A Tale of the Taco

Has anyone noticed, by the way, that the US is under an invasion of breakfast tacos…?

What to make of this bizarre headline out of The Washington Examiner?
First impression: well, that’s at least one they’ll send back.

The story continues: “U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has requested that the Columbus [Ohio] Police Department notify federal officers when 27-year-old Gerson Fuentes is released from custody so that he can be transferred to federal detention and begin removal proceedings in court.”

Say, what…? Released from custody? Removal proceedings? Why would you release a felony rape suspect from the jurisdiction of his crime? Which he has confessed to, by the way. And remove him — that is, deport him… out of the USA… to where exactly? And into what legal apparatus? In what other country? With what obligation to prosecute crimes committed elsewhere in the world?

Meanwhile, attention in the case had shifted to the doctor in Indiana, one Caitlin Bernard, who performed the abortion. Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita joined the rumpus: “We’re gathering the evidence as we speak, and we’re going to fight this to the end, including looking at her licensure if she failed to report. And in Indiana, it’s a crime … to intentionally not report,” Rokita declared on Fox News.

Days later, The Indiana Star newspaper said that Dr. Bernard’s rape report documents had been found. The New York Times added: “Kathleen DeLaney, a lawyer for Dr. Bernard, said in a statement that Dr. Bernard was considering legal action against those who had ‘smeared’ her, including Mr. Rokita….” You know things are bad in this country when the lawyers have to lawyer-up against the doctors who lawyer-up.

Speaking of medical matters… do you think anyone in authority will look into whether the rape suspect, Gerson Fuentes, was vaccinated at the time of these rapes (he raped the girl on two separate occasions)? Could he have transmitted SARS-Covid-19 to the girl? Somebody, please, alert Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra to make something positive of this dreadful incident, say, produce a public service announcement, to impress on Americans the urgent need for absolutely everybody to get vaccinated, including  undocumented rapists.

Perhaps confessed rapist Gerson Fuentes himself can make a personal appeal to the nation, since he will soon be released from custody, and, theoretically, be available to perform on TV: Puse en peligro a una niña! Obtenga su vacuna! (I endangered a little girl! Get your vaccination!). Put Gerson in a costume as…  a breakfast taco! — genius! — who doesn’t like them! Let’s face it, America’s sick and tired of seeing dour old Rochelle Walensky pitch the shots. She doesn’t look anything like a breakfast taco. More like a slab of beef brisket that’s been simmering overnight on the steam-table, minus the bun.

Has anyone noticed, by the way, that the US is under an invasion of breakfast tacos? So many of them, and so many kinds! Huevos con chorizoHuevos y tocinoHuevos con queso! The diversity is staggering! Oddly, the US fast food industry has remained silent on the issue, despite the threat to their operations. Someone, please, send a memo to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas: a mighty influx of breakfast tacos marches day-and-night across our border with Mexico. They are being distributed — for free! — by bus and airplane from sea to shining sea — while millions of Egg McMuffins, Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Croissan’wiches, Grand Slamwiches, Kickin’ Maple Chicken BreakFEASTs, Country Fried Steak Biscuits, Chocolate Chip/Pecan Waffles, and Texas Melts go uneaten, wilting under the infrared Glo-Ray warming bulbs of American franchise eateries.

The wonder really is: how can America even manage to eat breakfast with its head so far up its ass? Perhaps Dr. Jill Biden can address that question in an upcoming speech to the National Association of Colorectal Surgeons. Now that the mRNA vaccines have Covid-19 so well under control — ask Dr. Anthony Fauci (he knows!) — shouldn’t we be concerned with this new scourge of cranial rectosis (the next pandemic)? Have Americans been wearing their masks over the wrong bodily orifice? Is anyone conducting a peer-reviewed study on this?

Justice has nothing to do with anything except compliance with the narrative.

    • SW July 15, 2022 at 10:16 am #

And the narrative grows more bizarre and unhinged from common sense and common decency every day. Our so-called leaders (and their wives) have nothing of substance to say so they say nonsense like breakfast taco diversity. Sounds like Jill and Joey were made for each other.

I hope, if the Republicans take over both houses of Congress this fall, they’ll stop the war in Ukraine and build a statue to Joe Manchin. He’s all that’s stood between Build Back Better and Green Tyranny and complete bankruptcy of the US. How much longer this can be delayed, I don’t know.

      • JohnAZ July 15, 2022 at 10:48 am #

Someone needs to build him a statue. Then Soros can pay a bunch of Wokesters to tear it down.

      • Jarek July 15, 2022 at 11:47 am #

You’re not following the ball. Most Republicans are in favor of the war. They are “conservatives” who help to conserve the narrative.

        • SW July 15, 2022 at 12:12 pm #

The war in Ukraine isn’t popular and we’re sending billions (mostly in weapons) overseas. I’m hoping if Putin wants to make a deal, we’ll make it and stop using them as proxies. Probably a lot will depend on the energy situation and how desperate Europe is. We can declare victory (We brought Putin to his knees! He’s begging to negotiate!) and it will disappear from the nightly news.

          • Jarek July 15, 2022 at 12:22 pm #

True, but it popular among Republican politicians and media personalities with a few honorable exceptions.

They don’t care what the people think. We live in a Donorocracy, better know as Plutocracy or rule by the wealhty.

          • Not_GeorgeT July 15, 2022 at 12:41 pm #

I’m not so sure all these weapons are arriving where the mass media claims is their destination.

Sure is a lot of weapons and money.

Enough to make a bunch of people very wealthy.

Ukraine sells weapons on black market due to limited ability to use

          • Alzaebo July 15, 2022 at 1:56 pm #

I’m beginning to wonder if any of those weapons even exist.

I mean, why send 50% to your foreign bank account, when you can send 100?

          • Night Owl July 15, 2022 at 5:14 pm #

            Ukraine is the laundromat.

The money sent over there ends up in the pockets of the foundations and NGOs that help push the globocap narrative. And then some of it ends up back in the pockets of the criminals who sent it over in the first place.

            It’s the circular economy.

          • benr July 16, 2022 at 11:27 am #

Yep billions sent in millions sent back to line the criminal Biden family and the Democrat party supporters.
Prety sure a few RINOS on that list as well.

Paul Manfort worked with Tony Podesta in Ukraine.

            Another own goal.

Does Manchin have genuine patriotic feelings for America or is he just holding things up for a bigger payoff?

        Enquiring minds want to know!

        • Beryl of Oyl July 15, 2022 at 12:05 pm #

How old is he? The old ones who won’t leave the stage have something going that they don’t want others to know about, or they don’t want interrupted.

I exempt Donald J. Trump from this assessment, because although he is getting up there in years, he only just got into public office.

          • thirdcoastlegend July 15, 2022 at 12:08 pm #

Trump seems to have genuine patriotic feelings for the historic American nation.

        • SW July 15, 2022 at 12:15 pm #

He seems to care about his constituents and certainly about his chances to get re-elected. He’s a conservative Democrat from West Virginia — coal country. Born in 1947.

      • cbeard July 15, 2022 at 12:48 pm #

If the GOP wins this fall, you can be assured they will double down on the Ukrainian fiasco, then they will run a born again Rino for office when the next elections start. Business as usual until the people grow a pair.

    • elysianfield July 15, 2022 at 11:29 am #

      JAG,
Nice. Use “current narrative”, even better.

“Cranial rectosis”? I could have sworn that the diagnosis was recto-cranial inversion! Ties certainly have changed if ten-year-old girls can get pregnant, but then when so many are wandering into our open borders without any documentation as to their identities or birth details who can be certain of anything anymore?

Oh well the truth may be out there, but don’t hold your breath trying to find it. Personally, I am quite uncertain that it even exists anymore.

  2. cowbell81 July 15, 2022 at 9:39 am #

Breakfast tacos with some salsa, hot sauce, and a dollop of sour cream. Nothing more delicious than that. Thank you Joey B!

Seems like there is new taco truck in my small town every month. Guess people would rather make street tacos then get a real job.

      • Anthea July 17, 2022 at 5:44 am #

Food trucks are people engaged in small businesses. Small businesses are created by people who see something their community wants or needs, and they set about supplying it. This is the way an economy is supposed to work.

Getting a “real job” is where you go to work for “the company” in your company town, so you can “owe your soul to the company store.” Or at least you go hat in hand to “the company” to beg them for “a job.”

Work is not supposed to be something that somebody else gives you. And, for the most part, it wasn’t–until some time in the early 1900s. Most people planned to own their own businesses or farms. They did not plan to go to work for someone else. Getting “a job” was something a young person did in order to learn a trade or business, and to raise capital for starting their own business. No self-respecting adult planned to spend their life working at “a job.”

“Getting a job” is now pretty much the universal attitude towards work because we have an economy that is almost completely made up of a few huge monopolies. Everything possible has been done to destroy the small businessesman and the small farmer. Government laws, regulations, and tax structure advantages the big monopolies and disadvantages the small businessman and farmer.

The purpose of this is to deprive the people of economic freedom.

      • Anthea July 17, 2022 at 5:58 am #

Our host here is an example of a person who created his own job. He could have gotten a “real job” as a journalist for some MSM outfit that peddles propaganda.

      • Anthea July 17, 2022 at 6:10 am #

Operating a food truck is often the way people gain experience and raise capital to open a restaurant. It’s actually a very sound approach, if this is your goal. There was a guy in a town near me who operated a food truck there for several years before opening his restaurant. There are now several others who rotate days selling in several towns around here.

Some other people who operate food trucks travel all over the country to attend various events. Before gas got so high, this could be very lucrative, but you worked your butt off and lived on the road. A background being an over-the-road trucker was useful, in case you found yourself broke down on I-90 in the middle of South Dakota. (In which cas, I guess you’d know what to do.)

    We’ve hit the wall.

Have you noticed that writing logical, well thought out prose that offers commentary on the state of our affairs has become so depressing that you try to avoid it?

    We’re all Winston Smith struggling with 2 + 2

The only winning strategy is not to play.

    #FJB

    • Disaffected July 15, 2022 at 9:50 am #

I’m not sure that any logical commentary could begin to describe the current state of affairs. In that case, satire and open ridicule is the only remaining option.

      • Disaffected July 15, 2022 at 9:53 am #

        Q. corrections: …satire and open ridicule are the only remaining options.

        • megabeth July 15, 2022 at 10:11 am #

Nope, not when a pair of nouns is conjoined by `and’. Sometimes, anyhow. It has some Greek name with `di-‘ in it.

Don’t pick on Q! He’s showing admirable restraint.

          • Disaffected July 15, 2022 at 10:34 am #

New one on me. As a native speaker I usually just go with whatever sounds right when I read it back. Nope, not picking on the Q. Man. Just acknowledging his critical eye for these things. After all, he’s a Ruckers man! He’s got a legacy to uphold!

