You’d think Hillary Clinton might come up with a better zinger than “Russian asset” when she flew out of her volcano on leathery wings Friday and tried to jam her blunted beak through Tulsi Gabbard’s heart. Much speculation has been brewing in the Webiverse that the Flying Reptile of Chappaqua might seek an opening to join the Democratic Party 2020 free-for-all. Wasn’t “Russian asset” the big McGuffin in the Mueller Report — the tantalizing and elusive triggering device that added up to nothing — and aren’t most people over twelve years old onto that con by now?
It’s not like Tulsi G was leading the pack, with two cable news networks and the nation’s leading newspapers ignoring her existence. Tulsi must have been wearing her Kevlar flak vest because she easily fended off the aerial attack and fired back at the squawking beast with a blast of napalm:
“Great! Thank you @HillaryClinton. You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long, have finally come out from behind the curtain. From the day I announced my candidacy, there has been a concerted campaign to destroy my reputation. We wondered who was behind it and why. Now we know — it was always you, through your proxies….”
Ouch! The skirmish does raise the question, though: is the Democratic Party so sick and rotted that it would resort to entertaining Hillary Clinton as the 2020 nominee? Fer sure, I’d say. The party has been on suicide watch since the Mueller Report blew up in its face. At this point, it’s choking to death on its current leaders in the race. Apart from his incessant hapless blundering on the campaign trail, Joe Biden will never survive assisting his son Hunter’s grifting adventures in foreign lands. It’s just too cut-and-dried and in-your-face. The kid scammed millions out of Ukraine and China and it’s all documented. Mr. Biden will soon announce his retirement from the field — to spend more time with his family, or for vague health reasons.
Mrs. Warren has been on a roll since August — with Joe B foundering — but she has two big problems: 1. She seems incapable of telling the truth about her personal “story.” For decades she pretended to be a Cherokee Indian for the purpose of career advancement on various college faculties (including Harvard), and lately she told a whopper about being fired from a teaching job years ago on account of being pregnant, apparently unaware that a tape recording existed of her telling a totally different story — that she quit the job to do something else, even when they offered her a new contract. How many times would those bytes be replayed in 2020? And 2. She’s retailing a cargo of economic policy bullshit that would turn the USA into Venezuela with sprinkles on top, and she’s already hard-pressed to explain all the numbers that don’t add up in her Medicare-for-all package. Over the weekend, she demanded that transgender illegal border jumpers “must” be released into the United States. There’s a winning issue in the Rustbelt states!
And of course, there are questions a’plenty about the DNC itself and the peculiar mix of race hustlers, Wall Street catamites and war-hawks currently running the outfit. Sounds like a Hillary quorum to me. The DNC handed off the whole operation to the Hillary campaign in 2016 and fixed the nomination with super-delegate hugger-mugger. Is it possible that Hillary still controls the leadership? My guess is that a big chunk of the loot assembled into the Clinton Foundation over the years has enabled HRC to buy the tattered remnants of the DNC lock, stock, and barrel. All that funny money bought a whole lot more, too, including all the predicating bullshit that kicked off RussiaGate, UkraineGate, and now ImpeachGate.
The next gate to go through will be the wholesale prosecution of a whole lot of government officials, elected, appointed, and retired, for the malicious shenanigans that led to the current administrative civil war between the branches and agencies of the government itself. It may prove to be a gate too far for the existence of constitutional government as we’ve known it. All that rot leads to the heads of the big fish: Barack Obama and Hillary. When they are officially implicated, that will be the last roundup for the old donkey. Perhaps something new will organize around the stalwart Tulsi G. She is not alone out there.

HRC should face charges for her negligent handling of classified materials instead of calling Tulsi a Russian asset.
She won’t; she’s been officially cleared several times over, beginning with Comey and concluding with a State Department investigation reported last week.
Now on to our host. When I read his title, the Bruce Lee movie immediately came to mind. My next thought was “I’m glad you didn’t write ‘Enter The Dragon Lady.'” That would have been amusing if very insulting and politically incorrect, but it’s Hunter Biden who our host connected to China, not Madame Secretary. As for the younger Biden, let’s see if he and his father’s meltdown over Ukraine is as successful as “Chernobyl” winning ten Emmy Awards. I’m not sure it will be as epic.
Moving on, Madame Secretary may be onto something about Tulsi Gabbard, not just what she said about her being a “Russian asset.” It’s that she’s outside the mainstream of the current Democratic Party. Here’s what I wrote about her in August: “Tulsi Gabbard is now the most conservative candidate running for the Democratic nomination. Her economic score increased from 33 to 35, the highest of any candidate in the contest, while her social score increased to 85, making her the most libertarian candidate running among the Democrats. As this entire project of mine began with me debunking the idea of Tulsi Gabbard ‘being objectively further left then the rest of the Dem primary field’ and pointing out she was among the most conservative, if not the most conservative, this result gives me great pleasure. Ha, ha, ha, ha! I told you so!”
Actually she wasn’t cleared of mishandling classified info. She did mishandle classified info. The actual finding is that she didn’t “willfully” mishandle it.
No one with an IQ above room temperature believes it, ofc, but that’s the swamp for you.
We hear that a lot from Dems. Hillary’s been cleared, Biden’s been cleared, etc. The only people who can clear you is a jury at a trial (or a judge, if you go that route), and then only because we have 5th Amendment rights against double jeopardy. I suppose you could also argue that the Prez can clear you, and courts can set aside a verdict.
But my point is that the AG could indict Hillary and Biden right now. I think one of the reasons Hillary may run is to simply protect herself—politically speaking—from prosecution. Even if she knows she can’t win, running for office provides her some measure of protection.
NV
Exonerated by a judicial law enforcement system totally dedicated to protecting the Deep State. Lady Justice shivered over this one.
At least OJ had to convince a jury. As you say JohnAZ, Hillary only had to convince a bunch of deep staters raised in her stables and nurtured on her “charity fund” to give her a pass.
Such a pity AG Loretta Lynch couldn’t collect that Supreme Court seat Bill promised her on the Tarmac.
Imagine that instead of us all being toast there were someone to write a history about all this in a few years.
She flapped her leather wings and got Trumped again.
They all are or want to be asset(s). Here is a vision of things to come! It might actually be fun!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGVjhK6PNSE
Thanks Jim.
I like Tulsi Gabbard. Along with Klobuchar and Buttigieg, she at least makes an appearance of sanity. If that’s true, I don’t know. Appearances can be deceiving. The Deep State is an equal opportunity dirty trickster– what party representation doesn’t matter to the “12 intel agencies”– it’s all about what the real back room policy promises are in regards to the continuation of the US security state & neo-imperial global empire its running right now. So, it’s fascinating– and very, very revealing– to have similar charges of ‘Russian asset’ vs. Gabbard in the same vein as was done Trump.
You gotta march in line with the “program”, or else!
Good point. The similarities of the two attacks sure seems to point the finger of who is in charge, doesn’t it.
Except it isn’t new. Trump got the worst of it because he won.
But everyone from Jill Stein to Susan Sarandon was called a “Russian agent.”
The strategy of using it on Trump specifically was documented in the Wikileaks emails.
It’s no different than shouting “racist” or “conspiracy theory,” which, ofc, they also shout whenever threatened.
What’s funny is, the Dem Establishment climbed into bed with the Sovs while FDR was in the WH, and generally remained there (except Scoop Jackson and JFK) until 9 November 2016, when the Russkies were suddenly even worse than even Joe McCarthy and Bill Jenner and Dutch Reagan and Barry Goldwater had ever said. “OMG! “, they wailed — “Ivan the Big Bad Bear is going to rend America! These Damn Russia-loving conservatives hate America!” Funny, considering for 80 years the conservatives were horrible people for saying anything bad about Joe, Nikita, Leonid, Vlad, and the other evil horse’s asses who ran the USSR and Russia; now, they were bad for not being anti-American enough. You’d swear you were dealing with a bunch of psychotic people, which I suppose we are when we’re dealing with the Deep State.
agreed
The real Russian asset is Hillary. The level of protection that is afforded her by the MSM is unbelievable. Who is it that has benefitted the most from deals with the Russians?
Hillary!
Correct. With this group everything is psychological projection.
Bill and Hill’s millions are not enough to explain the amount of corruption and collusion becoming more and more obvious in DC. They are getting support from outside the US, and lots of it. The globalists smell a huge victory in the works and are circling the prey.
Us!
LOL! Everyone loves a good cat fight! My estimation of the indefatigable Ms. Gabbard just went through the roof. But yes, the donkey show (Hey gringo, I take you to see the donkey show for only $20!) is looking more and more like a replay of the 2016 fiasco with the same outcome almost certain, barring any untoward election shenanigans. Hopefully Trump can drive a proper wooden stake through the great HillaBeast’s heart this time and we can all be done with her for good. Hope springs eternal!
You got to drive many spikes through many hearts to put this monster in her political coffin. It really shows what a corrupt group a large part of the American public has become!
BTW, anyone have an news on how many Kurds survived the devastating Turkish assault in Kentucky?
Yang, Williamson, O’Rourke and Buttigieg all spoke up for Tulsi, but guess what, not a peep from the 3 front runners, Sanders, Warren and Biden.
So what was that about Hillary being irrelevant at this point?
Sanders has decided that it might not look good for him not to defend the woman who stepped down from her position as vice chair of the DNC in 2016 to protest what they were doing to his candidacy. So the obligatory word of defence were utter.
Are there still nice people in the country?
Think about it.
Millions spent on the campaigns of Democratic 2020 candidates. Hours in preparation for debates. Months of anticipation. In large part, a repudiation of the fiasco in 2016.
And now, along comes Hillary. All you peons, bow down and worship at the altar of the Hill.
It is a condemnation of our political system that this could be happening.
AOC endorsed Bernie over the weekend. Is she going to be next in the crosshairs?
Dear Jim,
You keep saying we’ll be seeing all these indictments and prosecution of all these misdeeds but I just don’t believe it. You definitely know more about this than I so I defer to your expertise but I no longer have any faith that anything resembling “the right thing” will be done. Each side will just keep screaming at each other and engaging in behind-the-scenes machinations until (please Lord) we run out of fossil fuels and/or the grid goes down (please terrorists I beg you) and we’ll finally have some blessed silence. Until, of course, the looters run riot. Good thing I live way out in the country.
Peace,
d
I agree. Notice how the whole Epstein list of pedophiles has completely fallen off the radar? And who actually believes this guy committed suicide?
All of this crap will fall down a black hole with perhaps some damage done to a few useful dupes to appease the theater patrons. However, the big fish will carry on as usual with their mining of the peons operation. Further, anyone who expects the peons in the US to begin mass protests or not show up for work for a few days to stop the machine is crazy. The peons can’t afford to miss the pay for such antics or they’d be homeless. The owners have this place locked up airtight.
He went after teens. He was not a pedo.
Oh. HUGE difference. My mistake.
LOL.
Yes, very big difference. Marrying teenage girls is very common throughout the world, and certainly was once part of our traditions as well. Their bodies are ready, right? And therefore men respond to them or they to men. Of course their minds might not be ready, certainly not in the West as it is now. And that’s both potentially good or bad depending on what she is doing instead.
“Marrying teenage girls is very common throughout the world, and certainly was once part of our traditions as well. Their bodies are ready, right? ”
No they aren’t, but since when did men who want young girls give a stuff about that?
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC411126/
“Complications from pregnancy and childbirth are the leading cause of death in young women aged 15 to 19 in developing countries, warned a report published last week. An estimated 70 000 adolescent mothers die each year because they have children before they are physically ready for parenthood, the report says.”
I’m sure we could add on a whole lot more who don’t quite die. That’s in countries where you have to be pretty grown up at 15 compared to the West. And it’s 15-19 year olds, not 13 or 14-year-olds.
Of course marrying teenage girls is very common throughout the world – it used to be much more common in the West when the kind of society that certain individuals on here are proselytising for existed everywhere and ‘girls’ got no say in anything.
‘Sois belle et tais-toi’, as the French used to say. Some probably still do.
Mohammad married his 12th wife Aisha when she was 6, but patiently waited until she was 9 (he was 53) to consummate the marriage. Speak ill of that historical fact, GA, and some of your lovely neighbors might burn down your house with you inside. Oh the joys of multi-culturalism!.
hm, are you suggesting that other men at the same time didn’t also do that? And in other places? I take it you’re aware that Isabella of Valois was just under seven when she married Richard II and became queen in 1396? Of course it’s grotesque in retrospect, but you talk as if Mohammed did something unheard of for the times. Richard did it centuries later.
What a bizarre notion that the age of Mohammed’s wife would come up in normal conversation between neighbours, not that I even know them. But if she does, I’ll try to bring in Isabella too, for fairness.
Never mind balance and fairness. Just don’t bad mouth Mohammed; these people aren’t light hearted about their faith.
Watch what you say, censor yourself, suppress unacceptable opinions until even your private thoughts are their thoughts – or face the consequences. Welcome to the Orwellian New World Order; slavery is freedom and war is peace.
Your country is a few years ahead of us down this road, but there are plenty of people here who cherish such a dystopia. Some of them post in this forum.
hm
Chris Morris made this film about British, home-grown Jihadis, and nothing happened to him or anyone in it.
Your paranoia on our behalf is touching, though, so thank you for your concern.
But you too must be gratified by the news that Muslim birth rates are plummeting worldwide. Surely…
“Watch what you say, censor yourself, suppress unacceptable opinions until even your private thoughts are their thoughts – or face the consequences. ”
What kind of world you must live in.

It’s a black comedy. Taking the piss out of Islamic Jihadists.
According to court documents, he had pre-teens as well.
Regardless, why anyone would post this is quite baffling.
Well, it was in response to the post above mine about people in the upper echelon getting away with things. I possibly did use the word casually, but then I haven’t heard if all of of his victims to actually had acheived puberty at the time of their involvement with the guy and his wealthy, well-connected friends. My mistake.
ToTT,
I was not admonishing or correcting you. I agree with you. The exact term hardly matters, and there are plenty of sources of info. saying he liked them very young.
He was a disgusting child f*cker and a blight on humanity.
Tulsi is perceived as anti-war. Therefore, the machine will send forth it’s orcs and assorted minions to destroy her before the she can cause any of the mindlessly flag waving peons to question our stupid war machine.
We are now seeing the one party system with two wings expose itself as absolutely useless. First, the Repubs went insane by catering to their ultra religious, anti-government, anti-science crowd. Now the Dems have gone crazy by, well, by just going bat shit crazy. Although this whole self destructive trajectory may just be the natural order of things. Everyone with any ability to reason knew that our former path of mindless endless growth was a joke (except a lot of economists). So maybe this the way nature handles such aberrations. If we look back at the history of collapsing societies and empires, insanity seems to be baked somewhere along the way to the bottom of the cliff.
Do you recognize the Deep State? You description is their fingerprint. These folks in DC are divorcing themselves from America’s public and any political control. Remember that the vast majority of the Deep State is unelected and are career bureaucrats. They “feed” on the elected folks knowing that they are temporary and will disappear.
The current situation is a power grab by the Deep State against us, the voting public. How dare you elect an outsider who has said he wants to drain our swamp.
If they succeed, do not bother with the charade of voting. It does not matter. And the American republic is gone.
Listen to you. You have yet to repudiate Capitalism whose ethos is endless growth or the Republican Party who supports it and is funded by it. And no, just because the Democrats are too doesn’t make it any better.
Knock the board over. The two parties stand for the two sides of your brain. As long as you support either party, you are committed to war against your other half and are thus compromised and defeated.
Yeah, yeah, I get the whole deep state thing. Believe it or not, I ‘ve sat in many offices in DC talking to congressional critters and their staff. I also did the same thing at the state level. The staffers often move between elected officials as the faces change. In some way it’s goox, bad in others.
As for bureaucrats, I’ve dealt with tons of them. Mostly in the natural resources departments at the state level. These people are not Deep Staters. I realize you may get that, but many conservatives have no comprehension of this system except for what they hear 24/7 from the conservative media echo chamber.
Now, the law enforcement and military departments are a different story. They feed heavily at the public tax payer buffet and they want to continue their gluttony. Yes, I get that. Likely better than most after living around military bases the padt 20 years.
Draining the swamp? Really? You bought that? He gave the Pentagon an open check book and hired a Goldman guy for treasury and you still bought that?
How old are you?
Our vote counts now?
Still believe in Santa and the Easter Bunny?
71, still have hope that the Deep State will implode and people may get their country back and cynical enough to know that it maybe too late.
Yes, I believe in the spirit of Santa Claus and the Easter bunny, don’t you?
Thanks guys, JohnAZ and others, I’m enjoying your exchange. Kin’da like what I encounter whenever I’m in a casual exchange at the local coffee shop on the current political theater; here I am a subscriber to ClusterFuck yet I get labeled variously as both Left and pro-Trump. That is, I’m damned as such.
“Whom the gods would destroy, they first make crazy” ( or something like that…)
Tulsi is the takedown Queen – gave her 50 bucks for that reply!
I was so hoping you would write about Tulsi and Hillary today. Great points about the DEM front runners. Who do they really have who can take on the GGG?
If Tulsi would drop the Liberal spending craziness, she is much closer to the Tea Party and the Trump populists. Is she sticking it to the Deep State? Does she believe her ideals about libertarian values?
If so, she better jump ship soon or get run over by the Dragon Lady.
Liberal spending craziness? Have you looked at which presidents were big spenders? Repubs only care about spending when there’s a Dem in the WH. It’s just a matter of they each spend it on.
On a side note, all of this worrying about libertarian values aren’t going to matter atthis point. Further, libertarian values, as defined by Tea Party types is little more than a utopian dream never actually existing anywhere in any industrial civilization.
Tulsi crosses party lines and the reason they hate her is that she is for PEACE! And the reason they hate Trump is that he wanted détente with Russia and did not start the war with Iran. The Republicans are now up in arms because of the Syrian “withdrawal” so Trump may be removed for Pence who will absolutely start the next war. Or we can all wait for HRC to start the war with Russia!
Both parties are fragmented and collapsing.
https://www.currentaffairs.org/2019/10/why-criticize-warren
According to the above article only Sanders can beat Trump.
Considering a good percentage of Sanders’ voters went Trump after he showed his true colors and caved to a woman who stands for nearly everything he is against, this is highly unlikely.
Bernie is a fraud.
Most likely
There’s no map for collapse or the Long Emergency, but it sure looks like we’re on the right path.
This will not be fixed, if such is even possible, from the inside.
How does a people take power back from a dictatorship once it is in place? TJ knew the answer to this, WAR!
We have a last ditch opportunity to stop the onset of the Deep State takeover by stopping the attempted coup of the presidency. Put political pressure on the power brokers of the DS. Example: Put the fear of political retribution onto the moderate Dems if they support impeachment.
And have you been watching the antics of Mitt Romney? I wish he would just declare himself a Democrat. Think he is trying to wedge his way into the 2020 race? The Mormon church is behind him, get ready for Deseret. (Look it up.)
Trump is Deep State, the Zionist faction. Surely you didn’t imagine that there weren’t factions within it? And no, there isn’t just “two” so your good/bad, light/dark, yes/no dichotomies simply don’t work here.
First, you MAY be right about Trump. But again the alternative offered is so much worse.
The Deep State is chartered to protect the DC establishment, there are many factions in it, but they are unified against anyone they feel is attacking the swamp. If Trump was pro Deep State, why are they spending so much political capital to unseat him. And why is the MSM so virulent in their campaign against him.
I still think if he was unfettered, he would tear down the Deep State as much as he could.
I read today where Romney has been secretly posting on Twitter with some stupid name like Pontius Mayflower or something.
Pierre Delecti
Labels him as just another gutless RINO. Opened in 2011.
ha ha
C’mon man, get a better name then “Pierre” good lord.
You mean Pierre Delecto?
@izzy
Ain’t that the craps. Don’t tell anyone.
~toktomi~
Maybe the Democrats will wake up and remember who they were. Here is one who has not forgotten: https://internationalman.com/articles/david-stockman-on-how-the-us-went-from-america-first-to-empire-first/
Interesting article. I couldn’t find a date on it, though.
Mr. Stockman makes a point here, which ties in with what the post on The Media Awakening, by someone called the Zman, which I linked to below, says:
“The debate today focuses on what Trump was doing during a very brief phone call in July 2019 and not about the history—how we got there and why the thing is off base to begin with. They pretend history only started with a phone call on July 25, 2019.”
Something Rush Limbaugh says that is worth noting, and I don’t find a lot of what Rush says noteworthy, is that he used to believe that the mainstream media was an arm of the Democrats, but now he knows that the Democrats are the arm of the media.
This is true.
Someone who is as well-schooled in history, evidently, as Mr. Stockman, is Pat Buchanan:
https://buchanan.org/blog/is-putin-the-new-king-of-the-middle-east-137628
So the media is in control of the Democrats? Or are both being controlled by a third force? Look up!
Nice discrimination there.
Uber babe Tulsi Gabbard is Military Industrial Complex chic, and they utilize her good looks for impression management as well as sales for new recruits.
Truthdig has been promoting her for many months now via their CENTCOM in-house propagandist Major Danny Sjursen & Dr. Robert Scheer.
In many ways I liken Gabbard to be an inverse Oliver North on the federal stage. To see that she is center stage in a made-for-mainstream journalism gig of Democrat candidate is telling in that she is the most photogenic and makes previous candidates from the 2016 election look like haggard old geriatrics with false teeth.
Frankly, she is sexually appealing compared to her detractors, and sex sells in contemporary politics. The 2016 election was fraught with ‘pussy grabbing’ boorishness which won the majority next to the ‘Mother Jones’ of the Democratic Party who was unable to even stand on her own two failing feet.
It is truly unfortunate that the optics of age & beauty are front & center but if youth represents the future of life we are certain to evidence the aged elderly geriatric crowd like Sanders & Clinton excluded based upon their less than youthful exuberance & looks.
Gabbard is a good looking babe Military Industrial Complex federal election plant. She is pure propaganda and conveniently much like S. Palin Governor of Alaska was for the McCain POTUS gambit.
Bottom line is that Tulsi Gabbard is just way too good looking to be anything other than Military Industrial Complex strategy and a prop.
RW
And Tulsi can see Japan from her Hawaii kitchen window!
Heck, I’m smitten for sure. Does she really reside in Hawaii?
RW
Considering that Gabbard has done little but speak out AGAINST the Military Industrial Complex, I’d like to see the flow chart in your head that led you to the opposite conclusion.
I can’t show you the BIG Board, jeff2002. What kind of Ruskie would Janos think I am if I did that?
Gabbard is corollary AOC for the MIC in that she promotes the US Military and they have been marketing her image as a soldier.
She is GI-Jane 2019/20.
Her commentary has primarily involved her role as a soldier to date. Justification for her political rise is due to allegiance to the MIC and congressional dictates via the legislative & political process of which she is now a participant with legs.
If you read Truthdig as I do you would see how they promote military.
RW
The military industrial complex’s goal is to end regime change wars?
Man you are so full of shit I don’t even know where to start. But you are the Remote Viewing crank right? So it stands to reason that reason will not come forth from you.
If Tulsi were truly a MIC strategy and prop then she would be having a successful campaign right now. The media would not be ignoring her as it is. The DNC wouldn’t be doing everything it could to keep her name and image in the dark, as it has been.
She is consistently speaking an anti-war message. Hardly what the MIC wants.
My just above reply was to Robert White, btw. Now I see that he believes that TruthDig promotes military. Again, shit…full of. So much so that it is running out of your ears. You do not represent Canada well. Then again, perhaps you do.
Gabbard had already distinguished herself from the field for her intelligence, courage, and integrity before she torched the loathsome Hillary. She is the only Democratic candidate for whom I could enthusiastically vote.
But, since she will be prevented by the captured DNC from getting the nomination, I do hope it goes to Hillary. That would be the best way to assure the demise of at least one of our useless, corrupt political parties – perhaps providing an opportunity, as Jim suggests, for the long-overdue creation of a new one that actually attempts to represent the people of this nation.
Two new ones, please. The GOP is even more corrupt and less representative of the public. Two new parties!
My point is proven. Why not any number of new parties like other countries have? You can’t give up the dualism nor even imagine Reality as it is without it.
No? Cite chapter and verse of the Constitution where it says anything about this kind of crap. The Founders didn’t want any of what they called “factions”. Of course, they didn’t explain how the candidates would be funded without parties, so their point was mooted, unfortunately.
George Washington actually warned about having parties.
I do not understand, honestly, the bipolar nature of politics, or why people identify with all the attributes of a political party. I am a Democrat and I believe everything the DNC dictates.
I have, as You are delighting in pointing out, mixed feelings about the parties. Right now, both parties, in self defense, have corrupted themselves. I have feelings about, say, climate change that are “liberal”.
Both parties are merged into the Deep State, the protection of DC from the voters. The career pols and bureaucrats need stability in a volatile environment. Above all, the Deep State’s job is to protect the status quo in DC.
You are right, the Constitution does not call out the party system. Look to history. The first party formation was the Federalists and Republicans. They formed up as followers of Hamilton and Jefferson respectively.
Fascinating. The Federalists favored Federal authority over things and the Republicans believed that the people should control things. Also interesting, Jefferson was agrarian centered and Hamilton was urban.
Sound familiar?
Well said. So why repeat this shit? Have a multitude of parties (funded by the Government) or none at all. Your way simply means being funded by the Corporations – who are the Government now as our System is a Plutocracy. A=A as John Galt said and says.
Aha. So the corporations influence via lobbyists over the elected folks is part of the Deep State?
It just dawned on me what you are saying. Why repeat the same mistake and make our system parliamentarian in nature.
Our president is different than a prime minister. Prime minister’s job depends on if he/she has enough support across the spectrum of parties to swing a majority. He rules by consensus. A president is elected by the public directly and can tell the legislature to take a hike if so inclined. To a point.
Did this difference create the two party system we have? How do two parties represent the varying issues? How can someone just say I am a Democrat so I believe everything that the Democratic leadership tells me. This happens more times than not. Free thinkers are a minority.
Why repeat the same bipolar mistake and instead create a parliamentarian system?
After Hillary lost in 2016 some Sanders supporters brought a lawsuit against the DNC for rigging the primaries against Sanders and for Clinton. I think it was in Florida.
The lawyers for the DNC argued that the Democrat Party and the DNC are PRIVATE organizations and can do as they please. Screw the “voters”.
Google it.
The Superdelegates are the DNC’s “insurance policy” to make certain “the voters” don’t do something stupid like vote for a candidate who is anti-war and truly backs “Medicare for All”.
A candidate like THAT could really throw a monkey wrench into that corporate corruption game they are playing.
Well, I was thinking of voter qualifications and thus disfranchising most, but that might still work with a Parlimentarian system. As well as State funding for candidates. Otherwise we’d be right back to a House of Lords reign, with the super rich as the Lords, either directly or by proxy as we have now.
“…their point was mooted…”
This caught my attention since I have never heard of “mooted ” in this or any other context.
Checking a grammarian site suggests a different meaning entirely:
https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/34453/correct-use-of-mooted
Nevertheless this qualifies as word of the week since our host who often supplies such has not done so in today’s essay.
You are a true bruin.
The Democratic Party is rotten, or perhaps I should say it has become just as rotten as the Republican Party. Money runs everything in DC nowadays. The Republicans were always known as the party of the wealthy back in the day, and the Dems were still the party of the blue collar middle class. After all the manufacturing moved to China, They couldn’t follow, and it crippled the party, it lost it’s constituency.
It’s just Kabuki theater nowadays, but the true believers eat it up. It’s similar to the way an outsider could look at Jim Jones and his followers, and see that they were full of it. That didn’t stop the true believers though, they stood in line to get that good kool aid. Just like the true believers here, unfortunately, and all you can do is stand back and watch it happen. Oh well, I guess we had a good run as far as countries go. There’s a recession on the way, better get those jock straps on.
“The Democratic Party is rotten, or perhaps I should say it has become just as rotten as the Republican Party. ”
Thank you! I keep reading here how rotten the Dem party is as if we have forgotten that the GOP is part of the same clusterfuck. Good to see that acknowledged here.
Republican + Democrat = Deep State
Regarding issues against the swamp, there are no separate parties. You folks that thought that one is different or better than the other are going to be very disappointed. Washington DC is no longer part of, or under the control of the American public.
Who is at fault?
The American public, we sent them there.
Not entirely. Some people are stupid, others don’t have time to critically think.
He who controls the flow of information controls you. The Bad Orange Man is hated by the Uniparty, but some can’t put two and two together because hair and gawdy houses.
Am I the only one who finds it rather ironic that Hitlary and issue are out peddling a book on gutsy women and she then turns around and attacks Tulsi Gabbard who has taken a rather gutsy stand out line of the mainstream of Democratic politics and also two tours in Iraq!

