“Worse is better,” V. Lenin used to explain to his Bolshevik cohorts in their vicious pursuit of power. And is there any question now that this is the same operational formula of the shadowy crew behind “Joe Biden” in its mission to turn the American Republic into a branch-office of the Schwabenklausian trans-human techno-tyranny?

“Joe B” is doing his part to personally make things worse by taking Paxlovid, the Pfizer wonder drug that wondrously amps up Covid-19 symptoms and extends the course of the illness — as recently admitted by that other eminent, double-boosted Covid-19 sufferer, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the sage of US public health. If White House doctors follow the CDC’s treatment protocol they’ll soon put “JB” on remdesivir. Naturally, it kills him. State funeral… boo hoo… “46” is entombed under the Wilmington Amtrak station….

My political fantasy du jour: Thus, Kamala accedes to greatness! She must then appoint a new vice-president. That would be… wait for it… California governor Gavin Newsom — who else? (He was recently captured on video skulking into a back door of the West Wing while “Joe Biden” was out-of-town schmoozing up the honchos of Saudi Arabia.) Gov. Newsom is easily confirmed in the House and narrowly in the Senate when Mitt Romney and Lisa Murkowski vote with the Party of Chaos. Kamala soon resigns, citing “anxiety problems.” Now president, Mr. Newsom proceeds to accelerate the wrecking of the old USA along the lines of his recent work in California. All D.C. gas stations are ordered shut to promote the transition to renewables. The D.C. Mall is declared the National Homeless Camp….

I called it a fantasy, but this may be their only move left as the nation utterly loses its patience with the “Joe Biden” fiasco and the escalating disorders of Western Civ take us into August. The mid-term election must be revamped at all costs, they’ll say, “to save our democracy.” A new pandemic is declared in early October, complete with lockdowns, while Google partners with Facebook to roll out a new vote-by-phone app. By some miracle, then, the Democrats add thirty more seats to their house majority and five in the Senate. We enter the new frontier of the Green New Deal and Build Back Better. In other words, the USA completely collapses.

A dark scenario, I confess, but doesn’t that seem exactly where things are going? An epic crackup is upon us. Every place in the world is primed for meltdown, and a few lands in the periphery are already sinking. Sri Lanka is broke and out of gas after being set up as a WEF / Schwabenklaus low-carbon eco-state experiment. Panama is in revolt over extreme government corruption, food scarcity, and the after-effects of an especially severe two-year-long Covid lockdown that the rest of the world hardly heard about — perhaps because China has operational control over the vital Panama Canal and the CCP has operational control over the World Health Organization, which set up Panama as a lockdown lab project.

Of course, Europe is suddenly a magnificent mess with governments falling like duck pins, industry shuttered from lack of fuel, and citizens rising up against insane WEF diktats to drastically reduce livestock and shut down farming — in effect declaring food production an unacceptable environmental hazard. This, of course, after the governments of Euroland cut their own throats by self-sanctioning themselves out of Russian oil and natgas. It’s especially bizarre in Germany, the largest economy of the region, which had just this year conclusively realized and admitted that its “green energy” policy was a complete bust, forcing them to shut down major wind turbine installations and resort to producing electricity with coal. The governments of Merkel, and then Olaf Scholz, reveal themselves as the sheerest hypocritical idiots.

And now, the ground is even shifting under the CCP as China’s extravagant matrix of city-building, mortgage debt, and banking fraud rattles its financial system. What a surprise! Potent as it has been in bribing politicians around the world, infiltrating governments and cultural institutions in every land, and getting the news media to do their bidding, the CCP is apparently losing its grip on the Chinese people, who are sick of being locked down, tracked, and swindled. The tanks are out. This is not the same movie as Tiananmen Square, 1989. This is the CCP bankruptcy, an epic event that will thunder through “the global south,” sending Africa into famine and chaos and South America into yet another rotation of elites.

Pretty soon, it’s going to be every country for itself in this main event of the fourth turning (a.k.a. the long emergency). Global unity is a mirage, along with all the preposterous narratives of a world government. And in every country for itself, it’s going to be every community, every family, every person for itself until, emergently and painfully, everyday life can be reorganized from the ground up. People, get Ready.

Feels like you’re right and it’s finally upon us. We don’t come out of the midterms with Krusty the Clown still in power. Things are changing bigly. Good. We can’t start rebuilding until it burns to the ground. Let’s get on with it.

“If White House doctors follow the CDC’s treatment protocol they’ll soon put “JB” on remdesivir.”

New drugs [ for those who decline remdesivir ] have 5 blackbox warnings:

but hospitals still getting 20% bonus for giving the jabs.

Insightful and outstanding take on things!

I’m waiting to see how and what they do to tamper with the US mid-terms.

But even if they are not tampered with, the outcome is TBD.

And the Republican leadership is all-in perpetuating the war in the Ukraine, and all the spending that entails.

Still, the Republican might reverse the energy policies of Biden–but reversal today does not translate to results tomorrow. In the long-term, it would. Probably too far in the future, too little, too late. But better than continuing the same failed policies.

Also in today’s “supply-chain constrained” dysfunctional world, that me be even further in the future.

      • shotho July 22, 2022 at 12:07 pm #

Agreed, Socrates, I can’t imagine it makes any difference which party wins control of Congress in November. As our host says, best get ready for reorganization on a very basic level.

    • MaryQueen July 22, 2022 at 9:02 pm #

Covid is a hoax so those that claim to have it are either deluded, lying, or sick from something else.

The PCR test doesn’t work so when billions test positive, it’s just bullshit.

So when the put out in the media that anyone in power has Covid, it’s being used for a reason. My guess aligns more with our host’s, that it’s the best/easiest way to possibly dispose of “Biden”.

  3. John K July 22, 2022 at 9:43 am #

“until, emergently and painfully, everyday life can be reorganized from the ground up.”

Which will never happen so long as the criminals who handed us this shit sandwich still have their jobs. Justice delivered in large helpings must happen first.

    • Beryl of Oyl July 22, 2022 at 10:51 am #

I think all the elected officials who gleefully took part in ordering people around because someone told them they could, have to go too.

They are disqualified from holding any public office due to their totalitarian commie actions.

President Trump too. Yes, he was set up with that task force, but the president’s job is to preside, and he did a terrible job presiding because he allowed Pence to make a dog’s breakfast of it, and that’s putting it mildly.

      • C.O.Jones July 22, 2022 at 11:39 am #

I agree 100% Beryl and especially Trump must be held accountable. The fact that orange man got impeached over asking Ukraine to look into Biden’s blackmailing is just surreal but does not exonerate orange man. Putting your daughter in charge while you wallow in your Twitter addiction is not acceptable. He’s not even bright enough to feel stupid when Musk reveals 90% of his “audience” on Twitter was bots. Whoosh – right over his head. Staring at your phone while handing your country over to communists is just as big a crime as communism.

i have known people who get drunk on hating a person,ex wife, husband, prez, etc.they become a blathering drooling moron, twisted, demented to any fact–you are drunk Jones==trump was surronded by back stabbing fools–bright enough? you showed your own low IQ Jones-keep drinking from the hate cocktail Jones and we will keep laughing….more on

          • Nigel Tufnel July 22, 2022 at 4:17 pm #

Cheap shot, happifae, citing the ‘hate’ argument. You don’t address any of the issues. You lose that debate hands down.

My biggest issue w Trump is that he could’ve pardoned Assange, and he did not. Trump just left him there, Julian, perhaps the greatest journalist Ever, to rot in prison. So fk you Donald.

          • C.O.Jones July 22, 2022 at 9:21 pm #

OK, happiface – who “surronded” Trump with backstabbing fools? Was it his repeated bad decisions? Or was it yours? Perhaps he was directed by his owners. Nahhh. He didn’t owe anybody, right?

My point was that when his country needed him most, he let his daughter run the show while he tweeted. That’s fact.

I am completely sober while you are barely literate.

Low IQ? Put $10,000 cash on the table and I will do the same. Invite JHK to proctor our IQ test – high IQ takes the money minus a $2k fee for our host.

You game? Or just all mouth?

      • Rowdypiglet July 22, 2022 at 12:43 pm #

I’ll give him his due, in that I think he sincerely tried to do what he promised, but the Deep State is a lot bigger than Donald Trump. He didn’t have loyal people to support him, and others who were actively undermining him, but some promises were kept (though they’ve now been undone).

He wears his flaws where all can see them, and they make him vulnerable. His ego is the biggest of them. The other is that he’s wily and cunning, but not intelligent – though you could argue that’s a form of intelligence. It makes him a good negotiator, but governing is not the same as business. He was readily outwitted all around, even by the likes of Mike Pence.

Still – he fought them with the tools at his disposal, and I’m not going to fault him for what he wasn’t able to do. At this point, it’s hard to see any viable role for him though he could probably make things worse for any potential Republican candidate.

        • Beryl of Oyl July 22, 2022 at 1:08 pm #

I love the man, I am grateful for what he tried to do and what he did do, but when it comes to the point where he has the worst people he could possibly find, standing up there talking crazy talk, and he’s recommending that Americans be imprisoned by their governors because someone with a record like Fauci’s is saying so, I have to draw the line.

I tried and tried to make excuses for him, but the more I learn, I just have to admit how bad he blew it.

This is a tweet I saw just the other day, that expressed what I’ve been thinking, but didn’t want to acknowledge out loud:

“Trump stood at the podium for months and heard the ludicrous things that were said by both Fauci and Birx, to even a mere civilian like myself knew where not science based. If I knew it was a scam, how couldn’t he.
          I can never forgive that..”

How do I get past that?

          • Jarek July 22, 2022 at 1:28 pm #

And don’t forget the early days where he was retweeting covid sceptics. Even once saying publicly, if we would just ignore it, it would all go away. He knew but he didn’t have the courage to condemn it openly and forthrightly. Thus he was panned by the media for saying to ignore it. How not? Ignore a deadly pandemic?

So since he didn’t have the courage to really speak, he learned to shut up and just stood at the podium like a cigar store Indian. When he would occasionally say something, Dr Birx would roll her eyes.

He was about to appoint Kennedy and Jared told him to appoint Fauci instead. So he appointed Fauci. Such resolve….

          • Rowdypiglet July 22, 2022 at 1:41 pm #

As I said, he’s not really smart, especially where his ego is involved. He made the fundamental mistake of reacting to every ridiculous thing the media said about him. He wasn’t enough of an adult to just let it go and do the work he was there for. We don’t have to get past any of it. There’s nothing wrong with acknowledging the good and the bad. I wouldn’t have done that while he was in office, because he really was just about the only thing standing between us and the world we’re in right now – even if he was standing in wobbly and not altogether helpful fashion. Besides, when someone is being attacked by a pack of hyenas, I wouldn’t join them even if they beset an enemy.

          • MaryQueen July 22, 2022 at 9:04 pm #

Trump allowed all those people to sit in solitary confinement without helping them.

            Fuck him.

        • JTinMD July 22, 2022 at 2:05 pm #

So much of what ails us comes from increasing complexity in nearly all we do from one day to the next. Increasing complexity with diminishing returns; or even negative returns. I don’t think anybody actually knows what’s going on, especially our parade of performing puppets in the White House. So, there’s just no fix to any of this, short of collapse and a new and simpler structure we can all navigate. Simplicity, common sense, and justice for all.

  4. Walter B July 22, 2022 at 9:45 am #

Isn’t it really a sign of the times James that the “My way or the highway” crowd will do absolutely anything at all to get what they want? It is the mantra of a totally spoiled rotten, pandered to hoard of self-centered clowns to throw morality, truth, and the rules of society and law into the garbage can fire of hate. How many out there are ecstatic that Mr. Trumm was removed by any means possible? This is where societal collapse begins, and it is going to go into quickening mode shortly if my assessment is accurate.

I was honored to be in attendance at your engagement this past Wednesday and you were magnificent! The crowd seemed to appreciate you as well, and you handled everything most professional and astutely. You keep up the great work sir, thank you and God Bless you.

      • Walter B July 22, 2022 at 11:19 am #

Our host spoke for what I believe to be an hour and a half, displaying a descriptive and entertaining slideshow headlined by a picture of a cellphone distracted fellow sitting next to a statue of Ronald McDonald with a caption of: “How long can we afford to be a nation of clowns”! His presentation laid out his peak oil beliefs, the too big to not fail condition of our economic, failing food supply and transportation systems, and shared his prognostications of how these behemoths are going to experience change as the days go by and will be forced to adapt to a new abnormal.

I was surprised to see a crowd of what I believed to be mostly New Yorkers appear to understand and even agree with the idea of a not so exciting future for their impossible to maintain environment. It was interesting to see that no one appeared to object when Jim came right out and stated that Wall Street had robbed main street and the American heartland of their pension funds and savings and used the profits to line their own pockets and upgrade their own surrounding at the expense of those too trusting and far too vulnerable to fraud and theft.

Jim was very gracious when I walked up to meet him for the first time when the doors opened and thank you Mr. Kunstler for a wonderful chat and a great photo op as well.

        • Disaffected July 22, 2022 at 11:29 am #

Great! Yes, talk about walking into the proverbial Wall St. banksters’ lion’s den! But of course they know full well that he’s right and the consolation prize to assuage their bruised egos is that they get to keep the money anyway.

Nice report, Walter, I was wondering how it went, and it appears the answer is “Pretty Well.”

          Multiple choice question.

          1. Which most applies to our current situation:

          a. too big to not fail
          b. a new abnormal
          c. a not so exciting future
          d. ALL OF THE ABOVE

          • Walter B July 22, 2022 at 8:59 pm #

Oh, the future will be exciting alright, about as exciting as waiting to see which direction the invading hoards will be approaching from, the East or the West. Reminds me of the plight of the nation of Poland in the 1930’s/40’s, except that the Poles were all a heck of a lot tougher human beings than any American of today could ever hope to be.

Wow, you really fought hard to master your optimism there, didn’t you, James! 🙂 However, it’s hard to disagree with a thing you say. The only glint of light is that it looks like the globalists have lost control. They can destroy things but they can’t build because their plans are too crazy.

    • Disaffected July 22, 2022 at 10:01 am #

Building is no longer in the cards. We’re in the demolition and destruction phase right now.

      • JohnAZ July 22, 2022 at 12:26 pm #

I hate to disagree with you, Dis, haha,

I think we have seen nothing yet.

Think, two years ago, we were not even discussing WEF or Klaus. That is because their secrecy, AKA Spectre, was very much in place. They have been around since the seventies, supposedly founded by Kissinger and Schwab. Remember Kissinger, the party responsible for our loss in VietNam? Anyway, they have been moving along, chewing away at the hierarchy of the world for 50 years, taking advantage in every way possible, but always very quietly, undermining national autonomies at every opportunity.

Just recently, their identity has been revealed because of the traitorous actions of the Biden Mob in their activities to destroy Old USA.

Like all Liberal revolutions, they do not have a clue what to do to improve the lot of the people once the obtain power. That is why socialism fails, over and over again. The heart of the people are in the people, in their liberty to achieve what they are capable of. Definitely not in a government whose sole function is to suborn the people.

So now we have the identity of the Liberal globalists and sorta what they are up to. It now is going to be much more overt, like JHK, think about fixing or voiding election. Deplorables, which I am proud to be called, nearly 50% of the population, need to unite and either drive the SOBs out, or secede away from their loser attitudes.

It is just starting, we are witnessing the start of the takeover, my guess is a Democratic victory in November, in spite of the ludicrousness of current affairs. Then you will see the WEF through Biden coming out in full force to do their final takeover.

Or if they lose appreciably enough, they will go crawl under the rock they have been hiding under like the fetid monsters they are, ready to strike again when another few million socialists enter the southern border.

IMHO, secession to stop the inflow of socialists is the only long term way to halt the globalists. Florida, the Old South, Texas and Arizona need to finish their walls and enforce the border, blocking the northern Libs from importing more socialist gimmes. Sealing the border has got to be the number one agenda item for the South.

Isn’t it ironic that the mayors of DC and NY are now assailing Abbot and Doucy for busing immigrants to their cities. They have neither the budget nor the personnel to handle the additional folks. Are the Feds in DC listening to their own fan club?

Like so many other things, the Deep State does not have a clue, just emotional reaction. Thinking rationally is not in their makeup. Just open the border to all those potential socialists, we have no idea what to do with them when they get here. Just let the border states handle everything, do not send them north. Then when the South attempts to handle the onslaught, the Feds block them in every way possible.

Another victory for Klausenschwaben if allowed to continue.

BTW, the Old USA better get their eggs in one basket. If Trump runs, getting with the other side will be a vote for the WEF and the mob. A vote against the leader of the conservative populist side is an approval stamp for everything this blog stands against. Trump is the sole, at least right now, force against the WEF available. GOP contenders that think that cooperation with the Deep State will change things need to be eliminated. If Trump remains standing after the traitors are sorted out, think Cheney, then he is the only figure standing in the way of the takeover. Vote accordingly.

Cheney, what a joke. She thinks that her purpose in life is to preserve the Deep State and clobber Trump. The Wyoming GOP has voided her GOP credentials and censured her. She is currently 20% behind in the primary. Her response? I feel great because I am getting Trump! What a dunce.

  8. David Webb July 22, 2022 at 9:58 am #

After not gardening for many years I decided to get back into it this year. Really just a tiny test plot, I was reluctant to put too much into a piece of rented land. On the other hand, it’s cheap rent and a huge lot that’s mostly lawn right now, if I decide to stay here a few more years it might be worth expanding the garden significantly. Maybe I can start paying part of my rent with produce eventually.

