Emily Oster’s Plea Bargain

Shuck-and-jive from America’s broken thinking class, the people who pretend to know better than everybody else.

By now, everybody and his uncle has seen Emily Oster’s plea for “pandemic amnesty” in The Atlantic magazine, a house organ of the people in America who know better than you do about… really… everything. Emily’s wazoo is so stuffed with gold-plated credentials (BA, PhD, Harvard; economics prof at Brown U) it’s a wonder that she could sit down long enough to peck out her lame argument that “we need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID.”

Emily wasn’t “in the dark.” She had access to the same information as the Americans who recognized that everything the public health authorities, the medical establishment, and many elected officials shoveled out about Covid and its putative remedies and preventatives was untrue, with a patina of bad faith and malice — especially when it was used to persecute their political adversaries.

These dissenters turned out to be “right for the wrong reasons,” she declared, the main reason being that they were not aligned in good-think with the Woke-Jacobinism of her fellow “progressives” at Brown U, and academics all across the land, who were righteously busy destroying the intellectual life of the nation, making it impossible for the thinking class to think.

Let’s face it: every society actually needs a thinking class, a cohort able to frame important issues-of-the-moment that require argument in the public arena to align our collective thoughts and deeds with reality. America used to have a pretty good thinking class, with a pretty good free press and many other platforms for opinion — all animated by respect for the first amendment to the Constitution.

The thinking class destroyed that by vigorously promoting a new censorship regime in every American institution, shutting down free speech and, more crucially, the necessary debate for aligning our politics with reality. Hence, America’s thinking class became the torchbearers of unreality, in step with the Party of Chaos which seized the levers of power. This included the powers of life and death in the matter of Covid-19.

These were the people who militated against effective early treatment protocols (to cynically preserve the drug companies’ emergency use authorization (EUA) and thus their liability shields); the people who enforced the deadly remdesivir-and-ventilator combo in hospital treatment; the people who rolled out the harmful and ineffective “vaccines”; who fired and vilified doctors who disagreed with all that; the ones who engineered a long list of abusive policies that destroyed businesses, livelihoods, households, reputations, and futures.

How did it happen that the thinking class destroyed thinking and betrayed itself? Because the status competition for moral posturing in the sick milieu of the campus became more important to them than the truth. In places like Brown U, what you saw was an escalating contest for status brownie-points, which is what virtue-signaling is all about. And the supreme virtue was going along with whatever “experts” and people-in-authority said — the pathetic virtue of submission. Anything that got in the way of going along — such as differences of opinion — had to be crushed, stamped out, and with a vicious ruthlessness, to teach the dissenters a lesson: dissent will not be tolerated!

Some thinking class. The case of Emily Oster should be particularly and painfully disturbing, since she affects to specialize, as an economist, on “pregnancy and parenting” (her own website declares), while the Covid regime of public health officialdom she supported instigated a horrendous pediatric health crisis that is ongoing — it was only days ago that the CDC added the harmful mRNA “vaccines” to its childhood immunization schedule for the purpose of conferring permanent legal immunity for the drug companies after the EUA ends, a dastardly act. Where’s Ms. Oster’s plea to the CDC to cease and desist trying to vaccinate kids with mRNA products?

The CDC is still running TV commercials (during World Series ballgames!) touting its “booster” shots when only weeks ago a top Pfizer executive, Janine Small (“Regional President for Vaccines of International Developed Markets”), revealed in testimony to the European Union Parliament that her company never tested its “vaccine” for preventing transmission of SARS CoV-2. The CDC under Director Rochelle Walensky is still extra-super-busy concealing or fudging its statistical data to obfuscate the emerging picture that MRNA “vaccines” are responsible for the shocking rise of “all-causes deaths” in the most heavily-vaxxed nations. In short, the authorities are to this minute still running their whole malign operation.

Notably, Ms. Oster’s plea for amnesty and forgiveness, showcased in The Atlantic, omits any discussion of accountability for what amounts to serious crimes against the public. A whole lot of people deserve to be indicted for killing and injuring millions of people. At the heart of her plea is the excuse that “we didn’t know” official Covid policy was so misguided. That’s just not true, of course, and is simply evidence of the thinking class’s recently-acquired allergy to truth. The part she left out of her petition for pandemic amnesty is: we were only following orders.

WE the PEOPLE – or me anyway, DEMAND

Nuremberg style trials for the COVIDIAN cult…

WE want the criminals who conducted this pogrom held accountable for their actions.

WE further demand an end to ALL gain of function research. NO EXCEPTIONS.

We further demand the outright abolishment of DERIVATIVE securities, and we demand that one dollar of equity equal one dollar of capital

    Thank you.

operating off public information, i learned way back when the virus is all there was, that it’s effect relied on ACE2 binding sites, which any spike protein producing “cure” would lock up.

also learned the so called vacks had next to zero testing, and no long term assesment of effects.

lastly, a vacks that injects mRNA into cells, potentially incorporates into DNA, and has no off switch, cannot be a good thing.

i concluded all this a week after the so called vacks was introduced, and so could anyone else with basic reading comprehension and an will to dig.

      but noooooooo……. i was wrong.

      forgiveness for that? NFW!

You were right! But for the wrong reasons, whatever that means.

        So it doesn’t count, apparently.

Forgive their parents perhaps for birthing them, but then round ’em all up and ship ’em off to Devil’s Island. I would not be surprised if the planned gen0ocide is not eventually found out to be the plan, but I would be awfully surprised if anything is ever done about it, or the criminals are ever brought to justice and scheduled for a neck stretching event.

What part of UN Agenda 2030 don’t people understand? It is all about depop, climate crisis, EV, anti-fossil fuel, anti-farming, carbon footprint, and pro-war.

China and Russia are signors and supporters of UN Agenda 2030. Is the West and US confrontations with the East all part of the plan for depop. Conspirators to kill off each others useless eaters. If you want to know who wants you dead, you will have a choice of your executioner this coming Tuesday or at least Dominion will.

          • Walter B November 5, 2022 at 11:24 am #

Exactly and as far as elections are concerned, you and I completely understand the fact that since both sides came right out and declared that elections are rigged if they don’t get their way, duh why have any faith in the corrupted process at all. Yeah, we get it, it’s rigged, and we are now not only useless eaters to them, but useless voters as well. Once AI evolves a bit further, we will all be totally useless to them. We know what happens then, right?

The American government has degraded into a cesspool and the scum has clearly risen to the top (no offense to Tulsi, Rand, or Ron and the other selected few).

      • Yirgach November 10, 2022 at 11:51 am #

I’m lucky to have the other (much better) half as a microbiologist who also consults on clinical trials for drug resistant TB medicine.
For example, she has worked on one project for over 20 years, they are still following the original test/control groups of several thousand. The last mRNA booster was tested on a total of 8 mice. Must be OK, right?

We saw what was happening from the getgo, but all we could do about it was prep and help close family and friends get access to the forbidden drugs.

It was extremely ironic to have a conversation with any medical professional about what was going on with this stuff as they had no clue what the process should be as opposed to what the cretins were actually doing.

So now the current Covid/Flu season is starting, because as usual people have a lower Vitamin D level because of the daylight shortening. How many Drs. recommended increased Vit D for their patients? How many lost their license because of that?

Most Drs. violated their Hippocratic Oath, which is something we’ll never forget. I remind them every time I see one.

        Makes them squirm.

    • Night Owl November 4, 2022 at 9:57 am #

Most should be tried and locked up for life. A few select ones should be tried and sentenced to death.

All of their enablers, including everyday assholes who looked away while families were locked out of supermarkets and the “unvaxed” removed from society via fascistic laws like “2G” here in Germany, also deserve punishment, but will never get it.

Fuck every last one of you cowards.

      • UN OUT OF USA November 4, 2022 at 10:19 am #

Agreed NO, but it will not happen as long as we Americans sit on our collective asses and do nothing but type away on our keyboards. The elites who did this to us are not afraid of keyboard warriors. Our Founders gave us the 2nd Amendment for exactly these kinds of injustices and until we use it, nothing will change.

        • niner November 4, 2022 at 10:48 am #

there is a political dimension to our revenge and demand for justice, and that is that not only these power-sucking public health mandarins and martinets be personally punished, but their entire pyramid of “health” agencies be demolished.

we need to reconsider the current rule by “experts” as codified in the administrative procedures act, and our mistaken switch from states rights to federal agency law.

          • Islander November 4, 2022 at 1:00 pm #

            Just voted.
            Basically straight Republican ticket.
            Never done that before.
Of course it is merely a “gesture” here deep in the Blue Homelands.

But it is all I can do *today.*

          • cbeard November 4, 2022 at 2:45 pm #

For Islander, voting a straight Republican ticket will do nothing. The GOP has been less than useless throughout this whole ordeal. They have been encouraging masks, vaccines, etc. just as the democrats have been doing. Our government, be it the Dems or Reps, are not your friend. Also, they are as responsible for the stolen election as the demorats are. Left a c out of demorat, but it works.

          • Daddyotis November 4, 2022 at 5:23 pm #

            Cbeard:

I don’t disagree with you. However, just because the Ds and the Rs are generally both despicable with regard to how quickly they folded and drank the Covid koolade, that does not mean that they are equally despicable. With your sage (and correct in my opinion) wisdom in mind, I will be joining Islander and voting straight R regardless of outcome. 🙂

          • Islander November 4, 2022 at 10:25 pm #

            Thanks, CBeard, for your “contribution.”

I await your explanation of what I might have thought I was doing.

            I am all ears!!

          • Mike G November 5, 2022 at 9:42 am #

What cbeard said, here in Blue ME, we have Covid Tyrant Janet Mills running for ME Queen for another 4 years. I have heard nothing from her opponents about her locking down this state and bankrupting small businesses, isolating families. Just all part of being part of the hoax as far as the GOP is concerned, more worthless bastards.

What is the big issue in Maine apparently, reproductive rights of course otherwise known as killing off unwanted fetus’. Most of those screaming about the rights for abortion are dried up old crones who are decades past of even getting laid.

        • hortonz November 4, 2022 at 12:39 pm #

This is a well-orchestrated war by the coastal elites in America and the Laurentian elite over here in Canada to impose a draconian one-party rule where the outcome is predictable, no matter who’s in charge. They’re nostalgic for the good old days when the Republicans and Conservatives were so desperate for “mainstream” aka left-of-center approval that they governed according to the consensus dictated by the “thinking classes” in media, academia and government. Now they’ve gone insane because they finally realize that the great, unwashed public is onto their hustle so they double-down on idiot gun control laws like the recent ones passed by Canada’s Woke Parliament and internet censorship laws that make them feel like their omnipotent.

        • abbybwood November 4, 2022 at 2:45 pm #

Plus, if there is a “red wave” this Tuesday and the Republicans win the House and Senate, if they don’t hold serious hearings on the entire Covid crime, the next one will happen and the Democrats will pull out the same old playbook only this time on steroids.

I am in California and I voted “No” on every proposition and for every Republican I could find. Besides the CDC mandating Covid jabs for all students in order to attend school, Newsom and the Democrats in Sacramento are also mandating these jabs.

The American people MUST demand full transparency on all things Covid.

When I voted, the Covid scandal was on my mind more than the price of gas, inflation, crime or the illegal invasion of our southern border.

Oh! And guess who might replace Pelosi (hopefully as minority leader). Schiff!

          • Daddyotis November 4, 2022 at 5:25 pm #

Yes! Schiff!! I saw this too. I was floored.

            Definitely not in Kansas anymore

        • chopper November 4, 2022 at 5:21 pm #

There are people in this country that do not need permission from “authorities” to inflict swift justice on murders. It’s one thing to kill grandma but the grandchildren fall into a category that will get you a tight neck tie in front of a cheering crowd.

      • Anthea November 4, 2022 at 11:43 am #

There were also store managers who harassed people about wearing masks, and there was the cashier who refused to check me out without a mask, and there were the doorkeepers who wouldn’t let you enter the store without a mask. These fuckers should get six-month prison sentences, as a lesson to them and to deter anyone from such actions in the future.

        • Anthea November 4, 2022 at 11:46 am #

I’d even go so far as to say that all public advocates of these actions should do a 30-day prison sentence for “aiding and abetting.”

The mayors of all the towns that decided to enforce business closings should all do about five years. I believe there is a law against depriving people of their rights “under color of law.”

          • abbybwood November 4, 2022 at 2:56 pm #

Speaking of “the law” did anyone else notice the 1,000 page report Jim Jordan and Co. just dropped on the FBI?

            “Rotten to its core”.

        • Anthea November 4, 2022 at 11:47 am #

Employers who enforced vaccinations should do ten years, along with all the managerial personnel who went along with this.

          • niner November 4, 2022 at 12:04 pm #

            the big schadenfreude is coming.

the vaxxed are the walking dead.

some/most will die of vaxx effects. the rest live in terror of the time bomb inside.

          • MD3 November 4, 2022 at 12:49 pm #

Yes. I, along with hundreds of others, were threatened daily by the VP and HR department of my prior company that I wasn’t in compliance and that I had to get vaccinated. I never responded to the threats and ended up leaving for another company. The functionaries who carried out these crimes, across thousands of companies in this country, and all over the world, should be imprisoned, at a minimum, have their assets seized, and made to pay reparations to the people they threatened and persecuted. God help the poor people that gave into their threats.

The snarky agitators who are paid to monitor posters and constantly regurgitate regime propaganda in the comments sections of every forum with condescending mockery also need to be hunted down and made to pay for their crimes.