          • Islander July 15, 2022 at 11:01 am #

            Wrong.

Satire and open ridicule are two separate items, forming a compound subject.

            “are” is correct.

    • JohnAZ July 15, 2022 at 10:54 am #

Depressing? Depends on your point of view.

Lots of die hard Leftists think that Ol’ Joe is doing a bang up job. That is because they would not know what a disaster even looks like, Hiya Redneck.

If a turnaround will occur, it starts the 8 of November with a Red wave. First step, turn around the Congress, then impeach Biden and Harris. Then the GOP Speaker will be president.

How is that for a terror dream, Redneck? All the cabinet level incompetence would disappear overnight.

      • Beryl of Oyl July 15, 2022 at 12:08 pm #

A lot of people simply do not understand what is going on. Some people are very busy running their own lives, and many have a distaste for the ugliness of politics, so they scan the headlines in the paper, or listen to NPR news on the radio, and go back to the more urgent tasks at hand.

      • C.O.Jones July 15, 2022 at 12:40 pm #

Does anyone really believe we could vote our way out of this?

Dr Jill is most likely searching for a title for the book she is “writing” for the purpose of financing her upcoming campaign for preznint.

        Possible titles:

        1. I’m with Numb Nuts
        2. I Deserve This After 4 Years of Wiping
        3. Free Abortions For Tacos
        4. Cranial Rectal Inversion Syndrome – It’s Not Just For Preznints!

Seriously, anyone who thinks their vote means anything should just send her money now.

      • Bilejones July 15, 2022 at 7:40 pm #

” All the cabinet level incompetence would disappear overnight”

Only to be replaced by new cabinet level incompetence.

We need new elites. As the Z-man says often not one of them has ever had a real job. The entire Washington fuck-farm is staffed with Marie Antoinette’s.

    • patrickd July 16, 2022 at 10:43 am #

It’s not that hard, just be blunt. Like this:
The US is the worlds terrorist. It bombs militarily weak nations in order to steal all its visible wealth. 8-10 years ago Putin said Russia would no longer allow that, and then he stopped the US in Syria. Now he’s stopping the US in Ukraine. He’s not finished. Stay tuned.

      • Anthea July 17, 2022 at 6:48 am #

It appears to me that the present objective of global elites is to steal all the wealth of the US. This looting operation has been going on for decades and has just now come to the point where the global elites are closing in for the kill, intending to take all the marbles. “All the marbles” are all the real assets, land and resources being first and foremost.

The strategy, it seems, is to impoverish the American people so that they sell off the land and resources to the globalists for pennies on the dollar. This may include the vast federally-owned land. I.e., print a lot of worthless fiat and exchange it for real assets. I think we can be pretty sure that all the billions in funny money that is being printed up to send to Ukraine is going into globalist pockets. They’ll convert it to real assets before the money becomes worthless. The globalists will own the entire country–its land, resources, infrastructure, housing, any any productive enterprises–and the American people will be left holding worthless fiat.

Love the dripping sarcasm this morning! Very spicy! Try some fresh cut Pico de Gallo on them tacos to increase the burn! Bueno!

    • cowbell81 July 15, 2022 at 10:11 am #

Ghost pepper sauce would really leave you burning, literally at both ends, coming and going. May as well get used to that burn since the government continues to screw us from all angles anyway, and things likely won’t get better anytime soon.

      • JohnAZ July 15, 2022 at 10:55 am #

Wait 24 hours then things will really start burning.

      • Night Owl July 15, 2022 at 5:18 pm #

I love hot sauce. Have a bottle of ghost-pepper-derived sauce, and although my tolerance is high, I can barely eat more than a drop or two with a meal.

Some of the modern hot sauces are refined to the point that they are so hot that it isn’t fun anymore.

My go to sauces are usually made Habaneros. More than hot enough, and tasty.

        • Anthea July 17, 2022 at 6:53 am #

My favorite peppers are poblanos. A little bit of bite to them, but not too much. I used to be able to enjoy very spicy foods, back when I ate a lot of Indian food. If I didn’t break out into a sweat and my nose didn’t run, it wasn’t hot enough. But I’ve since lost my tolerance for hot foods. I recently dumped a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce into a chicken dish, and it liked to killed me.

        • Anthea July 17, 2022 at 6:58 am #

The poblanos in the garden are getting huge. I’ve never had such success with peppers before. I think it’s time to pick the biggest ones, but my daughter wants to leave them to see how big they’ll get. We also have some jalapenos and Hungarian Hot Wax (an impulse purchase from Morgan County Seeds).

My daughter is so thrilled with the way the peppers are thriving that she wants to plant two 50-foot rows of them next year. Might be too much.

Here is what to do, wait until all the emigres are here, then move everything from here to there, wherever there is. They can have this wasteland which it will be by then. You are right about Russia, maybe East Europe as Russia knows how to protect itself from invasion.

Raped by white masters? What a joke. They could then upgrade from field to house, and their kids stood a better chance of learning to read, the same as medieval serfs under prima noctis. It was welcomed.

  10. Suburban_elk July 15, 2022 at 10:32 am #

The headline is unclear: did the ten-year-old seek an abortion after being raped? or more likely, was the rape only incidentally related, to her seeking an abortion? and since when do ten-year-olds get pregnant, and even if when they do, don’t they almost never come to term? unless they’re black?

There have always been young girls capable of becoming pregnant. There aren”t as many who do get pregnant for a reason, that being civilized societies tend to from on adult men having sex with little girls.

The idea would be to keep the young person from having to go through the ravages a pregnancy and childbirth would inflict on her body before the almost inevitable miscarriage (spontaneous abortion).

      • Beryl of Oyl July 15, 2022 at 12:21 pm #

BTW, when a 9 year old turns up pregnant, there is no “alleged” about a rape.

They’ve also seen how well Russia has done in Syria and Ukraine.

They’re ready to pull the plug on the petrodollar, and this week’s visit may be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

Prince Salman is a mere 36 years old, but he is the de facto ruler of Saudi on behalf of his 80+ father.

A few years ago, he imprisoned his rival princes in a hotel, then had the security service hang them upside down and beat them to figuratively shake their wealth out of their pockets.

Someone that young who can wield power so effectively in that type of society is not someone to be trifled with.

He never was going to get a damn thing….,even if he wasn’t already on the Saudi’s shit list….which JB most certainly is.

The truth is that the Saudis couldn’t increase production by 2mbd if their lives depended on it. They’ve been lying about their reserves and their ability to boost production for decades. They told old Joe “no” because there was no other answer they could give. If Biden had a functioning brain left he could have saved himself this humiliation by just telling his Energy Secretary to fuck off and re-opening the leases and the pipelines on this country. Problem solved in months…..but the scarecrow has no brain and it’s unlikely the Wizard of Oz is gonna be able to provide him with one before things gets much worse here.

Tacos dont understand they are one part of a meal, and that if people didn’t want the other stuff in the meal then the taco becomes irrelevant.

Crumble tacos – its the only way to be sure.

Noting that Jim’s first in-person talk in over two years will be presented to the Metropolitan Republican Club reinforces my belief that America is undergoing another political sea change, as has happened at a few earlier junctures in our nation’s history.

I have never been willing to register as being in either of our vile, corrupt political parties, but until Obama took office had pretty much always found the Republican candidates enough worse for me to vote consistently Democrat.

Now we are finally seeing large numbers of young adults, Hispanics, and men of all sorts switch their voter registration from blue to red, with only college-educated white women remaining resolutely in the Blue No Matter Who camp.

As things stand I am nowhere near feeling comfortable with joining the Koch Brothers in the Republican Party (yes, I know David has died, but their evil legacy will live on long after Charlie joins him) but the single absolutely reliable thing about politicians is that they like to get elected.

I predict that, starting at the grassroots level, increasing numbers of political aspirants who actually give a damn about working people will start to rise through the ranks of the Republican Party, the Democrats will find their Clintonian business model in shreds, and rich white liberals will find themselves holding the short end of the stick for the foreseeable future.

I am still waiting for Chipotle or some other franchise or local restaurant to come out with a mocking Breakfast Taco menu item to draw more attention to this issue.

  18. TaxDonkey July 15, 2022 at 11:12 am #

To me the taco comment sounds no different than the flowery word garbage that their speech writers always churn out. What’s different is that the threshold for triggering people is so much lower now, even from what’s supposed to be their own team. In this instance, maybe they spent so much time promoting black victimhood all the while woefully underfunding the “Latinx” grievance industrial complex. Pandering with a couple of stupid lines in a speech doesn’t cut it. These limousine liberals don’t appear to know the difference between illegal aliens and patriotic Mexican-American citizens who aren’t really on board for having their (American) businesses and communities undermined by mass illegal invasion.

    • Disaffected July 15, 2022 at 11:33 am #

Most important question that hasn’t yet been answered though:

For tacos in general: soft shell or hard shell?

        • Jarek July 15, 2022 at 11:59 am #

The hard shell breaks and is useless as Chet said. If you want something hard and crunchy, get chips and salsa, a compound object.

        • Paula D July 15, 2022 at 12:31 pm #

Someone here said before, or maybe it was more than one commenter, something about the people at both ends of the abortion issue being extremists.

I remember back in 2012, the Republicans successfully used the abortion issue to help throw the race to Barack Obama, when they all of a sudden decided to start talking about rape.

It earned them the label, Rapepublicans, and deservedly so.

I remember criticism by some ardently “pro-life” conservatives, of a couple of elected men they called “purists”, because these men said they would not allow a rape or incest exemption to abortion.

What that did, to me, was expose the conservatives as phonies, because if you realy think abortion is murder, you wouldn’t support murder of a child for any reason (except maybe by bombing places they live in well after they are born).

So, they aren’t against abortion per se, because they are fine with it as long as it isn’t the female’s “fault” that she got pregnant.

Expect to see a lot of states voting on whether or not they approve of women’s sexual behavior.

As Freud and other have said, control of feminine sexuality is essential for civilization.

But yes, life is a bourgeois compromise for the most part. One Catholic woman who died in order to give birth is a candidate for sainthood. Most of us wouldn’t demand this of female people. A reasonable standard of morality will suffice. Those – and they are legion – who demand that women be held to no standard of morality are the enemies of civilization.

  21. Beryl of Oyl July 15, 2022 at 12:00 pm #

An example of an extremist- a Right to Life attorney:

” 10-year-old Ohio girl who crossed state lines to receive an abortion in Indiana should have carried her pregnancy to term and would be required to do so under a model law written for state legislatures considering more restrictive abortion measures, according to the general counsel for the National Right to Life.

