises and having to live in a trailer while watching your teeth fall out and your friends die because you and they cannot afford the doctor and hospital bills, and decent nutrition.

The oppressors are not “whites”, they are “the rich men of the earth” – wealthy people of all races, not the poor smuck that works his arse off to rent a run-down shack and feed his rug-rats macaroni and cheese.

I’m not denying oppression of former slaves. I am rejecting false guilt for actions of others. Most of the white people here now did not even have any ancestors in country before the civil war. And after 3 or 4 generations of being taxed to make amends for the sins of others, I’m done.

We didn’t do the crime, but we HAVE done the time. It is over.

    • Janos Skorenzy June 9, 2020 at 2:11 pm #

You just said you wanted reparations above. You are one very confused man, vacillating with every breeze.

Actually they did. Once Jericho which deliberately blocked the passage of Israel to C’na’an in a war like fashion was destroyed by the trumpets of Israel, Israel received the ambassadors of the other city states and made a pact of peace with their kings. There were 5 kings in C’na’an that refused to make peace with Israel, the main one being Hebron which Abraham bought for himself and where he and Sarah were buried. The 5 cities combined their mighty armies of giants but were obliterated by a storm of falling rocks from the sky as the sun stood still in the sky and evening did not come to pass until that army was destroyed.

I believe every word that was written, and so should you if you know what’s good for you.

You are stupid and blind and ignorant in not understanding that and what they do to you. They cut you down in wars, they cut you down economically, and they cut you down demographically and culturally by bringing in Catholic Mexicans and Latin Americans to flood your lands with pliant Catholics who will obey and worship the Pope as God. And when they’re done, there will be nothing of you and your freedoms, nothing of your heritage, and nothing left of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. You will revert back to being the Vatican slave that you were in Europe and against whom you rebelled when you discovered the Hebrew Bible which you were not allowed to read before. Vatican slavery is the whole purpose of Communism/Satanism and whole purpose of your Roman scriptures and deity.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has taken a shot at the world’s elites, accusing them of taking advantage of the coronavirus pandemic to put “trillions of dollars in their pockets” while the global economy burns.

“The coronavirus has put the whole planet into a state of psychosis…I call it a psychosis because someone clearly needs this. And you’ve probably noticed yourself who. It’s the same as always: after the swine flu, the bird flu, SARS…today we’re facing another pandemic, another pneumonia, only in a new form. And you remember who took advantage of these situations in the past, who put billions in their pockets,” Lukashenko said, speaking to officials in Mogilev region on Saturday.

“The whole world today has stopped; the global economy has not just stalled, but been demolished. But leading companies, leading billionaires and states have put trillions of dollars in their pockets,” the president added, referring to the current crisis.

“That’s why I have always asked the question, going back three months ago, as you may remember: Who needs this? Is this a man-made event – this health pandemic? So far I do not have an answer to this question, and hope that you don’t either,” Lukashenko noted.

Belarus faced the wrath of media and medical experts around the world after refusing to institute mandatory lockdown measures, with the country’s factories, farms, schools, shops, restaurants and other amenities remaining open throughout the past several months even as its neighbours closed down. However, recently published data have shown that while the country’s per capita infection rates are comparable to other European nations and the US, its mortality rates have been among the lowest in the world, ranking 45th among 49 countries with 10,000 or more cases where sufficient data is available.

This week, the Institute for Policy Studies, a Washington-based think tank, concluded that in the US alone, billionaires have added $565 billion to their fortunes since mid-March, with their total wealth up by 19 percent since the pandemic began. The figures were published amid reports that close to 39 million Americans filed for unemployment benefits amid the crisis. Similar trends have been observed in countries across the world, from Europe to Asia.

Anglin: You tell me if I’m reading too much into this – but I can’t help but wonder if the notoriously cynical Slavic worldview is not, in fact, better suited to the modern world than the remaining vestiges of Western idealism.

Idealism worked fine when it was bound up in traditional Christianity – but it seems like it has moved on to consumer morality cults, election worship and praying to the blacks and so on, without skipping a beat.