          • abbybwood November 4, 2022 at 2:59 pm #

And all the physicians and nurses who were stripped of their licenses to practice medicine should be re-instated with damages $$.

I read the other day that even the esteemed Dr. Peter McCullough is losing his license for ordering Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine for his patients and for going against “the narrative”.

          • GreenAlba November 4, 2022 at 6:23 pm #

“some/most will die of vaxx effects. the rest live in terror of the time bomb inside.”

Sometimes it seems to me that certain people almost experience a certain schadenfreude from the prognosis of the vaxxed. I would hope, were I in the opposite situation to the one I’m in, that I wouldn’t think like that.

I’m double vaxxed and I can assure you I don’t live in terror of the time bomb. People don’t stay terrified forever, even with something like that. There is still a battle to be fought, vaxxed or not.

I might die tomorrow or I might die next year. I say a little thank you for each day, as it comes, but I fear the dystopia that will come for my kids far more than I worry about heart attacks or whatever.

I’ll be here as long as I’m here, which, believe it or not, is exactly the same for you.

          • GreenAlba November 4, 2022 at 6:26 pm #

Actually I just noticed that you even used the word schadenfreude. You must know people who were just too trusting – don’t you feel any sympathy at all for them?

          • kendar667 November 4, 2022 at 8:20 pm #

Nobody really knows what will happen with the jabs long-term. Some say there is a killer virus, similar to Ebola, that is hiding out in the bloodstream of jab victims, encased in a fatty hydrogel, and it remains dormant until hit with the right frequency (some flavor of 5G,). Then the casing dissolves, the payload is set free and all the jabbed drop dead all over the world, all at once. Videos of this kind of abrupt death have been floating around – even Bannon’s show opens with a guy in Wuhan falling flat on his face as if hit by a lightning bolt. Another related story is that the huge herd of cattle that got decimated was actually a weapons test of this tech. The herd was injected with a similar hydrogel weapon as what is in the Covid shot, and then some time later was “activated”. Maybe this is all science fiction BS.

What isn’t science fiction is Agenda 2030 and the stated goal of taking out 13 of 14 (93%) worldwide. This obviously goes way beyond the number of people jabbed so begs the question, how are TPTB going to hit the number? Is the jab contagious? Even if it isn’t contagious, the societal impact of a mass die-off around 50% cannot be overstated, basically complete chaos and collapse of civilization.

          • GreenAlba November 4, 2022 at 8:56 pm #

kendar – You might be interested in this interview by Maria Zeee of Dr Ana Mihalcea on the nanotech in the vaxxes. In fact it’s way beyond nanotech.

            zeeemedia.com/interview/uncensored-dr-ana-the-science-explained-nanotech-in-injections-quantum-physics-detoxing/

She says it doesn’t just respond to 5G but also to 4G. It’s real science fiction stuff – quantum physics – a Dr Nixon (see link below the video) has done 2 months of time-lapse photography on a drop of Pfizer vaxx and watched the structures grow, disappear and reappear etc. Way above my head (and that of most doctors, presumably).

Fortunately there is a section on detox towards the end of the interview, with more details on her Substack page.

          • GreenAlba November 4, 2022 at 8:59 pm #

I didn’t mean by that that I am a doctor, in case it was ambiguous! Just that most doctors would find it as much science fiction-like as it appears to a non-medic.

          • Rulo Deschamps November 4, 2022 at 10:54 pm #

Green Alba: “Sometimes it seems to me that certain people almost experience a certain schadenfreude from the prognosis of the vaxxed.”

I agree. It’s a tragedy. Everybody did the best they could with the information they had. Many succumbed to the fear. Errare Humanum Est and all that.

In any case, the damage is done to all of us. Our DNA has been manipulated, and the descendants of vaxxers and refuseniks both will suffer the consequences.

          • kendar667 November 5, 2022 at 4:31 am #

@GreenAlba great link, thanks!! The human body is an amazing creation and is very resilient, I doubt the pigrat monsters will be able to get everyone as they imagine. Really what needs to happen here is a mass awakening as to who the bad guys are and what they’ve been up to, something JHK is doing a tremendous job of. If the peeps can figure out the puzzle in time, we can still turn things around and save most via detox and new high-tech treatments.

          • GreenAlba November 5, 2022 at 11:09 am #

Correction to my Maria Zeee post above – should be 2 days not 2 months!!

If you look at the vaxx droplets for a few seconds/ or even minutes, you don’t see anything happening – watch them for a couple of days and speed it up and you see what’s going on. Looking forward to Redneck’s rebuttal of the actual time-lapse photography. Doubtless RL would take the word of a pharma company that was fined $2.3 billion for medical fraud a few years ago than that of a humble but curious GP from down under who has nothing to gain and everything to lose by going public.

There are apparently now 26 teams internationally (I think that’s the number Dr M. said) working on the contents of the quacksines. Even Redneck won’t be able to trash them all forever to protect his delusions.

          • Jarek November 5, 2022 at 1:01 pm #

“Everyone did the best they could with the information they had”. Oh fatuousness and fatuity! Isn’t it more true to say that the sheep listened, accepted, and obeyed? Seeking out more information? What for? Or at best changing the channel?

Schadenfreude? Of course! Well sometimes in the case of real assholes. This is war, war against the Pure Bloods. They wanted us to die under bridges. One third wanted the other one third to die while another third just watched in silence and indifference.

At the very least tried for manslaughter if anyone died, and attempted manslaughter if you only have injured employees.

If you design and sell a defective and unsafe piece of industrial equipment and it injures or kills a worker you are on the hook.
Even though your intent was to just do the job better.

Ah, the Adolf Eichmann excuse – that’s what all good Nazis use when having to give account for the evil inside them.

      • Prospero November 4, 2022 at 2:07 pm #

This “we were only followed orders” defence strategy worked for Lt. William Calley who was the only American soldier to be held legally responsible for the M? Lai massacre that was conducted under his command. Sentenced to life in prison, Calley ended up serving just three years under house arrest when President Richard Nixon reduced his sentence.

Add me to that “WE” cohort, which should also read “We the targets of their malicious plot”, and/or “We the intended victims of their scheme to murder humanity in general”. I demand the same, along with some other demands to be listed upon request by the “public servants” who hope to get my assent to consideration of amnesty.

JHK laid it out very clearly in this article. The people who desperately need amnesty don’t deserve any of our consideration for amnesty.

That aside, I think their public trials for crimes against humanity can proceed while we consider whether or not to allow any of them to slide for any of their myriad crimes.

Agree 100%, No criminal complaints have been filed, but there are civil suits gathering steam. Specifically, Truth for Health.org is now working with lawyers on lawsuits against hospitals who killed so many with their Remdesivir and ventilator combined treatments. The immunity granted the drug companies and anyone using their killer product will not escape a claim for damages based on fraud and an adulterated product, which brings in punitive damages. The hospitals and doctors were rewarded handsomely for each Covid death they reported, as non-covid deaths were rewarded with a much smaller payment. Just waiting for competent trial attorneys with guts to go after Pfizer, Moderna, and J & J, as well as medical associations and even medical journal publishers, all of whom benefited while millions died or were critically injured. The evidence is overwhelming of the fraud and self-dealing, so surely every trial firm cannot be so woke that they will pass up the chance to achieve justice for the dead and injured, while making fees beyond their comprehension.

Everyone who was involved with the Covid crimes, Inc politicians, MSM, Doctors, so called celebrities, should be dragged before a Nuremberg 2 style court and thrown into prison.

      Emily Oster:

“We need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID.”

Translation: ”We pro-vaxxers need to be let off the hook for what we tried to inflict on those who could see past the BS and refused to be injected with Big Pharma poisons. IOW we are trying to steer you away from demanding rightful retribution by appealing to fluffy emotion”

We, the so-called ‘anti-vaxxers”, the ‘Covidiots’, the ‘Granny-killers’ as you termed us, never did or said anything against the Pro-Vax Nazis as we were not allowed to voice our opinions under pain of social ostracization, cancellation and even arrest. So, to not put to fine a point on it Ms.Oster et al seeking a get out of jail free card… Go and Fcuk yourselves sideways. Some sins are just unforgiveable. We will not forgive, and we certainly will not forget what you did when you thought you held the whip hand. YOU ACTED LIKE NAZIS.

IMO, asking for forgiveness is a travesty.

    • Hereward the Woke November 4, 2022 at 9:59 am #

Forgiveness is never automatic. It comes at the end of along progress that starts with admittance of guilt, judgement, punishment and genuine atonement. Then, and only then, is forgiveness given. I will forgive people like Oster, Gates, Schwab, Fauci and Bourla after they have been hanged for crimes against humanity.

You forgot Biden and his corps of recruits that shoved the mask and vaxx requirements down our throats when they forgot all about the Bill of Rights. I did the risk assessment myself with the info available at the time and took the vaxx. After two more years of data, mostly covered up by the Biden team, never again.

I hope that Oster’s article opens a Pandora’s box in DC and starts the tear down of the Swamp that Trump failed at.

My dream, continuation of disclosures, House investigations, Trump re-election into a lame duck term and accelerated tearing down of the Deep State.

“I might say a prayer for God to have mercy on their souls.”

Why? They never had any mercy on us. Time to look up some vengeance verses for inspiration!

Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. – Romans 12:19

          O Lord, God of vengeance,
God of vengeance, shine forth! – Psalm 94:1

For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.” “The Lord will judge His people.” – Hebrews 10:30

Yes, Christianity has gotten so candy ass that it has forgotten everything except forgiveness and praying for your enemies.

It’s perfectly fine to pray against them too, as in David’s imprecations; to call down God’s judgement on the evil ones.

You can’t forgive people who aren’t sorry. Not even God can do that. You can try and put them out of your mind so they don’t poison you inner world. How is that forgiveness? Yet the intellectual lazy have conflated these two.

          • Beryl of Oyl November 4, 2022 at 12:58 pm #

If I wasn’t clear, the prayer would be after they were dead.

It’s alright to pray to God to make them dead or to grant victory against them, Beryl.

        HtW,
That is a bit harsh. Christian charity demands that one forgive others who trespass. I, myself, although not a Christian, and also damned as a serial blasphemer, am prepared to forgive Oster.

          “When the Jews forgive Hitler.”

This a.m. I was thinking, when the Holocaust turns out to be “just kidding, guys, really,” that’s when the Coronacaust will be forgiven.

However, there is IMHO more than one circle of CoronaHell.

HOnestly, I don’t expect the checkout lady or the doorman to have the mental wherewithal that I possess—to, say, see the huge red flags when the Blue Form (cause of death) was messed with; when the control group was disbanded; when Dr. Michael Osterholm started weaseling with his words re mask efficacy.

These kinds of people truly were doing what they were told to do.

It is the local public health people and mayors etc. who should have had the basic mental chops to take note of such huge red flags in the narrative.

The speed with which suddenly all of signs,
foot decals for stores and Post Offices, video messages rolling at the PO, etc. were printed and rolled out is one of the biggest red flags that this operation was run from Corona Central, at the federal, state, and local level.

We need to know more about the means used to execute these crimes on the American public. The nitty-gritty. Like, when were orders sent out for all the propaganda products and who signed off on those orders?

Re Gates, Fauci, Tedros, Bourla, and others were need to think RICO.

In my crystal ball I see a lot of FOIA requests and a lot of refusals and inking out and stonewalling.

Probably the most important thing the American people have lost in the past five years isn’t our democracy but TRUST.

          • Anthea November 5, 2022 at 11:47 am #

You may not expect the chekout lady or the doorman to be smart enough to examine scientific material intelligently, but any idiot could see that there never was an epidemic. I never at any point noticed any illness beyond the ordinary, and I never personally knew anyone who died. In fact, 2020 and 2021 were remarkably mild flu seasons. You’d have to literally be a certified retard not to see that.

I will (grudgingly) give a pass to people who worked in hospitals, since they were surrounded by the sick and subjected to especially heavy doses of propaganda. (One of my daughters was a respiratory therapist during the covid years. People were being given Remdesivir and being put on ventilators, and she sincerely believed that this was all they could do–and of course she was alarmed that so many were dying. Meanwhile, her hospital was referring to Ivermectin as “horse medicine.”)

      • C.O.Jones November 4, 2022 at 12:13 pm #

Agree 100% with what Hereward the Woke said and would add that it is necessary, indeed VITAL for these criminals to be executed in the most public manner possible. They are not going to stop and are already planning round 2. The names Hereward mentioned and many others need to become anthema to the point where their own offspring disavow the family name just like I would if my last name was Hitler. NOPE – I’m changing that! But it needs to go further: every doctor, pharmacist, broadcaster, Hollywood personality, CEO, or manager who urged people to get this untested death shot need to be given a choice between life in prison with no hope of parole or being put on the wall and shot. “Take your pick, you have 10 seconds to decide.” These Satanists need to know and it must be demonstrated publicly that crimes against humanity are no longer tolerated, no matter how stupid 90% of the population is. Oh yes, let’s not forget to dissolve the companies – Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca, J&J that made these instruments of death and suffering and distribute their Billion$ in assets to those harmed the most – families of those who died from shots or lockdowns and business owners who suffered as a result of same.

This was not an apology but a way of absolving herself and other covid fanatics of all responsibility for the consequences of harsh lockdowns, masking children, closing the schools and churches, people losing their jobs, giving untested vaccines to pregnant women (the UK no longer “recommends” these for pregnant women, nursing mothers or women who want to become pregnant), coercion to vaccine children as young as 6 months old, destroying any doctor who spoke out for cheaper, more effective treatments and gleefully reporting anytime a person died of covid who hadn’t been vaccinated.

