Blobitis

“Our government has not failed us. To fail implies there was at least a good faith effort to do the right thing.” — Eric Matheny

T he new science of blobology informs us that political blobs blow up like dying stars gorging on runaway fusion. The blob expands beyond the viable limits of its internal contradictions and implodes in a spectacular vacuum of absurdity. The Washington DC blob’s dire pulsations lately signal that it’s about to blow its toxic endoplasm all over our nation’s capital, drowning many denizens in deadly slime.

Did you catch Attorney General Merrick Garland’s performance Wednesday before the House Judiciary Committee? The absurdity ran pretty rank in the chamber as the AG artfully evaded explaining how it is he doesn’t know a darn thing about the consequential cases in process at his DOJ — and if he did happen to know, he wouldn’t be able to say because… reasons.

For instance, the strange inability of one US attorney David Weiss to generate charges after five whole years of investigation in the sundry matters involving the president’s son, Hunter Biden, until the statute of limitations on tax evasion dribbled away. And then, after concocting a booby trapped plea deal on a Mickey Mouse gun rap that blew up under a judge’s scrutiny, the selfsame Mr. Weiss is appointed Special Counsel (i.e. prosecutor) over those very cases. Say, whu…? Not to mention that it’s against the regulations to appoint anyone special counsel from within the DOJ.

Well, you see, Mr. Weiss is a splendid fellow, Mr. Garland explained. When asked if he could give a working definition of professional incompetence, the AG affected to be stumped. In the course of all this play-acting, Mr. Garland maybe perjured himself several times, and he seemed painfully aware of his own possible looming legal difficulties.

One suspects through all this mummery and confabulation that Merrick Garland is not actually in charge of the US DOJ. Then who is? My guess would be the ultra low profile Deputy AG Lisa Monaco, a mitochondria of the DC blob, one of its energy cells. Ms. Monaco was up to her eyeballs in the Obama regime’s prep work for the Russia Collusion Hoax of 2016, and since her appointment as DAG in April, 2021, is a behind the scenes architect of the new American police state. The Washington Post pretends that she doesn’t exist. One also wonders when a House committee will become interested in deposing her, especially on the subject of her involvement with J-6 prosecutions.

So far, the blob has gotten away with its many depredations because the DC federal district court is one of its pseudopods, able to reach out, engulf, and dissolve anyone who poses a threat. But a turning point in America’s struggle against blobbery may have been crossed far away from there. Down in Texas, which is lately afflicted with blobitis, the state Attorney General Ken Paxton escaped an impeachment trap laid by Party of Chaos state legislators and blob allies revolving around Karl Rove and the next-gen Bush family, losing its legacy as owners of the Texas GOP.

Mr. Paxton must be royally pissed off by these shenanigans and maybe ready to rumble with blob agent Homeland Security Sec’y Alejandro Mayorkas and his putative boss, “Joe Biden.” As it happens, with Autumn here and temperatures along the border moderating, crossings of illegal aliens are at 10,000 a day. A few days after Mr. Paxton’s acquittal in the Texas Senate, Governor Greg Abbott officially declared “an invasion.” Under the US Constitution, federal failure to defend the border allows the states to repel the invaders with force. It also pretty explicitly spells out an impeachable offense against “Joe Biden” — failure to defend our country.  The blob quivers and throbs.

Greg Abbott has proven to be a high ranking undercover member of the blob who screeches occasionally, and provides bits of theater, but has done nothing to stem the invasion on his own border.

    • Beryl of Oyl September 22, 2023 at 10:11 am #

Notice he only took the action he could have taken all along, when it became obvious to him that more and more of us knew he could be doing something.

So those of his who sit and type are doing something, after all.

People wanted to excuse their own governor, who they voted for, on the filmsy excuse that it was a federal matter.

      Guess what? No it wasn’t.

Also, drug laws are a federal matter, and look at all the states that just went ahead and legalized them.

      • Kevmodeus Rex September 22, 2023 at 1:55 pm #

Drug laws are a federal matter only by federal fiat. There is absolutely no constitutional authority which justifies federal laws on the matter whatsoever, thus it belongs in the hands of the states, many of which recognize after 50 years of failed eradication efforts that the drug war is completely unjustifiable.

You’re right about immigration, however. The border states are completely responsible for protecting their borders, and it sucks that the other 46 states are essentially held hostage by those who have abdicated their authority to police their borders to federal activists.

Abbott sucks, no more or less than the rest of them.

        • Islander September 23, 2023 at 1:01 am #

          Kevmodeus,

          That doesn’t sound quite right.

Biden is actively preventing Texas and Arizona from taking steps to stem the tide of migrants, by removing the barriers the states have put in place.

So, are you saying that a court would find in favor of the states’ rights to defend their borders and the feds must cease and desist their interference facilitating migrant movement?

Also, I read that “Biden” is considering forcing all migrants to stay in Texas that arrive in Texas. Can the Feds enforce this?

If the Mexican cartels are really in control of all this, should the Federal govt declare a “War on Cartels” in order to stem the tide?

I for one am very suspicious of this special deal for 500,000 Venezuelan migrants. It looks quite possible to me that these dissatisfied people are being groomed to create some kind of special force to make life hard(er) for Maduro. There seems to be a clear political component to this.

          • Kevmodeus Rex September 23, 2023 at 5:47 am #

I’m saying that, like it or don’t, you can’t find a constitutional authority for federal immigration enforcement any more than you can find a constitutional authority for federal drug laws. The Constitution grants Congress the authority to create entities which decide who can become citizens, not who can or cannot enter the country. Thus, the authority resides solely in the four border states in question.

Biden also has no authority to force anyone to stay or go anywhere. Of course, we’ve all seen with our eyes what the Monolith thinks of the US Constitution.

The sole exception to these unfortunate facts is the constitutional authority to create and dispatch federal forces to quash an invading force, which the Feds are clearly never going to do (neither party is interested). Seen in the context of an invading force, the hapless immigrants being shepherded by cartels and all, the government would clearly have the authority to round them up wherever they are found and send every one of them packing, but again, nobody is interested in that.

This also presents the problem of functionally being in a state of war not only with the cartels but with Mexico itself. If our history is any indication of how such a course of events would play out, we’d soon be talking about arming Mexican rebels to flush out cartel cells in the Mexican suburbs, followed by rumblings of US mercenaries and perhaps troops going block by block. This may be our trajectory either way, time will tell. I think it’s far more likely that we’ll simply be overrun by Central and South American immigrants who vote Democrat, who fancy whatever cheap housing is left in our rapidly ghettofying country.

And yes, the states could take care of this on their own, har har har, which they won’t because that’s ultimately a secession scenario, i.e. civil war.

And are trotting out Granny Schumer to speechifying here in Upstate NYS about the wonders of turning arable land from corn and other agricultural food products into giant marijuana plantations. Why, there’s a market, and that means more tax revenues! And dumbasses everywhere nod in unison and chant, “Great idea!’

Is Upper New York State the right climate for growing Mary Jane?

          • Beryl of Oyl September 23, 2023 at 5:08 pm #

            Not really.

“New York Has A Cold Climate

New York has a cold climate compared to many other locations in North America. Other locations in the USA such as Florida, Virginia, or even Vermont have drastically different climates and weather conditions. A colder climate can be difficult to grow successfully if you aren’t prepared because the growing season will be shorter and some strains would be able to germinate in the colder conditions.

This means you must be mindful when you decide to start growing. Similar to growing cannabis in Pennsylvania, the spring and early summer season will be your best bet because the summer months will be too hot to successfully grow cannabis and the winter will be too cold unless you have a good growing equipment setup. If you are a beginner grower then the spring months and autumn months are the best options to grow cannabis.”

He’s the Lindsey Graham of gubernatorial politics. His interest isn’t in the welfare of his state, it’s in his reelection campaign and political future.

    • JC Penny September 22, 2023 at 10:15 am #

Abbott works in Austin: The State-level equivalent of Washington DC. Further, he’s never won over the large swath of the Texas electorate flying Mexican flags in their front yard. Whole lot of competing interests to manage.

He’s been wrong many times, but right enough to admire. State’s rights vs. Federalism is near the top of the latter.

It’s funny – it appears he declared an Invasion last year too and jived then about bringing the national guard out.

The surge continues is my bet.

Too far gone now and, perhaps more to the point, no (human) agency.

        Thus, No ways and means.

        Nada. Nihil.

    • oilie September 22, 2023 at 10:43 am #

And even if Mr. Abbott were to send the Texas National Guard to the border, he would be immediately countermanded by “FJBiden”, who would assume command of the guard. Tough cookies, eh?

Ken Paxton, Texas AG, said pretty much the same thing in the Tucker Carlson interview the other day.

I’ve been reading and enjoying Mr. Kunstler’s work for years, and finally have decided to write for this reason:

Mr. K. consistently has reported faithfully and commented intelligently as an observer of our society’s collapse.
However, what to do about It?

At some point, wouldn’t a ‘national registry of the ELITE’ be appropriate. I mean really… WHO are these folks, and WHERE are they, such that the goodwill and love they have spread can be returned to them someday, bountifully.

      • Ron Anselmo September 22, 2023 at 12:14 pm #

Seconded. Excellent idea Chas. I suggest that we open the registry for nominations.

The Blob won’t blow up until it can’t do any more damage, Any wedge issue, any crackpot conspiracy theory, half-truth or outright set of lies that will keep it in power will be used until there is nothing left of the rule of law. Case in point: Canada’s own Justin Trudeau has resurrected himself from the dead with allegations that India was behind the murder of a Sikh separatist in Canada. For those of you not in the know, Sikhs are an important voting bloc in Canadian politics and all three national parties have courted their votes, though none with the fervor of Canada’s two left-leaning parties. They have a long and sordid history of defending violent extremists in the Sikh community and have even gone so far as to deny India’s repeated requests to extradite these terrorists, It’s worked at the polls time and time again, so why change? The DC Blob probably has a few more trick up their sleeves and will use them effectively to keep the reigns of power.

        • Soul Forensics September 22, 2023 at 1:36 pm #

More to the point, hortonz, Trudeau now has to please Jagmeet Singh since he needs his bloc votes if he wins the next election, since, best case, the Libs will be lucky to scrape by with another minority gov’t.

As to the murdered guy, Sikhs do well enough bumping off their own, and he wasn’t even a citizen anyway.

    • pyrrhus September 22, 2023 at 1:39 pm #

Indeed, Abbott had better get to work repelling the foreign invasion if he wants to remain Governor…Texans of all races are becoming extremely angry at the theft of their real estate and government benefits by these aliens….

    • UN OUT OF USA September 22, 2023 at 3:11 pm #

      Jack,
I live in Texas and I agree with you wholeheartedly. Sadly, Abbott has time and time again proven to be just another RINO, not a true “conservative”. He talks big and does little to really battle the DC Blob. Let’s wait another week or so to see what he does about the so-called “invasion”. He play-acts the tough guy for big media reactions to bussing a few dozens of illegals to DC or NYC or Cali, but he hasn’t taken the tough stance of putting the Texas Guard on the border with orders to STOP the invasion, NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES. Until he does this, you have him nailed perfectly.

  2. lizharmon September 22, 2023 at 9:36 am #

You clearly don’t realize that some of us serve YHWH, and some of us serve Ba’al, Moloch, and other pagan deities. I suspect most of us basically do our own thing until the shit hits the fan, at which they run to whichever deity they say they serve — much as many Moslems and most Christians seem to do.

sanspeur – easy to identify for those with discernment. I’m still amazed at my friends who don’t know why I shudder visibly when I see Bill Gates or Hillary smile. Garland is another one, although I haven’t seen him even attempt a smile.
My friend: Dude, what’s yer problem?
Me: Look at him! Don’t you see it? He’s a #$%ing DEMON!
Friend: Don’t say that too loud or you’ll be accused of anti-demonism.

I read a description of that kind of smile from someone who saw it in her child’s teacher. This was an article from a long time ago, but I never forgot her description of it. She said it wasn’t a “normal” human being smile.

As Don Juan said to Castaneda: Don’t assume because someone has two arms and two legs that they are human.

The government at all levels is broken. And in today’s throw-away society what do you do with something when it is broken? Dispose of it in your trash receptacle for weekly pick-up, to be sent to a sanitary landfill for eventual decomposition. Then go out and buy a replacement, which was likely make in China. That is the way our country is headed right now.

      • Cankerpuss September 22, 2023 at 10:37 am #

The government has greatly exceeded the few responsibilities it has been given by the Constitution. It engages in everything it is not supposed to be doing and it ignores everything is should be doing, constitutionally, that is. The solution is really quite simple, just follow the law of our land but the brainiacs in Congress don’t read or understand the law. They don’t even understand their own authority and what they should be doing.

And the American people don’t know what to do because, well, what are we to do?

Vote? We know how that works in America today.

Contact our “representative?” Yeah, because we know they listen.

Grab our guns? End up like the J6ers rotting in a DC prison without forma charges or a trial.

Stop paying taxes? Have our property stolen by the IRS.

We are in a really bad way in this Country. They have us on the ground with a boot on our neck. I don’t have a fucking clue what to do about it either. So, I write, express my frustrations and hope someone out there is listening.

A few weeks ago my drier stopped working. I had a repair technician come and look at it. His quote for parts was more than buying a new drier altogether and his recommendation? Buy a new drier.

Don’t you just love this wonderful new world the elite have given us?

        • Woodchuck September 22, 2023 at 10:55 am #

“Buy a new drier” Why not just do like us hillbillies? Find a cheap and used working model of the same drier and use it as a parts source. Us hillbillies do this all the time with cars. Instead of going to parts stores to keep your old heap running just by some junkyard versions of the very same vehicle and park ’em all in the back yard or nearby in the woods. Instead of of going to Autozone for parts just walk over to the junkers with a box of tools and get the parts you need there.

          • tresho September 22, 2023 at 11:56 am #

“Us hillbillies do this all the time with cars. Instead of going to parts stores to keep your old heap running just by some junkyard versions of the very same vehicle” I do that for all my old vehicles, but only vehicles. There are a great many knowledgeble comments and Youtube type bits of information which have been very helpful. The amount of effort / time I would have to invest to rehab old appliances is, to me, far more expensive than they would cost to replace.

It will remain so be seen if we have learned anything from their mistake.

RON: you’re 100% correct. Imagine if the original American colonist had show up at Concord or many other places carrying signs and placards. That’s what the j6 people did; signs and placards and flags.

#1-Never carry a knife to a gun fight.

Doc – I’m with you, we’re on the same page for certain, and many of the same lists, I’m sure.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder September 23, 2023 at 10:27 am #

The original colonists would have come out with heads on sticks and skulls to drink from.

Doc – I always find this interesting. We are really only a few generations removed from the dead bastard who tried to rob the general store leaned up in a casket at the entrance to a town as a warning to visiting potential ne’er-do-wells.

That is of course now viewed as a barbaric practice. And sure, it was. Can’t argue that. The thing is, that shit produced results. (and hey, it works wonders for the cartels to this day)

Here’s the problem: if for some reason people are going to start shooting, it has to be done with a plan…and major numbers…and a leader. J6 proved that is not even remotely in place, let alone even being considered.

Any and all planning methods these days are thoroughly monitored by all federal agencies and would be rendered moot in a matter of hours, if not minutes. Hell, even if someone was just handing out flyers near the town square to try to keep things analog, a pic would be posted on Instagram almost immediately, spoiling the idea and resulting in immediate arrest, shaming, and general public cowering…unless a group actually had a plan to push back in that scenario and was truly ready to implement it.

So the only way armed push back would “work” is after an ugly spark of some kind, and then an inevitably huge bloodletting of the lumpen at the hands of TPTB. If enough regular folks unjustly lost a loved one in that scenario, you’ve got a war, as people tend to say fuck it at that point.