“She would have had the baby, and as many women who have had babies as a result of rape, we would hope that she would understand the reason and ultimately the benefit of having the child,” Bopp said in a phone interview on Thursday.”

    https://hotair.com/headlines/2022/07/14/auto-draft-657-n482853

Bopp is a good name, because if this were my 10 year old he was talking about, he would get a bop to his face with a sledgehammer.

Colossal ignorance. COLOSSAL. Yet he writes laws for governments to adopt.

    • cowbell81 July 15, 2022 at 12:15 pm #

I wonder if there would be a way to craft the laws to require an ID check before obtaining an abortion. If you have an out of state ID from a non-abortion state, then you cannot get it in a state that allows abortion.

Or they would just do something like the pot dispensaries: “Ok, I see you have an out of state ID here. Just be sure you consume all of this within this state, okay?” **wink, wink**

      • Beryl of Oyl July 15, 2022 at 12:31 pm #

I heard that North Dakota’s fake conservative governor was going to try to prosecute anyone who mailed abortion drugs into her state.

Lotsa luck with that one, Kristi. Interdiction keeps fentanyl out real good, doesn’t it?

        • Oscar Gordon Hawkins July 15, 2022 at 12:56 pm #

It is strange how they can’t stop fentanyl but they can stop Ivermectin.

          • SW July 15, 2022 at 3:19 pm #

@Oscar — It was easy to stop ivermectin since the people targeted were law-abiding citizens and had licenses to protect. Doctors were not allowed to prescribe it and pharmacies not allowed to fill it. But some governors ignored it and the doctors who wanted to prescribed to the pharmacies that carried it. Fentanyl is completely unregulated of course and the war on drugs is over. The drug lords won, hands down, with only a few show trials to pacify the public and then business as usual.

It’s never on the news how many people have OD’d but the covid numbers just keep on comin’ and the pressure to vaccinate children hasn’t slowed down too much. Expect ads to pick up before school starts.

Ivana Trump, the Czech-born ex-wife of former President Donald Trump and the mother of Ivanka, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, was found dead at her New York City home on Thursday afternoon. Ivana’s body was discovered following a report of cardiac arrest at her address, with law enforcement officials saying later in the day that there did “not appear to be any criminality” involved.

    Great post.
It reminded me of an incident a few years back.
In the great “home has no hate here” days the liberals tried to make our county a ”sanctuary county”.
But an illegal alien had brutally butchered an entire family in a small town (pop. 100) in this county and their friends and relatives showed up to the county meeting to oppose the resolution.
They were labeled ”racist” and slandered as horrible people by the liberals.
Seeing the contrast between the shitlibs and the surviving family members is probably why the resolution did not pass.

“Racist” and “misogynist” used to mean that a man would disparage and even impede ALL of an entire race or sex universally and unfairly to the individuals of that race or sex.

In efforts to correct this unfair treatment, the pendulum has now swung WAY too far – past equality and to the ridiculous point where any individual black or woman is now above accountability as any criticism whatsoever lest their criticizer be swiped with the label of the ironically stigmatizing “racist” or “misogynist” thus validating and even encouraging all sorts of despicable behaviour from fully-entitled assholes.

      • Paula D July 15, 2022 at 1:58 pm #

        Illegals trump black people.
I judge this on the propaganda we are fed.
A few years ago an illegal, who had already been deported twice, ran over and killed a black high school football player. Whoa! Black and played football? I would think that would trump anything.
But it didn’t. The propaganda favored the drunk driver who was here illegally.
It’s like trans trumps everyone else. There is a hierarchy.

    • Jarek July 15, 2022 at 1:39 pm #

Thank you for putting racist in quotations marks. It’s natural to favor one’s own people just as one favors one’s own family. That’s what a real nation is, a family writ large comprised of people related by blood and culture.

      • Paula D July 15, 2022 at 2:02 pm #

        We’ve never been that.
We’ve always been a group of people who left their homes and families and came here.
My grandmother told me that when she told her father she was going to the US he was opposed and told her that he would not see her off if she did. But she went with her husband, which you should approve of. (She was still mad at her husband about that decades later.)
As the ship pulled away from the dock she saw her father standing there watching her leave, with tears running down his cheeks.
        She never saw him again.
That is the story of almost everyone who came here before the 70s.

A collection of people is probably the more accurate term.

Just a random group of humanity? Uh, wrong. America was comprised of White, European Christians. That’s having quite a bit in common.

The Indians and Blacks were never considered as potential citizens by the Founders.

The purpose? To get the United States to where is now. It was a fork in the road and we took the wrong fork.

A Nation is a people, not a place. If a hamster is born in a goldfish bowl, is it a goldfish? Not by the Laws of Nature. And who designed Nature? God.

No, I think that the only thing holding us together was the belief that we were a free country and the staunch support of the Bill of Rights.
White and Christian a bond? Are you kidding me? Do you know that the KKK hated Catholics as much as blacks? Have you ever seen the fights between the Christian sects?
White people did not consider themselves white until late in the century when we were told by our overlords that we were white.
My husband and I used to joke about being together and how weird it was, because he is Irish and I am English, so we are supposed to be enemies.
My childhood neighbors were Scottish and I knew Poles and Greeks and Armenians and Mexicans in school. Everyone defined themselves by where their ancestors came from.
My husband and I only started joking about being white sometime in the 90s.
Have you ever watched the Last American Vagabond? He is smeared as being white although he is Lebanese. Same thing happened to Ralph Nader.
White is not an accurate category, it is a smear used to attack people who the shitlibs do not like.

          • Jarek July 15, 2022 at 4:21 pm #

Oh so White isn’t real? That would have been news to the Founders. They weren’t always talking about it because there was no need. They were all White and no one considered the non-Whites to be of significance.

Lebanese as White? No, they’re Arabs or Southern Caucasians for the most part. Not White.

Yes, these categories aren’t airtight, but that doesn’t mean race isn’t real. Color is real, right? But don’t the colors merge gradually into other colors on either side of the spectrum?

Many women stake claim to both sides of the coin. They take full advantage of shaking their little money-makers while also bitching and complaining that they are sex objects.

        • cowbell81 July 15, 2022 at 1:06 pm #

For sure. If I was a woman, I would much rather look and feel sexy, and have others know and think that I am sexy, highly desirable and a hot commodity. This as opposed to looking like and feeling like nothing more than a fat old ugly sow that no guy would want the time of day with.

          • Oscar Gordon Hawkins July 15, 2022 at 1:21 pm #

Yes. And many (if not most) behave in exactly that manner. It is their hypocrisy of dolling up to be a sex object and then bitching that they are a sex object that “fries my ham.”

Also, due to this very same dynamic, it is the fat and the ugly and the dried-up childless old hags that, conversely, are misandric. They bitch and complain about men after years of boys and then men not calling.

Ugliness is so very repugnant and they know it … but that knowledge only makes them still uglier. It is a vicious cycle until a lonely death.

            In response to Paula D:

If I was a single free wheeling female, having random men think I am sexy would empower me, and validate my beliefs about how good looking and desirable I actually think and know that I already am.

Even as a man I really do appreciate it when a woman tells me that my shirt, pants, hair whatever looks nice. It does not happen very often because I don’t think most women are in the habit of dispensing such commendations on random members of the opposite sex. However, it makes me feel better about myself.

Personally, I am not one that would ever go out of my way to compliment and lust after any particular woman. I attribute this to many things that occurred in my past, namely a lot of rejection and dismissive attitudes that girls had towards me when I was growing up. I was always a perfect gentleman, always conscious of their feelings and wanting to make things right in a relationship. I guess this doesn’t mean much any more, since they all wanted the loud mouthed macho guys that had absolutely no class. I would rather not deal with it and spare myself the rejection, or at least the fear of that rejection.

Personally, I don’t like to get or give compliments. It makes me uncomfortable and self-conscious.
Also I am oblivious to my surroundings, including people. I don’t notice what they are wearing or how they look other than a vague sense, including ‘male or female’. I don’t expect people to notice what I am wearing either, and am always surprised when they do.
That is probably why I don’t recognize people I have met before. Just never really looked at them.

          • Anthea July 17, 2022 at 8:40 am #

            @ Oscar Gordon Hawkins:

The idea that women “doll themselves up” to be attractive to men is a mistaken notion. Women’s personal adornments have no more to do with appealing to men than does their desire to have nice drapes, good china, and silverware that matches. This is to some exent and expansion of the feminine preference for cleanliness and order, and is probably hard-wired into us. We have evolved that way, because cleanliness and order helps prevent illness and accidents and promotes longevity.

The talent and predilection for the creation of loveliness is an inherent feminine trait. Women get dressed up even when there are no men in their lives, nor any desire to have a man in their lives. The elderly widows still go to the beauty parlor once or twice a month (or more) to get their hair done, and they show up at church and social events wearing face powder and lipstick, a new dress, and nice jewelry. You won’t find a lot of men at the DAR meeting or the book club or the historical society. (I suspect this is because the men fear that someone will eventually expect them to bring cupcakes.)

Men just aren’t wired this way.

Once when our family was dining out, we overheard a bunch of young guys in conversation at the next table. I commented that it was an extraordinarily puerile conversation. My daughter explained that, “They are IT guys.” So I asked, “But why are they dressed like Whizzo the clown, and my daughter replied, “They don’t have wives.”

          • Anthea July 17, 2022 at 9:51 am #

            @ Beryl of Oyl:

“Men see being desired by the opposite sex differently than many women do.”

            Women see this VERY differently.

For starters, the vast majority of male advances are decidedly unflattering. E.g., when my daughter and her husband first moved to their new home, one of their (married) neighbors began calling her when her husband wasn’t home. She also suspected he was lurking around the property at times, when her husband wasn’t home and she was outdoors doing chores. (Her in-laws bought her a .38 pistol, partly for this reason.)

Another time, when she was at my house mowing the yard, a neighbor guy came over and began hitting on her under the pretext of “helping” with the yard work. He was undettered when she mentioned she was married. Plus the guy was extremely trashy. Another former neighbor guy made such a habit of hitting all the younger women in town (married or not) that he acquired the reputation of being a “creeper” within about two months of moving there. He was a big fat slob of a guy. The only time I ever chatted with him, he asked me if I had any single daughters I could hook him up with.

And there you have examples of about 99% of male advances.

When I lived in NYC in my youth, I was accosted by some guy three times in every block, on the average. (I made it a point to keep count a couple of times when I was out walking.) These were guys who were looking for a prostitute. This was on the Upper West Side in the middle of the day, so it seems like they should have looked elsewhere. I found that the only way to get rid of them was to get extremely rude and be extremely loud about it, so that other people around would notice. I found that if I didn’t get extremely rude, the guy would follow me home and try to force his way into my apartment building.

I once had the owner of a shoe store offer to give me a pair of boots for free if I’d go in the back room with him.

So, no. Women are not pleased or flattered by male attentions. They might be, if the time, place, and circumstances indicated that he had honorable intentions, and she knew the guy be a decent man.

