Young Donald or someone else?

And so it happened years ago on the Trump family’s annual Christmas pilgrimage to Paraguay that Papa Fred and Mama Mary Anne fell in socially with the circle around Klaus Furtwänkler, Waffen-SS Gruppenführer (ret.) in the little resort village of Nueva Bavaria. The former commandant of the Flossenbürg work camp (granite quarries) introduced young Donald to the song “Danke Schoen” popularized by the vocalist Eva Braun at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.

Since earliest childhood, with his love for the “spotlight,” Donald had entertained the family with renditions of Disney’s beloved hits, “Zip-a-dee-doo-dah,” “When I See an Elephant Fly,” and “Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee (an Actor’s Life for Me).” The next evening, on Furtwänkler’s 3,000-hectare estancia, before an audience of fifty “special guests” at the Heiliger Abend buffet (Arapaima snapper with red cabbage and potato salad), Donald performed “Danke Schoen” to wild applause, propelling him into a career in show business. Not a few of the frauleins present fainted.

To protect Papa’s real estate business interests in Queens, New York, Donald adopted the professional name “Wayne Newton” and was withdrawn from military school to perform on the county fair circuit across the states that would later self- identify by the color “red” — but which, given our adversarial relations with the USSR at the time, styled themselves red, white, and blue. Six month’s later, “Wayne” caught the eye of Las Vegas promoter Sal “Cukarach” Vaselino while playing the Refrigeration Engineers annual meet-up at the Sands Hotel, and then after a six-week smash engagement at the Golden Nugget in 1963, “Wayne” was inducted into the notorious Frank Sinatra / Dean Martin Rat-pack as its first underage member. (Rat-pack consigliere Peter Lawford introduced the talented lad to the concept of “sloppy seconds”).

Who actually was it onstage at the National Organ Transplant Association Convention, 1967?

“Wayne’s” membership in the Rat-pack was terminated in 1968 when he was photographed glad-handing Republican party nominee Richard Nixon after a speech to the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Annual Defending Sex Crimes Conference. The years following that incident were his self-styled “lost-in-the-wilderness” period. The first of several bankruptcies forced him to live in an abandoned Paiute Indian sweat lodge on the USAF Tonopah Arms Range where prankish pilots sometimes strafed his rude habitation. There, in solitude and squalor, he reinvented his Vegas nightclub career as a ventriloquism act, performing “duets” of the old Disney favorites with his puppet sidekick Jules the Singing Jackrabbit. He debuted the new shtick at the National Cement producer’s World of Concrete show, where he met the showgirl and adventuress, Georgina “Chesty” de la Croix. Their nine-day marriage led to his second bankruptcy.

Broke again, and needing to avoid the Vietnam War draft, “Wayne” (Donald) moved into the Las Vegas palace of fellow Ed Sullivan Show alum Lee Liberace — though he claimed “rent paid” for his lodgings there on his 1968 – 1975 IRS filings, maintaining the polite fiction that he was merely “a room-mate.” The relationship ended when “Wayne” drove Liberace’s ivory-and-ebony inlaid Bentley T-1 into Lake Mead after a week of heavy ayahuasca intoxication. Extensive rehab followed, along with plastic surgery that restored the frontal and vertex regions of his scalp so grievously injured in the Bentley crash. The result is the now-renowned “golden helmet” of hair associated with the White House “star.” But we get ahead of ourselves.

Trump… or Gorch?

Back on the convention circuit with Jules the Singing Jackrabbit, Wayne played the 1983 National Realtors Association Pump-and-Dump Expo and was influenced to get his first real estate license. “Why pay for milk when you can own the cash cow,” keynote speaker Ivan Boesky advised “Wayne,” prompting him to return to his New York City “roots” and resume his identity as “The Donald,” son of “The Fred” Trump. A carefully orchestrated life of public appearances at Gotham charity events and a lavish wedding to model Ivana Zelníková reestablished Donald Trump as a fixture on the glittering Manhattan scene — meanwhile, a Greyhound Bus mechanic and aspiring country crooner named Bud Gorch, a “dead-ringer” look-alike for the erstwhile “Wayne Newton,” was recruited by the Trump Organization to impersonate the once-again in-demand Las Vegas star. Gorch-as-Wayne successfully premiered his new act at the National Colorectal Surgeons Association Chron’s and Colitis Congress and the “great switch” was achieved. The rest, as they say, is history!

In the immortal words of Krusty the Klown from the TV show “The Simpsons” after the airing of a particularly incomprehensible cartoon on his show, “What the hell was that?!”

Total bullshit, nothing to see here.

    • Cold N. Holefield February 6, 2017 at 10:35 am #

That’s what I said when I saw The Pope delivered a Message of Peace broadcast on the Jumbotrons at the Super Bowl. I also said, “WHAT THE FUCK??!!??” and “where the hell am I?”

I’m not sure where we are, but I know, generally speaking, it’s “Somewhere Over The Rainbow.”

The Fix was in on this last Super Bowl and perhaps the several before it, in the least. Pro Sports are tantamount to Professional Wrestling any more. Remember when Super Bowls were boring affairs that were always lopsided blowouts? Funny how that’s now changed. They have it down to a Science to extract every last ounce of revenue they can and The Pope had the nerve, the temerity, to blasphemously endorse this Spectacle as a Game that plays by The Rules. What Rules? If it’s the Official Rules, you have to be fucking kidding me. There are so many cheaters breaking all the rules in the NFL and beyond, there aren’t enough Refs to call all the infractions. And that’s how the games are fixed. The Refs instead call the infractions that change the tide of the game and help switch momentum, just as we saw last night.

Nothing is as it seems or as it claims to be.

      • DA February 6, 2017 at 10:50 am #

I’m glad someone else saw that too. I was rolling my eyes and laughing as Tom Terrific turned on the afterburners late in the second half, knowing full well that this had all been scripted and the outcome was preordained. Utter fucking bullshit!

        • Cold N. Holefield February 6, 2017 at 11:13 am #

Yeah, the Hubris of it all is Absurdly Audacious and In-Your-Face.

George H. W. Bush was rolled out in his wheel chair to flip the coin. He looked like Don Ciccio from that famous Godfather Scene. I was waiting for someone to take a knife to his bloated belly and rip him open from navel to neck. Instead, a miracle happened with the Patriots coming back from a 28-3 deficit late in the 3rd Quarter. Sure. Whatever. The Pope delivered The Miracle — how fitting and appropriate.

          Sicilian Revenge

Speaking of Poppy Bush, remember his famous “a thousand points of light” comment? Well, last night Lady Gaga’s half-time celebration of Moloch featured that “thousand points of light” in the form of drones. “Drones, drones everywhere — as far as the eye can see!!” In twenty years, drones will be so thick in the sky, they’ll provide Global Dimming so there’s no need to worry about Global Warming. Fun. fun, fun for EVERYONE!!!

Drones, Like Corporations, Are People Too.

LOL! Poppy and Babs wheeling out in their electric cadaver carts, him reduced to grinning like a retarded simian and slobbering all over himself. So much for going out with any semblance of dignity! The facade is definitely beginning to slip.

I know they don’t do really do it anymore, but in the past didn’t the sons of the elites hafta take a chance getting their ass shot off in a senseless war their fathers started and profited from?

doesn’t George HW get any credit for that?

BTW– I don’t have a tv; so does Barbara Bush still resemble the Cream of; er, Im mean, the Quaker Oats man?

Not that it matters or anything… Im just askin.

          • DA February 6, 2017 at 3:42 pm #

Yep. Babs is still “all that” alright. Poppy looks mostly drugged out, feeble-minded, and ready to die. I actually feel sorry for the old guy, getting wheeled around and used as a prop these days. Read up on GHW’s backstory in Russ Baker’s fine Family of Secrets. It’ll change your mind about everything you thought you knew about their extended criminal family. Poppy was quite an operator in his day.

Drones would be better than the nanoparticles being sprayed for geoengineering, since you can’t breathe them..

          • Walter B February 7, 2017 at 7:46 pm #

thwack – indeed sir you remember correctly. In the past, those who would rule were sent into positions of leadership where they were tested and where they made their name or perished in the attempt, as Joe Kennedy junior so did. Historically, once a society grew decayed enough, the sons of those that ruled were excused from such testing and silver spooned into the positions vacated by those that spawned them. Without testing, without learning, without proving that they were capably of leading at a level already attained or better, incompetents became the leadership of the future. Hence the reason why the Windsor’s are stuck where they are, don’t you see?

In a society that simply hands down leadership from one generation to the next, it does not take long for inbreeding to take effect and once a few incompetent silver spooners hold the reigns of powers at all, if not for too long, well irreparable damage is always the result.

          • thwack February 7, 2017 at 8:58 pm #

“In a society that simply hands down leadership from one generation to the next, it does not take long for inbreeding to take effect and once a few incompetent silver spooners hold the reigns of powers at all, if not for too long,”

            *******************************************

            Hold on Walter.

            Is it “inbreeding?”

            or

            as you mentioned before:

“those who would rule were sent into positions of leadership where they were tested and where they made their name or perished in the attempt,”

would both dynamics ultimately have the same effect?

Personally I think its a good custom to thrown your son into the “shitstorm” you helped lit?

Maybe you would think twice about lighting stuff?

          • Walter B February 8, 2017 at 11:17 pm #

            Yes thwack, I agree.

        • outsider February 7, 2017 at 12:32 pm #

If you think the games are fixed, DA, then why do you waste your time watching?

      • elysianfield February 6, 2017 at 12:03 pm #

“And that’s how the games are fixed.”

        Cold,
        Not quite.

I have been a fan of the NFL since the mid ’60’s…stopped watching a bit after the millennium. The reason for the obvious, and usually predictable last minute heroics is…wait for it…not quite a fix, but rather the hated defense known as the “Prevent”.

Invented in the late 60’s by Dallas Head Coach Tom Landry, the prevent is designed to allow short passes in long-down situations…thus preventing a first down. The defense provides for a 3 man rush, with the secondary being flooded with defenders. It met with mixed results in the 60’s and later when the game was different, and rules did not favor the passing offense.

I noticed in the late 90’s that when games became lop sided, the winning team would adopt the Prevent and allow the other team to catch up… The Prevent was designed for late down use, but you will see teams adopt it on the first and subsequent downs if the game is in danger of a blow-out. I would opine that ANY journeyman quarterback can look like a Superbowl Hero against the Prevent…

Why would a team that is dominating another change it’s defense and allow this? Two reasons. First, the revenue from advertising can increase as more asses in the seats remain in a close game. Second, even marginal teams can upset better ones in front of the home crowd, providing gate revenue and excitement in subsequent home games. Heroic finishes make good copy.

I only watched a bit of the Superbowl yesterday when cooking dinner…after the Falcons increased their lead to 17, I watched the Patriots go into the Prevent and the results, you might suggest, are history.

I don’t know if there is an unwritten rule to keep the games close, but it is a revenue driven industry, and I would not be surprised…it happens with too much frequency to be accidental. Remember this next time you watch the NFL>

        • elysianfield February 6, 2017 at 12:17 pm #

          ” I watched the Patriots”

It was, of course, the Falcons in the Prevent….

      • seawolf77 February 6, 2017 at 1:54 pm #

Thank you Cold for starting a more interesting thread. You’re right. When I saw him go back to pass on 3rd and 1, guy comes from his right and he doesn’t see him, fumbles. I knew the fix was in. After they ran over the Patriots in the first half, they come out and run 5 more times total in the second. With a 25 POINT LEAD. Unbelievable. This is even worse than not running Lynch two years before. I started looking into it and Bubba Smith said he thought that Super Bowl 3 was thrown. The Joe Namath win. Remember Green Bay had routed the AFC teams the Super Bowls before that. That game made the NFL into what it is today. The Super Bowl was a joke before that. Couldn’t fill the stands.

      • Janos Skorenzy February 6, 2017 at 2:40 pm #

Yes, the Game was a perfect microcosm and symbol of the current state of the world: hard besieged by the forces of darkness, traditional White Patriots turn it around in the 11th hour, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. We saw it in Brexit and again in the election of Trump. Although of much less importance, the Superbowl, by its very smallness, showed the pattern even more clearly.

The Pats are so White that they even let Whites play in positions forbidden to Whites now – such as wide receiver. And of course Tom Brady is hated because He is the epitome of White ability, success, prosperity, good looks, etc. Such a thing could even happen in White America, but now when Whites are the official villains? It’s overwhelming. The Liberals and Blacks have made football into a racial arena – and last night it blew up in their face.

        • thwack February 6, 2017 at 3:12 pm #

          So Janos, let me get this straight;

you are saying the NFL or “somebody” has forbidden white men from playing certain positions; but that same “somebody” could not and did not “fix” the game?

Look man, you gotta be clear about this because a lot of your white brothers are saying the game was fixed; and since some of them are older than you, that means they been white longer than you, so that means they are smarter than you.

You can’t just keep making these vague cryptic statements; its bad for the movement.

          • Janos Skorenzy February 6, 2017 at 4:00 pm #

Read up on the crucifixion of Tim Tebow – in this case because he was both White and far too Christian. The Owners (mostly Jewish) and Coaches set out to destroy his career.

Now you know very well, Blacks were and are raving about how White the Patriots are – just like they used to say about the Boston Celtics in basketball. Liberals feel the same way. Don’t put all this on me. Political Correctness has warped every aspect of our culture – even high school and college sports.

It is weird I admit, but the coaches steer White kids away from certain positions – in high school because they know the colleges don’t want them in those positions and won’t pick them up. Ditto the colleges in regards to the Pros.

          • thwack February 6, 2017 at 4:44 pm #

            Oh I get it,

its like how teachers steer black students away from brain surgery and particle physics…

            right?

Ok, yeah I get it… thanks for clearing that up for everybody.

Janos “How many blacks are capable of such things? Don’t be ridiculous.”

It’s completely unfathomable how any rational sane person could make a statement like that…ipso facto, Janos is neither rational or sane.

How many “Whites” are capable of such things? Only a few…in terms of capable astrophysicists where the name would immediately come to mind, even of a redneck holding up bar in Buttfuck Alabama, it would be Neil De Grasse Tyson.

          • thwack February 6, 2017 at 7:29 pm #

Both you clowns are trying to cock block my amplification. All I did was point out the stupidity of Janos making “solutions” for problems that don’t exist.

Of course a white guy ain’t gonna try out for running back or wide reciever when he knows he’s gonna hafta compete with 10,000 “Jamals” and “KwanDantes…”

Matter of fact, if you are that ONE fast white boy, you are guaranteed a starting position; even if you hafta sit the bench a couple of seasons in order to “find yourself…”

Meanwhile, if you are black, you better start producing from day one, otherwise your ass gets cut.

Janos was making excuses for whites just like I was for blacks.

He gets upset with all the black players on the field; but the league; the industry is composed of THOUSANDS of well paid positions held by white people.

            Think about it?

When was the first time you saw a black official ref an NFL game?

            OK,

            hold that thought,

at that time, when ever it was, you had white fathers and sons officiating THE SAME GAME.

White people have jobs in the NFL that black people don’t even know exist?

I think they make them up on their lunch hour?

