Wondering about who the Harvard Board of Trustees might consider for president of that august outfit once Claudine Gay moves to her new professorship in the graduate program for creative writing? The no-brainer, in more ways than one, has got to be Ibram X. Kendi, the founding director of Boston University’s Center for Antiracist Research, launched in 2020, then un-launched in September, 2023, after BU auditors disclosed that $43-million in donations, endowments, and grants to the center could not be accounted for.

Mistakes were made, BU conceded, mostly by white people seeking to discredit the antiracism movement, proving the persistence of structural racism. Dr. Kendi explained to The New York Times that critics were using the situation “to settle old scores and demonstrate that I’m a problem or that antiracism is a problem,” because blaming the victim is one of the core techniques of those behind structural racism. “Unfortunately, we live in such a polarized, spiteful sort of reactionary moment,” he said.

Surely, the firing of President Gay at Harvard was just such a case of spitefully settling old scores, and Dr. Kendi is the best-qualified candidate to root out the remaining reactionary racists on Harvard’s payroll, who pose the gravest threat to democracy, hate-speech elimination, and equity in academia. We could expect President Kendi to double-down on the institution’s commitment to advancing marginalized people at all costs. Also, consider: Boston U is less than a mile across the Charles River from Harvard, so at least no moving costs to get Dr. Kendi on-board — what with some of the school’s biggest donors (e.g., Wall Street’s Bill Ackman) threatening to withhold future giftings to Harvard’s hedge fund, a.k.a., its endowment.

Perhaps a shrewder hire would be Admiral Rachel (née Richard) Levine, Assistant Secretary for Health at HHS, one of the chief overseers (whoops), I mean, administrators of America’s official Covid-19 policies, and chief promoter of mRNA vaccine mandates. Wikipedia tells us: “Levine was commissioned as a four-star admiral in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, becoming the first openly transgender four-star officer in any of the United States uniformed services as well as the first female four-star admiral in the Commissioned Corps,” evading the fact that s/he is not actually a female, but rather a male pretending to be a female, with scrupulous attention to hair and costume.

Readers can argue as to whether female is interchangeable with the word woman and whether imagining oneself to be a woman is the same as being a woman. But you see this would be exactly the advantage of putting Dr. (pediatrician) Levine in the president’s chair at Harvard: the nation’s attention would shift dramatically from the quandaries of racism and anti-racism to the even richer perplexities of gender identity, while exposing the baleful influence of men who remain on the Harvard faculty in promoting intransigent patriarchy, often tinged with toxic whiteness.

As president of Harvard, Dr. Levine could elevate and emphasize the importance of pretending in higher education. Of course, pretending is already well-established in academic journals and publishing, and especially lately in the medical science surrounding one of Dr. Levine’s specialties, Covid-19 (and its remedies). One can only hope that the admiral will recruit Dr. Eric Feigl-Ding, Chief of the Covid Task Force at the New England Complex Systems Institute, as her chief of staff. As recently as three days ago, Dr. Feigl-Ding tweeted (or X’ed): “Anti-vax campaigns are fueled by disinformation army. Your friends and family are pummeled with disinfo to the point they start to believe it — but don’t fall for it!” Meaning: for goodness sake, go out and get more mRNA booster shots! Especially because, as Dr. F-D also declares on X, “a raging inferno of Covid is surging nationwide.”

One is tempted to ask: if Harvard renewed its Covid vaccine mandate, would Harvard students be intelligent enough to decline the injections? Granted, Harvard’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging policy (DEIB) has front-loaded matters beside intelligence in its admissions procedures. Parents might ask: in the case of a student’s death from myocarditis before the end of a semester, would Harvard refund any or all of the $55,000 tuition? These are some of the perplexities that Dr. (Admiral) Levine is well-equipped to resolve.

Anyone else have some nominations? (hints: Nikole Hannah-Jones, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson? Mika Brzezinski? Ilhan Omar, Megan Rapinoe. . .?)

The largest cell in the human body is the Ova, exclusively found in the reproductive tracts of females, got Ovum?, you’re female.

The only cell in the human body that is classified as a Flagellate is Sperm, exclusively found in the reproductive tracts of males, got Sperm?, you’re male.

Sorry Admiral Levine, squatting to pee does not make you a girl. Pass it on.

    • cowbell81 January 5, 2024 at 10:29 am #

Some people can get all those male and female elements removed though. And then I have heard that come former men are getting their penis all diced up and cut into an incision to make it look like they have a vagina. Some women have undergone reconstruction to pull out the inside lady parts and construct a penis.

This is all just so much insanity. The time and money involved in such an endeavor is ridiculous. But there you go, people have done this and they think they can play God with their bodies. Our society is sick and needs a major reboot.

      • tuco22 January 5, 2024 at 10:31 am #

Yes, I’ve read the descriptions of those operations, and the resultant problems people have afterwards. Horrible.

        • Blackbird January 5, 2024 at 12:37 pm #

To say nothing of the problems they had beforehand, which drove them to insane acts of self-mutilation. Fortunately they have also (most likely) removed themselves from the gene pool.

      • Paula D January 5, 2024 at 11:09 am #

A penis is not a flagellate. A vagina is not an ova.

Slicing, dicing and chopping your external genitals does not change your sex. Removing body parts does not change your sex.

You can’t ever change your chromosomal makeup or the gametes your body is arranged to produce.

        • Cankerpuss January 5, 2024 at 11:43 am #

Genitals are only a small part of the differences between male and females.

Men have larger lungs than women.
          Muscle structure.
Men have longer eye lashes than women.
Women have larger stomachs and livers than men.
Women have a different pelvic structure than men.
Women have longer necks than men.
Women have fuller lips and wider eyes.
Women have more fat on their bodies.
Men gain weight in their bellies, women on their hips.

I could go on and on and on.

          • Cankerpuss January 5, 2024 at 11:47 am #

Seinfeld had a great episode where Jerry dates a beautiful women who has “man hands.” Just look that the hands of a man and a woman. There is a difference there that no surgeon can ever change.

          • Beryl of Oyl January 5, 2024 at 12:16 pm #

That pelvic structure and the difference in the center of gravity make women’s sports an entirely different thing from men’s sports.

Men simply are not playing with the same equipment women are.

          • Paula D January 5, 2024 at 1:03 pm #

Yes, Cankerpuss, men and women have very different bodies and abilities.

I was just responding to Cowbell’s assertion that surgery can change someone’s sex, by further riffing on badberries major point.

OK, Cankerpuss, I misunderstood you. If we all made lists, we could come up with a whole lot of differences, for sure.

Cowbell, have you heard or read what these sorry saps who turn their “member” into a “memberette” have to do to keep the hole open and flexible? It ain’t pleasant. I have also heard that these fake vaginas often bleed, they can’t control their urination and have issues with fecal matter entering the new hole leading to constant stench and infections.

I have not read much about what these new penises are like but I can only assume they don’t function the way the Gods intended nor do they provide the sensations an intact male organ would provide. They also do not have prostate or other male organs and no surgeon can make one. They might be able to remove a blob of flesh from the thigh, shape it into a mass that might resemble one but it will never function the way a god given penis would function.

These people are so sick and deranged, they belong in mental institutions where they can get the help they need. Very sad.

        • elysianfield January 5, 2024 at 12:16 pm #

The public isn’t privy to the realities of transgenderism. They’re only shown the polished final image, the fake smile about how supposedly “happy” the “new” person is with their new persona.

        • tuco22 January 5, 2024 at 2:55 pm #

Yes, the differences in men’s and women’s bodies was the basis for army’s PT test; 2-mile run, so many pushups and sit-ups within a specified time according to your age bracket. So men had to do more pushups than women did because they have greater upper body strength and different musculature. They have greater lung capacity, so they had less time to do a 2-mile run than a female did, etc.

          • tuco22 January 5, 2024 at 3:00 pm #

It used to be that way. Now, though, they have a PT test 80% of women can’t pass because they’ve thrown out those physical differences between men and women and now expect the women to perform as though they have the upper body strength of a man.

        • tuco22 January 5, 2024 at 2:58 pm #

No, the man-made penises don’t function the way God’s do. I’ve read that they can’t orgasm anymore. What a way to live, huh?

          • elysianfield January 5, 2024 at 9:15 pm #

            “No, the man-made penises don’t function…”

        • megabeth January 5, 2024 at 3:31 pm #

Cank, apparently, they denude then embed the native clitoris in the base of the constructed phallus, then sometimes connect one of the pudendal nerv bundles to nerves found in the tissue used for the phallus. I don’t know how well this works, but it sounds like hell. Meatcanyon the cartoonist could not have thought up a more appalling story.

And, assuming this works okay, who is going to tell these new trans men that they are going to have one heck of a time finding a girl and settling down to a happily ever after? We don’t want frankenhusbands.

        • Paula D January 5, 2024 at 6:40 pm #

The really creepy part about the phalloplasties, imo, is not the lump of flesh they sew onto the woman’s genitals, it’s the mutilation of the body part from which they remove the flesh.

I have seen photos of forearms stripped of skin, like a major 3rd degree burn.
The women complain of nerve pain and inability to use their hand.
What did they think having themselves skinned would do?

The lump of displaced flesh is obviously not anything like a functioning penis.
As I understand it, these women are largely lesbians, though.

They have been convinced by the propaganda that they will have better luck with other lesbians if they have a lump on flesh sewn onto their vulvas.

I’ll just leave it there, and let Jarek make any assumptions about their reasoning ability.

        • BackRowHeckler January 5, 2024 at 6:42 pm #

Like I mentioned below, these Mephistolean gender surgeries were cooked up by Dr. Mengele at Auschwitz; you can’t expect sweetness & light, peaches & cream, and happy outcomes.

      • badberries January 5, 2024 at 11:49 am #

        Cowbell81

Yep, Both “procedures” result in open wounds that never really “heal”. The “alterations” will require constant surgical interventions and other treatments ie; cocktails of the newest and priciest big Pharma alchemy “done-up” in a pretty little package and given a sweet, lyrical name. Tragic really.

        What have we become?

        • Blackbird January 5, 2024 at 12:41 pm #

“…require constant surgical interventions…” Fortunately, this need for constant surgery is most likely paid for by the rest of us through higher insurance premiums, or in the case of trannies in the military, through increasingly bloated Pentagon budgets.

          • tuco22 January 5, 2024 at 2:48 pm #

Most of our military is fodder for the slaughter at this point, and our enemies know it.

          • Blackbird January 5, 2024 at 3:05 pm #

I think trannies are exempt from combat. They are exempt from all physical requirements, as I understand it – but suitable for “gender-reassignment surgery” at tax-payer expense.

            They are our “Strategic Reserve”.

          • BackRowHeckler January 5, 2024 at 5:54 pm #

Yes, Trannies are exempt from deployment, also, they are exempt from PT. One wonders, what use are they in the armed forces?

      • C.O.Jones January 5, 2024 at 12:12 pm #

        cowbell correctly said “playing God.”

The underlying premise of this whole travesty is that God made a mistake and I’m going to put it right.

That makes the transgender movement a mass spiritual affliction.

These people are to be prayed for which is much easier to do if they are not in your face demanding preferential treatment.

        • tuco22 January 5, 2024 at 2:42 pm #

    • U R IntheVillage January 5, 2024 at 12:32 pm #

I was a student at Johns Hopkins Medical School 1980-84. One of the professors who lectured us was the psychologist John Money, PhD, who pioneered the idea that the way to handle patients with gender dysphoria (then considered a mental illness) was to allow them to live as the gender they weren’t, but thought themselves to be. Prior to that time, therapy was directed at getting them to accept the anatomically and genetically determined sex with which they were born.

It had been noted that patients with gender dysphoria historically had a number of difficulties with life, such as illicit drug use, depression, suicide, and arrests and imprisonments in greater numbers than normal controls. Money asserted these problems could be resolved if society and the medical system assisted these individuals in transitioning to their preferred sexual identity.

He was not a surgeon, (nor a medical doctor), but he enlisted surgeons to carry out gender reassignment surgeries. A candidate for such surgery was required to live a full year as their desired gender, during which time they received hormone treatments. If they still wanted to proceed after this year (called, “the real-life test”) they could undergo “surgical reassignment.” You know, turning a penis into a vagina or vice versa; removing or installing breasts, etc. A cakewalk surgically. (Not!)

After 10 years of following John Money’s ideas, Johns Hopkins undertook an institutional review of the results. They found that in follow up, there seemed to be no improvement in the surgically treated patients’ lives; the rates of illicit drug use, depression, suicide, and problems with the law were not improved, and in many cases, they were worsened. As an institution, they discontinued the sex-change surgery program.

However, that did not end the surgeries. The surgeries could no longer be performed at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. The surgeons who performed the surgeries for Dr. Money’s patients simply carried them out at different hospitals in Baltimore.

How things have changed. Now Johns Hopkins has a “Center for Transgender and Gender Expansive Health,” and offers a “Complex Gender Microsurgery Fellowship.”

I don’t know when the institution flipped on this issue, but I have watched my Alma Mater spiral downward for over 10 years into wokeism, gender nonsense, political correctness of the most extreme kind, and most recently, pandemic nonsense. I have long since quit supporting them financially. Most of the medical schools in the country have done the same thing as far as I can tell.

I can’t imagine how they are now teaching anatomy or physiology, let alone disease conditions while pretending that male/female differences don’t exist or are irrelevant. God help patients of the future. Things are bad enough already and will only get worse.

Village- Remember the case of John/Joan- an article in Rolling Stone years ago? John lost his penis during a botched circumcision at birth, so they cut the rest of him off and called him Joan. Things didn’t turn out well for Joan. She was a tomboy (because she had a male brain), and eventually she found out what had happened and identified as “trans,” which is to say her real biological sex. Now John, he later confronted the now elderly doctor who botched him, intending to kill him with the gun in his pocket, but the old doctor wept and apologized and saved his own life. I read that John eventually killed himself. I want to say he was seen at Hopkins, but I can’t be sure.

This new gender confusion is coming from the top, and it is being pushed onto everyone, especially the children. Did anyone care about the mental illness of gender confusion, especially when it was carried out mainly in the minds of the insane, and behind closed doors?
It is having to declare your pronouns, and having the use of the “wrong” (correct) pronoun outlawed, and Drag Queen Story Hour, and teaching children that they might be in the wrong body, which requires drugs and surgery, having boys and men competing in girl’s and women’s sports, and having the media, the courts, the prisons, the military, the government, the corporations, all united in referring to clearly male people as “she”, (even in court cases involving rape, when a woman sworn to tell the truth and nothing but the truth, is coerced into referring to her attacker as “she”) that is pissing people off, although they are cancelled if they say so.
They are turning an entire society insane. Why?

There is clearly an agenda in motion, pushing people into submitting to an insane ideology, but what is the point of that?

They already have people believing absurdities and committing atrocities, so why take this extra step?

“The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”

Yes, but if you can convince the masses there’s an enormous problem under the surface that causes the majority of kids to want to be desexed, as is happening, and your goal is to destroy a culture, then you’ll succeed.

The goal of the Establishment seems to be to destroy the middle class and turn us into beggars, thieves, thugs, and addicts. They’ve largely succeeded. And we’ve gone along with it because of team politics, cults of personality, and near-universal dependence on government money. There’s no hope of draining the Swamp as long as we look to the Great White Motherfucker in Washington to provide for our every need and whim — including killing or castrating our kids.