If there was still momentum after that, something could potentially come together. But most just want to pay their bills, take occasional road trips and raise their kids with some modicum of joy, comfort, and civility. Myself included. The days of dads and older brothers just up and declaring they’re going off to join up “to fight the bastards” with their deer rifles in a field somewhere (“I hope to be home safe soon, son, but I’ve just got to go do this right now…you mind your mother, now…”) are foggy and mythical to us.

It’s a different time. But people haven’t changed. They just think they have. Ripe for the pickin’ ,we are…

    • tuco22 September 22, 2023 at 10:58 am #

Well, we don’t have a representative republic anymore, that’s for sure. Neither do we have a “democracy.” We have what I consider to be a quasi-Marxist oligarchy, with a public that’s largely okay with that.

The blob is continuing to expand its slimy reaches and the American people are out to lunch. Most of them would rather download their porn, obsess about their next orgasm or fret about their genders than actually tackle what ails us.

We could starve the blob if we as a people could come together. Stop paying taxes. Won’t happen. Americans are too polarized, too divided, too tribal to come together. This is what happens when a nation is overrun but too many people to assimilate into our culture. Immigration unchecked destroys a nation. Just ask the ancient Romans.

Republicans are paralyzed by their fear of looking like the bad guys for trying to stem the fiscal bleeding of the democrat party under the guise of “Bidenomics.” Because if they do, that’s how they’re going to be portrayed by the democrats; i.e., bad people who are denying the citizens of infrastructure projects states badly needed funds. So, in order to keep their house on the lake and continue to live la dolce vita, they sit on their hands and do nothing. They know they’ll be voted for again, anyway.

We have an undeclared war against Russia in part because of a certain ethnic contingent’s unquenchable blood-thirst and ancestral connections to Ukraine, a contingent who do not send their own children, but the children of the beasts they manipulate to do their bidding, war after wasteful and losing war. They want their people to reap the bounty: contracts, resources, state controlled industries and sectors converted to oligarchies.

We have a regime where the president and his degenerate family members have been blackmailed by accepting an advance on a portion of the war’s ceaseless funding that they are now compelled to provide. Until he or the Ukraine despot is gone.

We have a DOJ in allegiance with the aforememntioned cabal of neocon war addicts who will do anything and everything to protect the arrangement (protect the president so that he can protect their war).

It is as simple as that.

It is as if Americans just no longer give a fuck about their nation. I guess this is what happens when it is being overrun by communist and socialist hordes from the south.

My take? Let the blob do its things. Keep my head down and keep my powder dry. Try to be prepared for the next government created “emergency” and weather the storm as best as I can. There is no where else to go. There is no place better to go. Let’s face it, this isn’t an America problem, this is a world problem.

Hard times are coming, learn how to grow a potato. Learn how to live on less. Get out of debt. Live on less than you make. Learn a trade that is useful to others. If you can do this you will be able to weather the storm.

      • Woodchuck September 22, 2023 at 11:23 am #

I’m a bit of a “foodie” myself, and my reading indicates that the primary culprit in our health issues is the very widespread consumption of industrially processed seed oils such as canola, corn oil, soybean oil, cottonseed oil etc. They are all made of of so called omega-6 oils that are metabolic toxins and don’t belong in the human body. These oils cause heart disease, obestity, inflammation, oxidation, cancer, etc. There are only a few oils at the supermarket that are safe. One cheap and safe alternative is lard – you’ll find it in the same area in the grocery store where all the cooking and salad oils are. Safe salad oils include pure and real olive oil (the real stuff is real expensive) and flaxseed oil. Most all of the rest of the stuff will eventually make you sick.

        • Islander September 22, 2023 at 11:37 am #

          Woodchuck:

Recently I read a pretty nerdy—but readable—article about seed oils.

How they mess up the liver.

          My thumbnail recollection:

The liver cannot metabolize these fats/oils as it does omega-3 fats and also animal fats.

I wish I could recall the source so that I could provide a link. (There is a divergence of opinions on olive oil. This subject has come up on earlier CFN threads.)

But the arguments were very persuasive. The biochemistry of what happens because the body cannot properly metabolize these fats so that the calories can be converted to energy. They end up getting stored AS body fat. Also, hard on the liver.

You need a healthy liver to thrive

Stay away from seed oils! Stay away from chips and other “snack” items.

Save bacon fat in a can in the fridge and use that to fry eggs, etc.

You can even bake a lot of things with bacon fat or lard.

For Toll House cookies I make an exception and use a combo of butter and margarine. But Toll House cookies are not the daily bread.

          • DaveO907 September 22, 2023 at 11:54 am #

I once read that margarine is but one molecule away from being classified as a plastic. I’m down with butter, olive oil, lard and makin’ bacon. And avocado oil.
PS: stock up on olive oil, prices are going to jump (how high!!!?) this fall due to pretty much a worldwide (outside the U.S.) piss-poor growing season. I’ve read that in several places. tbc….

          • spaingaroo September 22, 2023 at 1:17 pm #

I live in the province (Jaén) that produces 70% of Spain’s Olive Oil and that is the same as saying 30% of the worlds olive oil. Spain produces 40% of the world’s total.
This season is worse than last years terrible season and one grower told me yesterday that he will be lucky to get 20% of expected harvest.
Prepare for another doubling of prices.
9 euros a litre here, buying 15 litres at a time at the co-op.

          • Anthea September 22, 2023 at 4:53 pm #

It’s been suggested that these oils are probably one of the causes of diabetes. Insulin is a kind of “key” that must interact correctly with each cell’s lipid layer, so that the sugar in the blood can be used as energy for the cell. (This is probably not a very precise description–just a rough idea.) Insulin can’t “unlock” the cell’s lipid layer, if there’s something wrong with its structure; the key doesn’t fit the lock, so to speak.

When people consume seed oils or heavily processed oils, the body has to use them as the building blocks for the cells’ lipid layer, and the result is that the lipid layer isn’t built normally.

“Lipids” is ust another word for “fats.”

In Type 2 diabetes, the sugar circulating in the blood can’t get into the cells to supply energy, so the sugar continues to circulate in the blood, and you get high blood sugar.

          • Woodchuck September 23, 2023 at 2:46 pm #

“It’s been suggested that these oils are probably one of the causes of diabetes.”

It’s a fact that diabetes, heart disease, and obesity were rare medical conditions before processed seed oils were so commonly used in food. Unprocessed omega-3 oils have a limited shelf life and spoil or go rancid much quicker than the processed oils. Real olive oil must be stored in dark bottles or metal containers. Adulterated olive oils can be stored in clear bottles and have a longer shelf life.

Grapeseed oil is supposed to be good.

        • Soul Forensics September 22, 2023 at 12:09 pm #

The science on seed oils is clear: they’re neutral or beneficial to health in the only metric that counts — lifespan, aka end-point data.

The charlatans and articulate marketers who scare up support for their birdbrained cause are analogous to the same Fear Inc psychological tricks employed by the MSM — non sequiturs, and deflection/disengagement with authoritative scientists who challenge their assertions.

The public, who by and large don’t care or aren’t able to read the literature, allow their fear to kick in, and create their own non sequiturs and memes, and we’re off to the races.

          • DaveO907 September 22, 2023 at 12:24 pm #

Um… thus spake the seed oil lobbyists and willful if not egregious contrarians.
There is an abundance of quality evidence that using the seed oils—mostly “Roundup Rancid already—contributes to onset diseases that shorten lifespans and contribute to a less than optimally healthy functional organism.

          • Soul Forensics September 22, 2023 at 1:44 pm #

Wrong, Soul Forensics, I have you in the second description and here you are validating my point (imo) by skating away.

You asserted what you did, so don’t be asking me to prove or disprove your assertions made. That’s not how it works in the real world. Your metric of “The science on seed oils is clear: they’re neutral or beneficial to health in the only metric that counts — lifespan, aka end-point data.”

            Prove on….

          • Soul Forensics September 22, 2023 at 3:04 pm #

            Dave,

Did you not understand your own quotation? Here it is again:

“There is an abundance of quality evidence that using the seed oils—mostly “Roundup Rancid already—contributes to onset diseases that shorten lifespans and contribute to a less than optimally healthy functional organism.”

I asserted the opposite, or at least the null position.

The original impetus to this sub-thread is that seed oils are detrimental to health. Therefore, the onus is on you (and your supporters) to back it up with evidence. You made the initial claim. This is how a debate works. I’m willing to comply with my own evidence, but first, let’s see what you’ve got.

            Soul F,

Seems to me that the biggest propaganda campaign has been the one to demonize animal fats and even animal proteins. The model for messing with medical data was supplied by the Framingham Heart Study.

There is plenty of evidence concerning the dangers of seed oils, particularly when heated to high temps for deep-fat frying.

McDonald’s fries were traditionally cooked in melted tallow, until the seed oil lobby got ahold of the public’s fear nerve and forced a change. McD’s fried have never recovered their flavor, I hear (I don’t partake, so this is hearsay, or hear-read).

Hundreds of generations of humans have thrived on animal protein and animal fats.

So you belong to a new variety of H. sapiens???

          • Soul Forensics September 22, 2023 at 11:23 pm #

            Islander,

The two top-of-the-line scientific categories — by far — for determining gold standard nutritional evidence (or any scientific evidence, for that matter) are meta-analyses and random-controlled double-blind studies.

The predominant findings, across the past 60 years, from independent studies (and sometimes even studies run by honest scientists looking to reverse engineer their own biases) shows us, that according to thousands of pertinent studies with the best study designs, seed oils are either a modest net-positive or null as regards to hard end-point data, that is to say, longevity.

Also, you throw in a few strawmen. I said nothing about animal fat, so I don’t know why you bring that up, unless it’s just a reflexive charge as levied by the scientifically illiterate carnivore kooks and sophists who can smell an internet trend faster than a buffet regular can get to the line for seconds.

And McDonald’s changing their cooking oils, and the subjective opinion on the resulting flavour change, is germane to the discussion because … ?

          • Islander September 23, 2023 at 1:14 am #

The relevance of animal fats is that they have been demonized ,and then seed oils (a lot of soybean oil) have replaced them.

“High consumption of soybean oil has been linked to obesity and diabetes and potentially autism, Alzheimer’s disease, anxiety, and depression. Add now to this growing list ulcerative colitis, a form of inflammatory bowel disease, or IBD, characterized by chronic inflammation of the large intestine.”

            httpX://news.ucr.edu/articles/2023/07/03/widely-consumed-vegetable-oil-leads-unhealthy-gut

I’m afraid I am not terribly impressed by “gold standards” when it comes to nutrition. There have simply been too many U-turns and involvement of the agricultural industry.

I am more inclined to trust info provided by the Weston A Price Foundation. They have a lot of info on fats and oils and often cite studies done in other countries that never see the light of day in the USA.

            Lots of info linked here:

            On seed oils:

            “…POISON, NOT FOOD

Seed oils go by numerous names: vegetable oils, edible oils, omega-6 oils and—the latest euphemism—“plant oils.” The aim is to make these oils sound healthy. The most dangerous ones are the high-PUFA oils from soybeans, corn, canola, cottonseed, rapeseed, grapeseed, sunflower, safflower and rice bran.

“It should tell you something that seed oil refineries look a lot like petroleum refineries. These facilities take huge amounts of raw seed materials and crush them, heat them and run them through a hydraulic screw press. The oil from that mush is then treated in a petroleum-derived hexane solvent bath, followed by steaming, degumming, chemical alkalinization using sodium hydroxide (also known as caustic soda) and chemical bleaching, typically using calcium sulfate dihydrate. At this point, the oil may look better, but it is terribly malodorous, so it also gets deodorized, which is accomplished with a steam distillation technique at very high temperature and pressure. The multiple rounds of heating and mechanical and chemical treatments produce oils that are highly oxidized—that is, the long fatty acids are broken down into segments with oxygen attached to free hydrogen atoms….”

Soul Forensic, eat this stuff if you choose. It’s not for me!

          • Soul Forensics September 23, 2023 at 1:28 pm #

            Islander,

You, for some reason, continue to make incorrect assumptions. Why? I never said if, or however much, I might eat seed oils.

My cooking or salad oil of choice — the only one I buy — is extra virgin olive oil (not a seed oil, according to those who make these distinctions). At the same time, I don’t freak out about, and will occasionally eat, seed oils in restaurant food or if it comes in a packaged snack, e.g. In other words, not often.

          • Soul Forensics September 23, 2023 at 1:56 pm #

            Islander,

I’ve read shitloads of literature pertaining to nutrition, good and bad, so yes, I’m well aware of the Weston A. Price ideological propaganda outlet. You are aware that even they call themselves an ideological org, right? From the horse’s mouth:

They are “dedicated to exploring the scientific validation of dietary, agricultural and medical traditions through the world.”

That is not science. That is engineering the “literature” to fit a pre-existing belief system. Science is about creating a hypothesis, with particular emphasis on rigid quality control, and letting the evidence speak for itself, no matter which direction it takes. The Price org is an ideological, advocacy group, and its founder had no background in science despite how his followers try to paper that over. He was a dentist, and he achieved his “findings” through one of the lowest venues on the hierarchy of evidence, epidemiology (seed oil haters love to bash epidemiological studies until and unless it’s their own poorly controlled isolated epi study that shows some minor correlation for their side).

The claims they make about other health related issues outside of nutrition are even more unsound, and frankly dangerous, and, in any case, are beyond the purview of this discussion.

          • Beryl of Oyl September 24, 2023 at 10:44 am #

Can we see that clear science? From everything I have been reading, we THINK (we being those seriously looking for the reasons behind the obesity epidemic) that the answer probably lies in large part with ultra-processed foods, but we do not have the quality studies yet.

Maybe because the medical industrial complex has been putting out actual lies about diet and health for decades.

We know they have lied, yet we still parrot the slogans they’ve been telling us.

        • Beryl of Oyl September 22, 2023 at 12:41 pm #

Woodchuck, I have come to the conclusion that there is something wrong with the food, and my reading supports my contention that the sharp rise in obesity is not because people all at once started to eat way too much and way too much junk food.

We don’t know exactly what is wrong, but we know there is something wrong with our diet and it obviously is not as simple as “fast food”.

I am seeing more and more people taking the topic seriously as well.

This is something I came across that I tend to agree with:

“I firmly believe ultra-processed foods are at the root of obesity and disease.

I also firmly believe that associations between additives and health problems, gleaned from large observational cohorts, are worse than useless.

          Thanks for listening.”

          • John001 September 22, 2023 at 1:00 pm #

Apparently the amount of ultra-processed food in the diet is still increasing. A few figures I’ve seen quoted from Europe.

            UK diet 55% UPF
            UK children’s diet 65% UPF
            Italian diet 5% UPF.

I’m not even eating 1% UPF.

If the UK figures I heard quoted, i.e. the 65% and 55%, are correct, it could imply that due to ‘shortage of time’ younger people are eating even worse food than oldies are eating.

The Weston Price Foundation has been covering the subject of healthy food for about 100 years. Clearly it’s had limited success, though, to judge from what the majority of people eat in both the UK and the USA.

He was a dentist who travelled widely and carefully observed what people around the world ate. He tried to correlate this with dental health (or lack of health). See westonprice.org.

“I firmly believe ultra-processed foods are at the root of obesity and disease.”

            Hmmm.

I am firmly convinced that wontgetofffatassitis is the root cause obesity and disease.

          • Soul Forensics September 22, 2023 at 1:53 pm #

“the sharp rise in obesity is not because people all at once started to eat way too much and way too much junk food.”

That’s exactly the reason people got, and get, fat. CICO (calories in, calories out). Also fits Occam’s razor. Also a fact according to stats. From the early 80s to now, when calorically dense ultra processed food became a thing — now 60%(!) of the daily intake of the average Westerner — calories-in has increased, in a mirrored linear graph, with increased weight.

