Like the white whale of legend surfacing close to the mainland, special counsel John Durham popped up this week with one Michael Sussmann in his jaws, a smallish fish among the squamous and tentacled monsters hiding in the depths of the Deep State below the raging political seas. Who he, anyway?

Among the now well-known cast of creatures involved in the panoramic episode of perfidious sedition known as RussiaGate, Mr. Sussmann was a bit-player, an errand boy for the Perkins Coie law firm that did much of Hillary Clinton’s dirty work in the 2016 campaign and for the Democratic Party beyond. Mr. Sussmann is charged with lying to the FBI in conveying campaign dirt paid-for by Mrs. Clinton to the FBI’s general counsel, James Baker, Mr. Sussmann’s old colleague from the days when he worked as a cyber-security expert at the bureau. He also peddled-around the same material, cooked up by Glenn Simpson’s Fusion GPS company and man-of-mystery Christopher Steele, to The New York Times and other news media, who ran with it like kids with a kite.

I have a theory about the case. It is a shot across the bow of Attorney General Merrick Garland’s ship, testing whether main DOJ will attempt to interfere with Mr. Durham’s mission to uncover the predicates of RussiaGate and the vast web of dishonest and illegal acts carried out subsequently by figures in the FBI, the DOJ, and other dark corners of a government gone rogue against its own citizens. Mr. Baker has long been suspected of acting as a cooperating witness in the RussiaGate matter, perhaps realizing early-on that he’d been played by old pal Mr. Sussmann and set up for prosecution.

The problem for Merrick Garland is that Mr. Sussmann’s activities amounted to a mere preface for the graver development of the Crossfire Hurricane operation, which involved a shoal of much-bigger fish across several agencies including Directors John Brennan of the CIA and James Comey of the FBI and many others. The Sussmann indictment also provides a window into the FISA Court fakery that federal law enforcement used to go after people connected to candidate and then President Donald Trump.

Mr. Garland will be left having to explain why the DOJ and the FBI were never self-accountable for the illegal acts of their employees, including Robert Mueller’s fishy special counsel team, which now looks like a cover-up operation, not to mention current and continuing matters such as the DOJ sitting on the laptop of President “Joe Biden’s” son, Hunter, and its bales of incriminating memoranda detailing payoffs to the Biden family from companies run by the CCP. Really, the fate of the Democratic Party is on the line with what might potentially develop if Mr. Durham’s actions go beyond Michael Sussman’s little caper.

The overwhelming body of opinion for more than a year is that John Durham is a phantom doing next-to-nothing about the greatest political scandal in US history. If his efforts end with Mr. Sussmann, he will disgrace himself, of course, and that’s a possibility. But I would venture to suppose that it won’t end there. The insult to the nation of all the epic dishonesty is too grave, even potentially fatal — since it has enabled a depraved skein of additional seditious activities afterward, including the 2020 election subterfuge, the lawlessness of BLM and Antifa, the psychotic race-and-gender “Woke” mind-fuckery infecting the US military, the ongoing invasion across the US-Mexican border, all the coercion around Covid-19, especially “mandated” shots of a dangerous so-called “vaccine,” and the destruction of small business from sea to shining sea. All of that has left the American public demoralized and economically savaged, and with the country’s standing in the world dangerously reduced.

I hope you are ready for a month of shocks to the system. The deceit of the CDC and the FDA in gaming and cooking their Covid-19 data is now emerging from the fog of pandemic hysteria. I will also dare to conjecture that the number of recent and current Covid-19 “cases” turns out to be actually and overwhelmingly adverse reactions to the mRNA experiment, not the disease itself, and that holy hell will erupt among the public as it becomes understood that their livelihoods — and their health — are being stolen as part of this fraud. A week from today, the Arizona election audit results are now scheduled to be released. Expect trauma. Tomorrow, a demonstration in support of the 1/6 political prisoners is on-board for Washington, DC. The potential for Deep State manipulation of the event is high, so stay away from it. There are enough other forces in motion now to throw a spanner in the engine of malice our government has become. Let Karma do its thing and hold on tight for a rough ride.

James it is heart warming that you can still believe in the system at this point but I fear you will be disappointed.

    • hmuller September 17, 2021 at 10:57 am #

Agreed. I love the way JHK states the problems. But only Frank Capra could believe public outrage will make all things right again. The evil is deeply entrenched and no longer cares about our consent; it has the support of the voting machines.

    • amb September 17, 2021 at 11:23 am #

Agreed edpell. The Globalists, working on this for decades while the rest of us have been asleep at the wheel, have full control of our government and every important non-government and cultural institution in our country. Durham will be squashed like a bug, or just end off after this pathetic “Sussman indictment” (going after a minnow, when the pond is full of giant sharks and whales!?). Durham has probably already been compromised, or was already in their pocket. I’d like to be wrong about all of this.

Personally, I’m at the point now where I believe that the only solution is that in this Fourth Turning–if there even is such a thing as a Fourth Turning–there is an effective revolution and overthrow of our government, and all of its treasonous, anti-American cohorts and infiltrators. Purging the cancers from the USA might be too complex and impossible of a task. It also might be a positive development for the planet as a whole if Beijing, Tehran, and Pakistan were all bombed out of existence.

      • rainmaker September 17, 2021 at 11:36 am #

Since I’m just a minnow, the only tool I have to use at this point is “Opt Out”. Do as little as possible taxable, buy as little as possible, don’t donate to “charities” that only enrich the CEO of the “charity”. Don’t cooperate with tyrants. If our “leaders” can’t be bothered to follow the laws they made, why should we? Now I’m sure that someone here is going to jump in and say “But if you don’t follow the rules, you will be PUNISHED !”. True dat, so, be smart and keep it on the down lo. Throw some sand into the gears of the machine.

        • toktomi September 17, 2021 at 12:18 pm #

Perhaps simply walking away [opting out] is merely making a choice about the form of punishment that one will suffer. That is, acquiescence buys no salvation or immunity.

Ultimately, “nothing really matters”, I reckon. But I’ll take the “no, thank you”, if I may, and commune with the have-nots.

          ~toktomi~

        • JTinMD September 17, 2021 at 1:49 pm #

Why pay taxes anymore? Totally pointless.

          • toktomi September 17, 2021 at 8:54 pm #

            @JTin

Pay your taxes because you’ll likely be legally prosecuted if you don’t.

A better question might be, why continue to chase taxable Federal Reserve notes for anything other than the basic necessities of survival?

            ~toktomi~

        • Pat Ormsby September 18, 2021 at 4:45 am #

I suspect the big reason behind the labor shortage that is bringing economic distress to the States, but oddly not Japan, is the result of people taking John Michael Greer’s advice and “backing slowly away from the crazy person.” With the US media inciting hatred toward anyone not on board with the official narrative, I imagine a lot of people going “oh yeah, yeah, I got the shot” not saying that they mean 20 year ago, “oh darn, I have a family crisis! See ya!”

      • Hardrock September 17, 2021 at 12:59 pm #

I suspect we may be in for a “slow” revolution focused on money, debt, and the loss of reserve currency status….with no extreme and wide-spread violence.

Went to the grocery with my wife this morning and saw what she has been reporting for months. Some empty shelves, much fewer options, some items not available at all. Perhaps this is what our future holds until a critical mass is reached and folks realize the “bad” old way actually worked better.

        • Hereward the Woke September 17, 2021 at 4:44 pm #

We just got kicked out of Afghanistan and the shelves are half empty. Remind you of anywhere? The wheels have come full circle: We are the new USSR!

          • cowbell81 September 17, 2021 at 4:51 pm #

Indeed, quite an appropriate correlation. History always has a way of repeating itself, and dishing out those just desserts.

            USSA it is then!

    • Wizard of the Saddle September 17, 2021 at 1:50 pm #

I ceased being a “Hopium” addict after watching all that transpired during the Trump years. The rot in the system is too deep for any one man or political party to cure it.

However, I do agree with our host that a rough ride is coming. Indeed, I would argue that the rough ride began in earnest once the Left decided that the time was ripe to send Leftwing extremist thugs Antifa and BLM into our streets all across America to violate all laws against assault, murder, arson, looting, robbery, rape, etc. with impugnity.

It is one thing to have to put up with a venal and corrupt government that pays little attention to the Constitution. That’s been a problem since 1861. But it is an entirely more serious matter to have to contend with a totalitarian movement of Wokesters who are Hell bent on imposing a one-party Marxist state over us.

So, yes, rough times are here and they are going to get rougher.

Who really believes we are going to be voting our way out of this mess? A show of hands, please….

      • cowbell81 September 17, 2021 at 4:53 pm #

You mean to tell me that all the “Hope” that Obama was peddling during his campaign leading up to his first term did not have a positive effect on you?

I wonder what happened to the Obama “Hope” narrative that all those Americans held so dear to their hearts?

        • Uncle Bob September 17, 2021 at 5:23 pm #

They’re the ones “hoping” for an extension to unemployment benefits so they can continue to sit on their fat asses.

And right on cue, AOC is pushing another extension running 9/6/21-2/1/22 for all the people who have been adversely affected by the shutdowns. Apparently this bucktoothed narcissist is unaware it was she and her party who have promulgated the never-ending crisis, in exchange for the support of desperate people.

        • debt September 17, 2021 at 7:12 pm #

I have a different interpretation of one of Obama’s favorite slogans. Buy US silver coins. “Change you can believe in.”

      • AngryFarmer September 19, 2021 at 10:28 am #

Hey, don’t walk away from your Hopium pipe just yet.

Trump’s election should give you hope, not take it away.

The fact that there were enough old-style Americans to get him elected in the first place, is a very, very hopeful sign.

Sure, it sucks that he didn’t succeed…but how often is a first try successful?

It’s like deer hunting. If I take a shot and miss, I don’t run home and take up stamp collecting.
I move to my next treestand, and wait for the next opportunity.
As long as I HAVE MY TRUSTY RIFLE ( wink, wink), I know another buck will eventually wander by.

    • Unperson37854 September 17, 2021 at 5:36 pm #

Way late to the party, but agree.

Lines like, “Really, the fate of the Democratic Party is on the line with what might potentially develop if Mr. Durham’s actions go beyond Michael Sussman’s little caper.” Assumes there is ANY accountability anymore.

Who’s going to hold them accountable? The DOJ? The courts? The MSM? Big Tech? Voices in academia, hollywood, the sports world? Will Antifa or BLM protest their actions?

No justice is coming (except the unforseen consequences of bad policies that will affect the very same pleebs that fall for the policy-makers blaming it on the people who could fix everything).

This fall we will get hit hard with the flu/corona and that will keep the narrative going into the spring flu season and we’l have riots for some reason in the summer right on up to the 2022 midterms.

The coronavirus con might be outta juice by Nov. 2022, but by then any questioning of the narrative will be fully aligned with terrorism in the hearts and minds of the MSM slaves.

Nazis, as of late, promoting themselves as a good guys since they were fighting “spread of communism” in Europe. Small collaborators in the Balkans hitched that ride too, since they were fighting partisans, the only resistance fighters, organized by the communists.
Narrative like that warmed quite a few harts on the West.

A poetic and well versed fella, no doubt, but he is habitually trapped in “othering”, “scapegoating” and petty race theorizing to the point of mindless, subjective rationalization of his “own” “race’s” complicity in the problems and failures of today.

And to wrap his enigma in a puzzle, he appeared to be a student, or at least an understander, of Buddhism.

I picture his therapist popping benzodiazepines and doing the two-finger temple rub for a good few minutes after a session.

      • draupnir September 17, 2021 at 12:01 pm #

Funny, I expect he is whining without let to our host regarding the unfairness of it all and promising supernatural good behavior in the future–a device such people find occasionally effective when they are punished for indulging in one of their more egregious acts of social deviancy. They never learn.

It’s not at all odd that a Nazi would be interested in Buddhism.

They have a “thing” for Eastern stuff, and vice-versa.

Satrivi Devi was an Indian chick who thought Hitler was an incarnation of Vishnu, or something.

Nazi imagery and iconography was chock full of Hindu and Buddhist touchstones – the swastika itself is a good example. And all those dudes were vegetarians, too.

Agenda artfully inserted, but easy to skip Akmofo’s was more nothing-but-and-into-your-face agenda that, I hope not shred in here, that went on to my nerves. He’d sprayed me with the, what he’d thought is a slur, “goy” in his replies, thus confirming the agenda that I was suspecting. Hope that he was kicked out too for that reason.

You can’t change anyone’s opinions, at least not in the way Janos operated. He was (& is, I don’t doubt he’ll be back under another handle) an entertainer, just like Andrew Anglin is an entertainer, albeit now one wholly owned by the CCP.

      • Wizard of the Saddle September 17, 2021 at 1:56 pm #

Indeed. He was a very prolific contributor to the CFN forum. Some of his stuff was quite good, but some was quite honestly indigestible. That characterization might apply to most all of us, I’m afraid.

I suspect he will return in another form under a new moniker….such is the limitation of the software.

But, honestly, we are all *guests* here. I, myself, have received one warning once for using childish language. I took my warning like a man and moved on. I appreciate the forum Jim provides and would never wish to abuse his hospitality. If Vlad/Janos/Yohannon hasn’t learned to do the same after 2 reincarnations here….well…perhaps he should seek out another forum where he can scratch that pro-Nazi itch to his heart’s content.

Good job JHK. Unfortunately, he can come back in some other incarnation (no pun intended, re Buddhism). Must be alert for that.

I was just banned from Zero Hedge (stupid site full of false data re economics, yet, I just check it because they seem to have breaking news before many of my other sources do) because I’ve made posts railing about our “government”, FDA, CDC, etc. having been usurped, and now completely in the control of the globalist elite. And suggesting to the readers that they purge the system of traitors beginning at their own local city and state agencies and institutions. Yup, I believe a peaceful revolution is what is necessary, and if that if prevented… a forceful and aggressive revolution.

Mr Kunstler, perhaps he was not current in his email, and had not read the warnings.

In any case, his wit and wisdom will be missed. He was an asset on this board.

Also worth noting is that he kept his tone, high.

And contra someone’s comment prior, his comments were sparing, they didn’t take up half the board.

Indeed, his racism and misogyny were couched in the most genteel and cultivated language.

        The mundane and mythic.

        What a balancing act

        • Suburban_elk September 17, 2021 at 2:24 pm #

Advocating for one’s own People first and foremost, may or may not, be fairly characterized as “racism.”

Either way, White people will be doing more of this (advocating for their own interests, first and foremost, and at the expense of others), as they become more and more put upon. Or at least some of them will. Others will choose not to. It is to each of us, to make this choice.

Janos was ahead of the curve. And yeah, far to the right, on one side.

