Of all the inane ideas shoved down the nation’s craw lo these years of the Covid-19 virus, “stop the spread” was surely the worst. For one thing, it was impossible, as in not going to happen no way, because the gift from Dr. Anthony Fauci & Associates spread anyway, despite all attempts to hide from it via lockdowns, or social distancing, or the wearing of face masks. All that accomplished was to destroy 40 percent of the small businesses in America.

Viruses will spread, especially viruses that are new to a population’s immune systems, because that’s what they do, and eventually they burn out. It’s as simple as that. But our current unsound psychological state of collective techno-narcissism made it easy for the public health authorities to put over the next stupid idea: that a miraculous vaccine could be engineered at “warp speed” to defeat the spread of Covid-19, a virus with a strikingly low death rate. Sunday, August 8, 171 people died of it in the USA, for a seven-day average of 516 deaths (stats from The New York Times), out of 330-plus-million citizens, and Gawd knows how many others here illegally. This has been termed “a surge.”

Speaking of people here illegally, the same government officials who bemoan the new “surge” in virus cases are the very ones deliberately allowing an unchecked surge of border-jumpers from all corners of the world to enter the USA from Mexico, many of them infected with new strains of Covid-19. And, if that wasn’t fiendish enough, the regime is putting them on airplanes and buses to towns all over America like fifty-thousand Typhoid Marys. That is, the federal government is doing all it can to worsen the spread of new strains of Covid-19.

This is the same outfit, under “Joe Biden,” that is making noises about a national vaccine mandate, for vaccines that are not actually vaccines, strictly speaking. We just call them that to reinforce our techno-narcissistic faith in miracle cures. After eight months of experimenting with these biochemical cocktails, there is very good reason to believe that they are unsafe, especially the latent effects of their main active ingredient, the spike protein, which can insidiously induce damage to blood vessels. No, thank you.

This was on top of the proposition that attempting mass “vaccinations” at the height of an epidemic accelerates the evolution of variant viruses via antibody dependent enhancement in those vaccinated, causing the virus to become more infectious and replicate at higher levels — which has happened in every other coronavirus vaccine development program ever attempted — while the efficacy of the vaccines wanes over a few months’ time.

Could you paint a picture of a greater public health policy fiasco? Really, the emerging questions about all this must be: 1) Have they done it on purpose? And 2) Is all the messaging confusion the result of Dr. Anthony Fauci desperately trying to cover his ass for his role in developing Covid-19, as well as the so-called vaccines marshaled to heroically defeat it? Perhaps both.

You could construct a case that it was done on-purpose and, in this age of manufactured narratives, some have proposed the story that the disease was a mere excuse to introduce a slow-working lethal pseudo-vaccine to reduce the global population efficiently and drastically — so that nefarious “elites” could enjoy life (and its immortal transhuman successor state) on a planet uncluttered by billions of human riffraff.

That story has seemed pretty preposterous to me. More likely, the hyper-ambitious and heedless Dr. Fauci just got in too deep with China’s PLA-connected bioweapons lab in his mad scientist quest to be remembered as the man who defeated all coronaviruses with a single silver bullet — enabling a “release” of this virus, with (from China’s point of view) the advantageous weakening of Western economies, and the socio-political destruction of their once-cohesive cultures. If so, well done!

At this point, at least half the country now distrusts and disbelieves the incoherent messages emanating from “Joe Biden’s” government about this Covid-19 problem and any attempt to force vaccinations on the “hesitant” public will pull the pin out of the national grenade that has been waiting to go off. The “insurrection” next time will be the real thing, not Nancy Pelosi’s faked-up soap opera.

It’s also possible that the hyped “delta surge,” and all the threats prompted by it, are just a manufactured distraction from the slow-moving train-wreck of “the most secure election in US history” narrative as actual proof emerges of, yes, widespread fraud in 2020. Who would be surprised, by the way, if our friendly, local Intel Community wasn’t somehow behind all of that, both the election fraud and the distractions — and especially the management of the news about it that people get from TV-land and the remaining major newspapers?

All the pieces in the story are flying apart: the virus, the election, the border debacle, the Woke race hustle, the fiscal lunacy, the contrived sexual derangement, the captive news media…. All recent US history is starting to look like one big comprehensive fraud by forces seeking to wreck the country. The tension arising from that startling state-of-affairs is finally primed to begin resolving itself. The release could be dangerous.

The fascinating fact is that conspiracy or plain cock-up, the results are pretty much the same. It looks like chaos with a capital C is on the near horizon. Maybe that isn’t a bad thing if it gets rid of the current “elites”

Malthuss: How does it happen? If it happens (still a big “if”), it will be because even enough normies wake up to what is going on, and realize that they’ve been lied to about returning to normal. There will be some spark event that causes a chain reaction. At present, we have plenty of opposition, but it is being contained and kept apart. I’m still in two minds, though. Either we go full tilt into totalitarianism and a compliant sheepdom, or things blow apart. My heart says the former; my head the latter. As bad reporters say, “Only time will tell!”

        • Beryl of Oyl August 9, 2021 at 10:24 am #

Talk about waking up- I’m looking for the name of the doctor who has played a prominent role in the scamdemic, who only just the other day found out that the vaccine we are talking about, is not what people commonly understand a vaccine to be.

It looks to me like the majority of those who claim any sort of authority relating to these issues, are laboring under the delusion that we are talking about the vaccines where you take the shot and now you don’t have to worry about catching or spreading the disease.

The claim has been made that it is not the manufacturers that spread this false impression, that they never said these therapeutics would halt the spread or keep anyone from falling ill.

But that is not entirely true- Pfizer has stated their vaccine is effective in stopping the spread.

          That’s a lie.

          • draupnir August 9, 2021 at 2:07 pm #

It is a prophylaxis, not a vaccine, by the legal definition of the term. What they said was that it was safe and effective. It turns out it is neither. 68% of those who volunteer to participate in this experiment suffer from a clotting disorder of varying degrees of severity, from grotesquely huge clots in the heart or lungs or brain (the pathologist found a blood clot the size of his fist in the heart of one man he autopsied), to micro-clots clogging up capillaries. The heart, lungs, brain, and spinal cord do not replace dead cells, they simply form scars. Enough scars in the lungs will cause your heart to have to work harder to pump blood through them and leads to pulmonary hypertension with most diagnosed dead in two years. Enough scarring in the heart leads to myocarditis with most dead in three years. Those boys and young men stricken with it are never getting their lives back. There’s no such thing as a mild case. They even gave one girl a heart transplant, but she died anyway. Enough scarring in the brain seems to lead to something that looks like Creutzfeldt Jakob–otherwise known as mad cow disease–always fatal. I suspect the cases of paralysis are due to micro-clots in the spine.

There is nothing evil said about our government I don’t subscribe to, Our esteemed host is averse to conspiracy theories, but Occam’s razor tells me something beyond containment is going on. The shear desperation to get needles into arms for a disease that is mild in most is quite alarming, considering how leaky this vaccine is, and how dangerous. It appears to me that they have a quota and a date of required delivery. They have progressed to the threat stage. I suspect the uptake in the population is much lower than reported. Since I don’t believe a word I hear from MSM, I look to other countries, such as Israel, Gibraltar, and Greenland, where the vaccination rates are quite high, and their numbers in this outbreak show the majority of cases to be among the injected.

Draupnir – Please source this study – it seems highly unlikely. The vaccination rate in Greenland is 58% about as high as our highest state. That means 42% are unvaccinated. I love Occam’s Razor but a simpleton will find the simplest answer and it still won’t be right.

I like to read him for his brilliance as well as his sometimes mad opinions. His pen is sharper than any of his Internet rivals. Guess that proves that the censorship algorithms aren’t yet perfect.

I wouldn’t expect any expansion of the acceptance of mayhem caused by melanistic humans to other members of the animal kingdom. Blacks ain’t too big on animal rights – it’s mostly only white people that indulge in that kind of crazy nonsense.

For the “Elites” the solution is simple: buy a private island or country. Build an underground bunker. Hire a staff of ex-Navy Seals to tend the ornamental Ostriches and Bengal Tigers.

For the rest of us the solution is more basic. Take the AR15 out of the closet where it resides in most American homes. Convert it to full automatic. Practice. When OBiden’s mobile vaccination teams knock on your door to administer your mandatory gene alteration therapy and convert you into a Sheeple, waste them.

It’s called the Castle Doctrine. Since the rule of law no longer applies to our Leaders, it’s the only law left to us.

        • GoldenRoad August 11, 2021 at 2:32 pm #

An AR15 resides in most American homes? There are about 5-6 million in circulation. Assuming some households own multiple, that is way under “most”. Seriously take a breath. The world is not out to get you. Live love and enjoy yourself.

          • ThorsHammer August 13, 2021 at 4:41 am #

I agree. The idea that ordinary Americans will have to fight off mobile vaccination squads searching out the last unvacinated resistors is nuts.

On the other hand if someone had suggested three years ago that the Authorities would sacrifice an entire generation of children out of fear that they might contact a disease which poses virtually no threat to school age children, they would have hauled him away to an insane asylum. Of if someone had suggested that the Authorities could divide the entire country into the Entitled and a 50% sub-caste who would be stripped of the most basic rights like travel. shopping for food.. or voicing an unapproved opinion —- Insane.

By the way the only “vaccines” that are legal in the US are rapidly being shown to be a failure, neither protecting the vaccinated from getting or transmitting the various mutations of the COVID virus.

        @Bilejones

        Thank you for the link.

What still eludes The Z Man (and, I suspect, many of the commenters on his side of the great divide) is that the situation is ripe for a change: there is an unconscious collective malaise, something that makes many people feel things can’t go on the way they used to. Alas, we are going through dissolution times – people only unite in helpful ways after major tragedies (and/or under an enlightened despot, whichever happens first*.) We will have to wait until such an event come to pass.
After all, it was all the great ideas and great leaders, innovators and thinkers from the past that have led us into the ominous present. Searching for solutions in the past is to condemn the future generations to the same nefarious outcomes – the time is right for something radically new in terms of recorded history (yes, ‘radical’ as ‘towards the roots’: what can I say? Apparently, cycles are inescapable.)

        * Some will contend that a despot, enlightened as he/she may be, would be the real tragedy. I beg to disagree: hard times require tough people able to enforce harsh rules. And we are not going through hard times (yet): we are going through the leftovers of the good times.

If there was a conspiracy, and I agree with Jim that an overarching international one is preposterous, the only one that makes sense is that Trump figured out what his political enemies were up to and cheer-leaded their vaccine “cure” in order to cull the herd of TDS sufferers – those mainly predisposed to take the jab.

I write tongue-in-cheek. There is no conspiracy, only naked ambition for control, greed, scientific hubris, self-righteous do-gooding, and fear-induced hysteria – all well documented and in full effect with ample proofs right before us.

      • Hereward the Woke August 9, 2021 at 11:04 am #

There are too many rich-beyond-imagination people in the world who have like minds. They gather, they talk, they plan. They write papers about, they have slogans, they market their ideas.

To deny they act in concert is wrong.

It’s not like one even needs to assume some dark plot.
        Remember Vioxx?
It was tested in-house, at Merck for 6 years.
Then it underwent 3 years of rigorous safety testing under FDA supervision.
Then it was approved, and became the second most prescribed drug in the US for 5 years.
And it was only then that they realized the stuff was killing people! Maybe as many as 500,000!
And Vioxx was a straightforward chemical compound of the sort humanity has been whipping up for 2 centuries.
The Covid jab is a completely new technology – its NEVER been injected into mass numbers of humans before.
So, even if everything is exactly as they claim, we’ve still go lying on a massive scale.
The example of Vioxx shows that one cannot declare a medical procedure “safe” for many years.
Anybody who has done so is a liar, or has been duped by liars.

