Cockamamie Story

All the narratives spun by the Party of Chaos are falling apart now, but this final fiasco, a mere week before the midterm election, is a humdinger with a cherry-on-top.

It’s been several days since San Francisco police interrupted a hammer fight between Paul Pelosi — husband of House Speaker Nancy — and his “friend… David,” in the Pelosis’ Pacific Heights home, and apparently the cops have not asked David DePape why he was there in the first place. Odd, a little bit. Is it possible that a whole chain of authorities from the SFPD clear up into the top of the US government and its Democratic Party sidekicks don’t want you to know what actually happened?

So far, not much in this cockamamie story adds up. Quite a bit is known now about the attacker, David DePape. He was a colorful character on the scene in radical Berkeley across the bay, a “nudist activist” and BLM supporter. He’d lived there and had a child with one Oxane “Gypsy” Taub, a fellow nude activist and whack-job, who has spent time in prison for child abduction. That partnership ended seven years ago and DePape has been homeless on and off since then. Acquaintances and Berkeley neighbors describe him as not mentally healthy, saying he exhibits psychotic delusions and is sometimes incoherent.

So far, police have not disclosed how DePape journeyed from Berkeley to Pacific Heights at 2:00 o’clock in the morning, about fourteen miles. Did he walk from Berkeley across the Bay Bridge and then halfway across town? Mr. DePape is apparently also known to the police as a gay hustler, that is, a person who sells sex for money. Unless I’m mistaken, the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) has a detective department — experienced men and women who go around the city seeking clues, evidence, and testimony in order to make sense of perplexing crimes — and then solve them! Shall we assume they are on-the-job?

Now, Paul Pelosi, 82, who made a $300-million fortune running a car service (also shrewd investments in real estate and the stock market), has been in quite a bit of trouble this year. On May 28, 2022, he was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) in Napa (near a vineyard estate he owns with Nancy) when his 2021 Porsche crashed into a 2014 Jeep driven by one “John Doe” (as the police identified him). KGO-TV, ABC’s affiliate in the San Francisco area, said that there was a second person in the Porsche with Pelosi at the time of the accident. He has never been identified.

In August, Mr. Pelosi was sentenced to five days in jail, a fine of roughly $7,000, a three-month drinking-and-driving course, eight hours of public service, and having an “interlock” device installed on his car that would require him to blow into an alcohol sensor before the engine can ignite. By any chance, were the Napa Police or the County Court contacted in the matter at some point by the US Capitol Police or the FBI? We may never know.

If David DePape didn’t walk fourteen miles from Berkeley to Pacific Heights, or take a cab (expensive), how did he get there? Here’s a theory: he rode the BART subway from Berkeley to the Church Street and Mission station in the city, a five-minute walk to the Castro, San Francisco’s fabled gay district. Sometime before 2:00 a.m. closing time, he met up in a bar there with Paul Pelosi, who drove DePape to the Pelosi house in a car not equipped with an interlock device. That is to say, David DePape was let into the house by Mr. Pelosi.

The police and the news media have theorized that DePape broke into the place by smashing a glass door in back. Uh-huh…. Ask yourself: would there not be an alarm system at least on all the ground floor windows and doors in the house? Would there not be security cameras on the back side of the house — the side that burglars might prefer, if they could get over the wall? Would the Speaker of the House, with a discretionary budget on top of a $300-million fortune, and in a time of epic political rancor, not have a team of security guards in place at her private home?

Initial news media chatter had both DePape and Paul Pelosi dressed in their underwear, struggling over a hammer which turned out to belong to Mr. Pelosi. Not until the police entered the house did DePape wrest the hammer from Mr. Pelosi and commence to brain him with it. What does the arrest report actually say about the two men’s state-of-dress? It is not public information. How and why were the police just watching until DePape assaulted Mr. Pelosi — who was hospitalized afterward and had surgery on his cracked skull? (Uh, how did a blow that literally broke his skull not kill the elderly Mr. Pelosi?)

The news media initially suggested that somebody — a third person on the scene — opened the door to let the police in. Now they are saying no such person was there. Was the front door unlocked? (Weird, considering the general threat level for a public figure of Nancy P’s stature.) Or, did police break the glass door in the rear of the house to get in? (However, photos of the door show the glass being broken from the inside and shards spread over the outside.) Odd, also, that such a wealthy and powerful couple would not have hard-to-smash security glass on such a door. (It’s easy to buy.) Odd, too, that there was not one human security guard on the premises. The house had security cameras all over the exterior and interior. No mention in the news media or from the SFPD of what might have been recorded by these cameras at the time of the incident.

My assessment of this bizarre episode as follows: Paul Pelosi was out drinking late the night of the incident. He hooked up with David DePape, a hustler he might have been previously acquainted with, and took him back to the house in Pacific Heights. Something went wrong with the transaction. Considering that DePape exhibited psychotic behavior at times, it might have taken little to set him off. All the authorities involved are playing it coy, but failing to construct a narrative that adds up.

The Democratic Party has attempted to convert the sordid incident into a political talking point, painting DePape as a MAGA crazy. That spin apparently failed almost instantly. Their next effort will be to shove the story down the memory hole — the news media will just not report on any developments. Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi put out a statement that her family is “heartbroken” over the incident. Yes, of course. I’m sure. Nobody knew about Paul Pelosi’s peccadillos. Boo-hoo. Cry me a river, you degenerate jade. Don’t suppose the truth about this will be successfully suppressed, like Hunter B’s laptop. And so, the career of Nancy Pelosi comes to an ignominious end in the November 8 election, with a cherry-on-top of personal humiliation. She deserves every bit of it.

The people who run our country, both left and right (but especially left) are not like me. They are sick, perverted, degenerates who lust after power. They are deviates. They are monsters.

    • Walter B October 31, 2022 at 10:44 am #

Yes they are liz, but unfortunately for US(A), there is a growing number of perverted degenerates out here in the crowd as well. In fact, there are sufficient numbers of that kind wandering about along with enough self-centered do nothings that the bizarre events that seem to unfold every damn day have become routine and even acceptable to the mindless masses.

I suggest that we approve Jim’s theory as the factual truth of this latest sordid attempt to destroy our collective minds, even if it results in the awarding of David and Hammerhead some form of protected minority status for alternate sexual preferences. Jim’s idea is the only one that makes any sense and therefore will be banned as disinformation by the Ministry of Truth, lest it wake up any of the Not Brain Dead Yet.

Sorry Dopey Joe, too late for you. I’ll bet Kamala and Barry the Impaler are laughing their fool heads off over this one. Stupid white people.

Great rundown of the latest Pelosi nuttiness. I’ll bet you’re very close to the truth in most of the particulars. From the time it hit the news I wondered how it was there were no security guards or cameras in use and why P.P. would answer the door in the middle of the night. Don’t they even have a peep-hole and front porch light?

Next thing we’ll hear is that P.P. was Hammerhead’s AA sponsor and he was trying to save the poor man who went on a drinking binge after watching 3,486 hours of January 6th hearings.

JHK is on-target. When I was in federal service I worked protective details from time to time for high ranking VIP officials and let me tell you something – the ONLY time these political people tell their security detail to get lost is when they are about to do something immoral or unlawful and they do not want any witnesses to what they are up to.

The Pelosi’s are WAY too high up the friggin’ food chain to ditch all of their security measures at their residence without a very compelling reason.

Our host has laid out just such a reason and it is VERY plausible to this former federal investigator.

The New Jersey Troopers who drove Governor McGreavey around tell the same tale and Bill Clinton’s bodyguards did as well. It is amazing how much silence a paycheck and a pension can buy.

          • MaryQueen November 2, 2022 at 11:03 am #

I agree completely. Why ditch your detail unless you’re up to something you wouldn’t want anyone to know about?

      • Minnie Van Horne October 31, 2022 at 12:27 pm #

I suggest that Mr. Kunstler, though brilliantly expressive as usual, is perhaps just a wee bit over-hasty in his prediction of how this little episode of Saturday night fun in Babylon-by-the-Bay will turn out.

It shan’t be long before Nan and her consort Paul will be having a delightful sit-down in the garden with Oprah, rather in the style of her chat with the regal Harry and the lovely Meghan. Perhaps Mr. DePape will even be invited to join them for a cameo appearance. Wouldn’t that be lovely?

I think Americans will be absolutely enchanted to hear Madame Speaker and her helpmate rhapsodize about the joys and rewards of facing each day as a Modern Alternative Family. Her street cred will be going up, up, up as an elite spokesperson for the LGBTQ lifestyle, I can tell you that — and what a pleasure that will be to witness!

The sordid end of Ms. Pelosi’s career? Au contraire!!! If Nancy plays her cards right, I think she may just be a shoo-in for the 2024 Democratic Party nomination for the White House. Perhaps Hunter Biden will consent to be her running mate.

        • David Webb October 31, 2022 at 1:46 pm #

This is something that confuses me. The left is claiming that the right is trying to defame Paul Pelosi by saying that he’s a closet gay, but since being gay is something to be proud of, why would he be closeted, and why would it be defamation?

Pro Tip to all the foaming-at-the-kisser homophobos on CFN: there is a category of reputedly desirable commercial sex partner known among the cognoscenti as “rough trade”. I have in past lives had several frenemies who were fond of associating with such gentlemen-of-the-night who would inevitably beat them up, relieve them of cash, passport and any other loose valuables, and leave them pondering their fate in some dank third-world gutter. Such ruffians were usually not of the Uranian bent but rather of that classic mold which sought joy in the evening by “beating up queers”. (You won’t believe how ancient that throwaway line sounds at this point, although I have read it in this Comments section. Further Pro Tip: with certain exceptions, in particular Sand Nigger Paradise, it’s “GAME OVER” for the ‘phobes. Get over it.)

I only mention this manner of association because it was omitted from the otherwise-richly-amusing account above. Like Malcolm Forbes, also fond of young male company – but on the sly – Mr. Pelosi appears to have been, ah, “outed” by his rash decisions.

Regarding the guilt-ridden perverts of yore, I am thinking in particular of one tortured Canadian Catholic poet pal’o’mine who lost so many passports that the normally mild & polite Canuck-embassy folk told him flat out “Edward, this is your last one from us”. An eminent Canadian man of letters even wrote a book about him, after he died, miserable-to-the-end, in a hospice in miserable eastern Canada, called “Lost Passport”.

          • Jarek October 31, 2022 at 4:34 pm #

Well, yes. The Pelosi’s played it safe for so long that he would be deemed as a coward for coming out at this point.

          • Anthea October 31, 2022 at 4:54 pm #

            Re beating up queers:

Many years ago in the late 60s I had a good friend named Susan whom I met in Chicago. She and her husband Mike were living in Chicago because they were high-school sweethearts who, due to a long rigmarole story, decided to run away to Chicago and change their last names because they didn’t want their families back in Columbus, Ohio, to be able to locate them. (The reason I mention their names and the particulars is because I lost track of them many years ago, and I guess there is some remote chance that someone reading this blog might know.)

Anyway, they had very little money when they arrived in Chicago. In order to make ends meet, Mike partnered with a local hillbilly (there were many on the Near North Side) for the purpose of rolling queers in Lincoln Park.

Mike dressed in the gay “uniform” of that era, which if I remember right was white pants, and waited for an invitation to adjourn to the bushes. Once he and his new friend were alone, his hillbilly partner would join them from out of nowhere, beat up the queer, and relieve him of his valuables.

I had the impression that this was a fairly common way to pick up a few extra bucks in Chicago at that time.

Mike went on to become an engineer. They had a daughter named Kelly who would now be 52 years old. Susan and Mike would be about 75.

          • Anthea October 31, 2022 at 5:10 pm #

If Paul Pelosi is gay or consorts with male prostitutes, the entire gay community in San Francisco knows all about it and has for decades.

Every gay man can rattle off a list of every wealthy and prominent guy in town who is known to be gay. They’ve all seen them at the bars and at parties. They know what kind of car they drive and who they’re dating.

