I’ll tell you what’s really funny: the new Sam Harris “Making Sense” podcast with Dr. Eric Topol, veep of Scripps Research. These two just can’t make sense of why the folks outside their Southern California smuggery bubble have any reservations about getting vaxed-up against Covid-19. It’s like a mental illness to them — all these selfish, Trump-driven, flag-smooching ignoramuses beyond the pale of Wokery, who are putting at risk their science-loving betters in the PhD hives of the New Normal, while that King Kong of Covid variants (code-name Delta) rages through the hillsides and canyons beneath Mulholland Drive. The insolence! Can’t these morons just follow simple instructions (available 24/7 at CNN)?
Okay, here’s why, Sam and Eric: Because every institution in American life has squandered its credibility in the service of a political program that seeks to destroy whatever used to be worth caring about in Western Civ, including free thought, free speech, free inquiry, free movement, truth, beauty, and the right to resist official coercion. Half the country has no trust in the government’s public health apparatus, led by the — shall we say — slippery Dr. Anthony Fauci. Should they believe NPR? The New York Times? CBS-News? Should they follow every bob and judder of Rachel Maddow’s Adam’s apple? Should they swallow every globule of obvious horse-shit served up by Jen Psaki?
Hey Sam and Eric, have you followed what went on in the US Department of Justice and the FBI the past five years, these supposed redoubts of rectitude? The manufactured “Russian Collusion” hoax? The official lying to FISA courts? The malicious prosecutions? The transparently seditious activities of CIA agent Eric Ciaramella & Co.? The hiding of Hunter Biden’s evidence-stuffed laptop? The enlistment of Facebook, Twitter, and Google in suppression of the news and censorship of opinion? Do you expect people to believe that the basement-haunting “Joe Biden” won an election with those slim victories in the Wokester-controlled, fraud-drenched city precincts of Philadelphia, Atlanta, Milwaukee, and Detroit? Or that Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray wouldn’t lie about it?
Can you detect something a little off in those aforesaid federal law enforcement agencies allowing BLM and Antifa to destroy over a billion dollars in small business and a bunch of civic infrastructure at will, for months on end, while overcharging felonies on the three-hour US Capitol trespassers you label “insurrectionists”? Can you point out “the science” in the Drag Queen Reading Hour? Is it a sound idea to promote racism in the public schools? And to instruct US military recruits that their nation is, maybe, not worth defending?
And now you want to convince half the country subjected to this tyrannical mind-fuckery to get a poorly-tested mRNA vaccine that might provoke blood clots and organ damage? Against a disease apparently manufactured under the sponsorship of our own government? I have to tell you, Sam and Eric, that your expectations are a bit out-of-synch with the march of events. That half of the country not in thrall to your narratives won’t submit to your supposedly superior powers of reasoning and your empathic, nurturing concern for their well-being. They are quite convinced, based on a shit-ton of evidence and lived experience, that they are being played by a degenerate regime not at all run in their interests… that lies to them reflexively and incessantly.
What’s more, they want their country back — a land of free speech, fair play, and settled principle, like the right to a speedy trial. And here’s something else to consider, Sam and Eric: if the regime that you support goes a step further, as is looking more likely day by day, and if it moves to make these mRNA vaccines mandatory, it is going to pull the pin that detonates a national grenade. And when that happens, you and your Woke-Jacobin confederates will be on the run for a change, worrying about your own cancellation and whether, perhaps, it will get a fair hearing. You have the right to hope so.
We are slip-sliding toward that terrible moment. And, you better remember that this strife over Covid-19 is but one part of a much bigger picture of evolving national woe. Looming beyond this mere skirmish over public health is an economy that has sunk into uniform racketeering, the disgraceful mismanagement of government spending, the specter of a dying currency, the developing quandaries for our food supply, the probability of a market blowup that will bring down the pension system and destroy the notional wealth of millions, and the growing antagonism of foreign polities who resent our badly-discharged power around the world and sense our growing weakness. Maybe you should get woke to that?

