The rewards of civilization have come to seem rather trashy in these bleak days of late empire; so, why even bother pretending to be civilized? This appears to be the ethos driving our politics and culture now. But driving us where? Why, to a spectacular sort of crack-up, and at warp speed, compared to the more leisurely breakdown of past societies that arrived at a similar inflection point where Murphy’s Law replaced the rule of law.

The US Military Academy at West point decided to “upgrade” its mission statement this week by deleting the phrase Duty, Honor, Country that summarized its essential moral orientation. They replaced it with an oblique reference to “Army Values,” without spelling out what these values are, exactly, which could range from “embrace the suck” to “charlie foxtrot” to “FUBAR” — all neatly applicable to our country’s current state of perplexity and dread.

Are you feeling more confident that the US military can competently defend our country? Probably more like the opposite, because the manipulation of language is being used deliberately to turn our country inside-out and upside-down. At this point we probably could not successfully pacify a Caribbean island if we had to, and you’ve got to wonder what might happen if we have to contend with countless hostile subversive cadres who have slipped across the border with the estimated nine-million others ushered in by the government’s welcome wagon.

Momentous events await. This Monday, the Supreme Court will entertain oral arguments on the case Missouri, et al. v. Joseph R. Biden, Jr., et al. The integrity of the First Amendment hinges on the decision. Do we have freedom of speech as set forth in the Constitution? Or is it conditional on how government officials feel about some set of circumstances? At issue specifically is the government’s conduct in coercing social media companies to censor opinion in order to suppress so-called “vaccine hesitancy” and to manipulate public debate in the 2020 election. Government lawyers have argued that they were merely “communicating” with Twitter, Facebook, Google, and others about “public health disinformation and election conspiracies.”

You can reasonably suppose that this was our government’s effort to disable the truth, especially as it conflicted with its own policy and activities — from supporting BLM riots to enabling election fraud to mandating dubious vaccines. Former employees of the FBI and the CIA were directly implanted in social media companies to oversee the carrying-out of censorship orders from their old headquarters. The former general counsel (top lawyer) for the FBI, James Baker, slid unnoticed into the general counsel seat at Twitter until Elon Musk bought the company late in 2022 and flushed him out. The so-called Twitter Files uncovered by indy reporters Matt Taibbi, Michael Shellenberger, and others, produced reams of emails from FBI officials nagging Twitter execs to de-platform people and bury their dissent. You can be sure these were threats, not mere suggestions.

One of the plaintiffs joined to Missouri v. Biden is Dr. Martin Kulldorff, a biostatistician and professor at the Harvard Medical School, who opposed Covid-19 lockdowns and vaccine mandates. He was one of the authors of the open letter called The Great Barrington Declaration (October, 2020) that articulated informed medical dissent for a bamboozled public. He was fired from his job at Harvard just this past week for continuing his refusal to take the vaccine. Harvard remains among a handful of institutions that still require it, despite massive evidence that it is ineffective and hazardous. Like West Point, maybe Harvard should ditch its motto, Veritas, Latin for “truth.”

A society hostile to truth can’t possibly remain civilized, because it will also be hostile to reality. That appears to be the disposition of the people running things in the USA these days. The problem, of course, is that this is not a reality-optional world, despite the wishes of many Americans (and other peoples of Western Civ) who wish it would be.

Next up for us will be “Joe Biden’s” attempt to complete the bankruptcy of our country with $7.3-trillion proposed budget, 20 percent over the previous years spending, based on a $5-trillion tax increase. Good luck making that work. New York City alone is faced with paying $387 a day for food and shelter for each of an estimated 64,800 illegal immigrants, which amounts to $9.15-billion a year. The money doesn’t exist, of course. New York can thank “Joe Biden’s” executive agencies for sticking them with this unbearable burden. It will be the end of New York City. There will be no money left for public services or cultural institutions. That’s the reality and that’s the truth.

A financial crack-up is probably the only thing short of all-out war that will get the public’s attention at this point. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it happened next week. Historians of the future, stir-frying crickets and fiddleheads over their campfires will marvel at America’s terminal act of gluttony: managing to eat itself alive.

As just read on Zerohedge: An Atlanta judge, who donated to Fani Willis when she was running for office, ruled on Friday that the highly conflicted Fulton County DA simply has to break up with her lover, Nathan Wade, who she hired to the tune of $600,000 to work on the Trump election interference case.

Think about that for a moment. Fraud and misconduct all the way to the Moon and back and not a thing will happen. “You’d better break up with him!” Is this 3rd grade? Is this a joke?

The rule of law is finished. Act accordingly.

Act accordingly is the right attitude. Time for us all to stop being slaves that don’t know we are slaves, because we clearly ARE! And, there is never any ‘rule of law’ for slaves.

    • Cankerpuss March 15, 2024 at 10:37 am #

The rule of law applies only to those who oppose the narrative of the leftist fuckers that are currently imposing their rules upon us. If you deviate from that the law is fierce and unconstitutional. If you follow the law, spew their mantras and support their people, well, there is no law.

      This Country is pathetic.

Exactly. Fanny and her boyfriend don’t have to worry about being suicided, or burning up in a car. They are the privileged class.

Fanny being told that all she has to do is update her relationship on Facebook to “Single – Again…” is simply telling her that there will be no consequences for her malfeasance.

I largely agree, the Republi-crats in the KEY positions are the same.

But, in general, speaking for myself and my views, if you pick a Democratic politician, any Democrat, elected, appointed, whatever, there is a 96% chance they are despicable and are destroying the US. 96% chance.

For a Republican, it is 84%.

So, while the overwhelming majority of them are awful, your chances of finding needle in the haystack are four, FOUR, times greater for a Republican.

          They ultimately are all owned.

Career (Republican) politico Mike Lofgren wrote a great book–or is it a confession, the “Deep State”, came out in 2016.

He may not be a CFNer. It’s an easy and cynically entertaining read. Great vacation book for those who have the means and time to go on vacation.

And if you do take a trip, or “travel for work”, I suggest you do it sooner rather than later.

Our days of going “away from home-vacation” are coming to a close. And “travel for work” may become “relocate temporarily indefinitely” or simply, no more.

I’m not even particularly bothered by the inflation. I am a businessman, and when inflation goes up, and gas goes up, I raise my fees. I happily explain this to my clients, and they pay up, they don’t have a choice as everyone in my field has been raising their rates. People like me don’t let inflation affect us, and in fact, as I collect more money, it becomes easier to pay my office rent and my mortgage. Perhaps I will pay my house off early, and invest the money to take advantage of rising interest rates, and get a good return on my investment. Saying, week in and week out, year in and year out, that the dollar is about to collapse, the power grid is about to fail, WW3 is about to break out. . .is kind of boring, when you get down to it. None of these things ever happen. . .of course.

          • Beryl of Oyl March 15, 2024 at 10:07 am #

Not that I believe for one minute that this person is a businessman, but raising your fees only works to the point where your clients can’t pay anymore.

At some point people won’t be able to afford what you are charging. It’s happening with homes now. People who should be buying homes, first time home buyers and young families, cannot do so. I work in the land development field and I have home builders telling me that if they don’t start building more affordable homes they will go out of business.

I have tenants paying 1/2 going rate. I refuse to raise the rent even though my costs go up. Some of them are 10-20 year long term renters.People are getting gouged all over whether it be food, energy, taxes, etc. The Gov. is screwing the shit out of us .

          • Cankerpuss March 15, 2024 at 11:17 am #

stelmo, yes, you are right. What amazes me though is that these people who are getting screwed so badly by the Government still have ample money to pay for porn, pay for their I-phones, eat out at Burger King, pay for Direct TV, buy lottery tickets (the lottery is now over half a billion).

We may be screwed but it isn’t enough to warrant a major change in anyone.

Dilbert reminds me of that lady captured in a photograph, drinking a beer and smoking a cigarette on the edge of a buff by the sea as a storm was blowing in. An ocean swell surmounted the bluff and took her out to sea. The photographer, with his telephoto lens, snapped the odd pose of said woman on her back, beer lifted in hand and cigarette in her mouth. Tragically, she drowned.

“all Mass gotta do now is start pimping out teenage girls in the pot shops”

As someone who, in my flaming youth, “went with” (Does anyone even use that term anymore? Showing my age here… sigh) guys who used quite a bit of pot, let me tell you, it completely disconnects their brains from their dicks. All they want to do is eat pizza and Ring Dings, and stare at the groovy patterns in the wood floor. And that was the weak pot we had back in the 70’s. It probably shrivels their naughty bits completely now.

Pot. It makes WOMEN horny, and MEN into vegetables. And not even useful veggies, like cucumbers.

@dilbert: many of these collapses have already happened- on an individual basis, or regional basis or both. The analogy would be that of a balloon slowly deflating, as opposed to the balloon bursting.

That it has not happened like a balloon bursting is probably a blessing.

But not to worry- the Severely Mentally Ill in charge will get the job done soon enough.

        • dilbert113 March 15, 2024 at 1:32 pm #

Admin: You run a great blog, and thank you for giving me the opportunity to participate in it. Your World Made by Hand Series was excellent, I really enjoyed it. You are 100 percent correct that the US cannot repay its debt, and will not repay it, and yes, as the interest rates rise, it will eventually cause some sort of major financial crisis. Where you and I differ, respectfully, is on the timing of such a crisis. I read a very good book, by Gordon R .Dickson predicting life in the USA, post-economic collapse. It was similar in some ways to your books, as it predicted civilization reverting to a 19th-century standard of living, with horse-drawn carts, hand-made clothes, and so on. It was published in 1990. So some folks honestly believed the US was about to collapse, due to debt and other problems, roughly 35 years ago. Some believe it is about to happen today. I, respectfully, don’t believe it is at all easy to accurately predict when, how, or even precisely why our economy will crash. I do, strongly, believe that it won’t happen next week/next month/next year. But of course, you may be right, and I may be wrong. Please keep up the great work on your blog.

          • tresho March 15, 2024 at 2:57 pm #

Of course it isn’t easy to predict an evitable disaster, it always has been that way. recall that 91 years ago this month FDR was inaugurated. That same week not a single US bank was open for business. No one was able to get their hands on more cash than they had in their pockets or laying around the house. Bills still needed to be paid, but the means were unavailable. Somehow the USA adapted & survived that crisis. One illegal method of survival for smaller units of government was for them to print their own currency, with the promise that the counterfeit money could later be redeemed for actual US currency. For the most part those promises were kept.

Well, I don’t know what you think collapse looks like, but the sky has been falling for quite some time now. A new half ton pick up truck now costs a minimum of 40K. Please go tell a working man that’s fine, just honky dorie. Then tell him his rent, electrical, food, medical costs, paying tons more for EVERYTHING, is just fine too. Not to mention the crazy, diseased social ills all around us. The process of collapse is here, and we’re living it RIGHT NOW. The big black swans may be just around the corner, maybe that’s what you’re waiting for. Me, I’m just grateful it’s not MAD MAX yet……..

I agree with what you are saying, for the most part. But, again, I have been hearing that “the big black swans may be right around the corner” for many years, but the Black Swan events either 1) haven’t happened, or 2) haven’t changed anything. I fully, 100 percent expect that next week this blog will say the exact same thing it did today, and last week, and in the months before that. It will again say that the Collapse is about to happen. . .but it never does happen, of course.

        • Cankerpuss March 15, 2024 at 10:49 am #

Actually, Dilbert, I tend to agree with you and I have voiced my frustrations on this in previous comments. I’m of the impression, contrary to our host, that we are living through a gradual dismantling of the United States, the last entity that stands in the way of a communist one world order. They are patient. They have already waited decades, they can wait a few more years.

I have stated this before but I see our current situation as if I am stuck in the middle of a road. I see a large Mack truck barreling down on me. I know it is going to hit me. I prepare for the impact knowing it is going to hurt or may even kill me. But, that Mack truck never comes. It honks its horn and lets me know it is there but it never comes. So I just stand there, paralyzed, not knowing what to do, waiting for the inevitable. Instead of a fast collision what I think it going to happen is that truck is going to inch toward me and slowly just push me down and crush me under its massive weight.

That’s the way I see things happening. Slow, deliberate, ruthless and intentional.

Thank You. I am glad to see that others share my viewpoint. I very much like Kuntsler, and really enjoyed reading his World Made By Hand series. It was very realistic, and frightening. Yes, death by a thousand cuts. Not oh boy, the stuff is about to hit the fan, like next week–no. Saying that week after week, year after year gets old. Rather, as you said, we are seeing the gradual disintegration of the US, its economy, its government, its schools, its health care system, and its society. Not all at once, but gradually, day by day. I think Trump put things on hold for four years, and then the US headed downward again after he was forced out of office. If he somehow gets re-elected–and given the widespread cheating and corruption in US voting, that is a pretty big if–if he does, he might pause the decline for another four years, but that’s all he will accomplish. Long term, the US and Europe are toast.

          • Cankerpuss March 15, 2024 at 11:14 am #

            Dilbert,

Trump has always been, in my opinion, a symptom of a very sick society. He’s not the cure. Trump spent more money and increased the Federal Debt more than Obama, Bush and Clinton. I enjoy listening to Trump expose the fraud and corruption but his actions demonstrate that he is not a true conservative, has no interest in a sound currency and has no desire to reduce the size of government.

We are witnessing the end of an epoch, the epoch of fiat money. It could still take another century to eventually collapse but it will happen. It always happens. No empire has existed forever. They have all collapsed. It too Rome 400 years to finally collapse.

The one thing that gives me hope is that after the empires collapse people still manage to carry one. There are still Romans in Rome. There are still Persians in Persia. There are still Russians in the Russia. There are still Spaniards in Spain. There are still vikings in Norway. Humans will persist once the empire has destroyed itself.

I wish that humans would evolve enough to cast off the lust for power and wealth and learn from the countless failures of the past.

I won’t be here to see it, but that is my hope.

          • Jarek March 15, 2024 at 12:37 pm #

Norway will be majority Muslims before the end of the century unless trends discontinue. And even if they do, the blood is tainted and it will never be the same.

As many Muslims happily remark, Walking through Malmo is like walking through Baghdad.

            @Cankerpuss:

“the United States, the last entity that stands in the way of a communist one world order.”

I would say not the U.S., but Russia, is the last big power resisting the Gates/Soros/WEF crowd. Russia LAUGHS at the “you vill eat ze bugs” agenda, and at the “solar and wind will save us” fairy-tale, and at the “boys can be girls and girls can be boys” lunacy, the last being rightly labeled by Putin as “pure Satanism.”

Russia rebuilds her beautiful churches, prohibits “gay pride” parades, and outlaws gender-reassignment surgery. Russia, the FORMER communist country, now has some of the LOWEST property taxes and income taxes in the world.

As many recent American emigres to Russia have observed, Russian cities today are much like American cities were in the 1950s.

Russia went through communist hell for 70 years, and learned her lesson. She’s not going back. But the U.S.? Looks like WE are resolutely determined to have to learn the hard way. As Putin has said more than once, why is the West so stubbornly repeating the Bolsheviks’ mistakes, so stubbornly refusing to learn from Russia’s own 20th-century tragedies?

(Mind you, he said that back when he still cared about the West. Thanks to our bullheaded, vicious war on Russia the last few years, I think he is now past the point of giving a damn about what we do to ourselves.)