          • Janos Skorenzy February 6, 2017 at 8:24 pm #

Tyson is a clown – the perfect caricature of what Blacks think a scientist looks like. And if you can’t see that, you a clown too.

Tyson is a great entertainer and an effective advocate for more NASA funding but has he published any serious research in his field? Just asking about this individual. Is that an acceptable question or am I a racist?
I’m also amazed that he believes we can afford to send people to Mars.

        • outsider February 7, 2017 at 1:09 pm #

Janos does raise an interesting point about how the Patriots seem to have far more white players than most. The usual white positions in the NFL are offensive line, tight end, kicker/punter, and, the ultimate white position, quarterback. It is not unusual for all 11 on defense to be black. As more and more white parents are wisely not allowing their sons to play football, it will become ever more a black game. It may well follow in the footsteps of boxing, which has all but died.

Btw, after this incredible win, I wonder why Brady, at age 39, wants to keep playing. The old man could wind up getting hurt badly and crippled, and his ability is bound to erode. Peyton Manning couldn’t throw the ball over 20 yards his last year. Nothing else Brady ever does on the field could match this game.

          • seawolf77 February 7, 2017 at 1:50 pm #

I think you’re right. One day those stadiums will look like the Colisseum in Rome.

          • thwack February 7, 2017 at 1:51 pm #

The usual white positions in the NFL are offensive line, tight end, kicker/punter, and, the ultimate white position, quarterback. It is not unusual for all 11 on defense to be black.

The argument Ive heard for why offensive linemen are majority white is that it has something to do with “raw strength” and possibly the way it is measured; but I would not doubt white men rule in this metric; after all, in Olympic weight lifting the winner is usually some “Igor Slobinski type”, fat, bald, not particularly muscular looking… but the way the bar bends when they lift it, tells you what up.

Blacks play defense because it requires quicker reaction times since they don’t have the benefit of knowing what play is being run before it is run.; and also possibly read body language and

            and

            that look on yo face?

Finally, Reggie Robbie was a great punter; even if his style of keeping one foot on the ground was rather unorthodox.

If the New England patriots were magically transformed into the Alabama Rebels there would be plenty of press about the “whiteness “of the team. Having lived in NYC and then the Deep South I’m convinced tribalism is alive and well in the world. The hypocrisy of the enlightened northeast does piss me off.

Thanks Cold, as you say we are somewhere “over the rainbow”, and Kunstler captures the drift exactly by illustrating in such fanciful way how “news” has become pure tabloid sensation of stirred up drivel. The hysteria on the Left to vilify Trump makes substantive analysis of his appointments and administrative aims insufficient, instead there must be a continuous effort to characterize him as incarnate evil.

          Janos Skorzeny(bigot that he is)says-

‘How many Blacks are capable of such things? Don’t be ridiculous.’

Neil Degrasse Tyson is obviously intelligent and articulate, he’s also black. Do you think he got into the position he’s in because he is the best person for the job or because he’s seen as a good role model and he fills a quota? The exception which proves the rule in excelsis!

And there is SOME truth in this. People of African descent(ON AVERAGE) are not capable intellectually of doing jobs that require a high IQ at the same rate as people of European or Asian descent. Study after study after study after study confirm this. It’s just a hard genetic truth. That doesn’t mean that all blacks are stupid, far from it, just that on average they are less intelligent(anecdote-smartest guy I ever met is Black and Ethiopian). Shit if you’re black and stupid, but there’s always that enormous schlong to make up for it!

He makes an extreme racist point and you react to it with all the righteous fury of SJW’s! And then make exactly the same gene based assumption (a good one I think actually…), that white guys can’t compete as wide receivers or defensive backs or linebackers BECAUSE OF THEIR GENES! Can you not see the glaring hypocrisy?

I know you hate this but I’m going to assert it anyway.

Black people are on average less intelligent as measured by IQ score(an imperfect measurement, but highly correlated to monetary success in life and in careers).

Ashkenazi Jewish people are on average one standard deviation more intelligent than(other) white people.

Black males have significantly bigger cocks and are capable of significantly higher top speeds than white males, on average.

Asian males have very small penises. I see them in the gym everyday(poor bastards…).

The fruits of our genes are a tough cross to bare. I curse my skinny calves everyday I go to the gym, but I don’t howl at the moon about it. It wouldn’t do any good, but then I thank the throwback genes that I inherited from my African forebears and pat myself contentedly in the crotch…

            OK,

but if I am Janos and I have monetary success in life and career by selling out white people, marrying off my daughter to thwack and “genocidin white people off the planet…”

do I still have a high IQ?

I see these arguments between white people about which breed of dog is the smartest, and without fail it always comes down to which dog breed is best at doing what you tell/teach it to do.

Just because you didn’t tell/teach your cat to shit outside the box don’t mean it don’t know what its doing?

          • Janos Skorenzy February 9, 2017 at 12:22 am #

Thwack makes a good point: g or general intelligence is very important but it’s not everything. Whites have lost all commonsense, the lower octave of Wisdom.

Thwack can speak like a book, his IQ being above the White average despite his negroid genotype and ghetto persona. This is no way contradicts the stats which predict about 13 percent of Blacks having IQ’s above 100, though far fewer are above 110 and almost none above 130 – the requisite for first rate work in the professions or graduate school.

Sorry, short intermission for the Breaking News:

According to the media, Saudi capital Riyadh suffered a missile attack. According to reports, the missile “Borkan-1” (“Volcano”), which is a modification of the Soviet export version of the P-17, struck a military base Mazahimiya west of the city.

I have always said that the answer to Hillary (Ukraine’s Poroshenko) should go to Riyadh (Berlin)!!!

Hillary won California by 4 million votes. That works out to about 70%. It’s hard to believe that she won by such a margin when 60% is a landslide. The answer has to be a combination of two things. 1) A huge amount of illegal voting. 2) Republicans/conservatives not even bothering to vote because their votes for potus would not count anyway. This winner-take-all in the EC is problematical, as far too many are disenfranchised in solid blue or red states. Possible solution: keep the EC, but more states should consider going the route of Maine & Nebraska, where each congressional district is one vote, plus 2 for whoever wins the state’s popular vote.

Basically the one reason I put up with the nastiness in this forum is to make sure I come in contact with points of view that differ from my own. Not that I’m that likely to change my mind, but it’s useful to have your perspective tested and sometimes corrected.

But there are also cases of inadvertent comedy. Here’s Piper Michael declaring with one breath that some people’s rights should be curtailed, then warning with the next that people should be careful what they ask for. This kind of fish-in-a-barrel comment offers some amusement.

But sardonic observations won’t change a thing, so please listen carefully: They’re called universal human rights for a reason. When you start demanding that other’s people’s rights not be respected, you’re setting the table for your own rights to be eaten alive in due course.

William Roper: So, now you give the Devil the benefit of law!
Sir Thomas More: Yes! What would you do? Cut a great road through the law to get after the Devil?
William Roper: Yes, I’d cut down every law in England to do that!
Sir Thomas More: Oh? And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned ’round on you, where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat? This country is planted thick with laws, from coast to coast, Man’s laws, not God’s! And if you cut them down, and you’re just the man to do it, do you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I’d give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety’s sake!”

            A Man For All Seasons

I can’t read the future, but don’t be surprised when it happens.

This new one – unwinding Dodd-Frank – is insane. He also stated in his campaign rhetoric (fake-news/entertainment in hindsight) that he would restore Glass-Steagall! I didn’t believe him (well, I didn’t believe ANYTHING he said) but there are people who were hapless victims of the financial conjob of 2008-2011 who DID believe him and voted for him on that basis, along with so many other things they wanted to hear.

Frankiti: There is no such thing as “universal human rights’”.

Yes there is, as long as we act like there is. That’s how institutions work. Tell me, is there such a thing as Congress? Or is it just a bunch of individuals who show up at a building for no particular reason? Never mind the dysfunction, which is deep and real; the U.S. still needs Congress in order to function. If people just up and decided there was no such thing as Congress, the institution might evaporate, but the power it represents would not — someone or something would fill the vacuum, and it would probably be something worse.

The institution of universal human rights protects the individual against the power of the state. It guards you while you sleep. You attack its foundations at your own peril.

          • Elrond Hubbard February 7, 2017 at 10:11 am #

Man, I wish there was an edit button.

Not only do universal human rights protect you against the state — it enlists the state to protect you against others who would do you harm. The kicker is that the state will also be protecting others against you. Reasonable people understand this to be an excellent bargain, because they aren’t looking to harm others in pursuit of their own interests. Sadly, this forum is infested with numerous examples of the other kind of person. That’s why you can expect me to continue defending universal human rights as long as I’m around.

Those of us who did not vote for Trump are not burning and smashing. That is being done by the anti-fascist Black bloc along with, no doubt, agents provocateurs in order to make a bad name for, and shut down, the sane forces on the Left. When all power to resist is gone, which we are rapidly leading up to, then maybe you will wake up.

Nope – last week The Nation magazine approved of what Black bloc does. So you’re wrong as far as that goes. Chomsky agrees with your caution though: he says – correctly – that you will LOSE any such fight.

We do have the moral high ground – you all ceded it to us with your massive violence against us during the campaign and your savaging of Trump even now after the campaign. Just a few bad apples? Bernie said, “Good work every one” the day after violence forced Trump to cancel the Chicago rally.

    The American Treasure Island

The stereotypes of the Anglo-Saxon civilization are very different not only from the European view point, but from Russian as well.

Most deep stereotypes are associated with the origin of the English democracy, and its ancient prototype: harsh but balanced order on trade/pirate ships.

Cohesion of the team, always ready to change the British flag on a Jolly Roger or vice versa, is guaranteed by the greed, by the external threats, by common willingness to collectively fight a storm or a competitor in pirate business.

However, this ability to mobilize does not involve ideological or clan unity, but to the contrary – is based on mutual hostility and suspicion, of at least two fractions. Only in this way, on the principle of “divide and conquer” the captain can keep discipline and order on board, especially in the moments of distribution of spoils.

Maybe that’s why Trump’s election and the reaction to it of the Establishment could be associated with the plot of “Treasure Island” by Robert Louis Stevenson, a rebellion on the ship and the election of ship’s cook Silver as a captain.

After all, Trump was such a trustee of the establishment for the arrangement of various pleasures: penthouses, spicy entertainment and other private sensitive requests.

On any ship cook is the link between the wardroom and lower decks, using the confidence of both sides. The ship, called the United States, too, as it turned out is at a critical moment, and there are differences – first about who would get all the spoils of the unipolar world and now who would be able to keep them.

The Establishment on the upper deck is confident in its irreplaceable uniqueness and innate right to power and wealth. The deck below, where dwells not only cook, but also personal security, have in this respect its own opinion, all the more that the upper deck is split with contradictions as well as the bottom deck. Aggravate these passions, promise to support both – that is a trick.

By the way, the “Treasure Island” by Stevenson – one of the most popular novels in the world, because it reflects a parable story of the relationship between Britain and the United States, but in a broader sense – between the aristocratic and bourgeois society, between the monarchy and elective republic. Of course, that story is told from the perspective of the British aristocracy.

The American bourgeoisie, rebels against the authority of the British Crown and aristocracy, so the pirates, the dregs of society, had seized the overseas Treasure Island, even though these same pirates discovered it and mapped its treasures.

In some ways, a symmetric response to that British libel is the Hollywood blockbuster “Under Siege” in which the decadent part of the split upper deck with the help of hired part of the ship’s security takes the entire command hostage.

However, the ship’s cook Casey Ryback takes the initiative and first single-handedly saves the team and then takes the command. Curiously, his companion is an all-American “missy” from the cover of a men’s magazine. So the image of brutish and sexist Trump has much deeper symbolic overtones to the US than it may seem from the European point of view.

We in Russia understand these simple symbols more easily than in Europe, with its aristocratic traditions.

Although, to be absolutely accurate, disguised as a rock party rebellion on the American battleship was raised not by aristocrats but by degenerates … latest sectarians of degenerate clergy class. All these vagina-sufferers and adepts of same-sex marriage (nasty Commander Krill from “Under Siege”) were needed by the United States bourgeoisie to keep a tight rein on the descendants of the British aristocracy, without whom the US would never have reached its former heights.

However, it turned out that the cook from the lower deck only pretended to be their own, carefully keeping his Marine jacket with combat awards in a locker.

Trump jacket of Cadet Captain, looks, of course, much more modest. However, the photo suggests that the Scottish aristocratic roots had an impact, and with the understanding of bourgeois made ambitious guy select the bypass and secretive, but a sure path to the heights of power on the ship.

Maybe that’s why the political headquarters of Trump is more like a “Military Revolutionary Committee”, complete with Marine generals, rather than corporate headquarters.

This point is also revolutionary for the US, where even the most respected military like Macarthur, Eisenhower obeyed defense corporations and the financial elite. Strong political Trump’s stance has only one counterpart in US history, and also revolutionary – in the person of General Washington.

However, for the history the similarity of sunrise and sunset of empires is a banality.

Yes, and though a Fascist takeover by the Religious Right theoretically could have happened, in fact in was never likely to since the different sects could never get together. The real danger has always been from the Left which creates right thinking zombies at an incredible rate. More proof? The Religious Right never attained power but the Secular Left did. Reality trumps your fantasies, Job.

    The new underground railroad
More and more refugees are making a dangerous trek north to Canada to escape a harsh new U.S. regime—risking life and limb

    http://www.macleans.ca/the-new-underground-railroad-to-canada/

The taxi stopped at the side of the I-29 interstate after cruising north for about an hour. Their $400 in the cabbie’s pocket, he dropped off Seidu Mohammed and Razak Iyal a two-minute drive short of the North Dakota-Manitoba line. The driver pointed the men toward a darkened prairie field and a row of red blinking lights, wind turbines in the distance. Walk toward those lights, and they could grasp freedom.

“We didn’t feel any sign, but we could feel we are in Canada, because of the cold—very, very intense,” Mohammed recalls. By this point, they were a couple of hours into their trek through field and brush, unsure exactly where to stop. It was Christmas Eve, and fields outside Emerson, Man., were smothered in waist-high snow.

That “Canada” moment Mohammed recalls was a nasty wind gust that overwhelmed these underdressed African migrants, whipping off their flimsy gloves and Mohammed’s ballcap. By the time they wanted to dial 911 for police to retrieve them from the Manitoba roadside, their hands were frozen claws unable to grip a phone.

A trucker eventually rescued them, and a month later they were on a new, safer road, toward possible refugee status in Canada. But their frostbitten fingers are gone. Iyal has one thumb and a half-thumb left. Mohammed has nothing. As the 24-year-old former soccer player lies in his Winnipeg hospital bed a week after the amputation, the ends of his bandaged hands are left open to reveal the skin graft stapled over them to cover the wound. After recalling the extreme burning sensation of that night, the fear he might have died, he can’t stop staring at them in disbelief. “Look at my hands. Look, look,” Mohammed says, cheeks dripping with tears he cannot wipe away.

    • stelmosfire February 6, 2017 at 12:10 pm #

Elrond, Exactly how stupid are these refugees? Walking into Manitoba in the dead of winter, real wizards. You can keep them, please. Not only have you paid thousands for their medical care but now they are disabled and you can support them for life. Can we send you a few more hundred thousand? Give me your address and I’ll point them to your abode. You can take a half dozen in. This area is due for hundreds to come in. Northampton is excited about it. Go figure.