    • Paul July 22, 2022 at 10:50 am #

David Webb, stick with your back-to-gardening initiative. I’m very fortunate that way back in 1990, we picked up 5 smallish village lots for only $15K. Despite many temptations over the years we did not sell, build-on, or otherwise disposed of these plots which are comprised of fine, fluvial silt with hardly any stones at all. In 2018, now living here full time, I started gardening more seriously, which means I have found new ways to ‘fail better’ each year. Still, these ‘better failures’ are present with an increasing number of successes, more recent of which has been this year’s bumper crop of strawberries and garlic. I wish you every success with what you are doing.

      • JohnAZ July 22, 2022 at 12:37 pm #

Farming has always been the combination of a staple crop that grows well in the selected environment, plus animal husbandry, plus a truck garden where the family veggies are grown, but with much extra water and care.

Farmers are not gentlemen, their only occupation is taking care of their crops. Intra family roles are sharply divided, with Dad doing the heavy labor, Mom doing the lighter labor and the kids learning and doing their roles as they mature.

Just the opposite of where the US is going.

As the cities subside into the collapse, what the Right hates about Biden America will collapse with a loud thud. I am too old to witness this, probably, but I envy the young people that may witness it. Life will become good again for them.

      • Daddyotis July 22, 2022 at 1:40 pm #

        Paul and David,

Bravo for your fortitude and desire to garden the growing season. Personally, I simply love the calming chaos of daily upkeep on my vegetable patches. I’m a firm believer that knowledge of gardening and agriculture (gained only by making many mistakes over multiple seasons) will be a great asset once the World Made By Hand is our reality. There is nothing quite like having a meal containing produce from your own efforts and God’s grace. Canning, freezing, and preserving excess allows me to feel the same way whether in August or February. Keep up the good work..

        • Lyndy33 July 22, 2022 at 5:24 pm #

There are a lot of places that gardening just won’t work. We have lived in the high desert of Nevada near Reno for 30 years. Even with all the water that I could use (we have a well), it just doesn’t work. Tried hoop house and at night the HH got to nighttime temps and needed extra heat which defeats the concept of home crops. A full heated hot house will work and UNR is doing that but requires too many BTUs to be worth it.

When the first white explorers arrived here there were about 3000 Indians living in the area from Tahoe to the Pine Nut Mountains and they lived along the rivers for fish, etc.. Now there are a couple million in the same area so during the long emergency, there will be a big die off around here. We are moving, though it is a big PITA, to someplace like mid Indiana where crops can be grown.

Me, my daughter, and her husband have a big shared garden this year, which has been a real pleasure. They put down 3-foot-wide weed barrier between the rows and 75 feet of fencing to support the tomatoes. It has been good to have three pairs of hands to do the work, as the garden is about 5,000 square feet. (It’s still hard to keep up with the weeding.)

This year we’ve planted crops for fall harvest: second plantings of green beans, summer squash, and beets, plus some winter root crops. Neither of us have ever done much in the way of mid-summer planting before, as the heat makes it very difficult to get motivated around here.

With a little luck, we will soon be struggling to keep up with the canning.

The weed barrier is a big help (it conserves moisture in the soil as well as controlling weeds), as is the fencing. I used to break down cardboard boxes to use as a weed barrier, but that gets to be a lot of work in itself.

It’s a lot of fun trying new tomato varieties. It’s good to try a few new ones every year. Every now and then you’ll find one that just blows you away to add to your collection. I’m already shopping for next year’s tomatoes.

The poblano peppers have been such a big success that my daughter wants to grow a 50-foot row of them next year. Okra is nearly always a big success. You can easily drown in okra.

    • Anthea July 23, 2022 at 10:50 am #

Try Druzba tomatoes next year. You will have to start them from seed, as nursery plants are never available–and you’ll have to hunt around for the seeds.

I started several tomato varieties indoors this year, and Druzba was one of them, as I’ve always been impressed with it in the past. This year my daughter and I set out 5 Druzba plants. One of them has turned out to be MASSIVELY productive. I’ve never seen anything like it. We will be saving the seed from that plant. Another tomato that is everyone’s favorite is Cherokee Purple. The fruits are so sweet that my youngest daughter once remarked, “It’s so sweet that it’s not even a tomato any more.” I always grow Early Girl (the only hybrid I grow) so I’ll get early tomatoes. I always grow Rutgers because it is super reliable and produces when others fail. My daughter has always grown Amish Paste for making sauce. I gave up on it because it never did very well for me at my previous house. Here in this location, it is very productive. I have some other favorites, but we would be getting over into highly individual preferences.

Next year I want to try Texas Star, Pink Elephant, Sugar Pud, Grandma’s Secret, and Brandywine True Black. All are supposed have outstanding flavor. I think I’ll try Stupice again, as it is very early–even earlier than Early Girl–and flavorful. It is just kind of a small tomato.

If you like kale, get Russian Red. We’ve come to prefer Strike for green beans–very productive and flavorful.

There is still time to plant cole crops, root crops, summer squash, and green beans for fall harvest. In Augusgt/September you can seed lettuce and spinach again. Spinach overwinters here (Kansas City area) and gives a very early crop the following spring.

I always grow Rutgers because it is super reliable – Anthea

In my world (in my youth of the 1950s*) the “Jersey tomato” was the best in the world (after all, we ARE the Garden State), just as an Idaho potato was/is the best.

Jersey tomatoes were always randomly odd-shaped, not perfectly red all over and not perfectly round as tomatoes have become once they were GMO-engineered.

Is that what you are referring to when you say “Rutgers?”

*In my early teens I helped out on Jarvis’s farm, 100 acres a quarter mile from my house.

If Russia can take back the Ukraine, why can’t the USA take back the Panama Canal Zone? Giving up our control over that region was yet another one of the greatest blunders we could have ever committed. We invested millions of dollars in that project, and countless lives lost to yellow fever and malaria, only to give it away to China. Thanks again ruling elite for selling us out!

When the US stupidly handed back the Panama Canal the Panamanians quickly ceded maintenance to a Chinese firm to do it.

The port decision focuses on Hutchison Whampoa and its 25-year port concession set to expire in January 2022. Hutchison is a Chinese multinational, Fortune 500 conglomerate with a ports and related services division operating in 26 countries. They also manage five of the 10 busiest container ports in the world. While China does not operate the canal, Hutchison manages the ports of Balboa and Cristobal on both sides of the isthmus and the concession for Margarita Island, Panama’s largest Atlantic port. Hutchison is rumored to have deep ties spanning decades with Beijing.

The US can’t even secure its own border.

The Army can’t even come close to meeting their recruiting quotas, even with lowered standards.

Perhaps the vax mandate, plus all this rancor against hetero men in general, and white males in particular is discouraging enlistments, do you think?

All the US can do at this point is press buttons and blow things up, and use that knowledge to coerce others to do what the “US” (aka the PTB) wants.

But the US can’t blow up things of value–like Saudi oil facilities or the Panama Canal–if it wants to utilize them.

Yes, global unity is a delusion.

Everything was underpinned on cheap fossil fuels. The deranged collective West, obsessed over geopolitical & climate ideologies, believes that the US and Europe will continue on windmills & solar panels.

It’s a wholly untenable, and outright insane position, actually. Natural gas and petroleum are fundamental in the survival of society, without the luxuries of 24/7 shopping on Costco, or vacationing at Walt Disney World.

“Renewable” energy isn’t a practical option. So, what really is going on?

It’s obvious that the future isn’t trending towards where the global elites want it to go– where people like Bill Gates, Schwab, and Soros– want the world to look like. These individuals want a hyper-globalized and centralized planet. They want a borderless, ethnically homogenized, corporatized world. These are their goals.

This theory of operation can reasonably explain the actions of the US government for the past 2 years, since the beginning of the Biden regime.

    • JohnAZ July 22, 2022 at 1:05 pm #

      You make a good point.

      Think about this.

How will the world operate when there are no available rapid transportation to go from location to location. National interests will erupt, hopefully voiding out the globalists. Are the climate FF incentives actually going to sink the WEF before it really gets started.

Trains become electric, cars become electric, planes become electric, on a small scale, ships go back to clipper designs. All things transportation becoming electric? All powered by electricity that is 80% generated by FF and in sufficiently now. Better start building those nukes now. Wind and solar have been shown to be failures, thanks to Germany and Russia. A bitter lesson best learned early.

Remember how easily many people were persuaded to view freedom as a bad thing?

It seems to me that upholding our Constitution and thus our liberty is the most important function of the federal government. Isn’t that why they swear an oath?

I’ve come to the point of view that the only thing that can save this country is not to destroy it, but to tear it down to the studs. Keep the framework, throw out anybody who did not respect the principles that we were founded on.

That would include most of the Supreme Court, especially that Amy Coney Barrett, who was chosen for her belief that there are emergency exceptions to the Bill of Rights, such as a cold virus.

BTW I was talking with someone who knows more about legal matters than I do, and he is of the opinion that the case they used to justify overturning Roe v. Wade made for bad law too, and assured that there would be an uproar over it for the foreseeable future.

Here’s an article that expresses eloquently what is wrong with having to prove the face doily does not work in order to be excused from wearing one:

“Sometimes respecting the freedom of others will cost us. The majority may need to swallow a risk for a time. Codifying the process, legalism, and law that expresses fundamental intrinsic human worth gives wisdom time to overcome fear. It’s the insurance that keeps the members of a free society free. Insurance is the inescapable recurrent cost that protects from occasional, but inevitable, catastrophe. Enslavement in a medico-fascist society could become a catastrophe with no exit. So in opposing it, no quarter should be given.”

Beryl, it’s not clear to me why the Court’s decision is characterized as “overturning” Roe vs. Wade. It appears as though they’ve passed the decision on to be made at the state level. I don’t know what the long term results would be if more decision making were to be made at the that level, but – admittedly, at first glance – it seems more reasonable. Differences in state governments allow us a level of choice, whereas everything decided at the Federal level is a bit more like one world government – nowhere to go to get away from it. I’m attempting to further educate myself on this subject.

      • Beryl of Oyl July 22, 2022 at 1:22 pm #

Yes, It couldn’t really be called overturning it, but that was the stated goal when ACB was picked for the SC, and that is the term that extremists at both ends of the issue have been using.

This reminds me of when the Clinton Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy was ended.

I only heard it explained correctly on one media outlet, that repealing the policy wasn’t the same as allowing gays in the military.

For some reason many gay people I know were persuaded by Barack Obama that Bill Clinton’s action was what stood between them and equality, when it was actually DADT that allowed them into the military.

It was a true compromise, and a good one. IMO. The gays’ alleged goal was to be allowed to serve their country, and it gave them that.

The military’s objection, although it was never stated, is that they didn’t want to get into family benefits for some guy’s husband, and all that, which was of course the actual agenda of the LBTQ crowd.

I’m trying to get more educated on the Roe v. Wade decision too, especially after that person told me basing it on Dobbs wasn’t the right thing to do.

A nice upbeat post for the weekend, James. Well done. The future has many potential paths forward, and most of them are as dark, or darker, than what you’ve portrayed today. Today’s vibe really does have a feel of “every man for himself!” But at least the light at the end of the tunnel, be it the slight glimmer of sunshine or the glare of the oncoming train, is coming fast now.

As the little emergencies grow and persist across the globe, choices will be made and chaos will ensue. Most realize in the back of their minds that we can’t vote our way out of this, and someone gets the short straw. They scramble in fear they don’t find a seat when the music stops. Their morals of treating others as they want to be treated will be tested, as the slack of a fat excess of discretionary income melts away into the “new normal” of coming up with enough scratch each month to obtain food, shelter and clothing.

We’re morphing into those poor bastards that comprised the mob on the Titanic, locked away down in steerage. As the bilges and holds filled with water, the decks tilted, and the mob migrated upward from one padlocked gate to the next, the sickening feeling of helplessness took over, and all that’s left is making peace with the Big Shifter.

On the bright side, the days of having to endure the machinations of our political and bureaucratic classes as they see which one can be labeled the most insane for the day are coming to a close. At this point death is preferable to another State of the Union address by SloJoe. The black swans generated by the sickening cultural process known as mass formation will stand in stark contrast to the accomplishments of landing on the moon and the Information Age by the same species. This period of reckoning, or “I told you so!”, may be short, but it’s coming.

It remains to be seen how many of us rats can swim to shore. (okay, I’m tapped on metaphors – enjoy the weekend, and live for the moment!)

Corn on the cob at its best comes off the stalk and is plunged into boiling water. Removing the cobs starts the process of sugar to starch conversion and sweet corn needs to be boiled right away to stop the process.

That is why sweet corn in the market never tastes sweet.

Farmers markets can provide fresh corn, but nothing compares to growing your own. The vast majority of folks never taste truly sweet corn on the cob.

          • Beryl of Oyl July 22, 2022 at 1:23 pm #

That’s probably why the industry is working harder to come up with sweeter varieties too.

When my daughter and her husband first bought their small acreage and were planting fruit trees, I suggested getting a peach tree. My daughter said she didn’t like peaches, but they planted one anyway. She was blown away when she tasted her first tree-ripened peach. The ones from the store are awful! I didn’t realize she had never tasted a real peach.

Tomatoes from the store are barely fit to eat. I buy them (grudgingly) in winter, even if they are awful. Our home-grown ones are just starting to roll in now.

I had the Rona and it does make you sick ,and I could see it killing fattys ,but what I dont get is how the goverments where so concerned
These are the same people who create toxic dumps like Sun Valley Ca they do not care about peoples lives
These people sacrifice millions all over the world ………
and yet they are very concerned about health of the population
The Sad thing is even if the tell the truth nobody thinks they are telling the truth

    • Beryl of Oyl July 22, 2022 at 11:37 am #

They were concerned because they watched the videos of a short period of time on a single day in a single Italian ER, and/or the videos out of COMMUNIST China with people out for a walk suddenly keeling over, which, ironically, is what the “vaccine” is doing to healthy young people.

If a person with a head cold were to be admitted to a hospital and stuck on a ventilator, they’d likely die too.

      • Paula D July 23, 2022 at 11:55 am #

I never believed that those videos were real. I assumed it was propaganda from the US.
I see that other people think it was Chinese propaganda. I don’t think so.

They weren’t concerned about public health.
They used the fear of the virus to push forward their other agendas.
You can see Bill Gates and the rest speak about the starving children of Africa and how important it is to vaccinate them.
Wait. What? They are starving and you only want to vaccinate them?

    • Night Owl July 23, 2022 at 4:22 am #

And what sort of test was able to confirm that you had the “Rona”?

    New York has polio, again.

NYC’s mayor seems genuinely disturbed by all the illegal aliens swarming the place. I seem to recall Bloomberg encouraging illegal immigration.

Oh, and the uniparty pick for governor was attacked at a campaign event.

    The attacker wan’t successful.

Lee should have campaign signs made up- Vote For Zeldin, Hochul Is Worse.

    • BackRowHeckler July 22, 2022 at 12:04 pm #

Similar to events in 2015, when thousands of unaccompanied minors illegally crossed the border and were distributed across the US on the down low; strange viruses began to break out inside public schools where they were placed, including a strange polio/meningitis strain that killed a number of American kids. Nobody seemed to care except for the parents of the children who died. The main thing for the media was to keep the story out of the news so it would not draw negative attention to Obama’s open border policy, and the millions of Central Americans flooding in from the fetid jungles and disease ridden barrios of Latin America.

One “new” disease that seems to have become epidemic is hand, foot, and mouth disease. I never even heard of it when I was growing up, but now it’s in every elementary school.

        • benr July 23, 2022 at 10:24 am #

          Nasty looking little disease.

          • Anthea July 23, 2022 at 11:28 am #

One of my daughters caught it while teaching in an elementary school while taking her Master’s degree. I had never even heard of it at that time. She told me it is epidemic in elementary schools.

I got it last year–just a bunch of red spots on my hands and feet. I probably picked it up at the farmers’ market. I didn’t know what it was until a Facebook friend diagnosed it based on my description. (She has young children, so she knows about it.)

            It’s just a mild, self-limiting childhood disease, but still…

          • benr July 23, 2022 at 3:00 pm #

It’s a really big problem for hooved animals and the Zoo’s are really worried about it.

New York has TB again also.
I only know because a facebook friend’s ex-wife works in public health there. The immigrants living in the slums are spreading it, just like in the old days.
      The media says nothing.

      • Beryl of Oyl July 22, 2022 at 12:53 pm #

Public health went backwards in time in more ways than one, with this covid. Farther than masks, farther than miasma, back to superstition and voodoo.

        • Paula D July 22, 2022 at 2:06 pm #

Right. He told me about this before the covid psy ops.
Public health is as compromised as the rest of the medical industrial complex.

        • Paula D July 22, 2022 at 2:11 pm #

But yeah, when they tell us a ”new variant is spreading” and somehow it manages to infect people in unconnected places simultaneously, and no one asks about how it was transmitted so widely without being able to trace the contacts, we are going back to spontaneous generation.
Remember that only 2 years ago they hired a bunch of track-and-trace people, but now the whole idea of disease spreading from person to person has been dropped. It’s too limiting to their plans when they roll out a new disease worldwide simultaneously.
And when a reporter asked Biden’s doctor where he contracted his covid, he responded that it was ”not important”.