          • Anthea July 17, 2022 at 10:43 am #

            @ Jarek:

“This is how they win, Al. Men get worn down and just give in.”

If you are finding that your attentions to women are rebbuffed–and that goes for Cowbell and others here–see my comment above.

Are you behaving in a friendly way in the right time, place, and circumstances? Do you have honorable intentions? Are a person of known good character?

Or are you calling up your neighbbor’s wife when her husband isn’t home, hitting on your neighbor’s daughter because she’s alone in the back yard, and following strange women down the street and accosting them? Have you hit on every female in town and asked all the old ladies if they have any daughters? When you are chatting up a woman in a bar, do you commence the conversation by asking her what she likes to do in bed?

Or, to sum it up, are you a pig?

          • Jarek July 17, 2022 at 4:42 pm #

Ant, my comment had to do with feminine argumentativeness not hitting on women. Learn to read more carefully, bigot.

          • Anthea July 17, 2022 at 6:59 pm #

            @ Jarek:

I directly quoted your comment (copie and pasted it): “This is how they win, Al. Men get worn down and just give in,” which was made in response to Alzaebo’s comment: “Exhausting. The gauntlet would get to anybody.”

Note that neither of you said what you were referring to.

Alzebo’s “gauntlet” could refer to just about anything. Since the subject under discussion here is unwanted male attentions that OG and Cowbell believe women to be inviting by making themselves attractive, I assumed that both you and Alzaebo were addressing the matter under discussion. Silly me.

I.e., I supposed that Alzaebo’s “gauntlet” was the problem of being rejected when, in his opinion, any woman who is well turned-out and attractive is presenting herself in this way in
order to “come on” to him, or to men in general.

In other words, you have all these women going around flaunting their attractiveness in public–at the grocery store, the beach, and the mall–and Alzaebo has learned the futility of walking up to them and hitting on them in while they are gracefully, seductively, and suggestively caressing the peppers and avocados and shifting their weight from one foot to the other (which will cause a person’s hips to move) on their dainty little feet, which are clad in revealing flip-flops and adorned with toenail polish.

So I assumed he meant THAT gaunlet–the one where he’s a kid in a candy store and the goodies are all out of reach, and the proprietor keeps slapping his hand and threatening to throw him out.

There are ways to go about finding a woman to share your life. Unfortunately, the way men generally go about this is the way a hood rat goes about obtaining a nice car: by hanging around mall parking lots waiting for an opportunity to hot-wire a nice one and go for a joy ride. And then he is surprised that the car’s owner holds him in low esteem.

But, leaving that aside, you will find it helpful when carrying on a conversation to say what you mean, to express yourself clearly.

This is a very common male problem. Their verbal skills are often very poor, and they are hardly ever very good. (Could be why women are able to “talk you down.” Learn to talk.)

The other two problems are an inability to engage socially with other people or be emotionally responsive to other people, and poor emotional control.

Add all this up and you have just diagnosed an autist.

I once told my daughter that I had concluded that her dad was a high-functioning autist, and she replied, “I think all men are.”

There are probably ways to manage an autist, if you have one in the family. I suspect that you must repeat things to them over and over, carefully train them in social behaviors, not allow them to dress like Whizzo the clown, reprove them when they commit social gaffes, work with them on language skills and conversational skills, and generally micro-manage them. Do NOT assume that they are adults who are able to manage their own affairs and conduct themselves decently.

          • MaryQueen July 17, 2022 at 8:37 pm #

@Anthea great points made re: why women dress up.

It has to do more with personal pride and self-esteem than impressing men. And yeah, men do NOT understand that. Sometimes, it’s even to fit in with or compete with other women. Or show status.

Some women do dress for men, but in my experience, they are a minority. Some women dress for shock value, and that’s to sort of buck the system. Again: Not to entice men.

Anyone who adorns themselves, grooms themselves well, dresses well, etc. is showing a healthy sign of self-appreciation.

So funny some dudes up here think it’s all about them – it’s so not.

          • MaryQueen July 17, 2022 at 8:44 pm #

@Anthea, also, this idea that when we age, we miss the ‘male attention.”

I love having less male attention so much. I absolutely LOVE IT.

That being said, even though I’m 58, I still get creeped on! It never ends.

I was trying to walk my dogs in peace at a local park, and this dude starts walking and talking with me which was fine to have a little neighborly chit chat for a few mins but then because I was friendly, he totally leeched onto me. And then, he started talking about my looks and my body!!! WTF. NO WOMAN wants that. I was so repulsed. I got in my car and drove away. And now whenever I see him I stare him down and he pretends he doesn’t see me. What an asshole.

            @ MaryQueen:

            Quite true.

I’ve done plenty of “dolling myself up” in my time, but I never did this to attract men.

The love of colors, textures, form, scent, plastic arts–all the arts–are part of the feminine nature. Working with these things gives women pleasure. If we’re lucky, we have a face and body that serves as a good canvas. The female form is in itself a thing of beauty.

I get immense pleasure from mixing soap colors and have a bushel basket full of micas, lakes, and clays. Enjoyments like this are mostly unknown to men, because most of them are at least partly color-blind. (I don’t think I’ve ever known a man who could see the full range of colors.)

We do not fix ourselves up to torture men by dangling our luxuriant beauty in their faces and then withholding the coveted pussy they’re looking for. Beauty is our nature.

I’m in my 70s, and I still get men coming onto me. In some cases I know their life circumstances are difficult–and I think people in these situations are seeking a distraction or escape, often subconsciously. Sometimes fancying yourself in love is the only thing that gets you through tough times–just by virtue of giving you something else to think about.

I’m not unsympathetic. But neither am I a charity organization.

          • Anthea July 18, 2022 at 10:08 am #

On the subject of color-blindness, young women should be informed that most men are color-blind–perhaps in the high school Home Ec class, or maybe in a science class.

This will save them from spending many years believing that the men in their lives are either retarded or disobliging. (You ask them to hand you the blue scarf and they hand you the green one. You think, “WTF?”)

One of my male acquaintances sells siding for houses, and once he was bitching on Facebook about how husbands always wanted to defer the final decision to their wives. I pointed out that most men are at least partially color-blind. You CANNOT let them make decisions that involve color choices.

I don’t think most men know that they are color-blind. They just know that if they venture to make color choices about anything at all, their wives will be horrified. And since their wives don’t know that the problem is color-blindness, they will think that hubby is either retarded, disobliging, or really likes ugly shit and wants to inflict it on his family, or wants to dress like Whizzo the clown to humiliate her.

AOC had the bad habit of bringing sex into every statement she made about Repblican or conservative men. She seems to have quit that, after Candace Owens called her out for saying “filthy” things.

Maybe AOC is just horny and perverted because her new husband isn’t cutting it anymore, nor giving her exactly what she wants? There should be a Congressional inquiry into this, her constituents are concerned and want to know!

See my comment above. Are you making friendly conversation at the appropriate time and place (church or social and community functions)? Do you have honorable intentions, or are you just looking for some pussy? Are you known to be a man of character? Or maybe known not to be?

Also: Can you carry on a conversation? Do you have wide-ranging interests? (Being interested many things helps you to carry on a conversation.) Most men are not interested in anything at all, except maybe pussy. And, no, your favorite alcoholic beverages are not an interesting subject.

As far as “released from custody”, I assumed it meant after he served his time for the rape conviction. But, I could be wrong. When I lived in an MS-13 infested neighborhood the MS-13 guys would intimidate the local gangs by saying “If I kill you I get deported to El Salvador and then return, if you kill me you go to jail for a long time.” By the way, the MS-13 gang never bothered people who weren’t in their business, I wouldn’t know they were around except for the lurid news articles and the occasional shootout. I heard about their interactions with the local boys from jury duty.

I expected to see jokes about Gerson Fuentes doing the job that heritage Americans are reluctant to do.

    • cowbell81 July 15, 2022 at 2:09 pm #

Interesting point about the deportation vs long jail time depending upon immigration/nationality status.

If we could re-write the laws, there should be a loophole of no consequences for murder of illegal immigrants. This would provide a field day for many, bounties would also be placed on their heads. This would certainly provide many sanctuary cities a “Purge” like narrative. I bet this would also deter many from leaving their hell hole countries to begin with.

Sorry, druid, frustrated at the child’s or tribal sheik’s level of morality.
Your great sages sound like kindergartners, to be honest.

Maybe that’s all most people are ready for, keeping things simple and direct. It allows folks to get to their day to day.

For instance, such an edict prevents vendetta from eating a town alive.

The difficulty is, like a child’s morality, it works only up to a point. And if conditions change- say, going from a 92% white society to an anti-white bias- then it works against the citizens and for the occupiers.

No disrespect, I mean that, but that’s why Christian reading of the Bible was confounded. The rulers want their lessers confused.

The rapist lived in the same apartment with the child and her mother. It seems safe to assume the mother’s lover raped the nine year old under the not-so-watchful eye of the mother. The mother no doubt helped to muddy the waters in the early days of the investigation to protect her paramour.

      • cowbell81 July 15, 2022 at 3:03 pm #

These things happen more frequently than most people realize.

However, this particular instance could have quickly gotten rather complex. If all had worked out, could the baby to be have become an anchor baby to this illegal immigrant?

Donald Trump was right about one thing in that speech his opposition called him out on: “They are sending their rapists into the USA.”

        When you’re right, you’re right.

        • Beryl of Oyl July 15, 2022 at 3:42 pm #

Then the Left wanted sympathy for the women coming here illegally, because they were getting raped along the way.

        • MaryQueen July 16, 2022 at 11:50 pm #

Seems to me, someone picked THIS particular case to exploit. Child trafficking and child porn and child sexual abuse goes on all the time, last I checked, 1 in 4 children are molested.

So, then we have to ask why THIS case is such a big deal.

I will venture to opine that it is politically expedient for someone.

“The rapist lived in the same apartment”

Ah. Now the truth finally comes out.
No doubt you are correct, Hawk, many, many gals now share their girls with the welfare boyfriend.

That’s a cottage industry in the vibrant, diverse part of town.

One brother was a public health nurse in Dallas. Every month, black aunties would bring in a some 12 or 13 y.o. girl and complain, “we been tryin’, but she ain’t takin’, and the breeder wants to know why,”– the breeder being the male.

They were wondering why the girl wasn’t pregnant yet.

The man with with the most children in the US is black, unemployed, has 43 offspring, and no home of his own.

His job is to go from house to house on the ladies’ network. They take care of him until the girls or women are impregnated, then he’s off to the next house.

“Has anyone noticed, by the way, that the US is under an invasion of breakfast tacos? So many of them, and so many kinds!”

    Enjoy this while you can.

