You know, of course, that the CIA’s job is to detect sinister doings in other countries, especially as they might affect our own country. Looks like they missed something lately in the spook-filled space between Iran and Israel. Do you suppose they’re too busy running Facebook? And their domestic companion, the FBI, has been working overtime for years now, between their mighty labors concocting RussiaGate and the current program to root out election deniers and other seditious riffraff — while millions of sketchy mutts from here, there, and everywhere in the world scuttle over our border with Mexico and decant across our fruited plains — with assistance, you understand, from our own border officials — and, yet, no questions asked. Here’s a free phone and an auto-refilling debit card. Have a nice day in Skokie, Plattsburgh, or wherever! And don’t forget to send in your court appearance forms by the 2030 deadline!

So, it came as a big surprise when southern Israel was overrun by Hamas dudes in tricked-out pickup trucks and para-gliders on Saturday, who carried home hundreds of nubile young women to have sport with, after slaughtering hundreds more people of all ages, like rampaging bronze age Philistines. That fresh enormity is, shall we say, quite a ways from resolution at this time. I’ll tell you what will be an even bigger surprise, though: when some organized unit of those aforesaid mutts of unknown origin who snuck across our border sets off something like a dirty bomb in New York, Los Angeles, or Washington DC. Or takes over a nuclear power station. Or… well, I wouldn’t want to put any ideas in a bad actor’s head. But you get the picture, I’m sure.

So, we’re in something that smells like uncharted territory this autumn Monday, and events are galloping faster than anyone can process. The scene looks a little bit like World War Three. At least any child of twelve could game it out that way in three easy steps. Say, the chief mullah in Teheran issues some crude remark about how Israel had it coming, yadda yadda … and the IDF forthwith fires a cruise missile up his qabaa… and next thing you know, so many mushroom clouds rise over the Levant that it looks like a shitake farm.

All this while the USA struggles to restore its political mental health after years of domestic abuse at the hands of our own government. A big question here is what kind of correction will it require to straighten out that abusive government… or can anything at all avail before having to shred the whole goshdarn operation and start over? Quien sabe? (As they say in Plattsburgh nowadays.)

I’m confident that Congress will sort out this new Speaker business in short order, now that the world appears to light up. But what of its current projects? For instance, the inquiry into the darkish business ventures of the Biden Family, Inc., and what to do about it? That look-see is tending toward a picture that shows an appalling connection between the Bidens’ lustful chasing of global main chances and the horrifying demolition of Ukraine currently ongoing. If it’s not already obvious to a majority of USA adults that “Joe Biden,” the cats-paw in the White House, must go, it will be in a matter of weeks as the bank records step into the spotlight and speak for themselves.

Are you ready for President Kamala and government-by-word-salad? E.g.: “It’s very important, as you’ve heard from so many incredible leaders, for us at every moment in time, and certainly this one, to seize the moment of time in which we exist, in our present, and be able to contextualize it, understand where we exist in history and in the moment as it relates not only to the past but the future,” she said. Doctoral dissertations will be penned explicating that mouthful for years to come (where and whenever those years might be located on time’s mystifying spectrum).

As for Congress and its grim duties, there is also the matter of the current laughable budget resolution running out again just before Thanksgiving. Work to do! The USA is in such a desperate debt and bond issuance dilemma that it’s like a trapped wild animal faced with having to chew off its own leg to escape death. And the cause of that dilemma is our legislature’s failure to control the nation’s spending. As America’s Venerable Bede, Sen. Everett Dirksen (d. 1969) used to say: “A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon you’re talking about real money.” Well, that game is drawing to a close. Reality is finally asserting its rugged old self to say that our country is as broke as broke can be and there has to be a painful adjustment. It will be presented as a Hobson’s choice: you can have no money… or you can have plenty of money that’s worthless. What’s it gonna be?

I’d guess that the new Speaker will have to be Mr. Jordan of Ohio, because at this time Congress badly needs to be led by someone who at least appears to be muscular and confident. One has to wonder, though, that even muscles and confidence might not be enough in the current situation — that moment of time in which we exist, as the Veep put it so well. And yet, so many things are happening at once that it feels like someone up there is monkeying with time itself. Or perhaps a giant blob has gummed up its wheels. But, really, I must ask: are you not a little tired of being a country that doesn’t know what it’s doing?

Please explain to me how Israel went soft as linguini? I always thought they were the toughest fighters on earth. 260 killed at a rave near the border with Gaza, full of young men and women – and not a single guard or firearm? Three guys with .22 rifles could have ended the Hamas paraglider troops before they landed?

    • The Man They Call Zazelle October 9, 2023 at 9:56 am #

Reality is not always what we are indoctrinated with.

    • Ron Anselmo October 9, 2023 at 9:59 am #

Yes Ishy – not the least bit al dente. Even the young men at the rave – early 20’s probably, the peak of masculinity – all running like scared children, not even a glance back for their women. Heaven help their women. Pathetic, no matter the culture. Male instinct is gone – extinct.

      • thirdcoastlegend October 9, 2023 at 10:09 am #

        This is the correct answer.

The reality is that the collective West is riven with softness and incompetence at all levels.

        • justanotherguy October 9, 2023 at 10:28 am #

most vacksed country on earth – not connection at all – jus’ sayin’

      • The Man They Call Zazelle October 9, 2023 at 10:15 am #

Actually, I had thought of that as a nickname; Alan Dente, or Al for short.

        • Disaffected October 9, 2023 at 10:42 am #

Al Dente? I was just wondering how that old boy was doing. Married some good looking chick named Linguine last I heard and they were busy raising a whole brood of young’ns. Great bloodlines.

          • The Man They Call Zazelle October 9, 2023 at 1:21 pm #

Life’s too short for deathly-serious nicknames, at least sometimes.

      • draupnir October 9, 2023 at 10:23 am #

The Koran recommends that young women who are captured alive be taken as slaves so that good sons and daughters of the Prophet may be bred upon them.

        • Ron Anselmo October 9, 2023 at 10:31 am #

Conversely, if you don’t provide for, protect, and take care of your women, your lineage will be a short one.

          • draupnir October 9, 2023 at 10:40 am #

Such women must, of course be provided for.

          • Ron Anselmo October 9, 2023 at 12:05 pm #

Protecting and caretaking, are providing for, so yes. Strong men understand this and raise strong sons to do the same. Long live their lineage.

          • Jarek October 9, 2023 at 12:42 pm #

Agree. But never allowed to vote.

          • megabeth October 9, 2023 at 2:17 pm #

Jarek: tie the franchise to real property, not sex.

          • Jarek October 9, 2023 at 3:35 pm #

Both are important, but change owning property to simple financial solvency so
men who want to vote don’t have to buy property when they are interested in doing so.

Add to that the test of knowledge of our history, heritage, and current events. Add to that a record of service and loyalty.

The higher you want to go, the steeper the requirements. Local, state, and federal.

        • jgalt October 10, 2023 at 11:05 am #

The entire Quran is full of nothing but thieving, murder, enslavement, and constant war against all non-believers in the sick islamic ideology. Their allegiance is to Allah and the dictates of the Quran, not to any Western country or its leaders, and will ever remain so long as they adhere to the dictates. To do other wise is apostasy which brings a death sentence, same as leaving islam to become a Christian or any other religion. The clear and present danger we face is from the eight million, mostly military aged men, increasing daily thanks to the Biden invite, and the internal threat of Quran adherents.

          • badberries October 12, 2023 at 10:17 am #

            Well put jgalt!

Who could resist the promises made in the Quran? that in the afterlife, Martyrs will receive 72 virgins all with the face of the Martyrs mother. Pretty tempting huh? (Yikes!)

            It’s a sick world.

Did you know that boys can become girls now and have babies and be mommies?
I’ve already booked my flight to the next iteration.

      • buckeyeman October 9, 2023 at 10:46 am #

Considering what “women” have become, I don’t find it surprising that the young “men” at this demonic “peace” concert would not waste a microsecond of their time to glance back.

        • BackRowHeckler October 9, 2023 at 12:30 pm #

          “… a music, peace & dance event.”

The irony is thick here, so very thick.

Apparently Hamas is well armed with US weaponry abandoned in Afghanistan, via the Iran ratline. I have also read tons of NATO weaponry is available on the dark web from Ukraine, not even uncrated, for pennies on the dollar.

          • PeteAtomic October 9, 2023 at 6:08 pm #

I’m sure the Chinese are feeling sufficiently cowed & impressed by the developments you cite there, BRH.

Isn’t that the newest explanation/validation for US involvement in the Ukraine??

      • Islander October 9, 2023 at 10:52 am #

Did you see the get-ups that some of those “men” were wearing?

Obvious these young-‘uns had no idea that they were inches away from the Gaza Fence.

        • Beryl of Oyl October 9, 2023 at 11:05 am #

They all took the Covid death-jabs… probably FUBAR’d their hormones, atrophied their testicles… so as to turn them into wimps while their arteries and brain-pans clog with fibrous clots…

        THAT is Israel’s real Armageddon…

      • Ishabaka October 10, 2023 at 5:58 pm #

Well – I saw two Israelis with the “Never again” spirit in videos. First, the guy who held off Hamas armed only with a pistol as 8 of his family escaped, then died in a hail of bullets. Second – kibbutz dog who ran at Hamas, took a hit from an AK and kept coming, and it took a second hit to stop it. The last fighting Israelis?

      • hortonz October 12, 2023 at 11:32 am #

Watching events unfold in the Middle East was terrifying enough. Knowing that the West, like Israel herself, was on its’ own and couldn’t rely on the support of the rest of the world, was even more terrifying. But watching the conflict play out in real time here in the once-peaceful Great White North was in violent demonstrations against Israel by pro-Palestinian supporters was enough to drive anyone to the insane asylum. Then came the news that inflation could hit double-digits by Christmas. Is it too late to build a bomb shelter?

    • 100th Avatar October 9, 2023 at 10:01 am #

      It is their Pearl Harbor
      Their 9-11

      It’s all right there.

      • Ron Anselmo October 9, 2023 at 10:09 am #

Exactly – using the same script – literally.

How stupid do they think we are?

        Don’t answer that.

        • hmuller October 9, 2023 at 10:47 am #

I spent 20 years in US Intell both human and electronic. I understand how Hamas would compartmentalize their plans on a need to know basis.

Still, I can hardly believe that with all the informants Mossad and Shin Beth had in Gaza, all the communications intercept, all the airborne imagery – Israel was taken by surprise. 5000 Hamas killers knew it was game time, but not one Israeli knew anything. Really?!

          • Vegan Shark October 9, 2023 at 12:07 pm #

Ah, but the Mossad had an ace up its sleeve too. A faux rave within spitting distance of the Gaza border. Crack special operations forces, disguised as feathered hipsters soaking their brains in mind-altering drugs of such variety some haven’t been named yet.

They were just waiting for the signal to be given from Tel Aviv after which they would retrieve their weapons from the tents, breach the pathetic border and add assault to taste.

Was that brilliant or what? Who but HIQ Israelis could have pasted it in their dream book? Alas, the Palestinians muffed their entrance and came in early, like the horn player in an orchestra blatting out a forte note while the violins are still sighing a peaceful lament.

            Slip sliding away …

          • Rowdypiglet October 9, 2023 at 12:30 pm #

From the Wall Street Journal in April, as noted this morning on the Coffee and Covid blog:

“General Esmail Qaani, who leads the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ elite Quds Force, has held a series of clandestine meetings with militant leaders across the region. The Quds Force chief was in Lebanon last week, where he met with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and his deputy Saleh al-Arouri (and others) at the Iranian embassy in Beirut.
Around the same time, militants in southern Lebanon fired a barrage of rockets at Israel, the largest such attack since the 2006 war between Hezbollah and Israel.
Israel has cause for concern. Gen. Qaani’s effort to unite Tehran’s allies is a sharp escalation in the undeclared war between Iran and Israel after Israel carried out hundreds of attacks targeting Iran and its proxies across the Middle East.
Among Tehran’s chief objectives is to prevent its neighbors from establishing diplomatic ties with Israel.”