As Vanessa Beeley puts it, on a segment of the UK Column, the abusers are demading that their victims, the abused, forgive them.

That is in effect carte blanche to do the same thing all over again

It is a characteristic of the abusive cycle in abusive relationships.

It is odd that our society, so overattuned to any hint of abuse, being triggered by upsetting words, etc. fails to notice the gigantic abuse elephant in the room, as the whole society has been abused but is enjoined to just return to normal, and perpetuate a state of denial as to what just happened. .

And the abusees are exhorted not to notice it.

Well, frankly, I am being massively TRIGGERED by this bitch Emily’s BS.

Emily Oster must be called out as an unrepentant ABUSER who declares herself innocent so that she is free to abuse again.

        • Ricechex November 5, 2022 at 12:22 am #

She is a total abuser and tyrant. I was repulsed by her essay. She even turned her 4 year old into a tyrant who was yelling at other kids to social distance. Obnoxious, entitled, and disrespectful kid. The apple does not fall far from the tree. What were they doing hiking anyway if they were so afraid? She is a total abuser. Rationalizing, blaming and minimizing. She is disgusting.

  3. Freddie November 4, 2022 at 9:03 am #

This isn’t any plea for forgiveness at all. This Establishment mouthpiece is signalling what is going to happen. And the public can just suck it and STFU.
Since when has the public interest been respected by the State? Since when? Since “Too Big To Fail”, since all the Woke bullshit, since the Ukraine war against Russia? Since when?

    • observex November 4, 2022 at 9:58 am #

Freddie, you are sadly correct – Covid tyrants will be punished just about as much as those who started the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. We can only individually choose to not do with business with or otherwise associate with the Branch Covidians.

I’ve turned away from some former friends. And sometimes it can be fun! Last month I saw a former acquaintance masked like a moron in the bowling alley, and when he came and stood among our group of three, I ignored him until he walked away.

      • JohnAZ November 4, 2022 at 10:21 am #

Did you have the same feeling I do, that these “friends” are so dumb that you wonder how you befriended in the first place. They are State automatons, the valued “citizens” of Brave New World.

        • observex November 5, 2022 at 7:32 pm #

Yes, it is startling and disappointing. With one friend of several years, we always talked about families and common interests and businesses, and I guess did not spend enough time together to get into politics.

And then in 2020, he kept his kid at home and away from other people for a year, and put up the BLM sign on his business…. and in fact our last conversation was him wearing a mask in a parking lot and I said something about BLM he did not like and he literally walked away from me. We have ignored each other from even 10 feet away on any encounter since then.

I have learned to suss out a person’s view of the world before I engage too much.

      • Mick November 4, 2022 at 10:27 am #

I’ve noticed lately that masks are showing up again in quite large numbers, yet here the ‘Covid rate’ is practically nil. Then someone clued me in……They’re afraid of the flu.

I was wondering the same thing.
Especially when they are walking down the street alone or driving alone.
I then decide I hope they get whatever they are afraid of because being that stupid is eventually terminal.

It is rather jarring when no one is wearing masks and then one person is wandering around masked.

          • AmericanObserver November 4, 2022 at 12:12 pm #

Whenever I encounter a masked individual, perhaps at a store, and that person starts talking (about anything, not the mask or COVID or illness) I rudely interrupt and say something like “I can’t understand what you’re saying with that stupid thing on your face”.

The reaction is priceless every time.

Remember how when Woody talked about only the qualified getting to vote, you protested by saying, that would eliminate the majority?

If you remember and are willing to admit it I ask: What of it? If people aren’t worthy of the franchise, they shouldn’t have it.

Exactly. Jim’s entire thesis, which serves as the foundation for his belief system and published work, is that democracy is (was) real.

That citizens possess(ed) agency, the right of self determination, and that people acting in good faith could reasonably discuss and debate important issues facing the body politic to reach an agreed solution.

Now, where did he (and many others) get that idea; how was it implanted and to what purpose? Because if one were an objective observer during those formative years, it would have trivial to identify the intentions, programs, teaching methods and test results.

The end product of course are programmed cult members – as intended – which can be easily persuaded and manipulated to follow a designed objective. I keep saying that the development of democracy was a genius move, orders of magnitude more effective than brute, top down rules and regulations.

The only real side effects are those so heavily imbued with the mysticism of individual power that crushing disappointment destroys many people’s continuing will to live.

      • Woodchuck November 4, 2022 at 11:04 am #

“The end product of course are programmed cult members – as intended – which can be easily persuaded and manipulated to follow a designed objective.”

What you’ve written above is the primary objective of public education. When our fake democracy disintegrates after the soon to be death of the dollar, the school teachers that did this to us will all be unemployed. The resources to support the public school brainwashing systems will be gone, and education will return to the small local schoolhouse and to a living room in your neighborhood where some former teacher might barely be making a living teaching home schooled kids within walking distance. Parents will be closely watching what their kids are being taught next door. The cars and buses that once took children each day to the giant indoctrination centers will be parked. There will be no spare parts for them and no fuel.

“Vengeance is mine” indeed says the lord. We can rest happy after punishment arrives and former academics and health officials everywhere will be doing field stoop labor and picking cotton by hand. Those are the only skills they’ll have left that anyone will pay money for.

Since when do prison gaurds and executioners ( non – productive occupations ) work for minimum wage ?

So their solution to this Tammany Hall patronage system ,

Is a ten fold or hundred fold increase in this Tammany Hall patronage system.

          • Anthea November 5, 2022 at 9:47 am #

            @ KesaAnna:

IMHO, the chief reason why virtually all the major cities in the US do not prosecute crime–just let it run rampant–is because they can’t AFFORD to. It costs too much money to put people in jail, and the criminal element in cities is too large. Cities would probably have to jail at least 10% of their populations to have any effect on crime.

As it is, when your neighborhood meth dealer goes to jail, he’ll be back out in less than a year, and he’ll be back in your neighborhood dealing drugs, stealing from the neighbors and vandalizing their property.

So even if cities put 10% of their populations in jail, it probably wouldn’t do much good.

A few years ago, when President Marcos of the Philippines enacted some very harsh measures to rid the islands of drugs–including a kind of open season on drug addicts–many people were appalled. But I remember one commenter who pointed out that imprisoning criminals is a luxury that only very wealthy societies can afford. This is especially true where the criminal class is very large.

Excellent point. In fact, the dollar is dying as we speak, despite the deceptive temporary rise against other basket case currencies (due to the need for USDs to unwind 700Tril of derivatives).

Saudi and other oil producers no longer accept dollars for oil. (Hence the draining of the National Petro reserve).

Over 60 countries have either applied to or joined BRIICS, making the SWIFT system (based on dollar dominance) a total joke.

Germany is even rumored to have made a bid to joint BRIICS. (The joining of Germany and Russia is the neocon’s nightmare).

One of many of brandon’s ‘accomplishments’ will be remembered as the destruction of the US dollar, along with the US as we know it.

But then the ruling class got the bright idea to make everyone Black’s and Indians ,

Mrs Saj, it’s not retribution when the trusting ordinary people are the ones suffering. It’s retribution when the criminals in charge are held accountable and punished.

          Hmuller,

I understand your point. But where do you draw the line? Of course Fauci deserves a trial and a hanging. But how far down into the CDC and the FDA do you go before the criminals become trusting ordinary people? How far into the hospital administrations? What about the medical licensing boards, down to the doctors, down to the nurses, down to the fucking pharmacist who wouldn’t fill my valid prescription for ivermectin? There are examples everywhere of somebody high up being evil, but the shit they spew rolls downward and downward and gets on everyone else who won’t stand up.

I give total amnesty, forgiveness, and my breaking heart to the kids with the stupid parents who had no choice, those in the military who were ordered by their commanding officers to get the “vacks”, and those who were losing their jobs. Beyond that, sorry, but retribution is here.

Quite early in the fake “pandemic” (probably late March or early April of 2020), I made many posts on Facebook that covid was a fraud. I supplied many links. I also posted on the local community page, which was infested with people screaming hysterically for business closings, masks, and all the other crap. I think I was the first in my area to raise objections. I was joined by others, but I also got PMs from people who agreed with me but were afraid to speak up.

When they came out with the vaccines, I posted many, many warnings with many, many links. There is no excuse whatsoever for anyone who saw my Facebook page or for anyone who reads the local community page (which is just about everyone) to claim ignorance. If they were ignorant, it was willful.

I even had one of my friends tell me that he had researched the vaccine and was satisfied that it was “safe and effective.” Apparently his “research” did not include any sources other than the MSM–or clicking on any of my links.

So, if they didn’t know, it was because they didn’t want to know. Why did they not want to know? Beats me. I think a lot of it is that most people automatically take sides based on which side they perceive to be most powerful. It’s the most secure position, plus it gives them a surrogate sense of power over others.

From the get-go, three things were obvious about the vaxx to any thinking person: it wasn’t a vax but a gene therapy, it hadn’t passed through all the tests, and it was being pushed by an insane creep called Fauci.

I figured a plan from any government to vaccinate a whole planet belonged in science fiction books and had no place in sober Medical practice. But Surprise! surprise! Turns out the World is dumber than we thought.

Wait one. We are reading an expose of how “astute” academia is and how really ignorant they are of the real world. Medical practice is a direct offshoot of academia so should we be suprised when they pull the same BS.

Elimination of the domination of academia in our government is a first priority.

          • pranah November 4, 2022 at 10:39 am #

You’re right, Amman. I didn’t take the vaxxx because I knew from the very beginning there was no possible way they could truthfully claim it was either safe or effective, since it came out too fast and they couldn’t have done all the testing. That was enough for me. And that it was an entirely new (mRNA) product that had never been used with humans before. I concluded this without studying at all.

          • Woodchuck November 4, 2022 at 11:11 am #

“Elimination of the domination of academia in our government is a first priority.”

In my opinion, a horrific economic calamity and loss of access to fossil fuel energy will do wonders to completely destroy academia and our “health care system” which we also will NOT have the resources to support any longer. Go to any modern hospital and ask yourself how will any of this work without a functioning high tech supply chain system and cheap energy to heat and cool those places. Our current health care system consumes around 20% of our entire economy. It takes hundreds of thousands of dollars for the average person to die in a hospital. This system will NOT continue and its going down real hard!

        • JohnAZ November 4, 2022 at 10:32 am #

Actually, what I think is going to be uncovered is that Fauci was there to protect the virus lab work that erred and released Covid in Wuhan. He was a global leader of centers, some in China and Ukraine. His job was protection of the research and F%$k the people.

The real culprits of the vaxx were the mRNA folks in medical research trying to come up with a genetic cure for cancer. They came running to Trump et al, Pence and Fauci, Birx with a vaccine “cure” for Covid. The administration was in a panic with what to do with the 2020 election approaching. The rest is history. Trump was following orders instead of giving them.

The real black eye belongs on the government buying the bullshit the medical researchers fed them. The government that was just waiting to let no crisis pass without a power grab.

          • Mick November 4, 2022 at 10:36 am #

John Campbell MD of Britain just went over a newly released report showing that COVID most likely came from a lab, not from the “wet market”. And, it was the US Senate report he was going over. I’d post a link, but I’m apparently not allowed to do that here.

For those interested find Campbell’s YT channel, and then the vid titled “US Senate, lab origin most likely”. In his show notes is the link to the actual report.

“Actually, what I think is going to be uncovered is that Fauci was there to protect the virus lab work that erred and released Covid in Wuhan. ”

I disagree. No virus was released, only the idea of a virus was released. Covid was produced only by the the fevered imaginations of morally retarded criminals like Fauci.

That whole fraud about “covid” being created in a lab was nothing more than another fable meant to reinforce the idea that “covid” actually exists.

No traditional vaccine could be produced because no specimen of the imaginary virus is available anywhere. The mRNA bioweapon was the plan all along, and “covid” was the fable that made it possible to fool people into allowing themselves to be poisoned

          • Paula D November 4, 2022 at 12:13 pm #

MIck I watched that and I found the comments very interesting.

Many, many people testifying that they had what was probably the bioweapon covid in 2019, before it was identified in Wuhan.

I know people like that also. Their flu swabs came back negative, but they were sicker than they had ever been.

Damn straight that virus escaped/was released before Dec. 2019.

People need to focus on shutting down the gain-of-function bioweapons labs before they focus on punishing the people who used the disease to destroy society.
Because they are still open and they are still releasing “variants”.

I quote the Russian MoD on that subject:

“According to our experts, this is reflected in the variability uncharacteristic of most coronaviruses, resulting in different peaks in incidence, significant differences in lethality and infectivity, uneven geographic spread, and the unpredictability of the epidemic process overall. Despite efforts to contain and isolate cases, the pandemic appears to be being artificially fueled by the exposure of new variants of the virus to this or that region.”

          • Jarek November 4, 2022 at 1:34 pm #

Yes as Ed says, it’s not gene warfare but meme warfare. The “idea” of a virus, a feint, a jab in boxing, the required jump in checkers – all to set people up for the killer blow, the Vax itself.

The Vax wasn’t for Covid. Covid was for the Vax.

          • Paula D November 4, 2022 at 2:14 pm #

The biggest meme trick of all was convincing many people that the virus doesn’t exist.

That way they will ignore the hundreds of gain-of-function bioweapons research labs while they blather on and on about Koch’s postulates and other diversionary narratives.

            Nice work, propaganda meisters!