As far as misogyny goes, that’s another topic (than racism). It is related. In both cases, it is White men, who are put on the back foot, by the use of these loaded terms.

It’s not hating women, to suggest that their behavior be constrained, in other words what might used to be called the Patriarchy. But alas! they will insist that it is (hating them). It’s not. It’s old news by now, that feminism is a source of unhappiness, for modern women. It turns women into second-rate men. They are better, as women. They are better as mothers and wives, than as cubicle drones, or for that matter soldiers and cops. nb4 [in before] outliers exist.

As far as characterizing his commenting, his tone, as I did in my prior comment, as “high.” Yes it was, wasn’t it. And not just in its color but in its feel. It is the high road, after all, to advocate for what one feels in his heart, and knows in his head, to be right and true.

Multiculturism, more properly called multi-racialism, is a non-workable polity. This is so well known by now, that it shouldn’t need arguing. America had maybe worked some degree of a compromise solution, with re its historical populations of minorities. Alas the good old days are no more. Welcome to the NWO.

            Yeah! Constrain ’em!

They are entirely responsible for the GWOT, including all of the mayhem and madness inflicted on Libya, Afg, et al. They are runing the Taliban, too. Plus, they are super-spreaders.

            Love that subjunctive, BTW.

Please do indicate, via the indicative, who/what is to do the “constrainin'”?

            Oh, I thought so.

Please do indicate, via the indicative, who/what is to do the “constrainin’”

Society, obviously. Same as with any and every other, group, will have its behavior, for the good of the whole.

Or are you really positing that a group representing half the population, should have no constraints on its behavior?

Take a hike, Elk, and constrain your own self.

            After you, Islander.

No. They (women) are not responsible for these wars, these problems. It is a strawman, to suggest that my earlier post made this claim; it did not.

The problems of our beloved society are many. The wars that are perpetrated by “our” government in Asia is not the fault of women in our society. I didn’t suggest that it was.

It’s bad faith argument, on your part, to confuse the topic with such a strawman. Don’t do it, unless your goal is to confuse the argument, and otherwise be muddled headed and disingenuous, in which case as u were.

Yeah that whole angle of attack, is a bunch of bs.

“Or are you really positing that a group representing half the population, should have no constraints on its behavior?”

Ha ha, guess I hit a leetle nerve there.

Hmm, let’s see, “society” constrains “half the population.”

            How does that work?

Since half of “society” is the “half of the population” to be constrained but also is half of the society that does the constraining, perhaps “half” of “society” just “constrains” one quarter of society? Half of the half to be constrained?

You know what? This is total BS and I have better things to do..

Sort it out yourself, or with the help and advice of Mrs. Elk, and constrain whomever you please, from the spot in front of your monitor.

Have a nice weekend thinking through the calculus of “constraining” half of society by all of society that is half the to-be-constrained.

Gotta admit I’ll miss the character Yoho – until he reincarnates anyway. The guy was intelligent and had a sense of humor. Even though I disagree with him on the kind of government the US should have (if the people had any say in the matter) – and many other things – he was always ready to argue his point, rather than just crapping on another’s post then running away like some of the more memorable trolls.

I found his long copy and paste jobs a disappointment. Always thought he should put his thoughts on the article in his own words – as he often did with the posts of others (“In other words…”) – and paste in a link at the end. Unfortunately it was the link that was his undoing. Too bad he couldn’t play by the rules – and this blog seems very light on rules – but based on his history of bans, I guess the boy just couldn’t help it.

    • sevensec September 19, 2021 at 3:12 am #

It’s definitely an interesting vibe when you read the comments about Yoho’s banning. On balance, the tone is extremely respectful towards him, almost like that of the townsfolk recalling a fallen folk-hero.

Sure, sure, clearly he had his problems—who knows where his weird resentments came from, etc., etc.—and yet you hear this sort of murmuring praise for how his tone was always “high”, “poetic”, “Jesuitical” etc., etc.

I do not disagree—one can learn much from his style, with its brevity, its irony, its quick, clean thrusts, its often surprising cross-references and layered meanings, its historical scope and wide interests. These are qualities you surely do not find much when arguing on the Internet, of all places. (I once told him tongue-in-cheek he should rework some of his comments into a book of Zen-Nazi themed poetry. I think this would have been an uncommon hybrid, at least.)

So: an imperfect but larger-than-life character, brought down in the end by his secret wound—his unyielding national-socialist hamartia.

I will say it is definitely strange he would blow off two warnings and cut of his nose to spite his face, so to speak, rather than just Stop. Posting. The damn. Anglin. Articles. He seemed smarter than that. I remember noticing when he first started to openly link/post that stuff and a sort of timer started in my head marking till he got banned. He lasted a lot longer than I thought he would, actually. Our Host is merciful, but His patience is not infinite.

The Yankees have been inconsistent all year. They’re built like the ’77 Red Sox: Most of the lineup is home run or nothing thumpers, their starting pitching has been “meh,” and the bullpen has been like watching an arsonist throwing heptane onto a dumpster fire. While I don’t generally mind the G-Men, even though they should accurately call themselves the New Jersey Giants, I still resent them for the David Tyree catch that kept the Patriots from an undefeated season.

“A pattern of the Swamp is that when the public is hungry for justice, they pick out a fairly low-level scapegoat to punish, which sounds like what is happening here (Scooter Libby, anyone?).”

A practice of a long and steadfast heritage.

        From “The Devil’s Dictionary:”

CABBAGE, n. A familiar kitchen-garden vegetable about as large and wise as a man’s head.

The cabbage is so called from Cabagius, a prince who on ascending the throne issued a decree appointing a High Council of Empire consisting of the members of his predecessor’s Ministry and the cabbages in the royal garden. When any of his Majesty’s measures of state policy miscarried conspicuously it was gravely announced that several members of the High Council had been beheaded, and his murmuring subjects were appeased.

I will be amazed if a single indictment, starting with this one, actually results in any convictions. Furthermore, I will be stunned if anyone actually spends serious time in prison.

As of 2020 I lost the last shreds of faith I had in our perpetually dysfunctional “legal system.” I now pretty much agree with “LegalMan” of “The Quash” podcast. He talks about how the entire U.S. legal system is a rigged system designed to scam the American people and maintain the power and interests of the elites. From everything I’ve seen, that’s about right.

So, while I am entertained by major court cases that impact contentious political issues, I place no faith in the courts to be guardians of liberty and fair play. Call me a cynic, but that is where I am. I mean, c’mon man, (to quote the Crypt Keeper in the WH), who really ever receives any real justice in either our criminal or civil courts anymore?

I tend to agree. The corruption at the top of all of our governmental, economic, and cultural institutions is deeply entrenched. They are not going to willingly yield power, though they may throw out a sacrificial lamb every now and then.

I think you get it. I think some of us can subconsciously game this thing all the way out and deep down realize that the only way past this is through it (collapse), because too large a majority believe the cons they are fed every day, and the PTB are off the rails and have captured all the powers of influence including the military.

So it has to fail so completely as to awaken the conned to being conned – because they have to come to that realization themselves.

And the policies fail so miserably so as to no longer be able to prop up the power the PTB imagine is limitless.

Some good people will lose their retirement nest eggs. But the truth is that wealth is already spent. How do you think so many people in the financial industry took home fortunes every year for at least 30 years? You have a nest egg of paper promises which cannot be honored. Big Brains on Wall Street figured out how to loot the underlying value and leave the paper while we watched the Kardashians.

          • hmuller September 17, 2021 at 11:51 am #

Exactly, when a Ponzi scheme collapses, the first 2 % (just to pick a number) can get their money out. By the time the masses run for the exits – forget about it.

          • Unperson37854 September 17, 2021 at 6:12 pm #

And what about even after the 2% get their money out? What happens when that money no longer has any value? If you had a crystal ball you would use your purchasing power to but as many physical assets as possible right before the bottom dropped out – then you at least have “things” to bargain with – or supplies to survive on and aren’t paying $400 for a roll of toilet paper. The trick is timing of course. And forget worrying about paying it back or creditors coming after you. If the bottom falls out, everyone will be in an every-man-for-himself scenario.

2- The first state to eliminate the COVID 19 pandemic from their territory is the winner in every possible way. They will immediately receive a doubling of their allocation of Federal funds for education and infrastructure repair.
3- In addition the Governor of the State will become President of the USA as the current acting President resigns to his basement where he can have his Depends regularly changed.

There is only one proven model for success in this contest. The government of of Uttar Pradesh– an impoverished region of 220 million people in India, was faced with an overwhelming outbreak of the new Delta variant of COVID. Only a small number of their population were vaccinated, and they could neither access or afford a mass vaccination program. Instead they initiated a free distribution of the over the counter drug Ivermectin that has a 30 year, four billion dosage history of safety including a Nobel Prize for medicine. Within a month COVID cases plummeted, and soon the death count hovered at one or two two day— effective eradication of the disease.

So Governor, If you’d like to become President by popular acclamation, have one of your benefactors fly his Gulfsream over to Deli and load it up .with enough Ivermectin for everyone in your state. A dangerous mission, because the Federal government may attempt to have it shot down. Commandeer all the UPS trucks in the state for a week to delivery Ivermectin to every doorstep.

You should at least have a statue in your image erected in every town square, Mr Hero President.

What if I’m not “actually” the governor? What it I kinda just “borrowed” the “official” governor for a little while? If I leave an Ivermectin – and a kitten! – on every doorstep, do I still get to sit on top of the pyramid for 4 years?

It’s impossible to get herd immunity to a respiratory virus like China flu or seasonal flu. They simply mutate too fast for any vaccine to keep up with for long. It’s a chimera and Fauci and the other evil psychopaths knew it all along.

          • Islander September 18, 2021 at 9:01 am #

            Hereward, re herd immunity–

Waht you say is probably correct re the current “vaccine-induced immunity.” Because it is very narrow.

But I t hink you are not supported by virologists and epidemiologists regarding natural immunity.

            1. It is far broader.
            2. It does not represent a selection pressure for the evolution of a new, more lethal or more infectious variants (although mutations continue to occur).
            3. Natural immunity is of far longer duration—possibly forever.
            4. And, natural immunity has no hazardous side effects.

I am paraphrasing the explanation provided by Dr. Peter McCullough, here:

            https://www.brighteon.com/df3dc048-fb25-46c5-8b6e-615c8bd4ab1c

But many highly credentials virologists and epidemiologists say the same, and this is reflected also in the data coming out of Israel and other locales.

        • Walter B September 17, 2021 at 10:04 pm #

I am not easily insulted, but being referred to as a “herd” not only pisses me off, but tells me the tale of how our human “betters” look at us. Every herd ever tended eventually wound up not only being fleeced but was eventually eaten by those who “watched over them” or to who they were sold to. And sold we have been, at least for those who are capable to believe someone as credible AND intelligent as former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo who laid it all out last December in Atlanta Georgia:

I think the Biden vaccine mandates represents “A Bridge Too Far” for the regime to take and hold. The unvaxxed are not solely Trump supporting GOP voters, but the Biden Regime seems to believe that. At the very least, he seems to accept the idea that if some Democrats are harmed by the mandates, that are outnumbered 9 to 1 by Republicans smacked down and so the occasional Democrat casualty is deemed acceptable “collateral damage.”

The problem, of course, is that each individual citizen harmed is not an island unto themselves. They have spouses, children, parents, brothers, sisters, cousins, etc. When Biden puts people out of work with the mandates, he harms entire families and the ripple effect will be great.

Some families continue to get along with each other, even if they do not vote the same. This means that every time Joe Biden ruins someone’s life with his mandates it will leave a sour taste in the mouths of most of that person’s friends, relatives, and even casual acquaintances. The regime will be seen for what it is: Tyrannical

Some Democrats who have, up to now, been OK with watching the Democrat Party slap around the other half of the population that voted for Trump may begin to have second thoughts and reservations as faces and names of people they know and care about start popping up amongst the casualty lists.

Most Americans still care about fair play, even if they think there is a dearth of it in our society these days. All extremism wears thin on people over time. Wokeism is already exhausting the patience of many. I sense that a breaking point is rapidly approaching. It’s just a gut feeling and I cannot quantify it in any scientific way, but I trust my gut on this.

        • Walter B September 18, 2021 at 5:36 pm #

While I will not argue about the moral correctness of “fair play”, anyone in America that still clings to that extinct concept had darn well better listen to Johnny Cash’s “Boy Named Sue” and get tough or die!

What happened on the WXYZ Detroit FB page tends to align with the idea that adverse reactions are massively undereported in the VAERS database.

The estimates I’ve seen posit that only 1 to 10% of all adverse reactions are being reported.

There are also many, many anecdotes out there about people being incentivized, coerced, pressured, or even threatened into not reporting adverse reactions.

        Yikes.

        • cowbell81 September 17, 2021 at 10:34 am #

A friend of mine just told me the other night that after he received the second jab he could not move his legs. He was totally immobile and was using a cane. Now he seems to be back to normal, but unfortunately, who knows for how long….

I told him definitely not to get any follow-up jabs. He is ordinarily healthy and has no comorbidities that I know of, so who knows what prompted him to get this “vaxx” at such a late stage of the game.

        • Ricechex September 17, 2021 at 11:02 am #

My friend got very sick from the jab and thought it was myocarditis. She attempted to report to VAERS, but it required sign ins, passwords, and divulging so much PII she decided to take a pass. There may be more under reported cases due to that as well.

          • amb September 17, 2021 at 10:09 pm #

You have to wonder if the evil actors behind all of this have really taken the vaccines, as opposed to faking it with saline solution and using that as a photo op of “See? I got it. I’m a true believer. And, I’m fine, with no negative reactions. So you need to get it.”

          • ThorsHammer September 17, 2021 at 12:02 pm #

            Hereward

There is a European equivalent to the American CDC controlled and manipulated VAERS system. It includes data from all 32 EU member countries and about 30% larger population base than the US. Last time I looked they reported 30,000-50,000 deaths directly from “vaccines” and over a half million adverse events.

The FEAR campaign has injected an untested, unproven gene altering biological agent into the bodies of hundreds of millions of people. Those same involuntary test subjects are now being pushed toward booster shots which magnify the negative effects of the mRNA technology in order to provide temporary protection from the original Wuhan Covid virus — a virus that is now extinct in many countries having been out competed by newer mutations. .

Do the math. If the end result of this madness is the death of 1% of the experimental subjects, or even 1/2%, the end result will be millions dying from from the fake “vaccines.”

          • Wizard of the Saddle September 17, 2021 at 2:24 pm #

If millions do die, as ThorsHammer speculates, count on TPTB to classify the deaths as being due to COVID, rather than the vaccines.