          • mrs_saj October 31, 2022 at 5:19 pm #

Anthea, Agreed. If PP is gay or bi, it would be well known throughout San Francisco’s gay community. I’m actually surprised I haven’t read of an interview from someone in that community confirming or denying it.

          • Anthea October 31, 2022 at 11:09 pm #

            @ mrs_saj:

When it comes to gossip, gay men never miss a trick (pun intended). When they were in college, they knew which college professors are gay because they saw them at the bars. If the gay choir director at an area church breaks up with the organist, the whole town knows about ten minutes after the bars open.

Ridiculous. De Pape wasn’t MAGA, he was NAZI – since they are the same thing. Pelosi was into Nazi kink, as so many Leftists are. The clothes make the man after all, as Bug Bunny and so many posters here have made clear.

      • HowardBeale October 31, 2022 at 7:44 pm #

I think hammers are now part of the officially sanctioned gay-sex toolbox. I don’t want to know how they use them when they are not hitting each other in the head…

      • elysianfield October 31, 2022 at 11:34 am #

It is a weakness for men, a strength for women and their proxies.

Twice in months he has been so drunk and reckless that the cops have gotten involved.

WTF? What does he know? What is his war mongering wife telling him? Why is he drinking and carousing like there’s no tomorrow? Maybe because he knows that our ruling overlords are planning to cut off our tomorrows fairly soon.

Possibly we’ll find out in time to somehow limit a bit of the huge damage they have inflicted on the people of this and other countries.

        • Walter B October 31, 2022 at 9:59 pm #

One of the pitfalls for those who cannot ever have enough wealth even though they amass huge piles of cash, is that the obsession can lead to a point where they actually have too much wealth but fail to realize it. Having gazillions opens up doors for the mega wealthy that decent, honest people will never have to choose to open, and some of those doors lead to hell, figuratively and literally. No one can ever have everything, but as the cravings increase so does the madness and that can drive them into bizarre and usually deviant choices just to break the monotony.

Wealth has a perceived value, but no real inherent value on its own, though it may be utilized to procure things that do have value. It can also be used to buy things that have absolutely NO value and even negative value and people like Hammerhead Pelosi is clearly one of these types of losers. And then there is the thought that bedding a homeless, lunatic street turd like Davis is a lot less painful that climbing on top of the Old Windbag Nacy, but that’s an argument that I am not going to try to make here tonight.

        A. The entire email that my wife and I received is a canned email that millions are now receiving. This one and I’ve heard of 2 other different type emails people are receiving that was kicked off and are now being allowed back on.

        B. I’m sure Elon had a hand in on either approving the emails are came up with them himself….. if I had to pick I would pick this. He didn’t create the entire,

But he did have / does have final approval on all of them that are being sent out….

In a nutshell, they are Psychopaths. No conscience, no morals, charming personalities when needed, compulsive liars, no remorse, no empathy, totally narcissistic.

Andrew Lobazewski, PhD’s ingenious book, Political Ponerology (i.e. the study of evil), definitively shows that socially adept psychopaths gravitate toward politics and are completely in syn and comfortable there. That’s what supposedly ‘leads’ us.

Yes, good book. People assume that being so selfish they can’t cooperate. But the high IQ ones can and do very well. Other people often can’t recognize them, but they can recognize each other it would seem.

        • Rowdypiglet October 31, 2022 at 2:46 pm #

Having encountered these people myself, most of low IQ but a few smart ones, they know how to mimic the behavior of normal people. Their cooperation with others of their kind is for a different reason from that which drives normal people to cooperate; it’s merely the recognition that what benefits other sociopaths is likely also to benefit them. That’s why they don’t have to meet in secret places and conspire with other sociopaths. They simply have to do the most selfish, evil thing they can conceive of in any given situation, knowing others like them will do the same, and that their doing so will eventually corrupt the system beyond repair.

In my experience in the corporate world, a lot of it is based on getting dirt on one another.

This process starts early, and if both parties have it (something provable), they will tend to help each other out and cooperate to the point that they can both maintain status.

If only one party has it, the other one is more or less done for.

I wouldn’t suppose these sort trysts would especially come as any surprise to Nancy.

When someone has hands big enough to palm a basketball and an Adam’s apple and had children, then maybe it is true that men can get pregnant..but I don’t think so.

  2. PeteAtomic October 31, 2022 at 10:00 am #

Yep, I agree with you about this story.

The lack of curiosity by our “news” class, tells you everything. They aren’t interested in the truth. Their jobs are to legitimize the power of the satanic elites who hold dominion over the nation.

Our country needs the Orange Man back to help perform exorcisms on the diseased & vomit spewing body politic.

    • hmuller October 31, 2022 at 10:37 am #

Do you suppose if a story like this involved one of the Trumps the MSM would drop it and shove it down a memory hole? Oh, hell no. They’d make it the grounds for a third impeachment.

I was struck but not surprised by how Hillary Clinton immediately blamed the Pelosi incident on those extremist MAGA people and Trump personally. Now there’s a woman of keen judgment qualified to be President. NOT!

Nature is unkind. While men never lose the desire for sex, they often lose the ability to perform it without massive assistance from those little blue pills. Women don’t lose the ability, they simply lose the desire.

        • SpeedyBB October 31, 2022 at 3:33 pm #

draupnir? You get out and around? You haven’t observed the assault waves of aging, often wealthy, women roaming the haunts of gigolos and toy-boys?

Man, there’s a whole industry out there supporting the economy. Go to any Acapulcan, Balinese or Copacabanan resort to see these frisky smooth-talking fellas on the hunt for rich widows.

(Wobbling along weak-smiled from getting pussy-whipped, more likely. One wise old man once told me “Son, that’s the hardest way in the world to earn money”. If he only know he was wasting his time…)

          • draupnir October 31, 2022 at 3:58 pm #

I certainly don”t get out to places like that. That sort of thing is for monied women desperately grasping at youth. Men don’t hold a monopoly on that sort of thing. Isn’t there a movie along those lines that came out within the last year or so? Helen Mirren plays a much older woman hiring a male prostitute.

        • pranah November 2, 2022 at 3:55 pm #

Something a lot of folks don’t know is that after the female hormones dump at menopause, women lose sexual desire because they go dead down there (to some extent or another). It’s not just a matter of vaginal dryness (also a drag, but can be alleviated with topicals). Hormone replacement can help the dead-down-there lack of feeling, but it’s never the same.

Excellent factual reporting on this “inexplicable event” James. Let me complete it. The senile godfather Paul Pelosi picked up a male whore known for providing sexual services at a bar and brought him home. He handed his consort a hammer and offered him extra money it he could cram the handle up his butt hole. The escort flipped out and used the hammer on Pelosi’s forehead instead.

Among our “leaders” like OBiden, Clinton, and Gates, there is one absolute requirement for entry into the closed circle. Satanic deviancy.

The ambient peril is that when one of the Elite falls out of favor – unbeknownst to him or her – they may get the more wicked flavor of mRNA. What William Burroughs describes as the “hot shot”: a pure heroin rush that just sends you careening over the top into the Happy Hunting Ground.

LOL! Brilliant detective work, Mr. K! The only thing that could make this story any better is if Billy Jeff Clinton somehow were to find his way – wearing his customary shit-eating grin and elderly junk dangling – into it. Reminds me of the tag line from the 1997 movie title, Inventing the Abbots: Inventing the Pelosi’s: When you want it all but can’t have it, there’s only one way to handle life: invent it. One thing’s for sure though, there’s absolutely no need for anyone to wonder who wears the strap-on in Nancy and Paul’s sordid relationship anymore.

  9. redrock October 31, 2022 at 10:17 am #

What is NOT a crock of shit these days???

    • mrs_saj October 31, 2022 at 10:44 am #

Yeah, a million dollar security system including fence plus personnel and PP sleeps with a hammer on his nightstand? Because 82 year old half asleep men can clearly overpower an intruder who makes it past the security. I have a 9 mm in my nightstand. No inflated opinion of my strength.

      • Beryl of Oyl October 31, 2022 at 11:48 am #

They were reportedly standing poised to strike one another, a tableau vivant, as it were. For some reason Dave held off on smashing Paul in the head until the two cops could see it.

Maybe they were to be the judges in some sort of contest?

        • Jarek October 31, 2022 at 12:56 pm #

In other words, the hammer was a prop, the head, styrofoam. So why bother doing it all since the cops would have to be in on it?

A magical ritual. Another Event 201. Much like your pretending to eat at McDonald’s but not swallowing.

          • Beryl of Oyl October 31, 2022 at 1:47 pm #

Hey my neighborhood’s newly remodeled McDonald’s is now open, inside and at the drive through.

It appears to only have the kiosks for ordering, no counter people, but that’s only to the casual glance from 20 feet away.

I did not go any closer and press my nose against the glass to see, as I didn’t want anyone to construe that as possibly thinking about going inside.

          • Jarek October 31, 2022 at 4:39 pm #

Below 20 below you nose will freeze to the glass.

I’d like that. Please send a pic if this “happens”.

          • Paula D October 31, 2022 at 8:10 pm #

I went to a McDonald’s in April and they had those kiosks, but there was one employee who knew how to take an order.

I also paid cash, which seemed to blow them away also.

            We are doomed.

        • mrs_saj October 31, 2022 at 12:59 pm #

Yeah, I got that part. But 2 am, lots of security, guy breaks in by breaking glass which magically falls outside the broken door (without a hammer, cause the hammer belongs to PP), PP wakes up and grabs his hammer (because it’s, you know, on his nightstand) and investigates the noise. A call is somehow made and the two men end up near the foyer to let the cops in, while wrestling over said hammer. Then the assault takes place.

          Uh huh. Riiiiiiiiiight.

          • Blackbird October 31, 2022 at 7:04 pm #

Like all compassionate beings, I too am anxious to get to the bottom of this tragic story.

My current understanding of the event – which I am attempting to sell to the Pelosi’s (any of you wanna make substantial improvements to the story, I’ll cut you in on the proceeds) – is as follows:

            It’s 2 AM
            The beer is gone
            I’m sittin’ here waitin’…

A sudden noise awakens the ever vigilant Mr. Pelosi. With ninja reflexes, he leaps out of bed, seizes the hammer he had left on the dresser that night (after hanging yet another picture of the Madonna and Child), and throws it through the window/door thingy – scattering glass outside. Da PeePee, in a MAGA-fueled rage, catches the hammer in mid-air, and leaps through the hole in the door/window thingy.

Nancy, loving wife that she is, awakens from a troubling dream. She calls SFPD and asks, “Would you please check on my little Pauli? Mmmm… Thanks loverboy!” Then rolls back into the arms of her massage therapist Jamal.

Police enter (who cares how?) to discover the tableau vivant come to life: two old men in their underwear, one hammer. Da PeePee hurls the hammer at Da PoPo, Pauli leaps, like a World Cup soccer goalie to the defense of the police, deflecting the hammer with his head.

Following a head transplant – ya gotta keep the old one, just staple on a new one – Pauli is awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Empress Hildebeast.

          • Blackbird October 31, 2022 at 7:31 pm #

Ok, I’m a little behind on the news.

Not only did Nancy call (exactly as I described above), but more importantly, Pauli called from the bathroom, to which he had excused himself with the explanation, that he wasn’t quite ready for the coming event, and there made his/shiz dramatic call for help.

Here is the text on the Reclaim the Net story, below the incredibly arrogant tweets of an EU twirp:

“The Digital Services Act (DSA) is a new set of rules for social media and ecommerce companies that was recently passed and will come into effect next year. It aims at making internet businesses liable for societal risks like hate speech. Breton’s tweet was a warning to Musk that Twitter will have to follow DSA rules.

Breton’s spokesperson refused to say whether the European Commission is concerned about Musk’s ownership of Twitter. However, a source told TechCrunch that the bloc was confident the bird’s wings are already clipped.

“With the EU Digital Services Act, the time of big online platforms behaving like they are ‘too big to care’ is coming to an end. The DSA sets clear, harmonized obligations for platforms – proportionate to size, impact and risk,” the source said.

“Europe is open — but on our conditions. Anyone who wants to benefit from the European market will have to fulfill our rules, including on moderation, open algorithms, freedom of speech, transparency, hate speech, revenge porn, and harassment.