Everybody rushes out of the bar, falling over one another, to get a better look at the female combatants on the sidewalk.
“Keep away from my man, you whore”.
“You’re man. Where do you think he is when he says he’s working overtime? He’s working overtime alright.”
And so on.
Hair pulled, a few scratches, no real harm done. Let’s get out of here before the cops show up. The man in question (his name might be Earl, a truck driver), laying low, orders a boilermaker, draft beer with a shot of whiskey poured in it.

Tulsi has zero sexual presence. To compare her to the deliciously daffy Sarah Palin is simply obscene. But a lack of passion on that level leaves one more capable of passion on a higher level. That’s why Buddha “was against sex” (oh querelle horror) as Sophie gasped.
After ejaculating Balzac used to say, “There goes another novel”. Where is the Man or Womb Man who can understand such things? He should be make King or Queen, but instead they are tortured even as Gulliver was by the Lilliputians.
Buddha short fat guy was too fat to get laid, Janos. That’s why he intellectualized sexual intercourse in his celibate mind & consciousness.
Alfred Adler founded the Adlerian Psychotherapy movement off of the same sorts of personal insecurities.
Buddha short fat guy was never popular with the opposite sex, eh.

Yeah and the Marcusians like you are accused of being reactionaries by the die hard fundy Marxists.
Bob, if you didn’t get everything wrong, you wouldn’t be you. So just keep on keeping on.
Yeah I am amazed at the BS what Bob spews. So much so that I’m hoping he’s just trolling and doesn’t really believe any of his spewed nonsense.
No Robert, some women really go for those spiritual types; it doesn’t matter what they look like. I’ve heard the Dalai Lama is swimming in pussy.
They go for the spiritual types, yes
But cash is required too, cold hard cash
A whole lot of spending cash
Brh
I’ll bet the Dalai has money, even if he doesn’t have pockets.
Dalai Lama got no pockets but what you want to bet there’s a lackey following him around with a bag of greenbacks, ready to peel off whatever is necessary as the situation demands it.
The fat guy you see depicted in statues in some Buddhist cultures is actually Hotei, a folk-deity similar to Ganesha in Hinduism. The actual Gautama Buddha was actually very tall, fit, and athletic.
I will Google Gautama Buddha and read up on it. Thanks for the enlightenment. I had no idea there were two depictions.
RW
Thank you, Pluto. Gays falling in love/lust with him was actually a problem for the early Sangha. And he had blue eyes – the Sakyas were an Aryan folk.
I didn’t know the Mr Ball-sack had such a whimsical attitude towards his “ejaculations”. I learn so many new things in this forum.
Mr , or Monsieur Ball-sack, was also a famous French novelist and playwright in the 1850s.
Janos:
“Tulsi has zero sexual presence. To compare her to the deliciously daffy Sarah Palin is simply obscene”
Translated “She’s not WHITE”.:
Nope. You’re forgetting my lust for the loopy Latina bombshell, AOC. If only she could receive regular doses of my essence I’m sure it would improve her IQ.
Janos and AOC, it would be like Romeo and Juliet, or Adolf and Rosa Luxemburg.
Biological Male wins Women’s Cycling. Can I hear those Commie Commonwealth Seal Claps? Elrond? Alba? Maj? Bob? Paulo?
https://dailycaller.com/2018/10/14/biological-male-wins-womens-world-cycling-championship/
Yup. This transgender baloney of unsuccessful males entering female competition is going to destroy female sports.
Remember the Russian athletes in the 70’s that were more male than female genetically that dominated female sports like weightlifting. It was dealt with by ensuring that the competitors were genetically female.
This current trend is ludicrous. Solution: transgenders not eligible.
Maybe that will stop some of the surgeries.
Males try to self improve with steroids. That is not allowed either.
Simpler solution – have a third competitive category – Transgenders.
How many genders are there – total? It seems to change weekly. And is anyone required to be surgically altered, hormone treated; or can they say “I feel like a woman inside, but I’m keeping my package.”
At what point do people like you see how ridiculous this can get?!
It’s a test to see what we will put up with. Once someone begins accepting this level of bullshit, they will do anything for the nickel.
And that’s what blows my mind: that simple point never appeared to the simple Maj. She really believes that “Transgenders” are a thing. The new American system has fifty something categories and the British seventy two or so, even like the Muslim virgins.
All these categories must get equal funding, every bit as much as what so called cis males or females get, those disgusting creatures.
How can you not love this transgender freak show?
The best part is lefties twisting themselves up like pretzels trying to justify all of it.

You’re doing that thing again, Janos. Please desist.
You’re in trouble now, Janos. The beast of the east walks among us.
If Janos ever desisted he would cease to be Janos. Then he would be ‘cease & desist’ instead of Janos which would leave us all wondering where Janos went, GA.
Janos sets up straw man arguments. He cannot help himself.

RW: “If Janos ever desisted he would cease to be Janos.”
‘Tis a consummation devoutly to be wished.

Why would you expect me (or any of the others in the common-sense cadre) to be applauding this abomination?
There you go again, telling us what we think and why we think it…I have NO IDEA how you decided I’m a communist.
Might be easier for you to tell us why you ”

Don’t use Majella tactics. Better to say why he/she/it might be a communist and support with evidence.
Burden of proof and all …
Why in her/his/its world the burden of proof is on the accused.
Well damn oops there is one point.
I wrote months ago on this blog that the D-party and our country has a white women problem and we see it by the day. White women in the D-party are cracking under the stress of their cognitive dissonance and the equality games that get played while a Tulsi or even Kamala the games favor them.
Anyway here is to the white women of this great country destroying what amounts a very large Jim Jones cult known as the Democratic party.
They will burn it all down, that is what white women do when they are scorned.
And remember that it is women that hold society together, not men.

Oops – no. It was Billy Congreve. My bad.
Please put me on that list too. I heard that hashtags are old school now but maybe we need a ‘RussianAsset’ against ‘regime change wars and endless war’ list to get started. Anyone want to run with this?
Biblical literate ones note current similarities of the malevolent Old Testament couple Ahab (1 Kings 16:30) and his conniving Queen Jezebel (2 Kings 9:30) during which period culture of pre-Messiah Israel took a bad turn. About a 2 year period.
Our modern Ahab & Jezebel; AKA Bill and Hil, likewise soiled American culture over 25 years, approximate time from Arkansas State House to end of Hil’s time in US Government. Done in by the modern Jehu, a similarly coarse personage. Unfortunate Barry Obama has been too close and his record has some Clinton stink.
Trump, the modern Jehu, is not a “Godly man”; he is modern example of a “God’s man” raised up in a timely way to arrest a Covenant Nations’ decline- -against all odds. See Jehu sprinkled thru 1 & 2 Kings in the Old Testament lexicon. Not a nice guy. His function was to end the Ahab Dynasty. Trump’s purpose in our time has been a stumbling block for the Clinton Dynasty and making crooked ways straight even as he is not a “nice guy”. History does reflect…..
Comment on the Ahab-Jezebel/Bill-Hillary sagas should note 25 year period similarity in these corrupt power couples’ evil influence.
And as Earl downs that white hot, tall cool Boilermaker, Merle Haggard’s “That’s the Way Love Goes”, plays on the jukebox.

Hitlary hates all people who stand up and speak the truth.
In a recent picture I saw of her at a Gutsy Women book signing, Hitlary looks like she is morphing into Jabba the Hutt!
“Now, politics is about lying, so lying about past positions, even if those positions were held just an hour ago, is nothing new. The game is to attack an opponent for their lack of purity at the moment, thus elevating yourself. When Hillary Clinton attacked Gabbard as a Russian asset, it was about trying to rehabilitate Clinton, at the expense of Gabbard, not about the facts as presented. Clinton is worried that the investigation into her 2016 election shenanigans may leave her holding the bag.
That’s something even the naivest legacy person can grasp. It is the conduct of the media that is the tell. Instead of pointing out that Gabbard is saying the same thing all of the Democrats, including Barak Obama, said during the Bush years, they are piling on the Syria issue.”

I have a nice bottle of Dom chilling in the back of the fridge just waiting for the hammer of Justice to come down on Hillary Clinton!
Maybe by New Years 2019? 2020??
They have to get Trump before the election to prove that he is unfit for the office and 2016 was a mistake and Hillary actually won.

How the heck did one person get so much power in this country?
Where’s the evidence of her ‘power’ JohnAZ? She’s washed up.

chris martensens blog notes,
Four dead in Bangladesh riot over offensive Facebook post (Sparky1)
Police said they had no plans to apply deadly force as the protest was calm at first, but some in the crowd became violent and started to throw stones and bricks at officers.
“There was some construction work going on nearby, so there were a lot of bricks. They were throwing the bricks at us. We locked ourselves in a room (in a nearby compound),” Ehsanullah said.
Jeez
There’s riots going on everywhere
Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, Bangladesh, London, Barcelona, Hong Kong … and probably a few places we don’t know about.
That disturbance in Mexico was a humdinger, cartel gunmen engaged and actually defeated Mexican police and elements of the Mexican army. That doesn’t bode well for the future of civilization.

I hear the Kurds are throwing potatoes at our retreating soldiers in northeastern Syria.
Of course they are not “coming home”. They are just being deployed to Iraq.
The Yazidi’s are a subset of the Kurds (reportedly soft on Satan). The worst thing you can throw at them is lettuce. No kidding, https://www.nytimes.com/2003/01/03/world/bashiqa-journal-a-sect-shuns-lettuce-and-gives-the-devil-his-due.html
Are you sure? The Kurds are an ethnic group. The Yazidis are a religious ethnic group. Same except for the religion?
Nobody is sure about anything regarding the Yazidi (except that lettuce throwing is a serious provocation) This is what wikipedia says:
“…their exact origin is a matter of dispute among scholars, even among the community itself as well as among Kurds, whether they are ethnically Kurds or form a distinct ethnic group.
Some modern Yazidis identify as a subset of the Kurdish people while others identify as a separate ethno-religious group. According to Armenian anthropologist Levon Abrahamian, Yazidis generally believe that Muslim Kurds betrayed Yazidism by converting to Islam, while Yazidis remained faithful to the religion of their ancestors.
Do you suppose the Turkish Army has a canon which can fire an entire caesar salad; they call it the Yazidi Buster?
I thought they were in Kentucky. MSM told me so.
Interesting question.
Since Korea, the war that has never ended, all America’s wars have a common denominator.
We never win, because we do not define victory, we just leave after 10- 20 years. Is this a direct result of the Deep State MIC?
Trump is facing the same problem we faced at the end of Viet Nam. How many more lives and capital outlays for what return?
Are we consigned to keeping our people in places to keep them stabilized? Is that a function of US policy? Just who do we think we are. How long before the public says no more?
Current example
The Kurds. Yes, they joined us is cleaning up a mess in Syria and Iraq, ISIS. We were supposed to be training them to be able to protect themselves, we armed them, why is it that when 50 or so people leave, they collapse and the Deep State blames it all on Trump.
We fight next to someone against a common foe and we are obligated to protect them forever? What a crock.
If that is what is the way it will be, let us just make Afghanistan the 51st State, Iraq the 52nd, Syria the 53rd and so on. Put our troops in there permanently and expand our military to accomplish such world domination.
No? Then STFU when Trump wants to pull out of these military quagmires the previous administrations have gotten us into.
Tulsi, do I hear you?
Simply the presence of American troops in the area that Turkey invaded, was enough to keep them out. It had nothing to do with the quantity of troops posted there. You always seem to operate with incomplete information, is that intentional? Upon reflection, I guess it would be, for a Trump apologist.
Congratulations. In your anti-Trump uproar, you missed the entire meaning of my post. And I notice in your uproar that you have no answers to the problems of unending war zones.
I apologize for missing the meaning of your post. Will you please explain it so that even I can understand what you meant? As far as the second part of your remarks, I never claimed to have an answer to the problems. I will repeat, however, that what Trump did was a betrayal of the Kurds. I heard that Trump had all our troops declared to be afflicted with bone spurs, and in need of immediate pullout. Apparently he’s even chickenshit when he’s there by proxy huh?
Your hatred of Trump makes you sound smaller than I think you are. My message was, if we get into these wars without an idea of what victory is, how do we get out. Remember the withdrawal from VietNam, a political fiasco at the time. This is no different. If you were around at the time, did you feel the US betrayed S. Vietnam? As I remember, all the liberals were declaring victory.
No matter what Trump does, some hater is going to criticize him.
Are you a fan of the MIC?
Getting into wars without a clear definition and plan to get back out has been a problem for as long as I can remember. The first one that comes to mind is Iraq, the effects of that are still reverberating today. Many argue that it triggered everything that has happened since, and I can’t disagree with that. My dislike of Trump stems from the fact that he wasn’t man enough to step up to the plate when his number was called for the military. You know as well as I do that he was just one of many rich kids, whose parent’s connections kept them out of the service, the same way now that their parents buy their way into elite universities.
In my mind, Trump embodies everything that I find disgusting in a human being. As a supporter, I don’t expect you to feel that way at all. My biggest problem is that I can’t lie to myself when someone I have supported turns out to be a crook, or whatever. I have noticed that many people, however, on both sides of the spectrum, suffer from what is known as cognitive dissonance. They simply skip over unpleasant facts, or deny their existence. I can’t do that. I look at the evidence, and if it appears to be true, I change my thinking accordingly.
What I see happening is that Trump supporters either ignore what he has done, try to put a spin on it, or minimize it. You don’t seem to have any problem finding fault with Obama for example. If Obama had behaved the way Trump has, or done the things Trump has, you would have been howling for his head. And frankly, so would I, and I voted for him both times & I think he screwed us.
But you people won’t do that. You are being dishonest about what Trump has been doing, because you are committed to believing in him. He could get caught tomorrow, buried to the hilt in a great dane, and you’d find an excuse or a way out for him.
Excuses are handy. Have you ever listened to a phone call where a collector for a loan shark has been taped talking to somebody who owes a debt? You hear them saying stuff like: “Please, I’m begging you, pay the bill.” “I’m down on my knees here, pleading, please pay the bill.” Now the reason he does that is so that when he goes and breaks both the guys legs for not paying, he has justified it already in his own mind. “Hey, I called him, I begged him, he didn’t pay, so I hadda break his legs.” I see people on both sides playing those same head games on themselves.
Like I’ve said, if Obama had done one tenth of what Trump has been reported to have done, I guarantee you & others would have been howling for his head. You don’t see that, but I know damn well that there a few others on here who see it, and are well aware of what I’m talking about. I don’t know what the MIC is.
I respect your opinion. The difference between us stems from the fact that I believe that Trump was the better choice of the two candidates. I do not believe much of what the very biased media has written about him, the list of falsehoods just keeps growing. HRC is really showing how unbalanced she is, attacking her own folks.
MIC the military industrial complex the hawkish DC contingent who have never found a war they do not like.
Ask yourself, what would happen if the US pulled out everywhere.
To us, I mean.
Captain Talking Point coming on strong.
Tell us, who supplied the remnants of Al Quaida and the loosely organized Salafist groups that became ISIS?
How did the mysterious ISIS end up with mass quantities of US TOW anti-tank missiles and shiny new Toyota trucks emblazoned with graphics for US landscaping companies?
How did this group mature into a fighting force that took over most of Assad’s Syria until the Russians came in and wiped them out?
What superpower was hell bent on wiping out Assad?
Tell us, Captain.
I guess you guys have all day to do this stuff. Find somebody else who doesn’t mind wasting his time arguing, it gets you exactly nowhere.
See you next time, Cap.
It’s a great feeling though, huh?
“Perhaps something new will organize around the stalwart Tulsi G. She is not alone out there.”
Bravo, bravo MonAmie and you heard it here first! Hillary Rodan Clinton will not cease from being a serious, threatening problem for the world until she is no longer a part of it. I only hope that I live longer than she does (being 65-1/2 it is mathematically probable) so that I may enjoy the huge void in the cloud of evil that encompasses this nation while she yet lives.
Go get ’em Major Gabbard, we have waited long and impatiently for the appearance of a human of such character as you so possess! Well done!!!
When Hillary finally moves on to the great beyond, I wonder if she’ll have the same six funerals that McCain had?!
That’ll be a real “tell” to see all of those who “supported her” sitting in the pews.
My guess is that all of them, including Bill will not show up to mourn her, but simply to make sure she is dead. Sort of like the Munchkins if you know what I mean….