          • abbybwood November 4, 2022 at 3:35 pm #

And another black eye for Trump was when he ignored all the doctors and scientists who signed The Great Barrington Declaration. Then he ignored Dr. Scott Atlas.

THEN he got Covid in October 2020 and went to Walter Reed where his team of doctors threw the pharmacological “kitchen sink” at him (including Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, high dose Vitamin C IV etc.) then after discharge he said he wanted the American people to have access to ALL the treatments he received! I saw him say this on video!

But he completely caved on that promise.

He should come clean on all this at a presser with all his doctors, Scott Atlas and the leaders of Great Barrington in tow.

Transparency would help We the People out a lot right about now!

The early timeline of COVID is revealing. A massive Media blitz and rollout in, I dunno, under 6 months? 9 months? Just by that you know that they don’t know what’s going to happen to people after one year. The problem is we were able to say No and retain our livelihood but many people who shared our qualms simply could not make the right decision. They had responsibilities, a clear lack of options, and they settled with “I’m not going to deal with this” because it was too scary to go all the way. • SW November 4, 2022 at 10:33 am #

By April, May of 2020 the statistics were already showing this virus was a danger to the elderly and ill. A very small danger to young/middle aged adults and almost zero to teens and children. Remember Trump wanted to open up on June 1st and how nuts the media went? Nonstop Fauci interviews.

        • Anthea November 4, 2022 at 12:13 pm #

          @ Beryl of Oyl:

Same here, by about the end of March of 2020. The hysteria started, I think, in early March. Weirdly, nobody seemed to even have covid, let alone be dying from it. It was a highly unusual flu season; no one was sick. But we still had close businesses, libraries, schools, and churches and force everyone to wear masks and forbid people to gather for holidays–or for any reason whatsoever.

Then there were the cities where people were locked in their homes. People were arrested for walking alone on the beach.

Which reminds me: The cops who enforced this shit should all do about five years in prison and lose their jobs and pensions.

        • Paula D November 4, 2022 at 2:21 pm #

Remember when people partied at the Lake of the Ozarks and the media and the Fauci gang screamed about how there was going to be a major outbreak and they were all going to DIE!!!

We knew by then that the virus was killed by sunlight and that being outside was risk free. (Just like we know now that the GMO injectable doesn’t work. But the propaganda machine marches on, undeterred by the facts.)

And then there was no outbreak and no one died but the media didn’t cover it so it didn’t happen.

          • Paula D November 4, 2022 at 2:21 pm #

That was the end of May, Memorial Day.

          • Paula D November 4, 2022 at 2:27 pm #

That first year, 2020, the virus died out during the summer, like every other respiratory virus EVER.

They weren’t gaslighting us about that particular bit of widespread knowledge in 2020.

But by 2021 they rolled out Delta (another bioweapon) in the middle of summer and the fact that respiratory viruses don’t spread in the summer was dropped right down the Memory Hole.

It turns out that they can roll out new bioweapons whenever needed and all previous knowledge of cold and flu season and epidemiological spread can be ignored.

Just announce that India, practically untouched by covid in 2020, suddenly developed a “new variant” that was wiping them out and then announce that it has “been discovered” all over the USA the next week.
How did that happen? No one asked.

So they did it again with Omicron. New variant? Check.
Spontaneous generation of a completely different genome? Check.
Shows up in South Africa and spreads all over the USA the next week? Check.

Jesus, people. This is not a natural phenomenon.

          • tully November 5, 2022 at 6:10 am #

Paula D, in summer of 2021 I wondered plenty how Delta showed up in the middle of flyover country and spread like wildfire. In late May, the Delta variant was detected in the waste water of either Stone or Taney county; I forget. Both are Branson/Silver Dollar City tourist area. One explanation is a visitor brought the virus into the area; perhaps a family all coming down with it.

Purely coincidence the starting point was a popular vacation spot with conservative Christians in a very red area. Southern MO was red when the rest of the state was blue. Also an area of very, very low vax uptake at that time. All that summer and ever since, I have wondered if the variant was intentionally released. I’ve also wondered if the virus might have been taken to China during the military games in Wuhan fall of 2019 prior to the official outbreak there.

Can’t say we’ll ever know for sure. But scientists in bio weapons facilities are not there because there are curious folks with a love of learning. GOF viruses and vaccines/antidotes for their creations appear to be their primary purpose.

Not doing too well on vaccines, unless prevention is not their goal. Covid vaxxes sure have failed at that. Granted, I did get the J&J, and have not had the crap. But I suspect that is due to dumb luck. And maybe the D/zinc/C/quercetin I continued taking, plus 2x weekly IVM during local outbreaks.

          • Paula D November 5, 2022 at 9:54 am #

Thanks, Tully, for renewing my faith in the ability of some people to think.

Yes, the “Delta variant” did spread in the red states, as you noted, in the summer.

How were the resistant southern states hit so badly in the middle of summer? As you say, maybe the question is actually “why?” and the answer is “resistance”. The ”how” is something we don’t know, but it most likely involves some sort of dispersal mechanism developed by the same people working on the bioweapons.

Oh, and it spread to the kids for the first time. In the summer when school was out. Why? That was when the adult population had mostly been forced into compliance and they were working on talking people into injecting their kids.

    • SW November 4, 2022 at 10:30 am #

@Bilejones — and she, of course, was wrong for the right reasons — those reasons being she’s smarter (and has official pieces of paper from Harvard! to prove it) but primarily the great unwashed Trumpenlumpen were resistant to following smart people like her so they deserved the contempt she and her fellow-smart-people heaped on them.

    • Greg November 4, 2022 at 4:22 pm #

Yes, and the corollary is that they “we’re wrong for the right reasons.” In reviewing the success or failure of a program, it is wise to review the process to see if success was merely the result of good luck unlikely to be repeated, or if failure came from exceptional bad luck. (A good process takes into account a reasonable degree of bad luck, and positions one to take advantage of any good luck.)

So, did Prof.Oster and her ilk follow a sound process? No. There wasn’t any due diligence, no application of the precautionary principle, nor any honest look at the ongoing results. Even if we were to discount malice and fraud, we still have unconscionable negligence. Moreover, it was clear early on that the death rate from COVID did not justify the roll out of an experimental procedure with no prior indication of its safety or efficacy. (Add in the malice and fraud that actually occurred, and the actual situation is far worse.)

For many in academia, it seemed there was much to be gained from going along with the narrative– as long as any bad outcomes were not so numerous and awful that they couldn’t be explained away, preferably by someone else with impressive-sounding credentials.

      Bad gamble.

Haha, just kidding. Our side believes in open and vigorous debate to separate truth from bullshit. And that’s precisely what the opposition intellectual cream puffs know and fear.

MSM talking heads lambasting Elon’s house cleaning. Donchya’ know these people have families, mortgages, bills to pay. They’re deadwood that produce nothing of value as far as I’m concerned. Never heard a peep when Potatohead canceled Keystone on his first day. Thousands lost jobs and these are workers. Real workers that actually know how to do and make things.

The social media gave a platform for the creation of millions of bullshit jobs that Biden is hiding behind right now. What scares the bejesus out of them is that when the dollars become scarce, ie the interest rates climb, the real need for workers in this poor economy country will become evident. Musk is showing this right now. The MSM is going to collapse when his streamlined media site starts to work. Face book has already started down. If Musk discontinued algorithmic censorship, social media will die or do the same. The service economy is going to decrease to its real needs. With no government supports, the media is going to decline drastically.

Yesterday I read an article about renowned Dr. Peter McCullough that those who opposed his views on Ivermectin and HCQ are in the final stages of stripping him of all his medical licenses.

So it ain’t over folks, not by a long shot. The are also going after Dr Pierre Kory who has also had equal success treating Covid without the bullshit vaccines Tony “asshole” Fauci has been pushing on the world.

    • mrs_saj November 4, 2022 at 10:14 am #

I read that too. Dr. McCullough needs public support. These medical boards are a huge part of the problem. Doctors are operating out of fear. The medical boards need to be called to account for their behavior and punished accordingly.

      • SW November 4, 2022 at 10:35 am #

How can they get away with that now? I hope Dr. McCullough turns around and sues them for libel, loss of professional status and anything else he can.

The information about these potentially dangerous viruses will be hidden no matter what the consequences are to all of us. This is the news about investigating biolabs in Ukraine that even Victoria Nuland acknowledged were there:

“The UN Security Council has rejected Russia’s call for an international investigation into claims that the US used laboratories in Ukraine to develop biological weapons. Russia insists that the US and Ukraine have been violating the 1972 international convention that bans the development, production, and stockpiling of biological weapons. According to Moscow, several laboratories in Ukraine were working on a secret “military-biological” program, which involved studies and the stockpiling of samples of anthrax, cholera, and other infectious diseases.”

      • Woodchuck November 4, 2022 at 11:22 am #

Quite frankly, I believe our entire health care system will implode and fail completely after we are collectively simply too broke to support it. We will not have the future financial resources to be able to afford everyone spending up to $300 thousand dollars just to die. Medicine will go back to the very same place it was in the 50’s when I was a little boy. A local doctor’s office within walking distance is where I went for my childhood injuries and problems. And my mom paid the doctor in full with a check right there after services rendered. We didn’t clutter up hospitals constantly with every little problem. You went to a hospital after a bad wreck or industrial accident. And if you were old and sick, you died at home – not all doped up in a hospital will tubes attached to every limb and orifice.

Our health care system is a bloated parasite and a predator.

        • Mick November 4, 2022 at 11:59 am #

Exactly! I was a child 2 decades after you, but I had the same experience. My Mom took me to my pediatrician and the bill was paid on the day of service, and it wasn’t shockingly expensive.

Even when I broke my arm in the 2nd grade I don’t think it cost my Dad more than 200 bucks. Today it……well I don’t know today. I do know that 15 years ago a kid’s broken arm that I knew cost 15K. Copay was certainly higher than 200 bucks.

Pathetic. This whole healthcare system crashing will be a silver lining to an otherwise dark period. IMO.

        • Anthea November 4, 2022 at 12:26 pm #

It was the same way when I was growing up in the 50s. The town doctor’s office was three blocks from our house. The town doctor lived in a nice but modest house about two blocks from his office–and not in McMansion in an expensive suburb. Everyone paid out-of-pocket for a doctor visit, and it was cheap enough that virtually everyone could afford to pay out-of-pocket. Prescriptions were cheap, as well.

The health-care coverage provided by employers was for catastrophic coverage only.

          • Mick November 4, 2022 at 12:52 pm #

Imagine that…..health insurance for catastrophic events only.

Why….why….that sounds like the very definition of ‘insurance’!

The avalanche of shit started with the advent of HMOs in the 70s. I know that Nixon meant well. He thought it would stave off the coming full court press for Guvmint Care that he felt was coming. But it got the ball rolling in turning health insurance into “Care Plans”.

I’ve tried several times to explain to people what real insurance is, to no avail usually. I use the auto insurance comparison. Such as “Does your auto insurance cover your oil changes and flats? No? That’s because its insurance for catastrophes. Not auto care.”

On a Saturday morning my son, 4, was playing outside and he ran in the house screaming, with a trail of blood, saying that he had dropped a manhole cover on his toe.

I called the pediatric group in Santa Monica and one of the doctors answered the phone. He told me everybody had left but to bring my son in.

He put four stitches in his toe and when I asked him about the bill he said, “Forget about it!”

When I asked my son how he dropped a manhole cover on his toe he said, “Easy!”

  14. mrs_saj November 4, 2022 at 9:49 am #

I am off topic this morning, but we have discussed potential ramifications in the insurance industry on CFN and this warrants a look. A commenter on Zero Hedge mentioned this last night and I did some research. Lincoln National Corporation (ticker LNC) reported earnings and had their conference call yesterday. The stock opened way down yesterday and lost $17.27 on what is now a $34.83 stock. That is an absolutely horrendous day.

I have no financial training; I have just listened to a lot of conference calls. For this one I read the transcript which was posted on SeekingAlpha. Here is what I gleaned:

-The company has 4 or 5 divisions and all were up on revenue (quarter over year ago quarter) including the Life Insurance business/division. One of the divisions was up 18% q over q.

-The company as a whole experienced a net lost of $2.1B. $2.2B of the loss is from the Life Insurance businesss. So the other divisions were contributing modestly or negligibly to net income. The life insurance business has fallen off a cliff in Q3.

-Management is throwing everything they’ve got at the problem. All options are on the table including reallocating across their divisions (exiting life insurance?), exploring other reinsurance options, issuing hybrid securities (bonds) or preferred shares to raise capital. They were asked during the Q&A if the dividend was safe and they said it was. I’m not sure I believe them.

-There was a $2.3B charge from the Life Insurance business and $1.8B of it was from mortality and morbidity varying from the expected as well as customer lapse behavior. So this is not just people dying too fast and the rate of claims going up. This is customers acting in unexpected ways that differs from historical norms. This is called customer persistency. Customers will typically surrender their policies (with a cash balance) and get a payout or let their policies lapse (with no cash balance) and just quit paying premiums at certain historical rates. Either way, the policy is terminated and the premiums for that policy end. People aren’t doing this the way they used to. They are hanging onto their policies and paying the premiums at much higher rates. So the insurance company is scrambling to ensure they have funds to pay the claims on these extra policies when the time comes. I thought this was interesting. People are perceiving a need to keep their life insurance policies in abnormally high numbers

-Their RBC ratio, which is very important and statutorily regulated in insurance (capital on hand/capital required for company’s size and risk profile) has fallen off a cliff and must be replenished asap. The Life Insurance business is the source of 3/4 of the RBC ratio decline.

