Who Turned Off the Gaslight?

Things were bad, and they knew things were bad, and they knew others must also know things were bad, and yet they would need to pretend, outwardly, that things were fine. The president was fine. The election would be fine. —Olivia Nuzzi, NY Magazine

There’s a reason that the fable of The Emperor’s New Clothes is so potent: it describes a mentally ill society that retreats into abject unreality, to avoid contending with truth. Alas, this archetypal human quandary shoves such a society towards nemesis: downfall and punishment. And that is exactly the consequence of our news media’s craven, dishonorable, degenerate behavior the past decade.

They have disordered our nation’s consensus about reality with peremptory lying about everything, in service to a political party that lies to its citizens about everything. The big question is: who or what recruited them into serving the Party of Chaos, and why did they go along?

You can explain the media’s initial repugnance to Donald Trump going back to his 2015 debut in politics. Much about him had a low-class odor, despite all the gold-plating — his origins in tawdry Queens, his career as a builder in Manhattan where the trades are mob-controlled, the Atlantic City casino debacle, bankruptcy, ditching Ivana and his mid-life playboy reputation, the tacky TV show, the increasingly mystifying hair-doo, his rough, jumbly manner of speech. Everything about him repelled the Ivy Leaguers who increasingly filled the ranks of national-level journalism.

Despite all that, Mr. Trump raised five kids successfully. The grown ones had careers and they all visibly loved him. With that and his overt masculinity, he assumed the lineaments of the archetypal Daddy, which enflamed the enormous cohort of feminists who had taken over the Democratic Party behind their avatar Hillary Clinton. And when he squeaked out an electoral victory over her in 2016, they were sure it was a cheat. The menace of Daddy in da (White) house pushed them over the edge psychologically.

Daddy was all about setting boundaries, which was the antithesis to the “progressive” (and transgressive) agenda of the Dems, and was probably the reason that his talk of “building the wall” along the Mexican border drove them nuts. It signaled patriarchal control of a whole lot of other things, too. Boundaries galore!

Now, it happened that the Democratic Party was also the favored party of the DC permanent bureaucracy, which had been growing and growing for decades and had become overtly politicized during the eight years of Barack Obama. Mr. Trump threatened to downsize this leviathan government, meaning many patronage jobs might be lost. (Boundaries would be imposed!) The warrior branch of this Deep State was the Intel community. The FBI, the DOJ, the CIA, the State Dept, and elements of the military were commissioned by the Democratic Party to destroy Mr. Trump.

They used the machinery of the law to lay one trip after another on the president and effectively hog-tied him — RussiaGate, the Ukraine phone call impeachment, the George Floyd anarchy — and when those operations failed to oust him, they ran the Covid-19 caper (with enormous collateral damage to the people and their economy), which enabled rigging the 2020 election with mail-in ballots. Once Mr. Trump was squeezed out-of-office, the FBI turned the J-6 protest at the Capitol into a riot, which Nancy Pelosi then converted into an “insurrection” using the House J-6 committee. The J-6 incident, they dearly hoped, would rid them of Mr. Trump once and for all.

The news media went along with every bit of that, year after year, converting each mendacious act of the party and the bureaucracy into consumable narrative, and lying either overtly about all the ops, or just omitting to report on the dark truth behind it all. Any reality-based thread that happened to leak into public view from independent alt-news reporters was branded by CNN, The New York Times, the WashPo, and many others as “misinformation” — a newish concept produced by a cadre of language Stasi skilled at inverting the meaning of anything to bamboozle the public. It appears that the news media became so invested psychologically in its own dishonest product that it began to believe its own bullshit.

Or, at least, they wanted to pretend to believe it. One of the big problems was that absolutely everything they labeled “misinformation” or “conspiracy theory” turned out to be truthful, and that was becoming an inescapable embarrassment. And then the biggest blunder they made was going along with the Deep State’s selection of “Joe Biden” in the very sketchy Super Tuesday primary of 2020. The old grifter had next-to-zero support in all the preceding preliminaries and somehow (abracadabra !) he swept the field.

By then, the Democratic Party, and its public relations arm in the mainstream media, had descended into florid mental illness. Everything they stood for post-World War Two flipped to its opposite. Suddenly, they were against free speech. They weren’t coy about it. They just made-up some new bullshit about free speech being “hate speech.” Similarly, they were against a free press. They went along with all the misinfo / disinfo bullshit the government cooked up and supported its role in suppressing the news. They were no longer anti-war, the party-of-peace. They were now pro-segregation and pro-discrimination (white people need not apply) according to Critical Race Theory (a childishly sketchy doctrine). Most of all, they were no longer skeptical of anything that the leviathan establishment wanted to do, including abridging the liberties of American citizens.

Then there was the campaign to use the most powerful human instinct, sexuality, as a weapon to disorder the minds of American children, leading even to the mutilation of their bodies — a program that unmistakably tipped toward genuine evil, suggesting that actual psychosis lay behind the Cluster-B crypto-Marxism used to justify it.

“Joe Biden” was fine with all of that, and the news media was fine with “Joe Biden” and whoever was using him as a front. Of course, it was evident during the 2020 campaign that “Joe Biden” was not up to a job as demanding as Chief Executive of the US government — and that was even apart from the dense criminal web of influence peddling discovered around him and his family, which the news media ignominiously ignored. But now the years have gone by and there’s no hiding “Joe Biden’s” rather gravely diminished mental abilities.

Last week’s debate gave away the game. It had the effect of finally turning off the gaslight that the news media has been shining over the republic lo these many years. They can no longer pretend that this president is anything close to okay in body and mind. They can’t annul the gaslighted public’s delayed realization that they’ve been subject to a concerted program of deliberate lying for a long long time.

So now, inveterate pretenders and liars, such as Jake Tapper of CNN and Maggie Haberman of The New York Times — and many others — have to pretend that they were innocently duped into supporting all the turpitudes of the Democratic Party / Deep State axis-of-evil. It is really hard to imagine that they can successfully rehabilitate their reputations. They have done immense harm to our country. It’s hard to see how the Democratic Party might survive, too, no matter who they finally put up for election this year. Of course, there’s still plenty of time left for them to destroy the country altogether. Just keep giving American missiles to Ukraine to fire into Russia and see what happens.

Why is it that when something bad happens, like a watermain break in Canada’s third-largest city that deprives 1.4 million residents of drinking water for a month, the Left is behind it. I know it’s only one example but there’s a lot of examples where left-leaning politicians have allowed the forces of entropy and anomie to triumph. Are they stupid, mendacious or willfully negligent?

This is how a real bastard like Mussolini gets his foot in the door: the incompetence of the left. (Take Chrystia Freeland, for example: domestic infrastructure crumbling, but she arranges a billion of taxpayer money be shoveled off to her native Ukraine instead to be blown to smithereens.) Throughout Europe, for years they were saying of Mussolini, “He made the trains run on time.”

“a mentally ill society that retreats into abject unreality, to avoid contending with truth.”

This sums up the mis-/dis-information campaign that makes up our mainstream media (and polls! Let’s not forget polls). Truth becomes subjective, meaning it is no longer truth but fantasy. Nothing exemplifies this better than confusion over gender, viz. Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Rigging the pre-election polls is critical to making the doctored election results believable.

I listened to an online commentator describe the situation with that beach full of children turned warzone.

If, as has happened, a 6 year old takes his parents handgun to school and shoots a teacher, it isn’t the 6 year old that is going to prison.

The 6 year old didn’t purchase the firearm. The 6 year old didn’t buy the ammunition and load the firearm. The 6 year old didn’t leave the firearm unsecured. Oh no, the parents did all of that and the courts will punish the parents for doing so and the courts will see it as if it were the parents that pulled the trigger in the classroom.

Well, the Russians know that the Ukrainians didn’t build that weapon, load that weapon, or even know how to operate that weapon. Those weapons are tied into our satellite GPS networks.

The Russians are correct when they proclaim that a state of war exists between our two countries. They’ve also said that they have a mandate to retaliate in any way that they deem fit.

Why isn’t that on the news? Oh, because we were shown two old men arguing about golf.

    • benr July 5, 2024 at 10:11 am #

      Indeed, WW3 is here folks.
North Korea and its mutual aid pact with Russia are now sending troops and supplies to Ukraine.
China has several large ships now fucking with the Philippines and are actively prepping for war with the US and Taiwan.

The carrier group that was patrolling that area was sent off to the middle east pressure cooker and another one is being sent out to be on station soonish.

If you have an abandoned old mine somewhere near you, I suggest loading it out with supplies books, water, food, some form of lighting and a way to protect it as well as reinforce the entrance.
Thinking it is going to be a really rough ride.

Decent article but they missed a few things.

The U.S. aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt and its escorts are racing from Asia to the Middle East, leaving a rare carrier gap in the Western Pacific region where it hopes to counter China’s expanding military footprint.

The Roosevelt recently participated in the Freedom Edge exercise alongside U.S. treaty allies Japan and South Korea, much to the chagrin of Kim Jong Un’s North. The East China Sea drills from June 27-29 were its final maneuvers in the region for some time.

Aerial imagery captured on Wednesday by the European Space Agency’s Sentinel-2A Earth observation satellite showed the Nimitz-class supercarrier steaming into the South China Sea via the Luzon Strait, a strategic waterway linking the contested trade waters to the Philippine Sea.

Its movements were tracked by the Beijing-based SCSPI think tank, creating a rare instance of an American carrier group sharing maritime space with a naval formulation led by one of China’s own aircraft carriers.

Images released by the Pentagon showed the Roosevelt was last in the South China Sea on June 13. The ship departed San Diego in January and mostly patrolled the Western Pacific during its deployment.

Its presence in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, which covers the Middle East as well as parts of North Africa and Central Asia, would be replaced by the Roosevelt carrier strike group.

With the Roosevelt leaving the Indo-Pacific region, its sister ship the USS Ronald Reagan also is no longer in the Western Pacific, part of the U.S. Seventh Fleet’s area of responsibility.

US Carrier Sails in Pacific Ocean
The U.S. Navy cruiser USS Robert Smalls, left, breaks away from the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan following refueling at sea in the Pacific Ocean on July 1. MASS COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST 2ND CLASS ANGE OLIVIER CLEMENT/U.S. NAVY
USNI News, run by the U.S. Naval Institute, reported on Monday that the Reagan was underway in the U.S. Third Fleet’s area of operations in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, having previously departed the U.S. naval base in Yokosuka, Japan, for the last time in May.

This summer, the Reagan is scheduled to conduct a carrier swap in California with the Nimitz-class USS George Washington. The Washington, which is currently operating in waters off the western coast of South America, will take over as the only forward-deployed aircraft carrier in Japan.

Before the Washington arrives at the Seventh Fleet headquarters, however, no American aircraft carrier will be available to support crises or respond to contingencies in the Western Pacific, a stated priority at the Pentagon.

“We are confident in our current force posture and operations in the region to ensure peace and stability and to meet our national security commitments,” a U.S. State Department spokesperson told Newsweek in May in response to a related query.

The Roosevelt will stay on station in the Red Sea until its U.S. East Coast-based sister ship the USS Harry S. Truman deploys later this summer, according to USNI News.

        • Groundhog July 5, 2024 at 1:11 pm #

““We are confident in our current force posture and operations in the region to ensure peace and stability and to meet our national security commitments,” a U.S. State Department spokesperson told Newsweek in May in response to a related query.”

The state dept spokesperson is confused. Aircraft carriers are obsolete. Unfortunately, the only way the US will be able to figure this out will be after a bunch of US aircraft carriers are sitting on the ocean bottom with many thousands of lives lost.

Hypersonic missiles with precision guidance systems backing them up can overcome carrier air defense systems. Russia has very impressive medium range and long range mach 2 bombers that can now deliver the latest hypersonic missiles with either conventional or tactical nuke warheads on them. Check out the latest versions of the TU-22M (backfire bomber) and the TU-160 (white swan or blackjack bomber). The TU-22M was originally designed to be a battleship killer, and it is still very effective in that role. It’s every bit a match for the B1 bomber. The TU-160 can carry more payload than a B-52 and it flies over twice as fast at a little over mach 2. The Russians used it successfully in Syria. The Chinese don’t seem interested in building aircraft carriers because they know those ships are sitting ducks because of advances in missile technology.

          • Yirgach July 5, 2024 at 2:23 pm #

It’s important to note that at hypersonic speeds (Mach 5+) the warhead mass is instantly converted to energy on impact. If your target is small, like a carrier, there is no need to waste a nuke on it.

Hypersonic weapons are the modern version of a neutron bomb.

          • ezinmn July 5, 2024 at 3:06 pm #

The next war could get ugly real fast. I’d like to think the US has it’s best minds working around the clock on defensive and offensive military equipment, but not optimistic. I think there will come a day when the US will need to ally with Russia to confront an aggressive China. Maybe sooner than expected.

          • Groundhog July 5, 2024 at 4:23 pm #

Here ya go, the title of this you tube video is

“Tu-22M3 Backfire : The Russian bomber that could sink a Navy aircraft carrier”

            from Military TV channel

            h t t p s://youtu.be/Gord8DxCGGs

          • benr July 6, 2024 at 10:28 am #

As of late we all keep hearing about hypersonic missiles this and that but I suspect they at the moment are more vaporware than reality.
Next on the list is Russian guidance systems being substandard and not really working as expected.
Russia’s devastating glide bombs keep falling on its own territory
Internal Russian documents show how often its glide bombs hit its own territory, likely due to faulty guidance systems, say experts.
This coupled with the shitshow of an offensive in which the tires on their vehicles all came apart leaving a massive convoy stranded shows they are poorly maintained as well as trained. Too much vodka for lunch I guess.

Last on the list is the speed of a carrier they absolutely fuck off.
When I was stationed on a fast frigate we could make around 32 knots which is roughly 36 mph.
We were going full bore and one of the aircraft carriers zoomed by us like we were standing still.
They are so fast I believe the top speed is actually classified and they obfuscate the top speed for good measure..
US Navy nuclear-powered aircraft carriers can outrun virtually every surface ship in most sea states. The rougher it is, the more they will be able to outdistance other watercraft.
US Navy aircraft carriers continue to be the centerpiece of the forces necessary for operating forward. In times of crisis, the first question leaders ask is: “Where are the carriers?”

Aircraft carriers are the most adaptable and survivable airfields in the world. On any given day, Sailors aboard an aircraft carrier and its air wing come to the fight trained and equipped across a full range of missions. They are ready to control the sea, conduct strikes, and maneuver across the electromagnetic spectrum and cyberspace. No other naval force fields a commensurate range and depth of combat capabilities.

US Navy aircraft carriers also move fast. According to Forbes ‘Fast enough, in fact, to outrun most submarines. Because they can sustain speeds of 35 miles per hour, the Nimitz-class carriers populating the current fleet can move to anywhere within a 700-square mile area within 30 minutes. After 90 minutes, that area grows to over 6,000 square miles. So, finding a carrier isn’t the same thing for enemies as successfully targeting it. By the time their weapons arrive, it will likely be gone.’

James O’Shea, BS Electrical Engineering & History, explains on Quora:

‘Due to their size and engine power American nuclear-powered aircraft carriers can outrun virtually every surface ship in most sea states. The rougher it is, the more they will be able to outdistance other watercraft. There are watercraft which can go faster than carriers, in good weather. In bad weather carriers will outrun almost everything afloat. An antisubmarine frigate can’t possibly keep up. A destroyer would have a better chance, but still would have problems. Since the old CALIFORNIA class nuclear cruisers were decommissioned, no American cruiser can keep up with a carrier. The Russian KIROV class battlecruisers might be able to stay with a carrier, maybe, but not for long, especially in bad weather.