I ‘d make a few minor modifications to the predictions: Kamala becomes 47, to the delight of the “Trump is Hitler” crowd, and is hailed as the “Kackling Krone of Kontemptuousness”. She survives an attempt on her life, rumored to be from a Hillary hit man, and appoints Newsome who declares the D.C. Mall the National Homeless Camp and Fentanyl Lounge. The Dems add the seats and the Green New Deal and Build Back Better unite and cover all interstate highways with solar panels – no cars or trucks allowed. A trans-continental dust storm due to the drought in the West covers 3/4 of the panels, leading to widespread and seemingly permanent power outages throughout the nation, along with food, fuel, and water shortages. Black Lives Matter and Antifa burn and loot half the nation’s stores, then discover that Air Jordans are inedible, and looted TVs require – wait for it – electric power. All this before Christmas 2023!

It’s funny how the Davos gang never talk about all the maintenance solar panels require.

They also conveniently leave out the fact solar panels are most efficient converting sunlight to electricity around 77F.

Move a few degrees away from that temp and efficiency plummets.

“At that moment you will be required to recite the Climate Pledge.”

    The Climate Pledge;

    How dare you,
    How DARE YOU!
You let the meal-bugs scare you
    They are nutritious,
    And mostly delicious,
When their butts are removed (if you care to)

    How dare you,
We now own nothing (nor care to)
    But Gaia is happy,
    The Earth not so crappy,
Just as our betters have told you

    How dare you
Stop bitching and moaning and swearing,
    Credit scores might then suffer,
    Fewer bugs for your supper,
Soon we will be beyond caring….

    • BackRowHeckler July 22, 2022 at 12:08 pm #

  23. Beryl of Oyl July 22, 2022 at 11:23 am #

There are some good people doing some great work on the commie lockdowns, getting to the bottom of that crime against humanity.

I’m not sure if Jeffrey A. Tucker’s wonderful review of the Birx book was referenced last week or not:

Dr. Birx Praises Herself While Revealing Ignorance, Treachery, and Deceit

Hre are a couple of other very useful articles related to that, by Michael P. Senger:

Deborah Birx’s “Silent Invasion”: a Guide to Destroying America From Within

Matt Pottinger: The Intelligence Agent Who Shut Down America

That last one is important because a missing piece of the puzzle, where did they get Dr. Birx?

Emerald Robinson has been writing about the disaster of the covid team and Pence’s role in it, here’s her most recent piece:

For good measure, I’m adding an article that Jordan Schachtel did quite some time ago:

How COVID-19 became a disinformation operation wrapped in a virus

      • Beryl of Oyl July 22, 2022 at 12:24 pm #

There are actual laws under which they can be charged, but from what I understand, we only have until 2024 or so to do so.

The Overton Window is shifting. Tucker used to praise the Vax, though always maintaining the need for freedom of choice. Now he’s citing hard core evidence about its destruction of the human immune system, such as the Lancet article.

      • Beryl of Oyl July 22, 2022 at 12:29 pm #

He stepped up to fill a void, and is doing a magnificent job, IMO. It’s hard for anyone to let go of preconceived ideas and be completely objective.

I imagine the hardest idea to come to terms with is that there is no “expert”, no “leader”, and be stepping up, you’re it.

        • Jarek July 22, 2022 at 12:57 pm #

Yes, all the more admirable since he’s been vaxed at least a couple of times I believe.

I hope not, but an awful lot of intelligent and aware people nonetheless did get the vaccine.

          • Night Owl July 22, 2022 at 4:24 pm #

define intelligent and aware. No one intelligent in the areas required for survival got multiple doeses of the shot.

At the start of this, I went off of sheer intuition and pattern recognition.

That kind of intelligence can’t be taught, and I would wager that most in the “unvaxed minority” have it in spades.

Mother Nature is a cruel mistress.

          • MaryQueen July 22, 2022 at 11:29 pm #

            Agree with Night Owl.

I’m no genius, but I was smart enough to stay the hell away from the clotshot – plus knew it was coming because I recognize patterns.

          • Anthea July 23, 2022 at 2:19 am #

I too agree with Night Owl.

How the HELL could ANYONE not immediately recognize an agenda that abrogated rights and destroyed lives and livelihoods as evil? How could anyone not immediately realize that this was its purpose? We had straight-up in-your-face evil at work, and people didn’t know this?

How could anyone not instinctively know that masks and social distancing were bullshit?

How could anyone fail to notice that there was no pandemic?

Ergo, how could anyone possibly see the vax as a good thing?

You’d have to be an idiot.

          • Night Owl July 23, 2022 at 4:19 am #

Exactly Anthea. I still remember the first time I had to wear a mask to enter an Obi hardware store over here.

I could barely contain myself (the laughter). At that point they told people there was a “mask shortage” and that they should wear a piece of cotton cloth over their faces.

The absolute stupidity required to believe that such a measure would do anything against a microscopic virus is something I will never be able to comprehend.

          • GreenAlba July 23, 2022 at 5:59 am #

Well, I guess I don’t mind being called an idiot – it’s nothing to what’s coming, which will be being called mentally deficient and being shoved in an internment camp where I will no doubt be the tragic victim of a really bad epidemic of covid, or monkeypox, or HIV, or whatever.

We Brits have always had high levels of trust in our health service, because it hasn’t spent the last 70 years shafting us, so many erroneously extended that trust to our public health officials. Not to mention that the quacksines were originally intended – or rather we were told they were intended – for the over 65s. I also followed the lead of a living, breathing doctor living in my house, before I learned more about human psychology in 18 months than I had in the previous 60-odd.

And not everyone who took a punt on the quacksines, especially us oldies, were on board with either coercion (of any kind and for any profession) or with vaxx passes. I protested to my useless MP way back in March 21 about the outrage of vaxx passes, months before I accepted what was behind covid and the vaxx programme.

Steve Kirsch was also an idiot, despite being a rather smart guy, and so, rather more incredibly, was Robert Malone. He probably chose Moderna (who are basically an outgrowth of the American military) because he knew more about Pfizer’s dodgy approval processes.

But, like I said, being called an idiot is a small insult compared to what’s coming from the other side. I’ll be Tefal woman before this is done, or rather before I’m done.

          • GreenAlba July 23, 2022 at 8:21 am #

I should add, re the health service, that, in terms of what it once was, it simply no longer exists. As per the plan.

          • GreenAlba July 23, 2022 at 8:24 am #

‘not everyone […] *was* on board’, even …

          • GreenAlba July 23, 2022 at 8:26 am #

And the 60-odd was years, not months, obviously.

          • MaryQueen July 23, 2022 at 11:00 am #

GA, sounds like it was much less of an idiotic decision in Europe than here in the states, that’s for sure, because of the reasons you mention.

Here, many have understood our healthcare to be absolute shite for decades, and our gov’t to be as untrustworthy as it gets.

          • Anthea July 23, 2022 at 11:56 am #

            @ GreenAlba:

I can’t see how anyone anywhere could trust conventional medicine. Every other day, you read about useless and harmful drugs being discontinued. The drug-testing process is hopelessly corrupt for all drugs. The lack of interest in pursuing prevention and real cures is stunning.

I went back to the doctor about three months ago, after not seeing a doctor for many years (despite having diabetes). Our local doctor is a good one. She prescribed Ivermectin when no one else would. She also put me on a diabetes drug that works. The reason I stopped going to the doctor before was because they put me on prescriptions that did nothing and/or had bad side effects, so I decided there was no point in taking them. They also constantly pushed the flu shot and statins. (I did cave in and take the pneumonia vaccine, which was probably needless at best.)

Over many years of taking kids to the doctor, I came to the conclusion that most of them are crooks. (I have several horror stories.)

My kids were not vaccinated, because I researched this. My last three kids were born at home because my instincts told me that hospital procedures were harmful to both me and the kids.

I have detested conventional medicine for a VERY long time, but the covid theater took glaring malpractice to a whole new level.

Anyway, my background experience is quite different from yours. BUT it does seem to me that when a person is being repeatedly kicked in the face, they might suspect bad intent.

          • Jarek July 23, 2022 at 12:24 pm #

Yes and no I’d say. Our Civilization is very complex and thus very specialized. We are often utterly dependent on the good will of the specialists – and increasingly, it’s just not there.

They may have lots of information we don’t have, but what do they do with it? If it doesn’t seem to make sense, it probably doesn’t. No one cares as much about your healthy as you do – or should.

Certainly the signs of general corruption are evident. Look how they’ve butchered the Hippocratic Oath excising his condemnation of abortion. Or in popular culture, the excision of the injunction “to obey” in the marriage oath for women.

If the man isn’t head of the household, you don’t have traditional culture. The ladies love to drape themselves in conservatives robes while leaving that part out. Anthea comes right out and says that many if not most men are criminals, and thus a strong police force is needed so women can excise them from the house at a moments notice. Such a totalitarian police force implies a totalitarian state. A funny kind of conservatism, eh?

          • Night Owl July 23, 2022 at 2:29 pm #

GA, I don’t think people were necessarily stupid for taking the initial shot. I do understand the process of having one’s trust in institutions shattered.

And I can understand not critically assessing the situation from the angle some of the “unvaxed” did out of the gate. My journey into that world had long since begun, however, and I had learned to trust my intiution over word wizardry and theatrics.

That said, over the past 4-5 years I also still managed to misjudge the level of corruption in goverment and other public institutions in both Germany and the United States. We are all fallible.

          • GreenAlba July 24, 2022 at 6:07 am #

“I can’t see how anyone anywhere could trust conventional medicine.”

I know you can’t – that’s why I tried to explain to you that in other places the experience has been different. Yes, there have been scandals (in hospitals many if not most of these have been down to understaffing, which in turn has been due to hospitals being shafted through PFI schemes imposed on them by governments), There was Thalidomide. There was the NHS scandal whereby infected blood was bought from the US, where it had been bought, in turn, from dodgy individuals (donations in the UK are not paid for).

But most people’s experience of the NHS, until now, has been positive. I gave birth twice, courtesy of the NHS, and had treatment for a minor cancer – I had no complaints on either count. My mother had two hospitalisations in her later years following accidents, and a major operation for colorectal cancer. She couldn’t praise them enough. Neither could I, when I spent 10 days practically living in the hospital with her as she finally died of a stroke at 88. The nurses even put a makeshift ‘bed’ in there so that I could stay overnight for the duration. All free at the point of use.

So, while I’m well aware of the excess use of drugs, like statins and anti-depressants, my personal acquaintance with conventional medicine, has, for the most part, been positive. Until covid.

      • Night Owl July 22, 2022 at 4:27 pm #

This is what any honest and reasonably intelligent person should do in the event that they got hooked due to fear or faith in institutions that lie to their faces on a daily basis.

Those who deny it and continue to push in the opposite direction are arguably worse than the purveyors of the poison.

    Raise your healthy voice.

    Get ready. Stormtroopers comin’.
    We’ll be ready. Stormtroopers comin’.

Love your blogs! This one is particularly interesting but I have a slight difference of opinion on one point. As we know, the Obamas and his team are basically behind everything Biden…So I believe Harris will appoint Pelosi as VP and then resign…then Pelosi becomes Resident and appoint Michelle Obama as VP and then Pelosi resigns and the Obamas are back in the WH. I know, I know all of the lamestream reports that M Obama does not want to do politics…yeah, right…we’ll see…it’s all going to play out pretty soon..

    • Islander July 22, 2022 at 12:11 pm #

Why wouldn’t Harris just cut to the chase and appoint Michelle as VP in the first place?

      Pelosi, everyone hates.

Michelle—for some reason she seems to be very popular.

      • fugeguy July 22, 2022 at 12:23 pm #

Well for one thing she has an easy life. Probably smart enough to know that here popularity would quickly fade in the spotlight.

        • benr July 22, 2022 at 4:55 pm #

I seriously doubt Mooch would consider it since it has no experience at all and Mooch is smart enough to see what happened to her husband over eight years from hero to almost zero.

“People get ready” apologies to Curtis Mayfield (and everyone else)

People get ready, there’s a trainwreck comin’

You don’t need no ticket, just a bag of popcorn

All you need is faith, to keep on walkin’

Watch the head on colission, all the gravy gone

So people get ready they’s trainwreck a- comin’

All those investments, goin’ up in smoke

All the white folk fightin’ over the Donbass

Well Crimea a river, they be high on coke

    There ain’t no room
    For the hopeless sinner
    Who would hurt all mankind
    Just to save his own
    Have pity on those whose
    Chances grow thinner
    There’s no hiding place
    Against the Kingdom’s throne

So people get ready the trainwreck is comin’

You who read the records, know the score (change up the beat)

He said: “But I’d rather be a free man in my grave
Than living as a puppet or a slave

I have been following you, monday and friday, for years now. Usually you are well on point, and proven right much more often than not, but today you must have been under the weather.
Not one of your best efforts, especially regarding China. It is always *communist* China, out to get ‘Murica in any way it can.
Bullshit. China just wants to be left alone but USA just can’t keep it in their pants, much like H. Biden.
It was looking for trouble with Russia, and now that it found it, what?
China will be the same, only worse. And it will not collapse, run out of , do something, but , etc.
I admit I am the China shill, and Russia shill, and Africa shill, and Latin America shill – you get the idea.
I am what 80% of humankind is – sick and tired of arrogant, racist, and hypocritical collective West, especially the abomination that USA has become.
Collective West should do a decent thing and go jump into the lake, and leave normal people alone. FAt chance, that.

    • Jarek July 22, 2022 at 12:05 pm #

China just wants to be left alone? Maybe once upon a time, before the Communists took over. But now?

      You are a hero, Hogan.

    • Islander July 22, 2022 at 12:14 pm #

You are at least partly right.

China wants to be left alone to MAKE MONEY!

And, IMO China will never again let itself be humiliated as it was for the better part of two cneturies, by the British East India Company; by the British Opium wars (cue the Delano family and FDR), etc.

If the USA messes with Taiwan, all bets are off.

      • hmuller July 22, 2022 at 12:40 pm #

Will the Chicoms shoot down Pelosi’s plane as it approaches Taiwan? There’s been some talk. More clearing out the deadwood for the return of Trump? I’d laugh my ass off if it happens.

      • Socrates-Detroit July 22, 2022 at 12:46 pm #

Human nature is human nature. IMO, most people who rise to the top are driven, insatiable, often psychopaths.

The modern west is the latest derivative of Greco-Roman values. Yet the (western) Roman Empire fell in 460 AD, and the successor, Hellenistic-Roman Byzantine Empire fell a thousand years later.

Today, neither modern Greek (derived from ancient Greek), nor Latin, not Latin-derived Italian, nor Rome or Constantinople are the languages and centers of the West.

At roughly the same time when Rome peaked, the Chinese Empire was dominant in East Asia. Today, the descendants of ancient China, in the form of the nominally Communist Party, rule a resurgent China.

The nominally Communist party is in many important aspects much more conservative than either US party. Tik-Tok, and Chinese platform, is very different in China, where it is “wholesome” in a 1950s type of manner, than in the US, where it deliberately dumbs down youth and appeals to its baser instincts.

Perhaps in 1980, China sought to co-exist and grow, in the shadow of the still formidable USA and USSR.

Today, China has economic muscle, and every day grows more powerful militarily.

The Chinese leaders not only view China’s greater role as natural and consistent with China’s power, but they also see themselves as the legacy of an ancient, proud culture, confronted by a degenerate, decadent, decaying West. Why should they NOT take over? Indeed, THEIR manifest destiny compels them to take over.

And, as a practical matter, as China is drowning in pollution, and is NOT endowed with the natural resources and bounty of the US, the Chinese need resources and Lebensraum.

The Chinese are patient and persistent on the global stage. However, the Chinese govt faces serious challenges internally–how to feed the people, the massive pollution, the different ethnic groups.

        Lots of variables….

        • JohnAZ July 22, 2022 at 1:38 pm #

          China = fascism

USA (West) = capitalism, uh huh?

China is currently spending itself into insolvency by expanding its economic influence around the world.

The USA has already spent itself into insolvency, it has few weapons left to counter Chinese fascist philosophy.

Russia, much smaller but developing rapidly, will combine with China to finish off the US.
Sino-Russia is in formation right now with Ukraine as the focus. The US and Europe are doomed. Even Canada and Mexico are making anti-USA statements today.

          Good job Biden. Idiot!

          • Rhett Dawson July 22, 2022 at 2:02 pm #

I have missed Canada’s anti-USA statements. Do you have examples? Thanks!

          • Jarek July 22, 2022 at 2:37 pm #

Nope, National Socialism since they believe in and value their race.

And yes, it will crush miserable Capitalism/Communism.

Russia doesn’t value the founding race – Whites – but unlike the United States, doesn’t hate and persecute them either. They are Fascist.

President Biden declared ‘a national emergency’ to help free wrongful detainees. President Biden issued an executive order to help free American hostages and wrongful detainees.

The move “won’t help” WNBA star Brittney Griner, legal analysts and hostage negotiators say.

“As far as Brittney Griner goes, it doesn’t affect her at all,” one analyst told Insider.

Essentially, Biden is running around the East Wing of the White House like a chicken with his head cut off, quarantined, declaring everything a “national emergency”. He is really getting stuff done now, watch for those approval ratings to shoot up and for the Democrats to clear 15-20 additional seats in the House come November.