          • Socrates-Detroit March 15, 2024 at 2:32 pm #

            @Cankerpuss

We have the paradox that INSIDE the US, in many ways, the US Constitution, and many (though not enough) Americans stand in the way of totalitarianism in the US. Though we’ve lost many of our rights, which continue to be eroded daily, here and there, we still have more freedom of speech, and are among the nations where we can legally own firearms.

But OUTSIDE the US, the US government, and military, are the primary enforcement mechanisms for a monolothic one-world government.

All these “patriots who serve”, who tend to be conservative (like you and I) are janissaries for an evil regime. Remember that.

In order for the US government to do contol or influence world events, they have have to milk the US taxpayer to obtain the resources for that big military, and those big government budgets.

The globalists need the US to be the world cop UNTIL another entity is found that can replace the US military’s “global reach, global power” and the US dollar-denominated trade system.

Today, there is no other entity that can. To me, it’s an open question whether CHINA could replace the US. Maybe, maybe not.

China is beholden to a considerable extent to the US-dollar and the international bankers. I think the Chinese are working on extricating themselves. Maybe. Maybe not.

If/when they succeed, and I believe they will, are they going to then do the bidding of overwhelmingly white (european stock), disproportionately Jewish international bankers?

Or, are they going to say, “you know, WE can do this, and WE want to control events going forward, like the international bankers, starting with the Rothschilds, Cecil Rhodes, JP Morgan, and others, have done for centuries”.

The Rothschilds bankrolled BOTH side of the European wars of the 18th and 19th centuries. International bankers CARRIED the floundering Communists in the USSR (the “other’ side). Big money was KEY in creating today’s powerful China (the “other” side). Perhaps the Chinese can jettison big money and replace it? Maybe not.

But don’t kid yourself, the US government is ultimately evil.

And the mask has been coming off–mRNA killer shots, the treatment of January 6 protesters, “lawfare” against Trump, compromising our election process. All right in front of us.

            I’m with @Heartlander.

RUSSIA is the one power standing against Globalism. Good for Russia! I hope they can keep it up!

“but it never does happen, of course.” Yet another prediction of a future, not even as reliable as the ones you have dismissed up to now.

      • Cactus Girl March 15, 2024 at 2:20 pm #

@Jimpa: Yup. Here’s a good example: I live in a very small apartment. No air conditioning, no dishwasher, no washer/dryer. The only major appliance is the fridge, which is small. I have steam heat, so I don’t pay for that, or for hot water.

My electric bill has been around $30/month for years. This year, it shot up. All that inexpensive, green energy, I guess. Every month, it goes up $10, even tho I’m not using any extra juice. My last bill was $62. WTF? And now, Gruesom is pushing a bill to add an extra “wealth” tax onto the electric bill. It has nothing to do with how much you use, but goes on your income. It starts at $20/month. You know what the starting income is? $28,000/year. $28,000/year will pay your rent here, on a 1 bedroom apt., and nothing else. Are they kidding me?

Sucks for living in Kali, eh? It’s also getting that way in VT and just about every other blue, progressive hell hole.

We have in-laws in San Mateo, but they are doing OK because of state pension. The rest of you poor shlubs are paying for their $15K cruises. They don’t go out too much because it’s become too dangerous on the local transit or even Uber.

They are starting to sound a bit distressed…

          • Cactus Girl March 18, 2024 at 1:38 pm #

Well, it has its charms. At least I won’t freeze to death when they shut off the heat, or I end up in the street. I grew up in NYC, in the 70’s, back when it was popularly known as “Fear City”. At 16, I was riding the subway down to the Bowery to see The Ramones at CBGB’s, coming home in the wee hours. So this is bupkis to me.

    • Cankerpuss March 15, 2024 at 10:41 am #

      Dilbert…..$35 trillion.

Think about that for a second. How does that get paid back? Even with a Government that wanted to pull their heads out of their asses and fix it, how does that get paid back? In our situation, our government doesn’t want to remove their heads from their rear ends and propose even more spending. The American people could not care less. This debt, this living on counterfeiting money, it can’t last forever. I don’t know when all of JHK’s predictions will finally come to fruition but it is coming.

      • cowbell81 March 15, 2024 at 10:50 am #

Maybe they’ll get that WWIII off and running in no time, and then have good old fashioned war bond drives and scrap metal collections like the old days. That will pay off that $35t in no time flat, right? Bwahahaha……

      • dilbert113 March 15, 2024 at 11:13 am #

I agree 100 percent that the US is creating worthless paper currency, that this can’t last forever, and it will eventually cause some sort of crisis. I disagree 100 percent that such a crisis is likely to happen next week. Honestly–and this is said with respect–there were people saying the US was on the verge of collapse 35 years ago. When you say “I don’t know when all of JHK’s predictions will finally come to fruition but it is coming”, you and I are in perfect agreement. Saying every week that it’s about to crash next week is not wise, though. I think 5-10Y is more likely, and that the crash will be preceded by some big, obvious Black Swan Events, like another major terrorist attack, a Secession Crisis, or even a big volcano going off. Something that knocks our wobbly economic/government/power grid system off the tightrope it is on, so it comes crashing down to earth.

        • Cankerpuss March 15, 2024 at 11:19 am #

Amen, bruddah. I completely agree with you.

        • JohnAZ March 15, 2024 at 12:10 pm #

No Dilbert, it may not happen next week. JHK is a prophet trying to get folks to realize what is coming and to do something about it. Like everything else, deniers like yourself just allow the bad guys to keep hopping away at our foundations.

You are a businessman? You increase costs of your product by just passing it down to the bottom line? That will bankrupt you eventually as the folks buying your product are not keeping up and will eventually stop buying stuff. You just charge more for higher priced inventory? Good, as the phony value increases, you can slide right up the income scales and pay more of your money to the government. THAT is why the Feds love inflation.

Another indicator that things are indeed worsening month to month is the burgeoning homeless situation. Just wait until the Feds cut off the millions of illegals, NOT undocumented. The tent cities are going to explode.

Look around, the USA has not a single positive thing going on today, nothing. The Deep State has manufactured the mess we are in. They allegiance is to a phony globalist doctrine and not to the people of the US. When the SHTF. They will be long gone, only to find out that if the USA goes down, the rest of the world will also.

Use the political tool, are we better or worse off than 30 years ago? Income inequality is worsening with homeless folks being a real problem. Job quality and quantity declines constantly. Folks quality of life is declining as they spend more time working trying to survive. Gen Z is pissed as they find out how limited their access to the American dream is. Look at what housing is being built today, apartments not homes. We are starting to look like the USSR in the 60s. You have to be blind to not notice the decline in the American standard of living, Gen Z certainly is noticing it.

Maybe not next week, but a crisis is definitely brewing internally to the USA as folks are becoming less tolerant to the bullshit the Deep State is pulling over our eyes.

Watch Texas and Florida, then the election.

By the way, how would a 32 hour work week for the same salary affect your business, as being pushed by Sanders?

          • dilbert113 March 15, 2024 at 12:22 pm #

Bernie Sanders is an idiot. I work for myself, and se my own hours, some weeks I work 20 hours or less, other weeks I may work 50 hours or more. It just depends. IMHO, the government has no business telling anyone what a “work-week” should look like, and whether employees should be required to work 40 hours a week, 30 hours a week, 50 or whatever. Ultimately, for what I do, as long as the folks earn the same paycheck and can afford my services, I don’t care at all how many hours a week they work, or what Sanders or anyone else in government has to say about it.

          • tresho March 15, 2024 at 3:05 pm #

“Look around, the USA has not a single positive thing going on today, nothing.” Let me take a quick inventory: I’m drinking a hot cup of coffee, made possible by the fact my local electric grid is still functioning, in a house heated by natural gas, which is still coming through the pipes. My internet connection is still working along with my cell phone network. I call those “positive things”. As always your opinion or viewpoint will vary from mine.

What’s different from even three years ago (let alone 35 years ago) is the 9 million or so new illegal immigrants. And the vast majority — up to 90 percent of them — coming over the border right now, are MILITARY-AGE MEN, mostly from countries hostile to us, including CHINA.

That’s not even to mention the Hezbollah sleeper cells that have been here for many years, patiently waiting for the signal from their leaders in Iran. Waiting, waiting….

I’m with Dilbert on this. $35 trillion…..big deal. This sucker should have gone down many years ago. Specially in 2007. But it did not. Who’s to say it can’t go to $70 trillion, or even $200 trillion and still motor on. Of course it’s never going to be paid back. At this point does it matter? There is only so much prepping you can do. Here’s some truth: life goes on. There’s still plenty of fun and enjoyable activities to look forward to. I hit the ski slopes over a dozen times this winter, it was a blast.

          Mr jones

They have the power of monetary creation.

They do not care about the debt. They will just create more money.

What we see is our costs of living increasing by 5% a year, or more, which leads to higher demands for salary increases, which leads to higher costs of living, which leads to—-

          The economic snowball.

You like to ski? How are those lift tickets doing? How many days skiing are you losing each decade to the ravages of inflation.

Back in the day when I used to “hit the ski slopes” I didn’t need no steenkin lift tickets. I got to the top of the slope on foot, and let gravity pull me back down on my skis or even by “hitting” the slope when I lost my balance. Only got frostbitten once.

When does the road fall off a cliff? Nafta and the huge sucking sound? I still have a brand new Perot sign in the barn. I think Ill put it out this fall.. I’m pretty sure if I was $250k in debt, let alone a trillion, someone would come knocking at my door looking to collect. Personal bankruptcy would have to be filed. This will eventually come back to bite TPTB fast and hard. Is China going to come and collect on this debt? Who knows! Hopefully I’ll live long enough to see how this all plays out.

Even if I quit making the payments, no one will come knocking at my door. I just might get some nasty letters, however.

According to Metaxas on one of his recent podcasts, it was a matter of weeks. Like a chain of dominoes collapsing.

“Are you feeling more confident that the US military can competently defend our country?”

The most lethal weapon in Vietnam was the US military rifle. It killed more Americans than enemy hostile action because…it did not work and was never corrected. There is no aspect of America that has not been rendered lethally dysfunctional by Democrat Socialism and its $(USD) trillion/year criminalities.

How did the fall of Saigon go? We barely got out. How die the fall of Afghanistan go? Americans and cooperative locals were abandoned and slaughtered. $90 billion of military matériel was abandoned intact. fJoeBiden, Bidenomics, the torture and assassination of America, and the treasonous comfort of our fattening enemies.

Yes Uncle AI. I believe those same $90 billions of weapons were shipped to terrorists all over the Mideast.

One of the [barely-credible] Vietnam stories I have read in several places is that grunts would customarily take Kalashnikovs off dead VC and then somehow “lose” their M-16s.

I simply doubt it because I can’t see any commanding officer allowing that sort of improvisation.

      But what do I know.

TikTok has done everything they can to promote Anti-Semism with the Palestinian protests. There are points on both sides of the argument.

As Osama Bin Ladin said, It is to laugh. Do White Americans never think at all outside of their careers or fantasy football?

          • RD3 March 15, 2024 at 7:56 pm #

“Do White Americans never think at all outside of their careers or fantasy football?”

They used to, but every time they did, the elites sent in the National Guard. Things that aren’t done eventually aren’t said, and then in the final stage, are no longer thought.

When the Marxists led the Nubian dimwit proxy warriors through the streets of every town in the US, white citizens showed up ready to knock them down. The feds brought in the National Guard. Guess where the guard pointed their guns? Not at the rascals who had no business blocking the streets in a town they didn’t live in. No, the guns were pointed at the white citizens. This persisted, north and south, even up into the late 80’s in placed like Boston.

So, to answer your question, white Americans are not permitted to care about anything other than superfluous distraction and vice.

          • Jarek March 16, 2024 at 1:25 pm #

Yes, when Black rioters approached a White neighborhood in old Detroit, the Whites came en masse with hammers and shovels and beat them back. We had social capital back then. Back even these valiant people fled when the city government went Black. They realized they would never have any justice in the courts, and the police would be on the Black side.

Similarly, the Nazis trounced the antifa in old Germany. After 13 years, 25,000 casualties and 300 deaths, they triumphed. But the central government was weak, that is not the case here in the United States, at least not yet.

      • Beryl of Oyl March 15, 2024 at 10:41 am #

We won’t know, because they are getting top secret briefings.

Speaking of Hamas, I was one of the people questioning why no one was concerned about their leadership, who weren’t even bothering to hide.

I have been saying all along that somebody wants this war to keep going, just as they wanted the war in Ukraine to keep going.

I wondered about the real reasons for that pier thing too, it seemed like Joe was counting on the war continuing because he announced plans for that thing in his SOTU, and NPR told us the military or whomever were “scrambling” to bring it about, which tells me the plans were already in place.

My intuition told me the pier wasn’t about ham sangwidges, and I found an article at Front Page Magazine by Daniel Greenfield, titled Biden’s ‘Trojan Pier’ for Gaza, and he’s thinking along similar lines:

“Six Americans are still being held hostage by Hamas, and Biden has sent no troops to help them, but at the State of the Union address, he promised to send troops to build a pier for Gaza.

The estimated over 1,000 troops will spend as long as 2 months laboring to build a floating pier in a war zone under potential attack to help transfer aid to the Hamas supporters living in Gaza.

Nothing about this plan makes sense.”

He says “It’s not about delivering aid, it’s about giving the terrorists a gateway to the world.”

I alo found out that, according to The Times of Israel, Qatar was talking about kicking out Hamas leadership early on:

“Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani proposed expeling Hamas’s leaders from Doha during a meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken days after the terror group’s October 7 onslaught, two officials familiar with the matter told The Times of Israel on Wednesday.

The proposal was made in somewhat of a roundabout way during the emir’s opening remarks at an October 13 closed-door meeting in Doha with Blinken. Thani began by expressing his horror over Hamas’s attack in which some 1,200 people in Israel were slaughtered and another 253 were abducted into Gaza. He then asked whether it was time for the US to ask Qatar to expel the Hamas’s leaders, the two officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity.”

This country wants everything to keep going for now.

Oh and Chuckie wants regime change in Israel.

The Israeli air force admitted that in the first hours they fired indiscriminately at the fleeing cars

Photos from above make it clear that a few paragliders with kalishnikovs could not possibly have inflicted the type of damage at the “rave.”

And survivors of the settlement attacks have repeatedly said in interviews that Israeli tanks fired on the houses they were staying in & were responsible for the killing.

The survivors have testified & are furious at their government’s non-response.

There is plenty of evidence out there. You just have to open your eyes to see it.

loose, I agree. That’s what I have been trying to draw attention to with my questions and comments on Israel v. Hamas that the whole thing appears to be a CIA operation.

You know why the questions aren’t being asked, let alone answered?

Because every time the topic is broached, people change the subject to which side is right, and start showing off their impressive depth of knowledge about Jewry, Palestine, and the like, which they probably learned on Tik Tok.

          Beryl,

Thanks for all the info. Everything about the Israel-Gaza mess absolutely mystifies me. I long ago gave up trying to figure it out. The only things I do know for sure are that our media do not tell us the whole truth about anything; that in their choices of what to cover and what not to, they are always pushing particular narratives; that they are essentially controlled by the CIA; and that the CIA is one of the most destructive, untrustworthy entities on the face of the earth. Therefore, I cannot trust anything I see or hear from our media. So, unfortunately, it is impossible for me to know what the fuck is actually going on.

