History-the-trickster has paradoxically anointed the Great Disrupter, Mr. Trump, as the agent of order while the Democrats seek to bring chaos into every quarter of American life, a party of shrieking “Karens” and men acting like women. Such as: Tom Friedman of The New York Times mewling like a little girl to Anderson Cooper on CNN Thursday night that he was “living in terror,” that “everybody should be terrified,” because Mr. Trump “refuses to commit to accepting the election results.”

Is that so? I think it was Hillary Clinton who declared just a few weeks ago that “Joe Biden should not concede the election under any circumstances” — for instance, the circumstance that he loses the election. Of course, Mr. Trump, troll supremo, is simply punking his adversaries by proposing to play fair, that is, to play by the same rules they play by. And this only causes the Democrats to retreat into the chaos that is their comfort zone, where they hop up and down like fourteen-year-old girls in a tantrum.

They are provoked, you understand, because Mr. Trump actually represents the thing they hate most: Daddy! Daddy’s in da house, the White House, as a matter of fact, and this baleful symbolic circumstance has driven the Democrats out of their gourds for four years, turning them into a party of hysterical women and men acting like hysterical women. Would you want to get on an airplane in bad weather piloted by a crew of hysterical women? That’s kind of the Big Question going into this national election 2020.

Tantrums, tantrums everywhere! The hysterical women (including men) of the Democratic Party have enlisted Black Lives Matter as their official agents of chaos. It must be so, because every time chaos erupts in an American city, and buildings catch on fire, and businesses are looted and burnt down, and police are bushwhacked, the local Democrats in charge where these things happen do not offer a peep of objection. And neither Kamala Harris nor her sidekick Joe Biden send any message aimed at quelling the violent hysteria. One must conclude that they’re on-board with rioting, arson, looting, and bushwhacking. Like I said: chaos = their comfort zone.

The Democrats like chaos because it works as an effective smokescreen to conceal the dirty secrets of their private behavior, namely 1) the fantastic international web of grift among the Biden family that was just this week detailed in a report issued jointly by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and the Senate Finance Committee (none of which was reported by The New York Times, CNN, or MSNBC); 2) the widening gyre of John Durham’s investigation into the origins of RussiaGate and now, surprise surprise, also into the suspicious doings of the Clinton Foundation; and 3) the financing and orchestration of BLM /Antifa riot mobs by Democratic Party-affiliated non-profit orgs.

So then, there is the key matter at hand: The Democratic Party’s open promise to bring their trademark chaos to the November 3 election, based on the tactical plan drawn up in “war gaming” by the shady Transition Integrity Project this past summer. The idea is to swamp the country with harvested mail-in ballots in order to confound a resolution of the vote and sow chaos in the electoral college — to which they will bring an army of Lawfare attorneys who will engineer the desired outcome in the swing statehouses with Democratic governors, such as Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. If Mr. Trump objects to these shenanigans, he’ll be labeled a “tyrant.”

It’s just the kind of election strategy that a gang of middle-school girls would dream up. Because they are hysterical fourteen-year-olds with undeveloped brains, it would never occur to them that Daddy might have a notion what they are up to, and a counter-plan to frustrate their scheme. They are in such a fugue of rage that they can’t think one play ahead on the gameboard. Well, as the wily Bonaparte once remarked, “never interrupt the enemy while he is making a mistake.”

The death of Justice RBG has amplified the hysteria. The Democrats are not just having a tantrum, now they’re chewing up the furniture, ululating, beating their flanks, discharging gobs of snot, peeing their panties, and foaming at the mouth. If he was anyone else but Daddy, Mr. Trump might have to take them out and have them shot.

Instead, the President is going to nominate a sane and reasonable Mommy to the Supreme Court, and Uncle Cocaine Mitch is going to see that she is confirmed, and there is an excellent chance that together they will bring order back to this deranged household — and then perhaps we can turn our attention to the real existential problems of financial crisis and economic collapse.

Good morning, Jim. Thanks for the blog today.

The new Mommy to the Supreme Court appears most likely to be Amy Coney Barrett. She is from all accounts a very stolid, boring, very sane woman, brought up by a good, stable family.

The worst criticism that the democrats seem to come up with her is that (gasp!) she is a Catholic (!) and worse yet– (omg) she is a church going Catholic (!!)

It’s one thing to pretend to be religious, but to actually believe in… Christianity (??)

    (sarcasm off)..

    • Night Owl September 25, 2020 at 10:13 am #

Lagoa most likely. Barrett is the establishment pick, and compromised.

      • sophia September 25, 2020 at 10:24 am #

        How is she compromised?

      • Mostly Disagreeable September 25, 2020 at 11:28 am #

Yes, she is a tad authoritarian in her positions.

I hope he chooses Bridget Bade. No drama and it will help him pick off Arizona.

I’ve never known a Judge who bargains with their orders. So uh, aren’t all judges a tad authoritarian?

Our asshole Chief Justice, Roberts, is known to make horse trades with the lefties instead of ruling on the merits of the case in front of him

Both Mike Lee and Ted Cruz cast shade on Lagoa on the Glenn Beck show this week because “we don’t know much about her,” whereas Barrett is supposed to be a “safer” pick and the smartest clerk Scalia ever had. However, Barrett allegedly is a follower of the socialist Pope, which could get in the way of following the law.

As I recall, my mommy was pretty totalitarian as well.

    • hortonz September 25, 2020 at 11:28 am #

Meanwhile the BLM/Antifa mobs took to the streets of Louisville in an orgy of looting and burning when they learned a Grand Jury decided not to indict any of the officers in the Breonna Taylor death. Even poor old Jesse Jackson is telling the Woke mobs to knock it off.

    • cc rider September 25, 2020 at 7:12 pm #

If she is confirmed then that will be six Catholics on the Supreme Court. That is too many. Oh, and Catholics are Christian in name only. Idol worshiping pagans in fact.

And I am not being sarcastic.

Oh, and Barrett has spoken proudly how “her faith has played a role in her judicial career”. Lovely. That is not what the Founders intended.

      • Sredni Vashtar September 25, 2020 at 8:26 pm #

We need a balance of Christianity and Paganism since if ones tries to be “too good”, the balance is lost and great evil is the result. The Kaballah for example posit a Pillar of Mercy and an Pillar of Severity and a Middle Pillar. We have obviously slammed into the Pillar of Mercy and gone off the left side of the road.

The Jews with their emphasis on Wisdom don’t have this problem. They tend towards the excess of the Pillar of Severity.

She adopted two Haitian kids while she was pregnant. That indicates profound mental imbalance. Counting them she has seven. How pro-life. No doubt she sees them now and then too.

        • PeteAtomic September 26, 2020 at 9:16 am #

I’m awaiting the Senate democrats’ grilling questions of ABC like: “so.. do you really believe in ‘Western’ civilization??”

          and other such “gotcha” moments

          • abbybwood September 27, 2020 at 1:16 am #

Shredni: The adoption of two Haitian children while she was pregnant indicates to me that she and her husband probably did their financial due diligence and realized they could afford the added crunch on their budget, plus I can imagine they were all filled with love to share their family with the children and their lives all together. That is the definition of family. The new baby coming was their loving human cherry on that great big loving sundae to make it all perfect for them.

Lots of love and faith and patience and laughter and anxiety going on: They are a family! Grandparents too!

As my mom would have said, “God love them!”

And hopefully when she takes that cross town trip to court she will be wise enough to put her Supremes hat on while there and leave it behind when she is home with her family refereeing squabbles and playing cards or board games.

I think she will do just fine.

    • sstumpff September 25, 2020 at 9:53 am #

Corollary to your comment: It is both incredible and not surprising the amount of hypocrisy we are seeing from everyone since the death of Justice Ginsberg. This country balances on a Roe V. Wade fulcrum.

Which is yet another Female Problem. The grandmama of them all.

    • Night Owl September 25, 2020 at 9:58 am #

Not really. The Uniparty wants the borders erased and the country to no longer exist. They are globalists. The MAGA faction, or whatever you want to call it, are the folks who don’t.

This is not about fucking Reps and Dems. Who is funding the COLOR REVOLUTION. It is no mystery.

      • JohnAZ September 25, 2020 at 11:06 am #

Wow, I think you have hit on something.

What do the globalists want the United States to become? What will the uniparty drive us towards.

Here is a straw man. They want the Deep State to become a controller of a 400 million person brown America that is dependent on those globalist masters for sustenance. An America that is third world. An America that the remaining Whites, most will leave due to an extreme lack of opportunity, will live in fear of their task masters in DC. Enterprising Whites will be elsewhere, or maybe running a subset of what was America. Maybe New Zealand?

1% of America owns a considerable amount of its wealth. Think about it. The 1% of this country up and leaves. The country will be poor and third world.

A real question too is what constitutes the membership of the socialist globalist community. Is China, our main competitor, involved? Is the Democratic party fronting for the CCP?

One more, who is next in the sights for this gang of Worldly Marxists?
I will bet that Putin knows. I will also bet he will not let a domestic group of asshats to put the Russian Union into the globalist corner. Ironic, Russia may be the last opposition to the global Marxist takeover.

Trump loses, the progression Re-starts. Simple as that.

        • Rupert September 25, 2020 at 11:11 am #

400 million? They want a billion. They’ll burn the land and boil the seas in the quest for more power, more GDP, more sprawl, more stuff, more more more…

The whole thing will fall apart long before they get their billion, but they’re megalomaniacs who will see us all dead in their quest for glory.

          • Sredni Vashtar September 25, 2020 at 12:59 pm #

Yup, and every major “environmentalist” (Court Priests) is on the scam. Even ones who seem like they should be better, like Wendell Berry. Their concern for Nature is trumped by their White guilt and thus the inevitable call for the cosmic reparation of open borders.

        • hmuller September 25, 2020 at 11:54 am #

I suspect depopulation is more their agenda. The globalist elite see us useless eaters as consuming the limited and non-renewable resources of “their planet”. They claim on the Georgia Guide Stones they only need 500 million of us to serve them

So what will the world look like in 50 years? Mad Max, 1984, Hunger Games? I’m hoping for Star Trek, but I won’t be here to find out.

          • Rupert September 25, 2020 at 12:05 pm #

Makes me think of that prediction chart some group did a few years back predicting US pop circa 2025 at ~100m.

That’s a whole lot of megadeaths.

          • Sredni Vashtar September 25, 2020 at 1:02 pm #

If you pull out a pin to pop a balloon at a child’s birthday party, someone might see and cry, “fiend”. But if you just keep filling them up they’ll pop by themselves. You were just trying to help! Similarly, too many people will lead to a pop or population crash in the not too distant future.

          • hmuller September 25, 2020 at 3:27 pm #

So what are you saying? The population balloon needs bursting, so it would be good if someone engineered a real killer virus and eliminated 7 billion people?

          • EnterpriseSpaceship September 25, 2020 at 4:02 pm #

In 2017, a proposal in Physics has declared Star Trek another Hollywood’s lie.

An Energy hunger game might become real, though, or we are already living a one.

          • Sredni Vashtar September 25, 2020 at 8:27 pm #

So you DONT think there are too many people in the world?

          • EnterpriseSpaceship September 25, 2020 at 10:26 pm #

            @ Sredni Vashtar

Humans behave and reproduce like wild hogs when hunting them in the US and elsewhere has become an Industry by its own.

Existential threats encourage humans to reproduce.

This pandemic has already started a new round of baby-booming – and who blames humans?

            Feedback loops never end…

            Until Physics intervenes!

          • hmuller September 25, 2020 at 11:24 pm #

            Sredni,

You answer a question with a question. You must be Jewish. LOL Just kidding, Janos.

I’m saying technology which has been withheld from us by our masters would solve problems of material need. Scarcity and fear of scarcity is a big part of how they control us and divide us against each other.

But aside from that, no one with a moral conscience would sanction mass murder and genocide. It is beyond the pale.

          • Sredni Vashtar September 26, 2020 at 1:10 am #

Yes, to both you and Enterprise. Whites are not the problem in this regard, at least not anymore. So the answer is obvious: Zero immigration. Fortress America. Sit tight while the world dies and then Come Forth in Strength.

        • tlauria September 25, 2020 at 12:34 pm #

The Anglo world – USA, Canada, UK, Australia, NZ – is the target and what stands in the way of the globalist agenda.

After that Russia will be targeted for isolation according to this article:
          https://www.henrymakow.com/2020/09/martin-armstrong-covid-goal.html

Good blog today, Jim…thanks. I look forward to catching your latest podcast today, too.

I will say Mr. Trump throws his own brand of childish temper tantrums. It’s appalling to me this country can’t do better, but I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised. Mr “Law and Order”? We’ll see…

    • benr September 25, 2020 at 10:10 am #

      Tantrums from orange man bad…really?

Considering what the opposing party has been up to and what the media has lied non-stop about I would say he has been reasonable.
He is how ever man that likes to counter punch and troll his enemies.
      He revels in it.
Of course you won’t or can’t see it that way because you most likely are one of the fools in permanent tantrum mode deserving a solid trolling yourself.

      • JohnAZ September 25, 2020 at 11:10 am #

Simple. TC is a disciple of the years of history manipulation and lies of the media. All the Leftist bloggers here have no mind of their own, they are echoes of the Op-Ed pages of the Marxist MSM.

        • Sean Coleman September 25, 2020 at 12:04 pm #

“years of history manipulation and lies of the media”

Yes. Have you considered the possibility that the virus is also a media creation?

          • darrell dullnig September 25, 2020 at 12:43 pm #

SC — of course the virus is a media creation. It could hardly be otherwise, considering the timing and its authors. Not that a virus does not exist, but they are always with us, no?

          • Sean Coleman September 25, 2020 at 3:51 pm #

DD, it is not even clear if there is a new virus there, or even a specific virus. Comparisons have been made with AIDS where the HIV virus was identified as the pathogen (Duisberg (?) was a, or ‘the’, prominent sceptic here and I think Cary Mullis, inventor of the pcr test, also did not believe there was a link between that virus and the disease). AIDS itself has grown to comprise 27 different ailments. Outspoken German doctor Claus Kohnlein was a young doctor at the time working in a cancer ward and one of his patients was dying of cancer of the lymph nodes; shortly before his death he underwent a HIV test and was found positive and his death was recorded as AIDS. The pattern is famimliar. Amid the media hype doctors grasped for a miracle cure and AZT (which had been used in cancer treatment trials but proved to be too dangerous) was prescribed in abundance. Those who refused it survived.

Kohnlein claims that the present wretched virius has nothing new clinically. I have notcied that the list of symptoms is expanding and becoming ever more vague. The latest I have heard is an ‘outbreak’ in neighbouring Killorglin here in Kerry where the symptom is headache!

However I expect the HIV virus was actually isolated. Not so this current wretched virus. Many labs claim to have done so but when investigated (German journalists Samuel Eckert and (whatever) Engelbricht) they were told that, while they had not actually isolated the virus, they were confident that this was it. Ahem.

China reported 7 cases of a new virus on 30 December, in Wuhan, and a special team arrived to investigate the next day. Christian Drosten’s German team announced that they were preparing a test on 1 January! (An email from WHO to them on 30 December pre-empted this announcement.) They said that they had been alerted through social media of a SARS-like virus in Wuhan and had studied all the on-line virus information. They extracted a short sequence of genetic material (according to Wolfgang Wodarg, whom I remember saying this, reading it out from Drosten;’s documentation, back in late March) from SARS infected European bats and added som artificial (I think) nucleotides. They said that that there would be a close relation between this and the ‘new’ virus. (As Wodarg said at the time it did not seem to occur to them that they had designed a test to detect already existing SARS, which had left the human population and was now among animals like bats, but would likely be coming and going all the time.)

Drosten’s test was (from memory) announced on 24 January. The first The first clinical reoprts from China came three days later on 27 January. (Wodarg said back then that while Drosten was not making a penny out of selling the vaccine others in his team were making hundreds of millions.) WHO gave hurried approval because of the ‘crisi’.

This provisional solution is still going on. The virus has not been isolated. The symptoms are wider and vaguer. Testing has increased enormously. Even if it was a proper test, rather than looking for a needle in a haystack, pcr tests (like all tests) are not fully accurate. I think SARS tests in general have a margin of error between 1 to 2% to about 9%. In other words , even if there is nothing there, people are showing up (false positives). I have heard of no country that routinely announcs the number of tests alongside the headlines about ‘increases in infections.