However. It is a step backwards for folks that think that fiscal integrity is key to stopping the descent into hell the country is approaching quickly.

He is still a Democrat with the basic tenet that spending money is the way you solve social issues.

I do not give a damn about Trump’s personality or how many females he had chasing him last century, I want his conservative, “You are fired’ mentality at the helm. No more Deep State appointments, pull people in who are going to dis enfranchise the Deep State. Destroy the Deep State and with it the Leftist MSM. That has got to be the goal to set the ship of state back on course.

Trump was fantastic on getting rid of regulatory red tape, but he was no fiscal conservative. Austerity is not in his vocab. It’s been guns AND butter on the federal level for as long as I can remember.

Cpuss: “Draining the swamp” is the equivalent of asking Congre$$ to vote for their own term limits. Ain’t gonna happen. It’s why many pundits / futurists are predicting a new form of governance by the early 2030s and not just for the U.S. The current kleptocracy has about 8 -9 more years, perhaps even less, before it self-destructs.

I was always mystified by Trump’s seeming inability to surround himself with his people.

Trump’s supporters make the same excuses that the supporters of every traitor to occupy the White House always make: “He tried to do the right thing, but he was obstructed by the Democrats/Republicans in Congress.

No, Trump did what he was paid to do: increase division, bankrupt the country, rob the poor to enrich the rich, and be Israel’s bitch.

No one will ever occupy the White House who deviates – even slightly – from these objectives.

I disagree. There is quite a bit of evidence that he was simply stymied.

There are things I don’t like about him, but most of them superficial. His policies both foreign and domestic were good (generally), but he made the mistake of thinking he could appeal to common sense and the self-interest of those he worked with.

What I think he now understands is that there is a global coup underway, and the participants have gone too far to stop.

    • Beryl of Oyl January 5, 2024 at 10:31 am #

Speaking of RFK Jr., he has just been the recipient of savage attacks on Twitter.

As many know by now, Twitter invents the ‘trends’, and throws them out there for people to have at it.

Someone with RFK’s campaign put out an announcement that mentioned a couple of entertainers were going to show up to support Junior at an event.

      This was false.

One of the celebrities, Martin Sheen took it even further, not only announcing that he does not support RFK Jr., but that he supports Joe Biden and the Democratic Party.

Well of course he supports Biden. His son Charlie is almost interchangeable with Hunter. Hunter does not have the propensity to beat up on women that Charlie does, however.

This got me thinking, where does all the wrath against RFK Jr. come from, among celebutard types?

He more than supports all their alleged cherished libtarded ideas, without the destructiveness that they must see coming from the Biden administration.

You’d think they’d be grateful, giving them an easy out to having to support something like Biden, or else go Republican.

    Who’s Sorry Now?

Is this how these behemoths always end up? Government Motors (aka General Motors), Google (said to be beset with virtual institutional paralysis derived from siloed fiefdoms)? The US military?

    • Alfred January 5, 2024 at 11:10 am #

This is an excellent point. Too big to manage is how I look at it. The organization grows to the point where it cannot really be managed. It’s imperceptible, but that’s when the pretending starts. Overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of things under management, individuals responsible for managing start to fake it. Eventually the system collapses from it’s own weight.

      Yes, I agree.

You would think as a CEO or board member, you could see it coming, or even LOOK for it coming. But the chaos that ensues does cover the looting…

The law of entropy. All things deteriorate. Most exemplified by Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of a man made of metal except his feet, and the metals debased as they went down from the head to the feet, beginning with gold and ending up as miry clay at the feet.

      • SpeedyBB January 6, 2024 at 4:12 am #

Rooting around in my Archive, I came across a Tyler Durden ZERO HEDGE essay from 2014, with an analysis relevant to what is expostulated above:

‘The State is threatened by a decline. Generally it moves into full pretend mode. Three behavioral traits characterize its behavior. The State must convince citizens:
        1. things are not as bad as they seem.
        2. the State is not responsible for the situation.
        3. the State must do more (grow bigger) in order to solve the problems.

‘Statistics issued by the State are fudged to convey a false image of well-being. Government spending soars in an effort to juice reported economic activity. Much of the spending is unproductive in terms of providing things that would have otherwise been bought. It is also counterproductive to a proper functioning economy as price discovery is disrupted and consumer and investment decisions are based on false signals.

‘Incentives are provided to encourage people to live beyond their means. Debt appears nearly free and readily available. Bubbles occur and then burst. New bubbles are necessary to replace old bubbles. People and businesses are encouraged to make imprudent decisions, all in the attempt to make the economy appear better.

‘The State has one objective and that is to remain in power. Laws and regulations multiply at ever faster rates. Tyrannical rules and legislation are passed under the pretense of protecting the people against some threat. In reality, these laws are passed to protect the leaders against the public when they finally understand what has been done to them.

‘“Bread and circuses” increase to divert people’s attention from the developing problems.

‘Dependency increases, reflecting an attempt to placate the masses.

‘A “wag the dog” war or crisis is often used as a means to rally the public against some phony enemy.’

From afar (12 time zones away) I’d suggest he’s pretty much on the money.

    • Cankerpuss January 5, 2024 at 11:28 am #

Naw, I don’t think so. Nothing collapses in this Country. Every perversion, every massive institution, every Government agency, every professional sporting team, they just continue on and on and on. Nothing ever collapses.

There is no real left and right, John.

As so often, you revert to old and rather simplistic explanations for situations that are far more complex.

There are many shades of grey, and even on what you might call the right, there are camps that simply pretend to want freedom, because they can grift off of it.

The reality is that we live under a beast system, and the beastmasters have infiltrated all levels of society that matter for control.

If you want to break the battle down in very simple terms, there are people who will stop at nothing to remain free, and there are people who will stop at nothing to destroy freedom if they are getting paid enough to do it.

I go to a local gym daily to burn calories and try to fight back the ravages of old age. The gym is extremely crowded right now as all of the fatties have begun their new years resolutions. As usual, within two weeks these fatties will gradually disappear and the gym will return to moderate levels thus permitting we regulars the opportunity to use the weight machines again.

And yes, there are a lot of fatties in this Country. I wouldn’t blame it entirely on what people are eating. I blame it entirely on the fact that people eat way too much of it and spend the majority of their time sitting on their fat rumps watching the tee vee or eye-fone. I maintain my weight by just being cognizant of what I am shoving into my piehole and how many calories I burn.

Calories-in / Calories Out is a weigh loss myth that has failed for the last five decades. You want to lose weight and get rid of chronic diseases? Eat a strictly carnivore diet. It works for me and lots of others. There is a reason why no cave man ever painted a picture of a salad on any cave wall ever. Meat is our ancestrally appropriate diet. It is the proper human diet. Go on YouTube. Look up Dr. Anthony Chaffee; Dr. Ken Berry; and Dr. Shawn Baker and start learning how to be healthy and fit simply by abandoning the Standard American Diet (SAD) and processed “foods” and eating instead all-natural, organically raised animal foods.

What always amused me, in a perverse manner (as a perverse sort), is the account of those most intimately involved in deploying, handling and controlling nuclear weapons. They tend to be the ones most aghast at what they are doing and what might result from what they have done.

            “The sorcerer’s apprentice” effect.

A wise old Bengali once remarked to me “No weapon has ever been invented that was not used in battle” and I could think of no example to prove him wrong.

It is as though the two “wake-up calls” of August 1945 are long forgotten. we are rather far from the two instances when the attention of the soporific Hirohito was forcibly aroused by the annihilation of two of his cities.

The fanatic, warlike Muslims (“faces insane with purpose” – pace Wm. Burroughs) would have no qualms about launching one – even against fellow believers.

Quite impressed with the fact that it has not happened yet, although we have come close (Cuba 1962 … Okinawa as well…) It is as though a higher force dampens the urge to launch at a critical moment.

I put my money on UFOs as opposed to religious conviction), as described in the 2010 National Press Club UFO Conference by elderly retired USAF officers: “…an entire flight of missiles shut down, just like that…”

Freak shows galore! All around us are perverts and misfits, mostly of the Demoncrap persuasion. As relatively normal homo sapiens, it often seems too much to bear. Add in the corruption of our federal agencies like the FBI and CIA, among many, and life seems very harsh and threatening. How to defeat our foreign enemies when we cannot even defeat the marxists and their useful idiots here, is a mystery.

    • JohnAZ January 5, 2024 at 10:55 am #

      Yes!!!!

Unfortunately, it is going to take the total failure of the federal government to right the course. That means the abdication of the Deep State as the No. 1 of the world.

That could be a very good thing.

I’d go a little further to say that it is going to take divine intervention to correct the ship. This world is so effed up right now. No political party, no Donald Trump or RFK Jr are going to get people to think right. The God or Gods of this world will need to “cull” the herd eventually to right the ship. People have just lost their minds and nobody trusts anything……or anyone.

    Greetings,

The Ivy League schools have jumped the shark and it is there for all to see.

What information is locked up in any university such that I can not find it online, in ten seconds, and for free?

Failing that, if pretending to be a woman or a cat makes me one then pretending to have Harvard credentials means that I have them. Right?

I dare anyone to say otherwise.

You know, Nicklethrower, you may have something there. Does the advent of so much information on the internet and the educational outlets there make it so that the only thing to do in University is the BS programs they have now.

Michael Douglas in The American President had a line that was wonderful. When Martin Sheen asked him about his grades in school, he said he only had one C. Women’s studies, because it wasn’t what he thought it was.

Harvard seems to be the best place to dump someone like Harris who can then wallow in the waves of pity she so richly deserves.

I’m grateful to Vivek for getting that “bend the knee” expression out there.

Does anybody know who the reporter was, the one he gave the drubbing to when she tried to get him to denounce White Supremacy?

That was a masterful comeback he had, but it occurs to me that we don’t know whether or not the person he was replying to was a plant unless we know her identity.

    • SoftStarLight January 5, 2024 at 11:13 am #

I can’t find her name but she is with the Washington Post. Generally any reporter from the Washington Post is a plant. Any journalist with an agenda is a plant.

      • Beryl of Oyl January 5, 2024 at 12:23 pm #

Thank you. Yes, she would be a plant, but my concern is that she could have been a plant by Vivek’s people, to tee up his wonderful lecture.

I still don’t understand what’s happening. I think Vivek wants to reduce immigration completely and has said he will use the military to seal the border. A stronger stand than any other white Democrat or Republican has taken except Trump, who unfortunately re-negged on many of his immigration promises.

          • Jarek January 6, 2024 at 1:48 am #

Maybe he will stop immigration and enable millions of refugees. One of our posters used that trick on us. We were talking about immigration and they pretended to agree with us, all the while arguing for massive refugee programs. The legalistic mind delights in differences that don’t make a difference, and fool their opponents.

As it is, Vivek has come out in favor of a massive visa program for Indian workers that we simply do not need. Utterly destructive to OUR Nation and OUR People. He has no loyalty to these.

In Britain, people noticed how many of the refugees decided to go home for the holidays. Wait – weren’t they in danger? Isn’t that why they were let in? We’re so easily fooled…..

          • GreenAlba January 6, 2024 at 7:24 am #

Please stop lying, toad. That was straight out of your own head.

Refugees are, legally, different from immigrants. Recognising that clear legal distinction does not in any way imply approval of either mass immigration or mass refugee influx, except in your gaslighting brain, which I realise will never, ever stop gaslighting and lying, sadly.

Something weird on Next door here.

A woman and her dog. I will try to make it short.

Her dog was behaving abnormally, Panting, pacing, nervous, ears pinned back, tail tucked, refused to eat. She gave him a trazodone which helped a little for a while.

She took him to the vet. Bloodwork good, X-ray negative.

She took him for a walk, and he was better but did not want to enter the house on return,

The vet came up with the solution. He asked if they had any Smart Outlets in the house which I believe are the appliances that are used to turn lights out or whatever when used with Alexa.

They unplugged them all, he stopped the pacing and panting and ate a meal. When the outlets were plugged back in, the behavior repeated. The husband used an app to test the frequency of the outlets and it was “off the charts”. The outlets were disconnected and lo and behold, the dog returned to normal.

    FYI!

    • Beryl of Oyl January 5, 2024 at 10:50 am #

      That is good to know.

There is a new disease going around in dogs, just at a time when it is extremely hard to get a veterinary appointment.

      Some kind of cough.

It’s strange, we keep seeing announcements from various “world” bodies, that we are going to have to give up owning pets, and now there is a mysterious new disease, right on the heels of a bat flu.

      • Anthea January 6, 2024 at 11:48 pm #

I wonder if it’s caused by dog vaccinations.

Before I moved outside of town, I had to get a rabies shot for my dog, but he hasn’t had any shots since.

My daughter says she has stopped taking her dog to the dog park because of this new disease. Apparently there has been an outbreak in her area.

    • tuco22 January 5, 2024 at 10:51 am #

      Wow, enough said.

    • SoftStarLight January 5, 2024 at 11:06 am #

Yep, those frequencies that the devices operate on are suspected to cause things like this. This is why so many people were worried about 5G. Perhaps many of the health problems suspected to be associated with the jabs are actually due to the fact that the air is jammed up with all of these competing frequencies that are transforming the cells within our bodies as well as our pets, etc. It makes sense that it gets worse once the entire home is “smart”.

      • Not_GeorgeT January 5, 2024 at 11:39 am #

Synergy is in play, my opinion, and the list is likely longer than ‘jab’ and ‘5G’.

          What does this mean?

          • Not_GeorgeT January 6, 2024 at 3:17 am #

Such an open-ended question… can you be a bit more specific?

I put synergy into play, referring to jab and 5G, opining the list would likely be much longer (longer = include many more parts).

            Agree!!

      • Yirgach January 5, 2024 at 12:27 pm #

Yeah, most of the medical experts on RF issues say that 5G needs more study as to it’s safety. It’s not like the cell phone/WiFi drama of the 90’s which turned out to be more of a learned allergic reaction than anything else.

However most of the smart outlet tech uses low power low data rate at close proximity. This is not 5G by any stretch.

        • SoftStarLight January 5, 2024 at 1:20 pm #

Oh ok. Well then what is it?

          • Yirgach January 5, 2024 at 2:17 pm #

Most of these devices use something based on a radio protocol known as Zigbee (IEEE 802.15.4). At some level it is essentially WiFi but using 2.4GHz, 90MHz, and 800-900MHz frequencies, has a range of 10-20 meters indoors, 75-300 outdoors and supports mesh networking.

These frequencies have been used for quite a while (like 900 MHz garage door openers) and their effects on living organisms are well known. This could be what was upsetting the dog especially if it was using a cheap leaky knockoff. Normally dogs can’t hear much above 100,000 Hz, while humans are limited to around 20,000 Hz.

          • SoftStarLight January 5, 2024 at 4:03 pm #

            Oh. Wow that is interesting.

        • Ron Anselmo January 5, 2024 at 11:07 pm #

Yirgach – early on, the “vaccines” were determined to have graphene oxide as a component. As I understand it, the molecular structure of graphene oxide has an antennae-like structure.

Does it make sense that cells could then conduct frequencies (be maliciously manipulated) at a cellular level? By 5G for example?

During “Covid” there was no slowdown in rolling out 5G. On the contrary, there was some curious sense of urgency, to keep installations moving forward as quickly as possible.

I may not have asked the question properly. I’m an idiot when it comes to frequencies and their effects.