          • tresho March 15, 2024 at 3:22 pm #

“it is impossible for me to know what the fuck is actually going on.” One thing I am pretty sure of, is that in Gaza bullets, bombs, rockets etc. are flying, buildings are burning and collapsing and people are getting killed.

          • Uncle Abraham March 15, 2024 at 3:34 pm #

You seem to believe the Scriptures, Heartlander. It’s all there. Ismael and Isaac. The sacrifice of the Passover Lamb – denied by Muhammad, who usurped the position of Christ. He infects his followers with envy and murderous hatred – these are not rational forces.

          • mary.m March 15, 2024 at 5:43 pm #

Abe is partly right. It’s in the old testament, primarily Deuteronomy & Joshua. The same God that told his chosen “Thou shalt not kill” turned around & ordered them to slaughter neighbors, cousins, brothers. To steal their property. And to give Him the stolen gold.

Jews hate Jesus. I’ve seen videos of the Orthodox Jews literally spit on Christians as they pass them in the street.

Moslems believe Jesus (Issa) is a great Prophet. I recently read that they believe God saids different prophets to different people, which I find particularly interesting because I had reached that same conclusion on my own just a few weeks ago.

I also had, in recent months, lamented that I would never know what to believe in the Bible because the translations were filled with errors. The answer dropped in my lap a couple weeks ago, when I learned of a translation direct from the original Aramaic, which was the lingua franca of the place at that time. The translation is from 1933 by an Assyrian Christian who grew up in one of the small, isolated areas that had continued their original language & culture. Their copies are direct & carefully proofed with no changes. Plus he understands the idiom, something the Greeks & subsequent translators did not.

            My co

          • mary.m March 15, 2024 at 5:47 pm #

            Oops .

My copy of the Assyrian Bible translated to English by a native speaker of the original Aramaic, who’s advanced education was in the US) arrived 2 days ago.

I’m halfway through St Matthew now. I”ve seen text I never heard of before.

Some corrections are innocuous. Some fundamentally change meanings. Sometimes the speaker & spoken to are reversed.

If they want to get food to starving rightful owners of the land, they could just tell the fake settlers to get the F out of the way. But if you want to set up a deportation operation to clear out Gaza, then a pier makes perfect sense.

Conservatives hate Tik Tok because its Communist Chinese owners are using it to data mine information on American citizens, often using naive youthful users as a conduit.

Leftists see getting rid of Tik Tok legislatively as a precedent to control or destroy any platform that threatens the regime.

Conservatives would happy if Tik Tok were sold to American interests and its ties and algorithms benefitting Communist China were terminated. Leftists would never go along with that because Tik Tok’s ties to Communist China is not why they want Tik Tok gone–they want Americans to allow the Democrat regime to tell Americans what is “best for them.”

      • JohnAZ March 15, 2024 at 12:25 pm #

            @JohnAZ

I believe to a some extent it does depend on the woman seeing how there have been women throughout history who have fought in wars, taken lives and killed. Their numbers are very small and low but they have existed. Vietnam had a few women that were involved in the fighting. On a massive scale, yes they would protest against this. They rather sit on Onlyfans making millions off desperate male idiots

        • tuco22 March 15, 2024 at 2:36 pm #

You underestimate the power of indoctrination, Jarek. As I commented earlier, with democrats, ideology trumps reality. How many Biden-voting women would absolutely “celebrate” the equality of their sisters and daughters getting blown up in Ukraine or elsewhere?

Look how many of them have been convinced that killing their kids via abortion is actually “reproductive health care.”

          • Jarek March 16, 2024 at 1:47 pm #

Women love the power of words. They hate having to face actual consequences. Many women are on record freaking about the idea of having to actually go and fight.

And when faced with their previous words, women will often deny ever saying them, since they turned out to be ridiculous.

A few would proudly go, yes. Or be proud of those that did. Ideology is first and foremost a weapon against others, but some do really believe. Some White parents keep their kids in mostly Black schools and berate them when they come home with bruises. What did you say, you little racist?

About 20 years ago I had what you might call an in law apartment built into my place; many relatives have taken advantage of it. Sometimes it worked out, othertimes it didn’t.

During the 80s, I took in a few people. It never worked out.

My kids have also come home at times, when they were down and out.
That was OK. I was used to them and their ways.

          • Jarek March 15, 2024 at 12:59 pm #

Yes, we’re too individuated. As Orlov said, In Russia it had to work out, so it did. Everyone is “family”. The definition of a nation compared to your random assortments of riff raff.

          • JohnAZ March 15, 2024 at 1:58 pm #

Paula, look back to the early 1900s. A lot of the population lived in boarding house, large homes that rented room for income. Children stayed at home until adults because getting started was more difficult. Remember Ma Bailey in “It’s a Wonderful Life”.

We are heading that way right now. Have you noticed the apartments being built by the millions currently? Construction is a Ponzi scheme and most of the builders will go poof down the road. The rents being charged are ludicrous and will by themselves destroy the apartment life.

Boarding houses, young people? Coming soon to a neighborhood near you.

    • Rowdypiglet March 15, 2024 at 1:14 pm #

@Beryl, I’m going to guess what you’re saying is that “it” is beginning to take down those who are physically weak, sick, old, and/or economically vulnerable. These may be family or extended family whose conditions suddenly alter drastically. Someone within those extended families will have to come forward to help, without which it’s quite possible that people who have lived a pretty blameless life – working, saving, buying only what they could reasonably afford – will require immediate help, without which they will be literally living on the street. “It” is likely to continue nibbling away at the most exposed edges of our families, forcing difficult decisions.

There’s something good to be had, I think. Families with strong ties, and small communities that are still neighborly, will draw in their resources. There will be more relatives under a single roof, as there once was in my family at the end of the 19th century – when we all lived either together in a single house, or within a few doors of one another. Help of every kind was always at hand, and we pooled our resources to keep the entire family afloat. Those bonds will matter more than they have for quite a while, and it will probably be very difficult to survive without them.

      • Beryl of Oyl March 15, 2024 at 1:32 pm #

You’re a good guesser, Rowdy. This person thought they did everything “right”.

      • Heartlander March 15, 2024 at 1:51 pm #

I have two family members who are basically invalids though still living in their own homes. They both live in big cities hundreds of miles away from me. I have the blessing of having lived for several decades ln a small rural community in the heartland where everybody knows everybody else. The family members of whom I speak absolutely REFUSE to move out of their big cities to my much safer, much more socially peaceful rural community. I dread the day when I get the phone call that forces me to leave my beautiful, peaceful, relatively safe home and move to the big city.

        • Heartlander March 15, 2024 at 1:52 pm #

Oh, and my grown children live in the same state as I do, one of them even in the same community. I would be leaving them, too. AUGH!!!

          • Heartlander March 15, 2024 at 1:57 pm #

But a wise person told me that wherever I end up, that is where God must want me to be. So I should have peace, knowing that I am never out of His care, and that I am in His will. I do remember the Scripture that God will not give us more than we can bear, but will give us the grace to bear whatever He does require of us. I try to remind myself of this and just trust Him. One day at a time.

          • Rowdypiglet March 16, 2024 at 3:00 pm #

@Heartlander, if it’s any comfort to you, the phone call will most likely come begging you to remove the stubborn relatives to your safe place in the country. If you leave that place, you can provide help to no one else and will end by needing help yourself. Your stubborn relatives haven’t yet reached a point of actually being unable to continue as they are. When they do, it will be a different matter.

I just woke up and had to take a freezing cold shower because the hot water never came back on. I decided to read this article, and I’m not sure what to say about it…This seems like one of those Paul Craig Robert classics where he’ll write something up that’s depressing and then I’ll just stare at the article trying to think what’s going to happen next?

Nothing is going to change in this country is what I’m getting from this article. I guess during the Summer I might just stay with my cousin for awhile… It’s painful when your country is being deliberately destroyed and the people behind it can’t be fully removed. Thankfully I never could get into Super Hero movies because they truly remind me of just how crappy the real world is when there aren’t any super heroes putting an end to the reign of terror.

I didn’t become so blackpilled about stuff until 2020 but I was suspecting it all to go downhill after 2008. If the money is truly as worthless as everyone keep saying that it is…. Then I wonder what will it take to make everyone realize this? We obviously still use that money to buy food, pay bills with, we go to work and get paid for our labor even if it isn’t that much. I think at this point none of these people care how deep the burden is for them. Galvin Newsom is proof of this legacy as are all the others who have purposely destroyed all the major important states.

I don’t believe that we are going to have a war next week…I try not to get all worked up over stuff but it’s hard…Sometimes reading these type of articles also remind me why I’ve always avoided the news for so many years. It’s because they never report anything that gives me any hope… You turn it on and see that someone was shot to shit on a public train, maybe a school shooter here or there, a woman getting raped or throat slit in the park and then dumped somewhere in a lake….After awhile you fall into a deep level of depression. Well, I’m going to have breakfast, and I hope everyone else here have a good day, morning, night whichever it is for you.

TruthSeeker, excellent comment. I feel the same way you do.

I remember when I was officially “black pilled.” It was an epiphany that hit me hard and threw me into a long funk. It was when I realized that the Republican Party pretty much does the same thing the Democrat Party does, only, they give lip service pretending to be the opposite.

It was then that I realized that there are no heroes. There is no Christ who will come back and save all of us. There are no magical sorcerers. No, there is nobody with the will or the ability to make things right. No leaders. No statesmen. No Generals or Admirals. Nobody. Nobody cares. Nobody gives a fuck. The only thing that matters anymore is “ME” and “MINE.” To hell with all of you.

Even more black pilled is the fact that these filthy people thrive, succeed and enjoy a lifestyle we working people will never understand and they do it all on fraud, deceit and lies.

      Yeah, I get you.

      • JohnAZ March 15, 2024 at 11:27 am #

The “war” IS getting closer and closer. Abbott started the “resistance” by saying “NO” to the Deep State. Haiti, the next exercise in the destroy America effort, will be vigorously opposed by Florida and DeSantis. I wonder what form of barrier he will use to stop the inflow.

Get it folks, Biden and the Mob IS trying to tear down Middle America in favor of all the poor folks around the world. The real problem is, do the poor of the world deserve it?

Nope!!!!! Even Jesus said, Share, not capitulation.

Why is the Mob doing it? To feather their own nests. Hunter Biden, with his dad, are in trouble because they got caught. There are tons of globalists in this country that do not give one whit about it or its people and are selling it down the river. It is 100% deliberate.

“There is no Christ who will come back and save all of us.”

By “Christ” was a referring to some kind of great Messiah or alien or something like that and I like what you said about saving our souls. As far as our bodies go? We are on our own. We made our beds and now we get to sleep in them.

Nukes won’t do anything but kill all life on earth. I don’t buy into that Jew BS since they are the ones who came up with all that madness in the holy bible to begin with. It’s fear monger at most. I honestly believe people cling on to religion because they live in fear. It’s easier to just admit the truth “I am scared, I am afraid.” Why tell yourself that some powerful being is going to come down and save the day when everyone gets blown to hell by nuclear weapons?

In church we are studying Revelation.

            Really weird.

I look at it though almost literally, with a lot of the descriptions fitting the end of times as a cosmic event, an asteroid collision perhaps. I wonder if God sent the T-Rexes warnings about Chixalaub.

I am personally having a real problem with Revelation. God of the OT was a really tough Father figure, ready to destroy folks that opposed Him. Jesus came as a mild mannered Son of God who preached Love and forgiveness. He died so that we would have grace in God’s eyes and be forgiven of our sins by a benevolent God.

Now, Revelation shows up from the dreams of St.John with a vengeful Father God again ready to destroy 3/4 of the earth’s population because we are inherently evil creatures. I like Jesus’ God better, thank you.

          • TruthSeeker1986 March 15, 2024 at 2:46 pm #

            @JohnAZ

I was a child when I tried reading revelation, I had a hard time with reading comprehension but I still understood some of what I read. And I do recall being so terrified of the revelation part of the bible I couldn’t bother to read it anymore.

See when I was a kid, they tried to hide and keep all the scary stuff away from kids about the Bible. We use to go up stairs and they taught kids about GOD in a way that wasn’t terrifying or scary. But once you turned 13 years old you had to go down and sit with all the adults…

And not only was it boring, they tried to scare you constantly. Sometimes bringing up hell more than you would need to hear about it…Once was enough but beating that into you almost every Sunday is nerve racking and feels more like brainwashing than anything. I gave up on all that religious stuff soon as I found out Jewish people invented Christianity, Islam, and all those other Abrahamic religions. All of them with vengeful terrifying GODs… Plus all that stuff about sacrificing humans…That’s pure Satanism to me. Yet here is the Holy bible talking about GOD sacrificing his only son and having him crucified, killed…I can’t accept that kind of stuff.

            John and TruthSeeker.

I was raised evangelical, but as an adult found the Baghavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali much more human and pragmatic. I practice Kriya Yoga, a meditation practice which is discussed in Paramhansa Yogananda’s ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ Reincarnation is only an outlandish concept to the Abrahamic religions. But as Voltaire said, “It is no stranger to be born twice than it is to have been born once in the first place”.

          • mary.m March 15, 2024 at 7:30 pm #

I don’t cling to religion. I grew up in a materialist family, so materialist my mother’s Greek Orthodox congregation shunned her out. I don’t remember our even having a Bible in the house growing up. I think my father was an atheist, but don’t know for sure.

But I always was spiritual, believed in God. Not the Jewish murderous revenge God, who the Gnostic Christians think was what they call the Demiurge. But the Creator God. In my family, I was an outsider.

I have only been reading the Bible for the last few years, and that primarily the New Testament. Coming to it as an adult is a big advantage because I can see clear the discrepancies, contradictions & hypocrisy. Which is why I sought out a better translation & am currently reading one translated directly from the original Aramaic by an Assyrian Christian born & raised the Aramaic culture & language, with ESL.

I do, however, believe Eshoo (Jesus in Aramaic) lived & was at least a great Prophet. And his words speak to me.

What we see going on in the world is a confirmation that prophecy is no myth.

Events proceed with uncanny alignment to what we see in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Zechariah, Matthew 24, Luke 21, Revelation 13 and others.

The Beast kingdom is already here.
The image of the Beast has been created by mankind.
The second Beast will breathe life into the image.
          He is on his way.

The marvel of AI being what it is, can we not see what it is becoming? Look between the lines. The image has the power to cause to be killed those who will not follow the Beast. How can it possibly know the disposition of loyalty of the individual?

AI will know everything everyone ever said, read, watched, place they travelled to, daily movements, work habits, pleasure habits, personality type, etc.

We are at the threshold of the leader being revealed. The system of his rule is already in place. A primary instrument of his workings is likely complete.

That truth sets one free. We were given briefings ahead of the time. The promises are real. So is the hope.

Meanwhile, they’re getting older and more dependent on people around them who maybe don’t like them very much, or don’t agree with their politics. When they die, eternity awaits, because man was created to be eternal. What awaits them in eternity, with all the blood on their hands?

We war not against the flesh, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual wickedness in high places.

These are spirits. Aka, not human, and often not corporeal.

I live close to the CN border and this is the wimpiest winter I’ve ever experienced up here… No snowcover to speak of just now and we often have snowcover into April, after which we can expect a heavy spring runoff. We had a bit of a drought last summer and I can only imagine what might be ahead this year.