At a press conference Thursday press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was questioned about the genesis of the POTUS’ infection. Her response is what has Twitter going off the rails. “I don’t think that matters,” the new mouthpiece for the president noted. Pierre added, “Look, I don’t think that that matters, right? I think what matters is we prepared for this moment. Look, we knew this was going to happen.” She stressed that the fact that Biden is vaxxed and feeling alright is what the focus should be.”

Okay, so: “We knew this was going to happen… at some point, everyone is going to get COVID. So why then do we persist with the mask charade?”

“Really? He was at an event yesterday and shook hands with everyone… doesn’t matter???”

Many other Twitter users pointed out the seeming hypocrisy of how their own COVID diagnoses were handled versus the leader of the free world. “They locked people down for months and masked our kids, now it doesn’t matter?”

Jean-Pierre’s handling of the presser was on par with “how disastrously Biden has run the country.”

This is my first garden that I’m emotionally involved with. I had a name for my big head of broccoli before picking it the other day. Previously, you’d just get what you get and who cares. Now I am keenly aware of all the little problems that cut your yield. The potato bugs, cabbage loopers and grasshoppers and the birds eating my cherries. I declare war on them using clean non-pesticide remedies. Why are my bell peppers all bush and hardly any fruit. There don’t seem to be that many honeybees floating around this year. Is this normal? Can’t remember. Welcome to the new reality.

Good for you for trying gardening. I’m in my 5th year of gardening and still learning, every day. I grew up on a ranch but didn’t pay much attention to what my parents and grandparents did with the garden, or with animals. Bugs, esp little white aphids, have been my enemy from day one. I’ve tried to be organic, but that is simply not possible unless you are retired or have a bunch or workers, or kids who will spray neem oil on all leaves, both sides. For root veggies, I’ve devolved to likely carcinogenic Seven powder and spray and to hell with ‘organic.’ For other stuff, I spray neem oil like there’s no tomorrow, after every rain. Good luck, and teach others as you learn.

Diatomaceous earth seems to be kind of a treatment for just about everything. I focus on muscle crops. Potatoes, onions, beets, squash. Lots of pounds of stuff relatively easily. All the other stuff is whatever you personally like to eat. Corn is doing amazing, as far as I can tell. Never done corn but at least it’s not being eaten alive. I’m convinced chicken eggs are about the easiest source of protein. If KSchwab can get the price point down for his bug operation, this might be a way to keep the chickens fat all winter long.

    • Anthea July 23, 2022 at 2:47 am #

Supposedly, you can apply flour to stuff in the cabbage family to control the white cabbage moths. I actually tried this this year on the collards, but the website I was going by said to mix flour and salt, and the salt DESTROYED the collard leaves. Admittedly, it did kill all the cabbage worms, and the collards will come back once the weather cools down and the cabbage looper season is over.

For cherries, plant yellow sweet cherries, as they are not attractive to birds. However, they need a pollinator, and if I remember right, it has to be a red sweet cherry.

All bush and hardly any fruit usually means too much nitrogen in the soil. It could also be high temperatures, as tomatoes and peppers don’t set fruit above about 90° F., if I remember right. I’ve read that the peppers really start to go nuts once the temperature goes down in late summer/fall, but this is my first year growing much in the way of peppers, so I’m just going by what I’ve read. Also, you need to pick the peppers as they mature. If you hold out for them to turn red and get huge, they don’t set as much fruit. It’s like dead-heading flowers to get them to produce more flowers.

Also, with bell peppers, it could have to do the with variety. I never had much luck with California Wonder, and other people have concurred with me on that. I’m going to try Anastasiya, Fatima, Taibei, and Whopper Yunnan next year. This is after doing a little research–but you never know how things will do in your area until you try.

      • farmgal July 23, 2022 at 7:01 am #

Anthea I believe you are totally correct about too much nitrogen for peppers. I read once that a small amount of Fertilizer should be used when planning and then no more. I don’t have a lot of luck with bells but wow the poblanos and Jalapenos grow like crazy. I grew my plants from seed so they were a bit small when transplanting and the good thing is not many insects bother them. I refuse to pay 4.95 per plant at the big box stores.

        • Anthea July 23, 2022 at 12:36 pm #

My daughter and I both LOVE poblanos! I don’t think our jalapenos are doing as well as the poblanos, and I think some of the peppers are mis-labelled (or not labelled at all). There seem to be some mysterious sweet peppers in that row.

      • TaxDonkey July 24, 2022 at 2:26 pm #

Thanks for the pepper advice. It’s been ridiculously hot lately so that may be why the pepppers seems to be all bush no fruit. They say the hanging a bunch of tinfoil, like pie plates around the cabbage scares away the white moths. That’s going to be a winter project to set that up for next year. Have any of you in the west grown yaupon holly? It’s supposed to be the only natural source of caffeine that you can grow in the USSA but it might be more of a southeast thing.

    Hi JHK Admin,
“Germany’s green sector is a “bust”? How so?
    Two thoughts:
    1. It might actually be allowing Germany to stand up to the USSR, I mean Russia. Diversifying energy demand is part of a sensible national security strategy, if you don’t want to be a door mat for an historically aggrandising power like Russia..
    2. That Germany will take a hit because of its policy towards Russia is a given. Germans will be lowering their standards of living to support this. That is what uncompensated inflation and lower aggregate supply does.

And that is what has to happen if we are going to have any shot of coming out the other end of what you call the “Long Emergency.” Your series of books is ONE possible future. But it can be a lot worse than that if the chaos ratchets up–a chaos that Russia and ex-President Trump helped to worsen. The Long Emergency is shorthand for LOWER STANDARDS OF LIVING. People are NOT inclined to accept that reality. I have no idea if you have read Octavia Butler’s two Sower books, but they offer a glimpse into a very possible future in this country.

        Hi Rhett Dawson,
I think the question you are asking is “Who started it first”? That part of Europe has always had contestation…

    • Anthea July 23, 2022 at 1:30 pm #

      @ hustled enough:

Green energy does not and cannot work to provide energy needs for a standard of living much above that of the mid-1800s. It will not support modern manufacturing methods. Also, it’s not really “green,” as the inputs required to manufacture it require fossil fuels for their mining and manufacture. Green energy is basically a big con. Karl Denninger has broken this down repeatedly on his blog. Germany is providing us with an object lesson to illustrate these facts.

      1. There is no reason why Germany and Russia cannt engage in mutually beneficial trade relations. There is nothing for Germany to “stand up to Russia” about. What? Ukraine?

      2. Germans will be freezing and starving and largely shutting down their economy. I guess this is to keep the Ukrainian money laundry in operation for the likes of Biden and Pelosi–which, of course, benefits Germany not at all. What would benefit Germany would be amicable trade relations with Russia. There is nothing to prevent this at all, other than their being forced to support the US/NATO aggression against Russia (and ethnic Russians in Ukraine) that compelled her to take defensive actions in response–entirely as a matter existential need.

But we see that you are, as always, uninformed about both green energy and the conflict in Ukraine. One assumes that you are willfully uninformed, since it’s hard to see any other possibility other than willful lying.

Diversifying energy supply (I think you meant supply) is normally part of a sensible national security strategy. I would agree with that. So I had no quibble with Germany adding Russian gas to their energy plan. The problem is that is not all that they did. They made commitments and took action to close down their domestic nuclear plants as well as some of their coal gasification plants. Those actions IN TOTAL do not improve their national security. Those actions in total make Germany FAR MORE reliant on Russia for their energy. They aren’t even four years into this new plan and its blown up in their faces literally.

It was a terrible idea because it did not actually diversify their energy supply. It put more of their eggs in one basket; a basket which belongs to an energy supplier who has in the past shown willingness for shutting the gas off in the middle of winter.

    The revenge of Carthage

    The return of Baal.

    • jim e July 22, 2022 at 8:15 pm #

“In the earlier days of Hebrew history the title Baal, or “Lord,” was applied to the national God of Israel, a usage which was revived in later times, and is familiar to us in the King James Version. Hence both Jonathan and David had sons called Merib-baal (1 Ch 8:31; 9:40) and Beeliada (1 Ch 14:7).” WIKI

        >jim e
thank you for that biblical lore.

        more generally,

Baal (also given as Ba’al) is a Canaanite-Phoenician god of fertility and weather, specifically rainstorms. The name was also used as a title, however, meaning “Lord” and was applied to a number of different deities throughout the ancient Near East. Baal is best known today from the Bible as the antagonist of the Israelite cult of Yahweh.

my link to carthage was to indicate the phoenician god of human sacrifice, particularly of children.

which worship was the distinctive feature of carthage, and tyre (which alexander took extraordinary pains to destroy-) and a number of other mediterranean colonies of the sea people. i consider that the jews were not formed as a people until they stood against baal worship, likewise the romans.

the western technocrats are bringing back mass human sacrifice in many guises.

the great poisonings of air, soil, water, blood and frequencies are the landmarks of our passing.

        • Anthea July 23, 2022 at 1:41 pm #

The book of Hosea presents an interesting exegesis on the word “Baal” in terms of its meaning of “Lord”: “She shall call me “My husband,” and never again “My baal.” That is, she shall speak of God in terms of endearment rather than as her lord or ruler.

This suggests to me that the relationship with God is one of mutual love, in contrast to the relationship with the State, which is one of domination and violence. Of course this is very narrow and one-dimensional interpretation of Hosea. There is much more depth to this.

Nevertheless there is some very solid scriptural opposition to Statism–e.g., when the people demanded to have a king over them and were warned against this. Having a king or State structure is in direct violation of the scripture, as one must choose whether their loyalty is to God or to Baal. You can’t have it both ways.

          • niner July 23, 2022 at 7:00 pm #

            >Anthea, nice exegesis and direct application to our predicament. at least we have the moral direction, if sorely lacking in an action plan.

“Global unity is a mirage, along with all the preposterous narratives of a world government. And in every country for itself, it’s going to be every community, every family, every person for itself until, emergently and painfully, everyday life can be reorganized from the ground up. People, get Ready.”

Jim, it appears that you cannot see the forest for the trees. It is the chaos from “every country for itself” that will result in “everyday life [being] reorganized from the ground up” so that we may finally have “[g]lobal unity” and “a world government.”

There is a method to their madness.

If we had always been like we are now – not for our ourselves as a People – we would have never gotten this far. Obviously we’ve been corrupted. Capitalism per se, in and of itself, cannot be the ruling ethos of a nation. The old Puritan ideal of a commonwealth was far sounder. And within that, some would have more or less, some far more or far less.

Are you Gentlemen implying that native white Europeans and Muslim/African migrants will be battling it out for hegemony inside the heart of Europe in the near future? Well, the African/Muslim terror cells and criminal gangs inside Europe will be well armed, equipped with the hundreds of tons of ordnance abandoned by the US in Afghanistan, and $60 billion of armaments shipped to Ukraine and quickly sold on the dark web by corrupt pols and army officers. The little pissant Euro weenie armys and police departments won’t stand a chance.

Civilization is a faux remedy (placebo or nocebo, does it really matter?) to a God that, seemingly, do not provide.
A question then arises: will we ever have enough?

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust:
    Cosmic debris…
Universal mortar (binding shadow & light)

Living: to reinforce the self or to learn to make do without.
We all know where this is heading; remembering is the adventurous and, to some, the courageous part.

Only the VERY wealthy can “be ready” for what is coming (only they can buy water, food, housing, medical, etc. etc. at ANY price: the “money is no object” class). The rest of us 90% are going to experience misery and suffering over the next few decades. At age 70, this is not the way my wife and I thought that we’d be living our “golden years”.

We are no considering going full-time mobile in a comfortable RV (despite fuel costs being high). We’d be fabian re local and federal government, and be able to move quickly whenever needed, get out of hotspots of civil unrest or crime, go where there is clean water, go to the choice areas of farming in the country in order to buy produce and meat directly from farmers, visit family and friends, find safe spaces to hunker down, etc.

    • cowbell81 July 22, 2022 at 1:37 pm #

This is why the mega-rich and oligarchs have hundred-million dollar 300 foot yachts. The mobile RV is akin to the middle and lower class what the mega-yacht is to the upper crust plutocrats. They use them for the exact same reason that you cite for RV life.

Hey 81, I just read, by chance, a very thoroughly-researched and amusing essay in The New Yorker on the yacht business, which happens to be a roaring success at the moment, worldwide.

The owner of one of these behemoths is the master of his realm, an absolute ruler in a way he (always “he”, it seems) could never be on land. Until, of course, there is no safe port to take refuge in, or no one wants to accept his funny money, or – heaven forbid – he is targeted by well-kitted-out pirates, brimming with “war surplus” weaponry, on the high seas.

      • Mac July 24, 2022 at 10:17 am #

    • crudgemudgeon July 22, 2022 at 2:49 pm #

amb, that’s the worst possible idea, unless you have no home. I’m 70 also and have seen people “invest” in RVs, sailboats too. They’re just money pits. They only depreciate, unlike real estate.
Pay farmers for food? With what? Pay for gas with what? Dollars? If things are so bad we can’t get food to markets, how are you going to drive a gas hog to where the food is? Please reconsider. Have you ever wondered about all those mostly derelict RVs in Seattle and elsewhere? I bet some of them were sold with pipedreams like yours. No offense, but it doesn’t seem sustainable in the original sense of the word.

      • amb July 22, 2022 at 3:27 pm #

I’m not offended crudge… I welcome feedback or arguments all the time. That’s how I grow and learn.

A home or rental is a money pit too, are they not?
I would buy a used RV for cash at an auction, to limit the depreciation (and depreciation would just be a part of the scenario for RV living).
We’d pay for food, gas, etc. with whatever the currency is (we both have businesses that earn income, and could start others as well).
Contrary to others, I believe the USD will still be around longer than most expect.

        • cowbell81 July 22, 2022 at 3:35 pm #

Just make sure you have plenty of spare tires/parts to repair the RV when it breaks down, and there will be mechanical issues. Know how to do it yourself or how to jerry rig the thing. Lord knows there will likely not be spare replacement and repair parts in the apocalyptic scenario we are facing.

Also, make sure you at least have some guns and ammo tucked away in the vehicle for protection of person and property!

Gotta agree with crudge on the RV – the Days of Happy Motoring are over. The cost of fuel will keep going up, probably with new taxes and fines just over the horizon.

Don’t agree about the sailboat. The wind is free (for now…) and the ocean is a big place – with food floating around in it. A broken mast could be a problem, but if your mast is broken, you probably got rolled by a hurricane and so you’re dead anyway.

A cabin in the woods – yes, for as long as you can hold onto it. Time to pay property tax? And you don’t have “the Mark”? Time to hop on that sailboat. Take off from the Keys and you just might reach Cuba before the drone reaches you.

I’ve been thinking a lot about a used travel trailer, nothing with a motor. there will be plenty of trucks around for hire, if you need to move the TT. mostly as a good useful alternative for cash in bank. and extra habitation. i have a place to park it on my lot, and worse comes i could supply electric, maybe water/grey water. use the house for showers, if there is still city water.

if it goes sideways, i could rent the house and live in the TT or visa-versa. and if times get really tough, the TT could be a home to someone who could be a big help with the garden, protecting the place, maintenance, etc.
best to get a small electric bike/scooter for running errands, shopping, etc. electricity at least daily for a few hours, seems to be available when cities are breaking down elsewhere. water is tough, but w/a scooter, you could pack in at least 5 gals. every trip.

i’d really just like to rest and read and let it happen, but we are not supposed to go gently into that good night.

        • Anthea July 23, 2022 at 3:02 am #

I think the things that will be really critical for survival will be a piece of land and a family/community. The “piece of land” will be for parking the RV, as it will be hard to do anything productive with land if you’re in you’re 70s.

Do you have family? Do you have connections with a rural community somewhere? Are your businesses of a kind that will make you valuable to a rural community? Rural people will take care of their own. You don’t want to be a stranger who is just passing through.

Maybe the USD will be around for awhile–or maybe not. Maybe gas and food will be affordable for some time to come–or maybe not.

My feeling–and I could easily be wrong–is that it would be wise to stockpile food. An RV doesn’t have the storage space to do that. It looks like food could get hard-to-come-by for any amount of money.

      • BackRowHeckler July 22, 2022 at 4:19 pm #

My uncle bought one of those RV behemoths; thing got about 6 miles per gallon and it cost $1000 to fill it up — and that was when gas was cheap. One thing he said, he could never get used to backing it up.

        • Disaffected July 22, 2022 at 5:48 pm #

Can’t imagine trying to drive one of those behemoths. Must be like steering an oil tanker. We’ve got a guy up here with a **Mercedes** RV (GIGANTIC grill emblem!) complete with a matching Mercedes trailer to tow behind it. Can’t imagine spending that much for something no reasonable person is going to use more than once a year, other than for conspicuous consumption purposes. I’m surprised he doesn’t rent it out as a sleeper, what with the real estate prices gone berserk up here.

amb: At age 70, it may be better to live your next 10-15 years with joy and not worry.

For context: go back to the discussion boards on this site 10 years ago. The consensus was, the world is doomed and imminently!

You would have had 10 years of no stock market returns for yourself (and the Dow has more than doubled since July 2012), and you have lots of worry….and been worse off today than if you had not worried.

We can all be wrong, and at age 70, too much worry is probably worse than maybe “the fear is right” and you risk coming to a bad end at age 80.

The older I get — the less I worry about protecting me and my kin folk – because as they get older and take their own precautions (or not), it’s their turn to carry their portion of worry (or not).

