A Theory of the Case

You have been boldly lied-to by them with absolute consistency for years now….

There was Scott Pelley of CBS’s 60-Minutes show on Sunday night — the prime-time slot of the new week — all cued up to run interference for the US State Department (and other Deep State “actors”) in the propaganda war over Ukraine. Let’s be brutally frank and get this out of the way: can you really trust either the US news media or the US government to tell you the truth?

Of course, you can’t. You have been boldly lied-to by them with absolute consistency for years now. Common knowledge, which is common sense’s twin sister, has it that the CIA “owns” The Washington Post, the FBI owns The New York Times, and the State Department owns CBS-News. All are conduits for official narratives. And since the State Department is most of all responsible for the Russian clean-up operation now underway in Ukraine, you can bet that CBS-News is in on the info-grift to protect State, its patron.

What Russia had to clean-up was the long-building after-effects of now Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland’s 2014 engineered Maidan coup against the elected government of President Viktor Yanukovych. The issue of that bygone day was a tug-of-war between the US and Russia, with Ukraine as the flag in the middle of the rope. Russia wanted Ukraine in the orbit of its economic “customs union” and the US was affecting to pull Ukraine into the Eurozone and NATO — or, at least, use Ukraine as a forward base for NATO, in order to antagonize Russia.

Russia has been the all-purpose hobgoblin that every US agency and many political personages turn to when they are caught doing something nefarious. When Hillary Clinton’s email trove was purloined through her poorly-defended illegal home server, Russia was to blame. That fiasco spawned the multi-year RussiaGate operation that bamboozled half the nation and ended up tainting the FBI, the DOJ, the FISA Court, and both the House and Senate Intel committees.

Then, along came Hunter Biden’s laptop, infamously labeled “Russian disinformation” by every retired senior intel spook still drawing a fat pension. The news about the laptop and its lurid contents was strenuously suppressed by every mainstream media company except The New York Post, and its coverage was banished from Facebook and Twitter which so many Americans rely on for news — an obvious and true conspiracy between government, high tech, and the news media.

All this coincided, you understand, with the horror-show official response to Covid-19 coming on the scene at exactly the same time: winter of 2019-2020. By then, half the country had already been groomed into a mass formation psychosis over the RussiaGate narrative that declared President Donald Trump was a stooge for Vladimir Putin… thus, Trump derangement.

There is the possibility that Covid-19 was hauled onstage deliberately to terrorize the American public, confound Mr. Trump, and prevent his reelection in November 2020. Hence, the panicky scramble ever since spring, 2020, among Anthony Fauci, Peter Daszak of the shadowy EcoHealth Alliance, and other public health officials to ward off the suspicion that Covid-19 was created in the Wuhan lab with American sponsorship, and released for the aforesaid purpose of queering the election. Mr. Daszak notoriously put together a paper for the preeminent British medical journal The Lancet, using a roster of medical luminaries to denounce the “lab leak” theory. The Lancet eventually had to withdraw the paper. The Lancet’s reputation will be diminished for years to come, merely one manifestation of medicine’s more general moral collapse and eventual total collapse.

Meanwhile, in the winter of 2020, came impeachment number one of Mr. Trump, provoked by CIA White House mole Eric Ciaramella and his companions-in-sedition Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman of the NSC, and Intel Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson. At issue, you recall, was Mr. Trump’s phone call with Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zylenskyy, inquiring about rumored grifting operations among the Bidens in that foreign land.  Managing Ukraine, you remember, was in Veep “Joe Biden’s” assigned portfolio of duties. The impeachment segued seamlessly into the Covid panic, distracting the public’s attention from the issues behind the impeachment, namely: what exactly was the Biden family up to in Ukraine, with crackhead Hunter pulling in millions in walking-around money from the Burisma oil-and-gas company? That turned out to be just the tip of the grift-berg.

Ten days before President Trump declared a national emergency over Covid 19 and the ensuing lock-downs, on March 3, 2020, the Super Tuesday primary was held. Joe Biden trailed badly with support in single-digits. Somehow, he miraculously trounced the rest of the field. The narrative constructed afterward attributed the miracle to a single endorsement from Congressman Jim Clyburn of South Carolina. (Dominion vote-counting machine hijinks, anyone?) Voila: there is your Democratic Party nominee, the former Veep, “Joe Biden,” not altogether sound of mind, compromised by already-revealed foreign influence-peddling, a malleable figure fronting for a Deep State cabal. Special Covid-19 election procedures (mail-in ballots) shooed him straight into the White House (thanks for your “help,” Mark Zuckerberg).

What you have here is an interesting chain of circumstance: Ukraine, 2014, the astounding flop of Hillary… RussiaGate… the mystifying Democratic primary race… the Ukraine-based impeachment… the Covid-19 fiasco (including deadly mRNA vaccines) … the election of “Joe Biden”… and now Ukraine again. The American Deep State is in a heap of deep trouble. It’s impossible anymore to hide its turpitudes. Even The New York Times and the WashPo have been forced to confess that Hunter Biden’s laptop is for-real, including the thousands of incriminating memoranda and emails on it, along with all the selfie-porn and drugging. It’s obvious that the “president” of the US is corrupt and compromised. Doesn’t look too good.

Additionally, the Deep State must now try to hide the emerging attempted mass murder of the US population via the side effects of the Covid-19 “vaccines.” But the information can’t be hidden anymore and is, in fact, bursting out from unexpected places, for instance, from the life-insurance quarterly actuarial reports which show unprecedented “all-causes” deaths and injuries among people under 60-years-old. We know how this happened. On top of the deadly “vaccines,” introduced with falsified trials, the Deep State suppressed early treatment medications (is still at it, in fact), and instead forced protocols with the deadly drug remdesivir. In sum, America’s government has capped years of lying and conniving via high tech and the news media by killing its citizens. Rochelle Walensky & Company are still urging the public to vaxx-up and “boost.” How is that not criminal?

So, Ukraine is back onstage and the Deep State made sure it would be by refusing to rule out Ukraine joining NATO and by arming and subsidizing a large army that has spent eight years shelling and terrorizing the Russian-speaking population of Donbas in eastern Ukraine. Mr. Zelenskyy apparently was led to believe that NATO would come to his rescue, the poor chump, wherever he really is. CBS-News would have you believe that Russia is perpetrating war crimes by bombing hospitals in Ukraine. What they don’t tell you is that the hospitals were turned into fortresses by the Nazi-inflected Azov brigades.

They also would like you to believe that the Russian operation is a flop. That is not so, though it surely was not a cakewalk. What’s left of the Ukraine army (including its Azov brigades) is cut off from communication, out of diesel fuel, out of ammo, out of food, and soon to be shut down altogether. When that happens, Ukraine will not be used to make needless trouble in the world. The sanctions imposed on Russia have successfully destroyed the financial scaffold of the global economy so that an economic collapse of the nation states in Western Civ is a sure thing. The lingering question: will the hardships to come only reinforce America’s mass formation psychosis, or will it compel us to wake up and pay attention to the attempted suicide of our country?

    The difference between the past:
    – Strong minds. With strong ideas. Building things to last. (Few & stronger);

    and the present:
    – Feeble minds. Considering feeble thoughts. Building fleeting things. (Many & weaker).

[From strong to weak. God’s will or human plan: we devolve (; we waive; we defer; we decline.)
That’s why some of us peevishly long for the past, while others cluelessly hope for the future.
‘Longing & Hope’: our favorite resolve softener brand (longing and hope: mere mind softener agents.)]

(Trading the dubious for the certain.)

Learning to tell apart mind’s wants from heart’s needs.

What does the mind want? God only knows.

What does the heart need? To contract & expand within a certain limit. (The Limit is there to prevent the heart from both blowing up and collapsing.)

    Can you understand this?
Above all, can you accept it?

(… and since I’m forced into wanting)
All I want is to want not.

    • sanspeur April 4, 2022 at 11:09 am #

The Lord is my Shepherd, I SHALL NOT WANT…. first step to true thinking.

Try thinking without WANT. WANT messes with your thinking. WANT is the Devils tool… leads to all kinds of SIN.

Think with Thankfulness. Clear and unobstructed.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I SHALL BE THANKFUL for ALL experiences I enjoy and especially those difficult ones that I endure.

Amen. Gratitude, a lost art, glad to see it has not been totally wiped out.

I’m no expert on scripture but I differ with what I presume your definition of WANT is. Your WANT goes something like this: “I WANT a shiny brand-spanking new 1200cc BMW Adventure Bike.”

My version of WANT is: finding myself in the very uncomfortable position of having unfulfilled NEEDS.

In the Christmas Carol, Dickens brings out the two deformed children under the cloak of

Christmas Present, Scrooge, “But I see something strange and not belonging to

yourself, protruding form your skirts. Is it a foot or a claw?

“It might be a claw, for the flesh there is upon it,” was the Spirit’s sorrowful reply. “Look here.

It brought two children, wretched, abject, frightful, hideous, miserable.

They were a boy and a girl. Yellow, meager, ragged, scowling, wolffish; but prostate too, in their humility.

Farther along- this boy is Ignorance, this girl is Want.

Beware them both, and all of their degree, but most of all beware this boy, for on his brow I see written which is Doom, unless the writhing
        be erased.
And so on and so forth.
I read this story every year at Christmas and it always strikes me hard.

Especially these days, since very few know any thing of the famine of 1840 in England and all the ways humans ravage each other in

        Ignorance and Want.
Much to be learned from studying all these old writers and the descriptions of “how it used to be!”

Great article this morning James and thank you again for all you put forth. It must be hard being you with all this knowledge you bring forth.

“The lingering question: will the hardships to come only reinforce America’s mass formation psychosis, or will it compel them to wake up and pay attention to the attempted suicide of our country?”

Gotta be honest, Jim. If they haven’t yet woken up, they’re not going to be of much use to those of us who have, that is, if and when they ever do.

    • Walter B April 4, 2022 at 10:35 am #

I agree lizharmon, they are not going to wake up because they are not asleep – they are dead from the neck up. The best they can ever be is an obstacle to correction.

    • pyrrhus April 4, 2022 at 11:31 am #

I have to agree..that programming and general decline in intelligence have left us with a majority who will believe and do anything authority figures/talking heads tell them to do…Milgram Experiment anyone? If they will administer electric shock torture because someone told them to, they’ll do anything, including vaxxing their poor kids to death…

      • ThorsHammer April 4, 2022 at 3:20 pm #

I have a friend who is a dietary specialist nurse and who’s son is a 16 year old endurance athlete. I recall telling her in 2020 that the tipping point for the sanity of the American people was whether they would gleefully submit their children to gene alteration (AKA mRNA “vaccination”) out of fear of a virus which virtually never affects children. Well, we now know the answer. Her son is now triple jabbed ( and is now 9 times more likely to suffer from myocardial infraction than if he had remained unmolested.)

This morning a new family were moving into the house across the street. All fully masked while outside. And this two years after all the actual scientific studies concluded that masks are totally ineffective against the nano-sized COVID virus molecules, and nearly a year since even the CDC admitted to the fact.

There is no known cure for mass psychosis (AKA brain parasites) apart from death.

A few years back I was delivering a sailboat down from Boston to warmer climes. The voluntary crew were high powered lawyers and property agents– all Jewish. As sometimes will happen in close quarters, the conversation strayed too close to the heart. When I referenced the Milgram experiments in support my contention that Americans are every bit as capable of manning the gas ovens as were their German counterparts they refused to speak to me for the duration of the voyage.

Unfortunately the history of Dr. Mengele and Dr. Fauci proves my point.

        • mrs_saj April 4, 2022 at 5:19 pm #

          Mr. Hammer,

Your post makes me weep, and laugh. You are so right. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve explained that the holes in the mask are sized in a range that averages around 200 micrometers. The covid viruses are sized in a range that averages around 125 nanometers.

“Forget the numbers (200 and 125), I say. A micrometer is 1,000 times larger than a nanometer. You’re screening your front porch with a chain link fence and expecting to keep the mosquitos out!”

They look at me (over their mask) like I’m weird.

          There is no waking up.

There is no changing of minds.

There is no undoing already received jabs.

          There are only consequences.

        • lastman April 4, 2022 at 7:23 pm #

One has to figure that 6 out of every 10 will never wake up. I hope it is 50-50. Plan for the worst, hope for the best.

Once a moneychanger…always one. They know who they are.

Neil Sedaka said it well…”waking up is hard to do.”

          • wokethis April 4, 2022 at 9:39 pm #

Lastman, stop hoping. The research I constantly see suggests that four to six percent of a population is the magic number in order to effect societal change. That’s all you get…

          • lastman April 4, 2022 at 10:45 pm #

woke…I’m in the boat with you. Thanks for reminding me of the real stats nationwide.

I have to say where I’m at it’s 30%, maybe more. Been watching a long time.

But, 4-6% is good…last time it was only 3% and that lasted quite a while…didn’t it?

            Peace to you.

        • Not_GeorgeT April 5, 2022 at 1:56 pm #

In his discussion of the operation of mass formation, Dr. Matthias Desmet offered the way to deal with this fear is to bring along greater fear (totalitarianism).

I think he is correct. The difficulty as I see it is diverting people’s fear away from the unseen ‘virus’ and towards the totalitarian state which has formed and is now in growth stage.

It might be there is a need to experience the totalitarianism for the distinguishing of fears to become a reality.

The tough part about totalitarianism, in this perspective, is how does one get rid of enough of it, or at least put a lid on it for a while, thus allowing fear of it to take hold.

    • hmuller April 4, 2022 at 11:45 am #

I’ll be curious to see the reaction to food shortages and empty shelves later this year. Everyone including Biden has warned the American people. Yet most people I know are oblivious to the problem, perhaps their minds are numb with crisis overload.

      • Kevvia Knack April 4, 2022 at 12:25 pm #

Agree. Food shortages later this year will be a real moment. I’m getting my backyard vegetable garden started now. City of West Hollywood is also reopening it’s community garden sometime soon. Made sure to get my name on the garden list!

        • Ron Anselmo April 4, 2022 at 3:00 pm #

Kevvia – community gardens will become drive-by u-pick-’ems – only exception – no one will have to pay on the way out. It’s a nice thought though.

          • Daddyotis April 4, 2022 at 4:00 pm #

Gotta agree with Ron here. You can be prepped to the nines, but it’s all useless when things go tits-up unless you have the means to protect your investment.

          • Not_GeorgeT April 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm #

I offered this idea to someone who has a few acres zoned as farm land in an anotherwise suburban setting.

“drive-by u-pick-’ems” was the first issue we discussed. It would be a huge problem.

          • Anthea April 6, 2022 at 7:28 pm #

I’m in a very rural area, and so are my daughter and her husband. My daughter recently told me that someone had cut down and hauled away quite a number of walnut trees. One of the trees was on a property they had recently purchased but had not yet moved into. The others were on an adjacent property (vacant land).