          • spaingaroo September 17, 2021 at 4:41 pm #

according to the counter on thecovidblog.com

            VAERS (USA) Latest Numbers:
            DEATHS: 14,506 (as of September 3, 2021)
ADVERSE REACTIONS: 675,591 (as of September 3, 2021)

            EudraVigilance (E.U.) Latest Numbers:
            DEATHS: 24,526 (as of September 11, 2021)
ADVERSE REACTIONS: 2,317,495 (as of September 11, 2021)

on the euro site there’s a note with those numbers saying that about half of the adverse reactions are serious and serious is defined as unable to work, at the least.

so at least five times more AERs, but not quite as many deaths as @ThorsHammer thought.

Note, I have also seen reports from here (as in Europe) that the process is difficult and designed to make you desist, but even more than that doctors in general don’t even recognise the possibility of an adverse event, let alone decide to report it and all the trouble that’s going to bring down on their careers.

          • ThorsHammer September 18, 2021 at 1:18 pm #

Thanks Spaingaroo for digging out the up to date numbers.

The EnduraVigilance statistics are subject to the same under reporting bias as the VAERS ones — which is to say that studies show they under report by 50- to 90%. In the case of the VARES numbers there is evidence of outright fraud by the CDC.whereas with a compilation of 32 countries with different medical systems in the EU the errors are more likely to average out.

With 2,317,495 !!!! adverse reactions reported in the EU, thousands or tens of thousands are bound to eventually materialize as deaths. I note that the death count reported by EnbduraVigilance has radically flattened out in the last month. Is that great news from the field or a reflection that the heavy hand of authoritarianism has reached out and touched the statisticians?

To paraphrase Bob Dylan, “You’ve got a problem Mr. Jones, but you don’t know what it is.”

The potential for millions of “vaccine” associated deaths derives from the massive scale of the roll-out of a radically new and totally untested medical intervention on a scale never before inflicted on the human race.

A neighbour of mine got pretty sick after having his vaccine several months ago. He’s now feeling sick again… with Covid. I know I shouldn’t feel smug but… schadenfreude…

        • Wizard of the Saddle September 17, 2021 at 2:30 pm #

Two close relatives of mine recently succumbed to the hysteria and fear campaigns and got jabbed after resisting the vaccines for over a year upon my advice. This was very distressing. Now I am very concerned how they will be impacted over the long term.

I am hoping they will remain in the majority of the vaccinated who appear, right now, to have tolerated the vaccines without any serious consequence, but who knows what will happen a year or two down the road?

It is now out of my hands. I did my duty and tried to warn them. But each person is entitled to make their own choices and take whatever risks they are comfortable with.

As for me, I’m not taking any of the COVID shots. Period.

      • MaryQueen September 17, 2021 at 12:10 pm #

That’s why ‘variants’ were invented. To hide the vaxx injuries and deaths.

Out in the world, many people are questioning the BS COVID narrative.

Unfortunately, either not enough people are objecting, or the elite can get away with it.

NYC mayor is typical. It’s much easier to harass businesses, or non violent individuals, about vaccines and vaccine IDs, than to actually maintain law and order against actual criminal behavior.

In Israel, a highly educated society, in the face of data showing the shots don’t work, they are pushing for 3rd and 4th shots. And the people are accepting it.

      • Wizard of the Saddle September 17, 2021 at 2:39 pm #

Socrates – This simply shows how powerful modern information media sources are. Most people never truly learn how to think for themselves. They accept whatever it propagated by the MSM, the government, their favorite politicians, or celebrities as the Gospel and just go with it.

The elites understand this and there were never any question that they would largely succeed in getting over 75% of the people in Western developed countries to allow themselves to be voluntarily jabbed with these experimental concoctions.

So, if the goal is to cause a mass death event to dramatically reduce the global population, I think TPTB are likely to succeed in this project.

Honestly, I don’t much care at this point if 90% of the global human population dies off. We *are* in population overshoot and it *will* benefit the biosphere, for sure, which means the surviving human population will have a better shot at long-term survival as a species. It will also rid us of most of our “sheeple” who just do whatever they are told and have no situational awareness or political savvy. These are sometimes referred to as “low information voters.”

Also, I suspect that the gene pool will be improved, because smart, skeptical, educated, independent thinkers will be the largest sub-group of human who will survive, having rightly surmised that COVID is a scam and that the real threat was from the so-called “vaccines.”

The only real sadness I will experience is when friends, family members, and other people I like and admire, die off as a result of having foolishly allowed themselves to be duped. But there is not a damn thing I can do about it. Trying to warn people is largely a waste of time, energy, emotion, breath, and bandwidth. We can only look after our own selves.

Well, fair play to her for using her brain.

Unfortunately I have a strong feeling that most of the skeptical unjabbed are past child-bearing or begetting age. So, passing on the skeptical gene will be left to a tiny group. But one robust male can beget many, many children, so if the suvivors get past the monogamy hurdle, the earth can be repopulated fairly quickly . . .

      • Mountain gal September 18, 2021 at 5:50 am #

It’s a puzzle to me and greatly concerning. Partly it’s due to the incredible efforts they’ve made to isolate the unvaxed by depriving them of access to jobs, entry to most any venue but a grocery store or pharmacy etc. So even some who have held out are relenting in the face of this concerted effort- I expect to see more of this in the US.

But why Israel is ignoring their own data is beyond me. It clearly shows that natural immunity gained by actually getting and recovering from Covid is the best. So their response to this is to continue to vaccinate, force the recovered and immune to get the vax and vax the kids! Now 3rd shots with talk of 4th ones to come!

Makes little sense to me as Israelis are not generally very compliant(akin to herding cats would be a good way to describe them). I suspect much of this is political as any PM in office felt the pressure to end the epidemic immediately. To sit back and stress treatment protocols and allow people to die would be viewed as political suicide. In truth, that would have been the best approach to have taken.

Here they can’t issue medical exemptions for the vax, prescribe Ivermectin or any other “banned ” drug that would be of use treating Covid etc. The pharmacy’s are all on the lookout for any script submitted and have all declared they won’t fill any Ivermectin scripts. It’s been pretty effective as over 87% of those 12 and older in my state have now submitted to the jab. I’m sure those eligible will be lining up to get the 3rd one as well.

            Medical Totalitarianism

After interviewing every pharmacy in my county I finally found one who would fill my Ivermectiin prescription and said they had been receiving regular shipments. However so far this week their suppler has not re-stocked them.

My doctor has been bugging me for months to step up and get vaccinated, saying that it is proven safe and effective, and that 99% of the doctors at his hospital were fully vaccinated. . Three week ago he came down with the COVID. Took Ivermectin as I recommended and was back at work in three days, after giving it to his entire family.

So he can not fail to write a prescription for me!

I fully expect the Pharma vaccine pushers to stop all distribution within days in order to preserve their fraudulent EUA status, so I already have a 600 pill order in place in India having discussed stealth packaging and shipping with the pharmacist there.

            Medical Totalitarianism

We need to demand that Dr. Fraudski and acting President Depends each take 8 simultaneous shots of the magic Pfizer elixir. Five boosters should be enough to induce heart seizures in healthy adults, and neither is healthy in mind or body.

Is it psychotic to try to save your career in the face of mounting evidence that you’re also breaking the most important professional oath to which you swore? The docs are hanging on the horns of a dilemma. Ultimately, they must not break their oaths, or they will truly suffer and risk a spiritual breakdown.

Nurses, on the other hand, can far more easily stand firm on truth and ethics. More power to them!

This is a long, hour and 15 minute, interview with Dr. Robert Malone who pioneered the mRNA vaccine. He’s hardly anti vaccine but he explains why these are only lasting about 6 months and the danger of over vaccinating a population. He is against vaccine mandates and has this backed up by data and medical ethics.

      https://www.lewrockwell.com/2021/09/no_author/explosive-truth-about-vaccines-covid-w-inventor-of-mrna-vaccine-technology-robert-malone/

      • Eppur Simuove September 17, 2021 at 5:00 pm #

I’m sure Dr. Malone is a fine man, but those are side points. Let’s keep in mind what the conjecture is: the number of recent and current Covid-19 “cases” turns out to be actually and overwhelmingly adverse reactions to the mRNA experiment, not the disease itself. That’s pretty clear: he’s saying it’s not the disease any longer, it’s the vaccine. But he has no way of proving it, and he has pre-emptively disclaimed responsibility by calling it a conjecture. He’s counting on his readers to focus on the unsupported claim, while inoculating himself against criticism. That’s bad faith argumentation, if you ask me; he has nothing actually at stake.

On the subject of ethics, a Canadian named Dr. Julie Ponesse went viral last week claiming she was going to lose her job over her employer’s vaccine mandate. Turns out she hasn’t lost her job; she’s on paid leave, getting paid to sit around. What’s more, refuses to even wear a mask, much less be vaccinated — a position which is very much not backed up by medical ethics. The punch line? She’s a professor of… wait for it… ethics.

        • spaingaroo September 17, 2021 at 5:04 pm #

I wholehartedly disagree with your conjecture that refusal to wear a face diaper, and get experimental medicine is somehow not ethical.
          Completely spurious argument

          • Eppur Simuove September 18, 2021 at 10:34 am #

Cheers, spaingaroo. If that’s your concern, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine which received FDA approval on August 23.

          • SW September 18, 2021 at 11:08 am #

            Eppur —

What are you talking about? He is clearly saying it’s the disease that has defeated the vaccine. Look at the data from Israel and the UK with high rates of infection despite high rates of double vaccinations. He clearly said the effectiveness appears to be only about 6 months and boosters after that point should only be given to the elderly and medically compromised.

He was against government mandates (as he clearly stated) due to personal beliefs and citizens’ constitutional rights to individual sovereignty over medical decisions.

And the issue of face masks did not even come up.

        • ThorsHammer September 18, 2021 at 8:30 pm #

I always recommend to mask cultists that they not stop at less than seven masks.. After all ineffective multiplied by seven is still ineffective, but it at least contains a nice biblical number.

And if you include a layer of Saran wrap you can simulate being on top of Mt. Everest.

    • Unperson37854 September 17, 2021 at 6:25 pm #

There’s a school of thought that says only the truly at-risk should be getting vaxxed and that mass vaccination (of the non-at-risk) only increases the chances of variants forming and thus making the vulnerable more vulnerable and the formerly not at risk, at risk.

Combine this knowledge with learning that the Pfizer vaxx has been only 40-60% effective (at best) and waning (even though they told the public it was 95% effective).

Combine this with the reports of lower T-cell counts in the vaccinated versus unvaccinated (the things that help defend against variants amongst other diseases).

Combine this with the unknown long-term side-effects.

Combine this with the known potential side effects (especially to young, not-at-risk recipients).

Combine that with the vaccinated carrying the same viral load as unvaccinated, and being able to catch it and spread it just as easily.

Combine that with 4 peer-reviewed studies (versus 1), and 7 overall studies saying unvaccinated people who’ve had the virus and recovered have better and longer-lasting immunity but are being treated as lepers.

Combine all of these things and you’d think it would wake people up, but it doesn’t. I just had lunch with a group of believers who don’t weigh or want to hear any of this “science” but instead be “told” what to do and “told” they did the right thing.

This fall will be bad, but I don’t think it’ll be because it was a designed killshot, but rather a recklessly rushed new technology with known adverse effects implemented for financial gain at the expense of people’s safety.

      • SW September 18, 2021 at 11:15 am #

I agree. But I don’t think the gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab that was exposed should be ignored. The people involved with that include Fauci and Peter Daszak need to be put under oath and forced to answer what was going on. And if in any way, they or their family or “trusts” made money off the vaccines.

  6. Beryl of Oyl September 17, 2021 at 10:08 am #

On the topic of the CDC and FDA deceit, here’s a link to the Market Ticker dude where he uses the example of what happened with whooping cough to illuminate the problem with non-sterilizing vaccines.

    http://www.market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=243612

I remember hearing about that at the time, all the news stations were warning that whooping cough was back, and they were claiming that it was because adults weren’t getting booster shots.

I had all the childhood diseases, or I had the shots for them, and never in my adult life did any medical practitioner tell me I needed any boosters.

Reading Mr. Denninger’s article, I now fully understand what was going on back then.

It has also become more clear to me what is going on now, in places like Israel especially, but all over.

    • MaryQueen September 17, 2021 at 10:17 am #

The vaccine thing will destroy humanity if not stopped. All generations alive now believe that vaccine stands between them and certain death, a belief cleverly crafted since my mom was a kid. From there it was easy enough to create any sort of panic over outbreaks or pandemics. So they will continue to do it over and over again until people understand that vaccines do not really save anyone from anything, and they create more death and destruction than anything else.

Re: Whooping cough, the only person I know who got that a couple of years ago was my boss’s overvaccinated 15 year old daughter.

      • Beryl of Oyl September 17, 2021 at 10:23 am #

She would have gotten the “revised” vaccine they brought in, in the 1990s then.

      • rainmaker September 17, 2021 at 10:28 am #

Mary – I used to keep horses, and of course the vet wants to vaccinate them against everything, every year. I had to quit getting my horses vaxxed because of the adverse reactions, one so severe that it required the vet to come back that same day to administer emergency medicines. I’m not the only horsekeeper that has noticed this phenomena.

        • MaryQueen September 17, 2021 at 11:17 am #

Seizures in dogs is rampant. One vet admitted to a woman I chatted with that yeah, it’s most likely the rabies shots causing them. I was at the vet to get my dog checkups. They have both been on anti-seizure meds their entire lives. I am nearly positive it was the vaccines they got when I first rescued them. I will never get them another rabies shot.

The women I spoke to that day at the vet and another one I spoke to subsequently, were all there because their dogs had seizures.

          • Hereward the Woke September 17, 2021 at 11:28 am #

I remember speaking with a woman ont he topic of COVID and “anti-vaxxers”.

She told me,” what’s wrong with being an anti-vaxxer?”

She worked in animal welfare and there was a fierce debate over which shots, and how often, domestic pets should receive.

BTW Pfizer’s head is a veterinarian. There really isn’t any excuse for his being confused about herd immunity.

Ishabaka: There’s a very basic question I’d like to ask EVERY human being who believes in this garbage: “What do think the death rate for Covid 19 is?” I’m convinced that most of them think it’s 80%. Only that can explain the massive, hysterical fear they have.

        • hmuller September 17, 2021 at 12:05 pm #

Ishabaka, according to the numbers I’ve seen:
          80% of israeli’s are vaccinated
          20 % are unvaxxed.

Among new Covid cases in Israel
          80% occur in the vaxxed
          20% occur in the unvaxxed

This indicates to me the vaccine does nothing to protect you.