    • MaryQueen July 22, 2022 at 8:33 pm #

Poison Hemlock or Queen Anne’s Lace? How to Tell
Aug 9, 2021Not only is the plant extremely dangerous, but it’s also easily mistaken for a nontoxic look-alike: Queen Anne’s Lace. Both species belong to the same family as carrots, celery, and parsley. These familiar plants have similar features, and Queen Anne’s Lace is even known as “wild carrot” for its edible roots.

            Belladonna is another good one.

From Maude Grieve’s “A Modern Herbal”:

“Belladonna is supposed to have been the plant that poisoned the troops of Marcus Antonius during the Parthian wars. Plutarch gives a graphic account of the strange effects that followed its use.

“Buchanan relates in his History of Scotland (1582) a tradition that when Duncan I was King of Scotland, the soldiers of Macbeth poisoned a whole army of invading Danes by a liquor mixed with an infusion of Dwale supplied to them during a truce. Suspecting nothing, the invaders drank deeply and were easily overpowered and murdered in their sleep by the Scots….

“The sleeping potion of Juliet was a preparation from this plant [Atropa mandragora, a different species of the sme plant] – perhaps also the Mandrake wine of the Ancients. It was called Circaeon, being the wine of Circe.”

You might want to keep a tincture of belladonna around, so you can give your enemies poison hooch.

“An epic crackup is upon us. Every place in the world is primed for meltdown.. it’s going to be every country for itself.. And in every country for itself, it’s going to be every community, every family, every person for itself…”

We human beings do certain things (almost everything) because somehow it is in our best interest to do so. Or so we believe.

Partnerships are forged when two parties find some kind of common ground where both sides feel they can benefit. This is true of personal relationships, the business world, Nation-States, anywhere there are similar groups seeking similar outcomes.

But when conditions change and people and larger groups no longer can benefit from whatever it was they were doing… things change very quickly. And so this is with Partnerships, contracts, agreements, alliances. People make sure they have to ‘Get Theirs’ no matter what.

Somehow deep within flawed human nature is the notion that cooperation is for fools. That by seeking consensus and looking out not only for oneself but for others is somehow sacrificing something and thus a bad course of action.

In other words… Selfishness rules. So it is within personal social interactions. So it is with posturing among Corporations and Nations. ‘Me-Me-Me!’… Forever and always.

But this is a fools journey. Fools gold. A mirage. A road to nowhere.

The wisest course of action is to find a way where everyone benefits. Where no one is trying to game the system. Where no one is trying to ‘get over’ or con or take advantage of or abuse someone else. Because what happens when someone feels they are being abused? They get mad. They get defensive. They look to get even. Things break down. Bad things result. Rushing further down the wrong path. And any sense of cooperation and mutual benefit is thoroughly destroyed.

How can I truly benefit if my advantage comes at the expense and harm to another? Yes, there are many who can easily live with this ‘abomination’ thinking. But it’s a fools victory. This is adolescent Me-ism taken to extreme and codified into default conduct. This is installing a badly flawed program as the main operating system in one’s mental and spiritual computer mainframe.

This is not an endorsement for some kind of deeply dark and evil One World Order of contrived happiness and faux joy. That is the opposite of what is needed here.

But what is needed is for all corners of the Globe to rediscover themselves and celebrate themselves as the unique cultures that they are and build upon that heritage and pride. And when that pride has been restored and identities are rediscovered and celebrated…
only then can parties reach out to each other to find real and honest cooperation that will benefit all sides.

This is not some naïve notion. This is the path forward. The only one that will preserve a badly fractured and hurting Planet and make it place for humans beings to live and thrive in.

Sure, things could just go on devolving into complete chaos with some kind of vague hope for a rebuild. But do we really want to risk that? Go into the kitchen and shatter all the dished and then hope that somehow the kitchen will get cleaned up and restocked with new, pretty dishware? And a nanny to wash our dirty plates?

No, there is no such Superman with that kind of power and wisdom. We have quit looking outside ourselves and rediscover our own identity and humanity. And with that, a spirit of cooperation with others that will benefit all parties and not just a chosen few.

All that selfishness and broken-ness just leads to is more… selfishness and broken-ness. We’ve all had far too much of that crap already.

We have arrived at the point in Human History where old ways no longer work at all. We will venture into New Grounds… or not have a future at all.

    • Soul Forensics July 22, 2022 at 3:11 pm #

“The wisest course of action is to find a way where everyone benefits. Where no one is trying to game the system. Where no one is trying to ‘get over’ or con or take advantage of or abuse someone else.”

Humans are selfish and greedy and fearful.

In a post Peak Oil world, resources declining and world pop still rising, it’s inevitable and obvious that human selfishness will ramp up.

There is no escape or positive resolution in the short- to mid-term.

Look after yourself and family, align with a few trusted neighbours, and hunker down. Large-scale spiritual transformational approaches are just impotent fantasies, always were.

“Large-scale spiritual transformational approaches are just impotent fantasies, always were.”

Because they’re based on the viewpoint of a Source, of Someone In Charge.

This is a thoroughly natural primate outlook, suitable for dealing with arboreal and familial politics, but it is the philosophy of a child. Deep-rooted, that is, akin to instinct, learned before one can speak.

I would ask the ancient sages, then, what is the source of the ocean?
        The original cup of water?

The alternate viewpoint, a natural atheism, leaves one seeing only Process. No Someone In Charge.

That has its drawbacks; one is much less adept at reading the social tea leaves or joining, usually an outlier.

I call the difference in wiring “Apple iPhone versus Android phone.” Both have software that won’t translate, yet both work.

Also note that each others’ viewpoint seems utterly illogical to the opposite party.

For example, “How can something come from nothing?!” versus “so then, your God made you to burn you in Hell?!”

        • Alzaebo July 23, 2022 at 5:19 am #

          PS- whew! Didn’t post.

‘Universe’ aka The Quantum Energy Matrix gives everyone what they want on the subject of God or no God.

For believers in a Divine Source… this is a personal (human) recognition of the Intelligence that creates and sustains the very energy matrix that we all are a part of.

For those who choose not to believe in a Divinity for whatever reason… ‘Universe’ gives you that, too. You can live your life without acknowledging a Divine Intelligence behind the energy matrix and that same Divinity allows you that and is not ‘offended’. Being ‘offended’ is just a base-level human emotion that deifies one’s personal biases above all others and allows one to wallow in self indulgence.

How can ‘Something come from Nothing?’ Because there was never… ‘nothing’. Whether one wants to believe that the Energy Matrix has always been around… or whether there was no energy Matrix until Divine Intelligence created it… either way there was never… nothing.

People choose what works for their mentality and life experience. And that Divine Intelligence is fine with that… as the Intelligent Sum of All Potentials as quantum physics teaches.

And some of us have life experiences (aka ‘Revelation’?) that has fully answered this eternal question for us forever.

There would have been no United States without the “Great Awakening” and what Adams called, “the Black Brigade” – the ministers of that Awakening. They didn’t create the Grace, but only helped to channel it.

As the Neo-Traditionalists say, every Revelation is a Divine Tide. The religions are the pools that are left once the Tide goes out. The sun of time begins to dry up the pools, but they are partly replenished from time to time but smaller influxes such as the Great Awakening.

Even solitary spiritual practice depends on grace, ultimately.

That is what Russia and China say they are working towards, Roundball, a win/win cooperation between countries, while respecting each country’s heritage and customs.
Do they mean it? I don’t know, but I do know that open looting and murdering causes resentment among the victims.
The victims of 70 years of US imperialism seem to be receptive to the ideal of a global cooperative community of sovereign nations.
We’ll see how it works out.

      • thirdcoastlegend July 22, 2022 at 4:47 pm #

Eh, there was a good column at Unlimited Hangout that argued Russia is simply implementing its own version of the 4th Industrial Revolution.

It’s hard to discount it because the author had a myriad of links to source documents.

        • Disaffected July 22, 2022 at 5:42 pm #

Well, seeing as the west is rapidly deindustrializing as we speak, that probably makes a whole lot of sense. As long as humans remain a going concern, somebody’s going to have to make something. To me it reads as China and Russia are preparing to go their own way, all at the behest of the west, of course. It’ll be a bipolar world until the west finally collapses altogether, at which time EurAsia will be willing to forgive and forget. Or not.

        • MaryQueen July 22, 2022 at 8:26 pm #

I’m pretty sure that “myriad” should be used like the word “many” – so “because the author had myriad links” would be correct.

The only reason I’m acting like Q Schtick is because I have seen “myriad” misused so many times in the past 24 hours that now it’s starting to rankle.

Please, CFN grammarians, correct me if I’m wrong.

Thanks, Slugoon – that is actually another pet peeve of mine.

How did “I couldn’t care less” morph into “I could care less”?

            Yet it did.

          • Blackbird July 23, 2022 at 12:08 am #

            Yes, thank you Slugger.

I have tried to explain that “I could care less” actually means the opposite of what the dimwit is trying to say. In return, I get the look I get when I try to explain something like Obama bailing out the bankers at the expense of the taxpayers – but thankfully without the “Uh uh uh… But Trump!!!”

Ya cut down one Stick, and a dozen others rise in its place.

          • GreenAlba July 23, 2022 at 8:02 am #

David Mitchell explains it very well for your uncomprehending friends.

Now can we deal with ‘nukular’?! It’s not just George W. – Patrick Henningsen says it regularly. The chat box folks on UKC like him, so they generally say nothing, although I’ve seen it pointed out at least once by a frustrated regular. 🙂

But it’s not all Americans. My main beef with the English is the ‘intrusive R’, as in ‘draw-r-ing’ and ‘law-r-an’ order’. I feel if people can manage ‘snowing’ or hoeing’, they should be able to manage ‘drawing’, but even posh people from private schools are not immune to it.

How did freedom become slavery? Or “green energy” come to mean cutting down trees? Well actually that does make a bit of sense but in the totally opposite way.

If one goes far enough East, one will find oneself in the West. Reality is circular…..

The trick is to get oneself on a higher plane. Thus National Socialism is not left, right or the middle between them, but on a different line altogether. As such, it is free to partake of all of these systems without being defined by any of them. It is about Man, not matter or making money.

        • Paula D July 23, 2022 at 3:13 pm #

Well, thirdcoast, that is why I said we’ll see.
The vaccine thing gives me pause.
I’m just saying that Russia and China officially state that they are for a multi-polar, law-abiding world in which every country keeps their own customs and they all cooperate in prosperity for everyone.
The US says that they want a US-dominated world in which the US makes the rules and everyone else obeys or dies. And the rules include using preferred pronouns and teaching kindergarteners about gay sex.
I can see why people prefer the former.
On the other hand, what kind of prosperity? A world in which everyone has food and shelter is probably doable, but not one in which everyone has a car and flies to Cancun for vacation.
Also, not one in which millions of people live in the desert and demand water and air conditioning.
          It’s just not possible.

        • Alzaebo July 24, 2022 at 10:50 am #

Thanks, Thirdcoast, Whitney Webb makes a very compelling case that Putin and Xi are both on board the 4th Industrial Revolution, and angling to be major stakeholders.

The system must break and it has actually. It was designed by the west for the west and it went berserk in 2001. The new “system” “appears” to be even worse with climate change engineering, WEF, clot shot programs and digi-control ideas.

With Russia’s SMO, a great deal is now overtly at stake. Do they want a war with Russia or China? Do they think they might win? Will the Classical world blame the victims or duly blame the western Governments for the clot shot / Isolation programs?

        • JohnAZ July 23, 2022 at 12:20 pm #

          You make a good point.

Will the US and the West give up their “King of the Mountain” position to the BRICS, plus the Middle East, conglomerate?

How far will they go to preserve the status quo? Nukes?

A big decision point may be here in the next couple of winters. How long will our “faithful” followers in Europe stick with us with no resources from Russia?

In every way possible, I see a poor future for the US.

          • Amman July 23, 2022 at 4:17 pm #

At some pain point, LOL(?), the West Europeans might cry Uncle and declare we are Europeans first and Americans second… something like that. Right now, the owners of America are concerned about the fact their world domination is in danger and that there is no way out of the current situation.

I’ve somehow managed to stay open-minded about what the future might be tho. Despite the worst scenarios, I see it’s better that way.

    • cowbell81 July 22, 2022 at 5:07 pm #

Thanks for the suggestion, but we’ll just leave up to Mr. K the standards and prerogatives that lead to banning.

As for your Mel Gibson for POTUS suggestion, well at least he can see right though the Rhodes Scholarship, stating that it was established for young men and women who want to strive for a “new world order” and this was a campaign for Marxism.

Mel also said, and I quote: “The whole notion of politics is they always present you with this or this or this. I’ll get a newspaper to read between the lines. Why do you have to adhere to prescribed formulas that they have and people argue over them and they’re all in a box. And you watch Fox claw CNN, and CNN claw Fox. Sometimes I catch a piece of the news and it seems insanity to me. I quietly support candidates. I’m not out there banging a drum for candidates. But I have supported a candidate and it’s a whole other world. Once you’ve been exposed to it, once or twice or however many times, if you know the facts and see how they’re presented, it’s mind-boggling. It’s a very scary arena to be in, but I do vote. I go in there and pull the lever. It’s kind of like pulling the lever and watching the trap door fall out from beneath you. Why should we trust any of these people? None of them ever deliver on anything. It’s always disappointing.”

Odd they went after Bannon for the exact “offense” Eric Holder was accused of yet nothing ever happened to that massive POS.

Where is the equal protection under the law?
Seems Democrats get away with near murder and nothing ever happens to them even when they are obviously guilty.

Further proof for just how far this country has fallen.

      • JohnAZ July 23, 2022 at 12:07 pm #

The WEF and its soldiers, the Deep State have cornered the power market at the federal level and much of the state level. Fifty years of chipping away the balanced political scene in the country and replacing it with a rubber stamp Liberal nightmare.

You have stated it well. Where is the equal protection under the law?

Simple, it no longer exists. The whole anti-Deplorable movement in the country is shifting into second gear in the country as Trump is systematically being destroyed. The Uniparty is imminent.

Everyone on this blog that voted for Biden because they did not like the brazen personality of Trump has helped the progress of the Uniparty globalist Left movement of the country.

Benr & JohnAZ – you’re both catastrophizing again. Bannon will get whatever he deserves…no, actually, he won’t.

been revelatory. No doubt, the response He should be strung up for treason, along with ex-President ‘Brash Personality’ for the behaviour displayed from about June 2020 until…right up till yesterday.

The J6 Committee presentations of evidence and witnesses (overwhelmingly Republican and Trump-loyalists, please note) has been revelatory.

I can predict the responses to that remark from the Criterati, but challenge anyone deriding the J6 Hearings without having watched them, “Why won’t you? What are you afraid of?”

I noticed Tusconspur watched (and remarked upon) some of the proceedings a few weeks back, and he could see just how damning the evidence is. Since then, he’s been virtually shut down by the same “mob” of vocal rabbit holers, who still thinks the sun shines out of Trump’s arse,

Very odd that Trump signed a bill to fund and authorize the deployment of up to 15k national guard for January 6 but the Capitol police decided they would not be needed since no Trump rally had ever had TRUMP PARTICIPANTS ENGAGE in VIOLENCE.

The Antifa and BLM types had shown up and acted out like petulant spoiled children.

And to answer your question something you NEVER honestly do by the way!

Why am I going to watch a communist party style inquisition from people with an obvious bias?
There was no opposing viewpoint allowed.
This is a pure guilty until proven innocent style of nonsense with people who have actively gone after Trump already using lies as a justification to overthrow a duly elected President twice!
Why are there no hearings to get to the truth of the proven fraud wracked steel dossier?
Where it came from, who funded it and why it was used to illegally wiretap an opposition party front runner!
Why is the FBI director who had a three-year investigation into Trump not on the hot seat?

Why are you so obtuse you believe every lie about Trump but won’t accept that Biden is literally the grifting POS you believe Trump is and all the mud slung at Trump rightfully splatters ALL over Biden and most Democrats.

I answered your question now answer mine yes or no is Biden fit to be resident in the Whitehouse.

          • benr July 23, 2022 at 8:16 pm #

            Or in Bannons words!

“As you can tell, the Democrats are completely lawless and look how they’ve run this committee,” Bannon said, before he said, “There is no ranking member. There’s no minority counsel. It’s not like the traditional hearings that have galvanized the nation in the past.”

Bannon was referencing the Jan. 6 Committee, which was hand-selected by Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The California Democrat also, in an unprecedented manner, refused to allow Republicans to seat their own members, which led House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and other members to declare the panel a politicized sham.

“We need a commission or committee on Jan. 6,” Bannon continued. “It’s got to be with the new Congress, with the Republicans in charge. We’ve got to get to the bottom of the intelligence failures, FBI involvement, DHS involvement, the intelligence services.”

“We’ve got to get to the bottom of it,” he added.

Why won’t you? What are you afraid of?‘ Wow. This from the Rednecked Ostrich who won’t listen to any scientist or doctor telling the truth about covid. Won’t listen to anyone who’s not paid for what they say. Won’t listen to anyone who has been smeared, censored, unaffiliated, sacked or had their medical licence removed for telling the truth. Or who, in the case of Dr Meryl Nass, was ordered to undergo psychiatric assessment, in brazen USSR fashion, for promoting Ivermectin, a proven remedy for covid (see Dr Chetty below, but also Dr Pierre Kory). Or Dr Sam White, the English GP who was also suspended and also told to undergo psychiatric assessment for speaking against the government narrative. The Rednecked Ostrich thinks the lunatic asylum for dissidents is a proper way to run a society.