          Good data point. See: https://www.ucsusa.org/resources/merck-manipulated-science-about-drug-vioxx

“Merck’s manipulation of its data—and the FDA’s resulting approval of Vioxx in 1999—led to thousands of avoidable premature deaths and 100,000 heart attacks.?Dr. David Graham, the Associate Director for Science and Medicine in FDA’s Office of Drug Safety, testified in 2004 before the Senate Finance Committee that the FDA’s failure to recall Vioxx earlier had resulted in as many as 55,000 premature deaths from heart attacks and stroke.”

The source is the Union of Concerned Scientists. Let’s trust the science… that it can take 2-3 years for side effects to be broadly known. See also Thalidomide and Accutane.

An analogy: Do you find it hard not to talk to bums on the street? No, right? That’s how they see us. It’s not even a temptation. Of course they still need to keep it shut among their uninitiated peers. Blabber mouths don’t get invited to rise high.

Good morning. Excellent overview of the current state of things, James.

I find it insane that no lib/Dem I know cares to explain how they can both support Jo Jo Magoo’s border policy AND be covid19 paranoid, wanting the unvaxxed and unmasked to be shunned from society. Meanwhile, they welcome illegal immigrants without even testing them.

Same mindset re: the ‘vaccine hesitatant’ largely consisting of black people. They can’t seem to grok that the people who refuse to get the vaxx are not white supremacist christian extremists as they’ve been told but a wide swath of normal folks including their fetishized BIPOC.

I wonder when all that required Double Think is going to do their brains in for good.

    • Night Owl August 9, 2021 at 9:34 am #

Here in Germany, come fall, us “vaxx hesitant” will have to pay EUR 25 to get a test in order to be able to enter a grocery store.

And they are in the process of debating whether the test should still be good for 48 hrs, or just 6-8 hours.

There is no plan here, no siree.

      • MaryQueen August 9, 2021 at 9:44 am #

      • thirdcoastlegend August 9, 2021 at 10:14 am #

Is curbside pickup or home delivery available?

Maybe take the 25 EUR and spend it on that to work around in the short term.

Longer term it may come to outdoor markets.

These are simple, legal things that should work in the short-term.

Maybe build up a stock of canned, frozen, and dry goods as a bridge for any personal supply chain disruptions.

        • Not_GeorgeT August 9, 2021 at 11:46 am #

There is a point where doing a workaround reinforces the underlying behavior. That’s my opinion.

Consider “they” might be hoping for workarounds to enable “them” to further entrench their design for societal behavior.

I like the idea of going with legal. Problem is the legal system is co-opted.

          • thirdcoastlegend August 9, 2021 at 12:09 pm #

I consider the workarounds to be pragmatic bridges permitting survival while one carries on the legal fight.

Yes, achieving legal victories is far more preferable than the balloon going up, but I concur that the co-opted Western legal systems are hugely problematic.

What happened in Alberta may simply be the lucky chance that Mr. King’s case landed in one of the few remaining rational judges out there.

          • Not_GeorgeT August 9, 2021 at 12:15 pm #

The Alberta case struck me as luck of the draw. It does happen occasionally.

          • Night Owl August 9, 2021 at 2:20 pm #

Yeah, I agree and disagree. On one hand it does encourage the behavior/segregation, but on the other it creates a parallel network.

We are in a Telegram group and there is a whole group of stores (mostly farm-to-table places) that are open for those that have not taken the frankenshot.

The question in the long term is, if this does not get better via resistance, how long will it be until they simply change the law overnight to outlaw such food stores?

They already changed the constitution twice in the dead of night.

          • thirdcoastlegend August 9, 2021 at 2:49 pm #

            NO-

Again, think of workarounds as a temporary, transitory solution to a better place.

As for banning stores open for all, I’d consider that red balloon going up territory.

            Hypothetically in Mincraft, of course.

          • Wizard of the Saddle August 11, 2021 at 8:04 am #

When voting is futile due to massive fraud…and legal recourse is blocked due to co-opted judges….then all that is left to a free people is the a Second Amendment, in the form of civil war and or revolution.

The reason so many people pathetically waste so much time wringing their hands about all of this on web forums is because they simply lack the sand in their craw that our ancestors had in spades. Normies won’t even consider a resort to arms to oppose tyranny. They are already slaves of these evil elites by CHOICE.

That’s what these vaccine and mask mandates are all about. The elites are polling the citizenry of this country to get a read on how many are willing to go full Lexington and Concorde on their worthless asses when push comes to shove.

A word to the wise: If you don’t own an AR, get one. Buy ammo. Train. Be prepared to resist, in whatever form of armed struggle may one day be required when the bastards finally flush the last shredded remains of the constitution down the toilet.

Freedom is not free. Ask a veteran.

        • MrMangoOnMyShoulder August 9, 2021 at 12:56 pm #

These are simple, legal things that should work in the short-term.

Then they’ll bump it to 50 EUR. Then 100 EUR.

Then the vaxxes will be officially “approved”, governments around the world will declare public health emergencies, mandate the vax for all supported by the enforcement of emergency law, and then things will really get weird.

            MrMango-

I don’t disagree, but my thought is that one should have transitioned to new food sources when they start raising the fees to exorbitant levels.

Then, one can teach others that are getting hit with those fees to transition to those sources and build community along the way.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder August 9, 2021 at 6:55 pm #

legend – You’re right, but that’s a tough one. Let’s say 40 million Americans signed a petition to boycott Walmart (or the like) and only shop local/like-minded businesses, and actually followed through with it.

Walmart would certainly take notice that their profits have been decimated…but if their stores were devoid of customers and most locations aren’t turning profits, what happens to the 1.5M people who work there (a large percentage of which would likely be in the boycott camp in many areas)?

Hard to stick it to the man when the man can just let half the staff go and put them in dire straits, too.

Sure, people have to be willing to sacrifice for such things to work, but people also know that losing their employment over their principles is much less of an option than they may have thought it was when something like a boycott idea was first floated. Family/kids makes a lot of decisions harder to stick to.

But it would be a glorious thing to see. You know, perhaps folks could then go work for the local businesses that are suddenly thriving with new customers?

          • Islander August 9, 2021 at 7:35 pm #

            Mt Mango

“mandate the vax for all supported by the enforcement of emergency law, and then things will really get weird.”

Anything with the word “emergency” is a red flag for a true emergency—not the FF one.

I hate to keep coming back to Hitler, but his “rule” consisted of a series of emergencies in which old rules are suddenly changed, replaced with “new rules.”

In principle a true emergency is the occasion to call in special troops and forces to ASSIST those in danger. Not any more. Now, “emergency” is the signal to tighten all possible screws and *create* the danger.

It is ironic that “the long emergency” is ushered in by these tactical “emergencies” to goose normal life out of its tracks. Is this to usher in the Long Emergency, or in a sense to preempt it, co-opt it, so that we already find ourselves on the other end of the tunnel, the far side, in an unescapable dystopia?

The people running and frequenting most rural farmer’s markets in the midwest are about as anti-mask and anti-vax as you’ll find anywhere.

I’d imagine the mentality is similar outside of the cities in Germany.

There will be food to be had.

The next questions will be how to get there (“Papers Please” at checkpoints on the roads), and how to pay if your accounts have been frozen or you are out of work because you are unvaxxed.

We were in Thüringen for vacation last year and it was full of hipsters living in communes in the woods thinking they were communing with the fairys of the wood.

One place we stayed (regretably) at was run by a hipster couple who complained to us that their neighbors (who grew food and had built their house out by themselves into quite a nice little compound) were “Reichsburger,” which is equivalent to the sovereign citizen movement, which the lefties here naturally call Nazis. Those neighbors seemed like the most level-headed people we encountered in the entire area.

The local farmers here seem pretty based.

Can’t speak to the farm markets in the inner suburbs and city limits. I fear some of them might be flunatics.

6-8 hours? You might well just keep a swab in your nose that is wired up to test upon request. It would take the place of the dog skin cap the helots had to wear or the braid the Manchus made the Chinese wear.

        N.O.

        Just saw this:
        https://journalistenwatch.com/2021/08/09/nur-einlass-geimpfte/

Pure evil. “to make life unbearable for the unjabbed.”

I hope that all Germans (and migrants!!) react with horror and revulsion and boycott to this little “test.”
        History is watching.

MQ, the reason why so many black folk are ‘vaccine hesitant’ is because over the past many, many years they’ve been played for fools and that has – quite reasonably – made many of them extremely wary. Years ago I worked with a black woman who had the gift of being quite humorous. I remember her reaction to some of the governmental racial pandering that was prevalent at the time. She said, loudly and unabashedly, “Where’s my 40 acres and a mule?”

      • MaryQueen August 9, 2021 at 11:40 am #

Yes, I am very aware of that.

I’ve seen a whole movement built around “Never forget the Tuskegee Experiment” so yeah, they have good reason to be ‘hesitant.’

They don’t tend to trust ‘the man’ to begin with, for good reason.

        • Yohannon August 9, 2021 at 11:49 am #

Educated Whites (like you), the smart ones anyway (like you), spend their lives believing in diversity and trying to avoid it at all costs.

          • MaryQueen August 9, 2021 at 7:34 pm #

There are levels of ‘believing’ in diversity. Since you tend to think in black & white on this subject, you don’t really get that.

          • Islander August 9, 2021 at 7:38 pm #

Yo also never tires of informing other people of what they think!

          • Yohannon August 10, 2021 at 12:09 pm #

Well yes. And the differing ethnic groups each have their own nature. Chinese tennis partners are quite a different thing than Hispanic gangs. But once the dam is breached, it’s breached – and you’re going to get both.

You don’t get that consciously. Unconsciously you do your damndest to avoid that bad diversity which you consciously endorse.

I could ask you what kind or level of diversity you believe in. And what you would do to stave off further floods of the same or of the kinds you don’t believe in. But you wouldn’t answer me.

The simple fact is is that we can’t handle it. Too many people want to flood us for one reason or another. And they will use any leniency to further that goal.

          • Amman August 11, 2021 at 8:38 pm #

Consider that a very sinister thing may be going on. Is it possible that the PTB are seeding the virus into many places in the country to keep up the Covid propaganda threat to facilitate a phony surge? Are you non vaxxers being punished by the increased threat? Is Fauci trying to route out the remaining uninflected folks?

Could it happen? You commented on the Blacks reluctance. Remember Tuskegee? Not our government’s shining moment.

If this is found out to be true, it is definitely a high enough crime to be impeached for, 2022 is getting closer.

I wonder if anyone is investigating this possibility?

      • thirdcoastlegend August 9, 2021 at 2:53 pm #

We must ask ourselves, “Has government become more or less evil since Tuskegee?”

        I rest my case.

I have considered that certain areas may have been sprayed with something, given they tried that before, in 1957, that we know about. They sprayed San Francisco with a pathogen and at least 1 person died (who knows how many though – and long term effects, who knows that either).

Once you know these things about the psychotics in charge, the sky’s the limit. I know they have the capacity to do it, so why not spray us like the vermin they think we are?

BOth with AIDS and covid19 the symptoms are very much like one would get from being poisoned. Same with the reactions to the jabs.

Since we’re taking gender off birth certificates, let’s go all the way (like Thelma and Louise) and erase gender (particularly the evil, stupid, and totally unnecessary male gender) from everything.