Reading up on Tulsi Gabbard, I find she is the first Hindu to be elected to Congress.
Hmm.
According to Wikipedia, as a Hindu, “Tulsi follows Gaudiya Vaishnavism, a religious movement founded by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in the 16th century. Gabbard describes herself as a karma yogi. She values the Bhagavad Gita as a spiritual guide, and used it when she took the oath of office in 2013.”
Vaishnavism means “the worship of Krishna.”
Tulsi is a Krishna?
The focus of Gaudiya Vaishnavism is the devotional worship of Radha and Krishna. Most popularly, this worship takes the form of singing Radha and Krishna’s holy names, such as “Hare”, “Krishna” and “Rama”, most commonly in the form of the
Hare Krishna mantra. (Wikipedia)
Gaudiya Vaishnavism is the spiritual and philosophical foundation of the Hare Krishna Movement. (Wikipedia)
BTW, I remember reading somewhere that when Krishna Guru, A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada got off the boat and was panhandling in a New York neighborhood, he heard a woman shouting through an open second story window “Hurry Kirshner! Ram it! Ram it! Hurry! Hurry!” And that’s how the International Society for Krishna Consciousness was born.?
I should mention here, I chant in Sanskrit but am not a follower of any disorganized religion.
I like Tulsi and admire her brass-titted chutzpah, but I don’t think we need a Krishna critter in the white house. Nah.
The Huffington Post did a piece a while back, on Tulsi and the cult rumors:
https://www.huffpost.com/entry/tulsi-gabbard-krishna-cult-rumors_n_6879588
Ever hear of separation of church and state? Where’s that embrace of diversity that we are all supposed to be striving to achieve? Barry Obama was a Muslim/Christian/whatever he was and we all still survived his reign (barely).
Interesting. There was a Larry Kirshner who was a year ahead of me in high school. i wonder if he was the same Kirshner as in the story, wihch is so bizarre it has to be factual. I mean, who could make that up?
She is just another anti 2nd ammendment prog. Nothing more need be said.
Yes, she grew up in a break away sect from the Hare Krishna movement. But she has already betrayed it by renouncing and apologizing for her anti-abortion stance. Prabhupad would never countenance this.
That’s not good. If Tulsi is with The Hare Krishna’s there will be no end to her asking us for more money. At least Trump just prints up what he needs.
I’m thinking that was one of your nascent ate pts at irony, or at least I hope so.
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Hare Rama, Hare, Hare…
Feel the beat. I’m ordering my orange robe from Amazon today to get ready for President Gabbard’s inaugural street dance.
Another “gate” scandal waiting to appear is
Caucusgate, growing out of the facts about the much anticipated Iowa Caucuses. The caucus system is an inefficient, corrupt, and very stupid way to run a primary.
Here are some texts I participated in recently:
===================================
From a Warren operative–
Hi Bryan! It’s Caroline w/Warren for President in IA. Are you planning on supporting Elizabeth in the upcoming Iowa Caucuses on Februry 3, 2020? [My name is not Bryan. I don’t know wheere they got that.]
My reply–
I support democracy, therefore I am boycotting the Iowa Caucuses. They have no secret ballot, the vote counting is dysfunctional, the vote counts are not announced at the caucus or in news reporting, and in 2016 the chair tried to manipulate the vote. The Democratic Party should be ashamed of the caucus system and should abolish
it.
Caroline’s reply–
I know the process can be frustrating. We’re working with the IDP to make sure it is as streamlined, efficient, and fair as possible this year. if you were caucusing, would Elizabeth be your first choice?
====================================================
I have not yet answered Carolin’es question, but I think my first choice would be Gabbard. with Warren second. But Caroline calls the caucus process “frustrating”. No, it’s corrupt beyond redemption and should be replaced by a primary election with a secret ballot.
In our precinct in 2016, the chair tried to tell us that we ought to have a certain number of viable candidates–she tried to tell us how to vote, in other words. Then, it appeared to my wife and I that there were more voters for Sanders than for Hillary, but it was announced that Hillary was the winner in our precinct. The vote totals were never announced.
The MSM like to give the impression that the Iowa Caucuses are a warm and fuzzy, feel-good example of grass-roots democracy in action. Kind of like a New England town meeting. Don’t be fooled. If you are watching the news on Feb. 3, what you are seeing as the caucus results come in is just another example of Democratic Party corruption.
The Republican caucuses are only slightly better. There is some kind of secret ballot, but there have been serious problems with the vote counting.
The Iowa caucuses are too caucasian sounding. They should call them “the blaucuses”
I may be kidding, but just wait until Maxine Waters hears the idea.
I also think any Democratic candidate legally changing his name to “None of the Above” could go to the convention with a hefty delegate count.
Good initial response.
For your second response, tell her you are voting Trump.
To say that both parties are utterly discredited is to state the blindingly obvious, the Republican party further on the road to dissolution than its competitor.
It may be called Republican, and there may be some traditionalists holding out in traditional Republican hinterlands, true believers in the age-old beliefs, but they may as well be devotees of Jupiter or Odin.
Folk aren’t going to Jupiter’s temple anymore, they’re going to that place with the crucifix in prominent display. And the Republican rank-and-file no longer adhere to austere Republican pieties. Those ideas were long ago found wanting, and all it took was for a New York City liberal and libertine to suggest something different and get an audience. So ironic, a degenerate from the second most degenerate place on Earth after LA. Who’d a thunk it?
Nope, instead the faithful have a new faith, going to stadium services presided over by a new High Priest, that same libertine degenerate (and multiple bankrupt), preaching revolution in semi-coherent sentences.
Now, you could have done much better than vote for the 2016 winner, but there had to be better offerings to vote for and there weren’t. But you couldn’t do much worse than abide by the nonsensical ideology of self-harm that prevailed until then.
The funny thing is, Democrat elites and office holders, for all their preening and puffery and superiority, abide by the same nonsense. By that I mean that Bush I = Bill = Bush II = Obama. Differences in appearances maybe, yet the piece de resistance for virtue signalers delivered the same goods as his predecessors.
Too bad that Democrat voters aren’t as evolved. It took a long time for Deplorables to smarten up but, to their credit, they did. I wonder when Democrat voters smell the coffee. For people that consider themselves high above intellectually and morally, they’re sure taking an awful long time. Puzzling it is.
Loosely quoting TJ
When a government becomes so repressive (corrupted, my word), it is the responsibility, to duty of the people to replace it.
He was talking about England at the time, but it still applies today.
One thing that keeps power with the people is the balance of power in the Constitution. The jerks in DC have figured out how to override the people, by combining the two combatants so that no matter who the people vote for, they get the same results.
Then there was Trump. He must be destroyed to get us back on the uniparty pathway.
Another definition of the Deep State, and no I will not stop trying to make people aware of this evil empire.
Before you take any aktion, ask yourself
WWGD?
What Would Greta Do?
I’ll tell you what she would do
Shut it down!
Shut it all down!!
SHUT. IT. DOWN
Brh
That would be typical leftists thinking, not giving a thought to wider questions, like how do people make a living, I mean, if everything is shut down.
This reminds me of a news story I saw years ago, where an anti-fur and animal rights activist was really taking people to task in the far north in Alaska (and other places too) for trapping.
When asked what these people will do for a living he replied well not this.
The irony was so rich. Here was a guy wearing winter clothes made from synthetic fibers, which require an advanced industrial economy to produce, an economy that pollutes mightily and uses oodles of carbon-based energy sources. And he’s taking Eskimos and Indians to task for hunting and trapping?
The Eskimo’s should have clubbed him then said: “He looked like a baby seal to me”
“Save the dolphins! Save the seals! Save whatever is cute and squeals!” 😀
Tulsi hates Hillary worse than Greta hates the internal combustion engine.
“You have stolen my childhood; I hate you all!”
Thank you, Greta. Now shut up.
James, thanks as always for your wonderful imagery! It’s a soothing pick-me-up against the backdrop of our own wretched, crumbling Parliament.
A really good Boilermaker consists of one stiff shot of Wild Turkey poured into a cold pint of Sam Adam’s Autumn brew. We call that a depth charge, which is a prerequisite to any small town barroom catfight that might break out over who’s getting down with whoever’s man. Usually the action heats up around 11:00 PM, after enough depth charges have been downed, and ‘Free Bird’ has been played enough times.
Brh
A buddy and I were drinking boiler makers in a bar while waiting to go to a “Head East” concert.(you remember them they had one hit…”Never Been Any Reason”)
Woke up the next day, in the bar parking lot, with concert tickets still in my pocket and one hellacious hangover. We were dropping in shots of Yukon Jack. Looking back I don’t know how I made it through my twenties and thirties alive.
HE is still around? They were big in the mid west.
I assume “HE” is the lead guitarist? I do know the LG wrote that song. Yea you are right they were huge in the Midwest. They are from Illinois. Made a name playing all those late night clubs in the college towns.
.
In other parts (such as NZ), the shot of whiskey is dropped, whole & full, into the pint of beer. Thus, on downing the pint, (‘skulling it’ as in drinking in one long hit) the ‘depth charge’ can be detected within the liquid, rather than being mixed. It is, I believe, of Irish origin. Sounds about right.
…the shot GLASS…
Any drunk ever swallow the shot glass?
Probably! Not myself (as yet…)
I wonder what the impact of the digital age has on human development in general. Any thoughts?
It has stopped it.
Completely?
Yes.
Creativity is so markedly declined as evidenced by the repetition of everything in the entertainment industry.
Disney redoing all the cartoons, authors using ghost writers to write lousy plots, Marvel comics shoving the same characters down our throats, sci fi running out of ideas
Saturation of everything, computer special effects taking the place of actors, good acting disappearing due to computer dub ins and the special effects.
The sad thing is that the young people do not even realize their loss.
Great comment. By the way my question has little to do with JHKs post for today as I was confusing it with last Friday’s.
In the broader realm of culture outside the entertainment industry there is also what appears to be a general decline in creativity. When people forget how to respond to life in a creative way then we are, as a society, going down the drain.
Yeah, even Joker, which I hear is a damn good movie, supposedly has several elements in it that are cribbed from previous famous movies.
This is a half-truth.
You are referring to creativity in mainstream “art.” There is however, plenty of non-mainstream art /music that is quite creative — and worthwhile.
The mainstream operates on profit, and that is what kills creativity.
Well, as for the stuff about Elizabeth Warren, I think that 2016 really should have put paid to the notion that we should expect our politicians to be these plaster-saints. I suppose they might even be able to dig up something about Bernie Sanders if they tried hard enough. And if Warren does snag the Dem nom, are her fishy career-climbing behaviors really that much more reprehensible than The Donald’s blatant “Trump University” scam?
As for Joe Biden or maybe even Hillary Clinton getting the actual nomination in 2020? That’s what I see happening, as you can always count on the Democratic Party leadership to choose with gusto the very thing that guarantees they will shoot themselves in the foot. But if Hillary doesn’t throw her hat into the ring by Xmas Eve, I very much doubt that she will at any point after that.
Do you understand entrepreneurship? Entrepreneurs fail more than they succeed, but when they hit, big times. Restaurants are about 10% successful over the long term.
Trump getting hit for clothes lines, casinos, universities is probably because someone conned him and he did not understand enough not to be conned. Through it all he is still a billionaire, a success.
Yet when TU got hit with several lawsuits for being a scam, still he defended the whole operation. :-/
The funny thing is that higher education across America is a scam. For an average of $30,000 per year they brainwash these “young scholars” with social justice bullshit lessons. Then turn them loose with a diploma which qualifies them to clean the grease traps at McDonald’s. Biggest scam in history!
Many, plenty, of those $30k a year courses are in engineering, science, maths and technology. They’re not being ‘scammed’ I agree a degree in ‘gender studies’ is probably worthless in content. & applicability to a career, but at least they learned how to think, write an essay and drink plenty of cheap beer at the Sorority keggers.
Yeah…that billionaire thing. Can’t wait to see his tax returns.
Rachel Maddow had a copy of one return, and nearly cried on air when she read it.
It showed that Trump reported over $150 million in income that year and paid $5.3 million in federal income tax and $31 million.
Will these facts penetrate the bubble? Stay tuned …
Edit: 31 million [… in AMT].
🙂
Rachel Maddow cries a lot. Maybe she’s having problems at home with the wife.
Majella (see above)–
I like the term “maths”. It’s British, of course. In America, we just say “math”. But we say mathematics, not mathematic. So it’s logical that maths should be plural.
Indeed. I’m an English Speaker from a commonwealth colony, hence ‘maths’. I have to constantly fight off the dropped ‘I’ in words like ‘favour’ and ‘labour’ and the ‘z’ in the likes of ‘organise’. I usually give on to he red lines. Maybe I’ll give that up….
…the dropped ‘u’ …
A business failing is one thing, but a dickhead KILLING a business through blatant incompetence is quite another. To repeat the trick 5 plus times? Wow, what an entrepreneur…Daddy’s money to bail him out and leaving actual REAL small business NJ contractors he stiffed on the casinos in the lurch. Highly admirable.
Ha! It wasn’t a “university”, John. Please -your Trump-worship is almost emabarrassing…
It’s pretty funny to see all the big bad men here take on a 16 year old female with Aspergers Syndrome, oh yeah, she’s a foreigner too. Anyway, it’s very comforting to know that the menfolk of America know how to deal with the enemies of this country. Anyway, I know I sleep better at night. Great job, boys! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Watch yourself! She’s almost 17!
she is a pawn, aspergers or not,

What’s with the ‘one eye’ sign these climate fanatics like throw down?
The Joan of Arc of the climate extinction movement. Politicizing the weather, can you think of anything as goddam stupid and devious as that? Who buys into it? How far does your head have to be stuck up your ass to believe this sh#t? It seems like it’s the same professional malcontents on the streets chanting “Extinction” that were at the stop nuclear power and OWS aktions … anti world thugs with an axe to grind.
Brh
The “one eye’ has been used for a long time in occult symbolism. One very well researched article concludes:
“In short, this symbol represents the global elite and all of its agenda: The debasing of the human psyche, the promotion of satanism, the normalization mind control, the normalization of transhumanism, the blurring of genders and more. The ultimate goal: Straying the masses as far away as possible from Truth, health, and balance.”
https://vigilantcitizen.com/vc-resources/the-one-eye-sign-its-origins-and-occult-meaning/
Well, there it is hmuller,
thank for posting that.
I find Scandinavian accents funny. I can’t help myself. I find 16 year old brainwashed children speaking on global policy issues even funnier.
By the way, did you ever notice that in the movies and TV shows scary Viking raiders never speak with Scandinavian accents? It would make them instantly comical rather than ominous. Hollywood knows this, so don’t blame all that prejudice on me!
They are also never shown dipping into their containers of Copenhagen just before attacking the village. “Remember Olaf, kill all the MEN, and rape the WOMEN, keep repeating it to yourself.
Furthermore, in response to your earlier post; you can’t have it both ways, captain.
1) Here’s an authority on AGW to whom we must listen.
2) You can’t dispute or criticize her because she’s just a poor, little, semi-retarded child
Talking of having it both ways, hm:
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/sep/27/the-greta-thunberg-problem-so-many-men-freaking-out-about-the-tiny-swedish-climate-demon
I never said she was an authority on any thing, or that anybody should listen to her. She just has an opinion, like everybody else. As far as your dispute with her, I think the way to settle that, is a duel with each participant equipped with a bucket of frozen herring for throwing at a distance of no more than 6 feet apart. Go for it, kick that little retard’s ass.
Captain,
You have shamed me into silence. Except saying so, makes it not so. But how would you know I’m shamed if I say nothing? A conundrum or a paradox? I always get those two confused.
I believe that a conundrum is what you wear so your girlfriend doesn’t get pregnant.
He dun played himself.
Actually Captain it’s the Canadians who have dished out the harshest treatment of Greta. The first time she was challenged and called to account was in Calgary last week. As soon as a reporter asked her a few pointed questions her handlers threatened to call the police.
Brh
She put herself out there as a big girl and sounded like a moron.
They touted her as the second coming and put her out there.
She is angry at the world but should really just be angry at her two idiot parents.
“Uncomfortable History Channel”
Bloke in Joker Mask:
“Don’t you think that it’s’Really Weird’ that, at a time when the Army of Northern Virginia was beating-the-crap out of Lincoln’s feckless Union armies in the Eastern theater and Lincoln was literally pulling out his hair in frustration that his political career and place in the history books was going-down-the-toilet, the fact that Robert E. Lee freed his slaves in 1862 is basically relegated to an insignificant historical footnote?
At the time, Robert E. Lee was not just the commanding General of the Army of Northern Virginia, he was also the Moral Paragon of the South, a Moral Examplar in the Confucian sense. General Lee would have known that by freeing his slaves in 1862 that he was sending a strong message to his fellow Southerners that they should give up Slavery. Lee frowned upon Slavery, not so much because he cared about black people, but rather because of Slavery’s pernicious effect upon White people. But what can you do?: Primadonna white women, like Ulysses S. Grant’s Southern wife, Julia Grant, gotta have their servants? Somebody’s gotta do the work, and the house is too damn big for one person to do the cleaning and cut the grass and pluck dem chickens!
We’re taught the Party Line that the Southerners were fighting to keep their slaves. But clearly, given that Robert E. Lee freed his slaves in 1862, Lee wasn’t fighting to keep his slaves. In retrospect, General Lee was indeed a “Great Man”.
Only part of the South was trying to keep their slaves, their capital base. Today we would call them the elite.
The mystery of the Civil War is how did that elite conn the average southern Joe into fighting for them. Rights! Whatever that meant.
What would happen today if 30% of the stock market just disappeared? That is what the end of slavery was to the southern gentry, slaves were property. It put such a financial hit on the South that they did not recover from Reconstruction until the late 20th century.
The Uncomfortable History Channel:
The non-slave-owning Southerners were largely resentful and horrified by the Slave-owning Plantation Elites because of the miscegenation taking place on the Plantations. The poor White Southerners (read: the hillbillies in Tennessee and West Virginia) were horrified at a new race of people being born on the Plantations, a result of white and black mixing: light skinned black people, or “Negroes”. To a great extent, the US Civil War was driven by racism and the moral imperative to stop the miscegenation on the plantations.
“Why do you fight us, Johnny Reb?”
“Because you are down here.”
O I’m a good old rebel,
Now that’s just what I am.
For this “fair land of freedom”
I do not give a damn.
I’m glad I fit against it,
I only wish we’d won,
And I don’t want no pardon
For anything I done.
@JAZ “Today we would call them the elite.”
You got that right and they would all be mega slave holders spending big bux on anti-slavery credits to show how much against slavery they “really” are.
“That is what the end of slavery was to the southern gentry, slaves were property. It put such a financial hit on the South that they did not recover from Reconstruction until the late 20th century.”
In the UK, the slave owners were compensated for the loss of their slaves. It was the only way to get abolition through.
The British taxpayer only finished paying the interest on these payments to the slave-owning elite in…2015. History casts a long shadow.
In the meantime, those payments to the slave-owners kick started the factories in the industrial north and made fortunes.
It no doubt would have been cheaper to pay slave owners compensation than to pay for 4 years of civil war and all that property and human destruction. But we have your beloved Rothschild bankers in London to thank for that whole brouhaha.
Why would you think bankers were beloved to me, hm? Seriously? And I’m not even from England, let alone London.
Do I owe you reparations by proxy and association, perhaps, given that my ancestors’ incompetent representatives got into bed with an elephant after messing things up in Darien?
You lost me on that one????
That’s OK, hm, you can answer the one before instead. 🙂
You seemed to be apportioning blame, with the possessive pronoun suggesting some of it was due in my direction. At which point you lost me first.
What does Beto know about History? What a Scam! If I run into Beto, I’m going to rip his balls off.
Beto O’Rourke
@BetoORourke
If we know our county’s true history then, I believe, we can take the necessary steps to repair the damage done an
What does a God Damned, Ass Wipe Politician, like Beto, know about History? I’m going going to use a Bruce Lee “Enter the Dragon” Hong Kong Tiger Claw Kung Fu move to rip Beto’s balls off.
Beto is the kind of guy who just might give up his balls to show solidarity with the transgender crowd.
In any case they’ll be shot off when he comes like a Nazi in the night for our assault rifles.
@Pucker “rip Beto’s balls off.”
I doubt it. I don’t think the orbs in question exist.
“Enter the Dragon” – Isn’t this a Hong Kong Bruce Lee movie?
Confucianism enunciates the Moral importance of Reciprocity in human relationships. Maybe that’s why the C..cp is always giving the Americans “Dick”?
Speaking of “Dick”….
I recall many years ago during the horrifying George W. Bush, Jr. administration, Vice President “Take Off the Gloves” Dick Cheney went to China to lecture the Chinese about the virtues of democracy and the Rule of Law. You could tell that Cheney didn’t believe what he was saying. I wonder what Dick and the Chinese really said behind closed doors?
I like the part wherein the bloke confides that the Billionaires confide in him that “Democracy is dead, and the Chinese have the best system.” Hard to believe…. They are enamored with a system that can literally raze neighborhoods and relocate thousands of people and throw up bridges and buildings in a matter of days. They’re all insane….
If you’ve ever studied ancient Chinese History, there are a plethora of examples in which one weaker kingdom adopts a long decades long self-strengthening strategy in order to overcome and to conquer a competing neighboring Chinese kingdom. Today, the US is the target to be dominated by the C…c..p kingdom. In some ways, I would benefit if the Chinese crushed the US as I would be part of an intermediary compradore, overseer class. It’s a bit weird how the centuries old feudal mindset still predominates in China. The Chinese turned out to be a big fly in the ointment of Globalism.