There is more. Back in April the EU said (from memory) that there were 78 different ‘swabs’ and 110 different tests. The later could have reached 1,000 by now. Different labs with different procedures, different levels of (risky) ‘multiplying’

Should have put this in earlier but just remembererd. Another parallel with AIS. Virus patients have been treated with immune suppressants like anti-virals, cortisone and antibiotics. Kohlneln has referred often to a case study in The Lancet where a patient in his fifties was given all o the above, plus Inteferon, in large doese. The patient died despite the treatment. Besides? asked Kohnlein. No, because of it. A healthy person would probably survive all that medication but not a sick one.

There is more. Another scientist (possbly Fabio Franchi) said that it is common knowledge that many people put into quarantine folowing a postivie test developed no symptoms. This is common knowledge of course. Not so well known is the fact (he alleges) that between 30% and 50% of the early Italian vicitms (depending on Italian and German estimates) had tested negative.

One of the above mentioned in passin gthat the Chinese doctor who died of the virus at the start (JHK made a big deal out of it) had been tested negative several times before he tested positive.

Another of the above (Kohnlein I htink) surmised that Alexander ‘Boris’ Johnson probably was given large doses of hydrochloroquine, which has a low ‘therapuetic index which means that it becomes toxic over low doses. He says that icountires with a large Covid spike prescribed a high ‘entry’ dose of the drug. It is dangerous for people whose ancestry is in malaria-ridden areas. This might expalin the reported higher deaths among Blacks in America better than systemic racism.

The above is just one, albiet vital, part of the comedy of errors. There are the stats of course. The insane media reportage. The alarming lack of reason in policy making. (And the layman has demonstrated an inability to hold more than twho or threee elements in his head at any one time.) And above all the uncanny similarity to earlier scares, not just AIDS.

The punchline, of course, is that it is yet another example of collective fantasy.
Once again we are dealing with collective fantasy.

      • Sredni Vashtar September 25, 2020 at 1:06 pm #

And with a counter punch, the attacker and hysterical onlookers claim that the victim was the aggressor – just as Antifa claim that drivers tried to run them over when they block the highway.

Donald Trump is unique in that he is singularly without hate.

Yes he is. He doesn’t even hate Hillary.

“History-the-trickster has paradoxically anointed the Great Disrupter, Mr. Trump, as the agent of order while the Democrats seek to bring chaos into every quarter of American life…”

Well put Jim. Half the country (a lot less by now), is indulging in Jungian psychological projection: where they project their own evil side upon their enemy. I am simply gobsmacked at how people can actually believe that Trump is trying to steal the elections after the Democrats voted for the guaranteed chaos which is mail-in-voting. Educated people believe this in all earnestness! How can they or anyone else every take themselves seriously again after such an insane inversion of facts and logic? You even had an economics professor on your KunstlerCast two episodes ago who thought it was the mythical “right wing” which was rioting in Democrat cities.

Perhaps the last few months have been a blessing in disguise. Like someone possessed by a demon who never before showed any signs of it, but now convulses in a macabre fit of hallucination and malevolence, the Democrats have finally revealed their true nature to the entire nation. What a spectacular and grotesque public display it’s been – mob violence, statues of America’s heroes being torn down, America’s values and its founding fathers being being slandered, police defunded, rioting, violence, murder – all of it with the Democrats’ approval. Americans (hopefully more than half the nation) are finally opening their eyes and seeing for the first time who their real enemy is.

I think it may be wishful thinking. Matt Taibbi has been on the “echo chamber” phenomenon for awhile now. People are standing around with either their right or left eye open, rarely both.

      • thirdcoastlegend September 25, 2020 at 10:14 am #

        Sadly I agree.

We live in the age of feelz not realz, and the Left is far better at understanding and leveraging this reality.

      • Night Owl September 25, 2020 at 10:19 am #

Taibbi himself is not far removed from the echo chamber. He’s playing the middle like a few other mostly respectable progs (Greenwald, Dore, etc.). But they are too afraid to speak the unvarnished truth, as they could not face themselves if they did.

Not even close. They are just honest enough to call out the truth to a certain extent. SpyGate, the coup, etc. cannot be ignored by anyone of reasonably good faith.

They will never go all the way though and admit that Trump has been a great president on nearly every issue that counts. And for that, they have certainly lost respect.

Their position is easy. The difficult position is the one in which you face the crazed mob looking to destroy your country.

The women problem America faces begins with us WASPs, we put our little darlings up on the pedestal and now the pedestal is being shoved up our backsides. Our perfect beings of beauty and grace which needed protecting and conquering the savages to keep them safe on their shopping trips has been agreed and amplified upon till it is now a monster devouring America.

Bill Clinton made bank on this in 1992 with his “feelings” act, that was pure evil genius. And much of BLM’s support comes from black women tired of being second fiddle to some idealized white beauty, which frankly has been reduced to instagram porno.

America, NO let it go, we have to start over.

Thus they join the BLM to spit on us as you say. Black women can’t even get away from them in their own organization. Of course they serve the Globalists so it really isn’t theirs in that sense. Ditto for the Obama administration, etc.

It’s not that they are ungrateful all by themselves. It is subversion. You know, when we acknowledge that most people don’t think for themselves, that is far truer, deeper and more broadly true than I had realized. People are followers. Intelligence has nothing, and I mean that, to do with it. They think, feel and react as they have been indoctrinated or taught or encouraged to do. The people don’t matter much. The leaders, the educators, the institutions given access to them – that is everything.

      • newworld September 25, 2020 at 10:47 am #

Speaking of black figurehead governance of the American Empire, I have the perfect allegory. In Chicago the mayor has a little activist nonsense over the census of having some halfwitted black guy playing cowboy who whipped a horse to death or near death by galloping it down the Dan Ryan expressway. Truly an awful spectacle but pretty much what the “Liberals” and CivNat conmen conservatives have given us with their blank slate imbued ideology.

America being whipped to death by a near retarded black man wearing dreadlocks.

        • newworld September 25, 2020 at 10:54 am #

For you CivNat conmen, how do you reach Heglian synthesis with the likes of Dreadlock Cowboy and his brilliant leadership? I honestly want to know.

Or screeching white girl having meltdown over Ruth “age of consent 12 yrs old” Ginsburg finally doing the decent thing?

Do we listen to more Hannity, the voice of loyal opposition to Dreadlock Cowboy or Screeching White Girl? I am starting to have my doubts that the conservative Hannity can find synthesis with the above two types or that I even want that.

          • Sredni Vashtar September 25, 2020 at 1:25 pm #

Yes, we can have either the Rhinestone Cowboy or the Dreadlock Cowboy. We have to choose. As Moses said, I offer you life and death. Choose. It’s that white and black.

And yes, one does not mourn when an enemy dies. – Sredni

            ==========

Haven’t you told us many times that the native Indians would pray for the soul of the animals they killed for food? Please don’t quibble about the word ‘enemy.’

          • Sredni Vashtar September 25, 2020 at 8:32 pm #

Well an animal is not an enemy in general, though there may be exception. And Buzzy was no mere animal, but a determined and ruthless enemy. Really spiritual people can forget the enemy part and pray for a fallen foe as a worthy being. But if it becomes a popular attitude (as it has), the Nation is doomed. Enemies are enemies. Ordinary people get things like this confused.

Some people merely wanted to be on the correct side due to the execrable George W. Bush.
I don’t know how they missed it that the Democrats were on his side in all but a few key issues.

I know far more people who considered themselves conservative, if not Republican, who now see their support of Bush as a mistake, although what was their alternative, really.

Donald Trump’s election was their (and my) attempt to fix what was wrong with that party.

A lot of people still don’t get that.

They also don’t seem to ‘get’ that the orange man is hardly an ideal champion.

The mob seems to think that since Breonna Taylor didn’t do anything wrong and the cops shot her that the cops must have done something wrong and “murdered” her? They don’t seem to understand that a prosecutor does not look at what the victim did, but at what the defendant(s) did at the time of the incident and their state of mind. Since the mob doesn’t have even rudimentary training in the law, they can’t understand what’s going on, and they are projecting a very primitive, childlike interpretation of “Justice” on the case, and they acting like primitive, barbaric thugs when their ignorant, nincompoop concept of “Justice” is not satisfied. I feel sorry for the poor Kentucky Attorney General, Daniel Cameron, who was just doing his job. “Pearls before swine.” The people are too ignorant and irrational. Barbarians….

    • Beryl of Oyl September 25, 2020 at 10:32 am #

The mob was fueled in part by perhaps deliberately sloppy reporting in the MSM.

        • hmuller September 25, 2020 at 12:18 pm #

benr, In my experience, about once a year the BLM minded crowd finds a totally innocent black person killed by police who made mistakes. The rest of the time their martyrs are felons flawed by being in the process of committing a crime or violently resisting arrest.

By the way, the police kill plenty of white people under similar circumstances. But none of those cases ever get publicity. The MSM presents a narrative twisted to their agenda of identity politics and dividing Americans against one another by race.

      • JohnAZ September 25, 2020 at 11:39 am #

The MSM is what is destroying America. Hiding behind their rights in the first amendment , they forget their responsibility, to tell the truth. To provide unbiased information to the public and keep their damnable opinions on the editorial page. CNN and MSNBC should be destroyed. It is truly amazing to look at internet news services and see there is not a single news source, not one that is supportive of a Constitutional United States, including even Fox recently. Even the magazines have turned into Marxist rags.

ok here is my wild eyed conspiracy theory. This is Bob Bork and Arthur Kennedy all over again. When President Ronald Reagan nominated Bob Bork for SCOTUS . The Judiciary Committee headed by Joe Biden tore him apart . But they picked the wrong man he argued with them until they were exhausted then withdrew his nomination.

Enter Arthur Kennedy who was the man Reagan really wanted on the Court. Joe Biden and his gang approved him quickly because they had embarrassed themselves so badly .

When Dem,Libs get done trashing Amy Coning Barret, the Latina judge Barbara Lagoa will step up and be nominated easily. Even though she is Catholic too.

    • JohnAZ September 25, 2020 at 11:46 am #

Barret has already been vetted in the Senate when she got her Court of Appeals nod. She is taking on the wrath of the entire Liberal side of the US, I hope she is ready. One issue, of course, abortion. She will soar through, even Murkowsky(?) of Alaska will vote for her. Even the RINOs will sign up to her as they realize that losing the opportunity of having a conservative Supreme Court is worth more than trying to get the Orange interloper. Maybe the balance of power afforded by this appointment will hold off the Marxist takeover for a generation.

  14. sophia September 25, 2020 at 10:37 am #

I for one am sorry that this supreme court nomination is confabulated with Roe V Wade. This is a kind of deal breaker for many. I don’t think it is right or the right time to make abortion illegal. We have enough contention at the moment without dragging right to life into it. But it also seems to me that the left has overplayed its hand on abortion rights with its recent insistence that infanticide should be allowed. This has really made me back off. In fact, certain things about even gay rights have given me pause as the governor of California has apparently introduced or approved legislation to allow adults to have sex with teenagers. There seems no end to the left pushing for more.

That virtue-signaling sign showing up in many a yard makes a statement of belief that “love is love”.
In fact, people on Facebook are being subjected by people they thought were their friends, to a sort of “pure thinking” test.

Not only must you agree that “love is love” (which since I know what’s behind that, of course I don’t agree, but I don’t use Facebook), you also have to agree that the Wuhan flu is “dangerous”.

That is the word being bandied around by the fearful and the politically correct, on and off Facebook. “Dangerous”. When you see the same terms and phrases appearing in different places, that is a sign you are being brainwashed.

    • Rupert September 25, 2020 at 11:26 am #

The problem with the judiciary is that it has become a sort of super-legislature. Abortion should have been decided by legislation- the states are the best level for this. Same with things like gay marriage. Using the courts to ramrod massive social change through makes them a hot potato and if the other side gets a bite at the apple in this game, well, we see the results.

Oh James Howard, I can hear the screams of “You evil sexist pig” resonating off Democratic walls everywhere. You are of course Right On in your depiction. The most emotionally viscous attack during my early teen years, one which demanded immediate physical response to, was to be accused of acting like a little girl. The democrat “leaders” must surely know the game is over for slow no show joe. Even the MSM is calling out the Harris-Biden non dynamic duo for being totally No Show. It’s that bad. Drugging slow joe will NOT work for 90 min, no matter how heavy a dose. There are therapeutic limits beyond which a negative outcome occurs and the timeframe is too long. With your admonition of the 29th fast approaching, I am securely ensconced with appropriate libation within reach, awaiting with malicious glee said announcement. As always; Practice, practice and practice with bad intentions.

There are rumors that the Democrats are re-thinking the Vote By Mail thing.
Voting early has left people in the lurch before, when their preferred candidate has dropped out of the race.

      • Rupert September 25, 2020 at 11:29 am #

Voting should be done in person, on the day of (preferably a declared federal holiday), on paper ballots, counted by hand- no machines- with a webcam recording and feeding info live to a streaming site where people at home can watch the count and keep an eye on chain of custody of the ballots. You should need to show current ID to vote, and after the fact your hand should be marked with that purple ink they used so famously in Iraq.

Ballots will be counted on the livestream with observation open to the public, with representatives of all sides on site as it occurs.

The only place for ‘tech’ in an election should be in monitoring. Anything else opens up tomfoolery.

        • JohnAZ September 25, 2020 at 11:50 am #

As long as voting methodology is set by the polity, graft will be involved.

          • Rupert September 25, 2020 at 12:10 pm #

Sadly. An election can only be as honest as the people involved. No system is perfect and even a better America had urban political machines, weaponized naturalization, etc.

The ancients with their cycle of aristocracy, monarchy, and democracy had a point- every system has its Ideal form and its corrupted forms. The republic, which quickly began devolving into mass democracy, is now corrupted and the elections are rigged and the results of those rigged events hardly matter as even if the ‘wrong guy’ wins the bureaucracies will keep on keepin’ on.

        • benr September 25, 2020 at 12:31 pm #

I like the low tech approach of voting with your finger using strong ink.

No way to cheat unless you buy the pollsters.
Walk in with an inked finger and try to vote again get walked out in hand cuffs.

        • Sredni Vashtar September 25, 2020 at 1:41 pm #

And a mandatory ten year sentence for vote fraud. Armed guards at every polling center, ready to arrest any such malfactors.

The half life of adderall (dextroamphetamine) is 10 hours; a 30mg dose taken at 2pm is 50% metabolized out at midnight. That’s why it is generally not taken after 1pm (sleep disruption).

If one were in a debate, say at 8 to 10pm, taking the 30mg dose at 6pm will significantly enhance their cognition, and get them thru. Hence, Trump’s wanting drug screens for himself and pedo jo.

The proviso here is that in the elderly, adderall is generally contraindicated, for chronic, continued use, due to induction of hypertension and cardiac dysrhythmias. But, in most cases, those pathologies take days and weeks to evolve, unless otherwise…..

Touching on the grift of the Bidens, the rumored back up candidate figures in that story:

    https://nypost.com/2020/09/24/andrew-cuomos-guest-appearance-in-the-hunter-biden-scandals/

These stories of Andrew Cuomo’s involvement in corruption aren’t new, it has been remarkable how everyone closest to him goes in the slammer, and he remains pure.

Another one who came out in support of Biden early.

A reminder, anyone and everyone who still speaks of Biden as if he is a legitimate candidate, and not suffering from late-stage dementia, no matter if they believe they are justified, is a corrupt liar.

    Looking at you, Bernie.

    • Sredni Vashtar September 25, 2020 at 1:44 pm #

And to think, the little bird landed on Bernie’s podium back in 2016. He had the mandate of Heaven if he had only been pure enough to go with his best self, the one in favor of closed borders. Instead he followed the party for 30 pieces of silver (a lake house) and utter moral ruin.

  17. Zoltar September 25, 2020 at 10:43 am #

Bill won the White House in the first place by betting on a premise that seems obvious in hind-sight: “It’s the economy, stupid.” Its 2020 counterpart, undeclared by the Republicans, but obvious enough, is “It’s not having your home burned down and pillaged, stupid.”