‘Note that if you look up the official top speed of American carriers, you’ll see mealy-mouthed phrases like “in excess of 30 knots” as the Navy doesn’t want to say. USS KITTY HAWK once made a sprint in which she averaged 42 knots by simple math. USS ENTERPRISE (CVN-65) allegedly once hit 50 knots. Allegedly. The Navy refuses to say. CVN-65 is now decommissioned and will be replaced by a GERALD R. FORD class carrier, CVN-80, which is, allegedly, faster than CVN-65.’

            O’Shea concludes;

‘The only surface warships which could sustain speeds close to or superior to those of an American nuclear-powered carrier would be the various fast minelayers of the WWII era, such as the British ABDIEL or MANXMAN, both of which could exceed 44 knots. Very large transatlantic liners such as QUEEN MARY could also go very fast, for much the same reasons as the carriers. QUEEN MARY once rammed and cut in two a cruiser without slowing down.’

          • Yirgach July 6, 2024 at 12:56 pm #

So the mighty carriers can run at 35 knots. Wow.
The SR-72 (Darkstar) Mach 5 is 3200 knots or 100 times faster and will be in service by 2025.

Current hypersonics are being designed on 20 Mach test beds.

In an all out war the carrier fleets wouldn’t last more than 15 minutes. It’s the missile subs which have the current advantage.

          • benr July 6, 2024 at 1:21 pm #

They go much faster and the point being hitting a stationary target is pretty hard but a moving target capable of doing 40+ miles an hour while traveling at Mach 4+ with faulty control and targeting circuits.
Combine that with effective deterrent systems and the simple fact a full carrier battle group has many targets that emulate carriers electronically.
Each ship in the carrier group has at least two cwis guns, electronic jamming and various counter measures and the fact it is really not that easy to sink a carrier or any modern American naval vessel.

The armchair anti-American people that have never even stepped foot on an American war vessel have zero clue.
Simply put it’s not that easy to target, hit and then sink.
Add in that one aircraft carrier has as many jets and support craft as many countries.

          • benr July 6, 2024 at 1:25 pm #

Mach 20 roughly 13,000mph test beds just the normal particulate in the air will peal the skin off any missile at that speed fairly fast and the heat generated means this craft won’t last long.
I again say these hypersonic weapons platforms are vaporware with current technology.
Getting them to go that fast is one thing and then hitting anything with them is another.

          • Yirgach July 6, 2024 at 4:31 pm #

Yes, I agree with much of what you have said, however there has been a great deal of development in real time control systems using GPS. We’ve all seen the drone targeting videos.
They really have solved the hypersonic speed problems up to Mach 20.

The cat is out of the bag as they say, let’s not ignore technology when it can come back and bite you in the ass.

Hmmm. Don’t do the same thing that the dinosaur media does. The “golf thing” happened at the very end of the debate; it was hardly a major theme. And, it was Biden – bizarrely – who raised it. Trump, being human, had to laugh at the thought of Biden with a 6 handicap. And, Trump – after a few seconds of the nonsense – specifically said “let’s not be childish here.” They were hardly in the same boat as “two old men arguing about golf.”

The media does this – acts as if somehow the two are just the same, to pretend our choices are between two old demented men. Trump looks and acts as if he is 30 years younger than Biden. They are not even in the same universe of age mentally or physically. And, frankly, Biden was widely known as one of the dumbest people in DC (an unbelievably low threshold) before he went senile, with not one real job or accomplishment to his name. Good point, well made. There is no equivalence whatsoever between Trump and Biden. It’s day vs. night. Good vs. evil, God vs. Satan. it’s that stark.

Now, the brain-soiled will say I’m raising Trump to God status or worshiping him. No such thing. He’s a fallible human stand-in for God’s mercy and the truth, which alone can take us forward to better things. Biden stands for all that brings destruction and that makes things worse.

It’s not on the news because the US public continues to be gas-lighted.

And in many ways, it is easier now. “News” has always been infotainment; not it is more than ever, superimposed on the “real-time”, on-line media environment, making it easier to mix video, graphics, sound bites, tweet with actual events, to spice up what sells–and what the PTB want the masses to see.

Israel’s war on Gaza, and the concomitant carnage seems to have evaporated from the mainstream media web-sites (as well as other stories of import, such as constantly escalating US provocations against Russia, and what may or will result from that, as you note, and the fictitious official figures on inflation and unemployment),

And of course, the mainstream media, and much of the alternate media never discusses the degree of control the Israeli Lobby holds over the US government. Never. America loves Israel just because–nothing to do with the massive lobbying under the table. Nothing to see here…

Besides death and taxes, in the US, the third definite is that no matter wha may happen (including an attack on the US itself), the last coherent acts of any US government before it collapses or implodes will be to send Israel weapons for free, and to diplomatically veto anything critical of Israel. Both parties, all the time.

One could say that gaslighting the public about Biden was warm-up for gaslighting the biggest genocide of the 21st century.

Every drop of blood shed in Gaza is on the heads of Hamas and its supporters and enablers, which Soc has amply identified himself as with his obsessed upside down view of the genocidal aims of Islamic jihad. He is a Muslim after Muhammad’s own heart, if not in practice.

        • Socrates-Detroit July 5, 2024 at 12:02 pm #

          @Jonathan Pollard, aka Uncle Abraham

The reality is, the Israeli government’s goal is to ethnically cleanse Gaza first, and the West Bank later.

Why can’t you just be honest and acknowledge that? Many Israeli officials have said as much.

ISRAELI data shows that over half the Israelis killed on Oct 07 were soldier or police. Armed occupiers. Legitimate targets.

Why don’t you tell us how “equal” to Israelis all these ungrateful Palestinians are? They vote, they are free to come and go as they please, goods and services can flow freely from Gaza to the rest of the world–isn’t that right? Tell us!

What’s the IDF’s record in Gaza? Tell us.

agreed Uncle Abraham – and it’s ironic because the “Palestinians” are not regarded by their middle eastern neighbors as true Muslims but instead Romanov Gypsies.

Squatters who claim Israel came into existence with the Balfour Declaration in 1917.

They pick a fight by kidnapping, raping and murdering and demanding a cease-fire before they’ve even finished running for cover. They are publicly and openly dedicated to the destruction of Israel and claim that Israel is committing genocide when Israel fights back. They even get their Detroit correspondents to echo that sentiment in public internet forums.

            Israel is a people.

They were scattered across the globe in an event known as the Diaspora.

Many of the people of Israel returned to the patch of land in the middle east known as Israel because it is indeed the holy land.

People calling themselves Palestinian claimed the land, including Jerusalem as their own.

They claim Israel has no right to exist and are dedicated to the destruction of Israel.

These Palestinians attack innocent Israelis and immediately demand a cease fire as they run away with kidnapped Israeli women.

Palestinians hijack internet forums that have nothing to do with the middle east and bitch about genocide because Israel had the temerity to fight back.

            Uprooting War

“Everything that Palestinians do against the state of Israel and Israeli settlers, they do in a context of self-defense. They do it in a context of survival.

            The historical context:

Israel was founded in 1948 in the Nakba, an organized act of ethnic cleansing that stole 78% of Palestinian lands, forced 750,000 people out of their homes (mostly Muslim Arabs but also many Christians and Musta’arabim or Palestinian Jews), and killed at least 15,000 and possibly many more. Even if one were able to forgive and accept the atrocities of 1948, in the last half century Israel has turned Gaza into an open air refugee camp while continuing to steal more Palestinian lands in the West Bank. Many of the half a million illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank are organized into highly armed paramilitary groups, on average they are extremely racist, and they kill a large number of Palestinians every year. (In 2023, by mid-September, it’s estimated that Israeli settlers or soldiers working in concert with settlers had killed 189 Palestinians in their own homes in the West Bank, and wounded 8,192.) Settlers also systematically destroy Palestinian fields and olive orchards, deliberately trying to undermine their ability to feed themselves.

In 6 months, the Israeli war on Gaza has killed 33,600 Palestinians and wounded over 76,200, while pushing a million into conditions of starvation. The vast majority of the killed and wounded have been noncombatants. However, I don’t want to overemphasize the fact that most of the dead and wounded are unarmed civilians. Palestinians in Gaza and in the West Bank have every ethical right to shoot back at Israeli invaders.” ~ Peter Gelderloos: ‘Israel is pioneering new methods of genocide: Killing by algorithm’

“In October 2023, in the context of the 2023 Israel–Hamas war, she [Naomi Klein] wrote:

For Zionist believers (I’m not one of them), Jew hatred is the central rationale for why Israel must exist as a nuclear-armed fortress. Within this worldview, antisemitism is cast as a primordial force that cannot be weakened or confronted. The world will always turn away from us in our hour of need, Zionism tells us, just as it did during the Holocaust, which is why force alone is presented as the only conceivable response to any and all threats. The Israeli state’s current murderous leveling of Gaza is the latest, unspeakably horrific manifestation of this ideology, and there will be more in the coming days.

At a ‘Seder in the Streets’ event April 23, 2024, held near Senator Chuck Schummer’s residence, Klein spoke about the contemporary meaning of Passover and its relation to the war. Using The Exodus story of Israelites worshipping the golden calf as an idol, she drew parallels to what she called ‘the false idol of Zionism.’ She said ‘It is a false idol that takes our most profound biblical stories of justice and emancipation from slavery, the story of Passover itself, and turns them into brutalist weapons of colonial land theft, roadmaps for ethnic cleansing and genocide.” ~ Wikipedia, entry, Naomi Klein

“Many people’s thinking is permeated by state perspectives. One manifestation of this is the unstated identification of states or governments with the people in a country which is embodied in the words ‘we’ or ‘us.’ ‘We must negotiate sound disarmament treaties.’ ‘We must renounce first use of nuclear weapons.’ Those who make such statements implicitly identify with the state or government in question. It is important to avoid this identification, and to carefully distinguish states from people…” ~ Brian Martin, ‘Uprooting War’

“Lest anyone protest that the state?s true ‘function’ or ‘duty’ or ‘end’ is, as Locke, Madison, and countless others have argued, to protect individuals’ rights to life, liberty, and property, the evidence of history clearly shows that, as a rule, real states do not behave accordingly. The idea that states actually function along such lines or that they strive to carry out such a duty or to achieve such an end resides in the realm of wishful thinking. Although some states in their own self-interest may at some times protect some residents of their territories (other than the state’s own functionaries), such protection is at best highly unreliable and all too often nothing but a solemn farce. Moreover, it is invariably mixed with crimes against the very people the state purports to protect, because the state cannot even exist without committing the crimes of extortion and robbery, which states call taxation (Nock 1939), and as a rule, this existential state crime is but the merest beginning of its assaults on the lives, liberties, and property of its resident population.” ~ Robert Higgs, ‘If Men Were Angels: The Basic Analytics of the State versus Self-government’

Who is hmuller to judge whether I’m being any honest or am devoid of human empathy? He knows nothing at all about either subject, which I have already amply proven and can state again for any new readers.

“Palestine” was a construct of the British occupiers of the area, after having defeated the colonial empire of the Ottomans in WW1. The Jews living there were Palestinians every bit as much as any Arabs. The great majority of Arabs living in the area today came after the British and Israelis developed the area from a neglected backwater riddled with malarial swamps into a productive and thriving land.

The Jews who bought land from absentee Turkish landlords liberated many indentured Arab slaves working the land that was in production. The Arab land that was “confiscated” in the ’48 War of Independence happened solely because the Muslims riled up the Arab population in their revolt against the new and legitimate power in the land. Many Arabs fled the land as the neighboring Arab countries advised when they commenced their invasion and attack on Israel.

The Arabs didn’t form a country in the land Britain allotted to them in Judea and Samaria. Not in ’48 or during the intervening years till the next initiation of hostilities by the Arab nations, where they attacked Israel from Judea and Samaria and lost all rights to administer that land.

Nevertheless, foolish and misguided Israeli politicians repeatedly tried to give the Arabs the opportunity to make a “Palestinian” state, and all these attempts were rejected by the Arabs with more hostilities directed at Israel.

            Enough is enough.

The one who has no empathy is the fool, hmuller, who supports Islamic jihadists bent on destruction, particularly their own.

And you have no honestly, either, hmuller. Your entire narrative is founded on lies from the darkness of hell. Hence the destruction that ensues.

‘Rainbows and reparations’, via victimhood and minority status, enabled by a for-profit military industrial complex and a tax-hostaged population that has little to do with any of that, while incubated along, perhaps, by an Israel-Zionist Lobby and its own US media, higher-education & political footholds– some would say, strangleholds– and historical allegories along those lines, may be slowly and excruciatingly coming to a close.

Yes, absentee Turkish landowners sold some land to Jewish newcomers 1880 thru 1917, (when the Turks lost Palestine).

How much land? What percentage of currently held Jewish land was acquired that way prior to 1917? I would guess very little

In any case, I’d leave if they were adamant and started threatening my family with bombs and bullets. It would be a no-brainer. That’s how you win a war; you avoid it.

Israel, as a State, is a manufactured construct and its problems with/in the area has been in the news since WW2. So the issue has been taking awhile to get resolved.

That writ, I have a feeling that it is in the process of finally being so. If genocide and then the blowback (known and unknown ripple effects over time), if there is to be any, from the genocide is what it will take, then I guess that’s what will be.

C.O. Jones, your hypothetical to Socrates is highly ironic.

The villainous behavior you attribute to Palestinians was precisely the conduct of the Zionists 1880 thru today

They invaded and seized other people’s homes and land, claiming it was Jewish land prior to 70 AD and a little thing like two millenia doesn’t matter in God’s Recorder of Deeds Office.

Bill can go to a hospital or clinic because Bill and that hospital aren’t supporters of deadly hostilities directed at their neighbors. Bill’s hospital isn’t an ammunition depot and command center for terrorism. Neither is Bill’s house.

Why does anyone have to say such obvious things?

Because we have deranged liars running rampant among us, polluting the minds and hearts of the simple and naive with unjust hatred and violence.

            Rainbows & Reparations

‘Rainbows and reparations’, via victimhood and minority status, enabled by a for-profit military industrial complex and a tax-hostaged population that has little to do with any of that, while incubated along, perhaps, by an Israel-Zionist Lobby and its own US media, higher-education & political footholds– some would say, strangleholds– and historical allegories along those lines, may be slowly and excruciatingly coming to a close.

None or, at best, very little of this does anyone any good, including those who may think otherwise, suicidal as some of them may be.

I don’t support US aid to Israel in general, and especially in light of this collective punishment they are inflicting, thanks to US support.

I certainly don’t support US aid to Ukraine. I’ve written more than once here, the US government is the root cause of the war between Russia and Ukraine, as the instigated the crisis.

I don’t support US aid to Taiwan which just antagonizes the Chinese (and is contrary to the agreements the US reached with China in the 1970s…)

I think the US is broke, and we have more pressing needs here in the US.

Since 2001, the US has wasted trillions MORE dollars, on top of the trillions it wasted before on “defense”.

The chickens are coming home to roost. America is going down, and America’s wars are a big reason.

Geopolitics. Debt. Oil/gas. It’s all going to hit at the same time…

And if the Palestinians are as bad as the most zealous Zionists portray them, then South Africa is a good preview of what Palestine/Israel will be like in 10 years. The Israelis are killing many innocent people, and will continue to do so, but just as the Germans were unable to eliminate all the Jews, the Israelis will not be able to eliminate all the Palestinians.

And I think the Israelis know this, which is why they are going to town in Gaza and the West Bank.