It was also pointed out how similar this was to 9/11, where the FBI chose to ignore citizen tips and other information that was provided to them. So – cui bono?

          • Paula D October 9, 2023 at 1:03 pm #

The answer to your question will soon be obvious, Rowdy, but right now, I can’t fathom it.

But on 9-11 I had no idea that the destruction of Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya and Iran was in the plans.

It takes a while to see what they’re up to.

          • par4 October 9, 2023 at 1:58 pm #

Yes, they have been lost since the Jeffrey Epstein spy ring went down.

Conservation of time and energy via operant conditioning. If they were taught to salivate at the tone of a bell, just associate a buzzer with the bell and you’ll have the same response. No need to start from scratch.

        • Hated American October 9, 2023 at 12:11 pm #

Yes, this has all the appearance of an orchestrated event to justify/provoke WW3. And, right on cue, the day after Blinken starts announcing that …gasp…Americans have been killed, etc. I guess I can’t blame them, it’s worked like a charm for hundreds of years.

Even the open border of the U.S. Southwest is equipped with cameras and sensors and detection devices.
        IR scopes.
They can see miles past the border.

Software that can detect and distinguish humans from desert hares.
Much more sophisticated than your doorbell camera that can tell you if your porch visitor is a chipmunk or the Amazon driver.
Then we have drones, satellites and helicopters.
But Israel has none of that?

Let’s not forget their greatest asset: humint
        Human intel.

Apparently they had no idea what their known adversaries were up to.

Since Feb. 2022, a lot of t hings have changes and a lot of things have become clearer.

One of them seems to be that NATO now looks a lot like General Nimrod Aloni being hustled away from home in his boxer shorts.

The Israeli commandos and the regular soldiers were incredibly well trained, super organized, and very tough and effective fighters. Something is wrong with the picture currently in Israel. Wow!

          • Billy Hill October 9, 2023 at 11:27 am #

GA: Entertaining re-construction to make a point. Possibly fanciful, possibly not. If not, one hypothesis is the Israeli leadership are mid-level managers doing the bidding whether consciously or unconsciously of others. This analysis has been floated by Joseph Farrell regarding 9-11. When the towers came down, Farrell, watching on TV, realized there was a third force at work; just the planes flying into the towers were sufficient motive for the neocon program facilitated by the US “intelligence failure.” Bush’s hurried departure to Offutt air base was intended to exert direct presidential authority over the nuclear deterrent given that there were fears a Third Force had compromised launch code security.

Again, possibly fanciful, possibly not. As Celente has long said, when all else fails they take you to war. The question as always is who “they” are.

John Helmer (Gorilla radio interview 9Oct) points out the Israelis were surprised by the Egyptians in the 1973 war. They had ample intel on the military buildup at the Suez canal and chose to interpret it as mere exercises. Helmer’s thesis is the Israelis have such a huge superiority complex that as in 73 they discounted the ability of the Arabs despite any intel suggesting an imminent attack.

But wait — there’s more! Helmer reports:

“A US Sixth Fleet squadron … is now steaming towards the eastern shore of the Mediterranean, following the unusual mission last Thursday by a US Navy P-8 aircraft monitoring the state of operational alert of the Russian naval fleet at Tartous, Syria.”

From down here in Hickville we humbly ask: WTF????

          • justanotherguy October 9, 2023 at 5:52 pm #

6th fleet steaming in, huh? i sense a major attack by the PAF, using unmarked planes, on those intel gathering assets. p(R)esident johnson – uh bidet – will of course assure us its all mistaken identity.

if there are any american sailors still standing.

sheesh, this rhyming history stuff is real work!

          • Islander October 9, 2023 at 9:48 pm #

            Ditto wow.

Very interesting and thought-provoking. Some comments at the thread are interesting and some are off the wall.

It reminds me of some quite well known examples of pictures that can be interpreted in two ways—but the brain can only perceive one of the “versions” at a time.

Do a search for “drawing of old woman and young woman” and then choose “images.” (URL is far too long to post.)

The source of the Gaza AI’d photo seems to be a mystery.

    • Anthea October 9, 2023 at 8:45 pm #

      @ Ishabaka:

My guess is that the event–indeed, the whole chain of events–was pre-planned to take place precisely as it did. The idea that there was a failure of Israeli intelligence is particularly ludicrous. Someone, or several someones, conspired to light this fuse.

      • Wizard of the Saddle October 10, 2023 at 9:29 am #

Mossad is highly capable and very competent….but they are not supermen and no one is infallible.

Most likely scenario: Whatever intel Israel received prior to the assault was misinterpreted by the analysts and/or dismissed by the Netanyahu government as not being a credible threat.

It happens in the world of intelligence more often than the James Bond flicks would have you believe. It is a world of smoke and mirrors and even experienced hands are frequently unsure what to believe.

  2. reggiezz October 9, 2023 at 9:52 am #

This situation can spin out of control in an infinite number of ways. The Arabs and Persians aren’t rational and cautious like Putin. And the Brandon Addministration and all neocons are possessed by demons.

It’s obvious this was designed in DC to serve as a pretext for war with Iran, as Phase 2 of their plan to control Russian and Iranian energy resources. How else can they control China?

But the Iranians have longer range missiles now and who knows what else. So let’s say Iran levels Tel Aviv and the US fleet in response to Israeli air strikes. Then does Brandon take out Tehran? And what happens after that?

No oil will be flowing, that’s for sure.

    • BackRowHeckler October 9, 2023 at 11:21 am #

Israel will take out Tehran, and they will be backed up by Saudi Arabia, Kuwait & Qatar.

Do you see Saudi Arabia taking in any ‘Dislocated Palestinians’? They want nothing to do with those troublemakers. Iran & SArabia are at one another’s throats all of the time, and I don’t think the Saudi King would shed too many tears if Tehran was evaporated.

          • Ron Anselmo October 10, 2023 at 10:47 am #

Janos – there’s absolutely no love lost between Iran and Israel. On Iran supporting Hamas – “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” – an Arab/Israeli thing.

The comment was more directed toward – BRH’s comment “Iran & SArabia at each other’s throats all of the time…”.

Both are Middle East oil salesmen, fighting for market share, but their religious sect differences go back centuries – Sunni vs. Shiite – prior to oil.

Even though, as you mention, Iran is allied with Russia, and SA, leaning toward BRICS alignment, Iran is none too fond of SA playing footsie with Israel of late.

Iran probably sees two strikes against Israel. 1) They are infidels and 2) they’re making nice with the Sunnis.

      • AZJJ October 10, 2023 at 10:58 am #

    What timing.
The exposure of the Biden crime family and its connections with Ukraine.

The anti-war activities from Bernie Sanders office to the take-down of the speaker of the house.

Momentum was very slowly shifting to accountability and peace.

War hawk candidates gaining no traction.
Haley, the new neocon candidate, who took in millions from the war cartel was desperately trying to out war the cadaver known as Pence.

The support for Ukraine and all its corruption hit rock bottom. Not a day went by without more corruption revelations and more losses.

    Again what timing.
    Perpetual war.

All the alleged conservative news sources from Citizen Free Press to Breitbart agitating for war support.

They swallowed it hook, line, sinker, and rod.

Cheerleaders for destruction. It’s the right wing way.

In one day they put together the entire clandestine 6 month plan!

    War.

Since no one “celebrates” IPD except a few indigenes, I guess we just lost a nice holiday.

        • Paula D October 9, 2023 at 1:10 pm #

What did people do on Columbus Day? I guess the Italians on the east coast had parades, but there was nothing in California.

It was originally not considered an “Italian” holiday, from what I remember.

Palestine is a figment of your imagination. Arabs are Arabs and the ones stuck in Gaza are just hapless pawns – leftover detritus from old Arab-Israeli fights half a century ago that no longer have relevance in the region.

Most Arab states have moved on and would much rather get rich than go to war with Israel these days.

All of the Arabs in Gaza should have simply been handed back over to Egypt 20 years ago along with that miserable plot of land they are stuck in and let Egypt deal with the them.

I believe it is utterly disingenuous to frame this decades old conflict as ‘Religious’ because it permits the entry of faith-based facts into evidence from both sides.

This conflict has always been about dirt, just like most human conflicts.

That dirt belonged to the Palestinians who lived there for thousands of years. Their eviction started with the Balfour Act, whereupon the pogrom of Israeli terrorism began. It blossomed with the assassination of Folke Bernadotte at the hands of the IRGUN. All the top Israeli heroes (founding fathers and mothers) were there.

    Read!

Empathy for Palestine. Can you imagine watching an orchard of olive trees that has been in your family for generations bulldozed to make way for yahoos from eastern europe? Homes taken, in probably the same manner, evoking the same scenes that you’re seeing today. Check out how long it takes a fucking olive tree to become mature and stable, and let me know if the people who cultivate them for centuries are gonna let that kinda hate go?

I’d suggest you read everything by Uris, then Michener, Clavell, Potok, Vonnegut (for levity), Mishima, Bradbury, Asimov… and the list goes on. A.B.Guthrie, A.C.Clarke, (stay away from Tolstoi, he introduces eight hundred and twelve characters in the first thirty pages).

Lest I forget, I’ve read everything by our host as well, he’s a pretty good “word-smith”.

You are right. Could be the time for ultimate decision making is upon the Middle East right now.

Someone needs to destroy the other side, nothing else will settle the issues.

Political remedies no longer exist. I would not want to be in Gaza right now, it is about to be taken back from the Palestinians.

Also, this is the death of territory for peace negotiations championed by the US, the two nation solution.

Sorta like right here. The USA will not get involved, boots on the ground, in any of these local civil wars as it prepares for its own.

As one Norman said to another: Ireland is sword land, open to the strongest. And as another said, Our opponents are naked (no armor). Strike, Barons, strike!

Get it? All nations are born in blood. There would be no United States if we hadn’t conquered and dispossessed the Indians, thus becoming the Native Americans.

Don’t like it? You wouldn’t even exist (at least in your current form) without the Conquerors. You owe them everything – all that you have and all that you are. Are you praying for them? Offering up sacrifices?

      • Alfred October 9, 2023 at 10:36 am #

I’m saying the land belongs to the people from whom it was taken by fiat, then by force while the world watched…

Since 1917, starting with the Balfour Declaration, then throughout the thirties and forties when the Irgun, or Etzel, a Zionist paramilitary organization ran their pogrom in Palestine and then Israel. Then they watched each UN resolution ignored by the great powers, all the while committing genocide against the Palestinian people.

Is Jerusalem in there, probably – so yeah I guess so.

        • draupnir October 9, 2023 at 11:07 am #

My dear sir, new people come into a territory and push out the old. Sometimes it is done by force. Often it is done by the inevitable intermarriage until the region is populated by an entirely new people. Right after the Civil War we began the Indian War and pushed back those people and placed them on reservations, where they have diminished ever since. By your logic, we should give the country back to them.

We, here in the US and in Europe, are under similar attack right now. In any event, I predict our visage is going to be much browner in the future than historically. Fishbelly white skin is not that attractive anyway.

          • Beryl of Oyl October 9, 2023 at 11:16 am #

If you were to start ‘giving back’ the land to the rightful owners, there would be perpetual motion as each new group moved in and then had to make way for those who had it before them.