Example: Woman freed from patriarchy becomes “Wo”, maybe we could add an “e” to make the pronunciation clearer…

      • JTinMD August 9, 2021 at 12:21 pm #

Here at Pimlico the mask rule is for the backside staff and stables crew (trainers, grooms, hot-walkers, etc). I imagine it applies to patrons too, but that’s only for Thursday to Sunday race days. And it just started yesterday evening.

      • AngryFarmer August 9, 2021 at 12:44 pm #

I sell produce for the Amish in Saratoga. As of last week, it seems like 50-50 are masked

In Albany, it runs about 70-30 masked in the upscale, hipster zones, and the reverse where the power folks live.

In rural Schoharie county, where I reside, masks are practically non-existent.

Even in New York state, sanity appears to exist in direct proportion to how much concrete you walk on.

    https://esatus.com/loesungen/self-sovereign-identity/

This is the company, along with IBM who is developing the WEF’s SSI digital pass system.

The European governments are actively piloting this stuff right now, and lied through their teeth the entire time.

Libraries need be protected. We could ditch the convenience of phones and internet if the places where information and knowledge are safeguarded.

Be vigilant regarding book burning events.

Oral history being passed along worked for centuries. It’s old time stuff, but the information age is very recent.

          • Not_GeorgeT August 9, 2021 at 11:59 am #

Bards, more than entertainment, would be skilled story-tellers trained by older bards to memorize the story on a word-for-word basis. Thus trained, they could travel the country, providing oral history in exchange for food and shelter.

Everything about this is Orwellian—I mean, the lingo.

      “Self-Sovereign”—yeah, I mean, well, no.

Berchtigung—the new normal is that you have to prove you have the right to do anything. Not that someone has to prove you *don’t* have the right to do it. This looks to me like prior restraint of some kind.

      And this:

“Whether in work life, in a circle of friends or in public space, it is helpful to know that my counterpart has formed antibodies. This proof is issued as a digital certificate, stored in the wallet app and presented on request as a QR code. The verifying body scans the QR code and immediately sees the result. esatus has developed this production-quality prototype for the COVID-19 Credentials Initiative (CCI).”

You get to find out whether your neighbor has *formed antibodies*???

        Oh, I know, Islander.

I have been looking at documents like this and parsing the euphemistic language within for over a year.

I can’t tell you (legally, ofc) for what client I edited the piece today, but let’s just say that European governments have lied every step of the way with regard to this pass system and the Trojan horse that is Covid.

The SSI system was developed by the private sector (the two companies I listed) and the World Economic Forum. It is being rolled out as a government system.

This pass system will be needed to do ANYTHING that is digitized or where access would need to be authenticated. Travel, shopping, bars, bank accounts, online purchases, access to the Internet. People have no idea what is coming.

    • Blackbird August 9, 2021 at 6:03 pm #

Hey Owl, thanks for all the documentation you’ve been providing on this issue.

I had started work on a “white paper” on the Covid/Reset agenda, trying to sort out the mass of info I’d been gathering like a squirrel preparing for winter. I wanted to be able to explain the whole thing to anyone trying to understand, and to know it well enough to debate anyone who adopted the official “narrative”.

Eventually I came to a couple of realizations, that allowed me to abandon that rabbit hole with my conscience only slightly muddied:

      1. I’ll never know the truth, but observing that the story I have been told by “Trusted Sources” is a lie, and not only a lie, but a massively orchestrated symphony of lies, is enough information for me to make the decisions I need to make on this issue.

      2. I’ll never change the mind of anyone who has already chosen a side. We were divided long before Covid, long before Trump – but both were used to bust open that faultline. I see it as a division between those who want to know and those who want to believe. A fundamental divide, maybe even the most fundamental splitting the human species.

But I still enjoy learning more about this subject – certainly the most important subject of our time. Keep on truckin’ out the info.

By the way, maybe you know where to find this… An article about the Drosten test. About the 3 loci chosen for selection of nucleotide sequences. About how all 3 were located toward one end of the in-silico “virus”, rather than more evenly distributed (as per SOP). About how one was so “problematic” that it was abandoned and not replaced (as per SOP). About how instead of requiring matches at all 3 loci (as per SOP), a match with 1 was ruled (by WHO?) to be adequate. And, my particular favorite, how the sequences at the 2 remaining loci matched with >100 sequences found in the human genome, as well as >100 nucleotide sequences of human-associated bacteria. It’s not just a shit test, it’s a huge-stinking-pile-of-shit test. Of all the articles not to bookmark… If you don’t have that info readily at hand, I already have what I need, just not what I’d like to have.

      • Night Owl August 10, 2021 at 4:33 am #

I think you are mostly right about changing minds. Though I will say this: in my experience, people who are open to listening to your point can still figure things out with a bit of encouragement.

The ones who immediately react in a dismissive manner are the ones who are not only the least informed, but they are incurious, and IMO often rather unintelligent. There is no hope for them.

I heard a stat recently from a social psychologist that about 30 percent of the population falls in the latter category, and oddly enough many of them tend to hold high-level degrees — products of an education system that does not value independent thought or problem solving.

About 50 percent of any typical population tend to be fence sitters who notice that something is wrong, but tend to do nothing until it is safe or too late.

The remaining 20 are highly sensitive and intelligent individuals who recognize patterns and ask critical questions early on, anticipating trends and consequences.

I will look around RE: your last question. I have read a lot about the Drosten test, but have not gone into that level of detail. My primary source of info. for that were the discussions at the Stiftung Corona Ausschuss.

        • Sean Coleman August 10, 2021 at 3:36 pm #

I think the psychologist was Belgian Prof Mattias Desmet, who made some very good points, sharing my own opinion that the people behind it are more deluded than their victims. He even mentioned their insane belief in ‘transhumanism’, a point I made here two or three weeks ago. Sitzung 63?

David Martin (Sitzung 60) was very good on the genesis of the virus. I have listened to it at least three times, trying to memorize (and understand) the main points of his argument, with limited success. I have also watched a few other interviews with him to see if it could throw some light on it. It is astonishing.

Equally amazing was Dr Bryan Ardis’s (?) contribution (63 I think) where he said that Rendesivir (however that is spelt) was mandatory for the best part of 2020 and that it causes kidney failure among other things. This would explain the high death rate from the alleged virus in America alone. Other countries ran 3 WHO HCQ studies involving thousands (?) of hospitals (Sitzung 22, I think, or 19 – one of those is the comic novel that is The Hunt For Drosten’s Thesis) and it was argued that this caused the April 2020 spike in various countries, especialy in the English-speaning world. Denis Rancourt’s theory is that the fragility of much of the US popuation in the face of lockdown accounts for it. I always liked Dr Gerd Reuther’s argument that April 2020 was down to the premature deaths of mainly old people after being moved out of hospitals which were keeping them alive.

The exchange between Wodarg and Ardis is interesting. Wodarg says there is a strong case to investigate the possibility that HCQ and Rendesevir were deliberately ussed to provide the deaths to sustain the panic. When he made this argument lsat year (Sitzung 19 or 22), about HCQ only, the others in the Ausschuss thought it was a very strong charge. Now they are more receptive to the idea. So, Wodarg argues, WHO’s Prof Martin Landray’s ‘slip’, where he gave to understand that he had confused HCQ with hydroxyquinoline (which is used in higher doses) was may have been deception.

One of the things that struck me about Ardis’s evidence is that it was the first I had heard that only Rend. was permitted to treat ‘Covid’. (As with Martin’s evidenc this information took such a long time to emerge out of the ‘noise’.) More astonishing was the factg that the CDC’s website boasting about Rend. linked to two studies which showed that it was lethal. For all I know those links are still up. This reminds me of something I only recently learnt, about the Stanford prisoner experiment from 1971. It was essentially fake and at least not at all what it purported to be. It seems a French sociologist (Thibault or something) who wanted to make a film about the experiment went to Stanford and examined Zimbardo’s (?) pepers. He was the first man to even look at them and they showed that the volunteer ‘guards’ were not carried away by wearing a unifrom but rather they were instructed to behave brutally.

The mixture of conspiracy and insane fantasy is so strange.

Desmet kept going on about Hannah Arendt, wro wrote (among other things) about teh ‘banal’ evil of people like Eichmann while failing to notice that the Holocaust story is beyond absurd. He also mentioned the Dreyfus Affair, again missing the point that Dreyfus was actually guilty and was freed following elaborate machinations by the Jews, who destroyed the reputation of the French army. In other interviews (in Dutch) he referred to the ability of certain early scientists to see through the illusion that the earth was flat. Like the Drefusards, these were independent thinkers resistant to the ‘mass formation’. As Jeffrey Russell has demonstrated, educated men who believed in a flat earth in the Middle Ages were very rare.

But Desmet is interesting all the same. He also mentions the Asche conformity experimet, a favourite of mine. (I think it has been argued (based on brain scans, so cautions is required) that some of those convinced to go along with the crowd against all the evidence deliberately going along with the crowd against their better judgment but did it unconsciously. In other words their actual perceptions had been altered. They were very likely extraverts, as I may have mentioned here a few eyars ago. Of course, the ‘type problem’ which Jung and others wrote about (I think his excellent Psychological Types is a hundred years old this eyar), because it was seen as central to an understanding of behaviour, is largely forgotten nowadays.

          Sean:
“Desmet kept going on about Hannah Arendt, who wrote (among other things) about the ‘banal’ evil of people like Eichmann while failing to notice that the Holocaust story is beyond absurd. He also mentioned the Dreyfus Affair, again missing the point that Dreyfus was actually guilty and was freed following elaborate machinations by the Jews, who destroyed the reputation of the French army. ”

I have never heard that Dreyfus turned out to be guilty.
I don’t know very much about the case, however.
I don’t think Emile Zola was a Jew.
Just a few weeks ago I read “An Officer and a Spy,” by Robert Harris, a novelized version of the story that purports to adhere to all of the available documentary and other evidence. The first-person narrator is the French intelligence officer Marie-Georges Picquart. I wonder whether you have read that. At the very least it is a first-rate read. Couldn’t put it down. I gave the book to a friend so cannot review the details of Harris’s take on the denouement, which I believe was equivocal for all parties.

Regarding the “absurdity” of the HOlocaust (and leaving out Hannah Arendt), it is important IMO to differentiate between Holocaust revisionism and Holocaust denial. The term “holocaust” carries so much baggage that it has become very difficult to discuss the actual history. Having read enough memoirs of different kinds (most recently Joachim Fest’s Ich Nicht), that Jews (and others) were deported to the East and worked to death is not something that I consider worth spending “denial” energy on. Unless one assumes that Danuta Czech’s Auschwitz Kalendarium is bunkum (and some do! but I do not, having read every single page of it, plus the notes and appendixes).

That discussion is something of a digression in the current covid context, and I do not want to go into a weed bed on that.

But it is not completely irrelevant weeds, as I notice a similar wilful mislabeling of shall we say “Covid curiosity and concern about mRNA shots” as “anti-vaxxism” that I see in the mislabeling of Holocaust revisionists as “HOlohoax deniers,” presumably to devalidate *any* issues that they raise.

          • Sean Coleman August 11, 2021 at 3:46 pm #

I read a couple of Harris’s books. The one about Cicero, which was quite good, in Italian. Enigma was very good at conjuring up the frugal atmosphere in wartime England. (Ian McEwan does an even better job in Atonement.) As in all of these subjects my knowledge is spread very thinly. I came across Adrien Abauzit’s work by chance. He is on the French language YT channel Radio Athéna, as is the excellent and entertaining Henry De Lesquien (I am bad at remembering exact names and spellings). Abauzit is a barrister and went through the voluminous trial documents. There are many twists and turns in teh story but the evidence seems to show, strongly , that Dreyfus was guilty and Pecquart (there, I just used your spelling) was in ‘Le Syndicat’. I have tried to memorize as much as I can but it takes time. Abauzit’s lenghty interview with ‘TEPA’ is the most comprehenseive unless you buy his book ‘L’Affaire Dreyfus’.