“The Commission will supervise very large platforms, including the possibility to impose effective and dissuasive sanctions of up to 6% of global turnover or even a ban on operating in the EU single market in case of repeated serious breaches.”

If I were Elon Musk I think I would interpret this situation as an enormous red flag waving right under his nose.

      We’ll see. Interesting times . . .

      • Beryl of Oyl October 31, 2022 at 10:44 am #

I doubt LeBron understands just how he has been used here:

“Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James reacted Saturday to a reported surge in hate speech on Twitter since Elon Musk’s acquisition of the platform Thursday.

James responded to a report from Drew Harwell, Taylor Lorenz and Cat Zakrzewski of the Washington Post, which detailed findings from a research group known as the Network Contagion Research Institute. The NCRI said use of the N-word on Twitter increased by nearly 500 percent in the 12 hours after Musk took over.”

I mentioned last time I’ve been listening to one of the more trendy pop radio stations lately. The DJ yesterday, sounding like a very young man, was voicing his concerns that Elon was going to allow “hate speech” on Twitter, and wouldn’t that be terrible.

Well I think some of the music on that station is terrible, but no one forces me to listen.

Maybe I am forced, in a sense, if the station is part of a monopoly, but why would someone working for a monopoly or listening to a monopoly be overly concerned about some rich dude taking so much power over a different form of media?

It’s just like all of a sudden they are worried that Elon is going to stiff those he fred out of their platinum parachutes. Since when do they care about such things?

Musk should just bail on the EU market. That act alone might inspire rioting in the streets of all the major Euro capitals as angry voters vent their rage on EU pols who screwed them out of their beloved Twitter addictions. LOL!

““Europe is open — but on our conditions. Anyone who wants to benefit from the European market will have to fulfill our rules, including on moderation, open algorithms, freedom of speech, transparency, hate speech, revenge porn, and harassment.”

Europe’s giant industries like their steel plants, BASF etc. are shutting down. None of these industries work without access to fossil fuel inputs and gas/petroleum feedstocks for chemicals. This will result in a cascade of other business failures for smaller companies relying on the big ones. Europe will not have any markets. What will they be selling that anyone wants next year? Firewood? Scrap metal? Homemade pottery crafted by crackpots?

      This reminds me of JHK’s statement from last blog post ;

“Of course, the rule-of-law has become a pitifully squishy thing in our time. Nobody is accountable for anything these days. ”

Uh , No. Those who can’t afford a 500 – dollar – an – hour lawyer are every bit as accountable as they ever were.

  12. stelmosfire October 31, 2022 at 10:19 am #

How can they possibly keep a lid on the real story? The way these cops swap stories I can’t see how this doesn’t come out. If it is leaked who will carry it is the question.

    • Rain Waters October 31, 2022 at 1:18 pm #

same way the lids welded on 911, scamdy crook, christchurch nz, boston marathon, etc etc on and on

    • Paula D October 31, 2022 at 1:30 pm #

      It is also the answer.

They will keep a lid on it by refusing to report on it in the msm and by censoring social media.

They might threaten ordinary people with the Alex Jones treatment, the way they did with the banning of people from Twitter and Facebook.

First Alex, then the ordinary Joe Blow.

      • Rowdypiglet October 31, 2022 at 2:59 pm #

It’s kind of fascinating how, if absolutely forced to, they will sometimes report on something that clearly requires some sort of draconian response, after which nothing at all happens and it’s never mentioned again. It’s as if 9/11 happened and they reported it on that day and then you never heard anything else about it ever again.

Occam’s razor suggests the obvious – Mr. Pelosi is a degenerate himself and he was having gay sex and two drunk/high people, one of which is psychotic, get a little carried away with shenanigans and suddenly Mr. Pelosi is calling the cops. They arrive on the scene just in time to see the hammer being fought over. Couldn’t happen to nicer people…

    • Islander October 31, 2022 at 10:24 am #

He might even have thought he was calling cops he knew.

In fact, he might have been doing just that.

      • DyersEve October 31, 2022 at 10:27 am #

Not had at all to believe that the Pelosi’s had SFPD cops in their Rolodex for just such “problems”. The corruption is deep and it obviously goes all the way up to DOJ top level position currently. You have to think it starts with cops in a liberal CA city like SF. No way the truth gets out easily and God help Mr. DePape bc he can get “accidented” pretty easily in such a world.

        • Lyndy33 October 31, 2022 at 11:11 am #

I have read that it was a 911 call. No Rolodex needed.

        • Jarek October 31, 2022 at 1:02 pm #

SF cops have to march in Gay Pride parades. If any of them don’t like it, they better keep that to themselves, smile, and wave.

        • D from OR October 31, 2022 at 1:23 pm #

Also the when Pelosi called 911 from the bathroom he left the line open and the dispatcher figured out there was “something more” than what she was being told, resulting in a quicker police response.

Oh really? A regular 911 call would have taken longer?

The whole story is BS upon BS.

    • Disaffected October 31, 2022 at 10:36 am #

LOL!!! Gonna be some really knee-slapping variations of this story getting told in the station house and local cop watering holes in the coming weeks. If someone can’t manage to wrangle a six figure book advance deal out of this incident then I’m gravely underestimating the American entrepreneurial spirit.

        You are overestimating it.

        • Jarek October 31, 2022 at 1:04 pm #

Agree. The Elite can keep secrets and those that work for them better be able to keep their secrets as well.

After the Las Vegas shooting, wasn’t it the janitor who went on Ellen’s show with his lawyer? It’s said that he was visibly terrified.

          • Blackbird October 31, 2022 at 7:24 pm #

            Yeah, but…

An important part of keeping secrets is telling lies. Not so much to do with the “American entrepreneurial spirit”, as with the American propaganda spirit, but money – seven figures and more – will be made spinning this story, and many others like it.

In that spirit, I submit my interpretation above. A cool million as it stands right now, the price will just go up with improvement.

The level of absolute stupid continues. Down the memory hole goes Nancy Pelosi saying she wanted to beat up the Donald or Maxine Waters calls for confrontation and violence while Trump was a real elected President.

Pelosi, 82, was allegedly attacked inside his San Francisco home early Friday morning by 42-year-old David DePape, a man who has reportedly espoused right-wing views in the past including Trump’s 2020 election fraud theories. During the attack, he allegedly yelled “Where is Nancy?” Pelosi was taken to a local hospital where he underwent surgery to repair a skull fracture.

Former President Donald Trump should be “prosecuted” like a “mob boss” following the attack on Paul Pelosi, husband to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner said Saturday.

Former NASCAR driver Bobby East stabbed to death at California gas station
Following the attack, attention turned to rhetoric some Republicans, including Trump, have used against Pelosi in recent weeks—with critics saying the use of violent rhetoric may have contributed to the attack.

Kirschner said Saturday that Trump should face legal consequences for his alleged responsibility in inciting violence, comparing him to a mob boss who hands down orders, but doesn’t commit violence himself.

“If you don’t prosecute the mob bosses and the kingpins—if you leave them in place, they will continue to recruit,” he said. “And that is precisely what Donald Trump has been doing and will continue to do unless and until he is prosecuted.”

Kirschner drew a direct line between the Pelosi attack and January 6, 2021, when a mob of Trump supporters rioted at the U.S. Capitol building in a failed attempt to force Congress to block President Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory. Critics and legal experts have accused Trump of encouraging the attack and failing to stop it.

Many of the Capitol rioters have faced prosecution, but Trump has so far avoided criminal charges. However, he remains under investigation and has been subpoenaed by the House select committee investigating the insurrection.

Kirschner said Trump will “continue to recruit foot soldiers” if he does not face prosecution.

“Frankly this ongoing Trump-inspired violence is not a surprise,” he added. “What happened on January 6 and what just happened to Paul Pelosi is exactly what Donald Trump’s language and conduct and behavior is designed to accomplish.”

While Republicans including former Vice President Mike Pence and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell have condemned the attack on Pelosi, Trump has remained quiet. He has been active on Truth Social however, posting about the Brazilian election and investigations into his conduct as president.

Following the attack, Republicans have faced scrutiny for their rhetoric against the House Speaker. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy previously said “it will be hard not to hit” Nancy Pelosi with the Speaker’s gavel if he assumes the House’s top post after the midterms. Meanwhile, a McCarthy spokesperson told The Hill that he reached out to check on Paul Pelosi and is “praying for a full recovery.”

In addition, other Republicans have used the attack to draw attention to rising crime before the midterms.

”A skull fracture is a break in the bone of the skull. For most skull fractures, treatment consists of close observation in the hospital and medication to relieve pain during the healing process…..

The goal of skull fracture treatment is to control pain, promote healing, and prevent complications. For most skull fractures, which are linear fractures, surgical intervention is not needed. Instead, physicians prescribe medication to control pain and maintain close observation in the hospital.

Surgery may be needed to repair compound fractures, comminuted fractures and some types of closed fractures, and also to stitch up any tears in the dura mater and scalp.

Proper diagnosis is crucial to distinguish between skull fractures that need and do not need surgical treatment—and thus to avoid potential complications.”

      • Prospero October 31, 2022 at 1:55 pm #

It could be that Paul Pelosi will be kept secluded indefinately in the hospital in order to keep him quiet. The continual news reports that Mr. Pelosi is expected to make a full recovery from his skull fracture, brain operation and other severe hammer wounds seems suspicious. Paul Pelosi will continue to recover in isolation as the “official” story is being concocted. He will then be instructed on what to say and to whom he will be permitted to say it.

        • Islander October 31, 2022 at 2:00 pm #

          That sounds likely.

He will not be returning home anytime soon. Where he can only get into even more trouble of one sort or another.

Plus, he probably needs some kind of protection.

And, if they want to end the embarrassment, the quickest way to do it is in the hospital.
Cf. Godfather of one number or another. Hospital is not necessarily a very safe place. . . So easy to arrange a medical event . . .

But he can die after the inevitable Blue Tsunami! too, adding fuel to the burn the white nationalists fire.

Or he can make a full recovery… Ok, whatever. Opportunity wasted.

    • Night Owl October 31, 2022 at 10:28 am #

I mentioned that I think the “Where’s Nancy is pulled straight from one of their scripts.”

It’s interesting, people forget how centrally Ukraine figures into the human trafficking explosion after the globalization of Europe.

Look who among our politicians are not only involved in Ukraine, but also have family members involved in corruption over there as well.

The Biden family. Joe’s son likes to take pictures of himself with women in the sex trade, in his undies.

The Pelosi family has a son over there right? We don’t know if his son spends inordinate time in his underwear, but we know know Paul does.

Pierre Delecto has a son working there as well. Enough said.

Miss Lindsey doesn’t have a son, but, again, enough said.

    • niner October 31, 2022 at 11:13 am #

The undies is key here. Why were they wearing undies at all. We know Depape was a nude activist performance artist specializing in leftist tableau.

The pair were obviously rehearsing a nudist political skit where one held the hammer aloft and the other held the sickle, both singing the old soviet anthem, Internationale, while high-kicking like Las Vegas showgirls.

So we can surmise that they were still wearing undies because this was a *dress* rehearsal and they were having a friendly tussle about who got to carry the hammer.

      • elysianfield October 31, 2022 at 11:48 am #

The best fictional and satire writers out there could not have come up with something so absolutely pitch perfect for this crazy season, nor could current Dem political operatives/”fixers” have come up with a more transparently stupid and unlikely explanation for these patently weird SF shenanigans. We don’t do much right anymore in this dried up husk of a formerly great and vibrant nation, but this little episode truly lives up to the high bar of “exceptional.”

This Paul Pelosi story just keeps getting better. Newsmax reported today that duct tape and zip ties were found at the scene. Other than for crimes, aren’t those objects used in BDSM sex practices? Also,as noted in this article the broken glass from the back door was found on the outside patio and not inside the house. Doesn’t that suggest that Pelosi used his hammer to break it and try to make it look like a break-in? He just didn’t want to go outside in his underwear to break it. Perhaps, he also needed an excuse for the encounter going wrong and to seek help from the police by blaming the other guy. I predict that charges are dismissed and the homeless guy gets a nice payout. He will be able to afford a house.