          • Yirgach January 6, 2024 at 2:19 pm #

            Ron,

There is a lot of communication in the body which uses the nervous and endocrine systems. While they are both regulatory mechanisms, the nervous system uses electricity to communicate very quickly while the endocrine system uses hormones which act more slowly. Both systems can be affected by external environmental forces.

When it comes to RF or EMF frequencies it takes quite a bit to disrupt these systems. When microwaves started to be used for communications the US Navy built a room sized microwave oven to test the effect of microwaves on human volunteers.Other than a need for hydration (they got sweaty) and eye protection (the eyeball has capillaries very close to the surface) there were no other short or long term effects observed.

These were frequencies in the GHz range which could cook a potato but not a living human with a circulatory system to dissipate the additional energy. They also found no DNA damage because DNA transcription occurs in pico second frequencies (trillionth of a second) as opposed to the much slower microwaves (millionth of a second). It is similar to a model-T trying to intercept an F16.

As yet there is no known mechanism for graphene oxide to act as an antenna to charge a capacitor or flip a transistor gate.

At very short distances (several meters) 5G cells can use millimeter wavelengths to communicate. These shorter wavelengths have trouble passing through walls and human bodies and the health issues are unknown. That is one reason why more study of 5G is recommended.

Another related area is the use of nano machines within the human body. There have been more than a few SciFi stories written about future possibilities, but at the moment that’s all there is…

I’m not a doctor (engineer actually) but I’ve had to research some of these issues for professional reasons. Hope that answered at least part of your question.

          • Ron Anselmo January 6, 2024 at 11:47 pm #

Yirgach – thanks for the lengthy reply, I appreciate your taking the time. Engineer by education also (structural), but skated through some pre-req electrical by the skin of my teeth. The Model-T/F-16 analogy helped. Thanks again, your answer was clarifying for me.

Libel law. You must prove the lies or truths you say in campaigns or in the media. Falsehoods by the media are included. The affected party has the legal right to sue for defamation.

That is exactly what New York is trying to do to Trump right now. When he is exonerated I hope he sues every one of the SOBs, starting with Jack Smith and the rotten RINOs that have made their way by excoriating Trump.

JohnAZ, that sounds good, but, you are assuming the law would be obeyed and enforced. I, personally, am wearied about using the legislature to create more laws to resolve the ills of society. Doesn’t work anymore. People need to correct themselves inwardly and stop using politicians and laws to fix our problems.

More laws. I saw a good example of that the other day. We were at a convenience store and the prices of cigarettes and vape products were advertised in the window. The vape products were actually more expensive than the cigarettes. This is the result of Tammy Baldwin’s and Ron Kind’s vape tax that’s supposed to “discourage” teen smoking.

I hereby nominate Sam Brinton for the next vacancy on the Supreme Court of the United States.

You remember Sam – the Biden appointed transvestite formerly in charge of nuclear waste. I’m not casting aspersions but instead stating facts.

I think it’s a crime against humanity that the Supreme Court has ZERO non-binary justices who have felt the angst of being sought as a fugitive from justice for ripping off luggage from airport baggage carousels. Only someone who has felt that sort of persecution is fit to serve on the Supreme Court.

Whenever Sammy “Leg-Humper” Brinton has wardrobe anxiety, it just takes a trip to the nearest airport.

It needs to do its shopping in Commiefornia where it is a civil right to relieve others of up to $950 in merchandise.

(Try not to imagine what Sammy “Butt-Sniffer” Brinton has on underneath that robe… I know – too late!)

    • Cankerpuss January 5, 2024 at 11:09 am #

I’m stunned by the sizes of the endowments of many of these “institutions of higher learning.” Harvard, Stanford, Princeton are over $40 billion dollars. University of Texas, Michigan and California are over $10 billion dollars. Most other large public universities are overing around $1 billion dollars with smaller universities containing endowments under $500 million.

Why are they even charging tuition when these endowments make enough to cover the tuition of every student. Oh wait, I forgot, they have to pay idiots like Claudine Gay a salary of $800 – $900 thousand dollars a year to “teach.”

Nobody cares. Nobody gives a damn.

      • Beryl of Oyl January 5, 2024 at 11:25 am #

I saw someplace just how much money universities waste on DIE.

Enough to significantly lower the cost of tuition so students would not end up mired in forever debt because they wanted an education which would open doors otherwise closed to them.

You can’t offer a product no one can afford to buy, and still stay in business.

Universities did not have to lower their prices, because the government stepped in to help entice Americans to keep buying their product.

The political class benefits greatly from this arrangement, in myriad ways.

It’s a racket, deserving of a RICO investigation.

Her’s what somebody called i/o has said on X about the cost of DIE:

DEI divisions at large state universities are often huge. At Michigan, for example, DEI is so big that if its payroll were converted to a scholarship fund for in-state students, nearly 900 people could attend Michigan tuition-free.

Consider instead shuttering a majority of these money laundromats.

The value of a degree has been greatly diluted by ‘degree creep’ in many occupations.

          • socialisthater January 5, 2024 at 12:13 pm #

I am living proof that one can have a successful career and a good life with “just” a Bachelor’s degree from a small, conservative college. For several years, I worked in management where attorneys and advanced degreed people worked for and answered to me. Life and work experience is far more important that how much “wallpaper” one has in degrees.

          • tuco22 January 5, 2024 at 12:18 pm #

Now that there’s a big push for “degree-less” hiring, and the outright removal of a degree requirement for government jobs in some states, that may just happen.

          • C.O.Jones January 5, 2024 at 12:24 pm #

Not_GeorgeT – My work experience has led me to the conclusion that anyone who keeps showing up and keeps paying the bill can get a master’s degree.

I know far too many idiots who possess master’s degrees.

My dad is the smartest guy I’ve ever known and one of his sayings went: Everyone knows what BS is. MS is more of the same. A PHD is piled higher and deeper.

25 years ago, I had to work my backside off to get a 4 year degree in computer science. They are now offering a master’s in 10 weeks at some online colleges. Part of building a team is recognizing and weeding out these degree holders.

          • Not_GeorgeT January 6, 2024 at 4:03 am #

C.O. I think we are in agreement regarding this topic.

I have a graduate degree. I also have pocket cash to purchase items such as a cup of coffee. The pocket cash exchanges for the cup of coffee.

None of the occupations which contributed to my ‘earning a living’ required a degree.

The degree … a personal achievement and a satisfying experience, it was definitely an individual choice. I’d do it again.

I kept my ‘day job’ while going to grad school. It was never about career advancement. It did give me some options for future use which otherwise would not have been available.

The afore-mentioned personal achievement and satisfaction are internal motivators.

I lived well with the ‘day job’ for decades.

        • Cankerpuss January 5, 2024 at 11:53 am #

What you just wrote infuriates me to no end. The fact that a place like Harvard charges $55,000 a year to a young moneyless student with an endowment fund of $46 billion is incredibly immoral and heinous. But, they have a waiting list and reject most of the applicants who want to attend using student loans to pay the exorbitant tuition so the Claudine Gay’s of the world can make all of that money.

Like I said before, nobody cares. Nobody gives a damn. Nobody in power, that is. Those of us who do are powerless to do anything about it.

Paula – an oft overlooked trade/career – power company linemen.

Have a friend in Florida, over 30 years with the power company. He always says they struggle with a shortage of personnel – most lacking work ethic.

They have started a 2-year apprentice program, where trainees make $35/hour, ~ $73K annually. After graduation, pay goes to $55/hour, ~ $114K annually. Both based on straight time, Overtime is time and a half – $82.50/hour.

Storm work – hurricanes in NOLA or forest fires in Paradise, CA are triple time, $165/hour or $6.600/week. Storm work is never 8’s – 10’s, 12’s & 14’s – so overtime as well.

He has a few youngsters under his wing, 21-23 years old – that want to work – making upwards of $250K/year.

Essential workers? Yep. When they lose their jobs, we’ll be back in the 1800’s.

No doubt, it’s hard work, and the union gets their pound of flesh, but it’s still good money with plenty of job security in economic times both good and bad.

        • Paula D January 6, 2024 at 12:03 pm #

I have great respect for lineman. I put a sign up on my fence when I got my power back in only 3 days after the derecho-
          “Thank you linemen.”

But damn! I think I’d rather wait for the electricity to come back on rather than have those guys out there in the middle of a storm. What’s the hurry? The wind is blowing, the thunder and lightening are roaring, and my electricity comes back on?

All power to the men who do it, but I’d freak out if my son joined them.

          • Ron Anselmo January 7, 2024 at 2:30 am #

Some of their concern, is obviously hospitals on that same leg, but hospitals usually have sufficient emergency power backup.

Some homeowners though, have medical devices that require electricity to operate – thus, potentially life-saving timing.

In Florida, I think the wind threshold is 35 mph winds or less, before they can start repairs – simply for their safety.

These guys (and girls) are unsung heroes throughout most of the year, but in Florida – after the hurricanes – they are heroes, like the calvary and appreciatively treated as such.

          • Not_GeorgeT January 7, 2024 at 10:48 am #

No power (electricity) limits movement. The gas and diesel won’t flow out of the pump w/out electricity.

Dialysis patients need to be brought to the kidney center, usually by ambulance. It is normally a scheduled routine trip which requires diesel to power the vehicle.

At day three without power those routine transports become emergencies and further strain a fragile system.

My late parents were friends with a couple who lived in a house built on pilings, at Seal Beach. We stayed overnight there once. It was quite a thrill, and kind of startling, to feel the ocean waves slamming in under the house regularly.

I was thus quite amused that after the 2004 Phuket tsunami, many of these elite owners of ritzy beachfront houses began to get nervous when it dawned on them that they could be wiped clean away with little notice.

Did you see what the protestors did at the State Capitol in Sacramento? They shut down the Democrat session. The Capitol police just stood by with their thumbs up their asses and did nothing. The chamber was cleared and the protestors just stayed in there and sang. The lights were turned off and they stayed in there. No charges were levied against these people who disrupted an actual legislative session. Yet, the people who walked into the National Capitol for a free tour provided by the capitol police are still rotting in DC jails.

No, that’s the mistake people keep making, is thinking that we’re still a representative republic that operates on a constitution and bill of rights, and that’s why they’re so flummoxed when their elected representatives or their minions flagrantly break those laws or abrogate those rights. That was yesterday. The reality today is that we’re no longer a representative republic with a constitution and a bill of rights. We are now a neo-Marxist oligarchy. Congress is at this point little more than an American politburo consisting of Inner Party (Senate) and Outer Party (House) members. Every bit of legislation they put out reflects this. Biden basically governs by executive order.

  22. Beryl of Oyl January 5, 2024 at 11:10 am #

I was reading someplace about people not understanding just how stupid these DEI folk can be. I’m beginning to see that for myself.

I’m beginning to understand some things about the difference between Affirmative Action and DIE.

RFK Jr, has come out solidly in favor of continuing Affirmative Action forever because reasons, but he does not understand that DIE is the new Affirmative Action, and it does not benefit black Americans it benefits mostly black female morons who are the children of immigrants, because for some reason American institutions of higher learning owe some sort of debt to everybody else in the world.

I was just reading some really stupid things that former Surgeon General Jerome Adams was saying, and I have to conclude that he was the beneficiary of Affirmative Action at some point, because he
Couldn’t have gotten where he is on merit.

Dr. Adams has said some things that prove that he is not completely stupid in the past.

I think that may be because, even with help from AA you still had to master the course work to become an MD.

Under DIE it is unfair that you can’t be in high places just because you are stupid, because white people used up all the smartness because of their privilege.

    • SoftStarLight January 5, 2024 at 11:23 am #

Wow there are so many racial undertones to this i’m not even sure how to respond. Basically there is no daylight at all between DEI and AA. Maybe a progression or a degree but essentially they’re the same thing dressed in new terminologies. A lot of people are stupid. And in many cases, whether they are white men or black women they are able to secure positions of power within society. Society rewards stupid if it benefits enough people. That is why it’s better to ask “What kinda stupid are you?” rather than “Are you stupid?”.

      • cowbell81 January 5, 2024 at 11:41 am #

Biden is so stupid that he was able to become President of the United States. As commonly mentioned, never underestimate his ability to fuck things up.

        • tuco22 January 5, 2024 at 11:47 am #

Biden was never presidential material. But he was willing to sell out his country to be president. Because that’s the only way he could attain that office. And I know he’s just the latest in a long line.

          • Cankerpuss January 5, 2024 at 11:58 am #

            Bingo, Tuco.

        • SoftStarLight January 5, 2024 at 1:27 pm #

The Bidens are the real exemplars of white privilege. Most people don’t understand that white privilege must correspond to party privilege to truly manifest. That is why Trump does not have white privilege. His whiteness is disassociated from the party and is therefore fair game for attack. Biden’s whiteness is unquestioned because he is the “leader” of the party. At least that is the image they put out there. So he is just a good ole white granddaddy given the kids all the candy they want.

          • Paula D January 5, 2024 at 7:06 pm #

The Bidens are examples of privilege, period, as are the Obamas.

Nothing to do with skin color. It comes from a willingness to be corrupt.

      • Beryl of Oyl January 5, 2024 at 12:42 pm #

What the heck is a racial undertone and why would it require a response?

        • SoftStarLight January 5, 2024 at 1:30 pm #

There is an underlying anti-black tone within the text of your post. It felt very close to something potentially racist. And so it was difficult for me to focus on responding when I was also dealing with incorporating these harsh realities into my thought processes. But essentially my explanation is clarifying. I think it is incumbent on folks to be responsible in their race discussions. Therefore a response is actually necessary.

          • Beryl of Oyl January 5, 2024 at 1:59 pm #

I’m glad you reviewed my post for racism. You could go to work for Facebook, or qualify for a job at Harvard.

          • Blackbird January 5, 2024 at 2:00 pm #

Softie, I think you are being too soft.

Beryl said, “…DIE is the new Affirmative Action, and it does not benefit black Americans “. Potentially racist?!

Thinking that blacks are so inferior that they need to cheat in order to succeed (i.e., AA, DIE…), seems much more “racist” to me.

And putting people in positions of authority because they check the right boxes (race, gender, species of gender confusion…), is about as racist (“sexist”, “gender identity-ist”) as you can get.

SoftStarLight, your light may be lovely but it’s not very bright.

For one thing, you don’t know how to express your points effectively. It doesn’t help to hedge and qualify your words constantly:

underlying anti-black tone … very closepotentially racist … essentially my explanation is clarifying … a response is actually necessary.”

Do you really believe this stuff? It sounds like you’re regurgitating talking points from BLM but in the back of your mind you have doubts so you unconsciously soften them (or softstarlight) them.

Admission standards for Black applicants to American medical schools have been lower than those for Asians and Whites for decades. There is now serious discussion in academic medicine about having lower med school graduation standards for Blacks.

      You’re right, Beryl.

I darn near cried when Bobby Kennedy said he was “in favor of a market based solution to the carbon crisis…like carbon taxes.” That is a tax on breathing.

He walked back his support of reparations saying he would create ‘economic opportunity zones’ or something to that effect.

I thought I had found a candidate to support but…silly me. Silly melanin deficient me. Excuse me while I go engage in self-flagellation. I’ve got it coming to me.

      • Beryl of Oyl January 5, 2024 at 12:41 pm #

Those opportunity zones have been done, and they are a racket.

If they worked, they would have worked.