Very eerie and unnerving…. I find it much scarier than economic collapse. – Dane Wigington of GeoengineeringWatch states that the chemical crap they’re spraying is dehydrating the atmosphere and setting many areas up for catastrophic drought. And when it finally does rain or snow, thanks to the losers who make their ‘living’ by poisoning the planet, we also have to worry about toxic rainfall.

Disillusioned in what way? I don’t understand what you mean. I’m from California, life wasn’t that bad here in the 90s or early 2000s. I never voted for any of these people running the State. California is like New York. These are very important states that once had a lot to offer, and plenty to go around. All of these things were taken, raped out of the States. But I don’t consider myself to be disillusioned though.

” I grow nothing if the pumps at the local service district can no longer provide water to my hose spigot.” Situation is different in my garden. I second that. Excellent quote.

The US government has always stolen from the public and lied about it.

Those were little lies, such as saying “I wasn’t feeling well” instead of “I don’t like you and I don’t wish to see you” when blowing some one off.

Even so, now the lying is brazen and out of control.

A regime that poisons its own people (mRNA), and a “news media” that refuses to report on it.

A regime that instigated events on January 6, and then violated hundreds, thousands of people’s civil rights.

A regime that is aiding and abetting the killing and elimination of weak, stateless people, by enabling and suppling the Israeli slaughter and destruction of Gaza, while the government and media paper over the Israeli crimes and exaggerate or fabricate Palestinian offenses (which are trivial in comparison).

      Yep, good summary.

      • JohnAZ March 15, 2024 at 11:40 am #

        Exaggerate of fabricate Palestinian offenses?

What? You are right, that the impact of Hamas or Hezbollah or Houthis is trivial in quantity but definitely not in quality. To get the effect they want, like ISIS, they are ruthless and carry out atrocities to get publicity, even if it is negative. It is not Palestinians anyway, it is Hamas. That is not the same.

All the anti-Israel folks forget one thing. If Islam succeeds in destroying Israel, fighting will continue amongst themselves as it has for millennia. If Israel succeeds, there will be no more fighting.

Remember too that Hamas et al are not the real source of the problem. Iran is the culprit, fanning the flames continuously in the Middle East trying to shatter the USA-UK-SA consortium stabilizing the oils situation there.

That is the West’s number one enemy as well as Israel’s. It is also why the US will always support Israel,

        OIL.

If your directive was to protect the oil spigot in the Persian Gulf, how would you do it? Keeping Israel healthy and able to keep the vultures at bay would be high on my list.

        • Jarek March 15, 2024 at 1:07 pm #

No more fighting? That means genocide of the Palestinian people. They will never stop fighting. And if they kill them, they’ll have to genocide the rest of the Arabs. And then the other Muslims will come for them.

You’ve understood nothing. This whole thing guarantees the existence of Hamas for generations to come.

          • JohnAZ March 15, 2024 at 2:24 pm #

Who does not understand? You, Jarek.

Israel will not be destroyed. Yes, it is coming true that they realize that to exist they will have to destroy utterly the other side. It seems cruel to naive Western eyes but destruction of the enemy is the object of war today.

Israel has finally had it up to here with the bullshit from the Arabs, the Persians and us. They are going to when attacked destroy the attackers from now on. Call it genocide or whatever, they are done with putting up with the shit from outside.

Hamas will be driven into other lands or even here in the USA. The ability to launch rockets or tunnel around Gaza is about to be destroyed. Hamas will be eliminated and IF Israel agrees to keeping Gaza for the Arabs again, Israel will dictate what government will be installed. Number one, no connection to Iran.

Israel will never be defeated by any combination of Islam as they have the capability to destroy the Middle East’s Islamic centers right now.

If Israel succeeds in eliminating the Palestinians in Gaza (by expulsion or death), it won’t suffice.

Then the West Bank will be deemed to dangerous, and the Israelis will proceed to expel the Palestinians from there.

Israel has already stolen much of their land and water. That’s painted out of the MSM and CFN landscape. We don’t like inconvenient truths.

Ethnically cleansing Gaza (first) and the West Bank next is the Israeli game plan, even if JHK will never come out and connect the dots and say it.

That was clear, even to me, by Oct 17, 10 days in, from both the official statements of Netenyahu and other officials, and from the ferocity and violence visited upon the Palestinians, which was unprecedented–even by the standards of previous Israeli abuses (which were, and are painted out by the MSM and CFN).

            Let’s assume the Israelis succeed.

It probably won’t be enough. Then they will probably want Mesopotamia–because after all, that’s where Abraham started, right?

And they’ll want the Sinai, because Moses spent 40 years there leading the Jews out of Egypt.

They are insatiable people. That’s just how it is.

(In fairness to the Israelis, just like it wasn’t enough for the USSR to fall. The US government had to find new causes, new wars).

Not all of them–many rational and ethical Israelis speak out and disagree with what Israel is doing and HAS BEEN DOING to the Palestinians. But they are a small minority. They were ignored. Now, more of them are being harassed. Or even expelled. The government is trying to expel Knesset MP Ofer Kassif from the Knesset.

You make it sound like Israel are the good guys….Last time I checked it’s the world that’s had it up to here with Israel and their shit. And without the U.S. Israel can’t do anything. They can’t even fight their own damn wars. Instead they use OUR MILITARY, OUR MONEY, OUR WEAPONS. And if it wasn’t for us they wouldn’t even have nukes either. Don’t try to make it sound like the world owe these people shit, we don’t. It is Israel that owes the damn world for all the problems they’ve caused it. Starting with their bullshit banker wars.

As one who has followed Hindu spiritual practice since the late 1960s, the concept of samsara bumps up as more than likely here. Genocidal Nazis killed in combat are so [negatively] attached to their enemies – and particularly to the Jewish ones – that they are destined to reincarnate as one.

One minute (on a cosmic time-scale) you are SS-Obergruppenführer Theodor Eicke, shipping them off in cattle-cars to Dachau and BINGO, next thing you know you pass through the realm of darkness and attain rebirth as a patriotic Israeli.

Which allows you to continue the inhuman cruelty which you pursued in the previous incarnation.

Of course there is no “proof”. How can there be? But if you judge the Israeli authorities and military by their acts, it sure looks familiar.

‘Army Values’ appear to mean soldiers “living their best life” & applying for free Gender Reassignment Surgery” at Walter Reed Army Hospital. High ranking army officers who have already “made the transition”, insist they be addressed using pronouns in personal and official adress.

The sh#t will really hit the fan here when govts press the ‘Net 0 by 2030’ mandates and the shutdown of baseload power stations is complete. There will be an attempt to run cities like NY, LA and Chicago on ‘renewables — primarily wind turbines and solar panels — which will be a disaster. Brownouts, blackouts & chaos is likely to ensue.

How do you run a national military on renewables though? I can’t see this happening. There will be an exception made, much like John Kerry and his private jet setting. The military is the largest user (wasters) of fossil fuels.

Cowbell, you apparently missed the order Sec. Granholm issued two years ago mandating all military vehicles, including armor, transport, & artillery be converted to battery powered EVs. Why do you think the Marines abandoned its Tank Corps? How the army accomplished this is their problem to figure out.

      • tuco22 March 15, 2024 at 1:53 pm #

This military is scheduled to be destroyed on some future battlefield via a nuclear weapon. This is described in Zechariah, I think the 14th chapter. I believe the US military will become part of a larger coalition military that gets destroyed in this battle. Yet another reason not to join.

      • Anthea March 16, 2024 at 8:19 am #

Our military–along with everything else in this country–has been and continues to be destroyed. The destruction is deliberate. (I don’t see how you can come to any other conclusion.) EVs and net zero and all that fit in nicely.

The next question is why and by whom. Could be China, or it could be the globalists. Whichever it is, the motive for the destruction is a takeover.

        • Blackbird March 16, 2024 at 5:48 pm #

Where is the incentive to use less energy if your monthly rate is only $34 no matter what? Hell, keep the AC freezing all summer long, if you are in the mountains, keep that heat blasting all through winter. Keep all lights on throughout the house and garage all hours of day and night. Doesn’t matter how much utility you use, you only pay $34, what a bargain!

Governments push the net 0 by 2030????

BRH, not to worry, they cannot.

Why, because their populations will only take so much bullshit from them regarding the climate power grab and will fight back.

It is happening already, EVs are going into the dust bin, California is trying new ways to charge more for their energy because they are unable to afford the renewables they so unwisely instituted.

Bottom line, after the initial exhilaration, folks are figuring out the hard way that 0 by 2030 is impossible, not improbable, not possible, impossible. Nations are already moving out targets, a political stop gap. It is a joke, and a real demonstration of the wisdom of people and the markets and the stupidity of the socialist planners.

I disagree. When the global powers take over the USA, it will be internal. The history will be maintained, the buildings left intact, socialism will just creep in on little cat’s feet.

Gen Z++ will not even realize what happened, the history books will be their only source of what America was.

2024 election will be the crisis point. Election of the Left will change the US in short order. A big enough victory by the right might right the ship some, but with the condition of the national demographics being what it is, it will be short lived.

          • Anthea March 16, 2024 at 9:02 am #

            @ JohnAZ:

I think what we’re seeing–and what has long been in progress–is somewhat parallel to what happened to the USSR. That is, the US is being asset-stripped, sold off to oligarchs by its own government officials. Socialism helps pave the way in this process in that, if everything is government owned, it is the government that can sell it (with government officials acting as intermediaries–and getting a cut). But an equally important part of this process is that the nation be completely demoralized, so that there is no will or economic or military power to resist.

Everything at every level is being dismantled: the economy, the military, the rule of law, the culture, and all social and cultural values/norms.

The question is, to whom, exactly, is the US being sold off? China? The globalists? Both?

Karl Denninger made an interesting, kind of “aside” comment about China in a recent article: “China is an adversary, and a dangerous one. We damn well ought to revoke MFN status and hit them with wage, environmental parity and currency parity tariffs (so they cannot play debt-based games to evade the other two) such that it makes no sense to try to arbitrage labor and environmental damage for US concerns. Of course everyone who currently is abusing Americans via that, and who donate heavily to political campaigns, would scream — but we must do it before China decides to do it the other way and we find ourselves in a situation where they choose to take some territory and we have no choice but to let them.

“If we do not cut this crap out that day is coming and when it arrives it will be ruinously bad for the US.”

Karl is, as usual, not as clear in his writing as one could wish. I.e., apparently China has the option to take US territory, perhaps in exchange for our debt–or at least our government would be happy to settle up with them in that way (with 10% for various “big guys”).

What will eventually happen in DC will most likely match what happened to the glorious buildings of ancient Rome. Those which were not destroyed in rioting or warfare were recycled to make other buildings. Some building were buried in rubble and new ones erected over that fill dirt. This may happen in 50 years or it may take 50,000 years, I don’t know which. At least those who survived the collapse of Rome didn’t worry about radioactivity.

Video exists from last week showing a Gangster, armed with an M-4 and a machete, lop off the arm of some poor casualty lying on the street and begin roasting it over a burning tire, presumably to feast on it, cannibal style. These do-gooders, from Sweden, and the US, might be ‘Making a difference’ by providing the natives with a Change of diet.– white meat instead of dark meat. Does it seem far fetched to expect something similar this summer in Chicago in the neighborhoods surrounding the DNC? Hopefully, your headspace is not too aligned with that kind of thinking. Speaking of which…

” ‘Give me the man and I will give you the case against him’ …also translated as ‘give me the man, and I will find the crime’… or ‘show me the man and I’ll show you the crime’ is a saying that was popularized in Poland in the period of the People’s Republic of Poland, attributed to the Stalinist-era Soviet jurist Andrey Vyshinsky, or the Soviet secret police chief Lavrentiy Beria. It refers to the miscarriage of justice in the form of the abuse of power by the jurists, who can find the defendant guilty of ‘something’ if they so desire. The saying is related specifically to the concept of the presumption of guilt.” ~ Wikipedia

          • The Man They Call Zazelle March 16, 2024 at 6:22 pm #

I planted some garlic– first time ever– last fall in my garden plot and am curious to know what happens. This is because I planted two sets at different times, the second set being when it was quite cold out. A total of about 20 garlic cloves in all. If nothing happens/grows, I’ll probably have to plant earlier next time.

I’ve never tried fiddleheads, though there were ferns all over the place near my former residence. I do like poke, though, but it isn’t ready till later.

      • The Man They Call Zazelle March 16, 2024 at 6:16 pm #

Not all ferns apparently, so I’d be careful. Also, it appears that even the standard fiddleheads need to be cleaned properly or something like that.

But as always when foraging, forage carefully, responsibly (let the plants grow/live, don’t uproot them completely if you can or pluck off all of a plant’s edibles, don’t pick too many in the area, encourage their growth, maybe even plant some found seeds, and so forth. IOW, ‘forage for future foraging’.

Anyway, I quite like fiddleheads myself. Crickets? Who knows…

Socialists always deny truth and reality because Socialism itself is based on a total lie–that Robbing Peter to pay Paul can work indefinitely. Peter inevitably figures out that it’s easier to be Paul, and whole Socialist mess implodes. So, Socialists have to use dictatorship to squash the truth and promote the lies. Which is exactly where America is headed if the Democrat scum win one more national election.

Even in repressive Socialist dictatorship, though, the truth eventually seeps out. History may repeat itself in America. People ask what finally brought down the old Soviet Union and East Germany. One of the main forces in the Soviet and German regimes was a largely unremarked machine developed in the capitalist West–the photocopy machine. Just as freedom blossomed in the years after the invention of the printing press centuries before, the copy machine made it very difficult for the dictatorship to hide the truth from being distributed, even in the repression of the Soviet Union and East Germany. To reframe an old saying, “How do you keep them down in the commune once they’ve seen the shopping mall?”

The whole force of the Socialist/Fascist/Communist Democrat scum regime since Obama has been to quash free speech by all means possible, and replace it with propaganda. That was working pretty well for awhile, but that pesky ol’ internet has a way of allowing the truth to seep out and there is not much that the regime can really do about it. To the extent that they try to silence the regime’s opponents on the internet, they also compromise their own ability to propagandize.

The reality is that the Swamp is doing everything possible to suppress “disinformation” on the internet, not because they wish to protect the public from lies, but because they want to deprive the public of the truth.

Yes, freedom is messy. In a free country, there can be porn on the internet. Better that than having the government use censorship to hide knowledge of the death camps from the citizenry. Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, and Communist China have gone down that road. The Democrat scum want us to go down that same road, and for the same reasons.

I never comment online anymore, but I am making an exception to tell you that this article touched me very deeply. It reminded me that inside all beings is a primal need to connect and help one another. To prop each other up. We must continue to find ways to do so, no matter how small, despite the overwhelming pressures that divide us. To not do so is to deny our humanity. After all, what is the definition of humanity but a “compassionate, sympathetic, or generous behavior or disposition.” Thank you, HJK!

There is a town named after a TV show called “Truth OR Consequences”.

    “Army Values”
The Army lists their values on the Army dot mil slash values web page.
” In short, the Seven Core Army Values listed below are what being a Soldier is all about.