-Part of the huge charge from the Life Insurance business are updates in the tables the company uses for morbidity and mortality. This I think means that people are dying too fast. There was quite a bit of dialogue about how to gain experience to update these tables.

-Two ratings agencies (S&P and Moody’s) have downgraded the company. One was a downgrade from AA to A and the other was an affirmation of the credit rating but a downgrade of outlook from stable to negative.

There weren’t a ton of questions from the analysts on the call. The first was how long until the company could replenish their RBC ratio (answer: we don’t know) and the third was is the dividend safe (answer: yes it is). I will be curious to see the results of other insurance companies to learn whether this turns the industry upside down or moderates over time. Thanks for reading, I know this stuff is as dry as toast!

Not dry info at all. In fact it’s WOW!

I think the insurance industry will pretty much be toast in 2023. The die offs are increasing and we haven’t reached the peak yet.

I’ve interested to see what ‘duh people’ will do once they figure it out…..”Hey! The shots are killing us!” Quite a few have already figured it out. It just hasn’t gone viral yet. (Pun intended).

    • Alzaebo November 4, 2022 at 10:37 am #

Lordy, insurance co.’s are a major repository of asset value- buildings, capital investments- since they have to reinvest 98% of the money they receive.

An insurance company crash is the same as a banking crash.

    • niner November 4, 2022 at 12:31 pm #

      thanks for that mrs_saj

Edward Dowd has done some investigation on the life insurance stats, as well as the funeral business.

      he’s many places online.

i have not seen anyone report on what happens if the life insurance sector goes belly-up.

nor any reports on how the economy will be impacted by mass death. boccaccio is a place to start. but dated.

      • mrs_saj November 4, 2022 at 12:58 pm #

Thanks for the lead on the funeral home business. The stuff I have read and looked at about embalming corpses today is wildly disgusting. What they are finding in people’s veins when they do the embalming is other-worldly. Professionals in the business for 30 years have never seen anything like it. This stuff is never covered by the “media”.

I am copying JFK’s penchant for referring to Joe Biden with quotes and doing the same with the “media”. The media is dead, a walking zombie with remnants of electrical impulses that enable it to lurch around as if it were still alive.

    • Anthea November 4, 2022 at 12:51 pm #

This is from a comment on ticker forum, excerpted from an article at money dot com:

“According to the most recent report from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, an estimated 31,720 people died in car crashes during the first nine months of 2021.

“That figure represents a 12% increase over the same period in 2020 which also saw an abnormally high number of road fatalities, despite the lower levels of traffic due to America’s widespread shift to lockdown and remote work.

“The 12% increase in road fatalities is the largest year-over-year rise ever recorded by the agency, and the projection of nearly 32,000 deaths on U.S. roads is the highest for any January-September period since 2006.

“For the sake of comparison, in the first nine months of 2011 there were just under 24,000 traffic fatalities. In 2019, there were fewer than 27,000 deaths.”

I can’t post a link, but it’s under the heading, “Not Dangerous Once–Doubly So,” on page 4 of the comments, after some discussion about people seeing a lot of reckless driving–wondering if it’s from neurological damage from the vaccines.

So the car insurance stats reinforce the life insurance statistics.

So, when do the health insurance (doctor visits, hospitalization) stats get correlated?

(Prior thanks to Mary for the big heads up on hospital utilization. They were turning people away and canceling treatment appointments to keep those numbers down.)

I have been on the organ donor list since I was 16; I’m 52 now. I’ve checked with my state and the only time you can update your organ donor election is when you renew your license. My renewal is 2025. So I can’t go in with my passport and say I’ve lost my drivers license and get a new one with a new organ donation election. They’ll only reprint my existing drivers license. I am changing my organ donor election in 2025. Yes, I’m that pissed about the unvaccinated being thrown off organ waiting lists. I will also never donate blood again unless it is going to me, a family member, or a vaccinated person and I have the second most versatile universal donor blood type (good for 93% of the population.

The Oster piece is Exhibit A in why I am so pissed. These people don’t get it yet.

      • Alzaebo November 4, 2022 at 10:47 am #

Holy smokes- me too to 2025, organ donation, and blood type. I hadn’t even thought about organ donation, or about changing it.

Thanks again (the first thanks, for the insurance information above)!

Kunstler’s poetic mastery of detail draws out a fountain of useful info.
CFN commenters, you are the best.

        • Not_GeorgeT November 6, 2022 at 6:13 am #

The blood supply is contaminated. There has been no separation of donated blood based on vaxxed status. The take-away is if you chose to stay away from the jab, having
a blood transfusion likely gives you the jab result from the contaminated blood supply.

The LNP (Lipid NanoParticles) are replicating in the blood of the vaxxed.

Suggest reading Karen Kingston’s work regarding LNP.

      • Anthea November 4, 2022 at 1:02 pm #

My view of the medical establishment, for approximately the last 40 years, is that they are ghouls, and I have never agreed to be an organ donor or to give them a drop of blood.

One of my daughters used to donate blood at every opportunity, until once when she was donating plasma, they nearly killed her. Neither she nor I know what went wrong, but she had to call for help from the nurse (or whatever) when she realized that something had gone badly wrong and she thought she was dying. To my knowledge, she has not donated blood or plasma since. I don’t know how you fuck something like that up, but clearly it can be done.

As we all know–or should know by now–these people are all grossly incompetent. What many of us didn’t know is that they’re ghouls.

        • Jarek November 4, 2022 at 1:55 pm #

She was selling her plasma? That’s banned in many countries because of the dangers. One would hope that actual donation would be more closely supervised. It’s far more serious than mere donation of blood.

          • Anthea November 6, 2022 at 8:00 am #

She was donating plasma, not selling it. (She a bit of a do-gooder.)

I did a bit of googling to find out about plasma donation being banned in other countries, and what the dangers are. Came up mostly empty. About all that a search turns up is articles promoting plasma donation.

      • Jarek November 4, 2022 at 1:53 pm #

A family member or a vaccinated person? Did you mean to say unvaccinated?

        • mrs_saj November 4, 2022 at 3:26 pm #

Yes, sorry I will only bank blood for myself or donate to a family member or donate to an UNvaccinated person. Typo on my part.

Attended an unexpected death funeral of a healthy young 61 year old tourist camp operator in Northwestern Ontario. Autopsy results are pending after 2 weeks. The lockdown of the camp operators had a devastating effect on their businesses. Draw your own conclusions. The political class in Canada vicious.

    • Alzaebo November 4, 2022 at 10:51 am #

      “…is Canada vicious.”

      Wha’ happen to Canada nice?
      Dat’s not da Canadian value!

    • PeteAtomic November 4, 2022 at 7:10 pm #

Sorry to hear about your friend, Prospector.

I can’t imagine the economies (or lack of) around all the little towns around Lac Seul, for example, like Ear Falls whose life blood are fishermen, campers, etc.

It has got to be just desperate.

    • PeteAtomic November 4, 2022 at 7:16 pm #

I also wanted to write Prospector that we here in Minnesota benefited from the Canadian lockdown because people from the States who normally would have vacationed in NW ONT ended up doing that here.

So., I grew up working in part in family-owned resorts. It’s a tough living. You might be able to might make it thru one tight season, but if successive summers have scant tourists, then you’re done. Most resort owners aren’t corporate. They are family owned. The family I worked for actually had retired from the corporate world to run a resort. So. I get it.

61 year old friend of mine died of a stroke. Pain in his side, he passed out. Came around, rushed to hospital…died that evening, in a coma. Guy not sick a day in his life, in good health. Okay.

  20. MaryQueen November 4, 2022 at 10:07 am #

    That last line: BOOM!

Another excellent essay today, James, thank you.

Spot on 100% and well done. These people now pretending to care about their little ‘oopsy’ – well they can take a flying leap. I suppose part of their karmic comeuppance is that so many of them are sick or dying from the quacksine. Still, most of them are still trying to bully the unvaccinated (AKA smart) people in one way or another.

“We were only following orders” – indeed. The same people who pound their chests and cry “never again!” about the Holocaust sure look like the same sort of people who allowed it to happen, even pushed it along, turned in their neighbors, and pretended not to see the death camps.

I do not forgive the Woke Jacobins. Maybe I would, if they weren’t still at it.

Democrats, the Left promote democracy. Their thesis as the election nears.

    Hogwash!

Democracy exists when the people are allowed to speak to and criticize their government. FF Amendment one, the heart of our liberty, the Bill of Rights.

This media, both main stream and social is a frikking joke, we are equivalent to Russia’s Pravda in the last century. I am still amazed that except for a contigent at Fox news, this entire country”s press is not just Leftist, they are socialist, communist, woke, whatever you want to call it.

I think that the takeover of the media by the Left is the number one failure of the American dream.

It is not only Trump either, the next in lines in the GOP are already under attack by the media Communists.

The media should represent the people, us. Half of this country is old schooled, Constitutional folks that salute the flag and what is stands for. The media however is almost one hundred percent anti democracy, anti Constitution, anti American. They represent the Leftist Elite period. They should be the first in lining up against the wall. If it wasn’t for them, this abortion of a government, pun intended, would never have been elected.

In the top five is the Arizona Republic which should be renamed The Arizona SSR.

    • DyersEve November 4, 2022 at 10:30 am #

I remember when the Arizona Republic was quite conservative/moderate up through the mid-90’s. This is what happens when Sherman Act and Anti-Trust law are ignored by Congress and big corps keep getting to buy up the little guys. Group think, high prices, lower quality, few alternatives. Republicans and Democrats have been equally derelict in their responsibilities and are whores for corps.

      • Woodchuck November 4, 2022 at 11:44 am #

It’s nothing that a horrific and grinding economic calamity cannot fix. After doing things by hand again are the only alternatives left, the big guys will be long gone. They either all be dead or they’ll be changed.

OMG I was just saying some of those exact reasons why Emily should not be allowed to get away with her lies, to some people.

If she didn’t know, which is a lie, it is only because she did not want people like me to know better than she.

The Atlantic, the same magazine she wrote that in, personally attackked Alex Berenson over his writings about these things.

Had she looked at the work her colleagues were ridiculing Alex over, she would have had to recognize the pains he took to get it right.

    No two ways about it.

What Oster is doing vis-a-vis Laureen Powell Jobs’ (read:extreme leftist elite) propaganda mouthpiece is introducing the gaslighting.

      • Norville Rogers November 4, 2022 at 10:59 am #

Know what happened Mick? The FBI and/or other federal law enforcement/intelligence entities with the assistance of embedded agitators, plants, and entrapment actors, steered an unorganized group of protestors into the U.S. Capitol.

These herded schlubs schlepped about the conveniently open, unlocked, and un-barricaded offices putting feet on desks and laptops. Regrettably, one unarmed veteran was shot and killed by a conveniently black un-uniformed law enforcement officer… through a closed door (means, opportunity, intent swept under the rug).

Yet the goal was never to entrap the extreme pro-Trump elements. Although their banishment to DC gulags would send a message.

The primary goal was to assign blame for their actions on Trump in accordance with their stated goal of keeping Trump out of the presidency “no matter what”.

And thanks to dependable low-info Micks out there, they’re almost getting away with it.

        • Night Owl November 4, 2022 at 11:07 am #

Unlike the story they put out about the cop being beaten to death with a fire extinguisher, (that they are still pushing, it turns out! even after it was debunked) there was a woman beaten to death by the cops.

I don’t know her name. The story they put out was that she was trampled to death by the crowd, but that was always unlikely. Jan. 6th was no South Korean Halloween. There was no critical mass pushing people up against the wall or each other.

I saw video of the cops beating her, one time, and then it went down the Memory Hole.

          Why?

So with all the supposed male threats to our nation’s capitol that day, their solution was killing 2 women.

            Not surprising.

          • Mick November 4, 2022 at 3:39 pm #

I saw a video of Alex Jones there at the capitol on Jan. 6th. He was on the bullhorn urging everyone to not engage the po-po with violence. He was very emphatic. And, he even tried to get people to follow him to the other side of the building where there was a set up for Trump to show up. Of course Trump wasn’t allowed to show up.

Anyway, the video clearly proves that Jones was NOT egging on the “insurrection”, which is what he was accused of and still is.

          • Paula D November 4, 2022 at 4:01 pm #

They lie. They lie about Alex Jones, they lie about the ”insurrection”, they lie about the cop who had a stroke and they lie about the 2 women killed.

    • SW November 4, 2022 at 10:45 am #

Yes, there are. The S&P has lost 25% from its high mark and home prices are falling too. I heard on the news some reference to the new policy some stores are adopting that there won’t be a Black Friday, all the big markdowns start now. I guess they’re getting a jump on the competition and trying to move inventory.

    • Anthea November 4, 2022 at 1:34 pm #

The Fed raising rates actually has me feeling a little more optimistic about 2023. It suggests that they are doing at least a little something to tame inflation. It’s hard to see how this, even with proposed future hikes, could do the job. Paul Volker had to jack the Fed’s benchmark interest rate all the way up to 20% to tame inflation, back in 1980–when the situation was far less severe in terms of debt.

While Milton Friedman said that “inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon,” it seems to me that there are factors in play, in our present case, in which we’d still have inflation, even if the monetary side of the problem were fixed.

Okay, let’s say the bad debt is purged from the system. Even so, if you stifle energy production and hence productivity, prices must still go up for the end consumer. You still have too many dollars pursuing too few goods. And if energy is scarce, it will be costly–and THAT is NOT a monetary phenomenon.