Then she told me that someone had butchered a cow from a nearby pasture and taken the meat. They left the remains of the carcass in the field.

So this type of thing is going on right now to some extent.

        • hmuller April 4, 2022 at 7:45 pm #

A Hollywood Community Garden, what an intriguingly idea. In my mind’s eye I can already see the rupaul rhubarb, sylvester melones, okra winfrey, christian kale, channing potatum, kiwi hermann, elvis parsley, cherry seinfeld, heidi plums, joaquinoa phoenix, and the big boss barackolli obama.

      • Walter B April 4, 2022 at 1:00 pm #

Not oblivious, in denial, it’s what they do. I have attended numerous training sessions given by our county prosecutor’s office on mass casualty incidents and whenever and wherever they happen, the first thing out of everyone’s mouth on the scenes is “I didn’t think it could happen here”! Should be shortened to “I didn’t think” if you ask me, but in order to keep the consumers consuming, they must be not only distracted but led to believe that nothing bad can ever happen to them, only to other people.

When Dirty Diaper Joe declared the other day that there will be famine in our future, my wife asked me, “he’s not talking about her, right”? Denial, it’s not just a river in Egypt.

I was out in the local suburban shopping moonscape this weekend to get some tools and the normies were all out consooooooming, especially at the lousy chain restaurants that get all their product from the back of a truck.

React Now. Yesterday I placed 10, 15″ x 20″ plywood propagation boxes onto a South-facing window sill. Today I’ll be planting seeds galore, more than I ever have before, to make the most of what the National Gardening Association defines as my 78 frost-free growing season.
I urge every American, especially those who live in the more challenging northern-third of the country, to do everything he/she can to mitigate the shortages and rising prices that are already here.
The National Gardening Association is an excellent resource for everyone wanting to grow at least some of their own food. http://www.garden.org. Check out the “Useful tools” tab on the home page to access a wealth of very helpful information, including frost-free dates, hardiness, and planting lists. Good luck!

        • Anthea April 6, 2022 at 7:39 pm #

My daughter and I are planning a big garden this year. (She is next door to me.) Between the two of us, we have about 60 tomato seedlings, plus many other vegetables. The onions, garlic, and carrots are already planted. My daughter has chickens and goats, and I’ll be taking over a small flock of chickens this year, as she is planning a bigger flock for herself. She also raises a hog or three every summer, for fall butchering.

Our next-door neighbors have field pigs, a cow, some goats, and chickens and ducks.

My daughter has one of those fancy NESCO electric canners, in addition to one (or maybe it’s two) of the old-fashioned canners. I bought one of the NESCO kind as a housewarming present for a daughter who, with her husband, recently bought a house on a small acreage. I have an old-time MIRRO canner, but I’m thinking I should get a NESCO for myself. They are out of stock right now, so I guess I’d better grab one next time they are in stock.

      • Walter B April 5, 2022 at 8:55 am #

Food shortages, empty shelves and famine have been the catalyst, at least historically, that foment revolution of the starving masses against the corrupt, despotic governments that created the horrific conditions.

The situation in America today however is very, very different than anything that the past has seen. Our nation has a huge population of huge behemoths who are so bloated that even their cars and houses had to be built twice the size of the norm just to accommodate the gargantuan motherfuckers. These people are going to get really, really hungry when shortages are in full swing, but I for one cannot see them getting off of their super-sized butts to do anything about it. My guess is that most of them are simply too fat to fight. There has never been an army of the obese that ever won a single battle in history.

My guess is that they are just going to squeal for a while and drop dead. A fitting end if you ask me, and I hope that the Good Lord can forgive me for saying all this, but it has been very, very frustrating to watch it happening in my lifetime. I do not think that I could ever be a good enough follower of Jesus Christ to take the same attitude that He would have had towards the poor, misguided fools. Forgive me Father.

I have to agree. Spent the weekend with my family. These are intelligent people. They were bubbling with excitement at the prospect of two vaccinations per year forever. At this point, I figured mentioning ivermectin was a non-starter, so the conversation was dropped.

      • Walter B April 4, 2022 at 3:22 pm #

At first I was surprised that our nation of pill poppers would choose a jab over a pill, but then it struck me. The consumers may have no aversion to taking pills, but far too many of them are so damned lazy that perhaps the idea of a couple of “free” shots every once and a while is less work and so “more desirable”. Also, how many times do you hear that people are too lazy or forgetful to finish the whole prescription, the remnants of which populate medicine cabinets around the country.

The easy way out is always easier, yet seldom better, but that fact is not popular with our culture anymore is it?

        • Helix April 5, 2022 at 9:44 am #

My real concern was that they had blithely cruised right past data that raised a number of concerns:

          1) The vaccines don’t prevent disease and their effectiveness wanes in a matter of months, and perhaps even predisposes one to disease during the waning months.
          2) The vaccines carry significant and serious risks and may cause permanent injury.
          3) Therapies based around off-label drugs such as fluvoxamine, ivermectin, HCQ were safer and more effective than the vaccines.
          4) Those who dare to mention the above points are maligned, which should be a red flag.

But the real downer was that these people did not even want to look into these concerns. Just “misinformation”, you know. And if intelligent people don’t want to know, how much hope is there for the rest of society?

What is as much, or possibly even more to the point is that all the covid-related government actions were flat-out, in-your-face evil.

I don’t know if the true believers are intelligent or not, but I would say there is something seriously wrong with anyone who does not opppse evil when it comes right up and spits in their eye.

    • MaryQueen April 4, 2022 at 2:53 pm #

I agree. I don’t see them waking up. Even if by some miracle they start understanding the jab is killing them, they’ll still jump to the next religion/belief that comes along.

“The American Deep State is in a heap of deep trouble. It’s impossible anymore to hide its turpitudes.” I hope I’m wrong but I don’t see it. Decent people tend to equate truth coming out with suitable action then being taken to right the wrong. Simple action and reaction. However, I don’t think the DS gives a damn what comes out or what we think. They will just move on to the next fraud and Boobus Americanus (and Boobus Europeanus over here) will go along with it all.

      • Helix April 5, 2022 at 10:02 am #

That’s the beauty of being the deep state. They don’t have to give a shit whether their turpitude is hidden or not. Everyone who cares to look knows the Warren Commission report on the JFK assassination was a steaming pile of shit and the two-planes-three-buildings story on 9/11 doesn’t add up, but so what? There’s nothing the great unwashed can do about it anyway, so fuck ’em.

Do you think your ass would still be running around free — you know, like Hunter — if it was your laptop that had been left at that repair shop? Yeah, sure. The men in black would have been crashing through your front door before you could say “where’s my passport?”

Here’s the deal. It’s one set of laws for you and no laws for them. Well, wait, there’s one law for them – never out another one of them if you don’t want to get Epsteined. Get used to it.

In fact, it’s good to let stories like the Biden Laptop run now and then. Their way of rubbing your nose in the fact that they’re untouchable and they can do anything they want, so don’t make too much trouble for them. Get my drift? Maybe you should watch that Zapruder film again, just in case you’re not clear about this.

Wow. Apparently you’ve never read Vincent Bugliosi’s book on the JFK assassination, He cared to look. As for 9/11 – no money trail or primary evidence of detonation charges planted in the buildings, which would have required the cooperation of hundreds and knowledge of thousands, at least.

There is so much going on that it can be difficult to unpack. What shouldn’t be difficult is the fact that Russia now has a gold-backed currency and the petro-dollar is headed for the trash heap of history.

Americans can expect their standard of living to fall by 2/3’rds once we can no longer export our debt to the rest of the world.

    Prepare accordingly.

    • Disaffected April 4, 2022 at 10:03 am #

The coming tsunami will gob-smack everyone into the new reality. How we deal with that will define our character and whether we pick up the pieces and go forward as a single nation again. My guess is not. I honestly don’t see it.

      • lateStarter April 4, 2022 at 10:20 am #

I don’t see it either. With the recent ‘monetary readjustments’ made by Russia, the US briefly noticed the earth shifting underneath them and then when back to debating the Will Smith thing. Any recovery at all will come after it burns down.

        • NickelthroweR April 4, 2022 at 10:26 am #

Once we can no longer export our debt, all entitlement programs and woke programs and green energy programs will cease to be financed. 1/2 of all households receive some kind of transfer payment and when that vanishes, you’ll see millions of dumbfounded dipshits pulling their own hair out while screaming at the sky.

It will be something to behold.

We won’t have a depression by definition until we have debt deflation, which will only come after we first have hyperinflation caused by your aforementioned money printing, which only works as long as you can export the debt at the point of a gun. Now that the gun’s shooting blanks, the money printing is doomed to be not long for this world either. The econotwits used to have a phrase for this, long since fallen out of favor: THERE’S NO FREE LUNCH.

Hyperinflation or debt deflation, pick your poison. Opposite ends of the spectrum, but with the same root causes and the same general effects. Misery, strife, and political unrest and revolution.

The American 60% with mass formation psychosis reminds me of the scene from “Overboard” with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

After he has tricked this super rich woman with amnesia to believe she is his wife and mother of his four incorrigible brats she exclaims, “I have taken care of your kids, your dogs your friends! I have cooked, cleaned and scrubbed! And now it seems perfectly obvious to me why I have blocked it all out!”

Maybe the American people realize all the ugly truth and have simply chosen to block it all out!

It is obvious to 40% of us that the government and 99% of all politicians have consistently lied since JFK’s brains were blown out in broad daylight in Dallas.

When you understand Jim Kunstler’s political history and consider his beliefs and views as expressed here on this blog, logic should indicate that he would be a staunch supporter of the democratic/liberal political ideology which he apparently was for many decades. However, when that party turned rotten, evil more accurately, our host was able to see through the metamorphosis and realize that the party of the people, or the working man had actually degraded into the party of chaos and pretty much reverted back to being the party of slavery as it was in the 1850’s and 60’s, although this time it is slavery for ALL of us. Of course, the republicans are a garbage bag of waste as well with only a few, fringe individuals that have retained their decency so we cannot count on them for shit, or maybe only that when you think about it.

In our host’s case the realization is one of the things that I believe we all admire and applaud him for. Unfortunately, JHK is in possession of an attribute that far too many Americans no longer have, he is intelligent. I cannot convince myself that enough people exist out here to be able to understand what is happening and be able to slow down much less correct the course to hell that we are on. Far too many of them probably even look forward to a trip to the burning pit.

At least by coming here twice a week, we can not only keep appraised of the state of decay but be uplifted even just a little bit by knowing that not everybody is a worthless eater.

Thank you as always James Howard Kunstler, your work is greatly appreciated.

I started following Kunstler more than 12 years ago because I was very much interested in his take on our urban environment and how we organize our urban living space. That said, I considered his politics to be that of a batty leftist. Watching him reel in horror from the criminality of the Left (the Right is no better) gives me hope that more people will wake up to what is going on right now.

Nickel and Walter B — I don’t know why you think I was some kind of Lefty. Never was. I had been a registered Democrat, but only to vote in the NY primary. Otherwise, I was a centrist — against the Nanny State but also skeptical of Big Business. On many issues, I was apolitical. — JHK Admin

I stand corrected sir, but nothing meant in a bad way. I am very liberal myself in many ways and registered initially as a democrat in 1972 because like so many in the nation, I loved JFK and RFK. Jim, I’m a Free Market Anarchist. Anyone to the Left of Ross Perot looks “batty” to me. Like I said, I’ve always admired your take on the Urban Landscape and our Manufactured Environment. Your justification for advocating for sustainable small-town living was Peak Oil and Peak Oil is a numbers game and once you begin to look at real numbers and the reality of exponentials, it takes you to a place where you can’t lie to yourself about the virus; you cant lie to yourself about the election and you certainly can not lie to yourself about what happens when the dollar finally fails.

        • Jarek April 4, 2022 at 11:50 am #

And how does anarchism fit into small town living? It doesn’t.

There’s nothing free about the free market. And the winners end up as bomb throwers just like their poor anarchist relations.

Man is not given the authority to make law, only to enforce the laws that the Creator has given us. That revelation is what all this is really about [ are you paying attention? ].

“It is not within man that walks to direct his own steps.”

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter; Fear [ respect ] God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”

Small town living will flourish when we get this right.

And you can’t call this christian anarchism because they believe God nailed His own Law to the cross and seem to ignore the fact that all “powers” must be subject to “higher law”.

My great-grandfather stumped around the country for both the women’s vote and prohibition, because he saw his drunken fellow immigrants ruining their own families. He turned 50 in 1919, and people from his city, including plenty of saloon owners, threw him a party and gave him a thousand bucks. He bought a lake cottage with it, which the family still enjoys today. He was a bit of an idealist. The town where his cottage was was lousy with speakeasies during Prohibition, and his state, Wisconsin, is still just about the drunkest place on earth.

        • Anthea April 5, 2022 at 1:00 am #

          @ Jarek:

You may have noticed that there has been no Prohibition movement for some time. Once divorce became socially acceptable, there was no longer any need for Prohibition. Once you divorce a drunk, his drinking is not longer a matter of interest to you.

This is one of those cases where a social problem is only a problem because its victims are not allowed to do anything about it. Or, to put it another way, the social problem exists mainly due to a lack of personal freedom on the part of the victims.

There are some other cases like this. One of them is gun control. Allowing people to arm themselves, and instituting “castle” laws that make it legal to defend yourself, would solve much of our crime problem.

When he said this he was looking straight at me.

    “The lingering question”…

I expect the coming hardships to recruit more followers of mass psychosis from among the fence-sitters. The Woke (those who trust the globalist deep state and its coercion – while denying its existence of course) and the Awake (those who don’t) are already dug in, not many defections to be expected from among their ranks.

Most people are conformists and will follow the loudest voice. That voice ain’t singing the song of the Awake. The rhythm is simple and repetitive. The words are familiar and emotional. It’s loud and it’s tasteless and I’ve heard it before

The two EVs that are being flaunted right now are the Lucid Air Sedan and the Rivian truck, which are priced at $179,000 and $83,500 respectively. For some reason both require the purchase of a subscription to operate them, which cost another $15,500 over 5 years. The obvious question is, how many people can afford these cars? I submit, not too many. I suspect these companies are frauds, and there was never any intent to mass produce Rivians or Lucid Airs. Even Tesla is a fraud, in that 2/3 of the cars they produce are being sold in foreign countries where they are highly subsidized.

          • thirdcoastlegend April 4, 2022 at 1:23 pm #

The real point of EVs is to force people out of their cars into public transportation and staying home via the spiraling cost of vehicles, fuel, fees, and taxes.

          • JohnAZ April 4, 2022 at 2:09 pm #

Yes, same as government ordered HOV lanes and the 55 mph limit under Carter.

          • Islander April 4, 2022 at 3:19 pm #

I would be happy to use public transportation—even to be “incentived” to do so (meaning that it makes for sense to do so (:-))—but not under false pretenses.