There are many reasons for this — increasingly aggressive and prevalent advertising, scientifically engineered ultra-processed food manipulators to increase hyper-palatability, rise of super-tech keeping everyone, most worryingly kids, indoors, head bent and motionless, all day, etc etc. But to be brief, it’s more calories, less movement (especially the first).

          • Beryl of Oyl September 22, 2023 at 2:00 pm #

Malnutrition leads to being too tired to get off your butt.

I see overweight people outside marching around every day, trying to get that exercise they have been told will keep the weight off.

I see women going to aerobics class three times a week, and gaining weight anyway.

I’ve seen families who drive everywhere, with slim kids.

There is more to what has been going on than we’ve been told, and when we already know for a fact that the “experts” deliberately told us diet and exercise recommendations they knew to be false, why would anybody believe anything at all that they ever told us about anything?

          • Soul Forensics September 22, 2023 at 3:06 pm #

Exercise doesn’t nearly compensate for the overload of calories-in.

          • Paula D September 22, 2023 at 7:11 pm #

Endomorphs are born to be roly/poly, but how roly-poly depends on the society they live in.

For the rest, it’s a combo of Super Sized food and the car-oriented society.

Walking to your car, and then from the parking place to your office, and then back again, to go home and sit on the couch, can not be made up by going to the gym a couple of times a week.

People in cities, who walk far more than people in the suburbs, or even in the country (4-wheelers make it so country people don’t have to walk anywhere either), are thinner than the others.
Activities of daily living which require walking, can make a big difference in body weight

          • Islander September 22, 2023 at 7:46 pm #

“Exercise doesn’t nearly compensate for the overload of calories-in.”

But that is exactly the point.

            Not all calories are equal.

Some calories can be processed and used by the body, and others cannotl.

Ultraprocessed junk food is full of seed oils and soy products. These are not healthy.

          • Soul Forensics September 22, 2023 at 11:01 pm #

            Paula,

A person of average weight/height walking 4 to 5 miles a day on flat ground — far more than the average person — will burn about 350-400 calories.

The average American or Canadian eats 3,600 calories per day, about 50% (or 1,200 calories extra for what it would take to maintain current weight) more than what is needed.

Also, keep in mind that most people who exercise in the 4 mile per day walking range will get hungrier than sedentary people. (The body is comfortable with its set point of satiation, even when disordered. ) The compensation? A processed sugary muffin, not even that large, cancels out the 400 extra calories otherwise spent.

          • Islander September 23, 2023 at 1:22 am #

I suspect that a big factor in obesity is that fewer and fewer people prepare their own food. They pick something up or order something in. Or they eat snack food instead of a meal. They do not make for themselves some vegetables or salad and a hamburger or something comparable.

This creates a lot of factors that encourage overeating and wrong-eating (empty calories, unhealthy food, filling up on snack food) and can end up putting on pounds.

Once someone gets into the devil’s spiral of being overweight it is hard to exit without major changes. Depression leads to more “wrong-eating.”

          • Beryl of Oyl September 24, 2023 at 10:54 am #

Islander, we also know that some people are way more sensitive to eating simple carbohydrates than other people are.

Calories in, calories out. Not so simple. A calorie is a thermal unit.

It’s what happens to the calorie in your system. I have a friend who lost a large amount of weight he did not need to lose, and he wasn’t trying to lose weight. It was because he had a thyroid condition.

A lot of the people who have taken deep dives into the issue are saying similar to what you are, that eating less of one’s own cooking is a factor.

        • Soul Forensics September 23, 2023 at 2:44 pm #

          Mygawd!

I just revisited the Weston A Price website, and looked at some of their questions and answers. They specifically state that — as long as you don’t cook them at too high a temp — polyunsaturated fats are fine to consume! Incredible.

What are you even arguing for, then, by planing Price with the anti seed oil movement?

    • tuco22 September 22, 2023 at 11:19 am #

Hate to tell ya, Cankerpuss, but most Americans no longer give a fuck about their nation. Haven’t for some time. It’s all about personal enrichment. They care about the things they’ve been conditioned and indoctrinated to care about, and don’t care about things for which they haven’t been indoctrinated. Catherine Austin Fitts calls this “entrainment.” It’s why, for instance, people continue to vote democrat in spite of being reamed repeatedly by that party politically and financially. It also explains the continued loyalty to the communist party on the parts of those people who were tortured by it.

” learn how to grow a potato” I did an experiment this summer. I cut up a potato and put it in a 5 gal joint compound bucket. I used one bad sprouting spud. I just dumped the bucket out and received ten good potatoes for my effort. No fertilizer or nuthin’, just good soil. Not a bad return.

      • Islander September 22, 2023 at 11:40 am #

I have seen videos about using these buckets for growing spuds.

They are really useful, if one has space for them. Just drill a few holes in teh bottom with an electric drill.

Another tip: If you have a deer problem, line up these buckets full of plants along your garden fence. Deer will not jump over the fence because they fear landing on the buckets.

      • DaveO907 September 22, 2023 at 11:58 am #

        Kewel!
Now if you do it again, cut a series of quarter moon holes horizontally and vertically in the bucket, the plant will reach out for the slots and you’ll easily quadruple your harvest, and likely more.

Dave – can you expound on this a little? Thanks.

          • DaveO907 September 24, 2023 at 9:26 pm #

Sorry, piss-poor internet here at this marina and other things kept me away, Ron.
I just use a sawzall or jig saw on a 5 gallon bucket, but it originated in those plastic 55 gal drums.

Cut the 4 to 6″ holes horizontal on the bottom of each cutout and angle into a lazy quarter circle on the top of the cut to meet up with the horizontal, about 1′ of height at the top of the radius. Plant your bottom spud seedlings about 3″ from the bottom of the bucket, 3 cutouts per level around the bucket, then make another 3 cutouts about six to 8 inches up from the bottom level. The plants will “Reach for the sky, hombre!” via the sides on the lower levels, then shoot straight up on the topper.
            (Hope this makes sense.)

          • Ron Anselmo September 25, 2023 at 12:09 am #

It accords with the reality of male and female nature. The Jarls (lords) get many. The Carls (their retainers) get one or two. The Thralls (slaves) get none.

Women rage against the male classification system of 1-10. But in fact, women are far more stringent, finding 8 out of 10 men physically unattractive. Similar scores for general fitness as a partner, the six figures much complete the six feet, six pack, etc.

Women would rather share a Jarl than have a Thrall or working schlub all to themselves.

Feminists love to rag on incels. But they hate MGTOWs even more. Why? Because it’s impossible to shame them. And also because they’re often high quality men who don’t give feminists a chance to use them to their (women’s) advantage.

Notice how often feminists bring up incels, but, through fear of self-reflection, will rarely mention MGTOWs.

Any guy with a big bankroll isn’t going to waste his time with the Lena Dunham’s of the world.

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one here who knows many, many married couples in which both husband and wife are average looking (at best). I don’t think any of the men are six-footers or over, nor do any of them have a six-figure salary. (There is one exception–one couple out of dozens I know–where I think the husband is probably over six feet tall, rather attractive in a nerdy kind of way, in good shape, and earns a good living–though far from six figures. The wife is pretty but unassuming.)

The idea that women won’t look at a guy who isn’t tall, handsome, and rich is–quite obviously–just another load of crap made up by incels to rationalize their inability to attract women.

If you’re an incel and can’t attract a women, it is not because the tiny fraction of the male population that is rich and handsome is hogging up all the women. It is because incels never leave the house and thus never meet any women, because they can’t carry on a conversation, and because (like Jarek) they are obnoxious.

If Jarek ever left the house and met any actual people (as opposed to chatting with other incels online), he too would probably have encountered dozens of married couples and would have deduced that you don’t have to be tall, rich, and handsome to find a girl and get married. Or at least one would think he would have deduced that. Unfortunately, Jarek lives in a world of impenetrable fantasy. I doubt if any amount of contact with objective reality would pry him loose from his fantasies and rationalizations.

            @ Soul Forensics:

I have never in my life met one of those MGTOW. Maybe they exist. Maybe not. In fact, it seems to me that there are quite a few types of people that have an online existence, but no existence in objective reality.

          • Soul Forensics September 23, 2023 at 1:03 pm #

            Anthea,

That’s the point. MGTOWs, in my understanding and from talking with a few, don’t converse with women at all, except out of necessity (job requirements, i.e., but even here, they will draw the line at sliding into socializing, even small talk) and day-to-day surface transactions.

It’s not my road, but hey, in today’s climate, I feel for young, successful, fit, intelligent men. Seems like a valid path, but it’s probably severely limited to disciplined, ambitious sorts (cold showers and dial-a-ho, I imagine, would get pretty tiresome after a while).

Brand does have a no-no square, turns out: if you haven’t seen the picture at the famous fountain, he is in the bottom 2 or 3 percent, in the size he took.

OTOH the American Medical Establishment wasn’t able to get their filthy paws on his foreskin and throw it in the trash, or sell it to Big Cosmetics (as they do now), as was done with 120 Million Americans and Canadians.

    • 100th Avatar September 22, 2023 at 11:03 am #

The UK parliament is now making demands to tech hosting platforms to shut-down Brand.

From Magna Carta to Mega C**ts.

The same country that snatched Assange and locked him away in a prison. Literally disappeared a human being without recourse.

      Prison planet indeed.

The MP making the loudest demands seems to be married to a member of ’77th brigade’. There was some coverage of this on Reddit Lockdown Sceptics.

One sometimes wonders if any UK MPs *aren’t* working for MI5, MI6 or GCHQ. To judge from past scandals, at least two MPs appear to be spying for a foreign power. That used to be called treason I think, but that was many years ago.

      • C.O.Jones September 22, 2023 at 2:40 pm #

Spot on. “They” went to one of the girls Assange had sex with and said “he raped you.”
This was the girl who was tweeting to her friends about how excited she was to be at a party with this fascinating man (Assange). She told “them” no, he didn’t rape me – he’s wonderful!
“They” then asked her if she knew Assange had sex with a different girl the very next night.
        “He raped me!”
That was their premise for charging him with sex crimes. Add a broken condom and you have an international arrest warrant.
One of those girls was less than 3 degrees of separation from a 3 letter organization.

        • Islander September 22, 2023 at 7:58 pm #

I think she did retract her accusations.

          But it was too late.

As I mentioned in my orig. post on this theme, only certain girls have this celebrity sex fantasy—and/or act on it.

Maybe the prettier girls are the ones who think their looks will carry them further with this gambit than turns out to be the case.

Does anyone really care what Russell Brand did 10 years ago, with the unnamed women?
Or was it just an excuse for the Blob to cancel, excoriate, and prosecute him?

It pisses me off beyond reason that we are supposed to be shocked!, shocked! and outraged that Russell Brand may have forced himself on a few women, over a decade ago, while the same Blob insists that men can force themselves into women’s spaces, and any woman who expresses outrage is herself cancelled, excoriated, and attacked.

Witness William ( called Lia) Thomas, who forced himself into the women’s locker room, exposed himself to multiple unwilling women, and then stole their swimming championship.

Unlike with Russell Brand, we are ordered to applaud him and call him “courageous”.

AND we are forced to call him a “her”, or at least, the entire media complies with that decree.

The MeToo narrative is trumped by the Trans agenda.

      • 100th Avatar September 22, 2023 at 11:22 am #

How does one exactly defend himself from such accusations?
Age old antics in the bedroom.

        They are a shut-down mechanism.

            Yes excellent points, Paula.

Think about what the blob will do to RFK Jr. The armed guy with the fake fed credentials arrested at his speech in California went to Kennedy’s private – because Biden denied him secret service protection – security detail and said it was imperative that they take him to Kennedy NOW!

They arrested the guy and the investigation showed him to be a Q-Anon acolyte, armed to the teeth with extra guns, knives and ammo.

If Kennedy survives the lone gunmen- plural – the blob sends at him and manages to get on the ballot, we willl need a spreadsheet to keep track of the women who jump up and claim Kennedy raped them 20 years ago. They have all been in counseling and choose now to come forward so they can get closure….

Brand is English, and is famous for his local cockney accent and roots. (nb4 I dunno if his accent is exactly cockney; “cockney” here is a stand-in meaning regional accent)

He is actually an excellent example of the Black Irish phenotype, which tho called black Irish, isn’t exclusive to Ireland.

For those who believe our putative leaders have darkened souls, that’s really just a function of perspective.

It actually says more about the observer, by revealing their deep programming and brainwashing that leads one to believe in self government.

If you hadn’t been taught this myth aka lie, would you independently reach that conclusion today knowing what you know both about history and current dynamics?

Of course not; you would conclude government is just the highest form of organized crime, acting as a pirate cartel with a voracious appetite for power, wealth and conquest.

And do the people complain? Hell no, not as long as they’re on the winning side. Which reveals the ultimate crime: losing.

That’s why I don’t get exercised and worked up. Rather, I just view the table as the game actually portrays. And that is, the West has lost, it’s 500 year long reign is over.

What this means going forward is critical on at least two levels: the winners side and the losers side.

The easy, smart play is to simply get out of Dodge and head east to Mother Russia. The harder route is to stay put and ride the waves of change as the long knives come out.

A key part of this will be the new, Hispanic based majority who will look at the past failures and accuse decadent whites of encouraging/supporting foreign adventures, and in so doing, losing their very birthright.

In this sea change, a new leadership class will emerge. I call it the new aristocracy.

    • messianicdruid September 22, 2023 at 11:13 am #

“In this sea change, a new leadership class will emerge.”

“The so-called democracies of the Western nations are in the process of discrediting the whole idea of democracy in the eyes of the rest of the world, even as the Kingdom of God rises. The idea that people’s vote actually counts has been exposed as a fraud, as election rigging is now seen to be the norm throughout the world—especially in Western-dominated countries.

That alone exposes the pseudo-democracies, designed to perpetuate the colonial structure. While the old-style colonialism has waned in the past century, neo-colonialism replaced it. This is where the colonial nations agreed to install native leaders who are beholden to them, being handpicked by the West to be the buffer and to give the appearance of independence.

As neo-colonialism is exposed, these “democracies” find it increasingly necessary to engage in censorship through the mainstream media. It is now reaching the point where one can be fined or even jailed for disagreeing with the official government narrative. When governments assume a role as arbiters of truth, we are indeed in serious trouble. The whole point of a “free press” was to prevent government control of the news and of truth itself.

So the idea that “we are a democracy” is now in stage 4 cancer and moving quickly toward the cemetery of history. The new generation arising is the idea of the Kingdom. It will grow and mature over time, of course. The kingdoms of men must give way to the Kingdom of God. For us, it is the ascent of HM King Jesus, the Christ of God, whose character and demonstrated love for the world has earned Him the right to rule the earth.”

The point is, what you perceive as black is actually normal among the millenia old pirate class.

Our entire history is merely a record of their exploits; what you think of as regular people are just the free riders tagging along.

Try reversing your pov – like any difficult task, it’s takes a while to get up to speed, especially if you have to correct prior training.

Look at the world from the winners’ perspective, across the vast landscape of the pitiful ants going about their mundane, daily lives.

See them screech and complain, shaking their puny fists, praying to their pitiful gods (who you invented and thrust upon them) for deliverence.

The winning rate is damn near 100% against domestic adversaries. Only France and Russia stick out as huge anomalies.

It’s not a matter of changing my perspective to admire criminals
. I can still see that they have blackened souls, and that is what enabled them to prosper.
Normal people have no need for endless wealth, or power over others. They find purpose in their “mundane lives” that doesn’t involve harming others.

I can see that the truly evil have always risen to the top, by using fear, plunder, and murder.
What I disagree with you on is your insistence that we should admire their character and deeds. That makes no sense to me.

And I don’t agree that the rest of us are free riders. Where do they get their plunder? Where do they get their wealth?
They steal it from those you call ”free riders”.