I still await your scientific rebuttal of Dr Chetty’s account of his treatment of 7000 covid patients, without losing a single one to hospitalisation, death, or even long covid. There are no overwrought hospital staff or stretched wards on Dr Chetty’s account.

In your own time, Os, but don’t leave it too long, for your own credibility. It’s only half and hour.

If you can cope with that without your psyche imploding, there are 30-odd hours of Reiner Fuellmich’s Grand Jury investigation waiting for you to er … debunk.

    Another winner, James, thank you!

“Of course, Europe is suddenly a magnificent mess with governments falling like duck pins, industry shuttered from lack of fuel, and citizens rising up against insane WEF diktats to drastically reduce livestock and shut down farming”

And to think all this insanity – “climate change” – began with one simple and terrifying fearporn movie crafted by Al Gore, yet another WEF puppet.

Yes, I remember being horrified by “An Inconvenient Truth” was crafted to appeal to the liberals, which I was back then. I spent incredulous years wondering why NOTHING was being done, if this was such a catastrophic emergency? Wasn’t Al Fore one of THEM? THe people with the power? So why did we still use plastic bags? And larger cars??

Then I saw that not less but MORE plastic was being used to encase everything we bought, and Al Gore flew around in a private jet with all the other muckety mucks with myriad mansions, and then they started populating the shorelines that they told US would be under water by now.

None of the predictions in the fearmonger movie came true. There is definitely man-made destruction in many places and I think the droughts in the western US are largely because of populations not where they should be and bad engineering, etc. The usual reasons we create massive ecological catastrophes such as The Dust Bowl. But that ain’t climate change. And the answer is NOT forcing everyone to eat bugs.

“Not all is lost. Even on the Energy, Medical and Economic side. Earth is still a cosmic and far-out place where the shock of the new and good, e.g. the Unknown, can alter everything and start a golden Age.” – HEAVEN AND EARTH

      • Woodchuck July 23, 2022 at 1:43 am #

Or perhaps earth is a cosmic dumping ground for souls and spirits so foul that the rest of the universe wants no part of anything going on here. No more than a tourist would travel for thousands of miles just to go visit a big city landfill and to go hiking and have a picnic. Stuck here with a bunch of fallen angels running around all over the place whispering at us through tv. If you’ve watched the movie “They Live” – it’s possible to entertain silly fantasies like this.

Golden Ages are hard to come by and often short lived. Tombstone Az maybe had a ten year golden age before the mines ran out. Once our oil wells run out, just as the old silver mines ran out – our petroleum age will be finished. We’ll be using gasoline not for powering automobiles but for chainsaws, rototillers etc. Nat gas will be around longer than oil, but it too will run out and we will be back to using coal and wood for firing steam engines.

        • Amman July 23, 2022 at 5:37 am #

That’s probably what makes them Golden – that they’re hard to come by. The point is that as long as they are still possible on this planet and alive in people’s minds, bad guys, bad ideas and bad futures can expect stiff resistance.

Golden Age Energy, Medicine and Economy is the kind of “amazing stuff” the world will not believe. So wait for it. I am waiting too.

        • JohnAZ July 23, 2022 at 11:51 am #

          Interesting insight!

The frightful part is that when mines ran out, most of the towns than built up became ghost towns. If Wyatt Earp had not shot up the Clinton’s in Tombstone, there would be no Tombstone today.

Point is, in the past, when the ore ran out, people moved on to greener pastures.

When the oil and gas run out, there are no greener pastures. What will happen when the homeless start outnumbering everyone else.

The biggest joke is UBI. The government is going to bail us out by printing money and giving it to us to make us more aesthetic.

This is Modern Money policy which the Deep State is trying to run the country with today. Probably because they have no choice.

If California is any indication, UBI will never be the solution for homeless idleness as it just keeps growing. Pretty soon, there will be no areas or shelters to move them to, then what?

Want a really good indicator of how foolish the Left side stupidity of this country has drifted? Newsom is being seriously considered for the Democratic presidential candidate to replace Biden. I gues the people want him to destroy the USA like he has California.

A question? If he became president, would the US start emigrating expats like California has? Would the border go into reverse? Or would it be a capital and brain drain only?

          • JohnAZ July 23, 2022 at 11:53 am #

I made it a point to know as little as possible about that person and what he thinks. Border in reverse seems unlikely and capital and brain drain in the USA seems unthinkable. Who knows?

There is a war in mainland Europe though which is a huge change. I think West Europe is what the world is looking at now, and afterwards, the US.

I went to Catholic school for a number of years, even though my family was Protestant. I took catechism class and church history as an option, I was interested in those subjects. Still am, so once again I googled the Fatima story after seeing the topic appear in this forum. I’ve never understood how Russia could play a role in the story until now. Russia has always had difficulty with the Vatican because the country is Eastern Orthodox. Has been for a thousand years since Vladimir Rus founded Russia. Mr. Rus was Greek or Eastern Orthodox, and he was influenced by what was happening in Constantinople, not Rome, which had long since fallen due to internal corruption. The Eastern branch of the original monolithic Christian Church still had an emperor on board to communicate with. The Roman Empire was still very much alive in the East at that time. The Eastern Church has never had a pope, instead it has a council of patriarchs or archbishops who get together and make leadership decisions. The Eastern church is still unified, never having experienced a Reformation. The Russian Orthodox Church is now the state church for the largest nation on the planet – a nation possessing vast natural resources.

My prediction is the West experiences Dark Ages version 2.0, and Russia becomes a prosperous and healthy unified Christian nation. A country with no squabbling sects. Outside her borders will be the road warrior stuff going on and grinding poverty and ignorance. People everywhere will wish to become Russian citizens, but the Ruskies will be very finicky about who they let in.

        what about Fatima?

      • Paula D July 23, 2022 at 3:29 pm #

I am uninterested in religion, but I do note that the US attacked Orthodox Serbia in the 90s, Orthodox Syria in 2011, Orthodox Ukrainians in 2014 and is now attacking Orthodox Russians in Ukraine.
They are happy to back jihadist Muslims in Bosnia and Syria, and Nazi Catholics in Croatia and Ukraine, but they haven’t backed an Orthodox population yet.
And Fatima? Really? A saint shows up to attack Russia after their revolution?
        Another coincidence, right?

        • Sean Coleman July 23, 2022 at 4:27 pm #

In Two Hundred Years Together, about the troubled history of Russia’s Jews, Solzhenitsyn describes how the Orthodox Church was singled out for particular persecution by the Bolsheviks. The same people have long been in charge of the USb ut their ancestral hatred remains. It is dangerous to cross them. Germany, for example, risked obliteration after WW2 under the Morgenthau Plan.

    • Anthea July 23, 2022 at 3:21 am #

The Fatima apparitions occurred at a critical juncture in human history. I would say at a time when humanity was at a crossroads of choosing between good and evil. To me it seems like we are again at such a crossroads, and I do wish we’d have another Fatima to give us guidance.

But maybe we’ve already been told all we really need to know. Maybe I am just wishing for more predictions about the future–which is nothing but wishing for fortune-telling. We are not supposed to know the outcome of our choices; if we did, our choices would be based purely on self-interest instead of on what is right.

      • MaryQueen July 23, 2022 at 10:53 am #

From what I read, the Fatima stuff sounds like anti-Russian rhetoric of its time. Hilarious really, saying that the Pope or the RCC is the salvation and Russia is the evil.

Who’s the one jumping on the luciferian global 6uild 6ack 6etter Great Reset? Why that would be the Pope! He’s a WEF puppet of the highest order.

        • Jarek July 23, 2022 at 1:35 pm #

It was true at the time. Russia was Communist and did spread its evil. But now the opposite is true and the United States is the evil and Russia the relative good.

Of course few Catholics can keep up with this. I assume our Lady knows that what she said is no longer the case.

The Third Secret, as well as earlier Prophecies like La Sallette, speak of the utter corruption of the Church.

          • malthuss July 23, 2022 at 1:42 pm #

so thats why the 3rd prophecy is kept under wraps?

          • Jarek July 23, 2022 at 2:06 pm #

Yup. JP2, “It’s not for our time”. They were given exact instructions when to release it: In 1962 I believe. The Prophecy predicted “a bad council and a bad mass”. Released then, it might have prevented the atrocities of Vatican Two.

The Blessed Mother is fine. They used her as a booster to fill up the pews for generations. But when it came time to do what she said, they demurred.

I believed JP2 was a real Catholic who loved Christ and the Blessed Mother. Just not as much as the schemes of his brother bishops.

        • Anthea July 25, 2022 at 3:36 am #

          @ MaryQueen:

The Fatima apparitions occurred near the end of WWI, and thus at a time when Communism was in its early innings in Russia. Our Lady of Fatima promised the conversion of Russia if her requests were observed: “If my requests are granted, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If not, she will scatter her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecution of the Church.”

The Fatima materials were not anti-Russia, but anti-Communist. I think we can see that Communism has spread widely.

Many Catholics feel that the current pope is an imposter or anti-pope. He is widely detested. I think most traditional Catholics feel that the Church has been much undermined from within. The Church is very divided right now. I don’t know ANYONE who isn’t disgusted with Pope Francis.

Many of the churches around here are very traditional. I just attended a Latin mass yesterday evening. We decided to go to mass at one of the churches in town and were not expecting a Latin mass. I don’t keep up on these things, but my daughter tells me that the pope has more or less “outlawed” the Latin mass, so churches do not advertise them in advance, trying to keep under the radar. (Lotsa luck with that, knowing Catholics.) If I were to go by my local area, I’d say there is an immense movement towards more traditional Catholicism–and thus away from our current pope and all he stands for.

    • Anthea July 23, 2022 at 3:28 am #

I sometimes think that what we really need is an apparition of the BVM in which she requests special devotions for the conversion of the US, now that Russia has been converted.

      • anmariwakaranai July 23, 2022 at 2:39 pm #

Anthea, please see Our Lady of America, her words on line. Her shrine in DC.

    • Anthea July 23, 2022 at 10:30 am #

It’s worthwhile to remember that Our Lady has said several times that wars and other evils are the punishment for sins. I think it might be more precise to say they are the natural outcome of sin. And when Our Lady says that it is her son who administers these “punishments,” you have to remember that Jesus is the manifested Creation, so who else would administer natural outcomes? The Divine Creation does its work of purification, cleanses itself, prunes away its dead wood, and burns off the fields to clear the land of weeds. When the purification process is drastic, it’s because the place has become such a big ole mess that drastic measures are needed to restore health.

If you view things in that light, it is obvious that much of the US is in need of getting its clock cleaned.

Seems to me that’s just nature taking its course. I don’t really see anything divine in that.

        • JohnAZ July 23, 2022 at 11:32 am #

The machinations of nature are sin.

          Pecking order. Power

          Species protection. Ethnocentrism

          Ego protection. Pride

          Procreation Sexual abuse perversion

          Competition. Greed

          • Anthea July 25, 2022 at 4:12 am #

Nature and the natural world–the Creation–is Divine. It is literally “the body of Christ.” That is, Jesus as the third person of the Trinity IS the Creation. The chief attributes of the created world–birth, death, sex–are actually sacraments: baptism, the annoiting of the sick, and marriage. Holy Community shows us that food is itself sacramental.

We say that nature is “fallen” due to the Fall of Man. What this really means is that, as per quantum theory, the thing that is viewed is altered by the viewer. Humans see and encounter nature as “fallen,” because they view it through a perverted consciousness. The perverted consciousness leads to a lot of evil acts, and these have natural consequences. So, as MaryQueen observes, nature takes its course.

So, extrapolating from there, it seems reasonable to view the evils humans commit, per the Seven Deadly Sins, as injuries to the Body of Christ, the Creation, which is to say, to nature in its divinity.

Alan Watts wrote that much of the inwardness of Christianity was to point up the divinity and sacramental nature of ordinary life and nature itself. In taking communion, we acknowlege that the simple act of eating is sacramental.

        Conversely to Her statement

        • Anthea July 25, 2022 at 4:24 am #

I don’t think people generally understand the nature of pride and the Church’s insistence on humility correctly.

We humans are spiritual beings incarnated into a body which is essential a piece of machinery: body, emotional nature, and mind. Without the indwelling spirit, we would be nothing more than very sophisticated mechanical devices.

It’s worth noting that what is usually termed “the ego” or personality is analogous to a computer’s graphical user interface (GUI), such as Windows. It is the way the body-mind-emotional complex interfaces with the world. It’s really just part of “the machine.” It is not YOU–the indwelling spirit.

The emphasis on humility really means is that “the machine” part of our nature must be in absolute subjection to the indwelling spirit. We kneel before our divine nature.

Then there’s Night Owl, who thinks if we can just put the WEF in a cage, everything can roll on as before. Perpetualize the Reagan era, onwards and upwards.

        • Amman July 23, 2022 at 5:39 am #

But they do belong in a cage. With gah-gah gates as a leading specimen. And why as before? Why not better.

          Not just Night Owl!

        • BackRowHeckler July 23, 2022 at 1:57 pm #

Gus I think you are mischaracterizing Owl’s point.

Living in Germany Owl has a front row seat at the WEF Show, plus his day job gives him a special insight as to what those WEF skunks are up to. Also, I doubt if he is a Reaganite, as I read his posts and he’s never mentioned Reagan. Owl does reveal that he had been a Green Party member at some point in the past, or at least someone sympathetic to the GP platform. I for one appreciate Night Owl’s insights into the WEF and EU politics.

          • Night Owl July 23, 2022 at 2:34 pm #

My point went over his head long ago. Thus the repetition of the straw man.

One must fight problems in order of their importance.

Also, one must determine the true extent of a problem before one can fight it.

Overpopulation and peak oil/resource scarcity rank low on our list of problems right now, particularly when most of the people and organizations telling us to worry about overpopulation and peak oil have been caught red-handed lying at a rate that has long discredited any credibility they once might have had.

          • gustafson.robert.22 July 23, 2022 at 3:24 pm #

            @Night Owl,

This statement here is completely reasonable, and I agree with it.

Notice, you didn’t have to contest peak-oil or overpopulation as viable concepts to make it, as you have before, my only issue.

My point of view is that peak oil and overpopulation are very viable concepts, but yes, more distant priorities (depending on their total viability-picture, which is not complete). I believe the long-term perspective dealing with those issues intellectually brings is a necessary, or at least desireable component to dealing with more immediate priorities (WEF stuff).

I do think Night Owl has some closet Reaganishness, by which I mean pro-tech, pro-modern capitalist leanings. But I could handle that just fine as long as the “overpopulation and peak-energy are simply Great-Reset propaganda-myths” talk simmered down into something more reasoned .

          • Jarek July 23, 2022 at 3:48 pm #

BRH: Well he’s obviously not sympathetic with their platform anymore. Why he ever was is a mystery unless he’s changed radically. That they are were/are corporate stooges at the level of their leadership doesn’t completely explain it by any means.

      • JohnAZ July 23, 2022 at 11:25 am #

What happens when the global capital flow shifts from the West to the BRICS because they control the majority of resources?

Even if we had a great president, he/she would probably have like a 5% approval rating with the American public. The ruling class would hate the person even more and would probably just assassinate him/her. Any real solutions will need to derive from the fringe, or even come from further out on the drift.

Down to earth, one ‘fringe idea’ in Energy is room-temperature Hydrogen gas production scalable to any level, etc.

This means an individual at home can produce it and so can Industry at gargantuan levels in Industry.

It would put solar energy gimmicks entirely in the shade.

    • JohnAZ July 23, 2022 at 12:32 pm #

There is a serious undercurrent of this declaration.

Monkeypox is primarily a homosexual disease, like AIDS was.

Fox News & Newsmax Took Biden Money To Push Deadly COVID Vaccines To Its Viewers

Corporate news outlets did not disclose the money they took to push dangerous drugs to their conservative audience

“Two days ago, Chris Pandolfo at Blaze Media revealed that his media organization had filed FOIA requests regarding the Biden Administration’s covert funding of the deadly new vaccines and the American corporate media. What they discovered will certainly shock you — and it’s a crucial story that our corrupt media will work hard to make the least covered and least discussed news story of the year.

Fox News took the money and said nothing to its conservative viewers.

Newsmax took the money and said nothing to its conservative viewers.

‘In response to a FOIA request filed by TheBlaze, HHS revealed that it purchased advertising from major news networks including ABC, CBS, and NBC, as well as cable TV news stations Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC, legacy media publications including the New York Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post, digital media companies like BuzzFeed News and Newsmax, and hundreds of local newspapers and TV stations. These outlets were collectively responsible for publishing countless articles and video segments regarding the vaccine that were nearly uniformly positive about the vaccine in terms of both its efficacy and safety.’

That is the largest and most comprehensive breach of journalistic ethics that has ever occurred. Almost everybody took the money. Almost everybody lied about the vaccines (knowingly or unknowingly). Almost everybody refused to report anything negative about the vaccines — because they were paid to close their eyes. Almost everybody is implicated.”

I usually don’t post this much of an article but this one is big news. It’s also proof positive that the covid hoax was pushed on us through the media (which the smart folks up here already understand).

    • Jarek July 23, 2022 at 1:30 pm #

Who was it that said in the Kennedy book, “Money is stronger than truth.”?