Like you, I have met pleasant and friendly people in over a dozen countries. They graciously do not mention the misdeeds of this country and accept me as an individual.

I’ve lived in 3 countries in Africa. I’ve traveled throughout Asia and throughout Europe. I’ve traveled throughout the Caribbean, Central America and to 3 different South American Countries. I’ve also lived in 5 different US states and traveled to every single US state. I’ve met countless pleasant and friendly people everywhere I’ve been. I’ve also met some real a–holes everywhere I’ve been. People are people everywhere. This incessant need on the part of some to demonize one country and most of its people and glorify people from other countries is bizarre. I will say this, I’m African-American (as in, born in America and half my family is African – from many different countries) and my skin is brown. The most racism I’ve ever experienced has been in Asia – and primarily China. The least has been in the US, no matter the state. Does that excuse the US meddling in the affairs of, say, Nicaragua? NO. But, I also don’t look kindly on China trying a second go around of colonizing large parts of Africa either. So , go peddle your biases somewhere else.

I work with many folks in my hospital job, they come from various different countries in Africa, Nepal, India, China( many many in the university from China), Japan, Eastern Europe and the great islands of the Caribbean. 99% percent of those folks that I chat with respect and are happy to be in USA. Speak to folks who are black( they hate being called African Americans) those from Caribbean and Africa and they like it here, while acknowledge that humans have enslaved others thought out history. One woman from the Jamaica states all humans are stool, and that’s why she loves dogs. The folks from Central, South America and the one tech on my unit that escaped from Cuba loves the USA, but realize its’ not perfect.

Just say you are in the “control group” or that you are trying to get pregnant.

Just tried to find the scene, and find that my audio for Youtube is not working. I also noticed this last night—that Twitter vids were muted. I also tested out a Corona Ausschuss session and there was no audio.
I tested out my laptop’s audio with videos on my computer, plus with Zoom, and that is working.
Hmmmm . . . Any ideas out there as to why/how my audio for online stuff would stop working?
I thought that was my laptop acting up. It has recently become extremely slow, as well.

Last week the WSJ ran a story that stated that the fed govt had just purchased another 200 million doses of vaccine at at cost of $24/shot. That’s $4.8 billion.
Now couple the amount of money that has been paid to the vax makers to date, and that will be paid to them in the future, along with granting the vax makers liability protection if (or more likely when) there is incontrovertible evidence that the vaccines don’t work as advertised and are actually harming people; and that big pharma is paying huge ad dollars to the MSM and to politicians’ PACs; and that people are dying or becoming invalids as a result of taking the vaccines…and everything becomes crystal clear. People are getting huge payoffs for producing the vax, and encouraging folks to take the vax, and eliminating any liability for the production and distribution of products that may being doing more harm than good.
That, my friends, is it in a nutshell.
Time will tell, and that is all that matters with Covid. All the politicking is meaningless. If it is proven that the vaxx is a product of the evil empire, there will be hell to pay.

I read somewhere that the basis for issuing the EUA for the vaccines was that they were going to prevent transmission of the virus. That was the “emergency”.
Now we are all aware (or maybe not) of what was known by some from the start- these vaccines don’t prevent infection or transmission. They only (in theory) may prevent hospitalization or death from the virus.
THat’s not a bad thing, of course, but it does negate any justification for trying to force vaccinations on anyone not in a high risk category, especially children.
My point is, if the EUA was issued under false pretenses, the vaccines are a major case of fraud from the get-go.
The only reason for lying and obscuring what the vaccines can or cannot be expected to do is to get the vaccine passports instituted.
The vaccine pushers will tell any lie in pursuit of that goal, even cover up the danger to young people.
How is it not glaringly obvious to everyone that the vaccine passports have nothing to do with public health?
There is no “public health” by the way, as one person’s state of health has nothing to do with another’s.