You have it backwards. Pirates are not the creators of wealth, they are the thieves
Like the US Navy, now tasked with stealing entire tankers of Iranian oil.
Or the EU openly stealing Russia’s reserves in their banks.
Or the US stealing the sovereign funds of Afghanistan, while their people go hungry.
Or the US occupying Syria, and stealing their oil and wheat, while Syrians go hungry and cold.

Look up to the pirates? No thanks. I am one of the little ants you disparage, and I gaze upon their works with disdain, because I have morals and ethics.

Having known a few fairly wealthy people, it’s been my observation that they are no happier than middle class people, and even many poor people. Many wealthy people are miserable.

I’ve never known anyone who was very, very wealthy–as in ruling-class wealthy–but I don’t envy them their lives. I suspect that their lives of power and luxury are little more than ashes in their mouths. It doesn’t take much to be happy: a modest income, a comfortable home, a community of friends and relatives. Anything much more than that is something you acquire for no other reason than that you feel you must top someone else–that is, social climbing, living your life to impress others. And if you have to do evil or dishonest things to achieve this, I would suppose it would eat at you. (The poem “Maude Muller” comes to mind–or “The Lake Isle of Innisfree.”) Surely such a person would be very much aware that their lives were empty of substance. And I would assume that, if they have normal human sensibilities, they would be troubled by this–even experience a great deal of pain.

A person CAN’T be happy and fulfilled on a path of wrongdoing.

You would think so, Anthea, but maybe they are all sociopaths.

Even sociopaths, however, have worries. They never know who is their friend, if any, and they no doubt worry all the time that there are other sociopaths out to get them and their spoils. (Because there are.)

The story of King Midas shows us how far the lust for wealth can go, and how little comfort and joy it really gives.

Does Victoria Nuland look like a happy person?

Yep, people are actually doing this. Can’t deny there’s a part of me that’s envious. There were Jews who managed to get out of Nazi Germany in 1933-34, before the gates slammed shut on that option.

The folks immigrating to Russia right now are like those escapees, and we who remain here in the former United States… well, we’re the ones who will have to deal with the coming concentration camps, executions and Holocaust.

“Under the US Constitution, federal failure to defend the border allows the states to repel the invaders with force. It also pretty explicitly spells out an impeachable offense against “Joe Biden” — failure to defend our country.”

The Biden regime and it’s useful idiots in the civil servant class known as the CBP and Border Patrol have removed the water/buoy barriers and, yesterday, concertina wire put in place by Texas.

Illegal Pass, Texas, is totally overrun. Previous administrations would put pressure on Mexico, would turn back the invaders to Mexico. Not this one.

People (and smuggling cartels) from all over the world are purchasing one-way tickets to Mexico. It is easy as Mexico does not have many visa barriers.

What drove media attention: families in custody.
Why is there no attention: (one reason) because nobody is in custody.

Sorry to get off topic, but I just had a disturbing image come to my mind.

Imagine if the great film “The Bride on The River Kwai” was re-made in today’s Hollywood.

    Some quick thoughts:

Instead of a Burma/Thailand route, the bridge would span a gap between Oakland and San Francisco.

British POW’s would be replaced by LGBTQ+, BLM, and various other social justice warriors.

Japanese soldiers, with their horrific atrocities committed, would be replaced by a Caucasoid, captitalist-loving, industrialized dynamic.

Chris Rock would play the role of Colonel Nicholson (played by the late Alec Guiness).

Colonel Saito’s role would be played by a devout Trump supporter.

Re-education, low stimulus, “safe rooms” would be used instead of the torturous hot boxes used to break one’s will. (With an endless tape loop narrated by Oprah Winfrey, reminding victims that their success in life was due to “white privilege”).

Of course a Covid variant would replace Malaria as the on-going disease.
The mere thought of using Ivermectin for treatment would result in one being buried up to their neck and defecated on by a homeless transient.
Only those succumbing to a mandated vaccine could work on the bridge.

Mismanagement, cost overruns, pandemics, supply shortages, and endless environmental studies push the initial budget of the film from 900 million to just short of 2.8 billion dollars in a matter of months.

The “Rainbow Bridge” is never actually blown up in the movie. Instead, the Folsom Street Fair takes place on the span, and as the film is ending, a shot of Gavin Newsom is shown, being spanked while locked in a pillory as he screams “Madness!….Madness!”.

Every president since Eisenhower has refused to defend the borders. Of course, most of them committed war crimes too. The Connecticut Yankee Bush family, never Southerners, never Texans, is among the worst. Bush the Lesser (R-Connecticut) is as dumb as his critics made him out to be. With his affected accent and fake aw shucks bullshit, he really did a number on this country. His lasting legacy will be ushering in the surveillance state / NWO and being the biggest war criminal in the history of the world.

Has nobody thought to ask why he speaks the way he does when he spent the first six years of his life in the backwaters of New England and his other siblings, who were actually born in Texas, speak like their father?

Texas is quickly becoming the most important state in the nation. I’d like to think that benevolent, or at least agnostic, forces are removing the Bush family from the meshes of power and ending our long national nightmare, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

          Well, “always” was too extreme.

However, owing to its size it has in fact been pretty damned important.

Especially after the discovery of oil. That ushered in a period in which both parties had the same priority, to protect the oil depletion allowances, and oil also gave Texas outsize power in DC.

But oil was not the only factor giving Texas’ swing weight in DC. Corporate entities that became hugely powerful in the Vietnam War are also based in Texas.

This thinking is not original with me.

A bit off topic maybe, but I wonder why nobody yet has tried stuffing curare (the medical grade stuff you steal from a hospital supply company) inside a .22 cal rimfire hollowpoint bullet. To kill any mammal quickly all you’d need to do is hit the creature (that includes humans) anywhere. The location of the wound is irrelevant, an ordinarily non lethal flesh wound is all that’s needed. The curare gets in the bloodstream and the mammal dies quickly. If pharma grade curare isn’t available I believe you can make your own with simple lab equipment using plant material obtainable via mail order or internet. If African pygmies can make the stuff any redneck should be able to do the same. A .22 rimfire is very accurate, inexpensive, and doesn’t make nearly as much sound and commotion as a .308. Imagine the death and destruction you could inflict on a group of people using a .22 cal rimfire machine gun. Such guns don’t exist – yet.

“I have never seen in my lifetime, any President from Franklin Roosevelt to Biden or any Senator or House of Representative whose goal was to return this nation back to the ways of the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights. None – not one including President Reagan. Everyone of these mentioned from Presidents to Congressmen knew that the Federal Government was given delegated power by the Sovereign States and had no power over the States that all power belonged to the people and the Sovereign States of America, every President and Congressman knew the Federal Reserve was illegal, and every President and Congressman knew that people were inside our government and our institutions, using the Marxists ideology to influence this nation to the ways of the Deep State demonic occults, Klaus Schwab and the New World Order and each of them did absolutely nothing to correct it.

The government, congress, the religious community, and We the People sat back and watched it happen from the 1800s to this day. In the 1980s, our group discovered that the disciples of Saul Alinsky and a host of college professors, the Marxist Frankfurt School, United Nations, the Rothschilds of Europe, the Masons, and a host of demonic occults in the 60s had a systematic plan to go secretly into our government, school system, media, textbook publication, television, institutions or any area of influence to take a long walk through those institutions in order to gain control and to influence and change the thinking of this nation. We went to the religious institutions to warn them and no one believed us but mocked us!!!”

The Birchers were right all along. When Welch said that his only conclusion, based on Eisenhower’s actions, was that he was a communist, he was correct. Eisenhower, probably unwittingly, as he seemed like the least intelligent of all the major leaders in WWII, did the bidding of the Marxists, abroad and at home. When the communists took to the streets in this country, he sent in the guard, not to protect the local citizens and disperse the communists, but to protect the communists from the local citizens.

The civil rights people would love that. They claim all their communities were torn apart when Interstates were built through their backyards. I often wonder about all the farmsteads in rural areas that also lost a lot of land to the Interstates. Where is the social justice for them?

Paved highways require huge inputs of nat gas to make concrete, and asphalt is a big product of refining petroleum. When either of these substances become scarce or costly we’ll be back to driving on gravel and dirt.

I thought they sometimes used concrete as a form of carbon capture? They would put carbon in the concrete and that would lock it away forever. Maybe I am mistaken. John Kerry should look into this. Would be perfect with the communist architecture they want to build in the cities, since those commie buildings all use a lot of ugly looking concrete.

I notice comments here and elsewhere have variations of the same idea. Namely that some sort of spiritual or Christian deity will come down to earth and commence to kick ass soon enough and woe to the sinners.

That is simply virtue signaling. “I’m a good person who won’t fight my enemies but I’ll be first in line to cheer on Jesus when he comes back, sword in hand”.

That’s why the Left has won the culture wars. They act because to them the ends always justify the means. “Normies” waiting for divine intervention will eventually be waiting in a cell or prison camp if things keep heading the way they are.

Well, maybe the the Christian nation of Russia will be the instrument that delivers the wrath of God upon the secular Western nations who for some strange reason find themselves compelled – once again – to attack Russia. The Rapture believers think that Jesus will call all the faithful up in the sky to have a big wedding and war party in heaven. And then they’ll all gather together with Jesus leading the charge to come down here and whup asses. And the Raptured in their new white robes will appear on earth as the new commisars who will keep all the heathen in line and under control.

I think the Fatima prophecies of 1917 are relevant. Our Lady foretold the end of WWI and the beginning of WWII. She made specific requests to bring about the fall of Communism and the conversion of Russia. Most of these were directed towards ordinary people: the daily recitation of the rosary, confession and communion, and the observation of First Saturday devotions.

Back in the 70s, First Saturday devotions were a big deal. I attended several, myself, and I wasn’t even Catholic at the time. They featured a pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima. At that time there was a Fatima Choir that I think was always in attendance. Churches took turns hosting First Saturday devotions. Their purpose, per Our Lady’s requests, was to bring about the fall of Communism and the conversion of Russia.

I don’t know about everybody else, but no one was more surpised than I was when Communism collapsed and Russia began to be converted.

However, Our Lady made another request. She requested that the pope consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart. This was never done–or never done properly. The pope consecrated the world to her Immaculate Heart–presumably making the decision to punt.

Our Lady said that if people did not follow her requests that “Russia would spread her errors throughout the world,” and that “various nations will be annihilated.” So I suppose there has been a strange twist to events: Russia did indeed “spread her errors throughout the world” before being converted and having Communism collapse.

However, Our Lady went on to say that, “In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph,” the pope would consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart, and there would be a period of peace. One wonders about this, because we don’t have a legitimate pope right now, as Ann Barnhardt has documented in two two-hour videos.

In case you are not familiar with the story about WWII, Our Lady foretold to Sister Lucia (the eldest of the three little visionaries and the only one to survive to adulthood) that she would know when WWII was about to begin when she saw a “strange light” in the sky. This actually occurred. It was generally believed to be an aurora borealis visible over a remarkably large area. The story is that Hitler was in the German Alps at the time and, seeing it, took it as a sign that it was time to begin the war. (This part is Malachi Martin’s account.)

        • Paula D September 24, 2023 at 11:56 am #

Russia didn’t convert. Russia is still Orthodox.

The Catholic Church was allied with Hitler in the attempt to destroy the USSR, and was allied with Allen Dulles in setting up the Vatican Ratline, and allied with Pompeo in the setting up of a Rome-backed alternative Orthodox Church in Ukraine.

The Kiev regime is now engaged in a massive repression the actual Orthodox Church in Ukraine, which includes imprisoning and killing the priests and nuns, burning the churches, and stealing the relics.

Some of the spoils were sent to the Vatican! Shades of the sack of Constantinople.

Catholic prayers are not answered yet, until the last priest has been murdered, and the last bit of loot confiscated.

    • tuco22 September 22, 2023 at 12:59 pm #

Well, there isn’t going to be any benevolent human intervention to “fix” things in the United States. The country is largely gone. The church hasn’t reared its head for better than three years, preferring to let the country go to the devil, literally, rather than risk a visit from blm or antifa for speaking out against federally sponsored tyranny and bankruptcy.

      • RD3 September 22, 2023 at 1:05 pm #

If you are speaking of the Roman Catholic Church, Vatican II was the Marxist revolution in the Church. It has been largely ineffectual or doing actual evil since then. When I was a kid, my parish had a pastor who was ordained in the 1940’s and was an old-style Irish bigot of the best variety. He didn’t give a flying fuck about what had become of the Church since Vatican II. He railed against usury and mortgages and war criminals and money lenders. He was a regular Father Coughlin or Denis Fahey. I miss that guy.

“In “Tavistock Institute: Social Engineering the Masses,” award winning investigative journalist Daniel Estulin writes that the religious and mystical dimensions to the story of Tavistock are central to the study of the U.S. government’s postwar interests in how psychology and parapsychology could benefit the intelligence agencies:

“It was Tavistock and the cabal of scientists who were the first to bring the potential uses of paranormal abilities in military applications (and) the first in developing chemical substances that would stimulate psychic abilities. This cabal included men, such as Dr. Sidney Gottlieb, head of CIA’s Technical Services Staff with shadowy connections both to Operation Paperclip (and) the Kennedy assassination.”

“Swirling about the Kennedy assassination ‘was a sticky fog of occultists, wandering bishops, American intelligence and Nazi scientists. They were all talking to ghosts, practicing ritual magic, holding hands around the séance table or sacrificing chickens in New Orleans apartments. And, in some cases they were also members of America’s ruling elite, the wealthiest, best connected, families in the country.’ (p. 41)

“Operations Bluebird, Artichoke, and MK-ULTRA were designed by the CIA to probe the human mind in order to respond to similar practices of the Soviet Union and China in what is popularly termed ‘brainwashing.’ ‘Brainwashing’ is really mind control. Its techniques were discovered in the records of occultists, magicians, witches, voodoo priests, and Siberian shamans. These occult mind control techniques have been used since time immemorial to supplant a person’s normal consciousness with a demonic, powerful, all-knowing, and sometimes violent, and always deceptive alter personality.” (p. 44)”

Perhaps you’ve heard, CFNers, VP Harris has been appointed the ‘Gun Safety Czar’ for the United States. This is in addition to her duties as the ‘Border Czar’, an appointment from several years ago. I find it interesting that the ‘Border Czar’ never actually visited the border; instead, she traveled to Central America to seek out the “root causes” of illegal immigration. What she found was never revealed, but Jim mentioned in his blog that 10,000 illegals a week are crossing in now. As far as ‘Gun Safety’ goes, something tells me the VP will not be investigating the mayhem & bloodshed in the hoods of nearby Baltimore & DC, where the vast majority of “Gun Crime” occurs; no, VP Harris will be looking at ‘White Supremacists’ (the root of all evil) and legacy gun manufacturers like Ruger & Smith & Wesson.

Last week in Hartford a young police officer was killed when Homey, 18 years old, was making a quick getaway in a stolen car. The day of the funeral, on local media and by govt officials, we heard a cacophony of bullsh#t about healing, bringing the Community together, anti violence measures, we’re all in this together blah blah blah … that night, after the ‘Celebration of Life’ had ended, in that same neighborhood, three people were shot two different incidents.

So much for “bringing the Community together.”

    • tuco22 September 22, 2023 at 1:24 pm #

VP Harris will definitely be looking at “white supremacists” and no doubt going after gun manufacturers the way they went after the tobacco companies in the 90s. White people aren’t allowed to have solidarity like the pocs do. If they do, they’re automatically branded a hate group. And yet they still vote for the people who made it so. I expect the democrats to win a 2nd term, and then the real goodies will come out of the administration.

“… because I did come out the next morning and I saw the death trap. … there were no power lines still the following morning. Everybody could have gotten out. Everybody could have gotten out. It was free sailing going north.

It’s obvious: we were intentionally trapped.”?
            – Front Street escapee Ann Williams

            ***
Obviously, Vegas Turkey-Shoot “Incident Commander” John Pelletier has “a lot of ‘splaining to do!”

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Lahaina 8/8 stinks to high heaven.