Kennedy needs to quit thinking it is still 1977.

      • JohnAZ January 5, 2024 at 1:01 pm #

        Yeah, economic opportunity zones.

I have seen every generation of politician since 1960 bring up this albatross.

You want the minorities to self-improve. To better themselves, you need to get to the kids, tell them they are worthwhile and the future of their ethnic group. IOW, undo the damage that has happened to them since their birth by their parents’ culture.

Much controversy has arisen of Michael Ohr, the Blind Side and his adoptive family deriving benefit from the story. They accepted Michael for himself, recognized his talent, built his self image, and created a decent human being. Now how can we build that nurturing into the Black community?

Certainly not by listening to Al Sharpton, who has done more to destroy the Black population in the country than anyone else.

New definition. What is it when a person is supposed to be an academician but achieves it through plagiarism, and promotes anti-sematism on a prime university campus and brags about it to Congress, then is fired for non- or even evil performance.

        All together now. RACISM!!!!!!!!!

        Eff you, Sharpton.

Your comment reminds me that I heard just the other day a discussion about that book “Behind the Green Mask”. I don’t recall who wrote it. But it addresses this issue. Essentially the green movement is nothing more than cover for the greatest corporate theft of natural resources that has ever taken place in known history. Many people who think they are green are only green because of their love of money.

Exactly. Pfizer claimed 95% efficacy. That was a fraudulent claim as it referred to relative efficacy (and wasn’t true anyway). Absolute efficacy was 0.86%.

            Define efficacy/

Prevent the disease? It did not.

Provide T cell long term protection? It did not.

Provide protection from complications that require hospitalization, the one claim to fame they have hung onto, but now it looks like even that is a falsehood.

So what does it do, nothing except feed big bucks into the pharma group and cause oodles of sequelae when the eventual covid finally hits.

For me, I think it will take time, I hope that my immune system “heals”. I really hope that it has maintained all my lifetime history in it, and not just covid, and now pertussis.

In the meantime, do not get within a mile of a covid needle if you value your immunity.

        • Paula D January 6, 2024 at 12:16 pm #

As I understand it, they measured circulating antibodies to the spike protein, in the blood.

Did the antibodies provide protection from the virus? No.
Plus, the virus was gone by summer, 2020, when they started releasing subsequent “variants”.

Do antibodies circulate in your blood forever? No, the T and B cells take over to provide lifelong immunity.

Meanwhile, the GMO protein factories were shown to still be functioning in 20% of people 6 months after they were injected.

          Very dangerous for those people.

          • Paula D January 6, 2024 at 12:24 pm #

Actually, the first variant released was the UK one, and that wasn’t in summer, it was in Dec. 2020, right on time for the release of the GMO injectable.
And that was done deliberately, as we know from the email stating so from the news reader.

In the meantime, I checked on a former friend to see if he is still crazy. Yep. Here’s his post about contracting “covid”.

“I’m bummed that I may have been a transmission vector. I’m also bummed that this may be my first roll of the dice for Long COVID.
I’m grateful, though, that years of masking delayed it this long. I’m grateful that G and B have tested negative so far. And I’m grateful that the vaccine and boosters have made this case so mild that I didn’t even know I had it. A bit of a runny nose and throat congestion is much better than what this virus has brought to so many others. And I have science to thank for that.”

His wife quit her teaching job because the principal refused to force the students to mask, and she thought that the kids were going to kill her with covid.
They both were never seen without masks, until she showed up one day with no mask, but a mask-shaped fungal infection around her mouth.
Hmmm, guess that taught her, but not him.

An old school physician that I know–that is, one that believes in actual biology–opined some new names for surgical genital mutilation in the name of self-delusion of pretending to be a different sex than what a person is biologically. He calls removal and mutilation of male genitalia to “become” a woman “pussification.” As for female genitalia being surgically modified into a something resembling a penis, he calls it an “addadictomy.”

In the Socialist dictatorship utopia that the Democrat scum are working day and night to establish permanently in the U.S., such self-delusion is a central part of the ideology: the Socialists who do nothing but destroy wealth will be in charge of running the economy; criminals who are nothing but evil parasites will run free, while productive Americans are harassed and persecuted; American military power will be squandered on propping up corrupt Nazi-loving dictatorships in Ukraine while an endless invasion of foreigners–many of them sworn enemies of the United States–invade the country unfettered across the southern border; the government will literally use policies that will lead to millions of Americans starving to death or freezing in the dark within a few years, supposedly to save them from the remote to non-existent possibility of dying from climate change 50-75 years or more from now; all while the Socialist elites, who profess “equality” are making sure that they are immune to their own evil, and everyone else can just take one for the team.

The Democrat scum elites are evil to the core, just like Hitler and Stalin, and must be stopped, period. I’m not really caring, anymore, about how that will be done. The Democrat elites have made their own bed of evil–how they are made to sleep in it is now in the realm of “whatever works” in my book.

Maybe it was a German thing then, Jarek. Altho the Soviet Union had something similar in their Gulags which I think was called Dept. X. Their experiments were mostly geared to how much work could be gotten out of a gulag prisoner on how little food, how many hours a prisoner could last at -50°F temps logging in the forest, and the amount of mosquito bites a worker could sustain before dying.

Fun stuff like that, maximizing labor on a strictly economical basis.

You forgot some things, JohnAZ. CBDC’s, elimination of the 2nd amendment, I’m even thinking possibly making Christmas a non-national holiday, like Eid or Rosh Hashana. You know, to be fair. After all, Obama said we’re not a Christian nation. And it’s not equitable to have a Christian national holiday with so many non-Christians in the country.

      • JohnAZ January 5, 2024 at 1:26 pm #

Tuco. Here are some facts about Christmas.

        According to the 2020 census:

        64% of Americans are Christian,
        30% are non-affiliated with a religion

6% are Jewish, Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist.

Now January we have MLK Monday for 16%
May. Memorial Day for the Dead veterans, July 4th for the entire nation minus the malcontents, September for the working people, etc.

Christmas is not just a religious holiday as most of the unaffiliated love Santa Claus and the sweetness of the season. 64% of the country makes Christmas the most people celebrated holiday except maybe the 4th.

Obama said we are not a Christian nation?

The media’s raison d’être SHOULD be presenting the unadorned facts, i.e. , the truth as far as can be determined. This SHOULD be their default position; otherwise, they become propagandists, and apparently the mainstream are and have been mostly propagandists my entire life and then some.

Unfortunately, as in Orwell’s prophetic “1984,” mainstream media pronouncements default to “all lies,” because they are.

It is the job of the press to keep an eye on the government to prevent the slide into totalitarianism. Instead right now, the press is supporting every drive into a dictatorship it can, in the name of “saving democracy”. Indeed, the press is insuring the descent into communism.

We do not have a press in this country just a duplicate of Russia’s Tass.

The press is as evil as the Biden Mob.

        • C.O.Jones January 7, 2024 at 10:30 am #

Press just prints what they are paid to print. The Biden Mob (corporations) are paying them so we have the dreck they churn out for profit regardless of facts.

Agreed JohnAZ – we are sinking into fascism flavored communism.

“Scientists” find what they are paid to find. If you’ve got the money, you can hire a team of “research scientists” to prove conclusively that water is not wet, fire is not hot.

It’s up to sentient beings to smell the BS…now I just wish I could convince my CNN loving family. Not gonna happen.

Max Blumenthal, Grayzone, said it very well and very succinctly:

The people who report the news today lack two important attributes:

First, many are not very intelligent.

Second, very few are critical thinkers.

My take has been that the people reporting the news prioritize keeping their “contacts” and “access”–because without them, they can’t report the news. Consequently, they try to avoid reports that will embarrass or anger powerful people.

When the vast majority of powerful people hold a certain position, the mainstream media is sure to report it: vaccines are good, the economy is good, Israel is not deliberately killing civilians, and so forth.

But Blumenthal says it better and more succinctly: since most MSM reporters are NOT CRITICAL THINKERS, the parrot the official line.

I’m glad they’re telling the truth about the war in the Ukraine, how the Russian Army is on the verge of mutiny, how the clever Ukranian David is taking out the Russian Goliath’s tanks, how Putin is almost out of time because the economic sanctions have decimated Russia. NOT!

That’s what the US government and the Republicrats want the public to think, but that’s not reality.

They are clever about it. There are few real details. Unlike Vietnam, or even the Iraq, there are very few American reporters covering real action.

Even with the data showing the COVID mRNA shots are bad news, even with people individually connecting the dots and noticing that more of their family/friends/acquaintances seem to have odd or unexpected diseases, including unexpected death, the reporters appear to not be curious enough to investigate this turn of events.

Independent thinkers are few–outside of CFN, of course. JHK is an independent thinker on many issues. Hopefully he can have Max Blumenthal as a guest on one of his podcasts.

“Psychologist Stanley Milgram found that 80% of the population do not have the psychological or moral resources to defy an authority’s order, no matter how illegitimate the order is.

Therefore, only 20% have critical thinking capacity.”

        armstrongeconomics.com/behavioral-economics/stanley-milgram-the-reality-of-society/

I am coming to the conclusion that critical thinking capacity and an open mind equate, and find that you can not reason with people that do not have an open mind.

  29. neurodoc January 5, 2024 at 1:32 pm #

The underlying trend to which JHK alludes will result in 1) lawyers that don’t know anything about the law (making it easier for them to simply follow orders from ‘above’), and 2) doctors who can’t pass a year of real biochemistry and anatomy, but can ‘pass’ an affirmative action version of thereof. These doctors won’t need to have the ability to reason out diagnostic issues and plan treatments; they’ll just follow the directives of big pharma and the Rockefeller ‘health’ care model. Think, your doctor and lawyer as meat robots.

    • Night Owl January 5, 2024 at 2:22 pm #

Many of our current doctors passed their exams and spent the last few years poisoning people around the globe.

I am not sure the education matters as much as you think it does.

      • Blackbird January 5, 2024 at 2:43 pm #

“I am not sure the education matters as much as you think it does.”

I think it does, and I think that is what neurodoc is saying.

Modern day “education” strips the individual of the capacity for reason, and replaces it with a rabid adherence to the Narrative. Gotta pay that mortgage and maintain that social status!

One does not get that stupid (i.e., pushing the Vaxx despite the obvious red flags) without a lot of help.

        • neurodoc January 5, 2024 at 4:01 pm #

Blackbird: You are exactly correct. The trends I mention in medicine are WHY the Cov hysteria and the vaxx hoaxes were allowed to happen BY DOCTORS. Some were simply greedy, some were just scared of losing their stable hospital/clinic salaries and kept their mouths shut, and others, e.g. AAPS doctors tried to speak out to their patients in private, if not in public (in fear of losing med licenses).

The medicine residents I taught until a few years ago, when I retired from academic teaching, were 90% what we, in the 80’s, called PDR docs. They practiced strictly from guidelines from big pharma. PERIOD!! That’s the link between the watering down of medical education and the rising role of Rockefeller/Big pharma guidelines. Any MD that could reason beyond the Rocky/BigPharma mandates (less than ~10% of residents, and less than 30% of full Doctors) questioned the testing, questioned the viral agent, and refused the vaxx). I wont even get into the staggering number of strange deaths among relatively young MDs and PhD immunologists/virologists who, in public, questioned the hoax.

          • neurodoc January 5, 2024 at 4:05 pm #

Blackbirds’ ‘NARRATIVE’ is run by Big pharma which is owned by Rockefeller corporate entities in large part.

        • Night Owl January 5, 2024 at 4:04 pm #

Of course it matters. I was highlighting the point that “educated” types are murdering the masses.

          • neurodoc January 5, 2024 at 4:12 pm #

Many of the ‘educated’ types were simply greedy; many, many others were educated after around the mid 90’s when Big Pharma gained control of medical education AND medical practice via Rockefeller agencies (e.g. the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, LCME, funded in large part by the Rockefeller Foundation, and Big Pharma). The latter group tends to practice by mandates from ‘above.’ By above I mean hospital and clinic medical directors who benefitted financially from the cov/vaxx hoax.

Gee, you mean the term Differential Diagnosis is a thing of the past. The descent of medicine into Nurse Practitioners and Physicians Assistants as the gateway is catastrophic. One you firmly and enthusiastically believe all people are the same, you will have no interest in your nation at all, in a deep sense. Indeed, you will “find yourself” trying to enact diversity or make it happen. Trying to increase the amount of minorities to prove that they are just as good. Putting them in key positions since they are the same. Favoring them over your own kind to show your own virtue. It’s a pseudo religion for many. Plus there’s a lot of money in the dispossession of Whites. You can be both holy and esteemed for being holy, and get rich all the while. You can set out to be good and end up doing well. No contradiction for the ladies and the soft laddies who are like them and who love them.

      ‘It’s a pseudo religion for many. ‘

And delusionality for most. Socially sanctioned delusions are very strongly held and impossible to argue against by the deluded person. For many, the delusion becomes their identity.

“Wondering about who the Harvard Board of Trustees might consider for president of that august outfit once Claudine Gay moves to her new professorship in the graduate program for creative writing?”

Bozo the Clown would be an improvement and a major upgrade in that position. Or – said another way – replacing one over-woke and under-qualified Clown with a much better and actually qualified Clown. And as far as we know, Bozo never plagiarized anything in his life… except perhaps his big red nose. Lots of people probably had that long before he did.

“We could expect President Kendi to double-down on the institution’s commitment to advancing marginalized people at all costs.”

Or as said another way… double-down on the institution’s commitment to advancing incompetent people who like to look arrogant and angry and who seem to not like lighter-skin-toned people one damn bit. A torch-bearer for today’s extremist religion of worshiping the god of Wokeness and erasing all vestiges of merit, fairness, honesty, ethics, and beneficial legacy values. Crazed Woke People who are piloting bulldozers all over America to totally level all things good and decent. Destroyers, not builders. Conflict-sowers, not cooperation mentors. Self-seeking egoists and not those who honestly seek to salvage and build up formerly respected institutions.

“… whether imagining oneself to be a woman is the same as being a woman.”

Sort of like when you’re hungry. You can imagine yourself as being fed. Or, you can actually eat something. Let’s see which of these truly satisfies.

“…if Harvard renewed its Covid vaccine mandate, would Harvard students be intelligent enough to decline the injections?”

‘Intelligence’ is now viewed as racist and not-being ‘Inclusive’ and generally being in just plain bad taste in our Woked Up, Effed Up, Spirit of Insanity of our Times World. Intelligence is not required to get into higher education these days. In fact, having intelligence just about guarantees you won’t even be admitted in… and if by some mistake you are… you will be promptly dispatched out the door while being called all kinds of names you won’t like.

Try being a smart kid in school in these days. Try showing the slightest bit of independence from the Hive Mind. See what the teacher does to you – and then the rabid mob of Woke-ettes that will descent upon you in a New York Second like vultures feasting on a freshly-dead carcass. It is not a pretty picture.

Being smart these days in most life circles is a sure and quick ticket to ruining your life.

It’s sad… it’s pathetic… it’s wrong… and it sucks. But remember. We not only live in Bizarro World. We are living in Bozo’s World. Where Clowns rule. Where when any of us steps out of line… someone will give a fat red nose and muss-up our hair and pull chairs out from under us. And then when you finally cry ‘Uncle’ to make it stop… they will offer you a new high position at Harvard University.

    Intelligence NOT required.