“Trump Attacks Obama As He Spends 283 Years Of Presidential Salary On Taxpayer Funded Golf”
$113,200,000 to play golf, yet he ‘generously’ donates his $400K salary back to government departments. Wow.
Oh, shall we play that game?! Should we revisit the taxpayer money the Clinton’s and Obama’s spent on their “vacations”?
Who are you kidding! You don’t hate Trump because of money spent on vacations. You just plain hate him and nothing he does will ever be right in your opinion.
Read up on it, even Snopes. True!
The costs to transport that man are horrendous. Our lovely society making security necessary to that degree is BS, but it is a fact. Snopes pointed out that part of it is due to the cadre of folks required to respond to foreign threats.
In the realm of DC budgeting, his “vacations”, he is never on vacation, cost .0001% of the national budget. Maybe cut both Obama and him a little slack.
There’s a point of difference – when Trump heads off to one of his resorts for long weekend of golf, at say, Bedminster NJ, it’s not just the transport & security arrangements, the 30-odd cohort of SS, Marines & aides etc all get billed top rack-rate for their rooms at the Trump property. Obama’s golfing ‘vacations’ were usually at Air Bases…a lot less expensive.
Also, yet another promise broken:
“Back when he was just a reality-TV-star/businessman Trump had, after all, routinely criticized President Barack Obama for golfing, claiming it showed he wasn’t working hard. “I’m going to be working for you,” Trump said at a rally months before the 2016 election. “I’m not going to have time to go play golf.” “
The same thing was said about Grant by his critics, there’s nothing new here.
Truman was hammered about the amount of time he spent in Key West and the cost it entailed, and Ike took a lot of heat over all the golf he played at the course in Gettysburg.
Brh
Speaking of which, are these regular hillbilly Nuremberg rallies of his ‘campaigning’, which the taxpayer doesn’t get stuck for?
I see he flies AF1 to all these shindigs – is the Campaign paying for that? The various victim cities get stuck with local security bills, ’cause the invoices are simply ignored.
https://fortune.com/2019/06/15/trump-maga-rallies-bills/
Calling Trump supporters “hillbillies”? You sound just like Hillary and her “deplorables” insult. It must feel great to be so special, so superior to working class white people, so insufferably arrogant!
Keep it up. Your kind is so alienating you’ll never win over anyone to your side who isn’t there already.
Nuremberg rallies! That is complete and total overkill and you know it for a fact Majella. Time to go back to the drawing board.
‘That’s complete and total overkill’. Is it? Is it really?
What is the point of these obscenities? Does he describe his great vision? Does he elucidate on his policies? Does he map out a future for the nation?
No. He rants & raves, self-praises, smears his enemies and those who were once his allies but are now bleeding from between the ribs in their back, relitigates the 2016 election, over and over, and over again, demeans the Constitution -“phoney emolument clause” being the most recent insult, plays to the biases of his base, encourages their ignorance, brings on local politicians to kiss his arse, celebrities like Hannity to tell the crowd how wonderful he is, and then sells overpriced hats & tee-shirts, all made in China (or Mexico, or Bangladesh or Guatemala).
He’s nothing but a clown, though there’s very little to laugh about.
Do you actually think political rallies held by those politicians you like are fundamentally different? This shows again how biased and bent your thinking is, majella.
I agree with hmuller! How are any other politicians different in any significant way. I personally don’t care about bravado and braggadociousness but it all must be followed up with genuine care and concern. This is where I have my problem with Trump. Because you see Majella, he never went as far as I wanted him to go. I wanted him to seriously get the Wall built despite all odds. I wanted him to take out the entire Establishment and the rigged system the way he said he was going to. Those are my disappointments. Not his personality traits or campaign schwag.
hmuller:
‘ Do you actually think political rallies held by those politicians you like are fundamentally different? ‘
Absolutely. However , you’d never know it – you are too closed-minded to take the time to attend -or even watch on the idiot-box anybody else. You accuse me (yet again) of ‘hating’ Trump, but I don’t. I don’t ‘hate’ anybody. He’s a clown and the fully-invested adherents in here -such as you good self and Nightowj, are equally amusing.
SSL:
Those are my disappointments. Not his personality traits or campaign schwag.‘
But that’s his problem. All he EVER HAD was his braggadocio & swagger. He never had a chance at succeeding in delivering ANY of his ridiculous campaign ‘promises’.
He had no plan and when he was, to his dismay, actually elected, he had no clue what to do, and has been blundering all around the shop ever since, like a drunk uncle at Thanksgiving.
‘
Majella, you say that the political rallies of the politicians you like are absolutely different. But you don’t say how or why, just that I’m too stupid to understand. Boy, that’s a really compelling argument you make.
Next, maybe you will tell me your guys preach tolerance, goodness, and love; while Trump preaches hatred and bigotry. If you don’t understand by now the subjective nature of politics; if you believe in absolutes all lined up on your side; if you don’t understand how opinions and values can differ – you are far less intelligent than I assumed.
hmuller:
You accuse me of not saying how Trump’s hillbilly Nuremberg rallies differ from other politicians’ public meetings.
The only response is to repeat what I said at the outset:
“What is the point of these obscenities? Does he describe his great vision? Does he elucidate on his policies? Does he map out a future for the nation?
No. He rants & raves, self-praises, smears his enemies and those who were once his allies but are now bleeding from between the ribs in their back, relitigates the 2016 election, over and over, and over again, demeans the Constitution -“phoney emolument clause” being the most recent insult, plays to the biases of his base, encourages their ignorance, brings on local politicians to kiss his arse, celebrities like Hannity to tell the crowd how wonderful he is, and then sells overpriced hats & tee-shirts, all made in China (or Mexico, or Bangladesh or Guatemala).”
Maybe you ARE too stupid to get it, not that *I* ever said so…that was you.
hmuller:
I didn’t call you stupid. I said that I think you’re too closed-minded to bother taking in anyone else’s public pronouncements. I take that position because, based on most everything you say about Trump, you’ve already decided that no-one else is worth listening to.
You then start to wonder whether I cannot get the nuances of politics. Oh, I most assuredly do.
And, by the way, yes – Bernie Sanders does preach tolerance & love: look at his Red State support in 2015/16 & the more recent town halls where he actually changed Trumpistas’ minds with logic & reason.
And yes – Trump preaches hatred & bigotry and is little more than a playground bully, calling people names & talking utter, incoherent bullshit about how fabulous he is. Oh, please.
How come you haven’t seen throughh him yet, I ask again…
I’m too closed minded to believe your “public pronouncements”!?
Or are you too closed minded to understand my point of view?
You thunk value judgments are about objective truths and not subjective opinions, and you have tapped into the truth?
Oh please.
I would never expect you to see things my way, but it would be nice if you showed a tiny bit of courtesy and quits calling people names and blasting out childish insults.
Here’s the thing, hmuller. I’ve mentioned this once before (along time ago), but I’ve BEEN down the rabbit-hole in which you are currently lost.
I started with 9/11, then I learned all about the overarching cabal, the false taxation. The Sovereign Individual, The Admiralty Law binding is all, the ‘registration’ of us all ss assets/chattels of the State when were born, the Bohemian Grove Set, the Bilderbergers, the Illuminati, David Icke’s Reptilians running the planet, the Climate Hoax & Monkton, Farage & the anti EU movement, and then, after much patience from a very good friend, I suddenly realized how bat-shit crazy it all is. The scales fell from my eyes. Logic came back into focus.
So, you need to understand when I poo-poo you’d nutjob right wing insanity, I know EXACTLY what you’re talking about, and actually empathize with your derangement.
However, I do acknowledge that there are forces beyond our plebeian reach, driven by money, that determine the general direction of society.
I know 9/11 was an inside job, and it was these forces that orchestrated it, but I recognize ghat there’s nothing I can do about it. So, why get my tits in a tangle about it? It’s not worth the angst.
Still, id love to see one of you RWNJs have a similar epiphany. Leave yourself open to the possibility. For your own sake.
Majella, I’m not saying all conspiracy theories are true. How could they be, many contradict each other. And I’ve pretty much ruled out the flat earth theory. But some theories deserve an open mind and could have some truth to them
As you admit, there are some nefarious things going on beneath what gets reported in the MSM. It was going on long before Trump, so we can’t blame it all on him. Though, he may be involved, I haven’t discounted that,
There are many groups out there trying to direct the course of society and the division of wealth and power, sometimes co-operating, sometimes fighting like mafia families. Generally, they don’t publicly announce everything they do. So yes there is a role for “conspiracy analysis”. Separating truth from delusion is the challenge. I don’t always get it right, but I don’t think I’m 100% bananas.
hmuller:
“Majella, I’m not saying all conspiracy theories are true. How could they be, many contradict each other. And I’ve pretty much ruled out the flat earth theory. But some theories deserve an open mind and could have some truth to them”
But there’s a REAL problem with that position, hmuller. Given that there MAY be a grain of truth in any ‘great lie’, that grain of truth, which is then distorted and misrepresented for the purposes of deception (or self-deception), does not in any way legitimise the BS.
I’m pleased to read that you’ve ‘pretty much’ ruled out the flat earth theory…congratulations.
However, let’s say this particular nutjob theory is based on the premise that the Earth is ‘not a perfect sphere’ – ipso facto, it is flat. The ‘grain of truth’ is that the planet is NOT a perfect sphere, because it bulges at the equator – an ‘oblate spheroid’.
So, it seems you hold almost all the others as being ‘possible’ and/or ‘could have some truth in them’. Tell me, is there – even POTENTIALLY – “some truth” Icke’s Reptilian claims?
That would be pretty intellectually lazy, don’t you think?
You said you went to law school (though I surmise from that that you aren’t or weren’t in legal practice?) – I would have thought the critical thinking required to finish law school would stay with you over the intervening years, yet here you are – a purveyor of conspiracy theories and an unabashed apologist for Trump. Go figure.
Majella,
I didn’t say “all” conspiracy theories had some merit or a grain of truth; I said “some”.
Conspiracy theories are ideas. Every idea has to be evaluated on its own merits, just as people should be judged as individuals.
I think it’s the term “conspiracy theory” that creates such a knee-jerk reaction in many people. Anything labelled as such you equate to being automatically false and crazy. In fact, you probably have many ideas which qualify as conspiracy theories by other people’s definitions, except you call them “truths”. Don’t be blinded by labels. People often confuse labeling with establishing truth.
Is there some merit to David Icke’s reptilian theory? Well, many of the world’s elite act like ravenous, cold-hearted reptiles. So one could say they are metaphorically reptiles, if not physically and literally.
You think Trump is an orange baboon. Do you think that literally or metaphorically?
Are you familiar with Karl Jung and thinking in terms of myth, symbols and archetypes? Some things can be true in ways other than simple, physical, literal or historical – though one has to be precise in defining in what way you consider something true..
@JohnAZ
“Snotes”? WTF is that?
~toktomi~
Snopes.com
A fact finding site. Look it up.
More like an “alleged fact finding site” while in fact a deep state propaganda and disinformation site.
so much subtlety
hmuller:
“More like an “alleged fact finding site” while in fact a deep state propaganda and disinformation site.”
hm, your irrational fly is undone (again).
That’s the standard answer of the CT ‘community’ – “If it disagrees with our narrative it’s clearly part of the problem/is a deep state actor/is suppressing the truth”.
Can you not see how insane this line of thinking is?
Can you see how Snopes supports the globalist MSM narrative 100% of the time? Do you see how blind it is to always believe in what the authorities tell you?
“That’s the standard answer of the CT ‘community’ – “If it disagrees with our narrative it’s clearly part of the problem/is a deep state actor/is suppressing the truth”.
Can you not see how insane this line of thinking is?” -Majella
Most people will live their entire lives within the matrix of the mind controllers and never question why they think the way they do. Many will even scoff at the idea that there are institutions, think tanks, NGO’s which are dedicated to influencing public opinion. Try to lift the veil on controlled, permitted thought and you will immediately be ridiculed as a crazy conspiracy theorist.
Question Snopes? Absurd! Snopes is pure and true and brings us the absolute, unvarnished truth. No one pays them to tow the party line. That’s just crazy talk. If Snopes supports the globalist deep state narrative 100% of the time, it must be because that narrative is true.
This is the thinking of mental zombies.
I’m not claiming enlightenment, but at least I can see the propaganda, bullshit, and manipulation bombarding us – very deliberately controlled and funded by those in power.
hmuller – I’m not trying to kid anyone.
I find Trump to be extremely obnoxious, but I don’t “hate” him – he’s laughable is all, and I simply point to a select few instances of that laughable obnoxiousness.
It’d be a full-time job (something Trump has never had!) to keep a track of EVERY stupid, laughable obnoxious thing he says or does.
Trump never held a full-time job?!! Now I know you are delusional. He’s put in longer work hours all his life than you ever did – I’m sure.
And Trump accomplished far more in his pre-Presidential life than Bathhouse Barry from Chicago – community organizer, lifelong politician, taxpayer parasite, someone who never created any wealth but only spent other people’s money. Your hero and role model – how pathetic.
Really.? You’re a personal childhood friend and used to flip burgers with him through high school;? Have you forgotten that his father had him on a tax-scam ‘salary’ of several hundred thousand a year by the time he was eight? He’s never spend a day shovelling shit for a living. I bet you have. Why do you love this scam artist so much?
You have insulted and derided everyone who voted for or supports Trump. This makes you a source of division fomenting a new civil war and a hate speech criminal with victims in the scores of millions. If we followed the standards of your crowd, you would merit a lengthy prison term.
Hahahaaaa!
So, you’d throw out the 1st Amendment (along with that ‘phony’ emoluments clause)?
I know how it is for you, hmuller. It’s tough enough not having a Capital Letter to your name (having sold your family’s ‘e’ and carelessly lost your umlaut), but then to have that sinking feeling that accompanies that horrible moment when you realize you’ve given up your last shred of dignity defending that indefensible orange-faced lying clown…well of course you’d lash out like that -your Dear Leader sets you such a good example!
Trump spoke imprecisely (as he sometimes does). He didn’t mean the emoluments clause per se was phony, but rather it was being used, or rather misused, in a phony and cynical way against him. And I think you know that.
By the way, thanks for apologizing for 3 years of phony charges, lies, innuendos, and hearsay concerning the Russia-gate fraud. What’s that? You never apologized.
No, of course not, its just forget what doesn’t work and move on to the next batch of lies, false charges, and hearsay. Your inherent and tireless dishonesty makes you so predictable.
And I didn’t say anything about throwing out the first amendment. I pointed out where the SJW standards of your crowd would lead, if implemented to cover everyone, not just the people you want to strip of human dignity because they support “the orange clown”.
hmuller:
‘ By the way, thanks for apologizing for 3 years of phony charges, lies, innuendos, and hearsay concerning the Russia-gate fraud. What’s that? You never apologized.’
Oh, please….what’s to apologise for? What, exactly, did *I* do? The investigation uncovered corruption (Manafort et al) and whole series of instances of obstruction of justice. The Report remains the record and it will remain the Record.
hmuller:
‘Trump spoke imprecisely (as he sometimes does). He didn’t mean the emoluments clause per se was phony, but rather it was being used, or rather misused, in a phony and cynical way against him.‘
‘Spoke imprecisely’? Are you serious? He barely makes any sense these days. He just opens his trap and sticks a size14 shoe in it. Very consistent in that regard. I assume you watched the whole 70 minute gabfest he gave on TV ysterday? If you did, you must be wondering how you still take him seriously. Surely.
hmuller:
‘And I didn’t say anything about throwing out the first amendment. I pointed out where the SJW standards of your crowd would lead, if implemented to cover everyone, not just the people you want to strip of human dignity because they support “the orange clown”.
Oh! I get it…you were being ‘ironic’ As I’ve suggested elsewhere (though it wasn’t appreciated), if you want to do ‘funny ironically’ you should get some tips from capt spaulding. He’s got the art form down pat.
Yes, his endurance of the campaign trail absolutely amazed everyone, especially for a man his age. One is reminded of Gandhi, a racist who was proud of his military service in South Africa for the Crown against the Blacks.
Gandhi in his 70’s could out walk most young people.
hmuller:
‘(referring to Obama – sorry, you called him ‘Bathhouse Barry’ [very respectful of you]) Your hero and role model – how pathetic.’
Barack Obama is not my hero & role model – that’s Bernie Sanders. You’re trying to pull a Janos – telling me what I think & why I think it! Get off the grass!
In any event, Obama was a great president IN COMPARISON TO the current clown and the clown before Obama.
I guess, when we look back at the Presidents since Ike, with the exception of Jimmy Carter, there hasn’t been a truly honest person in the job. It’d be a nice change to have one for a couple of years and see what happens – Bernie & Tulsi 2020.
@majella
ROTFLOL you are dishing on Trump and in the same post say your hero is Bernie Sanders?
The guy so lazy he was booted from a hippy commune for wanting to talk and not work!
The guy who did not have a real job till he hit 40?
The guy that has sucked at the government teat his entire career?
Sorry but that is pathetic and Bernie is a sell out and a liar.
Maj reverts back to Drumpf Nazi!
In a few weeks, the pivot will be back to sexist. Then Russia.
No evidence to back the hyperbole, ofc.
The condition is inoperable.
*yawn*
All of these perspectives exist simultaneously…the flavour of the week is determined by which particular facet of his weakness is most on display at the time.
I do dub her, Maj the Simple.
Janos:
“I do dub her, Maj the Simple”
Geez. Really, Janos? Did you elevate yourself to Royalty when no-one was looking?
Thanks Majella, reading through your comments there is finally someone on here I agree with!! 🙂
hmuller – I didn’t refer to *my* ‘public pronouncements. Is your reading comprehension compromised? I was referring to what the non-Trump rally holders (viz Bernie) publicly speak about. Not themselves, not their perceived enemies, not about how conspiracies.
As to name-calling, that must be your reading comprehension impairment at work. Please list all the names I’ve called YOU. I’ll name-call Trump, but he’s a world-expert at the art. I’ll never match Fuckface von Clownstick in that!
How any of them get away with this is totally beyond me. Either you are working or you aren’t. Golf isn’t part of the job description. It really is heinous and profligate that tax payer money is spent in this manner. Its not like there is even anything to show for it. Not even new shoes! Just a silly game that is done and over with in the course of the day.
@SSL
“job description”, “now, that’s funny right there…” Moral indignation? Is that sci fi? Cuz it sure ain’t AI. Your algorithm is showing, dear.
~toktomi~
Algorhythms!!!!
No, it’s spelled algorithm. “A set of rules to be used in calculations, especially by a computer.”
Al Gore rhythms. Only I can translate SSL to the World.
LOL I was just having some fun sprawl but thank you for the definition. It actually did clarify something for me because I thought algorithms were equations. But I see they are actually rules pertaining to them. I guess if algorithms were equations then we could just call them equations and we wouldn’t have to say algorithms at all ?.
Oh Janos!
“Oh, Janos!”
Feeling a little viscous, SSL?
Haha, Majella, I was also thinking it sounded disturbingly orgasmic!
Golf is the Sport of Kings now. They do a lot of politics as they golf together. Surfing was the sport of Polynesian Kings. That really is more in line with our Dionysian Culture, but it’s not as conducive to discussions, perhaps.
Golf is dying out.
Country clubs closing up. Public golf courses being turned into suburban housing developments. As the population increases and grows poorer golf doesn’t have a chance.
I never ‘got’ golf.
the caddy carrying the bag, the golf cart going about.
Male bonding for feeble middle aged men.
however, I like the open space, despite the chemicals doused on it.
Not over this way. Here golf is a sport of the people as much as a sport of the rich. There are over 20 golf courses just in Edinburgh and you can see schoolkids carrying their clubs on the bus to play after school on the public courses.
Golf is gone. Many golf courses in San Diego are exactly as BRH described. They are being bought out and turned into huge blocks and walls of condos and apartments, several stories into the sky.
It would be more gratifying if they were used to grow something. Golf courses waste an awful lot of water in hot regions. Not a problem one tends to encounter in Scotland.
I recall reading years ago about farmers in southern Spain having their water use restricted during droughts while no such restrictions applied to golf courses. Because tourists.
Catfights can be thought of as a White Trash thang, altho there are plenty of catfights in the ghetto too. Usually it’s over a man, and in more cases than not, fueled by alcohol and crystal meth.
This Gabbard– Clinton catfight is a different animal altogether. I think Gabbard was taken by surprise, ambushed if you will. I can picture a half drunk Hillary Clinton, sitting in a darkened room at her house in Chappequa at about 2:00 am, empty boxes of cheap wine littering the floor around her, filled with rage and despair, muttering to herself “Gabbard, Trump, Sanders, Jill Stein, they’re all against me, they’ve always been against me. They’re Russian assets, they’re all Russian assets”. I’ll fix them. I’ll fix all of them.”
Then in a fit of lucidity she comes up with a plan (to get even) and what a plan.
Brh
Remember how she was too drunk to appear for a concession speech on election night (or any kind of address to her loyal supporters). But what do they matter to someone so psychopathic and narcissistic? Faceless drones and workers only live to honor the Queen Bee.
She is a total lunatic. Yes, there will be outbursts and unforced errors but much of the time she is calculating enough to slip through. Her and Bill have made it this far without significant problems so I doubt she is phased by any of this investigation talk. I believe she believes she will win in 2020. She lost in 2016 but says she won so even if she isn’t on the ballot in 2020 she will probably say that she won in spirit.
Don’t forget and there little dog too!
Someone should write a book about “Buddy” (August 7, 1997 – January 2, 2002), the Clinton dog who’s premature death was never fully investigated or explained. They could title it, “To Kill a Mocking Bird-dog” or maybe “The Dog Who Knew Too Much”.
Lol. Yep, Those dang’d Clinton’s will stop at nuttin’ to cover up their sick, reptilian dog-poop eatin’ addiction!
Reptilians don’t eat dog poop; they swallow rodents – sometimes big ones. That shows what you know!
Lol! You’re fecking SERIOUS about the Reptilians, aren’t you hmuller? And you seem to know a lot about them – where’d you get this stuff from? Have you been reading David Icke?
He’s actually intelligent and interesting Majella. You can’t be totally sure that the Clintons aren’t giant reptiles hiding their true appearances with perception altering brainwaves and skin suits when necessary. I mean there is a possibility…
I take a light hearted approach to conspiracy theories – mocking them and myself at times. It’s a form of graveyard humor. (But no, I don’t think the Clinton dog’s death leads down a rabbit hole. Their cat Socks on the other hand….)
The world is stranger than we realize. I could cite so many stories. Here’s one: It’s Alive, Scientists Create Mini Brains in Lab, Signs of Sentience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wL26SjoBBlo
CERN messing with trans-dimensional space, artificial intelligence, the Department of the Navy filing patents for anti-gravity ships powered by fusion reactors, animal and human DNA creating new creatures in the lab – it’s all too much for an old man to cope with!!!
And Toto too. The Wicked Queen threatened the little dog.
Speaking of which. First the Chinese came for our jobs, then they came for our soybeans and pork. Soon, they will come for our dogs. Yes, they’re eating the little mutts and loving it.
If Hillary were Queen, she would have already sent all our Canine-American friends to Chinese meat packing plants.