I mean, the tsunami of gas-guzzling cars and oversized SUVs and actual trucks (the SUVs get the same tax breaks as trucks) is obscene.

            Anyone can see that.

However, the people who are willing to replace some car trips with bus trips are NOT the people driving the ridiculous gas guzzlers. Believe me, there are plenty of these monstrosities such as Hummers etc. around here, parked in front of the PO!! Point being, these are massive macho (there, I said it!) ego trips. Oversized ICE, undersized ??? Take your Hummer to Ukraine.

The last time I rode the bus to pick up the office car, there was a fight on the bus. Some woman was screaming at this man to stop looking at her. He was mortified and wasn’t looking at her before the outburst as far as I could tell. I decided mentally ill folks must be precluded from driving due to their meds.

          • Night Owl April 5, 2022 at 11:11 am #

I keep saying it: electric cars are not for the plebes.

In the world where we “own nothing,” we rather obviously don’t have cars.

Also, I used to like the idea of functioning public transportation, and sort of still do, but the system here in Germany is a joke.

If one works out what it costs to get a yearly pass for commuting or general use, in many cases, a car is only a bit more. And I am not talking about a Daiwoo. My own vehicle is actually cheaper than the commuter pass for the Regiobahn, given the amount I currently drive.

          • Not_GeorgeT April 5, 2022 at 4:33 pm #

There are places, as I was looking around recently, where that $179,000 is a house mortgage. Not many (it’s on the low side), but in the range.

            Night Owl and Middle Peninsula

Different things work in different places. We have an award-winning bus service in Edinburgh (with a few minor alternative bus companies tagged on for choice). I have a theory that people get the bus service they deserve. So, for example:

            1. Sitting in a car complaining about the inadequacy of bus services (as a justification for your car use) does not constitute demand and will not affect supply. Standing at a bus stop constitutes demand. (I’m not criticising either of you here, obviously, but rather people in British towns who do sit in cars in traffic queues moaning that there aren’t enough buses – not in Edinburgh, as we have an excellent bus service here precisely because people use it – although there are still too many cars at peak times).

            2. If ‘average’ and/or kinda well-heeled people eschew buses, then the people who are left to use the buses will be the people the first groups don’t want to share buses with. If everybody uses the buses, then the buses will be full of the kind of people nobody minds meeting on a bus. In Edinburgh everyone, even those with cars, use the buses – parking in the city centre is a nightmare. Therefore, whoever you are, you are going to find that the people on the buses are just like you.
Years ago when I lived further out of town (but within the city boundary) I got a ‘limited stop’ bus to work run by the same bus company. It was full of blokes in suits with briefcases and was the cheapest way of getting to work, with no requirement to find and pay for a parking space all day.

I have, of course, spent the very occasional bus journey staring resolutely out the window to avoid catching the eye of some drunk, loquacious fella I was fervently hoping would not sit down beside me. Equally, I have shared bus space with the author and former Professor of Ethics, Sandy McCall-Smith (and his missus, who was a GP at my medical practice) and, on another occasion, with Richard Holloway, author and former Bishop of Edinburgh. To my mind that’s what a bus service should be like.

Not having a go at anyone, just putting in my tuppence-worth. 🙂 None of this is relevant for those who live at the arse end of nowhere, obviously, where I’d quite like to live myself these days.

          • Night Owl April 6, 2022 at 2:58 am #

GA, my point is that here in Germany, Deutsche Bahn is a corrupt organization that can’t fulfill its mission effectively.

The service is poor, many of the train cars are dilapidated (in the summers here, many suffer from heat stroke on the Regiobahn trains, where the windows don’t open more than about 5 cm, and there is no climate control), and the prices have increased so much, that there is virtually no reason to use the train to commute.

With a private car, there is also the convenience/personal control factor.

I have never used trains in Scotland, but I have used them in England and had no problems. That said, I don’t know the system well enough to complain.

Using covid to advance an agenda- I was in a department store yesterday. I noticed that in this particular store, as in many other businesses I’ve been in, they have gone ahead and installed much more permanent-looking plexiglass barriers only this year.

They also had another increasingly common feature- I was paying in cash, but I was still directed to use the stylus to tap the electronic screen. They have some inane question you just have to answer yes or no to, or agree with.

The cashier apologized, because she was locked out of the register unless I used the screen.

She told me that people did not like touching the screen, so they were trying to get people to use their app to avoid touching anything.

More and more of the chains are doing this, you are paying cash but you still have to interact with the electronic screen anyway.

I even think that’s why CVS has been handing out those ridiculously long receipts. The wish to annoy you so much you will quit asking for a receipt and do it all electronically.

I can’t believe that anyone in their right mind ever thought that the purpose of that was anything but evading transparency and records retention laws. Instead of any kind of objective investigation into her, we got a snipe hunt for the villains that dared to undermine her efforts to keep her dealings hidden from the American people. The lingering question: will the hardships to come only reinforce America’s mass formation psychosis, or will it compel us to wake up and pay attention to the attempted suicide of our country?

Jim, to be quite frank, I no longer expect much from the majority of my fellow countrymen. I’ve seen too much and been disgusted too often. I no longer care for the witless and the wattless living in the dark with vulgar pride. Their fate is no longer any of my concern. In fact, I look forward to the composting of the hordes of useless existences. Thus, I mainly concern myself with the following question. How and where can I profit? Where is my opportunity for gain? Cold perhaps but a much more useful use of my limited time and resources.

Were the prospects for my country’s destiny more favorable and hopeful then I would joyfully pursue more civic concerns. Alas, in my lifetime, such is not to be. Goodnight America and thank you James.

Yeah Putin is a serious dude who’s not to be trifled with. I’ve seen him interviewed a few times on Indian TV and his demeanor suggests he’s not f#kking around.

Putin appeared calm, under control, and even showed a sense of humor. No bombast, no threats issued, quite the opposite of the paranoid “foaming at the mouth” dictator he’s been described as on CNN.

This and what happened to Libya after they gave up their nuclear program means that no country ever again should give up their nuclear weapons. If the Ukraine and Kazahkstan etc. had retained a nuclear weapon capability things would be different today. North Korea is paying attention. It makes sense to me that when the two Koreas unite they would retain the North’s Nuclear weapons program.

The parasitic divergence of the oligarchy and their purchased sycophants away from the care and happiness of civilizations is accelerating.

The 48 percolating variables at or exceeding critical point, under the immutable law of self-organized criticality, demonstrate the rolling waves of collapse, across simultaneous dimensions of human existence.

The pretty boy and girl glad-handing hand-wringing money-changers are the FIRST to perish, as the phase transition from civilization entropy to re-birthing intensifies.

ALL Time and Energy are BEST spent building out the NEW, not fighting the old, whereby NEW is defined as hyper-localized regenerative, sustainable, defended supply chains, in locales where the population of deer, fish, woodlands, butterflies, and bluebirds represent the majority of biological life.

GODSPEED…to the Walden 2.0 transcendental existence, where the Shakespearean-tragic-comedy-horror-dystopian-Pavlovian-B.F. Skinner-Madison Street reality show is BEST viewed, while taking a break from gathering eggs and vegetables.

A “NEW” unconnected to the old? As if the law of causality has been vetoed or better yet, voted out by “the people”?

Go out into the yard. Pull up a plant. The part that was below the soil is called “roots”. In terms of this analogy, they represent the past.

It comes down to the individual.
Does the individual really have the courage to go along with the truth, and maneuver away from the accelerating entropic collapse of the old, and devote all time and energy in re-birthing the New?

There’s no way I would expect everyone to all of a sudden “get it” and wake up to reality.

Fence sitters can help expand the 1/3 not under mass psychosis but the fact is some of our fellow citizens aren’t capable of expansive thought and analysis of current events. Many have been shamed into believing they shouldn’t even consider thinking beyond what the media tells them.

Most are conformists and wouldn’t consider coloring outside the lines. In fact they have a hard time coloring within the lines so it is the focus of their lives. They are chasing a gold star for their efforts that will never come.

They perceived themselves as being on the “winning side” with all their mask-wearing and BLM virtue signaling. (Note the Ukraine thing began as an opportunity for more virtue-signally but has waned as the reality of the situation becomes apparent and more complicated. Also makes you pro-war).

Soon these types will be back to their desperate attempts to figure out what lines they are supposed to color in yet there won’t be a coloring book for them to work from.

They are going to have a hard time coping.

    • Beryl of Oyl April 4, 2022 at 11:30 am #

There are an awful lot of people just trying to live their lives despite the new obstacles TPTB keep throwing their way.

They aren’t exactly sure who is doing it, or why, they just accept it as their new reality and do their best to deal with it.

      • SW April 4, 2022 at 2:10 pm #

The new reality that’s in line to replace covid hysteria has been rolled out —

“Methane is a long-overlooked but powerful greenhouse gas, and emissions of it are rapidly rising as natural gas displaces coal and demand for meat grows. The IPCC states that fast, deep cuts to methane emissions are essential to getting warming mitigation on target.

Using the Chicken Little model, lots of changes are coming our way and regulations like we’ve never imagined will be enforced. Did anyone believe 3 years ago that the world’s population would be required to stay in their homes, shamed and bullied into a vaccine that had never been used on humans before and kids would not be permitted to attend school b/c the very teachers who should have been their primary advocates used this opportunity to exploit the system?

I just finished reading The Every by Dave Eggers, a sequel to The Circle, where every decision is based on the “impact on the planet.” It’s the end result of relentless virtue signaling, narrow-mindedness and a deep fear of interaction with other people and the world.

        • BackRowHeckler April 4, 2022 at 4:27 pm #

“… regulations like we never imagined will be enforced.”

Well, that what the new Climate Corps. is all about. An enthusiastic cadre of young Climate “True Believers” — wearing red caps and green uniforms –coming round to enforce Climate diktats so arcane and abstruse they make Blacks Book of Law look like Dr. Suess’s Green Eggs and Ham.

          • SW April 4, 2022 at 6:52 pm #

And they’ve all signed up too. When I see that pathetic Greta on TV I feel sorry for her. She’ll never be anything but brainwashed and anxiety ridden, every decision will be “am I destroying the earth?”

First, the changes and restrictions will be voluntary and we’ll be told “we’re doing the right thing for future generations” by unquestionably doing what we’re told. Then just like the vaccine, it will be flipped to demonize anyone who doesn’t go along with the agenda.

        • D from OR April 7, 2022 at 10:30 am #

I can only agree to the “…regulations like we never imagined” part but not the “..will be enforced.”

I remember all the hand-wringing about Contact Tracers during CV and I thought there is no way this can be scaled up. Who hires and vets the CTs? Who supervises them? What are their qualifications? Are these government jobs with all the perks? Where’s the funding coming from? What division are they housed under? Will there be a fleet of cars for their use? What kind? On and on…. Only asking the questions a real journalist would.

They couldn’t get it off the ground. They really can’t do anything. Think.

Same with some stupid Climate Corps or the like. These are ideas grafted upon old ones. Again TPTB have zero creativity and only use old ideas.

Mostly though, there won’t be any money.

“It’s actually baffling and dumbfounding that so many Russian citizens are so naive and gullible…”

“My grandfather taught me, that it is invaluable is to never trust a Russian. ”

“These Yachts should be given to Ukraine and outfitted with weapons so they can build their own Navy.”

“they’re seizing properties and assets of those close to Putin and his allies…. so that means Tucker and Donald too.”

Carter’s solar panels were for heating hot water. There were a lot of them installed in my area. The early ones were problematic and I don’t see any thermal hot water panels around here anymore. For electricity is a different story. I have several hundred watts worth stowed away . I can put them in service in a day or two. I’ll just plunk ’em out in a sunny spot and voila! Electricity is my friend.

      • Jo-G April 4, 2022 at 9:35 pm #

My dad had solar hot water installed during the Carter years. He loved the system. It had a glitch once, I think the electric circulation pump or thermostat failed. After several decades of service he had a new replacement. Conversion of solar radiation to heat is more efficient than converting to electricity and then to heat isn’t it? I had a solar cooker. It worked OK on the east coast if I watched it and kept it directed at the sun, but I had to watch it in the south west to avoid burning my food. I’m surprised people in the south west don’t use solar cookers more often.

Two comments on the Ukraine situation with civilians

Fox reporting 410 civilians found dead around Kiev after the Russian withdrawal.

First, remember when Zelensky “recruited” all Ukrainians to fight against the invaders. He basically turned the “civilians” of Ukraine into soldiers. Imagine the Russians coming into an urban area fighting who knows who. The US invasions have run into the same thing over and over. If civilians want to be civilians they need to get the heck out of the way. Zelensky’s declaration itself has created lots of “civilian” casualties.

Second, all the boomers should remember CBS’s coverage of the VietNam war. Daily body counts! Many of those days had death tolls larger than 400 folks. So here is the media again exaggerating the effect of this war. Do you think that the militarization of the people of Ukraine might be exaggerated by our illustrious MSM?

How about letting the refugees get the heck out of the way until the BOYS quit messing around, then go home and repair the damage the idiots caused.

It’s chronic, meaning millennia, and doesn’t lead the way to a resolution in our lifetimes. Yet, the common denominator of this is what has caused the fall and disappearance of every empire, civilization, or culture.

    1) Immorality (the evil and destruction that we witness)
    2) False data (which results in all the errors, misjudgments, and catastrophes that humanity has experienced).

Evil and/or destructive and/or misinformed individuals and groups are the source of all our troubles.

And, lying below this common denominator, is the fundamental causality… man does not truly understand that he is a spiritual being, and, he does not understand the structure and workings of the human mind. Man does not know or understand himself. He does not have the truth that would set him free and enable him to make a decent world in which to live.

We’ve looked everywhere but in this direction over all the millennia. If we could begin getting a grasp of these points, we could truly begin to resolve our woes.

    • JohnAZ April 4, 2022 at 1:55 pm #

      A big

      Good points!

I would like to add to your point on immorality the idea that the continuing Turnings make the people change their collective beliefs so that what one generation thinks is immoral, the next thinks is just fine.

A huge part of what is happening here in the States right now is the result of the people thinking that morality is changeable.

Think, crime, drugs, sex mores, slavery, gambling, etc.

The Bible is loaded with God punishing mankind for its own demoralization.

How do we stop it, If God can only stop it with destruction?

      • messianicdruid April 4, 2022 at 5:41 pm #

We are still living in “bible times”.

I used to tell people we had made up 35 million “laws” trying to enforce ten commandments.

Now its just 35 million so-called laws [ which few understand ] in place of the commandments.

        • amb April 4, 2022 at 8:52 pm #

Exactly. The 10 Commandments are vital. Yet, there is something deeper, a barrier, that prevents people from realizing the importance and need to apply them to their lives.