OR – and here’s a really crazy theory. The Israeli government knew the horrible truth about these vaccines and their side effects and long term damage. They vaccinated everyone with harmless saline solution. In other words, no one in Israel got the real vaccine (except maybe the Arabs).

That is a horrible thing to say- are you taking over for Vlad/Janos/Yoho?

Israel has never done anything to “kill off” their Arab population and they wouldn’t. In fact, if you had any actual knowledge, you’d know that they bend over backwards to get them into college etc- sort of like affirmative action but this time for Arabs.

Why they have embraced the vax is beyond me but it’s definitely NOT for the purpose of genocide, of any portion of the country. I suspect it’s political in that there have been many elections the past couple of years, there was a lot of jockeying for position, and likely it was felt that one had to act decisively to “end” the pandemic or else the other guy would win!

          • hmuller September 19, 2021 at 1:03 am #

            Mountain Gal,

See my post below (and do your own research) about radiation experiments the Israeli government performed in the early 1950’s on Jewish immigrant children from Arab lands, especially Yemen. The CIA paid them big bucks to conduct the experiments – a fact often not mentioned in the articles on the subject.

As for Israeli treatment of Arabs, there’s a lot of bad conduct on both sides. Clearly, you have not read what Jewish Israeli’s of conscience have written about their government’s abusive actions.

And while you’re at it, read about what the Israeli’s did to the US Navy ship Liberty in 1967. 34 Americans killed 171 wounded. Big Cover-up.

      • Night Owl September 17, 2021 at 10:50 am #

An interesting point to add onto this is that WEF orc Draghi just made vax passes mandatory for the private sector in Italy.

Interesting is that it is the pass that was made mandatory, but they left in the provision to provide a negative Coroneau test.

Also interesting here is that it is techincally illegal in the EU for an employer to fire an employee over a medical procedure, so the head orc inserted a provision that no employer may actually fire an employee for not taking the shot, but employees must have the pass to come to work, or they are suspended and fined lots of euros.

What this proves definitively is that it is all about the pass. They have now found a way to force the pass without the shot.

        • Night Owl September 17, 2021 at 10:53 am #

I should amend my last line, it should be that the overarching goal for the New Normal future was to install the pass system as fast as possible, so that they can have ultimate control, forcing compliance with the shot and using it to usher in social credit and a UBI that they can deny you when they are finished putting everyone outside of their coprorate friends out of business.

I have no doubt the shot is killing people, however, but it appears to be a seperate prong of the agenda.

          • thirdcoastlegend September 17, 2021 at 11:02 am #

Yes, it is very possible that turning the globe into one giant livestock pen for the plebes is the primary goal rather than large-scale depop.

Then again, there are some fates worse than death…

          • Hereward the Woke September 17, 2021 at 11:35 am #

Agreed. The globalists are perfectly transparent about their aims, as laid out in the WEF and Gates’s presentations. The Great Reset has many prongs that all lead to total control by our lovely global “elites”. One prong is economic destruction via lockdowns and MMT to bring in the new, “green” economy where we own nothing and love Uncle Klaus. The other is population control, probably starting off with a “vaccine” whose rogue spike proteins nestle in women’s ovaries and make them infertile. The final prong is total control of the population via the vaccination pass which can easily be morphed into a broader digital control system which controls our speech, movements, money and freedoms. The vaccine pass is the crucial piece of the jigsaw. And the sheep have no clue what awaits them.

What they did sounds an awful lot like what the Supreme Court and Roberts did with Obamacare.

Obamacare contained the roots of the forced vaccination movement.

        • AKlein September 17, 2021 at 12:50 pm #

Owl, interesting that the pass gambit was initiated in Italy, especially when coupled with your explanation of the clever scheme to bypass the EU provision that an employee cannot be fired over medical procedure. Amazingly, a scheme quite similar was perpetrated by the Romans. According to Roman law, a Roman citizen could not be banished (exiled). So, instead of exile, a citizen that the “authorities” had targeted would be sentenced by the court to be denied access to water and fire in the Italic peninsula. Clever huh!

      • ThorsHammer September 17, 2021 at 12:12 pm #

In my clearer, more cynical moments it seems that is the goal. A world where a few hundred Gatesian pedophiles have access to every flavor of Epstein Island perversions and have control over the Biological Operating Systems of the previously human Replicants that serve their every need.

It has also become more clear to me what is going on now, in places like Israel especially, but all over.

Not clear to me, except they’re either legendary idiots or brazen liars. Could be both.

      • Beryl of Oyl September 17, 2021 at 11:01 am #

I’m referring to the lockdowns to “slow the spread” and what people called “moving the goalposts”.

They started saying “until a vaccine is found” almost right away.

I thought at the time, what makes them think they will find a vaccine for a coronavirus, that they can suggest hiding until then?

What I didn’t know then, is that they did have a “vaccine” in mind. Not a real one, of course, they had an old failed experiment lying around that would have to do.

They really needed something, to accomplish getting that vaccine passport instituted. This “vaccine” would have to do.

There was the other goal of getting people used to the idea of mandatory shots.

So, in Israel, they thought they could lock everything up good and tight (hiding from the virus), and then use the “emergency” as an excuse to experiment with the old failed vaccines, and this time tweak them enough to get them working.

They could not, so they decided to just keep on giving shot after shot after shot so no one would notice.

They are so close to that passport, they can test it.

You don’t think they are going to let a little thing like the shot killng people stand in the way, do you?

Especially when they can blame it on those who did not get the shot, and people will still buy it.

        • Hereward the Woke September 17, 2021 at 11:38 am #

You have to admire their brilliance in choosing Israel. It’s already a small, claustrophobic nation that is used to being in a permanent siege mentality where surrendering personal liberty for common survival is a reflex action. And I’m sure they’ve played the “if too many of us die from Covid, Iran will win!” card.

          • hmuller September 17, 2021 at 12:24 pm #

You reminded me of an experiment the CIA and Israeli government conducted 70-60 years ago to study the effects of radiating the heads of immigrant children. The medical excuse given was controlling ring worms.

The Yemeni’s were especially favored because they were docile and compliant. No one asked ‘why in a crowded classroom do the ring worms only pick the Yemeni children to infect’ But they were the ones taken away and “treated”.

“In all, about 100,000 children underwent these treatments…. The treatments caused many other illnesses: sterility, the loss of teeth and hair, and severe and ugly scars on the scalp and on other parts of the body. According to the most recent estimates, tens of thousands of people contracted cancer or other illnesses as a result of the radiation campaign.”

US federal government is about as dysfunctional as Soviet Government was in 1991. Just massive inertia keeping it together. The reasons are different but the same malaise going on.

US government used to be somewhat corrupted but at least it was functional during the Cold War. Add to the mix the chaos creating new generation of wokesters and you get corrupted and dysfunctional system.

Even worse, a sad bunch of geezer clowns leading those wokesters. The oldest Soviet union leader was only 75 but these clowns think they can hold on to the power into their 80s.

I’d bet some states and cities are soon going to ignore federal government orders and challenge the corrupted structure.

The 2020 mid-terms will be a clusterfuck because Democrats are going to cheat even more and the union of states will start fraying badly.

The American union is now, IMHO, well past its expiration date.

The dissolution of the Union will be a positive development, not a negative one. This accursed “union” has been pinned together with bloody bayonets since 1865. Once the Yankee elites got away with that power grab they were off to the races and we went from republic to empire in no time flat.

Now, with an exploding population of 328 million people, and probably another 20 million unlawful aliens to boot, everything is coming apart and the fact that our Consitutional form of government was designed for a nation of 4 million people and DOES NOT SCALE……has become obvious.

It is time to break up this union and form several smaller countries. Much smaller countries IMHO.

      Will there be problems? Yes.

Will they be any worse than the ones we have now and the ones that are coming at us like a runaway freight train? No.

Might as well get on with the project.

Of the other 50%, there seem to be very few Men.
(not just men-men, but females with the correct approach as well.)

Someone mentioned here that we need more Men:
Men like us that protect our families, land and our livelihoods.
Men that always carry a firearm and continually train proficiency.
Men who don’t blame others for their situations or feelings, and can go Through a problem as easily as going around it.
Men that will keep getting up, no matter how hard you put them down.

Hopefully there are more real Men in Texas than i’m seeing in my little burg.

Because if there is, no one will want to Mess With Texas.

          Well Chet,

Right about here is where the effeminate excuse me “gender-fluid” chorus chimes in with “Just die off now your old racist”.

They choose their enemies carefully. The brutal, entitled, slave-owning Arabs get a free pass (Oh Islamophobic!) along with the Ooga-Boogas of Wakanda-paradises like black Africa, Pakistan and their ilk.

For Eurabia it looks like it’s too late. The British are about to give way and incorporate Shariah law into their legal system. GAME OVER. For the USA? Who can say.

      • Hereward the Woke September 17, 2021 at 5:09 pm #

Wizard: have to agree. The titanic struggle going on right now is all about size. The globalist want total top down control; ordinary people want ground up control. The two halves of the current USA cannot tolerate each other. A break up is coming whether we want it or not.

A map of all the states where the Governors are suing the Federal Government is a startling depiction of the future boundaries of the new Nation I call Heartland. Only Colorado and New Mexico are the outliers, and there is still hope for them.

Florida at one point, Texas on the other, and anchored by Montana to the North.

        To the West, Californicia.
To the East, nothing but Rust.

    • ThorsHammer September 18, 2021 at 9:15 pm #

As Orlov points out, there is a vast difference between the US in collapse mode and the USSR as it fell apart.

In the US most people are temporary tenants in their own homes with monthly mortgages that must be paid, or tax slaves that face eviction should they fall behind with their payments. Once evicted the next step is residence under the freeway bridge. Third World cities may have flavelas and barrios where home is a cinder block wall with a tin roof over it, but that is a step up from the Fentayl ridden tent encampments that have overtaken many of the USA’s once proud cities.

In the Soviet Union during the Collapse most people lived in grim apartment blocks served by large scale central heating. While they didn’t own their apartment blocks, speculators didn’t own them either. In desperate times they just stayed in their homes. The State had no motivation to kick them out and there was no landlord to raise the rent or kick them out to replace them with a better paying tenant. If they still had a job, public transportation still ran and vodka was cheap along with beets and potatoes. So they just survived.

Hard to imagine the USA faring as well after losing its reserve currency dominance, being saddled with a Military Industrial Complex that bleeds off all the surplus off the national GDP yet can’t win the most minor of wars, and class structure that only rewards a few thousand multi-billionaires and has shipped the majority of it’s productive capacity overseas to the cheapest bidder.

Thanks for today’s excellent article, James.

That comprehensive list in the second-to-last paragraph just about says it all: There is a psychological and economic war on us all, going strong, and it means to get worse if not stopped.

I am not as hopeful as our illustrious host is, however, about anything being done about it at the top level of our government. I think it’s too far gone with corruption. My hope is to be proven wrong on that account. I feel as if now, it’s up to us to do something, collectively, although I don’t know what that is, other than to resist the jab and masking and stupid rules and ‘mandates’ they are throwing at us.

Interesting also that Yoho chose to die on his own sword, I wouldn’t have expected that, esp. over a website link.

    • Islander September 17, 2021 at 10:27 am #

I am glad to see the last of YoHo.

His deep and casual misogyny was getting on my nerves, and also seemed to serve as a flag encouraging others to make similar dumb jokes.

I am in no way “woke” and am pretty critical of the many of the further shores of feminism, but Yoho never contributed anything of interest—only raw spleen against women.

I think Yo was a fascinating character, and I’m all for free speech, so enjoyed many of his posts even if they were sometimes on the fringes of taste and decency.

The biggest bugbear I had (if you’re listening, Yoho) was the copy/paste of huge reams of text. I think all links should be accompanied by just a brief explanation or summary to let the reader decide whether to research further or not.

        I’m sure he’ll return.

        • MaryQueen September 17, 2021 at 12:50 pm #

Yes, I also got a kick out of many of his posts and his quirky personality.

I have no problem with the host of any page or blog removing someone who doesn’t follow their house rules. I don’t equate this with a freedom of speech issue or consider it censorship.

          Some here do.

          • Slugoon September 17, 2021 at 1:24 pm #

No, you’re absolutely right, Mary. Jim’s rules are the law here and that’s that, especially if he gave Yo a fair warning. I just like the idea in general that no idea should be off limits, that the best way to resolve them is to bring them into the light and test them with reasoned argument not to censor and sweep them into a dark corner. There’s far too much of that happening right now.

          • MaryQueen September 17, 2021 at 11:16 pm #

That being said, I didn’t mind Yoho being here, I didn’t mind sparring with him most of the time, either.

    Good morning!

I sure hope Jim is right regarding Durham—that this is a feeler, and there is more to come to reveal this huge hoax.

Re ” ***All of that has left the American public demoralized, economically savaged, and the country’s standing in the world dangerously reduced.****”

This is a dangerous situation, IMHO.

The situation of the USA is magnitudes better than the situation of Germany and Germans in the 1920s following defeat, hyperinflation, revolution, huge unemployment, hunger, actual starvation, a hundred sources of huge disruption.

However, Joachim Fest in his study of totalitarianism, spotlights the dire conditions of uncertainty and fear in thepopulace that had been subjected to wild jerks and stresses that were the feedstock of the totalitarian idea in Germany. The yearning for someone to take over and sort out the whole mess.

So, it is really important to insist on the gears of our republic continuing to turn over, no matter how imperfectly they do so.

BTW, is this the opening salvo in the impositoin of CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency?

” Biden proposal mandates banks to track and report all transactions over $600″

    http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/56790.htm

I am all for making the rich pay their fair share of taxes, but this can be accomplished via beefing up the audit function of the IRS. This proposal is IMO a great example of how “laws” are introduced to make the unthinkable “legal”—a la Third Reich. they understood this concept very well.

The idea that transactions **over $600** will steer monitors toward the rich is risible. Most people’s rent is twice this.

This proposal targets you and me. And, BTW, the Main Street banks where we have our accounts.

    • thirdcoastlegend September 17, 2021 at 10:36 am #

The over $600 is absolutely targeted at Main Street, who will no longer be able to easily sell higher-dollar items like watches, jewelry, cars, electronics, camera gear, and the like for cash on a platform with a large audience like eBay and bank the proceeds.

Those people could sell for cash on a local platform like craigslist, but they will be forced to stay in cash by this proposal. That will reduce the utility of the proceeds and make life more inconvenient, which is fine with the controllers.

The same goes for those that are successful at yard sales or flea markets.

I suppose one could break the deposits into smaller amounts, but I’m sure they would respond with, “structuring,” charges as they do now for folks that try to break up amounts larger than $10k into smaller amounts.