            ***
100, “What was the result of this posting?” you may wonder. Gus tried his best to corruptly bastardize and dismiss Ann Williams’ riveting testimony in his continued and inexplicable running cover for obvious mass murder but, when then challenged on his transparent, lying, corrupt bullsh!t, Little Gussie took his ball and his lies and his hurt widow feewings and his man-child brain and rage-quit CFN like a little girl. Sad but true.

What are your thoughts, 100, on Ann Williams’ damning testimony of what really happened at Lahaina, HI on 8/8?

            ***
GA I have read your final words on the previous (Boldly in to the Chaos) CFN thread. My children are both more than 1s but, alas, are also both jabbed. What would I do? First of all, I would instruct them to NOT LIE about their status. I’d do so more for them than for those around them. You see, out in the big, bad world liars get caught lying and then their credibility is shot. Like Gus, for example.

I believe that our differences boil down to this, GA: you advocate for peace and decorum, which is a wonderful XX trait. I, on the other hand, set peace and decorum aside in my determined quest for the truth (which is a wonderful XY trait).

Also, why was Gus’ constant ridicule of my (mental) health acceptable while his lying to us about his health completely off limits? Goose/gander, I say.

Hey ‘G, Gary D. Barnett has an article over at LewRockwell in which he makes the claim that, “In Lahaina, homes of the very rich were magically spared, as were certain state buildings, grand hotels, and other areas of State favor.”

He doesn’t provide a source. In your investigation have you encountered similar claims, and more importantly found any evidence? It would be interesting to see lists and/or maps.

Barnett’s claim, if true, might be just another anomaly, piled on what appears to be a growing stack of anomalies.

Blobitis* – Inflammation of the Blob.

Lahaina certainly looks like a symptom of that condition to me.

*Is it just me, or is the title of today’s post strangely missing today?

          • OG September 22, 2023 at 11:44 pm #

Hey BB. I have heard similar claims but have nothing solid to point you to. There are also claims that a visible green beam was seen scanning Lahaina intensively in January. Speculation is that that was a precise 3-D mapping to program the DEWs for the 8/8 incineration of the targets.

I will seek out “Gary D. Barnett has an article over at LewRockwell” now – thanks!

From memory, there was a title when the post first went out. Might have been ‘Blobitis’ or something, but don’t quote me!

          • GreenAlba September 23, 2023 at 8:58 am #

Sorry, just noticed you actually mentioned the title. 🙂

          • GreenAlba September 23, 2023 at 9:35 am #

OG – I didn’t want to say any more about this, so this is annoying. You mistake my motives – deliberately, I’d say, because you do like to shoehorn in a bit of sexism whenever you can, in this case only a step away from fruit pie (which I don’t make, largely because it’s full of sugar)..

I am not looking for either peace or decorum. I will argue with the best of them when required. I do not consider that there is anything wrong with you writing as often as you want to about Lahaina – I too would like to know the truth.

You will not find out the truth by trolling Gus about his ‘vaccination’ status, because whatever happened in Lahaina has no connection whatever with Gus’ vaxx status. Nor does your opinion of Gus generally – or about his ‘rating’ on your personal gullibility scale – have any relevance to the truth about Lahaina, so your trolling of Gus regarding his character, which you presume to know, is not in any way helpful to finding out the truth about Lahaina.

Gus’ vaxx status, or anyone else’s, is none of your business unless they choose to discuss it with you. The fact that my recollection is that he mentioned not being jabbed is neither here nor there. If he refuses to confirm that he isn’t vaxxed, to make the legitimate point that you owes you no such explanation, because who the heck are you anyway to set yourself up as judge and jury, well, good for him.

My view of your wish to harangue Gus at a very personal level for not agreeing with you is nothing to do with ‘peace and decorum’. Gus’ opinions have no bearing on the truth about Lahaina (in the unlikely event of his having some concrete evidence pertinent to the matter, that might be different), any more than mine do – and I smell a very large rat, one way or another.

All of the above is said entirely without animosity, by the way, lest my own personal troll feel the need to blather about ‘rage’ again. I am just giving you my opinion. I am not the conversation police, and, if you choose to continue your very personal vendetta against Gus and his supposed character, well, then, have at it and I will scroll on by.

On another matter entirely, here is a bit of good news from somewhere called Aurora in Canada, where the citizenry – or some of them, anyway – are standing up to the smart ghettoes.

          • Jarek September 23, 2023 at 1:31 pm #

He owes no explanation? Legally, morally, or in terms of the debate/combat?

Not the first, obviously. The second, no, not really. But the third?

Debates have their own ethos and rules. There is a code of honor, long since forgotten and never known by women in any case.

He can walk away – but he forfeits.

You have a point though: His vaccination status is different than his view on Lahaina. In a strict debate, OG would be called on this. OG is taking towards combat!

I believe Gus refused the Vax from his previous communications.

You said that you tore up an important document(s) in a fit of rage.

          • GreenAlba September 23, 2023 at 2:57 pm #

I’m sure OG will be delighted to pay attention to your opinion, toadie. I have no interest in it.

I mentioned neither ‘fit’ nor ‘rage’, lying toad.

I have more honour in my little finger than you have in your entire toadie body, warts and all.

          • Jarek September 24, 2023 at 2:53 am #

You’re lying, Alba. Just like Mary used to do.

          • GreenAlba September 24, 2023 at 11:38 am #

Project away, toadie. I never mentioned such hyperbolic notions as ‘rage’ or ‘fit’. You are just doing what you do.

I know exactly what I said and what the circumstances were. I do not suffer from ‘fits of rage’. Anyone who has never been angered by something (as you are angered by anything you perceive as anti-white or some are angered by stolen elections) is not normal.

          • Jarek September 24, 2023 at 1:30 pm #

What about the document you tore up, what to speak of your endless insults against me?

          • GreenAlba September 24, 2023 at 5:06 pm #

I’ve just told you I recall the circumstances and your ridiculous hyperbole is just what it is.

I do not insult you unless you insult me first. I do not bring your name into posts gratuitously, as you do with me when I’m not even participating.

Perhaps you should just stop doing it. If you don’t lie about things people have said (you know perfectly well you’re famous for it on here – it has nothing to do with me), then people won’t need to call you out for it.

“Attorney General Merrick Garland’s performance… the AG artfully evaded explaining how it is he doesn’t know a darn thing about the consequential cases in process at his DOJ…”

It’s good to know that We the People are getting our money’s worth for the sheetload of money we pay these grifters to do things that are opposing to our best interest.

    ‘I nothing NOTH-ing! NOTH-ING!’

What’s this great ‘Public Servant’ been doing with all his time if he knows… Noth-ing? Watching 1960s TV re-runs set in World War Two all day and night? Figuring out the size of his government pension? Making calls to set up his next gig when his ‘behind’ is dispatched from the lofty perch it is currently resting in? So much to do, so little time.

“When asked if he could give a working definition of professional incompetence, the AG affected to be stumped.”

Of course he was. Personality types usually fail to recognize Their Own Kind. Birds of a feather failing together.

“Mr. Paxton must be royally pissed off by these shenanigans and maybe ready to rumble with blob agent Homeland Security Sec’y Alejandro Mayorkas…”

So We the People not only have to endure the stink coming from The Swamp. Now we get the additional indignity of an ever-growing Blob of Blob-etts and Wokesters and Public Servants who hide from The Public and who never serve anyone but themselves.

We the People are so lucky to watch everyone splashing and sloshing around in the stinky waters of entrenched privilege and misguided delusions of godhood that surround us. We could all use a really good clean shower and soaping (but from a soap company that did not recently Go Woke! on us).

“… with Autumn here and temperatures along the border moderating, crossings of illegal aliens are at 10,000 a day… ‘an invasion’.”

The solution to this is all so simple. LET THEM ALL come up and cross The Rio Grande into The Indispensable Nation. All of them. While at the same time, We the People all head South. Let the Illega… er… MY-grants come to the Land of Freedom and have their way with it. And we’ll see what they’ve done with it in five years or so. Or maybe just one.

And Legacy Americans can head South and rebuild and reclaim the lands that The Teeming Oppressed! are trying to get away from. Sounds like a fair trade.

But leave your Woke-Soap behind. And wave and smile as you’re walking by…

One more dead in my fam. Sister at emerg due to excruciating headache, xrayed, nothing, sent home.
Day 2, see day one, after a 6 hour wait.
Lays in bed at home, screaming. Sudden quiet. Husband goes in, she’s dead.

So far 1 amputation, cancer in a child.
2 clots, death of a 30 yr old.

So sorry about your sister, anmari – that is truly horrendous. The carnage in your family seems to be disproportionate (I have 2 friends, whom I see together, who think I’ve succumbed to conspiracy theories and claim not to know a single person adversely affected by the jabs, even though one of the two is suffering from chronic fatigue!)

Re Alzheimer’s, my husband’s sister (prob.about 65) started talking about memory problems within a month or two of the first boosters, at the end of 2021 – she was also diagnosed with Alzheimer’s later in the year. I’m sure I’d get my head bitten off if I suggested there was any connection.

      • anmariwakaranai September 23, 2023 at 12:38 pm #

        Thanks Alba.

The alzheimers was coming, but not this early in their lives. The still living sister had a terrible reaction to the first jab, sick and coming out of both ends for 2 weeks.

But the lymphoma and osteo sarcoma I put squarley on the vex.

Notice how every “conspiracy theory” demeaned by the Socialist/Communist/Fascist Democrat scum and their lackey MSM since before 2016 has been coming true of late. The Democrat scum no longer even hide the fact that they want a full de facto dictatorship with them in charge BEFORE the 2024 election. As more and more conservative pundits are screaming–the destruction of the American Republic by the Democrat scum is not being done because of stupidity and ineptitude on their part, IT IS BEING DONE ON PURPOSE. Indeed, the whole Democrat strategy is to go so far anti-American that actual Americans will get so threatened, harassed, beaten up, and victimized by the Democrat scum and their violent shock troops that actual Americans will finally react violently. That, just as happened with Nazi-incited reactionary violence in Germany in the 1930’s, will give the Democrat scum the excuse to impose Martial Law, to abolish habeas corpus, and to begin imprisoning and exterminating any opposition to the Democrat Socialist/Communist/Fascist regime. The 2024 election? Well, that will just have to wait–permanently.

Make no mistake, the Democrats WANT a Civil War because they think that they will win it. They might, but they just might want to think about how many hundreds of thousands or more of their own supporters might die in the process. The Democrats might want to look at history. Evil wannabe dictators may start wars, but it is usually the other side that finishes–and wins–it.

Well, I just read a headline that “hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan migrants” will be given “temporary work permits.”

      Why Venezuelans in particular?

      My speculation:
This is a shot as the supposed dictatorship of Maduro, who did not step aside to let the USA install Gaiudo (sp?) in his place and insulted the USA by hanging on to power.

Now, any Venezuelan illegal is viewed as a genuine asylum seeker. (This was the line put forth at the after-film discussion of the DeSantis situation: that Venezuelans are by definition and prima facae asylum seekers.)

We’re getting there but we got off-track yesterday. Somehow Lahaina 8/8 became about Gus & I but now Gus has left CFN and I remain, as always, irrelevant.

Ann Williams, of course, is relevant and she publicly accuses the Maui PD (i.e. Vegas Turkey-Shoot John Pelletier) of mass murder.

These are the most serious corruption allegations of the entire year yet the CFN silence is deafening.

After watching Ann Williams’ testimony, who here still believes that all these fishy circumstances and coincidences were all benign, bumbling incompetence?

Who here believes that the sequence of events were (pretty much) what is detailed above?

I never did get that one, Q. You’d think that I’d sometimes luck into getting it correct but I seem to strike out most of the time.

        • Blackbird September 22, 2023 at 7:46 pm #

          ‘G,

If you’d like to get your use of me/I correct more often, take the other person’s name out of the sentence, and see if it sounds right.

For example: “Somehow Lahaina 8/8 became about I”. Umm, nope.

So then: “Somehow Lahaina 8/8 became about me”. And therefore: “Gus and me”.

The ‘Stick taught me that one – if any of my teachers did, I must have forgot. But now I expect to rarely make that mistake again.

          • OG September 22, 2023 at 7:56 pm #

Right Blackbird, I was just about to make that explanation again for OG’s benefit.

Yes, ‘Stick, I was in a hurry to beat you to it – thus the incorrect form of “forgot”.

After all is said and done, and talked about ad nauseum, the facts are:
1-America is dead; it no longer exists, just look around.
2-the us$ is in the process of dying (one $ in 1970 is now worth less than one CENT)
3-The uscorp no longer has a reliable and sufficient supply of energy to run itself.
4-most of the world hates the uscorp and will do what it can to jab it in any way
5-what was once our country is now a soup of people who hate each other
6-all of our historical institutions and values have been destroyed and/or degraded.
7-the national debt will never be paid back and everyone, but amerikans, knows it.

Plan: buy all the gold, silver, ammo, storable food you can get; obtain a water source that you can control; bring family, friends and neighbors together, learn to pray to your G_d (not money) if you don’t know how. CW2 is approaching rapidly.

Everything you say is true. The “soup” is a roiling cauldron of human waste and potential. Predominately human waste.

    • Woodchuck September 23, 2023 at 11:10 am #

“Obtain a water source that you can control”.

Hmm. How to do that? If you own a small piece of land or your home is on a large enough lot you can hire a well digger to put in a pipe down to where the water is. However, most everyone these days uses electric well pumps that will be useless during power outages. Seems like the most reliable pump for any situation would be one you pump by hand.

Or you install a large elevated water tank that is high enough to provide some decent pressure via gravity. Pump the water up there while the electric grid isn’t experiencing a breakdown. Few people are lucky enough to have a spring nearby. I’m somewhat lucky in that there’s a very large spring a few blocks away from my place. Unfortunately it’s at the bottom of a steep hill and I’d have to use some muscle or fossil fuel energy to haul that water back home. The spring empties immediately into a creek. Long ago in beginning of the last century people would take their clothing to this creek and wash it there. I reckon I could do the same as well as jumping into a deep spot in the creek to bathe.

Woodchuck: all good points. Also, if you have a backyard pool, a Berkey or similar filter will take the chlorine out and your pool water becomes drinkable. Or, you can collect rain water from any kind of cistern or barrel.

      • Blackbird September 23, 2023 at 8:03 pm #

“…install a large elevated water tank that is high enough to provide some decent pressure via gravity. Pump the water up there while the electric grid isn’t experiencing a breakdown.”

Or… Install one of those little windmills that midwestern folk have been using to fill their elevated water tanks for 100+ years. Best use for wind power, in my opinion. Might even be able to fit a turbine into the downline to charge your 15-year-old computer.

And yes, save rainwater in cisterns – as much as you can. (I’d say “elevated” but you will probably be collecting off your roof, so… hand pump). Less moving parts. In the near future, that will count for more than it does now.

  36. mitchellc September 22, 2023 at 5:56 pm #

Regarding your point #4, part of the de-programming process is to come to terms with how many wars, coups and general global misery the US has brought to the world, all in the name of ‘freedom and democracy’.

When you say ‘our’ country, what is meant by that phrase is an explicit admission that you supported the expropriation of foreign assets and resources to enjoy the outsized “American way of life”.

Our entire economy, social welfare and military are 100% a function of printing money out of thin air that others are foolish enough to accept as sovereign debt.

When this ride comes to its end, the crash is going to be one for the ages.

    • OG September 22, 2023 at 6:08 pm #

As JHK and many commenters have already noted, that WEF dream ship has already sailed.

I’m not convinced. What makes you say this?

      • mitchellc September 22, 2023 at 6:32 pm #

The WEF wet dream needs a functioning police state to be successful, which in turn is dependent on a functioning economy to supply sufficient funding to maintain full spectrum security.

The problem is, the US/EU economy is comprised of end state financial capitalism, which really means that it’s supported by issuance of dollars and euros with nothing of value backing it except empty promises to repay.