      • amb April 4, 2022 at 7:33 pm #

Good points. Now I’m thinking that immorality might be the wrong term (as you point out that this can change in generations and be influenced in a negative way). Morals have to do with groups. Ethics has to do with the individual, separate from the group or society. Ethics is more personal reason and logic towards survival (improving conditions with the least amount of damage to the other categories of life and society). The right thing is what least hurts the group and most helps the group. Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you. Etc.

Ethics is reason and logic towards optimum survival, for not just you, but everything (you, your family, other families, your groups, your country, other countries, humanity as a whole).

If we could compute on that sort of level I believe we’d all be in a better place.

    • amb April 4, 2022 at 7:41 pm #

Not trying to be self-important here. Or, trying to be the focus of anything. But my observation is that, the fact that there was hardly any response or dialogue on my 1:38 post above indicates that most people don’t get it, and continue to be embroiled in the details of the news, current affairs, etc. and we will continue on automatic: one collapsing civilization after the next. What I isolated above, or some semblance of it, is what needs to be FOCUSED upon. We need to break the automaticity and start looking in a different direction, thinking differently, re-evaluating what is important, basic, fundamental, and what matters, or we will just continue down the dwindling spiral.

What we are doing doesn’t work. Look at the condition of the planet. Existing religions haven’t saved us. Science hasn’t. Nothing has. Change or perish.

You knocked it out of the park again, James, with today’s article. Thank you!

If there is ANY justice left in the western world, the cabal running Hologram Joe will be taken down. I don’t have much hope of that, but it would be a thing of beauty.

In the meantime, though, they are tanking our civilization. And that’s what keeps me up at night.

Even though I once played Little League baseball (around the summer of 1952) I have found that game extremely boring for the past several decades. I actually dread the beginning of the 2022 season.

Well, Biden gets those daily meth/steroid shots — administered by Dr Feelgood — that lend him a lifelike hue. There are machines now that dead people can be hooked up to that allows the corpse to simulate being alive — Mandela was on one for 6 months before they finally pulled the plug. This is the state Biden might be in now.

” You can forget about the single nation idea, at least in its present form. And good riddance to it too! ”

    — Hereward the woke

    Broken record time.

    The Confederate’s could have been wrong about everything else , but they were still right about the most important thing ;

One giant centralized state with a compulsory single culture is an idea that can only sooner or later turn bad.

The continent should devide up , and the sooner the better.

( Alas , it is already late in the day for that. )

    Notice I said , ” should ” , not , ” will ” , or ” must”.

Come what may , this half of the continent may remain a single unit.

But the consequence of that would not be a Switzerland or Monaco , or even a Germany or France.

The inevitable consequence will be a Russia, China , or Brazil.

A country whose power and wealth outsiders may fear ,

But no outsider , except maybe a grossly sadistic authoritarian type , would envy that countries citizens.

The one thing about CFN that really fucking annoys me is the , ” It’s all the fault of our rulers . ”

The vast majority , White or Black , Left or Right , voluntarily signed up for the United States of Empire,

The United States of Gross Authoritarianism.

They are only pissed now because the gravy train is ending ,

Because fucking over some vague other is no longer proving profitable.

To pick on Jarek as my example ( and he is only “bad ” because he is LESS ambiguous, MORE candid )

What annoys me about Jarek is not that he wants ” Whites Only ” .

In my view , that is entirely just and reasonable.

What drives me up the wall is that he wants ” Whites Only ” AND ” from sea to shining sea ” .

That is wanting to have your cake and eat it too ,

That is as impractical and unreasonable and so finally as immoral as colonies ( we would keep control of ) on Mars.

Not quite, my dear Kesh. I do let in some practicality from time to time. I don’t like it, but I admit large swathes of America are lost to the White race and that we will now share this continent with Blacks, Hispanics, East Asians, South Asians, etc. Maybe some of the Asians can team up as in Singapore for their own state, perhaps around Vancouver, BC. Likewise, perhaps we can acquire parts of the failed state of Canada for a or one of the new Republics.

I spent ten years in Vancouver and the (non-ethnic) Chinese takeover of the residential real estate market since that time is phenomenal. Mostly hot Hong Kong money.

The old three-story wooden house on a broad corner lot I lived at, on the Main Street border between working class and petit bourgeois middle class, I could have bought for under US$100,000 in the early 1970s. Now the place (the land, actually) would be worth US$ 8~10 million.

There are areas where realtors know to steer away whiteys looking to buy. Chinese residents only, please. In Richmond (lower BC mainland) the only English-language signs in malls read EXIT.

It’s GAME OVER and the mild-mannered Canucks don’t know what hit them. They do appreciate the money, however, at least those who benefited from it.

It’s obvious that the “president” of the US is incompetent, corrupt and compromised. It doesn’t look too good, but nothing will be done about it.

Those who have compromised Biden are now in full control of the destruction of our country. Fortunately, we still have freedom of the press which has allowed blatant government criminality to be exposed in this column and others for many years.

We know all about the rigged elections, the opportune timing of the lab-created COVID19 pandemic, the deadly experimental mRNA drugs, the destruction of the dollar, Hunter Biden’s incriminating laptop, the lying government-controled fake news media and so much more.

Yes, we are allowed to know all about a multitude of destructive activities, and the names of the criminals behind these operations, because these criminals know nothing can be done to stop them.

“… can you really trust either the US news media or the US government to tell you the truth?.. you can bet that CBS-News is in on the info-grift to protect State, its patron.

Lies are the rocket fuel that powers Empire.

Empire cannot exist or function without Lies.

    Lies. The bigger, the better.

The citizenry? The more in the dark, the better. The more confused, the better. The more shielded far away from Truth, the better.

Truth is toxic to Lies. And Lies are toxic to Truth.

The stench of Lies fills our lungs for so long now that after a while we don’t even notice that we are breathing filthy air. In fact, good clean air starts to smell weird. We begin to crave the stench… the odor… the familiarity… of Lies. We get addicted to the stuff. And Empire is our Pusher.

A match made in… Empire Hell.

CBS used to be called the Tiffany Network. It had a creditable news department. But that was decades ago – six of them.

Today, it is a festering mess of Wokeism and Spook-inspired mind warps pulling Americans into the pit of confusion and racial and gender antagonism. CBS – just like the other Mass State Media networks – has become a bargain-basement cesspool orgy of new-age gender and skin color virtue signaling.

Teaching America to hate and cancel herself.

“The lingering question: will the hardships to come only reinforce America’s mass formation psychosis, or will it compel us to wake up and pay attention to the attempted suicide of our country?”

America has lost its will to live. That’s a sad thing for any individual – and tragic for a one-respected Nation.

One has to have a reason to have the will to live. And we are finding out — being gaslighted on a daily basis and learning to hate ourselves is not the ticket to happiness.

But at least we’re fulfilling our part of the Grand Agenda, right?

Sixty years ago They did in a President. Today… They do in a whole Nation.

Using the criminal justice narrative is only potentially productive of good if you actually have the power to arrest and inflict pain .

If you do not actually have such power or wealth , all it is productive of is runaway cynicism .

Control – freaks never seem to realize though that even the Roman’s, the Mongols , the Russians or the Chinese , ever had that much power or that much wealth.

Control – freaks never seem to grasp the notion that you should exercise a great deal of self – restraint when it comes to labeling people felons , and that sort of thing.

” Money talks and bullshit walks ” , and , ” There is no free lunch ”

Applies just the same to principle and to morality as it does to anything else.

In brief ; You cannot afford to lock up everybody.

So maybe accusing every Tom , Dick , and Harry , of war crimes and atrocities , and every five minutes ,

      Is neither wise nor virtuous.

    • KesaAnna April 4, 2022 at 6:58 pm #

      One possible problem with the Nuremberg framework in this case might be ;

The Nazis were a minority party who ran Germany for all of 12 years.

If not a minority party , the Interahamwe had full control of Rwanda for just a few months .

In the case of Russia , however , Putin and his cronies did not emerge from a vacuum a few weeks ago , or even a decade ago.

Rather like the United States , by and large the folks running Russia are the grandchildren and great grandchildren of the same folks who were running it in the 1930’s.

So for it to be remotely balanced and even barely legimate – looking , it would not suffice to arrest a person here and there.

You would have to arrest three and four generations, and entire families.

It simply isn’t a few bad apples. It really is systemic.

  49. NoLongerHuman April 4, 2022 at 5:47 pm #

It really feels like the majority of Americans are living in an information bubble. They really can’t find a differing opinion. All of the media is coordinated with the same stories spoken with the same language. If they search for an alternative view it won’t show up in the the results or they’ll be provided 5 sites lined up to plainly show the alternative view as false. Facebook and twitter will block content that doubts the narrative.

I swear Hollywood likes to show us this before it happens. Who could forget the residents of West World. Who each day woke up without their short team memories or any lingering doubts. They just knew their parts and roles, prostitute, barkeep, prospector and went about their business. Sometimes things didn’t add up in their experiences but after they were reset each day they didn’t question anything.

The agencies that ran Operation Mockingbird would be astounded at the progress.

The Soviet Union , and so the Soviet Army , ceased to exist 30 years ago.

But just as some people love to study automobiles that have been out of production 30 + years ,

So I still study the Soviet Army and Warsaw Pact forces.

So , anyway , night before last I typed into my Google search , SOVIET combat engineer river crossing exercise ”

I got God only knows how many pages of Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, and Putin’s Russia sucks.

      Ugh !!!

      I wasn’t looking for Putin’s Russia asshole , I was looking for BREZHNEV’ S Russia !

      I think I already mentioned a week or so ago that I typed in , ” Russian tanks fucking shit up ” ( and preferably Russian T -55’s , T – 62’s , and T – 72’s )

But the ONLY results I got were , ” Russian tanks being fucked up. ”

That was just plain stupid. Even if you subscribe to the notion that Russian equipment is sub – par ,

You are never the less stuck with thorny facts like your darling Israeli’s , for example, have used captured Russian equipment quite effectively.

And , even if Russian equipment was sub -par , it would never the less perform impressively ( if albeit misleadingly ) in RUSSIAN vs. RUSSIAN military exercises.

In the western tradition , sports were commonly organized and funded under the umbrella of educational institutions,

As , of course, such remains the case even today ,

even when , arguably, the sport in question has scarce anything to do with education .

In Eastern Europe generally sports were commonly promoted , funded , and organized by the military.

Makes some sense ; soldiers are a kind of athlete , and many sports are at least very roughly analogous to some sort of military function.

Certainly when the Soviet system came along , and subsequently Soviet – inspired systems,

And in addition in the Soviet system there is very little or no private sector ,

BOTH education and sports , and the military , are all the SAME institution.

Though certainly in most cases this manifests in reality primarily as l a box on an organizational chart.

They don’t typically send ice skaters , for example , out to perform in military dress uniform.

They don’t typically dun gas masks and rubber suits and have chemical warfare exercises down at the ice skating rink.

I suppose the only time Katerina Witt would have actually seen the inside of an army barracks would have been is as a little girl she had spare time to participate in the FDJ ( FDJ — East German communist boy scouts / girl scouts , and the FDJ being part of the Civil Defense / reserve army establishment . )

Otherwise probably not , unless ice skating rinks were a common feature of army barracks.

    A Peter mini-update:

Peter is getting worse. No, I don’t mean croak-wise. I mean all his major faculties: sight, hearing, mental but especially short-term memory. Every day for the past week he comes down to the kitchen for dinner and he asks me “How’s Rutgers doing?” or “Is Rutgers playing tonight?” And I have to remind him, “No, Peter, they got knocked out of the playoffs in their ‘first four’ play-in game about two weeks ago.”

For some reason Peter showed up in the kitchen for breakfast today. Normally my wife carries his breakfast up to the third floor on a tray and watches until he swallows his pills. If we/she doesn’t watch he is very likely to “forget” to take them, or one or two pills will fall on the floor. Sooo, Peter takes his seat at the table and I say “By the way Peter, when you go back upstairs be advised that I put two of your garments from the laundry on the steps.” Peter is looking at me with a totally bewildered look on his face… as if I had been speaking to him in Chinese. I don’t know if his bewilderment is because he can’t hear or because I used the word garments instead of clothes. So I repeat it all over again louder and more slowly, changing the inflection of my voice here and there.

Still bewilderment but he did say “OK” so I said nothing more. Hours later I noticed the clothing items were still on the steps.

On Friday the 3 of us went out to eat in a new restaurant recently taken over from a failed previous restaurant. There were no physical menus. You got the menu on your phone by taking a picture of one of those square complex symbols (I forget what they’re called). So the menu is now up on the screen of my wife’s phone and I hand it to Peter. He begins to look at the screen holding the phone at varying arm lengths. He gives up… says he can’t read it. I look at him and notice he is wearing some strange pair of glasses. He has a collection of old glasses and puts on any old pair that happens to come to hand. Bo (his sister) reads him the menu. I could go on but this is probably getting tedious.

    • KesaAnna April 4, 2022 at 8:20 pm #

The good news is folks may now live to see 60 , 70 , or 100 years !

The bad news might be that in a world where two – thirds of all wealth is still inherited , that a great many children and grandchildren may inherit nothing but end – of – peak – performance debts , might be more than a minor problem.

I get the strong impression none of that was remotely thought out , or is being thought out now , either.

Another piece of bad news might be those cases where human vegetables and / or those suffering dementia ARE STILL IN CHARGE !

Still in charge , because it may yet be that money talks , and competence walks.

I don’t get the impression that has been thought out either.

    • Jarek April 5, 2022 at 12:17 pm #

Why on Earth (or under it) did you use the word garments?

Did you still try to intimidate him by staring at him during dinner?

Do you need a thick bristle? Like the old Fuller Brush brooms?

        • thwack April 4, 2022 at 9:44 pm #

Ive found that shoes/foot work are more important than your brush, and that thick bristles are not an advantage because it retards incremental dynamics produced by “scrubbing” intensity.

In other words, if you are good at “accelerating” your brush strokes from “low” to “high”, or “high” to “low”… then stiff bristles work against you. I know it seems counter intuitive; but at the end of the day, I prefer a “fine toothed comb” over 80 grit sand paper…

People make fun of it; but curling is not a joke.

For some reason the women’s competitions are more interesting too. The Korean TV makes the ssireum men more celebratory where the women seem more purely competitive. I guess I shouldn’t point out that ” Tarheel ” was once a derogatory term , later adopted as a perverse point of pride by North Carolina CONFEDERATE troops.

    Sort of like —

( as if there has not already been more than enough conflating of the Confederacy with the Third Reich )

    — in World War II there was an SS Division named Gotz von Berlichingen .

Who the fuck was Gotz von Berlichingen ?

    He was a medieval Knight who , as far as I know , his 15 minutes of fame was based solely on an occasion where he was really getting his ass kicked , but never the less told his antagonist ;

    ” Kiss my ass ! ”

So the Gotz von Berlichegen Division was informally known as the ,” Kiss My Ass Division. ”

And rather appropriate too , because by the time the Division was raised, Germany was losing the war badly.