As for Jonathan Pollard (aka @Uncle Abraham) rantings about the Gazans, he sounds like a Nazi talking about Jews in the 1930s–and I’m sure the Nazis invoked their “God” too.

You don’t have “…a political party that lies about everything” you have a country, a self-aggrandizing culture, built on mythologies, that lies about everything. And pretty much always has.

Who lied the most egregiously during the debate, by the way? Fact-checkers lost no time post-debate doing that tally for us. Biden uttered his share of lies, but Trump of the GOP blew him out of the water in this regard. His blantant lies numbered thirty-something as i recall.

But it hardly matters. The USA – and the world – is beyond salvage in its current form. Enjoy the spectacle.

    • MiTurn July 5, 2024 at 10:19 am #

Beyond salvaging? Close, but there’s still hope. But then I’m assuming a bunch of adults will suddenly show up and act like, well, adults.

It will take bold action to clean up the Deep State morass, but I’m hopeful that it can be done. At least, get the process going.

But are there enough untainted souls in DC and elsewhere to do the heavy lifting? That’s a question that awaits an answer.

      • Forced-to-subsist-on-small-game July 5, 2024 at 10:39 am #

Doing these things will not address the fact that the USA – and the rest of the modern world – is on its final downward slide for reasons beyond our abilities to address. Reasons of physics, of raw resources. The circus we are seeing out there is simply a byproduct of this stage of the trajectory.

        • Paula D July 5, 2024 at 11:49 am #

That is why the US will never give up trying to conquer Russia.

They have plenty of resources. The only problem is that Russians live on top of them.

Hence….Ukraine, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, etc.

Pirates gonna pirate. The only way our rulers know is killing and looting.

I found this very interesting old “documentary” on Netflix.

It was produced by Americans, probably at the behest of the US government

            “Five Came Back”

Episode 2: “Why We Fight: the Battle of Russia”

I watched the first 10 minutes. Looks like good viewing, for those who have Netflix. I really recommend it.

I recommend to any Russian diplomats stationed in the West, or ANY Russians following CFN, that YOU also watch it.

We believe our truths over facts. -Joe Biden and the media

The only one I actually caught while watching was Trump saying everyone wanted roe v wade overturned and sent back to the states to decide.

Which then caused the leftist media and shrieking harpies to loudly squeal women’s rights murder babies being taken away.
Ad nauseum as if this is the only issue being faced by American women.
Plenty of birth control options to be exploited it’s not as if they have to resort to a back alley and coat hanger.

Half the country wants to murder babies in the womb or later and then pull the plug on granny.

Yes, our society is depraved and sick and all that depravity is as easy as looking at what the Democrat party is pushing.

    • izzy July 5, 2024 at 10:21 am #

        • Cankerpuss July 5, 2024 at 10:38 am #

What percentage of our current crop of government should have been retired 20 years ago? 50% maybe? I grow so tired of seeing these old pigs who should be in an assisted living facility sipping vanilla pudding while watching episodes of Perry Mason and Andy Griffith, staying in positions of power long after they should have just disappeared. Yet, supposedly, the American people continue to vote for these people.

If Congress has a 7% approval rating, one would deduce that there should be a massive turnover each and every election of our Congress creatures. No so. The incumbent wins re-election 90% of the time.

It’s hard to wrap ones brains around the disfunction surrounding the minds of the American public.

          • tuco22 July 5, 2024 at 10:54 am #

Laziness and apathy are responsible for most of the incumbents returning to office year after year. Most of the hoi polloi don’t know what’s really going on in the world or the country, for that matter, anyway, and if they did, most wouldn’t care. That’s just the way it is. When I tried to tell someone once about the approaching Apophis asteroid, she said she was comfortable where she was at. Oh, well. That’s most of ’em, comfortable where they’re at.

The gaslighting hasn’t been shut down, the pretend shock that Biden acted senile is still gaslighting. During Biden’s first year as president he came to the city where I lived and people who saw him at an event described him as totally gone. Everyone around him must have known.

    • Paula D July 5, 2024 at 11:55 am #

Boom! This is probably an even more egregious display of gaslighting.

They’re shocked! Shocked!, to suddenly find out that Biden is demented. Who knew?

Who knew? Most of country, who have been passing around videos and memes proving it for the last 4 years, that’s who. The ones you called ”right wing racist domestic terrorists” for spreading that information, that’s who.

But now you do a coordinated 180 and tell us you just noticed?

      Yeah, no.

    • Prospero July 5, 2024 at 12:34 pm #

And it’s only getting better. Yesterday, Joe Biden announced that he is the “first Black woman to serve with a Black president.” Does this mean that Kamala Harris will soon be our next president?

This ranks as Joe Biden’s most amazing accomplishmen! Not only is Biden transgender, he is also transracial. Biden’s amazing transformation from a White man to a Black woman serving with a Black president may create enough votes to keep a Democratic president installed in the White House.

      • tuco22 July 5, 2024 at 12:57 pm #

Yeah, but I still think his greatest accomplishment was taking a train across the Francis Scott Key bridge, which, by the way, still isn’t being repaired.

      • tuco22 July 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm #

Might as well go whole hog, as they say, right? It’s about time for that category to ascend to the presidency, anyway, with dare I say the first gay VP not far behind? With the democrats, it’s all about categories of people and “firsts.”

      • Prospero July 5, 2024 at 1:11 pm #

On the other hand, Biden’s claim of being the “first Black woman to serve with a Black president” may have been referring to the time he served as the 47th vice president from 2009 to 2017 under President Barack Obama.

Joe, your transgender/transracial statement requires further clarification. Please have your handlers prepare a detailed explanation as to when and how this amazing transformation occurred. Inquiring minds want to know!

      • NickelthroweR July 5, 2024 at 10:45 am #

That very well could happen but I’ve been paying close attention to what is happening over in Ukraine and the drone is now king of the battlefield. If Antifa takes to the streets then what is to stop drone carried nail bombs from making a mess of things? After all, 70% of the munitions sent over to Ukraine “vanished”.

We know that the Mexican drug cartels now have anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons so obtaining explosives probably isn’t that hard now. Hammas carried out its Oct 7th attack using US weapons. If unlimited amounts of fentanyl can be smuggled into the country then I bet a whole bunch of the munitions earmarked for Ukraine are already here and waiting.

        • tuco22 July 5, 2024 at 10:56 am #

Probably. Then they’ll blame it on “white supremacists” and congress will eliminate the 2nd amendment because, well, just because. Peace and safety and all that. Oh, and democracy.

          • neurodoc July 5, 2024 at 11:58 am #

Fortunately, an attempt to eliminate the 2nd Amendment will finally bring about the 2nd Civil War and people from the red states will then have liberty to kill people aligned with the blue states on sight. Seriously. A vast majority of people I talk to in red states, including people whose net worth is rather high, are foaming at the mouth to have such happen.

Peace is being taken from the earth. This is the Second Seal.

          • Watcher July 6, 2024 at 10:58 am #

Arms could be mostly eliminated from the populace if that was the objective. It is actually not that difficult to accomplish. A significant dose of fear focused in the proper fashion is all that is required. People will willingly relocate when toxic conditions are declared over entire regions. Most weapons would have to be left behind in a sudden evacuation. Virtually all ammunition. People are terrified of bio/chem/radiological contamination to the point of suffering and eventual death. Most would evac. Problem solved.

Also, Druid below references peace being removed in the seals. Consider this. Since when is the world at peace? There are more conflicts, wars, and general destruction of human beings happening now than ever.

We are far beyond the second seal. It could be surmised that we are at the precipice of the 6th. The earth is already shaking itself to pieces. Earthquakes have been on a meteoric rise, and no one is paying attention. Magma is moving, and the inside of the earth is doing a wicked shimmy. The South Atlantic Anomaly is growing, and the magnetic poles are wandering all over the place. What are we dealing with that could cause every mountain and island to move from their place?

The war developing will be the most devastating we have ever faced, but it will pale in comparison to what is coming up from below. No one is ready because no one is heeding the warning signs. The old world was very familiar with even older stories that told them of prior calamities of unimaginable totality. The old stories are dismissed as fable. An indictment against the ego of philosopher kings who lord over an all too willing populace, self-indulged in endless entertainments, at the expense of other human beings who suffer. A mistake.

The Constitution allows peaceful protest as a right for people. Maybe the reason why is that protest allows the minority to blow off steam and go home. The key word is peaceably.

What’s Charlottesville peaceful? Or Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, Seattle, DC, or Jan.6?

Nope, all riots. destruction and insanity.

  10. Cankerpuss July 5, 2024 at 10:23 am #

“It signaled patriarchal control of a whole lot of other things, too. Boundaries galore!”

The patriarchal order is essentially the order of the nuclear family. The Father is the head of the household charged with providing for the material and temporal needs of his wife and children. He is also charged with protecting those children and teaching those children the boundaries that are essential to surviving and thriving in the real world. In short, a father’s job is to prepare his children for life outside of the home. Men are particularly adept at this because historically it has been men who spend most of their lives working outside of the home. Not the women.

Then along comes World War 2 which sends the men off to war, leaves the factories with many unmanned positions. Propaganda flies in the faces of the American public with posters of pretty women flexing their biceps muscle encouraging them to leave their homes and their children and come work at the factories making bombs, tanks and airplanes to assist in the war effort.

The problem is after World War 2 had ended the women didn’t return to their roles in the home as mothers and wives. And thus began the unravelling of the order of the nuclear family which is a patriarchal order. After that we had the eras of rebellion against that order in the forms of feminism, free love, the hippies and their endless fight against “the man” and ultimately an economy where fathers can no longer support their families on one income, where women have abrogated their sacred responsibility to be mothers, where sexual freedom has resulted in millions of children born out of wedlock, where abortion is now a means of birth control with the same regard as putting on a condom, where women have abrogated this sacred duty in favor of being a paper pusher in a plain cubicle while their children are being raised in a day care center by paid professionals who care not for those children they are paid to take care of.

Donald Trump, love him or hate him, represents that patriarchal order. He is the strong man that many either hate or love. I don’t live under the delusion that Mr. Trump will solve what ails American society. But I do admire the man. All of his children appear to be contributing members of society rather than crack addicted pong mongers like the Biden’s son. Trump loves his children and apparently honors his role as a father. It is for this reason that, in spite of my knowing that DJT will not solve what ails America, I look up to and admire the man. Weird hair and all. He is the patriarch that all American fathers should be.

Excellent write up, Jim. Thanks for your analysis.

A few years back I was watching a new version of Star Trek, I believe it was Discovery which is nothing more than a long slew of woke debauchery that I couldn’t finish. Not to mention I found myself wishing the star characters would all die (that’s how unlikeable the black female Vulcan captain was or the gay engineer and gay doctor). But, I managed to tolerate that wokeness. No, what really finally turned me off to the show which was hard because I am a huge fan of Star Trek, was when this tiny little, barely 90 pound 50 year old Asian woman was beating the shit out of 300 pound Klingons. I couldn’t take it anymore. Have not watched a second since. It has grown so old and is a tired, woke cliche.

        • tuco22 July 5, 2024 at 12:53 pm #

I never watched it. We weren’t able to get it on our TV lineup, and I doubt we’d have watched it, anyway. They lost me with the series with Kate Mulgrew as Cpt. Janeway. Just couldn’t get into it anymore. Never really got into The Next Generation, either.

          • Cankerpuss July 5, 2024 at 1:09 pm #

They managed to insert some workery into those as well, but nothing like they did with that Discovery series. It was awful. I have never watched a TV show where I found myself truly loathing the main protagonists. 13 episode season. I could only tolerate 6.

I don’t watch the teevee anymore save for some WWE pay per view events. At least they haven’t gone woke yet. The men beat up men and the women beat up women. There are some lesbian female wrestlers and probably some gay dudes but they don’t focus on that. And as far as I can tell there aren’t any male wrestlers claiming to be female wrestlers.

Every planet in the galaxy has a Black problem. Early Klingons were dark skinned Whites, but the “Black” element has purged them and now the Klingons are hardly even humanoid.

Sad that Vulcan is under the same pressures.

The Romulans alone stand strong. Their ships manned by White Romulans. The female commander who tried to seduce Spock? White.

You might find it amusing, but I have to tell you, many young women believe that is reality. I had a lengthy argument with a bunch of women on Facebook about just this thing, when I said that intersectional feminism was a dangerous delusion. Even after I patiently explained sexual dimorphism to them and the differences in muscle mass and where that muscle is carried, they remained convinced that they could take on a man, if they had to. I can only assume none of them had brothers to put their face in the dirt occasionally.

When the doors opened to the lobby, his right arm was hanging useless, dislocated. As was his jaw. The knife was stuck in the elevator ceiling. His friend had no memory of how the knife ended up there.

I, myself, don’t have that skill. It takes years of study and dedication to acquire and instruction is expensive. None of those women indicated they actually had much real knowledge of self-defense, just an amazing and unearned self-confidence.

Tournament karate is separated into men’s and women’s. So size and strength still matter. All other things being equal, a man who trained at the same level would defeat a woman on the same level.

Of course self defense karate is a very different thing. He didn’t know what she had and she didn’t warn him either. Good for her.

Men do have a superior muscle mass so for a woman it’s got to be about preparation and maintaining a certain mindset. Motivation and the element of surprise can help lead to a ‘brains over brawn’ outcome.

Not to get the board all riled up, but along with martial arts consider looking into Krav Maga. It will definitely help you to become stronger physically and to develop the right attitude should you ever face a potential assault.

It is actually rather sad that Trump cannot solve the myriad problems facing amerika; the collapsing US$, gangs invading behind their shithole cities, the progressing hyperinflationary depression, the entrenched psychopaths in the deep state, the congress that is crooked to the core, etc ad nauseum. Sad, because I personally believe that Trump truly loves this country (or what is was) and truly wants to do anything he can to revive it. I just think its too far gone; to solve our problems, we would need to abolish the system of house and senate reps, get rid of 90% of judges and city/county mayors (and probably terminate their children, as did Mao), and either terminate or horse tie the billionaires wanting to kill of a majority of the population. None of that is going to happen, even under trump. So sorry to say for all the naive polyannas out there.

      • River July 5, 2024 at 5:58 pm #

I also believe that Trump genuinely loves the U.S. and wants to restore its integrity. It’s going to be a rough ride no matter who wins the election, but the crash landing will hopefully be a bit softer if the Dems are removed from power.

Well said, Doc. I grow very frustrated with people who claim they won’t vote for Trump simply because they don’t like his personality. When I mention that some of his policies are good for the economy and the country, they don’t care. Many voters vote exclusively on likeability.

” Of course, there’s still plenty of time left for them to destroy the country altogether.”

The riot season is here. The Europeans seems to have gotten a head start. Expect it to spread across the water and land here.

Who are these ‘illegal invaders’ who flout the laws of the former Republic with impunity? Who are these actors who fail to uphold the laws? Who are those among these actors who use the laws as weapons to destroy opponents?

And why are these illegal invaders not vetted and vaxxed? What makes them so special? Why are they necessary for the dark minions who themselves are controlled by an elite cult borne of a demonic entity?

Much confusion exists in the former Republic, particularly among those who have spent their lives trying to follow the laws which guided society in the former Republic.

Confusion can be said to exist as a way station on the road to better understanding and expansion of knowledge..

When significant numbers awaken to the existence of the former Republic as a place now WROL (Without Rule Of Law), expect all hell to break loose.

The Silent Majority… ha…. probably not going to remain so silent and not for much longer.

Concurrently, the ‘Deep State’ actors keep poking the Bear.

In the meantime, it can be anticipated many opportunists plot while they wait in the wings.

    What could possibly go wrong?