If you go back in history far enough, everybody is related to everybody else, so we would have to pick an arbitrary date for this to stop, and also pick an arbitrary of the amount of DNA needed to claim kinship with the descendants.

          • Hated American October 9, 2023 at 9:34 pm #

Shoot. Read Wendell Berry’s “The Unsettling of America”. Americans do it to Americans, using property taxes to run out rural people, farmers, and force them to sell. Real estate people, developers get rich, new public skool “campuses” are built for the new homeowners the developers ran out the farmers for. It’s what the Costner series “Yellowstone” is about. Developers wanting someones picturesque/well situated land, and making deals with pols to seize that land promising jobs and increased tax revenue. But all that happens is the values go up and the population can no longer afford to live in their own town. This isn’t just indigenous issue at all. It is the rich man stealing the poor man’s lamb.

            @ Hated American:

I read Berry’s “The Unsettling of America” many years ago. Excellent book. This has been going on for a long time.

In my area, back in the 70s, real estate developers in Johnson County, Kansas, coveted the farmlands in the Blue Valley area, but the farmers wouldn’t sell. So the developers conspired with the county to raise the farmers’ property taxes into the stratosphere and thus force them to sell. That area, once it was developed, quickly became one of Johnson County’s wealthiest suburbs. Maybe it still is.

But, as a matter of fact, Johnson County–now wall-to-wall housing developments, malls, and freeways–was once predominantly farmland. In the late 70s, there was severe flooding in the Plaza area of Kansas City, Missouri, where Brush Creek runs smack against the southern edge of the Plaza. This was entirely due to the paving over of Brush Creek’s upstream watershed–which happened to be in Johnson County. I wasn’t living in KC at the time, but I heard the floodwaters came up to second-story windows. (There was quite a lot of rain that year, which I think was 1978, with quite a lot of flooding elsewhere.)

          • Rowdypiglet October 9, 2023 at 1:28 pm #

I think “settler colonialism” is the phrase we now use to describe what has always gone on: the stronger conquer the weaker. We used to do this in a much nastier way than we have in the last few hundred years, so you could make a good argument for the belief that we’re somewhat more benevolent than we were.

For most of humanity’s past, there were no apologies, no reparations, not even the payment of a few beads and trinkets. The stronger took what belonged to the weaker, and unapologetically killed or enslaved those who were conquered. Human nature doesn’t change, and we’re not really very nice – so we have to learn to work with what we are. I don’t shrug off predatory behavior, but it doesn’t help to pretend that it’s not our default setting.

The “Palestinians” came into existence after the siege of Jerusalem by Rome and then the diaspora of the Jewish survivors to the surrounding “nations” in the empire in 70 AD. They even went so far as to rename Judea on their maps as Palestine. The non-Jewish people that remained in what was Israel became “Palestinians.” That’s how Palestine came into being and Israel ceased being a country until May 18, 1948. God told them that after two thousand years of diaspora among the nations that He was going to bring them back to their land, and May 18, 1948, was the fulfillment of that prophecy, which Satan attempted to prevent through the Holocaust. God gave Israel to Abraham and his descendants forever for his obedience. This is all in Genesis.

All horseshit. Territory “belongs” to whatever pack of wolves can seize it and hold it…..

….until another meaner pack of wolves arrives to repeat that process.

Historical “claims” to land are merely propaganda used by the weak and the dispossessed to whine and cry about.

If you covet a piece of land, you and your pack must take down the pack that currently holds it.

Force is the ultimate arbiter of these territorial disputes – not weak, pussyfied “men” in striped pants at the U.N.

    • King of Comedy October 9, 2023 at 11:27 am #

Be careful, Al, your Marxism is showing…

This is the same bedwetter logic that has produced the ridiculous spectacle of the Native American land acknowledgment in the decaying corpse of what used to be the United States. The poor oppressed™, always being fucked over by the oppressor… but the reality is that the strong taking land from the weak is as old as the opposable thumb. That “thousand year old” Palestinian dirt was over the last 3000 at least ruled by the Assyrians, the Babylonians, the ancient Israelites, the Romans, the Ottomans, the British, and modern Israel, in pretty much unbroken succession. Similar to Ukraine, Palestine sounds less like a country than a way station for marauding armies.

All that really matters and all that has ever really mattered is if you can hold the land or if you can’t. We’ve lived in a sweet spot in history for the last century give or take, so fat and bored by the comforts around us, that the eunuch crowd among us has forgotten the essential truth of life on this planet: if you’re not the wolf, then you’re the sheep.

      • Beryl of Oyl October 9, 2023 at 12:20 pm #

We are in a situation inAmerica where we can’t hold the land because we won’t enforce the laws of our land.

The only thing I can see is the comfortable existence, largely brought about by the very conquerors you find so distasteful, enables one to develop a conscience. The problem is that this conscience is completely artificial and is supported only by the edifice the grievance mongers would like to topple. It goes away and so do all the fine feelings which is why I stand by the “bed wetting” characterization. From a historical perspective, only spoiled children can think this way and it’s also imo the upside of the coming collapse. Israel was pretty close to South Africa — the two countries collaborated to build nuclear weapons — so Israelis have a first hand look at what happens when you give up your country to the grasping orcs. In SA it took a mere 3 decades for a first world country that pioneered open heart surgery & invented modern mining techniques to devolve into a squalid, dysfunctional 3rd world sh#thole. What, you don’t think Israel has noticed? When Israel ceded Gaza to the Palestinians out of good will they left behind of a system functioning greenhouses they had built over a period of decades, a development that had made the desert bloom; the first thing the Palestinians did was smash them up.

” the strong taking land from the weak is as old as the opposable thumb. ”

Sure, but let’s identify “the strong,” and the source of their so-called strength.

The Jews got their “strength” from backroom dealing before the Great War. Their strength was always “secondhand,” that this true today. Without the UK and the USA Israel would not be the strong dumping on the weak.

Let’s remember that to get a wedge in for the Jews in Palestine, which certain Brits held to be a great idea, mainly strategically, basically five empires were destroyed:
        The Ottomans,
        the Austro-Hungarian
        the Russian
        the German,
        and the British.

All that just to impose *another* genocidal settler colonial enterprise at the eastern end of the Mediterranean. While the world was still shrieking about the Drang nach Osten and Lebensraum. Gimme an effin’ break.

        • King of Comedy October 9, 2023 at 4:16 pm #

Pro tip: whoever uses the term “settler colonialism” ranks right up there with the deep thinkers who drool on about “white supremacy”, “intersectionality” and the “patriarchy”. It sounds clownish even in a roomful of Marxists fellating each other; outside of that setting, it’s just not to be taken seriously in any way.

Vis-a-vis strength, I seem to recall the former USSR backing the Arab countries in the 70 year on/off conflict over in the armpit of the universe, including providing arms and resources to the PLO. Certainly there were Soviet weapons and weapons systems on the Arab side in ‘73. Sounds a lot like the adversaries of Israel had a little bit of that secondhand strength as well… who knows… maybe Jewish secondhand strength is more powerful than Arab secondhand strength… but relative strength still triumphs over relative weakness anyway you slice it. So no other way to see your reply but as a FAIL.

Well said. There are few things more ridiculous than the claim that a land area rightfully belongs to whoever got there first.

As Col. MacGregor said in one of his videos, quoting his Scottish ancestors, “The land is mine that I can hold with my sword.” That’s the way it works, and that’s the way it always has worked.

And the claim that some piece of real estate belongs to you because God said so, or the pope said so, or Great Britain said so is ludicrous.

“And the claim that some piece of real estate belongs to you because God said so, or the pope said so, or Great Britain said so is ludicrous.”

These two statements seem to be contradictory.

          No matter.

I guess it was also OK for Jewish Germans’ businesses to be Aryanized.

Or for the businesses and the patents etc of interned German Americans and Japanese Americans to be confiscated and sold off to . . . well, an awful lot of them ended up in the hands of the Pritzkers.

          All good, by you.

          • Anthea October 10, 2023 at 1:05 pm #

            @ Islander:

            I’m not seeing the contradiction.

I wasn’t referring to situations like persecutions or confiscations of minorities within any particular country, but to the migrations of peoples into land masses–which, in recent history, have mostly been occupied by someone else. Discussions about whether it’s right or wrong are…maybe a little frivolous. They are essentially forces of nature.

The internment of Japanese Americans and German Americans, and the confiscation of their property were strictly political actions. (I have never heard anything about the persecution of German Americans in my area–where there are/were quite a number of Germans. Maybe there were too many of them to risk bothering with. They certainly were never interred.)

My impression is that, during WWII in California, there was a great deal of fear of a Japanese invasion. My grandfather and his family lived in California at the outset of WWII, and I’ve been told that the reason he moved the family back to Missouri was due to his fear of a Japanese invasion. Californians, perhaps naturally–with a large helping of war hysteria–viewed Japanese Americans as a potential fifth column. That’s what happens when you get involved in a war. Self-preservation trumps everything else.

          • Islander October 10, 2023 at 6:35 pm #

“viewed Japanese Americans as a potential fifth column. ”

Sure, that is always the excuse.

Great pretext to rob the Japanese and German Americans blind. Most people do not know the extent of the thievery.

            The word is interned.

“During World War II, the US Government interned at least 11,000 persons of German ancestry. By law, only “enemy aliens” could be interned. However, with governmental approval, their family members frequently joined them in the camps. Many such “voluntarily” interned spouses and children were American citizens.”

^This^ is my position as well. And therefore “might makes right.”

          • Anthea October 10, 2023 at 1:20 pm #

            @ Q. Shtik:

Speaking strictly in terms of the natural world, the whole reason that human groups have a moral code is because it would be impossible for their group to survive and prosper without one. I.e., you can’t have the member of your group killing each other and stealing from each other–or lying to each other and cheating each other. The group could not remain cohesive, and it couldn’t function economically. The whole reason that groups have rules of ethics in relation to other groups (“foreigners”) is because trade is mutually beneficial and promotes prosperity. It is therefore prudent to deal fairly and honestly with “foreigners.”

I’m not sure that this “natural” moral code–which is mostly pure expediency–applies to gaining and retaining a territorial basis. There’s nothing very expedient about trying to apply morality in an existential situation. E.g., if you’re fighting a war in the trenches, it might not be the best time to start equivocating about the morality of killing people.

          • Anthea October 11, 2023 at 3:38 am #

            @ Q. Shtik:

I don’t know if “might makes right” exactly, in these instances. Maybe it’s more a case in which, in warfare, it more or less goes without saying that moral and ethical codes have broken down or cease to exist altogether.

It is usually futile to try to reason with an invading army (or horde, as the case may be), or appeal to their better nature. The Mongol invasions of Europe during the 13th Century are a pretty good illustration, but the same applies in any war. There is no social contract between the warring parties–however much they may hurl accustions against each other about atrocities, the targeting of civilians, or the Geneva Conventions. It’s all pretense and hot air.

I don’t know if that means that “might makes right,” but it does mean that might will prevail–invariably.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that morality cannot be imposed in such situations (Who would impose it? The UN?), and neither party has the luxury of being the good guy, unless they want to be defeated and die.

I don’t know if there is any parallel in normal, everyday life to dumping the “sweetness and light” approach to an extreme degree. I do know, though, that there are cases in ordinary, everyday life where we have to get pretty tough–and where we may agonize about the justice or morality of our decisions. (This is the kind of stuff that often haunts you in your old age.)

          • Anthea October 11, 2023 at 2:37 pm #

            @ Q. Shtik:

I think a person could make a decent argument that “right makes might.”