I like to say: “no tickie, no washie.” No dollar, no economy, social welfare, MIC or operating government. Or, as I said upstream “It’s dead, Jim”.

Russia and China targeted the dollar as priority #1. Winning that battle brings down the West and any/all dreams of control by existing government forces.

Oh, we are getting our neo-feudal future; it’s just gonna be different people in charge running a traditional low tech racket.

        • OG September 22, 2023 at 7:25 pm #

What if WEF’s wet dream is decimating die-off anarchy and then they execute their plans to successfully establish their crushing police state out of the ashes (i.e. vastly diminished and needier, compliant sheep to police)?

What if the WEF elites are actually in bed with the Russian and Chinese elite and any perceived differences is merely a ruse?

I think that you are blithely writing off the WEF while they still actually firmly control everything that they need to make all their wet dreams come true.

          • TPTB-USA September 22, 2023 at 8:09 pm #

The WEF has a formal agreement with the UN to facilitate implementation of the 2030 Agenda.

The Saudi Vision 2030 is structured to comply, and has the blessing of the UN 2030 Agenda.

These entities are alive and well.

My concern is that the likes of Xi and MBS are gaming the 2030 system and the likes of John Kerry, and the deal makers have basically set us (the citizens) up for failure (and the sucker punch).

            That’s what I think.

Seems to me that reports of the WEF waking up from their wet dream are greatly exaggerated.

Just as with “Covid” and “long-term effects”, the American (and now the rest of you Westerners too) mind is unable to wrap itself around any story that can’t be resolved in one sitting.

Example: The “Great Reset Conspiracy Theory” comes out on Monday. If by Tuesday we aren’t all in cages, “Uh huh, more tinfoil hat nonsense…”

I don’t think we’ve seen the end of “Covid” or the Great Reset by a long shot. And when we do, it won’t be anything like today.

“Phasing out fossil fuels is unrealistic as oil, natural gas, and coal will continue to play a crucial role in global energy supply and energy security, China’s special climate envoy Xie Zhenhua said this week in a speech obtained by Reuters.

‘It is unrealistic to completely phase out fossil fuel energy,’ Xi, who will represent China at COP28 in Dubai in November, told ambassadors in Beijing ahead of the climate summit.

China is the world’s biggest consumer of coal and the largest importer of crude oil. Despite soaring renewable power capacity installations in recent years, China continues to consume growing volumes of coal, oil, and natural gas and continues to approve the construction of new coal-fired power capacity.”

“China is also building or planning to build some 366 gigawatts (GW) in new coal generation capacity, accounting for some 68% of global planned new coal capacity as of 2022.”

WEFers are doing a great job on the Great Reset in the West. Xi is well aware of what is up. Their consumption is off the charts, and will continue to rise.

The West is imploding by its own design, in order to put you on a digital plantation and ensure you never get out. Ever.

Still time to stop it, ofc. But many heads will need to be removed from many asses.

It’s interesting to to note that with regards to the 2024 election, both Tucker Carlson and Ed Dowd have have reached the same conclusion, albeit from completely opposite directions.

That being there will be a hot war between the US and Russia as a distraction to the US Elections, ie martial law.
Bets are that the US will lose.

Carlson reasons that because the Demons have indicted their political opponent they MUST win the election or face legal consequences.

Dowd proposes that the increasing reality of the incredible out of bounds excess mortality rates means that the pitchforks and torches will be coming out once people realize that their loved ones and friends have been murdered by Big Pharma.

Either way, the Blob must respond to protect itself.
This response will not be very nice…

      • OG September 22, 2023 at 8:33 pm #

Edward Dowd is the author of “Cause Unknown”: The Epidemic of Sudden Deaths in 2021 & 2022. His career was Wall Street (DLJ on the sell-side and then Blackrock on the buy-side) so his findings are always intensely data-driven.

        • Ron Anselmo September 23, 2023 at 1:11 pm #

Dowd is always ahead because of his pattern recognition abilities – his data analysis skills are second to none.

The Blackrock funds under his management went from $2B to $14B.

He uses disparate (on purpose) sources of hard data to prove his thesis on excess deaths being the result of the “vaccines”.

What might be the catalyst for stocks to begin rising on Monday? How about a change in the received wisdom that a Govt shutdown is going to happen at 12:01am on Oct 1st. In other words maybe market participants will suddenly come to believe a Govt shutdown will be avoided.

I wasn’t paying attention at all to the shutdown news until today when my son Q Jr called to tell me how concerned he was about the possible shutdown. He is a civilian employee of the Army working at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in MD. Being a non-essential Govt employee he would stop working and his paychecks would cease.

The Blob may have difficulty projecting into rural Southern satrapies, like Texas and Mayberry?

For example in Mayberry, Sheriff Taylor was firmly ensconced in the local power structure. Sheriff Taylor had recruited a string of informants in the Mayberry “Black Community”, and he had formed an alliance with a local black gangster because it was not always politically expedient to employ white muscle against blacks, except around election time when Andy would often do a False Flag Op in which a virgin white girl from Mount Pilot pretended that she had been a sexually assaulted by a retarded black man in order to get the locals “All Riled Up” to vote for Sheriff Taylor.

It all went sideways for Taylor when he got hooked up with the Darlings. He impregnated young Darlene in a moment of weakness one night after Helen Crump left him and a shotgun wedding ensued shortly thereafter. The Darlings being inveterate hill people, all sorts of seedy, backwoods entanglements followed thereafter and Taylor was never the same man, leading to the cancellation of the once successful show for violating societal and network moral standards of the time. A cautionary tale, writ large! Even long time Deputy Barney Fife, who himself descended into drug use, alcoholism, and prostitution after leaving Mayberry for the bright lights of the big city, cut all ties with Taylor shortly thereafter.

Here is how this is going to go down: Biden will be forced out due to his age and corruption by the Democrat Communist Party. He will be given a decca million dollar pay out, and glowing tributes in the Far Left mainstream media, NYT, WaPo, MSNBC etc honored as the “most progressive President ever”.

Gavin Newsom will be the Dem-Com nominee in 2024, with Gretchen Whitmer as his running mate. They will “win” via mail in ballot fraud, with a “vote” total of 82 million votes. The fraud will be just as evident in 2024, as it was in 2020 and 2022 but “shut up you election denier or the FBI will run a tank through your door!”.

Kamala Harris will take either Feinstein’s vacated Senate spot, or move over to become AG replacing Garland. Together they will go hard after SCOTUS packing it with Marxist judges, and then the 2nd Amendment to disarm us all.

By 2028, we will be under full Authoritarian eco-Communist rule. The economy and border will have crashed and we will be being “built back better”.

You will own nothing and be told that you are happy. You will get cricket dough pizza with your choice of 2 lab grown toppings, taking the electric bus to your job in the 15 minute city, when you are not confined to your government owned tenement apartment made from converted abandoned retail and office space. 50% will be on Government payroll. 30% on UBI. 20% homeless, and those like myself purposely living off the grid as Pure Bloods, hunted for our organs.

A “bossy-pants.” Unusual combination, but I like it.

I’m stumbling across more and more credible opinion pieces out there supporting your Lahaina theories, OG, so I’m still up in the air on the whole thing. Among other things, the magical hurricane theory for the high winds is total bunk. WAY too far away to have been a factor. High Power Microwave (HPM) Weapons on the other hand, are more than capable enough to heat the local atmosphere and cause just such an event, including the many fire anomalies already widely noted.

The fact that people are so quick and vehement to dismiss it is another red flag for me. 9-11 – where I was initially totally fooled as well – unfolded pretty much the same way for several years afterward as I recall. Good magic is very powerful that way. People actually love to be fooled, and once fooled, are loathe to ever admit it. We all love our illusions and hold onto them tightly!

We’ll see how it all plays out, because the truth will eventually. Perhaps you should give it a rest for awhile here to let the facts catch up?

          • Ron Anselmo September 24, 2023 at 2:05 am #

Islander – I’m happy to answer your question(s). You’re fearless and relentless, and I admire you for those qualities. To a strong man – this one at least – there are no greater virtues in a strong woman.

You also have a strong intellect. Intellect is fine insofar as making the right decisions at the right times, for the right reasons, but absent courage, intellect pales. You are courageous.

Unfortunately, the answer won’t be worth your fight, but you’ve earned it, and you deserve it, so here goes:

The comment on Newsom/Whitmer was short and cryptic – “by whatever means” was a play on their own words.

The left – the Deep State brownshirts – has said in no uncertain terms that they will among other things, “defend democracy”, “by any means necessary”, meaning they will retain unchallenged and unquestioned power by any means necessary.

Murder – Seth Rich, Epstein, Vince Foster – the list is very long, coercion, extortion, blackmail, you name it, all criminal and pathological – any means necessary.

They say it and they mean it. It’s not a threat, it’s just a statement of fact. We sit back and take it.

My meaning was as OG suggested, as related to any upcoming elections, they will steal them again, by lying, cheating or stealing – “by any means necessary”.

The part about February 2025, was that if the above were to happen, I personally think that would be the last straw, and the rightful owners will take this country back, before any January 2025 inauguration.

There are things that need to be done in order to take this country back – deep down we all know what they are – but don’t want to face that truth. Defend your way of life, however you have to or lose it. That’s a very simple truth.

The things that must be done are not as scary as we make them out to be, they just need to be done – dispassionately, without emotion – not out of anger or hatred, just some things that need to be done.

There are few people out there who have the mindset and iron will to do such necessary things, but there are enough. The only analogy I can think of is putting down a family dog. No one wants to watch – the emotional toll is too much – but someone needs to do what they all know needs to be done.

            That time is drawing nigh.

          • Paula D September 24, 2023 at 12:12 pm #

Not an exception Paula, you make the point. The things that need to be done? Dispassionately, without (any) emotion.

    • Woodchuck September 23, 2023 at 2:02 am #

That’s one way it could go down. Another more fantastic and crazy scenario is we get into a full scale world war with both Russia and China and both countries get totally pissed off at us and with the EU. The EU disintegrates and Western Europe becomes a bunch of balkanized and poverty stricken countries with their own borders and currencies. The German mark, for example, will return. Russia and China defeat the USA militarily and invade this country coming in from both coastlines as well as through Mexico and then take our entire population captive. The people percieved as having been the trouble makers here are taken abroad by the tens of millions to slave labor factories and farms where they will be sterilized and spend the remainder of their lives in slavery. We are disarmed and our entire defense industry is either shipped overseas or destroyed, and things are arranged so that no central government will ever arise on this land again. We’ll be just like Africa or S. America. We’ll be poor just as Africa is, and the land will be occupied by independent nations with controlled borders. If you are – say – a citizen of Texas you’ll need a passport and a visa if you wish to visit someone in Florida. As in Africa, most of our roads will be gravel or dirt and very few people will be driving automobiles.

        @ Woodchuck:

I don’t think Russia has any interest in invading the US. They have plentiful resources and no population pressures. China, on the other hand, has serious population pressure and inadequate resources. For starters, they don’t have enough agricultural land to feed their people. This is one reason that there is so much Chinese involvement in Africa and South America. I would not expect the Chinese to try to take over the US militarily, partly because our leadership is only to happy to sell us out. I can envision the Chinese buying up a lot more US farmland, and also exporting a lot more of their population here. It already appears as if the Chinese are running the country, though I don’t know why they’d want it overrun with people from Mexico, Central and South America, and Africa. The US population, from the Chinese point of view, would be very troublesome to try to rule, even without importing a lot more troublesome people.

The only thing I can figure out is that they figure this problem will be at least partly solved by Balkanization and brushfire wars between different US factions. They would of course have their hand in, for the purpose of getting rid of the really undesirable elements of the population. E.g., I can see how there could be a lot of conflicts between Hispanics and blacks, and–if I were the Chinese–I would assist the Hispanics (discretely, of course–nobody has to know where those arms came from).

It would be really interesting if the Chinese were to bankroll (and otherwise assist) states wishing to secede from the US. This would give them a lot of political power over seceding regions, and would probably also result in large and potentially productive areas with scarcely any blacks. (The blacks would mostly leave on their own, and the Hispanics would probably do more to encourage this than the whites.) This could be a great setup for them: They could covertly control much of the Midwest and Texas, and quietly buy up a lot of the land and quietly settle more and more Chinese there. Fifty years later, they could be openly ruling large areas of the US–with the demographic problems largely solved by stoking and carefully controlling low-level civil wars so as to displace or exterminate undesirables.

Okay, I pulled this scenario out of my ass, but it kind of makes sense.

        • Anthea September 23, 2023 at 7:18 am #

Or, here’s another possibility. A lot current immigration to the US is coming from Venezuela. Maybe the Chinese would like to control Venezuela, but would prefer that there not be many Venezuelans there, so they are shipping them to the US as fast as they can.

If you think about it, the Chinese may already (covertly) control parts of Mexico, through the drug cartels–which, if you think about it, are Chinese employees. They may also consider it desirable to get rid of as much of the Mexican population as possible, by shipping them to the US.

        • Yirgach September 23, 2023 at 8:30 am #

          Anthea,

Nice analysis of a complex situation. I would also add that someone is supplying an enormous amount of drugs (fentanyl and xylazine/tranc). On top of that there are large numbers of infected illegals moving all over the country. Texas has already reported several cases of tuberculosis just in the last week.

All of this adds up to a national nightmare.
The cities will be the first to go.

          • Anthea September 23, 2023 at 1:59 pm #

It’s really just a kind of fantasy, but it does make sense, and it answers some mystifying questions.

Why encourage unchecked immigration. (Somebody is paying for it and has planned it.)

            Why deliberately Balkanize the US?

Why has the US military been gutted? Why are we incapable of producing effective military hardware of all kinds?

Just as an aside, while others here (and on other blogs) report devastating effects from the vax, I have seen almost nothing of that kind here in Flyover Country. This could be partly because not all that many people outside the cities were vaccinated. But I’ve seen almost no cases of ill effects among those who were.

Catherine Austin-Fitts has said that there are huge differences in the components of the vaccinations from region to region–and that she believes that this can only be explained by a very targeted use of the vax to depopulate some areas and not others, or to depopulate them to varying degrees. In other words, it was planned that way.

          • Anthea September 23, 2023 at 3:03 pm #

            Here’s another thought.

Revolutions and secessions have to be funded. The parties that are interested in overthrowing an existing government or seceding normally don’t have the resources and military capability to do this without outside (foreign) assistance.

The reason we haven’t had a patriotic return-to-the-Constitution revolt in the US is because such a movement has no financial backers (who would expect to profit from it). That’s also the reason why we have had no real secession movements. If that’s what China (or Russia, for that matter) wanted, that’s what we would have.

If China wanted Texas and other Flyover areas to secede, they would approach the governors or other promising political or military figures and encourage them to go for it, through some combination of bribes, extortion, or blackmail, along with promises of rulership and power. They would offer to provide all the necessary resources and military equipment–and even manpower. The manpower is ready to hand, in the form of Mexican drug cartels (employees of China). This aid would of course come in the form of loans.

IMHO, that’s the way that stuff works. Thus, it is also my opinion that, in such a case, the best thing to do is take no side and no part in any such conflict–and preferably to get out of Dodge. Nobody is on your side.

        • Woodchuck September 23, 2023 at 8:55 am #

Well, what you’ve written here certainly makes more sense than what I wrote – which I did pull out of my ass by the way. I wrote that more out of frustration and anger than anything else.

        • Woodchuck September 23, 2023 at 8:46 pm #

Well, then how about this? When the far left or the commies take control of a nation what often happens is a breakdown of the former economic system of the victim country. A side effect of the resulting chaos and collapse is as period of famine and mass starvation that kills millions. At the very least you get a severe disruption of the food supply leading people to eat their pets, zoo animals, rats and woodchucks etc. This happened in Russia, China, and recently in Venezuela.