Yes, confusion and chaos rules and reigns at the moment. It’s been building up to this for a long time. We are not the “USA” anymore. We should be called the “CSA” or “Confused States of America”. We’re so confused we have trouble now figuring out what gender we are. We’re completely confused and delusional about the future. We think we can continue to rip off the rest of the world in one sided trade arrangements, and we continue to think that Asia owes us a living and and are obligated to support our lifestyles. Without China we’d not have available all the stuff in the big box stores like shoes and clothing. And we’re planning on biting the hands that feed us? Good luck with that! The rest of the world is at this very moment making plans to give us an epic ass whuppin’.

When they announced the “rules-based order” to replace international law, we all should have known those chickens would come home to roost.

We now have a “rules-based order” here at home.

They make up the rules, which they may or may not announce, and then they punish you for breaking the rules, which you may or may not have known.

It is most widespread on social media, where many people have bumped up against the secret rules, called “community standards”, but Trump is a victim of the syndrome.

They made up new laws, re-interpreted old laws, changed the rules on statue of limitations, turned misdemeanors into felonies….the whole thing was blatantly “rules-based”, instead of law abiding.

They do the same thing internationally, but most Americans pay no attention to that.
      They should have.

You might be right, Cank. Some people are saying at least 20 million illegals have been shepherded into the country since Jan. 2020, not only across the southern border but flown in on DHS chartered flights by the hundreds of thousands; there is evidence these people are being registered to vote. In Ct, which has 250,000 illegals, they are eligible for DLs, and when they apply for their DLs they are automatically put on the voter rolls. I suspect alll kinds of devious subterfuges are being used across the country to bulk up the Dem electorate.

Well, I remember a video I saw of Obama telling this young girl, a noncitizen, that if you were in the country, you were a citizen already. I never forgot that. So, that’s the democrat mindset, that if they’re already in country, they’re citizens already, so yeah, I would expect them to be given the right to vote in November. And then the shit will hit the fan with Russia and they’ll be drafted, as newly minted citizens, to go fight for democracy. And they’ll get slaughtered on the battlefield because none of our current military leaders care about the troops. They care about careers. Problem solved! They voted, they went to war and then they died, and now the government won’t have to come up with jobs and housing for them. See how that works? Keep voting for those elected representatives!

Larry Fink would have no wealth or power if the Evil Reagan hadn’t destroyed the unions and set loose the vulture capitalists who destroyed viable businesses and stripped their pension plans, and started the attack on Social Security.

Then they told workers that they had no pensions, so they had to put a percentage of their wages into 401Ks, so that they would be rich, rich I tell you!, in 40 years when they retired. Of course, they had to keep contributing the whole time, and never touch the principal, or be severely taxed. The government colluded with the hedge funds to keep that money in their hands,

Millions of workers and billions of dollars later, Larry Fink has wealth and power, and then people bitch and complain about it, without ever asking why.

Paula, I started a 401K at the young tender age of 21. I have contributed to that 401K dutifully ever since. I was promised by financial planners that, thanks to compound interest, that by the time I reached 55 I would be a millionaire. Last I checked, my 40K is sitting at about $100K.

So much for compound interest. I was deceived, big time.

Well said, OG. People don’t understand contingency. A common one among conservatives sensitive to the war on Whites is to curse Hitler. If it wasn’t for him, none of this would be happening.

Balderdash. The fatwa (the Kalergi Plan) had already been issued. He saw the Enemy and fought. Now people blame him as if he cause it? If hadn’t arisen, they would have destroyed even faster or with negative references to some other great Man who arose to fight them.

          • Paula D July 5, 2024 at 1:35 pm #

Yes, Cankerpuss, that is how it really works out.

OG, yes, Reagan was the puppet put up as the face of corporate America.

But I was reading the Heritage Foundation’s new roadmap, and they said that they had a team ready to go in 1981, destroying the middle class lifestyle that so many Americans now look back on with nostalgia. (I paraphrase).

They put their hatchet men in every bureaucracy, in order to subvert and destroy them.
(Rather like putting DeJoy as head of the USPS).

They immediately attacked the unions. They turned the vulture capitalists loose. They sneered as millions of small farmers lost their land due to the high interest rates of the 80s. They shut down cheap housing and then ignored the soaring rates of homeless on the streets.

Actually, we didn’t have homeless on the streets before the 80s. Now, since more than half of all Americans were born after 1980, most Americans think it’s perfectly normal to have tent encampments under every bridge and in the woods, and to step over bodies on city streets.
It’s actually amazing how people can grow accustomed to atrocities. It’s only been 22 years since the Patriot Act, the Homeland Security Act, the Military Commissions Act, and the creation of fusion centers and the TSA. And yet, Americans meekly submit to rape-a-scans and water confiscation, hand over their ID papers to get into buildings or buy alcohol (when they are decades past 21), squat and urinate on demand, are fine with being tracked and monitored online, and many other outrageous indignities.

            That didn’t take long.

And now the Heritage Foundation has a plan and a team to take it to another level. Watch and see. Americans will bitch and moan at first, but then they’ll comply.

          • Mac July 5, 2024 at 4:39 pm #

Paula- You do realize Social Security could be abolished tomorrow by Congress with a Presidential signature. Not likely, but that’s a fact. More easily, they could slash benefits. At least with a 401K, it is in my name. Of course, they could tax that away if they wanted. At least, that part they haven’t inflated away already.

If for 40 years a worker and his employer put the same amount of money that they put into SS into the S&P 500 inside a 401K, there would be a hell of a lot more money in the 401K. SS is just a promise, and if you die when your 65, your family gets squat.

          • Paula D July 5, 2024 at 6:31 pm #

Sure, Mac, keep on believing. You’re totally going to be rich, rich! I tell you!

            And it’s all yours!

          • Paula D July 5, 2024 at 6:50 pm #

After the 2008 crash, which wiped out the 401K savings of most everyone I worked with, the hospital had the nerve to switch from Vanguard to another plan, headed by a bank that had almost failed. (I can’t remember its name now).

Anyway, we all had to go to one of their You Can Be Rich seminars, and be cheer led by one of their toothy swindlers.

I couldn’t believe that she was still peddling the same bullshit that had JUST been proven to be a Big Fat Lie, so I kept challenging her on her statements.
One of my favorite co-workers was there, and I assumed that she was listening to what I was saying.
One thing I remember was that she said that there were different tiers and one of the best short term was the money market.
This was when they were paying 98 cents on the dollar, so I pointed that out. She admitted that was true, but then just kept on with the bullshit. She probably works for the media or the White House now.

Anyway, at the end, she asked which tier we wanted, High Risk/High reward, Moderate Risk/Moderate reward, or Low Risk/Low Reward.

My friend enthusiastically yelled out “High risk! I wanna be rich!”
I couldn’t believe it. 2008, faced with her recent crash of funds, she was still falling for the bullshit.

She died in the fall of 2022 from a fast-acting cancer. I have no doubt that she took the jab with equal enthusiasm.

Then they told us that the fastest way to “grow” our 401Ks was to double or triple our contributions. Who would be stupid enough to fall for that line?

Many people, as it turned out. They felt sad that their “retirement money” had disappeared, and they wanted that bottom line to be impressive again. So they turned over more and more of their paycheck to the hedge fund, (which had promised to make their money “grow” forever, all by itself. How’d that work out for them? Never mind, now they were onto the new thing!)

Anyway, you can’t fix stupid. And that’s what our overlords depend upon.

What’s with the defence of Trump? (He raised children “successfully”? To adulthood, okay. Career addicts have done the same. And no doubt plenty of them luv their daddy.) Is it because one guy and his party are obviously “the bad guy” it must automatically follow that the other one is therefore good? This ain’t Hollywood. I recall a front page tabloid quote of Trump’s from what must have been the 80’s – “A person can never be too greedy…” Big picture of his much younger pre-orange face.

The media – the people – don’t like Trump cos he’s an asshole. It’s really that simple. Decent people, people with innate discernment, don’t like assholes. This is what explains the “repugnance with the man.” People view him with repugnance because he’s repugnant. Let’s not complicate things, turn this into some mystery where none exists. Trump is the living embodiment of the very worst features of the USA, and the folks who worship those worst features love him. And the rest don’t.

Why not just call this for what it is and move on?

Actually, decent people see that Trump is a very good person, and you would if you actually turned off the MSM. Weak winded, beta males such as yourself see him as a threat, and it comes down to extreme jealousy as he has succeeded wildly in every endeavor.

So, in other words, you’re going to vote for Biden because he’s not repugnant.

      • Cankerpuss July 5, 2024 at 12:38 pm #

Biden is a mean, vindictive, ugly, angry little man. His eyes are dark and black, narrowed down to evil little slits. I don’t care if he is senile or riddled with dementia. That man is evil to his very core.

        • tuco22 July 5, 2024 at 1:12 pm #

My comment was directed to Forced-to-Subsist. I agree with you about Biden. If he partook of adrenochrome at any point in his life, his senility is probably the result. I think the main reason Hillary isn’t giving it a third go is because her health won’t allow it. It’s kind of like the move The Leech Woman, where she had to take more and more of the drug to remain young, but she had to kill people to get the pineal gland excretion to mix with the drug, and every time she took it, when it wore off, she was older than before. I think that’s what that stuff does to you, wrecks you neurologically and intellectually. But they need to keep taking it. Makes tobacco look like a piker.

          • tuco22 July 5, 2024 at 1:16 pm #

I realize a lot of people have poo-pooed the idea of adrenochrome, but the demonic have always been after blood, especially the blood of children, since ancient times. It’s the bastardization of the crucifixion, the mockery of Christ’s spilled blood for sin. That’s why they always had to have human sacrifices. And it wasn’t just in ancient times, either, as the movie Apocalypto shows.

Given the non-charges the Democrat scum in New York and Georgia had to concoct against DJT something tells me he isn’t any of what you are describing in your comment.

If DJT were as big of an asshole as you are claiming I would think there would have been a lot more mud they could have flung at him. They couldn’t find anything, had to make up charges, because the man does things the right way.

I am an old man and have followed politics since I was a teenager because of the Vietnam war.

We have always had the Illusion of choice when it comes to Elections. That why do not vote.

I refuse to participate in and validate the fraud that is being perpetrated on me.

Then came Trump. He is the Real deal.

    • Socrates-Detroit July 5, 2024 at 11:22 am #

The Vietnam War and race relations/civil rights wrecked the Democratic Party and unraveled the US on many levels.

The seeds of middle America’s demise (by that I mean conventional families who work and PAY taxes) were sown in the 1960s and 1970s by many factors, but Vietnam and race were big blows and “crowded out” the slow moves toward financialization and globalization that had benefits for consumers for a lot of drawbacks for producers (workers).

The Democrats ran things in the 1960s. Vietnam became THEIR baby–not only did over a million people die, but the deficit spending on it’s own, and later in conjunction with developments, wrecked US finances, and they have never recovered, though “gridlock” in the late 90s slowed the bleeding.

Unfortunately, I agree with you that we’ve always had the illusion of choice. That is the truth. The Democrats have been owned by, and beholden to, big capital since 1913 for sure.

Still, many of things middle America “enjoyed” were due to the Democrats, organized labor, and progressives, like a 40-hour work week, a (once upon a time) livable minimum wage, and cleaner air and water.

BTW, I’ve hated the 98% of Democrat politicians my whole adult life…. I don’t think I’ve ever voted for one in a general election–only in primaries in an effort to pick the lesser of the evils or the weaker candidate.

The Democrats simply imploded between 1963 and 1988, and the Republicans, the party of the wealthy, simply reinvented themselves a little, picked up the pieces, and harvested disaffected Democrats.

Both parties are complicit. If one thinks America in 2024 is great, then both parties are great…

I’ve voted in 10 Presidential elections–70% 3rd party, Trump 2x, and Bush Jr in 2000 (the only vote I regret).

I always encourage disaffected people to vote for 3rd party–ANY 3rd party, even if there is none that mostly agree with.

I hope you and all the other disaffected people here vote for a 3rd party–any one of them. I’m not even sure of who I will vote for–but I will vote and register my dissatisfaction.

Or the constant argument of voting for one guy because he is “the lesser of the two evils.” That argument makes my head want to explode. A vote for the lesser of two evils is still in fact a vote for evil. Why don’t people get this?

          Brainwashed. Like you said, Paula.

      • Jarek July 5, 2024 at 1:35 pm #

Let’s be clear: The Left is right about America being racist. It was created by Whites for Whites. They say that’s a bad thing. I saw it’s the most natural thing in the world. They expected Whites to create it for someone else? Did the Chinese create China for Blacks?

So the Left is right factually but wrong in terms of their judgement of those facts.

The Right is typically wrong about both, accepting the Left’s judgement and lying to themselves about the Founders.

        • Cankerpuss July 5, 2024 at 3:17 pm #

America was created by God for the true Adamic race. Whites. White people are the true Israelites descended from the lost 10 tribes who, when they went out of Israel migrated north and became the tribes of Gaul, Britain, Germania and Scandinavia. Eventually many of those people migrated to the Americas. Today Satan wages war against the Adamic people using non-Adamic peoples to destroy the true posterity of Father Abraham, the true House of Israel.

That’s an intriguing story, Cankerpuss. I’ve heard it for over 50 years without encountering any convincing evidence – sort of like the flat earth theory.

Here’s another myth equally supported by evidence. A race of reptilian bipeds called the Elohim (Anunaki, Olympians, Devas, Jinn, etc) have been interacting with humans for millenia. They are malevolent and exploitative; they are not our friends.

The god of the Mormons has a body, a wife, aides, and a home planet. Does this sound like an alien lord or the true Infinite Deity?

Just throwing out ideas, hope I didn’t push anyone’s rage button.

    • ezinmn July 5, 2024 at 12:10 pm #

Hey Teddy – Hang in there. Trump has a couple of programs set up to continue the process of dismantling the administrative state. The Supreme Court gave him a head start by defanging the power these unelected agency’s have.

Trump signed an executive order (Schedule F) which allowed him greater authority over these agencies, to fire agency heads and reform them. Biden cancelled this. Trump will reinstate Schedule F Day 1.

Trump has been working hard on Project2025.org to get a vast team put together to staff every important agency throughout the government, replacing and exposing traitors (like Chris Wray, e.g.) and installing only patriots.

Of course the dems and traitors will fight him bitterly, but that is the war we’re in. As the late Vikings coach Denny Green once said, when two teams come out onto the field, there will be one winner and one loser.

      • Cankerpuss July 5, 2024 at 12:43 pm #

I would like to see Trump go beyond just eliminating agency heads and reforming them. I would like to see Trump eliminate all Federal agencies that are not clearly mandated by the Constitution (thus sending these responsibilities to the individual states).

        HHS – Gone.
        EPA – Gone.
Bureau of Land Management – Gone.
        Education – Gone.

Weird, I saw a You Tube last night saying that Saudi Arabia had cut off the USA from OPEC+ oil. The report stated the reasons why, mostly the snub that Biden did to the Crown prince. It was not said, but OPEC+ sounded an awful like BRICS+. Russia, India and China were all mentioned as beneficiaries.

I think he handled it brilliantly. You know when he said “Biden”, Democrat heads exploded.

          • JohnAZ July 5, 2024 at 1:31 pm #

Meddling in elections? I have never understood that. Everything is meddling in an election, every influence, domestic and foreign should be able to influence an election. Free speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, all guarantees that elections can be freely meddled with.

Should Putin or Xi be able to affect who they will be dealing with? Absolutely. In this country, it is called endorsing a candidate.