Doctors in the field world-wide quickly realized that ventilators were killing patients. They, in-spite of the WHO, Fauci and the CDC and FDA, were communicating amongst themselves and were sharing treatment protocols for early Covid and how to successfully treat patients once hospitalized.
With zero assist from any of the vaccine promoting organizations, these doctors figured out that steroids and anti-coagulants, certain antibiotics, Zinc, D3, large doses of vitamin C via IV and Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine etc. were useful treatment options.
By the time Trump landed at Walter Reed his doctors were using all these protocols on him, NOT because the CDC or the FDA recommended them, but because top physicians on the front lines were discovering what worked and what didn’t from good science and good common sense. And they communicated all these things to each other.
Eventually, all of this MUST come to light in the courts. From the beginning, the FDA was in financial cahoots with Big Pharma and was fully on-board with the jabs.They had ZERO intention of finding SAFE medical protocols to successfully fight this virus.
And for this, and for burying and censoring any honest discussions about Ivermectin and the other FLCCC protocols, the FDA should be prosecuted. No fines. Those in charge of this fully corrupt medical fraud should go to prison.
The EUA operates in spite of the existence of treatments. Therefore the purpose for an EUA did not exist from the start.
The only one I’ve heard actually say the “vaccine” provides “immunity” is “Joe Biden”. Consider the source.

Eric Topol certainly has a stellar reputation. He spent 13 years as a muckety-muck at the Cleveland Clinic (CCF). In 2002 he played a major role in securing a $100 million donation to fund the startup of the Lerner College of Medicine, affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic and the CWRU school of medicine.
Speaking as a physician who has worked near the Clinic (never for it) since 1979 I have always been impressed by the bad attitude the Clinic seems to have for practitioners not directly affiliated with it. It seldom communicates with them on the patients of those practitioners who have been affiliated with it. Getting medical records of those patients from the Clinic has been very difficult. This CCF ‘tude is commonly known among clinicians in NE OH in particular. On Thanksgiving my sister was hospitalized at one of their hospitals for COVID-19. I made multiple requests for one of the CCF physicians on her case to call me while she was hospitalized. They never did. She was discharged rather abruptly to one of their skilled nursing facilities for rehab. I also asked physicians there to call me, they never did. She was not able to walk when she was discharged from there (again our family was not consulted, just notified about her discharge the day it happened). She was sent back with just a walker to assist her (which she could only use with 2 people standing by), without a cane, and particularly without a wheelchair which she desperately needed. I had to go to Harbor Freight on New Year’s Day to buy one for her a day or so after CCF sent her back to her assisted living facility.
As her healthcare POA I sent a written request to CCF for my sister’s medical records. After more than one request from me for her record on a flash drive, I received a printout by mail instead, about 500 pages about 4 months after my original request. I remember hearing the loud “thump” when this ream hit my mailbox.
As a long term former leader at the CCF Eric Topol certainly was part of this “holier-than-thou” culture, bears some responsibility for continuing its defects, and from what JHK described, still holds himself above the rest of us filthy savage deplorables.

Personal note. My gf is just shy of 50, a bit heavy, a history of some sinus problems, asthma, occasional seizures, and mild auto-immune symptoms. Not perfect health, but not extremely compromised either. So, I’m unsure about vax for her. Probably against, but she’s nervous about getting covid, attracted by vaccine, and I don’t have enough evidence to counterract.
It would be nice to have real data by which to decide. Instead, this garbage sea of hype.

I am not convinced that covid19 is anything different than the flu, uness it was weaponized (and not well) by the Fauxi/Gates cabal.
But a friend said that one can be tested for Sars-2 (a coronavirus, hardly novel), and if so, why wouldn’t people be doing this before getting a vaccine?
The history of irregular immune responses MIGHT make her more immune responsive to the virus or the s proteins which seems to separate the moderately sick from the seriously sick. Taking the jab could be a problem with overreaction, but getting the disease could be worse. Risk management is at hand here. Very hard decision.
The lack of concrete data is a real bummer. Our CDC has been horrible at exploring this disease to give us advice.
If it was me, I would skip the shot and concentrate on avoiding exposure to the disease. This “surge” is nothing compared to last summer.
Most important:
Informed consent.
Awareness that she would be participating in a trial.
Awareness of the VAERS info.
Awareness of stats re prognosis for those with comorbidities.
Awareness of early treatment and available of physician who will treat early covid if needed.