Does anyone still believe these people are simply incompetent bumblers?

      • 100th Avatar September 17, 2021 at 10:45 am #

“Does anyone still believe these people are simply incompetent bumblers?”

        Precisely.

That is why you install a silly incompetent bumbler as the face of your effort.

        Or a token mixed-race fellow.

Hitting you in your soft belly of the soft bigotry of low expectations

        • O.G. Hawkins September 17, 2021 at 11:23 am #

          Mixed-race tranny. Please keep up.

      • D from OR September 17, 2021 at 11:33 am #

I sell for a living on one of the more well-known platforms so this proposal caught my eye.

One thing to remember is most transactions on the “wholesale” side are cash (estate sales, flea markets etc). One hand to another. Of course you don’t have to do it that way but that’s the smart way and no one is forcing us as it is preferred.

Most sales transactions on the platform are small (under $100) and bank deposits are grouped. In my case they never break $500 and I think this may be a design of the platform.

For higher priced items I offer buyers the option to pay over time and the payments are then broken up and then paid through a payment platform like PayPal or Venmo. Transfers to a bank account or card from those platforms can be made at any time in amounts as low as you want.

In the case of Instagram many sales are made through DM which eliminates a third party skimming a portion of the profit (this is the reason Instagram has been harassing those selling on their platform). I will get a DM on that platform about an item, the person is nearby and can pick up the item. Hands me cash.

Bumblers is correct. Who would or could police this idea and how? The power structure is OLD, creaky and rigid. Old solutions applied to a 21st century world won’t and can’t work. They’re grasping.

This is how centralized financial power dies.

        • Beryl of Oyl September 17, 2021 at 11:48 am #

Not exactly related, but a restaurant I frequent for takeout has started offering a discount if you give them cash.

We were trying to figure out whether it was the small amount that card transactions cost, or are they hiding money as a way to make up for the big losses inflicted on their business due to the government’s actions (lockdowns, inflation).

We kind of hoped they were hiding money.

We may be heading to a black market economy.

          • ThorsHammer September 19, 2021 at 2:57 pm #

Back in the day a friend of mine closed his used car business to open a vegetarian restaurant. I asked him how selling veggie plates could possibly pencil out. “Cash Business” was his reply. He never made more than a subsistence tax profit, but two years later bought 60 acres of beach front in Costa Rica and offered free lots to all his friends who wanted to move there as long as they agreed to never eat meat on the property..

        • Islander September 17, 2021 at 12:04 pm #

One can fumble around in the details of how you pay for $500 purchases.

That only reinforces my main point, which is that this is NOT about monitoring the rich to make them pay their fair share of taxes.

It is about monitoring and controlling you and me.

IF the government were serius about making the rich and also corporations pay their taxes they would outlaw all offshore havens. They would monitor THOSE transacation whereby billions are moved “offshore” from national accounts with the purpose of hiding them from tax authorities. Anyone who doubts this should watch this excellent documentary on offshore tax havens; it is not just about Britain; startling fact: so much money has been offshored from Africa by African elites that all of those nations are owed money; they do not owe anyone anything, but they don’t have the funds on hand and must continually take out more loans:

          https://www.filmsforaction.org/watch/the-spiders-web-britains-second-empire/

          • SW September 17, 2021 at 12:27 pm #

You’re right about monitoring you and me while putting the fig leaf of “we’re going to tax the rich” on this proposal. Most people are not going to realize this sets them up to be in a technological panopticon where even the smallest transaction is traced and with it, your movements. And if there’s no cash then at any time your bank account can be frozen and you have zero money to buy anything. It’s another layer of surveillance and Big Data collection to add to the layer upon layer already in place.

The really rich are not giving it back and all the offshore tax havens will be in business for a long time. Thanks for the link and I’ll be sure and watch it.

          D from OR-

Thanks for the additional insight into the cash-based economy in the US.

I have lived and traveled in cash-based countries, but here in the US my transactions are almost entirely digital.

I am not as certain as you are about their potential inability to monitor the transactions. Most of that capability exists in the current info tech system.

On the other hand, we do know that the current IRS is understaffed as it is.

I can’t imagine that the supply chain ruptures in the semiconductor space are helping their techno-tyrannical program.

Remember, all those servers that store the databases and manage Internet traffic have a 3 to 5 year service life at best.

On top of replacing those servers, you need all new servers to expand upon the current system. I struggle to see that happening in the current supply chain mess.

          • Not_GeorgeT September 17, 2021 at 1:27 pm #

If I can add to this, one also needs a lot of energy to keep making those semi-conductors. The low-hanging energy fruit is fast disappearing.

This is also my thoughts – when they can’t keep things running well now, and there are already shortages in tech, and add to that planned obsolescence of most things now, how are they going to implement this high-tech flawless plan?

I know they will try. Maybe there is something in the works we don’t see.

Artificial intelligence is the real threat. AI will be used to sift through all the masses of data in real time and to act on it in way programmed into the system by TPTB to enforce their mandates and priorities.

The advent of unbiquitous digital technologies has been the final undoing of billions yearning to breathe free. Life now imitates art. Earth is evolving into a BORG-like society. PC’s, smartphones, ID chips, Big Data, etc. all being used to force everyone to become a drone in the great global hive.

        Glad to hear it!!

But there is always that habit of lofting these little balloons to see just how far they go . . . Doesn’t mean the balloon has been popped for good.

Re digitalization of everything, in addition to the chip shortage aspect, these cloud services and computer farms or whatever they are called require HUGE amounts of energy to cool the computers. Where is that supposed to come from? Solar panels? Wind mills? Really?

One interesting sidelight that I gleaned from the Morgoth video I linked somewhere on this thread, is his take on the Afghanistan debacle. Per Morgoth, a crucial issue is the huge volumes of lithium in the ground in Afg, needed for chips or something digital. Financial-tech PTB want to get their hands on this lithium and they don’t want the USA sitting on top of it and controlling it. So they made a deal with China and basically the USA had to get out of the way and this aspect of the fiasco is not being discussed openly or clearly in the MSM.

For decades the USA has thought in terms of “That is our oil under your sand.” No longer. International finance-tech giants are now in the driver’s seat. “That is OUR lithium in your mountains.”

        Sayeth Morgoth. Worth a listen. . .

        • SmokieHillVillain September 19, 2021 at 4:51 pm #

I think Morgoth got it spot on Islander. Ye ol’ multi-polar world riding into view over the horizon, where the implicit assumption that the nodal points of the decision-making and (political/resource) power distribution would be nation states was perhaps a tad simplistic; what we’ll likely have is some hybrid fusion of FinTech, “Big” This and “Big” That, conniving with selected nation states, where their mutual interests align? Maybe.

On the energy issue, and coming back to the lil’ island that I live on, data centres are becoming the threat to energy security du jour. I read a projection in a business newspaper recently where the electricity demand of 140,000 homes was attributable to data centres (its like….take a small country, and add an entire city plus, said city gets strategic priority over others where people actually live).
[just went to get the article, the hard copy of which I kept; a brief excerpt: “…has been exacerbated by a huge growth in 24-7 power demand from data centres, which in the last four years alone has grown by 600 gigawatt hours (GWh), which is equivalent to the electricity needs of 140,000 homes”. One more excerpt: “If that additional 2GW of new data centre power demand is facilitated on top of the 1.8GW already agreed to, then the proportion of Ireland’s electricity going to data centres could be close to 50 per cent by 2030, and that is before even more data centre connection requests are inevitably made in the years ahead.”
[Think of Ireland as Maine minus the snowy winters, with a few more people, a lot more livestock, a lot fewer trees, but with political aspirations to grow a lot more trees {the wrong kind} and a lot fewer cows…………..effectively the 51st state….or perhaps the 52nd if the UK claims the 51st spot]
Consider that the FANGS all have their EMEA HQs in Dublin and it’s not too difficult to envisage the friendly arm-twisting behind-the-scenes.
Consider also that perhaps the key strategic decision of the last decade was to build an electricity interconnector to France, to tap into French nuclear power, and considering that the Emerald Isle is supposedly on target to be 70% renewables electricity by 2030, which will be exported to our Gallic allies in return for their nuclear, and it might be worth admitting that the notion of renewables facilitating the Big Tech ‘cloud’ is stratospheric in terms of intellectual dishonesty, save a nuclear bail-out.
(By the way, since cows are the big problem – yawn – gubbermint aims to cut their numbers by allegedly as much as 50%, suckler cows that is….with apologies about the nuance, but since this post is quite long enough, an explanation can follow if anybody wants. In summary: cows bad, data centres acceptable. Yes, the crazies are calling the shots).
I say all this because like some posters on the thread, my view is that central planners, while adept at duplicity and expert in the Dark Arts of psychological warfare and propaganda, are energy blind. Will they be able to construct a virtual panopticon, contingent on massive amounts of electrical energy, the capacity to generate it, the infrastructure to distribute it and the capital to maintain it indefinitely? Short answer: no. Not globally, and probably not in the US. But in a small island nation in western Europe? Exporting tyranny 3000 miles to the west?

            Verrrrry interesting.

Lots of energy alnernativistos point to Denmark as the mecca of reliance on wind energy. What they do not factor in is that Denmark is connected gridwise to Norway. And Norway has huge hydroelectric reserves in its mountain lakes. And it is this reserve of hydropower that makes it possible for Denmark to advertise itself as wind=centric and alternative. Partially I think Germany, too, backs up its stochastic renewable sources with reliable hydropower from Norway smoothing out the jerks in the grid.

So, renewable-energy mavens who look to Denmark’s Samso Island as a model are missing a part of the picture if they don’t factor in the role of Norway’s hydropower.

So, what Smokie says, above, about the relationship of Irish renewables and French nuclear suggests that the latter makes the former possible. The Irish will sell into the French grid when the wind is blowing and when it is not, they will draw from the French grid to keep the system working with the needed backup. Right now the technical term for the energy needed to back up a renewables system escapes me, but I have read that the cost of this energy is higher than the value of the renewable energy generated. Or perhaps it is what results in higher prices for renewable energy than would be the case with plain coal-generated energy. I wonder whether the new coal-fired plants that China is building are partly to back up their “renewables” grid. In the USA I reckon this backup is supplied by coal-fired plants. In France by nuclear. In Germany, by hydro and by natural gas.

What republic? You mean the one conceived in 1789 in Philadelphia? I guess you didn’t see the obituary. Two republics were strangled to death in 1861-65: The Confederate States of America, and the United States of America.

An empire going by the name of the old USA republic has been in operation since 1865. It is an imposter, of course, Pretending to still be a republic by maintaining many of the trappings, habits and traditions of consitutional government while violating the fundamental principles of representative democracy in all the ways that truly matter.

Like all empires, it has grown fat, corrupt, violent, immoral and wholly unaccountable to the people it governs. It’s time is about over.

I do not believe that the United States, as it presently exists, will still be in existence by the middle of this century. It might not even take that long. The events of the 2020’s will decide the issue.

    A glimmer of hope:

“A school board in Rockland County, New York, forces the resignation of superintendent Martin Cox, who was pushing for a critical race theory-based curriculum. According to sources, parents banded together, filed FOIA requests, and pressured the board to oust him.”

This happened in a New York City suburb just 30 minutes from Manhattan. If parents can take down a CRT superintendent in New York, can’t it happen anywhere? (Well, maybe not California.)

That certainly is impressive. A hopeful sign, to be sure.

It also proves a point I frequently like to make here. Small, local governmental bodies are the most likely to be responsive to change because they are small enough and close enough to the people to actually be subject to being changed by popular uprisings of local voters.

When it comes to government: Small is beautiful.

      • SmokieHillVillain September 19, 2021 at 5:06 pm #

        Absolutely key point Wizard.
Small is beautiful (cf EF Schumacher)
Centralism just hasn’t worked, despite the one big happy family kumbaya messaging of the globalists (think of the cast of characters from Lagarde, Figueres, Guterres, and even El Papa Bergoglio).
One of the dimensions of culture espoused by the anthropologist Geert Hofstede was power distance. In some ways, the cultural expectation of power relations translated to political systems, and is reflected to some extent in the architecture of national political systems (notwithstanding critique from some of Hofstede’s contemporaries). Small nations can be very centralist in political decision making and there might even be a rationale for it, arguably. But does it scale? In my view, the answer is axiomatic: nope. The world is a mosaic of just too many cultures, perspectives and mindsets to be capable of any kind of homogenisation, ultimately.
Although, maybe global cultural homogeneity isn’t necessary? Except for a global professional class?
        Thoughts to ponder…….

    Inflation watch:

Just renewed a P.O.Box and it went from $130 to $166 – that is a 28% price increase. Last year the price increase was about 12%. In 2018 it was just $102, so that is over a 60% increase in just three years.

Another anecdote is that my lawn guy is now paying his 20 year old lawnmower riders $22 an hour…. that is $22 an hour with a high school diploma in a modest income area.

i don’t know where these items get buried in CPI, but there seems to be lots of evidence that inflation is well higher than reported when you don’t play “hedonic adjustment” – my P.O. box and lawn looks the same as it did 3 years ago.

Ob – I run a small auto glass replacement shop, and the prices of parts and materials have been trending skyward, if you can get stuff at all. Our main sealant, urethane, has gone up nearly 20% in price in the last month, after being at a stable price for years. Parts? Sorry, that’s on backorder ’til whenever. Trash pickup has doubled in the last five years, and the service is getting unreliable, because the trash service is short of help, and they can’t keep their trucks running for lack of parts. I just got a notice from AmerenMO that our utility bill is going to be raised anywhere from 8% to 13% next year. I could go on, and on…

One of the local propane companies was bought out by a big corporation, which did not bother to hire staff to process orders. Also, it was difficult to find propane at all for awhile this past summer. I was told that domestic propane is being exported in preference to serving the domestic market.

“Morgoth” actually mentions the training of a *cadre* of operatives who are working within governments and other agencies and entities.

This is the first time I have see that word, which i have been using and I find relevant to what the WEF and others have been up to. Training and placing of cadres, a decades-long program.

In West germany, people were surprised to find that the guy, the spy, who brought down the Willy Brandt government had been “inserted” into Brandt’s circle and his government at east 10 years before.

Why be surprised? Serious revolutionaries—or conspirators —have a long calendar and plan well ahead.