    LOYALTY
Bear true faith and allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, the Army, your unit and other Soldiers. Bearing true faith and allegiance is a matter of believing in and devoting yourself to something or someone. A loyal Soldier is one who supports the leadership and stands up for fellow Soldiers. By wearing the uniform of the U.S. Army you are expressing your loyalty. And by doing your share, you show your loyalty to your unit.

    DUTY
Fulfill your obligations. Doing your duty means more than carrying out your assigned tasks. Duty means being able to accomplish tasks as part of a team. The work of the U.S. Army is a complex combination of missions, tasks and responsibilities — all in constant motion. Our work entails building one assignment onto another. You fulfill your obligations as a part of your unit every time you resist the temptation to take “shortcuts” that might undermine the integrity of the final product.

    RESPECT
Treat people as they should be treated. In the Soldier’s Code, we pledge to “treat others with dignity and respect while expecting others to do the same.” Respect is what allows us to appreciate the best in other people. Respect is trusting that all people have done their jobs and fulfilled their duty. And self-respect is a vital ingredient with the Army value of respect, which results from knowing you have put forth your best effort. The Army is one team and each of us has something to contribute.

    SELFLESS SERVICE
Put the welfare of the nation, the Army and your subordinates before your own. Selfless service is larger than just one person. In serving your country, you are doing your duty loyally without thought of recognition or gain. The basic building block of selfless service is the commitment of each team member to go a little further, endure a little longer, and look a little closer to see how he or she can add to the effort.

    HONOR
Live up to Army values. The nation’s highest military award is The Medal of Honor. This award goes to Soldiers who make honor a matter of daily living — Soldiers who develop the habit of being honorable, and solidify that habit with every value choice they make. Honor is a matter of carrying out, acting, and living the values of respect, duty, loyalty, selfless service, integrity and personal courage in everything you do.

    INTEGRITY
Do what’s right, legally and morally. Integrity is a quality you develop by adhering to moral principles. It requires that you do and say nothing that deceives others. As your integrity grows, so does the trust others place in you. The more choices you make based on integrity, the more this highly prized value will affect your relationships with family and friends, and, finally, the fundamental acceptance of yourself.

    PERSONAL COURAGE
Face fear, danger or adversity (physical or moral). Personal courage has long been associated with our Army. With physical courage, it is a matter of enduring physical duress and at times risking personal safety. Facing moral fear or adversity may be a long, slow process of continuing forward on the right path, especially if taking those actions is not popular with others. You can build your personal courage by daily standing up for and acting upon the things that you know are honorable.”

“… the manipulation of language is being used deliberately to turn our country inside-out and upside-down.”
Yes most of the problems Mr. Kunstler describes have some kind of fraud involved in their causality. Prosecuting all forms of fraud more diligently and harshly would eventually help our country.

“…with the estimated nine-million others ushered in by the government’s welcome wagon.”
I’ve been reading statements like “There are an estimated 10 million illegal aliens in the country and that number is growing every year.” since the 1990s. How can the number be stable for decades? Or even years?

    • JohnAZ March 15, 2024 at 1:08 pm #

      This sounds lovely.

If the shitheads in the Deep State were held up for evaluation against this statement, less than 2% would measure up.

He kept his word, signing the bill, They lied and reneged on their promise immediately.

Sanctuary states still have an abundance of comfortable accommodations available to house millions of illegal immigrants. Schools and colleges will be perfect for this purpose because they have many rooms, dormitories, toilets, cafeterias and gyms with shower facilities. Add a laundromat to each converted school and our millions of newcomers will be very happy living in the USA.

The millions of displaced students can stay home and attend Zoom classes if the still want to try to be educated. Most of these displaced students have already rehearsed for this isolation during the the COVID roleout which began in 2020. The problem of housing millions of undocumented immigrants will then be totally resolved!

I know you’re aware of the idiots in Boston, but even you would be disgusted with hearing the lack of knowledge of brainwashed, otherwise nice people here. I was at our clubhouse last night playing at my weekly poker game. I can see only one person who’s reasonable enough to be set straight, but she has no one besides me to help her on the right path.

One other player who I like very much is infected with a very bad case of TDS, and wishes him dead (the way things are going, he way get his wish). The rest of the others are not interested in what’s happening. If I let it, it would drive me crazy. But I won’t let it.

A public school district in my state was handing out free laptops to kids a few years ago. The principal was caught recording video and audio of the the kids through the laptops. Public school teachers tend to graduate near the bottom of their classes from shitty, state schools. Then, they spend their time leaching off the taxpayers while they fill the brains of your children with state propaganda. Very often, far more often than priests, they abuse your children. Your child is better off illiterate and uneducated than setting a foot in a government school.

I am a product of the “shitty state school”
The girls weren’t pretty, my clothes weren’t cool,
The Prof’s weren’t famous, but they weren’t fools,
Just got an education, and played by the rules.

Tuition almost free, paid by the State,
There were Frats and parties, but I did not relate,
Just stayed in my hovel, studied till late,
          Matriculated 64, Class of 68

After graduation, grad school for me,
Nights and part time, still almost free,
Cruised right through, and when almost done,
Said “Screw this shit”, and moved to Oregon

I have no regrets, I have no sense of shame,
Cause my school had “State “appended to it’s name
Just a sense of gratitude, debt unpaid to this date, ,
For the six years I spent at San Jose State….

They are back. There are herds in PA, KY, WV, AR, MI, MO, NC, VA, and WI. Might be a few more states by now..

I put in for a tag in Kentucky last year. Didn’t get it, but I might try again.

The southern tier of NY could support a large elk herd. Not sure why they haven’t reintroduced them there yet..

The PA herd has been self-sustaining since the early 1900’s. Elk only really disappeared from PA for about 30 years. I think the Kentucky population has been around for quite a while, as well.

Believe it or not Buffalo once roamed as far east as West Virginia. Spanish soldiers wandered around in that area in the mid 16th century and spotted Buffalo (bison) herds. They knew what they were as they’d seen them before in NTexas.

There’s a small bison herd in eastern Ukraine; I wonder if it’s being harmed by the war? In the early 20th century, after American Bison had been nearly wiped out, European Buffalo were brought from Ukraine & Yugoslavia in attempts to restore our native herds.

There’s a bird outside the window apparently getting a head start in nest building.

One of the nests fell down last fall.

It made me think of this:

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one [a]cubit to his [b]stature?

28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not [c]arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Actually it first made me think, “poo-tee-weet?” and how whatever else happens, they will still be doing what they are doing.

Jim, I’ve always loved your articles. I was planning to attend your book signing in Albany, but I got sick. I will order your new book ‘Crazyland’. I just don’t know yet from which site.

Everything eventually can come to pass when you keep on harping on the same subject (and I mean this in a positive way because harping usually is considered negatively). It takes courage to withstand the criticism of those who complain about your timing of coming events. Eventually you will be proven correct, whether it’s next week or next year or even later. At least, you are doing a public service by continuing to discuss breakdowns.

I for one despise our current situation. It’s very sad to see the way things are going, but I’m a stubborn SOB and plan on keeping on keeping on.

“Korea is now a loaded & cocked shotgun against our fat dumb & happy gut…” It has been like that since at least 1950. Only the level of violence changes from month to month. Somewhere I read that North Korea has a vast number of buried artillery, all aimed at Seoul. Those tunnels were created long ago by digging which started much farther to the north. At the signal, the remaining dirt will be pushed away allowing the guns to fire en masse. Seoul would not last more than a few hours. No soldiers need cross the line to accomplish that.

4014, an EMP would be a surprise attack/event. A CME would be detected several hours ahead after a solar event and would provide lead time to shutdown critical infrastructure. Taking large transformers offline would only take a short while. Even a surprise EMP from a bad actor would not be so delirious as conjectured. Shorter electrical circuits would not be fried. The doomsters are over stating the effects of an EMP electromagnetic pulse. Car electronics and most other circuits would be fine.

“A financial crack-up is probably the only thing short of all-out war that will get the public’s attention at this point. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it happened next week.”

The financial crack-up is guaranteed, but, as always, timing is uncertain. I think it will mean the death-knell of the res publica in fact although like the SPQR of Rome the “Republic” will trundle on for years yet.

We will be fortunate indeed if we get a Napoleon or an Augustus, i.e. someone with an eye on the realities of preserving civilization, but the shit show in Venezuela is looking more and more threatening to me.

Social Security will hit a brick wall in something like 10 years (probably less) when payouts, by law, can only come from current receipts. If we have not had a crack-up by then, that ought to do it.

The chances of the Congress doing something before we hit the wall are Slim and None. I’m pretty sure Slim left town on a Greyhound.

If you mean by that that they will come up with some (possibly extralegal) subterfuge to continue some payments, I have no doubt that they will. There will be an effect of the subterfuge/lawbreaking though that will reverberate through what is left of financial markets.

The democrats will welcome an opportunity to make us into even more of a welfare state via payments to their clients as well as an opportunity to soak the “rich” via tax increases and means testing for both Social Security and Medicare. When it gets to a serious financial problem there will be strong support for that from the young and the indigent.

From 1935 to 1983 Social Security was a pay-as-you-go system and it worked quite well.
The parents of the Baby Boomers managed to pay for the pensions of the previous generation AND raise a bunch of babies.

But the Evil Reagan came in and announced that those babies would break the system when they retired, so they had to prepay their retirement, for the first time.

The “trust fund” was supposed to be for the baby boomers only.

The majority of people in this country were born after 1980.

But the propaganda machine has managed to convince people that going back to the system that worked for 50 years can’t work now.

        SMDH over here.

    “Consequences Minus Truth”

There was a long-running popular game show named, ‘Truth or Consequences’. Participants had to answer a trivia question (purposely designed so they would not get the right answer) and so they had to endure ‘consequences’ of some kind of personal game-show embarrassment.

Well guess what!? Our leadership class in United States Incorporated (and the World at large) – and our own personal lives – have turned into a never-ending episode of ‘Truth or Consequences 21st Century Version!’

Our society has countless problems and questions that no one seems to have a good answer for… and so we Americans are having to endure the stone-cold serious consequences of inept and purchased leaders making bad choices for dark agendas and We the People allowing ourselves to be driven straight into the ditch. And getting our daily Pie in the Face.

Another point to be made about Truth or Consequences is that in our ‘modern life’ today nobody wants either of those things. We don’t value Truth enough (or at all)… and Consequences are just for suckers and White Males (those not in the leadership class) today who are an unprotected social class without a country or a prayer against a noxious World now fully drowning in a Sea of Terminal Wokeness.

Dark forces are erasing and criminalizing anything resembling Truth… and They never, never, ever suffer any Consequences for creating the confused and toxic and degraded and fallen and bankrupt and contentious society of ours.

‘Truth or Consequences’ was a lighthearted, fun show. Today’s version of Truth or Consequences is dark and ugly and perverse.

Ralph Edwards – the original host of Truth or Consequences – died in 2005. And since 2005, our lives as Americans have been going straight to hell. Perhaps it was Edwards himself that was holding our Nation together. We don’t have the America now that we did in 2005 or most certainly 1950 when this show first aired on television.

Truth can be denied but not negated. And Consequences cannot be ultimately avoided as the Law of Karma teaches. Our Nation, our World, our own lives will feel the sting of being measured against Truth one day. And we will all suffer the Consequences of all our actions.

And that’s one not-so-lighthearted cosmic Game Show that will really be something to see.

“Do we have freedom of speech as set forth in the Constitution?”

Sure. The Internet will eventually ensure that “freedom of speech” will mean what it needs to mean. It may come to mean that the Voice of the Dune novels and movie becomes an accepted reality, and everybody learns to be very careful around certain people.

But don’t worry, the precious phrase “freedom of speech” will remain. Whether the utility of saying that phrase becomes close to the utility of uttering a prayer remains to be seen.

“The problem, of course, is this is not a reality-optional world…”

Taken this truth, I continue to search for theoretical frameworks (political/economic/cultural) that do give a reasonably accurate, yet obviously simplified, explanation of our overall reality.

A largely political framework that has impressed me is one now being formulated, in detail, by Mike Benz (who held the cyber portfolio at the State Dept. under Trump) and who has recently been interviewed on the Tucker Carlson network and on the Russell Brand show, among other outlets.

He argues that free speech on the internet was an instrument of statecraft almost from the outset of the privatization of the internet in 1991.

His key causal mechanism for what is happening domestically in the United States is that we may now be in the early stages of a multi-stage color revolution (led by our intelligence community) that will try to deny Donald Trump the presidency.

He maintains that our nation’s relatively recent switch from a society/regime endorsing internet freedom to a society/regime endorsing internet censorship occurred primarily because our National Security State, while initially supporting internet freedom in order to help them mobilize (through social media and cell phones–tweets for tanks) certain groups to overthrow particular regimes internationally (think, for example, the Arab Spring) quickly became disillusioned with this same architecture of free speech when major unexpected events, like Brexit, began to more regularly occur.

This Benz framework may be one significant step in helping us to understand more accurately our present political situation.

Your posts are those of a disillusioned person. Disillusioned with the current state of affairs in the USA, disillusioned with the insanity running California, disillusioned with the people allowing demographic manipulation of our populace to advance their programs, disillusioned with the way the US swaggers its way around the world.

You have seen the USA since the 1980s, right? I have seen it since the 1950s, along with a lot of the folks on the blog. Believe me, we have all been led down the bullshit road by the corrupt forces of the Deep State and we are mostly disillusioned by the DC goons.

Trust is the basis of every human relationship, it is step one of every relationship development.

It is simple too, when you say you are going to do something to or with someone, you move heaven and earth to fulfill your commitment. Ultimate trust is when you care more for someone else than yourself, one of Jesus’ prime messages.

So little of this in evidence today, everything is ME-ME-ME.

    Fiddleheads, Crickets & Spruce-Tip Cider

When I was young, I happened across a bottle of ‘spruce beer’, which was just a spruce-flavoured soft-drink, and it was delicious.

Since then, I have been unable to casually run into any more of it.

Since then, however, I have learned how to ferment assorted juices and sweetened liquids and from this process also comes natural carbonation, and very powerful carbonation.

So what I’ve decided to do is gather some fresh spring spruce tips this year (I have been wanting to do it for a couple of years), blend them with water and sugar and ferment and ‘charge’ it until it gets to that fizzy point, common with all carbonated beverages.

This happens quite quickly in the process, before the yeast has much time to make much alcohol, so the drink is more or less alcohol-free and so like a real soft drink. I suppose it wouldn’t hurt, though, to get the booze up a little bit.

“Historians of the future, stir-frying crickets and fiddleheads over their campfires…” ~ JHK

Over here, fiddleheads and crickets– both probably more delicious, perhaps especially together than the store stuff– come out in entirely different parts of the season. So unless your fiddleheads or crickets have been somehow preserved, probably best to look at other more seasonal pairings.

    • stelmosfire March 16, 2024 at 10:47 am #

Zaz, you can pickle crickets.. You can practically pickle anything. The acid in the vinegar keeps for years. My cider makes great vinegar. I’ve kept the mother for years now. She treats me well.

      • The Man They Call Zazelle March 16, 2024 at 5:14 pm #

Homemade vinegar’s on my to-learn list, but in the mean time, I have a couple of sugar washes for distillation that ended their ferment some months ago. I wonder if they could be used for pickling. I suppose they could be used for preservation, but unsure the quality or effect on the food I’d want to preserve in it.

        What do you think?