Eating breakfast AT ALL will soon be a distant memory for those privileged souls in The Indispensable Nation. Food sources are disappearing… Americans’ wallets are evaporating… and store shelves are emptying and restaurants won’t be getting deliveries.

Chickens are following the lead of the Railroad Workers and will soon be declaring a Foul Strike. No more eggs. Not until the clucker’s salary and benefits package are renegotiated and the foul’s debts are forgiven or restructured.

And the wheat and corn crops are under stress and supplies will be dwindling. Yet another metaphor for the disappearance of ‘All We Loved and Cherished’ in this Woked-Up Age of rampant nonsense and lawlessness.

“The wonder really is: how can America even manage to eat breakfast with its head so far up its ass?”

Never has such a blessed Nation fallen so badly and utterly as The Indispensable Nation ‘whose Lifestyle is not negotiable!’ Well… sorry… looks like it is TOTALLY negotiable. Downward.

Those who purport to represent America took all those boundless blessings and for the past 100 years has pissed them all away. And when They were done pissing those blessings away, They chose the American People as a new target for their liquid dispensing.

They say that one should not be showered upon with foul waters and call that rain. Well, much of America is in the grip of such a terrible drought that plenty of areas would welcome such a shower.

It’s surprising what begins to look good once our expectations have been lowered and trashed beyond recognition.

And if America’s collective hind-quarters are where its ‘head’ is… at least we begin to understand where our decision-makers are getting their ideas from.

Funny you mention that, GA. Suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, wrong way drivers have become a big problem in this state — that is, motorists getting their cars up on the interstate headed in the wrong direction — thus causing catastrophic head-on collisions. There have been at least a half dozen of such accidents since January, killing at least 15 people.

Nobody seems to know the cause of this sudden development.

        • Beryl of Oyl July 15, 2022 at 4:24 pm #

Speaking of sudden developments, i’m sick of driving down the street and having the stench of weed waft back at me from the vehicle in front.

          • cowbell81 July 15, 2022 at 4:37 pm #

Indeed, you have to wonder. If that’s the case I would like to crack a few bottles of brew to keep hydrated while I drive.

Was walking my dog the other day and could clearly smell weed passing a house, and I was like 200 feet away from the house. You know you have a problem when that is the case.

I went to Venice in 1977 – I was living in Grenoble at the time and we had a fantastic drive over the Alps, stopping overnight in Briancon.

I think that was probably towards the end of the period when you could go to Venice without your visit being ruined by the number of tourists. And now they’ve got those horrendous mega-cruise ships the size of a town docking there – I don’t know why they allow it.

I went again in the early 90s, driving a group of rather rough school pupils from Edinburgh in a couple of minibuses, on a European camping trip, and it was already way worse in terms of the number of visitors.

Now, if I want to revisit Venice, I’ll just enjoy one of Donna Leon’s Inspector Brunetti novels.

Yeah, as if a “medical cannabis certificate” is akin to an international passport, recognized and respected by all nations throughout the world. Time to lock her up for 30 years and keep her working in those coal mines! Better yet, get her to the uranium mines for work on the missiles Russia is stockpiling!

      • BackRowHeckler July 15, 2022 at 4:15 pm #

CB, look up how the US DOJ treated Maria Butina (who is now a member of the Russian Duma) Apparently the case received a ton of publicity in Russia, both her political prosecution and the shabby treatment she received in Federal Prison. No doubt Russian prosecutors and courts are determined to show these international games played out in criminal justice system works two ways, not just one way. Griner is a pawn, just like Maria Butina was a pawn.

    • Oscar Gordon Hawkins July 15, 2022 at 4:05 pm #

Are you saying that if you had a medical cannabis certificate that you’d keep it to yourself at your cannabis possession trial?

      If so, who’s the dummy?

      • RelativeGuise July 15, 2022 at 4:41 pm #

People think paper is the clue. I sit here with my chores done. The dummy thinks English and Chinese are enshrined eternally in Heaven. I mention chores to assume the dummy, but there is also 24 hours in a day. It’s not Biden. The amount of conjecture about the man is nauseating. I have to tell someone that Joe grew up in America. Oh don’t give me that on cue. Phony government stooges. If I shone out to the six foot Moselman right now, who’s gonna care. Science will tell you all day everyday they can’t prove or disprove God, so you’re telling me that it all adds up to Joe and his time before a camera and his inability to handle all the hate and slander and glitched sound bits that go his way. Eight decades? If it is God, Joe shames this guy but does to him what he would do to his own son. English rose out of the twelfth century. It is not eternal.

      I had posted this upthread:

“Ivana Trump, the Czech-born ex-wife of former President Donald Trump and the mother of Ivanka, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, was found dead at her New York City home on Thursday afternoon. Ivana’s body was discovered following a report of cardiac arrest at her address, with law enforcement officials saying later in the day that there did “not appear to be any criminality” involved.

—-Why is our population so apathetic and submissive? What can be done to wake up our people?

Unfortunately, a high percentage of our population is mentally fragile On the other hand, those who are not fragile have brilliant and alert minds. In my view, there is little that can be done to awaken minds: those who are awake were awake already long ago. For the others , I see no remedy.

I’ve seen and heard of very little in the way of ill effects of the vax, which puzzles me. I’ve heard second-hand of two probable vax deaths and one stroke over the past few months.

I suspect the reason is, first, that I’m in a thinly populated rural area and I don’t get out all that much. Secondly, I think the vaccination rate in this area is low, with the main partakers of the vax being the old/elderly. Thirdly, I doubt that anyone experiencing ill effects from the vax would tell me about it.

My son-in-law’s rather large family is all vaxxed, but one. Neither he nor my daughter are vaxxed. I haven’t heard that any of them have had any problems. One old city friend takes every vax and booster he can lay his hands on. He recently told me he developed skin cancer on his scalp and had it removed.

What I do hear a LOT about is people getting crushing headaches from contact with people who were recently vaxxed. This happened to me after contact with the son-in-law’s family. My next-door neighbor had to stop attending his church because he got crushing headaches immediately after attending–every time. Another friend told me that he got a crushing headache after going to his recently vaxxed barber. He said one side of his head swelled up alarmingly. My son-in-law recently got a bad headache immediately after a get-together with his vaxxed family.

Donald Trump’s first wife dies after falling down stairs at New York town house
Ivana Trump has died at the age of 73, after being found ‘unconscious and unresponsive’ at the bottom of the stairs in her New York home.

The socialite and ex-wife of the former US president Donald Trump, is understood to have been found around 12.40pm yesterday by a member of staff. It is thought she may have fallen down the stairs of her Manhattan residence after potentially suffering a medical episode, however, no official cause of death has been given.

The death is not considered suspicious and Ivana is believed to have passed of natural causes, according to officials

Also, the sentence ‘police said there were no suspicious circumstances’ somewhat gets my goat. What could be more suspicious than endless teens, twenties and thirties just dying for no apparent reason?

A Fox News report I watched suggested that the rape may have been a hoax staged to drum up support for abortion laws in the oight of the absence of information. However, JHK’s article says that a suspect has been found. If it really is a set-up then it would makle sense to get him out of the way.

The famous X Case was one of the first steps in teh process to removing Ireland’s constitutional ban on abaortiion. (The vote to amend the constitution had been passed gettin on for 40 yars ago, from memory, by concerned citizens wprroed tjat ore;amd would og the same way as Britain (early 70s from memory, and only for exceptional cases of course) and other formely civilzed counries.

X (who could not be named because of her young age) had been raped by a man in Dublin and had been prevented by law from travelling out of the country to undergo the ‘procedure’. This is always the way, they begin with the ‘hard; cases as a gateway to abortion on demand.

As it happened, the case came up in conversatoin with a colleague at work today (very few attend the office these days). It was in the course of a short lecture I was treating him to about why you cannot believe anything in the media. He was startled when I flatly contradicted his statement that athere is discrmination against American blacks. He listened to my demolition of the claim with some interest but I doubt it had any effect. I am his boss and he has been helpful in getting cardboard boxes for me so I can store my emergency food supplies.

Anyway, we talked about how a well known Gaeilic footballer had been identified as the cuoprit in the X case by an extraordinarily widespread rumour. A number of people had told me at the time that he was known to have done it. Of course, it turned out that th etory was pure invention and I was ashamed to have given it ears.

My colleague told me it had had a very bad effect on the player. I supposed it had ruined his life for years. A good example of the madness of crowds, just like Jimmy Savile. (I just had to add that punch line didn’t I?)

No smoke without a fire. I recall Máirtín Ó Cadhain’s fine lecture Páipéir Bháa Agus Páipéir Bhreaca, where he mentioned that his upbringing in the Conamara gaeltacht in Co. Galway entitled him to be an object of study by folklorists. There were a lot of ‘piseogaí’, superstitions, such as the custom of never lighting a fire on May Day until you saw smoke rising out of the distant chimneys in Co. Clare on the other side of Galway Bay. Arguments would be settled by quoting old saws against youro oppoenent and whoever ran out of them first was the loser. when you think about it, this is not very different from the public discourse of our time.

For decades Joe Biden told a sad story about how a drunk truck driver killed his first wife and daughter. It ruined the man’s life.
It wasn’t true. The truck driver had been fully cleared of liability.
It didn’t matter. The media continued to repeat the story as if it were true.
Biden apologized to the man’s daughter (after he died) for lying, and then carried on lying.

      • Sean Coleman July 16, 2022 at 4:56 pm #

Thanks. I did not know that but I will make sure I rmember it. It reminds me of one or two other stories that I cannot think of just now. Hold on, one is Elizabeth Warren’s Indian heritage. And another one has just come to me. It is also from Joe Biden! I think I heard it on a Colin Flaherty podcast (I used to really enjoy them). I think was Biden anyway. He always said he finished high in his law class at university whereas he was he was well down in the bottom half. If that wasn’t Biden then who was it? But I think there is a better one that I can’t think of.

    • MaryQueen July 17, 2022 at 7:39 pm #

Indeed, OG. There are people reportedly having a malaise and falling off things or dying while swimming. One young woman on a night out fell off a ‘horse’ on a carousel/merry-go-round and died. She didn’t fall very far so she quite probably had an attack too. Lots more single-vehicle crashes too, it seems, which isn’t going to make the motorways very safe. AI identifies rocker Geddy Lee’s mother in Holocaust photos

Rockstar Geddy Lee found never-before-seen photos of his mother’s family thanks to a new effort to apply artificial intelligence facial recognition technology to photographs from the Holocaust.

Lee’s mother, Holocaust survivor Mary Weinrib, died last summer at 95 years old.

But the researchers of the AI technology, From Numbers to Names, managed to find a photo of Weinrib from her time at the displaced persons camp in Bergen-Belsen — a photo that then led Lee to find other photos of his mother’s extended family from the Yad Vashem photo collection.