    • Beryl of Oyl October 31, 2022 at 11:27 am #

The glass breaks, but someone has to call 911 to get help. Don’t security systems come with alarms that summon help when glass is smashed?

      • Anthea October 31, 2022 at 5:54 pm #

One explanation is that someone broke the glass as a way of setting of an alarm and summoning police, because that “someone” did not want to take the responsibility for making a 911 call.

There are many possibilities as to who that “third person” might have been. People with the Pelosi’s kind of wealth would almost certainly have a live-in housekeeper and a security staff. Some of these people might figure their jobs (or even their lives) could be at risk if they called the cops in such a case.

    • cowbell81 October 31, 2022 at 11:29 am #

      Gee, glass on the outside?

Sounds like someone was trying to get out, doesn’t it? Another question, isn’t door glass safety glass? How could you break out safety glass with a hammer. This isn’t candy glass like the movies.

      • stelmosfire October 31, 2022 at 12:45 pm #

Jaz, most doors are not safety glass, but tempered glass. Safety glass is a car windshield. Two pieces of glass with plastic laminated between. From the looks of the picture the window broken at the house was very similar to a car windshield. You see a million little pieces of glass but also the window is still holding together. Broken into a million pieces. It almost looks like a body flew into it. It’s very hard to break tempered glass with a hammer unless you hit it on the edge or with a sharp point like a spring loaded center punch.

Not really related, but the Atlantic magazine wants “us” to declare an amnesty for the awful things they did during the scamdemic because “we” were “in the dark” but the only reason anybody was “in the dark” was because the Atlantic ran articles like The Pandemic’s Wrongest Man, about Alex Berenson, who was enlightening people as to the truth about the whole thing.

The One become two. The two become three. And the three became all the ten thousand things.

          Lao Tzu

How does the existence of gods (small g) contradict the idea of God (big G)?

The missionaries were always telling the Hindoos that they were polytheists. The doos never agreed with them on that.

          • Q. Shtik October 31, 2022 at 5:26 pm #

Oh, I don’t know Jar, it’s all a crock anyway.

        • Alzaebo October 31, 2022 at 10:33 pm #

Careful, Master Q. That is the most dangerous lie ever proposed- that there is One.

God’s Maker would be a better name for the higher register.

That is, the power above the gods, the forces of creation above intelligence, sentience, or consciousness.

That there is One is supremacist propaganda by a second-rate people who wouldst make the civilization in whose shadow they lived, bow to them.

Not booswash, really, merely a way of talking; giving a face and a name to something that one can sense but not describe is an easy social shorthand. It is also powerful political propaganda.

          • Alzaebo October 31, 2022 at 11:08 pm #

All peoples understood that each had their own gods, the gods of their fathers, their city, their kingdom.

The radical faction that proposed the One- theirs- as King of the gods tore apart first their own society in the pursuit of dominance, then went on to destroy every civilization that let them in. Including ours, today.

The Christians and Aryan-touched Hindoos say ‘the god’ as a Greek would. As if the god were a character, an individual, come down to earth to impregnate a human woman like Mother Mary.

The tribe that invented and reinforced the One God- burning our libraries that their version of history might reign- do not see their god. Their understanding and writing style are different from the West; this is why Western readers don’t understand what they’re reading.

It’s an “everyman” style, like a bar joke . A character or archetype stand for a culture, a people, encoded in shorthand as an individual in a family story.

When they speak of the coming of “a Messiah”, they speak of not some magical puppet or superhero, but of the triumph of their people. Each man will die, but the tribe is immortal.

Thus, prophecy of an Anti-Christ is not the coming of some comic-book supervillain.

Watched a you tube about the difference between Red and Blue. Interesting read.

Blues. Gimmes, dependent emotionally driven and will make sure that power is vested in government where their supplies will be uninterrupted. The ends always justifies the means. Issues are an excuse and change according to need. City dwellers, frustrated minorities. Always on the offense. 20%

Reds. Independent, rational, issue driven but not emotionally driven for power. Always more driven to compromise as a result. Always on the defense. 20%

60%, the rest, independents, Moderates. Willing to work with either side to get results, or not. Have elements of both. Politicians feed on these guys, indeed most pols are independents feeding on the latest issues and gossip. AKA, flippers.

    • Redneck Liberal October 31, 2022 at 6:39 pm #

Who came up with this bullshit? A qualified psychologist or just some random MAGAt?

BOTH descriptions (of “Red” and “Blue”) are patently biased crapola.

The “Reds” rational? NOT emotionally driven? Ready to compromise? That’s hilarious.

The “60% Independents” is where elections are won & lost so these are the guys a pol needs to appeal to. They’re the swing voters (‘flippers” seems a tad derogatory).

I was hopping you would have something to say about the statement by the Energy information commission on 25 days left of diesel fuel.

    Fuck Biden and Fuck Trump
They are both bigg government flackies…

    • Beryl of Oyl October 31, 2022 at 12:19 pm #

The Ticker Guy keeps hammering the fuel issue, if you’ll pardon the expression.

“Let me be clear: This last example has the potential to return the American people to a lifestyle akin to that of the 1700s if not before. That’s not hyperbole or a joke — its real, and those who poo-poo it are wrong. Every advancement in human history over the last couple of hundred years rests on the exploitation of carbon-based energy and there is no evidence of any kind that it can be successfully replaced. Even my preferred path forward for energy, which involves nuclear power, still exploits carbon-based fuels because in order for society to continue to function you have to. Simply put the Laws of Thermodynamics are not suggestions and cannot be repealed or circumvented; they are facts.”

“You see, diesel isn’t just what you think of, although that’s bad enough. That is, big trucks without which you get….. nothing. Basically every item you buy from any place, anywhere, makes at least the last mile of that journey by truck. Most of it makes a very large percentage of its journey by either truck or train — both of which run primarily on diesel fuel.

That includes the gasoline you buy at the corner station.”

      • Alzaebo October 31, 2022 at 11:18 pm #

Thanks much Beryl, I was hoping to find more on that.

    • cowbell81 October 31, 2022 at 12:22 pm #

At this point, any rational person who isn’t a dumbed-down Biden supporter or a mind-numbed CNN viewer should be realizing what happens when the diesel engine oil runs out and all the trucks and trains stop running.

For starters, there will be no coal deliveries to the power plants that generate electricity. So the power grid ceases to function.

That also means all the people with electric vehicles won’t be able to charge their cars.

No diesel = No electric vehicle charging.

With no electricity, ATMs won’t work and banks won’t function either. Nor will Point-Of-Sale retail systems at checkout counters. Credit cards won’t work either.

Without trucks or trains, there will be no food deliveries to grocery stores. No inventory at Wal-Mart. No lumber at Home Depot.

If this diesel engine oil situation is not somehow resolved, Amazon.com will cease to function because all the package carriers — UPS, Fedex, USPS, etc. — will not be able to move loads via roads or rail.

Even worse, without diesel engine oil, all agriculture will grind to a halt and the crops will rot in the fields.

There will be no construction machinery able to operate, since they’re all diesel engines.

And if your food facility is on fire and you dial 911, they won’t be able to send fire trucks because tire trucks run on diesel engines (as do most ambulances).

Many ships and boats also use diesel engines as well.

So a collapse of diesel engine oil, if it runs its course, leads to a total collapse of the economy. America cannot survive even six months without diesel engine oil, much less a year.

    • stelmosfire October 31, 2022 at 1:33 pm #

The diesel thing is a little over blown. Yes 25 days supply in reserve in NE. Usually more like 35 days. The supply is constantly being replenished, at what rate I don’t know. A super cold winter and that will be a problem. Asshole Biden has the SPR drawndown to a fraction of what it should be. Also some refiners are off line. With the price of diesel these days I would think they’d be going all in on diesel fuel production. Oil is “only” 85 bucks a barrel right now about the same as it was 10 years ago. The whole thing seems kind of intentional.

    • Jarek October 31, 2022 at 1:45 pm #

Yes, America chose trucking over railroads by and large. And diesel is what they need.

Somebody asked at a White Press Conference, and the piece of shit started talking about Ukraine getting the diesel it needed.

Ukraine is going to be running on portable diesel generators this winter. Putin is slowly disassembling their power grid. We’ll ship them all the genny’s and diesel they need. Forget about Granny in Poughkeepsie. She’s a disposable deplorable.

Here is a legalistic take, a comment at

“I have investigated hundreds of burglaries/home invasions in CA. If DePape was inside the home lawfully to start with, there’s no burglary. If he has clothes inside the residence, aside from what else he was wearing that night, he is a resident. Both had injury so it could be self defense and not 664/187PC. Same goes for 245(A)(1)PC, or even 602PC. It may be a 148.5PC false police report by Paul (a misd.). If this is the case, watch for further word to drag (no pun intended) out. If this is the case they will suddenly have complications with Paul’s recovery until after the election. If Nancy knew this ahead of time, this could be the end of her political career, as the truth could come out via a congressional hearing with a R lead congress. If she knew and taxpayer funds were used in furtherance of travel/security, it could be an ethics violation for Nancy. That being said I hope Paul has a full and fast recovery.”

I have no idea whether this guy is actually a cop, but I do like his “just the facts, ma’am” approach.

“It’s been several days since San Francisco police interrupted a hammer fight between Paul Pelosi… and his ‘friend… David’… and apparently the cops have not asked David DePape why he was there in the first place.”

One of the first lessons an attorney needs to learn: Never ask a question that you do NOT want the answer to. Looks like the cops got that training, too.

“Is it possible that a whole chain of authorities from the SFPD clear up into the top of the US government and its Democratic Party sidekicks don’t want you to know what actually happened?”

NO ONE in a position of any kind of authority in The Indispensable Nation wants you to know anything about what’s actually happening.

“So far, not much in this cockamamie story adds up.”

Add this to the very long list of things today that do not add up. You know… ‘2 plus 2 is five’ stuff.

“Initial news media chatter had both DePape and Paul Pelosi dressed in their underwear, struggling over a hammer which turned out to belong to Mr. Pelosi.”

Isn’t this just a normal day in the Pelosi house?…

    ‘If I had a hammer… I’d hammer in the morning… I’d hammer in the evening…’

“What does the arrest report actually say about the two men’s state-of-dress… How and why were the police just watching…”

No further comment is necessary. Just let that image settle in.

“Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi put out a statement that her family is ‘heartbroken’ over the incident.”

How soon will calls for ‘IT’S A PRIVATE MATTER’ and ‘We need your patience and understanding to give us our privacy’ be coming out from State media. With the added guilt trip that if you want to know the truth that you are being hurtful and racist. (Racist? Yeah. No matter what you don’t like about somebody today, you just call them ‘Racist!’. That’s always an effective broad-brush character slam.)

This entire episode stinks to high heaven. A perfect lead-up to an election that will be scarier that anything that happens on Halloween Night with all the anger and charges of fraud already before next week.

The Pelosi house appears to be a House of Horrors that got exposed to a Nation that already believes that the ‘Other Side’ of politics is evil and that we are all heading into some kind of National Hell. Hotel California at the Pelosi house.

And by the way, does anyone notice the resemblance between Ms. Pelosi and something that flies the skies tonight on a broom?

A hammer can be used to hurt someone… or it can be used to build someone a place to live. Maybe the way to get out of our National House of Horrors is for us to learn how to use a hammer the right way.

    And keep our underwear on.

The various versions of Paul Pelosi’s October surprise attack are now being adjusted and assembled into a false official story. Why not let the embarrassing truth be told? The true story could easily be passed off as more Russian propaganda. This strategy worked well by making the evidence of treasonous crimes contained on Hunter Biden’s laptop go away.

David Wayne DePape still remains a potential liability for the Democratic party. But even if he tells the truth about what actually happened at the Pelosi mansion, his testamony might easily be passed off as the lunatic rantings of an insane Republican.