In January liberals will be shaking their dazed heads over their failure to understand that it would be difficult to think of a more powerful turn-off for voters than to wink at threats to the sanctity of their neighborhoods.

Jim, love ya, mean it. I have read everything you’ve ever written and followed you for over 20 years. I have always respected your opinion on a wide range of topics. This blog post is when you went over the cliff into total un-readability. Your interpretation of the current political situation is so grotesquely backward and presented in such an obnoxious trolling style, a thoughtful and well informed reader can just no longer follow you on this journey anymore. At least this one cant. Trump as an agent of order in a world of chaos caused by Democrats? Seriously, dude. Take a step back and re-evaluate how you reached this point. Best of luck – a very sad long-time reader.

Nose: I’m sticking with Jim, but don’t disagree with you.

Anyone – even our host here – who loses sight of the fact that both tribes are odious and are offering us atrocious choices for president has gone off the deep end. And all of the misogyny is gratuitous.

I agree that the Dems have gone so completely insane that they are the greater evil here, but Trump and the GOP are still more than evil enough to destroy this country.

      • Rupert September 25, 2020 at 12:30 pm #

Saying that, sad as it is, a Trump more loyal to the platform he ran on originally would be far less wicked than the establishment offerings.

Establishment policy is the banality of evil made manifest.

      • King of Comedy September 25, 2020 at 9:08 pm #

That’s the crux of it. Democrats have become so odious that Trump is palatable. If somebody told me four years ago that I would be pulling the lever for Trump this time around, I would have laughed in their face. Taking it even further, I will decide on all local propositions on the ballot by simply voting the opposite of the Democratic position.

I see nothing in JHKs above blog that’s not true, IF ONE ALLOWS ONESELF TO SEE IT (or just read widely and not listen to cnn, etc). People like JHK are dangerous to democrats/socialists because he is a registered dem. What he is saying is hard to accept (esp for libs, dems, wannabe elites) in part due to having to realize that there are truly insane and evil people running the dem party, deep state and house of ‘reps’.

This fight is not really about dems and repubs; it’s about marxism/ massive hyperinflation/socio-economic destruction vs. continuing the attempt to have a functioning economy and some degree of law enforcement control of the ORKs and other insane retards that are loose in society (due to failure to maintain mental hospitals) and now out and about. Its also about yielding control of your life to the central government (dems in the main) vs. individual freedom and some choices (repubs in the main).

Eventually the Black women in Black Lives Matter will get tired of being led around by all the uppity White college grads clutching their copies of “White Fragility” as they slobber kisses on the feet of their Black sisters: “We know you can never really forgive us because our racism against you can never die! We are not worthy to loot this antique store with you or to even take a Molotov cocktail from your divine hands. We are not worthy!”

Black women in BLM will eventually wise up to the fact that it is White women (and men) who are in control of all the $$$ and major decisions.

Being played is no fun. Realizing you are being played and used is even worse.

    • nosepail September 25, 2020 at 2:57 pm #

I have enjoyed your acerbic sense of humor in the past. But this past seemed filled with pointless and un-funny misogyny. Also: The totally backwards interpretation of who is jeopardizing the integrity of our elections and our democracy. (It’s the democratic party endangering our elections, not the guy who has been spewing lies about voter fraud since November 2016??? Come on, Jim…). The endless spewing of fever-swamp conspiracies around Hillary and Hunter Biden and the Democratic party. I used to love you because you were “allergic to conspiracy theories”. Now you’re difficult to distinguish from Fox, or even QAnon and Alex Jones on some topics.

For the record, I am no huge fan of BLM in general. It seems to be mostly based on moral panic and a complete confusion on the statistics surrounding police violence. And I am certainly no fan of riots and looting. I think the way the GOP is handling the concept of Supreme Court justices in recent years is rather loathsome and dangerous for the separation of powers, but I’m not wringing my hands over it. All these things you seem to not like about “the left” are mere drops in the bucket compared to the tsunami of corruption and existential danger brought on by Trump and the GOP. Where did your ability to weigh a set of bad things and determine which is the most dangerous go? You just seem to have lost all sense of proportion. You also seem to be invigorated by the adoring responses of the right wing trolls in the comments section. There just seems little value in reading you anymore, since nothing you write (at least on politics) is making sense any more.

      • Rupert September 25, 2020 at 3:19 pm #

The GOP didn’t have the power to cancel his speaking tours in the name of their religion, the left very much does.

Nose: Now it is you who has run off the rails. If you honestly still think that the mountain of substantiated chicanery committed by Hillary, the Bidens, and the DNC is the stuff of “conspiracy theories,” then why in Hell have you continued to read this blog for the past four years?

MSNBC broadcasts Rachel McCarthy every evening at nine. Give that a try. It sounds like you will like it.

        • nosepail September 25, 2020 at 3:50 pm #

“why in Hell have you continued to read this blog for the past four years?”

Good question. The fever swamp always looks convincing to the people in the swamp. I guess I was always hoping Jim was not in it these last 4 years. Despite mounting evidence to the contrary, I kept hoping the “allergic to conspiracy theories” Jim would eventually win out.

            Nosepail,

Much of history is decided by conspiracies. What about Hillary’s claim of “a vast right-wing conspiracy”? Is she delusional, whacko crazy, just imagining boogeymen after her?

Do your side’s conspiracy theories hold merit; while other people’s conspiracy theories are summarily dismissed as nonsense, without examination?

I suspect you are not too picky about truth and facts; more of a knee-jerk ideologue.

          • Zoltar September 25, 2020 at 6:56 pm #

            Nose:
Let me walk you through this: We live in a world in which rich and powerful people make plans in secret. That’s what a conspiracy is. In order for the people to figure out what they are up to they must gather information, draw inferences, and make hypotheses, which develop into theories. That’s called the scientific method.

The pejorative term “conspiracy theory” was promulgated by the CIA to discredit any efforts to get to the bottom of the shit they pull. As if on puppet strings, stupid people ridicule any and all “conspiracy theories,” rather than investigating and evaluating them, which is the responsibility of any citizen who thinks America is worth saving.

          • nosepail September 28, 2020 at 7:45 pm #

Like I said, I’m just a guy who has been reading and listening to Jim for years. Jim has sensible and thought stimulating views on many topics. Unfortunately the current political situation in America appears not to be one of them in my opinion. So I expressed my disappointment. Not sure why that makes me a “paid shill” or a “troll” or “delusional” or why I should limit my attention to some news anchor I never heard of. In fact if anyone appears to be suffering from severe epistemological problems it would be some of the posters on this message board. The astonishing level of corruption of the current president is of epic proportions, as the entire world recognizes. It is an obvious fact that the president is doing everything possible to invalidate the upcoming election, stir up his supporters, and muddy the waters so that he can find some way to stay in power if he loses. If you want to posit some alternate reality where its actually the Democrats who are doing that, then knock yourself but it’s a batshit bonkers notion. Furthermore, if you want to follow in the conservative tradition of building a nefarious mythology around some minor figure such as Hunter Biden, and claim that whatever corruption he has been involved with outweighs whatever Trump and his clan has perpetrated on the American people, then again feel free. But be clear: it shows a remarkable inability to see the obvious, use critical reasoning, and weigh the relative severity of all the events of the past 4 years. You’ve put yourself so far out of the reach of reasonable discussion if you believe such things, you’re not worth a decent person’s time. Good day, sirs.

I agree, I’ve enjoyed Jim’s writing on subrubs since 2005 long emergency. I remember his early podcast with Duncan. I kinda stopped reading for a few years bc things started to get repetitive, but always love the suburb analysis and always appreciated Jim’s point of view. Just in in the past year or so I started following the blog again bc in many ways things are following the arc laid out in long emergency. Jim was onto too something then. But somewhere Jim went from indiosyractic too cartoonishly absurd (maybe h always was though and I just liked that as a young man) Now I figure its maybe bc the suburb rhetoric wasnt getting the draw it once did, print or speaking wise, but this railing on Trump critics thing is getting the job done. It’s hard to be a writer these days gotta do what you gotta do I guess.
Still got respect Jims early writing

There was a point in history where they could tax you at 90%.
If you made 1 million they would get 900k and you got 100k.

Yep its all about paying “your fair share”!

Yeah, that was true when I was a boy. But you have to take into account there were so many allowable deductions that no one really paid 91% of their real income (just the net taxable income).

      • Zoltar September 25, 2020 at 3:49 pm #

        benr:

Yes, in the 1950s the tax rate was 91 percent on an income of a million dollars. That would be like making ten million per year today and still having a million in your pocket after taxes.

No-one “earns” ten million bucks per year; you are simply the beneficiary of a system that permits you to keep most of the value produced by the hundreds of people whose hard-working shoulders you are standing on.

When society has reached that sorry state of affairs, having the tax system redistribute most of that money to the workers who actually earned it is the only fair solution. You’ll still get by with your million after taxes.

The continued enthusiasm of people like you for this sort of exploitation is hurtling this nation toward a reckoning, and you won’t think you had a thing to do with it.

It took me a few years to get my wife to sit down in front of my computer monitor and read one of Jim’s blog essays. She wasn’t too thrilled with it either because… too many ‘big words.’

Then along came the essay a few weeks ago titled “bill of particulars” where Jim finally announced in no uncertain terms that he would be voting for Trump. THAT did it for my wife. I am not surprised since we live in a very blue town in the shadow of Rutgers U. She (my wife) and all her female chums are virulently anti-Trump. Her reason has nothing to do with substantive issues like, say, abortion or the wearing of Covid masks but rather the fact that “Trump is such a complete asshole. How could any sane person vote for such an asshole?” she repeatedly asks. I tell her it’s not very ladylike for a 70 year old woman to use the word “asshole.”

Now, if I am able to get her to read today’s essay, Jim will be declared a “misogynist” AND an “asshole,” like Trump.

Reminds me of the joke where all the body parts are arguing which is best. The brain thinks it is best because no brain no thinking. The eyes claim they are best etc. Then the anus announces it is best and all the other body parts laugh.

hmm, no big word for a few months for me – but there’s no proof, as I’ve been banned for 4 years. Him voting trump is just a $$$ move. Just like this site has become so alt-right it’s not even pretty. Easy to con these inbred white racist retards, they so deep in the muck.

Like I said you shoulda just banned me outright. Otherwise, you have to hear my drivel. And deal with an opposing opinion. I have to admit, I’m shocked I can even poast here – heh.

Yes, 4 years banned – it don’t make me hate, it just makes me speak truth until I’m banned again. JHK’s on the alt-right train no doubt, big $$$ there – I get it. Just like black republicans – big $$$. I always laugh at those N***as – they feel so safe with whitey. Taking that bribe, no doubt.

I got no problem you wanting to make money off these degenerates – in fact, I applaud it – bleed them dry, JHK. Maybe you can make them cry – that would be funny. You want to be honest? I highly doubt that. But whatever, *BATTLEGROUND STATES* are all that mattter, and the rest of us are just dupes (negative 3 million – WINNER).

I haven’t watched the news in a while but decided to this past week to watch NBC. After a break of two months, it’s much easier to spot the incendiary (but subtle) attacks, misinformation and willful deletions of important stories on the national stage. There’s not a word about Hunter Biden and the Ukraine, but there are carefully edited clips of Joe Biden, a sugary segment on the love and devotion of Kamala’s lucky husband, and an endless repetition of the shooting of Brianna Taylor.

And no clarity on who the arrest warrant was for that night, how her boyfriend was able to get his gun, aim and fire since he was “surprised” by the police’s no-knock entry and other details that might not place the happy couple in such a rosy spotlight. It was a tragedy she was shot — nothing she did or didn’t do warranted that — but I don’t think that apartment was picked at random.

I recently moved and haven’t registered to vote but have been contacted three times from a group called Powered by People wanting to know if I’ve received my ballot. The last text indicated it was a volunteer from Beto’s group. This may all be perfectly legit but I didn’t respond to them.

I haven’t watched TV news or listened to the news on the car radio in two months either. MSM has gotten ridiculous. I scan headlines on my phone and that’s about it, but all THAT is is incendiary clickbait. Yesterday at work I spent several hours on a project with a few young people whom I’d never met. I was their elder by 30 years and I felt like I was surrounded by cyborgs. They couldnt stop talking about RBG and Breonna, and upon introduction they were asking one another what pronouns they were. They/Them He/She etcetera. They were all very angry and touchy, and oh so programmed. Running in emotion with hardly any critical thinking.

You may have missed this piece of news about the never-ending generosity of Michael Bloomberg:

“This week, former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg donated nearly $16 million to a fund that is paying fines and court fees of felons in Florida so they can vote in the upcoming election.

In Florida, a campaign to raise money to pay the fines and court fees of felons got a big boost this week – $16 million from billionaire and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Felons in Florida who have served their time can legally register to vote only after they have paid all court-ordered fines and fees. As NPR’s Greg Allen reports, not everyone is happy that others are helping them pay their costs and register to vote.

Bloomberg’s $16 million contribution gets Meade’s group close to the goal of $25 million it set to get fines paid so people with felony convictions can register to vote by Florida’s October 5 deadline. In a memo reported by The Washington Post, the Bloomberg organization said it’s used donations to the fund as a cost-effective way of adding votes to the Democratic column.”

NYC lies in ruins, and a former mayor concerns himself with felons in Florida.

Andrew was supposed to win Florida by all that attention and money paid to Puerto Rico, on New York’s dime, I might add.
Notice what a great job he did.

He and the other Democrat leaders were down there around Thanksgiving, and never thought to have a look inside a warehouse which was full of badly needed supplies.

Maybe that’s where all the ventilators went too.

It’s too bad, really, seeing his plans derailed because a bunch of people, thousands actually, objected to his deliberately putting their loved ones in harm’s way, via the virus that really was “dangerous” when it came to that cohort.

Was it malicious in intent? Or merely grossly negligent/incompetent/ indifferent, depravedly so?

      Andrew IS pretty stupid.

Not speaking for all Floridians, but speaking AS a Floridian, I say that if the Left is going to take on the responsibility of paying, fines, court costs, restitution, etc., for convicted felons, why stop there?

Why not go all-in, and offer to serve their time as well, and relieve them of that responsibility, also?

Here’s the scary part, some on the Left, if not many, would actually do it.

      Bloomberg loves to waste money.

Seriously. How many of these ex felons could be bothered to vote or even bother to go through the process of getting a ballot? And filling it out without double voting or making some other error? Not signing it or putting the wrong date would invalidate the ballot.

I don’t think the Democrats will get much bang for their buck out of this stunt.

  27. beantownbill. September 25, 2020 at 11:54 am #

Generally, I agree with almost all of what CFNers and JHK talk about. But these discussions are not the point, and that concerns me. While this political theatre of the absurd is playing out, there’s no discourse about the real issues: overpopulation vis-a-vis the Earth’s carrying capacity, destruction of our environment, climate change, and our old friend, the eventual running out of oil. These are not political issues, but taken together existential matters of survival.

If life – especially human life – ceases, then it makes no difference if the US becomes socialist/communist or breaks up into another entity. Rather than putting our emotional energy into thinking about the present political scenarios, IMHO, we ought to be apprehensive about our children’s and grandchildren’s future if they have any; and what we should do about it.

When things really get bad in the near future and your kids have a questionable chance to survive, then you will rethink your decision to just pray and not do anything else. If God wanted to help us, I think he would have done something about it by now. He must be really pissed at us when he looks over the beautiful world he created and sees what we’ve done to it. BTW, I’m not mad at you, I’m just in my preacher mode now.

BTB, The Earth Abides. Human life will not disappear unless some species specific virus comes along and targets us. Even then some will be immune. Look around. The place is still beautiful. I don’t see it going anywhere. The leaves are changin’. and the hills are beautiful. Everything changes but everything stays the same. Times are bad, times are good. So what? Ignore the bastards.

        • Rupert September 25, 2020 at 1:27 pm #

You aren’t wrong, but anything we -can- do is small scale and akin to building an ark for the deluge to come.

Nothing wrong with preaching the word, though. The more people who see the flood to come the better chances for larger action become.