The true definition of a free election, IMHO, is the ability of every voter to influence the election or make a decision based on every possible input before they vote.

Limiting Russia, or China or AIPAC from influencing elections is denying true voting democracy.

        • Blackbird July 5, 2024 at 2:26 pm #

          Nobody should believe anything.

Belief is assuming to know to be true (or false) what you can’t possibly know to be true (or false). Better to assess everything you see/hear/etc on a scale of probability.

From, “Hmmm, yeah, I think that’s probably true”, to “Umm, no, I don’t think so”. And always be ready to revise your estimate.

Belief doesn’t like change. Belief wants you to pick an answer and stick with it, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

And since trust is a form of belief, don’t trust anybody.

I read somewhere that Joe Strummer said that from London Calling onward, the Clash were given lyrics and told to put together music for them. Of course I don’t believe that, but I think it is likely to be true. Best commie band ever.

Don’t get your hopes up too high that some adults will show up to set things right. The CIA did not “just happen” to be in control. They have been in control ever since before they discarded Kennedy.

    • tuco22 July 5, 2024 at 11:17 am #

Kennedy went against the norm, which is why they killed him. I believe he had a Damascus road moment at some point in his life, probably because he had two young kids at the time and didn’t want to see them grow up in the America we have now. That’s when he deviated from the norm.

      • MiTurn July 5, 2024 at 11:50 am #

        “Damascus road moment”

He did. After being gung-ho against North Vietnam, he suddenly realized that military action against it was a mistake; and, additionally and relatedly, that the CIA was out of control. He was going to clean house. If my information is correct, he didn’t last a month.

        • Cankerpuss July 5, 2024 at 12:48 pm #

I also believe Kennedy wanted to reform the monetary system, keep the currency based on gold and silver.

In all forms, Kennedy, as immoral as a man as he was, was trying to do what he was elected to do. Be President. So LBJ and his filthy conspirators in the CIA (Dulles) killed the son of a bitch.

I believe Kennedy to be the last President this Country had who actually tried to be a President. Since then, they’ve all be stuff suits with puppet strings. Yes, even Donald J Trump.

No John AZ, I will be voting for Trump. I’m just too black pilled to believe that one man, even a man like DJT, can solve what ails America. The people must first cure themselves inwardly by repenting of their sins, abandoning their paganistic lifestyles and returning to worship of the very God who gave them everything. Only then can we have the spirit we need to reconcile and correct.

In the postwar era, the deep state’s three presidential losses/errors were Kennedy, Reagan, and Trump.

Somewhere I came across a podcast that said everything we are experiencing is a result of a long-standing war between the C..I..A and the ONI (office of naval intelligence).

The record is not good for ONI presidents, as the C..I..A has a habit of shooting them.

What about Jimmy Carter – who Americans derided because he asked them to put on sweaters, turn the thermostat down a few degrees and conserve energy? How was that such a huge sacrifice?

He seems genuinely altruistic, proven I would say, by the fact that he didn’t remain in politics forever afterwards to rake in more $$ but continued to quietly work toward helping the poor in downtrodden areas.

          • Paula D July 5, 2024 at 7:17 pm #

It wasn’t a huge sacrifice, especially for the Depression era adults back then, who probably grew up without electricity or gas.
The media hyped it as an unbearable burden, but polls showed most people back then thought it was just common sense.

Jimmy was a Navy boy, and the Deep State certainly got rid of him.

Remember that the Reagan team made a deal with the Ayatollah. If the Iranians would hold the American hostages, the Reagan administration would sell them weapons.

Meanwhile, the media, including Walter Cronkite, solemnly announced, every damn night, the number of days the hostages had been held, working Americans up into a frenzied rage.

Iran and the Reaganites both kept the deal. The Iranians released the hostages, within minutes of the Inauguration, and the Americans kept Iran supplied with weapons through the 80s.

The Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) is the military intelligence agency of the United States Navy. Established in 1882 primarily to advance the Navy’s modernization efforts, it is the oldest member of the U.S. Intelligence Community and serves as the nation’s premier source of maritime intelligence.

Even before. Truman sounded an alarm, Eisenhower sounded an alarm…

My fear is that they will “JFK” Trump. Some “white nationalist” will take him out — sort of like the J6 “insurrection.” Damn white people, especially those cis-males.

Then the democrats can have a two-fer: the elimination of Trump AND the second amendment, because you know if something like that happens, our august elected representatives won’t hesitate to eliminate it. Most of them are chomping at the bit to do so now, anyway. Beto O’Rourke, anyone?

Think of what Epstein had on who, and how much do you think the guards were paid to look the other way? Do you think they, too, will end up whacked at some point in the future? Loose ends, you know.

          • OG July 5, 2024 at 1:53 pm #

I believe that, typically, they are fine with loose ends. They afford them every opportunity to keep silent and only whack them if necessary.

Loose ends are concerning for run-of-the-mill criminals … but far less so when you own media and justice.

Having said that, it is handled on a case-by-case basis. Just ask Seal Team 6.

          • OG July 5, 2024 at 5:20 pm #

While I’m sour on Trump now, I was MAGA before MAGA was cool in 2015/2016 (as I enjoy reminding Republican who told me, as late as March 2016 that he would not win, or later that Hillary would beat him).

I definitely will enjoy seeing Biden (or Harris or whatever Democrat lose).

But the way I see it, things are much harder now, Trump is much older, and Trump will be more beholden in 2025 than he was in 2017.

          • Blackbird July 5, 2024 at 2:39 pm #

Sox, do you really think our votes matter?

If Trump gets back into the White House it’s because our overlords wanted it so. If he “beats” Big Mike (whom the Narrative assures us would whoop Trump soundly) in the (s)election, imagine the explosion of violence and general lawlessness from the left. That too would be an intended consequence.

Don’t write off the Democrats ability to lie, cheat and steal their way back.
In Illinois, the Dems and Reps have collaborated to make it almost impossible for a third party candidate to get on the ballot, by requiring 25,000 signatures.
Depending on where you petition, you can get maybe 10 to 30 signatures/hour, so you can see how difficult 25,000 is.

But RFK, Jr volunteers turned in 65,000 signatures.
Wow! Impressive, right? No way the Dems could challenge those
Oh, no, you would be wrong if you thought that the Dems were anything other than sneaky, cheating, knee-capping pieces of excrement.
The DemocRat party is the Tonya Harding of politics

They are challenging 65,000 signatures, in order to keep a candidate off the ballot, so that their chances to win are better.
This is what they call “Defending Democracy”.

You got me on this one.

My one regret about now is that he does not acknowledge the damage his administration did with the Vaxx. He allowed the Pence-Fauci team to pull the wool over the US eyes. Only defense, fear by Trump who is a germaphobe.

Remember that the vaxx was never about good medicine, it was about politics.

          • C.O.Jones July 6, 2024 at 12:00 pm #

I agree JohnAZ – the vaxx was about politics – the politics of mass murder on a scale never seen before.

Politics is about money which is the lever to power.

Trump appoints and promotes deep state swamp rats like Fauci and Birx while saying he’s against the deep state. People believe him.

Do you realize there was a billionaire created for every day of “lockdown?” Where did that money come from? Largely the middle class which was darn near destroyed. Thank you Donald Trump for showing how much you love the people who voted for you. If you cannot murder them, bankrupt them! Most of them are so stupid, they will vote for you again.

Biden inherited the lockdown from Trump and made it worse by prolonging it. These are the actions of deep state actors. Different sides of the same coin.

If I proclaimed myself to be against people who deface public buildings with graffiti and you looked out your window and saw me defacing a building with graffiti, would you believe my actions or my words?

It’s true that Biden is feeble at times. The Associated Press recently addressed our president’s extraordinary mental decline by stating that Joe Biden is often ‘sharp and focused’ at 81 years old, but is also ‘confused and forgetful’ at the same time. Ladies and gentlemen, terrible news to report:

In a tenure rivaling that of John Paul I in its brevity, FrontHole has been removed from the board of Queers For Palestine.

A spokesperson for QFP said that several facts had come to light that were unknown at the time of Mr. FrontHole’s accession to the board. The first was that FrontHole had overstated his IQ in onboarding documents. QFP was aware that Special Olympics scoring must be used for Canadian applicants but even with this factored in, Mr FrontHole had significantly misrepresented his intellectual bona fides. The spokesperson stated that this was not necessarily a dealbreaker because most members of QFP are “almost retarded” but they are honest about it while Mr. FrontHole is either lacking in self-awareness or has no standards of intellectual rigor.

The more damning evidence precluding Mr. FrontHole’s bid however came after an investigation prompted by FrontHole’s reference to Benjamin Netanyahu’s “hairy ass” in a social media post. This post caused QFP members to question how Mr. FrontHole could be privy to such knowledge. In the ensuing probe, investigators found a decades-long trail of FrontHole’s liaisons with Zionist men, including participation in the practice of being “Nakba’ed” where Zionist men dip their hairy balls in the participant’s mouth while singing the Hativkah. While there is no evidence that Mr. FrontHole was ever Nakba’ed by Netanyahu, it does appear that he was Nakba’ed on at least several other occasions by other prominent individuals such as Jamie Dimon and Allen Greenspan.

At the time of the writing, Mr. FrontHole has vowed to soldier on. There are indications that Mr. FrontHole is in talks to from his own organization: Men Who Are Definitely Not Gay But Talk About Other Men’s Hairy Asses For Palestine.

        Speaking of Netanyahu

Mr Netenyahu is not stupid, he’s a very smart, self-centered, selfish person. His principal concern is to remain in power and to escape prison where he might end up…. I don’t think he believes for a minute that he can successfully destroy Hamas militarily. His objective is the annihilation of the people of Gaza. If he can’t do it by starving them out, he will do it by bombing them or using snipers or whatever other means he can to either drive them out of Gaza, or kill them.

I don’t think I could say it any better.

However, these are not my words. They are from (former diplomat, former US Ambassador Saudi Arabia, former Deputy Secretary of Defense) Chas Freeman.

  27. reggiezz July 5, 2024 at 1:41 pm #

I read awhile back that the Yellowstone bison herds had been deteriorating as a species genetically until wolves were reintroduced into the park to kill off the weak and old. Without wolves, the weak and old reproduce, and the herd gets weaker with each new generation.

I imagine the threats that human hunter gatherer groups faced performed a similar function for homo sapiens.

But how do agricultural based societies, or modern ones, cope with this problem? Periodic epidemics would get rid of the physically weak people, but what about the mentally ill? Brains are complex and a lot can go wrong. Many of the problems are heritable, so living long enough to breed means the society gets increasingly demented with every generation.

We used to lock the worst up in places like Bedlam, but there were still hordes on the streets making a living as prostitutes, thieves, pickpockets, actors, etc. At some point, their proportion increases to a dangerous level, threatening the continuation of their society in a real way. I’m pretty sure the answer humans found is war, civil or aggressive against others. It clears out the crazies for awhile. A sort of Great Genetic Reset.

And we’re way past having a mentally healthy society. The most vocal today are the most batshit crazy. So the solution found long ago is bound to kick in.

    • OG July 5, 2024 at 1:44 pm #

A perfect question deserves a simple and perfect answer if there is one. When Nature can no longer do her work, man must take up the slack. Google “eugenics”. Of course they hate it. They would, right? But that just means they don’t want us to do it, while they do it themselves.

      • Cankerpuss July 5, 2024 at 3:26 pm #

Humanity has found a way to break the laws of “natural selection.” No longer do the stupid, weak and sickly die off. No. Quite the opposite. In humans, the stupid, weak and sickly continue to reproduce passing their inferior genes on to their progenitors. So, as a species we continue to get dumber and dumber and dumber. Is it any wonder women don’t know what a woman is, men think they are women even though they packing male junk and parents take their innocent children to reading hour with cross dressing queers or to a concert with that demented reprobate Jojo Siwa?

One day the law of “natural selection” will re-assert itself. I hope I live to see it.

        • Paula D July 5, 2024 at 7:30 pm #

You are mixing up weak and sickly, with smart. Two different things.

The original eugenics movement was more concerned with encouraging fine physical specimens than brains.

Raising children in crowded tenements, with sunshine blacked out by coal smoke, and putting them to work at age 6, made them tend to be poor physical specimens. Who woulda thought?

Clearly the answer was to change the breeding patterns of the workers. How could the owners make profits from those sickly, rickets-deformed children? They needed better stock. If you could breed horses or cattle for desired attributes, you could certainly do the same with humans.

The focus on encouraging brainy people to breed came much later.

I used to read Victorian era novels, and I remember that they characterized smart people as being sickly and weak, and the most admired characters were those burly, strong men who didn’t think too much, but could carry heavy loads and work all day.

        • Jarek July 5, 2024 at 10:06 pm #

IQ is about 80% genetic so we should breed for both.

In the old days, the best people had the most kids and/or the most kids that survived. Under the reign of matter (Capitalism/Communism), every one is too busy working and the breeding is left to welfare cases and immigrants. What an utter disaster.

The Nazis were partisans and exaggerated of course – putting a beautiful Aryan next to an ugly non-Aryan. But it was their nation and they wanted people to be proud after being slandered for decades by the Globalists.

Hitler admitted that Jesse Owens actually won and was willing to shake his hand. Jesse Owens said he was stopped from going up to him. Then the media castigated Hitler. Even then they were utterly evil.

        • Paula D July 6, 2024 at 12:55 pm #

Our ancestors didn’t survive because they were smart, they survived if they made it through childhood diseases, and managed to hit reproductive age.

In other words, we are the product of millions of years of creatures with strong immune systems, including the last 10,000 years of “civilization” among some humans.

Odd that people who realize that when it comes to surviving bioweapons, forget it when it comes to the breeders of today.

          • hmuller July 7, 2024 at 11:14 am #

Paula, you are correct. Childhood diseases and dirty water killed half the population before a healthy immune system could fully function. That was true regardless of the child’s IQ level.

It’s also true that some ethnic groups test higher or lower (as a group) on IQ.

            These are not contradictions.

          • Jarek July 7, 2024 at 1:09 pm #

And then the really smart group cleaned up its water and sanitation systems, and their population exploded.

But of course being smart is not being wise. Out of their goodness, they did the same for other groups. Then they actually opened their borders to them. What absolute foolishness. Very low WQ.

Recently a Nobel prize winner said that you owe your own people more than you owe others. That’s something everyone used to know. Now you have to read a intellectual pinnacle to throw off the evil Marxist/Christian conditioning.

        • Jarek July 7, 2024 at 12:48 am #

You were wrong about intelligence not being genetic. So you respond by saying it doesn’t matter. Wrong again. You’re certainly good at being wrong.

Civilization is designed to protect the weak in stature from the predator classes. It is an imperfect but necessary requirement for humanity to exist…not humans, but humanity. Yes, there are flies in the ointment…Canadian Anarchists, Nuns with rulers, the human predilection for sloth, etc. Soft times breed weak men….

  28. JLHightower July 5, 2024 at 1:58 pm #

“…lthat is exactly the consequence of our news media’s craven, dishonorable, degenerate behavior the past decade. [i.e., ‘downfall and punishment’ …emphasis mine]

They have disordered our nation’s consensus about reality with peremptory lying about everything, in service to a political party that lies to its citizens about everything. The big question is: who or what recruited them into serving the Party of Chaos, and why did they go along?”

Well, the answer to that last question is easy… Satan, the great Deceiver, the father of all lies (according to Jesus Christ, the Son of God… see John 8:44 KJV).

Most folks find it hard to grasp the concept that this world system has more than just physical rulers acting upon it… there are spiritual forces as well, interdimensional beings moving and working behind the scenes to effect their will on this world, and NOT for our good!