“Simp”? Ouch – that’s a low blow. You could have called me an “apologist” and been more accurate and less insulting. But, no harm. You are entitled to your opinion.

“…a guy that gets pleasure out of abusing people.” I don’t interpret the Stick’s comments that way at all.

I appreciate Q Shtik’s attempts to defend the American-English language. As we all know, language is upstream of culture, and culture is upstream of nationhood, and a nation is something we in the USSA don’t have, but seem to have been on track to developing – until the recent (post-1964) past.

I do think it is unfortunate that the Stick occasionally misses true crimes against language and grammar and instead attacks what are obviously typos. In a way, I think that provides kind of a comic relief to his otherwise didactic persona.

And remember, the Stick is an old timer. Asking old folks to change their ways is like asking a battleship to do donuts in a parking lot.

JAZ is another old battleship. My responses to his comments often appear mean-spirited to me when I re-read them. That is never my intent, but on the other hand, it is so frustrating when an otherwise intelligent person (in my opinion) falls back into a long-used and comfortable rut.

Fortunately for you and I, Owl, I doubt that either of us will have the good fortune to hit 80. We will die with our minds as sharp as a switchblade. Let us use that weapon against those that deserve it.

To leave a response at this stage in this JHK semester borders on the absolute pointless. If collectively we have not gotten the point and realize the growth we have achieved, and with respect to the maker of this twice weekly feast haven’t gotten it through our heads that HE must be tired of beating his knuckles bloody on our behalf and has grown weary of the slog through the miasma of trying to release the Kraken asleep in all of us contrary to our
convenient excuse to carp over things which we know requires action but from the comfort of our anonymity allow someone else to carry the water and weekly express our indignation that nothing changes!
His writing is mothers milk to this scribe but I cannot ignore the weary in his voice and in a “ John the Baptist “ sense say I’ve run the course now it’s up to all of you to get up off your collective asses and impact in some way of your own to affect a change rather than watching reruns of NCIS to come knocking at your door delivering a panacea to your lack of action.
Granted this sounds like a visit to the wood shed or a latter day “ Sermon on the mount “ but I assure you that I’m no more qualified to lay claim to truth than any of the rest of us.

I don’t understand what this means either. Who are you? I don’t get a sense that Mr. K is tired. It seems like he has a reservoir of energy to challenge the current status quo. And he encourages his audience to effective action. Unless of course I simply dwell in some sort of alternative reality? And secondly the comment board is here and is available for us to comment. And so therefore I shall comment. If it is here and I oblige myself to participate why am I the one that is wrong? I think some people just enjoy placing people into their places and dressing people down. If you have carpal tunnel then you need to focus on ergonomics and getting yourself optimally set up.

Death, Or ‘Popo The Prison Power-Bottom’?

            Mayberry? Is that a joke?

In any case, if a cop, your projections aside, in your pen scenario, they might offer you a choice between death or ‘power bottom’… while a local anarchist might manage to save your ass.

Around the world, they are trying to do so in general anyway, so probably best to lend some respect and support, because you never know when you might need one, like inside these prison States.

    Well, ladies and germs;

    Apparently Wayne LaPierre has been booted from his directorship of the NRA;

    https://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2024/01/05/nra-trial-wayne-lapierre-new-york-guns/7381704258137/

Over the years, I donated thousands to the NRA, of which I am a life member since 1969. I might have contributed to several nice silk ties and maybe cuff links for his wardrobe.

…I hope he die…I hope he momma die….

E – during the Hurricane Katrina “response” in NOLA, two things were going on – well, a lot more than two, but as related to 2A – two things.

Private security contractor Blackwater Security (NKA XE) – the first boots-on-the-ground, were going door-to-door, illegally confiscating legally owned weapons from Americans.

      Two things were being observed:

      1) How will Americans react by being disarmed at their front door by thugs dressed in black and armed to the teeth?

      2) Far more importantly, how will all other Americans react – those everywhere else, outside NOLA.

Those being disarmed, had very little choice, and capitulated, handing over their guns.

More importantly, not a fucking peep from anyone else – NRA included! That’s the day I stopped giving money to Mr. LaPierre.

Every year I get the annual call. Every year, I ask the solicitor, “Please have Mr. Lapierre give me a call, explaining why he was silent as law-abiding American citizens were being illegally disarmed after Katrina”.

“Thank you, sir, have a nice day.”

One of the many observations of the Katrina “response” psyop – Americans will give up their weapons, under enough duress and no one else will come to their defense.

The DOJ-DHS-FBI will now operate based on this trial run observation – coming door-to-door, and not expecting much resistance.

For all the big talk, many will capitulate – enough that we may not ever recover. We’ll see. I’m cautiously optimistic – very cautiously, and don’t hold out much hope.

      • stelmosfire January 6, 2024 at 10:37 am #

Ron, how did Blackwater know where the guns were? There is no gun registration in LA. I believe. Even in the communist state I live in guns don’t have to be registered. Sure they might know about stuff purchased at a gun shop with a nics check. Hand those over with a thank you. About the rest of the stuff good luck with that. An extensive search would take hours if not days.

        • Ron Anselmo January 6, 2024 at 12:00 pm #

SEF – simple. All they had to do was go door-to-door.

Consider the conditions. Dark out, no power, streets wet or flooded. No food or water.

Anyone on your property or coming to your door is suspect, or worse. In those conditions, who answers their door unarmed?

“Thank you, sir, we’ll take that weapon for now. We’ll be providing security.”

The goal was not specifically gun confiscation, it was to restore and maintain civil order – gun confiscation was just part of the larger process.

However taken, it’s still egregious, unconstitutional and unacceptable – by me anyway.

          • Ron Anselmo January 6, 2024 at 12:06 pm #

More than answering their doors armed, in those circumstances, it’s generally best to advertise – show and give notice that you’re armed. Twas easy pickin’s for the “authorities”.

      • Paula D January 6, 2024 at 12:31 pm #

          • Ron Anselmo January 6, 2024 at 4:22 pm #

Odd – typing manually brings up 5 hits. Two of which are your postings in JHK’s blog. The others, N/A. (?)

          • stelmosfire January 6, 2024 at 8:12 pm #

Link worked for me. That is some fucked up shit right there. NG armed and willing to shoot their fellow countrymen.

          • Ron Anselmo January 6, 2024 at 11:18 pm #

SEF – that was 2005. Attitudes have changed a little since then – American citizens more at risk. /s

Goes both ways though. DJT authorized 20K NG to be present at the Capitol on J6.

Pelosi – ultimately responsible for security – refused. She was afraid they would honor their oath – defending the Constitution against domestic enemies.

When CW2.0 starts, there will be a military contingent on both sides – as always. There will be winners and there will be losers.

        • Ron Anselmo January 6, 2024 at 4:39 pm #

Mike Ruppert, author of Crossing the Rubicon: The Decline of the American Empire at the End of the Age of Oil, wrote a blog – From the Wilderness.

His coverage and postings on Katrina, were updated hourly at the time. Almost real time coverage of the storm and “response”. If you have an interest and some time, read the archives.

Ruppert was an investigative genius and could digest and present complex information in layman’s terms – not unlike JHK. Mike, due to his background, just made a few more sinister enemies along the way.

He was always a step ahead of them, but they finally got him. His website was where I was introduced to Catherine Austin Fitts, many years ago.

Mike Ruppert has always been a hero in my eyes.

          • The Man They Call Zazelle January 7, 2024 at 10:15 pm #

It was probably a suicide because he seemed long done with what might be considered threatening to TPTB.

Murdering him then would have been way too little too late. He did mention apparent previous attempts. But who knows for sure?

I’ve said this before elsewhere but he seemed to have his heart in the right place, just in the wrong profession and/or surrounding political, as well as personal/psychological contexts.

      • elysianfield January 8, 2024 at 1:58 am #

“How will Americans react by being disarmed at their front door by thugs dressed in black and armed to the teeth?”

        Ron,
If one in every one hundred gun owners resisted, the system would become stressed. I expect that the percentage would be higher than 1%.

Boston University has a long and storied history of handing out fake credentials to unqualified Negroes. The granddaddy of them all, that communist, plagiarist, adulterer, liar, fraud, deviant, and lover of orgies with under age prostitutes, the man with his own federal holiday, received a fake and plagiarized doctorate from Boston University. The “university” acknowledged that his thesis, and many of his other works, were plagiarized, but refused to rescind the doctorate.

Jesse Helms and John East, bravely and courageously, attempted to stall the vote on creating a holiday for that scumbag. They insisted that all of the FBI files and other government documents related to that whole sorry period of Marxist revolution be made public so a legitimate assessment of the man could be made. When that was denied, they set about to interview every then-living FBI agent involved in surveillance of that creep. Much of it was put in congressional record and/or published in Chronicles and Sam Francis columns. Still, the quisling dirtbags, gave that disgrace of a human a federal holiday as a big “fuck you” to middle America.

That low-rent scumbag fraud would be lucky for people to judge him by his skin color and not the content of his character.

In Ct, the Gov is bragging about tremendous job growth in the State. Turns out the job growth is nearly 100% in social service programs, various welfare orgs, diversity facilitators in the schools & colleges, DEI grifters, Do Gooders assisting illegal aliens & people evicted for not paying their rent, & various needle exchange schemes. Every lefty cause from the past 50 years is govt funded and operates with a huge staff of parasites. It’s a bullsh#t economy that produces nothing of value.

There are hardly any real jobs & real businesses any longer. For example, the Main Street in the little Ct town I grew up in had a hardware store, Western Auto, a pharmacy, 2 small grocers, a bank, a few locally owned restaurants, and a barber. It’s all gone, replaced by a Federally connected welfare agency, a State office for paying people’s heating bills, the Board of Ed, and town offices. You still see people on Main Street, but they’re govt Zombies, not real people.

I like RFK’s position on the mRNA vaccines and Big Pharma.

I think he is pretty sincere about the environment.

Like I used to think about Trump, he is rich enough and has the name, so he may not be (or he may) beholden to those who pull the strings.

I think RFK SHOULD be on the ballot.

Would I vote for him? Based on what I know, probably not. Until he clearly explains his “environmental policy positions” (suing companies is one thing–making and enforcing policy is another), I’m inclined to NOT vote for him if he has a chance of winning.

Now you say he’s anti-gun. It makes sense, and since you’re on CFN and seem passionate about the issue, I’m inclined to take your word, until RFK explains.

Still, I’d pick RFK over a Republicrat.

But whether I pick him or not, Americans should have the right to vote for 3rd party candidates, not one variation of the Republicrat Duopoly.

So JHK did well today. Plus, it would have been a chance to meet the man.

  46. TPTB-USA January 6, 2024 at 10:46 am #

Where is representation for the citizens of America? Leadership is AWOL!

On The Great Clarification blog, Zazelle posted details about The Cloward-Piven Strategy. Just considering issues regarding the border, “Joe Biden” has set the US up for failure in numerous regards, and it is not hard to imagine that one failure will trigger a cascade of failures. The same goes for all the other chaos crisis, and it is all just a matter of when.

America basically has a house that is on fire, a stump near the sidewalk, and the population in the street looking on.

The arsonist, just back from St. Croix, steps up on the stump and sternly warns the population that if they elect Trump that he (Trump) will destroy the house, and then heads off to his weekend retreat.

Next up is that guy that is grinning like a dog eating sh*t, telling Bret Baier and the population, in word salad fashion, that the republicans started the fire and there is nothing he can do about it.

Then, one by one, as the fire is spreading throughout the house, the republican presidential candidates step up on the stump and layout in some detail what they plan on doing about the fire IF they are elected president.

I suspect that when Vivek gets his turn on the stump, he will point out that the house is on fire and immediate action needs to be taken. He will instruct the fire department to put it out, and tell congress that the constitution gives them the authority to deal with any obstructionists, and that they have an obligation to take action.

When all is said and done, all the other wannabe leaders will be scratching their heads and wondering: Why didn’t I think of that?

    • JohnAZ January 6, 2024 at 11:06 am #

The Democrats have figured out that youth plus immigration equals Democrat votes. Simple as that.

One thing I believe separates the two is Democrats think long term compared to the GOP. They are Lifers for the most part. The GOP seems to always play catch up to try to offset the Leftist lunacy. Hence, we are at where we are at.

For me, I blame the father-son Bush idiocy for most of the one sidedness we observe today.

      • TPTB-USA January 6, 2024 at 11:33 am #

” The GOP seems to always play catch up to try to offset the Leftist lunacy.” ~ JohnAZ

I suspect that it appears that way for 2 reasons: they don’t want to share a cell with the J-6 crowd (or be subject to the Trump treatment), and as Macgregor pointed out about DeSantis, they are mere puppets waiting for someone to pull their strings.

I think when Vivek gets his turn on the stump, that he is going to cut their strings, and they will either fold, or decide that they need to do their job and represent the population.

I also believe (know) that draft age youth see no point in the wars that are being promoted by the neocons, and potentially a silent majority that will vote for Vivek..

        • Jarek January 6, 2024 at 1:49 pm #

Why not change the population? Vivek wants more Indians. He’s Indian so that’s not strange. Only Whites have a problem with being for themselves.

          • TPTB-USA January 6, 2024 at 4:05 pm #

I am not sure I follow you Jarek.

It appears to me that the majority of White politicians and wannabe’s have no problem with being for themselves, as they serve their donor’s first and the population is merely an afterthought in the event that anything is left over.

As Macgregor puts it, Trump surrounded himself with poor choices, and it remains to be seen if that will change. It is my understanding that he is good buddies with Lindsey Graham.

Why is it that an Indian is the only forward thinker that wants the job? Sure, it could be a WEF set-up, but if we wait for the shift change at the White House, all that will be left to preside over will be the chaos.

Who do you see as leadership material?

Jarek for President? If Trump would be your lap dog, and I’d bet on you guys being able to drain the swamp.

          • Jarek January 6, 2024 at 10:42 pm #

JohnAZ, could it be that the GOP seems to always be playing catch up because they haven’t figured out their authority and procedure?

If “Joe Biden” can test his authority by violating the Take Care Clause, why can’t the House test their authority?

Are the rules such that the GOP has to let the “mother may I” permission run through the courts, where “Joe Biden” can bulldoze his agenda through and the GOP has to let it run through the courts before it is struck down?

If someone is in contempt of congress, there is no recourse if the AG won’t do anything about it? What is to prevent a coup?

Civil War. Did we just witness Ft Sumter 2.0? Or Boston Tea Party 2.0?

There was a massive fire in at a warehouse in Elizabeth NJ yesterday (Jan 05) morning.

Might that be equivalent of the Boston Tea Party?

I would have thought a fire that required 100 firefighters and was “still burning, but contained” 13 hours later would have made it to drudgereport.com or the msn homepage.

    It did not.

I found it on an alternative news site, a foreign “alternative version” of Drudge if you will. They pick up on OTHER news sites, plus some original stuff. They are mostly news, some exaggeration, but they are usually 85-90% accurate, as stories they pick up first usually make it to the general media if they are too big to conceal, or if they are not politically incorrect. (They are a great source for mRNA news which you are NOT going to see on the MSM ever, US or Greek for that matter).

Some examples: the Nordstream pipeline; the war between Armenia and Azerbaijan and ethnic cleansing of Armenians; the Florida Dept of Health warning about mRNA vaccines (it stops short of banning them though): the Israeli plan to expel Palestinians from Gaza (from calcatel.il, an Israeli news site, and hawkish one). So IMO these people have a good track record.