So the utterly incompetent leadership in the USA manage to badly cripple both our food production and food distribution system resulting in a king hell famine threatening the lives of tens of millions of people. A terrible humanitarian crisis occurs in the US and the Russians – having a surplus of food and cash – decided to cut a deal with us. We agree to abolish our federal government and break the nation up into pieces in exchange for food.

Didn’t JHK recently do a Podcast interviewing that Doomsday Apocalypse Preacher who insists that because of human population overshoot that the inevitable, imminent Apocalypse is God’s Will and that God has instructed him “to just sit back, eat the popcorn and enjoy the show”?

I recall that the Preacher said that in exchange for preaching his sermons, people let him and his wife stay in their vacation homes, which allows him and his wife to travel around living a carefree lifestyle on a budget.

The Government Slaughter in Lahaina: Maui Revisited
    by Gary D Barnett

    lewrockwell.com/2023/09/gary-d-barnett/the-government-slaughter-in-lahaina-maui-revisited/

I fully realize, especially considering the nearly complete lack of any ability to think critically by the masses, that what I am presenting here will be ignored by a very large swath of the population. The long-term dumbing down of individuals, and the now digitally-manipulated population, has embraced indifference to such an extent, as to have escaped all reality. In fact, common sense, logic, and reason appear to be nearly non-existent generally speaking. It is much easier for the collective herd to believe the State narratives than to do the work necessary to ferret out fact and truth.

Unfortunately, the ruling class understands this weak and apathetic trait that seems to have captured the very large percentage of dead men walking among us. How much more obvious corruption, lies, and murder at the hands of the State will have to take place before any majority comes to terms with the reality that this world is ending in favor of mass slavery and depopulation? Will the flock ever fight back?

    • BackRowHeckler September 23, 2023 at 7:27 am #

Well, a new ‘Climate Corps’ being set up by the Biden Administration, enlisting enthustiac young people, and under the command of it’s own Climate Commissar.

Expect this Climate Corps to grow into an extra legal organization wielding a great amount of power similar to the Comsomol in the Soviet Union or SA in Germany, the Democratic Party’s own private terror squads of Brownshirts turned loose on the population enforcing a myriad of Climate diktats (how many miles did you drive this month? You have a big house, why aren’t you boarding ‘unhoused migrants’?'”) They will be fanning out thru suburban neighborhoods, dressed in their smart green uniforms looking in windows for Climate transgressions, and checking odometers.

And God help the ordinary Comrade Citizen who complains about it; for example, unreliable electric service including frequent brownouts and blackouts due to all the baseload power plants being shut (replaced by wind turbines) or the astronomical cost of heating ones house in winter. There is no right answer, E. Your guilt had already been determined. Remember the letter you wrote to the Commissar of Renewable Energy mildly complaining about the 6 day blackout that spoiled your groceries and melted your frozen food? What more evidence do they need? Your fate is sealed. The Climate Courts show very little sympathy for enemies of Planet Earth, and friends of Big Oil, Polluters, & useless eaters.

There’s so much BS on the internet that who knows what’s true or not true. Have you seen this one:

If you don’t own a gas mask already, consider getting one.

    Why?

Because according to this report, an event is about to take place across America that could impact you and everyone you know.

This is something the mainstream media has been purposely ignoring.

They’re trying to keep us in the dark because they don’t want to incite widespread hysteria.

However, several sources, including the U.S. Congressional Advisory Board, have stated:

This is a nationwide Code Red-level event that could wipe out 9 out of every 10 people, while leaving the rest of the population in ruins.

What’s worse, senior scientist at Penn State University, Dr. Michael Frankel predicts it could happen at any moment.

Certainly within the next 48 hours.

If you or your loved ones don’t own a gas mask, or the 4 essential items listed on this page, I suggest you watch this presentation, make a list of these items, then drive down to your local hardware store to pick them up.

    Time is of the essence.

This event could unfold in 48 hours or less.

After 9/11, kind of as a gag, my wife & I bought 2 Korean War vintage gas masks at a local Military Surplus store for like $5 apiece. Being 75 years old, and still in their original packaging, I’m not sure if they work.

I think the filters would be the only problem. The rest is mostly rubber. Check them for cracks and brittleness. In any case, under the best of conditions, gas masks are single use items, so you’d need a steady supply of them for any sort prolonged emergency. And for any lethal agent you’re also gonna want a whole suit. Having spent way too much time practicing in those damn things in the USAF, I think I’d rather just take a deep breath and get it over with already if push ever actually came to shove.

    GA,

OG – I didn’t want to say any more about this, so this is annoying.

So you thought that you’d just lay into me in front of our colleagues and expect me not to reply to your scolding me as to how I am to argue with a man-child? And you’re annoyed? Yeesh!

You mistake my motives – deliberately, I’d say, because you do like to shoehorn in a bit of sexism whenever you can, in this case only a step away from fruit pie (which I don’t make, largely because it’s full of sugar).

That is ironic as you misconstrue my motives. I provided sugar instead of what I truly suspect that your real motives were.

BTW, there is a big difference between XX and XY members of all mammals, GA, whether you like that or not. What I say is not sexist. I love women, God bless them. No, what I say is basic science.

You miss every point. One Solo’s argument for his joining the cover-up of obvious mass murder was for him to troll me and call me “crazy” (against my admitted mental health struggles) for weeks.

So, “OK!” [In XY bull-pens (e.g. hockey games), that means, “OK, fella, you have whacked my wrist too hard and now the gloves are coming off.” (When this happens at the professional level of the game, there is a break in the action while two big young bulls settle matters with fisticuffs on ice. These “bouts” are extremely popular with the 20,000 spectators in the arena and millions more watching “live” on a black mirror of some techno format or another.)]

And you are completely missing my point about the Gullibility Litmus Test. First of all, the GLT is scientific as it produces a score (not a “rating”). Secondly, I am not just arguing Lahaina 8/8 while we try to determine that truth.

That is, with these discussions, I have developed a simple, scientific method that displays a perfect correlation of real men and women facing the reality of Satan running our planet (and there are no coincidences) and mental children clinging to their psychological blankies because they cannot face the truth.

Gus is a 1 and all 1s were jabbed. 100%.

So I was done with this little prick who’s been hacking me all game long so I finally dropped my gloves and we settled matters.

And I “presume” nothing. Gus was caught red-handed lying to run cover for TPTB in a mass-murder investigation! Credibility is earned over months and years but lost in a heartbeat.

Gus’ vaxx status, or anyone else’s, is none of your business unless they choose to discuss it with you. The fact that my recollection is that he mentioned not being jabbed is neither here nor there. If he refuses to confirm that he isn’t vaxxed, to make the legitimate point that *he* owes you no such explanation, because who the heck are you anyway to set yourself up as judge and jury, well, good for him.

What a cop-out. When I first landed here, you were always pulling old quotes on the public record from earlier CFNs. Everything said here is on the public record and people constantly “remind” one another of things that they have said in the past. Gus told earth that he was not jabbed. I did not know that but then he couldn’t tell me that because everyone would see that he’s full of sh!t.

And, I could not disagree more as I perform my Sociological research. One’s score on the GLT is a perfect indicator of one’s vaxx decisions and beliefs. I scientifically state that 100% of 1s took a COVID shot or two … or three or four.

Then you thought that you’d come to his defence because, after that little prick whacked me with his stick once too often, the gloves are off and now he’s a deer in the headlights of an on-coming beating. Rag-doll ‘em!

If my known mental health issues were fair game all game long then his lying bullish!t claiming that he believes US propaganda nine times out of ten but somehow smelled a rat when earth went loopy in 2020 and 2021 is fair game, too. And then he shows up to an intellect match barely half-loaded, if that.

Gus is a 1. 1s were double- and triple-masked after being first in line (camping on the sidewalk like it was a new Stars Wars flick) for their free jabaroos. There are no exceptions. 1s are 1s.

Now do you see that a) Gus started his stupid fight but picked the wrong opponent and b) I proved a point about arguing like ladies and gentlemen here on CFN. Ad homs and strawmen were staple arguments made by MQ and Gus. It is infuriating to constantly be the target of their childish bullying while the meat of the matter grows cold on the platter.

Again, you state my motives incorrectly. I am fine with Gus (or anyone) disagreeing with me on any topic but for him to constantly “argue” with “you’re crazy” at his incredulity of the obvious truth is beneath me and is beneath CFN. Gus kept whacking me with his stick so I let ‘im have it like any good hockey player would.

And, again, yes, being a 1 matters. Scoring a 1 on the GLT goes straight to the credibility of one’s thoughts and opinions and this is backed by science.

Personally, what happened to Gus is summed well by Strother Martin as Captain in 1967’s Cool Hand Luke: “What we’ve got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can’t reach. So you get what we had here last week – which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it. And I don’t like it any more than you men.”

    americanrhetoric.com/MovieSpeeches/moviespeechcoolhandluke2.html

All of the above is said entirely without animosity, by the way, lest my own personal troll feel the need to blather about ‘rage’ again. I am just giving you my opinion. I am not the conversation police, and, if you choose to continue your very personal vendetta against Gus and his supposed character, well, then, have at it and I will scroll on by.

Absolutely. 1) I sense no rage in your well thought-out response. 2) Rage gets a bad name. Often rage is used to justify the continued screwing of the man raging at being screwed. Sad but true.

And I have no vendetta against Gus. Our matter has been resolved and he will no longer distract us in our research for the truth.

I will argue with the best of them when required.

The key, of course, to that is “when required.” Gus did it out of glib confidence and never expected to be exposed for what he really is. Our Lord works in mysterious ways and shame on the man who is lying to run cover for mass-murder and child-trafficking (regardless of motive). In fact, it is my understanding that that really displeases Our Lord and that such men had better change their ways lest they spend eternity knowing exactly how adren0chr0me is harvested.

But let there be no confusion as to my motives. My aim is true. I wish Gus well. I hope and pray that he repents.

“Gus is a 1 and all 1s were jabbed. 100%.”

That is a lie, from the get-go. Some people are afraid of needles. Some people have contra-indications, no matter what their opinion is of either vaccinations or ‘vaccinations’, or scary covid viruses. Some people who know nothing about the Kennedys, MLK, 911 or whatever else didn’t trust a new genetic technology.

Not wasting any more of my time.

Your examples of statistically insignificant groupings of people does nothing to logically disprove my scientific assertion that you quote. But, for completeness sake, I thank you for pointing this out and I now restate accordingly:

Gus is a 1 and, statistically, all 1s were jabbed. It rounds to 100%.

You again miss the point (and the scientific correlation that is as plain as the Greek Yogurt that I bought today). We have been instructed to pay attention. Those that have no opinion on JFK or 911 will pay for being lovers of thyself. People without discernment will take the mark.

A 1 refers to Gus’ score on the Gullibility Litmus Test (GLT). The GLT gives anyone ten of the most historically significant events of our lifetimes. The person then counts the ones that they think were really a black op (versus swallowing the official story of bumbling knuckle-headed (but loveable) incompetent boobs).

        GLT:

        JFK
        MLK
        RFK
        USS Liberty
        Waco
        OKC
        911
        Hank Fu(king Paulson
        Boston Marathon

Nobody here would be surprised that I am a 10. They (and many, many more) were all black ops. Truly.

There is the symbolism of the pyramid again. Why is the pyramid everywhere? Almost as if it is one of the oldest symbols or ideas. I heard before that the Sphinx is actually much older than people think it is. Like it could be more than 10 thousand years old.

And if the Good guys won? There would still be a Pyramid – because knowledge and ability are hierarchical. Democracy per se simply does not accord with nature.

And if Christ returns? The Pyramid. He’ll be the Capstone. And he promises us that his close followers will judge nations.

This was framed by the media as criticism of Trump, but it could also be taken as a veiled cry for help, IMO.

Zelensky urges Trump to ‘not waste time’ and share proposal on ending Russian invasion of Ukraine

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky criticised Donald Trump for promising to swiftly end the Russian invasion without offering up many specifics, as the Eastern European leader is in the US for the United Nations General Assembly and a series of meetings in Washington.

“He can publicly share his idea now, not waste time, not to lose people,” Mr Zelensky told CNN on Tuesday.

The Ukrainian president also said he has concerns that Donald Trump’s idea of peace would mean ceding territory to Russia.

Mr Zelensky said if Mr Trump’s proposals including “how to tame part of our territory and how to give it to Putin, that is not a peace formula” or a “global idea of peace.”

The former US president has boasted that he could end the Ukraine war in a matter of days or hours by facilitating negotiations between Mr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin and cutting some kind of deal.

            https://news.yahoo.com/zelensky-urges-trump-not-waste-231322308.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall

They think that everybody doesn’t know by now that Zelensky and Putin were ready to cut a deal a long time ago.

        • BackRowHeckler September 23, 2023 at 7:25 pm #

I can clearly see Zelensky suddenly evacuating Kiev in a Boeing C-47 Globemaster with his family and a few close associates, dufflebags stuffed with cash loaded into the cargo bay, landing at Miami airport to a heroes welcome, greeted by VP Harris, US Senators, Hollywood celebrities, and military brass, then driven by motorcade to his well appointed mansion on Miami Beach, where he gets down to the serious business of hobnobbing with international arms dealers, Cartel chiefs, mafioso kingpins, hedge fund billionaires, movie producers, and secretive Bit Coin operators.

By that time Ukraine will be a smoking ruin and an immense graveyard, and the USA will be wondering WTF happened to the $250 billion it sent over since Feb, 2022.

He has free access to the roughly $200 billion that has been given to Ukraine by the West, so his funds are unlimited. I know much of that aid is in military hardware & credits, but there must be a boatload of cash involved as well.

Then again, President Hildebeast would only postpone the election under the gravest of emergencies…

      • GreenAlba September 23, 2023 at 10:58 pm #

Talking of smart meters, I currently don’t have a gas meter. I have gas – my gas bill went up from £85 to £215/month in the big increase, but on the basis of an estimate. I haven’t had a meter reading in at least a year, maybe much more. I was asked by email to send in a reading and discovered no numbers were showing (it’s in a little box in the ground outside the front window). I’ve spoken to their agents on the phone, sent emails confirming I don’t have a functioning meter (meter reader eventually said the battery was gone).
Then they sent an appointment for installation of a smart meter. There was a phone call to confirm, as I hadn’t responded, and I said I absolutely didn’t want a smart meter, just a normal meter like the one that was dud. The guy said he’d made a note, but no-one turned up on the day and I still have no gas meter. Since they’ve just passed the Energy Act, as I understand it, I presume they’ve waited so that a smart meter will be unavoidable.

I don’t know how it works over your way, but, (as I understand it) according to the Act, the state’s officials can now break down your door, fine you £15k and/or imprison you for a year if you fail to comply with any of its various stipulations, which include having a smart meter. WTAF?

        • stelmosfire September 24, 2023 at 9:05 am #

GA, I don’t know what is considered a “smart ” meter over your way. I received new meters recently. The only thing smart about them is they transmit meter readings over wi/fi to the supplier. Eliminated the human meter readers so that’s jobs lost. They have no ability to control the flow of gas or electric to the consumer. I think some smart meters can actually control who gets power and when. My company does not have those. I know a bunch of G&E guys and we’re not getting those any time soon. I have a city owned G&E (gas and electric). My electric rate just dropped from $.18 to $.16 /kwh . The gas price dropped like a rock. From$1.85/ ccf (therm) to $.25 /ccf. Heating costs will be much lower around here this winter.

          • GreenAlba September 24, 2023 at 11:32 am #

St E – Unfortuntely all our small providers went out of business a year or two ago and their customers were forced to use one of the big six (I think it’s six). It seems to be easier to go local in the US! We never had city providers, although there have been regional ones.

Until I found out my gas meter wasn’t functioning, I didn’t even know smart gas meters were a thing – I thought they were just for electricity. As I understand it, electricity smart meters here allow the company to cut off your supply remotely – for the moment just if you don’t pay your bills, but in future, presumably, as whim or necessity takes them (perhaps also as part of the social credit system?).