“Right” makes a nation strong and cohesive. You can see this in the moral degeneration of the US. If you look at our urban areas, you can see that, without the Rule of Law, businesses cannot flourish (or even exist). Our economy in general stagnates, because no one will work if their labor products are automatically stolen.

If you think about the various factors involved, if you want to prevail in war, I think that most or all of them go back to the “rightness” of their culture.

For starters, the chief element to succeeding in warfare is population. God is almost always on the side of the greatest numbers. That means that the culture must value and nurture its women and children. Children are desired–and preferably lots of them. A successful culture does not kill its children or place demands on its women that discourage child-bearing. Self-selecting for genetic extinction is probably a bad (and wrong-headed) idea.

Another factor is education. If you want to win a war, you can’t be a bunch of dummies. That means that, not only does the culture educate its kids, but also that it has some knowledge to impart. This means a written language, high levels of literacy, highalevels of technological advancement, a long recorded history, and the promotion of cultural cohesion and positive values of honor, work, thrift, plenty, and self-sacrifice. These give a culture the wherewithal to prevail in war.

The chief ways a culture achieves these are by having a strong moral code, in which they are enjoined to take care of one another, provide for one another, and be productive to achieve wealth. But it’s also important to both wealth and technological advancement that they have a strong ethical code in relation to other nations. This is what allows them to profit from trade and new ideas. E.g., when Captain Bligh and his crew were rowing around the Pacific after being kicked off the Bounty, they encountered several cannibal islands. Obviously, such a group of people was unlikely to profit from trade or new ideas–and were thus destined to remain weak and poor.

Now that I think of it, many years ago, back in the Dark Ages, I was told that the reason the rest of the world prefered to invest in the US capital markets is because they were honest and governed by sound laws that were actually enforced (back then), and the rest of the world were a bunch of crooks. I think this was probably true, back then. You can test this yourself by buying something on Craigslist from someone from India. I’ve known people who, having observed that Indians will cheat you every time, have decided that they will no longer do business with them and will rather buy their used cell phone from a white suburban soccer mom. Jayant Bhandari has a lot to say about this (over at Lew Rockwell’s site).

Thus, I think there’s a decent argument the “right” often makes “might.”

Absolutely correct. Anyone who wishes to understand the fundamental nature of mankind needs merely to study wolves in the wild.

It is not for no reason that mankind was able to domesticate wolves and develop all modern dog breeds from them.

We think alike and act alike. It was a natural partnership.

Wokesters reject this because the Nazis famously made this observation way back in the 1930’s and 40’s. Like a broken clock, even the Nazis were right at least twice a day. Observing this dispassionately doesn’t make one a Nazi – just another person who recognizes that their is an inner-wolf in human nature.

Right Wiz – even their social structure is well worth study. Alpha’s are dominant, reproductive rights strengthen the pack, pack hierarchy on merit, etc. No free bison or elk.

          • Blackbird October 10, 2023 at 5:21 pm #

For anyone who wants to study the social structure of wolves, Michigan Tech’s Isle Royale Wolf-Moose study – ongoing since 1974 – is a good place to start.

In 1949 wolves crossed the frozen channel between Isle Royale and the Ontario shore of Lake Superior. That 7-mile stretch of cold water rarely freezes. The wolves must have been salivating over the scent of rotting moose (overpopulation due to lack of predators) for the previous couple decades.

In 1967 the channel froze again. Another pack attempted to cross over from Canada. The packs on Isle Royale temporarily set aside their territorial disputes in order to fend off the invaders. (Thus avoiding a reinvigorating of the gene pool.)

By the mid-90’s all of the wolves on Isle Royale were as closely related as an old fashioned nuclear family, fecundity had crashed, and wolves were about to go extinct on the island.

In 2018 the National Park Service began live-trapping wolves and relocating them to Isle Royale. There were only 2 wolves left on the island by that time. I think this was a mistake – let nature take its course. But no, even biologists want to treat nature as if it is a park to be perfected for human enjoyment. We do the same thing with human populations: “Hmmm, Vermont’s too white. We need to import a few thousand Somalis to make it perfecter.” (But we never see a need to import white people to black majority areas…)

It’s also worth remembering that wolves run around naked all year, don’t cook their food before eating it, and piss on anything they want to claim.

          • Ron Anselmo October 10, 2023 at 10:14 pm #

Thanks Blackbird – I may have seen bits and pieces of Isle Royale packs over time but will have to dig back into it. Reintroduction of wolves in Yellowstone has also had a big impact. They were hunted to extinction in the late 1800’s.

When there were so few predators for deer & elk, they grazed cottonwoods to nubs along rivers – beavers had no trees to fell – no dams were built and nowhere to raise their young – nor any pond eco-environments.

Simple reintroduction of wolves has reversed all that now, and restored nature’s balance. Wolves are majestic animals.

    • JohnAZ October 9, 2023 at 10:28 am #

That occurrence will be the end of the USA global policing.

The Ukraine war is an obvious signal about how ineffective tank warfare, the basis of NATO strategy, is.

What else is available as the wars accumulate with no solutions?

Remember, as I just said, the solution for any war is obliteration of one side or the other. Otherwise, the war just continues at a later date.

    • buckeyeman October 9, 2023 at 11:08 am #

“Then Russia will drop a nuke in Ukraine.”

Not likely. Firstly, Russia has been consistently “reserved” in this conflict. Yeah, I know, Ukraine has now lost in excess of 450,000 soldiers but that’s largely of their own doing.

Secondly, Russia does not need to nuke Uke. Russia is winning. The West is now balking like an angry mule at giving more “stuff” to Ukraine, especially when if is now showing up in Isra-el. Ukraine has depleted its population of young men as well as its trust and good will with outside nations and their own soldiers.

How much of Ukraine Russia will demand as reparations depends on how the conflict continues. If Z-man were overthrown today Russia would likely settle for Crimea, Kherson, Zaproizhzia, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Odessa. Poland will chew off Lviv and Volyn. Slovakia, Hungaria, and Romania will cast lots to see who gets Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Chernivtski.

If the conflict continues, Russia will take (not demand – TAKE) more.

      Oh, and “Thanks” to FJB.

“How much of Ukraine Russia will demand as reparations”

I don’t think Russia will demand “reparations.”

After all, most of Ukraine will be reincorporated into the RF.

        So, that will be that.

Western corporations who already started feeding on the living corpse of Ukr might be the ones tempted to ask for reparations. But since the sales to therm were illegal under UKr law, they probably will be laughed out of the room and won’t even go there. Instead they will try to make deals with the new landlord, who probably will say, Nyet.

            carlsonattorneys.com/news-and-update/banning-roundup

However, Russia has banned GMOs, which are another big Monsanto project. (I think that perhaps that is the ban you were thinking of.)

Back to Ukraine: I thought I read somewhere that Monsanto was the biggest single landowner in Ukraine, though I could be remembering wrong.

          • Paula D October 9, 2023 at 2:50 pm #

GMOs are genetically modified to be able to withstand glyphosate. That is their only modification.

Most glyphosate in the US is used on GMO crops.

The farmer comes and dumps glyphosate over the fields and plants the GMO seeds the same day.

Over the next few days every plant in the field dies, and then about a week later, the GMO seeds sprout.

            So it is connected.

Ukraine is barely hanging on and the US and NATO cupboards are already bare. The ass-clowns that run the Pentagon will now have a difficult dilemma: to allot that meager stash of what’s left in the dusty military warehouses to either Ukraine or Israel and I think it’s pretty clear that Ukraine going down is not even in the same universe as Israel being overrun by Islamic vermin.

By early spring at the latest, Ukraine will have been bled white and have no military hardware to give to a virtually non-existent army. Game, set, match.

The problem is that we cannot know for certain whether anything we see is true or real; everything is manipulated within a web of lies. When we are consistently unable to determine what is reality and what is not, our ability to use reason is undermined to the point of being entirely unreliable.

Indeed. At least before newspapers and electronic media were invented people could take things at face value because everything we knew depended on eyewitnesses and 100% of the human race was satisfied to believe the evidence of their own eyes.

As much as I can, I’m denying them access.

I heard that the Erie People filed a grievance against the Iroquois Nation. Apparently the US Supreme Court rejected their “claim” because it lacked “standing” and also because as indigenous persons, the Iroquois are not capable of genocide. Only whites can be guilty of this crime. Besides, the Erie people no longer exist.

If we just let the Shias and the Jews duke it out to completion, we will finally know whose side God is on. Tongue in cheek.

After all, the real stupidity of this man-made fiasco we call religion is the fact that we are fighting to the death over the same God, Jesus,Yahweh, Allah, the same God that has provided us with the spiritual tools to create Heaven on earth.

Imagine being a young Palestinian lad living within earshot of the music…night ..after ..night.

Your night won’t be spent cavorting with young women. Your night will be spent sleeping on the dirt floor of your family hut listening to the sounds of the people in the next room making another baby.

You’ll be up at dawn to fetch water at the pump (if the Israel has turned the electricity on). Once the cistern is filled, your day will be spent listening to the music at a festival you’ll never attend.

    I’d be pissed too.

      This one goes both ways.

Jarek, do you catch the similarities to the USA in this, the divisions of the haves and have-nots and the supposed inability of the Have-nots to compete with the Haves? Is this war just a precursor to a world wide, even the US, surge by the Have-nots to steal with violence from the Haves.

If so, it will just be history repeating itself, AGAIN.

John, we have seen Barack Obama busy sowing the seed for this in America.

What ways have they NOT sought to divide us?

I saw this post from Scott Adams, which says it all, succinctly:

“Israel is a preview of America in the sense that one group has been “educated” to think the other group has their stuff and needs to give it back.

That can only go in one direction.”

Actually, that’s the way I felt (me and the whole neighborhood) when they opened a bar almost across the street from my apartment building (back in the 70s), and the loud music went on all night. My abode was pretty humble at the time, and the bed was a Murphy bed, though I did have running water, but I can’t imagine being pissed because I wasn’t across the street at the bar.

And that is why questions should be asked, and investigated, as to how much Biden, and others, have received from the cartels to turn over control of our Southern border. Since the cartels are making billions of $ in drugs, sex slaves, and fees, surely they paid out at least 20-30 million in bribes to Biden and others. Gonna be a very bad time in the U.S. when these invaders decide to attack Americans, likely with support from the Biden administration, as was the case with antifa and blm, who could be expected to join in. Surely have to suspend the election getting rid of Joe and Kamala in the face of so much violence and turmoil. Remember the alleged 20,000 Chinese men, all with the same tattoos and hair cuts, as in the military, that have crossed our border. How and why were they allowed to leave China and what is their purpose? Joe, being the recipient of so much cash from china likely knows.

I think I can remember when America was an energetic Can Do Nation – at least, that’s what we were told in Civics Class, but it has surely been a while.

On the eve of the collapse of the Soviet Union – a third of a century ago – the idiots, I mean expert analysts, of the CIA estimated that the Soviet economy had perhaps grown larger than that of the US. Turns out, it was about a third the size.

More recently, their contribution to our national security was the declaration that the Russian economy is so feeble that if we start a proxy war in Ukraine it will collapse, Putin will be deposed, and all will be Sweetness and Light.

My modest proposal is that we have Zelensky confer Ukrainian citizenship upon all employees of the CIA and FBI and put them on the front line in the current failed conflict. Then re-staff those agencies with poor souls who have been sleeping under bridges and give them coloring books instead of computers.

In today’s Washington there is no way that the agencies can be officially dissolved, but that would at least prevent them from doing further harm.

    • JohnAZ October 9, 2023 at 10:53 am #

Here is an idea. Send all the illegals to Ukraine while they wait to be made citizens or get green cards. Successful survival of two years in Ukraine fighting for Z means citizenship.