So I googled “fire in NJ”.

The NYC TV stations are on it. “Fire at an old warehouse in Elizabeth”. The NY Times is on it–it has more detail. From the once reputable paper, I learned that the warehouse was once part of a Singer Sewing Machine plant complex, which at its peak was the largest sewing machine center in the world, employing 5,000 people. During BOTH WW1 and WW2, the Singer complex made munitions, including anti-aircraft guns, cannons, and wooden propeller blades.

The NYT reports “one firefighter suffered minor injuries, and three of the attached buildings collapsed, the authorities said, affecting businesses that employed between 1,000 and 2,000 workers. The industrial complex housed companies that produced home goods, clothing, vehicle windshields and kitchen appliances, city officials said.” Also, the authorities encouraged people to keep their windows shut.

    Here is the kicker though:

The pronews.gr article says the warehouse was holding munitions/weapons that were waiting to be shipped to Ukraine. NONE of the American news sources says anything about THAT.

There is a 5-15% the pronews.gr article headline is clickbait.

But many of you, many of us, seem to realize the MSM narrative is controlled.

Maybe that’s why this fire is taking so long to put out–though if it was munitions in an large quantity, I would think there would have been a huge explosion. It’s only a fire. Still, how come the fire is so big and so hard to put out? Why?

So, until proven otherwise, I would bet on the pronews account. And that would comport with many “concerns”: about all the illegals who have entered the US, and how many of them may have agendas that are dangerous, agendas other than getting a job to send money home or getting on welfare.

It also comports with common-sense: when one nation is directly involved in a war against another nation or group, that nation is a potential target.

This is one more reason it’s a good idea to NOT be involved or a participant in war, unless your country’s vital interests are threatened.

(Your COUNTRY. Not the ruling elite or the establishment)

Also, we don’t know what nefarious activities the US government is engaged in vis-a-vis Russia. As the US is fighting a proxy war against Russia, as the US is most likely directly responsible for acts of war against Russia and Russian property, like the Nordstream pipeline and who knows what else, well perhaps this is an act of retaliation… Or a warning.

As I said, maybe I’m wrong. Maybe the article is clickbait. But I don’t think so.

And of course, overlayed on the division in the US between “woke” and “awake”, between the Republicrats and Trump, between the Greens and people who work, we now have the potential of having the Zionists and their supporters go after the Palestinians and their supporters. Every time a Palestinian or Moslem is shot or killed, or a Jew is shot or killed, well, the other side would seem to be prime suspect, don’t you think?

Of course, the US government is 120% on one side, in both the Palestine/Israel and Russia/Ukraine conflicts, but the US public is not quite as firm. And every day, support public support for the US government position is eroding.

Maybe it’s just a fire, and I’m killing some time here. Maybe not.

    We will see.

Or Iranians? They are enraged after the Zionists bombed the memorial of General Solemani. This is the early stages of World War and they are allied with Eurasia against Oceania.

      Regarding the fire in Elizabeth:

In my original post, I go out of my way to state that my original source, pronews.gr is analogous to drudgereport.com (as it USED to be)

Anyone can go there. I’m fluent in Greek. However, if you look at the pictures and open the stories, often there are links to English-language URLs or YouTube clips. There was a link to a podcast of WCBS, Channel 2, NYC, covering the fire.

Most of their content emanates elsewhere.

Their coverage of the war in Ukraine seems much more objective and honest–and Ukrainians are getting slaughtered.

They do like to juice up the content to get clicks. About 5%-15% of the time, there turns out to be (probably, IMO) unfounded exaggeration.

The US sources I watched (WCBS Podcast) and read (NYT article) do NOT mention armaments or munitions currently there. The NYT article (NOT behind a pay wall) mentions there are various businesses.

Now here’s the thing: I just googled “latest on fire in Elizabeth NJ”. It’s got the same stuff it had 10 hours ago. All the stories are “old”.

Really? NOTHING has changed since 11am EST today? OK….

So, is this fire not such a big deal? Perhaps? Or is the fire still contained (literally) and but not out, and the authorities are not saying more, as they try to manage the info to the public. If that is the case, why?

I don’t know. Maybe it’s nothing. But I think it, where there is smoke, there is fire, pun intended.

My first guess, was, and remains, that if there were munitions bound for Ukraine, some one hired by Russians may have started the fire.

But if there were munitions, period, maybe some one hired by Iran.

Maybe Russians hired Iranians outside the US to hire people inside the US….

Maybe it was an electrical fire that smoldered and then was beyond control. The NYT noted “buildings of this era, 1940s, are hard to put out, once large wooden beam catch fire”. Maybe the plastics and asbestos stymie the effort.

I’ll keep an eye on the story and report back tomorrow.

I just think the source of this story is usually credible, and I think there are many elements of interest here: the potential for trained “fighters” or veteran criminals for hire to have breached the border; the potential blowback of US operations.

(ILLEGAL operations, as the Constitution explicitly gave Congress the power to declare war, and Congress has not declared war on anyone, even as the US arms Ukraine to kill Russian, even as the US illegally occupies part of Syria, even as US drones and/or aircraft attack “targets”, even as the US carries out economic war against Iran, and now Russia, via embargo).

If things get dicey, does anyone here not think the Russians are not good hackers? Or that all these smart Chinese, those computer engineers studying in China, as well as the US, while the American kids pursue gender studies, social sciences or business when they’re not following college football or basketball, might wreak havoc here?

Just some food for thought, especially for those here who think ‘Murica needs “take care of” Russia, China, and Iran.

Actions have consequences. Our society pi$$es away over $1 trillion–the waste of the military/industrial complex warfare state dwarfs the waste of suburban sprawl. But it does enrich the right people, it empowers the right Republicrats, and enables them to foist the policies that most of us here seem to vocally oppose.

And that’s why I felt compelled to share the news of the fire in Elizabeth.

    Genocide in Gaza

    JOHN J. MEARSHEIMER
    JAN 4, 2024
I am writing to flag a truly important document that should be widely circulated and read carefully by anyone interested in the ongoing Gaza War.

Specifically, I am referring to the 84-page “application” that South Africa filed with the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on 29 December 2023, accusing Israel of committing genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza.1 It maintains that Israel’s actions since the war began on 7 October 2023 “are intended to bring about the destruction of a substantial part of the Palestinian national, racial and ethnic … group in the Gaza Strip.” (1) That charge fits clearly under the definition of genocide in the Geneva Convention, to which Israel is a signatory.2

The application is a superb description of what Israel is doing in Gaza. It is comprehensive, well-written, well-argued, and thoroughly documented. The application has three main components.

First, it describes in detail the horrors that the IDF has inflicted on the Palestinians since 7 October 2023 and explains why much more death and destruction is in store for them.

Second, the application provides a substantial body of evidence showing that Israeli leaders have genocidal intent toward the Palestinians. (59-69) Indeed, the comments of Israeli leaders – all scrupulously documented – are shocking. One is reminded of how the Nazis talked about dealing with Jews when reading how Israelis in “positions of the highest responsibility” talk about dealing with the Palestinians. (59) In essence, the document argues that Israel’s actions in Gaza, combined with its leaders’ statements of intent, make it clear that Israeli policy is “calculated to bring about the physical destruction of Palestinians in Gaza.” (39)

Third, the document goes to considerable lengths to put the Gaza war in a broader historical context, making it clear that Israel has treated the Palestinians in Gaza like caged animals for many years. It quotes from numerous UN reports detailing Israel’s cruel treatment of the Palestinians. In short, the application makes clear that what the Israelis have done in Gaza since 7 October is a more extreme version of what they were doing well before 7 October.

There is no question that many of the facts described in the South African document have previously been reported in the media. What makes the application so important, however, is that it brings all those facts together in one place and provides an overarching and thoroughly supported description of the Israeli genocide. In other words, it provides the big picture while not neglecting the details.

Unsurprisingly, the Israeli government has labelled the charges a “blood libel” that “has no factual and judicial basis.” Moreover, Israel claims that “South Africa is collaborating with a terror group that calls for the destruction of the state of Israel.”3 A close reading of the document, however, makes it clear that there is no basis for these assertions. In fact, it is hard to see how Israel will be able to defend itself in a rational-legal way when the proceedings begin. After all, brute facts are hard to dispute.

Let me offer a few additional observations regarding the South African charges.

First, the document emphasizes that genocide Is distinct from other war crimes and crimes against humanity, although “there is often a close connection between all such acts.” (1) For example, targeting a civilian population to help win a war – as occurred when Britain and the United States bombed German and Japanese cities in World War II – is a war crime, but not genocide. Britain and the United States were not trying to destroy “a substantial part” of, or all the people in those targeted states. Ethnic cleansing underpinned by selective violence is also a war crime, although it is also not genocide, an action that Omer Bartov, the Israeli-born Holocaust expert, calls “the crime of all crimes.”4

For the record, I believed Israel was guilty of serious war crimes–but not genocide—during the first two months of the war, even though there was growing evidence of what Bartov has called “genocidal intent” on the part of Israeli leaders.5 But it became clear to me after the 24-30 November 2023 truce ended and Israel went back on the offensive, that Israeli leaders were in fact seeking to physically destroy a substantial portion of Gaza’s Palestinian population.

Second, even though the South African application focuses on Israel, it has huge implications for the United States, especially President Biden and his principal lieutenants. Why? Because there is little doubt that the Biden administration is complicitous in Israel’s genocide, which is also a punishable act according to the Genocide Convention. Despite his admission that Israel is engaged in “indiscriminate bombing,” President Biden has also stated that “we’re not going to do a damn thing other than protect Israel. Not a single thing.”6 He has been true to his word, going so far as to bypass Congress twice to quickly get additional armaments to Israel. Leaving aside the legal implications of his behavior, Biden’s name – and America’s name – will be forever associated with what is likely to become one of the textbook cases of attempted genocide.

Third, I never imagined I would see the day when Israel, a country filled with Holocaust survivors and their descendants, would face a serious charge of genocide. Regardless of how this case plays out in the ICJ – and here I am fully aware of the maneuvers that the United States and Israel will employ to avoid a fair trial – in the future Israel will be widely regarded as principally responsible for one of the canonical cases of genocide.

Fourth, the South African document emphasizes that there is no reason to think this genocide is going to end soon, unless the ICJ successfully intervenes. It twice quotes the words of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on 25 December 2023 to drive that point home: “We are not stopping, we are continuing to fight, and we are deepening the fighting in the coming days, and this will be a long battle and it is not close to being over.” (8, 82) Let us hope South Africa and the IJC bring a halt to the fighting, but in the final analysis the power of international courts to coerce countries like Israel and the United States is extremely limited.

Finally, the United States is a liberal democracy that is filled with intellectuals, newspaper editors, policymakers, pundits, and scholars who routinely proclaim their deep commitment to protecting human rights around the world. They tend to be highly vocal when countries commit war crimes, especially if the United States or any of its allies are involved. In the case of Israel’s genocide, however, most of the human rights mavens in the liberal mainstream have said little about Israel’s savage actions in Gaza or the genocidal rhetoric of its leaders. Hopefully, they will explain their disturbing silence at some point. Regardless, history will not be kind to them, as they said hardly a word while their country was complicit in a horrible crime, perpetrated right out in the open for all to see.

Jarek: John knows the reason for the strange silence of the human rights folks. It’s just proof that Bibi is right in his, “We control the United States.” It’s obvious why the Jews are silent: most support it. And the non-Jews fear their jobs and losing the esteem of their Jewish colleagues.

And John, what about the Kalergi Plan or the slow, inexorable genocide of Whites? Are you ever going to talk about that?

@Jarek Thank you for posting Prof. Mearsheimer’s column.

I agree with your closing comments. Most Jews definitely support what the Israeli government is doing.

However, I admire those Jews who have donned “Not in my name” t-shirts and protested and been arrested.

There is a lot at play here. The Israeli Lobby in the US. Israel’s possession of nuclear weapons.

It takes a good writer to string it all together. Mearsheimer does not touch on the Israeli Lobby here (but he co-wrote an excellent book on the topic called “The Israel Lobby” about 15 years ago), but he IS a good writer and thinker, and he said it nicely. If I had his intellect, it would take me double the words to say the same thing.

I’m not familiar with the Kalergi plan. I googled it. Need to learn more, but it seems like another way of explaining the trend toward centralized power and control at the expense of people who work and pay taxes, which I call the New World Order/Globalism/Great Reset

      Thanks again!

        Your last paragraph made me wonder;

Do the WEF and BRICS++ both want serf like mongrel people to serve them in the future? Is the drive to immigrate the surplus people from “Dark” countries an attempt by the global elite to create “a thrifty working class”, Mr. Potter’s description, for the world. Will the global elites just own the mechanism of production?

Folks, that is Soviet style Communism that failed thirty years ago.

        Right now, is it inevitable?

In world history, the regional elites kept control by taxing the peasants to the point of subsistence. That is how all the wonderful edifices in Europe were built.

Feudalism was destroyed by the middle class and its consequent upward mobility. No where better than right here in the USA.

THAT is what the globalists are trying to destroy, the middle class.

It’s a way of wiping our race, and thus our Civilization. You don’t think it matters. You want the scent of Western Culture without the flower, the genetic substrate, the people who created it. It cannot be.

Culture matters too in and of itself. No red bearded or blonde Muslims need apply. You believe only culture matters. Who are the fanatics, you folks or us?

    • JohnAZ January 7, 2024 at 12:46 am #

Okay, I like to look at what would happen if things were in the hands of one or the.other side totally.

You favor the idea that the Israelis are committing genocide against the Gaza inhabitants.

Flip the coin, what exactly would happen if the Israelis just did not fight back against the incursions that happened in October, just let it go. What would happen if all the Iranian proxies united and did drive the Jews into the Med. Would you be as anti-genocide if it were the Jews being eliminated? I doubt it.

And BTW, South Africa, huh? Shades of BRICS showing up.

The Kalergi plan, I looked it up was interesting. Just at about the same time that Hitler was preparing to create the very White.Aryan race , this guy was preparing Europe with the idea that the mongrel race of European African hybridization was what was needed.

Well, as we have seen in the last ten years, the mongrelization is happening and no one seems to want to stop it. The effects of it which we debate here hotly, are going to happen. Western civilization is going to suffer mightily as the track record of the “Dark” part of the hybrid is not good.

Look at what is happening in schools all the way to university, what is happening to the cities, both areas where the “Darkening” has already happened. Terrible results, crime, corruption, etc.

So the USA, Canada and Europe allow themselves to be hybridized. No problems, right?

The Dragon is just licking its Asian chops waiting for the end result of the mongrels to happen as they take over.

      And deservedly so.

If the USA does not give a damn about itself, well so be it.

Does Bibi control the USA or does the USA control BIbi? I believe if he had his way, the Gaza thing would be over already with the Gazans swimming in the Med.

Which war crime is bigger, what the Hamas did unprovoked in October, or what the Israelis did in return?

Your genocide argument is bullshit as is South Africa’s.

They won’t even let them flee to another country.

Not many Whites remaining in SA; I believe they’re down to about 7% of the total population.

Soon they’ll be none, & the ruling party will have to look elsewhere to blame their myriad problems on.

      • Jarek January 7, 2024 at 12:54 pm #

Yes, I agree: It’s absurd. But that’s how people are. There’s no money or moral capital in White lives.