You could say , ” Tarheels ” is a Confederate , ” Fuck you ” hidden in plain sight ,

    So far …..

Another spot on essay, Mr K.
I’m hearing things about the graphine oxide nanoparticles, once in the body, self assembling into little antennae / transmitters that can be externally directed to secrete certain brain chemicals, the result being a form of mind control. Maybe this is why there’s an almost perfect overlap between the vaxxed crowd and the mass psychosis group.

I live in a constant state of amazement. If I just stuck to the facts and tried to pitch the current situation to a film producer, I’d be told it was way too outlandish to even consider.

“in order to antagonize Russia.” This doesn’t make sense. Maybe suppress Russian interests so western corporations can raid their natural resources?

“Special Covid-19 election procedures” Fraudulent Covid-19 election procedures. The idea that in-person voting was somehow deadly due to covid-19 is the big lie. All votes obtained through the special procedures are fraudulent votes.

“What’s left of the Ukraine army (including its Azov brigades) is cut off from communication,…”

This doesn’t make sense either. What happened to Starlink and the satellite internet with encryption. Why didn’t we supply them with communications equipment? At least encrypted satellite phones would help.

The Ukraine is winning the propaganda war doesn’t make sense. If the propaganda that they’re successfully resisting the special operation is believed, then other countries won’t believe they need to aid the Ukrainians. The propaganda that Russia is selectively attacking kindergartens full of children and not elementary schools or junior high schools, maternity wards full of women and infants and not military hospitals, shopping centers with shoppers and not soldiers or equipment, synagogues without military stores but not orthodox churches doesn’t make sense. Why waste munitions on these things? Especially when you are incompetent at logistics and running out of supplies you wouldn’t waste munitions on low value targets.

Sometimes I get Russian news in Russian and put it through the Papago translator to see what they’re saying. I can’t say that everything they say is truthful and sometimes the translation is obviously bad but overall their news stories do the 5 w’s thing and seem internally consistent. And that is the thing about our news, if their were a huge conspiracy controlled by the “Deep State” I’d think that the news stories wouldn’t be logically inconsistent. The stories would be simple, coherent and understandable. I get the feeling that our news is put out by a bunch of people all trying to lie to advance an agenda but they aren’t coordinating with a central authority to make sure the lies are all consistent with each other. If the Ukrainians are beating the Russians they don’t need aid, if the Russians can’t get their logistics working why are they wasting munitions on non-military targets, if the Russians are reducing cities to rubble, why no satellite before-after pictures and why do they need to capture piles of rubble?

    • KesaAnna April 4, 2022 at 11:02 pm #

      Jesus ****** Christ.

I vaguely remember a documentary I saw one time ,

an amusing park was being hassled because they used dolphins or Killer Whales ( ? ) for entertainment.

The interviewer asked why the grief , when the species in question is neither endangered ( not really ) , and the species lives two or three times longer in captivity than it does in the wild.

The guy being interviewed shook his head and replied ,

” Too much Free Willy !

Too much Free Willy ! ”

( I never saw the movie , hence why I cant remember whether it was dolphins or Killer Whales . But I percieve what the guy was driving at. )

I feel much the same way about this smart – munitions bullshit.

      Uh , yeah , smart – munitions exist —

      — really fucking expensive , even more really fucking expensive than the generic shit

      — and that effective , at best only half the time , unless conditions are 100% favorable.

      Otherwise , 90% of military operations consist of this sort of thing ;

The odds are 50 – 50 that this sort of thing will hit the tank park , or the middle school sitting next to the tank park.

However , even if it is 100% balls – on – accurate and hits the tank park instead of the middle school ,

there is such a thing as concussion and / or blast waves.

( i.e. your body instantly turns to jellied pulp even though the blast missed you by 50 or even a hundred yards. )

      And the ever – wonderful shrapnel.;

A fingernail shaving – sized sliver of metal or wood might not seem like much , but when it is traveling at 600 mph , in can go through you like a knife through warm cheese.

But , yeah , this sort of propaganda should be insulting even to not particularly bright children.

      • KesaAnna April 4, 2022 at 11:20 pm #

I REALLY fucking hate the movie , ” Memphis Belle ” on precisely that account.

        Sure , I would hate , “Memphis Belle ” because it’s Americans , anyway.

But that total horseshit about , ” We have to be sure to hit the munitions plant instead of the school next door with our B- 17 bomb payload ! ”

Never mind whose side you are on ,

that is simply totally fucking embarrassingly stupid !!!

Certainly in World War II , no fucking way that sort of precision even remotely existed with high altitude strategic bombing.

        It’s carpet – bomb , or don’t even bother.

Even the best precision dive – bombers of the era weren’t THAT fuclking accurate.

When war is being fought to win, niceties do not exist.

Stories of the Marines in the Pacific, such as the mini series The Pacific or the bombing of Dresden are good demonstrations of the US determined to win and not playing political games with war.

Right now, the real result of Ukraine have nothing to do with Ukraine. The Russians have shown the fortitude to go to war and win it, regardless of what it takes. The US is plunging down the hill of global respect now.

All the war crimes BS is exactly that, if the Russians with Putin in charge win, who are the war criminals anyway? The ruble is strengthening, oil is flowing, East Ukraine will be Russian in a month. Civilians shooting at Russians being killed are a war crime. The Russians being killed are not.

Gee, who is going to win? Not the NWO, or their US lackeys. Talk about mixed feelings??

            because it is my team.

And if we actually did win ?

            Here’s an anecdote for you ;

The same year I came to America ,

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers joined the NFL.

They had really pretty colors , red , orange , and white !

And they had a really cool and cute logo , an Erol Flynn type character wearing a 17th Century hat with a dagger in his mouth.

And for the next 20 or 30 years they had a really shitty record.

So what happens the VERY YEAR AFTER their record starts to improve ?

            They change their colors !

And they dump the logo for some Japanese Anime version of a pirate flag.

            Total fucking betrayal !!!

I’ve been done with that shit ever since.

” Even though I once played Little League baseball (around the summer of 1952) I have found that game extremely boring for the past several decades. I actually dread the beginning of the 2022 season. ”

Like I said that the circus just isn’t the same without the big tent and the elephants ,

so I suspect that baseball was less about the game itself , and more about the context , the circumstance , the ambiance , the esthetic.

The good news is you have the day off.

The bad news is that air – conditioning doesn’t exist , and TV doesn’t exist either , so you are obliged to get off your ass and actually go somewhere in person if you wanna see a show.

And did I mention there is no air – conditioning , so it is fucking uncomfortably hot to begin with , and will stay that way ?

Anyway , so those small and crumby ball parks were at least charming .

kids , or questionable – looking Carnie types , hawking peanuts , crackerjacks , hot dogs , newspapers , popcorn , newspapers , and shoe – shines was a big charming plus too.

Now all those things can be delivered cheaper and easier by vending machines or Amazon . So the thrill and / or novelty is gone.

Should I mention that as long as you didn’t go out of your way to show your ass , you could get shit – faced drunk AND smoke ?

And speaking of that , here was a sport where on the Friday night before the game , all the guys over a certain age could go to the red light district and get drunk , smoke , and maybe fuck ,

in still be good to go watch the game , or play in the game , on Saturday.

And after the game , which took at least half the day , the same group of both fans and players would still be in shape to go celebrate their win , or mourn their loss , with drinking and smoking and fucking down in the red light district again.

It was a whole different context , a whole different world.

Now it is air conditioning ,

millionaire players on TV , fucking on TV,

and Meth is presumably an improvement on Red Light Districts.

And of course Baseball is boring.

    • KesaAnna April 5, 2022 at 12:12 am #

” kids , or questionable – looking Carnie types , hawking peanuts , crackerjacks , hot dogs , newspapers , popcorn , newspapers , and shoe – shines was a big charming plus too. ”

There was nothing so charming , no charm quite like it , than buying cheap seedy products or services from a kid.

But now child labor is a real no – no.

In many many ways the current age makes the Puritans look like libertines.

Way too many aspects to convey adequately to a non – history fanatic how different an environment it was , and so the impression given.

It’s , ” Lost in Translation ” like the title of that movie.

        More boring shit ;

In addition to the drunks and the chain – smokers there were spitoons .

I guess chewing – tobbacco and snuff are also stigmatized now.

        Ewwww , spitting !

You could sure as shit get Covid from all that contaminated saliva !

And folks , both male and female , DRESSED UP to go hang about these miserably hot events.

Now , even with the air conditioning and such , everyone is dressed like they going out to dig ditches or play couch potato at home ,

except for the occasional woman who is dressed like a you – know – what , BUT she is NOT selling .

        *Sigh* .

What’s the attraction now , except the million dollar salaries you aren’t getting anyway ?

The NCAA March Madness playoffs involved 68 teams (including the first four play-in teams). There were 68 games. I watched all or a portion of all 68 games. 67 of the 68 teams lost 1 game. One team won 5 games and lost none. That was Kansas.

Note: Of all the players involved in these games not a single one dropped dead on the court so there was no Covid-induced death-angle to the competition. Too bad, right? We could have used a recently-boosted player dropping dead on national TV. Maybe some infrequently-used benchwarmer.

    Oh !

I’ve got some consonant dissonance for you !

I have a song / video picked out for the Russian ~ Ukrainian War.

The machine in the video is a piece of equipment used in Russian Chemical Warfare battalions to clean chemical agents from tanks and such .

Chemical warfare paired with a song like that ?

Ever since I saw that video years ago , I can’t think of Russian Chemical Warfare troops without thinking of that song !

Really perverse , sick , fucked up shit !

    Lol !

Fuck yeah , let’s send NATO some fucking love !

    Lulz !!

Gotta be one of my all – time favorite vids !

    • SoftStarLight April 5, 2022 at 3:02 am #

I love the song too!! But you know, it’s actually a devastating mind weapon which I can only imagine is why the mixed messages were displayed. That very confusion is meant to shatter your conciousness so that you are open to suggestibility. And that is when they place the message that they are inevitable and they basically have already won so give up and be saved into your mind. And the expectation is that you will behave in that manner. People say that Ukraine and US/NATO are winning the propaganda war. Initially that may have been true but I personally think that advantage is rapidly fading.

      • JohnAZ April 5, 2022 at 10:23 am #

        Winning the propaganda war?

  68. KesaAnna April 5, 2022 at 2:53 am #

    Uh – oh ,

if you want me to quit talking crazy shit , mentioning Prohibition like somebody did up – page is probably not the way to go !

They say that in 1905 there were more bars and saloons in America than there are McDonald’s or Starbucks now.

Just about the only places people didn’t smoke was in elevators or in Church.

Even quite small towns had Red Light Districts.

Any 12 year old could walk into a drug store and buy cocaine or Heroin over the counter.

And last but not least , nine out of ten men were packing heat , and any boy who wasn’t carrying a knife must be a faggot.

    Some funny things though ;

Nobody seemed to think little girls walking home alone from school was insane or criminally stupid.

To me , the really interesting part about the Wizard of Oz is that while Dorothy is still in Kansas , before she goes to Oz ,

she goes here , there , and yonder, ALONE , and nobody thinks that’s strange.

    And the context of this song wasn’t bizarre either ;

What , Patsy doesn’t expect to wind up in a dumpster doing that shit ?

And with what must be hordes of drunks , junkies , and the criminally stupid or insane ,

this society yet managed somehow to manufacture things like typewriters.

Your typical typewriter , manufactured in 1905 , would , given spare parts , still work just fine over a hundred years later.

But , OK , none of us lived in that time ,

maybe typewriters are a fluke ,

maybe Patsy Kline and the Wizard of Oz are diabolically deceptive propaganda ?

On the other hand , there must be quite a few folks on CFN over the age of 50 ,

and so would remember a time when , not uncommonly , getting a job , whether the job was hamburger – flipper , or college professor ,

did not involve peeing in a cup , or a background check.

And while those days may not have been any safer , or any less polarized ,

any claim that today it is safer or less polarized is simply a God damned lie.

Presumably we need more Gestapo controls ,

though the empirical evidence of 50 years experience is clearly and unambiguously that at most the net GAIN has been ZERO.

At that need not involve theory , or a degree in history.

You were there , and can compare it to here.

So much of what we call ” Anarchy ” now IS what we had then.

And again , while it may not have been better or safer then ,

it is certainly not better or safer with these controls.

    For those wondering-

projection, the mental process by which people attribute to others what is in their own minds. For example, individuals who are in a self-critical state, consciously or unconsciously, may think that other people are critical of them.

We’ve got our own war raging right here on the streets of Hartford: 4 people shot last night in a drive by shooting. This comes on the heels of the latest ‘Hate Crime’; a black State Senator claims his house was hit by gunfire. Initially, activists claimed it could be nothing else but a Hate Crime, but now it turns out a gun battle erupted in his neighborhood and stray bullets were flying around. It’s been about a year since the latest Hate Crime Mania around these parts. That was when ‘Nooses’ were showing up at an Amazon Warehouse construction site. News coverage was intense; the Gevernor got involved, a Hate Crime Commission was launched. Most certainly, the Klan was riding in suburban Connecticut. Then, after about a month of balls to the wall coverage, the story was suddenly dropped. Not a word about it. Total silence. One must assume it was another Hate Crime Hoax, but who knows. It could have been a Union Aktion too.

And yesterday our Police Chief issued a warning: Don’t assume the youngster in your driveway at 3:00 am, stealing your car, is not armed. Apparently, Eagle Scouts coming out here from Hartford, Waterbury and New Haven are finding handguns in cars they previously stole, and are putting them to good use. What a bonanza for Homey, tho, huh? You get yourself an Audi, AND A GLOCK in the same score!

Not even to speak of his “policies” which strengthen organizations like the Mexican narco cartels who are involved in things like slavery and mutilating opponents. I’ve said for a long time the Democrats have plans for Stacy Abrams even though she has no real record of electoral victories:

“Abrams now says she’s worth $3.17 million, according to state disclosures filed in March. That’s compared with a net worth of $109,000 when she first ran four years ago.

Her rapid ascent into millionaire status corresponds with her rise in national politics. Since her 2018 defeat to Republican Brian Kemp, Abrams has become a leading voting rights activist. She was considered as a potential running mate to President Joe Biden and is widely credited with organizing voters in Georgia to help him become the first Democrat to carry the state in the presidential vote in 28 years. Along the way, she has earned $6 million, mostly driven by $5 million in payments for books and speeches.”

      Don’t forget Tranny Story Hours…

$3.7 million, that’s all? Skilled wordsmith and charismatic speaker that she is, you’d think she would be worth at least $50 million. I mean look at the BLM honchos; they’ve been able to turn a few slogans like “F#kk the Police,” and “Kill Whitey” into a fortune large enough to buy mansions in suburban LA, Miami and NYC.