      What an idea!!!!!! Wow!

Hey, it worked with 1As in Vietnam, and they were already citizens, all 58000 of them that did not return.

These are the same guys that told us that we faced a ‘missile gap” with the Soviets back in the ’50’s. There was a gap, but the Ruskies were on the low end of it.

I don’t think the Ukraine war was ever about taking down Putin. (Or about Putin trying to conquer the Ukraine – and then probably the rest of Europe.) I think it is about taking down the US and our puppets in western Europe.

My entire life (age 55) has been a series of news reports of incursions, scuffles and fights between Israel and Palastine. Over and over.

Like many, I don’t give a flying f*ck. Neither is a side I can get behind and it’s far away. Like the majority of Americans, I just don’t care. Tired of these people.

The “tricked-out pickup trucks and para-gliders” means it is likely a CIA backed operation. They like the flash. Oh, and the fact that it was a “surprise” ….sure, just this one time Mossad was asleep.

That troll Netanyahu had the entire country protesting his Supreme Court gambit a couple of weeks ago. He’s loathed. Then this happens. Are we supposed to ignore that fact? Please.

This ploy because the passion for Ukraine is in the down the drain so maybe this will work. Distraction.

Fear of this spilling over (as if that is possible) is what this operation is supposed to do. You know the paragliders…seems a little too theatrical for my taste. It’s all theater or if you prefer bullsh*t.

Also, the idea that low IQ migrants can be organized to do anything is cartoonish at best. Note how well the FBI attempts to organize homegrown dum-dums works out (Hey! Let’s kidnap the governor!).

The Congress, Janet Yellen and her bond problem, and all funny money manipulations are hitting that 7% interest rate and the end of LIBOR (no more laundering…sorry Ukraine.) but that doesn’t mean the economy suffers especially since investors all flowing into $USD.

While the world burns and crumbles, Uncle Joey hosts a BBQ for White House staff and family:

A pool reporter overheard a band playing from the White House lawn while pro-Palestine protesters picketed outside the gates, chanting ‘Free Palestine’ and demanding the US cut aid to Israel.

The reporter questioned why they could hear the band, and a spokesperson replied: ‘The President and First Lady are hosting a BBQ for White House Executive Residence staff and their families.

Biden has made no public statement on the attack Saturday other than confirmation of a phone call between himself and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu – and news of the barbecue triggered outrage online.

‘At least FOUR Americans are presumed dead in Israel and Joe Biden is too busy having a BBQ party at the White House to care,’ podcaster Joey Mannarino raged online. ‘That guy is truly sick.’

It is the end of WW2. The concentration camps have been discovered, and the USSR pogroms have started in Ukraine.

There are remaining millions of Jews in Europe disenfranchised, like people without a country.

The movie Exodus presented it well to the American public, but Leon Uris’ book was much more poignant.

The Jews, as a group, basically sent out the message, we have had enough of this world that has thought to destroy us. They set their sites on the return to Jerusalem and Judea and made it happen.

The liberal cowards of the world just cannot stand strength to be shown like that.

It was at the beginning. The Jews saw the weak administration the British were giving to Palestine and grabbed the chance to get back the “Land of milk and honey” promised them by God, in their eyes.

Ships in the Med were loaded with Jews with no where to go. The Zionists gave them a target.

        Dis

The Christians claim Judea as the home of Jesus and Christianity and tried to keep it Christian during the Crusades.

The Muslims claim Judea as the launching point for Mohammed as he ascended to Heaven and took it from the Christians along with Africa and half of Spain.

The Jews claim Judea because God gave it to them in the original Exodus.

Who is right in the sight of God, the ultimate judgement?

The Veep’s “moment of time” we observe are the years sped up to bring on ‘Idiocracy’ centuries ahead of the time in which it was portrayed.

That much is clear now. Dreadfully so.

    “Shitake…” “Rosebud…”

  28. mitchellc October 9, 2023 at 11:19 am #

Ah, once again the long train of complaints. Doesn’t anyone understand Rove?

It’s nothing more than competition over scarce resources, no different than the millions of organisms, animal, plant or other, all locked in the same eternal death struggle.

You are born, not by choice, but by dumb random luck, into this temporal existence. You may have seconds or years or nurturing to prepare you for the world, but then into the arena you go.

Competition takes many forms, many focusing on primarily physical strength. But what of strategem, the talent of cunning and stealth, the ability to work in concert with others of equal ability and desire?

This is where religion plays a huge part, either ecclesiastical or secular, truly the most profound, advanced weapon ever developed before or since.

Hence the criticism, crying and complaining on exhibit here, there and everywhere. “Our government; we were lied to; the land of the free, home of the brave; etc” Anyone see a pattern?

The top elite thinkers transcend religion, region, ethnicity, or any other superficial characteristic used to divide commoners againt themselves.

If this is Israel’s 9/11, then that implies Jewish leadership sacrificed Jewish citizens in order to further advance their goals of power and control. It erodes the point about Ukraine’s Jewish leadership sacrificing Slavs, or USA Anlgo-Jewish leadership sacrificing heritage ‘Muricans.

So, back to Rove: We are an empire. Nothing is sacred, no one is safe, religion or otherwise doesn’t protect you, citizens or foreigners alike; all are targets of conquest.

If you get that, then everything makes perfect logical sense. Your challenge then is to either get in and play, escape to someplace not yet on the target list, or be stupid and wave your little flag.

Maybe write some stern letters to your “representative”, complain and whine how the system is corrupt, and generally be unhappy as the residue of your childhood brainwashing confronts reality.

Title of a 1982 film produced by Francis Ford Coppola, music by Philip Glass. Incredible photography and music.

yirgach, I always translated it to be “Life out of Balance”. I first watched it 1985.

        badb,

I found this at the end of the movie:

        Ko.yaa.nis.qatsi (from the Hopi language),n.

        1. Crazy life. 2. Life in turmoil. 3. Life out of balance. 4. Life disintegrating. 5. a state of life that calls for another way of living.

Translation of the Hopi Prophecies sung in the film

“If we dig precious things from the land, we will invite disaster.”

“Near the Day of Purification, there will be cobwebs spun back and forth in the sky.”

“A container of ashes might one day be thrown from the sky, which could burn the land and boil the oceans.”

yirgach, I spent time with Zuni Pueblo fire crews (wild fires). They invited me to visit the pueblo and stay awhile. The last thing I heard at night was laughter, the first thing I heard in the morning was laughter, they were happy people.
They told me stories of where they came from and why they prayed every morning facing the sun.
On a fire dispatch (B-4 me) one of their crewmen had been hit by lightening (KIA) everybody on the crew saw him get hit, but nobody on the crew had seen him pray that morning, strong incentive to the rest huh?
In their belief system, if you get hit by lightening and nobody sees it, pretty soon the rains will come and wake you up. I told them that in my capacity as a Rep. of the the Govt. there were certain things I had to do if something like that happened so I had to know if there was a Shaman on the crew that could guide me, so I didn’t violate/insult any of their beliefs. That’s when my education really began. On long walks through the desert that they called home. I’m from the mountains so I was a stranger in a strange land, they had a name for everything and knew the purpose of all.

Hobson’s choice: you can have no money… or you can have plenty of money that’s worthless.

We do not have a choice. the solution will be thrust upon us and it will be worthless money.

In the last Great Depression there were plenty of things to buy but nobody had any money.

In the next Great Depression, everyone will have plenty of money, but it won’t buy anything.

Morey, the author of the article, “The Great Seal of the United States and Its Mystic Significance,” prepared a sketch for a short primer of the Illuminati teachings, and in this sketch, as will by shown by the drawings, it was brought out that man is not only a threefold being, but that he is actually a four-fold being as well. In short, that when he has succeeded in reaching Soul Illumination, he is the completed Pyramid or true Triangle.

If the student will give serious study to the article on the Seal of the United States, he will find that on the reverse side of the seal which is as yet uncut, there is to be found the Pyramid, but with the capstone as yet not placed, and thus he will see that the Philosophy of the Illuminati is the absolute and undeniable Philosophy upon which these United States are founded as is clearly indicated by our four-fold philosophy, and by the drawings of the reverse side of the United States seal.

And thus it would appear that the Unseen Hierarchies which shaped the foundation of the great Republic which must some day rule the world, are the same Hierarchies which gave us the Soul Science Philosophy as taught by the Illuminati.

And now let us look into the future, not far, but just beyond the line. We find that scholars condemn the design of the reverse side of the United States Seal, that it has never been cut but has remained hidden as though it were something to be ashamed of.

However, though this appears the truth, it is not the truth. The reason why it has never been cut is because the time is not yet as the cap-stone has not yet been set.

And what is this cap-stone? My reader, prepare for a shock.

When Atlantis ruled the world, that which is now America was connected with Egypt by what is now Mexico, and in Mexico, in the territory of the Yucatan, there is a Pyramid in which the Fire Philosophers worshipped God as Divine Fire and Life in like manner as did the Initiates of Egypt, for the two were then one.

America is not complete, and will not be complete, cannot be complete, until Mexico is again part of America as she was in the long ago, and when Mexico is once again a part of the United States, then will the cap-stone have been set on the Pyramid and the reverse side of the United States seal will be cut.

Thus you will see that the Soul Science Primer with its drawings, is but the beginning of the article concerning the Seal of the United States, while the article on “Body, Mind, Spirit and Soul” is the final thereof.

May it not be long until the Holy Pyramid shall be completed and may it be completed without the shedding of blood.
    Lovingly given,

Yes, the Protocols say they will have to be sent far away since they know too much. But if they are content with the Plateau, and intermarried with the Tribe, it isn’t really necessary at this point.

Back in the 19th century, Jews said, They’ll never let us lead their armies. They underestimated their powers of seduction and/or our powers of resistance.

The disconnected Capstone indicates the separation between the Elite or twice born and the gentiles, vandals, or human beasts. The gap will never be bridged. But yes, the secrecy might abate once they are in full control. But in reality, the gap will still be there. Thus the image is perfect as it is.

The Communist/Socialist/Fascist Democrat swine elite now running the U.S. government don’t give a damn about Israel, any more than they give a damn about ordinary, working, honest Americans. Their game is to create a Socialist dictatorship in the United States and they will do ANYTHING to get it, including starting World War III. No doubt, radical Islam (with plenty of cash from Biden funneled through Iran and likely a lot of U.S. military hardware from Biden’s totally f-ed up withdrawal from Afghanistan) is helping World War III to get going. For all their evil, radical Islamists aren’t stupid–they know that their best chance of not getting their asses kicked by the U.S. is right now, with the Obama/Hillary/Biden cabal still in full control of the U.S. Executive Branch. That could change come January 2025, and Trump or most any other Republican that could be elected President in 2024 will make it Job 1 to secure the U.S. borders, undertake the process of kicking umpteen million illegal aliens–including a lot of “sleeper cell” international terrorists–out of the U.S., and turning the U.S. intelligence and war-making apparatus against foreign enemies instead of toward parents at school board meetings, law-abiding gun owners, and those who think that there are just two sexes.

The Trump-haters–most of them just brainwashed morons–can cry all they want about how awful Trump was, but NONE of this would be happening if Trump had been President since 2020. Trump may be an SOB, but he’s our SOB, not a bunch of leftist douche canoe patsies for America’s enemies that now make up the Democrat scum elite.

In the news reports I keep hearing about the abduction and/or death of “women and children” as if we are supposed to gasp even louder in response.

Hold on here! I smell a double standard that applies when the bullets start whizzing by. Suddenly “women,” these strong independent beings capable of anything have backtracked to a time when (pass the smelling salts) Beaver’s mom served Ward’s favorite Swanson TV dinner and did the dishes after dusting the knick-knacks.