      • SW September 25, 2020 at 12:41 pm #

Just as political issues have been trivialized, so have the big issues that really will effect life on earth. But to face those, much less discuss them rationally, require a level of maturity and a willingness to face problems that are inherently depressing. My youngest daughter recently told me that I’m a “negative” person b/c I don’t think we can “save the planet” by recycling. We must “be optimistic” and “maintain hope” which (for me) means not facing facts squarely. And this is by no means the younger generation either. The Power of Positive Thinking was a pernicious, shallow bromide that encouraged people to stop looking at the whole picture and attack the messenger if they disagreed.

        • beantownbill. September 25, 2020 at 1:13 pm #

Funny, my daughter and wife say the same things. People refuse to dwell on any scary future. It requires a hard-nosed recognition of reality, and most of us live for today, not face things head on.

The Global Elite want 500 million so you should be with them. But are they with you and yours? Will your descendants be among that group?

The issue is the very essence of politics, which has to do with survival, who wins and thrives and who gets pushed into slim pits at the edge of existence.

      Not political indeed!

      • SW September 25, 2020 at 4:12 pm #

The Global Elite may think they decide who survives and who gets kicked to the curb but it’s all hubris. Nature will decide. I just finished reading Spillover by David Quammen, a book about how viruses enter the human population, why some thrive and others hit a dead end. After reading it, I can better understand why the CDC hit the panic button with coronavirus and are still very worried.

The last chapter was an allegory about an infestation of caterpillars in his hometown. They overpopulated, got infected with a virus and the population crashed. With 7 billion + , we’ve provided a lot of food for them.

The Democrat Party has become the (Socialist Identity Party) and promise Progressive fantasies, (The Carrot), i.e. Bernie’s unsustainable Socialist programs to further their evolving Marxist/Maoist ideology (The Stick). Maoist methods (Cancel Culture) are used to erase America’s Customs, Religion, History, and Established Ideas in their strategy to destroy America’s current form of government based on the Founding Father’s Constitutional blueprint. Their ultimate goal is to install a Totalitarian atheistic government that starts out as a form of corrupt and unworkable Socialism.

America endured 8 years of Obama’s criminal political assault and his failed coup called (RussiaGate) to overthrow President Trump. RussiaGate was a conspiracy to overthrow a sitting president (Impeachment Sham) carried out by a coordinated effort of high-ranking government employees across many agencies, who knew exactly what they were doing. Americans are starting to understand how the Obama administration weaponized the DOJ, FBI, CIA and IRS to go after his political opponents, and in doing so, he trampled the Constitution and fueled the violent overthrow of cultural norms. America, in her glorious history, has never experienced anything in politics as corrupt as Obama’s RussiaGate. Nixon’s WaterGate political crimes look like an overdue library book by comparison.

Read “The Permanent Coup”, by: Lee Smith to fully understand the depth of Obama’s RussiaGate crimes.

It’s obvious to anyone with an IQ greater than a Mr. Potato Head that the Left has captured the educational system and the mainstream news media with laughable fake news (Marxist/Maoist tactics). Absolutely no conservative discussion is tolerated (thought-crimes) on campuses across the country, including in the bright red state of Oklahoma. The radical left’s capture, control, and indoctrination is proceeding across America before our own eyes. However, most Americans are unaware of what is truly happening to this great country. Americans have become frogs trapped in the “Boiling Frog Fable”, unaware of how serious our great country is being threatened.

Read “The Permanent Coup”, by: Lee Smith to fully understand the scope and depth of Obama’s RussiaGate crimes, and how they continue to this day.

Trump is the only Republican President to ever really push back on this and try to recapture education. Why? It really is very late in the game with whole generations who have had their minds ruined reading trash like Zinn’s “A People’s History of the United States”. That got them ready for “Hamilton”. You seem a man confused.

The Democratic Party could give a shit about Blacks and the radical left.

They simulate deference to them the same way the Republicans do to the Christians.

“Woke” means awareness of the scam of both parties – parties who both defer to the Megamachine of
    the Military Industrial complex.

“Anything goes and only $ matters” – in case you haven’t noticed.

I’m sorry your naive delusion of being a “lifelong Democrat” was betrayed at about age 60.

I’m sorry that you have been “blackballed” from the academic world because you seem to not get
that “social justice” is in the Zeitgeist these days and you don’t demonstrate any sensitivity in this area
    except toward Israel.

Your hope that when things break down that will all be forgotten about and “real men”
will be back in the driver’s seat is evidence of your “inferiority complex” and the reaction that Alfred Adler called
    the “Masculine protest”.

All of this social justice demand that is in the air is what Freud called “the return of the repressed”.
A little psychological understanding on your part is long overdue as I’m sure the women in your life could
    affirm.
It might also improve the wooden nature of character development in your attempted fiction.

I found your nonfiction about cultural breakdown and your critique of suburbia valuable and the writing there is
    sharp and entertaining.
Your political analysis however is confused.
Sadly your audience these days moves ever toward the world you used to call the cult of cornpone nazis.

I guess that’s what you deserve.

P.S. I’m sure you won’t post my comment ( it’s so important to have a devoted, unquestioning following).

So if you have read this know that I did respect your work up until your “issues” became so evident that the whole thing became the clusterfuck that it has.

As another column here from not too long ago noted (quoting Eckart Tolle): there is now *too much yin* in the world.

I remember what it was like growing up, the society-wide progressive buzz about women. It turned out they were not only beautiful, not only capable of having babies, but also smart, smart, smart! Kinder and more generous too! Imaginative, nonconformist! Brilliant, perfect creatures all around! Here was the vast untapped reservoir of genius and wisdom that society was desperately lacking, the great *missing perspective which had been cruelly suppressed and ignored for pretty much all of history.

We had only to listen to them, and encourage them, and give them power—and of course kick aside men, those dusty, fuming, ignorant, violent, hate-filled Homer-Simpsonish creatures—and Womanly Wisdom would usher in a great New Era. In woman was the salvation of the world.

There would be all sorts of scientific advances as long-suppressed womanly technical genius percolated into the scientific and technological fields; government would become more efficient, more honest, and more compassionate as feminine gentleness and empathy took the reins. Peace would reign, of course, since women are *never* petty or vindictive as men can be.

What did we get instead? Chaos–disrupted or nonexistent families, a younger generation essentially rendered psychotic by lack of stable adult upbringing, an all-pervasive ethic of complaint and self-pity, and an epidemic of shrieking childless harridans mobbing over the landscape, demanding infinite contrition for often-hallucinated affronts (Justice Kavanaugh comes to mind, but there are probably millions of fabricated complaints like this).

Having carried on the Great Experiment of feminism at full-tilt for a solid 60+ years now, Woman has turned out, when “liberated”, to be every bit as flawed and foolish a creature as Man ever was—and perhaps a heck of a lot crazier and more manipulable, at least when deprived of her natural sources of support and strength, which tend to involve *family* and *home*.

Maybe thousands of years of cross-cultural consensus were not so totally wrong about the weak-points of feminine nature? Maybe the Ancients were not so completely stupid and wrong about *everything* as Modernity had us to think? Well, who could have imagined–?

Men do bachelorhood much better than women do spinsterhood. More: men are willing to marry down whereas women are not. They ever seek to advance by means of the other while Men go it on their own power. Which sex is greater? It is quite clear.

Since they are unable and unwilling to compromise on this, many must abide alone and go crazy. And many who could marry, can’t stop looking for the absolute best, passing up many men would otherwise be suitable (at her economic level or higher). The poor weaker vessel, a prey to her instincts, then hits the Wall and no one is interested. She never saw it coming even though it happens to everyone. A real feminine culture would guide woman and not let her ruin herself in this way.

Many Men who would have made good workers and husbands were ruined by the offshoring of our industrial base AND the mass importation of foreign workers, first blue collar and then white. Add to the acceleration of automation and the subsequent loss of jobs. Thus do the Globalists sterilize the West and mix us with the favored new peoples. The resulting brown mass man will be easier to control and shape into the coming 500 million workers and drones of the Global Hive.

It’s not true that men marry down. They marry for attractiveness and women marry for resources. This is the way of nature. How often does a good looking man with a good job marry an ugly or fat woman? (There are a few men who like heavy women.)
Also, women marry or shack up with useless men all the time. It is a sign of their poor judgment or dysfunctionality.

        • elysianfield September 26, 2020 at 11:14 am #

          Sophia,
Thank you for that comment. I wish I was aware of your basic truths when I was 18….

“The way of nature”…how many men truly understand? At what age did YOU recognize this? How many women can actually recognize their motivation?

          • sophia September 26, 2020 at 3:13 pm #

I may have recognized it unconsciously but it is only in recent years that I have really put things together. Wisdom is not of the young. Thus we need traditional societies, wherein the young respect their elders and their traditions. I also have learned a whole lot about gender and such because I watch a huge number of nature flicks. Humans are not animals, but it’s mostly all there.

          • elysianfield September 27, 2020 at 11:01 am #

            “Humans are not animals…”

            Sophia,
On this we can agree to disagree.

And I ain’t using the term in a technical sense. I would suggest that Humans are animals…just advanced ones.

          • elysianfield September 27, 2020 at 11:20 am #

            Sophia,
It did occur to me that several years ago, this absolute pearl of wisdom was first offered by Janos…who has been since been turned into a weasel or marmot by our wizard/host.

“A woman’s wealth is her beauty.
            A mans beauty his wealth”

          • sophia September 27, 2020 at 5:43 pm #

            Elysian,

I don’t mean to argue the finer points of the ways in which humans are animals. I did say that I watch nature flicks and from them have gleaned, for example, that there really are two genders and that their lives differ in profound ways. But human beings are very complex and we don’t always toe the line nature dictates very well. We have a much wider spectrum of behaviors, can choose them consciously and decide to fill in for the other gender when circumstances dictate in ways that other animals can’t.

Feminism, or financialism? Women were shoved out into the workforce to keep “economic growth” moving upward. I’m a woman who decided to forgo having children when my hubby to be said that I was going to work, whether we had children, or not. I couldn’t see myself working a 9 hr. day at the office, then an hour a day commute, dropping the kid off at daycare before the crack of dawn, picking the kid up, rushing home to prepare a meal, dishes, laundry, cleaning…. That is no life. Women in the workforce meant more cars, more clothes, eating out, services, ect.. Good for the infinite growth economy, bad for humans. If I knew then what I know now, I would have done something different with my life.

One is the handmaiden of the other, isn’t it? “Liberation” of the modern kind seems to exist solely to create a larger pool of ever-cheaper labor. It must be remembered, there is no free lunch, if the bonds of obligation are released upon one, they are released upon both. The rules that governed relations of all sorts in prior times are now loosed, and so our elite feel no obligation to us as they abuse, diminish, and replace us.

The ‘liberation’ offered by a merchant lord is for his benefit much more than your own.

Correct rainmaker. Men and women have their correct roles. Much of those roles are dictated by biology (just he way it is). Men and women co-existing together, being a team to optimize survival, is the ideal situation.

What narrative women were sold in the sixties and seventies were “we could have it all” (remember the ads of supermodels frying bacon with the jingle “we can bring home the bacon and fry it up in the pan”?) and “kids are resilient! They’ll bounce back from that divorce and learn how to be independent!” Well, turns out to be a lie. Children are hard to raise by a working, single Mom and it’s hard to be a child raised by a single, working Mom. Not impossible, but anyone who disagreed and pointed out the downside was seen as a traitor to the feminist cause.

No agent of order can bring order beyond the laws of Physics.

Humans need an understanding of Energy, and only then attempt an order.

In 2020, our civilisation has put us all in an all open witch-hunting for order.

It can find it sitting under its nose – Energy resources, or lack of them.

Order is probably not something that can be expected until some time after the election, no matter who wins, loses, concedes gracefully, does not concede, etc.
“Long emergency” is the longer-standing and still more plausible forecast.

There is nonetheless a need for order, and maybe once there is a reliable and sufficiently distributed Covid vaccine…
and then maybe a few lessons finally learned, and perhaps a turning of “attention” to challenges such as the “problems of financial crisis and economic collapse.”

“… Mr. Trump actually represents the thing they hate most: Daddy!”
    .
Daddy is OK if he’s a Daddy in the personage of a Ward Cleaver… sensible, measured, fair. But some Daddys are more in the nature of an Archie Bunker… loud, parochial, stubborn, selfish…

“The idea is to swamp the country with harvested mail-in ballots in order to confound a resolution of the vote and sow chaos in the electoral college…”
    .
The entire idea of voting is outdated and unnecessary. USA is the nation of The Golden Rule (you know, that OTHER one). As such, just throw all political offices open for bid and let the fake mega-dollars begin to fly. We can sit glued to the television late into the evening on election night as some Ed-McMahon-stand-in asks for a drumroll and the Jerry-Lewis-Telethon-style numbers are revealed every few minutes for each candidate and political office. All we need then are the C-list Vegas comics past their expiration date to come out in between the dollar tallies and keep us amused with their stale humor punctuated with restrained audience guffaws. Any current members of Congress today will fit well as the Comics.
    .
“…the President is going to nominate a sane and reasonable Mommy to the Supreme Court, and Uncle Cocaine Mitch is going to see that she is confirmed…”
    .
And then the D-Party will get a forlorn look on its face and complain to the R-Party in Smothers Brothers style that, “Mother Always Liked You Best”!
    .
    P. S. Sometimes 1960s references just fit These Times like a glove.

We on the left don’t have to label proto-Fascist President Trump as a tyrant because everyone already knows he is a tyrant. And we on the left will always remember how to water the tree of Liberty with the blood of patriots and tyrants in order to yield the fruit of our collective efforts this Thanksgiving.

Additionally, we on the left press on undaunted in the face of Jim’s infantilization, and feminization of our political pursuits lest we fall prey to his negativity and opposition critique of our geopolitical worth.

When proto-Fascist President Trump is finally slaughtered by POTUS in waiting Biden and the Democratic Party we will see who is wailing in tears whining like a teenage girl and peeing their pants in anticipation of real opposition criticism levied appropriately exactly where it belongs.

I do have fun reading this stuff though. Jim is a good sport even though his guy is going to lose come November.

It’s a shadow campaign that began years ago, BRH. Biden is the frontrunner that makes carefully controlled statements in contradistinction to Trump’s rambling free association blitzed onto every current happenstance of viral news. Trump is the off-the-wall unhinged twitterverse partisan zealot whereas Biden’s messaging is controlled and widely distributed professional Communications experts in play against Trump’s free association technique via the twittersphere. Biden looks stellar by the day as his Comms experts are trouncing Trump and his shoot-from-the-hip confidence game.

Biden is the solid Detroit factory Chevy big block pitted against Trump the Russian 4 cylinder Lada that can’t start, or finish a race without cheating.

Regarding your most likely justified but still outrageous expenditure of ammo (unless it was a free ammo-courtesy of U.S.Army Sniper School)-there are many ways to skin a Ghetto Cat.

  43. Kim September 25, 2020 at 7:55 pm #

Throughout human history the primary method by which women have obtained a larger portion of the resource pie has been sexual-political, specifically by attaching themselves to the highest status man and/or male achiever/producer that their beauty/ferrtility/femininity allows them to aspire to.

The secondary method has been politcal, which essentially means complaining and making pests of themselves or by riding the slipstream of cultural phenomena such as chivalry or feminism/victimism which allow them to acquire resources which they would not be able to acquire through their own efforts (women don’t invent steam engines) or at a lower cost to themselves.

Unfortunately, like any evolved set of animal behaviors, these female strategies are prone to kick in in response to stimuli which rational consideration might tell us are inappropriate and even counterproductive. And those who understand women – like pimps, the CIA, the Tavistock Institute and what used to be called Madison Avenue – can also cunningly exploit these and other female personaility factors for very broad socio-political purposes.

In this sense, women are like the cat, evolved to be alive to every scurrying movement, they will hunt any whisp of dust that a draught might blow across the floor. The dust angel is not a mouse, but the reaction of the cat is hard-wired. The cat is hard-wired to respond not just to mice but to abstractions which suggest mice and other prey, such as quick movement across the floor. The specific features of the stimulus are abstract. As a result, cat hunting behavior – for example – can be provoked by unrealistic, apparently resource-wasting stimuli. To the watching human, the cat behavior is amusing but ultimately silly.