However, if David is allowed to talk to the news media or speak up at his trial, he may not come across as being the crazy person that he is portrayed to be. There is a good chance that David might soon disappear like the unidentified passenger who was riding with Paul Pelosi when he had the drunk driving crash in his Porsche.

The coupling that the wealthy, aging and likely arrogant movie actor was after did not come to pass:

Wiki: The two perpetrators were caught and sentenced to long prison terms, but released on parole in the mid-1970s. Both were later re-arrested for unrelated crimes for which they served longer prison terms than for the murder of Novarro. In a 1998 interview, Paul Ferguson finally assumed the blame for Novarro’s death. Tom Ferguson committed suicide on March 6, 2005. Paul Ferguson died in 2018, while serving out a 60-year sentence for rape in Missouri.”

    Well, ladies and germs;

    One Billion dollar Powerball.

I just purchased a few tickets, as it is a good bet. A good bet is one that pays out true odds (or better), and in the current drawing, true odds are in the neighborhood of 900 million to one. Considering that the Powerball payout will be a bit over one Billion to one, they are laying better than even odds*

If I win it, I will get some NEW friends…in Vegas…hookers and blow and wanton gambling might be in my future. It would be a life of perpetual indulgence.

Actually, I would give the majority of it away. Friends, those in need, and those who have not labelled me a serial blasphemer.

I do get a certain pleasure in contemplating how I would keep secret, even from family members (especially from family members) that I held the winning jackpot ticket and how I would make them all rich without fucking up their lives.

I would want them to continue to work and to remain married. I would need to find a good CPA and good lawyer. I figure I would split the ticket 10 ways: me, my wife, each of my 3 kids, their spouses, and 2 grandkids. Nothing for Peter. I’d move him to a first class Nursing Home and let them deal with his shit.

Nothing for Peter – note the hatred. Not even a new rolex – Jar

If Peter had big money the first thing he would do would be to buy the most expensive Corvette. The second thing he would do is crash and kill himself and others.

Regarding the Rolex, Peter can’t even set the time on the Rolex he owns. The other night at dinner I snuck a glance at the time on Peter’s watch. I could see it was way off. I said “Peter, what time do you have on your watch?” He answered “35 of 8.” I said “you mean 7:35?” He said “um, yeah.” The actual time was 8 PM.

You prolly think I dream this shit up but you don’t know the half of it.

          • Jarek October 31, 2022 at 7:10 pm #

I was raised to say twenty five of eight, but giving the time like that seemed to go out of fashion completely.

            “I was raised to say”

If I grew up around the Catholic church, I would, also, avoid the use of “reared” in comment.

Does this rise to the level of blasphemy?

            I hope not.

So, back to the covid salt mines.

Apparently one of Academe’s major covid enforcers has penned a “let’s just forget about it” essay in the Atlantic. Emily Oster, of Brown U.

I haven’t read the article but the pushback is worth a read:

There was a piece within the past couple of days at Daily Skeptic (originally Lockdown Skeptic) about how our previous enforcers are now all saying they were never in favor of lockdowns and the public just “panicked” and chose to lock itself down.

There is just one word that can do justice to this level of gaslighting—I mean, jesus christ, we were all there, on the receiving end.
Do “they” really expect the victims to be such Stockholm Syndrome wannabes that we will all just forget the RECENT past? Apparently the ease with which the ghouls put their agenda across has addled their own minds. How I want to wring someone’s neck right now.

    • Paula D October 31, 2022 at 4:13 pm #

      Yes, they will forget.

I can’t believe that they sold the GMO injectable less than two years ago as a traditional vaccine and told everyone that they needed to take it to protect themselves and others.

And here we are less than two years out and they are swearing that no one ever said that the vaccines would stop you from getting sick or spreading the disease.

And idiots are believing it. Well, the ones that aren’t still chanting “Do it for others”, who are even stupider. They haven’t even noticed that the propaganda has changed.

“Don’t suppose the truth about this will be successfully suppressed…”

Of course it will be suppressed. I heard a major British radio broadcaster a few days ago insinuating that the ‘attack’ was the result of right-wing extremism. If it pans out that that story doesn’t add up, why, it will be memory-hold and not reported further upon.

It’s a simple but effective strategy: come up with any lie to suit your chosen narrative and broadcast it far and wide. What happens after that is irrelevant. The mud has stuck, the damage done. The media won’t correct it and the public won’t entertain any future alternative. Why would they? It fits with the official narrative that is shoved down their throats 24/7. We saw it with Covid. We’re seeing it with Ukraine.

      • Paula D November 1, 2022 at 10:51 am #

As Frank Wisner pointed out, you need the Mighty Wurlitzer to broadcast something far and wide. You can’t do it in the comment section.

The propagandists have the Mighty Wurlitzer. They control the world’s media and the internet. They push their narrative onto everyone’s smart phone and computer. You can’t escape it if you have a radio, TV, computer or phone.

All the news readers read the same script. The main narrative is laid out early and the algorithms catch heretics when they dissent.
Then they start with the bodyguard of lies, where they disseminate alternative stories, (some of them as bizarre as the Official Story), which the proles then argue over.

There is no way for truth to catch up with the Mighty Wurlitzer. It is relegated to small websites that suffer attacks if they get too popular. Americans have been conditioned to reject any story that doesn’t come straight from the squawking heads, repeated endlessly by every top down mechanism, as ”conspiracy theory”.

The shitlibs think that believing NPR and the NY Times makes them smart. No way they will give up that self-assessment by considering the absurdities they are required to swallow, nor the inconsistencies in the stories.

The shingles do not come across as looking very good. Maybe this is symbolic to how they are treating their maintenance of America? Maybe this house is just used to maintain residency and they don’t care to maintain it?

Also, got to love all the cheery pictures the press has been splashing us with, showing a “loving” Nancy and Paul together smiling and holding hands at so many charity events. Just the perfect couple, right?

One thing I am finding rather humorous as we continue to move along our current timeline is that the debased gay, trans, and pedeo propaganda being pushed around the world may actually be somewhat genuine and not just to destroy society.

It would appear that many world leaders are indeed gay and trans. We now have quite a bit of evidence on Obama, Big Mike, Jacinda, Paul Pelosi, Podesta, Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, Trudeau, Macron (I will never get over those pics with the sweaty young Africans) and many more.

This is truly a fascinating time to be alive.

    • cowbell81 October 31, 2022 at 5:03 pm #

Yes indeed, if only society was so open and forthcoming like this in the 18th and 19th Centuries. Then all those stories about Jefferson, Lincoln, etc. where the media keeps trying to tell us they were gay or bi could have been further corroborated in the press definitively made part of the history books.

This is a great place in the conversation to bring up the Nazis. What good is it to talk politics without Hitler or his cronies showing up somewhere? Ernst Rohm, the leader of the SA (sturmabteilung) was not only gay but so it seems were the members of his staff. When Hitler was needing and excuse to wipe out the SA leadership, a homosexual scandal was the excuse given. And then there is Herman Goring – it wasn’t a secret that he was gay. And who knows what particular pronoun Hitler would have had today? Dude never got married until the very last minute. Sort like it could have played out at the very end for the two stars in the movie “African Queen”. Get married and then get executed.

Absolutely. Of course it has. You know about my nephew – I’ve never mentioned the word ‘gay’ to him, not he to me. I haven’t the slightest idea what his views are on

          • GreenAlba November 3, 2022 at 2:44 pm #

            Sorry, didn’t submit that deliberately.

I have no idea what his views are on parades and so on, or on the LGB v. LTBTQ etc. debate (if he’s even aware of it). I worked with some gay men – most of them you wouldn’t even have known were gay unless you had a strong gaydar (I didn’t) or you knew about their personal lives.

One was very lonely because he just wanted to be in a normal, long-term relationship and didn’t like the gay ‘scene’ at all. The others that I knew were in long-term relationships and later married.

          • GreenAlba November 3, 2022 at 2:50 pm #

One thing I agree with JHK about is that they should have stopped at civil partnerships. My more recent wedding was a civil wedding, which isn’t much different from a civil partnership really, so I don’t know why civil partnerships weren’t enough – I expect the continued pressure was part of ‘the agenda’ that many gay people possibly didn’t even care about until the idea of gay marriage was put in front of them as something they absolutely should have or else ‘discrimination’.

On the other hand, I do remember a pair of heterosexual fruitloops who started a great fuss about not being able to have a civil partnership instead of a wedding just because they weren’t gay. There are always exhibitionists (they lost their case).

          • GreenAlba November 3, 2022 at 2:57 pm #

Perhaps I should rephrase that as they ‘possibly’ should have stopped at civil partnerships. It doesn’t make much sense to say a civil partnership is much the same as a civil wedding and then say gay people can’t have one of them. I don’t know much about civil partnerships – did they involve ceremonies? I don’t remember. I see no reason why gay couples should be deprived of a celebration of their new status, as a public act, with their friends and family.

          • Paula D November 3, 2022 at 4:42 pm #

I’m not an expert, but I think that the civil partnership was simply registering with the state without the benefits that married couples get.

For instance, I worked with a gay man who was with his partner for over 40 years, but the hospital refused to allow him to put his partner on his insurance.

Then his partner got very ill and ran up an enormous hospital bill. Guess what? All of a sudden the hospital knew exactly who to go after to pay the bill.
After all, the gay man had worked for them for over 40 years also.
            That is not right.

  62. cowbell81 October 31, 2022 at 5:08 pm #

My jaw dropped on this one, talk about common sense:

“Wind farm set to be destroyed and converted into coal mine”

A wind farm in Germany is set to be destroyed to make room for the expansion of a coal mine.

German energy company RWE is defending its decision to expand its Garzweiler coal mine in and around the small town of Lutzerath, despite it appearing to be “paradoxical.”

“We realize this comes across as paradoxical,” RWE spokesman Guido Steffen said in a statement to Fox Business. “But that is as matters stand.”

One of the Keyenberg wind farm’s high turbines was reportedly taken down last week. Two other turbines are set to be dismantled next year, with the remaining five to come down by the end of 2023.

    • Night Owl October 31, 2022 at 5:41 pm #

There is no choice. Wind energy insufficient for the energy required, and despite the WEFers doing their best to use green energy as a Trojan horse to take over societies, they know that they need to lay the trap in such a manner that the people do not know it is a trap.

If rolling blackouts become the norm, Germans will not stand for it, and the green agenda cannot continue.

Elsewhere in the real world, China has completely dispensed with any notion of green energy and is putting up new coal-fired plants at a relentless pace.

The question is how much longer will the current WEF controlled Western governments exist?

      • Islander October 31, 2022 at 6:06 pm #

Some key points from a story at

“The turbines were in operation since 2001, and government subsidies **have expired**.”

“Garzweiler’s annual production is 25 million tonnes, according to RWE. It estimated that lignite reserves in the area could last until 2045. The fuel is mostly supplied to the nearby Neurat thermal power plant.”

OK, makes sense. Good to go until 2045.
I’ll be dead by then, so no worries.

“The population from several municipalities in the area west of Cologne had to be relocated due to the Grazweiler mine expansion. In addition to the location of the wind farm, RWE is taking an area in and around the small town of Lützerath. It will be completely evicted and demolished.”

I don’t live there, so who cares? Evidently, no one, even though the new policy is “temporary, a whole nother town will be sacrificed.

“The decision to demolish Lützerath was made in accordance with the country’s new coal policy to temporarily increase the use of lignite for electricity production during the energy crisis, Clean Energy Wire reported.”

It looks like a cute little town, but only about 54 people live there:

Maybe they will Build it Back Better once the temporary problem of how to rely on renewable energy has been solved.

        • Islander October 31, 2022 at 6:07 pm #

The comments at that story actually show a nice spectrum of intelligent thought about this situation.

          “…govt. subsidies have expired.”

        • Night Owl November 1, 2022 at 5:10 am #

They have been doing this for decades. While unfortunate, it is what is required in order to access sources of energy.

Many of the mines are turned into “Baggerseen,” which are a nice addition to the otherwise boring landscape in NRW.

        Very good question, Night Owl.

My answer starts with a question: Think about the last “election.” Does anyone in the US think we can vote our way out of this? WEF controlled Western governments will exist (to enslave the subjects) until they are removed.