Around the same time the news about Ivana circulates so does a warning from the intel community that Iran is planning to take out officials from the Trump admin including President Trump as retaliation for the hit on General Soleimani. I’m having a lot of doubts about the narrative right now.

    Happy Saturday!

Covid virus showing up again both in the world and on this blog.

Covid does not kill, s protein kills. Inflammation kills in reaction to s proteins. S protein kills no matter the source. Every evolution of the virus or the booster is going to kill people. Vaxxed people counted as having less effect on outcome may be people that would not have had bad effects anyway. The last bastion of the vaxxers may be as fraudulent as all the rest.

You want to fight back? No.1 do not get near the shot. No. 2 get your facts together and continue to talk to you friends and family. You need to counteract the lies of the Fauci-Bidenites by reinforcing the truth.

The really deadly truth is that if a certain level of on board s proteins triggers heart problems, your immune system will trigger no matter what the source. Stay away from folks during outbreaks and wash your hands to avoid s proteins or flu proteins or cold proteins. And stay away from the vaxx, that is one thing we have total control over.

Fool me once, shame on you

Fool me twice, shame on me.

After 2.5 years of ducking, dodging, weaving and avoiding COVID I finally caught the latest highly contagious variant that’s been going around in May and June. Came down with it on July 1st. I never took any of the vaccines prior to this infection. I am 60 years old and about 40 pounds overweight. First 4 days was the worst of it with fever, fatigue, sinus, migraine headache. Then it let up some and transitioned to the COVID Cough BS. On Day Seven (7) I received an infusion of synthetic antibodies. It took about 4 days after that to see a real difference but now I’m on Day 17 and I am pretty much 98% recovered with just a wee bit of cough lingering.

All in all, a very unpleasant experience, but nowhere close to being life threatening in my case. I still have no regrets about avoiding the toxic jabs and feel that my native immune system performed admirably well under the circumstances. I only took the infusion due to my age and weight which means I am at higher risk of developing severe lung problems. As one with a history of upper respiratory difficulties I erred on the side of caution there. But I think therapeutics are the way to go, not experimental vaccines issued under dubious EUA’s.

I also took mega doses of vitamins C and D, lots of zinc tabs, nightly doses of melatonin. It will be interesting to see if I ever catch it again. The uber-jabbed hypochondriacs all seem to catch a new dose every month or so!

I know this is off topic but I wanted to share a comment from an article about the Dutch farmer resistance. This really seems to sum up what’s happening:

“These farmers are the true Extinction Rebellion as they are literally faced with being wiped out. The “D” in Mark Rutte’s ironically named party stands for “dictatorship” not “democracy”. With cabinet blessing, the Dutch police have been using extreme violence over the past few years when citizens protested peacefully in public squares and have even used infiltrators to start skirmishes during such protests in order to claim that violence occurred (the so-called “Romeo’s”). Also, they imported anonymous and masked auxiliary forces from other EU countries who would be slipped out of the country after bashing in the heads of elderly protesters or passers-by. In press-conferences Rutte has repeatedly shouted that dissenters should “shut-the-f##k=up”. The violence against the farmers are just part of an ongoing trend in Rutte’s governance. His nitrogen oxide and ammonia policies are nothing but a pretext to nationalize lands needed for urban expansion (which in turn is needed to appease the construction lobby….errr…combat the fake housing crisis which is caused solely by mass immigration as the Dutch birthrate is well below the replacement level). The PM and his policies are totally fake and they both need propping up through authoritarian methods.”

This was written by a man who lives over there. And this from a woman in Canada:

“The hard-Left governments, calling themselves ‘progressives’, are causing havoc across the Western world, my Canadian government being foremost among them. To save our Western Enlightenment civilization, they must go. It is heartening to see the Dutch farmers, inspired by our very own truckers, pushing back hard and being joined by the creators or wealth–not the parasites the feed in the public trough–across Europe. On our side of the pond, Trudeau and his partisan judiciary are persecuting Tamara Lich, keeping her in jail while letting murderers & rapists run free, but they have not broken the spirit of the Freedom Convoy.”

Who knows — maybe a new day is coming? I hope so.

What’s happening in the Netherlands is a blueprint for other Western countries.

      Two things:
      – The new leaders of the UK military (don’t remember any names, but UK Column have done a lot of work on this) are talking in terms of (a) a future that is permanently a state that is neither peace nor war, i.e. permanent proactive military action; (b) military action increasingly means interventions to quash domestic dissidence (threats to the state) and (c) configurations such as regiments are being disbanded (because they encourage a high-level of group loyalty) and replaced by horizontal structures that involve the kind of transnational co-operation you’re talking about – anyone’s armies combining to control anyone’s population, as needed.

      – You might want to look at what is being planned/proposed for the Netherlands. UKC covered it this past week – see here at around 37 mins (there are two reference links in the timeline below the video that will tell you more).

      ukcolumn.org/video/uk-column-news-15th-july-2022

“A group of institutional investors in the Netherlands have joined forces to present the Netherlands plus parts of Belgium and Germany as a single city network named Tristate City.”

Farms can’t be allowed to get in the way of those metrolink lines. There are Food Innovation Hubs planned to replace traditional farming setups (I think that’s what they’re called – no prizes for guessing whose Foundation is a big player).

And, as I said, this is a blueprint for what they are going to do everywhere (unless you are Redneck, in which case it’s a conspiracy theory).

You confuse what people actually say with your memories of words you put in their mouth.

            1. It is an observable fact – not a wish or a commitment or anything else – just an observable fact – that colonialism has consequences. It just does.

            2. There are small numbers of Asians, Chinese and others in my vicinity and they bother nobody. You may infer from that that ‘small numbers’ is a good thing.

I don’t think it’s a good thing that whole sections of particular towns are majority ‘ethnic’, but perhaps the reason the Asian families in my vicinity stay a small part of the neighbourhood is that their white neighbours don’t move out on their arrival, which is what causes ghettos.

I repeat – you can FRO with your lies and slander.

I didn’t say it wasn’t going to grow – why do you keep changing the goalposts?

I said small numbers are fine. That’s my view. I don’t know what percentage means cultural trouble – currently the Muslim population in Scotland is about 1.4%, for example.

I don’t send out invitation cards, so I’m not sure what your silly accusations are based on. Write to Nicola Sturgeon or Priti Patel, if you want to speak to someone who actually has some say in the matter.

In the meantime, I’d be grateful if you’d stop the drivel about ‘supporting mass immigration’ or ‘mass refugee intake’. I don’t support mass anything – not mass refugees, not mass immigration, not mass vaccination, not mass media, not mass formation.

What I have said is that I recognise the huge difficulty of the moral dilemma posed by desperate people fleeing war, persecution, starvation or whatever else. That dilemma doesn’t go away just because we pick a magic number as ‘enough’. God is watching how we treat the desperate and I do not claim to know what he thinks our response should be in specific cases.

        @ GA —

As Biden said in one of his more coherent speeches — “the greatest threat to our nation is now White Supremists.” So, as with the “terrorist” threat, if that label is slapped on you then your rights evaporate. The January 6th hearings could easily be a chilling prophecy of what’s in store for anyone who resists. A man who wasn’t even there was arrested for text messages sent that (they claimed) “encouraged the insurrection.”

And as cowardly as the Uvalde police showed themselves to be, local police are answerable to the local population whereas a transnational police or army force has no ties to the community and are easier to control. They understand if the local law enforcement refuse to arrest their friends and neighbors, their powers of intimidation and control are over. They’re planning ahead.

May the people in the Netherlands support the farmers and the police refuse to fire on them.

Anglin explains the mystery “rape” of the Mexican girl:

Everyone says they want “diversity,” but what do they actually mean by that?

Having sex with girls immediately after puberty is a part of diverse Mexican culture, and Mexicans enter puberty earlier than whites. They don’t view this as a moral issue.

White women tell Mexicans “you can’t just have sex with that 10-year-old!” and Mexicans are like “what do you mean? She’s my wife.”

The question is why the girl had the abortion in the first place. Usually these Mexicans just show up at the hospital with their child brides all happy to meet their new baby and get arrested and don’t understand why they are being arrested.

    New York Post:

The mother of a 10-year-old Ohio girl who crossed state lines to get an abortion has defended her daughter’s 27-year-old confessed rapist — who was wrongly listed as a minor during the medical visit, according to reports.

The mom spoke to Telemundo while hiding behind the door of the Columbus apartment that was also listed as the home of rapist Gerson Fuentes, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala.

“She’s my daughter,” the mom, who refused to give a name, confirmed to Telemundo of the girl who would have been just nine when she was abused and impregnated.

“She’s fine. Everything that they’re saying against him is a lie,” she insisted of Fuentes, who confessed during police interviews to raping the youngster at least twice, according to court records and officials.

The defensive mom, who hid her face when speaking to Telemundo in Spanish, insisted that she had not been the one to file charges against her young daughter’s abuser.

The shocking case came to light when the girl was taken across state lines to terminate the pregnancy in Indiana on June 30, with President Biden highlighting it as proof of the evils of anti-abortion legislation.

However, despite Fuentes being 27, the person listed as getting the girl pregnant was described as being a minor in the report her abortionist sent to authorities, according to Fox News Digital, which obtained a copy.

Fuentes was busted Tuesday, and is being held on $2 million bond after being charged with felony rape of a minor under 13 years old in the case. He is scheduled back in court next Friday.

Everything is some kind of huge moral outrage these days. People are going to come at me like “Anglin, you’re defending having sex with a 10-year-old????”

I’m not “defending” it – I’m just stating as a matter of objective fact that this is something that happens in Mexican society. I’m not the one who brought all these Mexicans into America.

The age of consent in Mexico is 12. But if you go to the hospital with a 10-year-old that’s pregnant, no one is going to fly into a moral outrage.

These people are literally biologically different than you, and view life completely differently than you. That’s a fact.

These same people who want all of these Mexicans to come here, claiming to celebrate their culture, will also call them evil for practicing their culture.

    How does this make sense?

Jarek: It doesn’t. They’re a different breed. Only the idiotic majority of White liberals (who aren’t liberal) and Conservatives (who conserve nothing) support the invasion. Conservatives want it to be “legal”, as if that changes anything. It’s a crime against natural law to allow ourselves to be displaced by a radically alien people. Natural law trumps human law when there is a conflict. Human law should be based on natural law so there is no conflict, perhaps mitigated by Scripture on certain issues.

Says here that the age of consent in Mexico is 17, not 12 as Anglin states.

I think what Mary reacted to is this sentence:

“Everything is some kind of huge moral outrage these days. People are going to come at me like ‘Anglin, you’re defending having sex with a 10-year-old????’”

Intuitive people would pick up rather quickly on the wording, and his semi-dismissal of the rape, under the cover of the points he makes about societal norms and immigration.