This way that cats react to seemingly trivial stimuli is also the way of female behavior. It is out of proportion to reality. And it is stimulated internally, out of deep evolved drives, not out of any objectve consideration of the real world.

So of course this behavior may, to men, often seem to be inappropriate, irrelevant, exaggerated, irrational, eccentric, and
    – especially – ultimately counterproductive or even destructive. And, objectively speaking, female behavior often is all of those things.

Thus we have phenomena such as women with signs encouraging into their home countries illegal immigrants from rape-and-domestic-abuse-friendly countries like Afghan and Iraq and Pakistan thereby undermining the female-friendly cultures of their own homelands that their own men have made for them. It seems illogical to men, but to women it is a reflex: “I wil defy and complain, therefore I will get more.” This the “reasoning”, such as it is.

This is why – as is often remarked – leftist politics is so full of fat and ugy women. Once marrying up is off the table, all that is left is to be a scold.

    • shox September 25, 2020 at 11:37 pm #

Hmm. A very interesting perspective. And it’s consistent with the leftist plot to destroy the male sex. You are right about the West importing immigrants from countries which relegate women to second-class citizens, thus undermining its own climate of respect towards women. Why would the left, particularly the feminists which throng its ranks, do something so self-defeating, if not suicidal? Because they hate their enemy (Western society, the male sex, the Christian tradition, capitalism etc) a lot more intensely than they love their principles. Their hatred so blinds them that they have lost all sense of proportion and are incapable of assessing what the REAL danger is.

Yuri Bezmenov warned about KGB subversion of American culture in his 1984 interview with G. Edward Griffin: “What ideological subversion means: To change the perception of reality of every American to such an extent that despite an abundance of information, people are unable to come to sensible conclusions about reality in the interest of defending themselves, their families and their community.” He warned that the ultimate objective of ideological subversion is to get people to see their real enemy as their friend, and their true friend as their enemy, to invert reality and see bad as good and good as bad. I would say that the KGB has succeeded in doing this to much of America.

Not sure if you were implying that female instincts are what give leftism its character, but I think leftism is its own force rather than being derived from female instincts. Have you read Ted Kaczynski’s “Industrial Society and its Future” – the section on modern leftism? Absolutely essential reading if one wants to understand the psychology of this cult.

      • Kim September 26, 2020 at 5:54 am #

Yep. Ted was very insightful. Unfortunately, he hurt people who were blameless. And, like a rocket, the path of technology cannot be stopped. It must exhaust itself.

      @Kim

      > not out of any object[i]ve consideration of the real world

…was the summary of all human behavior.

So, how does anything make sense?

That, “not out of any objective consideration of the real world” perfectly explains the innate human condition of being an emotion driven creature rather than, for example, an intellectually driven creature, everything makes sense.

” When the federal Income tax was first introduced it was temporary
and was never to exceed 3% of a person’s income.

1913 was the beginning of the end. ”

    Malthus

    Grr , the taxation wasn’t / isn’t / will not be the point .

I don’t object to the tax , I object to the method.

So many violations or potential violations of privacy are baked into an income tax that the structure for totalitarianism is already there , in place.

If 1913 was the beginning of the end it was only because the CULTURE , not the law , balked at going so far.

Otherwise , tyranny arrived in 1913 , or presumably before that , because the idea didn’t just magically appear out of thin air in an instant . Ground work was prepared.

    Same thing with abortion .

The subject drives me up the fucking wall because there is an issue likewise baked into Roe v. Wade that should concern you REGARDLESS of your opinion on the subject of abortion itself.

That is , that centralization and concentration of power tends to make things that were small controversies , or not even controversies at all , into knock – down – drag – out , life – and – death , let’s – go – to – war – controversies.

Prior to Roe V. Wade abortion was scarcely a blip on the radar .

Hard to believe I know , given current circumstances , and 1973 was only 40 + years ago .

But George Orwell was right ; collective memory royally sucks.

It was hardly a blip on the radar because prior to Roe v. Wade the states , or even municipalities , did their own thing .

    — Meaning your vote might make a meaningful difference , or barring that , you could vote with your feet and move to a locality where folks vote more to your liking.

I have heard that some places actually had laws that were LESS restrictive than Roe v. Wade , but I haven’t researched it , so that’s hearsay.

    So let’s try a hypothetical ?

Let us say that a miracle happened in Washington and the Nabobs who actually run this country got the idea that subsidiarity was actually cool , and so returned the power regarding the abortion question to the states .

Is it stretching credibility too far to think that subsequently already left – leaning Oregon might in turn turn over the question to Portland , and the city of Portland might then have abortion on demand ?

If you are crazy about that idea , then you can move to Portland. ( Granted , easier said than done. But then , what’s your fucking choice now under this regime ? )

And if you fucking hate the idea — unless you live in Portland — why would you give a fuck in Iowa ?

( Except , maybe that you have been long conditioned ( the not so polite term is brainwashed ) to accept as normal the getting your panties in a twist over internal problems in fucking Bangladesh. )

You can always write to the Internal Revenue Service and complain to the nice IRS tax man, Kesa. I was raised by the tax man as my civil servant Chartered Accountant father was Senior Rulings National Revenue CANADA in the Oil, Mines, and Resource taxation department for decades. The tax man has a sense of humour too. I don’t know about the USA IRS, but it stands to reason that they field questions as taxpayers get annoyed year in and year out over time.

Try writing your usual rhetorical notes and see what happens?

You never know what will happen. Heck, the IRS may like your ideas and the way you express them.

My CA father started out on Bay Street working for Rio Algom Mines head office Toronto. The Government of CANADA poached him from Bay Street in 1971 so that the Trudeau Government could shore up their tax department that was taxing the mining companies on Bay Street.

The Government of CANADA decided it was easier to employ my father as opposed to fighting him on Bay Street. Dear old dad took the extra pay to switch employers because government paid better than private industry. My CA father liked money and worked all his life for every penny he ever earned.

I, on the other hand, am not a successful person by comparison whatsoever. Dear old dad did teach me Finance and how to save a buck rather than spend.

Yes he was miserly old Scrooge, and I was Bob Cratchit wizard of the accounts advised not to bear Tiny Tims lest the cost alone bankrupted me.

“It’s just the kind of election strategy that a gang of middle-school girls would dream up. Because they are hysterical fourteen-year-olds with undeveloped brains, it would never occur to them that Daddy might have a notion what they are up to, and a counter-plan to frustrate their scheme. They are in such a fugue of rage that they can’t think one play ahead on the gameboard. Well, as the wily Bonaparte once remarked, “never interrupt the enemy while he is making a mistake.” JHK

Well, I guess the ‘rope a dope’ worked for Ali. But what was Big Daddy thinking when he gave a big Covid Club to the Dems? Otherwise under armed and overmatched, Biden will use it to bludgeon Trump in the debates. The severity of the beating will be directly proportional to the time spent on the topic. Enter the Presidential Debate Commission and its supposed neutrality.

As I said before, without the vesture of the virus, Biden wouldn’t be much more than a verminous vizcacha. Many are saying that Biden will garner more votes than Hillary. Again, as I said before, Trump is on thin ice, and the hordes will do their best to crack it and send him to the bottom. He must again win the Electoral College.

As for the so called Swamp, Francis Marion is long gone, and so its fetid waters will continue to ferment and fragment this fragile nation until the unprecedented occurs. Considering Biden’s condition, we could soon have Kamala Harris as president. Just think of it, being led by a transgendered Obama. She sure worked Willie’s willie, didn’t she?

Maybe the ‘rope a dope’ works, maybe it doesn’t. Is that Trump’s counterplan? He better have more. This battered warrior is still at it, still swinging. Stop to think about it, and you realize that it’s truly amazing after all they’ve thrown at him. But Kamala could still be it.
Now there’s a feisty flapper, ready to flagellate whites with her fallopian tubes and to give ‘old America’ the middle finger.

It’s that time in the race in which I’ll be going to the real clear politics site almost daily to see the tracking polls. Just now this article link entitled “Biden campaign stalls with 40 days left” caught my eye, and after reading it I have to say, “Wow!” Methinks that old Hillaryesque entitled attitude is working again on the Dem side. As in, “Oh we got this in the bag!” Yeah….uh huh.

Of course Joe BiteMe is obviously too old and low energy. But what is the young 55 year old Kamala Lama Ding Dong’s excuse?

“Both Biden and his running mate, California Sen. Kamala Harris, have also faced criticism for their relative reluctance to appear before the press and take questions.

Harris’s own lack of appearances before news media have drawn criticism not just from conservative circles but from mainstream journalists. Both CBS correspondent Ed O’Keefe and NBC campaign reporter Deepa Shivaram have publicly lambasted Harris’s habitual press avoidance, with O’Keefe noting that Harris’s “reluctance to answer questions on a regular basis” contrasts with her willingness, earlier in her career, to engage with reporters.”

Looking at the 2019-20 Texas statewide school student demographic breakdown in the Community Impact Newspaper today I have to say that I am surprised. It is apparent that the white population in Texas, while still the majority, is quite old. Older than I even thought. In other words, it won’t be the majority for much longer:

    Black 12.6%
    American Indian .4%
    Asian 4.7%
    Hispanic 52.6%
    Multi Races 2.4%
    White 27.4%

Over-estimation is a vice of Heritage Americans, or indeed our Race in general. And the corollary is underestimating problems and foes. The Russians mocking the Japanese as little monkeys. The Teutonic Knights laughing at the funny little Mongolian men with their big hats and tiny horses – that is before they died under their arrows.

Texas is gone. Period. Demography is destiny. America is gone as well unless we separate. White children are now out numbered by minority children.

Why are we even having this conversation? It is surreal that we are even seriously discussing whether or not the sitting president will leave office if he loses the election.

Of course he will have to leave office, like every loser who came before him. The very fact this topic is now even up for discussion shows how far this Republic has sadly fallen.

An international poll out today shows that virtually every country around the world — including the U.K., Japan, Australia, and Germany — has the lowest opinion of the United States they’d ever had since the surveys began. They “feel sorry for us” as our republic slowly crumbles before their — and our — eyes.

It’s a pretty good religion if you’re looking for some comfort in these tough times. A good Catholic is one who can laugh at him/herself. I’d like to see Donald Trump have a good roll at himself. The CDC conducted some actual science around corona transmissibility and mortality. They have long been on record as saying the actual spread is at least 10x the reported number of “cases,” or positive tests. Which means the mortality rate, just simple math, would be 10x lower than currently reported. Which we know is still wildly inflated by counting all deaths “with” corona as deaths “from” corona. Only 6000 people have died from corona alone. Death by motorcycle but with corona goes into the corona pile. The real number of people who died from contracting corona, who would not have otherwise died from something else these past six months, is a figure much, much lower than the 200K “official” deaths… I am a non-medical non-paid reality spokesperson.

Well, now they have published the “most likely” scenario of how dangerous the corona is, by age group. If you click on the link, the first several pages of verbiage explain the methodology and many different inputs. You should read it all. Eventually if you scroll down far enough, you will see the smoking gun.

I want you to focus on the far right column of this chart, “Current Best Estimate,” and look at the second row of data, “Infection Fatality Rate” (mortality rates among people who contract the corona, by age group).

Do you see what I see? Again, this includes all the Stage 4 cancers, strokes, kidney failures and accident victims who were suspected of corona. Now allow me to convert those “official” mortality rates into survival rates, to make it easier to understand and share, and judge for yourself if everything, especially everything related to young people, should continue to be cancelled, or, NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELLED.

    0-19 years old: 99.997% survival
    20-49 years old: 99.98% survival
    50-69 years old: 99.5% survival
    70+ years old: 94.6% survival
And again, the real numbers are even 4x-5x better than these. Never mind that half the people over 70 who died were probably murdered in nursing homes.

Get the word out, folks. Time to end this.

SV: Amen, Ann. It’s not just the flu, but rather just a bad cold. Again thank you to Alba for correcting me on that. Now that she sees this new data, I’m sure she will see the light and get up on a soap box in Picadilly Square to rant against the Mask so that her children and grandchildren will get to have quality of life and not mere “existence” as slaves.

    • SoftStarLight September 26, 2020 at 3:10 am #

Even the elderly have a very low by comparison mortality rate which is interesting considering how many elderly patients were lost in nursing homes because they were essentially seeded with covid patients. Governor DeSantis in Florida canceled all remaining coronavirus restrictions I believe yesterday. I wonder how many states will follow? In other places people are getting arrested for not wearing masks outdoors, like when singing hymns in church parking lots for example. I think covid made some people go insane.

    Jon Foster, Canadian

    4) The fourth fraud of civic nationalism is that it’s born from cowardice and cannot save whites from replacement and extinction.

Wherever you find whites you find European society, wherever you find Indians you find Indian society and wherever you find Africans you find African society. This is because societies are a product of people. People with high intelligence, discipline and work ethic create peaceful societies with high standards of living. While people with low intelligence, low discipline and low work ethic create chaotic societies with low standards of living.

The implication of this relationship between people and society is that if you wish to preserve a society you must preserve the people who created it. In fact, there’s not a single example in all of human history where a racial group has been replaced or been reduced to a minority within its own society, but yet the culture and character of that society has remained unchanged. Not once, not ever. The racial replacement of a people always has, and always will, lead to the replacement of its society.

If current demographic trends continue, whites will become a racial minority within America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the British Isles and much of continental Europe long before the end of this century. Furthermore, if whites don’t bring their fertility rate back up to replacement level, they’ll be faced with the real possibility of extinction over the coming centuries. This replacement and extinction of whites will inevitably lead to the collapse of Western society, for they’re the people who created it and currently sustain it.

The only course of action that will avert this tragedy is the complete ending of non-white immigration into white countries, the gradual repatriation of non-whites back to their homelands and the restoration of white fertility back to replacement level. This, and only this, can save whites from replacement and extinction, and Western society from collapse.

However, civic nationalists, whose ranks are almost entirely white, like to say otherwise. They like to say that race doesn’t matter at all, and that Western society can be preserved independently of the people who created it. After all, according to civic nationalists, Western society is just a “collection of values”. That’s it, nothing else. This opinion is often expressed through such cringeworthy phrases as, “I don’t care if people are purple, just as long as they believe in our values”, or, “I don’t care if France becomes majority black, just as long as they believe in French values”. When expressing this sort of opinion, civic nationalists like to think all high-minded of themselves. They like to think they’re morally superior to all those “racist” ethnic nationalists. But the truth is, it’s all just a cover for their own cowardice.

You see, civic nationalists are terrified of being called racist by non-whites, globalists and the political left. In fact, so much so that they’re literally willing to go along with the extinction of their own race just to prove they aren’t racist. This pathetic act of virtue signalling is the same as drowning your own children just to prove you don’t love them more than other children. Not only are you supposed to prefer your own race, just as you’re supposed to prefer your own children, but by going along with the extinction of whites, civic nationalists will guarantee the destruction of the very thing they claim to be preserving, Western society.

This extreme fear of being called racist is also what drives civic nationalists to crave approval from non-white “conservatives”, such as Candace Owens, and Jewish “conservatives”, such as Ben Shapiro. By gaining approval from such people, civic nationalists hope to prove just how “anti-racist” and “anti-Nazi” they are.

The sad truth is that civic nationalists have this extreme fear of being called racist because deep down they’ve already surrendered to leftist morality when it comes to race. This morality holds that any attempt, whether implicit or explicit, by whites to preserve their racial existence and homelands is disgusting, evil and wrong. You see, civic nationalists might actually want to save whites, but in their hearts and minds, they must only do so within the boundaries of leftist morality. However, there can be no victory, as trying to save whites while trapped in the straitjacket of leftist morality is like trying to break out of prison while following prison rules. Just as prison rules exist for sole purpose of keeping prisoners trapped in prison, leftist morality exists for the sole purpose of destroying whites.

Civic nationalists are too cowardly to oppose leftist morality and fight for their own race, but at the same time, too proud to admit such cowardice. Therefore, they rationalise their cowardice by claiming that race doesn’t matter and that only values do. This allows them to abandon their own people in need, without any sense of shame or guilt, all the while posing as “noble defenders” of Western society. The whole ideology of civic nationalism is nothing more than a pathetic attempt at disguising cowardice as virtue. However, there’s no virtue in cowardice. Nor is there any virtue in committing racial suicide in the name of appeasement. Those who value their enemy’s opinions more than the existence of their own people have no credibility and deserve no respect.