I do not believe Zola was a Jew. Abauzit seems to see him as a ‘useful idiot’. Esterharzy, who admitted he had committed the crime (from the safety of England) was obviously bankrolled by Le Syndicat as he had no visible means of support. Dreyfus was likely led astray by Mrs Bodson, a spy he was intimate with.

I say the Holocaust is absurd because it fits the pattern of nearly all collective fantasies, including ‘Covid’, which is clearly wrong in every conceivable way. I have not read the book you refer to. Indeed I had never heard of it, or had forgotten. I have read Primo Levi’s two books, the first more than twice (Catalan and Breton – don’t ask why). Levi says they only learnt of tohe death of their womenfolk and children after the war. The conditions he describes were very grim indeed but there were no gas chambers. Nuremberg was a show trial. I simply describe myself as a denier. If I were ever to write a book about all of these fantasies the title would be In Denial.

      Hi, Night Owl,

Do you know this video by Dr. Sam Bailey, regarding the isolation of the virus?

      https://www.bitchute.com/video/qn2hWFK8h2ne/

If so, what do you think? I mean, of her account of how they arrived at the PCR test.

      • Sean Coleman August 10, 2021 at 4:46 pm #

She appears to be a co-author of the new edition of Virus-Wahn, originally written by Dr Claus Kohnlein and journalist Torsten Engelbrecht. I knew Italian sceintist Stefano Scoglio co-wrote the new edition but was unaware of dr Bailey. As far as I can see this is the definitive explanation. Engelbrecht persuaded Kohnleini to inclde polio in its list of diseases which were alleged to have been caused by viruses but which turned out always to have no evidence for it. I remember he wrote to the Nobel Prize committe asking them if Montaignet had provided evidence of isolating HIV. They admitted tha he had not (of course).

This lecture by Kohnlein is the best summary of the Virus wahn I have come across. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGUDOcennvw&list=PLpUAbNK9GAkH5p2wchGsWBSZ_D0_ZUvwm&index=35&t=4115s His example of a contrived viral cause for being overweight is enjoyable.

This video by Samuel Eckert is an excellent summary of the story of the claimed isolation of ‘Covid’. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gusIJq8G66c&list=PLpUAbNK9GAkH5p2wchGsWBSZ_D0_ZUvwm&index=36&t=680s Again, as Bailey mentions, it was Engelbrecht who wrote to the labs asking them for confirmation.

What I do not understand (among many things) in Martin’s testimony is why it was so oimportant for Fauci and the rest to patent a virus. I can understand a patent on a vaccine but not on a virus.

        • Islander August 10, 2021 at 6:39 pm #

          SEan, re Eckert,

Have started to watch. Is Eckert the youngish dark-haired presenter?

My comprehension of spoken German is OK, and his speech is quite clear, but it would be great if there were English subtitles!

        • Islander August 10, 2021 at 7:14 pm #

Eckert bases much of his argument on the failure to adhere to Koch’s Postulates to isolate the virus, described as follow, here:
          https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3775492/

“(1) The microorganism must be found in diseased but not healthy individuals; (2) The microorganism must be cultured from the diseased individual; (3) Inoculation of a healthy individual with the cultured microorganism must recapitulated the disease; and finally (4) The microorganism must be re-isolated from the inoculated, diseased individual and matched to the original microorganism. Koch’s postulates have been critically important in establishing the criteria whereby the scientific community agrees that a microorganism causes a disease.”

But I have read (somewhere) that Koch’s Postulates are not possible to fulfill with viruses, I think it was said, because the latter are too small . . .

Also it seems that all kinds of viruses are found in healthy individuals . . .

So, are there valid arguments regarding the applicability of Koch’s Postulates to viruses in general, and to putative SARS-Cov-2?

I noticed early on that although that the term covid-19 was coined specifically to refer to the disease/syndrome, NOT THE VIRUS. But now that term is used by almost everyone to refer to both the disease and the virus. This just muddies the waters more.

        • Islander August 10, 2021 at 7:22 pm #

          Sean,
“What I do not understand (among many things) in Martin’s testimony is why it was so oimportant for Fauci and the rest to patent a virus. I can understand a patent on a vaccine but not on a virus.”

I *think* the idea explained by Martin is that once the virus is patented, any right to create a vaccine for that virus is limited to or controlled by the patent holder. Because the one who wants to make a vaccine has to gain access to the virus to do so.

In fact, apart from the bioweapon uses, the whole point of creating viruses seems to be to then create vaccines, which can be marketed. Dazsak more or less stated this on video.

          • Sean Coleman August 11, 2021 at 4:10 pm #

Yes, that is Eckert. I have watched it repeatedly, like other key videos. I think he makes a slip when he says that they based the test on what they had learnt on social media. They first heard about it on social media (over Chrsitmas) but got their info on an online shared database of viruses. What was telling for me was how reports that the virus had been isolated were untrue or misleading. This is standard practice in collective fantasy (whcih is usually accompanied by, or raher started off by, conspiracy, or so it seems).

I think there are amended ‘postulates’ for viruses because it is so hard to siolate them. They have to be grown inside cells, it seems. Also similar-sized particles produced by the body are indistinguishable. I remember Stafano whathishisname (or maybe it was that other scientiest whose name I also forget) experiments on mice using a ‘brie’ of fluid extracted from alleged Covid patients had practically no effect although they ought to have contained enough of the virus to do so.

Virus-Wahn shows this pattern repeating over and over again with AIDS, HepC, CJD, polio and other allegegd diseases. I cannot remember but I think SARS1 was probably imaginary too so when Drosten’s team based their PCR test on (I think) that family of viruses they were already off to a bad start.

The whole thing really is so absurd, although there are worse adjectives that also apply.

I think you are right about the patent. That was how I was reading it.

when I first came across Wodarg in March or April last year it was a short subtitled video. Unfortunatley the translator’s standard of German was only around my own so the subtitles did n ot help with the tricky bits which I could not catch. These often turn out to be the crucial ones. One thing that used to puzzle me back then was his statement that 5 to 15 per cent of viruses every year are corona. Did he mean those with respiratory illness (say flu) had that percentage of corona in them or did he mean that that percentage was diagnosed as corona?

The whole thing is painfully slow and if it was not for my (absurd) obsession with langauges i probably would not have persisted. Seemingly unimiportant things sometimes come in handy. I used to pretend to myself when learning a new language (eg Swedish) that it could come in handy sometime, in gettin gme a job or something. When I started learning Irish (Gaelic) I had to abandon the pretence. That was never going to be of any material use. Yet years later, having moved to Ireland where work was hard to find, I got into the Civil Service after doing the interview in Irish.

I have been utterly gob-smacked by the shift—I guess I would have to say the shift in my own POV regarding what constitutes progress, and who represents it.

The real kickerk for me was the Hillary campaign of 2016. I couldn’t believe that Trump was running for Pres, and had zero in common that I could see with his MAGA supporters. The whole thing seemed like a huge joke!

I was never a big fan of Hillary. But probably would have voted for her. Except that I did start to notice, during the campaign, how unequally Trump and his events and supporters were treated by the press. They were treated like scum. LIke, there was *no other valid political position* besides the Dem one.

Up till then I was kind of agnostic about the border. I felt sorry for the many who were fleeing dreadful situs in Central America basically created by the US and it fascist and vicious collaborators in Guatemala, Honduras, etc. I still do. The whole’ “migrant” crisis has been created by stupid, destructive US foreign meddlign, overturning democratically elected or at least local govts in Central America, the ME, etc.

Even in the local papers NO space or voice was given to Trump supporters to explain their views. They were treated like some kind of political skunk and the overriding assumption was that anyone who would vote for Trump was a redneck racist. That really pissed me off. Vote Trump signs were stolen from people’s yards, the few who dared to put one up! The “take no prisoners” attitude of “the left” was starting to become more visible.

The treatment of Sanders, obvious deck stacked against him turned me off of Hillary and the Dem Party. I still assumed she would win, though. So, I just thought I would poke a bit at her mandate by voting for Trump.

Imagine my amazement when he won. Too rich! Then the scales really started falling from my eyes. The ACLU immediately joins “the Resistance” to Trump. I canceled my 20-year membership and told them why: They are supposed to be nonpartisan!. Everyone was obviously out to get Trump before he even took office. Even if the guy seemed like a political joke, it was getting unfunny. Nothing was too low! It was like the guy didn’t even have any *human rights*!

I was never a Trump supporter, but by now the ugly side of “the left” was too in your face to ignore the danger it represented. And remember the pink pussy hysteria? The hysterical crying over Hillary’s loss? These people were claerly more nuts than the Trump supporters! Not only more nuts but more petty and vicious.

They were not going to work with the president in any way, shape or form (except while relentlessly attacking and belittling him via the media Congress of course gave him everything ridiculous thing he asked for. The dysfunction that was abroad in the country was getting more and more obvious.

On hindsight and in light of the Russiagate /golden showers craziness it seems ever more likely that Obama was at the controls. Actively preventing a “smooth transition of power” and doing all he could to wreck Trump’s presidency and “get back” at him and those who voted him in. These voters are nothing, have been treated like vermin in the media—even though many who voted for Trump had voted for Obama.

The man is a total egomaniac. A smug mfr.

Here is quite a good essay on the self-involved big O:

“I have been utterly gob-smacked by the shift—I guess I would have to say the shift in my own POV regarding what constitutes progress, and who represents it.” and everything that follows: Islander, thank you for your account of a political turn of the screw, or Copernican revolution rather.

I noticed the same things. The vile characterization of millions as ignorant scum… the blatantly unfair and distorted coverage… the dirty tricks… no tv here either, but I read a lot and started loathing the smug, know-it-all attitude of the bien pensants at Harper’s and the NYT… the crap on NPR…

In previous elections I had always been rather centrist, environmental policy being my main interest. Locally, voted for anyone, D or R, delivering results in terms of protected land and waterways and so on. Nationally, mostly Green. Obama once (enough!).

After Bernie folded, and that nasty woman started acting like she had won already, something clicked in me, and I see, in many others. My old certainties melted away. Well, not the environmental activism, but even that took second place. I felt I had to be another obstacle to seeing a corrupt, miserable, arrogant, mediocre, lying warmonger and profiteer get to the very top. No election night party for you, bitch.

It’s not that DJT was great. He’s not. He wasted his chance, threw a lot of people under the bus starting w Bannon and ending with his own supporters in jail without habeas corpus for a Capitol selfie escapade that he instigated… now he golfs, runs his mouth and, incredibly, solicits donations for a comeback.

Here’s a fun fact: in all my years of voting, I never had a sticker on my bumper. Now that I probably won’t vote anymore, I have a Trump sticker on the truck. Not because I like him. Because I hate and fear the alternative more.

JL Borges, a very good writer from Argentina, ends one of his poems like this: “No nos une el amor sino el espanto / será por eso que la quiero tanto” – We’re united not by love, but by horror / that must be why I love her so. I know, it’s a “her”, but one could picture Trump in drag and it applies. He’s useless, but I love him because of the quality of those who hate him.

President-elect Trump, I think he wasn’t president yet, asked RFK Jr. to head a committee on vaccine safety, or something like that, and to announce it at a press event.

    Bobby did so.

When I first starting hearing “until a vaccine is found”, and “warp speed”, was when I learned that the vaccine safety post never came to be.