I really have NO WORDS for that ridiculous statement SSL. I hope GA sees it. She’s much more measured in her responses to complete idiocy. She’ll find some words….
Try to be nice, Majella. It might become a habit.
Please – explain to me how that post was ‘not nice’?
If that post is your definition of “nice”, you might be the unclaimed lovechild of Donald Trump, you have his manners.
I’m afraid on that particular post, Majella, words simply fail me.
But I do notice that such people who are laughed (or shamed in the case of Andrew Wakefield) out of the UK are so often welcomed into the bosom of the more barmy parts of the US.
Sometimes they even get to be so glamorous, once Americanised, they can marry a model. Which must be some sort of distraction, I suppose, from watching children all over the world start to die of measles again thanks so specifically to one’s own efforts.
Sorry, went a bit lateral there! I haven’t followed David Icke’s progression – didn’t even know originally that he’d migrated. He was known here as a total dingbat.
More on Tulsi, this from the well-grounded progressive, anti-Hillary/DNC writer, Matt Taibi.
It seems the intricacies of the chart of ‘warring factions’ on the left is as complex as that infographic of ‘who was fighting who in Syria’ or the other contemporaneous clusterfuck, Brexit & the British Parliament.

Very interesting article, thank you for sharing. So it seems pretty clear that the accusation of collusion with foreigners is being unleashed by those who actually are colluding with foreigners. Their goal appears to be the destruction of dissenting ideas and populist tendencies from both the Left and Right of the spectrum. Crowd control.
@SSL
Isn’t everybody colluding with everybody? I don’t find good guys vs bad guys much of a fun game anymore. It’s boring.
~toktomi~
I suppose everybody could potentially collude with everybody. But honestly, don’t some people collude more than others? Isn’t that how some make it all the way up to the top of the chain? Sure there is good fortune or luck or what have you. I can’t seem to find the formula for that :-). But I don’t think it accounts for everything. Now the good guys vs bad guys thing. Well, to be honest with you, that confuses me a lot. Sometimes bad people do bad things that make way for good things. Then again some good people do good things that make way for bad things. So all in all I understand what you mean. It’s not always clear what good or bad really is in some situations.
@ssl
“some people collude more than others?” No. Content is the key, not quantity.
Luck: “probability taken personally”.
bad people doing bad things blazing a trail for goodness – “just fucking dandy!” [carlin]
you understand what i mean? Theoretically, that is possible but only if you have identical neural connections as a result of an identical life which not even identical twins have. “Don’t tell me that you copy, soldier; repeat back to me your understanding of your orders.”
So, “it’s not always clear what good or bad really is [ever]”, eh? Hey, we may be reading the same page in this goofy story for just a moment but probably not. May I offer that morality is not a universally accepted set of righteous truths and behavioral mandates; morality is merely a personal code of conduct, unique to each individual – despite what the masses of tiny minds may insist to the contrary.
as usual, these are but personal opinions; your mileage may vary
~toktomi~
Ah, so we might be on the same page about some things some of the time. But one can never understand the other or others really because of different ways of thinking, different life experiences, and differing values. Was than a better copy sir!?
Women can be very viscous.
For example, Spock was a product of Human and Vulcan miscegenation, which left Spock conflicted. Spock’s match, “Caprin”, who didn’t want to marry Spock and who had been Fuck’n around with “Sven” used her logic to pit Spock and Kirk in a fight to the death as a ruse to get Sven, who couldn’t-give-a-shit about “Caprin”. Spock was so Horny that he almost kills Kirk, but Bones gives Kirk a drug that simulates death and thereby bowls the Vulcans a Chinaman.
What makes you think Sven didn’t want Caprin?
Caprin could have chosen Sven as the Challenger rather than Kirk, but she didn’t want to give Sven an opportunity to throw-in-the-towel.
Sven just wanted to marry Caprin so that she would pay off his student loans to attend Starfleet Academy.
That really is perverse, Puck. She didn’t want to risk Sven’s life facing the vicious Spock, a known hero with hybrid vigor.
Spock warned Sven after the ordeal, that having is often not as sweet as wanting made it seem. Or as Roy Masters said, Girl of my Dreams, you’re a nightmare of schemes. Caprin was basically any devious brown girl, anywhere. A PR like AOC!
” Or as Roy Masters said…”
Janos,
How we have fallen, from quoting the great Masters to quoting…the masters….
I thought you had nothing against Roy? He practices and teaches a form of 3rd Eye mediation. How do you know he is not a Master?
Are you holding dirt back from me? If so, I resent that….
Janos,
No, no dirt. He’s just a man, as imperfect as the next.
What a damning statement. Do tell, now and completely.
Janos,
Must I now stand and deliver? Some things are best whispered in less august venues, shadowy places of such reputation that you would lie to your mother if she asked of your attendance….
“Women can be very viscous.”
Only above certain temperatures.
better watch your cholesterol if you have high viscosity!
🙂
Lol. Thanks, Green Alba! I couldn’t come up with anything as succinct, so let it go…
It’s actually a compliment. Doesn’t it make you feel special when someone is stuck on you?
Are you quite sticky, SSL? Is it the delta humidity?
Oh please LOL! As if you don’t know anything about charming and mesmerizing. Here’s a crash course and a flashback. Take notes if you have too ;-).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4mtq5ypdRg
Lol! Ginger…I’ve known a few in my time…not my style. Is it your, SSL?
““Women can be very viscous.””
…God willing….
New Peanuts TV special:
“It’s a Tota…liter,,,ian Dystopia, Charlie Brown!”
Isn’t that the one where they euthanize Pigpen as an inferior, useless eater?
Apparently, the first heated swimming pool was built for the Roman Elite on the Esquiline Hill in Rome, which was part of an ancient Roman gentrification project in which a place that was formerly used for public crucifixions of criminals and miscreants was refurbished for the heated swimming pool and high end real estate by some ancient Roman real estate developer like Trump.
Do you remember the interview with the Millennial bloke who had the Summer job working as the swimming pool maintenance bloke for the Bush family? He said that Barbara Bush would literally freak out if the temperature of the pool wasn’t exactly 86 degrees Fahrenheit, and that he’d get scolded if the Old Lady Bush got into the pool and it was cold. They’re all insane….
Reptilians can’t stand the cold. It slows them down to a state of lethargy.
Having been christened a ‘species of reptile’ on here, hm, I have to say it’s good to have an excuse to be lazy sometimes.
The Dragon is also a national symbol of our bestest frenemy. It’s very interesting that the alleged enemies of Hillary are all Russian assets. After all, Russia’s economy is dwarfed by the economy of Texas. Not to say that the Bear couldn’t do serious damage obviously, but really, we all know the Dragon is the ascendant one. But most of the Elite, including the Clinton’s, don’t have much to say about China at all. Why no concerns about Chinese assets when there is proof they are burrowing their way through our society? I would just hate to think silence can be bought! I wonder how much cash the Clinton Foundation received from Chinese donors?
We all need to reject the Game of Thrones mentality that DC has foisted on the world since the end of WWII. We the People have no foreign enemies other than the ones who’ve set up shop permanently inside the beltway and its satellites.
I agree and I disagree. We do clearly have foreign enemies both culturally and militarily. The strongest ones most likely being the cultural ones, for now. That being said, I do agree with you that some of, and maybe most of, the “enemies of the people” are in Washington DC and throughout the entire government apparatus. The same enemies are also present in government throughout the world in my opinion. Actually they tend to amass at the top of everything whether its government or corporations or the big organized religions.
Typically nations fall from within before they are conquered from without. America could never have been conquered from without, so large and powerful were we and protected from other great powers by the Atlantic and the Pacific. But now, who knows? There are so many different agendas and ethnic groups, that we are scarcely a nation at all. Really just an economic zone at this point, like the European Union. And that is their goal for everyone, everywhere as a precursor to direct World Government.
It’s interesting that you mentioned economic zones. I just came across a video on youtube recently about something called the East African Union. I believe its 7 countries including Kenya and Tanzania. The goal of the union is greater political, economic, and military coordination and harmonization among the members. Sounds like their plans as you have described them are working in this instance!
Joker
In ancient polytheistic times, the prevailing nagging anxiety of society was that some sacrifice to the gods might be overlooked. Everyone played an important part in placating the gods. What is the prevailing anxiety of today? Anomie?
Apparently, the ancient Greeks got around to doing an audit of which sacrifices to the various gods had been overlooked over the years, and they discovered that if they made up the accumulated sacrificial debt that it would bankrupt the state. Do you remember the Stone Heads on Easter Island?
@Pucker
“prevailing anxiety today?”
Same thing, that some sacrifice to the gods might be overlooked and that consequently, the goodies will stop coming.