Ultimately, whether born from cowardice or not, civic nationalism cannot save whites from replacement and extinction because, at its core, it holds that race doesn’t matter. Therefore, it holds that whites are racially disposable and that the replacement and extinction of whites is of no concern or consequence.

Ethnic nationalism, on the other hand, is born from love, not cowardice, and, at its core, holds that one’s own people, which includes one’s own race, not only has value, but is precious and must be preserved. You see, only by embracing ethnic nationalism can whites be saved from replacement and extinction.

SV: It seems that there are good Canadians after all, those being the ones who identify with their European heritage like Mr Foster.

It is interesting because as America’s demographics continue to shift to the brown people generally our society is falling into greater states of disarray. Obviously there are many factors that are contributing to the discord and disorder including so many bad past and current social, economic, and environmental choices. But the demographic factor is pretty much a forbidden topic in any mainstream setting. And yet even as Trump has been in office millions more Arabs, Africans, Hispanics, and Asians have legally immigrated here because of the civic nationalist basic worship of immigration, as long as its legal!, of course. And time and again, study after study, poll after poll shows that mostly all of these newcomers will vote ultra progressive. Which in todays world means we are massively and globally recruiting for Antifa and BLM. And of course their goal is the death of America.

The West is committing racial and cultural suicide, and wholeheartedly committed to the delusion that other races will be able to carry on the spirit and legacy which can only ever spring from European blood. For example, the spirit of conquest, the longing for freedom, the will-to-power which has manifested itself in ceaseless inventiveness in science and technology – these were fostered through long generations on the European continent among warring tribes and have a lot to do with the vigorous physical constitution and creative flair of the Europeans. It is utterly ludicrous to expect races which evolved under different circumstances to pick up where the Europeans left off. For a people’s culture to be preserved, the people itself has to be preserved in the flesh and blood.

Do you follow Jared Taylor and Stefan Molyneux? They were recently booted off of Youtube (obviously labelled as White Supremacists) and are now on Bitchute and LBRY.

      • Sredni Vashtar September 26, 2020 at 11:42 am #

Yes, what could be more fundamental than the people themselves? Ten men crossed a river and then counted to see if everyone had made it. They kept counting nine because they kept forgetting to include themselves. Christ said, Love your neighbor as Yourself. How is doing this to our Nations loving ourselves?

Plato said that if you change the music of a society (and this was done to soften us up), you change the society. How much more radical again is changing the actual ethnic population? Is it the same wall if you change all the individual stones? I’d say no.

I follow Jared Taylor and others more radical. Jared refuses the title of White Nationalist because it offends the Tribe I believe. Caring about that insures our doom.

Ayn Rand gave numerous essays on how the philosophy of altruism brings certain ruin to its practitioner. With everything that has been going on in the US, I have revisited those lectures and found much in them that has turned out to be prophesy. I have had a heavy heart for years while watching how Europe has been committing suicide by allowing hordes of diametrically different people to pour into its lands and pervert its culture. France is the sorriest tale of them all, but all European nations are on the path to self-destruction.

Yes I distinctly remember that passage in Plato’s “Republic” where he mentions how certain feminine music turns the soul into a soft pulp, unlike Dorian music which fills it with valor and predisposes it to toughness in mind and spirit. (I often feel these kinds of emotional stirrings when listening to certain military marching music or heroic anthems.) I think Plato worshiped the Spartans a little too much and didn’t give democracy enough credit. However, his appraisal of the end-stage of democracy, how it ruins the soul by filling it with to the brim with unnecessary desires, and paves the way to tyranny, has withstood the test of time and is about to become prophecy.

I strongly believe that leftism is a suicide cult. One can debate how much of it is due to KGB subversion of the US, how much due to Western Man’s excessive permissiveness and lack of vigilance in weeding out the enemies within, and how much due to the psychological maladies which living within an over-organized technological society fosters (as Ted Kaczynski described.) Whatever the case, leftists seeks to bring the curtains down on Western Civilization now that it has reached its consummation, just as Oswald Spengler predicted. Leftism represents world-weariness and the yearning for death. What did Oswald Spengler say? Western Man is a proud but tragic figure – he seeks infinity in all things: infinite space in which to live, infinite life, infinite money and power. But it is a goal which he secretly knows he will never achieve, stranded as he is on this maternal planet.

    Some excellent and amusing news.

In sixteen US states, mail in ballots must be

    1. properly filled out

    2. placed in a special “security envelope”

    3. security envelope in turn placed in mailing envelope

    4. entire package returned by a certain date by mail

If all of these procedures are not adhered to, the vote is discarded.

This is an IQ test that much of the populace cannot possibly pass.

Pennsylvania expects a minimum of 6% of such votes to be discarded.

Once again, Dems shoot themselves in the foot.

    https://www.citizenfreepress.com/breaking/democrats-sound-the-alarm-how-naked-ballots-in-pennsylvania-could-cost-joe-biden-the-election/

    • shox September 26, 2020 at 7:13 am #

@Kim I don’t think you understand the real plot. They KNOW they cannot win in a fair, honest and orderly election. How could they after their APPALLING behavior over the last few months, encouraging mobs in violent acts against ordinary Americans? So they have devised an alternate route to power which provides a higher probability of success: first delegitimize the election by bringing chaos and uncertainty to the whole process. This is the whole reason for making EVERYONE vote by mail for the first time in US history. It’s absolutely GUARANTEED that we’ll hear of thousands if not millions of misplaced votes. Then they’ll contest the results in the law-courts and draw it out for as long as possible, possibly all the way to the supreme court. Then the supreme court will rule in their favor. This may have been their calculation until the death of a liberal supreme-court judge threw a big fat spanner into their works. This may be why they are throwing such a royal tantrum now that Trump will appoint his own judge to the supreme court.

If anyone has anything to add to my appraisal of the situation, or perhaps a correction to make, please share your opinion.

      • Kim September 26, 2020 at 10:02 am #

        @ shox

Yes, chaos was the Big Plan but the exit of RBG has the Dems choking on their own vomit at the moment.

The whole thing depended on them being able to at least paralyze the Supreme Court 4-4, but it looks like that plan is now mayday, mayday.

I am no theist, but one has to look at RBG biting the dust as being at least something similar to divine intervention.

    • shox September 26, 2020 at 7:16 am #

I should also add that there is an alternate route to power if the elections cannot be settled: congress gets to elect the president. Congress is currently majority Dems. Is this what they are driving towards with all their efforts – to bypass the elections and have congress elect the president?

    • cc rider September 26, 2020 at 11:44 am #

Here’s another thing that may play out regarding mailed in ballots: Quarantine.

The public library system here is allowing materials to be checked out online and then picked up curbside. Then the checked out materials are returned at the drop boxes. The library then quarantines the materials for at least five full days so the virus can have time to die. Lol! Yes it is so pathetic it is funny.

Don’t you just know that they’ll have to quarantine the ballots for at least five days too, per CDC criteria?

Oh man, not even Oliver Stone could write this nutty shit.

So President Trump may nominate a Catholic for Supreme Court. What is the big deal? Why do people hate Catholics? Does it go back to ancient times? I was raised a Catholic. In the US it hasn’t been dangerous. Probably never will be. But I don’t think it is good that more than half of our SC justices are of one faith. Can we have one Scientologist at least? Lol….

Well focusing on America, they were afraid Kennedy would take orders from the Pope. And of course before that, that Catholics would side with Mexico – as the Saint Patrick’s Brigade during the Mexican American War. They were being mocked and abused for their faith and decided enough was enough and they went over to the other side. There is no evidence that they were ordered to attend Protestant services, but the abuse was probably intense. They hung everyone of them they caught but they didn’t get all of them. And their descendants are admired to this day.

So it wasn’t a completely daft idea. Kennedy’s insistence that his religion would play no part in his policies was probably sincere, and of course it is crazy since our ideals should inform our policies. We used to have a Christian consensus in America – maybe that’s what he meant and that would make sense. But that’s all gone. Most Catholics have betrayed America to the Mexicans – but so have most Protestants.

      • PeteAtomic September 26, 2020 at 12:34 pm #

Liberals who are in favor of birth control, abortion, and mass immigration. They gave Ted Kennedy the funeral of a Saint in one of Boston’s great cathedrals. When Pelosi goes, she’ll get the same. Are these people real Catholics? By traditional standards, no. But since the Pope is of the very same water, they’re as real as a good fake dollar bill can be. Perversity is now enthroned, the new normal. Yet it is still a fake and the Pope is not a Catholic or even a Christian.

          • cc rider September 26, 2020 at 2:07 pm #

Yeah you have a point. I give Catholicism a hard time, much of it tongue-in-cheek in reality*, but I do have respect for those who practice it fully. Or, practice it with honor and respect for the old traditions and doctrine. Someone like Pat Buchanan, the late Cardinal O’Conner, and going back a ways now, Hillaire Belloc.

And yes, this current Pope…..Wow! What a piece of work he is.

*For example, I don’t really think that true faithful Catholics are idol worshiping pagans.

One transcends one’s religion and if a woman, one must transcend one’s sex. Thus did the Mastahs call HPB, “he”, such was their esteem for her. And men on devotional paths have to transcend their masculinity – transcend meaning to go beyond but preserve.

Catholicism is real but narrow as befits men’s capacities in this Kali Yuga. All you women (except SSL) want to me to affirm or deny it, extol it or trash it. I won’t. It serves me and many others in many ways. Is it my “fault” that I have grown tall and see over the fence? You of all should know better. Yet you still want some kind of condemnation of it from me.

          • sophia September 27, 2020 at 5:46 pm #

Well, Sredni, I was not asking for a condemnation of Catholicism. I was simply surprised that you threw that in there. But you have redeemed yourself.

I wonder what they call Chinese people?

    “Say her name!”

    “Muzunga!”

“ Most people that come and live in east Africa for longer than a few weeks agree on one thing: being called a Muzungu [white person] all the time is frustrating. Being constantly referenced in conversation (to you or about you) by your skin colour rather than your actual name is a little tiring. Being the centre of attention relentlessly, because of your colour, is exhausting. When I arrived, even professional people would sometimes address me as Mzungu in conversation. Men would call out ‘Mzungu’ and laugh at me when I walked by in town. The Boda Bodas [motorbike taxis] would holler for my attention ‘Mzungu we go?’ Captivated children would follow me in the street as if I was the pied piper, yelling the classic ‘Mzungu, how are you?’, daring each other to run up and touch the strange women in their midst.
When I first moved to Uganda it made me angry, because in Australia this would be considered racism.”

One gets something similar in Indonesia, where the word is bule (boo-lay). Kids call it out. Young men think they are quite daring to call it out to you. Girls whisper it to each other and look sidelong when they see you. They don’t see it as offensive, but one would prefer otherwise.

On the other hand, one is often also called Mas, or Om, which are very respectful terms, and children and teens will salaam by bowing and putting the back of your hand to their forehead.

      Swings and roundabouts.

I was reading the other day a snippet from a book about the Chinese in Africa. The author had interviewed a Chinese bloke who had moved to Mozambique to basically get away from Chinese people in China who he claimed were too aggressive and always trying to poach his business. He insisted that the Chinese are a huge pain-in-the-ass. He seemed to have a bit of a Chinese peasant mentality. He didn’t know anything about Africa before moving there, and he chose Mozambique because there were no Chinese people living in Mozambique. He vilified the local Africans calling them “Motherfuckers” in English to their faces. He said that he was worried that the local Africans will eventually kick the Chinese out of Mozambique, so his big plan was to get his son to marry a local African woman to have a bunch of mixed race African kids to keep the property in the family. I guess that it makes sense? Black Lives Matter!

It’ll be interesting to see how cogent Biden will be on stage. I think he did only one campaign appearance, ironically here in Duluth, about a week ago– where Trump supporters outnumbered the people there Biden.

I think Biden has been resting up for the debate. Forget about his cognition for a moment. Physically, Biden has zero stamina left. If he runs the Presidency like he has run his campaign, then he literally will keep an empty office. He won’t have the physical energy to be there. 1) Cato the Elder, speech in the Roman Senate in 195 BC
Woman is a violent and uncontrolled animal… If you allow them to achieve complete equality with men, do you think they will be easier to live with? Not at all. Once they have achieved equality, they will be your masters.

    (2) Cato the Elder, On Agriculture (c. 170 BC)
It is the cabbage which surpasses all other vegetables for medical value. It may be eaten either cooked or raw; if you eat it raw, dip it into vinegar. It promotes digestion and is an excellent laxative. If you wish to drink a lot at a banquet and enjoy your dinner, eat as much raw cabbage as you wish before dinner… Cabbage can be used as a poultice on all kinds of wounds and swellings; it will cleanse all sores and heal without pain; it will soften and open boils… Headache and eye ache it heals alike… Also if you feel sick, if the spleen is swollen, if the heart is painful, or the liver – in a word, it will cure all internal organs… And still further, if you save the urine of a person who eats a lot of cabbage, heat it, and bathe the patient in it… Also, if babies are bathed in this urine they will never be weakly.

SV: Tom, you need more cabbage. You got shit for brains right now.

The higher octave is a rejection of all thoughts and things and the attainment of the City of Peace, the Unborn, the Summum Bonum, the Rose without Thorns, the Kingdom, Nirvana.

If memory serves, the other two lower types are ignorance and craving, both with their higher octaves as well.

        Marlin,

I was wondering if you know where to get ammo. I’m running low on 9mm and 38:special (for the range). I went to my own store and before I even entered, they had a poster board outside saying they’re out of ammo. Then I went online to my usual ammo sources, and everyone, and I mean everyone was out of ammo. I couldn’t find anything. I even looked online at gun shops all the way to lower Maine – nothing.
I knew ammo supply was low nationally, but I didn’t realize how bad it was. One of the online ammo companies also had a forum and one of the posters there was bragging how they have accumulated 100,000 rounds! if someone was attacking me, I doubt I’d be able to get off 100,000 shots. Lol.

For those wishing to stock up on various types of supplies, food and water, you better get cracking. I also tried to get quart bottles of 91% isopropyl alcohol. They usually go for a couple of dollars each. No stores in my area had any, and when I went to Amazon online, only a couple of places had them, but at $5 per bottle; then shipping was over $10! I believe this is the beginning of the breakdown of supply
        lines.

St. Elmo, as you are in Mass., please let me know if you’re aware of any cartridge supply sources. Thanks.

You can only shoot what you can carry.

It has gotten worse as Blm and antifa stood up.

Don’t need more then 500 rounds a gun and yes I had to stop shooting weekly when the supplies started drying up.
          Have you tried reloading?

          • beantownbill. September 26, 2020 at 3:26 pm #

Thanks, but I know I’d lose some fingers if I tried to reload; I’m too clumsy; I have no confidence that I could measure gunpowder correctly. I’m down to 100 rounds per caliber. I was neglectful. I’m not concerned about walking down the street. I could carry a few extra mags and speed loaders. I’m concerned about ammo for home invasions by a mob. I guess my shooting ability won’t suffer too badly if I can’t practice for a while.

        • neurodoc September 26, 2020 at 3:44 pm #

The LEAA, research arm of the ‘fbi’ (I no longer use caps for them). has research that shows that the average gun fight involves only 2-3 shots. They’re obviously not talking about a gang of lunatics being defended against which could probably end, with a practiced shooter, with one 30 round mag and definitely a 100 round CMag. The 100K round stuff is for those who assume a long long drawn out breakdown, civil war 2, or world made by hand.

        • BackRowHeckler September 26, 2020 at 5:07 pm #

I’ve run into the same problem here, Bill, everybody is fresh out of ammo. .30-30 rounds used to be as common as Lincoln pennies; last week Cabelas in E Hartford had absolutely not one box. As far as reloading goes, I was never one to trust my own judgement; I would probably blow up the goddam house.
It’s the primers that I’m squirrelly about.

“History-the-trickster has paradoxically anointed the Great Disrupter, Mr. Trump, as the agent of order while the Democrats seek to bring chaos into every quarter of American life, a party of shrieking “Karens” and men acting like women.”