I agree it smells a bit, and I also kinda wonder what’s on the guy’s laptop. Could also be that this is soley an attempt to smear Mexicans.

Just like Brittany Grinder, the laws in the country you’re in have to be obeyed or there are consequences. I could believe Ivana died from a tumble down a spiral staircase if she had cracked her head on a hard surface like the edge of a step but I have a hard time buying ‘death from trauma to the body.’ How far did she tumble? 5′ or 15′?

Maybe more will come out about Ivana’s state of health over, say, the last year.

I DO think some here are jumping the gun when assuming the vaxx played a role. I might buy that assumption if I learned that she had been boosted the day before.

If falling down the stairs is, in fact, true as cause of death then I stand by my prediction of the cause of Peter’s ultimate demise.

    • GreenAlba July 16, 2022 at 1:42 pm #

“I might buy that assumption if I learned that she had been boosted the day before.”

My friend had her booster in October/November and her catastrophic heart attack in May. Our mutual friend’s husband also had his booster around the same time and died of a heart attack in March. I haven’t have a jab since May 2021 – that in no way means I won’t follow suit at some point. Microclotting does its work over years.

      • JohnAZ July 16, 2022 at 5:46 pm #

No, microclotting is not what does the work over time. The cholesterol deposits in the coronaries and elsewhere fester with time and inflammatory processes eventually burst the deposits which causes the damaging blood clot. It is a platelet mediated clotting mechanism as the injury is internal. Hence, post MI patients are on platelet inhibitors like plavix.

Boy can I see where the s protein gets into this process to speed it up.

As Dr Shankara Chetty pointed out, this is the cleverest poison in history. It attacks on myriad fronts and is designed for plausible deniability because it can kill you years after you take it and can do so in so many different ways that it will be impossible to prove.

      Evil genius.

      • GreenAlba July 16, 2022 at 1:55 pm #

Heart attack is the least bad option, when you compare it with neurogenerative disorders, for example.

The absolute worst would be surviving long enough for the AI stuff they have in mind to be implemented, although there appear to be simple remedies to disable such functions. Likewise, ivermectin binds to the spike protein, so can help people with distressing symptoms (Dr Chetty doesn’t recommend it for people who aren’t ill). What you can’t undo is the alteration of your DNA.

        • GreenAlba July 16, 2022 at 4:57 pm #

          *neurodegenerative*

      • Disaffected July 16, 2022 at 5:20 pm #

Seconded. Additionally, the best poison is one whose effects can be temporarily ameliorated by other prescription “cures” on sale (conveniently, by the same firm(s) that sold you the poison in the first place) to prolong your agony and their profits. The MBA folks call that a “win-win-win all the way down,” especially when you consider that they’ve also likely captured the funeral/burial/corpse disposal industries as well.

Birth to death, your ass will be controlled and exploited by corporate interests, and you will like it; but even more importantly, you will pay for it either way.

        • GreenAlba July 16, 2022 at 6:00 pm #

Americans have an advantage in terms of availability of lots of things, including Ivermectin. I had to pay £480 for 120 pills online, from goodness knows where, and I could only get glutathione from the US, which also cost a fortune and I had to pay import duty on it as well – twice in fact, as the first time they sent me a box of the wrong thing. Nobody on a low income could possibly afford all this stuff in combination.

          Hiya Dis.

          Corporations are capitalistic.

Capitalists accumulate capital, the primary source of power in any society.

In Communism, the government controls capital, hence their power is paramount.

Our FF wanted nothing to do with government accumulating capital, they did not even want a national bank. Their primary objective was keeping government from gaining power.

Right now, because of government manipulation of corporations, corporations control our lives by controlling what material goods we can get. The historic source of capital control was the family, small and medium sized company. Starting with the IDing of the corporation in the late 1800s, the corporations have gained power with few exceptions over the years, really speeding up in WW2. Corporate control and power comes from the MIC. Our government wants to control us! It is in their nature as power animals. The government with its MIC and tax codes controls the formation and maintenance of Corporate America. Good example is NASA which opened up the whole PC industry.

Now, the Corporations are going global and the government is losing control of them. Anti national fascism. Obama tried to dump on the corporations with higher tax rates.

          They left, thumbing their noses.

Now, the globalist forces will use the corporations and their control to power over us. And our government.

Biden is the end result of this process. Will we end up with a world government using corporations to control the people of earth?

          Fascism at the global level?

          Jared’s dream!

          Everyman’s nightmare!!!!!

  63. SpeedyBB July 16, 2022 at 10:06 pm #

I’m sharing the following observation, which I received in an email from an old pal from University of Texas grad school, now retired after a career at UCLA. It sounds about right to me; it will be interesting to read your reactions, or objections.

“I’m going to get a little wonky and write about Donald Trump and negotiations. For those who don’t know, I’m an adjunct professor at Indiana University – Robert H. McKinney School of Law and I teach negotiations. Okay, here goes.

“Trump, as most of us know, is the credited author of “The Art of the Deal,” a book that was actually ghost written by a man named Tony Schwartz, who was given access to Trump and wrote based upon his observations. If you’ve read The Art of the Deal, or if you’ve followed Trump lately, you’ll know, even if you didn’t know the label, that he sees all dealmaking as what we call ‘distributive bargaining’.

“Distributive bargaining always has a winner and a loser. It happens when there is a fixed quantity of something and two sides are fighting over how it gets distributed. Think of it as a pie and you’re fighting over who gets how many pieces. In Trump’s world, the bargaining was for a building, or for construction work, or subcontractors. He perceives a successful bargain as one in which there is a winner and a loser, so if he pays less than the seller wants, he wins. The more he saves the more he wins.

“The other type of bargaining is called integrative bargaining. In integrative bargaining the two sides don’t have a complete conflict of interest, and it is possible to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Think of it, not a single pie to be divided by two hungry people, but as a baker and a caterer negotiating over how many pies will be baked at what prices, and the nature of their ongoing relationship after this one gig is over.

“The problem with Trump is that he sees only distributive bargaining in an international world that requires integrative bargaining. He can raise tariffs, but so can other countries. He can’t demand they not respond. There is no defined end to the negotiation and there is no simple winner and loser. There are always more pies to be baked. Further, negotiations aren’t binary. China’s choices aren’t (a) buy soybeans from US farmers, or (b) don’t buy soybeans. They can also (c) buy soybeans from Russia, or Argentina, or Brazil, or Canada, etc. That completely strips the distributive bargainer of his power to win or lose, to control the negotiation.
One of the risks of distributive bargaining is bad will. In a one-time distributive bargain, e.g. negotiating with the cabinet maker in your casino about whether you’re going to pay his whole bill or demand a discount, you don’t have to worry about your ongoing credibility or the next deal. If you do that to the cabinet maker, you can bet he won’t agree to do the cabinets in your next casino, and you’re going to have to find another cabinet maker.

    “There isn’t another Canada.

“So when you approach international negotiation, in a world as complex as ours, with integrated economies and multiple buyers and sellers, you simply must approach them through integrative bargaining. If you attempt distributive bargaining, success is impossible. And we see that already.

“Trump has raised tariffs on China. China responded, in addition to raising tariffs on US goods, by dropping all its soybean orders from the US and buying them from Russia. The effect is not only to cause tremendous harm to US farmers, but also to increase Russian revenue, making Russia less susceptible to sanctions and boycotts, increasing its economic and political power in the world, and reducing ours. Trump saw steel and aluminum and thought it would be an easy win, BECAUSE HE SAW ONLY STEEL AND ALUMINUM – HE SEES EVERY NEGOTIATION AS DISTRIBUTIVE. China saw it as integrative, and integrated Russia and its soybean purchase orders into a far more complex negotiation ecosystem.

“Trump has the same weakness politically. For every winner there must be a loser. And that’s just not how politics works, not over the long run.

“For people who study negotiations, this is incredibly basic stuff, negotiations 101, definitions you learn before you even start talking about styles and tactics. And here’s another huge problem for us.

“Trump is utterly convinced that his experience in a closely held real estate company has prepared him to run a nation, and therefore he rejects the advice of people who spent entire careers studying the nuances of international negotiations and diplomacy. But the leaders on the other side of the table have not eschewed expertise, they have embraced it. And that means they look at Trump and, given his very limited tool chest and his blindly distributive understanding of negotiation, they know exactly what he is going to do and exactly how to respond to it.

“From a professional negotiation point of view, Trump isn’t even bringing checkers to a chess match. He’s bringing a quarter that he insists of flipping for heads or tails, while everybody else is studying the chess board to decide whether its better to open with Najdorf or Grünfeld.”

    — David Honing

Very interesting read, thanks, Speedy. It’s nice to see someone who can critique Trump’s style who doesn’t seem to be riddled with TDS.

OTOH, perhaps Trump’s ignorance or non-ability to see multi-pronged nuance helped slow the globalist’s grab or threw a wrench in it for a few crucial years, whether intentional or not.

And screwing farmers and the American people has been going on in earnest since the 1970s. I am seeing Biden doing much more damage to the country in the short time he’s been in office than during Trump’s entire administration.

    • Paula D July 17, 2022 at 8:12 pm #

Biden’s style is to demand concessions and if they are not forthcoming, to bully and threaten every other country into going along with US sanctions.
China has complained for a long time that the US doesn’t understand win/win negotiations, preferring to take it all and kill anyone who doesn’t like it.
      Not a purely Trump thing.

      Speedy BB:

      Very interesting post.

I am still reading Sterling Seagrave’s Lords of the Rim, about the role of the Overseas Chinese in China’s and the world’s economy and international finance since the late 19th century. The historical background is great. Quite a few excellent maps..

In the penultimate chapter he describes how the concept of Guanxi works among Chinese businesspeople and politicians. His discussion of the transformation of the Communist party and the economy under Deng is fascinating. Bottom line: “reform” good; “democracy” (especially the American variety) not so much. .

The Chinese think holistically—vertically as well as horizontally. Vertically means, basically, the time factor, both in terms of future deals, and also in terms of both past and future generations. Their ultimate loyalty is to their tribe and their homelands within China. Most of the Overseas Chinese who have always dominated Chinese economic activitiy and trade come from specific areas of southern China: Shanghai, at the mouth of the Yangtze, and south of Shanghai.

If you want a longer explanation of Guanxi, check out the Wiki entry.

What is funny to me is Seagrave’s observation that Westerners have a hard time understanding guanxi. Maybe they think too short-term. Western business advisors try to explain to western businessmen how to navigate guanxi. The idea is of course ludicrous. I bet the Chinese laugh their heads off when they read this kind of article.

You cannot fake it. You have to walk the talk, and this takes TIME. Basically, I reckon that Westerners don’t have a chance anyhow.

I highly recommend Seagrave’s book, even though it was published some time ago.

      Disagree!