Lukashenko got the same information about this flu hoax that everyone else did. He just assumed, naturally, that the best way to understand any new information is to first assume that everyone and their mother wants to screw you over for money, and to try to fit it into that model.

Seems like a safe bet, these days.

JS: Nothing to add. Two great men who see thru the entire dog and pony show for the scam it is. I stand on the shoulders of such giants and thus I see better than you. That is all. You stand on the shoulder of Pygmies in trenches and think they are Giants because you are lower still.

I finally got a chance to drive to the coast, about 40 miles … last I’d been was in Sept, wanted to see how the towns faired after the long winter and the Covid shutdown. The first thing I noticed was traffic is back it was pretty heavy, and gas is up near $2 per gallon. Along US1 about 1/3 of the restaurants and all the antique shops have not reopened, they are abandoned, as are many other businesses. The State Parks were filled up by noon, after that nobody else was let in. And I’d like to say to Green Alba, Capt Spaulding and every CFNer who is worried about sea level rise, rest easy. I walked underneath the 120 yo Niantic River RR bridge on LI Sound, solid granite, with a giant guage painted on the granite pillar to measure tides for the fishing boats to come and go. The watermarks for low and high tide have not changed since last Sept, in fact it doesn’t look as tho they’ve changed since the bridge was built in 1898. Sea level is not rising, it is pretty steady. I hope you are reassured.

The ocean is exactly where it was when I started surfing in 1975.

From Rincon Santa Barbara to Imperial beach and as far north as Ocean Beach San Francisco.
Surfed in Vancouver and as far south as renaca chile.

      • BackRowHeckler June 9, 2020 at 6:41 pm #

Yeah Ben, my theory is that the Sea Level Rise theory is a grift promulgated by top Dems like Kerry, Obama, Biden and Gore which allows them to scoop up oceanfront property on the cheap. You’ll notice the top global warming honchos have beachfront mansions, every one of them. And I’ll bet if you look at other luminaries flogging global warming — DiCapprio, Mckibben, Matt Damon and so on — they own nice digs on the beach, too.

It’s a bigger scam than even this Black lives matter nonsense, and were expected to swallow it.

You do realise that a surf board floats on top of a raised sea level, not below at the level you posit for when you began? (If ever.)

I read an article about Ron Jeremy recently in the Daily News. In the first place I was surprised he’s still alive, but he is, age 67. He was trying to save a tree in his boyhood home where he still lives in Queens. Also apparently the #metoo movement has caught up to him and he’s being investigated by the DA for some sexual matter. He denies any wrongdoing, claiming he’s too old to do anything.

          Depends on the board.
Shortboards tend to sink below the level of the ocean until brought up to planning speed.

Longboards do indeed float above and plane faster due to expanded surface area and volume.
I find it odd someone who has probably never surfed nor indeed looked at a surfboard is trying to explain them to someone who has surfed nearly his entire life.
Hell I have even shaped a dozen of them!
At one point I thought of doing it for a living until I realised just how little money people made doing it.
Now we have guys like Skip Frye charging $2000 for a board and making a decent living at it.

Miami and Ft. Lauderdale along with Key West are both with us too.

Half of the Arctic Ocean has de iced, Greenland is melting quickly and the Antarctic is thawing at the edges. Not much sea level rise. Only the ice on land will contribute, floating ice actually adds no sea level rise. I wonder if anyone on the AGW side actually did the math to figure out what volume of water will enter the oceans from Greenland and the landmass of Antarctica to figure out how high it will rise.

      • JohnAZ June 9, 2020 at 8:41 pm #

Also, when ice melts, it’s volume decreases.

      • Kakadu Man June 9, 2020 at 9:51 pm #

I wonder if anyone on the AGW side actually did the math to figure out what volume of water will enter the oceans from Greenland and the landmass of Antarctica to figure out how high it will rise.

Very smart scientists have done those calculations … and the sea level is rising, and at current rates of AGW, the sea will rise quite a bit over the next half century. Not centimetres, but many metres.

Have you been to Miami Beach – the streets slosh with salt water on a big high tide or even a modest storm, and a range of mitigation strategies are being seriously discussed and designed. Sea level rise is real – it’s not a commie plot.