The man eventually picked to head the FDA went to a presumably lucrative position on Pfizer’s board right after departing the White House.

Paul then took on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and President Joe Bidendirectly.

“Nancy Pelosi, you will not arrest, or stop me or anyone on my staff from doing our jobs. We have either had Covid, had the vaccine, or been offered the vaccine. We will make our own health choices. We will not show you a passport. We will not wear a mask. We will not be forced into random screenings so you can continue your drunk with power reign over the Capitol.

“President Biden, we will not accept your agencies’ mandates or your reported moves towards a lockdown.”

The White House has repeatedly said that it is not planning any new lockdowns.

The senator went on to threaten to introduce amendments to bills that would cut the funding of federal agencies whose employees do not return to work in person.

“Do I sound fed up to you?” Paul said. “That’s because I am.”

I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree on that one, Jim. Where you see mere incompetence and malfeasance, I see an organized use of those two feigned attributes to accomplish much larger goals, one of which (certainly not the largest, but quite ominous in its own right) was the removal of Trump from office to install Ol’ Puppet Joe to carry out the globalist plan. I would think all this would be self-evident by now to one so knowledgeable as yourself, but apparently not. Oh well. You’ll come around eventually. Most everyone does.

Never ascribe to mere incompetence, malfeasance, or pure dumb luck what can be better explained as an organized effort of like-minded sociopaths to commit pure evil against their fellow men.

    • Anthea August 10, 2021 at 12:18 pm #

The chain of command for all-things-covid is a pyramid structure. Below a certain level, it really is just incompetence and malfeasance: “I’ll play along. Looks like there’s bales of money in it for me–not to mention career-advancement and publicity. Besides, all the higher-ups in this game have a dossier on me, and I’d be ruined if I didn’t play along.”

This “lower level” includes literally everyone to the highest levels of power who is visible to us. But there is a line at a very high level of that pyramid, and above that line are the invisible puppet-masters, moving the chess pieces according to plan. Presidents and heads of state are rooks (at best) in this game. The highest level central bankers are perhaps knights or bishops.

The actual planners, and to a great extent the actual plan, are hidden from view. Those within the power structure who are visible to us really are shills and boobs (and in many cases really, really stupid), though they may nurse delusions of having vast power of their own. Or they may be dimly aware that they are the lowliest of rooks being moved around on the chess board–which they don’t mind too much, as long as they are being moved to the Hamptons (for now).

Perhaps the most disturbing thing about the chessboard analogy is that there is no discernable “other team.” Have all the white pieces already been captured and the opposing player (or players) all been drugged or gut-shot? No one–certainly no one with a thimble-full of real power–seems to be in the game at all.

  25. Rodster August 9, 2021 at 11:31 am #

“Could you paint a picture of a greater public health policy fiasco? Really, the emerging questions about all this must be: 1) Have they done it on purpose?”

Answer: Yes it was don on purpose. The question becomes why? As Martin Armstrong has repeatedly said, those in charge of governments and central banks around the world realize that the global economy, and banking systems are collapsing. Governments have borrowed so much money that it can never be repaid. It’s why they have destroyed their bond markets. In the EU they introduced negative interest rates.

So now they are printing money out of tin air (MMT) because they no longer have to pretend to borrow that money. Covid was used as an excuse and a cover for the collapsing system that was created on Jekyll Island.

The vaccine’s purpose is not to kill anyone.
It is to introduce a new order of things.
    A new arrangement.

New levels of control and mandatory participation
It is a gateway drug. In a sense.

Vaccine cards, contact tracing, vaccine passports, and finally, social credit.
We cannot expect people to carry analog cards on their person.
They will have an account and an app demonstrating their upstanding citizenship status.

UBI, travel, renter credit (own nothing), restaurant and public/commercial space admittance, social networking privileges.

Accustomed to flu and pandemic vaccinations and boosters, “vaccines” and other injections for the sundry and sci-fi will be second nature.

Lifestyle changes and relationships with consumption and carbon production. Know your score.

Protected from whom? In those rare instances when called upon to do so (vs. the American Indians,1776 – ca. Civil War), the US government has shown an inability – maybe even a bit of reluctance? – to protect religious pacifists.

I think Cowbell’s question was how have pietists such as the Mennonites and Amish managed to maintain the integrity of the fabric of their society despite the harsh winds of change blowing over this godless land for centuries? The government is doing a lot of that blowing, they’re not protecting anyone but themselves and their masters.

How do the Amish and (to a lesser extent) the Mennonites get by without all that the rest of us deem necessary? Should be through willpower – setting aside immediate gratification in favor of investment in the future. But in fact, of course, it’s largely through strict social pressure. These groups are among the very few examples of a true community left in this country. The seeds of a nascent nation – smothered under an Augean load of manure.

While they sought refuge when available, they didn’t ask anyone to save them. Many sang hymns as their heads were bashed in. They died as they lived, by their faith.

Islander, Gnadenhutten Massacre, March 8, 1782. Christianized Lenape and Mohicans of the German pietist Moravian faith. Plenty of white German pietists massacred in the Susquehanna and Mohawk Valleys (“they sought refuge when available”), although I can’t recall any stories of them singing. Perhaps their faith was weakening.

          • Islander August 9, 2021 at 11:41 pm #

            Blackbird

Gnadenhuette Massacre wasn’t the Feds; it was the PA mililtia.

In fact, after the Revolution, the central government had less clout vis-a-vis Indians than before, as the newly established “states” went their own way and did what they wanted.

This turned out to be a major problem also for the Cherokees in Georgia, since the state of Georgia did not honor any agreements made with the central govt before the Revolution.

Also, I don’t see what this has to do with the Amish and Mennonites. That is, I don’t think either of these groups sought to convert Indians. BTW, Moravian pacifists in Salem, NC, were the first to celebrate July 4.

          • Blackbird August 10, 2021 at 12:50 am #

            Islander, you misunderstand me.

I didn’t mean that the feds bashed in the heads of the Moravians. I meant that the feds were not able to protect them, despite promising the Christianized Lenape their own state in the newly-founded union in return for Lenape support for the rebels, and the building of a fort (Fort Laurens) ostensibly to protect them. In fact, the Christianized Moravian Lenape, who had supported the rebels by providing scouts and intel, ended up under the protection of the British as the Americans proved repeatedly that they couldn’t tell a friendly Indian from an unfriendly one.

The relation between the Amish and Mennonites, on one hand, and the Moravians on the other, is that all three are German pietist groups whose members fled in large numbers from central Europe to Pennsylvania and the Carolinas beginning in the 18th century. Many met their grusome ends on the frontier where they settled to escape the vices of the worldly world. Amish and Mennonites may have been fairly low in number during the War of Independence. Large numbers of other sects however, generally grouped under the term Anabaptist, were well-represented in the borderlands during that time. Many of those experimental Protestant sects disappeared or morphed into something else over the years, many of the descendants to be found among today’s Amish and Mennonites.

You are certainly correct about the power wielded by the states during the early federal period. In my opinion, that is the form of government intended for and appropriate to this country. However it was a nightmare for the Indians, and because of that, for the settlers, and because of that, for the feds. Damned Kentuckians were constantly setting the frontier ablaze.

          • Yohannon August 10, 2021 at 12:17 pm #

She thinks (do you?) that we could have all lived together in peace.

But in fact, the Indians had to be defeated and pushed out of the way or America would have never been. You owe the Indian Fighters everything – all that you have and are, at least in terms of this incarnation. You should be doing puja to their pictures…..

          • Blackbird August 10, 2021 at 2:09 pm #

Hey Yo, thanks for asking a question – and then not turning around and answering it yourself.

I used to think that the American Indians could have been incorporated into American society without losing their identity – if only we would respect them. I retired that embarrassing notion some time ago. In my current opinion, the American Indians were doomed the moment Cristóbal Colon dropped anchor off San Salvador.

I think the only way the Indians could have survived would be to have become Americans Tecumseh, and others, correctly recognized this as extinction of not only the Indians, but also of their connection to their collective spirit.

There is a widespread “Indian Myth” (in my mind almost certainly apocryphal and post-contact) about two brothers, one red, one white, who went off in opposite directions to learn of the world, with the understanding that they would meet up on the opposite side of the world and share their collected knowledge. Of course something went wrong and they didn’t share, they killed each other.

In my opinion, we lost a lot of knowledge when we genocided the Indians. I think they understood our connection to the living Earth much better than my Euro ancestors who paved them over – although these Euros certainly had some advanced ideas regarding activity in the material world. I think we may have missed a great opportunity. I have spent much of my adult life trying to understand the Native American view, and attempting to incorporate it into a modern, western perspective. Not easy to do when the prevailing western ideology denies the existence of a spiritual aspect to life here in the Earthly realm.

I do not do puja. Nor do I participate in any religious rituals, as they only serve to separate me from my soul, or alienate me from my mind. But I do honor and respect all of my ancestors for putting their lives on the line to advance their causes. If any one group had won, I wouldn’t be here – and that’s fine, they needn’t take my potential into account. And I honor and respect the adversaries of my ancestors to the extent that they were fighting for their survival. I see no contradiction in laying wreaths on the graves of American airmen who died by the thousands incinerating German civilians by the hundreds of thousands to defeat the Third Reich, while also honoring the Luftwaffe pilots who died by the hundreds trying to save their Reich from a bunch of souless capitlaist assholes who were determined to extirpate the German “race”. I consider any German who agrees with erasing the memory of Werner Mölders (for example) as a commie/globalist tool, with absolutely no historical memory.

            Ok, where were we?

          • Islander August 10, 2021 at 10:29 pm #

BB, ” I meant that the feds were not able to protect them, despite promising the Christianized Lenape their own state in the newly-founded union in return for Lenape support for the rebels, and the building of a fort (Fort Laurens) ostensibly to protect them.”

            I didn’t misunderstand you.
In fact, that was the point I made regarding states’ not upholding earlier deals.

          WTF are you talking about?

          • Yohannon August 10, 2021 at 12:22 pm #

Quakers were always protesting and causing trouble, walking in to Puritan services naked – stuff like that. At least until they settled down and devoted themselves to making money.

They never realized their dependence on normal people who fight, or at least only unconsciously – just like Liberals today who flee diversity and then endorse it again in their new state.

When the Crackers (Scots-Irish) arrrived in Philadelphia, the Quakers were eager to get them out of the city and onto the frontier where they could become Indian Fighters, depending on them and despising them simultaneously.

In contrast, the humble Pietists, consciously knew of their dependence and prayed for those who protected them. Will you not do the same?

Killed off? I believe the appropriate term is “culling”.
        I jest.

        Crawl. Walk. Run.

The first order of business is to curb the consumption patterns of the developed world who account for an overwhelming amount of resource use.

The .1% can have their .1% lifestyle, but roughly 50% of the world’s population has discretionary income to be “middle class”

They refer to this as the tipping point.

Because the earth cannot provide it.

Easy fix: reset what it means to be middle class. Lower the bar. Egalitarian.

The pandemic is an ingenious psy-op by the Chinese, who have observed the intellectual and moral degradation of the West and, in the best tradition of Sun Tzu, have found a way to turn the enemy against himself.

A virus is the ideal faceless, shapeless manifestation of evil lurking everywhere and anywhere. Now you need a virus albeit a harmless one since it will spread everywhere including your own country. A real virus enables “positives” and case counts to stoke the fear.

Next you provide evidence while seemingly hiding it: hospital parking lots fill up, grainy cell phone pictures of people falling over dead in the streets (to suggest citizen reporting), apartment doors welded shut, citizens dragged off to quarantine, tens of thousands of citizens screaming for help from inside locked apartments,…

I myself have seen videos of all of this including a guy suddenly falling dead and limp but briefly revived before hitting the pavement to brace himself before going limp again.