Government’s National Security Arm Took Charge During the Covid Response

Old saying: ‘Never attribute to malice what can be attributed to stupidity.’ The German blogger ‘Eugyppius’ said a year or two ago how some/much of this was caused by mass formation sending bureaucrats and politicians mad. A.k.a. mass hysteria.

The H1N1/WHO/Pandremix scandal in 2009 was a deliberate conspiracy to hype the virus and profit from a vaccine. It was uncovered. So in 2019/20 they covered their tracks and got into bed with the Deep State to use the finest military-grade psy-ops. to brainwash people. The UK seems to have begun the transition of this to civilian use with the 10 Downing Street ‘Behavioural Insights Team’, now a private company I think.

Greed, not malice, affects many people. Got to meet next year’s financial target … screw the poor patients who get Thalidomide, Vioxx, Prozac or now BioNTech. Read Dr. Peter Gotszche’s 2013 book on the pharma industry, ‘Deadly Medicines and Organised Crime’. It set out there how the mob, sorry ‘industry’ operates and he wrote it a decade ago. (He’s still alive too.)

So, separating the greed and the malice is difficult. Drs. Yeadon, Chetty and Zelenko said publicly early on that it was malice, Malone later agreed but seems to have reversed his position.

      • Norville Rogers November 4, 2022 at 11:34 am #

Fear does a great job of making people stupid.

      • Anthea November 4, 2022 at 2:17 pm #

Professionals in the medical and pharmaceutal fields have a responsibility to know what they’re doing and to make decisions rationally and objectively, without being swayed emotions.

E.g., I have seen people make stupid, careless, and even ruinoius decisions in the handling of other people’s money–while their bookkeeper continually issued ominous warnings. People with a fiduciary responsibility. No, they didn’t do these things for personal gain. It was mainly out of laziness, indifference, and a go-along-to-get-along attitude. I don’t know what the law has to say about that, but I suspect that the breach of basic fiduciary responsibility would be enough to put them in jail if it were known. And these people weren’t cheerleading for bad decisions, or punishing their associates for trying to wake them up to reality. They also weren’t advocating for killing and maiming people or depriving them of their rights. They were just fucking around not doing their jobs.

Now, if you have a responsibility and you can go to jail for just fucking around not doing your job, it seems to me like there is a far greater responsibility to not go around committing mass murder.

      • Jarek November 4, 2022 at 2:21 pm #

Greed is a very effective cover for the real reason to do this: To lower the world’s population.

The people at the tippy top create money out of thin air. They didn’t need this to make more money. They let their underlings to do so to hide their real motives.

And like abused children, the kids will run into the arms of the presently sober guardian.

From the Democrats to the Republicans. Americans played again.

Their hopefulness springs eternal. Just look at the way they embrace the contemporary P.T. Barnum, Elon Musk.

Has the world ever witnessed such a grifter? Undoubtedly not one so well remunerated.

He has the handheld outrage addicts onboard. The sanctimony and insult algorithms will be freed! So he has them believing. Just as he has them believing in tunnels of traffic under LA, electric cars and solars roofs powering the world, not enough people on Earth, and a future for humanity on Mars.

What can’t he make the desperate believe? Let’s see what the unmovable Twitter truth council tells him. No matter, everyone will buy into his latest snake oil

So this must be pandemic Mea Culpa week. Rabid pro-covid vaxxer Ben Shapiro is now expressing regret over both pushing and taking the clot shots.

I just read this on the latest COVID Blog website. I can’t link it because if I did this post would be blocked.

    I’ll go this far….. thecovidblog(DOT)com

Yes, Shapiro is allegedly a conservative. But I think he was rabidly pro-vaxx because of something else…… But I dare not say.

I do not understand his appeal. With his absurd Steve Erkel (white guy parody) voice and his breathless staccato cadence I am simply unable listen to him.

He is the human form of a stck-up-one’s-@$$.

He does a great job of arguing against kids on campuses, but put him against a learned adult and he fails.

He found his niche and he made a hustle.

      • Mick November 4, 2022 at 11:40 am #

I’ve never understood his appeal either. He can’t hold his own against any adult, liberal or conservative. Malcolm Nance, deep state lib extraordinaire, made mince meat of Shapiro on Maher’s show last year. It was embarrassing.

Yes, he’s piled up a nice stack of shekels despite his limitations. That’s for sure.

Forgive and forget? um…no. That is really not up to me. I am, however, grateful to people like Oster for making life so uncomfortable for so many of us that we had to wake up and see what was really going on all around us. This is now my 2nd year of homeschooling my kids after witnessing the sad lack of education being provided by our school systems. Best decision ever! As for not taking the shot, Easy. The information was all there for anyone willing to look. The fear that they were pushing was incredible. To those of us that stood strong against it….Bravo!

” Fear does a great job of making people stupid. ”

I never but thought that theory was total bullshit .

Fear is a very uncomfortable position to be in .

Consequently, it’s a good bet that the very first thing a genuinely afraid person would do is set about determining if there is actually a reason to be afraid.

No sense suffering over what to turns out to be only a creaking board , a trick of the light , a misreading of the fine print.

For another example , I have rarely ever seen a defendant hauled before a court , with good reason to be afraid , who did not listen very carefully to the verdict.

No sense having a heart attack when the judge actually said , ” Time served and a fine ” , instead of , ” five years in prison. ”

In contrast , ” I’m afraid ” is commonly the go – to excuse for malice and greed.

    • malthuss November 4, 2022 at 12:15 pm #

It seems that once again you mistake me for a snake – handling Protestant , and no matter how many times it has been pointed out to you that I am not.

My best , theory , albeit a theory , is that the vast majority of people will go to Purgatory.

I suppose you need find yourself a Protestant, a Jew , an Atheist , or the folks who issue fishing licenses.

Then too I flippantly wonder sometimes if you were ever really a policeman.

I would think a policeman would know better than most that threats of Hell don’t scare evil people.

          Jarek,
          No resentment. We never argued. She would ask, occasionally, if I wanted to go to church, and I would decline…but with reservation;

“If you can get the choir to sing “Wreck on the Highway”, I would go.

Regarding Kesa’s opinion on Hell not scaring evil people…they may not have feared Hell, but they had a hell of a lot of respect for the OPD….,

Maybe that is one definition of “fear”?

    • Norville Rogers November 4, 2022 at 12:28 pm #

How much evidence does one need to determine that irrational fear leads people to act stupidly and make stupid decisions?

History is replete with such instance, and it goes on.

Otherwise intelligent, educated, and quantifiably “smarter” people, ones not prone to using leisure time to post away online, made and make stupid decisions based on emotion.

We only have a limited core range of base emotions.

Fear is one of them. But we have devised many names to mask the fear.

Would not want to “appear” stupid.

      • Jarek November 4, 2022 at 2:31 pm #

Yes, people in the lower levels of the Capstone were afraid of being thrown back down to the plateau, so they did what they were told. Those on the plateau pulled strings on the people right below them, and those people pulled the strings of those below them – and so on down the many tiers of the Pyramid.

Fear of losing one’s position, job, money, family, or even one’s life are the strings that keep people in line.

On the positive side, As Buddha said, Fear and shame are the guardians of the world. Imagine what people would do if they weren’t afraid. We know because the people at the top are doing it – because they don’t fear God.

        • Edge Lord November 4, 2022 at 3:00 pm #

well, they certainly don’t fear the DOJ or ICC

Some people get off on victimhood, and fear-adrenalin.

    • tbone0106 November 4, 2022 at 3:26 pm #

I think what fear does is expose stupidity in short order. Either the intellect is not up to handling the danger, or (most likely in this case) the mindset (a major component of stupidity) can’t adapt to the circumstances.

  37. KesaAnna November 4, 2022 at 12:17 pm #

” ‘Never attribute to malice what can be attributed to stupidity.’ ”

I never liked that formula either.

An evil person may never the less be your equal , in intelligence , in capacity , even in Virtue.

But if you can successfully label a person stupid ( i.e. like a five – year – old , or a person suffering from dementia )

You can strip them of every right , and in good conscience too.

    • KesaAnna November 4, 2022 at 12:20 pm #

I might call a formula like this ,

” The charity that keeps on taking. “

    • Jarek November 4, 2022 at 2:33 pm #

If they are Evil, then they aren’t equal in virtue.

But yes, it’s good but used too often. The opposite fits our situation better: Never attribute to stupidity (or carelessness) what can be attributed to malice.

    • Blackbird November 4, 2022 at 10:55 pm #

It’s called Hanlon’s razor, and while its origins may be innocent – Murphy’s Law Book Two: More Reasons Why Things Go Wrong! (1980) – it has become, in my opinion, a dangerous piece of misdirection. Sounds good – must be true!

Emily Oster is essentially trying to use Hanlon’s razor to cut the noose that should be around her – and others’ – neck(s). “We weren’t trying to kill you! We were trying – maybe a little too urgently – to save you!”

The spin that ends in: “We were victims too! Maybe even more victimized than you!”

    Then there’s this:

“We oppose censorship and believe in free speech, but …”

Speaking of scolds, nannies and pettifoggers.

    • Mick November 4, 2022 at 12:29 pm #

Ah….The harmful content must have been something like, “Marriage should only be between a real man and a real woman”. Or, “No one should transition before the age of 18”. Or the really harmful possibility, “Parents inherently have more say in their kid’s lives than school administrators”.

      • KesaAnna November 4, 2022 at 12:46 pm #

” Or the really harmful possibility, “Parents inherently have more say in their kid’s lives than school administrators”. ”

Well I have been called an enemy of the United States ( though , granted , I am )

Or a backward , superstitious, spiteful medievalist for claiming precisely that.

Hell hath no fury like an American voter denied their control – freak wishes.

Communists and Nazis were scarcely necessary.

        • Mick November 4, 2022 at 12:58 pm #

I’m quickly seeing that you are just someone who likes to be a contrarian. It gets your juices flowing I’m sure.

I consider myself to be an enemy of the US Guvmint. Well, pretty much all guvmints. And I am not loathe to point out the failings of the USA historically when it needs to be pointed out.

But parents insisting that they have more say in their kid’s lives than administrators does not make them “control freaks”.

Such people on the internet are known as “Edgelords”.

The least one can do is be honest about it, eh?

          • KesaAnna November 4, 2022 at 2:25 pm #

This wouldn’t be the first time someone on CFN insulted me

            FOR AGREEING WITH THEM.

Maybe I’m smelling my own farts ?

Or maybe I’m actually a poor writer ?

Or maybe your reading comprehension cannot see beyond your enchoate and arbitrary likes and dislikes ?

Like no matter how many times I agree with , or come to the aid of , Jarek , he can’t seem to see beyond my sex and skin color ?

Or Elysianfield seems to bust my chops when I’m sticking up for Christianity , or ridiculing the police ,

But seems not so busy when I’m in a particular case the only one on CFN defending a police action ?

            Time will tell I suppose.

One thing you seemingly have already gotten wrong about me is that I did not get to be 56 years old because a broken heart would kill me.

Contratrian perhaps , because certainly as a matter of fact unless you happen to be German , or are rushing down to the Catholic Church to join , I really could care less whether you like me ,

            Or dislike me.

            And for future reference ;

I have pretty much been on the internet as long as there has been an internet.

Since the punch card Era thereabouts.

And long ago concluded the internet is the worst possible place to look for friends.

            Why ?

            For example ,

While I have never actually read it myself , a great many folks say that , ” In Cold Blood ” is a gritty , grim masterpiece that makes Mickey Spillane look like light reading for children.

But then you go look at an old interview on YouTube of the author who wrote it ,

And ask yourself incredulously, ” THIS GUY WROTE THAT ??? ! ”

            Indeed he did.

Ones literary persona and ones real life persona can be as different as night , from day ,

No dishonesty or deception required , it just works out that way.

Abraham Lincoln could write really pretty.

But then Hitler and Trotsky could write beautifully too.

Last , but not least , I have not been on CFN three years ( ? ) because JHK is a lousy writer.

But my best guess , and it is a guess , after three years investigation ,

Is that most likely in real life JHK would hate my guts , and his very presence would sorely irritate me.

I think it an error to conflate the written word with flesh and blood.

I do not look for friends on the internet.

And while I certainly think the internet has its virtues , I think it anything but a social medium.

          • Jarek November 4, 2022 at 2:41 pm #

Kari Lake often talks about “free and fair elections”. Sounds great. But what happens when its a fair election and you lose, and the winner is disgusted by your very existence?

It’s about culture and the worldview and presuppositions that create that culture. If two cultures have drifted so far apart (or one alien culture has invaded and taken over the other), then I scarcely think there can be any other result than the annihilation (or at the very least a complete routing and submission) of one of the two.

    • JohnAZ November 4, 2022 at 3:31 pm #

      Two observations

One. The electorate is split and the critical races are 50-50 +/- and couple of percent. Problem is our voting systems cannot resolve the difference and a few illegal ballots here and there can make a significant difference. It is just too easy to cheat. First Hillary in 16 and then Trump in 20. Who did it? Both were so assured of victory that the loss, whether legitimate or not, was so bitter it has bred violence on our society, which is violent in the first place.

Two. Getting rid of mail in ballots is the only way to ensure that one person one vote is happening. A good example is if you sign into a website they first want a user and password. When that was not secure enough, they feed you another pass number to confirm that the recipient is really you. Double checking with ID info flowing both directions ensures valid identification.