The CDC’s latest sleight-of-hand fuels the extremely misleading “unvaxxed” hospitalization numbers. And that is, the CDC no longer considers you fully vaccinated until you are past 14 days since your shot:

“For the purpose of this investigation, a vaccine breakthrough case will be defined as a U.S. resident who has SARS-CoV-2 RNA or antigen detected on a respiratory specimen collected
?14 days after completing the primary series of an FDA-authorized SARS-CoV-2 vaccine.” https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/downloads/COVID-vaccine-breakthrough-case-investigations-Protocol.pdf

According to VAERS, 37,000 of the 58,000 vaccine-related hospitalizations have occurred within 14 days. If those numbers hold, that means nearly two-thirds of those hospitalized from vaccine injuries within two weeks will be considered unvaccinated. And since their injuries can easily be blamed on the virus, it bloats the “unvaccinated” Covid hospital numbers. They truly are turning cartwheels to push their narrative.

    • SW September 17, 2021 at 11:20 am #

And to create hostility to the people who remain unvaccinated too. Any positive covid cases are now blamed on the “vaccine hesitant” whose name will gradually be changed to the “vaccine resistors” then the “covid carriers” to the “enemies of the people.”

And even if you’re fully vaccinated, wear your mask when you’re serving “your betters.” And what would be even better is a mask with a smile printed on the front.

      • Hereward the Woke September 17, 2021 at 11:51 am #

Went to a massive demonstration in a German-speaking city yesterday. Someone had printed thousands of stickers saying, “Stick your mask up your *ss!” Believe me, it sounds much better and far more painful in German.

        • SW September 17, 2021 at 12:43 pm #

hahahaha So there’s resistance there too? Here we have some governors who are fighting for us but are being undermined by local mayors. The country is splintering and even in red states like Texas and Florida, the governors could be voted out if enough propaganda about full ICUs, soaring number of covid, etc dominate the news. And lots of money floods the state in the next election.

I have been nomadic for over 4 years now traveling and boondocking throughout the Western US. I meet many people from so many different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds and also travel through many of America’s most forgotten regions and towns. Many have already collapsed eons ago for a variety of reasons. As I see it presently, there are basically two America’s now. One believes all the institutions of government, media, and the corporate realm. The other believes and trusts none of them. The only hope for the future is that a large portion of those in the trusting group finally wake up and join the second group. I don’t think it is likely. Orlov once mentioned the fact that Russians near the end of the Soviet Union knew that their gov’t lied about everything. Here, at least half the population can’t seem to wrap their heads around that possibility.

I agree too that the sheep are totally impervious to facts. To admit the reality that they have been played like 5-year-olds AND quite possibly ruined their health would be too much. Far better to self delude. We shall see.

They can’t wrap their heads around the possibility they’re being lied to because they’ve been trained to believe the culture is their friend.

They are polite even when their “friend” doesn’t seems to be so friendly because of the fear of REJECTION. Taking chances risks being kicked out of “the club” – not realizing it’s really a prison – so they mask up, jab up and pray they’ll still be allowed in.

  20. JohnAZ September 17, 2021 at 11:14 am #

The Deep State scene is a positive feedback loop that cannot be reduced at this point because it is too far along.

The Democratic Party has been foisting illegal immigration on the US for three generations now. The crowning touch is when the Bushes also encouraged immigration. Why? As JHK says, economies need growth to succeed. That is the answer from both sides. Both sides want cheap labor too.

Think about the character of a typical immigrant. They are here because the government they were dependent on has failed them. So they go looking for another government that will support them. Ours.

There are immigrants that are being transferred to our country by organizations such as CAIR or La Raza to weight political agendas. There is a huge misrepresentation of poor folks coming here wanting to be American citizens. Bunkum. The majority are here for economic purposes sucking of the taxpayer tit.

The number one agenda item on the Democratic platform is how to get all these immigrants culled from around the world enfranchised. That is the agenda, the positive feedback. More immigrants, more America hating, non patriotic, ignorant, dependent on government, poor, city dwelling folks to be able to be swung to vote Democrat because they do not even understand words like freedom, independence, personal responsibility.

Every engineering student gets to watch the Tacoma Narrows bridge collapse due to a design flaw that gave positive feedback to vibration from wind. Positive feedback ALWAYS leads to collapse of the system.

It is too late to stop. The counter forces are not only in disarray, they are gone. The last gasp was Trump. His inability shows the futility of fighting the Deep State monster. Today’s GOP is nonexistent.

Watch the continuing escalation of the border crossings. You are watching the positive feedback deluge in operation.

The number one enemy of the USA is the Democratic Party, liberal government centered dogma and the opening of the border. Our rivals overseas understand this and are patiently awaiting the collapse. They have to do nothing but observe and chuckle once in awhile.

Today, the domestic war is lost, the Commies of the 20th century have won. Immigration has degraded the US to the point that autocratic, oligarchical control has won. “Proud to be an American” no longer has any meaning, because there is no longer an entity as America, just a bunch of divergent people fighting over the remaining spoils.

Hint: watch the reaction of the 1% to the 2.9 trillion tax increase that is coming to pay for the welfare package aimed at the immigrants. Watch the capital just drain away.

    • thirdcoastlegend September 17, 2021 at 11:22 am #

It appears that the United States’ pathological addiction to the cheapest possible labor is going to be a major factor in her ultimate demise.

    • 100th Avatar September 17, 2021 at 11:32 am #

At the moment, localities throughout the contiguous states are being flooded with the tens of thousands of non-recidivist, previously deported, and amenable to deportation aliens who have been able to pass through the border protection apparatus on account of a policy of no detention of family units, regardless of status.

But what has Myorkas or Harris or Biden planned for the neighborhoods and communities receiving them?

Namely the schools, clinics, welfare agencies, and police forces?

      Nothing.
      Not a dime.

Because they do not live there.
Their children do no attend those schools.
They do not utilize community services.

As always, the working poor in this country will feel the devastating effects of school overcrowding, school resource realignment (ESL) and welfare/aid reductions.

      But we cannot criticize this.
      Capitalism.
      Exploitation
      Billionaires
      The 1%

      It’s un-American
      Un-ironically so.

Speaking of adverse reactions to the experimental mRNA drug experiment: Back in January of this year, Presidential Puppet Joe Biden was shown being given one of his two-shot mRNA injections. I had always assumed that this pharmaceutical photo opportunity was a fake and that Mr. Biden received only a saline solution at best.

However, Mr. Biden was shown last week coughing continuously while trying to deliver a coherent booster speech for California Governor Gavin Newsom. Is there a chance that Mr. Biden actually received a real experimental mRNA drug injection and now those darned spike proteins have caused blood clots to form on his lungs? On the other hand, maybe his coughing was caused by smoke from the California fires.

    • SW September 17, 2021 at 12:10 pm #

Or maybe choking on lies of what a great job Gavin was doing. Even though he won, California appears to be losing. I found this quote from the article particularly unnerving:

“Toward the end of summer, the red LA sunset takes on an ominous tinge. Watching it of late, I’m reminded of Marshall Frady’s line about California being the climax of our destiny. ‘This is what it has all come to,’ he wrote back in 1969, ‘the place where America gets its signals of what is about to happen to it.’ ”

      https://spectatorworld.com/topic/life-in-la-murder-california-crime-los-angeles/

      And here’s how he won:

“Democrats also flooded the state with over $100 million in anti-recall spending, swamping proponents. Public employee unions were the biggest contributor, but George Soros sent in $1 million and Reed Hastings, the head of Netflix, was good for $3.1 million.”

Or he could have lung problems from putting a filthy damp rag on his face.

BTW they used to warn against putting masks on small children to filter out smoke.

“Small children should not wear masks. California’s Dept. of Public Health points out, “Children should not wear these masks – they do not fit properly and can impede breathing. If the air quality is poor enough that a child requires a mask, the child should remain indoors, in a safe place, and evacuation should be considered.”

I totally agree with JHK on this. If word leaks out that it’s the vaccines that are responsible for most of the injuries and deaths. People are going to go ballistic especially when the MSM, Gov’t and Health Org’s keep pushing out that these vaccines are safe and MUST be taken.

As always while not sharing, I acknowledge JHK’s unfailing optimism as concerns Durham. We surely need sources of optimism in these abnormal times.

That the covid “wars” may be the step too far that awakens the masses is evidenced by the parental units storming local school board meetings and the antivax numbers resisting government mandates. Old Joe’s handlers may have set him up for a fall.

How/why? We may contemplate as insurance should brother Durham actually become a threat to the now leaky facade covering the multiple crimes our host presents. When it becomes every man for himself things happen in a hurry.

Of course much of this presupposes that Durham is willing to subject and endure himself and team to the inevitable counter attack by the deep state abilities to find any deviations from pristine personal habits no matter how benign, in his personal life.

Is he and team willing to risk it all to save the Republic?

A Public Service Announcement for the Negative Wavers:

I have been reading Kunstler’s work for a long time, since at least 2004. And yet the blog itself, rife with relentless pessimism, often enough bears little resemblance to its host’s position (which I have never detected to be hopeless). While he admits that the optimism of endless growth, American Exceptionalism regarding our standard of living, etc… is grossly misinformed due to Peak Oil and other converging calamities, his body of work still envisions a sober and livable future for the nation, albeit in much scaled down form. Why do commentators rarely ever focus on that? Are they stuck inside there own existential moratorium that they cannot hear beyond what their own head tells them? It often seems that some folks don’t even bother reading that actual post that they are blogging to or at least try referring to his overall body of work. Admittedly, there are many commentators on this site who may be better informed than myself. Thank you all for I have learned more from you than you have probably learned from me. But there are just as many who throw in the towel at every turn and IT’S SICKENING!”

While we as Americans have been on the ropes for a LONG time, we are not doomed to be so forever. So if ya can’t project even a bit of optimism, or a solution, then what good are you? Mind you, I don’t need hope from this blog. I’ve already gotten that taken care of with my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (which the nation was based on). Still, as a PSA I thought I’d say my piece. Take it or leave I don’t care.

          • Amman September 19, 2021 at 3:12 pm #

Speaking of what sticks, I think that sooner or later a major continent scale breakup, separation, rupture, will take place between the Classical World (“Old World”) and the New World. Of course, MSM has names for these type of connections e.g. Trans-Atlantic Alliance but I think this Rupture will be far more serious and consequential and therefore something worth looking out for in emerging trends. Given, and in the case of, the historic US Israel connection, a rupture is hard to see and frankly seems impossible. I would be alert tho in the context of the LE C nine-teen. Forewarned is forearmed.

        • MaryQueen September 17, 2021 at 8:03 pm #

Why are you trying to police the thread? That usually doesn’t go well.

Well, we can say a bottle is half full, rather than half empty, but the reality is that the bottle will never be full again. Unless of course you do what Jim Morrison used to: pee in it and hand it back to the waiter as a souvenir. Personally, I’m pessimistically optimistic: a lot of terrible crap will go down sometime soon, but the globalists will fail and there is just a chance that something new and better may come out of this mess.

    Canadian Update

“Coo roo coo coo coo coo coo coo!
Coo roo coo coo coo coo coo coo!”

    “Good day, eh!”

    —–

The last 48 hours have been Really Bad up here.

Local TV is going on and on about “the highly contagious Delta Variant” and record cases and hospitalizations and ICUs.

Alberta premier Jason Kenney waited until Canadian Hero Patrick King was almost to Ottawa and then stepped on and over Mr King’s Legal victory over the hoax there in Edmonton: mask mandates, VaxxPass, no more patience.

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe yesterday announced mask mandates, VaxxPass, no more patience.

Federal election on Monday. Just in! True Dough will win come Hell or high water (imho).

Things are hurtling so fast out of control now. It’s show-time! Whatever this show is, it’s now on.

I am going to the Saskatchewan Legislature Building this afternoon.

    • cowbell81 September 17, 2021 at 12:57 pm #

Yes. They are called mini-sticks. Great game for the young. You play in a room on your knees. Piano benches and blankets make Great nets. You play with a small, heavy ball that hurts when you make a save.

It’s less fun after 40 and unthinkable at 56.

FYI – That particular mini-stick is branded Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League. The most famous General was Bobby Orr who played Junior hockey in Oshawa (in the mid-1960s) before changing the game in Boston.

Just how simple is that infantile little mind of yours that it can be incensed by black and white screen pixels that are not directed at you in any threatening way?

Why is it that all the little pant crappers, lacking in even rudimentary emotional self-control, pop out of same slimy age group?

Interesting article on the fire that destroyed Google’s Larry Page’s “guest cottage” if a 6 bedroom, 5 bath house can be considered a cottage.

I thought he was living off the grid on a South Pacific island these days, yet the article implies that no one really knows his present whereabouts.

Sounds like he is turning into nothing more than a slumlord, considering he owns entire blocks of real estate being used for mysterious purposes. Can’t say I feel too bad about his loss of this property.

Interesting note from the article: “When he acquired a complex of homes over a decade ago, he completed extensive renovations that included an enormous underground hole, according to two people who live in the area.”

So, I take it that the Texas Department of Public Safety launched that chopper to circumvent the Biden regime’s futile attempt at censorship with that drone exclusion zone, eh? Brilliant. Gotta love Gov. Abbott and his crew for doing that.

I hope they keep filming away from up there. The American people need to see that the entire population of HAITI is being imported into the United States via Del Rio, TX.

But what I’d really like to know is this: Who in the Hell is transporting the Haitians from their island nation to Mexico? Who is funding that? The typical Haitian doesn’t have 2 cents to rub together, much less can they afford plane fares or passage on a boat. They sure a heck aren’t swimming across the Gulf of Mexico.

I smell the hand (and financing) of George Soros and his DNC buddies here.

Thank you for this post, JHK.

I sense there is an information vacuum waiting to be filled, or explode, regarding Ivermectin. Japan has apparently recommended it for Covid treatment, as apparently has India or some states therein. How can the rest of the world, including Israel, credibly ignore such reports and apparent successes?

Query whether the Dems. have been relying on Ivermectin for some time — hence their seeming lack of concern about wearing masks when the cameras are off. Have they all been taking maintenance doses? The administration is openly providing Ivermectin to refugees, ostensibly not for Covid purposes. https://dutytoamericanews.com/2021/09/03/horowitz-cdc-endorsed-use-of-ivermectin-for-afghan-refugees/

Any thoughts on why Biden is deluging the U.S. with Afghan and now Haitian refugees? How do either help the U.S. or the Dems.?

    • cowbell81 September 17, 2021 at 2:05 pm #

When you need to get an Ivermectin prescription from a doctor, just tell them it is needed for an Afghan refugee and then all should be approved.

This article brings me joy – here are a few of the highlights, and link below:

“From Aug. 29 to Sept. 4, 14,308 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were wasted in Wisconsin.”

“I think we underestimated the amount of people who would choose not to be vaccinated,” Needle said.

There’s also a cost associated with the waste. The government reportedly buys the vaccine at $15 to $19 a dose. Wasted doses equals wasted taxpayer dollars.

The directive to vaccinators, Zaibak said, is “Don’t turn anybody away, because that might be the last chance to get that person vaccinated.”