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” –Ephesians 6:12 KJV

There is a fascinating story told in the Old Testament about two kings… one is good King Jehoshaphat of the kingdom of Judah, and the other is evil King Ahab of the kingdom of Israel. The nation that had thrived under King David and for many years under his son, Solomon, until his many strange wives led him away from the God of his father, had been rent in two… two tribes, Judah and Benjamin, remained as a legacy to King David and came to be known as simply Judah… the remaining 10 tribes, which never returned to following the precepts of their God, were simply known as Israel.

Now these two kings had come together to join forces for war. The good king (Jehoshaphat) had no business hooking up with the evil king (Ahab), so being a bit cautious, he wanted a REAL prophet of God to provide some counsel regarding their war plans, and not just the boot-licking ‘yes men’ prophets that Ahab had on staff!

Well Ahab had one on hand, to be sure… in the dungeon… because he despised the guy… for always telling the TRUTH! ? His name was Micaiah, but when Micaiah was brought in, he initially mocked Ahab by parroting the feel-good message Ahab’s phony prophets had just spit out… “Yes, go up, O King! Victory shall be yours! Woo-hoo!”

Ahab was furious… he knew this was NOT the Micaiah he was used to… Ahab blasted back, “How many times shall I adjure thee that thou say nothing but the truth to me in the name of the Lord?”

And, of course, Micaiah did… Death and destruction awaits you and your army, King Ahab… death and destruction… but the most revealing thing was what he shared afterwards… a glimpse into the portals of heaven itself and the events that occurred that would cause Ahab to IGNORE the warning from Micaiah… here’s what Micaiah said:

“…Therefore hear the word of the Lord; I saw the Lord sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left. And the Lord said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And one spake saying after this manner, and another saying after that manner. Then there came out a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will entice him. And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the Lord said, Thou shalt entice him, and thou shalt also prevail: go out, and do even so. Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil against thee.” –II Chronicles 18:18-22 KJV

Like I said, the mainstream, opposition media LIES because they are controlled by outside, unseen, interdimensional spiritual forces.

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” –Galatians 6:7 KJV

    • messianicdruid July 5, 2024 at 4:39 pm #

“…the remaining 10 tribes, which never returned to following the precepts of their God, were simply known as Israel.”

      Never say never.

“I will also appoint a place for My people Israel and will plant them, that they may live in their own place and not be disturbed again, nor will the wicked afflict them any more >>> as formerly <<< , even from the day that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel; and I will give you rest from all your enemies…”

      America is the place.

  29. Roundball Shaman July 5, 2024 at 2:31 pm #

Resident Biden has become the perfect symbol of the health (or lack thereof) of The Indispensable Nation in Century 21. Barely functional, heavily delusional… with seemingly a short time ahead of itself.

It’s a sad thing when any elder has such obvious difficulty in functioning. Time conquers all. And that includes our bodies and minds.

But when Time begins to have its way with us… the hour has arrived that changes must be made pronto and harsh realities faced without fear or fantasy. Resident Biden at present – and this handlers and lackeys and hangers-on – wont do that of course because they enjoy their high place slopping at the Public Trough and would rather force a non-functional elder into the public space than give up their selfish bounties.

And so at this moment Resident Biden and his various handlers and lackeys and hangers-on cannot and will not be the adults in the room — yet. So this falls upon We the People to see with clear eyes and freedom from agendas to know what must happen in this dark hour for US Incorporated. And we will let the Dems know they are on a course of doom.

At some point, even the Deluded Dems will convince The Resident that it’s time for him to ‘Beat Medicare!’ from some nice and quiet retreat somewhere on the Delaware Shore. Not that the Dems will do this because it’s the right thing to do. No, it’s back to bare-faced blatant and egotistical self interest again as many Dems do not want tor risk being obliterated on the ballot in November by an American voting public that has seen enough senility already.

And so, it’s on to the next great avatar for The Indispensables – a ‘Woman of Color!’. (There are two obvious choices here).

American Society in total is in the process of being fully surrendered to Anyone But a White Person. And so, Anyone But a White Person must now head the ticket for the Deludedables.

And since US Incorporated has operated for the last four years without a competent figurehead… there’s no reason we would need one now once The Resident has been ushered out of the race and into his sand-chair.

Didn’t Earn It. That’s the ticket for the New America. Merit and earning something is so… 19th and 20th Centuries. And where did that get us? Well, just about everywhere. But no one cares about that any more. Today it’s all about the worship of Tribalism For Agenda along with the assigning of Tribes that must be rewarded for failing and other Tribes that must be punished for… working and succeeding.

Get yourselves ready for the post-America after November when the nation becomes even more angry, divided, and dysfunctional.

You can try to ignore Karma. But Karma will never ignore YOU… as an individual… and as a Nation.

And even the Deludedables will see that one day very soon.

Tulsi claims to be a “woman of color.”

      Does she qualify?

      Asking for a friend…

      • Roundball Shaman July 5, 2024 at 3:17 pm #

C.O.Jones: “Tulsi claims to be a ‘woman of color’. Does she qualify?”

Not if she’s Trump’s VP. She better not be such for that particular crowd.

Side Point: For Light-Skin-Toned Males today you had better self-identify yourself as a WOC if you plan on having any kind of future in WokeAmerica and The World.

Either that… or the fact that the whole human species seems to have originated in Africa means that ALL persons are ‘Of Color’.

Nice! That should put a quick end to Terminal Wokeness.

        Now, back to Merit everyone!

        Same question for Kamala Harris.

        • Roundball Shaman July 5, 2024 at 5:22 pm #

MiTurn: “Same question for Kamala Harris.”

If one believes that incessant giggling and perceptual smirking are the attributes of ‘A Woman’… then ‘she’ would well-indeed qualify as a ‘woman’. Or is that an insult now to call someone the true biological sex that they were born as (and always will be?).

Not to mention that sometimes a decision is made to use one’s certain ‘talents’ when necessary in their quest to have a ‘Career’ and do what it takes to ‘Get ahead’.

Or, in the word of Bob Dylan…

          “Just Like a Woman”

‘You fake just like a woman
You make love just like a woman
Then you ache just like a woman
But you break just like a little girl’

      • malthuss July 5, 2024 at 5:18 pm #

      • Paula D July 5, 2024 at 7:37 pm #

Tulsi doesn’t make a big deal out of her womanhood or her skin tone.

I think she brought it up in 2020, when Kamala Harris dropped out, and the msm uniformly announced, sadly, that there were no more women in the race, let alone women of color.

That is when Tulsi tried to point out that she was still in the race, but if a tree falls in the forest and the media ignores it…………

All of the above. JHK gives us two brilliant essays per week and then we exercise free speech in the public that he graciously hosts for us. The whole thing is archived as significant history. If Jim (or his tech guy) runs over-redundant backups (super efficient bit-wise on account of it’s only text (and no graphics)), historians will find their copy very intriguing as to what was said here (and when). It will undoubtedly be a vital source.

That said, good to see ya, Breck. I hope that you pop in more often.

Set a spell. Take yer shoes off. Y’all come back now, y’hear?

This post brings up a very important matter. I signed up last week to buy Jim a coffee each month. My Mastercard just got hit for the first recurring bill. C$4.88. Per month. I’m no Rockefeller but I can sure scrape that together each month to pay a small share for what Jim does for us.

Tech resources don’t grow on trees. If you have not yet, please consider buying Jim a coffee/month (or a dinner/month at a 5-star restaurant if you’re so inclined). The man seriously deserves it after putting out his top-notch reporting and opinion and then letting us yahoos loose.

  32. kellycat July 5, 2024 at 4:30 pm #

Omg…..you are magnificent in your description of the REALITY WE ARE LIVING IN…..yes indeed.

    TRUMP’S win will be a win-win.
A win for us his followers and admirers who think his ability to have an intact normal family with NO drugs anywhere…is actually ADMIRABLE..
AND it’s a win for our country.

The turnaround is going to be so great —so successful —that it will make the USA the capital of the world. Not literally but by a spirit of righteousness and hard work ability to choose good over evil and fixing a wrong and making it right for its citizens.

We will be so happy that the devil (Obama and friends)will be gone.. we will prosper with God given resources and and plain old American gumption and determination to rid our country to illegal immigrants, and manufacture our own goods, get rid of the department of education, restore our freedom of speech, freedom from want, freedom of religion and freedom from fear, and make America great again with enough ingenuity to fix what has been broken by the party of deceit.

America deserves to be the admiration of the world. We are living in the only country in the world that has truly provided human rights to all who lived here. It was providing its citizens the balance of power no other country has ever had, a constitution that protected us from lawlessness, and it allows its citizens to have weapons to protect our country from the takeover of our government by nefarious groups. It holds a unique place in the history of the world. We have a lot of work to do but we aren’t afraid of doing it.

America will have a relationship with the world that is based on truth, integrity, security, honesty, and peace. It will include all the good aspects of wealth with humility by the acknowledgement that all power has been bestowed on our country by the Creator, who is the only ONE GOD behind all the scenes – allowing the democrats to expose themselves and prove on their own, how horrendous and murderous psychopaths they really have always been. He will show the world how evil can fool, trick and kill people by deceiving them into taking poisons into their bodies thinking the government cared about them, and instead it shortened their lives. They ultimately chose to trust humans instead of God. The fear of God is not part of the human current experience. But now all will know God exists and without God at the center of our lives, we will be miserable and without a rudder.

There is a certain sort of satisfaction however, that goes along with this predicament. The women I used to know who fit into the category of unhinged supporters of anyone but Trump will now have to endure the return of DADDY! And as they WAKE UP TO THE TRUTH, will have to realize that they were duped into taking the jabs….all of them including the boosters. Their determination to install anyone but Trump has turned on them and bit them in the ass.
They were ready to punish anyone who wouldn’t get jabbed, such as myself. I was gossiped about and told I wasn’t welcome back. Glad to get rid of me BUT they became the people who got rid of themselves.

O well, there is a God of Justice and Righteousness and He is everywhere, knows all, sees all, hears all, and no one can hide from Him. He will not allow His creation to be destroyed by evil people.

In fact though, you ended your piece with a statement quite chilling and threatening. The tiger is being cornered and when a force with great power is cornered -WATCH OUT.

I hope that the Tiger turns out to be Trump. God willing, he will be quite powerfully enabled when restored to the presidency. I hope this time he destroys the darkness with the swiftness of a gazelle.

Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. That’s my motto.

  33. GoldenRoad July 5, 2024 at 5:54 pm #

    Laughing my ass off.

“Despite all that, Mr. Trump raised five kids successfully. The grown ones had careers and they all visibly loved him.”

Went to Penn – Know lots of people who know Tiff and Don Jr. Nothing successful about them. Only difference between them and Hunter is that the drug problem is kicked for one of them. Eric is an idiot. Ivanka is the only success – no surprise given the raging misogynist who raised her. Kunstler is also one so makes sense.

There is literally nothing manly about Trump. A well known dandy and germaphobe. Well documented that Don Jr and Eric had to go to Europe to find manly role modeling in Ivana’s father.

    Literally twisted.

I wonder how long this archetypal struggle session is going to last? I have stuff to do you know lol. But it is a really good question? Why did they suddenly allow “Joe Biden’s” dementia into the metaconversation. At the same time he says he isn’t dropping out and that narrative is being promoted at one and the same time. So what is the distraction is what i’m thinking. What is it that they don’t want us to see. They’re shutting farms down everywhere and maybe engineering a famine. Like there is so much they could be doing.

    • stelmosfire July 5, 2024 at 6:57 pm #

SSL , where are the farms shutting down? Around here the CSA farm memberships are all sold out. It seems people are flocking to local agriculture. The farms are all going full tilt. I’m in the Pioneer Valley and the loam is thick. Last year the farms got flooded and they said it was a catastrophe. Just Ma Nature replenishing the good top-soil. The assholes don’t even know where the soil comes from. Perhaps people see the advantage of going local and organic?

      • MiTurn July 5, 2024 at 7:21 pm #

“Last year the farms got flooded and they said it was a catastrophe. ”

When mother nature does mother-nature things, but which are unknown or unexpected within one’s own brief lifetime it becomes exceptional. Thus the only reason for such events is “climate change.”

Gangbusters this year, just enough rain, not too much, a sprinkle here and there with just a few downpours, some good heat and mostly average temps. Lots of humidity it seems., which I hate but the plants love that shit. A little extra CO2 and we’re off to the races.

      • SoftStarLight July 6, 2024 at 2:01 am #

I’ve read that ranchers and farmers have been shut down all over in various states for different reasons for a while. Maybe that narrative is not quite accurate? Or maybe your area is an outlier? Floods are a major pain in the patootie but it is true that they naturally replenish the soil. We had a very wet winter and so far the rain this summer is around average and my neighbors garden is flourishing.

It’ll be 2020 all over again if the voting machines and rigged state voting apparatus has not changed. They’re putting Biden out there and laughing because they know they’ve got it rigged. Very little has changed in the swing states. The polls scream “Trump.is leading” but the wise know politics are scripted by unseen forces and a Biden victory will deal a blow that’ll crush the heart and mind of Maga.
Do you really think the elite don’t know their candidate is a demented buffoon?
    Beware of hopium.

    • C.O.Jones July 5, 2024 at 10:42 pm #

Permit me another musical analogy Legend:

When Led Zeppelin proposed an album – remember those? – that didn’t have the name of the band on the cover, the record company went nuts. Peter Grant, the band’s manager told the execs to relax and that he could sell Led Zeppelin albums in a brown paper bag. A few years later, a Led Zeppelin album came out in a brown paper bag – and it sold.

The people running “Joe Biden” know he’s a demented buffoon and are exhibiting the same sort of hubris. They laugh every time this old man publicly poops his pants and it’s just not funny. They are laughing at the fact that he’s still considered a viable candidate by millions of people.

I really think the only reason he’s still considered a viable candidate is that he’s running against one of the most despised people anyone can name – Donald Trump. The handlers are laughing at the challenge of getting a senile, incontinent, incoherent geriatric elected. They feel like it would be a close race between a rutabaga and Donald Trump and they’re right. Such is the hatred for Trump.

If Biden had to debate RFK Jr he would lose the election 500 electoral votes to 38.

      • JohnAZ July 6, 2024 at 9:15 am #

The most despised by one side and the most loved by the other.

His supposed persona is a product of the most concentrated blitz by the American press-

Trump, by himself, has created MAGA. Think about that-

Think about what the Leftist Deep State is saying when they condemn MAGA, what are they really condemning, what do they really hate?

        • C.O.Jones July 6, 2024 at 8:22 pm #

          Good point, JohnAZ.

I remember well when elected individuals and TV talking heads claimed that America was never great and that Trump was evil personified for saying MAGA.

This gave rise to the opinion, stated by the current ‘resident and many other elected people that white people who support Trump are the greatest threat to democracy the world has ever seen.

To momentarily buy into the Hegelian Dialectic, think about what the Rightist Deep State is saying: insert Trump platform talking points here.

Do you think for a minute that Trump is actually going to do anything but promote the deep state while claiming to do away with it?

Outside of his jingoistic blather, what has he done to make you think he is against the deep state?
Print money like it’s his job?
Let his WEF Young Leader daughter and her husband make critical decisions?
Finance the military industrial complex like it’s never been financed?
Take million dollar checks from Pfizer?
Step aside while his deep state appointees lock down the country?
Get his corpulent backside kicked by the likes of Pelosi?
Appoint a Pfizer board member and WEF troll as his top advisor?

He will obey his deep state owners just as he did in his first and hopefully only term.