As for children — what are they? Just smaller autonomous beings capable of deciding which gender to latch onto.

    I demand a foolish consistency!

I recently insisted that Bobby Jr. answer the charge that he was a plant, a spoiler, and he needed to do it fast.

Well he just did. I must say I’m pleased that he is on his toes and aware of that.

The other thing he needs to be aware of, IMO, is the threat to his candidacy from the mail in ballots and the counting by machine.

If the machines take longer and don’t increase accuracy, there is no legitimate reason on God’s green Earth to use them.

He doesn’t want to lead all these people on just to have the election stolen from under him, does he?

This could be a gamechanger now!

    • Beryl of Oyl October 9, 2023 at 2:12 pm #

I wish I could be more excited about this.

I was talking to someone yesterday, he was saying it’s interesting to watch people online trying to talk themselves into liking the guy.

I like him enough personally, but I have so many misgivings.

I have been reading a lot from Mike Cernovich recently, because he has been talking about some of the current issues from the ‘side’ I seem to be on, which is no side really.

He has this to say about RFK Jr. and it encapsulates my fears about him. Not exactly the same, but at bottom Bobby believes in a lot of stuff I find just plain wrong, not just wrong but already tried and failed.

“RFK JR would lock down the country over climate change. He’s a hyperventilating shitlib who pivoted right on some issues as conservatives media is all he can get. He’s very jacked and a good example of healthy man, admirable in that way, but don’t be a goofball. Still a shitlib.”

Biden regime likely kept Israel in the dark for two reasons:

          1) The are all in the bag for the Palestinian cause and….

          2) They needed a big Middle East war to dominate the news and divert attention from runaway inflation, open borders invasion, Biden’s accelerating dementia, Biden’s nosediving poll numbers, RFK, Jr.’s announcement of independent presidential bid, etc, etc.

Of course, this also means that a lot of MSM propaganda about the bogus Lawfare cases being waged against Trump also has largely disappeared from the headlines.

Down in Mar-a-Lago the GGG grins broadly….spits on his hands….and raises the black flag ? of no quarter as his poll numbers continue to climb northward.

“So, it came as a big surprise when southern Israel was overrun by Hamas dudes in tricked-out pickup trucks and para-gliders… we’re in something that smells like uncharted territory… The scene looks a little bit like World War Three.”

There is… missing something. There is… trying hard NOT to see anything. And there is… not missing anything at all.

The Middle East is a hornets nest and chronic festering sore of inhuman turmoil and ethnic hatred. That region is a cultural co-dependence of misery and human pain. It has been this way for generations. It seems as if this has now been fully codified into the lifestyles of this darkened portion of Planet Earth.

The Middle East is an experiment of what happens when hate for its own sake is allowed to become implanted and come to term to bring endless harvests of death, pain, and misery. With little desire to seek honest solutions or to ever turn one’s back on useless human misery that exists solely to feed on itself and grow. This Region of Sorrows exposes the dark and ugly side of the human family that exists within the hidden corners of the human spirit.

People of good faith can always find common ground and a permanent solution to a cultural dissonance that seeks to lives for it own sake. People of no faith do not seek solutions and will in fact actively resist them as this would require an entirely new re-defining of oneself and one’s group and culture and sense of being and purpose. And few ever want to confront their own darkness within to find the Light… within and beyond self. Or some cowardly wait for someone else… some savior to end the insanity so the perps don’t have to exert any effort or confront any internal ugliness.

Hatred and bad intent does not come in a single flag or uniform. It comes in all shapes and sizes and backgrounds. No group of people anywhere are without sin. And Innocents are dying on all sides who wanted nothing more than to live out Life in peace.

There is the blatant first-level tragedy of the loss of lives and the widespread human suffering. And there is a secondary, deeper level of shame when human beings actively and with bad intent and manic stubbornness refuse to elevate themselves and their people beyond the pit of some of the worst actions and behaviors seen by humankind.

This pain and death and misery and tragedy will end when those involved finally decide it’s time to put an end to a useless lifestyle of madness that serves no good purpose whatsoever.

This pain and death and misery and tragedy will not end when those involved have made these deviancies one of their primary reasons for living and part of their core identity.

Shame. And shame, again. Prayers for the Innocents. And Planet Earth cries out for sanity to appear and for the pain and suffering to finally end. A rise of sanity and humanity from a seedbed of inhuman darkness.

Amman: “Pain and death and misery is what happens to covid and opioid victims, no?”

Various means of fostering pain and misery and death is one of the human family’s top specialties. There is no greater self-hating life form on face of the Earth than human beings. No other life form is on that level of self-destroying.

Just as a friendly reminder, it’s always about energy.

Even if the private credit money system didn’t require surplus to drive expansion, it would still be the prime directive; see Rome.

It doesnt even have to be a direct relationship, like Ukraine as a forward base against Russia, or Israel as our unsinkable carrier in the ME.

Rather, a secondary theater like China can merely be a test of power as a prelude to future competition over the real deal.

    • mitchellc October 9, 2023 at 3:56 pm #

I also hope people can see how ridiculously naive it is to believe any single person, whether Trump or Jr, can alter a millenia old cultural imperative.

The *only* thing that can challenge and possibly defeat state power is an equal peer adversary.

So, you accept the system that provides incredible abundance to those residing in the imperial homeland, or petulantly hope for defeat without truly understanding what that would actually mean.

That is the beauty of Qanon, 100. Trump is not acting as a “single person.” There are many, many, many White Hats acting all over the world.

If you knew history, you would never say this.

Not that far from where I live, there is a town called Manderscheid. There are two castles about four or five football fields apart. One has the high ground, the other the low. They fought over the valley, which had a water source and abundant food. The competition was so fierce that they built two fucking castles within view of one another.

There’s a difference between water in your territory, and oil across the world.

There’s also a difference between territorial primitive tribes and territorial agriculturalists (the agriculturalists, with ballooning populations, quickly squabble and castle-build and generally turn territories to shit and social relations to a farce of overcrowded comic squalor and petty warring rather than effective warring).

But, not every resource is the same, and I do not believe every single opportunity to grab at something pays off, ultimately.

Ideally, at least, I want some isolationism and development of self-reliance.

Not saying “fuggettabout resources.” Saying there are times when passing on some could benefit, and I wonder if the Middle East could be one. How much of a threat is an unchecked Muslim cohort left alone to do what they will really? Do we need the Israel connection as the constant thorn in the side if the Islamic states? Is it even an effective play in the context of oil?

Why not focus on our own hemisphere instead, for instance?

My comment was smugness-bait too. No shock at the catch or response. 🙂

And I’m on the fence as to global resource grabs. But do we really even have much of a strategy? Any real plan? Any real consensus as to end goals. I don’t think we do, more than half the time.

          • OG October 9, 2023 at 6:07 pm #

          • Night Owl October 9, 2023 at 6:16 pm #

The point, Gus, is that people will never stop fighting over resources, or hoarding them, or putting up walls around them.

“Letting go” of resources is not an option.

          • gustafson.robert.22 October 9, 2023 at 6:26 pm #

Owl, there are certainly hypothetical and real scenarios where letting go of one thing (to acquire another) is the smart play. Everybody’s always grabbing something. The strategy is what to grab, and when.

Like I said, my desired end-goal would be isolationism and self-reliance, rather than globe-trotting (enemy-creating) oil-grabs. Maybe unrealistic, but maybe at some point not too far down the line, not so unrealistic.

          • OG October 9, 2023 at 6:28 pm #

The human brain has developed an outer layer late in its evolution, engendering the much-gushed-over “warm” and nurturing, protective instinct to go along with the reptilian core and the executive part. But that protection still only extends to one’s own family and (perhaps) to the surrounding small community of likeminded cultural and ethnic homogenous tribe.

Throughout history, communities only had a chance to work when we were limited to groups of about 30 people. We had to be flexible enough to move immediately when in danger (fewer people), but strong enough to survive attacks from the next village, whether by surprise or not (more people). Thirty was the sweet spot.

Right now, we’re besieged by extremely complex forces of competing interests, some of whom are incredibly “asymmetrically” powerful, and who also have abstract means of enslavement (pieces of exchanged paper built only on trust), as well as recruitment power for those among us to do their own work.

As for ourselves, we now feel permanently entitled to the perks we’ve been accustomed to from birth, and without which we’re helpless.

Strip away the community building efforts of church, organic nuclear family, free expressions of art and general assembly, and our brains, not to mention our spirit, break under the confusion.

IOW, we, as a loose collection of have-nots, internationally, as a nation, or even as a city, have little to no cohesion, so not enough internal force to withstand TPTB.

That said, after the SHTF, the remaining pockets of humanity will get to observe the next stage when the PTB will become complacent, bloated, and spiritually sick, infighting for ever more power which will crush them in turn.

The hidden fact within is that when they destroy it, they buy up more of what they destroyed. Then it some of it grows back and/or they build it into what they want, extract what they want, etc., and they are much richer, and we are much poorer.

If the last three years have taught us anything, I would think the above would come to mind at least once.

Addressing NATO on Monday in Denmark, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky urged global action amid a growing chasm of terror after Hamas’ weekend attacks on Israel.

Zelensky compared the tense situation in Gaza to the war in Ukraine by highlighting similarities in the actions of terrorists and their impact on innocent civilians in both regions.

Zelensky noted that Hamas and Moscow “were the same evil” and that the only thing that can guarantee peace is action on behalf of allied countries and adherence to the governing structures of international law.

Let’s add the 9/11 attacks, and years of failures in the Middle East specifically; including the “weapons of mass destruction” lies for the justification of the Iraq War, the “Sunni Uprising” in Iraq 2005, ISIS, the Taliban offensives which retook Kabul, etc. This short list only mentions some more recent events. You find intelligence failures like the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 for example, etc.

I think Gaza will cease to exist as an independent entity after these attacks. It will become Israeli territory, with the Palestinian people there either going to Egypt or the West Bank.

If you were looking at this situation from the Israeli point of view, Gaza makes no security sense.

It acts as a literal thorn in the side of the Israeli state.

    • Anthea October 11, 2023 at 11:52 am #

      @ PeteAtomic:

I’d say that the reason Gaza exists is because is because they are valuable as political pawns for setting off wars as desired and keeping Arab passions inflamed against Israel and vice-versa.

I think I’ve read or been told that none of the surrounding Arab nations will take the Palestinians. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but one would think that the Palestinians would emigrate if they were able–which suggests they are not. Anyway, if true, that means that the surrounding Arab countries enjoy using Gaza as a political football, as does Israel. That why the place exists. And, as long as it’s useful to the major players, it will continue to exist.

If, on the other hand, the Palestinians in Gaza could easily emigrate, that suggests to me that they are kept there by a continual barrage of political propaganda, enjoining them to keep fighting for their “cause.” There seems to be quite a bit of confusion about what their cause actually is, or what is their desired outcome. I seem to remember their getting played by their own leadership’s rejection of past workable agreements, for no other reason than to keep said leadership in money and power, since they were making bank of keeping things stirred up. Think BLM for comparison.

I think they’re just a bunch of hapless people who are getting played for the political purposes of just about everyone else in the region.

      • Paula D October 12, 2023 at 12:16 pm #

I think they are grifters. If you are on Facebook, you’ve probably been hit up for money by them.
“Please help me! I have ten starving children who need shoes. Please send me money.”
(I know you are pro-multiple children, but my reaction is “I’ll send you condoms, not money.”

I have a friend who, overcome with compassion, decided to go to Gaza and volunteer. She is the one who told me how well they live off of donations from the rest of the world.