Put aside the racial aspect for a moment and consider the prime tenet of “multiculturalism” – that all cultures are equal and worthy of respect.
This is demonstrably untrue yet billions are still wasted on this fallacy, but only in the West. Odd that.
If race is then to be considered, which would e the most racist kultur? It’s a toss up between Han & Hindu, with Bantu, Arab & Ashanti contending for placings.
BTW, for the trogs. & knuckle draggers here, please define ‘white’ apart from a deficiency of melanin.
Sometimes the postings here seem to be from people disappointed that Vdare doesn’t dare allow commentary.

    • Kakadu Man June 9, 2020 at 10:36 pm #

Multiculturalism can be successful … Australian society has become a very interesting and mostly harmonious society over my lifetime … my partner teaches in a school with kids from almost a hundred different countries and cultures – they have great “international days” all the time.

All these different cultures are treated with respect and whatever equality we can muster. Of course the Anglo-Celtic majority (plus other European groups of longstanding – Italian, Greek, former Yugoslavian – plus Turkish and Lebanese) still have the whip-hand, and control most of the wealth and the political arena, but it’s changing steadily.

We have two female state premiers (governors) with the names Berejiklian and Palaszczuk – such opportunities exist for a lot of “New Australians”.

But for max effect, start with Portland, Oregon.

    • Kakadu Man June 9, 2020 at 11:14 pm #

I don’t think many cities are talking about abolishing police forces, but changing them, and their culture. I agree you have to take on the unions – presumably through the ballot box, and change the culture.

But having more “community policing” rather than ever more heavily armed hard-core para-military squads, sounds like a pretty good strategy to me.

      • JohnAZ June 10, 2020 at 10:34 am #

Agreed 100%. Remember though that the same idiots that armed the SWAT teams with all the military surplus are the ones trying to defund the police now.

The Blacks are not going to take over the base culture of the US. They can celebrate all their own culture they want, but they will never be mainstream. They have contributed so much to the collective culture now. But they will never be the mainstream power in the US. They are 13% of the population, period. If their desire to separate themselves from the mainstream continues, all it will do is alienate what empathy they are receiving right now.

The mainstream power is all the folks, Whites, Blacks, Browns, Yellows, Reds influencing the politics at the lower levels.

Also, remember always that the Blacks and other minorities are pawns in the hands of the White Left elite. The Blacks are getting this, hence the fear by the Left to try to look like they really give a damn. We will see in November if it worked.

Now, seven years after the old department was booted (though around 100 officers were rehired), the city’s crime has dropped by close to half. Officers host outdoor parties for residents and knock on doors to introduce themselves. It’s a radically different Camden than it was even a decade ago.’

Here, Jim, is something for your cynicism file.

You know that older gentleman protester – Martin Gugino – who was ostensibly pushed to the ground by the police in Buffalo? Do we wonder what was he doing getting up so close to the police anyway?

Well, apparently he was attempting what is call an NFC hack, i.e., an attempt to use his own phone to capture the smartphone data of police in his immediate vicinity. That comes under the heading of “identity theft”and can get you 15 or even 30 years.

The following brief (2:20) video shows how it works and clearly shows that that is in fact what he was doing.

What a world we live in.

He was trying to give the police a riot helmet that had been discarded at earlier festivities. You can clearly here him say something like ‘I want to give you this‘ before he became one with the pavement and decided to do fake bleeding.

You know for this one I have to just go with fuck off tucsonspur.

The first time I saw the video I saw the helmet on the ground and asked myself what is that doing there? It does not match the helmets of the advancing line.

I have had plenty of involuntary viewings of the incident to know all about the damn helmet by now. We all have. The next time you see the video tucson; WATCH IT.

And if you are kidding then I’m kidding about the fuck off.

          • K-Dog June 10, 2020 at 5:15 am #

By the way – the helmet does mitigate the guilt of the officers who pushed him down.

There could have been a bomb in that helmet. Only one chance in hell of that, but it was still possible.