      • MrMangoOnMyShoulder April 5, 2022 at 1:34 pm #

Wasn’t she the one who faced scrutiny/controversy because she had tons of personal debt when she was running for office? Or am I mistaking her for some other non-charismatic stand-in activist/wanna-be politician?

        Can’t recall for sure.

But if so, it seems she got that problem rectified.

          Your memory is right —

“When Democrat Stacey Abrams first ran for Georgia governor in 2018, her lackluster personal finances and a hefty bill from the IRS gave Republicans fodder to question how she could manage a state budget when she struggled with her own debts.

As she launches a second bid this year, that’s no longer an issue.”

This is the leadership the Democrats are lining up for us. The only possible reason she’s being protected and paid is she’ll do exactly as she’s told.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder April 5, 2022 at 3:40 pm #

Taxes are a slight bit higher when you have $3.17M to account for. Let’s hope she writes a whole lot more books (childrens’ books, if we’re lucky!).

I was also thinking it was more of a conflict of interest to be in a position of financial authority when you have untended debts, as it not only makes you unworthy of handling the public funds…but also makes you more likely to pilfer from the purse to take care of yourself.

This is the leadership the Democrats are lining up for us. The only possible reason she’s being protected and paid is she’ll do exactly as she’s told.

Yep. Not a bad gig if you can get it, I suppose.

        I saw this,

Since January, two full term healthy babies have been found in different garbage dumpsters with their umbilical cords still attached. They’re now just squatting , dropping and tossing them away like a BM.

I live near UCSF. I even had a neighbor who was a UCSF doctor.
The aborted babies are not valuable to doctors unless they are in the third trimester.
Unless a UCSF doctor is able to aquire a third trimester baby, best born alive, they will not get government grant money to experiment on them.

Think how dangerous Biden might actually be.

He was to tap the strategic reserve a million barrels a day to drive down gas prices.

One thing I have absolutely noticed about the current Mob in DC is their total dedication to their way of thinking, no matter who gets hurt. It almost seems suicidal.

If I wanted to destroy fossil fuels no matter who gets hurt, one place to attack is any reserve for petroleum. Everyone knows what the strategic reserve is for, to supply our military in case of an oil cutoff, strategically. If depleting the reserve IS on the agenda, someone better impeach this SOB before he succeeds.

    • SoftStarLight April 5, 2022 at 2:55 pm #

How dangerous Biden might actually be? Now are you joking JohnAZ lol? Biden is intentionally drawing down the strategic reserve just like he has intentionally destroyed the economy, the border, the dollar, the military.

The whole point of the fake installed Biden illegitimate regime is to totally destroy and wipe out America forever and ensure the American people are forever enslaved. Why do you think they went to the trouble of stealing the election?

Joey decided politics was much safer soon after that and went another way. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Not real clear what went down in Sacramento besides a high casualty rate and gallons of blood shed. Some kind of crazy dustup outside of a seedy nightclub in the bad side of town. Words exchanged, guns drawn, shots fired. Why talk things out? By the looks of it — and the facts are not in yet — it was an out an out, old fashioned gunfight. Dead and wounded appear to be vaunted ‘People of Color’, both black and hispanic, which in itself might be a clue what this was all about.

No charges. It took the guy several days to die so that means there is no relation between the punch and his death, right?

Think if a man did this to a woman, they would analyze it in the same way?

Justice that is not blind is no justice at all. This is like the action back in the Jim Jones compound in Guiana. His pleasure and the cheering when a woman knocked out a man. He was so far ahead of his time. If he had only had the courage to endure, he would have been vindicated completely.

  86. Q. Shtik April 5, 2022 at 9:20 pm #

I have to laugh at my own compulsive disorder… the correcting of other people’s writing mistakes. To wit:

A week ago two cars collided at the corner I live on. One spun out of control and rammed into a railroad-tie retaining wall on my property causing some damage. I was unaware of this until a police officer came to my front door and took me to the wall to show me the damage. He advised me to wait one week until the Police Crash Report was fully processed. Then I should go to the police dept and get a copy and call the insurance company of the driver at fault. He gave me the Case # that I should refer to.

Today marked one week. When I told my wife about the clown show of my visit to the police dept she was “in stitches” and said she wished she had a video of me telling the tale.

I entered the PD thru a double set of doors and straight ahead of me was a thick plate glass window behind which I knew there was an officer at a computer (I had been to this place on a prior occasion) acting in the role of a receptionist but no light was on in his/her work space… why, I have no idea.

I barely detected the movement of someone behind the glass and barely heard his or her question as to the purpose of my visit because 1) I am borderline stone deaf and 2) there is only a slim sliver of an opening at the bottom of the plate glass thru which sound could pass. I slowly came to realize this receptionist was directing me to another office to my left rear in which a woman worked at a desk. This office also had a thick plate glass with a slim opening good only for passing envelops or documents through. At least her office was normally lit.

I lowered my mouth down nearer the slim opening and began to explain my purpose there. She mainly gestured that she couldn’t help me almost as one might do if it was their first day on the job. She asked me some questions as I pointed to my ears and said “I’m sorry, I don’t hear well.” After some effort I was able to convey the case number in question. She entered the number in her computer and printed out a 4 page doc titled New Jersey Police Crash Investigation Report and slid it through the opening to me. While this was happening other people were entering the building for unknown other purposes. There began to be quite a commotion.

One person was a grizzled white guy, mid 50s, wearing a baseball cap backwards (clearly cultural appropriation). He was obviously agitated as he waited for someone to appear from the inner sanctum that he could pour out his guts to. A second person was a polite Jew (with beard and permanently affixed Yarmulke). He stood in a corner with some papers in hand waiting for someone to help him with his business.

I left, got in my truck and began to pour over the details of the crash report looking for Insurance Co. names and phone numbers. Couldn’t find them, nor were there phone numbers for either of the two drivers of the vehicles in the crash. I got out of the truck and crossed the
street to re-enter the police dept. I went again to the woman in the lighted office behind the thick plate glass. I guessed it was a half inch thick and probably bulletproof. She tried to tell me something but I pointed at my ears and said “sorry, I can’t hear.”

With barely disguised exasperation she pulled a 14″ yellow legal pad from a desk drawer, tore off half a page (I was impressed with this frugality) and began to write everything she wanted to say if only I had been able to hear. She wrote 4 sentences in tidy printing as follows:

A police officer would be able to
speak to you about the accident.

    – I can not give out any other
    information I can only provide
    paper reports.

    – Please wait and a office will
    help you.

Thank you and I will let
    them know your your
    involvement in case 22-001234

I went and sat to wait in the only chair in the lobby area. People came and went. The guy with the backward ballcap went into a conference room with an officer but didn’t close the door. He began a heated rant. Several times he demanded that a certain person be arrested immediately “that afternoon.” His head would frequently snap around and stare at me out the open door as his rant continued. It was as if I was the person he wanted arrested.

I waited bemused and amused for the arrival of “a office” who would help me. Eventually a female officer came out. She went to the Jewish guy in the corner and asked if he was the gentlemen who couldn’t hear. He had no idea what she was talking about. She looked around, I caught her eye and said I think you may be looking for me. But she wasn’t particularly helpful and called on a second female officer who totally knew what she was doing. As she made notes on a page of the crash report I stared at the vast array of equipment attached to their uniforms and especially their belts: a hand gun, two extra 16 cartridge clips, handcuffs, flashlight, radio, and god knows what else. I asked them about “all that stuff” and they groaned and said “you get used to it.”

I thought about pointing out to the woman in the lighted office that “a office” should have been “an officer,” that I would have used either a comma or a period after the word information in the second sentence and that her last sentence had the word “your” written twice in a row in error.

Then I thought better of that idea.

In the meantime a woman came out from the back and retrieved some paperwork from the yarmulke-wearing Jew in the corner. Good things happen to people who wait patiently.

I send out emails to multiple people everyday asking for assistance with this or that in the course of my job and almost always get no replies whatsoever, – Disaff

As I recall the later years of my working career, it was about 20-25 years ago that email became a serious problem in the corporate world. Executives in particular, but really almost everybody including facilities maintenance folks, found themselves inundated with email and it was becoming impossible to read all of it , much less reply to it.

I car pooled with several guys one of whom (Rick B.) was a high level engineer, in fact he was honored as engineer of the year in a large high tech defense contractor company. This guy would work on his laptop both coming and going unless it was his turn to drive.

He was out of the carpool for a day or two for an “offsite.” This is a meeting held somewhere other than on company premises because the powers that be know that that is the only way their attention can be “undivided.” Upon his return Rick told us about a key subject of the offsite… how to deal with all the email. The gist was to scan the names of the senders and mark for reading and response only those emails from higher ranked employees. The rest were to be ignored. The ignored senders, it was assumed, would show up at your office door if/when they became desperate enough.

        • Disaffected April 6, 2022 at 8:01 pm #

Sounds about right. I know quite few people up here who do that, so I never email them. They’re usually low level managers who just push shit off on someone else anyway.

I’ve found that I can get through all of mine with just a quick scan. Most are from staff flunkies just posting program shit because that’s their job, “Safety’ and now ‘Wellness’ being far the worst of the bunch. Filter those out and everything clears up considerably.

‘Wag the Dog’ comes to life:

Pope kisses Ukrainian flag, condemns ‘the massacre of Bucha’

VATICAN CITY, April 6 (Reuters) – Pope Francis on Wednesday condemned “the massacre of Bucha” and kissed a Ukrainian flag sent from the town where tied bodies shot at close range littered the streets after Russian troops withdrew and bodies poked out of a mass grave at a church.

The deaths in Bucha, outside Kyiv, have triggered a global outcry and pledges of further sanctions against Moscow from the West.

“Recent news from the war in Ukraine, instead of bringing relief and hope, brought new atrocities, such as the massacre of Bucha,” Francis said at the end of his weekly audience in the Vatican’s auditorium.

‘Russian Atrocity” news out of eastern Ukraine is growing more and more outrageous and strident. Some comrades remain skeptical; I’ve seen claims that much of it is staged. Right now there’s no way of knowing (what the truth is)

The West has no intention of engaging Russia in any war — fearing it could escalate into a nuclear exchange — so one affect of these brutal atrocity stories is to stigmatize NATO, the UN, the EU and so on, as weak and ineffective. I think Zelensky enjoys rubbing the West’s nose in its inability to respond.

Is this ghoulish, or what? Not to mention cosmically absurd (you have to be vaccinated to die with dignity . . .)

Story is from November 2021, but I reckon the same rules are still in place.

German euthanasia group says it will only carry out assisted suicides on people vaccinated against Covid-19

    # German euthanasia group has said prospective clients must comply with 2G rule
    # Requires people to be fully vaccinated or have recently recovered from Covid-19
    # Clinic said rule applies to clients because euthanasia involves ‘human closeness

A German euthanasia group has said clients must be vaccinated against Covid-19 before they can undergo assisted suicide.

German Euthanasia Association Verein Sterbehilfe has announced prospective clients will have to comply with the country’s 2G rule – where premises can choose to deny entry to those who are not vaccinated (‘geimpft’ in German) or who have recovered (‘genesen’) from the virus.

The clinic said euthanasia and preparatory examinations require ‘human closeness’ meaning that under German law everyone involved must comply with the 2G rule.

‘Euthanasia and the preparatory examination of the voluntary responsibility of our members willing to die require human closeness,’ the Association said in a statement on November 19.

‘Human closeness, however, is a prerequisite and breeding ground for coronavirus transmission. As of today, the 2G rule applies in our association, supplemented by situation-related measures, such as quick tests before encounters in closed rooms.’

It explained the decision was based on the ‘difficult task of balancing the protection of our members, employees and doctors with the practical organization of our everyday life in the association.’

Around 68 per cent of Germany’s 83 million population are full jabbed and about 10 per cent have had a booster dose but officials have branded a recent surge in cases a ‘pandemic of the unvaccinated’ (stock image)

Verein Sterbehilfe said euthanasia and preparatory examinations require ‘human closeness’ meaning that under German law everyone involved must comply with the 2G rule

The 2G rule has sparked controversy in Germany, where premises are also given the option of following the 3G rule – which means those who can present a negative coronavirus test can also be served.

The rules apply to leisure, cultural and sporting events, and hospitality venues as well as to body-related services and hotels. It allows premises imposing the rules to drop mask-wearing and social distancing rules.

Several million German adults are still not yet vaccinated, and authorities have tried to incentivise them to take the jab through punishing measures such as this.

Germany reported another 45,753 new coronavirus cases and 388 deaths on Tuesday, but the seven-day incidence of cases per 100,000 people fell slightly for the first time in three weeks.

The Robert Koch Institute for infectious diseases reported that 452.2 people per 100,000 were infected in the last week, down from 452.4 on Monday and the first fall since early November.

The number of new cases was still 427 more than a week ago, but the pace of weekly increase has been flattening in the last few days.

As German hospitals have been swamped by the fourth wave of the pandemic in recent weeks, Germany has introduced restrictions on unvaccinated people and sought to ramp up the roll-out of booster shots.

Chancellor Angela Merkel, her designated successor Olaf Scholz and regional leaders are due to meet on Tuesday to discuss how to respond to the crisis, especially after cases of the new Omicron variant were detected in the country.

Many politicians have been calling for tighter restrictions as intensive care units, especially in eastern and southern Germany, reach their limits.

In February 2020, German lawmakers overturned an earlier ban on assisted suicide in a landmark ruling at the country’s top court. The judgement decided a 2015 law banning professional assisted suicide was unconstitutional.

The milestone decision raised eyebrows by explicitly stating that people have ‘the right to a self-determined death’, and that the right to assisted suicide services should not be limited to the seriously or incurably ill.

The verdict was a major victory for terminally ill patients, doctors and assisted suicide organisations who brought the case, complaining that the existing law went too far.
Assisted dying is a sensitive subject in Germany as the Nazis used what they euphemistically called ‘euthanasia’ to exterminate around 200,000 disabled people (stock image)

Assisted dying is a sensitive subject in Germany as the Nazis used what they euphemistically called ‘euthanasia’ to exterminate around 200,000 disabled people (stock image)

It is a sensitive subject in Germany as the Nazis used what they euphemistically called ‘euthanasia’ to exterminate around 200,000 disabled people.

The existing law, known as Paragraph 17, was passed in 2015 and aimed at barring associations dedicated to helping patients wanting to die. It also meant medical personnel faced prosecution for prescribing life-terminating drugs.

In 2017, a lower court ruled that officials could not refuse lethal medication in extreme cases, creating confusion among doctors.

The plaintiffs’ argued that Germany’s constitution guarantees personal freedom and dignity, which they said includes the right to choose when and how to die.

The court agreed, and found the restrictions imposed by Paragraph 217 made it ‘impossible’ for people to receive help from third party professionals in Germany, who faced a fine or up to three years in prison under then old law.

This left German patients turning to family members or loved ones for help, some getting life-terminating medicine from abroad.