I don’t want a president who is controlled by the deep state. I want a president willing to risk his life to destroy the deep state and liberate the United States. That is what it would take to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN and it darn sure isn’t DJT.

‘It’s hard to see how the Democratic Party might survive, too, no matter who they finally put up for election this year.’ JHK

Hope you are right, Jim, but a Fox news poll a few days ago had Trump leading Harris by only two points if she were the candidate. You wonder about those polls. Trump has said that they’re ‘trash’.

Considering what the Democrats have done over the last eight years the presidential race is still insanely close. Biden is now declaring himself the brave fighter who won’t give up, throwing shade on Trump’s magnificent pugnacity over all these years. He is truly ‘The Great Pretender.’

    Then this:

‘The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Friday that officials can place ballot drop boxes around their communities in this fall’s elections, overturning its own ruling two years ago limiting their use in the presidential swing state.

The court limited the use of drop boxes in July 2022, ruling then that they could be placed only in local election clerks’ offices and no one other than the voter could return a ballot in person.

Conservatives controlled the court at that time, but Janet Protasiewicz’s election victory in April 2023 flipped the court to liberal control. Seeing an opening, Priorities USA, a progressive voter mobilization group, asked the court in February to revisit the decision.’

It is now time to prepare to grow the ballots, to nurture them, to harvest them in giant bales and bundles, it is now time to plant that seed of subterfuge and watch it sprout into a long, long, long-term victory.

    The Guardian

Israel has approved the largest seizure of land in the occupied West Bank in more than three decades, according to a report released by an Israeli anti-settlement watchdog, a move that will exacerbate the escalating tensions surrounding the conflict in Gaza.

Peace Now said authorities recently approved the appropriation of 12.7 sq km (nearly 5 sq miles) of land in the Jordan valley, indicating it was “the largest single appropriation approved since the 1993 Oslo accords”, referring to the start of the peace process.

Settlement monitors say the recent land acquisition links Israeli settlements along a crucial corridor adjacent to Jordan, a development they say threatens the formation of a future Palestinian state.

Israel occupied the West Bank, capturing it from Jordan, in the six-day war of 1967. Since then, successive governments have made efforts to permanently cement Israeli control over the land, in part by declaring large swathes as “state lands”, which prevents private Palestinian ownership.

The recent land seizure, which was approved late last month but only publicised on Wednesday, comes after the seizure of 8 sq km of land in the West Bank in March and 2.6 sq km in February.

Peace Now says the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and far-right finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, “are determined to fight against the entire world and against the interests of the people of Israel for the benefit of a handful of settlers”.

UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric called it “a step in the wrong direction,” adding that “the direction we want to be heading is to find a negotiated two-state solution”.

Jarek: Never waste a crisis, especially a pre-meditated one.

Do not give a damn about the UN, as neither does BRICS+. The UN is globalist West, currently being torn down by BRICS. Bibi will keep going until the war capability of the surrounding areas is gone and will stay gone. No more pussyfooting around, re-arming during ceasefires. My guess is that once the Arab war machines are destroyed, Israel will annex the areas to halt further re-arming.

It does remind me of Hitler in Mein Kampf and his desire to expand Germany by eliminating other people groups and placing them with Aryans.

Actually it appears that the UN is extremely important to BRICS. Both Russia and China have talked about the importance of international bodies like the UN and maintaining an international order. They simply prefer that order to not be dominated by the West.

          • JohnAZ July 6, 2024 at 10:26 am #

When the west declines, the UN is going with it.

BRICS+ will put up their own organization to take its place as more and more countries join up.

The UN with the Security Council has always been a tool of the Allies from WW2, the winners. That was the last Fourth Turning. The collapse of the UN will be part of the next global Fourth Turning.

The EU’s formation was an attempt by Europe to separate themselves from the USA’s influence. Their continuing re-affiliation with Russia, after finding out how stupid the US sanctions are, will be the downfall of both NATO and the EU allowing Europe to re-nationalize. Trump’s victory will grease the skids on this.

On the other side, Mexico is starting to show independence from the USA. I watched a You Tube on Mexico drifting anti-USA towards BRICS+. In it the fact was brought out that China is avoiding Trump’s 10% tariff on China goods by sending goods through Mexico, either directly or by manufacturing them there. The NAFTA leftover sends them across the border with no tariffs. Then add on the drug traffic, a huge amount. I was shocked to find out that more manufacturing is done in Mexico, than the USA. Oh boy, what that SOB did to us. That is why the superpower race will never evolve to nukes, it does not have to. Right now, the Deep State powers are pushing the idea through their press that Putin is going to blast us with nukes, just think who the source of that is. Putin is having a ball feeding threats into the news cycle, knowing that his siege (that IS what it is) of Ukraine will bring Z (or his successor) to the table. The little tiny bits of success the media loves to propagate about Ukraine does not mount to a hill of beans.

Two fourth turning wins coming soon, both influenced by the election here. The Biden’s are going to lose their family Ukraine fortune when Russia and Ukraine finally give up, and Israel is going to annex the problem areas of Lebanon and Gaza to stop the re-arming.

Russia will NOT be giving up anything, least of all any territory they’ve liberated in Ukraine. It won’t be just the Biden’s who will be losing family fortunes. Once the dollar is kicked to the side of the road – landing in a muddy ditch, and the dollar has been inside that can we’ve been kicking for a number of decades now – fortunes will be lost everywhere and living standards will plummet in the USA.

Israel won’t be annexing Lebanon, and the situation in Gaza is a big stalemate at the moment. Once the USA is officially bust and experiencing severe turmoil and social chaos at home, Israel’s support will dry up and blow away. There will be a new diaspora and residents of Israel with dual passports and access to their native countries will simply pack up and go back home. End of story. This won’t be the ending wished by fundamentalist Christians, too bad for them.

Just a short video with a listing of those promises. I have to admit that I…peed a little bit during the video. Yeah.

Will he do it? CAN he do it? What is important is that he is saying these things, and a promise made is a debt unpaid…. He may try. He may fail. He may be destroyed in the attempt to complete this agenda.

But considering the platitudes, the projected vomitus of other politicians, it sounds like a call to arms.

Did he promise all of those things? It is the Internets…who the hell knows?

@ JohnAZ Lincoln was a dictator who essentially destroyed our first republic. He needlessly caused an immense amount of suffering by promoting and starting a civil war that could have been avoided by using real diplomacy, telling the truth, and learning the art of minding one’s own business. Somehow this ugly old liar and grifter got turned into a mythical hero and a demigod.

The USA has been badly damaged by all the many many decades of lying to ourselves about our “Holy War” we experienced back in the 1860’s. When we gloriously defeated ourselves in a great victory.

Benr. John Kennedy from Louisiana, Republican.

Yep, Lincoln did all that. Suspended habeas Corpus and all.

Exactly how would you keep things in control when your next door neighbor or brother even would blow your head off.

            Just like now, almost, BTW.

He did not start the war, or even promote it. One of the things he has been condemned for is his statement that he would NOT abolish slavery if the South just stayed in the Union. Remember the Douglas debates, a house divided cannot stand. He did not even “free” the slaves until 1863.

Real diplomacy, are you effing kidding me? Fifty years of flipping diplomacy led the USA right into the CW1. Minding own business? C’mon, you know what the war really was? The South and England had a decades old economic union and were in competition with the manufacturing North. The South was very content with things the way they were, agrarian.

            One more, slaves.

If someone stole all your savings, your investments and in one fell swoop, made them disappear, would you put up a fuss?

Slaves were the agrarian South’s capital pool. When the slaves were freed the South’s wealth disappeared and it is still recovering from that in the Deep South.

Lincoln threatened all that by siding with the North’s viewpoints.

Was the fear of the nuts on both sides warranted? You better believe it. Less than a week after the South surrendered, Lincoln was shot and attempted murders of Johnson, Seward and Stanton occurred.

“Exactly how would you keep things in control when your next door neighbor or brother even would blow your head off.”

Lincoln provoked the attack on Fort Sumter by re-supplying the fort instead of packing up and heading north, which is what he should have done. Charleston harbor was a place where tariff duties were collected from ships coming in. The fort was there to enforce the collection of tariffs. It seems the intent of the Union was to continue collecting taxes in what was at that time a different sovereign nation. Of course that would be unacceptable to the CSA, what else would anyone expect?

Lincoln deliberately provoked an attack, and when it came, he went crying and whining about it in order to inflame the public into supporting warfare. We’ve been doing this ever since our “civil war”. We provoked Russia into military action in Ukraine, and then we cry and whine when Russia responds. It’s the same game, and the world is slowly figuring it out.

And there it is another Apologist for Russia.

Putin knows the game and also knows the grifting going on in Ukraine.
This has zero to do with Russian speaking citizens and everything to do with resources yet again nevermind the excuse used to go in.
Putin knows how much money is being sucked out of Ukraine and wants some for himself.
Money, drugs, oil, minerals, women and yep them little kids.
In five years Ukraine will be an even larger sex trafficking region for young ladies.
This is why the Biden crime family most Democrats and even a fair number of rinos are so keen on keeping control even at the cost of a possible WW3 event.

Talk is cheap. I can’t imagine him doing much of anything for Whites. Halfway through his term he said he wanted “all of these people here because the economy is so good”. He does seem serious about helping Blacks -making him a mainstream system politician.

Same thing on the side of the aisle. Biden said to Black Leaders: Whites are finished (those words exactly). You have to learn to get along with the Hispanics because they’re going to be the majority (something like that).

I’d love to see the mass deportation but that undertaking would face enormous problems. Cost. Labor shortages in agriculture and construction. (American worker, where art thou?). Extreme protest by the Left on what they would call ‘Hitlerian’ methods. Housing and controlling those rounded up.

Most importantly, Trump had better start gathering up a lot of hefty law enforcement and military support. Can he do so? Probably not. Outside of the Civil War, it would probably cause the greatest internal turmoil this country has ever seen.

Nullification of the Obama clan may be even more important. We all know who’s running the country and who has put it in grave danger. Many say that this Obama group deserves imprisonment at least, but then there’s due process and the stumbling block of the Constitution.

What about rounding up and prosecuting Mayorkas, Garland, the Bidens, etc.

It’s an ambitious agenda, and sad to say, I doubt that Trump could ‘pay much of the debt’.

Damn! Now you are beginning to sound like Napoleon! After France had literally worn itself out with years of post revolutionary chaos, Napoleon decided to change the minds of these types of “protestors” by giving them what he called “a whiff of grapeshot”. My guess is that loading up some big canons with the equivalent of sacks full of ball bearings, and firing into disorderly mobs with it – well, that will bring law and order back in a hurry. At least it seemed to have worked for Napoleon. That would be the equivalent of blowing up a cluster bomb above a crowded beach.

As for fighting with armies of angels and St. Michael by our sides – damn dude – lay off the mushrooms and the DMT……….

Do you realize that with the appropriate actions, the USA could re-invent itself without firing a shot.

OG, I remember when the truckers in Canada tried to right things by cutting deliveries to the cities and rolling into Ottawa, or at least trying to. Trudeau cut off their bank accounts, right.

The truckers and other affiliated Red folks could just cut off the cities. It would take 3 days for things to collapse for our Blue brothers. Let them riot, let them burn down their cities, they will be rebuilt when the Change happens.

Every one fears the New World Order from the Left, why not have a New World Order from the Right?

        No not Napoleon,

Washington, Franklin, Adams, both of them, Hamilton, Madison, all the Founders that realized separation from England was the only way to get their liberty.

          @ JohnAZ

“Washington, Franklin, Adams, both of them, Hamilton, Madison, all the Founders that realized separation from England was the only way to get their liberty.”

Complete nonsense. Our revolution was over minor issues that would be completely irrelevant today. Canada never rebelled against the British Crown and never had any of these “freedom” issues.

We thought some minor taxation from England justified fighting and dying in a rebellion and revolution. So we got our “freedom” and then the new nation turns around and passes laws taxing whiskey, followed by the Whiskey Rebellion. It’s ok to rebel against England. It’s not ok to rebel against the US. Why?

Heckifiknow. That’s just the way it is.

    About them Russian glide bombs…

Since Jan ’24, russia has dropped 3,000 guided bombs on Ukraine.

    Only 100 landed in russia.

The guided bombs landing in Ukraine have killed 174 innocent civilians in May ’24 alone and have destroyed 50% of Ukraine’s power generation capability since the start of the year.

In its latest report, the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine said there have been 30,457 civilian casualties since 24 February 2022. This comprised 10,582 killed and 19,875 injured

Where are the bleeding-heart dimwits lamenting the death of innocent Ukrainian civilians?

Is it because they are white people you don’t care?
Come on guys these are women and children being murdered by heartless Russians!
Is it because the Marxist social media has not told you to worry about them?

    • JohnAZ July 6, 2024 at 10:51 am #

Maybe because the Biden Mob “owns” Ukraine and refuses to give up their money and influence.

War seems to, again, be the only way that enemies can settle their differences. And there will always be differences, it is human nature.

      What is war? Legalized murder!

Are those the same bleeding-heart dimwits that favor abortion?

      What is abortion? Legalized murder!

The Mighty Wurlitzer blames Russia when Ukraine bombs its own civilians.
They also had a mighty media propaganda campaign when Russia left Bucha, and 3 days later they found dead bodies lying in the streets.

Meanwhile, in a Czech courtroom, a mercenary talks about how they were turned loose in Bucha after the Russians pulled out.

June 28th- Several ‘aircraft type’ drones were destroyed over Bryansk while many villages in Kursk suffered shelling and drone attacks. In Rylsky district of Kursk, a drone attacked a house killing five people, including 2 small children. A little girl and her grandfather were taken to hospital in serious condition. Later, the little girl of four died of her wounds. Nine drones were suppressed by EW in the border regions on this day. In the DPR, 2 civilians were killed and 4 wounded by drones and shelling.
June 29th-Three civilians were injured in Belgorod by kamikaze drone attacks on their cars.
June 30th-Two civilians were injured by drone attack in the village of Bogun Gorodok (Belgorod) while four rescue workers were injured by shelling in Donetsk. According to another report, four civilians, including two children, were injured by 155mm shelling in Donetsk and Gorlovka.
July 1st-Belgorod came under attacks from shelling and drones overnight killing two civilians and injuring nine – according to the Two Majors. Many villages in Kursk also came under attack from shelling and drones but no casualties were reported. Finally, in the DPR one person was killed and another 5 injured by shelling.
July 2nd- A bakery in Belgorod was attacked killing two and injuring several others. Many villages in Belgorod and Kursk were attacked overnight damaging houses and cars but causing only two casualties.
On this day, the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant came under attack cutting off electricity to many in the Ernogodar region. Eight workers who were engaged in repair work after the previous attack were injured.
July 3rd-Three civilians were injured in Belgorod by a ‘drone drop’ on their house while a truck driver working in a field was also injured. In another village, a woman was injured when a kamikaze drone attacked her house while in Shebekino three civilians were injured by shelling. Kursk also suffered drone attacks and shelling but no casualties were reported. 13 drones were suppressed over the border regions during the day while in the DPR, 3 civilians were injured by shelling.
July 4th-Belgorod suffered shelling and ‘drone drops’ onto civilian cars which injured six. Kursk also suffered ‘drone drops’ onto cars and houses but only one civilians was injured. The DPR was less fortunate, suffering one fatality and three wounded.

Remember that Belgorod and Kursk are in pre-2022 Russia. So the Kiev regime is killing citizens in the Donbass, which it claims is still Ukrainian (hence: “Ukrainian civilians killed and wounded” per benr’s propaganda piece) AND in Russia.