I think the guy on the phone referred to a normal meter as a ‘cold’ meter, but maybe I misheard. Anyway, it doesn’t look like I’m going to get one. It’s almost impossible to contact these people and speak to a human being. And they all use subcontractors.

I know that some people are actually made ill by their smart meters and have had them taken out or covered them in some kind of Faraday cage.

Q, look at the Nat Gas futures market. Last Nov. heading into heating season the price was $7.48 Mbtu ( one million Btu’s or 10 therms) Presently the price is $2.64 for the same gas. Our city has a guy that buys contracts and he’s pretty good at buying at good prices. I said pretty good. Back in Sept. 2005 when Katrina roared through the Gulf nat gas prices spiked to an all time high of $14.00 Mbtu. Well the guy panicked and thought there would be no nat gas for us that winter and bought way high. Well the price dropped to $7.00 by Jan-Feb 2006 and we were stuck paying inflated prices for our gas in town. Vlad invades EU gas spikes to $339.00 now it’s $39.00

How does a blob cover its tracks? Poorly!

“The great January 6 journalist Julie Kelly has additionally speculated that the timing of the misdemeanor charge suggests that it could have been specifically intended to allow Epps (and potentially the feds) to avoid the potential disaster of having Epps testify as a witness in the case of another January 6th defendant with whom he interacted. This is precisely what happened in the case of Steve Robeson, one of the many informants who participated in the disgraced Michigan “Fednapping” entrapment plot, who was conveniently slapped with a bogus gun charge just in time to prevent him from testifying in the trials of the other alleged “plotters.”

Yesterday, the government released its meager 14-page “Statement of Offense” for James Ray Epps Sr. (Ray Epps’ full legal name) to accompany Epps’ guilty plea. After reading this document, it is still clearer that the DOJ’s decision to charge Ray Epps is just as disingenuous as Ray Epps’ participation in the events of January 6th.”

I posted above that I wondered if the US was not being deliberately weakened in preparation for at least a partial “conquest” or takeover by a foreign power–which would most likely be China.

    Here’s another thought.

In the former USSR, the collapse was the result of several disastrous policies and ended with party members (who controlled the nation’s assets) selling off the assets for personal gain. I think what we are currently seeing in the US is at least somewhat analogous.

Maybe someone here who is a better student of history can correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t this pretty much the same thing as “corporate raiding”?

My understanding of corporate raiding is a little sketchy, but isn[‘t that where some entity buys a controlling interest in a company, uses that controlling interest to destroy it, and then sells off the assets?

Isn’t this what happened in the former USSR, and what it looks like is happening in the US? In other words–viewing nations as corporations–are events in the US an example of the corporate raiding model operating at a very high level?

    • Disaffected September 24, 2023 at 9:19 am #

Yes, that’s a very good analogy. I’ve thought of it loosely that way before too. Here in the west at least, nation states exist primarily to serve corporate interests. Call it corporate feudalism.

For now. They’re obviously intent on getting rid of them in favor of continental conglomerates that will serve the Global State more directly.

The Unites States is divided up into zones for when the crisis hits. Not States. State government is an obstacle.

Paula’s definition of a nation: A political entity consisting of random assortments of people – is an essential aspect of Marxist conquest. If there is one united People, social capital will tend to be very high and the Revolution won’t be able to succeed.

Obviously, the WEF has a similar outlook on this issue. Why wouldn’t they, since the International Bankers were behind Marxist-Leninism as well?

Good question for Mittens Romney, carpetbagger former MA. Governor, failed Presidential candidate, and now a worthless RINO Senator from Utah.

“where some entity buys a controlling interest in a company, uses that controlling interest to destroy it, and then sells off the assets?”

His outfit Bain Capital was great at that game. Mittens had just the job qualifications to sell out the USA.

          “Trump praised Bain Capital”

A lot of good it did him. Willard “Mittens” Romney stabbed him in the back during the 2nd impeachment. He was my Governor for 4 years and I never knew until just now his name was Willard. Willard, what a name, just like Willard in the 1971 horror movie of the same name. Romney and the rat squad.

Agreed, Anthea. The US loots at home as well as abroad.

It started in the 80s, imo, with leveraged buyouts and hostile takeovers destroying solvent businesses. The first thing they went for in each takeover was the pension fund for the workers, and then the other assets.

In Iraq they went for the gold first, and then the museums and archeological sites.

They looted the gold of the USSR in the 90s, also. That kept things afloat in the US for a while.

In Libya, they went for the gold and the silver that Ghaddafi had saved in order to finance an African dinar.

They are pirates, straight up, just like Sir Francis Drake.

Ukraine has launched a fresh wave of attacks on a Crimean city as they look to take back large swathes of Russian-occupied territory.

Kyiv launched a second missile attack on Sevastopol in occupied Crimea, a Russian-installed official said, a day after an attack on the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet left a serviceman missing and the main building smoldering on Friday.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether the latest strike resulted in any deaths or injuries but in a statement on Saturday, the Ukrainian military said the Black Sea Fleet attack had left “dozens of dead and wounded occupiers, including the top management of the fleet”.

It came as Zelensky angered his Polish neighbours when he told the United Nations General Assembly in New York that Kyiv was working to preserve land routes for grain exports, but that the “political theatre” around imports was only helping Moscow.

More reasons why the US and international corporate elites are all in on the Ukraine fiasco: It’s a money maker for Big Ag.

    httpX://gilbertdoctorow.com/2023/09/22/with-the-acquiescence-of-the-eus-comprador-elites-the-us-is-de-industrializing-europe-next-on-the-agenda-to-destroy-european-agriculture/

    Excerpt:

“…Though he was incensed, Morawiecki nonetheless did watch his words, because he omitted saying that the Ukrainian grain being exported is also substantially produced by American agricultural behemoths who now own about 28% of the farmland in Ukraine and are raising their stakes all the time.

It would be fair to say that the whole scandal over Ukrainian exports of grain via its EU neighbors is not that the grain does not end up in the ports of the world’s neediest countries, it is that the beneficiaries of the exports are US corporations and Ukrainian crooks, not the Ukrainian people and its small holding farmers in particular. The main losers are the farmers of small, medium and large holdings in the EU, who cannot compete on price with the Ukrainians both because of the natural advantages of their ‘black earth’ lands, the most fertile in Europe, and because of the industrial scale that has been introduced in Ukraine by the new corporate owners, domestic and foreign.

In the midst of the dispute over Ukrainian grain, Western media have picked up tidbits of information about other Ukrainian agricultural commodities that have raised heckles among EU farmers. The longest list probably has been compiled by Hungary, which seeks to ban virtually all produce from Ukraine. For their part, Bulgaria and Romania have complained over cheap Ukrainian honey.

And yet the complaints over predatory pricing of Ukrainian farm products have come from as far west as France, where the main issue is Ukrainian poultry meat, priced at less than half producer costs in France. In part, this is due to the same cheap grain issue, since chickens are walking sacks of grain: two kilograms of wheat give you one kilogram of broiler chickens. But the additional driver of Ukrainian export prices is scale of production. French television recently brought out the fact that the biggest exporter of poultry meat to France that is being purchased by the school lunch programs as well as by major retail grocery chains is a Ukrainian complex that raises one million chickens at a time and has vertical integration from the grain inputs, to the hatcheries, to the slaughter and chilled packaging of eviscerated chickens. By contrast, the average chicken farmer in France keeps just 50,000 birds. It would be interesting to know who exactly owns that industrial-scale chicken complex in Ukraine.”

Remember what US Big Ag did to corn producers in Mexico?

I bet Gates is licking his chops over getting control of Frenchland. Except that, I think fthat French terrain does not include large Plains and steppe areas. France is quite mountainous. But Big Ag has gotten control over a lot of English farmland and farms.

    It stinks.

The Ukraine project is not the only one designed to destroy Russia and break it into parts, so that they may be more easily looted again.

If Ukraine runs out of Ukrainians, the US will move onto pushing more Poles into the fight. As Haley, Biden, Milley, Austin, Graham, et. al., have said, they don’t care how many people die, as long as Russians are also dying.

But they are also stirring up trouble in Georgia, Armenia, and the Stans.

They never stop their evil plans. MitchC admires them for their dogged ruthlessness, but I don’t.

I kinda have mixed feelings about it. I mean, dogged ruthlessness isn’t always bad. It’s true. I don’t want to do the dirty work. But the problem it seems is what that ruthlessness is in pursuit of. I don’t like the Western agenda and plan as it is now. So Russia is better. But if it were different I might feel differently.

Bo went up to Connecticut last Thursday to a gathering of some Artsy group of which she is a member. This will be a well-deserved four day break from her incorrigible brother, Peter, leaving me in charge of his care and feeding.

Bo advised me to warm up some leftover soup and do it earlier than our usual eating time because otherwise Peter might get hungry and come down from the third floor and start aimlessly foraging thru the fridge, peeling slices of lunch meat and cheese from their packaging and consuming them on the spot in a standing position without the benefit of sandwich bread and/or glomming (sp?) stuff from the cabinets and eating whatever comes to hand and thus “spoiling his dinner.”

So I went down to the kitchen at 6:05 pm but Peter had beaten me to the punch. He was sitting there with two cups in front of him. One contained a remnant of his favorite drink – chocolate milk – and the other, dry cereal. What he does is reach into the cereal box with his bare hand and take out fistfuls (or should I say fistsful) of cereal and put them in a cup to be eaten dry.

I know this is what happened because there were cereal flakes all over the counter and floor that I inadvertently stepped on and crushed. I asked “what brings you down here at this early hour? Now you’re not going to eat the dinner food I’m about to give you.”

With a poker-faced blank stare, that told me he had no idea what I was talking about, he excused himself from the table to go back up to his room.

I’ll tell ya, it’s freaking infuriating.

    Anglin anent Brand

    Well.

    This was predictable.

    The Guardian:

A number of large companies have pulled their advertisements from the video platform Rumble, where Russell Brand broadcasts his weekly show, in the week since allegations of rape and sexual assault against the comedian came to light.

The News Movement reported on Friday that Burger King, Asos, the Barbican and HelloFresh, the recipe box delivery service, had removed their ads. Brand has 1.4m followers on the platform. YouTube suspended Brand’s ability to earn money on its platform on Tuesday but Rumble has rejected calls to do the same. On Friday, Brand said the moves to block him from receiving advertising revenue for his videos on social media platforms have occurred “in the context of the online safety bill”.

I haven’t looked into it yet, but this “online safety bill” looks very, very bad

On Thursday, Rumble accused a parliamentary committee of “deeply inappropriate” behaviour after Caroline Dinenage, the Conservative chair of the culture, media and sport committee, wrote a letter to the company’s chief executive, Chris Pavlovski, to express concern that Brand “may be able to profit from his content on the platform”.

In a public statement posted on X, Rumble called the letter “disturbing” and said parliament’s demands were “deeply inappropriate and dangerous”. The platform added that it was devoted to an internet “where no one arbitrarily dictates which ideas can or cannot be heard, or which citizens may or may not be entitled to a platform”.

Rumble added: “Singling out an individual and demanding his ban is even more disturbing given the absence of any connection between the allegations and his content on Rumble.”

    Rumble’s response

Last weekend, Brand was accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse between 2006 and 2013 after a joint investigation by the Sunday Times, the Times and Channel 4 Dispatches. He denies the allegations.

On Friday, Brand made his first public comments since the allegations were made public in a new video he posted online. In the three-minute video posted on YouTube, Rumble and X, he described them as “extraordinary and distressing” and accused the government of seeking to censor him.

Burger King told the News Movement it had paused all advertising while investigations into the allegations were ongoing. Asos said it had manually removed its ads from Rumble. Barbican said it had asked its media agency to exclude the site from where its ads appear.

The Times estimates that Brand earns £27,000 a month from his Rumble channel and £1m a year from YouTube before ads were suspended. His literary agent, tour promoter and book publisher have also dropped him.

    So, just to be clear:

Russell Brand was accused of raping his own girlfriends 10-20 years ago.
    (No pause)
    Police announce an investigation.
The UK parliament (and the Prime Minister’s spokesman!!) start issuing all these statements.
The UK government demanded that all tech companies stop his funding.
The media demanded that advertisers boycott the companies that won’t stop his funding.
This all happened in a period of hours, rather than weeks.

You remember with Weinstein, it was like, they release this article, they start doing interviews with the women, there is all this media coverage for weeks on end drumming up public outrage, he eventually resigns, then after months, the cops start saying they’re looking into something to charge him with. Eventually, he’s charged.

With Russell Brand, it is just bing-bang-boom – you’re out.

This idea of cutting someone’s money because he was accused of something totally unrelated to his work in a media article is totally new. I thought I had seen every possible weird form of censorship, but this is new. It’s almost like someone sat down and said “okay, let’s drum up some new weird storyline for censorship.”

The fact that they immediately go to deplatform him over this rape hoax proves that the rape hoax is political, doesn’t it? I mean – right?

How is Google able to determine that Russell Brand committed felonies? Where is the court? I don’t think the court would be fair, but YouTube is saying “this violates our off-platform behavior rules.” It’s against off-platform behavior rules (which is itself an insane concept) to be accused of something by anonymous people?

He’s back on Rumble tomorrow. I assume he’ll do the whole show about this issue.

It’s likely that this is how they’re going to go for the Rumble app on the iPhone app store – “you didn’t ban that guy that got accused of doing something decades ago – this is totally unacceptable behavior for a trust-building environment.”

Jarek: This is what you get if you allow Capitalists or Communists to control everything. Communist Russia and Communist China never had any free speech. China, now largely “Capitalist” doesn’t have free speech either – even though actually Nationalist Socialist in the deeper, political sense. How much free speech does Fascist Russia have?

Alas, it seems that free speech was just a glitch or filler between the end of Theocratic Monarchy and the rise of Economic Tyranny. The new powers encouraged it as a way to criticize and end the old order. Why would they give their opponents the same chance?

And my heroes are much the same, rightly (perhaps) emphasizing the absolute stupidity of the average person. But I agree that something valuable is lost with the loss of free speech. Is the gain of sensible speech (Fascist or National Socialist) worth the loss of individual contribution? Sometimes people might have something valuable to say even in a sane system.

And too the average person is really dumb because of the lack of investment and also misinvestment in a proper educational environment. Many people are ignorant in regards to very important matters and yet they can and do vote. This is a weakness of democracy. It doesn’t mean that democracy should be ended or can’t work. But it can’t work with such a large mass of uneducated or uninformed people.

Many people can’t be educated cuz they dumb. Genetics is the most of IQ.

Many others can’t be educated because they don’t care, even the ones with the requisite IQ. They’ll use if for Dungeons and Dragons or for their careers instead.

Add up many(1) and many(2) and you have most.

It seems to be such a dim view. Rates of literacy have increased around the world very significantly in the last 50 years for example. Increased literacy doesn’t mean necessarily that better decisions are being made but probably they are more informed overall. I also wonder too if there is any relationship between common sense and IQ or if they can be divergent?

Does ‘sensible’ Fascist or National Socialist speech include Goebbelsian speech and assertions that ordinary Jewish people are a health risk and should be er …’quarantined’?

Does it also include snitching on your parents to the Nazi authorities, via your school teacher? Is that ‘sensible’ speech?

I have just seen something I don’t recall EVER seeing before. The Steelers have a Black punter.

    • SoftStarLight September 25, 2023 at 12:27 am #

Why do you find this to be surprising or noteworthy, Q?

      • Disaffected September 25, 2023 at 9:18 am #

It’s rare, presumably because blacks are generally better athletes and rarely settle for kicking positions, which usually fall to decidedly non-athletic whites or Hispanics who would otherwise have no business playing football.

Reggie Roby from a few years back is a notable exception, Q. Big, athletic, and one helluva punter.