For many people, truth is just a way to get money or is a weapon to be used strategically. If a lie can make more or is more effective, then they’ll go with the lie.

You often do this as well.

Tucker has to lie about how great Fox is in order to stay in good with them so he can tell much as much truth as people can bear.

      • benr July 23, 2022 at 2:51 pm #

Our truths are stronger than fact or reality.
        Or in Biden speak.
        We choose truth over facts.
Talk about the double speak of idiocy.

He stumbled a bit and told the actual truth by saying the Democrat narrative is not the truth at all but a belief system in spite of common sense and reality.

Just listen to the absolute bullshit coming out of the mouths of the DNC and their supporters.

        Idiocracy in real life.

        More projection. What a surprise.

You’ve been caught over and over attributing things people said to them that they didn’t say.

You continually do that to me and many of the female commenters here, no matter how many times you’re corrected. Which means you lie and manipulate.

        So like I said, projection.

        • Night Owl July 23, 2022 at 4:49 pm #

I don’t really consider Tucker part of Fox anymore. Were it not for his massive audience, they’d have let him go by now.

Like most of the clowns helping the Beast System operate, they play both sides to a point.

Why is HHS shilling for Big Pharma?
They are supposed to protect public health, not stand as a surrogate for Big Pharma.
Since the GMO and other drugs used for this “pandemic” are authorized under the EUA, not approved, it is illegal for Big Pharma to advertise.
So the government, media, NGOs and celebrities stepped in to shill instead.
I can see the drug companies paying off the media and others, but they should not be able to buy off government agencies. That should be illegal and prosecutions should ensue.

  64. Uncle Rick July 23, 2022 at 12:00 pm #

Close, James. Here’s what I see on the horizon:

Nothing before the mid-terms, as that would hurt their performance at the polls. Then, on November 9 or thereabouts, Kamala gets an offer she cannot refuse and resigns. This is because the puppet-masters of the Democrat Party realize that she would be, if anything, worse than “Joe Biden”. Then, before the new year, Hillary is sworn in as VP. She can, at her leisure and the opportune moment, invoke the 25th to move “Joe Biden” out of the Oval Office and realize her dream of becoming the first “female” President of the United States.

    Fumaris for the new plague….

Message from Our Lord Jesus Christ
My beloved people, receive My Blessing.

I bless your spiritual body, your physical body and all of your organs….
    I bless family ties…
I bless respect, unity and truth….
    I bless charity and honesty….
I bless the parents and the children…
    I bless every home…
I bless the mind and the thought….
I bless every word so that everything that comes to you and goes out from you may be for the good of the soul and for your salvation.

YOU ARE FREE MY CHILDREN, FREE TO SERVE IN MY VINEYARD, FREE TO LOVE ME AND TO LOVE MY MOST HOLY MOTHER. You have free will so that each one may decide whether or not to follow Me. Within that freedom, each one possesses the Gift of Discernment by which each one in particular knows that in order to stand firm in the spiritual life he must know the foundations that make the structure strong and firm.

I have stayed with My children to nourish them and to walk My Path; I have given them My Mother so that they may love Her and the Divine Aids so that they may not remain alone.

My children are recognized by their love for their neighbor, by their fraternity among themselves, that is the sign that they are My children. (Cf. Jn 13:35).

    My people:

THE SPIRITUAL BATTLE IS GETTING HOTTER, THE POWER OF EVIL HAS RELEASED ITS RIDER ON HUMANITY bringing the scourges of nature, famine, disease and the fall of the economy advancing from country to country, with the purpose of bringing forth wrath in My children so that they may be aggressors and thieves.

YOU CONTINUE NOT TO UNDERSTAND, MY BELOVED PEOPLE, THAT THE HUMAN CREATURE WHO LIVES FAR FROM ME IS PREY TO EVIL. Those who are weak in not receiving Me, those who do not amend their way of sin, of pride, of disobedience, of concupiscence, are in grave danger of falling prey to evil, of becoming the servants of evil and of condemning themselves.

Pride, the great evil of man, at this very moment is a great danger for the soul, because it opens the doors more than before to Satan.

Spiritual life My children is not static, you must constantly call upon Me so that I may work and act in and with you. I am not a stranger, “I am your God” (Ex 3:14) and I love you, I seek you in every way so that you may come to Me, I do not wish you to be lost.

Heed my calls, do not let them pass you by. If you would see how much you are approaching, you would change “ipso facto”, without hesitation. My People are hard and that is why they live such great trials.

A NEW VIRUS APPEARS… I call you to use the plant called Fumaria officinalis L. in its stems, flowers and leaves, marigold for the skin, and garlic (*).

Without fear trust in My Love for My People, I have already mentioned to you that humanity will change, the war expands.

My children, I warn you to come closer to Me and to initiate conversion. Invite Me to remain in you, so that you turn away from sin.

Each one of you is My great Treasure…. Call Me and do not separate yourselves from Me.

I love you, enter into My Heart.

    Your Jesus

Here it is folks, just as predicted, in JULY.

The Monkeypox hoax is kicking into high gear. This Twitter thread should tell you all you need to know about which ‘news’ outlets are 100% on board.

    Covid19 redux:

    • BackRowHeckler July 23, 2022 at 4:33 pm #

Monkeypox hysteria is all over the local media here, the lead story on every broadcast, the new Covid apparently. However, they undercut their own message to a certain extent; the only ‘Experts’ being interviewed are from the Gay Health Collective, and these Gentlemen are counseling ‘Safe Sex’ practices. It’s pretty clear then who’s getting Monkey pox, and how they’re getting it. One broadcast tried to tie Monkey Pox with Small Pox, but I doubt if anybody around here has any idea what smallpox was.

It’s a hot day, ’92° In The Shade’, (remember that Thomas McGuane novel) so ‘Climate Hysteria’ is being ramped up too — as if it’s never been hot in July before. Local activists are disappointed that President Biden didn’t declare a Climate Emergency last week. Yet a light breeze is blowing, and under this shade tree, with beer on ice and the ball game in the radio, it’s really quite pleasant.

      • Disaffected July 23, 2022 at 4:49 pm #

Here ya on the beer. Got a twelver plus of Sierra Nevada Pale Ales in the fridge awaiting workout completion and a minor degreaser cleanup job on the front porch. ‘The Joe Biden’s’ apparently “suffering” from symptoms that appear to be no more than a summertime cold or mild flu, but of course they’re labeling it ConVid. Ooooooohhhhhhhh! Seasonably hot up here as well, but nothing to get your panties in a twist over. Mid July, shit happens every year about this time.

And the fun house carnival rolls on… Where’s Pee Wee?

        • BackRowHeckler July 23, 2022 at 6:49 pm #

What do you think Dis, Saturday Night, Peter cruising the Ruggers campus on Qs chopper, picking up summer school coeds, “In the Still of the Night” blasting from a transistor radio in the front pocket of Peter’s Members Only jacket?

          • Blackbird July 23, 2022 at 11:27 pm #

That’s not Peter’s Members Only jacket. I lost that thing at a kegger back in ’87 – it was a cold walk home, but I didn’t notice at the time. Not sure I want it back if it’s got Whitesnake all over it…

The sheer amount of people wearing masks when they are the only people around is mind boggling.

Alone walking down the street with no one around in any direction but people in their glass bubbles called cars!
I tend to poke fun at them if I can.

The huge lie of the covid mask nonsense and worse the more people who comply with this crap the more possibility some control freak idiot like Gavin Newsome will institute a mandate and then I am forced to wear one.
To buy groceries or when I go to work.
If I want to watch some woke garbage POS Marvel comic movie.
I prefer breathing unimpeded thank you very much.
It also appears the more liberal and brainwashed the person is the more apt they are to wear the face hugging burka just for brownie points.
You know the virtue signaling crowd.
This nonsense affects us all and the more idiots that simply don the slave symbol the more the control freaks want to go back to it.

Mary said, John Travolta is gay but no one in Hollywood thinks it’s a big thing.

She quoted Hollywood as a moral authority. But in other places, he condemns them as Satanic. This is classic Mary.

I just saw a video clip of a couple dozen military walking down a residential street shouting instructions for everyone to get inside now! They were marching/jogging from left to right down the street and kept barking these orders. Then they fired warning shots. The family shooting the video then entered a house.

They claimed that it was in the USA and that it is Martial Law.

    • SoftStarLight July 24, 2022 at 3:00 am #

I don’t believe it. No offense. On the other hand, is not the US in some ways in a perpetual state of martial law? It even seems like they get by with it specifically because they don’t have shock troops in the streets most of the time.

      • GreenAlba July 24, 2022 at 7:44 am #

I think we were softened up for it a bit with the spectacle of military units ‘helping out’ during alleged crises at particular points in the ‘pandemic’ and the vaxx campaigns. There’s nothing actually happening here on that score either, at the moment, but I don’t doubt at all that it’s planned for when the necessity arises.

There were hunger marches from areas of high unemployment (the north-east of England, primarily) in the 30s. If they start up again, all over the country, they’ll be less peaceful, I think. And those pulling the strings will be delighted to oblige with martial law and internment camps. The only good thing here, in that respect, is that the military has been culled over the years due to budget cuts, so they’re undermanned. But they have plans to replace actual people anyway, don’t they?

        • SoftStarLight July 24, 2022 at 11:47 am #

Yes, I’m sure they do. And I also believe that is why they are letting so many migrants in. They will be very willing to do the government’s dirty work as I am sure they will be offered the belongings and homes even of those they help the government “contain”. I agree that normalizing all of this is why they had the military assisting with the vax rollouts. And why they use the military so much for things like it. Like surrounding the Capitol after the J6 protests but not before. Clearly, they will create reasons for such a show of force when needed.

      • Bob Polecat July 24, 2022 at 3:44 pm #

I most definitely saw the video clip. Of that there is no doubt.

As for its validity … it was either a very sophisticated hoax or recorded in some other country that is in very big trouble.

Last year, amidst great fanfare and publicity, the State bought a number of EV buses to run on city bus lines. Sure they cost about 2x the amount of regular buses, but these buses were fighting Climate Change; besides, the State of Ct. was paying for them, so who cares what they cost? Well, yesterday one of them burst into flames LoL. It literally burned all day, and got so hot that steel melted.

“It was a hot fire, we couldn’t put it out. The more water we poured on it, the worse it got.”-Hamden, Ct fire chief.

    • GreenAlba July 24, 2022 at 7:28 am #

It seems there are just no solutions to the transport problem. We’ve had hybrid buses in Edinburgh for years, and there are some all-electric ones too, more recently. I must say that, at street level (we’ve had no fires or anything like that) they are an improvement on the old buses. They aren’t sitting at traffic lights and at bus stops spewing out exhaust fumes.

As a compact city we have a traffic congestion problem and an air quality problem in the city centre. Even away from the centre, the school my grandson goes to (and where he went to nursery from age 3, with his little developing lungs) is right on a busy T junction, with vehicles stopping and starting all day long. The school is one of many being monitored by the city council for air quality – many others have already been shown to be at an unacceptable level. I know that EVs aren’t a solution generally, but they do make towns and cities cleaner, despite the obvious fact that the electricity, at source, may be as dirty as anywhere else. Assuming they don’t explode, obviously. I’m not aware of that having happened anywhere in the UK as yet.

      • GreenAlba July 24, 2022 at 8:31 am #

The WEF has a ‘solution’ for our transport problems, of course, which is to keep us all under house arrest, while they fly off to their yachts in their private jets. 🙂

        • Redneck Liberal July 24, 2022 at 9:28 am #

          • GreenAlba July 24, 2022 at 9:49 am #

Do provide us some evidence from Herr Schwab’s writings that contradict what people on here have said about the intentions of the WEF and the 2030 sustainability agenda.

What did you think of the tristate solution for the conversion of the Netherlands, for example, which involves getting rid of the farmers, who are to be replaced by ‘food hubs’?

Bearing in mind that it has been demonstrated that the lockdowns resulted in a 0.2% reduction in covid deaths – when any of the early treatment protocols that were outlawed would have resulted in an 85-95% reduction in deaths, PLUS no need to shut down normal health services AND that the public health authorities and governments are in full cognisance of these facts, are you going to tell us there aren’t going to be any more lockdowns or similar restrictions? And can we hold you to that?

Also, can I have response to my post upthread, please?

          • GreenAlba July 24, 2022 at 10:13 am #

If you want some help with the nitty-gritty of the WEF/UN sustainablity agenda, Iain Davis is very good. Obviously there is his book, ‘Pseudopandemic – The New Normal Technocracy’, but he has produced multiple excellent essays and interviews on the topic.

The devil is quite literally in the detail, which you are ignoring in the same way as you ignore the fallout from the quacksine campaigns.

This bus didn’t exactly explode, GA. It seems the battery overheated and caught fire, and the fire spread from there, eventually engulfing the entire bus. The Chief stated that his Dept. doesn’t yet have the equipment or capabilities to extinguish Lithium battery fires. “Its a whole new ballgame” Hamden Fire Chief.

        • BackRowHeckler July 24, 2022 at 9:50 am #

Fascinating! I didn’t know. I’ll look it up.

The’ whole new ballgame’ of lithium battery fires sounds like seriously bad news. There doesn’t seem to be any other kind of news these days.

          • SpeedyBB July 24, 2022 at 11:05 am #

Lithium battery fires were a serious alarm on the Boeing 787 Screamliner excuse me Dreamliner, GA, a couple of years back. Manufactured by Yuasa of Japan. Fire on an aircraft can interfere with your holiday plans.

I’m awaiting a battery-powered trail bike from Japan – Yamaha showed a prototype at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2013 (!) It seems the various motorcycle manufacturers are wary of EVs – particularly potential battery fireworks, I suspect.

The fun factor is something else (as any Tesla owner knows): sudden response of an electric motor makes a big difference on a single-track vehicle.

          • GreenAlba July 24, 2022 at 11:32 am #

Well, if your battery is going to spontaneously combust, Speedy, it’s certainly easier getting of your bike than off a Boeing 787.

      • Paula D July 25, 2022 at 6:07 am #

They run on batteries? I always prefer electric trolleys to diesel buses and I’m not the only one.
In San Francisco and Chicago you can see packed electric trolleys while empty diesel buses roll along. The trolleys are quieter and like Green Alba says they don’t spew out foul smelling exhaust.
But they run on lines, not batteries.

Public Service Announcement: For those engaged in special military ops with gophers, I have finally found a remedy that seems to be as effective as any I’ve found yet: water flooding with additional peppermint oil.

Locate and clear their latest hole, preferably the highest if there are many and your yard is on a slant. Remove nozzle from garden hose, stick down hole, and apply full pleasure. Wait a 5-10 minutes to be sure you’re onto a main tunnel network and that you’re not just pumping water into one hole and out of another adjacent hole, then apply 1 qt Peppermint Oil into the hole and continue with the water. If you’re onto a main tunnel, the water might run for an hour or more before either backing up out of the entry hole or emerging from another one. Inspect hourly.

When water finally comes pouring out of one of the holes, grab a rake, spade, or other suitable garden implement and inspect the yard. If you’re lucky, one of the little buggers will have just barely surfaced somewhere in the yard gasping for air where the water is gushing and you can bash his brains in. If you’re luckier still, you will simply have drowned him down below, although that’s not nearly as satisfying as crushing his skull.

The Peppermint Oil will leave a long lasting but environmentally friendly stench in the network and local environs after the water dries out, and the next gopher who moves in (and rest assured, there WILL be another one!) will avoid it and at the very least have to dig his own. I’ve been through three such cycles now, and I’ve definitely noticed that the little buggers are slower to return and much less aggressive after each cycle.

    • SoftStarLight July 24, 2022 at 12:19 pm #

How awful. Cruelty to animals is just one of those things that really undermines the spirit. The gophers aerate the soil and mix nutrients throughout it, and have an ecological purpose. Did you post this specifically to create psychic pain and torment?

      • Jarek July 24, 2022 at 12:38 pm #

He may not realize it. This is the traditional mentality. Nature must be conquered or you can’t have a nice lawn. Or eat.

Remember, this is a fallen world. “By the sweat of our brow” shall we make a living and only by pain give birth.

I love raccoons. All traditional people hate them and boast about killing them. They are mischievous. They used to throw my chairs off the porch and broke the cat’s bowl with their strong little pseudo-hands. As omnivores, they’ll take their pick of your garden as well. But kill them because of it? Not me. But if I needed the garden to live? I might well feel differently and thus do differently.

        • Disaffected July 24, 2022 at 2:14 pm #

If you’ve ever had gophers, you’d know. They destroy everything! Nature’s just fine, but gophers in my yard are not. And there’s no other way to get rid of them other than killing them. Believe me, I’ve tried. The golf course uses an industrial vacuum truck that sucks them out of their holes. Funny as hell. But I think it kills them in the process. Not that I have access to that. Gophers are nothing more than subterranean rats and I kill rats too. And mice, for that matter.

        • SoftStarLight July 24, 2022 at 2:23 pm #

Oh, raccoons are adorable lol. I never realized though they were strong enough to throw chairs but also they are pretty big so it makes sense. I’m so glad you didn’t hurt them. I also had a family of raccoons one time that routinely visited in the back yard. There is this giant red oak back there and all four of them were literally climbing that tree all the time and stuff. I basically just shooed em away and told them to go back to the woods. They don’t like flashlights and when you sneak up on them lol.