And that was only in one week, the most recent week.
The nazis in Ukraine, with their NATO handlers, attack civilians every day. None of this is reported by the empire’s media, except to bundle the casualties occasionally, and call them Russian attacks.

I don’t get it. Africa in modern times particularly seems to go from one crisis to another. I’ve never been there so maybe I am all wet. Thousands/millions starving. Wars fought between ethnic groups/tribes. I don’t get what their beefs are.I know the westerns colonized them and brought civilization and modern infrastructure. The westerns colonized the New World and the place seems OK. Did we cause their suffering or did our modern ways cause them to procreate beyond their means. Would the dark continent be better off without us? I always told my kids that they were lucky they weren’t born in a mud hut. Asoka lived in a mud hut and thought it was the greatest thing.

          • Paula D July 6, 2024 at 4:38 pm #

I don’t know much about all the conflicts, either. But most human conflict is over resources. And yeah, there are probably too many people for the topsoil and water resources available to feed them. The problem is that they have a whole lot of resources to feed industrial societies. Not enough food, plenty of cobalt, makes for problems with the west.

Apparently, “we” don’t actually want the Africans to have infrastructure. What happened in South Africa doesn’t apply to the rest. The west might have divided up Africa in 1885 on the map only, but it took longer to get inside the Dark Continent. Lions and jungles and malaria, oh my. Looking it up, it seems they only had penetrated much the interior of by 1914.
            Was Africa better off?

Libya was going to set up an continent-wide bank to finance infrastructure.
Ghaddafi paid for a satellite to provide cell phone service to the continent, thereby cutting a French company out of hundreds of millions of dollars a year.
France was the first in line to bomb Libya in 2011.

Ghaddafi also built the Manmade River, in order to irrigate part of the Sahara Desert, providing food and also expanding the Sahel savannah.
NATO not only destroyed the River, they destroyed the factory that made the parts, so it couldn’t be fixed.

Apparently, there are plans to build a railroad across the Sahel, from Dakar, Senegal to the port of Sudan. I think the Chinese are involved.
Just like in Pakistan, “Islamic terrorists” have popped up to kill the railroad engineers and builders.
Africa never had Islamic terrorists until 30 years ago. Hmmmm.

France was paying Niger 80 cents per kilo of uranium, while the going rate is $123/kilo.

Meanwhile, Nigerans live in poverty and very few have electricity.

Everyone cared deeply about Rwanda. The propaganda was non-stop. People weren’t quite as worked up as they are over Gaza, but I remember it clearly, and they had people in an uproar.

The US blocked the UN from sending peacekeepers to stop it, even though no US troops would be involved. (That part wasn’t mentioned by the Mighty Wurlitzer.)

Then the US used the ensuing massacre to push their “Responsibility to Protect” bullshit, although that was 180 against the UN Charter, which calls for national sovereignty of each country, with no external interference in internal conflicts.

They also got people worked up about Darfur, Sudan (so that they could split the country into two countries), Kony 2012 (to put US troops into Sudan and Uganda), and “Save Our Girls” in Nigeria, in order to put US troops in Nigeria.

Get away from me with the “No one cares about black people” bullshit.

Americans care about what they are told to care about, and it doesn’t matter what color the purported victims are.

No doubt our aircraft carriers have been used to transport thousands…maybe hundreds of thousands of potential immigrants to their reward.

      • Jarek July 6, 2024 at 1:16 pm #

Do you agree with Ben that they are still relevant, militarily? Or with most, that they are moribund, good for target practice or at most, for transporting planes and even people.

Can they outrun a torpedo? Or an aerial torpedo or missile? Either can fired from ship, sub, or plane.

Yes, Ishi the Yahi Indian was not that great of a shot – not as good as the Whites with whom he hunted. But as a tracker and stalker he was far ahead of them. Perhaps no White man in thousands of years has had abilities like this.

He didn’t need to be a great shot – or to have a really strong bow.

The future is underwater drones. The Navy doesn’t need sailors any more.

          • benr July 6, 2024 at 4:28 pm #

And yet they will still have them for at least the next thirty years.

Fat sailors, who waddle even when on calm seas.

Extend our premis. Will a future war be fought from some enclave east of Colorado Springs one near Langley using joy sticks. Will drones be the substitutes for boots on the ground? How soon will nukes be on drones?

Well, guess what the main targets of any offensive will be? Knock out the drone centers and all we have is a bunch of subs, airplanes and tanks going around in circles. What would an EMP do to such situations, or jammers?

Just another high tech fiasco that in the real world will be worthless. It will always take soldiers, sailors, pilots and Marines to win wars. That realization will return with Trump as the DEI Mock troops will be forced out and real soldiers and sailors will be created. I hope Austen goes to jail for destroying America’s ability to fight and defend itself.

When the Navy decides to go “Into Harm’s Way”, we will find out. My opinion is that they will perform competently if well led.

And…and even one carrier group can expend more firepower than you can imagine. In fear of losing another appendage, I will suggest that they can bring the Wrath of God…they, themselves, alone, can completely destroy a country, if so ordered.

…IF there is the political will to do so.

No, they have their uses at the moment.
They are very expensive to make, move and upkeep.

    The Guardian

Robert F Kennedy Jr has made a startling pledge to not “take sides” with respect to the September 11 terrorist attacks if his long-shot presidential campaign vaults him to the White House.

“My take on 9/11: It’s hard to tell what is a conspiracy theory and what isn’t. But conspiracy theories flourish when the government routinely lies to the public,” Kennedy wrote on Friday in a post on X in reference to the deadliest terrorist attack ever aimed at the US. “As president I won’t take sides on 9/11 or any of the other debates.

“But I can promise … that I will open the files and usher in a new era of transparency.”

The attacks killed nearly 3,000 people in 2001 after terrorists hijacked and crashed passenger planes into New York’s World Trade Center, the Pentagon in Washington DC and a field in Pennsylvania.

Kennedy’s decision to revisit one of the most traumatic subjects in American history came just three days after the noted conspiracy theorist responded to an allegation that he sexually assaulted a babysitter previously in his employ by saying: “I’m not a church boy” and “I am who I am.”

Jarek: Full transparency? Obama promised that. And Trump promised to release a foot high stack of documents before he left office. It’s hard to believe at this point. I don’t believe him. I do believe he hit on the baby sitter. Was she of age? If not, the Kennedy charm saved him.

As Anglin said, In an alternate universe where he could get elected, he would flip on most of these promises upon being elected. You’d have to go to an alternate alternate universe to find an RFK who would follow through. Ditto a Trump.

He hits on babysitters. He takes steroids. A worm ate part of his brain. A drug addict in recovery.

    What else?

    • benr July 6, 2024 at 1:33 pm #

His voice is even more annoying than Bidens or Trumps.

    • Groundhog July 6, 2024 at 2:49 pm #

“the noted conspiracy theorist responded to an allegation that he sexually assaulted a babysitter previously in his employ by saying: “I’m not a church boy”…………”

Ironically nowadays being a “church boy” exposes you to significant risk of being either sexually assaulted or being in the process of being groomed for an assault. Somehow, the churches, both protestant and catholic, continue to provide us with news stories of pedophiles having infiltrated various churches and this using the organization as a way of gaining access to children. This failure needs to be addressed and questions need to be asked.

The question I would wish to ask RFK is this: “how old was the babysitter in question?” If she was 18 or over RFK gets to have a bit of fun acting out something he saw on Pornhub or something. In porn older guys get to have fun with their babysitters, just as their wives have fun with the plumber or the pool maintenance guy. If RFK is legit then I think its very poor taste to talk about him this way. If he’s a pedo then that changes things. Just because he’s not a hair sniffer and a groper like JB doesn’t mean RFK gets a pass.

      • Paula D July 6, 2024 at 4:41 pm #

        She was 23.

        • Jarek July 7, 2024 at 1:14 pm #

Nothing wrong with that! 23 is better than 32. Of course 23 was an old maid by early American standards.

    • Paula D July 6, 2024 at 4:44 pm #

RFK, Jr. promises to reopen the 9-11 investigation, and Americans respond by arguing about whether he hit on a babysitter.

See how the media controls the “national conversation”?

4,000 dead Americans vs Sexy Babysitter Goes Wild. What really happened? Inquiring minds want to know (what happened with the babysitter, not the dead Americans.)

Of course, Americans can be distracted that easily.

      • OG July 6, 2024 at 5:16 pm #

RFK, Jr. promises to reopen the 9-11 investigation, and Americans respond by arguing about whether he hit on a babysitter.

        A pithy observation.

btw – reopening 9/11 investigations is looking towards the Saudi’s involvement. Nary a mention in the article that I read about the “art students” or the dancing “document[ers]” or those that made tidy fortunes otherwise inexplicably shorting American and Untied Airlines’ stocks. [i.e. Limited hangout.]

        • Paula D July 6, 2024 at 9:01 pm #

Saudis are now on America’s shit list. Expect more if they actually cut off the oil (which they won’t).

But if they do, watch benr, JAZ, Tucson, etc., explode into righteous fury about those horrible Saudis. There will be long screeds about the horrible leaders they have.

What they do to women and gays! OMIGOD, it breaks the heart, and tears at the soul.

          Let’s kill them all!!!!

Maybe use one of those awesome aircraft carriers that can destroy a country.

You know, for the women and gays.

        • Paula D July 6, 2024 at 9:05 pm #

Or, as you say, there could be a sudden recognition that the Saudis totally did 9-11! (That was set up that way, 23 years ago, but then it went into sleeper mode, probably because the Saudis continued to cooperate on oil deals.)

But if they renege, it will suddenly be rediscovered.

          Who knew?

It’ll be like Biden’s dementia, a newly discovered fact that all pundits must pontificate about.

They are shocked, shocked! to find out that Saudis were involved.

          • Groundhog July 7, 2024 at 11:35 am #

How shocked will they be if it turns out the Pentagon was involved in “doing 9-11”? Most Americans are so poorly informed they think that somehow 2 planes brought down 3 skyscrapers.

          • Paula D July 7, 2024 at 2:05 pm #

We knew long ago that the Pentagon was involved in 9-11, but the media will never, ever suddenly discover that fact.

They still pretend that Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK all by himself, managing to make the kill shot, which came from the front, from 81 meters behind him.

AND that Sirhan Sirhan managed to shoot RFK in the back of head standing 6 ft in front of him.

It is amazing what the media can get the public to believe, and how long they can stick to impossible stories. It’s been 7 decades they have been telling the Oswald fable.

Two planes hit two towers and when one of the twin towers collapsed it literally took out a huge corner of the third building.
It also caused a fire in the third building. The third building started to fall over as a result of the instability and fires.
If one cares to actually look for it there are pictures showing the huge amount of damage done to the third building named building 7.

It has nothing to do with the American public’s knowledge or lack of it and everything to do with selling bullshit to eager idiots.

            No conspiracy here

Just like the idiots that said a missile hit the pentagon and not an aircraft.
No there are pictures showing one of the engines that survived the initial crash and one frame showing the tail section of the aircraft.
Yes, cameras back then had terrible framerates.

I also knew a lady that worked across the street at a DEA warehouse that physically watched the plane hit the building not realizing what she was seeing till it happened and had time to process it. What was she doing? Smoking a cigarette where she was not supposed to be.

The one conspiracy that happened here was they had intel from a jihadi training manual captured in the Philippines that discussed using fully fueled aircraft to hit skyscrapers.
It also discussed using emergency flares to start forest fires along major freeway corridors.

It could be argued they allowed it to happen, and Bill Clinton helped it along with his wall of separation limiting cross talk and information sharing across federal alphabet LEOS.

The pentagon had a hand in it?

            Paula stop being an idiot.

According to the basic laws of physics, that’s about as likely to have happened as somebody rising from the dead. But we no longer live in a society that understands or respects laws, whether they be scientific laws or constitutional laws.

The privileged, as well as the unwashed, do indeed, show interest in the nubile baby sitters. The point I am making is that the privileged do so without consequences, or, if there indeed be consequences, they can shrug off the effects.

It sets a pattern of conduct…the law and mores of the country apply to thee, not to me.

As an example, the privileged, as well as the unwashed would like to do blow off a $2000 per night hooker’s ass…who will suffer consequences for his actions?

These discussions about RFK and his 23 year old babysitter are so ridiculous and provincial. A 23 year old woman is an adult and what she and RFK do together is absolutely nobody’s business but theirs. Why cannot we collectively leave people alone and allow them some privacy? Why is garbage like this so important to people? Why are there liberals out there seemingly still bible thumping – worrying and obsessed about what Trump might or might not have done with Stormy Daniels.

Bavarian king Ludwig I was famous for the collection of portraits he had made of what he considered the most attractive women in his kingdom – he was a great enthusiast of good sex, good art, architecture, and feminine beauty. In 1826, the first in his collection of paintings was a 19 year old woman who was the daughter of his chief accountant. He had his court painter, Joseph Stieler, paint her portrait, and the king spent some time with her and did silly things like writing her poems. With his permission, Ms. Strobl married his chief forester and she lived happily ever after. After that came some three dozen other women over the years who were painted by Stieler, who was also well known for painting portraits of people like Beethoven, Goethe, etc. Some of these women were mistresses, others just friends. They were all exceptional and powerful women, including the notorious mother of emperor Francis Joseph, Sophie of Bavaria. It was Sophie, sometimes called “Tigress of Bavaria” who actually ruled the Habsburg empire for a few years because she totally controlled the men who ran it. The 36 portraits of what the king considered the best wimin around at the time are all hanging on the walls of a special room in Nymphenburg Palace called “Gallery of Beauties”. This room is a great hit with the tourists. Imagine a room in the white house dedicated to presidential girlfriends and the public loving it!

That’s the difference between Bavaria and the US. The Bavarian’s it seems aren’t nearly as upset, blue-nosed, and hysterical about sexual issues as we are in the US. Here, we still worry and obsess about the sex lives of our political leaders. We ask questions and obsess about affairs that are none of our business. If some president hung pictures of his girlfriends in a room in the White House – there would be no end of the blue-nosed hand wringing and religious hysteria.

Obviously, I know that the rich and powerful have a different set of rules, but only if they are not targets of our ruling overlords.

Hunter gets away with egregious felonies and sexual misbehavior (sleeping with his dead brother’s wife and daughter? Disgusting) while the media attacks RFK for allegations of normal male behavior decades ago.

This is the media attacking the candidate who could win, if allowed to state his case in that same media. Which will never happen.

They would never broadcast about an ordinary man making a pass at an ordinary woman.

It would be stupid anyway. When you were working as a cop, did you ever get a call where an ordinary woman complained that an ordinary man propositioned her?

That is absurd. This is a political witch hunt, and the fact that I have been drawn into discussing it pisses me off.

          • Groundhog July 7, 2024 at 2:26 pm #

@ Jarek I’m voting for RFK because of the baby sitter affair? Why wouldn’t I just be done with it and vote for Mr. Sniffy? At least RFK doesn’t get sexed up with family members. Whatever.

It seems that in catholic Europe, catholic kings could have mistresses and other affairs without inviting a lot of blow-back from the bluenoses. The pope did have the last say on a royal’s marital status, but generally speaking the popes didn’t seem to care much about mistresses. If the pope wouldn’t permit a royal divorce, then the only way to get your way back then was to give the pope the middle finger and endure excommunication. Or start yer own damn church like the Anglican.

The 3rd paragraph from Jim’s essay contained this phrase:
“ditching Ivana and his mid-life playboy reputation,”

I think a reader could misunderstand this phrase. It seems to be saying that among other things that turn people off to Trump are:

    1. the ditching of Ivana and
    2. the ditching of his mid-life playboy reputation

I don’t think Jim intended that understanding of #2.