    • Blackbird March 16, 2024 at 6:28 pm #

The red squirrels (Tamiasciurus hudsonicus) here routinely clip the tips off the branches of the spruce trees around my house. I’ve been puzzling over this for some time. Maybe they want me to make spruce beer?

      • The Man They Call Zazelle March 17, 2024 at 12:34 am #

Clip the tips during the spring?

I suppose you could always ferment some and put a bowl of it outside and see what happens.

But spruce tips are edible of course and probably quite nutritious. I’ve tasted them and they’re reasonably tasty too. Kind of lemony-sprucy if recalled.

What else would you expect from people without honor, whose duty is to the Obama clan, the Deep State, the WEF, a duty to radically transform America and shape it according to the black clan’s vision. You can’t help but be moved by MacArthur’s speech, inspiring more than thrilling like Chris Matthews’ reaction to Obama:

‘I have to tell you, you know, it’s part of reporting this case, this election, the feeling most people get when they hear Barack Obama’s speech. My, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don’t have that too often.’ What a fool.

But many were fooled by Obama’s promise, not understanding the nature of its real meaning, the depth of his despicable goal. After the Trump victory, escalation of his plan was immediate.

Haitians are pouring into Florida, more than a hundred into Key Largo. In one boat somewhere the invaders had drugs, guns, night vision stuff, etc.

About a month ago I saw some video on Fox that showed a group of eight or nine illegals in a small craft landing in Laguna Beach, California!! They disappeared into the streets!

Even if Trump wins, the damage inflicted so far may be irreparable. The insult to those who have given their lives for the nation is immeasurable.

    General Douglas MacArthur

    Sylvanus Thayer Award Acceptance Address

delivered 12 May 1962, West Point, NY

‘General Westmoreland, General Grove, distinguished guests, and gentlemen of the Corps!

As I was leaving the hotel this morning, a doorman asked me, “Where are you bound for, General?” And when I replied, “West Point,” he remarked, “Beautiful place. Have you ever been there before?”

No human being could fail to be deeply moved by such a tribute as this [Thayer Award]. Coming from a profession I have served so long, and a people I have loved so well, it fills me with an emotion I cannot express. But this award is not intended primarily to honor a personality, but to symbolize a great moral code — the code of conduct and chivalry of those who guard this beloved land of culture and ancient descent. That is the animation of this medallion. For all eyes and for all time, it is an expression of the ethics of the American soldier. That I should be integrated in this way with so noble an ideal arouses a sense of pride and yet of humility which will be with me always.

Duty, Honor, Country: Those three hallowed words reverently dictate what you ought to be, what you can be, what you will be. They are your rallying points: to build courage when courage seems to fail; to regain faith when there seems to be little cause for faith; to create hope when hope becomes forlorn.

Unhappily, I possess neither that eloquence of diction, that poetry of imagination, nor that brilliance of metaphor to tell you all that they mean.

The unbelievers will say they are but words, but a slogan, but a flamboyant phrase. Every pedant, every demagogue, every cynic, every hypocrite, every troublemaker, and I am sorry to say, some others of an entirely different character, will try to downgrade them even to the extent of mockery and ridicule.

But these are some of the things they do: They build your basic character. They mold you for your future roles as the custodians of the nation’s defense. They make you strong enough to know when you are weak, and brave enough to face yourself when you are afraid. They teach you to be proud and unbending in honest failure, but humble and gentle in success; not to substitute words for actions, not to seek the path of comfort, but to face the stress and spur of difficulty and challenge; to learn to stand up in the storm but to have compassion on those who fall; to master yourself before you seek to master others; to have a heart that is clean, a goal that is high; to learn to laugh, yet never forget how to weep; to reach into the future yet never neglect the past; to be serious yet never to take yourself too seriously; to be modest so that you will remember the simplicity of true greatness, the open mind of true wisdom, the meekness of true strength.

They give you a temper of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions, a freshness of the deep springs of life, a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of an appetite for adventure over love of ease. They create in your heart the sense of wonder, the unfailing hope of what next, and the joy and inspiration of life. They teach you in this way to be an officer and a gentleman.

And what sort of soldiers are those you are to lead? Are they reliable? Are they brave? Are they capable of victory? Their story is known to all of you. It is the story of the American man-at-arms. My estimate of him was formed on the battlefield many, many years ago, and has never changed. I regarded him then as I regard him now — as one of the world’s noblest figures, not only as one of the finest military characters, but also as one of the most stainless. His name and fame are the birthright of every American citizen. In his youth and strength, his love and loyalty, he gave all that mortality can give.

He needs no eulogy from me or from any other man. He has written his own history and written it in red on his enemy’s breast. But when I think of his patience under adversity, of his courage under fire, and of his modesty in victory, I am filled with an emotion of admiration I cannot put into words. He belongs to history as furnishing one of the greatest examples of successful patriotism. He belongs to posterity as the instructor of future generations in the principles of liberty and freedom. He belongs to the present, to us, by his virtues and by his achievements. In 20 campaigns, on a hundred battlefields, around a thousand campfires, I have witnessed that enduring fortitude, that patriotic self-abnegation, and that invincible determination which have carved his statue in the hearts of his people. From one end of the world to the other he has drained deep the chalice of courage.

As I listened to those songs [from the glee club], in memory’s eye I could see those staggering columns of the First World War, bending under soggy packs, on many a weary march from dripping dusk to drizzling dawn, slogging ankle-deep through the mire of shell-shocked roads, to form grimly for the attack, blue-lipped, covered with sludge and mud, chilled by the wind and rain, driving home to their objective, and for many, to the judgment seat of God.

I do not know the dignity of their birth, but I do know the glory of their death. They died unquestioning, uncomplaining, with faith in their hearts, and on their lips the hope that we would go on to victory. Always, for them: Duty, Honor, Country; always their blood and sweat and tears, as we sought the way and the light and the truth.

And 20 years after, on the other side of the globe, again the filth of murky foxholes, the stench of ghostly trenches, the slime of dripping dugouts; those boiling suns of relentless heat, those torrential rains of devastating storms; the loneliness and utter desolation of jungle trails; the bitterness of long separation from those they loved and cherished; the deadly pestilence of tropical disease; the horror of stricken areas of war; their resolute and determined defense, their swift and sure attack, their indomitable purpose, their complete and decisive victory — always victory. Always through the bloody haze of their last reverberating shot, the vision of gaunt, ghastly men reverently following your password of:

    Duty, Honor, Country.

The code which those words perpetuate embraces the highest moral laws and will stand the test of any ethics or philosophies ever promulgated for the uplift of mankind. Its requirements are for the things that are right, and its restraints are from the things that are wrong.

The soldier, above all other men, is required to practice the greatest act of religious training — sacrifice.

In battle and in the face of danger and death, he discloses those divine attributes which his Maker gave when he created man in his own image. No physical courage and no brute instinct can take the place of the Divine help which alone can sustain him.

However horrible the incidents of war may be, the soldier who is called upon to offer and to give his life for his country is the noblest development of mankind.

You now face a new world — a world of change. The thrust into outer space of the satellite, spheres, and missiles mark the beginning of another epoch in the long story of mankind. In the five or more billions of years the scientists tell us it has taken to form the earth, in the three or more billion years of development of the human race, there has never been a more abrupt or staggering evolution. We deal now not with things of this world alone, but with the illimitable distances and as yet unfathomed mysteries of the universe. We are reaching out for a new and boundless frontier.

We speak in strange terms: of harnessing the cosmic energy; of making winds and tides work for us; of creating unheard synthetic materials to supplement or even replace our old standard basics; to purify sea water for our drink; of mining ocean floors for new fields of wealth and food; of disease preventatives to expand life into the hundreds of years; of controlling the weather for a more equitable distribution of heat and cold, of rain and shine; of space ships to the moon; of the primary target in war, no longer limited to the armed forces of an enemy, but instead to include his civil populations; of ultimate conflict between a united human race and the sinister forces of some other planetary galaxy; of such dreams and fantasies as to make life the most exciting of all time.

And through all this welter of change and development, your mission remains fixed, determined, inviolable: it is to win our wars.

Everything else in your professional career is but corollary to this vital dedication. All other public purposes, all other public projects, all other public needs, great or small, will find others for their accomplishment. But you are the ones who are trained to fight. Yours is the profession of arms, the will to win, the sure knowledge that in war there is no substitute for victory; that if you lose, the nation will be destroyed; that the very obsession of your public service must be:

    Duty, Honor, Country.

Others will debate the controversial issues, national and international, which divide men’s minds; but serene, calm, aloof, you stand as the Nation’s war-guardian, as its lifeguard from the raging tides of international conflict, as its gladiator in the arena of battle. For a century and a half you have defended, guarded, and protected its hallowed traditions of liberty and freedom, of right and justice.

Let civilian voices argue the merits or demerits of our processes of government; whether our strength is being sapped by deficit financing, indulged in too long, by federal paternalism grown too mighty, by power groups grown too arrogant, by politics grown too corrupt, by crime grown too rampant, by morals grown too low, by taxes grown too high, by extremists grown too violent; whether our personal liberties are as thorough and complete as they should be. These great national problems are not for your professional participation or military solution. Your guidepost stands out like a ten-fold beacon in the night:

    Duty, Honor, Country.

You are the leaven which binds together the entire fabric of our national system of defense. From your ranks come the great captains who hold the nation’s destiny in their hands the moment the war tocsin sounds. The Long Gray Line has never failed us. Were you to do so, a million ghosts in olive drab, in brown khaki, in blue and gray, would rise from their white crosses thundering those magic words:

    Duty, Honor, Country.

This does not mean that you are war mongers.

On the contrary, the soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war.

But always in our ears ring the ominous words of Plato, that wisest of all philosophers: “Only the dead have seen the end of war.”

The shadows are lengthening for me. The twilight is here. My days of old have vanished, tone and tint. They have gone glimmering through the dreams of things that were. Their memory is one of wondrous beauty, watered by tears, and coaxed and caressed by the smiles of yesterday. I listen vainly, but with thirsty ears, for the witching melody of faint bugles blowing reveille, of far drums beating the long roll. In my dreams I hear again the crash of guns, the rattle of musketry, the strange, mournful mutter of the battlefield.

But in the evening of my memory, always I come back to West Point.

Always there echoes and re-echoes: Duty, Honor, Country.

Today marks my final roll call with you, but I want you to know that when I cross the river my last conscious thoughts will be of The Corps, and The Corps, and The Corps.

Patton wanted to finish the job, take out those Russkis. They wouldn’t give him the gas. Now look at them go down to defeat against mighty Russia. Those miserable fools. We could have had an AMERICAN PLANET. A McDonald’s in every town and village. They thought Capitalism would deliver it up to them. But Fascism has risen again in Russia, stronger than ever. And National Socialism, mightier still, in China.

What do I think? I think they deserved to lose and they have. Of course they could still knock the board over with nuclear war.

    • Jarek March 17, 2024 at 1:20 pm #

WW1? The good man were sacrificed to build the nascent New World Order. Ditto WW2. But the Lie was strong and the people content. It began to crumble during the Korean War and collapsed during Vietnam. Guys in rehab began to talk to each other: Why exactly did we lose our arms and legs? How did this serve America? What where we trying to do? And did we even really try to do it?

Grunts throw their lives away on command. Warriors do not or at least they should not. There is grey area here. It is possible to die nobly for a bad cause. American sailors reported the looks of ecstasy on the faces of the Kamikazi pilots just before impact. Japanese Allahu Akbar. A good death? There are far worse ones.

The State Zoo & Tigers In Zoos Are Less Violent

Doncha get it? Haiti is just one more USA debacle, the Deep State and MIC that is.” ~ JohnAZ

        Yup…

We actually have grown adults and sufficiently older no less, ostensibly suggesting that Haiti’s current ‘flux’, as a case study, is because ‘that’s what people will do if they’re not thrown in some kind of State zoo/cage‘, despite that it’s the State (& gunz) that’s had a large hand to play in this ‘flux’ on top of that.

It’s sort of along the lines of the tack, which I still maintain– it’s withstood the test of time so far– that I made some years back at Peak Oil Barrel when we were discussing Steven Pinker’s questionable notion of ‘less violence now’, with my main point being that throwing tigers in cages and then arguing how less violent they are as a result misses the whole point both of what violence is and can be and what it means to be a tiger.

By their position, we might as well turn nature/Earth into a glorified State park ‘for our security and safety’, and keep those anti-viral masks on and get our vaxxes when our so-called ‘leaders’ order it.

        • elysianfield March 16, 2024 at 9:24 pm #

“‘that’s what people will do if they’re not thrown in some kind of State zoo/cage‘”

          Zaz,
No, it is “That’s what a population will do without the threat of being thrown into some kind of State zoo/cage.

Explain the real time lab experiment that is today’s Haiti. Damn your eyes, explain it!

          • The Man They Call Zazelle March 17, 2024 at 12:41 am #

Only the State IS the zoo/cage. That’s part of my point. The threat is the embedded violence.

Humans, like tigers and other animals, don’t belong in cages. They don’t belong in Truman Shows.

Have you ever seen the film? The protagonist ultimately left the security of the Show for the insecurity of the wild.

Don’t feed the wild animals, ‘Field.

You do, and you get dependencies. Infantilizations.

            In adults.

Connect my dots there, all nicely lined up for you.

          • The Man They Call Zazelle March 17, 2024 at 1:08 am #

To add, Haiti might be, as you write, a ‘lab experiment’, but probably not the kind, in the way(s) and/or in the context(s), etc., you/we might think.

For one, and probably the main one, Haiti’s contexts include the rest of the planet that include/involve other States and actors of various sorts.

For example, I’m unsure Haiti has the resources– natural, human, technical, infrastructure, manufacturing, knowledge, etc.– required for the guns they’re apparently using to great fanfare ATM.

          • The Man They Call Zazelle March 17, 2024 at 1:13 am #

Haiti needs to somehow take itself out of your ‘lab’. Maybe that’s what they are trying to do, but then there’re the problems with the ‘experimenters’.

Maybe get rid of those too and let the dust settle awhile after.

          • elysianfield March 17, 2024 at 11:28 am #

More like ‘Free the prisoners!’, which is apparently what those in Haiti have done.

Some cages can be quite big. They can be Matrix-sized, Truman Show-sized, Plato’s Cave-sized, Haiti-sized, America-sized or Russia-sized.

Having been around caged humans, I would suggest that we can agree to disagree.” ~ elysianfield

A bit of a circular reasoning, though, if your State cages have created much of the conditions for your human cages.

Dictator Mom Nature will agree to disagree with that too and inevitably step in and collapse that situation.

Yes, but the breeds have certain common characteristics, both physical and psychological, thus the word “breed” or subrace. Do you think Greyhounds are as dangerous as Pitbulls? Neither do I. Neither does anyone except the crazies who think Pitbulls aren’t dangerous at all.

          And they are legion….

          • The Man They Call Zazelle March 17, 2024 at 12:53 am #

Unsure if or how artificial/manmade breeds fare in the wild, though, and if, over time, nature– the wild– sort of gets in there and makes some adjustments to your breeds there.

Part of my point here is that you seem to want to zooify/museumify– in your pet intellectual theory and not in practice of course– a particular ethnicity of human– your so-called ‘Whites’ with a capital W– outside of the contexts in which they came about and that have long gone.

You seem to want to freeze-frame them and decontextualize them from that universal fundamental, change.