Tulsi Gabbard’s Clinton clash sparks speculation about her political future
Washington (CNN)Rep. Tulsi Gabbard’s clash with 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton has suddenly thrust her struggling 2020 presidential campaign into the spotlight.
The heated back-and-forth with Clinton, who said Gabbard was a favorite of the Russians and was being groomed for a third-party run, has also raised questions about Gabbard’s goal and future in Democratic politics.
The Hawaii Democrat is staring down an increasingly difficult path to the Democratic Party’s nomination. She has yet to qualify for the next debate in November and has spent all of the primary race so far at single digits in the polls. Back at home, she also faces the most formidable challenge to her House seat since she was elected in 2012.
******************
Gabbard needs to do the right thing and abandon the Dem party altogether. Sanders should have done so already in the aftermath of the rigged 2016 primary. The two party duopoly is terminally broken and needs to be taken down altogether after Trump wins in 2020. That’s also the key to dismantling the Wall Street funded Deep State and the MIC. You can’t beat these guys head on, you have to evaporate their support base from within by destroying the party system that owes them their allegiance.
2020 prediction: it will either be Warren or HRC, depending on whether Warren agrees to kiss the ring and pledge her complete and utter allegiance to HRC as a proxy, phony campaign promises notwithstanding (when will Americans ever learn?). Best of both worlds for the Queen Bee. Warren does all the heavy campaign lifting while HRC pulls strings behind the scenes as the defacto unelected Emperor. Biden might be allowed to reprise his VP role if he can remain sentient long enough, otherwise he’ll be hastily discarded alongside the road like so much fast food refuse. I’m surprised he lasted this long.
Needless to say, Sanders will be beat down by whatever means necessary should his campaign get any serious traction. All of which will ultimately be meaningless, as voters will intuit what’s going on and re-elect Trump in a relative landslide. Game over Dem party and before the end of Trump’s second term, very possibly the Republican party as well, as Trump turns his gun sights on them as the only remaining openly corrupt legacy party in town. And should the US dollar recede beneath the waves in the process of all this, it’s very likely that US.Gov headquartered in quaint old Washington DC will pass into the pages of history as well, albeit with a few violent flops around the dock as it goes through its death throes. It won’t be missed. The states and the world will all heave a huge collective sigh of relief and get back to business.
The Sun needs to set on the Elite basically. Hopefully Tulsi is not part of some palace intrigue and is genuinely against the grain. I think it is likely she is. The reality is though that the Clinton’s most likely do own the DNC. So Tulsi will never make it to the nomination. If she participates in it then she is doing the same thing Bernie did. He really hurt my feelings when he conceded to the Flying Lizard Queen. So that leaves us with DJT again. If he wants peace in his life he will have to crush them all if he wins re-election because they are ravenous wolves looking for blood and they really want him disappeared. Seth Rich was a person with feelings and thoughts and dreams too you know.
Tulsi is to the DNC what Trump is to the RNC. They both see the evil fomenting in their organizations which together forms the elective base of the Deep State.
Tulsi does not have the financial resources of Trump.
It may be the start of party reset I have been hoping for.
Time will tell.
Trump doesn’t ‘see the evil fomenting in th RNC’. He’s utterly blind to nuance and tone-deaf to his own inane braying & posturing. You give him too much credit.
You and the other apologists who see him as a flawed but essentially redeeming actor are simply kidding yourselves. He has always been a Democrat at heart and has lived a life of great privilege, thanks to his Daddy’s ability to make money.
He has no agenda other than to try to fill the great black hole at the center of his soul.
In 2004, he explored running for President. However, I surmise that TPTB in the Democratic circles were laughing quite hard and probably, some of them, to his face.
In 2016, he decided to use the Republican ticket because he figured (and even said so, it is reported) that the Republican electorate was full of people stupid enough to buy his cockamamie bullshit – “Build that Wall”, “Lock her up!”. He had the power of celebrity from his 3rd rate reality TV show & long-term name recognition following decades of blatant self-promotion based on objective lies.
Yes, he knocked over all the RNC candidates one by one. None of them took him seriously, for sure, until they couldn’t NOT. Now those same people are kissing his arse and licking his boots, compromising themselves at every turn – particularly obvious being Lindsay Graham. I’d say they were betraying their principles but they actually never had any to start with.
His Base reveled in the WWF style of the RNC Primary race and Trump’s Hillbilly Nuremberg-type rallies…finally, they had someone who was going to ‘stick it to the man’!
Only trouble is, he hasn’t ‘stuck it to the man’ and that leaves some, like SSL, extremely disappointed. However, the fault is NOT with Trump – he never had any intention of doing anything he promised…he really didn’t think he’d get elected and the Loser can make all the promises they like, without consequence.
Chickens, home, roost – it’s happening now before our eyes. I’m looking forward to seeing how he handles things when the impeachment vote sends him to the Senate for a ‘please explain’.
Your (the rabid Leftists) impeachment charade is a bridge too far.
Rabid, huh? Cheers, SSL. We will see. The actual evidence is PILING up. Trump aides are now testifying about his actual behaviour. They don’t want to do time for that Loser, or mortgage their lives to pay for lawyers to weasel-talk them into deeper doo-doo.
It’s amazing that you are so in to all of this extra legal, unconstitutional action. Many people can be paid to do dirty work. Does that make you somehow believe they have clean motives? Do you trust the Swamp or not? Sorry, Trump is no worse than anyone in DC and probably better than many. Your love of the political games that are actually resulting in the loss of the whatever is left of the Republic and Constitution is astounding.
You’re saying that the Constitution is being invoked to destroy the Constitution, which makes no sense at all.
Majella, would you say it’s impossible to invoke the law to break the law? How about police invoking the civil forfeiture laws to confiscate an old lady’s Cadillac, telling her they’ll plant drug in the trunk if she resists. This actually happened.
Law are misused every day by unscrupulous agents of the government. Cynically misusing the Constitution can be done. Please consult a law professor if this is too confusing for you. (By the way, I graduated law school.)
We have less than 4 months to go until the Iowa caucuses (which I have renamed “the blaucuses” in honor of my darker brethren.) Don’t you think the Democrats should focus on winning the office legitimately rather than tearing apart the country – pitting neighbor against neighbor – over the little time Trump has left?!
The actual evidence is PILING up. – Majella
At least you can make me laugh, little Maj. The evidence was piling up and up and up in the Russia-gate hoax. Then one day it all disappeared like so much smoke blown out of Rachel Maddow’s ass.
But let’s forget all that and move on to the next assemblage of bullshit charges. You people actually are so blinded by your hatred you can’t see how trivial and bogus this is.
Go to some working class bar in Indiana and convince everyone that Trump’s phone-call is the crime of the century. I know you’ve convinced yourself. And what a mighty mind of objective, logical thinking resides in that cranium!
hmuller – Wow. You were just recently asking me to ‘be nice’ and to stop ‘insulting everybody’. A bit two-faced of you there/
As to a working-class bar in Indiana – every single one of them has a vote. However, they won’t get any direct say on the impeachment proceedings.
As well, they’re probably suffering from the same Trump Delusional Syndrome you exhibit – blind faith in this fool of a man.
Apparently, House Republicans also “won’t get any direct say on the impeachment proceedings.” The Democrats are holding secret meetings in the basement which are just for them. Are you people trying to destroy this country? Are you so rabidly filled with hate you’ll burn down democracy to avoid a few more months of Trump? If so, you are evil to the core.
Just remember what goes around, comes around, and payback is a bitch.
god damn, people, does gabbard vs trump sound like marketing genius?
hint: NO
so, how to foment the left against the right? uhh, maybe warren vs trump? brandon smith called this one quite some months ago, i believe.
Maybe baby, I’ll have you
Maybe baby, you’ll be true
Maybe baby, I’ll have you for me
~toktomi~
A little Buddy Holly to brighten the day :-).
SSL – huh?
” He (Bernie) really hurt my feelings when he conceded to the Flying Lizard Queen”
Are you saying you were a Bernie supporter in 2016, and that you voted for Trump as the old ‘lesser of two weevils’ trope?
Not per se. Especially I didn’t like his stand on immigration and the border compared to what Trump presented. But he should have been the nominee.
..ok. So, the Wall is more important to you than the financial security of universal healthcare system, in which you – a single mum with young children – can be dure of medical care without ending up broke?
…and of course, Trump didn’t deliver in any case. A wasted vote? If Bernie’e HAD been the nominee, might you have considered him, on the balance of outcomes?
Well here is a big idea Majella. You are absolutely correct that anyone can easily go broke due to a medical issue or emergency in the current system. It’s a den of thieves. This is all accurate. But stop and think about it. Do you really believe things will ultimately change with universal healthcare? It won’t. What will change is the service which is already terrible. Rationing, long waits for procedures, essentially death panels will result from universal healthcare. Do you love the DMV? Do you really think the government knows how to run healthcare? Do you trust agencies in DC to make medical decisions for you and your family when to them you are a number? Please! What is needed is price controls and more localized, patient centered care.
And yes, a Wall is very important to me. I absolutely want my kids and myself to be safe from foreign criminals who are now allowed to roam the countryside with impunity. They can rape and murder people and then go hide in a sanctuary city where juries of traitors will set them free because they are victims of circumstance and really are the lifeblood of the country since we are only a “Nation of Immigrants” and nothing more. I wish you would really try to understand other viewpoints.
“Rationing, long waits for procedures, essentially death panels will result from universal healthcare. ”
Death panels!! Death panels!!!!!!! OMG. As someone in the middle of a series of standard and perfectly timely procedures for cancer in an er… ‘socialised’ system, can I just say please don’t talk nonsense?
So far:
Three sessions at local screening clinic.
Biopsy analysis.
Pre-op session at hospital.
Surgery.
Post-op consultation with surgeon.
Post-op consultation with oncologist.
CT scan.
To come:
Long preparatory session plus 15 radiotherapy treatments.
12-month consultation with oncologist already booked.
Annual scans (instead of 3-yearly) at hospital (rather than screening centre) for 10 years.
Five years of appropriate medication.
Out of pocket expenses: couple of taxis for early-morning appointments, otherwise the bus sufficed.
Paid for out of my taxes throughout my life. An excellent deal, to my mind. But you carry on flirting with bankruptcy if you enjoy the thrill.
And nothing to fill in apart from a consent form for surgery and radiotherapy. The money you guys pour down the drain on the parasitic layer round your ‘healthcare’ service makes sane people’s eyes bleed.
And EVERYBODY I’ve seen was charming, competent and keen to make sure I had every iota or relevant information.
SSL:
Why are you asking me to ‘really try to understand other viewpoints’?
I do understand but that doesn’t make your viewpoint any less uninformed or ridiculous. Based on what you have said here, it’s clear you have no idea what you’re talking about when it comes to socialised medicine. But how could you? Maybe a little reading wouldn’t go astray:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_with_universal_health_care
And what GA has described is actually the NORM in the civilised west.
Alba that is wonderful that you are receiving great care and the treatment you need. That is how it should be. Clearly you live in a majority White country with less corruption. Universal healthcare would be a wonderful thing but since you don’t live here you just don’t get it as to why it would most likely be a nightmare. As things stand now its a nightmare. The price of prescription drugs is outrageous if there aren’t generics. Unless you are bleeding to death or something out of hand you’ll be waiting in the emergency room for hours before you get treatment. Hospitals discharge patients as soon as possible and often before its the best time to do so. And I have heard that in Britain there are long waiting lists for even routine procedures so I must have heard wrong or perhaps that doesn’t pertain to Scotland.
Lets see some easy math.
Population of England 56 million ish.
Population of these Untied States 330 million plus another 40 million illegal aliens.
We have almost many illegal aliens as you have English subjects.
That is why single payer in America won’t work!
Not a Bernie supporter BUT I was pissed at the DNC for how they treated him.
I find Bernie repulsive and a fraud but he should have been the last DNC nominee.
I suspect that is the game plan. Spygate/FISA stuff drops prior and he is largely free to clean up and govern after 2020.
His presidency thus far has been a balancing act between exposing the coup and associated corruption in the Uniparty, and getting things done where he can (appointing judges, building a section of wall, and putting an end to neocon/lib nationbuilding).
There you go, ascribing talents & virtuous intent to a shameless grifter. Good luck with all that. And don’t hold your breath.
I don’t need luck. I observe carefully and am smarter than you.
No, you ‘read’ events through a biased filter and imagine your desirable outcome, then prophesy that. Your obvious intellectual superiority is most intimidating! I shrink in its shadow.
I could sell you oceanfront property in Idaho.
Ellipses
Sanders is not a member of the Democratic Party. He caucuses with the Dems as a Senator; that’s about it.
Brh
A Bernie/Tulsi or Tulsi/Bernie ticket in 2020 would probably crush Trump. If Hillary were (unlikely!!) to be a DNC nominee, then they maybe SHOULD go the third party route and might very well beat both of them.
Wow. Greg Gutfeild making sense on Fox!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STURQqhF-5c
Imagine Tulsi in Flyoverstan, telling Red Staters that not only has she SERVED – ‘just like you and your kids’- but she’d also told Hillary PUBLICLY – to ‘ go fuck yourself!’. I imagine that could get some traction, while Bernie ACTUALLY empathizes with their feeling of dislocation but has an actual PLAN to deliver on what matters most to them – universal healthcare, a live able wage and access to education without mortgaging ones future.
Oh joy, Santa Claus is coming to town.
The real issue is her stand on the second amendment and thus the fly over states won’t like her.
Bernie does not sell well either his terrible accent and penchant to promise free crap sticks in the craw of most fly over people.
When he speaks he sounds like an idiot.
A few years ago on the Disney created TV show “Once Upon A Time”, the Robin Hood character told a young boy, “When you steal for yourself, you’re a thief; but when you steal for other people, you’re a hero.”
The Bernie Sanders philosophy drilled into the heads of children. Stealing for others equals virtue. How about giving away what you’re rightfully earned equaling virtue? No it’s better to take other people’s stuff and give it away.
The world is going to hell.
Hmmm, given my natural attraction to “conspiracy theories” its difficult not to believe you despite your stated wish. The timing of it all is so strange to me. Warren, Sanders, Biden – they are all just not that inspiring anymore and they don’t seem to have the magic. Perfect segue to Hillary? Such powerful people in high places can’t be moved overnight. Most people will likely try to bargain and negotiate with them. Even DJT is dancing the dance with them at this point and you would think he wouldn’t need to. Or would he?
@ssl
“inspiring”?
If you are protoplasmic then you would have to be buying this shitty theatre production to be inspired or uninspired. Are there actually people who still believe in a god and a potus? Georgie, tell ’em. “OK. It’s all bullshit, folks, and it’s bad for ya!” The wachowski message was not bullshit – kinda funny that they were allowed to portray it.
These platitudes and paradigms of the masses drive me nuts. To my way of thinking, there might be one human construct worthy of belief; that would be the Constitution of the United States of America especially the Bill of Rights. As for the remainder of all cognitive associations, MAYBE. Junk food, politics, air fresheners, pesticide residues, pharmaceuticals, flu shots, parking lot stop signs, thank you, please, god, public schooling, and all the rest could not be any more dangerous.
Maybe.
~toktomi~
I agree. Most everything now is done only for appearance and not substance. Maybe this has always been the case? It could be that we as a culture care even more about appearances now because of 24/7 social media.
LIfe in a local town–
Our city has little crime, people are working, schools are good, great quality of life, and it is one of the best over all places in the country to live. But we just have too many white people. I got a great idea! How about we invite a bunch of blacks in? They seem like really good intelligent people in those TV commercials.
Drag Queen Story Time.
Strip clubs.
Street bums and winos.
Six foot black guys on the girls track team.
Junkies shooting dope in the park.
Car jackings.
Homeless camped out on the sidewalk.
Whore houses.
Street gangs and turf wars.
Pimps.
VD clinics.
Gay parades.
Streets covered with security cameras.
Drug dealers.
Cops patrolling the local high school.
Shoot outs at weddings, birthday parties and bake sales.
Peace marches to stop the violence.
Welfare breeders.
Home invasions.
Meth labs.
Ghettos.
People living in fear.
Crime.
Dead bodies on the street.
More funerals.
Flea bag motels filled with hookers.
Packs of wild dogs roaming the streets.
White flight.
Section 8 houses.
Midnight basketball.
Pizza drivers being robbed and shot.
Seniors being mugged and murdered.
County fair riots.
I think one reason for the rise of the security state/permanent Deep State, is a part of the elite’s reaction to what you are describing there.
It’s the story of an increasingly out of control population who needs greater & greater law enforcement and behavior modification run by more & more alphabet soup police agencies which regulate more facets of individual life in the US.
And the powers that be do not do anything about it.
Why?
Because they are in charge of it.
Moral indignation is passé. Evil is taking over.
Again!
They cannot stop any of this JAZ, without eliminating those that do the dirty deeds, so they profit off of it instead. Every criminal caught is a paying customer for a lawyer even if they have no money to pay because you and I will pay instead. The prisons are run for profit, and the law enforcement people as well as those that sell them their expensive gear and stuff all make out like bandits. The is too much profit in crime and too little profit in peace. But I know that you understand this.
Again? When was it ever otherwise?
Pottersville!
Who is saying you have too many white people, Malth?
I watch events in SAfrica as a sort of canary in the coal mine. The country is literally in a state of collapse — official unemployment stands at 29%, in reality at least 50% — but the smaller the white population gets, down to 7% now, the more they’re blamed for everything that is going wrong. There just aren’t enough whites left in the country to keep the power plants in repair, the water supply system working, bridges from falling down, air force jets flying, just about anything that makes a modern nation (which SA was until 30 years ago.) The place is a disaster, and its whiteys fault, even tho there aren’t that many white remaining and more are getting out all the time.
Brh
New Netflix movie about what Jessie does after slaughtering the Nazi meth dealers who kept him in a cage for months, only being let out to make meth.
It’s touted as a Breaking Bad Movie. Will there be more??? Damn Nazis are behind this social breakdown. They went into the Ghettos and pushed drugs on innocent Black kids. It was THEY (and not the Jews) who owned the Radio Networks and Record Labels and promulgated the Viscous Rap Music, even so as degrade the Nations. They hide behind the Chinese now in this regard as well. The Jews are innocent, completely. Of everything. That’s by definition. Just ask BRH or any Rabbi. They help people! Nazis hurt and Chinese hurt “people”! Poor buddy. The Clintons must be secret Nazis. Russians Nazis too. They hurt, also peoples.
who watches it gets what they deserve.
“The Jews are innocent, completely”
Janos,
I knew it!
China is making most of the fentanyl plaguing America and the West right now.
People have asked why China seems to do nothing about it.
100’000s of millions of dollars profit!
6,000 chemical plants scatter across China!
The best reason I have thought up to date the Opium wars!
China has a collective memory for past wrongs and they are still angry about the west pushing opium on them oh so long ago.
Payback and Karma is a bitch.
You are not the first to mention this.
You tube has some similar notions of ruining USA thru an opiod war.
Indeed there is no such thing as an original thought how ever I have not heard or read anyone else talking about it.
@malthuss
Well, let’s just be a whiny bitch.
Too bad that the pie is shrinking and the number of diners is increasing. Sharing is soon to be a virtual impossibility especially considering the dearth of empathy genes in the black and white populations – it’s why they made such an efficient team at one time. It was also at the root of the Neanderthal’s demise. Luckily for a few, the good H.sapiens as any good farmer would do, not only ate the beasts but occasionally fucked them too – hence, an empathy gene or two still in circulation in the world population.
cute story, eh?
~toktomi~
Too bad that the pie is shrinking and the number of diners is increasing.
–yes.
considering the dearth of empathy genes in the black / brown / yellow populations [fixed that].
It was also at the root of the Neanderthal’s demise.–proof?
@malthuss
I have no proof of anything and I know nothing.
All I have are stories.
I leave the truth for the little minds that seem to need those illusions.
Apparently, you’ve misplaced your dictionary and have spaced out on the meaning of the word, empathy. Aside: Have you ever wondered why white folks of early America needed to offshore their acquisition of slaves when the continent was teeming with potential property?
Do you ever tire of self-aggrandizing platitudes?
~toktomi~
who are you?
and who are you to sling such mud.
Ok so Neanderthals were more empathetic than modern people? Blacks have the least amount of Neanderthal genes while Whites and East Asians have the highest percentages of Neanderthal ancestry.
Malth – where is this 1950s Utopia in which you live?
..or is it ‘hypothetical’?
Peter Hitchens had a great talk about how the EU is the continuation of German aims by other means. You can watch his very insightful talk here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CNeDtZmpjU
I think he provides a very strong argument.
Even as the German people are replaced and bred out of existence by Turks and North African Muslims. Sorry pal, this isn’t the platform of National Socialism. This is on you people, the Victors, the Allies, the Capitalists/Communists. Try harder, ok?
Check Garret J Whites ‘manosphere’–hes making big money.
meh, Janos
Germans met their god on the Eastern front, and lost. Maybe you should be flying the Russian tricolor.
At least you’d been a winner, once in your life.
In other words, you admit I was right that Merkel’s Germany has nothing to do with Nationalism and National Socialism, but everything to do with Neo-Marxism, Corporatism, and Globalism. You’re not dumb, Pete, just ignorant and misled.
oi vey!
(facepalms) ha ha
Read a chronology of the Trump University litigation last night.
Discovered something.
If this is an example of what folks are clobbering Trump, they better look elsewhere.
A group approached Trump to create a real estate school and use his name. He wanted ownership of the school and had 93% of it.
He, and probably the group, opened for business in 2005 made some promotional advertising with Trump. The biggest fly in the ointment for Trump is that his participation was overstated in these promotions.
It went on well the first few years. Then 2008 hit and the bottom fell out of the real estate market. Payback on the schooling, which was expensive, fell off. People wanted their money back, and wanted a scapegoat.
Two groups in California sued for fraud to get their money back. New York attorney general sued because they used the University word without proper credentials and to represent a class action to recover money. Trump countersued the California people for defamation. The whole mess ended up in a New York courtroom with Judge Curiel, a known Trump adversary, presiding. Curiel threw out the defamation suit and finally got a $25 million dollar settlement that Trump said was a crock but running for President, he did not have time to address the suits properly.
The point here is during all this Trump was running for President and his political “friends” in New York were using this to “get Trump”. Curiel was probably biased as a reaction to the “Immigrants are bad guys” speech by Trump, as he was a descendent of immigrants from Mexico.
Evaluations by students showed a mixed bag, Many very positive and many not so much. It was not stated by the summary, but I would like t see if the negatives grew after the 2008 crash as many students paid up front for extended course content. And again, it was costly enough to really piss people off if they would get no return.
My conclusion is that it was the work of an entrepreneurial group opening a real estate school, over promoting with Trump’s name, having 2-3 good years. When the real estate market collapsed in 2008, the goodness of any real estate education collapsed. People sued to get their money back and as Trump was the owner, litigation was aimed at him.
It would be like the very foolish liberal arts college students today that do not get employment from their degree, sue the colleges for fraud because of their bad decisions.
Or people trading derivatives in Wall Street suing to get their money back when their market sector goes down.
Or Soros trying to get Trump in every way possible because the US economy took off when he had shorted it.
Risk is inherent to finances, you people using litigation to get their money back, take a pill.
The University changed its name per the New York suit and then closed in 2010. Litigation occurred in 2016.
‘Aye, there’s the rub’
“He wanted ownership of the school and had 93% of it.”
Let’s be fair – it was always a scam. In the property market in most large cities and even larger rural towns, a blind monkey could make money pre-2008. Anyone thinking they had to shell out $30,000 or more for ‘education in the real estate market’ was a sucker, and as we know there’s one born every minute. A much more sensible, effective and lower-cost way to get an education in real estate is to get a realtors license. All up, between $600 & $1,500, depending on which state you’re in.
https://www.kapre.com/resources/real-estate/how-to-become-a-real-estate-agent/
No doubt you’re right, though. Lots of these people were disillusioned and had overstretched themselves financially. But the USA is a nation of people with a sense of responsibility and will always find someone responsible. In this case, it was th 93% shareholder of what was a shady, if actually legal, business. Hard cheese.
I believe that this course was not a intro course to get into real estate, but a prestige getter on how to get better and really succeed in real estate.
My opinion is that a sign should have been put out, Suckers wanted.
Many of Trump U’s alumni said favorable things about the experience so as with all things political it depends on who you talk to.
2008 hit many folks hard so not surprising that paying 30000 for a course that provides little benefit.
Oops. I think we agreed, just then,JohnAZ.
toktomi–
Your screen name reminded me of something, so I looked it up.
The Tokomak device is an experimental hydrogen fusion reactor built in Russia that holds great promise for producing electricity relatively safely and cleanly.
Hydrogen fusion is our power source of the future, and probably always will be.
The Ramjets will suck in hydrogen from Space and siphon it directly into the Reactor. This is what will get us to the Stars. We look back and see the Earth literally on fire as our Arks tale us to Arcturus, Sirius, etc – homes of our godlike Ancestors.
The you tube ads I see are so bizarre.
the wise, helpful, serene Blacks.
The inter racial lesbians by a crib.
The ‘manly’ soap.
@sprawl
It’s a homophone.
“Hydrogen fusion is our power source of the future”. That’s what I believed for a number of years quite some time ago. Wouldn’t that be interesting? Heap another great huge quantity of energy into humanity’s bag of tricks. I reckon that we could finally turn this great Earth into a Mars.
No, I’m thinking, we, the unwashed masses, for the few fortunate enough to even be around, will be fortunate to possibly have the assistance of beasts of burden. It’s really odd at this late hour that still so few can recognize the last page of the last chapter even when it is followed by THE END in some fancy script font.
maybe
~toktomi~
Ha! Your post reminds me of a potential situation in the future.
People envision the Long Emergency in terms of what the 1800s were like ie before the automobile.
I picture Times Square and the logistics required to keep it
horses—t free . Folks do not consider in their visions the impact of the huge population growth. Can you imagine 325 million horses loping down the Interstate?
Can we burn horse manure like cow patties? Somehow we need to profit from horse crap.
Sorta like our elected officials do now.
@JohnAZ
“People envision the Long Emergency…”
Only those who have not researched the subject could possibly envision such an illogical scenario – little house on the prairie goes nuclear.
just shakin’ my head and bakin’ my bread,
~toktomi~
‘It’s a homophone’ = ‘talk to me’?
Hydrogen fusion is our energy of the past and present also. Just 93 million miles away.
Thanks, John.
I hope you all noticed that I said hydrogen fusion in reactors here on earth will always be in the future, meaning we will never be able to make it work, at least on a commercial scale.
I too am grateful for that gigantic fusion reactor in the sky.
For some reason ’40 years’ away’ was always the promise. It was 40 years’ away when I was 20 and 40 years’ away 40 years later. It seemed too good to be true even when I was 20.
Generally speaking, the Dept of the Navy does not play practical jokes on the patent office. So what’s up with this? I don’t know; you decide.
Navy Patents UFO-Like Compact Nuclear Fusion Reactor And Hybrid Space/Sea Crafts
A mysterious set of patents filed recently by a U.S Navy researcher has caught the eyes of technologists and conspiracy theorists alike.
These patents describe exotic technologies that do not exist in the commercial or military spheres—as far as we know—and that usually only surface in UFO lore, including high-energy electromagnetic force fields, revolutionary propulsion systems, and a “hybrid aerospace-underwater craft.”
The newest patent is for a practical fusion reactor that could be stored in aircraft to help achieve unimaginable speeds and maneuverability.
The mystery around these patents continues to grow during a time in which the Navy and State Department have stunningly reversed their decades-old policy of not acknowledging UFO sightings…
Perhaps the most surprising patent concerns the “hybrid aerospace-underwater craft,” which can supposedly navigate with equal precision through space, air, and water with no heat signature and “engineer the fabric of our reality at the most fundamental level.”
https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/navy-patents-ufo-compact-nuclear-fusion-reactor-and-hybrid-spacesea-crafts
My first reaction on reading that piece at Zero Hedge is that it’s a set-up to rustle some Chi-com spies out of the woodwork.
I’m curious where JK get’s his information. Most of what he writes is OPINION, yet everyone believes it as fact. I find many articles he writes interesting and smart, but others are just provocative and based on his own opinions. Curious if anybody on this site agrees with Impeachment of Trump?
The link below [ 7:57 PM ] will serve your curiosity, unless it is JHK specific.
That is because, in today’s political world of lying and deceit, there are no facts no truths.
…yet you assert many things as truth and decry the unpleasant and/or uncomfortable as false…
Most of what JK writes is grounded in verifiable fact.
Perhaps it’s time to put on your thinking cap.
All journalism now is opinion based,
As far as impeachment goes they can impeach a President for just about anything as it is a political process impeachment does not mean remove from office it is but the first step in the attempt.
I disagree with the process simply because you don’t like someone and also using any means to remove someone from office for the same.
If the Democrats attempt removal all hell will break loose and our political process will be devastated and I doubt from this point forward that any President will serve a full four or eight year term again.
Obama could and should have been impeached and thrown from office for the unaffordable care act and the lies needed to get that passed with zero votes from the other side.
Bush and Obama should have been removed from office for fast and furious.
The list of offences from former residents in the whitehouse is long and all of them could have been impeached and removed for something.
This is just pettiness and vindictiveness an all parties at this point.
The one take away people need to remember is that politicians in their nature need to keep the base whipped up about something.
Reuters
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange appeared confused at a London court hearing on Monday, struggling to recall his name and age in his first public appearance in months as he sought to fight his extradition to the United States.
Assange, 48, who spent seven years holed up in Ecuador’s embassy before he was dragged out in April, faces 18 counts in the United States including conspiring to hack government computers and violating an espionage law. He could spend decades in prison if convicted.
On Monday he appeared clean-shaven, without the long beard he had worn at his last public appearance in May, when he was sentenced to 50 weeks jail for skipping bail. He appeared in good health, with his white hair combed back and wearing a navy suit over a light blue sweater and white shirt.
But he mumbled and stuttered for several seconds as he gave his name and date of birth at the start of a preliminary hearing in the case.
When the judge asked him at the end of the hearing if he knew what was happening, he replied “not exactly”, complained about the conditions in jail, and said he was unable to “think properly”.
“I don’t understand how this is equitable,” he said. “I can’t research anything, I can’t access any of my writing. It’s very difficult where I am.”
Assange is being held in British jail pending the U.S. extradition, having served his sentence for skipping bail.
JS: He’s being tortured yet Trump does nothing for his friend and supporter. Why is he so afraid to come to the United States? Probably he knows things will only get worse….
Assange is a true hero and whistle blower, in contrast to that anonymous CIA saboteur the deep state infiltrated into the White House.
This is my one issue with Trump. It really isn’t clear what is happening in the Assange case.
What a simple world you have created for yourself, if there is only one issue you have with Trump.
What a sad world you live in that you hate someone who has done you no wrong so much.
Has the tangerine tornado sent you nasty tweet?
Maybe Majella is really Rosie O’Donnell.
@hmuller
Why don’t you fill us in on all of the issues.
Be sure to back your claims with evidence.
I feel so bad and sorry for him. Just another reason I would scream at Trump if I had the chance to. This is a true and real case where it would be very pertinent and relevant to scream in the most incredulous way “HOW DARE YOU!” Julian Assange is really a hero for anyone who desires any sort of society that has a free flow of information. Especially in the realm of politics and the uncovering of what politicians are actually doing behind the scenes. If you don’t support Assange then you don’t really support Democracy. And I see our resident Libs are nowhere to be found on this comment protecting their allegedly precious Democracy.
But I bet Bob “information wants to be free” White hates him.
Isn’t that so ironic! And his dream is thus crushed by his own silence.
“And I see our resident Libs are nowhere to be found on this comment protecting their allegedly precious Democracy.”
I do hope I’m not included in that since I’m not a ‘Lib’ in the sense you mean, but you probably don’t recall me warning in no uncertain terms that I wouldn’t want to be Julian Assange with a post-Brexit UK government desperate to do a trade deal with the US. I think I was right. It was never just about trade. Brexit is about political realignment with the US and that probably means with the bits of the US that you don’t like any more than I do. Assange will be a pawn. I said it months ago.
Much longer ago I heard someone (May? don’t remember) saying the UK wouldn’t hand Assange over to any country that used capital punishment. Haven’t heard that recently. What a surprise.
Maybe I’m becoming a conspiracy theorist.
BTW I’d say Assange would have been much safer with a Labour government in power. I’m not a fan of Jeremy Corbyn but I don’t think he’d be a pushover in the face of the US demanding extradition. Remember it was Harold Wilson as Labour PM who kept us out of the Vietnam war when under pressure from the US.
So when it happens, remember it was on this Tory government’s watch. The ones with the politics you approve of. The Tory party that’s been taken over by the neoliberal Brexit ideologues. They’re the ones who will hand over Assange. Law of unintended consequences.
Food for thought.
Def of lynching
Hanging a person by a mob without due process of law.
Whites, blacks, yellows. Reds have been lynched in the country over time, not just Blacks, Al Green you crybaby.
The absurdity of this Democratic joker is evident.
Trump’s analogy is accurate. Hanging (impeachment) by a mob (Power Democrats) without due process of law. The Dems do not even acknowledge the rule of law let alone the Constitution.
“Def of lynching
Hanging a person by a mob without due process of law.”
…Not in California before 2010….
I would expect each state to have their own definition….
Just another frenzied attempt to keep the tds fools whipped up into utter hysteria.
The weirdo, Bezos, is now a big Pentagon contractor to store all of the data and to supply everything else to the military. The Chinese basically nationalized Jack Ma’s Alibaba when it started to build out Cloud storage in China because the Chinese C..cp thought that it was too dangerous to let one person have all that data and control files on all of the Chinese officials. In the US, this does not seem to be a problem. They’re all insane. It will become the United States of Jeff Bezos…. Maybe that’s why they got rid of Jeffrey Epstein: Gathering control files the old fashioned way is so “Old School”? It’ll be a weird Dystopia….
It’s a bit of a dystopia now: If they don’t like what you have to say, then they just smear you as a “Russian Asset”. Sick….
It’s not new, of course, is it? The world has been full of pinko commie sympathizers for a long time.
I find it to be quite amusing. It appears that there are actually people who give a shit about such silliness.
to: Jim
Jim, would you ask your boss to ask his/her [its] boss to ask its boss to ask its boss to ask its boss to ask the bosses to get this shit show on the road? I’m tired of waiting and sick to death that the vast majority of online dialogue these days is from folks who don’t have any really good stories to tell. Jay Hansons, Perry Arnetts, and Scott Merediths they are not. You still have some good stories left in you but your followers are stuck in eating the paper glue.
~toktomi~
Wrap yr lil mind around this, Tok tommy,
98% white towns are bad and must be dragged down to the same level of misery and dysfunction as major and midsized cities all across America.
These are the types of towns HUD secretly buys houses in to import section 8 families, or where some church group starts importing Somalis/Syrians/Sudanese into.
They’re the type of towns that when the census reports end up on some affirmative action bureaucrat’s desk and they see it as a place to send ghetto rats from the projects to so they can have access to all those opportunities YT be keeping for himself.
Anytime the city you live in makes it onto one of those “Top 10 Cities To Live In” lists, it’s time to sell your house and move, because that is the start of the decline. The only good thing about it is that you can get top dollar for your property due to living in a flavor of the month town.
It’s a bit of a dystopia now: If they don’t like what you have to say, then they just smear you as a “Russian Asset”. Sick….
And then there’s this ethnic Irish flim flam man named “Robert” who calls himself “Beto” to try to trick low IQ Mexicans into thinking that he’s really Mexican. Beto won’t stand up for Tulsi Gabbard when Hillary and the DNC smear her as a “Russian Asset”, but he will run around trying to smear American history and traditions just to try to create a social media stink and publicity to get a few bucks that he can pocket for himself when his campaign inevitably goes tits.
Devastating – Jimmy Dore is from Chicago….
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kQtMHL9hLFs
I watched that, Very funny. Thanks.
I love Jimmy, but the surrealness in watching CNN call out Clinton for branding opponents Russian Agents after 3 years of fake fucking news nearly 24/7 is beyond the pale.
Nuke every CNN office on the globe, please.
Yeah, I think Hillary really pooped her Depends with this one.
The Silent Ones will begin squealing now.