It won’t take them long to figure out what some of us did after visiting. Something is wrong with Canada. Something is just off. There is nothing below the surface. It’s antiseptic, dull, and spiritless. They’ll do as most do; emigrate to the US. There is no there there. It’s a ball of nothing taped together with some hockey and Tim Horton’s coffee, AKA their culture.

        • malthuss February 6, 2017 at 9:20 pm #

          Much is wrong with Canada,

          Curmudgeon says, January 30, 2017

I followed the Zundel trials because I was appalled at the concept that publishing a document asking – “Did Six Million Really Die?” would be taken up by the Government of Canada as publishing false news.
I had known, for several years, that virtually all “news” was “false”, usually through a distortion of context, or omission of important facts.

Despite of the best efforts by the media to manipulate the testimony – ironically to the point of it being false – it became clear that Vrba, Hilberg, et al were being humiliated on cross examination. Yet, the jury still found Zundel guilty. It became clear to me that the [redacted]™ narrative had so permeated the minds of ordinary people, that cognitive dissonance would have been a blessing to their denialism.

          • Janos Skorenzy February 7, 2017 at 12:53 am #

Yes, the Jews admitted to themselves that the Zundel Trial was a terrible defeat. Did they decide to relent? Never. They vowed not to allow any more such trials.

Thought you would focus on the Super Bowl commercial of 84 Lumber. I don’t watch football and only just saw the piece on the net. It seems to me watching it that it was just such a propaganda piece using the usual suspects of heart panging subjects like a women and a little girl I’m surprised a puppy or a box of kittens weren’t thrown in. $5 million to air and millions to produce for a company that a lot of there product is put up using low paid illegals. There making small house kits now that the money spent could of put a lot of Veterans under a roof. Was this political? 84 Lumber owns Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in western Pennsylvania that the Democratic party loves to use and did in 2009 and partied like it was 1999

The 84Lumber tiny houses fit into The Long Emergency vision as a way to engage in downsizing to use less energy, to get out of a McMansion and live more responsibly. Voluntary energy contraction.

“Our tiny homes, ranging from classic to contemporary, are portable and under 200 square feet, giving you financial freedom and a greener environmental footprint. So you can focus on enjoying life’s little moments.”

Anyone who ponies up to run a commercial during the Super Bowl is in it to make money. That’s their first and their last consideration; anything coming in between is secondary. They want your attention, not your approval. If some people find their sensitivities being tweaked as a result, then the advertiser has run the numbers and concluded it’s still a paying bet for them.

I worked the phones for an auto manufacturer once, and the largest number of calls we ever got was over a commercial featuring a baby seal. Some of the calls praised us for rescuing the seal at the end, more than half called us monsters for making them think the seal was going to get clubbed. I’m sure the marketing department gave out bonuses afterward because the point of the exercise wasn’t about clubbing baby seals, it was about making people remember the commercial.

Home builders don’t actually build. They hire subcontractors who contract out to building crews who happen to be cheap disposable migrant labor of mixed legal status. 84 lumber needs cheap homes. They need low mortgage rates. They need sprawl. They need the crews to get their lumber from a place they feel has their back. They want the builders to know that they know how important cheap, disposable labor is to the total operation, to the business of putting people into big oversized homes. They know the suburban Ponzi scam would just collapse without low paid no benefit framing crews. Everyone from realtor associations to developers are against worksite enforcement and curbs on throw away migrant labor pools.

    PELOSI SAYS NO TO IMPEACHMENT

“And that is not grounds for impeachment,” Pelosi continued. “When and if he breaks the law, that is grounds for when something like that would come up.”

Pelosi then tried to get back on the subject of Trump slashing banking regulations and targeting the Dodd-Frank banking law passed in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. Democrats dinged Trump for signing two items on Friday ? one directive that curtails elements of Dodd-Frank, and another memoranda that allows financial advisers to steer investments toward products that benefit them, not the consumer.

Democrats argued that Trump had campaigned on the message that he would be tough on Wall Street, but now was cozying up to bankers and trying to aid their interests at the expense of another potential market collapse.

As Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) said, “On the issues of Wall Street and big banks, Trump sounded like he was Bernie Sanders. He’s not (sic) creating an administration that looks like Goldman Sachs.”

“Instead of fighting for hardworking families abused by our economy as he promised in the campaign,” Pelosi said, “the president and his billionaire cabinet have abandoned Main Street to enable Wall Street’s corrosive profiteering of the banks on the backs of hardworking Americans.”

    • Majella February 6, 2017 at 7:33 pm #

“one directive that curtails elements of Dodd-Frank, and another memorandum that allows financial advisers to steer investments toward products that benefit them, not the consumer.”

This is insanity – find ANY other jurisdiction in the civilised, Western world that is NOT constantly striving to IMPROVE protections for consumers. Yet in the US, the power of lobbyists is so great that they can convince the Congress to legislate AGAINST natural justice, such as the right to negotiate the price of a commodity (specifically, pharmaceuticals). Insanity.

Regarding the question of Moral Superiority of US over Russia

Washington Post: After the fall of the Soviet Union, the U.S. tried to help Russians

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/after-the-fall-of-the-soviet-union-the-us-tried-to-help-russians/2015/05/04/cc4f7c20-f043-11e4-8666-a1d756d0218e_story.html?utm_term=.0348778e680d

US never wanted to help Russia or Russians of course, the Washington Post is brazenly lying, but the fact that it is lying in this way suggests that in American society once again surfaced the question of “Who lost Russia?”.

Therefore someone accuses someone of damaging relations with Russia, and these charges make sense only if the policy of confrontation with Russia is no longer a priority. Hence the “party of war” has suffered a serious setback.

Of course the party of war has serious fighters who are able to stand on their feet after the first defeat, and they will still try to send the whole of mankind to the moon, but for now there will be some time to lick their wounds and regroup forces on the rear bases.

And they suffered the defeat not only and not so much at the hands of political opponents in the United States, but those who provided a major modernization of the Russian army, which again pulled the ground from under the feet of the theory of the Colossus with Feet of Clay, which shove and it crumbles.

RESISTANCE IS NOT FUTILE… TRUMP ENDANGERS NATION

A group of former high-level government officials, nearly 100 tech CEOs and several state governments have all mounted legal opposition to President Donald Trump’s immigration order, stating that it jeopardizes national security and stifles the U.S. economy.

The latest is a declaration filed Monday in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit by former secretaries of state Madeline Albright and John Kerry and several other former national security officials. In the filing, they expressed support for the temporary restraining order a Seattle judge issued last week against Trump’s executive order barring all Syrian refugees and people from seven majority-Muslim countries from entering the U.S.

Trump’s order, they wrote, endangers U.S. troops and intelligence officials in those regions, disrupts counterterrorism and diplomatic efforts, alienates Muslim Americans who could aid in identifying radicals, has a devastating humanitarian impact, hurts the U.S. economy and could feed “the recruitment narrative of ISIL and other extremists that portray the United States as at war with Islam.”

The letter was co-signed by former government officials including former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, former Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, former CIA director Michael Hayden, and former National Security Adviser Susan Rice.

Friedrich Trump, Donald’s grandfather, headed for the Yukon. He wound up in Alaska and opened a tent restaurant whose specialty was meals made from horses that died on the trail.

He then built a wooden structure, the “New Arctic Restaurant and Hotel”, where he merrily supplied prostitutes. After making a lot of money, he went to New York, boarded a ship for Germany, found a wife, then returned to the Big Apple.

Thus Donald’s father, Frederick, was born. Grandfather Friedrich used his Yukon wealth to begin the great journey into real estate, seeing the coming “gold rush” in Queens, N.Y. A new bridge to Manhattan opened in 1909. By 1910, the LIRR began runs from Queens to the magnificent Penn station. A man grasping the moment, seizing the day.

Thus the saga began, and thus the saga begat, Mover and Shaker Donald J. Trump.

So here I am in warm and sunny Jamaica lounging on the beach drinking many White Russians. It strikes me people take everything so seriously. – which is especially ironic given that the universe doesn’t give a shit about us one way or the other. Existence is random.

Instead of being so bitter about how things are (yes, you Cold), just develop a relaxed attitude and enjoy whatever time you have left. That doesn’t mean don’t strive for accomplishing great and noble deeds or lead a totally hedonistic life; just go forward realizing we are on our own.

No, the super bowl was not fixed – look at the gambling line and see that Vegas couldn’t lose, or lose much, because the bets were close to even for both sides. I do feel sorry, though, for the sucker who bet $1.1 M to win a million for a Falcons win. He must have been feeling confident of a big score throughout most of the game, but as the Patriots started narrowiing the gap, he must have been shitting bricks.

Speaking of eliminatory functions, have you ever tried to pee when you were so drunk you couldn’t stand up straight? Think about it.

    Good satire, Jim.

Speaking of ‘fake news’ a satire needs to be done on the NYT. They do a massive front page story on ‘Russian Hacking’ of Jon Podesta and the DNC without once ever mentioning what was in the data that was hacked. It seems like that would be hard to do, but they did it. I remember a few years back when Russia invaded Georgia I bought a copy of the Times to see what their take on it would be; the entire editorial section was hit pieces on Sarah Palin.

    ——————————————————————————————-

BTBill, if you’re still looking in … I envy you, down there in the Islands, the weather is miserable here, freezing rain … anyway, I ran across something that might be of interest to you as a Boston guy. I picked up this book ‘New England Silversmiths and Silver 1620-1815. Needless to say most of it is about Boston, and the Congregational Church. But on a lengthy chapter on Paul Revere they mention a man named Moses Hayes, a close friend of Revere. He was a Jewish Revolutionary War Veteran, an officer, who ran a successful Bond and Insurance brokerage in Boston and commissioned many fine works in Silver created by Paul Revere. What I found interesting is that this Mr. Hays was head of the Masonic Lodge in Boston for many years c1790-1810, and Revere was his second in Command. At the time the Masons were the most successful and popular civil organization in the new United States. Also there was a Boston silversmith named Myer Myers, another friend of Revere. He was a Jewish man trained in Germany, as such he brought a new dimension of Silversmithing into New England. There are many photos in this book; the stuff they created are beautiful and functional at the same time, truly works of art.

Hey Vlad, Free Masons have their roots in the Knights Templar. Knights Templar, Teutonic Knights … we could use them now. 1 thousand years later we face the same enemy they faced.

True, and Jim Jones was once a clean cut young Christian who wanted to help people, both spiritually and materially. But something darker conquered him. Likewise, the Masons turned to evil long ago, seeking revenge against the Christian World who betrayed and destroyed them – or at least that’s the story. There is something grotesque about people like George Washington dressing up in workman’s apron, almost like some kind of Marxist adoration of the lower classes – and thus a challenge to the natural hierarchical order. In any case, who knows what connection if any these people have with the old Military Orders?

The Knights of Malta are being crushed by Pope Francis now, even though they are supposedly independent. He probably has gay dirt on them. Rome has been conquered by the Sodomites. In any case, although they DO have a clear historical link with the real Knights of Malta, they have little of the real spirit left obviously. The Democrats were once the party of White Pride. Now they are the opposite. People can’t keep up because of their rigidity and confusion. It’s like a Corporation who used to sell computers but then got out of it – and then people scream at them, accusing them of still selling computers. Thus the “Democrats are the real racists” rant of Conservatards.

But yes, who can not admire Jacques De Molay’s words on the pyre? The most famous curse in history, “Before the year is over, both Pope and King will join me before the Heavenly Tribunal.” And so they did.

California on verge of becoming a ‘sanctuary state’. Get ready for the whole world to pour into Cal.

California secession? What a plum an independent Cal. would be for China, the Chinese Navy cruising the west coast landing divisions of elite marines in Long Beach, San Diego and SF. Would a Spanish speaking Guardia Civilia be able to fight them off? Maybe a People’s Red army would land in Baja peninsula and move north. I could see Mexico City allowing Chinese troops to land … and using it as a way to coerce a threatened independent, weak California to rejoin the Mexican Union. then there are the powerful Cartels and LA street gangs, they could be sworn in to provide internal security and coastal defense. Of course the chance exists they will turn on each other, or the civilian population. By this time whitey will have fled the Golden State, headed east, even the elite in Silicon Valley and Hollywood, all the posing about tolerance and diversity buried and forgot about, an uncomfortable and embarrassing memory.

Chinese landings? You’re spinning fantasies. Let’s take the idea of California secession seriously for a moment and see where it leads. First question: in the divorce, who gets the nukes?

      – If California keeps any of the nukes, they have a deterrent and there will be no Chinese landings. Even a single nuke will do the job.

      – If California doesn’t keep any nukes, they are effectively in the same situation as Canada: i.e., a military protectorate of the (remaining) United States. They’ll have to become part of NORAD, since the U.S. isn’t going to allow a country in its geographical neighbourhood to become a beachhead for a hostile enemy (remember the Cuban missile crisis?). In fact the nukes will likely stay where they are, even if they’re technically considered property of the U.S. and not independent California.

Chinese landings in North America? Piffle. Not while a single nuke exists.

Tens of millions of illegals inexorably moving onto the Sanctuary State of California, then perhaps an independent Cal., from Mexico and points further south, a collapsed Venezuela, a decimated Brazil where rivers of blood are right now flowing thru the rancid streets, from violent poverty stricken Honduras, all headed north to the Sheltering Sky of the Golden State; roiling masses from India and China headed east on leaky boats, 2.5 billion strong making their way to utopia on Americas former west coast, Africans by the tens of millions crossing the Atlantic, California here we come … and there on the coast large Billboards ‘REFUGEES WELCOME’, ‘WE ARE ONE’, ‘REGISTER TO VOTE HERE’, ‘LINE UP HERE FOR FOODSTAMPS, EBT CARDS AND SECTION 8 HOUSING VOUCHERS’, or just simply ‘LOVE’.

“LINE UP HERE FOR FOODSTAMPS, EBT CARDS AND SECTION 8 HOUSING VOUCHERS” –brh

If California secedes, all those things will be lost as they are USA benefits and California would no longer be part of the USA.

You are right, though, that all you really need is “just simply LOVE.” What the world needs now is love, sweet love, it’s the only thing that there’s just too little of, no, not just for some but for everyone, including Mexicans, Muslims, and refugees who are tired, poor, huddled masses yearning to breathe free. Today’s refugees revitalize, renew, and enrich America just as refugees have always done. America is great because of the great influx of refugees we have had and will continue to have.

We need more Somalis, too. They have been a tremendous boon for Minnesota. The Somali community has a lot in common with President Trump, including their number one goal: wiping out terror groups.

“I don’t think President Trump knows much about the community,” Abdi Bihi, a local Somali-American leader said. “I openly invite him right here to Cedar-Riverside, to meet and see Somali-Americans.”

Rep. Ilhan Omar, who represents the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood in Minneapolis, lived in a refugee camp for four years. She is among several lawmakers speaking out against the Presidents actions.

“The refugees today are not that far, or different, from the refugees, immigrants of yesterday,” Omar said at a press conference on Wednesday. “Your fathers, your grandfathers, great grandfathers, grandmothers, great grandmothers.”