Biden’s mob are soldiers for the progressive Left and the globalist powers. The Leftist WEF wants redistribution of the wealth, that is their appeal to the masses. The gimmes swarm to the Leftist agenda.

America is wealth source number one. Biden IS trying to break down the wealth of the country, that is you and me, to give it to the WEF et al for redistribution.

It is the heart of the climate change agenda, take away FF from the developed world so that,

We can all be the same.

Just another attempt by the global socialists to show that their ideas are better than all the socialist failures of the past.

If you successfully redistributed the wealth, magically, and came back in ten years, it would be the same as before. You cannot get past the fact that some folks are wiser than others. Socialism is only an avenue for power and will always fail. Power is evil when abused which it ALWAYS is.

          BRH

          Yes!

The FF combined John Locke and the religion of the day (which included Masonic beliefs) to create a philosophy that citizen’s rights come from God and not a government, that is the root of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

So if you are a army that wants to destroy the US emphasis on individual rights and put reliance on the government, what do you attack?

God and the morality that He represents.

Family values and sexual discipline both are necessary for a “normal” society. Even our adversaries recognize this fact. That is why the greatest enemy of the USA and its Constitution is its own Progressive movement. Biden becomes public enemy No.1 for his support of the perverted elements of our society.

Seriously, I wonder how many folks entering the country at the southern border are LBGTQ trying to escape adverse existences where they came from. Is the USA a magnet for LBGTQ from around the world?

Since then Boris Johnson and now Mario Draghi have bitten the dust, and Biden himself is looking kind of wobbly; he could be out by Labor Day. Meanwhile, Putin appears to be solid, mopping up in the Donbas, cutting off natgas supply to Germany, and building a new international economic coalition that includes Brazil, India & China.

BRICS has been around for a few years.

A big question here is what is its relationship with the WEF and how strong are the bonds holding its economic ties together?

I read a story today that the Chinese are sending Russia chips to rebuild weapons to the exclusion of the West so that Russia can continue killing Ukrainian proxies for the West.

Beware the rise of the Sino Russian world, Eurasia.

The West right now is centered on the NATO alliance, the Europe USA bond. Ukraine and a really cold winter may splinter this bond, THIS YEAR.

The scary part is really anti USA, a basic fact.

Is it in Europe’s best interest to get its FF and other resources from Russia and have Russia as a partner or continue alliances with the USA with its inability to help with the Peak Oil situation that is now rapidly approaching.

        Proof of the above?

The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia just told the president of the United States that the Kingdom can increase its oil production from 12 million barrels a day to 13 million by 2027. The scary part is his follow up that that is it, no further increases in production.

2027. Peak Oil for the Kingdom, just as JHK predicted in 2005, except sooner.

If true, the following is an amazing admission of Democrat run cities failures.

The following is reportedly said by Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz
“I must say, in my view at the local, state and federal level, these governments across the country and leaders, mayors and governors, city councils have abdicated their responsibility in fighting crime and addressing mental health,” Schultz said in a video posted on Twitter.

Earlier in the week, Starbucks announced store closures in four Democrat-run states and the District of Columbia. Schultz spoke at an internal company gathering.

“We’re going to have to refine and transform and modernize many of the things we do to meet the needs of our customers in a very changing operating environment in which customer behavior is changing,” Schultz said.

Schultz said America is now “unsafe.”

“I don’t have to spend too much time on what’s going on in the country and how America has become unsafe,” Schultz said. “But you all read the press release last couple of days about the fact that we are beginning to close stores that are not unprofitable.”

“And then we heard the stories that go along with it about what happens in our bathrooms; the issue of mental illness, the issues of homelessness and the issues of crime,” Schultz said.

What a dumpster fire places like Portland have become and are only going to get worse.

    • BackRowHeckler July 17, 2022 at 11:14 am #

And I recall just a few short years ago when Starbucks was DOWN WITH THE STRUGGLE! Remember the campaign during the summer of 2019 that required Starbuck’s Barristas to engage customers IN A MEANINGFUL CONVERSATION ABOUT RACISM! ahahahahaha

Perhaps they could become a chain of day shelters that serve coffee and snacks to the homeless. But if they do that, they’ll need state funding because no one is going to go in and buy coffee anymore. The two options are mutually exclusive.

A note to the demented Redneck, since we’re nearing the end of the thread, sort of …

I missed your extremely silly comment to me until it was too late to respond, so I’ll respond now.

GA, it’s interesting that you are ascribing your husband’s skepticism to vanity and loathing him for it.” — RL

It’s not interesting at all – it’s entirely fanciful. I wasn’t talking about my husband and I didn’t mention loathing anyone, although I did use the term ‘disappointed’. New paragraph, new subject, Redneck, and the subject was a female friend of 30 years. Who on earth refers to their husband as ‘someone I’ve known for 30 years and thought was a good friend’?

    And while I’m here:

Another favourite is to read of someone’s unfortunate death (Ivana Trump, for instance) and immediately and without any evidence whatsoever, attribute it to the vaccine, huh.

“And then that idea can be extrapolated to one’s oldest friends who, apparently though otherwise Olympian-level-fit, suddenly have heart issues in their 70s.

“That’s clearly the vaccine too…evidence be damned.”

    1. I concluded that she probably had a heart attack, because the news item I’d read earlier stated that she’d had a heart attack. Silly me.

    2. My friend didn’t ‘have heart issues’. And she was not quite 70 (not ‘in her 70s’) as fit as a fiddle, with no prior issues of any kind, and she dropped dead from a ‘catastrophic’ heart attack.

    3. From the group of 6 friends, including myself, one had a heart attack 2 months after her second jab, then lost two brothers-in-law to ‘Sudden Adult Death Syndrome’ (probably also heart failure) after the booster rollout; another lost her husband to a heart attack after the booster rollout; my husband collapsed unconscious a week after his booster, and is still being followed up by a cardiologist’; and finally the death, as already mentioned, of my best friend from school. That’s a lot of coincidences, Redneck. Please don’t be offering your forensic services to anyone unless they’ve got money to burn.

    • Starlight July 17, 2022 at 1:55 pm #

Alba, you may wish to give RL a smidgeon of the benefit of the doubt on “Who on earth refers to their husband as ‘someone I’ve known for 30 years and thought was a good friend”. It seems like that is at least a good base to start off with. And making sure he is eating properly and with good habits generally. Oh sorry. But just making that main point that the confusion there may be more understandable as opposed to your subsequent points.

I’m in the middle of a novel my wife turned me onto titled River of the Gods. On page 75 I stumbled on a sentence containing the word “anent.” This is the first time I have seen that word anywhere other than in a comment by Jarek. Which reminds me, aren’t we a bit overdue for a flurry of anents from Jarek.

    • Anthea July 18, 2022 at 1:10 am #

The only other place I’ve ever seen the word “anent” was in Alice Bailey’s books. She was a prolific writer of books that were supposedly dictated to her by “The Tibetan,” whom I believe was supposed to be a guy from another dimension. They are kinda/sorta a version of theosophy (as best I could tell, though I know very little about theosophy). Alice Bailey made liberal use of the word “anent.”

Will this be allowed to stand?

“A lawsuit filed by whistleblower Brook Jackson alleging Pfizer and two of its contractors manipulated data and committed other acts of fraud during Pfizer’s COVID-19 clinical trials is paused following a motion by the defendants to dismiss the case.

In an interview with The Defender, Jackson’s lawyer said Pfizer argued the lawsuit, which was filed under the False Claims Act, should be dismissed because the U.S. government knew of the wrongdoings in the clinical trials but continued to do business with the vaccine maker.

Under the False Claims Act, whistleblowers can be rewarded for confidentially disclosing fraud that results in a financial loss to the federal government.

However, a 2016 U.S. Supreme Court decision that expanded the scope of a legal principle known as “materiality” resulted in a series of federal court decisions in which fraud cases brought under the False Claims Act were dismissed.

As interpreted by the Supreme Court, if the government continued paying a contractor despite the contractor’s fraudulent activity, the fraud was not considered “material” to the contract.

Pfizer is a federal contractor because it signed multiple contracts with the U.S. government to provide COVID-19 vaccines and Paxlovid, a pill used to treat the virus.

“Pfizer claims they can get away with fraud as long as the government would write them a check despite knowing about the fraud,” attorney Robert Barnes said….

“This case will determine if Big Pharma can rip off the American people using a dangerous drug that harms millions without any legal remedy because they claim the government was in on the scam.”

I found this comment on MoA and think it’s relevant here:
”As someone who grew up on a farm, i really get angry at this topic. When i was young (which was not long ago) our village in the mountains was full of farms. Each had 10 or 20 or 30 cows at max. Nobody bought any fertilizer. All was just the biproduct of the farm itself. Everything was grown directly there. The cows would be transported to the mountain ranges where they would spent the summer and grass. No farmer would overuse its soil since they used it for centuries.
Then in the 90s the eu came along told us, this small farming wasnt economical and you needed to either transform into a fabric with hundreds of pieces of animals or give it up. Those who tried started to buy all the chemicals necessary to generate the output to survive.
20 years later the eu comes along again and tells us that this farming they forced all of us to switch to isnt ecological and we need therefor to shut down.
Well last week i went home. Out of hundreds of farmers i grew up with exactly one is left.”

In the rural county that I recently moved from, Lafayette County, Missouri, almost all of the agricultural land is owned by one or two families. I’m told that it’s the same in the county I moved to. There are still quite a few family farmers who own 80-120 acres, but that’s not enough acreage to make a living as a farmer. Usually (and I think it’s invariably) the family farmer has a full-time job and raises some government subsidized row crops as a sideline. He may also run some cattle. Often, both he and his wife work at regular jobs, though sometimes the wife runs the farm and may have a big garden and a variety of livestock in addition to the row crops. Or sometimes they rent out the arable portion of their acreage.

Sometimes hubby has a full-time job and the wife is a market-gardener–who may sell meat, eggs, milk, soap, and baked goods in addition to produce. I know two full-time market gardeners. These ladies have two or three high tunnels and some hired help. One is teamed up with a daughter who sells baked goods. Both also run small stores. One of these ladies has hundreds of elderberry plants and sells potted elderberries for a winter income, besides selling elderberry products at the markets. As with any other small business, you have to be constantly scanning the horizon for new revenue streams. You also have to work 14-hour days for about half the year and attend 4-5 markets a week.

There are a few “niche” agricultural businesses. One couple ran a honey farm and a small orchard for many years, but they have retired. There is a woman who raises goats and makes artisan goat cheese she sells to stores and restaurants in the city.

There are also quite a few hobby farmers around. These often seem to be people who are well fixed financially who dabble in all kinds of things and can afford to take up things like breeding thorougbred horses. Running a stable to care for other people’s horses can also be a way to make money.

I guess my point is that a person who wants to make a living farming really has to hustle.