You certainly have a way with words. Reading this, I would think that Trump will overthrow the Democratic Party’s political control of the country. Except History appointed the Great Disruptor four years ago along with control of the other two branches of government. He has done an excellent job disrupting the country. I would callout “fucking it up,” but mileage varies. Nice work on trying to re-appropriate the “Ken” and “Karen” labels that Progressives and others on the left use, though I personally like the right’s use of “snowflakes.”

And your counter to the anti-democratic message that the President is spreading that has some in the media “mewling like little girls” and should apparently be discounted or held harmless? Um, roll out Hilary Clinton and present her comments as the sign of the perfidy on the left. Let us see: One is currently a private citizen and the other is the President of the United States, “clothed in immense power.”

    OK, then.

It isn’t about political parties, it’s about the beginnings of civilizational breakdown as a result of all kinds of overshoot. You better get prepared, even in your country, because no one will be immune anywhere. Dems or Republicans, no political party can cure our ills; only a supremely aware, bold and assertive group could get people to face up to reality.

It seems like Australia is a test case for what the globalists want to achieve here in America. All of the major corporations are embracing the whole militarized enforcement of mask wearing and the media backs them up by messaging that mask wearing equals compassion and exemplary social responsibility. And masks are also really cool because rioters wear masks and rioters are awesome because their looting and burning is social justice, reparations, and the rejection of whiteness.

I don’t understand that claim, beantownbill. The people who govern the nation will have a lot to say about whether or not we collapse or instead manage an orderly decline. And that matters. At the moment, Mr. Kunstler wants to ignore the inconvenient fact that the Republicans are in charge and wants to blame the people who are currently out of power. And that is just a bit too Orwellian for me.

And out of curiosity, when you say: “supremely aware, bold and assertive group could get people to face up to reality,” of whom do you speak? Do you have candidate(s) in mind? If so, who and why? Or is it a group that has yet to form?

        • beantownbill. September 26, 2020 at 7:45 pm #

          @abc:

Yet to form. I say that because of the natural resistance of people to massive change. That would require an exceptionally effective group of people to overcome such a happenstance. And I don’t mean a dictatorship either. I don’t know who actually, just that the existing political structure will not be able to get the job done, IMO.

The issue isn’t political, as I keep stating. The issue is physical. No Democratic or Republican Party can change the physics. World leaders must come to realize that humanity needs to prepare for the results of overshoot.

I also believe there are some possible solutions, such as solar power satellites that utilize large-scale solar collectors. Our current technology is sufficient to develop such a program, but the keyword here is ‘development’: It would require a recognition of our peril.

I just use solar power satellites as an example, not because I’m some sort of solar freak, or whether this is even a viable solution, but because I’d like to see decision makers focus on possible real solutions, not idiotic or useless efforts that use up our resources, like manned trips to Mars or social justice rioting.

I hope I’m wrong and you’re correct. But until I know things are working out ok using your solution set, I feel bad knowing it will be too late for you.

            Hi beantownbill,
Thank you for your thoughtful reply. As I said to Kim below, a lot of this is dependent on population dynamics and the demographic shift. People respond to incentives. I believe that a competent and enlightened government can actually work with providing these incentives. Our current government can’t or won’t. That does not mean that such is not possible with the resources we have. I agree though, there is room for the pessimism you shared. I wish I could say otherwise, but I think your outcome could very well happen. It is not written in stone though.

I still wonder what ” That would require an exceptionally effective group of people to overcome such a happenstance.” I understand that you may feel a bit unwilling to share your thoughts–it is easy to get ridicule here. I will say that I thought primarily of the John Galt approach from Rand’ novel Atlas Shrugged; I state upfront that it did not make a whole lot of sense in my mind–for a number of reasons, first of which … Oh, leave that for another discussion if it interests you. Otherwise, that is what comes to my mind when I hear your words. If it is, please know I have read the book (including the three hour radio speech–who could do that today and expect it to be listened to from start to finish?), if you still want to chat! Otherwise, there is always Heinlein’s Stranger in a Strange Land! 🙂 Cheers.

          @ abdef

The people who govern the nation will have a lot to say about whether or not we collapse or instead manage an orderly decline.

You live in a fantasy world. An orderly decline to what?

The only possible future outcomes involve massive population reductions. How could the process of achieving those reductions be orderly? Would you make two lines, one marked “those who will live” and the other marked “those who will die” and politely ask people to queue?

I suppose that would look orderly to those who will live.

You appear to have no idea at all of either the scope of the nature of the problem.

          • beantownbill. September 26, 2020 at 9:31 pm #

Unfortunately you’re correct. I’ll give a 95% probability of us being right. I saved us 5% so we have some hope of getting out of this mess. But 19 to1 odds against us ain’t too good.

Your two-line scenario is interesting. When I get too tired to do something productive but don’t want to go to bed, I turn on prime video and watch movies. Prime gives a little description blurb of each movie on their list. One of them is about 20 young people or students living in a post-apocalyptic world. There’s only enough resources to keep 10 of them alive. The movie is about how they choose the half who will die. I haven’t seen the movie, but maybe I will now. I’ll let you know how it goes.

          • abcdef September 27, 2020 at 6:14 pm #

            Hi Kim,
Mighty sure of your self aren’t you!
An example of an orderly decline… how about the UK in the early to mid 20th Century.
Alternatives to “massive population reductions”? I think you are right–we will need to curtail population, but what does it say that the only way you can envisage this is by catastrophe. It is possible that will be the main way, in really bad scenarios, but it is not the only way, right? That is where enlightened and competent leadership is required and which is in short supply with our Republican government right now. For example, using features of the demographic shift US population gets cut by 25% in a generation. How? Instead of having almost 2 kids (on average) having 1 kid starts having a major impact. We use resources here at a far more intensive rate than other less industrialised countries, so the impact will be greater. And the good news? We don’t have to do much … fertility rates are falling. Give incentives NOT to have children and then CAREFULLY manage the resulting drop in Aggregate Demand that comes from a shrinking population. That is where a competent and and enlightened government comes in.

Of course, we could still have your doomsday scenario, Kim. But it is not inevitable. And I think it is worth working towards avoiding it. What say you?

Charlie Kirk wants to bring in 50 million immigrants in 10 years
The list just goes on and on and on.

America has changed drastically under Donald Trump – everything has gotten much worse. That is in no way Trump’s fault. Yes, he could have done a better job, but it’s not like he didn’t want to do a better job. The reason he failed was that the rest of the elected Republican politicians did not support him and his agenda, because they are all shills.

We should have been pushing to remove these people through the primary system, but we didn’t.

    Why didn’t we?

Because the direction of the right-wing is driven by the right-wing media, and the right-wing media does nothing but whine about every little thing Democrats are doing to an audience that already hates Democrats.

Virtually every single Republican Congressperson is on the payroll of Google and the rest of Silicon Valley.

Tucker Carlson confronted Ohio’s Jim Jordan about taking money from Google, and he said he didn’t know why Google gave him money.

Tucker explained to him that companies give politicians money because they want them to do things for them, and Jordan appeared scandalized by the revelation.

The US Congress is the bottleneck on everything that is happening. The Congress is the reason that Trump can only have horrible scumbags like Barr, Pompeo and Wolf in his cabinet. We had total Republican control of Congress from 2016 to 2018, and these people did literally nothing. They could have built a wall, they could have totally banned immigration, they could have forced Big Tech to abide by the First Amendment, and they did literally nothing.

They did tax cuts. But hey – if immigrants weren’t taking our jobs, we wouldn’t need tax cuts. We could pay high taxes on much higher wages and still have a lot more money.

If Trump somehow manages to stay in office after this election, then we must get people mobilized and use the primary system in 2022 to remove people like Jim Jordan from office and replace him with someone who will not take money from Google.

If Fox News goes full Democrat, which they seem to be in the process of doing, there will be an opening for a mainstream conservative news outlet that talks about something other than what the DEMON-RATS are doing.

SV: Thank you Andrew. Or as Brian Kilmeade called Andrew Jackson, Andy. Old Jim Jordan? That cur don’t hunt. We need to get us some real huntin’ dogs: redbone hounds for scent, dogs that hunt by sight like Afghan Hounds, and the kill dogs that finish the job.

Why do you say that you unfortunately cannot disagree. It makes it seem like you meant to say that you would prefer to disagree but because of the merit of the argument you find yourself in a place where you have no choice but to agree. It reminds me of the way many Republicans are actually but I am not saying you meant it to sound that way. Or maybe you meant something else. But most Republicans base everything in their world and measure everything by and only on what the Democrats are saying and doing. So that basically Democrats run everything in the universe and Republicans simply react and usually in one way or the other just go along or take Democrat ideas and just repackage them. Both parties stand in the way of Trump to the extent that he is trying to revive America. And should he win or even if he doesn’t and society remains civilized enough for party politics and voting to continue then the existing crop of Republican do nothings, which us most of em, have to be purged entirely for any real change to be possible.

With all the interesting discussion here about the obvious decline of the former United States of America, I suggest that blog members check out the website of deagel.com. Deagel is highly respected third party data analysis firm used by DOD, DIA, NSA, and other intelligence agencies and corporations. These guys do the analysis for defense spending vis-a-via US vs other countries, and forecast all sorts of trends for the military. They are NOT a ‘conspiracy’ site; they are a data science site, and they are politically atheistic (i.e. no slant). Take an interesting read.

    https://deagel.com/country/United%20States%20of%20America

They have 5 year forecasts for most countries on the planet. Look at their projections for the US, as above, (and many other western countries) for 2025. Between now and 2025, they’re showing a US drop of ~70% in population; also in GDP, GDP per capita, and defense spending. They point out that they are NOT including in their analysis, a nuclear war or a major pandemic. Their predicted causal factors in their analysis for the US is one of economic collapse due in large measure to market scams, ponzi schemes for pension funds and state and local govmints, and other funny money based games being played everywhere in the country. They predict that many (young) people will leave and go to SA and Asia; many will also die (?of starvation, violence?).

Anyone who reads regularly updating financial material, AND is not a broker, bond seller, politico, or sycophant of money interests, will know the truth of the above causes for financial collapse.

Just wondering what the rational members of this board think about this. No canadian responses please; look at your own country’s data and situation; leave ours to us. For a chart of all country forecasts, go to :

We should all realize by now that face masks have never been shown to prevent or protect against viral transmission. Which is exactly why they have never been recommended for use during the seasonal flu outbreak, epidemics, or previous pandemics.”

“Since the beginning of the pandemic I’ve read hundreds of studies on the science of medical masks. Based on extensive review and analysis, there is no question in my mind that healthy people should not be wearing surgical or cloth masks. Nor should we be recommending universal masking of all members of the population. That recommendation is not supported by the highest level of scientific evidence.”

Please forgive me, being an old man who still works in the front line of hospital (emergency dept) and still hear the old drunken Greeks, singing, “the most feared and persecuted people in the world are those that ask questions”.

I have a question. During the past few years the intensity and quantity of the flu has been increasing, for example RSV that usual hits kids was also gaining in adults. Some of us at work began wearing our masks during the whole shift during flu season, PLUS getting our flu shot, and what a difference in staff flu/respiratory illness and sick calls.

PLEASE if you are a prepper person, follow the rules of mother nature, there exists folks who are against the flu shot, because they do not believe in evolution, that the earth is 4 billions years old( take or add a 1 year or two), that the earth is round. They hide under new protests, beware the natural world does not care for your right/left wing views.

For the first time in my life I may get a flu shot soon. My wife and daughter keep nagging me about it. If ever were I to get one, now is the time. I hope it’s the right decision. Is being 75 and getting one for the first time going to affect me badly in any way?

Yes, beantown, it will make you more susceptible to respiratory viruses. Also, older people don’t make much antibody from it so they give a larger dose, which might make you sick. And, you do realize that they rarely hit as high as 50% efficacy anyway?

Why not just take vitamin D, maybe some zinc too. And if you come down with something, add courageous levels of vitamin C.

Headline from George Floyd country…where it all began!

    From today’s local catbox liner:

“CDC pulls staff, citing (not yet) frozen northland threats.” COVID-19 survey teams were accosted when they approached homes selected at random for voluntary testing and by neighbors and dog walkers, state health officials said. It’s unclear whether any laws were broken, but state officials said the way survey teams were treated was “untoward”.

The “hoax” has the natives a tad peeved, it seems. Does anyone with half a brain really think we’d be where we are now had it not been for emergence of “the covid”?

Meanwhile, the king of the US of A stands ready to work as much of this as he can to full advantage. Of all the places in the goddamned universe he could be next Wednesday, the day after the first debate, guess where he’ll be? That bastion of all of the (not yet) frozen tundra cities, DULUTH! It’ll be at the airport, of course…The king likes to get in and out quickly. No need to hobnob with anyone but his base, who will be out in force, I’m sure. Maybe it’ll become a superspreader event. Pete Atomic, maybe you could report to this heralded website on how it goes. Wear a mask…Hate to have any CFN reporters “fall by the wayside”, shall we say.

Not to worry about Biden supporters (there are a few in those parts, I hear). They’ll be cowering in their basements. Yes, most houses have basements up here (those damn tornadoes, you know). No cheap slab on grade trailers up here. Those are for losers. If Trump wins, I have a scoop on the likely future of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, but I’ll save that for later.

    Nice one JK!

I went out yesterday, which means I got into my trusty 2007 sedan to start it up and face the music. I dislike going out and always have because of the blatantly insulting nature of our hyperconnected culture. Many people need to sit in front of a mirror and say the words “passive aggressive” in as many dramatic versions as possible while looking themselves right in the eye. Does anyone know what cathartic means?

I’m not so sure that would help though. Instead of engaging in anything cognitive-behavioral, the victims of today socio-pathetic reality express their angst and coerce everyone who will actually listen to their drama queen reality. It is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen, and it exemplifies the Democratic party in their (hopefully) last stand against anything truthful and worthy.

Wammins? Give me a break. The emancipated female is going to get what they have coming to them after their manipulative and despicable complaining, blaming, and popping out useless offspring with no idea what a family is. After they had the shit machine (baby) they got rid of the semen donor because you know, men are daddy and make shit machines. It’s so much easier if they don’t have to claim responsibility, it is always the man’s fault.

And that leads us into the despicable state of affairs for the groovy, the lefty, the laid back. They have already demonstrated their wrath and fury so the rest of us can laugh out loud. At this point a BLM demonstration is like a kindergarten class with a missing teacher and the kids are smoking fentanyl from China via the dark web. Good Lord please help us.

Forgive me, I digress. My going out yesterday involved getting stuck at stoplights next to V8 super truck boom box tattoo nitwit clowns and civilians alone in their cars with face masks on. Alone in their cars. With face masks. It brought new light to the mental balance of my fellow humans and the compassionate desperation they are experiencing.

Store purchases were chaotic and pathetic as usual, no difference at all except for the PPE protocol. When I departed the UPS store I witnessed a “Karen Attack” where a keyed up man berated a wammin said some things to him about keeping distance. I believe he was completely in the right to attack this creepy imbalanced female. The fantastic thing about it is that he did not let up until the cunt got in her car and drove away. Even after she left he was hurling insults.

We were all flabbergasted but strangely respectful of this man’s vigor. He took it upon himself to set things straight and I hope that Karen ended up in tears with a broken heart and a spineless epithet. We need more good people striking back! There have been some homeless person murders here in Santa Rosa and I know how the honest people feel after having been dragged into detention for a felony repelling these homeless despicable creeps.

Is there a way for the populace to accept the inevitable? That we are destined to a life of monarchy following an oligarchy rule? I think it will take some time, but if it can be accelerated I am all for it. GO TEAM CHAOS!

The 54-year-old Milwaukee man, identified by family and friends as Jason Cleereman, was shot and killed Tuesday evening, Sept. 22.

Milwaukee police said a bicyclist was involved in an altercation with Cleereman on Tuesday night… Officers said the suspect fired shots killing him. Cleereman’s wife, Evanjelina, witnessed the shooting.

Police released surveillance photos on Thursday of the man suspected of shooting Cleereman. Maldonado called the situation “extremely senseless.”