Sen. Al Franken issued a statement, saying in part: “We Minnesotans are inclusive, sharing common values despite not always sharing the same background, religion, ethnicity, or political affiliation—and I proudly represent every single one of you.”

Nobody gets free benefits without being eligible… but most Somalis don’t need government benefits. Somalis are entrepreneurial. Somalis are job makers, not job takers. They create jobs… for everyone, not just for Somalis. Somali immigrants are Cops, Doctors, Scientists, Lawyers, Entrepreneurs, Teachers and… Human beings. They are making our nation stronger.

“Minnesotans Respond To Anti-Refugee Claim By Celebrating The Contributions Of Their Somali-American Neighbors. The state is home to the largest Somali-American community in the country.”

TRUMP TEAM OK WITH HIRING ILLEGALS

WASHINGTON ? President Donald Trump’s nominee to run the Department of Labor, Andrew Puzder, employed an undocumented immigrant as household help, Puzder has informed members of the administration and officials in the Senate involved in his confirmation process.

Hiring undocumented workers has sunk nominees in the past, particularly when it reflects directly on the scope of the Cabinet position. But Trump transition officials told Puzder that the previous rules for vetting and strict ethics no longer applied. “The view in the transition was that’s the old model,” said one GOP official involved with Puzder’s nomination.

You couldn’t be more wrong, volodya. I calling bullshit on your baloney.
If enforced, Trump’s order will “strip federal grant money from the sanctuary states and cities. NYC Mayor De Blasio is among several high-profile mayors protesting the move, calling it a national security disaster.

“It’s going to make cities less safe. That is the bottom line,” De Blasio said. The NYPD has spent decades building relationships with immigrant communities, de Blasio said, and if undocumented people fear deportation they will not come forward to report suspected criminal activity, including terrorism.

“This is the kind of thing that will destroy that progress and make it impossible for the police to keep cities safe,” he said. The mayor also spoke of the need for Congress to provide New York City federal funds for securing the first family.

“It’s put a huge strain on the NYPD to protect not only the First Family and the staff that’s been working at Trump Tower but Trump Tower itself, which is a very centrally located and very vulnerable building,” De Blasio said. “It’s costing us about half a million dollars a day to secure a building that is exposed on.”

“We’re going to keep doing that, it’s the right thing to do. But we do expect the Congress to reimburse the people of New York City and the NYPD so we can continue to do the work of safety all over this city,” he said.

In other words, Trump’s withdrawal of funds to punish NYC as a sanctuary city will directly affect the safety of Trump’s own family.

After a period of reverences and mutual compliments the Kremlin shows to the White House that it is going to play from a “strong” position.

Moscow said it would continue to be friends with Iran and will not exchange the lifting of sanctions for nuclear reduction.

And there was a leak that the most famous “hawk” of the Russian Foreign Ministry may be sent as an ambassador to the US.

Firstly, a spokesman for the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov said the Kremlin does not consider Iran a terrorist state, as the US president Donald Trump claimed it was, and intends to develop relations with this country. A similar comment was made by Sergei Lavrov.

Secondly, the Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Moscow will not even discuss with the US the criteria for the lifting of sanctions, or the idea of the lifting of sanctions in exchange for nuclear reductions, which was some time ago announced by a new US president, and called that US position “completely unworkable”.

Thirdly, the main candidate for the post of the Russian ambassador to the United States insiders call Deputy Foreign Minister Anatoly Antonov, who until recently held the post of deputy defense minister and is considered a supporter of the “hard line” in relations with the West.

    ===================================================
President Trump has lifted the sanctions against FSB, specifically the FSB Cyber-security division.

If he didn’t do that, the US IT Companies would be completely blocked from doing any business in Russia, since according to Russian laws all foreign IT products must be certified by FSB against any possible cyber-security threats.

Speaking in the Senate on March 2, 1953, McCarran said:[4]

I believe that this nation is the last hope of Western civilization and if this oasis of the world shall be overrun, perverted, contaminated or destroyed, then the last flickering light of humanity will be extinguished. I take no issue with those who would praise the contributions which have been made to our society by people of many races, of varied creeds and colors. … However, we have in the United States today hard-core, indigestible blocs which have not become integrated into the American way of life, but which, on the contrary are its deadly enemies. Today, as never before, untold millions are storming our gates for admission and those gates are cracking under the strain. The solution of the problems of Europe and Asia will not come through a transplanting of those problems en masse to the United States. … I do not intend to become prophetic, but if the enemies of this legislation succeed in riddling it to pieces, or in amending it beyond recognition, they will have contributed more to promote this nation’s downfall than any other group since we achieved our independence as a nation.

One of the reasons why Trump is so set on confrontation with Iran, is that he is well aware of the role the Iran played in Iraq war in 2003.

Iran used fake Iraqi “defectors” to spread disinformation about non-existing Iraqi WMDs to convince the US Neocons to lobby for an attack on Iraq.

I find the notion of using US Neocons to make the US get rid of Saddam Hussein and basically hand over Iraq to Iran nothing short of pure genius.

This is, of course, why it is never mentioned in western sources.

Ukrainian Nazis are back on the warpath.

For many months they shelled Novorossia and even tried to carry out some very miserable attacks of local importance.

But this time everything is different: the number of fire raids comes not by tens but by thousands, and across the entire front line. Of course, this is not the direct fault of Trump, but it shows that Kiev acts according to the instructions of the previous power configuration – the Germans, the Neocons and the Saudis.

There is not any indication that Trump takes control of the situation. The good news is that Russians are still waiting, but at this level of violence, they will not wait long and will give the green light to Novorossia counterattack (Novorossia forces already are conducting massive counter-battery fire, just not pushing forward with all their strength).

I’ve got a great story about the cowardly bully cop who supervises the cowardly bully cop who wrote up the false police report related to my daughter’s accident. They, or he specifically, has been tailing me whenever I chauffeur my daughter to the campus since she cannot drive due to her broken collar bone. I think they must have Closed Circuit Surveillance set up because they have been walking by my parked car on two separate occasions/days, and this supervisor has been tailing me all over the place, especially after I video-taped where the accident occurred last week.

I was parked waiting for my daughter late last week and reading a book while waiting, and something prompted me to look up & around, I felt as though I was being watched, and what do you know, in the far remote other end of the parking lot, I was remote as well, there is bully boy watching me, so, I prepared myself for death and drove over to him and parked right next to him and stared him right in the eyes and did not avert my gaze. He became disturbed and ruffled and finally said to me, “do you have any questions I can answer, sir” to which I said, “nope.” He then started his new & expensive SUV police cruiser and drove away.

I will have a blog post up addressing this sentiment. If anything is going to change, we, the few of us, must be prepared to die. Not to kill or murder, but to die. Many will have to die before the 80% can see it for what it is. And the malevolent 10% will be happy to oblige, but I’m afraid that’s what it will take. Many, many sacrificed lives all in the name of non-violence to show The World and show the 80% what a bunch of lying murderers they really are.

Once the Race War begins, you’ll naturally find yourself allied with us. You already have your uniform after all. You may not hate Blacks and Browns, but if they hate you and are coming at you to enact their hatred, what are you going to do?

If you would do even a minimal amount of scholarship, you would realize that you have no ground to stand on, at least none that’s steady. The Founders were proud of their blood and did not see Blacks and Indians as brothers.

        • thwack February 7, 2017 at 5:07 pm #

          What?

The fondling fathers didn’t see a lot of white people as brothers either?

Look what Ben Franklin said about swarthy Germans:

“Why should Pennsylvania, founded by the English, become a Colony of Aliens, who will shortly be so numerous as to Germanize us instead of our Anglifying them, and will never adopt our Language or Customs, any more than they can acquire our Complexion.”

          I AIN’T THRU!

          He also said:

And in Europe, the Spaniards, Italians, French, Russians and Swedes, are generally of what we call a swarthy Complexion; as are the Germans also, the Saxons only excepted, who with the English, make the principal Body of White People on the Face of the Earth.

Give a whole new meaning to the word “Schwarzenegger” don’t it?

          • Janos Skorenzy February 7, 2017 at 8:01 pm #

They were potential brothers, though – unlike the Blacks and Indians. There was some difference of opinion: Jefferson though the Indians might indeed be noble savages, capable of adapting to Western Civilization. He had no such illusions about Blacks.

It’s not just a matter of IQ, but temperament. Like the Pirate, Long John Silver, you can speak like a book when so minded. You just prefer the lower things of life and thus identify with the average Black, despite your superior IQ.

Elrond, I feel for these young fellows. I think what they tried to do was just plain stupid. In my twentys a group of us would camp in the White Mountains in mid winter, often times at temps much below zero. We knew what to expect and we were prepared. Beck Weathers lost his nose on Everest. Do I feel sorry for him? Not really. He knew what to expect but the mountain beat him.

These Somalians did not know what cold can do as they tried to sneak into Canada after sneaking into the US, Maybe they should have studied more. I spent 33 years taking care of people after they made some extremely poor judgments. Poor judgement, stupidity whats the difference?. Kids make poor judgements all the time. These were grown men and should have known better.

You say plain stupid. They say desperate, and I for one am inclined to believe at least some of them. In the meantime, they are trying to get into my country after experiencing the way the U.S. has decided to deal with their cases.

Read the story below and ask yourself what’s more likely — that these migrants, to a man, are risking life and limb in a quest for pogey, or that they want a chance to a contribute to a society that offers them safety and freedom?

22 refugees entered Manitoba near Emerson border over the weekend
Number of asylum seekers walking from U.S. to the province continues to grow

        http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/22-refugees-enter-manitoba-1.3969874

“The number of asylum seekers crossing the Canada-U.S. border into Manitoba on foot instead of through official crossings has drastically increased in the last few months, said Rita Chahal, executive director of Manitoba Interfaith Immigration Council.

        […]

“Record number of refugees checking in at Welcome Place
Ten files were opened last week and, with the recent group over the weekend, Chahal said there will be at least 20 more this week.

        Fleeing from violence

“[Farhan] Ahmed grew up in a small town in Somalia where his father was a local chief. In June 2014, Ahmed said, his father was murdered, and since he was the oldest son, his life was also threatened.

“‘I … received calls that I would be next and I would be killed,’ he said.

“As a father of three and the breadwinner for his family, Ahmed had a tough choice. But in the end he decided to flee in order to find safety and freedom for his family elsewhere.

“The last time he saw his wife was on June 23, 2014, three days after his father’s death. His journey then led him to Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico before he finally landed in the United States in October 2014.

        […]

“He was kept in [detention], trying to make an asylum claim, until February 2015, when his application was denied and he was told he would be deported.

“However, Ahmed said there was a mix-up in paperwork, and he was released under supervision and moved in with family in Ohio.

“They gave me work authorization and then I became a truck driver. I used to drive. I became a taxpayer,’ he said.

“‘I was supporting my family in Somalia, my wife and my kids.’

“Finally, life seemed to be going Ahmed’s way — but it wouldn’t last. Immigration officers showed up looking for Ahmed in Ohio last year while he was out driving.

“Ahmed thought about trying his luck again with an asylum claim, but when U.S. President Donald Trump signed the executive order barring citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries, including Somalia, from entering the U.S. he figured there was no hope.”

And people die crossing the desert from Mexico – so cucks build water stations for them. And invaders drown crossing the sea to Europe – so now the Italian Coast Guard has become a ferry.

We’re doomed because of this kind of toxic charity. I thank Poseidon for their deaths at sea. And the Gods of the North for taking two Muslim warriors out of the fight.

No doubt they will get state of the art prosthetics on the taxpayers dime and be able to get into the fight somehow. If they can drive, they can kill that way.

Janet, your logic is twisted. Yes the injured vet did volunteer. They knew what could happen. It was a risk of the job. Not foolish. I used to walk into burning buildings. I was prepared as best as I could be. I was injured and burned several times and ended up in the hospital. I was aware of the danger. I loved my job. Would I walk into a fully involved room in swim trunks? Of course not. Just like I would not walk into a North Dakota winter with dollar store gloves and a stupid baseball hat.

Lucky break for the Somalis. The Canadians will see them as permanently disabled and pay each $1500/month tax free. And provide free therapy and rehabilitative yoga so they can learn to jack off with their feet. In the USA and Canada, when a baby is born deformed……the new parents are congratulated like they just won the state lottery. The kid is worth an automatic $1200/month SSI disability plus medical, and the mom gets another $1200/month to take care of the little mutant….all tax free. This leftie madness is just one step removed from parents in India crippling their kids so they can more effectively beg from tourists.

“Scrooge and Marley’s, I believe,” said one of the gentlemen, referring to his list. “Have I the pleasure of addressing Mr. Scrooge, or Mr. Marley?”

“Mr. Marley has been dead these seven years,” Scrooge replied. “He died seven years ago, this very night.”

“We have no doubt his liberality is well represented by his surviving partner,” said the gentleman, presenting his credentials.

It certainly was; for they had been two kindred spirits. At the ominous word “liberality,” Scrooge frowned, and shook his head, and handed the credentials back.

“At this festive season of the year, Mr. Scrooge,” said the gentleman, taking up a pen, “it is more than usually desirable that we should make some slight provision for the Poor and destitute, who suffer greatly at the present time. Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir.”

“Are there no prisons?” asked Scrooge.

“Plenty of prisons,” said the gentleman, laying down the pen again.

“And the Union workhouses?” demanded Scrooge. “Are they still in operation?”

“They are. Still,” returned the gentleman, “I wish I could say they were not.”

“The Treadmill and the Poor Law are in full vigour, then?” said Scrooge.

      “Both very busy, sir.”

“Oh! I was afraid, from what you said at first, that something had occurred to stop them in their useful course,” said Scrooge. “I’m very glad to hear it.”

“Under the impression that they scarcely furnish Christian cheer of mind or body to the multitude,” returned the gentleman, “a few of us are endeavouring to raise a fund to buy the Poor some meat and drink, and means of warmth. We choose this time, because it is a time, of all others, when Want is keenly felt, and Abundance rejoices. What shall I put you down for?”

      “Nothing!” Scrooge replied.

      “You wish to be anonymous?”

“I wish to be left alone,” said Scrooge. “Since you ask me what I wish, gentlemen, that is my answer. I don’t make merry myself at Christmas and I can’t afford to make idle people merry. I help to support the establishments I have mentioned—they cost enough; and those who are badly off must go there.”

“Many can’t go there; and many would rather die.”

“If they would rather die,” said Scrooge, “they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population. Besides—excuse me—I don’t know that.”

“But you might know it,” observed the gentleman.

“It’s not my business,” Scrooge returned. “It’s enough for a man to understand his own business, and not to interfere with other people’s. Mine occupies me constantly. Good afternoon, gentlemen!”

Seeing clearly that it would be useless to pursue their point, the gentlemen withdrew. Scrooge resumed his labours with an improved opinion of himself, and in a more facetious temper than was usual with him.

Dickens has another character: Mrs Jellaby who knits sweaters for little Blacks in the Congo while her Scottish tenants die of exposure. Based on a real character. The distortion in the Anglo character has been long in the making and is terminal. Only the Barbarians can save us now. The Elronds are feral Eloi who see their own people as Morlocks.