The current ID method, a signature and a date is hogwash. Especially when the cheaters are running ballots without either. The only solution is in person voting with identification bu Picture ID for the election judge, then a password to get into the voting machine that is unique to the person on the picture ID. Once that password is entered, that person cannot vote again at the national level.

The picture ID will stop dead or relocated voters. The password will stop repeat voters and state line crossers. Getting rid of mail in ballots will stop ballot stuffing and illegal ballots.

Sounds great doesn’t it. Until you realize that the number one group who would oppose it is the pols themselves as it will stop their ability to cheat.

One more, no damn internet. Countering machines only hooked into the voting machines. No internet, no computers anywhere.

The system is one counting machine counting the inputs from a district, or a state, whatever the number of voters needs. So a thousand voting machines could be input into a single counter. A good rule would be that no one is allowed in a room containing the counting machine.

A really good aspect of this would be the fact that when the vote count is stopped at the voting machine level, the counts are totaled already. When the “seal is broken” on the counting machine, the results are in. Single night results would be the norm. East coast results could be delayed until west coast voting is complete on federal voting. Another good thing could be that many backwater precincts could have their votes counted by machine as fast as the big cities districts stopping the delays that bring on fraud.

This was a righteous essay today and a stirring call for justice.

But I want to add that we need to focus on the ongoing releases of “variants” that our ruling overlords are using to keep up the fear and push the GMO injectables.
We cannot focus on the past while ignoring the present.

I repeat the conclusion of the Russian MoD’s report on the bioweapon labs….

I’m skeptical that a general strike would be useful, mainly because so many of the PTB’s actions have been to literally shut down the economy, or to put policies in place (like limiting energy production, refining, and transport) that have that effect.

The only peaceful way out, it seems to me, is secession. Since few states seem to be actively pursuing this option, maybe people could petition their county governments to put pressure on their state governments to develop a plan for state secession.

States should start disengaging with the federal government in every way possible–which, unfortunateloy, would mainly involve not accepting federal funds for much of anything. Maybe states could refuse to accept federal funds or comply with federal mandates while at the same time asserting that their citizens were thus not obligated to pay taxes to the federal government. (States would have to back that one up with measures to protect their citizens from federal prosecution.) Anyway, at least start the process.

If several states began framing legislation to the effect, it might at least give the federal government a wake-up call.

The other big thing that states would have to address is creating a monetary system and reorganizing their banking systems. I’d say if a state can work out the above issues, they’d be about nine-tenths of the way towards solving the problems of secession.

          • Anthea November 4, 2022 at 7:33 pm #

Then, as independent nations, states could join the BRICS.

The election will work (but not the way I think you had in mind), and Hell will be paid (it always is – and we pay the interest, forever).

Secession doesn’t have a very successful record in this country – not since the first attempt anyway. But if we’re gonna explore in that direction, how about secession by counties? Townships? We could have constantly shifting patchworks composed of alliances of countries, states/provinces, townships, free cities – like the Holy Roman Empire. Sure, it had its problems, but it lasted nearly 1,000 years.

          • Woodchuck November 5, 2022 at 1:19 am #

Secession will be on the table front and center only after the collapse of the dollar. Then the states will have nothing to lose. Also, without access to fuel, most everyone in the USA will die. Once people understand this, and that secession will be the only way to get food and fuel, nearly everyone will be on board. The EU will collapse first with all the Western nations seceding and becoming sovereign again. The USA will be a year or two maybe behind the EU in the cracking-up-into-pieces process. It will be the only way for the project of civilized living to continue.

One quick look and it was obvious that what I was seeing was evidence of the release of a bioweapon by the US. Mostly one variant in China, another in Iran, another in Italy, almost nothing in-between, but in the US, 4 variants showed roughly equal representation.

          Nothing natural about “Covid”.

” By now, everybody and his uncle has seen Emily Oster’s plea for “pandemic amnesty” in The Atlantic magazine, ”

Actually I had not a clue who Emily Oster was , and still Don’t.

Which I think is an albeit small evidence that we aren’t talking about dozens or even hundreds of malefactors , but thousands , or even millions.

What about the parent , for example , whom we suspect vaxxed their kids not for securities sake but for conformaties sake?

I need not ask if this is a serious crime , because you have in fact sent people to prison for reckless endangerment.

God forbid that such puerile status – seeking did NOT result in a dead child.

For , otherwise , how many penniless orphans would such prosecutions create ?

And are you planning on inviting all those orphans over to your place ?

Granted , no doubt you would say that you have a good reason to prosecute millions , and the Nazis didn’t.

But at these scales , I would wonder why you would even bother with such hair – splitting.

After the first few hundred , or thousand , or a million , what’s a few more ?

And how shall you process them ?

With volunteer Burger King cashiers ?

No , I reckon you will need scores more lawyers , judges , court stenographers , paralegals , policemen , prison gaurds , etc , etc , etc .

Let’s double down on all that ,

Because it has worked so fucking good so far !

    Nuremberg?

70 years later they were still spending millions you don’t have to prosecute corporals now so senile that they can’t remember what they had for breakfast this morning , much less can they remember what they did or did not do in a six month period seventy years ago.

Meanwhile folks who by their own admission deliberately carpet – bombed residential neighborhoods full of children and grandmother’s recieve praise and pensions and scarcely even a wet noodle reprimand.

There was no immunity for the drug companies in those days.
I think they rolled out another RSV vaccine this century, but I don’t know how many parents fall for it.

      Hmmm

Wonder if this hospital overload situation stems from the breakdown of access to primary care?

Sorry, it is after hours or we are booked until next month.

So what do you do with a sick child!

      ER or urgent care!!

Used to be if you got the sniffles, a headache or a sore throat, you went to the drugstore and got a treatment for your cold or even flu. Why? Because the doctor could not treat viruses. So you treated your symptoms until they went away. If it got so bad, or did not improve in a few days, then you went to the ER or primary care.

Hmmm, could it be that by trumpeting Covid the medical community has locked in generations of patients by inducing fear of “colds”.

      • MaryQueen November 4, 2022 at 3:42 pm #

Good point. Another way the medical industrial complex rakes in more money are people going to the ER with the sniffles.

      • Paula D November 4, 2022 at 4:12 pm #

They don’t hospitalize children for the sniffles.

Yes, idiots show up at the ER all the time with the sniffles, but they get treated and streeted, they don’t get admitted.

This is a more serious strain of RSV. The question is- where did it come from?

        • JohnAZ November 4, 2022 at 4:19 pm #

With Covid incentives and the fear of the symptoms of Covid, sniffles and sore throat, are you sure they are not getting admitted?

Let alone the unreliability of the PCR testing.

          • Paula D November 4, 2022 at 9:20 pm #

They are getting admitted for RSV not covid.

And the RSV swab has been around for decades. I used to test kids all the time.

They don’t admit for a positive test of any kind, they admit for respiratory distress.

      • tully November 5, 2022 at 7:02 am #

Reducing staffing to bare bones, which hospitals were doing long before covid hit, can also lead to overload situations. Now, I think they are struggling to keep enough people for minimum staffing. Lots of HCWs have left the field the last couple years. I’ve noticed the local community college doing heavy advertising for their health care programs.

“Emily Oster’s plea for ‘pandemic amnesty’…”

To be granted ‘Amnesty!’ there first need to be some pre-conditions fully agreed-to by all involved Parties. All those who promoted the CovidCon in any ways large and small need to do the following things:

    1. Stay locked inside their homes for two years. Plus fifty more.

    2. Take a healthy dose of those death injections. Every hour. And then all the boosters. Until they begin to look like human pincushions and do lots of leaking.

    3. Lose their jobs and businesses. Become homeless and live in one of those Biden-towns.

    4. Wear a double-layer of masks 24 hours a day.

    5. Engage in ‘intimate activity’ while staying six-feet-apart from each other.

    6. Have their children lose two years of effective schooling with enhanced feelings of fear and distrust of others.

    7. Have their anti-social media accounts prominently flagged as Disinformation. Forever.

    8. No leaving the house for a walk or exercise. In fact, no leaving the bedroom even to go to the bathroom.

    9. Beg… plead… bargain… then beg and plead and bargain some more while asking for ‘Mercy” and ‘Understanding’.

    10. Claw-back of all ill-gotten State powers to get involved in personal health matters and to declare lockdowns and similar infringements on human freedom.

    11. Lose all professional credentials.

    12. Accept the permanent role of being shamed social outcasts.

    And finally…

Full restitution in all ways monetary, full and sincere apologies, restoration of full job status, restoration of health for all injured persons… return of all ill-gotten gains, and a very public denunciation with lusty shaming and ridicule of Doctors ‘The Science!’ and ‘The Data Lady’, the entire demonic Big Pharma Industrial Complex, Donald Trump, Joe Biden, and all the others.

All persons harmed in any way by these medical deceivers and dark-science wizards must receive full and complete restitution in all manners…

And THEN… Quadruple Damages and forgiveness of all Federal Taxes for the next 5,000 years…

And THEN… and only THEN… will we even begin to think about… ‘Amnesty’.

    Before we say… HELL… EFFING… NO.

John, I feel you are misinformed about monarchies. That’s mankind’s long term default system. What’s going on right now with rule by republic is failing badly and falling apart. Historically speaking, republics don’t last long, with the average age of one being 250 years. We’re at that point on our timeline, and it’s very likely why we are failing. Democracies and republics don’t have the citizens capable of making good voting decisions. They never have and never will. It just won’t and can’t work long term.

          • Jarek November 5, 2022 at 1:25 pm #

Not enough of such citizens, not by far. President Jackson opened up the franchise to the mob, hoping to beat the Elite that way. He underestimated their stupidity and the cunning of the Elite – past Masters of leading the hoi polloi.

Going the other way is a better answer. The Founders weren’t strict enough about the requirements to vote – tying it into being White, Male, and owning land. Those are just for starters with the one about owning land not really a good metric. Just be financially solvent.

      • Woodchuck November 5, 2022 at 1:04 am #

Well what to do then? What happens if there is a complete breakdown and vast numbers of enraged mobs way beyond the point of reason – drag each and every “official” they can find – out of their offices and homes and beat them to death with no mercy out on the sidewalks and in the parking lots. Onlookers will hear the thumping/smacking sound of hundreds of pick handles, axes, and clubs impacting full force on human flesh. Even going as far as mob marches with heads on pikes leading the way? Would that satisfy?

        • SW November 5, 2022 at 3:42 pm #

No one is advocating violence, only accountability. The True Believers hate to face the fact — much less admit — that the knuckle draggers (or any Trump voter, scientist or doctor who dared ask a question) were right along.

          Lockdowns don’t work
          Masks don’t work
          Social distancing doesn’t work
          Closing schools doesn’t work
Closing bars, restaurants, businesses doesn’t work
          Vaccines don’t work
          Vaccine passports don’t work

In fact, Emily & all you other “science believers”, it was the science that proved you were hypnotized into believing you could protect yourself (& crush the nonbelievers) by following science into a dead end. Sweden figured out in under one month all of the above so please don’t say you didn’t know.

Then we, the people, can have the satisfaction of throwing rotten eggs and tomatoes and excrement at the arrogant fiends who have tortured us and now demand our understanding for their so earnest efforts on our behalf, and amnesty for any “misunderstandings”.

    • JohnAZ November 4, 2022 at 4:23 pm #

      Forgive, but never forget.

Forgiveness is for you, not the bad guy who wronged you.

Forgiveness is letting the wrong that was done no longer control you.

It IS NOT letting the bastard off the hook.

      • Blackbird November 4, 2022 at 9:50 pm #

JAZ, I think you may be modifying the meaning of “forgive” just a little bit, leaving out the “no longer wanting to punish” part. “Forgive” evolved from the same root – perdonare – as “pardon”. Maybe it should evolve in the direction you are pushing it. Let “forgive” and “pardon” go their separate ways. Anyway…

Could you honestly walk up to Fauci – or anyone else all the way down to this lowly spin doctor Oster – and say “I forgive you”? For intentionally killing and maiming millions of people? Hell no. It was no accident. There are no excuses. Their pictures should be on the Post Office wall until they are imprisoned – for life in most cases – or dead.

But you are correct, don’t let them hijack your emotions. If you are one of the lucky ones to hand over a varmint carcass, don’t smile as you collect your bounty.

Noam Chomsky said the unvaccinated should starve. I kept copies of the tweet or article where he was quoted.

Sean Penn said that being unvaccinated was the same as driving drunk, insinuating that we are all potential murderers.

US nuclear forces chief says Ukraine ‘just the warmup’ for larger crisis
Andrew Feinberg – Yesterday 9:39 AM

The senior naval officer in charge of America’s nuclear triad says the current worldwide tensions sparked by Russia’s war against Ukraine could be the opening act for a larger conflict that the US must prepare for.

n remarks at the Naval Submarine League’s 2022 Annual Symposium & Industry Update, US Strategic Command commander Admiral Charles Richard said the Ukraine crisis “is just the warmup”.

“The big one is coming, and it isn’t going to be very long before we’re going to get tested in ways that we haven’t been tested a long time,” he said.

Mr Richard said US forces’ “level of deterrence” against China – a major competitor and adversary – is “slowly sinking” because the Chinese have been able to build and deploy more “capability in the field” at a faster rate than their American counterparts.

“As those curves keep going, it isn’t going to matter how good our [operating plan] is or how good our commanders are, or how good our horses are – we’re not going to have enough of them. And that is a very near-term problem,” he said, though he added that the US submarine force remains “maybe the only true asymmetric advantage we still have against our opponents”.