And that’s largely because people like you and BRH won’t STAND against our enemies within.

And the hypocrisy of South Africa doesn’t mean they’re wrong about what’s going on in Gaza. If Mearsheimer says the report is good, it probably is. Others on the ground are saying the same thing as him in any case.

      • Socrates-Detroit January 7, 2024 at 2:45 pm #

Some will say that is ironic that South Africa is the one the nation formally accusing Israel of genocide.

After all, South Africa has many issues, and things there are not so good.

The fact the accuser is far from perfect does not in any way diminish the case South Africa has laid out.

It’s unfortunate that people give Israel a pass, for whatever reason.

The Israeli Lobby has done an excellent job.

Usual dumb ass reporter throwing a line in an attempt to hook Vivek:

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy went off on a reporter Wednesday who asked him if he condemns “white supremacy and white nationalism.”

The 38-year-old biotech entrepreneur schooled the reporter about his position that white supremacy is not to blame. Instead, however, “affirmative action” causes much strife and racial conflict in the country, he explained.

“Of course I condemn any form of vicious racial discrimination in this country. But I think that the presumption of your question is fundamentally based on a falsehood that really is the main form of racial discrimination we see in this country today,” he told the Washington Post reporter during a campaign event in Scott County, Iowa.

“Institutionalized racism is institutionalized racial discrimination that we see that doesn’t come from somehow discriminating against people on the basis of some tentative white supremacy. It’s based on affirmative action. It’s based on actually discriminating against people on the color of their skin in a way that’s actually institutionalized today.”

“I think that it’s, frankly, questions and framings like that, that has caused the American public to lose all trust in the mainstream media,” he went on.

The dumb ass reporter doesn’t quit:

The Washington Post reporter then jumped in, telling the GOP candidate, “You didn’t say that you condemn white supremacy.”

To which, Ramaswamy fired back, “I’m not I’m not gonna recite some catechism for you,” reiterating that he’s “against vicious racial discrimination in this country.”

“I’m not pledging allegiance to your new religion of modern wokeism,” the increasingly agitated White House hopeful went on, accusing the reporter of asking a “stupid question.”

“You want to know what the best way is to end discrimination on the basis of race? Stop discriminating on the basis of race – do that and we’re going to move this country forward,” Ramaswamy argued.

This guy is an arrow aimed straight at the heart of wokeism. Sharper and more articulate than any other candidate in recent memory, and that includes the Obama clan leader, Balack himself.

But he wants two walls, goes beyond Trump:

“There was enough fentanyl that was captured just on the northern border last year to kill three million Americans,” he said. “We’ve got to just skate to where the puck is going, not just where the puck is. Don’t just build the wall, build both walls.”

The grandstanding soars along with his entrepreneurial drive. Would this son of Tamil-speaking Brahmins be good for America (out of NATO)? I think he could be, but he would eclipse Trump, wouldn’t he?

But then, notice his dancing deftness:

DES MOINES, Iowa — Vivek Ramaswamy repeatedly described former President Donald Trump as “wounded” on Wednesday and said he was the best candidate to lead the MAGA movement forward as he makes a final attempt to sway Republican voters still enthusiastic about Trump.

The comments, which Ramaswamy made in a joint interview with NBC News and The Des Moines Register, are part of a complicated balancing act the candidate is trying to strike ahead of the Iowa caucuses: praising Trump and his policies, while suggesting he could push them further or implement them better — and also saying that Trump can’t win the election because of forces lined up against him, leaving Ramaswamy as the best choice for Trump fans.

“They don’t have on me what they have on him,” Ramaswamy said when asked why he would fare better than Trump while running against the same “system.” “You can just look right now. They’ve got four different wars they’ve waged on this man,” he added, referring among other things to Trump’s indictments and the 14th Amendment challenges to his ballot access in some states.”

Ramaswamy, who has pledged to sit out of any primary race in states that are trying to have Trump removed from the ballot, including Maine and Colorado, believes he has “tried my best and gone to the fullest extent I can” to support Trump in his ballot access fight.

“I have deep concerns as an American that this system is going to take him out of contention,” he said, adding, “If we open our eyes to reality, I think that there is an unstoppable force attempting to move what they view as an unmovable object.”

So, he supports Trump but sticks the shiv in between the shoulder blades? But he’s not alone. Trump’s blood is in the water, and the ravenous, ambitious sharks go in for the kill in our deadly, ‘democratic’ waters.

Not enough loyal solidarity. Too many wannabees and too many lame, ambitious pretenders. Praise the Lord, wouldn’t it be great if Trump could trounce them all, make the miracle happen?

Vivek is a “Dark” that actually believes in the American Dream, that anyone can succeed here with talent and hard work. There is a minority of dark skinned folks who believe in the Dream and have succeeded.

Like Trump, the Democratization and consequent uniparty creation has allowed way too many people into our country that do not believe in hard work and have little to offer in talent. They, like in their own country of origin, believe the government is there to take care of them.

The US changed for me after 9/11. Even more critical sectors of American society still seem to have no interest in what happend that day or just how far we have fallen.

Trump didn’t do enough to try and stop the influx? Yeah, “it’s always darkest before the dawn” will be changed to “it’ll get darker and darker with the black man’s spawn.”

Compare Vivek to Charles Payne. Payne advises investors in “Unstoppable Prosperity” to look inside a company, look at charts, and don’t make rash decisions. Genius galore.

His new book is “Unbreakable Investor”, the same old hawker hustle.

Vivek has a more sophisticated hustle, getting about a $100 million from investors and hedge funds to set up Roivant. He’s ‘self-made’, unlike Trump.

Look up Axovant, the Alzheimer’s drug interpirdine, Soft Bank, how Vivek made his money.

Yes, a ‘Dark’ who played the US financial system like a Vivek violin.

Yeah, too late. Not sure I trust a hedge fund hustler anyway.

Eventually, no matter where our ancestors came from, some of us realize that the work we’re doing is not for us and/or is for the plutarchy and/or is slavery– that kind of thing– and where ‘hard work’ is really just an echo of ideological indoctrination for tax-/profit-skimming by said plutarchy.

Then society declines/collapses and we all pick our own fruit again from the trees of Eden & relative anarchy and allow our aged to die with dignity rather than, say, keeping them plugged into an AI robot spoon-feeder-cum-ass-wiper.

      • Anthea January 8, 2024 at 3:16 pm #

I think the real issue is to define exactly what is meant by “white supremacy.” Since I’ve never seen this concept defined, I turned to Wikipedia, which says, “White supremacy is the belief that white people are superior to those of other races and thus should dominate them. The belief favors the maintenance and defense of any power and privilege held by white people….As a political ideology, it imposes and maintains cultural, social, political, historical or institutional domination by white people and non-white supporters.”

There may very well be a general belief among white people that they are superior to those of other races. In fact, it’s hard to see how it could be otherwise, since this is manifestly true in relation to some (but not all) other races, in terms of both culture and accomplishments. In actual practice, the only other race that whites (probably) believe they are superior to is blacks. I.e., there appears to be no accusation of “white supremacy” on the part of the Chinese or Japanese or other Asians–or, really, anyone other than blacks. Heck, the Chinese and Japanese believe they are superior to other races, including whites.

The whole concept of “white privilege” exists only vis-a-vis blacks.

Now, re the complaint that white supremacy, “favors the maintenance and defense of any power and privilege held by white people,” I’d like an enumeration of what, exactly, these “powers and privileges” are.

According to The Smithsonian Institute’s National Museum of African American History, the “whiteness” that confers such “powers and privileges” and that disadvantages blacks, consists of things like, “Individualism, hard work, objectivity, the nuclear family, progress, respect for authority, delayed gratification, more.” Some of the other things listed are: planning for the future, following “rigid” time schedules, correct English, written language, and good manners. Whites, notably, tend to believe in the Rule of Law (as opposed to the Rule of Men).

Um…. These are not “powers and privileges.” This is the necessary framework for productivity and prosperity and a stable society–the very basis for a decent and dignified life. Sheesh!

Apparently the black point of view is that the existence of the minimal standards of civilization is an institutionalized and cruel imposition. They’re oppressed by being expected to read, write, cipher, obey the law, show up for work (on time), do your job, and treat others respectfully and courteously.

So apparently these “institutions of white domination” that enforce “white supremacy” are nothing more than a handful of minimal standards–attainable for everyone but blacks.

    • The Man They Call Zazelle January 7, 2024 at 6:49 am #

Oh yes, almost forgot; Ramaswamy is another Obama. He came out of nowhere and has this ‘ideal quality’ for that cultural thing that might sit well with all those new immigrants.

My prediction: He’s the next president or at least VP and maybe president later.

While some of your comments have merit, the article in itself seems slightly one-sided and offensive to those who call the town home. I am just curious what you are putting into the community? I can see that you made a garden in your back yard, but why not make a community garden for the town to share? Hopefully, after living in Greenwich and seeing a town that is hurt, you are putting substantial capital and development in the area. “Criticism is Step One to giving back. You can’t improve a situation unless problems are identified to be avoided in the future.

I have been reviewing the historic resources inventory of my city, done some 30 years ago. It’s remarkable how much damage has been done in that time: fully 28 percent of the historic buildings have been demolished and another 25 percent have been remodeled to the point that they are no longer recognizable.

These photos illustrate a city in a better period in its recent past. The mistakes that have been made since have badly degraded the quality of life. Defending those mistakes neither fixes them nor prevents them from happening again–it’s more excuses. We need to acknowledge the problems and chart a better course.”

“First things first, I just wanted to say that this article is a bit insulting to those of us who call this town home and especially to those of us who grew up there.

You made some decent points, but most of it just sounded like you were ragging on our town for being what it is. The part that gets me most is that you don’t talk about any of the good locations we have in town. You say you live in Greenwich now, so certainly you must know Greenwich has some beautiful scenery and very nice areas to offer. Why did you choose to straight up bash the town with your article? What do you have against Greenwich? And lastly, if you don’t like it, I hope that you just leave and go back to whatever smug town you came from, maybe somewhere that has a little more ‘decorative decorum’ for your tastes.

We love our town how it is. Those small business’ on Main St. and those rundown factories are a part of our history. Most of us grew up with them around and it was a big part of our lives, aesthetically. It may seem like an eye sore to an out of towner like you, but to us, this is what we call ‘Home’.

Go find another town if you don’t like it, because I have news for you buddy, Greenwich is just ‘A small town on a Saturday night’, and we will stay that way until we are swallowed whole by something bigger than you, me, or any of us.

Since most of us are not trained to think in what I call Long Time Outlook, the peak oil threat is very hard to understand. I came to terms with Peak Oil in the 1960’s. I am worried for the people born after the 1970’s. Those of us before that MAY miss the fall into savage lawlessness. Compared to my outlook JHK is very upbeat and positive. There is a real language issue here, I think. Those of us who admire the architecture and resources available in the small towns built in the 18th and 19th centuries read admiration for the existing infrastructure and grief and sorrow that they are not being utilized to their fullest. Those who are living the current American lifestyle in town read contempt and scorn for their very real struggles to live and raise a family. Is it possible to bridge the gap in the same blog entry? I think Mr. Kunstler believes that strong community ties to the area in which one lives are the only way to survive and thrive in the coming years. So, how to do that, and support the community in positive ways, as one poster suggests above?”

I took no offense at Putnam’s trenchant account of Port Clinton’s decline. Rather, Putnam’s article is an opportunity for us to take account of what is happening to small towns all across America. If we who grew up, and still live, in small towns recognize and care about what is happening to small towns in America, we have a chance to better our living environment.

Kunstler should be thanked for taking a unbiased look at his community. It is obvious that he loves his community, and his words resonate with all of us who love our small towns.”

Many can’t handle criticism and simply accept their lives as is.. And they remain in a state of depression both financially and mentally. The folks deriding JHKs assessment of their “home” are deniers and folks vested in the demise of their towns that cannot handle someone pointing out what has happened and what must happen in the future to stop the decline in the quality of life and co-existent economies of the towns.

Small town USA is a victim of the macroeconomic policies of the federalists, ie the Deep State. They want big cities which are easy for them to control. The White Supremacy small towns, the fly overs, are an impediment to the master plan to mongrelize America.

People who cannot handle this truth need to come up with some of their own answers to the decline of their towns and quit clinging to their pasts. Oops. Cannot do that, “I remember when——“

      • JohnAZ January 7, 2024 at 10:44 am #

I remember JHKs chapter on entropy where he brought up the danger of the “Too big to fail” economy. That is what we are seeing happening to small town America. Bring in Walmart, destroy the local Main Street economy, let everyone move out to the nearest big city in order to survive. Over and over and over.

        And over and over.

Small town USA is NOT a movie on LMN or Hallmark. The fantasies of these just add onto the deniers. Towns do not exist based on Christmas festivals.

          @ JohnAZ:

Small-town America was prosperous in many areas in 1900-1910, and probably for quite awhile beyond that time. You can see this by looking at the old Sanborn fire insurance maps for 1900 and 1910. (I’ve mentioned these before, here.) Little towns with a population of 2,000 or fewer had bustling little business districts and enjoyed many amenities. This was mainly because they had prosperous agricultural economies made up of small family farmers. Farm families–which probably often owned small businesses in town–could afford to go into town and buy clothing, yard goods, dry goods, farm implements, housewares, furniture, and wall art–and even have their pictures taken by the local photographer and attend the town “opera.”

One of the main drivers of destruction of rural economies was the destruction of the small family farm. This was followed by an increasingly centralized economy, which decimated small businesses. My recollection is that this began in the 1960s, with the opening of the big grocery chains and shopping malls.

I was just reading through some anti-Trump articles where the media in Iowa are trying to crucify him with all kinds of propaganda crap.

I realized that the media is attacking Trump constantly, but some of the content is a thinly veiled slap in the face of the real target:

Us. Trump is a full fledged populist movement. Read the BS from the Leftist media, they belittle the people constantly also. The people cannot choose who run the country, we should do that. The people are too stupid to elect the government, us Lefties, the Uniparty should decide who runs the country.

IMHO, if the Demoncrats maintain control in DC this fall, the media may be right. The people of the US may no longer deserve the God given rights the Constitution and Bill of Rights gave them 230 years ago.

It would follow history, unfortunately, Most republics, populist run governments, are voted out of existence by their populations, buying the bullshit of politicians promising them security and easy street times. It never, ever works. You cannot build a legitimate system based on the lies of politicians.

That is why the American Revolution was fought and the founders created the basis for the republic. Control the antics of politicians with balance of power control.

    • SoftStarLight January 7, 2024 at 2:42 pm #

I don’t think they are thinly veiled slaps though? They are very much in your face about things these days. Unless the widespread fraud in elections is addressed then it really doesn’t matter. Maybe Austin is taking advantage of the Gender Reassignment Surgery initiative the US Armed Forces is offering to its members. It was Austin himself that stated Tranny soldiers — living their best life — were an important aspect of National Defense. I’ve have read those kinds of operation are not without risk. Not too worry tho, he’s most likely at Walter Reed, which has one of the best Gender Affirming Departments in the world. Nothing but the best for our boys … err girls.

Nothing says, “silly” quite like barricading 10,000 Americans into a kill-zone of an approaching inferno and then immediately hiding and destroying all of the evidence, eh Gus?

To even think that perhaps FBI grad, Vegas Turkey Shoot incident commander [whatever the flip that is!], Maui Police Chief/Coroner John Pelletier is obviously guilty is “silly … because otherwise my little brain would snap.”