Thousands of pensioners die of the cold in Britain every winter while the Muslims eat off the fat of the land. Unspeakable evil. The Anglo Lands must be cleansed with fire and sword. We need Conan the Barbarian now not Conan O’Brien.

“How is Kunstler’s concoction any different than the bullshit we read daily in august publications…” –volodya

Simple. Kunstler is offering his opinion about the future. In 1999 Kunstler opined Y2K would be a disaster, that the DOW would go to 4,000, that peak oil would cause economic collapse, $6 a gallon gasoline, national elections canceled, people with pitch forks stringing up bankers at lamp posts, etc. etc. etc. Picturesque doomersterism. None of which came true.

August publications offer reporting by professional journalists who are after the truth of what actually happened or the truth of what is actually happening, BASED ON FACTS. It is not bullshit, volodya.

Professional journalists are about reporting what has happened, not about predicting the future. When they do offer opinion, they label it as such. Big difference. You, volodya, are being disingenuous to pretend there is not a difference between the two.

Elrond, ok, a token expression of sympathy.

But as we’ve seen over these last decades, North America has been hollowed out economically to the point that tens of millions in the US are out of the work force because of de-industrialization from globalization (Canada and much of the formerly prosperous West suffer a similar affliction), the US federal government and other national governments accumulated trillions in debt in their attempt to prop up unworkable national (and global) economies.

I belabor the obvious but you either have borders or you don’t and you either have countries or you don’t and the latter depend on the former. Borders give geographic and physical definition to countries. Countries without borders are not long for this world and neither are all the legal and governmental and societal infrastructure that depend on the existence of the country ie your own life support system.

Influxes of people, both legal and illegal, into a country when there isn’t enough work to go around is a recipe for calamity. Don’t believe me? This is where Trump got traction in his bid for election. The US has been in a year-by-year economic decline and degradation and this has gone on for decades. Quite simply, jobs have been massively exported and there aren’t enough bread-winner jobs to go around. Not even remotely. Not even shit-wage jobs. And so the American economy no longer works. Canada is deeply integrated into the non-functioning American economy and, sooner or later, where the US goes, Canada follows.

This is a very long way of saying that it may sound all enlightened to talk about open borders and all that, but this is rich man’s globalist propaganda. Liberals bought into the scheme because, by and large, liberals tend to be prosperous and liberals depend of the largesse of the oligarchs for employment and – as yet – haven’t been too badly affected by the globalist agenda of impoverishment of the many for the benefit of the few. Open borders to immigration is part of that agenda.

Hard-hearted? Yep. Too bad, so sad, but for the sake of your own personal well being and survival you might want to keep an eye on those borders. Ok, so maybe that bothers your sense of propriety. Maybe in your mind it’s un-Canadian. Maybe it doesn’t fit your ethical framework. But remember what Brecht said, grub first, then ethics.

BTW, given the disaster that’s been foisted on the world in general, and the US in particular, be glad that it isn’t someone a lot worse than Trump.

      THANKS FOR THIS
And, on the rump of all that’s been posted about Trump’s executive action this week….

Islam’s foundational belief is that all non-believers must either convert to Islam or be killed, plain and simple. Also, according to the Koran, Sharia law must be imposed globally, no exceptions. Does living in the brutal times of the 9th Century sound good to you? No, you prefer the modern, civilized democratic republic that Western Culture nurtured for over two thousand years, up and through the Western Enlightenment, resulting in our nation’s founding documents (Constitution and Bill of Rights)? If so, and in keeping with your honor bound oath of allegiance to the Constitution, then opposing Islam (including denial of its faithful into our nation) is not Islamophobia but a duty – “home defense”.

And know what, it’s not a phobia (unreasoned fear reflex); recognizing that Islam’s goal is to destroy all the values and advantages of Western Culture, resisting Islam and denying its believers from entering our nation is not just justifiable, it’s an honor bound duty.

If Trump’s executive action wasn’t appropriate then that should highlight the failing of other agencies of government to restrict immigration of Muslims, along with deportation of all now in this country if they will not disavow Islam and pledge allegiance to our form of government. Muslim Imams in the US now advocating establishing Sharia in place of our Western secular law should, if citizens, be executed for treason, if not citizens then deported.

Only Islam has the temporal goal of global conquest, unlike other faiths that focus singularly on spiritual growth. And, BIRTHRATE JIHAD IS WAR!

Since it appears that our conspiracy-averse host has himself recently indulged in some speculation as to the true nature of the “deep state” and its influence on US politics, I thought I would mention that one learned authority on the deep state, University of California, Berkeley Professor Emeritus of English Peter Dale Scott, has recently released a new introduction to one of his several tomes on the subject, i.e. the paperback edition of “The American Deep State: Big Money, Big Oil, and the Struggle for U.S. Democracy,” Updated Edition (copyright 2017).

Thought some might find Scott’s new intro makes for an interesting read. It has been published by permission in the form of an essay “Donald J. Trump and the Deep State, Part 1,” on the web site of investigative journalist Russ Baker (author of the book “Family of Secrets” about the Bush family). You can read Part1 at the link below. Part 2, I assume will follow later.

“Islam’s foundational belief is that all non-believers must either convert to Islam or be killed, plain and simple.” –cavepainter

Patently false. Islam at it’s core and at its source is a religion of peace. Terrorists who persecute innocent people because of their faith are not welcome — their use of Islam as a scapegoat, does not make Islam what they portray it to be.

      what “book” is that from?

The reason I ask is because it seems to me; if you force a person to do something, they kinda didn’t really do it?

You made them do it; so in a way, it was you that did it?

Is that really what you wanted to do?

Thank you. It is patently false. Why else did 20 million Muslims march against ISIS recently? Why else did Muslims protect Christians in Egypt during unrest there in 2010 and 2011? Well meaning people I know argue that Islam is a violent religion and preaches violence as a basic belief. It follows then that all Muslims are violent and advocate violence against non-Muslims which is again patently false.

But on to the topic(s) addressed by our host.

      (1) fake news – for someone who declares any opposition to be fake news he certainly spouts his fair share. To wit: crowd size at inauguration, (not his only obsession with size) and voter fraud which allegedly denied him his victory in the popular vote. Then there is the “Bowling Green Massacre.”

      (2) mental instability – he shows evidence of a mentally disturbed man. Obsessed, petty, exaggerates his accomplishments, cares more about his appearance than his character and behavior, secretive (tax returns and net worth) and frequently belittles and bullies those with whom he disagrees.

He will be out of office before Easter. The question is what will the backlash be like because he won’t go quietly. Then there is Mike Pence.

      Civil war?
      Bloodshed?

Most Muslims aren’t Terrorists but most Terrorists are Muslim. If your IQ is below 100, you won’t be able to follow that.

Egypt is interesting I admit. Nasser was a secular Fascist and many people are sympathetic to that. We should support such strong men in the Arab World – and not the terrorists.

Terror is baked into the Islamic Cake. Sure at times other interpretations come to the fore – as in Old Spain. But what always happens? Another school of Islam rises up and overthrows the tolerant regime. Or in the case of Spain, a new tribe of ferocious converts attacks from without. Barbarians like their Koran straight. And make no mistake, it DOES advocate force and world conquest.

            Thwack,
Most white people aren’t racist…this is true. The statement that most racists are white is a canard of the highest order. Many, many blacks harbor racist attitudes towards whites, manifested in vague cultural constructs like “reparations”, “white privilege”, “cultural appropriation”, “white flight”, ad nauseum. Many blacks cannot comprehend that various outrages, real and imagined, by the white race have another side to the coin…many blacks can hate whitey but not consider themselves a racist. “Racist” is a special term that applies to whites only.

I would invite you to stop using the term “racist” until you can provide a coherent definition…a working definition.

Genetically, Culturally, or informally? A white person is one that is generally perceived as non-colored in appearance, to use one superficial definition. Self-identification another.

A “white person” is one who, by his/her general outward appearance, manifests visual traits that generally identify with Western European physical influence.

      Thanks, Malthuss.

Like most major cities, Des Moines has tremendous potential for agrihoods. Both front yards and back yards can be used to grow food organically.

Right now, I have only a backyard garden. I still worry about disapproval from neighbors if I replace the front yard turf grass with a food garden. Attitudes need to change. I am thinking of starting a campaign to bring about this change. It must start with the City administration, and removing the ability of neighbors to file a nuisance complaint against a front yard food garden.

Elrond Hubbard, you bring up a good point; if Cal secedes, who gets the nukes, and what about the Navy Base in San Diego? I think the Soviet Union faced the same conundrum when it broke up, in ’89, ‘specially with Ukraine. Seems like it still hasn’t been totally ironed out yet., but they got their navy base in Crimea back. I don’t know, back in 1990, what did happen to the Russian nuclear assets in the breakaway republics? Did Russia gather them up and take them home, or did they stay?

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the White Scientists and engineers who closed down South Africa’s nuclear program. California is problematic since very angry Mestizos might be able to grab power – and not Mexico per se. Many of them want their own thing and don’t like Mexico apparently. Same thing in Europe: Muslims are going to take control of England, France, and Germany and thus their nukes.

“Where did the Poor choices and a deficit of positive role models…and a deep and corrupting sense of victimhood come from?”

            Thwack,
A person of lesser intelligence and a lack of introspection might opine that a dysfunctional culture is somebody else’s responsibility, that poor choices by his parents, siblings and peers are the result of 3rd party influence. and that examples of success in his demographic mere anomalies to be dismissed.

You could argue that the issues you posit are a direct result of a sense of victimhood…never taking responsibility for one’s condition…physical, cultural, emotional, educational and financial.

Blacks were made to sit in the back of the bus…Jews were killed, robbed, humiliated, and run out of countries they lived in for years…why do they succeed? Well, the short answer is they turned inward, developed a supportive culture, revere education and ability and worked their asses off.

Why did the Jews develop their culture…why the blacks? Jews were bonded in slavery in Egypt, if the old stories be believed. Jews approached their victimhood…differently.

            Thwack,
The “faggot” did answer…perhaps you did not understand? You wanted a simplistic answer that you could plug your lovingly held belief that it is all the fault of “whitey”…slavery and shit…that the blacks have been held down…never given a chance to learn, to prosper…black fathers torn from their loving families and sent to the modern day equivalent of the plantation. Your position is foolish and self defeating. The core issue is victimhood…you/ve embraced victimhood at the expense of your intellectual development, as have many of your self-proclaimed peers.

You have no argument, and revert to Ad Hominem attacks to short-circuit what might become an embarrassing realization that a sense of victimization is destroying black culture, and your sense of value. I am beginning to have less respect for your cognitive ability.

“Come out of the bag”? Poppa better get a brand-new bag,…

Leaks Suggest Trump’s Own Team Is Alarmed By His Conduct

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-administration-leaks_us_589a45f1e4b04061313a1fbb?

“President Donald Trump was confused about the dollar: Was it a strong one that’s good for the economy? Or a weak one?

So he made a call ? except not to any of the business leaders Trump brought into his administration or even to an old friend from his days in real estate. Instead, he called his national security adviser, retired Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, according to two sources familiar with Flynn’s accounts of the incident.

Flynn has a long record in counterintelligence but not in macroeconomics. And he told Trump he didn’t know, that it wasn’t his area of expertise, that, perhaps, Trump should ask an economist instead.

Trump was not thrilled with that response ? but that may have been a function of the time of day. Trump had placed the call at 3 a.m., according to one of Flynn’s retellings ? although neither the White House nor Flynn’s office responded to requests for confirmation about that detail.

For Americans who based their impression of Trump on the competent and decisive tycoon he portrayed on his “Apprentice” TV reality shows, the portrait from these and many other tidbits emerging from his administration may seem a shock: an impulsive, sometimes petty chief executive more concerned with the adulation of the nation than the details of his own policies ? and quick to assign blame when things do not go his way.”

Today is a Memorable date of five-year stretch of magnificent funerals:

On February 7, 1981 the crash of Tu-104 airplane near Leningrad killed the entire leadership of the Pacific Fleet of the USSR. Of the 52 victims – 16 admirals and generals and nearly two dozen captains who occupied the admiral’s office.

So many top naval commanders did not die in the entire Second World War

    • FincaInTheMountains February 8, 2017 at 1:36 am #

Apparently, not all funerals were magnificent. Many were buried quietly, without too much pomp, but very effectively, as long as we as useful idiots were sitting in the kitchen [blogs] and not too friendly speculating about Soviet [American] power, creating a masking noise that hide the noise of professional burglars, murderers and traitors.

You know that uncomfortable feeling at the end of the tour as the Tour Guide waits in trepidation for a Tip and everyone in the tour group quickly exits in order to avoid tipping the Tour Guide?

” A rising number of “euthanasia tourists” are flocking to Belgium to end their lives, according to doctors in the country. Last year 2023 people were medically killed in Belgium, more than double the figure of five years earlier.

Of these, many appear to be foreign nationals seeking assisted dying. Doctors at clinics and hospitals in Belgium’s capital say that French patients often arrive with suitcases, thinking that their request to be helped to die will be carried out within a week.

“It’s a phenomenon that did not exist five or six years ago,” Olivier Vermylen, an emergency doctor at a Brussels hospital, told Belgium’s Sudpresse newspaper. “Nowadays I get phone calls about French people who arrive in the emergency room announcing that they want euthanasia.”

At the Brugmann University hospital, where Dr Vermylen works, seven out of 15 euthanasia cases last year involved French people. At the Jules Bordet institute, also in the Belgian capital, French people account for almost a third of euthanasia consultations – 40 out of 130 cases.

In Britain, Professor Raphael Cohen-Almagor from the University of Hull is arguing for legalization of euthanasia as a solution to “death-tourism.” He told the Daily Mail that this phenomenon occurs because sick people do not have access to a law that will help them pass away peacefully at their own homes.

“There is an increasing realization that the time has come for change. It is time to consider legislating physician-assisted suicide in Britain and in other parts of the liberal world,” he said.”

The key to understanding current events and stiff resistance of liberal Media to President Trump, is the infamous phrase of Hillary Clinton after Sept. 7 Commander-in-Chief Forum where Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton appeared separately but back-to-back for 30 minutes each.

If that f *ing bastard wins, we all hang from nooses!

The technical crew for NBC which produced the event leaked out about what took place moments after Clinton walked off the set – a massive profanity-laced tirade aimed at NBC’s host, Matt Lauer.

It turned out that Clinton had been fed all the questions for approval in advance of the forum.

But then, after the approval, Matt Lauer had had a change of heart and he started his questioning with an unapproved line concerning Clinton’s use of an illegal private server for her sometimes classified, work-related emails.

According to a Comcast official (the parent company of NBC Universal) who apparently was quoting those on the set:

“When Matt posed the one legitimate question about the FBI investigation concerning her homemade server and the unsecured emails, we could see she was beginning to boil.”

…softened state of mind, flabby feelings, aversion from all the tension of energy in general, some “feminized” mood paved the way for a fundamental denial of all “force” action (and in particular – the denial of war) in sharp discord with the History’s request for male prowess…

Of course it’s artifice. The people that mouth the word “diversity” mean exactly the opposite. What they do is enforce conformity.

Most importantly, a lot of the stuff you mentioned in your post like first world medical services, internet and cell service, stuff that’s commonplace now, is going bye-bye. An increasingly energy deficient world and a reconfigured and unworkable globalized economy, can no longer support it.