        • Night Owl November 1, 2022 at 5:07 am #

You cannot, because the system is the enemy, and it when it reinvents itself/is “built back better” in the form of the New Normal, it will be in a form you would never accept — total digital tyranny, geofencing, programmable digital currency, etc.

This is why a parallel society is the answer. Decoupling from the system through the creation of new currencies (crypto has a place here), local networks for food, medical care, etc., and the development of a new system of governance through common law.

People are already hard at work on this sort of thing. If you ever took a gander at the Great Reset docs on the WEF site, you would see just how all-encompassing the takeover is supposed to be.

Luckily, they have partially failed with using the phony Covid-19 to bring about the ID system they require, but they will continue to chip away at things until they get there.

That is why we must accept and understand what is going on now, and put barriers in place.

Thankfully, this is starting to happen.

Wind turbines that took huge fossil fuel inputs to make and probably generated less power in their lifetime than that which would have resulted from burning them at source. Notwithstanding the disposal problems.

      • Night Owl October 31, 2022 at 7:15 pm #

Those turbines are also powered in part by fossil fuels. That is, they cannot operate without a separate source of electricity.

I would love to see what the true return is.

    DePape was an illegal immigrant?

David DePape reportedly grew up in Powell River, British Columbia, and, according to CNN, “left Canada about 20 years ago to pursue a relationship that brought him to California.”

As long as he crossed the border at a port of entry and presented himself for inspection, there is nothing illegal about a Canadian visiting the United States. But it can only be a visit. Canadians are only allowed to stay in the U.S. for a maximum of six months before they have to apply for an extension. Even then the maximum extension is only for another six months. Then you have to go back to Canada.

That means that after the first year he was in the U.S., DePape would have become an illegal immigrant. It is possible that he had an American parent, married a U.S. citizen at some point, or pursued naturalization through some other path. But so far, no such thing has been reported.

As an illegal immigrant, it would have been impossible for DePape to secure a legal job, which only leads to more questions. For example, how was he able to afford to live in a home in Richmond, California, just north of Berkeley?

    Hello JHK Admin,
“My assessment of this bizarre episode as follows:”

Can we agree that the confession of the perp undermines your vision (and those who share it) of what happened?

The thing that surprises me is that you and the many folks who support the unsubstantiated claims you have put forward don’t actually embrace the man who wanted to kneecap Nancy Pelosi. You seem to completely ignore that possibility and I do not understand why. After all, you have made it clear that we are moving into a time of strife when “men will have to show themselves to be men by acting in an “appropriate manner” when the time is right.” These are not your exact words but this is the sentiment that I read in one of your mini-essays that you posted a while ago.

Signing DePape as a sexual deviant aberration, though I understand why, is an attempt at painting his failure in a manner that might be more comforting to those on the Right. His confessed actions though are consistent with those who believe that the law and society will not avenge or protect the interests of those who feel the 2020 election was stolen; that QAnon is right, that there are vast Deep State conspiracies that only the former President can save us from…. I think of DePape as an evanescent expression of a sentiment that you and others are pushing and that will come roaring to the front soon enough. If we live in lawless times with lawless rulers who sow chaos and ruin, then, DePape’s actions are a call to arms! To action, by real men.

Rather than think of him as part of a lover’s quarrel, you should embrace what he wanted to do (as he said in his confession), as it is in line with the thinking of many here, including you. “Where’s Nancy?” Yes, where is she? He is the future that you see and report on, JHK Admin. Do not diminish him for his desire to try and bring it about even if it was in an incompetent manner. The one thing that folks on the Rght could do is cut him some slack. I get it, he wasn’t successful in his task; America does not reward failure and incompetence. But something like him, a more competent and pitiless him; now, that is the beast that you can acclaim as it slouches towards Bethlehem to be born.

No comparison. Dem Governors of Minnesota, Oregon, Washington, & California, as well as lefty Mayors of NYC, Chicago, Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, & LA, condoning and even encouraging BLM & Antifa mobs into acts of looting, mayhem & arson … and none other than Heels Up Harris — future VP — flying into Minneapolis to personally egg on the rabble to further acts of destruction. Apparently you forgot all about Sen Rand Paul being assaulted on the streets of DC by BLM cadre, and the threats on Supreme Court judges over the abortion decision. You are right BackRowHeckler,
There is “no comparison.” If by “no comparison,” you are going to IGNORE what the folks on the Right, including the former President and Republican members of Congress have been saying about those whose policies they disagree with. Calls for violence on the Left. Sure. Let us repudiate those! But if it is on the Right–Just call out pro-defensively that that the Left are meanies… That is a DISCONNECT, BackRowHowler–your disconnect. You have the writer of this blog unsubtly suggesting at an earlier juncture that (paraphrasing) “men will have to be ready to do what real men have gotta do…” It also doesn’t help your case that even as “incidents from the left are on the rise, political violence still comes overwhelmingly from the right, whether one looks at the Global Terrorism Database, FBI statistics, or other government or independent counts.” It doesn’t help your case to ignore the obvious.

          @ hustled enough:

Um…. Depape’s “confession” leaves many things unexplained. One of them is that there was no sign of forced entry, and no security alarms were tripped. It does not explain why Depape was in his underwear. It does not explain why we have seen no security camera footage, nor any footage from police body cams.

          The “confession” lacks plausibility.

The theory that best explains all the details of the incident is that Depape is a male prostitute who came to the house at Paul Pelosi’s invitation.

You choose to believe the “confession” because it suits you, and not because the story makes sense or holds up.

          • Anthea November 1, 2022 at 8:31 am #

My bet is that security camera footage showing Depape’s arrival at the residence would clear up most questions. There are several ways he could have arrived:

            1. He arrived in a car with Paul Pelosi.
            2. He arrived in a taxicab and was let into the house.
            3. He arrived on foot–most likely after getting out of a cab a couple of blocks away–and was let into the house.

If 3, several neighbors should have security camera footage of Depape walking to the Pelosi residence. If Depape walked any distance at all, he should have encoutered neighborhood security personnel. But perhaps he was a familiar face and a frequent guest of Paul Pelosi.

Just as an aside, have you ever been in a neighborhood with heavy private security presence at night? What you will see is at least one big, burly uniformed guy on foot per block, just kind of walking around, very visibly watching the street. They are probably armed, but I didn’t get close enough to them to be able to tell. The neighborhood’s private security force should have some knowledge of the circumstances of Depape’s arrival. Someone should ask them.

There is a fourth possibility, that being that Depape had been staying at the Pelosi residence for some undermined length of time. In that case, there should be evidence that he was staying there.

There was no forced entry, Ergo, Paul (or the maid or home security personnal) let Depape into the house–or Depape had been staying there. That alone blows the whole “confession” out of the water.

Awesome, something we can sink our teeth into, Anthea–a claim.

            “The “confession: lacks plausibility.”

If by “making sense” you are talking about JHK Admin’s convoluted tale of what went down based on an admitted initial misreporting of what happened, then go for it. If you want to call the police liars for saying there was broken glass from a break in, and I am guessing an internal alarm going off to alert police as to a break in, which they then responded to–have at it.

At what point would you be willing to acknowledge the possibility that your belief in your sources is ill placed. If they have video of Pelosi inviting DePape into the house–then you may have something. But, if DePape is of a disordered mind, which appears to be the case, why are you expecting Nudist 2018 to be nicely dressed?

And yes, I will take the “confession” as is, until actual real evidence in support of your claim is produced. I am guessing we will be waiting a long time for that to emerge, and I am not holding my breath. Prediction: this will fade and in the absence of any corroborating evidence to support your position (or JHK Admin’s for that matter), that fading will pale to an eventual “See!!! Pelosi invited a prostitute into his house!!! Everyone knows it….!!!!” that people on the Right will believe in an evidence free way that seems to be the the norm these days.

        • hustled enough November 2, 2022 at 3:53 pm #

          Hi MaryQueen,
I listened–in a previous thread–as you defended yourself against RedNeckLiberals’ claim that you were mouthing a bunch of talking points. You made it very clear that you did your own research, listened to a variety of sources, and made up your own mind about things.

And here you are calling the MSM reporting on what the Police FOUND… what? Unreliable? Why? Because the blogs you listen to/read reported inaccurate initial information which got turned into a narrative you liked? And you liked it because it comported with what you hope is the truth? And that hope was that PP got what he deserved because of his sexual proclivities gone wrong rather than accept the possibility that the perp was drawn to act in the manner he did because he listens to politicians spewing QAnon, election stealing, vilify and call for violence against opponents they don’t like as a danger to democracy nonsense? I understand why folks on the Right are casting around for anything to take the spotlight on that last question, because the “law and order” cred on the Right gets shredded when people on the Right are advocating violence against elected officials. And do you update your model of reality when other information comes to light that does not support your preferred narrative? Nope, you just tell the person that presents this update that they are “a mouthpiece for the MSM.”

Awesome. There is always a possibility of an eventual gotcha from this that supports your (and others on the Right) point of view (and if so, I will update my understanding of reality to take that into account), but the longer this story goes on, the less likely that looks. At what point will you say–we got this wrong? I have no expectation that JHK Admin will ever do this (he can’t acknowledge that a claim of only 5000 dead Russians in the Ukraine War he advances is obvious Russian propaganda). But, what about you, given the proud claims you made to RedNeckLiberal about your intellectual independence?

Ha! I see the Amazon Post still has “Democracy Dies in Darkness” in the mast head. They really mean “Killing the Republic in Broad Daylight”. (It’s the old “Luciferian double speak” thing).

Not me but I still see plenty of fools wearing them.

      • Islander November 1, 2022 at 12:06 pm #

        I am still seeing this.

Plus the continuation of hte “official” disinfo at the Post Office, contra the new pronouncments of our leaders concerning masks’ uselessness and jabs’ pointlessness.

BTW, I was very happy to see that I am not the only one who noted and often quoted Dr. Michael Osterholm’s pronouncement after the CDC mask guidance of April 2020 that there was ZERO scientific evidence for any efficacy of masks to halt the spread of respiratory diseases spread by aerosols.

Now, Jeff Tucker at the Brownstone institute has quoted Osterholm’s very statement to that effect. Ost came out a couple of months later with a weasely statement that undercut his previous straightforward “naive” statement.

Whenever i quoted the earlier statement I got the July statement thrown in my face. .

        Here is the BI graf:
“At the time the CDC issued their April 3, 2020 recommendation that the general population wear cloth face coverings when in public, Michael Osterholm, a prominent infectious disease expert and former interim CDC director said, “Never before in my 45-year career have I seen such a far-reaching public recommendation issued by a governmental agency without a single source of data or information to support it. This is an extremely worrisome precedent of implementing policies not based on science-based data.””

“Science” never managed to come up with any new data to support maskwearing and certainly not mandated masking.

  79. Jarek November 1, 2022 at 1:01 am #

    Tucker asked:

What could possibly be the justification for” all the hyper-aggressive moves by the US and its minions which could well end in nuclear war?

“We’ve wondered. Anyone who’s paying attention has had to have wondered that. Well, this week, Congressman Jamie Raskin of Maryland, of Bethesda, answered that question. Russia is an orthodox Christian country with traditional social values and for that reason, it must be destroyed, no matter what the cost to us. This is not a conventional war. This is a jihad. Jamie Raskin said that out loud, but many in Washington agree with him in both parties. They would like to see World War Trans immediately….”

    Boyd Cathey, excerpted from Unz.com:

That’s it; reread Raskin’s statement again. At base it comes down to a major power, a “sign of contradiction,” refusing to go along with the demonic globalization and secularization of the world by those who, consciously or not, are acting as advance units for the Antichrist. It is one thing when a minor irritant—Hungary, let’s say—refuses to go along with the world global reset, but quite another when Russia doesn’t. Accordingly, it must be crushed; Ukraine and its suffering population are only a battered stepping-stone in that open-ended process.

As Feodor Dostoevsky saw frighteningly more than one-hundred and fifty years ago, that actual war was unleashed by Caiaphas and his minions in Biblical Times, it is the age-old conflict between the forces of Evil and those of Good.