I loved the line about “Like dumb people everywhere, she’s got a weakness for bizarre conspiracies – that’s the real Hillary Clinton”
Holy cow! I hope someone has a recorder going!
Seriously, serious Democrats need to dump her, she is too corrupted for American tastes.
Whatever happened to Jeffrey Epstein’s weird sex temple on Little St. James Island? Last week, I saw a bloke who resembled Jeffrey Epstein in [Asian city ], but with a slightly altered face and a haircut. They probably gave Epstein a face job and a new passport and a credit card? I wonder what his new name is? They’re all insane.
Its possible. He may be alive, in Israel.
They have been doing all kinds of work on the island for the past few years. Concrete mixers brought in, temple (appears to have been) remodeled.
There is a guy on Youtube who has been flying a drone over the compound and getting some very interesting images.
I found this at Breitbart, I dedicate tthis to Toktomi,
As a Vice President in my company I was required to go to a diversity conference in D.C. a couple of weeks ago, where over 400 companies were represented.
Of course the heads of this conference were all minorities which were mainly black women…which I have absolutely no problem with.
The problems came when the conference starts of with them saying, “WE are not on a mission to replace all white men…”.
By the end of the conference they laid out in very fine details how they planned on replacing ALL….and I mean ALL white men in the work place.
The hell bent nature they had at the end of the conference was scary as hell.
Now, the reason I tell you this story is to make the point when someone says they “are ” or “are not” going to do something…whatever they say take the opposite of that and that is what will be done.
Essentially they laid out several five year plans where they would phase out white men in C-suites of companies, and ONLY hire minorities and especially minorities that are women.
They know they can’t fight it while they are in their positions, so it is all about forcing and penalizing companies that do not hire these minorities once these positions open up.
They talked a lot about trannies and making sure they are the ones hired in these rolles.
They emphasized public shaming if by the end of the five years companies did not keep their promises of “diversity”.
The entire conference was around four hours (one of three events I went to on a weekend for work purposes in D.C.), and it was honestly pretty chilling. Most of the people that I ate dinner with that night all agreed it was anti-business, anti-American, and would cause a lot of trouble for companies.
But they still wouldn’t say Anti-White – and that is saddest and most chilling thing of all.
Perfect example of what I have been saying all along.
Our lovely immigrants and a good percentage of our Black population want no part of the current common culture of our country.
Assimilation is a bad word. Everyone seems to want their culture to dominate our country.
Immigration of people who do not want to be Americans, not Mexican-Americans, not Asian American and worst, not Afro-Americans need to be deported after a certain period of time. Any person or organization that preaches anti-American culture as potential citizens should be deported. Any green card holder that refuses to assimilate into American thought should be sent home. Any Muslim entering must swear allegiance to the Constitution over the Quran.
And most importantly, after the border is controlled building the wall, any merit based immigrant must pledge allegiance to American ideals and pledge to move into American culture, especially to learn English and teach their children English as a primary language. Without the immigrant “pledge of allegiance”, no one enters the country.
One big problem I see with this plan is if it was applied to all Americans, all the Democrats would be thrown out.
This is the sort of unsubstantiated crap Breitbart and its ilk is famous for feeding to its readership.Red meat that endorses and legitimises what the audience already holds as truth. Witness the slew of agreement below as proof.
IF there was such a conference at all, ever, I can imagine the sausage party where “Most of the people that I ate dinner with that night all agreed it was anti-business, anti-American, and would cause a lot of trouble for companies.”
(…or above)
How’s it going down in NZ?
With total populations of over well 3 billion, is it possible honored immigrants from Indonesia, China and India could someday soon displace round eyed Zeelanders and their disgusting white skin? Of course Chinese have no religion, but how many of your churches and chapels have been converted into Mosques, so far? At some point you may find yourselves in the same position as your cousins in South Africa, down to 5% of the population, but still being blamed for everything going wrong? Here’s the irony of the situation: the besieged people in SA are looking to places like New Zealand for salvation ha! Why are you here? Why are you not at home, trying to save your own country?
Brh
I heard Russia has offered sanctuary to the Boer farmers this morning on youtube!
That’s good news, SSL.
A few days ago I read a report of plane loads of Sudanese tribesmen being flown into Germany, on German military aircraft.
See the diff?
Brh
Got a link to that, brh? I’ve gone down to the bare bones with ‘Sudanese flown to Germany’ and I’m getting nowhere.
Thanks.
I mean I’m not doubting you or anything, brh, but it has to be said that you do have ‘previous’. 🙂
Another heckle from the back row. What a total plonker. You have zero idea about NZ and are apparently quite happy to display your ignorance in public.
As to RSA, a very sizeable number have relocated to NZ. People from anywhere can apply for residency if they meet the criteria related to skills shortages. For example, we have enough one-eyed ignorant RWNJs who were born there, so you wouldn’t get in, brh.
I’ve been to Tauranga twice and I must say the people were very nice. You Majella, not so much.
Apparently lefties are smarter than everybody.
‘Specially ones from outside the USA.
BRH
So, do you have the link to the story about the military planeloads of Sudanese tribesmen or did you, you know, make it up?
I’d be shocked, I tell you, shocked, brh. So I’m not going to believe it if you unless you force me. 🙂
I believe you Brh. It sounds like something that Angela Merkel would defintely allow. New Zealand likewise is welcoming an Islamic takeover at the moment but its easy to see that China will probably dominate that whole region in the long term.
SSL: Whew! Thanks Dog the Chinese are going to take us over – they’ll save us from the Muslim hordes!
Where do you GET this utter tripe from?
Retired Admiral William McRaven devoted the bulk of a New York Times op-ed to appropriating for himself the moral and hence political authority of generations of soldiers and sailors (pointedly, especially the female ones) who have sacrificed for America, for “the good and the right.” Then he gratuitously stated—citing no specifics, as if everyone already knows—that “President Trump seems to believe that all these qualities are unimportant or show weakness.”
McRaven concludes, “it is time for a new person in the Oval Office—Republican, Democrat or independent—the sooner, the better.” At the very least, McRaven called for impeachment ahead of an election, or perhaps for a coup, and pretended to do so on the military’s behalf. In fact, his was just one more voice from an establishment that has squandered the public’s trust, senses that it can no longer win elections honestly, and is pulling out all the stops.
It pretends to be trying to take down Donald Trump. In fact, it is trying to do something much bigger: Invalidate the votes of the “deplorables” who oppose them.
I suggest that the just response from self-respecting Americans to McRaven and others like him is: “Who the hell do you think you are?”
Consider the enormity of pretending to speak for past and present uniformed personnel. Given that the overwhelming majority of active-duty and retired armed service members voted for Trump in 2016, and that polls show they are likely to do so again, it’s a patent falsehood to insinuate the rank-and-file’s notion of “the good and the right” matches McRaven’s own.
McRaven’s essay merely, and dishonestly, adds to the united ruling class’s effort to attack Donald Trump outside of constitutional procedures by feeding the media’s production of innuendos.
Then consider a few of these notions of “good and right.” Following rules and the chain of command is high among them, especially for the military. Officers are supposed to obey superiors. That authority flows from the president. Why? Because only the president is elected by the whole people, and because the Constitution, which they are sworn to “uphold and defend,” says so. If officers cannot abide superiors, they are supposed to resign their commissions.
But McRaven and a host of senior officers do not resign. They subvert.
The Constitution prescribes all manner of procedures by which any and all who dissent from the president can counter him, including legislation, overriding vetoes, and impeachment. But McRaven’s essay merely, and dishonestly, adds to the united ruling class’s effort to attack Donald Trump outside of these constitutional procedures by feeding the media’s production of innuendos.
The Democratic Party pretends to be trying to impeach. But they know, since any Republican who joins them would be ending his career in elective politics (not, alas, in the establishment), that they have zero chance of removing Trump from office.
They hope, however, that the sheer weight of innuendos—regardless of how implausible—will turn the 2020 election because the media allows no contradiction. That is why they are conducting what they call an impeachment campaign via secret testimony, the content of which the public can know only through what the Democrats and the media say through selective leaking. This is the patent dishonesty to which the former admiral prostitutes himself.
Even as McRaven brays for removing the president, he pretends solicitude for “the republic.” But remember: the American republic is founded on the will of the people, expressed by elections. The foremost thing to keep in mind about what is happening in Washington is that it is, above all, an attempt to subordinate the will of the people, expressed in elections, to the will of the ruling class, expressed through its control of social and political institutions.
The American people’s proper and just reaction should be to remind the ruling class that as Alexander Hamilton said, “here, the people rule,” and hence pointedly to ask our would-be rulers what they have done that we should follow them?
McRaven really does speak for a substantial percentage of senior military officers. Their views are on display nightly on Fox News. It is time for the American people to realize that these, like their counterparts in the intelligence agencies, are no heroes.
If we ask what they have done for us that we should have confidence in them, we realize that these people have lost every war they have waged since 1945. Accommodating themselves to our corrupt ruling class, they have been happy enough to wage endless no-win wars which have killed as many Americans as did World War I. The current military dictionary has no entry for “victory.”
Most recently, thousands of Americans have been killed and maimed in Iraq and Afghanistan because senior officers did not object to the ruling class’s desire to use U.S. forces to settle foreign quarrels by operating in constantly replenished minefields. Living in minefields violates basic military common sense and ethics. But senior officers have prospered. Intertwined with the ruling class, they end their careers on defense contractors’ corporate boards and in villas on the golf course. Now, as part of the ruling class, they join in claiming a right to rule us deplorables regardless of elections. We can thank McRaven for making that clear.
This ex-draftee is inclined to salute them with the middle finger.

JS: What can I say? I agree. I don’t know much about all this, but those who do tend to make the wrong decisons. Now why is that? Knowledge is not Wisdom. If your career and/or sense of self is all about foreign adventures or selling weapons, your knowledge is going to tend in a corrupt direction. Thus the simple man or “Man of No Title” is often right – as long as he stays true to his true nature and commonsense. Only such a person can be trusted to do the right thing with such knowledge apples.
Mc Raven is just a member of the Deep State, that is all. They demand uniparty control to get the power to take over, which is their ultimate goal. A totalitarian state can not tolerate differing opinions or the vote to choose. That is the goal of the Deep State, the US being controlled by Washington, DC in a socialistic uniparty dictatorship.
What a fight it will be inside the uniparty to see who is going to be the boss.
Everybody get ready to lose your free choice.
Ah, but remember, the Deep State is not uniform in and of itself. As you have noted before, there are factions of the Deep State and they are often at odds. And we lost free choice a long time ago really.
The Deep State IS unified in one all important aspect.
Protection of the Deep State. When an enemy of the Deep State shows up, every political weapon is trained on him, you are witnessing it now. Differences become secondary.
Tulsi is becoming an “enemy” of the DeepState with her attacks on the corruption of HRC, it will be interesting to see what develops here.
The Deep State kills people.
Well that is true John. And they do so directly and maybe much more often indirectly as well.
It gladden my heart for this QM2 to say to McRaven
“Go f#kk yourself, Admiral”
Ah, that was sweet.

There seems to be ubiquitous data mining going on by algorithms? My boss recently entered the market to buy a property in [name of city] and then suddenly I’m now bombed with advertisements for [name of city] properties. They’ve gotcha-by-the-balls. Do you remember the DARPA commercials of the experimental warrior robots a couple of years ago in which the robots were all inept, feckless, and awkward? Not anymore…. Now, the robots can easily outperform Star athletes. They say that soon the iPhone will disappear and that we’ll be surrounded by and part of the iPhone in some giant huge techno-jerk off.
There was this video conference that I saw yesterday on the anticipated decoupling of the US and Chinese economies. This ethnic Chinese academic from MIT said that decoupling would severely slow down the pace of technological development. My first reaction was: “So!” But then I remembered that book given to me by the Investment Bank called “Blitzscaling”. According to this book, the business model now is to exploit the insanely rapid pace of technological development to build the product or service first without even knowing how to make it or how to make a profit. The theory being that the rapid pace of technological development will sort things out. What you don’t want is to be a second place loser.
” What’s funny is, the Dem Establishment climbed into bed with the Sovs while FDR was in the WH, ”
you are being much too modest .
The British and American governments were the greatest sugar daddies the Bolsheviks ever had , 1917 – 1990.
Conspiracy theory ?
well , you can look it up , follow the money , in Wikipedia , or the Encyclopedia Britannica.
i gotta admit , my animosity toward the U.S. is at least partly personal.
The East German stigma particularly rankled when , after all , the bastards who bankrolled us were ……….you , yourselves.
” Anyway here is to the white women of this great country destroying what amounts a very large Jim Jones cult known as the Democratic party. ”
The funny thing about what went down in Guyana is ;
How does one guy talk 700 people into killing themselves ??
He didn’t . It didn’t go down that way.
What’s really funny is that to this day , neither the surviving members of peoples temples , NOR their PRESUMED CRITICS / OPPONENTS , want to talk about the roughly two dozen people who were pointing guns at the rest that day.
To hear EITHER narrative , you would think Jim Jones did it all !
Never mind that at that point he was nearly invalid.
I don’t know , that very interesting little oddity of an omission seems to say something interesting about human nature in general.
” And remember that it is women that hold society together, not men. ”
Women will have children , and raise them , and pay the grocery bill somehow , regardless, anyway.
It is men whom you have to convince to open their wallets.
Men whom you must give incentive and explanation as to why they should stay , and why they should care.
Christianity curb – stomped paganism because it recognized this and acted on it.
That is , Christianity understood that hunter , cannon fodder , bill payer , is the least of it . What is vital to civilization is willing and involved fatherhood.
Lose that , and you will lose everything.
Women can hold together a gaggle of hard -scrabble hunter – gatherers well enough.
Christianity is failing because now it would rather pander to a neo – pagan – like secular state that would , insanely , just as soon see the family fail.
When men , specifically men , quit going to church you’re fucked.
The Western world is failing all together because men themselves tell their sons , ” Pull yourself up by your own bootstraps ! ”
— This , in a world where self – made cowboys and self – made mountain men are only an antique memory. A world where you can no longer get a rent – paying job just because you can write three sentences.
That is , men don’t give a fuck about their own sons.
And women are as greedy and self – absorbed as ever , so they don’t say anything about it either.
I don’t know , maybe your sex really would be a bit better off if you did become a bit more faggoty ?
I have to agree with your indictment of the modern Churches. They have fully embraced the philosophies of the World. They are therefore not providing any alternative to the cultural manipulation being purveyed by the godless Ruling Class. It’s one and the same in terms of messaging now if you go to Church or to the Movie Theater.
Re the ‘godless ruling class’, SSL, over in these parts it was the godly ruling class that felt itself ‘called’ to paint two thirds of the world red, steal its stuff at the end of a gun barrel, destroy its industries to create its own and try to convert them to its own religious beliefs.
So, yeah. Tell me about godly ruling classes and I’ll tell you about arrogance, theft and murder. And hypocrisy on a cosmic scale. In the old days the King would murder a million people, then build a cathedral to redress the balance, hoping to get to heaven on points.
You approve of it all of course, otherwise how would you approve of your tribe getting the promised land you think is your due? You think people should stay within the ‘lines God drew for them’ until you don’t. Your lines were in Europe and yet there you are.
Rank hypocrisy everywhere, sadly.
And since the human race has been on the move since before it became human, how on earth do you come up with nonsense about God’s line drawing anyway. How do people think like this?
Yet bizarrely you think it’s OK for white people to be in Africa, but not for black people to be in America, even though ‘you’ brought them there. Hmmm…
And if the ‘answer’ to that is ‘look, USSR’, the answer to that is ‘look, a squirrel’.
Referring to my first post.
“I don’t know , maybe your sex really would be a bit better off if you did become a bit more faggoty ?
Kesa,
You rail against the biological imperative. Rather you should complain that the sun comes up in the East, rather than the West…or death’s inevitability.
One might be able to, with great effort, change a bit of male habit within a society, but only for a single generation…each subsequent generation being born with the same horrid predilections you might describe, where the prior struggles for change will be for naught.