But all those mouthers of the word “diversity” (prosperous bi-coastal liberals) are unshakably convinced that none of what’s coming round the bend applies to them. You and me maybe but not them. They will find out otherwise.

    • Janos Skorenzy February 8, 2017 at 3:08 pm #

Portland, (both of them) is “hideously White”. But majority minority(!) cities are fine and vibrant.

An all White School lack diversity and needs to be fixed. An all Black School is fine and more than fine.

Conclusion? Diversity is a cognitive trick to get rid of Whites since it only applied TO Whites.

Some Liberal intellectuals would admit the contradiction and strategerie and intend to get the Blacks and Asians too. They’re even crazier on a macro-scale since their Diversity just means absolute Uniformity. Elrond is of this ilk.

“All the foreigners flooding to the US are seeking its 1st World standard of living” –cavepainter

This is not true. Standard of living is one reson among many reasons. It is not all about money. Some things are more important than money.

Cavepainter, you have probably not lived where people are “extrordinarily renditioned” (kidnapped, disappeared) by government forces. You probably have not lived where people live in fear of being subjected to “enhanced interrogation” (torture) by actors trained by 1st World armed forces.

Many “foreigners” come here yearning to breathe free, to have some say over the conduct of their daily lives, to live without fear of the 1st World drone bombs falling on them (the 1st worlders don’t drop the bombs on themselves).

Many come here to escape the fear and violence created by corrupt dictators and military / paramilitary forces supported and armed by the 1st World.

In other words, cavepainter, you 1st Worlders sow havoc, poverty and fear… and you reap what you sow. Now you are whining. It is undignified.

    • Cavepainter February 8, 2017 at 11:46 am #

Ah yes, all “you 1st Worlders”,….of course! That is, we common citizens who’ve had global financial influence strip away our national sovereignty, reducing our government down to nothing but a colony of globalization; that pirated our military making it a private mercenary force for special trans national interests; essentially nullified the immigration laws enacted by elected representation to serve the citizenry, defaulting policy to however many foreign nationals choose to ignore them. Sure, pour on the neurotic guilt of the grandiose masochistic Left — with all its cultural relativism — that wishes to swamp the West, collapsing it with the teaming billions (yes, billions) that grow ever more desperate due to societies and belief systems that, for more than any other reason, are failing because they didn’t experience an Enlightenment.

      • janet February 8, 2017 at 2:08 pm #

        OMG! You poor victim!

How many in your 1st World family have been kidnapped, tortured, or disappeared? Cry me a river, cavepainter. Your complaints sound hollow and extremely abstract to me.

You’re providing for how many refugees in your home. Let’s see, how many of the world’s suffering should you take into your private home, distributing your personal resources equitably by whatever is the ratio between,..uh….., our privileged population and that of the global needy? Have you taken on your share, or are you simply insisting that the nation take on the burden of your sanctimony?

According to an article in an august east coast publication, many billionaires and centi-millionaires are doing the survivalist thing.

Apparently they no longer believe that the world system that they created to benefit themselves is workable. And so they’re bailing.

Some are buying up obsolete missile silos and reconfiguring them with survival systems ie security, water, air and food – not to mention expensive furnishings.

Some are buying up space in New Zealand for the same purpose to the point where it’s generating a backlash among the locals.

So, according to the article, the rich are voting with their feet. If it’s true, we’ll see, when it well and truly hits the fan, how such arrangements work out. My prediction is that though they may run, they won’t be able to hide. At least not for long.

I have been thinking about how there are a few old, white men somehow in charge of the rest of us, and what might it take for us to find common ground and mutual interest…I submit that the largest oppressed ‘minority’ is the roughly half of the planet who are born female- L…for purposes of brevity, next are every one who are not cisgendered; G…if you are not white, you’re black- B…and if you do drugs, of ANY kind, you are a Toker…see where I’m going? Except they call all Whites “racist” now – including Justin Trudeau. If he can’t make it with them, you can’t either. And you’d be a fool to try.

Ian Smith, the “White Lion” of Rhodesia used to walk around the capital by himself. Blacks were eager to shake his hand. He quipped, “I’d like to see Mr Mugabe do that.” Get it? What they respect is Strength. They despise appeasers.

STEVE BANNON BELIEVES THE APOCALYPSE IS COMING

Bannon, who’s now ensconced in the West Wing as President Donald Trump’s closest adviser, has been portrayed as Trump’s main ideas guy. But in interviews, speeches and writing — and especially in his embrace of Strauss and Howe — he has made clear that he is, first and foremost, an apocalypticist.

In Bannon’s view, we are in the midst of an existential war, and everything is a part of that conflict. Treaties must be torn up, enemies named, culture changed. Global conflagration, should it occur, would only prove the theory correct. For Bannon, the Fourth Turning has arrived. The Grey Champion, a messianic strongman figure, may have already emerged. The apocalypse is now.

“What we are witnessing,” Bannon told The Washington Post last month, “is the birth of a new political order.”

Trump is merely going radical on Reaganomics. A radical Reaganomicist, if you will. In other words, he is restoring the original propaganda screed of 1981 to finish off the Bottom 99% and complete the Jewish neocon project.

Steven Bannon is the spawn of the neocon Messianic Israel-first pre-tribulation rapture crackpots of the 1970’s-1980’s i.e. Hal Lindsey, Pat Robertson, and John Hagee. He doesn’t know shit about the Bible. He only knows what the mega-church televangelists tell him.

Yes, the West NEEDS to have about 50-60 years of bad Treaties repealed and Jewish social engineering schemes torn up. That’s what we’d like to see.

BUT….the new political order in store is a predatory crony-capitalist neo-feudal tyranny where everything and everyone is a commodity with a debt-carry rating. Not even the homeless will escape. Public space and publicly held assets will be privatized. Has everybody forgotten when Lord Bush and Viceroy Cheney repealed our habeas corpus rights and literally SOLD US, organic body and corporate straw man, to private cartels?

The very air you breath will be privatized because everything else has been monetized, leveraged, and squeezed for every last FRN. Privatized Air means we will be required to pay a Carbon Tax. *NOT* because of any environmental concern but, because it is a USER FEE imposed by the billionaires for breathing their air and polluting it with our CO2.

The ZOG-NATO empire will create legal paper to surrender the air itself, within respective national boundaries, to the Top 0.1% in exchange for them lending credit against the asset value of the Earth’s atmosphere within those entities. To service those legal and credit instruments, a “carbon tax” will be levied (User Fees) for breathing the air held in Trust by the mega-billionaires. I can see trading of Air Mutual Funds and arbitrage of clean Antarctic air against polluted Chinese air. Dow Jones 30,000 will literally be built on thin AIR!!!

THAT is where we’re headed and Whites will suffer horrific persecution for using too much air.
“Kill The Billionaires or Billions Will Be Killed. It’s just that simple.(TM)”

In Russia all the time the idea of liberal fascism is being introduced, although “liberal fascism” is an oxymoron. Fascism, unlike Nazism, is really anti-liberal and purely situational fusion of these two concepts is now is the cornerstone of the ideological attack of the Black Project against Russia, for historical reasons disguises itself in liberal clothing.

In particular, to Russian public all the time they are trying to “sell” participation of Benito Mussolini in the Holocaust, although Mussolini and Franco each must have saved more Jews from the Holocaust than Raoul Wallenberg and Oskar Schindler together.

And the only (and very slight) hope for the restoration of Maimonides European tradition of rationalism is linked with Italian Jewry, rescued by Mussolini.

And Maimonides has played such a role in the restoration by Thomas Aquinas of Christianity in Western Europe after the disaster of the Fourth Crusade, as well as termination of the Crusades as such and to establish at least some peace with Islam that without him we cannot be talking about the restoration of the world order, destroyed by Hillary Clinton.

The priority goal of reviving hostilities in Ukraine is a zugzwang for Trump in the event that Russia will give the go-ahead to Donetsk People Republic for an attack on Artemovsk, Dnepropetrovsk and my native Kharkov (and even Kiev), or zugzwang for Putin if no such go-ahead will be given.

Meanwhile the Trump Revolution and the corresponding ideological war in the West is gaining momentum.

In the US, for example, it created a completely unique situation for the revision of the ideological foundations of the Cold War and the elimination of immediate danger of the above zugzwang, up to unmasking the true role of some Hollywood stars in the management of “brave new globalized world.”

Trump’s cabinet is a rare toxic stew of apocalyptic cultist followers of Yahweh and incompetent white trash geezer generals who haven’t won a war since the magnificent triumph over Grenada. So maybe it is time to revisit what a final cataclysm might look like:
In a full thermonuclear bombardment complete with total retaliation, massive radiation would not be the most immediate problem. Incineration of the cities and the resulting massive firestorms would cast hundreds of millions of tons of smoke into the atmosphere, rapidly enshrouding the earth in an opaque toxic radioactive cloud blocking out 80% of the sunlight. Temperatures would drop well below freezing for many years, killing most vegetation and making food production impossible. The bulk of the remaining humanity would quickly consume the available food stocks including each other and then succumb to starvation. Radiation fallout would eventually kill off any surviving the freeze. In short, a full nuclear bombardment would amount to an extinction event for most flora and fauna on planet earth, more thorough than the disappearance of the dinosaurs in a short period of time following the impact of an asteroid.

I’m not sure about twice a week. Burn-out is a real possibility, and the Wayne Newton-Trump-Nazi thing left me cold.
    Let’s talk about something else.

I saw the movie The Founder, a biopic about Ray Kroc, the ‘Founder’ of MacDonald’s…but not really. Played by Michael Keaton, Kroc peddled malted milk machines in the Midwest with little success in 1954 America, all the while getting lousy service at drive-ins. When he gets an order for six…no, eight machines from a place called MacDonald’s in San Bernadino, he’s interested. Something about the name tugs at his psyche.

Kroc discovers the MacDonalds brothers and their product, seeing how they construct an assembly-line fast-food place, even inventing their own machinery, and (in a wonderfully visual treat), show on a tennis court how they figured out their design. They’re proud, and also admit to Kroc they had a dream to make it in Hollywood, but it didn’t pan out, so they stuck to hamburgers. Like the old saw goes, if you can’t be a tree, be a bush, but be the best little bush all around. Kroc, however, doesn’t see a bush. He sees giant Sequoias all over the country, and the design of golden arches gives him a vision splendid. Like Disney, another Midwesterner, he sees a new world. He wants to make MacDonalds, like church, an American institution.
The MacDonald brothers don’t. They like being small. Kroc goes back to Illinois, opening one MacDonald’s after another, and begins an engulf-and-devour campaign to take the arches away from the small-is-beautiful brothers.
I liked the way the movie captured this bit of America, and also the dilemma, which I think is pure JHK, of local smallness versus corporate growth. Kroc pushes and pushes, and I also enjoyed seeing how things work…managing a fast food place, seeing the time-tested product become watered down (to save refrigeration costs, Kroc uses an instant mix for malts instead of ice cream, one suggested by a manager’s wife who will eventually become Mrs. Kroc). We’re not talking great art, but hamburgers, yet it’s thoughtful to see the brother’s dream get usurped by Kroc when he becomes obsessed.
It reminded me of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Last Tycoon, where Starr, a movie mogul, admits he has less talent then all those who work for him, but he knows best how to use them, and indeed, Hollywood is a backdrop for the film. You can hate Kroc, but he offers a product people love, and also gives little guys like him a chance to be managers…to give their dreams a jump-start.
Is it evil? Is MacDonald’s really good for you? Where is the human quotient of happiness and satisfaction when your dream becomes a corporate entity and it means stepping on the makers of it?
In the end, Kroc buys out the MacDonald’s, and even puts a stand across from their place to run them out of business. As Kroc explains to them, he wanted their name, because people across America would buy the name. It’s so American.
And, eventually, the world wanted MacDonald’s. I recalled V.S. Naipaul’s A Bend in the River, where an Indian merchant in a strife-torn African nation sees his friend get the Bigburger franchise, and the restaurant…almost a machine that only needs to be unpacked and assembled…immediately is a favorite place in the city, and to be modern and western, everyone goes to Bigburger as they once worshipped tribal masks.
The JHK in me kicked on, thinking how places like Saratoga, with their diners and restaurants, got mugged by MacDonald’s. But can you fight a dream?
Like a realtor told me, he didn’t sell people homes…he sold them dreams…as his bulldozers ripped up another forest.
I read a book, Big Mac, about MacDonald’s and Kroc’s shenanigans, so it was fun to see this movie, as well as an America of my youth I remember…the cars with chrome dinosaur teeth, Route 66 a two-lane, (LOTS of two lane roads then), and the simple innocence of a burger, fries, and Coke, and no more.
For the record, I last ate at MacDonald’s twenty-five years ago, and usually eat two or three hamburgers a year.
Michael Keaton played a great Kroc, and was by various turns charming, devious, clever, underhanded, poetic and visionary, and ready to stick it to you when you weren’t looking.
Some say this is a departure for Keaton and an unpleasant role, but it sums up Beetlejuice, and that did him no harm.
This has been called the first movie of the Trump era, much like Gran Torino was the first movie of the Obama era.
it was an enjoyable film, taking me on a JHK Journey to Nowhere.

Nice, interesting post. I go to Carl’s Jr. when I want a burger. Carl started in LA with a hot dog stand at Florence and Central. There’s a picture of it, among others, in the local establishment.

I believe he was more forthright in growing his company than Kroc. Some insider trading beef (npi) in the late eighties, is all I know of.

I get onto old 66 now and then and love finding that beat up old place with that great American trio. Add on a smooth shake or malted.

A MANIAC IS RUNNING OUR FOREIGN POLICY! (IT’S NOT TRUMP)

    February 8, 2017

If only we were able to deport citizens, we could use Trump’s new policy of excluding those who are “hostile” toward our country to get rid of Judge James Robart.

Judge Robart’s veto of Trump’s travel ban notwithstanding, there is not the slightest question but that the president, in his sole discretion, can choose to admit or exclude any foreigners he likes, based on “the interests of the United States.”

The Clinton administration used the executive branch’s broad power over immigration to send a 6-year-old boy back to a communist dictatorship. The courts were completely powerless to stop him.

As explained by the federal appellate court that ruled on Elian Gonzalez’s asylum application: “It is the duty of the Congress and of the executive branch to exercise political will,” and “in no context is the executive branch entitled to more deference than in the context of foreign affairs,” which includes immigration.

The court acknowledged that Elian might well be subjected to “re-education,” “communist indoctrination” and “political manipulation.” (Then again, so would enrolling him at Sidwell Friends.) It didn’t matter! Sending little boys back to communist dictatorships was the policy of the Clinton administration.

The Obama administration’s immigration policy was to ensure that millions of poverty-stricken foreigners would come here and help turn our country into a Mexican version of Pakistan.

When Arizona merely tried to enforce the federal immigration laws being ignored by the Obama administration, the entire media erupted in rage at this incursion into the majestic power of the president over immigration. They said it was like living in Nazi Germany!

The most reviled section of the act, melodramatically called the “Papers Please” law, was upheld by the Supreme Court. But the other parts, allowing state officials to enforce federal immigration laws, were ruled unconstitutional. A president’s policy choice to ignore immigration laws supersedes a state’s right to enforce them.