Jarek: Orthodoxy has the honor of being the main Church of the End Times, in its many national branches. At least some are still green and bearing fruit.

On the worldly level, White Nationalism has been right about everything.

Obviously those fighting for this Demonic Power have nothing to do with German National Socialism. Try to look deeper than uniforms, you silly focks.

Kudos to Tucker – he has come far. And all while at the highest levels of “conservative” journalism. The guy is strong to withstand the kind of pressure he must have faced to sell out.

    • tucsonspur November 1, 2022 at 6:11 am #

Filofey said, “Two Romes have fallen. The third stands. (Moscow). There will be no fourth.”

Dostoevsky said, “Beauty will save the world.” That is, the beauty of the church, the beauty of the noble soul and spirit.

I see this as a possibility if religions could only shed their barbarism, their bigotry, their quest for power, and their superstitions. Then, if so, let the ‘third’ stand against the secular hordes.

But I doubt if ‘Jesus’ can save the world.

On the other hand, a deep reverence for nature, aesthetic beauty, harmony, and spirituality just might do it. So, Dostoevsky was at least partly correct.

      • Mick November 1, 2022 at 9:53 am #

It’s not Jesus’ world to save. That is, the real Jesus. He said more than once that “I am not of this world”. He made it pretty clear whose it is. And of that character He said, “He has nothing in me”. Meaning, I am not his.

To go even further Jesus said, “I have not come to judge the world, but the ruler of it has been judged”.

Modern day Christians make the mistake of thinking that this world must be saved, and can be saved. No, as a Christian one has the opportunity to accept the Ransom that has been paid and then leave this world. “I prepare a place for you”. (And it ain’t here). The ruler/archon, his minions, both seen and unseen, will ultimately go down in flames with it.

Remember tusc, the real “gardens” are above. All beauty here is just a reflection. This is a dark world. See that beautiful lawn? Don’t look to close for inside that jungle little beasts (insects) hunt other insects in order to kill and eat them.

The forests that we love so much? They are just big lawns were bigger creatures do the same.

You are still at the aesthetic level – the moral is higher as Kierkegaard said. And the spiritual is higher still.

See below. John has completely repented, as has Bill in a less dramatic fashion. You are the last Vax holdout here.

      • Soul Forensics November 1, 2022 at 3:08 pm #

“Beauty is truth; truth beauty.” — Keats.

“Poetry is both instruction and delight.” — Horace

The (lower) things of this world, beautiful or not, are suffused with the higher, but the higher is not affected by them.

Insects hunting and eating other insects are also an aesthetic display. (Aestheticism is not solely coterminous with beauty.)

Kierkegaard’s moral optimism is based on hope and faith, hardly the realm of different levels of vertical realization (though faith is needed to some extent).

The world is dark. It is also light. That discussion is on the relative level, and ultimately unimportant. (Different people will have different perspectives on the light/dark duality, based on their realization.) But there is a higher light, and that light is not separate from this world, and our life in it.

        • tucsonspur November 1, 2022 at 8:31 pm #

          Wonderful riposte.

      • Jarek November 1, 2022 at 6:01 pm #

Well yes, it’s easy to be philosophical about insects and fish. That’s why I brought up our closer relations. The children in an elementary class took care of wounded bird for months, nursing it back to health. The big day came and went out to release it: a hawk swooped down and took the bird right in front of the children.

This world is dark indeed that such things are the way here. We need to shield our children from seeing too much too soon.

      a few observations:

As far as I know, Orthodoxy hasn’t been promoting the Western medicine’s clot shots as the Pope has and as other Western Church leaders have. There’s an article about this on Lew Rockwell’s site. Quoting:

“Faith leaders believed those who’ve made careers out of lying. That’s how we can unequivocally say that faith leaders around the world have utterly failed in their duty to the flocks they shepherd — and in their interpretation of the Bible. And why? Because they believed the lies of people who’ve made careers out of lying — which, by the way, is a hallmark of Satan himself, according to the Bible.”

“So, in closing, it’s important to realize that many churches are actively collaborating with government on health programs that may or may not be in your best interest. And the fact that your faith leader is promoting a health intervention such as the COVID shot does not mean he or she has actually researched the issue before coming to a conclusion. In many if not most cases, they’re simply parroting the narrative they’ve been brainwashed to promote.

It’s also possible that faith-based organizations are given financial incentives to collaborate with federal health authorities, although I have no evidence of this at the moment. Either way, when it comes to COVID-19, this collaborative effort to promote a one-sided message has had devastating consequences, as faith leaders around the U.S. have led their flocks to proverbial slaughter.”

As far as I can tell, the Western Church began failing a thousand years ago when they (the West) decided there was to be a pope who was to rule over *all* the Church. The decision was made to have a pyramid shaped management system with only one man – the pope – to rule at the very top of it all. The pope didn’t like being technically under the authority of the Eastern Emperor, so the West came up with the idea of having a new Western Roman emperor and a new Roman empire, the so called “Holy Roman Empire.”

Historians joke that it wasn’t Roman (it was German), it wasn’t holy, and it wasn’t a real empire. Not withstanding all that, to this day the crown jewels of the Holy Roman Empire, all that stuff including the crown and scepter – still exist and and are still viewed each day by tourists gawking at them in a museum in Vienna. It seems Hitler was fascinated with those crown jewels and one of the very first things he did after taking Austria was to seize the regalia of the First Reich and move them north to Nuremberg where they were put in a new display for the public to gawk at. Apparently Hitler’s idea was whoever “owned” those crown jewels was also the legitimate ruler of the latest and third incarnation of the German Empire, the Third Reich. After bombs were falling everywhere, the imperial German regalia was instead hidden deep underground in an air conditioned bunker in Nuremberg, soon to be found by the Allies after war’s end. Now that stuff is all back in Vienna, the city Hitler called home as a very poor young man and struggling wannabe artist.

At the very beginning, the Eastern Orthodox Church was never fooled by the emergence of a new western “Roman” emperor supposedly under the pope’s authority. Instead, after the Great Schism, the Western Church became so corrupt that the Reformation was a natural consequence, and the Western Church began its collapse and transformation into thousands of different squabbling, ineffective, and delusional churches each with their own interpretations and fights over what the Bible means or is saying. The hopelessly fractured Western Church can’t even understand its own religious books anymore, and all it does is promote blind obedience to authorities and promoting delusional religious bullshit like if you give a preacher a dollar, God is going to give you up to a hundred dollars in return. And not only that, the clot shots are good for you and that if Jesus were here right now, He’d be in line getting His booster shots.

      • Anthea November 1, 2022 at 9:32 am #

They used to have the Crown Jewels of Austria displayed in Bergdorf’s window on West 57th Street in NYC, back in the 70s. Maybe those were replicas. Surely I’m not the only one who remembers this.

        • Woodchuck November 1, 2022 at 2:51 pm #

There’s a fake set of crown jewels out there. Story I read is that a US soldier got his hands on it and managed to get the items back to the US after war’s end. Later he tried selling the regalia, and eventually the authorities contacted him and confiscated his collection. They found that what he had stolen was fake, yet such a good and convincing fake that it was obvious whoever the Nazis were that made the fake collection had the real thing right in front of them to make exact copies of. Could very well be that this fake was on display to attract attention to the store window and get people to stop. Fake or real, it’s certainly a work of art and craftsmanship, some real eye candy there it seems.

It would be useless for anyone to steal the real stuff – no price could be placed on historical artifacts like that. You couldn’t sell it for what it was worth as a collector’s item. The thief would have to take it all apart and melt down the gold and silver, remove the precious stones.and then sell the bits piecemeal.

      • Jarek November 1, 2022 at 12:31 pm #

Yes, the Spear of Destiny is back at the museum – awaiting the next Hitler to come and take it.

He used to stare at it for hours in the case.

I do agree that Putin’s embrace of the Orthodox church greatly upsets the globalists, but I think what upsets them even more is that he slammed the window shut on their plans to loot Russia’s resources in the 1990s. They had a good thing going with the drunken Boris Yeltsin, but as always drunks prove to be unstable and hard to totally control. When he saw he had to leave the Kremlin he picked Putin to replace him. Then Vlad looked at the greedy criminal globalists and said, “Nyet!!” Or, “Go on….git!”

They’ve been looking for a way to bring Putin down for over 20 years now in order to resume the program of looting and stealing Russia’s vast resources. Going back to traditional values has been like rubbing salt in the wound. It’s made them crazy.

It sickens and angers me that most Americans and Westerners have bought the phony BS on how this war started. They don’t know that this war actually started in 2014. Most of you here know this. I see that there are a few pablum pukers and purveyors who do not. Or, they love the globalist agenda themselves.

      • Paula D November 1, 2022 at 1:51 pm #

Indeed. How can Americans not notice that the plan is to destroy and divide Russia in order to loot their resources?

Instead they are told that the trannies in Russia are oppressed and that is enough reason to start WW3.

It’s actually somewhat difficult to tell the difference between this story and a terrifying Halloween story. They wanted it to be a cautionary tale about the dangers of an encroaching neo fascist rightwing reign of terror. If they can get to people like them then what will they do to you? But it’s not spinnable at this point. Not at scale.

No. It appears to be yet another horrifying reminder and cautionary tale that those who attain unto such power, prestige, and wealth can easily and quickly turn you into collateral damage if it offers any hope for them to keep their hold on that untarnished power, prestige, and wealth. It seems to be a reoccurring theme with the current regime. The hero of the story, if there is one, can break the nightmare that is the cycle. Who or what is the hero?

      Here’s Raskin’s actual statement:

“Moscow right now is a hub of corrupt tyranny, censorship, authoritarian repression, police violence, propaganda, government lies and disinformation, and planning for war crimes. It is a world center of antifeminist, antigay, anti-trans hatred, as well as the homeland of replacement theory for export. In supporting Ukraine, we are opposing these fascist views, and supporting the urgent principles of democratic pluralism.”

Was Tucker being hyperbolic about a jihad against Christianity – though the above is bad enough? Maybe but maybe not! What does Raskin mean by “replacement theory”? Is this code for traditional Christianity? That’s what Christian Zionists call Christians who reject the idea that the Jews are still the chosen people.

      • SoftStarLight November 2, 2022 at 1:53 am #

I don’t really think jihad is a hyperbolic term in this instance. I believe in Raskin’s mind that replacement theory is a reference to the idea of the Great Replacement in terms of whites being replaced with other populations within their own countries and territories. It appears he believes Russia is exporting this theory to other countries. Russia is a white majority, Orthodox Christian country and this is the exact opposite of “democratic pluralism” which means a hodge podge of ethnicities and religions with no majority grouping one way or another. And of course Christianity is a major problem for globalists too.

        • Paula D November 2, 2022 at 12:21 pm #

Except that the Russian Federation has all kinds of ethnicities and religions, as Putin pointed out in his last speech.
Look at Shoigui. Look at the Chechens.
I read about an ethnic Russian who is an Orthodox Christian in Mariupol who heard the cries of :allah akbar” in the street last April and said “Thank God! The Russians are here!”

Raskin is an idiot to claim that Russia talks about the replacement theory. That is an American and European phenomenon.

          • Jarek November 2, 2022 at 12:29 pm #

Well that’s where his speech is simply ridiculous. What follows “Allahu Akbar” for Christians is usually slaughter.

Go watch the Coptic Christians having their throats cut by ISIS if you need a review.

          • Paula D November 2, 2022 at 4:18 pm #

Well, the citizens of Mariupol had been subjected to slaughter by the nazis for 8 years, so of course they were thrilled to be rescued by the Chechens.

          • Jarek November 3, 2022 at 1:11 pm #

The Copts were persecuted by the Orthodox Church and were happy for the Muslim victory in Egypt – for a very short time.

        • Jarek November 2, 2022 at 12:33 pm #

Paula’s response if valid as far as it goes. Politically, Russia is committed to diversity – to an insane degree in my opinion. That’s why White Nationalists hate Putin and why he hates them.