” these people have lost every war they have waged since 1945. ”
The American Civil War was followed by 100 years of Jim Crow.
So , they either lost that war , or their narrative is total bullshit.
Take your pick.
Well, grant you , they won the Spanish American War.
hmmm, I wonder if the U.S. offered to give back Puerto Rico and Guam to Spain , for free , if Spain would take them back ?
I suppose they won World War I — If you can explain to me what the mortal threat of Austria – Hungary was to Nebraska or South Carolina.
They won World War II . If giving a very big chunk of the world to Stalin and Mao is what you would call victory ???
” It is time for the American people to realize that these, like their counterparts in the intelligence agencies, are no heroes. ”
Realpolitik basics :
Spies and informants are pond scum no matter who they work for.
Throughout history , in any era , on any continent , the primary use of armies has been against their own people.
Most people who join the army in any age do so because they would rather not sell electrical supplies , flip burgers , dig ditches , that sort of thing.
They would rather drink beer , see the world , consort with whores , than go to kindergarten recitals , and put up with a frumpy , dumpy , old hag of a wife.
That’s the general military type.
Keep all of that always in mind , and you might halfway pull your head of out the ( Deep ) states ass.
You see Much, but not All. I posed issue to other Christians and only got back dreck except for SSL. And since we are only at mid-week, I’ll lob it at you.
Consider: Even with 19th Century medicine and farming, a population will explode all other things being equal. The land will get divided up until the parcels are too small to support a family. The old answer: Primogeniture or the Eldest boy gets it all and his brothers serve him. But there is only so much room for so many brothers, the others (the best!) will go out conquering and to conquer. Thus Peace is impossible without birth control. And since birth control is condemned by the Traditional Church and Churches, Christianity is thus for War, without admitting as much to itself.
And yes, our Victories have been largely fruitless abroad even as the Founders indicated. We beat the Indians, the French, and the British. That established us on this fruited plain. Now everyone is turning into a fruit. Soon we won’t even be allowed into the King’s forest – environmentalism don’t ya know….
The Amazon Summit is complete and the new charter of the Church is being drawn up. They’re going for the Gold: Women Deacons and Women Priests in short order. New sins of non-recycling while the old ones of Sodomy fall away into “disuse” – in other words, mass use.
There is no Hell anymore, just Global Warming. And Mother Church is to be replaced by Mother Earth. Think of a woman suckling a baby rat at her pendulous breasts. And above us only Sky…..
You really are quite perverted, aren’t you, Janos?
In 49 of 50 states (excepting Mississippi) they’ve instituted story hour in children’s libraries when a drag queen reads to the little children. Many of these individuals are registered sex offenders – including pedophiles.
My point? Society has moved the guideposts for “perversion” way beyond anything I ever foresaw. So what exactly makes Janos perverted? I’m not seeing it.
I don’t like drag queen story hour either hm, but I find Janos’ picture of a woman suckling a rat perverted. Religious people can get carried away, of course, with their attraction to repulsive visions. Clearly you and I have different tastes. It’s all subjective – subjectivity is allowed, I believe, and we choose our own adjectives.
Are the drag queens genuinely registered sex offenders? Do you have actual evidence? If so I would advise you to take it further. If you have time to worry about Janos’ reputation in my eyes you have time to do something about that, surely?
This image is only for Alba (because she has impugned my horror, for Kesa (for religious reasons), and for Puck – the most arcane, eldritch, and esoteric of men. He needs things like this to feed his flame. I forbid the rest of you to look at this. You have been warned.
https://www.barnhardt.biz/2019/10/17/100-confirmed-the-pagan-savage-woman-is-suckling-a-piglet-a-wild-boar-peccary/
Janos:
That bernhardt.biz is one bizarre site.
I see the source of the picture is a breast-feeding promotion site. Did you read the comments?
It’s reverse Romulus & Remus, isn’t it, and reverse Mowgli, reverse Tarzan.
hmuller:
49 out of 50 states? Is this at the state legislature level?
Like GA, I’m not for this activity, but I’lI have to do a Nightowl on you and request a source of this information. It looks dubious to me, or at least misrepresented.
I would have thought you’d enjoy it, seeing as you’re all for the natural and brown against the civilized and white. The Maori women don’t do this? A pity. Bet they did though – to keep the pigs alive on those long sea journeys.
Remember that movie “The Piano”. The White Man was completely comfortable with the Maori and they with him, but he wanted More. He wanted what he knew not what. But he bowed low to civilization, crawling underneath her skirts while she was playing. I don’t know what he did down there, the movie didn’t show us.
“Are the drag queens genuinely registered sex offenders? Do you have actual evidence? If so I would advise you to take it further.”
GA,
Are you being sarcastic? Of course, the event organizers know or should know who these people are. There are services on line for a few dollars to check someone’s background, including criminal arrests. Some communities have wised up and may begin checking the backgrounds of these “story tellers”. https://www.kansas.com/news/politics-government/article234143707.html
See the articles linked at the end.
Sorry, I couldn’t find the article on the 49 states which I read online a few weeks ago. I did read it. I can’t swear the author was telling the truth. You know how all those alt-right people are a pack of liars.
In fact they are so odious Google has made it very hard to find their work. But you don’t believe Google is politically biased, do you? It must be my delusional mind again, (Even if they proudly and publicly say they are censoring what they don’t like).
Majella, Drag Queen Story Hour is promoted by the National Library Association and various left-wing teacher’s organizations. State legislatures have little or nothing to do with it.
As for drag queens having criminal records, see below: There are many more articles; you can find them easier on Bing than Google.
https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/second-drag-queen-story-hour-library-reader-exposed-as-convicted-child-sex-offender
https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/third-drag-queen-story-hour-library-reader-exposed-as-convicted-sex-offender
https://thenationalsentinel.com/2019/08/25/previous-sex-offenders-continue-to-participate-in-drag-queen-story-hour-in-public-libraries-thanks-to-left-wing-lunacy/
My conception of reasonableness is telling these drag queens,”Enjoy yourselves all you like in your community, but leave my children out of it.”
Apparently, that arrangement isn’t good enough. In fact, the SJW crowd would call it “hate speech”. They demand to be embraced in all they do. They want everyone’s love, approval, and admiration, They want to get to know your young children. And if you don’t agree, they want fines and jail time for such “haters”.
The world is slipping into darkness and depravity.
Thank you hm – my request for clarification was genuine, the reason being that if I were to volunteer to work with children at a library I’d have to go through a disclosure procedure precisely to be vetted for the kind of issues you mention. I had to do it before I could teach in school and before I could help out at Sunday school. I would have assumed you’d have similar processes. From one of the articles you linked to, this seems to be a bit hit and miss.
I was obviously being a bit sarky but I see no reason why you would not pursue your civic duty in such a case, especially if you were talking about something local to you.
On the broader issue, do you not have Christmas pantomimes over your way with men dressed up as women and women dressed up as men? That’s been with us forever and kids have always loved it. The pantomime dame is an cultural institution and nothing to do with sex. I think it depends on the context – sexualised stuff is inappropriate for young children, but anybody who gets their knickers in a twist over ‘Dame Edna Everage’ needs to get a life. Even Shakespeare had to make his actors into transvestites temporarily for the needs of the time!
“It’s reverse Romulus & Remus, isn’t it, and reverse Mowgli, reverse Tarzan.”
Haha. Very good point, Majella!
And humans are the only species that routinely drinks the milk of other species. And drinks milk beyond babyhood.
I still think the rat thing is gross, just because it’s a rat.
GA,
You’re comparing the drag queens to Christmas pantomime characters? OK. And Nazi book burnings are just like football bonfire rallies on homecoming weekend. “Hurray for our side!” I love your droll sense of humor.
“I posed issue to other Christians and only got back dreck except for SSL.”
Your dilemma shows rather well the difference between morality and dogma, morality being free to work things out for itself, on the basis of just the kind of human observations you relate.
Sodomy hasn’t ‘fallen…into… mass use’. Homosexuals are a tiny percentage of the population. But you are right that sodomy is much, much more popular than it was among the heterosexual population (mostly men, that would be – many women endure it nevertheless) thanks to its incredible popularity on the websites of the heterosexual Pornucopia. And a significant minority of gay men don’t even like it, apparently.
But it always amazes me that some people, faced with knowledge of the utter depravity that is available in the darkest corners of the heterosexual pornosphere, with brutality towards and humiliation of women being infinitely popular, nevertheless retain a pearl-clutching hysteria about consensual sex between homosexual men.
I don’t watch ANY of this stuff, BTW – but its existence and trajectory bother me enough to have made the effort to find out about it from properly published sources, including the views of many of the people who use it – and those of their partners and spouses.
Sodomy includes any kind of kink, not just Gay Male stuff. You know about etymology, right? There is an online dictionary you can look it up with. Your popular parlance is correct on its own level, but you are talking to an educated man here.
I read further about Milk Bars. Do you frequent them? I mean you can’t be an authority on them if you don’t like their products. Do you know Mary? If so, how exactly are they different from mere “ice cream parlors” – assuming you have frequented these as well. If you fail on either condition of frequenting, then you can ask Mary to explain, perhaps. Failing that, we are at an impasse.
After I’d clicked ‘submit’ I realised that ‘sodomy’ was not what I wished to say (I only used it because it had already been used). The term is anal sex/intercourse. As engaged in by more heterosexual men these days than homosexual ones, simply because there are way more heterosexual men and what men value perhaps above all else in these matters is the new. There are of course other reasons.
And you don’t have to be very educated to know the etymology of sodomy.
Re the rest, we do appear to be at an impasse. I’ve never been to a milk bar and the only ‘ice cream parlour’ I’ve actually sat in is Berthillon on the Ile St Louis in Paris, whose product is stratospherically superior to what I’d expect in an ‘ice cream parlour’ as the term is, I think, mostly used in the Anglosphere. Ice cream in the UK is mostly consumed in restaurants, at home, and along the sea front…
Yes Jim, this Firedrake is on the make and looks to more than singe someone. This firebreather has someone specific in her sights, and will fly in flinging flames if only given the chance. The Deep State has him on the pyre, and she yearns to set the fire. She’ll make Trump the “Burning Man” if she can.
” Any Muslim entering must swear allegiance to the Constitution over the Quran. ”
Granted , mixing Islam with Christianity , Judaism , or paganism or atheism for that matter , is probably a really bad idea.
but then …… mixing in ANY religion that is actually worth the name , that isn’t a complete fucking joke ……..
” Any Muslim entering must swear allegiance to the Constitution over the Quran. ”
Never mind Islam , anyone so crackpot as to swear allegiance to the folks who make license plates and issue fishing licenses , over the creator of red giant stars , Quasars , and black holes , would be a case of ; With friends like that , one scarcely needs enemies.
Such is your common culture.
A Red Pioneer pep rally with a different label pasted on.
I agree. And if we lived in a Theocracy that was functioning and uncorrupt (I know I know dream on) our allegiances to God and Country could be a little more parallel. But yes, in the current state of affairs ones allegiance to the “State” means that you have to disobey most of the commandments of God.
The problem is which theocracy, Christian, Islam, Shinto, Mormon, Protestant, Catholic?
Just the conflicts between Christian and Islam and between Protestant and Catholic have claimed millions of human lives. The Founding fathers understood that religion was just another excuse for humans to kill each other and created separation of church and state as a remedy
Christ himself said
Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, give to God what is God’s.
If the constituents of a nation are law abiding “good” religious folks, their laws follow religious dictates. If a nation becomes amoral, the State continuously fights the religious dictates of the people. Our “diversity” is making this happen, the Constitution is unifying.
But the Law of the Land must be subordinate to God’s Law. Pagans and Atheists must bow or be broken. Muslims know this. And that’s what makes them so attractive to the Godless fools.
“Pagans and Atheists must bow or be broken. Muslims know this. And that’s what makes them so attractive to the Godless fools.”
I’m struggling with the logic of this – any chance you could explain it in small steps?
For the first part, I’m guessing you mean something like hmuller’s admonition to ‘watch what you say, censor yourself, suppress unacceptable opinions until even your private thoughts are their thoughts – or face the consequences. ”
So yes, we kind of get what you have in mind for us.
But the second bit makes no sense, so that’s the bit that requires elucidating, in terms of its logic.
Because women like men who are forceful. See the pictures of the heads of Northern Europe tip toeing into a Mosque in hijabs and bowing down. Perhaps it even means they know they are full of shit and don’t deserve to lead much of anything…
You didn’t say ‘women’, you said ‘Godless fools’. Churches have always been more full of women, compared to men (apart from in the pulpit, obviously). One of the Christian apologists I used to read was fond of saying that heaven would be full of old ladies.
So your explanation makes no sense.
Quite right JohnAZ. As GA has pointed out for the majority of people, religion is assigned by the accident of birth – that is, what your parents adhere to.
It’s definitely the WRONG basis for a society, as the American writers of the Constitution knew.
SSL:
“allegiance to the “State” means that you have to disobey most of the commandments of God.”
Please – expand! Explain the “have to” in particular. I can’t recall contravening a ‘commandment of God’ at the behest or coercion of the ‘state’, but, given what you said here, you must have instances of personal experience.
Exactly what I was about to say myself, Majella. Not that I’m much of a flag waver anyway – the ‘my country right or wrong’ thing isn’t for me, although I’m loyal to it, I think – perhaps the country rather than the state. But like you, I don’t recall a single ‘commandment of God’ that the state made me disobey.
From reading some people on here, you’d think people were being dragged to abortion clinics against their will and forced into libraries to listen to drag queens.
GA – Yes. From reading some people in here, you think no-one expressing any opinion not in line with the fabulist RWNJ agenda is a ‘sick commie who hates white people (and themselves, co-incidentally), love muslims to bits and want to destroy western civilisation’.
Quite the agenda. We’d better be getting on with it then!
Won’t work Al Taqiyya will see to that as it is permissible to lie in the furtherance of Islam.
” Any Muslim entering must swear allegiance to the Constitution over the Quran. ”
Kesa,
Can’t Taqiya out of anything?
Largest mass lynching in US History
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_14,_1891_New_Orleans_lynchings
Afro-Americans don’t have a monopoly on persecution.
Rip
In 1862 there was a mass hanging of Sioux indians in Minnesota. They had wiped out about 800 whites in what was known as the ‘Minnesota Massacre’.
In 1724, 26 pirates were hung at once in Newport RI on Goat Island.
There’s been plenty of hanging to go around.
Brh
Yea I guess your right about large hangings. I figure there is a difference between a hanging and a lynching. The 26 pirates were probably guilty of something and tried in a court. The Sioux were also tried although I guess their guilt would be somewhat suspect as they were at war at the time.
Did the Sioux have public defenders? Translators? Are you sure due process was followed? Elrond wants to know.
Haha! Its so true. People wouldn’t guess it probably but Louisiana is full up with Italians. The ones from New Orleans talk like people from Boston. I like that accent a lot lol!
Remember what you never forgot because you never knew because you were never taught: One third of the people lynched in the South were White. That’s how they executed criminals. The disparate outcome is due to the criminal propensity of the Negro, not any prejudice per se.
How many of the lynchers were Negro? Or is it too hard to tell – what with the robes and hoods.
Zero, thank God. Otherwise the body count for both Blacks and Whites would have been much higher – as post apartheid South Africa makes clear. Ditto Rhodesia. Haiti. Kenya and the “Leopard Men”, etc
You’re sane but not yet “clear”. Basically a Kurt Vonnegut type liberal, before they became totally barking mad.
Justin Trudeau’s victory is a death knell for Canada’s fledgling far-right
Canada’s 43rd election campaign capped a particularly bruising year for Trudeau, but in the end his right-leaning rivals fared worse
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/oct/22/justin-trudeaus-victory-is-a-death-knell-for-canadas-fledgling-far-right
‘Liberal supporters trickled into the party headquarters in downtown Montreal on Monday night, apparently worried that they were about to witness an electoral comeuppance for Justin Trudeau.
‘Yet any jitters quickly turned to cheers as the party secured a minority government, thereby rescuing Trudeau’s legacy – and probably tilting Canada’s political landscape further to the left in the process.
‘… Canada’s 43rd election campaign capped a particularly bruising year for Trudeau, who rose to power in 2014 as an outspoken progressive.’
[EH: Speaking as an outspoken progressive, let me add: BWAAAHAHAHAAA! Ah, comedy… Anyway.]
‘… [T]he election was also a veritable death knell for the country’s fledging far right party, the People’s Party of Canada. Its leader, former Conservative MP Maxime Bernier, adopted the tone and substance of Trumpian nativism, decrying multiculturalism, promising to decrease immigration and calling into question the established science on climate change. Formed just over a year ago, the PPC ran a nearly full slate of candidates, yet failed to win a single seat.’

News you can use. Cheers, neighbours!
Odd how you lot claim to be so progressive until it’s one of your own engaging in racists behavior.
I guess parading around in black face is ok as long as it is one of your own…huh?
Canada is as big of a mess as America you just have far less crazy people at the moment.
You talking to me, benr? I was holding Justin Trudeau in contempt (from the left) before it was fashionable — hence my derisive laughter. Some of us understand the difference between substance and marketing without needing it rubbed in our faces like so much makeup.
Your tongue is just as black as Justin’s in a metaphysical sense.
Pseudo-intellectual twaddle.
Yes Trudeau will have to move further to the left now, unless he doesn’t plan on ever running again. But of course he does. Canada is looking more like the left wing “paradise” to where US lefties can flee if they fail to get rid of Trump. But Canada does have strict immigration rules (oh my!) so only the well off lefties from the US can flee there. Or I suppose lefties who can write code. Bwahahahahaha….. Better than Indians can, that is.
Interesting.
Suppose we build RRs from our southern border ports of entry to border towns on the northern border and just pass through a percentage of the illegals directly into Canada’s Liberal paradise.
Let a bunch of our northern neighbors have to deal with the culture and fiscal shock of having Latino immigrants joining their country.
They are already complaining about the Chinese in the western sectors.
Why does the US always have to take it is the keister and no one else does? Include the Way EU in that statement.
Let’s all celebrate Trudeau’s glorious victory by clubbing baby seals!!!
Who’s with me???
Brh
My sister misheard you and went clubbing with navy seals.
JohnAZ said, “Any Muslim entering must swear allegiance to the Constitution over the Quran.”
Is the Constitution a religious text? IOW will I be required to swear allegiance to the Constitution over the Bible?
It may not be but you know it was inspired by Christian traditions. So it is very silly, this whole game of separation of Church and State. No wonder we don’t have a Race, a Culture, or a Country!
That is exactly right. Every little penny ante person or organization think they are the grand interpreters of our laws of the land. When the mechanism of control by the Deep State is divide and conquer, this scenario fits their agenda exactly.
Good example. Mitt Romney.
Keep the dividers out of it. The Constitution is the law of the land.
So why did you say what you said? Are you ready to recant?
Somebody has to interpret it. It might as well be White Nationalists since the Founders were White Nationalists. But you prefer Jewish Marxists I imagine. Cuz they’re chosen, right? And you like Kosher Franks and Israel. The only problem is that they hate us….
EXCUSE ME. HI, IS THIS THING ON? *taptap* *blows into mike* HELLO? *tap*
OH, HI, SSL! HOW ARE YOU? *waves* I JUST WANTED TO SAY HOW IMPRESSED I AM WITH YOUR ARGUMENT.
LET’S KEEP IT REAL, IT TAKES SERIOUS BALLS TO PULL OFF SUCH TRANSPARENT BS IN PUBLIC. ‘INSPIRED BY CHRISTIAN TRADITIONS’? MARVELOUS!
AT ONE AND THE SAME TIME, IT MUDDIES THE WATERS WHILE NOT MEANING ANYTHING SPECIFIC. ANYONE WHO POINTS OUT THE CONSTITUTION MAKES NO REFERENCE TO GOD, A CREATOR, OR ANY CHRISTIAN CONCEPT AT ALL CONTRIBUTES TO THE FALSE IMPRESSION THAT THERE’S A CONTROVERSY.
AND IF THEY REFER TO OTHER HISTORICAL FACTS, SUCH AS THE FEDERALIST PAPERS, YOU CAN ALWAYS HANDWAVE ABOUT CHRISTIANITY IN GENERAL IN PRE-REVOLUTIONARY AMERICA.
YOU HAVE ADVANCED A COMPLETELY UNFALSIFIABLE CLAIM, SSL! IT’S BRILLIANT! BRAVO! KUDOS TO YOU, KUD–
*mike cuts out
Your secular paradise is nightmare of black trannies and muscular blonde guy girls folding their opponents in female rugby “like lawn chairs”.
But first there was female rugby in imitation of men. Then men went into to make it better. The best female rugby players are biological males. You are a Masculine Supremacist. Like me.
No differences, right? Or none that make a difference according to your Constitutional Koran. Why do you Commonwealth ninnies care so much about our politics? Hands off, blimey. Rob Ford Nation will rise again!
Here’s a link to images of all the ‘biological men’ Janos is so afraid of:
https://www.google.com/search?q=world%27s+best+female+rugby+player&oq=world%27s+best+female+rugby+player&aqs=chrome.0.0j69i57.10486j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
“Why do you Commonwealth ninnies care so much about our politics? Hands off, blimey. ” (I think you mean Limey” – ‘blimey!’ is an expression of surprise.)
Unfortunately, the rest of the world is heavily affected by what the US government does. It sneezes, the rest catches a cold.
If another one ‘upsets’ it (such as by not colluding with a US politician for his or her own personal or political advantage…), there will be consequences – if not having the shit bombed out of it, then at least crippling sanctions or withholding of promised aid, you name it…
“‘blimey!’ is an expression of surprise.”
Indeed. It’s origin is in the archaic expression, ‘God blind me’.
Zounds!
As usual, what the leadership believes and what the people of the nation believe don’t always agree:

Thank you Elrond! I promise to keep up the good work :-).
It’s fitting that Elrond used all caps. That level of bloviating methane gas demands it.
Well, we are going to need to discuss “higher law”. There is a higher law above the Constitution and ignoring it is why we are confounded, and perplexed.
Where there is a law on the books and there is a conflict between the law of the land created by Constitutional means, and the Quran, the Bible, or any foreign country’s law,
Yes, the Constitution is the supreme law of the land in this country.
Would you allow fundamentalist Muslims to create an ISIS in the US with all the trappings of the militant part of the Quran? Not me.
Would you allow the Orthodox sects of the Jewish or The LDS group ostracize the remainder of the gentiles in the name of the Bible or the Book of Mormon? Not me.
The first amendment freedom of religion was installed to prevent the government from interfering with my ability to worship as I feel is right.
It also is there to prevent any religion from interfering with the law of the land as written under the Constitution.