IPO coming up for Rivian, manufacturer of an EV truck. Hucksters are claiming the value of the company could reach $80 billion! Only problem is, Rivian hasn’t manufactured or sold one truck yet other than the mockup Jeff Bezos is driving around in.

Another problem: base price is $73,000.

    • O.G. Hawkins September 17, 2021 at 2:57 pm #

Why is a base price of $73k a problem, Heckler? That’ll be a low-end, economy-vehicle after the depop.

      • BackRowHeckler September 17, 2021 at 5:59 pm #

OG who’s going to buy these trucks at $73000? Will people be taking out mortgages to get them?

Also, in order for an auto manufacturer to have a value of $80 billion, how many vehicles does it need to sell per year. In my unschooled mind the econometrics don’t pencil out.

        • O.G. Hawkins September 17, 2021 at 7:58 pm #

Heckler, you have such a normalcy bias.

After they reduce us from 8B souls to 1B drones and “reset” the US$, the new economy will be much smaller. Only the elite will be able to buy and own vehicles. Ones that are $73k now will be “bottom of the barrel” then as they only produce thousands rather than millions.

Today’s phoney bologna stock market is another matter entirely. Certainly there are thousands of equities valued WAY more than any reasonable multiple. The stock market is primed for the smart money to cash out and the dumb money to crater, imho.

The vaccine will bring us together. As humans, we are inevitably separated by nationality, race, class, religion, and party. But once we cease to be human, we will all be as one. Don’t you want to be one with people once they’ve been purified of their humanity?

and strangely prescient. I love David Rohde saying how we need someone like Fauci, a man of science, who we can trust. I wonder what Rohde is saying now, maybe hiding under a rock somewhere? Look at us now, only a little over a year later. We the people no longer know what to believe, our last bastion of science we no longer believe or trust, totally discredited. Nobody has any idea what is now true about covid, the fall of Afghanistan, 9/11, climate change, the WHO, Epstein, how did he know EVERYONE? Why was Gates hanging around Epstein, the Clintons hanging around Epstein, Gates’ wife divorces him after years of marriage? All we see as little people are extremely strange events that we think and want to beleive have no connection? How could they? But its obvious, or it should be by now that there is a whole secret world of the Elites’ world going on behind our everyday world. Oh I forgot the Clintons pardoned Dr. Gallo, one of the supposed early HIV AIDS researchers in the late 1970s early 1980s. Another poster on here had posted Dr. Leonard Horowitz vid from the early 1990s showing in research he has done about Aids and Ebola that Dr. Gallo was involved in biological weapons research by the DOD, NIH, National Academy of Science, etc. It seems impossible to say now that HIV, maybe Ebola, etc, are not created by man. It seems that Covid must be the same. We now know that Fauci lied, Big Pharma is in on it, the corporate banking, Big Tech… Really, anyone who isnt?

How can we the people possibly fight and change all of this? I see no way. The only way is to turn away from the evil, dont be involved in it and like JHK says, become self sufficient, help one another the way our granparents and great grandparents did in small towns where we will have to be strong togther to survive the collapse. We will need to live the way people used in small groups and towns and communities.

When a man like Lt Col Scheller is punished and the higher leaders will not stand up and be responsible, you know the whole thing has gone wrong. I am a vet and am ashamed of Afghanistan and am glad older vets I knew have passed on because this is unbeleivable. I am glad they arent here to see this. The flag only means something if we beleive in it, otherwise its just fabric, and its obvious there are WHOLE BUNCH of people who dont give a damn about the flag, who dont beleive in anything above and beyond themselves.

I grew in the 1970s and 1980s listening to heavy metal, but as I got older I didnt listen to Metallica and Megadeth anymore. I see now they were way ahead of their time. They are never more relevant than today.

I posted the below link a couple of weeks at which time Islander asked me if there was an English version link. Sorry but I haven’t found one. Also this link does not not completely capture the revelation by John Cusack’s character (Dr Kevin Christie). There was more afterwards. Anyway, if anyone is interested it is still available on Amazon Prime (for now). The title of the 2020 8-episode series is Utopia. It’s pretty graphic and, while most people on this blog wouldn’t be too surprised at what is revealed, the dramatization of it all is really shocking. In a nutshell, what’s really happening behind the scenes of the planned-demic. Global population reduction and……..

I guess I will never understand why some still hold out hope for an internal system correction. This kind of naive optimism and constant appeasement is what allowed the rise of nazi germany.

I think leviathan can yet be defeated, but it’s going to require a realistic and pragmatic approach. The opposition needs to prepare a detailed action plan no different than how the allies created specific objectives.

The era of Trump is over – its now time for the colonels. It will take strategic war gamers that can perform honest strength and weakness evaluations to begin the very long claw back process.

Of note is the opposition is of course just waiting for this kind of leadership group to emerge. Otoh, any decent strategist will also recognize that their arrival on stage is anticipated, and will have counter measures prepared.

It can be done, but one must realize it’s 1934. There is no mechanism nor appeal to humanity that is going to turn the state away from its present course. Peace can be achieved only through organized efforts to only accept unconditional surrender.

    • SouthernYankee September 18, 2021 at 6:54 am #

Mitchellc I agree with you. The system cannot correct itself. But a subset of an element of the system (the colonels) may be able to effect the necessary change but not through political means or negotiations. I cannot conceive what that will really realistically look like but, alas, we have reached the Rubicon and now must cross over.

    • Anthea September 18, 2021 at 7:52 am #

I share your view. Unfortunately, this could wind up looking quite a bit like the Thirty Years War in the Holy Roman Empire in the 1600s.

I’ve been reading “Global Crisis,” which is an almost tediously detailed discussion of the worldwide usurpations, civil wars, and insurrections of the 1600s. I was impatient with it at first, but I’m starting to think of it as a good history lesson. The author argues, probably correctly, that this worldwide turmoil had a lot to do with the contemporaneous Little Ice Age and the resulting famine.

On the other hand, we could see the secession of one or more of the states–which seems like it would produce a lot less turmoil. But I’m not well versed in military matters, so I could be wrong about that.

It appears to me that the Federal government–besides projecting an image of extreme weakness and incompetence on the world stage–is also in a position of weakness vis-a-vis civil uprisings. If the dollar goes to shit, their position will be even weaker.

In a recent interview, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn stated that many of the crazy events occurring now, such as the Afghanistan exit, are intended to distract from the stolen presidential and downvote elections:

“Transitioning to all the noise that is bombarding the American psyche, it’s all intentional. Don’t think this is all a bunch of haphazard things that are happening within our country. The bigger 60,000 foot strategic view is that the country is being taken over by a very small minority of people that we call the Left, which are really a group of Marxists and communists who have decided over decades, and this is not just about Trump, have decided now is the time to do it . . . and they did. They outmaneuvered the Republican establishment during this last November election. . . .Let’s talk about what’s coming out of Arizona. Everybody knows this election was stolen. No way in the world 80 million people voted for the administration occupying the White House—no way. . . .This is no longer a conspiracy theory about election fraud. This is a conspiracy alright, but it is a conspiracy within a group of people that stole the U.S. Presidential Election and also stole parts of the down ballot votes, meaning the Senators and Congressmen.”

        Hi Mary,
I’m not sure about all of the other countries, but I have heard this about Tanzania…
The president there was the one who tested goats and papayas for c0vid, and got positive results, revealing the test to a fraud.
He reported that he was approached by the IMF and WHO offering several billion $ as a bribe if he would go along with the program of vaxines and shutdowns. That agreement also came with a strict non-disclosure agreement.
So the president of Tanzania, said No. Then suddenly he got sick and died. “Surprise surprise!”, as Gomer Pyle would say. I have a hunch this is the same deal that was offered to many if not all the other foreign countries who have piled on board with the “Program”.

Meh. Arrange for a home birth with a midwife, or, failing that, plan an unassisted home birth, unless you have a high-risk pregnancy. I had my last three kids at home. These were planned unassisted home births.

The vast majority of births are uneventful. So much so that in former times obstetricians were were scorned by other doctors as “baby catchers.”

Home birth is very preferable to hospital birth. It is much less risky to mother and baby, and normally much less painful.

As always Armand stepped out his door very early to retrieve his newspapers. Early to bed early to rise…etc. etc. As always he checked first through a shaded window that there was no neighbor present with whom, if he were a normal person, he would be expected to acknowledge with a smile or hello. This was the morning of Tuesday Sept 16, 2014. They would be the last papers he’d carry into his home.

The morning of Sept 22, a Monday, I screwed into place the capstone to the wooden pyramid I had been building the past two months. How many passing cars had stopped, stared and given me a thumbs up? How many passers by on foot had asked “but what’s it for?”

Quite proud of my handiwork, I shot some pics then adjourned to my man cave to escape the heat. The phone rang. It was a detective from the Miramar, FL police department. Uh oh, my brother lives in Miramar. He died suddenly and had lain on the floor some 5 or 6 days. He was a recluse and I was the only person he communicated with and even then not too often. A typical email was annoyingly brief and usually concerned vitamin supplements, the stock market, or the price of silver. The lady next door, herself an employee of the police department, spotted the pile of unretrieved papers at Armand’s door and correctly surmised the worst.

I was able to determine Armand’s date of death as September 17 and so today marks the 7th anniversary. He lived precisely 77 years and 4 months to the day. A day has not passed since that I have not thought of my brother and the unusual life he lived. As they say, “I could write a book.” His ashes reside in a cardboard box within a cylindrical plastic container hanging from a hook in my pyramid.

    • Tate September 17, 2021 at 5:27 pm #

Is this pyramid your “man-cave”? Was the pyramid intended as a shrine to your brother’s memory based on a premonition of his likely death?

Was the pyramid intended as a shrine to your brother’s memory based on a premonition of his likely death? – Tate

No, not at all. His sudden death was a total surprise. The pyramid was a shrine to my planning and carpentry chops. – Q.

An update from the Security State (via CNN) on the rally tomorrow. Somewhere from 500- 700 people will be attending the rally. The Department of Homeland Security is concerned about violence from rally attendees and the “opposing groups” who will be holding counter demonstrations. CNN does not report on who these “counter” groups are, and what they are opposing.

Another tactic of repressive regimes is to use pro-regime thugs to attack peaceful anti- government demonstrations.

In this case, I’d presume the “opposing group” is a pro-regime Antifa force. So for the first time in US history, Marxist revolutionaries will be on the side of the US government.

    That should tell you everything.

This belongs in the HOW DUMB DO THEY THINK WE ARE bin.

I would take the opportunity to inform my doctor as to why I am, hell, no, not taking the jab. which is, actually, what I did. I asked her to write an exemption for me. I followed that up with info on the VAERS database showing that according to my medical history, and I expect her to care about my medical issues and my assessment of my medical risk.

The fact is, even to talk to your doc you will have to pay a couple hundred bucks to get into the office. Why bother? You can inform yourself better on the Internet.

Right. I live in the capital city, Regina. It is about 200k. Saskatoon, 2.5 hours north, is also about 200k. Moose Jaw is 40k and 3rd largest city.

The rest is rural with small towns and little “cities” like Prince Albert, Lloydminster, North Battleford, Yorkton, Estevan, Swift Current, etc.

The southern half of the province is farmland. The northern half is Canadian Shield (rock, bush, lakes and mosquitoes).

Scott Moe? Seriously? So the guy is a stooge which Merriam- Webster defines as “one who plays a subordinate or compliant role to a principal.” intransitive verb: to act as a stooge, i.e.
congressmen who stooge for the oil and mineral interests.

So, who are Larry and Curly? You can’t make this shit up! LOLOL

I’m really starting to think that Darwinism is really playing out on the grandest scale of all with the following difference. Today it may not be the strongest which will survive but instead the most perceptive and prescient with a healthy sense of foreboding.

Those in the know are like a herd of deer or sheep, or perhaps a flock of birds which suddenly flee or take flight for no apparent reason to unwary humanoid observers on the ground. They sense something which humans cannot as human senses have been dulled. Still, the humans stand perplexed by the behavior of those stupid critters now squawking away, now stampeding across the terrain. But suddenly, the earth trembles and quakes. A fissure in the earth opens, trees fall, buildings collapse, flames flare up, the and so on. Those “stupid” animals which couldn’t add two and two to make five now perch safely on higher ground while down there in the valley…the wailing, the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

Thank you Mr Media but I’ll trust my gut on this one. Jack Kevorkian was not the Doctor of Death. That (dis) honour goes to Little Anthony and the Faucists, the REAL psychotics in the current madness.

        Amman,

No, most provinces in Canada are proceeding to, or have already set up, vaxx passports, restricting where people can go, as well as mandating the jab for certain work sectors. You can, of course, refrain from getting jabbed, it just means that the unjabbed are the new untouchables. And it’s just step one.

As a social animal we each have a threshold attraction to where power is seen to be accruing. When the threshold is exceeded the region of the mind where objective reasoning resides switches to rationalizing gravitation toward that locus of power accrual.

Recommend anyone who hasn’t to watch Netflix’ House of Cards. We just finished it and I am twice as cynical about the Deep State than I was. Some over dramatization but you will recognize most of the shenanigans from history. It is fun trying to figure out which people and events are shown by the fictional characters.

Watch at your own risk, if you have any faith in the US government, this should remove it.

Proof that great “TV” is still being made. A question that occurred to me, watching the first 5 seasons, was, “Why do they want us to watch this?” Used to be to buy toilet paper, but things were simpler back then.

I always thought it strange that Kevin Spacey and Bill Clinton were such obvious buddies, while Spacey was playing a character obviously based on Clinton, in a rather unflattering way. Then I thought it was strange that Spacey was MeToo’ed, in advance of the final chapter of the Epstein saga, in which Spacey and Clinton show up, together. Then Spacey’s YouTube videos…

It all seems like an inside joke.

But I still look forward to watching Season 6 – gonna need to housesit so I can get it done in a day. And I see a Season 7 is planned.

Still got my money on the bob-tailed nag (the Hildebeast).

‘The opposition needs to prepare a detailed action plan no different than how the allies created…’ mitchellc

What would that detailed action plan include?

‘Peace can be achieved only through organized efforts to only accept unconditional surrender.’

If you include violence and bloodshed in those organized efforts maybe so. Now we have violence (nation changing, open borders, invasion, etc.) by the Left, through ‘peace’. Yes, some say it, eventual peace, or nation saving, through violence.

Picture a few thousand heavily armed patriots by the border, say at Del Rio, firing their ARs at the invaders. Then a few hundred or a few thousand in other places doing the same. Patriotic citizen cells offing foreign flotsam and other unassimilable aliens. Showdown time. There are far more armed citizens than cops or NG. Which heads will be cool or hot, prevent or exacerbate civil war?