With this in place you count on the stupidity of some, corruption of others to join the bandwagon and magnify the narrative. The Chinese assessed us accurately: dumb and corrupt. The pandemic has put the ineptitude of our leaders into stark relief. Their primary interest is to increase dictatorial powers. Half the population is hysterical pitted against the other half.

There is ample reason to be apprehensive of the vaccines not only because of ADE but more so because they tamper with processes that are not well understood. The official narrative about the way the vaccine works is very incomplete including only the targeted mechanism but leaving out all the unintended effects (so far as they are already known).

An unintended effect is that the spike protein is not, as claimed, completely degraded in the proteasome and then the (harmless) fragments presented in the MHC frame but on the contrary is uniquely suited to be transported to the cell surface intact.

This intact spike protein has the interesting ability to induce neighboring cells to fuse together forming an unviable “cell” with several nuclei (synctium, https://viralzone.expasy.org/5957?outline=all_by_species). In fact this is a trick the virus uses to get directly from one cell to the next without encountering most of the immune system defenses (all spike proteins of corona viruses, well known). The fused cells have to be removed which is more damaging than removing a single infected cell.

Another point of concern is the delivery mechanism of the vaccine to get the RNA into cells. It’s not as easy as claimed and all sorts of disturbing technologies are under consideration (magnetofection as in magnetic infection, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7103316/) graphene hydrogel (https://www.clinicalomics.com/topics/molecular-dx-topic/rna/mrna/graphene-hydrogel-could-help-mrna-vaccine-target-cancer-more-effectively/),…

I consider forced vaccination an attempt on my life and I am surely not the only one. This does not bode well for coexistence with the hysterical vaxxer-herd and herders.

I recall back in the last century, during, or more likely after the presidency of Bush 2, that there was a meeting of the Bush clan on their ranch in Texas. At that time the senior Bush, George H.W., was reported to have said that the 21st century would be the Chinese century. I don’t recall where I read that, but I can recall that the statement, at that time, would not have been perceived so much as a threat, but as quite odd, almost as though it was either a non sequitur or as a declaration of something already very well understood in certain circles.

        • Tate August 9, 2021 at 6:37 pm #

Bush 2 presidency was in this century not the last. You must mean Bush 1. It’s pretty clear what the old geezer had in mind. Even then the Globalist elites were planning to find their economic growth by betraying the American public doing trade deals & exporting our jobs to China. He knew that if China was given just a little room, they would swamp us, with their enormous population & competent hard-working if robot-like populace. But shareholder value had to be served, at any cost. So the American middle-class had to be sacrificed.

“… enabling a ‘release’ of this virus, with (from China’s point of view) the advantageous weakening of Western economies, and the socio-political destruction of their once-cohesive cultures.”

The U.S. once had a somewhat cohesive culture. That would have been just before the passage of the disastrous Hart-Cellar Act in 1965 allowing tens of millions of legal immigrants to come here.

And Billy Gates is greasing the wheels around Earth (i.e. the 95.7% of Humanity that are neither Red nor Blue) with his life’s fortune because … Swedes and Belgians and Italians … Wait! What?

Americas are not exceptional. Americans are delusional in Believing themselves exceptional.

This is far bigger than DC, Mr K. We all know that.

    ———–

That story has seemed pretty preposterous to me. More likely, the hyper-ambitious and heedless Dr. Fauci just got in too deep with China’s PLA-connected bioweapons lab in his mad scientist quest to be remembered as the man who defeated all coronaviruses with a single silver bullet — enabling a “release” of this virus, with (from China’s point of view) the advantageous weakening of Western economies, and the socio-political destruction of their once-cohesive cultures. If so, well done!

So Billy Gates becomes the largest farmland owner in the USA and buys up Covid testing corporations in the UK?

Every nation on Earth in lockstep in this obvious phoney scamdemic? Different “vaxxes” for different populations. 4,000,000,000 jabs globally before the mandates.

I’m not sure that I like your Police work, there Mr K.

    ——

One cannot Logically find a conclusion too outlandish and, therefore, only accept facts that point elsewhere. Dr Fauci did not ambitiously and incompetently give us AIDS decades ago and now over 4,000,000,000 jabs x 80,000,000,000,000 nano-tech grossness / jab in mere months on his own.

Once developed, it could be mortgaged and foreclosed on…by the elites…for the benefit of the elites. IF you accept that, and it’s looking more reasonable with each passing day, then it’s relatively easy to believe that once those same elites figure out how to grow food and run the machines without human labor then we’re all expendable. Alexander Berenson, substack, Some Actual News

Covid vaccine maker Moderna received 300,000 reports of side effects after vaccinations over a three-month period following the launch of its shot, according to an internal report from a company that helps Moderna manage the reports.

That figure is far higher than the number of side effect reports about Moderna’s vaccine publicly available in the federal system that tracks such adverse events.

Vaccine manufacturers like Moderna are legally required to forward all side effect reports they receive to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System, where they are made public each week.

Run by the Centers for Disease Control and Food & Drug Administration, the VAERS system is crucial to tracking potential problems with vaccines. It helped scientists determine the Covid vaccines may cause heart problems in young adults.

The reason for the gap is not clear. Moderna may simply still be processing the reports, though the number of reports about Moderna’s vaccine in VAERS from the first half of 2021 remained almost flat this week.

Moderna and IQVIA, the company that works with Moderna to handle the reports, did not return emails for comment.

Yoho: There’s more, but you can go there and check it out. Some info on the VAERS system and the requirement to report to the system. This was apparently a leak of an internal memo by someone over there.

I’m not sure that “antibody dependent enhancement [ADE] in those vaccinated, caus[es] the virus to become more infectious and replicate at higher levels.” That’s a claim I’ve never heard before. Isn’t it said that ADE in response to subsequent viral infections releases a “cytokine storm” — in other words an overreaction — of antibodies, which destroys healthy tissues as well as diseased?

    • Epicur August 9, 2021 at 4:31 pm #

Exactly what causes a cytokine storm has not been identified, but at the link below you will see information from one of the leading experts that there are genetic defects in the immune system. Also in the article is a link to peer reviewed journal articles and some popular media articles.

If you read you will see that all cytokine storms are not created equal. It is believed that there are a number of different proteins involved.

ADE makes the infection worse which, by extension, could increase the risk of a cytokine storm, but I don’t think that would be the main effect.

The fact that cytokine storms are genetically related is one of the main reasons I have passed on the vaccine. If one is not genetically susceptible one is introducing the spike protein, in massive numbers, for no good reason. Without the cytokine storm, covid is not much of a threat.

    • JTinMD August 9, 2021 at 4:33 pm #

Since the “vaccines” are non-sterilizing (do not kill the virus), they are putting big pressure on the virus to mutate, which, of course, it does. Hence “breakthrough” cases in the “vaccinated.” Darwinian natural selection. Big Pharma know all about it. Criminal.

    • michael August 10, 2021 at 1:27 am #

ADE has a couple of mechanisms. One of them is increased entry of virus into cells including into cells not targeted before. This can increase viral replication by a factor of 4000:

      https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26497532/

“…complement-dependent ADE of human parvovirus B19 confers up
to a 4000-fold increase in virus endothelial cell uptake in
the presence of human parvovirus B19-specific antibodies.”

Click on “PMC Full text” to get the whole article.

The immune reaction always has collateral damage but is necessary to get rid of the invader (like bombing the enemy on your own territory). But if the bombers cannot get rid of the enemy quickly enough and the bombing campaign goes on long enough the collateral damage becomes significant. This is why there is a big difference if you have sterilizing antibodies (the immune system will clear the infection quickly) versus nonsterilizing but binding antibodies (it takes longer to get rid of the infection).

The binding antibodies will attach themselves to the pathogens and call in the bombers via all sorts of signalling pathways. The biggest bomberfleet is the swarm of neutrophils (100 billion in bone marrow) and they carry some of the nastiest bombs, see the following extremely interesting article:

      https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fphys.2018.00113/full

      • michael August 10, 2021 at 1:44 am #

An interesting passage in the article on neutrophils comments on the effect of high blood sugar on neutrophils:
“In hyperglycemia human and mouse neutrophils are primed…”

In short: they throw the switch to arm the bombs.

Jim isn’t an “anti-vaxxer”. These ARE NOT vaccines. They have completely broken with medical tradition. They are based upon a completely different approach (manipulating DNA). They are not safe because they have not been fully tested, (one step of the whole testing process, also being the time-table required to determine any negative effects… like a minimum of 10 years!). They’ve never come up with an effective vaccine for any covid virus for the last 30+ years. How can they come up with one now in less than a year? We already know the FDA is corrupt and incompetent (VIOXX is one of a thousand examples) yet, they haven’t even approved any of these vaccines yet. My point is that MaryQ doesn’t ‘believe in’ COVID, yet this MD whose argument she is so infatuated by (after all it fits a large chunk of her peculiarly personalized narrative) clearly DOES “believe in” COVID-19 and clearly accepts the much-maligned PCR test as well, to the point of charging $99 to run it for you.

So, sure – a person doesn’t have to agree with ALL another guy’s viewpoints, but if you choose to rely on his expertise in ONE area, then it’s a risky call to not accept that expertise in ANOTHER area, especially when you, yourself (i.e. MaryQ) has no matching expertise in ANY of this MD’s areas of knowledge or specialty.

She wants to have her cake & eat it too, which might be interpreted as outright hypocrisy if not just plain cognitive dissonance.

Regarding the Olympics, I have a suggestion:

The amount of hugging and touching among athletes (and athletes and their coaches) is excessive. Take the US women’s beach volleyball team (2 persons). After EVERY point, whether the point is won or lost, there is a heartfelt hug plus a touching together of their respective hands. Enough already.

Or take basketball, both men’s and women’s. After every free throw, whether made or not made, the other four players MUST touch the shooters hand before the second shot.

Further, there are the tiny little female gymnasts who must endure excessively long (and bordering on sexual) hugs from male coaches. Haven’t they learned anything from the coach who is now serving several life sentences for this type of activity?

    • Q. Shtik August 9, 2021 at 4:49 pm #

Billy Gates is a shifty lizard creature that slithers upon the muck of the Earth and does not deserve any attention or respect. I consider my social security deductions basic theft from weekly paycheck, and I do not except to ever see the benefits of that money at any time in my future, so the attempt at withholding it from me would be moot. I have already written it off in the big scheme of things.

They literally want to change the city charter to eliminate the requirement of having a police chief, as well as the requirement to have a certain number of police officers per capita.

Of course, they say something like, “Well, this doesn’t mean that we would do those things. It just eliminates the red tape and roadblocks that stand unjustly in the people’s way to bringing about new ways to keep our citizens safe.”

      • WilbursHuman August 9, 2021 at 8:32 pm #

Seems to lead to this book…………….

The Michael Prophecy and the Years 2012-2033: Rudolf Steiner and the Culmination of Anthroposophy (Paperback)

In a series of vibrant and lively essays, Steffen Hartmann focuses on a little-known but critically important theme relating to the teachings of Rudolf Steiner, who described the collaboration between human souls connected to the Platonic and Aristotelian “schools,” or groupings,” both on Earth and in the spiritual world. These groups of souls work in a wider metaphysical collective known as the “Michael School,” led by the Archangel Michael, the ruling Spirit of our age. Prior to birth, millions of human souls were prepared in this school to face the challenges of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries”.

        https://www.thebookstall.com/book/9781912230419

        • WilbursHuman August 9, 2021 at 8:33 pm #

The book begins with this theme and leads to Rudolf Steiner’s “Michael Prophecy” of 1924, his vision of the millennium and the era in which we live, especially the crucial period between 2012 and 2033.