I suggest that’s likely no good for them. No good for you, except maybe in some kind of useless online nattering ninny sort of way.

The thing is that, like shit, change happens.

And your ‘breeds’ disappear relatively as soon as they appear…

Bernie wants a 32 hour work week. With equivalent pay of course with benefits.

Easy peasy, as wealth is measured as labor hours, having the base being Weekly wage/32 instead of weekly wage/ 40 will inflate the dollar by that ratio, or about 20%. Powell will love that one, interest rates will skyrocket.

Great idea, Sanders. Better than UBI though.

    • Jarek March 16, 2024 at 2:29 pm #

That’s why we need price controls on necessities. Greed will only care a society so far, John. The referee has been napping for generations. Now he to wake up and do his job before everything is lost and these guys just abscond to other places with all of our wealth.

The Soviet Union did great things with a purely Command economy. A mixed economy would have served them even better. That’s what Russia has now – and it IS better than what we have. Ditto China.

      • JohnAZ March 16, 2024 at 3:42 pm #

Okay, Jarek. I o not know how long you have been around but I remember the price controls that Nixon instituted in reaction to the LBJ guns and butter inflation that peaked in the seventies. Meat, especially beef, was the number one target. He put price ceilings on the increasing price of beef. It worked, the price stayed down.

BUT, guess what else happened. Ranchers culled their herds as profits declined and costs kept going up. Pretty soon, The meat shelves emptied out, all of them, as substitutes were found. We lived in Rhode Island at the time and I remember horse meat being sold.

Price controls do not work unless every level of production and sale are frozen. Then Voila,

Communism, and we know how that ended up.

Nixon lost a big part of his own party when he installed price controls.

China and Russia do not pretend to care about gimmes, they just lose out. They do not pretend to care like the USA does then really do nothing to fix problems. Maybe that is why the gimmes all come here for the free ride. Then find out it really does not exist.

Only the free market fixes problems as people have to react to issues.

        • Jarek March 16, 2024 at 10:12 pm #

Yes, the market will recover. But many people never will. They can’t wait that long.

While the Irish were starving, a huge shipment of grain kept going back and forth across the Irish sea as per the whims of the Stock Exchange. The writer said, This may seem harsh, but you have to realize how important the market is.

I knew at that point that he wasn’t an Irish Catholic.

You forget that Europe has a long history of overpopulating when economic conditions are good, then erupting when a Potato fungus hits and the national staple in Ireland is destroyed.

America today celebrates what happened as a consequence, the Irish migration to the USA. When area become saturated and nature rebels, people need to move out, not wait for relief ships that never show up.

Unfortunately, it is the USA’s turn to learn this valuable lesson.

Just yesterday occurred to me an alternate accounting for why there remains international concert among governments in urging (or requiring) ongoing “boosters’ against Covid. Whether or not this plague escaped the lab or was diabolically set free is now moot, thereby forcing to the fore the question of why such uniformity of governments’ actions while on other issues there remains great discord?
Having recently viewed the movie “Oppenheimer” I’m caused to consider a similar plot line playing out not different from the apprehension surrounding detonation in 1945 of the first “experimental” nuclear bomb at Trinity Flats in New Mexico, the uncertainty being whether the chain reaction would have no bounds – continue ceaselessly until earth was left an ember.
Well,…..is there similar uncertainty about the play-out course of this bio-experiment now loosed upon the population, hence triggering harmony among governments in applying a yet-to-be-trialed-as-guaranteed-safe “jab”?
So looms the question, are governments in concert in attempting to maintain a skene of control, fearing otherwise that survival uncertainty would trigger social collapsing pandemonium?

To me, it’s pretty obvious that the bad guys in power, whoever they may be, are in the process of willfully destroying America. It’s just impossible that a well-meaning political coterie could randomly make such consistently poor decisions. I think that the public’s lack of understanding about this is what bothers me the most. It’s so true that we get the politicians we deserve. It’s sad that it’s come down to this.

    • BackRowHeckler March 16, 2024 at 2:37 pm #

I don’t think too many of the elected politicians are ‘bad guys’, Bill.

There seems to be an unelected, appointed, entrenched bureaucracy that has grown like cancer inside the govt. since 1945, including powerful lobbyists, calling the shots and running the show. The Blob, the Deep State, call it what you will.

      • beantownbill. March 16, 2024 at 6:18 pm #

Marlin, depends on the definition of ‘bad guy’. My definition of ‘bad guy’ includes those who bend to the will of those who act against the public welfare. If an individual politician is unaware of what that may be, then they shouldn’t be in politics. That might be idealistic on my part, but that’s the way I feel.

        • BackRowHeckler March 16, 2024 at 9:16 pm #

Well, at least the politicians are somewhat vetted, as they have to win an election to get into office.

  47. beantownbill. March 16, 2024 at 1:08 pm #

I refuse to participate in the wrecking of my country. Accordingly, I haven’t voted in 56 years. At least I’ll have a clear conscience when the shit comes down.

    • TruthSeeker1986 March 16, 2024 at 2:32 pm #

      @Beantownbill

Even if you did vote, you wouldn’t be responsible for it either way. After all we don’t get to choose who run the country at all. They present us with two options but they are always heavily flawed. They won’t even allow someone that’s actually good run. That only happens in countries where lobbyist don’t have control over their elections like ours. Trump had his own wealth, but I’m still sure that behind the scenes he have to kiss ass and do specific deeds to get elected at all.

    • Rowdypiglet March 16, 2024 at 3:14 pm #

@beantownbill, I respectfully offer another opinion. I understand why people don’t vote, but it seems to me that we have a duty to do what we can to make things better – even if “better” is barely distinguishable from worse. If making things marginally better, even briefly, is the only option available to us, what is to be gained by not taking it? Neither you nor I created the world we live in, and we operate within constraints put in place by others. My conscience is satisfied when I do the best I can.

I’ve mentioned here before that Trump did one thing in office that made a critical difference in my life, and my husband’s. Without that one thing, we may have been living in our car. I know for a fact that others were similarly affected, perhaps not huge numbers of people, but a substantial number. He may have been a disappointment in many ways, I wouldn’t argue over it, but surely that was worth a vote?

      • beantownbill. March 16, 2024 at 3:50 pm #

For you maybe, and I respect your decision, too. What I see is that things consistently get worse no matter who’s in office. When I look at a graph of our progress, I see we’re close to hitting rock bottom (in math terms, the y-axis is approaching zero). Sure, there may have been some progress from time to time because descent is not straight down, but to me, any progress is wiped out later. Example: Trump, then Biden.

All I want in our country is good decision making, but alas, bad actors won’t let us.

I don’t trust Trump. I know developers. To succeed as one, the developer has to be sharp. Trump was successful, yet he consistently picked the wrong team as president. Something’s off about that. And I don’t think it was inexperience.

BTW, I think you are one of the posters I like to read.

        • JohnAZ March 17, 2024 at 10:30 am #

          Bill

Trump’s biggest weakness is what the title of his book says,

          The Art of the Deal

The man honestly believes he has the answer to the world’s problems and he ca solve them by making deals with his enemies. He grossly underestimated the corruption of the Deep State in Run#1. He is talking tough talk right now, but until he removes the cancer in DC, he is a mild setback for the global bastards.

        • Rowdypiglet March 17, 2024 at 3:14 pm #

Thanks, @beantownbill, for the kind words. Of course, I don’t trust Trump either; I don’t trust any of them. And his most serious flaw is readily apparent: his ego. A big ego seems to preclude being a good judge of character.

I’m a natural optimist, so I suppose my continuing to vote is just an expression of my nature. Other than living my life as honorably as I can, there’s not much else I can do.

  48. BackRowHeckler March 16, 2024 at 2:27 pm #

The situation in Haiti is deteriorating by the day. Port au Prince’s central prison, now emptied out, has been set on fire. Not far away the city’s main hospital was attacked, overrun, looted — anything that can be stolen, has been stolen. The President resigned, and Field Marshall ‘Barbecue’ announced any remaining politicians in Haiti, and their families, will be hunted down and shot. President Biden promised a $330 million aid package, but how this would be delivered, and to whom, is not exactly clear (since no government exists)

    • Jarek March 16, 2024 at 2:37 pm #

What does he want? Spare ribs or absolute power?

There’s no need to worry: He’s a follower of MLK. As ani says, No killing!

      But God says, Yes, killing.

Krishna says, To those that don’t surrender to me willingly in life, I come as death.

November 7, 2018 – Upon observing the successful July 16th 1945 nuclear bomb test at Los Alamos, Oppenheimer said “If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the mighty one…Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds.”

God is the greatest warrior. The greatest killer. But it’s not murder or illicit killing. Everything God does is licit.

Barbecue wields an automatic rifle, which in some ways is more practical, personal, and more persuasive than any nuclear weapon. Barbecue’s power comes from the tropical sun, his M-4, bandoliers of ,223 ammo, and tires burning in the streets.

      @BackRowHeckler

Didn’t someone post this statement already before about this situation and in the same manner? And why didn’t the Kenyan soldiers go down there and take care of it already? Are they scared? How hard is it to show up in Haiti to remove a bunch of unorganized criminals and low life’s? Yes they have some U.S. weapons but that doesn’t mean they are an effective military force just because they have military weapons. Having weapons don’t mean dick. They can just as well get the same weapons and go down there and deal with it. It’s not like Kenya can’t borrow weapons of equal capabilities to put down a threat.

      • BackRowHeckler March 16, 2024 at 2:56 pm #

I don’t know how effective the Kenyan army would be either, TS. For starters 1000 Kenyans would be outnumbered 5-1. With no air support I doubt if they’d even get out of the hanger. 5000 locals armed with automatic rifles can do a lot of damage.

        • TruthSeeker1986 March 16, 2024 at 3:11 pm #

          @BackRowHeckler

True but they can just send in far more than 1000 men with those same weapons and even the odds.

So if we have 10,000 soldiers going there with similar firepower and well trained to handle the situation they can put a stop to that. Something is going to have to be done about the situation over there eventually. Because bringing all these piss poor people over here to our country when we have our own issues going on isn’t going to help. Sooner or later we’re going to have similar problems and then where will people be running off to? They need to put an end to that situation and sending in aid that will be stolen by the thugs themselves isn’t the answer.

          • Blackbird March 16, 2024 at 6:52 pm #

Truth, an attacking army (say the UN) needs a 2-to-1 or 3-to-1 advantage over the defending army (Haitian militia) to have even a chance of even odds.

You mention “well-trained”. Is the Kenyan army well-trained to handle this kind of situation? Almost certainly not. And why should they? It is not their problem. Because Haiti is black and Kenya is black? That makes as much sense as white USA intervening in white Ukraina.

The only country – other than Haiti – that has an interest in altering the situation in Haiti is the US. And that is only because we will suffer an invasion of Haitian “newcomers” thanks to the unrest in Haiti.

I don’t suggest that we intervene in Haiti. We have done that before and helped cause the situation Haiti is now faced with. We should simply defend our borders and prevent all illegal invaders from entering this country. But that is not what will happen.

Instead we will welcome the Haitian invaders, because we are a “kind and loving country”. We will be asked to provide housing – in our homes – for these invaders. And when they rob, rape, and kill, we will be called “rayciss!” for mentioning their origin.

Wanna die? Grab your guns, head to Florida, and defend our border.

Well, yesterday the State of Minnesota broadcast a clarion call to Haiti, the Congo, Liberia, Sudan, and every other squalid 3rd World sh#thole across planet earth: a bill to give illegals a guaranteed basic income has passed out of committee and onto the legislature for a vote. If the bill passes there do you think the governor will have any trouble signing it? Then the word will go out, and every turd eater from Port au Prince to Timbuktu will be on their boats making a beeline for Minneapolis, where they are giving away money no questions asked.

Doncha get it? Our government wants to destroy the country. Much of our 1% are building enclaves in other lands, such as New Zealand, because they know what is coming, in their lifetime. This country has put a giant “For Sale “ sign on our country and the world is reacting accordingly.

            FOR SALE, cheap.

Think what happens when the world finishes raping the resources of this country and finishes it off. Think BRICS++ and their production cuts so that the US has to increase its resource production,

    James O’Keefe, twitter

BREAKING INSIDE THE PENTAGON: Associate Director in the Office of the Secretary of Defense says, “Why not just have an open border?” “Tear down the wall.”

“I think we should repeal the Second Amendment and take the guns all away!” says Jason Beck, who has a classified security clearance and works for the Department of Defense. Beck, who uses a fake name Aiden Grey in his meetings with a disguised James O’Keefe, describes his extremist policies, including “mobilizing the national guard” to confiscate guns from people’s homes. Beck says he wants a “monopoly on state violence,” a concept he describes as “‘We {the government), are the only ones with guns.”

Jason Beck works in Total Force Requirements & Sourcing Policy in the Office of
    @SecDef
Lloyd Austin. This office oversees the
    @DeptofDefense
and acts as the principal defense policy maker and adviser to the President of the United States. Beck says he helps “writes answers for testimony” of “the department’s senior leadership – basically they go over to the Hill for hearings on the department’s posture.”

In this shocking footage we get an INSIDE look as Jason Beck tells James O’Keefe, “we need to pack the Supreme court,” ban the United States Senate, and abolish the electoral college. He also discusses his “bottom surgery’ being painful and the changes to his plumbing.

Jarek: Is this real? If so, so is Satan. We’ll end up with a Barbecue in charge sooner or later. We need the Great Man. Putin or one like him. Trump cannot save us from Barbecuing.

“Marianne’s editor Natacha Polony wrote: “It is no longer about Emmanuel Macron or his postures as a virile little leader. It is no longer even about France or its weakening by blind and irresponsible elites. It is a question of whether we will collectively agree to sleepwalk into war. A war that no one can claim will be controlled or contained. Someone is standing up to all the corrupt nonsense coming out of the U.S. At least the French understand that they would be wasting their resources and fighting a pointless war just because it makes the assholes in Washington DC dicks harden to get more people killed on their behalf.

Honestly we really need to clean house in America. At least some of these other nations are getting it after what they’ve been seeing over the past couple of months and even years!

What they are basically telling the fools running the U.S. is “Go F yourself, we’re not going to end up like Ukraine because of you and your childish irresponsible ignorance. GROW UP or get OUT if you can’t govern without endless wars!” This is also one way a lot of these countries can avoid WWIII, simply avoid getting involved with the dickless decisions they make in the U.S. they may get away with conning lower IQ nations into getting their boys killed on their behalf, but they can’t con the whole world again.

No I agree with you on that, but they are dumb and stupid to a degree.

          • JohnAZ March 17, 2024 at 1:54 am #

The people in charge are much more dangerous than being dumb and stupid.

They are devious enemies of what we think America should be. They want the Constitution destroyed in favor of a socialistic oligarchy.

Other words to describe? Fascist socialism. They really believe they are superior beings that need to run the decision making of the country. Bernie Sanders is number one, a professorial asshole who never ran a business or worked for a living in his life. Put Biden on that list too.

So what is happening? It is a Mob, just as much as any Irish, Black, Latino or Italian Mob in our history. The Deep State is a conglomeration of all the above and as such is much more dangerous than any of them.

Go see the Mob Museum in Vegas, it will put the fear of God in you about the power of these organizations.

Not totally stupid or dumb, but deadly.