Judge Vosskuhle said at the time those who wanted to offer suicide assistance must be legally allowed to, without however being forced to do so.

MailOnline has approached Verein Sterbehilfe for comment.
Where is assisted dying legal in Europe?

Assisted dying refers to both voluntary active euthanasia and physician-assisted death, when a patient’s life is ended at their request.
Only three countries in Europe approve of assisted dying as a whole: Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
The first two even recognise requests from minors under strict circumstances, while Luxembourg excludes them from the legislation.
Germany, Switzerland, Germany, Finland, and Austria allow physician-assisted death under specific circumstances.
Countries such as Spain, Sweden, England, Italy, Hungary, and Norway allow passive euthanasia under strict circumstances.
Passive euthanasia is when a patient suffering from an incurable disease dies because doctors stops doing something necessary to keep them alive.

I commented on an above Jarek post concerning WEF’ers overpopulation stances (observing that they have a point when they ask, “What do we need so many humans for?”).

Jarek responded with a “Lord of the Rings” quote… essentially, “Be careful about the hubris of wishing death on others… and Jarek continued with: “Of course this presupposes that we are made in the image of of God. You think we are just animals who got smart somehow, and that both life, consciousness, and intelligence all boil down to chemicals, ultimately.”

I don’t mind Jarek’s accusatory habit of dialoguing. He pre-emptively accuses to observe your defense. I consistently enjoy his commitment to engagement.

I’m not an atheist, and there is nothing in a theistic point-of-view that prohibits a perspective that human overpopulation is 1) possible, 2) occurring now, 3) demanding a human response, and 4) an aspect of the “divine challenge” to humanity, to be stewards of the Earth and learn righteous behavior in relation to creation and environment. The idea of the presence of the image of God in humans does not and never has (justifiably) implied that humans cannot, through culpability, mar that image and deserve death.

Of course, in relation to the WEF blandly dismissing lives which are in all likelihood more valuable to God than their own, an applicable verse might be, “remove the log from your own eye first; then, you might see to remove the mote from your brother’s eye.”

    cheers Jarek, CFN

    • Jarek April 6, 2022 at 12:07 pm #

Ok! Point taken. I didn’t know that you believed in something more.

Agree: Genesis says to be fruitful and multiply and to subdue nature. But that nature must be our inner one as well or we will not prosper, either inwardly or outwardly. Only so many people can live on Earth or in a given area, comfortably. The Fathers didn’t understand this. A new understanding is called for.

    • Jarek April 6, 2022 at 12:33 pm #

In my defense: How would I know? You never talk from a spiritual pov. It’s always something like: I’ll tip my hat to the Elite if they manage to kill of most of humanity. Your spiritual life is probably just a belief you keep in some corner of your mind. Any actual spiritual life is probably more a reverence for nature, its beauty and harmony.

Of course you could say that there’s going to be a mass die off one way or another, so you’re not entirely wrong by any means.

As you aver, we didn’t stay in harmony with ourselves, didn’t “keen the imago dei, so we can’t be in harmony with the Earth either.

      • gustafson.robert.22 April 6, 2022 at 12:58 pm #

My only point on the WEF is that seeing overpopulation as a current problem is one of the very few things the WEF do not have backwards. And, given the state of their majority opposition, they are kind of the only game in town for overpopulation-acknowledgement. As such, I do have to tip my hat a bit to them for this one thing only. If they were to succeed, flawed as there approach might be, it might be more desirable than the current general denial of overpopulation as a problem, and in fact, that success might bring population-issue-denialists out of their comfy caves finally, imo.

    The Guardian

Vladimir Putin has congratulated Hungary’s strongman leader, Viktor Orbán, on his decisive election victory, amid signs that European Union authorities will launch a sanctions process against Budapest that is intended to safeguard EU funds at risk from democratic-backsliding member states.

Two members of the European parliament said they expected the European Commission to launch the “rule of law conditionality mechanism” against Hungary, a legal process that could ultimately switch off billions in EU payments to Budapest.

EU countries that have government-controlled courts and captured state institutions can be deprived of EU funds, but the law has never been tested.

At the European parliament in Brussels on Monday, MEPs expressed shock at Orbán’s victory speech, where he hit out at “opponents”, including a characteristic dig at “Brussels bureaucrats”, but also Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy. The swaggering speech came just hours after the western world reacted in horror to the atrocities at Bucha and other towns near Kyiv.

On Monday, Putin offered his congratulations to Orbán, who is a long-term Kremlin ally, despite Hungary’s support for EU sanctions against Russia. “Despite the difficult international situation, the further development of a bilateral partnership fully accords to the interests of the peoples of Russia and Hungary,” a Kremlin statement said.

Britain’s Nigel Farage, France’s Marine Le Pen and Italy’s Matteo Salvini were also quick to congratulate Orbán. “When the people vote, the people win,” tweeted Le Pen, the French far-right leader, who is vying to unseat Emmanuel Macron as president in imminent elections.

EU leaders were conspicuously silent on a day when independent election observers at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) reported that the Hungarian vote was “marred by the absence of a level playing field”.

Czech foreign minister Jan Lipavsk?, a key regional ally, said he was “not satisfied with the election’s result in Hungary”, but had to “seek partners” in his country’s interest. “Hungary must choose its side, and whether they belong to the EU and Nato,” he said.

Anglin: Are you even allowed to leave the EU or NATO?

Jarek and Anglin: You thought that Democracy meant voting, right? Silly you. It means voting correctly – and that means for Globo-Homo and against Nations, Whites, and Christianity.

I think Tiger still has the instincts, but his skills have eroded. Then there’s the physical injuries he’s suffered the past few decades.

His troubles started out with a back injury, which led to a problem with opioids. Back injuries seem to be one thing professional athletes really can’t overcome; I cite Don Mattingly and David Wright as examples.

I have seen people wreck there cars and be charged by the police for all sorts of offenses even though no other party was injured. For example. I had a guy hit a deep puddle and careen off the street with his beater F150 and total his truck on a tree. Busted face, did not want an ambulance. Poor son ‘o bitch needed that truck. Cop wrote him up for speeding, lanes violation, etc. I tried to talk to the cop but he was a young whippersnapper and had no use for my common sense. Pissed me the fuck off. At first this bothered me. Why the fu*k would there be two y’s ending a name. As it turns out it is not unusual with Ukrainian words or names to have a double y ending.

I also Googled questions like “words ending in aa” and “words ending in bb,” etc. etc. I didn’t check all 26 letters of the alphabet but it seems you can find a word, name, or acronym ending in a double letter for just about every letter.

Fresh slaughtered chicken has an unforgettable smell. Not terrible exactly (except for the chicken, of course), but memorable. Dunking them in the scalding water to strip the feathers afterward is even more distinct. Old granny could kill and clean three or four end to end in about an hour or so, if memory serves correct. Gizzards and guts went to the other chickens, who eagerly gathered around and ate them up without compunction. Farm dogs got them some too, of course, but mostly went for the heads for chewing. Mmm mmm good! Quite a sight.

Just watched Governor Abbott of Texas take aim at DC re: Title 42. He just signed:

    1. Order to slow down cross border traffic by doing enhanced inspections, esp. trucks.

    2. Order to put the asylum crossers on buses in Texas and bus them to the Capitol Building in DC.

    3. Order to enhance the border using razor wire, it sounded like it may be used in rivers to stop swimming crossings.

He said that next week, more orders are coming.

Come on, Ducie, grow some cojones like Abbott.

Do I smell insurrection on the horizon?

God certainly has a sense of humor. He uses irony with great skill. He tricked the entire US government into petitioning Him to turn their hearts from their iniquity—for that is the biblical meaning of “bless” in Acts 3:26.

God Bless Every State and every Nation!

If a business – owner wants a ” Whites Only ” restaurant or laundry mat ,

why shouldn’t he / she be allowed to live that fantasy ?

And if you don’t like that shit , why would you want to patronize that business anyway ?

And if that same business owner wants to hire Cheerleader types , instead of competent fat girls ,

why would you want to work for that idiot and jerk anyway ?

Or again , if he wants to reward his idiot son or worthless cousin , instead of the ones who actually get the shit done ,

well , do you really think merit will EVER overrule love ?

As for the moral; aspect —

Isn’t the very definition of ” Stalking ” forcing your attention on someone who doesn’t want any ?

And really now , as fair and objective and dispassionate our judgements may be ,

is there never the less not still a big element of the arbitrary in our decision to send out a birthday party invitation to this one , but not to that one ?

“They also would like you to believe that the Russian operation is a flop. That is not so, though it surely was not a cakewalk. What’s left of the Ukraine army (including its Azov brigades) is cut off from communication, out of diesel fuel, out of ammo, out of food, and soon to be shut down altogether. When that happens, Ukraine will not be used to make needless trouble in the world.”

That is a hyperbolic claim without any evidence to back it. I do NOT think that the withdrawal from around Kyiv is part of a master plan to crush Ukraine in the East and South… as if they couldn’t have focused on Eastern & SouthernUkraine alone before 24 Feb 2022. Clearly, the plan to utterly defeat Ukraine and impose a regime change is out and the Russians have adjusted more to reality than they did previously. The terrorist actions in executing Ukrainian civilians undertaken by A complicating factor: Russian executing Ukrainian civilians in Bucha and elsewhere is unlikely to terrorize the Ukrainians into surrender. I think it will have the exact opposite effect. I don’t expect that many prisoners are going to be taken in this conflict moving forward…

I am skeptical about the above quoted claim given the many (speculative) predictions that this blog has made in the past that have failed to materialize from the reinstatement of Trump’s presidency after vindication over his election stealing claims, to Sidney Powell’s “unleashing a kraken” to the bio-warfare labs in Ukraine to … well, just about everything.

I expect that JHK Admin’s ultimate claim of a collapsing world economy will come to pass in the long term, but it is a gradual process right up to “it happens all at once,” and it could be another decade or two or three given our inability to look at the big picture. The current war in Ukraine is one part of this unravelling–and there will be other moments. I still expect that Russia can win this conflict (now that they have more realistic objectives) but it has now become a complete shitshow that could result in isolating Russian society like no other event since the Cold War.

“now that they have more realistic objectives”

      Bwa ha ha.

People who have been watching this situ unfold minutely—since Dec. 21—are not sure of Russia’s actual objectives.

Russia definitely has Plan A, Plan B, Plan C, etc., and will respond to facts on the ground.

But their final objectives remain known to them alone.
There is no indication that they have changed to “more realistic objectives”—that is, have felt compelled to change any of their plans. Why should they? They are winning on the ground.

Their main problem is the savage information war being waged against Russia and Russians. The Special Military Operation has ripped aside this veil, or perhaps a better image is, lanced a boil filled with this poisonous russophobic puss. This in itself is further evidence of the necessity of the Special Military Operation to clean up Ukraine and remove it as a trouble-making toxic factor in the international equation.

All else is ignorant BS or outright fake news from the MSM.

AFAIK, the most detailed SITREPs are those at The Saker blog, including much wise mulling among commenters.

The sum of all is, if we most truly enjoy the gift of heaven, let us become a virtuous people; then shall we both deserve and enjoy it. While, on the other hand, if we are universally vicious and debauched in our manners, though the form of our Constitution carries the face of the most exalted freedom, we shall in reality be the most abject slaves. Samual Adams

      • hustled enough April 6, 2022 at 11:30 pm #

Well, Islander, if by Plan A , Plan B, etc you mean that they have moved to an alternative that is more realistic than what they started with, then I agree with you.

The final objective… I don’t think he Russians have a clear idea of that apart from taking the East and South parts of Ukraine at the moment.

And as for a “savage information war” I would point out that the party you are defending (poor Russians! Misunderstood! How sad!) have been actively banning alternative opinions about the war being fought. You ain’t seeing that here–after all, you are a prime example of that reality!

As for the Saker blog, thank you for pointing out a Russian propaganda site. I find it helpful to get many points of view. That is something, ironically, that cannot be found in Russia, unless you want to risk years in prison…

Eliminate the NATO threat by securing the eastern portion of the country, and strike before the Ukrainian army launched its assault on the Donbass.

They have done quite well, and I suspect this will go down as one of the most successful military campaigns in history.

          Well Night Owl,
We will agree to disagree that this will go down as “one of the most successful military campaigns in history.” And we have zero evidence that the Ukrainians were intent on “assaulting Donbass,” given Russia’s presence next door! I think that would be fun !

Tennessee has a special interest license plate for just about every conceivable taste except Nazism or porn.

      For example , I have six different times purchased a new license plate not because my old plate was worn out , but because I wanted to collect that plate ;

A plate with a Black Bear on it. ( money goes to help preserve wildlife in the states State Parks and National Parks. )

Incredibly , Tennessee STILL has a plate with a Confederate Battle Flag on it.

      A Fraternal Order of Police supporter plate . ( What ? Isn’t my motto , ” Fuck the Police ” ?

      But I’m also extremely perverse ! 😀 )

And just lately Tennessee has come out with a Save The Honey Bee plate .

How many license plates are there that are gold and purple , with a cartoon Honey Bee on it ?

Naturally I am clearly not the only girl in the state who absolutely , positively had to get that license plate !

If Tennessee is not making a shit – ton of money off of its specialty plates ,

      then they are fucking hopeless.

      ANYWAY —

These days even every 8 – year – old is carrying around a main frame computer in their pocket ,

and there is an App for everything.

So why not an up – to – the – minute currency – converter App ?

And why can’t you buy that loaf of bread with Russian Rubles ,

      Mexican Pesos ,

      Tahitian commemorative coins ,

      Commemorative currency of Liechtenstein ,

and whatever it is called that the Syrians or Zambians call their currency ?

Think of how colorful it would be !

And wouldn’t it be fun ?!

Another Fun – With – Government Idea —

I sometimes like to play computer games , and I like to dabble in GIMP , and often I combine the two.

Years ago I was playing a nation – building war game set in the 18th Century.

I had an Austrian Emperor die prematurely , and his 13 year old Daughter came to power in the Hapsburg Empire.

( Actually I deliberately engineered that , but that’s another story.)

By the time she was 21 years old my girl was ready to rock —

        — in the best traditions of Brooke Shields , Natalie Portman , Natalie Wood , or Miley Cyrus.

( Power might not necessarily corrupt ? But power certainly royally fucks up a kid )

To celebrate her esconcement in the catbirds seat ,

she commissioned a portrait of herself as an avenging Germanic Catholic Valkyrie — NUDE.

I used John Singer Sargent’s ” Egyptian Girl ” as a base , made the skin pasty white , changed the hair to red , changed the face , and placed her hands resting on a two – handed broadsword.

I do believe it looked like the genuine article.

Still one of my favorite works.

        ANYWAY ,

if politicians are going to utterly wallow in corruption , perversity , and depravity ,

then there should be an un- written obligation to make a movie of it ,

an unwritten standard policy that it will be uploaded to Pornhub , and it will not be taken down.