        • MrMangoOnMyShoulder August 9, 2021 at 8:42 pm #

This book is from Sept 2020, and while I’ve only looked for a few minutes, can’t easily find a citation page from it…doesn’t say where he said it, just says he did in 1924.

          I have to call questionable.

I want it to be legit. Just need to see where he said it.

          • WilbursHuman August 9, 2021 at 9:26 pm #

            Here ya go……………

            October 7, 1917
85 – “The time will come – and it may not be far off – when quite different tendencies will come up at a
congress like the one held in 1912 and people will say: It is pathological for people to even think in terms of
spirit and soul. ‘Sound’ people will speak of nothing but the body. It will be considered a sign of illness for
anyone to arrive at the idea of any such thing as a spirit or a soul. People who think like that will be
considered to be sick and – you can be quite sure of it – a medicine will be found for this. . . . The soul will be
made non-existent with the aid of a drug. Taking a ‘sound point of view,’ people will invent a vaccine to
influence the organism as early as possible, preferably as soon as it is born, so that this human body never
even gets the idea that there is a soul and spirit.
“. . . the heirs of modern materialism will look for the vaccine to make the body ‘healthy,’ that is, make its
constitution such that this body no longer talks of such rubbish as soul and spirit, but takes a ‘sound’ view of
the forces which live in engines and in chemistry and let planets and suns arise from nebulae in the cosmos.
Materialistic physicians will be asked to drive the souls out of humanity.

          • WilbursHuman August 9, 2021 at 9:30 pm #

            I Like this tooo

            October 27, 1917
            199-200 – “. . . the spirits of darkness are now among us. . . .
“. . . I have told you that the spirits of darkness are going to inspire their human hosts, in whom they will be
dwelling, to find a vaccine that will drive all inclination toward spirituality out of people’s souls when they
are still very young, and this will happen in a roundabout way through the living body. Today, bodies are
vaccinated against one thing and another; in future, children will be vaccinated with a substance which it will
certainly be possible to produce, and this will make them immune, so that they do not develop foolish
inclinations connected with spiritual life – ‘foolish’ here, or course, in the eyes of materialists.
            . . .
“. . . a way will finally be found to vaccinate bodies so that these bodies will not allow the inclination toward
spiritual ideas to develop and all their lives people will believe only in the physical world they perceive with
the senses. Out of impulses which the medical profession gained from presumption – oh, I beg your pardon,
from the consumption [tuberculosis] they themselves suffered – people are now vaccinated against
consumption, and in the same way they will be vaccinated against any inclination toward spirituality. This is
merely to give you a particularly striking example of many things which will come in the near and more
distant future in this field – the aim being to bring confusion into the impulses which want to stream down to
earth after the victory of the [Michaelic] spirits of light [in 1879].”

    • MrMangoOnMyShoulder August 9, 2021 at 8:30 pm #

I mean, fantastic quote. But I’m sure we’ve all seen enough Mark Twain quotes circulate that were never able to be attributed to him in any hard copy publication to have to think twice about something as choice as this Steiner nugget.

Just curious if there’s a book or publication that contains this quote from over a hundred years ago that can be pointed to.

  70. tucsonspur August 9, 2021 at 9:51 pm #

    Another point of view:

‘The only way I can really describe Anthroposophy is as an esoteric crypto-religious organisation based on a mystical and racist view of humanity and an astrological and clairvoyant view of understanding science. Anthroposophy is full of barmpot ideas, such as the literal existence of gnomes, that the British Isles floats on the sea, homeopathy works, and burning mice ritually will protect your crops from them. Oh, and if you are good, you will be reincarnated as an Northern European Ayrian. And its adherents either don’t want to know this themselves and most definitely do not want you to know this. Should its fundamental beliefs and aims become common knowledge then it would cause all sorts of problems, not least for Gove’s new free Steiner Schools*. Adherents deny and spread disingenuous misinformation in order to soften criticism.’

‘He claimed that humans were actually a combination of physical and spiritual entities and that our spirits are reincarnated though a hierarchy of existence. Good karma would lead to reincarnation in higher races with the ultimate prize of being incarnated in the body of a “germanic-nordic” body. This racist doctrine, inspired by alleged clairvoyant revelation, was obviously resonant with other movements in Germany at the time.’

    From this article:

The search for meaning in existence is endless, and the ideas to explain it run the gamut from the desperately non-sensical and nocuous to the nobly nomological and spiritually novel. This guy is somewhere in the muddled middle.

NIce how they hide “homeopathy works” which it does, in the middle of a bunch of more crazy-sounding stuff.

So if you think homeopathy is crackpot, you’re saying that herbs and vitamins and nutritious food has nothing to do with healing or maintaining health? That’s insane.

It really is amazing to me, that people now overwhelmingly believe that you can have a shit diet and take pharma poison and you’re good to go.

      THAT is the quackery belief.

BB, from your comment and what probably inspired it, quick update on revisiting Siddhartha decades later, minus the substances. Much better this time. Smashing, really. Makes such strong points with few words. I had forgotten the Kamala there, the courtesan, the pricey, ambitious whore. Strange premonition, no? Do you think Ms Harris’ parents had read the book?

But walking away from the Buddha, from believing that others, even saintly ones, can teach us what our own existence means… that’s genius. “I want to get rid of my ego, but if I stay here and become your follower with all the other monks, you will become my ego, the monks will become my ego” Gautama half smiles. Ok Rulo, I’ll give Siddhartha another try – maybe this winter. But I really need to get through The Glass Bead Game at least once – maybe this winter. Hesse always seemed to be chipping away at the same rock. That’s good, it appears to be the same rock I’m chipping away at.

Some need to belong. Some need to avoid belonging.

“Writing is good, thinking is better… ” True, but it’s useful to write down what you’ve thought, not only to preserve it outside yourself, but to organize your thoughts within your mind. Once you’ve written down your thoughts, you know what you can do then? Think about them!

“Cleverness” – the kids who thought they were smart because they were smart enough to figure out how to cheat. Drove halfway up the mountain, called it success, pulled over to the side of the road, put the car in neutral, and slowly started the long spiraling slide back to the bottom.

I “built” a new cinema – a new narrative form for film based on a re-definition of the screen. It preserves, ‘approves,’ and draws on the American heritage in cinema, with whatever its flaws, while at he same time opening a new horizon for Cinema. I think Cinema is/was the main and best creative cultural movement.activity of the western world. So you can think of it as a parallel structure in the world of Cinema.

What is for sure is that if it helps stiffen resistance and to bust false narratives, then that is a very positive and welcome role for it.

  73. Proton August 9, 2021 at 11:14 pm #

This age of “manufactured narratives” sez JHK. Sheesh, to say the least. The boys and girls running things sure drawing from a deep well of creativity when it comes to conjuring stories.

You can use the word “narrative” if you like, a term of late Latin derivation. A definition you can find online where it says “to tell, to recount, relate, explain” and that’s alright I suppose but IMO that doesn’t quite cover it.

I prefer the term “lie”, a much more vigorous word of Germanic origin, not in the sense of resting horizontally, but rather “speaking falsely for the purpose of misleading”, which really is what all these so-called manufactured narratives are for.

Peddlers of fiction are what our governing classes are, not very smart ones at that, telling tall tales that nobody with even the most rudimentary knowledge of the world couldn’t see straight through.

We talk about globalization never thinking to apply the concept to bone-headedness because that too is globalized. Just look at that Wuhan lab which was a joint venture of sorts between France and China until China started cutting France out of the action. Would anyone with an ounce of sense have expected otherwise?

Yet even after the most egregious howlers our high society fully expects to be believed. Is this boneheadedness? Or maybe it’s chutzpah, but if it’s the latter I’m in awe. Do they have no shame?

Well, no, not only are our leaders brainless, they’re shameless. Consider just this last generation with its string of whoppers, Iraqi WMDs, the Steele dossier, Russian collusion/interference, the malicious prosecutions, the coverup of covid’s lab origins not to mention American funding. And that’s just a few. And they keep telling the most absurd lies and they expect that we’ll swallow them.

Does JHK’s theorizing sound outlandish? I suspect that it isn’t outlandish enough, because if we knew the truth, to use Jack Ruby’s words, we would be amazed.

    • SoftStarLight August 10, 2021 at 3:00 am #

Amazed, awed, terrified. Truth can set you free but it’s also a double edged sword. So be very careful what you wish for. The Devil is a liar and knows no shame. But now most people think the Devil is an outlandish concept. Out of sight out of mind. It was also the way the elites used to work. They were there though just like the Devil whether you believe in them or not. So really it is more like out of mind out of sight. Their lies are obviously deceptive to those who can see. But for those who can’t see their lies are numbing, lulling, even comforting. They have knowledge and sophistication you see. And thus, authority.

      • a kullervo August 10, 2021 at 7:57 am #

The devil is also one of God’s creatures.

Jekyll and Hyde can act as symbionts or they can plague each other but killing one is to kill both.

        • SoftStarLight August 10, 2021 at 1:54 pm #

Yeah. I know its naive to think that the devil could be saved but its probably not wrong to pray for him. Though there is such a thing as pure evil. I am not sure if pure evil can simply be the other side of the coin with pure good. My metaphysical understandings may not be that enlightened. Then there is the whole issue of the black, white, and gray. Which may be where you are with this?

          • a kullervo August 11, 2021 at 4:14 am #

            @SoftStarLight

I beg to disagree: There is no such thing as a pure state – everything exists in a continuum*.

What is the name for the moment when you go from happy to sad, from despondent to exhilarated?
That’s the “pure” state: elusive and pure, like a flame.

            * Is the human body a solid? And yet, it is made of up to 60% of water. Where do you draw the line? I understand that you, as a human being, feel a strong attachement to clear cut boundaries, especially when it comes to your relationships with The Other. The question then is: why do you think water droplets tend to unite? (Have you ever witnessed a flood?)

The Shadow used to have natural outlets (e.g., hunting, the occasional brawls) to exert its tendencies and reset the personality’s equilibrium; nowadays, there’s simply too much Shadow restraining and the Shadow reveals itself mainly through insanity.

        • Rulo Deschamps August 10, 2021 at 7:56 pm #

“Contrary to a Freudian definition of shadow, however, the Jungian shadow can include everything outside the light of consciousness and may be positive or negative.”

kullervo, not necessarily a Mr Hyde. As you say, hunting, random violence… I’d add ecstasy (the state of spirit, not MDMA, or maybe the drug too), open fires in dark woods, believing in fairies and trolls and seeing parts of the natural world as their manifestations (fireflies, mushrooms, streams, thunder), myth, fear, rage, sexual arousal… the deep memory of the species, the language before language and directed thought, that is, thought expressed in speech as opposed to images and emotions.

“there’s simply too much Shadow restraining and the Shadow reveals itself mainly through insanity”. Deep insight right there. The ghouls you see at 7eleven, ready to explode, have had too much gaming and screens, too many shitty jobs and social awkwardness, and no connection to what it once meant to be a human in a hostile planet.

I don’t think “narrative” is really the same as “a lie.” That is, two nouns.

A narrative is a story that is narrated by someone. So, it is not universal but reflects a “narrative voice.”

IMO a “narrative” as it is being used is, in fact, a story that is confected of a number of lies but also with infill of speculations, some true statements, etc. It is designed to sound “objective”—the “narrative voice” is “impartial observer.” But of course the “narrative” is an attempt to monopolize the narrative space and leave no space f “alternative narratives.” No Rashomon here!!