          • TruthSeeker1986 March 17, 2024 at 3:19 am #

            @JohnAZ

I mean that they are stupid and dumb because they believe they are GODs. Let’s not forget that the Mob in Italy was wiped out and got their asses kicked. They are no longer a threat in Italy at least not like how they were before in the past. If the Mob in the past was still running things in Italy today, Georgina Molini would be dead for screwing over the country by flooding it with Africans like that.

They would tell her to get them out or else face execution especially if they were running around raping the women like some of them have been doing recently. They wouldn’t put up with that nor would they stand there and watch as Muslims and Africans try to overrun their country. But the Mob of the past no longer exist in Italy anymore. They’ve been heavily neutered compared to how dangerous they use to be.

Many criminal organizations that were once all powerful lost that power when law enforcement chose to crack down on them hard rather than keeping them around long enough to profit off their illicit activities like what we have going on here in America where crime is created on purpose.

You also have to wonder what drove the Haitian gangs to take over Haiti like they did, were they unhappy with the leadership there or did they just feel like being chaotic automatic wielding dicks striking fear into their people?…. Just imagine if Every gun owner in America did the same thing but instead of striking fear into citizens they strike it into the Elites.

I really don’t know why they want to confiscate people’s right to bare arms anyway….Americans aren’t going to take up arms against them no matter what they do to us. Every assassination attempt that ever occurred in this country was not done by someone with any good intent to save or rescue America. They were all given orders from the CIA or one of the deep state branches. Look at all the crap Obama and Biden have both done…. If Biden is ever assassinated it’ll be just an attempt to frame the right for it just like January 6 which wasn’t an insurrection at all, it was a front. If Biden does get taken out this year by someone it won’t be because someone hated him so much they decided to get him for the fate of saving the country. It will be someone from within his own clan that do it.

            Truthseeker

You are right about the Mobs being lower key than in the past, but not the cause.

Out illustrious governments have helped out sure but not by cracking down. Just about every activity of the Mobs have been legalized, gambling, prostitution, booze, cigarettes, LBTGQ+ activity, Even now the governments are being pushed to legalize drugs and yes slavery as the border remains open for both. When “comprehensive” citizenship is implemented by a second term Biden administration, you can believe that legalization of both will follow. They need their money to pay their debts.

I saw a You Tube that said that the ultimate winner of the global sweepstakes will not be any country, it will be the computer based information organization that will take over control. They may be the source of the seemingly chaotic activities in the world today, after all who controls the info input to the lemmings of the world.

Our media is just the beginning as Leftist trends are accelerating. Wait until this summer, you are going to see a horrific attack on all things MAGA by our info industry. Remember that the degree of info control you will see is contrived and planned by evil organizations tearing down this land.

In what way will they bring back Slavery? And will anyone even notice it? According to what you have wrote, it seems that we’re not going to make it. And many commenters here do not believe Trump is the cure either, he’s a symptom of the problem. I’m not a liberal or a Conservative. But I am against Leftism because they’ve made life WAY too damn hard…Harder than it’s ever been. On top of that they are purposely destroying everything and creating more poverty….. They also ruined entertainment, and killed off anything that use to be fun. They are easy as hell to hate.

What I do know is that if anyone who opposes them get eradicated. The only thing left will be Leftism….And I can’t live under their rule anymore, f them.

    Regarding State Vs. Ivy League Schools;

Q and Ely walk into a bar. After several drinks, Ely drinking draft beer, and Q drinking Mimosas (With umbrellas, of course), it was time to hit the bathroom. We bellied up to the urinals and began to pee. Ely finished first (of course, with the prostate of a 24 year old), zipped up, and began walking to the bar.

Chirped Q “You know, at Rutgers, we were taught to wash our hands after micturition.” Ely paused a thoughtful moment, and then said “Well, at San Jose State, they taught us not to piss on our hands….”

    • The Man They Call Zazelle March 17, 2024 at 1:33 am #

Meanwhile, back at the table, Zaz suggests, over his Long Island Ice Tea without the ice or umbrella that urine is a sterile liquid and, if anything, might even kill a few germs on contact. He also adds that he seems to recall hearing of a tribe or somesuch group that apparently used to bathe or rinse their children with animal (cow?) urine. After that setup, he then suggests that the two go back and piss on each other and leave the conversational subject to him upon their return. Because he’s drinkng after all WTF.

Zaz then pauses, looks around the place and then zeroes in on a couple of women who are dancing funny and decides to go over, introduce himself and show them his gay little teapot dance while trying to get them to join in. Since he can’t do it with his drink in hand, he asks one of the women to hold it for him. She takes a few sips without permission…

Ely Ruggers ain’t Ivy League. It’s a big State U. To find Ivy League you have to drive down the street a wee bit to Princeton. (where the first intercollegiate football game was played, Princeton-Ruggers 1869)

Last I heard from Princeton is a few years ago when the English Dept. banned classical western authors — Petrarch, Levy, Aristotle etc — for being “too White”, and “Eurocrntric” and replace the canon with 3rd World revolutionary authors from Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America. I never heard of any of them.

        @BackRowHeckler

Whats with all the white hate lately? And who the hell is even behind all of this? Seriously, it’s not like Blacks or whatever hijacked these institutions or whatever and decided to throw white people out on their ass. They don’t even have the power to do that. And why are they even propping up all these other people? There has to be some reason or point to all of this besides what Jarek was saying “It’s to humiliate us.” Humiliating you by simply replacing you with these other people? Why are they replacing you with them? What is the point in even using them? There have to be some explanation as to why we have all this white hate in the West and the whole purpose in using these other people as replacements. Surely it’s not because they actually LOVE them.

        • Jarek March 17, 2024 at 1:44 pm #

You reversed my model. Humiliate by replacing? No, replace by humiliating firstly. Secondly eliminate by replacing. That is the goal as per the Kalergi Plan.

What if you refuse to be humiliated or can’t be? But see, your group has been lowered in the eyes of others in any case. Then your resistance becomes reduced to comedy. That’s how it works.

Others who promised their best to try to be objective were deleted by the attorneys in the final pick. Some of the more primitive guys just said things like, I believe the little girl. Or I’m enraged. The lynching mentality. At least they admitted it and got sent home.

You are right: It is the scourge of our civilization.

Rob Reiner has a new film out “God & Country”. Apparently it’s a screed hammering White Christians; I wouldn’t expect anything less out of Holkywood. The gay NYC & LA film reviewers love it, but the public … not so much. On opening weekend it raked in a whopping $35,000, nationwide.

One of my favorite scenes in the Sound of Freedom is when Tim Ballard chokes the character known as “the Scorpion” out and kills him.

I can only imagine the years of rage built up in Ballard, as he hunted & captured pedophiles, only for these monsters to be enrolled in the US “injustice system” for very uncertain sentencing.

Ballard was exacting Justice with a capital J in the cosmic sense to the Scorpion.

A very satisfying scene indeed. Ballard showed much more personal constraint then myself. I would have had zero hesitation executing all those motherfuckers.

I don’t care about such shitty overly dramatic movies. They don’t do anything but prey on people’s rage just like mostly all revenge films do. In the end it’s just a movie. Not every pedophile is some weakling you can walk up on and easily kill just because you hate what they are doing, you have plenty of them who are part of violent drug Cartels and no one is ballsey enough to fuck with those guys no matter what they do. Just like no one is going into Haiti to fuck with those armed lunatics.

The movies just make all the BS shit look so easy. Part of the reason Rambo got ridiculous with the Fifth movie when it showed how angry he was the films went from being about a ex soldier to one that went full blown psychotic and the gore was cranked up real high. It’s honestly no different from those revenge films featuring men raping women and then women getting violent revenge on the rapist. Feminist get off on those kinds of movies and LOVE THEM. I say fuck em, I don’t like films preying on my emotions or trying to evoke rage out of me.

      • beantownbill. March 17, 2024 at 12:51 pm #

I know what you are saying, but remember, that’s the purpose of movies – to create emotions in the viewer. Rage is good publicity, unfortunately.

Here’s something I learned a long time ago: There’s only two real emotions – love and fear. All the other emotions are just forms of these 2. The basis of rage is just intense fear. You know that, I think.

Watching ‘Brigadoon’ right now, with Gene Kelly and Van Johnson..

Watching it, I can’t help but remember that the First Minister of Scotland is a Pakistani Muslim who stated Scotland has too many White Scots, and right now, at the Capital, he is going balls-in for Ramadam celebrations.

    @Marlin @stelmos:

I’m gonna try again. I’m going to Foxwoods on April 17-19. Are you guys available to meet on April 18th? I can meet with you somewhere on that day driving from Foxwoods, then back to Foxwoods. That way I won’t have to drive all the way home. I’ll leave my wife at the casino gambling. She shouldn’t meet with you anyway. If she did see you, it might wreck my marriage. Lol!

P.S. As usual, it’s all subject to me and my wife feeling ok. I’ve been having problems with a stiff neck and tomorrow I’m going to my primary care Dr. to get an ok for PT. Otherwise I feel all right. My wife, the cancer patient, is the one who’s been feeling great. If I still have a stiff neck, even though I may have some trouble turning around, all that means at worst, is that I might not be able to look at you both at the same time, which is a bonus. See, there’s always something good In something bad. Ha, Ha.

Survival & Resilience In The Throes Of Death

Your communities are not here in Virtualand, folks.

    They are where you are.

If there are none available because they’ve all been gutted and/or cookie-cuttered, etcetera, by the State/Deep State, forge them anew and unplug from ‘here’ and the State, so as to more effectively deal with what the State dishes out in its possible throes of death.

    Your comment is awaiting moderation.

I wonder if or how much of journalists’ articles, including new, non-legacy media outlets like Consortium News, help serve to somehow empower people, or if their articles more or less simply feed, for their own bottom-lines, off State transgressions and, from that, help instill a sense of fear, uncertainty, doubt, helplessness and powerlessness among the general populations and perhaps indirectly further State transgressions, in a kind of self-reinforcing loop.

Consortium News, we have to be honest with ourselves, even if it takes some bread off our table at the end of the day. Go grow a garden and join Transition Towns, permaculture ecovillages and whatnot. Or/And talk about them.

We know my previous comment about the spooks that didn’t make your moderators’ cut is still what nevertheless matters and what’s important in the bigger picture if we are to get anywhere and if CN are to eventually have almost nothing to write about anymore, at least where the State and its fundamental corruption & immorality is concerned.

The people at CN, if not CN itself, would also appear to do well to borrow from the pages of real anarchism (so, no, not the chaos kind) or at least reflect it more in their writings, unless it ultimately cares little for what it’s writing about, or at least about getting out of or around it.

“Six more years! Six more years!”

Putin won in a total landslide. He garnered 87.2% of the vote (which had a 74.2% turnout).

    • JohnAZ March 17, 2024 at 10:12 pm #

Okay. Let’s talk about our illustrious media calling out Russia for fixed elections and election protests. What were they protesting, that they have elections?

Putin is a national hero to the Russian people regardless of what the idiot West press says. He got 77% of the vote, I ask surprised it was that low. Russia does not have the degree of political assholeness that the US has.

The US by political design has a split personality with the opposition at extremes. It will eventually divide, it has no choice. Or just crumble away to nothingness.

Russia is on the ascent along with its BRICS++ brothers. The West is no longer the West, it is just about absorbed by the BRICS++ crowd.

Las Vegas would not even give odds on a West win.

Good for Putin, there is no other choice there.

BTW, all the conjecture on his killing all those folks? Is there any proof? Or is he getting the same bum’s rush that Trump is receiving from our illustrious press.

    A War On Homelessness

    youtu.be/lncLOEqc9Rw?si=MvlyQBqOLQbvsCRY

    • JohnAZ March 17, 2024 at 10:15 pm #

The only war on homelessness that will work is to stop trade with Asia and get those jobs back here in the States. Our damnable government has caused the homelessness and like the Vaxx will not sign up to their foolishness. Drown the Deep State.

      • The Man They Call Zazelle March 18, 2024 at 2:07 am #

Seems now kind of like a war on the ‘homed’ that may lead, in many cases, to more cases of homelessness, which might mean, I guess, the war will be winning or won.

Have you lost your shirt yet John? Bits of it maybe? Had to sell anything in the home yet to pay for anything more expensive?

  63. TruthSeeker1986 March 17, 2024 at 11:08 pm #

    @JohnAZ

About the slavery and human trafficking thing you mentioned a few comments up. You were saying that trafficking of people is earning the cartels more money than drugs. Is it because less people are even using drugs anymore? And is the GOV also benefiting off the trafficking? I’d look into this myself but I’d rather you tell it. You have a better more interesting way of explaining stuff and I like to read and listen when someone knowledgeable on a topic talks about it.

I want to know how is the government profiting from it. This whole entire situation has just gotten way out of hand…But when you have an inflow of people coming in in such large numbers all at once. Then yes that would make a lot of sense as to how the cartels are making so much money AND on top of the fact they aren’t being arrested or prosecuted for any of it either. The criminality nature of this country is so damn deep it’s hard to believe….

    • JohnAZ March 18, 2024 at 1:28 am #

      Truthseeker

Well, imagine if the recipients of the cartels profits and the people running the “real” government ARE THE SAME PEOPLE. We discuss the globalist tendency of the people in DC right now all the time. Take that to the next level, their bosses are the global powers that run the illicit trades, they set up the fentanyl connections between the Chinese, the Mexicans and MS13 in the States. They are the ones shipping in those poor people to the border.

Our government in power right now is right in the middle of it. Why do you think they are so powerful, why do you think they are so afraid of Trump.

He knows them, they know he knows them, hopefully he knows how to destroy them.

By the way, if they are shut down, it shuts down the IMF, the EU and our government fiscally as the liquidity supplied by the global cartels is what is allowing the global finances to continue.

Most of this comes from a book I read about four years ago that dammit I cannot remember the name or author.

      • TruthSeeker1986 March 18, 2024 at 2:40 am #

        @JohnAZ

But so many people have commented that Trump can’t really be trusted after he was taking credit for the death shot and even promoting/pushing it. Therefore how can anyone trust him to stop these monsters? Yes we know that people are not perfect, and we know people make mistakes all the time. Likewise, we definitely need this government gone and destroyed before they completely destroy us. I just wish we didn’t allow this stuff to continue or at least get as bad as it has gotten.

Plus I recall telling someone that a lot of people mention how Trump might get killed. And they responded “well this isn’t the 1960s anymore.” Referring to what happened with JFK. I then had to remind them how the assassination of JFK didn’t end with him. They tried to go after Nixon and Reagan both which was between the 1970s and the 1980s. After I gave him that brief history lesson that assassination attempts are still very possible and Trump being next in line to experience such a threat isn’t unlikely just because it hasn’t happened in a very long while….Just too bad no one ever got Obama. That POS would deserve it for what he’s done to this country.

          @JohnAZ

I’m not by any stretch a supporter of Trump, I just want to live in a country where I don’t have to be afraid of walking down the street or riding public transportation without fear or being surrounded by endless poverty and third world living conditions just because WEF is obsessed with playing GOD. I don’t know anything about Steve Jobs, but it’s just too bad that murderous prick Bill Gates outlived him.

Gold is up over 14.5% in the past six months (and 8.8% in just the past 30 days!).

It is whipsawing on an upward trajectory like nothing I’ve ever see before in the 30+ years that I’ve been closely monitoring Au.