In August, Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Mike Gilday told the conservative Heritage Foundation think tank that the most significant barrier to boosting US naval capabilities is “an industrial capacity that’s limited”.

Successive waves of base closures and defence budget cuts have led the US to close formerly government-owned naval shipyards and transfer more and more responsibility to private contractors, leaving far fewer facilities capable of building or maintaining warships than were available during prior conflicts.

It appears the DNC is dragging out the dinosaurs Obama and Hillary.

    Hey Barry go fuck yourself.

BREAKING: Today I called out @BarackObama for supporting @katiehobbs , a woman running for AZ Gov who has a history of discriminating against BLACK PEOPLE at the Democrats Rally here in PHX, AZ

Democrat supporters unleashed screaming in my face and deported me from the rally pic.twitter.com/1noTXduzZ6

    — Drew Hernandez (@DrewHLive) November 3, 2022
“I I I … Are you going to start yelling?” Obama said. “Don’t start yelling. Don’t start yelling. Why do you start yelling?”

The event on Wednesday was interrupted by a member of the audience who reportedly asked Obama about his support for gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs (D-Ariz.), who allegedly has a history of discriminating against black people.

Hobbs reportedly fired a black staffer in 2015, causing racial controversy. She was forced to apologize afterward.

Obama appeared visibly irritated with the heckler, telling him to “set up his own rally.”

“Don’t get distracted,” Obama said. “Wait, wait, wait. Hold up. Hold up. Hey, young man. Young man, just listen for a second. You know, you have to be polite and civil when people are talking then other people are talking, and then you get a chance to talk. Set up your own rally.”

The former president was also faced with hecklers during a recent rally in Michigan. There, attendees asked him about the U.S. government’s role in the Ukraine crisis.

    Hey, where is Redneck Liberal?

Strange goings on in New Zealand, and I’m not talking about summary arrest and a $50,000 fine for the crime of ‘Wrongspeak.’ Oh, their nanny scold of a PM is cracking down on speech alright but what I’m referring to is the government seizing farmland from private owners for the purpose of “reducing methane emissions” lol. Apparently the NZ PM has gone balls to the wall for WEF climate mandates and is cracking down on farmers and ranchers, which seems a little shortsighted considering agricultural products are NZs main export. The truth is that little pissant country could sink into the Pacific Ocean and it wouldn’t make a goddam bit of difference to the world’s climate.

I’m sure the cuckoo kiwi is right on board with Jacinda the nut.

He’s come this far, he can’t admit he’s wrong, now!

I’m sure he’ll inform us why the farmers and ranchers deserve to have the government confiscating their businesses and land.

“Balls to the wall” – lmao

Mary, are real estate prices tanking in Boise? I read an article today claiming recent arrivals are already regretting the prices they paid for houses just a year or two ago. I think that might be happening all over the country now that mortgage rates are topping 6%. I believe I read that on the CNBC site.

        • MaryQueen November 4, 2022 at 9:40 pm #

I haven’t been paying much attention, but I was gobsmacked when in August, my landlord didn’t raise my rent. So yeah, I think the ‘boom’ might be over – that was fast. Nevertheless, the new subdivisions and rabbit hutch apartments are being built. I hate seeing the new ugly treeless subdivisions on the foothills… absolutely grotesque.

        • MaryQueen November 4, 2022 at 9:41 pm #

Also, BRH, I have not seen nearly as many “for sale” signs. So I think you are probably spot on.

    • GreenAlba November 4, 2022 at 9:24 pm #

Less farmland = more space for elite bunkers. NZ has always been their favourite home from home when the going gets tough.

      • BackRowHeckler November 4, 2022 at 9:35 pm #

Well, similar to what’s going on in the Netherlands, GA. Where is the food supposed to come from if they’re closing farms? One wonders why the PMs of NZ & The Netherlands aren’t looking out for the interests of their own citizens instead of sucking up to Schwab and his WEF?

The Netherlands is to apparently to become a ‘tri-state city’:

          riotimesonline.com/brazil-news/modern-day-censorship/megalopolis-tristate-city-instead-of-farmers-in-netherlands/

          tristatecity.nl/

No room for farmers as they need to build rail links to everywhere.

Instead of farms, there are to be ‘food innovation hubs’, or something like that, which presumably won’t involve anything we currently think of as food. That’s the plan around the globe, not just the Netherlands.

          • GreenAlba November 4, 2022 at 9:58 pm #

And of course the plan doesn’t involve quite so many of us requiring food.

          • Rulo Deschamps November 4, 2022 at 11:00 pm #

Yeah, you know the hype: vertical hydroponic farms operated by robots, blah blah. Technotopia.

The hope is that a crash in available energy will soon make this BS fade away, and large numbers of people realize they need to get a hoe and do what diesel and chemicals were doing before… for maybe a loaf of bread and and egg a day. That’s what you get for muscle-powered organic agriculture.

The spinach towers with their pumps, lights and robots will be dark.

          • BackRowHeckler November 5, 2022 at 6:20 am #

Food Innovation Hubs? Sounds a little like Collective Farms set up by the Bolsheviks in eastern Ukraine & western Russia 1931-1933. Of course there was resistance, which paved the way to the Holodomor. Another Holodomor, is that what’s in the offing?

          • GreenAlba November 5, 2022 at 7:33 am #

Food innovation hubs – from the horse’s mouth (or the pig’s maw, if you prefer):

            weforum.org/press/2021/01/food-innovation-hubs-put-farmers-at-head-of-the-table-for-systems-change

I think we’re all agreed that the US is a better place to fight the WEF future, because a large part of the population is not on board and will resist to the last.

India has little chance – they started attacking Indian farmers decades ago with their seed patents, so that many just committed suicide because they couldn’t feed their families. And they already have their digital ID system in place for all state-related necessities, like healthcare and subsidies. What happens in the Netherlands (and I heard the German farmers were protesting too, also some in Easern Europe?) will be significant.

Here in the UK, the government is paying farmers £100,000 to retire early or quit, to enable ‘rewilding’ of their land (for ‘rewilding’ read ‘compulsory purchase by WEF’).

Rulo, always good to hear from you when time allows. May your loaf and your egg always taste of the love you put into producing them.

An Oxford professor (what else …) argues that it is ethical to let meat eaters die, because of the harm they do to animals. So, if one fell into a lake in front of you, you shouldn’t feel bad for just letting him/her drown. Greater good and all that.

    msn.com/en-gb/lifestyle/other/oxford-philosopher-says-it-s-ethical-to-let-someone-die-if-they-re-a-meat-eater/ar-AA13K2aG

He’s a meat eater himself, though, although he’s called Professor Plant. 🙂

Greed alone having caused the c19 paradigm shift would, at this point, be a comfort. A predictable part of the human condition, greed. I could deal with that. Ineffective placebos rushed in to make some rich fucks richer. OK.

But there’s high weirdness going on. Nothing can be ruled out. My take, and I’m nobody and know nothing, is a full blossoming of the Wuhan seed not in my generation (51), or my children’s (20’s), but their children. An altered DNA, perhaps requiring compliance to entitle one to antidote shots. Nanotech, culling, bioweapon: nothing is to weird to contemplate.

The Huxley brothers were visionary intellectual titans; like so many intellectuals, alas, they lacked, or buried, the moral spark. I’m thinking Julian, the biologist, but mainly Aldous, the writer, who sketched the world now being born. The double helix, messed with. Authoritarianism at the molecular level. Alphas and Epsilons both happy because they are what they were meant to be, high or low servants of the State. DNA fascism.

Carpe Diem, serve others, plant bok-choi and sell it at the farmers market. Respect the gopher tortoises and the deer if they eat some of the bok- choi, too. As gustafson explained, and everyone that pays attention knows, the natural world is in collapse. Forget climate change. Depleted soils, fisheries, topsoils, rainforests, plastic apocalypse, water shortages, nuclear waste. What can I do? Plant seeds and breathe, don’t fall into the narcotic bliss of TV and a bottle, think, act, cherish each day lived in freedom and happiness because anytime things could get a lot worse.

D and R are part of the problem, not the solution. Still, I went and voted for my Gov, DeSantis, just as a sign of respect for the way he stood against the covid blitzkrieg and preserved a degree of freedom for us Floridians. I left the rest of the ballot blank, including the warmonger Rubio. But I had to show the governor some respect.

    • MaryQueen November 4, 2022 at 11:04 pm #

Nice to see you, Rulo. I think DeSantis also deserved your vote.

I do think our DNA has collectively been altered, but since I also believe Mother Nature bats last, I suppose that at some point it will be sorted (probably after a long era of ugliness though).

All we can do is try to survive the best we know how. I’d say in that, you’re ahead of the game, so good on you.

      • JohnAZ November 5, 2022 at 10:45 am #

        Mary

I watched a you tube about the effects of viruses long term on species.

The program showed that viral “pandemics affect the DNA of the species attacked. Could it be that the DNA changes to sensitize the organism’s immune system to cancel the stamp of the virus. Is the continuing DNA sequences a record of the organism’s fight against the micro environment that continuously tries to “eat” it. Meiosis continuously changes the DNA character of the organism to keep the “bugs” at bay. Could it be that viruses cause DNA change for the same effect.

The show showed that viruses in the past can be traced into sequences in the DNA Now. Remember that herd immunity affects a species? Remember the DNA modification that was evidenced from both the virus and the vaxx changed DNA by placing viral reverse transcriptase into the host DNA. In the evolutionary crap shoot, DNA modification may cause immunity to viruses. The variations of viruses is the reverse, their adaptation to offset our evolution. It is a war.

One more, thinking about 2020 and our narcissistic government. Nothing scares power people more than the inability to control people or situations. Covid was and still is a perfect example. An agent that kills without remorse. Sorta like Jaws. Scared the heck out of the entire ruling class. Their efforts to control the “pandemic” did nothing. My guess is putting people in the hospital and tubing them in response to lowering O2sat may have killed many more people than if they had just treated the symptoms.

Finally, all this for a .1% problem. Never let a crisis pass —-. Hindsight is 20-20.

        • MaryQueen November 5, 2022 at 11:58 am #

          Good points.

But some of us actually saw it and realized what they were doing as it happened, and no one listened to us.

          • JohnAZ November 5, 2022 at 12:46 pm #

The panic cancelled out the words from the group of scientists calling out the warnings.

The mRNA model, as told by their research scientists, should work like a champ. It was sold to Trump et al based on the model.

You know the difference between scientists and engineers? Scientists come up with ideal solutions and engineers make them actually work overcoming the defects of the design.

That is what happened here. The scientists put their model on display and the engineers said, there are potential problems here. The model insists there is no leakage of the mRNA into the blood stream or even the blood brain barrier. Then they put the m RNA into a hypodermic needle and assumed that nothing would go into the blood or leak into the brain. Boy, were they wrong. Leakage happens everywhere that needle goes in. How could they think that a needle in a muscle would not invade blood vessels of all sizes. Remember the IM procedure? Pull back to check for blood? Remember that normal IM infections use the capillaries to slowly dispense meds into the bloodstream? The nurse et al that shot everyone did not follow protocol, I will guarantee that. Too fast, and too many folks.

Then there is the s protein, whose job it is to hurt the host, supposedly in the muscle injected, to allow the host immune system to build resistance, which it does, then disappear as the immune system destroys them. Hmmm. Except that it is probable that DNA is altered creating S protein generating modified host cells. Except that s proteins may last a long time and cause recurrent inflammation. Except that s proteins attach to just about every organ but especially the heart and circulatory system. Remember that ACE2 is for blood pressure control. Except that the mRNA escapes the muscle and invades all areas of the body converting all kinds of host cells to s protein generators. Except that these new mRNA modified cells are IDed by the immune system as non host and inflammation happens EVERYWHERE.

An accurate description of the vaxx, IMHO, is injecting Covid into the bloodstream. Covid itself invades the nose and mouth, hence the lung is attacked. The Vaxx has access to the entire body.

Could it be that the end result of the vaxx is that we have been injected with long term Covid? Some research, I believe is looking into this.

But what about the nanobots & graphene oxides, the components that build tiny little machines when you zap the poor ‘vaxxed’ host with wifi? Or do you agree that that is just the utter nonsense it sounds like?

    • Jarek November 5, 2022 at 1:35 pm #

The main project is killing most of us off, but they may be doing other things as well. There was some really interesting footage gathered of the nano-tech opening up in the bloodstream of the vaxed, with an explosion of beautiful colors, and then movement as it began to assemble.

Obviously the remnant of humanity is not going to be unaltered, though they would be wise to leave some in their natural state in case the whole thing fails – assuming they even care.

  75. Zoltar November 4, 2022 at 10:39 pm #

My letter to Ms. Oster, sent Tuesday:

“We need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID.” You may have been in the dark – thousands of us were not, and were persecuted for resisting the dominant Big Pharma narrative. The whole endemic and its aftermath was not some innocent blunder, even if credulous academics simply got aboard the bandwagon. It has cost thousands of lives and will continue to do so, while the economy will never recover from the idiotic lockdown.

“Forgive?” You ask too much. Perpetrators should be prosecuted with a vengeance, and enablers such as yourself should pay the price of their intellectual credibility, at the very least.

    • SoftStarLight November 4, 2022 at 11:39 pm #

It sounds like a very polite letter. My bigger confusion is around this whole notion of an expected attitude of forgiveness. When people commit war crimes, crimes against humanity, and treasons it isn’t about forgiveness. With all due respect call upon the Lord for that. No. It’s about accountability and paying what is due for that.