Beware of Greeks bearing gifts. I’d have pushed Gugino away if he tried to give me that helmet. That he fell is tragic and yes the force was excessive but also a bit accidental as two officers wound up pushing him together but both acted like they were the only ones doing the pushing. Their actions were simultaneous and independent.

Sort of like when Romeo pushed himself between Mercutio and Tybalt allowing Tybalt to commit murder most foul. Banging head against pavement was not intended.

I think the officers being fired is sufficient. There should not be criminal charges but the hospital bills of Gugino can be picked up by the city and he does need to be compensated.

            It was a clusterfuck.

Oh and btw Kdog, you dismissal of the shooting yesterday by saying, Don’t fuck with a man’s ride” (as if that’s what happened) doesn’t make it. Imagine if that has been a White guy. Chicago of Sandburg:

“Come and show me another city with lifted head singing so proud to be alive and coarse and strong and cunning.”

    Hog Butcher for the World,
    Tool maker, Stacker of Wheat,
Player with Railroads and the Nation’s
    Freight Handler;
    Stormy, husky, brawling,
    City of the Big Shoulders:

They tell me you are wicked and I believe them, for I have seen your painted women under the gas lamps luring the farm boys.
And they tell me you are crooked and I answer: yes, it is true I have seen the gunman kill and go free to kill again.
And they tell me you are brutal and my reply is: On the faces of women and children I have seen the marks of wanton hunger.
And having answered so I turn once more to those who sneer at this my city, and I give them back the sneer and say to them:
Come and show me another city with lifted head singing so proud to be alive and coarse and strong and cunning.

    Flinging magnetic curses amid the toil of piling job on job, here is a tall bold slugger set vivid against the little soft cities;
Fierce as a dog with tongue lapping for action, cunning as a savage pitted against the wilderness,
    Building, breaking, rebuilding,
Under the smoke, dust all over his mouth, laughing with white teeth,
Under the terrible burden of destiny laughing as a young man laughs,
Laughing even as an ignorant fighter laughs who has never lost a battle,
Bragging and laughing that under his wrist is the pulse, and under his ribs the heart of the people,
Laughing the stormy, husky, brawling laughter of Youth, half-naked, sweating, proud to be Hog Butcher, Tool Maker, Stacker of Wheat, Player with Railroads and Freight Handler to the Nation.

I know I’m a good old-fashioned lefty, and a strong supporter of BLM (although I share a lot of the politically incorrect caveats that JHK has articulated in the essay) – but I have to say the horse-drawn hearse for George Floyd was a bit fucking much.

The incident was tragic enough – but you don’t have to yank everyone’s chain over it, FFS.

Not enough plumage on the work horses. Good white color though.

Floyd (the ‘runner’) Mayweather picks up the tab.

      I know I’m a good old-fashioned lefty — >

When things start out that way things are going to get sticky or someone is telling the truth. Usually it means maple syrup is being dripped on the table.

      Three weeks ago:

Hey George. would you like to go to your grave in a white horse drawn hearse or would you prefer sleeping in on the day you are scheduled to be killed instead of being choked in the street?

I’d be mockingly sorry if your sense of cosmic order was truly offended at having a pauper buried as a prince. But that is not what is really going on. I will agree. There could have been more plumage. But the service was donated and we are in a recession now. Just in time plumage delivery is off.

No maple syrup from me ever – I hate it … always the vinegar of the truth comrade And yes – having a commoner buried as a prince for faux political reasons that are BS … offends me to the max indeed. It is absolutely not necessary … simplicity is purity.

BTW … is there anyone on network TV who is anywhere near as frothing bonkers stupid at Tucker Carlson? What a goose … he went after Sesame Street today … he really did. Shows you what unearned money does to you.

They are currently in the process of telling us what movies and books we can no longer watch or read again.

The great cultural reeeeset as “Hanx” calls it would appear to require book burnings and memory holes.

Re-imagine a New Normal in Year Zero, friends.