The court conceded that hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens were arrested in Arizona each year, that they were responsible for “a disproportionate share of serious crime,” and that illegals constituted nearly 6 percent of Arizona’s population.

But Arizona was powerless to enforce laws on the books — if those laws happened to be about immigration. The president’s authority over immigration is absolute and exclusive, as part of his authority over foreign policy.

    To review:

    — When the president’s immigration policy is to promote international communism: The president wins.

    — When the president’s immigration policy is to transform America into a different country: The president wins.

    — But when the president’s immigration policy is to protect Americans: Some piss-ant judge announces that his authority exceeds that of the president.

This is exactly what I warned you about in Adios, America: The Left’s Plan to Turn Our Country into a Third World Hellhole. Nothing Trump does will be met with such massive resistance as his immigration policies.

The left used to attack America by spying for Stalin, aiding our enemies, murdering cops and blowing up buildings. But, then liberals realized, it’s so much more effective to just do away with America altogether!

Teddy Kennedy gave them their chance with the 1965 immigration act. Since then, we’ve been taking in more than a million immigrants a year, 90 percent from comically primitive cultures. They like the welfare, but have very little interest in adopting the rest of our culture.

In many parts of the country, you’re already not living in America. Just a few more years, and the transformation will be complete. There will be a North American landmass known as “the United States,” but it won’t be our country.

The only thing that stands between America and oblivion is a total immigration moratorium. We are well past the point of quick fixes — as Judge Robart’s delusional ruling proves.

The judiciary, both political parties, the media, Hollywood, corporate America and approximately 1 million lobbying groups are all working frantically to bring the hardest cases to our shores. Left-wing traitors, who used to honeymoon in Cuba and fight with peasant revolutionaries in Peru, toil away, late into the night, to ensure that genocidal Rwandans can move to America and immediately start collecting food stamps, Medicaid and Social Security.

No matter how clearly laws are written, government bureaucrats connive to import people from countries that a majority of Americans would not want to visit, much less become. Federal judges issue lunatic rulings to ensure that there will never be a pause in the transformation of America.

Congress could write laws requiring immigrants to pay taxes, learn English, forgo welfare and have good moral character. It could write laws giving the president authority to exclude aliens in the public interest.

Except it already has. Those laws were swept away by INS officials, federal judges and Democratic administrations — under ferocious pressure from America-hating, left-wing groups.

The country will not be safe until the following outfits are out of business:

The ACLU’s Immigrants’ Rights Project; the National Immigration Forum; the National Immigration Law Center; the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild; the National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights; the Office of Migration and Refugee Services; the American Immigration Law Foundation; the American Immigration Lawyers Association; the Border Information and Outreach Service; Atlas: DIY; the Catholic Legal Immigration Network; the Clearinghouse for Immigrant Education; the Farmworker Justice Fund; Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees; the Immigrant Legal Resource Center; the International Center for Migration, Ethnicity and Citizenship; the Lesbian and Gay Immigration Rights Task Force; the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service; the National Association for Bilingual Education; the National Clearinghouse on Agricultural Guest Worker Issues; the National Coalition for Dignity and Amnesty for Undocumented Immigrants; the National Coalition for Haitian Rights; the National Council of La Raza; and the National Farm Worker Ministry.

And that’s only a small fraction of the anti-American immigration groups assiduously dragging the Third World to our shores — while you were busy working.

Look at that list — look at Judge Robart’s ruling! — and ask yourself: Is it possible that anything short of a total immigration moratorium can save this country? Only when there is no immigration to bellyache about will these nuts be forced to think of a new way to destroy America.

I don ‘t know what sounds worse — that, or sitting on a Jamaican Beach drinking White Russians. Talk about grotesque. And you dare to call me an idiot? Pot Kettle Black in spades.

Best burger and fries for the money without having to be served by a waiter/waitress is Five Guys, hands down. Carl Jr’s is for people who lack distinction and the ability to distinguish quality from crap and Jamaican Beaches are not made for White Russians. What an awful idea. Save the White Russians for your annual sunbathing expedition in Mausund. When in Jamaica, do what the Jamaicans do, which amounts to, amongst other things, smoking a shit-load of Ganja. But, if you’re prudish about Ganja and you must have alcohol, mix some Charley’s J.B. Trelawny Blend Overproof Rum with the grapefruit-flavored soft drink Ting — you’ll fit right in with The Locals absent the melatonin.

Don’t be so snarky and smug, Cold, as is your want. I gave up all recreational drugs in 1974, except alcohol, so I won’t be smoking weed. Rum is about the worst drink for your liver and pancreas; I always get wicked hangovers when I drink it – so I don’t anymore. For whatever reason, I’ve found I tolerate vodka quite well. I’ve drunk prodigious amounts, gotten falling-down drunk, and woke up the next morning feeling fine. And no, I usually don’t drink very much alcohol.

And where does it say I must act like a Jamaican when in Jamaica? Believe me, the Jamaicans would see right thru that phoniness in a second.

Today, a man came over to us while we were on our patio and asked if we wanted a coconut. When we said yes, he took out his machete, picked a coconut and lopped off the top. I’m no fool. I know that if the Jamaican economy gets much worse, and if tourism founders, the natives will find another use for their machetes. But that’s for another day. Right now the Jamaicans are very polite to us, so we just enjoy their company.

BTW, when you take the top off the coconut, you see a reservoir of water inside; it really is water, but with a coconut flavor. Kind of reminds me of Europa, a moon of Jupiter. Scientists think Europa has a subsurface ocean hidden at least 60 miles under the surface.

      • Cold N. Holefield February 9, 2017 at 12:39 pm #

Not to be snarky, but it’s “wont,” not “want.”

Rum has never had that effect on me, although, admittedly, I don’t drink it all that much but when I do, I make sure it’s a High Quality Rum for a decent price, meaning $30 or under for 750 ml. Bacardi 8 isn’t half bad — it’s a pleasant sipping Rum if anyone’s into sipping Rum.

Still, White Russians aren’t appropriate for a climate like Jamaica, in my opinion. Milk and Sweat don’t mix. Try a Cosmopolitan and go heavy on the Vodka. That’s what I do when I have them. I make a mean one that promises to put people on their ass after two or three when the REAl FUN begins. And, as always, don’t forget the Methaqualone if you’re Bill Cosby or anything like him.

I did switch over to vodka and orange juice (a screwdriver) because after all the milk, I felt a little bloated – lactose intolerance that comes with age. Thanks for the advice on the cosmopolitan; I think I’ll go out later and try it. I usually don’t like cranberry juice, but the other ingredients may offset it.

          • Cold N. Holefield February 9, 2017 at 1:44 pm #

Try Pomegranate Juice in lieu of the Cranberry Juice. It’s still a bit tart but not overly. A little goes a long way, so you may want to cut it back slightly from what the recipe requires and make up for it with Vodka or more Fresh-Squeezed Lime Juice. Also, make sure you use Cointreau versus a cheaper substitute. They sell it in smaller bottles so you should be able to polish it off by the time you leave. Enjoy. The recent missile attack of Yemen against the sheiks should be viewed as a “warning” shot and its goal was not Riyadh but Mazahimiya military base located 40 kilometers west of the Saudi capital.

There is a video of arrival of missiles and, judging by the hilarious staccato of explosions, they were either really quite a few, or one, but very “lucky” that caused the detonation of munitions in storage base.

In the capital of the kingdom began a panic and state of emergency was declared. Saudi authorities were clearly taken aback and did not come up with anything better than to blame the explosions on a meteorite attack, although none astronomical centers have registered the fall of the cosmic body there.

The attack was carried by Borkan (Volcano) -1. This is a modification of the good old Soviet “Smerch” P-17, production of which was discontinued in the Soviet Union back in 1987.

The Saudis also recently (in 2015), have bought in the United States 202 upgraded anti-missile complexes Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (worth $5.4 billion). But, as shown by events, “patriots” peacefully overslept, and the “Volcano(s)” blew a large hole just 40 kilometers from the nine-million capital city of one of the richest countries in the world.

Range of P-17 is 300 kilometers. From Yemen border to Riyadh is about 900 kilometers.

Experts try to explain such a discrepancy by deep modernization and reduction of throw-weight (P-17 – 990 kilograms). It is possible, but does not make things better.

Because the P-17 was originally designed to deliver various, including nuclear payloads from ten to five hundred kilotons. And how much weapons-grade uranium and plutonium is rotating on a shadow market – is known only to God, and a few people on the planet.

The Saudi blood, sorry, oil money are most likely behind both Pink Pussy-hat revolution in US and increased tensions and artillery shelling of residential districts in Eastern Ukraine.

After all, did you really think that Soros spending money out of his own pocket?

    • janet February 9, 2017 at 11:38 am #

That is true. Soros does not fund revolutions or protests.

      • JimInFlorida February 9, 2017 at 9:46 pm #

Soros has front organizations and NGO’s to launder his ill-gotten funds and distribute them to the various factions who do his dirty work.

It’s the same bureaucratic layering scheme that insulated Richard J Daley in old Chicago. All kinds of corruption and coercion but, Daley was untainted because of the layers of cronies between what he wanted and what got done.

Cause and effect cuts through the smoke-filled maze. Soros’s intentions are well-known and the money that fuels these riots and protests are still stained with his bloody fingerprints. Regardless of how many cronies’ hands that money passed through.

This is a bit off topic, but I think it might be helpful to share another “tell” of our fake economy.

Many people are aware of the large number of scammers placing ads of Craigslist; but what is much less well known are the large number of fake ads placed by Craigslist staff themselves. The staff engages in this behavior in order in order to generate the “organic” appearance of popularity and activity that Craigslist USED to exhibit,

    How do I know this?

Because I have the institutional memory that comes from having used Craigslist back when it first gained popularity, to the hollow fraudulent shell it is today. In addition, I have run many experiments to detect these sock puppet ads placed by the Craigslist staff ( I can’t reveal them for the usual reasons)

The problem is not entirely Craiglists fault because fraud and scammers have over run much if not most of the internet/web; but what is their fault is the solution they have chosen to counter it.

For example, if you answer or place an ad, and its well written, detailed… in other words, if its “good?”

You should expect to see a version of your ad/reply on the same site in the following days.

    Yeah,

they “mine” real ads/replies like yours for content to use in their fake ads.

    *vomit*

    So,

    just remember,

when you look at Craigslist and you see what appears to be a bunch of “activity…”

its mainly a combination of fake ads by the staff, and the usual fraudsters and scammers… maybe 10% is real ads by real people?

    *be advised*

      …(Snort)!

Craigslist, destroying Newspapers, one at a time.

—-According to the website, Craigslist makes money by charging a $10 fee for brokered apartment listings in New York City, $75 for job listings in San Francisco and charges $25 for job postings in six of its largest U.S. markets.

This website also charges $10 (in the US) for an ad that comes under the category therapeutic services. [hookers?]

Craigslist charges $5 for re-posting an ad that is live. Other than these the organization doesn’t have any other means of earning money.

Probably my favorite hamburger eating out is Steak’nShake (‘It’s a meal!’), popular here in the Midwest, although for the last few years I only eat their taco salad. When I was a kid, I would eat two steakburgers, fries, baked beans, Coke, and a malt. Whew. Those were the days.

If I do make a hamburger at home, I use regular, whole wheat bread instead of a bun, a baked potato, and a salad. I try to offset the fried feeling of the hamburger, and I don’t eat fried food as a rule.
When I was a kid, my father always made hamburgers for us on Saturday nights, on white bread, and we’d sit down and watch Spook Spectacular, which was the Saturday night creature feature. Just a memory, especially of Dad cooking.
Nowadays I’m eating Ezekiel Bread, which is made from whole grain, spelt, etc., and free of sugar and most preservatives. It reminds me of the bread I ate when I was in Germany. Anyone try it? I call it Bible bread.

As for Craigslist, it’s well known among police circles as a dumping ground for stolen goods.

If you’re referring to the Kate Winslett film, I did see that a few years ago, and thought it was very well-made and thought provoking. It captured the dilemma of older/young love, and the ambiguities of justice and guilt. Oddly enough, I never liked Lena Olin’s character. When she took the little box that Winslett treasured, I thought it cruel and vindictive. I thought the film did the aging and generational changes very well. It seemed like it was ignored at the time. Lots of superheroes on the march, then.

    • beantownbill. February 9, 2017 at 12:31 pm #

      • volodya February 9, 2017 at 12:54 pm #

And how many are government employed. Government controls the resources, the armed might. There’s legitimately competing agendas. And then there’s blatant suppression of legitimate discussion. There’s supposedly the right to free speech. But what about deliberate government intrusion under false pretenses? So what’s your estimate?

That’s why I queried K-dog, because I really don’t know. Off the top of my head, I’d guess 50%.

        • ozone February 9, 2017 at 7:03 pm #

          Beans,
I’d go with 50% also, and that 50%, paid by the string-jerkers in order to manufacture consent and distract from the verrry real predicaments that JHK constantly outlines.

What I always wonder though, is what kind of sadistic ass-plunger would take on (and probably *enjoy*) this kind of “employment”? After thinking on this just a brief period of time, I’d say that these are not the kind of people you’d want dictating the direction of anything we’d like to label a society. (Thus, my harsh opinion of their collective fate. Times are getting squeaky, capital is running thin, and former “successful” strategies are turning out to be nothing more than power-point presentations that have no connections to realities “on the ground”.)

Case in point: Elliot Abrams??? (You’ve got to be fucking kidding me, you fuck-witted fucks…)

Probably easier to speculate on who’s a paid troll, a troll for fun, or a hopelessly brainwashed SJW.

janet / wpa_ccc / asoka is most definitely a troll and SJW. She is the product of decades of New Left and Frankfurt School brainwashing. She is very well versed in such madness and reveals a very Jewish way of thinking.

Janet-wpa’s way of thinking is like unto a tick on a dog and the tick demands that it has a right to suck its blood. Furthermore, it is the natural order of things for a dog to have ticks. Ticks are beautiful creatures and only bring blessings for the dog. If the dog eats, it is not for the dog’s benefit but to feed the ticks.

A dog is part of nature. A tick is part of nature. Therefore, ticks and dogs belong together. The idea that a dog should be free of ticks is canine supremacy, anti-tick, probably homophobic, and any movement to scratch the tick is micro-aggression.

        That’s the typical janet-wpa-SJW-troll post.

Never ceases to amaze how the Deep State’s various tentacles have been appropriated for private purposes, to safeguard the interests of the oligarch class, to protect them physically.

There’s many ways of harassing – from sending trolls onto websites like this one, to getting bank cards cancelled, messing up tax returns, to bringing bogus criminal charges and pre-trial imprisonment thus causing loss of family, employment, assets and then dropping the trumped up charges just before the trial date.

It all amounts to knocking on people’s foreheads, a demonstration of the power to royally mess up lives. It serves as an example to others. You want to defy us? This is what it costs.

And what for? To watch those same plutocrats say, ok, this isn’t sustainable, I’m bailing, I’m buying a fortified compound or hightailing it to New Zealand?