Some say this is all that’s needed. Millions(?) of patriotic soldiers across the nation, putting it all on the line. But yes, where are they?

    • mitchellc September 17, 2021 at 11:56 pm #

I’m assuming actual former (and active?) military are presently engaged in planning & formulating offensive plans.

I mean really, at the end of the day, who just lies down and surrenders? Name any great society, any great conflict – when did anyone just give up without a fight?

So why now the USA? No salamis, no lepanto, no lexington, no sedan? Just give up before even trying? (Pro tip: which one resulted not only in defeat, but govt reorg?)

Yeah, it’s coming. The problem is that the eventual winners still can’t resolve the basic problem that this is all a horrible mirage.

Were not even supposed to be here. But the promise is a dramatically scaled down reality that somehow peacefully organizes within scarcity and constraints.

A very high hurdle, which is why the forces of evil seizes on what perhaps they surmised on their greatest chance of success.

      • tucsonspur September 18, 2021 at 3:18 am #

Only the Die-Centennial (maybe well before then) will force the scale down and constraints.

‘I’m assuming actual former (and active?) military are presently engaged in planning & formulating offensive plans.’

That would be nice, but I just don’t think it’s happening. The Deep State is well aware, and would more than likely nip it in the bud.

Yes, a great chance of success for the evil forces. They see that we have, in all practicality, already surrendered.

  57. Sean Coleman September 17, 2021 at 7:57 pm #

Kesa kindly commented about me in the last thread, for which I thank her, but added that I am a boring writer.

Yes, I am aware of that. I dive into the demotic occasionally though, when I am irritated by some piece of stupidity, or affedct to be. But it is plain. Too many parentheses. And I usually avoid apostrophes: I do not instead of I don’t. although I do not go as far as Hitchens and use the word bicycle as a verb. This in paricular makes my style REALLY pededstrian, as if it were not awkward enough already.

Besides, I think Hitchens gets a certain mild enjoyment out of irritating his readers by writing “as I was bicycling through Oxford”. He is actually very funny.

I try to take the oratory out of it, the emotion, the entertainment, because I see one of the problems as the ‘reification’ (the making a ‘thing’) of words, where speech becomes a thing in itself, somethingi separate from the realit it is suposed to describe, and an end in itself.

So, I was invoilved in an arguement in my first year at university, with two frieinds, and argument that dragged on over two if not three days, about the words status and prestige. I had already been reading some of hte many mediocre books in the universtiy library, in the social sciences section, where I decided that the authors were merely playing with words, moving them around the pages in not-so-pleasing patterns, but not saying antything.

So, I argued, prestige and status werre the same thing. They disagreed. One, who is now a clinical psychologist (or was, he will have retired) explained that you can have a certain status within a group but also have prestige for some quality or achievement of yours. No, I replied, they are essntially the same. If you get added prestige then it raises your status. (The pair of friends are extraverts, by the way.)

So I like to take the rhetoric out of it because it is a distraction. And I use brackets a lot because I want to add side-observations without breaking the flow of the main argument.

I think what I have is insights, in some few cases, rather than reason or critical thinking. I can claim no credit for them because I do not think I have earned it, really, beyond a bi of reading and a bi of thiking (lots do this but have little of value to say). But when you have a worthwhile insight you have to share it.

    I am no artist.

    • Sean Coleman September 17, 2021 at 8:11 pm #

Reification. It is like where i argue that the media’s reality is a parallel thing to real reality. It does not exist except as words on a page or in broadcast. Dutch psychologist Trudy Dehue uses it when discussing the invented medical disorder ADHD. It exists only (as E Michael Jones might put it) as a category of the mind rather than as a category of reality. (EMJ claims that the idea of ‘whiteness’ is a category of the mind.) Or you can say that you have a pain in your back because you have lumbago, which just describes the symptom of having back pain. So ADHD is not just a dsscritpion of restless fidgety behaviour in children, it becomes the CAUSE although it does not actually exist. And now adults can have it too. In some cases they may have it but not have any symptoms! (Remind you of anything?)

Anyway, whatever insights I may or may not have had, they ahve all been overtaken in the extraordinary developments of hte last eighteen months, where, day by day, an appalling reality is coming into view, somehting that has long been there but few could see. I don not think I could really see it at any rate. Even the extraordinary, invisible collective fantasy we have been living in has been overshadowed by this evil conspiracy, which is now undeniably a ‘category of reality’. If anyone can persuade me I am wrong here I will be grateful.

      • Soul Forensics September 17, 2021 at 8:27 pm #

The DSM iterations are just artificial designations in an attempt to give cachet to all the pseudo-afflictions that boost Pharma/pychoanalysts’ paychecks, as you say in the case of ADHD (as just one example).

I like it. Maybe your verbal style is “grounded.” In reality. Language subservient to meaning and to reality. Should be a goal for everyone, and a requirement for “art” also, I think.

      • Soul Forensics September 17, 2021 at 10:26 pm #

Anyone who professes style “requirements” for Art belongs between the Bearded Lady and the Sword Swallower at the exhibition.

Actually, Stalin did just that. Entire generations of artists — poets, musicians, painters — were destroyed by his “suggestion” of optimistic Formalism.

        • gustafson.robert.22 September 17, 2021 at 11:03 pm #

was not trying to describe a stylistic requirement for art a la stalin or any other repressive influence, but a kind of ontological requirement (maybe, big word, i dont know)…a requirement that art, to be art, must not lose its tether to reality and become mere decoration – thrills and frills with no connection to the core of reality. Which seemed to be how Sean C was describing his perspective on what writing should be…that solid relation/connection to reality was more important than frills, “style”, skilled but shallow “word-salad”… I agree with that. integrity over technique, flash, dexterity

          • Soul Forensics September 18, 2021 at 12:54 am #

No, you used the word “requirement”, which carries an ominous meaning, as can easily be seen in the long history of artistic oppression. The relationship between art and politics is more one-sided than that between David and Goliath, though the outcome, spiritually and fortunately, is entirely similar.

There is nothing wrong with decorative Art. Not all Art needs to have a prophetic or “serious” vision.

An enormously problematic reality of proscriptive top-down views (we’ll leave aside edicts for now) is this: who decides? You downgrade (if not wanting to totally eliminate) “decorative” art. But what constitutes “decorative”? Would you say that Dylan Thomas’ poetry is decorative? He admitted, along with critics, that he wasn’t trying to provide meaningful “content”, but focused strictly on aesthetic appeal. And good for him. The world would be much poorer without his work.

Poetry, painting, novels: 90 per cent of it, just like 90% of everything (Sturgeon’s law) is shit. But it all has to be thrown at the wall for history to sort out. One look at the current book burners shows how subjective, temporal (i.e. political) attitudes become solidified, encoded, and acted upon.

          • gustafson.robert.22 September 18, 2021 at 7:15 am #

i like your points, although there’s some contradiction in saying, “90% of creative output is always shit, but there are no definable ‘requirements’ for the good 10% separating it from the other 90.”

I like the arts being a free zone where you choose what you like, and freely argue about what’s good quality or not and why.

          • Anthea September 18, 2021 at 8:44 am #

While I agree that literary productions must have substance, sometimes ornament conveys substance more effectively than dry recitals of facts. The ability to capture reality in words almost requires it. Reality is often ironic–or humorous, or cries out to be skewered by wit.

My model for writing of substance that is judiciously ornamented by wit is Albert Jay Nock.

In the other arts, “mere” decoration is or should be beauty–which is pretty much the same thing as the descent of the Holy Spirit into the work and an expression of transcendent reality.

      • Soul Forensics September 18, 2021 at 2:21 pm #

“there’s some contradiction in saying, “90% of creative output is always shit, but there are no definable ‘requirements’ for the good 10% separating it from the other 90.” ” –gustafson.robert

Ah, but that’s, again. where the problematic “requirements” word surfaces again.

Art is like Science in this way. Many people would say, “What? Are you crazy? Science is about facts and observable reality, whereas Art is completely subjective.”

But that’s a wrong understanding. Science is never settled. It’s based on theory, then the scientific method, then corroboration (or refutation) through further checks on experiments and studies. Then THOSE studies are further replicated or dismissed, etc.

Art is much the same. It’s never settled, and, like Science, critics and other intelligent people who scrutinize specific works of art, can explain, in actual objective terms (effective metaphor, aesthetic appeal, tonal range and appropriateness, narrative power, and on and on and on) how it works or doesn’t work.

In this way, with Science and Art, everything can be scrutinized, and a consensus develops. In both fields, a specific author’s or scientist’s reputation can be downgraded or promoted, even after 200 years (though time usually makes reputations less volatile).

        • gustafson.robert.22 September 18, 2021 at 3:04 pm #

I like your unpacking there. I’m not married to “requirement”. Maybe not best term.
I also like Anthea’s post above, with more observations about how “substance” relates to “ornamentation” in the arts.

I do think there is, in all good art, a vital link to reality (elusive “substance”), even in more “decorative” arts. If a culture suffers from much delusion, that cultural delusion will be reflected in decorative arts of that culture, to the art’s detriment.

In a healthy culture, “substance” in art may be less overt. Arts may seem highly decorative, but reflect the health and balance of the culture and derive their “substance” from that cultural health.

In imbalanced, unhealthy cultures, the healthiest role of art becomes more oppositional to the status quo i think. It must somehow disconnect itself from cultural deformations and point towards healthier cultural alternatives.

“Requirements” may imply policing. How about “prerequisites” to good art, “essential ingredients” of good art. And “vitality, “connection to reality” or “substance” as an essential ingredient of good art is a very generalized standard that might be met in an infinite number of ways in a whole spectrum of contexts.

          • Soul Forensics September 19, 2021 at 1:59 am #

Yes, perhaps I erred too harshly on the semantic distinctions, but I’m a stickler, to a fault sometimes, for accurate designations. In this case, though, it brings clarity.

Since we’re talking terms, I’d replace your “substance” ( a bit vague) with “morals”. Art starts from a moral base, though we might list a number of different attributes, as you have done.

          • gustafson.robert.22 September 19, 2021 at 2:34 pm #

I like the clarifications. Moral base, yes. (with “moral” being well defined)

I don’t spend time on Kesa’s lengthy meanderings. Don’t think they are “demotic,” though. Often kind of disjointed.

I don’t see anything wrong with “bicycling” as a verb.

But, I do have a friend who pronounces it BIH-CIH-kling—that is,first two syllables emphasized, with two long i’s . That is a bit affected, I think.

    • MrMangoOnMyShoulder September 18, 2021 at 10:31 am #

Sean, sorry but I’m with your clinical psychologist friend on the status vs. prestige argument.

Status can be both positive and negative, depending on where you fall on the achievement chart, i.e. high-status or low-status.

Prestige always infers achievement and respect, and never the lower end of the status spectrum.

      • Jarek September 18, 2021 at 12:33 pm #

You’re defining status in a neutral or technical way whereas Sean is defining it, in popular fashion, as having positive value. He’s right from his pov, but your use of words is better. In any case, you two aren’t disagreeing.

People will argue for hours, days, or years (as did Sean’s friends) without taking a minute to define their terms.

    Mentally ill….

“ Update (1620ET): Minutes after the FDA advisory panel rejected the Biden Administration’s plan to dole out booster shots to patients as young as 16, the same panel returned and voted unanimously to temporarily approve Pfizer Booster jabs for patients who are either a.) 65 or older, b.) immunocompromised or c.) both.
Ultimately, the panel voted 18-0 to support an emergency-use authorization (a more limited clearance than a full approval sought by the administration and Pfizer) for people 65 and older or individuals at high risk of severe COVID.

Ahead of the vote, analysts at several Wall Street banks and research shots told clients a limited authorization would be the most likely outcome amid a groundswell of opposition for a broad booster dose.”

So pervasive was the criminality that bringing the malefactors surrounding Russia-gate to justice would be an Augean task. You wouldn’t know where to lay your hands.

But it’s not that the resources don’t exist because just look at the massive administrative apparatus at their disposal just as it is. And, even if they were short some people, a government that can conjure ‘money’ at will can surely drum up the bodies necessary especially given the swathes of lawyers littering the landscape who are just scratching by trying to stay on top of their student debt. So hire them. There would be enough that would glad for a decent paycheck.

And surely it isn’t that evidence is in short supply. Just look around. It’s knee deep in every direction. And it surely can’t be that the matters at issue require the most finely-tuned Ivy League legal minds because the misdeeds are so glaringly obvious that even semi-literate preteens could grasp them.

The problem is of a different order. Nobody wants to put life and livelihood at risk heading up such a venture as jailing the perpetrators of the most odious and atrocious assault on the Republic’s institutions since the Kennedy rub-outs.

I can’t remember who wrote it but he was right on the money. He said that any serious attempt at political and economic reform would incite a rebellion by those with a stake in the system as it is. And I’m pretty sure that by ‘rebellion’ he meant the highly kinetic variety.

We saw the rampant investigative and prosecutorial misconduct after Trump’s victory. Now just imagine that it wasn’t Trump that won but rather someone with serious intellectual and organizational and administrative skills. Imagine that he led a serious political organization instead of that half-assed shambles of a Republican Party half of which can’t figure out what it’s about one day to the next. Imagine that he had a following of seriously capable people committed to MAGA and ready and rarin’ to take up the reins. As sure as Sunday they’d shoot the fucker dead.

You could write a book to answer that question. But, in a few sentences, to drain the swamp (as Trump would say), to dismantle the neo-liberal world order and to close hundreds of foreign military bases and leave foreigners to their own devices. If China chooses to fill the gap left by the USA and ruin itself via imperial over-stretch the way the US did (and the UK) then let it.

The odds of success are slim as the people – both American and non-American – benefitting from present-day arrangements are rich and influential and will fight tooth and nail to keep it. They are leeches that are killing the USA and much of the western world but they think they can suck its life-blood indefinitely.

As sure as Sunday they’d shoot the fucker dead.

Yessir. Trump tiptoed around action on a lot of real issues because he knew that he would be a very easy target if he overstepped.

He talked about things, though, and that made him better than the other “options”, because at least he got people thinking and talking about topics in which many had lost faith (like America being good as it was, despite its faults).

I often wonder what he’d be doing in regards to covid regulations/mandates right now if they hadn’t handed over the reins to Joey NoPulse and his Merry Band of Jagoffs. Would he be doing the same? Probably some iteration of the same, I suspect..

He still does his thing at rallies, but now has to throw in the obligatory “get your vaccines, folks” comment, just to make sure he can still be viable (and not seen as “anti-science”) come 2024…tiptoeing atop the fence. He knows what he’s doing, or someone in his camp does.