No, I wasn’t kidding K-dog. Looting, arson, and attacks on cops had been going on for more than a week. Tensions were high, and this dunce is the only civilian in sight inserting himself into an array of marching policemen, carrying objects and making a move toward one policeman with one of those objects. Then he is shoved. See at about 40 and 1:15 seconds in:

Two more sacrificial cops to appease the mob. And stop with the helmet offer horseshit. Doesn’t happen. The dingbat got dumped, and rightly so.

    • BackRowHeckler June 10, 2020 at 8:42 am #

All these cops being arrested will be acquitted, or charges will be dropped, when things die down, including the 4 in Minneapolis. I was was listening to one of the arrested officers defense attorneys in the Minnesota case and while being interviewed he was holding a copy of Floyd’s toxicology report. It will figure bigly in the unlikely event of any trial. Also, there is much more video than what we have seen so far.

The first thing the defense attorneys are asking for is a change of venue, get their clients out of the lefty hothouse of Minneapolis and back into American jurisdiction.

“Two more sacrificial cops to appease the mob”

No number of cops will appease the mob…the agenda of the mob is different.

It looks like Grandpa Joe has come out of the basement and gathered himself up just enough to ‘Take a Knee’.

    Metaphorically speaking.

But who knows maybe it’s a case of “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up”.

In Brooklyn yesterday, 7 people shot in different incidents (in the much lauded community)

Its gonna be a chaoitic summer. The lid is off, and demons have been unleashed. And I don’t mean political violence, altho there will be plenty of that too. No, I’m talking about out and out mayhem in ‘hoods’ across the US, in Baltimore, in St Louis, in Chicago … the mob smells blood, and it must be sated.

      Ain’t going to happen.
      You are delusional.

Come back here in 6 months and tell me again how this worked out.
      You won’t do it.

      No you won’t.

Janos said, “You just said you wanted reparations above. You are one very confused man, vacillating with every breeze.”

I said, “Reparations should come from the oppressors, not from fellow victims.” As SSL said, “Those who want that sort of thing will never be satisfied…”

“It’s time to identify the real target – the people who set us against each other to fight over crumbs, while they steal the whole cake. The people the current [ world ] system was designed to serve. “

Your next misdirection was, “You also have said we shouldn’t have taken America from the Indians,..” They didn’t have America, they were stewards of a wilderness which was reserved for my people. We built America and it will survive the United States. I do believe our leaders should be required to honor the treaties made with other nations.

akmofo said, “You are stupid and blind and ignorant in not understanding that and what they do to you.”

What I don’t understand is how you can read what I said above, turn around and tell me the same thing and then call me stupid, blind and ignorant for [ I guess ] not using your labels. I will call Bible things by Bible names; Mystery Babylon the Great, Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth.

Because you guys do NOTHING about it. You don’t talk about it, you don’t identify the criminals at the source, you don’t create any kind of public awareness about it, you don’t organize against it, and just allow it to happen. You have been pushed and maneuvered and cowed to the thin line of extinction. Extinction of your identity your dignity your heritage your history your freedoms and your hard won political sovereignty. How else would you describe this as anything else but blindness ignorance and stupidity?

Oh how they love to simultaneous chide and deride us for the very things they have brought into being.

Any and all effort to save ourselves have been met with the outraged screams of Fascism by the very same hypocrites and plotters.

You exactly is “us”, Jan, my slimy Vatican Nazi snake? Who the fsck do you think you’re fooling? Your loyalty is to imperial ROME! You’re not an American, you’re a Vatican agent and propagandist for Vatican Communism branded as “National Socialism”.

          • akmofo June 10, 2020 at 11:58 am #

            Who exactly is “us”

          • Janos Skorenzy June 10, 2020 at 1:10 pm #

Oh that’s right: We don’t exist. So you keep telling us. But we do and if we go, you go.

We don’t need you. You need us. A wise parasite would keep its host alive, eh? But you are not wise….

          • akmofo June 10, 2020 at 1:35 pm #

Again, who exactly is “us”? There are officially 51 flavors of “us”, and in reality there are likely 151 flavors of “us”. And they should be all free and independent of imperial control.

How much land thieving is enough for you? Nevermind Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, UK, Russia, Latin America. You can fit 473 Israels in the land mass of the US. That’s how may flavors of “us” can easily exist for “US”.