Yeah, Egypt closed their border with Gaza a while back. As I posted above, Jordan threw them out after they started a bloody civil war, which included hijacking planes and blowing them up. That is when the whole airline security started, in which people are hassled for wanting to travel somewhere.

Then they went to Lebanon, and started two civil wars there.

When Syria, who hosts a population of Palestinian refugees, came under attack from ISIS, Hamas supported ISIS, not Syria.
They seem rather ungrateful to host countries.

But they are very useful for Arab countries to point to, when their own populations get restive.

“Look over there! Oppressed Palestinians! They have it much worse than you do!”

    Barnhardt

Columbus Day reminder to thank God Almighty for the first glorious Colonization, Proselytization and Conversion of the Americas
I put “first” in the title, because it is going to have to be done again.

One of the things that you hear from the New World Order cabal and Antipope Bergoglio is that one of the worst things to ever happen was the conversion of the Americas, specifically the Spanish conquest of the Americas, but now also the abject hoaxes that Antipope Bergoglio gleefully participates in about Catholic orphanages slaughtering eskimo and indian children in Canada. Here’s a bit of history that the Marxist education system has completely edited out of the book.

I, along with the reader who sent this to me, had always assumed that the family of the Aztec Emperor Montezuma was killed by the Spanish, namely Hernan Cortes, in order to keep the Aztecs from rallying to them and trying to re-establish the Aztec throne with his children. Montezuma did die, but it is unclear HOW he died. Admittedly, Cortes may have had him killed, but there are also accounts of Montezuma being stoned to death by his own people AND accounts of Montezuma starving himself to death. We just don’t know.

What we do know for a metaphysical certitude is what happened to Montezuma’s children – and brace yourself because this is going to be a shocker. They all converted to Catholicism, and were quickly created titular Spanish royalty by the King of Spain. Not only were Montezuma’s children and grandchildren not killed, but they were recognized and respected as royalty and integrated into the Spanish Royal caste as Dukes, Duchesses, Counts and Countesses. They then relocated to Spain and married other Spanish royalty, and their lines and titular houses exist to this day, with those houses receiving pensions all the way up until ARSH 1934.

    [picture]

The crest of the House of Moctezuma.
The crest of the House of Moctezuma.

What this shows is the amazing respect that the Spanish had for the people that they encountered in the Americas, DESPITE the horrific pagan atrocities that the Spanish encountered. The Spanish must have been utterly revolted at what they found in the Aztec culture, but STILL RECOGNIZED THE HUMANITY of the Aztecs. And yes, I do attribute this to the fact that the Spanish were working under the auspices of the Church, and the most important aspect their mission was to spread the Gospel to the peoples of the Americas. They didn’t view the Aztecs as sub-human. They viewed them as a pagan people that Christ Himself longed to have integrated into His Body. And you know what? MISSION. ACCOMPLISHED.

I am always shocked by how many Christians, falling for the Marxist propaganda of the last 60 years, LAMENT that the Latin American pagan cultures were converted to Christianity. This betrays the fact that most modern Christians really don’t believe in Christ or the Gospel deep down. How could a believing Christian LAMENT souls entering the Body of Christ? Furthermore, look at the Aztec, Maya and Inca cultures themselves. They were absolutely horrific. The amount of human sacrifice was massive. Life-or-death sporting events were also very common. Are we really so brainwashed by Marxist propaganda that we believe that the world would be a better place if such horrors were never exterminated and continued to this day – because ANYTHING is better than Christianity? Really? Every Christian should regularly offer prayers of Thanksgiving to Our Lord for the conversion of Latin America which began with Columbus’ expedition, the joy of many millions of people coming to know Christ and hear the Gospel, and for the extermination of the horrendous, satanic culture of human sacrifice that was swept away – may it never, ever return.

    Oh… wait.

With Israel in a major hot war, the “news” will focus (yet again) on events in the M.E.

Did the US really give over 125 billion USD to the government of Kiev?

      Follow the money:

      Biden sez, “Give Ukraine $125B.”
      Congress sez, “Done!”
Treasury sez, “We need another $125B.”
Fed giggles and maniacally rubs its hands together.
      Fed sez, “Done.”
      MIC sez, “Over here!”
      Treasury sez, “Done.”

Most of the $125B goes from Fed to Treasury to MIC (i.e. the $125B is created in and never, ever leaves DC).

I suppose I have now read ” The Gulag Archipelago ” cover – to cover several times over.

But I never read it cover – to – cover.

    For me , at least , it works very much like an encyclopedia or a dictionary ;

You can flip it open to any page , front or back . read it front to back , or just as well back to front.

It was , and is , my go – to basic textbook on criminal justice.

It was specifically about Soviet criminal justice ,

but in my opinion the contents apply as well to any country , culture , and at any time.

    For example , I flip it open to a random page and read ;

    ( paraphrased from memory )

The Soviets shipped a kooky little cult off to an island in the arctic and left them there to starve.

The beef was that this cult held that swearing oaths is a sin.

Every time you check ” Yes ” on a document , or put your signature on a document , you are swearing an oath.

    So that shit don’t work.

Liberty , equality , and fraternity is all about filling out forms.

    Sounds very familiar to me.

Even a courageous Op-Ed in a major Israeli newspaper had the courage, now, in all the rawness to blame Yahoo:

“The op-ed said that the prime minister had “completely failed to identify the dangers he was consciously leading Israel into” when he established a government of “annexation and dispossession”
“ The piece said that Netanyahu had shaped the policy of the government led by Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid, which aimed “to crush the Palestinian national movement in both its wings, in Gaza and the West Bank.”

The newspaper said that after winning in the last election, his “fully-right government” had taken steps to to annex the West Bank and to carry out ethnic cleansing “

“The piece criticized Netanyahu for a “massive expansion” of settlements and increasing the Jewish presence on Temple Mount near the Al Aqsa Mosque, as well as a peace deal with Saudi Arabia “in which the Palestinians get nothing.”

“Signs of an outbreak of hostilities began in the West Bank, where Palestinians started feeling the heavier hand of the Israeli occupier,” Haaretz said. “Hamas exploited the opportunity in order to launch its surprise attack.”

Again, this all megalomaniac Yahoo’s doing

We know nature and the cosmos will have its way, ultimately.

“We’re going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran,”
    General Wesley Clark

Five years? The hubris! They haven’t even finished with the first six and it’s been 22 years.

Looks like the New Pearl Harbor event, used to rampage through the first six countries, has worn off.
So they need a New New Pearl Harbor, now also known as the New 9-11. (The marketing department works fast.)

But they drilled the story of the Sunni vs Shiite hatred into us for years, to explain why the Iraq insurgency devolved into internecine warfare after two years (and the arrival of Negroponte and James Steele).

“They have hated each other for centuries” they told us, eager to share history with Americans, because they want us to be educated and aware.

But now we are supposed to believe that Hamas, a creation of Israel based on the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood, is BFFs with Shiite Iran.

And we are supposed to believe that Iran has a “ratline” straight into Gaza, through which they pour missiles, guns and ammo, without the Israelis knowing about it.

    Sure, dudes.

And then they use the “Intelligence failure” line again, to top it of!

And a music festival with undesirables is attacked. Shades of Las Vegas, 2017.

They just keep remaking the old movies.

    Change the subject a moment.

I reported last week that we saw all those wind farms off the northeast shore of England on our cruise. Miles and miles of windmills as far as the eye could see.

Read a report today that that wind farm was starting up Oct. 7 starting with sector A of four sectors. Its name is Dogger Bank and will be comprised of four sectors. As I reported, there was an entire pier in Zeebrugges set up to stage the windmills out to sea.Huge enterprise.

    Now, here are the facts.

When complete, it will supply 3.6 gigawatts, fully up as running at full blast.

It will supply 6 million homes. Sounds impressive

    Until

You understand that by the time it is completed there will be 4 million homes in London alone and 29 million homes in England and Wales. That is an increase of about 10%, about 3 million homes in 7 years. So as of today, 50% of this humongous effort will feed growth only in England and Wales. That only includes homes, not government or industrial growth.

We need wind and solar and fast. Not as the CC idiots say though, we need them to offset part of the growth of energy needs in the world. Absolutely no reduction in oil, gas and coal will happen due to renewables, matter of fact as the area of the continental shelf’s declines suitable for development, the ability to grow is going to decline in Europe. More fossil fuels will be required.

Climate Changers will argue saying that life styles will change to bring down the energy usage.

In the short term, they are full of kaka. Just look back a few decades, there has been no decline or net conservation at all. More and more energy will be needed.

If peak oil is real, and I believe it is, the habits of humanity is going to change, it will be forced upon us. I am grateful I will not see what is coming.

First step is for the youngest generations today to be honestly educated on what is coming, that they better figure out more energy economical ways of doing business and set the researchers out finding these ways. Stop believing the extremely stupid governments who are trying to indoctrinate them with the answer is renewables. Stop the BS concern about CO2 as this is the governments’ BS answer to placate the people. And please shut Greta up, she is just a symbol of the ignorance of the PTB.

How do we triple the amount of energy we get from a barrel of oil or a cu. Yd of gas. How do we make coal a zero contributor to pollution? How do we find ways to recycles renewable parts?

Just watch the cost of oil. All the needs for oil are reflected in the price, demand has no direction to go but up.

Get rid of the lock that the CC nuts have on the Deep State, fire Biden and Kerry. Now, four years from now is too late.

” Probably the worst part of Christianity is this “rising above the primitives” bit. ”

As I have stated ad naseum I suppose , I’m big on the Doctrine of Original sin.

    So I wouldn’t know.

” It was 100% European Christian culture, including the fucked up genetics and mental defectiveness related to diets, etc, that created Ed Gein.

No wonder he tried to find release from the diseased state in which he found himself… release in the direction of the repressed primitive. ”

As far as I know Ed Gein only killed one person , that we can establish definitively.

And I have my doubts that corpses were really put off by tea parties ,
or even fuck sessions , with Ed.

I’m not saying murder is OK , but Ed Gein is not on my worst list either.

A problem I have with population reduction is that I can’t picture anyone agreeing that , ” Your Genes are superior to my Genes ”

which , it seems to me , is exactly what you are agreeing to.

Low and behold , maybe I am stupid,

because some say that a population collapse is coming ,

that it is precisely those who believe most squarely in Social Darwinism who supposedly are not even replacing their numbers , supposedly not growing.

Presumably the survivors will be the folks who did not get with the program , or did not get the memo.

” Deplorables ” , but perhaps by some other name.

    As for the Spanish and the Aztecs ;

If you saw a priest in a suit of human skin , with his hair matted flat with years of dried blood , before an altar , and entire room , saturated black with blood ,

might you flip the fuck out , and ethnocentricity be damned ?

On the other hand , our Conquistador writes matter – factly about branding ownership on slaves faces , and some of those slaves being fucked .

So somebody has branded you as their property on your face , and fucking you every night ,

but then maybe you have a place to live , maybe even a McMansion , don’t have to worry , probably , about being tommorows human sacrifice , and maybe don’t even have to scrub toilets or chop sugar cane ,

    so …..

Anyway , I don’t get the impression , no , that the Conquistadors were Care Bear Snowflakes.

I suppose I could be missing something , but I have a hard time finding history that isn’t a horror movie.

    • Anthea October 10, 2023 at 9:39 am #

There is undoubtedly a lot of history that’s a horror story, but there were many people in history who lived simple, good lives–and even quite a few of them who did good things. We can get the impression that it was mostly bad, but I think that may be because simple goodness is mostly unsung and uncelebrated. Nobody puts up fancy memorials to it or builds palaces to remind us of people who read the kids a bedtime story or took care of a sick animal, or how much fun we had cutting firewood in the snow with our friends.