How things got to this point, military over-extension, allowing an oligarch class to run rampant with the institutional academic cover of economic theorizing and political ideologizing, the building of a massive surveillance apparatus, the militarization of police, forfeiture of assets with no due process, isn’t besides the point, it’s a lesson in what NOT to do.

And where does this ultimately go? There’s a multitude of historical examples of ruling castes being overturned, but you know as well as I do, the lessons of history are never learned, or we wouldn’t be where we are today.

“One of the many ways discussion is disrupted and diverted here.” –K-dog

Does anyone have any evidence of government paying people to post here? Or is this just one more manifestation of doomer paranoia? Wouldn’t the government be focused on national security threats? How is discussion here a threat to national security? Isn’t Trump about reducing unnecessary government spending and hasn’t he challenged CIA and FBI snooping into people’s lives? Trump’s executive action focused on seven Muslim-majority countries, but Muslims are not posting to CFN. So what evidence is there of government trolling here?

    • K-Dog February 9, 2017 at 4:58 pm #

I am evidence. I have been confronted by genuine agents up close personal and real as a result of being here. I have been severely harassed because I discovered what was up here years ago. Credit cards canceled, tax issues and openly followed not to mention my smart phone developed a smart assed personality while the battery drained because it was listening to me. The materials the Intercept has are solid proof.

As to how many and who, that gets complicated. The number varies over time and distance from Monday. I’ll go with the 50% estimate overall. I no longer waste my time wondering who.

Everything that has been mentioned here has happened to me with the exception of arrest and criminal charges but now that we have a different Racist in Chief that could change.

    • K-Dog February 9, 2017 at 5:03 pm #

Of course you know Janet that all it takes to make alternate facts seem real is to cast doubt on true reality by asking if anyone has any real proof.

Trump is suffering from lack of sleep. He demands to watch television at all times of the day. He is obsessed with trivial matters related to his lack of popularity. (He has historically low approval ratings as of six hours ago)

Trump was more excited about choosing window treatments than being briefed on current situations and has displayed his ignorance of basic facts, like not knowing about our nuclear treaty when asked about it by Putin.

Trump seems to lack the ability to perform his duties.

The Twenty-Fifth Amendment, Section 4, states that the president may be removed if he is ‘unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office’. That provision of the Constitution may yet be invoked.

“Best burger and fries for the money……is Five Guys, hands down. Carl’s junior is for people who lack distinction and the ability to distinguish quality from crap…” Cold

Don’t ever think of becoming a food critic. Try some fine dining and watch your taste buds awaken, if they haven’t already been permanently destroyed. I know Five-Guys isn’t cheap, but a few more bucks should get you up to some good truck stop food.

After that, if those buds have come to life, a world of culinary delights awaits you.

Here are just a couple of negative reviews of Five-Guys out of hundreds:

“Five Guys serves chemical fries!!! They claim that their fries are cooked in 100% peanut oil. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth. They use peanut oil from Cargill. This peanut oil contains a NON-BIODEGRADABLE chemical called dimethylpolysiloxane, the same chemical used to produce Silly Putty, Rain-X, hydraulic fluid, car differential lubricants, and the original silicone breast implants that caused so many problems in the past. So make sure the next time you visit Five Guys, take a look at the peanut oil ingredients so you can see for yourself. Stay away from Five Guys Chemical Fries!”

“We were completely disappointed! There was nothing special about the burger. Everything was fresh but it was nothing to rave about. I am completely confused as to why everyone loves this place. Our fries were also undercooked too. At the very least make the fries good. It was also over priced for a fast food joint. $25 for 2.5 people is very expensive for what we got. We will probably never go back to 5 Guys again because it was not worth it. Save your money and find a better burger joint.”

    • Cold N. Holefield February 9, 2017 at 5:18 pm #

You simply have no credibility after stating your burger of choice is Carl Jr’s. I eat at Five Guys maybe three to four times a year. We mostly do burgers at home and we’ve made nearly every type of burger you can imagine. My wife & I are pretty much Gourmet Cooks, so going out is often a disappointment. But, for a burger that’s better than fast food burgers yet you don’t have to be waited on, Five Guys does the trick, chemicals be damned.

FYI, a few years ago my wife and I, on the way to The Mountains for a hiking vacation, stopped at a Burger King because the kids kept pestering us. We hadn’t eaten at one in twenty years. We almost puked after our meal and couldn’t eat anything the rest of the day. I imagine Carl Jr’s is the same way. Five Guys doesn’t have that effect.

      • tucsonspur February 9, 2017 at 6:22 pm #

Carl’s is better than BK. IN ‘N OUT is pretty good too. My wife is also a great cook in the Italian-French tradition.

We’re also both enthusiasts of the NYC/Las Vegas dining experience, which seldom disappoints. We enjoy it whenever we can, which isn’t often enough.

This is curious, what a coincidence. Mrs. Dog was telling me just last night she did not want to go to Five Guys (Renton Wa. in ‘The Landing’) and had stuff at home to cook. We were in her car which has a telephone interface built in and we had both our phones with us. We were together in the Renton Landing Target parking lot only a tenth of a mile away. We met at Target after work.

I’ll go with coincidence. I have better things to worry about.

If it was not a coincidence then that was a COLD thing to do!

I guess today’s the restaurant review day. My wife and I are vegetarians (actually fishcatarians, whatever the correct word is), so we haven’t had a meat burger in about 15 years. When we go to Manhattan a few times a year, we love eating at Candle 79 (on E. 79th St., of course) or Blossom.

My favorite is a gourmet vegan restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale, called Sublime. I love the food there.

When we’re in L.A. (don’t ask), we like to go to Hugo’s in W. Hollywood. They have an excellent pumpkin pancake and a pasta a la Mama. We usually see movie stars eating there.

Right now we’re going to a Jamaican-style restaurant on the beach. Tonight I’ll try cosmopolitans, or if not, tomorrow for sure.

My first Jamaican post was after I had a lot to drink. Other people replied and one thing led to another, and off we went. Goes to show how easily distracted we are about real issues (see O3’s last posts). I had no intention of bragging or anything like that; I’m having a good time, that’s all. Heaven forfend i enjoy myself. I work my ass off all year and save up during the year to have a meager 10 days away. Hell, Europeans get at least 6 weeks off- assuming they have a job.

You don’t understand: I’m not interested in knowing anyone’s weight, including my wife’s because weight is just a number; how one looks is just one determinent of desirability. One’s fatness or thinness is more important to one’s looks than one’s weight. My wife is thin. 120 pounds on a 5′ woman makes her look chubby, but on a 5’7″ women it makes her look thin. Also, the amount of one’s muscle tone also determines how attractive one appears. I

What I hear from the natives Is that your co-workers are right. I stay at a gated, all-inclusive resort about 20 minutes outside of Montego Bay, so I don’t get the first-hand, on-the-street experience. But the staff are locals and either are really, or trained to be, polite and friendly.

They tell me it can be dangerous outside and not to go out of the resort. Of course, once they said that, me being me, I hired a taxi, got friendly with the driver and told him to drive us around. He did and we saw several neighborhoods. The people there were also friendly, but the, driver told us not to go out at night as there is a lot of violence, which can come out of the blue for no apparent reason.

There’s not many jobs available, and men are content to just hang with their buddies and smoke dope or drink heavily, while their women are more responsible and go out and work whatever jobs they can find.

Jamaica is a poor, run-down place, unfortunately, but despite the violence, I like the people, even though I sense intense, held-back emotions that could come boiling up.

TRUMP SMACKED DOWN AGAIN IN COURT IN UNANIMOUS DECISION

Rejecting arguments that the government would be “irreparably harmed” if the judicial system reviewed President Donald Trump’s immigration ban, which he premised on his authority over national security matters, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit determined unanimously that the judiciary has a proper role in safeguarding people’s rights.

“To the contrary, while counseling deference to the national security determinations of the political branches,” the court said, “the Supreme Court has made clear that the Government’s authority and expertise in [such] matters do not automatically trump the Court’s own obligation to secure the protection that the Constitution grants to individuals, even in times of war.”

”We have seen him in court twice, and we’re two for two,” Bob Ferguson, attorney general for the state of Washington, which alongside Minnesota challenged Trump’s order, said at a news conference Thursday night. He encouraged Trump to “tear up this executive order and start over.”

    @Janet:

I don’t think the issue with immigration is diversity per se. Of course, diversity is necessary to keep a society from stagnating. I think that Americans feel that many immigrants today seem to want to keep their culture to themselves and not become part of American culture. That doesn’t benefit anyone, both immigrants and American citizens.

I’m old enough to remember when immigrants wanted to be part of our existing society and tried to fit in while still keeping as much of their own heritage as possible; they were willing to make changes to their way of thinking in order to live here. Many citizens today don’t think immigrants want to do that now,and thus believe these people have ulterior motives, which leads to distrust.

You apparently weren’t around here several years ago when Janos (as Vlad Krantz) and I used to go at it a lot. I just got tired of fighting all the time, so I now pick my battles. He isn’t gonna change my outlook and I’m not going to change his. Presently, I believe JiminFlorida, Dolph 9 and especially NSA irritate me more and are much more nasty. Malthuss (probably his old handle was Asia) is just a minor irritant to me

Racism, unfortunately, is such an integral characteristic of American culture (as is anti-semitism), that racists are not part of a separate culture, but rather an example of one of American culture’s most perverse aspects. When I was talking about immigrants, I was referring to their home culture, not their culture’s traits.

You’re a little too quick to put things in a racial context, when none is intended, not unlike Janos and his ilk. I sense deep resentment in you lying underneath the persona of a cool dude. Not that I blame you for the resentment, but in my opinion it would be more honest to display it openly instead of being hip about it. So what if the racists attack you here, just dish it back to them. Come on, do it.

    **********************************************************

    Janos still doesn’t get it.

(or he is pretending not to?)

I was trying to highlight the apparent paradox in his logic of white people having this high IQ he keeps talking about; and at the same time constantly falling for the Jew okie doke, flim flam tribal, desert con man game…

If white people are so smart, why are you constantly blaming jooz for all your problems?

You sound like ni66ers that blame white people for their problems?

You can’t have it both ways Janos. If you are gonna constantly raise the high white IQ petard, then you can’t blame the Jews when you get hung from it.

*despite your Europeonoid genotype and milkshake persona*

    • Janos Skorenzy February 10, 2017 at 12:49 am #

As I said someplace above, IQ isn’t wisdom and it sure isn’t street smarts, the lower octave of commonsense. Whites are ridiculous dorks despite their high IQ – or even because of them? And the Jews have savaged us along with the Blacks. The Black have come to resent the Jews because they realized they were just being used as a weapon against the Whites. Thus they finally managed to kick them out the NAACP, which they founded for the Blacks. They didn’t want to go either as they were having too much fun bashing Whites.

Of course there are Whites who can give the Jews a run for their money in the cunning department. Most of them join the Jews to get where the getting is good. The rest become Fascists and National Socialists.

Obviously we’re all coming to a genetic bottleneck. There’s going to be a massive die off of people in the decades to comes. The goofy Whites are going bye bye for sure. If we survive, the ones who remain will be the high IQ barbarians who conquered the world again.

Blacks will score very heavily in the first few months and they will kill the hapless Eloi left and right. Eli will protect his own however – their communities turning into armed camps. Jews don’t forget nearly as much and don’t become as decadent as Whites. When Blacks go out into the suburbs, or even Staten Island, they will face resistance. When they get hungry and go out into the country, they will find their quietus. Southern Blacks who live on the land may do fine of course. Some of them are among the best situated people of all, knowing how to farm, fish, and hunt. And it not being too cold so they might be alright without utilities. Disease will be terrible in the South of course, especially in urban areas. Get out of Atlanta, Thwack. Flee North and West. Watch the Walking Dead for clues.

“I’m old enough to remember when immigrants wanted to be part of our existing society” –beantown

beantown, do you think the immigrants are staying to themselves in “barrios” and are not integrating with society? The statistics say today’s immigrants are following the same process as immigrants always have.

Immigrants are found all over the country: the largest percentage increases in the number of immigrants from 2010 to 2014 were North Dakota (up 45 percent), Wyoming (up 42 percent), Montana (up 19 percent), Kentucky (up 15 percent), New Hampshire (up 14 percent), and Minnesota and West Virginia (both up 13 percent).

Today, 92 percent of the Latino second generation (children of immigrants) speak English “very well,” and by the third generation nearly one hundred percent of Latinos are either English dominant or fully bilingual, according to a Pew study from last year. How is that a failure to integrate? Latino families learn English more quickly than 19th-century immigrants from Germany did.

Anti-immigrant folks want to paint a picture of immigrants which does not accord with the reality of families who want to own homes, educate their kids, work and live productive lives… JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.

It is a mistake on part of Clintonoids to gloat about so-called “judicial victory” over the Trump administration. With the help of some intellectual verbal somersaults they just might have set themselves up.

What is there will be a large-scale terrorist attack on American soil in the near future involving several jihadists who entered US during the suspension of Trump’s EO? Quite a few of such attacks are being planned at any given moment anyway and Trump now has a control over US counter-terrorist agencies.

But even without that, Trump just got a very important ideological weapon to mobilize and expand his base.

Why did Roosevelt reside in the Soviet Embassy during the Tehran Conference in 1943?

Unlike Churchill, Stalin and Roosevelt were not idiots, and each of them, knowing the history of their country and history of the partner’s country were aware that each of the socio-economic systems in relation to the other has a certain advantages and certain disadvantages, whereby none of them can be a role model to the rest of humanity.

Therefore, there is reason to believe that in an informal atmosphere of the Soviet embassy during the Tehran Conference Stalin and Roosevelt have explored the opportunity to develop and implement some long-term program of mutual aid between two superpowers for the period after the Second World War, the implementation of which should lead to the construction of socio-economic system, common to both countries, but free of vices of their previous social and economic predecessors while enjoying the advantages of each of them, and besides – has a qualities that none of them had in the past.

This did not imply the victory of one side over the other, and involves the development of each of them in the common general direction in mutual support of each other.

And if we analyze the constituent documents of the UN, a decision in principle on the creation of which was decided at the Yalta Conference 4 – February 11, 1945 the United Nations were not created to start the “Cold War”, during which it would serve as a tribune for recriminations and exposures, but to identify and – with fair mutual support – to resolve the problems of all nations of the earth.

But the murder of Roosevelt (12 April 1945), the start of the “cold war” (March 5, 1946), a coup in the Soviet Union, which began in 1953 with murder of Stalin, and then Beria blocked for several decades the implementation of that Algorithms, while giving the rise to Nazi abomination of liberalism on a global scale.

Within this vision of history the victory of D. Trump and the defeat of the Nazi Liberals in the US presidential election in 2016 – is clear not some accident, not the success of “Russian hackers” allegedly mobilized by “insidious Putin”, but the result of the Mystical-Meteorological factor in the Human History and the beginning of withdrawal of Nazi liberalism to historical oblivion, and liberals to the competence of psychiatrists.

But I was shocked to hear that I was not prepared to hear, even more so from the mouth of Trump and Putin enemies, namely, that Steve Bannon said the main battle of the Second World War was Stalingrad, and associated himself with the Red Army:

In my opinion, the American Stalingrad is still ahead, even the analogue of the Battle For Moscow – we are still in the very early stages of this war, Smolensk, perhaps.