So at least SOMEBODIES could get some fun out of it.

Back when America was somewhat real and alive, millions of women adored Liberace, seeing him as a normal man except more cultured and fun. He felt he had to sue when called a Homosexual, or lose his millions of adoring fans.

Nowadays, most women continue to adore gays, especially or even because they know they are gay. Proper conditioning kept this perverse feminine proclivity to a minimum.

The down side of this was men pretending to be straight, with women just thinking they had found a “nice” guy. Still happens I suppose, though much less.

    • Anthea April 7, 2022 at 2:06 pm #

      @ Jarek:

I have always enjoyed the company of gay men. They are usually very witty and amusing company. In my youth, I appreciated the fact that they were good dancers. Since they are constitutionally nonconformists, you can be open with them about your own non-conformity, so you get a level of unconditional acceptance from them that you will rarely get from other women and never from straight men. They are usually gentlemen–and not just in the sense of not grabbing your ass, but also in the sense of extending small courtesies. They are loyal friends that you can call in the middle of the night in an emergency.

And, last but not least, unlike straight men, you don’t have to be continually on your guard around them.

In more recent years I have found the political and social leanings of my one remaining gay male friend rather annoying. The guy has done a 180 since we were both in our twenties, when he was an arch-conservative Catholic (prayed five decades of the rosary every day, played the organ at mass for many years, and at one time planned to enter a monastery), anti-abortion, and a strong believer in personal responsibility. Now he’s full of stories of his gay victimhood and has lost his faith. This guy was my kids’ godfather! I want the old version back.

      • Jarek April 7, 2022 at 2:26 pm #

Bravo. You have explained the Foundation of the Womanist/Gay Male alliance against our civilization. Women like them! More than normal men. They’re funny – and women love to laugh.

So it goes. We shall die laughing. Great joy weeps. Great sadness laughs.

      • Jarek April 7, 2022 at 2:27 pm #

When women hate Gays again, that will be a sign, the green shoots of renewal. It won’t happen without a return to Patriarchy and healthy conditioning for women – and men too of course.

    I should have elaborated further.

If every genuine business is a monopoly , and all small businesses really are are a trifling bone thrown to the peasants so the idiots can pretend they are free ,

then , yes , ” Choice ” is the highway to Hell.

I’m not a fan of Thomas Jefferson , actually he utterly disgusts me,

but give credit , where credit is due .

    As I understand it , the philosophy of this plantation – benefiting slave owner never the less was , in simple terms ;

The ideal state is the largest possible middle class.

Or , baring that , the ideal state is where the largest number of working class are self – sufficient.

Granted , Jefferson lost that argument.

And people will say such a program is naively idealistic and unrealistic .

    Oh ?

Genocidal / mass suicidal control – freak monopolistic surveillance culture , every town basically a Jonestown ,

    is working out well ?

In my opinion , as I have stated before , if an honest – to – God perpetual motion machine was rolled out tommorow ,

And Alchemy succeeded in turning out free energy tommorrow morning ,

we would STILL be in deep , deep , deep , deep shit.

    Sure , freedom doesn’t work ,

    we are all still serfs.

But then ………maybe THAT is WHY it doesn’t work ?

To put it another way ,

perhaps the reason you never end up with anything but monkey children is because you never actually treat people like adults ?

    • Jarek April 6, 2022 at 11:55 pm #

Jefferson was the greatest political mind America ever produced. To be disgusted by this genius is surely an er-ROR (the Catholic pronunciation) of the greatest magnitude.

There are better or worse systems, ones that accord with natural law and human beings as they are, and ones that do not. But if I may preach to the assembly (not you): There is no system, no matter how good, that can function well without a high level of public morality. We, with our obsession with techne, love “systems”. Morality? Not so much, nay, hardly at all.

        I agree about Jefferson’s brilliance.

KesaAnna has not been specific about what disgusts her about Jefferson. Perhaps that he owned slaves, or perhaps because of his relationship with Sally Hemmings.

Thing is, slavery compared favorably in many ways with with the condition of white factory workers in the North, in the 1800s, and perhaps even with the condition of much of the lower end of the working class at present.

Sally Hemmings’ situation too compared favorably with the condition of many or most white women of Jefferson’s class in that era. To get an idea what their lives were like, “America’s First Daughter,” a fictionalized biography of Jefferson’s daughter Patsy, is worth a read.

Patsy was not very fortunate in her marriage–and, if I am remembering the book right, neither was Jefferson’s other daughter. Sally, on the other hand, seems to have had a secure and probably warm relationship with a genuinely decent and humane man who was one of the finest minds (and characters) of his age.

Few women of that era had much to choose from when it came to marriage, and to suppose that they were better situated than Sally Hemmings is fantasy.

If you don’t believe in the selfish logic of biological evolution, sign off CFN now and nitey-nite.

For the few left (and who might give a rat’s ass), if cheaters cheat and get away w/ it, they improve their chances of passing their cheating genes onto their offspring. Thus, cheating confers an evolutionary advantage.

What we have now is a situation where cooperation is impossible (despite MSM, the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time).

Cooperating genes DO have an advantage over cheating genes, but only if the genes aren’t naive, don’t let themselves be suckers, and ensure the cheaters get punished and punished hard.

Are you granting accredited degrees now too, TC?

    • Anthea April 7, 2022 at 2:56 pm #

Cooperation builds stable, high-trust societies. The stark, bare-bones reason why civilizations invariably collapse and die is because the “cheating” increases until the parasite kills the host.

I don’t know what this has to say about evolution.

” Next step: No national currencies at all. With your fan mentality, you have fallen into their jaws, meine frau. ”

Ever wondered how and why 13 British colonies wound up with U.S. Dollars , instead of U.S. Pounds ?

It’s a long story , but the currency most in use in colonial British America , by a very wide margin ,
was the Spanish Milled Dollar , courtesy of the literal mountain of silver in Bolivia ,

    product of Spain.

    Anyway , I’ll say this again ,

the proverbial Mark of the Beast was ALREADY ACHIEVED ,

    courtesy of the Income Tax.

That is , the legitimization of the idea that it is kosher that Al Capone , or Jarek , or even some guy in a coma ,

should be accountable to questionable me for every penny you have.

Except of course that last part is a lie ; Questionable me doesn’t remotely have such power.

Bill Gates might , though ?

They strip you naked every day.

You are completely desensitized to it , aren’t even aware of it perhaps ,

because these pedos have been stripping you naked in public since you were one hour old.

By the way , there WAS a time when none of that was true

( except for Blacks , convicts , women , tots , and other folks you presumably envy ? )

    and the sky didn’t fall.

What you are referring to would only accomplish STREAMLINING for the Utopians in power a circumstance already accomplished.

I endorse the Gold Standard ,

An end to interest – slavery ,

    A cash – only society

    And the patriotic and moral response to the income tax would be ;

” That’s none of your fucking business , you peeping – Tom sicko. ”

Instead , we say , ” that is none of your business ” to serfs ,

as if that makes any difference , or matters.

    The peasants revolt in Merry Old England back in the day was touched off when tax collectors got the bright idea in Kent one day ;

” Let’s pull down your 12 year old daughters panties , and see for ourselves if she really is an un – taxable virgin ? ”

    Today though ?

Where the Robber Barons are concerned , you have absolutely no shame ,

    as befits a Nigger.

    ” If a business – owner wants a ” Whites Only ” restaurant or laundry mat ,

why shouldn’t he / she be allowed to live that fantasy ?

because then the nonwhite firefighter may may slow walk them hoses when your shit is burning down.

    Or that nurse…

    Or that cop…

    you get the picture? ”

    Also a valid point .

    — except ;

Ronald Reagan’s slogan was , ” Government is not the solution to the problem .

Government is the problem . ”

    The problem ?

He scarcely practiced any of that shit.

    Also ;

Where is a cop when you need one ? ”

    And here’s where Whites and Blacks become twins ;

    BOTH complain about that.

And then both demand MORE of that.

    • Jarek April 6, 2022 at 11:57 pm #

No Blacks in America as per Jefferson’s Plan, then no such problems.

No one demands more and gives less than Blacks. Ask any one who works in a restaurant.

      • thwack April 7, 2022 at 8:23 am #

No Blacks in America as per Jefferson’s Plan,

        Except warming his bed

        Sally *cough* Hemming

      • benr April 7, 2022 at 8:52 am #

Such a broad brush you paint with.

I have seen that scenario play out a table of black people had an entire restaurant running around all but ignoring everyone else and they left a huge mess and a crappy tip.

My last job had a very nice polite soft spoken black man who would never have behaved like that in fact he is a Texan and one of my favorite people on this earth.
He is also far darker complected than most of the people who call themselves black in the United States.

        • Jarek April 7, 2022 at 12:15 pm #

Well I’ve met Black Africans like that too. Maybe it’s just that Black America culture is aberrant? With even their genetic setting altered that way now as well?

Yet Blacks have also treated Whites (and each other) horribly in Africa as well, in both Kenya and Southern Africa as far as Whites go.

I paint with the same brush as Jefferson. He wanted them gone. You can look that up if you don’t believe me.

          • thwack April 7, 2022 at 2:30 pm #

The United States with no black people is

Ukraine; just a bunch of Europeans arguing over who is superior/incharge…

until they start shooting each other…

Thanks to black people, you get to be a white person; and have someone to be in charge of besides another European, who sooner or later would slap the shit out of you….

            See how that works?

            *You’re welcome*

          • messianicdruid April 7, 2022 at 2:57 pm #

The United States with no Khazars is

America: just a bunch of people persuring life, liberty and happiness instead of being pitted against each other by greedy manipulating ungodly haters.

        • Jarek April 7, 2022 at 1:30 pm #

One doesn’t think about individuals per se when one thinks on this level. If you’re not willing and able to generalize, then you shouldn’t even try to consider these issues. And of course, please stop voting as well.

          • benr April 7, 2022 at 4:21 pm #

I vote using common sense and the belief that people should be held accountable for their actions.

That right there would set so much right if those two principals actually got used.

  116. KesaAnna April 6, 2022 at 11:40 pm #

    Also ,

a business MAY be a voluntary association.

But whatever may have been true 500 years ago , or 200 years ago ,

certainly today government is NEVER voluntary.

But then even Trump supporters deny elections are rigged.

      500 people say , ” You suck ! ”

      It is justice.

One person says , ” You don’t suck , you just get a raw deal. ”

      It’s a horrifically immoral slur.

I have never understood that math.

But then , yes , I totally flunked math back in the day.

No its not “JUST” skin color.
It is a culture of which many choose to opt out of but agreat many do not.

    Life Site News

AMV: In the United States, the Biden Administration is increasingly in trouble, and the President is increasingly showing his inadequacy; and yet, because of alliances and the intersection of interests at the highest level, it seems impossible to bring down this house of cards. What is Trump doing? Can you help us to better understand the American situation, on which you are an expert?

Archbishop Viganò: The Biden Administration is a mirror of the corruption that prevails generally in public affairs with no regard for the immutable moral principles of the Gospel. And if a politician who favors abortion, euthanasia, gender ideology, and all of the worst deviations dares to call himself a Catholic, we must ask what is the responsibility of the teachers, educators, and priests by whom this politician was formed. What did his parish priest teach him in his catechism lessons? What did his professor at his Catholic university teach him? What guidance did the future political leader’s spiritual director give him?

And this brings us back to our starting point: Vatican II, which instead of converting the world to the Church converted the Church to the world, making her evangelization fruitless. There was much talk of the “missionary Church,” but, simultaneously, preaching became the propaganda of fatuous philanthropic ideals, tired leftist ideologies, and empty pacifist slogans. And behold what has emerged from those Jesuit schools, the crème de la crème of Vatican II: people like Pelosi and Biden, who have nothing Catholic about them but present themselves with impunity to receive Communion to the applause of Bishops and even of Bergoglio himself.

The American Episcopate, too careful to please Bergoglio, has indeed been very careful not to condemn the Democratic Party platform, even though it did not hesitate to lash out against President Trump who, even with all his contradictions, definitely defended the principles of the natural law and the sanctity of life in a more effective and convinced way.

The Russian-Ukrainian crisis is showing us a Biden who is a puppet of the deep state, stubbornly preventing peace in the present conflict because he is too concerned with covering up his own scandals and those of his son Hunter: I am thinking for example of Burisma and the American interests in biolabs in Ukraine. If the evidence leads to the indictment of Hunter Biden and proves the involvement of his father Joe, impeachment will be inevitable and amply justified, and this could lead Trump back into power. If, in the meantime, the ongoing investigations demonstrate that there was electoral fraud [in 2020], Trump could be proclaimed President. And this would be a mortal blow for the deep state and the Great Reset.

    • SoftStarLight April 7, 2022 at 1:53 am #

Yes, Biden is a deep state puppet. It appears that the stolen election was literally all about establishing Barack Obama’s third, secretive, unconstitutional “presidential term” that he said in that higly publicized interview he wished for. Imo I think that spectacle the other day with Obama chatting it up with the inner circle while Biden was ignored was a flagrant in your face reminder that truly Obama is at the center of the machine and the regime. Kamala’s expressions and body language indicated to me that she takes orders from Obama and not Biden. Most nationalists and even the real grassroots ideological marxists utilized the opportunity to chuckle at Biden’s senility. But to me the way Obama and Harris and others treated Joe in that moment was actually totally gross and offensive. They literally mocked us by showing us that he is nothing more than their puppet and a means to an end. They are back in power and don’t care what we think. It is unraveling and it will all unwind. What goes up must come down.

      • Jarek April 7, 2022 at 12:03 pm #

Yes, it was an extraordinary scene. Everyone seemed to be in on it. Planned? Or just everyone sensing which way the wind is blowing.

A message was sent indeed. But of course putting him in office was a message too. Or a test which America failed by accepting him. I hope every person who voted for him feels stupid because they are.

  119. KesaAnna April 7, 2022 at 2:18 am #

” That’s whats going on in Ukraine right now; is that what you want? ”

I want a self – determined Ukraine for Ukrainians.

I want a self – determined Russia for Russians.

My perception is no third party really cares about either of them.

My perception is the only regime possibly , incrementally concerned about self – determination in any form is the Russian regime.

    The impression I get of the Ukrainian regime is that I’m reminded of the regime of Mobuto Sese Seko in The Congo ;

Under a mask of self – determination that regime is only concerned with looting that country and its people.

And if any number of Congolese , or any number of Ukrainians , or any number of Russians too , are fine with that , yes , fuck them too.

    So ,

” My perception is no third party really cares about either of them. ”

probably applies just as well to me.

I have repeatedly said that like and dislike , for example , are not big ticket items on my agenda.

I either offer you a good deal ,

or I offer you a bad deal.

And if the deal – breaker is that you don’t like my shoes , which you wouldn’t wear anyway , I think you are an idiot.