It is relatively easy to refute a lie.

But a narrative is a story that sounds plausible and “true,” but that contains a multitude of elements that must be analyzed and dissected to show how it is designed to mislead.

Consider the possibility that Life and the Life Force (remember them?) may have  determined human actions have now crossed a boundary Life deems impermissible.

The current plagues may be an effort to contain human actions that tax the ability of the planet to support other life forms..We try desperately to cope with the various manifestations of Covids that Life may have sown as impediments to human activities; adding to this are the millions of human deaths that are occurring. In the face of this kind of onslaught, we are helpless.

The outburst coincides with the remarkable appearance of very sophisticated Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and astounding robotic performances. In may not be a coincidence these two phenomena have arrived at this time. 1:The Covid plagues may be Life’s attempt to avoid planetary distress prior to Life’s possible resort to a ‘final solution’ to humanity’s insensitivity to fellow inhabitants of Earth. 2: Life’s possible desire to have awareness survive the passing of humans from the scene by allowing AI to continue until Life is assured consciousness and awareness will survive, artificially, beyond human existence.

Until Life appears satisfied we humans are responding to its efforts to preserve life, the plagues may continue indefinitely. We are being warned but its doubtful we’ll respond. Humans appear tone-deaf to the screaming of our desperate fellow creatures which we regard as concerns of Life and not of ourselves. There is more Life contained in a bag of grass-seed than has been found in all the known Universe.Stay home.

“..This is the same outfit, under “Joe Biden,” that is making noises about a national vaccine mandate, for vaccines that are not actually vaccines, strictly speaking. No, thank you…”

Please read and understand how mRNA vaccines work. 8 months? Try decades of mRNA vaccine research. The spike protein is produced for only a period of hours to a day or two and it’s done. Basically, the period of time of injection site swelling is roughly the amount of time of expression. Non-DNA coded mRNA does NOT persist in the cell pumping out protein 24/7 . Biology doesn’t work that way. Jim keeps making these statements even when they are clearly not factual.

      Decades of research, yes.

Successful outcomes for animals or humans, curing them of the disease they were trying to prevent? No. Many sources have also said a majority of the animals died. Don’t know about the humans that were experimented on before last year though. Maybe they were just dandy.

I have friends (both PhDs, but certainly virologists) who last year said the same thing as outatime…they heard the mRNA process has been “refined” long enough already over the years, so problem solved, lift that sleeve and trust the benevolent establishment…

      • JohnAZ August 10, 2021 at 11:18 am #

        One adder

The big problem with the mRNA over the years was the encapsulation of the mRNA protein to protect it from being destroyed by the immune system before it could invade body cells to create the s Proteins. The development of the lipoprotein that is being used is recent.

    • JohnAZ August 10, 2021 at 11:02 am #

You have stated one side of the issue very well.

The other side produces arguments too.

      Both are wrong.

The BS that is thrown around about the vaxx is enormous.

If the proponents were right, there would not be any serious side effects. The vaxx would be contained in the muscle and no systemic reactions would occur. For the huge majority of folks, it works and very little side effects show up. But for some, not so good. Same as other vaccines.

A variable that I have discussed is the entrance to the vascular system via the injection site. Giving an IM, the plunger is to be pulled back to check for blood indicating the needle is in or near a blood vessel. If so redo the injection.

In the great rush to stab people, do you think that this was done 100%.

There is a possible variability to the amount of vaccine directly into the blood stream.

      Not good! For all vaccines.

The anti vaxxers take the very small numbers of folks that react to the jab and blow it out of proportion. Risks like .005% mortality were expected and happened. The reduction in risk from the jab to the actual virus is worth the risk in most cases. For some however, the vaxx hurts.

Note also that the anti-vaxxers are convinced that the reaction to the virus is overdone and really is a government takeover mechanism. In this I am in complete agreement. The Left has dominated the political theater for a long time, and right now really controls the country.

      Using mechanisms like Covid.

A big question is why hasn’t the governments reaction to bad flu seasons have not shut down things like now. The delta variant is so overblown which gives away their conspiracy. Idiots!

Anyway, the decision to vaxx is a personal one. The mass production method that was practiced though, IMHO, adds variability that was not necessary. Note that during the 40000 folks in the qual testing, very little side effects were noted, and no fatalities. Could it be that procedures were adhered to more precisely?

One more. The s protein has been labeled the Devil incarnate. The modeling says that the s proteins are torn down in a few weeks as the immune system reacts to them. Even the antibodies created are torn down with time as the inflammation subsides. However, if S proteins and mRNA find there way into the bloodstream prematurely in sufficient quantity, they will cause inflammation damage to the walls with platelet caused clotting maybe occurring.

My biggest beef is with the medical PTB. These are all easy to detect problems. Why have we not seen data to show what is really happening? Clotting from wall damage? Show it. mRNA destruction in three days, show it. S protein lasting indeterminately caused immunity storms, show it. Antibody and memory cell creation in all folks? Show it. Why hasn’t it happened?

      Politics.

I check Drudge most days just for a headline check to see what the masses are ingesting for news, before comparing it to other sources.

Over the last week the headlines have ramped up significantly on delta disaster, hospitals overrun, etc.

Today we’ve hit a new peak:

“911 LONE STAR: APPEAL FOR OUT OF STATE COVID HELP”

    “AUSTIN WARNS ‘CATASTROPHE'”

    “FL REQUESTS VENTILATORS”

No that may be…but I know people in both of those states, and life is normal, except for what they read and hear on the news. Same here.

Something bigger is about to happen if they’re doing this much precondiioning over something no one (that I know, at least) seems to be seeing in real life.

(Also, I thought they stopped using ventilators last year because they were killing patients…now they want more of them?)

    • Disaffected August 10, 2021 at 11:26 am #

Ventilators make great props. They’re big, expensive, quite tangible, and you know you don’t want to be on one. It’s the story that matters, not the actual fact of whether they’re needed or not. But yes, we’re about to be assaulted with non stop bullshit once again. Probably all winter long.

Mango, same here with the NYT, once or twice a week, scan frontpage.

Just now, under the screaming Cuomo, covid and “infrastructure” bill headlines,

“Bolsonaro discredits electronic voting, raising fears of a power grab” Note that the Brazilian prez is not saying anything against voting per se, just questioning the machines. Story goes on to compare with “false” allegations of fraud in the US.

“Messi leaves FC Barcelona to sign w Paris St Germain”, only noteworthy to me because he’s the only Argie, besides the Pope, capable of making the front cover of the world’s media every time he sneezes. He’s close to retirement, does he need another quarter billion? He’s worth over a billion already. He could have gone back to his hometown’s Newell’s Old Boys in Rosario, Arg, give them a year for free, but no. His greed is unsurprising, habitual, the norm. His talent is anything but.

The NYT’s Judith Miller published a piece there that stated Iraq had WMD for sure. Along with Colin Powell’s presentation, it was the push that bloody, costly adventure needed to happen. Despite the millions protesting.

This is a six minute video by a doctor explaining why covid19 is not going to go away and the vaccines are ineffective. The point he makes about animal reservoirs is particularly important.

And here’s some really good news about those hundreds of thousands entering the country illegally :

    https://news.yahoo.com/schumer-outlines-107-billion-plan-144800482.html

The plan calls for providing lawful permanent status to an unspecified number of illegal immigrants and “smart and effective” border security measures.

Covid is a hoax and a Trojan horse.

This video with James Corbett explains what a few of us keep trying to get across.

      https://theconsciousresistance.com/the-activation-7-overcoming-the-fear-of-freedom-with-james-corbett/

This is a move to create a worldwide security state. I am not sure you fathom how large this is. Did you check some of the links I posted earlier?

You are being herded into a system in which you will be tracked and traced and blocked from your daily activities, including the purchase of food, if you have not complied. We are in the beginning stages of a takeover.

      Wake up.

I believe a lot of the concern & outrage being expressed is due to the perception that people were actually ever represented.

The charge by GB against the founders is that the richest (washington, jefferson, et al) were simply going all in against the crown.

Monarchists noted that without a balancing state presence to create a bulwhark and ballast, the (temporal) govt would be subject to influence and corruption.

So what happened? As early as 1820 jackson was battling the banks and corporations gaming federal finances and projects via collusion and insider dealing.

One then begins to wonder about the rationale of all of the subsequent wars, where mysteriously the USA is always cast as the good guy.

And so ive come to think the masses have always been conned. After all, didnt bernays not only admit but basically rubbed it everyones face?

If this is the case, then getting excited about this most recent episode is really excercise in futility. I figure the name of the game is to be like a russian peasant who survives czars, commies and whatever comes next.

Besides, our entire civilized world is a mirage. Nothing would exist at all as we know it without FFs. That includes the USA.

        • JohnAZ August 10, 2021 at 11:35 am #

          Interesting thoughts.

The lack of a monarchy in the US leaves us without a spiritual(sorta) identity indicating a national unity. Without it, war has taken its place. I believe that Wag the Dog has been US policy since it’s onset.

How to maintain power over the masses?

          Beat them down or

          Out think them.

So we need to bring in ignorant folks from around the world to maintain our plebeian masses so that the PTB can maintain their advantage. Again, US policy since its onset.

          • JohnAZ August 10, 2021 at 11:37 am #

So if you are a PTB corporate America, the first folks you want to destroy and subjugate are the middle class folks that are smarter than you are.

Sound familiar? A hallmark of Marxism.

          • JohnAZ August 10, 2021 at 11:39 am #

Who was the last president that was representative of the business class? Hint, they destroyed him.

      • JohnAZ August 10, 2021 at 11:27 am #

        Agree.

But I look the other way at the problem.

Why hasn’t science been working on virus control for decades?

I do not know about you but the anti vaxx excuse that it is no worse than the flu or a cold is a cop out.

I do not even want to be sick or experience the mortality risk of the flu or a bad cold, let alone HIV, hepatitis or Covid.

        • Yohannon August 10, 2021 at 11:45 am #

I think you have diagnosed yourself at last. You’ve always been a hypocondriact, frightened by sickness or the very idea of it. This was nothing new. You were a prime candidate for their terror campaign and sure enough it worked on you to the nth degree.

          • JohnAZ August 10, 2021 at 11:51 am #

And you are a BS artist by saying you would rather be sick than have science provide an alternative.

Hypochondriac, you are so full of baloney. How many hours have you spent working in a tertiary care center being exposed to every bug in the book.

You obviously do not know what you are talking about!! As usual!!

          • Yohannon August 10, 2021 at 12:24 pm #

You should have stayed out of medicine. It may have had a bad effect on your mental health.

          • JohnAZ August 10, 2021 at 12:36 pm #

Well, staying out of it certainly has not helped yours.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder August 10, 2021 at 12:42 pm #

“…rather be sick than have science provide an alternative.”

But didn’t nature provide us with an alternative? Namely, getting sick, and then developing an immunity as a result.

If people were bleeding from the eyeballs and losing limbs in the street, I think there would be a lot less pushback from so many people. But many would never even presume to ask science to take care of a virus that usually amounts to a mild to severe cold.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder August 10, 2021 at 12:44 pm #

Let alone put a large portion of the country (world) out of business or on the precipice, terrorize kids with masks and tests and fear, pit families and friends against each other over something they truly know nothing about or have much control over beyond standard hygiene.

I’d much rather get a bad cold, which would boost my immune system and provide me with antibodies than get some poison experimental shot dreamed up by Bill Gates & co for massive profit.

Especially after thousands (if not more) have dropped dead from it.