“Our government is comprised of loveable, incompetent knuckleheads and to think that they might actually intentionally kill some of us to further their drunk-on-power evil agenda is silly.”

“In fact, I’ve twice been caught red-handed lying to this board in my seemingly inexplicable efforts to cover for crimes committed on 8/8 and to cling to my psychological blanky that they are merely completely incompetent yet mean us no physical harm.”

    ***
    A quick Google yielded:

Maui Wildfires Victims: What We Know So Far.

The source is the New York Times.

The date of the article is Nov. 14, 2023!

That’s the top-of-the-pile “news” according to Google.

“Nothing to see here, folks. Move it along.”

    ***
I’m sure that we all agree that FBI grad, Vegas Turkey Shoot incident commander [whatever the flip that is!], Maui Police Chief/Coroner John Pelletier’s barricades did far more harm than good. Of that, there is no doubt. Right?

Us “tin-foils” want investigations into this horrific top-level … error (at best). [At least two eyewitnesses claim that two different Maui cops (at different locations) told them that they were “following orders.” Their orders were to barricade Lahaina’s citizens into a gridlock traffic jam as the inferno approached and they were all trying to escape for their very lives at once.]

“Tin-foils” want the people responsible held accountable for their massive fuck-up (at best). Accountability or, at the very least, their lame-ass defence for their, at best, massive fuck up. “Tin-foils” want truth and justice.

“Blankies,” on the other hand, pay Lahaina less attention than do the NYT or Google. “Blankies” are “snug as a bug in a rug ha ha.” “Blankies,” were almost 100% jabbed. In fact, several “blankies” are still getting jabbed today! “Blankies” will proudly march right into the slaughterhouse.

    Sad but true.

We are all living a “LIE” in the USA. On a day-to-day basis we continue to listen to lies from the media, top government officials, and it doesn’t seem to bother many. Their attitude is this shall pass, and things will get back to normal.
I spoke with a friend of mine a couple of nights ago. He had just finished watching the evening news. Although he told me that he voted for TRUMP, he’s starting to buy into ORANGE MAN BAD. I asked him if he believed everything that is said on the 6 o’clock news. He didn’t say no.
He then said that he had to get off the phone because he was going to watch the Steeler game.
He’s retired ARMY. The media is doing a hell of a job promoting the big lie.
I guess when things really go to hell in this country, all those who work for ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. will all be millionaires. We are all in for a rude awakening.
Be ready to show your papers or have your chip scanned.

    • SoftStarLight January 7, 2024 at 2:22 pm #

There was probably never any real hope for someone who religiously watches the 6 o’clock news, right. I mean that has been pure propaganda from its inception. You already have to show your papers everywhere you go. If you are actually a citizen. And if you have a debit card or credit card or use QR codes and so forth your chips are getting scanned. I don’t believe anything and I don’t think anything normal is coming back. But yeah. a lot of people are extraordinarily dumb and honestly i’m tired of it.

Progressive anti-gun laws stymied yet again.
That darn Constitution keeps getting in their way.
Hey Gavin Newsome and the communist California legislature…Fuck you.

A recent California legislation that prevents people from carrying firearms in the majority of public places was once again obstructed from taking effect as a court case contesting it continues.

On Saturday, a 9th Circuit Court of Appeals panel abolished a temporary hold on a lower court injunction which blocks the legislation.

In mid-December, a United States District judge temporarily blocked the California law that was supposed to go into effect on January 1st.

Then, on December 30th, a federal appeals court overturned the district judge’s decision, allowing the law to take effect on New Year’s Day while the legal battle raged on.

However, on Saturday, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit lifted the stay and reinstated the district judge’s decision to halt the legislation.

The law, which was signed by California Governor Gavin Newsom in September, forbids people from carrying a concealed weapon in 26 locations, such as zoos, churches, playgrounds, and public parks.

Regardless of whether the person is in possession of a concealed weapon permit, the ban is in effect. Privately owned companies that post signs indicating that firearms are permitted on their property are one exception.

On Saturday evening, Daniel Villaseñor, who is a spokesperson for Governor Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.), made a statement regarding the law.

“The ruling is a dangerous decision that puts the lives of Californians on the line. We won’t stop working to defend our decades of progress on gun safety in our state,” Villaseñor said.

In April, the 9th Circuit panel will be hearing arguments regarding the case.

The law was challenged in court by the California Rifle and Pistol Association. A preliminary injunction was granted to block it on December 20th by the United States District Judge Cormac Carney, who stated that the law was “sweeping, repugnant to the Second Amendment, and openly defiant of the Supreme Court.”

Carney additionally stated that firearms rights organizations are likely to succeed in determining it as unconstitutional, which would mean that it would be permanently overturned.

In response to the United States Supreme Court’s ruling in New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen, which sent several states struggling to enact their own laws, the law altered California’s concealed carry permit regulations.

According to that ruling, the test for determining whether gun laws are constitutional should be whether they are “consistent with the nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation.”

The California Pistol and Rifle Association’s president, Chuck Michel, said in an earlier statement before Saturday’s ruling that under the law, “gun permit holders wouldn’t be able to drive across town without passing through a prohibited area and breaking the law.”

The Kiev regime this year forced Ukrainians under their control to celebrate Christmas along with the Vatican and the rest of the west, instead of on Jan. 7th, the day they are supposed to celebrate.

That’s bad enough, but check out this video Ukrainian state TV released on Orthodox Christmas Eve.

Pompeo was instrumental in setting up a renegade Orthodox church in Ukraine, aligned with the Catholic church.

The Kiev regime has been persecuting the Ukrainian Orthodox practitioners and raiding and stealing their property.

They sent some of the loot west, including to the Vatican. You know, for “safe keeping”.

Sounds like the Fourth Crusade, redux, to me.

Or you don’t know about the Fourth Crusade and the sacking of Constantinople?

  68. BULLITT January 7, 2024 at 9:26 pm #

For those of you that are concentrating on some guy’s wife here, move over to the GatewayPundit.com where they are discussing Sec of Defense Austin and the possibility of a gerbil in his butt!
    Is it Monday yet?
With luck JHK will discuss the Secretary of Defense in the morning.

Well, folks, I’m sure you’ll be disappointed but I’ve decided to bow out of this insane asylum. I need to move on with productive work and family concerns. The cycle will repeat tomorrow w JHK probably leading things off w that great wordsmith, the tangerine twatwaffle, and the usual feeding frenzy of paranoia, conspiracy theories, racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, will quickly ensue. Many of you people need to get a life of reason, contemplation and purpose. You’re constant monitoring (I’ve been guilty!) of this site is disturbing and isn’t doing a thing for your mental health or life in general. Go outside and soak up some sunshine and be thankful you’re alive. 99% of everything that has ever lived has gone extinct—think about that.

“. Go outside and soak up some sunshine and be thankful you’re alive. 99% of everything that has ever lived has gone extinct—think about that.”

      Rabbit,
The one percent still alive will die also…and DOG is GOD spelled backwards.

      Makes you kinda think….

It’s like a lot of different people are trying to tell you what to do this evening. Don’t listen to them. You need to enjoy your evening. I often times wonder why someone from Halifax, Nova Scotia would feel comfortable discussing in detail the role of government in life. It dawns on me that perhaps they feel a deep historical guilt for the role their government played in the displacement of peoples. Do you remember what the expulsion from Nova Scotia was like? Or what it was like to regroup your life in a swamp? I thought as much. Your full repentance requires an essay on this historical event and its importance in the cultural life of North America. Thank you.

If there was a rift in the multiverse and you happened to meet your doppleganger what would your reaction be?

    • Ron Anselmo January 7, 2024 at 11:42 pm #

Well, my New Year’s resolution was to quit lying.

Before I went to bed last night, I looked in the mirror, and said there’s no possible way I could get better looking. Woke up this morning and looked in the mirror. I lied.

So, if I saw my doppelganger, I’d probably be stricken by how handsome he was.

I know, I know, I’m working on my modesty – that’s next year.

      • The Man They Call Zazelle January 8, 2024 at 12:13 am #

Hits Ron, while he’s looking in the mirror, in back of head with a jet of water from a kid’s high-powered water pistol.

      Ecosoohia

Hey sis’, I’ve already met mine…

He came in where we worked one day and asked a question or more. I turned to my colleague and asked something like, “Hey, doesn’t he look quite a bit like me?”? And my colleague looked at him and then at me and said something like, “As a matter of fact, why yes, yes he does.”.
At which point I chuckled and said, “We’re taking over.”. Then we helped my doppleganger out with what he came in for.

Many might be dopplegangers or close on CFN because JHK looks the way he does. No real surprise there if so.

In social psychology, it might be called something like ‘the matching principle’, although perhaps they changed the term.

If you want to comment-section-shmooz with those who look more like JHK or say, Leonardo Di Caprio– smallish/bedroom eyes, wider/more square/round faces, etc., maybe try Ecosophia.

The more doppelgangers, especially locally, the better. There’s plausible deniability.

“It wasn’t me, I was at church”, can now be expanded to, “It wasn’t me – might have looked like me – but I was at church”.

        • The Man They Call Zazelle January 8, 2024 at 12:21 am #

You’d have to dress the same to pull it off too. How’s your taste in clothes, handsome?

          • Ron Anselmo January 8, 2024 at 12:39 am #

Jeans & a T-shirt, Zazzy. Sometimes for Halloween, I grow sideburns and go out as James Dean. That look.

I’m having trouble trying to visualize it… how about a link to some pics.

      • SoftStarLight January 8, 2024 at 12:56 am #

What a strange direction this has taken. How very interesting.

        • The Man They Call Zazelle January 8, 2024 at 1:30 am #

          Oh ya?
Well we’re all the same species, SSL, all related.
We haven’t yet diverged significantly enough to be truly separate, alas for our half-brother Jarek.

Dopplegangers and thereabouts are in a way just the brothers and sisters we never had.

Actually, if you look at genetics, you might find that we come in ‘packages’ so to speak– I forget the proper/scientific term– and so our ‘dopplegangers’ can disappear, but then reappear much later, and then disappear again and so on over the generations.

          • SoftStarLight January 8, 2024 at 1:44 am #

Not to speak of the fact that genes have memories and convey ancient experiences and intuition.

          • The Man They Call Zazelle January 8, 2024 at 2:03 am #

Genetic memory, sure, like birds knowing how to build nests maybe or having an affinity for something you never experienced but that a long-gone relative you never knew did. And maybe you don’t know why.

        • The Man They Call Zazelle January 8, 2024 at 1:39 am #

I think it might be called, phenotype, but I’m unsure.

Interestingly, I don’t feel like I’m either of my parents’ ‘phenotype’ (or whatever that might be called), at least fundamentally.

I looked into this long ago so it’s foggy, so don’t quote me on this, but from what was recalled, we can actually be the result of both our parents’ recessive genes or something like that, where we are kind of not like either parent, even though we carry both of their genes.

Their genes are simply not expressed in this/my generation. I have some characteristics of my parents of course but they seem superficial and/or limited. IOW perhaps, there seems to be something fundamental in my makeup or pheno’ that is not reflected in either of my parents.

Interestingly again I used to get along very well and seemed to have a natural affinity, if that’s the right word, with an aunt who also seemed kind of different from some immediate members of the family.

          • SoftStarLight January 8, 2024 at 1:50 am #

Yeah I kinda know what you mean. Like that feeling you get when you feel way more related to like distant cousins than your immediate family.

          • The Man They Call Zazelle January 8, 2024 at 2:01 am #

Yep, and even people completely outside of your family.

          • Anthea January 8, 2024 at 4:18 pm #

One of the biggest surprises about having kids is that they are not at all like you–or either parent. It’s like they fell out of the sky or something.

My youngest daughter has very dark hair, very pale skin, green eyes, and freckles. I know of no one on either side of the family with either green eyes or freckles.

Every now and then, someone in the family turns up with a somewhat Asian appearance–dispite our supposedly 100% European lineage. (People used to ask me if my sister was part Chinese.) I have one daughter and one granddaughter with that look.

There is also a very distinct “cannot be socialized” gene that appears now and then.

      Rift in the multiverse, SSL?

Reminds me of the passage where Don Juan warns Carlos that if, during an out-of-body experience, he should come across his sleeping self, waking up that sleeping self would result in his immediate death.

We are really very fragile critters (as I was reminded many times during my road racing career, when guys much quicker and braver then me got turned into mincemeat by Armco barriers, trees and stone walls).

      • SoftStarLight January 8, 2024 at 1:34 am #

Maybe that is the answer, Speedy. Maybe we simply aren’t meant to know or see such things because we wouldn’t be capable of understanding them or acting properly in the given circumstances. It makes one wonder though.

      • The Man They Call Zazelle January 8, 2024 at 1:48 am #

Yes, that might have been me in another universe. I almost raced my RD350 and my counterpart in some other universe may have done just that and has become mincemeat.

Maybe that’s what happens: We as conscious entities are essentially information that gets recycled maybe in funny ways back into other universe iterations and we get to experience other people or even creatures in other times and places. Maybe we are people in our history who got tortured to death or animals who spent their entire lives in labs to get vivisected.

Wondering not unnaturally whether some of those Wehrmacht SS worthies killed in battle did not reincarnate as … Israelis…

Attraction through attachment: hate as strong as love.

My ex husband often lamented that he had missed WWII, which he referred to as “the circus of the century,” by being born in 1947.

I had to correct him on that. He was a German aviator who was shot down and consequently died during WWII. I don’t know how I know that. I’m not even sure I do know it. But he was quite attached to that era in history.

  73. SoftStarLight January 8, 2024 at 1:26 am #

I was thinking of it in a little bit of a different way. Maybe doppleganger is not the right term for the phenomenon. Maybe more like just a copy of yourself living in an alternate universe. Like that copy you discover lives a much better life than you do. So. Do you try to dispose of the copy so you can occupy their perfect life? Would it even work if you tried? So many questions. Fortunately it seems like most people have not happened upon a fissure in the space time continuum where all these alternate universes intersect so that someone could meet infinite copies of themselves all living in infinitely different realities.

    • The Man They Call Zazelle January 8, 2024 at 1:57 am #

What kind of chick talks like this? 😉

Seriously though, perhaps some things are not meant to be except in our imaginations.

As for ‘better lives’, maybe the universe wants/needs to experience all lives. Maybe that is its whole point; pain, loneliness, anguish, frustration, passion, love, brutality, difficulty, wonder, cruelty, pain, happiness, pleasure, confusion, amazement…

      • elysianfield January 8, 2024 at 2:22 am #

…don’t forget disillusionment, anarchist with a small “a”.

      • Ron Anselmo January 8, 2024 at 2:53 am #

Zazzy – a dreamy chick talks like this – that’s how she got her nickname. Dreamy is the highest form of compliment – just so you know.

Look around – nothing you see wasn’t once imagined. Imagination – where everything starts. Nothing stays there forever; it just awaits actualization. Sometimes lifetimes.

“…maybe the universe wants/needs to experience all lives. Maybe that is its whole point; pain, loneliness, anguish, frustration, passion, love, brutality, difficulty, wonder, cruelty, pain, happiness, pleasure, confusion, amazement…” ~ The Man They Call Zazelle

This is so close…substitute “emotions” for “lives”…just my two cents, and that’s all it’s worth.