Hating animals is a weird thing I don’t understand.

          • Disaffected July 24, 2022 at 8:09 pm #

Hating pests is much easier. Do you feed the mice and the cockroaches when they invade your house?

Most women I know have a selective love of animals based on what’s “cute.” I had a Honduran GF a few years back that fed the deer and the crows religiously every morning, but at the first sign of mice broke out the poison. When I called her on it she reflexively reiterated that they “must be killed.”

Stupid bitch two doors down likewise feeds the deer (another scourge!) and the crows every day, never realizing the harm she’s doing making species human dependent.

Perhaps your “understanding” just needs some adjustment?

By the way, black bears are the same song, different verse. Leave shit out for them to eat and they’ll damn sure come get it. And the more shit you leave out and the less you punish them for coming after it, the more they’ll come. Rinse and repeat. Stupid bears? No, stupid fucking humans.

          • benr July 24, 2022 at 8:52 pm #

My mom owns a pretty health tract of land in the bitteroot mountains and she routinely fed the bears in her neck of the woods.
People told her not to but she ignored them for months and then one day she got tired of the ever mounting expense of feeding the growing population of bears.
So she stopped and of course the bears got aggressive so she called the rangers who came and shot several of them.
Bears gonna be bears after all.
Yet another Democrat that can’t understand what happens when you enable people and animals to be lazy and then stop with the handouts.

          • Anthea July 25, 2022 at 4:55 am #

Raccoons can be a BIG problem. They will kill your chickens. The ywill strip the fruit from a peach tree literally overnight. They like to live in people’s attics, where they will chew up the wiring and crap all over the place. You will find that a bunch of your electrical circuits have gone dead. If they get into your crawl space or attic, they will eventually find a way to get into your house, where they will dump the contents of your pantry and trash basket onto the floor and generally make it look like a tornado hit. They will get into the house by chewing holes in the ceiling or vulnerable areas of the floor, such as under the kitchen sink.

It is almost impossible to get rid of them.

So, yes, I am in favor of killing them.

Bears love bacon. Many many decades ago in a somewhat different era I was in a picnic/camping area in the Smoky Mtns national park. Bears everywhere. A black bear showed up looking for food, so some drunk hooligans there decided to place a big chunk of bacon, maybe as much as a pound at the very bottom of a trash can that had been chained down. When the bear was fully engaged with the bacon at the bottom of the big trash receptacle, about all you could see was the bear’s bottom. On a dare, one of the drunk dudes sneaked up to the bear and smacked it as hard as he could on the ass with a board. Then they all ran like hell and got in their cars. The dude that did it managed to escape, the bear did give chase instead of running off. It’s said that they can run uphill at 40 mph if need be, and they can also climb trees.

Had a woman and her hubby up here two years ago that thought the same way about black bears. Oh, they’re SO CUTE and cuddly!

While lounging on the ski lodge veranda after a summer hike on the ski mountain, one came up looking for food. They of course ignored it and then tried to shoo it away as it became more aggressive. A few minutes later after a sprint for their car, wouldn’t ya know that hubby was prying wife’s head out of the bear’s mouth. She turned out OK, but with some pretty substantial face and scalp lacerations along with a much better understanding of the black bear’s oral cavity.

But oh yeah, they later shot the bear, no questions asked.

“I came home late in the evening and found my sister, who was drinking alcohol & was drunk & her heavily drunk boyfriend who was throwing up in my bathroom,” he wrote. Asking where his kids were, his sister, in her drunken state, did not know. Thankfully, he found them outside digging in the yard, but as for his sister, he decided to kick her and her boyfriend out of the house and fire her on the spot.

His sister criticized him, saying he was overacting because she had only a little to drink.

His parents got involved too, and said he was overreacting and being inconsiderate and tried to reassure him that nothing wrong happened, but he retorted, saying that wasn’t the point.

This is a subreddit post. Do people have to ask the internet if they were right for firing the sister/babysitter? Women are more powerful than ever before. But they are also for some reason more terrified than ever before of the sexual prowess of octogenarians.
Frank Langella is not a household name, but he’s a well-established actor who has been in major films since the 1970s. He was nominated for best actor at the 2008 Academy Award for playing Richard Nixon in Frost/Nixon.

The Fall of the House of Usher is not a joke, created and directed by Mike Flanagan, who is probably one of Netflix’s biggest earners. “Netflix Earner” is a complicated concept, but Flanagan just pumps out high-quality, highly rated, popular series at a rapid rate, and he seems to be all in on Netflix at this point. His feature length films have been hit or miss, and Doctor Sleep was a serious miss. I don’t think he’s spoken about his contracts, but the Netflix series Midnight Mass was his last project (and one of the best things ever), and now he’s doing this Edgar Allen Poe adaptation series with another series in preproduction.

So, while it’s weird to abuse an actor, it is actually just insane to tell a director who is one of your top earners he has to reshoot an entire series because of a rumor someone got their leg touched.

    New York Post:

Frank Langella claims he has been “canceled” after he was fired from the Netflix series The Fall of the House of Usherlast month. The actor penned an op-ed for Deadline Thursday (May 5) in response to his dismissal from the show, which let him go after Langella was accused of inappropriate behavior on set.

While working on the horror series, Langella was accused of making a sexual joke and touching his female co-star’s leg, then asking, “Did you like that?,” per TMZ. Sources confirmed to Deadline, which first reported the news of Langella’s firing, that such incidents did occur.

To be clear: that is the entirety of the rumor: joke, leg touch, comment.

In his Deadline essay, Langella slammed the accusations against him as “absurd” and claimed he was fired from The Fall of the House of Usher shortly after TMZ broke the story of his sexual harassment investigation.

“That afternoon, I was fired. I was not given a hearing with Netflix,” he wrote. “My request to meet one-on-one with the actress was denied. The directors and the producer stopped answering my emails and phone calls. Within 30 minutes of my firing, a letter went out to cast and crew and a full press release was sent immediately. My representatives and I were given no opportunity to comment or collaborate on the narrative.”

The actor added, “I cannot speak to the intentions of my accuser or Netflix, but the impact on me has been incalculable. I lost a thrilling part, the chance at future earnings and perhaps face a stretch of unemployment. Netflix terminated me after three months of work with only three weeks left to shoot, and I have as yet to be fully remunerated for my services. Most importantly, my reputation has been tarnished.”

He ended his statement by slamming “cancel culture,” which Langella described as “the antithesis of democracy.” He continued, “It inhibits conversation and debate. It limits our ability to listen, mediate, and exchange opposing views. Most tragically, it annihilates moral judgment.”

Langella closed out the op-ed by writing, “This is not fair. This is not just. This is not American.”

Like everything that is happening, it is insane.

Even if he’d been accused of rape, this should be treated differently and there should be an investigation. Of course, if it was rape, there would be a criminal investigation. Touching someone’s leg and making a joke are not crimes.

If he did exactly what he is accused of, what would that even mean? Aren’t women empowered now? Can’t she just laugh and say “sorry gramps, not interested”? What is this power that men have to strike fear into the hearts of women by flirting with them, and how is it possible that women are equal to men if men have this astonishing power over them?

Here’s the thing: women are not getting more powerful, they are just getting more unhinged and aggressive. An adult woman 50 or 500 or 5,000 years ago could respond to an older man “making a pass” at her with a laugh instead of some kind of freakout. It’s certainly not a big deal or something someone should be fired over, and if they’re both single, it’s not even morally wrong. This is just basic human behavior. And it really isn’t even “making a pass,” frankly. Old men – particularly old Italian men – have always flirted with younger girls with no intention to actually have sex with them.

Langella is 84 years old. He’s not trying to have sex with some young skank. If this even happened at all – and I guess it probably did – he’s just an old man having a laugh. You’re going to ruin his life over it? Force the director and the entire crew to reshoot all of the lead actor’s scenes when filming is almost finished?

What’s more: the guy they replaced him with, Bruce Greenwood (who, ironically, is most famous for a role portraying JFK), is not going to be better than Langella, he is going to be worse, and the entire thing is going to be worse due to rushed reshoots.

    Edgar Allen Poe deserves better.

I was really looking forward to this show, even though it does have a black person in it. Sir Christopher Lee would have been best as Usher. He’s dead now. But at least he did a reading of it.

Jarek: Frank has the gift of aggression. Women aren’t going to approach men after all. Yet women have turned against life and chosen anti-life, calling for the persecution of guys like Frank. AOC wanted Stein arrested or shot. Anthea wanted the same for a man admiring her daughter. Her ideal Traditional America is a place where husbands can be dragged out of the house at a moments notice by goons in black body armor. Her Christianity is bullshit too – just “Mary” or Earth mother worship.

Note: Great Mother civilizations always practiced human sacrifice. Big Mommy gets hungry and needs blood.

Worship of the Great Goddess is something else again. It gets confusing if you have no real feel for these things. The Hindu Thugees worshiped Kali. So did the saint Ramakrishna. They worshiped her by killing and dismembering travelers (keeping the change). He worshiped her by killing his ego.

Same? No. Same name, completely different practice and experience.

Although it is our Christian duty to forgive this little skank and the ball-less suits who sided with her petty complaint, we can rest assured that if they do not (completely out-of-character) repent their sins, they will burn in Hell where they justly belong.

One of my theories is that women are punishing men for constructing such a fragile, imbalanced future-less habitat (modern global consumerist techtopia), and that their punishment of, or dissatisfaction with men, has some actual justice, some logic underlying it.

Go ahead, flay me as a lib if it makes you feel better.

        Women. Logic. Hahaha! Good one.

        • Bob Polecat July 24, 2022 at 2:38 pm #

Please don’t get me wrong. Women do have their good points. It’s just that logic is not one of them. Not even close.

          • Bob Polecat July 24, 2022 at 3:03 pm #

For example, many women bake a very tasty fruit pie.

            A la mode. Yum!

        • gustafson.robert.22 July 24, 2022 at 2:42 pm #

Ha. I didn’t say it was a conscious logic, in the example of my theory there.

      • Jarek July 24, 2022 at 3:44 pm #

The Neo-Traditionalists (Guenon, Schuon, etc) say something similar: Women revolted against men because men had already revolted against God and the natural order.

They think they can see better than the one eyed myopia sufferers, but in fact they are completely blind.

    • MaryQueen July 24, 2022 at 7:06 pm #

Every time you post a racist/misogynist article, you start a big women-bashing fest.

I’m pretty sure you know this and that’s why you do it.

      Just ridiculous arrested development behavior.

      • Bob Polecat July 25, 2022 at 12:02 am #

What are you talking about? Clearly men and women have strengths and weaknesses. I don’t think that anybody would argue with that.

Statistically speaking, men are much better than women at logic while women are much better than men at baking fruit pies. I don’t think anybody would argue with that as it is common knowledge.

Maybe you believe that the emperor has majestic clothes but, here in the real world, we can see his willy.

My mom grew up and lived in Munich, got bombed in an air raid in ’44, and for a few years lived in the basement of her former home, freezing in the winter with no running water and pooping in buckets. Apparently the Germans are dead set on trying this lifestyle one more time. Maybe it beats being bored or something. When things get going too good for the Germans, it’s time once again to attack the Russians and ultimately get everything blown up so you can live a third world lifestyle.

I just tuned in to a show called Dick Morris Democracy. When DM speaks he has the oddest lip movements (particularly his lower lip) of anyone I have ever seen.

I learned that DM believes that the 2024 election will pit Trump vs Hillary and that Trump will win decisively. Interesting.

Following the DM show was another political talk show starring a woman named Nancy Brinker (Never saw or heard of her before.) Her claim to fame I would guess is that she has had some sort of face lift that went badly awry.

    People, get Ready;

Please allow me license to offer a current thought.

I first heard the words “New World Order”, from the then-president George Bush (Senior), back in the early 90’s. I remember him smiling, behind a podium, and uttering that phrase…at the time I thought little of it.

I think a lot about it now. If you read a bit of history, you might understand that there has NEVER been a Utopian scheme that was successful…on the contrary, they usually end poorly, and occasionally with rivers of blood. You might suggest that this did not happen with the League of Nations, nor the United Nations, but it certainly did with Communism, Pol Pot, you might even include National Socialism if you believe that particular brand of National Expansion was Utopian.

Utopians are dangerous because they consider their imagined utopia to better humanity…their motivations are pure…they are the “good guys”… the lives of everyone will improve and provide security, happiness, freedom from want, etc.

The NWO is a Utopian Scheme. Full stop. They have the media, banks and governments of a majority of the world behind the concept, and they are going to make it happen…you see it every day, …no matter the pushback, they keep doubling down. I believe they will either succeed or die trying. They have captured the younger generation(s).

    Game over.

    You have my sympathy.

Agreed, NWO is a kind of utopian religious cult, albeit not the most inclusive cult ever, maybe.

Here’s a note of positivity though. Lifted it right from your own post word-for-word, in fact…

“there has NEVER been a Utopian scheme that was successful”

    • Woodchuck July 24, 2022 at 3:01 pm #

Alex Jones has been talking about the New World Order for many years. This phrase isn’t exactly a secret, and it’s been around for a very long time. What does it read right under the pyramid on the dollar bill? It’s written “Novus Ordo Seclorum”. For those who weren’t asleep high school Latin class – that means “New Secular Order” – a new secular world ruled by man and not by God. A new world order with man in complete control.

At some point, God will be forced to intervene and start kicking asses. We’ll probably call it “The Great Tribulation”.

      • Bob Polecat July 24, 2022 at 3:14 pm #

“So it is written. So it shall be done.”

In the true mystery of God, we are all given both free will and the clearly-written, most-published book ever, pre-ordained road map yet we just keep driving down the same old road like the stupid teenagers who won’t simply get out of the house in a 1980s slasher flick.

“At some point, God will be forced to intervene and start kicking asses. We’ll probably call it “The Great Tribulation”.

The New York Times published the outlandish piece, titled “A Taste for Cannibalism?” in its Style section on Saturday. Written by Alex Beggs, the article provided insight into cannibalism’s growing relevance in pop culture – especially in a “spate of recent stomach-churning books” – and touted one author’s assertion that cannibalism’s “time is now.”.

Beggs began her piece with a reference to novelist Chelsea G. Summers’ story idea of a character eating her deceased boyfriend’s “liver served Tuscan style, on toast.” She then observed, “Turns out, cannibalism has a time and a place. In the pages of some recent stomach-churning books, and on television and film screens, Ms. Summers and others suggest that that time is now.”

The piece provided a showcase for a set of interesting quotes from the creators of Yellowjackets, a Showtime series featuring graphic scenes of cannibalism. Co-creator Ashley Lyle explained her inspiration for the show, saying, “I think we’re often drawn to the things that repulse us the most.”

Her creative partner Bart Nickerson added, “But I keep coming back to this idea of, what portion of our revulsion to these things is a fear of the ecstasy of them?”

Beggs’ piece also sought to find out “what may be fueling the desire for cannibalism stories today.” According to Lyle, it’s the current “strange moment.” She mentioned “the pandemic, climate change, school shootings and years of political cacophony as possible factors.”

Lyle explained, “I feel like the unthinkable has become the thinkable and cannibalism is very much squarely in that category of the unthinkable.”

(Crusher) And there ladies and germs (the last paragraph) is why I’m “clinging to my Bible”

    • MaryQueen July 24, 2022 at 7:11 pm #

The luciferians love cannibalism. The PTB appear to be trying to normalize everything they love.

Even today, Kellie-Jay Keen, a women’s rights advocate, got a visit from police (in UK) because someone complained she had insulted pedophiles. The cops said she had been “untoward about pedophiles.” Think about how insane it is that cops would visit a person over that kind of comment.

      • benr July 24, 2022 at 8:45 pm #

        That depends on the comment.
If threats of murder and violence were made even pedophiles have rights under the law.

        • Paula D July 25, 2022 at 6:25 am #

          That is also insane.
It isn’t illegal to threaten to kill pedophiles. That is not a credible threat to a specific person, it is a vague wish for harm to a category of despicable humans.
Even if you are standing next to an actual human who you actually threaten you have to have a credible means of doing so for it to be illegal.
Jeez, benr, defending pedophiles? That is low.

Just watching probably the most arrogant Deep Stater I have witnessed.

I will really look forward to watching Liz Cheney get clobbered this summer, 20% at the last poll in the primary, then her watching Trump rise to the nomination in spite of her traitorous mouth.

The goal of every patriot, meaning anti Uniparty Deep Stater, needs to be to pick out the biggest baddest Swamp killer possible. Every RINO needs to be purged.

Right now Trump is it. If folks want a bigger Deep State killer, he/she will need to emerge and take it away from Trump.

If Trump is selected, then voting for a Democrat instead of him is voting for the number one enemy of the USA.

Just look what a vote for Biden has done to this country.

What has it done, JohnAZ? The economy is booming with unemployment at 3.7%, real wages are up (which is surely good, right?) and despite the constraints are causing issues, the trajectory is going in the preferred direction.

Or are you referring to the “culture war” that GOP & MAGA loonies are waging? Screaming about things that actually don’t matter?

Gods Lord. You are using idiot arguments. 3.7% unemployment, huh? Just give it six months, housing bust, layoffs have already starting, estimates are 6.0% by the end of the year.

And your other is even funnier, real wages up is total crap. Wages up 5.4%, inflation up 9.1%. That is negative 4.7% real wages, Everyman is hurting and it is getting worse.

          Nice try!