This may also be the benchmark for the formation of beliefs favoring individual freedoms. Anyone with an IQ of less than 100 probably has no faith in their own decision-making and powers of discernment–and they are probably right about that. What they are thus unable to discern is that the other half of the population is not handicapped in this way.

Is the delta infection within expected limits? I know the flu shot has annual records worse than 50% effectiveness. A realistic analysis needs to be done, right now, on the intensity of Covid.

1. Vaccinating during an outbreak is stupid because the virus is still at large in the bodies of people vaccinated, and the vaccination creates selection pressure on the virus to mutate in more deadly fashion. Fewer mutations than “naturally” would take place, and the mutation process is “channeled” into more dangerous forms. 2. The existence of “variants” presumes that there is a virus that is mutating. The process of isolation of a virus sounds pretty complicated:

The test does not work according to its own inventor (Kary Mullis), and the man who modified it for Corona (WEF orc Christian Drosten here in Germany) used a computerized mock-up of what he thought the virus might look like to create it.
The test cannot determine sickness or “cases” by itself, and it can be manipulated according to its cycle rate. The cycle rate according to its inventor should never go above 29 or so, and most countries were setting it to 45, IIRC.

I just learned that here in North Carolina a census will be conducted to determine who has been vaxxed. They’ll be going door to door.

They are targeting poorer neighborhoods, too. A friend of mine lives in a small, poor town in NC and none of them are vaxxer types. So they send in government goons to try to intimidate them. This began months ago, wonder why they are just now reporting it.
This kinda stuff gives the Wokies a warm fuzzy.
They pretend to love ‘diversity’ and ‘equity’ but cheer when poor people are targeted ‘for their own good.’
I hadn’t heard until now that they were planning on conducting a census. Not sure why we hadn’t heard it reported.
A census requires cooperation.
Who here plans to cooperate?

They’ll simply end up surveying a mess of Democrats……just like they do when they conduct political polling.
And they’ll be just as far off the mark.
I think they know it, too. These pronouncements of door to door census efforts are designed to intimidate folks into taking the vax. It’s a mind-fuck. Nothing more.
Cuomo has said that people will be dragged out of their homes, put in cars, and taken off to be vaccinated, until everyone is vaxxed.
And he’s still in office.
I’ve been thinking of what would be an appropriate, non-violent, response to the door knockers.
I’ve decided that we should have a list of questions ready to give them. Tell them, when they’ve answered all the questions and provided evidence, then I’ll listen to their information.
I say this in all earnest, if you do not want to be injected by their shot, avoid being arrested. If you are taken into custody, you will NOT be able to resist a team sent to vaccinate you.
Do not give them a reason to arrest you.

Along with Jim’s theme of freedom of speech, etc. I decided to wear a mask inside a crowded Wawa last night even though I’m vaccinated with that “evil” mRNA vaccine. Full of twenty something CoV19 delta vectors crammed into the place. Many fresh from Florida beaches this summer run by science denier DeSantis.
Knowing that the vaccine is only 60% effective conservatively, I did what little I could to limit the risk.
There are younger people succumbing to this variant. Dying while hooked up to ventilators in medically induced comas struggling to get their blood O2 levels over 70%. Many being misinformed from such sources as the subject blog you’re reading today.
Much of what Jim says is right on target. His tacit encouragement of remaining unvaccinated in the face of a variant that is 225% more infection that the original is unfortunate.
Apparently you still don’t understand Outatime. The issue is more than just protection against an illness. The issue is widespread (and justified) distrust of an out of control government/bureaucracy and evil corporations. Or did you not comprehend his post? What did you not understand?