There’s not going to be an FDR this time around. According to the book, “A Traitor to his Class”, what FDR really feared about Fascism in Europe in 1934 was that he knew that American labor could not compete with Fascist slave labor. Create a superior form of labor and then watch the displaced workers bereft of purpose in life freak out. Or channel their freak out to give them a deranged false purpose in politics?

    Attention dear readers (and this means NDoc, also);

It has, this AM, been reported by the BBC, that a brain eating microbe has been discovered in the water supply of a small Texas town.

    Brain eating.

Until this very moment, I had considered the concept of a “zombie apocalypse” as the stuff of fantasy…something that Puck might have once envisioned in his fevered imagination…or when drunk on cheap Australian beer. But no. The apocalypse is upon us…IT EATS YOUR GODDAMNED BRAIN!

If this were a biblical discussion, I would suggest that, yea and verily this a fact…were I a sailor in a cheap waterfront dive, I would suggest that “Now, this is no shit…” Being on this august site, however, I would suggest…a probative link.

Isn’t it obvious that the brain-eating amoeba made its appearance many years ago in America? I mean, after all, unbelievable political decisions here could only be explained by neuronic deficiency caused by a parasite. Or maybe nature has decided that intelligence isn’t the way to go and evolution now favors individuals with low-count brain cells.

If Biden is doing well in the Tuesday night debate, look closely at his eyes, if you can. If they are red or too big, you know he’s drugged. If he is overly aggressive, he could be methed out. I get suspicious when the Dems allow him to debate. OTOH, if he stumbles in his deliveries, dozes off, talks very softly, acts confused or drools he is probably in his natural state.

    • SoftStarLight September 27, 2020 at 1:35 pm #

Or consider that the Biden that participates in the debate is a double or a droid or a clone. I personally am hoping to see Biden get weird and inappropriately aggressive. I think that will be funny and sad at the same time.

I doubt that. There’s no human clones at this time. No droid is advanced enough to pass for a human. I would guess that a double could be detected- too many close-by people. No double is an exact double.

The LMPD leaked transcripts of their investigation several months ago, and in this video the host is reading it out loud and offering some commentary. The transcript is very interesting because if you know anything about the drug game; there are a lot of red flags that come up regarding Breanna Taylor.

The investigation transcript spans 2016 to the date of her death.

I think the video’s host either has a law degree, or was or is an attorney?

But he is also very “hood” and knowledgeable of the drug hustle (and admits it)

It is important to note that Jamarcus Glover and Kenneth Walker are two DIFFERENT boyfriends; but only Glover was the target of the police investigation. Walker was the boyfriend with her the night she was killed; but he was clean, with a legally purchased and possessed firearm.

The reason I bring this up is NOT to blame Breanna for her own death; but to just say that ALL women know when their boyfriend is dealing drugs; because “what you do for a living” is one of those questions every female has to find out before/after they get “involved” with you…

    Thats just nature.

Based on the police investigation transcript, it sounds like she got sucked up into his hustle, and he was just using her out of convenience for his drug dealing?

The police investigation transcript is comprehensive and definitely worth a read (although this guy reading it is great too because he is codified and hood at the same time) because it shows among other things, that Breanna Taylor was way deep in on the drug hustle.

Matter of fact, the entire investigation started with a dead body found in a car she rented (probably for Jamarcus Glover)

How about George? Was he responsible for his own death? At least a little bit? I love how Blacks think Blacks can act utterly irresponsibly and then put everyone on the responding White officers.

People who cannot or will not take responsibility are the “natural slaves” that Aristotle talked about.

      • thwack September 27, 2020 at 3:14 pm #

He has been allowed to blame everyone and everything for all bad events in his life.
Its the crutch that so many refuse to see and the very essence of why he does not understand that he is as much on the plantation as any slave in history.
You might be the first person in his entire history that has bothered to be honest and not allow him to wallow in his own ignorance.

The weird Black kid who was a violinist might have gotten a bad deal. Never heard much about him. Too weird (or even good?) for most Blacks. The Media wants to feed Blacks the raw meat they desire. They want Thug Kangs who are gunned down and thus become martyrs, with all their sins forgotten and forgiven. A good kid? Where is the power in that for the media? And for Blacks, there’s so little to identify with.

Fine, since Sredni does not answer the direct question, I will. It is a philosophical question. In my opinion, the majority of people are easily misled, lied to, etc. I know people whose entire daily lives and most of their emotions and intellect are taken up with false causes that are simply dogmas, propaganda narratives and quite false. They lack discernment and even if told of the problem, will only lash out.
Do they deserve what they get? Let me just say that as a believer in reincarnation, I think they get what they get at the level of immaturity that they are at, and that one fine day they will be wiser.

Janos can’t answer my question honestly without demolishing his entire premise; thats why he won’t answer it.

All Im asking is if limited/retarded cognitive ability and various social deficits are grounds for abuse and mistreatment?

Because if the answer is “yes”, then ALL people are in trouble; but especially white people, because they live long lives and by doing so, are at greater risk of ending up in the “nigger zone” of limited/retarded cognitive ability and various social deficits; which according to the logic of Janos, qualifies them for abuse and mistreatment.

To many people think they are bullet proof until the reality is they are not.
I suspect most of the people being shot to death at this point still don’t believe they don’t make reality.
That look of shock is the telltale sign.

Serendipity is not a word to be thrown around lightly.

BT Bill and Elysian Fields, when was it the subject of ‘reloading’ came up? Just a few days ago I think.

Lot of tag sales in the neighborhood this weekend, walked around the neighborhood seeing what I could find. Some interesting stuff alongside the most appalling junk; I picked up a few hand tools for just pennies, also got a copy of Malcolm Lowry’s ‘Under the Volcano’ for 50c. But here’s what else I found, tucked in a shoebox: Lee Loader .357 magnum, Lee bullet mold, a Starret micrometer depth guage, and a small rubber hammer. The original statement is here, $63.96, shipped on June 10, 2001, not to my neighbor but to somebody in New Hampshire. It looks like it’s a 1 round at a time deal, old school. I have a coffee can full of once used .357 casings, so what else do I need? Bullets, powder and primers? And how do you buy smokeless powder, and who carries it? Question, questions. If you don’t hear from me I probably blew my left and off, and I’m a lefty.

So included here is a little tool to cast bullets two at a time. Apparently you melt lead and pour it into the provided molds.

    It appears to be unused.

This looks to be a last ditch system. I imagine myself as a character in a Cormac McCarthy novel, on the side of the road, desperately melting lead over an open fire, my Marlin carbine and Ruger Blackhawk down to their last pitiful rounds.

Don’t you need some additional equipment? I don’t know very much about reloading as I thought I would never do so myself. Marlin, if you’re nervous about reloading, please be careful. It’s a little late in life to learn how to be a righty. Also, shouldn’t you be sure your used brass is smooth?

    • BackRowHeckler September 27, 2020 at 4:51 pm #

Bill, there is a little handtool in this kit to size the brass.

Video on YouTube has some pretty good instructions. This system appears to be complete, but primitive.

      I’m going for it.

In the old west, details of soldiers would spend their time in the field collecting .45/70 brass, melting lead into bullets, then assembling complete rounds with nothing more than a pick to punch out old caps, a spoon to measure black powder, a wooden jig, and rubber hammer (plastic wasn’t invented yet) Ammo was at a premium then, as it is now.

Yup, I’m a little late in life to learn how to be a righty. My trigger finger itches a tad in old age, and I’m liable to blast someone off the face of the earth if I pack heat. I’m better off without a weapon, but I know i could get one in a heartbeat. I’m a very good driver, BTW.

CFN is up and running on all cylinders now, so it seems appropriate to post the following…

Trump has become almost magical at trolling his opponents with outrageous claims and preposterous boasts. He’s a genius, the ultimate antichrist, although he sadly doesn’t realize it. He knows perfectly well what fires he starts though, and should be arrested for arson, just like the extremists (left wing only???…I humbly believe there are one or two right wing extremists out there).

This is not an endorsement of Joe Biden, but that’s another story. It’s disrespectful to make fun of a feeble old man, after all. How old is Trump anyway? Yeah, i know…I’m not fighting fair.

    Flu shots

Two comments. Seniors now get a more potent edition of the flu shot. Ask for the senior shot as older immune systems need a little more stimulus.

Flu shots work, if they hit the right strain. Once in a while they miss, but the shot still slows down the bug that plays out for the season. If the immune system is stimulated, seems to me it should help with any invader.

Side effects sore shot site for a few days, worst case a malaise for a couple of days as a result of your immune system kicking in.

    Uh, no ED.

Why is it that there is no program to address the two major problems facing the US, or the world today?

    Overpopulation

    Income inequality

Neither side has a legitimate idea of what to do about either one. Both are causing side effects that are always talked about but never addressed. Climate change and increasing unrest.

The Democratic answer. Open the borders! This qualifies as insanity. Fund the illegals! Nuts!

The GOP answer. ?? I guess removing taxation and restrictions help make the economy more responsive, but if the concentration of the Elite in both parties continues, no effect.

    Ideas?

    • beantownbill. September 27, 2020 at 6:40 pm #

Overpopulation exacerbates overshoot, and inequality exacerbates unrest. Producing more than 2.1 children seems to be nature’s built-in, automatic method to insure against extinction when necessary items like food and water are in short supply, thus guaranteeing species survival. So poor people tend to have more kids, and then disease helps limit population. In our world, we have overcome a lot of disease, thus removing a lot of that self-limiting population factor. Unfortunately, having a lot of children has become ingrained in come cultures.

This is where preventing income inequality comes in. If poor families weren’t as poor as they now are, then they ultimately would not have as many children. But it takes time to erase cultural habits and we don’t have enough time left. That’s why only drastic solutions will work, like a widespread, deadly virus, or nuclear war, or population reduction by fiat.
And so, that’s why we are screwed.

      • JohnAZ September 27, 2020 at 10:09 pm #

You are correct in this estimation.

Europe was overpopulated in the Middle Ages. When the Black Death took out 1/3 of the people of Europe and the dominance of the church, many wonderful things happened including the Renaissance and the Reformation. The glory days of Europe followed close behind.

Is that what we are heading for? Is the next virus that hits going to be the one that creates the New World Order?

        • beantownbill. September 27, 2020 at 10:23 pm #

If the SHTF, I don’t think there’ll be any NWO; as JHK opines, there’ll only be local order. Or possibly regional, but that will be it.

        • JohnAZ September 27, 2020 at 9:52 pm #

          D- all of the above.

The developed world has low birth rates, including the US.

Our population growth, needed for economic growth, is from immigration, we are taking immigrants from everywhere on the planet.

The real problem is why. These people come from socialized nations AS they are failing. They bring their gimme attitudes with them because that is all they have known. They come here because of the Democratic party’s insistence to take care of them.

Not just international. California is exporting “Blues” all over the West. State by state, the West is turning Blue as the onslaught continues.

The US is going to turn socialist and soon. Why? Because the Old American credo folks are outnumbered by the new Blue gimme folks and demographics are taking their toll. Two sources
Immigrants and stupid twenty and thirty somethings. Both sources carefully created and cultivated by the Left.

          • JohnAZ September 27, 2020 at 10:21 pm #

The Democratic Party, soon to be the Uniparty, has won the century long socialization project. The main cause is the stupidification of the American public, especially the RINO contingent of the old GOP. Cowardly Deep State GOPers are responsible for the debacle, allowing the Left to take over just by not countering their rise to dominance.

Just like Rome, Just like Greece, just like Britain and every other empire. America as a beacon on the hill of freedom and individual rights is about to pass into the history books.

The sentence below appeared in a Google search I did on Amy Coney Barrett:

“In an interview last year at an alumni function at Notre Dame Law School, Barrett said she’d relished her role as law professor and was still on a steep “learning curve” as a jurist.”

Sooo, with all her smarts this SC nominee is yet another person who does NOT understand learning curves. If I am a senator she does not get a vote of approval from me.

For the hundredth time, a learning curve is not like a hill you are facing and must ascend. Rather, it is like a hill you must descend and therefore the steeper that hill is the faster and more easily you will approach the bottom. The bottom is where one is near maximum competence.

I say this knowing full well that no one gives a shit about learning curves.

If you had adopted Black kids, you would know about pain, hard work, and racial inequality. Is that why you didn’t?

      • JohnAZ September 27, 2020 at 10:24 pm #

Good statement here. I wonder what Amy Barrett would say about the two Haitian kids she adopted and their acceptance into our culture. I certainly hope she has raised them as Americans and not Haitians.

That is like raising a Rotweiler to be a Labrador. You can hope all you want, you are probably going to be disappointed.

With all of the evidence staring people right in the face, why do they continually deny the reality of race?

Are they really so scared of the implications? Because not accepting the fact of race leads us into far worse situations, like a 37,000 a year black-on-white rape rate.

      Mr.Q.Shtik;

It depends.Actually there are 4 types of learning curves:

1.Diminishing-Returns Learning Curve. The rate of progression increases rapidly at the beginning and then decreases over time
      2.Increasing-Returns Learning Curve
3.Increasing-Decreasing Return Learning Curve (the S-curve)
      4.Complex Learning Curve.

      and 4 types of competence:

      1. Unconscious Incompetence
      2. Conscious Incompetence
      3. Conscious Competence
      4. Unconscious Competence (A)
      5.Competence With Continued Consciousness (B)

These are very important questions. Almost as important as the grammatical errors in Q’s post.

  106. Q. Shtik September 27, 2020 at 8:24 pm #

A learning curve is a line drawn on graph paper. It starts on the upper left and descends toward the lower right. A steep descent gets to near the bottom (reflecting near maximum competence) more quickly and with less effort than a shallow descent line.

Learning curves are used to estimate the hours needed to complete a task done repetitively.

    • John1945 September 27, 2020 at 8:51 pm #

The switch happened around 30’s.Before that 0X axis was number of attempts and 0Y axis was time-per-task.

Nowadays the horizontal axis represents experience either directly as time (clock time, or the time spent on the activity), or can be related to time (a number of trials, or the total number of units produced).

The vertical axis is a measure representing learning or proficiency or other proxy for “efficiency” or “productivity”. It can either be increasing (for example, the score in a test), or decreasing (the time to complete a test).

She is going to have a learning curve, simply that she has to learn the ropes of her job, no matter what she goes into. The Supreme Court is no different. Every member of the court had to learn the ropes when they were appointed. No reason to question her abilities.

    • Sredni Vashtar September 28, 2020 at 12:14 am #

How counter-intuitive. Why not make them start from the bottom and work their way up to competence?

Trump doesn’t have a decent opponent…the outcome should be apparent, but he’s screwed himself at every turn. The Tuesday debate will be make-or-break for Biden. Trump can do whatever he damn well pleases. it won’t make a difference to his base. More interesting in the (not yet) frozen tundra will be whether the natives are sufficiently restless to go red for the first time since 1972. It’s gonna be fun to watch, for sure.

    Matthew 3: 7-12

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

At least 5 people shot in Hartford and New Haven this weekend. The violence doesn’t appear to be political; it’s just the ordinary way of life inside ‘The Community’. Its astonishing really. It was a beautiful weekend, beaches are still open, leaves on oaks and maple are changing to red and yellow, temps were warm, with sunny afternoons, perfect conditions apparently for gunning down your neighbors.

George Floyd — St George — was arrested in Houston for violent crimes 8 times … isn’t it curious we’ve never seen a mugshot? Have you seen one? St George murals are painted on walls all over the country, but no mugshots anywhere. You would think at least one of our esteemed legacy MSM companies would have investigated St George’s background, obtained mugshot or Texas prison photos, and published them? But so far, no.

Jim, I’m having a “tussle” with your friend Jack Rasmus at his site.

I left a long reply to one of his posts where he ventured into politics. Once I realized that he was moderating comments, I was very sure that he’d ignore it.

    But NO!

He posted my response on his blog as an example of a “Radical Right Winger” and accused me of basically being insane. I did respond nicely and told him that it’s symptomatic of our time and that he’s a victim of massive propaganda efforts. I’ll be curious if he responds to my fairly gracious response.

Have a look. I mentioned that I am in total agreement with your blog posts and pointed out that you’ve been a lifelong Democrat and that we agree and are both voting for Trump.

Oh how far the great Democratic party has fallen since JFK Jr. and Truman!!