But of course maybe Raskin doesn’t know this or he is pretending not to know it. So you may be right.

    There was no pandemic.

Excess mortality up only after rollout.

    • GreenAlba November 1, 2022 at 7:30 am #

Will they have a royal commission though? Here in theatre land, there is an official ‘Covid 19 enquiry’ going on, allegedly into all aspects of the covid response. Calls have been made to have a separate enquiry into the safety and efficacy of the ‘vaccines’ and they simply refused to have a separate enquiry, as there apparently exist no grounds for one. The official response to vaxx deaths on the yellow card system is that they prove nothing. Post mortems are not being done (except in rare cases like Dr Aseem Malhotra’s extremely fit and healthy father, and his 9-month report is being shelved and filed under ‘misinformation’ and ‘conspiracy theories’.

The Covid 19 enquiry will warble on for some considerable time and conclude that there was lack of pandemic preparation, incompetence, wasted money/backhanders to friends using taxpayers’ money for dodgy PPE contracts, and some ‘partygate’-type offences by politicians. That will be it. And we’re paying for it. Again.

In that Malcolm Roberts clip (more power to his elbow) there are about half a dozen MPs present. When Sir Chrisopher Chope spoke at Westminster about the need for proper compensation for the vaxx injured and bereaved, again there were half a dozen MPs present. And, shamefully, there was a parliamentary meeting held (as a result of a public petition on the gov.uk website, with MPs with vaxx injured and bereaved who came from all over the country and only 5 MPs bothered to attend, with one of them doing a semi-coherent hit job on the concept of vaxx injury.

      • Paula D November 1, 2022 at 11:21 am #

Any ”investigations” will conclude that any problem with the ”response” was caused by the powers that be not having enough power.
The recommendations will be focused on setting up a bureaucracy devoted to ”pandemic response” which will be given unlimited powers to control society when the next announced pandemic arrives.
        And it will.

More like. Suppressed or misoriented immune systems that need to be tolerated for life with autoimmune and blood clot problems at the forefront. All this to prevent infection? No wait, all this to avoid the hospitalization, intubation and death syndromes? No wait, maybe that is viral evolution. All to avoid dying from the crud outright, a .1% chance.

Yeah, poisoned for life, especially now that reverse transcriptase has been shown to occur in liver cells allowing DNA implantation causing the cells to produce S proteins forever.

Spoken by someone stupid enough to get the initial shots and who is living with the results, mild for me, so far. Not so with my daughter.

“All to avoid dying from the crud outright, a .1% chance.”

0.067% in fact. And that is (a) counting zillions of deaths as covid deaths which weren’t and (b) in the context of withholding early treatment, causing death by medical malfeasance.

If those two factors were corrected, there would be so many zeros after the decimal point, it would be embarrassing.

Good luck to your daughter. If only there were someone to sue.

As for the drones still double masking and demanding we go back to 2020 when they were locking families out of supermarkets, they deserve everything that is coming to them.

Even worse are those who now try to claim they did not know where the trains were going.

You are there right now, denying overpopulation and resource depletion.

Most people don’t age like fine wine I’m afraid but rather more like fruit. You were a wiser man in your earlier years.

          • Night Owl November 1, 2022 at 6:56 pm #

And yet you cannot prove overpopulation.

This is a difficult time for you.

            I understand.

          • Jarek November 2, 2022 at 12:38 pm #

Prove the basic postulates: Like a=a and a+b=b+a. They are things that are obvious to all cogent individuals; the basis by which other things are proven. But to prove them to someone who is skeptical? Not so easy. Bertrand Russell wrote a five hundred page book trying to do so.

How do you prove water to a fish? Try it again: Go for a drive in a big city. It’s are too busy and thus dangerous and difficult to find parking too.

          • Night Owl November 2, 2022 at 5:06 pm #

They are so obvious that you cannot prove them.

            Makes sense, bro.

I don’t know about anyone else but I’ll sleep better knowing that SloJoe is deploying B-52’s to OZ. That outta give XI some sleepless nights. The bear wasn’t bad enough. Now we fuck with the dragon. The BUFF went into service in 1955 and the last one rolled off the line in 1962 over 60 years ago. Hypersonic missiles haha, satellite warfare, gimme a break, drone warfare,so last year. We’ve got rainbow warriors in pregnant flightsuits. Bring it on!

    • JohnAZ November 1, 2022 at 10:54 am #

Two stealth weapons cancel out all the rest. They rely on nukes however.

Fleet ballistic Subs andB2 bombers. Last resort weaponry but there all the same, overshadowing everything else.

    • Woodchuck November 1, 2022 at 12:00 pm #

Well, what does Russia have that is an answer to the B-52?

Well, she’s got a lot of TU 22M’s. These are maybe a match for the USA’s various B1’s. The TU-22M’s are supersonic strategic bombers with swept back variable geometry wings. They were first used by the Soviets as launch platforms for anti-ship missiles, if Wikipedia and other sources are correct.

But Russia has way more than a match for the ancient B-52, and that’s the TU-160. More than twice as fast as the B-52 and heavier. It carries more weapons than the B-52 can, and the Russians used it in the recent Syrian civil war to drop some cans of exploding whup ass on ISIS. A night takeoff of a TU-160 is beyond spectacular. A few years back a couple of them landed in South Africa on a direct flight visit from Russia, thanks to mid air refueling. They had quite an audience of thrilled South Africans enjoying the night afterburner takeoff show. It looks and sounds more like a rocket launch according to some of the comments on you tube.

Your posts are liberal nonsense with no actual content. Bullshit and name calling, you do make a good mouthpiece for the Blue treat.

Why can’t you Libs come up with some substance in your posts?

Hmmm, know the answer to that, there is no substance to the Left, as we observe every platform they rely on is failing.

The excuses they are coming up with, like the NY Governor saying the crime problem is just GOP misinformation, are hilarious.

Why bother? No amount of evidence that is easily marshaled would convince you and the freaks that seem to live here and have no life otherwise. Like I said, we could place a wager as to which party or platform actually attempts to improve American’s lives and you’d lose your life. But, the psychos that occupy space here are immune to facts.

      • RocketDoc November 2, 2022 at 8:55 pm #

You are channeling “My Cousin Vinny”…

This story is an almost perfect litmus test of whatever the true story is. How did the police get there before the attack? Was Mr. Pelosi asleep in his secure bed and savaged by a stranger? How did the assailant get to the scene? Is Mr. Pelosi well known in the gay community? Does the perp have a story that anyone would write up? Do the neighbors know anything? If you are going to risk a lifetime in jail, would you at least want to know whether the target for knee capping was actually at home?

I read The NY Times lengthy story on this incident and it seemed a giant dot plot to be filled in later.

Re: the changing of a wind farm energy source to a coal mine.

No s&$t? This really shows the stupidity of politicians, or the deviousness of PTB folks.

But more than anything else, it really degrades the intelligence of global Joe Everyman, who can obviously been led around by the nose by the afore mentioned pols.

People, the whole anti FF movement is teetering now. All the nightmare scenarios are coming true about the changes to non FF energy sources.

To you AGW types, what exactly did you expect? Oil holds magnitudes of order more energy than the alternatives. It is relatively stable, easy to transport and store, it currently powers 99+% of transportation options, it is the only long distance alternative whether by air, road or rail.

Once again, there are not enough rare earths available to make enough cars, airplanes carrying passenger loads will never be electrified, railroads need much more profit to be electrified coast to coast. The AGW dream is Mission Impossible.

CFNers, dust off your TLE or Too Much Magic and read about why conversion to wind, solar, hydrogen, electricity is impossible.

Think though, by 2050 or so, it becomes a moot point. If we do not have a solution to FF replacement, we will be headed back to horsey led 1800s. JHK has said that it is almost inevitable, and ALL attempts to disprove his prophesy have ended up failures.

Everyone is watching the economy now, here and global, wondering what is going on. Copies of TLE need to be sent to all global decision makers and then someone needs to slap them silly.

The stories are going to become more ludicrous with time as all the Mission Impossible folks keep wiping eggs off their faces.

Are we just going to react to the failures that are coming or start adapting to the new world? My guess is the former and adaptation will just be a result.

The economy is just going to get worse as the resources get scarcer, regardless of which model is run. The only certainty is that by 2050, the world will lose the choice of energy source. That has already started and will degrade humanity, it already is.

Iraq 1 &2 were oil wars, heck so was WW2. Ukraine is an oil and food war. It is the first BRICS – WEF war, the first of many? Right now, the West is losing, this winter will change everything, all the FF producers are alienated towards BRICS right now. All the good work Trump did with foreign policy has been destroyed by Biden and the Russia, Russia, Russia Dems.

Interesting, if you look at it, the survival of the WEF depends on the whims of the various elements of BRICS. Lulas, the Leftist, just beat Bolsaniro, the Rightist, in Brazil, wonder what that will do?

My money is on BRICS + the Middle East. Watch the power union across Asia form up as the WEF option fades away without oil. The Silk Road will unify Asia and Africa. We cannot even get together to build a High Speed RR in California.

    Well, CFN’rs, a bit of sanity from the Chinese, as reported by this AM’s Situational Report;

CHINA LOCKING DOWN AGAIN AS COVID CASES RISE: COVID-19 cases in mainland China are rapidly increasing at nearly 3000 cases per day, prompting public health officials to call for widespread restrictions on individual movement. Unconfirmed social media reports and video from the British media giant BBC in the Chinese city of Zhengzhou show workers fleeing the Foxconn iPhone factory amid fears of severe COVID-19 restrictions following an outbreak of the disease at China’s largest iPhone factory. Photos showed Foxconn workers climbing fences to escape dormitories and walking in groups along highways in an attempt to return to their homes on foot. A separate BBC report said thousands were trapped in Disneyland Shanghai, unable to leave without showing a recent negative COVID test after Shanghai authorities reported ten COVID cases over the weekend. (AC: The outbreak at the Foxconn facility and other outbreaks across China are causing panic among citizens. The subsequent mass escapes from the factory campus were likely the result of Foxconn’s policy of not providing meals to employees who get sick and cannot work the production line. Food shortages due to harsh COVID restrictions have resulted in harsh criticism of the government, including sporadic civil unrest,

Foxconn’s not feeding those in forced isolation has it’s basis in hard science…. Remember your mother telling you to “Feed a cold…Starve a fever”? Or maybe it was the other way around, I don’t remember….but…science.

    Interesting post by Martin Armstrong,

    All about the Beaufort Gyre.

“Gyre” is also such a great word.

Anyhow, per Armstrong we should know by 2045 whether is it cooling or warming that lies ahead.

    He cites two solid studies:

I am betting on cooling. I would like to place bets in this, as I expect to be still hanging on for dear life in 2045 (my father, who died at 102: “I want to see what happens . . .”), and it would be fun to look forward to raking in a bit on cash on the backs of the “climate advocates” (anyonym of “climate denier”). .

Can’t we set up an online betting shop that lets us place bets on whether it is warming or cooling? Kind of like “The Lady or the Tiger?”

I’d call it Canute’s Climate Casino. Place your bets!

The Climate Canutes, after those who think they can hold back the tides, and the gyres, and influence the earth’s climate and think they know what they are doing and are ordering the rest of us around, can actually put their own money down on their predictions.

I’ll put my money on Armstrong’s prediction (not only his, but also the predictions of a number of upmarket climatologists).

I’m betting on the Beaufort Gyre!

      Make that “antonym.”

    • John001 November 1, 2022 at 2:13 pm #

I’d like to bet on a net worldwide warming by 2045, maybe fairly small though. I hope we have trustworthy measurements to prove or disprove it. I’ll be 92 but hope to be around.

The UK is an extreme anomaly, given the Gulf Stream *and* its extreme cloudiness. It could go either way and I wouldn’t want to bet much on that.

      • Islander November 1, 2022 at 4:22 pm #

I guess you didn’t read the referenced piece.

        I’ll take your bet.

I’ve enjoyed our host’s novels, but I’d be really distressed, and so would many others, if his twice weekly posts were to cease. Do the rest of us a favor, Tom Clark, and just leave if you dislike what’s written here.