The good stuff is everywhere. More importantly, it is within our power to create a good world in our own small way–though often against some opposition. But it’s best not to get the idea that you will go down in history for it.

      • Jarek October 10, 2023 at 1:08 pm #

The good stuff is dependent on the bad stuff. The good people are allowed to live their good lives after the land has been conquered by the bad people.

As the Fathers said, echoing Christ, Satan is Rex Mundi.

Hypocrites like the Quakers and Feminists are the worst. At least the Amish and Mennonites pray for their “English” protectors.

Thank God that the Holy Spirit inspired the Church Fathers to create the Doctrine of Just War.

You guys talk like you are all the helpless victims of fate. If you didn’t cultivate virtues, it is not because of the times you live in. It’s because you chose not to.

” Trying to have it both ways. ”

As I have said , as a little girl I wanted to be a soldier when I grew up.

( In the army of your sworn enemy . )

And I’m a devout Catholic , if not exactly an Orthodox one.

So I suppose it is hardly surprising that one of my minor hobbies is collecting Sisters of Battle toy soldiers and toy tanks , from the franchise Warhammer 40k.

A problem with this hobby is that a great many of this demographic are people who can pay a hundred dollars at the drop of a hat for a piece of plastic.

And they seem to think that makes them equal to a posthumous Medal of Honor winner.

And they can read a comic book ( albeit a comic book with five and six syllable words ) makes them a genius.

So last week , for example , no I wasn’t banned from a Discord server devoted to this hobby ,

I quietly left the server because these people made me really fucking uncomfortable.

I settled for another server on the same topic , not just because it was Sisters of Battle – specific ,

but because one of the first things I saw was lots of tri color Perriwinkle Blue , white , and Pink flags.

They are pretty colors for a flag , and being my perverse self , I suppose I will put such a flag on a Sisters unit flag barer eventually.

Actually I don’t give a flying fuck about their politicized sexual fetishes ,

so maybe I won’t have to change servers for awhile at least.

    Even hobbies are political.

I think it is fucking silly.

But I never win the vote.

It is amusing watching the “alternative” news sites go full neocon.

    Full war hawk mode.

    Reflexive conservatism.

One by one they all fall for the MIC ploy.

Citizen Free Press might as well be The Weekly Standard at this point.

    Revolver is not far behind.

Off the Press, which mostly masquerades as alt conservative, can’t contain its Anti-Trump opinion, is right there too.

You can forget about the Evsngelical slanted sites, they’re all in.

It’s so easy to manipulate the based.
    It’s quite hilarious.

    Mitch would call it genius.
    I tip my hat

      You’re coming around.

Just remember, recognition of talent/genius, maybe even grudging respect, does not equate to advocacy.

“That’s some catch, that Catch-22,’ he observed.
‘It’s the best there is,’ Doc Daneeka agreed.

Yossarian saw it clearly in all its spinning reasonableness. There was an elliptical precision about its perfect pairs of parts that was graceful and shocking, like good modern art …”

If the goal in life is to score as much trim, eat as much steak, and drink as much wine as one desires, all without too much effort, high remuneration and minimal stress, then it behooves one to understand reality.

And the reality is that very clever, cunning people captured banking and media long before anyone alive today was even born.

You can complain, you can cynically opine, you can show how erudite and informed you are by listing off a pedigree of supposed alternative sites, but it doesn’t alter the fact that Bernays, et al figured out how to manipulate and craft public opinion a long time ago.

What we observe today is a real world demonstration of how effective this management process is in shaping and supporting an official narrative that always serves the interests of the ownership class.

Unsue if any of those sites demonstrate erudition.

    For some background —

( A FEW folks like my writings. )

I wrote some fan fiction about about a tree that grows in the Kaurava System that is very much like cocoa called Eldar Trees.

It is made into chocolate bars , marketted under the name ” Harlequin Chocolate ” which is a 160% effective birth control pill , with the common side – effect with habitual use of sterility.

In my opinion it read like a dry sociological essay.

And the sole dirty picture was a picture of a candy bar wrapper that featured a quite conventional Ballerina in mid – flight .

And another dry , sociological essay about a long – lasting recreational stimulant and aphrodisiac , the delivery device for which was a very large Tarantula spider . The drug was the poison in the fangs of the spider that it uses on its prey ,

But as I said , in humans the effect is a stimulant and an aphrodisiac.

The spider is not particularly aggressive toward humans.

So you have a pet , and get your fix too.

Whooa , Katie bar the door !

    They didn’t like that fiction.

” But ok I will indulge you in your last few weeks on Earth: ”

Mikoyan and Molotov hung out with Lenin , i.e. two of the oldest butchers on the block .

    Pretty colorless though.

Molotov lived into the 1980’s , and Mikoyan lived to see a McDonald’s on Red Square.

I suspect God takes people when it suits him , and we never know when that will be.

      Or beautiful ?

      I don’t know.

Over a life time I reckon 10% of my dreams are nightmares.

      The other 90% are wonderful.

      Funny thing though —

Christ said , ” My Kingdom is not of this Earth. ”

My nightmares seem to be very much about this world.

In dwelling on the wonderful dreams I have I came to the shocking — at least strong suspicion — that 90 % of the characters in my dreams are dead people.

The remaining 10% are people who might as well be dead. People who are far away by choice.

And the settings of the dreams —

      ” We’ll be able to fly … ”

Levitation and flying without an airplane are common in my dreams.

How much levitation and flying around without an airplane do you see in this world ?

I suspect the locations and settings in my dreams are not on this planet.

Sure , it was written by a Catholic Priest , and got a favorable reception in many Catholic circles.

In many other Catholic circles they were horrified by it.

    An interesting comment at MoA:

“This fiasco reminds me of a similar fiasco a decade ago in Benghazi Libya. Remember when “the press” assured everyone that a random ragtag group of individuals spontaneously got together to attack the US embassy, because they had all watched a stupid YouTube video? Everyone was 100% certain this was the cause and the effect. The same clique of foreign policy “experts” were running things at the White House. They had been watching the whole time. They had warned the Ambassador not to travel to Benghazi. They assured the world that there were zero US soldiers nearby that might have helped.

A few weeks or a month later, the initial story proved complete rubbish. There was a US navy SEAL team a short helicopter ride away, and they were told to stand down. There was a CIA safe house with private contractor soldiers less then 15 minutes away, they too were told to stand down. The YouTube video had less than 10 views prior to the attack.

Turned out the CIA safe house was collecting Qaddafi’s weapons, and shipping them to “moderate terrorist groups” in Syria. The definition of “moderate” was “willing to fight Syria’s government”. Rival terrorist groups were not happy at the uneven distribution of weapons, and how it would effect their power in the region. The YouTube video had been watched by less than 10 people, none of whom were anywhere near the middle east. Everything the media and the Obama foreign policy team (NSC, State Dept, DoD, etc) told the public was wrong, and authorities knew it was wrong from the beginning.

Deja vu all over again. The same foreign policy team is in the White House. Their story is very quickly proving to be full of holes. We don’t know the truth, but we already know the official story doesn’t add up.”

CFN is an excellent tier 2 site, the preparatory level before full awareness.

Look at how the host continues to periodically revert to politics, or actually seems to expect justice to produce anything other than state victory.

However. MoA may be too strong in a pure, undiluted form for even advanced geo-pol students. I mean think about it, you have Chomsky, Hedges, et al other testing wits.

CFN provides a nice bridge that serves to spread the truth to tertiary and possibly even marginally mainstream thought for curious readers.

I’ve mentioned a number of times on here how I think it is good to let it marinate for a few days before reaching conclusions.

I’ll go with your intro re: Benghazi as an example. It looked a lot different with a little passage of time.

The photo of the (I believe Turk) fellow doing arms deals, he standing outside the building (why is he there?) about 2 weeks prior to the Benghazi event, is down the memory hole. Can’t find the photo.

It’s always in the details. I don’t think the photo was intended for public consumption. Picture worth a thousand words.

What about the Temple Mount ?

Maybe it had nothing to do with Mohammed , but they will never let it go .

      I wouldn’t.

Scott Ritter explains that Israeli forces concentrated in door-to-door combat to quell Hamas in Gaza will result in Hezbollah attacking north Israel from Lebanon, Syria attacking the Golan Heights and Iran opportunistically engaging with, “Now is the time to end the Israeli threat once and for all!”

    bitchuteDOTcom/video/TfpM2dKsehUR/

    • OG October 10, 2023 at 12:17 am #

Ritter: “Look, there was a day and age where America could put 750,000 to a million troops in the Middle East in a matter of weeks and change the outcome of any conflict. That day has long passed. Today we have a military that’s a shadow of its former self incapable of meaningfully projecting power into areas of the world that had been hardened against that very possibility.

“Iran’s ability to sink American ships at a distance has changed the algorithms that are used there. Iran knows this and America knows this.

“The United States today is confronting its impotence in Europe and in Asia. Right now, I can guarantee you in the Situation Room with the White House, the Pentagon is saying, ‘Boss, we can’t do it! We can’t do anymore! We’re already broke. If this thing blows up in the Middle East, it is game-set-match.’

“We’re done as an economy because if Iran does get pulled in and then we respond – there goes all the oil production capability in the Middle East. And that’s the end of the modern era of humanity because without that oil, the economy of the world will come screeching to a halt.”

        OG

Remember that the role of the aircraft carrier is no to survive, but to deliver its payload of aircraft before it is destroyed. The carrier task force is a deterrent to troublemakers as they know what nuke equipped carrier aircraft can do.

If you want ships that survive to fight again and again, the battleships are the tickets. 16 inches of armor plate in the Iowa class group makes for a good defense. In Long Beach, the Iowa is a good example of what a weapons platform a battleship can be. Good for shore bombardment, good for task force defense, good for ship to ship combat, the perfect naval war machine.

So why are we spending trillions on Gerald Ford class carriers that can be dispatched pretty easily.

Midway, the first carrier based battle, was extremely lucky for the US. One thing that has been ignored by the carrier fans in the MIC is that all four carriers from Japan and the Yorktown were destroyed in the battle. That is pretty piss poor as an attack option.

As an example. In a blow up in the Straits of Hormuz, we could park the New Jersey right in the middle and just dare Iran to bring out its pesky navy. Another would be the use of a battleship as an air defense platform leading for a carrier group.

The Iowa was awesome with its missile systems before it was decommissioned. Typical Deep State stupidity.

If nukes gets involved at sea, everyone loses. I happen to believe that we gave up too much fire power when we retired the Iowa, New Jersey, Missouri and Wisconsin.

        • Not_GeorgeT October 10, 2023 at 8:57 pm #

Carrier groups have been used in low intensity conflicts to gain air superiority with minimal risk to the carrier itself.

To be in such a conflict, 3 carrier groups are required. 12 hours on, 12 hours off. The 12 off is to prepare for the next 12 on. Three are required because if one is lost (as in sunk or catastrophically disabled) there is enough offensive depth to maintain air superiority.

Until recently I tracked the movement of carrier groups as a sort of indicator regarding where a major outbreak of hostilities might occur. Adding the Charles DeGaulle into the mix was important because it could be the third carrier group.

The weapons systems developed and deployed over the past few years by countries such as the Russian Federation have made the carrier group obsolete in a dispute with a major player.

Irans development of a small craft navy able to swarm a carrier group is another approach with is rather low tech with high potential return.

A few years back the Russian federation did some precision missile work from small craft in the Caspian Sea towards the area of the Persian Gulf. The Theodore Roosevelt group left the area immediately.

Artful diplomacy bests armed conflict any day.
